Best Western Plus Rancho Cordova Inn

The hotel was nice and clean. Customer service was great. Housekeepers did good by keeping the rooms clean and comfortable. It is a nice place you can visit with your family and friens. They also have golf area where you and your kids can play and enjoy your time.

No cold air, AC not working, same with lamp. The most disappointment is one bed, shhet has not been changed. This is Not a B.W. Plus. The location is great. I used to stay at the Courtyard next to this property for over a year. I would not stay here for a weekend. This is my Super Bowl weekend.

Great location, quick check in, only issue is the smokers who stand out side your room with no concern of others. when you have the heater on it sucks in the smell of cigarettes or other substances. Also this property charges a $200.00 deposit that is refundable. That to me is ridiculous, this is by no mean in my opinion a 5 or even 4 star property.

We spent 3 nights here while visiting family in Carmichael. Our room was ready on time. It was clean quiet and comfortable. Front desk staff was nice. Breakfast was very good, with several hot items. When items ran out, they were refilled quickly. Christmas decorations were very festive. We would definitely stay here again.

It was great to stay in this newly renovated hotel with the most precious Christmas decorations I've seen. Everyone is helpful and nice. If there is any question frontdesk agents are there to help. We asked for room service every day, and housekeeping ladies did a great job. Thanks a lot for this experience. 10/10 recommended.

They had a problem with my billing n when we tried to explain it to them they were telling us a different way n not the customer way of the saying customers are always right. Had to wait a week after I got home to watch my bank account activity. Finally got it right but in the process was treated rudely by ur manager in Rancho Cordova Ca

Just off the freeway, but barely noticed it. Nice Mexican Restaurant (Casa Roma), just a very short walk away. Breakfast was okay. Didn't use the pool, so can't comment. A great place to stop after a long drive. Folsom Historic district was pretty neat too!

Five stars all the way! This was my first visit to Rancho Cordova, and the Best Western made it a great stay. I arrived a bit early in the day, but the front desk staff were very courteous and made sure I could get in my room without delay (and they even upgraded me!) The complementary breakfast is great, and a nice way to start the day! If you're a runner, there are some decent office parks nearby that give a protected space to get some miles in early in the morning. I will definitely be back when next in the area!

This is a nice place, It feels really clean. Quiet location that has lots of places to walk for food and shopping, and even a stroll. Everything in the room was nicely maintained. Staff are efficient and effective but need someone to watch for people who don't live there from getting in. Wonder if there are any surveillance cameras.

Hotel was quite dirty, cleaning service was only available upon demand, internet service did not work, breakfast was mostly carbohydrates with hot entrees only if you happened to one of the first for breakfast because they were not replenished when they ran out.

I checked in and paid a cash deposit. Upon check out they would not refund the deposit. They claimed that I smelled like cigarettes as I do smoke but do not in or near common areas or entrances. They said that didn't matter and wouldn't look at video to prove my point. I travel all over California and almost exclusively stay at Best Western as they are usually clean and always affordable. If this establishment didn't want a smoker so much as staying in a room they should have said something upon my arrival as opposed to waiting to steal my money. DON'T STAY HERE!!!

We decided to change our hotel at the last minute. We wanted amenities that the other did not offer, and I'm really glad we did! Great Stay! Terrific location just off the freeway giving us incredible access to both Sacramento and Folsom. The hotel is in a business district and is surrounded by other hotels and business centers. Staff is helpful. Breakfast is hot and offers nice quick options as well. Nice pool area, attractive and comfortable lobby, secured building, self service laundry ($2.25 per wash and $2.25 to dry), small gym, and the best coffee everyday (I'm now in love with Nescafe). McDonald's and Casa Ramos Mexican Restaurant are your neighbors. Lots of families, business travelers, and skilled workers staying while we were there. Quiet and restful each night. I would stay again when in the area! A note about the entire metro area. There is a significant homeless population. Being born and raised in California, and coming back for this visit I was surprised. It did affect our overall trip but not our stay at Best Western. I felt the hotel and staff made us feel safe the entire time. My home state, however, has a lot of work to do.

Great place, was very happy with the security. I felt safe. The breakfast was good. It was clean , the pool was clean and clear. Very nice. we had our small dog, it was nice to walk her and not worry.

Very clean rooms, staff was friendly, breakfast was great and the putting green was a great amenity. Overall it was centrally located to our destination which included a golf course. We would definitely stay at the facility again.

Check in was Ok but the room was the worst I have ever had in my life . Room was small dark the refrigerator was out of the cabinet it was to go in and there was a 1 inch gap from the door cill to the door letting cold air into the room. The bed was very hard it had a steel bed frame and one mattress was sitting on top.

Overall value for Best Western Rancho Cordova is very good. I have stayed here many times, upwards of 60 nights in the last 2 years and really the only complaint is that depending on which housekeeper is assigned to your room, they will come to your door before 8am to ask if you will be staying additional nights or checking out that day so if it's difficult for you to fall back asleep and you wish to do so, I suggest calling the front desk the night before to ask them to come at a later time before check out because even if you have the do not disturb card up, they will still do this. Otherwise everything about this location is great, I believe the breakfast alone is worth the cost of a single nights stay.

The staff setup a tip jar in the self-service breakfast area and harassed us all with interference in our usage of the facility to such a degree that the staff actually got into an altercation with one guest who just wanted to eat and be left alone. Complaints about this ultimately led to an escalation that resulted in police being called. Management ultimately favored the staff, which leads me to suspect it is a family business, with the negative aspects of that coming to the fore here.

I stayed at this hotel on a Monday night. Cost for my “interior” two queen bed room was $135.00 before taxes. “Exterior” rooms were $98.00, both at the Best Western website. Exterior and interior have nothing to do with the rooms being on an interior courtyard or the exterior of the building (as I thought before checking in). It is whether they are accessed by an exterior or interior hallway. All rooms on the first two floors are accessed by an exterior walkway, all rooms on the third floor by an interior hallway. The building is L shaped. Upon arriving Monday afternoon I was very pleasantly welcomed by the young lady at the front desk. My room was clean and the bed very comfortable with four large pillows. The floor was carpeted, a large flat screen tv on the wall (which could be moved to face either bed), a quiet heater/air conditioner under the window and plenty of plug ins for my phone, tablet, etc. The bathroom was large with a strong showerhead, plenty of hot water and 4 each large & thick bath, hand & washcloth towels. I asked for a room facing away from hiway 50 and it was nice and quiet and no noisy neighbors. It was an even # room and they do not directly face the the hiway. From previous reviews, pictures and the price these rooms on the third floor are an upgrade from two lower floors. The complimentary breakfast included cheese omelets, sausage patties, make your own waffles, cold cereals, bread & english muffins, yogurts, bananas, oranges, apples, caf & decaf coffee, orange,cranberry & apple juices, milk and other items - plenty of hot & cold choices to get you started. If I stay here again I will definitely pay the extra $35 for an “interior” room. For evening dining there is a McDonalds and a very good, if a bit expensive, Casa Ramos Mexican restaurant next door.

Rude staff, check in guy behind counter didn't even have Best Western attire, couldn't get a receipt when I checked out, same excuse as the last 3 times I stayed. Why there is a $100.00 deposit on an old property like this is beyond me. Told Incidentals, there are no incidentals that would justifya $100.00 deposit Room wasn't cleaned properly, floors were filthy, bathroom walls and floors had gunny dirt build up. Heater went on all night never heating the room

Room was dirty, beds were lumpy, bathroom door was not lockable and pocket style. Can't close it. Insects and coaches were every Weber. Staff don't listen to your complaints and don't take any actions. This hotel Is terrible.

When my partner and I checked into the room it seemed ok at first. When he opened the door to the fridge there was a giant cockroach. That made me queasy. I checked the beds and didn't notice any other bugs at first. In the morning there was another cockroach in the bed, one on the night table and one in the bathroom. Also, the extra blanket was made with feathers and the feathers kept coming out. The sink was plugged up. Before I checked out I told the counter person only of the cockroaches. She was indifferent, not the least bit surprised. I told them that they need to fumigate. That's it. I checked out and I will never go back to that place again. Room 421 has cockroaches. Hopefully they will fumigate. It made for a very uncomfortable evening.

I have been very happy with my stay at the best western plus. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast is one of the best I've had for a hotel in this price range. The location was excellent alot of shops within walking distance.

The BWP Rancho Cordova is conveniently located off the Zinfandel RD exit and is close to restaurants and other hotels. The room was large, clean and utilitarian. The parking lots probably big enough but there were lots of large service trucks parked. Breakfast lacked gluten-free options.

Everything was great, all the employees are nice and helpful. I didn't have any issues. Also, the price is nice for the rooms there. I also like the pool and Gym area. Another thing I enjoyed was breakfast. Thank you so much!

Last minute trip to Sacramento so I booked this hotel on the drive up. We arrived at 9:00 pm and got our room keys for room 132. We walked in and the room seemed okay. Then we heard the a/c unit and it sounded like an airplane taking off. It was so loud. I walked to the bathroom and came back to sit on the bed and as I put my feet on the bed I noticed I made the sheets all dirty. My feet were dirty from the floor. I quickly checked the bed for bed bugs and thank goodness it was clear. The chairs and desk were dusty. I took a shower the next morning and noticed hair on the wall of the shower and it wasn't mine. Luckily we only stayed the one night and I will not be returning to this hotel again.

carpet was stained in multiple places. room smell like pee had to plug in lamps to use them. The HDMI cable was unplugged. I had to plug that into use the TV. May tried to enter our room what to do. not stir, stir. sign up at 8:00 a.m. hallways are dirty

Arrived late from airport with advance notice to them of approximate time of 9;30. Had a confirmation. After landing and turning on phone message said if I didn't call in 10 minutes reservation would be canceled!? I called said where I was and yes we were still coming. Arrived and was told " we don't have a parking space for you. You could try parking at the restaurant." Direct quote. Not ok. I said cancel. She said we already charged you. Usually that happens when you arrive so apparently they charged me as a no show. She said after talking to manager that they would cancel charge. Just spoke with them. No to reverseing charge. Not a happy customer at all.

I made a reservation at this hotel four weeks in advance of my arrival. Two days before arriving, I rechecked the hotel listing and found the price was about $50 a night less than I had signed up for. When I called the hotel, the woman at the desk said she could cancel the original immediately and told me to go online and obtain the lower price.

Good Hotel. Directions take you too Marriot next door. Street sign difficult to see (with another sign at a restaurant) . The rooms are Very clean. Great BED. Staff very stoic; less bubbly; BUT., that's a cultural thing. I understand; they are Professional and focused on tasks. I like this location and was very happy.

Staff was excellent and very helpful. Room was just what we needed. Clean and safe. I had stayed at this hotel years ago and all the improvements they have done has made a big difference in the quality of the hotel. I will be definitely be staying there again.

It was secure and clean but mattress very saggy and torn linens. Small and worn, AC unit noisy. Renovations limited walkway access but I imagine this is a temporary problem unlike the bedding. Fleet of trucks in parking lot with little area to park. Average breakfast - no OJ which is normally provided.

For one there was a guest they're with a PIG and a DOG that apparently rent weekly. That is absolutely disgusting. You don't know people's allergies or anything. My entire family came home sick. Our room was NOT clean. The bedding and tub had hair in them. The TV went out every single day to the point that we learned how to reset it. We reserved multiple rooms and were split up because per the staff a construction company rented a bunch of rooms. We did not even get the rooms that we reserved and we made this reservation 5 months in advance. We had to get back to the hotel at a good time just for parking because the construction crew had a ton of trucks and blocked off additional spots. The windows were covered in a plastic film too so we had no view of anything. I will NEVER EVER stay here when I visit my family again!!

The hotel was nice, the room was nice, the breakfast was great, and the pool area was well maintained. The women working breakfast (we chatted about vegetarian and vegan options) was extremely nice. I didn't care for the sliding bathroom door. My issue was this. We booked our room and I pre-checked in the from the email the day before we were set to arrive. The next evening the hotel called our home phone twice asking us if we were still planning to stay because they were sold out for the night and wanted to confirm we were still on our way. We arrived around 8:45. On our Best Western profile we have my husband's cell number, on the pre-registration I added my cell number. The hotel called our home phone, while we were traveling to their hotel. Luckily our daughter was home to receive both messages for us to call the hotel. They were going to cancel our reservation had I not called back. If we had arrived after a day of travel, to find our room had been given away, after making a reservation and pre-checking in, we would have been very upset. The two ladies then proceeded to say basically that sometimes people don't show and they didn't seem to care or understand that giving away our reservation was a problem. Aren't they still getting paid for the room even if it's a no show? This hotel has customer service issues. Others were still checking in around when we were. Unfortunately, the "cancelation policy" makes it extremely hard to leave to a positive review.

We stayed for a night. It was fine for what we needed. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good for a free hotel breakfast. There were lots of hot and cold options and the staff maintained the area well during breakfast hours. The room was mostly clean and updated. The wood floors were filthy and hadn't been cleaned before we checked in. The area is little sketchy but close to a couple restaurants.

I am a huge fan of the best western franchises and always find myself booking a best western over any other hotel chain. We have had the best service at any best western that we have stayed in. Individually this hotel was great! Perfect price and a very comfortable stay. We just so happened to check in on one of the hottest days of the year 105F and we're so hopeful that our hotel room a/c would be able to keep up and also the room cold. It did not disappoint. Nice place and kind staff, excellent breakfast, clean rooms and pool where you can spend your day with your children. The front desk can answer to your all questions and help. I want to thank you to the manager she is always nice to the customers.

It was ok, stayed for a horse show and it was much further then i thought. So made it difficult. Staff was wonderful except at 1230am when our toilet plugged there was nobody to help and was told to come get the plunger, i wasnt gonna leave my kid alone to do so and it took awhile to get one and then i had to plunge it for an hour still didnt work ! So basically not happy with how rude staff was at night. Overall very clean, parking lot sketchy at night with people partying for cinco de mayo drinking and blasting music. Probably wont stay at this location again

First off my room was perfectly clean and comfortable, no complaints there at all. Staff was friendly. My issue is that the parking lot and area surrounded just feels shady, I do not recommend coming here alone or late at night.

The Manager always has the Staff ready for our semi-annual visit and is always helpful and patient with our 40+ student-athletes. When we shop around for a block of rooms- we always look to this location and we have not been disappointed.

Never ever, ever, ever, again. Loud , didn't meet accommodations, over charge fees for I don't know why the F they assumed I was traveling with animals!? What a waste of money. The only positive is I will say the bed was very comfortable.

We used this motel as it was close to the VA where my husband had a early morning dr appt and we didn't want to fight the rush hour traffic coming from 2 hrs away, so we came the night before the appt to avoid that. This particular motel had a bit better reviews than others of the same price so we chose this one to stay at. I have used BW many times with the "expectation" that it will be cleaner with more comfortable beds and ammenities than most of the lower priced motel chains. Most of the time BW meets my standards, but occasionally I've stayed in ones that are overpriced for what you get. Our room here was clean, king bed comfortable (what has happened that there are no longer bedspreads to protect your sleeping linens?), and breakfast is always a nice start to the day. Motel staff were courteous. I just can't get over the prices of staying in average motels these days!

Had booked a hotel in Pollack Pines for the night and realized they had power outage. Had to travel nearly an hour to this hotel. Choosing this hotel for the night was out of need as the pass to Tahoe was closed. Shady people hanging out in the parking lot through the night.

Great breakfast bar. Great staff. Right off the freeway definitely one of my favorites in the area. Never had any issues here. Except for not being allowed to stay here longer term. Even on a corporate stay

Parking lots have very limited spaces so it's very hard to find a spot at night. There was someone's underwear in the elevator. Room tax somehow is different with the one on reservation, and while reservation says check out time is 12pm they keep knocking on your door from 9 and claims it's 11am.

Good value and generally what I expect from Best Western when traveling for business and seeking good value while on the road. I suggest BW to friends and family and it is the first choice in the value category for me and colleagues.

I made a visit to a best western in Sacramento when I was visiting. I had their breakfast was great the rooms were very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I would for sure visit many More times and recommend others to do so as well.

Only stay here if you have to. The hotel is tired, mattresses need to be replaced. A big majority of the clientele are tradesmen and contractors who don't care about the no-smoking policy and maybe their companies are footing the bill for the withheld deposits. The staff is pretty good and you can tell they are doing the best they can. It's time to either take away the Plus designation, or give this hotel a bit of a reboot.

Rooms are way over priced and dated. Always check your tv, remote, and heater/ac for working order before you settle in. Also, when it's time to check out I would get a receipt from the front desk and check billing for accuracy. Certain rooms are close to the freeway so you will hear noise.

Had to leave my home for 3 days because my home was being tented for termites. Needed someplace that was pet friendly since my cat was coming with me. Worked out for both me and my cat. Hotel was close to shopping and restaurants and close proximity to my favorite coffee shop...Starbuck's.

Wonderful experience at this hotel. I've stayed several times. I especially like the woman who serves the breakfast. This lady always has a kind and welcoming demeanor. She is always warm and pleasant. The roomsn are clean. I felt safe there.

This stay was so awful I'm going to stop using best western. We were put in a smoking room when it clearly says we want non smoking. The room was shabby, broken drawers, hanging curtains, terribly dirty & stained carpeting. All our clothes & luggage had to be aired out. The refrigerator is broken & made terrible noises if you try to use it & the road noise is deafening. Then the manager got mad and yelled at me because I was complaining. I'm putting bad comments everywhere I can and will use my points where I know there is a well maintained facility & spend my other money on better run organizations where they police the facilities.

