    « Dissappointed »

On a business trip with expectations of amentities on site only to find the hotel was under construction and the pool, bar and restaurant were all closed. In addition, the business center was unable to assist me with completion of tasks as I could not access the internet or print. In addition, my bathroom ceiling flooded during my stay, though, maintenance was not available to assist me at that time as it was after 9 pm. The shuttle did not run past 9 pm and without a restaurant on site I had to travel for dinner. Overall, the room cleanliness was poor, with pet hair along the walls/carpet. I could go on, but overall just a poor experience.

    « Saint Paul's Best »

Excellent hotel located right next to Capitol. Our room had a breath taking view of beautiful Basilica of St Josephat. Bonus is the free shuttle to local attractions & restaurants. Great location to explore all of St Paul.

    « Frustrated with Non-Notification of Construction »

Pool was closed. Had a 3-year old. Was not notified prior to check-in and construction was planned. A/C didn't work correctly, was 85 Degrees in the room at one point. Temperature fluctuated from cold to hot on faucets on their own.

« AMAZING, even better than last year! »

I love this hotel. The staff is AMAZING, the location is great for the TC Medtronic race weekend, the rooms are wonderful. I felt very well taken care of. This was my second stay, and I have already booked my next. I am so happy I came across this beautiful little gem.

« Staff made up for missing amenities »

Best Western Plus Capitol Ridge was under going serious construction when we stayed. However, we hosted our wedding block here, and we couldn't have been happier! The manager went above and beyond, as did all his front desk staff. Housekeeping was very courteous and cheerful. We felt welcomed and well taken care of. Renting a shuttle through them was also easy, convenient, and the driver was very pleasant.

    « excellent in transition »

The staff was excellent in handling the remodeling in the lobby area as we checked in. They were very courteous and gave us a summary of the work being done. The rooms were spotless and the beds were delightfully comfortable. It was a great choice to stay.

    « Megs B-Day Bash »

Great place to stay. Central to the airport the metro, sports events, sight seeing. Helpful and friendly staff. In town to celebrate my daughter's birthday with her wife and good friend and to see Blake Shelton. Awesome concert - awesome time at Mall of America, trip down the Mississippi and seeing the beautiful country side so lush and green.

« Great, and will be even better after construction »

Starting with the location- it's a pretty great location. You can see the stunning Cathedral of St Paul (not to be confused with the capitol building) from the south side of the hotel. You're right next to the interstate, which was a good thing since it can't be heard from inside the hotel and it makes for easy travel. The construction on the exterior and our room was clearly already completed. It looks very sleek from the outside and the room was very nice. The lady who checked us in was extremely friendly and the rest of the staff was pretty friendly as well. The lobby was still under construction when we went, so it looked pretty rundown, but once we got to our room, we never could have known it was under construction. We were on the second floor on the north side of the hotel, which has the worst view in the entire hotel (a metal wall of sorts), so if you care about view, request not to have that area. Once construction is completed the hotel restaurant will be serving free hot breakfast, which will be nice. As for the breakfast they served when we were there - it was good enough. Eggs, bacon, and pancakes were the hot options, along with the typical non-hot items. Free parking was also a great perk. You can (safely) walk to downtown from there, although you do go through a part of downtown briefly that has some homeless and 'street' people. So, if you're afraid to say no to a person asking for money or you're alone, just drive. Only other things worth while mentioning are that there was a fridge and microwave in the room and that the shower is a walk in shower with no tub. Otherwise, the room was a nice, typical, clean room.

« Under construction. Worn, smelly room. »

I booked this hotel based on price and location. Come to find out, upon arrival, that the hotel is under construction and the water would be shut off from midnight until 4 am. They did not get the water turned back on until closer to 6 am, preventing me from taking a hot shower prior to my business meeting and day of travel. When I called the front desk to speak to a manager I was told he would call me back. Two weeks later and I've never heard from them. The room very worn with stains in the bathroom and cigarette stink on the walls. I'm traveling back to St Paul at the end of this month and definitely will not be staying at this hotel. Very poor customer service.

