    « Awesome »

Great hotel - We were impressed with the staff, provided breakfast and amenities. We were there during the busy Thanksgiving holiday week. The rooms were very quite and well maintained. The provided breakfast exceeded our expectations. The hotel is perfectly located. Easy access to restaurants, shops, and attractions. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in sedona

    « Sedona Vacation »

We stayed at the Best Western Plus for 3 nights. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good. The location was perfect as you could walk to shops and restaurants. This hotel is pet friendly.

    « Great property! »

Setting and location of the property are great-spectacular red rock views from our room, a short walk down to the creek, and Sedona central is at your doorstep, with dining and shops abundant. The front desk staff was always friendly and helpful as was the breakfast staff that provided a delicious morning buffet. There is one at the clubhouse but add a hot tub to the upper hotel pool - now that would be perfection! We will be back.

    « Beautiful views »

Our room on the 4th floor had a balcony with awesome view of the red rock. Hotel staff were super friendly & the beds were comfortable. Nothing bad to say about this place at all. Good location uptown Sedona within walking distance to shops, rest. ect. They have an outdoor pool as well as an indoor pool but we had no time to use it. Full free breakfast included with room.

    « Comfortable and Clean »

We stayed in a North Signature room for 3 nights. The fireplace was the absolute best part of the room. The shower was pretty awesome too with three streams. I agree the room could use some updating but is still very good. Breakfast was also very good with different choices everyday and staff very friendly. We used the indoor pool and jacuzzi once . Both were clean and just a short drive or walk from our room. It is NOT inconvenient and pretty private. Also, the North signature rooms have a laundry facility right on the first floor. I found this very helpful when getting ready to leave for our next stop on our trip. I really liked being able to walk to everything on the main strip the location of this hotel is a big plus too.

    « Incredible adventure »

You will not be disappointed in your stay at this wonderful property. The staff, views, breakfasts, everything was just outstanding. The views from our room was incredible. And you must walk down to the creek and take in the relaxing view.

« Great Hotel, Great location. »

We had a wonderful visit to Sedona last week. Staying at Best Western Plus Arroyo Roble Hotel was fantastic. The location is within walking distance to lots of shops and hotels. The view was spectacular--right outside our room window! We were very satisfied with the hotel, view, staff and accommodations!

« In the heart of the center, family friendly »

Lovely hotel - in the heart of everything. Easy to walk to local shops and activities. Very family friendly activities available (pool, table games, walk by the creek). Staff was EXTREMELY wonderful - very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and comfy and very clean - location of room was not the best (room 310 - overlooks the street basically). Breakfast was generous but not very tasty (typical stuff - eggs, waffles, muffins). We could only eat it for one day and then opted to go into town and get some good stuff. Yes, we would stay here again... just ask for a better located spot.

    « Great Visit & Views »

We took our adult son with us. We originally had a King and pullout however we wanted him to have a bed so with the help of Mauro and Eric at the front desk, we were able to move after our 1st night - They also helped us get a favorable rate! Thanks to them - Breakfast was included and Gil and Donald made that experience nice - The We had a breathtaking view of the red rocks from our room. It was one of the best views of any hotel I have ever stayed in. As far as the rooms are concerned, it is your standard room, not that fancy but serviceable. We spend the days hiking and exploring so we were really only in the room to freshen up for dinner and sleep. There It was very clean and room service was perfect . The property is adjacent to a creek that runs along the boundary of the hotel Well worth a walk down to it - The pool was nice and they also had a gym/pool/sauna that was on the sister property that my wife and son took advantage of. Location is walking distance to some uptown shops. Overall the City of Sedona is not very large so you are close to all the sites, hiking trails and restaurants. It is only 2 hours to the Grand Canyon so take advantage and stop at Oak Creek Canyon on 89A on the way up. One last note if you live in a city please take advantage of the night sky - It is so clear at night - I have never seen so many stars in my life -

    « what a view »

Unfortunately we were on a bus tour so we only had one night here. All the rooms have a view to die for. Sedona is a beautiful town. Beds were comfortable. Driveway was little tricky for the bus driver but he did it. It is down a slope but I guess with no worries off ice and snow it is not a problem. Within walking distance are stores but again we didn't have time to shop. Breakfast was in a separate building and was good. If you go stay at least three nights to see and enjoy everything.

    « Exceeded our expectations »

I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked this hotel but I must say it was a very pleasant surprise. Traveling with a large family, we needed a 2 bed villa. The villa had 2.5 baths, 2 bedrooms, 2 balconies, a full kitchen, washer and dryer, private chairs overlooking the beautiful creek nestled by the beautiful red rocks. The jacuzzi in the master was amazing - probably the best I've seen in a hotel (including Four seasons and other high end hotels). There's a playground, lovely double swing, Rec building with indoor racquetball, outdoor tennis, indoor heated pool, indoor hot tub, sauna, steam room, table tennis, pool, etc. Breakfast was great. 1-2 hot egg entrees, biscuits/waffles, sausage, potatoes, etc. Convenient hours as well. Location is great if you want to check out downtown. The pink jeep tour picked us up at the hotel and we could walk to the cowboy club and other restaurants. There's a free parking lot just for guests at the top of the hill and also a larger free public lot next to it. We had a great time here and I almost wished we stayed longer. An excellent choice for families who need room and amenities for a long stay.

    « Wonderful Stay! »

This is a wonderful hotel with a super friendly staff who went out of their way to assure our comfort. They also helped guide us to wonderful hiking trails. Daily Breakfast was hot and fresh and featured an egg bake casserole each day which was a delicious option. Room Accommodations are clean and beds were super comfy. These were very welcoming since we went hiking every day! The view from our room was breathtaking and we were treated to beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We stayed in a first floor patio room. There is a beautiful creek behind the hotel and the grounds throughout the resort are well kept. There are additional touches throughout the resort that offer Red Rock views from different perspectives. All of them are breathtaking. The hotel is within walking distance to shops and restaurants. You can also walk to many of the touring jeep companies. I recommend taking a jeep tour. We did a winery/sunset tour with A Day in the West. At the end of a long day, we had looked forward to using the indoor pool, hot tub and sauna in the clubhouse but ultimately didn't have time. Too much time spent lingering over dinner! We stopped in at the clubhouse and facilities were very nice. We loved our stay in Sedona and can't wait to return. We will definitely stay here again.

    « A peaceful haven »

The Arroyo Roble is one of the tallest buildings in Sedona (grandfathered in) and has some amazing views of the rich, red rocks-highlighted by sun or moonrise. A November visit might find the town busy and bustling, the trails thick with hikers, but the hotel and villas are more a peaceful oasis. Staff is friendly and helpful and courteous. Breakfast is tasty and filling-there are lots of options. Rooms in the villa are very large-tall ceilings, fully furnished, attractive, yet homey decor. We had a fully functioning kitchen, a patio by the creek, gas fireplace and lots of seating to make our friend retreat enjoyable and relaxing. I haven't been to Sedona in years, but if I get so lucky as to visit again, I would definitely stay here.

Very clean. Wonderful, attentive service. Excellent continental breakfast. Gorgeous view. Right in the middle of everything that we wanted to do in and around Sedona. Hotel is in Uptown Sedona, lots of shopping and art galleries nearby within walking distance.

    « Lovely »

Nice room, clean , great breakfast , wonderful access to indoor pool/sauna/steam room/ping-pong/pool table. We loved this stay! Walked around town and had great access to restaurants and shops. Enjoyed Halloween celebration on streets. Would stay again.

« We had stayed at the Best Western Plus last time and I thought that this time we would stay here. »

I was very disappointed. We were given the handicapped room, but not told this until we entered the room. When we phoned down and asked for a room on the other side of the hall, where there actually was a marvellous view, not just the street, we were told that yes we could for $30. more a night. We said no thanks we are already paying enough. I had booked this Best Western because it had a pool. The "heated" pool was very cold and the other pool, which was a fair walk away was very cold as well. It also was cold walking back to your room wet. We had stayed at the Best Western Plus last time. all the rooms had a beautiful balcony. As i like to get up before everyone else it was wonderful sitting on the deck, writing in my journal, having my coffee for the day but not this one. No balcony on this side. So i just had to be quiet till they got up. The room was clean, but they weren't very nice when we called down to change our room. We did not get to see the beautiful sunsets or the morning sun coming up. I was very disappointed and will not stay here again. I much preferred the other Best Western.

« Great Location and great views in Sedona »

We loved this little gem on the main drag in Sedona. Walk to galleries, dining and tours. Very comfortable and roomy with balcony and view of the red Rocks. We especially enjoyed the Red rocks tour with Pink Jeep Tours and the beautiful Chapel of the Holy Spirit built into the rocks.

    5
    « Relaxation »

I had the privilege of staying in this hotel the first one after 3 years of medical problems and off work. How friendly the entire staff was the breakfast was wonderful, one of the mornings they served eggs Florentine the rooms have balconies with an out of this world view, what a nice first trip back to work, and thanks to the entire staff. I hope I get to come back.

    « Surpassed expectations! »

We stayed here four nights late October - my family (two adults plus 4 yo and 6 yo) stayed in a villa down by the creek. Grandma and grandpa stayed in a room. We were very happy with our experience! Positives: 1. The villa was extremely spacious and very nice. Basically a two bed room condo that's part of a time share resort. Full self catering, spacious with kitchen and living area - and a big back yard on the creek. 2. The resort has a fantastic indoor outdoor pool setup - including two hot tubs. (There's actually another pool attached to the hotel which has a great view) 3. Breakfast was solid - not amazing (= no made to order stuff) but eggs sausage fruit cereal coffee waffles etc 4. Great location walking distance downtown The only negative as others have remarked is the walk up he hill from the villa to breakfast but you can't have it all!!

« Perfect location, great view, overcomes few shortcomings »

We could have stayed much longer! Our rooms faced the gorgeous Sedona mountains. Seeing them from our room from sunup to sunset was just so remarkable. The pool area was very nice and made for a great place to gather and relax as we closed out our days. The hotel is located right in the old town area so that the shops and restaurants are a pleasant stroll down the street. Our family really enjoyed the excellent buffet breakfast. Our room was clean and just a little dated, but ample sized and reasonably well-appointed.

    « Granddaughters spring break »

Me and my husband have always loved This place and only stay here when we Go to Sedona! It's beautiful facing the Red rock, nice rooms, 2 pools and a juccusi This time the indoor/outdoor pool needed To be cleaner, a lot of leaves etc to be Taken out, also when we were making trips to bring our stuff to the room, going down the stairs by the pool, there are stairs then a landing and more stairs and a huge landing to the parking lot which has one more curb step to the tar road, be careful, I fell and broke a bone in my foot under my Ankle, I told someone at the front desk and all they said was that sucks! I hope Best Western takes this seriously and change that back curb into a wheel chair type gradual landing slowly going into the back tar parking lot, wonder how many people have fell there from that curb? Ouch and am still in pain from it, would I stay there again? Yes, they have a very good breakfast and beautiful rooms but hope they do something about that curb??

    « Sedona Red Rocks »

This property is an excellent place to stay if you want to be in the heart of downtown tourist Sedona. A short walk to restaurants and shops, plenty of free parking, excellent view of the Eastern red rocks, and a great hot breakfast with a good variety of offerings. The front desk staff is more than accommodating for any request. Coffee and tea are available in the lobby at all hours. The housekeeping staff is cordial and will work around your schedule if y9ou want a later cleaning or to skip service on a given day. Town noise doesn't filter down to this property. Would stay here again.

    « best western »

Our stay at this hotel was excellent. What made the stay even better was the desk clerk Jonielle. She was very friendly and gave us info on locations to visit that were only known to locals which made our visit very rewarding.

« Perfect location and with a view! »

We traveled to Sedona in Oct 2016 for our first visit to the area. The Best Western Plus is the perfect location. We were able to walk to the Pink Jeep tour, many shops and restaurants. The parking was easy and the view from our room was spectacular. We stayed in one of the suite rooms so I can't comment on the hotel rooms. Our room was extremely comfortable and the bath was completely updated with a very luxurious shower! The hotel provides a very nice daily breakfast which includes hot oatmeal, eggs, waffles, toast, fruit, yogurts, bacon, sausage. The location of the hotel is at the end of the tourist section of Sedona so it is a quiet spot. We highly recommend this hotel and location!

« Great stay in Sedona »

Beautiful hotel with very nice amenities due to access to the club house. Liked that we were within walking distance of the stores and restaurants downtown. The view from the back of the hotel and pool is amazing. Hotel staff very attentive. Breakfast was delicious

« Never wanted to leave! »

Best Western Plus Arroyo Roble Hotel and Creekside Villas truly helped make our stay in Sedona a very memorable one. Our room had a lovely fireplace and a private balcony that looked out on the magnificent Red Rocks. Our room was comfortable and spacious, big closets and even a safe if needed. The King bed was so very comfortable and the bathroom was quite nice. The Front Desk Staff were all so kind and helpful and the Housekeeping staff deserves an extra "thank you", too. Great location, we were able to walk to all the shops and restaurants. The Tour Trolleys were also just a 5 minute walk away. We really didn't need our car unless we wanted to go outside of Sedona to sight see on our own. All in all a great choice, highly recommend!

    « We Can't Wait to Return! »

Kudos to this wonderful staff! We had an amazing stay at the Arroyo Roble Hotel and would highly recommendl! From arrival to departure, every single employee we encountered greeted us with a smile and an offer of assistance! Since this was our first trip to Sedona, we solicited recommendations and suggestions for activities and restaurants all of which were excellent! All staff members seemed genuinely pleased to have us stay at their hotel and took ownership of their area! The breakfast buffet was outstanding and the breakfast attendant was excellent in his position! The housekeeping team has done a great job of presenting an exceptionally clean hotel and welcomes their guests with a smile!! Great job! In addition to the outstanding service and accommodations, the view from our hotel room was incredible!!! We look forward to returning to this beautiful hotel when we visit Sedona in the future!

    « Best Location »

Great choice if you want to walk to shops, restaurants, Pink Jeep tour pickup, trolley tour pick up. We weren't looking for a full service resort because we were out each day taking tours, hiking, and horseback riding, so this was perfect. Pool is good for taking a dip, but there are no umbrellas or shady areas. Tennis court needs repairs; we rented rackets and balls. The balls were all flat, so bring your own.

    5

The desk clerk check in was excellent. she provide us all the information we need. Only one minor suggestion may need to change telephone. The one you have looks out dated. The location and view for the hotel id good.

    « Getaway »

Relaxing and family friendly place to visit. A great place to sit on the balcony and enjoy the views. The staff is very accommodating. There are trails nearby for peaceful hikes. The morning buffet was great.

« Sesona, Arizona, Best Western »

This Best Western (Secona Az() is the best hotel I have stayed in for quite some time. I spent over 50 days in a Best Western in late 2015 while my home was remodeled. The Sedona Az Best Western was absolutely great. The staff were the friendliest I have ever encountered at a hotel. The only drawback, the price. The location was in the downtown area, very quiet, the view of the mountains was amazing.

    5
    « Sedona Stay »

The BW Creekside Villas were wonderful. We received a villa right on the stream. There was two couples sharing the villa, which was right on the stream, and there was more then enough room. This hotel is within walking distance to the town. However, if you are in the lower part of the villas the hike up to town or breakfast is a bit of a up hill hike. The breakfast was great.

    5
    « Wonderful »

We recently spent a week at the Creekside Villas. Checking in and out was a breeze. The creek is a real bonus. We had stayed at another location in Sedona without the creek before. Very peaceful setting with grille's, chairs and a swing. Part of our routine was sitting creek side before going over to the hot tub. The bedrooms are upstairs. By opening a downstairs patio door and the same upstairs a good draft is created which cools the unit. One of our bedrooms had a balcony with views of some rocks, which made for good sunset viewing. If you look closely you can see Snoopy and Lucy. Very quiet.

    3
    « Overpriced »

Overpriced small rooms for the price. Very noisy rooms, not enough insulation to keep you from hearing the toilets being flushed next door. Excellent breakfast Crazy parking accommodations We had a great view of the mountains but for the price...it could have been a more spacious, upscale room

    3
« Great location in uptown Sedona. »

We stayed in a 2-bedroom villa. While spacious and in a nice location on the property by a creek, the inside was very dark and had a very old 1970s look to it. The bathrooms were beautifully renovated and very contemporary in style, which made the rest of the villa seem pretty dated. Given the very high rate we paid for the villa, we expected something nicer for the money. The breakfast was very good, though, and the location allowed us to walk to lots of shops, restaurants and bars in uptown Sedona. Decent place to stay in a great location, but it seemed very expensive for what we got in terms of the actual accommodations.

    5
« Beautiful location on Oak Creek »

Have stayed at this hotel twice, Great location. Villa was right on Oak Creek. Very quiet. Also convenient to all shops and restaurants. Not good for people with physical limitations due to stairs and no safety features in bathroom. Staff very polite and helpful.

    2
« Best Western Plus Arroyo Roble Hotel »

Unbelievably expensive place for an average hotel. Probably due to the fact that the hotel is in the middle of the tourist district. Look for a place in one of the suburbs (about 5 or 10 minutes out of town). Hotel owners probably do not feel a need to excel and just charge as much as the market will bear. Hotel furnishings were very average.

    5
    « Ultimate experience »

Every room at this hotel is perfectly positioned to view the red rocks. Exquisite viewing all day long from the pool and anywhere within the hotel grounds. Staff were extremely helpful with all requests and needs, and we particularly appreciated the organisation and bookings of tours, shuttles and any transportation required. Staff (front desk and cleaning and maintenance) were super friendly and made us feel very welcomed (especially Eric, Nick and Jonielle). The rooms are of a high standard and maintained daily. The best beds we slept in! Thank you Lonnie (the GM) for the wifi! Big thanks to Donald (breakfast room).

    5
« Beautiful location in a beautiful town »

Have had a business in Sedona in the past and have recommended this hotel for stay and time shares to many people. They have never let me down! Staff is excellent, food always enjoyable, rooms clean. Location is awesome!

  • 4
    « Lovely view. »

This provided a lovely escape from the overcrowded honky tonk that Sedona has become. Clean and comfortable in every way. Staff all appeared to be friendly and accommodating. But be warned- the full breakfast that is advertised is yet another buffet.

    4
    « Atypical. Feels Superior »

The usual Best Western is basic. This hotel has a liitle more added charm. The breakfast is just okay. We skipped it after the first day. The staff are wonderful and the view is breath taking. It was quiet except for the sprinklers that go off morning and evening. We'd stay there again. Clean. A true three-star hotel with a five-star view.

    4
    « Nice Stay! »

This was our second stay and we were able to explore more. The view is great. The grounds are beautiful. Breakfast was decent. Better than last time. The location is good but can get heavy with traffic. It's on the far north side in the touristy area. Tons of little specialty shops and restaurants. The lounge chairs by the pool can be dangerous. My daughter while on it, leaned forward and reached behind to adjust the back. It slammed down with her wrists caught in the wrought iron. We thought she broke her wrists. She still has scars from last Spring break, so be careful. They really should do something about the lounge chairs. Otherwise it's very nice. The pool is nice. We would stay there again!

    2
« Poor view for price »

We stayed in room 411. $349/night. We were told town view instead of Red Rocks view. I thought - ok town view shouldn't be so bad and it was the last two queen bed room available. This room should not be sold as town view. It is a view of unfinished raw land and the hotel lobby's overhang awning. $50 more for a Red Rocks view. This room was severely overpriced. Sound of cars driving by was terrible. Size of room and bathroom was terrible.

    5
« The place to stay! »

I read reviews of all the uptown hotels and this one had the most excellent reviews. We had a north signature plus room. There are only two of these with three north signiture rooms above them. These are in a separate building but very lose to the main building. We had a great view of Snoppy and Lucy rocks. There's a good view from all the red rock facing rooms. I would definitely get one of those over the city view side. Our room had a wet bar separate toilet closet. Two bathroom sink areas. One inside where the large jaquizi tub and separate rain water shower are and one outside. I want that bathroom! There is a gas fireplace a cross from the couch. We used it at night because it got quite cool after the sun went down. There is a very good breakfast included in a separate building. Eggs, bacon, waffles, fruit, breads, muffins, etc. everyone was very friendly and the place was very clean. The hotel is at one end of the main drag of uptown. We didn't have a car and could walk to many restaurants and shops. The pink jeeps and the trolley are right next door. We didn't use the pools but the outdoor one by the main building looked very nice. If you have the time and can walk up and a hill, take a walk down to the creek.

« Lovely villa unit shared with friends. »

My husband and I traveled throughout the National Parks with friends and we had a pleasant treat by staying at a villa with two bedrooms, kitchen, large living room and dining area. Our friends insisted we stay in the master suite that boosted a large fireplace and the most amazing bath and rain message shower with multiple jets to massage your muscles after a long day of sight seeing. The living room also had a large fireplace with plenty of seating. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the villa in lieu of the normal hotel lodging. We were pleasantly surprised that BW offered such nice accommodations.

    5
« A great hotel within walking distance of shops of Sedona »

For our first trip to Sedona we wanted a hotel within walking distances of shops. We were not disappointed at all. Rooms very nice with a balcony, table and 2 chairs and a great red rock view (which you must request on booking). Even though our room was right by elevator we were not disturbed by noise or the ringing of the bell. Staff was very helpful. Best free breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. Plenty of options, staff was great! Staff helped lady with baby in arms get the food she wanted and they did it with a smile. Please be sure to leave a good tip for these hard working people.

« the cottage at sedona best western »

the amenities were great and the view from the front porch was spectacular, I was overjoyed at the quality of our stay and totally look forward to returning and staying in the same cottage, it did not feel anything like a hotel, it felt like staying at my rich uncles place while he was away

« Great location, clean and breakfast included! »

We chose this hotel because of it's location, right in uptown Sedona. The breakfast buffet and wi-fi were included in the very reasonable price (for a tourist destination, that is). I think our total was around $2200 for 7 nights. There is a clubhouse with indoor and outdoor pools, game room, library with piano, and a fitness room. There is another outside pool adjacent to the hotel. Unfortunately, we did not have a room with a balcony overlooking the red rocks. I highly recommend trying to get one of those rooms! EVERYONE was nice at this hotel--I learned it is family-owned--and that explained the genuine helpfulness of the staff, I think. Clean and spacious rooms and a hearty healthy breakfast were a daily occurrence.

« Sedona At Its Best »

Wonderful location - convenient - right in town, with views that make you feel you're miles from a town! Right near the creek, overall great staff and facilities! Could not have been a nicer place to stay, and so close to downtown, shopping, restaurants, and just walking along the creek!

Excellent service, room, view, atmosphere, hotel grounds w/ pool. Lots of shops and dining just a couple minutes walk. Feels like you are at a resort. Breakfasts were very enjoyable with all breakfast staff very attentive, courteous and really making you feel welcome. Was a pleasure to stay here; Will definitely come back. Hated to leave!

    « Breathtaking Sedona »

The view from our room was spectacular! We even selected take-out from a very popular local restaurant so we could eat on the balcony and enjoy the view. Hot tub availability with the arroyo roble resort was a plus.

« Some much more than a chain hotel! »

I stayed for two nights and wished I could have stayed longer. My room had a magnificent view of the fountain and red rocks. Everyone I encountered who worked there was friendly and genuinely happy. The bed was super comfy. Free breakfast was awesome, very abundant. The creek by the villas was nice to sit near and relax. In fact, everywhere was relaxing. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is the lack of privacy curtains. You can see through wispy drapes and although not too many people walked by, I was still uncomfortable.

    « very nice stay »

We had a room with a view of the pool and the mountain range. Breakfast is included and they do a nice job. There was plenty to do for 3 days, Pink Jeep Tour is real fun. The highest mountain range we got to was 7000 feet. beautiful.

