Very nice stay. Comfy beds, good breakfast. I would definitely stay here again. They have a nice area to take your pets to use. I liked the double sinks also. It looks like it was recently refurbished. Not much happening in Santa Rosa but there are a few restaurants.

We were slightly hesitant about the old style motel with parking by the front door. The hotel looks like an older hotel outside. Actually parking by the door of your room was extremely convenient. We opened the door to the room and were very pleasantly surprised. The room was huge and very modern and immaculately clean. There was a sitting area with a sofa and a very comfortable king size bed. The pillows were excellent. The bathroom was divided into a shower/toilet room with its own washbasin and a large washbasin area outside that room. The shower had GREAT water pressure, a nice plus these days. The TV, not a big deal for us, had a great selection of channels. The desk area and the bedside tables all had ample power outlets and USB charging ports. The free wi-fi was excellent. The breakfast offered was very complete with scrambled eggs, potatoes, and sausage patties on offer and a great selection of bread, rolls, and English muffins. Special plaudits for the mini Cinnabuns.

We were a bit uncertain of what to expect when reserving a room here but were pleasantly surprised. It is a unique Best Western in that you park your car outside of your room. The room was large, clean and very acceptable. The breakfast was pretty much the usual items and that was okay. We would stay there again if in the area.

Our room was perfect! Very clean and nice. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We slept well and woke up to a great breakfast. We love the automatic pancake maker! We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends!

We were traveling across many states to go to a funeral and had to stay at the Best Western for a second night due to ice & sleet. The owner couldn't have been more gracious to us. The room was very clean and the breakfast was very good as well. Its a very accommodating place.

Very clean room with comfortable bed and pillows. The girl at the desk was very nice and making the reservation went smoothly. I would definitely recommend this hotel. I found that there was a full breakfast menu my only complaint was the eggs did not taste good nor did the biscuits and gravy.

This was a real gem of a hotel. Safe, quiet, clean and a nice large room. Staff was super nice and helpful. We only heard one car door all night and were grateful for a good night's sleep. Breakfast was good and fresh, with the standard offerings of eggs, sausage, pastries, etc. We will absolutely stay here again.

Had a nice room with 2 queen beds. The space was comfortable, but room definitely needs updating. There was a big gap under the door to the room. It was windy the day of our stay and the wind was whistling under the door. When we saw the gap we commented on how bugs or mice could easily fit under that gap. Convenient location just off freeway with easy off/on access.

Clean is a priority when we are booking somewhere to stay! This place exceeded our expectations! The front desk person was genuine, friendly and helpful. The hot & cold breakfast was great! The breakfast area was clean and the food was fresh. Would definitely stay here again next time we are driving through this area!

We stayed here along with our dog while passing through town. It was clean and affordable, comfortable bed, great bathroom, felt safe, nice staff. It's not fancy but was a good choice for us, would stay again.

At time of booking no issues were encountered and the reservation per the hotel information was as stated during check ins. Breakfast was good and filling and easy to get to without much interference with guests and staff.

This is a very good stay for the price. The room is clean and the beds are quite comfortable. The highway noise calms down by bedtime. The breakfast is better than most hotels in this price range. The front desk personnel were friendly. We will stay here whenever the opportunity presents itself.

Extremely clean rooms, beautiful pool area, great hot breakfast and the most comfortable beds on the planet! Sad to say they're more comfy than my $2000 mattress at home. Everyone is so friendly here too.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel while traveling with 2 dogs. The hotel is set up for pets and is accommodating to them. The pet rooms have hard floors rather than carpeting. There is a very nicely set up pet area outside that is located close to the rooms. The room was very clean updated, and attractively decorated. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The price of the room was comparable to other hotel offering the same quality. 2 pets added to the cost to make it a little expensive, but I felt it was worth it.

The hotel was very, very nice, I enjoyed everything about it from the pool to the spa. The hospitality was great, the wine they had for guest every evening everybody was so pleasant and so nice. I would always go back and visit if I'm ever in the area what a great place to stay at. The ladies at the front desk were so awesome. Plus it across for beach and pier. Great location

Initially we were wary of the “Motel” (one story row of rooms with doors open to the parking lot) look of the facility. Thinking that the rooms might be “dated”, but such a pleasant surprise when entering the very updated and clean room. The bathroom area had two sinks (one in the room with the toilet and tub) and the second in the dressing area. There was also a very large armoire with plenty of hangers, a suitcase stand and full sized ironing board with iron. Our room had two queen sized beds and still lots of room for a desk, desk chair, small refrigerator, microwave, another suitcase rack and chairs with small coffee table. Parking was very available right in front of our assigned room, making for easy unloading of items. The staff were all very nice and professional, check-in was quick, yet informative. Breakfast is served in the office area with very clean tables and chairs. Lots of variety of breakfast items, including a “hands free” pancake maker that is a much fun to use as the pancakes were tasty. We used the wi-fi and it was fast enough for our use. Lighting in the parking lot was sufficient for dusk to dark walks and we felt like the safety of the facility was very good. There is an outdoor pool, we did not visit. Also a Washer and Dryer on site for the use by the patrons we did not use.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was quiet and clean. Breakfast was hot and plentiful. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Checking in and out was easy. Definitely would stay there again on my way through town.

Our room was clean I'll give it that but the bed was awful. I barely slept. When the bed is bad that's an immediate deal breaker. It was quiet and the shower was awesome which is a great thing. Breakfast was good. I can't say I will stay again without bed upgrades.

Nice, clean, quiet and comfortable hotel on old Route 66. Easy off and on the Fwy 40 for an overnight stay during our road-trip. Room was spacious with a sofa sitting area and all needed amenities. Staff was very friendly and professional. Called us to confirm our reservation and had no issues checking in after 10pm, which was very convenient and much appreciated after a long day on the road. The rooms are in motel format so we could park right in front of our door, which made for easy unpacking. They had a breakfast area that looked clean, but we decided to sleep in so did not see what items were available. Will definitely put this hotel on our list of stops when in the area again!

We stayed at this hotel twice—in two different rooms—once coming and once going. If I could give Best Western Santa Rosa Inn more than five stars, I would do it. Cleanliness is my number one priority, and the cleaning staff “hit it out of the park.” The rooms, both times, were so clean, I thought everything was new. A big plus was that there were TWO well-lighted bathroom sink areas with lots of room for my cosmetic case and more. Additionally, the hotel had soft water. The towels were big, clean, and fresh. The bed was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff members were friendly and helpful. In fact, one staff member noticed our struggle with the key card and walked across the parking lot to cheerfully help us enter our room. There was plenty of ice available, and the grounds were immaculate. I cannot comment on the breakfast or pool since we did not use those amenities. On a final note, I would suggest that Best Western Administration make their survey forwardable. My husband was the one who booked the rooms, but I am the one who completes the surveys. However, I wasn't able to fill out the survey, because my husband was unable to forward it to me. That is why I am writing this review on Trip Advisor. I can't add anything negative to this review. We would stay at Best Western Santa Rosa Inn again in a heartbeat.

This was one of the cleanest rooms I've stayed in. I had limited contact with these staff, but they were friendly. I would gladly stay here again. If I had a complaint it would be that we arrived too late in the day to use the pool.

Hotel and staff was great rooms were clean breakfast was delicious. Only downfall was the pool was dirty and smelled. The rooms didn't have enough towels Overall the stay was good for a night. I wouldn't stay more then a night tho.

We stayed here to take advantage of the pool for our grandsons…we wasted our money/points. The pool was extremely dirty and one of my grandsons refused to even give it a try. I wish we would have stayed someplace cheaper without a pool. This place didn't live up to its rating.

Since this hotel is an older style, I was a bit worried about booking it; however, it was cleaner, nicer, and better maintained than some 5 star hotels that I have stayed in. The front desk receptionist was very friendly as well. I will definitely be booking this hotel next time we are traveling through the area.

Arrived a little after three at a nice property far enough from I-40 to be relatively quiet. It's an old motor court converted by BW, so the drive-up parking is convenient. The clerk was normal at first but then began explaining the pet fee. I knew about the pet fee because I "booked" a reservation, in an attempt to find a motel with a good rating that took pets and didn't charge an arm and a leg. I was under the impression the room would be about $180. The clerk told me the pet fee was tacked on to that so it would be $224 but then went into hero mode to get us "the best rate." I mentioned--not in a harsh way, but in the most neutral tone imaginable--that it wasn't clear online, as the "room amount" listed with tax was $180. He went into Dr. Jekyll mode, became extremely argumentative and hostile, and so I tried to mollify him with "Well, it's no one's fault." He continued raging with "It's no one's fault but it certainly isn't OUR FAULT." At this point, I gave up because he's obviously a weirdo. Expecting guests to understand the intricacies of online hospitality software in the land of hidden fees isn't the best customer service approach. I looked up my "receipt" from BW later, the one that held my "reservation," and of course, it didn't explain the pet fee. The problem is the software walks you through choices like how many adults, how many pets, what type of room....then leaves you with a "room total" ($180) so it's inherently confusing. There is no asterisk that explains your "total" isn't really a total because other fees might be added. The room was clean and we were located at the end, so easy to get the pets outdoors. We ended up paying $180, and one of our dogs left a little tip. Normally, I'd feel bad about a soiled bathmat--but sadly, when you are abused at the front desk, it's hard to give a rat's ass. I wouldn't come back since clerks with temper problems aren't my idea of hospitality. Your mileage may vary.

Very clean room and Comfortable bed. Bathroom clean, shower had no mold. All caulking was intact and clean. Quite environment. Staff was pleasant. Area for dogs was nice. Area of location fine. Near places to eat and other attractions. Glad we this Hotel. Best priced of AAA approved hotels in Santa Rosa.

Rooms were clean and comfortable, partially updated and they allow pets. I like the fact this particular Best Western was 1 story and you could park in front of your door, very convenient. We were just passing through on our way back to Nevada so only stayed 1 night. I would recommend highly

Easy on/off from the major travel corridor. Fast, easy, and friendly check-in. I have stayed here multiple yimes enough to know a few of the hotel desk clerks are all friendly. They knew when the local restaurants closed and the surrounding areas. Clean, well organized and low key as a hotl should be.

This is an interesting motel. It is an older retro style motel where you park outside your room and the door is right there. I actually liked it because it was easy to unload the car directly into the room. The motel is older but our room was clean and sanitized and it had been remodeled. The bathroom was nicely appointed and more importantly clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating to our needs both check in staff and next morning staff. Breakfast was typical of hotel breakfasts and was fine.

Point Blank I was given a room without heat When asked about a new room I was denied do to having a service animal When I called as asked to resolve the issue I the manager was very rude and belittling using profanity and threatening Lawsuit if I did not withdraw my complaint against the property. Heater in room did not work and it smelled like a kennel. Asked for assistance and never got it. They were also discriminatory towards the fact I had a service animal as well. When I asked for a new room the on duty manager refused as I had a service animal stating that the room I was in was the only one left for for service animals and or pets. Service was non existent

One level motel with renovated quiet and clean rooms. We booked a king room which had plenty of space and large bathroom with two sink areas. Water was hot and good toiletries. Breakfast in the morning is served adjacent to the office and was good - yogurt, pastries, scrambled eggs, sausage, juices and cereals.

My husband stopped here for one night while traveling westward. I was a little worried about what kind of hotel this would be. We are not fans of outside entry. The room was clean and the area was nice and quiet.

This hotel is very convenient when traveling I-40. Parking is next to your room. There are plenty of plugs. The beds are comfortable. Breakfast is fine but the breakfast room is small. The hotel is very clean.

We have chosen to stay at this property several times. It is consistent. Like knowing it will be clean, good breakfast and safe. The staff is accommodating. The grounds surrounding the immediate property are well kept.

This property was wonderful. The room was clean and well-kept, the bed was comfortable, the hosts were gracious and considerate, the AYCE full hot breakfast was delicious with many healthy options, they were serious about good COVID protocol. Great value for the money.

I have stayed at many BW's over the years, but my experience at the BW Santa Rosa, earned 5 stars from me. First off I loved the layout of the inn and the outside area was very clean. Our check in was easy and the lady at the front desk was kind and professional. The room was the cleanest I believe I have ever experienced at a BW. And I was pleased with the way it was laid out too. Our stay was quiet and our check out was simple. I have no complaints. My future BW's will have the same expectations as I experienced at this one. We thought about stretching our day to be further along, glad we didn't! Hotel is vintage with all current features. Room was clean, quiet and modern. Touch entry, USB in rooms. Breakfast was a surprise - no touch pancakes and multiple choices of toppings, plus the usual morning items. Vending, ice and laundry easy to access. We will definately stop again.

This is the second time we have stayed here and the staff is so friendly and accommodating. The rooms are immaculate, quiet and safe. There is ample parking for our large RV. There is variety at breakfast with healthy options. We will definitely stay again when in Santa Rosa.

we planned to stay at this hotel for months, we booked most of our trip with best western, this hotel close to freeway but not so close you get the noise, pool was very nice and refreshing as temps were in the 90s all rooms were ground floor which makes it easy to unload.

