    « nice place »

I've stayed here twice and would again if staying in the Boston area. The staff was generally great and the airport shuttle was convenient. Rooms were a decent size and the place is close to public transportation. I'd recommend it.

« OK but nothing fancy »

Dated interior, but clean. Over priced for its offering, but lower priced than others in the area. Access to the location is strange due to the road network, which is typical of Boston and the area. This hotel is just acceptable. Other than that not much else worth mentioning.

« Great value for money and a pleasant stay »

Great place. This is situated around 20 minutes from the airport. I visited Boston late October, and the hotels were unreasonably expensive. This hotel was offering a decent rate and looking at its photos and location, I made the booking for 3 nights. The hotel offered a complimentary airport shuttle but you have to call the front desk once you step out of the immigration and it will take around 20 minutes for the vehicle to arrive. I had made the right decision. The property was extremely clean, the room was very big with basic amenities and the staff were friendly. There was a Pub and restaurant inside, but not many vegetarian options. Just the Greek salad but it was delicious. The breakfast was complimentary and it was ample - bread, muffins, fruits, yoghurt, juices, corn flakes, etc. The hotel is just a 10 minute brisk walk from the North Quincy T station for the Red Line which will take you to downtown Boston in 35 minutes. No need to spend on a cab and it is a pleasant quiet walk. There are a few restaurants nearby. I could not enjoy the river view nor use the pool as I didn't get much time, but the hotel looks very beautiful and serene. The wifi strength was a bit fluctuating and it was not that fast. The hotel's last airport drop is at 4 pm, but they were kind enough to offer me a complimentary drop at 8 pm. I had a great time at this place and this will be my first choice if I visit Boston again. A great value for money.

    « Such poor service »

We have stayed here before for park and stay; however we have noticed that the service each time has gotten worse. A breakfast is included in the price, however, we fly out early so never can use it ; used to have a $10 voucher towards dinner instead, that is no longer offered. This last time was such poor service on many levels that we will not go back. First, I booked directly with them, and noticed prior to our stay a less expensive pricing online. When I called to see if they would match the price advertised online, their reply was "no, I had missed the change time for the reservation" (by 35 minutes..). I had asked to make our shuttle reservation when I booked, but was told it was being made upon arrival now-- incorrect information! Upon arriving at the hotel we were told the shuttle time we needed was full; we had to take the hour earlier shuttle (3am). We left a wake up call for the (very) early shuttle we took to the airport, but never got it. I.m glad I set a back up alarm on my phone! I had attempted to discuss problems with management who apologized, but replied "we are the least expensive park & fly option"... I feel if you stay here you are getting what you pay for --- with so many other much better, slightly more expensive, but MUCH better service options why would anyone put up with such POOR customer service? Also-- forget trying to FIND this place day or night-- it is very difficult if you don.t know the area and the one sign they have is so small (dinner plate size) that it is of no help....

    « Pleasant stay »

I stayed at the Adams Inn for one night and had a very enjoyable stay. The room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable and the staff was professional, pleasant, and knowledgable. The Pub food lunch was tasty and plentiful. Access to downtown Boston is easy via the T to North Quincy, then a short taxi ride to the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

    « Very disappointing »

4 night stay. Staff were rude, unhelpful and inefficient. Breakfast area is small and guests were not permitted to use overflow area into bar at busy times, so had to stand and wait for tables to be freed up. Crazy. Front desk staff were rude and abrupt almost all the time. Dining room staff were fine. Bad fried food odour hung over lobby area at all times. Mouse spotted running from kitchen on final day. T Station is walkable which was the only redeeming factor. Just terrible.

« One night, nice room, disappointing restaurant »

We stayed at this place for one night and then left our car there for the week while we when on a cruise out of Boston. The inn is clean and well maintained. The rooms were quiet. Nice hotel. A bit pricey but with the week of parking the car, it is a fair price. The breakfast buffet was a mad house. It probably would have been quieter and not as crowded had there not been a college rowing team staying there that morning. The parking was ample and well lit. It seemed secure and the car was fine when we returned from the cruise. The hotel provided a shuttle to and from the cruise. MAKE A RESERVATION FOR THE SHUTTLE WHEN YOU BOOK YOUR STAY! It says that on the website and in the hotel. There seems to be no room for you to just hop on. If you have reservations to be dropped at the airport or cruise port, it all seems to go smoothly. There are a few reviews whining about not being to get on the shuttle, by people who did not make reservations. Tough luck. Follow the instructions. We were dropped off at the ship at the appointed time and picked up on our return promptly (within 30 minutes of calling for the pickup). The restaurant. The service was not very good. The server was slow in taking our order. The salad came after the main course had arrived, only because I reminded him about it. The steak orders were messed up. The servers seemed to be busy socializing rather than taking care of customers. It was a very unpleasant atmosphere. If I return to this hotel, and I do recommend it, go up the street to Domino's or the Chinese restaurant (although, I cannot vouch for them). Don't bother with the Adam's Inn Pub. The staff, outside of the restaurant, was pleasant and efficient. Overall, a good experience, just find a better place for dinner.

« Good price and good location »

We were a little worried about taking a hotel so far out from central Boston but it clearly came with benefits. Firstly a better price and secondly a complementary shuttle to the airport at the end of our visit. The subway links are good if you are prepared for a 1 m walk as we were.

    4
« Wonderful bed, large room »

Nice staff, comfortable room. Nice breakfast, great lounge. A little $$ more than I had expected. I thought it was less when I booked it. The hotel sits on the water and there is a nice jogging/walking path around the water and grounds. Very quiet. Did not hear vehicle noises and the view from my room overlooked the river and was quite nice.

    5
« Great location ~ Close to Boston and to the Airport »

The hotel was a good value near the Boston area, within walking distance to the Red Line to the city. The rooms are good-sized, the beds are comfortable, and the staff is helpful. The pub is great for dinner,

    « Best Western-Adams Inn »

Accommodations were very nice. Suggested they effect some much needed repairs to their parking area. Breakfast was excellent. Price of the room was a bit much, especially since I supposedly was receiving a AAA discount.

    4
« Good value and views and easy access to South Boston and i93 »

Cost was the main factor here, just outside Boston but with shuttle bus to town and airport so close enough and a lot cheaper for a group. Great views on the waterfront and really easy to find day or night. Boston a simple i 93 drive and Cape Cod an easy cruise the other way .

    4
« Beautiful room in greater Boston »

We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed it. One caveat is that you can see the sign well from the highweay, but it was difficult to identify the hotel from the parking lot. The front desk person we dealt with upon arrival was very unwelcoming. We had supper in the pub on site and it was a good meal, and convenient on a rainy night. Our room was lovely and had high ceilings. Breakfast was very good, and the staff was very nice. We were able to connect with a "Boston in one day" tour and get picked up at the hotel, which was very nice.

    5
« Good location for airport & city access »

We are regular Best Western customers, but this hotel appealed to us anyway. On river and nice, reasonably priced restaurant on premises. Shuttle to airport and relatively short walk to N. Quincy subway line so commute into city was easy. Provided a snack breakfast for our flight out before regular breakfast hours and also stored our luggage for an extended time so we could hike with friends. Would stay here again when flying into/out of Boston. Only regret was that no microwave in room, although one available in lobby. Did not use any fitness amenities.

    4
« Good choice as base for Boston »

good value for money (for boston): comfortable room, good breakfast, about 10 min walk to North Quincy red line with access to Boston points of interest. They have an Adams pub. We had dinner there. Good, not fancy food and reasonable pricing.

    4
    « Nice spot...easy location »

The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from the hotel which is about a 25 min ride. The driver we had was very helpful by stopping on the way to the hotel to get snacks and drinks after a long day of travel. The hotel was clean and the room spacious. We even had room for a cott and still room to move around in the room. The breakfast that's offered as part of your stay was hot and fresh...it got you off to a good start. The T-Line was a 10 minutes walk from the hotel...not a bad walk either. Can't really go wrong at this spot.

« Stayed here last year and wouldn't consider any other place! »

We had such an enjoyable stay at our "Boston Trip Headquarters" we decided to return. Why? A free airport shuttle, a very good daily breakfast buffet and a short walk to the MBTA subway. The rooms are comfortable and an onsite Pub is a great place to relax after a day of exploring Boston. On a personal note while checking out we missed the 10:00 a.m. shuttle to the airport by 3 minutes. The front desk clerk said "the next shuttle is at noon, but let me try to get him to come back and get you" The clerk radioed the van and the driver did come back and picked us up! That's service!

    3
« Nice to have a cruise package which includes a shuttle to the port. »

Was on the first floor as requested by the last on down a very long hall and difficult for someone with a cane. Rooms are clean, staff friendly and cruise package was good but too long a wait for shuttle upon return. Traffic in Boston is nuts.

    « One-night stay in Quincy »

Everything was terrific about this hotel except the location. Arriving at night with a GPS that gave directions too late to be useful was very difficult. I had to try several times to find the hotel; perhaps it would have been easier if I had arrived during daylight!

« Family and Friends Weekend Perfect »

It was our second time in two months staying at this BW property. It is located 10 minutes outside of Cambridge and was a relative good by in comparison to the hotels in the city. Perfect location on the river; adorable and tasty pub restaurant on premises. Staff could not possibly be friendlier or more helpful. The T line is a short walk from the hotel and parking at the hotel is free!

« Clean rooms, courtesous staff, but noisy rooms »

We like the location of this hotel and it is less expensive than the Quincy Marriot. The room was very clean and the staff was sincerely pleasant. However, the walls between the rooms must be poorly soundproofed because we were able to hear the conversation in the adjacent room so clearly that it seemed they were in our room. This was not a loud discussion but two people talking. We will reconsider future stays here because of this.

    4
    « Delightful Experience »

The hotel exterior is very attractive and different. Their bar/cafe outside seating is the greatest. We had a 1st floor room facing the tidal river and it looked like we were on a boat. The water level changes with the tide. The airport shuttle driver was great, more knowledgeable and fun than the tour guide we had later. The Ruben sandwich at the cafe was very delicious. It was made with pastrami instead of corned beef and had two types of cheese with Russian dressing. The female bartender made the best White Russians we've had in a long time. The only complaint was they were out of pizza dough all three nights we stayed. Our only complaint about the hotel would be no hot water or enough pressure in our shower.

    5
« Excellent place to stay for visit to Boston »

Excellent amenities. Ask for a room that faces the river. Pick up and delivery back to airport. Easy walk to the subway (T) to get into Boston. Great staff, room and restaurant with free hot breakfast.

« A visit to see my son and his wife »

We stayed here because we always have good luck with Best Western hotels. When we went to check in the two women behind the counter were chatting with friends and barely looked up. The lobby and restaurant were attractive, and the breakfast was very good. There was a commotion in the hall at 2 a.m. on the last night we were there which was very disruptive. The manager came up and quieted them down. It was a little hard to find the hotel but it was near the river.

    5
    « Like Home »

The staff at this hotel is one of the best we've experienced. What few things we had forgotten were furnished. The breakfast isn't just donuts and carbs. The restaurant staff opened an extra room so that our group could eat dinner together. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

    4
    « Decent Hotel »

A good place to stay a bit far from airport but was usual good Best Western quality except they were too busy at front counter and ran out of breakfast food, so we had to wait for a restock. We came in late and they were very accomodating to us.

    4
    « Clean and Close »

This hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the T. The Hotel provides free parking for guests. Convenient ride into the city, short and easy. The room was clean and the complimentary breakfast was okay. Beautiful views and in nice weather there are places to sit and enjoy the outdoors. My only complaint was no one attempted to get the people in our hall who were very noisy for most of the night to be quiet. We are not talking occasional bumps or loud voices; but, loud talking, slamming doors for hours. The first night was quiet; but, the second night was not. It should be the hotels responsibility to deal with outrageous guests. There was a refrigerator in the room, which was nice; but the ad for the hotel said it had to be requested so we did not bring the things we might have if we had known in advance.

« Almost in Boston but you save a bundle »

Great location The mbta a short distance away. A few stops from down town Boston. Close to Wollaston Beach Enjoy hot dogs fried clams new England clam chowder or an ice cream after a day @ ,the beach.. Marina Bay which is close by offers restraurant choices spectacular views of Boston and moderate prices. Weather permitting dine. under the stars The hotel restaurant has good food as well. The Continental Breakfast is really good and is complimentary. Enjoy a cocktail or morning coffee on the outside deck overlooking the river. Rooms are quite nice and very clean. The staff is very professional. The shuttle drivers are great. One of my class reunions was held here. They did a fabulous job. We were there for an entire weekend. There was a cookout on Friday night. Dining and Dancing Saturday evening. Everyone had a great time. I have stayed here many times through the years and with several people and many reasons. Even a difficult Aunt who loves to find fault said very little.

    « Nice Hotel »

Nice hotel, in the suburbs, we were attending a family wedding in Dorchester so this was convenient. Staff friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and restocked. Coffee/tea and water was available, free, all day. The food in the Bar/restaurant was excellent and the staff excellent. Our only concern was the price for our three night stay bearing in mind how far out of Boston we were. Rooms clean but average.

    4
    « Shuttle to Airport »

I chose this hotel because it was more reasonably priced than other hotels fairly close to the airport. Although there was a long wait for the shuttle at the airport, we were not in a huge hurry (and there was a LOT of traffic). The morning ride to the airport took only 20 minutes.

