« Nice place to stay in Downtown Palm Springs »

We have stayed here a number of times over the years. It's our go to spot when coming to Palm Springs. The free breakfast is better than average: coffee, juice, boiled egg, oatmeal, bagels, waffle maker, apples, oranges, cold cereal, toast, muffins, pineapple slices, and 1 per person custom cooked omelets (but no bacon or sausage). Room was very nice. Refrig (no microwave), morning newspaper, single serving coffee maker. Flat screeen TV with HBO (also had HDMI hook up so we could watch Netflix from our laptop connected to flatscreen which is alway nice). The wifi was fast enough to stream Netflix or YouTube. Nice location right in downtown. 3 blocks from the Spa Casino for those so inclined. Nice outdoor pool and spa. Free parking and noon checkout. Friendly staff we thought. Generally what we would expect from a Best Western Plus (which we don't always find). This is not a 4 star resort but then again not a 4 star price so we were more than satisfied. No real complaints. We had a regular room but we have stayed in "Jacuzzi room" on previous trips with nice Jacuzzi in the room. We stayed on a Sunday night so our rate of course was better than it would have been on the weekend. We will definitely stay here again.

« Gem Right in the Heart of Downtwon Palm Springs »

Snagged this hotel the day of our stay, when we powered through our drive and hit town a day earlier than we thought we would. Wow, we were very pleased! The quote I saw online was $104/night, but when I checked in, the front desk guy offered the AAA rate which saved us $6/night. I appreciated that gesture! The room was very clean, bright and quiet. The continental breakfast is actually a REAL breakfast served in the club house: omelets made to order, hot and cold cereal, toast, yogurt, waffles, coffee, tea, juice and hot chocolate. Really great. The hotel is located on Indian Canyon drive just 1 block from the heart of downtown, including: public parking, Lulu (a very popular, chic restaurant), and many many shops and attractions. Unbeatable location, esp for the value price of this hotel. I highly recommend.

« Where I usually stay in Palm Springs »

Great relaxing pool area with bar poolside. Rooms are a little outdated, but always clean. Close walk to town and shopping. Staff is helpful and breakfast always been above what you would expect. (love the made to order omelet's)

    « Anniversary Stay »

Had to deal with loud music, strong sexual noise coming from the room next door.No staff available to report it.We request a pool view and on arrival we didn't get it , we end up facing the parking lot

« Our home away from home »

We consider BW Plus Las Brisas to be our #1 choice in hotels in downtown Palm Springs. This hotel has been our home away from home for many years. We enjoy the well maintained grounds as much as the comfort of each room. Very romantic, beautiful gardens, pool and spa and sitting areas, great breakfast and sincerely friendly staff. Just a walk across the street to begin the downtown experience!

    « Weekend Fun »

We were in town recently to go to the car auction. We planned to be at the auction all day and then spend time downtown in the evening. We wanted a nice place close to downtown but wanted something reasonable knowing we would not spend a lot of time at the hotel. This was perfect. Clean and comfortable and within walking distance to downtown. There was food and breakfast each morning with places to spend time outside. We enjoyed downtown and loved the hotels location. We would stay again since we're not usually looking for an all-inclusive resort type of place - we are usually out and about. It could be a little noisy at night with the activity downtown, but not bad and didn't last all night. Wouldn't stop us from staying again.

    « Good Location »

Stayed here for a couple of nights on our way back to Las Vegas. Room was large and comfortable and the breakfast was good fresh made omelettes to order. There was some construction going on around the pool area which was a bit of a bind a couple of complimentary cocktails would have been nice.Good location to be able to walk to shops and plenty of restaurants.

« Great hotel location in Palm Springs »

This hotel is a good place to stay if you want to park your car and walk to lots of restaurants and other tourist attractions. Very clean, comfortable rooms, great staff and really good free breakfast, especially the custom omelettes.

« Great Value for Location »

My wife and I stayed at the Best Western Plus Las Brisas this past weekend. We had a wonderful stay. Our bedroom with a king size bed was spacious. The pool area was perfectly appointed. Finally the hotel location was perfect being two blocks from downtown. The Best Western Plus Las Brisas Hotel is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Palm Springs.

« A Noisy Room with an Attitude »

You've been there. Check in late, and ask for a quiet room., hoping to get to sleep. Get a room next to the building AC which rattles its high-pitch whine 24/7. Ask for a change of room, and receive attitude. "That gets complicated trying to change rooms. I don't even want to go there."

    « Palm Springs,California »

Adam is an excellent employee. He is a definite asset for BW and an excellent choice to have "out in front". He went above and beyond to ensure that I was happy and satisfied with my stay in Palm Springs,CA. When I return to BW Plus in Palm Springs,I certainly hope that Adam is there.

    « A comfortable and decent hotel »

We stayed in this hotel for two days in our recent trip to Palm Springs. The hotel is located in downtown area and within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, and the casino. It's location is a plus. The check in was done very efficiently. Our room was not a luxurious room but was comfortable. There was a small refrigerator that became handy to store cold drinks and fruit. The beddding, towels, and the room itself, including the bathroom, were clean. The only shortcoming was that it had only one window that did not allow more light into the room. This together with the dark decore made the room look rather dark. The price was reasonable and included free breakfast, which consisted of coffee, tea, an assortment of cereal, fruit, waffle, bread, honey, variety of jams, and scrambled egg prepared to order. Breakfast was served from 6 to 10 am. The hotel has a small pool and ample free parking spaces. We found the staff friendly and quite helpful. It was a delight to be so close to many shops and restaurants. Even though the hotel is located in downtown area, our room was very quiet. We could not hear the sound of the traffic.

« Hotel is excellent but let down by location »

Really wanted to have a relaxing stay in Palm Springs and sleep and chill. Usually book the other Best Western but it was booked so we booked this one. Initially we thought location would be awesome as it is near the restaurants on the main street. Hotel is lovely, it has lovely courtyard for sitting in, bar at the pool and a lovely feel. However, it is next to seedy and very noisy bars that pump music till very late (2am) and attract customers that are loud and obnoxious. Can't even sleep in the day as you hear them laugh and scream for no reason. To top it all, periodically, someone would come and unload glass bottles into a container behind the bar in the car park, which made an awful noise. We stayed in C building but I reckon each building is probably affected by it. If you are after a restful time, this location is not great. Did not want to mark the hotel down for its neighbours but will not be staying here again as I could not rest. Shame, as it is a nice hotel.

    « Unrelaxing 2016 birthday visit »

The staff is very friendly and the hotel is in a great location - walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. Our visit would have been much more pleasurable if we hadn't had to listen to construction by the pool all day every day of our visit.

    « ok in a pinch »

Not much room to manuver in room. Smell of room (old smoke & cover-up spray) was sisckening. Mediocre toiletries. Showerhead so high up, you need to be really tall to reach it. not very safe to try if you are under 5'5". Loud stomping most of the evening and morning from room above. Confusing hotel layout when trying to reach breakfast room from back bldg of hotel, past fenced pool area. Breakfast room ok, typical, not much fruit offering but did have omelet service which was nice.

    « FOLKS - THIS IS A 5 DIAMOND PLACE! »

We needed a place while traveling. And from our AAA tour book found this place - rated only 2-diamonds. Well, we picked it. Low and behold, this is a great place. The room was immaculate clean. No stains on the floor, the furniture with no nicks and bangs. The bathroom very clean. The whole place was immaculate. We had just stayed at a 4-diamonfd Hilton at $300/nite in San Diego and it was deplorable. This place should be rated 5 diamonds buy AAA. You will not regret this choice. Within walking distance of many restaurants. Parking on-site no charge. Breakfast is hot food served with a cook on-site.

« Palm Springs Flying Expo »

My company representative recently booked me into the Best Western Plus, Las Bria's Hotel, for one night, while I attended the Palm Spring Flying Expo at the Palm Springs airport. I was very skeptical about stay a Best Western...was I ever wrong! This is an excellent property, great location to downtown Palm Springs, e.g., easy walking distance to very thing! The property staff were very professional with a high level to customer service and customer satisfaction. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, functional, and well appointed. I would stay at this property again and will recommend it to my family and friends.

    « Good Experience »

This was our first time and we only stayed one night. Our room was large and clean. The location was perfect. You can walk to the main street. There is a great seafood restaurant right across the street. Pool area looked very nice but we did not have the time to take advantage of it. Breakfast was very good. They have an omelet bar which is a nice treat for a free breakfast. I liked the hotel very much and would definitely stay there again. Had no issues or problems checking in or out.

« Super Stressful Check - in and more :( »

We have a special needs child and has a difficult time waiting. I called the morning of to make sure everything would go smoothly and we could have our requests. When we tried to check in over five hours later we were met with an hour of stress, excuses and blame instead of sympathy. They said... "They couldn't do anything for us" and we "don't have a room for you" and if we do "it would be alot more $" and when I requested a manager's help she was "too busy". When we finally straightened things out our son was set-of the rest of the weekend, anxious, and could not sleep until almost 2am in our small downgraded room, and my stressed out husband who already has a stressful job said he "wished the weekend never happened". When I called the manager like she told me to the following Monday for consolation she said kinda of rudely, "This conversation is over". In the end, I was REALLY looking forward to this trip with the hotel's amenities and location but was sorely disappointed with everything else. We just wish the staff would've been more apologetic and sympathetic and just tried to help us right away.

« We felt let down, but we'll probably return »

This is a very good hotel, but they put us in a noisy room, number A207. It overlooks the street and a small temporary construction site in the front parking lot. Also, in front of rooms A205 and A207 (and the same two on the third floor) are two empty tables and chairs that beg strangers to sit down and have a party in front of your bedroom door. The breakfast was still the same waffles-or-omelet fare. But now guests mostly queue for omelets because they installed two waffle-making machines. We have tried other hotels in the area, and we returned to Las Brisas because the location and price suit our needs. But we didn't know about room A207 when we made the reservation. We'll probably go back, but we will avoid street-facing rooms with odd numbers ending in 1 to 11 in building A.

    « Beautiful But Awkward »

So, we checked in after dark, after a long drive. As we attempted to reach our first-floor room, the grounds staff was busy pulling out hoses, watering plants, walkways, etc. Made it rather difficult to maneuver a large rolling bag, and my wife's walker, over hoses and through puddles to reach our room. Which was supposed to have a pool view, though that view was blocked by screening. The room was nothing special, smallish but clean. Overall, the impression was of luxury, but we probably needed to stay longer than one night to really experience all of it. Four stars for the ambience, though I've felt more comfortable in less luxurious surroundings.

    5
« Lovely oasis in th desert »

Las Brisas is a BW Plus so a little better than the average BW was the expectation. However it exceeded these expectations considerably. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, the property seems more like a small resort than just a hotel and the staff are welcoming. Highly recommended.

« Good hotel, very friendly staff but very expensive »

Stayed here in October 2016 to attend the Desert Trip rock festival in Indio 25 miles away. Hotel very pleaant, staff friendly, very clean facilities. Room slightly old-fashioned and rustic, but comfortable. Only criticism was level of charges which seemed to have been hiked (probably at least doubled) because of demand caused by festival.

    4
    « Great stay »

Location, service and quietness. Room is on the small side but it is a spanish colonial building. Close to where the action is, restaurants, museums, villagefest, some trails, public buses stops and bars.

    4
« Nice hotel in Palm Springs »

Spacious, clean rooms, with a nice outdoor dining area. Major construction with jackhammers for breakfast was an unwelcome surprise, and the breakfast offerings were unusually limited. We would stay there again, but only after confirmed that no more construction projects were underway.

    « What A Perfect Location »

I do not recall ever staying at a Best Western. We usually stay at the Hyatt when in Palm Springs. Being retired we are tired of paying those hotel rip off fees that include parking and resort fees. We elders quite pleased with this property. It's very clean, well maintained and the staff are awesome especially Ruben who is the libations specialist. The location is perfect. Our car sat parked until we packed up to leave. The hotel is downtown and pretty much a block here or there of walking to eat and shop. There is also a free PS shuttle out front that will take you further. We believe we have found a new place to stay when in Palm Springs.

    « best hotel stays »

hotel and location are excellent for all phases -its a fantastic area - restaurants are plentiful and things to do are numerious- I would recommend this hotel to any one taking tours and just walking around the area is very safe

    3
« Nice room, but tiny bathroom area »

The room area with the beds was quite large, but the bathroom areas were tiny. Small vanity area, 2 people could in no way get ready at the same time. The toilet/shower room was so small it was hard to get around the door to close it. Plenty of space in the sleeping area, not nearly enough in the bathroom areas. The pool bar was under construction so we were not able to use that. The room A/C worked really well. My receipt was not emailed to me as I was promised, so I had to call later to request it be emailed to me. But I will stay here again in the future because it is literally the closest hotel to the main downtown area & the restaurant/bar where I spend most of my time & want to be within walking distance.

    « Nice Hotel »

Best Western Las Brisas in Palm Springs, CA is a wonderful hotel at a great value. The location is very convenient to downtown Palm Springs. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast is very nice with omelet bar and waffles. The bar and restaurant have a nice selection if staying by the pool We have been coming to this hotel for years and will continue to come for the years to come.

    « A friendly Desert Oasis »

we returned after an absence of four years to find torrential rain ! The hotel however was as we remembered it, friendly, helpful with our room spotless and most important ice cold as we were still experiencing really high temperatures despite the rain. Breakfast was very good with a great variety to set you up for a day of sightseeing. The bar in the evening was a pleasure as the Barman Adrian kept the atmosphere going chatting and involving everyone. We were very impressed when we visited the pool to find that a concern we had raised on our last visit had been addressed (support railings in the pool covered to prevent burns to elderly/children) well done the Management team. we would recommend the hotel to anyone who wants to be near the city centre at a reasonable price.

    5
« Place to stay while going to show »

If you are going to the Palm Springs Quilt show this a great place to stay. After the show on Thur. evening there is a street fair just a short walk from this BW. Also many places to eat or get take out food (esp. from Sherman's) and take it back to one of the patio's. There is a bar by the pool.

    3
« Overnight after Joshua Tree National Park »

Room was clean & comfortable, the pool was great after a long hot day in the national park. We only stayed overnight bedforte heading on to San Diego. The breakfast was good, and the hotel has a good layout. The staff were welcoming and friendly.

    4
    « overall very good »

We have stayed at this hotel many times and always enjoyed it.However since the previous bartender Bil left they have employed a new one.He is under the illusion we are all wanting to party whereas most people around the pool just want to relax. The loud hailer has to go!!!!