It is a great place except that the breakfast area is too small for the number of people staying. In the food area you are cheek-by-jowl with everyone else and fighting to get to the dish you want/need. And the seating area is also too small. You feel like a sardine.

Always spotlessly clean and everything in perfect working order. Quiet and exceptional service by all employees. We make it a point to always stay here after trying several hotels in Tucumcari and Santa Rosa. This one is far superior and we tried at least six prior to finding this gem! We've stayed there a number of year's now and are extremely impressed with the constant upgrades to carpet, bedding, etc. .

This is a clean and modern hotel. It has easy parking right outside your room. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We had two sinks in our room. It was a tub/shower combo with good water pressure and nice towels. We will definitely stay here again. The hotel clerks were very nice.

We stopped here with our two dogs after a long day of driving. We were so pleasantly surprised at how nice the rooms were! Comfortable beds and very clean. We were able to park right in front of our room which made things even easier for us. We grabbed dinner down the road at Chicos, which was great. They had a good breakfast at the hotel, too!

Amenities were comparable, Rooms were nice. The overall price not bad. The breakfast was not very good and had ingredients that gave me a migraine. The area was not bad and had some nice scenery. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Hotel is conveniently located off the highway. It's one level hotel. You park right out your front door of your room. Rooms have been updated. Very clean hotel. Really like the double sinks in room. Got a great nights sleep. Easy check in check out.

Over time, we've grudgingly stayed at several different hotels in Santa Rosa. They were good at best. Some were downright awful. Traveling cross country with a pet, you sometimes can't stay where you'd prefer. However, that's not the case in Santa Rosa anymore. The pet friendly rooms at this motel were clean, quiet and well furnished to accommodate both pet and humans in comfort. We've been leery in the past of motels where you park in front of your room with direct room access to the outside. But we felt safe and comfortable at this location. The room was quiet, the bed comfortable, bonus points for have an extra sink/vanity outside the bathroom making it easy for two people to get ready simultaneously. The rooms have all been updated and had every amenity we required, including refrigerator and microwave. Staff was professional and accommodating. The breakfast was very good with hot and cold choices, pastries and good coffee. Seating area is tight so if you're social distancing eat before 7:00 am or take food back to your room. But overall this place wins the prize. Pride of ownership shows at this family run hotel. Forget the soulless chains nearby and choose the Best Western Santa Rosa. We will definitely be repeat customers.

This hotel you park in front of your room. It looked like it was just built. The rooms remodeled to a high standard. It was very clean, quiet, not having hallways you don't get noise or the sound of flushing toilets and people coming in at all hours slamming doors. All staff very attentive to our stay, Breakfast had great selection. These owners are proud of their hotel.

This is an older, drive-up-to-your-room property. Despite its age, it seems to be fairly well maintained. The front desk staff was welcoming and friendly. Our room was in good condition with the exception of some minor cosmetic issues in the bathroom. The room appeared to be clean with the exception of the tile floor. Although the floor appeared to be clean, my white socks were black on the bottoms after walking around the room. The bed was comfortable. We didn't partake in the included breakfast but the coffee was hot and fresh. Check-in and check-out processes were uncomplicated. We will probably stay here again as an overnight stop during our travels but, next time, I'll wear my shoes when in the room.

We had a very positive experience. Room was clean and comfortable, staff was polite, breakfast was great. To top it off, my son left a stuffed animal in the room, and the hotel mailed it back to us. We appreciated this above-and-beyond level of service!

We are an older couple and did enjoy the front door entrance to our room. It was clean and spacious, and plenty of room to navigate with luggage. A continental breakfast was offered, and the staff was very pleasant. While everything was clean, my husband had an allergic reaction to the bedsheets and we had to leave very early in the morning. They really smelled 'perfumey' as he described it.

The pet rooms are convenient to an excellent pet area; very smart placement of places to empty your car of trash (when you are traveling, the trash piles up quickly). When I travel with my pet, I always look for hotels with doors that face the outside for easy in and out for potty breaks and we prefer rooms without carpet for easy cleanup of accidents. This hotel is a great place to stop when you are traveling through or even if you are staying for a while in the little town of Santa Rosa.

The hotel was a true MOTEL, meaning you can pull up to your room and the room has an outdoor entrance. I like that. We backed up to our room and unloaded right into the room. Very nice. The reason I am not giving straight 10's is the price was too high. It really was much higher than I have seen anywhere for a town this size. For that reason alone, I would plan my day to bypass this area for my nightly stop in the future.

I had a very clean room and I am picky, everything in the room worked, staff was nice and helpful, they had a great breakfast selection and it was fresh and tasty! I would definitely stay again in the future!

We stopped at this little hotel in our way to Albuquerque. It's a modest “motel” style but don't let that discourage you. It was extremely clean and the bed and pillows were so comfortable I almost bought the pillows.

This older Best Western is an excellent choice for the road traveler. One parks near one's room. There are no stairs to climb. The motel is clean, well-managed, and the rooms show good maintenance. We had a room near the rear that was quiet, and we slept soundly. The free breakfast was equal to, or better than, the higher priced chains. Highly recommended.

For being in the middle of nowhere in an older motel style building, it was pricey but...it was very nicely updated, very very clean. Breakfast was nice. Linens new, towels fluffy. Folks at front office very nice and helpful. Ample parking even for towing

Santa Rosa is a small town. This property shines. A great stop without having big city traffic issues. Clean, roomy, parking near your room with a decent breakfast to boot. The lack of street noise makes sleeping very restful.

I have stayed here at least 10 times on my annual trip from MI to AZ. It is costlier than other BW that I use but maybe that's what it takes to be the best. It is the best BW I have ever stayed in. It is managed with pride. The rooms are as clean as can be. The desk staff is courteous and friendly. The breakfast is hot, prepared wonderfully, tastes great, and on time. Good accommodations for dogs, Clean dog areas with waste bags provided. Wife and I look forward to staying there every year.

Clean and convenient hotel with good hotel grab and go breakfast even with COVID. Nearby some stores, gas stations, and about 8 min from Blue Hole and the water park in Santa Rosa. Pool was not open due to COVID but hopefully will be open in the future.

This is right off the highway. It's obvious that the staff is always trying their best. Grounds are kept clean. Pool are is very nice with chairs and towels. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast manager did her best to make sure the area was clean and supplied. Front desk staff friendly and efficient. Nice older motel

I selected this motel based on it's location and distance from my home (last day of my trip). I was a little displeased that the price was the highest cost of all of my nights on the road, but the motel was in fine shape and I appreciated the motor lodge set-up with parking right in front of my room. The hotel was in very good condition, and the room was as updated as any I've enjoyed from Best Western. I want to draw attention to the dual sinks in the room - one in the shower room and the other in the closet area (great if you are traveling with a spouse or companion). The TV choices were substantial, and all of the lamps had charging options. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the room was very clean. The staff were friendly both at check-in and check-out, and were available during breakfast. The hot meal was good, although the eggs were not the best I've had from Best Western. Packing to leave was a snap, and I was on I-40 3 minutes after closing the door. I would recommend this motel, especially if you can get a good price for it.

Very clean, great staff, conveniently located off I40. Room decor is very pleasing. Issue with both internet and room phone not working but the woman working at front desk worked hard, but unsuccessfully to fix internet. I was offered a discount at checkout as compensation for these issues which I felt was fair. I was able to use internet in the lobby to check my mail, etc.

We travel through here quite often and have stayed at. Last of the hotels. BW is the absolute best. Clean. Outstanding staff. Comfortable. One level so you can drive to the room. The amenities are excellent. This is simply a very good place to spend the night

We are loyalty members with Best Western, and have stayed in MANY, and this one was one of the best ever. It has been beautifully updated, including 2 separate sink areas, lots of counter space, a higher toilet, nice lounge area, and super attractive, comfortable beds. We will stay here anytime we're in the area and need a room!

This is an old school motel single story, park right outside your room, as were very common many years ago. This motel, unlike many others, as been completely overhauled with beds, floors, and bathroom facilities and counters. It was very comfortable and clean.

This is a perfect place to stay when traveling east. Reminded me of what a true Route 66 Motel should be like. The Room was Large extremely clean and quiet. We were in a Pet friendly room as we were traveling with our 2 small dogs. The pet "potty" area for our dogs was top notch. Astro turf, not just a field of burr grass or rock, that looked like it was cleaned daily. Since I visit my daughter in Tennessee every 6 months this will be a frequent stop. Staff was exceptional.

Great hotel. Clean. Comfortable bed! Arrived late on a long road trip from Arizona to Oklahoma. Nice large room. Will stay again. Reminded me of motels of my youth! Loved the parking right outside our door. Felts very safe. Easy to access off of I-40.

This is my second time at this hotel. Overall the outside appearance is very nice. The landscaping and property is well kept. In fact i had reservations at a different hotel, but did not like the overall look of it. So I drove around and forgot that I stayed here before. I was able to check in early. I forgot I was in another time zone. The pet friendly room I had was very clean and appeasing. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I went to the pool and an automatic electric pool cleaner was in the pool. I did not feel comfortable going in the pool with an electric device in the pool. I advised the front desk about this. Within 10 minutes they removed the cleaner from the pool for me. Overall I thought the price of the room including pet charges were a little high, but I would stay here again.

Only in town for one night - hotel was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and roomy for two people. Breakfast was nice considering all the Covid restrictions these days. Very convenient to be able to park the car directly outside the room.

We were blown away by the incredible customer service! Tiffany, the general manager was working when my mom needed emergency help! She called 911 and assisted with the situation from helping our dog not run out as emergency personnel were coming in, to bringing us towels and anything we needed. I truly felt that she cared for my mom. She went above and beyond to ensure that we were okay. I would recommend this to anyone traveling to Cortez! Thank you! Christine

Trying to make way to Albuquerque NM, needed a late night reservation, and they were able to accommodate me. Traveling with dog, and always concerned with the condition of the party friendly rooms. This one was clean, sassy access to pet designated area. Single level hotel with parking right infringe of the room. Easy in, easy out. Would recommend and would stay again.

We always stay at Hampton Inns, but the one in Santa Rosa was full. We have not stayed in many Best Westerns because, in our experience, they haven't had consistent quality. This Best Western was outstanding: immaculate and comfortable bedding, incredibly clean and sanitary bathroom, parking right outside our unit. We would stay here again.

At the end of our 14 day road trip we stayed at the Santa Rosa New Mexico Best Western. Without a doubt the cleanest and best managed property of our entire stay. This is the place to stay in Santa Rosa New Mexico and I would suspect anywhere along I-40 if you can get to this place in your trip. I rarely tip but I provided a generous one for the housekeeping staff. They dusted behind the TV. As we emerge from covid lockdown this property is a model for how to provide outstanding service to their customers. Greatest value on our trip!

We shy away from these types of motels because even when they've been 'renovated' they are cheaply done. This one is the exception. Great upgrades meaning lots of plugs for technology, wonderful bedding and linens, bright lights where you want them nice tile, paint and electric outlets (I hate gross outlets!), etc. Friendly staff and extremly clean parking lot. Nice hot full breakfast prepared in to-go boxes, too. I wish we could find more motels like this one and I'd skip the drudgery of hauling my luggage into elevators! Obviously loved this place!

Sits across from a Flying J. Makes it easy to park any large vehicle and get a good nights rest. The hotel sits far enough away from the interstate and is orientated back away from the main roadway that you don't hear either. The rooms are comfortable so it makes for a good nights rest.

Really a great set up for traveling with our dog. The pet friendly rooms are only certain designated ones but that gave us laminate flooring instead of carpet. It was a singe story and we parked right outside the door so it was easy to load and unload. The room was clean and in good shape. The water pressure and hot water was really good. The towels were just a bit thicker and a bit bigger than some of the hotel towels so that was welcome. Front desk people were friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast was served in to go containers dishes up by staff. It was so so eggs, potatoes, and bacon, better than we were expecting. We would stay here again.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise! It's a bit older hotel, BUT! It's all been updated & the room is lovely! Yes, doors are outside, but we felt very safe. Normally don't stay in hotels that have “outside” doors. The front desk personnel was so nice & accommodating. If we come thru this way again, we would stay here.

Our travel agent recommended this property as a one night stop on out Rte 66 adventure. Our room was well back from the highway, The decor was a bit above average with nice wall hangings, We particularly enjoyed having the bathroom and an additional vanity with sink and mirror. The room was clean, bright and well laid out. A grab and go hot breakfast was available. There was also a washer and dryer available for a fee.

This is our second stay here and if you're traveling with a dog like we do it can't be beat. The cleanest hotel that we have stayed at in our 2 week trip. The grab and go breakfast was very well done.

If you are in the mood for a redone, outstanding motel, GO HERE. As a kid we stayed in motels as we did the family seeing the National Parks trips. This motel is like that, but perfectly redone. The air conditioner works and does not rattle. The beds are perfect. The carpet new! The rooms are spotless. Don't go for the standard chain hotel! The staff is great. Enjoy the Route 66 feel and an outstanding enjoyable experience.