  • 5
« Our room was very comfortable and overlooks the water. Staff friendly and helpful. We would recommend this hotel. »

The breakfast was good and restocked as needed. The staff booked a tour of Boston for us on the Beantown Trolley. It was a great way to see Boston without worrying about traffic, directions, or parking.

    4
    « Nice Hotel »

This was a very noice hotel. We stay as it was in close proximity of the function hall (Florian Hall) for our daughter's wedding. Room clean, free breakfast and coffee in the morning was excellent. All staffers nice and helpful.

« Great alternative to high-priced Boston hotels »

The hotel shuttle met us at Logan airport and delivered us efficiently to the hotel in Quincy. Our room was clean and comfortable and there was plenty of room for three of us with two queen beds and one cot. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was fine - waffles, English muffins, fresh fruit, cereal, instant oatmeal, coffee, tea and juice. The nearest subway stop was a 15 minute walk away - not bad during the day but a little far and dark at night. Panera Bread was across from the subway - very handy. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed the easy access to Boston.

« High hotel prices in Boston in September had us doing some exploring of options and found this little gem... »

Wow is Boston expensive in the fall and with the strong US Dollar and we are Canadians, ouch!!! Ranging from $350.00 to $900.00 a night in Boston we explored other options. We used our Save On Rewards points and managed $260.00 Canadian at this rare little gem! Free Shuttle bus to and from airport and cruise ship. Trolley pick up daily into town and return. 15 minute walk to Red Line Subway Station/ North Quincy. Takes about 40 minutes into Boston and costs about $12.00 for the day. If you drive you can park for free with stay! Helpful staff! Amazing bar/lounge. Seating outside and great food! Try the specials for the week!!! Yum. Free breakfast that includes great coffee, selection of breads/bagels and muffins. Cereal, French Toast, make your own Waffle, scrambled eggs and sausage! Clean rooms and QUIET from 10:00 pm. We are returning at the end of our cruise and are looking forward to going back! Thanks Helen!

« Comfortable and homely hotel. »

My wife, 11-year-old daughter, and I stayed at the Best Western Adams Inn Quincy-Boston for two nights in September 2016, while attending our cousin's wedding in nearby Dorchester. The Adams Inn was ideal for our needs. We ate in the Adams Pub on our first night. The food was good, but the setting outdoors, as dusk fell - looking out at the US flag and the gazebo on the River Neponset - was magical. Our bedroom was spacious and comfortable, with two double beds and a television with a good range of channels. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided in the room. The bathroom was fine, if past its absolute best. The hotel's buffet breakfast was included in our room rate. There was a good choice of pancakes, cereals, pastries, juices and teas and coffees available. Each member of staff in the hotel is efficient. Most of them are very friendly and helpful. On checking out, we availed of the hotel's free shuttle service to Boston Logan Airport. Our driver was very nice, so this ended our visit to the Adams Inn on a high note. The hotel is located on the edge of the Quincy Riverwalk, which is pleasant for a stroll. It is a 20-30 minute walk to downtown Quincy, which offers all the usual services. There is a Dunkin' Donuts less than ten minutes' walk from the Adams Inn. All in all, a very good choice for visiting Quincy or Dorchester. I would certainly stay there again.

    3
« Good alternative to downtown Boston »

Navigating the roads to the Adams Inn is tricky enough and once in the parking lot the front door is not clearly marked, but when we made it inside we received a pleasant reception. From there we had to walk down a long, rather dark hallway to our room. The room was clean and all the furnishings in good shape. We had a river-view room, which was pleasant. The bed was comfortable and all the linens were clean and fresh. The room had a coffee maker and a refrigerator. The room was quiet except the air conditioner was a little annoying, but it kept the temperature at the desired set point. The bathroom was small, with no place to put our toiletries. It was clean. The shower control was tricky to use. A ten to fifteen minute walk takes you to the North Quincy MBTA station, so getting into downtown Boston was not difficult. Indeed, compared to paying the high prices for a downtown Boston hotel plus sky-high parking fees there, the Adams Inn is a good alternative. The attached restaurant provided good food at very reasonable prices.

    « Great hotel »

This hotel is great to stay at when you have to travel for vacation. You get a ride to airport and they pick you up when you come back. Also you can leave your car there. Very clean and great food in restaurant and free breakfast! Staff are very helpful! I feel that I start my vacation a day early when I go there.

    4
    « Good Hotel »

The hotel was clean and staff was friendly and professional. Free WiFi. Great view from the Adam Pubs patio. The great thing during the stay here is a wonderful continental breakfast and the pick up/drop off services after a day of touring were excellent. Would recommend this hotel for a quick stay.

    4
    « Short but sweet »

Even though I stayed for one night, I did a lot of traveling in 24 hours. I liked the location of this hotel making it easy for me to get everything accomplished. The atmosphere outside the hotel was very relaxing as it has a long pier and gazebo that is used for wedding receptions. I would recommend this location for its convenience especially if you plan a day trip to the Cape.

    3
« Not As Nice As It Used To Be »

My husband and I stayed in this hotel several years ago and loved it, but this stay was not quite as enjoyable. The room was okay, quest services were still good but the restaurant was not as nice as it was before. The food was not as good, more expensive and the atmosphere seemed noisy and crowded. They do offer free shuttle pick-up from the airport and a free ride to the cruiseport if you park your car there. On the whole, it is still a nice place to stay at a pretty good price.

  • 4
    « park & cruise »

Stayed a night & was able to park car & get shuttle to Boston Seaport for cruise. Very convienient. The hotel needs to have a sign on the building we originally pulled into an apartment complex next door. The hotel is clean & the help friendly. The pub was great. Had a fish sandwich for lunch & chicken parm sandwich for supper. Nice atmosphere. Nice deck to sit out on & watch the activity on the water. Only bad thing was the size of our room. The interior cruise room was bigger. Big wall with 2 SMALL windows on the side. Would never be able to fit out of if we had to exit that way during a fire.

    2
« Basic hotel, good location, dated and dirty »

Stayed here for two nights to attend an event at the closely located Boston Winery. The best things which can be said about this hotel was its location near Boston and the views of the Neponset river. The bar is fine. The fitness center has 3-4 machines; the one treadmill was broken, 3 mats and a small set of dumbells going to 25 lbs. there was a large accumulation of dust under the cabinets in the room indicating only a cursory attempt at cleaning. Carpet is worn throughout the hotel and it seems like it is in need of a serious upgrade. The staff seemed a bit gruff from reservation to check-in but everything was handled efficiently. I don't give out my cell phone number and they tried to tell me it was a requirement... If I had to stay again in the area, I'd try another location. Beds were very basic quality.

    4
    « Beautiful Setting »

We only stayed 1 night for a wedding. Location is beautiful overlooking the Marina Bay. Very clean, very friendly. Room was very nice, beds comfortable, No noise issues at bed time. Check in and check out was very quick and easy. Continental breakfast was ok. Not a lot of fresh fruit but a lot of choices otherwise. I would recommend staying there.

« Good but not more »

We booked a king bed room. The room was a bit small with all the furniture in it. We had a not so attractive view onto the car park. The breakfast was ok like in every other chain hotel with a lot of plastic cutlery and plastic plates and so on.

    3
    « Good value »

We stayed four nights primarily for visiting museums etc. in Boston. The room was on the top floor for the view of the river, such as it is. The river is a tidal river when at low tide was a stream down the center of a muddy river bed. Otherwise, it was very nice. The room was clean and the breakfast OK by BW standards. Parking was fine since we used the car to go into the city and always found a 'handicap" spot on our return. Signage needs to be better for entrance since the convergence of roads tends to confuse the GPS system. All in all, we would consider coming back.

    4
« our dream trip to Boston »

This is a nice clean, comfortable hotel. The rooms have been updated but you can still tell they are old. We are a senior couple and walked to the subway in 10 min with no problem. If we come back to this part of the country again we will definitely stay here.

    4
    « Best Western »

This hotel was pretty good, but there is a long walk to the train station to get to the city, and no shuttle to train. YOu will have to take a taxi on bad weather or if you are not able to walk. It is about a fifteen minute walk, and that was walking fast in my case.

    4
    « 4 night stay »

I stay in this hotel for business in Boston each year. It has been nicely upgraded since last year. Rooms are brighter. Self serve breakfast area has very good selection of hot and cold foods. Convenient to Boston without paying the Boston hotel prices.

« Airport shuttle is deceptive! »

Arrived at the airport expecting a shuttle service as per Hilton etc. Not with this hotel. You have to call them to request it and it took 45 minutes to arrive! We got there about 10.30pm and the bar was closed, which after about 12 hours travel is a real drag. In the morning the shuttle operates every two hours which is virtually guaranteed to men a wait. This hotel also needs an uplift. It's looking a bit faded. Overall recommend staying nearer airport to get a proper shuttle service and bar that is open later!

    « Disappointing #126 »

We stayed at BW Adams Inn on previous occasions and liked it. Hence the return visit. The hot breakfast is now just ok. The airport shuttle is a good service for those who want to get to the airport. Be warned the last pick up is 4pm. Room 126 is sold as a small double room and it is true to its description ie small. 126 is close to housekeeping services and noise from the washing machines. The plumbing leaves a lot to the imagination. For this reason we would not return to Adams Inn. Its diappointing as the Inn is set on the Neoponset River which has a walking/cycling greenway!

« Nice hotel with lovely riverside setting. »

My wife, 11-year-old daughter, and I stayed in the Best Western Adams Inn for two nights. It was ideal for our purposes. It is around 30 minutes walk from Quincy and a similar driving distance from Downtown Boston, as well as Logan Airport (depending on traffic, of course). We got a taxi from Boston on the first night - it cost $22. We used the hotel's shuttle bus service to bring us to the airport at the end of our stay. We found this service very useful and our driver was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is a very nice place to eat. If the evening is fine, it is lovely to sit, eat and look out at the hotel's gazebo jutting out into the Neponset River. I would stay in this hotel again if I needed to stay in the Quincy or Dorchester areas.

I chose this motel because it was easy to get to and it provided a free shuttle to and from the airport as well as allowing me to leave my car. Room was satisfactory, nothing special. Shuttle to airport at 5am went off without a hitch, however, on our return I called for the shuttle and was told to take a taxi and I would be reimbursed for the fare, not the toll or tip however. Tip wasn't an issue, but the toll was 7.50, not a lot of money but one of the reasons I stayed there was for the shuttle. I was immediately reimbursed for the 32.50 fare and when I asked the clerk why there wasn't a shuttle she said they didn't have one that night. It was a Saturday night. I suggested that we should have been told it was a possibility before hand.

We come to the area at least 4 times a year for visits to Brigham and Womans Hospital in Brookline. This is our home away from home and we love the lobster!!! The shuttle to and from the airport is wonderful. Just hope ;you don't have to do it during rush hours. The outside bar/lounge is so lovely spring thru fall and they serve excellent food in the restaurant.

This hotel is close to Black Falcon Cruise Port and to the Metro system. Friendly staff. Shuttle service from airport could be slow if peak commute traffic. Stayed here before and most likely will again. Glad they have the breakfast buffet setup. It was nice.

This hotel is small but clean ..the free hot breakfast was wonderful ..we stayed here to avoid paying double the price to stay on Boston ..this hotel is about 3/4 mile from the "subway" but you can drive to the station and pay 5.00 to park .. The staff was very helpful .. Don't eat at their in house restaurant it's poor quality and over priced ..but I would absolutely stay here agin .. Lovely outdoor lounge area overlooking the water

stayed there on sunday of labor day week end for the night for an early morning flight. shuttle leaves at 4. wake up call for 3:45 didn't come so set your alarm. there were people running in the halls and having a great time, but i wasn't interested. if i wasn't getting up early i would have complained.it wasn't the hotel's fault that they had young loud guests.

We spent three nights at the Adams Inn on this visit. As on other stays the room was clean, service was good, prices appear competitive, access by car is easy and the Adams Pub staff were outstanding. We will be back.

    « Late summer vacation »

Stayed in the hotel for 10 days during my vacation in Boston area. Hotel facilities was good, and the room and everything else was clean.Excellent service at arrival, departure and during the whole stay. Extra plus for shuttle service to the airport.Wish I'd known this ahead to my arrival so I could use this service at that time also. Nice location by the river. When it was really warm outside, it was so nice to sit by the riverside relaxing with some good food and a cold beer. The only thing that drags the score down for this hotel is the breakfast. Maybe it's because I'm used to higher standards when I stay in Norwegian hotels. But I expected a little bit more variety and more options for my breakfast. So I went to have breakfast on other locations several times. Other than that, my stay at Best Western Adams Inn was very satisfying. The location is really good if you don't want to live in the city center of Boston. Traveling around in the area is quite easy. It's about 10-15 minutes walk to the nearest subway station, and the trains there take you everywhere you want in the area.Just buy a "charlie ticket", 12 dollars for 1 day, and you can start exploring Boston and all surrounded area.

    « A nice place to stay »

Nice hotel for a night. The breakfast was better than most places with waffles, eggs, sausages, and french toast. The front desk person when we checked in gave us problems getting a room with two beds because it was booked on Priceline but eventually gave in. Great views of the river out the windows and a nice room overall.

