    « Highly resommended »

Probably the best Best Western hotel we've ever stayed. Pleasant surprise in the remote area of Arizona. Nice building. Public spaces decorated in some artistic level. Efficient and helpful staff. Better than average breakfast. Heated big pool, a perfect place to relax after day trips, and evenings were not so warm in November. Great vistas around the hotel. Only the wi fi was poor, but it looks like it was the problem of the whole Page area. Highly recommended.

    « Value for money »

Best Western Plus is inexpensive, clean, & comfortable for an overnight stay. Breakfast is substantial but you might have to wait if you show up after 7. Hotel is centrally located near restaurants like Big John BBQ & supermarket.

« Decent hotel, with small concern about cleanliness »

Stayed here one night in November 2016. When we arrived, we noticed some long black hairs in the bathroom (I am blond, and my husband almost bald, so they weren't ours) -- I let the front desk know, and they sent someone to clean the bathroom. The room itself was well-appointed and nicely decorated. The free buffet breakfast was fine.

    « Very Nice Hotel »

Great place to stay! A lot of amenities on your door step, free hot drinks 24/7 highly recommend this place, staff friendly, free wifi and breakfast as well as parking. Rooms are comfy with 2 big beds, guests can use the business centre for free and printer

    « Won't sleep well here »

I have stayed in many Best Westerns and this was by far the most disappointing. Newly renovated it looked really nice but you can tell that time/quality was not put into the place. We had a 2 queen bedroom suite, room 205. Pros: clean lobby. Spacious room. Fridge. The dining area was nice and clean too. Friendly staff. Location is great - 12 min drive to lower antelope canyon, walking distance to restaurants, Safeway (Starbucks within). No problem with hot water for showers, and there was a double shower head that provides good water pressure. Many outlets easily accessible. Cons: noisy! We were on the 2nd floor and could hear everything upstairs and in the hallway - running, stomping, things slamming on and falling on the floor. Our view overlooked the garbage so when the truck came by early in the morning you could hear all the beeping and noise from this too. The beds were the WORST! Even my kids, who can typically fall asleep on anything, couldn't get comfortable. All of our bodies ached, we were tired... and this really affected our trip. Wifi was terrrible. No safe within the room. Towels felt like sandpaper. The laminate floors were not level and were bubbling up. We lost power on one side of the wall in our room the second day but I didn't bother calling it in. We had enough lights and outlets on the other wall. Sofa was uncomfortable too.

« Good spot for a short stop! »

Despite of messy check in (flood in the basement), we finally had our room ready at 6pm and enjoyed our one night stay. Staff was not super friendly... The room is standard and I still think that sinks installed in the corridor of the room is a strange idea ! Good breakfast with a large choice of food but get ready to wait if you arrive at 7:30am- 8:30am. The hotel is located In the center of Page (nothing to see there). There are few restaurants in the area (Big John's Texas BBQ is awesome) and you are not far away from the marina if you want to enjoy the lake Powell by boat. The nice small swimming pool is a plus. Good for a short stop in your western trip but can be expensive during summer!

    « Excellent customer service! »

The hotel is very nice. The lobby was very warm and inviting. The check in staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. The room is so spacious. The sink is outside of the bathroom and the first thing you see when you walk into the room. The room has planks and not carpet. There is a huge mirror on the other side of the sink that opens up to a closet with two suitcase caddies, an iron, and an ironing board. On the other side of the mirror, was a table with two chairs and a Keurig machine with a nice selection of drinks. The tv cabinet holds a refrigerator and a two-drawer dresser. There is lounge chair and a divan. The room also has a nice sized table that is used for an office area. There are plenty of outlets in the room for charging electronics. The beds are softer than we are accustomed to but comfortable. Some in our party complained about the smaller square pillows, but the pillows were acceptable to everyone else. The reason why I did not give the hotel a 5 is because the wifi is absolutely horrid and the noise was annoying at times. We kept getting kicked off websites. If it were not for the fact that there is only 3G available with AT&T in Page, I probably would have skipped the wifi. Verizon is excellent with LTE. We could hear kids running up and down the hall above us. We could also hear the people above us getting ready in the morning. Luckily we were getting up at the same time. Otherwise, I would have been quite upset. The breakfast was excellent. There were scrambled and hard boiled eggs. They served sausage and potatoes. There was a wide variety of yogurt and cereals. There is even a pancake bar, full-service. You can get any breakfast drink you can think of. There was every breakfast condiment necessary to enjoy your meal. Fair warning. You may not sit down to a table without checking in with the person at the entrance to the breakfast area. Overall, I would return. As I have a device with Verizon, the wifi is not an issue. The location is so nice. We were able to get around Page easily.

« Wish we had taken TA's advice and NOT booked a 1st floor room.... »

The receptionists were wonderful, the property is well maintained for the most part HOWEVER we have to agree with some other contributors that while the "wood" floor seems nice (there are some problems with them coming apart because they weren't installed properly to begin with) it created problems with the insulation between floors with no carpet. The sounds radiated downward and it sounded like a HURD of Elephants were preforming above us OR a child that had NOT been disaplined NOT to STOMP, RUN and JUMP on beds!! The showers were WONDERFUL, breakfast was GREAT and we were happy to have the availability of a "business"center to be able to type a letter!

« Price too good to be true? »

We were looking for a good value for one night after a last-minute decision to tour Rainbow Bridge. A hand full of hotels was revealed after a quick look at online reviews, including Best Western Plus. But Best Western was significantly less expensive. Too good to be true? I was slightly surprised. It was true. This is a very pleasant, clean, and modern establishment. The rooms well appointed. The complementary breakfast generous. This will be our choice whenever we stay in Page.

« Good sleeping, bad internet »

I spent here two nights and it was good choice. Beds was OK, room clean and good service. The only thing that was bad was internet speed adding so there was no AT&T mobile coverage in Page You can imagine how I as a tourist was been disconnected from other friends. Pool was also an asset as my mate said :)

« Nice place to stay in Page »

We stayed here for two nights, after driving from the Moku Dugway, Valley of the Gods, and Monument Valley, to see Horseshoe Bend, lower Antelope Canyon, and Lake Powell near Page. Very pleased with the hotel, room, breakfast, and parking. It was booked up when we were there in May; due to the large number of British and Chinese tourists, we did have to wait a little to get into breakfast, but it wasn't really a problem. Most of them didn't have cars, so we didn't have much problem parking. The A/C was great, of couse, which is essential for Arizona in the summer. There were a number of cheaper hotels in Page, but it was worth it to pay a little more for a much nicer hotel. I would stay here again.

    5
« Perfect for the Night »

I took a quick road trip from Colorado to Arizona. We made many stops along the way- a 12 hour drive in total. When we arrived, we were exhausted! The receptionists were extremely nice & helpful. When we got to the room, I was impressed at how nice it was! We purchased the room on Expedia and were on a cheap budget for this day trip. It was perfect for a one night stay, clean and comfortable. The location is very convenient. It's located near restaurants and most importantly, Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend, which were our main destinations.

    5
« An excellent choice in Page »

Very clean and comfortable hotel, with new rooms and firm beds. The position is within walking distance of downtown Page, with several dining options available. The rooms don't have wall-to-wall carpeting, which is a plus in my opinion, because of the difficulty of cleaning it well (I don't know why so many hotels insist on it). Good breakfast buffet. The personnel at the front desk is maybe not up to Best Western's standards of politeness, but in general I had a very pleasant stay, and I'd go back if I could.

« Admin is so bad and customer service so awful I cancelled the booking! »

I booked this hotel some months earlier and along the way my credit card was cloned by someone. Having already charged my card once, when I sent them the details of the new card they charged that one too. Eventually got all of my money back but not before I received two of the tersest, rudest e-mails that I have ever received from someone in an (allegedly) service industry. Cancelled the booking and stayed at the Hampton Inns down the road.

« Good, Location and Breakfast »

Nice hotel, good warm pool and hot tub. Well located for viewing Lake Powell and Horseshoe bend just 5-10 minutes drive away. Close to lots of restaurants. The one bad thing was a fire alarm in the middle of the night - obviously unavoidable but I felt they didn't have enough staff around to handle the situation properly. No-one volunteered information at any stage, and we'd been outside for about 45 minutes before a staff member handed out blankets to children/elderly people, who could have used more looking after! I understand not having many people working at 2am, but there do need to be enough to handle emergencies. Anyway, great place to stay as long as nothing goes wrong, most won't have that experience.

    3
    « A Bit Disappointed »

Our room was to have a view of the lake. We did get a bit of a side view of the lake, but not what we were expecting. There was a bush in front of our window. Our room was just off the lobby and was quite noisy. I like solid surface floors in hotel rooms rather than carpeting as I feel they can be kept cleaner. However, my socks got dirty walking on the floor in our room so I doubt it had been scrubbed for a while. The beds were comfortable and clean. We were warned by hotel staff at check in that internet access is a problem in Page. We found access to the internet impossible from our room. If we did manage to connect, we were bumped off within a matter of seconds. Breakfast was large with a broader selection than you find at most hotels.

« Best included breakfast of our holiday. »

We stayed at Page for two nights as part of our tour of American National parks. It was well located between Monument Valley and Bryce Canyon with the added interest of the close proximity of the dam at Lake Powell. The hotel had the typically good standard you expect at Best Western Plus but the breakfast was the best we experienced of any included in the price of the hotel. The three ladies who ran the breakfast service were pleasant and efficient and provided a good range of hot and cold foods in good surroundings.

    3
    « Good and functional »

In a quiet town like Page, I think Best Western is 1 of the few hotel chains around. We chose to stay at Best Western because it is able to deliver consistency everywhere we go. Not the best, but no rude surprises. Room: clean and big. But there was a damp smell at the area which we walked in. Lighting is florescent white and we didn't like it. Almost every guest chose to eat breakfast downstairs so be there early or be prepared to line up. The best thing is that this hotel has a coin laundry and we were able to do our laundry since we were halfway through our holiday. Tip: if you get a room in the basement, ask for a change. The room window faces the car park at ground level and you r forced to keep your blinds closed for privacy. Overall, I will still recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. Good and consistent

    5
    « Plus, plus. »

This hotel is a gem in the BW chain of hotels. A bright, modern entrance greets you & it feels fresh & clean. The staff are very courteous & hard working in all areas of the property. We enjoyed the Page area so much we stayed an extra night!

« Best Western and NOT the Best Western PLUS next door... »

A caveat...this review is for the Best Western off the main road and NOT the Best Western Plus which is right next door (confusing even to us...the PLUS is next to the Butterfield's restaurant and the Best Western reviewed here is 100 feet across the street from the restaurant; not sure if everything written here applies to the PLUS or if the two hotels are similar...sorry for the mixup). We were driving to Seodna (about 10 hours from Salt Lake) so decided to break up the trip here midway. Nice accommodations and not busy as many reviewers wrote so perhaps we were fortunate (had no wait at breakfast either). The room was clean and the bed comfortable but near the pool so we kept the windows closed due to the noise (lots of yakking in the hottub but everything closes at 10 PM); the room has a fridge which helped keep out items nice and chilled but the flooring is an inexpensive Pergo-like product that wasn't exactly smooth, even curling in spots. But hey, for $91 out the door, it suited us fine. So to the details...look at this place as we did, a place to rest and have a break and not your final destination stop. It's simple and clean and the staff are friendly but this is not a Westin and besides, you're paying a fraction of the cost so keep that in mind. The pictures show the room which is larger than many in Vegas, and the free morning breakfast includes hot sausages, pancakes, scrambled and boiled eggs and more! And you can go back for more so you're really full before your next long drive (they do have people from the street attempt to nab a free breakfast so you do have to wait a bit while they screen for your room and such before being seated). The sunsets are spectacular and touring the dam is so close that you can sneak it in before moving on if you wish to. Golf course is also just across the street if you want to attempt a few holes (we just walked part of the course to get views of the setting sun). Dinner, well, that's a bit tougher...options are few if you want someplace nicer and I should say that is quotes for although you'll be paying $36 for a 6-oz. steak, you won't feel like it was worth it. Other guests told us that the Texas BBQ nearby was cheaper and had good food in a Denny's-like atmosphere (Denny's is also down the hill if you don't want to chance anything). If you're driving then your options increase but we were tired of driving so I'm just giving you what we encountered within walking distance of the hotel (an interactive map is just inside the breakfast area of the hotel so you can get a better idea of distances). We scanned a few places and decided on the nearby Butterfield's across the street and for a steak dinner (dried up rolls, $10 salad, $36 filet, a beer and a glass of wine = $67)...perhaps look elsewhere. The atmosphere was that of eating in a Wyoming bar back in 1978 and made us glad that we were simply passing through. If you can hold out, go simple and wait for breakfast which was simple, hot and satisfying (coffee maker, with plenty of coffee, is in your room). All in all, no need to grumble here...we got a good sleep and found the bed comfortable and the black-out curtains a pleasant discovery. The shower had two heads on it, a first (guess water usage isn't a problem here in the desert). Close to the main road so in no time we were back on our drive, easy in and easy out...and likely, we'd stay here again because they accommodated us when everywhere else was full...nice.

« OK for the price »

This wasn't the best BW we stayed at. It was clean. Staff nice. Probably the best breakfast room we had on our several week trip. The bed was just ok. Location was good. Our room was far from the elevator. Long halls. Probably would select another hotel if we came back for the price we paid.

    4
    « Best Western »

As always, Best Western's are great properties. Was a little disappointed in the location of the room. But not that big of deal. The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had for a free breakfast. They even have someone to seat you. Didn't get to sit where I wanted but, just me being a brat.

    4
    « good stay »

rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Spacious and clean bathrooms too. Free parking around the hotel and plenty of restaurants nearby. The free breakfast is so-so as is the staff. The wifi is horrific. They mention this at reception, blaming the town of Page for the low speed but our devices lost wifi connection fully every few minutes making it almost impossible to even check emails, let alone check sites like Instagram for instance. Not sure if only the town is to blame for this one since internet worked perfectly at a McDonalds just down the road where we stopped for a toilet break.

    4
    « Great place »

Check in was quick and pleasant. Room had been newly renovated which made this older hotel a needed make over. Bed and furnishings were good, bathroom clean and I couldn't get my wife out of the shower! Wow, I want this at home, was her comment. The hot breakfast was hot and more than adequate, would have cost u $10 in a restaurant. Price was a steal of a deal, no wander it was plugged solid when I wanted to stay another night.

    3
« Beautiful town but not Best Western. »

I stayed here in august 2015 for 2 nights. Positive: good breakfast, proximity to Lake Powell and large rooms. Negative: inefficient and inadequate staff (with any question, the answer was "I don't konw").

    4
« Almost worth the price »

I'm biased: I tend to choose Best Western because their standards are high yet they have some individuality. We booked here on hotels.com; at the last minute we wanted another night. The price was more than double. We managed half the rate at booking.com. The front desk staff was wonderful combining the two reservations. The rooms look lovely and are well appointed. The breakfast buffet was better than most. But... for a stated price of $230 for a room, there was lot that just didn't hang together. Internet was out. Microwave was missing. Design flaws were rampant. Parking lot was closed for re-sealing during the day. If we were paying full price, we would not have been pleased. Still a quality hotel, just at a lower price.

    4
    « Could be better »

For a Best Western this place was a bit of a let down. A little dirty, lights not working and a jaded decor. Also part of the bed was sticking out which could have given someone a nasty cut on the leg. Breakfast was good and plenty of it although seating can be a premium at times.

    5
    « Excellent! »

Better than we expected! We got a very good rate for this hotel through Booking.com and had an amazing experience! The breakfast is one of the best we ever had and the room was very comfortable. It is also very well located.

    4
« A very good hotel for numerous reasons. »

We stayed here whilst on a road trip, travelling between the Grand Canyon and Monument Valley. It provides ample free parking. A modern hotel which is bright in appearance and with the exception of a bar, provides everything the traveller might need. i.e. spacious rooms, comfortable beds and bedding, terrific shower in a bright airy bathroom and I must say, one of the best breakfasts I have had in a U.S.A. hotel, marvellous. The Staff were very helpful at registration, but at breakfast a member of staff even offered to go round the buffet with me as I walk with the assistance of a cane! Alas I didn't have time to use the outdoor pool but it did look lovely. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of venturing within the vicinity of Page. It is near to Lake Powell, Horseshoe Bend, Grand Canyon North & South Rims, Monument Valley and 4 Corners, therefore a great point of access.

    4
« An 'okay' experience, nothing to rave about »

Be careful - there is another Best Western right next to this one, you may do as we did and attempt check in at the wrong one. The rooms are fine, clean, basic. Main issue was noise heard from neighbouring rooms and upstairs rooms. Sound proofing non existent. Brekky included in room rate which was nice.

« Nice, clean rooms, but a few issues »

My wife and I stayed here during a recent trip for the Lake Powell half marathon. The room was very clean and nice, and for the price was what I would expect. One complaint, however, was that the shower ran out of hot water, which I would never expect to happen in a hotel. My other complaint was with the staff at the free breakfast. We stopped to eat immediately after our race, and because I was unsure of my room number they were somewhat rude about looking me up by name. We also had a member of the housekeeping staff enter without knocking, which could be potentially very bad. Finally, when we got into our room there was a housekeeping key that had been left. I returned this to the front desk, but found it a bit disturbing, since it can open every room in the hotel.

    5
« Excellent experience for entire group. »

Excellent hotel, exceptionally clean, competent and efficient staff. Room was very comfortable, breakfast was very good too. The only thing I did not care for was being assigned a seat for breakfast. I prefer to choose my own table, not be assigned a table like an elementary school student.

    4
    « Quiet and clean »

Stayed here with a few friends. Although our reservations were messed up the front desk clerk did everything to correct the issue. They include breakfast for registered guest. Walking distance to multiple restaurants. Super quiet and safe!

    3
« Good for the price »

I stayed one night with my family after camping for several days in Bryce and Zion. When we arrived,my mom was itching to take a shower but the hot water was not working. I called the front desk and they said maintenance should have it working in 30 min. Unfortunately it took close to 2 hours but thankfully it did come back on. The rooms look like they have been remodeled recently however the vinyl flooring is already bubbling up and furniture is showing lots of signs of wear and damage. Aside from that, for about $90/night including breakfast, it's still a pretty good deal.

    4
    « Nice enough »

Decent hotel for a night's stay. Weird that there were no rugs... And a window above toilet made the room bright at night. Not good. Breakfast was decent. Bed was comfy. view was non existant. But it did the job for a visit to Page

    5
« Friendly, clean, awesome stay in Page, Best Western AZ »

We had booked hotel for the 1/2 marathon that was being help in Page. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly and felt almost at home. Nice touches with a Keurig machine. The breakfast staff were great. Breakfast finishes at 10am, due to the start of my race I was unable to eat breakfast - walked back into the hotel at about 10:15am, the breakfast crew although had put everything away got out a majority of breakfast items for us runners, with coffee and orange juice. How awesome was that, we and other runners were very grateful. I would definitely recommend and stay here again. View were also spectacular from our room. Great heated pool, can't fault anything.

    4
« One of the better hotels in Page »

We booked this hotel for Page part of our trip. We arrived before the check-in time but the reception clerk found us a room. Check-in a bit slow, due to a high number of guests. We were also charged a "resort fee", which was a surprise cause it's not a resort and not mentioned while booking. It's well situated to visit Horse Shoe Bend, Antelope Canyon, Lake Powell. Breakfast buffet was excellent :plenty of hot and cold dishes, fruits and good coffee. Also, you find many restaurants within 2-3 blocks of walking. Nice big outdoor pool. Parking could be very crowded, but there are plenty of place in the back. Room was clean, mattresses firm and a assortment of pillows for all tastes. Wi-fi at times slow and TV didn't work properly. Still, the price was reasonable, stay pleasant. Recommended.

