« Older but very clean. »

This hotel definitely has a few years on it but the room was clean and smelled good. A few problems, closet door wouldn't slide, bathroom fan didn't work but we reported them to the front desk when we left. I believe they will take care of it. Just grabbed a bagel from the breakfast area but it was well stocked and looked very clean. They were busy because it was the day after thanksgiving but they seemed to have it under control.

    « Fantastic stay »

We stopped in Santa Maria for one night on our drive up the coast and it was fantastic. The room was spacious, clean and of high quality. The staff were friendly and helpful, the included breakfast was great and parking was included. Would definitely stay again.

« aim low, avoid disappointment »

this place needs a staff remodel as well as a compound remodel. i only stay here because that is where work says i have to( corporate discount). there are slums across the street and people in a field being arrested next to that. i don't feel safe.

    « Nice Place »

This was a nice motel, above average in all categories. It was very convenient to places we wanted to visit. The room aw pleasant and the internet worked very well. We would stay there again if we return to that area.

    « Clean and Nice »

The front desk staff recommended a steakhouse restaurant called Shaw's, it was fabulous! The hotel room was clean and nice. There was loud music coming from the back end of the hotel. I am not sure if was from the hotel or behind the hotel but it had stopped before we returned from dinner. Breakfast was decent although the breakfast burritos were cold.

We were just looking for someplace to relax after a long day on the road. This hotel was great. Really nice clean room, GREAT beds, nice breakfast and wonderful helpful staff. You can't go wrong at this hotel.

« Great place to stay »

Easy to find. Easy on and off fwy. Reservations made over the phone while in route. Great front desk service. Rooms super clean. Bed was super comfy. Parking lot well lite and loitering going on. Breakfast was great with many options. Was able to print out docs needed that was a high plus.

Great location in town and easy access to freeways. The breakfast was good and the lobby area was spotless. Bed was very comfortable and everything in the room worked fine. The staff was helpful in recommending a place to get dinner.

« Great Value instead of San Luis Obispo »

We were up at Cal Poly SLO for parents weekend but the rates in SLO go up really high during high traffic weekends so going 30 minutes south to Big America is fiscally smart. Nice rooms, good breakfast and a pool. Great value.

    5
    « Santa Maria »

This was an excellent place to stay! The rooms are nice, the beds were very comfortable and everyone was friendly. They could use bigger parking lot and an elevator but other than that everything was great.

    « Good Stopping Point »

Just spent the night enroute SF-LA. Room was spacious-- bathroom was suite-style. Beds were only fulls, but everything was clean and worked. Breakfast had some neat hot items, like biscuits and gravy. Two waffle makers- score! Staff was helpful during our visit. No complaints.

« Favorite place to stay in Santa Maria »

Our favorite place to stay while in Santa Maria. Rooms are big and clean. The hot tub and pool are clean and relaxing. The best part besides comfortable beds is the breakfast. The hot breakfast that is included is the best we've had for a hotel breakfast. Hot waffle maker, breakfast burritos with amazing homemade salsa, biscuits and gravy, plus cold foods. Can't beat the price for everything that is included.

« Best Western in Santa Maria Delivers »

Arrived at 10 p.m. after a challenging drive. Was thrilled that the heated outdoor pool and hot tub were open 24 hrs/day. We enjoyed both late in the evening and early the next morning. The hotel room was spotless. Bed was very comfortable firm, linens in excellent shape. Check-in and check-out were very fast. The free breakfast was very starchy - my only complaint and it is a minor one. This hotel was excellent value for the money.

    « Excellent Place »

The rooms were outstanding. They came complete with everything we needed from the refrigerator to the Iron. The beds were extremely comfortable. The rooms were very clean and the Staff was so friendly and helpful. I would Highly recommend a stay here.

    « Nice Hotel »

All of the rooms have been redone and a few turned into mini suites. Breakfast wasn't the usual but didn't have enough protein options, no eggs (except boiled) and no bacon or sausage, biscuits were good but the gravy a little bland. The front staff was very friendly.

« Santa Maria Best Western »

I've come to this Best Western every year for several years now because it's always clean, comfortable, friendly, safe, convenient, and I can get my breakfast on the premises. I hope to continue my yearly visits for many years to come.

    4
    « Great value »

Very nice for about $150 a night, a bargain in Southern California. I felt very safe there, too, with all the firefighters staying there. Friendly staff, comfortable bed with lots of pillows, microwave, mini fridge, coffee pot, free bottled water and free breakfast. It's no luxury resort but for the price I don't think you can beat it.

    4
    « clean and comfortable »

great place to stop on a road trip through the area. Best choice for value as you travel North from Los Angeles. Breakfast is included - waffles, fruit, pastries and scrambled eggs. Restaurant in on site.

    « Great place »

I had a pleasant stay here. Teresa at the front desk was very kind and helpful. The room I stayed in had an awesome spacious bathroom and the beds and furniture were clean and tidy. Cheap places to buy food nearby. 5/5

    « Friendly Staff »

My husband and I stayed here in July visiting a friend. What I like most about this place was the huge bathroom with a beautiful vanity. There were 3 mirrors and you can angle it to your liking. In that lavatory you will find a closet with long length mirror (right beside the vanity), also the toilet is closed off and a distant away from the tub. Our cleaning lady was superb as she made sure we had new sheets and the toiletries were replenished each time. As many Best Western facilities they serve their breakfast located a tuck away from the lobby, off to the side by the communal area where they have the computers. Very simple as I call them just a starters. What I liked most is the waffle iron, there is a pre made batter to the side and you can make your own waffles and any additions like chocolate chips or caramel sauce is not available, just your regular butter and syrup in individual packets. The only downfall is the location, it seemed not safe at night.

    « It was fine...once I complained »

I had a reservation for a disabled room. I checked in around 4:00 PM and, before looking at the room, went to run an errand. When I returned 1) the room was very close to the street (which is extremely busy / noisy); 2) there were no disabled parking spaces anywhere near the room (I don't mean available...I mean AT ALL). Went to the front desk to inquire about a quieter room and there was another couple ahead of me asking about a disabled room. They also said they had no reservation. I immediately piped up that I DID have a reservation...and that they could have *my* disabled room, as I couldn't stay in it because it was too noisy. The clerk gave the no res couple a different room than mine. And he told me that he had no more disabled rooms. When I asked why he'd given them the last disabled room when they had no res and I had told him I did have one, he said they were there first. No, I said...I was there an hour ago and had been given a bad room. After making a bit of a fuss with him he suddenly found another room...far away from the street and with a disable parking space immediately in front of it. Now...why hadn't he done that in the beginning? If not when I first checked in then when I came back to complain? Aside from this, my stay was stellar. The new room was excellent, very clean, quiet, great amenities, etc...nothing at all to complain about. Breakfast begins quite early, even on weekends...fabulous!