This hotel has excellent pet facilities and pet rooms with no carpet, tile floors that are always sparking clean as well as the rest of the room. The pet potty areas have artificial turn or gravel. Always well kept. Been staying there for years on our annual trip east

We were driving to Arizona from Kansas City and this was a good choice for about as far as I can go for a day. We arrived and the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Our room looked brand new and was nicely furnished. The bathroom was spacious and the room was very comfortable.

This is a nice place to stay with lots of room for dogs. We did not take the grab and go breakfast. They have placed a non slip surface on the bathtub which is uncomfortable to sit on to take a bath. (Watch out for this if you have young kids.) Beds and pillows are comfortable and the bathroom area has two sinks!

We travel from the midwest to Phoenix and Tucson at least once a year so this is a regular stop. The motel is by no means new, but it is well kept and well run. Rooms are clean and comfortable The old motel style "park in front of your room" is great. It's so easy to unload the car this way. Santa Rosa is not really a travel destination, but there are a couple of good restaurants and you must check out "The Blue Hole". Very unusual.

During my cross-country drive from coast to coast, I thought I'd stay in all the big, well-known cities on the map. As we drove, we realized that we would have to adapt to the hours and stay in some cities we'd never heard of. As Best Western rewards members, we looked to the New Mexico AAA tour books and found this delightful BW in Santa Rosa. It was one of the best on-the-fly decisions we made because the stay was wonderful. We checked in late, but were greeted with an efficient and friendly check-in. We love that we were able to park our car right in front of our hotel room, making those “oh I forgot...” trips a quick dart back and forth. The breakfast was hot and delicious the next morning, the coffee superb. The staff was friendly, personable, and willing to snap a few pictures even when performing other tasks. It was our first time in New Mexico. Even though we didn't spend much time there, our experience at the Santa Rosa Inn makes us want to go back.

We have stayed here on our for as long as I can remember, it is our must stop for an overnight while traveling west. I love the down and out style, park right in front of your door! clean rooms and comfortable beds.

This hotel is half way between our house an my wife's parents. We stay here every trip without fail Service is always great and the rooms and common areas are always clean. We would recommend this hotel to anyone needing a good place to stay.

I was told to move my vehicle due it being trailer parking area. However the manager and desk clerk were parked in those same spaces. Which they did not move their vehicles. So much for being treated like a guest!!

This property although a bit on the pricier side for a Best Western is a great place to stay after driving on I-40. The room and the property were very clean and you can tell the owner really puts TLC into this motel. Our stay was quiet and the beds were comfortable. The only thing that I didn't like is that all guests were placed next to each other. Why not space the guests out a bit, especially with Covid protocols? Other than that, it was in a quiet location, but right off I-40. Make sure to to stop at Chico's down the street for fantastic fajitas! The reviews are spot on and there is a drive through. It was definitely a great spot to stop for dinner after being on the road all day.

Traveling cross county and stopped in Santa Rose, NM after 14 hrs. of driving. Had reservations at one hotel but they didn't have hot water. (Still accepting guests if u wanted a cold shower. Don't know how they could during COVID!) Went across the street to Best Western. More money but at this point, all we wanted was a hot shower and clean room to sleep for a couple of hours. The front desk clerk was very nice and the room was clean. However, when I woke up in the morning, I had bug bites. I am very allergic to any bug bite but by the red welts, recognized them as flea not bed bites. My husband, on the other hand, does not get affected at all by bug bites or poison ivy like I do. He did not have one but I had at least 5, one on my right upper bicep, 2 on my left arm near my armpit and one on my left eyelid which was swollen. I tried to alert the mgt. so they could spray but the front door was locked at 6:10 a.m. when we hit the road again. I did leave a small tip w/a note on the housekeeping env. The room was clean but fleas need to be bombed. I know people love to travel w/animals but they need dedicated rooms just for pets or they need to spray every time a guest stays overnight w/a pet to prevent the next guest from getting bit! This is not just this hotel but all hotels that allow pets.

Very nice, clean room. Hot breakfast with several choices was a plus, tasted good and hot. The staff was friendly and helpful. One of the nicest Best Western I have stayed at and would recommend highly.

The BW at Santa Rosa was very well maintained and the room was clean. The desk personnel were very polite, efficient, and knowledgeable. The to go Breakfast was well prepared and our wait was less than 5 minutes to get a hot breakfast.

VERY nice staff, easy access to room ,very spacious room. Hotel was easy to find and we parked right in front of our room. The room was large with a very comfortable bed, a large TV , easy internet access and a large and clean bathroom area.

They have a new owner apparently. My husband and I have stayed here for 15 years and always loved it He was treated very rudely last night because he asked for a different room ( the TV didn't work) He's just had radiation treatments and has trouble sleeping. The woman was terrible. Will never stay there again

Very clean, appears to have been recently renovated. Only complaint was couldn't connect to the internet. Signal was there but got no log in screen. Front office offered to assist but I was going to bed. Also got no TV signal. May have been the cable provider

We had to make a cross country trip with our big dog (lab/shepherd) to Arizona after selling our house in NY, and stayed in Best Western pet friendly rooms each night of our 4 day drive. While all of the Best Westerns offered great pet friendly accommodations, our room at the BW Santa Rosa was the most convenient, with all rooms facing a protected parking lot (off the main road) with individual direct entries. Loading and unloading was simple and it was comforting to have our car right outside the room where we could keep an eye on things or step out and grab something as needed. The pet area was directly adjacent to the room making it very easy to step out with the dog. Our double queen room was more spacious than most with a second lavatory outside of the bath area which seems to be rare these days in this price range. All of the traditional amenities (flat screen TV, internet, microwave, fridge) were in perfect working order, and the beds were very comfortable. The flooring was a combination of new ceramic and vinyl tile which works better than carpeting where pets are involved, except that your dog would probably appreciate a travel bed to sleep on. We did have a crate pad for traveling and he was happy with that. We would not hesitate to stay at the Santa Rosa Best Western again.

This is an old-style drive-up "motel" which surprised us as we pulled in to the parking lot. It brought me back decades and we were really pleased with the set-up. The rooms are newly remodeled, very clean, with everything you could need. Just 1/4 mile away is the Silver Moon Cafe, an original cafe from 1959 right on HIstoric Route 66. Real good food even though we had to get it as take-out due to Covid restrictions. Very pleased with our night in Santa Rosa, NM!!

Here we are during a state wide lock down for Covid. I wasn't sure just what I might find or what to expect. Lucky, I was able to get a room here. Very nice staff at the front desk, informed me of all the current rules, about the to go breakfast the next morning and local eateries. My room was very clean and very up to date. It was quite and very comfortable. I left before I was able to partake of their version of the grab and go breakfast, but it sounded good. Much more than the standard, apple, water, and hard breakfast bar some hotels have offered... my only thought, was it seemed priced a bit high. However, in checking, the hotels in the area were all within that range.... Yea, Covid? I would stay here again...

I was shockingly awoken at 2:00am by a scorpion stinging my thumb and inner thigh. I was unable to sleep after that and would highly recommend this hotel get proper extermination. Luckily I am in good health and didn't need to go to a hospital, but I fear for future guests in this situation.

I haven't stayed at the best Western in years and was pleasantly surprised with this experience. We were warmly greeted at check in, the room was clean very comfortable and met all of our needs including microwave, refrigerator, comfortable beds, and very clean bathroom. We needed an overnight stay that was safe in this somewhat rural area; an overnight stop on a 20 drive. We felt very safe.

This room smelled so disgusting and my allergies went crazy. Two days later and my eyes are still swollen. We opened the window but it was so loud with truck traffic. We were so tired as we were evacuating due to a forest fire so we stayed.

This is the best "pet friendly" hotel where we have ever stayed. Clean, comfortable, convenient, well managed....absolutely cannot be beat for the value and accomodations. Covid 19 mandates were in place and enforced, very comfortable and secure.

What a difference! This room is so much better than the room last night (different city). There is no carpet. This is nice from the pet-friendly viewpoint because we didn't have to worry about water spots and food bits (anything worse has not happened, yay). The room is much bigger for almost the same money. There were nice pet areas at the end of the parking lot with fake grass patches and bags. There were plenty of pillows and towels. The room temperature was easy to control. We had an excellent stay and slept very well. The pandemic has many breakfast areas closed. The "grab and go" breakfast included a bottle of water, apple, two breakfast bars and a package of peanut butter cheese crackers. Plenty of food. There was hot coffee available. The room was immaculately clean and front desk personnel were excellent. I was able to reserve a pet-friendly room specifically online. I wish I could do that for all hotel reservations. Keep up the good work!

I was traveling from Austin to Seattle with my college ('72) roommate and her dog. Obviously, we had to find a dog friendly hotel. What a great find for us - very clean, comfortable room, adequate breakfast and very friendly staff.

Stayed for 2 nights over the Labor day 2020 weekend. Staff is pleasant and responsive. Check in and out was swift. internet is lightning fast close to 1GB down and up over WiFi. Direct TV in the room with HBO. Booked a room with 2 queen beds, firm yet soft, i prefer sleeping on a firm bed and this provided a great nights sleep. Yes there is a truck stop across the street and maybe a few times will hear a truck horn but honestly is not that loud. For the price i paid for 2 nights that comes with a great wifi connection and channel selection, I will definitely stay here again.

Stayed one night and would recommend this hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful at check in, convenient location. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Paid for the king room and worth the extra money. Nice bed and sofa. Had two rooms and both the same. Coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave.

Stay away. Noisy truck stop across the street. Sex workers in room next door. Noisy for both reasons. Felt unsafe like a cheap motel but it cost $100 a night. Room was clean at least and the staff were efficient and friendly.

Hotel is easy to get to from interstate. Room was very clean, with nice sized very comfortable beds. Reasonably priced. The tile planked floor is cleaner and preferable to carpet. Area is quiet. Our dog stayed with us with only a $10 fee. Highly recommend.

The size and the cleanliness of this room was exceptional. The staff was amazing and it's a quick on and off the freeway. Great restaurants within waling distance. I would differently stay at this Best Western again.

We stayed here with our 2 dogs. The pet-friendly rooms were clean, well-maintained, close to the pet walking area that had poop bags available. Grab & go breakfasts were all that were available, came with water, granola bar, cereal bar, fruit. We had a large Penske truck with us, and there was a spot onsite to park it. We would stay here again. Also, it's right off the I40-and right across the street from a truck stop for convenient fuel up and hot breakfast if needed.

If you are going to stay in Santa Rosa check out the Best Western. We stayed one night in July 28 2020.. When I opened the door the room smelled So Good. It was Very clean. The entire room was very nice. It has all the amenities. I will definitely stay there again.

Very clean rooms took extra care with the rooms due to Covid. Friendly staff quick check in and out. bag take away breakfast due to covid very good coffee and juice 24/7. Internet and frig in room. lots of pillows. Not much in Santa Rosa as far as food only down fall.

Stopped here on our way back home. Read some reviews and they were all good so decided to stop for the night. It is an old school single story hotel not far off the highway. I stayed at this best western the week it opened. It was a beautiful property with really nice room. The place has obviously been revitalized some 20+ years later and is as nice or nicer than it was when it was new. Kind of like a return to home.

We stayed here a few years ago with a good experience on our travels. It's a very good option if you are traveling with a dog. Staff is super friendly, very clean rooms, and they have a clean fake grass area for your pups. Breakfast was a to go bag when you check in due to COVID. Plenty of parking for trailers as well. Will stay here again when traveling through.

One of the cleanest and most comfortable places we've stayed in our travels. Super comfy bed and pillows. We usually dont stay at outdoor entry drive up and park motels but this was fantastic. No weird smells or mystery stains or yuckiness at all. Truly. Everything was pristine. Would totally stay here again when coming through.

My husband and I travel with our cat, therefore we require a pet friendly room. We absolutely love the room set up. Laminate/hardwood floors, 2 chairs to sit in while enjoying a little TV - and the best part was the configuration of the bathroom area. One room had the shower, toilet and great counter space with a sink and door. Outside was a huge countertop and sink so that we could both get ready at the same time and get back on the road in a timely fashion for our return to NWI. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT FROM BEGINNING TO END!

We Love this place. It is one of the cleanest places that we have ever stayed. The beds and pillows are super comfy. There is a delicious breakfast buffet for you in the morning. Staff is very accommodating. I would definitely recommend!

We discovered this wonderful property several years ago and really look forward to staying here in our travels between MN and AZ. We were very impressed by the friendly and helpful employees, the professionally upgraded and spotlessly clean rooms, comfortable bedding, very complete breakfast, and the management and staff's sincere appreciation for our business. We have recommended this property to numerous other travelers and those that stopped have enjoyed the same outstanding service we always do. We are confident our health and safety are their highest priority. We will be staying there in May.

Everything was great and as there is no breakfast in the morning they have Grab & Go bags which is good. Front Desk staff was so friendly and they also offer coffee,juice and yogurt in the morning as they have Grab and Go bags.

We have been staying at this location for a decade. Due to the current health situation, we had to alter our reservations on two separate occasions. They graciously made the changes without any cost to us. That alone speaks volumes as to how they treat their guests. Our upgraded room (since our last stay) was spotless and this stay confirmed our commitment to continue to utilize this BW establishment. Thank you Harry!

