Best Western Premier Rockville Hotel & Suites

Staff was very attentive and responsive. Nice room with comfortable beds and pillows. The TV was of good quality with very high resolution. The closet/coffee station/fridge/microwave combo furniture unit is something I hadn't yet seen. It seems to work alright although it was a bit oversized and blocks a light fixture on the wall above it. Also, the ironing board needs to be removed if you plan on hanging up any clothes. The toilet is too close to the tub in my opinion, making for awkward entry and exit there. The hotel itself looks great after the recent remodel and I would stay here again.

Modern and clean hotel. Extremely helpful and pleasant staff. Customer service is of utmost importance to the staff and management. Restaurants are within walking distance. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

First the good; this hotel is in a good location, right off the highway and walking distance to restaurants. It is a nice building, very clean, our room was spacious, and the bed comfortable. The person at reception was courteous. It seems obvious that management is cutting corners here though. We had no hot water in the evening or in the morning. The noise from the highway was extremely loud - it sounded like drag racing outside our window. Even earplugs didn't work. We attempted to change rooms but it wasn't better so we persevered. The restaurant is closed and they no longer serve breakfast, though coffee is available in the lobby. We were disappointed as we travel frequently on this corridor and it is convenient.

Hotel is very clean, it was in a good location, they always have good service but they did not have the buffet breakfast on our last stay. We always look forward to eating at the hotel, and it is very convenient. Please bring it back.

I stayed at this Rockville location this week and it was unfortunately another 'No heat Deja Vu' experience..The Breakast room at the Hotel had 'NO HEAT' an was freezing..the food /coffee was also cold..2 years ago at the same Hotel location the entire Hotel had no heat ..How can a Hotel continue to operate and not alert it;s guests that these issue must me faced ?? How can a Hotel charge the regular rate of $127 /189 per nite when the service is so fragile ?? This is unfair to guests

We stayed here one night while visiting family. Everything was as expected/desired: clean and comfortable, no frills room. The staff was above expectations; really excellent. Also the breakfast was pretty decent.

I spent a night at this hotel while travelling for business. It was average but better than expected. The night clerk seemed grumpy and terse, but it was after midnight. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The work-our room was workable and the breakfast was basic and not memorable. The hotel was nothing special but fine for an overnight. No complaints.

Beautifully appointed hotel. Spacious room. Great location near restaurants. Nice breakfast. The accessible roll-in shower did leak into the bathroom floor which is hard to navigate when there are mobility challenges. There was a floor drain and towels were used to dry the floor. It needs a modification. Did not realize that room cleaning was upon request so we had to ask for replenishments at the front desk each night. Overall, a very nice hotel and we will stay again.

The hotel appears to have been fairly recently renovated. It is all modern. The lobby area is beautifully done. The guest room I stayed in was spacious, clean, quiet and very comfortable. I will definitely stay here again.

I frequently work in Rockville but was looking for a hotel that didn't charge for parking. Chose this one and was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of staff, proximity to work and overall quality of the room. Joined the Best Western rewards program and will definitely be booking again soon.

Found this hotel online. Used Google Maps to locate hotels off of Route 270 in Maryland. Since I was a Best Western Rewards Member I checked out this hotel. Currently remodeled, pet friendly, and only $109 a night (plus $30 pet fee) So reasonable. Hotel was super clean and staff was extremely friendly & helpful. 2 different restaurants were right next door so I could pick up something to eat and bring it back to my room Will definitely stay again in the future.

We were staying in Rockville MD for a family reunion and stayed here. We have a very large family and most of them took advantage of the great rate we were able to get. The rooms were clean and comfortable, many were adjoining which made everything so much better! There was another large group there as well but your amazing staff made sure we all had everything we needed. I can't say enough about Rommel, the sales manager. I had to add 5 family members at the last minute and get them a suite. Romel not only gave us a great rate, he personally made sure the room was exactly how we needed it. Finally I have to mention the breakfast (included) in the ballroom which offered a great variety of hot and cold choices. We were very impressed with the hotel and staff and wouldn't hesitate to come back if we find ourselves in that area again! Margie Corbett

We just had a family reunion and booked 7 rooms for various family members. We could not be happier about the hotel. All my family members were delighted with their rooms as well as the breakfast that was served. The pool was clean and a welcome relief from the heat of July. The staff members we worked with were all so awesome. We enjoyed getting to know Romel Demelo who helped me book all the rooms for my group, Romel got know us personally and made sure our every need was met. I also want to mention Kent Franklin who was very friendly and helpful. My family members said that everyone on the staff was wonderful and that they really loved the hotel. Thanks to the Best Western Premier Hotel, our family reunion was a huge success! THANK YOU TO ALL AT BEST WESTERN!

Great experience .excellent breakfast, comfortable room and amenities, but the friendly, helpful, professional staff was amazing. From Chante in the breakfast room, to Romel, who arranged rooms for our many family members coming in for a reunion, Rolando at the front desk, and Dixie Eng, the lovely, personable manager, we were made to feel perfectly at home. Also, the pool was large, clean and nicely landscaped.

I had a meetings in the area, and couldn't be happier with the staff and accommodations The rooms have been upgraded, and the staff was more than friendly for any questions or needs i had. . I highly recommend.this place if you need a quality affordable place to stay. Breakfast was also free.

I'm a senior Senior citizen and would have preferred a room closer to the elevator rather than the very last room on the floor, exiting to the stairway! I was disappointed that there wasn't a bag for dirty laundry in the room.

This hotel has the potential to be very nice. Staff and management must take better care of rooms and amenities. The room was not clean with hair on sheets/ stains and soap scum. The bedding was also worn and needed replacing. Good location .

Apparently this place is going through renovations and won't be entirely done until probably the beginning of the 2nd quarter in 2023. That being said, it seemed like most of the rooms on the 7th floor were done and they were great especially for the rate. Stayed in a standard king room, and they had larger TVs, a microwave and a mini fridge. Bed and pillows were pretty comfy and the room was clean. The room doors can be kind of loud when they close, so don't be alarmed if you can hear other guests coming and going. Their complimentary breakfast was typical for what it is, but they had French toast when most other places have a waffle maker. I prefer French toast, so that was a plus. And their eggs seemed like *real* eggs even though they were dry (but of course any egg would be when kept in a chafing dish, right?). There was plenty of parking and also a shopping center with a few restaurants right across you could walk to, of have the Chik-Fil-A deliver to the hotel. Only interacted with 3 staff members: 2 front desk reps and the person serving up the breakfast and all were pretty friendly and nice. Everything went pretty smoothly, and we had a great relaxing stay.

We had a sudden death in the family and we needed a group of hotel rooms. They were responsive and thoughtful in working with us. The entire family was able to stay on the same floor near each other for a reasonable price. Being able to hang out in the morning over an included breakfast was a perk! Thank you Best Western!

Overall, the hotel, rooms, breakfast, and location were great until it got cold. Located close to DC, but we decided not to go into the city since it was so cold. We were in an outside windward room, and it was 20 degrees outside. it did not get warm in the room even with the heat turned up.

I'd stayed here a few times years back, and it was certainly more dingy than not. They've renovated, though, and the difference is remarkable. The room was clean, quiet and modern. I've knocked a star off for two things: First, there's a pet fee. It's not an astronomical fee, but I'd like to think that thorough cleaning occurs whether a dog has been in the room or not. Second, the heating system is slow to heat the rooms...took a few hours to get just a couple of degrees warmer.

The hotel was very nice. Clean. Breakfast was very good. Staff was very freindly. My husband left his wallet in the room. We were 1hr away when he realized. Called hotel they sent someone up to find. Within 10 minutes the hotel called back they found it. Our minds were at ease.

came to the hotel for a soccer tournament and the staff was so genuine and attentive to our needs. we would come back again. the rooms were clean and smell fresh. the staff for breakfast was on point and were there to assist.

We had the privilege of staying three nights at this hotel while visiting Washington and I would highly recommend it to anyone. We were met at the front desk by a young man called Michal who was so friendly and personable and most helpful. We inquired as to the subway system in and around Washington and he went to the trouble of printing us off a map and telling us all about the card we needed to get and what to do. Each morning he greeted us and told us to have a good day! The room we stayed in had been recently renovated was super clean and nicely decorated. The beds were so comfortable that we had a fantastic sleep each night with no noise from the surrounding rooms either. We were served breakfast each morning which was a new thing for us but we loved it. The servers each morning did a wonderful job of giving us exactly what we asked for and would bring the toast right to our table. We wish every place did this!! Everyone was so friendly and we really felt it was a "home away from home". Go check it out - you will not be disappointed! We would go back in a heartbeat if ever in the area again!!

The staff was very friendly! We came in a bit early and they bent over backwards to accommodate us even though we didn't expect it. We just stopped in to ask for directions to a local restaurant. I said I know that it was too early to check in and the person in-charge said "what do you mean it's too early. If we have a clean room, we'd be happy to check you in". I will absolutely stay here again!

Best Western Rockville MD was a great stay. The room was fantastic and great value for the money. It is located in a great place for work and/or tourism. There are lots of great restaurants close by with a great selection available.

We only stayed there for 1 night for my husband's hospital visit in Bethesda. We did not get to check out any amenities or breakfast. However, the gentleman at check-in was very nice and informative and let me know they could make a to-go bag of breakfast since we had to check out for our appointment too early for breakfast. I locked us out at one point and security was very nice and polite while getting another key for me at 4:30 AM while taking bags out for checkout. Would have given a 10 except there were a few hairs on the bathroom sink counter and in the shower. We will stay again for his next hospital visit.

The Best Western Plus in Rockville is an exceptional value and great place to stay if for a weekend or a longer stay while in the DC area. It is conveniently located next to 270 in Rockville and is a much better value than hotels in Bethesda (pricey) or Tysons Corner. A warm, varied and delicious breakfast is included at no additional cost. The entire Hotel is extremely clean and the staff go out of their way to ensure that you have a pleasant and inviting stay. If you have any concerns or questions, the staff will address promptly. The Hotel is pet-friendly, and provides free Wi-Fi, as well as free coffee 24/7 in the lobby. I recommend you book directly with BW instead of Travel Companies to accumulate points and get a better rate.

Everything about this hotel was very good except for some minor issues. Public places were a little run down and breakfast was mediocre. Room was modern and very comfortable. Mattress gave me a bad back after two nights. Mattress felt like the springs were bad. My wife said she could hear the springs moving in the bed and it woke her up many times.

Excellent overal..stall were very professional and courtenous…a very nice pleasant and were received susprised. Thank you. The breakfast staff were excellent.. Room was clean and efficient——staff very gracious to our young welsh springer spaniel.

My wife and i were going to the wash/nats game and this hotel was perfect .About 30 min to the ballpark .Room was clean and the bed was comfortable .Due to covid breakfast limited but had hot food served by a very nice young lady .My only complaint is the pool is only open 2pm-9pm .Would have liked to use the outdoor pool in the morning before we left ..The staff was very friendly and would stay here again if in the area .

We spent a weekend in Washington DC and booked a Best WEstern hotel a bit outside, which was a good decision. A quiet hotel but close to the interstate, so you can quickly times in the city ;-). A very good hotel, especially clean and modern. We felt very comfortable.

Love the staff, very outgoing and always remembers Your name . The GM cares a lot about this place and is just as hard working as anyone one else there . We stay there constantly and is always our first choice when doing business in the area .

Great location right off of 270. Very courteous staff. Great hot breakfast with one of the better coffee machines I have used at a hotel, offered in the lobby and at breakfast. Many restaurants are located nearby.

Great location with easy access to the highway. Appears to have been renovated recently. The hotel is clean and the rooms nice and quiet. The parking lot is a bit of a mess with all the trucks parked everywhere but there is ample parking

The hotel is been improving every time I stay there, with all the renovations and the redecoration of the rooms i think this is one of the best hotels in the area, it's a wonderful experience every time I stay there.

While Rockville is a bit out of the way, easy access to the freeway makes getting into DC and Georgetown a breeze and with many dining/shopping options minutes away, makes this a good spot at a great price. The breakfast was better than average and a modern lounge in the lobby is a bonus. With fairly quiet roads for cycling, getting to Great Falls and the Capital Crescent Trail were fairly easy and stress free. If you're a golfere, there are 3 good options less than 20 minutes away includeing Blue Mash.

I The hotel was very accommodating when I had to unexpectedly had to change my reservation due to a family crisis. The staff was very pleasant and helpful which was nice given the family crisis. The breakfast buffet was good, the internet connection was a better speed then I have at home. The room was pleasant but not a place to relax in during the day as the only chair was an office style chair. But the bed was comfortable and soft. Given the rug is dark hard to tell if clean. The room had modern decor.

This hotel has undergone many renovations since the last time I stayed and that made our stay so much more pleasant. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The price made this hotel a great value. I love Best Western.

This is an excellent hotel with easy proximity to the Metro. Two trains later and you are at the National Mall in Washington DC! Hotel is undergoing renovations and our room was excellent! The staff are some of the friendliest I have encountered at a hotel, and they are very helpful. Highly recommend a stay here!

This hotel was clean, neat, and helpful with our group's stay. They set up a breakfast buffet that covered all food groups and dietary needs. They were very personal and welcomed all of us as we entered each night. They continued to help us with all requests that needed their attention. We would use them again without question. We stayed at this hotel about about a week ago. The hotel was nice, clean, and modern. They had a good variety of breakfast items that helped start the day. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly and professional. The hotel is near the highway which was great as we were sightseeing in DC and VA. There were also plenty of restaurants within walking distance if you weren't looking to drive.

I've been impressed enough to extend my stay. Very clean, friendlly staff...in fact, everyone I've encountered in my 3 week stay has tried to go out of their way to help me This hotel has obviously both well managed facilities and employees. A warm breakfast, computer/printer acsess, a good location on Interstate 270 and I couldn't be happier.

First of all, you will meet friendly and supportive staff at the front desk and their General Manager is a wonderful lady who is there for you. I'd love to recognize Chante - server at the restaurant and her partner. They serve the best and delicious breakfast. It's hot, fresh and made with love. You will taste it. I keep coming back to this hotel and feel like I'm at home. It's a safe and nice place. It's clean, rooms, bathroom, lobby- everything is clean. I appreciate your hard work to keep everything safe, clean and pleasant to stay.

We are from out of state and have relatives nearby. We consider Rockville Best Western on Montgomery Avenue to be our luxury home away from home. We feel excited as we enter the lobby for our stay. We have been staying here usually for multi-night visits for years and would stay nowhere else!

I really have no complaints. Got breakfast, decent art, fridge and microwave in the room. Free coffee 24/7. Room was big enough for a VR workout after shuffling furniture a little. The fitness center and pool were closed, I would have enjoyed it even more otherwise

We needed a place in Rockville, Md, for one night with little advance notice. This Best Western came up based upon location. We were very pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and friendly, helpful staff.

Best Western Plus is in the process of making improvements to their building. Our room was newly updated. We look forward to returning for another visit to see what they do. Quiet construction, if we hadn't seen them, you wouldn't know they were there.

This is the best hotel we have stayed at in our travels over the past year! The staff is friendly and helpful from check in to a good breakfast that was served not the continental breakfast we have become accustomed to during the pandemic. The room was clean and in good order. We had no problems with the internet as well.

Hotels was quiet, and the staff was very friendly. My checkin was smooth and the checkout even smoother. There is a nice hot breakfast every morning, in addition to fruits, pastries and yogurt . Only con would be my bed was lumpy, other than that if you're in the area, it's a good stay.

I've stayed 4 nights at this hotel. The suite was amazing, comfortable and had a great view.. It was clean and it has everything that you need for your stay! the staff is very kind and friendly, especially the manager. It's a wonderful place to stay I would come back again because I am leaving with a smile :)

Free parking near Bethesda is a big deal. Free breakfast was outdated (meat sometimes in egg while offering a meat side - why?). Still it's a lot of bang for the buck. Very nice staff. Maids no how to clean, but the bed's are mediocre — even for the price (fine for overnight).

Nice hotel. Dated but very clean and well maintained. Has microwave and fridge! Terrific hotel for family visit. Mattress too soft but otherwise comfortable stay. Only traditional outlets, no USB charging ports at all

My stay at this was good the little problems i had were fixed the staff are pros at there job. Nice bed easy aera for shopping needs will be back when i travel again.The hotel is near the highway so again your in the center of everything.

