« First hotel on our Top to Toe trip of Italy »

My husband and I were in a group travelling with Titan and whilst waiting for our cases to be delivered to our room I decided to check the bedding, and to my surprise and discust the mattresses were in a terrible state and there was a sheet under the mattress protector, which was badly stained.

« In the middle of nowhere »

Stayed in this hotel on a group trip recently. It was advertised as Venice- 30-40 miles away! Rooms wre small as were thingle beds. They were also hard and narrow and the pillows hard. Breakfast was good and the girls in reception and waiting staff were delightful. To get to Venice was a bus and train ride away and took an hour. We were told the bus went from outside the hotel but it did not despite there being a stop. Had to walk towards Treviso and it was the next stop a few yards further. We got a taxi back as wouldnt have known where to get off the bus

    « Hotel with style »

The Hotel is a Little Bit Outside from Treviso! The room was Bigband clean - including bath room! 3 course Dinner was Fine, Range and Prices for the italian wines Perfect. Big Range of breakfast with very friendly service!

    « A Tour Group »

A bit remote, but accommodating nonetheless. Staff pleasant and hospitable. Restaurant functional and food typically Italian (and a tad pricey if not part of a 'package' as, indeed were the drinks). That's about it really; managed to visit Venice, but was stricken down that evening (and couldn't face any more pasta) by what can only be referred to as the 'Doge's Revenge'! Spent more time in the bedroom than l would have liked, but was partially comatose so it didn't really matter that it was, in the main, relatively bland and uninspiring. Footnote: there is little in the way of in room facility - other than a hair dryer - take your own travel kettle/mugs/etc.

« Very nice ending to my vacation »

Traveled through Italy for 16 days, ending our vacation with 3 nights in this hotel. Have to say it was a very pleasant end to our vacation, especially after bad luck and experiences with some of our previous hotels. Had a very nice stay and despite the food being indeed somewhat pricey, the quality was good and we considered it a treat to ourselves. Out of all 6 hotels we have stayed at, this one definitely had the best breakfast. Very nice bathrooms. Staff was friendly. Didn't make use of pool or relaxation area, so can't judge on that part.

    « Great Stay »

Very comfortable hotel, we ate in the restaurant one evening and then went to the bar next door for the next two nights we were there. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel if you want to go and explore the nearby town of Trevaso which we found to be a quaint but bustling town. We also made use of the hotel pool which was very cold but refreshing in the September heat. Room was vet comfortable with a mini bar & safe. The hotel bar was very relaxing and spacious with plenty of seating inside and out. Free Wi Fi in the hotel which was very good.

    « Very poor »

Stayed at this hotel as part of a coach tour. First impression was not good as we stepped off the coach the stench from a stagnant brook was overwhelming, and it spread to the reception and other corridors. The rooms weren't very clean, the towels we left to be changed were still there when we returned to our room later that day. There were no working sockets except for the one for the hairdryer in the bathroom. The lights over the mirror in the bathroom did not work, in fact they were hanging off. The carpet was filthy in the room, and in other parts of the hotel was threadbare and myself and other people caught our feet and tripped. The location was in the middle of nowhere so we were forced to eat there, I ordered the fish grill and my knife could not cut due to the fact it was so overcooked. Would not recommend this hotel, it made Fawlty Towers look like a 5 star hotel.

    « Excellent stay »

Comfortable large bedrooms with well- equipped large bathrooms. Good swimming pool but cold however welcome on a hot day. Good continental breakfast with plenty of variety. I would recommend this hotel for its proximity to Venice (Treviso) airport.

« Good hotel in a quite park »

we staid 3 nights here. Very good, quite hotel, confy rooms, very clea, nice old-type furniture, large bathroom loats of toiletries. Breakfast good, hot stuff just scrambled eggs and boiled eggs, no vedges like tomatoe or pepper... coffe if you want an expresso you have to ask Danielle, she is in charge with the breakfast, very nice friendly and professional. reception desk ok, Cludia was very helpful all the time. Own parking. Dinner ordered for the group was ok. The only weak point is the internet, free wifi but not wqorking properly, most of the time not eorking

    « Excellent value, clean »

Beautiful room with wooden furnishings and flooring. Nice quality mattress and sufficient size. Bathroom renovated. air conditioner leaking from ceiling. wifi. Breakfast nice with fresh fruit, croissant, cereal, toast, choice of cheese/salami, juices, quality of coffee can be improved. Also I found the stand up glass shower sufficient size, however it may not fit everyone.