« Adams Inn - a Great Place to Stay! »

This was the second time in a month that I stayed at the Adams Inn with my mother, who is disabled. We were not pleased with the room we were assigned the first time, so I would encourage handicapped travelers to ask for a room in the new wing. You might have to pay more for the junior suite, but it is worth it! The staff is accommodating and friendly. This is a very busy place, and yet we were made to feel welcome

« Excellent for business travel. »

This riverfront hotel is clean, quiet, comfortable, and ideally located on the south side of Boston with good highway and subway access. Access to the frontage road is a bit tricky until you figure it out- a loop under the elevated roadway typical of Eastern cities. The price for a very nice room is competitive or less than other south Boston hotels, and the BW Adams is the only business-class property that I found in this area. The real charm of this hotel is access to the great mom and pop restaurants near Hancock and Billings in Quincy. I give 5 stars to Burke's Seafood for their lobster dinner, clam chowder, and crab cakes and highly recommend them for anyone looking for good seafood without the tourist atmosphere. If you want trendy, go elsewhere. And the subway into Boston is a block away.

Aside from some booking problems (our reservation was not placed in the computer) we were pleased with this hotel. We paid extra for a room facing the water. Friendly, courteous staff. Our room was clean and comfortable. High speed internet was easy to use. The restaurant food was basic but very good. We were pleased with our stay and will use this hotel again.

« clean and comfortable, great views of river »

value for money hotel on the river the trolley bus to town and bus tours connections at the hotel one of the main reasons we chose this hotel, also restaurant on site and river views. Free breakfast was great and plenty to chose from, Staff really helpful. Restaurant has limited menu but okay laundry was clean and not too expensive

Hotel is better than expected. The fitness center could have more equipment. Don't get the clam chowder, tasted more like cream of potato, very little clam. The staff was friendly. Don't get the clam chowder. Don't get the clam chowder. Breakfast was pretty slim.

    « Nearly perfect »

On a trip to Boston, we found this hotel in a good location, near to the subway, with a direct line to the city centre. The room were good and very comfortable. The staff friendly and helpful. The big let down, was having to eat breakfast from paper plates and cups, with plastic knives and forks.

    « Not what I expected »

This hotel has a lot of potential and is in a great location just south of Boston. My family and I have stayed at a lot of Best Westerns over the years and this might be the first time I have been disappointed. Our stay started with arriving to a hotel employee complaining to another employee about how much they hate their job outside of the front entrance. We walked into the lobby and the same employee who had been complaining outside came in to check us in a minute or so later. He did apologize for us having to hear the conversation outside. He proceeded to check us in and the process crashed part way through. I in no way blame the employee for experiencing computer issues, but when he called technical support he was rather loud while arguing with them on the phone. He also left the lobby at one point and went outside to make another call on his cell phone and smoke a cigarette. I think he was calling his manager, but that is just my assumption. Eventually he was able to get the computer up and running and check us in. He was apologetic about the computer issues and gave us a $20 dining voucher for the hotel restaurant. I should mention that it was just me and my 6 year old son at this point since my husband was at a baseball game. I would expect someone to be a little more careful with their attitude and conversations around a child. I understand people have bad days and it would be frustrating to experience issues when you are the only one working the desk, but at least try to pretend and show good customer service. The experience didn't improve when we arrived at our room. It was literally the smallest room I have ever encountered in a hotel. There was one double bed and an arm chair. There wasn't even enough walking space for a cot. I booked through Priceline so I knew that I was only guaranteed a bed for 2, but this is the first time I have ever had a room (or even seen one in a hotel) that only has a double bed and no pull-out couch. The one positive of the hotel was the restaurant. My son and I enjoyed a dinner on the patio over looking the river and it was definitely beautiful. The food was pretty decent too. I had high hopes for this hotel and was left unlikely ever to return. For the price we paid I was pretty disappointed with the room and the staff.

    « Visiting Boston »

Convenient to train (15 min walk), good wi-fi, good breakfast. Room had a nice view of the river. Shuttle was not available upon arrival but they took the taxi off the bill, but you will have to request this and have a receipt. Chris and Steven at the front desk staff were very helpful. A better price for us than a downtown Boston hotel. Will stay here again when we return to Boston.

    5
« Shuttle is so worth it »

This was our second time staying at this hotel mostly for the extended parking offered and the airport shuttle. We did run into a problem with the shuttle at the end of our trip. When we called to be picked up we were told the shuttle wasn't working, but they also told us to get a taxi, save the receipt, and the hotel would refund our credit card the price of the taxi. Excellent customer service. The hotel staff was incredibly attentive when checking in and checking out. The breakfast was typical for a Best Western with several hot options. Subway is within walking distance and my daughter and I took it to a Red Sox game the night of our stay. The one downside is it can be difficult to find the first time. The hotel is easy to see off the road, but you need to drive under a bridge to get to the hotel and the signs directing you are on the small side.

« Great value, love the airport shuttle service! »

We stayed here the night before our flight to Europe and then, the night after we had returned. Very nice place to gear up before hand and unwind afterward. The little bar was great, although kind of pricey. Staff were fantastic (especially the shuttle driver who brought us to Logan Airport). Great value! Best of all they let us park our car in the lot for the duration of our trip for a very reasonable price. Only real negative is that is almost IMPOSSIBLE to locate from the freeway.

    « Great value »

We had a wonderful experience with this hotel. It is close to the North Quincy stop on the T and a good value for hotels around Boston. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and accommodating. They were knowlegable about the area and were quick to help resolve any questions we had. The beds in the hotel were also very comfortable and the hotel was very clean. There was a good selection of food for the free breakfast and the area was very safe.

    « Convenient »

We stayed at the Best Western Adams Inn. Close to Boston without the Boston hotel prices. Only problem was finding entrance to hotel because of poor signage (which we found out was because Quincy has regulations on their signage which made location hard to enter. Hotel was clean and bright and staff was friendly.

« Comfortable Hotel Outside Boston »

The Adams inn is a pleasant hotel far less expensive than staying in Boston. The hotel and our room were clean, and the staff at the hotel friendly and courteous. The size of the double beds in our room seemed extremely small, so sleeping was not as comfortable as it might have been since we had two to a bed. It took us about ten minutes to talk to the T station (South Quincy), and it was about a 25 minute ride to the center of Boston. The airport shuttle was convenient and delivered us from the airport to the hotel within an hour of our flight touching down - a very convenient service.

    « Hopping Nightlife »

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay. The hotel is located on the river. It's has good options for outside dining whether the bar or the restaurant. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was average, however only the inside seating was open so it made for cramped quarters. There's plenty of free parking. The Adams Inn is an average Best Western, with an extra star for the good happy hour and nightlife.

« Staff Makes You Very Welcome »

This hotel is convenient for Stay & Fly or Stay & Cruise. It is about 1 15 minute walk to the T in North Quincy or you can park at the station). Hotel decor was a little dated but very clean. Staff made this visit amazing. Restaurant very good (chili is spicy & yummy). Sunset view on patio overlooking water was very relaxing.

Excellent stay... Very friendly front desk staff. They are always go out of the way to help you out, especially Kimberly (she is really sweet!) They have a nice pub and provide decent food, not pricey at all. Public get together in the gazebo on summer time (only on Wednesdays) is awesome. Highly recommended for family or business stay.

Our stay at this hotel was not only reasonably priced but it was in a great location and nicely appointed. We arrived on the Amtrak train and our hotel was close to the station. When we had a early departure the staff went above and beyond by packing us a to go breakfast since we would miss the continental breakfast.

« Good hotel just outside of the city »

Had to be in Boston for an event and had difficulty finding a hotel within the city due to other events going on in the city. This hotel had great rates but appeared far away. Subway stop is just down the road, an easy safe walk at any time of day. Was able to get into city within 15-20 minutes. Free parking on site and free breakfast & wifi included. Would stay there again.

« It was our last resort »

We needed a place to sleep the night before a flight out of Logan airport. This hotel participates in a program where you can stay one night, then leave your car in their lot while you're away. Very economical, my family and I do this frequently. Just not at this place. We arrived at 10:00 pm - just myself and my 11 yo son. We live far from the airport, so this allows us to get more sleep than if we stayed home. When we got there, the snarky desk clerk rudely informed me that they didn't have my name. And that was that - he walked away. I showed him my phone with the reservation info - he told me to watch my tone with him (!!) and that I wasn't in their records, that they were overbooked already and "I don't know what you think I can do!". After a few minutes, he called his manager, who never answered his calls. He finally cancelled someone else's reservation - he told me this was what he was doing - and said he would deal with them later. We got a room, finally, but wow. The room itself was ok. There was lipstick on a towel in the bathroom, but whatever - we didn't use it. The sheets looked clean, floor could have used a vacuuming. We got a few hours sleep, a ride to the airport and inexpensive, safe-ish parking. We ended up having to take a cab from the airport back to the hotel when we came home. We waited for the shuttle for over 30 minutes, and our flight landed around 11:30. We just wanted to get home. The front desk called my phone and scolded me for leaving. The clerk tried to argue with me about how long we'd been waiting. I had to end the call. So, we won't be back, obviously. Hopefully, this was an anomaly and not indicative of a typical stay.

« Three Days at the Adams Inn »

First of all, the location is easy to see, but a bit challening to arrive at. It sets on the water, but directly adjacent to the freeway bridge. Follow your GPS. The hotel is more than adquate, had outdoor seating adjacent to the water, free breakfast, shuttle to the Ttransit, and has a Tour Bus stopping every morning to go into the City. The down-side: small restaurant, poor waitstaff help, less than wonderful food (my pizza was fairly inedible), but the bartender was friendly. The $ was better - I stayed 3 nights, and got a deal.

    2
    « JRG! »

the hotel had me listed for a double booking and wouldn't allow me to keep my car as planned. I needed to cancel my booking and rebook while I was there. The manager had spoken to my wife earlier that day to confirm our reservations and did mention the double booking issues.

    « Best Western Adams »

The view is the best asset of this hotel, it lies on the Neponset River edge. Our room faced the river. We watched the tide go in and out throughout the day. It was a lovely view in the evening as we watched the sunset. The staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful. There is a Gazebo and tent area for functions as well as their meeting rooms. This would make a perfect bridal reception and honeymoon spothe. There us plenty of parking and shuttle service to Logan Airport.

« Super Clean and comfortable rooms »

Cleanest room I have ever been in and I am very picky. Had king room with a view of the river. We had very nice weather so we had dinner outside at the hotel which was lovely. All four of us raved about the Haddock dinner and the clam chowder was the best any of us ever had. Nice pub atmosphere. Free breakfast was perfect to get us ready for our days into Boston. Used Train system which was about a 10 minute walk from hotel. Free airport shuttle service to and from airport went smooth. We called them upon arrival at airport and they arrived within 20 minutes. Only negative thing I can even think of was the showers were very low pressure. Otherwise it was a great hotel.

« Mixed thoughts on Adams Inn »

We have stayed there before & was looking forward to our stay. Got in late from a family gathering at Fenway Park only to find out that the pillows were rock hard & there were no others to choose from- it's as if they were for decoration only. The A/C fluctuated so much that we had to leave the fan on all night & there was no speed choice & it was loud. Breakfast was a nightmare - the place was very busy, the food area very very small, people bumping each other just to get some toast, they got low on food, ran out of coffee (did make more)..just not an enjoyable way to start the day. The room was very clean, bathroom very small but for one night it was OK, toiletries very cheap, do have an expectation of more quality when one pays over 200.00 a night. It is a classic example of "tourist season" - lets rip them off. In addition, even with GPS, it can be a nightmare to find.

« Worst night of my vacation »

This was one of the worst nights I've ever spent in a hotel, and I travel a lot - 4 different hotels in this week alone. My room was opposite the ice machine (which is normally set away from the rooms in other hotels) so I was kept awake, and reawakened, all night long by that noise, from people filling huge coolers at 1 in the morning, to the recurring processing of the icemaker. The noise of the refrigerator and the air conditioning in the room was deafening. The beds were hard, the bathroom small with virtually no counter space, and the toilet did not flush properly. We were stunned by the lack of proper lighting - including the use of harsh lightbulbs - and asked for and received another lamp so that we could at least see to read while sitting in the chair or on the bed. Meanwhile, we ate at the Adams Pub which is part of the hotel and had polite but completely inadequate service at dinner, and the food was both burned and raw on the same plate! The included breakfast buffet was messy and disorganized, with watery scrambled eggs, limp ersatz sausage, and toasters that took forever. We couldn't wait to leave this place and would never recommend it to anyone. It's fame is a view of the Neponset River, which gave a pretty sunset, and it's location near to Boston. I felt the price was too high ($210+) for all the discomforts.

