Best Western Central Inn

Parking right outside room, darkening curtains, good size accommodation, close to some restaurants and a small shopping mall. Ended up with "private outdoor pool" since the water was about 67 deg F (but the air temp was around 83 deg F). Staff were friendly. No complaints. Note: One review we read earlier mentioned ongoing improvements and you can see pride of ownership in this older motel.

Really a nice, especially clean place- clean bathroom, all in very good shape, clean pool! We enjoyed our stay! The staff is very friendly and its only 15-20min away from the center. Also they offer a good breakfast. We can really recommend.

The room lighting is a little dim, but is sufficient where necessary (bathroom & sink area). We were concerned that an Army Air Field is just behind this hotel; but there were only two fly overs, both before 6 PM on each day of our stay. Breakfast was buffet style & had good variety. The room had LOTS of (USB format) charging ports & excellent WiFi connectivity. Staff is friendly and efficient; rooms were serviced within moments of stepping out each day (finished by the time we returned from breakfast).

Hotel staff is very pleasant and welcoming. Room was very clean and breakfast was good. Good value for price. It's off a busy road, but we didn't notice noise from the room. There is a convenience, store and gas station directly across the street.

This motel is centrally located with easy access to shopping and downtown. The staff is friendly, the motel is clean, beds are comfortable, and breakfast is good! We've stayed here several times, and we will stay here again!

This hotel was conveniently located to many restaurants. The price was great. Rooms very clean. Staff is very friendly. The staff recommend some restaurants . There is coffee in the room. I would definitely stay here again. Historic Downtown Savannah was only 30 minutes away.

The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. It is a great location for doing business and eating out. Very close to a YMCA and a park with a three mile loop run. The manager helped me find an office supply place. The best quality was the friendliness of all the staff.

Best Wetern Central in Savannah was a great place to spend a couple days. The outside is clean and well kept. The room was large, clean and comfortable. There was a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and hairdryer. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were provided. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast area was clean and the food was very adequate. The price was reasonable. We will definitely stay here again if we are in Savannah.

Location was very good. Rooms were very clean. Staff was excellent, from check-in to extending our stay to check put we found a professional welcoming response. Jane Ivy, breakfast manager steals the show with her ever watchful eye, meeting a full room of guest needs with efficiency and a smile. Monique was her super right hand. They make a very good team.

I am a frequent visitor and I am so impressed when I arrive to see the latest upgrades. It makes me happy to see that this hotel re invests in itself. One time it was the repainted and cleaned parking area this time it was a new fence. The rooms have new heating and cooling controls and the pool area is lovely and easy to enjoy. I love to sit in the garden near the pool and enjoy the wonderful and unusual plants. When I walk in I hear welcome home because they recognize me. I've never been bothered or felt unsafe as I have at the more expensive hotels down the street. The breakfast is free and outstanding.

Older style motel but extremely well maintained. Looks like fresh paint on exterior and room was clean, modern and fresh. Quick check in and lady at front desk was efficient and friendly. Bed is perfect. Eazy to get too and not far from downtown.

Great value, easy drive to historic district about 5 miles, very friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable bed. Free parking. Outdoor pool not open in January, but looks nice. The only con is the quality of the breakfast food compared to other hotels I have been to.

I was very pleased with all aspect of this hotel. The front desk person was helpful and attended to all our needs. The room was clean and everything worked properly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Just got here to check in and we were told about a 100 dollar gift card for 3 nights then told we do not qualify because we are not Best Western members. Then when I said I would sign up now I was told it's too late. There was a 38% up charge she said was taxes. When asked about the price drop guarantee she said maybe next time. Rooms were going for 101 a night but we were charged 490 for 3 nights plus a 150 dollar security deposit. The area is super sketchy and dirty. I'm afraid of getting mugged when I walk outside.

For what we needed this hotel was perfect. The room was affordable for a Saturday night, and the cleanliness was perfect. I appreciated the welcome atmosphere of the lobby despite a late night check in (Some lobbies are very "ugh, what do you want", not this one). There was plenty of parking near the room, and everything worked. Thank you for a perfect stop over stay on our road trip. The next morning it was easy to head into Savannah and the historic district which is only a few miles drive away,

classic BW, like a typical Motel. Rooms were partly refurbished, adequate parking available. Breakfast was OK, nothing special but fresh fruits available. Since it was Sunday, Breakfast room was at capacity. Quite some street noise on Saturday night, so ear plugs are recommended, Only the USD 150 extra Deposit seemed strange, we couldn't find the reason why a valid Credit Card would be charged with USD 150 in addition to the Hotel Charges. Will be interesting to see, when this amount will be released by BW.

I've stayed here three times in the past two months and am impressed by all aspects of the property. Easy check in with helpful desk folks. Superbly clean, not always the case for an inner city hotel. Comfortable beds, decent sound proofing. Predictable breakfast, but well presented and overseen by a caring “young” lady. I guarantee you will be surprised and satisfied.

I knew when I pulled in to register that the place was going to be nice and clean. Outside meticulously maintained. Beautiful area to sit in the pool area. Very relaxing after coming in off the road. Room updated, very clean and comfortable. Close to restaurants and mall.

Our go to Motel several time a year when visiting with family, never disappointed. Clean, well maintained rooms, friendly staff and great hot food choices for breakfast. close to but out of the busy downtown "touristy" area.

Ok so for years I have passed this hotel and I said to myself I would never. Well never judge a book by it's cover. My family needed a good nights rest after having no electricity for two days so we chose this location. Check in was smooth, the room was actually decent. the beds were soft, parking was good, the TV had a great picture, the shower was decent, lighting was great, and the only thing that wasn't so great was the AC it wasn't that strong to me. Oh and let me say the Staff member Nastasia was so nice when I was checking out.

We checked in at 2:15 am after an extremely long drive. I was not aware this was a motel style hotel in which you essentially drive right up to your door. Clearly the area is not great as the reception area door was locked until the staff member unlocked it for us. Check in was easy enough. I also was surprised my credit card was precharged for $150 in case of damage to the room. I've never seen that before. Guess it's common to happen in this location. We entered the room and it was very hot as the air was off (and 90+ all day outside). It took about an hour to cool the room off. Considering it was the middle of the night, that wasn't great. Additionally, someone nearby, either outside my room or next door, must have been smoking weed, as my room started smelling strongly. Considering I had a kid with me, it wasn't ideal. The shower was fine but needs a fix as some of the water ran through the bath faucet. The room is otherwise clean which is the most important thing. Checkout is at 11. They offer late checkout at 12 for an additional $20. Another thing I've never seen. We did not go to the breakfast nor use any amenity. Can't say I'd stay again.

Solid, no-frill hotel that is well worth the price. The rooms were clean. The staff was friendly. And the guests were an interesting mix of domestic and international tourists. The free breakfast was surprisingly good, too. It's location was great, as well. Clearly, it is not as desirable as the tony historic district. But, at almost half the rate of hotels in the historic district, the five-minute drive downtown from this hotel is well worth it. My family and I would stay here again.

First let me say, this motel is exceptionally CLEAN…….and for that alone I will stay there again. I made my reservation over the phone on the reservation line. Only complaint I had is they don't tell you the deposit is t like most hotels/motels……it's $150, which is extremely excessive. Other than that, the breakfast was good and hot, friendly staff, very clean rooms and bathrooms. They get 5 stars ✨ for that.

I stayed here for one night on a road trip from FL to OH. The area was quiet, the room was nice, bed was comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was great in the morning. The bathroom was a bit on the small side, but clean and functional. No complaints.

My daughter and I took a trip together from Florida. We have been to Savannah many times, but usually stay more downtown, but the price of hotels was outrageous. I took a chance here just being far away, but it was a great place to stay. The room was super clean, and the staff was very nice. It was not too far from downtown, and other places were located nearby. The beds were comfy, and there were plenty of pillows! That is one of my complaints about staying in hotels sometimes, not enough pillows! The breakfast was good, and the staff was friendly even during a very busy breakfast. The sweet lady made sure to say good morning to every guest that came in. Even though it is not downtown, I will be staying here again when we come back!

After two bad experiences in booking Quality Inn and La Quinta Inn, we ended up here. THANK GOD! It was actually clean! I recommend to spend the extra little bit of money if you are on a budget to sleep in a clean facility. The staff was very nice and professional. The only issue that I would report is that the water temperature needed to be adjusted for the shower as it ran EXTREMELY hot. This could pose severe issues for anyone with children as this could scald a child (and would lead to a lawsuit for not being regulated at a safe temp). Other than that one issue, we were able to enjoy our stay.

Room seemed clean but was very small. Front desk was rude and didn't know most info asked about the property. Bath tub was gross but beds were nice. Room phone didn't work. Pool was almost always closed even tho it should've been open during the day.

The room layout was fine, We had a small fridge and a microwave . The bed was comfortable and clean. It was quiet. We did not make it for breakfast, but were able to get coffee in the morning. The morning front desk people including Mgr. Abram were very polite and wished us a good day. We were missing some toiletries and towels, so check your room first..

We enjoyed our stay. VERY CLEAN! Our room was very upto date. They had soap, conditioner, body wash in the shower. It was to cold to enjoy the pool, but took advantage of seating. Close to a lot of attractions. Daniella, at check in was very curtious. My husband enjoyed the full breakfast. The elderly lady over seeing it is very friendly and helpful. We were very impressed. Thank you for making our stay stress free.

The coffee was hot and always available. The room clean and the bed comfortable. The TV had more channels than I have at home so…heck yeah! Breakfast was standard fare but I still get a kick out of the waffle maker. Kids always love it. Worth the price. And many restaurants nearby…one famous “House” is next door. And getting to the tourist areas is easy despite not being “in the middle” of everything.

We were really surprised with the ease of finding this hotel, the check in, room location, and cleanliness. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is adequate, but it ends so early that it was a bit inconvenient, otherwise a very positive stay.

For routine travelling (not full vacations) we choose to stay at lower priced motels and it's always very unpredictable. We've stayed in places that have MANY negatives...but not this one!!! Gorgeous room, large room, all amenities you would want, VERY clean! We got a real kick out of the helicopters and airplanes overhead because it is very near an Air Natioal Guard stallation.. some may put that as a negative, but they were quiet at night. Beautiful landscaping that was being updated while we were there...will be awesome soon. Nice pool, great location for Savannah sightseeing (15 minute drive). I don't hesitate to recommend this motel. We had a King room.

Friendly staff from front desk to breakfast. The room and appliances are clean. The exterior including the parking lot is clean. The rooms are exterior, but the exterior door has new weather stripping to ensure an energy efficient room. Oglethorpe Mall is down the road with an AMC theater. An overall great hotel if passing through on I-95 or visiting Historic Savannah on a budget.

The staff were all very friendly. Free breakfast was quite good and had a good range of food. Sausage and eggs well cooked, but not overcooked. The room was very clean. For us, the location was handy to various places we needed to go. Plenty of restaurant choices in the area. Access to the motel was easy.

Is this the Ritz? No its not but it is affordable and when pulling into the parking lot the facility looked clean. The staff is very friendly. There are many restaurants near by. The have a hot breakfast. The rooms need a little attention but are large and comfortable and clean. The shower is hot and has pressure. The towels are small and rough but manageable for an overnight stay. Its also near the Army base. I would stay here again.

This place was perfect for a stay in Savannah. The room was super clean, fresh and in order when we arrived. Plenty of fresh towels for our stay. The room had plenty of charge ports and plugs for all your tech devices. The hot breakfast was great way to start your day before exploring Savannah. The location was just a short drive into historic Savannah, less than 8 mins. The drive allows you to see plenty of classic scenery before you hit downtown.

Just passing through so I'm not sure how great the location was for visiting downtown but the room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful, especially Kayla who checked us in. Thank you for a great stay!

If you want an affordable place out of historic Savannah but with easy access, this is the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable. The carpet need a deep cleaning but it will not affect your stay.

Every morning house keeping made sure we had clean towels the bed linens was clean and fresh smelling they were very friendly and the kitchen staff was right on point the breakfast was hot alone with the coffee and they came out and spoke with everyone, the staff was great this hotel was one of the cleanest one we ever stayed at, yes yes yes we will be coming back to this hotel

Delightful hotel with very nice large rooms and very large beds. The restaurant is also very nice serving a very good breakfast even though when we went down it was very busy but one is able to serve oneself quickly. Parking is easy and right outside one's room

It's not right off I-95! The lobby and rooms have a musty smell. Room was clean. Breakfast was better than some. Staff super friendly and helpful. No elevators. For the price, I have stayed in much better hotels with more amenities and no musty smell

It was just what we needed. Spacious, clean, good breakfast . The microwave and refrigerator were a nice touch. Front desk staff was very helpful. The lady who kept the breakfast are stocked was attentive and helpful.

My husband & I read the reviews - and if you read the low rated reviews, don't believe it. We are here right now. Yes we're near the army base- haven't heard a single plane, until the 2nd week. room is so clean and really comfy. The staff are soooooo very friendly and helpful. The rooms are outside hotel, and there are stairs to go to 2nd floor. If you can't go up stairs, just ask for help. Or take a few things at a time. At first I said oh nooooo! It's old fashioned! What's the room gonna be like!? Well, I was surprised to walk into a modern room just like other best westerns- everything works. I'm sitting in a chair praying, watching tv before we go on our adventures. so quiet I didn't hear anything from Hunter Air Force , until the 2nd week of our stay. this didn't bother us. They started their training or whatever. They had planes flying every 5 min to every hour with lots of breaks in between. They were louder than planes flying higher up. Now we're used to planes n helicopters in our area cause the planes from a major airport near us have their flight pattern over us. They started about 9 am to maybe 10pm with long breaks in between. Didn't bother us, but it's worth it to save a lot more money than any other hotel. IF YOU DONT CARE ABOUT THE PLANES, YOU WILL ENJOY YOUR STAY HERE! DIDNT HEAR ANY OTHER THING FROM OUTSIDE!!

I really loved this property. It felt very modern with blue light accents. Everything was fresh and it felt brand new. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were clean and spacious. The pool was also nice but the weather didn't permit using it. The only couple things that where slightly on the negative where the fact that I had to pay the taxes for a free night and that the hotel was really exposed to the very busy city area. I had my bike on a bike rack on the back of the car and I felt like I had to go see if it was still there every couple of hours, as it was clearly visible from the waffle house, next-door. And I say slightly, because that may only be in my mind and I don't mind paying $36 for a Saturday's stay, it just surprised me since I've never had to pay anything for a three night.

This is a good, reasonably priced hotel. Management knows their neighborhood, which is Party Headquarters on holidays and weekends. Mid-week, end of September, we had zero noise. Reviews must be at least 200 charters, for some reason, so now it is.

I stayed at the Central Inn, in Savannah, GA for 2 nights in room 168. The room was very clean, and very comfortable. Though I was only 2 doors from the road, the room was quiet. I did not hear any traffic noise or other vehicles in the parking lot. I have very good hearing. The only downside was that the shower did not have ANY cold water. The refrigerator did not cool, no matter the setting and the freezer did not freeze. I didn't say anything until just before I left. I didn't want anyone entering the room during my stay. I would stay there again. I would request that room. The hotel is also centrally located to restaurants and is about 2 miles to the freeway. There is also a nice park 1.5 miles away. Across the street, there is the Diner on Abercorn. They have a nice vegan menu. I had the Buffalo Wings. (Just bring some dental floss) ;) They mostly have conventional food.

Clean. Neat. Pleasant people. Breakfast good. Excellent breakfast staff older lady and Young Jamaican lady. Kept area clean during entire breakfast, replenishing and welcoming. Greeted everyone each morning. Hotel price reasonable near mall,not from from downtown activities. I was skeptical because I am use to staying at more high end hotel. My husband chose this because of price. It was a pleasant surprise. Our room was ready early. We got a text asking us about our accommodations the first night and again at the end. We even extended another day with no problems and our discounted price thru the third party was accepted. The housekeeping staff was nice and accommodating. The only issue was small pill milipede insects in the bathroom in the morning, 4 at the most. Easily flushed away in the toilet, secondly, housekeeping did not clean our room the first day after we told them we were staying fora few days, however, the third day, I emptied trash and asked for clean towels and gave them the old ones as they passed by in the morning. The next day they came by on their own. We may have gotten missed first Dat because once they leave the area, they may not cone back by. All and all a pleasant stay.