    4
« Great price for the location »

Reasonable price to be a block away from the downtown area. The room was very clean, safe and comfortable. The outside area was well maintain. They have the best free breakfast we have ever experience. They had a person who made omelets that took just a few minutes right in the breakfast room. If we ever come this way again we will not look for another motel, we will return to this little gem.

    5
« Central hotel, large rooms, would return »

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Central location a short (5 min walk) into central Palm Springs. Staff were friendly and helpful and good sized rooms. The pool area was enjoyable with a small bar with attentive staff and water coolers (much needed in the desert heat!). Would recommend and return.

    5
« Our new favorite Palm Springs hotel »

Loved the resort feel without the cost! The staff was super nice and went out of the way to accomodate us! Antonia was especially helpful. The pool area is smaller, but very pretty and the bartender makes great drinks. Great location, we walked every where.

    3
    « Good Hotel »

This was our third stay at this hotel over about 4 years. Rooms are of average size and have had new linen since we were here last, the beds are comfortable. The pool is a good size although because of the trees and climbing plants there does get quite a few leaves and plant debris in it. I think the outside of the hotel could now do with an update. It is in a good location and easy to walk to main street Palm Springs where there are some nice restaurants and shops. The staff are friendly and it is nice having a bar by the pool, the bar manager was very pleasant. Missed Bill though

    5
    « Great Hotel »

Very good location in Palm Springs close to the shops and restaurants. Great hotel with a good sized pool and lots of sun loungers to enjoy the sun on. Room was very spacious and the bathroom had all of the necessary amenities. Hotel was a fabulous start to our holiday. Air con worked very well and was a necessity! Lots of parking.

    5
« Best hotel of our trip »

Really lovely room with large comfortable bed. Nice linen. The room was scented with a lovely aroma, not strong. Our best hotel out of 6 on our trip. Friendly and helpful reception. Towels for pool. Water spray for sun beds. Great barman at pool. Made you very welcome. Pool lovely temperature. Free parking. Free wifi. Good breakfast which can be eaten in or out. Great location for street market. Short drive to Aerial Tramway to mountain with amazing views and lovely walk in cooler temperature. The best outlet mall is a short drive away. Great restaurants nearby. Quiet air conditioning and very peaceful nights sleep. We stayed 2 nights, I would have liked more. Very good value.

    « Hotel so central »

We went to palm springs to visit someone in hospital. We did manage though to make it feel like a holiday it was in the downtown area near fabulous restaurants. Parking so convenient. Swimming pool a necessity in the heat. Tgere was also a hot tub whuch actualky was nice when the sun went behind tge mountains in the evening. Breakfast included with a great choice. Daily housekeeping and air conditioning. The staff were so friendly and helpful.

    4
    « Good overnight stay »

I stayed at this hotel for one night because of the time I arrived in Palm Springs. Very good hotel and good breakfast, a little expensive as there are other hotels with higher rating at a lesser price but nice hotel and staff. and very good breakfast

    3
« Good location and very friendly staff »

The room was a good size and very comfortable. We didn't use the pool facilities but the breakfast had an omelette station which was a pleasant change from the usual standard breakfasts. The front desk staff were very helpful and a large jar of ice cold orange water was available during the day. I gave some constructive comments about the fact that the designated smoking areas were not marked as such nor were the external corridors marked as non-smoking which meant our neighbor's smoke did find its way under the rather large gap below our door. Hopefully this will be taken on board for next time we visit.

    5
« Great Stay! Terrific Atmosphere! »

Stayed one night on our way to LA. The courtyard and pool areas are beautiful! Room was also very nice. The hotel is located one block off the prime downtown area, so it the street is blocked off for an art show (as it was during our visit), it's very convenient. We got a great rate from the Visitor Information Center. Apparently, in the morning, all the hotels fax them any promotions for that day.

    4
    « Labor Day 2016 »

This hotel is nice. Pool is good, friendly people. However, many people have asked why no music on one end of pool. Maintenance said he would fix it and he disappeared. There are 2 speakers not working. Pool and area was full of leaves. Was not windy today. I feel it may be getting not properly maintained. What is next? But rooms comfortable and nice. Good prices. Breakfast good, wish could make eggs over easy, but cannot have everything.

    5
    « Excellent Customer Service »

Everyone was VERY helpful, Hotel Very Clean, Great Free Breakfast. All employees were happy to see us. The rooms were clean and very comfortable beds. Definitely, will stay again with family. We received more for our money. thank you

    « best get away »

Picked this hotel for the pool and lounge by the pool. They looked better in person then the picture on the web. That doesn't happen often. The room was great. Nice and clean. Would liked to have had a coffee maker. I like my coffee. The room didn't have one.

    4
    « Palm Springs »

This is not your cookie cutter hotel chain. The grounds are well kept and many patio seating areas. Considering this is the desert, many lush trees, plants, and water fountains. Even though it is on a main street the architecture and design of the grounds are secluded from the traffic noise. So convenient for walking to restaurants and shopping.

    5
    « Best of them »

Another great stay. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Very convenient. Will stay again. The hotel is older spanish style, rooms are very up to date. At it's close to so many restaurants and night clubs, and definite find if in Palm Springs for business or pleasure.

    « Street festival »

Las Brisas is block away from the center of town. It's a cozy setting with a view of a large mountain and beautiful fragrant flowering bushes around the grounds. Nice pool with a bar and cantina inside the lobby. They offer a some what plentiful breakfast included with the price of the room. Staff is willing to do anything to make your stay comfortable. Beds are very comfortable and linens are good quality. On Thursday evenings they a street festival on a block away. Vendors offer homegrown fruit/vegetables, candles, glass decor,paintings,etc..lots of fun

Nothing special, nothing bad either. It's a clean place to lay your head for the night. It's a fair deal with nice staff members. Breakfast could be improved but I also understand they cannot shop and read the minds of everyone staying with them.

« A very Nice Best Western in Palm Springs »

Stayed here for one night on our way through to LAX. Hotel is ideally located close to many good restaurants and shops in the downtown. The pool area is nice and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The Front Desk staff was phenomenal. Breakfast...meh.....

« Nice hotel, great location »

« Best hotel in Palm Springs! »

This is such a lovely hotel and such a great value! Breakfast was delicious with omelets, waffles, and many other fresh selections. The pool area was always clean and well-maintained and included a phenomenal view of the mountains. Our room was large, clean, and everything we needed, plus almost everything was in walking distance. We would never recommend staying anywhere else in Palm Springs!

« clean hotel in good location »

we only stayed here for one night so cant really judge on much if the service. The breakfast was good - but the room can be busy. The pool area was nice. The hotel seemed to be clean and well maintained

« True California Hospitality with family comfort »

Great place to enjoy while staying in Palm Springs, California. Great hospitality from all staff. Decent location close to central downtown, easy access to shopping via Uber or even the Sun Line transit system. The 111 bus line takes you to shopping to Target etc(same bus back) close to airport and clean rooms and good rooms. Well shaded rooms from the desert sun. Very walkable to many shopping amenities. Would stay again.

« Perfect to Explore Downtown Palm Springs »

This hotel is centrally located where you can walk to the shops and restaurants in down town Palm Springs. Have stayed here many times and always had a pleasant visit. We always enjoy the breakfast and the freshly made omelets.

    5
« Great hotel in the affordable range, Close to downtown »

This hotel is very nice. Close to downtown, so you're within walking distance of the good restaurants and things to do. Pool is great, the pool area is very nice with shade and the little bar area there. Housekeeping is nice. Beds are comfy. Staff / customer service is great. Breakfast is good. They have cereal, pastries, DIY waffle makers, and a made-to-order omelet bar. One morning I got there early (right when it opened) and there was no one manning the omelet bar, but the other times there was someone. Omelets were good. Downsides? You will pay more for the "BW Plus" aspects and for the pleasure of the location, and significantly more on weekends. If you are looking for a cheaper option, you can see my review of Best Western Inn at Palm Springs.

« Best place for a Family Reunion »

Amazing service, hospitality and overall comfort atmosphere for all ages to relax and enjoy a nice stay. Mixologist/Bartender makes awesome tasting drinks. The appetizers by the poolside are tasty and the security in the facility is amazing. A stay worth recommending to anyone, as its close to Palm Canyon, walking distance to the village festival and the famous Las Casuelas Terraza and the amazing shops near by.

This hotel was a short walk to Palm Canyon Drive , which was very convenient for going to restaurants and shops. They have a bar at the pool that also serves appetizers, the hotel is on the smaller size but I loved it, and as so impressed with the front desk staff, they went out of their way to be accommodating in all ways possible. I would definitely stay here again, maybe not in August, from what I was told it is the hottest month in Palm Springs and I can attest to that it was very hot and humid...but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!!

This a wonderful hotel! All of the Staff were great! Right in the heart of downtown Palm Springs. Walk to restaurants and shops! Beautiful Spanish architecture. Close to Airport. There is a wonderful full breakfast each morning with Belgian Waffles and eggs made to order..

« Really nice comfortable hotel »

Stayed here for four nights to spend time with friends who were in a local RV park. Found it very comfortable after a long flight from the uk and beautiful place to sit around near the pool. Was very happy here. Wasn't crazy about the breakfasts though - too many omelettes!

    « Nice Hotel »

We always stay at Las Brisas when we come to Palm Springs. The location is fantastic. You can walk to restaurants and shopping in the downtown area. The staff is friendly and veery helpful. We have always stayed in a room with a hot tub. The room is extra large and the bed is for comfy.

    « Pleasant stay »

Beautiful hotel and friendly, helpful staff at front desk. Within walking distance of downtown Palm Springs. Pool was small and very crowded when we were there. Breakfast was nice, but not as many choices as some other Best Westerns. All in all a very good value.

    « Won't be back... »

Smoking areas on balcony are right outside your non-smoking room with tables and ashtrays. So you get the joy of people hanging out 3 feet from your door smoking and talking. Check-in staff were not friendly at all. Vines growing in the ice machines. Maid entered room and threw our "last minute" things away as we were busy loading car to leave. Won't be back...ever...

    « Another Excellent Experience »

This was our 3rd stay here at the Best Western PLUS Las Brisas. We come out to CA at least once per year to visit family and always look forward to a few days in Palm Springs, heat and all. This is a very convenient, comfortable and friendly place to stay. A great bartender, Ruben, made it all the more enjoyable.

Very nice hotel. Felt very safe in a nice part of town. Close to supermarket, pharmacy, dining, etc. Room clean and tidy with great aircon! Breakfast very good. Nice pool with poolside bar. Friendly staff.

    « What a gret place »

This is definitely a great Oasis in the desert. One of the best "Best Westerns" in California. Rooms, location, and service are superb! They are always accommodating to our needs. Usually we are 4 to 7 motorcycle riders coming from the HOT desert with beers waiting and a refreshing pool.

« Good hotel, nice and clean »

In the center of Palm Springs, basic hotel, but clean enough and comfortable. Rooms stay cool during the night even without airco. Only advice is: avoid connected rooms if possible - you hear everything from next door!

« Great staff, location, value and ambiance! »

It's not fancy but it's comfortable, relaxing, clean, the staff is friendly and welcoming and you can walk to so much close by. There's also a great seafood restaurant right across the street. Don't miss the breakfast there in the morning, it's so much more than continental! They have a pool and spa, and a little bar in the lobby. Even the guests are friendly and mellow, who I talked to. I love this place, have been twice and will go back again. I recommend!

    « An interesting stay! »

My husband and I wanted to see what Palm Springs is all about so stayed for one night during our honeymoon road trip! We had different views on the hotel but I thought it was a lovely charming place with character! We headed straight to the pool on arrival and the barman was so friendly and congratulated us with free shots. The poolside was fairly quiet but we gathered at this point that mostly older people stay at the hotel. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The only downside is the fact that all rooms have a window and to our surprise we actually saw a completely naked lady fast asleep on her bed!!! We also forgot to close our curtains and when returning to our room realised that our belongings were left on show. Make sure you close the curtains as the net curtains don't do anything! We couldn't decide where to eat out for dinner as the hotel is in a central location with plenty of choice! The free breakfast was delicious and I was so pleased to see omelettes were available. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay!

    « very nice place »

very clean. very nice hotel. very good location in PS. breakfast was just ok (I would have prefered more "protein" and fruits/vegetables; it was mostly "sweets/carbs". pool area very nice. internet worked great both in the room and the pool area

    « If I could keep this place a secret, I would! »

This hotel has it ALL. Right in the middle of downtown, pool, bar, delicious FREE breakfast, no parking fee & no resort fee. Why even look anywhere else unless you want to spend more money for less value.

« Comfortable stay in Plam Springs »

We enjoyed the calm ambience and laid back atmosphere in an extremely comfortable setting over the July 4 th period. Centrally located to walk to fantastic restaurants and nightlife. The hotel had plenty of families but the building design lends it self to a quiet experience

« Great Property. Great Value »

A classy property with great value right near downtown Palm Springs! We just stayed on a quick overnight, but the room was very well decorated and tended to. Breakfast is free. There's a bar.lounge near the lobby, a pool with a BBQ grill (operated by staff), and a back patio. It felt like a refurbished landmark hotel, operated by Best Western. So it came at a great price!

« Excellent location, rooms so so »

I chose this hotel for the location. I also wanted to stay in a reputable chain. The hotel is dog friendly and whilst I didn't travel with a pet there were fleas in the room. The tv had lots of channels but the reception was terrible. Had to get maintenance up to fix the reception but was advised there was nothing that could be done and that was just how it was. In the end I fiddled around with it and fixed it myself. The hotel is in an excellent location, walking distance to the strip with all the restaurants and local shops. The hotel was pretty quiet for a big hotel. Beautiful views from the pool and from the balcony around the rooms. The grounds were well maintained and kept neat and tidy every day, free parking, but as its a larger hotel and when returning late at night couldn't always guarantee getting a close spot. The pool is on the smaller side. Free parking, free wifi and free breakfast with cooked to order eggs.

« My Palm Springs hotel from now on!!! »

Cannot beat the location, room was very clean and comfortable, requested a ground floor room and was very quite morning and evening. Loved having the pool bar and complimentary breakfast. Love the Spanish style with all the greenery around.