« The Good, The Bad.... and the Ugly »

We were here for almost 2 weeks, so had a wide range of experiences. The GOOD - Room: We had a king water view room. Beautiful view, gorgeous sunsets. Room was clean and has a refrigerator. No microwave, but there is one outside breakfast area that you can use, if needed. Location: About a half mile from the 'T' (not 1/4 mile, as someone stated). 15 to 20 minute walk (the closest station is closed on weekends, so have to walk a little further). Bar/Restaurant: Wonderful staff - excellent service. They have an outdoor seating area with a view of the river. Food was good. Locals also frequent - we met some interesting and extremely nice folks. Free breakfast - Good - eggs, meats, cereals, etc. Lots of choices, but pretty much the same thing every day. Hotel staff - Steve at the front desk is exceptional - stood out from the rest. Made our stay with his smile and great customer service. Got attitude from some of the rest of the staff (will cover that in the 'ugly' portion of the review). The BAD - Room: It took several minutes for the water in the shower to get hot first thing in the morning. They have water saving shower heads, so the water pressure was not as good as I like it (could not adjust it to my preference). Room could use some touch up paint and carpet needs a shampoo. Location: Not much right around the hotel - Domino's pizza and Dunkin Donuts, also Cathay Pacific restaurant, but that's about it. Hotel staff - When we had issues, we got different stories depending on who we talked to. Room keys only worked for about a day for the first week - we had to keep getting them re-keyed. Front desk told us to keep them away from credit cards, etc., so we did, but did not help. Steve later explained (again, his great service) that they had a new machine and everyone was having issues, not just us. He re-keyed them for us, and they worked fine after that. The UGLY:They kept authorizing our card for different amounts constantly. Adding and then dropping charges. To make a long story short, on the Friday before 4th of July weekend, they added charges that maxed out our card. No one would help and we got 4 different stories. In addition, we were told there was nothing they could do until the manager arrived at 9:30,and then, after WE called them 3 times, were told the manager would not be in until Tuesday. The assistant manager did tell us on Saturday that the charges were only authorizations (which would have saved time and stress if we had been told that to begin with) - she also raised her voice when I asked for clarification, which was not helpful considering the situation. When my husband spoke with Steve (he of the great service) he was genuinely upset and offered to upgrade us to a suite, but we only had 3 nights left at that point and would have had to pack everything up and move. At least he did something to try and make the situation better. The manager did try to call us several times, and when we finally did talk with here, we found out she WAS there on the 1st and she didn't understand why we were told she was not (and neither do I). She immediately took care of things and also comped us 1night. Great job, but the staff needs to take lessons in customer service from both the manager and Steve.

« Good Location. Clean room. Rude staff. »

Stayed here one night on our way to Cape Cod. During check-in, the front desk lady raised her voice at a guest who was struggling with the hot water dispenser. He was a foreigner and probably not accustomed to how things work in the US. Room was clean over looking the river. Drink machine was broken but front desk guy said nothing he could do - I guess it was 10 PM. We were awaken at 5 AM from the noise of the ice machine. The walkway to the river-side pergola was scattered with dog poops. Paying $189 last minute booking, I expect much better.

« Comfortable stay on the water »

The Adams Inn is a treasure, in Quincy, MA. They picked me up at 2 am from the airport, had a clean and comfy room by the river ready and cool for me when I arrived. The coffee is fresh brewed and always. The breakfast is fresh and tasty, something for everyone. I found the help especially pleasant and welcoming. Most of all, the location on the river was such a calm place to stay. They have a pub and patio that I enjoyed one evening while waiting for my family. They also have a gazebo on the water for events and they offer a cookout for the guests on Wednesdays at least in the summer. I will most definitely stay at the Adams Inn and look for other Best Western Inns in the future. For me it was just what I needed without all the trappings of a large, loud hotel.

« NO shuttle available and rude staff »

We booked a park, sleep, & fly package. The hotel itself was mediocre, with paint peeling in the room. The departure shuttle left 15 minutes late due the driver arriving late to work. Upon our return (6pm), we called for a shuttle and were told there was no shuttle today. When I informed them that we already paid for the shuttle service, I was told to take a taxi and they will reimburse us for the fare, but not the tip. When I asked why it should cost us more money since it was their error, the rep told me tipping was optional, so I should just not tip the driver. I advised him that we would of course tip and that we want to see a manager when we arrive, he said no problem. When we arrived ($50+ later), we were told there was no manager on duty. When we requested full reimbursement, we were told it was not their policy and that they may not even give us the fare back. Only after advising them that we would contact corporate and BBB, were we given our fare & tip. VERY disappointed. The on-site pub was nice and staff there was good. Front desk staff needs some retraining on customer care.

    « Great Location »

We would recommend this hotel for your stay. Though it is aging-it is kept up. Our particular room had a noisy A//C unit but worked fine. There is no pool at this hotel as indicated. If you are touring Boston it is ideally located. Great Wednesday party on the river.

« Hotel OK, but watch the billing to your credit card »

First off, the staff in both the hotel and pub are excellent. Helpful and very friendly. No issues there. The rooms are ok. We have a king river view and it is very pretty. Our room could use some minor updating it needs painted there are spots on the carpet so it could probably use a shampoo. The hot water in the shower takes a while to come on and the water pressure isn't great. These are minor things though. My husband is happy that the bathroom has a fan. The pub has decent food and great service there's a lovely outside seating area with great views. Colorful locals also frequent the pub we met some very nice people. The walk to the T is about 20 minutes which is fine except when you come home from a long day and your feet hurt and it's 85 makes it seem a little long. Now for the big problem. If not for this issue I probably would have given the hotel 4 stars. If you stay here make sure that you call your bank and let them know that no charges can go through from the hotel without prior approval and them running your card. I have no idea what they think they are doing with their billing. They charged our credit card for the total amount of the room when we checked in. They backed that out and added two charges that total the room charge. Okay fine at this point. They just kept taking things out and putting more charges in until they had charged us almost double what our room is supposed to be. We are here for 2 weeks over the 4th of July so this is not a nominal amount Luckily I get a notification from my credit card company any time a charge is put through and the card is not present. It is 4th of July weekend and right now we have almost double our room charge on our card. When we went to the front desk we couldn't get any help because the manager wasn't here. We went on a brunch Cruise gave them our number and asked to have her call us. No one called my husband called them 3 times - the first time he was told she wasn't in yet the second time he was told she was busy with other things and the third time they said she wouldn't be in until Tuesday she was off for the holiday weekend. Best Western customer service was no help. They said they could send her an email and she would get it even though she wasn't at work. He said they have seven days to investigate. So, as I stated above if you decide to stay here make sure you get with your bank so they can't put anything through that isn't approved and the card isn't swiped. If they were to do this and put you over the limit on your card and it was the only card you had it could be a bad situation. We are fine but they pretty much ruined our vacation because I have been doing nothing but dealing with this for 2 days. I finally decided to just forget it I'll call the bank on Tuesday and take care of it with them. Unfortunately, our bank is also closed for the weekend.

    « Convenient and Affordable »

My first stay here, convenient to Boston and a lot less than hotels in downtown Boston. Rooms were clean and updated, but just not completely redone, parts of the update just not quality workmanship. But overall, with the restaurant Pub in the lobby and the friendly staff and being less expensive it overall is a good place to stay. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Boston area.

    « Conviently loccated »

The hotel has a good buffet style breakfast included. The pool was removed to make a patio. I would have rather had the pool. It was located within walking distance to the T (subway) and there were plenty of places to eat nearby. Be aware that there will be a $50.00 charge added to your bill for incidentals that will not be refunded until 3-5 days after you check out. This was the only hotel to do this on our 10 day trip.

Overall we were happy with our stay. It is a nice hotel with a good view (on one side). The room was clean, but the bathroom needs work (toilet difficult to flush and water damage to walls/cupboard. The attached restaurant/lounge was fun with a good view of the water. Biggest complaint- very difficult to get to because of location.

We always stay at this hotel when we travel. Its the BEST. Pleasant staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Excellent choice of foods and always great food and service. Meet lots of other travelers and enjoy hearing their experiences. Its home away from home when we travel. The airport and pier shuttle service is timely and we always enjoy the expert and professional drivers.

« Great Quincy location, subway about 1/4 mile away! »

Definitely a no-frills kind of motel, but clean and location is great for exploring Boston, Quincy, Plymouth & Cape Cod. Front desk person was very helpful with local restaurants & dinner was great at the Chinese place around the corner.

    « Clean and comfortable no-frills accomodation »

Stayed for two nights and generally satisfied. Staff from the front desk to the pub were attentive and helpful. Our suite was a generous size, with a small living area seperated from the bedroom area by a 1/3 height wall and featured a comfortable couch and a coffee table along with dressing unit. Bathroom was large and clean, with a multi-headed shower which was a nice touch. Basic toiletries are provided. Two things to note: 1. Our room faced east, so in addition to the lovely view of the parking lot and bridge the morning sun easily overpowered the closed curtains, meaning that you're up when the sun is. 2. Although generally the room was quiet, it was not quiet enough to drown out the yobs in the next room screaming at each other at 2am. A call to the front desk sorted that out fairly quickly, although there were a lot of yobs so it was a moving target. Adding to the fun is the racket when the air conditioner fires up, very distracting. If you're on the second floor you may also experience an early-morning rythmic throbbing which I assume is the industrial clothes washer or dryer. An on-site pub offers a large patio with both standard tables as well as a few couches, perfect for lounging in with a cold beer watching the airliners passing by on final approach to Logan. Food selection is standard pub grub, with some local twists such as a crispy fried shrimp club sammich, which was very tasty. Regular club sandwich featured turkey slices instead of whole bird which was disappointing. Hamburger was also reported to be tasty. A free shuttle to the aiport is availabe, recommend reserving to ensure a seat and be sure to leave plenty of time to get to the airport, as Boston traffic was designed by the devil himself.

« Great Quincy Location- Everything you need is here »

This hotel is located about 1/2 mile from the red line and MT station. If you prefer you can park at the station all day for $5 and avoid the hassle and expense of Boston parking. We took the train to downtown the first day and walked t heDowntown Crossing Area. Likewise the other sections of Boston the other days. You can get anywhere from here with just a few blocks of walking. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The on site pub ( Adams Pub) was very convenient.

    « Adams Inn - Never Again »

Checked into Adams Inn in Qunicy, MA. The desk staff was good, the cleaning staff was good. The restaurant food was mediocre bar food taken up a slight notch to include some seafood. Not enough servers - they need to, at the very least, double the number of servers. And it wasn't because the servers were lax - they just had w-a-a-y too many table to wait on. The business office was 1 computer with printer on a shelf just off the main lobby. We got to our room and noticed light was coming through the door. (See pictures) When we got inside the room, we saw how bad their security was. (See more pictures) It looked like the room had been broken into at one point and they never really fixed the secondary safety lock. Only 3 floors in the place and you have to wait a few minutes for hot water to come to the room - inexcusable. The free breakfast was also alright, but they served powdered eggs. Since there is limited space to eat in, it was difficult to find an empty table to eat at. 3 tables were being tied up for over an hour with people just talking. The management should put a time limit on the stay at the tables or, at least, say you cannot just sit there if you are not eating. Another table was being occupied by people just talking and finished with their meal. Oh, and also, no ice machines except for somewhere in the lobby. A pool was shown on their floor plan in the room, but that was covered up last year and does not exist anymore. The Gazebo shown on their website was off limits because that space was rented out every night we were there (all 4 nites). The view over the Neponset River was nice. All that being said, this is still the worst Best Western I have ever been in. Would I go back there again? Only in a dire, dire emergency - maybe.

« Beautiful view and Convenient »

We stayed for 3 nights in June 2016 at this hotel. We had a pleasant stay. We had a beautiful view of the water from our room. The room itself was clean and decent. The one thing that I thought strange was that there was no microwave in our room but there was a refrigerator. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I believe the gentleman that helped us was named Stephen. Additionally there was a large selection provided for the breakfasts in the morning. The hotel is very convenient location for those wishing to travel to Boston. It is within walking distance to the train (T). Additionally though the hotel has a restaurant there are a few other restaurants within walking distance. There is a Dunkin' Donuts, Panera Bread and Applebee's in walking distance. The hotel does not have a pool unfortunately but they do have a lovely deck and gazebo. We would stay here again.

« Good points overcome the few lows. »

Stayed here for one night. Excellent service in bar / restaurant and at breakfast especially a lady called Elsa I believe. Free shuttle to airport a big plus and a friendly driver from Albania was most helpful. Hotel itself especially the rooms are well worn. Duck tape in areas and an exposed metal fitting on floor ( not sure what it was) in our room. Rooms need a good refresh but overall I would stay here again.

« Awesome view! Great staff! Clean rooms! »

Here's what you should know: -super friendly front staff Stephen and Chris helped us with everything from directions to hotel amenities - - rooms were super clean (I'm a bit OCD in this category) - make sure you don't use walk unit for a/c (I didn't know this) use the new wall temp -there is NO POOL - the food wasn't that great but the service was OUTSTANDING!!!! -Chris the waiter was soooooo friendly and punctual -the view from the restaurant is breathtaking and the sunset is to dream for!

« Decent, Reasonably Priced, and Not Far From Subway to City »

This was an average hotel. Nothing spectacular bit the rooms were decent, clean, and well maintained. Boston can be such an expensive city that this was a reasonable choice at less than half the price of inner city hotels. Yes, you aren't far from the red line subway that takes you into downtown Boston, so a car rental isn't necessary. Know though that the subway is not as close as some make it out to be. It seems close to a mile away and a sort of sketchy walk through town. The free airport shuttle was a real nice benefit. Our driver, an older man with a native Boston dialect was extremely helpful in telling us about spots in the city we shouldn't miss. He earned a generous tip for his courtesy and info. Although a "free" shuttle, please don't lea e your manners at home and tip these folks. Boston traffic is a nightmare and our driver anyhow, took it with a grain of salt.