    « October 1, 2016 »

This was the first time I stayed at a Best Western. I selected the hotel based on comments made on Trip Advisor. The hotel was everything I had hoped for. The rooms are clean and comfortable - - plus there are terrific views of the red rocks from the balconies. Excellent location and walking distance to restaurants and shops. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and much better than other hotels I have stayed at. The hotel and staff made our first time visit to Sedona a memorable experience. You will be pleasantly surprised by this hotel

« A small piece of heaven in the Red Rock town »

We stayed there for 3 nights. The staff are the best. The person who booked us in and looked after us Ester she should not only be employee of the month but of the year. The villa was very clean, every thing you need is right there for you from washing powder to pool towels and beyond. The facilities are just as good games room inside and outside pool, jacuzzi gym computer stations ( so you can check mail but the wifi was good throughout the complex. The grounds are just fabulous. The creek is at the bottom of the property with walk that lead you from stunning view to stunning view. I can recommend the duel swing seat beside the creek side barbecues- you just hear the water and the cicadas in the trees -- so peaceful I could have stayed all day. Sad to leave but looking forward to next visit

    « Just Book It!! »

My husband and I stayed here for a week while visiting in beautiful Sedona. The minute we walked in the door, we were greeted by the friendliest staff we had ever met. Our room was in the main building on the 5th floor with a private balcony and a wonderful view of the red rocks! Every morning, we took advantage of the complimentary breakfast offering a fairly wide selection of items. Again, the staff was so helpful with our questions from where to eat to best hiking places...lucky manager to have such a great staff. I WILL come again!!

    « Perfect! »

Our whole group loved this stay! Will choose it every time we return! Loved the patio and the view! Good deal for the price! Breakfast is better than most hotel breakfasts with a good variety of options for everyone. Hot tub and pool were nice as well. Location is good. Close to everything but not in the middle of it all.

« Great Red Rock Views »

Stayed in the North Signature Room. The North Signature Rooms are a private 5 room two story building adjacent to the larger 60 room five story main hotel. Our room on the 2nd floor had great red rock views from our balcony. The room was very quiet, comfortable and clean. The air-conditioner was one of the quietest I've experienced in a hotel. Come out of your door and within 100 feet you were on Uptown Sedona Main Street (AZ89) but we never heard any traffic noise. The room had a gas fireplace but during our stay the weather favored a/c not heat. The hotel has a free breakfast buffet which was ok but nothing to get excited about other than it was free. This hotel suited us just right as we were not looking for a spa resort with golf and fine dining. Bottom line this was very nice room, quiet with easy access to Uptown Sedona shops and restaurants.

    « Met My Expectations »

After reading the reviews and researching other Sedona hotels, I chose Arroyo Robel Hotel & Villas. We stayed in a villa overlooking a flowing creek that was very relaxing to hear from my balcony. I especially liked that the villa was very clean and spacious. Staff were friendly and responsive to our inquiries and requests. The kitchen was a bit dated but well stocked to accommodate all our needs. I would definitely consider staying again!

« Get a Room Red Rocks View »

Had a very pleasant stay with my family here. Hotel is very well maintained, rooms are clean, and staff super friendly. We upgraded to a room with the Red Rocks view and it's worth it. Breakfast could use an upgrade however, Super 8/HoJo level with terrible coffee which was the only downside.

    « My Sedona Stay »

I would recommend this hotel to any one staying in the Sedona area. Free breakfast was good and offered a variety of breakfast items for every one there. Hotel is clean, staff helpful and friendly, and is centrally located in downtown area allowing you to walk almost anywhere. I had requested a room with a beautiful view of the Red Rock Mountains with a daily of sunrises and that is what I got..

« Perfect location and great views »

We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights at the Best Western Arroyo Roble. The location is fantastic. It is right in the middle of town, within steps of shops and restaurants, and the Pink Jeep tours picked us up at the hotel because it was so close to their office. The views abound. We had a great red rock view from our private balcony of Snoopy Rock. The room is large and well appointed with a Southwestern flair. The bed is comfortable. There is a mini fridge to store your cold drinks. The bathroom is a little small with the toilet and tub in a tiny room and the sink in the main room. They supply nice shampoos and lotions. We found their front desk staff very friendly and helpful and they supplied us with a discount card to a recommended restaurant. We also enjoyed the free hot breakfast buffet. There was always a different hot egg casserole each day, scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes or waffles and lots of cold choices too. The coffee is very good as well. I stayed at Enchantment also, but I would pick this place for convenience and hospitality over Enchantment.

    « Great Views »

We stayed here for a week for our anniversary. We had a great room with a balcony with amazing views. The room was very comfortable, clean, quiet and within walking distance of all of uptown with its shops and restaurants. Great place to stay with access to everything.

    « Great Relaxing Time »

Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room and view were as described of the surrounding red rock mountains, great afternoons on the patio. Amenities were above average, internet, coffee maker, TV, except for the TV remote, shower water pressure & shower head very good, Breakfast was very good with an exceptional staff to assist you.

« Right in the middle of the everything........ »

Best Western Plus Arroyo Roble is right on the "main drag" of Sedona. Shops, restaurants, churches, etc. all walking distance. Was only there for one night during Labor Day weekend. As you can imagine, very busy place, but still enjoyable. Stayed in main building of hotel. Room was very adequate and comfortable. Parking can be tricky at the hotel if hotel is full. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Highly, recommend dining at Elote. No reservations, so sit back and have a drink & some popcorn. Worth the wait.

    « Always a pleasant stay »

This hotel is a very comfortable, and is conveniently located in the center of Sedona. Walk to the center shops and many restaurants. Each room has balconies with great views of the red rocks. A very good breakfast room with breakfast included in the room price. Access to a very nice club house. We just keep going back because we are always treated well. Great front office personnel, especially Nicole.

    « Location, location, location! »

Stayed over Labor Day weekend here and with the crowded holiday we were so glad we did! We missed all the traffic by walking to shopping and dining. Room was very clean, great views of the Red Rocks from our balcony, breakfast was awesome. 2 pools, nice game room, great creek access. Would most definitely stay here again when in Sedona.

    « Family vacation/wedding »

We rented the 2 bedroom 2.5 bathroom condo on the river for 3 nights. We shared it with another couple and 2 single people who shared living room. (I ordered a hide away bed). So 6 of us stayed in condo. It's a nice alternative to renting a house. It's everything you will need. It's spacious, clean, updated. We loved it and would absolutely recommend. The pool has a beautiful view. I don't have any complaint.

    « Fabulous »

There really is a lot to say about this hotel. Everything about our experience here has been wonderful and we were here for 8 nights. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. Our room while not "luxurious" is very comfortable, spacious and well-appointed and the view from our balcony is spectacular! We stayed on the 5th floor and woke up to Snoopy Rock every morning. And the included hot breakfast here is amazing! It has everything you could want and more in a breakfast and is delicious-- be sure to have the homemade salsas and strawberry sauce!! Our housekeeper, Barbara, was great and accommodating. If we ever have the opportunity to return to Sedona we will definitely stay here again. Oh and did I mention that the bed is really comfy???

    « BEAUTIFUL PARADISE »

Perfect location in the middle of stores and restaurants , magnificent view from any room to the mountains , you can walk a few steps to oak creek and relax in the middle of the nature that gives you a connection to Sedona . The club house is perfect place to relax after any tour or go with the children , family and friends to have a good time. The staff was very, very nice and helpful

« Great view in red rock facing rooms »

The room was clean and had great views, but we were on the first floor and anyone walking down the path could see into the room when our shades were open so we ended up keeping them closed most of the time we were there. We were able to get a late checkout at 1pm which was nice. We only stayed one night.

« Firts trip to Sedona »

Think that we've discovered a hidden gem in Sedona! A beautiful property with all the needs of a traveller within walking distance. The friendly desk crew has all the local information you might need. Our daughter has been asking when we are moving to Sedona ever since...

« Wonderful Accommodations--a great place to rest, relax and experience the beautiful Southwest »

We stayed in the townhouses that are at the back of the Best Western Arroyo property. Our two bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom, two fireplace, two balcony and one patio condo was such a pleasure to come "home" to after our daily adventures. The townhouse was modern, nicely furnished and equipped with a full, functioning kitchen and washer/dryer. The master bathroom had a jetted tub and separate shower. My favorite thing was to sit right outside the back slider in the Adirondack chairs with a glass of wine at the end the day and listen to the soothing sounds of the "river" that ran 50 feet from the back door. The staff was extremely pleasant, the rooms were clean and the hot, full breakfast every day that was included in the price, was delicious. We didn't want to leave!

« Do not stay here they have bed bugs! »

Do not stay here they have bed bugs! When I brought this up to the hotel staff they did not seem to care. No room change offered,no refund offered, not even a decent apology.I was even laughed at by a manager that said "bugs are part of the Sedona experience" I had to cut my vacation short so I could go home and clean all my belongings to make sure there where no bugs in them. After returning home I have been attempting to contact the hotel and the only information I have received is that the General Manager is on vacation so nothing can be done to refund me for the nights i paid for but didn't use because of this situation.

« 3 nights - part of Grand Circle trip »

Very nice location central to shops and restaurants many within walking distance. We were 5 (parents and 3 kids) in a room, with one using a rollaway which was fine. Room was clean and of adequate size. Beautiful vista of the surrounding red rock mountains right outside our window/patio. Breakfast was included and had something for all of us to enjoy for a quick bite before heading out for the day. 2 pools were mostly quiet for a refreshing dip. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel in on an incline, so there is a lot of climbing stairs and inclines to get around which may be an issue for some.

« Very good place to stay in sedona! »

This was a centrally located hotel in sedona. It had very comfortable beds, nice deck, and good wifi! The kids (9 and 11 ) loved the breakfast, great selection of food! Very central location for dinner, pink jeep tours, and shopping. Especially if you would like to get a crystal or a physic reading?? Great hotel overall!

Great place to stay. All the amenities you would desire. Location excellent for walking into town. Our room had an exceptional view of Red Rock. Walking distance to the beautiful stream and around the beautiful hotel. Great for families. The breakfast was included and all we can say is WOW!!! Can't beat. I would highly recommend the Best Western Hotel and Resort. Patricia

« Great location in Sedona »

Hotel is located right in the center of uptown Sedona. Recommend the rooms on an upper floor facing the Red Rocks. What could be better! The room was clean and well maintained, staff service was excellent, and the breakfast was good.

    4
« Nice hotel. GREAT view. Great location. VERY friendly staff »

Be sure to get "red rock view" instead of city view. It's more $$ but well worth it to look out your balcony at beautiful cliffs (including Snoopy Rock), and it is quieter than the rooms that face onto 89A. Breakfast they include is a REAL buffet breakfast... huevos rancheros, scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, yoghurt, cereal, coffee, etc. The rooms are nice... not fancy, but nice. The hotel is at the north end of the main strip, so you are walking distance to everything in upper Sedona (~ 8 min walk to Pink Jeeps, which is at far end of main strip). The staff was VERY friendly, especially Jalinda (sorry, I forget her name, but it was something like that) who had some great suggestions for hikes and restaurants. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay there again.

« Perfect location, great views and family fun at the games room »

Beautiful views of the red rocks from our spacious family room with a balcony. This hotel is walking distance to a wide variety of shops, bars and restaurants. We loved the gym. Our kids loved the indoor / outdoor pool and games room with shuffle board, air hockey and fuze ball. The staff are warm and welcoming. The gym opens at 7am but when I showed up early, they opened it for me. The treadmills look out to the red rocks and the view while watching the Rio olympics put a bounce in my step. The staff recommended their favorite local hikes and vistas which were indeed lovely. Breakfast was above average for this hotel range - fresh fruit, baked goods, eggs, bacon etc and excellent coffee. We liked the keurig machine in our room too. Free parking. We were very happy with our choice.

    « Awesome vistas »

Arroyo Roble Hotel was an excellent location. In the middle of downtown Sedona. Sedona is a breathtaking little town and area. The Fall seems to be the time of year to go. Summer is too HOT! Spring would probably be a stand out also. Would highly recommend for a long weekend. The Tea Pot cafe is a winner! The drive in and around Sedona are so worth the trip.We have been twice, once in Oct. and another in July.

    « Great view! »

If your staying in Sedona, this is the only place to be. The views at the rear from the rooms are simply perfect. This is our second visit to the hotel and each time it has been great. Nice staff and great amenities. Well worth a visit. Only 6 miles from 'slide rock' (well worth a visit - get there for 8am). Great (walking) access to local shops and cafes.

    5
« The best view in Sedona »

Great hotel, staff and services. BUT the view is the real gem! What a view. If your going to Sedona, this hotel is a must. Make sure you ask for the view of the mountains to the rear. One word 'outstanding'. Great little pool at the rear and access to the larger pool and complex just at the rear of the site. Good access to the local shops and cafes. Generally good on site parking (can get a little limited if you return late in an evening). Well worth a stay if your in the area. Only 6 miles from slide rock (a must - check it out, get there for 8am)!

    « Awesome Views! »

We stayed here for three nights. The view was just as advertised, and the service was great. The desk people were very cheerful and helpful, and the breakfast was OUTSTANDING! We stayed in the hotel, and used the pool at the hillside, rather than down in the villas (which was available). The hotel is within walking distance of restaurants and shops in a rather 'touristy' section of Sedona, but you can drive a few miles to other spots for nicer restaurants. The hotel was quiet; we were on the third floor above the pool, and no noise issues. This hotel actually reminded me of one we stayed at in Paris (without the mountain view). Nice feel, comfortable and interesting. The room could have been a tad larger, cleaner, and the bathroom is a bit odd (sink and mirror in the hallway, with the toilet and shower/tub in a CLOSET-sized separate room). There were three of us - four probably a bit too crowded.

    5
    « Amazing views »

Awesome stay in the cottage! My grandchildren were delighted to be able to play right in front of our room. We sat out gazing at the mountains in the moonlight and then again to catch the sunrise. Comfy beds and pillows, great bathroom, and very near the pool. Breakfast was the typical hotel hot buffet, but was substantial enough to carry us through until well past lunchtime.

« Best Resort Location In Sedona »

My wife and I have been owners at Arroyo Roble for many years. We just love the fact that we an enjoy the condo like residences that back up to Oak Creek. It is so relaxing to enjoy the sound of the rushing water as it flows through the creek. Our grandsons have joined us here for a week every year since they were babies. Now at 9 and 12 years old they are experts in the navigation of the property and especially Oak Creek. What a wonderful place it is, especially for young boys who like to be in and play in nature. For us adults it is the most beautiful and relaxing place in Sedona.

    5
    « Wonderful place »

We had a big group of people and rented 3 of the villas. The back doors opened to the creek and every morning we would all gather outside for coffee. The villas are so elegant and we were so impressed with the entire experience. The hike up to breakfast was worth the trip. The location is right in uptown Sedona so you can walk to all the shopping. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. We will book this hotel again next time.

« Expensive but excellent Best Western in a beautiful location »

Has to be one of the nicest Best Westerns we have ever stayed in. Given its location and the time of year, the price is understandable but still expensive. The location is ideal, the views phenomenal and the pool was great! What else is there to say? Oh Ya, the front desk staff were very, very helpful and the stars of the show!

    5
    « Can't be beat »

For the price, location, and amenities, this is the place to stay in Sedona. It's right at the end of the shopping district, and before you head through the National Forest. The views are lovely from the back and parking is ample. Part of it is timeshares, but hotel folks can access the pools and game room. The staff were very friendly and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

    4
« nice stop over location »

while the hotel is just average, the location right next to all the restaurants and shops and the use of the facilities of the next door of the timeshare does it. room quite big, clean with some nice beds.

« Pleasantly surprized! Spacious and CLEAN room! »

First and foremost our room was spotlessly clean. Very happy with maid service. CLEAN! They even have some sort of clean-remotes for tvs, that repel germs, awesome! I was apprehensive going in knowing it was dog friendly (there were A LOT of dogs). My husband and I did notice a slight odor of pet urine just outside our door, but that was the only evidence of furry guests. From what we understand, only certain rooms on a certain floor are avilable for those traveling with pets. So there is some barking, but its centered in one place amongst likeminded guests. We were not bothered at all. We had a two room suite (king bedroom & living room with sofa bed for the kids). I understand there aren't many of these rooms, & they all face Main Street, not mountain view. Roomy kitchenette, fridge is dorm room size, not full. The main pool is small but lovely, with great view. It was never crowded. We used the laundry room, which was clean, but there's only two washers & dryers and there was a wait.. Front desk Staff is very friendly and Helpful! They found my kids new Polaroid camera left near the pool, found our last name inside the case, and tracked us down in our room. We didn't even know it was missing! Free breakfast was great, cooked items very tasty and a wide variety offered for all, from cereal, yogurts, fresh fruit, to cooked oatmeal, scrambled and western eggs, meats, and waffles. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

    5
« Best location, great service »

Just spent a week here. Liked that it was small and quiet. All rooms face east overlooking the best rock formations. The free breakfast was very well done. Also used the pool and gym. Have to give it a thumbs up even tho it was rather pricey, but everything in Sedona is. If you go, check out Picazzos Pizza for amazing salads and organic pizza. Also put Jerome on your to do list, it's cool.

    5
    « Incredible »

If you have a chance to stay by the creek take it! My room was basically an updated two story condo right on the creek with incredible sounds and views of the creek. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who would like a relaxing weekend away with great restaurants and shops a few minutes walking.

« Good Location and Views »

Spectacular view from the balcony (red rock view) and a good location in uptown Sedona. However, keep in mind it is build on a hill and the hotel pool is about 4-5 stories down. The elevator will take you part way, but you will have about 2-3 flights of steps back to the elevator if you room is on a higher floor. I didn't try the fitness center which a little walk away. I also didn't visit the park at the creek. I wanted to, but it is even farther down and I had a sore knee and didn't want to make the climb back (probably about 4 to 5 flights of steps). Plus, the elevation at 5000 feet is more than I'm used to so it's hard for me. Parking is also down the hill so if you have children in strollers or elderly family members, this may be a challenge. That said, most of the town is built on a hill so you may not find many 'flatter' facilities although around Safeway things flatten out a bit.

    « Great stay »

To be honest, I wasn't expecting much from a Best Western property and it was wonderful. Fantastic views from the fourth floor. Each time I looked out the red rocks reflected the light differently and I was in awe. We used the pool at the hotel as well as the one at the villas as well as their game room. the breakfast was varied enough and ran from 6:30 am - 10:00 am making it very easy to get there. The front desk staff were so nice and friendly and housekeeping even gave great recommendations - ensuring visitors were able to enjoy their community as much as they do! I left my wedding ring in my room and we called to see if they could find it. We figured chances were slim. We got a call back in 10 minutes that they had found them and had them in a safe place at the front desk until we could return after our overnight trip to the grand canyon. And there they were when I returned. Thank you Arroyo Roble! The only issue was that the little fridge wasn't particularly cold in room 402, which was only an issue for us because we like to keep leftovers and snacks for our kids in the room. Also, we like to have a restaurant on site, but we made use of the Amara hotel next door which had an excellent restaurant - Salt Rock.

    5
    « Stunning! »

We were thoroughly excited with our selection of this hotel. Try to get a room on the balcony side, it's worth any extra hassle. The Hotel was immaculately maintained, the staff was more than helpful, the views are unrivaled. We really enjoyed the fire pit on the balcony after the kids went to sleep, it was beautiful to see the night sky in that setting.

Our view was over the outdoor pool looking at Snoopy. Marvelous. The lady working the front counter was very friendly and outgoing. The maids all greeted you and asked if they could help you. Amazing. The grounds were lovely -- access to the swimming hole in the creek, two pools, a hot tub, steam room and sauna, a game room, fitness equipment. All in tip-top shape. Walking distance to lots of shopping.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms were up to date and we had a great view of the Sedona Red Rock. We walked everywhere in town. The pool and health club type facility were nice. They had lovely views and a nice game room for the kids.

« Impressive service and phenomenal views of Sedona's unique landscape! »

As a fellow Professional Hotelier who has worked in high-end hospitality and runs a top performing hotel in The Bay Area, San Francisco, I must say this Best Western Plus property stands apart from most and I was very impressed with every aspect of my experience. The service was impeccable. Specifically, Eric at the Front Desk. He was incredibly friendly, informative and he really made my partner and I feel welcomed. It's hard to find dedicated hospitality professionals like this and he certainly deserves to be recognized. The view from our room was phenomenal, the facilities are well maintained and you will certainly feel like you are at a 5 star resort; not a typical Best Western hotel. While there are many options in Sedona and every traveler has unique preferences. I can assert with confidence that this hotel will not disappoint. Give them a shot, you will be glad to be pleasantly surprised. I will certainly help spread the word and let clients at the hotel I run know about this amazing place if they are ever headed this way. Kindly, Jay Consuelo

    « A very good stay »

A quiet hotel and very nice clean rooms. A nice welcome on check in and very friendly and efficient staff. The beds were comfortable though the linen a little rough. Plenty of towels in the room. Breakfast was particularly good with the option to sit outside which was nice. Location is perfect: thank goodness we were situated at the north end of the centre as the queue into Sedona on Saturday evening was truly appalling - 3/4 hr to travel 3 miles!! The good news is that you can walk into the town, visit lots of eateries and shops, and watch the sunset. We walked down to the hotel's club facilities and creek which looked lovely but did not have time to use. Overall I would recommend this hotel. A lovely stay.

    « Just Geourgeous!!! »

My husband and I just stayed here this past weekend for our honeymoon trip. Let me tell you he absolutely loved the room. We had a signature plus room. Very comfortable king bed. A flat screen tv with a dvd player as well. A beautiful fireplace (which we happened to use due to the rainy weather). The bathroom was just amazing. Two separate vanities, a jetted tub and a separate walk in shower. The shower has 4 shower heads 1 directly above your head and the other 3 going down your back. It was an amazingly beautiful room. The view from the room was snoopy rock, and we had a patio which was very nice. Very private. The front desk staff was there to answer any and all questions we had. Job well done to Nicole, Nick, Eric, Monique, and Jonielle. The breakfast was wonderful. There was egg casserole, bacon, sausage, ham, cereal, muffins and fruit. Soto and Robert were wonderful attendants. Both very hard workers. And the housekeeping staff was also very kind and friendly. Teri and Lori were able to supply anything we needed. And our housekeeper Terry was very sweet as well. We took a walk down to the creek in the morning and just sat and talked. It was very relaxing. We also had a blast playing pool while hanging down at the club house. All in all one of the best hotels I've stayed at. We will definitely be returning and I will be recommending to all my friend and family!!!

Location is amazing, Beautiful grounds and most of the Timeshare was very, very nice. You are allowed to regulate your own Air. Internet is free, but not always reliable. Weekends are very bad...so if you need to work this was a big problem for my husband and I. Some old stuff in the timeshare that could be updated... Very old refrigerator, Dressers falling apart with the drawers falling out of dresser's. Like that it is not a hard sell resort..

    « Sedona's Red Rocks »

My family and I visited Sedona specifically to see Sedona's spectacular red rocks. The view of the rocks from our balcony was stunning. As well, the hotel was just steps away from local restaurants and shops. The proximity of the hotel to the geographic wonders of Sedona and to the town's center made it a logical place to stay with easy access to views, shopping, adventures (the Pink Jeeps tour), and restaurants. We also visited the Grand Canyon while staying at the Best Western Arroyo Roble Hotel

« Location and View is Excellent »

It's a bit expensive for a BW, but the view from the rooms north of the hotel itself are awesome. They have a small balcony and a screen door to leave open to let the breeze flow. Overall the location of this hotel is fabulous, you can walk to everything. They offer a free breakfast, and it's acceptable, nothing fancy but you can get fruit, a decent cup of coffee and a waffle. I would recommend this hotel. Park the car and walk all over town.

we came to see the sights and experience the beauty of sedona. we went on a personal vortex tour with Miguel through sedona red rock tours, perfect balance of sceince and spirit, highlight of the trip, highly recommend! also recommend elote for dinner, delish! do not recommend the cowboy saloon or hudsons, food was disappointing!

