« Good Hotel but Plan Ahead for Shuttle »

We were only in for two nights for a conference so the price and near the airport was important because we planned to make use of the hotels airport shuttle and connect with public transportation to the conference center - all looked good on the map. However, YOU MUST arrange the shuttle service 24 Hours in advance. We had confirmed the shuttle service with the hotel and at no time did they mention this. We were forced to take uber to get around. For the convenience next time I will stay downtown!

« From Alaska to Tucson »

The breakfast buffet was excellent with a lot of choices. Covered parking for the hot sun. Very close to the airport. Nice outdoor courtyard to enjoy a drink or read a book. The only con would be that they should have an elvator for each side of the large hotel.

« Freeway and airport noise »

We stayed at BW Airport Inn after picking up a rental car late at night from Phoenix Airport. We needed a place to crash before driving north to beautiful Sedona. While the hotel provided relatively cheap accommodation, we regretted our choice because the noise made the night pretty awful. There was a lot of noise coming from the freeway as well as the planes landing at the airport. It was an extremely hot night, so we wanted to use the air-con. This was as noisy as the everything else, so we decided against it. In hindsight, this was a pretty bad choice, as it would have probably drowned out the traffic etc. Our friend stayed in a room that wasn't facing the freeway, so I believe there's a chance we were just very unlucky. Still, this hotel is in desperate need for triple-glazing and a revamp. The bathroom was OK but modest. The room was relatively clean. I would not recommend this premise.

« Sleepless night, great restaurant »

Bed in hotel was uncomfortable, with lumpy pillows that were too hard. The hotel manager noted a cancellation during NASCAR race week that allowed us to get a room, which was much appreciated. The hotel appears to be older and in need of some maintenance. The drain in the shower was very slow, allowing water and soap scum to accumulate in the bottom of the tub. Otherwise, room was clean and in reasonable condition. The one bright spot was the hotel restaurant, which was surprising: Best tasting food during our two week long trip across Arizona and very good service. Initially, we were the only ones in the restaurant although another group walked in about 15 minutes later. Highly recommend the restaurant.

« Basic room before flight »

Stayed at this hotel for one night before we flew to Europe. We had originally chosen to stay here because we could leave the car and then take the 24 hour shuttle to the airport. Unfortunately they had run out of long term parking spaces! Since we had booked through Hotels.com we were not informed to call the hotel ahead of time in order to reserve the spot for our car. Wound up having to pay for parking at the airport. That aside, the hotel room was clean and not too smelly. Breakfast somewhat expensive at the adjoining restaurant but open at 6am which was convenient. Front desk staff not overly helpful and appeared overworked. Over all not bad for one night.

    5
    « Good value »

Nice to find a place to stay for catching an early morning flight that was clean and economical. The shuttle was very efficient at getting us to the airport for a 6:25am flight. There is no breakfast but the hotel provided some food to grab that was great to have to eat when we arrived at the airport. Would definitely recommend staying here if you need to get to the airport.

    « Arizona vaction »

This stay was a late arrival from the east coast, rooms ok for a night or two, didn't like the fact that this Best Western did not provide breakfast at this site. Rooms were average and do need updating.

« Nice Property and Great Service »

We held a church retreat event at this hotel for the Labor Day weekend. Rooms are clean and neat and service is great. Nothing to complain. The location is super convenient for everyone to attend. There is a nice restaurant inside the hotel and the staff are willing to accommodate with our diet restrictions.

« Sparkling clean and friendly staff with free airport and Greyhound shuttle. »

This is not a fancy hotel but it is sparkling clean and very economical. It is very close to the airport and Greyhound. The food choices are limited unless you have a car. There is an unaffiliated restaurant on premises that is acceptable. Breakfast is not complimentary although free crackers and coffee are available in the reception area in the morning. Free shuttles to/from airport and Greyhound. Free wi-if. The staff is very friendly. If you need a clean room for a couple of days at a very reasonable price then this is for you.

    3
« Ok if you need to be close to airport... »

Room and lobby were clean, parking lot was always full and it was hard to get a spot anywhere near the room. It's noisy being on the airport and the bed wasn't very comfy. Outside our room smelled like urine, don't know from what.

  • 3
« Close to Sky Harbor »

Larger room with king size bed which I found to be too soft for my tastes. Room was clean and overlooked the pool. Restaurant and bar on first floor. Limited menu. I had the french dip which was very dry, meat was tough, and the au jus was too salty. Breakfast was average. Good shuttle service to the airport. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful.

    4
« Convenient to the rental car return and the airport, good food options. »

This is a typical airport hotel. All rooms seem to face outwards, that is there are no inside hallways. There is a pool and our room (132) was facing it. Noise, not an issue at all. Parking was tight and crowded. The restaurant was reasonable, opt out of the room service and visit the bar. We ordered the taco salads with chicken, absolutely huge salad. In hindsight, we should have split one for dinner and asked for the other one without the taco bowl, stored it in the fridge and taken it for our flight. Much more economical than the airport food, and it was absolutely delicious. Fresh guac, salsa, etc. Excellent service inside, no upgrade available but we were only there for a short time. There is a hot tub and a pool here, in the midst of the outdoor courtyard, eating allowed, no glass. Would definately stay here again. The only down was the bathroom, just a bit small, but clean. Towels are not well advertised around the pool, they are in bins but not marked. There is an airport shuttle but we had a rental to return. Super convenient for that. Area is short on gas stations, so keep that in mind prior to check in, you may want to fill up prior to settling in as it won't be easy to do in the middle of the night.

    « Hotel by PHX »

We chose this inexpensive hotel for an overnight family trip to Phoenix to attend the State Fair. What a nice place for a reasonable rate! The staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. We chose an average room with two double beds that was also handicapped accessible for my spouse. The room was clean & odor free with a large bathroom and roll in shower. A nice added touch were the packaged earplugs with the toiletries because of course, there is airplane noise! Breakfast was not included although we noticed coffee, tea and bananas in the lobby. There is an independent restaurant within the building that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a bar/lounge that also serves food. The outdoor swimming pool was quite refreshing after using the hot tub and hot rock sauna. I understand you can also park here for a week or so (check their website) if using the airport and they provide a free shuttle service to your terminal. We would definitely recommend this hotel for budget minded travelers.

    3
    « No Elevator »

When I made the reservation, I didn't notice that there was no elevator. Normally, this wouldn't matter, but my 83 year old aunt was with us. We were given rooms on the second floor and told there was nothing available on the first. Her flight was later than ours and she wanted to stay in her room until she needed to leave for the airport. Thankfully, she had a small suitcase, so she managed ok. The airplanes were rather loud in the night, but the air conditioning noise covered up most of it.

    3
    « Not Impressed »

The room was dark and dingy. There was no elevator to the second floor rooms and no help with heavy bags when I arrived. This Best Western does not provide the usual free breakfast, there is a restaurant in the building where you can buy it. I wouldn't stay here more than one night. It was convenient for the airport and I appreciated the free shuttle.

    4
« Convenient to Airport, but Restaurant is too loud »

Flew into Phoenix and rented a car at the airport. Easy drive between this hotel and the airport and back. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is no elevator so you will have to carry your bags upstairs to an upstairs room. I asked for an got a refrigerator, but not all rooms have them, so if you need one be sure to specify. At the on site restaurant we had tasty big juicy hamburgers that were reasonably priced. Problem was at about 6:30 they turned up the TV volume (they had half a dozen TV's in a small place) and it was way too loud. Fortunately we had earplugs in our pocket from the flight that we were able to use. If you eat here, you had better bring ear protection.

    4
    « OK for a stopover »

This is a good clean wel maintained hotel. Easy access from the airport, either with the holtel shuttel bus, or from the car hire centre. Staf are welkoming and helpful. The hotel in next to the I10 freeway, and you can hear the noise of the traffic.

    3
    « Noisy pipes »

Nice place to stay and park your car if flying out of Phoenix. OK rooms good service nice restaurant attached. Great shuttle service. We had an early flight so took our showers at 3am the pipes were like having a hotel wide alarm going off. Despite both our attempts to adjust them to a low roar, if you wanted hot to lukewarm water the noise was unbearable. I even tried my Bose noise reduction headphones to no effect. Didn't have a chance to see if they fixed it with our 4am departure. Having free parking while we are gone us nice as is the dhuttle.

« Comfortable, clean, great staff. »

Stayed overnight just for the easy airport access, and found a sparkiling clean room, great pool, and a cozy bar and restaurant to boot, all in the same building. Free shuttle to the airport at 4:30 a.m. left right on time. When I got to my gate and found I'd left behind in the room my favorite denim jacket, I called the desk in a panic they were calm, and reassuring, even offering to send it to the airport on the next shuttle run. We were already boarding, so instead they mailed it back, complete with the wad of cash and electronic device that was in its pockets. Thank you to a great staff, for a great stay.

    4
« Great for leaving your vehicle instead of the airport! »

Second time we stayed here. Clean nice rooms. Leaving the car for 12 days at no charge except for the cost of the room, which is great. Locked ourselves out of the room, and the staff was very friendly. The bar is pretty awesome too! Would definitely stay again

« Great Hotel for a quick stay and airport proximity to Phoenix airport »

Great place - free shuttle to airport at 4:30 am and picked us up when we got back at 12:30am on Sunday - kept car there over the weekend while in Chicago...will definitely use them again. Very economical and that's awesome. Don't pay for parking use Best Western Airport inn in Phoenix

« Another night in paradise! »

This Best Western never ceases to amaze me. From booking, to check in, the quality of the room, to check out is totally problem free. The customer service is exceptional. The beds are heaven and the most comfortable I've slept in although the pillows are a bit soft. The Rodehouse Lounge is a great place to relax after the business day. Sierra is outstanding -- couldn't ask for better attention and service. You can't go wrong booking a room with the BW Airport Inn.

    5
    « MER retreat »

We were group of twenty stayed this BW hotel for two nights on Labor day weekend. We got an excellent experience of rooms, beds and service were outstanding. Thank you again. We will visit again for sure.