The finest Best Western I've ever stayed in. Large, comfortable, modern rooms with great bed and huge TV. Friendly accommodating staff. Surprisingly good breakfast (scrambled eggs, link sausage and French Toast/Pancakes/Waffles individually served by staff. Excellent coffee. Several restaurants within walking distance. Some modifications going on but they're not disruptive. Ample easy parking. I stayed 3 nights and was glad I'd chosen this hotel. Will definitely return when I'm in the area.

Great hotel in a convenient location for the entire metro area. The hotel rooms are very comfortable and contemporary. I have stayed at this hotel many times and will continue to stay there on my travels to the metro area.

Friendly front desk and easy parking. The hotel is a bit outdated with old furniture and squeaking beds. Plentiful parking spots and easy to get around town. Breakfast is included which is a plus. Overall it is a good value hotel.

I recently spent three nights at Best Western Rockville, while visiting my son stationed at nearby Walter Reed Medical Center. The hotel was VERY conveniently located just off the interstate. It was undergoing renovation, but the lobby and interior were minimally effected. ALL staff I encountered were friendly and courteous. My room was attractive and exceptionally clean. Hair dryer, iron, microwave, and mini fridge were included amenities. The bed was reasonably comfortable, and the ac in my room seemed to work fine. Breakfast was tasty and hot, and coffee was available in the lobby all day long. I'm a small, middle aged female who was traveling alone, and I felt very safe coming and going. My biggest complaint was television reception…I didn't inquire, so don't know if it was just an issue with my room or hotel-wide. But I'm not a die hard tv watcher, so not a big deal for me. I would stay there again without hesitation.

My family including our2 cats stayed here for6 nights while our house was being worked on. Hotel is really nice. Newly renovated room was immaculate and comfortable. Staff is super friendly and professional . Free breakfast every morning was very good. Can walk to variety of restaurants nearby . Highly recommend for both out of town guests and locals!

We were taking our grandchildren on a vacation to show them the places of importance in our American history. We stayed at Rockville Best Western and had such great service and attention! The entire staff was courteous and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was positive! This is definitely a step above!

Even though they had construction going on it was not too noisy or some things being in order from the trucks. Over all the staff from beginning to end was professional, polite, & accommodating. Even with the noise control thank you for taking my feedback and making it better to sleep that night.

I love staying in this hotel, and I'm happy to say that I've been staying at this hotel for long time at least 3 night a week, and it has improved so much in every aspect, I can't see myself staying in another hotel if I'm in the Washington area.

deception on breakfast, was promised a continental breakfast and was given a "grab bag" of water and not acceptable for an average adults. Staff was excellent hot clean even though parts were closed off and did not affect our stay.

This hotel was perfect for our needs. The location was excellent with easy access to the highway. We appreciated that it was next-door to a great restaurant and a nail salon. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and professional. Parking was convenient and free. We liked that the room had carpeting and was newly refurbished. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall hotel was nice, Had reserved a king one bedroom suite online, got to hotel and was told those rooms were unavailable because of remodeling, Ended up giving us a room with 2 queen beds. Worked just fine

the staff at the front desk were very helpful, friendly and courteous. A smiling hello each time we entered the lobby and a cheery have a good day as we left the building. I highly recommend this facility.

The BW was a very wonderful surprise...best priced in the area, free parking, large, clean room, free internet and breakfast! But the best of the BE was the kindness and helpfulness of their staff! A big sout out to Dixie, the manager, she was over the top!

Everyone exceeded expectations. I was impressed with the levels of diversity at the front desk. I've never stayed in a Best Western before but now I will definitely stay again. I've already told my family anyone visiting must stay at this location.

The hotel was filthy. The elevator you stuck to the floor. The rooms were ok. My biggest complaint was none of the staff except housekeeping wore masks. Weed wafted through the hallways. Just horrible stay.

The front desk was very nice and very helpful we had a great experience and a nice trip !! Highly recommend the hotel !! Definitely five stars !! We were traveling with our dog to dc and the hotel is great if you're traveling with man's best friend!!

*I booked a king bed; they gave me two doubles. *The bed was extremely hard, lumpy, and noisy (clearly very old and needs to be replaced). I tossed and turned all night. *There were crumbs on the nightstand. *The shower water pressure is terrible and only gets warm, not hot. *The air conditioning didn't work; it just stayed at 77° in the room despite turning it down. *The grab-and-go breakfast was pure sugar (muffin, granola bar, and fruit).

Upon checking in for a seven night stay, I was informed that the property was under renovation and that my husband and I might be moved to the renovated wing mid-stay. After informing the very nice clerks that moving mid-stay would be too taxing on my husband, a disabled Vietnam vet undergoing radiation therapy for stage four prostate cancer at Walter Reed, and me suggesting we should go elsewhere, they gave us a room not scheduled to be moved during our stay. What we were not told until i called is that there is no air conditioning!!! My husband gets hot flashes as a result of radiation and I have hot flashes from menopause...Not fun. We were told they were buying guest fans right away. After waited over an hour, my husband called down...no fans after all. Wait for r enovations to be over and call first!

We have stayed at this property several times in the last 6 years, and this is absolutely the last time. We knew the hotel was undergoing some "updating" but what we experienced is simply poor management and an attempt to take in as many $$$ as they can with so many empty rooms. First, we waited several minutes to check in (on Monday) because the desk person (male) wanted to finish something on the computer in the back office. Then we were told that the 2nd floor suite specifically requested by telephone on Saturday morning was not available due to renovations (that information was available when I called on Saturday). The 2nd floor was requested because we both have mobility issues and I was to have surgery on Thursday and I would be prohibited from using stairs in case of an emergency. Then, after checking in, we were informed there would be no water available the next morning from 9am until 2pm. The rooms were freezing cold despite turning the thermostat very high. The room temperature was still about 60 degrees, after 2 hours. We called the desk and it seems there was an open window behind the drapes so of course the rooms could not warm up since the outdoor temperature had been been below freezing in the morning with not much improvement early afternoon. There was also freezing rain that morning. Finally, the rooms began to warm and we were able to sleep with extra blankets. The second day, while I was in the hospital, the outdoor temperatures rose significantly and my husband discovered there was NO air conditioning in the hotel rooms due to the renovations. So, temperatures were higher, heat rises, the sun is beating on the windows and it's a sauna inside the suite. The solution (on Friday) was a box fan and instructions to open the window again behind the blackout drape in the bedroom corner. Room cleanliness (especially during Covid-19 pandemic): the rooms were definitely not disinfected or cleaned very well. (I couldn't get the photos to upload.) Light switches, microwave, fridge, and coffee maker clearly hadn't even been wiped. The coffee maker was so disgusting we couldn't/wouldn't use. Bath supplies: Only one hand towel, and one wash cloth were provided for 2 guests. Not once in 6 days, did anyone come by to offer fresh towels or to replenish other supplies. On the last morning of our much shortened stay, there was fire alarm testing (no forewarning). When we called the desk, there was no answer. In fairness, the desk did call back a few minutes later and advised no need for concern, they were testing alarms. We didn't even receive the customary Welcome bag for gold level guests! We have stayed in several hotels very recently and they all clearly had taken serious steps to ensure cleanliness of their guest rooms. They also provided an information sheet at check-in with info on changes to their daily operating plan (e.g., breakfast, room services, trash removal, etc.). This BW property posted lengthy notices in the elevator and expected guests to stand in the elevator long enough to read through the small print. In my opinion, simply not good enough! ABSOLUTELY WORST Best Western Plus experience EVER!

We stayed ay the BW while our house was being shown for sale ---Attracted by the rates and have usually stayed at BW when possible ---Found this BW to be below par .---The suite we had was old and shabby ---The ceiling was dirty around the vent and the heating system was loud and not very accurate ---I will say that the bed was very good --great pillows and provided good rest ---liked the layout but was very putoff by the condition of the room ---

I visited this hotel during the Pandemic...It was really clean...I watched them sanitize it on a regular. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable and at ease. Very professional and courteous DEFINITELY a good value for your money....

I have stayed 4 nights in October 2020 and 1 night November 2020. It's a very Convenient location but each visit I had issues with heating cleanliness and the last visit I found a roach. The dayshift female manager was notified and apologized Informing me that they are doing improvements to the hotel as we speak

Dog friendly with good amount of grass around the hotel to walk. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. It was overall a pleasant and comfortable place to stay. Easy to get to. They even had construction going on and you couldn't even tell besides the signs on the door. It was a very quiet stay. The to-go breakfast was pretty adequate too, since they weren't serving because of COVID. I'd stay here again.

Rooms need renovating soon. It appears they are working on the renovations. For the price we paid for the room, I guess we should not have expected better. The front desk people are very helpful and professional. We had stayed in a BW before and were very happy. This hotel was a disappointment.

The hotel room was dirty, cracked sink in bathroom no housekeeping service, hot water didn't work, keys always did not work. Had to go back to the front desk for new keys. Rugs were wet, very noisy, you can hear the room next to you as well as the rooms across the hall.

I made 2 reservations under my name. One for my son and one for me. I chose this hotel because it was pet friendly and my son had a dog. This was notated on the reservation for the king-sized room.His stay was supposed to be placed under his name upon arrival and he arrived 1 day ahead of me. He was given my room by mistake?? (2 double beds) and I was given his room (king sized). After confronting the hotel personnel, she changed my room to a double but said since he came 1 day earlier she couldn't change his room. He told the hotel personnel he was supposed to have a king room but she said all kings rooms had been booked 2 weeks before. His room had mold in the bathroom; my room had cracks in the bedroom ceiling and the iron didn't work. Upon check out he gave his credit card to pay for his room. They still charged my credit card for his room and my room and told me that I had a dog in my room (which I didn't) and she wanted to charge me extra for the non-existing dog. He is checking to see if they also charged his credit card. They put a $100 hold on my card as they said this was customary and was in my reservation agreement but when I asked to see it on my reservation they couldn't find any proof on the reservation and made me sign an acknowledgment of the charge without any verification. I felt this was unprofessional and misleading. They said the hold would be held for 3 days after my departure. The outside of the hotel looks very nice but the actual rooms inside of in need of a much needed renovation. There are signs everywhere that a face mask is required but I saw a few guests on the elevator and general areas with no face covering and the hotel personnel didn't say anything to them. I will not be staying at a Best Western any time in the future. I thought Best Western Plus was on the scale of a Marriott Courtyard but I was very disappointed with this stay.

Located just near the Research Park in Rockville, Maryland, the Best Western PLUS is very clean and provides great service. At a time when people are concerned with staying in hotels due to COVID-19, I, as a health care professional, was very impressed with the safety measures taken by the staff here at the hotel. So much so, that I sent photos of signage, sanitizers and air purifiers back to friends staying in Florida. Leslie, the night clerk, anticipated my every need and Ruth, the day clerk made sure that I had everything I asked for. Finally, at a time when it's so easy for senior managers to stay in their ivory towers, I was thoroughly impressed with the general manager here, standing shoulder to shoulder with her front line staff serving a hot breakfast with all necessary precautions, to all her guests. Dixie is an excellent example of true leadership during a challenging time. I highly recommend staying in this facility, if you must travel like I do.

I'm staying in Maryland with my in-laws under my father in laws last name because we are sharing a room. I did not have a room key and I was just coming back in after walking my service dog. I approach the front desk and ask for a room key. The front desk agent Ruth said she can issue me a room key if I can tell her what's on my reservation. I told her the day we check in the day we are checking out. The addressed used. Email and the room number. EVERYTHING MATACHED! She then looks at me and says no I don't want to give you a room key. Now maybe it's because I'm white and I didn't shower so I looked a little nutty with my hair messy and sweatpants on and an over size cardigan with my service dog Bandit. THAT IS RACIST! You do not tell somebody you can help them and then keep them locked out of their room. After looking at me up and down. Now I work for Best Western myself. And never, and I mean never have I ever treated a guest the way she treated me. That's absolutely disgusting. I'm not saying oh let's fire her she's bad for the company. But she needs to have a warning done at least. I know she can probably be the best from desk agent out there.

Nice stay - easy check in/check out. Accommodations were clean, staff was helpful. Amenities were very good with free breakfast/parking. Breakfast was "different" due to COVID-19 and social distancing, but selection was good and varied.

Excellent location, convenient to downtown DC, NOVA and MD with excellent amenities and price. Rooms were spacious and provided the space needed for my small family to stay while here on business. During COVID, made a perfect spot to have the space to play, eat and sleep.

This hotel location makes for an easy commute to any place in the area in is approx 500ft off and on I270. The hotel is well kept and the staff are friendly and seem to take ownership of their roles. The bathrooms are "tight (also I was in a one bed room)", but completely sufficient for a business trip.

My organization has needed to house dozens of members of our church team during the coronavirus for our corporate travel needs. The staff there have been incredibly accommodating to us and have made great allowances for early arrives and departures. I highly recommend this management team to anyone. We are very grateful for their goodness to our group. All of our representatives commented how kind they were to us during difficult times.

I am a Best Western Member and have stayed at this hotel multiple times in last 8 months for longer duration. I recently had checked in on 13th March and my booking was done till 31st March 2020. My room no. in which i was staying was 771. Booking Confirmation No. 1329195. However, due to Corona lockout and limited services at the hotel, i had checked out early from the Hotel on 21st March 2020. The hotel debited my Debit Card for $674.56 and i was issued the receipt for the same at time of checkout. However, to my surprise on 1st April the hotel has again debited by card for another $758.88 and again on 2nd April for $84.32 despite having already checked out. Have tried contacting the hotel multiple times but all calls are falling on deaf ears and they simply put your call on hold. I am surprised at the unprofessionalism being shown by the hotel to its regular customer. If these additional charges of $758.88 and $84.32 are not reversed i will be forced to take legal action against them.

Room is great... Only complaint is bathroom way too small. The bathroom door almost hits the toilet. Had a terrible architect when they built it i guess . Bed seems new and very comfortable. Staff is awesome and very helpful. good breakfast.

One of the best stays I have had. Ms. Dixie (manager), cooking/serving staff, front desk staff all have been the most hospitable and gracious staff I have seen in a long time. Always looking out for the troops and finding better ways to be of service. Rooms clean, food is great. Will be coming back. Always met with a smile and a good word. My family and I were celebrating the 1 year Anniversary of my mother in law's passing. The air conditioning system was broken. The bathroom outlet did not work. Laundry facilities were outdated. My husband had to go across the street for change and detergent. A homeless man came off the street and into the breakfast area. Hotel could use some updating.

We checked out many options and this was the most convenient and reasonable. The good: The hotel was very clean, the desk service excellent . Breakfast was more than adequate and the room fine. The not so good: The hotel needs a bit of renovation. Some of the exercise equipment didn't work and those that did were a bit antiquated . In the bathroom the mirror was falling apart . In conclusion if you can set the above aside it was well worth it and we will probably return

My job is relocating to Rockville, MD. I was unable to acquire living arrangement prior to me reporting to work. I stayed at the Best Western on W Montgomery during my transition. I enjoyed my time there. The staff were very professional.

With the A/C turned off for the winter and the sun baking into the rooms huge glass windows all day-- it remained a blistering 78 degrees until nighfall--got down to only 72 all night. We sweated and sweated while getting ready for an important meeting. This is just wrong.

I stay here frequently and this hotel is clean and consistent. There are a few one offs but I have stayed here numerous times in the past 10 months and I know what to expect and if there is a problem it is addressed immediately.

Hotel is very quiet, peaceful & clean. Check in was simple & quick. I enjoyed my room & was able to relax doing my stay. I'm planning on visiting very soon & this will be my 1st option. Next time I will make sure to try the breakfast.

Price was right and breakfast was good. But there were problems in the room: One light didn't have a bulb and that was handled quickly; drapes did not meet in the middle and the gap was significant (staff member reported to us that other rooms were the same); room was very warm; and the toilet continued to run after flushing unless you lifted the tank top to fix the "flapper."

We have stayed at this hotel for years. Our son goes to school in the area and we stayed here because of the price plus, being an awards member, I earn points toward free stays. We have watched this hotel go down over the last year or so. My last stay, and it will be my last, I didn't make a reservation. I figured being an awards member I'd have no trouble just walking in to book a room. Not so!!! The woman behind the desk couldn't have been more rude. I was alone and was told they only had rooms with two beds. I was thanked for being a ‘gold' member but facial expressions speak volumes. I did a room on the fifth floor. The odor that hit me as I opened the room door nearly made me sick. The fan was so noisy I ended up with a headache. I shut it off but could hear the fan from the next room. What really disgusted me was the bathroom. The floor was dirty, pieces of the mirror had fallen off, the ceiling had been patched and not finished. I felt like I was in a boarding house. When I climbed into the shower my stomach just turned. The back of the toilet was covered with urine stains. The breakfast was very minimal, the coffee in the lobby was stone cold and there was no hot water for tea. What should have been hot water was stone cold coffee. I stayed at a lot of Best Westerns when I travel, both family and business. I will never stay at this one again.