« One night in Santa Maria »

We were on our way from Palm springs to Monterey. This hotel had good reviews and seemed a reasonable price compared to other hotels in the area. I was a good choice, the room was clan and comfortable and my wife appreciated the very large bathroom with a separate toilet.

    5
    « Outstanding »

We have been staying at this hotel for many years now on trips from WA. All the staff are friendly and provide great assistance. The rooms are really nice with very comfortable mattresses, large bathrooms with a vanity also for the ladies, shower heads that provide a strong and invigorating outpour of water, excellent tv and other accommodations. I especially enjoy the king sized rooms. The breakfasts are pleasant with waffles to yogurt, bagels, cereals, juices, breakfast burritos, biscuits and gravy, etc. We will be back again.

    « Working in town »

This is newly remodeled nice place to go I really enjoyed that Mississippi room the breakfast is good in the next day. People are very friendly and it's really close to the downtown area so you can do almost anything you want.

    « Another Relaxing Stay »

My wife and I have met my brother at the Best Western Plus Big America for a relaxing Labor Day weekend for the last 5 years. We find the rooms to be clean, the beds very comfortable, and the housekeeping service very good. My brother, wife and I meet at the Jacuzzi each evening and relax in the hot bubbly waters. the trip back to the room is a little cold but well worth it. This trip I was totally exhausted from several weeks of hard work and my first night I slept like a baby and woke up the next morning totally refreshed. We get coffee, orange juice, yogurt, a Danish and fresh fruit at the morning breakfast each day. There are no eggs, bacon or sausage like at other hotel breakfasts I have been too. They do have hot oatmeal, cereal, bagels, and toast as well. It is a very good breakfast if you are not looking for eggs. Check in and out is always a breeze and we always book our reservation for the following year when we check out since they get booked up for the Labor Day weekend. We have always enjoyed our stay and will continue to come back to the Best Western Big America on Labor Day weekend. I recommend this hotel to anyone considering a trip to Santa Maria.

    « Very Nice Hotel »

The hotel room was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable and the TV worked. The daily breakfast buffet was wonderful. The staff was extremely nice and very helpful. The room was affordable, compared to other hotels.

« Room is clean services disappointing »

Bad breakfast choice, uninformed guest service, no regards for Diamond status and horrible internet. Room was clean and quiet. bed was super comfortable. Too expensive for the value of money. Maybe there aren't better hotels around but have stayed at much better Best Westerns

    « Quick problem resolution »

Love the huge, unique bathroom with a separate water closet, dressing table with mirrors, comfy tub and a wonderful hot breakfast. We experienced noisy neighbors partying in the parking lot - reported it and it was taken care of, right away. Will absolutely stay here again.

« Nightmare on North Broadway, Santa Maria »

I would rather tackle a grizzly bear with rabies than stay in this hovel again. Avoid this hole at all costs Breakfast rubbish, unless you are found of biscuits n gravy Prepaid and charged again without authorisation, refused to refund by rude front desk manager, this is theft Rooms dark, dingy, smelly, horrible, depressing Area is nowhere for a stopover or vacation AVOID - DO YOURSELVES A FAVOUR GO TO PRIMO BEACH 10 miles up the coast

    4
« One of the best Best Westerns »

On a drive from the Bay Area to San Diego, we wanted to stay midway between, making it a comfortable 2 -day drive. This motel really filled the bill, at a reasonable cost. The room was spacious, with all the amenities--small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, desk, high-speed internet. The king bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was ample--waffles, cereal, juice, yogurt, fruit--everything fresh. The town is small and easy to get around, with plenty of nice restaurants for dinner. We would stay there again.

    4
« Great value for money »

The room had big mirrors all around to make it look very spacious, and it was indeed. We had a king bed and a queen bed, located separately with an air conditioner in each room. The channel guide was very useful and there were many to choose from. Overall very good for money and definitely recommend staying here on budget.

    5
    « Not a single complaint! »

Stayed for the night on 8/20/16 and don't have a single complaint. We arrived late (around 11pm) and the front desk was more than accommodating... they even gave us a ground floor room so we wouldn't have to drag our big suitcases upstairs. Breakfast the next morning was nicer than I expected and those waffles are good! Room conditions were great - AC was cool. Shower was easy to use. And b/c I'm not a coffee person they had available tea bags in the lobby w/ hot water. So nice!

    1
    « Horrible »

Babies crying, dogs barking, street noise, trucks idling and compressors running all night. The worst Best Western I have stayed at. If you decide to stay here get a room as far away from the street and side parking lot as possible. The price was way too much for the quality of this hotel.

    5
    « Great Place »

This place was on the pricey side though it is in the southern part of California, in the middle of summer and not many room available in the area. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was very large. Everything was very clean and comfy. It definitely made up for the price. We ate at the restaurant next door. My opinion not recommended. Otherwise a very pleasant stay. Staff was great!!

« To stay or Not to stay »

well, we have paid $200/night and surely it was not worth it, unfortunately. i am Platinum memebr with them and NO ONE greated me with thank you for being so or this is an upgrade for you or even unfortunately there is none, just this is your key and go...checkning out they were much interested where i came from what is my nationality rather then thank you for staying with us and hope to see you next time or you have earned this amount of points or anything...i wont do it again

« Updated since my last visit here! »

Got this on a deal this time from PL, though it is hard it seems to get under $100 because there aren't as many good hotels in SM. Nevertheless, BW here has been updated since my last stay two years ago for the better. The room is still spacious but it is a little more modern. The breakfast buffet offers a lot as usual. As mentioned, the area around the hotel wouldn't be ideal to walk around (best place would be Orcutt or the areas in the newer parts of town). It wasn't as packed as my last visit, so I was able to park in front of my room. Glad to have come back.

    5
    « Excellent Hotel »

One of the better hotels we stayed at. Extremely friendly service and the staff takes their job seriously and wants you to have a pleasant time there. The pool was great! Always clean and they had towels at the pool location for you. Breakfast was amazing, plenty to choose from and they have someone working the area so its always stocked. I would definitely stay here again.