    5
« Nice Place to Stay »

I reserved a suite with 2 queen beds. The rooms were huge. The main room consisted of a small kitchen (microwave, fridge), a small dining table, and a sofa with a big screen TV, and a hidden closet behind the mirror. The bedroom had 2 beds, a big dresser, and a large screen TV. I traveled solo but this would be good for a family of four or five. The room was clean and I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is surrounded by a lot of stores and restaurants within walking distance and is 10 mins. or so from the Antelope Canyons and Horseshoe Bend. FYI - The wifi in the town as a whole is very slow. My room was in the basement but my windows opened to the parking lot. I had to put a paper clip on the curtains because they did not close completely.

    5
    « Surprised! »

This was the first time in many years that we stayed at a Best Western but due to availability in Page AZ, we thought we would try it. Very nice hotel, great room, fantastic free breakfast, and lovely pool. Perfect location.

    5
    « Excellent Stay »

The Best Western is a modern, well maintained hotel in central Page. The price of $82 was a real bargain. Our room was large, well furnished and very clean. The included breakfast was great with eggs, meat, rolls, cereal and fruit. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend for anyone visiting Page.

    « Super Hotel »

Great breakfast with lots of choices. Comfortable bed and room. Two shower heads with great water pressure. I would definitely stay in this hotel again. I used my points and was pleased with the number, considering the great amenities of this hotel.

    « Visit to Page »

This was a good base to explore the surrounding area, Horse Shoe Bend and rafting on the Colorado River. After and active day it was a pleasure to come back to clean and comfortable accommodation. Had to use their self serve laundry as well which proved to be excellent.

    2
    « Big disappointment! »

We have been travelling for 3 weeks and looking forward to our 4 night stay in Page. What a big let down. We had a couple of issues when we arrived which were promptly sorted, ie no ironing board and fridge not working. However the worse was to come....the walls were so thin we found ourselves whispering so as not to disturb neighbouring guests - a shame other guests were not so considerate..... definitely not conducive to a relaxing stay.

« Good Best Western Hotel in Page near Lake Powell »

The Best Western Hotel at Lake Powell is really a "Plus" hotel. We stayed there for one night during our round trip along Grand Canyon and US west coast and had a really good time. The hotel was new, good designed in a modern style with enough space for a couple and their luggage :-) We had a room on ground level on the backside of the hotel. Our car was parked on hotel parking lot - for free - and the breakfast was totally okay. They had a small buffet with a good variety of food, drinks and juices. If you want to explore the area around Antelope Canyon, Lake Powell and Horse Shoe Bend we really can recommend this hotel.

    4
« Very clean but a couple issues »

I rated this hotel 4/5 because I've stayed in other hotels in Page that are a lot older and not nearly as nice. This hotel is newer and clean. Breakfast was awesome!!! They also worked with me when I needed to change my reservation that I had made with a 3rd party website so I really appreciated that. My only complaints are- we could hear someone snoring all night in the room next to us and people in the hallway. Walls are very thin! The other is there wasn't any hot water for a shower in the morning. My husband and I had just run the Lake Powell 1/2 marathon and were looking forward to a nice warm shower after running such a long distance. Other than those 2 issues, we had a great stay! Staff was very friendly!

« Good for a one night stopover, but nothing more »

+ Room; large, comfortable beds, big TV, clean. + Receptionist; polite, friendly and helpful. - View; straight on to the adjacent grubby roof. - Noise; very noisy from room above, could hear every footstep.

    « Five Plus »

This hotel is absolutely amazing. Very friendly staff. The room was huge with full size refrigerator and stove. King size bed and queen bed. Included breakfast had buffet of hot and cold selections. Best breakfast ever at a chain hotel. If you enjoy hotel breakfasts that are free, this is the place to stay. Wifi was ok but could have been better. Highly recommend this hotel.

« Very disappointing customer service »

Booked King Suite, given standard King room with disabled access As bathroom a third of size of room the room was very cramped Complained to reception who were very offhand and unhelpful After numerous visits to reception they eventually agreed to reduce nightly rate as we were not in room we had paid for I asked to speak to manager but was told she would not be available on either days Bathroom was dirty and did not improve after reporting it No mattress cover on bed and cups, bin liner and coffee not replenished for second day Our stay here was the worst in our 3 days of touring parks and canyons

« Great for a couple of nights. Large rooms. »

Tea/Coffee facilities in room (bring own teabags if coming from Europe-mainly herbal bags served in US!). A little noisy, so bring ear-plugs. Town of Page is lovely-enjoy! Buy your beer locally and use ice-bucket in your room. Much cheaper than hotel. Enjoy

« The first but not the last time at a Best Western Plus »

The hotel was much better than we had expected and was a bargain in a very expensive touristy area. Definitely worth staying here when doing a tour to Antelope Canyon and a boat ride on Lake Powell. The breakfast was the best of the chain motels we have stayed at.

« Bed cleanliness need some improvements »

Me and my wife were there to spend a night, before you going to the horseshoe bend. As it was a last time place to go before finishing our vacation, we paid almost $200 for a night, then we were expecting to have a clean room (at least). However, when we got at our room we noticed that the cover of one of the 2 beds that our room had was dirty (with black spots on it). When we remove it, there were yellow spots in the bed sheet, we moved then to the second bed, but it wasn't clean either. There were yellow stain and human hair on it, which showed us that both beds weren't clean. Then, we called the front desk and at 10pm we were helping the employee that was sent to change our pillow cases and bed sheets. Definitely the cleanliness of the beds need an improvement!

    3
    « No Wifi »

Our stay here was largely ok except there was no Wifi service during most of our 2 nights stay. There's a placard on the check in counter mentioning something about the lack of Wifi in the motel was due to the city of Page. Yet we received excellent Wifi service at restaurants and cafes outside the motel so it couldn't be the city's fault. At this age where Wifi is needed and offered almost everywhere, this is really not acceptable. The staff that services the breakfast room pancake area could be a little more friendly and helpful.

    « BED BUGS!!! BEWARE »

Booked a room almost a month in advance $125/ night (with taxes). Last week, I checked into room # 22 with my wife & kid. The room had reasonably good amenities. However ten minutes into bed and my neck started iching. I immediatly checked the pillows; Bingo, I find this a creepy bed bug; a menance I always dread hotels. I immediatly called up the front desk informing the lady of bed bugs in the room. The lady apologized however she said she can't do much as that they did not have any other room where she can move us into. She called up few hotels around Lake Powell area and told me to book at hotel of my choice with my own money. The last minute rate for a even a 2.5 hotel was a minimum of $225. I was furious at the callous attitude of Best Western and the manner in which they left me and family stranded in the middle of the night. Even more annoying part was while I was packing things up, I got couple of calls on the room phone which never got answered when I picked up. I guess the reception was just trying to check if I had cleared the room. We absolute dread bed bugs because of the pain it could cause if we carried this into our home in Los Angeles. We spent an hour isolating all our exposed clothes and foorwear into separate bags. We used our kids baby wipes to sanitize our bags. Finally at 2 PM in the night, with all my bags I had to check out, drive 3 miles with my wife & son to another nearby hotel, pay through my nose for next 7 hours for a room. It's been almost a week and nobody from Best Western has even made a courtesy call. Horrible experience and worst customer service!!! Moreover, my wife and I had to spend so much time after returning from our sanitizing our car, bags & clothes and now we just hope that we don't find any of these creepy bugs in our home.

    « A diamond in Page »

Very nice hotel. The room was large and the sink area was outside the bathroom which is a plus. Hardwood floors in rooms. Outside pool and hot tub area was nice. Breakfast area was monitored with a huge selection of foods. Very clean.

    « Excellent stay »

Enjoyed a very comfortable stay here. Smooth check in, room was available as requested. Room was large, quiet, and even had a slight view of Lake Powell - what a nice surprise! The morning breakfast buffet was better than average and the staff helps guests get seated and situated without the chaos that I've experienced at certain other hotels. I can't say anything bad about my visit here. I'm pleased to rate it 5 star.

« Pleased but front desk staff could be more welcoming »

I booked this for 1 night for about $160 US on our 1 week Arizona-Utah road trip. The room itself was very nice, with comfortable beds, hardwood floors etc. Page can be expensive esp. in the summer season so we thought it was good value. The staff was so so, not really smiling as it was 10pm when we checked in. I had way better service in most hotels anywhere. But the girl that seated us in the breakfast area was very nice, they do check the number of people in your room before you are seated for breakfast so make sure you register the correct number of people in your party when you check in.The breakfast was solid, though I don't think there was oatmeal which my daughter loves.

    3
« Impressed when we walked into the lobby, but after getting room, not so much »

Like I said, first impression was 'wow', but then we checked out the room. Funky wood grain vinyl floor (no carpet) that was loose in spots....trip hazard. A thin line of scum around the lower part of the shower surround. Hard to see standing up, but sitting on the toilet and looking around, it was obvious that the maids hadn't seen it either. Interesting situation at the breakfast room.....which was very nice, by the way....you had to check in with name and room number. I guess there has been too many people going in more than once. Lots of choices for breakfast and there was an attendant there to cook pancakes to order. The coffee maker in the room was a Keurig (sp?) with 6 of the cups, that was nice. The shower had a double head shower thing attached side by side for what purpose we couldn't figure out....just used more water! No restaurant that was in reasonable walking, so for dinner we drove to a Denny's out on the highway, about a mile. This hotel was quite a bit more than we had been paying on the trip, but still about the cheapest in town. I guess Page being a destination city they can get some extra bucks out of travelers.

    « Location »

Stayed 2 nights while visiting Lake Powel. There are 2 Best Westerns next to each other and could understand people going to the wrong one.We stayed at the best western plus. The reception area is very nice and the recieponist was very friendly. The room was was clean and adequate but no microwave which is useful if you wanted to warm a snack up instead of going out all the time also next to the reception they have a small and very poorly stocked snack shop selling a FEW items like pizza which you have to go to the breakfast area to use the microwave then carry it back to your room. For the size of the hotel the SMALL lift is no were near adequate especially if a large party arrive you can be waiting a while to use the lift. The location of the hotel is good for visiting lake powel etc.

« Lovely hotel, friendly staff »

Stayed here whilst travelling in the USA. The grounds were very well maintained & the hotel rooms and facilities were very good. There was a decent choice at the breakfast buffet too. Very good value overall.

« Great Place to stay »

We have stayed here many times over the last 8 years. Since the remodel last year it is one of the nicer places to stay although there are several nice hotels in the area. Breakfast was fresh and hot. We have found that this hotel does offer great rates at different times of the year.

    « difficult to find »

While on the highway the location of the hotel is not easy to follow or find. There are also 2 Best Western hotels right next door to each other. This hotel is dated in its appearance and there is only 1 elevator for the entire hotel. Parking is easy and it is within walking distance of several places to eat and shop. The hotel rooms and grounds are clean and the staff is amazing, friendly, and so happy to help. They were what makes this hotel worth staying at. The continental breakfast is great and has many choices. The pool is outdoors, not heated and so its cold. But the Jacuzzi is next to the pool.

« Really nice room and breakfast »

Only stayed here for 1 night but was pleased with the room. We were on the ground floor but the beds were comfortable and we slept well. Room had coffee machine and refrigerator which was useful. Breakfast was really good but does get busy. Fortunately we went at the end of the slot and found it ok but I can imagine it gets difficult to find a seat. The hot tub was outside and also nice to spend a few minutes.

« Nice Location and friendly »

Stayed 2 nights close to lot of shopping center and restaurant too. Hotel is newly renovated and 2 queen firm bed , huge bathroom and quiet Air-condition. House keeping staff mostly American Indian. K-cup coffee maker in every room with 6 different k-cup, Small Ref. plus very good breakfast. For check in nice lobby area with few computer and free wifi plus some staffs are more helpful and greeted nicely.

« Great hotel with a few flaws »

We spent two nights here. Overall the experience is great. The hotel is very well-decorated with a modern feeling. The front desk people are nice and welcoming. Our room with two queen beds is very roomy. It has a 50 inch flat screen TV which is a bit luxurious. The continental breakfast is as good as you can get from anywhere (hot egg, sausage and potato, plus ham), except for there probably can be more fruits. Also people say be prepared to see a crowd during breakfast time, we went there around 9am both days and never saw more than ten people, plus the breakfast area is huge. No microwave in the room but there is refrigerator and hair dryer. It's close to everywhere mainly because page is not big at all. The reason I took a point way is 1) our room has this smell of wet towel. We think it's from the AC; 2) the internet during night time is barely working; 3) the toilet doesn't flush very well; 4) the towel rack is less sturdy than a Lego toy...

    5
« Nice hotel in a convenient location »

The room is very clean and quiet. They provide very good quality and variety of breakfast. It's convenient to drive to Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon. This was my second time to stay in this hotel. Definitely will come back again if I happen to travel around this area.

« Excellent Hotel in a Beautiful Area »

The Best Western Plus has very nicely decorated rooms, with modern southwestern decor. The bathroom was clean and had a double shower head. Breakfast: Extra large breakfast room with an excellent breakfast buffet. Pool area: I like the sectioned off areas in the shade, for sitting with a small group. The pool is clean and very nice. Fitness Extra: There is a nice trail, called The Rim Trail maintained by the city of Page, just down the hill from the hotel. It's a great place for a morning hike. Nice view of Lake Powell and the dam!

    « Just 1 night »

We stayed the night on our way to Montana. We arrived late, but I called ahead to make sure the room would not be given away ( it wasn't). The beds were nice but the bathroom could use some work on the walls and baseboards. Looks like water damage. Breakfast was very busy, but the food was plentiful.

« Great hotel in Page »

We stayed at the best western and had a room looking over the Colorado river. What a view! The facilities were good shape and appeared new. We had the end room so Wifi reception was a bit hit and miss but there was a complete in lobby and we just sat down by the pool to update Facebook etc. price was reasonable considering it was Labour weekend. Would strongly recommend to friends and family.

    « Excellent rooms »

The rooms at the hotel were excellent. We were staying for the night and were planning to visit the Antelope Canyon, Glen Canyon and the Horseshoe bend. The location of the hotel is scenic. Although, if you want a better lake side view, they have a separate hotel just 2 mins away. For me, this was good enough. Also, a lot of eating options close by. Plus, the continental breakfast was filling. Overall, highly recommended.

    « Best Breakfast! »

I was only at the Best Western Lake Powell location for the night. I did take advantage of the breakfast which I HIGHLY recommend. I must say with the utmost sincerity, that was the best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. Delicious eggs and pancakes. There were so many options!

« Comfortable, Cool, and Clean »

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel seems new and is very clean. Breakfast was good, however if you don't want to wait in line, you should go early to get breakfast. The room felt spacious and the staff were helpful and kind. The pool was a popular place amongst guests, however when we visited later in the evening, it seemed a little dirty. My daughter and I did not stay long in the whirlpool or the pool because the water seemed a bit murky. Other than the pool, I would give the hotel five stars. I would stay there again. The crowd was quite international. We heard various European and Asian languages coming from the many varied guests at the hotel. Great stay!

    4
    « Good value »

I can't compare this hotel to others in the area but I think the rate is comparable and I consider the breakfast definitely above average compared to others I've had. Laundry (self-serve) was very convenient and pool/hot tub were nice. Page is fairly small and this is blocks from restaurants.

    3
    « Impersonal »

The room was clean, the staff was OK and the location was good. I don't know why I didn't care for it. It was expensive. I think if I found myself in Page again, I'd try to find someplace else. I think the best way to describe it was that it was completely impersonal.

    « Disappointing staff attitude »

Nice room, stayed here on a recent tour we were in our room for an hour after a long day on the bus, my partner flushed the chain and the toilet began to overflow. She rushed to reception to say what was happening there was no apology or rush from the staff . I went back down five minutes later as there was no sign on the water stopping , I went back to the room and managed from my limited knowledge of plumbing to stop the flooding by moving the cistern. My partner then went back to reception and finally the staff came to the room they at no time offered an apology and we're no going offer us a different room , it wax only at the intervene of our tour guide that we were offered a different dry room, Very poor staff attitude.

« Good for family budget »

Stayed 2 nights late August Pros: Good beds, queen size, modern large tv Good aircon Large fridge Great laundry room, sold capsules for 25c each at reception, did all our washing on trip! Good value - breakfast good, nice environment - great for a family budget. Kids enjoyed cereal, pancakes and an apple or orange. Also offered scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes, toast, bagels, little cakes, yoghurt, cheese. Great double headed shower Pool nice to have, hot large jacuzzi Great location to get to everything around Page Staff attentive at breakfast Cons Walls paper thin - bring earplugs if sensitive to noise. It's just people moving about and chatting but sounds loud. Wifi intermittent but at least can sit in room and check mail Breakfast can get busy but signs advising best times to go Plastic smell in room - suspect from new Lino flooring, didn't notice once inside Pool a bit too chilly! Overall happy, breakfast made it great value for a family.

We stayed there for one night. Room is clean and comfortable, breakfast is great. The swimming pool and fitness center is good. Besides, we really appreciate the receptionist Orlando Hernandez who helped us a lot when check in. Only that It is just a little pricy. Nice stay overall.

« Very Nice Hotel With Terrible Wifi »

The hotel has a very attractive interior, and we really liked our room. It was decorated in a very tasteful but cheerful color palette, and the mattresses and pillows were comfortable. A big plus for me was the coffee. They provide Keurig coffee makers and Tully's French Roast in the rooms. The complimentary full breakfast served here is especially good, and I like eating off of real dishes and using regular flatware instead of the usual paper and plastic. The one big drawback is the wifi. It is atrocious. There is no excuse for it in a town this developed.

« Customer trap / Trappola per turisti »

Unfriendly young receptionist , (8.30 pm), many rooms in the basement so called politically correct pool level LOL, the pool close at 9.00 pm. Wifi doesn't work. The worst the queue for breakfast really a madness but good food quality . There are plenty of hotel in Page, avoid this one.

    « Nice Hotel - Miserable Wifi »

The hotel was nice enough, clean updated room, good enough breakfast, etc... I would stay again next time we plan to visit Page. Just have to lower my expectations on the so-called high-speed Internet. The wifi was so slow in the evening, I couldn't get my phone to connect to it. And "high-speed" doesn't even come close to how fast it was on my laptop, more like "sloooow, verrry sloooooow".

« Good choice if need to stay in Page for a night »

Very friendly staff. Rooms were modern with all the standard conveniences; frig, microwave... The room was large, comfortable, and quiet. The only peculiarity I noticed was the flooring was a linoleum type material that was coming loose in places. Very nice breakfast with many options including pancakes and eggs. This is in a good location to walk to many different restaurants. The double shower head was a little excessive for a desert hotel. The pool area was very nice.