    2
    « Needs Renovated »

Bottom line the hotel in Tuscon Airport was much more updated and offered me a upgrade for using Best Western. This hotel doesn't even stand up to the other one, not as clean or accommodating. If this hotel was renovated to meet expectations plus add breakfast, it may stand up to the rest.

    5
« Perfect for early morning flights »

We recently stayed at the Best Western Airport Inn when we realized that it would be far better to sleep at an airport hotel than drive up the same morning from Tucson for a 5 am flight. We arrived late and left early, so we didn't get to experience any of the extra amenities first-hand. However, we found the staff at the desk to be very helpful and accommodating. We used the park and ride service and it was super convenient. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable, and everything was perfect for what we needed for our short stay there. We would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a reasonably priced hotel that's close to the airport, and we plan on keeping this hotel in mind for future trips.

    3
« Wave to the nice pilot, honey. »

Well, okay. You're about 100 yards from the tarmac in an area best descibed as a post-industrial era wasteland, but for a one-night stay with an early flight in the morning, the BW was just fine. On the upside, it's dirt cheap, they have a free shuttle to the airport, they have a really nice deep pool (5-9 ft.) and a pretty decent restaurant at the hotel (pretty much the only place to eat around there without driving into the city). At this price, it ain't the Ritz, but it's hard to complain much. Rooms are okay, front desk was very accomodating.

    5
    « A great stop over »

We arrived mid evening and the hotel was easy to find and close to the airport. Our room was clean, spacious and had eveything we needed. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've experienced in my years of travelling around the world. We had an excellent breakfast in the adjoining restaurant and would certainly return here again if we were staying in the area..

    5
    « Great hotel »

I left my ipads on the plane into Phoenix 5 days later we were heading back to P hoenix this hotel wax our last stop. The hotel very kindly went to the airport and picked the items from lost and found for me. Could not thank them enough for helping us out.

    3
    « Ok »

Best Westerns are usually a medium priced hotel. Clean rooms and sometimes breakfast. But this hotel the breakfast was a little below par for BW. Needed to walk a little to get to shops and restaurants, but close to the airport. Which in traffic is a benefit.

    4
    « Not to Horrible! »

First let me state this, this hotel is RIGHT NEXT TO THE AIRPORT. If you can ignore the planes, then it's a great hotel! I love the sound, personally, so it never bothered me, but I know it might others. It wasn't the easiest to stay cool, for some odd reason, the AC unit wasn't working right. But it was close to downtown and in a safe area. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Over all, I liked my stay, so thank you!

    « Phoenix »

Clean hotel but water pressure in the room was poor and the air conditioner sounded like a jet engine taking off...louder then the airport. They also charged way to much for pets compared to all other hotels.

    3
« Affordable place to stay »

Cheap and friendly, though the room was a bit dingy. They gave us small bottles of complimentary water, which was nice. Shuttle service to the airport was prompt and impressively professional. We didn't try out the roadhouse next door, but did say "roadhouse!" a lot.

    4
    « Close to airport »

Clean room, nice pool. Comfortable bed, good a/c for the very hot Phoenix sun. Very close to car rental return; free airport shuttle. Coffee and snacks for breakfast. Worth the few dollars more than the really cheap airport motels.

    4
« Nice clean motel, great for Park, Stay and Fly »

We wanted a motel that was clean, reasonably priced and close to the airport. We found all three in this motel. We were only going to be in the room for 9 hours since we had a 5AM flight the next morning. The room was clean and adequate in size. Nothing really fancy but the room met our needs. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was small but still OK, no problems .The shuttle left at exactly the time we requested and the wait pickup time was less than five minutes. Courteous driver. Summary if you want a clean motel with a very good park, stay and fly package, this should meet your needs.

    5
« Superb & courteous staff, budget stay with Mediterranean flair »

This place is simply awesome! The place looks like a Spanish colonial style home and come with a very clean, deep (8 ft.) swimming pool and relaxing hot tub! Some rooms even have chair outside the room (like a small porch). The room is very clean and nice. I like the "eco" way of using the dispensers for body wash, shampoo and hand wash instead of the soap bar/bottles! Shuttle service is on-time and very courteous staff (even setup a stool to get in/out of the van). I had already checked in and left my bags in the room and rushed out immediately. And when I realized my trip schedule was messed up heavily and won't be able to make it back to the hotel. The staff was very understandable of the situation and cancel it after confirming the room cleanliness. When I picked up my belongings, everything is still there. I was very thankful for everything the wonderful staff did! Not like Super 8's staff (chicago o'hare northlake) who wasn't as friendly and won't let me cancel within "cancellation policy" and won't let me check in late at 6:30am (red-eyed flight) just because I used reward points partially for the reservation. And two hours of calling both super 8 and customer care did not resolve anything on that night (after my suggestion to pay full price without using reward points, they will let me check in at 6:30am but not guarantee I will have my points back). I turned out to check back in best western again and stay one night there and it was very comfort, relaxing and gave me a really nice break after long day on the road & phone! They have very light snacks (crackers) and drinks (coffee, tea, hot cocoa) at the lobby. There is one restaurant connected to the hotel. If you are driving, just pay more attention when entering from the main street as it is not as straight forward. I love my stay here and highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting phoenix!

    4
    « park and fly »

probably the closet hotel to sky harbor. they have a on site resturant which helps as no other resturants close by. i have stayed here many times for park and fly, have never had a problem and rates are very reasonable. rooms clean and comfortable.

    3
« Older But Still Nice »

Being on the airport property, this is very conveniently located though not in the best part of town. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable but other than that are average. Breakfast isn't provided but there is a restaurant on site. I was disappointed by the front desk staff. They were less than friendly.

    4
« Very nice for the price! »

This hotel merits three stars for proximity to Sky Harbor Airport and cleanliness. It also offers Stay & Fly where you can park your car for two weeks. There is airport noise until about midnight but if you have a white noise app on your phone, you hardly hear it. Definitely will stay there again the next time we fly from Phoenix.

    4
    « Convenient to Airport »

I booked this hotel for an overnight stay before flying out of Sky Harbor in the morning. Hotel was clean, well appointed and had a nice pool. My room was very nice, even had a great chaise lounge for watching tv. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Shuttle service was good. I had dinner at the Roadhouse, which was pretty busy on that Saturday night. Food was good, service was friendly. I will stay again if flying out early!

    4
« Do you have Lids for the coffee cups? No »

I liked this hotel except for the fact they didn't have lids for the coffee cups. What hotel doesn't offer lids? So while in the shuttle van to the airport we got coffee spilled all over us and it was hot. Rant over. The pool was great. The restaurant was amazing or I was just hungry. No it was amazing. The steak was perfect.

« Free shuttle to CruiseAmerica »

It is a pleasant hotel, clean, not new, a nice small swimming-pool and pretty close to the airport. Free coffee and biscuits in the lobby. No breakfast, but there is a restaurant in connection with the hotel. That is your only choice - there no other services in that area. A pleasant surprise, that they provided us with a free shuttle to take us to CruiseAmerica - very helpful.

    4
« airport hotel for early departure »

proximity to car rental drop off ideal, easy walk, even in heat of the day. No restaurant directly part of hotel however, the Roadhouse restaurant on the property was very good, prices reasonable. Only problem was it did not open until 6am, the time I needed to be at the airport gate for boarding

    2
    « overall not bad »

Clean and nice hotel especially for the money but the A/C unit was extremely loud and instead of fixing it, earplugs were in the room. Location to Skyharbor airport is unbeatable. Overall a good deal...just fix the A/C!!!

    5
    « compliments »

very accommodating very late arrival and very early departure shuttle always available snacks provided even though restaurant not open before 6 AM phone reservations handled very professionally location near airport convienent

    « Awesome Property »

A very welcoming and caring staff await at the Best Western Phoenix Airport. Check-in and Check-out were as easy as one would expect. Room comfort was top notch. The staff in the restaurant were always friendly and had my coffee waiting for me before walking out the door to go to work in the evenings. I will return to this property again when my travels bring me back through the Phoenix area!

    5
    « my opinion »

I always stay at the airport hotel when in Phoenix the location is convenient the place is clean the staff are helpful and friendly I know that I can get a evening meal and breakfast which is not always available at other hotels. The pool was clean and enjoyable. I would recommend it to any one who wants value for money

    4
    « Phoenix Airport BW »

The room was fine, but no separate area for coffee, was located in restroom. Three parking spots in front of our room were blocked off for unknown reasons. Our room on corner of bldg., could hear every plane taking off and landing. should have asked for another room but did not. The bed was very comfy!

    3
    « Room Service??? »

I booked our room online and the reservation process was smooth and easy and our room was satisfactory. However, our room service experience was laughable. We ordered from the room service menu; one bacon and egg breakfast, one ham and egg breakfast and 3 coffees. According to the menu, breakfast comes with 2 eggs, seasoned fried potatoes and a biscuit for $8.95 and coffee is $2.50 a cup. With the obligatory 18% gratuity and sales tax, the total should have been just over $30. We received 1 large styrofoam container with ham, 2 eggs and hash browns, a small container with an egg, 1 container with bacon, and 3 containers with 2 biscuits each. Yup! 6 biscuits!! ??? No potatoes for the second breakfast. Total was just under $40. I'm not one to criticize a company's hiring practices but, at the risk of being un-p.c., I would think a company would put the person with a grasp of the English language in charge of taking phone orders. Being anxious to get on the road and on with our vacation, I accepted the order. We decided on room service in the first place to save time and waiting for an order correction didn't seem time efficient. What we received, although not what we ordered, may have been $40. Don't know. Didn't get a receipt. Not sure how Best Western is associated with The Rodehouse Restaurant & Lounge, but they do represent you. I usually don't complain about a business. I just don't go back. But, you asked ?How was your stay???

