    « Excellent Stay »

Clean friendly and nicely renovated. Stayed 2 nights because we enjoyed it so much. Pool is clean and has a life guard on all day. Front desk staff were helpful and friendly. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant for breakfast. Food wasn't great considering the price was high. Nice and quiet room. Highly recommend staying there even tho it's a ways from old Quebec.

« modern clean comfortable stay »

just a 10 minute drive to old Quebec City - close to many travelers amenities - excellent value for the price - very professional and welcoming staff - beautifully renovated rooms - great beds - quiet - used by many business travelers - great shower

    « Great Hotel »

I love this hotel/ It is clean, modern, and very comfortable. It is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still easy to get downtown if thats what you want to do. I have never had a negative comment about this hotel, and I have stayed there many times

    « Perfect stay »

Very nice hotel. I got an upgrade to a room with balcony because I'm a Platinum with Best Western. The room was small but really nice und the balcony great. No noise even with busy road in front of the hotel. Rooms have fridge so I could bring my own breakfast, because there ist no free breakfast included. Bed was very comfortable. Distance to city center appr. 8 Miles, but never to much traffic. Street Parking was plenty around the Parliament for CAN$6 for 4 hours. Would come back.

« New rooms, very clean, great staff »

A colleague stays at this hotel once or twice a year because of its proximity to the airport as well as our clientele. I only booked it because he always stays there and we were traveling together. It was an overall good experience. The room looked almost brand new, the staff were very pleasant and helpful and the entire hotel was very clean and well maintained. My only issue was that after a business dinner I was looking forward to spending time alone and watching the Stanley Cup playoffs, but my TV wasn't working. The woman at the front desk found a missing wire and a wrong setting and fixed it in no time at all. I would certainly recommend it if out are staying in the area, however, it is sort of in the middle of nowhere. There's a Metro grocery store, a diner, and a few other shops just across the street and then it's pretty isolated if you don have a car.

    « Dependable »

When traveling to Quebec City, the question of where to stay overnight rarely comes up. L'Aristocrate always comes to mind first. It is our favorite hotel in Quebec City, both in terms of quality and value. Over all the years we have stayed here, they never dropped the ball; quite an accomplishment. The recently refurbished rooms are impeccably clean, the beds are very comfortable and the personnel are always on top of things, friendly and attentive. The hotel's restaurant, La Fenouillère, is among the best in Quebec City and our European visitors were as delighted as we were with the food and the refined décor. Access to down-town Quebec is easy via Boulevard Champlain, which offers a splendid view of the St. Lawrence River, and the presence of Queen Mary 2 added a touch of excitement to our extended holiday. « Hotel great but Restaurant very expensive »

This hotel was fairly easy to find, thanks to our GPS. I am not a city person and what with my understanding of French being limited, the road directions being ONLY in French and traffic being extremely busy from Montreal to Quebec City - well, I am thankful for GPS and the driving skill of my husband! The hotel is clean, modern, and situated about 1/2 hour from the centre of town. There is a public (city) bus to downtown and there are SHUTTLE TOURS AVAILABLE which range in price and length. Tackling the parking downtown is Not for the 'faint-at-heart. Our room was comfortable and surprisingly quiet given its location ( it faced the bridges over river but river cannot be seen from here and there is a LOT of traffic in the area). The front desk staff were very helpful once we were able to communicate (tip: if the person does not understand / speak English very well, ask them if you can speak to someone else . They don't take offense when you do so with a smile and it makes for an easier experience all around). We arrived in time for dinner but after perusing the posted men and prices, decided to find dinner elsewhere. The front desk helped with that.

    « The best sleep »

The holtel was very pleasant and comfortable. The front desk stuff was polite and helpful exceptionally. But the reason for writing this review is the sleep. We have been on a one month trip. Most of the days we slept in different hotels but in this hotel the bed was the most comfortable. I wish I had this mattress at home. If someone of the hotel's stuff reads this, please send me the specs and made of the mattress.

    « Excellent hotel! »

Very impressive hotel. Dining Room service, appearance, and food were top notch! Would loved to have been able to stay here longer! Absolutely the best Best Western I have stayed at! Easy location to find, ample parking

« A Modern Hotel with Access to the Old City »

We stayed several days while touring Old Quebec City. The hotel had really modern decor which was a fun change for us. We enjoyed breakfast in the onsite restaurant. The food was really good, as was the service. The thing I most appreciated was the shuttle that went to Old Quebec City. It saved me driving on unfamiliar streets and trying to park the car where there is severely limited parking. That shuttle service was truly a blessing.

« Excellent choice for Quebec City »

Wonderful hotel in excellent location. Our room was incredible very modern and well decorated. The shower was to die for with it's rain showerhead. My Wife and I will be back for sure. The location is perfect if your traveling as you can be back on the major roads in just a few minutes.

« Great place to stay in Quebec »

I have stayed at the Best Western for 2 nights during a trip through Canada, I normally choose Hilton but I must say over the past years the Best Western group has really improved its quality and I have stayed in several really good ones. This Best Western is by far the best though. Located a bit outside downtown Québec you can easily get into the city by car or public transportation which already was a plus. The hotel has a very stylish interiour design and the rooms are also of a very modern and comfortable design. The beds are super comfy. Rooms to the back are a bit more quiet (although one still hears a bit the motorway but I think in a big city area you cant escape noise very well). Staff at the reception are extremely friendly and helpful (I had reserved a deluxe room but had stressed the noise issue and got an email a few days after my reservation suggesting I switch to the standard room instead - with a cheaper rate too ! - as these would be a bit less Noisy. This is what I call good service from the hotel management). The adjacent restaurant is top class for both food and service. If you consider a hotel not situated within the city center this Best Western is certainly a great option)

« Always a wonderful place to stay in Quèbec »

This was my third time here and it was beyond wonderful. It's a beautiful hotel with a great staff and it's a great location. Estelle is the best hotel person ever. She always goes out her way to make my stay the best it can be. I will definitely be back

    5
    « Comfortable and Convenient »

Clean and comfortable hotel. The restaurant "La Fenouillere" is excellent. Nice and helpful staff. Good location, easy to go to downtown Quebec City, shopping malls and also to Levis (Pont de Quebec and Pont Pierre Laporte are nearby).

    5
« Gem off the beaten path »

Lovely hotel, modern decor with great atmosphere. Front desk staff are welcoming and always ready to help out. Gorgeous rooms, all renovated with quality bedding. It felt like a much more expensive hotel. Definitely worth the 4-star rating. Some rooms have a view of both Quebec City bridges. The fall colours made it even more spectacular. We're going back for sure.

« Best Western premier review »

Nice, clean hotel with free parking right off the highway. We stayed here for a family vacation in October. It was walking distance to the aquarium and about a 10 minute drive to lower city. Breakfast was Not included in our room rate, but the restaurant connected to the hotel had great breakfast at a reasonable rate. Would stay again!

    5
    « Nice Stay »

The room was a king size bed and there was plenty of room for us. We ate breakfast in the restaurant and enjoyed it the 3 days we were there. The pool was closed for the season but it looked well kept. I would stay here again.

    « A first class experience »

This is an exceptional property--certainly a "premiere" Best Western (we always have good BW experiences). Very well maintained, very professional staff, very nice rooms. Well-located near key roads to attractions as well as a variety of restaurants (check out Pizzatta) and a grocery store and gas station. Would not hesitate to return here.