I thought everything at this motel was good. Bed was comfortable and the free breakfast was very good. I would rate it a 5..but it's a motel and they have a tendency to be little more noisy than hotels.

Here's the pros and cons: Pros: nice sized room, continuous AC fan, decent bed, fridge with actual separate freezer, nice carpet, clean, breakfast with lots of choices. Cons: uncomfortable, flimsy sheets and coverlet, shower head not great, fridge almost fell out of the cabinet, breakfast had lots of choices but wasn't as stellar as other reviewers say, pillows very standard and not that comfortable, staff nothing to write home about. Bed was just a thick mattress, no box spring. Neighborhood and some of the clientele not too great. Overall, it was fine but not as great as other Best Westerns we've visited.

Enjoyed our stay, the room was fresh and clean. Staff was very lovely and helpful, breakfast was delicious although the eggs could have been hotter. I must say the pool area was absolutely lovely! The pool was spotlessly clean and very refreshing.

Convenient location to grocery stores, restaurants and shops. Free parking, outdoor pool. Cons: Smallish room, even for 1 person. Room smelled a bit mildewy, albeit clean. Fairly priced. I would recommend and revisit if in the area.

I got lost and ended up staying here the night. I have not come across such helpful reception staffs who gave me a nice bed to rest and in the morning a good direction and great send off. WiFi signal was weak. More detailed cleaning required.

I stayed here because of all the good reviews I saw here. What a mistake! Drove 13 hours from the northeast en route to FL and stopped here for a quick overnight. Upon arrival, ALL the vending machines that dispensed bottled water were all out. I went to the office and kindly asked if they had any. They did not. Wondered why a motel that serves food could not have back up bottled water for guests. Hair dryer was broken( two different people sent over to investigate....why would I lie about a broken hairdryer?) Microwave did not work.Cable went out. Maintenance hovered outside our door in the morning as we packed up so they could replace broken hairdryer ( even though we left 3 hours before check out), and kept asking if we were leaving yet. Sheets were like sandpaper. Low flying helicopters from airfield next door flying all day and all night made sleep impossible. Motel is on a very busy street. I left here more exhausted than when we arrived. No more motels for me.

We stayed 3 nights -friday night thru Sunday night. They have a nice breakfast but be warned- the week-end hours are not the same as week day. All week-end breakfast ended at 10, On Monday morning, it ended at 9. We are early birds so we got breakfast, but our friends came later thinking they had til 10 and they missed breakfast. There should be sign somewhere telling people this. Other than that, the holtel was nice. they even turned the lights on in the dining area one night so that our little group could go in a play a game. We did not need our room cleaned each day, but the staff was always there to give us fresh towels. The pool was nice and clean. It was refreshing for those hot humid days.

I took a chance based on other's glowing reviews of this hotel. A 70 something mom, my 50 something self, and my 20 something daughter so there were a lot of generations to please. And it was a hit. From comfort to cleanliness to quietness, even with airplanes flying overhead that first night, but ended around 11:00 so it didn't disturb sleep, and I honestly don't remember if airplanes flew overhead the next two days. It was comfortable and clean and easy to get in and out of, and convenient to everywhere, and probably a better price than any other moderate hotel in the area. I really couldn't be more pleased, and would make this choice again if I go back to Savannah. Staff friendly, breakfast terrific, beds so comfortable, just great

Front desk staff was so helpful and courteous. The breakfast was great. A/c in room really cold and comfortable. Rooms were so clean and housekeeping was constantly seen working and cleaning to make the hotel spotless. All around great stay and convenient to historic downtown Savannah.

We were pleasantly surprised with the delicious breakfast! So many options! Our room was spotless and even when we said we didn't need room service, the super friendly staff insisted we take clean towels! The pool was great and well maintained.

When we pulled in i thought this is a really busy hotel. But the staff nice, room was clean, the floor was clean, bed comfortably. The sounds of helicopters all day long does happen with being so close to the base but was quite during the night. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in this area. Also it isn't far from downtown Savannah.

Facility is not new but clean, staff all friendly and helpful. Room next to military airfield so the sound of freedom training was ample. Breakfast was warm and standard fare with little for any special diets or diabetics, so best come prepared as needed. No sugar free options or whole wheat except artificial sweeteners for coffee.

Although not in a historic area felt safe here. Hotel was extremely well kept and clean. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Free parking, nice pool. Appears family owned and they should be proud of their hotel. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a nice place to stay without all the historic district charges.

Check in was super easy, our room was clean and nice, breakfast was excellent with many choices. Great value. There is a pool but we did not use it. Next time we return, I will use Best Western again.

We were only staying one night in Savannah and location was very convenient to where we needed to go. One block from Ole Time Country Buffet. Room was clean. Plenty of parking spaces. Breakfast offered a good selection and attendants were very helpful.

The rooms were clean. It's about 5-10 miles from downtown. Great location if you don't want to stay downtown. Breakfast was great and the check in process was very easy! We would stay here again. We did not utilize anything else on the property since we were only there to shower and sleep. We did not have any issues with any noise from the planes.

The overall stay was excellent! Room was extremely clean, room service came every morning, breakfast was free and delicious (pancake machine was extremely slow), free parking close to room! 20 minutes to back about 12 minutes to river street!

Everything and everyone was awesome…from the desk clerk to the house keepers. Everyone was nice and accommodating. The communication through text was amazing. I felt like I was talking to family instead of a stranger. I'm a people person and so is the staff.

Room was close to the Historic District but not in it which made it more affordable. It was clean and the staff was very accommodating, very friendly. It was a bit pricey on the weekend but overall, it's a great place to stay.

This is a restful motel with a professional, friendly staff. My room was super clean, quiet, cool, and the bed was firm and comfortable. Here one night on a road trip. I would stay here again. Good coffee!

A breath of fresh air compared to the Quality Inn practically across the street that I had originally booked. I left the Quality Inn after 2 night due to complete lack of cleanliness and feeling unsafe. I called the Best Western to see if they had availability, explained to the gentleman on the phone that I was leaving my current hotel due to total dissatisfaction. He offered to hold a room for me and when I got there he showed my the room to make sure it was acceptable before I booked. A complete 180 from the other place. I felt safe being there with my daughter, the rooms were clean and fresh, the property overall was very clean. The staff was accommodating and friendly. The price was midrange and a great value for the money! I would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Stayed 3 nights, the rooms were clean and the staff was friendly all around. The breakfast was good as well as the staff refilling items. It was a pleasant stay. Only suggestion would be is to turn on air conditioning in rooms when it is hot so they are cooled when your guests arrive.

I compared this to other economy hotels where we have stayed and found it to have clean, tasteful rooms, friendly service and better breakfast than most in terms of options/variety. We were quite comfortable!

Had a very nice stay here. It's a motel, not a hotel. Near a mall and lots of shopping and restaurants. Modern furnishings, pretty clean, a little dark, could use brighter bulbs. Near an air base so loud airplanes overhead once in a while. No fan in the bathroom. One lamp was rusty and should be replaced. Quiet place until someone slammed a door loudly at 5 a.m. but some guests just do that. Checkout didn't ask how my stay was, but then again hardly anyone does that anymore.

We only stayed one night, but were very pleased. We didn't use the pool, but there were kids enjoying it when we got there. Price was good for only a 15 minute drive to the riverfront/historic area. Lady who checked us in was nice and friendly. We were pleasantly surprised to find a hot breakfast in the morning after the last 2 years with just wrapped pastries for hotel breakfasts!

Great place to stay. Only about 4 miles from downtown Savannah River Street. Close to restaurants and shopping. Room was very clean and beds comfortable. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.Would definitely stay there again.

Property located close to downtown. Room was comfortable. We chose to stay on the 2nd floor, note that there is no elevator, which is fine by us. They had shampoo and soap dispensers in the bathroom. Our room faced the main street and it could be a bit noisy at times. Ask for a room facing the back of the property for a quieter experience. Plenty of parking available. Breakfast was so-so. The scrambled eggs and potatoes weren't that tasty. Other BW's have omelettes. Oatmeal was served out of a vat, instead of individual packets. They did have a touch-less pancake maker, which was pretty cool. I did not see the signature waffle machine. Eating area was close quarters and they had a liberal fake-news channel on while dining. Really not a pleasant experience. Weather Channel would be a better neutral channel to have on. We only only ate breakfast there one morning. The second morning we treated ourselves to a Waffle House breakfast, which was right next door. The property was very affordable compared to staying downtown and it was close enough to the city. The stay wasn't bad, but it wasn't great.

Hotel was very clean, staff was friendly and location was very close to highway and downtown Savannah. Beds were comfortable and bathroom and entire room was very clean. Very nice (typical) Best Western breakfast with varied choices for everyone. Jane in the breakfast room was extremely personable and helpful. She also kept everything very tidy.

outside pool, microwave, tv, firm matresses.. i prefer soft.. management is on top o f things.. i told them about a lite that was out and it was fixed before i finished telling them about it.. this is not a tall hotel.. 2 floors. clean and comfy.. no problems.. continental breakfast in the morning i think... BUT it is easy to miss and you could drive right by it.. so WAZE it...

This hotel has been completely updated and is nice. The room was very clean as well as the outside premises. The pool was nice. The decor was nice and our weekday rate was good. The location was good to be between the historic district and Tybee Island. The location was quiet. We just stayed two nights and didn't eat breakfast at the hotel. I would recommend the hotel and stay again if we were in the area.

My room was clean and the fridge, microwave, clothes iron, ironing board, tv, ac, shower, and lighting, all worked very well. I'll be back when I return to Savannah for business. Sink fixture was loose but no problems with using it. Small gap under door but I blocked it with a few tissues, just to be sure no creepy crawlies come in.

Room very clean, everything working and updated no problems at all everyone friendly and respectful made sure we where enjoying our stay and security very well kept all sheets and towels where not yellow or stained

The pictures make it look nicer than what it actually is. It is pretty convenient to downtown historic area… About a 15 minute drive. It is very basic and the room was clean, but kind of dingy and musty smelling. Cost was too much for this hotel. We didn't have the breakfast, we went to a little restaurant a couple of miles away.

This is a very nice hotel at a great price. The rooms have been updated with modern features. Mattresses are comfortable if you like a firm mattress ( it was a bit too hard for me but the others in my party slept comfortably). The pool and patio area is nice and a great place to socialize in the evening. The breakfast was simple but good with a nice variety of food. The staff were all nice. It is centrally located with most attractions a short drive away. There is a military base close by and the planes do fly overhead frequently but they are quite fascinating to watch. This doesn't occur late at night and doesn't affect one from getting a good night's rest. I would definitely stay here again if I return to the area and recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Savannah.

Clean, quiet, lots of choices for breakfast. Good location, free parking. Bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. It's near an air force base so we heard a few planes fly over. The breakfast staff was friendly and accommodating.

Visiting Savannah on a quick girl's getaway. This place is off the beaten path, which makes it feel fairly safe, secure, and very quiet. Easy parking, easy access to downtown. The breakfast was decent, and the servers go out of their way to keep it cleaned in between guests slopping food around.

Overall the hotel was good. The location is not too bad. Could have been better. Short drive to River street. The only complaint we have is how uncomfortable the bed was and the air conditioner was not working too great. Breakfast was great! Staff was friendly!

when we arrived, we felt a bit mislead by the pictures on the website. this is a very basic motel. the staff was very nice and the rooms were very clean. beds are not very comfortable. overall we had a good stay, would have probably found something nicer close by for a little more money.

Paid for my booking in advance, yet the hotel decided to charge me a second time upon arrival without telling me - only noticed when the charge when I checked my credit card statement. Hotel are now taking 5-7 days to process a refund. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

This was the best hotel experience I have had in the past 5 years. The desk staff were efficient and friendly, the room was immaculate. I felt safe and comfortable. I recommend this place 100%. PS I typically never write reviews but had to for this place. J

Excellent, many power outlets, including standard USB outlets. Air conditioner worked fine. Convenient parking. Lighting as dim; would appreciate more and brighter lights. Vey good breakfast with automatic pancake maker. Waffle House was located next to it. As we had been eating too much lately, we had a tasty light dinner of hamburger, sandwich, 2 waffles and iced tea.

There is only 1 handicapped room available and it is not suitable for someone in a wheelchair. The space between the bedroom and the bathroom is tight ( even for a small, motorized wheelchair- a large motorized chair would not fit). The low tub in the bathroom only has one safety handrail, with no seat or shower hose. It was unable to be used by someone in a wheelchair. Other than that, the hotel was good. Friendly staff, plentiful breakfast, clean facility and good location.

Last-minute stay was needed when we were driving from Florida to Ohio. We didn't have our luggage which included basic amenities like toothbrushes and toothpaste and a few other things, the front desk staff was super helpful and provided us with things we needed for no extra charge. The continental breakfast in the morning was exceptional for the price of the room. I was really impressed with the attendant in the dining area that was staying on top of keeping everything available for people to eat and cleaning as everyone went, I felt very comfortable and she was very nice.

Clean, comfortable and conveniently located, even to the historic district. We are BW regulars on our road trips because most of the older ones offer smoking rooms. At this location, all smoking rooms are at the back side of the hotel. Will book again on our next trip to Savannah.

Overall this is a nice motel really wish they had a elevator a flight of stairs with 2 toodlers is a nightmare. Beds were comfortable and rooms were nice and the ladies at breakfast were amazing along with the food would definitely stay here again

I cannot understand why this hotel got such a high rating. The only thing I can speak to is that it is inexpensive. It is in a bad part of town, and with little in the way of decent food to recommend it. The hotel is directly in the flight path of airplanes from the nearby base. It appears fairly clean, although I had to go to the front desk to ask for soap slivers. I do not recommend.

Stayed for the St. Paddy day parade. Got to our viewing area very quickly from the hotel. Rooms was well updated for order style motel. Everything worked, good shower pressure. Breakfast area was nice, food good. Area was quiet, pool nice. Would stay again.

Super clean with excellent staff! I know it looks like motel, but it was great for us. Its quite updated, new fixtures and carpets. Seriously not a bit of dirt or dust. Parking lot is so clean you could picnic on it! I attempted to book for same week this year and it was no where near $75 a night like last year, but was $209 a night, so we didn't stay. If the pool was indoor, we would have sucked it up. The outdoor pool is nice, but still too cold in March/April. When price is sun $150 I would say it's a good deal.

Breakfast was very good, and the staff was exceptional. The only issue was planes flying over were very loud. We were only eighjt miles from Old Savannah, so we got a taxi there, we had a wonderful time.

My stay at this Best Western was enjoyable! Prices were great, room was clean, staff was friendly and responsive and the free hot breakfast was wonderful! All the places I wanted to see in Savannah were a quick 15 min drive. Will definitely stay there again!

Clean rooms, nicely decorated, wonderful staff, and great Wifi. It can be a bit pricey for a weekend room, however, considering the other hotels in the area Best Western Central Inn Savannah is well worth it.

I had one of the worst experiences with this Hotel. I booked a room from my Best Western account for a room at this location but when I arrived at the hotel for check in, they assigned me a smoking room to stay in. I mentioned that I cannot stay smoking and I booked a non-smoking room. Manager promised me the hotel would not charge me and she cancelled the reservation and I left to stay at another hotel. Few days later, I found a charge from the hotel on my credit card. I contacted the credit card company to dispute the transaction, however the hotel lied to the credit card company and mentioned I booked the room through a third party (Expedia) and denied the claim. Later I contacted the customer service corporation, and again the hotel manager claimed the reservation was not refundable. Never will I ever stay at any Best Western hotel for how they treat the customer. I had a similar experience several years ago (smoking and non-smoking room) at Hilton but they sent me several apologies with written letters, emails, gift cards ,and etc.

Apparently vacuuming is not part of the cleaning process for this hotel. Major attitude from the front desk when I called to complain and ask that it be cleaned up. Definitely has the feel of a 1.5 star motel. There have to better options in the area. I expect so much better from the Best Western franchise. SMH!

