    « Great spot »

We stayed a night in the newish apartments which were great. Little kitchenette and lovely bathroom, comfortable bed. It's a great spot - walk across the road to a great spot by the river, where you will see rabbits and kookaburras, and lots of beautiful trees.

A stopover on the way to Melbourne. We stayed in one of the new apartments. Very comfortable king size bed, spacious room and friendly staff. A pool and barbecue area. Definitely recommend this Motel for a short or long stay.

« Made to feel welcome! »

The purpose of our visit was to check out accommodation for a group travelling for a reunion. Bill was friendly & helpful &showed us through many of the rooms on offer. We then decided to stay the night in one of the new apartments at the rear of the property. Well designed & it had all the comforts we required. The bed was so comfortable! New Crossing Place therefore is highly recommended & we didn't hesitate in choosing it as our accommodation for the 2017 reunion. The property backs onto the VVCW.

« New Crossing Place Motel. Seymour »

FANTASTIC ! Home away from home. We only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer. But we will be back again. Loved it! King size bed in separate bedroom with air con and TV. Wonderful modern bathroom with fluffy white towels. Separate living area including large screen TV. Kitchenette with all mod cons and large fridge. And quiet! Staff and management, efficient and very friendly. What more can you want.

    « On the money..... »

I was not expecting anything like what I saw when I opened the door. The room was fabulous bathroom superb and spotlessly clean. All the things about this place we're spot on a massive well done to the people who manage and operate this hotel.

    « Fantastic Accommodation »

We stayed on Friday night on the way to Melbourne. We were so impressed we stayed again on Sunday night on the way home. We stayed in a different room both nights. There is not one thing to improve. The staff are lovely, the rooms are clean, breakfast is highly recommended. Not far off the Hume Highway, a home away from home. The bathroom is awesome. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ALL.

    « It's even better now »

Well I've stayed at this hotel before and found it to be the best in Seymour , but now with the new 1 bedroom units down the back it's even better , we stayed 3 nights for racing and found to my amazement it's even better ,big rooms fantastic bathrooms great water pressure and a bed I wanted to take home , by far the newest and best hotel I've ever stayed in ( huge statement as I've stayed in a lot of hotels ) excuse the unmade beds in the photos 5star all the way ??

« Great place to stay, newly renovated and a pleasant surprise. »

I stayed here for work reasons, and a colleague had told me not to expect much in Seymour (he previously lived there most of his life). When I arrived the service was great, the room was well renovated and comfortable and it was a great place to stay. Close to most things. I will definitely stay there again in future.

    « "Wow what a surprise" »

What a surprise when we entered the room. Very clean and modern , and what a bathroom area , the best we had seen in our 4 weeks in Australia. The staff were very helpful, breakfast arrived to the room as requested. What more could you ask for , Excellent service. Would certainly stay again . Thankyou.

« Clean with great service »

This motel is close to everything in Seymour and is very clean and modern with free wifi. The staff were friendly and helpful. The shower was great and the bed comfortable. Room service was conducted daily and mini bar options available. Parking outside the room is available and there is no road noise. A very enjoyable stay.

« WOULD TOP ANY BIG CITY ACCOMMADATION »

This motel is a bit of a surprise package for a small country town. The modern room and bathroom would top any big city motel. We arrived late in the evening on a cold winters night to find our heater on which was just lovely. The motel has easy parking, no outside noise and is modern and clean with a fully stocked mini bar complete with complimentary fruit. (Have never been offered this in the big city motels) I highly recommend this place is needing a bed in Seymour.

    « Gorgeous Apartments!! »

Stayed a cold winters night in these gorgeous newly built apartments and they were a really comfortable experience [after I worked out the Daiken A/c which someone prior had set to cool 30 deg instead of a heating 30 deg - Ggrrr]. Totally impressed my #20 ticked all the boxes, certainly not a cheap option but you pay for what you get and this was very, very worthwhile. Booking in was a breeze with a lovely smiling and helpful lady behind the jump - Thank You !!