    « Not what I expected »

Lobby is nice. There were three staff people behind the counter, one helping a guest. I was left standing there waiting for a quite a bit to check in for no reason until that one staff member that was busy said to help me to the other two. Hallways were dark. The room had an odor like it was stuffy or the carpet needed replacing luckily I had a balcony so I opened the sliding door to get some fresh air. I didn't like the room it looked dated for a premier hotel. The bed was comfortable though. The bathroom was modern but hardly any room to put your toiletries. There is a free shuttle service from the hotel to the Fairmount. It makes a few stops along the way. I expected more from a premier property, it didn't do anything for me.

« Nice hotel but too far from Old Quebec City »

This very modern Best Western hotel is located just north of the Pierre LaPorte Bridge and ideally located to the many highways for travelling around Quebec City. Personally it was just a bit too far from Old Quebec City. I must say that the hotel did offer a free shuttle bus service twice in the morning and returning later in the afternoon twice. The hotel itself offered a gym and outdoor pool and a dining room. The front desk staff were very professional and pleasant and also very knowledgeable of the whole City. The rooms were very modern and clean and offered a small fridge, coffe machine and microwave and the bathroom amenities were very nice. The beds were extremely comfortable and even though close to the highways it was very quiet. A Metro Grocery store is just behind the hotel where there was a full line of groceries or wine and beer and snacks for the room. We did not dine at the hotel so I can't comment on the food but I can say that we ordered 2 coffees in the dining room one morning and was shocked that firstly, the bill was $7.90 before tip and it was the worst tasting coffee (the coffee in our room was much better but we had run out that morning) ever and the waitress was not happy that we only wanted coffee. Overall our 2 days stay was very pleasant and the staff very accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

    5
« Good location, well appointed. »

Stayed here for 2 nights while visiting the Quebec City area. Although it's not downtown, the old town only about 10-15 min away. They also offer a free shuttle. Rooms were well appointed, and the bathroom was very nice. TV was huge. The only downside was the we had asked for an accessible room with a balcony, and they gave us the one furthest from the elevator. We asked for (and received) another room, but the balcony was not accessible.

    5
    « Getaway »

Another trip to the City of Quebec. This was my 5th trip. I plan to return again. The hotel staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. I did not eat at the restaurant this time, but have in the past and the food was always excellent.

    5
    « Super nice hotel »

I have a rule when booking a hotel. Safe. Clean. Quiet. This hotel went above and beyond our expectations. We arrived by cab from the Port of Quebec to the hotel. The front desk was helpful and courteous. They locked up our luggage as it was to early to check in, then assisted us with booking a hop on, hop off bus tour. They have a free shuttle to the Old City of Quebec where we caught the RED tour. The shuttle returned us to our hotel that evening. The front desk called the cab company in advance for our 4am departure to the airport. It worked like clockwork. We could not have been happier.

« High Quality, Nice Rooms and Resturant »

We just stayed one night as we were travelling between Nova Scotia and Toronto, but we intent to return and spend a few days exploring this city. The rooms was very modern and must have been updated recently as the bathroom had a great walk-in shower with rain head. There was a large desk in the room and a small refrigerator to keep items cool. The free internet was secure and very fast. We had the king size bed. it was very comfortable. We didn't try the restaurant at dinner as a gourmet experience was not what we were looking for after a long day on the road. The front desk did recommend an Italian restaurant just a block away.

    5
« High quality affordable hotel with free parking »

We truly enjoyed of four night stay. The hotel was recently upgaded as evidenced by modern bathroom fixtures and amenities. The room we stayed in was a king sized bed facing SE on the second floor. We had a balcony and sat out in the evening. Although situated near the Hwy 73 the hotel is on a bench and we could not hear any traffic noise so the hotel is very quiet with the sliding patio doors closed. The rooms were very clean, the lobby staff accommodated English very well and the staff are very helpful. One significant benefit is the daily free shuttle service to the old quarter. There was no need for a vehicle as the shuttle delivers you from the hotel to the main square in the old quarter immediately adjacent to the Frontenac. Very convenient and a good economic savings to be chauffeured to the heart of the old quarter. The onsite restaurant is four star but pricey. We ate out at several excellent restaurants within 100 m of the hotel. Additional there is a grocery store within 50 m of the hotel. We walked to the shopping district but it's a 5 minute drive with ample parking. A must try restaurant is the le Manior just across the street. The only knock is the absence of an "included" breakfast but the positives of the hotel are so much more than a $6 breakfast. We'd recommend this Best Western to family and friends; and rebook another stay without hesitation.

    « Very nice »

My family of three stayed here 4 nights at the end of August and we would return. Pros: The beds were very comfortable and the rooms clean. Only a few minutes drive down the road from the Aquarium. Two minute walk to local grocery store (Metro). Breakfast is not included so we ate in the room most mornings. Beautiful pool area. It looked small at first but it was really nice and even had a lifeguard one day. All the staff we dealt with were very pleasant. Shuttle bus to/from the old town - allow 30-40 mins since he stops at a variety of hotels. Close to major highways. 5/10 min drive to several restaurants. Cons: The tiny and badly laid out bathroom. It looks very stylish but there's no place to put toiletries and the shower splashes very easily around the glass partition. The rooms were small by North American standards, were much the same scale as European hotels. No breakfast included - that 15% coupon they give you for breakfast in the restaurant doesn't cut it. No on-site laundry facilities. In general, the Pros outweigh the Cons and I would stay here again without hesitation.

    4
    « WELL LOCATED »

This hotel totally refurbished is located near the bridges (Pont Pierre-Laporte and Pont de Quebec). Very easy to reach downtown from the hotel by Laurier Blvd or Centre Videotron by Henry IV Highway. The room is pretty large with a very modern bathroom. Bed were comfortable - not too soft not too hard. Staff is very welcoming and good with the visitors. Pool is pretty small but very clean and warm. Hotel is quiet and not Noisy at all. We do not have any negative comments about the hotel if we except the parking which becomes full very fast. So if you drive there later at night, be ready to walk for at least 5 minutes to reach the main entrance of the hotel from your parking lot. The hotel is wheelchair accessible and they have rooms with roll-in showers but it is necessary to reserve it in advance as they just have a little number of rooms of this type. If you do not drive a car, I suggest you avoid this hotel as it is not located near Quebec City's attractions. Then you should be well advised to reserve a room somewhere else in the heart of the city. The prize of the room was pretty expensive for this kind of hotel but we consider that we were there in August on a Saturday night. There are many other hotels in the same area of Quebec City. Overall we recommend the hotel without hesitation even we consider it was pretty expensive for this kind of hotel.

    4
« An affordable base if you are driving... »

from across the border and plan to visit Quebec City. You can park your car on the complimentary parking lot and take the shuttle to the Old City. We've stayed for 3N and our car was parked all that time while we tour/visit Quebec. No extra cost for the thrice in the morning shuttle to the City and at least one trip going back to the hotel. This hotel was more known to the locals as L' Aristocrate. Wi-fi included with the rates so with the outdoor swimming pool and the always open small gym.

« Second stay here and love it! »

This is a very nice hotel. Close to highway. The rooms are extremely well done, nicely decorated and spacious. The beds are super comfortable. The bathroom is nice as well, but just no where to put your shampoo etc. The hotel staff are welcoming and friendly.

    « Spectacular Suite. »

What a beautiful, very clean suite. Could not find anything to complain about. No dust, stains, dirt or spider webs anywhere. Silk duvet, rain shower with glass doors, jacuzzi tub, king size bed, queen size Murphy bed and a double pull out sofa bed. Large balcony with table and chairs. Would highly recommend with very reasonable rates.