This particular hotel is a friendly environment where guest are always treated with respect and thus always make us want to come back! The breakfast is good and guest treat each other's with courtesy. I always feel it is my second home.

We have stayed at this hotel twice a year for the past 3 years. We come to this area for a semi-annual drag race event. Our most recent trip was Sept. 2021. We checked in on Thursday evening and the front desk manager on duty was helpful and courteous. We are a party of 3 rooms each visit. On Friday evening I went to the front desk to request some towels as our room has not been made up while we were out during the the day. Yes, I hung the little sign on my door requesting our room be made up. The night Manager, FRANCINE, was extremely rude about my request for towels. She was checking in some guests and I was patient and did not interrupt her. She was not helpful and argued with me about my room being made up. She took over 5 minutes to bring my towels to the counter even though I could see part of the rack of towels from my position at the counter. I thanked her and asked if she would be on duty in the morning. She said she would not so I requested she apologize to me now then for how she spoke to me and she began berating me for my 'bad attitude'. The next morning I find out that the next guests Francine checked in were my friends. She told them all about the 'rude lady that wanted extra towels'. She did not know they were friends of mine...lol My room still did not get made up while we were out Saturday but because we spoke to the housekeeping manager in morning we did have clean towels in our room. My Dad had to go down to get towels Saturday evening and arrived just in time to witness Francine in a heated argument with a guest. The guest stormed out and Francine followed the guest the length of her counter calling him an MF'er. Then proceeded to try to engage my father (a very well mannered older gentlemen) in a conversation about that M-F-ing customer. Outrageous!! Foul language, lack of concern or manners, and no regard for any semblance of good customer service or guest relations. Our 3 rooms were not cleaned or made up once during our whole stay and a foul mouthed uncaring front desk manager are the reasons my family will not be returning. This is not the only hotel near Sacramento Raceway. I will be contacting the raceway to request that they do not recommend The Best Western Plus Rancho Cordova to their racers and spectators.

We had roaches and bugs in the room, tv was broken and when asked for room to be sprayed and cleaned and was promised this while we were gone for 12 hrs and nothing was done. Roaches and bugs still in the room, room not cleaned and tv still broken. When asked the next morning why, the manager was of no help and would not even give us a break on the room cost. Promised to talk to her cleaning management to find out what happened and call me, she did not and proceeded to run my card for the full amount after I left and was on the road.

Staff was very nice but the place was a dump. It had a foul odor everywhere, the carpets were extremely stained and dirty. The room was decent but just seeing the overall hotel made me feel grossed out about sleeping there. Do not recommend and will not be here again.

This hotel is called a Best Western PLUS. Well as a Diamond member of the BW rewards club we have in the past stayed at a lot of BW Plus hotels and this hotel was definitely not up to that standard. When we checked in the woman at the front desk was abrupt and unfriendly When we got to our room it was right by the stairs, the room was tiny and the tiny bathroom looked like it was circa 1970's We then walked the grounds and found out in plain view a dumpster crammed full and leaning against it were a great many stained and filthy mattresses! It was discussing and we wondered about a bed bugs problem. We then went back to our tiny room as I was going to sit at the desk/counter area I put my hand down in something sticky and it was all over the area and on the floor along with food crumbs! But when a bug the size of a pencil eraser crawled out from under the wall air conditioner we packed up and checked out! The day manager said “sorry and we won't charge you” but when I talked to the owner she said we checked in so you get charged. How was this filthy room “COVID clean” as BW states on hotel websites? Don't waste your time at this BW go to the Hyatt Place it was across the street and a 1000% better,bigger,nicer!

I've been to over six other best western hotels in the past four months and it was the worst breakfast experience I ever had at this Rancho Best Western just had sausage links no hot eggs no no scrambled eggs they had no waffle iron it was just terrible that's all you had was the sausage links then you could make some toast or an English muffin all the other hotels at best western in the past 4 months had full breakfast during the COVID-19 for the past four months you could check my record of where I've been it was the worst breakfast experience I've ever had at best Western, there were fire fighters staying their, what a shame, I will never go to this rancho best Western again, but the staff & management were excellent and very courteous & helpful, you have very very very good employees

We've stayed at this hotel several times, and for the most part, it is good. Rooms are nice, the pool is good, breakfast is good, the staff is nice. But, the hallways and common areas need a good upgrading. the carpet in the hallways is gross....old and dirty. The hotel is a bit dated and not as nice as most other Best Westerns, but it is convenient to our family, they allow dogs, and the pool is always refreshing, so we will probably continue to stay here. But the carpet in the hallways needs to go!!!

We reserved an EXTERIOR 2 queen room. When we arrived the room they put us in had a broken AC unit. We were moved to a room that reeked like the bottom of an ashtray. We moved once again to an interior room on the 3rd floor. While waiting for the elevator we were attacked by a bulldog-pitbull dog. The manager heard the attack and threw out the people with the aggressive dog. I went to the front desk and told the manager that this did not need to happen. If we had gotten the room we reserved, we would not have been waiting for an interior elevator. She was to busy making excuses about being fully booked and people extending their stays to hear what I was saying. The place is in disrepair, dirty and poorly managed. Not what we expected from Best Western.

The staff was polite and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately most of the parking lot was not well lit at night (a lot of the parking lot lights were off)and there were a few strangely acting men wandering on and around the property day and night. It does not help that there is a vacant property right next to the hotel that is also unlit. A couple years ago it was much better.

My family and I were staying overnight for the 4th of July weekend. Upon our arrival, it smelled of smoke and was very rambunctious, despite the "quiet hours" posted at the hotel lobby. When we checked into our hotel, the room was not clean. The smoke detector was hanging by its wires, not connected to the wall. Rodents could easily fit in the hole where the detector was supposed to be. The headboards had not been cleaned/wiped down, as we looked and saw liquids that were still on it. I do not know what they were, I do not want to know what they were. The curtains had a giant red stain on them, the color of blood. I went downstairs to the lobby, and heard another guest complain to the staff about having to change rooms multiple times due to not having toilet paper for their bathrooms and bugs being found in their rooms. We were checked into another room where it appeared clean. We had cleaned our feet in the previous room due to it being a long day of walking. We took a couple steps in the room, and our feet were black due to the dirt on the hardwood floors. Unfortunately there were no other hotels with occupancy, so we just decided to stay for the night and leave in the morning. The e-mail we received showed a checkout time of 12p, however it is stated around the hotel that checkout is at 11a. Luckily, we were able to checkout at 12p, but it was considered a late checkout, and according to the staff member that checked us in, it may not have been possible. Upon checkout, I spoke with Naira Ghazaryan, the General Manager of the hotel. I let her know of the situation and how/why we had to switch rooms. Her response: "Oh. I will have housekeeping take a look at it and see what they can do". Mind you, we are checking out of the hotel, so it was not like anything could be done; the stay was complete and any cleaning would have been done after we left. The lack of empathy or compassion for this was enough to look elsewhere for hotels from that stay forward. We will not be staying at a Best Western or Best Western Plus again because of this.

I only needed to stay for one night but I certainly wish it could have been longer. I arrived later in the evening and parking was very easy to find. The woman at the front was so incredibly welcoming and professional. I got the two queen interior room and it was very clean with a seal on the door. The TV did not have a remote but since it was a Samsung TV I just used my phone as the remote. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows which was very nice. My view outside was of the pool and they also had a putting green for those traveling with their clubs. I was very pleased with this hotel and I've stayed in a lot over the past 12 months. Definitely one of my top stays.

Terrible stay and will not return to Bestwestern Rancho Cordova. I think I've seen enough. First, this hotel chain was great 15 years ago but now it's gone bye bye. I can pay less for EXACTLY the same abuse elsewhere. The carpet is sticky, the air conditioning in broken, the noise outside cause the volume to be turned up too loud and the place stinks from front to back side to side. The parking lot is full of trash in places and homeless people need the stuff in your car more than you do. I have points, status as a repeat customer, free upgrade and was satisfied with the mediocre performance of temporary workers and unprofessional staff. I set the bar low and got what I paid for. Now my money actually gets me less than before and I cannot lower the bar and refuse to be abused any longer by a franchise company. I can get exactly the same thing by getting a dinner at Denny's and sleeping in my car. Exactly the same. I will be just as uncomfortable but with no freeway traffic noise outside of my door and no drug dealing with prostitutes angry that they have to work in pandemic conditions.

terrible hotel. had crumbs in my bed (not mine), people drinking and yelling outside the room all night long. room spelled like pissed. and to top it all off, woke up in the middle of the night with a giant black cockroach crawling on my neck.

This was a quick, overnight trip from the Bay Area. I was initially worried with all of the negative feedback, but I tried this hotel as a Diamond Select member. When I registered, the agent was very courteous and professional. She acknowledged me as a Diamond Select member, and gave me the option for a snack bag or points (Took the snacks). She let me know that the pool was not in service as well as the modified grab-and-go breakfast option for the following morning. Masks are optional at the hotel, but I wore one anyway. Internet was fast and efficient. No problems with the HVAC or television in the room. I stayed in room 114 with the access to the parking lot. I was hesitant as Highway 50 can be loud at times, but the room was a bit soundproof. Bed was a queen sized one and comfortable. I did see and iron and ironing board, which came in handy. Both worked fine. I will stay here again.

I had very bad experience at hotel counter. the lady is extremely rude and careless. She treated me with disrespect and tried to ignore me. I had never experienced this kind of service at other Best Western Plus Hotels.

We never seen a cleaning crew. The room had hair left over in the bathroom, TV was not wired in properly and did not work, the coffee pot had the wrong coffee liner and was inop. It had the motel 6 feel for a high end price. No breakfast or other amenities. Parking lot left a feeling of possibly get the vehicle broken into.

The room was smoky even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. Many things in the room were dusty. TV only showed one channel. When I notified the clerk, he told me to fix it myself by resetting the box in the back of the tv. I did that twice and it didn't work. When I told him that, he said he'd bring a new remote. He never did. It was noisy with the freeway. It would've been worse had the pool been open.

Please don't stay here!! There are very unwell people just hanging in the parking lot, hallways and stairwells. We saw drug deals and prostitution happening right outside our room. I've never felt so scared at a hotel! We left immediately after checking in. I can't imagine what this place is like throughout the night, and I didn't want to stay to find out.

First the site say 20 for pet she charged 30. “I can't change system” entire hotel smells of smoke!!! Only 2 pillows most BW have at least 4! Phone doesn't work! AC doesn't work properly! Set it at 60 and it's at least 70! Front desk not happy at all! Lib I was bothering her! We have a pet and she put us on the 3rd floor!?!?!? Be did broken down! Should have stayed at motel 6! For the love of god don't stay here!!!

I called in advance to check pet policy.$100 deposit,OK that was fine. Checked in and was given a room on the 3rd floor with our dog. Didn't ask for a premium room,but after our 7 days went to pay for 4 more as my Husband's job here was not done. After going downstairs twice to pay only to be told to come back after 6:30am on checkout day. This lady trys to charge me more for a room, so I had to go online to reserve my room for the cheaper rate. Same lady already ran off another coworker the week before being ugly to him. So day of checkout we needed a few more days and she claimed she didn't know after 11 days of me going in and out with our dog that we had one. Absolutely didn't allow dogs on the 3rd floor,which ours wasn't the only one there. Said we were not gonna stay on that floor to come down at 11 and move to another floor. I've seen what goes on on those floors. No thank you. People trying to do right and want a clean room is all we did, and the 2 guys carrying a drunk girl on the luggage cart to a room,people fighting and doing drugs,smoking in the stairways,People living in RV's, get to do whatever. Take my business elsewhere. Manager needs to be fired!!!

This property is getting old and in need of maintenance in certain areas. The room I was given had a TV that was not connecting to the cable, they gave me another room. This room had a dead ac/heater unit, they did send someone up and it was fixed. Coffee maker didn't work and the carpet was in need of cleaning. There was also a smell of cigarette smoke most of the night, it was very faint.

Was the worse Best Western hotel I have ever stayed in. I had stayed in at least 10 other Best Westerns prior to this stay. This particular hotel was dirty and the employees were not well informed nor very helpful.

After several days of driving I finally reached my destination In the middle of night. Francine greeted me with a amazing Genuine smile and a warming welcome. Going far above and beyond to make sure that The check in procedure was as hassle free and quick as possible. She showed me on the map how to find my room as well as answering any and all of my questions. There are not enough stars to check to say my Gratitude. You can tell she takes pride in her job and does care about the guests

Was not expecting to deal with all these issues in room. Surfaces (counters/tables/floor) not clean, Lamps broken; mattress is old and soggy; not working business center printer/computer. Had to clean own room, take own garbage, bring dirty towels (i.e. no housekeeping services). $100 deposit required.

I found ritz crackers scattered in the desk drawer upon arrival, the sink plug was stuck closed and we could hear the neighbor's TV playing all night. The lack of cleanliness made me feel extra concerned about the actual sanitation of the facility and COVID-19 protocols. I had to book the hotel online because no one would answer the phone, and during my stay, no one would answer my guest services call, and the receptionist was anything but welcoming upon my arrival

If you don't want to sleep, stay here. Cars cruising the parking lot all night and day. People parking one car, getting into another and leaving. Honking horns signal something causing a flurry of foot traffic in the stairwell all night long. The doors slam, no way to sleep. Yelling, loud conversations in the breezeway. Sketchy guys on bikes cruise the parking lot on phones. Sketchier females in the parking lot. I will NEVER stay here again.

We stay at this hotel every August. I don't know if COVID has changed things, but the quality, cleanliness and overall feel of the hotel seems blah. Various parties hanging out in the parking lots all night, some appear homeless, guys drinking in the back of a pickup truck for several hours two of the nights, we had to move rooms the morning after check in because our room hadn't been fully cleaned (towels on the floor, bedding questionable, toilet not wiped down.) and it smelled really bad, like animal urine or some other odor. We weren't offered a discount or anything, only a room change. New room was remodeled and smelled much better. Staff is pleasant but it appears pride in their property has sunk.

For a Best Western PLUS that is not cheap, this place was hugely disappointing. The good news is that the bed was comfortable, the room was large, it had a great lineup of TV channels, and the market at the desk was nice. The front desk staff and housekeepers were very pleasant. However, not a single housekeeper or maintenance man was wearing a mask during my 5-day stay and neither were 99% of the guests. The Business Center I was counting on during my stay did not have a printer with any ink in it. People were smoking in the hallways next to my room. Garbage was strewn around the building and hallways all day long. The floor of my room was absolutely filthy and the refrigerator smelled so bad that I could not use it. A lot of potential here, but inadequately staffed, poorly trained personnel, lack of commitment to safety required by law in California, and lousy management team. Overpriced for this environment and unable to recommend in current conditions.

Completely stuffed up the 2nd day along with a massive headache. I woke up the 3rd day still pretty stuffy and went and took a shower. Found mold in the bathroom while drying off. My towel brushed the wall (small bathroom) while drying and the wall paper moved and i could see black. The whole bottom section of the wall paper was not attached to the wall. I lifted the paper up to see what it was that i saw and the entire wall was covered in a black mold. I went to the front desk and requested to speak with a manager. The person said the manager wasn't in and asked what the issue was. I explained i found a lot of mold in my room and that i just wanted a refund and i was going to go find another hotel. He said since the manager wasn't there, he could only put me in another room until morning when the manager arrived. I spoke with the GM immediately in the morning. She refused any kind of refund saying that I stayed my full stay. I explained that since there wasn't a manager here prior that the desk assistant said the only thing he could do was move me rooms. Later she told a customer that overheard us, that i tore the wallpaper off in search of mold. I have video and picture evidence showing how the wall paper itself had so much mold that it wasn't even attached to the wall. You can clearly tell the wall has been worked on in the past but was neglected. After checkout i was talking to a lady about me finding mold in the bathroom and how best western isn't doing anything about it. As me and the lady walked to our cars. The GM followed us and was yelling in the parking lot outside the entrance that she was going to sue me for talking to customers and called me a druggy repeatedly. Called best western customer service and claim they cant issue a refund, its up to the GM. What a joke. Glad I documented everything, I'll be speaking with my attorney this week. Truly unprofessional, moldy rooms, no amenities but charge full price on rooms still, employees walking around without masks. All around awful experience. If anybody stays here and ends up with a cold symptoms the next day, it could possibly be from mold.

Inconsiderate guests with high foot traffic allowing their door to slam all night along with loud fighting in early morning hours - so bad another guest said he called the police. Noisy A/C sounding like a jet engine revving up for take-off. Staff who do nothing to resolve issues except to say that they will be sure to inform the manager. Elite membership not recognized nor rewarded. Recommendation: Avoid this location at all costs.

I understand that due to Covid 19 that some concessions are to be made with staying at any hotel/motel. The floor was filthy and smelled of dirt and grime. The housing keeping staff were not friendly/borderline hostile. The front desk staff were helpful. I see this as a management issue and a failing of site management.

Arrived about an hour ago. It was before 3 PM, check-in time and my room wasn't ready. Not a big deal. But the other information was a big deal. I was informed that neither the pool or the fitness room was open. What? That information was not available on their website or TripAdvisor's info. I would have looked for other lodging had I known. Normally a fitness room wouldn't be a problem. But because of Covid19 my gym has been closed for 120 days. I was looking forward to some exercise here. Nada. The pool? It's summer. Not open? Obviously my problem is with the lack of information by BW. Many people would not stay in a hotel/motel because of the virus. I am willing to, but not when they are dishonest. Moreover reduced facilities (no breakfast either) should result in rebates or lower rates. I ignored the made negative reviews. Now I wish I was somewhere else.