    5
    « Santa Maria Stay »

Aside from the sketchy neighborhood, the Best Western Plus Big America, Santa Maria, is very nice. The rooms are very large, with the biggest bathroom I have ever had in a hotel. The beds are comfortable and we didn't hear any noise. They could put some bigger refrigerators in the rooms, though. Don't count on bringing anything that needs to be refrigerated or frozen, there just isn't enough space. There isn't any green space to walk your dog on or near the property without walking in the neighborhood.

  • 2
    « Noisy/This Walls »

This Motel was noisy. The walls are thin and cars parked right outside the door makes for a more noisy experience. The room was clean, Motel staff was helpful, everything worked fine. I felt it was overpriced for the quality of the structure.

    5
« Must be brand new.... »

What a relief. After a long drive and last night staying in a random inn that was very poor I was slightly worried as this place was much cheaper. However, the room was excellent. Two very comfy beds with a nice bathroom. All very clean. I was very impressed. Especially with the price. Best Western is definitely the way forward. Thumbs up!!!

« Adventure at the Best Western »

Having read all the great reviews and being very impressed with the low price, I booked three rooms at this BW Plus for a family trip we were making with our two children and their families. I must preface by saying that I haven't stayed in a BW for many years now, as I am very allergic to cigarette smoke and have been staying at Marriott's and Holiday Inn's with 100% smoke-free hotels. I was happy to see that this BW also advertised itself as smoke-free, although when I walked into the lobby I could smell a hint of smoke. Maybe the staff smoked, don't know. When I had made my reservations, I specifically asked if their suites had separate sleeping areas for privacy and was assured that this was so. Upon arrival and check-in, I was really shocked to see that both queens were in one large room.... so back I ran to the lobby and explained my predicament. We also had asked for another adjoining room so that I could help out with the grandkids. Well, every other suite was taken so I had no choice but to get two separate rooms and far away from our other child's room with the grandkids.... I must say I was very upset by this time since we had driven for hours with kids in the car and weren't about to start looking for other hotels. Of course, we survived the night. I must say that the beds were extremely comfortable and my son was very happy with the playpen/crib they were given for the toddler to sleep in. He slept all night long! Breakfast was not bad, many hot things and even some organic ones!!! Yay! But the best part is to come. I received an email a few days later (we will still traveling) asking to rate my experience at this BW and I really blasted them with my unhappiness at the mix-up with rooms and having to pay for an extra room, etc. Very soon after, I received a call at home (I later heard it on my answering machine) and an email from a very nice gentleman,Mr. Max Tucker, general manager, who was eager to fix the problem. In the end, I received a credit for the extra room I had to pay for. I am extremely happy with the customer service from BW in this case. It really makes me believe that some companies really do care about their customers' experience. Thanks again BW and Mr. Tucker!

« Nice But Not Friendly »

The room was clean and comfortable and had a nice layout. The hotel lobby is beautiful. The breakfast was a nice feature and plenty of morning newspapers. The hotel staff lacked professionalism and friendliness.

    5
« WOW nice place to spend the night »

Clean, Friendly and comfortable. This is what you want in a over night stay. The property was amazing. I recommend it to my family and friends, Great location for the beach and the wine county. Remember the Hitching Post.

    « Hotel Rating »

When my itinerary includes Santa Maria, I always stay at BW+. Their adherence to high standards and excellent service serves there brand well. My wife and I have stayed at BW+ for the last 20 years when attending to business and visiting family and friends. A friendly and professional staff surely helps make one feel welcome and comfortable.

    « Nice hotel stay »

We rented a 2 room suite. The bed was very comfortable and there is a separate room for the TV and computer. The breakfast was included and was more than adequate. they must be doing it right since the hotel was pretty full. the only draw back was that they only have one elevator which is necessary to haul suitcases tothe second floor where we were.

    4
    « Very good stay »

We chose this hotel because it was cheaper than anything else we could find in the San Luis Obispo/Pismo Beach area and we were not disappointed. It is a motel style hotel but the room was nice. The room and bathroom were large and it was quiet and clean. I have no complaints about the bed. As an added bonus, the room included a mini-fridge and microwave. I would stay here again, though it is about 20 mins from Pismo Beach and 40 mins from San Luis Obispo.

    « Baseball Tournament »

Our Baseball team and families had a great stay! Friendly Staff from the Reception Staff to Cleaning Staff! All the Staff greeted us daily with a Smile during our six night stay! Clean rooms, Comfortable beds, Nice big bathroom with Vanity area for Wife! Boys enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi! Only negative, no laundry on site, but across the street was a laundry facility, so not bad! We would definitely recommend and would stay again!

« Convenient and recently renovated rooms »

We decided to stay here and to some rest before a long journey scheduled for the next day. The room was very nice and was recently renovated. The breakfast was good. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We did find the town itself a little rough. We traveled up and down broadway looking for some place to eat, but nothing seemed appealing. We ended up going next door to Francisco's country kitchen and were surprised to how nice it was inside as compared to the run down look on the outside. The food was outstanding, We highly recommend eating there. A good value too. We were unfortunate that a large group traveling together stayed at the same time we did and created a lot of noise with their drinking and socializing. To our surprise, the room kept most of the noise away. Our previous stay was in Palm Springs, so this was a little bit of a culture shock, but the staff and the hotel room made up for what was lacking.

    « Hotel »

The hotel was really nice, the staff...even nicer. The area, not one of my favorites, but cool for a local area. Lot's of great local mexican eateries and carcieneras. I was there to take a test. Im sure, the downtown area is worth exploribg further.

    5
« GREAT ALTERNITIVE TO PISMO AND SLO »

I have found that the prices in SLO and Pismo Beach are REALLY TOO HIGH for what you get. If you are willing to stay about 20 mins from Pismo and 25 from SLO, this is the place to stay. More bang for your buck. If you use this as a home base, there is plenty of things to do. The area is a little sketchy, but so is Pismo after dark.

    4
« Great hotel for the money »

Staff was great and the rooms were nice for the money. This was our first time in Santa Maria and the location was decent. The breakfast was average, cereal, waffles, breakfast burritos, biscuits and gravy.

    3
« Does not deserve the Plus in its name »

This is a poorly located old motel, below the Best Western standard. The room we got had a strong smell of bleach, and the wallpaper in the bathroom was falling off (I suspected presence of mold). We asked for another room but we didn't move because I detected odor of bleach there as well (I asked a neighbor to smell his room, and it didn't smell like bleach). Breakfast was OK, but not as good as at the excellent Best Western Plus we stayed at in Monterey.