    « Cozy and quaint »

I love this hotel, but I know it wouldn't be for everybody. The rooms reminded me of something that might be close to the ocean. I had a wonderful view of the river that was directly outside of my room. Literally, my One wall was all window, next to the rocks, next to the walking path, and the river. I ate dinner on the outside deck and enjoyed an adult beverage. I usually enjoy room service, but I found myself being grateful for the fact that they did not have room service and I was forced to spend time in the beautiful Massachusetts summer breeze by the river. Staff was great. Food was reasonably priced and good. And I was happy to not be in the chain hotel that had 18 stories. Quaint and cozy is the perfect description.

« Great location, average place »

Located on the Naponset Basin and on a green way, very scenic and accessible to the running/walking trails. Not far from the public transit system and an easy commute into Boston. Breakfast was good, had a variety of hot and cold food choices and included in price of stay. Restaurant food was average and service slow. Rooms were very clean but not well maintained (cracks in sink, chipped paint on walls, musty smell). Bed comfort was poor. Biggest gripe was the excessive noise from other guests late in the evening and early in the morning. However, the front desk acted quickly to stop it when the complaint was made each time. Definitely would not stay on the first floor again, but would try the same place if the room was on the third floor and riverside. Pick up from and drop-off to airport was convenient and timely.

« Good hotel to stay on budget »

Nice place, clean rooms with renovated bathrooms. The staff is very friendly. Coffee available all day. One thing, THERE IS NO POOL. They put cement and brickpavers on top. Dont trust the old pictures or google, there is no pool. The breakfast is good and filling. WIFI is good. Good TV channel selection on LCD modern TV. They have a laundry area which is great if you run out of clean cloths. Fridge in room. No safe box in room. The restaurant on site is a plus if you are too tired to go out to eat. A/C unit is a bit noisy. They had weddings the two weekends we were there, so it could get loud. Drive distance to Boston is short, but traffic is a nightmare. There is traffic 24/7 in Boston. Will stay again if I have to.

    « Pros and Cons »

We booked the Best Western Adams Inn Quincy as the weekend we were in Boston the downtown hotels were particularly expensive. Pros ? A 10 minute safe walk from the T North Quincy red line (Braintree train) ? Good price and waterside location ? Generally friendly staff with a particularly helpful manager Valerza ? Allocated room 215 waterside twin room of single (full) beds. Newly decorated and aesthetically pleasing. Beds not suitable for 2 people to sleep comfortably in. ? Good breakfast options served Cons Completely random shuttle service which we waited for at Logan for 1 and a half hours. Traffic issues undoubted but not practical as a method to get places at all. On the Sunday at check out the same shuttle was promised at 7.30am to take us to South Station at 8.00 am Subsequently we learned at 8.15am that the shuttle did not cover South Station when the driver still had not showed. Patently for this hotel do NOT rely on the shuttle. Arrangements were finally made to get us to South Station last minute however the level of miscommunication had it not been so incredibly stressful would have been funny. Repeatedly told that the shuttle would leave at 8.00am even when it was 8.15am. Anyway as I say don't rely on the advertised shuttle. It's just not worth it. Room 106 and 108 On arrival at the hotel 3 hours after collecting our bags at Logan (shuttle and traffic issues) on the Thursday we were allocated first 106 and then 108. Both rooms very small facing the maintenance shed 106 smelling musty and 108 overly of fabreze to disguise? My wife and I stated these rooms were not acceptable and the really friendly manager relocated us to 215 but not until the following night of a 3 night stay. Staff Incompetence Best Western needs to be aware they have an extremely competent and nice manager and some good staff. However due to the repeated conflicting information given the results are stress, time wasted, and missed connections Room Keys Always get them reprogrammed when passing reception. 3 times we made it to our room for them not work. Recommendations ? Book an UBER or a taxi unless the shuttle is literally "leaving" ? Take the T to North Quincy ? Request waterside rooms ? Try and stay in Boston if your budget can stand it.

« Nice location and overall decent »

The restaurant at the property is hotel's best part. They have nice food and super friendly staff! Overall hotel is quite decent. It could do better in terms of hallways. Also, bit on the expensive side for the value you get.

    5
    « Great hotel! »

All the front desk staff was super friendly, helpful, and professional. There is a good selection for breakfast (make yourself waffles and pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, hot and cold cereals, toast, bagels, yogurt, fruit, etc..., but the menu does not change up. Also, nice perk is that you have access 24/7 to coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and instant oatmeal. Rooms have frig, but no microwave. Adam's Pub is great. The walk to the subway is easy, and no more than 10 minutes walk. The hotel is a stop for excursions so that helps too. Only cons were water pressure in shower is low, and housekeeping staff not the best. Our room was reserved for 3 people, and accept for the day we checked in, we kept being shorted a set of towels. The front desk was always quick to have a set brought upstairs. We even kept the towels hung one day to help with water conservation, and they still took them down and gave us only 2 sets. One morning I left a note to leave us 3 sets, but only still received two! I would definitely stay again!

« Beware of extra credit card charges. »

A few days after leaving the hotel I see that I was charged a 150.00 fee for smoking in the room when no one did. I assume they saw a pack of cigarettes in the trash and think they can use this to fraudulently make additional profit. The hotel is refusing to refund this money and it looks like a lawsuit will be my only remedy. If you stay here I suggest you make them do a walk through before you leave to avoid this situation. Beware!!!!

« GOOD LOCATION TO SITE SEE IN BOSTON »

I use it for the Park and Fly when I go to the airport(Logan). They make getting to and from the airport as simple as possible. They always do a top job. The only problem is finding it the first time but it's worth the search.

    « Unclean »

I had a horrible stay at the Best Western. The first morning we found a dead mouse in our room. The staff moved us to a new room which had an adjoining door to the next room - we were able to hear every sound that our neighbors made. Would not stay here again.

« Just okay, walls paper thin »

We stayed here for 2 nights for a Harvard graduation. The first night, our next door neighbors' alarm went off at 3:15 am, and they hustled about for 45 minutes before departing. The second night it was chatter and the noise of the tv in the evening that we found disruptive. These noises were clearly heard in our room. So we had disturbed sleep on both nights. Breakfast was mediocre, very crowded room. We left early on the second morning so missed breakfast. Check-in staff were efficient but not friendly or welcoming. We did get AAA discount but even with that, the cost of $200+ per night was more than our stay was worth.

    « Nice place »

I have a friend who stays here with the park and fly option; she recommended the Adams Inn pretty highly, so I thought we'd try it, since we had an early morning doctor's appointment, filling a sudden cancellation, and we live on the Cape. We made a same day reservation through Expedia, but when we got to Adams, there was no record. The counter person, Chris, called Expedia, there was also no record. Chris was very patient, I talked to Expedia, which I will never use again, by the way, and finally gave up. Chris indicated we could get a room for the same price, and because of our hassles with Expedia, he upgraded our room. Very sweet. The room was clean and comfortable, bed was also comfy. The breakfast was quite good with selections of hot and cold foods. The lady who tended the breakfast area was very efficient, very nice. We would definitely stay here again. We have many medical appointments in Boston, and a stay in Quincy puts us an easy distance from the hospitals. Thank you, Chris!

    « not a bad deal »

was visting schools in the Boston area with my son. Pros: good price free parking! GREAT breakfast (pancake machine!) nice views of water fridge in room walking distance (about 15 min) to T station (red line) quick response to maintenance issue in room places to eat in walking distance cons: I thought there would be a shuttle bus to T station but it was only to the airport. One day is poured so we had to drive the 5 min to the T and pay to park ($5). not a big thing, but a shuttle would have been nice Bathroom was eh... sink area to small to keep tolietries Overall if it had the shuttle- would give it a 5/5

« My family traveling with an 8 day old baby to see his great grandparents for the first time »

I would not recommend the Adams inn to any one, for what they put my family through this evening, they had a baby 8 days old and had to sit in the lobby for almost 2 hrs we reserved a room in advance and explained it was for a young couple with an infant, well because of some mix up on their end they were subjected to this inconvenience ,they tried to explain to the female employee , and her reply was and so what do you want me to do very sarcastic, and and they were shocked at the treatment they got from her, they decided to leave and were able to book a room @ the Marriot in braintree, wher they could finally take care of the needs of their 8 day old baby, and settle in for the night,, to top it all off they still charged us for the room, because they require a 24 hr notice for cancellations, but they were in the lobby trying to check in for almost 2 hrs,, and charged the 279 dollars regardless of the errors , and no apology , no refund, they will never go there , we would never go there and would not recommend them to anyone , bad experience all around . they managed to ruin what was supposed to be a beautiful day . The Adams Inn in Quincy need to learn how to treat their patrons.

« Great Staff and Value. »

The staff was really helpful. we enjoy the park and fly option. we find this to be an exceptional value for the Boston area. the hotel is convenient to the Train, which was helpful to visit Boston. the check in and check out process was fast and accurate. Great Job ! Hotel Adams.

« Newly redecorated rooms that are clean, comfortable and attractive. »

Spent the night here to catch the early-morning shuttle to Logan Airport. The 3rd floor room had a great view of the water, was newly redecorated and had a very comfortable bed. Nice amenities in the bathroom.

    3
« Not particularly good value »

The deal breaker for us was the very noisy air conditioner which rattled on and off all night. Very disruptive and in warmer weather probably on most of the day and night. There are good things to say if that doesn't put you off... Free breakfast, 20 mins walk to the nearest T station, about 20 mins on the train to Boston centre. Plenty of parking at hotel. Free shuttle to airport but does not operate after 4pm. If you like a firm mattress that's what you'll find at this hotel. All Boston hotels seem expensive but we didn't feel this offered particularly good value given how much it cost.

    3
    « Adams Inn Quincey »

Hotel needs to be updated as a whole. Rooms, carpet was dirty and had an odor. The beds were not comfortable. Showers had minimal water pressure. AC was not cooling properly. Mites or no see them fleas were in my room, The carpet in the entire hotel was in bad shape.

    3
« Older hotel with poor shuttle service to port »

Older hotel we used for 1 night stay and shuttle to cruise port with 1 week parking while on cruise. Room was okay for 1 night, large as hotel rooms go, but older. Shuttle service to cruise port was good, but upon return had to wait over an hour for shuttle after we called. When I called, I was told it would be 20 minutes, that turned into over an hour. Never will use them again. Over all the shuttle service gets a very poor rating.

    « Rest In Peace »

My stay at Adam Inn was a pleasant one. The shuttle van from the Airport was timely as well as my return. Everything that I needed was all in one place. The easy access to the WI-FI in the lobby as well as the room helped stay current on my emails and other computer activity.

    3
« Tiny rooms, grumpy clerks »

Upon check in we were "greeted" by a soft spoken disgruntled night clerk who clearly despised his job. Barely audible, when asked "pardon?" his eyes widened as he looked up repeating himself in an unnecessarily loud tone, while gruffly shoving a piece of paper in my direction. Not what I want to deal with at 1:30am after a 5.5 hour car ride. The room was painfully tiny with a window overlooking a brick faced exterior hallway (service entrance?) and trashcan. There was no tub and the decor and lighting were drab. As my fiance described it, it resembled a swanky prison cell if there was such a thing but the room served its purpose. The bed was adequate and the shower (albeit a stall set up) worked. The continental breakfast was pleasant enough with a buffet style selection of juices from concentrate, coffee, cereal, bananas, sausage patties, stiff french toast sticks, eggs (hardboiled, omelet with cheese wiz (???) and scrambled), bagels, danishes and a fresh self serve waffle station with decent seating. Overview: Eh, you get what you pay for. If you're okay with a budget place to lay your head for a night or two, it's worth it I suppose.

    « Worst stay!!! »

I decided to go with this hotel for my boyfriend's birthday since it was his birthday and it's on the water however that was the worst choice ever! First i was placed on the first floor in room 111 near the lobby. I checked in around 1:30am and went back to ask the night auditor for a higher floor and he told me just come back in the morning as if he wanted to get rid of me. He did not even ask me why I wanted a higher floor. When i went inside it was the worst room ever! Things were broken and dirty. the beds were really uncomfortable. i was supposed to stay for 2 days but i checked out the next morning. I asked for a manager at check out and they told me the manager was not available at that time. the lady at the front desk did not even ask me why i wanted to check out a day earlier. As an employee of best western myself I was very disappointed!!!! I will never stay here again when i come to Boston.

« Best hotel stay and wonderful restaurant »

The beds are so comfortable and the room was so very clean and comfortable! Kimberly who checked us in was so very professional and personable! I had swordfish for dinner and my husband has steak tips which were delicious! The shuttle to the airport is very good as well. Make sure to make reservation in advance. Stay here for a great night sleep and great food!

    2
« Poor value for the money »

The quality and amenities in the room were poor, particularly the noise from the heating system and when the light is turned on in the bathroom. It was what I would expect at a discount motel room. The quality of the breakfast was also poor. However, the service was excellent.