This hotel was very clean, in perfect working order, sound proof room with professional and friendly staff. We have stayed in many hotels over the last year and was starting to loose faith in them. We were considering going to VRBO's but this one renewed the reason we like hotels. Comfortable, clean and we had the option to have maid service or not. We chose not to but had plenty of room amenities for our three nights. Perfect location to enjoy Savanna with out being in traffic areas.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Our room was nice, had a king bed, a small refrigerator & microwave. It was clean. It is adjacent to an Army Airbase so helicopters flew nearby or overhead. We were there between Christmas and New Years, so that was minimal and not late at night. We were told on arrival that breakfast was served from 6-9AM, apparently some other guests didn't know that. The breakfast was pretty good, a pancake machine, scrambled eggs, sausage, hash, a variety of cereals, bagels, bread, orange & apple juice, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. We would stay here again. It is also centrally located.

Spent 2 nights at this motel. Our room was clean and updated. Our room was in the second building on the property but literally only a 2 minute walk to the lobby. Breakfast was pretty good but the room was small for the amount of people in it so we took our food back to our room.

I have stayed at this hotel location on numerous occasions. The staff have always been friendly, helpful and very pleasant. The facility is well kept with clean exterior as well as interior. Convenient to restaurants and shopping.

Staff was friendly. Rooms could be a bit cleaner, bed looked like it had been laid in and floor hadn't been vacuumed (found old bev. Straw on floor). And breakfast was so-so. The location was good, easy to get to and from places. Not too far from airport or historic downtown.

Nice place to stay in Savannah, Georgia. Very affordable, nice room and quiet, good hot breakfast, nice staff, near to a variety of eating places. Easy drive to historic Savannah or to a nearby state park with hiking trails.

We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions over the past 3 years. The room has always been clean, the breakfast is very good and the hotel is convenient to all that Savannah has to offer. On this particular stay we had an issue with Expedia (we always book our hotel through Expedia.) We had prepaid for the room via Expedia. When we checked in the hotel did not have the payment from Expedia. The front desk clerk Austin was absolutely fantastic! He was patient, helpful and just an absolute pleasure to work with. He helped us navigate the issue with Expedia with patience and respect. Although the issue was not with the hotel Austin went above and beyond to ensure we were able to get checked in and settled in our room. Thank you Austin!!

Stayed at this motel for one night while passing through savanna was very impressed by the cleanliness the friendliness and the safety Of cameras on all the common areas at the facility of this motel, i've had traveled a lot and stayed at many of Best Western In my travels from Florida this has to be the best that I have ever stayed at And I give thanks to the owner and the employees that made this stay so pleasant and safe feeling for me

The hotel is across the road from an Army helicopter training facility so...yeah... The room was equipped with less than a roll of TP so luckily it was noticed before it was too late. That could have been disastrous.

We stayed just one night, but it was a nice experience. Quiet, good location, awesome full breakfast. The room was clean, and it's budget friendly. I would definitely stay here again next time we visit the Savannah area.

This is a decent hotel if you're on a budget, it's fairly clean, the breakfast is decent however it ends far too early, 9a! Our tub drain was clogged and housekeeping knocked on our door at 9AM even with a do not disturb sign and woke us. Honestly for me that's very upsetting, check out is at 11a and no one should knock on the door before then. But the parking is free, it's a very easy drive to the historic areas where everyone is trying to go, it seems safe, it's fairly quiet, good budget option hotel.

Stayed at the best Western in Savannah conveniently located to downtown and all amenities. Staff was very eager to clean room , rooms were clean one of the best nights sleep I've had in a long time. This is the first review I've done highly recommend this location.

This hotel was a decent place to stay in Savannah. It was about a 20 minute drive to the historic district. As it is the age of COVID, daily housekeeping service was not offered. However, a hot breakfast was served. The breakfast room was well maintained and guests were asked to use disposable gloves. My only issue was that mask wearing was not enforced in the breakfast room which was disconcerting as it was not a very large area. Room was clean and comfortable.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was great. It was hot with a lot of selections. After checking out, they let us keep our luggage in a safe place in the lobby while we waited for our train to leave.

If you want to save $300 and use that money for an incredible meal or famous piece art then this is where you want to be…clean pool and well kept property with fresh ice and $1 Pepsi at the vending machine. Family run and maintained to the highest European standards. VERDICT: Guilty of managing a hotel the right way….gray service and clean, clean, clean.

I'm here at the Best Western now Labor Day weekend. They have tiny bugs everywhere in my kids and mom room 263. Mom asked to change rooms when they noticed them tonight after we got back from exploring. The front desk told her they since we had the room longer than 30 minutes that they can not change rooms. We checked in at 5:30 took showers and left right after to go downtown to eat. Which is why we had the room longer than 30 minutes, so they have extra room just wont switch. Well I called also and ask to speak to a manager and they are refusing to change their room. Best Western expect them to sleep in a room full of tiny bugs. I will be calling health inspectors and everyone else that I think of. I have a video of the bugs that show better since the bugs are so tiny but I can't upload it. These bug are in the bathroom, all over the table that is attached to the bed and all over the floor by the headboard. They had the nerve to tell us we can come get a can roach spray from the front office to spray the room ourselves. This is totally the worst hotel ever and I travel a lot. Do yourself a favor if you choose to stay here really check for bugs upon arrival. Never will I ever stay or recommended this hotel.

Very good value for the money and about a 15 minute from Savannah. Well maintained pool with a nice shaded area from the sun. Nicely renovated rooms with friendly staff and management. Other family in area has stayed there with positive experiences.

Located in a terrible part of town w/ seedy looking guests - I felt unsafe when outside and feared my car would get broken into overnight. Sink did not drain water as stopper was broken. Front desk clerk at checkin had no mask on even though there is a mask mandate indoors. Bathtub was a lil dirty and needs to be cleaned better. Pictures are misleading on website as it does not show you the awful location of hotel - seedy people and you just get the feel you are entering a drug dealing/crime area of the city... never again will I stay here - especailly at a rate of $120!! Complete ripoff for that price and will contact corporate for a hopeful credit of some sort.

I spent a night here on my way down to Florida. Overall, it is a very good value for the money. The premises are clean & well-kept, staff is friendly, and the room was clean. The location is in close proximity to downtown Savannah, without having to pay downtown Savannah prices. However, there is a considerable amount of airplane noise from the Air Force base a few blocks from the hotel (the hotel was very quiet otherwise) & there is not much to do or see in the area around the hotel itself. They do have a free buffet breakfast, but we opted out of it because the breakfast area was a bit small & quite crowded.

Worst sleep ever. Mattress had our bodies in so much pain. Had to take off work to get some temporary relief with chiro and massage. Didn't feel like this with king bed on our visit in June but double beds were uncomfortable

Very relaxing for my 14 Anniversary my wife was very happy. It's very important to me that she be safe during this COVID-19 Pandemic. She was very happy with our stay. We play in the pool and went to Tybee beach and it was close to the hotel, only a 30 minute drive.

We spent over 600 bucks at this hotel. Out of the four nights we stayed breakfast wasn't enjoyable, and our room never was turned over though we didn't utilize the do not disturb sign. Staff members were very rude about it.

The only problem I had was out of the hotel's control. People running up and down the hall late in the night. Only happened one night a bunch of kids that parents obviously were not paying attention to.

Thoroughly enjoyed this super clean budget friendly hotel! Comfortable beds, and we loved the morning breakfast and fresh coffee. The staff was very courteous and accommodating. Perfect for our girl's get away. It's close enough to Savannah, but out away from the hustle. Took us less than 30 mins to ride over to Tybee for the day. Hunter AF base is near by, so while out at the pool, we even got to see some cool aircraft buzzing through the neighborhood. Fun tine! Will definitely return on our next trip to Savannah.

My stay was an overall good experience. I was very surprised at how the rooms looked, it exceeded my expectations. Becuase of covid I wish the breakfast option was suited to fit more people to sit down, but having everyone wear plastic gloves to get their food was a smart idea.

Room was spacious, and staff were very friendly. Room, specifically the bathroom floor, could have been cleaner. Breakfast was great - gloves were provided and required for handling items in the breakfast area. We really appreciated that. Easy drive into the tourist area. Would likely stay there again if visiting the area.

I had made the reservation through Expedia and I won't be doing that again. They didn't have my reservation and I had paid Expedia extra for my reservation. I had to get a smoking room because that was all that was left. It was extremely hot in the room when we got there. The first night was great, but after that it was extremely noisy.

I was very satisfied with my stay here. The room was clean! I seen some reviews about housekeeping staff still coming into clean even with DND sign on the door. I personally didn't have that issue. Since traveling solo I felt safe here as well. Another bonus is that it was quiet at night! Got some good rest! I would recommend if you are making a short visit.

This hotel is about 5 miles from historic river street, Well worth the ride to save huge compared to closer hotels. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly. Breakfast was good and the breakfast workers were extremely nice. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again

The staff was always cleaning!! Every area inside and out was clean. Toiletries could have been better, (no hair conditioner) Pool area was nice, we had pizza delivered and sat at the tables by the pool to eat. Shade and a nice breeze. The landscaping was beautiful. Hot breakfast was back and was well stocked.

Good hotel. It was close to historic district. And parking at hotel is free. The bed was comfortable. Room clean. Quiet area. Room service and staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was your usual eggs, sausage , waffles, cereal. The lady who ran the breakfast was very nice and kept everyone wearing disposable gloves when handling the food. We were in Savannah for a wedding. I liked this property because it was nicely priced and close to a lot of shopping and restaurants and away from the party scene. The property was well kept, the pool was clean and the rooms were clean with no odor, a big plus! Breakfast was good and the staff was very polite and attentive. Nice to see when customer service a lot of places is lacking.

we did not have an issue with anything, the weather was great a little cool at night , which was good. went to the river front and had an excellent time. however, the parking was a problem with large crowd. wasn't able to park closed by.

This hotel is easy to find for those that are in Savannah for the first time, and convenient to visit Hunter Army Airfield. A Waffle House is right next door and is great for breakfast. Rooms are adequate and the staff is friendly, however, covid procedures for room cleaning are still in effect.

This hotel was very clean. The person attending our room was very helpful and our room was great. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was open, but less than I would have liked. I'm sure that is another impact of COVID. I hope they will be able to correct this soon, and offer proteins within the breakfast options. The made-fresh waffles are always GREAT!

There is no internet during our stay. The room has a nasty smell. The breakfast is very simple without egg or meet. The pool is closed though it is 93F. The only good thing is the location of this hotel, close to downtown Savannah and Tybee Island.

This particular Best Western was a wonderful surprise. It was incredibly clean and the staff was amazing. I always send my husband in to check out the cleanliness of rooms before we check in and we both were stunned how spotless ours was. The staff was amazing and we will definitely come back to this particular one when we visit Savannah again.

Room was ok. Pretty clean but found hair in the bathtub and stains on the carpets. Room was pretty dark and had a kind of musty smell. Very close to airfield. At one point we woke up in the middle of the night to a plane landing what seemed like right above our head it was extremely loud and woke us both up. The breakfast was decent and the staff was very friendly. It's a good place for what it is if you're just looking for a place to stay the night but nothing to be wowed about.

Stopped here for one night on trip from FL to NJ. Very clean room. Bed very comfy. Reasonable rates. Easy check in and out. Front desk staff nice. They accommodated our request for later check out. Were lucky we did not hear any planes/helicopters overhead (like other reviewers did) until check out.

It was a good price and near Tybee Island and Historic Savannah. The staff was welcoming and covid precautions were taken seriously. The room was clean, bed was comfy and I thought we would hear a lot of helicopters but we did not hear any. Coffee was in the room. The pool was clean but I do not know if it was open. The flowers were very pretty and well kept on the property. The parking areas and hotel was neat and tidy with staff constantly cleaning. Breakfast area had muffins, yogurt and juices available and coffee was good.

Hotel was clean, very quiet, and in good location. Breakfast was awful, not fulfilling and nothing good to eat. Cold cereal and plain nasty bagels. Hostess was bossy. The check staff were very nice and helpful.

Every member of the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is located near several restaurants and is easy to find your way to most places in Savannah. We had a king room which was quite large for a budget hotel. There was a nice chair with ottoman in the room as well. Our room smelled freshly cleaned and the cleanliness of the room itself was impeccable. The bed was comfortable and we had plenty of pillows. I do wish that there was a blanket in addition to the thin comforter and top sheet. There were plenty of towels and washcloths. Soap and shampoo were provided. Our coffee and cups were replaced each day. The housekeeper asked what cleaning we wanted done to our room each day and we got what we asked for. There is no hot breakfast. Just muffins, pastries,toast, yogurt and fruit. Using your hands or tongs to pick up an apple is no different than using them to pick up a piece of sausage to me so I really think it's time to bring back their full breakfast. One MAJOR issue that some may have is that it is literally next to an army airfield. Planes and helicopters are constantly moving about. One of our nights (out of 5) the planes flew so low over our hotel we had to cover our ears because of the noise. The room shook also. If you looked outside you may think they're going to hit the hotel! They did stop flying over at 10pm but I don't know how regularly this happens. All in all it was a very pleasant stay.

The stay was advertised as having a full hot breakfast which was an important factor choosing this motel. It was coffee and a quarter sized muffin. Very disappointing to say the least. I figure the motel owes me about $60 dollars for three breakfasts for two people but I know I'll never see that. Will not be choosing Best Western in the future. As retired folks that travel a lot, this should concern the owner but my expectations are low.

This hotel is directly adjacent to Hunter Army Air Field and LOUD jets fly over all day every weekday. There will be no sleeping in and no going to bed early. The first time I heard it, I honestly thought it was an impending plane crash.

This hotel is in an excellent location close to downtown Savannah all within 5-10 minutes drive. Lots of restaurants of various cuisines around all within 5 minutes drive. We were lucky to have an excellent housekeeping staff that kept the rooms very clean during our stay. They changed the sheets regularly, clean towels as well as sanitizing some areas of the room. Excellent hotel and good location and best bang for your budget.

The rooms smelled awful, and it might be because there was a half-inch gap between the floor and door frame. It rained all of the week leading up to our check in, so it was probably from that, but it was just such a distinct smell, it didnt quite smell moldy, but maybe kinda skunky. I can't really place it. Going back to the door, if you know anything about lock security, you would know that the further away any lock is away from the door frame, the easier it is to open. In some cases you can open it with any kind of card. It didn't feel safe... especially because the room is so dark. We had to turn on every single lamp on our way to the back of the room and then the mirror light for the bathroom is so bright it blinded us... but also lit up the entire room, but why not have a light bulb in the ceiling to begin with? We only stayed 5 mins before we left. It didnt feel safe, it smelled awful, and we couldn't see anything.

This is a motel style place which in these times works well as you enter the room directly from outside. Room was clean. It is about 8 miles from the historic center but for at least a third of the price of what you find there. We drove to downtown and found free parking on the street. Breakfast was not great, just a few items; but hey! overall it was a good price.

Check in was a nightmare!! I called literally 2 times to check if there are any extra charges or fees before check in because all hotels always do, but I was told something else. the person o spoke with told me there will be no extra charges and we do not charge anything until you check out besides $100 for a deposit. The day of my reservation they put a hold on my card for $76 plus wanted to charge my charge the about of my stay and wanted $100 deposit as well. so all in all I had to come out my pocket $316. Once we got into the room there was hair still all over the bathroom and counter which I had cleaned my self. Pretty sad Best Western if you ask me. Especially when your a Best Western member

This hotel was fine.... it was clean and what you expect for a mid-priced hotel. I asked about breakfast at check in and was told yes we have pastries .... so I went down and they had the small chocolate and powdered sugar mini donuts from a bag.... and a muffin..... dont say and charge for a breakfast when you dont really have one. I get it in these times..... just say no breakfast!!!!

Makes me sad to have to post a negative review but Not my favorite Best Western. The walls were so thin! It sounded like everyone was in our room. Lots of activity outside our room late at night. Got very little sleep. Shower was lukewarm that night. My husband tried to shower the next morning and there wasn't any hot water. Called the desk and informed them and they said they would send someone over. We waited for a while and gave up and left. As we we're leaving the guy showed up and said the pilot had gone out during the night. We understand that things like that happen but not getting a shower is the pits!