    « Quiet and clean »

We had a one night stay in a 2 bedroom apartment. Reception was cheery and helpful, recommending dinner options for us. The bathroom was roomy and spotless, as were the bedrooms. We slept soundly and the premises was very quiet even though at capacity. The lounge area had two comfy sofas and an additional TV in the master bedroom. We ordered breakfast which was hot and huge servings. Overall we would highly recommend and stay again.

    « Good, Solid accommodation. »

Good accommodation and I would stay again, in Room 3. There is a new section with more modern looking rooms that look OK from outside. Plenty of room to park and the staff were nice. The bed was very comfortable.

    « Week end away »

We booked this place as it was convenient for the trip we were making needed a later book in and they were open latter than others. The rooms were good quality and probably one of the best bathrooms I've seen in a a small country town. The shower was nearly as good as home.

« Massive renovations at the back of the property »

I am a frequent traveller and constantly look at Trip advisor for opinions before booking accomodation. Whilst this property had fantastic reviews no one mentioned the huge renovations that are taking place at the back of the property. Whist the room was clean and pleasant being woken on a public holiday with an angle grinder at 7.30am was def not what I was expecting. So please beware as I would hate to think what hour the workmen would start on a normal working day. If you are an early bird book away but it was very disappointing for us. This should be really outlined on a company website that there are renovations near by and there could be an element of noise

    « Pleasant 2 night stay »

Reception we're welcoming. Room was well appointed and Mini bar well stocked. Great air conditioning as it was 37 degrees outside. Comfortable bed, fabulous linen. Would have loved to go for a swim in the evening, however the pool closed at 8.00pm. Tried to connect to the free wi fi and after reading the small print in the motels information book found that the Internet was not free at all. Bath room very modern, lots of bench space, large shower with wonderful shower head ! The only negative I found was that the shower needed to have its grout bleached and scrubbed as there was that yucky red growth beginning and at the bottom of the shower where the glass meets the base there was black mould ...... Not nice.

    « Pleasantly surprised »

Booked as stopover from Sydney to Melbourne and expectations exceeded. recent remodelling has resulted in good looking well equipped rooms. Warm welcome from front desk and recommendation to Old Post Office for dinner proved to be a good one.

    « Pleasant surprise »

We were expecting an ordinary country motel and were pleasantly surprised to find this gem. The rooms have been refurbished and rival many city 4.5 star hotels for comfort and appointments. The bathroom deserves a special mention - large and modern, spotless and a wonderful shower. The air conditioning was very effective. Our host on reception was very welcoming and gave us good suggestions for dinner and breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

    « Business Overnight »

Cheery welcome at front of house after phone booking earlier, hassle free and welcome reception, visit was marred by Telstra's typical bungling, Telstra decided to %~~#}** things up and again burn small business owners, so there was no coverage and their WiFi was inoperative anyway. Room was welcome after a huge & hot day working/travelling, lovely and modern, clean and comfy, brekkie in the morning was cheerfully delivered AND my papers were delivered before with a great smile and comment 'thought you'd like to read these whilst brekkie is cooking' - awesome and rather special... They're building additional units at the back so next visit will be exciting, only downside (and it's just the way it's built) is there are 1 or 2 steps needed to access all rooms and reception, otherwise all was great...

    « Working Away »

I work away a lot, that requires me to stay in a lot of motels. The staff here can not do enough for you and the rooms are spot on. I arived on some very hot days and the staff already hade the A/C on in my room. The showers in the room big and have plenty of very good flow, Each room has a large flat screen as well as fruit and snaks, toaster and microwave. I normally dont take the time to do reviews but this motel is worth it. I travel with a work trailer and that is no problem here. Thanks Trav.

    « High quality motel. »

Modern, clean well run motel. Wasn't expecting much from a country motel, but this would have to be one of the best I've stayed at. The standard Queen room we stayed in was very modern, of reasonable size and had a 5 star hotel quality bathroom. Overall very impressive and clearly punching well above its weight.