« In Page there is not much choice in hotels, BW is ok. »

This BW is ok. There are pro' and contra's, depending on needs and expectations. First the pro's. The rooms are large. We had rooms with 2 queens on our first night. Rooms were on the topfloor, looking out over the poolarea. On our second night we had jr suites with 2 queens. The difference to the standard 2 queens is that it is larger and that it has an extractable (sleeping) couch. Rooms have a fridge and coffee maker. The shower is very good. The outside pool is great, also has a hot tub. Pool very nice for kids. Breakfast is very good for a BW complimentary breakfast. I want to mention Bill as a very friendly and competent person. At reception Orlando is the only one who really knows what is happening. He did his very best to settle our reservation problems, and he did, not helped by his own management and reservation centre. The contra's. Unfortunately, I have to mention the lack of cleanliness. I had the impression, that housekeeping just has not enough time to clean the rooms thoroughly. The roomfloor was not clean, although the floor was linoleum or something, which only needed mobbing, we had dirty feet and socks after walking. The bedlinnen were washed, but still had spots on it. They should have been thrown away. There were still hairs in the bathtub and the mirrors had spots on them. The pool had too few sunbeds, there were not enough pool towels available. The hotel only has one elevator. In my opinion this hotel has a terrible management, personnel is left to its own devices. You can stay here and have an ok stay, but things could be so much better, with little more effort. Last remark: wifi in Page is very bad, so also in the BW hotel. If you need the internet for info or bookings or whatever, try to have everything arranged before you arrive in Page

    5
« Fine location, good quality (with a little glitch) »

The place is fine, while one needs to be aware that the pool level is literally in front of the pool, ie. you cannot pull the curtain or open the window without inviting the entire pool community to your room. There was one problem, handling of an exception (forgotten item to be shipped to the client's home location), that is still not resolved despite of several phone calls, re-providing all my data and credit card number.

    2
« Not worth the money, not up to serve full capacity - and security risk via unlocked back door! »

his hotel is clearly overpriced for what you get, even in needlessly expensive Page. The room uses a vinyl flooring that is loose and gives off - instant dirty feet. Funny smell in the room too (we expect it is the perfume of the soap used to wash the sheets), the four of us found it rather repulsive. The breakfast room is completely inadequate in capacity - putting a plate up saying you have to eat early not to queue is not a solution! The food you get after +20 min wait is mediocre (cardboard scrambled eggs). There is no restriction to reach the swimming pool with your shoes (no sign even). The hotel has only one elevator which again when it is busy is not sufficient. Security issue: the backdoor to the hotel is open even at night for everyone to walk in. You can reach from this door each hotel floor without even passing reception. Totally unacceptable in terms of security! I have pictures to prove. For a Best Western "Plus" at this price I am really disappointed. The staf is kind but quite indifferent and it is clear they have no possibility or intent to try to improve. Would NOT come back, but rather try another one, there are plenty.

« One night stay as part of coach tour »

The staff were friendly and helpful. As the wifi in Page is poor and I was having difficulty downloading to a Kindle the staffer let me use his hotspot! Air conditioning was appreciated with fan/heat/cool settings. The shower had a double head which I found unusual. Comfortable room and bathroom. Two desks and an armchair. Not much of a view from room as overlooked carpark.

    « Horrible Management »

Dumpy place. The staff was friendly and helpful but the manager was rude and non-apologetic about their utilities not working correctly. Tried to blame it on everyone except himself. Sorry, but it's your responsibility to make sure your a/c and water works correctly!!

    « Enjoyed it! »

We arrived very late at night after driving from Vegas. The front desk service was very polite and frienfly rooms were clean and the bathroom too, but there was a problem with drain in the tab - water was going out really slow. except that we enjoyed it very much - we slept on one of the queen beds in the room and fit vey well. breakfast was great - buffet but we ate much:)

« Very clean and close to everything »

Staffs are friendly and the room is very clean. It locates about 5 mins drive from grocery store or restaurants. 10-15 mins to Horseshoe bend or any Navajo Tours. Very convenient location. Breakfast buffet was great too. I would stay there again next time when I go to Page.

    « Was not pleased »

The staff was unhelpful and rude. Any questions I had about the hotel, the town, and surrounding attractions they had no answers for. I was doing some work at their computers they have for guest use which is located right by the front desk. I was there for about 2 hours, every time the hotel phone would ring the girl working the front desk would pick up the phone and hang it up. That blew my mind. I woke up the next morning late. I hurried up and tried to catch their breakfast. When I walked into the dining area there was about 10 staff members sitting down eating pizza. The cereal and milk was still set up. I went to pour myself a bowl of cereal when the staff members sitting eating pizza told me breakfast was over and I could not eat it. They all started laughing and continued eating there pizza.

« Decent rooms made of card board »

We visited this hotel during summer vacation on a trip to the parks in the west. The hotel is well equipped with a good breakfast, fitness room and pool with nice beds to relax. The rooms are large enough and clean, showers are great. However, if you plan to stay here during vacation season, be sure to book a room on the 3rd floor. Besides the noise of screaming kids and following discussions from the room next door, you will not hear every movement that people make on the floor above (but they will here you off course). Pretty decent place for one or two nights.

    3
« No more than average »

This Best Western has been updated in a very average way. They offer monopolies to sleep on...crazy. It is fine for what it is. The breakfast buffet was ok,nothing special. It took my daughter two rooms o get settled into due to dirty bathtubs. They came and cleaned it for them. For an overnighter it works.

    5
« Great Hotel, nice view »

Nice hotel, lovely view. We loved that it is pet friendly! The bed was really big and comfy. I wish we would 've stopped for more than one night. We had a bite to eat in the bar area. It was a little bit of a wait for food, but all in all it was a nice stop on the way to Zion Cny.

« Excellent Hotel but poor internet »

Overall the Hotel was good, the front desk staff were also very co-operative. They provided a very good continental breakfast. Rooms were large and clean. However internet connectivity was very poor. No wifi connectivity was not at all working. When complained to front desk they offered me broadband connectivity on a PC in lobby. There too the internet was hardly working.

« Great room, not so great service »

The room itself was perfect for our family of 5 traveling to Antelope Canyons, in Page, AZ. When we arrived, we got there at what we thought was check in time... 3pm... it was 2... due to the different time zones,(Page does not observe daylight savings time, but the Navajo nation does, which can be right across the street.) So we had to leave and kill an hour before we could come back and check in as they said our room was not available. That should have been made apparent at reservation and somewhere on the website. There is not a lot to do in page(if you are not renting boats for the lake), except pawn shops and bars, so we did so by driving down to Lake Powell and the kids climbed on the amazing red rock formations. Totally worth it. However, back to the hotel. We had a great room, 3 QUEEN BEDS IN ONE ROOM! iT WAS $125.00 PER NIGHT, BUT WE WERE OFF SEASON RATES. Great deal for a room, newly remodeled. however, we verified at reservation, which was done directly with the hotel staff onsite, the room would also contain a pullout sofa bed. Upon check in, the room was spotless, nicely equipped, but the sofa bed was locked shut and missing a foot... We called downstairs and the very young staff manager said they stopped using them and it will be taken out of the room next week. I explained we needed the pullout and it was a decision in the room selection process. She stated they changed the availability in the 2 months that we booked. HMMM. We asked if there was a cot we could have delivered, she said," I can maybe do that in a few hours. " No, my son would like to sleep now, it is 10:00. She did arrive, 10 minutes later, with a twin mattress that does not fold. She literally brought a twin mattress and put it on the floor. Whatever, we are flexible. Went down stairs to do laundry... that little excursion took 4.5 hours as one of the driers does not work and in a very large hotel, there were only 4 washers and dryers each... there was a 2 hour wait inline just to put your clothes in and a 2-3 hour wait to use one of the 3 working dryers. There was a large pool of very angry customers... me included. We went to the small market to get some yogurt or something for my daughter who was hungry... "we didn't get our delivery so we can't let you in to the store, we have nothing." my response, "but I can see the fruit loops, popcorn package and granola bar sitting right there in the window..." "I can't let you in there..." was the "manager's" response. ok, kill some time at the pool waiting for the laundry to dry... The pool area was open, but you had to physically take this huge cover of the 20 person hot tub by yourself and then put it back on... the pool just had "do not cross " tape across it... but we were told it was open... double hmmm... The breakfast the next morning was decent. Hot and typical for Best Western. However, you had to stand in line for about 20-30 minutes to be seated as the seating area is very small and they won't let you through the line to grab something to take back to your room if you don't want to wait for a table to open. The line goes in front of the check in desk in front of the entrance doors making it very difficult for people to come and go. so, to make a very long story shortened... the hotel was good, newly remodeled, but it is ran by 18 year old's, and not many of them. Come to find out, they are constantly understaffed and these 18 year old's have no training or work professionalism. They just don't know what they are doing, and that is Best Western's fault. What could have been a great review,it is not, because of poor training, maintenance, communication and customer value. I would say the hotel itself is moderate in value, but the issues outweigh the benefit. If you want a decent room for a decent price, stay here. Just don't plan on swimming, doing laundry or eating breakfast without a wait. And, bring your own snack food!

I have stayed at other Best Western Hotels, and they were OK. Other than the wonderful Breakfast that is included in the hotel price, the room was a BIG disappointment . First of all the floors were dirty and sticky. We were so tired, we just wanted to take a shower and go to sleep. Also they were sold out as they cater to tours with bus loads of people coming in all the time. We asked for another room and had to start all over again filling out a new reservation. THey clerks were nice and they tried their best to accommodate Also our car was broken into and our $900.00 camera, etc. was stolen. We had to go to the police and fill out papers which took away from our vacation time. Very very upsetting.

« Acceptable priced hotel in Page »

Hotels in Page are generally high priced, but this BW plus at Lake Powell has good room rate at BW hotel site. I stayed at Suite room with two beds with Kitchen, Room was really broad , but breakfast is just average, instant hot cake machine and egg , sausage, bread etc. with 5 minutes driving, there was large Walmart, convenient to buy water and beer.

« Very flashy Best Western - busy hotel, great pool area »

Good location, only a few blocks from restaurants and gas. The front desk was not overly friendly but were helpful when I asked about finding my Antelope Tour locations (easy to find, but no official 'addresses'!). Everything about this hotel was great for my 2 night stay - except the floor of my room clearly had not been vacuumed and there was hair and other things on the floor (not carpeted and dark in colour so things showed up) from the last people in the room. The room coffee machine, which I always use was also not wiped off. Other than that, the other parts of the room were kept well and clean. My room on the 3rd floor was quiet, even though it overlooked the busy pool. The hotel is a large one, breakfast has someone seating you, which worked, sort of to organize. Busiest time for breakfast is around 730 - 8am due to heat people get up and going. Breakfast was great, many options and a custom pancake station and options I had not seen before. No biscuits and gravy though! Not sure if it is a problem in the whole Page area, but I was told at check in the Wifi does not work well (or at all) when it is cloudy - and they were right. Luckily, I did not have to check in on things so it was not a problem for me. As this hotel is large, they host tour groups. It is busy, so housekeeping gets going in the halls at about 8am. I spent a little bit of time at the pool, which is a great area - they have put a lot of thought into it. Many outdoor couches with pillows, lounges and even curtained private areas full of pillows!

« Not up to BW Plus expectations »

We booked this hotel to stay close to the Slot Canyon Hummer Adventures tour we had arranged in the morning (this tour was AMAZING - see my review on that). But this hotel did not meet my expectations compared to what I have seem from other BW Plus properties. When I originally booked, I did so online and reserved a 2 qn suite for my family. We usually stay in suites to give the teenage boy his own space. It was kind of high, but I figured we would enjoy the space. I always double check prices as time gets closer to our vacation and I am glad I did, as the exact same room rate went down by a third. I cancelled my original reservation and rebooked under the lower rate. I had read all the reviews and I knew about the lack of internet in the area, so that was no surprise. I also saw online where they charge you for sheets for the hide a bed in the suite. What??? Really??? Any other chain, as well as any other BW I have stayed with a hide-a-bed has sheets in the room. We had sleeping bags, so I figured my son can use that - I certainly was not paying extra for sheets. We arrived after a day at the Grand Canyon. We were hot and ready to rest. There was a very long line at check in. There were 3 people checking in customers, but at least 8 groups of people checking in. We got to the counter and the girl said she did not have a reservation for us. After going back and forth, she said we gave her the wrong name. DH has Jim on his rewards, but James on his license - she could not figure out that Jim/James were the same (last name was the same). Then she told us that we had a 2 qn room, not a 2 qn suite. I had to go to the car and get my confirmation to show her. Her manager came up and said that we were in the suite the whole time, the girl checking in just did not know it was a suite - maybe better training for this young lady. We got our key and went to the room. It was a nice, roomy room as I was expecting. There was a bedroom with 2 queen beds and a tv and a living room with a sofa, table, desk, and little wetbar area. It all looked clean and suited us fine. We went to plug in electronics and none of the outlets on one wall worked at all. All of the light switches were on, but none of the outlets worked. We decided to order pizza because we were very tired. We tried to order online, but the internet was so slow, it would have been impossible. So we went to call, but none of us had cell reception. (We later found out by our tour guide that only Verizon works in that area- we do not have Verizon). So we went to the land line that is provided in the room and there is a charge to make local calls - Seriously????? We ended up just leaving and going out to eat - again, I am not giving these people any more money. We return from dinner and get ready for bed. We took the cushions off of the couch and the hide-a-bed is ziptied with a note saying out of order. Why did no one tell us this at the front desk? We booked a suite, so you should let people know when part of what you booked will be unavailable to you. What a pitty. In the morning, we got up and went to breakfast. It was so crowded and people seemed to be so frustrated, we left without eating. When DH went down to turn his keys in, he was going to tell the frontdesk about our dissatisfaction. But the lady never asked him how everything was. She simply took his key without looking at him and walked away. No thank you - Nothing!!!!! This is not like any BW Plus we have ever stayed at before and we will never stay here again. There are other hotels in the area that may be better. What a disappointment!!!!

« Not a place I would go back to »

I had three rooms and they all smelled horrible. The Hotel was packed and the service was as bad as the room smelled. If this is the best hotel in page as some say the city is in trouble. The breakfast was not worth the long lines, there is no dependable WIFI, and if you want to sleep get a room on the top floor.

« This is your hotel! »

We unfortunately stayed at the #1 hMOTEL in Page and can only guess it is rated #1 from European or single folks....no pool for kids, no breakfast, no ambiance, but it was very clean, spacious though sparce on furnishings and the owner is very nice. We moved to the Best Western Plus and were more than pleasantly surprised. It is clean, has a luxurious pool, affordable guest laundry, and super breakfast. Rooms were clean, beds comfy and rooms could easily accommodate the rollaway bed I needed. I received a better rate by calling the 1-800 number than the local number, so that is a tip...the rate was actually LESS than the #1 motel

    « Worst Hotel Ever - Don't Stay Here »

We got to the hotel late in the evening, around 10:00 pm. There was no line, so the checkin process was pretty quick. However, when we got to the room, we discovered that the clerk hadn't bothered to activate the keycards. This meant another trip down to the lobby and a wait while another guest was taken care of to get our keycards activated. Who doesn't know to actually activate keycards during check-in? I've never had this happen at any other hotel I've stayed at in over 30 years of travelling! At 7 AM in the morning, there was absolutely no hot water for showers. Not even lukewarm. It wasn't until after 9 AM that we could take a shower and have hot water. A hotel needs to be able to provide hot water at all hours for it's guests, no matter how full it is. This is absolutely unacceptable. Finally, the only coffee available in the rooms was French roast. No decaf was available. I have never been in a hotel where there wasn't decaf in a room, and French roast is so bitter it is undrinkable. It is a coffee that is normally blended with other coffer to make them dark, not served solo. This is without a doubt the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Don't waste you time here, go somewhere else.

    « Disappointed »

I'm very disappointed in this Best Western. We walked into our room on the third floor and there was hair and toothpaste in the sink left behind. The pull out sofa couch bed is very uncomfortable. This morning we couldn't shower because there was no hot water. Plan a head for breakfast because you have to wait in line to be seated. The potatoes and sausage were cold and the yogurt in the refrigerator warm.

    2
« High prices, low services »

During my stay of one night, I got 3 problems; No hot water at 6:30 PM and no more hot water at 5:30 AM. The hair dryer didn't work. When I request a new hair dryer, they didn't do It and I has to request a second time. The window of my room has a direct sight on the wheels of parked cars.

    3
« Took away a star for check in delay »

When I got to the hotel it was around between 6 and 7pm. There was no line and there was one girl at the check in desk. She was on the phone. I kid you not, she made me wait for 15 minutes being on the phone. Now I do not know what comes first for them, a prospective customer on the phone or the actual customer already there to check in, but it clearly wasn't the latter. As for the more important things, the hotel is very clean except for the construction/repairs they had going on in the rooms(refer to pictures). My family was only staying a night so we didn't let it bother us but considering the price we paid I can't help but feel that it was a ripoff. Breakfast is definitely better than average. And fyi there are no adjoining rooms here. I booked two rooms but they were not connected. Pool seemed enjoyable with a little fountain action going on. I wouldn't stay here for multiple nights considering their bad-customer service-like behavior but it was good for an overnight stop. This hotel is more expensive than other ones in the area. If cleanliness is what you mostly care about like I do then this is good to go. Just be aware that at times you might have to wait for the receptionist to hang up for a long time that you feel compelled to take away a star for their lack of assistance.

    « slow wifi »

We stayed one night here, the wifi is extremely slow, looked like the whole area has slow wifi services in Page. Room was clean and comfortable. breakfast was OK, with fresh pancake, but too crowded. Free parking

    4
    « Great Location »

This is a older hotel that has been modernized. And by that I was really impressed with the improvements. I loved that they had tile floors in the room. New tile floors. Now the bad thing about that is your socks pick up everything thats on the floor. The good thing is that you have a clean room before you drag in the dirt. I only stayed one night. We planned on three nights but Page, Arizona didn't seem to offer enough. We did the horseshoe bend, and saw antelope canyon. So we moved on. I'll stay here again if we decide we want to do something on lake powell. Overall a good hotel.

« OK hotel, terrible wifi »

Good modern hotel, little noisy, not 100% clean rooms and thin walls. Have been in better Best Westerns withou a plus. Good to have a breakfast buffet included with on the spot fresh baked pancakes. Pool is nice with great rest area. The wifi sucks and is slow, but thats not why you would came here, so we can certainly live with that.

« Average accomodation. Extreme slow wifi »

We stayed with 4 for 1 night. Room had 2 queen size beds and seperate shower/toilet. Quality of beds:ok. Shower: no warm water during the evening :( Good coffee maker in the room. A lot of noise from guests walking around on the floor above! Medium size pool. Hot tub in poor condition. Good sunbeds. Breakfast was ok! No waiting time when we went there. 10min waiting time by the time we left. Free parking.

    3
    « Good location »

This hotel is conveniently located, easily accessible. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast adequate. We had no hot water in the morning to take our showers, and the front desk was not especially helpful in getting it resolved. We must have been the first to report the problem because we were told that it was not an issue with anyone else. By the time we were told that there actually was an issue and that maintenance was looking at it, we had already had cold showers and were on our way.

    5
    « Good hotel »

The location is very good. Large rooms Large tv (48"). Problematic WiFi (well - they told us in advance that the town of Page has a problem with Internet connection). Good breakfast (Free) with some fruits and no fresh vegetables. There is a Pancakes stand. Comfortable beds. Very good price

« Lake Powell Best Western »

can fully recommed, very good, good location, clean, we only have to wait for check-in to 4 pm. good wifi, a lot of restaurants around the hotel. Recommend to see Anthelope Canyon, amazing :-) good swimming pool inside, very friendly staff

    « Disgusting »

I have stayed here before. This time my room was not clean, bloody hair in bathroom sink, no towels in room. The front desk would not change my room and did not believe me. Disgusted and please go elsewhere if able but I know options are like muted here.

    4
« Nice room in convenient location »

Best Western Plus at Lake Powell is a very nice hotel. The room is nice and clean but price is a little bit high probably during the summer vacation season. The breakfast with variety choice is another plus.

    3
    « Worst Wi-Fi ever! »

The hotel is basically good, but the wifi is so bad! We could barely use whatsup, needless to say we couldn't upload photos. Except of this, the rooms were nice and the breakfast was good with a lot of different dishes.