    5
« Nice stay, quiet night »

This hotel is easy to get to just off the bridge from 73N and Autoroute 20. The decor is very upscale. It is conveniently located near the highways to Quebec City and south to Aut 20. The bed was very comfortable. I would stay here again. There are many good small restaurants in the area so if the pricey hotel restaurant offerings are not to your liking then there are other options.

    5
« Best Western Premier Hotel Aristocrate, Quebec »

Overall, the high degree of customer service ensured a very positive stay. The quality of room received for the value was superior to most hotels in this category. I would assign this location 5 stars for customer service, room quality, room value and cleanliness.

    5
« Excellent service, clean well appointed room. »

We checked in late last night with no reservation and obtained a room only because of a cancellation. LUCKY, you bet. The Receptionist BEATRICE was spectacular and so very nice. She deserves a high level of praise. It was the eve of our 51st Anniversary and the hotel gifted us a bottle of champagne to celebrate. So nice of them.

    5
    « Always a pleasure to return »

Staff are great, rooms are comfortable, parking is free. Conveniently located near the bridges and major shopping and entertainment in Ste Foy. Pleasant drive to downtown via Blvd Champlain. We had a king bed that was outstandingly comfortable, with cloud-like king-sized pillows to match. Room was a good size with amenities such a desk, leather chair with foot-rest and an HVAC system that was quiet and easy to control. There were real glasses for drinks and wine. The bathroom was on the small size with marginal shelf space for toiletries, make-up, etc, but lighting was great and the rain shower was amazing. Nice bath towels. staff are completely bi-lingual and very accommodating. We'll return.

    4
    « Great Shower! »

We reserved the room on the fly an hour away from the hotel, and were thankful they had a room. The GPS easily navigated to the front door. As we entered the lobby, I thought it was reminiscent of a modern European hotel. Checkout was completed successfully in English. We rode the elevator to our second floor room and negotiated the narrowish hallway, which again made us think of Europe. I was expecting a European size room by this time. The room was comfortable with very comfortable beds, lots of good pillows, great bedside lights, and a coffee maker. The bathroom was spotless with good water flow, and the shower--did I mention the shower? It had a rain shower head and you could stand under it for much longer than would be environmentally responsible. After surveying the amenities, it was time to turn the thermostat down, as it was a little warmer than we liked. BUT the thermostat only went as low as 20C. This was problematic for us. We like a cool bedroom, and 20C was not going to be comfortable to sleep. We called the desk to ask if there was a problem, and were told that this is the standard for the whole hotel. After emphasizing politely that we would not be able to sleep at this temperature, we were told that they would check with the engineer and call back. 20 minutes later, the room phone rang and we were told that our room was now set for 16C. We had a great sleep, made sure we turned the temperature back up when we didn't need it that low and checked out. During the evening, we drove to the Old City and wandered and had a bowl of onion soup that was hot and delicious, eaten outside while enjoying the soft evening, the street musicians and the strolling tourists. We love Quebec City and we would stay at this hotel again.

    4
« Excellent Front Desk Service »

The hotel is easy to get to when driving and the reception area and staff is wonderful. The interior is a bit dark but very, very clean. The pool is handy and attractive; the fitness centre and business areas are easy to find. The rooms are very clean but a bit small for more than two people. Restaurant service was good and all staff were very friendly and helpful.

    5
« If you want the best, try this hotel ! »

We could not be happier . This hotel was above and beyond , the staff were very courteous and helpful. Everything about this hotel was above average .We had stayed here before and are sure to do so in the future. The hotel is only a few minutes from Old Quebec City and is an easy drive .

« Great stay-Far from Old Quebec but a good location in itself. »

We stayed there on our last night in Quebec City and wanted something close to the highway where we didn't have to pay for parking!! It was an expensive stay but it was rainy and we just wanted something cozy and comfortable. the room was nice and modern and the balcony faced the highway but noise was not an issue- the door was soundproof so traffic didn't keep us awake. Even though it was far from the perks of the city we were able to walk to a nice little pizza place and also get some groceries from a Metro just next door, all within 4 minutes walking distance. We ate on the balcony and had our own wine! We had breakfast the next day in the restaurant attached, nothing fancy but it hit the spot and was priced comparably to other breakfast restaurants. AC was fairly loud, but the only real big complaint is that since we really wanted to use a nice comfy bed and hotel to catch up on sleep before our drive home, the last thing you want is to be woken up at 8:30 by cleaning staff asking you when you're checking out. I found that to be a bit frustrating since we chose to settle the bill at the counter when we physically checked-out, so that morning there would have been no record of us checking out yet and therefore no need to knock on the door at 8:30am. Coffee maker in the morning was a little dated and it was just the packets instead of a real machine but other than that, the hotel itself gave us what we needed.

« Beautiful Hotel but a little too far from Old Quebec »

The hotel and staff were all great the only complaint we had was that it was a little further out than we would like to have been. We took advantage of the free shuttle that the hotel offered but it only ran till 6 p.m. We found after spending all day in Quebec site seeing that it would have been nice to go back to the Hotel to freshen up and then back in to old quebec for supper (thought it was a bit to far to do this). We did enjoy a lovely meal in the Hotel's restaurant it was a fantastic meal but not meant for families which was a little surprising for a Hotel resturant. Over all we enjoyed our two night stay.

« Great location terrific staff »

This was our first visit to Quebec and we were looking for a place close to the old city but really were turned off by the prices there and the lack of parking. The Best Western fit our needs perfectly. Located right off the highways 175 and 73, it is a short 15 minute drive to the old city. Our room was well appointed with very comfortable beds, and well maintained. The entire staff was professional and very helpful. The pool and the fitness c room looked inviting, but because we really did not spend a lot of time on the grounds, we did not take advantage of either (too much to do and see in the city). We would've liked to have complementary breakfast, but a discount was available in the restaurant.

    2
« Great Staff poor building »

The entire staff was great but the building was certainly not the best quality...We were awakened by alarms that were in rooms down the hall..We couldn't help but hear people in the next room...The halls were narrow and dark...Just not a good feeling ...

    5
« The Best Best Western in Quebec City »

If you are traveling to the beautiful city of Quebec and are not looking to stay in the business center but still want to be close; stay here. This hotel is ideally located close to the old city with quick highway access to all points into and out of Quebec City. The hotel staff were very polite and made every effort to accommodate language barriers. The hotel's restaurant menu was limited, however if you like Italian just cross the street. I did not make use of the outdoor pool however it looked inviting.

« Expressing deep appreciation of the staff and services »

I enjoyed staying at your hotel. The staff was very helpful and extremely polite. My room was very clean. Unfortunately, this time I didn't have an opportunity to experience your breakfast quality, postpone it for my next visit. Thank you.

    « Excellent Hotel »

Hotel staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional. The room was really nice and very clean. In short, a great room. The highlight to this stay was the hotels 4 Diamond Restaurant. If you are around this area and want a really great dining experience, this is the place. I will review the restaurant in a separate review. We had breakfast prior to leaving and it was delicious and the service was great. If we go back to this area, this hotel will definitely be include in our visit.

« Far from the maddening crowd »

The folks are the front desk are beyond helpful and of course they speak English. The outdoor pool has a FT lifeguard there, which is not typical for hotel pools! The shuttle to downtown leaves at 3 different times in the morning and comes back at 4 and 6 pm in the afternoon. Definitely recommend taking it. I had a rental car, so was able to find Boulevard Champlain on the river just to the south of this hotel. Definitely recommend using that route to drive into/through Quebec City if you want to return for an evening dinner. All the rooms are nice, but we saw how nice the balcony rooms are, so we asked - and got - one our 2nd night there. Try to get one of those.

