Best Western Prescottonian

Clean room, friendly staff, on time check in , all together a great hotel for short visits. Close by restaurants makes it for a relax stay in Prescott. The gentleman who checked us in was ever so kind. Our room was clean, bathroom was tidy and orderly, bed was comfortable, plenty of parking spaces, near by Mexican restaurant close enough for walk ins.

The service checking in and checking out was phenomenal. We have stayed here before and we will definitely be going back. The room was clean and everything was great! The breakfast was also was good! The bonus was waking up to snow.

Staff was very kind. Hotel was very clean. And the restaurants around are all amazing. Try mi tiera and Kokos. They are amazing. The front desk staff were kind and informed me of the best western membership program

Breakfast was nice with bacon, sausage, eggs and waffles, yogurt and fruit and more. Coffee was good also. Front desk staff super helpful. Room was clean and quiet and only a mile to Whiskey Row. We will be back.

Really enjoyed the hotel. Close to everything. Restaurants and shopping near by. Hotel staff was wonderful. Friendly and very knowledgeable. Room was excellent. Beds very comfortable and clean. Easy check in and check out. Lots of free parking.

The Prescottonian was quiet and quiet with ample parking. It is extremely close to downtown. Additionally, there is a Mexican restaurant on the property as an easy dinner option. The grounds were festively decorated for the Christmas/New Years holidays. We will definitely return here the next time we visit Prescott.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Clean and well equipped rooms. Quiet. Good location. Good bed. We arrived for our first time to Prescott just in time for the annual Christmas light parade. Sweet!! Loved the nearby hiking!

We were very pleased with this property. Our room was very fresh and clean and the bed was comfortable. The property was pet friendly and grounds were clean. We enjoyed the coffee and breakfast. I recommend this motel highly.

As traveler, this property has much to offer. Rooms are clean and nice. Breakfast has something for everyone. Lots of healthy yummy options. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The property is clean and overall this makes it one of my favorite properties. I recommend staying at this property when in the area.

We stayed here because they do take dogs. The room was nice enough; it had been remodeled and it was very clean. The bed was too soft for my taste. In my opinion, the rooms facing the back of the building we were in were too isolated -- it was kind of spooky back there. There are several buildings; finding your room is tricky. Know that you probably won't be able to pull right up to your room, either. Some things need attention. There was a bump up at the top of the small staircase -- it should be marked with bright paint and a light. I can't be the only person who has tripped there. The breakfast buffet was decent, but they run out of must things by 8:00, and it isn't over until 9:00. Our door did not lock very well. We returned to the room and found it AJAR! Nothing was touched, but it didn't give us a good feeling.

this hotel has many plusses going for it, a good location, nice balconies with pretty views, good size very clean rooms, the only negative was a shorthanded breakfast with the many items running out or some not offered. overall a good choice to stay.

Nicw ehotl neardowntown woth outdoor pool. Seemed to be shortstaffed, Ran out of food at breakfast but evntually got more. Maid service by request only. Internet was spotty. But despite all enjoyed my stay. Have stayed there twicw and will stay again. Good place to escape Phoenix heat in summer.

I was presently surprised as I haven't had wonderful experiences at best westerns but the room was very clean and the bathroom was spotless. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was good. The staff is super friendly and very kind. I would stay here again

We were there Overnight for event. The front desk staff was nice at checkin and even called to ensure we had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good.we would recommend this place again and will be back in a few weeks.

This is a wonderful hotel, very affordable, excellent desk staff who were ALWAYS helpful and courteous during our stay. The breakfast buffet was EXCELLENT, lots of food, breakfast favorites and then some, and the hostess was extremely pleasant and made sure the pans were filled. Downside? It is an older Best Western so the rooms do need renovation. Double bolt on door was not working, luckily latch was and we placed a heavy object by the door to prevent entry. Mentioned it to Austin the next morning and he said he would have maintenance take care of it (by the way he said it he was serious and caring). Also shower knob felt like it could come out. Didn't know you had to turn the knob up, then turn it to hot and cold. Should be replaced. Cleanliness - OK. A bit more sprucing up and renovations should take care of it. Based on courteous of outstanding staff, excellent value and breakfast, and comfortable rooms I wish I could give it at least a 4.5 With renovation and modernization this Prescott Best Western could easy earn a 5 - and more.

We are local and rent rooms for the pool during the summer time to keep the kids entertained and for fun in the sun. We had a wonderful breakfast here. The property is extremely clean and the staff is wonderful.

We booked a King room with a view over looking the wash. The morning of our departure we had a family emergency and had to bring our 4 grand-children. When we arrived, the host suggested we upgrade to a 2 bedroom 2 bath and with a pull out sofa in the living area. The cost was not outragious and the room was so comfortable for all of us. The room was clean and the view of the wash and mountains from the 2 balconies was beautiful. The breakfast was awesome! There were so many choices that all 4 picky eaters found something they liked. We have stayed at this hotel many times and always have a great experience.

The rooms are incredibly spacious and comfortable. The daily breakfast buffet is by far the best I've experienced from any hotel stay They offered many delicious food options for any appetite. The front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating. The location provides easy access to downtown and surrounding areas. Would stay again!!

This was a 4 girl friends stay. Room 309 was wonderful. It is in back of bldg so it was away from road. Huge suite. Super comfortable. Great beds and bath and sitting spaces. Breakfast was fantastic. So many items and many hot ones. It fuled us for most of day. Such friendly staff. Highly recommend. Pool was small but we didn't use it.

The room was so nice and clean and the staff was so friendly and helpful ☺️ Probably could use 2 dirty clothes bag. That's the only thing I can say against it. Perfect location. Would diffently recommend this motel.

The location is on the main road, but very quiet. Check-in was quick and necessary information was provided to us. We enjoyed a full breakfast every morning and the staff was very friendly. No problems with the room.

Rooms are very clean and spacious. The staff is always helpful and courteous. Close to downtown Prescott and hiking. Large sized room with plenty of seating where breakfast is served. No need to go to a restaurant for breakfast with the spread that Best Western has for it's customers.

I always stay at this property when I am in Prescott. They are pretty central to old town Prescott and the new Prescott. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. This is not a new property but they keep it nice. The breakfast is always fresh and the room and tables are clean.

Traveled to Prescott for 2 days, had so much fun we stayed 2 more days / nights. The hotel experience was the best choice for our type of stay; antiquing, sight seeing, and dining out. Great historical area for myself, a septuagenarian / 3rd generation Arizonian.

Very dissatisfied with this place. It is an old motel that is masquerading as a hotel. Had to walk down 2 sets of poorly lit concrete stairs just to get to the subterranean room. Room was clean and had no offensive smell but infrastructure was probably original to what looked like a 1960's motel. Sink was so low that it hurt our backs to bend over to use it. We thought we were in a "disability accessible" room but staff said all the rooms had this same sink. Drain in shower was plugged such that we were standing in our own dirty water to shower. Breakfast was the cheapest fare, worst we've ever had in a "breakfast-included" place. We were supposed to stay for 5 nights. Stayed for one and cancelled the rest due to unacceptable accommodations that were actually more expensive than a brand new hotel just down the street that also had an indoor pool, exercise room, and hot tub! Don't be fooled by online pics and don't waste your time or money on this place unless and until the owner decides to upgrade.

Great value for the price. Central location that has a respectful and professional crew. The front desk associate was helpful and patient. Breakfast was delicious and the kitchen staff kept the counter tops clean. Spacious parking lot was also an unexpected plus.

The Prescotonian Best Western is an ideal location for visiting the fun and history of Prescott, Arizona. We arrived to a wonderful welcome, all questions answered and really appreciated the clerk taking the time to locate our room away from other rooms with "furry" guests already situated. It is the sum of all of these kinds of great attention to details that makes this Best Western a great choice for all and our choice for sure for our next visit to Prescott.

Great staff, good breakfast and nice fireplace in lobby area. Hotel is nice, hotel is in the downtown area and a little congested with the traffic on main road. Hopefully thee will get a restaurant adjacent to their office area as they had in the past (restaurant went out of business as a result of Covid)

From the minute we arrived we were met by the best host, Mike, who checked us in quickly. The rooms were clean and spacious,and quiet. Mike called shortly after we were unloaded to make sure everything was alright and it was. The hotel was close to stores and services and restaurants. They had the best breakfast I have seen in years and tipped according to what I figured it would have cost me at a regular restaurant. Lo Ed this place!

We always stay here when we come to visit our Grandson who goes to Embry Riddle and plays baseball there as well. The location is nice close to everything. The breakfast is nice with eggs, waffles, potatos, cooked oatmeal not instant with all the toppings. Can't ask for much more!

Don't waste your time staying here. The rooms smell horrible, they are dirty and outdated. Very overpriced for what you actually get. We usually stay at Best Westerns but not anymore. Their quality and cleanliness are not a priority.

This was our first trip to Prescott, Az. The location of this property is centrally located to All areas surrounding Prescott ! The Prescottonian is a beautiful complex that is well- managed and all employees we encountered during our 1 week stay were incredible ! The free breakfast was better than you would find at most restaurants. Marshall , chef at breakfast, caters to tourists needs in a most professional manner . Check-in, housekeeping and again, all employees were most friendly and professional ! Will be back !

You won't be disappointed with this property. There is a great hot breakfast with many choices for everyone. I love the rooms are clean, it is quite and comfortable. I highly recommend and will stay again.

We enjoyed our stay here while on a business trip. The chef was amazing and take lots of pride in having a great breakfast available. All of the staff was friendly. The internet worked great, and it was a restful night of sleep. The area itself has lots of bugs, and there are many loud chirping cicadas.

Corp travel booked wrong hotel and was skeptical but everything turned out perfectly. Breakfast was great too, not the crappy bread and cereal but eggs sausage ham, excellent. I would stay there again, best mistake I made in quite a while

Used to love staying here over the past ten years. It was a clean property well maintained despite being an old school building and design concept. It had charm and immense value with a welcoming staff. It was like coming home. On my latest visit I was shocked to see how run down and dirty the property was. The staff who used to be cheery and welcoming seemed distant and pre-occupied. Even worse my room smelled like a can of air freshener was added to mask the smoke scent. For a smoke free property it is obvious the non-smoking restriction is not being enforced. The carpet was disgusting and a bed bug leaped out of towel when I unfolded it. Horrifying. Adding to the list of disappointments my load of wash in the guest laundry was stuck in the “rinse” cycle for about an hour. Fortunately when I contacted the maintenance staff the malfunction in the old and haggard washing machine was quickly addressed and my clothes were liberated. I won't even get into how disgustingly filthy the laundry/vending room was. I am a Diamond Select member with Best Western and hold Bonvoy Elite Platinum status with Marriott and stay at hundreds of properties each year for both business and pleasure. So it is obvious to me the problem with this property is not with the on site staff. They simply to do not have the support in both resources and leadership from their new ownership team. The only solution to this current death spiral is for the owning entity to re-commit to making this property the jewel of Prescott that it once was. Having experience and personal friendships with hotel property developers, I deduce the new ownership group is maximizing their return on investment until they drive this property into the dust. Then level the place and prepare the property for its next use. For me, it is back to the two Marriott properties in town. Sad day…

This was a motel and not a hotel as advertised so we were surprised to find our door to be to the outside and not to an inner hallway. Also the space under the door was significant that you could clearly see the outside from within the room enough to make you want to place a towel on the floor to block anything from crawling in. The property is surrounded by trees with cicadas and the noise from the cicadas was piercing when outside and you could definitely hear them from the room and when we asked the front desk person to move to a different location in the facility was told nothing was available when clearly there was not many cars in the lot. On the good side, will say the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the cicadas did quiet at night so was able to sleep. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of hot and cold food items. Was staying with other family members and found that their room rate was less than ours for the exact same room. Was told we were getting a 1st responders discount only to find that the price we were charged was the internet price that anyone could get. Overall felt the price was too much for the property and it being a motel and will not be going back to this particular property for future stays.

Second time staying at this hotel. The morning coffee could be a lot better but otherwise a good value. Was greeted and checked in by a great guy....Mike. Very friendly and concerned about me and my family having a nice stay. Nice pool and very clean.

Definitely a place to stay for value and convenience. Great location with easy access to everything in Prescott. Very attentive and friendly staff that greeted you with a friendly smile and welcoming attitude. Hot breakfast served by a hands-on chef who made sure the eating area was very clean and that plenty of food was available for all is a major bonus!!!

Room was dirty, Shower didn't drain, Room smelled bad. I would not recommend this hotel to future guests since there are more updated. The breakfast was good for the hotel and service personnel preparing the breakfast was good.

We had a nice, comfortable stay in a 1 bedroom suite. The suite was roomy and clean, beds comfortable, internet worked fine, breakfast was good. Location was close to downtown and good restaurants. The manager was super nice and helpful.

Check in and check out was easy. The staff were very polite and helpful. Rooms were clean and property was nice and was located not far from stores and restaurats. I will definetly be staying at this place again.

Spent 3 nights at this Prescott Best Western. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed the balcony. The complimentary breakfast was very good. The buffet line was well tended to and the food was good. Plenty of parking. Safe area. Staff was friendly and efficient. You won't find a better place to stay in this price range. Highly recommended.

I've stayed at this motel many times over the last 15 years. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and pleasant. They are pet friendly which is important. There's a neighborhood street behind the motel that is nice for walking my dog or heading to town.

The room itself was fine; no complaints here The breakfast was very disappointing. The “selection” of pastries was limited to awful sticky buns. There were no dairy products except milk. There was hardly any selection of fruit

We chose this hotel based on the proximately to town, and the price. It did not disappoint. The front desk staff was friendly, helpful, and considerate. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The beds were surprisingly more comfortable than expected! The front building rooms behind the main building have a view of just that! If you are lucky to get a room on the other of the building, or in the 2nd back building, parallel to the road, you'll have a much nicer view. The breakfast buffet was good and satisfying. Overall, I would stay there again, and would recommend it for a good value in the Prescott downtown area.

Staff very nice and professional . Rooms were clean and maintained. Pool was just the right size. Breakfast had numerous options and sweet rolls tasted homemade. If you do have issues climbing stairs please ask for a 1st floor room. Handicap accessible room was spacious and looked newly remodeled . Will definitely stay again.

Clean and spacious room except bathroom small and less updated. Breakfast selection was excellent and food was good. Pool area was disappointing. Parking could be tricky. There was lots of it but not necessarily near room and hard to find close to room if getting back late.

