    « Exceeded expectations »

First off this is not a 4 star hotel or a 4 star location but neither does it claim to be so my rating is based on the fact that it is strong in its bracket. I believe this is a 3 star hotel and it earn those nicely. The hotel rooms are a nice size, clean, with nice decor and the essentials all provided. Comfy bed, nice shower, T.V., tea and coffee maid facility ...etc No complaints. It's exactly what it claims to be. The staff were very friendly, the self serve check in is very cool and the bar was quite fun too. They have a giant shuffle board table which is great fun to play whilst you are waiting for a taxi. It has a full size american style pool table and a large bar area. Breakfast was better than you get in most 4 star hotels, a great range of cooked food, bacon, scrambled eggs pancakes, meatballs, boiled eggs, breads, pastries, meats, cheese, yoghurt, cereals as well as a great selection of juices even a self squeeze orange juice machine. All good quality and sets you up nicely. This was a business trip so location wasn't key to us. If location is important to you and you want to be in the centre of stockholm then this probably isn't for you. That said, if you are prepared the get the train then you'll find a metro/subway/undergound facility within 5 minutes walk that will connect you to central stockholm in 25 minutes with trains running every 5 minutes or so. If you are driving, parking is free and the hotel is very easy to find. If you are hiring from the airport be sure to leave plenty of time to get back to the airport as you'll have to go through stockholm which always seems busy in the week. So, exceeded expectations for what i would say is a budget category hotel. Great for business possibly less for couples but still not a bad choice if you get a good deal.

Great hotel and wonderful and friendly staff. Nice clean room. Parking for your car for free. Nearby the hotel you have a lot of options for dinner. Breakfast was very good with a lot of different breads. Natural orange juice and from the machine. Recommendable

    « 3 day city break »

Very small room, not much space to move around, shower good but door off tracks. Breakfast ok but dark dismal dining room. Not very inviting! On the plus side all staff pleasant and friendly. Wouldn't recommend this hotel to people who are visiting on a short break because of the distance into the city and the time it takes. (about half an hour to 40 mins)

« Nice hotel but bad experience »

I spent one night in this hotel during a business trip to Sweden. The hotel is located not in the best Stockolm area but inside looks really much more better than first external impression. Good care in common area (very nice the minicarling table in the hall...). My experience was unfortuntaely not good: 1) small room 2) energy power far from bed 3) shower doors not working; I was not able to close them I onestly think that my experience was not the standard but that's it and I comment it....

« Good hotel in weak location »

The hotel is fine with fenced parking, located next to the shopping Center. However the immediate location next to the hotel is not very nice. During the day, metro station is accesible through the SC, but when closed, you have to go around, passing strange groups of people. Hotel breakfast is also good.

    « Best Western, Skarholmen »

Not the best location, but easy to catch the sub-way in to Gamla Stan / Old City and Centrum. Service desk help will probably be satisfactory, if you get an other person than we had. Breakfast was outstanding, think Swedish smorgasbord.

    « Good »

It depends on what you are looking for in a hotel. This hotel might not be in the city centre but there is free parking space and you are a 5 minute walk away from the tube where you have to take a 10 minute ride. The staff was great, very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was really good and dinner was also fine. They have a sauna and small gym for those interested. The only thing I did not like was they obviously did not cleaned under beds or behind cabins. There was a lot of dust! Overall a nice hotel.

    « Great hotel »

Great hotel at a good price. Rooms are clean, staff are friendly and there is an excellent buffet style breakfast. Hotel is not in the centre of Stockholm but the T-bana station is only a short walk away and then it's around a 20min journey into town.

« Overall experience is good but slightly disappointed »

Came as a family with two small kids and has been informed of very late check-in. Booked a double room with double bed but given a single room with a single bed and they wanted to put in an extra bed in that small room. Changed to a single room with double bed for the night and has to ask for a another set of towels. Don't have the energy to argue as we have just drive for 7 hours beforehand. We demanded a double room with double bed for our next night and was given the next day. The location is superb for our intention and there are malls around the hotel. Overall facilities of the hotel and the breakfast was okay. There is a free private parking.

    « Americans in Stockholm »

Chose this hotel based on reviews from Tripadvisor. I wanted a hotel with plenty of parking that was close to the Subway. Hotel was on the older side but still a nice place to stay. Plenty of parking in a secured outdoor parking lot. It only took a few minutes to walk to the mall next door and walk to the T station. We then went to Stockholm and avoided trying to find parking in Stockholm. The breakfast was included and was really good. This hotel is a very good value for the money if your visiting Stockholm. Free secured parking and a short walk to the T station really worked for us. Wifi worked great.

« Great location and decent rooms »

My friend and I traveled to Sweden for four days in June. This was the perfect place to stay during our mini city break! The main thing we discovered is that Sweden is a very expensive city.. matching London prices; however, the Best Western was affordable and was in a perfect location to get around the city. The hotel is about 35/40 mins from the hotel and costs roughly £50. We got an uber using the free airport wifi but used a taxi organised by the hotel on return. The hotel rooms are fairly basic but are clean which is the main concern. In Stockholm, the hotel room is literally somewhere to sleep so we were not too bothered by the room. There was a wide variety of food available as part of the continental breakfast which was pleasing. From the hotel, it is a short walk through the shopping centre to get to the train station. The area is fairly quiet and can seem a bit creepy at night, however we (two girls) were fine walking around at midnight. The shopping centre closes earlier than most (5pm on Saturdays & Sundays) which was suprising. There is a large food court inside but this is the extent of the dining establishments in the area. We bought a travel card to use the train for 72 hours, which was perfect for the duration of our trip. The train system is very easy to use, there is one train which goes directly into T-Centralen which is where the main buzz of the city can be found. Swedish people are also extremely friendly and speak very good english! As previously mentioned, Stockholm is very expensive - especially for alcohol!