    4
« Hotel well located close to shops, restaurants in an outstanding area : Magnificient Lake Powell, Antelope canyons, etc. »

Very nice hotel although expensive (full during June), very clean room and bathroom, very nice and generous breakfast buffet for every taste, laundry facilities, pool, large parking lot. Anyway in a four- people room, the sink space was located near the entrance door with no privacy (no curtain) which was rather weird ! We really appreciated the kindness and competence of Jay Kendra, JB and Yesenia with their big smile during breakfast and we support them for a great professional future, they deserve it. Brussels, Belgium.

« Best Hotel on our SouthWest-America trip! »

Well, the pool is not important, if you go to Page to stay in the pool, you're wrong! The hotel is in a strategic position to visit all the many interesting tourist attractions from Grand Canyon North Rim to Monument Valley, to Antilope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend and of course Lake Powell. The quality-price relation is very good. The breakfast was fantastic - but you have to get it soon (before 7.30). Page is a nice town with good supermarkets, restaurants and nice weather. Ideal for a longer stay. The rooms were quiet (many asian tourists which normally are quiet and without family), WiFi ok, Parking at the Hotel, Supermarket and recommended Thai-restaurant) in walking Distance!

Lovely hotel. Clean and roomy. Good location. Just a few minutes walk to the supermarket and restaurants. Very warm and helpful staff, especially when we had breakfast. Special thanks to Joanne and Joy who were very accommodating and friendly.

« Didn't stay here, terrible customer service »

Booked this hotel through Expedia as a non-refundable. Within 5 minutes of booking realized that I accidentally booked for the day I was departing instead of the day arriving. Hotel was completely inflexible on correcting this mistake and said that non-refundable is non-refundable regardless of simple error that was immediately caught. All I wanted was to correct the arrival date, not even a refund. They refused to do this as well. To me, this is not in the spirit of what the policy is trying to accomplish. By the time Expedia could get in touch with the manager the rooms for the day before were now sold out. They still refused to do a refund, even though it is busy season and they would have had no troubles filling the room with 20+ days before I had planned my visit. Expedia (highly recommend) has issued me a refund and they are eating the cost.

    4
« Convenient location, clean room »

We stayed here the night before taking a raft in the Colorado River. The room was nice and clean. The kids loved the pool. The breakfast was good and offered a variety of options. The staff, Kendra, Yesenia, Joanne and Bernita were excellent and very helpful. Will stay again if in the area.

    « Nice Hotel - Convenient Location »

There were a lot of little things that made our stay really enjoyable. The room got nice and cold (a plus in the 100+ degree heat), the shower had two shower heads, we had an in-room refrigerator to keep food nice and cold, the continental breakfast was delicious and had a great deal of variety and I was able to do a load of laundry (wash and dry - with detergent) for only $3.25. We did not use the pool, but it looked really nice and hte people using it seemed to enjoy it. The staff was really nice and the location was centrally located to all of the things we wanted to do in Page. The WiFi is slow everywhere in Page, so come prepared with some patience. We would stay here again if we had occasion to come back to Page!

« Typical Best Western Quality »

We stayed here during our visit to Antelope Canyon and Glen Canyon Dam. As usual, the quality of the Best Western was great. Facility was neat and clean, and the staff was very pleasant. We had a suite for us and our two daughters. It was HUGE! Two queen beds, two chairs with ottomans, a couch, small dining table, and more. Bigger than our living room. Beds were very comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was great. Only criticism is that the AC in the room was off when we arrived, and only the sheer curtains were closed so the room was quite warm. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

« Best Western Plus- more like minus! »

We checked in for one night on the way from Moab to Springdale. When we got to our room we saw it was literally next to a pool lounge chair area where pool guests could look right in and also promised to be bright and noisy with pool activity, especially in the evening. I asked for a different room and there was poor customer service - no "I am sorry the room did not meet your expectations..." When I got back to the front desk for the keys to another room, the young woman who originally helped me pointed to her colleague and said "she will help you..." It really gave me a bad feeling as a guest. The rooms are old with a new sink/vanity but old (ancient) bathrooms. The carpet in the rooms were removed and replaced with laminate flooring however you can hear your upstairs neighbor stomping around - really, really loud. You can hear every move! Someone did not think through how important carpet is to maintain peace and comfort. I wish I had selected a different place. This was highly rated on Tripadvisor but I can't figure out why. If I could have given this a zero I would have.

good structure in a good position, central departure point to explore the various tourist attractions in a range of 150 miles (250 km), would stay there more than 2 nights, best breakfast I had in the USA (but I had it allways between 6.30 and 7.30 in the early morning). Plenty to see near the hotel. The Antilope Canyon is a must (very expensive, though). Various restaurants of all kind and supermarket nearby.

« Best Western Plus, Page AZ »

I have stayed at Best western in the past and have found them a midrange hotel This was a luxury prices and a poorly kept hotel. staff was not friendly. one day out of 3 we stayed they did not sweep the floor in our room, rooms no carpet just fake flooring and it had bubbles in it . I found Page as a whole overpriced and under preform.. consider being outside Page.

« Clean and Good Location »

We were greeted very kindly by the front desk upon arrival (Thanks Philana and Joy). The room was clean - the flooring was a little funky, but overall, the hotel was great. Breakfast was a full and hot. We walked to a dinner location down the road and the evening was very comfortable. Worth the stay!

« Great location. Modern Luxury. »

Rooms were on the small side but comfortable and nicely decorated. Great beds. The pool area with it's cabana's and outdoor couches was extremely nice. No plastic pool furniture here. Loved the pool area. The free breakfast was a nice surprise. Actually had staff seating you at a table. Real dishes and silverware and quite a few hot dishes to choose from. The location is close to all attractions and restaurants.

    « Great for families »

I was pleasantly surprised to get a room with THREE queen sized beds. It was clean and updated. It had a beautiful large vanity and double sink. This would be a fantastic room for a large family. Even though it was just for me and my daughter this time we enjoyed the extra space.

    5
« Very convenient location to the main attractions »

Pros: 1. Convenient location (less than 10 minutes) to Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, restaurants, and Wal-mart 2. Recently renovated 3. Better than average free breakfast 4. Friendly staff Cons: Nothing comes to mind. Enjoy your stay!

    « Best Western, you've earned a new customer! »

This was our second of two Best Western stays on our 2-week trip in Arizona-Utah. We stayed here two nights beginning of June. Hotel is clean, breakfast is GREAT, room was large, beds comfortable, Keurig machine with GOOD coffee (Tulley pods which is what I order at home), and a great pool with cute cabanas. Walking distance to Strombolli's (great pizza!) where we ordered pizzas and salad to go to eat by the pool. Would definitely stay here again and will recommend.

    4
    « Very comfortable room »

A great location in the southwest. The hotel was very well kept up and run. The room had all the comforts of home including wifi. Beds were nice and had the good sleep I was hoping for. Didn't try any food here so cannot speak to that. I would definitely stay here again if in the Page area.

    4
    « Night in Page »

We only stayed here for one night because we had book a tour with Colorodo River Adventure early the next morning. The room was clean and the rate included breakfast. The pull out sofa was not working, but hotel staff brought us an extra bed. It was a very hot day, so it was great that the hotel has a nice pool! The girls from the breakfast staff were extremely helpful!!!

    « 2 Nights in Page »

We stayed for 2 nights at the BWP at Page, and enjoyed it a lot. There was a pool and a laundry and a good breakfast buffet. Lots of people there and the staff was handling all of them well. The only minor complaint was that we got there at 3PM, thinking it was 4PM. The internet service is slow, but they let everyone know that when checking in.

    2
    « No food »

After waiting in reception for an hour we were allowed to check in early. There was no food available at the hotel so we had to walk to the mall to find somewhere to eat. The rooms were adequate, clean and we had a good nights sleep. The swimming pool looked good and was well used. As the hotel only did breakfast and no other meals, we again had to walk quite some distance to a restaurant for dinner. We were also informed that breakfast would not be available as the restaurant had been booked by a party, so off we trotted again to the supermarket for something for breakfast as we had an early start the next day (on a coach tour) All in all this was not what we expected from this hotel, and we were disappointed.

« Woke up by footsteps upstairs in the early morning »

Spacious room with 2 king beds and big traditional heavy furniture. The big mirror door for the closet was inconvenient for open / close, thus could not use it at all. Non-stop toilet flush needed manual adjustment to stop the continuous flow. Bath tub drained slow, so basically bathed in puddle of water. Thin wall / ceiling and poor sound proof as we were woke up around 6:00 am by guests' footsteps upstairs as he / she was packing, sounded like giants walking upstairs; plus the doors opened and closed outside as guests went for breakfast. Breakfast was included with standard food and average variety. Only 1 lift in Hotel but it was extremely slow. Besides, housekeeping staff was using it during morning peak hours (breakfast and check-out). Couldn't use after long wait, wanted to use the stairs but there was no sign of its location. Took us 5 minutes to find it with Reception's direction. Eventually, moved our luggage down the stairs for check-out. Comparatively high rate for this 2-star hotel and it was definitely not worth the value; but too bad there was not much choice in the South West.

« Great place to stay! »

We were here for one night. We requested an early check in, but couldn't get it. However, the hotel stored all of our bags so that we could go out and see the town. The rooms were very nice and clean. The beds were comfortable. The double shower head was fantastic! I wanted to stay there for an hour! The kids loved the pool. The laundry room is one of the nicest I've ever seen as far as motels! I'd give the laundry room 5 stars based on cleanliness and the fact it had AC in the room! Breakfast was also very good. Lots of variety of choices to eat! Pancakes, eggs, sausage, yogurt, eggs, bagels, etc. Coffee, tea, orange juice, etc. Again, comparing to other motels, this hotel is probably the best when it comes to complimentary hot breakfast! Wow! My only suggestion/observation is with the service. There was a lack of warmth from some of the front desk workers. One of the girls (I wish I could remember her name) was the only genuinely friendly worker we found. She was very helpful in recommending places to eat. She grew up in Page, so she also talked to us about places to visit. She even helped us secure a late check out. She alone made our stay there worthwhile. She needs to teach the other gals (including her supervisor) how to connect with guests. The internet is bad in Page. There's a sign at the front desk when you register to let you know it's not the hotel's fault that the internet is bad. It's a city problem. So....I don't think it's fair to complain about the wifi in the hotel if it's out of their control. We managed with the little wifi we got! Everything was great about this hotel. It has free parking, wifi and a great breakfast! I would stay here again.

« everything excellent but the receptionist »

The hotel is very clean and comfortable; breakfast included was very good and the staff is absolutely kind and always smiling. The only exception is one receptionist (whose name i don't remember) who was totally unkind. I suggest this hotel to anyone who is visiting the Grand Canyon area

« Great visit to Lake Powell »

We enjoyed Best Western Plus at Lake Powell. We got to see Horseshoe Bend and swim in the Lake, both of which were close to the hotel. We kept it simple and ordered a pizza for dinner, and then our family of four enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We thought the outdoor amenities were some of the nicest we've seen. It has plenty of comfortable seating and a rustic feel. We like that breakfast was organized, and there was plenty of good food. Great stay!

« Slot Canyon Hummer Tour »

Stayed at the Best Western Plus for one night. Check in was quick and easy. Hotel lobby as well as our room was very clean. They actually included a full breakfast, not just snacks. JB was the host and did an excellent job. He made sure we were seated right away an answered all our questions. I would recommend this hotel if you are in Page Arizona.

    « one night stay »

Good hotel. Only stayed one night so I didn't get to look around much. Pretty much checked in , showered and went to sleep. Bed was comfortable. My reservation didn't show that I had children checking in as well and I was told children above 12 are counted as adults and there would be a $10 fee for breakfast. Even though I booked the reservation myself through AAA through our travel port because I work there and book hotels for members all the time. Somewhere down the line it did not show. When you go to breakfast you have to check in with an attendant who asks for your room number marks you off their list then takes you to a table I thought that was the oddest thing. The area is small so I'm sure they seat people to get the most in. The express checkout is great. They slip you a paper at some point during the night..you read it...if you agree with everything you just sign it and drop it off with the keys when you check out. There wasn't any one in line when I dropped it off in the morning so I didn't have to wait but if there was I did not notice a box just to throw it in and be on my way....so it would not be much of an express if you still had to wait.

    « Great Hotel! »

I stayed here on business and wished I was in town for recreation! This is a great hotel - very nicely appointed rooms and lobby, the breakfast was exceptional, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They have established routines to smoothly handle large crowds that made the stay much more enjoyable. Loved it and will definitely stay here again. Kudos to Dina at the front desk!

    « Needs Improvement »

The three girls at check in were more concerned about their conversation than checking in. One girls parents thinks she looks like a bull because of the nose ring piecing she recently got, I thought she looked fine, I just wanted to get checked into my room. I had to remove the drain plug and hair plug from drain so shower would drain. We booked a room for 5 had to make trips to front desk for more towels and sheets for pull out sofa. Coffee pot plug could not reach any wall socket. Bottled water filling station tasted bad. $290 for a room, I expected more attention to detail.

« Good but expensive compared to other Best Western Plus. »

Stayed here for a night in June. Firstly, late check in - I appreciate website says 4pm check in, but when it's very hot, it's nice to check in a little earlier. Not possible, we had to wait in the lobby for an hour until 4pm. Wifi in lobby is good, in the room, as someone also says in an earlier review "It sucks" - a lovely expression! But it does, it's very poor in rooms. The hotel quote poor local service, if that's the case, why does it work well in the lobby? Maybe lack of investment ? The room, for a Best Western PLUS, was average compared to other Best Western Plus hotels I have used. Expensive, but no more than a good room. Not large, one chair (plus a desk chair). We experienced a lot of night noise from other room guests. Best was breakfast room, and breakfast - I rate very good. Staff were also pleasant. This is a very busy hotel, with queuing at busy breakfast times, for a table. Small pool, but pleasant and clean.

« Great stay at the plus! »

Everything was wonderful! Great location, friendly staff, very clean room, and an amazing breakfast. Huge variety of food, stayed three days and they had so much options, I felt like I ate something different each day. Breakfast staff was very friendly, and worked hard to keep everything fresh and clean. Can't wait for my next stay!

We stayed a night in January 2016 first floor. BW Plus was good. It was easy to come out of Grand Canyon and get back in anytime the weather was not good. Check in was good. Staff was friendly and had service mind. Breakfast was very good.

« Nice place to stay in Page »

This hotel is light and bright, staff is friendly and helpful, breakfast in the morning has many options including freshly made pancakes - one of the best breakfasts I have had at a BW hotel. Bed was comfortable, room needed a little attention. Flooring was starting to buckle - the front desk was informed and said it would be taken care of immediately.

« Pleasant stay in Page »

We stayed there for just one night June 2016. Clean, good sized room with comfortable queen beds and wide selection on the breakfast buffet. The location was right for our Page activities: relaxing in the hotel's pool/hot tub, taking pictures of the Lower Antelope Canyons, visiting Horseshoe Bend, and Smoothwater rafting on the Colorado River. Close to Lake Powell too.

« Great place to stay »

Hotel staff was helpful, our room was clean. Breakfast was great with lots of options of hot and cold items. If you are planning to visit the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, I recommend staying here. Close to the Colorado River Rafting Tour which was also great.

« Good hotel but very late check-in »

After a long drive we were very disappointed not to be allowed in until 4pm even though we had cleared all the paperwork. It was very hot and there was nowhere to visit except the Glen Canyon Dam. From the look of other clients, who were obviously angry at the wait we waited for three hours.Page has no air-conditioned mall to sit in only one supermarket with no shade. Not a good start. However the breakfast was very good and once we had access to the pool we enjoyed that.

    « Disappointing »

After reading reviews I expected a better experience. The floor of the room was awful - cheap "wood" look vinyl that had more ripples than Antelope Canyon. It was dirty, too, as I discovered when wiping up some water. I had to wash my feet before bed because the floors were so dirty they made my feet black. The baseboards were also dirty (and some missing), you could see where the paint on the walls had been partially touched up (because the new paint wasn't the same sheen). The one picture was hung upside down! The elevators were slow, and the overall impression was that corners had been cut for cheapness throughout the hotel, and most certainly in the room. The one bright spot was the breakfast, which was very good. Wifi was awful. They claim it's not the fault of the hotel's router, but then why is it better in the lobby?

Really good quality hotel with excellent service! Great breakfast! Pool area well kept and wonderful to relax in hot weather. Beds very comfortable. Thank you to all friendly staff....we had a great time in Page, AZ.

Lovely hotel in a great location! Really comfortable and spacious rooms. Saw the lake, Glen canyon dam and Antelope Canyon from here before heading off to our next destination. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

« After an early morning photoshoot, come back for the breakfast buffet. »

My family stayed here twice: the evening of March 21st and March 23-25. This was Easter week, not the best time to be in Page specially if you dislike crowds! For the price I paid, this hotel was a bargain. The amenities were good, nice size well appointed room, breakfast buffet was a notch or two better than most hotels. The biggest disappointment was the internet connection. I had faster connectivity with my iPhone compared to the wifi unless you were in the lobby. I later found out through the tour company, the internet in Page as a whole regardless of where you stay can be summarized in two words: IT SUCKS! Apparently, the city has only one internet provider and it obviously needs an upgrade to keep up with the technology that urban folks like me are accustomed to. The location is easily reached, within block from different eating establishments. Parking is a little tight when the hotel was fullly booked during the Easter week. One caveat - do not ever try to check in earlier than 4:00 PM as the front desk will not allow this to happen, no exceptions. We had camped overnight on March 22nd at White Pocket. The wind was gusting 35-45 mph and any item left in the open had grains of sand. We arrived at the hotel at 3:15 March 23rd and requested to check in early as we were so dirty we badly needed to shower. Our request was ignored.

« nice hotel, low internet »

location is great. rooms is clean. only complain is the slow internet. breakfast is rich but we don't have enough time to enjoy it. the elevator area on second floor are so hot, doubt the air condition might be broken

    « Lacking in servuce »

Arrived after long drive to be told they couldn't find our reservation. I had a printed copy and email confirmation. We had reserved a standard King room. After calling a manager they tried to give us a queen room abs when I stated that was not what I had reserved they gave us a King room but it was a handicap room with no luggage stand, closet or hangers. Also no hair dryer. Long lines for breakfast. Noisy room

« Nice and Cozy very well located hotel in Page with Great Breakfast and rooms »

My review is from my experience few years ago i.e. September 2011. Hotel is centrally located and nestled in main Page Market. All tours are easily accessible right outside the hotel (on other side of road). Room was big and linen were clean. Interiors were of little dark background but that added a good pinch of taste in living. Breakfast was superb. Variety of stuff and that also with good taste. Breakfast was very wholesome. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Page and Lake Powell.

« Best Value in Page »

Very modern interior with very friendly staff. Room newly updated with laminate floor and lots of pillows on comfy bed. Small bathroom but double shower head makes up for it. Many, many options at breakfast which is attended by a half dozen or so employees. Lots of seating which is overseen by an employee as well. Would be first choice for hotel in Page, Az.

« Big nice room in a nice town »

Really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. Room had 2 queen size bed. Nice big room, clean and the shower with dual head was great. The breakfast was fabulous by Best Western standards. And I guess the hotel knows this and advertised proudly: FULL hot breakfast. Was on road trip from Las Vegas to Grand Canyon and Page was a great place for a stopover. Do visit the antelope canyon (excellent value tours) and horseshoe bend. Highly recommended to stay at this hotel in page.

    « A good BW hotel »

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for two nights in mid-May for our visit to the Upper and Lower Antelope Canyons there. We did the booking quite early with a good price for the choice of no cancellation. Since we were going anyway, I didn't worry about. We got there very late and got a room at the pool level. The room was reasonable for its size and amenities. The room was quiet although the property was at an intersection; there wasn't much traffic there anyway. The breakfast was included and was pretty good. It was said that it could get crowded between 7 and 9, but it was not bad when we ate there. It may get crowded in summer time. The town was small, and the hotel was on the main street of the town, so it was easy to get to all the major spots of attractions: the canyons, the lake, the Horseshoe Bend.

