« Good place, good location. »

The room was good. All work fine, except the toilet that had a small leak, the filling valve was coming on often, it really didn't bother me but I know there are people extremely picky that the sound would drive them nuts. I would remove the carpets and put regular floor. The carpet smell a little bit bad.

« Comfortable and clean and amazing staff »

I stayed here for 15 days in October and can't fault it. I had a massive room for myself and two children. It was cleaned daily. Breakfast was fantastic had so many choices so had something different everyday. One lady in the breakfast room was absolutely lovely her name was Aline. Every morning she had a smile and so welcoming. Also Mounya on reception was lovely. Fantastic shuttle to all parks, it can get busy so we always arrived early to make sure we got on the mini van. The location is fantastic for I drive with stops for the I trolley mins away. Plenty of good places to eat.

The hotel met my expectations regarding the location. Shops, supermarket, restaurants and public transportation nearby. Reasonable WiFi, good room service, cleanliness, service and breakfast. Recommended hotel for family and business.

    « Bad Odor »

Rooms that face the pool smelt like smoke since the outside patio area is right there, and there is nothing that can be done about. It carries into the rooms and makes for a less enjoyable experience . The wifi is horrible as it often loses connection to your devices and requires a sign-in. This is bad for business people that connect to VPN networks to finish up work in the morning or evening

    3
    « Just ok »

The hotel is ok... the location is very good, nice neighbourhood!!!. I expected a huge breakfast, but not... In general I liked it, but it has a terrible smell in the rooms... humidity without ventilation. For this reason I will not choose it again.

« Great value, great location »

Stayed for two weeks, excellent location 10 minute drive to Universal and 20 minutes to Disney, shuttle service was very handy to and from the parks. Some of attractions a few minutes walk were orlando eye, Sealife, Ripley's, madame tussauds. Rooms very clean, staff were helpful, complimentary breakfast was satisfactory but went to ihop for a change every few days, pool was a nice size kids mainly had it to themselves most of time after a day in the parks. I would recommend this hotel for people with a budget and would definitely stay there again.

    « Great Hotel »

This hotel was great and price was even better. Clean, neat, great internet, friendly, well lit in all areas around the hotel, and quiet. Located in an area with restaurants to walk to. Easy access to all the venues on International Dr. along with adequate parking.

    « Meh »

Decent hotel, decent breakfast, decent location, horrible shuttles. The trip to universal studios was fine, but we had to wait an hour and made two phones calls to the hotel until we finally got picked up to come back. Okay option-just make sure you download Uber in case.

    « Noisy! »

Pros: Staff is very friendly and professional, breakfast has a good variety (love that they have Mickey waffle irons!) and is tasty (though the coffee is just so-so in my opinion), easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants, great price for the area, food and drink available for purchase in the lobby, and a Walgreens is just a 5-8 minute walk away if you need anything they don't already have at the front desk. Cons: NOISY! I could hear people in the neighboring rooms talking, people walking in the hallways, traffic from the interstate, and noise from the restaurant and club next door all night long. I'm not usually a light sleeper, but on my last night there, I was awakened 7+ times: twice from people talking/walking around loudly, once from someone shoving a menu through the crack in the doorframe (who does that at 1am?), once from emergency vehicle sirens going down the interstate, once from the garbage truck emptying the dumpsters, once from people in the neighboring parking lot yelling at each other, and once from what I'm pretty sure were gunshots nearby (too far away from any of the theme parks to be fireworks). The beds were too hard for my liking, and the pillows too soft/flat. The toilet was leaking, so I could hear the water running in the bowl all night the last night (I just turned the water off at the wall that night so I could sleep). The in-room safe wouldn't work correctly, so it's good that I didn't have anything particularly valuable that I was leaving in the room. The vent cover in the bathroom was falling off - from what I could tell, it wasn't secured to the wall with anything, so I'm not sure how it was even staying in place to begin with. Even with the curtains closed, there was so much light coming into the room through the window from the parking lot lights, that I had to sleep with a pillow over my head. The hotel does have free shuttles to Disney and Universal, but has very limited pickup/dropoff times, so you're probably better off just driving to the parks or arranging your own transportation with a private service. For this location, the Best Western website advertises "new, spaciously-appointed guest rooms", but the best that I could tell is that they just put on a fresh coat of paint and maybe upgraded the TVs or furniture. It still generally looks and smells like an older hotel. Their website also advertises "wireless high-speed internet access", but I found it to be very spotty and I couldn't get my devices to connect most of the time. When they did connect, the service was very slow. I won't stay here again