Stayed at this particular motel 3 times over the last 3 years. My criteria was economy, but I was more amazed at how neat and clean the whole place was and how there was not a scuff mark on any door or wall, inside or out. At first, I thought it might have been recently renovated, but three years later it's just as impeccable. Also, it's a 5 mile straight shot to the historic downtown district, without the expense.

this is a nice, rather large located away from downtown, and priced accordingly, nice stay except for : phone in room didn't work, dial tone only girl at desk thought they had three laundry rooms, the only one she didn't describe was next to the office blow dryer worked for 30 seconds then did, again and again some shady types sitting out in lot smoking pot way past dark you decide, my wife was afraid to walk across lot after dark, sometimes you get what you pay for

We stayed here for a whole week at the end of July, 2020. The woman at check-in was super nice and funny. Our room was very nice and roomy. We had no problems with anything in the room except for the drain in the tub started to clog towards the end of our stay. This hotel is in a convenient area located close to many places to eat and shop. We were only 20 minutes from Tybee Island, 15 minutes to downtown Savannah, and about an hour to Hilton Head beach. There were only two things that we didn't like about our stay. The most important one is them closing the pool area strictly at or before 9:00 pm every night. We really enjoyed sitting by the pool sipping on our drinks and eating snacks. We didn't even use the pool, just sat on the comfy chairs and relaxed. One night before 9:00 the woman came out and hand motioned us to leave. Didn't say a word to us but we got her meaning with her hand motion. Very rude and uncalled for. The 9:00 curfew is a little much for adults that just want to relax outside their room. The other thing that was annoying, which we know the hotel can't do anything about is the hotel is located close to some sort of air force base and the super loud helicopters and jets flying close overhead at different hours of the morning and night definitely was disturbing. We would stay here again just because of how clean the hotel was and the location.

When you check in there are signs stating that you have to leave a $100 cash deposit. However, when I was waiting to check in the last in front of me paid with her debit card. When I checked in I was told that I needed to leave a $100 cash deposit for each room ( had booked 2 rooms). Missed if I could use my credit or debit card and was told that I had to have cash. Around 8:00 am the next morning, my husband and I were going to breakfast and house keeping ask if we needed towels, I explained that we were going to take our showers when we got back from breakfast and we were told that we could get more towels. Took out showers when we got back and we saw house keeping and told her that we had taken out showers. She came and got out towels, however, when we got back in the room around 3:30 pm we still didn't have any clean towels so I called the front desk and was told that my room had been serviced. I explained that no clean towels were brought back to replace the dirty ones that they picked up. I was told that they would Bri g some to the room. At 8:00 pm I had to go to the front desk for towels. At checkout there was a lobby full of people trying to checkout. You are asked if you are due a cash deposit or a refund? If everyone is required to give a cash deposit why are they asking what type of refund you are due? We had to give them the room number and wait until they went and checked the room out. The lobby was full of at least 10 or more people in all but one were Black. The man that checked out my rooms came back and said that a towel and wash cloth was messed up and that I had to pay for them. I told him that the towels would come clean when they were washed. Anyway, I told him that if I had to pay for them that I wanted them. He came from behind the counter and asked, you want these towels? I told him yes to put them in a bag since he was going to charge me for them, I want them. Took the towel and wash cloth home and washed them along with other whites, added a little bleach and the towels along with the others came clean. No stains!!

Stay here before with no problems. However, this time was much different. First, the person at front desk had difficulty finding my reservation. Had a Best Western coupon for $25 off room which they failed to deduct until I reminded them again at check out to do it. Maid woke us up at 7:15 a.m. one morning making a lot of noise cleaning up vacant room next to ours. Told manger about it and he was not concerned about it at all. He did nothing to satisfy me about it. Card key stopped working after returning to room after being out in the hot sun and had to go ti the office to get it re-connected. The pool is open until 9p.m. at night but a lady always started running people out before that time. This was the worst experience I have ever encounter at Best Western, and I have stayed at many of the them domestic & international.

We stayed here July 5-7 during a quick visit to Savannah/Tybee. The rate and cancellation policy was great. Check in process was smooth and COVID-19 safety measures were in place. The room was clean and comfortable and we could tell sanitation procedures had taken place. This Best Western is situated about 5 miles from downtown Savannah and about 16 miles from Tybee, so the location was convenient for us. We had a nice stay and would stay again.

Hotel was very clean. Room was nice and cold. Room was kept clean the entire time. Area was very peaceful at night. Everyone I spoke with on staff was very pleasant. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 2 nights while on a leisure trip. The room was very clean and felt fresh. The beds were comfortable, cold A/C, and the room was just around the corner from the ice and drink machine. Due to the COVID-19 breakfast was not served as usual. I believe they offered a donut and coffee though. But Waffle House is right next door so you can just walk there instead. And there are restaurants within the area as well as the Oglethorpe Mall. I recommend the Juicy Seafood restaurant which is 1/2 mile away. The reason I gave a 4star instead of a 5 is because the fridge was turned off when we arrived and had a weird smell to it. The freezer blew fine but the fridge didn't cool down much after turning it on for a while. Also the customer service could be better at the front desk. They had no chipper voices, smiles, or anything. So it didn't feel welcoming although the check in/out was easy. Our room key cards were also disabled after one night even though we booked for 2 nights and they verified and enabled them. The female housekeepers were very personable also, but the males never spoke and just stared as if we were up to something. Also due to the pandemic the pool was closed, so we went to Tybee Island for an hour or two. And the 1st night I was awakened by fireworks when nearing midnight. I couldn't tell if it was next door or on the property but that hindered our sleep. I know it wasn't the hotel's fault but I was just noting in case anyone else goes through this. But overall I do recommend this hotel and will stay again if I ever visit.

We stayed 4 nights at this hotel. The check-in was friendly and helpful, letting us know the Georgia Covid19 restrictions and local businesses who were open and where we could do dine-in eating. The room was clean and comfortable. Our kids loved the outdoor pool, which was warm and inviting. The only issue we had was a bathtub that didn't drain properly. We were offered another room, but we had already unpacked for 4 days. With consistent follow-up by us, this problem seemed to be resolved on the fourth day of our stay. Breakfast was basic, somewhat do to Covid restrictions. Muffins, cinnamon rolls, juices, apples, and doughnuts one day. They probably could have had more variety, but it was understandable during this time. Overall, a good stay and good value.

I've never stayed at a hotel with such poor service. Once we arrived, we realized that there are so many other great choices in the area. I wish we would have known that. The hotel was not even busy but we were treated as though we were not wanted. The balconies were occupied by workers of the hotel smoking, drinking, and loitering!! Worst breakfast ever! Had to change our rooms because of smoke smell!!

We checked in later than expected, but had a room #149. In the morning after breakfast we headed downtown for the day, knowing our return would not be until after 6:pm. When we returned back to the hotel, our room door was ajar. The housekeeping staff had been in the room, to clean it, and must not have closed the door correctly. I immediately walked to the front desk and complained, the reception said that happened before, and the door needed to be fixed, and told me that it would be written up in the duty manager daily journal. Our second day, after breakfast, we left again for a day's touring, and made sure the door was properly closed. Upon returning to our room, the door was ajar AGAIN. A housekeeping staff was outside next door and I mentioned the problem, but his commend of the English was limited. I, again, walked to the front desk and complained. This time the hotel manager was close by. I told him the problem, but long story short, even though the previous day complaint was in the journal, the manager was not very understanding. Basically, not believing me that the problem happened again. Back to our room, we still did not understand why when we closed the door from the outside (like housekeeping would do), it did not open while we stood there. Then when inside, we closed the door gently, it looked closed, but least than 1 minute, the door opened by itself. We solved the problem. The housekeeping staff, did not pull on the door handle correctly to close the door, therefore, the door opened by itself. While speaking to the manager, a request from us for some kind of compensation, was not considered. All our possessions were still there, both days, but the knowledge of maybe returning the second day to our room, with missing items, did put a strain on our day's touring. On the third day we left, Savannah..... Note to self......test the hotel room outside door, before leaving for any time ......

My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel for two nights. The check in process was smooth and easy. The room was spotlessly clean. The breakfast had a really nice diversity of hot and cold foods. They even had Krispee Kreme mini donuts. I am sure since we visited at the end of February, that breakfast is not being served in the limited space to eat in. After visiting with some family we took the Savannah Overview tour with one of the trolley companies. Great learning the history of the city.

We stayed here one night. The rooms were quite nice, two beds. The whole area was clean and quiet and we enjoyed a good night sleep. All the staff we encountered were pleasant. The breakfast was adequate.

This Hotel was very concerned about the Covid19 and appeared to be taking proper precautions for this. We ate breakfast in the eating area and everything was clean and orderly. Tables were being cleaned immediately as people finished their meals. Our room was very clean as well. This location is very close to the Hunter Army Airfield and just a short drive to the downtown area without the higher price of staying downtown near the Riverwalk. We visited Tybee Island while staying here.

The staff is very friendly. The room was clean. The room however, is noisy. The family above us must of had twenty kids with all the running and jumping going on. Does that mean I didn't sleep? Nope. Slept like a rock. The free breakfast was just pastries because of the Covid19 lock down. After we left the table a worker immediately cleaned the table of any germs. So kudos to Best Western for doing what they can to stop the spread of Covid19.

This is a motel style hotel with nice rooms and a good night sleep. For the price it was fantastic. The front desk clerks were friendly and helpful. The women who work in the breakfast area are wonderful! For a budget friendly hotel this is a great place!

My husband had a medical emergency and I had to book the room quickly. After his release from the hospital we wanted to stay for 3 days to give him time to heal. We were so happy with the size of the room and how well equipped it was. It made our stay much more pleasant

Easy to get to downtown historic district. Go down Abercorn! Seemed pricey compared to other BW locations for what you get. But was clean, comfortable, very nice. 200 characters. I said all I want to say.

Positives: The room was clean and had a good sized mini fridge that I could unload my cooler into. The young woman at the desk was friendly and efficient when checking us in Negatives: There are two buildings and one of them has an indoor shooting range attached to the back wall. We had just had two days of 9 hours of driving each and I really needed to nap. Unfortunately, we checked in at 4PM and the range was still open, making a nap impossible. BANG BANG BANGBANGBANG BANG BANG. Also, the street the hotel is on is somewhat busy and the rooms aren't soundproof at all, so there was the constant sound of traffic, zooming cars, and the occasional siren. I am not a good sleeper, so this was not ideal. Just take the noise into consideration if you are a light sleeper.

This hotel was very clean and was close to restaurants and had any kind of store near by. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was very good. It was a great place to stay as a stop over while travelling. Best of all the price we paid was the best of all the hotels along our trip. We will definitely return to this hotel the next time we travel.

Our two nights at Best Western Central Inn were great. Room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was good. It seemed like it had been recently renovated with exterior paint and newly asphalted parking lot. We had to drive downtown, but parking wasn't a problem at the Savannah visitor center. I was especially pleased this room had a desk and chairs, as we bought dinner to go one evening. Very friendly staff on the front desk, and rate was affordable.

My friend booked this hotel for our girl's trip for our trip to Savannah. We were not disappointed. The hotel was not far from Historic Savannah, but we did have to drive to get there. Rooms were spacious, beds and pillows were comfortable. There was iron & ironing board, coffee maker and blow dryer. The heater worked very well, it was cold when we went. The complex was very clean, as was rather lobby and eating area. The free breakfast consisted of waffles (you make them yourself), scrambled eggs, sausages, oatmeal, biscuits, also gravy if you wanted biscuits & gravy. There was also cereal, mini doughnuts, toast, bagels. The breakfast was well worth it. I would definitely recommend this hotel

It was nice and everything was clean and my stay was comfortable. The hotel was in the perfect spot because everything is near it and I felt at home during my stay. I will say the bathroom shower was a little outdated but it was clean.

We made a reservation by phone and requested a room on the first floor or near an elevator. We arrived and had been assigned a 2nd floor room and there was NO elevator! We are seniors and cannot carry luggage up steps. Getting the room changed was a challenge. We are rewards members and expect better service. We did finally get a room on the first floor and could park near it. The light switch did not turn on a light so we had to use a flashlight to find a light that would turn on. It is better to have a switch that it not tied to a lamp that may be turned off. The outlets by the bed were unlike any we had seen and we need outlets for CPAPs. We figured it out. The room was nice and had 2 chairs—always a plus. Breakfast was fine and the worker in the dining area was excellent and kept things supplied. There was good oatmeal with toppings, a yogurt machine and cereal with only 2% milk. It would be nice to know the ingredients for the yogurt that is artificial sweetener or sugar. Rating would have been higher but the difficulty getting a room we requested was frustrating.

Another good Best Western, clean, good location. Although an occasional jet might go screaming overhead to the air base next door. Rooms are a bit small, beds are hard and not particularly comfortable, good free breakfast.

Check-in and check-out were simple. The complementary breakfast bar was outstanding - the service was great and the selection left nothing to be desired. The room was very nice, clean, and well laid out.

The room looked and smelled like the six dollar rooms I used in the 1970's. it even had a similar smell - very nostalgic. It is very small with an extra small water closet and was had in adequate lighting. This was not what I expect from BW. The hot breakfast was good and up to standards for BW.

My family and I visited the historic district of Savannah, GA. The location of the hotel was great. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. I have stayed there a couple of visits and will definitely stay again.

The rooms are very clean and the furniture are brand new. The staff is very friendly and happy to assist you. The hotel is just a few minutes away from the old district. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend it to others.

Very firm mattress, Too firm for our taste and the pillows were just little squares. Actually this is the first time that I'm questioning if Hotels offer different comfort of mattresses. I will be asking this question next time I book a room. Don't get me wrong, the room was very clean and comfortable but we, as customers, always compare the comfort to our own bed at home, don't we?

We stayed here one night on our way home from Orlando. We wanted to get a quick glimpse of historic Savannah. It was a short drive down to the waterfront area. There are surrounding restaurants, fast food, and a mall. Our room was very spacious and clean. Updated decor. The water pressure in the shower was not that great. Bed was firm but ok. We did not take advantage of the free breakfast. The only downside was coming back for an item that I forgot in the room. Mysteriously, the housekeeper told the front desk clerk that it was not there. Another employee went to look and the housekeeper handed it to him as I watched. Questionable integrity of the staff.

Clean, nice rooms at a great price. They are constantly updating the rooms to make them better. Breakfast is great. The staff is very nice and helpful. I don't think you can find a better value in Savannah.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We just did a quick one night stop over and could not have been more pleased. Loved the upgrades. Front desk staff was courteous and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Great location. Only about 15 minutes from the historic river area of Savannah. Very clean and great staff. Comfy bed and lots of pillows. Located right at a super busy intersection but not too terrible.

The rooms are always spotless. The grounds are clean and well maintained. The breakfast is phenomenal for a free continental (plus) and the staff has been outstanding. Overall a great place and always reasonably priced.

It was an all around OK stay. No grab and go bags (which are super convenient when you miss breakfast). Internet was super slow and wouldn't load simple web pages. Tried on multiple devices. Hot water was not hot for longer than 2 minutes. Location was pretty good in relation to downtown Savannah, about 15 minute drive. Convenient to food and grocery stores. Room was definitely for 2 people only.

We stayed for one night while driving through to Florida. We arrived very late at the hotel and the front desk lady was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. We found that the hotel provided hot breakfast which was pretty good. Only problem was that it was a little noisy as the room was not sound proof. Nonetheless, it is a good hotel for the price.

We stayed there while touring Savannah. It was convenient to stores and somewhat easy to get into downtown. The rooms were very nice and very well kept. The front desk personnel were nice. The ice machine is not convenient for outside rooms.

Me and my family was in town for a funeral and we originally had reservations at previous hotel which we were very disappointed and disgusted with the filth of the hotel...so we made reservations at the Best Western which was the very opposite, nice clean hotel ...I'm germgermophobic and I was completely satisfied with the cleanliness of the room. A clean and nice hotel , the parking area was also very inviting and clean . My kids got to try the pool ,it was cold but a blast for them. The breakfast was good for a continental breakfast. I would stayed here again if i visited Savannah.

Terrible experience here. We switched rooms 2 times before getting one that was ok. As we walked to our first room, we smelt paint. Once we opened the door, it smelt even stronger of paint. They were painting the ground outside the rooms AND the AC units! We immediately went back to the front desk and asked for another room, explaining the paint fumes that were in and around the room. They knowingly said “Oh yeah, we're repainting.” As if that was not a hazard at all. The second room we got was away from the paint but infested with ants. They were all over the bathroom counter and behind the toilet. Some ventured off to the desk near the door. It was disgusting. The third room we were given was closer to the area they were painting and because they were constantly moving as they finished painting one section, we were worried they would eventually paint outside out room. Luckily, we left before then. However, they were painting downstairs and because they never put up “wet paint” signs even when they leave a freshly painted area, we stepped on wet paint and the bottom of our shoes are forever marked. We would not recommend it or go back. I wrote them feedback about the above experience and there was no answer. That shows that management thinks it's ok to paint the same building that guests are staying in. Long story short: paint fumes and ant infestation.