« Many amenities but very thin walls »

Stayed with my wife for 5 nights. BBQ, pool, free, unlimited Wifi, and fridge in room. The hotel was also 1km walk from the train station which we took down to Melbourne one day. The only comment to note is that the cleaning crew were really loud in the mornings. They started at 8am and there at times loud laughing, loud banging, and even some yelling. It woke us up consistently every morning. Not a bad place. A bit expensive considering the lack of consideration by the staff but it's not a bad place to stay.

« Right place at the right time »

Me and the wife were doing a Brisbane to Victoria trip for the Dec/Jan holidays and on our way back up, our car broke down (fan clutch started to throw metal shrapnel). Thankfully we had RACQ and they hooked us up with accommodations at the Best Western in Seymour Victoria for 5 nights. Bill (from the Best Western) gave me a call to confirm the booking and was kind enough take time out during his Christmas Day to set us up in the room. Mind you that we only in Australia temporarily for my wife's PhD and have no family here - and for my wife (especially), this is a very big deal. So I plan our holidays (the time she normally spends with lots and lots of family and friends) so she's a bit distracted. We go camping and exploring and it seems to fill the gap for her. But this Christmas, the interruption to our trip nearly broke her. Long story short... Bill was most likely just 'doing his job', but to us, it was a Godsend. Thank you Bill. You allowed us to make a bad situation good due to your work ethics.

    « Breakfast Strickly 7am to 8.30 am - Didn't Happen! »

If you are going to put this in on your room cards don't you think you should live up to it. We paid for breakfast and in the end we left at 7.30 because the kitchen wasn't open. High end fittings, I don't think so, I thought the place was a bit shabby.

« Classic country motel with city hotel bathroom! »

This motel is well situated on the main town road, in good drive or walk proximity to all Seymour. The highlight is the bathroom..I had room 12....it was marvellous. Unexpected in a motel with top-end fittings & fixtures & great shower. A great surprise as sometimes motel bathrooms are either shabby, very basic or just plain ordinary. Not this one! The room was otherwise good..comfy with all the necessary bits & pieces. Helpful staff, high standards of cleanliness etc. Happy to recommend.

    « A pleasant enough stay »

The pros: A pleasant, very clean room and bathroom. Microwave Electric blankets Reasonably priced Bubbly, helpful staff The cons: Thinnish walls - we easily heard coughing and next door's shower running No dishwashing liquid to wash provided crockery & cutlery - made us wonder if they are just rinsed and returned?

    « A good country motel »

Seymour is an Army town and the townscape has various tanks, a Huey helicopter and a remarkable wall in memory of the Vietnam War, Beyond that it has a fine Railway Station and not a great deal else. Our Best Western Motel was very comfortable and quiet. The bed was most comfortable and bathroom was newly renovated but would have been improved with underfloor heating. The shower was particularly good. The motel surrounds were not impressive but this is a perfectly adequate motel for a stop on a road trip.

« Our choice for stopover »

Our favourite place to stopover night when traveling to Melbourne or Geelong. After a long drive down the Hume, this is a fantastic place to spend the night rather than trying to tackle Melbourne at night. The room is modern and always clean for us. The shower is awesome with a huge shower head. A nice touch. The manager is really freindly and accommodating. We always use to drive straight past Seymour, but one day decided to check it out. Worth the stay.

    « Beautifully renovated »

Recently stayed in a spa suite, very delighted with the renovations to the kitchen area and bathroom. Now offering a full kitchenette suitable for 2 people. The new bathroom with a larger spa. Great country town to visit.

    « Pleasantly Surprised »

I stayed here for one night for work. The rooms have been modernised and are very pleasant. The shower is huge with a huge shower head which I loved. The mini bar is excellent and the breakfast was excellent too. The manager is very helpful and pleasant. All in all pleasantly pleasant.