There was no breakfast due to Covid-19 and our bill was not adjusted. Our room smelled like an ashtray, I suspect they were housing some homeless people in here. Our bathroom was missing bath towels and we had to go back down to the desk from the 3rd floor to get some. We won't be staying here again.

Do not stay at this property in Rancho Cordova, CA. Unclean floors and bedding. Plastic cups had been used, as was the complimentary lotion and shampoo. Toilet paper on the bathroom floor in back of the toilet and lotion smeared on the walls.

We stayed in room 105. It is on the back side of the hotel, the only ADA parking is on the front side so getting to the room is a long haul down the side walk, through a breezeway to the other side. There are no ramps to the sidewalk on the back side of the building. The door is heavy and our rubber door stop wasn't big enough to hold the door open. The room was OK in size, just big enough for my husband's power chair to move through. The bed is on legs so our hoyer lift easily fit under it. It is at the maximum height for lifting into/out of the bed into the chair. If board transferring into the bed it may be difficult. The roll-in shower was good--no threshold, but there is a bit of a floor change from the carpeted room to the tiled bathroom. The adjustable height shower head was very difficult to lower or raise. The ice machine is on the third floor accessed by the elevator at the opposite end of the building by the lobby.

Room I checked into had not been cleaned properly. There was dog food left on the floor and the room smelled as though the previous guest had smoked in the room. TV remote did not work well from the bed but once it was closer to the tv it worked better

Where do I begin? My husband and I saw this place online so for 80$ we booked it. Upon check in the gal was kind and helpful she made sure our room was “cleaned” and sent me on my way. Here are some of the things we endured during our 12 hour stay. Very loud like freeway in your room loud. Broken appliances. Trash EVERYWHERE. Bugs and roaches from the said trash. Missing comforter?? Cold all night. sheets did not fit at all kept balling up and we had to get up and make the bed twice in the night. Sticky floor. Other guest banging on our door at midnight. My husband had 3 guys attempt to lure him into their room. This hotel is disgusting hazardous and not safe at all. There are tweakers everywhere. Drug deals going down in the rooms. Do not stay here with small kids.

This hotel is filthy. I tried 3 different room and all were not clean. All the surface areas that one would touch were not cleaned. You could see grime and finger prints. When I asked about sanitizing the rooms due to COVID, they had no procedures in place. The bathroom floor was sticky. I could go on.

Rude che ck in made the stay feel like I was bothering them with my presence. On line showed they had a hot tub and spa, when questioned about where it was she rudely told me there was neither a spa or hot tub, the pool appears to be open but she insisted it was closed. No apologies just rude grunting. When questioned why the price per night was 50% higher than what was shown online she said then why didn't I make a reservation on line. She was not interested in helping me do that and stood quite with me when I tried. She talked to someone in the back room about something else while staying at the counter but not interested in helping me. No personality at all, I was a nuisance to her. The room was musty smelling and lacked any taste in decor.

maybe the area is just expensive, but for the asking price of $80/night this place was a let down. the lobby and outdoor areas were nice looking, but the rest of the property was average. AC unit that blew hot air most of the time, dirty room floor with crumbs(?) under the desk, mattress was sunken in and pillows were very stiff and gave me neck pains. housekeeping also came one hour before checkout time and did not speak english, which i do not fault them for but the hotel should communicate with its staff; i had to grab all my things and leave before i could do a final check because housekeeping seemed to think it was check out time. however, the desk staff were friendly, the free wifi was very fast and had excellent connectivity, and the soap they had smelled nice, so it wasn't a completely terrible stay. just not what i felt was worth the price.

My stay at this Best Western was great. Considering the COVID-19 outbreak in this country, this hotel had someone present at all times cleaning the floors, the counter, etc. Breakfast was not served but the customer service representative had a breakfast bag for you each morning. The staff was great.

One night stay in area on family visit. Pre-booked room online, check-in easy and complete. Three story property, bottom floor rooms enter per exterior entrances; floors 2-3 use elevator by office. Exterior property seemed to be well maintained, lots of parking. Room was on second floor, which has an exterior balcony. Room was good sized and clean, floors were faux wood (no carpeting); everything in room worked. Room was fairly quiet even though property is near US 50 and another hotel...only thing that was annoying was that the bathroom exhaust fan runs constantly and you can't shut it off...plenty of hot water though. Bed was clean and comforrtable. One issue I has was that I needed to use the room telephone...unable to dial out for local or long distance, just got a busy signal. Read and reread dialing instructions posted on the phone, then in the hotel amenities book....nothing. This place needs too advise customers how to use their phones as the instructions you currently have posted don't work. Breakfast area was clean, well srtocked, attended, and clean. Choices were scrambled eggs, sausages, oatmeal, bagels, toast, fruit, pastries, cereal, yogurt, etc. What was supposed to be hot was hot, plentiful, and tasty. Check out was fast and professional. Would stay here again.

The staff was very nice and courteous. The rooms are just right equipped with all the basic necessities (fridge, microwave, coffemaker, Etc.). The location of the hotel is perfect. Its right off the fwy and next to a mcdonalds and mexican restaurant to grab a quick bite. The area seems very safe and well lighted. The hotel counts with a heated pool, mini golf, a grill to bbq, and a great gym. The breakfast is excellent.The hotel is also half a mile away from retail stores and fast food restaurants. Great place for a great price.

Room door does not seal around the door. Carpet is worn and stained. Smells of smoke even thru they say its a smoke free hotel. Parking is poor if you have a truck and trailer.this was asked up front before booking. Breakfast items where over cooked and burned. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Bed was comfortable; water pressure was great; lots of TV channels; fitness room supported my workout needs; Casa Ramos is an excellent Mexican restaurant just across the parking lot; breakfast was surprisingly good; the smoke alarm malfunctioned during my stay and the front desk could not be reached by phone to conveniently address the issue (unacceptable), and a slow draining sink was not fully fixed, but those were minor conveniences.

A good place except they need to have a better receipt process for payments for a pet. We were harrassed by a 2nd employee 10 minutes after we offered payment, on the condition that we could have a receipt for it.

Great hotel, easy check in, good location. We chose this hotel for close proximity to Sacramento. It was in an area with convenience stores and restaurants. We usually stay at best western plus hotels and it didn't disappoint.

I was upgraded to a king bed as they didn't have any queens available and offered points or a snack as a member of BW rewards. Everything was clean and comfortable and checkin/checkout were fast and easy. All the employees were very nice and made me feel welcome.

Good value for the price. Many local places to eat nearby for dinner. The room was clean and probably recently updated. Only downside was the shower head was 5 ft 6 inches above the bottom of the tub - easy to wash your face but a little awkward for washing hair. Room had mini fridge and coffee maker. The breakfast "buffet" had enough variety that most people will find something to eat.

must be under new management. We have stayed at this hotel 8-10 times over the past 3-4 years. This time didn't match our other stays. We were given a handicap room that we didn't reserve, and were told that it had been our mistake. The internet was problematic, etc.

Another excellent stay at Best Western. My stay was for a medical appointment with VA and having to travel almost 10 hours and 400 miles. I was glad to see a familiar location at the end of my trip. Thank you for offering a quality oroduct.

We came here one night to escape the smoke and lack of power in Santa Rosa. We needed two rooms, as we brought our elderly neighbor and her small dog with us. Our room was very nice and updated; her room was not updated but we were so grateful to have found a hotel that allowed dogs, had heat and internet, it really didn't matter! NO ONE told us about the freeway construction noise at night- not when we made the reservations or when we checked in. We understand the hotel did not have to tell us this small, but HUGE detail but it would have been an honest gesture on their part. Even better yet, to offer us other rooms that were quieter. We had no problem paying a higher rate. Highway noise is livable. Construction noise with beeping of tractors all night long is not. Our neighbor's room also had a noisy air conditioner that rattled (I believe there is a previous review on this subject). Front desk was called and no one showed up to look at it. The next morning, with little sleep, my neighbor quickly threw some clothes on over her nightwear and took her dog out to the bathroom. When she returned, her key did not work! She went to the front desk, immediately someone was sent to check it out. Turned out the door lock needed to be replaced so my neighbor sat there patiently for the next hour while this task was completed by a very nice man. Of course, we should also note the remote control in her room did not work as well. We were all drained from lack of sleep. When my husband went to check out, the printer was not working so we could not get a receipt, and the manager was not there to speak with. We did receive the email invoices for both rooms. Our room, had a different man's name on the bill! He also had a $30 lower rate! Our poor neighbor really paid the brunt! We have completed a BW survey, wrote a letter to manager Naira (sent three times), called and left a message with no response from her. Finally, today she was there. She believes it is not her hotel's responsibility to tell guests about the noise unless it is hotel noise. This might be true but transparency would of been the better choice or better yet, offer ear plugs! She never apologized for the incorrect bill, construction noise, broken door lock, or needed batteries for the remote control that went out during the night for our neighbor. Naira did address that it was not the hotel's responsibility for the all night construction, nor did she need to disclose it unless it was hotel construction. This might be true but note we do not blame the hotel for the noise. The hotel could just be honest about it. Also, we asked for a discount on the rate of our friend's room to match the rate on the incorrect bill (our name/room number/same date) and Naira said she will not do this. Our bill was corrected to reflect the higher rate with the right names. This also could be considered an insult! So, before you book, we suggest you checkout any freeway construction for the night, check the fan, remote, and lock. Please note, the employees in this hotel are so very friendly and helpful - this is the ONLY reason we are rating this three stars! The breakfast was great. Our room was fine. But the management is not what you find in other Best Westerns. Actually, I don't think we have ever had issues like this at a Best Western Hotel! We will write the corporate offices and AAA. This could have been handled so differently.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms and beds are extremely comfortable. Easy on and off the freeway and amenities aplenty are close by. The only problem we had, which was minor, the clerk gave us some confusing room directions when we checked in but it didn't take long to find the room.

I was expecting it to be somewhat noisy as it is so close to the freeway, but it was suprisingly quiet. The other folks staying were quiet also. The room was clean the decor nice. The area around the motel was clean and I saw no homeless or transit folks hanging around.

Enjoyed my two night stay, very comfortable room even if it was on the small side for a BW Plus. The staff were great & extremely helpful about nearby shopping and eating requirements I had. I did get the free breakfast my last morning there, really good! And a ton of TV cable channels, I think every channel in the country was there! (Once I figured out the remote.) My only real issue was the alarm clock didn't work correctly, but wake call was a perfect back up. Room was clean and housekeeping kept it that way. It is tucked away behind a McDonald's and Shell station, so finding it the first time was a slight challenge. I would definitely stay there again..

Property was very clean and room's are are very nice,great fitness room and the internet was really fast for my business needs. The Continental breakfast was way outside my expectations very good.we will definitely be staying here again in the future the staff was very nice making sure you had everything you needed. Will definitely he stayed here again.

I rented the room with two beds and the ottoman had mold on the legs,the bathroom had mold and food on the floor. There were used shampoos and body washes on the counter thinking there new but they were empty. No toilet paper. Floor hadn't been mopped in a long time. I asked for a refund so I could go to a cleaner hotel but the manager refused for it costing over a $100 this was worse than a cheap motel.

Planned a trip for our baseball team! I booked with my credit card and I was late to check in so they checked me in and my card declined . I always book with one and pay with my atm or cash. When my card declined they canceled my room. They did not call to notify me because the hotel was over booked. When I arrived to check in they didn't care that my family of 4 had no place to stay! A courtesy call would have been nice

Lots of Handicap parking, but on the other side of the building form the room we were assigned. Room was cramped for two people. Could not sit at the desk to do anything if the other person handicapped or not needed to get by for any reason. I would not stay here again and I would not recommended it to any handicapped person or couple

This Best Western location was clearly a once-cheap motel with a facelift. There was nothing about the rooms that was better than any other Best Western. My room was small, smelled stale, and you could hear the freeway. However, the hotel offered all the standard comforts than any other Best Western. It was still, overall, a pleasant stay. But I would expect a little more from a "Plus" location.

i travel with a dog and it is always a mixed bag as to how i will be treated- this best western is very friendly, check in and out is efficient, breakfast is better than most of the other choices in this category- ive stayed here 3 times in the last 6 months- comparing to other dog friendly options its a little more expensive than la quinta and less than the hyatt (who now charges $75 for a dog; i do not go there anymore) - no good potty option on property, but plenty of grassy areas within a one or two minute walk - the night clerk francine is a treasure, she is alert at all hours (3am, 5am, etc) and expresses a caring demeanor that can be rare on that shift- i feel safe staying here and as a woman traveling alone that is my first concern

This hotel is nice and they are in the process of upgrading all of the rooms. The staff members are very polite and professional. You will enjoy your visit at this hotel because stores are nearby and there are several restaurants where the food was really good.

Our first impression was the filthy hallways. Is this motel short of staff or lazy? The hallway rug was littered with debris along the base boards and the dark baseboard entry way to each room was covered in dust/debris. On the plus side the bed was comfortable and appeared clean but the easy chair was soiled from long time use. The bathroom was small. How did this motel get a PLUS rating. The breakfast had gritty eggs with the usual motel breakfast fixings. We would not stay here again.

This is a clean hotel. The manager at the front desk was very friendly and helpful during the check-in process. The room was clean and up to date. Breakfast was typical but good. Plenty of parking and I felt safe at this location. The only issue was that there was an outdoor balcony near the elevator where some people were smoking pot. To each their own, I'm not judging but do that somewhere else than in a public location for all to smell. I will probably stay here again.

Friendly & helpful during check-in. Clean room. Kids loved the breakfast (eggs, bacon, homemade waffles & cereal) and the adults thrilled there were healthy options (oatmeal, dried fruits, yogurt) too. Fitness center was perfect to help burn off breakfast calories. Wish we had more time to take advantage of the pool - looked nice and clean. Overall excellent experience and value. Definitely recommend to other families traveling.

The hotel access was almost hidden, and the hotel was in the progress of upgrades, but clean rooms, nice pool, lovely lobby and quiet stay even though its close to Hwy 50. walking distance to fast food and Mexican restuarant.

Do to business in the area I've stayed at this location 3x in the past 11 months. It's a quite location right of the freeway. A variety of dining just a city block away. I recommend the 3rd floor with an interior entrance if available. Over all this is a clean hotel with a nice breakfast in the morning.

This Best Western property is located just off the Interstate to Lake Tahoe. It is conveniently located close to the Rancho Cordova business district and there are plenty of food options nearby and a good mexican as well as a petrol station with 24-hour convenience store nearby. The rooms are a bit dated, but with a proper flat-screen TV and nice and comfortable beds and a convenient bathroom. All in all the entire property is well-maintained and in good shape The complimentary breakfast is the standard fare of any hotel in this category, with your standards of scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, waffle-maker and the likes, nothing special but perfectly good for a quick start into the day. Staff are nice, friendly and helpful and went out of themselves to make my stay comfortable and convenient. Plenty of disabled parking space is available, I never was at a miss for a suitable space. The reception has a small convenience store section with soft drinks, candy and some bars for any eventuality. All in all, a nice stay at a good price for business travellers.

This is a good property when the price is right. Sometimes this property charges more than a room in Las Vegas. Rooms are usually clean but dated and you can see the ware. Great location for shopping and food.

Roaches in my room was told I would be refunded for 2 out of the 3 nights and was credited $30 and oh well, after having to wait 4 days for it and dealing with trying to get a manager on the phone so I can say NEVER AGAIN

The room was great, beds comfy, and the breakfast outstanding! Seriously, they had just about everything you could imagine wanting to eat and the food was delicious. Nice pool clean pool too (which we didn't have time to use on this trip) but oh my gosh, that breakfast selection blew us away. It was so nice to be able to eat a healthy meal before hitting the road again. Thanks!

The breakfast is terrible. Usually BW Plus hotels I have stayed before had a good hot breakfast. That's why I book BW Plus.The AC didn't work effectively when was hot outside.Water in the pool was warm when it was 100 degrees outside. They should take care of it. Also, no towels.Never book it again.

We have stayed here for four years visiting family. It's clean, convenient, and meets all basic needs. I like the upper rooms facing south and east, away from 50. The pool is pleasant and the breakfast adequate. It's excellent for this price.

A/C sounded like construction going in the room. Plumbing issue- water in the toilet kept running. Bugs/roaches in the room. No vents in the bathroom. Location is close to food, gas and hospitals. Don't recommend staying at this location.

When I come to the Sacramento area I try to stay in this hotel. The value, cleanliness and hotel staff are always great. They have cameras in the parking lot which I appreciate to help keep your stay safe.

Hotel includes guest laundry machines , fitness center and pool. The pool is a bit small for exercise but good for entertainment and relaxation. Hotel is pet friendly. Carpets could use updating. Staff were very friendly.

I have stayed at this hotel three times and will continue to stay here because of the location and value. The hotel is located with easy access to Hwy 50 and is close to shopping and restaurants. Only fast food is available within walking distance. Most of the rooms face either the highway or a major road so there is road noise at all times, day or night. The hotel is a great value with free Wifi and a full breakfast. The Wifi was more than fast enough for browsing and email. The front desk staff and the breakfast room assistants were very friendly and helpful.

The rooms could use a decorating update, but everything was clean. We saw large sports groups, but weren't troubled by noise from them or the nearby traffic. Breakfast was really good and included hot and cold options and a nice selection of beverages. An elevator provided access to the second floor accessible room. The only problems we experienced was that the room door was really heavy and my wife struggled getting in and the shower hose leaked severely, but we dealt with it at the time and forgot to report it to the front desk.