    « Good Night Sleep »

After driving for 5 hours and making the wrong turn to the hotel, which was my fault. The hotel was very easy to find once I was going to right way. It was nice to walk into the beautiful, well presented lobby of the hotel. It even smelled clean and I was greeted with a hello and a genuine smile. I handed the young man at the desk copy of my confirmation and all I needed to do was sign my receipt. He was even kind enough to read some items to me because I left my reading glasses in my car and he could tell that I did not want to have to walk back to my car. Once I was checked in he gave me a map to show me where my room was and were to park. He also mentioned that the hotel did not have a continental breakfast. Which I thought was odd. He explained that there was a restaurant next door that serve breakfast. I was a little disappointed and was surprised but it was nice that the restaurant was right next door. I was also a little surprise that there was no one to help with luggage that I could see, but lucky for me I only had the one suitcase to bring in, so it was not a big deal. My room was very easy to find and very well lit. I was a little concern when I walked into the room how quiet it would be since it was so close to the airport. But to my surprise it was very quiet in my room. And normally you will hear the slamming of the doors to the other rooms and you could hear nothing. The best part for me was the air condition in the room worked like a dream. It was quite and keep the room cool. I got the king size bed which was very comfortable. Instead of a table and chairs there was a chaise lounge. I thought it was strange but I ended up like it instead of the table. The room was clean and had a coffee pot, iron and iron board. The only complaint I have is when I went to take a shower I could not find the light for the bathroom where the shower is located. After looking around and moving towels I finally found the light switch behind the hand towel rack near the sink. I was hungry so I went to the restaurant to eat dinner. The service was very good and the food was not bad. I had the sirloin steak and bake potato. The steak was a little on the thin side but was good. The potato was very dry, but with a lot of butter and sour cream I was able to eat it. The vegetables were ok. For me it was too mushy but some people like that. The drinks were fantastic. Kudos to the bartender. At check out, in the morning, it was easy and painless. It took less than 10 minutes. I did not eat breakfast there because I had to hit the road, so I cannot comment on how the breakfast was at the restaurant. So the question is, would I recommend this hotel? I say yes I would totally recommend it.

    3
« Parking and shuttle make it average »

My family and I have to travel up to Phoenix to fly out most times when we vacation (our local airport is smaller with few flights). We book this hotel for the times we need an early morning flight. We drive up in the evening, park the car, spend the night, take the shuttle next morning and grab our flights. The room is passable, no elevator to the second floor and shuttle runs just after the hour. Don't expect luxury, but take advantage of the convenience on your way to your real destination.

« Best Western Airport Inn »

Close to airport, but don't remember hearing any flights. Basic room, don't expect much. But a good, inexpensive over-night stay when you have an early morning flight. Food was good in the bar/restaurant. Could use a little more than a banana to take on the flight in the a.m.

    3
    « Below Expectations! »

After traveling 7 hours on a Motorcycle, the Airport BW was the first hotel we encountered and because it was late and we were tired and hungry we stopped. The Air Conditioning system was loud enough to keep me awake for most of the night; the bed was a bit too soft; and this hotel didn't offer complimentary breakfast which was kind of a let down. The room was clean and the staff was very professional and courteous.

    4
« Great location near the airport »

This was a very good price for being close to the airport. There is no breakfast included. The room was clean and neat. The parking was not very good. Our room and bed were comfortable. Noticed many people staying the night and getting a shuttle to the airport in the morning. They left their cars here.

    3
« Nice bed. Insufficient parking. »

Be aware if you book here, this is an older, motel-style Best Western. No breakfast, minimal amenities. The rooms are comfortable and the beds are amazing. The parking lot is insufficient for the property size. If you arrive late you will probably end up parking far from your room. The corners are pretty tight, too, especially with so many huge pickups in the lot. Maid service was great. This is convenient for the airport, but I would probably look for another Best Western next time.

« Great quality for the money »

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the rooms were. The furnishings and beds were updated and very comfortable. The pool area was large and well cared for. The rate we paid was very reasonable - in fact, cheaper than any hotel I've been at in a long time. I will use this hotel again when i am in the area.

    « Serves it's purpose »

No complaints - arrived late and departed early - we use it as a "stop" before flying out of Sky Harbor airport. We leave our car in their lot and take their short shuttle ride to/from the airport. The room was fine (good A/C), had a late dinner in their on-site restaurant (fish and chips which was served with incredibly good Cole Slaw) - all at a decent price. Next flight out of Sky Harbor, we'll be back to the Best Western.

« Not your ususal Best Western »

Arriving on site I noticed several groups of people hanging around some rooms, drinking beer and smoking. They were noisy so I requested a room in the other end of the motel. At check in I was surprised to be asked to initial the fact that there was no breakfast served in the morning. I have yet to stay in a Best Western that did not serve breakfast so this was a first for me. Entering the room I found that there was no microwave or refrigerator. Also surprising for a Best Western. I rechecked the BW site and found that there was no mention of the breakfast or room amenities. The bed was the best part of my stay and I was rested when I left. At check out the clerk was robotic at best talking in a monotone like she was just going through the motion. When in Phoenix next, I will pick a different BW in the area.

« Close to Sky Harbor Airport »

This hotel was very clean and comfortable and it is VERY close to the airport. I would stay here again and would recommend it to others. However, there are a few things you should know. The hotel is in an industrial section of town and other than the restaurant in the hotel there aren't any places to eat close by. We needed gas and something to eat and drove a few miles to find a gas station and then decided to eat at a fast food place. It felt very unsafe. Drug users etc. in the restaurant. If you stay here keep close to the hotel.

    « Vacation »

Arrived shortly before check-in, however, the desk crew was happy to find us a room and help us find a place to eat. Our stay was short due to 3 am departure for airport, but the room was very nice, clean and we slept well with no noise problems at all. Very close to the rental car center too.

    5
    « Great Hotel »

We use this hotel whenever we fly in or out of Phoenix. It is clean, comfortable and very close to the airport. The service is great and the shuttle service is quick and convenient. We will continue using this hotel.

    5
    « Value »

I felt this hotel gave the best value for the money. The room was very clean, I'm very picky, so I wouldn't just say that. It is also SUPER helpful to leave my car there while I travel and have the shuttle service take me directly to my gate.

    3
« The average of averages »

For $65.00 in a mid level city, the Best western is average, but above average for cheapest room in town. It neither exceeded nor failed to meet expectations of a dirty, dirt cheap hotel. Free shuttle to phx airport and free parking for your entire stay....by that, I mean, if you drive in from out of town to use Sky Harbor Airport, due to the fact that it offers cheaper more convenient flights than Tucson local airport, you may leave your car there for 2,3 10, 30 days at no cost, thereby saving parking charges at the airport. That makes an average hotel a great deal if the purpose of the trip is as stated above.

« Feel at home in Phoenix! »

Having had a very positive experience at this hotel in February, I decided to book again when I went to meet my friend from England, arriving at Sky Harbor Airport for a holiday with me. I am glad I did: the Reception staff were jolly, knowledgeable and very willing to help with any questions we had. The shuttle driver also made me feel very welcome when I used her services to go to the airport to meet the flight, and had a big smile for my friend, too, when she came to collect us for our good night's sleep in the beautifully cool and comfortable room (with two queen beds) that met all expectations and requirements. (Just the tiniest niggle about the coffee-maker - probably perfectly usable for coffee, but irritating if all you want is a decent cup of tea, preferably using a good old English kettle! But that's a very personal preference.) Excellent value, too, for a Phoenix hotel, but mainly just a very friendly and welcoming place to spend a night away from home.

    4
« Really nice start to our trip »

The guy who picked us up from the airport was really lovely and made for an extremely enjoyable (but short) trip. The staff were very friendly and the room clean and quiet. The onsite bar/restaurant was great for a snack and breakfast was fantastic (but not free). We would have stayed here on our return but it was fully booked.

    5
    « A Good Night's Rest »

The staff at the front desk were wonderful. The room was clean, and I had peace and quiet. I would recommend this Best Western to anyone. The restaurant had great food and the server knew his menu. He was friendly and considerate. The internet in my room worked perfectly. I was able to get my research paper turned into my university with no problem.

    3
    « No Parking »

I arrived at 930 pm, and there was no parking left due, apparently, to the number of cars on Park and Stay packages. This, of course, is not a problem if you happen to be only walking on a day when the temperature in Phoenix apparently hit 115. The staff, of course, were kind but helpless to create more parking.

    2
    « No parking »

If you're staying here and you're from out of town, don't plan on staying out late or even for dinner. After the sun goes down, the parking spots disappear like the sun. For two nights in a row, there have been no parking at the hotel and we've had to park somewhere else and walk back. The staff doesn't seem concerned or as if they can even be bothered with it. This was not the level of service that we were expecting from this company nor a pleasant part of our trip.

    4
« Good deal - close to airport »

We had a 6AM return flight and this hotel was very close to the airport and the Car Rental Center. The surrounding area is mostly commercial and a bit unsettling at night. Somehow parking stalls seemed much narrower than at three other Best Western hotels that we stayed at during our two-week trip in AZ.

    « 4 Day stay no drama »

We are wrapping up our 4 night stay at this hotel. To be fair I have stay here before but I never wrote a review. Well our room has been clean each day and it smelled fresh each time. I extended our stay for 3 to 4 nights because the front desk staff have always been friendly and professional. Each time I come to Phoenix I stay here and I'll do the same next trip. It close to downtown and besides the hotel bar and restaurant you might have to drive a little for a meal. We had our own vehicle which wasn't an issue.

    2
« The hotel location is his only value »

Stay for a night in this hotel before an early flight (May 28th 2016). No fridge in the room (#127) even indicated in advertizing, shower water not warm enough, employees unplaisants. The only interest of this hotel is his proximity of the airport. But for driving 10 minutes more you may save 20 $ on your bill and have a better service. 120$ per hour is a very good rate that must be considered.

    4
« Close to PHX airport »

Were looking for a Hotel close to PHX airport with 24 hour shuttle service. We had to get to airport by 6:00AM. Found out they had free 10 day secured parking on site for car. They have an on-site restaurant and lounge with free breakfast. Very competitive room rate and with free parking it was a real bargain. Arrived back at PHX around 2:00AM and shuttle was at airport after call in 15 minutes. Great deal!