We needed a place to stay in Prescott for our son's wedding, I am 64 and hubby is 70 and he has back and knee issues so we couldn't stay in the downtown hotels where the rest of young kids were staying as they were not accessible for his needs and we cannot do stairs so being a BW rewards member, we found this hotel and everything was perfect. Downstairs room, beds always super comfy at Best Westerns and the breakfast here is just the best. Rooms clean, hotel and lobby very clean. Very nice staff from front desk to housekeeping to the amazing chefs who do the breakfast but my main kudos go to Holly at the front desk. Holly did not check us in but helped us out the following day as we were told at check in from Christina (who was nice enough and we had no issues with) that we could not use our BW earned travel gift cards for payment towards our nephew's room but the next day Holly took the time to take the gift cards off of our room and apply them to nephew's room. I understand it is not super fast and easy applying these discounts and I had 5 $10 ones and a $50 and 2 $25 cards. She was so very helpful. She called the rewards center for me about another travel card issue that ended up being my error. She was helpful to me on several phone calls to the hotel in between my booking and actual arrival, patient, listens to you and friendly to all guests. The only hard thing about the location of this hotel is that it is hard to get out on Gurley St. to head towards downtown, hard to make left turn as it is such a busy street but you can right and make a u-turn not far down the road if you cannot make a left(which the hotel advises you not do) All in all, I love Best Western and their rewards program is great. Very pleased with this hotel.

this hotel is made up of multiple buildings. some folks can park right in front of their room - others, like me, had to walk 152 paces from my vehicle to my room. Hotel is aging but clean. Good TV good bed. No other complaints other than having to make multiple trips to and from my vehicle that felt like it was parked in another state. As a senior, walking is good - but after a long day on the road, closer would have been better.

Best Western Prescottonian is an excellent place to stay if you are visiting Prescott for business or pleasure. Centrally located and very easy to access. Staff goes above and beyond to make you as comfortable as possible.

We were in town for a quinceanera. The party started at 3 and so was check-in. I called and spoke with Holly and she managed to get us checked in early. She was so friendly and even called to check on us and make sure we didn't need anything else. She is so friendly and personable.

This is a very nice hotel in the beautiful town of Prescott. It is a large property, well maintained, and you enter the room from the outside. The customer service at this hotel is excellent. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. We had a room with a king bed which was very large. There was a chair, desk, microwave and refrigerator. The room was nicely decorated, very clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was great with a huge variety. Everything was perfect at this hotel, and I highly recommend it when visiting the Prescott area.

Room was spacious and clean. Pool was very nice, next to Highway, but wall blocked some wind and sound. The breakfast was the best I've seen in a long time. So many options, the usual including waffles and strawberries, yogurt and oatmeal with toppings, but also had cinnamon buns that were way to good, and breakfast potatoes.

Clean room, quiet (despite being close to the highway) easy access to downtown and other attractions in the area. Great staff, especially the gentleman in charge of guest breakfast area. Good experience allround.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Little area around side for dogs. Of course, people still don't pick up after their dogs, Breakfast was sit down and hot! It was nice to have a variety each morning of our stay. My only regret was the pool wasn't open yet. (Coming from a lot of snow, wanted to feel that water and sun.) Also, get a 2nd floor room, you'll have your own little balcony. We just had a ground floor walkout. Lots of parking and quiet! Thank you.

This is a place I look forward to staying in, when in town. Friendly staff, clean rooms, breakfast selection is always really good. Proximity to whiskey row is great, not too close, not too far! Overall a great place to spend a couple of nights!

Fantastic from check in to check out. This was our best stay in our last 10 days of travel. 3rd Best Western so far on this trip. We are in another one right now and we would give this one a 75% compared to The Prescott we just described.

Location – good location for access to Sedona, AZ short distance to Prescott Valley, AZ - Costco & Walmart close by good dining in downtown Prescott – just a mile away Hotel – older well maintained 2 story hotel Room – large, clean and everything worked well furniture and rugs were in good shape great shower with lots of hot water Heating and air cond worked well Internet – very good – 44 mbps down, 33 mbps up Breakfast – very good with both hot and cold choices loved the large breakfast room attendant was very good at keeping everything hot and plentiful

We were just there overnight but very impressed. The pet friendly room was perfect for our pooch. It was clean and well maintained. Robyn at the front desk was top notch! We were also traveling with a truck and trailer - had no trouble parking in the large lot.

We chose this hotel because they allowed pets. The entry to the rooms lead right to a large walking area for pets. No need to run into other dogs. Plenty of room for all the four legged family members that stay at this hotel.

We found the bed sheets dirty with dead bugs on them. The extra blankets were rough and uncomfortable. The bathroom sink area is very small. It was quiet. We did not try the breakfast there. Internet service was fine but poor reception for cell phone.

Dated lodging but nice, clean rooms. Staff was very friendly. Hearty breakfast with lots of choices. Great hot shower & nice brand of bathing products. Fox News blaring at breakfast was terrible! After 4 nights, asking for full-service in my room, my bed was made - dirty sheets left on. 8 nights on dirty sheets was not okay.

We travel a lot (once a month or more) and we had probably one of the best experiences at this location! Mike at the front desk was great and super welcoming, the room was clean and quiet, the bed was comfortable and breakfast was the perfect continental spread!

Older property but we'll managed and maintained. Good hot breakfast. Efficient and friendly check-in. Outdoor pool was closed for the season but it was too cold to use anyway. Would recommend when passing through.

This was a nice hotel that we spent an over night while traveling through Arizona. Mike and the woman working the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed their breakfast, they had a pretty big selection of items.

This is a motel styled exterior with a hotel interior. It's very close to downtown so that you may visit the shops and restaurants. The staff is courteous and friendly, and I would recommend staying here again.

Great experience. also stayed here last May and enjoyed the experience then as well. Large rooms and so clean and comfortable. Each staff member was so nice and accommodating. Breakfast was really good. Everything about our stay here has been excellent!

My husband and I really like this BW. Staff are friendly and professional and the breakfast manager/chef is wonderful. We really appreciate the hot breakfast selections especially the make-it-yourself waffles, hot oatmeal. Also the dining room has wonderful views of the mountains across from the hotel...an added Bonus!

This is our second stay at the best Western Prescottonian. The rooms are nice and we like the way the bathrooms are laid out so that somebody can take a shower and go to the bathroom while the other one gets ready. The morning breakfast is great, they have all the hot food you would expect (eggs, sausage, pancakes, biscuits and gravy) Plus all the typical cold food like cereals and muffins.

Overall rooms are clean and comfortable to stay in. Had a GOOD night sleep in that comfortable bed. Waking up to a FANTASTIC breakfast. I'll stay again just for the breakfast BW keep it going! Parking was excellent right in front of your room so no hassle unloading or loading.

The stay was great. The room had been recently remodeled and was very clean. The front desk people were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great under Covid conditions and the gentleman serving breakfast was cordial and nice. Always stay at this Best Western when in Prescott!

Room was average priced, but the staff, room quality, breakfast made up for the average feeling. Treated very well, grounds and room extremely clean. Breakfast above average, enjoyed the stay completely. Best mattress in a hotel in a while.

Whenever we go up to Prescott for the weekend we always stay at Best Western Prescottonian. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. I especially like the pillows. It would be nice if the restaurant would reopen. Use to be a really good Mexican restaurant but then I guess Covid caused them to close.

Extremely well maintained and staffed motel. Larger than I thought. Slept well and ate better in the morning. very nice options for breakfast served to you. Yummy Room was spotless and adequately furnished. No problems with TV programing and available channels. Got to watch all my favorite football teams. Thanks for 4 nights of comfort:) Internet was fast enough for my needs. No slowing. In Prescott there is no shortage of great views. The surrounding mountains had great memories for me as I had roamed them as a kid. Beautiful

We were so pleased with the friendly staff, great free breakfast, and only a little over a mile to walk down to Whiskey Row. Walking through the neighborhood we discovered Acker Park which has some nice hiking trails.

Hotel is older and everything needs updating. The room furnishings are old and very dated. Have never stayed in a hotel room without a closet. The ironing board and iron were hung in the bathroom next to the tub/shower. There was no towel rack next to the sink so we left our hand towels lying on the sink counter. The air conditioned was a relatively loud white noise. There is trash around the buildings on premises that needed to be picked up. Exterior hallway had a plastic fork sticking up.

We had stayed in another brand hotel on our way to Tucson from CA. It was a horrible experience. Stopping at this BW in Prescott on our return trip to CA was a delight as the hotel was well maintained and very clean. The staff were very cordial and it was a convenient stop off of the freeway. The value seemed very reasonable.

Room was stinky and smelly with smoke smell. They are supposed to be non-smoking but obviously have been in the past. Room A/C did not function and it was hot. Staff did nothing for it. Do not stay here. Usually Best Westerns are great. Not here.

The room needed more cleaning. Surfaces and toilet were not clean. Also the desk light was burned out. a simple walk though check list by the staff would help. the breakfast was ok if you just want the basics.

The room we stayed in (244) had pretzels and spoons under the desk. We did not attempt to use shower as there was hair in and around the shower. When I informed the girl at front desk, all she said was she would check to see who cleaned it.

This property is obviously old and they really haven't updated the insides of the rooms. The mattress and linens were stained, housekeeping does not clean the entire room only focusing only on the center of the rooms including bathroom. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great - I prefer to have staff serving rather than everyone helping themselves. The value was not commensurate with the quality. We stayed at Estes Park and paid only a few dollars more each night for a fully renovated room and clean facilities.

Stay here was great. Friendly staff, and one of the best 'included' hotel breakfasts I've had. Older hotel, but clean. Stayed on the first floor, so could hear footsteps above our room occasionally - my only real complaint.

Super awesome staff, very nice, clean rooms, awesome pool, great breakfast variety, all day coffee and juice! Will definitely be staying here again on our return trip to Prescott next month! Give this hotel a solid 10!

Many years ago I worked for a BW in the Midwest. They have always been a good value and pleasant enough places to stay. The Prescottonian has large rooms but they lack personality, The bed was good and they have a strange HVAC set-up meaning you control an aging wall unit with a modern remote control, Whatever happened to a good old thermostat? Oh, and the laminated information cards were sticky and I had to wash them. Otherwise, things were clean and we got a good night's sleep. Felt it was high priced for what was there.

I went up for work, and I specifically asked to have my floors super clean because I have an autistic four year old. The floors where so bad my sons feet where black before we got unloaded. There was a booger on the wall. A pubic hair and some other hairs in the bathtub when I went to give my son a bath. There was some orange substance spilled on the wall near the bathroom and not washed, There was dog or cat hair all over floor near walls. There was someone else's wedding band on the ground along with a peppermint candy and a toy. I have taken pictures of all these claims I have stated and I am very upset that I paid close to 400 dollars for this. And to top it off my family has had a cold since we returned.

If you're looking for a good internet connection, this is not the place to go! You'll have to use your phone as a hotspot. The floors weren't thoroughly vacuumed. I found two hair pins on the carpet near the bathroom.

Central location was great. Close to downtown, shopping and many restaurants. Room was very quiet and clean just a bit far from the front office. Plenty of parking on premises and well lit at night. Staff all very friendly and courteous.

The location is very close to downtown but enough distance where it is quiet. Everyone at the Best Western is always pleasant and aim to please you. The rooms were very clean and everything functioned well. You cannot go wrong with the free breakfast with enough items to choose from. The family stayed in two rooms for 3 nights, had a great experience. The family always looks forward to our stay at the Best Western having clean rooms and the most pleasant staff.

We enjoyed our stay here. We liked that our room had a little balcony and somewhat of a view. The bed was very comfortable and room was clean. They served a modified hot breakfast due to COVID and it was very good.

We ended up having to pay $200/night for a room with no WiFi. Not slow WiFi, it was NO WiFi in the building they put us in. I was given lame excuses but not the truth. I was told it was because there were a lot of kids staying there and they were all on devices. Except the parking lot was empty when I first reported it. I also could log on in the parking lot at all times, but as soon as I approached the room it disconnected. 3 trips to the office and three times I was told they would reset the modem. I feel like they tried to put one over on me because I am a older adult. I will not stay there ever again.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. It was very clean and affordable. Hotel staff are very friendly. Hot breakfast was very good. Swimming pool is open seasonally. We were hoping for the use of the swimming pool and hot tub.

We recently stayed here with our family and 1 dog, we enjoyed that we were given an option to bring our pet for an additional $20 per night, the hotel is centrally located you can walk anywhere and our room had immediate access to the parking lot which made it very convenient for our pet, we enjoyed the continental breakfast they kept very strict guidelines due to covid and we felt safe the only problem we encountered is that there was only 1 person serving the food and the line at one point got very long and we waited like 15 minutes, another issue was that one of the pillows in our room smelled very bad it seems that they had not replaced it when they prepared the room prior to us arriving, and the internet wifi was a little slow, other than that we enjoyed our stay, good hotel, conveniently located a a great price for a. family and 1 pet. Will recommend it, very safe and quiet location.

Although it is not an inside room hotel, our experience was very pleasant. Highly recommend asking for a room on the backside of the hotel. We had a King Suite which provided ample room for two adults and a 10 year old. Breakfast was full meal served by attendant and included many options! Pool, although smaller in size, was closed during our stay but would serve purpose when used. Overall, very enjoyable experience and worth the money we paid at the time of our stay!

The hotel was completely booked on this weekend but the staff remained very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good although they did run out of several items. Internet service was solid. Price paid was outstanding. Great value.

The staff here was consistently friendly and helpful, to include the breakfast servers and cleaning staff. The accommodations were clean and spacious, fresh and tastefully decorated. There is a very ample and attractive area for pets, as well.

My husband and I stayed here over the long weekend. The rooms was large, clean and the bed was comfortable. If you want luxury this may not be the place, but for the price it is great. The location is good close to the highway but quiet and also close to downtown Prescott. The breakfast was awesome and the staff very friendly and accommodating. I would stay here again.

You get what you pay for , the hotel was close to the activities I had planned for myself. The staff was friendly and efficient. My bathtub wasn't cleaned it had hair in it the front desk offered to clean it for me or change my room . I opted to clean it myself. I only stayed one night as this was a day trip of exploring my surrounding cities. I got a good night sleep the bed was very comfortable and there was no outside noise very quiet.