    « MN vacay »

Overall, the hotel was servicible. However, the room is small and the decor needs to be updated. Plus, there needs to be more options for setting up a work stating and for ability to plug in devices to use or charge.

« My reservation was cancelled by the hotel 2 days before our expected arrival »

My husband and I plus another couple were booked here to celebrate 2 birthdays in the group. We had dinner reservations and tickets to the Ordway Theatre. Made all of our arrangement only to be emailed 2 days ahead of the event to say the hotel was overbooked and our reservations were no longer valid. Will not recommend this hotel. Very disappointed. We ended up staying in MPls as there no longer were rooms in St. PAul of which were affordable.

    « Never Again »

First off, the hotel was under construction and the bar/lounge/restaurant was not open. We waited for 50 minutes for the shuttle service and called 3 separate times. They never communicated with the driver we were waiting, then had shift change and still nobody told the driver. We really enjoyed Alex as our driver, but we are sad that he works for a company like this. I'll give him 5 stars, other than that you get one star.

    1
    « Overbooking »

We are extremely disappointed, we booked a reservation on 8-4 through trip advisor for the night of 8-9. On 8-7 (we get an email, not a phone call which if traveling not everyone has access to email) telling us the hotel was over booked and we no longer have a place to stay, they were willing to re-book us in a hotel quite far away, which defeats the purpose of booking so close to our venue. We had to cancel our arranged transportation as well as other arrangements made for that evening which was very time consuming and put us in a horrible position!! They were irresponsible in their professional commitment to trusting customers, and do you really think I would allow them to re-book us a room after the above stated??? It was very upsetting to us, I can't imagine if we trusted them to arrange flight/hotel and transportation for us and have this happen. Use this site with caution!! We were told that this hotel did NOT tell them of the situation despite stating in contact with trip advisor!

    « Under Major Construction! »

You would think a hotel chain as large as Best Western would indicate on their website that a hotel is under massive renovations. There was no lobby, no restaurant, and barely a reception desk. Hotel rooms are dirty, outdated, smell old, have low ceilings, and bathrooms feel like you are in a small camper, and not a nice one. We had to switch rooms because of a leaking fridge with food in it - Yuck!

« Nicest people in a hotel ever »

John, the shuttle driver and Deanna, the front desk person, and both of the people manning the breakfast room were some of the kindest people I have ever encountered in a hotel/motel. When I called to see if I could store my luggage there (our train arrived way earlier than check in time), they immediately sent the shuttle. When John arrive we were greeted as if we were family, treated as if we were family, while John went above and beyond to help us get an idea of what we were going to plan for our family during our short stay in St. Paul. When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted with kindness and given access to our room early since one was available. I asked if they thought that coffee might perhaps still be available at the breakfast room and we were sent up there to take that chance. As it turns out, the young man up there made sure that we had access to breads, muffins, pancakes, juices, yogurts, and the beloved COFFEE! We were so thankful. The kindness extended when the John offered to shuttle us to one of the local attractions that was inexpensive and then agreed to come in a few minutes early the next day to get us to our train on time. What a fabulous experience... Because of the hospitality, I barely even notices the construction.

    « Excellent »

Always a great stay, great staff, and getting better with the hotel improvements. A beautiful walk from the hotel to downtown St Paul. Not to far away from MOA. Shuttle service to Shriner's hospital and around St Paul. We always stay here.

    « Good value & location »

Nice place to stay. It was pet friendly and the staff was nice overall. It is undergoing renovation but they kept the noise away. Clean rooms, good food. No complaints. It is in a good location. I would ask for an upper floor.

    4
    « Above Average »

My stay experience was above average, was not the most fancy hotel but a great deal and well worth the money. Guest service was about average, nothing too complicated. Same service you get at any friendly retail store. Besides the line of wait at check in, the check out process was less than 5 seconds, they asked for our name, room number, and key cards and we were out. I would return to this hotel in the near future for other trips.