    « Lovely pool, car a necessity »

Stayed here for 4 nights Mid August. 2 x adults and 12 year old. The hotel is a fantastic old villa with lots of features. If you're looking for modern, glass and chrome, this isn't it! Easy parking in the hotel grounds. The room was a bit of a squeeze with an extra bed squashed in but, overall comfy and clean. The bathroom was on the small side but perfectly adequate. There was a wardrobe with plenty of room top and bottom, but not a lot of drawers. The mini fridge was a bonus, and we managed to make room for our own bottled drinks. There were only 2 english speaking TV channels, BBC News and CNN The breakfast was a selection of croissants, cereals, toast etc. All perfectly presented and replenished regularly. The lady who brings the tea/coffee at breakfast was extremely polite and always happy! We didn't use the restaurant or bar so can't comment on these. Wifi reception was excellent in the room and also by the pool (Free too)!! There are bikes available to hire at reception. The pool area is stunning. So nice to relax in the garden and take a relaxing dip in the pool. The pool was around 4ft deep all the way around so great for swimming without worrying about being out of depth. We took our own towels but could have hired them at reception for E2,50 each. There is a deposit of E5 for the card key to access the pool area but this is refunded in full when returned to reception. We arrived at Marco Polo airport and hired a car, the journey to the hotel is easy and took around 30 mins. The only issue we found was a lack of places to eat near the hotel. We did try the place next door on the first night, but it wasn't great and they didn't serve wine! We did drive into Treviso one night but again, there seemed to be a lack of eating places. There is a good supermarket on the same road as the hotel, around a 5 min drive. We did drive to Mestre one afternoon, and this was definately a better option for shopping and dining. We intended on driving to Treviso train station, leave the car and get the train onto Venice however, on the first day, when we arrived at the train station, for some reason, there is a gap of around 2.5 hours between trains! We decided to drive into Venice. This was easy. We found a carpark (Green Park) just outside of Venice which costs E5 all day, and you just jump on the bus into Venice. The journey from the hotel to the car park was around 25 mins. We wanted a hotel with a pool close to Venice and was happy with our choice. I would recommend a car if you're staying here. The car hire is actually very reasonable and on a par with 2 x taxi's to/from airport. Would stay here again, if coming in summer months and looking for a pool hotel.

    « Good stay,but unpleasant experience »

I have just returned from a short break to Italy with my teenage daughter. We stayed at this hotel, which was actually okay despite some of the negative reviews. To our surprised, our room was very clean and quite spacious. We chose bed/breakfast option, as most of the reviews suggested that it would be best to eat out. Breakfast was average and you are given the same choice every morning, however, the breakfast staff were very pleasant. The location was good with easy bus/train links into Venice from Treviso station. My daughter and I had a very unpleasant stay in Italy. We found people to be extremely impolite and ignorant. People stared at us oddly whenever we go out, which made us felt slightly uncomfortable. I personally felt that people were snobbish towards us and has definitely shown that Italy has a serious problem with racism. We have been to Europe on many occasions and we have never had such experience. Would I stay in this hotel again, yes, but, I will definitely not be visiting Italy again anytime soon!!

    « Priceworthy Hotel »

Very nice, large rooms! Four star bathroom with 3-star shower. Very nice and large pool: with garden, seats and beds and great wellness area. Restaurant is fine and bar is allright too. One point to really improve: the terrace. It now feels underappriciated as you cannot have your meal outside. And as for drinks: they bring them outside when you order them inside yourself. And at 22.00 hrs the lights go out...wheather you are there or not.

    « Short 3 day rest »

Decent stay. Large rooms wide hotel and cool swimming pool. Neatly placed for car travel to Treviso, Venezia and Verona. Brekfasts could have more choice. Parking is in front of hotel mostly in shade of nearby trees

« Best place to be next to Venice »

Good hotel excellent swimming pool ,unbelievable food, friendly staff ,beautiful park ,real silver on your table, lots of class. Safe parking, comfortable rooms, old style with the flavor of old Italy on our time .

    « Very disappointing »

Room: Very run down. Should do thorough refurbishment. Bed wasn't comfortable at all. Room too small and cramp. Low water pressure for the shower room. A lot of mosquitoes when we entered the room. Service: Breakfast hall, staff wasn't friendly especially the long blonde hair lady. F&B: Breakfast spread not attractive at all. I don't even know what to eat once I look at the buffet line. Too limited, shouldn't treat your customer with such food. Unacceptable Overall: Bad experience

    « Dissapointing »

This hotel is ideal for travelling to Venice but I am afraid the quality of the food is below standard I can only recommend that the bed and breakfast option is taken and eat out at local restaurants. The rooms are average and the staff are not engaging all in all not value for money.