    « Perfect location...great view. »

Awesome stay....location right in town...amazing view of red rocks. Beds were super comfy! Everything was in walking distance (including pink jeep tours), complimentary breakfast is a full spread of food options, pool was very nice with incredible views. A great location, great stay, will definitely be back.

Pleasant staff, rooms were very clean. Breakfast was tasty! View was awesome! Everything is near by, walking distance. I didn't get to take advantage of the near by hiking trail, but will be back real soon!

« Very satisfied in Sedona »

Hotel is located next door to downtown area shops and restaurants; pleasant walking distance to most everything. Hotel was very clean and staff very friendly. Beautiful views from rooms. Room with two double beds was a bit cramped for 3 people but we made out fine.Shower/toilet room definitely could be bigger. Overall experience was great.

    « Amazing views! »

The room was nice, cool and cozy beds. The outdoor pool had amazing views of the rocks sadly our room was facing the other direction. There was also an indoor pool and oak creek access that we didn't use. The location was great to walk to all the tourist parts of town. We ate at the Sedona pizza and Oaxaca restaurant and breakfast in the hotel. For tourism we did a pink jeep tour, which my daughter loved, drove to Montezuma Castle and Well National Monuments and played at Slide Rock State Park.

    « Clean and spacious »

We booked the guest house at the last minute. It has two bedrooms a bathroom, kitchen and dining area plus a pull out sofa in the lounge. There was plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 children. The cottage had a lovely view from the front veranda, its a pity there was not a bigger window in the lounge area to enjoy the view. The front desk staff were excellent. Helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We also enjoyed the breakfast. The property had a gym, pool and steam room, these were a little dated but still very enjoyable. We walked to local restaurants and can recommend the pizza place nearby (they gave hotel patrons a discount also). It was very relaxing and we enjoyed Sedona, we wish we could have stayed longer. We will endeavour to return to visit more of the surrounding area. We visited Jerome, it is worth the trip. Wonderful views and interesting shops. We also took a Pink Jeep tour. Loved it. We look forward to returning.

« Best place to stay »

I will most definitely be back and would highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very clean and well kept. The amenities were amazing which included a very large clubhouse with multiple pools and hot tubs. And it's probably the best hotel room view of the red rocks in Sedona.

    « FANTASTIC Service, Views, & Accommodations! »

I honestly can't say enough nice things about this hotel! I picked it for an anniversary trip for my husband and I based on reviews online and pictures. After looking, it's clear most hotels in Sedona have a view of the red rocks. But this place seemed the best and slightly on the "outskirts" or the "edge" of the town. We got a red rock view room with private balcony. The view was just what I wanted! The hotel staff was so nice. My husband sent flowers to the hotel to arrive on our first day there. He didn't have the room number and just had our name on it and the staff had them in the room when we got back from our adventures. The breakfast -- wow! What a spread. They take your name at the door each day to make sure you're a guest. There's everything from waffles and cereal to granola, home fries, salsa, sausage, bacon, eggs, pastries... and the best coffee I've ever had at a hotel, no lie! I'd recommend this hotel to everyone going to Sedona! The pool looked nice but we didn't actually end up using it since we were out sightseeing late most nights. It's within walking distance of shops, a few restaurants, and tourist info too.

    « Wonderful hotel »

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The rooms are very large, the queen size beds are very comfortable. The front desk staff was wonderful. They were friendly and helped us plan things to do during our stay in Sedona. The free breakfast was good, there is plenty of parking for hotel guests. The location of this hotel is perfect- it's right in the middle of shopping and restaurants so everything is walkable. Attractions are within a few minutes drive of the hotel. There are two pools and a large area in back of the hotel for kids to play. I would highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again if (when) I come back into Sedona.

« Great location, very clean rooms, outstanding views »

Summary: This is a great place to stay. I should also note that the complementary breakfast buffet was the best I've ever seen at one of these "chain" hotels. Room: The room was very clean. We were able to fit our three kids (though it was a bit tight) plus ourselves in the room. Every room has a view of the mountains with a balcony. The hotel is large enough to support the main ammenities, yet small enough not to be overbearing. Staff: We didn't interract with the staff much, but when we did, they were great. The buffet staff were just outstanding. Overall value: It is pricey, but after doing a lot of shopping around in the area, they are charging the market rate for what you get. Hey, you're in Sedona. It's expensive. Get used to it. Location: GREAT. You are in downtown Sedona, so it is easy to walk to restaurants. You are on the north side of the town, so if you want to go to a place like Slide Rock, it's a quick shot out to where you want to be. Would I stay here again:

« Excellent family accommodation with stunning views »

We took one of the 2 bedroom villas and were very pleased with the quality of the accommodation. 2 good-sized double bedrooms upstairs, both with en suite bathrooms and balconies, plus a sofa bed downstairs, so easily sleeps 6. Cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer - all make it very home-from-home. Great location, right on the main North Sedona shopping street, so very close to shops & restaurants. Good breakfast included in the price. Very pleased with our choice.

    « Girls Getaway »

From the moment we walked into the lobby to the time we checked out the following morning we were met with kind and helpful staff. The facilities were clean and had everything we needed. The view from our rooms were spectacular and it was within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The breakfast the next morning that was included was amazing, as was the service. We had the best table outside to eat at with an amazing view of the beautiful red rocks. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here in the future.

« Beautiful hotel, great location »

This is a great hotel right by oak creek, on the beautiful 89A highway. The free buffet breakfast was top notch, clean and lots of choices. Your stay includes a pass to use the clubhouse which had ping pong, pool, video games and a superb indoor outdoor pool. The room itself is clean and nice, the bathroom is very tiny, but we didn't stay here just to use the bathroom. We would definitely stay again.

    « Nice Stay »

Located right in the heart of Sedona. Easy to walk to shops and restaurants. For us, the staff was not particularly cordial but nonetheless, we enjoyed the stay. We had a room with views of the gorgeous red rocks--with spectacular sunsets. Pool was nice and breakfast buffet was fantastic.

« Breathtaking Views with Great Service! »

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times and it is by far one of my favorite hotel experiences. Check-in was quick and easy. The front desk agent answered all my question and was a wealth of knowledge on the area. Per his recommendation, we took a Pink Jeep Tour (they picked us up at the hotel too!) and explored the incredible scenic areas nearby. The hotel is also right in the middle of town which made it easy to just walk next door and shop the great local gift stores. The guestroom was great, as always. Very clean and great wifi reception. The view from my balcony could have been a postcard! Amazing. Their pool wasn't crowded and a great way to cool off in the Arizona heat. Highly recommend visiting Sedona AND definitely stay at this hotel!

« Our 3rd year in a row at Best Western Arroyo Robles Hotel & Creekside Villas »

We are in the same North Signature room for the 3rd year in a row. It is so nice to see the same staff year after year. Our housekeeper, Elsa even remembered that my daughter likes extra chocolates! Monique at the front desk is simply delightful! This hotel is the perfect place to stay in Sedona. The staff are so courteous and really seem happy to see the guests every day. The complimentary breakfast is consistently delicious with hot, home-made oatmeal, egg dishes with a flair, waffles and much more! And...you won't find better views anywhere. Truly a hotel that feels like home.

    5
    « Picture Perfect! »

Seeing is believing and this place is as gorgeous as the photos. We rented a villa for our family of six. It felt like home and was clean and well appointed with everything we needed including laundry facilities! The kids LOVED the pool, tennis courts, racquetball, pool, pingpong and trails. One of my kids said, ,"mom, this is better than Disney hotels." Doesn't get much better than that.

    « Beautiful property »

Our room had a view of the Sedona mountain landscape and the creek below. What a view! The beds are extremely comfortable, the internet service is excellent. You are located within walking distance of the famous Pink Jeep Tours, many places to eat, and of course, shopping. The river, or creek, behind the property, you'll have access to. It is awesome! Your proximity to hiking trails is almost within walking distance. What a place!

« We love this hotel! »

My family chose this hotel on 3 consecutive summers to start off our Southwest trip. The rooms are basic yet always kept super clean, never had any issues with cleanliness of the room or any parts of the hotel. Arroyo Roble indoor/outdoor pool with hot tubs and sauna, game room, gym are big plus for family like us, especially in those scorching summer months. Great location with nice shops and restaurants are just a stone throw away.

« Good location - Rooms were charming and this is a hidden jewel »

We like to go to Sedona each year over the holiday. It's a beautiful time to be there and this trip turned out to be exceptional - thanks in part to where we stayed. a little rustic, a little like being in a mountain cabin -and it was an ideal location to go and come. Clean units, warm welcome, and a snow fall made us want to sing Christmas Carols. We would stay here again

    « Ok..... »

The check in was excellent and we were excited to see the room. It is nice, but quite basic for what they charge. The main pool was nice with fabulous view. The clubhouse pol and spa were horrible. Dirty, crowed, the spa wasn't working, the place was chaos and no attendants to be found. I think that services the time share section and it was disappointing . The location is great, right in the heart of town. No shuttle at this location. Not sure I would return unless I could get a better rate.

    « Tranquility »

Very comfortable quiet and tranquil, a great place to de stress. Very close to shopping, dining, galleries and tour options so you can walk not have to drive. The property is very large and lots of room to explore Oak Creek. Multiple pools were very nice.

« You Must Stay Here »

« Great experience at Best Western PLUS Arroyo Roble »

We have heard from friends that this hotel was an excellent place to stay in Sedona...now we can say that after experiencing it!! Great balcony views!! The location is in the heart of the shopping area of Sedona and it was very convenient for our destinations for lunch and dinner. The free breakfast at the hotel was outstanding! We highly recommend this hotel for your next stay in Sedona.

    « Perfect location »

I recently stayed here, and the grounds are beautiful. My room had a view of the Redrock moutians. This resort is located in walking distance to all the resturants and shopping. The staff was extremely friendly, and helpful. This resort/timeshare has two pools, hottub, and a beautiful creek. My room was immaculate and cleaned daily. The free breakfast was not your typical continental breakfast. They served a large assortment of n fresh fruit, Hot and cold cereals, waffles, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, potatoes, and more. My room had a king size bed, gas fired fireplace, mini refrigerator, and microwave. The bathroom was very spacious and had a blowdryer, iron and ioroningboard. I also had free wifi and movie channels.. I will be returning and highly recommend staying here.

    « Wonderful Property!!!! »

We stayed at the Best Western Arroyo Roble for a few days and I can honestly say it was a wonderful property with an excellent staff. Upon checking in we were met by Janyel (sp) who was warm, helpful and ear to ear smile as she welcomed us to what she described as "her little piece of heaven". We stayed in one of the king deluxe suites that are off to the side & not connected to the main hotel with a view of the red rocks which was nothing short of amazing. The room was spotless, comfortable and also had a private patio with a table & 2 chairs to sit and enjoy the beautiful landscape. This small section of rooms only has about 5 individual rooms and was very quiet & peaceful which we enjoyed. The property offers free breakfast from 7-10AM which offered fresh seasonal fruit, eggs, cereal, do it yourself waffles, muffins and coffee etc...... which was a nice start to the day. Again I want to point out that the staff was extremely helpful and very welcoming. This property has a pool at the lower level to the main hotel & a separate pool & hot tub down by the villas which are located next to the creek which was fun to explore. Additionally they offer billiard tables & other games that the kids seemed to enjoy. The property is close to everything & it is an easy walk to shopping & dining. The price of the rooms were very reasonable in regards to the overall experience of this hotel & we are planning to come back in October when it is a bit cooler weather.

Great Venue and Great Service for our SRT Summit 2016 meeting. Rooms where just as beautiful as the scenery. Free breakfast was wonderful and helped to start each day's meeting. Meeting room was very comfortable with no outside noise to distract our speakers. Highly recommend this hotel.

« Beauty at its best »

This hotel is a great kept secret. The prices are reasonable and you get awesome views of the mountains from your room, the pool, and breakfast area. What we didn't know is that it is connected to the resort which had a game room, creek access and a beautiful bbq area. For little kids, there is a playground. The breakfast is nice. It had what we need to start the morning off right. Staff is super friendly. We ended up staying at the hotel all day, because it was so nice. I would come back in a heart beat.

    « Perfect ! »

We stayed for 3 nights in June 2016 and cannot fault a thing. Wish all hotels stays were this good! Excellent, helpful and friendly staff in all areas. Beautifully clean, very comfortable and well equipped room and bathroom with wonderful shower and lovely soft towels. Very good, fresh, hot and cold breakfast choices - and the breakfast room was kept spotlessly clean. Free parking and a great location for shops, restaurants and galleries in town. Can't wait to return!

    « CREEKSIDE DELIGHT!! »

Our family of six were delighted to stay in Creekside Villa 1235 for 3 nights. The 2 bedroom townhouse was beautifully decorated and the beds were very comfortable. The master bath was fabulous!! It was so nice to have several rooms for our family to disperse and relax after a stay in a small cabin on the North Rim. The creek sounded calming from our lower and upper patios. The teenagers enjoyed tennis, racquetball, and the pool. The townhouse villa had a full kitchen and washer and dryer. We also had access to the hotel's hot breakfast which was delicious! The hotel is in town so it's easy to get to restaurants, shopping, and sightseeing. We will definitely stay in the Creekside Villas on our next Sedona journey.

    « Perfect!! »

My twin sister and I were on a Southwest road trip and stopped in Sedona for a few days. We LOVED this hotel! Everything about it was perfect. Our room was super clean, the views were to die for. We were originally booked on first floor with patio but not a private balcony. The person who checked us in gave us a FREE upgrade to a private balcony (3rd floor) room once he found out this was our birthday trip. The room had microwave and fridge which was really nice to have. The TV was huge and the beds were so comfortable, it was hard to not just lay around all day! The pool was nice and not too crowded, plenty of lounge chairs The breakfast was included in the price of the room and had standard fare but with eggs, sausages and waffles included. Great to fill you up to start your day! The whole staff was super friendly and good at their jobs - from the people at the front desk, to the cleaning crew, to the staff in the breakfast room. We were in the main building ? we walked down to the private creek which was really nice but it's a bit of a climb if you stay there to go up every day. The location was perfect. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel and cant' wait to go back! These pictures are all views from our room. The waterfall outside was an extra nice touch.

« Villas are wonderful with a great view of Oak Creek »

Stayed at a 2 bedroom villa overlooking the creek. The villa is very clean and spacious with a foyer, galley kitchen, powder room, dining area and living room with a small patio outside on the first floor. The second floor has an enormous master bedroom with a luxurious bath and deck overlooking Oak Creek and a second bedroom with a standard bath. Nick and Nicole at the front desk were very welcoming and helpful. This is not your typical Best Western - it's much more luxurious.

« Great location, even better views »

Stayed one night while in Sedona. This hotel is steps from shops, restaurants and all that Sedona has to offer. Our room was a little small, especially the bathroom, but our balcony view more than made up for it. We had amazing views of the red rock and enjoyed a beautiful sunrise!! Would definitely stay here again while visiting Sedona!

    « Sedona »

Our stay was very pleasant. I enjoyed the full extent of the stay until the very last hour when I was policed by the breakfast staff and told I could not leave the premises with my plate of food. not even a banana to my room. Why spend the extra money for a patio with a view if I can not enjoy my breakfast on it. My husband chose to not eat that morning and I HATE to sit alone with strangers and eat my food.

    5
    « Great villas »

Can not comment on the regular hotel rooms. We visited as a family of 5, so I got the villa. The villa is a 2 bdr, 2.5 bthr townhouse with fully equipped kitchen and washer/dryer, 2 gas fireplaces, great baths, it is an upscale home rather than a hotel. Great clubhouse facility with indoor/outdoor pool, exercise room, sauna, steam room, tennis courts. Breakfast is slightly better than average BW, with some nice extras. Staff is very nice, everything worked as planned, and they gave us some good tips about the area. We only stayed for a day, but this would be a great base for a group of 4 people to stay for a week, do some outdoor activities, have a nice dinner in town, and then relax in comfort.

    « Relaxing Fit »

First time stay at the Best Western Arroyo Roble and overall, it was a nice stay. I think price wise, it is a little bit more than it should be, you are basically paying for the view and location, but I was completely satisfied with our room. We had one of the premier rooms in the north tower - complete with fireplace, private patio, rain shower and jacuzzi. Everything was very clean and well taken care of, even though our first night there we found a roach making his way across our floor. We named him Freddie and trapped him under a glass for the remainder of our stay. The rain shower was amazing and the jacuzzi was just what I needed. The room also had a wet bar and keurig coffee maker that was fully stocked. The bed was comfortable and you could lay back and just stare at the gorgeous Sedona view if you wanted. We walked the property our first night and the area is very nicely kept. The outside pool ( I never found the indoor pool) looked nice and if you follow the road all the way down you will eventually find the creek. There are very pretty flowers and statues throughout the area and we had fun taking pictures. We didn't get to sample the breakfast, mostly because we like to sleep in and the one day I looked I couldn't find it ( blush). But the location is uptown and there is no shortage of places to eat around the hotel. Check in and check out was easy and with our room we had a dedicated parking space, so that was nice. One thing I hate is coming back at night to a hotel and finding parking on the other side of the moon. One night someone was in our spot, but the front desk soon sorted it out. The only con I can think to mention was the tv. It was way across the room from the bed and the remote wasn't very... helpful, if you can guess what I mean. I normally don't have a problem watching tv in bed, but this set was so far away I needed my glasses. Not the hotel's fault, but I did find it annoying. There are many places to stay in Sedona, of course, and I have stayed at more than a few in my time. I would put this at # 3 on my list. The Inn Above Oak Creek is my first choice, but when that one isn't available and I feel like spending extra money, I'll pick the BW!

« Great place to stay with amazing views!! »

We stayed here for 7 nights in June '16 as part of our trip to Arizona. There weren't really any negatives for us! On arrival we were welcomed by very friendly, courteous, helpful staff....any time during our stay when we needed a bit of information , they were only too pleased to help. We stayed in a king room on the 4th floor with a balcony...the room was very spacious, comfortable and throughout our stay, the standards of cleanliness were very high. And as for the view.....it was superb!! Don't think we've ever stayed in a hotel with a view like it before..it was a treat opening the curtains every morning! The room rate included breakfast which was very enjoyable....cereals, lovely fresh fruit, waffles, toast, bacon, muffins, etc. We noticed that at all times the breakfast room/area was kept very neat, tidy and clean. The staff there were also very pleasant. The location of the hotel was great, very central in Uptown Sedona next to numerous shops, galleries and restaurants. The hotel also offered a clubhouse which had indoor/outdoor pool, sauna, fitness room, and various other sporting facilities. All in all we believe that if you choose to stay at the Arroyo Roble, then you can expect high standards of service and facilities.

« Arroyo Roble Best Western and Creekside »

I decided to stay in the downtown location only to try something different..I have stayed in downtown Sedona only 3 other times in 3 other hotels. What I liked about this location was the access to downtown spur of the moment, as my trip was half business, half pleasure. I much prefer a quieter setting, and with a mountain view room, it is not as peaceful with parking, pool, etc. just below the balconies. However for this one trip that was not a big issue for me-and I also became ill with respiratory problem, so being right there in town made it easy for me to go to eat, etc., without having to drive to get someplace. A nicer place for families.

    « Red Rock View »

Our room seemed a bit expensive when we booked it, but we wanted a view and this place delivered! We were on the ground floor with a gorgeous view right out of our door/window, including a nice fountain on the hotel property. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was exceptional. It was a full breakfast, not just yogurt, cereal, and fruit. The hotel is also within walking distance of shops and a good selection of places to eat. Very nice hotel and I would recommend it to friends.

    « An Excellent Choice »

Sedona is a lovely town & this hotel is superbly located next to shops, restaurants & of course the incredible scenery that the property backs onto. On arrival the reception was very helpful & the checking in procedure was friendly & efficient. Tina in particular was kind enough to arrange a Pink Jeep tour & gave us her own recommendations. The room itself was rear facing so we were lucky enough to enjoy the gorgous views of the Red Rock landscape. The room also has a fridge, microwave & comfortable beds. My only tiny constructive critism was that i found the pillows to be slightly uncomfortable. Breakfast was included & was very good.Overall i can only compliement this hotel as it delivers in every department & i would certainly recomend it to anyone else who is looking for a hotel in Sedona.I certainly will return on my next visit.

« Outstanding facility, service and location in uptown Sedona »

We stayed in the Hotel in a North Signature Room that was clean and offered great views of the mountains. Front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the best I've seen in any hotel. Maid service was excellent. Free daily breakfast was offered, free internet and no additional charges for parking. Needed a bottle opener, got one no charge from the front desk. Conveniently located directly on Route 89A (no road noise could be heard in our room) at the north end of northern Sedona for easy walking access to shops, restaurants and tour offices. Stayed a week in Sedona and after seeing the location of other hotels/resorts, this is the place to stay.

This hotel is well situated to explore Sedona. There are restaurants and shopping very close by, as well as being within walking distance of the tour companies. The rooms are well sized although the basin as you walk into the room was quite odd. The service was good and the rooms are always well cleaned. The views of the red rocks from the balcony was a special treat. The breakfast room was adequate and serves the usual breakfast fare. A good hotel to spend a few nights in whilst exploring the beautiful surrounds.

    « Villas are well-appointed and comfortable »

There are not many places to stay in northern AZ when you have a large group, but the villas at this Best Western fit this bill. The rooms are updated, the beds are comfortable, and the breakfast is one of the best we have had at a hotel buffet.

    « Great hotel »

We weren't planning to stay overnight in Sedona, but we fell in awe of the town so we decided to inquire at 2 hotels. Luckily, Best Western had a few rooms left and they gave us a good price for our stay. Even called up our hotel in Willaims to request for a late check out for us to give us ample time to get back the following day to Williams--- and provided toothbrushes, toothpaste and comb for everyone of us. Big, comfortable rooms, and good breakfast. The hotel is just within the main road.

« Nicest Best Western Ever! »

This is a nice hotel in a great location! The room seemed a little pricey, but not so much for the area. It's right in the middle of town and you can walk to shops and restaurants. The room is an average hotel room, but the views are the best. I loved just laying by the pool soaking up the canyons. Another great perk was the free breakfast. We stay in many free breakfast hotels, but this one was terrific! Not only they they offer delicious waffles, but great fruit toppings to go along with it. There were plain scrambled eggs and eggs southwestern style with green chiles. So good! I would come here again.

« Beautiful hotel, great staff and amenities »

The view outside of our balcony was beyond compare. The room was very nice, clean, and amenities were amazing. Great pool, and wonderful breakfast. We also loved that we were right in uptown Sedona where we walked to most everything around. Staff was also excellent and very friendly.

« Great hotel, great location. »

The property, the staff and the breakfast were absolutely wonderful. I would revisit this hotel every time I am in Sedona because it was that good. The front desk staff were happy and helpful, no matter what the request. My party was traveling for three weeks and this hotel was the best.

    « Great Place! »

This Place is located in the heart of Downtown Sedona. I use it as an RCI exchange and I love it. The villas are spacious and includes everything that is needed, even the washer and dryer. The grounds are beautiful and serene especially by the creek. I would come back anytime!