    3
« Nice hotel, centrally located in Page »

Room was quite large, tv with lots of channels, fridge. Wifi quite slow but this was announced. Breakfast is quite busy, more quiet after 9. Lots of choices. Partly paper plates and plastic cuttlery, not very sustainable. Laundry available, enough capacity. Airco in the room was pretty loud but we didn't really need it. Shavingmirror would have been comfortable. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice, above average. Close to the hotel you can enter the around-Page-trail, which is a really nice walk. Shops and restaurants are all at walking distance. However, it's not cheap to stay in or around Page.

« Are we done yet? »

This is a recently, maybe even ongoing, renovated hotel. The lobby was beautiful decorated. I got to see a lot of it while waiting to check in and be told that yes my room should be ready but its not. I wasn't waiting alone. Perhaps they need more cleaning staff. The room was very clean and nicely done although the ac was noisy and didn't seem very efficient. The complementary breakfast is well stocked and good all though this is the first time I've seen that you have to check in and have a hostess seat you. The wifi is lacking. The staff I interacted with were very friendly.

    « Paradise »

So much more than we ever expected. Beautiful rooms, fantastic pool area, superb breakfast, staff extremely nice and courteous. We stayed here while visiting Antelope Canyon, which isn't to be missed! I just wish all hotels could measure up to this one. A 5 star quality hotel at a modest price.

    4
« Good location, honest breakfast, fair price. »

The hotel is in a very good location, only 20 minutes away from the Horse Shoe Bend and the Antilope Canyon. The rooms are large, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was included and decent, and the front desk was very efficient.

    « Excellent »

Stayed here for 2 nights while exploring the area. Very nice property. Fresh and clean. Terrific breakfast. The best I've seen yet. Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. A few who I especially remember are Dina, Kendra, JB, Fay and Yesenia. All really sweet and cheerful. Definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Page.

    « A little dissappointed »

First the good. The room was OK., clean, good AC. just as you would expect at a BW. Now the Not So Good. the cost was $200. OK. But for all practical purposes there is NO INTERNET, There is a wireless network that seems to have good coverage, but then the internet connection was so slow is was unusable...several minutes to load ANY web page and many timeouts. I never was able to send an email (so I could not get much work done) because either it would time out or they are blocking the outgoing ports. I did not try web based email since the connection was so sloe to begin with. SO if you want an good, average $100 hotel for $200, it is awesome. Just don't expect an internet connection. OH...and the refrigerator did not work.....

Awesome hotel ... Very close to antelope slot canyon tours for upper antelope ! Check in was smooth and hassle free. Rooms are clean , spacious . Breakfast was commendable with lots of variety ! The receptionist was very helpful as we were confused about the timings in Arizona . She updated us about our canyon tour timings as we seemed to think there is time difference ! All in all , awesome place to stay !

    « Top Notch! »

The hotel and our room were very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. They did a nice job on the breakfast, the room was bright and cheery and there was plenty of staff on hand. There are a number of dining choices within easy walking distance. The only thing we noticed and it really was not an issue, the laminate floor in our room was obviously not installed correctly, not flat, more in subtle waves. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would highly recommend this property. Note: Arizona is on Mountain Standard Time but does not use daylight savings as most other states in this time zone do. The tour of Antelope Canyon we took said they use MST. Well, we checked MST time on the internet and it gives you the daylight savings time, therefore, we arrived an hour early for our tour.

« Good hotel let down by breakfast and details »

First the good things. The rooms are good. The location is good. The staff are friendly. However, detail is what differentiates a good hotel from an average one. When we arrived, my requests for type of room did not seem to have been acknowledged. However, when we mentioned them, we were given the correct room. Except that there was no coffee maker in the room. We asked an employee about this, and she tried to find one, but returned to say there wasn't any spare. When we complained at reception, a replacement was found. Then there is breakfast. A notice in reception says you may have to stand in line unless you get in there before 7 or after 9. And they are right. We got there at 7:30 and had to wait until people finished and we were shown to a table. It is like a military operation, with people asking if you have finished every time you get up for food. This is NOT what I want on vacation. I want to amble into breakfast during the specified hours, and choose where to sit and relax. This is what happens in every other hotel I visit. I wish to emphasise that the staff do their best, but why oh why does this happen in a new hotel. If I may be constructive, get rid of all those big tables, and replace them with more tables for 2. I think you will find you get more capacity in the breakfast room. That's all. I am exhausted now, but I will not be returning.

« Slightly superior to the other Best Western in Page »

We were moved here after our booked room became unavailable at the other Best Western. Slightly superior to the Best Western Lake View. Wi-fi is not high speed as advertised - it hasn't come to Page yet so why advertise it. Also logging into the wi-fi during the evening is hit and miss when probably everyone is trying to use it. Rooms okay and acceptable. There are other hotels in Page and this one does not meet the Best Western standard

    « Antelope canyon & horseshoe bend »

My friends and I booked this hotel because We were planning on visiting Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe bend. We flew in from LAX to PHX then drive 4.5 hours to get here. The hotel has a beautiful view of Lake Powell and the dessert. Plenty of parking, there's a coffee and water bar in the lobby, complimentary computers for guests since wifi was a bit spotty in the room. Not far from the hotel are multiple fast food eateries, Walmart, and Safeway. Theirs complimentary breakfast for you in the morning which was really cute. It's cafeteria style. If you're not up For this like some in our group were you can grab breakfast sandwiches at nearby Jack in the box The drive to antelope was 20 minutes or less. Great clean hotel. Would recommend if you're passing through .

Fantastic personnel. Very well trained. Natasha was advised phone and coffee maker not functioning properly. She personally cane to room, showed us how coffee maker worked. Then determine phone was broken and did a trade out. Would have expected a maintenance person to be summoned. Really impressed with her attitude and work ethic. At breakfast, Fay was good at hosting. Very, very wide variety of food choices personnel there to cook waffles. Staff also in breakfast room to direct. One of the best hotels we have stayed in on this trip. Excellent value! Clean room and we'll appointed.

    « Loved this hotel! »

Stayed here while in Page and loved the room, the staff, the breakfast...all outstanding! Great location within walking distance to the Powell Museum, restaurants, shops, etc. The pool area is beautiful. The hotel is kept up so nicely by a host of friendly staff who are very willing to assist with guest requests. The coffeemaker didn't work in our room and was quickly replaced. That sort of thing is so appreciated. Page is a great little town and this is a great hotel!

    « Best Western Plus »

A beautiful new building, very clean and roomy. The cafeteria breakfast was bountiful and fresh with lots of choices. The only problem was our A/C wasn't working well when we got there and got worse as the night went on. We called the desk and they sent someone up at 9 at night on a weekend which amazed us, but he had to leave to get a screwdriver, then returned with a helper but they never did figure it out and just left without saying anything. We opened the window and the door to cool off for a while but by morning it was pretty hot again. The other rooms had below window units but because of the roof construction ours was in the room, maybe it couldn't be fixed. Otherwise very clean and well appointed, would stay there again just not in that particular room.

« Excellent Motorcycling Stop Over »

An excellent and comfortable stop over on a motorcycling part of a honeymoon! We decided to take 3 days in Arizona on motorcycles in the mid section of a 3-week honeymoon, and we chose this hotel as it was a convenient location for this part of the tour and it offered great value for money. A very well equipt and comfortable room, excellent buffet breakfast and knowledgable staff directed us to a good steak house for our evening meal. Highly recommended and good value for money.

« Ideal facilities ideal location. »

Stayed for business. Location was convenient to job and everything in town. Facilities were clean, modern, and included fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker with great selection of teas and coffee. The large hot tub was a great way to relax at the end of the day. Breakfast was excellent and staff was very courteous and friendly all the way from housekeeping to the general manager.

« The Plus in Best Western... »

We stayed here two nights - check in was good - friendly staff. Room was clean and quiet - they have laminate flooring in the room - which was kind of nice. Too often the carpets are pretty well trashed. This looked fresh and clean. This place also passed my wife's AC filter test - the filter was clean. They have a large area for their hot breakfast - you are seated as you would be in a restaurant - timing is everything... if you get in early you are probably good - if you try to eat between 7-9 you might have to wait a few minutes. Nice selection of breakfast items. The wifi is terrible - slow!!! They have an apology sign when you check in - something about Page not having fiber optics...it was very slow. Other than that, it is a nice place to stay.

« Friendliest Hotel in the West!! »

My husband and I spent three nights in Page at this Best Western. Great hotel - clean and breakfast assortment was wonderful and a great way to start the day. The best part of the entire stay was the friendliness and courtesy of the girls at the front desk, housekeeping and breakfast staff. They were always helpful, smiling and extremely friendly. I recommend this hotel!!!

    « Everything but Internet »

This is a first-class hotel, but when my husband and I spent the night in April during a tour of Utah national parks, we were disappointed that the internet service was not working. We had excellent service from staff recommending dinner and recreation options, clean and super comfortable room, plus a delicious fresh and full breakfast in a pleasant dining area, all at an amazing price.

    « A great surprise! »

There are 2 Best Western in Page, they are very close one to the other. The Western Plus is a great choice. The rooms are clean and big. There is a service of Laundry available for the guests. Pool and whirlpool outdoor. The breakfast is very good, with a lot of choice of cold and hot food. The hotel probably has been recently rennovated. Great choice in Page, AZ

    « Remodeled - well somewhat »

We spent a weekend at Best Western Plus in Page Arizona. Thanks to Booking.com we could have a suite for the price of a normal room. The room was very large, it occupied a corner of the building, so we had a light room because of windows at two sides. The suite was remodeled, though not brand new. The beds were new, the stand with the lamps were and the floor was new. Thank heaven, no more carpet - with all the nasty secrets hidden in them - but a smooth floor. The rest was definitely vintage: the refrigerator, the sofa and especially the bathroom was old style. All'n all we thought the suite was okay. The most notorious Tripadvisor issue of this motel is the breakfast and its breakfast room. I read here that there are supposed to be too many guests for this size a breakfast room. And that you have to wait to be seated (after spending some time in line). We did not have wait at all and were not overwhelmed at all by the crowds. There was a nice atmosphere and no rushing at all to get your food. What is offered, is average, exactly what you can expect from a motel that offers breakfast. A special mention of JB, who is a very nice and friendly person and works his b*tt off to customize everybody's pancakes with fruit and other extras!

    4
« Very nice hotel, great breakfast »

Stayed here one night after a backpack trip in the slot canyons. It is a very nice hotel. The breakfast is among the best I have seen in a motel. Convenient location. The front desk was a little sketchy in their knowledge, but it was of no matter. Beds are great.

    « Good overnight stay »

I stayed at this hotel as part of a tour in America during August 2015. The hotel had recently been renovated to a high standard and the furniture was clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a very good location for attractions such as Antelope Canyon and Monument Valley.

    « Excellent accomodarion/Friendly staff »

The room is excellent and clean, breakfast is good and the staff is friendly and accommodating will be back to the same hotel again. Special mention to the front desk clerks they really help as a lot.

« Nice room, friendly staff, good breakfast »

We enjoyed our stay at Best Western at Lake Powell. I would say it is one of the better hotels in the area. The breakfast area, food and set up was better than expected although it would make more sense to have more than 1 employee serving as busser and hostess. The bed and room were comfortable and clean.

    3
« OK property, but no "Plus" »

No advantage over a standard Best Western Hotel. Our closet door was broken, and hopelessly entangled in the curtains that were awkwardly placed too near the closet. The hotel said they could not provide a small 2nd waste can (for a suite?). Breakfast was standard unimaginative fare, with poor quality fresh fruit and hard boiled eggs that had been dumped out of a bag. The rooms are very noisy, so get the top floor unless you want to be awakened by footsteps. Towels are very rough - like sandpaper. Internet is EXTREMELY poor - it's only usable mid-day in the lobby.

    5
    « Amazing view »

Room was adequate. I did not care for the wood floors...felt gritty all the time. But the closeness to antelope canyon and the dam were appreciated. Breakfast was ok. Staff were outstanding and extremely helpful. Big John's texas bbq is a must.

    « Worst Western Minus »

We have been very happy at every other Best Western that we stayed in. However, this was a nightmare! The room (Room 208) was not cleaned before we checked in. We found a cockroach in our room. I killed it and showed it to one of the clerks at the front desk. The sink was backed up. There was woman's hair all over the sink counter and one on of the pillowcases. The deadbolt for the door could not lock. The clothesline dispenser in the shower was broken. We were moved to another room (Room 246) that evening. We could not sleep at all as the people in Room 346 directly above us kept walking back and forth all night. The floors are linoleum, not carpeted. Music was playing until after 1:00 AM. The music started again at 6:00AM. We were told that the front desk people would find us another room. We had to move out of our room at 7:00 AM and we were not able to move into another room (Room 343) until 11:00 AM. We were given a mere 20% discount due to the noise issue on our first night there. We didn't sleep the entire night. We always stay at Best Western whenever possible. This hotel has earned the title Worst Western Minus.

    « Excellent hotel »

Travelling around Arizona for last 2 weeks, different hotel every night - most OK, a few terrible - but this hotel was simply gorgeous. Efficient check in, sumptuous beds, amazing shower. We liked the separate vanity sink unit inside the main door area as it means we can both get ready without holding up the main bathroom for longer. The bedroom is so spacious. What a varied breakfast, lots to choose from. We lost our car keys and reception staff were so helpful. Well done Best Western!!!!

    « Psychic Management »

I was booked into this hotel as part of a tour. Upon arrival the tour party was informed that no breakfast facilities were available to tour parties and nor could breakfasts be purchased. When querying the reason for this our tour guide informed us that this was a situation which had been argued about for about the last two years. We were told that if we wanted breakfast we could either eat at one of many places in town or go to the local supermarket to purchase whatever we needed to eat in our room. The manager of this hotel regarded tour visitors as "messy". This explains why I chose the heading as the manager obviously is able to distinguish between messy tour visitors and messy individual visitors. What better way to encourage a mess in a room than to invite people to bring in their own food with its attendant packaging and waste. When one has been travelling on a tour and arrives tired and in need of relaxation the last thing one needs to be faced with is this bigotry. Astoundingly when one reaches the room you open the door and you are immediately faced with the washbasin inside the door. The bathroom being occupied by the bath/shower and toilet. Its surprising that the designer of these rooms didn't place the toilet and bath next to the beds to make maximum use of room space. The walls of rooms are not sound proofed as there is the tramp of overhead footfalls accompanied by the flushing of toilets in the next rooms. I assume we were given cheapest rooms because we were tour visitors! The photos on the company website are of those of the higher rates and not of those at lesser rates. May I suggest thar the manager of this hotel remember this critisism because when his/her management start to pressurise for increased revenue, (which they will, believe me), he/she does not turn to tour operators for support as they will have long gone to better services.

« Good base for Antelope Canyon & Monument Valley »

We booked this hotel as a base to visit Antelope Canyon and Monument Valley. There is also Horseshoe Bend and the Glenn Canyon Dam to visit. The hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was clean and quiet. Our room was on the third floor with a view of the mountains (rear of hotel). A hot breakfast buffet is included which is good. It can get a bit busy at breakfast - we went a little later (8.30) and did not have to wait for a table. The wifi was ok during the day but slow at peak times (late pm early evening). People we spoke to in another hotel had the same experience - so believe this is a Page issue rather than a hotel issue. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good value and good hotel and is recommended.

    « Great Place-Great Location »

Best Western Plus at Lake Powell is a great hotel. Affordable, clean, comfortable, friendly staff and with a free breakfast buffet it only makes a great property even better. This hotel is close to many of the sites you won't want to miss, Slot Canyons, Lake Powell, Glen Canyon Dam and Horseshoe Bend. Best Western Plus at Lake Powell also makes a great base camp for a trip to Zion Nation Park in Utah. I would definitely return to this hotel!!!!

« Good hotel, grumpy staff »

We used Page as a base for exploring a few National Parks and stayed here 4 nights. The hotel was nice and clean and our room was well equipped for our needs. It was very handy that there was a laundry available for guests to use. The location was good, we ended up walking to the surrounding restaurants for dinner. The staff could have been a bit friendlier, but it seems that most people we encountered in Page were a bit grumpy (maybe they hate tourists?). The breakfast was a bit of a fight, if we didn't go first thing in the morning. We usually were there early enough to get a table and the food options were really good, however one morning we were a little bit later and had to go back to our room and return later, as there were no available tables in the restaurant and people even used the lobby seating areas for having their breakfast. Overall, it was a good choice for staying in Page.

« View from the Top »

The hotel is in a good location and in all respects, one of the best in the our 12-day journey across the US nacional parks. He had the best breakfast, even some fresh vegetables and fruits. Rooms are large and well equiped with all the necessary equipment. Price is favorable for the Provided quality. In the immediate vicinity of the famous Horseshoe bend of the river Colorado,Lake Powel is close and Monument Waley and some Canyons

« Busy Best Western - comfortable and clean rooms »

We arrived at the same time as one of the many regular tour groups that were checking in just before us. The front desk clerk handled the crowd as efficiently as possible and then made sure we had everything we needed, understood about the really slow Wifi (a city wide issue), when the best times to go for breakfast were and where to find a fabulous Mexican restaurant nearby to have dinner! The morning breakfast was very popular and a very good quality - with pleasant staff handling the morning rush. Checkout was an easy process. I would stay here again if I found my self in Page AZ - knowing that booking ahead is a really good ideal knowing how busy this hotel can be.

« Lovely rooms, free well stocked breakfast, excellent location. »

A relief to be at a Best Western where the rooms were very well appointed, clean and spacious. There was a very good 'free' breakfast which was very busy and sign indicated if you wanted a table be there between 6-7 AM even though it was a large room. There were many good restaurants in the town of Page.

« Excellent value for price »

The hotel offers great value for the deal we got. the rooms were spacious and fairly well furnished. They were impeccably clean. The only issue we had with our room was that the vinyl flooring had bubbled in the middle of the room, and we tripped on it a few times. We ended up moving a chair over the bump to prevent future issues. Breakfast was good, better than any free breakfast I've had in other hotels. As others have said, the wifi wasn't great, but we chalked it up to the fact the hotel was full the day we were there. As soon as people started checking out the next morning, it was perfect. Service was ok. Efficient, not overly friendly, but we arrived at the same time as a busload, so not sure if this was the reason we were brushed off rather quickly. This is a great value-for-money place to stay if you're visiting Horseshoe Bend, Lake Powell or Antelope Canyon.

« Good place to stay. »

This location has very nice views of the cliffs near Lake Powell. The pool furniture is of high quality and has shade from the afternoon sun. The breakfast service is very good and the food was delicious and better than most free breakfasts.

« Nice rooms, good breakfast, nice pool and hot tub »

This was a very nice place. Staff was friendly and helpful. They had a good breakfast buffet. Just fyi, this was the first hotel on this week long trip were they asked for our room number. Our room was a dormitory style room with three beds. We didn't need that big but it was a better price. There was a double shower head which was nice.

    « Great Property But? »

Nice new property but has some issues. My bed in room 243 was the noisest bed I ever slept in. Every time I moved it creaked.Morning buffet was exceptional BUT I object to being told where I will sit. There is NO water of course so why am I directed and escorted to a table that I don't prefer? If this is hotel policy, I shall NOT return. Sound proofing between floors not good. I heard the people in the room above walking across their room. Smoke alarm missing from ceiling of room.