    « Classic Beauty »

This is a lovely quiet hotel offering large comfortable rooms and bathroom. The meal offer in the dining room was good value and the staff very helpful and friendly. This hotel is a good choice for those travelling from Trevisomairport airport as taxi fare to the airport was under 20 euro.

    « Marvellous hotel, »

We were transferred to this hotel after our flight was cancelled by easy jet. Our experience of this hotel and all the staff on reception was exceptional. Thoroughly recommend, modern clean and comfortable

« Kindness in the midst of chaos. »

We had had a wonderful break with friends in Venice, but on our homeward journey, due to unforeseen circumstances, our flight was cancelled from Marco Polo Airport which, at the time was very distressing. The airline was compelled to get us an hotel room for the night and we were sent to The Villa Pace Park Hotel. It was late and we were tired but the reception staff were pleasant and helpful. Our room was exceptionally good. Large and spotless, it was, in fact, better than the one we had during our break. It was just a shame we couldn't enjoy it to its full potential as it was a rather fleeting visit. However, everyone there was just so kind and helpful and they made a difficult time much, much easier. If we do visit that area again, we would have absolutely no hesitation in returning.

    « Nearby Treviso »

A very nice hotel with garden. Good parkingplace. About 8 km from the city of Treviso. All kind of comfort and very serviceminded staff. Origin of the house is from the beginning of 18th ´century totally renovated to excellent modern standard. New built wings where the room is. Spacious diningroom and plentiful breakfast. Frequent buses just outside the hotel into citycenter of Treviso. Treviso is a town not very well known but a very beautiful town. Lots of canals, some say it is the little sister to Venice. Genuin not so crowded of people, Magnificant buildings from 13th to 15th century and a lot cheaper than Venice. In Treviso you could take the train and dome to Venice in 20 minutes. By car about 40 minutes, but the carpark in Venice is expensive.

    « long weekend break »

nice sized room with blackout wooden shutters.aircon very good too. good sized swimming pool which my wife enjoyed. staff very helpful an pleasant. its on a busy main road but the windows seem soundproofed.. there is a shop nearby and a restaurant which we tried out which was very nice.we did try an evening meal but it was very expensive. we found out afterwards had to pay an extra 3 euros each for tax which wasnt included in the price. nice wine is served by the way :-) was surprised we had to pay a city tax though at 1.80 euro per person per night which is on a board on the reception .. being able to ask the staff to keep our luggage whilst waiting for our taxi was a nice gesture also.buses every half hr to trevisio train station, just cross the road to buy a ticket first.

    « 2 night stay »

Congratulations to management and all staff especially Philip & Li Lia Herrera they could not do enough for us. The room was excellent and very clean and comfortable. Food in restaurant was very good and at a reasonable price. ideally situated for day trip into Venice via short bus trip to train station and then a 30 minute train ride but do not forget to validate your train tickets before you get on the train.

    « I recommend »

Excellent Hotel. Clean, quiet, nice restaurant and nice food too. I you want easy access to both Venise and Treviso airport and are looking for good services, this is the place you are looking for. A pool (unfortunately not always open) a Jacuzzi and a sauna for 10€ extra is always welcome after a busy day.

    « very nice hotel »

what a wonderful hotel clean and comfortable and above all the service that we got from Giulia And Claudia feels like a family hotel we enjoyed our staying there and for sure will come back again in the future

    « Nice clean hotel »

We stayed here after booking via British Airways. The hotel is very friendly and clean, you need to pay extra for access to the spa (or relax zone as they call it). Breakfast supplied is fine, a little basic but you will find something for everyone. We ate in the hotel's restaurant a couple of times, the food was good and you didn't feel ripped off. The menu of the day offers great value 3 to 4 course for between 20 to 30 euros. The staff have excellent language skills, they seem to speak German and English in addition to Italian. As many said it isn't right next to Venice, but you can catch the train from the nearby stations. But the location is ideal if you want to explore a little and go up to Verona etc.

    « Wonderful Holiday »

We really enjoyed our holiday in this 4 star hotel. Attractive place, very quiet, bus stage near hotel and just 10 mins for the city. Service is excellent , very user friendly and food was very good. Even supermarkets and restaurants are near the hotel. Recommended.

    « Booked through BA »

Very nice hotel which must be lovely in the summer (outside pool, garden, massage). Clean. Lovely big room and very large bathroom. Well fitted. Staff on hand. Breakfast fine and staff very friendly too.