« Decent hotel, rubbish breakfasts »

This is a very late review, I stayed in the Adams for six days over the New Year period, we went to America for a wedding, I found the staff on the whole were lovely, granted the older gentleman in reception was polite, but definitely not pleasant, but the rest of the staff more than made up for him. I found the room was quite large, very clean and well maintained, with a comfortable bed and plenty pillows and covers, and I appreciated the free tea and coffee area available in foyer. The bar is comfortable, and the staff are really friendly, and the barfood was great (quick service, lovely food), however the breakfasts weren't up to much, we tended to just get cereal and forgo any hot food available as it tended to be tasteless, however the bar food was so nice we ate there three nights out of the six we stayed. All in all, if we go back to Boston again, I would stay in the adams, and would recommend it to my friends.

    « Thank You »

This hotel is great for what my price point I was looking for. The room had a nice view and the restaurant/pub downstairs was very convenient. My tuna melt and waffle fries were yummy!. The entire hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The train station is less than 5 minutes away which was beneficial to me. **I received a phone call that I had forgotten an item in my room the day I checked out . It turned out to be one of my wallets. I was so thankful for Maria and the team for getting it back to me**

« Good place for park & fly from Logan »

The service we experienced here could have been better, but it was still a decent place to stay. We would recommend it to friends who needed a place to stay and leave their car when flying from Logan Airport. Also, the chicken salad sandwich in the pub was excellent!

    « Great Location »

Why stay in central Boston when you are only 4 stops away on the T train and much cheaper here? The hotel is clean and the people are very friendly, Breakfast is great if all items are available, you do sometimes have to wait for replenishments which can be a pain but the selection and standard is good. Excellent Chinese within a few mins walk would recommend this hotel, and stay here again! We did have a minor problem with being charged for the room when we had a prepaid voucher however this was sorted very quickly.

In town on business and this place was a great stay that helped make it feel like a mini vacation! Great room had all the space and services I needed. Staff was friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast service was very nice and a great way to start each day! The view from the room and out on deck was amazing, especially at sunset! The food and drink at dinner were also very good and made it convenient for nights that I wanted to stay in. Look forward to my next trip to Quincy and staying at Adams Inn!

« this is with out a doubt the worst hotel in the country »

we have used this hotel for many years and it was formally owned by a family. The previous family ownership took great pride in providing a quality property and a good nights rest the hotel has changed hands and is now managed by GIRI hotels. Giri hotel management is hands off, just in it for the money and cares nothing about your safety and or comfort not only have we been exposed to loud and uncontrolled people in rooms next to ours, there is No security at all. The hotel rooms are ice cold, imagine the heat not going above 66 on a -5 degree day. we were also exposed, frightened and threatened by the ride on their shuttle to the extent when we checked in we immediately felt scared and left the hotel at 1 in the morning we called Best Western corporate who listened but took no action. I am sure Best Western is in it for the money and does nothing to enforce standard to it's franchise operators If you find your self in a GIRI managed and owner property DO NOT STAY THERE you will experience a management company with nothing but $$$$ signs tacked on your back and could care less about the experience, safety and condition of the hotel In case you are wondering I have been in the hotel business for 40 years and this hotel and GIRI are the worst example of a hotel management company I have ever experienced STAY AWAY

« Convenient; clean; great service! »

Great location close to Boston. So convenient for to and from Logan. Their shuttle takes you right to your gate and picks you up when you get back. 14 days of leaving your car parked at that location is included in your park and fly price.

« Not worth the money »

This location cannot be recommended. Noise was a problem the first morning. Was woken from sleep by the cleaning staff before 7am. Was told I could be moved, but no other waterview rooms available. Next night was woken by a drunken patron arguing with roommates. location fine, walk to T stop but front desk should mention that the taxi stand is not located where you arrive. (after dark, a bit concerning)

The breakfast was great! The staff at breakfast were very warm and friendly. The folks at the front desk were also very helpful an friendly. « Only just adequate »

Quick overnight before a nearby business meeting. The staff is very helpful, the rooms are clean, there's good free wi-fi, but amenities are average, at best, even for a budget hotel. My non smoking room smelled from cigarette smoke. The heat was noisy and insufficient on a cold night. Cable TV didn't even carry all the news stations. There was only one package of coffee for the coffee maker. There is a decent enough pub if you're too tired to go out. They serve some breakfast. They mean well, they just need to step it up a bit.

    5
    « Clean & Comfortable »

The room was pleasantly furnished. The bed was comfortable, affording a good night's sleep. Breakfast was good. Service was good and thorough. Staff go out of their way to be helpful. The location by the river affords pleasant views. All in all, a good place to stay when visiting the Boston area (short walk to the subway).

I had a terrible experience with the night desk clerk. I had a last minute late night (2am) check in. The clerk made a big deal that I hadn't made the reservation thru the hotel chain but thru hotels.com. He complained that the reservation would take extra time to come through and was overall very negative and unpleasant and unhelpful with resolving the problem. Overall, the hotel accommodations were nice and pleasant enough. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

« Great park and fly! »

We recently stayed here before flying out of Logan for vacation. It was a great place to stay for a night, with parking for up to 2 weeks. They shuttled us to and from the airport. The room was spacious and quiet. We would stay here again.

Excellent hotel! Always stay here when in Quincy and Boston! Love the service and quality and never disappointed! Very reasonably priced, great food, wonderful employees! Will not stay at another hotel!

« Decent place to stay but terrible shuttle service »

We have stayed here several times and always have had to wait for the shuttle to pick us up from the airport. I understand Boston traffic and have always allowed for it but there is no reason to have to wait an hour to be picked up at 6:30 am on a Saturday when you are less than a 15 minute drive away and there is NO traffic. They even ask what time your flight is coming in. But apparently do nothing with the information. So if you are planning on using their shuttle service for airport pickup plan on waiting a minimum of an hour no matter what day or time it is.

    « Awful Customer Service »

The evening of 2/26 my husband and I checked into the Adams Inn in Quincy, MA excited for our vacation the next morning. The man at the front desk was rude, ornery, and short with us. But we brushed it off and went to our room. There must have been some kind of function happening as it was extremely loud and there were drunk people everywhere. The next morning we were scheduled for the 4am shuttle. Our room was next to the lobby and we strolled in about 3:58...my husband had just been out to the truck and said the shuttle was just getting there. When we looked outside, there was no shuttle. Assuming it pulled further up, we went outside and didn't see it anywhere. When we went to the front desk we had to stand and wait for the man to come out. I politely asked if the shuttle had left and he responded "yes, probably." And then added "I'm not the shuttle driver, I'm just back here running reports." When I asked if it was common for the shuttle to leave without all the people that are on their list he said "the shuttle operates like humans, they don't wait 1 minute for anyone." And then he proceeded to show me his cell phone which read 4:02am to prove that we were all on the same page. With a 6:00 am international flight out of Logan we couldn't afford to wait for the 5am shuttle so he called us a cab, which took over 30 minutes to get to the hotel when the man at the desk quoted us 4-6 minutes and would cost $30-$45!!My husband and I paid $200 for the night for the free shuttle service and the park and fly service. The only reason we chose this particular hotel is because they had the 4am shuttle option when most hotel shuttles started later than that. We were offered no additional services or compensation, only a phone call to a cab service. We will never stay here again!!! Not impressed at all by the "customer service" here!!!

    « Beautiful riverfront location »

The Adam's Inn was a very pleasant surprise. Although as a Best Western I expected it to be clean, and well kept, the location, décor, quality of furnishings was top notch. The historic theme was perfect for it's location in Quincy, MA and the quiet near elegance was very satisfying

« Excellent Park and Fly option »

We stayed at the end of our trip with the Park and Fly option - Excellent service, comfortable rooms, good price. Very good varied choice breakfast included. We have stayed at this hotel before and would stay again in the future.

« Good Value, clean, great location. »

Stayed here around 8 years ago - maybe more - then had to utilize dog friendly venues. Sadly, no dog now but it meant we could revisit this establishment. It it very good. Rooms and bathroom very clean and nicely decorated, not in the least tired. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast hot and plentiful-make your own pancakes, also eggs, sausage, potatoes, French toast, bagels, yogurt and tubs of fruit. Only downside? Make sure you ask for a room on the top floor as I am sure the guests above us were tap dancing in timberland boots! Free parking and a free shuttle to and from the airport are an absolute bonus. Will stay again....and again.

    « A One night stay »

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located on the water and the view is spectacular. The location is good but hard to get to off the main road, but if you pay attention they do have posted directional signs to the property.

« Good place to stay, park and ride to Logan! »

I stayed here with friends from Cape Cod. We were spending the night (including dinner in their restaurant) and taking their shuttle to Logan at 3:00am for a 5:00am flight to Los Cabos, MEX! The room was clean, comfortable and dinner the night before satisfying, The ride to the airport without a hitch. I enjoyed my flight and stay in Los Cabos with my friends. I returned to Logan a week later. Called for my ride. They arrived in 20 minutes, picked me up (12:30am), and I spent the night at the Adams Inn. Again, comfortable, clean and a good breakfast provided the next morning. I have recommended this hotel and their services to friends who are flying out of Logan.

« Convenient; clean; great service! »

This motel is perfect for those of us who fly our of Logan airport in Boston. They offer a park & fly that allows you to have a great nights rest before your flight & to park your car at site for up to 14 days without any additional charges. The shuttle to and from the airport is convenient and runs smoothly. Lets you off right at your terminal which makes the start of your vacation go that much smoother. They come to pick you up and this process takes about a half hour or so; drop you right at your car!

    « Affordable and Friendly »

The staff at this hotel were all very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Even the food at the pub was very good, and the breakfast buffet was great. Would stay here again on my next trip to Boston.

« Clean newly renovated. Great place!!! »

Always a nice place to stay. Staff is always kind with an easy and fast check in. We particularly like this motel as it is newly renovated and offers the park and fly for our trips from Cape Cod. Food is awesome along with the waitresses. We stay at Best Westerns even on our travels but none can compare to this one in Quincy. I highly recommend this to a couple or family.

    « Room with a view. »

Friendly, helpful staff. Spacious double room with river view! The room had two very comfortable beds, clean fully stocked bathroom, and a good sized refrigerator, coffee maker, an iron and ironing board in a good sized closet. The room was spacious with plenty of room between and at the end of the beds. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. A microwave oven would have been a great addition for the late night reheating of the Chinese food or pizza and should be considered. Finding the place in the one way streets and maze of concrete was a challenge for man and machine!! Great value and highly recommended.

« Best Western Adams Inn »

The Best Western Adams Inn is located on a quiet river setting. It takes about 7 minutes to walk to the subway station. Five stops later you are at the downtown crossing stop. The breakfast provided is substantial and provides a great start to the day. We stayed here in July and didn't consider anywhere else this trip. We'll be back.

« Stay Away If You Need A Ride To The Airport »

We signed up for the Park and Fly which we have used before for trips. The room was fine, the dinner only okay. When we returned we waited an hour for the shuttle even though we had provided our flight arrival beforehand and called again from the airport when we arrived on time. We were told we had arrived at a "shift change" and the manager could not reach the van driver on his cell. The price of the package has risen and the quality of service has seriously declined.

    2
    « Poor Pick up »

We arranged an airport pick up well ahead of time with specific details on our flight. We were waiting at the time specified. We waited for over an hour and were told we had arrived during a "shift change." The manager could not initially reach the van driver as "he is not answering his cell phone." This caused us to miss an important meeting. We have stayed here several times over the years. The price has gone up and the quality of service declined.

    3
    « Nice but Mice »

The hotel room is located at convenient location, nice and cozy, and the amenities are good too. I booked a room facing the water, the view is great. However, when I saw a mice running around my snack bag and make noise, my mood was gone. I felt really sorry for this.

    1
    « Awful »

Will never stay again! We were her on the 17th and again on the 25th. The 17th we ate dinner here at the Adams Pub and the food was the equivalent of cafeteria food. The following morning we awoke to the guy in the room next to us coughing up a storm at 4 am! The walls are paper thin! The morning of the 26th we awoke to dogs barking uncontrollably at 7 am! Apparently there is a dog kennel right next door. And as if this wasn't enough both times the remote for the tv didn't work. No thanks we will be going elsewhere next time we travel out of Boston!

    4
    « Hard to find »

The hotel was a great bargain for the price, once you arrive. It was hard to get to due to traffic patterns and limits on the size of directional signs allowed by Boston regulations. Worth the trouble though. Also close to public transportation (subway): .7 of a mile.

« A good stay in Best Western Hotel, Quincy »

Overall te hotel is good. Pricewise probably not, but the place itself was expensive. The staffs are good, I would say there was monotony in the breakfast menu and it's not a great menu. More like so so kind of. But repeatation of the menu is somehow not desirable.

    4
    « Acceptable »

I was here for 2 days in mid-December 2015 to meet a friend. I chose it for the free wi-fi, free breakfast, free parking (for my friend), proximity to my friend and bathtub. Unfortunately, the bathtub was extremely narrow, making me uncomfortable enough to even try it. While there's absolutely nothing in the immediate vicinity other than a Dunken Donuts, Dominos Pizza and a chinese restaurant (car DEFINITELY needed here), it was quiet, the staff was extremely pleasant and the breakfast buffet had a nice selection (but should add some fresh fruit like apples, bananas, etc.). For a change I slept pretty well as their mattress was firm (my preference), but I found their pillows just a little too thick for my taste. But there were a lot of pillows, if that's what you like.