We like to stop here at least twice a year to stay for a night going and coming back from our winter home in AZ. This stop offers good service and a clean room as well as good internet service. They have a good breakfast as well as laundry facilities and free ice. Easy access to the room is ideal for travellers who can drive their vehicle right up to the door of their room. They also have pool facilities outside during the summer months.

We stayed at the Best Western, Santa Rosa, NM for one night en route from Arizona to Texas. While the hotel is older, it is has been updated and well maintained. The hotel is the older-style with exterior doors to the rooms opening to the parking lot. No internal corridor. This could be a potential safety issue for some travellers. Our room had been remodelled with new bathroom vanity and wood, or fake wood, flooring. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The property is pet friendly, with several spots with artificial grass to walk your dog. There are dog waste bags readily available. Breakfast was served in the small lobby area in the office. It was adequate, but nothing special. Bacon must have been heated in a microwave, as it was limp, not crisp. On the whole a good choice for travellers, especially if you need a pet-friendly room.

We stayed one night at this Inn and it far exceeded our expectations. We entered our room with king bed and were so impressed at how clean it was. We had a great sleep as the room was quiet and comfortable. The morning breakfast area was again very clean and organized. The selections were great. I must say that we booked the remainder of our return trip hotel stays at BW's due to our comfortable stay at this Best Western Inn.

Although the property is smaller it had every amenity that larger hotels have. The staff was courteous and professional. The room was clean and comfortable. I would gladly stay there again if in the area.

After a long 575mile drive we were ready for a good night's sleep. We were able to get the last pet-friendly room and it worked out purrfect. It was located on the back of the hotel with plenty of parking for a large moving van. The room was comfortable and quiet, which is all we wanted. So BW we thank-you. The staff was very helpful and friendly making the stay all that best.

Had a great stay. Motel appears to have been remodeled recently while keeping the old school appeal. Liked being able to park right outside my room. The room itself was great. Bed was comfortable. Never heard a sound from outside all night. Breakfast was great too.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Motel was clean and updated very nicely. Security maintained 24/7 and well lit. 1 story motels are not for everyone but I really like being able to pull the vehicle up to the room for unloading and loading - very convenient.

We were surprised as the place is individual rooms like a motel. She said they wanted to keep the Route 66 feel to it. Very pleasantly surprised. Newly remodeled, beautifully done. Ver comfortable bed, clean, organized, nice people, great place to stay.

We just left after our third stay while on a long road trip. The rooms are extremely quiet, clean, well-maintained, and smell clean. Shower is updated, good water pressure, good quality towels and bedding, heat/cool unit is quiet and newer. The facility has a nice designated pet exercise area with bags. This is our favorite pet-friendly stop along our route, and we always look forward to it for a good night's sleep.

Clean, well appointed, modern room. Much better then the other rooms we have stayed in Santa Rosa. Excellent management and staff. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices. After checking out I was called by management and notified that I had left an item. The item is held in safe for my return. I am most grateful.

this hotel has been renovated and is very comfortable. the room however was not clean with dirty towel in bathroom. dirty floor in bathroom. carpet was not vacuumed and staff said they would talk with the cleanjng crew - no compensation - us the most expensive Best Western I've ever stayed at, never again...

I travel through Santa Rosa about every two years and this is the place I stop at after 700 miles on the road each way. close to the freeway for exit and return. Several Mexican restaurants close by. Enjoy

We'd been driving for nine hours and were hoping to find a Best Western Inn soon. And, there was the beautiful one in Santa Rosa, NM. We checked in with ease and learned the owner takes the stunning photographs in all the rooms. They are amazing!!! The room was large, clean, WIFI worked well which is a ways a must, and it was a different room layout which we really enjoyed. Breakfast was great and we were on our way. Happy and well rested.

Very friendly staff, clean rooms, modern looking furniture, good variety breakfast, well kept grounds, ample parking. I did research of where to stop for the night on our road trip (other possibilities were either Clayton (NM) or Dalhart (TX). The hotels in Santa Rosa were a lot better rated, Nest Western in particular. 5 stars (considering the category).

Well maintained and spotless inside and out. Updated rooms and comfy bed. Breakfast is good. Staff was attentive & friendly. Dogs are welcome. This was our 3rd stay at this motel and we'll be back next month!

Clean and attended property .Great staff , kind, helpful, smiling, attentive. Good breakfast, combination for all, well organized also. Built like a modern motor inn, great for a route 66 stay it was in a easy on easy off area. Outside was clean, simply decorated. The pool was covered and ready for winter, the care on the property is seen. Thank you for a non issue stay

We did enjoy the stay. The room was very neat, the water was hot and the beds were very comfortable. The floors in our room were ceramic tile, not funky carpet. The fixtures had USB outlets for charging.

The motel was very nice and the front desk staff were very pleasant. We were on a free night stay and had our confirmation from the reservation office but they did not send me our points voucher needed for the free night. The manager called them and they faxed the info needed to him. It took 2-3 calls but he kept on them until it was resolved. Nice job Mr. Patel.

Nice location off highway. Very pleasant staff. Driving a moving truck and needed a place to stay for the night. Chose this location in the town of Santa Rosa New Mexico. Liked that it was single story and had ample parking for moving truck.

The BW Santa Rosa Inn is a great place to stay. We travel between Minnesota & Arizona twice a year and we always make a point of stay here on our way. The place has nice large rooms that are nicely furnished and are always immaculatly clean. The maintenance at this place is outstanding. The rooms are also easily accessible as you park righ in front of you room. The breakfast is well done and complete. The people that run this place, and work here, are always very personable and friendly. To us this is the best motel, and best value, on our trip across half the country.

A very well cared for hotel. Nice interested reception. The hotel has been remodeled since my last stay. Looks very modern and is very comfortable. A nice price as well.The breakfast was nice, fresh and plentiful. All most travelers could want. The room was smoke free and comfortable.

A wonderful couple running a clean, neat and comfortable establishment. A well run motel by caring people. The room (accessible) had plenty of room to maneuver a wheel chair. A large bathroom and sink/counter as well. Not a redo of an old standard bath. It's a one story property. No stairs no elevators. Drive right up to your room. Reminds me of the historic Route 66 Motor Motels of years past. This one however, is new. There are some non fast food restaurants not far down the road.

Rooms have been completely remodeled and are gorgeous. Everything in the room appeared to be new. The refrigerator was a larger size than i have ever seen. It was very refreshing to see an owner put money back into his property instead of just taking it out. Hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend staying at this Best Western.

The Best Western Santa Rosa is an awesome place to stay. The fact you can drive right up to door is so big of positive for me. I like not having to carry stuff through a lobby and up elevators. Nat and Judy Patel are great folks to work with. Alway attententive and courteous. Will stay here always!!

This Best Western offers great service, great rooms, great beds and free breakfast. What else can you ask for? We were a late arrival and booked the room while on the road with no issues. We were welcomed immediate when we entered the lobby. I will stay here again.

I was in a newly remodled room (114). Very clean. Still smelled "new" - new carpet, furniture, etc. Very spacious room with TWO sinks with tons of counter space. Great water pressure, sinks are low for kids too, tons of outlets for all your "technology items". Annies Restaurant connects to the parking lot behind the lobby. We had excellent food and service there too.

Our room was clean, updated, spacious and comfortable - a welcome relief after driving 13 hours and the last three in the rain. Luz at the front desk was friendly, efficient and on the ball in setting our reservation and getting us quickly checked in.

Super Clean inside and out, Updated rooms. No bleachy or bad smells you might run across at other hotels. Great RT. 66 feel. This is the 2nd time staying here traveling through New Mexico And will stay here again in the future if possible. Highly Reccomend!

We have stayed here twice on our trip from Missouri to Arizona and back. Always friendly, clean and comfortable. Best Western Motels have all (that we have visited in last two years) updated and upgraded. They are quality motels.

The beds were very comfortable and the pillows were soft. They have a great area for your pet to do there business. Lots of parking and spaces for tow trailer. Laundry room to wash and dry your clothes.

Our group of five seniors loved this motel on Oct 11, 2019 during our 1,500 mile New Mexico road trip. We were able to back up and park our van right in front our adjacent rooms and unload (and load) directly through our room doors. VERY Convenient! No hotel luggage carts necessary. Although this motel style building maybe from a bygone era, the rooms are fully updated and very comfortable. The staff is friendly and the complimentary breakfast is good. The motel is clean throughout. Stay here and you will enjoy a touch of motor inn nostalgia while having all the comfort of a modern hotel

The BEST hotel in Santa Rosa, New Mexico. Our stay was extremely relaxing after a 12 hour drive. The inn keepers went out of their way to get us to our room on a late arrival time. Accommodations were and are top of the line.

By far one of the best properties visited on whole trip. Rooms were ultra modern, good local advice on where to eat. Very clean and new laundry facilities, and the morning breakfast was one of best experienced. Other guests were also friendly. Manager was very helpful in resigning up for BW Awards program and promotions which I plan to use for the remainder of the trip and into the future.

Convenient to town and highway . Nice clean rooms , quiet , great waffles and complete breakfast menu . Nice people at desk and in breakfast room . Lots of interesting things to do around area . Car museum , Billy the Kid museum about 40 minutes away .

We were traveling to our Az home from Wi and found this hotel to be very clean and comfortable. Right off the highway . With very friendly hosts. We would recommend it for sure. We ordered a pizza and they delivered it with ease.

This little gem of a motel is wonderful. The owners are personable, and they love return guests. Nice area for walking dogs, very pet friendly. All tile floors, comfortable beds, plenty of parking, even if you have a trailer. Breakfast is a vast spread, many choices all arranged very invitingly.

This hotel is one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in. Room was large, bed and pillows comfortable. Everything in the room was clean. Very quiet. Towels were thick. Parking is outside room. Breakfast was good with a variety of food to suit most people. I would highly recommend this hotel.

If Santa Rosa works for you as a stop-off point on Route 40, then this is a great option. An older-style motel layout, upgraded to Best Western standards with amply sized rooms and fridge/microwave. There's a very useful dog walking area too. Staff are super friendly and room was clean and quiet. There's not too much else in Santa Rosa, although there's a McDonalds and a few diners.

This place is well taken care of and you can see the pride of ownership. what i really appreciate is that the manager/owner inspects EACH room after cleaning. He won't rent out a room if it doesn't meet his standards. Plus the entire staff is so friendly and always smiling.

Recently upgraded, this place is clean, very comfortable beds, friendly staff. Every thing you need provided. Pet friendly and a wonderful breakfast. I loved that I could park in front of my room. Nice people stay here too with their wonderful pups.

Front desk person was very helpful with positioning us in a quiet room and recommending dinner location. The room itself was spotless and had everything needed - micro, fridge, etc. The exterior looks old-time, but the interior is very modern - what a great combination for route 66!

We recently returned from a 3 week road trip where we stayed at 12 different hotels and this is one hotel that stood out from all the others. In a sense it is old fashioned in that it is a one story place with parking right outside the door but the old fashioned part stops there. The rooms inside are all updated and very spacious. We stayed here twice, once on the way to our final destination and once on our way back home. The first time we had a large room with one bed. a desk and a sofa . There was a large full bath with a second sink and large counter outside in the very large dressing area.The second time we had two beds with two easy chairs, a desk and the same bath and dressing area set up. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the rooms are quiet so we slept soundly both times. The shower was good with plenty of hot water and lots of fluffy towels. Everything was impeccably clean. Luz, who mans the front desk, was absolutely lovely, helpful and friendly. The landscaping was also very nice. The breakfast was plentiful with both hot and cold choices. My husband and I agreed that this is one place we will definitely come back to next time we pass through the area.

Don't travel through Santa Rosa often but when we do this is our go to place. Clean, quiet, comfortable. All we need. Has never let us down. Comfortable beds. Cable tv with lots of channels. Great shower.

It was a really nice room! The breakfast was great! There is a historic Route 66 museum, close by!! Several eateries also close to it!!! They have a outdoor pool, coffee was great. we stayed there. Trailers are welcome!

This clearly is not a destination point or a 5 star resort, but there really are not any to be found in Santa Rosa. What it is, is an extremely clean and comfortable place to stay for the night. The rooms are a bit dated, but immaculate. The bed was very comfortable, great TV reception, and lots of hot water. Breakfast is included, but a bit limited. After a long trek across Texas and Part of New Mexico, it was a very welcomed stopping point, and I would recommend it without hesitation.

Have stayed at this Inn twice. Both times the room was exceptionally clean. The bathroom was also very clean and everything appeared brand new. Since this Inn is one story we never have to listen to the people on the second floor. What you can depend on is a good nights sleep.

The outward appearance was nice. Very quiet and peaceful . the bed was nice and soft. Enjoyed the eggs with hatch chile, the staff was very helpful. Santa Rosa blue hole is also a good place to visit.