The hotel needs updating and fumigating for bugs. There is visible water damage which makes me wonder about mold issues. I understand the hotel is slated for renovations starting in January 2020. The location is great for connecting with Montgomery College and related meetings. The saving grace is the hotel staff. While waiting for my ride to the meeting I heard several people complain about the breakfast options (or lack of). The front desk staff managed complaints very well.

Hotel was very nice, the king suite was nice too.. bathroom, sitting room and bedroom was all clean.. The only problem we had was two dirty rags and towel was left hanging on the shower rod from the last guest I assume.. But overall a very nice place to rest your head at night...

The Best Western Plus was recommended for a brief business stay because it was close to the destination and I was told it provides a shuttle service within a 5-mile radius. No, my first experience was the intellectually challenged front-desk staff when asking about the shuttle service. "Our shuttle is broken down. We only provide shuttle transport to the Metro station". I encountered these intellectually challenging responses several times from front desk staff during my stay. The breakfast quality (and choice) was significantly poorer than in comparable hotel chains. And while the room was up to standard (size, cleanliness), the air conditioning was deafening (see picture). Impossible to sleep with A/C on. Response front desk: "yes, some rooms have an A/C that is louder". Neither helpful not competent. So overall, this stay counts among my "not to be repeated" exercises. Now I'm curious to see how many positive reviews will be posted "all of a sudden" after this authentic review goes online.

I was terrified to stay at this hotel, based on all the poor recent reviews. I stayed in a room on the 7th floor which, noise aside (beside the elevators) was just fine. Clean, updated, no cockroaches, a comfortable temperature. Did you know if you put the shower curtain inside the tub, it doesn't spray everywhere? Geeze. Some people. Was it the ritz? No. Was the breakfast very good? Not really. Was it inexpensive and clean with friendly staff and comfortable beds? You bet.

The condition that this hotel is in is absolutely disgusting! The rooms are very old and outdated. They are also very dirty. In addition, when my Dad and I were driving to this hotel, there wasn't a clear sign posted on the road with the name of the hotel. They were also doing some work on the parking lot when we were there, which was an inconvenience. The breakfast buffet was also not good. My Dad and I were staying in Rockville while we were going to an event in Washington D.C. and we wanted to save some money by staying outside of Washington D.C. However, I must say I don't recommend this hotel.

You can put as much lipstick on a pig as you want and it's not going to change the fact that it's still a pig. We came with a sports team and will never stay here again. They attempted to make this hotel look like they recently updated everything and at first glance you believe it. Then every few minutes you see more evidence that this place is falling apart and very dirty. In our bathroom the smell of mold was overwhelming. The floor and baseboard were disgusting, the towel rack was rusty, wallpaper peeling off the walls, bad wallpaper patch jobs and the ceiling looked like it had been cut open numerous times. Overall the room was very dirty. We didn't have any towels. I called the front desk numerous times. No one answered the phone. Our room on the 6th floor was so hot we couldn't get comfortable. The thermostat was old and useless. Our friends on the 4th floor had no heat and froze. The clerk who checked us in seemed to be new and poorly trained for a number of reasons. He also sold two rooms while we waited to check in. We had other families from our team show up later to be told they couldn't honor their reservation (that they've had for months) because they didn't have any rooms left. The clerk kept trying to call a supervisor but no one was answering. This establishment has clearly avoided making much needed repairs, doesn't train their staff well and is very dirty. Avoid it!

This was our second stay at the Rockville MD BW. We returned becaused we just loved the place. It has all the amenities you would expect from a 5 star hotel plus it is conveniently located on I-270. We were in town for the baptism of our grandson at St. Raphael's which is just one exit south on I-270. Only ten minutes away for this who wish to attend Mass on the weekend.

Unfortunately my stay was not a good one. My room, shortly after arrival and check in, was home to some cockroaches. They were coming from the mirrors on the wall over the desk area as well as the floor and and the washrooms. It was absolutely disgusting and the smell afterwards of bug spray to try and kill what was in the rooms did not help the situation at all. We had a large group with us and all the parents are now disinfecting everything that came from that visit. I would not recommend this place at all. Roaches were also seen in the eating area. Please be advised that this is not a sanitary place to stay.

Bugs in the bathroom 3 out of 4 days! Sub-par breakfast. The staff was very responsive, but I would not return to this hotel. The breakfast needs much work. Cold sausage, no butter, tasteless eggs. The room was overly warm with no way to cool it down except opening the window--no screen.

The first room - the TV was not working and the heat was not working. The second room - the heat was not working and nobody was available to fix it. When I asked for extra blankets, I was told I would have to go downstairs to get them. Second room had mold in the bathroom. See attached picture. Changing rooms - there was no bellboy and we had to lug our luggage from the first room to the second. Breakfast - I tried to get a glass from a tray. It was stuck with some gooey substance I tried with another -also stuck. Four more glasses on the tray were all stuck.

The hotel was in disarray. Our door handle and faucet ino bathroom were both broken. The AC was "turned off for the season" and our room was incredibly hot. The walls were dirty. The bathroom was so small you could barely get in and shut the door. The breakfast was just ok. If you have a choice, for the price, stay somewhere else.

Air conditioning didn't work and heat kept turning on, on its own. People on our floor making noise, slamming doors all hours of the night. The room key didn't work unless you tried multiple times and pushed the door open hard. Everything is worn, old and dingy. Water damage in the bathroom. Shower curtain completely delaminated so the whole bathroom waa soaked after one shower. Breakfast was mediocre

liked the online check-in process before arriving, would like to have it linked to the check-in process when you arrive. Unfortunately, can't pay with cash, sad thing. Cute amenities in the room, and nice display. First time in a while, had shower cap in room in nice plastic case, didn't have to leave the room because I forgot it. Liked soap and shampoo, great citrus smell. Flowery design of towels and toilet paper cute, made room more inviting as well as décor. The furniture in the lobby was a little worn, but overall nice hotel, comfortable. Near a small mall, very convenient--had Chic Fili. Also, near the highway, but traffic didn't interfere with my sleep. Breakfast, free with good choices and not continental….! eggs, fried potatoes, waffles, all my favorites, even oatmeal—varieties. Liked soap and shampoo, great citrus smell. Gooooodd choice for one or two nights

The hotel was easy to book on their website, staff was reasonably nice and checkin/out was quick. I made some requests to change my checkout time and they accommodated without a fuss. The in-room amenities are pretty good and comparable to hotels you'd expect for double the price.

A large modern hotel with huge car park and a quick and efficient check in. Room was very spacious with 2 double fridgesafe and all usual facilities including bath with good shower over. Also a very good buffet breakfast with a choice of hot and cold foods. We chose this hotel for some specific resons. Easy access out of Washington for our next stay which worked well plus 3 other things that did not. Advertise a free hotel shuttle to metro station but when we asked were told that after 1 Sept it only runs at weekends. Later 50% of taxi cost was reimbursed. Has an outdoor pool which after a very hot day sightseeing in the city would be welcome but again closed after 1 Sept. Also has laundry facilities but as reception had no powder available not able to use. Nowhere did the web page advise these areas where closed in Sept onwards and we would have chosen to stay elsewhere if we had known. A very nice hotel but feel badly let down.

I have to say that - firstly - hotels in Rockville MD., are adequate at best. But this is beyond a doubt the worst hotel I have ever stayed in in North America, as rated by cleanliness. I've traveled the world, and had better cleaned rooms in 3rd world countries, to be honest. Checked in last night after a long flight from the EU. Showered and bed, then up early today. Out all day, and back to my room late afternoon. I was walking around the room barefoot for no more than 10 minutes - and notices a stickiness check the room outs on my feet. See the picture. The carpet was disgusting. Sticky, gritty and somewhat slimy to the touch. Amit, the manager had left for the day, but the young lady at reception was truly thoughtful and sympathetic. She offered me a suite on the 7th floor, but offered me the option to view the room before moving. I rubbed my had on the carpet of the suite for 30-60 seconds - see the picture - and came downstairs to show her the result. Another sticky, greasy, gritty and filthy carpet . I did not photograph the office area behind the front desk simply to protect the young lady's privacy - but that was also grimy and filthy. There are signs all over the property, on closer inspection, that this place has not been kept clean or deep cleaned in a long, long time. "Tired" is too kind a word - the carpets are disgusting. it's a health issue, it's unacceptable, and it's just disgusting. And I've a few more nights left here this week...hey ho! Just a terribly disappointing property - if the ownership took as much pride in customer service and attention to detail as their front desk staff do, this would be a very different review indeed.

Easy to get to and close to delicious Chinese food. Beds and breakfast more than adequate. Problem with shower temperature.Other than the shower temperature, the hotel is a pretty good deal if you travel with family.

We stayed here and would definitely return to this hotel! Perfect location in Rockville next to the highway. Breakfast was outstanding and another nice touch is coffee service. Also, the options were great! Breakfast and front desk staff were also extremely friendly and helpful. This is an old hotel, so be aware, but all amenities are there. We loved our stay and will recommend to others coming to DC or Local area!

My husband and I checked in after a family funeral. I hadn't slept in over 24 hours so all I really wanted to do was check in and lay down. Every hotel I've ever stayed in, I pay for my room up front in cash. However, the front desk man decided that he did not WANT to take my money and he wanted to charge my card. There was plenty of money in our account but that was besides that point. The very rude gentleman told me WHAT TO DO WITH MY MONEY AND HOW I SHOULDNT PAY UPON CHECK IN. The nerve!! So I check my account a few days later, not only did he charge my card, but it was for $10 more than my stay. Furthermore, I was granted a discount but upon checkout, you might as well have left it at the original price. Rip off! My cousins room door appeared kicked in. You could see the inside of the room carpet from the crack in the door. There were big black scuff marks on what appeared to be a opening in the ceiling to an attic or something. Weird! And the bathrooms are so small, I had to go in, push the door and then turn around. Never again! Never the hell again.

Went to The Best Western for a business trip was very disappointed when I discovered blood on my pillowcase. The Overall rating of the hotel I feel was a 5 out of 10. There was a ceiling ac unit that ran all night long despite the fact that I turned it off hours prior. There was also a old beat up or worn out clothes storage unit located by the restroom. It appeared it was purchased from either a flea market or an estate sale. The restroom toilet had a few stains on the bottom and was not very clean.

It has the elements of a very good hotel. The decor in the lobby is chic. They offer a full hot breakfast. But there are some structural problems. Water leaks in some rooms and in the lobby. Some staff members were unprofessional in negatively talking about customers in front of customers. I heard a dog barking while I was sleeping.

We were surprised this is a Best Western Plus. It is in badly need of repairs and I don't believe it's a safe choice - I got stuck in the elevator and the call button didn't work. When I finally got myself out I warned a guest about to enter and I told the front desk, and they said “oh that's been happening all day.” That's not comforting! I had to use a stairwell that was pretty much under construction, with doors open on to roof areas. There were paint buckets open in the hallways and tape holding up the wet wallpaper right outside our room (see photo). I killed bugs in our room, but that wasn't really a concern for me. Just please make this place safe for guests. I was not about to get stuck in the elevator again with my baby, and I didn't feel ok about the stairs either and that is a problem. I wish we had left when we first got there, but it didn't seem any use in complaining as the staff seemed very apathetic and unconcerned with the state of the place.

Whenever my family and I go to Washington, DC, we book at Best Western in Rockville, Md. The service is great. The rooms are comfortable. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The complementary breakfast always gets the day off to a good start.

The strengths of the hotel are the staff, clean/good sized rooms, great breakfast buffet/good food/ample seating, great location, and very fair price. The only drawbacks : ice machines were broken on all the floors but floor six and maybe one other for the whole weekend. One of our friends had to move rooms because their was a leak in their ceiling ( they were compensated but only $40). Our sink was clogged but fixed very fast. This is a very nice hotel but surely has signs of aging. The staff does their best to make everyone's stay a good one.

The hotel was clean and somewhat quiet but overall the staff was pleasant. The breakfast had a variety but it could have been prepared a little better. Things were undercooked, overcooked but there was plenty for everyone.

I've stayed here a couple times when visiting DC. The hotel has convenient access to the freeway, which is nice particularly after a long, cross-country flight and drive from the Baltimore airport. The breakfast is adequate--nothing special. The rooms are large and clean (although on one stay the toilet seat kept coming loose). There are very few restaurants nearby. The hotel is about a 10 minute drive from the downtown area of Rockville, which does have a number of ok restaurants. The hotel offers a shuttle service to the Rockville metro line (but I have not taken advantage of that).

Nice hotel in very good location. Clean and friendly staff. Is what I expect from Best Western. Would stay again. Great for leisure or business travel. No unwanted surprises at BW. Good breakfast bar as well.

As a Best Western Plus, I expected far more. What I got was this: 1. Furniture in Lobby is dirty, and threadbare 2. Breakfast is only served to 9:00 a.m. weekdays, and is mediocre at that 3. The exercise room has outdated, poorly maintained equipment , and no towels 4. The pool had no clean towels, and after I had to go to the front desk to get one, they still did not bring towels to the pool. The dirty towels were still hanging all around the pool at 3:00 pm 5. The paint on most trim is peeling and chipped This property is in desperate need of renovation, and has no business being rated a Best Western Plus I found a manager, Amit, who said he has been here 4 weeks for the purpose of improving the hotel. He did listen to the above points and was apologetic.

Stayed at the BW for multiple nights for a funeral. Staff was fantastic and accommodating for every request. Breakfast was plentiful during all hours available. Common areas have been renovated. Room needs a little updating, but an issue with AC was fixed immediately upon discovery. Water pressure is great!

As a hospitality industry professional I'm fortunate to stay in numerous properties every year, I'm well aware of the Best Western brand and work routinely with Shannon Watkins our BW NSO. In all frankness this particular property fails on many levels. It's just not a BW Plus and frankly somewhat of an embarrassment to the worldwide brand. The check-in was very lukewarm and robotic, clearly the clerk was not interested and just going through the motions. OK, next step into the room which was granted clean and adequate at best. When you check into a double/double room with 4 guests there should always be enough amenities in the bathroom which was never the case during our stay. On arrival it was missing items and throughout the stay housekeeping never left enough amenities in the room. Additionally, there was a very annoying tapping sound coming from the refrigerator/microwave area, I left a message at the front desk to assist with this issue on our way out to grab some food. This issue was never addressed via message or in person during the entire stay. The room itself is clearly dated and just tired. The only saving grace for our stay were the staff at the breakfast room who were always welcoming and kind despite being overwhelmed by the sheer number of guests on the Sunday during our stay. But, at the very least they tried to be hospitable. The front desk staff was a complete waste of time. As an industry professional if I had any thoughts of booking a future group at this hotel my stay here convinced me not to waste my time, even for a budget conscious group.

Kids running in halls until 11PM , at 2:30 AM some one unlocked room door .Couldn't have breakfast because of 300 kids . Problems checking out ,Told we where a no show , this after being there for 3 nights. Over charged after leaving. still waiting for to be corrected . Mold around tube. This isn't a plus ,after staying there for past 10 years this is our last

Disappointed with my stay on 6/4/19. According to hotel info, the building had been renovated. That is not entirely accurate. The carpet, beds and curtains had been replaced and were nice. Some furniture had been replaced but other items were old and tired. The actual renovation was done very poorly. The renovation in the bathroom was the tub surround which was done very poorly. The bathroom tub faucet dripped all night. When you touched the faucet to turn it on/off it seemed as if it was going to fall out the backside of the wall. No other renovations in the bathroom. The ceilings/walls were gross. My experience with the staff was alright but my coworkers chose not to stay at all due to the rudeness of one day time female staff member.

This hotel is falling apart. The walls are scratched up, the mirror is torn up and the chairs are ripped. All the vending makes loud noises and the beds aren't comfortable. The front desk employees are very kind and doing the best they can, but they can't control that their employers are trying to get away with not making any updates since what looks like the 80s.