    4
« One night before an early flight »

Only stayed one night before an early flight; very convenient for this. They had a free 24hr shuttle bus to the airport which we used at 4.45am ! There was coffee, bananas and peanut cookies available for us early risers .Clean, spacious room and friendly staff. Some aircraft noise but it didnt keep me awake.

« Stayed a single night in late January, nice place to stay close to the airport »

I stayed here over a single night in late January, traveling with a friend, after getting into Phoenix late in the afternoon. This motel is very convenient to the airport- nearly within sight. In this area south of Sky Harbor, there are also a number of restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores and other commercial establishments. Light rail is also nearby. The motel was very nice and clean, as we expected. Everything in the room was in good order and worked fine- hot water, TV, wi-fi all worked great. Despite being so close to such a busy airport, the airplane noise wasn't a problem. They can be loud outside- and can still be faintly heard inside, but it isn't a problem, and were both able to get a good night's sleep. There was also a nice breakfast the next morning. Overall, it's a good deal, and if you're sharing a room with others, its an even better deal.

    4
« Another two perfect nights! »

I keep coming back because the service has always been great and they go out of their way to find you the room you want. Parking on this trip was horrible. There were several oversize vehicles that took up two spots. Other large pickups and SUV's had a wheel (or two) over the parking line so you couldn't squeeze in the spot -- or if you did, you couldn't get out of your car! The Rodehouse Lounge is great. Sierra is AWESOME! It's a bit pricey but the food is excellent.

    5
    « airport hotel »

The Ritz? No. Everything you want in an airport hotel? Yes. One mile from the car rental return. Quiet? Well, for right next to the airport it is pretty good. Beds are comfortable, room clean, front desk people helpful.

    « comfortable stay »

On a business trip. Good night's stay. Good value for the room, service & amenities. good location close to airport. Friendly staff. Wish there were more eateries close by. Thanks to Uber that wasn't a problem. Would stay again.

    5
    « Vacation »

I picked this hotel based on price and proximity to the airport and rental car return. It had great service and was very clean. The driveway entrance is tricky due to a restaurant obscuring the view of the hotel. I would stay at this hotel again if I return to Pheonix.

    4
    « Convenient »

I used the Best Western Airport Inn for it's convenience to Sky Harbor airport and Phoenix Convention center. It has a shuttle, which is a big plus! I had originally intended to use it to return to the airport and catch the Light Rail, which is very convenient as well. Instead, I got the offer of a ride, making this unnecessary. The hotel itself is nothing fancy, but pleasant. Like all Best Westerns, it's got a nice lobby with western style furnishing, plus convenient computers. There was good coffee and fruit in the morning. It's very near the airport, which you can hear (doesn't bother me), but they offer earplugs in the room! They have a nice garden setting around the pool. It's set up almost like an apartment complex. Some second floor rooms had balconies, and first floor rooms had patios. I wasn't offered one, but for just one night, it didn't matter. The room was clean, and tidy.. The bed was comfortable. I found it odd, that instead of a couch, there was a "lounge" chair, which meant if you had company, there was limited seating. They've also converted to dispensers for soap, shampoo, and lotion, instead of individual items. The electric outlets near the bed were very loose. There were extra outlets and USB connectors provided in the desk. The air controller only ran for a few seconds, then would completely stop, and not cycle enough. If put on "constant fan" this helped. If I was planning to stay more than one night, I would have mentioned these things to the staff. On the whole, I wasn't unhappy. The onsite restaurant called "The Rodehouse" was good for a short visit, and thankfully open until 10:00 pm. But they close the actual restaurant in summer (starting in May, apparently) and all service is done through the "lounge/bar" area. It was good food, but the menu is not expansive enough to accommodate a lot of meals. The pricing is in the "average" range, about $11.00 for a burger. The girl managing and serving was very good, friendly, and helpful. She wasn't as busy at the time, so was able to chat for a bit. Overall, I found the hotel very nice. If one is expecting a fancier room, one might have to spend another $100+, but for the budget conscious, this is good.

Hotel is easy to find. Has nice eating facility adjoining the property. Centralized for Phoenix area. Staff friendly and helpful. No noticeable airplane noise. Room large and comfortable. Good place to stay in the Phoenix area.

FRESH COOKIES at the front desk! Nice room, nice folks at the front desk. Cute pool. Easy trip to the airport. Everything was clean and the breakfast was your typical hotel buffet, yogurt, boiled eggs, etc.

« Best Western Airport Inn a good loaction and nice hotel. »

We recently stayed at the Best Western Airport Inn in Phoenix. It is in close proximity to the Airport and the Interstate. There is some air traffic noise but with a name like the Airport Inn what do you expect. The rooms are nice. I really liked the shower heads they are actually built for tall people. The bed was extremely comfortable. The TV was good. There is no continental breakfast. But there is a restaurant connected to the hotel. The pool area was very clean and nice. The pool had a shallow and a deep end. There is coffee in the lobby in the mornings. This a nice property in a great location. They even have ear plugs in the rooms. just in case you need them. A good deal and a great location.

« Airport stay in Phoenix »

A typical airport hotel with average service, lounge and rooms. It was conveniently located at Sky Harbor International but thats about it. There is nothing decent around the hotel for restaurants or bars.

    3
« Room is ok, shuttle to airport is great! »

The ONLY reason we stay here is to catch a flight and it's quick location to the airport and free shuttle. The hotel is old and unkept. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms are usually clean. If the customer service was better at the front desk, I would stay here more often.

    3
    « Convenient Airport Stay »

This hotel is moderately priced and has a 24 hour courtesy shuttle to the airport. The restaurant was, unfortunately, closed due to a maintenance issue when we were there which was disappointing as there is nothing else around. We ended up having pizza delivered to the room for dinner. Other than the nice shuttle drivers, the other staff were not very friendly. But it is convenient to the airport and I would stay there again. There is no breakfast included which I think is odd for a Best Western.

    4
    « So close to everything we needed . . . »

It was a "hop, skip and jump" from where we had to return our rental car. Phoenix airport is one of the best I've encountered in my travels. Everyone is pleasant, transportation to rental cars easy. Best Western was clean, staff pleasant and good pricing. I would stay there again on my next trip to Arizona.

    3
« Excellent Location for airport »

Nice average hotel in excellent location Young woman bartender in lounge was friendliest and most accommodating employee, but I understood the lounge was not owned by Best Western, but leased. Being on top of the airport means, of course, lots of airplane noise, but added to that it abuts a very noisy freeway.

    5
    « Convenient »

Nice room, excellent salad in the restaurant, free airport shuttle. Some jet noise but didn't keep wife and I from sleeping well. Well done renovation of a long standing motel. No cross over the 24th Street median when southbound from airport, so you must turn onto the side street, then turn into motel.

« Good place for a short stay »

A good option for a short stay. Very good location, superclose to the airport, highway and car rental center, but also very quiet - you won't get disturbed by tha planes nor by the cars. Clean, quite spacious rooms with an OK decor. A pretty fast internet, a very mediocre cable. Sadly, no breakfasts included in the price, but there's a decent restaurant in the same building. Also, no other eating options within a walking distance.

    5
    « FAST SERVICE....EXCELLENT STAY »

Just stayed one night, then off to the airport. Airport shuttle picked us up on time at 4:00 a.m. Great experience. Rooms were very clean, bed was comfortable. Pool area was beautiful. Would definitely stay again.

    « Coackroaches »

The staff at this motel seem to have low moral and they demonstrate this to customers, you speak to them and they don't answer, it seems like they are disgruntled. It took about 15 minutes for me to check in because the clerk was busy taking calls about the broken shuttle. She kept losing track of where she was and we had 5 customers waiting for a very long time. The room I stayed in had cockroaches I reported it to the front desk and they acted like it was an everyday occurrence, no sorry or anything. I asked for someone to come and clean them out and no one came for a very long time, I went ahead and scooped on up and took it to the front desk. It seems like they are used to this. I will never stay at this property again!

« Excellent Value for the money »

Very comfortable and unassuming place with a good atmosphere with good access to the airport. Friendly staff. Nice Pool. Rodeway restaurant is a wonderful amenity on the premises - great fresh strawberries at breakfast. Taco salad is excellent and comes with fresh fruit.

« Fine hotel, close to airport! »

I stayed at the hotel the first and last nights of my trip. I wanted to be close to the airport for a morning flight out. It is about a 5 minute drive to the terminal and about 8 minutes to the rental car return centre. Despite some reviews, I did not get woken up at night from planes flying overhead. I am a really light sleeper and brought ear plugs just in case but didn't even use them on either night. You do hear the planes during the day more but it's pretty insignificant. I stayed on the first floor both nights and it was very quiet. The room was typical. They have strong wifi and a very good selection of channels on TV including HBO. The adjacent restaurant is a bit pricy. I'd pick up some food first at a local store or fast food joint to save money. The staff is friendly and you can park right outside your room (if a spot is available). It's a bit tricky to turn into the lot as you can only get in by turning right otherwise you have to do a U turn cuz there's an island dividing 24th st. It's perfect and reasonably priced for a stay close to sky harbor airport.

    4
« great hu for the area »

this hotel is very well maintained. it is very close to the airport and major highways and the car rental returns just down the street. the city is to the north and there are many avenues to take to get where you need to go. the highways 10 and 17 are just yards away. if you want to avoid the city traffic just head south on 24th and you will find everything you need without fighting the city traffic. for a little r&r the Phoenix mountain park is not far. the only down side to this hotel is that there is nothing within walking distance to visit.

    4
« Good hotel near airport »

I thought this hotel was good, but it did have a few shortcomings. The location was convenient for the airport and for freeway access, but not as nice of an area as I would typically prefer. The door to my room worked, but was a bit stiff. The pool was nice and we definitely enjoyed it. The lack of a free breakfast was disappointing, but I knew about it when I made the reservation. The prices at the on-site restaurant were more than I would like to spend on breakfast, so I went elsewhere. Overall it was a good value for my money and I would stay here again, but would also consider other options.