Stayed here for 4 nights on a business trip. First night the cops were called out early morning to break up a disturbance in one of the rooms on the first floor. Then on my last night there I was awaken to someone trying to break into my room! I had to scream several times to scare him away. No one followed up with me in the morning or asked me how I was after the night. Didn't seem like anyone reported it. Seems like anyone from the outside can come in. I was on the 3rd floor and the guys trying to break in seemed to have walked in from the streets. Scary!

The hotel is clean and tidy staff are very friendly and helpful. Would stay at this hotel again. Breakfast is basic with juices, tea and coffee. They have a swimming pool which was great as temperature soared to 100 degrees most days.

This hotel was very clean, the staff was very nice. Rooms are big and comfortable. The pool is nice and heated and my children were able to swim and have a great time. Breakfast offered was very good and filling. Will definitely stay again when we go back down that way!!!

This is day 4 at the hotel and I have to say it's clean and tidy. Breakfast is okay. It's 30 degrees today very hot but the pool is dirty needs a clean. Overall hotel is great for a short stay. There are restaurants just outside of the hotel and a shopping mall over the freeway.

This place is sub level quality even if it were not a "Plus". There are transitional housing recipients living there with constant traffic as they peddle marijuana. Just sit and watch. Dated furniture. Breakfast is really bad.

Nice hotel. Have stayed here several times. Better value for the money than many of the surrounding properties. Breakfast is pretty standard. Pool is nice but ask for a room away from pool side as it is noisy if people are using pool. Highway noise also loud on this side. Otherwise clean and comfortable.

I would never recommend the hotel to anyone. There were ants on the counter and the room they gave me initially made me feel (I was traveling by myself) unsafe, it was at the very back of the hotel, down an exterior hallway. When I went back to the counter and asked for another room the desk clerk told me she was unable to do this. I asked for a manager and none was available. She eventually gave me a room in the front of the building in a well-lit area. I asked the desk clerk while getting the new room for a 5:30am wake-up call and I called when I got in the room for a 5:30am wake-up call. NO ONE EVER CALLED!!! I needed to be on time for the class I paid for and drove here to stay so I wouldn't have to endure the traffic and be on time. I noticed when I received my bill that they charged me an additional 60.00. I am happy to see that my safety was not a priority for them. I'll know better next time I have a business meeting or a class in the area Best Western WILL NOT be on my list of hotels to make a reservation.

We had a great time. Everything was just wyonderful. We have been at that BW five times in the last 3 years. Each time we have returned. The management are polite & helpful. We will return again. This is a exceptional place.

Stayed here for a week. Ended up with bed bug bites from hotel life. Not recommended I've had the same thing in Jackson CA. They need to spend time to investigate these problems. I spoke to the front desk. Showed my bites just got switched to another room. Where I don't even want to sit down

The beds are amazingly comfy, spacious bathrooms and beautiful oversized towels! Lots of plugs and lights, so you could adjust the lighting in the room to be just right! Maid staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend asking for a 3rd story room, just because it was so nice. Breakfast was really good, waffles are always a favorite of mine, and the eggs, sausage and bacon were delish! Several bread choices, Yogurt and cereal were available which rounded out the meal.The parking was super convenient!

This location has been used hard. It is not as clean as you expect; some wings smell like cigarette smoke—I think from and outside patio. Breakfast might haven good at 6, but by 9:30 it's basically a mess. There is a pool, but it's not really maintained. Overall, disappointed. Made the reservation online.

We came here with multiple couples and had a great stay! Naira and Juliet were very professional and hospitable. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Comfortable beds and very clean rooms. The breakfast was fresh and full of options. Must try the do it yourself waffle maker. It felt like home.

We've always stayed at BW for travel for our runs and our kids' activities, and never disappointed with the service and the rooms. This time, we stayed at an older side of the building with stained and ripped carpet corners. The moment I entered the room I should have asked for a better one, but I was tired traveling straight from work. Our dog couldn't sleep, always pacing and barking. Our dog was usually quiet and calm, and has always been bothered by dirty surroundings. If you know our dog, he doesn't want his bowl near a trash can, in fact he'll move it. He doesn't want to lay down on a spot that he thinks is dirty. I don't know, maybe he's a cat? So I attribute his uneasiness to the not so welcoming room. Other than that, the bed sheets were clean, the room smelled of soap so it must be clean right? Service was exceptional as usual, just not quite so in love with the room. I may have to be picky next time when traveling with pets and get the assurance that we are indeed welcome, two legs or four.

Compared to other BW Plus, this place was disappointing. The walkway past our door was noisy at all hours. The room was so-so. The levator was close by which added to the noise. Breakfast was disappointing as well. Given the conditions, the room was over-priced. Last time we stayed in Rancho Cordiva, we were across the street at the Hyatt. The Hyatt was nicer, cheaper, and quieter with a full serice bar & restaurant. No more BW plus.

Big hotel next to freeway.....easy to get into and easy to get out and onto freeway quickly...back of hotel where a couple rooms are located not too brightly lit....easy accessible to fast food or even a Mexican restaurant

Had to take a room on third floor due to hotel being full((booked room a week earlier). Elevator broke and had to use stairs(My wife and I are disabled). The hotel was overrun with young soccer players whos leaders failed to control them.

We have stayed here many times and will definitely be staying again. Love the staff, clean, Great breakfast, and most of all they love having baseball, soccer, and football teams. We found a great Burger & Brew place( Famous Burgers ) just around the corner from the Hotel.

Stayed here 4 nights for business. I'll put this as pros and cons. Pros: very clean and recently remodeled, very helpful and willing staff, met basic expectations for my needs. Cons: About 100 yards from a major freeway. DO NOT get a room facing the freeway if you're a light sleeper(they did move me to a quieter room, thank you). Most of the equipment in the fitness center was in some state of disrepair or not hooked up. Also, I needed to print some outlines and photos for an impromptu presentation and the printer in the business center was out of toner. No one replaced it for the four days I was there in spite of my reporting it. To the credit of staff, they printed my emailed attachments with a smile. Guess I was spoiled by my last stay at Doubletree. Overall an acceptable stay. I'm not an unreasonable person. ??

After a day of driving over 12 straight hours...we just wanted peaceful sleep. Unfortunately the man that checked us in must have thought putting us in a room right next to the busy freeway would help. Also, being in a part of the hotel with just two rooms located next to each other was great until getting awakened at 3 am and again at 5:30 am by a drunken, violently fighting couple. It was scary when they slammed something against our wall, and then super hard on our door in the process. We recognize it's not the fault of the hotel for the caliber of people that choose to rent a room, but it does go to the character of the area it's located in. Pros: they let is check in any time after 3pm. It is dog friendly.....to a point. Cons: There really is no place for dogs to do their business unless they do it on the street or in tanbark or weeds, which is icky on their paws. The room was mostly clean. The carpets were really needing a good cleaning or replacing. Beds need to be updated....and maybe a little more forethought from staff would be good. My kids and puppy were traumatized. When we felt it was clear, we got out of there as quick as we could. I did let staff know upon our departure about the incident. I was worried about leaving our room or causing a problem, but they were nice about it. However, I won't be going there again.

Never received housekeeping- reported a clogged toilet multiple times during the day to be told by desk manager at 5pm that maintenance and housekeeping were gone for the night. I asked what I should do and he said "Use your best judgment" This is unacceptable!

Our room had a horrible odor. I asked to change rooms, the young man behind the counter was wonderful & we tried several rooms...2 had carpet so dirty I wouldn't let my dog step on it, 1 had a very loud high pitched A/C unit. I went back to the original room - at least it had cleaner carpet & a quiet A/C unit. The manager really needs to check these rooms. The rugs are horrible & I'm betting the cause of the horrible smells!

Exceptional staff who are very pleasant and friendly. The service provided was exemplary. The checkout was flawless. The breakfast items were hot and plentiful. I would have liked a better selection of bagels.

I've stayed here more than once and is suitable for the needs I have in this area. The positives: Good breakfast included; Very clean, up-to-date; Very cost-effective; Friendly accommodating staff. There really are not any negatives to list. This hotel is not really anything extraordinary, but it meets the needs I have when traveling in this area. I would recommend this hotel.

Nira the Manager and Jose at the front desk provided excellent service. Nira always helped when rooms were booked up or I had any problem. Jose was very friendly and always went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Jose likes to talk and always make you feel at home. Great Experience. The only Con was the way the billing system puts hold on credit/debit card and the billing cycle can catch you off guard if you have a low to marginal bank account. Keep a eye on the billing and hold process. Otherwise I highly recommend. Oh the Breakfast is the best free breakfast and compare to Marriott or Sheraton paid buffet. The room service is good, always clean bed and bathroom on a daily basis. Good Choice. Nyra and Jose are great host.

I liked the hotel from the very firs moment. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean. The beds are very comfortable and I slept very well. I would recommend the hotel for everyone.

Never done that before...but we checked in late (kids at a local sports tournament) and there was no getting out of it. Had kind of a scene of the crime feel about it. I kept my socks on, slept in my clothes. Put on something fresh in the morning, brushed my teeth and got outta there. It wasn't scary, there just wasn't anything nice about it.

Terrible roach problem. We killed about 12 roaches. We filed a complaint with Best Western corporate and called the front desk and the reaction from the manager at the front desk was terrible. Corporate told me the general is required to address the problem before we left, but the front desk said if you filed a complaint with corporate they take care of you. We haven't heard from either to this point. This is a terrible place! I don't understand why the rating is ok. Also, the walls are so thin you can hear people outside talking.

After the lights went out at night the cockroaches appeared. The front desk told us that there were no other rooms available. They did move us the next day to a room with no cockroaches and better TV reception. We were compensated for the first night but I would have rather had the sleep. Also the oatmeal, eggs breakfast meat and potatoes were luke warm.

when you first come to this hotel it's nice looking, lobby is clean and the guest services are nice but that's about all that's good about this place... Breakfast is just ok but the homeless seem to be welcome guest too... And the rooms yes rooms I stayed in as I stayed two weeks in arrow for work both rooms had Big Cock Roaches..the first room that I seen a cock roach I killed it and made a report to hotel staff,they said they'd look into it!! Now the next room had a huge Cock Roach in the bath tub( gross) I call the front desk and had someone come and get that thing out of the tub. The Guy that came in to My room to remove this huge thing from the tub only shrugged his shoulders and said " oh just from all the water" l as if I cared why there where cock roaches in the room. My fellow co workers also found roaches in their room.And the guest parking seems to be criminals delight car alarms going off constantly.

This is the 2nd Best Western Plus I've stayed at in the last year and they continue to impress me for a 2-Star hotel. The rooms remind me of a better outfitted Motel 6 but where this place really shines is the breakfast. It is as good as if not better than most of the Hampton Inns I've stayed at. The breakfast attendant did a great job of keeping the place clean and stocked. You can tell she really takes pride in her work. The only thing I didn't like was the price. $120+ for a 2-Star hotel is a little too much. I booked through Hotwire, because it was $17 cheaper than the hotel website. Convienant location right of Hwy 50, near restaurants, fast food, gas and a shopping center.

The value is great and the rooms are nice (except my closet was super small). However, the outside freeway noise can be heard inside the room as well as the guests passing by. The clientele were very sketchy too. Only one elevator and one ice machine. The staff was very friendly.

We continue to stay at this hotel anytime we're in the Sacramento area. It is convenient to access, nice amenities, and financially reasonable. It is also close to several restaurants and gas stations which is convenient for the hotel guest.

I am not sure where these reviews came from cause we did not have anywhere the same experience. Our room was SUPER DIRTY! The carpet was so bad that I dropped a baby wipe on it picked it up dirty. They was so much noise into the wee hours of the night, I finally fell asleep at 2am. There were people up and down stairs yelling. The WORST THING IS OUR DOG FOUND A USED sex item somewhere in the room!!! The manager of course was speechless when we informed him this morning. He said he would not charge us for the room but I mean YUCK!

The hotel is off the highway so you can hear that noise. The walls were thin so I could hear conversations from the pool area (I was on the third floor) and outside my room. The sink area doesn't have space to lay a hairdryer or curling iron. The outlet is about 1-2 inches above the since which I think is a hazard. The hotel is walking distance to a McDonalds and a Mexican Restaurant which was convenient.

We have stayed here multiple times and the quality, both of the management, the breakfast and the rooms, seem to be slipping. First, however, the good: Jose, who helped us check in, was the best thing about the hotel. I used a free night voucher for one of the two nights and he figured out how to make everything work and gave us two bottles of water to take to our room as thanks for being a rewards member. He is a keeper and should be promoted. The exterior is still very nicer and welcoming and it's easily accessible from US-50. Now, the not as good; the manager whose I am regretfully blanking on, could take a lesson from Jose on customer service. Since we were using the voucher, we essentially had to check out and check back in again for the second night. (Very convoluted and makes me leery of ever using a free night for multiple night stays) He looked at the voucher as if it might bite him and, after halfheartedly trying to use it, said it wasn't any good. I knew it was as it was valid for another couple of months, so I persisted. Finally, he said he would call corporate. We had to go out for a bit and when we came back in 30 minutes, his attitude had changed. The corporate office had verified it, we weren't trying to pull a fast one so we were "honored guests." The next problem is the main outlet on the desk didn't work. ( yes it was plugged in which is the question that was asked when we reported it.) We tried everything and nothing worked. To charge our phones we ended up putting them on the floor. Also, there was a slight, odd smell in there that wouldn't go away. Still no fan in the bathroom either and no recycling container in the room. Lastly, breakfast. They seem to have stopped serving yogurt which disappointed my wife greatly. The scrambled eggs on day two were cold; they ran out of plates well before they were done serving and they ran out of waffle batter as well. Very disappointing. So, overall, a disappointing visit, disappointing enough that, despite our many visits at this hotel, we're looking at the other hotels close by ( Fairfield, Hyatt Place) for our next trip down there.

Good for business but also close to recreational attractions and shopping. Many restaurants close to hotel or a short drive by car. All the employees are pleasant and helpful. I will definately stay again on my next trip to the area.

No coffee cups, Only decaf coffee, charging station did not work, hair dryer did not work. All this plus they sort of lost reservation for about 10 minutes and were going to charge $20.00 more for room.

Upon check-in I found that I had made my reservation for the wrong day. Jose who the front desk clerk on duty when I checked-in fixed the problem right away. The room was clean and the staff was very pleasant and took care of any issues that came up. The parking was a little tight in some areas. The breakfast had a good variety of items to choose from. The one big downside for me was the amount of road noise from Highway 50 which is next to the hotel.

This is not a dog friendly establishment. We have stayed there many times but last two times we have had our service dog with us. There is inadequate area for the dogs to walk. There has always been dog droppings all over. There is a receptacle to put dog waste in but both times there were no disposal bags in the dispenser. We said something to the management and were told “ not my problem”. We have talked to the corporation and they say it's up to the management. One would think that if any establishment was representing Best Western that promotes being pet friendly that there would be some kind of blanket rules. Pet walk area with disposal bags and waste container and that they would have signs asking people to clean up after their pets. We stay in the Best Western in Winnemucca and their dog walk areas are always clean and the even provide a sheet so if your dog gets on the bed they have a sheet to lie on. That to me is pet friendly. We will choose to stay at a different motel in Rancho Cordova on our next visit. We value our service dog and his safety and cleanliness for him is important.

Came for business, was not in room much. Slept well and it was close to where I needed to be for work. Laces to eat near by and it was easy to find. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and up to date.

We stayed here for one night on a road trip to Disneyland. It was the perfect way to start our vacation. The staff was efficient and professional. The rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable. The room was perfect for our little family. The breakfast the next morning was also much better than expected. This was a nicer breakfast than typical hotels at this price point. We could make oatmeal with all the toppings, bake our own waffles, or even make french toast. And everything was so clean in the dining room and breakfast station that I felt comfortable eating there. Would definitely recommend this hotel for business or pleasure.

I stay at this hotel when doing business in Sacramento which is about once a month. It's always clean with friendly staff. I always feel comfortable and safe and will continue to stay at this location when I come to town. The staff always is very kind and tries to accommodate people.

This very convenient location is located in a hub of hotels. You can be in downtown Sacramento in twenty minutes while paying half the price. Rooms were nice and the breakfast was good. There are dining options within walking distance.

We were visiting family and needed Hotel nearby, this property looked good. We had a very comfortable, clean room. Very pleased with our accommodations, Wifi and television were good, and included breakfast. Prices were reasonable, would stay again.

This is a good hotel. The staff is very friendly and are you ready to assist you at all times. however this trip I had some problemes with the internet and the cable T.V. I called the front four (4) times before I could get anyone to answer the phone. The gym was not cleaned for 3 days during my stay but I attribute this to the holidays and they were probable short staff. I will still stay at this hotel when I am in the area.

The hotel is located right off the freeway and is a wonderful location. The beds are very comfortable but the rooms have not been updated for many, many years. There is a pool but no spa. The hotel does serve a very nice breakfast

The location was great. The staff was very nice and respectful to all customers. The only problem I had was the foul oder that was in my room that I could not get rid of. So maybe if they take a look into that. Than that will be greatly appreciated.