    « Reasonable and Comfortable »

Was taking a few days vacation for visiting friends in the Desert and didn't want to spend an arm and leg for a hotel room.....just something comfortable and convenient. This hotel filled the bill perfectly. First of all the bedroom is quite large......close to 400 square feet (room 308). They have a large flat panel t.v. that was about 46":.....maybe more with excellent reception. A long dresser is provided that has a built in desk and chair, 3 drawer dresser, cabinet holding a refrigerator (empty...perfect for snacks), and safe.....plus some additional room. A desk lamp is also provided. Two comfortable queen size beds (new I think) with sparkling white bedspreads and plenty of pillows. A two drawer night stand is between the beds with one lamp.....not too great if you are reading in bed as it provides light in both directions and could be disturbing to your partner. Two down light spots (one adjacent to each bed) would be ideal. They do provide one luggage rack. Also two arm chairs with a table in between. The bath room has a 3 foot Pullman, about 5' of close space, with three full length mirrors. Great supply of towels. Adjacent is a small room that holds the toilet and bath/shower combo with a shower curtain. Water pressure is good and experienced no problems. On the wall they provide dispensers with soap, shampoo and conditioner. They also supply two pool towels. Also provided is an ironing board, iron, hair blower, hand cream. I would love a wall mounted and lit magnifying mirror. I wonder how many people actually use an ironing board and iron, but a lot of older people like my wife and myself love a good magnifying mirror. Maid service was excellent.....room very fresh and clean. Breakfast.... an omelet bar with choices of ham, onions, tomatoes, cheese, mushroom and peppers. Very good. Also provided are three types of cold cereal and oat meal. Mini bagels and English muffins are available....peanut butter, cream cheese, three different kinds of jam, orange juice (frozen), apple juice and watermelon were also available. Coffee plus are provided as hot beverages. They also had some types of Danish that didn't look too appealing to me. Also some people eating mini waffles. Very nice to have this included in the rate. The rate was $89.99 off season (June 27 & 28) mid-week.......plus about $16.05 in daily taxes and fees. A lovely pool for a hotel of this nature, a cantina with liquor round off the goodies For the money, I think you are really getting exceptional value. And being right in the center of Palm Springs, you can walk anywhere in the downtown area.....just a couple of blocks from Coffee Bean, retail shops and a ton of restaurants. Air conditioning in room does a great job, but a bit on the noisy side and drafty if you are in the bed closest to the wall unit.

« Well located and good value Palm Springs hotel for families »

Nice Spanish style hotel with large pool and dining options. Rooms were great with nice views of the mountains in the background. ||Breakfast was not the best I have eaten in a Best Western . The omelette station run by the matriarchal person was ok - but omelette every morning is lacking in variety. When I asked for my omelette to be less well done than those in front in the queue I was targeted for retribution I think. As I picked up a roll from a basket she ( the omelette person) charged out and told me to use the tongs. No real problem but a quieter approach with 'please' would have been nice. By the way the omelette was just the same as all the others. Apart from this interlude I really enjoyed my stay and as we saw a road runner in the car park it made it a memorable stay.

« Fun in the sun! »

The location of Best Western Las Brisas is ideal. I booked for an Australian couple who was visiting California, they didn't have a car and they were happy that they could walked everywhere. The loved the Casino a couple of blocks away that has an excellent buffer for only $15. Las Brisas has a very good breakfast.....all included. However, if you need to eat bananas you must buy them outside because the hotel does not offer them. We stayed in rooms 305 and 309 third floor. We all slept well however our rooms faced the street and one night people were having a party until 2;00am. So if you are a poor sleeper ask to be place in a room facing the pool that close at 10:30pm. The manager one night asked us to try a new champagne. Everybody is very friendly, I had to rent a car and they helped me. I recommend this hotel.

« Excellent Place to Stay »

I can honestly say this is an excellent place to stay if you ever plan on staying in Palm Springs...The breakfast is delicious and the staff are friendly and helpful...The best of all is Ruben, the pool bartender, he is awesome...

    « Bad experience »

My family has been staying at this establishment for many years. This by far was the worst experience that we have encountered. Some of the other guests were so lewd with their near fornication within the pool in front of the other guests including my family, which includes my three small children, my wife and I.

    « Great Value »

Stayed at the Best Western Plus Las Brisas Hotel for two nights. Las Brisas offers reasonable rates and is a good value. The hotel is only a five minute walk to the main Palm Springs strip on Palm Canyon Drive with its diversity of restaurants, bars, coffee houses, clothing stores, art galleries, and the like. But you won't pay the premium hotel rates that exist on the Strip. My room at Las Brisas was on the third level providing the quiet I requested. The room itself was nicely appointed with two twin beds, air conditioning, flat screen television, refrigerator, coffee maker, and sink area connected to the tub and shower room. The room was exceptionally clean and well-appointed. The Las Brisas has a small pool and hot tub for guests to enjoy. There is a poolside bar and food service is available. Overall I had I pleasant experience at Las Brisas.

    « Pleasan accomodations »

Clean, good location, updated. Tight footprint overall so it was a little inconvenient to find everything and get to your room. But overall I would go back. Lu Lu's is just around the corner. A great place to eat for a reasonable price and good food.

    « You will enjoy! »

What a fab place this is. Pleasant welcome at front desk. Large, comfortable room with a glorious king bed. Fluffy towels & pool towels. Dispenser over the bath has shower gel, shampoo & conditioner. The hàir dryer was not one of those wall mounted things that just puff warm air at you. It was the real McCoy. At breakfast they will cook a fresh omelette for you. Also there are the usual cereals, muffins, toast, fresh water melon, apples & oranges. Juice, coffee & tea. What more could you want? Plenty of outside tables too for eating breakfast outside if you wish (we did & watched the humming birds) and by the pool where there are plenty sun loungers. Very good location too. Shops, restaurants etc start across the road & round the corner in South Palm Canyon Dr. Straight opposite the hotel is Fishermans Market & Grill which we found was spot on. Basic, no airs or pretences but good food. We ate there 3 times. Only downside to hotel is the staff seemed a little too eager to get you out of the pool area at night. Ok, pool closes at 10.30 but they ar round at 10.15 to let you know the pool will soon be closing. Fair enough I suppose, but you are on holiday.

« Good for short trips »

This was great for a quick getaway. Stayed here for one night and absolutely loved the beds. I slept so well in this room. The location is great and the hotel offers free parking and a decent breakfast. The reason I gave it a lower rating is we had issues with our toilet. It wouldn't flush and the maintenance had to come in 3 different times. Overall, not a bad option for a quick trip.

« Nice one night stay »

We have been to Palm Springs numerous times but have never stayed here. First off, the front desk staff were so nice and friendly. We had different people checking in and out and they were all nice and professional. Good start. We did not use the pool, but the area looked nice and clean as did the rest of the property. It is kept up very well. Lots of lovely foliage everywhere. Our third floor room was also nice and clean. Nothing super fancy or upscale, but we weren't looking for that. This suited us just fine. They give you a voucher at check in for the cooked to order breakfast, but we chose to go out. I marked points off because the tv reception was awful. No digital capabilities so everything was very snowy. Only NBC came in watchable. Also, the carpeting leading to the rooms could be replaced, or else have a good cleaning. It was scrungy. Our room carpet was ok. Oh, and bring your own shampoo if you do not want to use the shampoo, conditioner and shower gel dispenser in the shower. All in all, we would stay here again. The location is perfect. Very easy walk to Palm Canyon one block away.

Very nice place. Enjoyed the facility but did not appreciate all the "warning signs", " if you take this" or "this is what we will do if this is missing". Also the cleaning people did not speak English and they entered the room while we were inside without knocking.

    « Stuck in the 80s »

I chose this hotel because I was traveling with kids and my parents and wanted to try and find something that would make everyone happy. I read the reviews and booked it, but never staying here again. The hotel is somewhat clean but there are smokers on the balcony, the bathroom was very small and shower weak. The "buffet" breakfast reflects the tired decor of this 1980s hotel, shabby and unenthusiastic . Breakfast was self serve with 3 tired looking stations (bread, waffles that you make and coffee). Eggs were made by an unhappy employee who would decide when to show up and make them for perplexed guests standing and looking around. The pool was disgusting and we didn't use it. It was mostly occupied by drunk senior citizens who scowled at us when they saw children approaching . The plus side is its location ... However the Hyatt is centrally located and much nicer ( sigh) . You live and learn. We tried to stay away from the hotel as much as possible and left early (skipping the breakfast buffet).

    « Highly Recommended »

We have visited Palm Springs annually for the last 10 years, staying at the smaller 'boutique' hotels/inns but as we were bringing our son with us on this trip we had to look at alternative accommodations as our usual haunts were all child free zones. We chose the Best Western Plus Las Brisas because of its Trip Advisor rating, its location and the feedback/reviews. We were definitely not disappointed and will definitely return whether we are travelling alone or with the children. PROS - number 1 is the staff who couldn't have been more attentive and friendly. We arrived very early and our room wasn't ready but they suggested we utilise the pool and provided towels and keys to the pool bathroom. Throughout our week long stay, all the team were keen to make our stay a positive one, from the reception staff, the manager and bar staff to the cleaning staff and breakfast hosts. Our room was clean, quite basic but with all the necessities. The beds were very comfortable and bedding good quality. It was also nice to have a fridge in the room for our drinks. Breakfast is available 6am-10am and was nice to have omelettes made to order. It was super hot (122 degrees) during our stay and it was nice to have iced water available at the pool and ice machines/drinks machines on site. Air conditioning in room was great. Lunches at the pool bar were good. Another PRO would be the location - 2 minutes from South Palm Canyon Drive which meant we could walk safely out for dinner on an evening. Parking was plentiful. The pool is open until 10pm and we really enjoyed our evening swims. Plenty of places to sit out in the grounds on an evening under lit palm trees. I was concerned there were no in-room safes available, however, when we arrived we discovered that safety deposit boxes are available at reception free of charge - as reception is manned 24 hours it meant we could access our valuables whenever we needed. Wifi was free, fast and reliable. All in all, we couldn't fault a thing with this establishment and I do think that its down to the team who work there - they have created a friendly and relaxing environment that will be drawing us back in the future.

    « Great location »

The hotel is a bit dated but the rooms are clean and have all the facilities you need. Even a nice little pool area which was very welcome given it was over 100 degrees outside. Its just a short walk from the restaurants and bars.

« Fantastic hotel in a brilliant area »

Me and my husband came here as part of our honeymoon tour and it is a fantastic place to stay! The staff are very friendly and even gave us some free cocktails as part of our honeymoon! The room we booked contained a spa bath which was so big you could have a swim in it but when you turn the jets on it didn't exactly wow us but still enjoyed it all the same. Because the room contained the spa bath it was much bigger than most rooms in the hotel. The usual coffee machine (which thankfully was easy to use unlike other hotels!) is there and a fridge to keep everything cool. The breakfast was complimentary and contained the usual variety of continental food. The pool was open 7am until 10:30pm and we took full advantage of this! It was 43 C (106 F) so it was warm until closing. I would defiantly come here again as there is so much to do in Palm Springs and the hotel sits on the Main Street of all the shops and restaurants.

« Stay here. You won't regret it. Excellent location!!! »

One of the best hotels during our California road trip. Very pleasantly surprised. Our first visit to Palm Springs and this is worth every penny. We walked almost everywhere. To the cinema one night, to the street closed market, restaurants, etc.. Beautiful pool area and gardens. I took pictures to get ideas for at home. Room was OK and had a slight odour - but we were in it only to sleep. Excellent staff and the manager was around all the time. Would stay here again and would tell friends to stay here.

    « Fantastic »

Have stayed in Palm Springs many times before but this was our first stay at this hotel, and what a find. It is in a perfect location, you can easily walk to the Main Street with all the restaurants, bars and shops, so you can just park your car at the hotel and relax and enjoy yourself. Check in was quick and easy, Rick looked after us really well, gave us a great rate (rates vary on a daily basis, but the staff do their best to get you the best rate). We had a great room on the ground floor, comfortable bed, good air con, tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge. Breakfast is first class with lots of hot and cold options including made to order omelettes. There is a lovely pool area with a small bar which is open from 12 noon. There is also a bar next to reception where you can get a drink in the evenings. All the staff here are lovely, helpful and friendly. Best of all there is no rip off resort fee charges that they charge you in a lot of hotels In Palm Springs. We came to spend one night and ended up staying for four!! Make sure you get there early as they can get booked up really early, especially at weekends.

    « A desert oasis! »

The Las Brisas Hotel is like a mini-resort in Palm Springs with tons of amenities. It's not like any Best Western I've seen before. I enjoyed the outdoor pool and hot tub, with a poolside bar and food options. There are plenty of pool chairs and some shady areas if you need to escape the sun. Pool towels were provided in the room. This hotel features restaurants and bars, including poolside options with happy hour deals. The free breakfast was substantial with eggs made-to-order, fresh fruit and more. The location is key! I was able to leave my car at the hotel (free parking) and walk everywhere. The shops and restaurants on S. Palm Canyon Drive are only one block away, and the casino is only a few blocks down.

    « Very pleased!!!! »

Wonderful stay at the Las Brisas after being somewhat concerned over other reviews. Staff was very friendly, grounds were clean, breakfast was very good and our room was also very well kept. In the heart of downtown and some great restaurants are within easy walking distance. Pool was smaller scale but perfect for what I needed it to be. Poolside bar was great. Sure it's an older hotel, honestly that's what gives this place its charm. Fell in love with the greenery and flowering shrubs throughout he property. The only thing missing for me was a spa onsite thus the 4* rating. Would definitely recommend and will return here again!

« Great stay in Palm Springs »

Our 3rd stay at this hotel over the past few years andI cannot recommend this hotel enough. The location is right in downtown. So close to shops and restaurants. The staff at the hotel are excellent and couldn't do enough for us. Our room wasn't quite ready when we arrived but they gave us water and pool towels and then upgraded us to a suite for our wedding anniversary! The breakfast is ok and included in the price and the rooms need a little upgrade but spotless hotel and fantastic value for money.

    « Great Value-pleasant stay »

The rooms were clean, beds very comfy, great value for your money. Excellent location in downtown Palm Springs for those who like to be close to the action. The staff is very helpful and accomodating, breakfast is included (made to order omelettes!) and the bartenders are awesome. Rooms a little dark so if you can deal with that, everything else is fine.