Location is right off the highway but you don't hear any traffic, and was close to downtown for quick trips. Visited our favorite parks and restaurants for a get-away in the snow! Front desk was helpful and quick for check-in. Breakfast onsite had a good variety. Room was clean and beds were comfortable.

Rooms had a definite odor upon arrival. Older rooms but plenty of space. Breakfast ended early and could have gone until 10 am due to holiday season (more families less work stay). Overall not terrible but not the 8.4 as previous reviews stated.

The room was clean and comfortable. It was in a convenient location. The staff was friendly and helpful. The property is OK. Although it is pretty stark and looks like the buildings are very old. The property is not very inviting.

The hotel needs to be updated. The room we stayed in at least was run down. The door to the outside didn't close tight. The a/c - heater didn't work well & the furniture was very worn. The need was hard as a rock.

I went with a friend to Prescott to pan for gold at Lynx Creek. We loved our stay at Best Western because the mattresses were so comfortable. We slept like babies. The room was stylish and very clean. Both mornings we ate a huge free breakfast. Eggs , sausage. Biscuits and pancakes. Delish. We will be back !

We went for an overnight stay. The facility is large and attractive with one exception. The trash in some public areas was not picked up and tidy. For the price, and considering this is a Best Western, it was not disappointing because we knew what we were getting. Our room was clean and spacious and everything worked. The front desk staff was efficient and very couteous.

The Best Western at Prescot had a very safe check-in area. The room was keep and comfortable. The breakfast was really the outstanding feature of the stay. An employee of Best Western took your breakfast request and filled it at the buffet. It was done safely and was the full meal deal Best Western breakfast.

There are a LOT of choices in Prescott, this will never be ours again. The staff was NOT friendly and the beds were horrible. We checked out and did not even spend the second night of our planned trip here.

We has a marvelous room with a balcony overlooking an undeveloped area. Watching swarms of birds munching away on pyracantha berries and enjoying the breeze through the junipers is delightful, We had a minor maintenance problem and the guy was here in less than a minute, masked and ready to fix it. Wonderful staff, clean rooms, and a view of thumb butte - what more could you want? Oh, and walking distance to downtown.

Everyone was super nice and accommodating. The property is clean as are the rooms and the breakfasts were good but I still feel it is slightly overpriced. It is pretty bare bones when you get right down to it. I would def stay again when in Prescott.

We like to visit our son who attends the university. The price is always right, the staff always helpful and pleasant. The rooms are always clean with working features and updated regularly. Parking lot is well lit and safe.

Rented 3 rooms for a family weekend trip to Prescott AZ. This hotel has all the charm and hospitality of a small town but is still part of the Best Western expectations. This hotel has been around for decades but still is in great condition and everything still works. We used this hotel as a hub for the family to go to downtown Prescott and to other places. On the minus side, there are no elevators for guests and since my wife can no longer climb stairs and uses a scooter for long travels, Taylor and Holly at the front desk were great people to work with in getting our rooms established for our needs by getting us a ground floor room. As for the rooms, they were clean and looked like they had been recently updated to include a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Due to the Covid 19 protocols, hand sanitizer was present in the community areas and since our stay was for two nights, the room staff did not clean our room each day but did stop by to see if we needed any additional shampoo or towels since there is a functioning swimming pool.

Breakfast was disappointing..server unfriendly , food cold. Room was clean except for dirty towel left in bathroom from previous guest. Pricing inconsistent with quoted price. Not my usual experience with Best Western..I usually rate them as 5.

Every time we go to Prescott we stay at the Prescottonian, and we love the drive from this hotel up Mingus Mountain to Jerome, Old Town Cottonwood, Sedona, Oak Creek Canyon, flagstaff, and back to the the Prescottonian for a clean comfortable rest.

The on-line booking and conformation was easy, my telephone call to verify my reservation was answered by a polite young lady named Taylor who answered all my questions. My check-in was easy and the facilities were clean! Next day's check-out and bagged breakfast with coffee in the lobby were just what I needed. Keep up the good work!

We were greeted well and ha all of our questions answered with solutions. Pool was amazing the catering option super and the staff was so friendly we are planning to take our honeymoon to Prescott . We all the chaos in the world . It has been hard to get my fiance to relax and even leave the house for anything other than work. Our visit to Prescott was far better than we had hoped and only because the Front Desk offered solutions to all of our dilemmas and questions . Thanks Best western We have found our getaway.

Big clean rooms, comfy beds great staff, and minimal noise even though our neighbor apologized for her baby crying early that morning because she thought it woke us up but we didn't hear anything. I would definitely stay again the only thing I would say is carpet could use cleaning it was musty smelling

The hotel used disciplined and extensive cleaning protocols. I felt extremely safe in the hotel. The staff was efficient and the receptionist was enthusiastic about the hotel's cleaning methods. I highly recommend the Prescott Best Western.

I travel for work quite a bit then stay at Best Western around a 100 times per year crossed United States this location is great if you're staying in Prescott they have some really amazing sweets if you're diamond select or traveling with a large group or family members I believe they even have a sweet that will accommodate 8 to 10 people this place is great and also a great deal

This hotel has been upgraded. The rooms are clean, employees are super nice. Outside of the parking/entry issues, I would recommend this hotel. It is also in a great location. I was unable to figure out the TV remote, lol! So I just watched what was came up.

Very PLEASED, very CLEAN, very Quiet, would recommend the Prescott, Arizona BW to our friends and family when they travel to the area without out worry. We normally stay at Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn this trip had new staff, mixed up our reservations an left us with out a room, we call BW, within minutes we had a comfortable, clean suite.

Older style motel where you enter from the parking lot. Basic room, comfortable bed, older style TV and a very small bathroom hard to close the door but very adequate. Breakfast was adequate eggs, roll, pancakes, sausage etc.

This facility is large and as such, subject to a lot of noise. All rooms are exterior access and lots of parking lot noise as well as zero privacy if curtains are open (for some light). Staff was very friendly and facility has been recently refreshed. It is clean but has a '60's motel feel. We booked throuigh Expedia and paid twice the average price - would recommend booking directly with Best Western. Breakfast has a lot of food - but hot dishes were cold so not as satisfying as it could have been.

The room was clean and had the amenities expected for an above average motel. Small but VERY clean dog area fenced in. Above average included hot / cold breakfast. VERY close to Yavapai College Performing Arts Center. All staff we interacted with were warm and friendly, professional, and efficient.

This was a a wonderful place to stay while visiting family in Prescott. Quiet, clean, excellent staff at the front desk and marvelous in the kitchen, The breakfast was outstanding in a lovely dining room area. Very reasonably priced and value added. Great parking also!

Staff is professional and pleasant. Food is good and has many selections for every taste bud. Rooms smell clean. There is extra outlets to plug in electronics. I like the window light they have in the bathrooms. Property looks great. I will stay again when in the area.

We stayed for two nights while our home was being worked on. We arrived after 10 p.m. so the desk clerk was not busy and we checked in very quickly. Our room was upstairs and there is no elevator, so if you are not able to climb stairs you will need to specify that when making your reservation. We are ok with walking up stairs so it was not a problem for us. The room is laid out well and the bed was very comfortable. We didn't experience any noise from other rooms. This is an older facility but it is well maintained and clean. Everything in our room was working fine. Our room was at the extreme backside of the property and faced a canyon area. There is major work being done down there and the work crews were cutting down trees and operating some heavy equipment. They started early both mornings and it was pretty noisy. We are early risers so it didn't bother us, but if you sleep in past 7 a.m. I recommend that you request a room that faces HWY 69 for the next couple of months. You could call the hotel before your stay and ask if the work has been completed. The breakfast buffet is one of the best we've experienced. Scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, ham, biscuits and gravy and waffles are all hot and tasty. They also offer. Cold items, breads, pastries, juices, coffee and tea. The ladies who were working the buffet were friendly, helpful and available for special needs. We would not hesitate to stay again.

We arrived late in the evening and were just ready to get in our room and get to sleep before our activities the next day. Our first encounter was the check in individual who was pleasant and more helpful than even those at some swanky hotels we have stayed at. Breakfast the next morning was outstanding ~ food trays were kept full with hot food. Children especially enjoyed the waffles they were allowed to make for themselves - not just Eggos :-) Would definitely stay here again when passing through Prescott!

The Prescottonian has always been the perfect place for us to stay when we must come to the Prescott VA medical facility. Always comfortable, staff is always good to us. Have been staying here for 13+ years.

This was a Christmas present to my husband. We really enjoyed our stay. It was short drive to Whiskey Row, shops and restaurants. Our room was recently renovated, very clean and comfortable. Will stay here again.

Booked this as it looks better online than it does in person. Has terrible parking for the building we were put in. Asked for top floor as we do not like "footstep" noise. They gave us the 3rd floor with a "view" and this building has no elevator. At our age, it's an exercise experience to take all your luggage and hanging clothes etc. up e flights of stairs. The room was clean except for this large spider under the "very low vanity" that we could not kill as he hid somewhere and we were worried he would crawl into bed with us or something. The shower curtain was too short resulting in water outside or the tub. The shower knob was filthy. Toilet was old and with a "round" seat which is awkward for larger people. They said the room had a "view" and the view is on the side where you had to ope the room door to see, and it wasn't much. And the view from the balcony was the parking lot.

Easy check-in, nice room with a view of a stream bed. Clean comfortable bed and pillows, good hot flowing shower, small fridge, in-room coffee maker and free coffee and tea in the lobby 24/7, FREE breakfast was delicious and there were a wide variety of fresh items- not the crappy instant eggs! Didn't use the pool because it was snowing. Easy $7 Uber ride into town square. I would definitely stay here again, great value!

We could not be more grateful to the staff for their warm and friendly service. This is a great hotel for pets. The breakfast is spectacular and the rooms are spacious and modern. Every employee we encountered waswelcoming and helpful. LOVE this hotel!!!!

This hotel was good for us. We got a free stay at Best Western this time. The room was clean. Breakfast was nothing out of the ordinary and good. The breakfast room was bid and can accomodate lots of people and no waiting this time. Room was clean and spacious. WiFi was weak at where our room was located. The hotel was close most places we visited. Overall, this is a good hotel for us and we will consider this hotel in the future.

Convenient location. Nice staff. Clean comfortable and quiet rooms. You can't beat that in the age of hotels trying to gouge guests. This hotel was a great find. The rate offered was what we paid. No extra hidden charges. The on-site restaurant was excellent. You know it's good when locals eat there. We were very impressed and will be back.

We were on a road trip celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary and decided to stay at the BWPrescottonian. Though the nightly rate was slightly higher and décor more dated than other hotels in its class, it had gotten dark; we were very tired of traveling and there was a nice-looking Mexican restaurant on site. After a nice dinner we went to room and went to bed. The next morning my husband stepped in shower and realized NO SOAP…anywhere…. only a tacky note that if we wanted soap (or any amenities) to come to office. NO soap or shampoo for showers is unacceptable but worse, no soap to even wash after morning bathroom is inexcusible (we had to wash at a local gas station). I know many hotels kindly offer courtesy amenities if you have forgotten something, however, there were NO amenities in the room at all and we were left with the impression this wasn't done by accident but rather just incredibly cheap and tacky of the management. We do not recommend the BWPrescottonian. ...

Whenever we are in Prescott, we always stay here. We know it will be clean and we have a safe space for our dog to walk and take care of her business. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The location is very convenient, as it is located close to shopping.

Was an ok stay however room was a little over priced for accommodations and tv service was unavailable for several hours but no reimbursement was received ,but staff was friendly and helpful with everything else

This hotel is very clean and conveniently located, east to get in and out. Staff is very polite, friendly and helpful. Were understanding on that we could not arrive on the 29th due to weather and moved our reservations out a day.

Driving up to this property, I felt concerned about the condition of our room because it's an older establishment with a less appealing exterior. Upon check-in, I felt more reassured by the cleanliness and decor of the lobby. Our room was just as delightful. Actually, it was a suite with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and two balconies, room 156. I highly recommend this spacious room. The room was immaculate, even though it's older the fact that it was so clean made it more comfortable.

Hotel is an old motel. All doors go to outside. The rooms are large and comfortable. Location is difficult to get to get to from the north - crossing Gurley. Breakfast was very good and there were enough tables.

Don't be fooled by the pictures online its a very dated hotel catering to what I observed to out of town construction workers. My room smelled like dag as this is a pet friendly hotel (should have rooms that don't allow pets for customers as well) the sink was leaking and the toilet didn't flush p[properly. Although the breakfast was fantastic don't be fooled by the pictures the cafeteria is dated and dingy however the staff was super friendly. Many better options in Prescott for the same price point.

Arrived later in the night, was quick and easy. While bringing belongings into room myself and guest both of us stepped on and rolled ankle on ledge in doorways. Next day we had the do not disturb sign up, the house cleaning staff decided it would be a great idea to call the room waking us up and disturbing us. Position of the air caused poor circulation in the room causing an uncomfortable staleness and difficulty to sleep.

This is our second time staying here. I still can't believe how friendly the staff is. Room was clean. Bed was super comfy. Complimentary breakfast, superb! The location is perfect. Close to the casino, downtown, and where we needed to go the next day, Embry Riddle.

Many hotels "punish" dog owners by charging high fees, using old lesser rooms in back buildings. Pet friendly, not people friendly. Too bad this location is like that as we will not stay here again in Prescott.

Great location right off of the highway, but some street noise/sirens might wake you up if you are located in the front building right off of Gurley street. The breakfast was good with a lot of choices and pretty good coffee. It is within walking distance of Yavapai College.

Front desk staff went above and beyond to ensure I had cold water to drink by offering to bring a pitcher of ice to my room. I gladly accepted and had my cold water. This same front desk associate provided a map and drew in directions to a destination for me. Thank you, Mike!

Bugs in my bed, under the comforter, crawling on me in my sleep. Thankfully I only stayed one night as I was able to check out and be done with this roach motel. I do not recommend staying here and wasting your money

We stayed here in room 302 from 10/2 through 10/5/19. The hotel is easy to find, generally had plenty of parking and is a good place to stay in Prescott. Our room was good sized, quiet and well appointed. The bed was comfortable. There was a small balcony which was nice. The sink area is outside the bathroom/shower area. The internet was good for emails and web surfing and breakfast was good,(esp. liked the biscuits) with offerings typical of a BW. Our check in was fine and pretty quick,despite there being a line of 4 people in front of us (kudos to the front desk staff) and check out was a breeze. They have designated outside areas for smoking. There is a Mexican restaurant on site. The TV channel offerings were a bit light (I missed CNBC) but that's a nitpick. A couple of tips: 1.If you are going downtown exit from the rear of the motel, go down a few blocks and turn right on the street with the traffic light onto Gurley St. It's quicker and easier to get onto Gurley than doing it from the front exit. 2.There are no elevators, so if stairs are a problem for you, get a first floor room. Overall, we had a very good stay and would stay here again.

