    « Great Place!! »

The hotel is centrally located, has a travel centre in the reception area and also a currency exchange shop. We made use of both unfortunately staff in both facilities did not speak English or have much of an understanding on English. Breakfasts were great, vegetables for breakfast was a little unusual but over all there was a very good selection. It was great sitting out on the restaurant balcony over looking the bay eating a leisurely breakfast. The hotel also has 3 other restaurants attached to it in addition to their own hotel restaurant. My wife and I used the Italian every night, very nice. They did have an English menu which helped with selection of meals. We also used their coffee shop, coffee was great and so were the cakes!! Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sevastopol.

« 3 star hotel in the city centre »

A good hotel right in the heart of Sevastopol. Spa services in the hotel are excellent!!! Affordable for what you get. Service is good, but not the top- exactly what you pay for your 3 stars. Rooms are clean, can be a bit noisy though in summer time.

« In Russian Crimea everything is OK »

I am admire of hospitality from BEST WESTERN Sevastopol Hotel, Sevastopol, RUSSIA. The weather was fine. Fresh fried fish was excellent. Also red wine from Crimea can be compare with wines from Old Europe. Sevastopol is the city of all Russian history events. All of yoy must to be in this city, to look at the harbours, to feel the smell of the Black Sea

« Best Hotel in the Russian town of Sevastopol »

If you choose to visit the Russian Crimea and stay in Sevastopol, you have to stay at the Best Western. Absolutely western / european 4-star place. The location is just PERFECT - right at the Artillery Bay. You step out of the hotel, and you are in the middle of everything - promenade, bay, Nakhimov Prospekt, park, museums. Spacious room, good bathroom. All amenities you need, bathroom amenities, robes, even shoe polish. Two different AC's in the room, two new flatscreen TV's and minibar. Fast WiFi, free of course. We arrived very late, at 01:00 at night, staff was very polite, friendly and helpful during check-in and during all our stay, including porter service. Only minus - you can not pay with western credit cards, means, you need a full pre-paiment in cash. This if of course not the hotel's fault and maybe it will change soon (this review is from September 2015). Breakfast is amazing, a terrace with sea view like in Nice or Monaco. Big buffet with plenty of choice, including hot dishes, egg dishes, fresh juices, fruits...! A funny anecdote: Once in the morning there was christmas music for breakfast...santa clayse is coming to town...in September...to Sevastopol...was pretty fun! Built-in restaurants like well-known Il Patio, Shokoladniza Cafe and a Sushi place. Extra hint: The currency exchange inside the hotel lobby had by far the best rate in town, what is very seldom for a hotel in Russia. Can only recommend this hotel to everybody, for business or leisure.

great hotel with English speaking staff and good facilities (no pool) the location is brilliant and makes walking to the attractions in Sevastopol very easy. The restaurant menu is also very good, but a little pricey

« Hotel is IN RUSSIA, NOT Ukraine...PERIOD. »

I have now stayed at this hotel twice over the last 2 years (since the Crimea chose to reunite with Russia), and overall, concur with the comments from others re: location - simply can't beat, and wonderful breakfast buffet with balcony overlooking the bay. I was, however, not amused at several rather large bugs that seemed to think when I got a room for 2, they were included, and also, by the fact the hotel could not accept Western credit cards. I understand the latter is due to sanctions, BUT I had tried contacting Best Western to determine this weeks in advance, and all I got was 'call your CC company". I did, and they said, WAY WRONG, all is good. All was NOT good. They could not even accept my RUSSIAN bank debit cards (I happen to have several). I was lucky enough to have some rubles and US cash $ on hand. This latter "complaint" has as much to do with silly US sanctions and totally wrong and dangerously misleading info. Last but not least, more re: Trip Advisor placing this under "Ukraine"...I guess one can toe the official US parry line of how Russia "seized" this, but as a tourist Web site, and one used INTERNATIONALLY, but also one that should be dedicated to helping folks get their travel questions addressed, continuing to call this the Ukraine will not serve ANYONE well. You can only get here by going thru Russia, and, when there, you ARE in fact subject to Russian laws, etc. Note the hotel staff was wonderful!

    « Best Hotel »

I stayed here on a business trip in 2014. The hotel is vintage but the facilities are wonderfull and meet the standard expected. We forego our option of a 5 star hotel on the city outskirts and instead choose this hotel primarily for its location in city centre. We were not disappointed. The location is perfect for everything... tourist attractions...night life...jus name it. The hotel staff was very accomodating and smiling making us feel welcomed. Great rooms and great breakfast menu to begin a day. Thank you for making it a pleasant stay.

The food was excellent quality by any standard. The terrace where breakfast is served overlooking the see is wonderful. This is probably the best option for Sevastopol. Located right downtown near to all the activities. Thanks for the great time.