It's rather obvious from both the (huge) room size and layout of the rooms that this Best Western was built at least 20 years ago. All of the “first floor rooms” are that way because it's an old style motel, the kind of place that's no longer being built in most of the US. The big advantage: parking is just outside your room so it's easy to move stuff in and out. This old style motel has been modernized inside, with comfortable beds, comforters, and furnishings. The rooms are very spacious. Ours easily held 2 queen beds, 2 comfortable chairs and side table, desk, and dresser (with fridge and microwave). The bathroom area was also spacious, with one vanity and sink in the room area and another in the commode and tub/shower area. Countertops were granite and the floors had updated tile. The bathroom area was very clean...save for my pet peeve, darkened white grout. I'll never understand why colored grout isn't used in places like this. Toiletries are quite nice (Argan oil based). There was plenty of hot water and the shower worked well. Fixtures were top notch. A few minor inconveniences: the tub/shower floor got very slippery from soap. The toilet paper was a tough reach, as it was behind and inside the countertop, and the room coffee was, well, the usual brown water. Breakfast coffee wasn't much better, but there was French vanilla Coffeemate to help out. Speaking of breakfast, it wasn't much other than the usual middle of the road motel fare. Waffles, powdered scrambled eggs, cheap sausage, and limp bacon as the hot items...plus a variety of breads, juices, and yogurts. Some of the yogurts were actually full size and very good. The bottom line: we would definitely stay here again!

This was the best Best Western that we stayed at on our 2 week vacation and we stay pretty much at just Best Westerns. The place is very clean in appearance and it is just one level and you can park your car by your room. The rooms are nice sized and very clean. The bed is comfortable and good choice of pillows. The bathroom is great with a sink/mirror in the shower and toilet area and a 2nd sink and mirror outside the toilet and shower area, which we love. The owner is really nice and wants your stay to be great. The breakfast area is nice sized and the breakfast was great with all the normal choices, sausage, scrambled eggs and potatoes plus much more. Everything was kept hot and full. This was the best stay on our vacation and I would definitely stay here again.

Santa Rosa is not usually our regular stopping place, but it worked out that way on this trip. Based on a friend's recommendation we stayed at the Best Western. We had last stayed here about 20 years ago. We were impressed with the updates and remodels that have been done. Everything feels new and it may be the cleanest motel we have ever stayed at. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. If your trip has you needing a place to stay in Santa Rosa, this is the absolute best.

This hotel is one level and you can park right in front of your room. Our room was very clean and inviting. Someone named Bob was the housekeeper. Great job!!! The asphalting looks pretty new. In fact, it is very up to date with two separate sinks. One inside with toilet and another counter outside. Sure made it easier to get ready to leave in the morning. The breakfast was good. Lots of fruit choices. Check in and out were easy.

My wife made this reservation and we pulled into town and noticed several larger and newer hotels. I was a little disappointed and asked her why she didn't check into those. She said this place got good reviews. Now I know why. It was exceptionally clean, the bed was excellent, Air Cond worked well, all recently updated, two sinks, good shower, and most importantly the two people that were at the desk were adults who acted like they cared about the place and their customers. It is the first time in years I have been able to pull within 5 feet of the front door and unload my luggage. I've got to admit I like that. For the price paid I give it five stars.

Stopped by here for the night while traveling to Grand Canyon & decided to stay again on the way home. Nice, comfortable place. Especially liked the friendly young lady named Alicia that checked us in. She was very welcoming & suggested places for us to visit while we were in Santa Rosa.

This Best Western is very clean. High quality sheets on the bed. Lovely pool area with chairs and tables around the pool. Your car is right outside your door. Breakfast was very good. Locations is right on Route 66. A Route 66 car museum is close by. Everything is conveniently located.

Stayed at BW in Santa Rosa New Mexico. Nice off and on freeway. TV desires a little something more. Reason being that it would shut off or channel would turn in the middle of a movie other then that was a very nice place

Very large sized room. Very clean: even the TV remote came fresh wrapped. The breakfast was good with variety hot and cold items and healthy options. Good service at front desk and check-in was quick. Building in good shape and well maintained.

Rooms are fresh and clean. All new paint and flooring. Beds are super comfortable. I can't brag enough on the real home cooked breakfast! 24 hour coffee is an awesome 'perk'. The pool was crystal clear.

I'm not sure we've ever stayed in a better motel on the road! The Santa Rosa Best Western gets 5 stars for every category of its type. The beds are so good I would own one. A bed isn't good if the bedding is skimpy and tired but this bedding was lovely. The bathrooms are new and shiny clean with sinks in 2 different areas. The tv was large and had tons of cable channels. The decor was modern w a small sitting area and best of all the AC didn't cycle all night. Once we set the temp and fan speed it was a constant hum not that annoying on/off sound all night long. My favorite part is this is an old fashioned property that you can pull right up to your door and there are no 2nd floor rooms and steps. The grounds were pristine including the parking areas and they have an onsite room with washers and dryers for the guests. This motel really wasn't missing anything. Even the coffee was good!

My wife and I travel RT 66 from July 27 to Aug. 10 the stay at the Best Western Santa Rosa Inn was great. With all our luggage the convenience of a single story hotel was terrific. Great location and quite room

My husband and I needed a place to stay for a night on our travels. The motel is spotless clean and quiet. The staff were very hospitable. It has been very nicely remodeled - very fresh. The only improvement I would add would be to have softer sheets.

My husband and I stayed one night on our trip cross country with our dogs. The hotel is conveniently located off the freeway. It was clean, the potty area was near our room which was ground level which is very helpful when you're traveling with dogs. I would stay again.

I hope I get to stay here again. Everything was so comfortable and clean from such a long day of driving. The pool was a little untidy, but not too bad. Best Western has always been my favourite, and they've stepped up their game with their new refurbishment. Their pet friendly rooms are great too, though I didn't have them with me this time.

This is our favorite place to stop on our way to Santa Fe. Motel style; parking at your door. Breakfast is fresh; good selection of hot and cold choices. Cozy dining area; very friendly and accommodating staff. Rooms are recently remodeled; clean and comfortable. Entire grounds are well maintained; nice area provided to walk your dog.

I've stayed here twice. The staff is pleasant, and the rooms are clean. Breakfast is pretty good for the value. They have the waffle iron so we can enjoy fresh waffles. There are dairy milk alternatives for those who need it. Many drink options. I like how the food is not just pre packaged items.

If you like the old motel style where you park in front of your room this place may be for you. Everything seemed smaller than it could be to us. The lobby/breakfast room did not have enough space to accommodate our family of 5 while we were there. We gave up and got breakfast on the road. The rooms (2) were okay but for the price I paid I hoped for more. The pool was very dirty and not from a dust storm. The film and bugs on it looked like they had been there a while. Next time we will try to make it to Moriarty for a Best Western.

Very nice,small, clean motel. Easy access off of I-40. Love parking right in front of your room. Very good breakfast selection. sausage, eggs, potatoes, waffles, etc.. Beds were very comfortable. Room was spotless.

This was our 5th stay here. Each has found nicer and nicer room decor and furnishing, even more friendly competent and attentive staff. Pet support is superb with good finish in rooms, multiple outdoor pet areas.

Our rooms were clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic! Check in was efficient. We needed to borrow a wine bottle opener and they loaned us one. Desk staff were always friendly and helpful.

I am sure that this is an older hotel but it was clean, and fresh. Nice breakfast in the morning and the staff were great. Two sinks in the bedroom so that was convenient. The only thing wrong is that most of the restaurants in this town are not that good. Too bad because the hotel was nice.

We needed to stay in Santa Rosa to break up a trip. I have points at another hotel but a friend told me I had to stay there and I am glad I did. The rooms are newly remodeled with modern decor and soooooo clean.

We decided to stay here because of the reviews and we were not disappointed. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable, some of the best we have slept in while traveling. The hotel looks to have been recently renovated and the court yard, reception and pool area very clean and well cared for. We ate breakfast and the eggs, sausage and potatoes were delicious, not reconstituted like you find and most hotels that provide free breakfast. My kids enjoyed the waffles and fresh fruit. The staff kept the food hot and filled. They just need to remove the couch and chairs and put in more tables. Maybe even a few outside. We will stay here again the next time we pass through.

Our one overnight stay was a pleasant surprise. This hotel was clean, updated with fresh paint, rugs and furniture. After we checked in I noticed a lot across the street with large 18 wheelers entering and exiting and thought, oh no we'll hear the truckers coming and going all night...we did not!! The beds were very comfortable and linens were fresh smelling. Like I stated above...we were pleasantly surprised!!!

Santa Rosa Inn was such a cute little place. It was very clean, comfortable and charming. Staff was helpful and friendly. There are several places to eat close by, one just a short walk through the hotel property and up a few stairs.

This property is not set up line the typical Best Western. I looks like a motel - single story, spread out with parking in front of your room. BUT, once you get past the initial view, you can tell it is Best Western. The lobby was well appointed and the clerk greated us almost immediately. We got a room across the parking lot from the office. It was clearly updated and definately was NOT a motel. All the comfort and trimmings you expect from Best Western. There was a restaurant next door so you can walk to get a bite to eat. The morning breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, sausage, toasts, fruit, yogurt, waffles, juice and coffee. If you leave hungry, that's your fault. Don't let the first impression change your mind. It's along Route 66, off the freeway. Nice and quiet.

Like so many motels on the Mother Road, you can pull right up to your room. This property has kept up with the times and been remodeled and it's very clean. The staff are quite friendly, and the swimming pool is also clean and larger than most hotels' nowadays. The value of the money is excellent.

...was my wife's first impression, but there was no need to worry. This place lives up to its positive reviews by being completely updated with clean sizeable rooms, two sinks with expensive faucets (Grohe), even a little sleeve that says "fresh remote". Haven't seen that before but a nice thought. Check in was efficient, staff friendly, breakfast area small but worked well. It's nice that this is next door to a full service restaurant (with decent food though not overly attentive service likely because of inexperience). The outside pool was decent but not warm enough yet. We have stayed at a couple of the other hotels on this street (big claim to fame is "Historic Route 66") and we might have been able to save a few bucks, but this is one motel we will likely return to in the future.

This Best Western was very clean. They have accommodations for pets and areas to take them to supplying doggie bags. They offer a wide amount of food for breakfast. When you come in you are greeted with a smile and a hello

When you're traveling on I-40 in the grips of the high desert of New Mexico you don't have a lot of lodging options. We decided to stop for the night in Santa Rosa. We used our phone (when cell was available) to assess our options. Since we are members of the Best Western Loyalty Club and the one in Santa Rosa got very good reviews we called in the early PM of 07 Jun 2019. We spoke with Luz (yes, that's how her name was spelled.) who is the consumate professional. She answered our questions professionally and took our reservation for that evening. Later, we learned that she worked for this hotel for 14 years. When we arrived we learned that the hotel was full, but our reservation was good. We were given room 126-A; an end unit. We were able to back right up to the door and unload easily. The room was situated such that we had a view of the desert and the sunset (no extra charge). When we opened the door we were amazed at the scene before us. The room was very large, bright, stainless light fixtures, shiplap like wood headboards behind the commodious, comfortable beds, several new chairs and lots of flat surfaces to put our luggage on. There are many USB and power outlets, a large TV with a full menu of channels listed on a provided programming guide, night lites, a new alarm clock that actually works, a quiet, functional A/C unit, a large frig and microwave, a listing of the local businesses and services, new tiled floors, two large vanities; one with a sink inside the bathroom and one outside. Each has a full mirror with bright lights above them. Large showers with grab rails and excellent water pressure. Be careful however, the shower floors can be slippery. Modern decor throughout. The rooms were insulated quite well as we never heard any outside noise. The grounds were clean and landscaped. Did I mention the large outdoor pool? There were a number of extra large parking spaces for pickup trucks and their trailers. They aren't tractor trailer size however. The breakfast offering on our stay consisted of eggs, sausages, pancakes, pastries, coffee, juices etc. The seating area was a bit on the small size, but it was clean and fully stocked. The staff hustled to keep serving dishes full and tables clean. A big shout out to Raj and his family who were filling in for the owner while he was out of town. The family was gracious, engaging and just plain enjoyable to talk with. Our only issue was a noisy exhaust fan in the bathroom. It is pretty obvious that the owner put a lot of time, energy and $$$ into this RENO and it shows. We recommend that the owner take new photos of newly redecorated rooms. I don't think the ones on the web site do justice to what is actually there.

Passing through on vacation decided to stop in Santa Rosa overnight I looked at trip advisor for rating and looked at pictures. I decided not to stay because the pictures didn't look that great then my wife read the reviews. Found that this place was remodeled recently and clean per reviews so we decided to stay. Very nice rooms clean the king room had a couch which was nice. Comfortable clean room we will stay again on the way back through.

Right off I40, good hotel. Good size, clean rooms, comfortable bed. Room has all that is necessary including a coffee maker. Good morning hot breakfast, plenty to choose from. I would recommend if you are near Santa Rosa NM. and need a room. Good friendly people and staff.

In addition to having quiet rooms & a good hot breakfast spread, the entire facility was well-setup for pets: astro-turf, different grades of gravel & even had 'poop' bags available for owner clean-up (which were most appreciated!!) Excellent pet-welcoming location ---- very well done - highly recommended - We'll be back!! A+A+A+A+

This Best Western is a really good value. Clean, big rooms, on old route 66, easy on and off of I - 40. I thought the truck stop across the street would be a noise problem. No problem with noise, and we ordered a nice pizza from the truck stop.. The staff was very friendly.