Very spacious recently remodeled room. The bed was comfortable, great amenities, wide variety of tv channel selection. Howl staff friendly, helpful and courteous. Location close to the downtown area a short driving distance to many other shopping areas. Don't miss dinner at the restaurant on site! Mexican food, cocktails and the musician were superb and extremely reasonably priced. Overall, great hotel!

The Best Western was super clean, the views were amazing and the breakfast. I can't get over those biscuits and gravy. SO GOOD! Will stay again and again! It was a short Lyft ride to Whiskey Row and parking was easy breezy.

I was told this hotel was the best in Prescott AZ. If it is, they really need to up their game. It appears to be a remodeled old "motel" with two floors and no elevator to access the second floor. Second floor rooms share a balcony. The tub area had an ant infestation. The breakfast choice of a hard boiled egg turned out to be rubbery and stale. If I need to stay in Prescott again I am likely to look for an Airbnb instead.

Great staff, very helpful. Comfortable bed and clean room. Well worth to get a deluxe room. Extra space, couch and writing table. Near shopping mall. There's a Walmart, Target and lots of restaurants. Newspapers in lobby. Good warm breakfast included. Have stayed many times. The truckers next door were loud till 9:30pm.(Didn't call office)

Was moved to four different rooms in one day until I was given one that was fully functioning and didn't smell like an ash tray. Search elsewhere if you plan on actually using the toilet or shower in your room.

As a single older woman travelling alone, security is key. This is a womderful location where I'd stay again. The staff is wonderful. I always felt safe. The reason I couldn't sleep had nothing to do with the hotel. It was the altitude and the fact i was shopping for a home.

Room was clean and very comfortable. Nice decor and comfortable bed and chair. Breakfast was very good. Plenty of selection everything tasted great. Only complaint I have is bathroom vanity could be bigger. Not enough room for toiletries and coffee maker.

Before you unpack, check your room. The drainage in the tub, and flush of the toilet should be tested before settling in and unpacking. If you can avoid the rooms on the back of the hotel, do so. The big beetles are worse on the north end where the room over looks a drop off.

I enjoyed my stay but it was over $400 for 2 days so won't be doing that again. Too expensive for a Best Western Hotel. The mini fridge leaked water all over the carpeting and was turned off when I arrived. The maintenance staff quickly arrived and turned it on but it leaked water onto carpeting in front of fridge. Excellent maintenance staff that weekend at least. Room I was in is very large, clean and I was on first floor which I prefer. I felt for $200 a night I could have stayed downtown and saved myself the $10 cab fare each way each time I went to downtown area. They should consider having a car service or mini van service to and from town for their guests at that price.

Charged me $30 on my card even though it was a free room night and overdrawn my account. I put another card on file at check in for any incidental fees. Told the lady about it and all she can say was, they dont have proof of my bank being overdrawn.

We were not told that this entire hotel was pet friendly upon making reservations. When I checked out I was told by the desk clerk That " you have to ask upon check in if any dog or other pet had been staying in your room " Never heard of that before. If you are a pet lover this place is for you.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable although the lighting was a bit dim. The breakfasts were far better than typical of hotels and the staff servicing the hotel were all very accomodating.

Room was clean. Breakfast was hot and fresh. Big variety, something for everyone. Dining area was clean and very large so you weren't sitting on top of each other, Pool was clean and very refreshing. We will definitely stay here again when we are in town.

We stayed there overnight in the middle of a road trip. The room was large, but seemed dated. Could hear noise from the highway outside. I guess that's part of staying at a motel. Breakfast was nice. Clean and comfortable.

Being our first time in Prescott, AZ ( scoutiing the area for possible retirement), the front desk staff (can't remember his name, was it Larry?) was very kind in giving us the local map and showing us possible places to see in Prescott. (I don't think he knew we were just there for an overnight stay). We were able to drive around the area for awhile. We liked what we saw. We plan to come back again in the future and without any second thoughts, may stay at Best Western Prescottonian again

From clean and comfy accommodations to better than excellent customer service to proximity to local events, Best Western Prescottonian is top notch. I always recommend Best Western to family and friends.

Check in was fast and quick. The folks at the desk were always super great. The rooms were kept clean and the entire property was kept clean. Be sure you ask how to turn left unto Gurley from the motel.

My wife and I arrived after a very long day at the Grand Canyon. I requested a top floor and was told that there was no elevator to the third floor. I took it anyway and was put in the back building. Very large complex. It seemed ideal until the wi-fi would not work. I called the front desk and Taylor tried to help us to no avail. She gave us another room and the wi-fi did not work there either. She then gave us a third room and pre tested the connection which did work. She also helped us to move to the last room. The next morning we went to the best and largest free breakfast I have experienced. They had a fresh yogurt machine which I have never seen. Scrambled eggs both plain and loaded. Sausage patties, biscuits and gravy, potatoes, waffles, grapefruit and cling peaches to go with your cereal or prepared oatmeal. They even had a coffee condiment machine for all of your phoo phoo flavors. Thumbs up!

The best Western is ideally located not too far from the casino and also downtown Prescott was able to walk to both no problem. The hotel was really quiet which allowed for good rest. I did not experience any problems during my stay

This stay was somewhat of a surprise; motels are motels; however, this one was VERY enjoyable - the rooms were modern, exceptionally clean and nicely decorated; the staff was very pleasant; the complimentary breakfast was unbelievably good - a FULL BREAKFAST selection and great quality- never seen the like - and staff kept it stocked and filled. Coffee was great. In a resort area, this one has great value!!!

I stayed during the 4th of July weekend. I arrived and check in was a breeze, especially being a rewards member. The room was a double queen and was a decent size for myself and my two teenage kids. The room was clean and well stocked with shampoo soap and towels. There was a small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The wifi was pretty decent and had no complaints from the teens. If I had one gripe I would suggest mattress replacement pretty quick, I could tell it was due. There was plenty of parking and everything was well lit outside. There was a swimming pool that was nice and warm. The reception staff had towels available upon request. The breakfast was good and kind of typical for BW. The staff was extremely nice and always cleaning and offering help,five star on that. There is a Mexican restaurant on the property and it was quite good. Mention you are staying at the BW and they'll knock 10% off the bill. Keep in mind this isn't a swanky type of place, but it was clean and fit our needs. I would recommend.

The rooms were cleaned daily and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was stocked and had a variety of options. Rooms were large and had microwave and refrigerator which we needed. The rooms are a little old but it has been kept and was comfortable.

Number of visits: 2: first and last time. This is a good answer. Please, notify at check in, if the room was rented to the people with "pets". I do not want stay in the room to feel the fleas from dogs, or the remnants of dogs excrements in the corners.

We visited Prescott during 4th of July & the rodeo so it was very busy. The room rate was reasonable considering the event. Walking distance from Whiskey Row. Friendly staff. Hotel room was clean with comfy beds. Area was convenient and quiet.

No elevator ! Large and clean room (2 x queen) but severely under-lighted. Typical for US hotels, a (plastic polluting) coffee machine, a kettle and Nescafe would be preferred, fridge, microwave, no safe. Poor working aircon. Bathroom is OK, good shower (in bath) with good water pressure. It was quiet at night and we had a good night sleep. Breakfast was OK, again polluting plastic dishes and cutlery, you can also bake a waffle here.

An amazing breakfast buffet included in the room price made this an exceptional experience. We could skip lunch after enjoying all the good food. In addition they served great coffee. Staff did their best to make a good impression and they succeeded.

Best Western has come a long way from where they were 8-10 years ago. The room was well appointed and roomy with both microwave and fridge. The full breakfast was very comprehensive. Will definitely stay again when in Prescott.

The staff and rooms were very nice. Easy check in and check out. The only complaint I have would be to update the rooms. The carpet was old and the bathrooms were small. But my overall experience with the hotel was pleasant.

Located to easily go into downtown Prescott or out to Prescott Valley or North on 89. Rooms are large and comfortable. The bed was in good shape so I slept really well. The breakfast is amazing! The staff is eager to help you. A side benefit is the Mexican restaurant attached to the facility. I enjoyed some of the best tacos I have had in a long time and only had to walk 50 feet to get there.

It always feels like homecoming whenever we get back to the Best Western in Prescott. The wonderful and always pleasant Faith, at the front desk, greeted us with exceptional service. Whenever we see Faith, she always asks how the stay is going and if she could do anything for us. She is definitely one of the best! The Best Western is always accommodating and rooms are always clean. The free breakfast is a great start to your day and having a restaurant on the property is a plus. The room rates are very reasonable and location from town is only a few minutes. We choose to stay at the Best Western for their friendliness, clean rooms, reasonable rates and location.

I generally prefer a hotel with inside rooms versus those with their doors facing the parking lot / street. However, I found this Best Western to be very quiet and safe. Rooms were very clean and recently remodeled. Complimentary breakfast had one of the largest selections I've seen. Quality of food and cleanliness was very good. All in all - great value!

Reservation made 1 month prior to stay and checked in at 2PM. Given 3RD floor walk-up( no elevator) at very rear od motel. Were told no other rooms available out of 300+ rooms in mid-week. With bad knees and husband's cardiac issues and parking the equivalence of half a block away to get to stairs this was a nightmare. I should have gone some place else.

We had a large room and very comfortable beds. The bathroom seemed a little small for the size of the room. Very nice hot breakfast. Easy check in and out. Very convenient to get to our graduation. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Room 104 on the ground floor was spacious and quiet. Taylor at the front desk was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast had a lot of choices and was quite good, except for the coffee, which was instant from a machine. (Tip: try the Expresso Barn right next door which brews it fresh and full-strength.)

Comfortable but not the typical quality of past best westerns I've stayed at. A little run down but comfortable. Able to have my dog present. Flexible check out was nice. Continental Breakfast was good.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The weather was very nice, so was able to sit on the balcony with my husband. The restaurant on premises had really good food. I would stay there again.

I recently stayed at the Best Western Prescottonian and encountered a very unfortunate event. Robbin the General Manager was quick to address and rectify the problem. She went above and beyond my expectations and truly provided exceptional customer service. Thank you Robbin!

We always try to stay at BW when traveling. Great location and breakfast. When I booked I was told by Jason that the room would have a balcony. What he considered a balcony was actually the walkway to the room. There was no way you could sit out and enjoy the view. Also, the sheets on the bed are extremely rough. When we brought it to the attention of the management we were told that is the “new standard” required by BW corporate. She did offer an additional blanket to make it softer.

We have been visiting this hotel since 2012,,and it NEVER lets us down The rooms are very big and roomy here,,clean,,well stocked and the employees,,all around,,are the best! We were here in march on family business,,and so happy to have such a nice, suite, to retire to at the days end. We definitely reccomend this hotel,,also,,they have a very nice,,hot breakfast buffet,,free,,included in you stay!!

Room was fine but we looked out on a wall. Irony was the entrance to the room overlooked a scenic valley. What was the designer thinking. Otherwise, lobby and cleanliness was good. Staff gave us good advice. Just a waste of a potential view.

Great Double Queen, comfortable non-smoking room, microwave, fridge, great night manager from Illinois helping u when we got lost. So many choices for hot breakfast, updated decor, whole new image of BW for me. Even joined the club...

I was very happy with the condition of our room. The beds were very comfortable and we did not have to ask for anything extra, for instance, extra pillows. The room was ready for early check-in and the check in person was very nice.

Room was very clean and well kept. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. Check in and out was fast and easy. Alhough close to the road, there was very little traffic sound. The bed was very comfortable.

I visited here twenty years ago and found an older motel with not much notable about the visit! This year I found a remodeled facility- nice king room, clean, dog friendly and reasonably priced! The breakfast area and meal presentation was the best in years anywhere! The staff was friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the Mexican Restaurant on-site! We had a pleasant two day visit and the accommodations were a plus to the visit!

The desk clerk was very nice and helpful. Turns out she went to high school in the same town where my mom lives in NM. The room was big and clean. We ate at the Mexican restaurant on the hotel vicinity. It was absolutely awful. If you stay there, drive to go out to eat.

Our stay was comfortable as always and staff was there to provide great service especially when we needed help with a couple of problems. Highly recommend this hotel for its service, courtesy and attention to individual needs.

Check in was quick and friendly, the room was nice and clean. The adjacent Mexican restaurant served very tasty chicken quesadilla and chicken tortilla soup.The flan was also great. The service was great.

A down to earth place, old but fairly well kept up. Not the easiest to get in and out of with a vehicle, but I will return. The breakfast was good, but always the same. The staff was very nice, even when their computer went down. I only had to wait 15 minutes more.

This is a nice motel. Individual doors and no long hallways to walk down. Park right outside of your room. The breakfast is the best anywhere, that the breakfast comes along with your stay. You will need to drive if you want to shop downtown.

Had a great stay - room was very clean and beds were super comfortable. We were there for state basketball and there happened to be the biggest snow storm in decades but all went well. Staff was caring and it took no time at all to check in. Continental Breakfast is decent and they kept things pretty well stocked for all the guests. Great stay - would definitely recommend to others and will gladly stay there again.

If you are traveling to Prescott, consider this Best Western Property! Although, it is not within walking distance to the downtown area, it more than makes up for the the 5 min. drive. The staff is phenomenal. My room was immaculate, quiet, comfortable, and if I needed something someone always answered the front desk phone and had an answer. Lovely decor. Excellent Value. The staff was very helpful and friendly during our stay, room was very clean and we appreciated the updated air/heat unit! Breakfast had a lot of options but unfortunately, most of it was gone by the time we arrived. I don't know why but this was one of the loudest rooms I've stayed in. I could hear everything going on outside the room such as people talking outside, guests upstairs just walking, etc. Next time, I'll get a room upstairs!