    « Niece's Wedding »

The whole family stayed at least one night, I stayed 2, for the wedding. They were very accommodating to her, supplying a room for the bridal party to prepare for the wedding and a great room for the after wedding breakfast. My room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, it was quiet. I had a great view from the window, especially at night. Any problems were handled immediately. It's awkward to find the location but worth it in the end.

« Park and Fly Program is the Way to Go! »

Adams Inn is the way to go for those needing to fly out early or arriving in late. Park and Fly program is a handy tool for secure way to stay for a reasonable price for an adequate, clean, friendly Inn.

    « Great value »

The price was great, the room clean and odor free. Being close to all types of services and roads was helpful. Would stay there again. Although we didn't use the restaurant it seemed very nice and we did check out the function rooms which seemed spacious. The outdoor gazebo would be a wonderful place to hold wedding reception. Views from there over the bay were wonderful.

    5
« Exceptional staff and property »

I would definitely recommend my friends here. it is close to everywhere and also close to the trains to get to everywhere. the staff all go above and beyond , they want to know how your stay is and if you are o.k at all times. I feel at home here.

    4
    « Nice Enough »

I chose this hotel because of it's proximity to a friend I made a special visit to, free WiFi, free breakfast and bathtub. Altho the tub being so narrow I didn't feel comfortable using it. However, without a car, there is absolutely nothing in the immediate vicinity other than a Dunken Donuts and Dominos.

« Super place for the price and proximity to airport »

We stayed here at the beginning and end of our road trip holiday. The free airport shuttle being a godsend! Staff are friendly enough and we even got an upgrade on our second stay. The hotel is noisy, there is no way you can ignore it, the walls and are very thin and the doors heavy and loud. It was difficult to sleep but the rooms were spotless and comfortable. Both times we had views of the car park which wasn't particularity inspiring, I would imagine river views are lovely. Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment though there was cereal, make your own pancakes and waffles machines, some hot food and muffins. Weird that everything was on paper plates/bowls. Loved the pub and the pub food on site which was a definite plus and the views out over the river were beautiful. Great deck to sit out on and seemingly a great place to have a wedding (there were two, whilst we were there). Confusing if you are driving there yourself as you come off the bridge and have to turn back and go under it again, signage could be better but it's not the fault of the hotel. Would go back as it is so easy to get into Boston, just a 15min walk to the T terminal. Great place for the price.

    « awful experience »

the room had a horrible stench of smoke. The free breakfast was biscuits and gravy?? really? food horrible i could not sleep all night due to the noise, i called reception but no change. much better service in the summer was awful

    « Great Location »

One would have to know how this hotel is situated in relation to the road as you have to "back around" to get to this place. Worth the price. Good staff. There are many places to eat within 1 mile of the hotel and easy access to the major highways.

« Not bad for the price. »

Room was comfortable & clean. The free airport shuttle was a plus. The shuttle also took us to the Amtrak South Station when we left. It was about a 15 minute walk to the nearest train station which took us into Boston. Breakfast was adequate. We had a meal in the restaurant which was nice apart from the confusion over the handmade chips. Being Aussies we expected thick cut fries not wafer thin chips like you get in a packet. Not hotels fault just different interpretation in different country. All in all nice stay, pleasant staff.

    5
« Great Value and Quality »

Other then need to eliminate their low flow shower and get a/c to cool below 68 degrees f., a fine experience of typical Best Western always quality. Good free breakfast, better than most all others by way of comparison.

« OK hotel, but heating needs work »

The hotel is pleasant and attractive, and the room is a good size. The beds are comfortable, and the wifi is strong. The breakfast is horrible for vegetarians, and the eggs were tasteless (no cheese, fruit, or other options). The heating in the room was awful--either blowing hot or very cold. It was convenient to family, and pleasant, other than the heating and the breakfast.

    « Wonderful Event Planning »

Our family recently gathered to celebrate our Uncle's 100th Birthday. The River Room was beautiful, the staff extremely helpful and the rooms convenient and comfortable for our celebration family reunion.

    « A really good time »

I spent one day in this hotel and would't hesitate to go back. The room was beautiful and clean. You can see a lake right outside. Although it was cold, I can tell this hotel would be very exciting during the summer time as long as the quite time can be extended to about 1pm.

    « A couple problems »

We stayed at the Adams Inn for two nights before a cruise. The prices for Boston hotels led us to book here. We did get a good price. We had several problems, the worst being the beds. We thought we were getting a king but we ended up with two full size beds. No problem. I thought we'd each take one until I sat on one bed. The bed was so hard it was like sitting on a brick wall. There was no way either of us could sleep on it. The other bed was softer but was really 'bouncy' for lack of a better word. Every time either of us moved the other felt it. I don't think we slept at all the first night. The hotel was full so no chance to move to another room. The other problem was that we thought we would be able to take the shuttle to the cruise terminal but of course it was full for all the scheduled times. The lady at the front desk seemed to enjoy informing us of this. It's a small shuttle. I think at most it seats 10. We did take the shuttle from the airport and that worked very well. The driver was quite friendly and brought everyone's luggage in so we wouldn't get wet as it was raining. The hotel restaurant was good and the server was friendly and efficient. Unfortunately the restaurant is near the hotel entrance and I ended up smelling like fried food every time we left the hotel. The breakfast was adequate. Location is pretty good. We walked probably a mile to the train station to go into Boston. Easy peasy. This is an older hotel but it's clean and well kept. There isn't much around the hotel. We had pizza from the Domino's up the street the second night to save some money. I don't think I would stay here again. The beds were just too uncomfortable.

    4
    « Park and Fly »

Very convenient park and fly out of Logan. Quite affordable for parking outside of Logan and shuttle to airport. The long term parking was well worth it. Rooms were pleasant. The bed was quite comfortable. Overall appearance was pleasing and clean. Restaurant on-site was also a nice amenity.

    « Visit at Boston »

Very good staff and service. Well located to visit Boston, metro at few minutes walk and the Red line bring you directly in the middle of Boston city no transfert. Also Hotel is near to airport or cruise terminal by 30 minutes away by taxi cab. Hotel offers also park and fly option.

    3
    « Overall not bad »

Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was quite poor. No pool. Location was problematic: Hotel not close to a T station. Although ad promissed shuttle to the T station hotel informed us its only for arriving/leaving guests. So to get to the city we had to walk about 15 min. in Bostonian weather or drive to the station and park for additional 5$ and then take the T for a 20+ min to the city. Neighborhood not the best. not recommended for walking at night. Hotel's pub very nice.

    « NEVER AGAIN! »

My wife and stayed at the Best Western Quincy to take advantage of their Park, Stay and Travel package. We had a 6:00am international flight out of Logan Airport so staying closer to Logan the night before gave us a few extra hours of sleep. When my wife called to make the reservations a full month before our travel date she also reserved a spot on the 4:00am shuttle to the airport. However, when we checked in the person at the front desk told us we were on the 5:00am shuttle. That obviously wouldn't work (we would miss our flight) but the person at the desk said they had a cancellation on the 4:00am and she booked us for that shuttle. When we went down to catch the 4:00am shuttle there were 14 people, with full baggage, waiting to get on a van designed to carry a number considerably less, maybe 10. And all of who had 6:00am flights so missing the shuttle meant missing their flight. So contrary to the laws of the State of Massachusetts we found a way to cram everyone and everything into the van. People were sitting on top of each other and on top of bags that wouldn't fit in the storage area. At one point on the ride to the airport the driver had to slow down considerably because the van was so overloaded he was having difficulty controlling it on the highway. But wait, there is more? Upon arrival back in the States from our destination we followed the instructions and called for our drive back to the hotel at which time we were told it was a 45-minute wait! This was at 1:00am on a Sunday morning with no Boston traffic, very few arriving flights (the airport was empty) and a 12-minute drive from the hotel for the van driver. When my wife protested the wait along with the drive to the airport the week before the response from the person at the hotel was along the lines ?it is a free ride, I don't know what you are complaining about.? After a 45-minute wait the van did show up and we were brought back to our car. The van driver in both instances did well under difficult circumstances, especially on the trip out to the airport with an overloaded vehicle. As far as the hotel our room was spacious, clean and functional. The room served its purpose, a place to crash before getting up at an ungodly hour for a very early flight. But rest assured, this was the first and last time we take advantage of this hotel's Park and Fly package. Other hotels closer to the airport do a much better job and I would recommend going with one of them over this hotel.

« Poor Airport Shuttle Service »

If you are looking for a stay-park-fly package in the area of Logan Airport (Boston), avoid Best Western Adams at all costs. It has one nine-passenger van that it completely mismanages. When 14 people with their luggage arrived in the lobby at 3:50 a.m. for a 4 a.m. shuttle, we were literally stuffed into the van. Guests were sitting atop one another, and all of the baggage blocked the back window. We were a driving hazard. Hotel staff doesn't acknowledge the Inn's shortcomings. In fact, when you offer feedback, they become defensive and belligerent.

« BW near Quincy, MA »

Near many eateries. Clean hotel. Great location on the river bank, close enough to Boston city center. I would stay here again. Easy to get to coming south on I-93. A little more complicated heading northbound on I-93.

    4
« Just across the river »

This hotel was part of a package deal so we got a good price. It turned out to be a good choice for us. It's just across the river from South Boston in Quincy MA. The trolley picked us up at the front door so we used that two days. We rented a car and did not have to drive IN Boston which even I, as an experienced driver, would not choose to do. The hotel is close enough to walk to the T station. The breakfast was more than adequate; the restaurant for dinner also. The room was quiet, the beds comfortable; the staff helpful.

    3
    « Only ok »

Stayed here as staying in the city was too expensive.Definitely a case of you get what you pay for! For a start the girl on the desk was rude to the point of she more or less said because we booked with hotels.com we deserved the smallest room(cupboard) in the hotel.I have never in all my hotel stays witnessed anything like it! Everyone else in hotel was nice hotel itself is a little tired but fine. Would i stay here again....no purely on the merit of 1 member of staff who really lets the place down!

« Great for a touring visit to Boston »

First off the 'plus' points:- reasonably priced for Boston (!!), property is being upgraded nicely; junior suite accommodation spacious and comfortable; convenient walking distance (10 mins) to the North Quincy 'T' station; adequate breakfasts; pleasant riverside location. We booked a junior suite as it was not much more than the standard room and we expected it to offer pleasant upgrade features. The suite was pretty OK, comfortable and complete but we were less than excited to find that it (and apparently other suites) overlooked the car park and roadway interchange - rather than the beautiful river on the other side of the hotel. Then some 'watch outs' that came up: - The 'T' system is really the best way to get into central Boston. The hotel is at North Quincy about a half hour from Boston. BE AWARE that according to signs posted on the T station doorway to the effect that the station did not function at weekends or on public holidays!! If this could affect you you need to check further before you get caught out. - The hotel's "complimentary shuttle" - last trip of the day to the airport is 4p.m. (16.00 hrs) and no flexibility seems to exist beyond that (taxi to the airport would be at least $50). This is not at all clear on their website but is posted in the hotel - but is just the sort of detail you might leave until the last day... The pick-up from the airport worked for us but I had concerns about being able to contact the hotel on arrival at the airport and the hotel's communications from 'V' were gradually less and less helpful. - book direct with the hotel. We booked initially via Expedia but had related problems at an earlier Best Western hotel which made us decide to cancel the Expedia booking and book direct with the hotel. Our booking was then fine - but we heard 2 separate families, at different times, learn that their Expedia booking 'didn't show up' on the system... Overall a good stay but watch out for these points.

« Very nice room and bathroom, but very noisy because my room was towards the parkingspace. »

Nice stay, The only problem was the noise from the parking where somebody was working. And the noise did also come from the ventilation and the ice machine in the hallway. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. The service was friendly.

    « Close too everything!!!! »

Loved this hotel. Very close too everything, yet not right in the city. Loved that the hotel is right on the water, and the dock that they had. The free breakfast you get every morning is perfect, and very good. The theme of the rooms were awesome, loved the nautical theme.

    « Clean Convenient Hotel »

This hotel was nice. Clean and comfortable. About 1 mile from closest T stop. Parking was convenient. The staff was courteous and the breakfast offered had good options. Our only complaint was some very loud roof work going on at about 8 am. This wouldn't normally be a problem, but we were staying after a concert in downtown Boston and didn't get in until VERY late at night.

    « People »

Staff, from the van driver who picked me up at the airport, to the bartender who made dining easy and fun, the people who work in this Inn are the highest quality. Made this travel stop the best it could be. The food in the pub is very good and the Neponsit Riverway walk, so easy to access, was the icing on the cake. This is a great Inn for the traveler to Boston.

« Nice hotel, if you can find it »

A giant sign tells you to turn left at the bottom of the ramp. Soon after you do that, your GPS says you've arrived. Only problem? You're in front of an office building. Luckily, you can only go one way, and that is to do a U-turn. Now you're back at the giant sign, but where's the hotel? There's a different hotel under the giant sign, and a building that looks like a hotel next to it. But it has no front door/lobby, because it's not a hotel. So you do the "two U-turn" thing around the block again, and again, ..., and again. And finally, you notice that there's a very small building tucked inbetween the other hotel and some restaurant. It has no sign, none. But you've looked everywhere, so you go in, and voila, you've found the Best Western Adams Inn.