    « Some improvements required »

Stayed for 2 nights during 1 month summer road trip. The pros: The facility looks nice and modern, very clean. Extremely helpful and accommodating front desk. The cons: Originally ordered 2 Quinn beds comfort room. The room is too small for a family. Was placed in a room with an electricity transformer few meters out of our window in the parking lot. Got headache. Asked to switch room, but had to spend there a night due to full capacity of the hotel. The day after switched room and added more 10 dollars to get premium room, much better for a family. The hotel located about 9 km from the old town, ok neighborhood, with few restaurants around. There is a shuttle to the old city from hotel (3 shuttles during morning hours) but it has very limited return time (only 18:00), we didn't use it. Also during the noon time there was traffic to the old city (maybe because it was weekend) it took about 20-25 minutes to reach the old city and hard to find parking. Small outdoor swimming pool, water were dirty with some dead insects inside, not really inviting. Small and basic but nice and clean fitness room. The hotel do not offer buffet breakfast, they provide you with 15% discount coupon to their restaurant. For the price (approximately 230 CAD per night including tax) considering the out of city location they should offer complimentary buffet breakfast. Probably it is better to pay an extra and stay in the old city of Quebec...

    « Lovely but..... »

Our family of 4 stayed here for one night on our way back from a Maritimes vacation. Pros: Hotel is beautiful and clean. Very sleek and modern looking. Very comfy beds. Outdoor pool area offers a nice spot to sit or swim. Staff are polite, courteous and efficient. Cons: Compared to other Best Westerns that we stayed in on our journey that had just as lovely, but maybe not so sleek looking rooms.....Here you pay more and got less.... Breakfast was not included. We paid a little more for the Signature room which was supposed to be bigger, however it wasn't any larger that the other Best Westerns rooms with 2 queen beds that we usually get. The washrooms although stunning to look at, lacked space for our toiletries on the counter and in the shower. Ventilation in the bathroom was poor, after we each had our showers our ceiling was soaked from condensation. ( our showers were less than 10 min each!) I understand that location reflects cost as we were 10-15km from Quebec City...however nice as this hotel was, extras that you could get in other Best Westerns came at a premium. A final note and this comment is directed to the corporate level...we were hoping to offset the cost of this hotel by using a $25 off coupon through our Best Western rewards. Unfortunately they email the coupon to you after 2-3 weeks of your last stay. As the coupon does have an expiry date on it for this year, it is useless to me as we are not travelling for the rest of the year after this summer.

    « Spectacularly Clean Rooms »

I've stayed at this hotel 6 times on different occasions and the experience is always the same! Fantastic hardwood/laminate floors in the rooms allow you to walk around barefoot and not feel gross about it. Linens and duvets are high thread quality and heavily bleached. Bathrooms are spotless. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone who values clean hotel rooms and needs something close to the #20 highway...easy on and off. Aquarium is just down the hill. Pricing seems high but the cleanliness of the room keeps me coming back.

« Nice choice, more affordable than in the down town core. »

Stayed at this Best Western for 2 nights in August for a leisure trip to Quebec City. Hotel was fairly easy to find and parking is free and easy. Normally would prefer to stay in the heart of the city but cost for this weekend stay was too high so we stayed a bit further out at the Best Western. The stay was still not cheap, but had great amenities (free parking, free wifi, free shuttle to old town, pool, gym) and is close to the aquarium and highway. We used the pool one afternoon, small and somewhat heated. It was a nice way to spend the afternoon unwinding. We took the free shuttle to the old town - easy and quick and appreciated not having to worry about finding parking - only a few times for pick up and drop off which may not be convenience for some people. The hotel has a few restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance which was nice. We ate across the street at Le Manior (pasta place) and it was lovely. We visited the Montmorency Falls and the Sainte Anne Canyon during our stay both were easy to find and very touristy but well work a visit.

« Clean, comfortable and inviting. »

Very courteous staff at a very clean, comfortable hotel. The beds were super comfortable and the decor of the rooms was very pleasant. We enjoyed our stay very much. It was not far from Old Quebec City and fine dining in a safe area. Would highly recommend this lodging.

    « Fabulous Hotel »

Our stay was excellent. Your staff were helpful, friendly, courteous and polite. There was a shuttle bus to Quebec City which made travelling around so much easier. It was a large group of us and the hotel was very accommodating.

    « A Lovely Place to Stay! »

This is a lovely and plush hotel, but a little far away from the Old Town. The services were nice and the rooms were updated and plush. I loved how the staff were very professional and courteous! Unfortunetely, there was no breakfast included.

« Great choice when Visiting Quebec City »

This hotel was a great choice for us. Very welcoming and friendly staff. The beds were comfortable and the rain-style shower was very nice-- especially for my very tall husband. We loved the hotel's location. It allowed us to experience a bit of Quebec as locals. Because breakfast was not included and the restaurant adjacent to the hotel was not appropriate for our children, every morning we ventured out into the hotel's neighborhood for breakfast. There is a Metro supermarket within a 3-minute walk from the hotel. There is a wonderful French-style Bakery--Au Palet D'Or-- within a 15-minute walk (see review).

« Very comfortable and clean »

I loved it here. Very comfortable and clean especially the bed and pillows (5 stars to that). Being Quebec City most people speak French but the staff at the reception were eager to help out in English. I give this upmost importance because as a tourist one cannot rely on French being the lesser spoken language worldwide. Free parking, pool (which I wish I had time to use), pretty central with a mall a few blocks away and one can easily drive to the main town. However no shuttle bus available which would have been a bonus to visit the main town without having to use our car, park etc. Fridge didn't work well either ... Wasn't cold enough!! Bathroom door was tricky to lock which never managed from the inside - the first time it locked itself from the outside. I was upset about this because what if someone had a child in there and the door locked itself creating a very panicky situation?! Must be reviewed!!

    « No complimentary Breakfast »

Great Hotel, great staff, great everything except no complimentary breakfast and breakfast was a little over priced with no to much food. Other than that, great hotel and close to everything. Easy access to Old Quebec. Just find a good place to park and your set. Hotel shuttle was very helpful.

« Nice, clean hotel with easy access to all points. »

Stayed here as a family of four for three nights. We used hotel as a base to travel and explore Quebec City area. Price was decent but a little high - understandable for tourist season. Rooms were very clean and I loved the wood floors instead of carpet. They were however a little cramped with the four of us as they are on the small side. The front desk staff were always friendly and courteous. We had breakfast one morning at the restaurant. It was a nice breakfast but important to note that it is not included in the room rate unless you book a package that includes breakfast. Overall a good hotel in a great location to access Valcartier, Old Quebec, Aquarium and shopping area.

    « A chic retreat ! »

We really enjoyed out stay here during a road trip from Toronto. The hotel has a modern outlook as you walk in, with courteous staff and easy parking options. The small outdoor pool is perfect to splash about during the summer months but unfortunately did not have the time to enjoy this amenity. The rooms similarly were clean, spacious and complete with chic interior designs. The bathrooms were well equipped and we found it comfortable overall as we travelled with our 2.5 yr old very spirited toddler! The location was fine, just a short drive away from the Old city center and located in a residential area. Did not eat at the restaurant. Would love to stay here again!