Housekeeping are thieves and the front desk staff ignored our complaint. They were very unproffessional while checking out. They didn't even realize that the first night was prepaid through a third-party and started yelling at us saying that my AMEX won't process. We don't have an AMEX! It was from the third-party reservation company! Then they charged us for both nights even though the first night was already paid. Finally got it worked out, but cost us an extra $80 anyway. We will never stay at a Best Western ever again.

I always choose to stay with Best Western when I can as I am never disappointed for what I spend on a clean comfortable room. The desk clerk was great and my room next to my friend so we could open the doors between rooms and have a good visit. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I had seen, if not the best. The dining area was very clean and big enough to seat quite a large number of people if needed.

This hotel is very close to restaurants and downtown attractions. The hotel is a very good value. We have stayed at this hotel numerous times. This is the first time we were given a room with a pet odor. We did not report the odor, rather we lit a scented candle to hide the odor. We are confident that if we reported the odor, another room would have been made available.

I have to admit, when we pulled up, the hotel seemed a little worn, but then we walked in and were very pleasantly surprised! Rooms were way more updated than expected from the outside. Very clean, comfortable bed and climate control worked well. Staff are outstanding! Very friendly, helpful and professional. Breakfast was awesome! Baked home fries were kept crispy, biscuits and gravy, real scrambled eggs and sausage that actually was fried and not boiled looking. Great value!

Really enjoyed this hotel. Super clean, great amenities and convenient. Loved the pod coffee maker in the room. Man who checked me in was one of the nicest I have come across in a while. The mexican restaurant was nice, not the best food but very convenient after a long day and the bar was nice. Room has fridge, microwave and coffee maker and plenty of plugs for laptop.

Excellent accommodations and very reasonable price, Nicely centrally located and a great breakfast. Very clean, easy to get to, central to both downtown and Prescott Valley. Just close enough to downtown without all of the noise.

The staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is good; would have enjoyed bacon one of the days. The room was very comfortable and clean. The shower was great and the beds very comfortable. Just a few helpful hints regarding the heater/AC, it's very good but it runs on a remote control that's hanging on the wall away from the unit so the remote has to be taken off the wall and pointed right at the unit for it to do what you want.

We had two rooms booked and checkin was a breeze. Rooms were presentable and had everything we needed. We used room 140 with 2 queens and inner most bed was uncomfortable and saggy. The faucet in the bathroom sink was plugged with debri. We had to remove the strainer to have acceptable water flow. In the other room the water was turned off to the commode! Why? Also in that room the tub faucet handle fell off. After checkin we were using the internet and the connection failed. It came back a little while later. When to call the room next door and the phone didn't work! Called the desk with my cell and the phone system came back promptly. Finally we couldn't get the desk light to work. On checkout we told the desk clerk they might have to repair the light and we were told you have to have the light switch by the door on! Shouldn't we have been told that on checkin?

This is a very nice motel. It is not far from the Square and easy to get to from the road. The staff at the motel are great. Check in with Taylor was quick and a pleasure. Check out with Faith was also great and both times I felt like they truly welcomed my business and was valued as a guest. It had snowed the day before and snow was piled up near the walkway to the room. Richard-I was told that was his name-came and quickly shoveled the snow away from the walkway and made a safe path to the room. The breakfast room was very clean and bright. The selection was great and the food was good. The lady in charge-I did not get her name-kept the place clean, the food filled, and cleared the tables quickly and was very pleasant. The room was spacious, the heater great, WIFI great, and the room was clean. A suggestion-one does not find the tissue box in the normal space (under the sink) but in the wall behind the sink. Everything worked great except for the K-cup coffee maker. It looked like some one put coffee in the water reservoir but in any case the pump did not work. I reported that it did not work and a new one was put in my room with no problem. This is the first, and so far, only motel I have been at with a K-cup coffee maker. It is a quiet motel also. Just an over all great place to stay. There is also Mexican Restaurant on the premises.

Generally the stay of 7 nights was satisfactory and desk personnel were helpful.. My main complaint is that the heating system did not work during the first 3 nights. My main suggestion would be to put folders of cstomer information in the room, including how the heating system works and the breakfast hours. (I missed the first morning breakfast because the dining room was closed.) Also some nonslip material should be put on the floor of the handicap shower..

My wife and I stay here all the time and for the most part we are very happy. Sometimes the ice machine in one location does not operate but there is always one near by. The pool area is nice in the summer. The restaurant there is nice and on campus(Mexican). We have puppies with us and the dog rooms are nice and spacious for the puppies to play with there toys. Very easy to get to the down town area or the casino up on the hill.

This is a trip we take for health reasons a couple of times a year, There is a Veterans hospital/clinic in Prescott. You do not list a catagory for Health, So its business. I guess. The hotel is really nice in everyway. Its not a resort but a homey, clean quiet comfortable,friendly place to come back to after a day of doctors. A+.

My kids love checking in to hotels, desk staff dealt with them as if they were adults, which made their day. Breakfast was great, lots of choice. We asked for a quiet room and thatst what we got. Room was spacious and clean.

My wife and I stayed in the Best Western in Prescott, AZ. Very clean modern looking place. Staff was friendly and professional. Our room was very nice and clean. Only issues we had was our electronic pass keys stopped working twice, but front desk staff fixed the problem ( both times) quickly. Pillows where the only other complaint, but bed was nice. First world problems and all! Lol!We would stay here again. And also recommend this place to everyone.

We chose this motel for its competitive rates. Rooms were large and spacious. Fantastic service. Would not hesitate to stay here again. The motel is close to down town and all shops and restaurants. Loved Prescott and hope to visit again . The guy at reception was fantastic and full of information about places to see and where to eat.

We stayed at the Best Western Prescottonian for 2 nights. The front desk staff were welcoming and helpful. The rooms were a little dated. Our room had a really musty almost cigarette smell to it, even though the entire hotel is a smoke free. The bathroom was a little run down as well. But the room was spacious and perfect for our family of 4. They also have an outstanding full hot breakfast that was included in our stay.

Checked in for a one night stay while visiting Prescott. Price seemed ok so we gave it a whirl. Overall experience was fine. The hotel didn't blow me away, but it served its purpose for the night. Couple of highs and lows I will point out just to make a potential traveler aware of what to expect. The check in was fairly quick. The guy behind the counter was very friendly and very helpful. The lobby itself is small but very nice. The grounds are fair at best. Has sort of a old rundown look and the hotel rooms are right out by the road meaning you park your car and your room is right there. I have never been a fan of those types of rooms because I hate the thought of just anyone being right outside your door, and normally rooms that are not inside of a secured building can tend to get loud at night. I was relieved however when we walked into our room. Very clean sizeable rooms which is what is most important to us. Our room (#226) did have some issues. The water in the shower did not drain very good, the toilet did not flush well, and the heat/ac unit just wasn't working well. Didn't stay on, and kept shutting off. As I feared once the late hours of the night hit there was a group of people outside laughing and screwing around and it was so loud they may as well have been in our room. I should probably point out that the quality of people that stay here are not the greatest and not really what my wife and I are used to. I realize that isn't the hotel's fault so my rating has nothing to do with that. Just thought everyone should know if your looking for middle class to high class people you wont find that here unfortunately. I don't want to make the review sound like total criticism so let me give you the good side now. As mentioned above the rooms are very clean and fairly large. The beds are pretty comfortable and the sheets are very clean. Room had a decent sized tv, a microwave, and also a fridge. Plenty of parking but if you are on the second floor there is no elevators. Now for the best part.....Their breakfast is phenomenal and has a large selection from eggs, sausages, waffles, home fries, cereals, fruits, drinks, toast, oatmeal etc....I have to say my wife and I have stayed at tons of hotel's that have continental style breakfast and this may have been the best one we have seen. But shockingly (for all you bacon lovers like myself) NO BACON!! Overall I don't think we would stay here again just because the price for the night puts you into the same price range as a Holiday Inn Express and a few others in that range and while there was truly nothing majorly wrong with our stay I think there are a few other options we would probably choose before this one. But if you are on a budget, or your looking for something simple and close to everything please do NOT let our review shy you away at all. Most the issues we had (toilet, shower, heat/AC not working properly etc...) are things that most probably wouldn't experience. And to be honest the guy at the front desk was awesome so if we complained I am sure he would have helped out or changed our room, But the temp was perfect outside where we really didn't have to worry about the heat, and the shower (though a nuisance) was bearable. Just had to wait a little bit for everything to drain. So in closing....This isn't the Ritz Carlton but there is nothing wrong with crashing here if your on a budget and having a clean room and a hot shower is your main concern.

My furgirls were welcome. Love the Pet Park! Very clean rooms, comfortable beds! Young man at front desk was very courteous and friendly, made me feel at home! Check out fast and efficient! Will definitely stay there again!

Excellent roomy comforts. Shower was like a massage. Very relaxing. Made use of the blow dryer, steamer and lux coffee machine. Samples were very good quality sundries.Extra large pillows on beds and in number were very comfy.

Fantastic rooms, breakfast was great lots to choose from. Rooms clean. Great price and the staff were all very pleasant. I would stay there again if I was in town again. No problems what so ever was a terrific night stay.

No problems. Pet friendly, good on site restaurant, ok breakfast. Not to much noise. Stayed overnight with family. Used the outdoor pool which was heated, but could have used a bit of cleaning. It was a bit cloudy.

Overall the hotel wasn't terrible. Outside rooms so you could hear people in parking lot and traffic from main road. Stay on 2nd floor because I could only imagine how much you could hear on the first floor. Beware, no elevator!! Overall the room was clean. Shower/bathroom is tiny. Bring your own shampoo, they give you about a teaspoon amount. Lots of construction as well. We thought the hotel would be in walking distance of downtown but it is not!! Breakfast was great! Way more than your average continental breakfast! Waffles, eggs, oatmeal, fruits, bagels, etc!

I recently stayed at a hotel in Prescott that seemed to have it all! On the premises was a restaurant, pool, laundry facilities, dog park and plenty of parking. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are furnished beautifully and clean. There is a fridge and a microwave in each The hotel is right next to a freeway.

Close to campus of Embry Riddle, very nice staff, breakfast is usually very good. Average room, fairly clean. Have stayed here several times, it's nice enough but a little higher priced than I would like.

This was my first time staying at this hotel. The locations was great as it was just an Uber ride to downtown. The breakfast is one of the best that I have had. The breakfast area is cleaned and well organized with its set up. I really appreciate this as some hotels its such a cluster and things are everywhere, but here it was great. It did storm while we staid here, and we discovered that the carpet at the entrance was soaking wet. The water just pours in at the door and is a mess. The bathroom area was clean to the normal eye, but I work in the business and see more then most. I also used my points for both my nights but was charged on my card by the clerk. I called and they said they would adjust it, and email receipt. This did not happen, and I had to call back again, and it was refunded but no receipt. It took over a month before I got the receipt.

From check in to check out our visit was outstanding. On property restaurant, pool and full breakfast, what more can ask for to relax and reflect. Chad at the reception desk was very professional and friendly.

On the plus side, the staff is quite nice and they are dog-friendly. On the minus side...the room is dark and in need of updating/remodeling. The air conditioner is not central and wall-mounted (no matter what temp we set the thermostat, we moved it to 60 degrees, the room was always warm), the refrigerator could never get our items beyond 'cool'. While they are accommodating to dogs, their onsite restaurant's patio had no tables or any way to eat there if you had a pet (a shame as the weather was lovely while we were there). We asked for a list of local restaurants and there were none to be offered (we were told that they 'used' to have a list but no longer available).

I am here for three weeks on a business project and I have to say that the staff are awesome, they took care of me well and made me feel at home. I would specially like to say a thank you to Chad, Faith, Clyde & Taylor at the front desk and specially Chad cause he had to put up with me more. The staff helped me out so much with everything I needed, I asked for the ground level because of my heavy equipment for work and I was accommodated. I had packages coming in and out from FedEx and the staff were so helpful. The breakfast selection were really good and the person in charge in there is very clean and is always cleaning up after my table. The housekeeping staff were very pleasant and made a phone call to my room to make sure I didn't need room service when I had my "Do not disturb sign on" Overall I would have to say my stay was very pleasant because of the awesome staff who were on top of everything. If the management happen to be reading this, please please and I mean please give kudos to your staff and treat them well with lots of love as they are the ones that makes this place a really nice place to stay, so please do something nice for them as they do for the business, after all, you are only as good as your people working for you. Thanks again staff. I will tell my company to send everyone here from now one.

This is a nice hotel, the rooms were clean and up to date. The buffet breakfast was very good. We stayed 6 nights it was homey and quiet except for the construction that was going on nearby. The historic downtown and Whiskey Row is very easy to get to from the hotel. I'll stay there again on my next trip to Prescott.

I'll start out with the good....which is their breakfast. such a nice variety and the lady in charge keeps up with clearing the tables nicely. Cons. Place is crawling with construction workers so there is no place to park in the evenings. You may have a place when you leave but don't expect anything when you get back! a real bummer when you return in the middle of a thunderstorm.We were put out in the back forty where I think they were trying to give us a quieter room away from the construction. Said we had a balcony over there...which we did....but it faced the back of a building. The view was out front so we moved our chairs out there. Biggest deterrent for me is the difficulty getting in and out of the driveway. Will probably try somewhere different next time I'm in Prescott.

Really enjoyed our stay, everything was clean and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was delicious, even the eggs were yummy. The double queen rooms are a comfortable size for a family and the beds were very comfortable.

This is by far one of the nicest places... have stayed here before and will again when in the area.Only disappointment was the decor of the restaurant. It used to be fun and colorful; now seems ordinary and like everyplace else.

The hotel was average in cleanliness and amenities. The location was a little more difficult to get to, you need to make a U-turn to get into the driveway. The breakfast area was very nice and well stocked and staffed.

Have had such good luck with Best Western properties recently we were surprised by the mediocrity of this hotel. It has all the charm of a commercial truck stop. Made reservations over 2 months in advance hoping to get at least a room with a view of some ambience. Got one facing the back wall of the restaurant where workers took smoke breaks and beat cardboard boxes into flatness. Parking a car was tricky with no maneuvering room between giant pickup trucks. The room was large. One out of a potential 4 lights worked. Beds were ancient and squeaky. Sheets slick and thin from years of laundering. Breakfast area was uninviting. Got coffee and left. Insanely overpriced. Best thing I can say is that there were no bedbugs. Ugh.