    5
« Great Room, Great Service »

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Restaurants within close proximity of the hotel. Room very large in size and very comfortable. Large screen TV for family. Very quiet room with black-out window shades to keep out the light. Breakfast was great.

    5
    « Nice room »

Parking lot was full of work trucks. Almost didn't stay here. Decided we didn't want to drive further so we book a room. Pleasantly surprised by the large well furnished room. Had one of the best nights sleep in a hotel in a long time. Very quiet.

    4
    « Surprising! »

Booked this hotel sight unseen and was worried when we checked in as the room doors open right to the outside. Upon entering the room was clean, bathroom large and had everything we needed. The restaurant recommended next door was just ok, we didnt want to get back in the car and look elsewhere. The breakfast area in the lobby was great! Had everything we were looking for and the lady in the breakfast area was right on top of everything, everyone was friendly and if traveling in this area again, yes we would stay here again!!

    5
    « Business Trip »

We had booked 6 rooms in another hotel, We got to the hotel and they didn't have our rooms. I had 12 Employees standing there at 12 midnight. I was able to get them into BW Big America, Santa Maria. With no problems. This hotel is about an hour from our jobsite but we have chosen to cancel all rooms with the hotel 5 minutes from the jobsite and we are now using BW Big America in Santa Maria! Thank you

« Great stay and reasonably priced »

We enjoyed our one night stay. The bedding was comfy and the rooms recently remodeled. The pool was perfect temperature. Breakfast burritos were pretty good but not a fan of biscuits and gravy for breakfast. They have a wide variety of things to eat including freshly made waffles. The restaurant recommendation from the staff was awesome-Shaw's Steakhouse. The best steak my husband ever ate. Very good value - would stay here again.

« Nice Hotel for the Money »

We stayed at the Best Western Plus Big America in Santa Maria for 3 nights July 8-11, 2016. This hotel is clean and is a great value for your money. The free breakfast bar is pretty amazing. Great selection a the quality of food was excellent! We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

    « Dog Friendly, Quality & Comfort »

We have stayed at this hotel several times now and love it! The spacious rooms have quality finishes and amenities with comfortable beds and updated bedding. The bathroom suite is one of the nicest for a hotel in this price range! And, we love that it is dog friendly without the fees!

    5
    « Nice Place »

A very nice place to stay, easy to locate and close to the freeway and no noise from the street. A nice room and bed was great, pillows were very nice and they were not real soft. The room was very clean and fresh.

    4
« Not Perfect But Worth It »

Continental Breakfast is good-internet service is excellent-pool is decent, a bit small but very clean-staff is friendly but not very informative. Rooms are nice, beds very comfortable. Lots of mirrors in the room give the appearance of more space.

    5
    « Spacious »

I really liked this hotel. It had kitchen sink, microwave, and refrigerator. The bathroom was very spacious. Inside it, it included the closet and a vanity. That was a plus for me so I didn't have to go in and out of the bathroom to get dressed. I have added Best Western to my list of hotels which consisted of Hilton and Holiday Inn brands.

    5
    « Excellent Value »

Very nice hotel in a very nice area. Rooms and hotel very clean which is important to all of us. Breakfast was very good with an excellent attendant. Staff overall were wonderful. Excellent value for the price.

    3
« Good location, reasonable value »

Not our best experience. Room smelt musty, supplies hadn't been checked properly so no tissues in the bathrooom, broken light bulb over dressing table. Aircon very noisy. Fridge was unstable and tipped towards you as youopened the door. We stayed in several Best Westerns as part of this 2 week trip and this was the worst. On the plus side, the room (120) was quiet (apart from the aircon) and the beds were comfortable. Checkin staff were very good. Breakfast was excellent

Mr Basir at reception was very helpful in giving us the best rate, inf of the area & in general re future stays enroute to LA. The hotel was clean, comfortable with a good family size to accommodate 5 adults. We would go back.

    « Great value »

The rates were very high in San Luis Obispo for graduation. Although it was a 25 minute drive, the hotel was nice and a great rate. So if you aren't drinking in SLO, I would highly recommend it. Cheaper than the Motel 6 in Slo and much nicer. Breakfast is included and a nice perk. Clean and comfortable.

    « Very nice stay »

The room was clean and comfortable. There were full walls covered in mirrors, which was a little distracting at first. We really enjoyed the separate rooms in this suite. The staff were very friendly and helpful. When I asked for a restaurant recommendation, the gentleman at the front desk gave us a wonderful suggestion.

    « Well beyond expectations »

Never would my wife and I believe that we could have stayed at a Best Western and be wowed so far above our expectations!! The place was super clean, the room was absolutely wonderful with a super TV, A sitting room, a super large and comfortable bed, and a special well lit sitting place for my wife to put on her make-up and dry her hair. Everything worked with a very quiet air conditioner, and refrigerator. People were on both sides of us and above us and we could not hear them at all. The breakfast area was super clean and had what we wanted (coffee/tea/cereal/fruit/yogurts/waffles/fruit and juices). Checkout was easy and all the staff were super friendly, professional and helpful. I give this 6 out of 5 stars!!!!!

« One night stay on road trip »

Stayed at this hotel with my family on a road trip up to San Francisco. This hotel is old but it was a decent value (compared to others nearby) and our room was big. Breakfast was not good. Unlikely to come back and stay again on our next trip up North.

    « Great staff! »

This hotel has a fantastic staff. Everyone from Management on down can not seem to be helpful enough to you. The hotel has been going through a lot of upgrades, and through the stress of it all the staff has maintained there composure and professionalism. Great Job. See you next month!

« The nicest Best Western so far on our road trip! »

Looks new, smells new, large room, very nice bathroom, tons of wall outlets to charge your items and best of all, an elevator to the second level! If you drive the 101 in California, this is the place to stay!

This is a very nice hotel. As far as Best Western hotels are concerned, this is the best that we've stayed at. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. TV and wifi worked well. I would recommend this hotel

« More than met my expectations »

I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel was. One of the best bathrooms I've had in any Best Western. The staff was very nice and the morning breakfast was very good. The internet was easy to access and worked perfectly.

    « LOVE THE UPDATE »

Enjoyed our short stay. As always very friendly, courteous staff. Very comfortable beds! Missed Cleo, (the house kitty) but wish Cleo great treats and love on that side of the Rainbow Bridge. The extra room in the bathroom will be great for handicapped bathing, etc.