« Very good trip to Quebec & nice Hotel »

It was nice hotel on the trip of Quebec city, Quebec. Excellent Room services, good Breakfast. nice pool but they should open for more hours. They got good amenities.good showers easy parking. not far from downtown it about 20minutes drive.

« Wonderful Staff made this visit a pleasure »

The hotel is outside of the city center but has courtesy bus service into Place d' armes where the Tourist center is located. The hotel decor is modern and very clean looking. But the best thing about the place is the front desk staff who were always so pleasant and accommodating. The Restaurant is expensive but the food is excellent and they did have a very good promotion for Hotel guests.

« Excellent Location and Service - Like New! »

We LOVE the location of this hotel. Auto routes are easily accessible. The shuttle to Old Quebec is a wonderful service offered, even though we didn't take advantage of it during this stay. We enjoyed cycling along the river to Old Quebec and the paved bicycle path is very close to the hotel. We were thankful to be able to store our bicycles inside the hotel with the assistance of the front desk agents. We LOVED the walk-in shower and the overall decor of the room. The tree applique on the door was a great addition. We will definitely choose this Best Western again when visiting Quebec!

« Restful stay with one more day left to end a 12-day Maritime road trip.. »

Already tired from a 7-hour drive coming from St. Andrews, NB, and just looking forward to a restful night prior to one more day's drive back to Toronto. And BW Premier exceeded it all. This hotel is 5-star from check-in, to room comfort and furnishings and location, including applying the Points Reward of U$50 (courtesy of Roger Michaude) towards our bill, as an adjustment against the hotel bill, two days post-stay at hotel. Will not hesitate to stay in this hotel, over and over.....

    « Premier experience »

Wonderful wonderful hotel. Use them when ever you can. Amazing staff. Clean rooms. Very comfortable beds. Will stay there when ever we travel again. Can't be beat for the price we can afford. Thanks for making our trip stress-free.

    « Excellent hotel »

We have been staying here this week......rooms small but very comfortable and the finishing second in the room are very nice. Great showers! The pool is very nice with a Life guard. Free shuttle to Vieux Quebec.

    « Excellwnt hotel »

This hotel is very comfortable, reasonably priced and accommodating. When we arrived we checked into the hotel and were greeted by helpful staff. The room was small but cozy. Beds are very comfortable with a nice duvet cover and plush pillows. Very clean and modern! We were very pleased that they offer a free return shuttle to the Old city! The free coffee and tea was nice as well. The outdoor pool looked lovely but unfortunately the rain kept us indoors. Wish they had a hot tub so we could warm up after our day in the rain! I would definitely stay here again!

« Excellent out of town base for visiting Quebec City ....... »

You are 10k out of the centre here but the drive in to car park at city walls is a doddle and the hotel does provide a shuffle although this is limited in times of operation. That being said it is an excellent base to visit the city from. Your day can start withan excellent breakfast in the very plush restaurant - a French "fine dining" place in the evening, whatever that means! One small gripe is that as this is open to the public, even for breakfast, you can get a voucher from reception which gives you 15% resident reduction - if, however you forget to pick this up staff don't ask or remind you which seems a bit petty. The rooms are large, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Plenty of free car parking After your day wandering the streets of Quebec you can relax by the small but adequate outdoor pool. Staff were friendly - even to non-french speaking Englishman - very efficient and professional. Plenty of restaurants nearby - would recommend the Michael Angelo - pricey perhaps but a great experience and wonderful food. Oh, and the Aquarium is just some 500 yards away and worth a vist. Would recommend this place and if ever back will use again.

    « Nice Clean Hotel! »

This is the first time I have stayed at a Best Western Premier. I was impressed with the lobby staff. We had a room with 2 queen beds. Although it was very nicely decorated, it was a little tight for me and my two children. Only real disappointment was that breakfast was not included. There is a shuttle to downtown but it only ran at 8:45 and 9:45am and returned at 6pm. This schedule did not fit into our plans so we drove in and it was only about a 15 minute drive. We enjoyed Le Manior across the street for dinner one night.

    5
« Stay at this Hotel to enjoy Quebec City »

No need to stay in the downtown or Old Quebec area as they have free shuttle. Do yourself a favor & try this Hotel. You will not regret it & you will also have free parking. All the management & staff are a class act.

    5
    « Excellent Hotel »

This hotel was located conveniently near the Pierre Laporte bridge - easy when arriving and leaving the city. The rooms were very clean & staff, helpful. The shuttle into Old Quebec was very convenient. However, the hotel should have a better way of judging the number using this service so an adequate number of buses will be provided. There are several good restaurants nearby; Le Manoir is excellent. The hotel restaurant has good ratings too, but is pricey. We enjoyed our stay here and will be back. The wifi is good, but could be more consistently reliable.

    « Best Western Aristocrate Quebec \\City »

We have stayed in many hotel in our travels and we rank this as one of the best. Great location, great service by the staff. Rooms are excellent and very quite. Restaurant was also excellent with very good variety of foods to select from. Service was as expected Excellent.

    « Great experience ! »

It's always a pleasure to stay at the Best Western L'Aristocrate in Quebec city ?. Everything is great ?.. The 4 diamonds restaurant in the hotel, the beds, (mattress) the room , the staff at the reception desk, the pool in the summer ?.. It is a very good value ??

« Very good stay, clean rooms! »

I stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights as I was travelling on the way to/from Ottawa. The staff were friendly and spoke English (which I'm sometimes nervous about when travelling to Quebec) and the rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. No carpet in the rooms which would be good for people with allergies. Parking is free and convenient. My only complaint is the quality of the wifi (it is free) but it was extremely slow and dropped often. I don't believe there was an option to pay for better/faster wifi, which I would have considered if it were offered. I would certainly stay here again but I hope the wifi issue is addressed.

« Hotel stay for four adults. »

Liked: Free WiFi, Free shuttle service to downtown Quebec City. Great water pressure in washroom. Great service (Reception and Housekeeping). Excellent Food at the Restaurant. Mini fridge in room. Disliked: No fan in washroom. Toilet backed up twice. The room was snug for four adults. Carpet old and stained. Noisy AC. The long narrow dark corridors to the room.

« Best Western Premier Hotel Aristocrate, Quebec »

Liked: Free shuttle to Quebec City. Free Wi-Fi, Great water pressure in washroom, Comfortable beds. Front Desk Service. Mini refrigerator in room. Noisy AC. Disliked: Washroom lacked a fan. Carpet was stained and old. Room snug for four adults.

« Air Conditioning Ruined it for Me »

This hotel is very nice in appearance, nicely decorated and the staff is top notch. The room was lovely but small which wouldn't be a problem if you weren't sleeping in the bed right next to the air conditioner. My friend took the other bed so I was directly next to the thing. It was freezing though my friend was comfortable in the other bed. The cold air was blowing right in my face. I woke up with a sore throat. The next night I blocked it with pillows which turned out better. Breakfast in the restaurant was very good. I tried hard to enjoy my stay but didn't because I froze the whole time. Also the refrigerator made an electronic noise in the night which sounded like a truck backing up. Fortunately, I found the switch which turned it off.

    5
    « It has everything! »

We stayed at the hotel en route to Toronto. The location was great - very close to the highway but an easy drive into the downtown area. The room was super clean and appeared to have been recently renovated. The bed was fabulous - so comfortable. The bathroom was great - everything was new and a wonderful free-standing shower. Breakfast wasn't included with our room but prices were reasonable, the food was good and the place was lovely. We're scheduled to stay here again on our trip home.