The rooms are comfy, the amenities are good and the breakfast is outstanding. Faith at the front desk is wonderful, as is the Wednesday morning breakfast room lady (I only met her on Wed morning:)) The only problem I had was the internet did not work until the last night in my room for some reason, but it did not detract from my experience as I have my own internet.

Just want to say that Robin provided me with excellent customer service. You don't experience this anymore and I really appreciated it! Prescott is a nice quiet town and this is the kind of service that you find in these little towns.

I travel to the Prescott area frequently for work and have friends/family in the area as well/ I stay at the Prescottonian every time. You cant go wrong, the price is right great breakfast and the staff is top notch. The restaurant in the plaza is very covenant with good food and a discount when staying at the Best Western. If you are in town this is your place.

Friendly helpful staff, very good breakfast, clean and comfortable. reservation was on a upper floor however staff offered us a room on the lower floor when we arrived, staff recommended on site Mexican restaurant guacamayas was very good, great prices for the amount and quality of the food combination meal $10 - $15. would definitely stay again.

We were in town for a quick trip to drop my daughter at camp. The location is great because it is close to everything. It was clean and the rooms are bigger than many other hotels rooms we have stayed in. If we are in Prescott again, we will stay here for certain.

Stayed two nights as we had an activity planned in Prescott. PROS: friendly staff, plentiful breakfast (better than most hotels), clean/renovated rooms with comfy beds, a lot of housekeeping staff walking the property, outside entrance with parking at your door, conveniently located for all points in Prescott with quick access, very close to restaurants and stores, pool area looked well-maintained, mainly families, seniors, and traveling workers, price lower than other hotels, pet-friendly CONS: outside entrance with parking at your door (if it isn't your car there, it can be noisy), seems like a regular motel for traveling workers (construction, etc.) - a lot of work trucks,our room near the stairs was noisy at times from guests outside, no bathroom fan, no open space/green space for kids or pets- all parking lot, directly located on the main road We would stay again, esp. for the price, but not if we were looking for a resort-type hotel (ex. vacation).

This stay was comfortable. Too bad that the access coming from Prescott Valley was inconvenient and somewhat hazardous. Associated Mexican style restaurant was very good. Complimentary breakfast was more than adequate.

Very nice BW hotel. This place checked all the usual boxes - clean, quiet, neat and tidy. The breakfast was outstanding! I've seen breakfast buffets at restaurants that weren't as nice as the spread this BW put out! The owner of the hotel checked us in and was super helpful. This was the best BW hotel I've stayed in!!

I'm being generous by giving this property a 3 star rating. Overall ok; however, internet was NOT working at all in the rooms; A/C unit was not working properly; very little water pressure in the room when taking a shower (with fluctuating water temperature); and very little lighting in the rooms. Otherwise very clean and friendly staff. Worth it if paying by points (like I did); but not worth it if paying by $$$.

I was in Prescott on some spur of the minute business, and made a reservation at the BW in Prescott. I had meetings in the afternoon, so hoped I might check in early and put food that was in my cooler in the refrigerator. I arrived about 11:00 am. Debbie, I believe, was at the desk. She was so nice and helpful. I got my room - perfect. Got my stuff into the refrigerator, had my meetings, all was perfect. I've stayed at this hotel before, and among the many BWs I stay at, I think it is really great.

We liked our room and the price was better than most places to stay in Prescott. The staff were friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was better than other places we had stayed. Not far from downtown, and convenient for getting around Prescott.

This property is located just 2 minutes outside of downtown Prescott close to the major expressways making it ideal for daily excursions to Camp Verde or Sedona. It is very clean, safe and the full breakfast was a major plus. The property is non-smoking and our room was very fresh and clean. This is an older motel that is really striving to meet traveler's desires, and providing helpful info on local attractions. One of the most spacious breakfast rooms I have seen in motels, with a good selection of hot and cold food/beverages. Rooms could use more light, a pet peeve of mine as older eyes need more.

2 nights, solo traveler. Here's a summary: I was in a 2nd (middle floor) room #250 in bldg at East side of property Plusses: - Room was pretty 'up to date', felt modern/comfortable and very quiet - Bed/bedding was really good, towels were very nice quality - CATV and Wi-Fi worked fine - wall heat/air cond. unit worked well but was noisy as wall units typically are - hot breakfast (6-9am) was just 'OK" Negatives: - Booked direct about a week in advance, upon check-in at 5pm on a Monday was told they had no more ground floor rooms (I had requested this) and clerk admitted they missed the comment on my booking. Add'l comments: Most rooms are set back a decent distance from the highway, the building I was was very quiet, virtually no street or other noise. Main entrance /driveway: need to be cautious when exiting and going right onto Gurley St. as one is basically entering a 3 lane highway with traffic moving at 40+ MPH from a standing start - Don't even attempt to go left, use the street and exit behind the complex.

We have been staying at the Best Western the last few years and there is a reason we keep coming back. The staff is probably the friendliest we have ever come across, this includes the front desk, breakfast personnel, housekeeping, maintenance, and etc. They all have smiles and always ask how the stay is going. The rooms are good size, clean and neat. The morning breakfast is a great way to start the day and there is something for everyone.We were there in early May and even though the hotel appeared full it was nice and quiet. It is always a great start to your stay when the person checking you in makes you feel extremely welcome. Faith, has checked us in the last few times we have stayed here and could not have asked for a better person. Located a few minutes from the downtown square and easy access to both highways.

Excellent place and well worth the cost. The staff was very helpful and the room had many amenities. Our room looked out over a grove of trees. Our room was immaculate an d we had a quiet restful night. We plan on coming back an d staying longer.

Located between historical downtown and Watson lake, this BW is nice and clean. The facility itself is reasonably comfortable but some updates can be used, especially mattress and the bedding. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. I left a personal item behind and the staff quickly rediscovered it and shipped it back. Thanks!

Many pluses for this motel. Spacious room with great amenities. The continental breakfast was outstanding. Great customer service from all the staff. We enjoyed our stay here! The motel is not far from may stores and restaurants in Prescott. Parking is tight and the location makes it difficult to get in and out on to highway. Regardless this place is very nice.

I often look to Trip Advisor for recommendations so that is why I am writing this review.This is a great property. Years ago we used to stay at Best Westerns but then it seemed liked they kind of went down hill. The properties were very uneven but I am glad to say Best Western has really upped their game. At least the properties where I stayed. Coffee, warm cookies, free newspapers and flavored water in the lobby, comfortable beds, lots of pillow choices, clean room, internet, place to charge devices, refrigerator, microwave, nice breakfast with egg dish, sausage, potatoes, waffles, hot and cold cereal, bread and sweet roll choices, fruit, juices, yogurt, coffee, tea, etc.. Very well trained friendly staff. A lot to be proud of at a reasonable price.

Very clean. Extremely comfortable. The Mexican food was absolutely great at the restaurant and the entire staff could not have been better. Breakfast was plentiful and tasteful. Overall this was the best property we stayed at during our visit to Arizona.

I have stayed at this location many times. It has an excellent staff. They are very caring and very helpful. The rooms are clean and nice. The outside of the facility is clean well taken care of. The hotel is in a very good location. The breakfast is one of the better ones on this style of hotel circuit.

The hotel and staff were friendly. The hotel was clean, but the breakfast service was slow. It was easy to get to and parking was great. No problems getting a room on the bottom floor. The front desk was very accommodating. Overall we recommend this hotel.

Great place yo stay. Staff treat you with down home hospitality. The restaurant next door has a good menu with a good value breakfast in the hotel was more than we could ask for. Definitely would stay again.

This is a somewhat older motel. The bathroom fixtures work fine, but are older. Our room was clean and had all the usual amenities. The towels are old - no fluff, quite thin and hard. The pillows are quite big - we prefer smaller. The breakfast was excellent - lots of choices hot and cold. The location is a bit awkward getting out to drive back downtown, but it worked fine for us. We would stay here again.

Our party included a senior citizen who complained bitterly about carrying bags up stairs. If you need an elevator, choose a different property. Otherwise, this is a motel with outside door access, and a walk to the breakfast room. Not much in the way of views, but handy to the highway and the amenities of the area. Clean, nice breakfast room, and friendly staff.

Our stay was very brief, but highly memorable. A VERY clean and spacious room, VERY caring personnel, very satisfying breakfast. Even TV remotes were sanitized after the previous guest(s). There was plenty of parking, the location of the hotel is convenient.

Staff was great, very helpful. Had a double queen room and was very nice and comfortable. We were able to have our dog stay which was a huge relief since she's prone to seizures. Definitely coming back!

We had a very nice stay here. We were visiting friends we haven't seen for a very long time. Two Veterans that hadn't seen each other since they were in Vietnam almost 50 years ago. Touring the town was also enjoyable.

I have always enjoyed staying at this location over the many years of visiting this city. I enjoyed it so much more now that Best Western took it over. It was easy and effortless to check in, staff were friendly and pleasant and helpful.

As we approached our hotel (look and act quickly as you approach from the east or you will miss your left turn), my first thought was that this is an older place with dinky rooms. I personally hate small hotel rooms, they make me feel like a mouse in a cracker box. In actuality, the rooms at this Best Western are huge, lots of space, a welcome surprise. The lobby looks like it had not been updated in years, but the staff was excellent and helpful. Breakfast was also a pleasant surprise. One never knows what they are going to get at any given hotel, and I often wonder if the food is of sufficient quality. Happy to say that the breakfast here is top-notch and very satisfying. There is also a Mexican restaurant on site, but we did not visit. It is hard to find value in the hotels at Prescott or Prescott Valley. This Best Western seems to be aware of that and made our stay a pleasant one.

uncomfortable mattress, mattress squeaked and you could feel the springs of the bed, my husband and I woke up sore, otherwise room was clean, front desk service was nice and helpful, breakfast was great.

Most Best Westerns we've stayed at are hotels with rooms opening into hallways. This was more a motel with rooms access from the outside; however the Room was adequate and fairly clean. Breakfast was very good.

I'm never disappointed with my Best Western stays and this hotel was the same. Always can count on a safe environment, friendly service, clean, good internet- all necessary criteria when I plan a stay.

My stay at theis hotel was pretty good. The staff was friendly, room was clean & comfortable. The only huccups were that the in room fridge was beyond tempermental. It would either barely cool or completely freeze anything you put in there (the cucumbers, hard boiled eggs, and celery for my lunch never stood a chance). The only other thing was that the only available ice machine, which was broken the last 2 days of my stay, was in a totally separate building. I normally wouldn't mind except for the fact that it was 16*-40* outside, making for quite a frigid trek after working 14 hour shifts. Aside from those 2 things, my stay was quite enjoyable. The room was a good value for the price. I would stay there again.

Right off the highway coming in to Prescott, the Best Western is easy to find. I checked in, but retaliated I wouldn't be able to climb the steps to the second floor. I went back and explained that i have respiratory problems and need the main floor. In 10 seconds, I had a different room. Wow, I was impressed and grateful.

This truly is a hidden gem in the pines. From checking in at the front with Faith, to sleeping on a wonderful bed with big comfy pillows, to the complimentary hot breakfast, you couldn't as for more. My husband and I will be returning for many more trips and the only place we will stay is at the Prescottonian.

First morning we woke up to people doing construction on the hotel and when I complained to the manager she informed me that there was not anybody working on the hotel. The second morning I woke up to the same company working on the hotel.

Only stay here when we come to the Veterans clinic in Prescott. Always excellent for all services and the employees are great... Good wifi, refrig and microwave and coffee maker in room. Older motel but nicely renovated and kept up to par always.

Clean, comfortable, quiet, & spacious rooms with a friendly, helpful staff. Great central location near downtown and the infamous Whiskey Row with good eats and shopping. Plus this hotel is pet friendly. Couldn't ask for anything better.

This hotel was awesome from the beginning, greeted at the door , friendly staff , great aminities and breakfast wasn't bad at all. Big rooms lots of space for bigger families. Direct Tv service, free WiFi and speedy checkout available ??

The breakfast is great, food good variety and very good. The man in charge when I was there was also great. Room was OK EXCEPT hood over AC/Heater to direct air away from drapes blew cold air on me all night when I was in bed. When heat was on OK but when temp was reached blower continued and blew cold air. Kerug machine I did not like-PERSONAL OPINION-but one cup at a time???? This is the only motel I have ever stayed at that did NOT HAVE A BOX OF TISSUES OR TISSUES IN THE ROOM. I did not like the bed but it may have been because it was a KING bed and I do not like those. Again, PERSONAL OPINON. The major problem was lady at desk. I do not feel she was all that friendly when I checked in and out and I did not feel I was a valued guest. I asked when I checked in if it would be a problem if I decided to stay one more night-I was told IT WOULD NOT BE. The DAY BEFORE I was to check out I asked if I could have the room another night. I was told the room was reserved (this was in December and the motel was almost deserted-very few guests-during my stay). She claimed it was a handicapped room. I told her it was NOT A HANDICAPPED ROOM-she refused to believe me. She argued with me and was only satisfied when she asked 'does it have a walk in shower' and I said "no." She then spent some 10 minutes "moving things around" and could find only two rooms I could change to-one with steps to it and one where I would have to park and the walk around almost an entire area to the room. She claimed they were getting a lot of people the next night. And that might have been true--but to argue with me and not believe me when I said, several times, that I did not have a handicapped room-that was just not right-I said I did not have one, her computer should have told her that (and I had my packet with the key cards and room number in front of her so it is not a matter of mistaking the room number). Would I stay there again when in Prescott? Probably not. I have noted I wanted to stay another night in other motels, in particular CHOICE CHAIN and have never been given the problems I got at this mote. OK, so I had to change rooms but to basically calla me a liar or not smart enough to know what a handicapped room was--that was beyond reason.

Hotel was in a really convenient location. Staff were friendly. The room was nice, maybe starting to get a little outdated. It was relatively clean but not quite up to what I expected. The hotel donated our stay to the rotary club which was greatly appreciated. Breakfast guy was super friendly. Breakfast was filling. Mexican restaurant on property was quite good. I would stay again.