    « Had it all! »

Our family of four stayed here for 3 nights Memorial Day weekend. We had reserved a 2-queen bed room with private balcony which is what we received. The room was on the 2nd floor, but ground level from the front of the property. Our view was the main pool with the gorgeous red rocks as a back drop. The balcony had a small table and two chairs. Air conditioner worked great. Beds were comfortable and room had a small refrigerator and coffee maker. Loved that the room had a Keurig, but didn't like the coffee- really weak. Husband used the gym twice and found it to be adequate. We used the pool each night and it was good. Nice, comfortable lounge chairs. Included hot breakfast was wonderful. It is obvious the cook takes pride in what he does- each morning there was homemade strawberry sauce for yogurt/waffles, a great, hot egg dish, homemade granola. Very impressed with breakfast. You can either eat inside or on the patio overlooking the rocks. We had a rental car and never had a problem finding a parking space in the main area, day or night. The hotel's location is right on the strip of shops in Uptown. I had a problem with my camera on the first day and was able to walk approximately half a block down to a camera shop. Would highly recommend this property, although Sedona was very crowded with it being Memorial Day, so traffic coming in and out right here was a nightmare. It was a great location for us, very central for all the places we visited.

« Perfect in every way! »

My husband and I stayed here for four nights for our anniversary and it was perfect! The location is very convenient and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. We were on the fifth floor with a balcony and had an amazing view! The room was bright and inviting and felt like home. The staff was friendly and very accommodating from check -in to check-out; We were even able to check-in early! I can't say enough good things about this hotel and hope to return again!

« Great location, spectacular views, wonderful staff »

We stayed last week at the BWAR, choosing a balcony red rock view room in the main hotel. From the moment we first arrived at the front desk, we were wowed by the congeniality and professional hospitality of the staff. Our room was spacious with an amazing balcony view; the beds are among the most comfortable I have ever experienced in any hotel room. The grounds are lovely, landscaping and sculptures, tastefully appointed with well-maintained outdoor pool and fountains. The breakfast buffet is outstanding, well above and beyond similar spreads. Fresh fruit, a new breakfast entrée each day such as huevos rancheros and casseroles. We highly recommend this property; location is also outstanding for walking to downtown Sedona dining and activities.

« Excellent weekend stay at a great Best Western Plus property in a great Sedona location »

Overall great experience at the Best Western Plus Arroyo Robie Hotel. It has been years since I have stayed at a Best Western, and it was my first time to visit Sedona, AZ so I used Trip Advisor reviews to help me narrow my choices. The reviews for this property are very good, and I was not disappointed! Room: very clean, modern, comfortable bed, and well appointed with a balcony (with two chairs and small table). Room view: if you are on the Red Rocks side, the view is an amazing unobstructed view of the Red Rocks (overlooking the pool and the entire property which extends from the hotel down into a valley with the hotel being at the highest point). Location: excellent location near the end of the main strip in Sedona and in short walking distance to various dining and shopping options. Amenities: very nice smallish(but not crowded) pool on the backside of the hotel and about a 100 meters out the backdoor of the hotel is a health club that hotels guests have access. The health club has a larger indoor/outdoor pool, a indoor and outdoor jacuzzi, a sauna, a steam room, as other activities like ping pong and a game room. I didn't get to the gym this trip because we were hiking all day, but based on everything else on the property I would have to believe it is at least very functional. Staff: super friendly, professional, and helpful staff! Value: Good for the season and my timing to book. That said the price was expensive, but I booked late and at the peak of the season when folks are coming up from hotter areas of AZ to escape the heat so relative to other property prices this was good value in my eyes. I selected the Best Western Plus because it was the lowest price of the all the properties with good reviews, a pool, and a room with a view and balcony. Note: this is not a reflection on the property, but stores and restaurants close earlier than I would have thought on Sedona's main strip (especially for a weekend), so get your dinner early. Our first day there we ate a late lunch/early dinner and went back out later (just before 10pm) to eat a late dinner and nearly everything was closed. That is not a negative knock on Sedona as it is awesome charming place to visit, but just a note to consider when planning the timing of when you dinner eat :)

« Great Location and Very Comfortable Villa »

We traded our timeshare for a week here in a 2 bedroom 2 1/2 bath townhome villa. We had a wonderful time. We needed to have maintenance come for 3 things....2 turned out to be our fault and not a real problem....the other was a running toilet. All 3 times the maintenance folks arrived very quickly, were polite and handled everything. The grounds are beautiful...we sat out by the fountain several evenings...used our balconies and the community grills...very nice. The appliances were all new except the washer dryer unit. It worked, but it was old. The unit had new carpet and new tile floors. The furniture was a little dated, but other than that the condo was well equipped. The location can't be beat...really a nice spot. We'll stay here again.

« Wonderful location, accommodations, and staff! »

We stayed in one of the Creekside Villas for a family vacation and were very pleased. The hotel is within walking distance of Uptown Sedona's shops and restaurants, and the villas are roomy, clean, and comfortable. It was wonderful to sit outside on the patio and listen to the creek. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of options, and all the staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

    3
    « Great location »

The staff in this hotel was very helpful and friendly; they helped us book the pink jeep tours which were a blast! The fireplace in the lobby was cozy and inviting, and I loved the location because shops and restaurants were all an easy, close walk up the street . And, after several day of traveling, we appreciated the on-site washers and dryers. The rooms were OK-nothing special-but the view from the balcony of the red rocks was superb. If I were in Sedona again, I might stay there because of the location and the friendly staff.

« Great home base for a week in Sedona! »

This hotel is in a perfect location - lots of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. We stayed for a week and our room (503) overlooked the pool and we sat out on our balcony in the evenings to enjoy the beautiful view of the red rocks. The housekeeping staff are terrific and the rooms are very clean. The front desk staff are very helpful with restaurant suggestions and maps of the area. The breakfast buffet and all the gentlemen that keep it running in the morning were great. Nice buffet with a couple of egg choices, bread choices, yogurt, fresh fruit, waffles, juice, muffins - a great way to start the day and there's a little patio to enjoy your breakfast outside. We've stayed in other places in Sedona but we'll definitely be back to the Best Western Arroyo Roble.

« Best location in Uptown Sedona »

Can't say enough about location of this resort - views, easy access, walking distance to restaurants, and shopping. Rooms were clean; bathroom with vanity separate from shower (a real treat when you travel with girls!) Nice clubhouse area with game rooms (pool, ping pong, video), decent workout equipment in the gym, tennis courts, racquetball, and library area (I enjoyed playing the baby grand piano and my daughter spent a morning working on homework here). Outdoor pool area very nice with ample seating and shade. Also an indoor pool and 2nd outdoor pool off clubhouse. The resort is at the end of the Uptown strip, so never crowded out front. Breakfast was convenient (0630-1000) with adequate choices for all tastes. Staff was friendly and always available. We considered a few other hotels, and even checked them out while we were in town - none were as well located or offered the same value.

What a great place to stay. Very clean hotel. Attention to detail! Friendly polite staff. Awesome Red Rock views from Hotel. Close to everything. Shops and restaurants right outside the front of hotel. Hot breakfast served every morning. Food is delicious. Breakfast serving times are very accommodating. Sleep in a little. They serve it until 10

    « AMAZING »

This is one of the nicest hotels I've been to in a long time. The amenities here are indescribable. You have views of the reck rock mountains, a pool, a full hot conplimentary breakfast buffet, and a clubhouse with another pool which is connected indoor and outdoor. There are also steam and saunas for use. The rooms and clean and kept up. There are also villas that you can stay in connected to a creek on site. It is absolutely beautiful here! Will definately stay here again next time I come to Sedona. Absolutely stunning.

    « Sedona 4 Night Stay »

Room was spacious, comfy beds, outstanding Balcony with gorgeous View. Pools and Grounds much larger and prettier than expected. Breakfast was fantastic - fresh fruit, granola, yogurt, juice, waffles, eggs, bacon and sausage I will take over a hard continental buns or no breakfast offered at all. Room was clean, loved the in room Keurig, microwave and fridge, all staff encountered were extremely pleasant and accommodating. At the end of town, perfect for walking to shops and restaurants, and heading out for a drive North to the canyons and parks. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Its a Best Western, not the Ritz Carlton and Sedona on the Upper side is expensive no matter where you stay, I thought it was priced right for room size and amenities for sure. Thank you for making my vacation with my husband and 12 year old son, pleasant and enjoyable.

    « Not what I expected »

For this 8 night trip, we spent nights in six different hotels - four of them were Best Westerns either plus or premiere. We were very pleased with our other BW hotels, but the Arroyo Robles was not the same quality as the other BW hotels we visited. The location was very good, the Front Desk and Lobby were small but nice. However, our room was a bit small and tired (It didn't live up to the pictures I had seen online.) The vanity with sink was outside the bathroom, and it was small and outdated. The bathroom was very small. We also didn't care for the open air hallways. That said, the Front Desk staff was friendly and helpful - especially Johnielle (sp?). The buffet breakfast - which was included - was decent. Our time there was limited to one night. Since we did a tour the day we were leaving, and the weather wasn't cooperating, we didn't get a chance to visit the creek which is part of the property.

    « Wonderful experience »

Family loved this hotel and location! Super clean everywhere and I'm REALLY fussy about this - sheets, towels, around pool, parking lot, corners of room...Very pretty and lots of lovely detail everywhere. Flowers, statues, water features, tile work, petrified wood on display. Kids loved the pool and clubhouse that you can access. Clubhouse had ping pong, air hokey, another pool. We loved our red rock views - perfect to see every morning and at sunset! We did not realize the forest fires and their impact on the views--luckily it usually cleared by afternoon. Location is ideal - can walk out the door to local shops and eating establishments. Also, it is on the end of Sedona close to Oak Creek Canyon, Flagstaff, Slide Rock and Grand Canyon. All very easy day trips. Sedona is a beautiful, bucket list kind of place to visit. I did not know even from reviews and pictures what a place of awe this city presents! God's great work!

« Service, comfort and an unbeatable view »

We stayed with our grown kids in a villa. Very comfortable and home-like. Balconies everywhere so that we could enjoy Oak Creek and the Red Rock Mountains. Desk staff were friendly and personable. Housekeeping staff were attentive and did great work. The location right in uptown Sedona made it so easy to enjoy yet, when in our rooms, we felt secluded and comfortable.

    « Clean and Consistent »

I have been to Sedona 4 times and this is my place of choice when I come to Sedona. Prices are competitive, rooms ares clean and updated. The staff are knowledgable and professional with their knowledge of "things to do in Sedona". Every other year I will be back here.

Our stay at the Best Western Arroyo Roble in Sedona was fantastic. The staff was friendly and caring, the views from our room facing the mountains was awesome. This property is located very near many of the restaurants, shops and bars in Sedona and is walking distance to most. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Sedona.

« Three nights in Sedona »

We chose this hotel because it was on the main street and we could walk to many restaurants and shops. Parking can be a bit of a hassle so this worked for us. A very nice breakfast buffet is included with the room and is especially nice on Sunday. Our room included a coffee maker and microwave. The amenities were plentiful and we found everything to be clean. The front desk was extremely helpful and answered all our questions. The facility has 2 outdoor pools and 1 indoor pool or you can use the creek. We were very busy so did not spend a lot of time at the pool area.

My sister and I planned a girls trip with our mom. She LOVES Sedona, and visits often. We have never stayed at this hotel and we weren't sure what to expect. we LOVED it. you can walk down to the creek or to the garden, they have grills to cook your own food, they had gluten free options for breakfast (allergies) rooms were super clean, bed was real comfortable, hotel was cute. Walking distance to everything, we didn't have to drive at all, lots of parking. overall we loved it, and will be back.

« Book a Red Rock View Room »

If you are looking to get out and explore the beauty of Sedona, I highly recommend this hotel. My partner and I stayed in a ground level room with a patio, facing beautiful views of Snoopy Rock. We were centrally located in Uptown Sedona with plenty of dining and shopping options. When we went hiking everything was a 5-20 min drive, depending on where we went. The room we stayed in was exceptionally clean, quiet, and had plenty of extra amenities. The rest of the hotel was similar, with friendly staff and plenty of places to lounge and enjoy the views. The complimentary breakfast was pretty impressive as well.

« Would stay here again! »

Great views of the red rocks. Perfect location in Sedona if you want to walk to shops, tours and restaurants from hotel. Clean rooms. Check-in was easy and staff very friendly and helpful. The only drawback is there were lots of steps / a steep hill to walk up from the general parking area to the hotel. And there were steps to access the pool.

« This is our third time visiting Arroyo Roble Resort »

We really like this resort for many reasons. This is a sister resort to the Arroyo Roble BW hotel and is a time share. It is situated on a spacious property along Oak Creek in the center of town. The units are spacious with two fire places and two and 1/2 bath that sleeps six people. The units are 1400 sq. ft. The property is kept up and has beautiful trees which create a lovely canopy adjacent to Oak Creek. There is so much for the kids to do with both an indoor and outdoor pool which is heated, games room, pink pony, racket ball, tennis courts and two pool tables. There is a nice jungle gym type play area for kids over looking the creek plus an area to play horse shoes. Throughout the resort there are barbecues and tables. It is set up beautifully and well maintained. The units are clean and updated even though they are older. I love the location in the middle of the older part of Sedona where the action is but you feel very secluded along side the creek. The staff is very friendly and responsive to your needs. We are here for my husband's birthday with another couple but will be coming back in August with our three grandkids. We have traded in to this complex through RCI. I highly recommend this resort. It is located behind it's sister property which is a BW hotel. This property was family owned and they developed it as a hotel and timeshare. If you are looking for a great place to stay in Sedona which is close to many attractions this will meet your needs. The units are well stocked with a full and have washer and dryers. There are two bedrooms, one with a master with fire place and ensuite bathroom with shower and jacuzzi tub. The other bedroom is twin bedded with adjoining bath with shower. Downstairs is an open Family Room with dining area and queen size sleeper sofa and a powder room. Both Bedrooms have balconies with seating. The participate in Order Inn service which makes room service available. We used it the first night we arrived.

« Safe, central and scenic »

I stayed by myself for four nights and woke up to a beautiful view every morning. The room was spacious, nice bath products and towels. The breakfast was very good quailty and variety with a rotating hot entree plus cereals, fruit, juice and hot drinks, waffle station and other baked goodies. Free parking is nice in the busy uptown Sedona area. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Very safe for a solo lady traveler. I was comfortable eating alone and returning to my room at night.

    « Fantastic.. »

My family of three stayed in the Creekside Villas for 3 nights and everything was perfect. The Villa was beautifully renovated and in a perfect location backing up to Oak Creek. The hotel itself is located at the far end of town right before the road going up to Oak Creek Canyon. The views from the hotel are amazing and the breakfast was great. You can walk to everything you need. Don't hesitate to stay in the villas. i can't comment on the rest of the rooms but from what I saw they looked like they had great views as well.

« The Staff, Property, Grounds, Location, Housekeeping, Breakfast Outstanding ! »

As a retired hotelier... lets start by saying I have an exceptional eye for detail relating to a quality hotel experience. I will make this short, choose this hotel. This was my fifth trip to Sedona and my best. My years with an upscale large hotel chain left me a little jaded and hard to please at anything under a four star hotel level. This property left me feeling I was perhaps in Tuscany or Barcelona.... after a four night stay in May. Nicole the hotel AGM promised me I had made a good choice during the reservation process and they did not disappoint. I was required to make a last minute shift of dates due to a family funeral and Nick accommodated my requests quickly and efficiently. Friends, it is late and I am tired so forgive the brevity... The hotel physical architecture and design reminds one of a boutique European hotel. The quality of the staff, their smiles and readiness to please is found everywhere in this hotel. The breakfast provided leaves nothing to desire... The staff makes absolutely certain that everything is perfect. No paper napkins and plates or plastic utensils.. The food is presented to perfection.. every little nuance attended to.... The hotel is actually at the end of a long and fun section of town with shops, restaurants, entertainment galore... Parking is on three tiers and can take a little getting used to... but with a little and planning, any heavy lifting can be done before parking at the hotel entrance. We occupied room 507, affording us a mystical view of the Red Rocks with the sounds of water flowing below in the garden area. Each night was a spectacle in the sky including a full moon on our last night. From our deck we could watch nature including, birds of prey patrolling the sky in search of a fine meal. We were visited by Ravens soaring by and serenaded by birds each morning. We cherished leaving the slider open all night and the cooler evening temperatures were a dream as we return to the coming summer in Florida. The hotel was priced in the upper tier of this type of property, but worth the extra rates because of the overall experience, at the end of the day... there is a good value/delivery relationship... This hotel is an excellent choice and I give them a very rare for me.... Five Star rating... Congratulations to the management for a job well done.... !!!!

    « Wow what a view! »

We booked our two night stay through a third party with our two teens at the Best Western Plus in west side Sedona, not to be confused with BW Arroyo. We booked here because of the reviews, complimentary hot breakfast, spectacular views and because it was away from town, better for star gazing. I emailed prior and called 4 days before to confirm our room reservation with a view and was told we were in a second floor terraced room. I was elated! When we arrived, we were given a parking lot view, first floor. This being perhaps a once in a lifetime trip, I was devastated. Sedona is about views even if you aren't in your room. Since I didn't know the name of the girl I spoke with confirming our room prior to departing and since I booked through a third party, I was given attitude by the older woman behind the desk who reminded me of my mistakes. The implication was that I never called with a room request and I must have spoken with a ghost since there was no record of my call. They could not accommodate us, they were booked solid. After speaking to the manager, who held a higher customer service attitude and professionalism, we were told that BW Arroyo had a room with a view that was available and she we would give us a complete refund. Arroyo is in the main drag of shops and restaurants in downtown Sedona and its rooms face magnificent red rock mountains, with well appointed rooms, beautifully maintained grounds, pools, fountains, and best of all walking distance to everything like ice cream, shopping and the ever popular Pink Jeep Tours. The complex is quiet, peaceful and well cared for. Our teens enjoyed the game rooms playing ping pong, pool, and shuffle board something that west side BW does not have. The staff are kind, happy and generous in spirit from the front desk, to the grounds keepers, maids and breakfast servers. Bottom line, this was a heaven sent error and ended up being a blessing in disguise. Many thanks to Jenn the manager at BW West for making it possible and providing a refund and finding us a room at Arroyo.

« Outstanding in every Way!!! »

Everything about our stay was wonderful! From the time we checked in to the time we checked out! This hotel is in an amazing location - walking distance to restaurants, shops, jeep tours. The grounds are fabulous, beautifully kept and backed up to the creek. We hiked down to the water and all along the creek (great spot to share a bottle of wine). There are so many amenities offered by this hotel: billiards, pools and spas (both outdoors and indoors), tennis, barbques, to name a few. The room had a wet bar, mini refrigerator, microwave and a most comfortable bed and sitting area. The complimentary breakfast is absolutely amazing! I had to compliment the chef for his amazing eggs (like a souffle) and amazing presentation of delicious food. I will definitely return with family and would recommend this hotel/resort to anyone going to Sedona. You will not be disappointed!

« Very comfortable time share unit »

We were invited to stay here with another couple who reserved a 2 bedroom time share unit. Beautiful grounds close to the creek and quite comfortable for the four of us. A very short stroll to Main Street shopping and restaurants, tour rentals, etc. It is a bit dated interior but that did not hinder a very enjoyable stay with beautiful scenery anywhere you go. Each bedroom had a balcony to take in the view and enjoy your coffee or cocktail. There is a very pretty central courtyard accessible to each unit through the back patio door with a fountain that flows 24/7 to add to the serene embiance. There are several bbq's, tables, and adult swing as well. The only thing I would suggest you bring is an iPod/music speaker device. The receiver did not pick up any reception in our unit. TV was fine. A nice place to relax between your sightseeing adventures.

Great staff, amazing views from most bedrooms. Comfy bed. Simple, but clean rooms. Breakfast was pretty tasty, too. Best of all, location could not be beat; at the tail end of the main street in Sedona, next to cafes, shops, bars, etc. Very convenient.

    « Outstanding Hotel »

This hotel was clean, well appointed, with staff that are extremely friendly and bend over backwards to help their guests. We had a room with a breathtaking view of the red rocks. Having said all of that, perhaps this hotel's best attribute was it's free breakfast. This is not your ordinary free breakfast that hotels offer. This one could be served in a 5 star restaurant. They actually have a chef behind the line making dishes to order. The dining room staff was as helpful as the rest of the staff. I wanted apple juice one morning. It wasn't available so one of the dining room attendants left the dining room and 5 minutes later I had my apple juice. This Best Western is a 5 star hotel with a restaurant to match. Oh, it is conveniently located to the center of town. We walked.

« Very nice facility, comfortable room, awe-inspiring views »

This is a very well-run facility. The staff is accommodating and friendly. Our room was quite comfortable and quiet, and the view out our window (on the East side of the building, facing the rock formations) was incredible. We could have spent weeks here just watching the light and shadows changing on the very interesting geologic formations (but unfortunately we were only able to stay for one night). The free breakfast was very good as well. Our room was pretty expensive by ordinary standards, but it was worth it. Would like to come back here sometime and stay for a few days, preferably during the off-season when the town is not so crowded and noisy.

    « Sedona, Arizona »

The Best Western Plus Arroyo Roble Hotel & Creekside Villas offer a breathtaking view of the red rocks, the grounds are immaculate. The property is situated at he North end of Uptown, with shops, restaurants, and activities all within walking distance. The breakfast at this property is very good, with a wide variety of options. We would recommend this property!

« First visit to Sedona to Get Married »

We stayed in the two bedroom cottage which we chose for privacy and the expansive red rock views that we had read about. The cottage was just about perfect and the views were AMAZING! The entire resort was very clean and beautifully maintained and the free breakfast was delicious. Location could not be better! The staff was accommodating with a minor issue we had and handled it professionally. Our biggest disappointment was the lack of privacy with the cottage. At all hours of day and night we could be sitting on our private porch and hotel staff and guests would just walk thru our driveway around our car and behind the cottage on the pathway to the pool. At times it was startling to have a stranger just appear in our yard as we were enjoying the porch. We had children that would look into the windows and knock on the doors and take off as well. I would suggest a private key swipe at the back gate for cottage guests to restrict access. In addition we had informed the hotel staff we were getting married on Friday. On Friday just as we were trying to relax and get ready with hair/makeup and photography the grounds crew decided to mow, weed wack and leave blow the front yard and area surrounding the cottage. It was anything but peaceful and a little disappointing. Overall we loved Sedona and the hotel . I feel most of the reviews on here are accurate and I have suggested this place to friends and family already. I would stay again myself. We were just disappointed in the lack of quiet and privacy esp on or wedding day!

« Wondeful location and view »

We decided at the last minute to spend one night here and certainly did not regret it. The hotel is classical but our room very well appointed with an excellent view of the mountains around Sedona. The breakfast was a disappointment which was a shame as the buffet was good. The problem was they were out of fresh eggs and not very apologetic about it and the coffee was undrinkable.

    « Wonderful Surprise »

We added an extra night in Sedona unexpectedly and ended up at the Best Western Plus Arroyo. What a great surprise it was! The location is wonderful, with access to the creek to explore, an easy stroll to many great restaurants, a fantastic set-up of pools and beautiful views. To top it off this hotel had the friendliest staff that I have yet to encounter in a hotel. I only wish we had more nights to enjoy this spot, but we will be back.

« You have to See and Go »

You have to go, stay, and see this Best Western because it is a Wow! The Staff is outstanding, the property is beautiful and you have fabulous views of the Red Rocks which is of course a must. It's convenient because it is Downtown Sedona, you can't ask for anything more or better. When you go to Sedona, you have to stay and see. The Rooms/Cottage was the very best. We stayed in the Cottage and it is really a ranch style home, and it is a home not just a cottage. You can sit on the front porch and look at the Red Rocks. It was the Very Best. Don't miss this opportunity, you won't be sorry.