« Our Best Western Premier experience ! »

On May 27th. We checked in at this location and it was the the worst Best Western we ever stayed at. They gave us a room next to the few other rooms that has theirs bachelor party that day! The front desk assured us that they had been warned and they won't make anymore noises. I was impressed how quiet it was until 3 o'clock in the morning there was screaming yelling... Until 6am. I told the front desk what happened. All she said (did you get up from your bed and reported it)! Then at that same moment I been told that the breakfast is not included! I asked to speak to the manager and he is not available she gave me his business card. Instead of asking her manager to call me and follow up!

« Excellent Hotel and High Value »

Very nice hotel. Easy to find and very convenient to get to old Quebec from this location. Staff helpful and friendly. Restaurants, groceries all very close. Room modern, clean and very comfortable. Would plan on staying at this location again when returning to Quebec.

    5
    « Great stay »

Clean hotel friendly staff, i would go again. Nice pool. There was tv and wifi just what we needed for our one night stay. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom has a really modern look and it was very clean. We were offered to eat at the hotel's restaurant with a 15% off.

    5
    « Great »

Definitely the best Best Western I have stayed at, and probably in the top three of hotels I have stayed at ever (the other two being 5-star hotels paid for by someone with deeper pockets than mine). Clean, quiet, and very comfortable, with updated features throughout the room. Friendly bi-lingual staff was there to help me with whatever I needed. Location not optimal for seeing old Quebec city, but the bus is very conveniently located nearby. No breakfast? Wasn't a deal-breaker for me, anyway. My only complaint is the window AC unit - which is always a bit louder than central air, but this one was relatively quiet for a window AC unit.

    « I'll be back! »

This hotel is the one I go to whenever I go to Quebec city. It is clean and quiet and the service is excellent. There is also free parking and Internet. It is far from the Old Quebec, though, but it is easy to get there by bus or by car (about 30 minutes). It is close to the bridge and the aquarium. Many excellent restaurants and nice shopping malls are nearby.

    5
    « Clean. Quiet. Comfortable. »

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel during our recent trip to Quebec City. The staff was very professional and welcoming. Our room was excellent - VERY clean and well-appointed. The hotel is located about 10 minute drive from the Old City and they do have a free shuttle between the Old City and the hotel; however, we didn't use it cause we decided to use our own car instead. There is a nice restaurant at the hotel with very good food and reasonable prices. We will definitely stay at this property again!

    5
    « The Best »

Aristocrate is one of the best hotel in Québec , staff are exceptionnaly friendly and competent. I recommend to all if you like quality and restfull place this is the place to be. Plus restaurant is a top quality also.

    3
« Comparative good price, but............ »

The motel is relatively easy to access and the rooms were excellent. However, there was no complementary breakfast included and some of the staff seemed condescending and stuffy. We had just driven in from Charlottetown, PEI and were tired, so perhaps our patience threshold was minimal, but the interface seemed like it could have gone better.

    5
« Great hotel great location »

Once again, hotel lived up to expectations and "aristocrate" name sake. Quick highway access. Easy parking, quick check in check out. Welcoming pleasant staff. Much needed coffee to go when hitting the road.

« 2-day trip to quebec city from ottawa »

Excellent hotel with very friendly staff. Very clean & well maintained with good facilities in the room. The hotel has a shuttle bus running 2 trips to old city & back. Very conveniently located to visit other attractions like the waterfall & the aquarium. We would love to come back & stay in this hotel again.

    5
    « very helpful staff »

We had booked this Hotel, but somehow got the date wrong (one day later) and the hotel was full. They assisted us in finding another place and let us use their wifi for our search. It was a long weekend so all the places were full. Thanks to the caring staff we found a solution. If this is how they treat people who have to cancel, the service for the staying customers must be great.

    5
« trip to Quebec City »

Great hotel and very helpful staff!! Veronique was so kind and helped us out so much! We did not want to stay in the "busy" part of Quebec City. Hotel is only 6 miles from city hall and a lovely drive to get there.

    5
    « A treasure in Québec city »

This hotel is in Ste Foy but is well worth staying at even though it is off the beaten path. Excellent rooms, professional staff, warm welcome! You have a really good restaurant annexed to the hotel and gourmet dinner is a few steps away.

    5
    « Easy Access & affordable »

The Aristocrate is easy to find once across the Pierre Laporte Bridge. The rates were very reasonable, nice dining room for breakfast. We also had a balcony - so - on a nice day a great place to read the paper and have a coffee before starting ones' day.

« A very nice place to stay near Quebec City »

From check in to check out, the service was flawless and very courteous. The hotel is clean, quiet and well appointed. It's also conveniently located, easy to find close to the bridges from the south shore. On the downside, I'm not sure how the breakfast discount worked - upon reviewing my bill, I cannot find it. A very good touch and much appreciated was a rather nice little wooden chest conveniently located in the restaurant, containing an array of reading glasses, each labeled with its strength and each in its own container. That attention to detail is much appreciated. There is a well equipped fitness centre and an outdoor pool, empty at this time of the year.

    5
    « Very comfortable »

Usually I do not sleep that well in hotels for a short stay but this time is was different. The bed and the pillows were so comfortable. The hotel has also a very good restaurant, the only negative point being that it opens late at 7h. The hotel is well located, near the shopping malls (by car) and the bridges. I will certainly return to this hotel.

    5
    « Best Hotel Ever »

This is the second time I've stayed at this Best Western and it has been a great experience each time. It's a beautiful hotel and it's very reasonably priced. And Estelle is absolutely wonderful. She helped me out so much when I was there and she even ordered food for me. That is going above and beyond. And the location is great. I will definitely be back again.

« Great hotel just outside of Quebec City »

My wife and myself recently planned a weekend getaway to Quebec City. After looking for places to stay outside of the city we decided to try the Best Western Premier Aristocrat. We arrived at 1:30pm, which was well before the 3pm check-in time. The person at the front desk could not have been more professional and courteous. She promptly checked us in and also helped us plan our afternoon in Quebec City. The room was very clean but are a little on the small side. But this is really the not an issue. The bed was extremely comfortable and provided a great night sleep. The hotel is about 10 minutes to downtown by car. Overall this is a good hotel for the price. Staff is very helpful and friendly, rooms are clean and the beds are great. The only issue we found is the noise from the hallway can be heard inside the room. So we kept our IPod on to help in that respect.

    5
    « Buisness stays »

beautiful hotel, so really clean, good staff, lot of good restaurant around and many kind of. always clean the service is personal they remember me and the kind of room I use, I suggest this to all of you, I spend my lifa at hotel and this one is so far the best I ve stayed in !

« Nice floors, good location, great sleep »

The location is easy to access from the highway and is next door to a grocery store. Our room on the first floor had wood laminate floors with a few rugs. We liked this type of floor as the carpets in most hotels always feel dirty. This room felt so clean The heat in our room was on a separate system from the AC so there was no noisy fan when running the heat. In fact the room was very quiet and we slept well. The bathroom was a little small but well laid out. The water pressure was strong, hot water was nice and hot, and the shower was great. The TV had a selection of English and French stations. The room had fast internet and a comfortable work desk with rolling office chair. Lots of lights and lamps. On the floor was a food station that had free Nesspresso and Kureig coffee, along with some other snacks and drinks for sale. I'd stay here again.

    « Weekend in Quebec »

Nice place to stay for a weekend. Rooms small but functionnal. Very small bathroom...modern but not functionnal. Nice hotel did not use the dining room but choice of menu excellent. Good service and easy access to city and bridges

    5
« Always a great place to stop »

Everything about this hotel is excellent. From the moment of arrival to your departure, you are well cared for. The cuisine in the restaurant is well about above average with a very professional service staff. Wise to reserve ahead of arrival at both the hotel and the dining room.