    « So So »

This hotel is a train ride from the centre of Stockholm and when you leave the underground station you have to walk through a shopping centre to reach it. OK when the shopping centre's open but a bit grim if you have to walk round the back. I was with my husband but I wouldn't have fancied it on my own or with a female friend. The hotel is "so so". Our room was perfectly adequate and clean but just looked tired and in need of decorating. The breakfast was ok but nothing special and the restaurant, although the food was "nice" was grim. No tablecloths or candles just like eating in the lobby with a tv on with no sound. Stockholm is a beautiful city as long as you don't drink but at £9 for a small glass of wine and over £10 for a gin and tonic you're guaranteed to stay sober.

« Great location, lovely rooms and amazing breakfast. »

Well located in a nice quiet area, very near to metro and bus routes. Around a 2 minute walk to the SKHLM shopping center which is full of shops, eateries and supermarkets. (Including a System Bolaget). Rooms were very clean, and the buffet breakfast has everything you need from cooked to continental breakfast. Would definitely stay again, highly recommended.

    « Nice experience »

In this hotel I stopped second time and I'm absolutely satisfied! First of all - staff: it's really helpful and kind people are working there. Next - restaurant: in this tame it was a little repair, but we could eat and use bar!

« Great value for money »

Well thank goodness for TripAdvisor recommending this hotel! It was a great price for myself, mum and sister going to visit my nephew in Stockholm. It is only a few stops (approx. 20 mins on the train into the city centre). Our room was huge and we all had a very comfortable double bed each! We slept well and our en-suite bathroom had a great power shower. The breakfast was really delicious and had a wide range of hot and cold food and drinks which you helped yourself to as much as you wanted. The staff were helpful and friendly. There is a gym and sauna at the hotel which were being refurbished while we were there. There is a lovely shopping centre right beside the hotel and a daily market in the square too. I will definitely stay at this hotel again next time I go to Stockholm, the value for money is unbeatable.

« Hotel accommodation for business visit to Hamra Farm »

The hotel has friendly staff. If a problem arises, solved it with a smile. Welcoming lobby bar. Good and free WiFi. Dinner buffet of high quality. Good breakfast buffet with eggs. Shower drain was almost clogged. The room was somewhat touch of wear, but was modern decorated and furnished.

« Excellent hotel and great food »

The staff at this hotel are very polite and very friendly, nothing was any trouble. The hotel is very clean and has a warm relaxed feeling. The rooms are clean and cosy decorated in a modern style, the bathroom could do with a freshen up but it's fine. The restaurant serves excellent food not a big selection but I ate here for two nights and its of very high quality. The bar is cosy and the service is excellent always smiling and speaks fluent English. Will definitely use this hotel again.

« A friendly, clean and comfortable hotel. »

The location of the hotel was great. It's very close to the metro stations, a mall and there are plenty of restaurants nearby too. The breakfast was good and staff were exceptionally nice. The room was a bit smaller than I expected but since we were out most of the time sight seeing, that was not a big deal. Overall, the place is good for a stay of couple of days.

    « IKEA, convenient, free-parking, dog-friendly »

The location is great for IKEA and also has a shopping mall beside it, convenient for grocery needs, and meals - it has a food court and fast food outlets. The mall has a t-bana station that will take you to Stockholm. It has fenced-in free parking which you access with a room card. The rooms are modern, no-frills but clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. They reply to email enquires promptly too. It's pet-friendly and I have stayed in more expensive hotels but this was the only one that provided my dog with a water-bowl and dog treats! She was so happy and so was I. First time in a Q hotel definitely will consider staying in other Quality hotels in future. Stay here if you need to do some shopping and need to leave your dog in the room for a while. It's also a good base if you drive and make day-trips for example to Drottningholm. We stayed one night here and one night in central stockholm in another hotel (more expensive, and with exorbitant parking fees). Suits our travel plans to stay at different hotels. Our room faced parking and a portion of the flyover so no there's no privacy but hardly any cars seem to use that flyover, and we were only sleeping in that room and just draw the curtains so it's fine. However there's no air-con in the room, so you need to keep the windows open. Weather was cool when we were there but on hot days it might be a problem.

« Stayed one night, nothing special »

We stayed here for one night passing through on our way to Finland. We had diner and breakfast included and stayed in a standerd room. Our room was overlooking the road and parking place behind the hotel. Road is almost within touching distance but with the windows closed you don't hear much. The parking is free, you go through the gate with your room card, this is well taken care of. Check in was fast. Our diner was supposed to be a buffet, but we could have 3 course meal as well. We choose that and the chef prepared something nice for us. Main dish was nothing special but starter and dessert was really nice. Staff in the restaurant/ bar was extremely friendly! The gym is pretty good for a hotel like this and the sauna was nice too. Breakfast was ok. All in all not a bad stay but the hotel is just not one with a nice feel. It all feels a bit old, a bit without any kind of homely feel and in need of some paint and some love and care. No extra's in the room either like coffee / tea facilities. Staff is really friendly though. Therefor 3 stars, if not for the staff it would have been two.

« Clean rooms, good breakfast buffet and free parking. »

We stayed in 3 different types of rooms. The suite was great, except for lots of water leakage in the bathroom. The standard double room and single rooms were O.K. All rooms were very clean. We did not hear any noise from the other rooms or the traffic. The parking felt very safe and was free. The internet was free.