We stayed for six nights while visiting our family. While the location is not close to the downtown it was very reasonably priced, very clean, and the room was a good size. The only downside for us was that we were near the laundry and the carts were rolled by our room early morning which was very noisy. The Waffle House was next door for breakfast.

This hotel was a very good choice or me. The location, which is close in proximity to mostly everything, was more than I had expected. From here one can travel anywhere from one minute to fifteen minutes and get to what I'm sure is their place of business or pleasure. Downtown Savannah is just a short trip up the road as well as other great locations, shopping mall , colleges and bodies of water. The place is truly centralized. The staff is warm and friendly and the place is kept clean and the beds very comfortable. I just wished I could have stayed a bit longer on this trip.

The property is clean inside and outside. Even the parking lot was clean. And for us, the location was great. It is adjacent to Hunter AAF so we did hear a few helicopters but only two or three a day and it was always before 5:30 pm so it wasn't a problem.

Very quick check in and out. Friendly & helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again. It was only a short drive to the historic district. It's more reasonably priced then the hotels in the historic district. The short drive was worth it to me.

Very old park in front of door style motel. Noisy neighbors. Vehicles revving engine in the lot. Bed and pillows hard. Very little sleep. Desk staff was very nice but the sleep experience made it sure we would not be returning.

My husband and I booked 2 nights at this hotel, great location! The noise was unbelievable.........our first floor room was right in front of a busy highway (so much loud traffic) and in close proximity to a shooting range. Other guests were loud, revving car engines late in the evening. Early risers were not quiet when leaving. Lobby personnel were courteous, friendly and apologetic. Our room was well used however, clean. Disappointing stay for a Best Western hotel.

The rooms are of a good size for two to four people. Plenty of parking to get close to your room and it felt very safe. The beds were comfortable and towels were thick. What amazed me was that they had a gluten free cereal and orange juice that tasted like orange juice. The coffee was good and the eggs tasted like real eggs. Taking an Uber to the Riverfront will run you 11 dollars, just Incase you want to sample the night life. You can also get a discount on the Hop on Tour which I highly recommend.

Quick trip over for anniversary. Hotel was clean and easy access to downtown. Only issue is how they jack up price for weekend. Price when from 59 on Wednesday and Thursday to 100 for Friday. Breakfast was very good but space to eat was a bit tight. Hotel is right next door to army air base so we had helicopters and planes flying over our room late at night -- lots of them!

Upon arrival we were cheerfully greeted by a lovely new girl by the name of Brianna. A BIG Thank you to Knikki who noticed we left our car door open and she let us know immediately! During our stay we did experience a few drawbacks, you know something is wrong when they have an ear plug dispenser on the front desk asking you to take some. Our room was on the second floor, but you had to access it outside like a Motel. Our room had a lock out to the next room which was horrible. The door is not well insulated as we could hear everything...I mean everything. Next door guests arrived back at 3:00 a.m. and were not quiet to say the least. Now I know why we were given ear plugs. The chair at the desk hardly had any leatherette left on it and needs to be replaced. The room had a peculiar odor and an odor eliminator, which I believe it was, was left on the desk. Breakfast is served very quickly 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m....too bad for the late sleepers...if you can get any. 10:00 a.m. would have been more beneficial. I had to race around before 9:30 as they were taking things away and I wanted to grab something quick before our tour. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful and it just screams "History"; with stunning architecture and beautiful trees. Make sure you take the "Hop on and Hop off" tour and do the whole tour first and then take it again to hop on and off. Make sure you have dinner at The Chart House one of Savannah's oldest buildings, you'll be glad you did! I would definitely return in the future!

This hotel was very clean. Staff very friendly too. It is a short drive to the historic district. The breakfast was tasty with a good selection and with a pot of oatmeal included. There is a 24 hour diner close by with good food. Great value for the price.

We stayed at this hotel for the haunted pub crawl on Congress as well as my birthday weekend. The hotel staff at the front desk were excellent. They recommended places to eat and have drinks which did not disappoint. The rooms were clean and it was QUIET even though the hotel was pretty full. At night we did have to use some over flow parking on the side of the building but that wasn't a big deal. Also used LYFT to get to Congress St which was was $13 one eat. We Had a king room. Plenty of pillows and the bed was SO COMFORTABLE! We are planning another trip to Savannah and will definitely stay here!

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel! Tiffany checked us in and was so good! She hooked us up with info for a tour of the city for the next day. The breakfast was really good, rooms were clean! T. J. checked us out and was also great. We will definitely stay here again if ever able to visit this area again.

The room was fine, The linen was clean, and I was thankful that the room was not small. We had everything we needed ( fridge, microwave, etc.) The price was good, and there was a wide variety of hot and cold breakfast foods . The area appeared to be quiet. I would suggest that the front desk personnel work on guest service skills. Kindness and.a smile go a long way when travelers are deciding where to stay. Many times we have chosen hotels over and over again based on the reception we received at check in/ check out.

My husband and I usually break up our trip into one night. However on our last trip we stayed overnight for 2 days at two different hotels. We stayed at a little out of the way Best Western in Savannah. It was a very nice stay from check in to check out. The personnel behind the desk were s helpful in finding a quick way for us to reach our next destination. The lobby was clean, the breakfast area was clean and the breakfast was very good. Many selections faced us early in the morning. The room was spotless and the were beds very comfortable. To sum it up our stay was very enjoyable.

We looked at so many hotels. Many with bars, restaurants, and heated pools. Smoking wasn't even aloud on an open rooftop bar. I can understand hotels not allowing you to smoke inside, but it's ridiculous when you can't even sit comfortably outside and enjoy your cigarette. Especially when paying for drinks. Most of the hotels in Savannah also charge $30 for valet or you must find other parking elsewhere that you will still have to pay for. This hotel has smoking rooms and a free parking lot. Did NOT stink when we walked in. It has a nice breakfast. Eggs did NOT taste like powdered eggs. I even had biscuits and sausage gravy! Last night I ate at the Waffle House that is basically in the parking lot and it was delicious. The cook was super friendly. The hotel may be cheap to stay, but it is NOT sketchy. Everyone I've seen or met has been friendly and polite. Mostly couples. If you smoke or on a tight budget, this is definitely the place for you. Shopping is just across the street. TJmax and Marshall's. No bugs. Lots of lights. Plenty of mirrors. Nice desk and chair. Room is NOT tiny.

Well!! Where do I start. I originally was going to stay at the Baymont up the street. Boy, am I glad I switched to the Best Western! I've been reading all the reviews and I am going to try my best not to go on an excitement rant. From the moment I walked into my room, I was amazed with the cleanliness and the comfort. The room was the perfect size for just myself and not to mention the King Size bed. I felt like I was sleeping on Clouds. The hotel itself is pretty large and a lot of people say that it has a Motel style to it. To be honest, the renovations don't make it seem like it. I absolutely enjoyed my 4 day stay here! The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the Biscuits were Top Notch! Hotel staff was excellent and friendly. How could I not forget Jane from the Kitchen! Good Morning!! How ya'll doing!? Let me say, I'm from New Jersey. There's nothing like Southern Hospitality. So in my conclusion, I highly recommend this Hotel. It's near everything that you may need. Oglethorpe Mall is 10 minutes walking distance South Bound. Forsyth Park and Downtown Savannah is a must go! It's about an $7 to $11 Uber ride round trip. You won't regret it. And Oh, there's an Army Base nearby.. So be prepared for some C-17's and other Military Aircraft to flyover throughout the day and night! I hope this Review is helpful!

We were there for a quick one night trip. The check in was great and the room was clean and comfortable. The bed was probably the most comfortable ones I have slept on in any hotel. For the money, you can't beat this hotel.

I spent 8 nights here the end of October. Rooms have recentley been upgraded. Everything looked and worked great. I would recommend a room facing the pool on the first floor of tne main building. The hot Savannah sun can be pretty intense on the bck side of the building. Plus noise from the Army Airfield will be alot less in front. The plane noise can be a bit annoying but it can also be kind of cool.

This is our go-to stay when we find ourselves in Savannah. Sure it'd be nice to be somewhere downtown, but if you're on a budget it's not really worth the privilege. You can have a big, comfy room and still be a short 10-minute drive to all the main sites (and snacks). The beds are doubles, which makes it a bit tight for four people to share a room, but it's sufficient for two adults and some kids. The property is spotlessly clean, with a small pool for cooling off. We appreciate the thought behind the free breakfast, but we can never resist the call of fresh biscuits further afield.

This is a wonderful property were everyone works so hard to make you stay the best. They have just completed a major renovation to the guest rooms and beds. I highly recomend you staying here the next time you find yourself in Savannah.

The BW location was perfect. It was a short ride to the historic district & other important sites. Our room was very clean. The pool area was usually quiet . Breakfast had plenty of choices and staff available to replenish items quickly.

This hotel was just OK. I had broken my own rule and booked a hotel with an outside entrance, but it was OK. Pretty clean, so I was prepared to give it an average rating however, I had packed up all my stuff and was sitting in my car with a clear view of the room I had just left. There was this big cleaning guy. Earlier I had said hello to him on the sidewalk and he just regarded me with a sneer. As I am siting in my car, he walked up to my room and put his hands on the window so he could see inside. The sheer curtains were shut. He was checking to make sure he room was empty. This is totally unacceptable. He did not even knock first. Please, Best Western, you need to establish an acceptable way of verifying that a room is empty. The check in person was lovely though.

So pleased with this hotel experience - the best of our entire trip. We occupied a room where the rugs had just been steam-cleaned and not quite dry, slightly damp, but I didn't care everything was clean. The room furniture, bath and flooring had been updated, the mattresses on the double beds were very comfortable and seemed newer also. EVERY appliance was there in the room that you could want... single-cup coffee maker with caf and decaf coffee that was actually very tasty, microwave, mini-frig, shampoo/conditioner/bar soaps, cups everything you need. THEN the complimentary breakfast was the best on our travels that included EVERYTHING for breakfast and staff present that clean tables and hover to guide you if any questions. Waffle-maker, scrambled eggs, sausages, cereals, coffee was outstanding with flavored creamer, and more offerings - just awesome! Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for a few days while vacationing in Savannah. It was fairly close to historic downtown. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and pool outside was great. The breakfast was top notch as well! The lady working the breakfast was so kind and on top of her game. She was awesome! Unfortunately, the tv in our room turned on and off continously through our stay. We brought this to the attention of the attendant at the front desk. She merely gave us another remote claiming a dead battery must be the problem. The tv continued to have the same problem though. My husband is tech savvy and examined the back of the tv noticing several screws missing. Fortunately, in this day and age we can look at our phones instead. Still it was annoying. Our room keys also didn't work properly. We had to get them reprogrammed two times at the desk. These simple inconveniences were frustrating. However, it was a great value for the proximity to key locations in Savannah. Would've definitely been 4 stars without those hiccups.

We saw mostly good reviews for this hotel and we weren't disappointed. They had some maintenance work going on but it did not disturb us. I'm always glad to see a hotel that is well maintained. A good value.

Saw a good many of the fountains that dot the city. There are NO easy turns in Savannah, all the corners are true 90 degree corners, no short cuts. Visited the house where "The House of Good and Evil" was filmed. Drove down to the "low country" to Charleston and went to Patriot Point naval museum and went aboard the USS YORKTOWN CVS 10 . Then it was back to Savannah and a restaurant on the water that served "Hush Puppies" that were to die for with melted butter and warm honey...yesss siree. All in all a very relaxing and enjoyable trip. Put Savannah on your to do list, you won't regret it.

Modern room that was very clean and comfortable. Property grounds are attractive and well kept. Hot breakfast opened at 6am which allowed us to get an early start. It consisted of scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, make your own waffles as well as the usual cold items and the seating area was comfortable. It is located about a 20 minute drive from the historic Savanna downtown area and has free parking unlike the closer more expensive hotels.

This is a basic motel. The rooms are large enough and for the most part quite - but don't get a room with a connection door, sounds like the screaming kids are in your room! Also, there is an indoor shooting range at the back of one of the hotel buildings and you can hear the pop, pop, pop of guns, luckily they close at 8pm. Nothing fancy, a basic place to put your head to sleep. They give you the strangest small square pillows every, two were lumpy, two were okay.

We had such a good time, everything was super clean and comfortable! We were in room 168, nice to be able to park right outside of our room! Great updates, and central to where we wanted to be. If we are in the Savannah area again, we will be sure to stay at this Best Western!

Check-in and check-out was very speedy. This was my second time staying at this hotel and it was pleasurable both times. Hotel rooms were spotless and the beds were extremely comfortable. Not far away from downtown Savannah and staff is very pleasant. The only thing that would have been nicer is if there were chairs outside the hotel rooms with ashtrays.

Wonderful staff, room had been remodeled very nice with plenty of connections for charging phone, computer and other accessories. I travel to Savannah often and plan to continue stay with the fine folks at Best Western Central in Savannah. The motel is well lite and a safe place to stay.

I stayed in the Hotel with my wife, on our way to Florida. Staff was very friendly, hotel is very calm and clean, and the room was awesome. No noises, no problems, a very smooth stay. There is plenty of park and it is included with the room fee, which makes it even better. The location for the price that was paid is good, but it is not as close as it seems from the Historical city for example. The only point that I would suggest to improve is to have some more fruits on the breakfast! I recommend it for sure.

I was shocked when I read the reviews about this best Western. I really couldn't believe that something this cheap could be so good. My daughter and I stayed for two nights. We felt completely safe even though we do not normally stay in rooms that open to the outside. It is an older motel but it is very clean the beds were comfortable and the air conditioner worked fantastic. The only problem I had was our last morning I kept waking up every 20 minutes after 4 o'clock and finally realized it was helicopters flying over from the Air Force Base doing some type of maneuvers. Other than that everything was fine

A last minute change - a great experience! We had to find a place at the last minute, due to a change in plans and the great service and a room with all the latest upgrades made this a terrific experience! Would recommend to all.

Great stay in a clean and quiet hotel. Even the airco unit was reasonable silent. You could leave it on at night if you are not a really light sleeper. The beds and shower are good. Breakfast is very good, a lot of choices and it is well maintained by the staff. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

This is the second time I have stayed here in the last 6 months. Very good price. Extremely clean place, the cleaning and front desk staff are very nice. There was one rude lady working the breakfast but the food itself was good. Lots of restaurants and retail close by. Only 15 minutes to Downtown riverwalk area.

My husband and I spent one night as we headed north. This property has rooms that face outside. It appeared the room had recently been updated. LED lights throughout and everything very clean and new. Beds and bedding were comfortable. A/C is one of those under the window wall models. Poor thing ran all night trying to keep up with the hellishly high temperatures. If I had to give them a next wave of updating it would be the towels. Rather thin and small. Breakfast was okay. Typical breakfast included fare. Very attentive attendant the entire time. Bravo!

If I can give it zero stars I would! When arriving at our hotel room, there were 100's of love bugs swarming around it. As we were looking in the window, there were a couple of them already in the room-both dead and alive. We couldn't even get in the room without all of them swarming behind us. And we were taking multiple trips! It was so bad we ask the manager can we get a room in the front. The front seem clear of them unlike those in the back. However, asking for a mere room switch ticked him the hell off. He was looking at us through the window with his arms folded ready to give us the business. Once we went up front, he aggressively argued us down when we were pretty calm about the situation. Then stated, he preferred to refund us, refusing us a room. Wow, what great customer service. Please future guest, be aware of the black guy with the glasses, last name Johnson. So unpleasant! Maybe, if I didn't look like I did, I would have been offered better service.

Stayed 1 night traveling from Delaware and 1 night to Delaware from Florida vacation. Very clean, affordable and great comfy bed. Was very impressed from other places we stayed for a pit stop. Desk personnel were very nice and helpful.