    4
    « Great nights sleep »

very nice for family. Clean, good beds... Stayed one night. Warm welcome and quick check-in. Room was spacious and very clean. Free wifi which worked well. Breakfast was acceptable. Check out hassle free. Free parking lot.

    « service good »

The attitute of reception is pretty nice, our room is clean and tidy, the breakfast is also tasty, my son said he like it, and this hotel gave us a good impression. If the price can be lower, this gonna be better!!!

    « Amazing staff »

Every time I show up at this Hôtel the staff is very welcoming and friendly. Estelle remembered my name and they all have this smile and sharing this positive energy. Thanks to L'Aristocrate for this feel at home attitude.

    5
    « Very Nice Hotel »

This is a high quality hotel, located just on the outskirts of Quebec City. If you are not into the hustle and bustle and crowded streets of the downtown area, I highly recommend this location. It is only a 10 minute drive to major Quebec City attractions, and far enough away that you won;t get stuck in traffic getting to and from the hotel. This is one of my favorite Best Western Hotels

    5
« Top notch classy Best Western »

Amazing nights sleep in a superb bed with great pillows and linens. Walking distance from the train station in Sainte-Foy. This hotel looked great inside and out and my room was well laid out and comfortable and had little extras like real glassware and wine glasses, bottled water and all the amenities I could wish for.

    4
    « Perfect for a quick stay »

This was a quick business trip but I am happy to have tried this hotel. My only complaint was that there were not many in room meal options, other than that the stay was perfect. The staff had no issues speaking English and they were really very nice. Rooms were extremely clean and the showers were very relaxing waterfall style showers. This will be my new go to QC hotel.

    3
« Motel is nice, but far from everything and bar/restaurant is too snobby for us. »

We were there for a weekend to browse QC and enjoy the amenities of this hotel. The first night we decided to have a drink at the bar and have dinner there, but they completely ignored us after having paid 35$ for a gulp of cognac and a drink. After that, they would not serve us anymore, so we decided to go next door and get some pizza which is a small walk away. Hotel was nice though and service was very friendly.

    5
    « Business Stay »

Great quality/price. This was my second time staying at this hotel and I was not disappointed. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and it had everything I needed. The Best Western Premier Hotel L'Aristocrate is easy to locate and to access. The restaurant is awesome if you do not plan on leaving the building for diner.

« Great Stay for family of 6 »

We checked in the day after staying at Hotel de Glace. What a change! The staff was really helpful with information about places to eat and how to get around Quebec City. They would take out a map and actually show you how to drive to each place. I really studied a lot of hotels, we needed 3 rooms with king beds and private bathrooms, that didn't cost a lot per room. This hotel fit all our expectations. The only thing they didn't have was complementary breakfast but they really nailed it on the other factors. The location was really great and with the help from the staff we got the hang of driving around. I would stay here again and yes I would recommend this to my family and friends.

    5
« Value for our Dollar »

We stayed one night at this best Western and paid the price of a much lower quality hotel. The check in was friendly and efficient and the room was spotless. My only inconvenience about our hotel room was that it did not have a bath. I did not request a bath at the time of the reservation and I reserved last minute, so I did not feel the need to complain about it. I know that the hotel does offer rooms with baths, because I have stayed here before. The price was paid was $30.00 cheaper than the hôtels that offer a free breakfast, so we went down to the hotel restaurant and ate our breakfast and it was much cheaper than the $30.00 we would have paid.

    5
    « Comfortable and pleasant »

Our fourth stay here. Staff are pleasant and facilities very good. Well situated next to the bridges so easy to get to. Restaurant has a very good cuisine. Building is well maintained and clean. We enjoy this stop when driving by Quebec city.

    « My favorite hotel »

Great staff. Close to every highway. Easy to drive everywhere. Beautiful rooms. Very comfortable. There is a nice exercise room which is very convenient. Little detail: many tv channels available. This is my go to hotel whenever I'm in Quebec City. Also, great little italian restaurant and a grocery store walking distance

« Perfect hotel outside of town »

My wife booked this hotel while we were driving to Quebec city. The hotel is located outside of the city and it was perfect location. Excellent service, the restaurant attached was great and the rooms were comfortable and the price was just right. we would definitely return

    « Great stay! »

I took my family of 4 (kids are 15 and 13) for three night stay over new year and it was great. Rooms are clean and cosy. Our beds were very confortable. Good wireless access and tv as well and a convenient bathroom! We had breakfast at the restaurant and we liked it. The only caveat is that there is not much to do for young kids if you do not go out. This hotel is also well positionned near highways to get downtown in 10 min.

« Nice Hotel For Our Short Stay »

Booked this property for a one night stay during a roadtrip from Ontario to the Maritimes. Very nice property. Room had a very comfy king-sized bed and the bathroom was very modern. Great rainfall-style glass enclosed shower! Free parking and on-site restaurant looked very nice although we didn't try it. Easy access from Hwy 20 across the Pont du Quebec and easy to get back to the Hwy to continue our journey. While there, we visited the nearby Aquarium and it is wonderful - highly recommend!

    « Excellent location »

This hotel is well located to explore Quebec City and the restaurant offers great food. Nicely decorated large rooms. We were 4 adults and the room was large enough to accommodate us including a sitting area and a nice terrace overlooking the Quebec bridge.

average hotel room. bathroom was very nice with nice walk in shower with "rain shower" rooms are small but clean.our room had a patio sliding door was kinda nice but had to keep it closed with black out curtains because the patio door goes to the parking lot! Very annoying to have some guy coming back at 3 am high beams shining in your room

« Quebec City BW Premier »

Excellent Hotel. Very Modern facilities. Rooms are large and very comfortable. The bed is comfortable. Shower is great with the large waterfall shower head. Overall this is one of the best Best Westerns I have stayed at, and I have stayed at a lot of them. Although the hotel is a bit out of the way, I will definitely stay at this hotel on all of my trips to Quebec City.

    « Would highly recommend »

Came to town for personal reasons, booked for two nights and stayed for five. This place suited me very well. The room was very comfortable, bed was great and everything was spotless. Little mini fridge, lovely fluffy towels. Wine glasses, ceramic cups. Small but adequate exercise room. Super location close to major arteries. Free parking. Staff was always friendly and helpful (and I dealt with a number of them over 5 days). I almost always need earplugs at hotels but I didn't need them here. I heard nothing from surrounding rooms or the hallway and the heating system was absolutely silent. It was very peaceful. They have a restaurant but I didn't eat there. The price was also reasonable. In comparison to other Quebec City hotels, I found it very well priced. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and will recommend it to others.

    « Best hotel ever »

I always have a warm welcome at L'Aristocrate and I'm entiled to happy personnel always smiling and very courteous. I recommend to everyone this great experience of the historical Quebec culture. Warm greetings and very restfull stay, nevertheless, service is at the top priority and restaurant has one of the best food around. Enjoy your stay and you will quick be a regular to this place

    « It's all about people »

There is no lack of good hotels in town, but we always end up at l'Aristocrate when we want to soak up some of that infectious joie de vivre that is so characteristic of Quebec City. Comfortable and beautifully renovated, the hotel is conveniently located right off the bridges, the major highways and a scenic parkway along the St. Lawrence River that takes you right into the heart of Old Quebec within some 15 minutes, yet it is the personnel that is their greatest asset. They know that it's all about people, and they don't hesitate to go the extra mile to accommodate guests and to make us feel at home. Over the years, they have maintained an astonishingly high level of service, at affordable prices, all of which places them in a class by themselves. « Good hotel but a little expensive »

We stayed there one night. It is a standard hotel of good quality, clean, and easy access from the highway. Bed is too soft for me as I like to have a good support for my backbone, but is comfortable enough. Free parking and good WiFi. We didn't eat in the hotel, we found very good Japanese restaurant not far away so I can consider it as a good location :) But hotel is a bit expensive, so I recommend it as long as you like a small comfort and you are willing to pay for it. It is a bit far from center of the city, so you will need a car to go there and additionally pay for parking in the city.

