« Peaceful and relaxed surroundings »

The resort does not have an imposing entrance and the entrance to it are paved on dirt road. However when we reached the premise, it was a quiet place, so very relaxing to see the pond filled with lillies and has a private pool to each chalet. There are about 16 chalets, each with a living room, bedroom, balcony towards the pond and toilet/shower. The interior of the chalet is big and they have mosquito net door on the balcony. Also the TV selection is very wide. We stayed in chalet 2B. No complaints in terms of cleanliness, quite acceptable except for the pool which could do with a little cleaning. They have good hot water from the shower. After a long day away at noisy Pub Street or going around Angkor ruins, it is good to be back in the chalet with a comfortable environment. It is a safe place, we have no worries coming back late but the premise is quite dark so one must get used to the grounds. The breakfast is very simple. In fact, if they do not have a lot of guests, they would not have a "spread out" buffet and will cook to order for individual guests. If you are particular about your breakfast, choose somewhere else. There is a resident tuk tuk driver who is very reliable and charges USD3 for each trip to/from Pub Street - hotel. From hotel to airport is USD4.

Beautiful resort and very accommodating staff! They made sure we were comfortable and even planned an impromptu traditional Khmer wedding ceremony for us. Apart from phone lines being down due to ongoing road construction, everything else was perfect!

« Perfect hotel in Siem Riep »

Having stayed in a lot of Best Western hotels before I decided to book one for the first part of our trip through Cambodia. Everything about this hotel was brilliant, from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. We were greeted at the airport by a driver who took us to the hotel, where we were welcomed by the staff with drinks. They checked us into the room straight away and carried our cases then we were showed around the hotel. For an extra $15 we hired the hotel tuk tuk driver (called Meng) who became our friend for the next 3 days (the duration of our stay). He took us round all the sight, including a 4.30am start to see sunrise at Angkor Wat, and also recommended places for us to eat. The places he took us gave us a real flavour of Cambodia and usually took us away from the tourist crowds. We of course tipped generously and also helped him improve his English skills - the reason he became a tuk tuk driver. Nothing was too much trouble for him - thank you Meng. As part of our rate we were also given breakfast which was fantastic and always freshly cooked. The waitress was very helpful, spoke very good English and gave us some good recommendations of nice temples that get you away from the tourist spots. Overall this hotel was perfect and I would recommend it for anyone visiting Siem Riep and the Angkor Wat area.

« Peace and quiet and a swimming pool! »

This resort has only 12 suites each with it's own terrace and small pool which was very clean as was the room. The price was right, especially with transportation provided by car from and to the airport, and to town at night. The setting is stunning with the large pond and lily pads. Breakfast was, for us, Western with eggs cooked to order and bacon sausage, ham, toast, hash browns, orange juice and coffee or tea. To say the staff was attentive would not be doing them justice. They took care of our every need even to the point of ordering food for us from town. There is a night guard who make the rounds throughout the night. Our flight did not leave until 11:30PM, so they let us keep the room until 9:00PM free of charge and drove us to the airport. Prior to our trip all our correspondence was by E-mail, the resort was prompt with their replies and true to their word, on prices and dates. If I could give a higher score than excellent I would! By the way the resort says they will pick you up with a Tuk Tuk, but actually it a nice sedan, with air conditioning.

« Great value and friendly staff »

Overall we had a great stay and for the price that we paid, I dont think we would get private pool anywhere else. Room was clean and the entire resort was peaceful and quiet. There are huge ants outside of our room but mysteriously not a single insect inside. We requested a to-go breakfast for a sunrise temple trip. The next morning, we stepped out to see security staff walking by with our breakfast all packed up and delivered to our driver with a smile. Minor things happened during our stay, such as wifi login wasnt working and reception staff couldnt figure it out on the first day. But I felt that the staff tried their best. Great experience and I wouldnt hesitate to stay there again next time.

« Lovely and peaceful hotel »

My friends and I stayed here for 2 nights we came from Vietnam and this was a refreshing stay to end our 1 week vacation because the place was just too lovely and peaceful, away from the noise of the city. If you want to be far from the noise of Siem Reap and want a relaxing sleep this is the best choice. The rooms were spacious and the bathroom was clean and every room has a mini pool. They provide unlimited drinking water as well. The staff were very helpful especially the manager Ms. Kris. The will provide you with service "tuktuk" going to the town so the hotel being far is not really a problem. If I'm going back to siem reap I would definitely stay again in this hotel and I would recommend it to my friends. ??????