    5
    « Short Review »

We chose this BW due to its proximity to the Amtrak train station. One problem was no van service because it was the 3rd of July. But breakfast was excellent, especially the chocolate chips and pancakes.

  • 4
    « A nice place to stay. »

The hotel was under construction so that part of it was not that great, but the breakfast and everything else was worthwhile! The staff were friendly, the amenities were nice, and it was close enough to downtown!

    4
    « Don't mind the construction... »

Nice room, great breakfast staff, good protein options for breakfast (eggs, almond milk, Greek yogurt, bananas, etc), and right of I-94. It was a good stay for business purposes. Only problem is I could not get the printer to work in business center/fitness room.

    3
    « Under Construction »

OK for under construction but water temperature did not remain constant. Noise from construction occurred periodically. Only three days was ok. And the scrabbled eggs are reconstituted instead of real eggs.

    4
« Nice Room, Friendly Staff »

I picked this hotel because of its proximity to the State Capitol and was not disappointed. The staff was very friendly and willing to help and the room was clean with (woo hoo!) comfortable pillows! Bathroom was a little small, the overall a good hotel experience.

    3
    « Under construction »

It would have been nice if the website had indicated that the property was under construction. I don't think I would've stayed here had I known this. I was counting on using the on-site restaurant after check-in, but come to find out there is no restaurant while the remodel is taking place. Had to order take out, with limited options.

    4
« Comfortable Place to Stay »

We stayed here one night before we planned to board the train in St. Paul the next day. The location was fairly close to the station and they provided a shuttle. Unfortunately, the shuttle didn't show up the morning we were leaving, but an on-the-ball clerk called a taxi (free to us) and we made it to our train before it left. The hotel is being renovated, but we did not experience any noise at all while we were there. We enjoyed the cute Western Sculpture Garden nearby.

    1
    « Construction Nightmare! »

We stayed here to attend a Wild hockey game. The hotel did not tell me it was under construction at booking. It was so loud, we couldn't even hear the TV! The noise began around 6:00 am! We paid $170 to stay for 1 sleepless night! Because of this experience & a waste of money- I would never return here.

    4
« Great staff, nice hotel »

The staff was great. Very kind and helpful. Hotel was under renovation, which did not impact our stay in any way. The appearance of the hotel will only improve the look of the hotel. The staff did not seem to need improvement.

    2
    « Distracting Construction »

This was a relatively adequate hotel, with friendly, helpful staff and a couple of nice amenities ? in particular, a shuttle service which will drop you off and pick you up in the nearby downtown areas within a 10 minute drive or so. The pool was nice and sizable, and seemed clean and well-kept. The room was decent - bed was fine, but the bathroom was a bit iffy - seemed outdated, with a decent-sized hole around the showerhead. My main gripe here was that they were in the middle of a major (re)construction, during which they are remaining open. The main entrance was closed, which made accessing the place was a minor inconvenience (and hard for our Uber drivers/food delivery to locate). More importantly, walking through the lobby on a couple of occasions, the air seemed dusty and filled with some debris and gave me some coughing fits. I understand construction is necessary at times, but better efforts to keep the main areas clear should have been taken. There was no indication whatsoever on their website that the construction was ongoing. And I really don't feel as if the price we paid reflected any kind of discount on their base rate whatsoever, which I think might be warranted given the ongoing construction.

    « Construction Disaster Area »

Would not even consider returning to this hotel until all construction and renovations of the exterior and interior are completed. The exterior was surrounded with scaffolding, entrance was difficult to locate, lobby is under construction, restaurant was closed for renovation. Rooms are tired, old broken in mattresses with big sags in the middle. Only great thing was the view of the cathedral from my window. Don

    « Wonderful Experience! »

After many stays at the Embassy Suites downtown St. Paul, one stay with the new Best Western Plus was amazing!!! I thought the experience would be less than the Embassy Suites, however; it was much better even with the remodeling going on. We just loved it, very kid friendly as well. Anita

    4
« Running right during construction »

Hotel I knew from before, undergoing quite a lot of renovation so there is construction equipment, sheets of heavy plastic etc. The hotel and rooms were perfectly clean, staff was friendly, on top of all their work. Very well run.