« Nice Patio, Great Location »

This is our second stay at Las Brisas in Palm Springs. It's an older facility but has been updated and improved, so the rooms are comfortable. The big selling points of this property are a lovely patio and pool area with fountains and bougainvillea, and a location right downtown so that you may walk to restaurants, bars, and even the casino. Additional perks include a breakfast with an omelet bar with good coffee, and free parking.

    5

Thank you staff for always being so sweet and making us feel welcome.

We decided to stay here in Palm Springs because the hotel had everything we were looking for and then some! The staff were helpful and friendly, especially Reuben and the manager. The landscaping of the grounds and pool area was inviting and very well maintained. We are looking forward to going back after the remodel. Though we were extremely pleased with the hotel the way it is now.

« Great Hotel but starting to look a little tired ? »

We first stopped in this hotel in 2009 and have stayed there every time we have been to Palm Springs since. The location is excellent for restaurants and shops but in my opinion the rooms and external painting of the hotel could do with a refurbishment. It is still a excellent hotel but it seems to me that it has changed very little since our first visit and could do with a 'refresh'

Came here for a conference and needed to sleep well and have a decent breakfast and laundry service. « Mexican style »

This hotel has a nice Mexican feel to it with adobe style features to the buildings. The staff were very helpful throughout and service was excellent. The room was spacious but a bit dark with very little light getting in but I guess the idea is to keep the suns rays out and room cool, the beds were comfortable. The room has air conditioning and was tidy enough but the sink wasn't totally clean. There is a nice outdoor pool to laze around with ample shade from the sun. The breakfast was very good with a good selection to choose from, including fresh omelettes. There is plenty of parking and there are a range of shops, restaurants and bars all within walking distance, handy since you don't want to walk in the sun too long in Palm Springs. A good hotel to choose at a reasonable price.

« Great hotel close to town center »

The BW Las Brisas is a great place to stay in Palm Springs. It is one block from the Thursday Night Street Fair and shopping and eating establishments. The hotel has a palapa bar by the pool with a very cool bar tender. Nice place to unwind.

« Pretty Mediterranean sale hotel »

A very pretty little hotel with a very Mediterranean feel. Bougainville is hanging from the walls, and the rooms surround a small, but very pleasant pool and hot tub. We booked a 'Pool View' room at additional cost but discovered when we arrived that you can't actually see the pool from the window, because there is a twelve foot wide thoroughfare in the way of this particular room, and worse, there was a table and four chairs occupying the space, currently occupied by three loud guests enjoying the warm afternoon. Perhaps 'Poolside' would be a more accurate description in future advertising? Every word of their conversation could be heard from inside the room, and we were aware that they could see us from outside. Needless to say, we spoke to front desk and were moved to a quieter space the following day (when an alternative room was available). The room was a good size, clean, pleasant, with excellent beds, and all the amenities you would expect. Once removed from the chatter, it was very quiet and relaxing. The venue offers several areas where you can sit and chill - essential in the heat (it was 100 degrees when we arrived), not just around the pool, but in smaller areas around the venue, surrounded by well cared-for vegetation. Disappointingly, smoking is permitted outside the non-smoking rooms, sometimes adding an unwelcome odour to the otherwise warm, clean air. Breakfast (included) was good, offering a wide range including made-to-order omelettes, porridge, fresh fruit etc. All staff were delightful, and we would like to especially thank Jacob, on front desk, for his excellent, and rapid response, when we asked for a room change. Minor criticisms aside, when we return to Palm Springs, we will certainly return to this delightful venue.

« Overnight at Las Brisas Hotel in Palm Springs »

My wife and I stay at the Las Brisas Hotel as an overnight stop while we are traveling to see our daughter in the Bay Area. The hotel is always clean, reasonably quiet and located in the downtown area close to a wide variety of good restaurants, all within a few block radius. There is adequate parking. The beds have all been very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning is excellent.

« Fun in Palm Springs »

Lovely hotel in a great location. All employees were great & very friendly. The literature indicated that we were supposed to have a microwave but we didn't. (We didn't need one so we didn't call about it.) There was some lint on the bathroom floor when we arrived & it was still there when we checked out so it appears that sweeping the bathroom floor is not done every day.

    « Beautiful Hotel, Inattentive Reception/Maid Staff »

This hotel, grounds and location in Downtown Palm Springs is beautiful and truly minutes from the airport. The rooms are clean, the beds are excellent, lots of pillows and comfortable. Lots of towels and supplies replenished each day. The rooms are also quiet, hearing only occasional noise from outside and of course the water pipes. My concern was the unprofessional manner of the reception desk personnel. No one was at the reception desk when I arrived. While waiting to check in the staff was openly discussing the shortcomings of management and training methods. Maintenance personnel could be heard yelling at each other over what appeared to be a walkie talkie. Several of the desk personnel were not in uniform and there were no name tags visible. During my stay repeated requests to the reception desk failed to get the broken clock radio in my room replaced after my 3 night stay. The maid staff apparently also did not notice the clock was broken. Overall the hotel is beautiful, quiet and I felt safe on the property. A simple breakfast is served each morning, there is room service available till 9:00 pm, again simple items. My experience checking in and with the lack of attention to a repeated simple request left me uncertain if I would chose this for my next visit to Palm Springs. That is the reason for my rating of AVERAGE

« Our Go to Place in Palm Springs »

Unique and affordable hotel in the heart of Palm Springs, everything downtown is within walking distance. Older property but well maintained with friendly and helpful staff. Mediterranean villa theme. Complimentary breakfast is basic but upgraded by made to order omelet option, self serve waffle maker. During the week at least when we were there the hotel was not crowded, busy starting Friday pm and Saturday and then clears out on Sunday. Pool side gazebo bar, limited food service. The pool is only medium size, small hot tub. Close to airport, short drive or taxi option $ 13.00 or so. A bit about the area, the Circle K is close but in my opinion little to offer, sketchy neighbor hood, very small, seems mostly for alcohol and lottery tickets with very limited food and convenience store items, the Rite Aide Pharmacy is a much better choice. Downtown Palm Springs is not downtown as the term applies to most cities. Mostly restaurants at all price points, bars, specialty shops, the desert theme is reflected in the establishments. We have always felt safe in the downtown area, police presence but not overwhelming, just reassuring. A few panhandlers like anywhere but even most of them seem polite. We will be back to Las Brisas and Palm Springs for sure.

    « Enjoyable experience »

We spent one night here with another couple as we wanted to go to the village street fair on Thursday evening. The hotel is extremely clean. Nice room with comfortable beds. Enjoyed the pool and bar. The personnel were extremely friendly and very helpful. In the morning they have a nice hot breakfast including omlets and Belgium waffles. Since we have been to Palm Springs several times, we really appreciated the free hot breakfast as most other hotels do not off this. We were told that they will be updating the hotel, but I must say it is quite a nice hotel right now. Will definitely stay there again. The location is perfect too.

« Great place to stay »

Great place to stay with good sized, clean and comfortable rooms. Very well placed for all the shops, bars and restaurants, and there are many, in Palm Springs. Staff are super helpful and friendly and the pool area is a great place to chill out with a beer or cocktail at the poolside bar. Breakfast is very good and nice to sit in the pool area or gardens in the morning sun.

The hotel is more like a motel. The rooms are clean. The pool is well cared for. The location is great for Palm Springs. No frills but solid. Waffles and omelette a free for breakfast. No fitness center.

« A great place to stay and relax »

This hotel is ideally located just a short walk from many restaurants and shops in Palm Springs. Their breakfast is way above the standard breakfasts at hotels with cooked to order omelets and mini belgian waffles . Great Pool area with bar next to it and many lounge chairs and tables. Have been staying here for many years and it is just as good now as it has been in the past.

« Great place and excellent location! »

I'd been to Palm Springs several times, but this was the first time I stayed at the Las Brisas, the hotel I stayed at prior is no longer there. My girlfriend had done a search online and found this great Best Western! The staff on our arrival was very friendly and check-in was smooth and quick. The room itself (206C), in my opinion was large, clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We immediately checked out the pool and cabana area, which was awesome. In fact, we had plans to go out and about the next day, but chose to stay at the hotel and relax by the pool all day (a very wise choice!). The drinks were a little pricey, but good - I always expect that on vacation. We also had our own drinks that we brought down to the pool. Both Ruben and Sal were fantastic, friendly and accommodating. The staff was also eager to tell us about the renovations that will be happening, but I'm not sure they can improve on an already excellent facility. The location can't be beat, walking distance to the downtown shopping, clubs and restaurants only a few minutes away. In fact, my girlfriend is a hiking enthusiast and found the Tahquitz Canyon hike was also within walking distance!! I would stay here again in a heartbeat especially if they're going to renovate. I also hate to ruin a really good review with something negative, but we did have one problem?I think it is more of a retraining issue than anything else. Our first morning there we had the ?do not disturb? sign on the outside. We had both just woken up, when the door started to open. Apparently a guest had a tray full of coffees and had asked one of the cleaning staff if she could open the door as she had forgotten her key. She obviously had also forgotten her room number as well and the cleaner opened the door. I would think that if that were to happen, then the guest would have to go to the lobby and show proof of ID before letting someone into a room. I understand it was an innocent mistake and is not the norm, but it scared my girlfriend a bit. With that said, I would highly recommend the Las Brisas for price, location and especially the friendly staff!

    « Perfect location »

Hubby and I have never been to Palm Springs so we chanced it with this Best Western on location, as well as good overall experiences with BW. We weren't disappointed! Right in the heart of downtown, but one street over so we didn't have any downtown noise. We walked the block over to the main drag with all the shops and restaurants. Hotel was clean and roomy, comfy king bed and good pillows (amazing how pillows can make all the difference). We were in the back area - C207, so 2nd floor. All was good except the 4 large dumpsters in the parking lot next to the property. We would hear bottles being dumped in, and then Tuesday morning trash pick-up day. Thankfully we had just woken-up at 7:30, otherwise would have been a rude awakening. Good free breakfast each day, and this was the first BW I'd been in with an omelet station. Usually a line, but it moves surprisingly quick even with only 1 omelet cook. Waffles, fruit, cereal, muffins, toast, yogurt made up the rest of the offerings. Pool area is very nice with a bar inside, but we brought our drinks from our room down there. Tables, lounges, chairs and hot tubs. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat. The only reason it didn't get all 5 stars was the dumpster noise which wasn't even their property. Also, added nicety was at check-in. Very friendly staff and said she didn't notice any BW points added so asked if I was a rewards member. Yes, but I didn't book directly through BW. She said it didn't matter - she would apply 500 points on my card anyway!

    « a wonderful hotel stay »

The hotel is very nice. It is with in walking distance to all the stores on main street. They have a very nice breakfast with hot food ready made for you. A lot of the staff have been working there for a long time and you see familiar faces when you come back. It is a very nice place to stay when away from home!!

We had a great stay in this cosy hotel. We had a "feeling home" and enjoyed very much the great pool, the great breakfast and friendly staff ! We will for sure stay in this hotel the next time. Thanks a lot !

« Good location middle of Downtown »

Stayed there with my aunt last weekend. Very cozy older motel, near all the South Downtown shopping. Downsides were our rooms, which faced the street were a bit loud. Also, the poolside snack bar was not open. However, it had a good breakfast and easy parking.

    « Desert Getaway-Stagecoach »

I found everything in order - I would have liked it if they had a microwave in the room. Otherwise the facilities worked out great for my needs. My only complaint is that these places get away with doubling their normal rates during the music festivals held over the three weekends at the end of April.

« Clean, good pool and centrally located to town »

The Las Brisas Best Western is clean, calm and centrally located to town where you can walk to Alicante's Sport's Bar, and several restaurants, museums, and shops. We go there because the service is great and the location and the clean pool.

    « Dark and Depressing »

We decided to come to Palm Springs for the weekend as a last minute getaway after a bad week and booked a room at the Las Brisas Hotel. The hotel location is great, Front Desk staff very friendly, the pool area is pretty and there is plenty of free and convenient parking. Since we booked through Hotels.com, we were able to apply a discount for booking 10 nights, so the price was reasonable. Had I paid full price I would have been very mad. The property is old looking, compared to the modern, boutique hotels that are nearby. We were given a handicapped room without being told by the Front Desk clerk because the hotel was full and we booked a discounted room. The furniture was old and ugly. The electrical outlets were loose so one of the bedside lamps kept blinking on and off; it was so annoying we couldn't use it. The bathroom shower was great for a handicapped person (full roll-in) but inconvenient for an able person with a huge shower chair in the way. Very little counter space in the bathroom to put anything. The "free" WiFi did not work at all. There were several flies in the room. The front door was warped and we had to slam it to shut it. The pool bartender poured my husband 3 free shots; we ordered 2 drinks (a mai tai and margarita) and they were awful and expensive. From someone who has worked in the Hospitality field for over 35 years, I have never seen a sign posted at the Front Desk that no adjustments will be made. That is just terrible customer service to have such a thing greet you as the first impression of the hotel. I will never stay there again and DO NOT recommend it to anyone!

« Convenient and Close to Dining »

Stayed here for 4 nights, found a comfortable king bed and decent shower. Had room 108 first floor B building, which opened right to the pool, hot tub and outside bar area. This was a non smoking room. The property offers free parking and free breakfast, including made to order egg omelets. I was one block away from Palm canyon Drive, so it was a cinch to walk over and shop, people watch and dine at one of the areas restaurants. There was also a casino within a few blocks for those looking for a bit of gambling entertainment. My only minor complaint with the room was that the small fridge hidden in the cabinet needed both cabinet doors opened to get to the fridge's contents. The carpeting will probably get upgraded soon too, as it was showing some age. Otherwise an uneventful stay, which is a good thing when I'm away from home.

    « Great stopover »

On the way to the Arizona desert, this is a great stop. Very clean, terrific beds, and a great location . One street off Palm Canyon, it s an easy walk to dinner with many choices. The water in the room is expensive, but if you go back to the hotel bar, it is half of that . Good choice of lodging .