Exuberant & positive welcome set the tone for this best Best Western! I did not catch her name, but she was an exemplary check in person. She verified our choices - king bed on the ground floor - and that's what we got. She also attached our $20 credit from a prior Best Western stay, and asked us to verify that it was applied in the morning checkout. She also credited 500 points to our account for our Best Western Diamond Reward status. The room was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed: microwave, fridge, easy chair & ottoman, plenty of hangars, toiletries & coffee makings. We also had plenty of outlets, including USB ports. It did have a slight cigarette odor, either from outside or from a time when it was a smoking room. Once we turned on the AC, the smell was negligible. We had a quiet, cool, comfortable night's sleep on a firm mattress. The breakfast room was large and accommodating. The television was set to our favorite station - CBS. We had lots of food and drink choices - waffles, white bread, bagels, muffins, 3 cereals, oatmeal, grits, good scrambled eggs, hard as rock biscuits & spicy sausage, apples & oranges, water, teas, coffees, juices & a friendly, efficient hostess. Check out was smooth and easy with an efficient, pleasant gentleman at the front desk. Our credit WAS applied. This was a wonderful place to stay for one night with a very inexpensive rate for lots of good stuff!

We had actually booked our room for later in the evening but were meeting friends who were already checked in from night before. We are walking into the lobby when the woman behind the counter demands to know what room we were in. We explain that we are checking in later but meeting friends and she demands to know their reservation and room number. I was rudely told that there was no reservation for that name, so I was going outside to call my friend when I was screamed at-i kid you not-"you can't go anywhere mame we need to finish this!" Excuse me? Finish WHAT?!? I left before it got ugly and cancelled our reservation. This woman needs serious training in handling guests amd has cost your company quite a bit of money.

This hotel was wonderful and a great value for the room rate we paid. First things first, when I called a day early and asked for early check in, and the staff member said it would be allowed that was a plus and was not charged any extra. At check in, staff was friendly and nice. Our room was clean and the beds were comfy. We walked down to the lobby and asked the staff members if they could us where the bus stop was, and it was not far from the hotel. The free breakfast was so good and lots of choices. They had juices, coffee, hot tea, and water. They had scrambled eggs, sausage links, biscuits and gravy, waffles, oatmeal, toast, bagels, fruit, yogurt, donuts, muffins, and cereal with milk. Everything was fresh, hot, and tasty. Breakfast staff welcomed everyone every morning, and they work hard to keep the items fresh, refilled, and the area clean. The pool was clean and the two times we were in it, we mostly had it to ourselves. Housekeeping cleaned our room and we have no complaints. Check out was easy and did not take long. We will definitely come back to this hotel if we come back to Savannah, and would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Hotel was about a 20 drive to historic Savannah. City bus transportation was convenient. One of the trolley tour excursions was available to pick you up at hotel. The front desk service was very pleasant. Everyone was courteous and friendly especially the nice lady in the dining hall. Greeted you with a smile every morning. Rooms were clean. Basic amenities available. Will return.

I searched through reviews for about 25 hotels between Myrtle Beach and Savannah. This hotel had the best reviews and I was not disappointed. I was very satisfied with our stay. The room was clean, the decor was updated and the room had multiple plugs and usb ports. Friendly and professional staff. Delicious breakfast with a nice variety. I did want to note that Shea, who handled check in was great. One small thing that I appreciated was that she did not say my room number out loud. Most lodging miss that fine point and it can be a security concern.

TripAdvisor had rated this hotel as the #1 value in Savannah and they were spot on as usual. A very friendly and dedicated staff maintains this facility which, to be honest, is not new. Very clean! Parking area recently re-surfaced. A very nice breakfast staff. Great mattress.

We stay at this location when in the area. Our son attends school in the area and it is convenient. Recently renovated and it looks and sleeps well. Rooms are very clean, free breakfast is GREAT and the customer service is excellent! I would recommend this location.

We used trip advisor to help with a stop on our trip north on I 95. The motel was not close to I 95, but it was very clean and a great price. The motel provided a very good breakfast with friendly and attentive staff members! I highly recommed this motel for a great night's rest. The bed was wonderful!

Overall stay was good. More like a motel than hotel. Located near gas stations, mall, fast food restaurants, 20-25 minute drive to Tybee Island. Exterior clean, check in easy ( was able to check in earlier so that was great). Room was okay except for the bathroom. Found hair ( not belonging to me) in the bathtub as well as what appeared to be a cleaning towel. AC was not on upon arrival which made the room very hot and stuffy! Breakfast selection was good. Variety of items ( pastries, cereal, yogurt, eggs, sausage, waffle, etc). They need 2 waffle makers instead of 1.

I'm not into luxury rooms at all, but I don't expect to stay in a hell hole. At the Best Western I got a very nice room on a clean property. It was all very cool, except the internet speed. Beyond that it was a good experience.

This hotel looks like a remodeled two story motel. Outside pretty basic with concrete outdoor stairs leading to second floor. No elevators. Rooms are pleasantly remodeled. Free parking and breakfast included. Pretty basic hotel at a good rate.

Long story short. I booked a separate room for someone and they claim a lamp was stolen. They threatened me with police and the. Charged me 160 dollors twice and overcharged me a night overdrawing my account. And then told me I was not allowed on the property after all was said and done. These people are thieves and will extort you. I was never allowed to see the room that was put under my name or see where said (lamp) was actually taken or not. I will never check into a best Western anywhere because of this. The staff as far as the workers and cleaners were all very pleasant. The only people I had any problem with were the owners the manager and the owners wife. Everyone else was wonderful

This hotel was close to the section of town where there are several great restaurants, bars and stores to heck out. Also very close to the waterfront. Hotel was lean, parking on site and breakfast served in the morning and personnel was friendly.

This was a great value for our trip. We stayed one night and your could not beat the price. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and the air conditioning made it very comfortable. The only issue was we booked for 5 people and the 2 beds were not queens, they were full. An 8 year old between us made an uncomfortable nights sleep. I asked at the desk and was told that was all they had. With that said, I would still stay here again and because the price is so good, I'll get a second room.

Great location, has everything around it that you might need, coffee shop, grocery, dollar store, restaurants..you get the idea. The rooms were remodeled and very clean the bed was one of the best beds that I've ever slept on and best of all it's only about 15 min's or less from Old Savannah. Very easy to find, nice pool and in what seemed to be a decent and safe area. I had made the reservation directly on their website and the price was fantastic with my TA discount, the hotel was packed. I liked it so much I'll be going back again in the next several months...Savannah is a great place to visit. Very happy that I found this motel.

Best Western Central Inn has newly refurbished rooms and a nice pool area. There are a few restaurants in the neighbourhood such as Panda Express and Chili's. Close to the hotel there is a bus stop and the bus will take you into Savannah Historic District in about 15 minutes.

Good things first .. room was clean, they appear to be remodeling. The free breakfast was what it was - free. Then ... we checked in and they charged our credit card for 4 days instead of 2! We received an alert from our credit card company that had happened. We spoke to the front desk and was assured that it would come off that day. It did not. We checked in at about 4:30 pm and at about 8:30 pm a cleaning lady tried to come into our room. She hit on the front glass and then opened the door, thank God we had the latch set on the door. I understand about putting the "do not disturb" sign out , but at night? The next afternoon she did the same thing. Does she plunder while people are gone? The peep hole on the door was missing, a piece of tissue paper was pushed into the hole. Do they film you while you sleep? The bathroom had been remodeled, but the toilet was loose at the base and the seat would not stay up. This is very good for male visitors. Wed had a nonsmoking room, but it appears 90% of the rooms are smoking. Another misleading part of this hotel - it should be called a motel! It is called Central, but Central to what? Chatham county? Central Georgia? Best Wertern Land? Not Savannah. We will never and I mean never stay in a Best Western again. It we can't afford a better hotel, we will cancel or trip. We finally got our over payment back today 24 hrs. after check out of this hell hole. Save your money and sanity go to Holiday Inn or Country Inn and Suites.

Hotel was clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was plenty. The only thing I would want them to add are pancakes and another waffle maker. lol The area where the hotel is located at is good. It's not a long drive to the historic district and in the other direction there are a shopping mall, restaurants and grocery stores. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was what I expected from Best Western. It is currently being renovated. There were countertops, construction materials laid out everywhere: in corridors, by the crumbling staircases, on the lawn and in the parking lot. I had a large black bug inside my window. Long black straight hair on toilet seat upon check in. Air unit on the floor set at 61F and would go lower, however the room was very hot. After housekeeping serviced the room, toiletries looked like they were thrown onto countertop. The rug was old and filled with what I can only imagine. Yuck. Only stayed because we were traveling with a group, they didn't want to spend over $99 a night. I would have gladly left. Will never stay there again.

We had an early morning procedure to be done at Memorial Hospital and live 1 1/2 hours away so we stayed here for convenience the night before. We were very pleased with the location and the room was clean. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Stayed at BW Central a week ago for a multi-day visit with family and friends. Clean rooms, immaculately maintained facility, professionally managed, fairly priced rates, and exceptionally kind + friendly customer service. I'm in the hospitality business and understand how hard it is to accomplish all these qualities at once but this hotel has figured it out ! A special shout out to TJ, general manager, Jane, breakfast hostess, Billy, maintenance manager, Vickie, front desk, and the entire housekeeping staff. I have never stayed over in Savannah before and wanted to see the city. I looked into hotels in Savannah and came across at great deal with Bookings.com, $65/night at the Best Western Central Inn in midtown. Before making a reservation as I am cautious to good deals, I thoroughly read the recent reviews to this hotels; all good reviews from what I read. The staff is friendly, room is very clean, and the bed is comfortable. What I did not know is that Hunter Army airfield which is 2 blocks away had flyovers every 10-15 minutes which lasted till 11pm. Then at 4:30am it started again for about 30 minutes. Nothing is noted about this and I know it is not the hotel's fault. The bed pillows are lumpy and the towels are rough. Breakfast was poor; oatmeal lumpy, not a good selection and the juice is not juice. The hotel is in an ideal location. Be aware that there is construction going on at this hotel.

The rooms were very nice and comfy. The decor was pleasant to the eyes. Temperature was relaxing. All the necessities we needed was in the room. Best Western Central Inn is by far our first pick whenever we go on vacation in Savannah!!!

My friends and I stayed at this Best Western Central when we had a meeting in Savannah. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast was ok, but we actually ate at Denny's one day for a really good breakfast. The rooms were clean and the furniture and carpet had just been updated. The room was very roomy and had in-room coffee and tea, iron, large screen TV and hairdryer. The price was good and only about 20 minutes to downtown Savannah and the Convention Center.

Standard hotel experience for the rooms, cleanly. Check in was slightly delayed but no big issue. Staff was incredibly friendly, especially at the breakfast. Victoria, Pat, Jay, Kaleigh and Valentina made the breakfast fun and pleasant (Especially trying to keep up a dance with Pat)

Everything was clean and felt new. There were still rooms being done, and construction woke my wife up around 4AM, but what they are doing there is very nice. Breakfast was not as great as in the pictures but it was free.

Good location not many miles from any place I'd plan to visit. The hotel is next to the army base so the sound of airplanes were present but nothing overbearing. The rooms were clean. Check in was a breeze. My family n I would stay here again

The motel is located in a great place close to shopping and food outlets. Only a very short drive to grocery shop as well.Shuttle available for Old Savannah tours that we took. Only down side was they had only one washer & drier for such a large motel.

This is a motel, not a hotel. The check in and out were quick and easy and the clerk was very friendly. The room was fine except the bugs I had to kill - not good!! The breakfast was perfect!! So many fresh choices!!!

I don't write a lot of 1 star reviews as I'm in the Hospitality business. This needed to be said. The encounter with Theron (TJ) James the self proclaimed "General Manager" was the worst encounter I've had with an individual in the hospitality industry ever! I called the day of my reservation to confirm my girlfriend would be checking in and all charges would remain on my card. When "TJ" answered the phone there was no greeting or introduction just a "What can I do for you?". I can understand someone being busy or bothered with some life situations so I initially let it slide. I proceeded to confirm that everything was fine for my girlfriend to check in. "TJ" told me that she could not check in without my card physically being there. Other BW hotels she stayed at under my name did not have a problem with that. He just continued to be obstinate instead of being helpful. That's when I told him he can send me over a Credit Card Authorization Form (of which he the later self proclaimed "General Manager" never mentioned). He never emailed it. Called a second time after he never sent it. He answered but when I asked who I was talking to he said "Who do you want to talk to?" Who the hell answers a business phone like that!? I asked who I was taking with and he finally said "TJ". When my lady arrived she had to email the form because Theron was not competent enough to do it either time I called. (even though you have my email right in the reservation) He was arrogant and conceited when he told her his full name with title. Maybe Theron spilled coffee on his self or skipped his daily medication which resulted in the way he acted. Regardless that is not how you set a company culture for your guests or fellow employees Theron! On a side note she got video of the room before and after it was immaculate.

Friendly staff, clean updated rooms, great breakfast (waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, donuts, muffins, bagels, yogurt). Nice pool. Our 2nd stay here and will definitely be returning next year!

This is a motel, not hotel. It is in a sketchy area. Looks like they have made upgrades, and are in the process of doing so. I have no desire to stay in a place that has a room sign telling me I will be charged and how much, if I steal linen. I would not stay here as a woman traveling alone. Sketchy.

This hotel is only about 4 miles from the historic district. It was clean and our grandchildren really enjoyed the well kept pool. It is close to a highway so a bit noisy but we were able to sleep. The breakfast was good but it is in a very crowded small room. The staff was very friendly.

We only stayed one night but were greeted by present staff after a long drive who were quick with checking us in. Facilities presented well and were very clean. Breakfast was better than expected. Hotel was adequately priced for services provided!

This time without any notice they were renovating. We love to come to BW Central Inn. But this time the noise of the renovations was too much. Im happy that they keep the place up to date. But we needed this break and we were told that the manager was not working today. It was 9:30 am in the morning. Well the next day, he didn't do a thing but say when you come back I will make sure you're ok. That's not customer service.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Excellent value for money. Our room was one that had been remodelled so very clean although AC leaves a bit to be desired as room was very warm all the time. Breakfast was basic, but an added bonus as it's free and the ladies that run the breakfast are lovely. Area a bit far from Downtown especially if u don't have a car. Would stay here again for sure.

Friendly staff, great breakfast, clean rooms, swimming pool and easy access to down town Savannah. Always stay at Best Western Central Inn whenever we travel to Savannah and will continue to stay there. Best deal for your buck, would recommend to everyone to stay there.

I had made a reservation error which the personnel kindly and efficiently corrected. The room was recently renovated and it is high-end. I appreciate that Best Western invests in their facilities. I have never been disappointed by any stay at Best Western and Central Best Western Savannah is the best of the best.

Don't pass this one by - the whole place just finished a complete face-lift. New everything from the outside, the grounds, the pool area, and of course the rooms. During our stay they were completing the last of outfitting the rooms with brand new furnishings. The entire staff was friendly and greeted you with a smiling Hi or Hello - even the housekeeping and grounds keeper. This place should be rated as a BW - Plus and kit is in our minds, but at the regular BW price which was very welcomed.

This is where we always stay when visiting Savannah. It's a short easy trip to downtown, there are plenty of shops all around for whatever you need, and no crazy parking fees. They have a good breakfast that is included. We had an extra bonus this trip, we got to stay in one of the newly renovated rooms. I applaud the owners for doing a great job. There are plugs on the night stand on each side of the bed that have built in usb charging ports so you don't need to look for a plug for your chargers. An always great stay was made even better in the renovated room.

I appreciated the cleanliness. Also, the shopping is so very close and I was able to buy a few lovely things to take home. Having the shuttle there to go downtown on the tour is excellent. Tis year I was able to find my own way, as a result. this so a safe place for a single senior like me.

Wonderful relaxing time. The hotel was clean, in a great location! Very lose to everything you need, but far away from all the traffic of uptown. Staff was great and kept the rooms updated and clean everyday. Will be staying here again.

I considered staying in the histotic district until I saw the $22 self park fee. So I decided on this hotel which is undergoing top-down renovations. Newly painted exterior, fresh room paint and new furniture & fixtures were in progress. I was impressed with this investment being new to staying at BW (was a Hampton fan) compared to properties I recently stayed at in Dallas & Ft. Lauderdale which really needs it. Hopefully the management can sustain the improved look with quality housekeeping and maintenance teams while continuing their very competitive price points. I plan to stay here again next time I'm in Savannah. The only downside is breakfast ended at 9am (Monday)and they have those standard BW towels.