This hotel has been in Prescott for many years, stayed at it about 30 years ago and never thought to stay here again. A new building was added and we stayed in these rooms. They were new, clean, fresh. Needs were comfy, carpet was clean, amenities were new. Best Western has definitely improved their rooms, great value. Will definitely stay again.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone staff and amenities were great. The hotel was nicely situated between downtown the casinos in the University casual dining and fast food we are readily available staff was excellent breakfast was hot and ready Internet works perfectly In the rooms ready when we got there

The hotel was clean, close to downtown and the casino. The Guacamaya restaurant was very good such that we ate dinner there both nights that we were in Prescott. The breakfast spread of eggs, sausage and ham, oatmeal, cereals, waffle and biscuits and gravy was very good and well supplied by the attendant. The room was freshly painted, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The hotel is an older hotel that is well maintained and was worth the price.

There was nothing about my stay that was not perfect-wonderful room, great location and a staff that far exceeded my expectations. This is the largest motel in Prescott and although it is older, a recent remodeling makes the rooms feel and look new-granite in the bathroom, lots of lighting, refrigerator wth a freezer, microwave, large flat screen TV with lots of channels and a built in TV guide, comfortable chair and desk, and coffee maker with a selection of coffee. My huge room was super clean as were the common areas and bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. When it came time to leave I was headed to Hwy 69 (on my way to I-17) and it was only a few hundred feet from the motel. Guacamaya's, a Mexican Restaurant, is in the same building as the motel office and even though I am not a big fan of Mexican food, I enjoyed my meal there. There are also many restaurant options in the historic district which is nearby. Breakfast in the morning was great. There were far more choices than I expected, real dishes and silverware were provided, an attendant was busy keeping all the items filled and hot items hot, there were windows and plenty of space to sit in the dining area and the tables even had holiday centerpieces. An accessible back entrance is provided to the breakfast area for guests who have trouble with steps. Parking is in front of your room and there is an area for oversized vehicles. Even though I had a room facing Hwy 89, I heard no traffic noise as the motel is set back from the street. Lastly, the staff here is the best. My thanks to manager Debbie and all the employees who went out of their way to ensure my visit was pleasant. I look forward to my next stay.

Only stayed one night and had a very quiet room. The room was clean and comfortable. Restaurant at the complex was Mexican and pretty good. My only complaint was i asked for a downstairs room and i got a room i had to go down two flights of stairs. I asked for a room where my wife did not need to go up or down stairs as she has asthma. Over all the room was pretty good.

It was a nice hotel, some rooms have really nice mattresses, unfortunately I didn't get that room! My only complaint was the dang mattress being really uncomfortable other than that it's a good place to stay.

Friendly staff good breakfast and clean rooms easy accessible to stores and the downtown area. The rooms are quite and the parking is big and easy to get into and out. There pool is an outdoor pool so not open in the winter months that is the only downfall

We came into town very late and found this Best Western on my phone by putting in the city. When we arrived we and other guests banged on the door forever to no avail. After many phone calls to the hotel and banging on the door someone came out. They were sorry and got us rooms right away. The rooms were amazing, clean ,comfortable. We left early the next day so used none of the other offered extras.

The place was clean and accommodating for my family and I. My dad needed special attention and they set us up in a handicap friendly room, close by to the Breakfast area/Lobby. The breakfast was amazing! I'd recommend staying here! It was a great price and the staff was friendly.

We enjoyed the lodging stay and the staff were friendly. No problems on check in or check out. We will stay again if available in the future. The building were nice and cozy. Parking was plentiful. And staff provided guidance on traffic departure on to main roads.

I have stayed here several times and with the exception of two things, it's always been a good experience. 1. The pillows suck! Of course, this is normal with Best Western 2. The restaurant attached to the hotel has the ABSOLUTE WORST Mexican food I've ever had! There was no flavor to anything. That said, it's a great hotel

This is a clean, beautiful hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful, they made us feel like family. They have an awesome hot breakfast buffet every morning, free wifi, cable tv, a pool, ice and vending machines. It was a quiet room, slept very well. There is a mexican food restaurant right next to hotel with a very good bar, offering a variety of margaritas! We had a wonderful stay here, and highly reccomend it, and rate it a,10!!

I stayed here for 6 days while researching the area for relocation. After reading the TripAdvisor reviews, I decided this was the best deal for the money ... even though it was a little higher than others. So glad I made this my home base. A lovely lady named Faith, greeted me and explained everything. I picked the "quiet side" and it was! It was the quietest stay I think I've ever had! (Look for "Faith" and request the backside of the facility.) NOTE: There is no elevator = stairs for upper levels. The convenience of the onsite Mexican Restaurant was perfect for dinners and a margarita! The Prescottonian's breakfast buffet was one of the best ever! Excellent staff and good hot food. While not the newest nor fanciest hotel, it's clean, comfortable and with great staff. I will be coming back for another visit in spring - I highly recommend you enjoy this delightful place too.

I like to be able to park in front of the room. Easy unloading and you can keep an eye on your vehicle. The rooms are very spacious and clean and pet friendly. The buffet breakfast was very good. Great selection of eggs, sausage, biscuits, waffles with toppings, oatmeal, fruit, pretty much anything you could want. The only negative I could say about the Prescottonian is that the air conditioners don't work too well. They look new, but must be programmed. I have stayed in 3 different rooms and none have really cooled the room to the temp selected.

Old motel, was adequate, but not wonderful. Employees were excellent. Prescott was a very nice town to visit, lots of galleries, restaurant options. We visited a nice western museum and had a nice short hike across the road from the museum.

Nice hotel. Quiet, great beds and pillows. Staff are always accommodating and pleasant. Full breakfast which is always great and offers a variety of food selections. Clean rooms. In room coffee is with coffee pods and just ask for more pods and you get them.

This is a clean hotel with a very nice staff. The ladies in the breakfast area are wonderful and put on quite a spread of pretty much anything you might want to eat. We had to go to Prescott and Prescott Valley so the hotel was conveniently located for us with easy frwy access.

Basic, clean accommodations at a reasonable price. Breakfast is excellent. Lots of traffic noise at the front of the property. Maybe it's quieter if your room is in the back?? The Mexican restaurant on site is terrific!

Great rooms and excellent breakfast. The only thing I didn't like were the pillows. Too big and not comfortable will ask for different pillows the next time I go there. Close to everything. Close to the VA hospital with easy access.

Staff was very nice. Location was perfect for where we wanted to go. Rt 89/69 interchange are right at hotel. We took 89 to 89A for the scenic drive through Jerome and into Sedona. Downtown Prescott was very close and we ate there. Rosa's and the Gurley Street Grill were very good. We had our own balcony and the room was quiet, clean and updated. Breakfast was above average. Potatoes, eggs, sausage, waffles etc….

I really enjoyed my stay. The only issue was getting a key that opened the door but i believe the machine needed to be updated. would recommend this hotel to others. willbe returning to prescott again and will stay here.

very close to historic downtown. We came on monday thru sat. Was great during week as hotel was not busy. We left before it got too busy, but was a great base for sightseeing to flagstaff, cottonwood, clarkdale and Jerome, as well as 5 min or less to historic Prescott.

Wonderful stay, really enjoyed the convenience and quality of the restaurant. Room was lovely and comfortable. My family and I had a wonderful time. The breakfast buffet was perfect, everyone was able to get what they want.

If you have read any of my previous reviews, you will know by now that I am in love with the Best Western hotel brand because of the very consistent great standard they always provide, and this motel did not ket us down. Their rooms were large, well furnished and extra comfortable. Again their staff were super friendly and accommodating. Great swimming pool and restuarant on site with an very good breakfast included in a very reasonable pricing. I could not fault this motel.

We stayed here over a weekend. The location is at the crossroads of 87 and 69, not too far from historic downtown. Easy to get wherever we needed to go. The check in process was easy and the front desk staff were very friendly. The room was clean and kept up. The bed and pillow were amazing! I even looked up the pillow on line to try to order it! They offer an extensive free breakfast in the morning with eggs, two kinds or meat, make your own waffles, cereals and other breakfast fare. The staff was very attentive there too. All in all a great stay.

I stayed at this dumpy road side motel while my daughter was on a camping trip in the area. They put me in my room late. It was very dismal, and everything was sticky. Hard to get comfortable, but I just needed to crash after a long day. The next morning I went to shower and noticed blood on the hairdryer cord. I immediately went to the front desk, where Faith couldn't be bothered. I told her I was going to get breakfast, then meet the Housekeeping supervisor at my room. I went to the buffet to grab something to eat before they closed up in 45min. Everything was empty. No eggs, waffle mix, fruit, potatoes, oatmeal. Sausage, ham and toast were my choices. I went back to the front desk and let faith know I was heading to my room to wait for Robin. She came in @10 minutes later and took the hairdryer. She then put me in another room where I dropped my things and followed her out. My mistake for not inspecting. I left for a bit and came back to wash my hands. The sink was covered in what appeared to be sticky mouthwash and dog hair. There were hair clippings in the sink and hair in the shower. I loaded my belongings and went back to the front desk and told them I was checking out. Faith told me my receipt would be emailed and i asked "what receipt? I'm not paying for this room." She advised me that since I booked 3rd party, she couldn't do anything. I told her I wanted something in writing, so I had to wait for Robin to come out of an interview. Robin and I went back to the second room where she was also taken back by the fact that the room hadn't been cleaned properly. At that point she walked me to a suite because that's all they had left due to festivals in the area. We checked the room and it was clean. I dropped my things and went out for the day. The next morning I left early. I emailed Debbie, the hotel manager asking for them to make good. She denied. She claimed it was hair dye on the blow dryer and they replaced it, then told me the maintenance guy had done some work on the sink in the second room and forgot to tell housekeeping. Lol. Ok. Then she said I was upgraded to a suite and not charged extra, so that was my discount. Again, there were no other rooms. Not to mention, I see that rooms here are $85, and I paid $339.00 for 2 nights!!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE. It's disgusting and the management is horrible! There are plenty of hotels in the area, so shop around. I'm posting pictures from both rooms....

This motel went above and beyond. The room was spacious, clean, quiet. Beds were comfortable. Added bonus with HBO. We had a full breakfast that staff heartily maintained. Close by our room was a cute secluded patio table where we would finish our day with happy hour. Truly couldn't ask for more. Would stay here again.

The hotel is in a convenient location. Easy on and off the freeway. Staff was warm, friendly and helpful. My room was spacious and comfortable. My am breakfast was ample and tasted good. There's a very nice Mexican restaurant on the premises.

I was completely surprised at the cleanliness and quality of this hotel. The room was great, and quiet. The free breakfast was amazing and the best complementary breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. Well Done! You just became my go to hotel in Prescott!

We had five adults that stayed in the two-room suite. Front office desk was very friendly both upon arrival and departure. Ample amount of room. Very clean. Conveniently located. No complaints whatsoever.

This is the first time in 10 years I've stayed with Best Western. I planned a last minute trip and they were the best deal I could find. I have been on this trip for 9 days and I will tell you that the Best Western Prescottonian was a true gem. The staff are ultra friendly & helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and I slept so good I didn't want to get out of bed and go about my business.The breakfast was the best I've encountered in my recent travels. Fresh cooked eggs, 2 meats, potatoes, fresh fruit and on and on. By far the #1 I've had in 2 years. The man taking care of the breakfast room was friendly and so personable it was a pleasure to have a hearty meal and he created a friendly environment and people actually conversed with strangers. I will be back to Prescott again and will make damn sure I stay with them again. Oh, by the way, there was a good Mexican Restaurant right next door that you walked to. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Our stay at BW in Prescott AZ was pleasant. Clean. Pet friendly. A good breakfast spread and Mexican restaurant next door. Staff is very nice and the location is good. We will go back to this BW next time we visit Prescott.

Excellent motel! People were friendly and breakfast was great. Will use again when in Prescott. They even help my wife with her allergies for gluten free. We had a very clean room and bed was real comfortable.

This was really one of the best hotel stays I have ever had. The room was huge. It was very clean. The breakfast was amazing. They had it all. Cereal, yogurt, muffins, pastries, donuts, hot items, breads and fresh made waffles with all the fixings! The hotel staff were SO nice. Best customer service I have had in awhile. I will definitely be staying at this hotel from now on when I visit Prescott two-three times a year.

Had a bit of trouble finding hotel sat nav lol But when we arrived reception was excellent and after a long journey made us at home Hotel was very good and very easy to get to the historical Centre which was great.Dont forget Willow park which was stunning

The only reason I didn't give this hotel an Excellent rating is because the beds were not comfortable, they were very hard. Everything else was fantastic! Front desk staff was professional and friendly, the room was very spacious and clean, the breakfast was not only good with a wide variety of food, but was also served on glass plates with metal silverware; no paper plates or plastic utensils here. Location was great, close to Whiskey Row and in the opposite direction close to the casinos. This allowed us to have a picnic lunch in the park across the street from Whiskey Row.

This is a Best Western, and met my expectations for a Best Western Hotel. I have stayed at Best Western Hotels all over the country, and have come to expect a level of comfort and service from them. This place met those expectations.

Requested a NON smoking room only to be given a room that smelled like an ash tray. Our AC would only stay on for about 5 min before shutting down. I got ZERO sleep because it was warm and I kept having to get up to turn air on. Terrible nights stay and this was the night before a 57 mile bike race. Terrible experience.

This Best Western Motel is located in Prescott, Arizona It is a large motel complex involving several two story build- ings, ample outside stairways, no elevators. The rooms are nice,but one complaint would be the bathrooms are too small. An additional personal complaint would refer to my wife's physical handicap. We were placed in a room quite some distance from car parking, which required considerable walking. Additional walking was involved for us to attend and thoroughly enjoy breakfast. We stayed two nights. My wife requested softer pillows, which were promptly brought. The motel was located close to our business connection and accessible to any other usage we needed. All though doubt- ful, should we return to Prescott, we'll definitely stay at this Best Western Motel.

Rooms were ok, no couch though. The restaurant was fabulous and the free breakfast was good. The location was wonderful, close to everything. Prescott valley with shopping centers not very far away. I would stay again.

I was fortunate to get a ground level room and staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good. It included eggs and meats, waffles, yogurt, biscuits and gravy, cereal and fruit. Beds were comfortable. The rooms were clean but mine had a smoky smell although it said a no smoking room.

We have stayed at this Best Western a few times and always a pleasant experience. Faith, at the front desk upon check in, was fantastic. She takes time with you and makes you feel you are a valued customer. Faith was also there a few days later as we checked out and made sure we had a pleasant stay. We could not have had a better person take care of us. The room is good size, had 2 queens, and a nice view facing north. Our room was very clean, comfortable and had a great night sleep for the 3 nights we were there. The breakfast was great and a good start to the day. The breakfast room is a short walk from your room which makes it very convenient. The breakfast staff kept everything clean and full, I give a lot of credit to them to help people start their day. Next time I go to Prescott, this Best Western will come first to mind when I book.