« Be careful with your belongings... »

I stayed at this hotel for Coachella, so as expected, the price was ridiculously inflated in comparison to what a stay in this hotel should be worth. And that was before factoring in the problems I experienced. To their credit, the front desk staff was always friendly and incredibly helpful. However, the housekeeping staff was incredibly unprofessional and untrustworthy. I left an unopened pack of gum on my desk and came back after the maid had come to find it opened, with a piece removed. To make matters worse, the maid had also apparently gone into my toiletry bag, take a cotton swab, used it, and left the disgusting evidence on my desk next to the pack of gum she opened. I refused maid service for the remainder of my stay, and kept anything valuable I had locked in my rental car, because my belongings felt safer there. It's beyond unsettling to have to wonder who's going through your things when you leave your hotel room. And another downside of this hotel is that there is no in-room safe, so everything you bring in with you is vulnerable. Some other issues I had were the wifi password no longer working after a couple days, and the fact that you had to ask for soap at the front desk if you needed it. Are there really that many people in the world that don't wash their hands when they use the bathroom that soap can be considered an optional thing that doesn't come standard in a hotel room?! Also, electrical outlets were not easily accessible, lighting was inadequate, and water pressure in the shower was poor. The hotel breakfast was very chaotic, too, with a line for omelettes that wrapped around the entire room, blocking anyone who wanted anything other than an omelette from getting to it. Needless to say, I wouldn't stay in this hotel again, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

    « Quick Birthday Trip. »

Upon our midnight arrival I was greeted promptly at the desk by a nice gentlemen. Even though they were booked up I was given a nice room on the courtyard. Everything you would expect from a Best Western. Clean, Comfortable and affordable. I've stayed at a few Best Western PLUS and this is in the lower bracket of quality. Closer to a regular Best Western. My only issue with the room was how small it was and also that the window didn't open. It got really REALLY stuffy in our room after showering. The pool area is quaint. The bar is really mellow. Great location although you seem to be in a bit of a rough neighborhood when exiting the back of the hotel. Our Uber driver commented that you shouldn't walk around too late. Especially around the casino. Lots of transients and foot traffic. The staff at the hotel were really sweet and professional. Not your typical Palm Springs Inn design or layout but definitely a nice stay.

    « Quick Getaway »

Stayed at the Best Western for 2 nights and it was a great stay. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were clean. The grounds are well maintained and has a nice small pool area with fountains, trees, a grill, and a bar. Can't beat that. Also includes a complimentary breakfast that has bomb omelettes and Belgium waffles!! Friendly staff as well. Will definitely be back.

    « Wonderful Ambiance »

The setting is old Spanish, lots of greenery, and intimate as well as very walkable to downtown Palm Springs. We decided to stay a second night immediately upon checking in for our first night. Breakfast was well attended by service people with great food choices. The egg omelets on demand were a great touch.

    « Lovely »

We stayed here for 1 night on our way back to Canada. What a wonderful hotel. It felt like an all-inclusive in Mexico. The room was delightful as was the pool area. The staff was great. We would have liked to have stayed longer. Location is downtown and close to everything. We would definitely stay there again in a heartbeat. Even with the Can dollar exchange it was still quite reasonable.

    « Excellent Value & Location »

Enjoyed a restful getaway from LA (before the Coachella Festival crowds descended on the PS area). Exceptional value on the room rate (includes full breakfast - and make your own waffles!). Couldn't ask for a better location - I walked (or rode my bike) to everywhere I needed to go on this trip. Nice, traditional rooms, kept up by conscientious housekeeping staff. Free parking. Mellow poolside vibe. Friendly front desk staff. I left a sweater in the room after checking out, and they got it back to me right away (I paid for the Priority Mail). My thanks go to housekeeping and the front desk folks. Smokers seem to have their own patio separate from the poolside patio on the ground level, but my 3rd floor room was only 2 doors down from a small (2 table) patio that was used by neighboring guests who couldn't smoke in their rooms. Not that big of a deal. Would definitely be my 1st choice on my next visit. (My rating is based on how well this hotel met my expectations vis a vis the price level they compete in.)

« Look No Further in Palm Springs »

This hotel is the end of the search for a great hotel, with a great location, a great staff and a gorgeous setting. Park the car and walk one block to Palm Canyon Drive...what can be easier?? The hotel is wonderful and worth every penny spent. Also it is walking distance from many great stores and restaurants. The Las Brisas hotel is just one block walking distance from downtown Palm Springs' restaurants and shops. The hotel prices are reasonable with free wifi, breakfast, and parking. « Anniversary Weekend Get Away »

The hotel was very clean and friendly staff. The only problem we had was that while we had a reservation for 3 nights, our room was given away to someone else when we arrived at 2AM. The hotel found us another room at the Hilton hotel down the street for the first night. This was an interruption in our vacation time, because we had to move back to Best Western later that morning.

Had a great check in, friendly staff. Unfortunately, we stayed in a room on the ground, it was for handicap (which wasn't a problem), but outside the door was the visiting grounds for everyone. Stayed one night with my daughter and granddaughter as a little get away and this is the only hotel we stay at in Palm Springs. « Another Great Visit »

Took a friend from the UK visiting to Palm Springs for the first time in March. It was more expensive because it was high season, but still the best value for its great location and rooms. We had two queen beds that were so comfortable, with pillows you want to sneak out for your own bed!. It was in the block overlooking the pool area, and was quiet. The pool was small but great, not packed, and the cabana bar was excellent. Kale the bar tender made a fantastic cocktail (or 2). As a Best Western plus, this has been my fall back-go to place to stay in Palm Springs for several years, and after speaking to several people around the pool, it apparently is theres as well. We actually met a couple who were there for a planned month from Canada!

« Charming Hotel Great Location »

My husband and I spent 5 nights at this charming hotel. The room was clean and comfortable the breakfast was good but no variety each day. There are pockets of loveliness here with fountains, flowers, and patios. The pool area was beautiful with a patio and bar that took food and drink orders. We really loved that within a block walking distance we had most delicious meals at the Seafood Market across the street, at Oscars down the block and watched a free outdoor concert. The exception to the friendly, kind and accommodating staff was the one female manager who when I was upset about an email that described double rate than what we had agreed to online-rather than be reassuring-she had a very condescending manner which only upset me further. Guests should know that there is an incidental "fee" to cover any unpaid expenses or damages which is charged only if there are incidentals. This manager didn't explain this clearly and I got really worked up thinking they were charging us $800 over the $800 guaranteed price we booked online. I also found that there was not enough dresser space (5 small drawers in total and a closet that was half blocked by the vanity) in the room for both my husband and I so I had to live out of my suitcase which I don't like. The room fridge was very small and there was no microwave. The pool area was very charming with tables, deck chairs and flowers but again it was too small and congested overall considering the size of the hotel so when some guests got really hammered one afternoon (which I really don't have a problem with ) and became loud and raucous- there was no way to distance myself from them, and besides, there's lots of children here. So for these reasons I'm giving this hotel *** out of *****.

    « Great for a weekend getaway »

Las Brisas is a great place in a great location. The staff here is incredibly nice. The accommodations are exactly what you need for a great weekend getaway to relax, have a drink or two by the pool, swim and access to downtown for an evening walk and dinner.

    « Great place »

Love this place looking forward to next year. Why 200 characters I am not a writer you should change the 200 characters rule, Im just typing to use up time and character space. Like the hotel I don't like this portion of the survey.

« Good for the money »

The hotel is comfortable and clean. Maybe a bit dated. Close to tourist area. Hotel staff was friendly and efficient. My only complaint was the breakfast. I am not a hot breakfast fan which they seem to do best. I am usually happy with some yogurt and a bagel or muffin. The bagels were mini bagels not worth bothering with, I did not see any juice or yogurt. Cereal was available. So I had to be satisfied with an English muffin and coffee. Walls are thin be aware that even a moderate conversation can be possibly heard in the adjoining room.

    « Great downtown hotel »

This is our fourth trip to las Brisas. We found this hotel by accident a number of trips ago. Superb location one block off the downtown area. Everything is within walking distance. I run and there are nice 5-10 km runs from this hotel. Great staff and nice small pool with bar and appetizers poolside. This is our goto winter get away.

    « A touch of class »

The hotel is very nice, they have a pool and pool bar, plenty of parking space, and an excellent location. They are only 2 blocks away from the main street with several restaurants and shopping districts. Our room was somewhat small but comfortable. The closet sliding doors are right next to the sink and it was difficult to open both sides. The highlight of our two night stay was breakfast. They served omelets and miniature, delicious waffles with hot syrup. I will say, the room price was a little high but it was after all, in Palm Springs.

« Not for you if you like fresh air!! »

This is a perfectly fine BW, and the location to central downtown Palm Sorings can't be beat. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, etc. The only issue is ventilation in rooms. Can't open windows, and housekeeping goes a little overboard with sweet air freshener. Staff was nice enough to change our room, but they were pretty much the same. We weren't the only ones keeping their doors open when they could!! But other than that Las Brisas is great place to stay. Easy to get to, nice breakfast, nice pool. Enjoy your stay!

« Great hotel in Palm Springs downtown »

Great hotel for location in Palm Springs, great breakfast, nice room, pretty patio area. Very satisfied. Bathroom area a bit small. No view from our room. Service great. Stayed there to attend Indian Wells Tennis Tournament and worked well for us. Good value.

« Comfort in the desert »

This hotel is conveniently located to downtown Palm Springs and assorted dining options, quiet and clean rooms, excellent poolside relaxation, with a great staff. The value is there compared to other choices in the area

« Good hotel in the heart of old Palm Springs »

Clean comfortable beds, good staff are a pleasant find so close to downtown. Flowers and patios are interspaced among the 3 separate buildings. The area is quiet for its location also. The expanded Continental breakfast they offer I found to be very adequate to start the day.

    « On your own »

We booked this venue based on it's proximity to downtown and the Airport but the front desk did not have the information from our reservation, pool food service took 40 minutes and our wake up call never happened

    « Perfect Oasis »

This was our first stay - 3 nights - at the Las Brisas. This beautiful oasis is centrally located downtown so you can easily walk to restaurants, etc. Our room was neat, clean, and quiet with good bedding and linens. The free breakfast included a made-to-order omelet bar. The pool is small but the area has plenty of bright pink chassis lounges, a full bar, and lots of shaded tables. Flowers and fountains make it all the more delightful. We completely recommend and will be returning to the Las Brisas.

« Nice location, has atmosphere but.... »

It has one of the best locations; 2 streets of downtown, It has a very nice atmosphere with a lot of flora and a nice swimming pool. The rooms look nice. We have 3 times in this hotel and this time was the least. why? Least clean! Our white socks were black after walking around in our rooms for an our. Not really nice. And I still think, if you stay for more then 3 days, the breakfast becomes boring. Boring is also the breakfast room. Beside that, several times there wasn't frsh fruit or muffins. earlier yeasr it was more top notch.

Awesome hotel. Great staff and a beautiful property, Everything from shopping to restaurants and bars are within walking distance. Since we were on motorcycles, this is the perfect place for us to stay. The fact there is a bar / restaurant on property made this an even more perfect place to stay.

    « Very Nice Hotel »

We loved the hotel. Very convenient location within walking distance of the Palm Springs Thursday night village fest. A must do! The complimentary breakfast was delicious. Waffle makers, a chef to make omelets, fruit, cereal, pastries. A very good breakfast to start the day. Beautiful pool area and beautiful views of the mountains. Very neat and clean.

    « good location »

Older hotel, room felt dark, upon arrival one bed cover had a stain but was replaced when told the front counter. outside of the building needs a good washing. Best location in Palm Spring, ideal for shopping and food choices.

« Quite, comfort, relaxing atmosphere »

We enjoy all the amenities, very comfortable bed. Good service. Price was fair for the big car show weekend rates. Quiet all night, no noisy neighbors. Love the bar, pool, pool bar. Food was great. Location is within walking distance of downtown and our favorite bar and restaurant across the street Shanghai Red.

    « Location;Location;Location »

This hotel is literally in the middle of Palm Springs downtown. You can walk to every store, the art museum, and fifty restaurants. It is very clean, and the rooms are modern. The free breakfast is excellent with a cook to make omelets. Parking can be an issue. They literally have one space per room, so if someone takes two, you get to improvise. The grounds are well landscaped and the pool area is beautiful. The only negative is the sound proofing in the rooms. We were on the second floor, and our upstairs neighbor stayed up late and got up early. Not a good combination. Request a third floor room. We will stay there again.

    « Wonderful for a Family Getaway »

I was very pleased with my 5-night stay at this hotel. The location is extremely convenient; there are a lot of dining options within short (2-5 block) walking distance. The breakfast included in the room rate is highly satisfactory. There are a variety of food and beverage options to choose from, including an omelette bar. Free wi-fi is a plus as well. The hotel has a small bar at which you can get beverages to take up to your room; a nice touch. The landscaping is very pleasant and the location really can't be beat. I would recommend this hotel.

« Pleasant Stay in Palm Springs »

This was our 1st visit to Palm Springs & we were only there one night. We were satisfied with our stay at this Best Western. The room was a little small and dark, but everything within control of the staff went well. Very nice breakfast - the venue and the food, we appreciated the made to order omelet. The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. No problems with our very short stay.

« Great Location and Pleasant Stay »

We stayed here for two nights in February. The location was perfect, it was one block from Palm Canyon Drive where all the action takes place. It was fun to shop, dine and explore along Palm Canyon Drive and then walk back to the hotel on Indian Canyon Drive and it was a lot quieter and we were able to get a great night sleep before getting up and playing again. There was also a number of restaurants closeby as well. The overall exterior of the hotel had a Mediterranean feel to it in a great location. This hotel had a wonderful pool area with lots of lounge chairs and tables and chairs and had a bar/cafe area that people hung out at or had their breakfast in this area which they got from the breakfast room. The pool area calm down around dinner time when everyone went out for dinner and night life. The pool area was surrounded by lush greenery so there was plenty of shady spots if the sun got to hot. The overall feel was of a lush tropical area - quite nice. Maintenance frequently cleaned, tidied and checked the pool area. Our room was clean and quite large with all the amenities e.g. hair dryer, flat screen tv, iron, ironing board, mini refrigerator, free wifi, etc. The cleaning staff was very efficient and kept every thing nice and tidy. Bed was very comfortable and room was quiet. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise and had the usual variety of cereal, oatmeal, fresh fruit, juices, muffins, breads, etc but they also had omelets or eggs that were made to order - delicious! We would stay here again and I'm thinking of planning a Ladies Trip here since the location is so perfect and the hotel was quite pleasant to stay out with a reasonable price.

    « Great Hotel »

Excellent location - easy walking distance from the shops and restaurants in the heart of Palm Springs. Hotel was quiet and clean and the beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was small but clean and functional. The hot/cold water was reversed in the shower, but otherwise no problems. Very good breakfast (included) with omelettes/waffles/etc. Beautiful pool area with lots of comfortable lounge chairs. Would definitely stay here again!