Ruth checked me in and was kind and helpful and was the highlight of your stay. The room is very tired and in need of an update. The floors in the bathroom were dirty and there's was a lot of hair throughout the bathroom. The air conditioner did not go below 72 degrees. The breakfast is very limited however the employees in the breakfast room were very kind. The staff are the stars of this property. And I appreciated the bathroom amenities (shower cap, sewing kit, shoe shine).

No hot water and very low water pressure. For the price I paid, this was not my expectation. We were unable to access the wifi. The staff was unable to help us access the wifi. Breakfast was good. They need to clean up around the waffle area more often. Some people are not very neat.

Quick and easy check-ini. The room was clean and it had very good internet connection. Great selection of food at breakfast, from eggs, potatoes, bagels, oatmeal and pancakes Plenty of parking and felt safe in this area .

Air conditioning didn't work, could not adjust hot/cold .in shower, hair dryer was burnt out. Had to move to different hotel. Priceline was able to get a refund for the nights we did not stay but they refused a refund for the 1 night we stayed in hell. Go somewhere else. A totally awful hotel. Old and poorly maintained.

Horrible experience so far. I do NOT recommend this hotel. The lady at the front desk and the lobby are the only two nice things in this hotel. Once you get on the elevator, the temp jumps about 20 degrees and the humidity is very high. Our room is soooooo hot! They said someone "looked" at it, but nothing else. It's 11:30pm and we have to leave early so we are trying to sleep with the VERY loud HVAC fan on which has a bad vibration which makes it worse. The thermostat does nothing. it is set at 40 degrees and it's over 80 in our room and very humid. The bathroom looks like a 5 year old tried to patch holes with drywall mud. The lamp is stained and the walls are filthy with scratches. One of the pillows had small red/orange spots on them. It's on the floor now and we are hoping it's just rust stains. I wish I could upload the video of us sweating in the room with the loud hum of HVAC fan in the background (not just normal fan noise, but horrible vibration noise). I am not sure why, but when we came to our 4th floor room at about 11pm, there was a security guard sitting in a chair in our hallway. Is there something we should know?

I paid over 200 dollars for the first night stay and expected a 4 star room. What I got was a poorly lit. Wallpaper and trim falling off, moldy, room from the late 90s. The water pressure was poor and the ac only worked when it wanted to.

The door to our room jammed every time we tried to open it, often not opening at all without help of someone inside the room, the beds were comfortable but creaked loudly whenever we turned over, sink didn't drain, AC didn't cool enough, crappy repair jobs to bathroom ceiling. Pieces missing on mirror over sink, and on bottom of bathroom door. Not up to Best Western standards.

We stayed here 2 nights...1 on our way to VA and 1 on the way home. We had a king suite which was very nice and spacious. The staff is very pleasant. Highly recommend. The rooms and grounds were all very clean and well maintained.

Clearly, management in this hotel isn't conscientious enough to take care that everything's in good working order. One bedside lamp had no electric outlet and the other had one. The desk lamp had two outlets, but only one worked. Had to move furniture to plug in a medical device. Base of walk-in shower didn't look good at all, possibly mold. Everything else was fine. Front desk service, breakfast, and parking were all great. Add another star if you can put up with bs!

We are into day 4 of our 10 day stay here. I booked a 2 room executive suite for a very good price. The day before they emailed me a link to check in online. I did that and then it asked if I wanted to send a message to the hotel. I mentioned that I was staying 10 nights but would not arrive until almost midnight and please set aside a quiet room for us. We arrived and they put us in a wonderful room. Really quiet and huge. The staff have been wonderful and the breakfast has many choices each day. Parking is free and plentiful. We used Google Maps to get here from the airport and it took us right to their front door. The room was nicely cleaned and is serviced every day. We could not be happier. Close to the 270 highway is very convenient. This will be our go to hotel when in Rockville.

This property was in great condition for cleanliness. I will be bringing an 8th grade group of 300 students and staff in June. I am confident in the ability to supervise and use the facility in a positive manner.

We stayed here during the cherry blossom time in DC. This was a good choice as we could take the shuttle to the metro, then into the city. I was pleased how quite it was in the night, no noise from the hall, or outside traffic. There is nothing remarkable about the room, but we felt we got our money's worth, with a pleasant stay.

Hotel looked nicely updated. I paid extra for a 1 bedroom suite and everything seemed fine but the room got warmer as the night went on. I switched the thermostat to COOL and we went to bed. I woke up an hour later sweating. After checking the vent it was blowing hot air. At 1 in the morning they couldn't do anything for us except to move us. I finally got a window open a little to cool the room down. Bed was hard but pillows were soft. Breakfast was good. The manager discounted my stay, otherwise my rating would be 1 star. Avoid room 206.

The rooms are great we really liked the size and the decor. Lot's of artwork around the hotel that was really cool! The shuttle to the metro was very convenient and the breakfast was A+, we really liked the waffles! The team was terrific, truly helpful!

The reason why I booked here is because I needed a place with a living room and a microwave to heat my child's meal. I got a suite room with a view of a covered pool and unsightly construction site(and the noise that goes with it). When arrived and checked in with no one helping us with our luggage to the room considering i had a child and elderly with me. It almost felt like this was an empty hotel, as it was too quiet and dark. Old interior. Expect to eat the same breakfast daily. We stayed for 5 days/4 nights, eating bacon, egg, sausage and usual bread/cereal/waffle, and coffee/juice. No room service, they only serve breakfast. The airport service they got us was a really old cadillac costing USD 95 to Dulles,the driver was an old wonderful gentleman though. I would not stay here again. Only option to eat across the street is Chic-Fil-A

We r there on the holidays to washginton with friends and family the rooms r really great with excellent fixture and the staffat front desk is realy great, we r all pure vegetarian and they served us a great veg. breakfaston our request. whenever I will there i will surely stay there.

I used this hotel as a back up plan to FairFeild inn that had a hot tub in the executive suite to this executive suite at best western without an operating refrigerator to cool our beverages. Then got accused of stealing there cheap pillow and bed spread. I only found out I was charged via my credit card application notifying me. If you another option it's probably best you canceled if best western is your only option.

Best hotel stay with professional staff to assist you, excellent breakfast food choices, and clean accommodations. I visit with my mother who is being cared for at the Collingswood Nursing Facility across the street from the Best Western Plus Rockville Hotel & Suites. I never have to be concerned that I will have the best accommodations and rest at this hotel, therefore, my visits with my mother is my only concern. Thank you!

The hotel was very neat and clean. You had a lot of food to choose from for breakfast so you definitely would not go away hungry. Nice location for where I had to go for my business trip. I would go back again for pleasure or business.

The room was nice, but the toilet handle didn't work so well. You had to hold it down while it flushed. The staff smiled but was stand-offish.One thing I didn't understand was why are there only 2 places with the name on the vote on it—up high on the building or street level facing only 1 way. If you are following gps and trying to look for the name of the street you might miss the sign. There's no name on the awning (good location for it), the sign on the building is way too high from the parking lot. If there wasn't a bus in front, I would've asked inside. Why is it a secret? Why are there no signs around the construction directing you to the hotel? Dis this and earn another star.

The hotel lacked adequate signage, the room was too cold and the bathroom sink faucet leaked. the staff was polite and helpful. The breakfast was average, but the low temperature in the dining room made it difficult to enjoy hot eggs.

Excellent location for our stay. Hotel was close to where we needed to be. Hotel shuttle provided service to the Metro and return. Hotel was remodeling but we were never disturbed. Staff was courteous and professional.

Close to everything you need to have an enjoyable stay in Gettysburg. Clean and well kept hotel with all the amenities you would need. Located across from Heritage Center where they can help you map out your day to create a great visit.

From being told at 9am that I would have to pay a full nights stay to check in before noon(never in my entire life of traveling). After driving around for 3 hours on a Sunday smh, we finally check in to a hot, dated room. Beds were HORRIBLE, 1 bed was 2 mattresses on top of each other no box spring. Imagine the wobbling. The other madeca sound as if something was breaking every time we got in our out. Would never stay here again

It is a very convenient location. When all the construction is completed it will be an even greater and convenient place to be. New Fitness Center, restaurants and hopefully shops. Ease of getting on and off of highway.

The room on the top floor was large, clean and included refrigerator and microwave with King bed. Parking was close and free. There was free WiFi and hot breakfast. Shuttle to local restaurant and metro was advertised as available on the hour but they took me immediately to a nearby shopping center. The lobby was large and pleasant, and there was a pool but I did not see it this trip. Elevators were fast and luggage trolleys were in good working order. Only downside were the landscaping disarray due to construction and the hot water which seemed to arrive after my shower. I'm told they are expecting a full-fledged restaurant addition soon.

This updated Best Western was exactly as advertised - a clean, comfortable room with easy access to major highways. We had everything we needed to be our overnight "quarters" while visiting family in the area.

We spent one night at this hotel. If you're looking for a pet friendly hotel that is reasonably priced, this is the one. Staff was pleasant and helpful. If there was an indoor pool I would have given it a perfect score. Also the breakfast is good but there weren't any non-dairy options.

This hotel has by far the nicest front desk staff. The location is excellent for anyone wanting to make a quick trip to DC or even just to stay locally and visit the local sites.Hotel staff here are kind and understanding. They try to help with every situation that may arise.

The Best Western in Rockville is clean and comfortable. We got to know Ebra, Loza, and Julio by name, but all the employees are very helpful and friendly. They have fantastic shuttle service to the Metro and to Rockville Town Center. It runs every hour on the hour from the hotel and is on demand for the return trip. The breakfast is far superior to that of any other hotel/motel, IMO. We didn't need to stop for lunch in the city. Minor complaint: The silverware was NOT placed at the buffet with the handles up. This is not very sanitary, IMO. Can this please be remedied before we return again in the spring? Also, can you please use real eggs again like you did the last time we stayed? On the weekdays while we were there the eggs were not as good. I thought that they might be Egg Beaters. The eggs on Saturday were better, and I thought that they were real eggs. The last time we were at the hotel, the eggs were the best I had ever tasted. Will we be back in the spring? Yes, we will stay there again when we are in the DC area.

My stay was Sept 17-21, 2018 and there was renovation taking place on the outside. The plus: Very comfortable atmosphere inside and the staff is very friendly. There's breakfast but I missed it but the coffee is great! The location is great; convenient to Rockville shops and movies. The con9s): the beds are way too soft! It was like sleeping on marshmallows. No support.so bring a board to go under the mattress..

My stay got off to a bit of a rough start. The air conditioning in my room would not turn on. Maintenance arrived and said that they had recently installed a new thermostat and were having trouble with it, but they eventually got it working. After dropping off my luggage and going out to dinner, I returned to find my door lock inoperable. Maintenance was called again and was able to get the door open (there was nothing wrong with the key), but the air conditioner had stopped working. Faced with these issues I requested, and was granted, another room and had no further issues, although this would have been a more serious problem had I arrived late at night. The room I ended up with was clean and comfortable and had an older thermostat, which worked properly, although the AC was a little noisy. The staff was very friendly and the hotel had everything I needed, including what I thought was a far above average included breakfast. I especially appreciated hot bacon, which is often not found in hotel breakfast rooms. The free wifi worked fine and there is a free shuttle to the metro station on the hour. You can call for pickup at the station at any time. There's a somewhat hefty parking charge at the station, so if you can coordinate with the shuttle you'll save some money. From the station it's about a 25 minute ride into DC. There are places to eat reasonably close by, but you'll need a car. Fortunately, the hotel has free parking. I spent four nights here while in the DC area and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to family and friends.

The hotel looked beautiful and clean. The room was very roomy and well laid out. It was a very relaxing experience and it was very nice to be able to "spread out". I will definitely stay at this location again...and again.....and again.

Stayed three nights recently on the fifth floor. Easy check-in with gracious staff. Room was clean, good furnishings, fast internet & nice toiletries. Adequate space plus a small refrigerator & microwave. Breakfast was fine - lots to choose from. My only complaint was the noise from #270 all through the night. If you stay here, bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. The hotel though was very quiet.

This isn't anything I am used to nor should guest be subjected to when attempting to have a relaxing weekend. I was extremely tired from traveling on business only to be overrun by a legion of roaches. I had only been in the room for 2 hours, saw 3 left... contacted the front desk showed her the video of it crawling on the wall, which was “mistaken” for a stink bug. I assured her it was a ROACH. Before leaving I decided to check my belongings ONLY TO FIND 2 more in my bags. The associate saw them and killed them in the lobby. I can only imagine how many more I would have seen had I stayed longer. I contacted management regarding the problem and he attempted to reassure me that this was an “isolated” incident. I am not sure how much “isolating” you can do with roaches.

I really like this place, had a little issue with the window not being sealed properly but other than that it was excellent. Staff was on point, and so was breakfast. Had great lighting and shower felt really good! Loved the showerhead!

I always stay at this Best Western Plus when I am in the DC area and it is obvious I would go some place else if there was something wrong with the place. I got a suite and enjoyed the extra space. Everything was just perfect, from the welcome of the staff to the end of my stay. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and I had no trouble with the Internet. The hotel is in an excellent location either for traveling north on 270 or going downtown. Therefore I'll stay there again when I get a chance.

If you don't mind the smell of pot everywhere this place is ok. It was outside, in the hall, in the lobby, in my room. Mold in bathroom tub. Mattress was okay, but not cozy. Bedding was adequate. Free buffet breakfast was cold food, understocked supplies.

The bathroom was in horrible shape, chipped, dented and stained. Cracks had been badly repaired with a broken sealer. I called and the very nice person at the front desk gave me a room with a nicer bathroom. Even here the can from the heater was very, very loud. Went for breakfast early and the food was the absolute worst I've ever had in a hotel breakfast. Even at 6:15, the eggs were cold and actually bad tasting.. Bacon was limp and underdone, sausages were cold and potatoes part raw. I am committed to stay here for a meeting but breakfast elsewhere.b

The staff were great - always helpful and concerned that we have a great stay.We stayed in a regular room at first, very nice and comfortable. The King-size bed was very comfortable, TV worked well, Wi-Fi was reliable and there is a small business center with two computers near the hotel entrance, hotel breakfast has good selection (Waffles, Danish, Cereal, scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage - often both, potatoes, choice of juices, Coffee, Tea and some fresh fruit - Apples, Oranges and sometimes Bananas). When a leak developed under the bathroom sink near the start of our stay we were upgraded to a suite. The separate bedroom and front room, each with it's own TV was a real plus. Both rooms had an Amoire style closet with sufficient space and hangars. The hourly hotel shuttle goes to and from the local Washington Metro station. the Metro is a great way to get around the Washington DC area.

The reason why I picked this hotel is because of its location near I 270 which gives me easy access for my travel plans for the weekend. This is great location for me. I stayed at this hotel over 30 years ago and they have renovated it so it's more current and modern however it looks like some construction is still underway but that did not bother me. The room was clean and comfortable. Had to let the water run in the shower for a little while before it was hot but that was OK once I figure that out it was fine. The breakfast was OK nothing special but it's free. The bed was very comfortable Wi-Fi works perfect. I would definitely book this hotel again because I travel to this area often. I was on the seventh floor and the only complaint I have is there was a loud noise throughout the night that did keep me awake that must've been some sort of heating or air conditioning unit on the roof so next time I say I will asked not to be on the top floor

Totally disappointed. We were attending the Discovery Cup Soccer Tournament and it was a “stay to play” event. The fact that this “hotel” was chosen is an embarrassment to the tournament. The first room we were given had cockroaches. It was late when we checked in and when we went to the front desk we were given another room. That was good, but still cockroaches? The second room didn't have noticeable bugs but did have a leak in the ceiling. It was directly over the tub so we made the best of it. The hotel was not well kept or clean. There even was a garden hose in the fire stairwell partially blocking the door. The breakfast was OK. The bacon was good, so I have to given them cried for that. They did run out of some food and supplies (to go coffee cups, make your own waffle batter cups) and did not keep the general breakfast areas clean while breakfast was being served. When checking out, I did bring all the issues to their attention, again, and they “graciously”, gave us a $20 credit. Over $300 in room charges and we got a $20 credit. Gee, thanks!