« Bad first impression but turned out pretty good »

When we tried to check in a little early at 2:30pm, our room was not ready. Also, the person at the front desk seemed exasperated by every question I asked her. She did not explain things well and did a little sighing and eye-rolling. I was pretty annoyed with her treatment of us and prepared for a bad stay. But the hotel was actually OK. The rooms were nice and clean. We stayed in an excellent family suite with three queen beds. We also found the hotel to be very tightly controlled/managed. You had to wait to be seated for bfast. You had to ask to be served granola, oatmeal, or pancakes. This is different than other self-serve bfasts that we have done. When we asked for more towels, they counted them and made us sign something. But overall, the room was nice and comfortable and I felt the prices were reasonable with a bfast included.

    « Great breakfast »

Rooms are spacious and the best choices in breakfast. The best breakfast in a while. They really had everything. Finally had a bed I could fit in (I'm 6'4") without my legs hanging over the foot end. Shower had good pressure and nice and warm. The only bad thing was the speed of the Internet during peak ours, but that's NOT the fault of the hotel.. The entire village of Page has this problem. Time for some fiber? It's 2016. Some cell reception would be nice as well. Again, not the fault of the hotel

    4
    « Nice hotel »

The hotel was nice, it was modern, the town of page was rather nice overall. Very comfy beds, good breakfast was offered, all at a good price, wifi was terrible and didn't work but it had began to storm at night and the town is very remote. That more than Likely was the cause

    5
« Great place to stay »

Great location in Page, clean, good size rooms, good breakfast buffet, great service. Close to Lake Powell and Antelope Canyon. We also took a trip to Grand Canyon south rim from there. Highly recommended.

    3
« OK hotel with useless wifi »

They have notice on the lobby explaining why the breakfast line could be long and why wifi would be slow. What I didn't expect was how bad the wifi is. Between 7:30AM and 8:30AM, vast majority of the pages I was trying to load time-out. They blame it on the lack of the fiber connection in the city. Well, my LTE connection is still fast and it requires landline backhaul. If the issue were due to the lack of the fiber, then LTE would have suffered too. Other than the wifi issue, the hotel is quite good.

    4
« very good hotel, great price »

Very nice hotel in a good location, easy walk to restaurants and supermarkets. The rim trail was right around the corner. Rooms were very clean and nicely furnished. The breakfast buffet was very good. Especially for the price we paid (I think it was around 45 $ / night) it was a great bargain. Staff was nice. The only negative point I can think of is that we could hear the guest above us walking around, which was annoying. Pool area was closed as it was February and we did not use any of the others amenities.

    3
« Breakfast Shambles and Terrible Wi Fi »

This is a Best Western Plus and so one expects a good hotel but this was a disappointment for a few reasons. The hotel looks okay and has a nice reception area. However I noticed a sign at check in saying you should arrive at breakfast either early or late or else be prepared for "long lines". That sign said to me that rather than fix our breakfast capacity problem this hotel expects our guests to work around our inability to provide an appropriate breakfast service. Our room was spacious and clean but as soon as walked in we saw that the door to the wardrobe was open and off its runners. This must have been obvious to the cleaning staff but apparently went unreported. The other problem was a very very slow and unacceptable wi fi service; not only could we not surf the net but emails took minutes to download. When we did arrive for breakfast at about 8:00 am we were confronted by a long line, as predicted. The line moved at a reasonable speed but we waited for about 5/6minutes. When we arrived at the desk we were told there were no tables available for our party of three but we could have two tables for two although they were not adjacent to each other. This was not so bad but really breakfast service should be much better. The selection of breakfast items was good. I submitted a survey to the hotel and got a standard apology email by return however the email said nothing about my specific comments so rather than make me feel that the management was listening it just made me feel they don't actually was to respond to the issues raised which doesn't encourage a return visit.

    « Lake Powell fishing 2 »

We stayed at this motel in Oct. 2015 and was well satisfied then as now. This property caters to tour groups. So a bit of patience is required, breakfast is truly a "league of Nations" experience and fun. The staff is great and handled the morning crowds very well. Page itself is getting quite pricey so expect to pay more for everything, especially in season June through October.

    1
    « Terrible hotel »

Stay away from this hotel. Rude staff. Disgusting rooms. The hot tub had whitish/green water - fortunately the water was cold so nobody was in it. Found several hairs in the bathroom. You have been warned.

« Great View, Friendly staff »

We spent a couple of nights at the Best Western Plus in Page, AZ while we were in the area to visit antelope canyon and horseshoe bend. We were very pleased with the accommodations. Large room that was very clean, friendly and helpful staff. They made recommendations for meals in the area general directions for things to do. The free breakfast was nothing special but solid...plenty of food that they kept fresh. The only drawback for us was the lack of laundry facilities. We were on a two week vacation and had planned to do laundry at the stopover here rather than pay the extortion that Las Vegas hotels charge to do your laundry. We ended up at the local laundromat so it all worked out. Internet was present but slower than dial-up from the 80's

    4
    « Comfortable Stay.. »

Good location for a trip to Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend and Colorado Discovery rafting. Room was clean and I love the selection of Keurig coffe pods provided daily. Breakfast was good but the breakfast area was too small for the number of guests so it's always crowded even between the hours of 6:30 and 7am which was the recommended time to have breakfast in order to avoid long lines. Laundry room was adequate, however it took a lot of coins and time to dry the clothes. Not sure if only one dryer was like that.

    « Satisfied »

I am not sold on hotel rooms without carpet. There is just too much noise from above. This chain needs to seriously reconsider this decision. However, after staying at sister property the night before on the ground level and getting practically no sleep at all, I checked in specifically asking for the top floor. I came in as soon as I checked out of the "Lake Powell View" property and was assured I would be accommodated. I was and I happily slept in almost missing breakfast. Breakfast was better than most "included" breakfasts, but nothing to write home about. The room was clean as was the rest of the property. The bed was comfortable with nice linens.

« Great hotel for the price »

This hotel was amazing for the price!! I was thinking that it would be run down and give this germ-a-phobe nightmares bc the rates were so cheap. My husband and I were on a low budget road trip so I booked this hotel. What a wonderful surprise, it was very clean, very nice and didn't freak me out at all!! We will be referring this hotel to all our friend that are planning on taking the same road trip as us. Breakfast buffet had lots of variety and great food. We will for sure be using Best Western Plus hotels in the future!! Thanks for an amazing time!! Only complaints were that the Jacuzzi jets and the wifi sucked. The jets were more of a fountain shooting in the air than a jets and the wifi literally never worked unless it was 1pm when all the tourists were out of the hotel. Bummer on that part but hey....this was an amazing hotel for the very cheap rates.

Very modern, stylish hotel. Nice pool. Good laundry facilities. Overall, nice stay, but a minor caveat was that while the breakfast was fine, we had to wait in line to be seated due to the large number of guests.

    « Problems to correct »

We ended up staying in the Exec. Suite, it seems that all the floors will be covered with cheap flooring. Our room was awful. The adhesive had not been put on many parts of the floor so it was vey ripply, very irritating to walk on and very noisy. The living room is hugh so it really shows the wavey floor. The light above the microwave didn't work, also the lighting is so little that at night you can hardly see, let alone try to read.. Two nice chairs in the bedroom but no light to sit and read. The view out the window was awsome, the only good thing I can say about the room. Have stayed their many time but will not stay there again. Room was to pricy for what you got. Hope other Best Western goes for that kind of flooring as I will give up my rewards points and nove on.

« Highly recommend this property! »

Great location, great service, and great hotel. Walking distance to restaurants and tourist spots for Antelope Canyon tours. Very clean and comfortable, and breakfast was great quality--much better than many other hotels of a similar price I have stayed in.

« Best Best Western I've Stayed In »

Hotel was great! The lobby was chic and had great wall art - photographs of Antelope Canyon. The rooms were well appointed and clean. Wifi was not that fast but there was a notice about this at the front desk. It was okay, I've had worse. Computers and printer available for free use in the lobby. The breakfast selection was very good and included hot items but the seating was limited so go early or you'll have to stand in line for 20-30min.

    « Pretty good »

Pretty good standards, rooms are well appointed, large, clean and comfy. Breakfast had a decent variety. I enjoyed the fitness room! Staff is friendly and helpful. 2 issues to work on: -internet is really S L O W (they say it's the city infrastructure but when we go to the bar next door, it was way better) -noise isolation, we could clearly hear everything from the next rooms which was kind of uncomfortable. Still an overall good experience and value. :)

« Three stars any where else, four stars for Page »

This is one of the best motel margins in Page. In the month of April, we paid $90 a night which included breakfast. The room was small, but well appointed and clean. It reminded me a bit of a Hampton Inn, but lacking a few things that Hamptons feature. This is a good choice for Page. Breakfast had a good variety, but as is the case with most chains, the scrambled eggs were terrible. By the time I was seated, the eggs and sausages were cold. There is yogurt, cereal and some pastry. The only fruit was tasteless pineapple. The bed was comfortable and the TV was a nice size and included most of the favorite channels. The WIFI is virtually non existent. It worked off and on and was s-l-o-w! Bottom line, if you don't like the breakfast, an Egg MacMuffin is just down the street!

    « Excellent »

Great hotel, great service, breakfast buffet got a little crowded in the morning, but it was an overall great experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone that visits Page/Norther WZ/Utah.

    3
    « Great Value »

Busy hotel! Had to wait in line to check in, but check in was pleasant. They have signs explaining the free internet access is slow based on the area (Page only has 3G cell service) so we didn't even try it. They also have a free breakfast that they explain gets busy after 6:30. They do their best to control the crowd even seating guests like at a restaurant. The breakfast is pretty nice if the wait works for you. Our room had tile rather than carpet, which I am a fan of, however, the cleanliness could still be better. Still have to sweep those floors even if it's not hidden in carpet! The rate cannot be beat!

    3
« Mostly excellent but with some significant problems »

The physical room, lobby, and breakfast spaces were excellent. Breakfast quality was amazing, the best we had on long trip. We had two major complaints: (1) near constant lines for front desk and breakfast during key time periods and (2) very slow often unusable wifi. The hotel posted warnings about these two issues at the front desk. That helped a little, but if we had been warned ahead of time we would have picked a different hotel. Be prepared to wait in line for check-in or for any front desk services. Also arrive at breakfast before 6:30 or after 9:00 am to avoid potentially long lines. If you need wifi, then go to another hotel (even the computers in hotel lobby which were offered as an alternative were rarely available when we checked).

    3
    « Nice Hotel...Some problems. »

I reported problems with housekeeping, desk clerk issues in checkout, and ridiculous seating rules at breakfast that required everyone to sit like sardines in the middle of the room even though there were many tables empty. Many guests were not happy. The breakfast would have been great, had I been able to breathe and enjoy it, but it was completely uncomfortable, so we got out of there ASAP. If enough people will complain, perhaps changes will be made. For now though, I recommend staying elsewhere.

    4
    « Great visit »

We were very pleased with our short stay- staff were helpful, rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast was busy but food was excellent and facilities great. We would return if the opportunity arose again.

    5
    « Large family trip »

Nice, friendly staff. Large, clean room. GREAT breakfast, however, of you are not down to eat by 7 am prepare to wait for a table. Overall very happy with thos budget friendly hotel. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

    5
    « Great Value »

Unbeatable value. The free breakfast was great, and it is just a minute or two minute drive from all the restaurants and fast food. Very close to the Antelope Canyon tours as well as horseshoe bend. No complaints at all, the staff where nice and very accommodating. The double headed showers felt amazing after a long day trekking around the desert. Would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Page. Highly recommend. Wifi was a bit spotty especially as more guests check in but cell service LTE worked fine.

    5
« One of the best hotel experiences we have ever had »

Clean, safe, beautiful location and excellent breakfast. We will certainly stay here again if the opportunity presents itself. A great, great value for the price. We may try and stay an extra night or two next time.

    « Enjoyed our stay »

We definitely enjoyed our stay. Check in was quick and informative. They indicated breakfast often resulted in line ups a certain times so come early. The breakfast included hot items - sausages, eggs, pancakes. At check in they also indicated the Internet was slow and so it was. Loved the spacious room and the bed. Loved that they had two luggage racks. Will definitely be back.

« Nice hotel and choice for page »

Recommend hotel. Clean, large and comfortable room. Nice Breakfast-walking distance to excellent restaurants. Good value for the area. Recommend El Tapatio-what a friendly staff, excellent food, large portions.

    « Eh... »

We checked in and were not super impressed right off the bat. The young woman at the front desk seemed to have no idea how things worked, and couldn't really answer any questions about room charges, etc., which was surprising. It was loud, not super clean, and the room was not very comfortable. The beds were average at best, and the blankets and pillows were thin. The saving grace that gets this hotel an average review instead of a poor review was the breakfast. It was a really nice setup, and the breakfast area was large and very clean. Good for hungry families.

    5
    « Vacation »

This was the best of all the Best Western that I have ever stayed at. Very inviting, and clean. The breakfast offerings were served at the right temperature, and plenty of choices. It was better than places were I have paid twice the price. If there was an overall rating higher than five stars, I would do it.

    5
    « Nice Stay »

We stayed here on travels to Page, AZ for a trip to Antelope Canyon. Nice, remodeled and well maintained facility in good location. Bed was very comfortable. Double-barrel shower head was a welcome treat! Room was missing hair dryer and b'fast seating area wasn't large enough for the crowd but overall a nice stay. I would definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to friends planning to travel to Page.

    4
« Good Value of Money »

The price was reasonable. The room was clean. Free breakfast was provided. WiFi can be not so good at a time but the free internet and printing service at the lobby was very useful. Staffs were polite and hardworking. Overall - satisfied with the stay.

    4
    « Very nice facility! »

Was pleased upon arrival at the hotel. Prompt check in and had noted my request for the top floor that I had placed in my online reservation. Room was updated and clean although the laminate flooring was buckled in a couple of spots. Breakfast was good although the woman in front of me found a hair in the sausage. Lots of hotel choices in Page but this one was pretty good.

    4
« Good value for the cost- Very popular »

This was a good value for the cost. However, due to its reasonable price it was crowded. Breakfast in the morning was unsupervised and without hotel staff direction which let to guests becoming rude and inconsiderate. It was a free for all. The beds were not comfortable either but not any worse than other hotels I have stayed at in this price range.

    5
    « Best Breakfast Ever »

Nice clean room at a great price. Throw in the best breakfast that I've ever seen at a complimentary set up and this place was perfect. Able to go to the Lower Antelope Canyon tour rested and on a full stomach

    3
« Everything but Internet Service »

This hotel is typical of well-run Best Western hotels and is a good choice, unless you want to use the Internet. The Internet service here is so awful that a placard has been placed in the lobby area blaming the lack of reliable high-speed internet on the remote location of Page, AZ! I found reliable and fast Internet at two area restaurants during my stay. The hotel would be better served by fixing the problem instead of trying to deflect blame.

  • 3
« Standard Best Western in Page, AZ »

This is slightly above hotel than the average Best Western. Room are large and comfortable, even if the bathrooms are probably a bit tiny. Every room comes with a good complimentary coffee and a huge television. Room are a bit noisy, probably because walls and ceilings are thin. There are some issues with the wifi, which is slow. There is a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a outdoor hot tube open year-round. Breakfast is good, with a good choice of hot and cold food, either sweet or savory. Do keep in mind that the breakfast room gets very busy at 7AM: there is no seating for everybody. Get there by 6.30AM if you want to enjoy a quiet meal.

    5
« New, clean, well managed »

This hotel is new, clean and well managed. The staff is friendly, cooperative and highly responsive. When we checked into our room I laid a water bottle on the foot of my bed...not realizing that the bottle cap was not completely closed. I called the front desk. The service staff had left for the day so someone from the front desk picked up some clean bed linens and came and remade my bed. Excellent and courteous. They didn't even laugh at me for "wetting" my bed.

    3
« Hotel ok, shame about the noisy pipes »

This hotel is recently renovated. Breakfast was good. However, if you want a good nights sleep then it's not the best place to stay.... The pipes are beyond noisy. Every time your neighbours turn on a tap you definitely know about it! No idea what's wrong with their pipes but they are very noisy! I would not choose to stay here again.

    4
« Great location nice staff »

Booked our room online. Was hoping for a view of the lake. No view at this hotel. The price was right! Our room was very nice and updated, which was a pleasant surprise. Our room was on pool level but did not present a problem. Great breakfast was served with many options. It's nicely decorated, light and bright. Enjoyed our stay, would stay here again.

    3
« Noisy floor but great breakfast and low cost »

We were placed in the pool section which is below the main floor. It may be just that floor but it was very loud and WiFi was almost impossible to get on. It was stated this is a Page issue not a hotel issue but it was a pain. The hotel was conveniently located and had a great breakfast. Thwy went the extra distance with mqny topping for the pancakes and variety of toppings for eggs. We booked it due to its low cost and I would return even though there were some noted issues as I like money more than a quite hotel. PS, the pool is closed in March

    « Best hotel of it's class. »

I cannot write enough good things about this hotel. The staff was efficient and helpful. The room was impeccable. Comfortable linens and beds. The room appointments were perfect. The breakfast (included) was without flaw...I terrific full breakfast. This was a remarkable hotel for this price point -- heck almost any price point. A GREAT value! I cannot recommend this hotel any higher than the 5 stars they allow -- I'd give it more, but Trip Advisor doesn't give me that option. 8-D

    4
« Good value for money »

Good location, excellent price, especially with a good breakfast included. Room appears to be in process of being upgraded. Vending machines were all completely empty, and staff said they had been that way for some time - so find a new supplier?!

« Great Stay. Great Value! »

My family stayed just one night, but it was enough time to post a rave review of this property. The best hotel stay at this price point EVER, anywhere. In fact, at almost any price point. This is how a hotel should be -- great staff, well maintained, great value. Nicely done property owners and property managers. I highly recommend this property for anyone planning a trip that includes Page, AZ.

    4
    « Great Location »

This was just a two night stay while visiting Antelope Canyon. Our room was quiet and clean. We did not spend much time at the hotel, but it does have a small fitness room. The breakfast buffet was great, with many choices making it a great way to start out your day. The front desk staff was friendly and very helpful with local information. There are restaurants within walking distance. WiFi was a little slow. Verizon cell service worked fine.

    5
    « Comfortable/Affordable »

« More pros than cons -- barely »

Decent place for a decent price, but don't expect luxury or much in the way of customer service/appreciation. Pros: generous bfast and nice bfast area, remodeled/updated room, bath freebies out the wazoo, good coffee in room, double-barrelled shower head. Cons: whiz-bang shower head too much for old-school drain, which backed up to my ankles, air conditioner that actually seemed to make the room warmer, slow elevator, security lock on side entrance that never locked. A lot of really niggling things, really. I'd stay again with no prob, but would prefer somewhere that gave a dang I was there. Booked on hotels.com and upgraded from plain-jane room to four-bed family room for only three bucks more. 3 queens, 1 sofa sleeper. My kids and I each took a queen and their stuffed animals got the sofa.

« Will stay here again »

I was in Page, Arizona for a weekend and this hotel made my stay even more enjoyable than expected. The rooms are extremely clean, modern, and comfortable. Free breakfast and wifi is great and the staff is friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who is considering to stay here. On top of how nice everything was, it was extremely affordable.

« Good location, wonderful hotel »

I was pleasantly surprised at how great this hotel is especially for the price. Lobby, rooms, and breakfast area are very clean, modern, and well decorated. Bed was comfortable, room was super clean, location is great, and service was warm and friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

    « Pleasantly surprised »

This hotel is probably the best Best Western I have stayed at so far - clean room, spacious and at a reasonable price. I was pleasantly surprised with its modern deco and quality breakfast. The location was great and a short drive from Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend! Would definitely stay here again if I come back to Page.

