    « Great Hotel & Location!!! »

I was on business for a trade show. I found the hotel to be in a great location with nice size rooms, comfortable beds, and very friendly, helpful staff. Lots of great restaurants close to the hotel. I will definitely come back the next time I am in Santiago.

« well priced hotel in good location »

This hotel was at the end of our trip, prior to travelling home. We were delayed by a day getting there but after sending an email, we did not lose our room. Initially checked into a twin room (despite booking a double), this was quickly changed by the staff with no fuss. The only problem was the new room was next to the kitchen and staff bathrooms and was very loud till late at night. We didn't mind too much though. Close to the shopping centre and lots of chain food stores. Comforable beds and endless hot water which can often be a trial in Sth America.

« Money was stolen from my backpack. »

I stayed at the BW Plus Los Espanoles in Santiago the week of November 8. When I checked out, I left my bag and backpack in storage. When I got home, I realized US$820 were missing from my pack. I called the hotel and let them know and I was assured they would look into the matter. A month later, with not even an e-mail message from the hotel, I sent a message to them and got a couple of messages back stating that this was the first time they heard about this, and "was I sure I didn't lose my money in transit? " After my reply to the las message, no further communication. I have stayed there several times in the past, but this will be my last.

« Good hotel, spacious room, nice location »

I stayed in this hotel for one week and must say it is among the best I've visited in the past year. Nice room with enough space to live. Ok bathroom (I always prefer a separate shower and this one is in the bath). Breakfast is quite extensive and diverse throughout the week. Free parking beneath the hotel. Verstuurd vanaf mijn iPhone

« First Trip to Chile and South America »

Hotel was in a great location to the city. Quick taxi ride from the hotel. Staff could speak English which was a great help to us. The hotel was well kept. Rooms were a little outdated but most importantly were very clean. The rooftop pool was beautiful and the scenery was breathtaking. I would stay here again just for that view. It's maybe a 5 minute walk to the Costenera (sp), which is a giant mall. At the hotel you can also purchase tickets to tour the city and the staff was very helpful at explaining where to go.

    « Always good »

This hotel is located in an excellent location. It's rooms are nice, clean, and well maintained. Good internet, good breakfast, and good facilities. The overall appearance of the hotel is nice. It is safe. Walking distance to Costanera Center is a big plus.

« Good hotel but old rooms »

Overall this is a good hotel for the budget - location and staff are very good, common areas are well equipped, including a great roof top pool. However it is really badly let down by the quality of the rooms themselves. Mine was very old with barely functioning air conditioning. The contrast with the rest of the hotel was very surprising.

« Nice hotel for short stay »

I stayed here for a couple of nights. The hotel is OK, but the rooms are a bit old and the windows allow for the cold and the noise to enter your room. Breakfast is OK. The receptionist forgot to order our airport taxi, even when we booked the night before.

    « Excelent! »

Spent 12 night for business in Santiago. 2km away from the office in a safe neighbourhood and 10 minutes walking distance from Costanera mall. Spacious room with living room separated from the room, bathtub and free wifi all over the hotel. Bfast is standard business, gym has one treadmill and two other machines. Did not use sauna or pool but they are located on the terrace and offer a nice view of city and mountains. Meals at the bar are standard and perfect after a long day where you dont want to venture out. Laundry delivery was on time and housekeeping overall was standard and as expected. Liked best: Staff is friendly, helpful and does not try to up or cross-sell. They understand you are there for work, period. Big room! Improvement: Stronger coffee and coffee/tea facilities in the room and/or for long stay guests. My tip: ask for a room in the new tower. Left is old, new is right. I was in 207.

« Very cosy, well-equipped and central hotel »

It's a relatively small hotel compared to other business hotels. It is, however, cosy and well-equipped. Quite central as well - this is not always good, of course, due to the traffic. Breakfast area looks small but breakfast is very nice and has a good variety. I read some bad reviews about the rooms. I must say that my room is on the right hand side as you look at reception and is very modern and comfy. The bed, in particular, is very very nice. However, no view at all (my room was on the 2nd floor looking over the back). It doesn't bother me but there was limited natural light. Rooms facilities are good and staff are very helpful. I must say though that their English is not great. If you wish to order room service, you will struggle a lot. Reception wasn't particularly helpful in translating over the phone either. However, if you actually go to see them, they are very helpful. Moreover, there were no tea/coffee making facilities. Cleanliness is good but the cleaners are disorganized and bother you a lot knocking on the door etc. Also, they didn't replenish the mini bar. Bathroom was average size but clean and modern. However, big minus for me, it did not have basic things like cotton button and toothbrush. Overall, I would recommend but manage your expectations if you are used to outstanding 4-star hotels.