Although we had a bad experience in July of this year, we thought we'd give them one more chance. What a mistake. Upon check in, we were not welcomed as Best Western Diamond status, we were told we were "upgraded to a premium king room," which was what we actually paid for, and this room faced Highway 50 with traffic noise ALL night. This time the room was stocked with appropriate amount of coffee, shampoo, etc. but the breakfast, which is the hotel's one saving grace, was deplorable. The sausage were very low quality, with a strange taste, and the potatoes were way over-seasoned. The sausage and potatoes are usually are our favorite choices. My other favorite has always been their waffles, but now the batter is overly sweetened almost like cake batter. The fresh fruit was not fresh. The juice was diluted to the point of flavored water. My wife can't drink caffeinated coffee and was looking forward to a nice hot cup of decaf to start her morning. COLD at 6 a.m. We don't need something fancy, just something edible for breakfast. The one saving grace of this place was an awful experience. We're done. We know nothing will change. Management will respond to my Best Western survey as well as this review, as they always do: a canned response of "sorry we didn't exceed your expectations..."

The hotel was terrible due to the unhappy unpleasant staff that does not even greet you when you come to check in. I was not offered express checkout, shown where my room was, and no one told is the Wi-Fi password. She did not want to check us in like it was a chore.... Don't go to this hotel. The staff during the day were usually super nice but I'm not sure what happened when they decided to hire this woman. I called to discuss some discrepancies on the bill and she hung up in my face after giving me a piece of her mind and telling me she was busy ??

Overpriced for the quality. Check the linens closely. Last 4 times I stayed here they seemed like they were not clean. They never have that clean smell to them.Pillow cases and sheets are always wrinkled as if slept on and not changed. Second floor people smoke outside the rooms cigarettes & weed, if you have heat/AC on it sucks the smell into the room. They charge a resort fee,tried to tell me they ALWAYS done that. NO, this is the first time for me check my BW rewards.

We stayed here for a couple nights while visiting family in the area! When we arrived, the front desk clerk could not find our reservation, and they seemed a bit inept at searching or knowing what to do. We were basically told we weren't in the system. After insisting I had a confirmation code, we finally got them to look more and we were finally found... Decent location (little close to the freeway), nice lobby and good breakfast options, and they loan out golf clubs to practice on their putting green out back. The room was decent, but starting to show it's age. I wasn't nuts about the traffic in the parking lot, more than I would have preferred at times. A little noisy at night, so just a decent place to stay.

This was my second stay at this BW and I was left a bit disappointed, mostly because of the quality of the breakfast. The hotel is in a convenient location with easy access to HWY 50 and nearby shopping. Rooms facing the freeway can be noisy.

Our one night stay was OK but the evening receptionist lacked a welcoming personality and it appeared the outside are could use a little cleaning. It appeared that many people have used this hotel and the carpets could use a little sprucing up.

Good for an overnight stay.Was on my way back from Apple Hill Craft Fair. Had a voucher to use and thought I would stay over night to avoid traffic back to the bay area on Sunday night. Gave me a handicapped room when one was not needed.

For a last minute business trip, this place worked out perfectly. I was able to get a room in a safe, clean area close to my business meeting. Easy to find, beautiful rooms, pleasant service and a great hot breakfast-Pleasantly surprised and would stay there again.

We're long time loyal BW Rewards members & this is our first time at a BW "Plus" facility, so I'm not sure if the poor quality experience is due to this particular locale or if it's the same at all Plus hotels... The good: it's clean and updated. Staff does their best to help, but there's not much they can do. The bad: 1. We are very familiar with the area & the 24/7 steady traffic on Highway 50, so when we made our reservations, we asked for a room at the back side of the hotel. We were given a front room that is right next to the highway & overlooks all 8 lanes. Traffic noise is so loud, you can only drown out the noise by turning on the AC. The AC unit doesn't permit the drawing in if fresh air, so when the AC cycles off, the room is uncomfortably stuffy & noisy again. 2. Wifi is spotty at best. It was either super slow or "unavailable " so often that we gave up trying to do any work or trying to access anything over the internet. We ended up having to use our data allotment & our smartphones. Don't even think about streaming. 3. The breakfast buffet concept was good, but it's execution left a lot to be desired. We got there a bit before 8 (well within designated serving hours). The scrambled eggs were already gone & were never replenished the 30+ minutes we waited. The bead that was left was already drying up & its edges were curling up. We opted for cereal, but had to hunt down milk. That took a bit of doing. There appeared to be only one poor soul trying to take care of everything from emptying overflowing trash to doing tasks in the kitchen area. There needed to be 1-2 more staffers helping out. 4. Housekeeping is apparently not provided for guests who stay more than one night. At 3:30, when we returned from a day out, the bed was still unmade & the towels hadn't been changed. (BTW, check in is 3 PM) I realize the room rate was low, but the negatives we experienced made the deal no bargain.

Visit family and friends in Sacramento area to bring back some memories of days gone by but also included a Memorial Service for one of the family members. The Memorial Service became a major part of the visit and allow us to see more of the family members. Old Sacramento, Sutter's Fort, Calaveras County Big Trees and California Auto Museum were part of the trip. Of course the Amtrak ride and the meeting people from different backgrounds and occupations was a big plus for this trip.

Dirty carpet bothered me a lot. The room was OK and it served it's purpose. The breakfast experience on Monday was really pleasant because I saw Mrs. Omelet. It was a busy weekend for Sacramento because almost all the hotels were booked but I was able to get a good deal.

There was no food at breakfast, not even coffee or juice. The shower head didn't put out enough water to hardly even get the soap off and it was really hard to get on the internet. I don,t think I will be staying there again.

Our room was on the second floor all the way to the end. Tried three separate devices with no connection. Called the front desk and all they told me was the hotel was full and everyone must be on line. So now I'm trying the next day at 5am and same results, no connectivity. We were planning on staying here for a few days but now we will find a different hotel because of this. If you are planning on staying here and want internet, ask to see your room and check the connectivity.

My husband and I recently booked a 2-night stay at the Best Western Plus Rancho Cordova Inn and did not make it through the second night. When we checked in very late the first night, we were really tired and just wanted somewhere clean and quiet to lay our heads for the night. Check-in went smoothly and we were in our room in no time. Upon initial inspection, the room we received looked clean and had all of the amenities needed to make our stay most convenient (fridge, microwave, plenty of towels, etc.). We were worn out from a long day of traveling and hurriedly went to bed, not giving a second thought to a thorough inspection of the room. BIG MISTAKE! The next morning when we got up, my husband noticed what looked like multiple insect bites on both his arms and was wondering where these bites might have come from since he hadn't had them prior to arriving at the hotel. Since we were preparing for another long day of travel in the area at that point, he didn't give it much more thought until later in the day when he noticed he had a lot more bite marks that he originally realized because they were beginning to itch more and feel almost callous-like. When we finally returned to the hotel later that night, my husband was convinced that we had some kind of bugs in our room that were causing the bite marks (possibly bedbugs) and was more than ready to leave as he refused to spend another night at the hotel under these conditions. I went in to speak to the hotel front desk personnel as soon as we arrived back that night and spoke to a worker named Marin about the situation, letting him know that my husband and I believed our room may have bedbugs and we did not feel comfortable staying at the hotel another night due to that fact and would be checking out early. Marin seemed rather perplexed by the thought of our room having bedbugs and mentioned that this was not an issue he was aware of the hotel having, but suggested that maybe the hotel having pets allowed on the property could be the source of any bug problem. At this point, my husband and I could care less where the bugs were coming from, we just wanted to be as far away from them as possible and not risk getting any in our luggage. When I asked Marin how we could get the issue resolved, he advised me to speak with the hotel manager, Naira [-], the next morning at 7am which is when he told me she would be working. I told Marin that I would do just that, but my husband and I would still be checking out immediately. Marin proceeded to explain to me that he could not check us out until 12:00pm the next day, which is the hotel's checkout time. This statement made absolutely no sense to me since I have stayed in many a hotel and have NEVER been told that checking out BEFORE the hotel's checkout time was not possible. After questioning him about this checkout "policy", I informed Marin that my husband and I would be going to collect our belongings from our room and returning to checkout immediately and any further issues would be addressed with the hotel manager by me the next morning. When my husband and I returned to our room to collect our belongings and checkout, we found a ROACH crawling across our hotel room floor (shown below postmortem after my husband killed it)! This solidified our decision to leave the hotel and we packed up our things as quickly as possible and returned to the front desk to checkout. Marin took our room keys and said he would check us out, but when I requested a checkout receipt, he again claimed he could not provide me with a checkout receipt at that time because the receipt would not include all charges until 12:00pm the next day, at which time he could have it emailed to me. Once again, this checkout "policy" was something totally unheard of in all my years of traveling, but I was not going to stay and debate the point with Marin as it seemed pointless. When I called to speak to the general manager, Naira, the next morning around 7:30am, I was told by a different hotel worker that she would not be in until 4 or 5pm that day. It really seemed like I was getting the run-around at this point and after finally talking to Naira, who was equally unhelpful, I totally understood why. Long story short, my stay at this hotel has been one of the worst hotel experiences I have had in all my years of traveling and I would NEVER recommend this hotel or Best Western (this was my first and last stay at a Best Western hotel) to anyone who values their health or just plain quality hotel service. If staying in a roach motel that holds you hostage for checkout and may have bedbugs and/or fleas is your sort of thing, however, this might just be the place for you.

Good value, clean rooms, comfortable bed, great coffee. Very convenient for work. Plenty of parking, close to fast food. Love the staff, very nice, courteous and always ask how my stay is. Nice big tub/shower and toiletries leave a clean fresh smell.

Nice place, good value, good breakfast, quiet Neighbour hood, places to eat close by. Overall decent place. I wish they read my request and bright the crib as I needed one, that was an inconvenience to me

Was told it was broken, a regular room was the only option. They could not accommodate my accessibility request. Could have booked anywhere in town if a regular room was all I needed. Bathroom fan did not work. Will not stay here again!

The front desk lady was really helpful. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was pretty good. Several restaurants and a Costco near the hotel. Basically, it provides everything I need for a business trip there. I'll be back again. Thanks!

This hotel is always clean and offers a full breakfast that is hot and fresh. Hotel employees are helpful and friendly. We travel for business to Sacramento often and stay at this Best Western Plus every time we are in town.

We have stayed here several times in the last year and have been pleased each time, We picked this hotel initially mostly because of location but the amenities keep bringing us back. The rooms are fine but we appreciate the decent wifi and the excellent breakfast. My only complaint is that the toaster in the breakfast area really needs to be replaced. It takes forever to toast anything so I just give up. I should have mentioned it last year. Two smaller toasters would work better so there isn't such a bottleneck at the toaster.

Management and employees obviously take pride in their establishment. Everyone eager to assist, and very courteous. All areas that I used were outstanding. These included the breakfast, fitness facility, and of course the room. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Sacramento area.

Don't expect to get work done online it my several minutes to send text email or load web. Web apps are not possible they will time out. Noise can also be afactor but being next to 50 is convenient. Staff runs the gamut from superlative to mediocre. Have stayed many times would do so again in the absence of a better value.

We stopped at this location after being exhausted, we were traveling with our two children, We chose the best western because we are members, Check in staff was great. Although, I requested a downstairs room and was inconveniently put on the 3rd floor. The room was clean, but very small... not much room for our toddler to even move around in. We brought food with us and stuck in in the fridge, we woke the next morning to the refrigerator not working and our food was ruined. We brought it to the front desk staff's attention and she made us feel as if we were just complainers, followed by some eye-rolls. She brought it to the managers attention and he pretty much said there was nothing he could do! My family and I would not choose this location for any future stays, because we felt like we were inconveniencing the staff.

For us the location was perfect as we were visiting friends in Folsom, CA. I splurged for the upgrade of "interior access" to the room and it was worth it. Room was quite nice, a little small but very nice. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was roomy. Just wish the room was a little roomier. Breakfast was very nice with two choices of eggs and two choices for meat protein along with potatoes.

During my stay, my car got broken into and they stole the Sony wireless headphones. Also, there were smell in the rooms and carpet seemed little dirty. Otherwise, staff was very helpful and welcoming. The whole Process was hassle free.

This is a beautiful property. The breakfast was one of the best we've been to, but the area this motel is in is not very safe. My adult daughters stayed there one night before I got there and were followed by strange men back to their room! Also there was cigarette smoke in the non-smoking room we reserved and weed on the floor. We left after 2 days. I just can't have my kids in danger, doesn't matter that they are in their mid 20's. Staff was very very friendly and helpful.

I have been here several times over the past several years. Always find the place clean, staff friendly and attentive and rooms in pretty good shape. Usually here on business so amities are not usually a concern. Have found this hotel to provide a typical BW breakfast but clean and attended.

Hotel is clean and beds are super comfortable. Breakfast is usually good. Stay here a couple times a year when attending horse shows only complaint is I always have to ask for more towels they only put in three even when there is four people registered. And the showers could have a bit more pressure. Not fancy but always clean.

This hotel was very nice, staff were friendly, location was perfect for our wedding in Rocklin, and able to go to Old Sac very easily during the days we had free time. Restaurants and shopping were very close to the hotel as well.

Due to unforeseen circumstances we ended up spending two nights here. The staff was extremely accomodating and helped to make a bad situation bearable. We had a problem with the TV that was immediately attended to. We would stay here again!

Very nice property. Room was spacious with lots of desk counter space. Good power outlet access. Get a room on the top floor to get away from the noisy pool activity. Breakfast was excellent. This is a go-to business stop for me.

I stayed at this hotel March 2016 and was pleasantly surprised. Everything was great, the decor, room & breakfast was great. These are the reasons I returned this year and will continue to stay here on my future Sacramento visits.

The Best Western is a good place for the casual traveler. It has comfortable beds, friendly staff and clean rooms. The breakfast and coffee is very good and the hostess staff are friendly and keep things clean and well stocked.The biggest problem I had was a hotel staff member, Mike assured me he had cancelled a reservation that I had through Booking.com. This was done by Mike so that I would not be double booked or double charged since I had also booked through Best Western( I'm Best Western rewards member).I noticed and pointed out to Mike that Booking.com had a lower rate and asked Mike if Best Western could price match Booking.com. Mike assured me that could be done without a problem. So after a somewhat short discussion Mike told I needed to call Booking.com to ensure that there would be a double booking. So before retiring that night Mike assured me if there were any further problems management would take care of my situation. So... as it stands today the day before I leave everything appears to be taken care of. I'll find out if the corrected billing statement I signed will reflect the adjusted pricing upon my departure, hopefully it will. Right now I think I owe Mike and management at Best Western an apology because they have put my mind at ease and everything appears to be fine. One last thing when I did arrive 7/21/17 my original assigned room had a cigarette smoked in smell and was quickly exchanged for a smoke free room. The newly assigned room had a T.V. remote that needed to be programmed and a noisy A/C unit that needed repair. Both problems were addressed immediately the next day by the on duty manager. Although the A/C is still quite noisy but tolerable. I agree with others who have stayed here before, including myself if you want a quiet room choose one on the third floor and away from the highway. With all that I've said I probably would stay here again and would still recommend this Best Western.

AC is not working and not maintained. I got a flu virus by the next morning my nose was stuffed up and i got a scratchy throat. Then the next day it got worse. I went purchased cough medication and cough drops. I got a fever the third day and still have congestion as of 7/25/17

We have stayed in this hotel numerous times during the past two years and have seen a steady decline in cleanliness and overall thoroughness of staff. Upon check in, we lugged our baggage down a long hall, only to discover the room was occupied! So we had to haul our belongings back down to the lobby to get a key for another room, and haul all our stuff back upstairs. I used bathroom cleaner and one of the towels to check the cleanliness of the tub and found it to be dirty! I then cleaned the sink, counter surfaces and toilet seat to assure we at least had some cleanliness during our stay. I used the cleaner on the "clean remote" and it was obviously dirty! Some bath items such as a shower cap were missing and only a few tissues were in the tissue dispenser. The location of this hotel is very convenient for us and we truly hope they will focus on cleaning and stocking each room as they had in the past. This is the only Best Western we have stayed in where they did not acknowledge us as Diamond Members.

Stayed here for a night while doing the river rafting. We arrived early to the property and room was not ready yet but were given keys to come back later and allowed us to park the car there. Took uber to the rafting place which was less than 10 minutes away, Came back to a quiet and clean room. Beds were comfortable and internet was quick. Did not get to try out the breakfast but it seem like they had quite a selection as well as a nice lobby and breakfast area. I would stay again whenever i come back.

I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff makes you feel right at home. Like family. The rooms were neat and clean. Everything worked as it should. The shampoo and soaps were a step above your usual hotel fare, really, really nice. Towels and bedding etc. good quality. The bed very comfortable. AC worked very well in the room which was great since it was 106 outside! Large parking lot and restaurants within walking distance. A very nice stay.

Comfortable, clean and they take dogs. Breakfast area clean and food good. We were close to shopping and family. Parking good, fast food near by, if in a hurry for a quick bite. Freeways close yet quiet so sleep not disturbed. We felt saf.

The hotel stay was great! I came out to see the Fair and the Best Western Rancho Cordova was there to continue the great experience. The hotel has easy access, plenty of parking and quiet rooms. I had a good night's sleep and a great breakfast. I would come back again.

Sometimes you may book during a time when another group has booked that has a large number of children traveling with them (ie baseball teams, etc). You may run the risk of it being a bit too noisy to get a sound nights rest.

I have stayed at this hotel before and gotten good service so I am not sure if the management changed or what. We stayed for 5 nights and the first 2 nights our room did not get cleaned until almost 6 in the evening. When I asked the desk clerk at 5 about the room not being cleaned he was quite rude to me. This is not the service Best Western normally provides. The room was clean and the bed comfortable so no complaints there. The breakfast could use a little improvement. The oatmeal seemed like it was reheated from day to day, there were no hard boiled eggs and for a couple days no yogurt, so it was a little disappointing. Not sure if I will stay here again with several other options available in the neighborhood.