« Lovely Hotel, nice setting »

Booked this as a cheap package off the web - and it was amazing value, the hotel staff were welcoming and helpful, the room bright and airy. The breakfast was continental style with plenty available - I think some of the other reviewers have little experience of what a proper continental breakfast entails and expected a full English!! - It was lovely and set us up for the day. The hotel is about 3 km from Treviso centre, buses run every half hour from the stop outside (Route 21) - purchase tickets from the newspaper kiosk opposite. A bus runs to Marco Polo Airport also from the stop outside - check the times on the stop - booking and tickets are from the office in Treviso opposite the train station. Trains to Venice S Lucia run regularly - don't miss out on Treviso though - well worth spending a day wandering round.

    « A very pleasant stay »

Stayed here for a 5 nights on business plus my wife joined me for the middle weekend. I saw a few "not so good" reviews but the hotel was booked for me through the company I was visiting so I went with it. In the event, my experience was really very good and I didn't recognise some of the criticisms My comfortable double room (924) was on the top floor, spacious, very up to date, clean and in good decorative order. It also had a large modern on-suite shower / bathroom with a decent size bath The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful, were very happy to organise taxis, recommend and book restaurants etc., all without a problem. Yes, the hotel is a little out of town but the benefit of that was that it is quiet. There is a main road but the hotel is set well back and there is plenty of free parking. I had a hire car but when we went into Treviso for dinner, we took a taxi and it was only about 10 euros each way, about 10 minutes. You can't flag taxis down so get your restaurant to call you a cab before leaving About the only issue with this hotel was that the restaurant and bar bills could not be put on the room as they were in fact run separately, not an issue as long as you know about it In all, very good and if we go back to this areas would happily stay at this hotel again

« Quiet Hotel best to have transport »

This is a hotel that has seen better days. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good but the bar does not allow you to charge to the room something I hate in hotels. The rooms are comfortable and quiet but look a little dated. Without transport this hotel although on the main road is somewhat out of the way, you need a car or taxi if you want to get around. The local area does not offer any real facilities of restaurants unless you travel to Treviso which of course is a beautiful city with everything you could possibly need.

« Nice Foyer, Terrible Room & Food »

We were placed in a handicapped room which was in a terrible state. Next to no wifi in rooms, no mini bar - it had been ripped out, mattresses broken and very stained, terrible tin food served in restaurant. Shower screen fell down. Looks amazing in the foyer but our room was terrible. We did get upgraded after the first day, but only after both our tour guide first complained but to no success, then we really got upset and finally got a better room.

    « 4 night stay »

What a breath of fresh air this hotel is after the relative squalor of Venice where we spent our first 3 days. Our room was just perfect, nice and large with good quiet air on and a stocked mini bar. Breakfast was great and other features including an amazing outdoor swimming pool and relaxation area, bar and superb restaurant made this a perfect centre to explore from. The staff are very friendly yet professional delivering a first class service. The restaurant do a 3 course set meal for ?20 which is great value and more than sufficient. The hotel do bike hire and there is a local bus service from right outside the entrance which goes to Treviso or Marco Polo airport. Trevino is a lovely walled town in itself but with a train connection to Venice a short distance away.

    « Not by choice »

This is not a hotel you would ever look forward to visiting. It is utilitarian, basic and totally impersonal. The catering seems to be done 'on the cheap' and probably by separate contractors. It is in a convenient stop-off location but one night is more than enough.

    « Connecting rooms disappoiintment »

We booked a 2 night stay for our family in Hotel Bolognese. We confirmed the booking by email and were assured by email that we had booked connecting rooms, one with twin beds, the other room with a double bed. The actual room given to us was a one bedroom suite, where the 2nd bedroom was a sofa bed. We felt this was misleading as it was not what we had booked. The hotel is only average, the pool being a bonus in the hot weather. We didn't use the sauna or turkish bath as the door to this area was locked dring our stay and information wasn't offered on how to avail of these. Overall a very average stay, and I would not recomment this hotel.

« Fantastic base for venice »

Stayed here for 4 nights and was delighted with our choice. The location, price and facilities make it perfect for getting into venice then having a relaxing day by the pool to recover! Not sure what previous reviews are referring to regarding charges for the pool. There is a 5 euro security deposit for the card which is refundable. The pool is a really good size and plenty of loungers to soak up the sun. The hotel staff were wonderful, always friendly and happy to assist. The hotel is 10 mins in a cab from the airport or treviso town centre. Otherwise there is a bus from outside the hotel. To get to venice we simply got a cab into treviso and then a 30-40 min train which was ideal rather then pay much higher prices for lesser hotels in venice. For breakfast there is a good continental spread and the most cheery lady I think I've ever seen working in a hotel. We didn't try the restaurant preferring to eat elsewhere but there is a restaurant next door to the hotel and a snack bar a little further down the road. There's also a supermarket next door if you need bits and pieces. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to mix relaxation with venice, or who wants to see treviso but have a hotel with a swimming pool.