    « Nice place »

The hotel is really nice. It has a fresh new feeling to it. Close to good restaurants and places to see. The one down side that comes to mind is the thin room door. If any big conversations going on in the hallway, you'll definitely know all about it...

Really nice modern and comfortable hotel. Fast internet, excellent lighting options in the room and bathroom. Great service in both official languages. Comfortable bed with lots of pillows. Breakfast was average.

    « Modern and Clean »

Stopping in at the last moment here was a great surprise! From the price to the funky decor, this was a great place. The reception was bilingual and offered us all the information to our questions. The pool was super clean, as secluded.... nice touch! This hotel was about 25 minutes from the heart of Old Quebec. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

    « A weekend away »

We were satisfied with the room. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Hotel was well located and several restaurant nearby. We had a fabulous breakfast at a place called Cosmos on Laurier Blvd. The breakfast at hotel was ok...better at the cosmos. I would stay there again.

    « Great Value »

Very pleased with my choice to stay here for 1 night in Quebec City. Very clean, quiet, and attractive place. The front desk personnel were quite busy, but kept a positive attitude. They were accommodating to hold on to our luggage after we checked out to allow us to enjoy breakfast. A definite recommendation.

« Very nice hotel outside of the city »

We stayed here just for 1 night and had a pleasant stay. We thought it would be so far out of the city, but it wasn't so bad, just about a 15 minute drive to Old Quebec taking the scenic road by the water. The room was small and dark, but very comfortable and the bathroom was especially pretty and spa-like! We didn't use the pool, but it looks well-kept, although small. The best feature, is being right by the bridge to exit Quebec city so quickly, and without traffic! I would recommend for a quick stay, otherwise stay closer to downtown.

    « good hotel »

Nice hotel, good location for exploring the area, room was quiet and comfort. I didn't care for the food in the room that you had to pay extra for. I wish that they did a free breakfast buffet that most Best Westerns have.

« Thanksgiving weekend in Quebec City. »

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. Beautiful, modern rooms with very comfortable beds and shoothing rain shower. Clean and quiet hotel. Each room has its own little fridge and coffee/tea maker BUT be careful when you use water bottle and snacks ( like almonds or peanuts ) it will cost you $3.50 each! There is only one complimentary water bottle on your night table. That was a little bit disappointment! At the hotel we stayed for dinner and we were hoping to have a traditional turkey dinner but you won't find turkey or chicken on their menu just steak, pork, fish or deer medalions. Too bad we did not view the menu before making the reservation. When you travel with kids this is not a good place to eat. Hotel is about 30 min drive from the Old Quebec or the hotel provides a shuttle bus free of charge. Parking is great, we park our car just in front of our room. We had a great stay in this hotel!

    « Everything but location »

The staff was very helpful, including booking a next-day city tour for us which we could not do online. The bed was a little soft for us, but we like a very firm mattress. The hotel in general was just fine. My only suggestion is that if you want to visit the Old City mostly and not do a lot of driving and not have problems parking, then you should book a hotel much closer, if not inside, of the Old City. You really need your own car to stay at this hotel.

« My husband and I spent the night before going on a cruise the next day. »

We had a positive experience from the time we checked in until we left after a delicious breakfast the next morning. The ladies at the desk were very helpful and assigned us a beautiful room with a patio. We especially enjoyed the comfortable bed and shower. We will stay at Hotel Aristocrate when we visit Quebec City again. It is a short trip to the airport, which is important for us.

« Nice Property outside of Old Quebec »

This was a lovely property. The exterior, the lobby areas and the room were all really nice. The staff was friendly and spoke in English, which was helpful. The room size was definitely adequate and it had a refrigerator, but not a microwave. There is a small grocery store right behind the property that I found very convenient. I had selected this property because although it was outside of Old Quebec, there was a shuttle provided to and from Old Quebec and the hotel. The only bummer was that it was really only once a day...it left in the morning and returned in the early evening...5pm or 6. Unfortunately, that time frame didn't fit my planned schedule and I had to drive into Old Quebec myself; getting there was a straight shot and relatively easy, getting back was far more difficult and confusing. I wished I had been able to use the shuttle as I planned. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

    « Convenient Efficient Overnight »

After a day of meetings the hotel is conveniently located at Quebec's major highways. The rooms are efficient and modern. While the bathroom seems small at first sight, it offers all for a comfortable stay. The restaurant is excellent, but also expensive, not quite a match for a typical Best Western. The wi-fi needs improvement, it was very slow.

    « Quebec city visit »

Stayed three nights at this hotel. Close to some eateries and shopping. We tried to get three nights but room was only available for the two nights upon booking. Did get the third night though but had to pay more for some reason.(Wednesday night??). Took bus tour the second day. We were picked up at the hotel, which was nice, and took a free shuttle back. Front desk staff were very nice and helpful. Dining room was very expensive and had "different" menu. Never ate there so can't comment on food.

    « An aristocratic night »

very very nice hotel, well located with great staff, their restaurant la Fenouilliere for dinner is out of this world experience. Breakfast, not so much. Rooms are big, calm, up to date and nicely decorated.

    « excellent hotel »

A great place to stay. The shuttle the hotel offers is a good way to get around. The staff was knowledgeble and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable. Had a terrible experience with the restaurant, but the staff was helpful in suggesting other alternatives for dinning.

« Beautiful hotel, 10 min drive from downtown. »

I stayed at this hotel just for one night. This is easy access from the main highways and there is a grocery store and gas station nearby. I wish the room could be a little larger, but it was clean and functional. I have no complain about no complimentary breakfast. You can pay for a breakfast or dinner. I didn't use that, but they looked to offer shuttle ride to downtown Quebec city. Veronique at the front desk was very kind and helpful. I will be back.

    « Great Break »

We had decided to have a break in Quebec after our cruise and before we went back to the West Coast. While out of the city it was very easy to get into the Old City either by their shuttle or by using a bus after a "pleasant" walk. Also not far from the Laurier Centre. A nice quiet hotel even though there is lot of traffic in the area. We ate breakfast while there and had no complaints.

    « Great Value »

The King size bed and room were perfect after a flight to Quebec City. Very clean, contemporary, good dining and very friendly staff. We would definitely go back again! It's just over 10 minutes from the airport and about a 30 minute drive to Old Quebec. So, very convienant and a very comfortable stay.

    « Quiet respite »

We arrived at the hotel about 10:15p.m. due to a delayed flight. The hotel is not far from the airport (about 5 miles) and is fairly easy to find with a GPS at night. Luckily, all of the front desk staff we spoke to could easily speak English, and that was the case in most of the places we visited in Quebec. That was important to us because we do not speak French. Our room was nice and located in a quiet area away from the road, with two very comfortable beds, and a wonderful bathroom. The rain shower was very soothing. The front desk recommended a great Italian restaurant just around the corner, within walking distance.