    « Two thumbs up! »

This Best Western in Santa Maria is a model of what reasonably priced hotels should strive for. Our stay started with the friendly staff and easy check in. Our room was perfect. At first we commented that it was a little bit small, until we explored the entire room. It was so efficiently laid out that the size was not an issue. A microwave, fridge, extra sink, and "dressing area" were welcome amenities. The room was spotless. Breakfast was a tad above standard fare...burritos, biscuits and gravy, boiled eggs, plus the usual fruit and cereal. All staff (breakfast, cleaners, and front desk) are very well trained. This hotel goes on our list of go-to lodging when traveling Hwy 101.

« Friendly and Happy Staff »

Every single employee was helpful, smiling and extremely friendly. I have never seen hotel staff so friendly. I encountered the maintenance staff, housecleaning staff, front desk staff and breakfast area staff during my stay and every single one of them were extremely friendly, smiling and you could see that they were actually happy to be working at the hotel.

« TOP OF THE LINE »

We chose this hotel for the family gathering, we will be staying again next month for a wedding. We especially liked the breakfast venue, the food is hot and well presented and the dining room is large. The guest rooms are beautiful and the friendliness of the staff was a plus.

« Nice, clean hotel; very friendly and helpful staff »

The Best Western Plus in Santa Maria is fairly average looking on the outside - but the cleanliness of the hotel and the rooms is way above average; ditto for the friendly and helpful staff. The complimentary breakfast is pretty standard for these types of hotels, but the food was fresh; and what was supposed to be hot was hot, and what was supposed to be cold was cold - that's not always a given with complimentary breakfasts. The price for the rooms was good as well - a little more than it used to be to qualify for that statement, but what hasn't gone up? To sum it up, we went in a group of about 30-35 people and all in all, I think the Best Western Plus in Santa Maria was a solid hit for everyone.

    « Pets Welcome Here »

We especially appreciate not being charged extra for our pet :) Everywhere else makes a big fuss when we bring our puggle, Duke. Also, the Handicap access bathroom is the best of any motel. Thank you Best Western:)

    « Very nice stay »

Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was much better than any other motel we visited during our trip to California. We will definitely try Best Western again next time! Nice, large room. very clean and tidy. We can recommend Best Western, both for families and couples.

« Wonderful hotel in Santa Maria! »

I stayed at this hotel for two nights and was pleasantly surprised since I knew nothing about it. First of all, the staff is absolutely wonderful! They were very kind, helpful and compassionate. That really stands out in my mind and I think it's very important to have great employees like these people were. My room was very clean and big. It had a microwave, refrigerator and a small sink that was handy. The bathroom was large even having a dressing table with a pretty bench and mirrors so I could sit down and dry my hair and put my makeup on. I've never seen that before in any hotel I've stayed in. My bed was very comfortable and the linens were nice. The only recommendation I would have is to ask for a room near the back of the hotel if you are sensitive (like I am) to noise and are a light sleeper. If I ever stay in Santa Maria again, I will definitely stay here.

    « Excellent Stay! »

This is a wonderful hotel to stay in! The room we had was very nice! The room was huge and the bed was super comfortable! The pool was nice and warm and cleaned very well! The breakfast area was huge and lots of great chooses there ! The staff is very friendly and everyone says hello to you:) There was no road noise so that is a huge bonus ! I would highly recommend any of my family or friends to stay here for sure! No complaints from us for sure :)

Have stayed here on numerous occasions. Staff is friendly, efficient and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast has a variety of food selections that will get you on your way. Eating area is kept filled and clean with ample seating. This property has easy access to HWY 101 and is a perfect stop whether you are visiting the Central Coast beaches or traveling the wine trails.

« Comfy stop in Santa Maria. »

This is a good-sized Best Western, on the main drag in Santa Maria. The desk staff is friendly and efficient. Nice decor. My room was quite large, with a sizable dressing/bathroom area, including a separate vanity and large closet. There's a desk, fridge, microwave, and armchair. It would be easy to stay a couple of weeks in such a well-appointed room. Very comfortable bed. Good breakfast buffet.

Our 2nd stay here. Great place great staff. Dog friendly at no extra charge. Got home and realized we had left something in our room. Called and spoke with Teresa. She got on it right away. Found item, called me back and it was on its way home the next day. Met the manager Max while we were there. Very nice. Called to let him know how happy we were with staff and he made sure to let us know how many people involved. Asked to extend our kudos to every one of them. We will definitely keep staying there as we go thru that area. I highly recommend it.

« A nice place to stay for a reasonable price »

Santa Maria is a town that has good and bad parts and therefore security is a concern. The Best Western Plus in Santa Maria is U-shaped and had ample parking. It does not look run down so it has curb appeal. The front lobby has a professional look complete with piano and lounging areas. The room was clean and the bathroom area was very large; it included its own vanity area. The room had a refrigerator and a coffee maker. The free breakfast is a big plus since it saves you from spending money at a separate restaurant. The breakfast includes plenty of food including waffles. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this location when requiring a room in Santa Maria.

    5

« Best Western Santa Maria »

Clean rooms, decent breakfast. Good service from all the cleaning and breakfast service staff. An additional room was opened next to the breakfast service to accommodate the extra patrons. The room still had boxes of Easter decorations piled on one table. The room needed more dusting and cleaning. Overall the hotel and grounds were clean, area was safe and rooms were quiet. Large variety of restaurants within easy driving distance.

    « Dissapointing »

We stayed here 2 nights. Our decision to stay her was based on other locations. First things first, the staff was outstanding and went out of their way to explain or do something to make or stay enjoyable. With that said the advertisement states Complimentary Breakfast. To me a breakfast has some eggs, maybe bacon or sausage. This one had none. It did have watery oatmeal, dried out biscuits, floury gravy that had a crust, and a burrito that was filled with mostly hard potatoes. My wife need something Gluten Free, ( which usually is eggs and bacon, but settled for yogurt and watery oatmeal. The wifi was so slow that most times our cell phones could not access and an ipad and laptop were useless. If you are a person in need of wifi, not here. I had to unplug the refrigerator because of fan noise. I had to readjust toilet to stop running after use. Would we stay here again NO.

« Nice rest hotel to rest »

After a long driving day, it was a very nice and clean stay, before continuing driving from LA to San Francisco. Rooms were very clean, beds were confortable, and it included a small breakfast. Probably would stay again if I do the same route.