    5
    « "Nice Surprise" »

We had an early flight so I figured we should stay close to airport. I wasn't expecting much so this gem was a total surprise. Nice pool and outdoor seating. The lobby had nice individual tv areas with nice snack/bar area. Room was quiet and beds comfy. Would definetely stay there again.

    3
« adequate for overnight stay near airport »

While a bit spartan, this hotel was clean, bed was comfortable and it had easily accessed wifi and cable television. For the price, it met the needs of being near the airport. The restaurant on the premises was ho-hum. The best part was the easily accessed shuttle that was free for both pick-up from the airport and return to the airport, taking only 5 minutes or so. Staff was helpful and pleasant.

« Great Stay Conveniently Located »

I needed one night by Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport and this was the best choice for a convenient, well maintained hotel with wonderful staff and highly reliable shuttle service to and from the airport. I would stay here again.

    4
« Good place to stay near airport »

We only stayed here one night. The staff were very polite. The room was really clean. Even though it's near the airport and a highway, the room was quiet. It's very convenient to the airport. There are no elevators to the second floor---so if you don't want to carry suitcases up stairs, ask for a first-floor room.

    4
    « hotel at PHX »

Very nice older hotel at PHX airport. Close to rental car terminal (5 minutes). Worked great for dropping off rental car on the way to airport. Room was very clean and quiet. TV was poor. No elevator for rooms on second floor. Had a nice pool area and on site restaurant. Other dinning options were about a ten minute drive. Would stay here again.

    2
« Clean but Noisy and Bad Location (unless you want right next to airport) »

This hotel worked for what I needed (quick stay that was clean). I didn't have a car so I couldn't walk to ANYTHING. It didn't seem like a safe area that I was willing to try. It is right next to a freeway and the planes fly overhead all night. The room was clean and bed was comfortable but it wasn't worth $100/night. If it was priced $50-70 that would be different. If you don't have a car, don't stay here. You will have no options for restaurants, etc.

    3

« Location is the reason... »

We stay at Best Westerns a lot. While this hotel was ok, I will say I was very disappointed in the room for the price we paid. I found it very expensive for what it was. The lights in our room were loose, the soap dispenser barely worked at the sink. For the price we paid breakfast should have been included. The location near the airport was the reason we chose this hotel, however I don't think I have ever stayed at such a noisy airport hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the shuttle to the airport was great. I'm sorry that I was disappointed in the room/price.

    5
    « Plesantly confortable and well-kept »

Stayed here one night on a business trip. Facility and grounds well maintained and the bed oh so comfy! Give this place consideration for your business stay in PHX. Restaurant on-site and gas staion nearby...all the things a traveler needs.

    3
    « Noisy from Airport »

Older Building needs double pane windows to reduce Air Traffic noise from Airport. Sliding doors and room doors don't close properly. If upgrades were done then location and Rooms would be great place to stay in.

    3
    « Airport Best Western »

Decent hotel. Airplane noise was minimal. BW does not offer a breakfast, you have to buy a meal at their restaurant or go somewhere else. I would say this was an average BW. For platinum members, their care package was a joke. A bottle of water and a package of peanut butter crackers. I will come back, however, their are better BW's in the Phoenix area.

    4
    « Beware - no elevators »

We find Best Westerns fairly consistent - clean, comfortable and friendly staff. But, if you have heavy luggage be aware that there's no elevator available. Otherwise, the restaurant here serves an excellent breakfast and, in the reception area, fruit, coffee and biscuits. The airport shuttle service is efficient and the drivers were very helpful with our luggage.

    « Location, location, location...to the airport »

We needed a room close to the airport for an early morning flight and the Best Western Airport Inn is very convenient to the airport. It's all surface roads to drop off a rental car or to go directly to the terminal. Could not have been more convenient, just off I-10 and only about 10 minutes away from PHX. The room was clean and appeared to be recently refreshed with new carpet and linens. There is an attached restaurant which was very convenient for a late evening meal. Due to its location plane noise is as we expected but it settles down during the the night. Ask for a room on the front side of the hotel to avoid the worst of the traffic noise from I-10. This hotel met our need and we would stay there again.

    3
    « AZ »

Very convenient to PHX airport and rental car center. They have an airport shuttle. The hotel décor is a bet dated but clean and nice. The restaurant is pretty good. The rooms are nice, spacious and quiet. Except for planes taking off if that bothers you. Would stay here again.

    4
« Very good stay. Close to airport and Rental Car center. »

Closest hotel to the airport for catching an early morning flight. Rental car return center very close about 1 mile. Hotel very clean, rooms were very nice, pool was nice but a little chilly. Airport shuttle at 3:30 a.m. was very prompt and efficient. Despite reading several reviews stating the noise level was high, I did not notice any airplane, or highway noise in the room. On-site restaurant was very adequate. Friendly staff, would not hesitate to stay here again.

    3
    « Good airport access »

Recent trip to Arizona and stayed one night at Best Western Airport. An older hotel -- and note -- no elevator. But staff friendly, helpful, room clean and good breakfast restaurant next morning. They provide a shuttle for pick-up at airport and even late night arrival was met quickly.

    3
« Nice Place to stay. »

Yes I would stay at this hotel again. I like the friendly people. They smile and seam happy. I like the sun. I had some entertainment with all the planes coming and going. The man that picked us at the airport was a very friendly and happy person also.

    4
« Nice, clean hotel, friendly staff but noisy »

Everyone was very nice and rooms were clean. Not a fancy hotel, but it served its purpose. We had everything we needed. The only downside was the freeway and airport noise. We were very tired however from being at PIR for two days so it didn't bother us.

« Stay at your own risk.. »

This motel is located in a slightly sketchy area, but you cannot beat the distance to the airport from here. The staff was friendly at the front desk, but it all went downhill from there. You had to lean against the door to close it the entire way which is unsettling when your door leads to the outside in a sketchy neighborhood. I ended up moving the chair in front of the door just in case.. There was no breakfast. Our room smelled like cigarettes even though it was a non-smoking room. Only one of the electric outlets worked and our TV only got 10 channels. The biggest issue with the room was the AC unit. When it wasn't on, you were sweating bullets. When it was on, you sat up wide awake because it was a racket. You will not get sleep unless you can sleep through an elephant stampede. The price for this room was so expensive, but as were the other hotels around the area. In the future, I will spend a little more money at another hotel to feel safe and actually get some sleep.

    « Always a Favorite »

Whenever possible Best Western is always my Motel of Choice. I can only remember twice when I had an issue with my room and those issues were handled promptly. Best Western is really The Best and Best Western Airport Inn, Phoenix, Arizona didn't disappoint me in any way. The people there were pleasant, friendly, courteous and helpful. If I need a motel in the Phoenix area again, this will be where I stay, or where I put up guests. .

« Surprising comfort and close to the airport »

This Best Western Hotel is a little older. We choose it to be close to the Phoenix Airport. It was very clean and well maintained. The Staff was kind and helpful. No in house breakfast, but they had a Restaurant attached that had very good service and food. Our only negative was that our non-smoking room still had an odor of smoke. Either someone before us smoked in there or at one time it was a smoking room. I had to air out my back pack when I got home. It was room 128. Otherwise it had the great Best Western Hospitality we have come to appreciate.

    « Served the Purpose »

We needed a room near the airport because we had an early morning flight. We checked in at 10:30PM and checked out the following morning at 5:00AM, so our stay time was pretty limited. With the exception of NO breakfast (for the price that's unsat) and the restaurant/bar attached closes at 11 on week end nights. Nearest evening life or pub is 3 miles away, recipe for OVI, be careful there. But the staff has nothing to do with that and were exceptional. I would stay again, just have to pack a large cooler and bring some music; poolside is excellent atmosphere.

« Convenience, Comfort and Customer Care »

I booked with this hotel because it provided accommodation near to Sky Harbour Airport at a reasonable price which included a shuttle service - ideal for my requirements. I was allocated a very comfortable room on the ground floor, which was again ideal since I was able to roll my case right to my door, for what turned out to be a very good night's sleep in a comfortable bed. Had to visit the Immigration office in the morning before my flight out, and the receptionist team were very helpful in delivering an urgent document that arrived by fax the night before, as well as ordering me a taxi in good time. On my return, they booked me onto the shuttle that would take me to the airport later that day, and showed me to one of their guest computers so that I could check in online. They were unfailingly cheerful, polite and efficient. I shall certainly use this hotel again on trips involving the airport, provided the prices stay as attractive as in February...

« Great Stay in Phoenix »

After being dropped off by a college and completing business, I had to catch an early flight and needed a shuttle to the airport. Free shuttle...does not get any better with very punctual and friendly service. Did not notice any traffic noise in my room located on the NE side of their complex. Will stay here again. Thank you!

    « Worked for us! »

This Best Western is not far from the airport and has shuttle service. The price was reasonable. It is an older hotel that has been updated. It has an outdoor pool and a restaurant and lounge on the premies. It was comfortable, clean, and quiet enough for our one-night stay. There are no other hotels or restaurants nearby, so once you relinquish the rental car, you are held captive. We did enjoy a nice meal and drinks at the attached restaurant. Make sure you sign up for the morning shuttle service to the airport, it is not first come-first served. All in all, a decent stay. Not a destination hotel, but works as a lace to rest between flights.

    « Close to airport »

Our first trip to Arizona,Convenient location after a long flight.Has good beds ,a pool and restaurant ( attached) ,friendly shuttle guy.Room- hint stay in the original section as the air conditioning is quieter. Also stayed here at the end of the trip.Enterprise picked us up from here and later dropped us off .worked out perfect.

« Ok for the money »

Not the best, but not the worst. AC and fan was not working well. The check out guy told me he could not give me receipt. The maid left my toothbrush bristle down on the countertop after service, when it was left on a towel.

    « Excellent location »

This is and older hotel but well maintained. The housekeeping was exceptional and the staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Spotless room and comfortable bed. 24 hour shuttle to the airport which is only a mile away. Clean and convenient.