    « Great stay »

Excellent option for a stay in Sedona. Very centrally located. Our North room was very nice with a lovely deck and great view of the red rocks. Breakfast included was a nice plus with lots of choices. All staff were very helpful, but breakfast room team of Gil, Donald and Robert did an outstanding job of keeping things stocked, cleaning up and just being friendly. Would stay here again.

« Nice hotel for a Sedona vacation »

My family of 4 stayed at this hotel while we visited Sedona. It is a decent hotel. It is slightly over-priced, but then, Sedona is a very touristy town indeed! The room was clean. The front desk staff were helpful and gave me a map of Sedona with advice about the highlights and what to see etc. The breakfast in the morning is included and was very good. We got to see "Snoopy Rock" while we ate our breakfast!

Room clean and quiet. Free breakfast a plus! Coffee machine available all day and delicious. Delucious chocolate chip cookies! conveniently located. Comfortable bed! Would definitely stay there again! Friendly staff.

« Perfect for our needs »

The hotel was perfect for our needs. It's situated on the edge of town, with a beautiful view of the red rocks! The staff was so friendly and helpful, especially Brittney in housekeeping! We had to check out a day early because of a health issue, and the Front Desk staff were helpful and accommodating, which made a difficult situation easier. We would definitely stay here again.

    « AWESOME SERVICE!!!! Recommend »

The staff was awesome!!!! The shuttle service could not be any easier and the location of the hotel is convenient. Beds were so comfortable! Will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone!

« Amazing View and Amazing Value »

The view was superior! It was very clean and the value was outstanding! It's location couldn't be better. It is only steps away from the creek and shopping! I would definitely use them again. We had a great time.

« Beautiful location, comfortable hotel, friendly and courteous staff »

Incredible views of the Red Rocks of Sedona from the north building suites. Clean, comfortable and well-maintained room. Easy walking distance to most places in Sedona. Located on the main road 89A, yet very quiet. Excellent breakfast every morning courtesy of Gil, Robert and Donald. Front desk staff were friendly and courteous; even arranging a tour company to pick us up at the hotels front door.

    « Beautiful location! »

I booked the Best Western in Sedona for a long weekend with my mom and my sister. We booked it because we would be able to get a large enough room with a kitchen as well. The location is great but I didn't feel that the facilities/hotel justified the high price. Do not expect a 4/5 star experience.

« Mothers Day In Sedona »

1st off let me say that Robert, Gil and Donald in the breakfast room are FABULOUS! We were the 1st people there and they greeted my Mom with the nicest smile and warm words. We loved that they talked to us about our stay and the areas they came from. The breakfast was delicious and my Mom said she wanted to go back and just talk to them because they were so nice. All the food was fresh and hot. As far as the room goes, it was very clean and we watched the sunrise right in front of our patio. We could not have asked for a better weekend. Jonielle from the front desk checked us in and was extremely pleasant as well. When we ever come back to Sedona we will choose this hotel again!

    « Sedona Vacation »

The Best Western in Sedona was the best hotel of the four my wife and I stayed at during our week-long trip to Arizona. It beat out the Holiday Inn Express in Scottsdale, the Drury Inn in Flagstaff, and the Courtyard Marriott in Mesa- by a long shot! The staff (Nick and the general manager at the front desk) was very accommodating right from the start, allowing us to change our room to a more family-friendly setup, which happened to be on the canyon side of the hotel. The breakfast staff of Gil, Donald and Robert were five-star caliber! It was as if our family woke up and walked downstairs to eat breakfast in a family member's kitchen.

    « Beautiful location »

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was great and the grounds were beautiful. It was very quiet at night, but we were on the 5th floor facing the backside/pool. We thought the price was high. The pool was colder than expected and not always very clean, (although with spring, there was a lot of wind which didn't help).

    « Stunning Views »

We stayed in the main hotel 5-story building with a balcony room view of the red rocks scenery. Great views watching the moon rise over the red rocks in the evening was spectacular. Great photo shoots. I highly recommend this location for the views and close to the uptown restaurants and shops. Full hot breakfast included with stay 7 days a week.

« We always stay here and it's always good »

My wife and I stayed at the Best Western Plus Arroyo Roble during a recent visit to Sedona. We've been to Sedona several times before and always stay here, and we always have a good experience. We always stay in one of the North Signature Rooms, which are in a separate 5-room building on the northeast side of the main hotel building, with their own parking area. There are also separate creekside villas and a cottage. The hotel is conveniently located in Uptown Sedona, next to the Sedona Arts Center. Our room had a balcony with a great red rock view to the southeast (all the hotel rooms have a view), as well as a gas fireplace, small fridge, and microwave. The bed was pretty comfortable, though we've slept on better. The towels in the bathroom and bed linens were very good. We never used the climate control and rarely watched the large TV. The hotel provides complimentary breakfast, with a decent selection of both hot and cold items. Breakfast is served in a building next to the hotel (southwest side). The breakfast service staff are very efficient and friendly, as are the other hotel staff. Although breakfast is served, there are no other dining (or drinking) options at the hotel, but plenty of options within walking distance. The Best Western Arroyo Roble has been consistently good and we intend to stay here whenever we return to Sedona. If you're looking to stay in Uptown Sedona, you should definitely consider staying here.

    « Lovely stay »

A quiet and nicely appointed room on the main street in Sedona, with stunning views and a spa-like layout. We really enjoyed staying here. Everything was so easy to walk to. Nice breakfast buffet included.

« Great place to stay in Sedona »

We stay here the last week of April. It is centrally located near shops and restaurants. Claudia at the front desk was amazing; she was very helpful in recommending what to do and where to eat. Breakfast was very good and convenient. The breakfast staff (Robert, Donald, and Gilbert) were great, they went out of their way to find a candle for my daughter's muffin to celebrate her birthday.

    « Huge villas »

Great timeshare stay - we were refugees from another resort in Sedona and following a request to RCI to move us we very much appreciated this resort. The villas are huge and fully kitted out - lovely setting and very quiet. Nice to be down by the creek - no views as such from the villas, but all very peaceful. It was cold a few nights and we appreciated the fireplace. This is an older style resort, and the units are quite dated and dark, however, housekeeping was very good and we had everything we needed. Hot tub was nice, as was the pool. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Free wi fi but we found it very slow (if it worked at all) and reported it to maintenance. Note if you are an RCI exchanger then there are designated units - the creek side units are for owners and rental - which is a shame as they had a lovely position.

    « Peacefully beautiful »

This hotel is in an amazing location, in uptown Sedona on Oak Creek with gorgeous Red Rock Views...we had a wonderful room with a fireplace and balcony with red rock views o It was a "North signature room" in a small building with 6 or 8 units. I slept deeply and well, and enjoyed every minute...walking distance to the Cowboy Club restaurant (go and enjoy the amazingness!)...this is a great place for a peaceful stay in Sedona...highly recommended!

« Great spot. Nice people »

Breakfast by Gil, Donald, and Robert! Very nice- these guys are great! Good food, excellent service, spic and span clean. These guys alone are a reason to pick this place. We stayed on fifth floor, the views are incredible

    3
« Great location but expensive »

Hotels.com messed up my reservation but the hotel was able to get me a room anyway. The location is good, right at the end of uptown Sedona so you can walk to shops and restaurants. However, it is really pricey and I don't think it warrants such a high price. Room was nice but nothing special. I would recommend staying at a cheaper hotel or an expensive resort.

« Overall, fit the whole families needs »

After many reviews researched, Best Western is what we decided to go with. I've stayed at many mediocre Best Western locations -due to the price. This one definitely outweighs the others I've stayed at. Free breakfast definitely helped, seeing that our days of hiking started early and started our days off right. I might add that the people working were polite and I noticed how hard they worked to keep things running smoothly. For the 1st time with BW, I never experienced food running low, or out for that matter. The front desk workers were always helpful and ready to answer questions. The location was perfect for us.The hotel was at the very end of the shopping area but was still walking distance to everything, locally. We had a balcony that overlooked the mountains. It was worth the upgrade and was just beautiful. The kids were thrilled! The weather was colder than normal so the outdoor walk to/from the breakfast area and the indoor pool area was a bit chilly but to no fault of the hotel. I would definitely refer this hotel and would return myself!!

« Nice Hotel in Uptown »

The Best Western Plus Arroyo Roble is located on the Main Street of "Uptown Sedona" convenient to shops, restaurants & pubs. It's comfortable - but not special. The hotel provides access to a pool, jacuzzi & fitness room on the property. A full breakfast is included - more than adequate. Parking onsite is free. But internet access is inconsistent & generally slow. The hotel is not inexpensive - so you're paying for the location.

« Best of everything in Sedona and reasonably priced. »

Wow. Here's what we loved about this hotel: 1. It is in the heart of "Uptown Sedona" with cute shops and restaurants, but still very quiet and private. 2. The views! As soon as you we opened up our hotel room door - we were looking right at the beautiful views. It looked like a painting. We were looking out to the pool and and it is beautiful. 3. Very decent free buffet style breakfast each morning included.

    « A Wonderful Stay »

The Best Western is a great hotel and right in the heart of Sedona! It's a quick walk to shops and restaurants. It's also a quick drive to various state parks, Cathedral Rock, Chapel of the Christ Church, etc. The hotel staff were great and the pool and other amenities (fitness center, game room, etc.)were fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel.

« Great sevive and great view »

The receptionist is very accommodating and friendly, the view from your room and balcony are fantastic. The kitchen area was very clean with plenty of breakfast items available. This place is centrally located in town with plenty of shops and restaurants and fun adventures available. I would recommend this hotel to anybody who would enjoy it as much as I did.

    « great breakfast »

Nice property, a bit pricey but our room was great. Virtually private patio and lawn. Breakfast was tasty and very convenient. next time may try one of the villas by the creek. now just filling space to be able to hit 200 characters so I can finish this survey. One for the suggestion box is don't force a character minimum when I am taking my time to write nice things

    « Excellent »

Excellent hotel! The breakfast was Great. The Hotel was very clean. We could walk to dinner. The views of the red rocks from our room was very peaceful. We had an amazing time swimming in the indoor/outdoor pool and spending time in the hot tub. The hotel is not too far from some great hiking trails as well.

    5
    « Loved the 2 bedroom units »

The two bedroom two story accommodations are in the back of the property towards the creek. The units sleep 6 with 2 1/2 baths. Perfect for a larger party. There is a washer/dryer and full kitchen. I found it very comfortable and well anointed. We had to call the front desk once and they were very accommodating. Bathroom had so many towels which is not always the case with a hotel. Location is good to access the main street of Sedona. Breakfast was good. Try the granola.

« Fabulous Views and Excellent Staff »

We stayed at this hotel based on reviews online and were not disappointed. Make sure you spend the extra money and get the red rock view. The town view overlooks a very busy, touristy street while the red rock view shows exactly why you came all the way to Sedona, AZ.. The view from our balcony was so peaceful and beautiful, we just sat there with a glass of wine and watched the sun set over the glorious rock formations. Don't save money on the room.... save it somewhere else. The staff was incredibly helpful. Hotels.com completely screwed up our reservation and the receptionist took care of it with no questions and no hassle. She also recommended a fabulous restaurant up on a bluff which had a shuttle service so we could have another glass of wine and not drive in the crazy Sedona traffic.

« AMAZING view!!Great hotel in central location in uptown. »

Great rooms and friendly staff. Rooms spacious with balconies overlooking the red rocks. Breathtaking. Breakfast included. They did not have room service which would have been helpful for me on this trip. Quick walk to uptown. Pools were nice and clubhouse was great.

« Perfect location with spectacular views »

This is the best hotel place to stay. Each room has a private balcony with spectacular views red rocks. The grounds on the hotel are beautiful and they have a nice heated pool. Plus the location is perfect. You can walk to the river, shops and restaurants.

« We stayed at the Arroyo Roble Resort, Creekside Villas. »

Assuming you're coming in from Phoenix, 2 hours south, to get to the Villas, you drive north through town to the start of Oak Creek Canyon and turn right before you hit the Best Western and drive down a steep road until you reach the bottom of the hill. The Villas are inside a gated area. The buildings look clean and well maintained, as does the grounds. The Villas are very spacious, as many reviews have said, with a large Kitchen, Livingroom with Sleeper couch and 2 chairs, TV & Video, gas fireplace and dining area, plus a half bath next to the stairs in the hall on the 1st floor. There are glass sliding doors that have dark, heavy curtains you can close at night, that lead to a patio with a table and 4 chairs off the back. The second floor has 2 bedrooms; a Master Suite to the back of the unit with a king sized bed, plenty of drawer space, a nice sized closet, a second gas fireplace, sitting area with TV and video, and another sliding glass door that leads to a balcony with table and 2 chairs. There is a very large bathroom with 2 sinks, large stand up shower (Great Pressure) and separate large Jacuzzi tub (for one) and lots of mirrors. There's also a second bedroom in the front of the unit with 2 single beds and sliding glass doors leading to another balcony, facing the front of the Villa, plus a second bath in the hallway with shower stall. There is free Wi-Fi to all guests, and the lamps in the living room have USB ports for charging laptops, tablets, and phones. Channel 16 on the TV runs a 90 minute loop on what's available locally. And there's also a free app, which lists events and local info, but it's limited. Although we did't have time to use them, there are 2 connected pools, inside and outside available for guests, as well as exercise and game rooms. So far, the only negative I see to this place is the walk out of here. It's all uphill (and I mean hill). We found that if you can make it to the neighboring parking garage, there's access to an elevator (in a dark hallway). Try to take the stairs that start 1/4 of the way up the drive. They really should look into either a few more steps or some kind of shuttle service, at least to help people go up the stairs. And of course there's always the option to drive up, park your car on the street and then walk the town. The views are nothing less of spectacular. Bring lots of film or upgrade to a larger SD card. A 64GB will usually let you take 4000 photos. I also have a backup card, just in case I fill this one. (I took close to 800 photos, and my wife has photos too)

    « Family reunion »

This is our second family reunion there and both times were wonderful. It was peaceful and beautiful. The courtyard had barbecue pits and the condos were well stocked. We sat on the patio most of the time and just visited. A marvelous place to stay when in a group. A little pricey but still a good time. Just off the main drag of shops and restaurants.

« Great view, gracious staff, aged room »

The location and view were second to none. Also, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The bed was also really comfortable. I was as pleased with our room. The location and view were second to none. Also, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The bed was also really comfortable. I was as pleased with our room. « NAU Parents, This is where you want to stay! You deserve to stay here! »

After four years of moving in/out child, parent weekends, etc. and paying for overpriced hotels in Flagstaff. (Flagstaff hotels increase their prices during NAU events and booked up early). Finally we decided to stay in Sedona for NAU 's graduation May 2015 and chose The Best Western Plus Arroyo Roble Hotel. The hotel has a great location and is not too far of a drive to Flagstaff (and it was snowing during graduation). This is a beautiful property. The rooms are truly luxurious! We had family with us, and stayed in a creekside townhouse villa. (Hint: Take the master bedroom for yourself and let the inlaws have the other room.) While the property is a 'resort', I liken it to a 'retreat'. I have stayed at many 5 star properties and the Best Western Plus Arroyo Roble is a real contender. This hotel also ranks 5 stars for hospitality. Every hotel personnel we met, welcomed us with smiles and treated us kindly, from the manager -Thank You Lonnie Lillie, to the front desk, the cooks, and the maids. Breakfast was included and so delicious. If you are flying and not renting a car, you can take Arizonia Shuttle to/from the Phoenix airport and to/from NAU. I do have one regret; and that is we didn't stay here the many trips to NAU before and waited till graduation to stay here. You don't have to look further for a hotel for NAU events. Whether, you're celebrating getting your child into college or celebrating your child graduating from college. You've paid tuition, paid housing, paid fees, etc. This is for you. Stay here. You've earned it!

« Great location in E. Sedona, tight bathroom, parking is limited »

Great location on east side of Sedona, walking distance from shopping/restaurants. Two issues: 1) Bathroom layout is odd; 2/3 of room squeezes in the tub/toilet together tight next to each other with the door opening right in front of toilet. Yet, the other 1/3 of the room is empty space. 2) Parking is limited. When we went out for dinner/evening events, we had to park far below hotel entrance, near condos, as all spots were taken. Note: Breakfast is very good, service excellent, but it is held in a separate building across the parking lot.

    4
« Great place for a get away »

Our room had a gas fireplace and an amazing view of the red rocks from the balcony. We really liked it, and it was an easy walk to the shops and restaurants. Breakfast was awesome. I would stay there again.

    5
« In the Heart of the Village »

Loved the location of the Best Western Plus. The village is walking distance. Went to the art galleries, shops, and specialty stores on the main drag. Most of the hotels are away from the center of town. A few dollars more however to stay here. But with a Best Western you know what you'll get so I use them sometimes. From the first time I visited Sedona as a small town it has really grown commercially. But still a beautiful place to see. Has a warmth of energy that makes one feel well.

    4
    « great location »

Located in the heart of shops, restaurants, tours, etc. Beautiful location and views with mountains, creek and wooded area. Great complimentary breakfast. Our room was facing street and it got a little noisy in the morning from traffic. Clean and up kept rooms, property and friendly staff. Do not take advice from the TV tourist channel. We went to a restaurant recommended that was not good and a trail that would be great in the summer but not in Feb. when we were there. We would definitely stay here again.

« Wonderful place to stay in Sedona, Arizona »

We had a lovely room with a magnificent view from the balcony. The hotel staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and points of interest. The hotel breakfast was not only good, with all kinds of choices, but the staff in the dining room was wonderful. The hotel is situated well......walk to restaurants and stores. This was a great place to stay!

    « Couldn't get closer to town »

What else could you want? The villas are located in the creek canyon. We stayed in the Creekside villas and walked in to town nearly every night. The villa that we were in had not been updated but they were working on a few the week we were there so I assume they would be getting to ours soon. The pool was nice but we spent most of our days hiking and didn't take advantage of the grounds. The front desk was very kind and extremely accommodating.

« Beautiful views of the red rocks »

we booked the room on Air Miles points and were very happy we did. The hotel was close to shops and restaurants, and had amazing views of the red rocks. In addition to the hotel pool, we had access to a clubhouse with an indoor/outdoor pool, pool table, ping pong, shuffleboard, foosball and tennis courts. Free breakfast was pretty good and the front desk also gave me a corkscrew to open my wine.Would definitely love to return.

    4
    « Beautiful Sedona »

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was conveniently located in Sedona and we could walk to most places, for lunch and to take a jeep tour. The room was comfortable and clean with a nice view. It's nice to take a walk down to the creek - a peaceful spot in a busy place.

    4
« Efficiently run hotel with nice views from rooms »

This hotel is located right on the main highway in Sedona; a plus in terms of convenience to restaurants and shops, a minus in that its setting is commercial. But the rooms are well-insulated and have pretty mountain views, the free breakfasts tasty and copious, the parking convenient, and all runs quite smoothly. Helpful, pleasant desk staff.

    2
« OUTSTANDING VIEW ... BUT LITTLE ELSE! »

Sedona is really a beautiful little town which is well worth visiting. Its 11,000 permanent inhabitants cater completely to millions of annual visitors. There are many Tour Companies offering hiking and jeep excursions, and many boutique stores selling original Indian artifacts, the usual T/shirts and hats, and hand made candles [which you can watch being made], + fine art. The weather is changeable and can be really chilly, so layers and a sweater + jacket are requirements. The Hotel itself is situated on the main street of 'up town', right in the middle of everything within walking distance. The villas which belong to the hotel, back onto 600' of breathtaking views, including a ravine and creek, along which you can hike. Our accommodation had to be large, to accommodate 4 adults and 2 children. For this reason we opted for a town house, or as they call it a villa. At $530 + tax per night, it was way overpriced! Not only was it a long walk to the main road, but the kids didn't like walking up the steep hill to get there! Shuttle Golf carts would have been appreciated. The villa itself was tired and dark and very much in need of renovations. The kitchen appliances were from the middle ages, and although it was supposed to be a completely equipped kitchen, there was no kettle for tea, only a coffee maker. The villa was dirty and the property was poorly kept! One example was a dirty sock that we discovered behind a chair in the corner of the bedroom. Although there is an indoor and outdoor pool, both were 'scummy' and in need of chemicals. A very loud furnace did not allow us to sleep. There were however, redeeming features. The front desk staff were lovely and very friendly. The hotel is obviously undergoing slow renovations. The Master bathroom was gorgeous and the 2 fireplaces were romantic. In our opinion not a Best Western PLUS. Breakfast was nothing special, just the usual, and we found a hair in our cup, at breakfast All in all, as travel experiences go, my rating would be 5 out of 10.

    5
« Very nice hotel with great views »

My wife and I stayed four nights at the Arroyo Roble in March/April 2016. We had a standard room and it was absolutely fine. Spacious, clean and quiet. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast fine and the hotel is nicely situated. If you fancy a breathtaking drive, turn right out of the hotel onto 89A North and go to Flagstaff. The scenery is amazing. In all, the Arroyo Roble ticked all of our boxes and we would certainly go there again.

    « Thank you »

For booking last minute, we received a very nice room. Our view was spectacular and the room was very clean. Ping pong with the kids was fun too! We enjoyed a nice breakfast, something for the whole family.

    « Spirit of Sedona »

This is a first class experience all the way, from the location, the room, the clubhouse, the breakfast, and the Oak Creek frontage to the caring and helpful staff. The might seem poetic, but after I arrived, as I was admiring the unimpeded view of the surrounding, majestic red rock mountains from my balcony, a monarch butterfly fluttered by beneath my perch, pursuing the colorful flowers that graced the fountain area. It was a wonderful hello to an inspiring area, and a perfect analogy to the spirit of the adventure supported by Best Western Arroyo Roble Hotel.

« Centrally Located With Lovely Setting »

My father and I stayed here for two nights over a busy holiday weekend. It was actually cheaper to stay in one of the hotel's two-bedroom townhomes, which are referred to as "villas," than book two separate rooms in the hotel portion. The townhome was very spacious, with the bedrooms and two baths on the upper level and a full kitchen and large living room with dining table on the 1st floor. The kitchen was very well-stocked: plates, mugs, wine glasses, flatware, baking trays, cookware, mixer, blender, full-size refrigerator, etc. There's also a washer and dryer, which we took advantage of since our stay in Sedona was the last part of a week-long trip. The hotel is centrally located, right at the north tip of uptown Sedona, where all the shops and restaurants, jeep tour operators, etc. are located. The only real downsides of the units were the price ($1300+ including taxes/fees for a two-night Easter weekend stay) and the fact that the townhomes are located in the lower section of the property, adjacent to the creek. While the site is quiet, peaceful and beautiful, the walk up the steep hill to reach the breakfast room and the main drag was tiresome after a while. For those with mobility issues, not the best choice. Also, our stay was so short that we didn't really utilize many of of the townhome's amenities, such as its fireplaces, full kitchen, spa tub, balconies from every room, etc. [One oddity: no option to rent a movie on TV although there was a DVD player.] In retrospect, we would have preferred staying in the main hotel portion, with easier and quicker access to the center of town and bedrooms on one level. This is a beautiful property and we'll definitely stay here again.

    « Breath Taking... »

Would have been 5 stars of not for the taxes. However the staff, the breakfast, and the beauty all around from the facility to the mountain views put my mind at rest... It let's you know there is a Creator.

    « Awesome Hotel »

I highly recommend this hotel for families, couples or groups of friends. We stayed in the cottage and it was a really great relaxing experience. We had my nephew and our son who really enjoyed the view and atmosphere. They spent more time enjoying mother nature and the Sedona town vs always glued to their phones. We all bonded hanging out in the cottage with beautiful views of the rocks. This hotel is walking distance of all the restaurants and Nick nack shops. If you want a tour with the Pink Jeeps, the front desk has packages and they will be happy to assist you. The staff from the front desk, ground keepers, house keeping to the cooks are all so friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming! The cleanliness of this hotel was cleaned as if it was their own home.Thank you to Eric for a wonderful experience and recommendations! Gilbert, Robert, and Donald thank you very much for breakfast, it was a wonderful spread and all so yummy! It was packed but you all were very organized and keeping the tables clean and following up on all your guest. That was impressive customer service! I forgot the lady's name who took care of our cottage Emilda maybe. Any ways, thank you very much for the cleanliness that makes it very welcome when I opened the door. We stayed here on March 29. Thank you ! This is a wonderful hotel to stay! We will be back!