    5
    « Minnesota Youth Trip »

Our stay was AWESOME. We really enjoyed ourselves. We loved the Pool and Hot Tub. There was a great scene of the Cathedral and It was close to our meeting place. The Beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very clean. The Staff were Nice and Helpful. We enjoyed the Breakfast and Internet. Should we return, we would stay here again.

    « Changes are coming »

We have stayed at this hotel before. The rates are comparable of other hotels in the area. Our primary reason for staying at this location is the convenience to the XCEL Energy Center. We take the shuttle to XCEL, and then walk back to the hotel when the concert is over. The walk is only about 8 blocks, and gives us a chance to get some fresh air. The hotel also offers free shuttle service to other sites in the area. The hotel was somewhat dated, but they are in the process of doing some major remodeling inside and out. I look forward to see the future changes. We have always experienced clean rooms, friendly staff, and always a good experience at check-in, and checking out. The front desk has always been a help with questions, and information about the area. They do have a pool, but we never have the time to use it. We never visited the restaurant, so it was not a problem that it is closed during the remodeling. We usually order pizza and eat in the room. Starting in January, they now offer a complementary hot breakfast, which is something they never offered before. The breakfast consisted of the usual cereal, fruit, etc., as well as hot scrambled eggs, sausage, and pancakes. Will stay here again when in the area.

    4
    « Hotel Stay »

Hotel was under construction but that didn't interfere in regards to any noises heard while in room. The staff were excellent in regards to answering questions, checking us in and so forth. The pool facilities were great and we would stay again.

    3
    « Remodel »

This Hotel is under a face-lift/remodel. AC in the building was less than impressive and this was mid April. I am sure the construction played a part but wait until the job is done before staying here when it really heats up.

    1
    « Wouldn't come back; call beforehand »

Under remodel and there is no restaurant or bar. This information is not advertised, so it is misleading. If you're paying more than $49/night, pick a different place. Or better, sleep in the car......

    3
    « Somewhat disappointed »

Hotel rooms were clean Outside was a mess with construction ease of entry was not good. No Dining or Bar on site as indicated on Web Site. The staff was very helpful the shuttle service to downtown was very good, Overall not a bad place to stay would be better when construction is done

    2
    « Renovations badly needed! »

Hotel leaves much to be desired, other than a great location for the purpose of my trip. Felt dirty, rooms badly needed updating, long dingy hallways. All this for a high price. Breakfast was adequate other than all the milk was spoiled. Hopefully, things change soon for this hotel.

    3
    « Best Western Plus »

Hotel is undergoing some renovations to the lounge and dining area so it is difficult to give a complete review. When conducting business at the Capitol, it is a great location. Competitively priced, great breakfast and decent but small work out facility.

  • 4
    « Hockey Fun »

We had a wonderful time at the Best Western, especially with the great shuttle service to and from the XCel Hockey Arena. This is a great asset for those who don't want the hassle of driving in traffic and paying for parking! Go Hawks!

    4
    « hotel stay »

good visit overall. however, I feel that they maybe upped the price of the room considering the events that were taking place in the area. customer service was pretty good, made the stay enjoyable. it was nice having shuttle service available. I will be staying here again next year.

    1
    « Disgusting hotel »

I agree with Melody. This place is disgusting, starting with the filthy grounds and parking area. Every kind of waste possible is present here. I too, was not told when reserving that it is under construction and that the restaurant is closed. The hotel was scarcely booked but I was assigned to a room overlooking the Sears parking lot and the renovation constructions zone. I awoke to men talking and moving up and down on a scaffolding right in front of my window. The room smelled strongly of deodorizer, was noisy, the shower faucet was broken, water barely hot and the breakfast was gross. The clerk offered an "I'm sorry" but nothing to address my specific complaints or compensate me. I then answered the online survey (along with my negative comments) sent to me by Best Western, and received the usual form letter that it would help them to improve the future guest experience, blah, blah, blah. Again, I was offered no specific apologies or any compensation. The room rate was high considering the condition of this place. I am surprised that the Best Western franchise would allow this property to operate this way.