Came out for a long weekend visit, and thought the proximity to the trains would make this a good stay. Upon arrival, we were placed in a very noisy room, sounded like a helicopter was hovering above the room, constantly. I asked if something could be done, and the receptionist was kind enough to change our room to a larger room on the floor below, she was great at her job, friendly, and accommodating. The new room was better, but still not very clean. The bed was just ok, and I felt itchy the whole night, which resulted in almost no sleep at all. To make matters worse, construction right outside our window woke us extremely early in the morning. Trying to get some rest was impossible, so after a few attempts of resting, we decided to go shower and get on with our day, not rested, and not happy. There was no running water! I called the front desk to inquire about the issue, and they placed me on hold to ask the technicians about the issue. She came back to me and let me know it would be fixed in the next 15 minutes. 30 minutes later, still no water. I call back, ask to speak with a manager, and I was informed that the manager would call me back, she never did. After another 30 minutes of waiting, I go to the front desk to speak with the manager, who was apologetic, but not very helpful. At this moment I was upset and anxious to leave this hotel, even though this was a Friday and we were staying till Sunday. I asked if I could get out of my reservation because I could simply not stay at a place like this for any longer. She informs me that I would have to contact booking.com, due to the fact that I booked through them, and have them make the decision of whether I can cancel my reservation after staying there for a night. Booking.com were amazing, called up the hotel and asked them to cancel my reservation so that I could go elsewhere. The Best Western Plus Rockville then called my room and let me know that they spoke with booking and had refunded me the amount paid, and asked whether I could leave the room ASAP so that they could send housekeeping up. The water came back and ran brown for a VERY LONG time, pictures attached. Oh, and our tub was not draining properly either, so the water just sat for ages in the tub. At this point, the hotel staff and I were both eager to get us out of the hotel. I was told that I would get a full refund, but I am still waiting for the money to be returned to my card. The lady at the reception let me know that they had released the money, but my bank says the hotel needs to release the reserved amount, and they have yet to do so. Hopefully, that will be sorted swiftly. I am grateful for the front desk staff at this hotel, they were kind, friendly, and helpful. I was disappointed in the manager on duty, as I felt as though she could learn from the ladies I spoke with at the front desk on how to better treat frustrated and unhappy guests. Unfortunately, the front desk ladies were the only redeeming qualities of this hotel, and I hope they take the time out to make this place better for future guests, their prices are the same as other, much more comfortable hotels in the area, so they should strive to be better.

Good rates and so, so lobby – need to aupdate (more than just bright purple cushions) to replace worn chairs and couch seating. Could use some accessories on tables and around the room for it looks too sterile. Staff friendly at the desk and very willing to help. Breakfast is as described, a buffet, and not very warm. Limited selection - waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon and terrible re-heated potatoes and one selection of sweet rolls and changing fresh fruit and yogurt. Carpet on dining room platform and steps needs to be replaced. Meeting rooms look small and are not ready for “prime time” as is looks like they are used for storage. Parking ok. Easy access to I-270 nearby. Rooms were a bit small and could use a bit of freshening up. Clothing wardrobe small and ice bucket and plastic glasses stored on top. Windows need a severe cleaning. Ongoing construction and lack of signage cause some issues trying to find the front door.

We made our first visit to Washington DC this week and stayed here. This hotel is far away from any food places, and we ended up ordering pizza two nights there. It would have been convenient to have the bar and restaurant open not just for breakfast. The breakfast was good, always enough to go around and kept clean and fresh. The shuttle ride to and from the metro wasn't bad. I would have liked to stay closer to DC however. It was about a half hour commute to get into DC in the morning and at rush hour it was awful. Not bad at off peak times.

The hotel and room was exceptionally clean. Had everything we needed. Amenities were provided. Pool was closed and that was a bit of a disappointment but I guess since it's September? I didn't ask about it. Beds were very comfortable. Wifi worked well. I had assignments to do for class and completed them in time. Breakfast was offered at reasonable hours and had something for everyone. No complaints about the food. All service personnel were very kind and helpful. Water pressure in the shower was awesome and had plenty of hot water. I'm a smoker so going down the hall to the elevator and outside around the side of the building was a little inconvenient. Overall great stay and if I ever get to this area again I would definitely stay at this hotel.

Uncomfortable beds.Breakfast food was not good. Breakfast area not clean. One staff member was walking around chewing food by the serving area. It was digusting! Left 2 items behind. One found and is supposed to be mailed to me. The other item had 87.00 in cash in it and I was told that was not found.....dishonest staff.

Be careful before wasting money on best western. Bad experience.I will never come back. Bugs in the room, noise, hotel is not clean at all. Bed making noise. Never again. Breakfast was horrible and disgusting

When looking for a weekend getaway in the DC area for Labor Day, I selected this hotel because of a great stay almost a decade ago. Unfortunately, time has taken its toll on both myself and the hotel as a significant building/remodeling project was underway. In my own case, I've since been relegated to using a wheelchair about 99% of the time. I'd reserved an accessible room and requested a low floor in the event of an emergency evacuation. The room I was given was on floor 5 (out of 6) and not accessible. In fact, I couldn't even get into the bathroom and needed to use one on the first floor off the lobby!!! The 2nd floor poolside restroom was also not accessible. One of two primary elevators was down the entire weekend and shortly after we reached our room, the OTHER elevator went down for several hours as well, which put a serious cramp in dinner plans and had me sweating about getting back down. I was happy to see that the hotel's shuttle was lift equipped but that was quickly crashed when the driver at first didn't even realize that he even had a lift, then refused to try it. I brought this and several other complaints to the attention to the clerk at check out in his presence and he changed his story again to not believing that it worked. On Sunday, our final full day, we decided to go shopping and try to relax, but found some tool had parked their Accura in the handicapped lift area and my wife had to pull our car out for me, plus I had to jump the curb coming and going with the sidewalk ramp cut was blocked. (I'm pretty sure said tool is a player for the Atlanta United soccer team who was playing DC United that weekend and they were staying at the hotel as well. I'm glad you got beat.) A few positives...breakfast was still good & I know not to eat the potatoes because they load them with onions and peppers. The first floor restroom handicapped stall, while tight, was equipped with its own sink so I could wash up in relative privacy. I didn't use the business computers this trip, but had no problems with the public wi-fi.

We booked this place to break up a long journey. We'd had a long summer working away and we'd missed our wedding anniversary so when I booked I put in a cheeky request for an upgrade. To my surprise this was honored and we were upgraded to a really nice room! The only problem was that the AC was really loud and rattling and we couldn't get online. When I called, the guy at the desk didn't seem to care but I pushed it with him and he came up personally and opened up the master suite for us which was like a little apartment. We got online for our Netflix and then had an amazing and quiet sleep! You can't ask for more than that! The breakfast was an appalling display of sugary garbage but that seems standard with this kind of hotel. The value for money here was excellent and the staff were accommodating (despite needing a nudge). I'd stay here again.

Got a nail in my tire from construction going on at hotel. Also some construction going on close by within the entrance. Manager would not acknowledge. Black mold in my suite. Water temperature didn't work in the tub.

Lifeguard always present at pool which was very satisfying, since my daughter is 5 years old. Shuttle service was amazing. We called from metro station and shuttle was there in 10min. Food was great. We really enjoyed our stay.

My Husband and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in August. We had previously stayed there for 2 nights in July 2014 and the rooms have been on a downhill slide for sure. There was construction everywhere of offices around hotel, hotel did not have any entrance or exit markings to register. The hotel receptionist was polite and friendly upon our arrival and the lobby was attractive. However upon entering our room that was another story. The wallpaper was peeling, the sheets did not fit, the microwave was old and was difficult to operate, the pillows were small and completely old and lumpy, the bathroom faucet was crooked and falling off the tub, the mirror above the sink was chipped. Basically the room needed complete renovations and was many years overdue. This room should not be allowed in a Best Western Plus and my husband agreed that we stayed in a dumpy hotel. We had stayed in a beautiful Best Western Plus in Henderson, NV in May and we would have been happy if this one was 1/10th as nice. NEEDS COMPLETE RENOVATION

I brought my 94-year-old father here for a local overnight outing. The front desk staff were very pleasant, and the room was clean and comfortable. I had requested a room near the elevator because of my Dad's mobility, and the lady at check-in mentioned that our room was immediately straight ahead when we exited the elevator. The room was well stocked with amenities. The free breakfast buffet had warm and cold options and was better than most I had experienced in other hotels. Dad and I were both very impressed, and we look forward to a future stay.

Managment was very unprofessional. They make changes to your bill without telling you. I checked out two days ago and I am still being charged for things. I wish I read the Google reviews before I booked a room here. I will never stay at best western again.

Hotel was nice and presentable. Although it was near main highways and there was construction on the other side of the parking lot, neither bother us during our stay, even at nighttime. Room was nice and looked like it had recently been updated/renovated.

My stay was very good. We arrived late and noticed there is construction around the hotel, but it didn't interfere with the hotel. Desk person was very accommodating giving me a room near the elevator. The room was spacious, and clean. The beds are high so if you are short(like me) you might need a step stool. There was a wide screen TV and good internet. There was a refrig, microwave and coffee maker. In the morning we could see the cranes moving but heard no noise. Breakfast had a good assortment,eggs,bacon,sausage,home fries. There was hot and cold cereal, a waffle station.Bread,toasted if you wanted,pastries,fruit and yogut. Coffee and juice bar. I have booked this hotel in October for another stay.

We generally stay at Best Western when we travel in the U.S., but because of reviews we had read, we were not sure about this Best Western Plus in Rockville. We decided to give it a try, since we were staying only for 2 nights. We had no problems at all. We found the room spacious and clean, with a modern large-screen TV and efficient internet service. Our room was on the 6th floor, which we found to be very quiet. The breakfast options of scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon, waffles, danish pastries, etc., were more than sufficient. We would have no problem staying here again.

Breakfast definitely needs more variety on hot items same choices get old quick if it's an extended stay...staff was OK nothing over the top....room was dated and shows its age hotel in need of renovation to stay on par with other newly renovated Best Westerns...I would possibly stay here again if on a budget.

To the management, It made me disappointed when check in with group but no help from hotel to take care of heavy luggage. The carpet in room is not dry and bad smell that make me sore throat. Looked nice in the pictures, was so much outdated, not to say the smell in the lobby was horrible, dirty. The bathroom was disgusting we had hair on the bathroom door, mold on the ceiling, this could go on and on and on....even the refrigerator was dirty inside had coffee everywhere. We had to wiggle 20 time handle to get in the room. The only good thing was the waffle maker.

From the perspective of a 14 year old... Recently went on a DC trip with my school we stayed at this hotel. The rooms were not as high quality as some. It is just a place to sleep. The beds were very comfortable other than finding a few hairs from previous guests under the sheets (which you would sometimes even find in more expensive hotels). The bathroom was okay, though small and crowded. Depending on the time you were taking a shower depended on the temperature of the water. The room had blackout blinds over the large window which did a good job of keeping the room quiet and dark overnight. The room also had a large flat screen TV. We had no problems with house keeping when we came back at night our room was clean and had fresh towels. Went to eat breakfast in the morning, because we were part of a large group we were put into the small ballroom and another large conference room. These rooms were very run down. Wouldn't recommend looking into the light fixtures to see all of the dust and dirt. Chairs and tables were comfortable. There were not very many decorations inside the conference room. The highlights of the ball room were some cool glass lights. The food was okay our group got some eggs. We also had bacon or sausage, potatoes, and French Toast sticks which were surprisingly good. There were also two types of cereals (cheerios and corn flakes) which I ate. They also had good “light and fit” yogurt and some juices, coffee, and water. No fruit options other than some apples and oranges. I would want some fresh fruit options such as cantaloupe or pineapple. It appeared that in the regular breakfast area these fruits were available along with other options, such as waffles, bagels, etc. Had no real interaction with staff that I could give them a review. Other than the staff serving breakfast was very attentive. Overall an average hotel that would be okay for the price.

When I read the other reviews, I had to wonder if I had stayed at the same facility. I stayed two nights, about a week ago. It took almost half an hour to check in. When I got to my room, there was no heat. I called the front desk, who sent up someone to check the (excessively loud, non-functioning) heating unit. No luck. He left, saying he was going to try to get another room for me. About a half an hour later, he returned and told me he had gotten me an upgrade to a suite. I packed up and headed off to my new suite, and discovered... Guess What... NO HEAT!!! By this time, I was too tired to fight, so I just went to bed. Breakfast the next morning was the typical hot/cold buffet and was fine. The next morning, however, I arrived an hour after breakfast had started and found nuked bacon, burnt, dried scrambled eggs and refrigerator-cold sausages. Yummm. I opted for an overripe banana and a small yogurt. My suggestion: next time you are in Rockville, check out alternative lodging.

3 separate occasions we contacted the front desk about a problem in our room (missing tub stopper) and all 3 times it was ignored. The problem was so easy to fix but they ignored the problem, continually.

We arrived pretty frazzled from the crazy DC traffic( probably as bad if not the worst I have seen in the USA). We were pleasantly greeted by a good receptionist and found our rooms to be clean and tidy. They offered to enroll us in their frequent visitor plan which we immediately did. I always partially judge a room by the quality of the shower and their showers were good. Would stay here again if I have to visit Rockville again.

I always stay at this Best Western when I need to be in the DC area: I can drive to the Metro (Red Line), leave the car in a parking garage and be downtown within half an hour to visit museums or in the National Archives doing research, I can also drive out to any place in the US without having to go thru' town. The staff is very friendly, ready to help if need be. They make you feel welcome. The rooms are large, many have been renovated. The only thing missing for the time being is a restaurant for dinner but it will come.

Blood stain on the rugs, thermostat does not work, furniture falling appart, paint patches hanging from the ceiling, more suitable for school outing stop than family or business stay. Could not sleep since each day a new busload of kids run across the corridors

Beds are comfy, hotel needs an update, construction all around means little parking, heating/cooling works in some rooms not others, pool closed, some door handles upside down, tacky art, staff poorly trained and don't follow through on requests. No restaurants within walking distance. If you can afford a little bit more you'll be happier at a different hotel.

I stayed here on April 7. My rate including taxes was 102.47. I checked in and signed the registration for that amount. Imagine my surprise when a short time later I got notice from my credit card company I was charged 119.06. I checked with the front desk this morning was told they always add 15% then refund after checkout. Clerk then pointed to a placard at desk. I pointed out placard said that only applied to debit cards but I used a credit card. She said I would get it back in about a week from my credit card company. WHY are you charging the extra 15%? This is a franchise location. Does best western know you're doing this? And if you are tell customers. It shouldn't be a surprise.

Very pleased with our stay. The location is close to a Metro station with lots of parking making it very easy to get into DC. The breakfast is pretty standard but was well tended and continuously stocked by very pleasant and courteous staff.

This Best Western continues to meet ore exceed all guest expectations. I especially enjoy the wonderful hot buffet breakfast. They serve every possible food and drink that anyone could possibly desire.

Stayed there for a week in a king suite. Outside of rush hour, it is a bit less than 30 minutes to downtown DC. Pros: good breakfast, very friendly staff, clean, easy to park, very good wifi once you were able to connect (took a few tries), very quick access to the 270, fridge, microwave and coffee/tea maker made the trip with kids easier. Contrary to others, found the walls to be quite thick, never heard any noises, even between the two sections of the suite we were in if the door in between was closed. Cons: the hotel phones never worked in our room, king suite was advertised as two adjacent rooms, each with windows. The one we were given had a window in the room that had the bed, but not in the living room. There is some construction at the back of the hotel, noise started at about 7:30 am. While the breakfast was good, it is only served from 7 to 9 on weekdays, we found that to be a bit of an issue with the kids. Never used the shuttle service, but it seemed to be running constantly. Would recommend for a couple or people without kids, but advice to ask for a room that faces away from the construction, which would likely face also away from the highway.

The Hotel offered individual "Thermostat controlled AC/heating system" This however is not the reality. You have AC in the summer and Heat in the winter, but on a warm day in the winter your room may get to 80 degrees F without a way to cool it off so you have to try to sleep in very warm room as the windows are also fixed shut. The noise from the roof fan vibrates the room all night. So much for a good night sleep. I just wish they had offered a true fact as how the temperature is controlled.

I stayed at this hotel overnight during a drive back to New England from the South. I chose this hotel due to its location. It has easy on and off off the highway and because it is dog friendly. The dog fee was reasonable at $20 per night. I also liked that there was a fridge in the room. I have some negatives such as the HVAC unit not working well. The room was extremely warm and I had to sleep with the window open. The bed was extremely high (I am 6 foot and when I sat on the edge of the bed, my feet dangled at least six inches) and extremely firm. I could not get the free wifi to work. I was unable to try the free breakfast because you have to eat it in restaurant and cannot take it back to your room but I could not leave my dog alone in the room. As mentioned, ideal for an overnight stay. I'm not sure I would recommend it for more than that. It was good value for the cost.