Don't be fooled by the quaint motel style exterior! The rooms are beautifully remodeled. Quality furnishings, linens, and new double sink bathroom area. We are so glad we took the time to look inside! Helpful staff and pleasant breakfast in the lobby. We will definitely stay again!

This is a newly renovated, comfortable place to stay. We try to stay here every trip we take from CA to TX. I have not one complaint. Staff is friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and appealing. It's easy to get to, and we recommend checking it out.

Have stay here before as well as many other BW worldwide. Staff very friendly at check in and answers any questions. We travel with two dogs and always love the 4 areas for them. Rooms are always well appointed and very clean. I love the fact you can pull right up to room on one level. This place as stated has been a stopover for wife and I and will continue to stay. Good breakfast in morning with a cup of coffee to get you going on your next destination.

Booked here after reading the excellent reviews on Trip Advisor. Stayed with two friends in a two-queen-beds room. We were so pleased with it that we booked for another night on our return journey. The place is very well cared-for and our room was spacious and immaculate. Check-in and -out were very courteous. Beds and bedding good. Excellent lighting, great TV channels & reception, good seating, good places to set luggage and toiletries. Cooling system very responsive. Good water pressure in the shower. Like another reviewer, we also found it very handy having two large sink areas, one inside the bathroom itself. You can park right outside your door, and the place was quiet. Can't say enough good things about it. For dinner we were referred to the Santa Fe Grill down the road a bit and we had a great meal there, so appreciated the tip. There is a restaurant right next door to the hotel, "Annie's," but we did not check it out. One of our party tried the hotel breakfast both stays and found it quite nice. The Santa Rosa Inn is very good value for money and a nice stopping point along I-40.

We stayed here overnight on a trip to Utah on business. Was a great place to stay. Loved the ground floor rooms with the door opening to the outside. It looked like it was recently updated and had a new paint job. It was built with the way motels used to be built but very modern appearance. Would definitely stay here again. Rooms were clean and comfortable. What more can you expect from a motel room.

What a breath of fresh air staying at this Best Western. The room was very clean and everything was spotless. The breakfast was restaurant quality! Friendly staff and quiet location. Loved being able to park in front of room.

We have stayed here in the past but were pleasantly surprised by the upgraded rooms. The separated sinks are a wonderful idea particularly given that one is behind a door that will keep the light away from the late sleeper when the early riser is up and about. We travel with our dog and it's nice to know she's welcomed here too.

This Inn is so clean! All the white is blindingly white, all the shiny, super shiny! I thought I saw some water spots, but no, it was the reflection of the marble vanity! Quiet environment, comfy beds, breakfast slightly above average, and the pool looked sparkling (too cold to swim when we visited). If you are passing through Santa Rosa, a great place to stay. (Oh, I left my pillow behind and they caught me in the office when I was checking out! Thanks!)

I travel a lot and stay in a lot of motels this was one of the best places I have ever stayed. not only were they very very helpful Sweet & friendly. but the Place was very very clean inside and out . had everything you need… I have never stayed in a more spotless motel & the price was great too... I have stayed in a lot of places that were horrible and paid a lot more money. I'm gonna try and add some pictures ( they were taken after i slept in it last night so the beds aren't made perfect lol) but I'm telling you.. you will not be disappointed with this place and I definitely would go out of my way to stay here again thank you for making this such a pleasant stay . lots of restaurants in the area I will also add a picture of the menu of a place we ate at twice and it also was spotless and very good food highly recommended...

I loved the layout - pull right in front of your room. The room was awesome - clean and bright. There were 2 sinks which my husband appreciates. Microwave, coffee pot and refrigerator in the room are nice bonuses. The hot breakfast was a great way to begin the day. Will definitely stay here again when the opportunity arises.

Very clean, very quiet. Great place to stop off. Very comfortable beds. Breakfast was great. Easy to go to the Route 66 stuff they have in the area. Only stayed one night, but sure cold have stayed more if we would have had more time.

Nice area for your dog. Did not hear any of the other dogs staying there. Like parking by the room like in the old days, but the motel is up to date on everything else. Owners on site and very helpful and congenial. Grounds well maintained. We stay here twice a year coming/going to Arizona.

Nicest Best Western we have been in for a long time. The rooms was bright and clean, the bathroom layer out so nice. TV was easy to use. What we liked best was the room and and friendliness. There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Although the outside looks like an old fashion single story motel, it has been updated throughout beautifully. The breakfast had many offerings including real eggs. Our room was spotless, and the bathroom even had two sinks! Very nice property.

This hotel was a very nice hotel with a surprise Rt 66 vibe, for a Best Western. The rooms opened to a porch area with your car right in front. The room was very clean and smelled of new furnishings. The owners, who worked the front desk, were enjoyable to talk to and very helpful. You could tell they take pride in their establishment. We would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable and extremely well maintained Best Western. Close to everything, but very quiet. After several previous nights at other BW along our journey, this one was a welcome little Gem. Pet friendly. Would stay here again.

Great Hotel with outstanding and friendly service. The front desk staff member Luz was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, pleasant, patient and caring. She went out of her way to make our family's stay special. We were unfamiliar with the area and she helped us to get our bearings. But her help was only one excellent aspect of our stay. The room was clean and everything we needed was there. The breakfast was hot and tasty, the staff was there and asked if there was anything or anyway they could help us. The manager was friendly and caring. We could not ask for a better stay on our travels. In fact it was the Best!!! Thanks Best Western!!!

Had a very pleasant stay. Grounds were very clean and well maintained. Stayed in room 121, newly renovated and was very comfortable and spacious. Staff we encountered were all very nice. Appropriately priced. Breakfast was very good. I would stay here again. Had takeout for dinner from Chicos and I would recommend .

My wife and I winter in Tucson and have overnighted in Santa Rosa for many years, staying at several different properties. Two years ago, we decided to try the Best Western Santa Rosa Inn - and haven't stayed anywhere else since! The value of onsite ownership/management is reflected in every aspect of the exceptional service and attention to detail in the top quality accommodation updates. The rooms, linens, and bedding are are truly clean and the mattresses and pillows very comfortable. The shower was wonderful with plenty of hot water. The complimentary breakfast area is convenient, clean, and well stocked. We especially enjoy the fresh coffee and mini-cinnamon rolls. We highly recommend this property and look forward to our next stay!

The motel is cute and a real Route 66 place. It has recently been remodeled and the bed and bedding were fantastic. The room was spacious and comfortable. However there was an odd smell in the room that could have been freshener used in cleaning or something. Opened the window to let in some fresh air. Really liked that you can park right in front of your room. The breakfast was OK but very limited. However, there hot items.

Great stay once again. Really enjoy the single story units. Reminiscent of what motels were like during the heyday of old Route 66, with up to date amenities. We always look forward to our stays at BW Santa Rosa!

Classic one story Route 66 style. Easy to park. Totally remodeled rooms. Great shower with a sink in the bathroom and in the main room so two can get ready at the same time. Very comfortable beds and pet friendly. Very reasonable rates. Very clean and friendly help.

I stopped here in December on my way to Santa Fe and was pleasantly surprised at what a little gem this is. My hotel room was one of the cleanest rooms that I have ever stayed in. The owner was such a nice guy and my overall experience was very nice. I would highly recommend this establishment.

We stayed one night on the way home from Az. The hotel is very nicely appointed. It is evident that the rooms have been recently remodeled. Staying in an old style Rte 66 motel with modern amenities is the best. We were able to park in front of our room for easy access. The grounds are clean and it is handy for restaurants either direction. We left early and grabbed a quick muffin, but the breakfast looked nice. Front desk was very friendly and you can tell that the owners really care about hospitality.

When we got off the freeway we were looking for a three-story hotel and what we found was a one story, classic Route 66 styled Motel. I will admit at first I was a little hesitant thinking we were in the wrong place, but what a nice surprise. The rooms were nice sized, very quiet… The place was full and we never heard our neighbors. The breakfast was also very nice although their dining room is a bit small. We didn't feel like eating at a restaurant but right across the street was a very nice and new pilot truckstop that served fresh food. We got a slice of pizza and a salad and took it back to the room for a wonderful meal. This hotel also sits right across from the intersection for US Highway 84 South to Clovis NM and Lubbock TX.

Drove way too many miles on Interstate 40 but got a warm quiet room quick and was not bothered at all with a late check out. There wasn't all the noise which usually happens with late check out. Just what we needed warm quiet sleep. Thanks.

Great hotel in Santa Rosa. Recently remodeled - beautifully I might add! Very nice staff. Great internet. If you are in the area, this is the place to stay! Didn't eat the breakfast but it looked yummy.

This hotel is always clean and we look forward to seeing the many updates that the management has done over the last 20 years of staying there. The changes this last year just overwhelmed us!! As always it has been a fine experience seeing these caring owners and the breakfast is always wonderful.

I would drive a 100 miles out of the way to stay at this motel. It is the best run & operated motel we have stayed with in a very long time. Great breakfast and friendly staff make this a standout place to stay.

The rooms were adequate with shower/sink/tub/toilet in one area, and additional sink a separate room. Two queen beds, a microwave, and refrigerator, coffee, television were also in that room. They do have wi-fi. The rooms were clean and quiet and on one level. It was a good value for the price. They also include a breakfast.

We stayed here on our way out west. The hotel has recently been updated. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. You can open the window for fresh air. Parking was very convenient. The best part was the service. I left the plug to my new expensive phone charger in the wall of our room. When I noticed this hundreds of miles away, I called to ask if they had found it. They had the plug and offered to mail it to me in California, which they did that very day. The owner even sent me a nice email telling me he had mailed it and hoped we had a good trip. I was very grateful. Needless to say, I highly recommend this hotel!

We had stayed here 3 years ago and they have really upped their game. Great breakfast, nice room, and very dog friendly. Unfortunately a total moron checked in around midnight and ended up in the room next door. She proceeded to yell at her family and the two dogs until 2 am. We heard it all. So.. BW, maybe you can sound proof the rooms a bit more.

We had been on the road for 3 weeks, and this was, by far, the most comfortable motel we stayed in! The room was spacious, everything looked new and was extremely clean. The best part, though, was the 2 sink areas (one in with the shower, and the other one in its own dressing area). This made it extremely quick and easy for 2 of us to get ready at the same time. The front desk clerk was very friendly, and the breakfast was delicious! We always try to stop here when we are traveling this direction! Highly recommend!!

We have chosen this hotel the last 2 times traveling through Santa Rosa. Both times staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. We chose this place to stay for the convenience of traveling with a dog as they are welcome here. The rooms are very clean, and beds were comfortable. They have an ice machine which we like to use for our ice chest and a nice breakfast selection starting at 6AM to 9AM. We will visit this location again when in the area for sure.

Needed to stop for the night driving through and reserved this place on my phone. Front desk guy was nice. I was surprised at how nice the room was! Really big room with a small couch. The bathroom was really nice with a separate sink in the bathroom as well as outside. Great water pressure! Bed was comfy and the place was nice and clean. Seemed newly updated.

This is a great place to stay. All rooms open to the outside. The room was very large with a sink outside of and in the bathroom. Everything worked well. The bed was comfortable. Room was quiet. The breakfast was great. Wonderful place to stay!

overall this BW was very nice, bed could've been better but wasn't terrible. Staff was very helpful at check in and check out. Like the size of the room that included a sitting area with loveseat and coffee table besides the desk and chair.

We stopped over while traveling, we booked via phone, then got behind an accident on 2 lane road and were delayed until midnight for check in, the hotel staff were kind about the delayed check in. We had the room closest to the road, i was worried about highway noise, but it was very quiet in the room. Rooms aren't fancy, bathroom very tiny, you have to step alongside the stool to close the door, I wouldn't recommend for a larger person or anyone with mobility issues. The room was clean, bed comfortable. Breakfast was nice, breakfast room clean and inviting. It was winter so we didn't use pool or outdoor spaces.

Love this place !!! Has always been a favorite and we've stayed here often over the years. Luz at the front desk was warmly welcoming and check in was quick & EZ. We seek out motels like this one where you can drive right up to your own exterior entrance door, making it so much easier to transfer coolers, luggage, laptop, etc. Rooms have been updated and modernized since our last visit. Wall mounted flat screen TV. Fridge/micro. Wood grained laminate flooring. Free wifi with ample signal strength and an abundance of easily accessible electrical outlets w/USB ports. Bathroom was sparkling clean with new fixtures. Two sink areas with lots of granite counter space. Generous supply of bright white towels. Slept well on super comfortable beds w/triple sheets and four fat, fluffy pillows. Pet friendly and appreciated the pet areas w/astroturf (no stickers!) Standard continental was well tended. A great room at a great price and always our first choice in Santa Rosa !!!

This was not a hotel but a motel with parking right outside the door so there was noise as people were coming and going. Also, heating very loud when it came on and walls paper thin. The lady at the front desk was very nice and provided recommendations on restaurants. The breakfast was typical of other hotels, cereal, waffles, eggs, sausage, etc. nothing special but it was good.