    « Awesome Customer Service »

I highly recommend this Best Western Plus! The staff are friendly, customer service orientated, patient, and will go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied!!! I love how they treat everyone. Staff makes sure you have everything you need and the rooms are very well kept. The beds are very comfortable and the pillows are perfect. If you have a need, they don't hesitate to stop what they are currently doing and make sure you are taken care of when you ask for help! They are an awesome group of people who really love what they do!!

    « Overall great....if you don't need a fast internet connection. »

We selected this hotel because we were traveling with a small dog and this establishment is pet friendly. We were very pleased with the rooms which were clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. The free breakfast offerings were satisfactory and met our needs. However, the free "High speed internet" was not high speed at all. It was sufficient to check emails on a smartphone but my laptop was only able to access the internet for one brief period of time. When I finally got online I ran a speed test and it confirmed a download speed comparable to a dial-up connection. I have never-- and I mean NEVER ...had difficulty like this at any hotel before. I tried both the in room wifi and the lobby wifi with the same results. I would definitely stay here again except when internet access is critical for me.

    4
    « Friendliness and Service »

These folks give you the type of service and concern that you might think of if they were family! :) We have stayed here several times and have tried out other pet-friendly hotels in the area. This is our preference, no contest. The rooms are quiet, the beds are good, and the staff is caring. What more would you want?

« Better hotel right down the street »

As a BW rewards Diamond status customer, I always try to book the nearest BW to where I will be working in the field which is what brought me to the hotel to begin with. The hotel advertised High speed internet which they absolutely did not have and full breakfast which was poor to be kind about it, disgusting if want the truth as I tasted it. I had a much better experience a 1/4 mile down the road at a competing hotel that will definitely have my business if and when I return.

« Short visit in Santa Maria, Calif. »

Hotel appeared fine from outside but once inside I experienced a little different impression. In the lobby next to the check in counter the lobby had a piano and a piano player entertaining the guests. The only problem was she was so close to the check in desk and so loud it made it difficult to talk with the person at the check in counter. I would recommend they move the piano. My room on the first floor was near the pool and the foot traffic going by the room was noisy. The room it self was only average and I felt well over priced for what I got. I would not stay there again on weekend mainly due to the crowd. The breakfast was mediocre and extremely crowded even though I went early I do not think the hotel was prepared for full house this early in the tourist season. Part of the breakfast was under remodel and there was absolutely no seating available for the large breakfast crowd. Check in and check out were very easy although there was a piano player playing a piano very close to check in desk which made it very difficult to talk with the receptionist. Overall, I was disappointed with my stay and probably will stay there again. If I had to, it definitely will not be on a weekend.

« Best (Plus) Hotel chain is consistent »

I lik Best Western over other major chains - individually owned and FLAGGED by BW with support and accountability to the consumer. This property was in the center of town, convenient to shopping and restaurants. SECURITY was excellent and that makes a difference at my age. By the way... VOTE TRUMP!

I was happy to find a room at this hotel. my trip was last minute that I booked my room at 10pm and arrived 2 hours later. the gentleman that helped me out over the phone was helpful. The hotel was clean and plenty of parking. the room was perfect for my stay.. I will be returning again.

« About middle of the pack »

An OK experience. The facility is like most motels, although the room seemed larger than some. Did notice an unusual configuration - the closet is in the bathroom. The "full hot breakfast" had two hot items besides the make your own waffle - biscuits and gravy or paper wrapped [small] burrito. This term "full hot" to us, typically means some kind of egg [scrambled or omelets] and a meat dish [bacon/sausage]. There were pastries and cereals, two juices and, of course some fruit. All this in a crowded space.

« Best Western Plus Big America is the Best »

Our fifth trip to this hotel and we love it and the management and the people who work there. We come up to Santa Maria every year for an American Legion department Executive Committee meeting and after a long day of meeting this hotel is sure a welcome sight when we get through with the day's work.

    « BW + BA »

Many years, repeated stays; preferred over other local choices; even though they were more expensive they were not any better. Early breakfast for early office start. Coffee, tea and fruit available all hours in lobby. Quiet, even next to Broadway (the main street through town). Many newspapers each AM in lobby. Good parking. Very close to good restaurants, and to US Hwy 101.

    « Very comfortable hotel »

We have stayed at this Best Western in Santa Maria twice and really like it. The rooms are a nice size and I love the larger bathroom with a vanity table in it. The price is very reasonable too. We did not eat the breakfast this time, but have in the past and it is very good. The people at the front desk are very helpful also.

    « relaxing and friendly »

    « Hotel upgrade »

The Hotel has been upgraded since our last visit in October 2015. New furniture, lamps with i-phone chargers ports and new mattress. Our room still had two old chairs that are low and uncomfortable. The check in and breakfast area were completely renovated. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We have stayed at this hotel many nights.

The staff at this Best Western is very cordial and helpful. Love staying here. Very Clean and the Breakfast was great. We have a small Dog and they are dog friendly and loved that. Was able to take her with us. The hotel was very nice and not only on the inside but also outside as well. The lobby was just beautiful. Will go back for sure.

    2
    « One & Done »

Unfortunately, I can't recommend anything about this property except the front desk staff. Lousy area, lamps in room missing bulbs. Slow internet. The "clean" remote had gunk on it. Breakfast was underwhelming and at this price it's a "one & done".....won't do it again.

    5
« Best in its price range »

Good value and extremely helpful front desk. We were there for a dog show 3 blocks away, so the location was perfect. We don't believe in fresh sheets every day, a waste of water. The maids were happy to let us turn in dirty towels for clean ones and left us alone. We value our privacy.

« Nice hotel, great value! »

Nice amenities, clean, newer and comfortable! We also found Best Western to be very quiet for a weekend even with full occupancy! Spacious room with beautiful large bathroom. Staff at front desk and breakfast room were very helpful and friendly! Good variety at breakfast, including breakfast burritos, biscuits and gravy, waffles, fruit, bagels, yogurt, hot oatmeal, etc. We especially LOVE that this hotel accepts our dogs without charging a fortune in fees! Thanks Best Western Plus!!!

    « Excellent deal! »

We loved the room so much we stayed an extra night. We received an upgraded room with a huge bathroom/sink area. The king-sized bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The breakfast had burritos instead of the usual eggs. Great value for your money!