    « Perfect location »

Lovely grounds and extra services at this aging Best Western right in the middle of downtown Palm Springs. Walking distance to everything and yet not noisy in the least. Yes, the décor is tired, but then, isn't all of Palm Springs? An excellent choice to get in the spirit of the city!

« Ideally located -- A few blocks from Old Town »

We've grown to appreciate the Best Western Plus hotels - both in this country and in Europe. They are moderately priced, have good quality rooms and the breakfasts are complete. This one in Palm Springs was no exception. We paid with taxes approximately $150/night. The room, while snug had 2 queen size beds and was newly decorated. It includes a refrigerator and coffee maker. A full breakfast is offered with a made-to-order omelette station. There are choices of hot and cold cereals, fruits, juices, waffles, breads, danish, etc. Lovely pool area where drinks are available in the evening. Very hospitable staff.

    5
    « Excellent Oasis »

This BW is located within a few blocks of old town Palm Springs main street. The check in was easy and efficient. Our room was spacious and clean. The bed was on the firmer side, but very comfortable. The pool area was well laid out. Our breakfast was surprising as a fresh individual omelette was made as per our ingredient requests. Our Wi-Fi worked very well. All in all, I could see spending some time here when we come back. I would highly recommend this property.

    « Nice, but... »

Nice hotel; great location; friendly, helpful staff. Excellent free breakfast ; nice pool area. Rooms are adequate but the bathroom area is extremely small. Room was clean but the carpet floor was very dirty (the bottom of my feet were black from walking on the carpet). Bed mattress is hard. My wife and I are allergic to feather / down pillows and the hotel did not have any foam pillows to substitute.

    « Personal review »

Excellent in every way, quiet, comfortable bed, cleanliness of room, immaculate grounds, extremely friendly and helpful staff. The location was close to everything as we did not have a car.I would not hesitate to recommend the Best Western Plus Las Brisas Hotel, Palm Springs to family and friends.

« Great location, good amenities »

A good hotel with a great location, very close to the main street and within walking distance to a large variety of restaurants and activities. Parking is free and the included breakfast is quite good. The room had a small refrigerator and a small bathroom and a comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful and gave us lots of information upon check in. The facility is pleasant and well maintained.

« Nice Employees, LOUD rooms »

I really wanted to like this hotel. I booked it based on the high ratings on Trip Advisor. My husband and I visited Palm Springs over Presidents Day Weekend and it was the first time away from our daughter. Since it was a holiday weekend, room prices were inflated everywhere. After taxes, we paid $250/night. In retrospect, I would have rather paid more to stay elsewhere as the rooms had zero insulation and were outdoor-facing. They were SO LOUD! Our first night we had a room right by the pool gate. The constant clanging and pool noise caused us change rooms for the second night. The pool is open until 1030 pm and is also used for breakfast overflow. All we wanted was a quiet weekend without a toddler. The second night they moved us to the second floor, also facing towards to pool, but not in the main noisy section. However, it was still very loud. There were kids playing tag on the third floor until 11 pm (until we asked them to stop), loud music, and the ability to hear every word from the neighboring room's conversation. You could even hear the sink turn on next door. The employees were very nice. The hotel and its courtyards were pretty. The location is very central and convenient. But, I really can't overstate how loud these rooms are and I sleep with earplugs. The rooms are nothing special - just the standard 3-star type room. Knowing this, it'd be ok at $80/night, but definitely not $250. And, also not for anything romantic or peace-seeking.

« GREAT location to the beach »

We really liked this hotel. It seemed like it used to be a boutique hotel and Best Western must have bought it out. It had a unique layout, was very clean in appearance, the beds were comfortable, the wifi was good, the ensuite hot tub was AMAZING and it was just across the street from a great beach. The beach was pretty private so we really enjoyed the setting for our honeymoon. The free breakfast was not as good as I was hoping- the eggs tasted fake, everything seemed processed, and even the waffles from the waffle-maker didn't taste very good. The staff were all extremely friendly.

    5
« Value Comfort and Convenience »

You can beat the perfect location within walking distance to DT Palm Springs and amenities. Clean, comfortable beds, fabulous staff and service, make this hotel our Go-To place year after year! The breakfast is excellent and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful as well.

« The Old Un in Palm Springs »

A Traditional Spanish style Hotel in the Centre of the Downtown Restaurant and shopping area of Palm Springs. The grounds are planted with mature Palm Trees and the Building decorated with large Bougainvilleas. It is an old style, Hotel with extensive outside public areas, equipped with plenty of seats and loungers. In common with older properties in hot climates, the rooms have small windows and consequently are quite dark, but are clean and comfortable.

« Great Location, Friendly Staff, Nice Hotel »

Stayed at the Best Western Las Brisas on business. The hotel is easy to find; there is parking close to the front lobby. Upon our arrival, the front desk was a little busy, but check-in was easy. There is a Hacienda-style bar adjacent to lobby. The property has some very nice sitting areas, decoratively lit with fountains, an outside bar near the pool, and food service. Many of the rooms have a covered outside access; our room had a shared patio with a table and chairs just outside our front door. The room was large, with a comfortable king-sized bed and an assortment of pillows. The room had a refrigerator, but no microwave oven. There was a long continuous credenza with drawers that continued over to the desk, which gave us lots of counter space. On top of the credenza was a flatscreen TV and I was able to plug in my Firestick so we could watch some of our favorite programs. Near the window and air conditioning unit, upholstered chairs with a nice finished wood table with a glass top made a nice reading area. The nightstands had standard lamps, AC outlets were close to the nightstand for charging devices. The hotel offers free wireless internet; internet speed was a solid 11MB down and up. The bathroom was well lit, with a tub shower and plenty of towels. With a little down time before our dinner reservation, I had a chance to visit the Hacienda bar. The bartender was friendly and attentive, and they had a good selection of beer, wine, and spirits. I was also able to buy a couple of bottles of water for our room. The Best Western Las Brisas is only a block away from many popular Palm Springs bars, restaurants, and shops on S Palm Canyon Dr. Great location, friendly staff, and a nice hotel; we look forward to our next stay there.

    « awesome hospitality »

The people at the desk were very helpful and accomodating. When we left, our son forgot his cell phone and another item on the room. We were on the way to Phoenix when we stopped at the hotel so called the desk and asked them to please retrieve the items and save them for us and we would return on our way back from Phoenix. They were so kind to do that for us so when we went to the front desk Jacob had everything waiting for us . He gave us the items and said "You folks have a safe trip". We thank him and left happy and glad to have stayed at Las Brisas. Pastor Tony

« Good Best Western Plus »

Attractive BW and nice location centrally located. Staff was responsive and helpful, no problems with services or cleanliness, good breakfast. There is some noticeable (but not unbearable) noise in the evenings from a nightclub nearby,

    « Always a great stay »

We have been at this BW several times and it does not disappoint. Our room was a very nice size for a 10 day stay. Staff were great. Very attentive and always very courteous. Breakfast was great making the room a good value.

« Nice stay in downtown »

We arrived early & after a few questions from desk staff they offered to upgrade us from regular pool view to whirlpool king suite. We were in our room by 1 & sitting by the pool with drinks in hand. Kale at gazebo bar was great as was Tanika(?) at breakfast omelet bar. While a little older property rooms were clean, grounds pretty & great view of the mountains. Also, easy to walk to shopping & restaurants. Bed was so comfy I wanted to take it home.

    « Convenient Location, But . . . »

The Las Brisis is centrally located in Palm Springs, which makes it very convenient for travelers. However, the hotel has seen better days. Much of the hotel is in need of a remodel. My room had a funny smell and the mattress was not comfortable. Service at the front desk was good. They do offer a free breakfast, but I did not take advantage of it.

    « 2 days stay »

nice place would stay again there was some maintenance issues but not to big quiet and clean don't know what more to say the pool was nice and the afternoon had a outside bar and food we didn't take part in that but the people were nice to us check in went well and check out to was fine security was fine there as there was a gate in back only one way in and 2 ways out. crc

« best location for downtown shopping »

This place is only a block from the main shopping district and within easy walking distance to eating establishments. It is not a new facility but is clean and quiet. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast included an omelet bar plus all the "normal" offerings. The room did not include a microwave, however the room (king suite) was spacious and comfortable.

    3
« Ground floor rooms near pool may be noisy »

We stayed at this property once before and had a very good experience. but we were on the 2nd floor and facing away from pool. This stay we had a lot of pool noise and on two of three nights, obnoxious and suspicious people banging on our door in the middle of the night. The hot tub is a nice temperature and the poolside bar service is appreciated. A relaxing place if you don't have random noises and interruptions. Being upstairs probably helps.

« Gem in the Desert »

This is a great property with walking distance to downtown Palm Springs. beautiful views of the mountains with several great outdoor sitting area. Breakfast is great with "made to order omelets". Staff is very friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions. Will definitely stay here again when in Palm Springs.

« Nice Hotel, Great Location »

This hotel was great for a nice getaway! It was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the location was in walking distance of the strip. I would highly recommend this hotel. This can be a good stay for couples, families, business or solo. The breakfast had a broader selection than others I have stayed it. The omelets are made to order. Enjoy your stay here!

    2
    « VERY NOISY!!! »

We had stayed here before and was happy with the location and the pool area was relaxing and lush. During our most recent stay we were unable to sleep through the night due to noise that also continued through the day. AND the walls are paper thin. Could hear everything in adjoining rooms. So much for a relaxing time to read my book.! You cannot open the windows and when we tried to open the door for fresh air it was just way too noisy. If it were not the early morning noises from trucks emptying the dumpster, it was the construction across the street that started at 7:00 am and continued until 6:00 pm. (We were not sure if someone was rifling through the dumpster during the night, but kept hearing noises like breaking glass) Then on our third day management marked off most of the hotel parking spaces. When we asked what was going on they were planning to trim trees on the property. This continued for two days. The large trucks, tree chipper and chain saw! We did not want to use the pool area due to noise! The tree chipper and chain saw! We had planned to stay for several days, but checked out early and moved to another local hotel. Very inconvenient to have to move, but it WAS QUIET!!!! Also worth mentioning that the breakfast is the exact same every single day!!! The same fruit, the same yogurt flavor, same bread for toast, same muffins, etc. Boring!!!

    « over rated »

My wife and I generally enjoy the Best Western Plus Hotels but this location did not meet our expectations. With so many choices in the vicinity of Palm Springs we based our decision on other reviews . All I can say is that other hotels in this price range must be very poor because this hotel did not live up to the reviews that other people wrote about this hotel . To say that it was average is being generous .

    3
« Great location, the rest is average. »

Stayed here once before and had a poor night of sleep due to stuffy room with a window that wouldn't open. We tried to sleep with the a/c on, but it was noisy and blew very hard which didn't allow for sleep. We booked this hotel again, a year later, and called to request a room with a window that opens. Don, who answered the phone, stated "Of course all our rooms have windows that open." After checking in and reaching our room, first thing I did was try to open the window, which would not open. I called the front desk and was told "none of the windows open for insurance purposes." When I mentioned my conversation with Don, I was told "He is new, and doesn't know everything yet" Big help to us! We were in town for a large event held in the city, and changing hotels at that point was not an option. The rooms are very stuffy, without even a bathroom window. Nothing is special at this hotel except that it has a great location, which you are paying for in the price, and I guess why they are not overly concerned with customer service.

« Palm Springs stay for Tour De Palm Springs Ride »

Stayed here for 1 night for Tour De Palm Springs Century Ride. SO appreciated that this hotel offers an EARLY breakfast (starting at 5:30 a.m.) to accommodate TDPS Cyclists because the ride starts at 6:30 am. Nice property with lovely pool area and centrally located to walk all over Downtown Palm Springs. Will definitely stay here again next year.

    « Surprisingly good! »

Better than the average Best Western, and I like Best Western. Surprisingly good breakfast with made to order omelets, clean and heated pool, clean Jacuzzi, and charming courtyard grounds. And not expensive! I would come back on another stay in the area.

    « Perfect location »

The Location excellent but for the price paid I expected better it is an old building needs painting in the areas outside of the rooms to me it was more Motel than Hotel the dining room totally inadequate for the no of guests I don't think Best Western will be on my future travels

« Other Palm Springs hotels give you more for your money »

This was my worst hotel stay in Palm Springs out of 4 stays in the last year. I paid a small fortune for my room at the Best Western Las Brisas, more than I've ever paid, but alas the smaller hotels I usually stay at downtown were already booked. And unlike the boutiques I stayed in before, the Best Western Las Brisas has small, dark rooms that open to the public with blackout curtains that take an act of congress to get fully closed so no one can see in. Between that, all the homeless people milling around the area, and the vomit under the front registration awning right at a main walkway that clearly had been there for many many hours...I didn't feel safe. Top it off with undrinkable coffee at the free breakfast that made me turn down the breakfast altogether and go somewhere that didn't feel like a dungeon to drink my decent coffee for a few dollars. Really, I couldn't recommend more strongly to stay at a smaller property in downtown Palm Springs. You will get a much bigger bang for your buck.

    4
« Clean hotel, nice room. »

Very clean hotel rooms. Walking distance from downtown Palm Springs near stores, restaurants, etc. Limit 1 omelete per person for breakfast - includes coffee, pastries, oatmeal, yogurt. Nice hotel and perfect for our day trip to the Palm Springs Tram. We will stay here again if we visit the snow and tram again. I'm allergic to dogs and couldn't stay at most of the other hotels in this area that are dog-friendly.

« So good we didn;t want to leave »

Clean quiet and excellent location. Rooms have adequate facilities and the communal areas are clean and gardens well kept. The staff are friendly and booking in straight forward. We had planned to visit various locations whilst in Palm Springs but the hotel was so nice we decided to relax round by the pool. The breakfast was very tasty but a bit samey after four days. I am not knocking it though as it was free (or at least hidden in the cost) Bar prices and food was slightly higher than what we expected to pay, service was good but the food average. We will definitely return.

« Great location and good value. »

We have stayed at this hotel before. It is an older hotel but is very clean and the location is great for walking to the main shopping area on Palm Canyon Drive. Breakfast is included and offers a nice selection of things to choose from. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend this hotel for its value and location.

« Great Stay in Palm Springs »

One of the best things about this hotel is the location ! Literally blocks away from the heart of downtown Palm Springs. Park your car and walk, enjoy the whole experience of this wonderful destination. This Best Western is nicely done and fits perfectly with Palm Springs. The rooms, the facility, amenities all fantastic. The staff was friendly eager to help. The morning breakfast was just right, everything needed to start your day. You will not be disappointed with your stay here.