    5
    « A good value »

Despite the remodeling the hotel was very clean, staff very attentive to our needs. Hotel shuttle to AC/DC concert a perk we enjoyed. Front desk very professional checking in and out. We plan to stay there on our next trip to the Twin Cities

    1
« horrible hotel during renovation »

this was the most disgusting hotel ever. Maybe it'll be nice after renovations but as of right now it should of closed its doors. Plus when I booked I wasn't made aware of this "renovation" no restaurant, bar, dingy, dirty, smelling rooms, elevators. No heat, no hot water, dirty windows (if I had a view, I wouldn't of been able to see it) Was promised $159 refund, didn't get it......

    3
« Nothing special, served its purpose. »

Imagine a hotel in a shopping mall next to a Sears and you are seeing this hotel. The quality of the hotel is average, like thousands of others. Except this one is under renovation, which based on other reports seems to be rather long-term. The construction is not a problem, just another brick in a boring wall. This hotel has no particular attraction, unless for some reason this location is where you want to be. The price was modest, but certainly not low. Better to stay 15 minutes either direction on the freeway and pay less.

    2
« I was walked here from the Doubletree »

They were full so they took me to this hotel. Luckily I only had to stay one night. I felt a little cramped with the narrow hallways and short ceilings. My room average size and I like the California King Size bed with plenty of room to stretch out. Both sides of the bed weren't equipped with electrical outlets which is inconvenient. I had to pull out my handy travel extension cord unplug the alarm clock. The bathroom had a shower with a tub, but it feels cramped. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless it was your last resort

    4
« Convenient location, clean rooms, attentive staff »

This was our 2nd stay at the Best Western Plus Capital Ridge. Last year we brought our pet lab and that was a nice convenience offered at this hotel for a reasonable cleaning up charge. This year, no pet, but another nice stay. We were not told that the hotel was under renovation when we booked. Not a huge deal, but no on-site restaurant, complimentary breakfast moved to some conference rooms, and just a little disorganization and construction mess to deal with. Staff have always been helpful and friendly. Added bonus of a shuttle to and from area attractions within a 3 mile radius. Rooms were clean. Rooms do not have the best noise insulation as we were awoken throughout the night from hall noise and even shower taken by neighboring guests. Overall, a good experience.

    4
    « Work trip »

The hotel is under renovation, so I hope to stay again when they are done to see the improvements. If you are from a rural (quited town) area, bring a fan. I94 is right next to the hotel, so the road noise is audible.

    4
    « Good experience »

Close to the capitol. Have held several business events there. The rooms are nice. On site restaurant is good. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location doesn't have a lot of good places to eat nearby but i had a good experience.

    « Staying for surgery »

I had surgery on the 18th and my husband was their staying as we live about 3 hours north. The shuttle drivers were so awesomely great and helpful for my husband as he is totally lost with out me. The front desk staff was so polite, helpful and understanding of our situation. We ended up staying another night that I did not book, but hey were able to help us out. Please thank everyone for their kindness and help. Peggy Wickham

    2
    « Don't Stay During Renovation »

The hotel is being renovated. They should close until services are at a minimal level. Staying in a construction zone is not fun. The room was out dated and needs improvement. The property was close to our business needs.

    5
« Nice quiet place to stay »

Clean, quiet and very comfortable. Even though Interstate 94 was just out side the hotel you didn't experience any road noise. The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. I would stay again as this hotel is close to a lot of the downtown attractions.