« Basic but still good »

Stayed here twice when flying. Friendly staff and secure parking lot. Staff went above and beyond to offer directions/area suggestions. Breakfast offered is fruit and coffee but there is a restaurant next door plus a microwave in the lobby for guest use. Room was clean and an average size. It is very close to the airport, which can be both a plus and a minus (convenient yet noisy). Also very close to the highway. If you want to seek out additional restaurants or a grocery store you are best to have a rental car. Offers a work out room with fresh water.

    « Noisy »

Close to airport, yes, but also very close to highway, so very noisy. Dated building, needs updating. Note: breakfast is not included. There is a restaurant attached, prices seemed expensive for the area.

« Best Western Airport PHX »

Extremely good value if you just need a place to sleep and want to be next to the airport. The attached lounge/bar has descent food at reasonable prices and a friendly staff. Just about everything else is average, at best here.

    « Probably won't be back »

We've stayed here a number of times and each time it's gone downhill some but this was the worst. On our way out of town, two of us tripped over curb in parking lot. I was hurt & crying and the morning desk clerk, who knew what happened, did not acknowledge me nor my situation. On the way back, the shuttle was going to take at least 4o minutes (we took a taxi) and then they lost our reservation, so we just left. (I will say both the clerk & back room manager were trying to be helpful but didn't have our requested accommodations left. ) We have long been Best Western club members and are sorry this place has been in decline.

    « Best for Flying »

We always use this hotel when we are flying because of the convenience of location and shuttle to the airport. IT is comfortable and easy to find. Staff is very helpful and restaurant is good. We have been using this hotel for at least 20 years. We are able to save money by leaving our car at the hotel while we are gone and the shuttle will then pick you up when you return.

« Our stay at the Phoenix Airport Best Western »

rooms were in desperate need of updating. smoke smell, cigarette burns in the bathroom. beds were old. carpet greasy. Very noisy from the Phoenix Airport runway. Lighting was not very good. Television reception was not vey good. Overall for 140 bucks a night we received a motel 6 room...

    4
    « Short trip »

This hotel is older but was clean. Beds comfortable but this was the first time ear plugs came with my room. The airport is very close and hotel backs up to a busy highway. Noise wasn't bad in the room with air condioner running. Hot tub cool..not hot. Front desk staff helpful but not overly friendly. No continental breakfast because there is a restaurant on site.

    3
« Squeaking out an average »

This is a motel, not an inn. It is minutes from Sky Harbor, so very convenient if you are flying in or out of Phoenix. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but the bed was the only updated thing in the room. It had a tiny old bathroom, but the shower had good water pressure. the room had a musty smell that I think was a reflection of older carpeting and general lack of updating. This was a quick overnight stay for us and for that it was fine. However, I've got to believe there are lots of other affordable places to stay in the Phoenix area that would be more comfortable.

    2
    « Noise and Rest »

This pet friendly room has remnants to cigarette smoke. The noise from the freeway and airport kept us awake all night. I have never been to a hotel that supplied ear plugs in the room. Also...possibly as it was pet friendly, the room was drab and run down. The hotel grounds. lobby, pool, and restaurant were fine. Do not let them book you into a room close to the noise. It is likely that the rest of the hotel is OK

    2
    « Average at best »

Apparently asking to stay another night is torture, the guy huffed and puffed while taking my money, didn't say hi, didn't even look me in the eye to acknowledge me. Shower had literally no hot water, even when I left it running for 5 mins. The good parts? Well the room was clean, beds were comfortable and the restaurant attached was nice and laid back. Probably wouldn't stay here again, plenty of places who are happy to take my money and provide me a decent level of respect even if fake.

« Rooms nice Staff unreliable and rude »

I came in to the hotel in a great mood. Until I was met with an unfriendly woman. She looked like she needed to go home about 8 hrs ago. She looked at me with complete annoyance that she had to do her job. She needed some guidance from someone that appeared to have a higher position and she was just as unfriendly. I asked for clarity as to the direction I should go to find my room and she mumbled and lifted her finger. Later I tried again hoping things were better. I asked about a special meeting that should be at the hotel. The staff pointed to an empty sign and said if we were having anything it should be up there. I asked if they could check and they said my meeting is probably going to be in one of these rooms but they just simply don't know.

« Our go to spot when flying out of Sky Harbor »

This hotel is our go to spot whenever we fly out of Sky Harbor in Phoenix. The rooms have always been comfortable and clean. The staff is courtesy and helpful. The shuttle service is great and they allow free vehicle parking while you are away. 15 days free parking for every 1 night at the hotel. The Rodehouse restaurant has good food also and will provide room service. Recommended.

    « Disappointing »

Driving in - the Courtesy Van was parked right in front of the door - blocking the covered area but also blocking the door. Registration - they saw my husband come in and get the luggage cart and take it out and none of the three said 'wait - you will want to drive around to the area near your room before you unload your luggage.' The room - the room smell was overpowering - a chemical smell from cleaning - we opened the door and turned on the bathroom fan and turned on the HVAC fan to evacuate the smell. The airport noise is VERY LOUD all the time. The room supplies ear plugs if that tells you something. There is NO elevator and NO breakfast (but they do have bananas and crackers) The hot water in the sink took a LONG time to warm up. The bathroom floor looked clean and dry but had some sort of cleaning substance on it that reacted to the bottom of your shoe - made the dry floor wet and sticky - strange. Some good things: The room was clean and large, there were two chairs at the table, the lighting was good, there was soap and lotion dispensers at the sink and shower gel and shampoo dispensers in the shower. There were three sets of towels which was nice. The shower was good. We won't stay here again.

« No sleep and no breakfast »

I'm shocked at the high reviews of this hotel. The hotel is directly under the airport flight path and next to a major freeway. The planes fly all night long (perhaps cargo planes). You would expect that the AC/heating units provided in this noisy environment would have the ability to be set on ?fan? to help drown out the noise. Unfortunately, this was not the case in my room. The fan would not stay on in any setting. I could not switch rooms because the hotel was full. The room sometimes rattled due to the planes overhead. I did not get any sleep. Upon check in, I was told to initial agreeing to the ?no breakfast?. I stay in Best Westerns quite frequently, and normally breakfast is included in the rate. My room had two queen beds. There was a small refrigerator but no microwave. There was no makeup mirror or conditioner. A hair dryer was provided. If the fan did work, it was one of those units that just blows up under the front curtain of the room. You can not pin the curtain down. If you pull back the curtain to get more heat or A/C - then you lose all your privacy. Unfortunately, it gets worse. When I was stepping out of the shower, I noticed a spot which was missed by housekeeping. Apparently someone had gotten sick in my room, and it wasn't all cleaned up. I don't really blame housekeeping because it wasn't in an easily view-able spot ? unless you were getting out of the shower. I reported my issues to the front desk and was given 15% off the bill. This in no way made up for the lack of sleep I suffered due to the noise. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a good night sleep.

    « So Convenient »

I stay at this hotel on multiple occasions. It is very clean, the staff is helpful and I was comfortable and enjoyed my stay each time. It is so close to Sky Harbor provides easy access. I will use this hotel when ever I am flying in and out of Phoenix.

    3
« IT IS WHAT IT IS »

Though near the airport, I did not find the hotel all that easy to get to. But then, I find the whole PHX layout and signage lacking. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The sink faucet sprayed water all over and the shower head dripped more than sprayed. I think these are attempts at saving water. But there are better products to save water than these cheap fixtures. Breakfast is not included. There is a restaurant attached, but I did not dine there.

    2
    « do not recommend »

Much better BW in area at about same cost. No breakfast, HVAC did not work and to busy at desk to fix when needed. Weight room very poor, but pool OK. Water pressure very weak so toilet would hardly flush. Liked that we could park car right outside our room.

    « RLH »

Room was clean enough. Good bed. Nice sheets. We had an outsider room door, was able to see outside under the door. Compressor on air conditioner was so loud, guess that's why they had earplugs in the room. Doors and drawer wouldn't stay shut on cabinet, really didn't matter as we weren't going to use anyway. Not very nice to run into in the middle of the night. I won't stay at again because check in/out staff was very rude. Should at least be pleasant.

    5
    « Unbelivable resturant staff »

The staff at the restaurant and bar where very very nice and friendly . ron and hanna could work for me anytime. The room staff where friendly but shy. When we travel back to Tucson this is the hotel we will stay at no question. All of the bestwestern hotels should be just like this one. We have been spoiled by this hotel and it will be hard to beat.

« Good place to stay close to Phoenix Airport. »

Me and my wife stayed one night. Liked the free airport shuttle, business centre with computer and printer is handy to print boarding pass, enjoyed free coffee and snack in the morning. They have a fitness facility, we did not get time to use. Overall good value for the money.

    5
    « Clean and comfortable »

We enjoyed our stay. It was only for one night in order to be close to the airport to hop a plane the next morning. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and lovely. I especially liked that we could back up our car to unload items since we were both tired from our trip.

    « Close, clean & convenient »

This hotel is very close to the airport and extremely convenient. Shuttle is quick. They have a full service restaurant on the premises serving a full complement of good hot food. The room was clean and comfortable. The Wi-Fi worked well. Overall we were very pleased with our stay.

    2
« Disappointed in this Best Western »

Fortunately it was clean and close to the car rental return but we won't stay there again. When I opened the door I was knocked over with that cheap stinky sweet air freshner smell (like they use in gas stations). Water in shower only lukewarm. Both the air system and the refrigerator rattled and made loud noise all night. Staff were friendly but the facility itself leaves lots to be desired. The electrical outlets at the bedstand didnt work. The ALARM clock didnt work (cool for an airport hotel!) Limited selection of TV channels (and no Golf channel). The Rodehouse restaurant on the property was ok but expensive for what it was. Staff there too was friendly and helpful.

    4
    « Basic but overpriced »

This place is okay - just okay. Its clean, and the staff is friendly. Its also noisy. We stayed because we were exhausted even though we knew of other less expensive nearby motels. Everything is basic- everything. We had two towels for two of us and there is no breakfast. The onsite restaurant, again, is just okay.