« Wonderful stay, concierge cat! »

Wanted a hotel for a quick overnighter on the way up the coast, and this Best Western fit the bill to a "T." Lobby area is welcoming and immaculate with well-kept furniture. Check in was quick and painless, desk clerk friendly and helpful. Ability to park right in front of your room made load-in a snap. Room was large, clean and comfortable. Mini-fridge, micro and coffee maker are always extra touches that are appreciated. Beds were spotless and comfy with adequate number of pillows. There was a HUGE separate bathroom area, including a vanity mirror and bench and a full-size closet. The bathtub was terrific...it was large, with a curved shower curtain rod, good water pressure, a little shelf on which to set a cup of coffee or something and a nice, sturdy safety bar that made my mom, who is a bit on the older side, feel secure getting in and out. Breakfast was great with a wide selection of choices and helpful staff. Used the business center in the lobby area and everything worked great (computer, printer, etc.). Didn't get a chance to try the wifi, but nice that it is offered free. Wish we'd had time to use the pool and hot tub, because we popped in to take a look and, when I dipped my hand in, the pool was actually heated as advertised and the jacuzzi looked like it would've been wonderful. Also has handicapped equipment to help guests with disabilities enjoy the pool. We especially enjoyed meeting Cleo, the adorable resident cat! He met us at the front door of the lobby when we were checking in and even followed us to our room and escorted us in as we were loading in our luggage! We let him hang out for a while until we were leaving for dinner at the little restaurant next door. Maybe he just knows cat people when he sees them, but it was a treat to have him visit off and on throughout our stay, and he also showed up to see us off as we were checking out! Excellent value for the price point. Definitely recommend this hotel and will gladly stay here again when we are in need of a halfway point between LA and SF.

    4
    « Comfortable »

The location was ideal for us as it was meant to be a one night stopover enroute from Monterey to LA. We chose a family room to accommodate all of us and the bags. Free wifi was very useful and breakfast the next morning was simple yet filling. Burritos ran out very quickly which was a shame. Check-in and check-out was hassle free. The building looks a tad old which is not a very big issue.

    4
« Very comfortable in Sant Maria »

This property is very well run and maintained. My room was huge for the price and very comfortable. I thought the price was higher for the town, but on arrival found many more hotels than I expected, so this is a more popular destination that I expected. Breakfast was the normal menu, but this morning the oatmeal cooker turned itself off somehow leaving me with cold oatmeal - which I survived. Everything else either met or surpassed my expectations and I would gladly return.

    « The Best Night's Sleep »

I was pleasantly surprised at just how nice and comfortable this hotel is. I'm a Best Western rewards member, so I have stayed in many of these hotels. I have come to expect a good stay, and this establishment did not disappoint. In fact, it far exceeded my expectations. The lobby was lovely, decorated beautifully for Christmas. The front desk staff was friendly and informative. They explained morning breakfast, asked if I need any directions, and explained that renovations were going on. However they gave us a room so far from any work that had they not told me, I never would have known. The room was large, (king size bed) had a huge bathroom with a separate commode, dressing table and mirror, and a nicely appointed shower/tub. The bed linen was clean, fresh and excellent thread count. There was a bar sink, refrigerator, microwave, and table and chairs. The room was quiet, comfortable and I felt extremely safe. I slept soundly, had a great shower and was completely refreshed. The breakfast was great. Many choices for hot entrées (waffles, biscuits & gravy, eggs) or cold cereals, rolls, juice, and fruit. The coffee was great with real half n half. This was a great overnight stay on my way up the California coast. I'd stay here again. It was a great value!

    4
    « Good size rooms »

The rooms are clean and good sized. My wife really liked the bathroom set up. The breakfast is an expanded continental one but adequate. There is no elevator so, should you need such, be sure to ask for a ground floor room.

    « Clean and Comfortable »

Nice rooms - we had two rooms for a total of seven people. Comfortable beds, very clean. Breakfast wasn't too imaginative, but it was good. We were very pleased and would stay again. Neighborhood was a little dicey, but all was quiet and we felt safe.

    4
« Very good, with one drawback »

I'll get to the heart of the matter right away: the hotel says it's completely smoke free, but that really isn't the case. When we opened the door to our room, there was a moderate smell of cigarettes. After about a half hour, I got used to the smell and didn't notice it anymore. This could be related to the fact that the carpet in the room was grimy; you could see a dirt trail leading in the room through the door. So I think if they gave the carpet a thorough shampooing, that would take care of both problems. This was one of the named rooms; we had the Florida room. It was very roomy, and the bathroom was exceptional. The toilet is in its own little room, the sink and bath are both big, and there's even a separate vanity mirror, counter, and chair in another corner. Posh. They have a nice breakfast, with breakfast burritos (the day we were there) and waffle irons. When driving to LA from San Jose, we like to take the first leg in the evening after work; this is a good stopping point. We'll probably stay here again, and hope (and ask) for a different room.

    4
    « Clean and comfy »

We stopped at the best western for a few days rest during our California tour. The hotel was clean and tidy. A nice heated pool was a bonus. Breakfast was ok and the staff were friendly and helpful. Just a short drive to the local beach.

« Excellent stop over option for business, or personal »

I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel by referral of a business I was assisting (this was a partner hotel of theirs). Very happy with the choice! Was given a room with 2 queen beds (on my request). Good sized room, fairly current furnishings, sizeable bath, with 2 counters (1 with sink; 1 for makeup). Take care, bath water temp is easily scorching hot. Mini kitchenette in corner of front with with sink, micro and mini fridge; and table and two sitting chairs, the latter which rolled to other preferred positions easily. Breakfast included with reservation, and went from waffles to cold cereal, bagels and cream cheese, juice, coffee, fruit, etc. Apparently pets (responsibly managed of course) are allowed on this property as owners are big pet fans as per the front desk personnel. Hotel even includes a resident cat in the office area. :) Easy and plenty of parking options in the center (including if you pull in late, plenty of light), while hotel itself wraps around in u-fashion the lot. Would certainly stay here again!

    « Stay away. »

We were looking for something inexpensive but clean for a short stay after a long drive. This was not it. The room looked nice enough at first but didn't quite pan out. The bed was horribly uncomfortable and the pillows lumpy. The chair in the room had rips in the arms of the upholstery. The bedside lamps bulb was broken and hanging by a filament . The shower curtain rod was coming out of the wall and there were douche packets left on top of one of the shelves. The walls were so thin I could hear the entire conversation of the couple above us in the bathroom as well as the sounds of evacuating bowels. If you still decide to stay here please refrain from eating any of the hot breakfast items and stick to the cereal and bread. The eggs were weird foamy disks, the bacon so thin you could see through it and the potatoes weren't cooked all the way. Just keep driving until you find something better.