« Clean, comfortable and convenient location. »

Stayed here for two night visit to Boston. Hotel is in a convenient location for the railway station and only a 20 minute ride into Boston centre. Hotel is fairly basic but clean and comfortable and a good alternative to staying in the centre of Boston. We had a hire car so this hotel was Ideal as there is ample free on site parking. The breakfast was ok although there wasn't a great choice.

    « Great location »

We stayed at this hotel for three nights earlier this fall. The location is great. An easy walk to the Red Line for transfer into town. We drove to this hotel but never moved our vehicle once we were there. Far easier to use public transportation into Boston. Like other reviews, hard to get to at first. You can see it; but confusing to get there and the GPS a bit too slow to help. The food in the restaurant was great but service a bit on the slow side. The continental breakfast was just OK. No better or no worse than other restaurants of this type. The room was clean; great view of the river. Our key card was a bit challenging. About three different times; it stopped working and we had to go to the front desk. Overall, I would stay there again if in Boston. You can't beat the price for being that close to the city.

    « Cozy hotel »

Very nice staff, clean place. The single double bed was small, I was confused with the description and thought it was a bigger bed. I should have asked for a king bed instead and would have been better for my friend and I.

    « "Great Hotel" »

Being in town for a funeral the hotel was in a very convenient location and provided me and my family exactly what we needed. The staff was great at check in Joshua did an excellent job getting us registered after a long 61/2 hour drive and Kimberly and Valeria was fantastic at checking us out. Great personalities and excellent customer service skills. Thank you guys for making our stay pleasant in-spite the reason for the visit. We also enjoyed the continental breakfast in the morning.

    « Treated well »

We had booked in here via Expedia but found when we got there that our booking had not gone through. They were full, but the staff were terrifically helpful letting us tie up one of their hotel phones for 2 hours trying to get another room through Expedia, who were singularly unhelpful! They even gave us a meal voucher while we waited. We stayed there again later and the rooms were large and comfortable and the restaurant was terrific. They had a shuttle to the airport so even though it was half an hour away it was convenient. The river location was pleasant - almost like being in the country!

« Busy hotel, handy to visit Boston »

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst touring New England. The hotel was difficult to find even though we could clearly see it, as you have go back under the overpass to get to the front entrance. We spent about 15 minutes driving around trying to negotiate the busy traffic before we eventually saw the sign telling us how to get there!! Very frustating. Once we arrived we were quickly settled into room 302. The room was quite large with a very comfortable bed, a good wifi connection, large flat-screen TV, a small fridge and a modern bathroom. The view from our room wasn't particularly exciting as it overlooked a parking lot. Our prime reason for staying here was to visit Boston and we were able to make good use of the train link from North Quincey station which was a 10 minute walk away. We ate in the hotel on our first night and had a very nice meal. After a good night's sleep we had the breakfast. The experience was ok as there was a good selection of hot and cold foods. However, I found it a bit off-putting that the staff had left several jars around the serving area with a dollar bill in - clearly they were soliciting for tips, something that I've never seen in a hotel before. Why don't American hoteliers pay their staff a living wage without them having to literally beg? After a nice day touring Boston and another good night's sleep we checked out and headed off to drive through New England.

« A nice hotel without advertised services »

The hotel is modern and tidy. The dining room, pub and outside terrace were really nice and polished in good conditions. More importantly, the rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Staff was flexible and helpful. Finally, the complimentary airport shuttle was really useful service and the subway is in walking distance away from the hotel. However, there exists some significant problems that lower the points. Unfortunately. The breakfast was the same usual american standard - fast calories with cheap low quality industrial food such as muffins. In other words, not worth to pay a penny and unacceptable in european standards. However, this far away from the city there is not much choices for anything other. Another significant problem was that the advertising information did not match the reality, which is unacceptable. There was no swimming pool nor gym that were stated to be part of hotel facilities. Reasons included for example on-going construction of a new one to different location. These two facilities were also the reasons why we chose this particular hotel! Finally, the immediate surrounding area is not very nice for commuting to Boston center. The subway station is over a mile away and one must walk across busy roads and dirty industrial areas. However, river paths and nearby Wollaston beach are nice areas for walking during sunny summer days. If you are car driver, hotel has fixed the pool and the gym, and the breakfast will be changed to a european style fresh hand-made kitchen cousine, I could recommend this hotel. Many things worked really well. However, we were european tourists walking around the eastern coast cities and looking for something different. All other problems, except the location from Metro station, could be fixed quite easily.

    « Clean »

The facility was very clean. If you are going on a cruise, make sure your reservation will take you to the cruise ship. We thought our reservation included this, but it did not. We had to take a taxi to the cruise ship.

« The small rooms are tiny...... »

We had booked a small room with a double bed, but the room was really really tiny, and the bed was a queensize. There was a nasty smell in the room (like it had been painted) and only a small window that couldn't be opened. We went down to the reception and asked for a bigger room, but the hotel was full, so we had to spend a night in the tiny room, and then we got a bigger room the next day. The new room was spacious and had a nice view of the river. Breakfast was ok with scrambled eggs, sausages, cereals, pancakes, waffles, yoghurt etc. The only thing we missed was fresh fruit. The restaurant/pub was good - we had dinner here two times and all the food was really good. All in all a good hotel if you avoid the small rooms - they are a joke.

    « Bargain near Boston »

This hotel was 20 mins from Boston by T (an easy 15min walk from the hotel) and a fraction of the Boston City prices! This, together with the shuttle to and from the airport and the free buffet breakfast all made it an easy, convenient and affordable choice.

    « Business stay »

Overall, I would recommend this hotel. I travel 48 weeks out of 52, and have stayed in many brand hotels. The restaurant while good food, could use some customer service training. Not a very warm and fuzzy staff

« Below expectation and Way over Priced »

Mouse in the hall! No adequate airport shuttle. The front desk was understaffed so not all on them, management needs to fix what could be a good hotel. Location and restaurant are good, really excellent Clam Chowder

    « Be careful »

We chose this hotel because it was close to the Black Falcon Cruise terminal and advertised a shuttle to and from. Only to be told upon check in that the shuttle was for guests who parked their cars there! We were told if there was room they would take us but it would be best to arrange some other type of transportation - we were also told that we could pay the price for a park and fly room and that would guarantee us a ride to the cruise terminal - we took a cab - $40.00 each way - we could not find this anywhere on the hotels website!

    « Good Service & Value »

We were going on a New England cruise and booked this hotel due to its price, location, shuttle service from the airport and proximity to the 'T" station. Upon arriving at Logan, as suggested by hotel staff, we called to arrange a shuttle pick up to take us back to the hotel. The shuttle took approximately 40 minutes, which is what we were told. The shuttle arrived on time and several others also were picked up and away we went to the hotel through the very hectic Boston streets. Upon arrival at the hotel, our room would not be available until later, which we knew, so they stored our luggage for us and provided walking directions to the "T" station which was an easy, straight 15 minute walk. We explored Cambridge and Boston for the whole day while riding the "T" the whole time. After a full day and early evening of city exploring and taking the "T" back to the N. Quincy station, the Best Western shuttle bus happened to be there dropping off guests and was kind enough to offer us a ride back to the hotel and saving us a 15 minute walk in the dark. Our room was very clean. The internet worked well and we had no problems sleeping. The next morning we ate breakfast in the breakfast room, but it quickly got crowded so we had to eat in the adjacent restaurant. The breakfast was your normal "free" breakfast, which was just fine for us. The staff kept everything stocked when it would run out as they do get busy on weekends. Unfortunately the shuttle bus for the cruise port was full, so we weren't able to get on the early shuttle, so they called us a cab to take us to the cruise port for $35. The manager, Kimberly and her staff were professional, helpful and courteous. We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Adams Inn and would not hesitate to stay again, especially for the prices, shuttle service and proximity to the "T" station into Boston.

« Close to the airport »

Hotel is a older hotel and you can tell it. Shower was a chore to figure out. The door jam looked loose and like someone jimmied the door open before. The 2 double beds were not comfortable. The room was clean. The price is a little on the steep side for what you get. The restaurant was crowded and the food smelled good. We did not eat there because we ate in Boston. The lounge was OK. If I am going to have to pay $230+ for a plain room, I will find another hotel. The staff was friendly.

« Definitely Recommend For Boston! »

The hotel is extremely close to Boston (great economical option!), and they have a shuttle available to bring you to the airport. One of the drivers was nice enough to give us a ride to downtown Boston too! The room was clean and ready once we arrived. The breakfast was alright, nothing fancy, but included in our accommodations costs so nothing to complain about! I have no complaints about the staff or housekeeping - they always tidied our rooms once we left and welcomed us with a smile/gave great advice as to where to go for site seeing in Boston. The hotel is also only a 10 minute walk to the subway station. At first we were a little hesitant to make the walk on our own (as we were three women), but the walk felt extremely safe which was a relief. I would definitely stay here again the next time I visit Boston!

« NICE PLACE AND GOOD PUB FOOD »

We had 20 in our group and really did enjoy the Adams with few kinks. We thought the Pub food was very good and the only complaint is that they are understaffed at the front desk. There was only one man there when we were trying to ck out and pay and store luggage and get everything cleared up. He seemed frustrated and overworked. We walked up to the subway station and on Sunday there is a shuttle bus to go to Kennedy Library.

    « The lsat night »

The shuttle service was wonderful as was the whole night including the fine restaurant. The river walk was a little disappointing but the sunset from the restaurant was world class. Fortunately Joaquin turned right and out to sea instead of ruining our flight home

« Poor service, awful room »

Had a one night stay, basically just needed a place to sleep between flights. I chose this hotel because of the "speedy" airport shuttle mentioned in reviews. When I called, they told me 20-30 minutes. 45 minutes later, I called back and they said it would be "just a few more". Took over an hour, said it was traffic. I understand they can't control lane closures, but a courtesy call to say it would be longer than expected is hardly difficult. Once in the room, the heater wouldn't turn on. I had a cold, so 66 was a little chilly. The pillows on the beds were square, like small couch throw pillows. Uncomfortable. One bed had a comforter and the other had one of those scratchy faux-wool blankets. Had to put them both on one bed to stay warm. The shower was cold and had terrible water pressure. Thin walls. Over all, a terrible experience.

    « Nice River View »

This hotel is not far from downtown Boston where we had the trolley tour. Added attraction to this hotel is the nearby Neponset river. Our spacious room is one with a view overlooking the river. For a reasonable price, our room has flat screen TV,refrigerator, and sofa, free wifi and complimentary breakfast and parking . Although the breakfast was enough with bread and cereals, hot and cold drinks and boiled eggs, their fruits offer is limited only to apple.Ice maker is also available. Although a trolley tour leaves the hotel daily, we booked the other trolley tour. The check-in and check-out was a breeze.

    « Disappointed with Breakfast! »

As this is an expensive town and just had 8 hours to kill before a flight the next morning, I opted to find a hotel with free shuttle service from and to the airport. Although the price of the hotel was a little high, in comparison to other hotels close to the airport, this was reasonable. The room itself was large and comfortable overlooking the river. The gentleman at reception upon check-in was pleasant and friendly as was the driver picking me up from the airport. It was a nice surprise to learn that breakfast was included with my stay. The not so nice surprise was that we had to wait for someone to open the doors to the breakfast area after the 6:30 AM start time. The only hot food that was offered was scrambled eggs. There was no meat. Bacon, ham, or sausage would have been nice. They had one waffle iron and one toaster. With 16 people showing up at the same time for breakfast, you can imagine the delay. There was a handwritten note next to the juice machine letting us know that orange juice was available in the pitcher next to it. There was no pitcher, and when asked for, we were told there was none. That in itsself is a breakfast staple. A little disappointing. The hotel's proximity to the airport is convenient and still a good deal for anyone on a budget.

« Not the Best Western »

Disappointed - have almost always enjoyed stays at properties bearing the Best Western brand, but this one did not live up to expectations. The price tag suggested a higher quality than what was our reality.

« Great stay in Boston »

Stayed at the Best Western Adams Inn, Quincy, Mass prior to boarding cruise up the east coast. Hotel was not in middle of Boston, but, close enough, the value was exceptional. Hotel offered shuttle service which was good, the food in the restaurant was much better that we expected.

« Good value in an Expensive town »

Great location on the outside of Boston, facility is a bit dated and dreary, but on a sunny summer day this could be a wonderful place to hang out. My room was the smallest in the hotel, fortunately I was traveling alone, and while a little cramp it was comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was just that, although the pancake printer was neat, and the pancakes were descent. The rest of the pre-made reheated food was MEH at best. Free internet was good and had descent speed. All in all it was a good value in a town where room nights run 250 to 400 a night.

« Best Western Adams Inn in Quincy is a fine Stop »

The Best Western Adams Inn in Quincy, Ma. is a fine hotel in the Boston area. They have a stay, park and fly option when flying out of Boston, with a free shuttle to the airport. Only about 15 minutes to the airport. They have a restaurant and bar in the hotel.

« A dated Best Western that is better than most in its' class »

We chose this property because it was close to the port where we would be boarding a cruise ship....The motel offered 'free' parking for our vehicle while we were away on a 14 night cruise of New England and Eastern Canada....The front desk service was exceptionally good and the rooms were clean and comfortable....Would visit again when in the area......