« Nice, clean, pretty quiet, and convenient »

Let me start by saying that this place had two strikes against it from the start: 1. We prefer much smaller hotels. They're more personal. This has more than 100 rooms. 2. The weather was terrible for the first several days - torrential rains and cold (for Palm Springs) temps. But there's nothing the hotel can do about that. Despite its size, this is a VERY nice place. As per usual in Best Westerns, there are no bad surprises. The good: The staff were all friendly, from the front desk to housekeeping, everyone had a smile. The location is outstanding. Right in Palm Springs "village", within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Our room (top floor, bldg. B) was large, clean, and relatively quiet. It faced the pool, so there was some noise, but that's to be expected. Aside from doors opening and closing, we heard little noise. It had a small fridge for cold adult beverages and leftovers from the many restaurants in the area. The beds are extremely comfortable. My wife and I both slept like logs. The free breakfasts. Las Brisas differs from many Best Westerns in that it doesn't have the usual meat/eggs/potatoes buffet. Here, a nice person makes omelette to order. There's also a waffle machine, a toaster with things to toast, and other breakfast dishes. But no meat/egg/potatoes under heat lamps. The not-so-good: This is a teeny, tiny nit, but my wife and I are fans of PBS, which isn't available in the hotel. So we missed Downton Abbey. Like I said, it's a teeny, tiny nit.

« GREAT LOCATION FOR PALM SPRINGS TRIP »

Have stayed here 7 times - love the location and value - easy walking around town, great parking fun lounge and good breakfast. Staff is friendly and rooms are clean and we think the beds are very comfy.

    « Good but dated »

The hotel is old but kinda European-although most Palm Springs ones in the heart of the city are The rooms clean - breakfast good Staff friendly enough. Lots of parking Although walking everywhere is easy from this hotel. Probly a 3 star because of the fact it's old. But location again is the main reason to stay. I think the prices on Expedia and book it ect are way overpriced ! We Decided last minute to stay there and just walked in. We saved 100.00 a night doing this. Expedia wanted 198. Per night. I would not pay more then 100. Per night. The staff friendly. Breakfast very good!

    « Very Good Experience »

I WAS VERY PLEASANTLY SURPRISED WITH LAS BRISAS IN PALM SPRINGS! Good location to airport; clean, well maintained property. My only complaint was the price for senior rates, which I believe to be too high for fixed incomes. Would recommend this locale.

« Wonderful hotel in wonderful Palm Springs »

We were in this lovely hotel for 4 nights over the new year holiday. It's in an amazing location one block off the main strip and right in the middle of everything. Really lovely staff, especially our room cleaner who hearing we had no plans for new years invited us to her house for tequila! While we didn't go, the offer was adorable. This sums up the hotel staff. All happy, helpful and kind! The rooms are perfect. With a really amazing bed, so comfortable, and lovely towels. We slept really well and also appreciated the free HBO when in the room. Free parking helped to top off what is a great deal in Palm Springs. Can't wait to come back!

    « Well Run Hotel »

We stayed at Best Western as party of 2 Adults + 2 Kids (5 & 8) staying in 2 x Queen Bed room. The room was on the smaller size, so a little tight to handle 4 big bags plus other luggage. The room is very clean. We can tell the management / owners of this hotel take pride in the hotel service. Everything is clean, and attention to detail. Breakfast was included. Omelettes, bagels, fruit, toasts, and Waffles. Parking is included and is right in the middle of Palm Springs central area. The rooms are dark at night with the only light coming from the windows that open out to the walkway where other guest walk past your room. Maybe ask for upper level or room location with less walk by traffic.

Best Westerns are always a good choice , clean, friendly everything you need.. Great location, near everything we wanted.. I have stayed here 2 times before and really recommend it.. recommend the NYPD Bar was a blast ( a bit on the dive side but it is part of its charm !!!! and shopping is out of this world...

« Great hotel in central Palm Springs »

We stay here often when traveling to Palm Springs - aprox once a year. It is a nice, quiet location that is good for families and is only one block away from the main downtown strip. There is no need to drive everywhere when you can walk to dinner etc. The pool and breakfast is always great and welcomed.

« Beware of extra charges! »

After checking out, got an extra ~$68 charge on my credit card. I sat on hold while calling long distance from Canada, and turns out it they 'made a mistake' so they are refunding the money. Otherwise, the location is okay and breakfast is okay (very busy). Showing its age a bit. We had a huge gap (~0.5") around the bathroom door where someone could peek in. The rooms at the back are very loud with truck traffic at night/morning.

    « Excellent beds!!! »

Excellent beds!!! Older hotel so rooms are small. Grounds are nice and private even the parking lot. Limited parking, so if you come back late you might not get a spot! Heated pool & Jacuzzi area nice but bar out there isnt open often. Bar inside small serves snack like food, not full menu & its small. Breakfast room dark & small but they serve up omelets made to order. In the heart of downtown Palm Springs. Walk to many restaurants, casino, etc. Nice but way over priced for what it is.

    4
    « Conveniently located »

This hotel is not only comfortable and clean and a great value but conveniently located in the heart of downtown Palm Springs, within walking distance to most shops and restaurants. We will definitely return.

    5
    « Perfect Hotel »

It's always a pleasure to stay here. The employees are very nice, the grounds are immaculate, and it's close to the main drag and village market. We try to get here at least twice a year. Once in summer and once before Christmas to shop the street fair.

« Palm Springs La Brier Hotel »

Good location, poor maid service, old needs to updated, bath room small, small vanity, funny smell in room. Breakfast area small. Why should I say more, I would not recommend a Best Western Hotel again. Same old thing, old properties at a good location but no up grades to hotel rooms.

    « Sam »

Hotel was nice, but no microwaves in any rooms. Loud music from a bar if you get stuck in the back side of the motel rooms. Staff was courteous. Rooms were clean and beds were nice. Walking distance to downtown shops.

« Excellent location; Comfortable stay. Needs a little upgrading. »

Easily accessed by car, as well as by walking or via transit. The bus stop is directly outside and if you are there Thursday to Sunday, you can use the free Buzz trolley to get around. The check in staff were very friendly. The management honored our booking request for a higher room with a view and gave us an upgrade to a room with a hot tub. Our room, 3rd floor pool side B building was very quiet apart from some plumbing noise, when someone was filling the giant hot tub in their room. These are almost too massive to fill in the present drought, but even one quarter full they make for a fun experience! The King Deluxe with hot tub is a large room with all you need for a comfy 3 night stay. The bed was very comfortable. The 47" TV was just right to watch in bed! My only complaint with the room however is the TV service of about 50 channels, most of which are of poor visual quality. Very few channels in HD quality. The management should address this. The individually made omelettes and the fresh fruit are the best part of the breakfast. The breakfast room is small but there many tables just outside at the pool area. There are also several other shaded areas with tables. My first impression of the building was that it needs fresh paint on the stucco and whilst some of the walkways are somewhat gloomy, the hotel has great foliage and many fountains adding to the relaxing ambiance. I would stay here again.

For years I picked the cheapest franchise style of hotel/motel stays and regretted it. Cleanliness and noise issues top list. At Las Brisas our stay was a peaceful pleasant experience. The room was clean. We shall return. Thank you T.M.

« Excellent location, comfortable stay »

We stay at quite a few Best Westerns, and this is one of the nicer "Plus" implementations. And the location is perfect to Downtown - easy walking distance to the top restaurants and bars. The breakfast has an omelet bar and waffles, but could benefit from a hot meat option. Beds and rooms are average. A great feature is the pool area; good sized pool, hot tub. Pool-side bar and food. The hotel itself is beautiful, appointed in a south-west theme. Very highly recommended.

This Best Western is a lovely property, enjoyed our stay! Very comfortable rooms and a nice selection of breakfast items at the included buffet. Location allows easy access to local shopping and restaurants.

« Very pleasant stay in Palm Springs »

Nicely located close to the downtown Palm Springs area. Breakfast was surprisingly good which included hand made omelettes with salsa. The spa was a welcomed sight after a day of hiking the skyline trail. The Palm Springs Art Museum is also within walking distance.

Love how close the hotel to downtown. There is so many shops and restaurants that you can walk to. The staff has always been so friendly and welcoming. I can spend the entire day poolside since they have a bar in pool area. The facility is always clean and well kept. Very happy with all my stays!

Great location in central Palm Springs, close to everything downtown in Palm Springs. Nice Pool and Spa, adequate breakfast (could use some variation from same entree every morning). Good internet, and very comfortable room and bed.

We had a great stay. All of the folks were extremely accommodating and personable. The breakfast was wonderful each morning as well. Great service and just a wonderful staff and location. We have already booked a return stay!

« Great location near hub of downtown & wonderful breakfast »

We travel a lot and I was impressed with the breakfast. A chef prepared your omelettes for you while you waited. The omelettes were just the right size (not too big and not too small) and delicious and they also provided fresh salsa which was excellent. They also had fresh cantaloupe and fresh pineapple (not from a can). This impressed me. They had an assortment of other foods, too. Also, they served the food on real plates--not paper plates, another huge plus! The rooms are a little older but well decorated and nicely urnished. The hotel is conveniently located near the hub of downtown and within easy walking distance to many attractions.

    5
    « Great Experience! »

Great experience. The location is central and the staff are friendly and helpful. Most importantly the beds are some of the most comfortable of any hotel we've stayed in. Price is fair and the omelettes in the morning by the pool are very good. Would definitely return.

Hotel half of the trip was very good. The restaurant half of the hotel was poor and of limited choice for the breakfast, The first room given us had an adjoining room and doorway that allowed the noise from next door to drift in. We were given another room that was much quieter.

Stayed at Las Brisas twice. It could not be better situated in downtown PAlm Springs and I think is excellent value for money. Staff always friendly and professional. Rooms not inspiring but very good for class of hotel; clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay again.

Overall good experience. The stay provided what we were looking for at a decent price. Breakfast was well done with omelets included. « First time here, will stay again, helpful desk staff. »

We hadn't been to Palm Springs before, I read the reviews here on Trip Advisor and decided to book. When we approached the area by car, my party said 'ooh nice place', when I drive in, they were really pleased. Pro's - breakfast has some hot items, the room is spacious, the resort has a nice spanish appearance, there is a pool bar and parking is easy. Its so close to down town, we walked. Con's - nothing really, I noted it is also the preferred hotel for construction workers, so be quick for the breakfast! Felt safe, looks and feels clean, we stayed on 3rd (top) level and it was quiet enough. Make sure if you visit PS on a Thursday to take in the Down Town Markets, its short stroll from here to the markets!

    4
    « Nice getaway »

Great location, very nice staff, nice room, excellent breakfast (Great omelets!) The pool was heated to 82 degrees. This made me sohappy! My only complaint is the fact that my room was on the 1st floor next to the housekeeping room. So, every morning at 5:55am, they woke me up pushing the cleaning cart.

    5
« Location, Atmosphere and Comfort Plus »

Location is one of the best in Downtown Palm Springs you can seriously walk to everywhere. The exterior is Spanish Design and well done with lots of great landscaping a very nice pool area and even a small bar. Very good breakfast bar in the morning with made to order omelettes. Every staff member we encountered were polite friendly and wanted to problem solve if necessary, Wi-Fi was free and worked just fine also free parking. Room well laid out with very comfortable beds, clean, and all of this for a very affordable rate for Palm Springs. Well worth the $$ and I am picky, My only niggles are - Carpet worn out in the rooms and for 3 days they were out of newspaper by 7:15 am that included the front desk and finally beware of room location as some have very little sun and can be dark.

    5
« Nice rooms, great location »

I've stayed at this BW three times this year. The hotel is an older venue, but the rooms have been updated, and you can walk to downtown Palm Springs. Nice pool area complete with a cabana bar and great reasonable "bar food". The staff are accommodating. The only problem I've experienced relates to parking on-site on a Thursday night. Palm Springs closes their main street to cars that evening and loads of folks walk around shopping and dining out. When we came back to the hotel around 9:30 PM, the parking lot was full and overflowing. We were able to park in the free city public parking lot, directly across from the hotel--it is open 24 hrs. and very well lit.

This is the 4th year we have stayed at the Best Western Plus Las Brisas Hotel. It is a very clean hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was roomy and the bed was wonderful. We really enjoy the delicious breakfast and the relaxing courtyard to enjoy it in. The location is perfect for walking to Downtown events and nightlife. The view is wonderful and the pool area is so relaxing. We can't wait to return again next year.

« Excellent Value For Money »

We just got back from Palm Springs. We are very pleased with our decision to stay at the Best Western Plus. The hotel is located in the heart of the Palm Springs downtown, so you can just step out anytime and walk around the beautiful downtown area (plenty of restaurants, boutique shops etc). Several points of interest (Aerial Tramway, Art Museum, Botanical Garden etc.) are in close proximity as well. I wonder why anybody would pay the higher resort hotel prices (esp for those hotels located at a distance from the downtown) when you have this centrally located good old Best Western. The property is well-kept and quiet. We found the staff to be friendly as well. They have a complimentary hot breakfast which is excellent. Before I run out of superlatives, let me just say that this place is great value for money and I highly recommend it.

We always stay at this hotel when in Palm Springs. It is very centrally located, clean and has good staff. Excellent fully cooked breakfast. « Amazing hotel!!! Beautiful »

stayed here overnight NOV 15 w/ kids while checking out the area.... got a 2 queen room w/ a city view. Pros - very fast checkin and courteous service! exceptional! -well landscaped hotel and VERY clean common areas -room was spotless w/ comfy beds and nice linens -clean bathrooms w/ curved shower rods -super warm and clean pool / hot tub... well manicured garden -great breakfast! omelet bar and waffle maker w/ outside eating area --free parking near room -SUPER close to main strip and all restaurants and shops -Reasonably priced for this area CONS- Super slow Wi-Fi, pretty much worthless... We would have been better off using dial up! ended up using our hotspot on Note 4. Other than that, what a beautiful hotel I would definitely recommend it is very close to everything you need... And very friendly staff. Reasonably priced for Palm Springs. Especially if you have kids come here they will love the warm pool... but then again you don't have to be a kid to enjoy that! PSS---By the way you are only a 10 minute ride from Palm Springs Aerial Tram from this hotel! And just another 10 minutes up the road is this really cool outdoor dinosaur museum for the kids, that they can climb up inside of a T Rex! LiG Hp

« Nice comfortable room with great breakfast »

Stayed here two nights and enjoyed the hotel. They have nice, clean and comfortable rooms right in the heart of downtown Palm Springs. Great location with lots of great restaurants and shops within a few blocks. Nice pool area. The wifi was good - good coverage and good speed. They have great breakfast included with room - with make to order omelette. The walls were a bit thin, you could hear noises from other rooms and outside but it wasn't bad. I will stay there again on our next visit.