    3
« Very nice staff, good bed and location made this a good stay »

We dropped off our rental car and stayed here for a quick sleep before taking a morning flight. Staff were extremely professional and helpful. The wake up call was on time, and the shuttle as well. Very professional and personable driver. The bed was small (good thing we are middle-age newlyweds and really like to be close ;-), so if you are a larger couple and/or like your space, please ask for a room with two beds. That said, it was really comfortable with high quality linens and very good pillows. I was worried about the noise from aircraft going over, but it dropped right off around 10pm and I am used to using earplugs. The heater was really noisy. I am glad it was a mild night and we did not have to leave in running while sleeping. Why can't hotels figure this one out?!? We had a really good sleep. Bathroom is very basic, but just fine, and quite clean. Carpets are a bit worn (time to replace), but looked clean. Good coffee and some fruit in the lobby in the morning. All in all, a decent stay for the price.

    3
« First place I ever stayed that put compliemtary ear plugs in the room »

I stayed here simply because it was the only hotel within walking distance of the rental car return center. Apparently hotels cannot pick up at the rental car center so rather than have to go back to the airport on the rental car shuttle then back to the hotel on the hotel shuttle, I wanted to just walk to the hotel. Anyway, the hotel is reasonably clean and updated. The bathroom is very small. The TV worked and the internet did as well. The king sized bed was fine. The staff was efficient and courteous. The early morning shuttle driver was very outgoing and helpful with all the luggage we had. Being near the end of the runway at PHX there is some noise from the aircraft, though where we were it was not too bad. I suppose on the front side of the hotel it could be worse, hence the free ear plugs. The noise diminished substantially after about 11PM They do not serve breakfast, in fact they make you sign a waiver to that effect but it was not a big deal since we were leaving at 5 AM anyway. The hotel was about $25.00/night more expensive than comparable hotels at the other end of the airport.

« My visit to Best Western »

Every year I stay at this motel. It is perfect. I appreciate the service, cleanliness, the facilities, and the shuttle to the airport. I shall return and happily recommend this motel to friends and family.

    4
« Quick stay near the airport »

It was a decent hotel with a clean bathroom and a comfortable bed. It appears to have been updated. The carpets were somewhat soiled but not to bad. Being close to the airport and freeway, their was a lot of noise, but the room was still fairly quiet considering. The water was softened, which leaves you feeling like you didn't get all the soap rinsed off. The convenient location and price makes this a desirable place to stay for travelers.

    3
    « no water pressure »

there was no water pressure in our room for shower or lavatory. almost impossible to take a shower. Bathroom sink faucet water was almost off. Barely any water. Can't believe if somebody else reported this it hasn't been fixed.

    « Location and more... »

First off, I have to say the staff of this hotel are wonderful. I booked through a third party provider an hour before arriving and they could not find my reservation but it did not matter; they did everything they could to accommodate me. The guy checking in next to me was surly and rude, and no staff in the service industry should have to accept that. But they did. (I would have cheered if they let him have it but they were polite all the way.) The negatives are that the walls are paper thin. No point commenting on airport noise...that's what you get when you book an airport hotel. The pool was lovely for a bit of last minute Arizona sunshine. And wifi is included, though reception is spotty. I was a little disappointed to not have the signature Best Western breakfast included. Breakfast was provided in the hotel restaurant but it is independently operated. All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to suggest this hotel if you need to be by the airport. The shuttle service is great, and it is also on a bus route (though you pay a fare for every leg - no transfers - so get acquainted with Uber when next in this city.

    4
    « Good Deal »

This is only rated poor for sleep quality because of the proximity to the airport and thus airplane noise. In-room air/heat units are also noisy. BUT if you want to be close to the airport for convenience AND you want to leave your car for up to 2 weeks for no parking charges, then a bit of airport noise is acceptable. The noise slows down between 10pm to 3 am and I never sleep well the night before a flight anyway. And they supply ear plugs!

  • 4
« great location but noisy »

Very convenient to airport and rent car return. We turned in rent car night before and got shuttle back to hotel and took shuttle next AM - very easy and convenient. Hotel noisy with jet and highway noise but very convenient and worked great for us - glad we had ear plugs and white noise machine. Nice restaurant bar but no breakfast included but given reasonable room price and leaving early and eating in airport was just fine. Pillows were too tall and had to use rolled up towel.

    3
    « Overnight layover »

This is nice hotel for an airport layover. It is located right at the airport and they have a shuttle that takes you to and from. It has a lounge attached to the hotel and you can have breakfast there. The room was comfortable and clean. Good for the price.

    5
    « Great hotel »

Great for the price The Lounge is great to enjoy a drink in before your flight The staff is great rather it is in the lounge , check in staff and of course the staff who takes you to the airport Always stay here before I go to the airport to catch a flight and can leave my car and the shuttle will pick me when I return

    4
« Very convenient, decent accommodations »

Primary goal in locating a hotel was shuttle service to the airport and cleanliness. This hotel served that purpose. Beds were comfortable. Only downfall was lack of restaurants within walking distance and only the regulars for pizza delivery. Eat first, check in and relax. If you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs, you are very close to the airport.

    2
    « No Hot Water »

Woke up in time to take a shower and catch the shuttle to the airport, only to discover there wasn't any hot water. Front desk apologized for the inconvenience. I asked for the manager to call me, and he has yet to do so.

    « Good For Airport »

The best part of this hotel is the location being very close to the airport so is ideal if you are only staying a night before flying out again. On arrival I had to wait longer than I would normally like to be checked in as both staff members seemed more interested in having a chat with another guest who they seemed to know. Once the checkin process started it went fairly quickly, I was disappointed to note that my Best Western Rewards Diamond status was not recognised by the hotel despite contacting the hotel by email before arriving and being assured it would be and also handing over the membership card to the member of staff checking in but this was still not recognised. As I had been travelling for nearly 20 hours at is point I could not be bothered arguing to get the benefits I would normally get. The room itself was ok once I reached it however it was a long way from reception and up a flight of stairs as there was no lift. I was given this room despite asking for a room close to reception. The room can be best described as adequate. It was clean and covered all the bases however the wifi was patchy and would drop out on both my phone and IPad. The TV was also very fuzzy on some channels. The room was very stuffy when I arrived, I switched on the AC but it was very noisy and shook. When flights started arriving in the early hours, the sound was very noticeable, more so than other airport hotels I have stayed in. When checking out in the morning I asked why my status had not been recognised. The member of staff was very proactive and contacted Best Western by telephone however Best Western simply confirmed I was Diamond and blamed the hotel's computer reservation system. I was given a $5 gift card for Starbucks to say sorry.

    « BW Phoenix Airport November 2015 »

We stayed one night at the BW Airport, we were flying out the next day so the location was ideal, shuttle service took us right to the door, it was there when scheduled and we did not have to wait. The hotel is comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The only thing that was not included was breakfast, we were told when we booked there was breakfast included but you have to go to the restaurant. The service was excellent in the restaurant and the breakfast was good but of course not free.

« Excellent choice for airport motel with shuttle »

For a budget price, this was a great quality motel. Very clean. Free shuttle ran on time and driver (especially the 5 am driver) was exceedingly prompt and polite and helpful. Staff gave good advice on where to get cheapest gas before returning rental car. Rooms have mini fridge but they don't have microwaves, but there are a couple of microwaves in public areas that one can use. Lobby has computers and a nice limited breakfast early in the morning (bananas, coffee, snacks). Fitness center is pretty good, well equipped (but closes at 10 pm--they should make it available 24/7). Nice TV, bathroom, etc. Free wifi worked perfectly. The area is not within walking distance of anything so pick up whatever food, etc. you need BEFORE coming. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends.

    4
    « Perfect Location »

Very close to the airport; quick an easy transfer to and from the airport; they have a van transfer in the morning back to the airport regardless of how early - 3:30 a.m. was no problem; good restaurant attached to the hotel - watched a ballgame, had good food and good service. Clean room; nice staff.

« New pattern for short trips, airport hotels »

I've now considered the convenience and cost efficiency of jetting in the night before a meeting, shuttling to an airport hotel for the night, shuttling back to the airport car rental and renting for just a few hours to get the deal done... If this is you and your destination is Phoenix, I recommend the Best Western Airport Inn. Nothing fancy but all of the "must have" boxes are checked... Economy, cleanliness, comfort and convenience. The on site restaurant is a plus!!!!

« Overnight stay was pleasant. »

Room was pretty and clean. Stayed there because I had an early morning flight and its close to the airport. Shuttle was prompt. The staff was friendly. The door had inside security locks. I used the jacuzzi and it was a good temperature. I travel alone and felt safe there. There is an adjoining restaurant and it is the only one walking distance as far as I could tell. It was a pleasant stay.

    4
    « Better Than Anticipated »

Airport hotels are almost never better than "average," but this one is a cut above the rest. I recall a very comfortable bed, a good shower, and a working TV and wi-fi in a basic but clean room. Very convenient to the airport, and staff showed me where to fill up on gasoline so I could avoid getting scalped at Budget rental. Recommended.

    4
« convenient hotel by airport- phoenix »

older well maintained property; clean, updated rooms; friendly excellent service; restuarnat on property serves good food so no need to leave. Would recommend for short stays and convenience to airport in Phoenix; also provides a shuttle to airport an dis very close to the car rental return.

    5
« Pleasant and Easy Access »

Staff were very accommodating to my needs and the hotel is strategically located near the airport and central Phoenix, AZ. Would recommend to anyone coming in and out of Phoenix. They went out of their way to get me the exact room I wanted near parking for easy access.

« Great stay for an affordable price »

Hotel was very clean, staff was pleasant, yes there was Airport and Freeway noise, but once you close the door to the room you barely notice. Be prepared to drive a bit if you don't want to eat at their restaurant.