    « Great services & accommodation »

Staff was attentive and made good arrangements. I didn't need to worry about my transportation, activity plans, meals, etc. I just asked the staff and all problems solved. The resort was neat and elegant. The breakfasts were delicious. I like the fried noodles especially. The drivers arranged by the resort were good too. Their English was good. Cold water was always available in the car after I visited the temples. There is just one thing that the resort need to improve. The tap water had a rusting smell.

« Beautiful accommodations with excellent service »

We loved staying here! We booked this hotel on air miles without much thought and we are so happy we did! Although our flight arrived late, and we didn't get to this small hotel until the middle of the night, we were greeted promply and shown full hospitality. It was a relief to see how beautiful the room was after our 26+ hours of travel. Over the next days were treated very well by the staff and we could fully enjoy the spacious rooms, on site massage, and private pool located on our deck overlooking a lagoon. The trip into town is about 10 minutes by tuk tuk and only a short while longer to the front gates of Angkor Wat. I'd recommend using the same tuk tuk driver to get back later if possible (a driver we got at Angkor became hopelessly lost trying to find the hotel). The hotel arranged a driver for us our second day to take us to the sights of Angkor, and he (Mr. Pich) was excellent. If I should ever go back to Siem Reap for any reason, this will be my accommodation of choice.

    « I wish I could stay here longer »

I visited Siem Reap on 15 April 2016 and stayed at Best Western Suite & Sweet for 1 night. I arrived at around 11:30pm. The hotel was amazing. It is located in quiet & relaxed area but very easy to find. The suite is spacious, and it has its own private pool. The receptionist who checked me in was very helpful, she helped me a lot. She gave me a lot of useful information about Cambodia and destinations that I would visit. She even asked her friend (who has motorcycle) to buy me the ticket to Angkor Wat and drop me at the temple entrance. I definitely had a great stay. I wish I could stay longer.

« Hotel away from the noisy downtown »

Hotel is located 10mins outside of the city. Very quiet, great staff, rooms. This is my second stay in the last 12 months. Large rooms each with a plunge pool. Would stay here anytime I'm in Siem Reap.

« Quite place, great staff! »

10 minutes by tuktuk from Siem Reap, so not in the middle of the downtown action. Get a GPS map and guide the drivers. Not many will know exactly where it is. In return you will get a quiet place with beautiful natural setting.

    « A great break »

Everyone in our party thought that the setting of the bungalows laid around the lagoon was really tranquil. The private splash pools are a real bonus. The rooms are well apponted but could do with a ceiling facn above the bed. The staff are really friendly and helpful. They have a local tuk tuk driver that they can call on for guests and he is a gem. The hotel is under 10 minutes from the centre of town. We all loved the local coffee that we had at breakfast. The hotel is also only a short fide from the airport. We all rated the whole holiday A1.

« Oasis in Siem Reap »

Lovely relaxing place to stay at with helpful attentive staff. Enjoyable breakfast. Great to relax in your own private pool after a hot day of exploring Siem Reap and surrounding areas. A free tuk-tuk service is provided each night to and from town and they can arrange a tuk-tuk driver for you. We hired one for $17US per day, and the driver was brilliant.

« Nice hotel , far from the city »

We stayed there for 5 nights, the rooms are extremely spacious and the ambiance is good. For those who love peace and quiet, this is a great place. There is a small hotel staff, and the front desk person Sokea , was extremely helpful throughout the stay. The tuk tuk driver was also very friendly, and the hotel arranges for free shuttle by tuk tuk between 6 PM to 10 PM. Cons - Far from the shopping area and the city center. Limited breakfast fare especially for vegetarians. Non breakfast meals if any have to be pre-informed, which is not the most convenient, particularly given the distance between the hotel and the city center.

« Kindest staff that I've ever met »

Nice and quiet location. Considerably nice facility. But the best of all was the staff. I travel a lot but have never met such kind hotel staff before. All of them are really "willing" to help you out in every little detail.

« probably the best value for money you can get! »

This is truly a fantastic place to stay of you want a quiet, comfortable stay in this city. The rooms are large and well appointed with air conditioning and all the usual mood cons. Each room has a small private swimming pool and decking overlooking a small lake. Breakfast and dinner available and the town is a ten minute journey away by tuktuk provided. The temples are within easy reach and the staff are friendly and helpful. This is a perfect spot for a quiet time.