« Great Location and Quality with a View »

This hotel met all our needs. We based in Sedona for three days to Explore the Grand Canyon and the surrounding area. The hotel is situated at the end of the main stretch of central Sedona, walking distance to shops and restaurants so you don't have to move your car during your stay. The room was clean, the beds very comfortable, and the balcony view overlooking the red rock scenery was breathtaking. The service was great. Housekeeping actually asks you to fill out a brief hanging card for your door, indicating when you would like housekeeping services and how much you would like (e.g. full service, or fresh towels and trash disposal). The breakfast is free: a full hot buffet and the coffee was remarkably good - something I haven't found at most free breakfasts at similar hotel chains. The property offers amenities that we took advantage of, including the pools, game room and the creekside walk. I recommend this hotel as the place to stay in Sedona.

    « Great Vacation! »

We enjoyed our stay and the location was excellent because we could walk to do all of our shopping, spa visit, dining and tours. Due to our being there during spring break there was a lot of people and traffic with no available parking so being able to leave our car at the hotel was huge.

« Best hotel in Sedona »

The Best Western PLUS Arroyo Roble Hotel and Creekside Villas is our favorite place to stay when in Sedona. The staff has excellent customer service and are very friendly. The hotel rooms are very comfortable and are very clean. The grounds are beautiful with fantastic views of the red rocks. The breakfast is wonderful with a large variety of fresh and healthy foods. The hotel has free parking and is located in uptown Sedona with easy convenience to restaurants and shopping.

« Great value, beautiful views. »

This is a very good hotel to use as a base for lots of day trips. The views are just gorgeous, the staff were extremely friendly, and they had one of the best (included) breakfast buffets for a mid-range chain hotel I think I've ever had. Don't skip the green chili salsa! So good..

« Great Location Beautiful Views. »

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Plus Arroyo. Great location in town, walked to many restaurants and shopping. Comfortable room and bed. Breakfast each morning was very good. The view from the room was spectacular. Room was clean and maintained each day, we stayed 5 nights. We did not really take advantage of the other amenities such the pools, spas, etc. We spent most of our days hiking and enjoying the Sedona area. Really enjoyed the area and the hotel.

« Beautiful red rock views right in the heart of town! »

This is the best place to stay for location and beautiful red rock views. You never have to get in your car to find a place to eat or walk the town. The hotel is immaculate and the staff is top notch. Lonnie the manager is the best. He made sure we had everything we needed as they were really booked up. The men that staff the breakfast area are incredible....always smiling and very friendly! Try the granola....I told them they'd should sell it in the lobby! Our room had a private balcony overlooking the pool and the red rocks and all I can say is WOW! You can also walk down to Oak Creek and sit on the benches and enjoy the sounds of the birds and the water. This place is a must if you visit Sedona. Make reservations as they fill up fast.

« Nice view of Red Rocks »

We were surprised that our room had a gorgeous view of Red Rocks. The staffs from front desk to room service were all friendly and nice. We really enjoyed our quality time here and definitely will go back again next year. Hopefully they can give us the same room ( room 401).

« Stunning in every way!!! »

The front lobby is small, but welcoming. After entering we were greeted by friendly faces, shown quickly through the check-in process in which a small glitch was easily and happily corrected, then whisked away to our room. This location really makes you think twice about the Best Western name, in a good way. It felt like we were staying in a hotel of a far higher price point. The room was spacious, well appointed with a new large flat screen, multiple fluffy pillows on each bed, a great city view, comfy mattresses, large plush towels, desk area, lots of outlets, and separate sink from bathroom which was great when getting ready for the day. Breakfast is included and can be described as Continental Plus, there was a selection of cereals, pastries, fruit, yogurt with toppings, breakfast meats, egg dishes and even hot made to order waffles. It was a great extra for this hotel. The property is what is stunning. The view of the red rock formations from the pool area is literally breath taking. There is a lovely fountain area for lounging, a nice sun patio with plenty of chairs and chaise to relax in, and the pool is small but clean and surrounded with well maintained plants and flowers. The one downside is that the sun sets in a way that the pool is shaded by around 5pm each evening ( at least during our visit in March) so that was a bummer. But all in all it is an amazing area. If you like you can take in the amenities of the connected time share buildings which are part of the same property. There is a game room great for teens/pre-teens, an indoor pool for swimming, tennis courts, and a short walk will take you to a very nice creek bed with gurgling water and a fantastic view of the red rock cliff sides. Location is amazing, walking distance to countless shops, great restaurants and more. A few minutes drive from tons more shopping, dining, tourist sites and spas. About 2 hours to the Grand Canyon, which was a scenic and easy drive. We left around 8am on a Wednesday, took our time going, enjoyed Grand Canyon state park for a few hours and were back again in time to enjoy the late afternoon poolside. I highly recommend.

« Great location, beautiful views »

This hotel has great views of the red rocks and access to Oak Creek yet when you walk out the front you are right in uptown Sedona - it was like the best of both worlds. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. We were very satisfied.

« Perfect place to stay in Sedona »

We stayed here two nights with our kids on our way back from the Grand Canyon. We had a king room with a pull out couch and a view. Bed was great but the view was AMAZING!! The hotel has a pool which my kids enjoyed in the afternoon both days. The breakfast that they serve is one of the best I have ever had at a hotel offering a complementary breakfast. They have a waffle station, fruit, some of the best yogurt I've ever had, egg casseroles and many more items. The location is great because it's uptown where you can walk to many great restaurants, shops as well as activities that you might want to try.

« Terrible Internet, Poor Breakfast »

I liked the physical properties of my room and the location of the hotel. But... at $300+ a night I expect to have usable Internet. Every day I called the Front Desk and the situation did not change for my entire three day stay. They reset their router and I did the same with the router in my room seveal times. Again, no change. The Front Desk went as far as to suggest it was "my" problem. I am pretty sure that when three different devices have the same problem, the issue is infrastructure. On another note, the breakfast could be better. The egg dishes are the standard mass produced item. I have had much better Best Western Plus breakfasts at Tusanyan and Zion... to name two comparable properties. Until the Internet issues are resolved, I would not recommend this property.

« Best Western is truly THE BEST! »

This hotel was and is simply the best! There are so many activities right on-site that we've never had available at other hotels - a creek, lots of grassy areas and awesome views! The rooms are the cherry on top they are clean, well appointed and provided us with a very good nights rest! The jet tub and 5-head shower were such a hit! Have to say we don't get to travel all that often it is a huge splurge and this hotel really gave us all that we wanted and then some! HIGHLY recommend it and we are immediately saving for our next trip hopefully sooner than later!

« Great place in Sedona »

We stayed in the motel because it is located in a shopping/dining district and has balconies with great views of the the red rocks. Rooms were quiet at night. Staff was heloful. Rooms and commons areas were clean. Breakfast was average.

« Great Place, Great View »

Loved this hotel. Wish we could have stayed longer and next time we will. The room was spacious and clean and the view of the Red Rocks was spectacular. The from desk staff was accommadating and provided some great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We were even steered toward a little sleepy town called Jerome which was a lot of fun.

    « A joke »

~$400 a room with no view and no balcony + noise from cars checking in. We arrived late and were told this was our only option! Very disappointed. When we asked for shower gel, we were told that they didn't have any. This hotel is totally overpriced.

« Creekside Villas at Arroyo Roble - everything you could want. »

We spent a week at a two bedroom vacation timeshare villa which is part of Arroyo Roble. This was booked through RCI, and is the best exchange we have ever gotten with them. It is a two story unit. The downstairs has a huge living area with a gas fireplace, fully equipped kitchen and half bath. Upstairs, the master suite has a gas fireplace, sitting area, full bath with jacuzzi. The second bedroom also has a full bath. Lots of closet space throughout the unit. Each bedroom has a wide balcony, and there is also a patio downstairs. Lots of privacy, and truly a home away from home. The complex sits on Oak Creek, with a viewing area and adirondack chairs. The outside pool is very nice. Best of all, no one asked us to attend a timeshare presentation. Some people might say the furnishings were dated, but everything was in good condition and clean. The carpeting in other units was being replaced while we were here. The location is great, uptown Sedona, so a short walk to restaurants and shopping.

    « Mixed Feelings »

My wife and I drove up from Cave Creek, AZ to meet a friend for dinner. We stayed just one night at the Best Western Plus Arroyo Roble. The hotel is right in the middle of the most touristic area of Sedona with souvenir shops, restaurants and bars and timeshare storefronts pretending that they are something else Upon check-in we were told that our room is in the separate compound next door which looks like a building that they maybe purchased and turned into rooms. The view from our patio was spectacular and that appears to be mostly what you are paying for. For almost $300/night the room was dark, the carpet looked very dated and the internet service was so bad that even email was virtually impossible to get done. Regarding the latter, I went to the front desk and lodged a complaint to the very nice young employee and she said, "We'll reset the router." An hour later the internet was somewhat more useful but I clocked it at just 1 Mbps down and 270 Kpbs up! These are barely better than dial-up (remember that?!). In this day and age there is no excuse for lousy internet service. The room looked like it had recently had a major remodel with a very luxurious bath and shower area. The shower was one of the best I've seen lately with jets pummeling you from all sides and from the ceiling. That was a nice treat. Breakfast was excellent in another separate building next door which also looks like it used to be something else. Lots of hot food was nice. Looking back, it is a breakfast that all hotels should aspire to offer. All in all a great location if you like the tourist town kind of thing. I think next time we'll try the other side of town where is is much quieter and we can enjoy the spectacular views without all of the traffic, noise and crowds.

« Fantastic setting next to Art Center »

Lovely hotel with view of red rocks, prime location, and helpful staff. Computer in lobby to do your searches and/or print your boarding passes. The standard rooms are small but they are comfortable with great bedding, microwave, and fridge. Small bath and only one sink. Perfect for 2, a family may feel cramped. Indoor/outdoor pools, sauna, hot tub. Be aware that you walk out of building to health club and change there for indoor pool. Very dark at night so walk w/someone. It's such an advantage being right next to Arts Center w/parking so you can easily go to shops/restaurants. Sedona itself is a magical place.

« Great Hotel With a View Right in Town »

Having been to Sedona a number of times, we've stayed in quite a few different hotels over the years. For our most recent trip (our first time with a baby), we wanted to stay somewhere within walking distance to town. Thankfully, we got a great deal at the Best Western Plus Arroyo, right in town. The hotel is right smack in the center of everything, which is great, but does make it a bit nosey, but hey, you can't have it all. I thought the hotel was clean and nicely decorated. We had a great view of the Red Rocks, which was a total highlight. The beds were comfy, but otherwise it was pretty much your standard Best Western. They had breakfast, which was good, but it wasn't anything to write home about... just the basics. My only complaint was that the walls are somewhat thin, but I assume the hotel is older, so that's to be expected. The staff was super friendly, and we walked the grounds. The condos by the creek look really nice... we will have to stay there some time for sure. All in all, I think we'll be back. The location is great for a quick trip to Sedona and the price wasn't half bad either.

« Brief stay but very pleasant! »

Tucked right up to the other side of Oak Creek Canyon this hotel was very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Their breakfast was simple but good. We did not have time to enjoy the pool or jacuzzi (we had good intentions) as we only stayed two nights but I would definitely stay there again. Oh! And the view was amazing!

    « Sedona Haven »

We met up with friends in Sedona and really enjoyed a week in a 2 bedroom condo. The resort location is walkable to restaurants and shopping. The grounds are pretty with several places to grill and relax, including the creek. We especially enjoyed the two fireplaces in the condo for coffee and conversation. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We had a wonderful time and hope to go back!! The only warning is it's necessary to climb stairs to the bedrooms and there is a steep hill up to the street level.

« Spectacular view - not the quietest for sleeping »

We had the perfect view of the red rocks, and watching the suns rays changing the colours was spectacular, can't say enough about the view. But it's noisy. The halls are breezeways have no carpeting, just tiled floors. No carpeting is a disaster for noise levels. So it echoes. You can hear everyone's voices as they walk down the hall, or dragging their luggage. Although the hotel cannot be responsible for some people's ignorance, you should be aware that you will hear everything. They allow dogs and as dogs do - they bark. We have a dog, and we love him, so I am not against dogs, but being woken up at 7:00 a.m. to barking, after paying high rates was disappointing. I complained to the front desk on check out about the dogs barking - apparently they put us in the "dog section" even though we didn't have a dog. Not impressed with their lack of planning. - No apology - just - oh next time tell us you don't want to be in the dog section. The beds were comfy, the bathroom was extremely small. You should be aware that this place is not good for anyone with any physical limitations as it's built on a hill. You drive down to the hotel check in as the hotel is quite a bit lower than the street. They do have an elevator, to get you to the street level, but the driveway is on a hill and you would have problems getting to it. The steam room, pool and hot tub are quite a distance from the hotel. I wouldn't go back - for the price (and we were off season) - and the noise, there are several places in Sedona that would also have lovely views. It's just not worth the money.

    « WOW What views!! »

Recently traveled to Sedona with a friend to go hiking. Wasn't planning on spending the night, but while eating dinner we decided not to make the drive back to Phoenix. Went on line and found this gem for a good price at last minute. Check in had some confusion but was quickly resolved. The gals at the desk were great. Although my friend and could not see the view when we checked in since it was night time, but what a wonderful surprise when we woke up. Beautiful view of Snoopy and Lucy Mtn. Room was clean and much to my surprise the bed was extremely comfortable. Looking forward to coming back and staying in one of the Creekside Villas. Love this place. Oh yes and did I say that they had a really good breakfast at the best price ever. FREE!!! Included in the price of the room. Highly recommend this place.

Staff were friendly and efficient. Room was spacious with a wonderful balcony overlooking the pool and gorgeous mountains. Two queen beds, Breakfast was very good with lots of yummy choices. This hotel is in a perfect spot to park and walk to restaurants, galleries, shops, tour companies. Great location. Would definitely stay again!!

    « Absolutely Incredible »

Everything from check-in to check-out was superb. The gentlemen on the desk welcomed us with our service dog and got us to our room quickly and easily. First, the location and views of this hotel must be the best in Sedona. Right in town, walking distance, it would be possible to have a great weekend without once using your car. Very close access to galleries, restaurants, shopping (all $ levels) psychics etc available on foot. Room was a mini suite with small kitchen provisions, living room and king size bedroom. Very comfortable, plenty of fluffy towels and scrupulously clean. Beautiful grounds with wonderful, gallery level sculptures. Every single professional we came in contact was helpful, friendly and competent. Visiting Sedona, we would never stay anywhere else.

    « The Cottage »

Five friends from high school (1967) were amazed with our cottage. It had a front porch with a spectacular view of the mountains. It was in uptown. We were able to order pizza delivery. It was perfect!

« Amazing red rock views!!!! »

I loved our stay at this Best Western. The views from our private balcony were amazing!!! King size bed was comfy and the room was super clean. Free breakfast every morning was wonderful, so much better than any other free breakfast I have ever had. Everything was fresh, always. The lemon cranberry muffins were amazing, but I am a baked goods lover. Anything that sounds, looks or tastes like cake and I'm there. But really their muffins were better than most other hotels. Great view from breakfast patio area as well. Pool was also wonderful, with amazing views too. Location was also great, right on the main strip with everything you might want within walking distance. We will stay again the next time we visit Sedona.

« Beautiful Hotel with an Amazing View! »

The Arroyo Roble was not only well landscaped with colorful plants and flowers, it is totally surrounded by the amazing red rocks of Sedona, Arizona. It was a wonderful surprised to see such beauty so close. We loved sitting on the patio, enjoying our surroundings. Our room was great and the extra bonus of the morning breakfast is appreciated, helping us get started for the day. The location is very close to the downtown, lots of shops, restaurants, areas to hike and places to take tours of the area. We really enjoyed seeing another part of this Great Country of ours.

« Relaxing stay centrally located in Sedona »

Opted for this hotel after reading reviews. Centrally located for walking to dinner and galleries. More importantly, the hotel location offers wonderful views of the surrounding Sedona mountains. We opted for a north signature patio room on the north side of the property. Great for scenery views by day, and stargazing at night. Room amenities were very comfortable in a large room. I recommend this room for a special night in Sedona without breaking the bank. Morning breakfast at the buffet was a cut above most hotel offerings. A very pleasant staff keeps the tables clean, the food both fresh and inviting. I would like to add that the property winds downhill to Oak Creek and a picnic area is located on it's banks. Nice for walking around. I didn't get to the fitness facilities so cannot comment on them.

    « Spectacular »

From the experience with the GM and Front Desk Staff on our reservation, to the first time we stood and stared out of our balcony view of the Sedona Red Rocks we knew something special was going on. The entire staff was professional, caring and gracious. Our room was cleaned while we were at breakfast, amazing. The breakfast (included) was the best I've had at a hotel. Thank you BW Arroyo Roble Team. We will be back......

« We had a gorgeous view of the red rocks from our deck! »

We had an upper room in the small adjacent building facing the river below and red rock cliffs which were on the other side of the river. There was a lush green grass pet area and nearby fountain that made the panorama view even nicer. The grass area was always quiet and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony just taking in the view, especially the colors during sunset. The room had a gas fireplace, a microwave and fridge so we enjoyed wine, cheese and other light snacks there in between meals. The breakfast options were plentiful, we especially liked the thick tasty waffles you could make. The fresh fruit was very fresh and ripe, and the daily egg complement dishes varied each day. The tables were very quickly bussed under a watchful attendant's eyes. The front desk staff was very helpful with providing driving directions to help us find our way to the sights. The only morning we missed the breakfast was when we drove up to the Grand Canyon arriving in time for sunrise, which was an awesome experience. The room was very clean and quiet, (we were there the last week of February), and we didn't have issues finding parking on hotel premises. We had access to a fitness club and used the jacuzzi after spending the day hiking. There was also a sauna and a pool that was divided into both an indoor and outdoor section. We would definitely return.

    « Beauty with Tanquility »

Great property...creekside villa was very quiet. The villa was spacious with 2 fireplaces and plenty of very nice amenities. We were amazed how centrally located it was but still so quiet because it sits way "down the hill "by Oak Creek. The timeshare management folks were great. Rod is the agent and was such a pleasant person and provided us with superb customer service. We decided to buy an interval!

« Nice place, overall decent staff, great location »

We were married in Sedona last November, sorry this is a late review, but overall enjoyed staying at the BW Arroyo Roble Hotel. We loved the breakfast offered every morning and the Spanish feeling property. The rooms were very well maintained and cleaned very well daily. Although it was too cool to enjoy the pool and creek, it was a nice view to sit poolside/creekside. We loved how the hotel was situated on the strip, yet had a very private feel to the hotel. It was great location for us and our twenty guest to browse the city. We only had a few mishaps,in our five night stay, and it was with a manager who was not sure of our arrangements that were made in advance with another manager. He really upset met and had me hysterical prior to our rehearsal; which in turn made me, my now husband, and the entire wedding party late to our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. On another occasion, one of our guest was called and threatened with a fine for smoking outside on their balcony of their room. I do not know the smoking policy, nor do I smoke, but, I do feel that is a bit much, as they were outside and had paid a several hundreds of dollars to stay. Anyway, I would revisit this property, I guess if that was the only mishap of the destination wedding it wasn't too bad; it was just very traumatic at the time and one that I haven't forgot. Moral of the story, stick with the manager that you have communicated with for eight months before the trip upon arrival and your guests arrival as well if your having a large group to this hotel or else you may end up in the situation I was in.

« Staff was Very Friendly and Helpful »

The room was clean, jacuzzi tub was a bonus. The staff really made this place great. The front desk organized a car for us to go to dinner, recommending a really great local hangout. The concierge staff was very helpful in helping us organize some jeep tours. All in all the staff went above and beyond.

« Great location in Sedona »

Stayed at this property while traveling from the Grand Canyon to Phoenix with my wife during our anniversary vacation. Great location right on 89A as you come into town. Our suite was very well apportioned, clean and well maintained and furnished. However, it was located directly above the automatic doors and under the entry overhang so any noise and conversations we too easily heard through the bedroom window. Also the music the hotel plays in the outdoor speakers in the entry was played a bit too late into the evening (11pm) and began WAY TOO early (5am). The hotel was very accommodating in turning it off both times we called about it AND they took $50 off our bill when we mentioned it upon check out. The staff is very helpful and courteous and the breakfast buffet was very delicious and the choices abundant. Just be aware of room #412 if you are looking for a quiet room. The hotel really should make their guests who are being offered this room aware of the possible noise issues with that room.

« Great location at a great price »

Stayed here for 5 nights. Room was clean and maids did a great job. The daily breakfast(free) is excellent with all freshly prepared eggs, sausage, fruit, potatoes and a selection of waffles and fresh juices. Most rooms look out over the beautiful Red Rocks behind the hotel. Hotel is also centrally located in Upper Sedona. All rooms facing the rocks have a balcony. A health club is located a hundred yards behind the hotel and you have free privileges. Rooms are spacious.

Trap: I had asked for a room with a view on the rocks. I had to give a tip at the reception to get it. No fridg in the room. No breakfast included. Almost invisible concierge. She was at the hotel one day on the five days I was there. Very clean room and excellent breakfast.

    « Nice location »

We stayed at this hotel for a conference. We had a great room overloooking a fountain and the mountains. Staff in general were great and location was great for getting around Sedona. One bad experience - we went to breakfast the first day. There was a TV in the breakfast area. We asked if they could change the channel from sports to a news channel. We were told that "the boss" would only allow sports or weather on the tv. Really?

« Nice Hotel - No customer service »

My husband and I stayed at the Best Western Plus Arroyo Roble Hotel on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016, the room was very expensive but we splurged as this was our first time in Sedona. We were given Room 405 which has a beautiful view of the red rock. The problem is that the elevator is right across from the room, and you are right beside the stairway. At 6:00 AM Friday, some parents thought it was ok to let their kids run up and down the hall screaming as their play area. When the kids were finished running up and down the hallway the kids started pressing the button for the elevator and run down the stairs screaming. This went on for 2 hours!! We told the front desk and we got "sorry about that". No customer service...for the price you pay!

Amazing red rock views -- especially at sunset! Right in the heart of downtown Sedona -- everything is within walking distance! They also have condos that will accommodate families. This is a lovely reairt. We're staying in a beautiful villa for the week. Relaxing, clean, friendly staff! Within walking distance to many shops and restaurants, and the view is spectacular! Would definitely recommend!

« Beautiful and convenient location »

Beautiful and convenient location overlooking the rocks in the back and with the main road with restaurants and shopping in the front. Highly recommend a room with a rock view in the separate building. Great view, quiet and included fireplace. Pool and game room that is great for kids in an adjoining resort.

    « What a gem! »

We had originally planned to stay at a much more expensive hotel as I had never stayed at a BW before. This trip was the first my husband and I had taken without our children in 8 years so I wanted it to be nice. But I just couldn't stomach paying the amount of money that other hotel was asking per night (Valentine's Day and President's Day weekend meant prices were very high). So we took a chance based on the reviews and booked at the BW Arroyo Roble. So glad we did! The room was a basic hotel room but extremly clean. And the bed was very comfy. My only complaint was that the bathroom was very small - but it was just the two of us so no big deal. (However, it would have been rough had our kids been with us - consider a villa if you have more than two in your party). We were barely in the room and when we were we were on the deck/balcony with the fabulous views. I really can't imagine views any better than this hotel! The staff here is amazing. So friendly and helpful. Always smiling and catering. The free breakfast was awesome. I expected a tray of donuts and muffins but it was a full hot breakfast every morning! We stayed in the hotel portion but will bring our family back and stay in the Villas next time. They are right on Oak Creek and it's very peaceful down there. But you really can't go wrong with either part of this hotel/resort! So glad I put my hotel snobbiness aside and stayed here.