This hotel is right off 270 and Montgomery Ave - Decent rooms, clean, maybe a little dated, but adequate - Free breakfast is 'edible' if you are not on a diet, or real picky about eating uber-healthy - Staff is friendly and helpful.

Couldn't get temp lower, even on a snowy, icy night. Overall- good value for the low nightly rate- I stayed here rather than drive 2 hours home in bad weather, and I would do it again.

My room has been clean and I didn't experience any issues except “hotel living” issues... loud neighbors/thin walls, kids running in the halls, etc. Staff have been very friendly during my interactions. While I haven't eaten breakfast here; it has smelled delicious. The hotel can use some updates/repairs (cracks in ceiling with evidence of previous caulking attempts, no vent in bathroom) and there should be a manual television guide (rather than just channel 01). Overall it serves its purpose but I'd love to see this have a remodel overhaul.

Its winter, I've been on the road and I need a hot shower. My bad luck (or their poor maintenance) that the hot water system went down. Stayed here last summer, and the Saturday night party noise was unbearable. Seems like something is always going wrong. Plan to find another hotel for my next trip to Rockville in the spring.

Christmas Day visit with family and The Best Western was very close by to the relatives. We were greeted with a smile and welcomed to the hotel. The room was decorated very nicely and the bed & pillows were exceptional. The bathroom showed some wear and there was some mildew behind the door. Our morning breakfast downstairs had a variety of good eats, fresh eggs, sausage, beacon, fruit, cereal, etc. The downside was there was no heat in the dining area and it had to be one of the coldest days in the area. There was some building going on around the property and some of the roads were closed off. Checkout was fine and the staff apologized for the no-heat situation.

Stayed here last night. Delightful experience. Friendly staff, clean and spacious room, wonderful breakfast, gas station across the street, and close to main street in Rockville. Will stay again since it is also pet friendly.

This is an amazing stay! The breakfast is amazing and is included in your room stay along with free parking and the amazing shuttle. Couldn't ask for anymore. Would recommend this to anyone who has to stay around the DC area. Shuttle to the metro or to downtown Rockville absolutely wonderful. All staff are amazingly friendly and helpful.

We have stayed here before and it is our go to place when we are in the Washington, DC area. It is clean, well maintained, and spacious. The staff is excellent and willing to be both professional and helpful to the Nth degree. The amenities are great. The breakfast is something to behold and since my wife is diabetic, this hotel is one of only a few who take this into consideration and we are grateful for this thougthfulness. We highly recommend this for your active consideration.

We have stayed here before. In fact, we only stay here when we are anywhere near Washington, DC. The price is right for all the amenities they offer. The staff is beyond helpful and professional and courteous. The breakfast is worthy of a 5 star restaurant (especially since my wife is diabetic and she can eat here. Other motels/hotels we have stayed in do not offer this ability so we feel our money is wasted since we then have to eat out somewhere instead of having our free breakfast). The offer of a shuttle to the Metro-liner means we do not have to drive when we go downtown and this is a pleasant thing for us. We also would like to commend a young lady named Ruth who checked us in when we entered the hotel. She was the nicest person to us the whole time we were there and helped us when a problem arose and did it cheerfully and quickly. Thanks, Ruth.

Everyone of the staff was very helpful. The staff allowed us to check in at 9:00 am without any problems, even though official check in time is 3:00 pm. The staff is very accommodating and go out of their way to help you.

Staff is always nice and helpful! This particular hotel does have an odd smell, but you get used to it after about 10 minutes. Rooms are clean, small when you have two beds...1 adult and 2 kid or 2 adults in room. I wouldn't be able to share the double bed with someone.

I enjoyed my 1 day stay. The bed was comfortable and as able to get a good nights sleep after a long drive from Log Island to Philly then to Rockville. Easy access to Washington which was my next days drive. The free breakfast was very good.

This hotel is in a nice location and is good for the price. I have stayed here twice. A little updating could be used in the hallways and rooms but overall it has been clean. The complimentary breakfast is good with eggs, bacon/sausage, potatoes, waffles,etc...; however, it would be nice if they changed it up with biscuit and gravy once in a while. There is a free shuttle that takes you to downtown Rockville where there are a lot of good restaurants and shopping. The shuttle will also take you to the Metro. There are no restaurants in a safe walking distance. The people who work there that I have encountered have been pleasant and helpful. I will stay there again.

This is a very nice hotel. For the price you pay it is all worth it. The personnel is nice, helpful and professionnel. For a family with kids, the breafast is very convenient. The location is also very much appreciated.

I really don't want to complain about this hotel. The rooms were clean and quiet, and that is what I really needed on my Friday overnight in November 2017, I give it a 4 - 4 1/2 stars and not a 5, simply because I did not feel a welcoming attitude from the front desk. To add to this, I found the breakfast missing a number of items. However, in fairness to the staff, there appeared to be a school group staying at the hotel, and the staff might merely have been a bit overwhelmed. I found the maid service friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

This hotel is very convenient to DC and north western suburbs. Personnel are friendly and offer excellent advise on what to see and do in the local area. Free Breakfast : fresh fruit, yogurt, hot oatmeal, waffles,eggs, potatoes with peppers and onions, sausage and bacon strips, mini muffins and danish. Juice varieties-OJ, cranberry, apple.Hot chocolate...Front desk helped us use member points for a free night.Maintenance changed the broken fridge in minutes even though it was Thanksgiving Day! Bed was nice and hard as requested and room temperature could be regulated to our liking. Even the windows open to let in fresh air. Stay here, especially if you have a lot of folks to feed....you should not be disappointed.

Room was filthy. Dead bugs in sink, bldy fingerprint on tissue box, remote stuck to bedside table, musty odor. It was probably the dirtiest hotel i ever remember staying at. Never would stay there again, not sure if i would ever trust a Best Western again.

We stayed at this hotel 3 years ago and remembered it as a nice clean place. Very disappointed experience awaited us when we entered the rooms. The rooms are old and shabby, the "grandpa" closet was far from a place you want to hang your clothes, the heating system made noise but did not heat the room. The beds and linens are old, the matress "sinks". The bathroom needs big renovation and water faucet leaking. Saved half the money staying here instead of a few miles down the road in Bethesda. Took a while for the heat to adjust. Nice hot shower, clean bathrooms. Not a recent remodel, but comfy beds for the price. Breakfast buffet is good for a quick continental type, but didn't care for the hot options. If hot coffee and a light breakfast or waffles are your thing, you would like it. Perfect for business travel.

The hotel during group invasion does not offer 1 quiet floor. Paid for a Suite and terrible children noise until 1200am. Fine do not offer a floor, what about one hall. Food average at best nothing was warm. Room gave option 65 degrees or after repair 75 degrees for the remainder of stay. No, I am not a one day a year visitor. Over the last 4 years I have stayed here 8-9 times each year. From a 4.5* hotel to a 3.5 at best.

They turned the water off at 9am in the middle of the week and the notice to the guests was on the front desk. How are guests supposed to see that. Water was to be off for 2 hours and was off over 3. Needless to say, I missed my conference b/c I was not able to shower or brush my teeth

Very Nice, great location, access to all we needed, we stayed with a soccer team for a large tournament, we had a very early Sunday game and the hotel got the breakfast started a little early for us, would definitely stay there again

We stayed here after a wedding as it was where our extended family wanted to stay. It was dirty. The bed was “dented” permanently on one side so very uncomfortable. The shower head was hanging unattached from the wall. The door to the room had a gap through which the hall way was clearly visible (which means people from the hall can see in). There was mold growing on ceiling above the ac vent. This was just gross. Best Western Plus = same nasty hotels Best Western has always been just with a few prettier accents...like they threw some granite like stuff around the shower walls. DO NOT STAY HERE if you are accustomed to the standards of some other chains.

The rooms were very dirty, We were there for a soccer tournament and had no hot water and heat was not working.The rooms had dead flies on the window sills and the walls. Dirty towels at check in and a "used" sock in the corner.

There was a very strong odor of natural gas near elevator's but staff just didn't care. Only after I refused to stay did the staff stop making excuses and called the manager. I will give them credit for not charging me for the night that I checked out early.

First suite: Bed surrounded by over 40 dead flies. Second "suite": living room with no windows; dark; completely dilapidated, noisy blowers, run-down, smelly, worn-out linens, filthy carpet. They absolutely REFUSE to let you speak to manager. But for dealing with family problems that required our attention, we would have run screaming from this place. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! It is a HORRIBLE place.

This hotel is fine if a tourist is looking for value accommodation. But the hotel is far below the 8.1 rating stated on a website. It is tired in terms of its furnishings, bedding and fixtures. It would require a major re-fit of everything to get it above a rating of 6-7 (out of a scale of 10). But currently it is barely a 4.

I stayed at Best Western Plus for two nights, and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. My room was comfortable and well appointed, and the entire hotel was clean and attractive. I especially appreciated the shuttle service, which I used twice to travel to the Metro station to visit DC. Great value and great location for the price. I highly recommend this hotel.

A stay at the Best Western Plus is like being home but away from home. The breakfast menu has a variety of selections. The beds are comfortable and the pillows are very soft. Being very professional, the hotel staff go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant and accommodating as possible. I will always stay at BWP and will encourage others to stay as well. If you are a rewards member, DO NOT use this establishment. They do not care about you. I am a diamond member and they usually recognize you as you are checking in along with giving you a snack and thanking you for being a member. The woman said "I see you are a member.. Please sign this. " and that was it. Door broke on the second morning we headed out. Door would not close and woman at the front (same that checked us in) did not understand and did not seem like she cared. Light fixture was falling off the wall and mini fridge was not working properly. Also, walls were very thin. Loudest hotel I have EVER been in and I travel frequently.

We needed a hotel that was reasonable for visiting our daughter who is an American University student over parents weekend. Staff js friendly and helpful, room is good size with fridge and microwave. I wish the b beds were a little bigger. They show some signs of age but not bad. The parking is free and the breakfast is incredible- eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, waffles, muffins, danish, toast, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, coffee, and juices! The gentlemen taking care of the breakfast are very kind and work to make you very happy. One man didn't think my eggs looked fresh so he went and got me new ones! This hotel is perfect for staying at when you are visiting Washington DC! We will be back!

Whenever I have to go anywhere in Maryland, I always try this hotel first before trying any other. The stuff is very pleasant and friendly. The hotel is clean and having a complementary breakfast is definitely a plus, especially with a large family.

Pleasant. I give it 3.5 stars Not bad for a suburban hotel. There was no indication of a fitness room and I might have used it. Trip advisor wants me to pad this out but I see no need to do such a thing.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for an overnight. We arrived late so we did not get a chance to really appreciate all it had to offer. We found the room very comfortable and the hotel staff very pleasant and helpful.

We were very happy with the amenities at the hotel and with the centralized location to the highways/beltway that got us around to various locations we needed to go.. We had problems with the t.v. and there was neither a printed guide nor one on the t.v. The staff tried to help, but they were not very knowledgeable about it, so we struggled to find stations whenever we turned it on. Since we were there 7 nights, that was frustrating.

Lack of hot water, poor mattresses, black mold in bathroom, poor quality breakfast. Hotel is run down and needs attention in a lot of areas. I won't be staying here again even though it was cheaper than most others in the area

Could not heat room - their system was still in air conditioner mode. Their solution was to offer blankets. TV has no guide channel and the hotel cannot/will not provide a list of TV channels. They no longer have an in hotel bar/restaurant.

We chose this hotel because of it's proximity to Washington D.C. Our room was comfortable and we had a full breakfast each morning before we headed out to see the sites. I use a wheelchair and the shower was a walk-in and had grab bars.

Property needs some updating carpeting and paint; but the staff are great and very helpful. The location of the hotel to DC is very close if you like driving the beltway. Lyft or Uber off hours (not rush hour) is reasonable.

I was very disappointed in this location. The internet said they had a restaurant and bar yet both were closed. They somehow lost there liquor license. Also I stat at BW all the time and the breakfast is great with a ton of choices, not at this location. The front desk staff was not the best either. They say the restaurant and bar will be open again soon which will be nice as there is nothing in walking distance to eat.

On Rockville public bus line to Amtrak and metro. Good sleep and breakfast. But no good dining nearby. Have stayed several times over past few years and will go again. Staff is friendly. There is free parking.

I spent a totally miserable night because the hotel was in the process of updating its HVAC system and there was no heat. At least this is what I was told when I complained when I checked out. The room was 58 degrees and I could barely sleep. Now I am sick with bronchitis. I'll never stay at another Best Western. I was not even offered a discount or anything.

We stayed for a sight seeing weekend in DC. great, quite and clean hotel. My only suggestions would be more of a variety, and healthier alternatives to greasy bacon, sausage and under cooked potatoes.

excellent accommodations very clean. staff very friendly and accommodating. the only item of concern was breakfast. the eggs were warm and so was the sausages and bacon so it could have been warmer. coffee ran out but was refilled within 10 minutes

We drove from Atlanta to New Jersey at the last minute to attend a wedding for beloved family member. We were supposed to stay with family who at the last minute was not available. As Best Western Platinum Rewards Member we searched for the nearest hotel, showed up after 12am to check in hoping they had anything available, and they gave us the King Suite for the price of a double and it was the best room we have ever stayed in at a Best Western Property and It was a last minute decision that turned out to be a blessing.

The staff needs serious training. The guest rooms needs renovation. They need to purchase more bell carts. I usually give a good review, but this hotel doesn't deserve it. I did like the breakfast and shower water pressure.

We cannot say enough good about this hotel. What a nice surprise. It is by far the best we have stayed in, and we do a lot of travelling. The entire building is tastefully decorated, with beautiful lobby and large, attractive guest rooms. The breakfast is the best we have ever had in a hotel - scrambled eggs, real bacon, real sausages, homefries, waffles, and all the other usual items - yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, muffins, pastries, juices, selection of coffees. Some really nice touches unexpected -- real plates, cutlery, mugs and glasses in the breakfast room, a night light on the bedside clock, complimentary shuttle service to the Metro station, downtown for dinner, or anywhere you wish within a 5-mile radius, coffee available in the lobby 24-7. The staff are wonderful -- very friendly and helpful. Also, it was very quiet -- no noises from trafffic, slamming doors, elevators, talking in corridors. We can't say enough good things about this place -- we loved it. Excellent value for price.

The hotel was ideally situated for our needs and is easy to reach, being just off the Interstate. The suite was roomy, clean, comfortable and well appointed. The staff was always courteous and professional, making a point of greeting us every time we encountered them, creating an atmosphere one would expect more of an intimate B & B than a large hotel.

My family and I stayed here a few times during our trip to DC. It is a very affordable hotel (especially using Expedia which knocked $40 off of the bill every night we were there). My kids loved their large breakfast and their shampoo/conditioner set that come with the room. An accommodating and amazing staff. It is a very clean hotel. It is in a good location with a great bus service which will bring you to the metro. I highly recommend this place!

When you book, ask to not be only the top floor. The buildings ac unit must be on the roof and the sound is very loud. Otherwise the stay was good. Breakfast was adequate and the breakfast area was very large. Our room had a mini fridge which was nice. A lot of eating choices within 10-15 minutes. I would have given a better rating if not for the annoying noise.

We travel a lot with a pet in our family. So when I'm pleased from beginning to end I have to let everyone know. The staff and ease of having a clean room with a pet , good breakfast and pleasant atmosphere definitely deserves a 5 star. All staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was probably the best I've seen they kept it fresh and pretty awesome selection. Thanks definitely recommend.

Great location. Adequate Service. Staff Professional. Breakfast complete and on-time. Shuttle services a Plus. Clean and equipped. Cablevision limits. Make sure Ventilation what you specified. And that Telephone works. Did not use Pool, have no knowledge of that area. Lobbies clean, safe and furnished. Business Center has working Computer access, and attractive furnishings. As well as, the Sports Center/Coffee Lounge. Uber Drivers ALL knew this location.