    « Relaxing! »

This place is beautiful! Duplex villa with your own swimming pool to cool off after a long day visiting temples under the hot sun. Heaven! What makes this place special is the staff. Everyone, from the manager Kris, the front desk person/waitress Sokea, the super friendly (and cute) young tuk tuk driver, to the resourceful cook, was so friendly and helpful. They made our stay memorable. So, the location. Yes it's a bit far, but the front desk arranged tuk tuk quickly and it only costed $3 to Pub Street area. After 6pm tuk tuk is complementary. There's a small store near the hotel. We got 2 beer and a bunch of junk food for just $2. The owner is super friendly too. We had dinner at the onsite restaurants a couple of nights. The food was delicious and the price was reasonable. Note that guests need to make a reservation in the afternoon since the restaurant is open by reservation only. There weren't that many guests so we understood why they did that. We were also too late in requesting our to-go breakfast boxes as the cook was off already. So make sure you request that early in the afternoon, or better, during check in. All in all, I'm very pleased with my stay. I highly recommend this place.

« A quiet resort away from the city »

A nice place to relax if you're looking for a quiet and serene place to stay. It's located 10 minutes from the Siem Reap airport. Free airport pick up provided by the resort and free tuk-tuk to town area a.k.a Pub Street or nearby from 6.30pm onwards daily. Breakfast is made to order from the selection menu and they have set lunch at USD10 nett. Private pool is great for dipping especially after coming back from touring the temples in the afternoon. The staff are always happy to assist if you need anything or have any questions. It can be rather quiet and the walkway from lobby to room is quite dark especially after 6pm.

Clean, well maintained, excellent service with friendly staff who were always helpful. A bit out of town but they arrange transport for you so not an issue. Nice and quiet location. Rooms are spacious and well appointed.

« Serenity away from the City »

The hotel is located away from the city. Nested inside the main road. Free tuk tuk is available to/fm the city (abt 10-15 mins) as well as free airport transfer. Hotel bed is comfortable and wifi is good. The staffs are readily available and provide excellent service. Breakfast was good too. Would recommend this place for those who wish to stay away from the city and enjoy quietness and serenity.

    « Feels like Home »

nestled inside from the main road, it was a very peaceful & pleasant stay for our 5 Days 4 nights. the resort is merely 15 minutes away from the international airport and 10 minutes from the night market/pub street. the resort is a cosy small-scale one hence most of our requests were handled by this exceptionally polite lady named Sokea. whenever we went breakfast, dinner, massage or some walk-in enquiries, she was there for us. we had liaised with Kris for our tours arrangement and we were delighted that it all went smoothly. Youk Kim, our tour guide arranged by the hotel, was knowledgeable and friendly. He explained history in great details for every section of the temples we had covered. probably the one thing they could improve is the lack of maintenance for the lotus pond and the plants around. not much issues with mosquitoes as we had bugs repellents on us. overall, we really had a wonderful time staying with Best Western. amiable staffs, tranquil environment and welcoming stay that feels like home. thank you for the sweet surprise!

« COULD BE NICE BUT UNSUFFICIENT MAINTENANCE »

The private pool is great. Very quiet place; server very nice and attentionate. Only negative aspect: poor maintenance; especially of the garden. Was it because the owner was absent during our stay ? Typical of those places which need some constant efforts to be very nice.

« Exceptional! Go for it! »

I just love this resort. You got your own private pool for such i must say 'cheap' rate is just unbelievable! In Bali or Vietnam it cost you at least $US350/night. it such a HUGE room, very clean, i love the amenities and all, the freshness of the room, smell like paradise! the location might be quite far from town but they do provide a FREE tuk-tuk for us, don't worry it's safe, they even will wait for you if you're late. not a problem. very very quiet resort, all you can hear is just nature, i love it!i don't need to use my traveling earplugs for the 1st time! very peaceful. the breakfast could be the same everyday but you can order something different they will surely cook for you. me and my family really enjoyed our stay at this resort. The staffs are amazing, the owner very welcoming, friendly, you guys are the best. Me and my family won't forget this place,it such a memorable experience! Thank you for having us!

« Best Western Siem Reap »

Hotel not located where represented on maps. Located down a dirt road with poor access. Swimming pool is filthy and full of mosquitoes. Three women on holiday did not feel safe or secure at this hotel. Security let scam artist come direct to room door. Food was OK, but just OK - poor choices. We can't believe Best Western allows their name on this property. We'll NEVER go back.