« Remodeled Motel, Trying to look like a high end hotel »

Very good interior design, walking through the lobby seems like you are in 4**** hotel, but when you enter the room you see that 4**** drop to 2**. It is a a nicely updated motel, but can't compare to 3 or 4 star place- no fridge in the rooms (trying to look like a Sheraton or Marriot hotel). When asked about the Lower vs the Upper Antelope tours- the front desk representative gave false information and recommended a tour company across the street from the hotel- now you know who buys Christmas presents for the front desk staff :) Go visit the LOwer Antelope, it is amazing. If the staff members were more polite, my rating will be higher.

    4
    « Good »

Value hotel - clean place for a reasonable budget in a small town. Conveniently located close to many eateries. Breakfast in the morning was goode. Nice town to stay a night or two when out in that part of the country.

« Front desk staff can do better »

A fairly reasonable hotel, clean and large comfortable rooms. Breakfast area and options were fine, nothing special. What I however will remember was the uninterested front desk staff (two young ladies) who without too much effort could be far more pleasant. Hard to describe, but unlike my experience elsewhere in the States these two unsmiling ladies could lift their game, one was on the phone on arrival and din't look up to say something as simple as "just a moment sir" with a smile, she simply ignored me. The other was shuffling paper, obviously "far more important" than welcoming a new guest. Kick up the backside, it's not hard!! Oh and I selected the "No wi-fi" option for this hotel as while it's available it's pointless using it as it's snail speed - unsure if this is the hotel's poor technology or Page's.

    « its a good choice »

Page City is an amazing place and people there are so freindly. The location oh hotel is very good and room is clean, the staffs are friendly and helpful. Its a good choice when you stay in Page City. Its very close to those restaurans and you just need to walk.

« Exceeded expectations by a long shot! »

I was hoping for clean and safe and I got beautiful and relaxing. We were in town for one night on a road trip - I looked for a place that had a good price point and good reviews. This hotel seems to have been through recent updates - the decor is modern and the features outstanding. Would recommend to anyone traveling through Northern AZ!

« Good new motel with free breakfast »

Stayed in Page for 1 day on the way from Bryce to Grand Canyon. Have to visit here Antilope Canyon (upper and lower), Powell lake, Horseshoe bend (sunset and sunrise), famous dam. Many other things to do! Pluses of motel: - fast check-in and check-out; - helpful nice people at reception and buffet area; - new big well equipped rooms; - have breakfast (even if not best - but ok); - have coffee machine in the rooms; - good price-quality ratio. Minuses: - no toothpaste and toothbrush; - was a little noisy outside due to general AC machine (or we don't k ow what was that) right next to our room; - no water available; - no much information about attractions in Page (should work on it). In general recommend for families, friends, couples or business travelers. Would stay here again.

    « Plus standard »

We stayed here for the night with the intention of staying longer. The staff made you feel you like you should not be there. The bed linen had stains on them I left the cleaner a note and the wi fi was to slow which the hotel is aware of. The dining area is a plus standard but the rest is very poor.

    « Treated like royalty »

Scott was excellent in getting my TV reception clearer. Room was great, except floors not very clean and oval toilet seat was on a round toilet and there were some paint splatters from repainting. With all of the remodeling, toilet seat and small details of paint should be taken care of. Food was great. Not the typical "microwave eggs". Kendra was friendly at Breakfast, but needed more help. With only 2 employees feeding that many people, food runs out. Friendly employees. Great value for such a updated and large room . I felt like royalty! Rating would've been higher with toilet seat that fit and cleaner floors. I would stay again though.

« My Expectations Were a Little Higher »

I can't say anything positive about the staff as almost all of them (except the lady who prepared the hot items for breakfast, she was amazing) seemed to be annoyed. The room was clean, but was never re-cleaned or stocked the next night and we had to track them down for towels. Apparently, you have to have your room ready to be cleaned when they do a room check (which is way before they actually come to clean the room) and not when you are ready (in other words, they don't check back to your room even if they are cleaning the room right next to yours). So when we left that morning, the housekeepers were cleaning the rooms on our floor, but since our room wasn't on the list from the room check before they got there, we were missed. Anyway, on a positive note, we really enjoyed the free breakfast with all their options and the friendly lady who made the hot items. The sad thing was she was the only staff member and was expected to seat us and make all the hot items so, things were a little slow. Not sure if I would stay here again, but our choices were limited in the first place. So, check the reviews. They do help.

« Clean, Quiet and Friendly »

We stayed here for one unplanned, unreserved night. We arrived at 10:30 PM and the friendly desk clerk set us up with a nice room with a view of the parking lot so that we could keep an eye on our kayaks. The room was clean and quiet. The provided breakfast was decent. Lots of choices. Most important, the coffee was good.

« Great Choice With Best Western Plus »

Wow! Really cannot ask for more! Clean room, nice breakfast, and friendly staffs, especially Scott, thank you for all of your help!!! I'll definitely book my reservation again with Best Western Plus next time when I am in town.

    « Very pleasant stay. »

This was a nice and comfortable hotel with a helpful staff. Breakfast area was clean and food was ample. Room was comfortable and clean. I would stay again. Antelope Canyon was very close and convenient.

Great variety of breakfast items. Oatmeal, eggs, pancakes...hot tea and coffee. Its a great way to start of a full day of hiking and sightseeing with a free hot breakfast. Belinda is really great and friendly.

« Good Place to stay »

Best Western is close to everything I needed during my stay. It was close to the tours I went on and the restaurants I enjoyed. It's not too far from the highway, or the giant Walmart on the main road. I recommend this hotel because it is a quiet, nice place to stay for in Page.

    5
« Perfect location, breakfast was a delight!! »

The rooms were nice and clean. Antelopes are just a 10 min drive from here. The breakfast was the best we've had any any best western location with yogurts, muffins, potatoes, scrambled eggs , sausages , oatmeal and pancake machines. With a lot of seats to be available to eat there. Plus we were visited in early November so got the room at low price.

    2
« Cheap, dated, dirty, with hot breakfast though »

The hotel is a sort of 'you get what you pay for'. Quite dated (which is fair for the price) and with full hot breakfast (positive experience), but the room was plain dirty. Crumbs, hair and dust were scattered all over the floor. They have not swept the floor before our arrival and they have not washed it for quite a while (my white socks turned black in no time). The water in the shower/bath tub did not drain properly which left me wondering how on earth they clean it at all. Not staying there again, regardless of how cheap the rooms are.

    4
    « Great hotel »

Great hotel, very clean. We had an issue with our tub and sink not draining properly but it didn't bother us too much. Breakfast was decent. Can't beat the price of the hotel and its in a central location. Definitely would stay here again. There was definitely a bit of a wait to wash clothes at night, bring detergent and quarters. The front desk also has detergent available. One of the dryers were broken so I ended up just handing everything in our room b/c I didn't want to wait an hour for a dryer. I ended up using the dryers in the morning and the laundry room was empty.

« Didn't like the bed or pillows »

I booked our room for 3 nights stay, 2 queen beds. When i was checking in i let them know i was a diamond rewards member, and asked if they had a suite with 2 queen beds available (this is a benefit for being a diamond member, being upgraded to the best room available at no additional charge ). She stated she had a suite with a king available. I said i needed 2 queen beds. She then asked how many people were in my party. I told her 2, me and my husband. She again said she had the suite with a king. She stated that all the 2 queens were rented out by families, for the next 7 days. I asked, for clarification, that all jr suites and regular suites were booked, all of them, there were no open rooms, at all. She then said there was one suite with 2 queen beds available, but it was on this floor, and she asked if this was acceptable. I told her that would be fine. I am not sure why she didnt just give that to me when I first asked for it. My reward benefit does not state that there needs to be a certain body count in order to obtain a suite with 2 queen beds. I dont like that they save those rooms for "families ". My husband and I are a family, just without children. The room was fine, except for the bed and pillows, the bed had no pillow top and the pillows were stiff and uncomfortable. I chose this hotel because it was a bestwestern plus. These normally have beds that have pillow top mattresses, blanket/comforters so soft to the touch and pillows that are soft and cradle your head with comfort. This had none of these. We spent 3 nights here and i slept horrible all 3 nights. The breakfast selections were the best part of this hotel.

« Nice 'budget' hotel, good location »

The Best Western Plus at Lake Powell was recently renovated back in July 2015. Upon entering the lobby it still smelled like it was newly remodeled. The common areas in the lobby and dining area were nicely updated. The rooms were clean and updated as well...nothing fancy, but current and newer. I booked through Expedia and it also included a hot breakfast buffet. I'm not a fan of buffets, but it was nice to have it included! The hotel is closely located to Lake Powell, Horseshoe Bend and the Antelope Canyon tour companies. Note that Page, AZ is a pretty small town. There's not much to do around there depending on the time of the year, unless you're there during the warmer season and can enjoy Lake Powell. There are a few basic restaurants to choose from. Don't expect anything above 2-3 stars. Oh also note that the WiFi in the hotel is pretty horrible. The receptionist did advise me at check-in that the whole town of Page uses one provider so the bandwidth is reallllllll slow. And my reception is pretty bad, mostly on Edge and if I was outside I was lucky to get 3G (AT&T). Otherwise, if you're looking for a good quality place for a reasonable price, I would recommend Best Western Plus at Lake Powell.

    « Staff wonderful - Manager Rude »

As a Diamond Elite member I expected better treatment. There were no reward benefits offered nor was I welcomed as an award member. The hotel itself was ok, however they have wood laminate floors so the noise above you can be unbearable. The breakfast was good and the young man works very hard. We asked to extend for an extra night and got charged $58 and received a receipt for this the following day we also got charged a $68. When I queried this with reception the manager was there and was very rude. She told me the staff member shouldn't have given me the Best Western web discount and I had to pay for for extending at the property reception. She continued to tell me how the young girl was at fault. I then asked why instead of just taking another amount off my card without seeking permission or discussing I was told "if you just shut up and listen" being a business owner who sends a lot of my colleagues through Best Western properties I will definitely be reconsidering this in the future. To the staff you all work extremely hard I feel very sorry for you all. The hotel itself is ok

    5
    « Great stay! »

The hotel was quiet, no noise from other guests. The breakfast was great, lots of options and included in the price. The hot tub was clean and a welcome treat in the cold weather. I would definitely stay here again.

    5
    « Best value ever!! »

For the price, which is more than fair, this hotel provided us with more than we anticipated. The room was excellent, breakfast was awesome, staff were good at their job and even a daily newspaper was included!

« Best Best Western Ever! Trip Advisor feedback site, not so much. »

Best Best Western experience ever and I like Best Western. It's a mile off the road to the lake, but worth it. clean, nice like new room. courteous staff, great public areas, great breakfast. I hope I've finally typed 200 characters. It's a good thing they aren't asking for a review of Trip Advisor. This minimum of 200 characters to submit a review on Trip Advisor bites.

    « better than expected »

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was by far the cheapest hotel on our vacation and the room was fine with no noise from other guests or outside. We also arrived about 3 hours prior to check-in time and were able to check in without any problems or fuss from the front desk staff. No safe in the room a bit inconvenient but can't complain for the price. The internet speed was pretty terrible but I think this might be consistent for the whole town, not just this hotel.

    5
    « Nice stay »

I went with my friends and selected Best western with my Points. As Page is small place, I wasn't expecting much but amazing hotel was clean, staff was supporting and my hotel room (Jr suite) was clean. I will recommend the Hotel for future stays.

    4
« Very Large rooms and good service let down by slow Internet and narrow walling »

The rooms were huge and spacious, with a new TV and two tables. A fridge was included which is appreciated. Beds were comfortable. Check-in was very fast. Staff were mostly helpful. The boarding pass kiosks did not work and the Internet constantly disconnected and was slow when it worked. We heard many conversations next door which I suspect may be caused by narrow walling.

    3
« Stay and nice atmosphere »

Our stay at this hotel is good and relaxing. Good breakfast. But, staff at the front desk is not helpful and not caring. Better have a good, experienced and much more informative and helpful staffs at the front desk. Especially when you drive long ours and checkin to the hotel midnights with very cold outside weather.

    4
    « Perfect »

I really don't get the low ratings - this hotel was perfect, and I'm picky. Check-in - a breeze! Wi-fi - worked perfectly! Rooms - clean and comfortable! Bath amenities - nice and generous! The only thing keeping me from giving this place 5 stars was the attitude of the guy at breakfast. The place was full and we were told we could take the plates to our room, but if we came back for more we might be charged. Whatever! Maybe I should get a refund for the place offering a free breakfast, but not providing seating? Anyways, a great place!

    5
    « Great hotel! »

Very nice hotel! Rooms are big, new, beds are very comfortable. It was nice warm in the rooms. Wifi worked very well. Breakfast were very good, huge variety of food. Personnel was kind, ready to help. Location is good, many restaurants in the walking distance. Hotel also has a pool and hot tub. Great stay, I would recommend it to everyone!

    4
« Nice rooms, decent prices »

The hotel is nice, clean and recently renovated, but does not allow pets at all. They also charge extra if the room has more than 2 people, even if the room sleeps 4-6. They do serve a basic breakfast and offer wifi as well. Standard hotel amenities.

    3
    « Average Hotel »

Average hotel with hot breakfast. Remodeled but not well done. The color scheme is stark and cold. In the rooms the furnishings are cheap. Sleeper sofa is hard as a rock and the laminate flooring has waves and bumps in it. Beds were comfortable. The hotel was very busy for day after Christmas and there wasn't any hot water for a shower the night of arrival. While this may be because of the number of guests, a hotel shouldn't run out of hot water.

    4
« Confortable stay with good breakfast options. »

A reasonably priced stay in Page with a good breakfast and easy parking etc. A good base for the many nice outdoors activities in the area. When we visit it was a bit crowded, but it also was peak season. Would consider it again if we go back to Page.

    5
    « Great motel experience »

We've been traveling on the road with friends for about a week, and Best Western is the greatest experience we've had during this trip. Best bed ever, and first real breakfast so long. Next time travelling I'll definitely will search for Best Western sign on the way.

    « What a bargain! »

Since my husband has not been antelope canyon we decided to stretch our legs to Page while we are in Las Vegas. This is low time - and cold! But all the attraction, except pools and boat cruise, are open and pretty. Hotels are practically half price. Our room is big, 2 queen beds, clean and comfortable. breakfast will be good as usual- I already know it.

    5
« Great place. Very good breakfast and service overall! »

We stayed in two-room suite with the bedroom, living room and the kitchenette. The price was almost the same as for the single room. The room was very nice and clean. I think they have redecorated the lobby and the breakfast area, because it looked different than 5 years ago. The breakfast is terrific! They have everything you can think of. All the staff (both the breakfast and the front desk) were VERY friendly and helpful. I will stay there again next time I'm in Page.

    4
« great location with good service »

i stayed for 2 nights to see the canyons - the room was large and clean - inclusive internet connection. the breakfast was buffet style and average - but the service was really good and the staff at the reception very helpful. i would stay again if i pass through

    « Surprisingly high quality »

Really great hotel. Unexpectedly high quality compared to larger cities. Everything was clean. And I like that there were water fountains where you can refill your water bottle. Only problem was that the internet was spotty but adequate...the fitness center was small but better than nothing. There was more than adequate hiking spots in the area to supplement. I'd rather exercise outdoor anyways.

    4
    « We loved it »

We loved this hotel and Page itself. Well, most of the people stay there because of the Antelope canyon tours. Therefore you can hear a lot of talks during the morning breakfast about the tour guides. I think it is the best place if you are going to Antelope. It is near. The hotel is good looking with comfortable bedrooms and provides a complementary breakfast for its quests. Good offer for this price.

    5
« Nice hotel in a small city »

Best Western in Page is one most worth of the money during our weekly travel in canyon area. The hotel is clean, room is spacious, and breakfast is wonderful with many varieties including on site maid severing hot Sandwich with healthy nuts of your choices. Hotel attendants are nice and helpful. We are very happy in all of the aspects.

    « Great Road Trip »

Stayed at the Best Western Lake Powell early December. Property was clean, staff was friendly, room was comfortable, shower was awesome. Breakfast was great the next morning. It is conveniently located within walking distance to many dinner options. Will stay at this property anytime I pass through Page.

    « Great Hotel »

Great Location, great staff, great rooms, great breakfast, great service and great price. This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The area has so much to offer, our stay in Page was a wonderful experience and will be going back to this hotel to enjoy more of everything.

Loved the place. Great breakfast options, friendly staff, clean quality room. Only negative was because the floors were non-carpet (tiled floors), it carried noise from room above. So people walking in room above made lot of noise

« New, nice, comfy and modern rooms »

My wife and I stayed here for two days when we were visiting Page Az and the surrounding areas. The hotel is right on the main avenue that leads to Page downtown. Its very close to lake powell and about five mins away from the marina. The hotel is really good with brand new rooms and upholstery. The rooms seem to have renovated recently and are very clean. It has all the usual amenities that you expect from a good hotel room. The supplies they provide like the shampoo and soap bar etc were more upscale than the best western hotels i have been to. They had a keurig machine inside the room which is certainly an upgrade. I haven't seen that even in more upscale hotels like Marriott etc. The bed and other bedding they provide are okay. They were comfy and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall we had a really comfy stay here and were pleasantly surprised by the new upscale rooms they had. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is in the area.

    2
    « Good intentions but »

The hotel is recently renovated or may be it is still under that. So things have a fresh smell. But that's it. The walls are pretty thin so you have to hear your neighbors' tv or their kids. Also don't forget ceilings are thin too. Everything was clean and well kept. The breakfast was provided which was good thing and it was pretty decent. One more funny thing the shower curtain was too short so the bathroom floor got wet.

    4
    « Very nice hotel! »

Very clean and big rooms, we were given the keys to the room straight away though we were early. Breakfast was more than we expected for the price (USD 70,00) and the breakfast room was big. Nice restaurant (Strombolli's Italian) just around the corner. Sunset from across the street. Would stay here again.

    « Luxury indeed »

I had found a special offer for our planned stay in Page and thus booked three nights at the Best Western Plus in Page. I guess because it was off-season ? mid-November ? this multi-night offer was available; I paid less than $150 for three nights. The hotel sits on a bluff overlooking the lake and the dam, and a good number of the rooms actually overlook dam and lake. I'd never before stayed at a BW+ and was full of anticipation. From the start, we were impressed: check in was fast and efficient, the lobby area was elegant and modern. Our room was another revelation: two king-size beds, large fridge, massive flat screen TV set, hair dryer, iron, microwave, Keurig coffee machine with several different types of coffee and tea. What I noticed particularly were the many lamps placed all around the room, as well as a reading chair with it own lamp ? one of my major gripe with many hotel/motel rooms: not enough light to rad comfortably or without going into impossible contortions. This, for once, was definitely not the case here. The whole room was tastefully furnished and modern, and perfectly clean, the beds comfy. The full breakfast ? included ? was another delight. I can't think of anything I'd ever want to eat for breakfast on an ordinary day which was not on offer: hot cereal, pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausages, potatoes, then yoghurt, toast, muffins, cold cereal (corn flakes), fruit ? whole as well as 2% milk for your cereal or coffee - plus a proper seating area with many tables, which got cleared and wiped as soon as someone left. Here, too, all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There's a pool, but it was closed for the season; but you could have used the hot tub. There is also a small fitness room and a laundry room. This was just about perfect! Would most definitely stay there again! We loved it! The only small issue was with the wifi; we were warned at check-in that coverage in the area was not the best and sometimes it would not work at top capacity; but there were two computers in the lobby guests can use. We made the experince thatin the evneings -m[rsimably when everybody was online - the service was very bad (e-mailing wrked very well, but Facebook, and especially uploading pictures was slower than a drugged slug, or even wouldn;t work at all)- and in the early morning it was excellent

« Great relaxing place between Zion NP and Grand Canyon »

Booked hotel at a fair price in advance. Check in was fast. Rooms are big, quiet and very clean. - They have a pool and hot tub, however pool was closed because it was off season. A couple of restaurants are within 1 mile. - Breakfast was included and was great. - Only downside was slow internet.