    « Very Nice Stay!! »

I was in Santa Maria for a Memorial Service and stayed here for 1 night. The area looks pretty bad but if you come in off of the freeway, you miss all of that. The entrance and the grounds are kept very nice and the parking area was very clean. The Lobby is really nice along with the staff. Every member of the staff that I interacted with were very nice and friendly. Room was Fantastic, very clean and the bed was really comfortable. We had a pretty emotional day, but Best Western made it our night very comfortable. We got up in the morning and had a breakfast burrito, coffee and biscuits and gravy. It was really good. The woman at the counter for checkout topped off the stay making it an Excellent Stay.

« Have seen better Best Westerns »

Was looking for a place to crash on thanksgiving weekend and this was the only one that had vacancy near the Pismo beach area within the price range for us. Beds were good. Nice LED TV. Closet was inside the bath-area!!!! And another weird thing noticed was toilet was separate from the bathtub area!!!! Had a mini fridge and microwave and a small kitchen sink. This was very helpful to warm snacks and store them. Ample parking was available. Breakfast was ok with bagel/burrito/waffle/biscuit/oats/egg/coffee/juice/

    4
    « Good one »

The hotel is conveniently located not too far from the freeway. The lobby looked great with big beautiful chandeliers. The room was quite comfortable, the one that we stayed had a queen bed and a pull-out in two separate rooms with a TV in each room. Our room had a microwave and mini-fridge along with a single-cup coffee maker. The bathroom was well organized and spacious. It is a good one for a quick overnight stay. It is along the main road and there are quite a few businesses like supermarkets and restaurants that are accessible. Breakfast was good with good choices of items. Wi-Fi was good but seemed a little compared with the other hotels that we have stayed.

    4
    « Good stay »

This hotel is nothing special, but nothing bad at the same time. Stayed two days the past weekend with my family and the room was clean and tidy. The furniture was a bit dated, but it was still good enough for us. We had a room away from the street so not too much noise. The breakfast was ok, but can't get too picky on a free breakfast.

« There are better choices »

I am extremely loyal to the Best Western brand and generally I am satisfied with their properties 90% of the time. Unfortunately, this property falls into the bottom 10%. Property looks a bit tired. Overall, there are better choices in Santa Maria than this hotel. Sorry, Best Western.

The beds were wonderful. We had 2 connecting rooms and everyone had a great nights sleep. Plenty of towels for the bath and enjoying the hot tub. The breakfast waffles were wonderful with hard boiled eggs available for protein. Just don't eat the cookies served in the evening.

« dated, smelly, poor service, good breakfast »

Dated and smelly rooms, poor service (arrived at 9 pm with two young sleepy children and had problem with door lock, were offered a full refund instead of any help). Very disappointing. Good breakfast with waffles, cooked eggs and cereal and yogurt.

It was a pleasure staying at this property. My husband that travels a lot, said the best beds he has slept in a long while. Would definitely stay here again. Staff were wonderful, very friendly and pleasant.

Best Best Western on 101 between Los Angeles and San Jose. Santa Maria location just south of Pismo Beach a sleeper. Everything in this hotel is first rate. Have stayed at most of the other BW's along the 101 and this is really the best one.

    « Not as Promised »

Your own website ad for Santa Maria PLUS Big America offered a full, complete breakfast. It was only an express with no cooked eggs or meat, etc. That is why we paid more and went with this hotel as we were there for 3 nites. Carpets were very dirty in room and sink backed up. Very noisy from street. Would not stay here again and feel we are owed money for not receiving what your own ad promised.

we have stayed at best western in the past for family outings. i travel for company work. they don't usually put us in best western and use others because of price. i'm going to ask if we can use the best western for rooms when away for business. i feel secure, and the rooms are much nicer and cleaner.

    « Good but dated »

Several other reviewers have used "dated" to describe this property. It's an appropriate term. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall the grounds were clean and well kept, though the area in which this Best Western is located is several blocks away from the newer shopping areas. The bed (a king) was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. But, the carpet was in bad shape--very worn and needs to be replaced. I'm assuming that the musty odor that greeted us on entry eminated from the carpet. The mirrors on the walls may have been hip at one time, but they should also go. I was told the property is in the process of remodeling rooms but apparently had not gotten to mine yet. I honestly can't see why this was the #1 rated hotel in Santa Maria.

« Outdated, smelly, waaay below Best Western standards »

Stayed here last Thursday night. I'm shocked at so many good reviews; I was at a different hotel. My room had a bad smell, dirty bathroom, very mish-mash outdated decor, threadbare sheets, and uneven floors. Perhaps some of the rooms positively evaluated here have been recently updated, but then why am I paying the same price for a lesser quality room? I don't think it speaks well of management integrity when this happens. Be careful and make sure to ask for a newly renovated room, or a discount if you end up in an old room like I did. Trust me: you'll know immediately which one you're in.

We stayed in a Best Western in city of Santa Maria, Ca. The room was decorated nicely. Had little frig, coffee maker & microwave oven! All these items were positioned efficiently. The best part for me, since i traveled with my adult son & daughter, was the bathroom. There was a separate door to the toilet! YES! The tub, sink & closet was in like a dressing area. This dressing area even had a separate mirror and seat in front of the mirror. This made it easy for all of us to dress without haggling for the sink area. Breakfast was a real treat too.

    « Good value hotel »

Stayed 2 nights and great value for the $$$. Clean room with all the necessaries. Great staff,Quentin is the greatest as well as the AM office lady! Didn't use the pool or spa as it was raining. 10 min to Jocko's and 5 minutes to Shaw's for dinner, And they have the house cat!

    « 3 star Rating »

There is no way this place is deserving of a 3 star rating. I have stayed at other Best Western Plus hotels and this is by far the most outdated one I have stayed in. There is even a large mirror on one of the walls, which gives the appearance of a place that charges by the hour.

Pretty much what I expected. BW rewards program needs some doctoring. I do not want to add additional words to my review. However, I am adding additional words so I can get out of this screen and move on. This has become annoying and I will probably not make any other reviews in the future and, yes when I call Best Western next I will pass on my sentiments. !

« Not the best, but very close! »

Stayed here 3 nights and was very happy with the room and the service. Has a very large separate bathroom with a sink which is separate from the personal vanity table. Has another separate toilet area with it's own door and the tub/shower area was nice and big. The room had a king bed that was very comfortable and also had a refrigerator and a couch/table/chair area. This place was very nice and well kept and the continental breakfast was hard to beat. They had all the normal stuff and even some I haven't seen before. Like breakfast burritos. Well worth your visit and a better value than other places in town.