This is a great lodging place. Courteous and helpful staff; great breakfast; location convenient to all Sacramento activities; right off the I-50 freeway. Decent price. I would recommend this motel to anyone -- family, business, whoever.

Pros: nice front desk and lobby area. Free parking. Comfortable bed with fairly soft sheets. Cons: room is smaller than others at this price point. The cigarette smoke smell has not quite been completely eradicated from back when smoking was allowed in California hotels. Probably due to the worn and old carpeting. The room does not feel very modern. Lots of different shades of brown used in the decor that looked like they were probably in fashion back in the late 70s or early 80s. Lamp on the desk does not work. Pool is open until 11 pm, which seems unreasonably late to me, especially if you'd like to sleep and there are screaming kids in the pool. 10 pm is much more reasonable. Also, on a very warm day, it seems likely that most people would like to take a dip in a pool that is a little on the cold side. My family and I found this pool to be about 10° warmer than it really should be. More like taking a bath - not very refreshing. LOTS of freeway noise if you have a window overlooking the pool. Fortunately, I found a setting on the outdated air-conditioning unit under the window that allows the fan to blow all night, creating white noise that will hopefully drown out all the big rigs I can hear screaming by on the freeway. The bathroom has been "sort of" updated, but is still quite a bit smaller than others at this price point. Water pressure in the shower is pretty weak. Very little counter space. Towels are smaller than average and not of good quality. To be fair, I have not yet tried the free breakfast. I am sure that it will be very nice. However, even a very nice breakfast cannot offset the downsides of this experience. To me, a room such as this, in this condition, is worth really no more than $100 a night. How I got stuck paying $150 a night is most definitely my problem, and I will own it. However, probably will not return to this hotel again. Instead, I will search out another hotel of higher quality that has a pool, for the next time I am visiting family in the area.

Just stayed here for three nights with several friends to attend a track & field event at Sacramento State. The location was very convenient, the front desk staff very helpful & friendly, and the rooms were clean and had all you needed (comfortable bed, small refrigerator & good shower/bathroom facilities) in a fairly spacious format. Significantly, if you are planning a summer visit, the AC in the rooms worked great. & a pool that was good to cool off in. Also of note was a much better-than-normal breakfast service which is included with the room. All in all, it was an excellent value. Special thanks to Armen who greeted us & was very helpful during our stay.

Great location near many amenities. Reception area is attractively decorated-welcoming and clean.Room was nicely decorated even if a little small. Their pool and miniature golf were a plus even if I didn't use. Really appreciated good wifi, free access to computers and a printer. Printer was low on ink but hotel clerk graciously allowed us to fwd emails to him so they could be printed out on office printer. Their breakfast area is large and comfortable. Food selection very good: two styles of eggs, yogurt, two types of wafflemakers, many toppings for parfait/waffles/oatmeal. Great job Best Western!

We are in the middle of a heat wave and my air conditioner went out. Of course, no one can repair it now, so I went to the Best Western Plus in Rancho Cordova to wait it out. First off, the staff was so accommodating. Naira, the General Manager, is so genuinely nice and cares about her guests as if they were guests in her own home. She helped me get a room for the week on short notice, and did so with a smile. When I walked into my room, the first thing I noticed was the clean smell. The room was immaculate. There was even an animal made out of towels on my bed. What a laugh! The second thing I noticed was how cool it was. Even though it was 107 outside, the room was a chilly 70 degrees. The bed was comfortable and there were four fluffy pillows that aided in a very peaceful night of sleep. The next morning, I went to the breakfast buffet, and was amazed at the variety of foods. I probably had the best sausage iv'e had in a long time at the buffet. There were yogurts, fresh fruit, bagels, donuts, cereal, oatmeal, eggs, made to order waffles and so much more. I've stayed in a lot of hotels in my life, and "breakfast" at hotels usually consist of coffee, juice, fruit and cereal if you're lucky, but not here. Again, I think it's the pride that the manager has for the property and wanting her guest to be happy. From the looks of the other guests in the dining room, I would say that she is succeeding. For those of you who like to swim, there's a nice pool on the property as well as a putting green. I didn't hit the pool because it was so hot, but I did see lots of families lounging around and the kids splashing around in the pool having the time of the lives. So, if you are in the area and need a very clean hotel with a great staff, I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay. You won't be disappointed!

My experience was great !!! You will not be disappointed. The breakfast variety is great. The hotel is close to the freeway and restaurants are within walking distance. Also gas station are close by. I would strongly recommend this hotel for your next stay.

I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past due to a contract with a local college. The staff is always great and are very quick to reply to any request you may have. The breakfast staff is really great and are better than any restaurant waiter or waitress so you don't mind leaving a tip.

I have stayed at this location many, many nights and always have a great stay. Naira and Hiek are very accommodating and do everything that they can to make sure you have a great stay! The rooms are very comfortable and I love that fact that is it a NON SMOKING property.

Daily FREE Breakfast and clean comfortable room. What more can you ask for at the price of around $100 a night. I didn't need a gym or full service amenities, this was excellent for the price and great location.

We always stay here when we go to Sacramento. The staff is very accommodating. They remember us when we arrive. The breakfast is one of the best ones we have found. Location is central to family. The rooms are always clean and the beds are very comfortable. I enjoy talking with fellow veterans that stay there as it is near a large veterans hospital.

Clean rooms, staff friendly and informative about the area. If you are headed to the area this hotel gives a lot of value for the price. Just a very clean and well taken care of property. Will stay again when in the area.

My boyfriend and I stay here when he has early morning appointments scheduled at the Mather VA Hospital. Our most recent stay was great, as usual! Clean, quiet, comfortable room. The mattress is "just right." We didn't have a chance to check out the breakfast as his surgery was at 0600 hrs. the next morning, but we had a good night's sleep, and will definitely be staying here again!

Wonderful staff, clean hotel, great location, and tasty buffet breakfast. The only problem was that I could not get online on the computers in the business center but I believe they are working on that. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in town

My stay at best western plus in rancho cordova was Wonderful. The staff was friendly got checked in in a timely manner. Front desk staff were very professional. Housekeeping were friendly and the rooms were clean the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very good and there were a big selection of food items. The GM is a very nice and friendly person. Will always stay when i come to Sacramento. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This hotel is getting a little worn around the edges. The rooms door was out of plumb leaving a large gap at the bottom, this allowed a lot of noise to enter the room. Two USB ports in the room to recharge mobile devices were both defective. The room itself is a little on the small side. On the positive side they do have a remodeling program underway to update the rooms. The hotel staff are pleasant and they gave me a first floor room as i had requested. Overall I would give them a strong C grade.

This Best Western is a good value for the area. Convenient location with simple access to freeway and shopping, Breakfast is included and was enough to satisfy anyone. Free WIFI good for business or email use.

My husband Gene who mobility challenged & I can here for our niece's graduation from CBU ! We were in room 206. Traveling can be challenging. You have the best bathroom w/roll in shower complete with pull down shower chair! Breakfast is great! The room are great with comfortable beds! Your staff is very accommodating. Marie was wonderful supplying extra we required for my husband. We will definitely stay her again. Proximity to airport, shopping was great. Thanks Best Western

The room was clean and comfortable but the traffic noise made the stay uncomfortable. And trash pickup at 5am sounded like it was right outside of my room. Staff was courteous and cheerful. Breakfast was typical.

Hotel is VERY clean. Restrooms. ..guestrooms..lobby..eating area...parking lot..entire exterior. Customer service and staff were very kind and helpful. Young man at front desk..Armid was very kind and professional.

Great rates will match others if you contact directly. Hard to find as it's tucked behind other inns. Make turn in just past MacDonalds and Shell stn. Mexican restaurant and McDs adjacent. Convenient to hwy 16 to gold country.

This hotel is close to the freeway. I recommend a room away from the freeway noise. The freeway noise could keep you awake. There are no elevators at the end of each hall way. Very inconvient if you park behind the hotel. Room walls are not very sound proof. The room door does not muffle or suppress the noise people make or when talking outside the door. It's as if your door is open. Light switch in the bathroom is located on the left wall, normally it's located on the right wall as you enter the bathroom so that you can turn the bath room lighs on. Microwave and fridge are located inside the clothes closet. Very dark area and not easy to see the microwave settings. the fridge door opens from the wrong side. It should open from the right side especially when put inside the clothes closet. Hotel staff are very kind and helpful. Breakfast is top notch. Dish network is used for TV programs. Channel selection on TV is confusing. Internet connection is NOT secure and not easy to connect to the hotel server. Never use un-secured internet connections, hotel or otherwise, because this is a hacker's paradise.

the rooms were sooo clean! the things i look for in a hotel is: 1) How clean the rooms are 2) How nice the front desk and house keeping staff is, and lastly, if my stuff is cleaned while i'm out and about. i love to come to a clean room! the prices were amazing as well! but i just can't get over about how organized and clean the rooms are! Great job Best Western!

Great hotel, great location. Pet friendly and very friendly staff. I will definitely stay here again. I like how close food, Starbucks, and access to freeway. The rooms are really good at cancelling out noise from outside.

I had to be in suburban Sacramento for a family event, and I selected the BW Plus as my place to stay because it offered convenience and a price significantly below the other options. I have stayed in Rancho Cordova multiple times and all of the hotels there are flawed, though the Marriott is pretty solid. The first thing you should know is that this place is a little hard to find. It's not on the main road, but off a side road behind a McDonalds; the sign is small and the new BW logo looks too much like the Dairy Queen logo to stand out. Do not expect anything other than a motel here- I'm not sure what the “Plus” refers to. The rooms open to the ground or an outside walkway, which limits your privacy, but for a motel it's fine. At this particular moment they are doing roof work, so I asked not to be on the top floor. This put me into a so-called accessible room. As someone who does not have a physical handicap, this means mostly that the bathroom is twice as large as normal to accommodate a wheelchair, so the rest of the room is smaller than normal. This did not bother me, though it would have been nice if the desk clerk had mentioned this to me (and it would have been even nicer had they told me about the roof work in advance). The people who work here are very nice and helpful. The breakfast is good considering the price of the room, and the noise from the adjacent freeway is bearable. Keep in mind that the price and breakfast and convenience is prone to attracting groups of young people, so you can't come here expecting peace and quiet. It's a solid budget choice.

We stayed here two nights while our pup had surgery at the VCA hospital in Sacramento. This pet friendly motel is conveniently located and has several restaurant options nearby. Rooms reasonably clean, with small refrigerator. Adequate for our visit.

A nice Best Western Plus Motel. The room was clean but little bit small. The closet was in a corner and cramped. other than that the room was fine with an over sized television and comfortable bed. The breakfast bar was one of the best that I have seen. It included two waffle makers and all of the other standard scrambled eggs, sausages, fruit,etc.

Hotel is kept clean and the staff is very friendly. The full breakfast is amazing. Beds are very comfortable. Always stay at this property when doing business in Sacramento and never had any issues. Recommend highly.

My wife and I stayed here two nights during Thanksgiving. The hotel is ok but we were on e freeway side of the building and we were woken up by vehicles several times each night. The breakfast they serve in the morning was quite good. It also increases the value of the stay.

We always try to stay at BW and we realize that there are differences from one to another. I found this BW to be average and needs to improve. Front desk staff should be more friendly, I should not have to ask for a "do not disturb" hanger for my room, I also should have been giving the room that I requested or told that it was NOT available, all I wanted was a top,end room. The breakfast gal was fantastic and made our stay enjoyable. Thank you

A very good two night stay. No problems. Facilities, personnel and total experience were all just fine. Close to the highway but did not notice any traffic noise, and convenient for our needs. Would recommend to all who inquire.

I spent the weekend with my girlfriend at the best western plus in rancho cordova california. IT was nice and quite and very comfortable. The breakfest was great since im always hungry and plenty of it.

Safe , Friendly ,Clean, Family oriented!!! Full hot and cold breakfast. Staff is so friendly!!! The only thing I experienced this time was the hot water was not very hot on second floor above the breakfast room downstairs room was facing pool.

My stay at this hotel was just ok. No major issues but it wasn't the most comfortable and I was ready to go when my stay ended. The windows on the rooms in the first couple of floors face the walkway and therefore offers no privacy if you want to open the curtains. Therefore, I had to keep the curtains closed the entire time I was in the room which made me feel Iike I was staying in a cave. Unfortunately, I was there for a longer business trip and was VERY READY TO GET OUT OF THERE AT THE END OF MY STAY. As I was there for 11 nights, I felt confident they would be willing to move me but they were unwilling to do so.

The people in the front office are polite and accommodating , rooms are very clean. The room rates here are very fair, i believe the best in the area, even on the weekends. Pet friendly also i see! Last but not least they have the best continental breakfast i've even eaten and seen, will gladly return. And i highly suggest to anyone in the atea - Gerald Matt Spangler

The staff was excellent, even though the were new. The kept us informed during the power outage. Throughout our stay we enjoyed the service and security of the Hotel. I would definitely recommend this Best Western to friends and family visiting the area.

We stayed this past weekend while visiting our daughter and family, we have stayed here three times before and as always enjoyed our visit. The hotel is pet friendly which is a big plus since we usually bring our dog. The rooms are large and well laid out the beds are very comfortable the AC was very nice since it was very hot!! The pool is great not big but good enough and just right The breakfast was good and plenty Of choices the service was great and easy check in. We recommend

Hotel overall is not bad, rooms clean and fresh. Exterior could use a deep clean and breakfast could use a refresh, many items not as fresh as they should be. My issues is with the young man at the desk, who has no business being in customer service. I travel for work and stay in BW as much as possible and have never been treated with such a lack of respect and follow through. If you say you are going to do something then follow through and do it. I should not have to ask multiple times for a confirmation and then have to ask just as many times for a receipt. Or call multiple times for needed items. Do not give me attitude because you are to lazy to do your job, if you have an issue with that get out of customer service. To the GM, your property is not up to BW standards and you need to train your staff and pay attention to details. Will not be staying or recommending this location moving forward.

The Best Western in Ranch Cordova was a few miles out of the way. However, as a State employee, the options within the state government rate are limited. This was by far the best choice I've found in Sacramento. The room was quiet, the breakfast decent, the clientele reasonably upscale - enough. The staff weren't immediately available, but very professional and helpful as soon as they appeared. I will very likely stay here again. My first choice is always a Hampton Inn, but I can't seem to find them at the state government rate. Very pleased with Best Western given the price constraints. I think it's probably the best choice for the limited budget.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We checked in and the room we were given was very nice, clean, and comfortable. Then we realized that the TV sound wasnt workng on the one channel we wanted to watch. Monday night football (my husband & I are both serious fans) the guy came to fix it in less than 5 minutes. When he couldnt get it fixed after several attempts, they gave us another room right away. The FREE breakfast was great. Nice selection and good taste. The pool looked very nice & clean although we didnt use it. The place was very quiet & peaceful which was surprising since its right next to the freeway. We were there for 3 days and defnately stay there again.

The front desk personnel were cold, never smiled, did not offer a greeting. I always felt like I was disturbing them. The housekeeping staff was very good. After I checked in to my room I had to go ask for a luggage stand, a TV channel line up, and a do not disturb sign. I asked to have a light bulb replaced, but it was never done. Check out was as bad as the check in. He never spoke to me at all. I handed him the key, went to get ice. When I came back he was gone. There was no receipt. Very rude.

I stayed at the hotel for 5 days for business. The staff were terrific; they were always available and helpful and kind. My bed was particularly comfortable, and the room was quiet. The air conditioner was quiet. There were enough tables for all of the guests for breakfast. Access to the freeway is easy, and there is a McDonald's a few steps from the hotel.

Very clean, friendly staff......quiet even next to freeway!!! A small problem with showerhead that was immediately addressed. I will definitely stay there again. Thank you for the pleasant experience. I will be back again for sure.

Nearby (McDonalds and Casa Ramos) Get old very fast .... The hotel property was nice with our room up on the third floor (# 319) and breakfast each morning. Had an incident where I contacted local police, they informed me ... "Locate the person and call us back, then we'll come out" .. After reporting a person attempting enter into the aforementioned CLOSED businesses at 3:30 AM while walking my dog ..