    4
« Very clean hotel, pleasant experience not too much for kids »

If you like quiet then don't stay here as it is right next to the airport. The noise didn't necessarily bother us. The check in experience was OK, we had a Best Western point reward and the employee wasn't sure how to handle that. The room was clean and done nice. They had a heated pool to use, which we tried but it was about 7 p.m. and there wasn't great lighting and it didn't look like they had cleaned it out for a while so we didn't stay in it too long. The TV's also only offer one children's channel and that is PBS which as we all know doesn't have kids programming at night so it was difficult trying to keep my 6 year old entertainment in the room. I would come back and stay here again fi I didn't have my son with me.

« An Above Average Option for Travelers. »

My experiences with hotels near a major airport have been bad and most of them are budget motels with very little to offer the average person except a noisy A/C unit, an uncomfortable spring -loaded bed, and a not-so-functioning shower. However, this BW is above average. I'll start with my Pluses: 1. The room. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. I liked having a fridge so I could bring food from home and keep in the fridge for dinner and breakfast the next morning. The heater was easy to operate and wasn't too noisy, even though I turned it off when I went to bed. 2. The Bed & Pillows. The pillows had lumps, but they still had enough support left in them that I could sleep a solid 5 hours without having to stack them 3 high and felt relatively rested in the morning. The bed was supportive without being too hard and I liked having a duvet to sleep under instead of an ugly bedspread with a paper thin blanket and a sheet. 3. The door: when I pushed back far enough in, it stayed open by itself so I could easily walk into the room with my suitcase in tow and didn't need to race the door before it closed on me. 4. I was not forced to sit on the bed for everything. I had an office chair w/ desk and a chair with a footrest where I could relax, watch TV, and eat the food I brought with me. Now the negatives. 1. Most BW's I've stayed at will offer some sort of breakfast in the morning, but this one has a restaurant attached to it, so no breakfast bar is offered in the morning. The restaurant's prices are high and the choice is limited for breakfast. Plus, there's nothing else around there since it's located on the edge of an industrial park, so you'd have to get in your car and drive for awhile if you want to find a decent place to eat. So you're kind of a captive audience if you arrived via airport shuttle, which the hotel provides. 2. It is VERY CLOSE to the airport and you will hear planes taking off until 10pm. The planes are so close upon take off that you read the livery of the plane using the just the lights on the aircraft. That's about all I have to say about this place. Overall, I recommend this place. It's better than most around the PHX AIRPORT.

    5
    « One night stay »

This was a very welcome hotel. I arrived after a long time big flight from London. Check in was easy, staff were friendly and helpful. The room was large, the be dead divine in terms of comfort. The room was spacious and clean all in all great place for overnight stays I must say I didn't hear much traffic air or car at all .

« Once Again, Happily Surprised »

The neighborhood was a little dubious at first glance but the hotel is very nice. I am accustomed to having a free breakfast provided at BW but this BW did NOT provide breakfast; a first for me. But the room was clean and comfy, the pool and hot tub lovely and the noise was amazingly tolerable considering the location near the airport. Once again, way to go BW; you delivered good quality at a reasonable price.

« Yeah, it's loud...but you can't beat the proximity to the airport »

Most of the reviews about this place are complaining about the plane noise. Yes, you will hear planes taking off from Sky Harbor at this hotel...because it is literally located about a block away from the airport! It's also right off the 10 freeway, so you'll get road noise too. But chances are, you're staying at this hotel for one night because you have an early flight. If you're looking for a quiet hotel to spend a few days in, look elsewhere. But for early flight, you can't beat this hotel location and their sweet park n fly deals. (Also - no, the planes don't take off all night long. They taper off after 10pm or so.) Overall, it's an average quality hotel. A little older, but they've made some efforts to update it. Our room was mostly clean, besides some questionable dirty corners in the bathroom. For one night, we dealt with it. The pool was very clean but COLD in October - we're used to warm pools in Phoenix so that was a surprise. Booked park n fly deal directly through the BW website - about $80 got us the room plus up to 14 days free parking. Cheapest parking at Sky Harbor will run you about $60/week, so this is a sweet deal. We told the front desk when we needed to leave (about 3:45 am for a 5:30 flight) and the shuttle was ready for us when we checked out. Can't beat the convenience of getting dropped off right at your terminal without having to mess around with airport parking. When we returned from our trip, we called the front desk and asked where we should meet the van - 5 mins later, it was there. The hotel itself is only worth 3 stars, but I'm adding a 4th star for the convenience of their parking and shuttle, which we really appreciated.

« Best Place to Stay »

Front desk ladies Munse and her partner were friendly, informative and a pleasure to deal with. Excellent rooms, comfortable, had all the amenities needed, close to the airport, rooms were clean. The breakfast could use a boost, maybe some muffins and cereal. But overall a great place to stay

« Just What We Were Looking For »

Great hotel near the Phoenix Airport. We were able to return the rental car the night before departure and then take the shuttle to the airport in the am. Ate at the restaurant on site, it was very good. A lot of noise outside from the airport but this did not bother us in the room.

« My stay at Phoenix »

The staff were really nice and helpful. If you expect to get any kind of breakfast, Don't. There were bananas and coffee... the internet connection was super slow. Other than these issues the place is nice as far as airport hotels go.

    « Convenient Airport Hotel »

The Best Western Airport Inn is a friendly hotel for travelers departing Phoenix on an early flight and like the convenience of a park and stay rate. Shuttle service to and front the airport is quick and the hotel offers a peaceful night's stay. Early morning coffee is offered in the hotel lobby and the staff is very efficient.

    « Best night's sleep I've had in months! »

I have stayed at the Best Western Airport Inn several times and have never been disappointed. The staff is very professional and will do what they can to accomodate you if you have any special needs. (On one trip, I was there on crutches with a pinched nerve in my back and needed a room close to the restaurant / lounge and with a bit of juggling, they found a room!) The rooms are clean. The beds are extremely comfortable!! Airport noise is minimal. Airport shuttle is great for those that need it. The motel is close to downtown Phoenix events. If I have an overnight stay in Phoenix, I'll choose this motel.

    « Do not stay »

NO ELEVATOR. Carried luggage to and from the room! Sounds like a safety and OSHA violation. Sheets dingy. Room deodorized with floral spray to mask musty smell. Carpet stained throughout. Do not recommend although near airport.

Love the shampoo and creme rinse despenser in bathroom. Nice clean room, comfortable bed, friendliness and courteous people working at the hotel and restaurant.. Easy access to be able to get in and out of the parking area.

« Super close to airport »

This hotel is super close to the airport and most importantly, close to the car rental return. Rooms were clean and staff was super nice. While you do hear planes over head, rooms include noise reducing ear plugs. However, I suspect most people who stay at this hotel stay here BECAUSE it is so close to the airport, so one can not complain about the plane noise. Skip the restaurant that is attached to the hotel and drive a few miles down the road - plenty of other options - Chipotle, Panda, etc.

    « Noisy and smelly! »

Okay I know it's at the airport, but seriously sounds like they are taking off from the roof. The room smells like some nasty stuff they spray to cover up the scent of rotting butt, this is bad! Pretty sure you will not sleep unless you are deaf and have no sense of smell. The room however does appear clean and it is close to the airport.

    « Room Quality »

The room we slept in and the room our friend slept in had terribly loud air conditioning unit. We both had to shut them off and sleep in a hot orrm becasue they were to loud to sleep when they were runing.

    « Near that airport »

The hotel locates near the airport, approximately 5 minutes. A good place to rest if you have a late flight. We could hear the airplanes were flying by while we were inside the room every 5 to 10 minutes. We have stayed at several Best Western hotels, BUT we were not impressed with this one. The outside of the hotel looked nice. However, the inside was below our expectation. The bathroom looked old. The bed and pillow were not comfortable. The towel rack fell down because of a poor patching on the wall. Whoever did the remodel or fixing the towel rack...did a terrible job. Breakfast was not included like other Best Western hotels that we have stayed. The interior of the room looked OLD. Not sure if I would want to stay here again.

« Shame about the noise »

The hotel is clean and rooms spacious, staff are pleasant, but our much needed sleep after our vacation and just prior to flying home was ruined by a very noisy air conditioner. It was far too hot to turn it off, so we either had to go without sleep because of the noise or go without sleep due to over heating. Location ideal for the airport and the shuttle service for car rentals and flight departures were excellent but clearly I cannot recommend it

« Great Cleanliness, Location, Service and Price »

Excellent for price range. Very clean. Restaurant, Bar/Lounge is inviting and comfy. Parking for larger high profile vehicle was minimal. Conveniently located for airport and downtown meetings or entertainment activities.

« Ok hotel if all you want is to sleep 1 mile from airport before flying out »

Hotrl is a bit tired looking but is clean and convenient if you are flying out from Phoenix. We had to return a rental car so we stayed the night before our morning flight. 5 minute drive to the car rental centre. The noise from the airport is constant but we were able to sleep OK.

« Best Western Phoenix Airport »

Great location for end of travel -- easy access to airport. Always clean and comfortable with restaurant and bar services too. Consistent experience with very nice pool area. Recommend booking a room early, this location seems to stay busy.

« Airport stay for trip »

This is an excellent place to stay to park your car for free prior to flying out of Sky Harbor. They provided a simple breakfast starting at 3:00 AM to help travelers that check out early to catch the first plane out in the morning.

    « Be aware »

Watch out for scammers - the front desk people will give your room number and your name to them. They gave out my personal info to scammers who were trying to steal guests identity. It was late at night and the room phone rang. They asked for me by name - said they were having computer issues and had lost some of their guests information. Please give it to them over the phone. I went to the front desk to report this and they were indifferent and unconcerned. I called the police and they came in and talked with them. They advised me to cancel my credit card to protect myself from theft. I was not prepared to deal with the front desk clerks and the police all night. Will never stay there again.

    « nice hotel »

this hotel must be very old, room entrance was on the outside of the hotel, parking was a bit hard to find around the property, walls are paper thin, heard everything the family was doing next door. Room was ok beds, were not too bad, the shower and bathroom were rather small, for the price it was ok