I was in heaven when I entered my room. Everything was squared away and I marveled at the close proximity to downtown Savannah. The front desk personnel are at the top of their game and deserve a major pay raise. As for the breakfast ladies, outstanding! That skinny girl, I think her name is Tonya and she makes the best eggs.Very hard working also! She deserves a raise. The other young seems strange and scared my little ones.Anyway, I will recommend this hotel to my friends.

Shea, the front desk person at a very late hour, rooms almost filled, fit us in a great room and exactly where we were needed. Room; super clean, AC and TV worked fine, bathroom spotless, beds nice and firm but soft. Now about that oatmeal, I never have been in a place that offered hot oatmeal; creamy, slightly sweet, and had condiments to put on in I put on shredded coconut, and brown sugar. They, of course, had all the other breakfast items, waffles, vanilla yogurt on tap, sausage, eggs, sausage gravy and biscuits, juices, and coffee to die for; full bodied, yet not bitter. I tried to coax Ruby, the breakfast magician, for how she made it and she said "honey, that is my secret to get you to come back". Darn! I am coming back, Ruby, just for the coffee and the oatmeal!

We stayed at this for 2 nights. They have a good hot breakfast (gravy,biscuits and eggs with sausage). The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. The cable was very good, and the shower water pressure was excellent.

Very affordable and nice place to stay. Friendly staff that take care of the place. It is an older style hotel, but in great condition. We were able to get connecting rooms, which helps with so many kids. Rooms are spacious, with two double beds, and a small table with two chairs. The room has a mini fridge, microwave and coffee pot. Outside pool that is nice for the kids. We would defiantly stay again.

These owners and their employees work super hard to maintain an older style hotel which is in a great location. Renovated carpeting and beds and breakfast staff along with a great pool and low noise level and no pets, make this my go to place to stay. Pricing is great midweek!!!

Great location for quick get-away to Savannah--located approximately 6 miles from Historic Downtown. Easy to get back and forth. Rooms and property were very clean and well-maintained. Close to the mall. Enjoyed our stay!

Recently updated old fashioned motel. Nice larger rooms new beds and furniture . Nice large outside pool. Good breakfast or Waffle House next door.good location for Savannah attractions . Close to large shopping area .

Our room looked like it was recently remodeled. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The hotel is close to many restaurants and 15 minutes to downtown. Breakfast was decent. Breakfast room was small and crowed. Coffee maker too close to waffle maker, making it hard to get a quick cup of coffee. Our main complaint is the air conditioner. It sounded like there was a lawnmower in the room. It was one of the loudest units I can remember. Hotel was fully booked so we we could not change rooms. We did did not have a good nights sleep. From reading the reviews this is a common problem at this property. So if you decide to stay here bring earplugs.

Nice motel about 5 miles south of city center. Slightly older but well maintained. Outside entrance. Room and bath were clean including the carpet. Larger room than normal with Ref/MW/Coffee maker, 2 chairs and desk. Large wall mounted TV. Bed was comfortable. Could use extra light over bathroom sink. Easy check-in/out. Two staff members manning the desk. Excellent breakfast: eggs sausage, gravy/biscuits, oatmeal, fruit, waffles, bagels, dry cereal. Staff member on duty in the breakfast area kept food replenished and the area clean.

This hotel is about a 15 min drive to the historic part of Savannah. Which at first I was bummed about but then after touring Savannah and taking the ghost tour I was glad we were a little bit out of the way. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was pretty good. I would give this 5 stars except the mattress was terrible. To be fair, I have a bad lower back. But this mattress is the worst I have ever slept on at a hotel. I actually went to Walmart the last night and bought a pillow top mattress pad. While we were there they were replacing all the mattresses in the hotel but our room had already gotten the new ones. They are firm with no pillow top so there is no give. Now my daughter slept fine. So I would say if you don't have back issues you're probably ok. But if you do I could not recommend this hotel.

This BW is, as its name suggests, central to the historic area of Savannah, to Typee Island, to Wormsloe, and even to South Carlolina. The breakfast buffet is modest, but its offerings are ample and satisfying. Our room was clean to start and cleaned well every day. All told, a very good hotel.

The room was big and very Nice bed. Breakfast Also perfect. The pool was not working but everything else was Great! I would like to recomend this hotel. Close to The shopping mall aswell. Go visit it!

Stayed the wknd for a wedding. The room location was great, RM122, breakfast was also great. The distance to downtown for myself and this trip was not the best. Wish I was closer. More bath towels are needed. Clean rooms. Hotel exterior kept up, freshly painted and very clean. Location is great across from the mall and plenty of nearby food, gas and all. Wish they had told me about the shuttle svc. I also booked with a xhild and due to the qedding asked about 2 other kids at breakfast if it turned out they came back to hotel with me. It was no problem at all. Thank you for that BW. My only real complaint is the room smell. So hard to cover old smoking rooms. Room fresheners would really do wonders.

We stayed there for 4 nights without any issues. Ms. Ivy who runs the breakfast does an excellent job keeping everything stocked and clean. There is a free shuttle from Old Savanna trolley company that will pickup and deliver back to the hotel which was nice. We did use the pool which was nice and clean although no pool towels. The hotel is on the flight plan for the Air Force base so there was lots of noise from that but it didn't bother us because we didn't hear them when we were sleeping. All and all above average basic hotel.

Very clean well appointed quiet room. Great soft bed. nice bath. Pool was nice. Close to down town and easy return to freeway. Close to restaurants and lots of parking. Staff was very friendly. Basic hotel breakfast but warm and fresh.

I base my review on LaQuinta/Drury Inn stays. The outside of the hotel is clean and nicely kept up. It has a pool which was clean and provided nice seating. The hotel lobby has Savannah information available. Central Inn provides breakfast. The usual, eggs, sausage, fruit, rolls, bread, oatmeal, yogurt, juices and coffee. Only problem – not enough tables for the number of people. Don't go 30 minutes before closing as the food starts to thin and it is usually crowded. The room was adequate. The refrigerator has both a freezer and refrigerator, which was nice. You are offered shampoo and soap. No lotion or cream rinse. That might offend some people. It was clean… But we had a few cobwebs, the furniture is not the newest, and more chemicals need to be used when cleaning. That said, Central Inn was putting in new carpet, the walls had been recently painted, and they were putting in new bed frames. They do offer a washer and dryer for $2.50 each. If you are use to staying at the above mentioned hotels, you may be disappointed.

My wife and I stayed here 3 nights at the end of March 2019 while on a 24 day road trip of the Deep South. This was the first hotel on this road trip which was styled on the "motel" concept. There was a swimming pool in the central courtyard area, which enabled us to sit out in the sun on the afternoon of our arrival day. Pool was still a little too cold for us to use though! Our room was OK, not the largest on this trip, but it was equipped with everything that one would expect. Great shower in the bathroom, the TV was good and the bed was large and comfy but the overall room cleaning was poor (we watched a paid of cleaners go into our room after our first night and spend 5 minutes in total inside. We went back to find the bed not properly made (bolster was still on an adjacent chair) and no vacuuming had been down. Further investigation revealed they hadn't moved furniture to vacuum behind for months, given the amount of dust revealed!). Breakfast buffet was very crowded every day we attended (Saturday through to Monday) and finished at 9am on the weekday (unexpectedly early!). Not very inspiring breakfast but they had the best biscuits of our entire trip!

A super wonderful staff with lots of extra efforts to help and welcome make this hotel a big success!!! The room was very comfortable and the price and location just right! When the Coast Guard flight crew came in the breakfast room, we were thrilled to honor them! A memorable visit!

This is our 4th year staying here.. The rooms are clean The staff very friendly and helpful.. Breakfast is good with a wide variety. We love that the owner is on site, talking with the guests. He showed us how he is remodeling every room with new carpet, beds and furnishings. Can't wait to return next year

My Company has been using this hotel for the pass couple of months for a job that we are doing on Lincoln St. on the Bike Lanes. If your in the area check out the Green Bike Lanes on Lincoln St. :) I have no complaints on this Hotel. Close by everything that we needed. The Hotel area is very clean and very nice. Everyone has been so nice & the service very professional, friendly & fast service. Breakfast is always on time, hot & have plenty for all the guest. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Cant complain. We will be doing the Bike Lanes on Price Street very soon, so hopefully this Hotel will be available. Thank you for Your Service & keep up the good work

Considering that I had stayed at many best westerns over the past few years (and being very satisfied), I thought choosing to stay at the best western central inn in savannah would be no different. Surprisingly, though, I had quite a poor experience with the best western central inn to the point that I cannot recommend it. First, the air force base next door had planes taking off as late as 1130pm on a weeknight (Monday, in this case), thereby making it very difficult to sleep. Secondly, the air conditioning unit in the room was just as loud as the planes soaring over the inn, making it very also difficult to sleep. The room gets so musty and hot that you have no choice but to run the ac and listen to it rumble on, erratically. Third, the room was very filthy with dust and dirt everywhere. It was kind of embarrassing to see a hotel in the US be far dirtier than any hotel I had seen in third world countries. Fourth, the grounds and rooms of the hotel are open to any one to enter as they please, leaving guests susceptible to possible theft or worse. Also, there was little to no security on the grounds, whatsoever. And, yet considering all these factors, the inn didn't even have a safe in the room. Fifth, even though the inn was "only 5 miles from historic Savannah," it felt much further and seemed to take 20 min at least to get to and from the historic center. The location isn't convenient. A few years ago, I stayed at a hotel near the savannah airport and that seemed way closer and convenient to the historic center of town. Lastly, the inn makes false promises on its pamphlet stating that it offers hbo. One reason I looked forward to staying at the inn was so I could also watch the season premiere of Game of Thrones (esp since I wasn't going to have a chance again for more than a week later). Well, the inn doesn't have HBO. Because the show is so popular and I didn't want to have it spoiled, I had to purchase a streaming device that cost almost as much as one night at the inn. Seriously, writing this review is making me more angry. Initially, I was going to give it two stars, but, now can only give it one star. I know it's a cheap option, but honestly, it's not worth it. Stay somewhere else.

We were very happy with everything in this hotel . Friendly staff, Great included breakfast , Clean and reasonable rate . The only thing I was disappointed in was that it lists the property about 4 miles from the HISTORIC area and it takes a lot longer to get there by car (20 minutes) and they had told me there was a shuttle which there is not . A tour of the city for about 30.00 a person took us downtown and was exellent and we ubered home . All in all I would probably book this hotel again unless I wanted to be closer to walking and pay more for the historic location but its not difficult to get there by car if you dont mind the 20 minute drive and finding parking which is scarce

2 night stay that was above expectations. The rooms were clean and staff welcoming. They currently seem to be upgrading rooms, but ours already had newer carpeting and bedding. The hotel is just a 10-15 minute drive to the Savannah historic area. We were able do our site seeing and easily return to our room for a break before going out again. Breakfast is basic hot and cold options that is well maintained by the staff. All in all a great place to stay at a reasonable price.

I have had to spend several weekends in hotels lately. I am a return guest at this Best Western, and I was looking forward to being here. The rooms are always incredibly clean, the staff is friendly, and the value is worth being 3 miles from downtown

Staff was very friendly and breakfast staff stayed up on keeping everything cleaned up. It was very quiet and very lighted parking area. This Best Western was near shopping and restaurants. Very family orientated place to stay.

Room was clean and adequate. No safe in the room. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was your usual free breakfast sausage,biscuits, scrambled eggs, fruit, cereal etc. Front desk staff was extremely helpful in helping us arrange some tours. Renovations were happening while we were there so it was a little noisy but that is to be expected and it was during the day. My only complaint is....they know when a room is going to be a check out. Don't come and knock on my door at 9, I wasn't sleeping, but what if I was. So if you plan on sleeping in on your check out day, put out your Do not Disturb sign.

We were in town for our daughters competition. Hotel was centrally located for everything we wanted to do. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was kept clean and replenished. A good stay and will return next we visit Savannah.

This was home base for vacation while in Savannah. It was much cheaper than locations in the center of town, and the bus provided affordable transportation right near the hotel. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Staff was very helpful even though room service was a little too early for vacation mode. A great choice for an affordable stay in Savannah

This hotel was in a great location with a easy drive or Uber to the historical district or to Bonaventure Cemetery. Valerie at reception and the rest staff were very friendly. We had a comfortable night sleep and a adequate complementary breakfast with free tea/coffee all day which was a nice touch.

Convenient location on a main thoroughfare to downtown, or via tour trolley pickup and dropoff ($5 extra fee), Ultra-friendly breakfast room staff greets guest with a smile and charm, though breakfast offerings seem somewhat limited. Room housekeeping was sub-par, with dirt and hairs in bathroom. Biggest drawback is the location below the landing approach for Air National Guard planes, which come in low and noisily on weekdays as late as 9 p.m. -- drowning out TV, conversation and disturbing rest.

I gave this hotel a 5 star for its excellent service, simple quality rooms that are clean and well equipped, it's quality for price and good location. We liked the setup where you open room doors and load easily from parking lot. The staff were friendly, helpful. Thanks!

I stayed here last week for three nights. This reminded me of those 1960s motels that never lost its charm. These people take pride in their property. There was always staff outside Sweeping up the parking area etc. Very nice landscaping with blue landscaping lights that Added a nice touch. Very wide parking spaces and what seemed like a newly paved parking lot. I was in the building second floor facing the pool. My room was very clean and comfortable. Soft bed , nice flatscreen TV . Best of all thick new carpet. Nothing worse than entering a room too worn out carpet and your feet stick to it like at a Chinese buffet. My only request would be to upgrade the towels. getting a little thin and scratchy. I know I'm only paying $60+ dollars . Breakfast met my needs since I mostly eat cold cereal. Fruit and yogurt would've been nice. I did not like the orange juice, tasted like water. Coffee was good and hot. Waffles seemed to be a big hit. Breakfast staff was friendly and always cleaning up after any slob who is inconsiderate of others. Well deserving of a tip. A lot of cool local restaurants between the hotel and downtown. An excellent deal for $60+ . This is no roach coach. I would stay here again because the owners and staff take pride in their property.

I booked this directly from what I thought and appears it was scam. I repeatedly said I didn't want a smoking room, male kept hedging and I kept pressing the issue he would agree then when he would review the order he would leave out it was non smoking. I said I would not pay for a smoking room. He stressed it was non refundable and sure enough when I arrived at hotel they claimed all out of non smoking and only smoking room. I refused to pay for this charge. He reported I had booked with third party which I didn't think I did. Then he claimed this happened to three other customers. I walked out. They appeared to be fully aware and allowing this to happen to get the bill themselves since they made such a big deal w being non refundable. I have never had a problem w best western before. This was total bait and switch Very disappointed

This is out second time staying at this location and each time our room has been very clean and the up front hotel staff so friendly and helpful with directions, recommendations on places to eat, entertainment ect.

From this location we visited the Riverwalk, downtown Savannah and Fort Pulaski. This hotel is two-story with room doors that go directly to the outside. No elevator for 2nd floor. You have to walk outside to get to the main lobby area for breakfast. Gas stations and many restaurants surround the hotel. Hotel is almost right next to the mall. Parking spaces seem to be a little tight unless the people on either side of me parked too close. There are two buildings. We were located in building number one or the largest building. If we were in the area we would stay there again.

Booked a room in advance, when checking in, given room # 225, swiped card and could not get into the room. My husband tried several times and even knocked. At 10;30 pm we dragged our stuff to the lobby where we heard the front desk state to phone calls they had no other rooms. We were given room # 117 on the bottom floor which turned out to be a smokers room. I did not know these existed. The room smelled terrible. My husband and I both had work to do. We could not sit in either chair at the little work table-disgusting stains. My husband used one of his shirts to sit on. i sat on the bed after my husband checked for bedbugs. I kept smelling a urine smell and checked pillow cases-they did smell . I finally went and sprayed them down with some of my hair product. the valance over the drapes had a big stain were obviously there had been water damage from above.Still smelling urine on the bed linens -I guess it was sour laundry smell. We did not bother with deluxe breakfast after the room was so disgusting. We would not recommend this to anyone else nor stay again. Front desk employee was nice but i wish she would have told us we were getting smokers room since we were unable to get into the first one. Apparently you have to use your shoulder and hit the door once you swipe the card and get the green light. For a $139.00 a night I would have expected something nicer.