I travel extensively for business, can stay anywhere I want. I chose this hotel because of location to work. After checking out at 4AM in the morning on the 2nd of a scheduled 5 day stay, I can say, I should have stayed anywhere but here.. Bad service, food, dirty grounds, dirty hotel, unskilled staff, lying staff, terrible entry points (1), loud noises constant and I stayed on the 7th floor. But the main issue and my warning to anyone who may decide to stay here is the building is sick, literally. The ventilation system does not circulate the air, the cooling system is a weak central system (even though each room has an independent thermostat, the truth is they do not work). The Air quality in my room went from low to RED or dangerous in the 36 hours I was at the hotel. (I use an Air Quality Monitor because I have asthma, which only causes me problems when the O2 levels drop below 60%.. Or in high humidity.) After asking the staff for help they sent their "engineer" to "fix" the problem. He laughed at me, said there was nothing he could do and left. At 3:30 AM my dog awakened me, desperately trying to catch his breath. Thank god because I was barely conscious, immediately opened my door to try to get air into the room. We immediately made our way down 7 floors to the outside. And we lived... When I told the front desk about my reasons for leaving, she simply smiled and said it was my decision.. I was incredulous, and told her I was going to contact the Maryland department of Health.. She smiled and laughed, I left So I warn you, if you want to stay in a place that may kill you or at the very least get you sick...go for it. BTW - Maryland Dept. of Health could care less

The price was good. Breakfast spread very nice. Breakfast staff very kind and accommodating. All staff generally nice and accommodating. I asked for a late check-out of one hour beyond normal checkout time and it was accommodated with no question. The lobby and hallways have a weird smell. Carpets in rooms not clean enough for my standards.

We didn't feel comfortable at this hotel. There was something about its atmosphere that was very unsettling. We can't put our finger on anything specific, but it just didn't feel right. It did have clean rooms. The blackout curtains didn't go to the bottom of the window and the breakfast was 2nd rate, but otherwise it had all we needed.

I stayed here for one night for business. When I checked in they had misplaced my information so I had to start over and check in took 30 min. When I got to my room it smelled of cigarettes and the entire floor did as well. The next day my body was covered in bite marks and after showing one of the bugs I found to a doctor they said it was a form of lice. I called the hotel multiple times and they could care less. I have tried to reach a GM but he has "stepped out of the office" every time I call. They have done absolutely nothing. All my work clothes smelled like cigarettes and I have doctor bills because of this stay. I tried the fitness center in the morning and their equipment is getting ready to break. There is no way they had any recent inspection of any part of this hotel. It is unsafe and full of unqualified people. I sleep in hotels 4 night a week because of work and there will not be a best western in my future anytime soon.

The Best Western is not a flashy property, but the staff are wonderful and the price is extremely friendly and helpful. I enjoy staying here. The location is just off of 270 so is very convenient for business travel. I recommend staying here, it is a great value.

Clean room, with a nice hard mattress as was requested. Tasty hot breakfast of eggs, sausages, roasted potatoes, yogurt, hot cereals, waffles, 3 kinds of juices, and fresh apples and oranges! Eat a late breakfast and you can skip lunch!

Our recent stay at this hotel was disappointing. The outside of hotel and lobby look nice. The hallway to our hotel room smelled like cat urine. The wallpaper was falling off the walls and tacked back on in certain spots. The room thankfully did not smell like urine, but the bathroom was covered in previous guests hair. The hotel does not feel clean. Overall, the whole hotel didn't feel clean. Most mornings the breakfast area was missing all juices, coffee, and hot chocolate, and even waffles. The breakfast area was not somewhere I enjoyed trying to eat. All the chairs were dirty and had stains on them. Outdoor pool only which is only open until 8pm on the weekends and 10pm on weekdays which seems backwards. No towels by the pool either. The area where the hotel is located is pretty and not too far from D.C. Hotel staff was just eh. Hotel has potential, but is just very poorly run right now. You can tell the staff just doesn't care. We asked to speak to a manager, but were told they don't work the weekends which may be a part of the problem.

Nice hotel, not too outrageous $$$ for the area. Metro station is a bit far though they have van service hourly. They took an hour to come pick us up later. The drive in isn't too bad outside of rush hour, plenty of parking.

Lobby area of the hotel is super modern and fancy! A nice walk-in to be greeted with. The staff we came in contact with our visit were friendly. Room was nice, and for being right beside the elevator, you couldn't hear comings or goings of anyone. The tub drain was dreadfully slow. It almost made me want to find a Walmart to get some draino, to tell the truth. Bathroom was tiny - as long as the tub - there wasn't a way to not have the door shut if showering or on the toilet. Not that it shouldn't be closed, but just an example of spacing. No exhaust fan, so good luck not having all articles damp once you're done a hot shower. As such, the door jamb at the floor is rusting, and paint is bubbling on the celing, and as I said, good luck having the door open for some kind of ventilation. The sink was slow to drain as well, just from hand washing. Beds weren't exactly the most comfortable, and the feathered pillows aren't, either. Sheets and blankets were soft, though. Woke to the sound of the elevator dinging repeatedly, though not loudly - somehow it had jammed on our floor with a guest inside. Luckily my husband is a vollie with out local FD, do he was able to get him out before the actual local FD arrived. Breakfast was superb, with real dishes and glasses and mugs as an option, toast, oatmeal, waffles, eggs, bacon and potatoes as well as yogurt, coffee, milk and juices. Staff were very nice and kept everything full though busy on a Sunday morning. We didn't get to enjoy the pool as they have funky hours of which I thought I took a picture of, but now can't find. Parking on the old restaurant (though the binder of hotel information states it is open, it isn't) side needs to be better lit at night. Glad I did a Hotwire deal, all in all.

The Hotel was great and the star went out of there way to make sure that we were taken care of. The hotel rooms were great and we enjoyed the stay. The breakfast was the bomb and the Belgium waffles were fantastic!! The BW located in the middle of the waffle was an added touch..! Great Job!

I had booked this hotel after going through the previous reviews and it was really a nice stay for about 10 days in July, 2017. The staff in the reception are very helpful and courteous. The room was neat and clean and kept very well. I would certainly recommend this hotel to my colleagues if they happen to visit Washington DC and surrounding areas.

The room is noisy. The noise is from the roof might be the air conditioner compressor.. Bathroom vanity is not clean. Water leaks from the roof of the bathroom. Sheets are wrinkly. Everything is outdated. Some of the staffs are not friendly. The lobby floor is full of dry flower from last night's wedding. The breakfast is not as good as other best western. Location is OK

This is a nice hotel. Convenient and free breakfast. But they had an "emergency water repair" which caused the water to be off for over 3hrs. I couldn't shower before I had to leave for my meeting, and I had to buy a bottle of water just to take my medication. Front desk was not helpful or sympathetic or apologetic about his problem.

My overall experience was moderate, until the reservation that I had was not what I thought I had in the system. Though accommodation was made for the extra night. I did not like being displaced and the comment that was made by one of the staff was not appropriate.

Room decor dated, initial room had leak plumbing facet and smelled very stale, like wet dog. We requested the plumbing to be fixed, when that could not be accomplished , we requested and were immediately granted another room with no questions asked.Breakfast was nothing special, staff in hotel courteous and friendly.

This hotel, in Rockville located just a few hundred yards from a major artery highway into Washington, was a sanctuary from the workdays. Clean, quiet, comfortable, one of the most enjoyable stays ever.

The staff is very kind and helpful. The hotel and the rooms are very clean, very well equiped. Breakfast is a good choice with wide variety. Free coffe are offered for the guest all day. The outdoor swimming pool was very clean, towels were provided for all the guests.

This hotel is reasonably priced and offers a lot of value for what you pay. Make sure you put the "do not disturb" sign out so that they don't wake you up :) Other than that, I was very pleased and would recommend this hotel to everyone.

The Front Desk staff provided excellent customer service attentive to our every need. The breakfast items were a variety and the restaurant environment very clean. We will return whenever we visit Rockville MD again.

We stayed there for my Nephew's wedding - room was nice, beds were ok - to springy but adequate - staff friendly Breakfast was great and for those that are Kosher Travelers some of the items were kosher too !

I have stayed her many times. Easy access to metro. The staff is very nice. Rooms are dated but clean and well kept. Free breakfast. indoor Pool. I do not know why you have to have 200 words it keeps people from posting.

Bedbugs was the name of the trip. Management did nothing. Have bites all over my body face and eyes. Had to go to ER. Got meds and antibiotics. I've heard nothing from Best Western. I would never stay here again. Awful.

I stayed here over a three day weekend in DC. It's a great value for the price, and very close to the Rockville Metro station. Check-in took longer than normal because I was using my bank card and they have to charge you in full if you don't use a normal credit card. Which is pretty standard. The room was quite big with plenty of room to move around. The bathroom was on the smaller side with minimal light, but not bad. Breakfast was lovely - just the basics - eggs, potatoes, meats, bagels, waffles, etc. My only complaint, if you can even call it that, would be with housekeeping. And I did address this with the front desk on my way out, so they were aware. On my second day there, I left my towels on the racks so they wouldn't be replaced (in the interest in being more 'green') When I got back to my room that night, they had replaced every towel with a new one. So on my second morning, I put the door hanger asking them not to replace the towels, on the bathroom door. When I got back that night, they had taken my used towels, but didn't replace them. It wasn't a huge deal since I was checking out that morning, but still - I didn't even have a towel with which to wash my face. Otherwise it as a fine hotel for the money. I would definitely consider another stay here for a weekend in DC.

Good place to stay, location is a little far from food places, had to order delivery due to inability to find close restaurants. Overall was a good place to stay and would recommend this hotel. Pool looked great to.

Have stayed at this location several times when visiting the D.C. Need I say more? Very nice facility - comfortable beds, great breakfast options. Would highly recommend to others who don't care to spend $150+ per night.

I am a Best Western Elite member and was using points and gift cards from them to pay for our daughters room and ours as well but was charged for incidentals and was told that they would be refunded when we checked out, they weren't and we are a week after now and those charges are still pending on my account so that money is still tied up.

If you're looking for sn I e pensive hotel it will do. The staff was great. Pets allowed and we had two barking friends across the hall for two hours. A staff member opened our door without knocking. The carpet in the room was very stained.Breakfast was just ok.

We were very happy with our stay even though it was for only one night. The facility was clean and inviting and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was better than usual for self-service. If in the area again I will consider staying here again.

Welcoming, friendly, professional, helpful reception staff! We truly appreciated the shuttle. Lovely location. The breakfast was fresh and promptly refilled. The outdoor pool was larger than most hotel pools.

Although the hotel decor could use some updating, it was very clean and comfortable. The staff members were helpful at all times and made us feel very welcome. The shuttle bus service was greatly appreciated and the driver went out of his way to accommodate our needs.

How does a Hotel reception area smell like clean shampoo? I do not know but it was very inviting. Cool and modern. This is by far one of the best Best Westerns I stayed at. The staff was so professional and went out of their way to help guests. From answering many tourist and direction questions, to getting those set up to go to the Metro, and off to the nearby highways. Setting up extra towels, pillows, linens and bath ammenities. Our king room suite had a decent size mini fridge with a freezer compartment and a microwave. The sofa bed was super comfy. The hotel itself was super quiet and had a nice outdoor pool. The breakfast area is large and can accomodate many people. The servers kept it properly clean and refilled the hot breakfast items in a timely manner. They also have a small coffee bar near the reception that has 24-hr hot coffee and hot water if needed. :) I used their Business center and easily printed out map directions and airline check in tickets. It's far enough away from DC to have great rates and close enough to either drive in or take the Metro. So worth it.

Everything was good, meets or beats expectations. No issues or complaints whatsoever. Perhaps that was coz as part of our road trip we stayed at a variety of places and hindsight allows for a fair comparison.

Had a room on 7th floor, 1st room from elevator. Between the air conditioning unit being on the roof right above my room and the noise from the hallway of the elevator, it was extremely noisy! Had a miserable night sleep! When I told the attendant at check-out all she said back was "OH".

We stayed at this BW for one night. Compared to other BWs we used to stay, this is the worst. It has strange smell, poor ventilation and bad mainttenance. Also, people ran around in the hallway and made high noise. We could hardly fall sleep.

Good hotel, a little outdated. Good basic breakfast. Small but nice gym. Great hotel and restaurant staff. Access to major highway (270). Plenty of parking spaces. Nice lobby and good WiFi signal. Second time and will return.

They need to train the breakfast staff on food handling, storage, and safety. This falls on management, not untrained staff. They did serve real eggs, bacon, sausage links, waffles, etc. The hotel had some upgrades but was a little worn. There was evidence that the staff made great efforts to keep the place clean. My only concern was the food handling and storage. I have made recommendations to the manager,. I would try them again--but would skip the prepared breakfast if I didn't see some changes there.

Good place to stay for a reasonable rate, 25 mins, drive to the District. Good breakfast, large, clean room, helpful, yet no always best informed staff. Unfortunate, that the TV-sets in the rooms don't carry any of the "serious" channels, if you want to find out, what Mr.Trump did again, you have to descend to the lobby, where CNN is available. Lot of parking space.

Comfortable bed but not worth the room rates. Hilton, Marriott and Homewood are all located within 5 minutes from one another and offer more attractive accomendations such as the fitness room, pool and kids room at a better room rate.

If you would like to stop into the bar for a drink and maybe a bite to eat,do not come here as there is no bar. I was there in Dec.2016 and was told by management they were getting a bar and great food.I returned in May of 20017 and there was still no bar.If you do not care for a nightcap you have no problem.

My husband is an NIH patient and this hotel offesr NIH rates which is so accommodating. Stayed here because it is easy access on and off from Bethesda. Made morning travel bearable and traveling to and from hotel between tests easy.

I usually stay at another chain of hotels. I was very pleased with this hotel. Friendly, efficient staff at the desk. Quiet hallways. Large comfortable room. All the necessary toiletries in the bathroom. A mini frig and microwave. Large desk Free WiFi. The Restaurant has an included breakfast buffet. Fruit, juices, cereals,eggs, sausage, potatoes, a wide variety of breads, waffles, etc. And, a large seating area. I was very pleased and will return.

Overall great hotel. No complaints. Needed a cork screw to open a bottle of wine, surprisingly they had one! Little further away from D.C. Then I wanted but this would not impact my decision to stay again!

The room itself is spacious and clean. The service was good and the breakfast was tasty. The problem is the very loud noise coming from the highway even to the top floor. The shuttle to the metro is important but it runs only until 21:30

My brother and I stayed 3 nights at this hotel. Very pleased with our experience. The hotel shuttle saved us a lot of money back and forth to the Metro and dinners. Our shuttle driver on 1 night stayed past the 9:30pm cutoff time to provide us a ride back to the hotel after our server took way too long to get us our bill. Stella was outstanding! Very friendly and always greeted us as we came back. She gave us great advice and tips for visiting DC. We are planning on staying here again next year!

Location - easily accessible from the highway. Gas station across the street (though a bit more pricey than others within 2 miles). Free Internet with good speeds (but I never downloaded a video or lots of files so can't comment on its capacity). Free parking. Free breakfast - bacon, sausages, eggs, bread, cereal, fruit etc. Don't expect plush towels or bedsheets but room was clean, beds were reasonably comfortable, microwave and fridge in room. We keep staying here on our annual family visit as good price offered with free cancellation up to day before visit. One negative this time was the very noisy vent system.

One of the reasons I stay at this location is because of the shuttle to the Metro, sometimes it takes TOO long for the driver to show up (30 minutes) but he does. The bed is very comfortable and the linen is too.

Very convenient location for us. We stayed 5 minutes from the place where we were going for wedding ceremony and party. Hotel room was clean and shower was working at its best. .Beds were comfortable. Towels were changed every day . Breakfast was big and excellent and coffee was strong.Also we used hotel shuttle to get to Metro and from Metro .Highly recommend this hotel for its free breakfast and shuttle and nice rooms.

There wasn't any variety of restaurants within walking distance. Loved the coffee and hot water in the common area.There was a little store in the lobby area. The breakfast area was clean and stocked every morning.

We stayed here again since they are very close to relatives living in the area. They have done some renovations and they look good. For us it is perfect. The rooms are clean, the bathrooms are clean and operative and the prices are good. They serve a full breakfast which is included. The food is ok and a convenient way to start the day. The staff seemed friendly and helpful. We'll stay here again.

The location of this Best Western made it very easy to get to. It was really nice to ride the provided shuttle to and from the Metro, not having to fight the traffic or pay for parking. The ride on the Metro took about thirty-five minutes to get to the mall area, but it wasn't bad at all....except for the evening the Metro was having track issues. The only fault we had with our room was that the bathroom was very small. If we were to return to D.C., we would stay here again.

The hotel was a basic place to sleep. It was clean, but nothing special. Same for the breakfast which had eggs, bacon, waffles -- but no fresh fruit. We spent two nights there, and after the first night, they didn't even give us new shampoo/conditioner -- we had to ask for it. Agree with another reviewer about the shuttle service. It only runs on the hour, which is very inconvenient when you want to be in DC at a set time -- and have to leave 45 minutes earlier than you should have to. Depending on traffic, that shuttle ride can take a while, so this is not convenient to DC -- However, they do offer FREE parking, which hotels any closer to DC will not.