I have returned because of my prior experience with this hotel. The buffet breakfast is great( 2 types of meat, 2 styles of eggs, waffles, fruit, juices, and all the fixings, the employees seem to care and the room is always clean. The room has everything I need-frig, microwave, coffeemaker, hair dryer, iron, and coffee maker.

This hotel looks like a prison barracks and is located along a very busy highway. The pool is very tiny and sits next to the highway. The exterior of the building is cement blocks and the surrounding neighborhood looks desolate. It was very disappointing.

I would have rated Excellent if it weren't for the slow restocking of the breakfast items. Room was large, the king size bed was comfortable, and no issues with the room. The staff was friendly, and I had no problems with the internet. Location was good, a 20 minute walk to "Whiskey Row" and downtown.

I have stayed here twice, and will always return when in Prescott. The staff are super helpful and friendly. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the pillows are made of happiness. The room refrigerator is actually big enough to put stuff in. The breakfast buffet is good with lots of options.

We have stayed at Best Westerns before, but this one definitely does not meet the quality we have experienced in our previous visits to Best Western. The room smelled smoky, the floors creeked and the air conditioning unit was subpar. I would not recommend this hotel.

Friendly staff & helpful staff. The hotel grounds are well kept. My room was neat, clean and everything was in working order. The crown jewel of this Best Western is the breakfast. Clean dinning area & a large selection of food. The breakfast here is by far the best breakfast I've had out of the last 12 hotels I've stayed at this year.

Need to have standard size toilets. The toilets are suitable for grade school children. The breakfast is a good selection of hot and cold items. The entry and departure to the hotel is hard because the hotel is in the middle of two converging roads.

This hotel is great! Great staff, easy check in, full hot breakfast, pool and restaurant on site. We've stayed here many times and have always had a pleasant experience. Close to the Fwy. and close to downtown without all the noise.

Stayed at the BW one night room was large and roomy. Breakfast in the morning was a buffet style of hot foods also had cereal, fresh fruit and yogurts. More than I expected. I even complemented the cook on his oatmeal and assortment of toppings.

This Hotel is the Best place ever. Great stay for us and our dog. Close to town close to the highway. Close to a great Mexican restaurant. very close to gas station. We stay here every time we are in Prescott.

Prescott AZ is a beautiful place and BW complimented it nicely. The rooms where great for the price and we were very comfortable the whole time. The breakfast is very nice and the staff where wonderful! For a 2.5 star it is very clean and comfortable with everything you need to have a great stay for business or a family vacation. I would highly recommend this BW to anyone who is traveling to Prescott!

We made our reservations (online) about a week and half prior to our arrival. Check in was simple, the clerk at the front desk (sorry I forgot your name) was welcoming and friendly. Good customer service! The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The area was quiet which made for a pleasant stay. Wi-fi is reliable! (some hotels aren't!!) The breakfast was good, and check out (called from our room) was easy. We have stayed at many Best Westerns and this one ranks good. Recommend this BW Prescottonian.

Great room, wonderful breakfast, nice location. Great value, wish I would have found this hotel sooner for some of our previous trips. We enjoyed our stay. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit out to Arizona. Maybe next time we will be there longer so we can enjoy more of the amenities.

I have been to Prescott many times and this is the first time I stayed at the Best Western Prescottonian....It was a very nice visit and the hotel was very clean and the people working there were all very nice and helpful. I would recommend it to anyone who asked where a good place to stay while visiting Prescott.

I was there with 8 friends to celebrate a birthday we were in King Suite room. This entire stay was a HOT MESS from the get go! Front Desk Staff was rude, uneducated in the policies and quite frankly I believe one of the workers at check in was drinking on the job or had several cocktails before as she smelled like a alcohol distillery. I checked in and paid $536.25 up front in cash for my 2 night stay, as we were all sharing the room and my 8 friends all pitched in cash to pay for the room. The staff wanted to charge another $536.25 on my credit card "hold for incidentals" I told them this large amount was unnecessary hold since I paid cash ($536.25) up front for room and the balance was paid which insured I would “skip out” as the front desk clerk said without paying!! Clearly I was paid in full as I had paid $536.25 up front in cash!. I was willing to have $50-$100 on hold for incidentals but no more. They continued to argue and tell me if I was not willing to let them charge a hold for $536.25 on the card they would not help me and I would have to find another hotel room, AGAIN I REPEAT! I had 8 people meeting me to stay at the hotel for the birthday celebration. TOO BE CLEAR AGAIN! I paid them $536.25 up front in cash for the balance of the room paid in full. After about 20 minutes back and forth, arguing and being treated like I was some idiot, heathen who was going to run a crack house from the room they agreed to hold $100 on my card excessive if you ask me since they had $536.25 in cash, but I didn't want to argue anymore and make my friends wait any longer than the 25 minutes they had been waiting in the car! The room smelled like stale wet carpet, the floor (carpet) made our feet black when we walked around without shoes, we found several bugs crawling in the window areas and the stairs leading to the parking lot and room were filthy with old wet toilet paper, wrappers, cigarette butts etc… another group of my friends rented a single room and had to be moved because of 2 live cockroaches crawling in the room!!! Well as I went to check out on Sunday 7/30, the girl at the counter told me I had a $100 balance due AGAIN I PAID $536.25 UP FRONT IN CASH FOR THE ENTIRE ROOM BALANCE AT CHECK IN!! I proceeded to remind her that the receipt shows I was paid in full, ANOTHER 25 minutes later and after several calls to Managers, they agreed someone made a mistake when they input my $100 hold as a "amount due" rather than refund for hold! Your Front Desk Staff spoiled my stay from the get go and then ruined it even more when I left. You need to clean the carpets in the rooms, spray for bugs, freshen up the décor and smells and hire people who belong in customer service and have a clue about how to run a hotel! The ONLY saving grace was the gentleman running the Breakfast Buffet, he was wonderful and polite and attentive! Make him your Front Desk Manager please!

Left some expensive wireless headphones ans charging cord which was bright red. Called right away realizing I did leave these items. Low and behold no one found them. There is no possibility they were missed!!!Someone on the staff has a new set of headphones now. 3rd time staying there. Will not return!

Room was nice and large. Location convenient to town. Hotel cleaning needs improvement. I don't think the floor in the bathroom had been mopped in months, and the carpet seemed dirty. Walk across the floor, and your socks will be black. Room was supposed to be non smoking, but had a smell. Breakfast food choices were good.

This is our "home" of choice when in Prescott. They have recently updated their room décor and bed linens/pillows which we greatly appreciated. Always friendly and clean. Close to Old Prescott as well as Prescott Valley.

The hotel is centrally located to downtown (5 minutes), and very easy to find. The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was big and enjoyable. A great value for the price. We will definitely stay there again.

Needs to be upgraded too old and dirty. Carpet very dirty and the room had a very old odor. Air conditioning needs to be updated decor needs to be fresher looking. Staff was very accommodating. Location was average.

Because this hotel is an exterior hotel... stairwells and balconies on the outside, it can be very noisy. We could hear them through the window and our room was located right by the stairwell of course. The foot traffic kept us up and the loud guests who don't seem to realize that just because you're outside doesn't mean people inside can't hear you...they are in fact TRYING TO SLEEP. It's not necessarily the hotels fault, but we will not stay here again.

I am a business traveler and find this hotel a great stay. It has comfy bed and pillows - although i travel with my own pillow. Breakfast has something for everyone. It is a recommended stay and i will stay again.

The hotel is very similar to a Motel 6. Extremely basic. The rooms are non-smoking, which is perfect, but some guests sit on the stairs while smoking and it comes into the rooms via the AC. There are cigarette butts all over the stairs and parking lot. The housekeeper even smelled of cigarettes. The front desk women are super nice and friendly. The breakfast might have been great, but because it was a full house, they were out of nearly everything. There was a "No Biscuits" sign next to the gravy. So, I went to get the oatmeal and that was out too. There was still an hour left of breakfast! Also, the floors on the 2nd floor are very creaky. We will not be staying here again.

Great place with all around great cleanliness and service. They just need to update their google ad with new sign, and show that it is in fact an up to date facility. The continental breakfast had an excellent variety in addition to having an extremely well kept and clean area. I would certainly recommend this Best Western based off of many other continental breakfasts I have had that were lackluster.

We will not stay here again. Teens hopped the fence and came to the pool--at least 5 and more were on their way. The hotel has cameras watching the pool but no one seemed to care. We reported it the next day and it was an attitude like oh well. I will say that we enjoyed the breakfast and the staff in the breakfast room was great--it was the best part of our stay.

Everyone was friendly. The price was fair. We did not use the pool. They have a nice buffet breakfast. The only negative- they need a true dog area.... Not overflow parking. That being said.. We will be back.

Love this hotel! The location is convenient for hiking, kayaking, gambling, eating! Free, hot breakfast with plenty of food choices and friendly staff to assist. Front desk staff provided maps and designated some favorite restaurants, hiking trails, lakes. Rooms were clean, comfortable. Our only nuisance was the noise of the airconditioner.

Nice rooms, great breakfast, friendly staff. We chose this hotel because we were in Prescott to attend a friend's memorial service and it was located between our friend's home in Prescott and the church in Prescott Valley. We are also Rewards members, so we often choose a hotel in the chain. The rooms were clean. the breakfast was outstanding and the on-property Mexican restaurant on the premises was very good.

We came for the Elevate Music Festival and decided to stay the night at this hotel. When we arrived we noticed a bunch of ants coming from the back door up into the microwave. We walked back to the lobby and asked if we could either be moved or if they could take care of it. Allen had contacted maintenance and came back to tell us they would take care of it while we were gone. I asked him for someone to call us if there was any issues. We came back around midnight and noticed there were still ants in the room so my husband walked back to the lobby again to a man with red hair (he didn't get his name). The gentleman said there were no more rooms available, but did give us our money back. We had to call around for another hotel which took awhile since most were booked at that time of night. I think it would have been nice for someone to call us or tell the guy on the night shift what had happened. Very poor communication.

This is an older Best Western the is well kept. We got a room that was downstairs at the rear of the hotel. Due to the hot weather(100+) this was perfect. The room was in the shade most of the day and stayed very cool. You need to do stairs to get to the room and this was fine for us. If you can't do a few stairs you should ask for another room. There are lots of rooms at this hotel. This hotel is pet friendly. The breakfast is better than average and those who work in the breakfast area are very helpful. This hotel is on a main street and easy drive to shopping and restaurants.

My wife and I stay here several times a year, and every time we go back it just gets better. The people make changes for the better and the pet rooms are very clean. We take our puppy with us and he is very content with the room and the sents that are there.

Overall, facilities were excellent. Dont bargin on the prices that you find on Hotels.com, call the hotel directly for pricing. Cost me $200 more than I expected. I stayed there 2 yeas ago, and will probably stay there again in the future.

We didn't stay long but the room was clean, beds were nice and the breakfast was awesome! They have someone to clear your dishes from your table! We were able to get downtown to the square by taking back roads and it wasn't far at all.

The hotel is being repaired. The front desk was very pleasant. They put us in a room (133) which was in a non smoking but it smelled every time you turned on bathroon fan. The air conditioner broke at 430 am setting off a smoke alarm. I unplugged it lucky nothing else happened. That morning I told it to the front desk and about he bathroom faucet it came off during my shower. They sent a repairman to fix shower , but did nothing about air conditioner but report it to he owner. The breakfast was good and hot and the front desk was polite would I stay again no! Still upset and tired lack of sleep. It could have been a lot worse if it caught on fire.

We had a great stay at the Prescottonian BW. We have stayed there twice now and both times were definitely a pleasure. We stayed in the back row of rooms and it has a ice view and somewhat larger balcony to enjoy the beautiful weather and views. Rooms are very clean and comfy.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The bed was fairly comfortable ... we've had better and we've had a lot worse. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Just wish it was a little closer to old town Prescott, so it would be a convenient walk.

Clean the carpeting in the rooms. I was wearing white socks when inside the room and after an hour walking on the carpet, my socks were incredibly filthy. I'm glad I was at least wearing socks and not in my bare feet.

We visited Memorial Day weekend. The room was comfortable with the usual amenities but there was no freezer in the fridge. I like to freeze bottles of water to keep the items in my cooler cold. Our first morning the breakfast room was so full some food items were not available and there were so many guests in the room we were unable to see what was available. We ate else where. That evening we were returning late and called the front desk to get the hours of the restaurant. Open until 9:00 pm we were told. Got to the restaurant at 8:30. . .closed at 8:00 so they could clean the kitchen. . .Close early on Memorial Day to clean the kitchen???

The worst beds and pillows! Make sure that the room you are assigned has been updated. Seriously terrible awful beds. Other than that a great hotel, friendly staff, a nice little pool and a very good breakfast.

This is a great hotel when it comes to service and a good breakfast. However, the floors were so dirty that in no time the bottoms of my kids' feet were black and the hair dryer overheated and would not work. My aunt and uncle could not get into their rooms when they came to check in because they were told the hotel is understaffed. In all with a few changes, the hotel could go from good to great.

Our stay at the Prescottonian was very satisfactory. The personnel were very pleasant, helpful and caring. From the Front Desk to the Breakfast Attendants we were treated as very special people. The room was clean and comfortable and we had all the amenities at our disposal. We would definitely stay there next time we are in Prescott.

We were in town for a wedding and enjoyed the most pleasant weekend at the Best Western Prescottonian. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean and there were plenty of nice options like the small Keurig coffee pot in the room and the outstanding complimentary breakfast. We have never stayed at a hotel that offered such an assortment of breakfast buffet items. We will definitely be back and we will definitely recommend to our friends and family.

Front desk staff is awesome! I asked if there was a quieter area for our stay and they put us in a great quiet spot. Our room was very clean and housekeeping for three of our four days was superb. Ask to be in Lacey's area, you won't be disappointed. On her day off, our room was not serviced well at all. It had not been vacuumed, bath counter was not wiped off, just a sloppy fast job. Our king bed was old and lumpy so we did not sleep well. The property is older but very well maintained. Breakfast was disappointing, many items high in sodium, most hot items were barely warm, no selection of tea, just black Lipton. We would stay here again if we visit Prescott.