If you enjoy customer service, DO NOT Go To BW in Savannah, GA. We had a very offensive odor in our room. When we reported it to the front desk, I first as if they had air freshner. The clerk informed me there was a dollar general down the street. The comment upset my husband so he call front desk, they sent a maintance man who sprayed some sort of freshner that lasted about 5 minutes. Went back to desk and said it was because my husband has just urinated in the toilet. REALLY!!! We called again and ask if we could be moved, the lady at front desk first said they were full then opted to move us. We had been in room for 2hrs. so we had to pack up everything and move. Oh wait they did deduct 15 dollars off our bill.

I enjoy my stay at the hotel. The staff was very professional and friendly. I'm sorry I didn't get the hostess name at Breakfast what a nice and helpful lady. When you walk in she greeted you with good morning and a big southern smile. I will stay there again. Close to restaurants, the mall and only about ten minutes from historical downtown Savannah

I would stay here again if I needed an inexpensive place to store my items and shower for a long weekend while visiting my daughter at Hunter AAF. It is very close by and lots of places nearby to eat, etc. The rooms are definitely in need of an upgrade and face lift. Beds weren't great, but again decent priced room.

Loved the lights! • Front desk man during the day, lady who checked us in at night, and breakfast ladies were professional, kind, and efficient! :) • Staff were happy, positive, conscientious and just excellent people. We were in good company. • Clean grounds outside, parking ample, relatively well lit. No witnessed bugs. • Clean rooms! Bathtub shiny, shower curtains washed. No witnessed bugs. • TV remote control easy to clean. • High-speed Internet worked well. • Refrigerator with freezer area. • Breakfast with delicious waffles, biscuits with gravy, and other hot foods. • Non-smoking rooms and minimal neighbors outside who smoked. --Cons-- • Bathtub and toilet area have no space for clothing or getting dressed • Alarm clock radio buzzed intermittently, so I unplugged it • Heater/Air Conditioning somewhat loud and abrupt at night • Mattresses were not memory foam :( • Breakfast TV didn't have captions on :( (Breakfast at 08:30 was very busy) • No elevators (only two floors, though) • Make sure to check that the refrigerator is plugged in.

We were there for 2 nights. The rooms are clean & no noise. The hotel is located close to historic & the river area. We bought tickets for the trolley ,paid $5 in lobby. Their shuttle picked us up & bought us back too. Very convenient. The breakfast girls keep the stations clean & full. Shows pride. Please tip them! The lobby personnel polite and very professional. I would go back again.

Located only about 12 min. from downtown historic district(by car), room was very clean and quiet. Breakfast was above average. I found this place to be a great value and would stay there again. No complaints.

Staff was very cordial and cooperative Location in central Savannah was ideal for our combined stay which was part leisure and part visit with relatives in area. Breakfast was very good and the staff at breakfast was very friendly and most helpful.

We stayed here because of the wonderful breakfast selection and service. You probably save close to $20 for 2 people to eat the wonderful variety they offer. Anything you can want for breakfast, no matter your age, is offered.

Okay so it's a few miles south of the historic district and it's just the traditional motel format with external corridors. But the value here is just incredible. Every detail is carefully addressed. The entire property is clean and neat. Everything in the room, from the furniture to the toiletries, seems upscale. Obviously they've had a renovation recently, because everything is new and in pristine condition. The final detail is the friendliness of the staff. This is the best Best Western we have ever stayed at.

I stayed at this location back in 2012 and was not a happy camper. Decided to give it another try after seeing all the reviews and being it had been renovated, I was not disappointed. This hotel is in a great location, the rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Internet service worked great. Breakfast was always ready at 6am, is the typical complementary breakfast and it was good plus the price was excellent.

The Hotel was very clean.. check in was fast and friendly.. as was checkout.. Breakfast was standard but kept clean and well stocked.. Some reviews talked about plane noise from the base.. expecting it we were ready for it.. it never happened we must have picked a good night..this was the perfect stopping off place and we will stay again if we need to be in the area

As we had enjoyed our stay the night before in Huntersville , we decided to stay st Country Inn and Suites in Savannah tonight. As expected, every but as good as the Huntersville property. Staying here again on Feb 15

A reasonable location, not too hard to find, with plenty of amenities in the area. The room was a good size, clean and well appointed for the price. The breakfast was equal to a Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express. Parking was right outside the room which made carrying items into the room very easy. Our King Sized bed was very comfortable and everything in the room worked as it should.

We stayed here one night in January. No one told us that we were at the end of a military runway and the planes could be quite noisy. Fortunately they seem to stop by 10 pm. The room was clean a pleasant. I was impressed that the drape by the door was velcroed to the window frame so light could not come through. All the rooms I saw had exterior entrances, which is important to me. Breakfast are was large and choices were plentiful. Would not hesitate to stay here again if in the area

This is an excellent value hotel in the heart of Savannah. The hotel is well maintained and within walking distance of some great restaurants. We especially enjoyed the Pink House, best fried chicken I have ever had.

Our stay was the epitomy of great the service, the cleanliness of the room beds were so comfortable and the breakfast was very good lot of selections hot and cold..malls,,stores restaurants all within 5-10min drive oh and the trolly will pick you up at hotel which we booked thru the hotel the grounds of the hotel was immaculate..this hotel is where I would stay again and again

We needed to arrive at hospital at five o'clock in the am from 200 miles southwest of Savannah, so we decided to stay in a hotel on the night before. The best price in the area was Best Western Central. On checking in we were very pleased with the room and all services presented to us.

The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was a king and comfortable. I like the sink outside the bathroom area with large lighted mirror. Very nice breakfast area and plenty of breakfast options. I will visit again.

We chose this hotel because it was away from the touristy area. The location was near many conveniences, had on-site parking, was clean & comfortable. I cannot emphasize how helpful & kind Tamika, the front desk person, was to us. She not only located my husband's CPAP machine, which was left behind, but she helped us find a UPS store that would package & mail it to us. Tamika was a constant contact through the next few days, as the local UPS store had moved & we had to scramble to find another one that would go to the hotel to pick up the machine. I am so grateful that we did not have to deal with multiple employees throughout this episode. We will definitely be back & hopefully will not be a problem to the housestaff again!

Very clean property. The only complaint was we could here he TV from the neighbors but we eventually fell asleep. Great price for the location! We would stay there again! We were put into a handicapped room as that was all they had left. Floor was a bit sticky, but other than that it was a great stay!

This hotel is in a busy location, but it's on a nice side street. The Motel was perfectly kept and impeccably kept. The breakfast was busy, but well stocked. There is a nice looking outdoor pool that was closed during our stay because it was too cold.

Our second work trip here now, and both times we stayed at the Central Inn. They have a lot of security cameras and keep an eye on things well. The rooms have big refrigerators, a big mirror, a microwave, and a good sized sink area. Just what we need while keeping the cost down. It really helps that they lit this place up with bright blue lights, too - helps us find it quickly after a long day out on the job site! Oh and breakfast is pretty good - the ladies down there take pride in their food!

Ono of the best BW I have ever stayed. Looks new and clean. Expectations were absolutely respected and in a short time you can reach all the locations you want to.visit or where you wish having a meal.

This hotel is always very clean, friendly, accommodating, and fairly priced. The staff is very present both inside and outside. There is a salt water pool that is very clean and nice. Easy access to the midtown area.

Bed bugs! We checked into room 114 on Thursday, Dec 6, 2018. My wife and I were in the room for maybe 2 minutes and we saw 3 bedbugs on the table where they keep the alarm clock between the 2 beds. I took pictures. Immediately went back to the front desk and after 15 minutes she was able to cancel the reservation, though she couldn't print out an “official” cancellation. Problem is the money is held by the credit card company for 3-10 business days. Sent an email 2 hours later to the hotel's general manager. Still have not received a response. Bad enough your hotel is disgusting, bad enough your general manager can't even respond, but not having my money available is cheap, petty, possibly illegal, and shows how pathetic Best Western is. I urge everyone reading this to boycott a company who conducts themselves this way. Best Western is the worst.

When determining a rating for this hotel, I had a hard time coming up with a number because value is very important to me and trumps most other criterion. Price doesn't matter- it is the value of a purchase whether it is $40 or $700/night. However, I will not be returning to the Best Western Central Inn. Why? Noise. The hotel is right next to Hunter Army Airfield. Or more specifically, right under the flight path of incoming planes headed to the facility. Because of this, we had to deal with random and very loud heavy aircraft noise all the way up to 11:27p on Tuesday night. It was so loud, we couldn't hear the TV and when we were in the bed, it woke us up- several times. Frankly, I'm surprised that this aspect hasn't been mentioned more in other reviews. The hotel is older, but you can tell management has been spending money on it to update it and keep it a good value, but it just isn't enough to trump the horrendous noise from the airfield next door. There are better choices in Savannah.

I am not surprised that I was told the occupancy rate for this hotel is 75-80% all year. They did a fabulous job of remodeling it. paint looks fresh, carpet and floor in bathroom is in good shape. The bed was super comfy and breakfast was great and the staff are super helpful. Although it is a little bit out of down town Savannah,the price is right and convenient for the Mall shopping and eating.

Location was great. Convenient to downtown and the suburban shopping centers. I was there for a soccer tournament. The location was perfect for the various game locations throughout the city. I was really impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms and property. Staff was pleasant and helpful. It was a great value

BW motels are independently owned and this place hit the A's on all of it!! Starting off being greeted by Ms Whitfield (I hope that's right) after a very long what should have been short drive just what this gal needed. I asked for a ground floor and she made that happen. I booked a non smoking room for 6 nights 7 days. The room is exactly what I needed. Frig microwave, clean and quiet. There was no odor, or stains anywhere. Carpets so clean I took my slippers off. Clean and modernized kind of furniture. The cleaning staff is so helpful exchange fresh towels and trash bags. OMG the Breakfast was awesome I am not sure why other reviews so low but you get hot and cold fruit ceral eggs meat breads just lots to choose from. I think the only B I will give is for the TV, I could NOT use my laptop OR Roku. The TV would let me change the inputs. As for visiting Savannah historical area I recommend the DOT buses they are FREE and take you to all the major must sees. Thank you BW for being so amazing.

It was cold and we'd been traveling all day and I was looking forward to a nice hot bath but the water was warm. Towels were not soft and the breakfast was sad. Swiveled up oranges, stale muffins, yogurt machine that didn't work and strong coffee.

Good hotel with reasonably sized rooms and comfortable beds. Fridge, microwave, hairdryer and iron come as standard. Excellent parking close to rooms. This is about six miles from the city centre so walking there is out unless you are a walking fanatic. Not too many eating places close at hand unless you are into fast food. Breakfast was OK with good and varied selection. All at a reasonable price.

Stayed for five nights and couldn't be more pleased. The location is an easy fifteen minutes drive to downtown Savanna. The hotel has many restaurants in the area and the Oglethorpe Mall a quarter of a mile away. Breakfast was okay scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy and cereals. If that's not okay a Waffle House is fifty feet walk from the entrance . The lobby is updated and staff extremely pleasant. The hotel grounds are wonderful recently resurfaced and exterior painted in pleasant colors and fresh landscaping. The room is updated and spotless my socks were clean all week and the bathroom and sink area has laminate flooring again spotless. The bathroom has the prefabricated tub and shower no mildew anywhere and new toilet and seat. Nice flatscreen, TV mini fridge, new lamps with plug adapters for charging convenience. Bed very comfortable with six quality pillows Can't tell you how pleased I was with the choice if this hotel staff and management are to be commended

The staff was amazing, the breakfast was really good, and the place was fairly clean. I didn't find the beds very comfortable. The bathroom did smell slightly of urine, I always bring wipes and Lysol so that seemed to take care of the issues. It was not far from downtown at all, a quick 15 minute drive. The thing that makes this place great is the staff, very warm and welcoming. We had a slight issues at 10:30 in the evening and the staff was quick to help!!

This hotel was about 25 minute drive from the Historic District. It is an easy drive. Just on and off the highway for an exit or two and you're smack dab in the middle of downtown. You can drive in and park in one of the garages for 5 bucks for the day. We lucked out each time and got a parking. I don't care what anybody says, there is no need to pay top dollar to stay downtown and then cry in your checkbook about it. We stayed 3 nights with AAA discount and paid 360.00. Thurs to Sun. We ate a little breakfast which is free here. I only had tea and biscuit but there is eggs, bagels, cereal, coffee, juice and the like. If that ain't your thing, then go out and have breakfast. The hotel was located as such that there are quite a few restaurants around. You can go early and do a trolley tour (parking is free) come back after the day, take a nap or shower, then head out for round two whether it's for dinner downtown and walk around River Street or whether to party with friends. Tybee is not far either. If you get a chance stop at Ft. Pulaski on a Sat and see the cannon firing demo. This hotel is very nice for the money. The personnel always greeted you. There are a couple of vending machines if you want a snack at night. Clean and safe is what matters. If you get a room on the first floor you can park right in front of your room and not have to drag everything up the stairs. Stay! You'll be glad you did. I would stay again besides why pay through the nose for a room you'll hardly be in.

Great Staff, Clean, convenient, and a good hot breakfast. This Best Western has everything except a lounge. Convenient to the historic district, waterfront, airbase, and shopping. That's the reason we stay here year after year for an annual conference - and then stay a few extra days to be a tourist.

I was super impressed as I walked in to the lobby for the first time. It was very clean, inviting, and smelled really nice. The gentleman who checked us in was very nice and friendly. I like smiles and friendliness and he had both. My room was nice, clean, and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great, with many choices, and the breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotels to others.

We selected this hotel mainly because of the higher review rating combined with price. We were very happy with our stay. The room was spotless and well maintained. The pillows were comfy as well as the bed except for a slight downward tilt on the side that I slept on but since it was a king size, I just moved a little further over and had no issue with it. The hotel location was about 15 minutes from the historic district and not difficult at all to travel. The breakfast provided was very good with something that should appeal to everybody. What I didn't know before arriving at the hotel was that if you booked a trolley tour through the hotel, that you could get picked up at the hotel. We had already booked a tour online and had to go downtown to catch it. If this was mentioned anywhere on the Best Western website, I did not see it. Excellent stay and would stay here again.

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was the best of all the hotels we stayed on our trip. The pool wasn't cramped and was nice and cool in the hot weather. We would definitely stay here again.

Agoda charged my credit card but never sent a confirmation. We arrived at the Best Western Central Inn in Savannah to discover that they did not have our reservation and they were sold out for the night. We saw them turn a guest away but they were understanding of our predicament and found a room for us. Prices at this hotel are inexpensive and the property is well cared for. The staff is professional and helpful. We will return. We send blessings to Mr. Johnson and Ms. Whitfield. They are outstanding ambassadors for Best Western!

We stayed 3 nights. Convenient location and only a 15 minute drive to the historic district, River Street, Bonadventure Cemetery, Wormsloe, etc. Impressively clean, well-maintained property. Shay at front desk did a great job in welcoming us throughout the check-in process. Complimentary Breakfast matched higher-priced properties. The ladies who manage this did an excellent job. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. This property matched much higher priced options in the area. I highly recommend a stay here.

Cant recommend this hotel highly enough. The location was great. The breakfast was hot buffet. It was spotlessly clean. The staff were very helpful. The rooms, beds and pillows were so comfy. Everything in the room you could wish for.

This hotel appears to be an older style 2 story drive up motel, but the rooms have obviously been recently updated. Lots of parking, right in front of our door. Check in was busy but very efficient. Comfy bed, lots of counterspace in bathroom, good lighting with easily accessible plugs. Easy location to many Savannah sights and direct route to downtown. Our only disappointment was breakfast, not our favourite choices and had to ask for condiments. Good value for a good stay

We chose this hotel because smoking was permitted. Rooms were clean and rates reasonable. Though not in historic district, there was a shuttle to take you to the historic district. Also it was a quick drive to the same. Staff was very pleasant and helpful in answering questions. Complimentary breakfast was terrific. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again

The Best Western was clean and our hotel room was good for the price. The location is in a nice area with a variety of shops and places to eat. The breakfast area was well maintained and had a good variety of choices.