The hotel in general, the rooms (we had a suite), the breakfasts and the in room wifi were all good. The breakfast was pretty standard these days (eggs, potatoes, sausage and bacon, make your own waffles, pastries, cereal, yogurt, etc.) but good, well presented, and the room was kept clean. Wifi was great. The two room suite had lots of room and was comfortable. The shuttle service to and from the metro station is not as advertised. To the station (a 10 minute trip) goes every hour on the hour. However, the return is advertised as "on call." In fact, it apparently is the return trip to the hotel (10-15 minutes after the hour. We called a couple of stations earlier for a pickup and were told that the shuttle would be there at 5:10pm. We were not happy. We arrived at 4:35. At 5:15pm I called again and was told that he was almost there. Ten minutes later he arrived. Thus, it took us one hour to get from the station to the hotel. This service definitely is NOT "on call" and to advertise it as such is false advertising.

Room was very comfortable for 2 adults and 2 children. Close to metro parking and many restaurants. Staff was pleasant and breakfast was nice. Our AD unit wasn't working and we were sent a repairman within 10 minutes. Would recommend strongly.

Stayed in Best Western Rockville,MD. Air conditioner didn't work first night. Second night the weather got very chilly and the heat didn't work. Was woken up in the middle of night by security looking for some unruly kids. don't know why they thought they were in our room. Went out for the day and came back to find all the handicapped spots blocked off for work that was going to start two days later. I needed the handicap spot. Staff said they were sorry. The staff were all very polite, efficient and friendly. The rooms are large and well appointed with TV, internet, iron, fridge, microwave and coffee maker alongside the bathroom requisites. There was plenty of hot water, the WiFi was great and we found the bed comfortable. Breakfast has a reasonable but repetitive choice and we were fortunate that it wasn't overly busy when we went down so we could access the waffle maker and toaster. It is self-service so some areas had got a bit sticky if we were later down. We were happy enough to rebook for later in our stay after a mini road-trip.

The hotel was nice. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast buffet was above average. The rooms weren't brand new; they showed some signs of wear. They were clean, but not spotless (a couple of hairs in the bathroom, the "clean" remote was dirty). The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were a good size.

Large bedroom with door closing off large separate living room. Space allows in room exercise and privacy. We were visiting family for holiday. Easy to get to highway for DC area. Staff accommodating. Always get junior suite or Executive King if you want more space and privacy. Reasonable rate for space.

The rooms were cleanly. The staff was professional. Free breakfast the following day was better than expected. Great location. Shuttle service downtown and to the metro was very convenient! We will be going back next time we visit D.C.!

Stayed one night in Rockville for customer meeting in the morning. Cherry Blossom season is alive and well and very few hotels were available. That said, the hotel was about 25 minutes from the customer site. Arrived late and found the hotel well staffed, friendly, and provided me my keys. First signs of issues was when I turned on the water to the shower... red water... hmmm... maybe I don't need that shower after all. So I just changed into my p.j's and pulled back the sheets... dirt and hair were between the bedding and fitted sheet.. Too tired to bother, so I just slept on top of the bed. Will never book this place again.. never.

The location of the hotel was perfect for the purpose of the trip, family visit, however the sleep quality was pretty bad, bad mattresses. I would visit again in hopes that the mattresses in the rooms were better. Also, it would be nice if there was a gym.

I enjoyed my stay with the exception of no a/c. The hotel controlled the air and it was only heat since it was November, this is what I was told by maintenance. Not good, I opened the window to get air.

We were recently passing through the Rockville area and needed a pet-friendly hotel for one night. We chose the best western for the location, the free breakfast, and the fact that they are pet-friendly. The room was very nice. Breakfast room was large with plenty of choices and the staff kept refreshing the food and cleaning up the area. Upon check in, the desk clerk was prepared to offer us a list of area restaurants. I don't think our two dogs were ever on an elevator before, but since we were on the 7th floor, they quickly figured it out.

Selected this hotel based on the reviews, and they were accurate. Good location - can get to the Metro via shuttle, and Town Center is accessible for evenings. Good price, looks pretty new; the bathroom looked a little tired although clean, Nice hot free breakfast. Friendly professional staff. Good sleeping accommodations, but the HVAC system was quirky.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. The room is big and clean and the employees in the hotel are friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay and the breakfast was awesome. The area surrounding is beautiful. I recommend it to everyone.

Location is great and they provide a shuttle to the subway a couple of miles away. The lobby looks and feels new but our room felt very tired. It was spacious and clean but for a Plus hotel, I feel they need to refurbish. The breakfast is excellent and the hotel personnel were courteous and helpful. Would stay again for the price.

My husband and I had an excellent stay at the Rockville Best Western Plus. The breakfast was excellent with many options, including gluten-free. The shuttle to and from the Metro that takes you into DC was terrific. It made the trip smooth as we did not have to navigate the city traffic ourselves. The room was clean and the shower water was hot with great pressure. Overall, we loved our stay!

While visiting family in Bethesda, MD we stayed here and really enjoyed our stay. It had easy access from the highway and it was very comfortable. The only downfall was that there was no transportation to Dulles airport besides taxi or Uber, which were a bit expensive.

We had to travel to Walter Reed for doctors appointment and needed a hotel at a decent price not far from the base. The staff were really nice and helpful. The room was just as comfy and clean. We will definitely stay here again.

We have a meeting in the area -- The group booked a few rooms online in Best Western. It is a nice hotel to stay. Breakfast is convenient with choices. Staff are friendly and helpful. The room is clean and pleasant. I recommend the hotel to other guests.

This is my first visit/stay ever with this hotel, unfortunately bases on my experience I would not stay again: Hotel staff was great. Overall Cleanliness of room 1/5. There was mold/mildew in bathroom on shower wall and on baseboards. The shower curtain was cloth with no plastic liner, though it says no smoking the room reeked of cigarette/tobacco smell. Cosmetically the room needs a pick me up, old wall paper and peeling paint in room and bathroom.The breakfast was complimentary however everyone doesn't eat Pork products, there should be an option of Turkey or beef bacon or sausage. Hotel staff was pleasant. But won't be back unless changes are made

Friendly and attentive staff, nice breakfast options and dining area. Free and adequate parking. Public areas and room were very clean. I stayed in a king suite which was very spacious. Check in and check out was a breeze. Free shuttle to take you to nearby restaurants. I would definitely stay here again. Great experience.

Absolute a nightmare! Because we were moving out of the new house before the new place was ready, I booked for 21 nights at the Best Western at Rockville for 21 nights. The hotel is old but in acceptable conditions (visually). It's 5-8 minutes away from the Rockville Town Center, but also right beside the highway. You can hear the passing traffic clearly. The most horrific part is bedbugs. From the first or second night, I noticed 3 bites in a line on my forearm. I told myself: we packed luggage for 21 nights, it's a ton of hassle to move to somewhere else. Maybe these are just mosquito bites. Things didn't go better as I hoped, every night I got some new bites, including my back, thigh, neck & shoulder, then even my chest. On the sixth or seventh day, I couldn't take it any more - fearing for another bite and the possibility of brining the bugs to our new house kept me awake during the night. We checked out after only staying for 7 nights. The front desk staff were kind and sympathetic. They tried to accommodate in any way possible, including switching us to another room. Unfortunately it didn't help because the bugs probably contaminated our luggage already. The hotel manager refused to refund us the first week of stay, and never called us to apologize or follow up with their status of "investigation". Please save yourself all the headache and nightmares and DO NOT STAY in this hotel!

Very nice hotel, convenient location, and they have a free shuttle to take you to the subway, but in early Sept, their pool was already closed for the season - why??? We could see the pool from our room ( & the water in it was already pea green - gross!), and it was over 90F outside! This part of the world is often still hot until mid-October. We had hoped for a swim to cool off... no luck. Breakfast was good.

First off the front desk personnel was very helpful. My stay was pretty good up until the Sunday morning I realized my child was very quiet. I went over to check on her and she found a opened condom wrapper. Now honestly it was between the nightstand and the bed. I didn't check under the beds because I felt like this hotel was extremely clean. Hotwire rated it to be 3.5 stars!!! Boy was I wrong. A few hours later after checking out I noticed two red bumps appeared on my arm as if I had been bit the night before. I hope they are not bed bugs. I have tried to get a refund from the Hotel but they are unwilling to assist me because I booked my hotel through hotwire. I would not recommend any one go here. If housekeeping cleaned the room correctly they would have clearly found the condom wrapper. I do plan to speak to corporate. There is no telling if my child contracted anything from playing with the wrapper and hotel management could care less!

Our overall experience at this hotel was very positive. The room was good except for the carpet. They moved us to another room and it was less dirty and worn but both rooms need their carpet replaced. The breakfast buffet offered lots of choices of hot and cold items--very good. Callaways, a restaurant onsite, was closed for renovations so a negative was having to drive a few miles to get something to eat although they do offer shuttle service within a certain mile radius.

It was a good hotel for our soccer tournament, closest to the tournament would be ideal but the drive was easy and without traffic.. The breakfast was great. The kitchen even opened up earlier on Sat. just to accommodate our very early game! We had quick service, free parking and great rooms. Our room was very cold but the hotel responded quickly to change the temp/settings. I wish the wall control functioned so I could adjust the temperature myself.

Stayed here one night, business. Web says restaurant. None. Wasn't told on phone that it had closed / weeks prior. Breakfast was not what was promised. Not even in correct room. Check in staff was so-so. Lady was great, young man was snip with customers. ?? No reason. Room was perfect. Except NO heat. Maybe wasn't turned on yet??? Stay again?? Kind of far from DC. 270 is practically across the street, but then you have the DC traffic. I'd pay extra & stay closer if planning on DC visit. Not a visit? It'll work.

This Best Western Plus was excellent for our visit because it was convenient, clean and easy to access once we figured out the exit roads on I270. The beds are comfortable and clean. The staff was helpful and professional, The coffee choices were very good and tasty, almost like the B/W hotels in Europe. The sign on the edge of the road was partially covered by a tree or bush and I almost missed the entrance--please fix.

I reviewed this hotel on YELP as I really enjoyed myself. It was spacious and clean and I loved it. The breakfast was great, diverse options, clean and tasty. The staff was friendly and courteous. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

On the first trip to Rockville, this hotel was very good. Besides having great room and well organized with everything a guest needs, yet the hotel provides you an important silence for your stay. The only thing that needs to improve is the variety of breakfast and i think when there will be own cars which make passenger transport, the hotel will be certainly the best of Rockville to its privileged location.

Escape romantic weekend from NJ, and visiting family in MD. Superb, courteous and professional staff from the front desk to the housekeeping and engineering services. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, easily accessible and temperature adjustable to taste. The beds are super comfortable. We slept like babies. The entire facility is very clean and pleasant. The free breakfast is amazing. The choices are better than a la carte, and you can make your own waffles. Fresh fruit, coffee and beverages. The breakfast is worth the stay by itself LOLs. Pleasant hotel in convenient location. Best price of equivalent hotels in the area. I stayed just one night after moving out of my home and waiting to settle on the sale of my house the next morning before moving out of state. It was a pleasant, restful, comfortable place to stay, and it was nice to have a full breakfast available.

Great place to stay - great food, great coffee and great service. We were surprised at how well this place was organized and showed a caring attitude for its guests. I was impressed with the staff and the facilities. Being pet friendly was another plus!!

Easy on/off the interstate I270. The breakfast buffet has a good variety. The bed and mattress were excellent. Got very good nights sleep the four nights we stayed there. The only thing that bothered me was that the breakfast area seem a little shabby. It needed to be spruced up.

I spent 3 nights at this hotel last week while attending a conference in Rockville. I am not usually a fan of the Best Western chain, but after reading other favorable reviews of this hotel, I decided to give it a try. I am not sure if I got a really bad room or if the people who stay at this hotel have low expectations, but had my employer not pre paid, I would have checked out and gone elsewhere after seeing my room. My main complaints: the room was dark and dingy, the ceiling was dropped down, making it feel quite claustrophobic; the overhead lights were just light bulbs in sockets with no cover; the carpet was ringed with dirt all the way around the room, and had multiple huge dirty spots on the floor (thank goodness I had flip flops- would not have touched that carpet in bare feet); the electrical outlet in the bathroom was coming out of the wall; there was someone else's hair all over the wall and door of the bathroom throughout my stay even though the housekeeper "cleaned" each day; the TV only worked one of the three nights, and there was such a huge gap when the door was closed and locked, that I could see into the hallway. Thankfully, there was a half wall between the door and the bed, so I didn't feel like anyone could peer at me in the bed. The bed was the ONLY redeeming thing about the room, and the reason this is not a 1 star review, as it was clean, well made and comfortable. Thankfully, I had a car, but as other reviews have stated, there is nothing within walking distance, so without a car you are at the mercy of the hotel shuttle. Also, it appears the hotel's main source of revenue is accommodating tour groups, making breakfast a bit of a madhouse. The first morning, I ate yogurt with a fork, as there were no spoons to be had and the second day, I had to hunt down hot water for oatmeal. The third day I saved myself the hassle and went somewhere else for breakfast. I will not be a return customer.

Everything was outstanding including the very reasonable price. Helpful staff, good parking, convenient location. Loved having the shuttle service to the shopping center. Fun making my own waffles in the morning.

Overall stay was comfortable,however bathrooms were pathetic with horrible lighting and bathtub and sinks were clogged. But they fixed it when we complained. Free breakfast was very good. May stay here again. We got what we paid for.

I loved my room! It had a fridge and microwave, so I could cut down the expense of meals during my trip. The King bed was beyond luxurious. A great stay. The only downside was the room was not soundproof, and I woke up when my next door neighbour had a very long coughing fit during the night. I hope he was okay!

Courteous staff, free wifi parking spacious rooms etc Bad: old old facilities, bath tub didn't drain properly, room next to elevator constantly being used, exercise room smelled old and moldy couldn't stay in there for more than 5 mins. Liked the coin operated lAundry option. Hotel not near much interms of entertainment but it's 2 mins from I270. Room for improvement but u get what u pay for??

We were very pleased with this Best Western. I would have given it five stars if my tablet wasn't giving me a hard time entering it. It was a great bargain through Trip Advisor. I will definitely use them again to book a hotel. This Best Western is clean and quiet, set off from the main road. Rooms were a nice size.. A very nice complimentary breakfast is served. Staff is friendly and there is a complimentary van to the metro which runs once an hour.I was disappointed that the outdoor pool was not open since weather was still warm enough. I would not recommend this hotel for Washington sight seeing. It was really too far.

In the past two years, my wife and I have driven around many states and were not able to find as many Best Western hotels as other hotels and were very disappointed because, in its category, Best Western is the best.

Sufficient in most every way to me. Will visit again. I travelled alone. Arrived for late check in. Slept reasonably well. The hotel is reasonably quiet, clean, comfortable. It is reasonably priced. I did not need much.

Enjoyed our stay here very much. Would stay at this hotel again. The breakfast got us off to a good start for the day. Hotel staff very nice. Rooms were comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the pool area, lounge chairs and tables. The kids really enjoyed the pool.

We stay at this hotel every time we visit our daughter in Rockville. Like the location to her place, and the location to 270. We will probable stay there many more times in the future. Our only complaint would be the beds. Would like to see queen size beds in each room.

This was my second stay here. The staff are very nice and accommodating - especially Tashay & Ebra. They have the best breakfast too! We will be coming to visit frequently and I will definitely be staying here again.

Near I 270 with free parking. no freeway noise heard. Except for being awakened by a fire alarm at 3 am, the accommodations were nice. good breakfast with ample seating. not too much else around the area.

Stayed in town for a weekend while co-hosting a party for my parents. Not only did we stay at this hotel, but so did many friends and relatives attending the party. This is a large hotel, with easy access to I270, and has plenty of amenities including wi-fi, a business center, free breakfast, ample parking and a pool. There were plenty of good choices for breakfast and the area was well staffed. The rooms were clean and spacious and included refrigerators and microwaves. All of the staff I interfaced with were very friendly and helpful. The only two downsides to this hotel were that the ventilation in the bathroom was weak, leaving some metal to rust; and, though common, I do not find the double-sized beds comfortable. As both my husband and I are above average in height, a queen (with better quality sheets) would be preferred.