    3
« Above average for the price »

Would actually give this motel 3.5 stars. The rooms are clean, the dual shower heads are wonderful and the free breakfast buffet is far better than hotels that charge. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The wifi is free, but slow. Unfortunately the beds were not comfortable and the heating system was annoyingly loud.

  • 4
« Great shower head & amazing breakfast »

Modern hotel with clean rooms. The dual shower head was awesome! Wifi is slow, but that's the only complaint. Breakfast is extensive: pancake bar, eggs, sausage & potatoes, cereals, muffins, bagels, toast, oatmeal. I wish I could stay here longer. PS: go to Horseshoe Bend, less than 10 mins away, you won't regret it.

    5
    « New remodel rocks! »

Used to stay here before the highway was closed and it was an ok value. With the new remodel of the rooms, it's the best deal on the planet! They took breakfast up several notches also. It is excellent! Highly recommend this hotel!

    « Pleasant surprise »

We had stayed at another Best Western in this town in April and so it was time to try this one. I think it had been recently renovated and everything was clean and fresh. All the staff were friendly, the room perfect, the breakfast was one of the best we have had and the rate was reasonable. I would suggest this is the right place to stay if you are in the area.

« Pleasantly surprised and great value! »

We went to page for the balloon Festival and got a great last minute price on this hotel. Wasn't sure what to expect because of the price but this hotel was very nice. Rooms were clean and big, the continental breakfasts were very impressive. Perfect location for walking to the balloon launching at the golf course and for the festivities and night glow. The only complaint we had was the free wifi was awful slow! BUT We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

    « Grear but... »

Front desk were great at check in. And departure. Would not accept internet rate. Reservation was not made on internet..web site would not accept the reservation. Room was great. Large , clean, great beds. BUT... The toilet seat was not bolted down . which caused an impact with the bathtub... With associated pain. Breakfast was good and worth the extra$. Will still recommendthis motel.

« Grumpy front desk staff »

We came in happy from a day at Grand Canyon, that smile on our face didn't last long as soon as we came in this hotel. I have never seen such grumpy front desk employees as here. I don't understand why people just can't smile. Room was good, staff should take a course of friendlyness towards guests.

« Luxury at BW Plus Lake Powell »

Highly appointed and large rooms at this hotel for a good value price. One of the better breakfast buffets that we have experienced. Décor and quality of rooms and bed a definite plus in this category of hotel. Courteous staff. Large flat panel LG TV. Heat/Cooling unit worked well at a relatively noise level.

    4
« Well located, very clean with friendly, helpful staff. »

My first experience in a Best Western and was very satisfied. The room was comfortable, very clean and nicely furnished. Staff was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Buffet breakfast was included and would have cost at least $20 anywhere else.

« nice hotel for a very good price »

We stayed here for 1 night during our NP roundtrip, The check in was smooth and quick, we could even check in at 3pm. They have a nice pool (ok not a spectacular view, but you have this all time) but did not try it out. The rooms look quite new and are clean, i love noncarpet floors. Only one think was strange. New room but rusty shower handle, looks bad and damages the very good impression. The breakfast was ok for US standard, and the entrance check is maybe unusual for US but normal in Europe, so no complains about this. We were early for breakfast so no problems with the amount of guests. I forgot to ask for a room on the top floor, do this. We had some neighbours above us how did not know they are not alone. But during the night it was very quite, so not a big complain. Would stay here again

We were visiting Antelope canyon and stayed the night here. It was off season. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was large and the furniture was very nice. The bed and sheets slept like a dream. We had a great breakfast. We loved the place.

Possibly the best value we have experienced in the past twenty years. Room was excellent, clean and well laid out, the laminate floors are a great idea. The staff are courteous and the amenities good Five out of five.

    « Irresponsible customer service »

The AC wasn't working in my room and I have told the front desk about it, but they couldn't give me and solution to the problem because they are fully booked. They front desk told me to call my booking agent to get a compensation. I did as they have told me, and I was told that the manager was not available and I will get an email from the manager within 3 business days. However, after 3 business days I got nothing. I've called my booking agent 3-4 times trying to get a hold of the manager and every single time either the manager wasn't here, available, or they said they would email me again within 3 business days. As of now, after 3 weeks of calling the hotel for some kind of follow up for my compensation, I only got 30% off for all of my trouble, and yet I've heard nothing back from the hotel. Their service is ridiculously irresponsible and they are totally not apologetic about the inconvenience that they have caused me. If you plan to have trouble with your stay, then this will be the best place to stay at. Plus, wifi is extremely slow that it seems like it doesn't even exist

This was a great hotel for a quick night's sleep on our way through the area. Would stay here again if the price were the same. The staff were very friendly and professional. Price was the best in the area on booking.com

« Wonderful off season find »

I loved this place. We travel a lot. This was off season. High season would have been 4 times the price and then I would not been able to stay. I was told that the building was closed for several months to remodel and remodel they did. Building: is new, modern, clean, beautiful, and had up to date everything. Rooms : were very clean, lovely, with new everything. Great sleeping. Free breakfast: was excellent and had something for everyone on buffet. The laundry and business center were very helpful. Staff: friendly and helpful and professional There was a pool that looked nice but we didn't use it. There is a fitness room. Wifi was free -- not as fast as at home but it worked. Safety: good new locks on the door. I felt safe. There were no creepy people hanging around. Plenty of eateries and attractions near by. complaints: none, maybe a chair in the laundry room would have been nice Would I come back again: yes but during off season. Thank you retirement!!!

    « Great stay »

This has to be one of the smoothest run places we have ever stayed. The breakfast was very well attended and they never ran out of anything and were friendly as they refilled different foods. The front desk people always greeted you as you came in and were very helpful.

    « Bad Service »

Needs to really step up the service. Seems like the hotel is short staffed. Asked for maintenance to come up to my room for help as i had some water clogging in the bathroom and the response was they maintenance does not arrive at this hour and it was 9am in the morning. We got delayed because of this and no one ended up to help. I would not be using this hotel for my future trips.

« Nice place to stay »

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and they have done a great remodel. The whole hotel smells clean and is clean. The Breakfast was good, fresh pancakes and oatmeal and all the breakfast items that were fresh. The room cleaning is done pretty late for me, usually around 2-3. I would recommend to hotel to anyone.

    « An Excellent Stay »

My second Best Western stay went very well: the overall experience and service was extremely satisfying. I would rate the value received for the price paid as Excellent! I experienced very helpful check-in staff and checkout was a breeze. My room was super clean and had a very comfortable bed. I loved the western room motif too. Thank you Best Western Plus at Powell Lake, Arizona... well done!

« Beautiful hotel, but not the cleanest »

The hotel was beautiful. However, the rooms weren't the cleanest. We checked in on Friday night. I walked around in my socks because I forgot my slippers. When I went to remove my socks, the bottoms were filthy. The floors should not have been that disgusting since we just checked into the room! The next day when we returned after housekeeping I noticed that the shower had not been cleaned. Again, the floor hadn't been mopped/cleaned either. The breakfast was great, but the coffee looked like hot sludge.

    « Not biker friendly »

Last time I will stop at this hotel. Internet is not working, there is a guard in front for breakfast and you have to give your room number with the matching name. And for biker, please do not ask for rags to clean your bike, you'll be sent to H... Very nasty people... Expensive for what you get.

« great room, good breakfast »

Very good breakfast presentation. While the selection was standard hotel fare (scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, some fresh fruit, cereal, juice and coffee), there was an employee dedicated to serving a wide variety of pancake toppings. Also, one could approach the taste of an omelette because of the salsa, sour cream, chives and cheese available for the eggs.

« Not too bad but »

I was impressed by the lobby and almost complete room remodel but the front desk staff did not seem prepared for how busy it was. I was given a room much bigger than reserved & when I called to inquire I was told I was upgraded and the hotel was sold out and hung up on. I didn't mind the bigger room but was just being courteous since there was just my spouse & I and maybe a bigger party need the room. The location was great and was a good price.

    « Pleasant stay »

There are two Best Western locations for this property. Apparent wise this looked nicer but wouldn't be surprised if they were identical. The room we stayed was nicely appointed: comfy beds and a clean room. The only knock is it could of been brighter. The front desk though gruff in the beginning, but understandly so because they were sold out and overwhelmed, were helpful in giving directions and places to visit. We also stayed at the Clarion but preferred BW. The breakfast is worth attending especially if it's part of your bill. There is a nice selection of cold and hot choices.

    « Clean and Comfy »

Loved the new renovations to the hotel rooms. The AC wasn't greatest and the internet was slow, But the hostess warned me that it wasn't the best. The breakfast in the morning was yummy as well, just crowed due to the hotel being booked out.

« VERY FAMILY FRIENDLY HOTEL »

During our 10 days trip around LAS, this is the best hotel we lived in. Good location, free Wifi and breakfast are normally the top three criteria when choose hotel for my family trip. This hotel is very close to Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon and Glen National park. My daughter super loves this hotel.

« Very Good for the area or town town wif problems »

We stayed in early Oct 2015 and it was very good for the area. The breakfast was great and the staff seemed ok to us. The wifi coverage is very limited in the rooms or nonexistent mostly, the biggest minus, plus real slow. Don't understand why they have not added router extenders, very cheap, to get coverage. I understand Page has slow wifi everywhere because the reservation won't let them bring in high speed fiber cable. Sad. I'd certainly stay there again.

« Worst Front Desk Staff »

The front desk staff was not friendly at all. No smile on their faces when greeting the customer. We requested a room on the highest floor. She gave us a room on the first floor and said our room type was only on the first floor. We asked for a standard room with 2 queen beds! On the third day after visiting upper and lower canyon we came to the hotel and the key did not work. We went to the front desk and she coded new keys for us, which did not work. So I went back to the same girl and she said "oh I coded the key for a different room". Finally she made key for our room with no apology. The mattress was very soft and uncomfortable. The shower drain did not drain the water normally and so we ended up with a swimming pool in the tub. You could hear the footsteps of the people upstairs also, which was very disturbing at night. The hot breakfast did not have enough variety, especially for vegetarians like us. However the pancake station did have a variety of toppings and the employees there were quick to replace anything that was running low.

« Pleasant surprise in Page, AZ »

We were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the hotel, to find that the pool was much nicer than the average hotel pool, and that it had a jacuzzi. Even though we did not stay at the Best Western Lake View across the street, our corner room at this hotel had a really great view of the lake and the nearby Vermilion Cliffs as well. The room was quite large and very clean, and accommodating for all of the re-packing we had to do after spending a few days camping and hiking in the nearby national parks. The hotel is conveniently located in Page, AZ. It is great for accessing Vermilion, Grand Canyon, and Antelope Canyon. Zion and Bryce are also nearby. Would highly recommend this place!!

« Fishing at Lake Powell »

We have stayed here in years past and it was getting old. However, it has been remodeled and is now much improved. The staff was great and very friendly. This motel caters to tour groups and the lobby and breakfast area can be a "League of Nations" it was fun to see and hear. Page itself is quite pricey during the "season" and everything is over priced. Best time to stay is spring and fall.

« Worst Front Desk Staff, Possibly in the World »

Look, you don't have many choices of places to stay in Page, AZ, the home of the incomparable Antelope Canyon. The Best Western Hotel as a hotel really isn't that bad. That being said, I have never been in a hotel were the Front Desk Staff makes you feel like they actually hate you and just want you to go away. Ladies, you work in the "hospitality industry." As long as you know you will be glared out when you try to check it, you will probably survive the experience. Oh yeah, the wifi is really terrible.

    « Very enjoyable stay »

You can tell why this is a plus hotel. The room had a large TV, firm mattress, and leather chair with a very large ottoman--very good for tired travelers. There were double shower heads with massage lever. Had Keurig coffeepot. It was a spacious room,There was a small night light by the door which was great for safety. The hotel needed better sound insulation as you could hear walking above and was awakened at 5:20 a.m. with sound of suitcases rolling. TherThe AC was too warm and couldn't adjust and also was noisy. Breakfast buffet had large selection.

« very little for very much »

below basic, below average and old hotel. Lobby looks new but rooms are not. elevator is very hard to use, and could not find the stairs...minimal breakfast and not so friendly staff. Due to location, this is a very expensive Best Western.

« Nice hotel, very rude front desk experience »

The good: hotel is very nice. Our room was big and well appointed, bathroom was very nicely done though the shower took ages to drain so showering included sloshing around in 4 inches of water. You're close to everything and breakfast was pretty good for a chain hotel. The bad: the girl working the front desk was super rude. We got into town early and asked if our room was ready. Our arrival interrupted her talking to her boyfriend (who was there delivering an energy drink and brown paper bag of something) and she was NOT PLEASED by our audacity to interrupt her. The experience deteriorated from there...she was rude, condescending, and seriously unprofessional as we asked to check in. My husband and I kept looking at each other like, is this girl serious? She told us we couldn't check in til 3:30 (complete with a "duh" hand movement) so we left and came back later. When we returned she was gone and the new girl was much nicer, but it was a terrible first impression. Also, the Internet was non existent. I understand it's a remote location and Internet can be sketchy, but if you need Internet to plan your trip, this could be a big deal for you (it was for us)

    « A+ experience in page »

We stayed at the Best Western Plus during our drive around the Grand Canyon. Great overall experience with friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, good location to area restaurants and points of interest, and an excellent hot breakfast. Will visit again.

    « UNCOOOPERATIVE STAFF »

The Front Desk Staff holds very firm on No Early Check-Ins. They were also unwilling to award Airline Points for my stay; it had to be Best Western points ONLY. Music in the lobby and lounge areas were very, very LOUD. When asked the if they would turn the music level down, they stated that they were not authorized by the Management to do so. When asked to see a manager, the front desk staff stated that there was no manager on duty at that time. (4:00pm) Only one very slow elevator in the building, so plan your check-in and check-out times accordingly.

« If it was not the extra charge, this would be a great hotel »

I booked the hotel for 3 people with two queen beds. Things went fine with check-in, the room and other facilities until the next morning at the complementary breakfast. They charged us $10 for the 3rd person having the breakfast, even after our explanation that we reserved the room for 3 guests. Those small things like that can turn your experience into a negative one. I don't mind too much the charge, but the attitude of the staff is a big turnoff.

    « Reservatiin cancelled »

After a long day of travel we arrived at the Best Western Lake Powell in Page AZ to find our reservation was cancelled. The card used to reserve was recently compromised. They called us at our home phone and when we didn't return their call they gave our room away. Even if they called a cell, we had no service in the area we were travelling. They gave only two hours notice for a new form of payment before cancelling. They expected us to drive 2hrs to Flagstaff, out of our planned route. We were not given the same consideration of notice for cancellation the would expect from us.

« Good Hotel let down by front staff »

Checked in at what appears to be a recently refurbished clean and pleasant hotel. The two young women on the desk didn't appear to have much experience but dealt with us reasonably. Once in our room, which was well presented and clean we found the bathroom light did not work, and this is where the whole experience fell apart. I went back to reception and the staff appeared unable to think about what could be done about changing a bulb, looking blankly at me. I advised them as there was no window in the bathroom and no working light how were we supposed to use the bathroom? I asked to change rooms, but were told they were full that night so this was not an option. They then advised they would get maintenance to fix it. On returning to the room 2 hours later, after our evening meal close to the hotel, the light still was not fixed and on asking was told it would be another 1-2 hours. Two hours later on asking again I was told the light could not be fixed until the next day! Only at my suggestion they got us a standard lamp to use overnight, which was brought to the room by maintenance, if he could bring a lamp could he not fit a bulb? We were offered a 20% discount, but as we'd pre-paid through a travel agent were told to claim this back on our return home. However as they gave us no paperwork to this affect we have been unable to claim it. Breakfast however as good, a nice choice and nice efficient staff. In summery this clean well presented hotel should have provided a pleasant overnight stay, but a minor issue of a failed light turned the whole event sour. The management need to ensure the front desk staff not only know how to deal with minor issues but ensure the customer is inconvenienced as little as possible.

    « Exceeded Expectations »

The hotel has hardwood floors in the rooms, instead of carpet, which is nice, but a little chilly. Just wear socks or slippers and then it doesn't matter. Everything about this stay was great. We had a 2nd floor corner room, which was perfect, especially with kids. We got to park right outside the window, and there was a stairway right there. Breakfast was great. And while we didn't have time to enjoy the pool, it looked awesome with the fountains. And I just loved the way the room was separated into living and bed rooms. Very nice. And the express checkout was awesome, although I couldn't find the drop box, so I just handed the keys and paper to the girl at the counter. If I ever pass through Page again, I won't bother looking anywhere else to stay. I picked BWP for the competitive price, being on a budget. It exceeded my expectations.

« Walls are like paper »

I had a very bad night in this hotel, the walls are like paper and I heard all night long my neighbors chatting and laughing. They were also taking showers (a lot...) and the plumbing is very badly made so I could hear the water in the sink of our room, which of course is inside the bedroom. It was the worst night of our 10 days trip.

    « Friendly Staff »

I always enjoy my stays at this recently renovated property, very nice staff that goes above and beyond. Only problem with hotel is the location is in high demand so price is always inflated. Stay here with confidence in the staff and rooms, but beware of the price 150 to 200 per night is overpriced

« Double check that your reservation is still in place on the same day »

We actually didn't stay in this hotel after they had bumped us out of the hotel because my credit card was declined...but the issue I am having is that I had previously called the hotel to make sure in which best western I was staying and front desk confirmed everything with me on the phone but forgot to tell me the little detail that they need a new credit card. I called at 635p and even asked if we should eat first and then check in and they said yes because restaurants are closing at 9p. We tried to check in at 10p and were told the room was given away at 720p and she blamed us for not asking the persons name who I had talked to. We finally got a room at Clarion inn and suites and they actually told us Best western is always oversold..so be aware to check in early enough that they will not give away your room. When I complained about it at customer service the manager sent me an email apologizing about the misunderstanding because they didn't know at the time I called that my credit card was declined which was a lie because the front desk agent had advised us they tried to call me and the number was disconnected and that was in the morning. Being a travel agent I will not recommend this hotel to stay for any of my clients..there are enough other hotels to book. I wouldn't trust to book anybody here and then getting an irate client on the phone because his room was given away...

« Not worth the stop in my opinion »

First when I checked in the lady was rude and overpriced, I went to two other places and they were full. I went back to this place because we were simply exhausted. The lady was still unpleasant, but that is life sometimes. The room was a handicap room and while that is fine, I was not informed of that. No other options were offered. Then there were 5 light bulbs burned out and maintenance came and fixed 4 of the 5. I want to compliment the maintenance man because he was the nicest person we met at the facility. The place in my opinion is over rated and next trip west I will make sure I drive right through this town. I am still not happy over that stay. At check out the manager deducted 15% off my bill for the trouble, but obviously that does not fix a bad stay.

Stayed here for one night while on a 2 week bus tour Western Discovery. Comfortable room, nicely decorated on lower ground floor. Relaxing. Enjoyed my short stay there. Did not eat there but there area number of places nearby to eat. Very close to Lake Powell.

    « No customer service »

This place has very unresponsive, surly staff. Made no attempt to fix our broken ac while we were there. Argued that it could not be broken. Basically rude and uncaring attitude at every turn. Cannot recommend this hotel.