Really liked this hotel. Check in was quick and easy. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Beds were comfortable and pillows were really good. Cleaning staff was great. Pool was awesome! What a view! Breakfast was really good. Every morning there was a different egg type dish. Really good! Parking was good too.

« Great stay in the red rocks »

The hotel is in a great location, right on main street and walkable to a lot of shops, restaurants, etc. The hotel was nice, clean, comfortable. The staff was helpful, friendly and professional. To wake up and look at the red rocks (Snoopy & Lucy) and others from our room was an extra treat.

« Great bathrooms, fantastic kids game room, Ok breakfast »

We stayed at the Creekside villas and enjoyed the 2 spacious story condos. The master bathroom was amazing - marble, new jet tubs with lights and air bubbles, shower with rain shower and multiple jets. The location is great for walking to restaurants and shops. The highlight was the club house with the lounge, indoor pool, steam room/sauna, and best of all kids game room with ping pong, air hockey and shuffle board. The breakfast quality was only so-so. This my only suggestion for an area for improvement.

« Someone Smoked in our Room and Nobody Noticed »

My son and I arrived somewhat late. Room stank of tobacco smoke, but we tried to sleep anyway, considering the hassle of changing rooms. However, I couldn't sleep at all, breathing the horrible cigarette small. Worst of all, in the morning the towels in the bathroom really stank, and were hard to use considering the smell. When I complained, they told me they wouldn't charge me the cleaning cost of smoking in the room, even though I wasn't the one doing the smoking. Through the front desk worker, manager relayed the message that their cleaning staff are not trained to detect the smell of smoke (?). Place in total costs $300 for us a night. Seems to me we should be supplied ample hospitality, a direct call with the manager, and a better excuse than that we should have told the about the smell before going to bed. Basically, when I go to a hotel, my expectation is that I'm not responsible for reporting such things as the smell of the room when I arrive. This should really be taken care of before my arrival. I'm not there to work for the hotel, by such notifications. Lastly, the breakfast was simply awful.

    « Valentines Day overnight »

Great location and room was great. Bed was a bit hard for my taste but everything else was great. We come to Sedona often for anniversary or valentines day, christmas and birthday celebrations and normally stay at L'Auberge de Sedona. We love it there, but when we can't get a room we will stay here. It was very satisfactory. The only negative, is the price, for the room size and type.

« Well worth the money I would visit again »

Well ran and very nicely maintained. Staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I enjoyed conversations with both the evening and day shift. Breakfast was well prepared and varied to suit different tastes. Location is good for walking to shops and driving up Oak Creek Canyon. Lots of little places to relax on the grounds. Beds were comfortable and the accessible room was well laid out and easy to maneuver. Hotel buildings are built into a hill beside the creek, making parking OK but a little hike if parked on the lower level. Birds in the bushed in the morning is a welcome sound as you enter the hall.

« My 1st Half Marathon in Sedona »

I booked this hotel because it was listed on the Half Marathon site. It was cozy and perfect. The hot breakfast and bus pickup across the street were icing on the cake. First class hotel with very friendly staff and a breathtaking view of the mountains.

    « Nice Hotel »

Stayed here one night just passing through. Very clean and the staff was helpful and friendly Beautiful scenery and walk to everything no need to drive. A nice place to stay that included a free breakfast. Maybe a little pricy for a best western but still worth the money I guess

« STAY HERE: Best location and views in Sedona »

The view from all rooms at the Arroyo Roble is of the red rock panorama that defines Sedona, and the location allows for easy walking to anything in downtown Sedona. The outdoor pool offers the same great view as the rooms. In colder weather, a good alternative is the indoor pool and workout area accessible to hotel guests. (This is a little difficult to find, as its shared with the time share condos next to the hotel.) Hiking along the river and red rock bluffs is available within walking distance of the hotel. The full complimentary breakfast is above average for hotel fare. Comfortable rooms, nice amenities, and great location and views make this the best place to stay in Sedona. We've stayed several times, and have never been disappointed. Other locations in Sedona have been nice, but not nearly as convenient or impressive as the Arroyo Roble.

    « Beautiful Setting »

My wife and I spent a week at Arroyo Roble Resort in January. Friends visited and stayed with us during part of the week. The weather was perfect for hiking, sightseeing, and just relaxing along Oak Creek. The Resort is a perfect place to stay. Coming back to the resort each day after a day of exploring, and firing up the gas fireplace, made for a great vacation. We stayed in an end unit (#1445) which provided more light into the unit that otherwise would have been more dark. The units are spacious. The cabinetry is dated and worn but everything is provided for those who want to prepare their own meals. The bed was very comfortable and the main bathroom was spacious with walkin shower and separate jacuzzi. While in the area go to Clarksdale and take the Verde Canyon Railroad for a 4 hour train ride into beautiful Verde Canyon where you will likely see bald eagles in the wild. Have a meal at Harry's Hideaway in the town of Cornville for a nostalgic time of the past. And don't miss the mountainside town of Jerome, its art studios, and eateries.

« Beautiful Hotel with Beautiful Staff »

The staff at this hotel really make you feel like family. The fire place in the lobby is so inviting. Stayed in the Creekside Villas this time around and it was perfect. Visiting with my daughter, Aunt and Mum for a long weekend. The villa was perfect. We had room to sit and talk and play games in the evening. Full kitchen was great to keep our snacks and make hot tea in the morning. Thank you so much to all the staff and GM!

    « Wonderful stay »

The cottage at Best Western PLUS arroyo is wonderful. It was perfect for our group and we enjoyed it immensely. Although the bathtub is wonderful it is very high so it could be hard for an elderly person to get in. View is AMAZING!! Staff was wonderful, beds were comfortable. So many good things to say about this hotel.

« Great View of the Red Formations from your room »

The hotel is great if you want a fantastic view from your balcony of the famous red rock formations for which Sedona is known for. The rooms are large and very comfortable. The hotel is clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The property is clean and within walking distance of the many nice restaurants in Sedona. The only feature I didn't like was that while the rooms were accessed via a center hallway the ends of the hallways were open to the outside and thus not temperature controlled. We would stay here again the next time we arein Sedona.

    « Sedona - Jan 2016 »

Great location in Sedona to walk to shops and restaurants. We had a Northern room with a beautiful view (separate building but all close together). The room had a fireplace which we used in the cool evening and morning. Shower/tube has a high step up/in and there are no handles to hold onto in shower (did have a bath mat). The sofa sleeper is not comfortable even for a smaller adult. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was clean and that is very important to me. Breakfast is served in a separate building close by also. We would request the same room again if we return to Sedona because patio view is beautiful. Uptown Sedona is the place to stay for first time Sedona visitors.

An excellent hotel in a world class location. Rooms are large, beds comfortable, very clean, staff very nice and ready to help. Walking distance to main street of Sedona and all its shops and restaurants. Not cheap but certainly worth the money.

    « Beautiful views »

The Hotel has some beautiful views and the staff were very helpful it is located in uptown Sedona so you can walk and shop at your leisure. Sedona has beautiful weather year round with the occasional rare snow and you are only 45 mins from Flagstaff and the drive up Oak Creek canyon is stunning.

    « Perfect location! »

I would give it an excellent rating only the villas are slightly dated and worn (but very clean.) But, aside from that, it's perfect. Fireplaces, views, full kitchen, walk to the creek, walk to uptown, clean and beautiful spa area with great attention to details. The staff is helpful and polite.

    « Beautiful Area »

Sedona is beautiful! This hotel/resort was amazing! Room 211 was spacious, quiet, the bed very comfortable with a gas fireplace and balcony with amazing mountain red rock views. They have a community room with a pool, hot tub, and game room. Very family friendly atmosphere. Breakfast was included in a buffet style, which was good my only complaint is that the food was cold, but they do have a microwave. We stayed 2 nights, hiked a couple easier trails and ate fabulous meals. My favorite shop was The Tree House.

« Excellent Stay in Sedona »

My husband and I had a great stay in this hotel. The room was clean and had a balcony with a view to the beautiful Sedona formations. They hotel staff had a great customer service approach and were very helpful. This hotel provides a hot breakfast at no additional cost, which added to our experience. However, the Clubhouse was the highlight of our stay. The Clubhouse is a full service facility that offers a gym, racket-ball courts, indoor/outdoor pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, game room, Ping-Pong table, pool table and much more! We had a great time in the Clubhouse and we truly did enjoy our stay!

« My first trip to Sedona »

After a very stressful 2015, my best friend and I planned a trip away to Sedona. I have been looking forward to coming out here for many years. We booked the best western arroyo because of its proximity to shops and the views that were advertised. Because we booked a standard room we never imagined how gorgeous our room and view would be. We were on the first floor with a courtyard overlooking a fountain and the breathtaking red rocks. Million dollar view for under 200.00. Free buffet breakfast, clean and pretty rooms with mini fridge, microwave. Extremely comfortable beds and pillows. Perfect location. This is the place to go in Sedona

« Grand view and a lovely hotel »

« short taste of Sedona »

« Top notch in every way »

We just spent 4 nights in Sedona at the Best Western. It was absolutely phenomenal in every way. Room was large, very clean, and well stocked (including 2 STACKS of towels in the bathroom. The view from our room was beautiful and our room opened into a little courtyard with a fountain. It felt like we had our own front yard! The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The front desk folks were like having friends who really wanted you to try their favorite spots. Breakfast was included and outstanding - egg casseroles, bacon, sausage, biscuits and sausage gravy, etc. and I've gotta give a thumbs up to the men who run the breakfast cafe. They were so busy they made me tired! Constantly cleaning, refilling, straightening, sweeping. Really hard workers. Free coffee, hot chocolate, and hot apple cider in the lobby was a nice touch. The Oak Creek runs right behind the property, and we enjoyed sitting in the swings and listening to the creek. Great amenities. I could really go on and on about how much we enjoyed our stay. If I vacation in Sedona again, I won't stay anywhere else.

    « An exceptional hotel »

We visited during the fall and our stay at this hotel was very enjoyable. Our standard king room was clean, updated, spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. The bathroom was a little cramped but the vanity area had plenty of room with nice bright lighting. But the best part was the view! It was beyond expectations. The complimentary breakfast served each morning was more than adequate with plenty of variety and the staff was very helpful and courteous. The hotel/villa grounds are vast and beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel when visiting Sedona.

« The cottage was perfect! »

I stayed here with my two daughters and one son in law, and it was perfect. We wanted a place with a nice living room/area, but also close to the uptown shopping and amenities, like a pool and hot tub... The cottage was great. It has two bedrooms, and a fold-out couch, very comfortable couch and lounge chair, plus a dining table and kitchenette ( sink, fridge and microwave, plus a normal drip coffee maker) only one bathroom, but that was not an issue. In case it matters to anyone, there is a TV in each room. Wifi was a little slow, but free. Also a gas fireplace. I thought about a creek side villa, they seem nice and a bit bigger, but the cottage is really close to all of the hotel's amenities: outdoor pool, breakfast room, and the clubhouse( where indoor pool, sauna, steam room, etc...) but the cottage has a fantastic view and lovely front porch with an open field in front of it that makes it feel like a private home. Breakfasts were good, definitely better than the average free breakfast at a hotel like best western... Meaning, this is not the four seasons folks, but there was so,etching for everyone. Only bad thing: the coffee! It tasted like chlorine. So the second day we made our own in the cottage, with bottled water and store bought coffee and cream. The outdoor pool was too cold for swimming, but the lounge chairs around it were very comfy and we spent some time laying in the sun one day, it was lovely!

We stayed here one night (wish it would have been longer). The staff is unbelievable! So helpful, friendly and just downright nice! I had a card with the names of the two people who I'm talking about but I can't find it! The rooms here are clean, the beds comfortable, the towels big and fluffy! It's the best Best Western I've ever stayed at!

We looked at several hotels in the area, but this was the only one with an indoor pool. We had stayed in Sedona before, but nothing can beat the service and amentities that the Best Western provided. « Hotel with a view. »

This was our first time in Senona, so our search was totally done by checking on the internet for hotels of 3 star and up, with a good price and what looked good in the pictures. This hotel and the staff surpassed our expectations. When we arrived, we were told that they upgraded our rooms by switching us to the side of the hotel with fabulous views of the mountains and sunsets. The beds and bedding were comfortable. Rooms were clean as was the surrounding areas. The desk clerks were friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was excellent. Eric the waiter and Soto the cook both were eager to make sure that we were satisfied with our breakfast. The morning we were scheduled to leave was earlier than the open time of the restaurant, and yet when we asked Eric the evening prior about getting some drink and fruit or muffins to take along with us, he was more than willing to open up so that we might get on our way as scheduled.

Great time to go in the off season (right after Christmas holidays, etc.) Tourist rush is over, streets are quiet, easy access to stores, restaurants & other visitor amenities - it was cloudy and gray while we were there, rainy weather, but made it very mystical and mysterious. « Location is the key to this resort »

We have been to Sedona on several occasions but this was our first winter visit. We chose the Arroyo Roble Resort because of its ideal location. It is within walking distance of uptown Sedona where you can always find fun shopping and good restaurants. Snow began to fall just before we arrived and the red rocks began to take on a whole magical look. The resort is old by Sedona standards and when we turned the corner to the entrance of the resort we discovered the only entrance is a very steep driveway. I questioned our choice of resorts and hoped that the car would stop at the bottom before we ended up in Oak Creek. We joked that we might be there until the spring thaw. I think that they treat the drive as even without snow tires we never had a problem going in or out. We picked up our keys to the condo at the office and was warmly greeted by their staff. Our condo was 2 bedroom 2 ½ bath and had 2 gas burning fireplaces . Their warm glow made us quickly forget that it was cold outside. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans etc . and there are several restaurants that will deliver. The 2 bedroom units have 3 patios and the beautiful scenery could be enjoyed from all rooms. The downside was that there is a step down that takes you into the living room and a step down to the kitchen. We had some older folks with us and the steps down plus the steep stairs ware a concern. We did decide that the steps would get us in shape and by the end of the week we found they were less of a challenge. Great looking gas grills were available and I understand that the staff is readily available to help you with those. The units are old and showing signs of needing a good remodeling. The units are clean and the view is priceless. Yes, we would recommend staying here. The fabulous location, the beautiful view, the office and maintenance staff. The negatives are the steps, No TV in 2nd bedroom, and the unit could have used some fresh paint. With that said the positive outweigh any negatives.

    « Sedona's Best »

This is a great resort and the Villas are phenomenal. Big and spacious, fully equipped kitchen, fireplaces, great big living room, bathrooms are great (I want the master bath in my house), beds super comfy, - there is even a washer and dryer. It is a short walking distance to the main street in Sedona. The location of the Villas is great. They are quiet, secluded, and away from it all. Oak Creek is running in your back yard with plenty of places to sit and hang out. A battery of really nice gas grills on a big deck overlooking the creek. And of course there are the views, the great views of Sedona. All just out your back door. We plan to come back next year and start a family holiday tradition of coming to Sedona for a few days between Christmas and New Years and we wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.

Overpriced hotel. Breakfast is not bad, but not exceptional. No safety grab in bathroom, this is not acceptable. The paint in the bathroom is rough, not smooth. the bathtub seal needs to be redo. « Great room and view »

My husband and I stayed here on a 4 day vacation to explore Sedona and the Grand Canyon. We chose it because it looked like it had nice amenities, rooms with a view and free breakfast. We paid for a king size bed room with a red rock view and fridge. The room was very large and clean and had a nice big tv. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom and vanity were sufficient. There was no food or drink for purchase in the fridge which was fine but unexpected. The gym was tiny - unless you only do cardio or light weights, it won't be sufficient. We ended up paying to use a local gym that had everything we wanted - but was not clean. The pools looked nice enough, but we didn't use them. It was too chilly to swim outside and we just never got around to the smaller ones. The area looked pretty outdated, but clean. My husband used the steam/sauna and said they were fine. The game room etc were nothing fancy - but I did like the large sitting room/library. Again, we just didn't use them because we were out hiking most of the time. Everyone seemed to rave about the free breakfast. It was okay - but I say that from a health nut perspective. If you don't mind eating unhealthy, you'll be fine. I was disappointed there were no egg white options or create your own omelette with veggies. There were two pre-made egg dishes - one that came from a carton of liquid eggs, make your own waffle from a mix, an assortment of breads, cereals and really gooey (not good) oatmeal. They had some fresh fruit and juices (not fresh). So, it just depends on what you're looking for. If you're not picky, you'll be fine. If you are picky, you'll probably opt to eat somewhere in town. Parking was easy and the staff was relatively friendly, not the friendliest. They had free hot tea and coffee in the lobby. Hotel is in a good location, easy drive to just about anything and 2 hours from the south rim of the Grand Canyon.

    « Seduced in Sedona »

Visited in October of 2015 , upon arrival in Sedona by way of Oak Creek Canyon, Arizona. Just traveling through the majestic oak trees and mountain cliffs made the journey even more sensational! The curved roads gave a sort of adventure while driving the canyon, the turn outs provided spectacular views of the back mountains behind Sedona. As you travel about 30 minutes from Highway 17 to Sedona you are treated to majestic oak trees and beautiful mountain cliffs! Arriving in Sedona from the Oak Creek Canyon side you come in to the back road to the city. We arrived at our hotel and to our amazement the surrounding mountains were breath taking! Red all around the mountains with colors to feast the eyes. The hotel was just fantastic! We entered our room with a panoramic view of the mountains from our balcony. The staff was just perfect, anything you needed any information was there at a moments notice. If you needed it , it was just minutes away! You ask, it was there. Everyone was friendly and it seemed that no one was in a big hurry, no one seemed irritated about anything or anyone! You just felt so welcomed! The hotel grounds were beautiful and getting to your room was easy, (they have an elevator in the middle for those who don't do well with stairs. Food at the hotel breakfast was great! Did not have to hurry through breakfast or be there real early because they might close before you get up! Very relaxed and it fits any ones vacation expectations! The amenities were plenty, pool, Jacuzzi , plenty of walking, etc. If you are a shopaholic, this place is for you! I would recommend Sedona for vacation, but most of all the Best Western Plus Arroyo Roble Hotel is worth every penny you spend! If you are going to do something special in your life do Sedona. When we left the hotel we felt seduced by it's beauty!

Completed my third visit to the resort and once again had a terrific experience at the property. Fantastic location and attentive staff make this a great place to stay. If that is not enough, the recreation facilities, pool, and access to the creek are amazing. Also, there is a complimentary full, hot breakfast daily with homemade creations that are delicious! I travel extensively and this is one of my favorites spots!

Since this location has been in a popular tourist area for a long time, I expected it to be a little dated and tired. I was wrong. Everything has been updated; The room is modern, very comfortable, and has amenities not found in more expensive places...coffee pot handy but concealed, a great lighted mirror in bathroom. And, super clean.

We were in a small separate building with an unobstructed view of the red rock hills with a beautiful lawn down below. We sat on our balcony sharing a bottle of wine. The bed was wonderful with light flannel sheets--what surprise after spending the summer in Phoenix. We would recommend this hotel. Good food is a drive. however. Forgot to mention the fireplace which we had on during the night. Very romantic.

We stayed here two nights, last night in November and first night in December. We had a room with a balcony which I would have loved to use, but was too cold to sit outside, had a fantastic view of the Red Rocks. Room was very clean and spacious and the property was very attractive. They also have villas, plus very nice grounds. Parking was adequate. Breakfast was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

    « Thanksgiving 4 day weekend 2015 »

Our party of 18 stayed at 4 villas and one hotel room for a family reunion/Thanksgiving weekend. The villas were beautiful, spacious and very functional. The hotel room had a phenomenal view of the beautiful red rocks. The club house was in excellent condition and offered a great variety of activities for kids and adults alike. Our younger family members loved the pools, ping-pong, and the Wii. There are nice outdoor tennis courts and indoor racket ball courts. The entire staff was very accommodating. Maiessa at the front desk was particularly helpful. The people servicing the included breakfast: Donald, Soto, Eric and Gilbert were all extremely friendly and the food they served was excellent. We had a terrific weekend and would highly recommend this facility. We would love to return some day.

« Best Location and Gorgeous Views! »

Ok, yes, there are more luxurious accommodations in Sedona but Best Western Arroyo Roble is our GO-TO hotel every time we visit Sedona. Perfect uptown location...walking distance to cute shops, great restaurants, as well as a short 5 min. walk down to gorgeous Oak Creek. Also, this location provides a shorter drive to our favorite hike, West Fork trail. The rooms are always very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated but THE VIEWS!!!! Request a red rock view and you will NOT be disappointed. Must add that daily breakfast service is much better than expected! Gracious and helpful staff make it an even more enjoyable stay. Can't wait for our next visit!

    « Great property »

this hotel has great suites that are off to the right on the property that offer private balconies and fireplaces in the room. They are very nice and worth the extra price. We love that this property has creek side access where you can sit and relax and enjoy oak creek's beauty.

    « Great view »

Got a nice comfortable room with an amazing view. We got to see snoopy from our private balcony. Totally worth the price to stay here for the night. Outside of that I didn't try the breakfast we are leaving too early to head back home due to holiday traffic.

    « Vacation »

It is a bit pricey but worth it. We stayed in one of the side units. It had only 6 rooms there. 3 up top and 3 below. We felt like we were all by ourselves. It was great! The room was very clean and had a nice fireplace which we used. It was great to sleep to the fire! The view was amazing off our balcony. Everything is within walking distance which was fantastic. All the shops and restaurants within minutes of us. The weather could've been better but we made he best of it. The breakfast was one of the best I've had traveling. Everything was fresh and hot. It had a bunch of options. Something for everyone. The attendant who's name I can't recall but he had a sling for his arm was very pleasant. He was very professional and did a great job with all the people in there. All in all a great place. Great hospitality. I will definitely go back there!

    « Amazing hotel »

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. We had a room on the ground floor in the main hotel block, which had THE most amazing views to die for, and a patio area in which to sit and enjoy them. The staff were incredibly helpful, the maid who looked after our room an absolute delight, and the staff in the breakfast area could not have been more pleasant if they'd tried, they genuinely cared and it showed. The location for the hotel is perfect for uptown Sedona, just a moment's walk from many shops, bars and restaurants. Sedona was the highlight of a 2 week trip round California and Arizona and I wish we'd been able to stay for longer.

    « Lovely Hotel »

Great location with view of the red rocks that surround Sedona. This was a very nice Best Western much more upscale than the usual off the highway models. The hotel has a lovely out door pool, but alas it was a little too chilly to use it. However, just a short walk alway was a health club with pool, hot tub and steam room available for hotel guests. Downtown Sedona is easily walkable from the hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable. Best of all there was a full hot breakfast included with the room rental and it was very good. This stay was the last night of a two week road trip and we were happy to find such a nice comfortable hotel.

« Pricey for a Best Western But Worth It »

Very comfortable room with a great view of the red rocks and nice fireplace. Good hot breakfast with lots of hot entrees, not just cold patries. Good amenties like pools, sauna, and game room for kids. Right in the middle of uptown Sedona - we easily walked to great Thai food for dinner. Staff at check-in were friendly and helpful. Our rate was only $40 less than the fancy Enchantment Resort up the road, but included breakfast and had no resort fee, so it was worth it. We'd stay here again.