We stayed here for an entire week for track championships. I chose BW Plus because in Washington, they're pretty nice. California was less so. It's a non-smoking hotel with ashtrays situated at the end of the hallways. Our room happened to be in the corner at the end of the hallway and I'm allergic to smoke. We came back from long hot days at the track and there would be smokers outside our room. Surprisingly, our room didn't smell smokey. We received a really good deal on the room rate which was higher than a motel but under $100/night. We were put on the 2nd floor with motel like doors and windows open to the outdoors. The 3rd floor had enclosed hallways which I wish we had. However because our rooms were on the end corners, the windows were on the back of the room offering more privacy and security. The room was smaller, and it felt small with 2 teens and 2 adults. There wasn't room to lay out our suitcases. There's a large wardrobe which also housed the refrigerator and microwave - essential for long stays in the 100+ degree weather of sunny Sacramento. The beds were actually quite comfy. I prefer when there are outlets or USB chargers in the lamp or on the nightstand or desk, but this wasn't available. I had to push the nightstand to plug in our phone charger in a wall outlet. It was a bit dusty back there. The bathroom was actually a good size, but with a small vanity and a razor thin shelf that really couldn't support our toiletry bags. The shower worked great, although another track family had a tub where the water didn't drain. They called management several times and it was never taken care of. They ended up buying drain decloggers and fixing it themselves. Since I coordinate all travel for the team, I was unhappy this happened to them. There is housekeeping service every day although one day, we came back at 4:00 and the housekeeper was just entering the room. We were informed that the entire scheduled staff hadn't shown up to work and they had to call in workers. (????) There didn't seem to be an ice machine that I saw. There were complimentary hot breakfasts. And there were adequate washers and dryers available for use. There was an outdoor swimming pool and sunning area, but it was nothing like the double indoor pools at the Washington BW Plus. The bonus of this hotel is the location. It is right off the freeway. There is a McDonalds and convenience store literally a one minute walk from the hotel across the parking lot. Across the road one way is Walmart, Target, and a bunch of dining options. Down the back road about half a mile is a Starbucks and other great dining options, including Habit Burger, a newfound favorite of mine. It's also just a 10 minute drive from Sacramento State, where we had to drive to every day. I don't know if there just isn't traffic in Sacramento, but we didn't encounter any. It's also just about 10 minutes from Folsom, which has a large outlet mall, movie theaters and restaurants. It's also about a 20 minute drive to Arden Fair Mall which has a large retail mall and restaurants all up and down Arden Way. My last weird experience was check out. The guy at the desk was odd, but checkout was quick. He said he would email me the receipt, pressed a key and said it was done. He didn't confirm my email address but I assumed it would go through. I got in the car and checked my email, and there was no email receipt. We drove down the block and stopped at the ATM. When I still had no email, I called the hotel and asked the front desk to email it again. He confirmed my email address this time and said he resent it. I got nothing. We drove back to Best Western and made the front desk guy print us a hard copy. I never did get either email. I watched my charge card to make sure we were charged properly and we were. I guess not all BWs are created the same.

BW is located in an area with plenty of dining and shopping near by. It has great freeway access but most importantly the rooms are very clean, beds are very comfortable, breakfast is good with plenty of food choices.

We have stayed at this hotel several times and love the beds. The beds are very comfortable. The service at this hotel could be better. We always have 4 people in our room and they consistently only leave 3 sets of towels. This last time we stayed there, housekeeping didn't notice the 2 empty rolls of toilet paper in the bathroom. We had to go down to the front desk to get more. They do have a great breakfast in the mornings with a large variety of both hot and cold items. We love this place because of the beds so we put up with the shortage of towels. We've learned to just ask for more towels before heading up to our room.

Great location! Stayed 2 nights. Visited family in Carmichael and then a small get together with more family at the hotel the next day. Enjoyed lunch at Ramos Mexican Restaurant next door. My grandson especially enjoyed the children's museum just down the street. McDonald's was also there so we enjoyed some ice cream that hot summer night. Everything was so close! American river was not far away. Saw lots of rafters on the river. The hotel was clean, service was great and the breakfast was good! Hung out at the pool for quite a few hours one day. They also have a little putting green. Great place! I would stay there again on a future visit.

This is a great hotel in a very good location. Very close to the highway. Near a lot eating places fitting all kinds of budget. The room was very neat and quiet. Had a great stay at this hotel. The hot breakfast was really good.

This is the old renovated Red Lion Hotel from back in the day, and now that Best Western now owns the property everything is just as nice. Courteous staff upon check-in, clean room, nice bed, hot water, microwave, fridge, TV, etc. There is a pool but I didn't use it. While my initial stay was nice something that will make me never want to spend another dime at a Best Western property is the annoying house keeping staff. Check-out for hotel guests is at 12pm. So why was I harassed twice by housekeeping at 10:30am to check out? Never again. I'm even cancelling that rewards card that I have through the hotel brand. So long!

overall a good hotel, but the cleaning service could be improved, we stayed 8 nights and bed was not changed until the 7th night. Breakfast varied on what was available, some days there was a selection of fruit and others there was none. The cooked breakfast was generally good, with scrambled eggs, sausages etc., The lift broke down twice during our stay

The pictures captured great aspects of this hotel. It is conveniently located to nearby stores and restaurants if you need to take a walk. The neighboring companies are willingly to offer discounts due to the great business relationship established with Best Western. The staff was very pleasant, the food was outstanding and would highly recommend!

this was supposed to be a vacation for me and my sisters ,we booked this hotel because of the great reviews and it was close to our brothers home,,,we traveled from buffalo ny ,our experience was terrible ,,we asked for queen size beds we got full size,, we left the service our room sign on our door every day and our room was not cleaned the first 4 days we were there ,every night we had to go down 3 flights of stairs to get clean towels and washcloths ,the elevator was not working .I am very unhappy as this was my first ever vacation with my sisters .

We were expecting a great room and hotel. We were wrong! This hotel is dirty and broken down and unkept. The room we were given had cracked sinks and a totally broken chair that was not possible to sit in. The halls were dirty and the hallway in front of the elevator was extremely dirty. The Front Desk Clerks were uncaring and didn't give much attention to anything. I watched other guests and they were rude and distant to all. They wore no name tags or uniforms and looked like gas station attendants. They were obliviously there only for a job and were not hospitable at all. The pool area was nice in the morning but got progessively dirty as the day wore on and there was no one cleaning up or taking care of it. The towels were always gone and no new ones ever appeared./ In addition the water was cloudy so we had to question when the last time it was tested was. We didn't go in the water as a result. On Saturday we left a "clean our room" card on the door at 7:30 assuing it would be clean by noon when we returned. It wasn't. We left and refurned again at 7 and it still was not clean. We found the maid and asked why it wasn't clean and she said she wasn't going to clean it because we had the card on the door. She obviously couldn't read English. or didn't want to. We asked that she clean it and she then said she was going home. We talked with the front desk who merely glanced at us and laughed ,. This was not a good hotel to choose. The grounds were filthy, the hallways and outdoor walkways were dirty, the weeds were growing happily, and the employees are unaware of everything. The elevator quit working three times during our two day stay. We were leary to use it. While they say they have an inspection form, it is hidden in the office instead of where you can see it, and with the attitude of the employees, I believe it has been quite a while since they have had the elevator serviced. DO NOT CHOOOSE THIS HOTEL. WE WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN AND WILL ENCOURAGE EVERYONE WE KNOW GOING TO THAT AREA TO STAY AWAY FRON THIS HOTEL! I am curious how Best Western allows this type of hotel to be under their name, especiallyl as a PLUS hotel. It is a minus horrible hotel.

Unfortunately, this has to be the WORST hotel experience we had. We went to California for a baseball tournement we came with 15 families, needless to say the staff was miserable, especially the manager Naria. She did nothing but yell at our group. Ie, to loud in pool area, she even had the nerve to say she didnt care about the 15,000 we brought to get facility, broke ping pong table (which was already broken) parents had to go out and by balls and paddles, because staff wouldnt give to kids. One night the manager came out and started screaming at parents because the pool closed at 1000 and we were there later, when infact the sign says pool closed at 1100. Fridges didnt work in some rooms, rooms were cleaned even when door hanger said please clean room. Outside plants were all dead, at breakfast there wasnt enough food for our group on some days. This place would never get a recommendation from the 15 families that went there to have a enjoyable day of baseball and come back an unwind at hotel.

Nick at front desk safes the trip! With temps at 107, I thought I was doomed because AC in room was not operating properly. With the hotel at capacity, he switched rooms and now I'm looking forward to watching my son RUN for 5 days at Cal State Jr. Olympics

I often stay at Best Western Plus hotels for their reliable and clean rooms. There isn't much more I need for a one night business stay. Unfortunately, this Best Western was by far the worst. The first room I was in had dirty sheets with hair and hard crusted pink gunk stuck to the mattress. The additional blanket was also dirty with crusted substance on it. I changed rooms and the bed spread had a cigarette burn in the cupboard and the marble dresser top had a crack straight through the middle. The elevator broke at night and I had a terrible sleep wondering if these sheets were also dirty. The staff were nice but it seemed odd that the manager or staff parked his car in the drive through in front of the hotel for the day and evening that I was there.

Used this hotel as a fixed base for a week long motorcycle ride. They held our bags while we were on the road and greeted us like family upon return. Francine at the breakfast buffet is the best. The staff genuinely cares about your stay and goes out of the way to make you comfortable.

Clean and friendly helpful staff! The bed was too hard but I have back problems so not really fair to comment :) It is in a excellent location with many food outlets and shopping only seconds away. 20 mins to the International airport.

What wonderful place. Clean. Comfy beds, microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot! Customer service was excellent. Definitely would go back! Stores and you even have walking distance to fast food restaurants. Nice clean pool. Parking was not a problem. We didn't see any children, but looks like a family hotel!

We will not stay here again. The staff is not professional, we encountered card key issues more than once, rooms were not cleaned everyday, grounds are dirty, water pressure in shower is terrible and no ice machine.

My family and I stay here for a relaxing vacation. All the staff work hard to make everyone stay great! The breakfast is always warm and fresh. They were adding flowers to the front entrance and making sure everything was kept clean. There's shopping close by which my daughters love and Not to far from Sun Splash water park. They have a pool,a little golf which is always enjoyable as well.

I have stayed at this property before, and it was a disappointment this visit. The lovely landscaping that used to greet guests has been replaced with tall weeds, trash and cigarette butts. Our room reservation request could not be honored. A rowdy group took over the pool area. Breakfast was subpar, juices were a lot of water, the waffle maker was not working correctly, the meats were low quality and not edible. The room was OK, there is a small vanity area, not large enough to hold a bathroom bag. The internet worked well in the room. The bed was comfortable and the linens were nice. The staff was helpful, probably the best part of this property at the time we visited.

Although I didn't hate my stay at the Best Western Plus Rancho Cordova, it was definitely my least favorite stay during my week long trip to California and Nevada. The first room we were given reeked of smoke as soon as we opened the door. I notified the front desk clerk about the issue, and he agreed to move us to another room. He assured me that the property was completely non-smoking. He then moved us to the room right next to the first room. The second room smelled fine inside, but we discovered it had problems as well. Our "next door neighbor" smoked right outside our door all night long. He must have smoked 2 packs throughout the evening, and the door had such a large crack in it (when closed), that a lot of the smoke drifted into the room (and was also pulled into the room by the A/C system). This same "neighbor" also played loud music until about 10 pm. Management will want to do a better job at keeping an eye on it's guests to avoid these types of situations. I was going to complain about the "neighbor," but had some concerns about retaliation. The "neighbor" was standing outside of his room for most of the evening and stared at my sister in a very creepy manner when we arrived at the hotel. He definitely knew which car we were driving as he watched us pull up to the hotel and unload our luggage. The doors and walls are so thin, that he would have heard my entire phone conversation with management had I complained. If management wants to address this issue for real, they should create designated smoking areas located in the parking lot and away from other guests rooms. This was the most smoke I'd ever experienced at a non-smoking property by far. The room itself was average. Nothing to write home about but clean enough. The A/C system had a moldy smell when the smoke from our neighbor wasn't blowing into the room. The location is convenient (right off of US 50), breakfast was solid, and the employees that I encountered were pleasant. There is ample parking.

We were greeted with a smile which can be rare these days. This was a very affordable safe place to stay outside of Sacramento. Awesome breakfast! Stores and food all over that can be walked to. Quick drives everywhere if that's your thing. There is even a grill by the pool as well as a putting green. :)

The property was very relaxing and enjoyable. The staff was phenomenal. They were very helpful, friendly and professional. The pool was amazing after a long day of driving. Would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

I needed a convenient hotel for a short stay in the Sacramento area. The Best Western Plus Rancho Cordova was a great value for the price. It is tucked behind a gas station and a restaurant. Close to HWY 50 E. There area many businesses in the area, and shopping. Not too far from Downtown Sacramento, 11 miles. I would definitely stay there again.

We reserved a room here through Booking.com via TripAdvisor. Got to the hotel around 8:30 pm only to find they had no reservation for us - and no rooms at the inn! While this was not the fault of the hotel, the clerk did nothing to try to help us. I called Booking.com and after being on hold for almost 20 mintues a nice rep apologized, and offered to find us another room nearby. Over 30 minutes later I get an email from Booking.com asking me to confirm a new reservation at another hotel. The link didn't work. I called the hotel.. They showed no record of a reservation - and they had no rooms. Fortunately, we were just a 3 hour drive from home, so we cut our trip short and drove home. The moral of the story, I suppose, is "Trust, but verify."

This best western plus is a very professional and nice hotel in my hotel experiences. Rooms are clean and nice with very clean bathrooms. Lobby is very welcoming for guests. Very low price and great value. Easy access to Yosemite and Lake Tahoe.

I can't say enough about EVERYONE .Our room was clean, our breakfast experience was wonderful . The staff overall was amazing! Staff goes above and beyond to ensure each guest is treated like royalty--especially General Manager Niara.

The staff at the front desk were very accommodating with a customer service attitude. We arrived a little early and wanted to see if we could check in. The computers were working slowly and the clerk was apologizing for this when another staff member decided he would personally go to check with housekeeping to see if there was a room available. The staff always seemed to be smiling and welcoming. Nice decor, clean lobby and dining area. The free continental breakfast was tasty and temperature of the food, perfect.

We had a 3rd floor room. Many of the rooms open directly to the parking lot (1st floor) or to an outdoor walkway over looking the parking lot. We had a deluxe room I believe it was called and it was indoors with a carpeted hallway. The room was very quiet, we didn't hear anyone in neighboring rooms or walking down the hall. The place was booked, it wasn't empty, but it seemed like they had "soundproofed" it - a super plus in my book!. The breakfast was good and was ready at 6am. They offered a "grab and go" breakfast if you couldn't wait until 6am. The bedding was clean and comfortable and overall made for a super restful weekend. I'm not sure if the rooms that open to the outdoors were as quiet so I would think it well worth it to upgrade.

The overall experience was very good. The room was in good condition and all bathroom equipment was in working order. Only one little problem was a towel hanger that fell off the wall. The breakfast was pretty good for the amount of guest that they had to serve.

When we arrived we were given a third floor room. We kindly asked if a first floor room was available (personal preference). They happily accomodated us and didn't charge additinal fees. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The breakfast area was a hit. The food choices were simply and basic. I really like the reastraunt quality sit down dining area. Our breakfast attendant (Francine), was very friendly and inviting. She went above and beyond to ensure we had enough to eat and that we wanting nothing. Thank you for making our stay such a good one!

Easy access off of the freeway. Friendly staff and customer service. My husband and I stay here once or twice a month because It is down the road from the Sacramento VA hospital where my husband receives medical care. The rooms are always clean and my favorite part is the beds are comfortable!!! If I could figure out a way to take it home with me I would try to sneak it out of here. I love a cold room to sleep in and the A/C works great. They have a clean pool, ping pong table and mini golf to keep you or the kids busy. Free wifi. The breakfast attendant Francine is a hoot!!! I enjoy getting up early to go down and enjoy breakfast with her in the mornings. Free breakfast from 6-9 am includes fresh scrambled eggs, potatoes, salsa, bacon, sausage, waffles, yogurt, bagels, toast, muffins, cereal, fresh seasonal fruit, coffee, fruit juices, and milk. Nothing fancy but always hot and yummy.

This hotel is really great. They are very nice & they welcome pets (for a small fee) They have a swimming pool that's heated to 88 degrees. Very nice stay!! We stayed there several times & have loved it.

One plus I really enjoyed was the hot breakfast and the choices.There was such variety!Every morning, the woman in charge of the breakfast,Francine, greeted me with a smile and a "Good morning." I was very pleased with how neat and well kept the area was.I was there over the weekend and it was nice being able to get great breakfast right downstairs. I would most definitely refer this hotel to friends and family.

The people at this Best Western Plus are awesome..! Naira, Nick, Armen, Hayk, just to name a few at the front desk, are part of a nice group of very friendly and helpful people. They, along with Francine who organizes breakfast, are the reasons that I continually return to this hotel every single time I am in town. I once heard the coined term: "It always comes down to people..!" I agree... And I truly appreciate their making my stays at this hotel so enjoyable. Thank you..!

We stayed at this hotel over the week end of the 15th through the 17th . Very comfortable beds room was very clean. The hotel staff is friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make your sure your happy. The thing that we liked the most was the hot breakfast . There was so much to choose from. Everything was fresh and hot. The lady Francine was very kind and spoke to all that came in for breakfast. She helped those that needed it and made waffels for people. She made our morning. Everything in the breakfast area was clean she made sure of it. We would stay here again and also tell others about our stay and the staff at this hotel. We thank you for making our stay pleasant.

The stay and staff where wonderful!!!!! especially Naira, the general manager. Rooms, grounds and lobby were clean. The front desk was very helpful and was there 24 hours a day. the breakfast was very good and I stayed at hyatt I have to say breakfast is better and soo much more choices. house keeping was great and neat. I would 100 percent would stay here again.

Hotel was at capacity but rooms were not ready close to 3:00 check in time. Several others in group had similar problems. Kitchen/breakfast staff YELLED at my teenage for spilling eggs - he did not - and would not apologize for their behavior. Wouldn't stay here again with 3 other hotels in the same location.

The other Best Western I wanted to stay at was booked, so I settled for the next closest one. This is in an Industrial Tech area, but surrounded by ghetto homes within blocks of the Hotel. At least 4-5 mile drive to get to decent restaurants. Noisy freeway US-50 next to hotel. The wife and I would never stay here again, especially now knowing the high crime rate for the Rancho Cordova area !

the hotels loaction was great for my visit in rancho cordova the hotel staff was very nice didn't have any problems checking inn the room was was excellent had everything i need also had a free wifi which helped a lot they also had a free full breakfast in the morning other then that it was a very nice stay.

i really enjoyed my time here, rooms were tidy very neat, the employees are very nice and helpful, breakfast is delicious every time, its very well maintained and always improving. my compliments go out to niara, nick, and hayk. they helped me with outstanding attitude everytime i had a question or needed something. overall would stay here again.