    4
    « Good news/Bad news »

GOOD news- our room was wonderful! Very nice, clean, great bed, sofa, quiet, hot water, it exceeded our needs!! BAD news- we chose this hotel because of its in-house bar/restaurant, but upon arrival discovered it was CLOSED due to construction. This was an awful disappointment for us, especially since there was nothing else even around within walking distance to go to instead. It would have been nice to know this in advance....GOOD news- there was a complimentary Continental Breakfast. BAD news- there wasn't much to it.

    4
    « Minnesota Wild Weekend »

This is the third year in a row my son and I have come down to watch a Minnesota Wild hockey game. This is our first time at the Best Western Plus Capitol Ridge. Our stay was very good and would come back again. The staff was very pleasant and professional and made our stay more enjoyable.

    4
    « Good night »

It was a nice place to stay, but it would have been nice to know that it was under construction. The shuttle drivers were great guys and were willing to drive us anywhere and pick us up. The one driver was actually wearing a Santa hat and telling jokes the whole time. Pretty cool guy.

    5
« Great service and super comfy bed! »

The staff at the hotel were friendly and professional, rooms clean and access to tram and St Paul easy, as well as the shuttle bus service which we found useful too. The first night in the restraurant was good but we used it a second time and I think they were short on staff, as the same guy served and cooked and the food was cold! Other than that, a great experience.

    5
    « Very convenient »

Came for a Wild game on a Saturday night. Check-in was quick and easy, very friendly staff. They have a shuttle driver which will take you to and from the game which was awesome. Room was very clean and very quiet. Yes, a few things out of date in the room (shower curtain and room curtain) but they're going thru a renovation, I didn't let it bother me nor affect my review. I work at a hotel that went thru a reno 2 years ago, yes, it's a pain in the butt... But they gotta fix it up sometime, RIGHT?! I'd definitely stay here again if I'm ever in the area. I hope to come back and see the place after the renovations are complete! I'm sure it will be fabulous. Thanks to all staff!!

    5
« reasonable. clean and friendly »

staff is always friendly and helpful. hotel offers a special rate for hospital appointments/stays and a free shuttle to the hospital. made it so much easier on the family. pool is clean and bigger than most. restaurant is the only thing I would not recommend.

    2
« Don't book until hotel is remodeled »

Entrance being remodeled. The lobby was unprofessional and seldom had a person at the desk. (They were behind the area). Staff required additional training. Rooms were VERY outdated. I've stayed there before and was told there would be improvements.

« Great hotel in a convenient location »

My best friend and I stayed during WFTDA roller derby championships. The staff were outstanding and the shuttle drivers got us to and from the Roy in great time. They even ran later into the evending to make sure we ladies all made it back safely. We will book there again on our next visit.

    4
« Under construction but still worth a look »

Stayed 1 night recently while in town with 2 kids. Room was a bit worn but clean and quiet. Every staff member we interacted with was cheerful, welcoming and helpful. Truly nice people doing a very good job. Main entrance is completely dug up and closed so you have to enter from either end of the building. Hotel offered a discounted rate since we were going to Gillette Children's Specialty Clinic. We called the hotel directly to book it. We will use them again for our next Gillette overnight.

    2
    « 8:26 p..m. »

Construction all around the hotel itself so difficult (at night) to figure out how to get in. Many things not working properly: toilet, room was very cold, couldn't get the drapes to close completely, bedside lamp plugs kept popping out of the add-on wall socket. Pets allowed in every room --we have allergies, need smoke-free AND pet-free, got locked out of our room one night because our reservations got messed up The water was off in the whole hotel for five and one-half hours the morning after our arrival.

« Great place to stay »

Great staff, very clean, shuttle service were all great. Undergoing a remodel at this time was a bit confusing when we arrived, but not a major drawback. Would definitely stay again, proximity to xcel energy center and light rail was a big plus, especially with the shuttle to xcel.