What a surprise, one of the best Hotel/Motel I have ever stayed at!!! 10 Star!! Very spacious rooms and as clean as a five star hotel, very conveinent to highway and resturants. Would definitely stay again!! Super nice staff!!

EVERYTHING was GREAT at this BW! The Owner “Nat” was so friendly and accommodating. It was the CLEANEST hotel/motel room I have ever stayed at which includes 5 star hotels. Everything down to the a great remote with all channels to include HBO was top notch. Bedding very fresh and comfortable. BEST BATHROOM layout - SPACIOUS with 2 vanities inside and outside of bathroom.

We chose this motel due to the good reviews, and they were accurate. Our overall experience far exceeded the typical stay at the higher-priced larger motels down the street. Our room recently had received a first-class upgrade. It was spacious, with quality furnishings and fixtures, granite counter tops, and two sinks. Breakfast was good, and the hosts were friendly and efficient. And I had forgotten how handy it is to park right in front of the door to your room! We plan on staying here in the future when we are traveling this way.

Recently drove cross country and stopped here for the night. Best Western is always a good bet! This place is a single story building where you park in front of your unit. Great for seniors! Clean and modern with the nicest people ever! Had our best night's sleep here of the whole trip! Highly recommended! Walk to Annie's restaurant where they feature homemade food and classic music. You can't go wrong here.

This room was one of the best we've had on our cross country trip. The room was spacious. Very clean. Couch was very comfortable to sit in. (Usually they're worn out and cushions sag.) Loved the layout of the bathroom. Had a full bathroom and another sink outside of the bathroom. 2 people could get ready at the same time. The water pressure coming out of the shower was excellent and water was soft! Nothing bad to say about our stay. Mr. Patel was pleasant and very helpful. We did not partake of breakfast.

What a great BW right off hwy 40 on Route 66! What a neat, safe area! Loved that you parked your car outside your front door, made carrying things in so easy! Beautiful clean updated room with everything you need! Comfortable bed! Lots of plugs for technology! Desk ,mini fridge, microwave. Free HBO channels! Loved the large vanity was outside of toilet/shower room but BONUS* another vanity in the toilet room! Made it easy for both of us getting ready in the AM! Great coffee & loved the toiletries that were paraffin & sulfate free with a nice scent! Breakfast in the lobby was the best on our 12 day road trip! REAL scrambled eggs, tasty sausage, link or patties, diced potatoes & a few topping for your dish! Loved the little danish & mini cinnamon rolls. Plus all the other usual breakfast items! The friendly owners were there working hard & making sure everyone was happy! We had 1 issue that was addressed; room 141 had an odd odor of maybe old cigarette smoke and my hubs & I are sensitive to smells. Ask for a different room right away! I still give this little gem a 5 STAR!

This was my third stay at this hotel in 2 years. It is consistently a good place for my cat and I to stay as we travel to and from the Ozarks and San Diego. I like the room and really appreciate the rates. I have paid double for similar rooms with a $50 pet fee which I find excessive. This hotel has a $10 pet fee which, from my perspective, is fair. Really like Best Western Santa Rosa Inn and I appreciate the staff there.

We really enjoyed our stay in the clean and comfortable motel. We will continue staying there. All employees were friendly and check-in and out was simple. We were impressed with the cleanliness of our room. We definitely recommend this motel.

A wonderful remake of an old fashioned "park outside your door" motel. We always stay here traveling back and forth to Arizona and the property is improved every year. Large rooms with two vanities, All new furniture and fixtures, very clean and meticulously maintained. Owners live on site and are working every day. An up to date nostalgic Route 66 experience. A modern 60's experience!

Having stayed at this motel before felt good about staying and making reservations here. Decent rate, check discounts. Clean rooms, recently updated and nice new wonderful beds. Breakfast fine. Lots of towels. I like driving up to the room with outside entries. All good, new furniture did have some off gassing, so that only issue and know that will go away. Understand they have specified pet rooms, so glad to hear that. Would stay again and recommend!!! Nice desk help too and mgr.

We have stayed at other pet friendly hotels and none have been this clean and accommodating. The room had tile and no carpet which is likely why it was able to be kept so clean. Dog potty spot was about 30ft right outside the room. Free hot breakfast; sausage eggs and waffles as well as muffins fruit and other options for cold breakfast items. We arrived to breakfast late and Taru went out of her way to assure there was enough food and accommodations for a great breakfast!! Service and staff were great!

This motel was the cleanest we have seen. We heard about it at the restaurant next door, Annie's, before we checked in. We were told by the motel staff that they have a lot of repeat customers and we can see why. They have the room cleaning down to a science. Well done!

Staff was very helpful. This hotel is situated close to the highway and we appreciated the fact that ii is on the ground level so that you can park your car right in front of the room door. Breakfast is good and room was very clean and comfortable.

We really liked this hotel. They have a very nice pet relief area with bags and trash can and people actually picked up after their pets! The woman at the front desk was helpful and provided excellent service. Very clean rooms with easy access.

Not sure about other hotels in the area because we were just passing through. This was just ok. It will do it you're exhausted and need some shut eye. I can appreciate their efforts in remodeling and trying to update their style but the mark was missed a little bit for this price range. Would stay again if need be bit only because I would know what I was getting.

Staff were pleasant and helpful, everything about the place was fine. I believe I was charged more than the booking price for the 1st night but driving 10 hrs i didnt care. We were on our way to Arizona and a snow storm hit the region. The interstate was snow covered and closed in places. We decided to play safe and stay another night however the price went from $116. to $185. Normally on line price and on a Friday night this hotel charges $85 - $100. We and others were stranded and ripped off on the price to stay another night. Will not stay in that location again and may even consider not staying at BW again.

Our experience was excellent. We stayed there two different nights in our travels. Rooms are remodeled and exceptionally clean. Very comfortable beds. Breakfast was delicious and offered many choices. Owners are very hospitable and helpful. We will stay there again when we are in the area.

One of my 2 confirmed rooms was given away by the manager because we didn't arrive until 9 pm and had been delayed due to travel conditions. She screamed at me at I should be thankful that she didn't give away both rooms because other people without reservations needed the rooms. I had booked with a guaranteed credit card months ago directly with Best Western. Other confirmed guests were also facing sleeping in their car because she gave their room away too. Who does this?

I liked everything about the Best Western Santa Rosa Inn. It's pet friendly, yet sparkling clean and very well maintained. The Patels, who manage the inn, are very professional, courteous and eager to make your stay pleasant. The rates are very reasonable and include breakfast in a spotlesss dining room. I would recommend the inn to anyone traveling through Santa Rosa.

Clean updated room, comfortable bed, good breakfast (especially enjoyed the NM green chile side for eggs). Would recommend hotel for overnight or longer stay. Have not considered BW lodging much in past but will look more at them more in the future.

We have stayed at this location at least a dozen times. We have 2 dogs and the facility has great accommodations for their needs. The is always attentive and friendly. We always get the same room when available. The breakfast is good with coffee available all the time. This place is a good value for your money. We will continue staying here in the future. David

Love the overall experience I had here. All rooms are on ground level, no stairs or elevator, which is a plus for me. Very accessible. Helpful and courteous staff. Good breakfast selection. I never heard any guests, well lit at night but didn't filter into room at night so you can sleep.

Easy check in experience. Nice room, easy to access with a lot of stuff. I woke up in the morning to multiple police officers. I was informed that a woman had been robbed at 6 am. DO not leave anything important in your car!!!!!!!!

We actually plan our days traveling around this motel in Santa Rosa NM. The owners and staff are so very pleasant, professional and helpful. We travel with two small dogs and even request a favorite room near the pet area. They have gone above and beyond to make this a pet friendly experience for travelers. This is a very clean establishment and breakfast is delightful as well. We have never had even a hint of a complaint. We stop here several times a year coming and going. Our comfort level is complete when we arrive! Kudos to Nat Patel and staff.

I was traveling through and book for the morning of the day I was coming in and listed I would be there at 2am.... however I was told I needed to book for the night before and let them know I would coming in late/early.... anyway it was a confusing mess, but they were accommodating and found me a room even though they were booked. (it was smoking though)

Very clean, very comfortable, very competent staff. Very reasonably priced. The outside is clean, the rooms are very clean. The staff very courteous and helpful - even when you spill the milk container, at the breakfast bar cause you can't figure it out and won't ask for help. I've stayed here at least 6 times over the last 18 months.

Rooms are clean and include a microwave, fridge and coffee machine and coffee. Plenty of pillows and towels. Extra options on the tv require payment for use but plenty of free stations. Free breakfast and guest laundry a available.

This hotel is excellent, so clean, very comfortable beds, good location it was quite even though it is closely located to the Interstate. Staff does a wonderful job of making you feel welcomed, very good breakfast. We would stay again.

Driving back to Arizona, the stay here was great. The room was clean as was the bathroom. Working years as a plumber I find most hotel bathrooms lack in one way or another when it comes to plumbing. This hotel bathrooms plumbing was perfect. Everything had been installed correctly and worked. The rooms have had exceptional maintenance and housekeeping. We will stay here in the future!

This is my favorite place to stay when traveling cross country. The staff is absolutely wonderful, friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. The rooms are equally superb, well laid out and clean! I can't wait to travel through there again, I am a customer for life!

OK. This one was right out of the 1950s. Reminded us of traveling when we were kids. Showing its age, but it was neat and tidy and fairly quiet for being so closed to the highway. Very friendly staff. Complimentary breakfast was. . . .well, was BW typical. But it was fun just to have the old-time experience.

Been here before and stopped here on our way home from son's and daughter's houses. Having been here before, our expectations were high, and our expectations were better than we expected. We are just leaving this motel which is a single-level set of rooms with parking directly in front. It also has a swimming pool. Many of the rooms are set back from the highway making noise pretty much a non-issue. We stayed in a room with two comfortable queen beds that had two large sink areas - one in the room with the bath/shower combo and toilet, and the other adjacent to it. Both have large mirrors. There was no safe in the room. The room and breakfast area are both spotless and very well maintained. The breakfast room is small, but also kept quite clean and had a good variety of both hot and cold offerings. WiFi worked well. The owners are very pleasant and helpful. With its reasonable price, excellent maintenance, and cheerful ownership, I have no problem recommending this lodging and would stay here again.

This is our go-to spot when we travel between Missouri and Arizona! Although it is an older motel, it has been remodeled and is always clean. We love that there isn't any nasty carpet in the rooms! Separate bathroom vanities, refrigerator and microwave are nice touches. The beds and pillows are always comfy too! The staff have always been very nice. On this trip, we were pulling a trailer with an ATV. Judy was very accommodating in finding us a safe place to park without concerns with theft. Thank you!! See you again in a few weeks when we return home!

We found this Best Western to be an excwptional place to stay. Wonderdul staff and management. We are motorcyclists traveling 10,000 mileage plus per year and in the past year, we are finding more Best Westerns in smaller towns. Ear the back roads we love to be excellent choices and veey reasonable. Kudos to you guys!

Stayed the night on our journey. The manager was all hands on deck and really ran this hotel well. Room very clean with everything you need. Beds comfortable. Pool looked sparkling clean. Breakfast had everything you needed and was fresh. Highly recommend this hotel . Did have a hamburger place next door for dinner but no alcohol served ( contrary to their ad in the hotel compendium )

You will love the parking right in front of room * Pet area was very well planned. But.....come on pet owners, please use the bags provided and dispose of right in the area. This area was very clean when checked in and didn't see a problem until early next morning. In no way this was a problem with the establishment but the pet owner's irresponsibility So please pick up after your pet.. bags are there. Thanks! This was our second time staying here and highly recommend it. There are other motels but I guarantee you will not find one better. Oh..price was good also....they give senior rates!

Very clean and comfortable hotel. Parking right outside our room made it convenient getting in and out with luggage. Hot breakfast in the morning was good. Would recommend this BW to any travelers. Great value!

All first floor rooms, park in front. No elevators so convenient. Hot breakfast was very good with eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles and more. Very comfortable bed. And surprise two sinks and great tv.

This BW had a very inviting room. Tile instead of carpet that gave the room an open and very clean appearance. Very friendly staff and I was pleased with the fact that they had plenty of trailer parking.

The Best Western was very clean and the staff is super friendly. They allowed us to park our 16 foot trailer so that we could see it from our room. They serve breakfast in the morning and it was great. The staff made us feel very welcomed , We recommend The Best western to everyone.

We stayed at this hotel two years ago and it was such a comfortable stay we had no doubt we wanted to stay there again. The staff is warm and friendly and the rooms are well maintained, very clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and and plentiful. Love the parking, park right outside your door so unloading and loading is very easy. Hotel is one story so no one knocking around above. We definitely recommend this hotel.

We stopped overnight while on a road trip. The front desk employee was welcoming. The room was clean and well appointed. The continental breakfast was very good. It ended at 9, and at 8:50 their weren't many scrambled eggs left so an employee made hot fresh eggs. I thought that was going above and beyond. My husband accidentally left his pillow in the room when we checked out and we didn't realize he'd left it until the next day. He called and they had it and mailed it to our home. (Of course we paid for the cost) Everything exceeded our expectations!