I stayed here for 3 nights and I don't think I've had a better experience with a hotel. Very friendly front desk, especially Nick, Hayk, and Armen. They were very welcoming and made my experience there very pleasant. Really comfortable beds, quiet and clean rooms. Nice breakfast with large variety of delicious food. Definitely will be staying here again. I rate this place 10/10.

the bed was very lumpy, crunchy and stiff--we woke up with sore backs. this particular mattress should be removed and a new mattress replaced. there were plenty of pillows for propping up in bed .parking was well lit and well laid out.

I prefer to stay at Best Western 'Plus' properties as these properties are the more 'updated' properties. Great location and it also lived up to the 'Plus' aspect. Nice breakfast area; great fitness area and there was even a 'putting green' out back!

Very nice room. Clean, quiet, comfortable. We were on the freeway side and it was nor a problem at all. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was the usual fare. Plenty of choices and the staff kept the breakfast area clean

The Business Office didn't offer any way to print Boarding passes, the ability to print documents, etc. We were told "the printer doesn't print" and no offer of, "You can print here in the office" or "We're working on it." The breakfast had a good variety of food and the area was kept very clean. I appreciated the 24/7 access to coffee/tea in the breakfast area.

This Best Western was one of the nicest we have ever stayed in. The staff was wonderfully helpful and friendly. The standard for cleanliness rivals my own OCD cleanlines. The breakfast had a wonderful variety of hot and cold food.

Great location for access of surrounding activities and businesses. Wifi was barely working at all, I ended up using the lobby computer to check email. Overall it is a pretty nice location and the full breakfast is a plus.

This is a very good to excellent hotel. It is clean, efficiently run, quiet and well appointed rooms, Good internet access, great location, good full breakfast, excellent rates. Our two nights were everything we had hoped for.

The combination of price, quality and location are unbeatable (at least I think so) the hotel is conveniently located near the free way and only about 15 minutes from Sacramento; it's near restaurant and shopping all which make it convenient during business travel. Rooms are nice and clean, everything is fairly new and I have never had an issues with cleanenles me of things in the room. It offers free continental breakfast as well. I have stayed 3 times this past year and plan of staying here again when I travel to the area.

We planned a weekend driving around Tahoe and Gold country and used this as our landing pad. We travelled with a 14 lb terrier. The good- ample parking, easy check-in, breakfast included, generally clean rooms and comfy beds. We were close to the freeway, but I was not bothered by fwy noise. Doggie area in the back with bags and poop disposal. Room had a small fridge, coffeemaker, and microwave. Not-so-good: Breakfast was a madhouse on Sunday at 9AM. My hubby went earlier at 7 and said it was quieter then. Breakfast had sausage, potatoes, scrambled eggs. There were two nifty waffle makers. At 9, the dining area was full of kids and one of the parents was at the waffle maker for almost half an hour (!). The carpet was not very clean and the lampshade had dark spots (hard to tell what they were ). Walls are thin, so while I did not hear freeway traffic, I heard dance music from next door. Verdict: would stay again if just overnight

This place is clean and quite with many good restaurants nearby and right off the highway. The room was not very spacious and a little tight for more than 2 people, though. The other services were good, too ad\\nd every ]one was nice. The ice machine was easy to use for my day cooler, too. The room was clean and the maid service was good enough to make me come back again. The room had a small microwave to cook stuff and a small refrigerator to keep stuff cool but had no freezer. The breakfast was great with scrambled eggs, 2 types of sausages and yogurt. Cut melons with pineapple in them and apples and bananas were the fruits they provided. With instant oatmeal and plenty of different types of carbs to fill you up and lot of coffee and a different fruit drinks were also available. On Sunday there was biscuits and gravy added to the menu which was a great added feature to start your day.

at 9pm I had to overnight and drew this location off the internet, normally don't use Best Western but was pleasantly surprised when I checked in. Location was clean and well kept, room was similar to HIE.

This was a short quick overnight stay as we were commuting from the Va Hospital on Mather Way. The hotel was just a short ways from the hospital and it worked out very nicely. The Rooms very clean and updated. This hotel was recommended by the hospital.

I had to stay at this BW due to my first choice not having a room available for the entire 3 nights I needed. The property is close to the freeway and I heard road noise in my room. The bed comfort was fair. The breakfast was disappointing. mostly carbohydrates. Little fruit.

This review is extremely hard for me to rate. I reserved a exterior room for 3 nights when we arrived at the hotel I was told we would be upgraded to an interior room since there was no exterior rooms available however this meant we would be on the 3rd floor. I asked to please have a room as close to the elevator as possible. When my family headed up the elevator to the 3rd floor once it stopped the doors did not open for about 3 minutes even if you pressed the door open button. I brushed it off assuming it was an old elevator. As we traveled down the hall looking for our room number I found out it was almost at the opposite end of the hall from the elevator. I was not very pleased with this however it was late and we were tired. I did try using the wifi and it did not work at all for us. In the morning when I stepped into the hall from the hotel room I froze! Really? Why is inside as cold as outside in the hotel hallway? I had to grab my jacket before heading down. I took the elevator (once it showed up) down to the breakfast. This part of our hotel stay was wonderful the kitchen lady was very friendly and polite and was very attentive to keeping things clean and stocked. The breakfast available was scrambled eggs, sausage patties, country potatoes, biscuits and gravy, waffles in two sizes, cereal, english muffins, bagels, fruit, etc. The orange juice did taste a little watered down but was otherwise okay. I took the elevator back up to my hotel room and again I had to wait at least 3 minutes for the doors to open. I began to explore the bathroom for the soaps and shampoos to take a morning shower. The conditioner container had some type of strawberry scented goo on the side that was pink and all soaps and lotions were white? I decided against using the conditioner just to be on the safe side. As we were getting ready to head out we found flip flops that did not belong to us just underneath our bed (I guess when they clean they don't check under there?). The elevator continued to give us problems through-out the day not opening anywhere from three to five minutes before the doors would open and taking a very long time to show up at the 3rd floor at all. The next morning again the hallway was freezing and I went downstairs to grab breakfast for my family. Breakfast was again wonderful with scramble eggs, sausage links, biscuits and gravy, waffles, bagels, cereal, etc. As I was heading to the elevator they were closing it down saying people were getting stuck for a few minutes. I mentioned that that was happening to us our whole stay and that I required the elevator for my physically and mentally challenged daughter to get down. The reception lady at the time told me I could still continue to use it with the understanding it might take awhile to open. My family ate breakfast in our room and started getting ready to head out for our plans for the day. We walked down the hallway to the elevator and pressed the button and waited a little while after a maintenance guy turns the corner and very rudely says it is out of order. I explained to him that the morning lady said that we could still use it. He said there was nothing he could do and that we could not use it. My daughter told him she is too scared to use the stairs and he very sarcastically responded “well I'm sorry your scared of the stairs”. My family went back to our room and I went down the stairs to the lobby very distrait as this was making us late for our plans. I asked when the elevator would be fixed and the gentleman at the counter called someone and then I was told they did not know how long it would be till it got fixed. I explained that I needed the elevator to be working if we were to continue to stay on the 3rd floor as I would need to carry my daughter down three flights of stairs just to let us leave for the day. They did not say anything other then they did not know when it would be fixed. I had no choice but to check out early which left us in a bind as it was the day before New Years Eve and all hotels were pretty booked. After we checked out I tried finding another available hotel with a working elevator or a first floor room available. Any that had availability were extremely out of our price range. I tried calling Best Western customer service hoping they could help me as it was not our fault we had to leave the hotel with that rate and they told us all Best Westerns are individually owned and operated so he could not do anything. When I then was transferred to make a complaint the lady was trying to help me find a hotel that could accommodate us but all were out of our price range. They completely ruined the entire day of this vacation as I had to spend it trying to find another hotel. We ended up not being able to find one at all and had to crash on the living room floor of a relatives that lived somewhat in the area of our vacation. It seems like a nice enough hotel just the rooms need to be checked over a bit better when cleaned and the hallway could be warmer for it being indoors and if the elevator breaks they should find a way to accommodate guests with disabilities when/if something goes wrong like this. They seemed just fine losing our business and checking us out a day early.

My wife and I stayed at the Rancho Cordova Inn on New Years Eve. It was nice to be so close to all the restaurants( we chose Outback Steakhouse) check in and check out were fine, the room was tiny and they did not have half and half or Splenda for morning coffee.

The good news is the bathroom was recently remodeled and it had a nice large flatscreen TV. the bed was okay. Breakfast was serviceable. check in was painful as there were multiple issues with the computers but we finally got it all straightened out. i would stay here again for a short stay. it did have a heated pooI but i did not try it out

I was disappointed with the room I was given. As soon as I got to the room I opened the curtains and there was the freeway. Fortunately I had ear plugs. They have a desk by the TV but the only outlet is behind the desk,you have to crawl under the desk to plug anything in.The carpet under the desk was sticky so I had to keep my shoes on. This stay was not the best time to relocate to another property.

Kristinas Hospitality has been Fantastic and she even offered me extra pillows I have been blessed with a enjoyable stay and a quality nights rest thanks to her great breakfast she offered me :} MMMMMM!!!!!!!!! as well as great customer service!!!!

This hotel was fabulous for my stay while competing at the Murieta Equestrian Center. Easy drive to the event location, coffee stop along the way, hot oatmeal before leaving the hotel, quiet rooms, huge televisions. Staff was friendly, helpful, outgoing. Loved it, will stay again for sure.

clean, well appointed room, comfortable bed, staff not very with it, but in fairness I was checking in a 5AM. Only one problem, the clerk couldn't find my account in the rewards system, I didn't have my card, but they should be able to pull it up, this happens at every BW I stay in, not just this one. They need better system in the rewards accounts.

This was the last hotel we stayed in on our trip around California in November. We were greeted warmly by the staff at the counter. When we needed a second set of blankets for a cot we brought, they brought them very quickly. The breakfast was tasty and the breakfast crew was very nice...gave my daughter a sticker and thanked us for our stay.

Room too small for 2 people. No room for personal items in bathroom. Very limited room for luggage. Front desk man who took reservation was caustic. Aggressive flies throughout the bedroom and bathroom. Outstanding breakfast. Will not stay here again. Usually stay at Best Western Plus, however, this place did not meet their standards.

Hotel was conveniently located for us. Having a full breakfast available daily is very nice and also convenient. Rooms were simple, yet had all the amenities needed. Fridge, microwave and coffee maker were appreciated as well. Would definitely stay here again if ever back in the area.

Francine, our breakfast attendent, was incredibly attentive and made every effort to accommodate all the arriving guests for their morning breakfast. All the hot food items are constantly filled and the counters were meticulously cleaned and cleared to ensure that all arriving guests had a pleasant experience for their first meal of the day. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

This was s nice hotel with lovely staff. They arranged for us to park for free at a sister hotel in old town Sacramento. Room were clean, bed was comfy, good Mexican close by. Breakfast ordinary but staff were lovely.

Loved this place. Very friendly staff and clean cafeteria..... O! we did a mini golf in the hotel facility. It is right next to swimming pool. They also had a ping pong table. My kids played. It was super cool for them as we didn't expect things like that. The water was cold so kids couldn't swimming, but my 4 yr and 9yr old boys did enjoy the stay there.... Very nice for family trip. Love to visit there again.... even close to Korean restaurants.... Ummm... love love this place!!!

Good breakfast attendants and some front desk help. Telling us to stand on a chair to remove a dead smoke alarm battery was over the top. Then replacing the dead battery with another dead battery??? $1.50 per night tourism travel fee. What's that all ab out. An elevator that rattles like a carnival ride is quite exciting also.

I picked this hotel because it was about half way between the places I needed to go in this area. The price was very reasonable. It is located next to a freeway so expect some noise. The breakfast could be better. The internet was a little slow in the room but it is free. Overall I would recommend it to those looking for a good bargain.

Very comfortable rooms ,excellent service and very clean hotel. Customer service really means something here and we really recommend this hotel. . Nice breakfast and staff were all very polite and made us feel more than welcome.

We have stayed at this Best Western several times, and will return when we have business in Sacramento area. I would recommend this Hotel to friends and family as it is a relaxing place to stay, and it has a good complimentry breakfast

Had to take the roll away bed on my own through the parking lot and set it up. Agreed to take a smaller room to help for the other customers. Was charged twice and still not refunded nor given discount rate for room degrade. Tried over 4 days with so far 3 different people to no avail. Have already stayed the past year at same hotel over 4 times. Will no longer be staying , nor bringing the group of others that have stayed.

Place is fair enough and cheaper than the competitors: I would go back. Problem is: do not get a room facing the highway. As usual, with coil fans the heating/cooling is noisy: old style hotel, very popular in USA hotels. Breakfast is included but usual unhealthy choices unless you eat just fruit. Coffe: if you like american...

The hotel wasn't full but our room backed up to a busy freeway. I guess this is what we get for checking in at 3pm. All you heard was road traffic At first glance the bathroom was nice but that changed once you started to use the facilities. The sink drained very slow. The shower/tub had mold at the edges and in the grout lines. The water mixer in the shower/tub was faulty. When you sat on the side of the bed, it was broken and you dipped. The mattress was ok to sleep on if you stayed away from the edge. The breakfast was good and hot.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel while visiting family in the area. The hotel was difficult to find as they are not visible from the street. Once we found the hotel, the staff was very friendly. The breakfast in the morning was nice but the attendant(Francine) was very friendly. She went way above normal to keep the eating area clean and stocked. The room was very small and not quite what the pictures portray. The pool was too cold to use.

The hotel was nice and clean. The breakfast was what you would expect from the Best Western Plus. Waffles , powdered eggs, cereal and other quick breakfast items. I would have given the hotel 5 stars. However we didn't receive room service the second day we were there. The other thing that really bothered me more so than the room service. Was the fact that there was a man smoking a cigar right in front of the hotel. At first I thought this person was someone staying there. After coming and going several times I could see clearly this is either an owner or someone that works for the hotel. I believe he's Middle Eastern and doesn't understand the culture of America. To make it clear its simply rude to smoke when others have to walk by you to get into a hotel. My poor wife and three year old son had to endure the horrible cigar smoke several times. He seemed to know what he was doing was not good. Because every time someone walked by he would stop smoking the cigar. The cigar smoke bellowed across the walkway and into the lobby. Only a complete idiot would do that with women and children and people who don't smoke staying in the hotel. And only very stupid office staff and personnel would allow it. So obviously either this guy is a manager and owner or the office staff just suck and have no common sense or common courtesy. Either way they both suck and they won't be getting a 5-star review from me. I also bleezies pride breaking several laws in California. I would think Best Western corporate would want to know about this as it does not set a good example for the hotel. I will say again because I'm sure he will get the message you're rude, rude ,rude person.

They didn't clean my room for two days. The first night I got over 1 dozen bug bites while I slept. When I complained they told me it was my fault it wasn't cleaned. They wouldn't even discuss the bug bites. When my boss called on the third day to make sure it was cleaned they told her my do not disturb was on the door so they didn't have to clean the room. The manager even offered to take a picture of it to prove that I was lying to my boss about it not being up. No apology was given when she went to my room and there was no do not disturb on the room. The manager was rude and repeatedly called me a lair. They didn't clean my room for two days and no fresh towels were offered. They could care less about the bug bites. Don't stay here unless you can take abuse.

this hotel has the best staff on board,they made our stay very comfortable. the rooms were clean and the view of the city was great. the neighborhood felt safe. the hotel rates were good. breakfast served every morning and coffee available 24 hours. the pool was clean.

I stayed here in a business trip. Tho hotel is convenient to many local companies. It was reasonably priced, clean, and included a great breakfast, managed by Francine, who was friendly and attentive to the dining area

We stayed here as part of a family bike tour - my husband, young son and I. There was a lot we liked about the hotel. Cookies at the check-in (and they were GOOD when you've been cycling all day), a nicely done-up room, a lovely little outdoor seating place on the 3rd floor, a putting green, what looked like a good fitness centre. The pool looked fine, but it was too chilly to test out. Best of all was the excellent free breakfast in the morning - great hot and cold options, really grateful for that! Thank you. One thing bothered us a little. Our room had a broken door - the lever that makes the door close slowly was broken and our door needed a bit of a shove to open. Nothing awful but it concerned me in case of a fire. We told front desk and they didn't seem verily concerned. Also, the mexican restaurant Casa Ramos in front looks a bit dodgy but it's GREAT!!!!

This hotel was clean, quiet and at a good location. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were attending a Gourd Festival in the area and this was a convenient place to stay. We will stay here again and highly recommend this motel.

Returned late from a wedding to find our room only partially cleaned - one less towel then we needed, and one of the two queen beds only partially made. Reported it to the front desk when I went to request another towel, and the clerk asked another staff member whether beds were supposed to be made every day... Enough said.

The front desk did not honor my lower reservation rate when I checked in claiming that they were full and the AARP rate was the best they could do. The complementary toiletries they provided were some of the cheapest I have ever encountered at any hotel at any price. The drawers in the dresser/desk were all loose, il-fitting and if you pulled them out too far they would jam (not go back in).

The biggest issue we had was our favorite channels on TV weren't operational although they were listed on the line-up. This location is convenient for our stays in the area, but we may change hotels if they don't get the problem corrected.