    « Terrible experience »

Hotel was under construction. Crane was right outside our window. Very loud for 2 days. Room was not clean upon arrival. Due to construction.....water main broke and flooded our room while we were out. Maintenance came in and took all of the wet items and just threw them into the tub. Wet shoes, clothes, etc. We were never made aware of the problem until we called the front desk. Water was shut off for half a day. It was just problem after problem. Other guests were having the same issues. Hotel might be fine after construction but that will not be for a year. They did give us a break on the rate per nights that we stayed but for the problems we experience......really wasn't worth what we paid.

    « Wild Times »

Great place to stay for Wild Games. Convenient shuttle service to and from the game. Per special request, dropped us off at an area restaurant for pre game cocktails and meal. Friendly driver, front desk and cleaning staff. Restaurant and bar conveniently located in lobby. My only wish would be if food was available later in the evening. We attended the Wild game and the restaurant was closed when we got back.

hotel and ammenities were great, even though going through some construction it was very clean and everything was still available. Shuttle/cab service was our only disappointment. Restaurant was clean, the food and service were great. We all would agree that the beds were some of the most comfortable we have ever slept on.

« Very nice place to stay. »

Hotel was very clean, friendly staff, room was very clean and comfortable. Hotel located within walking distance of the History Center, Excel Energy Center, Science Museum and many other places in downtown St Paul. Appreciated the shuttle service from Excel Center back to the hotel after the Women of Faith Conference at night.

    « No breakfast! »

The hotel was very clean and in a very good location for our activity. It did not, however, offer breakfast included. For the price, we were very surprised! The expensive buffet breakfast in the adjoining restaurant was not worth the price!

    « Great Value »

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western. The pool and hot tub, the shuttle driver were the best parts of the experience, but the overall value was great! They have fast Internet, nice people, comfy beds... A+

« Good location and great service »

Location and accommodations were perfect for our purposes: College visits and Minnesota Wild Game. The staff was extremely helpful. The shuttle to the game was great as well. The rooms and beds were clean and comfortable. i would have liked to have a desk in the room, but I had declared the trip as "Leisure".

« Great location... Plus a free shuttle »

Clean rooms, decent rates, and a free shuttle to xcel. Where else would you stay for an event? 10 minute walk to science museum, children's museum, and a bunch of great restaurants. Will be back. Restaurant and bar in hotel close a bit early during events. Only disappointment.

« Would not stay here again. »

I would not stay here again. It was a great location, but the cleaniness of our room made it disgusting to stay here. The bathroom was full of black hair in the tub, sink and on the floor. I am not sure if the bathroom was cleaned other than to put out clean towels. THis was the only Best Western Plus that did not offer a free breakfast, at the price we paid for this hotel it was not worth it. We attended a concert and the location was great for that. THe hotel did provide a free shuttle that we did not have to use.

    « Angry Staff »

Don't go to the bar/restaurant. The manager/owner of the bar is incompetent and let's his staff do whatever they want. I was verbally assaulted and had a drink thrown if my face. I didn't receive an apology, but rather watched his employee walk right up to the beer tap and proceed to pour herself another drink without paying or being reprimanded whatsoever. Quite frankly is is a dangerous place to have a drink.

« Nice place to stay »

The room was clean, bed was very comfortable and the shuttle was a nice added plus to have. I would recommend this hotel and the location is easy to find. The only thing that happened was the waitress forgot my order but they got took care of it right away. Love the whirlpool. Very quiet and nice. Will stay there again for work if needed.

« Please with only one complaint »

I was very pleased with my stay. Staff were VERY nice. Answered every question and very polite. Bed was very comfortable, lots of parking, pool and hot tub were nice, and food was pretty good at the restaurant. My only complaint was cleaning. For the most part our room was very nice, but I have three children under 6 years and I found stuff on the floor that I didn't want them in.

« Dirty pool, breakfast is a joke, staff uninterested »

The pool, spa tub and the surrounding were dirty, floor green with moles. The breakfast which is not free is downright sad, literally we were serve a plate with 2 eggs and cold toasts, nothing else. no fruits on the side, no nothing... The staff is uninterested, they give you the feeling should have registered somewhere else and let them do whatever they were doing.