We visit Santa Rosa, NM three-four times a year to visit my husband's family members and other friends who live in the area. We have stayed at the Best Western for years. Under the current management of Nat Patel and his staff we always have a wonderful experience with our accommodations and other services provided.

Sparkling clean! The bathroom looked like it had never been used. There is a sink in the bathroom and another sink and counter outside the bathroom, very helpful. The bed was is so comfortable you don't want to get up! I had a pet room and the floor was all tile, not sure if all rooms are the same, but it was great. Nice choices for breakfast. Close to interstate but quiet. Staff was great, helpful and friendly.

The accommodations are adequate and the people are nice. You can park right in front of your door so unloading and loading is a snap. Wifi worked fine too. The place looks a bit outdated but I am told that was in the design of this place... the nostalgia look.

Spent a night on way through town! The rooms in an old motel were completely remodeled and looked brand new. The staff was very attentive and paid attention to details. Nice breakfast too. Very convenient to I40 and reasonably priced.

We stopped overnight on our way to Flagstaff, AZ. We arrived late but our room was ready and VERY nice for the price. The best surprise was our beautiful view when we woke up the next morning. Breakfast was very average so we opted to skip it. The man at the front counter was very friendly as we departed and I was very impressed when he asked if there was anything they could do better!

We stayed here with our 91 year old mother & sister. We all very much appreciated the clean rooms and homey atmosphere. Everyone had a good night's rest & delicious breakfast. Loved the fireroasted chilis! Thanks!

This is the best place to stay in Santa Rosa. It's clean, well maintained and managed, with recently redone bathrooms. You'll love the free breakfast too. We especially enjoy being able to park right outside our room to load and unload .

Older style pull up to the door type hotel. One level. The check in was great very kind. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was hot and good and the owner and wife were hustling to make sure all was stocked. Small area to eat but it worked out fine. would stay again.

Friendly staff, variety of breakfast each day. We had the pool/hot tub to ourselves during the day but water didn't seem very clean. Workout room was hot! Rooms were a little dated but clean. Quiet location off main drag and up a hill.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here, and I will never stay anywhere else again-- while traveling through New Mexico. The rooms are immaculate, quiet and very relaxing for a good night's sleep. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. It has the feel of an old time tourist court, since it is located on historic Route 66 (yet right off the interstate), but everything has been totally redone--inside and out. The pool is wonderful, there is on-sight laundry facility and a full and hearty breakfast. The beds are THE most comfortable in any hotel we stayed at on any of our trips in the last 10 years. Best of all, there are 2 sinks, one in the bathroom and a huge vanity has its own, so 2 people can get ready at the same time. Don't waste your money in Albuquerque, stay here instead!

This was our second stop on our trip to Dallas Texas. The hotel was very easy to get to. The staff was very friendly and nice. The room was very quiet and clean. The breakfast was delicious. I would stay here a again.

This is one of the nicest Best Western hotels I have stayed at. Front desk service was friendly and quick. The rooms are laid out well, beds are comfortable, and the bathroom with an exterior sink is great for getting out the door quickly. Continental breakfast was good too!

We have stayed at this Best Western a few times and it never disappoints. The rooms are clean, the person at the front desk was very helpful, the beds are very comfortable and it was very quiet. The breakfast bar had the traditional fare plus real scrambled eggs which was a nice addition. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy!

Our third stay in this excellent motel as we travel between Dallas and LA. Once again we had very clean, most comfortable room in a friendly environment. The rooms have been remodeled and the bathroom was new. Loading and unloading is easy as you park in front of the room. A great place to stay if you are traveling with a pet as the rooms do not have rugs and the pet walking area is clean and close.

We were traveling I-40 East and needed a place to stay, when I searched trip advisor this motel came up, seemed nice, and I booked as we traveled down the highway. I had minimal expectations but when entering the room we were both pleasantly surprised! 2 very nice queen beds, very clean room, everything seemed new, microwave, small fridge, nice sized tv with many channels - including 8 hbo channels (often NOT available at motels) beds were comfy with lots of pillows and bathroom area has outer sink (coffee maker there) and shower/toilet and inner sink separate. Tile floors throughout which for NM makes sense. A bit pricy -about $180 with taxes- but all hotels in this area are(again we just needed a place to stay!). They do offer a small continental breakfast- I think coffee and basics-we wanted to hit the road! Across the street is an awesome Pilot gas station that has lots!!! Good place to either stop for the night or stay if you are visiting area!

Santa Rosa is a busy place but Harry at the Best Western handled like a true professional. Thank you Best Western and thank you Harry. Give Harry a raise. Without him you'd be lost. Go to the Silver Moon Cafe for dinner (Harry suggested it.) It was great and so was Harry.

Easy access right off highway. Rooms big and clean! Woman at check-in very personable and helpful. 2 men in lobby and breakfast area paid attention to every detail. A pleasant stay at a location and highway that brings back memories of the TV Show

We stayed here 1 night on a motorcycle trip to the Grand Canyon. Room was very clean, bed was very comfortable, and we enjoyed the suite, room to stretch out!! We didn't eat the breakfast, as we like bigger brunches, so I can't rate the breakfast here, but I'm sure it's fine! We were on our motorcycle and had locked everything up, but felt safe. Room rate was very reasonable too! I always request a pet-free, smoke-free & down-free room, and we got it!! We would stay here again!

Got two rooms, about $100 a night each. Rooms were clean, linens were clean. Large clean bathroom area with sink in with shower and toilet, as well as a vanity outside of bathroom. Beds were comfy, AC worked great. I'm a stickler for clean, so doors, baseboards and jams needed wiped down and a good vacuuming around end tables. Motel style with rooms exiting to parking lot. Didn't use outdoor pool or get to the breakfast in time. Would recommend this hotel in a small town that looks like it's seen its better days.

This Best Western is great! The staff is amazing and the price is just right. They are pet friendly too with a very small fee! I was really impressed with our room! So clean and spacious! Everything was wonderful here!

And as a traveler who has experienced a lot of dread staying at motels, I surely appreciated his customer first mentality! This BW is simple, but very nice. The staff was extremely friendly. We really liked the fact there were two sinks, one inside the bathroom, and one out. If you're on a road trip and need to stop for the night in Santa Rosa, I would recommend this place.

Enjoyed the room and breakfast. Quiet room and people were friendly. They had a pool but we did not go swimming. Located on east side of town. Room seemed to be freshly remodeled. Parking in front of your room. Normal Best Western and clean.

We have stayed at this motel twice now and will be back. It is easy to get to, check-in is quick, service is wonderful, the rooms are immaculate, the beds and pillows are very comfortable, and the management truly seems to appreciate the we choose to stay with them. There are two sinks...one in the bathroom and one outside the bathroom door, both with nice counter space. This is really nice when two people are trying to get ready to go somewhere. I also loved the fact that the remote for the TV was in a package of sorts indicating that it had been cleaned. It is a reasonably priced motel with high standards.

This property is being remodeled. We got a remodeled room and it was one of the nicest motel rooms we have been in. The staff was very nice and friendly. Beds were very comfortable and room was clean.

We have stayed here both times we have driven to Santa Fe and ALWAYS so happy with everything. The rooms are great, well laid out & the manager is wonderful. It really is the best place to stay in Santa Rosa for the money. I doubt more Money would get you anything truly better.

A surprisingly nice facility. Only stayed for one night while traveling and picked using TripAdvisor. One story with doors facing parking lot. Good sized rooms with basic amenities. Worth the price for this area. Standard breakfast. No complaints.

This motel allows pets, and appeared to have a standard cleaning fee if you have a pet. To me this would still create a potential for fleas. There is a small magnetic Do Not Disturb sign on the inside of the room door, which is easy to miss. Unless you want housekeeping entering before your mandatory 11 a.m. departure (7:59 a.m. in our case) don't miss this sign. Our room had two sinks, which is nice, but there was no towel rack for the larger sink in the room, just in the bathroom. Otherwise, our room seem clean and decent.

Spent just one night while traveling across the country and found this Best Western to be one of the nicest around for the price per night. Very nice gal at the front desk that got me checked in at lightning speed. Room was very clean, up to date decor, great tv, cold a/c and etc. What I liked best about this best western was that it is laid out like a old time motel. Single level and you park at your room door. Very convenient. I did not have the free breakfast as I left before it was open so I cannot comment on that part of the stay. Otherwise, I loved my stay.

This is one of the best places that we have ever stayed!!!! The customer service is fantastic! This place is spotless and the beds are fantastic! I love the way the room is set up with two wash basins so both of us could get ready at the same time! The breakfast was excellent!! We will be back!!

We stayed here on a trip home from the Grand Canyon. We did not have any prior information about this establishment before booking our stay. The only information we used for our decision was obtained via the Internet several hours before arriving. What we found was a very pleasant surprise. We found the motel with a charming exterior and friendly staff. The registration area is shared with a nice lounge spot with a computer for guest use and the breakfast area. The whole area was small but worked for all that was contained in it. Coffee and juice were available 24 hours/day. The rooms were the outside entrance type and there is something to be said for the old fashioned, drive up to your door for an easy unloading. We were assigned a large room with 2 queen-sized beds and plenty of room for a desk & chair, table & 2 chairs, a chest of drawers, space for hanging and two luggage racks. Also a large bathroom with 2 separatated sinks, one with a large vanity and mirror separate from the full bath room. The tub/shower had wall-mounted dispensers for shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The room had a refrigerator, microwave oven and coffee maker (single-cup-at-a-time but not Keurig). We found it to be exceptionally clean, looks newly refurnished with comfy beds and nice pillows. An example of cleanliness, the TV remote was sanitized & in a "clean" bag for the next guest - not something that you see often. The full breakfast was a surprise with the "real" scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, waffles, cold & hot cereals, fresh fruit, various flavors of yogurt, Danish, cinnamon rolls, muffins, toaster for the various breads, coffee (of course) and several juice options. There is a restaurant within walking distance but we did not visit it. P.S. Down below I was not able, on this iPad, to select any of the hotel rating circles so I had to leave that undone. Suffice it to say that we were quite pleased with all aspects of our stay.

We moved cross country. This place was the best, quietest, most accessible, and cheapest of anywhere else we stayed. There's a washer and drier. Coffee/juice/water 24/7. The staff is wonderful and the room was super clean. In addition, everything felt updated (no musty carpets and tattered furniture). The small touches are like those of a four-star: nightlights, spacious bathroom, crisp sheets, a sofa, and conveniently placed outlets. Quite the happy surprise. Thank you, Lutz!

I have been going to this Best Western for a number of years driving back and forth across the Midwest. I felt it was time to give them an ada-boy for the value and the rooms. I had a small dog with me all the times I have stayed here and the pet fee is only 10 bucks! And the rooms are very clean..

This location was very clean, comfortable and easy on/off access to Interstate 40. Price was reasonable and staff very friendly. Did not participate in the free breakfast as we preferred a full service breakfast at the place next door. Would definitely stay here again.

We stopped in Santa Rosa for our night stop as we were heading across the country on Route 66/I-40. Very clean rooms, comfortable bed, and nice breakfast. Easy off freeway location and easy, quick checkin. We didn't have any issues at all.

Bed was very comfortable & breakfast was better than the usual motel offering. Extra nice walk area for dogs. We especially liked that the motel is laid out like years ago where you park in front of your room & each room has an outside door.

It was late in the evening on the Easter long weekend so they decided to jack the rate up by 50% to take advantage of all the travelers on the road. The check-in clerk even admitted that as the other hotels around sold out he was raising the prices as this hotel filled up. What a scam. We were stuck so we stayed but will never return. Boycott this rip off hotel!

Wonderful hotel with a motel style (drive-up). Very clean and well decorated inside and out. Nice to see doggie poop bags outside for those traveling with pets. Very quiet stay at night. Very pleasant staff.

Our first trip to, and stay in, Santa Rosa. This quaint hotel was a breath of fresh air. The husband and wife duo was a smiling, helpful, pleasant pair. I would definitely stay here again! We were warmly greeted and well taken care of at breakfast and checkout.

Clean updated comfortable room. I would definitely stay again. The shower head was dated but other than that, the motel is perfect for a tired traveler. Parking is easy and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was very good.

This hotel reminded me of the motels we used to stay at when my family traveled when I was a kid. I loved being able to park in front of my room but still have a really nice and comfortable room with a refrigerator & microwave not to mention breakfast was included for an awesome price! We keep coming back here year after year on our way to Santa Fe. The owners take great pride in their property and are such nice people to do business with. The rooms could not be cleaner, and the hot breakfast is as good as any I've had anywhere. The price is super reasonable!

One of the cleanest motels we have ever seen. very friendly, professional staffing make the stay even better. In this motel every thing worked exactly as it should, and that is a rare occurrence. without a shadow of a doubt, we will use this motel again.

The exterior of the motel was very well maintained. We were greeted by a friendly front desk clerk who was helpful and got us checked in quickly. The room was spotless. The beds were very comfortable. The night was quiet and we slept well. In the morning the breakfast was hot and well stocked. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations in every way.

You'll get a Harley discount here. Free breakfast and nice rooms included. There are close by places to eat and you can park your bike right out front of your room. I always stay here when I'm passing through Santa Rosa.