« Tranquility in the Rocks! »

Very nice hotel with incredible views of Sedona's red rocks. All very relaxing. Great breakfast buffet! Uptown Sedona location, so close to everything. You can walk to many restaurants or take a tour of the sites from one of the many sightseeing operators in Uptown Sedona.

    « Loved It!! »

We stayed here for 11 days. Our room had a great view and was clean and comfortable. Lily from housekeeping did a great job. Also, the breakfast provided had a lot of variety. The staff there were friendly and attentive. Thanks to Donald, Gil, Eric, Donald, Jerry and Soto. I liked staying in town, close to shopping, restaurants and sightseeing tours. So much to do here. So many attractions and most are within a half hour to 45 min drive. I would certainly come back!! There is an indoor pool and hot tub if you need it at the end of the day!

« First time in Sedona »

Based on the advice of our travel agent at AAA, we stayed at the Best Western Plus Arroyo Roble Hotel and Creekside. Thank goodness for her recommendation. The location was close to restaurants, shops and tours. We would definitely stay there again!

« Nice hotel in beautiful Sedona! »

We spent two nights at the Arroyo Roble and overall we were pleased with our choice. We had a king room (407) which was very spacious and had a balcony with a great view. Room was well-maintained and very clean. Wifi was good. The property is quite large and varied---sits at the top of a hill and the buldings are built on the downward slope. Never used the pool which looked very nice. And never wandered down to the river---just too much to do in Sedona. Breakfast was fine---not extraordinary but quite fine. All the staff we encountered was pleasant, helpful and professional. We were not sure we would like being in "downtown" Sedona but were very happy with our choice. Easy to walk to restaurants, Pink Jeep Tour and shops. Yet at the end of town so very quiet. We would recommend this hotel.

Awesome view from the room. Very comfy king bed, balcony, wet bar. Great breakfast. Eric was very helpful and pleasant in the dining room. Lobby has a nice fireplace and cozy feel. Good service all around.

« Good solid place to stay in Uptown Sedona »

We stayed here for 5 nights our first time in Sedona. I looked at many reviews on Trip Advisor and a few other sites and chose this hotel. I was looking for a place that wasn't too expensive, had great views, was clean and within walking distance of the town. This hotel definitely fit the bill on all accounts. It's an older hotel and a little run down, but the beds were comfortable, the room was always clean and the free breakfast was surprisingly good - despite being almost the same thing every day. Kudos to Eric in the breakfast room - very friendly, attentive and kept the place immaculate!

    « Best Best Western »

This is an outstanding property. The location is unmatched, the rooms are terrific. The staff is outstanding. The breakfast buffet is among the best we've ever had and the breakfast staff, Gil, Jerry, Eric and Donald were wonderful - they remembered our names, and were extremely helpful. This is a fantastic BW!

« Beautiful view, great location. »

We stayed at the Best Western for 5 days. We were pleased withe the accommodations. Our view was breathtaking, facing the Red Rock! We loved the breakfast every morning, everything was fresh and delicious. We would definitely return.

    « Expensive but beautiful »

Spent a night here to see uptown Sedona for the first time on a quick trip. Clean hotel. Great views. Just a little expensive for a best western. But considering the location it can't be beat. Very touristy area but there are lots of places to see nearby if you have a car.

    5
    « Just wonderful »

We stayed in the Arroyo Roble resort in a two bed townhouse and the facilities are excellent and the staff extraordinarily helpful and friendly. The location is within easy walking distance of many restaurants in the village and parking is easy.

    « Didn't want to leave »

We loved staying at the creekside villas at the Best Western Plus in Sedona. There was plenty of room and privacy for 2 couples and 1 child. The location was convenient to shopping. We walked the creek, toured the grounds, used the hot tub, enjoyed the daily breakfast and used the full kitchen for drinks and snacks as well as to store and reheat leftovers. Next time, we'll plan to use the outdoor grills so we can hang out at the property longer!

    5
« Clean hotel in great location »

We spent 4 nights here while we toured the area. The hotel is clean and quiet. It is located an easy walk to many shops, pubs, and restaurnts. The staff is friendly and the included breakfast is good. If I get back to Sedona I will stay here. The view from your room is also very good.

« Nirvana by the Creek »

They have remodeled the bathrooms in the Villas! Beware; you won't want to leave. If you do, explore the beautiful grounds, especially down by the Creek. It is other-wordly wonderful! :-) The sumptuous complimentary brunch will satisfy your culinary needs and with a view!

    « LOVE**LOVE***LOVE »

The grounds are breath-taking (you must spend time at the creek). Doing breakfast the three young men: Gilbert Mgr, Donald/host, and Eric/host were exceptional in doing there job. I recommend a raise for them. They went above and beyond by being polite, helpful with any needs and great smiles. My room (108) was on the 1st flr patio and I thought it would be noisy but the patio seem like it was my private site.

    « Incredible hotel »

We booked this hotel for one night on our way to the Grand Canyon from Phoenix and were so impressed with the property that we booked again on our return a week later. The view of the Red Rocks both from our room and from our patio was spectacular. The large suite with fireplace, jacuzzi and deluxe shower was wonderful. We enjoyed unique items at the included breakfast in the designated breakfast room which also had an outdoor patio overlooking the Red Rocks. We would definitely recommend this hotel for families or couples or singles looking for relaxation and interesting activities in Arizona

« Terrific place to stay »

My wife and I stayed here while being tourists in Sedona. The room faced the best views of red rocks. It was quiet, which is essential for me, a light sleeper. It was clean, ready on time, and the staff was helpful and friendly. We would stay there again!

    5
    « Nice Place »

Great location, great breakfast, great condo unit. A little pricey the weekend we went, but the villa was outstanding. The unit has a full kitchen and laundry, situated on the creek. We did not realize in time that there are nice gas grills outside in a common area.

    5
    « beautiful location! »

The rooms are very clean, we had a 4th floor red rock view that was fabulous! The breakfast was much better than the free ones we have had at marriotts, hot foods and real plates! staff took our plates when done, desk and breakfast staff very nice! The only thing I thought was not excellent was the bathroom, tiny toilet an inch or so away from tub and door, but it was very clean, sink outside bath area which was nice. Refrig, microwave, kuerig and safe in room also coffee tea and hot chocolate always available in lobby. would def stay here again

« Some positives, but disappointed in room. »

Based on the reviews from several sites regarding this Best Western, we expected a much nicer hotel. We are recent Best Western Reward members, so this is only our third BW experience (others were in CA and much nicer). Since we were in from PA for a family wedding in Sedona and staying 6 nights, we wanted to be uptown so we could walk to shops and restaurants. We had a standard king red rock view, Room 508. I was a bit concerned because it is across from the vending and ice machines. Fortunately, this was not an issue, but not sure if it would be noisy during a busier time. The room was adequate, but bathroom needs updating. There was a slight annoying odor coming from the bathroom. Not enough to complain, because it was clean. Really think it's just because the bathroom was old, tiny and has poor ventilation. We did tell the front desk that one of the bathroom lights was not working, but that did not get fixed during our stay. Although the mattress was comfortable, the bedding was "pilly", so after the first night, I asked our housekeeper to change them. Next set was fine. We really enjoyed the breakfast. Enough selections to keep us satisfied for 6 mornings. When advertising the breakfast on the TV in the hotel room, the chef mentioned biscuits and gravy. We kidded with him our last day that we were hungry for biscuits and gravy, because they were advertised but we didn't have them while we were there. He actually looked to see if he had ingredients to make it for us, which we thought was very special. He apologized that he couldn't make it, but we never would have expected him to do that. We didn't get a chance to take advantage of some of the other hotel amenities. Wish we could have enjoyed the creekside area. Appreciated the balcony and views. Before we checked out, I wanted to print our boarding passes, but was having trouble getting onto the American website. One of the employees came from the back and printed them using his computer. I'm sorry I didn't get his name, but we were very appreciative.

« Beautiful Place to Stay. »

Stayed here in August for our summer vacation and Wow what beautiful views from the rooms in back of the hotel. Very clean, and very helpful front desk staff. Free breakfast and alot to choose from compared to other places. Will stay here again in the future and would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Switched from a more expensive hotel that promised a view to this hotel that actually had not only a view but a great one! Friendly helpful people. Great place, great stay. Would stay again. Would recommend to friends. Better in every way than more expensive hotel I originally stayed in but left because it had no view and none of the advertised services.

    « Paradise with Convenience »

We had been staying elsewhere in West Sedona, and had booked BW Arroyo Roble for our last two days, but on visiting the property, pulled in our reservation for an additional 2 days. Fantastic views from 100s units on patio level, comfortable lodging, and most of all, pleasant staff, especially in the breakfast area. Every food tastes freshly made and not overcooked (as many other establishments overcook or don't care), with special dishes presented each day. Empty plates are retrieved with a smile almost as soon as they are emptied. Coffee is THE best tasting of any commercial lodging we ever have visited. Grounds are a heavenly escape, especially by the creek at the glider area to the right. Thanks Lonnie (manager), for maintaining such high standards!

    « Honeymoon Suite »

Fantastic service. Awesome views. Excellent, large room with whirlpool, fireplace, views, couch and everything to make our stay comfortable. Wish we could have moved in! Love the outdoor jacuzzi-pool, workout rooms, steam bath, sauna..etc..etc! We also cooked our dinner on the outside gas grill by creekside!

« Great View of Sedona »

Hotel has a great view of the red rocks of Sedona. It is within walking distance to all the shops and resturants. The chef does an excellent job at breakfast and offers 2 egg casseroles each day along with fresh fruit, rolls, meat and cold cereal. We stayed at the only cottage and it was perfect for a girls get away.

    « Six Great Days »

I will confess we were originally looking for one the upscale resorts but could not find a vacancy. Best Western Plus Arroyo Roble Hotel was highly rated on Tripadvisor so we trusted the reviews and booked a reservation. We were so pleased that we did. The hotel backside rooms were large, comfortable, and have a fabulous view of the mountains each morning and evening. A one block walk provides you with large choice of restaurants and shops. A few more blocks and you can hop on a Pink Jeep tour. The breakfast buffet was very well done and the staff is wonderful. A special tip of the hat for Jerry and Gil.

« Average, clean, good location- nothing special »

Last summer we stayed in a Best Western Premier Hotel in Cody Wy and it was very nice. I made the mistake of thinking this hotel was in the same category- it was not. There's a big difference between Plus and Premier! The basic rooms in the hotel part where we stayed were average, nothing special. The room was small with an extremely tiny bathroom. At close to $250 a night, I feel overpriced. We stayed midweek in October. There were larger rooms at 377$ - But I paid less than that at a Four Seaons!( in Neivs overlooking the ocean) . The rooms do have a nice view, are clean and walking distance to stores and restaurants. I planned this trip on short notice and didn't have the time to do a lot of research like I normally do, so I mostly blame myself for not getting what I wanted. We had a stressful few days in Phoenix and I wanted something more upscale and luxurious in Sonoma, and this wasn't it. They also have a 48 hour cancellation policy, which I really dispise. Due to the room not being what I expected and really bad weather, I wanted to check out after one night, but was held hostage by their cancelation policy.

« Vacation in Sedona for 8 days »

We had a wonderful stay at the Arroyo Roble Hotel in Sedona from Sept 27 to Oct 4. The Creekside Villa was a great place to stay and the employees were very attentive to our needs and helpful in scheduling activities. The "breakfast" team was very impressive (Eric, Soto, Donald and Gilbert); their efficiency and service was outstanding. .

    « "AMAZING" »

Wow! We chose this place for a few days while in Sedona on vacation and it was awesome! The rooms are spacious, comfy & clean. The views are spectacular! We had a room with a balcony & red rock views! This place is right in uptown Sedona so you can just leave your car at the hotel and walk to all the shops & restaurants! I would recommend to anyone! Trust me you won't be disappointed if you choose this place! Worth every penny:-)

« Poor customer service ruined visit »

This Best Western is perfectly satisfactory with good views of the red rocks. The downside was breakfast. Coffee poor and industrial scrambled eggs. Saturday was so busy at 8am there was almost nowhere to sit. Sunday was bettered when the staff sprayed the waffle machine with rancid butter which filled the room with a stench of baby sick. When this was pointed out to a staff member (I don't name him as that's getting personal) he decided to argue with rather than apologise. Breach of Customer Service 101. Not what you expect for over $300 a night. Rooms are spacious and clean. Sedona is fantastic.

    4
    « Beautiful Views »

Beautiful views from our room balcony, great place for morning coffee and evening wine. Steep hill in parking areas and down to adjacent fitness club house. Hotel pool was nice but lacked hot tube. You had to go to fitness club house for hot tube or other pools. needs a second or faster elevator.

    3
    « Too pricey »

We stayed in a Signature Plus room at Best Western for $379 or something ridiculous like that. I wanted an unobstructed view of the red rocks when waking up and falling asleep. I also wanted to be steps away from Uptown Sedona. Our desires for great view and great location were well met with a luxurious suite, quiet, and privacy. Unfortunately, after seeing the hundreds of other hotels in Sedona, most of them in tolerable locations and with good views, we now feel like we paid way too much. A friend later pointed out that staying nearly anywhere in Sedona will get you a red rock view. For first time visitors to the area, we had no idea where to start with picking a hotel! It is quite overwhelming! If we were to stay in Sedona again, I'd save money by staying in one of the hotel rooms here or one of the many other good but lower priced hotels. I'd then spend the money on shopping!! Of course we had a good breakfast, friendly staff, and enjoyed the well kept grounds on top of the great view and spotless room. We were in good hands at this Best Western but again, would stay somewhere more reasonably priced next time.

    « An excellent stay »

Stayed here with our teenage family (13 & 15) during September 2015. We booked the 'Cottage' a long time ago. Wow. Breathtaking views. The cottage is a two bedroom property with absolutely nothing in front of it other than the magical Sedona landscape. Own driveway. Unique to the property. We have one regret - we were only here for one night - could have stayed a week. Highly recommended, service was good, facilities are excellent.

    5
« Best View in Sedona »

The view we had from our room was wonderful. The breakfast as good as well. Our friends room smelled of smoke and they were quickly moved. The hotel is very close to the town center and you can walk to shops and resteraunts as well as all tour companies.

    « Back again »

This is our 7th time staying at this facility and the quality has not changed over the years. We were on the first floor 106 this time but have been on the 3rd floor, the north building and even in the condo area. ALL rooms have been impeccably cared for, clean and we have never been disappointed by the staff/services here. The views are to die for. It is mostly the staff that keep us coming to this BW. Alot of the members are still employed here and that speaks highly of the management/work environment. The hotel is above average on what they provide but with the attentiveness of Gil, Eric, Donald, Jerry, Barbara and the entire staff it truly makes this place. Clean and well appointed rooms(refrig, microwave, in room safe&great Wifi). Beautiful grounds right in Sedona but very quiet location. Easy walking to shops and a few restaurants/bars. The grocery is about 10min drive to W Sedona with several other places to eat there. Canyon Outfitters and Hike house are great places to engage folks who know the area. Hike Hike Hike :-)

« Always the best place to stay in Uptown Sedona! »

We have stayed here before and will keep coming back! Always an excellent choice. The views from every room are amazing, and they are clean, spacious and lovely. It is quiet and peaceful, the staff is always helpful, courteous and friendly and the hotel is within walking distance to all of the uptown shopping and dining. We bring groups here and have always had only positive feedback. All of our clients love ending our tour here with a two night stay. The management is a pleasure to work with and the desk help is always knowledgeable and helpful. The housekeeping staff is also very helpful with any needs you may have. There is a guest laundry available on site and one of my favorite details here is they use real glasses and coffee cups! Even the soaps and lotions are much nicer than most hotels. The beds are very comfortable and the linens and towels are high quality and always in excellent condition. The room comes with a Keurig, microwave and refrigerator. It is wonderful to wake up and enjoy a quiet morning out on a balcony, looking over the red rock cliffs while sipping hot coffee or tea. Few places make for such a nice stay.

    « Perfection ... and a Great Deal Too »

We travel to Sedona for one week every year and have tried a number of luxury hotels (including L'Auberge). This is now our favorite!! We had a 2 bedroom creekside condo. The bottom floor had a large living room with a pull-out couch (and room darkening shades) and a large TV, full kitchen and half bath. There was also a patio going right down to the creek. Upstairs was a king master with a huge bathroom and beautiful whirlpool tub with nice lighting and a rock wall with a full shower. There was a second bedroom and full bathroom as well. The room came with a nice free breakfast and access to a pool, hot tub, game room with pool, ping pong, shuffleboard, etc. The hotel is right on the main street in Sedona, making it easy access to everything. The only negative to this hotel is that it is on a big hill, so be ready to hike to get into town. Overall, we loved our stay and thought the value was fantastic! It was hard to believe that this was a Best Western.

    « Shockingly overpriced. »

We paid 339.00 plus $50.00 tax for a room that faced a busy to lane road..plus the entrance to the hotel...and dumpster across the street. Not a the stunning view of Sedona. I was told that those rooms were another $30.00 more. I travel a lot and in all honesty this hotel...is trying to be something it is not. I would never stay here again. There are lots of ways to be robbed other than having a gun put at your throat.

    « Gorgeous Views For Valentine's Day »

My husband surprised me with a getaway to Sedona for Valentine's Day and chose the Arroyo Roble. We stayed in the main hotel building with views that overlooked the gorgeous red rocks. Located just steps away from downtown but on the quiet end of the strip. Complimentary continental breakfast located in the building next door. Would stay again.

« Two Day Stay in Sedona »

Stayed two nights in Sedona at the BW Arroyo Roble. The room was clean and spacious and very comfortable. Close to shops and restaurants. The staff was very courteous and friendly. Great view of the mountains and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay again.

    « Breathtaking »

Wonderful place to stay in Sedona! Nice room (cottage actually) with an amazing view. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast that was included was as much as anyone could want, scrambled eggs, huevos rancheros, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, etc.. The only thing better than the food itself was the service of the staff at breakfast. Many thanks to our hosts, Eric & Donald ; chef, Soto and manager Gilbert for making breakfast more than just a meal !

    « Ultimate relaxation »

So peaceful, relaxing, quiet. Only creek side villas are actually close to the creek. We were looking forward to a creek view, didn't get one, but ended up with something much better. We were on 5th floor (top) with private balcony facing the red rock peaks, not the street. The outside water fountain conveniently covered traveling voices from pool area. Very private, we kept drapes open, if we woke up during the night, it was a treat to see the red rock peaks or the brightest stars! The fresh air was a pure luxury. Haven't slept a that well in years. There is an outdoor pool right by the hotel. indoor pool, hot tub, workout room, pool table, etc is in country club just a quick walk to other end of parking lot. This hotel is within walking distance of many wonderful restaurants and the Upper Sedona shopping area. Which is a huge plus since parking in this main area of town is very crowded. No restaurant in this hotel but not really needed. Free breakfast is located in adjacent hotel building and positively wonderful. Very clean rooms, and housekeeping is very helpful and friendly. Bed linens were very comfy and warm. Fabulous water pressure in showers. Wifi actually worked very well and was truly free. Front desk was great in suggesting places to eat. Coffee/tea available in room, but continual coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available at front desk. The only "yuck" we had was being advised by front desk to check with Chamber Tourist Center for hiking trails, Chamber was a complete waste of time on helping us with hiking trails. Highly recommend this hotel!

    « Heavenly Hotel »

Decided to splurge on a North Signature Room which is in a smaller block of rooms slightly north of the main building. On the second floor it had a good sized balcony (with terrific views of the red rocks) and a massive room with everything in it you could ever need. You could seriously live here if you had the $$. Had an issue with wifi, and the engineer dudes materialized outside the room immediately and reset the router for that section. Pool is decent but is in the shade by the early evening so it's more of a morning/day pool. breakfast is first class. Best eaten outside, although the number of outside tables isn't great. Car parking for us was no problem, as there were adequate spaces right next to the block of rooms we were staying in.

« Our first trip to Arizona »

The Best Western Arroyo Roble Hotel was a wonderful beginning to our trip to Arizona. From the moment we walked into the hotel we could not get over the décor, cleanliness, the friendly courteous staff, the view from our room, the location with regard to the town of Sedona, everything was more than perfect. Breakfast was so enjoyable, the presentation was beyond anything we expected. The pride of those who prepare the meal is evident, not only a great selection but so delicious. I think the hotel was so perfect that after leaving nothing else could compare to our stay here.

« Creekside Villas are Amazing! »

We stayed at the Creekside Villa #1109 and it was simply gorgeous. The interior was beautifully decorated and the bathrooms were amazing. All furnishings appeared to be new, as did the carpeting and floor tiles, and bathrooms. The unit included an enormous Master Bedroom with fireplace, balcony overlooking the creek, sitting area, HUGH bathroom with terrific 2+ person whirlpool tub with waterfall faucet, changing colors in the water. The shower area was also pretty amazing with numerous shower heads. The second bedroom had it's own lovely bathroom with shower, and a balcony. The first floor had a fully stocked modern kitchen, washer and dryer. beautiful powder room, family room with fireplace and patio overlooking the creek and dining room. Wifi worked great as did the 3 tv's. There was a short walk to the indoor/outdoor pools, gym, activity center. The free breakfast, in the room adjacent to the hotel, was delicious. Belgian waffles were the best! This hotel is also in a great location to everything in town. I would definitely recommend this place to all!

    « Sedona Convenience »

Perfect location to see the entire Upper Sedona area, while slightly away from the traffic.Perfectly situated to walk to everything. Hotel was very clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was standard. Would have been helpful to have some "take away" items such as a banana or apple.

This hotel as great mountain views (if you choose) excellent location to walk to restaurants and shops, I never had to move the car during our visit. Great front desk, housekeeping and breakfast room employees. This was my second time here and I will not stay anywhere else in Sedona.

« Location and staff made for a perfect retreat »

Recently stayed five nights in the Sedona AZ Best Western. The location in town was perfect! We could walk around the center of town for shopping and finding a new place for our lunch and dinners. The Trolley Tours, both in and around the town and the one that takes you on the back roads and sites - hiking trails, etc. - help tremendously in our daily planning. Can't say enough good things about the location and staff...We had a room on the 3rd floor with a balcony overlooking the pool where we watched the moon rise each evening, including the Blood Moon...a perfect ending to our trip! Even though we were in town, there was no traffic noise....A perfect place !

« Stayed 3 nights in total bliss! »

This is my only hotel I stay in when I am in Sedona! Hikers, you really need at least 3 nights in Sedona to do the many hiking options; we did 3 hikes all beginning on or before 7:30 a.m. and ending between noon and 1:00 p.m. Perfect amount of time for 1 long satisfying hike per day. You see, I like to play and chill on the rocks watching the ever changing landscape as the earth rotates. So my individual hikes may last up to 5 hours. Definitely suggest the Cathedral Rock climb; xlnt maintained trail and you walk right up the mountain. Again, arrive early for parking and few hikers... as the morning turns into afternoon like way too many hikers and does it get hot! Be a smart hiker, wear proper shoes, bring plenty of water, sunscreen, sunnys, etc. A fun hiker also brings treats to allow you a portal into Imagination Land! The hotel breakfast was very nice but we did miss 2 morning breakfasts as we left twice to hike early in the morning (bf begins at 7:00 a.m. daily). Our view from the 4th Floor with balcony was awesomesauce! Watching the mountains and rocks was so much gratifying to our senses! As an added treat, on 27 September we had the perfect view of the lunar eclipse while sitting on our balcony sipping an Ecluse 2010 Zinfandel (Paso Robles, CA). Way too cool! Listening to their courtyard fountain and the umpteen crickets added the proper vibe to our stay. The Best Western personnel here were the most wonderful and beautiful people; and they were genuine and sooo accommodating. Life is Good!