This is our hotel of choice whenever we are in Palm Springs. The breakfast at the pool is extremely enyoyable. The location is just about perfect with all our favourite restaurants within a short distance.

    5
    « Great Hotel »

This is a great place to stay. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. The grounds are beautiful. My room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. There are a lot of restaurants across the street in each direction. In the mornings, complimentary breakfast items are available, including omelets cooked to order. You can purchase lunch items and then/or appetizers in the evening in the lounge at the hotel, but dinner is not available at the hotel at night. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

    « Great location »

Our 3rd time at this hotel. A great location near all restaurants and bars in the heart of downtown Palm Springs. Very friendly, helpful staff. Rooms clean and well appointed. The pool area with bar is not large but never felt overcrowded and on occasion we had the whole area to ourselves. Its attractive spot to take advantage of the many sunny days.

    5
    « Excellent..again! »

Second stay here. Well appointed, good breakfast, pool area excellent. Only slight negative was the approach of the guy who checked us in. Seemed very negative and disinterested until we said we had stayed before.

    « 1st time in Palm Springs »

Haven't stayed in a Best Western for years so wasn't sure what to expect. This is an awesome older hotel. Very well kept. Staff was excellent, rooms are modest but very clean, pool was nice and had a pool bar and food available. The FREE breakfast was very good with freshly made omelets, waffles, fruit, oatmeal, yogurt, cereal and breads. The combination made this a very affordable option. Excellent downtown location! Within a block of fine dining, restaurants and bars. Also highly recommend taking the Tram ride and hiking Palm Canyon while there.

    5
    « Excellent, Excellent,Excellent!! »

Every visit has left me with beautiful memories. This trip was as usual, business. If every Best Western Plus provides this excellent service, and affordabilty, in my travels I will definitely switch. This upgrade provided me with such a delightful stay. Words cannot express how much your kindness was appreciated!

« Clean, friendly, and a perfect location »

Friends and I rented a couple rooms for Pride weekend, and we were so pleased with the Las Brisas. It is perfect location in downtown Palm Springs, literally around the corner from great eateries and bars. Staff were very friendly and the price was fair. Rooms were very clean and we felt safe at all times. Free wi-fi AND free breakfast. Definitely will stay here again in the future!

« Great get away for any couple »

The calmness in the pool / jacuzzi was worth the trip.. The weather was perfect. The pool bar was perfect and the cantina also made great drinks. The continental breakfast was exactly what we expected.

« Good choice for the money. »

The hotel is in a good position, near all the restaurants and some shops. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast is ok....adequate but certainly not lavish! There is a very nice pool and hot tub and all is clean and well maintained. The staff generally were helpful. Note one point however....do not hang a towel on the back of the door....it prevents the lock working, and you get locked out. They had to get maintenance to remove a window to let us in!!!

« Weekend in Palm Springs »

Loved our recent stay here. You couldn't ask for a better location near downtown Palm Springs. We were able to walk to shops and restaurants. The hotel very nice. Comfortable beds, nice décor and so quiet you couldn't hear your neighbor. I would stay there again.

« Right next to PS Pride »

Perfect location for walking to the PS Pride festivities. Fridge in the room is a nice ammenity. Convenient parking and walkability to Palm Canyon Drive. Rooms a bit dated, but clean with nice beds. Staff was competent and friendly.

« Good location but had some flaws »

The hotel is one block away from downtown full of restaurants and shops and the Thursday street fair. It however backs on to 3 bars so do not stay on the street side of building B. We were awoken every night between midnight and 3am with crowd noise. You get 2 pool towels in your room to use at the pool daily which is not enough if you spend the day at the pool. You can get them exchanged at the front desk but annoying. Breakfast includes make your own waffles and an omelet station. Poolside lunch and drinks available from bar. Noisy room was probably the biggest complaint.

    5
« Lovely hotel, full American breakfast, poolside bar and helpful peresonnel make this a winner »

We had two rooms on the second floor facing Indian Canyon Drive and had no noise issues including Halloween night. The rooms were comfortable with a fridge and very comfy beds. When we had one or two small issues such as the wrong time on the clock, the manager handled it immediately. The grounds are lovely and well-maintained and parking is ample and free. It's conveniently located a short walk from many sights including the beautiful Palm Springs Art Museum and lots of shops and restaurants. We will stay there again!

« Good Location, Good Breakfast, Okay Hotel & Loud at Night »

Do not stay in Building C facing towards bar next door. You will be woken up after 2 am to very loud clanking of glass bottles for over 20 minutes every night after bar closes. Good location next to main strip, walkable distance to Conference Center, other hotels, plenty of shopping and restaurants. Free parking and free breakfast (including self made waffles, and omelet station). Pool was not used buy looked nice. Lobby small but with small bar or bar outside at the gazebo. Just check to see if the only bartender is on break, otherwise you would be better off bringing your own downstairs.

    5
    « Another great stay! »

Love this hotel! Staff is friendly, and the location is excellent as all stores and restaurants in downtown Palm Springs are within walking distance. We were, however, concerned with the lack of watering of plants on the hotel grounds. Plants were not being adequately watered, and many plants were starting to shrivel up. The lush flora and plants on the grounds are what initially drew us to this hotel, and if plants are permitted to dry up and die, we will have to find a different place to stay in Palm Springs, so hopefully this situation will be corrected. Hand watering is permitted under almost all city watering programs, even though it may be more costly than automatic sprinklers. Probably worth the extra cost to insure return guest visits, I'm thinking.

    4
    « Nice Location & Breakfast »

Nearby walking distance to the best restaurants (I recommend Lulu's), galleries (don't miss Stewards) and shopping in Palm Springs was a big plus. The Las Brisas grounds are nice and the pool was clean and refreshing. While our room was no better than average, the (included) full American breakfast was very nice. It's a 'healthy' walk from Las Brisas to the Art Museum (about 8 blocks each way), but walk or drive it's not to be missed!

    « Last visit »

Skip it unless you are looking for a cheap hotel. The person preparing the breakfast had absolutely no people skills. She acted as if my husband and I were an interruption of her day when we arrived on time at 6 AM. She was setting up and did not like the idea of us arriving before she was ready to start with the preparation of the omelets.. Maybe she should arrive to work on time.

    4
    « Oasis »

Have to admit, we used this property because we had points for free nights. Just a one night stopover on both ends of a leisure vacation. Great location - just a block off the main drag of Palm Springs - walking distance to many restaurants. Very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was so-so, but the omelets were good. We would use this property again, for sure.

This is a great little hotel. Nice pool, rooms are spacious and staff were excellent. The guy at the pool cabana makes excellent margaritas ! I actually have to say the inclusive breakfast was very good to. Loved being able to walk to nearby restaurants. Great price for a cool few days away.

    5
    « Great Getaway »

Lovely grounds and pool area, great location right near everything in the heart of town, full breakfast that includes made to order omelets, comfortable beds and good work space all make for a satisfying stay!

« Not the hotel's fault, but couldn't sleep almost entire night »

We almost enjoyed and loved our stay till night broke. Some misbehaving guests totally ruined everything. Shouting, laughing, yelling....almost never stopped during the night. Started with one group around midnight, then new group began 1:00am, then another one after that. Understood that it was Halloween weekend, on the other hands, it is just a Halloween. Embarrassingly enough tons of adults who still can't grow up were out there. Very sad.... In fact, I was ready to give 5 stars. Clean and comfortable room, small but nice pool and hot tub, hot breakfast which opens early at 6:00am (really helped after almost unslept night), reliable wifi, reasonable rate (at last minutes reservation) etc.... But this is our very first stay with BW. First experience is very important. Although it is not exactly the fault of management, are we giving another chance? Not sure about that....

    5
« This is a wonderful place to stay »

The pool was right outside our door and it was like staying at an expensive resort. The breakfast had a real live omelet bar which was unusual. The rooms looked as if they had been renovated recently and were very comfortable. It was a great experience and we will return. The price was great for everything we received and we will stay even when prices go up as the season changes.

    « Big disappointment »

I had a lovely memory of this place from many years ago. Under duress my husband agreed to hit the bar for a drink and some food. I ordered the tacos of beef assado and a Cadillac margarita. All I can say is the meat in the taco smelled like pee and was so tough I had 2 bites and left it. My husband who ordered nothing but a beer tasted it and threw the taco on the plate. I wanted to tell the server but he was too busy to even look at me. The taco chips and salsa were good but my drink which was very tasty turned bitter when we saw the bill. It came in at $17.95. They're in an excellent location, they don't have to be good. You may be seduced by the band or the crowds, just have a beer and chips. Go somewhere else for the main course.

« Great stay. Highly recommended. »

Super front desk staff, always helpful and very friendly. Property kept very clean. Loved the open air as soon as we stepped outside the room. Great location for Palm Springs Main Street. Lovely pool area much underused when we were there! Plenty of loungers and iced water on tap. Breakfast included was ok but servers more interested in talking at top of voice with friends and guests almost got in the way of that.

« Pleasantly Surprised but Sad »

I had a last minute trip to Palm Springs and there were an over welling hotel options. I choose this hotel solely on the fact it was a Best Western so I had no idea what to expect. Upon arrival the front desk was very welcoming and willing to help me find my way around the city. The property was very beautiful and felt like jungle inside. Finding my room was quite delightful because it allowed me to walk the property and appreciate the views. I loved the fact there was a pool side bar, it gave it a Vegas feel. My room wasn't what I expected for a business trip. AC outlets were not conveniently located and work desk was uncomfortable to work on. The breakfast was good only because they offered an omelette bar. The breakfast options were not so good and there was nothing to compliment the omelette. I was bothered by the fact the hotel wasted water throughout the property given the fact California is in a drought. Their all the fountains were spilling water and when I choose to reuse my towel by hanging it up, house keeping ignored it and gave me a new one everyday. Not sure how this hotel is considered "Green".... I would definitely stay here for pleasure if and when they decide to help save water.

« The Best Best Western »

Whenever we come to Palm Springs we try to stay here. The hotel itself is excellent but you can't beat it for location. It is across the street from two great restaurants and a few blocks from Downtown and the Spa Casino. It feels more like a resort than a hotel.

« An Excelent BW Hotel in the Heart of the Springs »

A lovely Hacienda style hotel, we were early on checking in but rooms were available. For us the room was in "B" block right next to the pool area. Room large, very clean, AC, good storage, large TV and complimentary WIFI. Pool area was lovely with a poolside bar (Not open) but poolside bar service never the less. Pleasant and efficient service from all of the staff at the hotel all of whom wore corporate tops with the hotel name on. Smart and tidy. Breakfast was served in the Breakfast room from 6am each day. A good choice of foods available with a hot plate and cook to whip up an omelette. A guest did ask for fried eggs but was informed only Omelette or scrambled could be made. I guess this is ok as they had pre-prepared the eggs and were working off a couple of hot plates. The breakfast was delicious though. Overall a very good experience and we would not hesitate to stay again if we are in the area.

    « Great location »

We stayed here one night, the first night of our vacation in the area. It was a Saturday night so it was quite busy, but we asked for a quiet location and that's what we got. The room was clean, although the air conditioning unit was quite noisy. I'm usually a light sleeper, and if I wasn't so tired from a long haul flight and then a drive then I think I would have had trouble sleeping with the noise. The hotel was very near the main shopping and restaurant street, and was within a short driving distance of the aerial tramway. The complimentary breakfast was amazing - with the option of custom made omelettes and fresh waffles, among other things. Although we didn't swim in the pool, that area looked very inviting. We would stay here again.

    5

We are going back again tomorrow for a one night stay!

« Central location, comfortable rooms, and impressive grounds »

We stayed here for one night, and had a very positive experience. The hotel is centrally located, just a block away from the main drag of downtown Palm Springs. Though it's not especially impressive from the street, I was pleasantly surprised by the grounds. Once you get by the pool area and some of the back courtyards, the landscaping and set up add a level of class to what otherwise would be an average place. The room we had was clean and comfortable and the decor was basic, but there were some attempts to make it consistent with the exterior look of the hotel. The staff was also very pleasant and helpful. If I need an inexpensive, comfortable place to stay in a convenient location, I would definitely come back.

« Relaxing at the quilt show »

After a full day of walking at the Palm Springs Quilt show it was nice to take a dip in the pool and have a drink at the pool bar before tackling the Thur. night street fair and some wonderful food. We dined at Sammy G's where food and service were top notch. During my day at the show, hubby visited the WW2 air museum but found the local golf courses closed. It WAS 103 that day. We WILL be back.

This was my third trip to this hotel & Palm Springs; both are a great experience; the striking things about this hotel are the pool, the flowers and all the palm trees in the surrounding area. The rooms have always been great, the service is great and a good breakfast.

    « Another lovely stay »

We have stayed here before and will always return as it is a perfect place to stay in Palm Springs. The hotel and grounds are so attractive and well kept, the rooms are comfortable and well equipped, and thoughtfully designed. The location is fantastic as you are a very short walk from the main street and some lovely restaurants. The breakfast is great with a very good choice including omelettes made to order. Everywhere is clean and well maintained. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Palm Springs.

« Perfect Palm Springs getaway »

Great place and great location. Good place to meet people, especially by the pool bar. Convenient walk to downtown PS and all restaurants and shops. Limited menu at the cantina/bar, but what they have is very good. We have never had a bad stay.

« Beautiful hotel, great location »

My partner and I stayed at Best Western Plus Las Brisas in September 2015 whilst passing through Palm Springs. It is very centrally located and offers lots of free parking. The hotel is beautifully and very authentically decorated and offers clean, spacious and stylish rooms. I wouldn't hesitate to visit again and would recommend to all.

    « A Downtown Oasis »

The Las Brisas is ideally situated in downtown Palm Springs and is within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. The Spanish style building has a lovely pool area and a cool courtyard to sit and relax in. The hotel is also within an easy driving distance of all major attractions. We would definitely stay again.