    « Nice but noisy »

Clean comfortable, very pleasant staff who are friendly and helpful especially mounya who is on reception and was very helpful checking us in. Breakfast delicious and plenty of choice which we enjoyed daily. Rooms cleaned to a high standard daily. Only downside to this hotel is the noise coming from the busy main road - international drive and the night club mango dinner show next door. Really loud music!!!! Aaaah! Great places to eat next door - restaurant called una and across the road at red Robbin... Lovely food and great service. Would recommend if your ok with a noisy place to stay. There is a bus stop right outside for the i trolley which is handy! Free shuttle to Disney and universal from the hotel was also convenient for us to access these parks.

    « Stop-over in Orlando »

During our migration south from Canada for the winter, we like to stop over in Orlando, our last stop before we reach our destination in South West Florida. We like that location because of the numerous attractions and restaurants in that area within walking distance. In addition, there is a new attraction centre just across the road from the hotel, the Orlando eye, a gigantic wheel, that allows you to see a good distance around the city from 100 feet or more in the air. there are also numerous boutiques and other activities, i.e. mini golf, horse back riding on occasions. In short something to do on a short stay in Orlando.

    4
    « Quick stay »

Great room rates. conveniently located to all attractions, airport, food and entertainment. Comfortable room and beds made for a good nights sleep. Checked in the day of hurricane Andrew and there was no price gauging which did happen at other hotels in the area.

« Dakoy most professional worker ever! »

I stayed for 2 nights at this hotel and the only reason I didn't give it an average review it was because of your best staff member Dakoy who really made our nights more comfortable! So, the first night the guy that checked us in was informal and gave us a room on the highest floor which was nice of him. The only bad thing is that we found a roach after 30 minutes of unpacking. I know that Florida is a humid place but it would be nice if the second night didn't have roaches again.. The pillows were a little uncomfortable for me. We asked for more and the lady at night said she would call us if they'd find anything. They never called until my fiancé called her back and THEN she decided to say that there were no more pillows. I work at a best western myself and in my opinion, customer service could use improvement between everyone except Dakoy, he is 5 star customer service oriented and probably needs to teach them how to interact with the guest and smile more! My fiancé and I came back at night after dining and asked Dakoy for pillows because I refused to sleep with those pillows having neck problems and he went above and beyond for us and brought up pillows and goodie bags for us! He should be the manager! Breakfast was okay, the one thing I loved were the Mickey Mouse waffles! The transportation to the parks were free and the driver was very nice! Pool was neat too. Check out was quick and simple, nothing to brag about. Overall, Location was excellent, lots of restaurants and close to the parks, breakfast was average, staff were average (except Dakoy, he's the best!) I would recommend, I just hope the lady at check out noted the bug issue, there's was nothing to be done for me since my room was paid with points but I hope the next person doesn't have to deal with that! :)

    « Cloned Credit Card »

I was in the hotel for 1 night on October, and I prepaid it. When I arrived the receptionist ask me for a voucher to cover any adicional cost. then 15 days latter I found that my Credit Card was clonated. I am complete sure that Credit Card was clonated at hotel because I only use it at the hotel. In my opinion KEEP AWAY of this place where they stole you. Hotel conditions in general are good, no the staff

    3
    « Not a bad place »

This was the cheapest hotel in the area on our trip to Disney. Not bad for the most part... A couple of things though... I requested (online) a room on a higher floor and was given one on the 1st. The place next to us was a little louder than we liked - but we kept the a/c running all night to drown out the noise. The towels were a little harder than we like and the shower head made a mess on the bathroom floor. Could be due to the shower curtain. Overall for the price, we would consider staying here again. We felt very safe here as there was a security guard walking around and checking vehicles as they entered the lot that they had the parking passes. We were never given one when we checked in, but he remembered us as we were checking in because I have a very rememberable car. Oh one other thing... the shuttle to the Epcot/Disney main lot only drops off and picks you back up 2 times. We took the 7:30 shuttle which was perfect, but ended up getting a taxi on the way back because the pickup time was too late. FYI, taxi fare back was approx $30.

    « Excellent Value! »

Have stayed at several Best Western Hotels. This one far exceeded our expectations for its complementary buffet breakfast! It was complete with hot and cold varieties of almost all breakfast food, including Mickey Mouse waffles! While it wasn't fancy, it was clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and comfortable. Excellent value for a budget hotel!!

« Breakfast reflects BW reputation for quality travel experience »

Hotel is close for walking to many restaurants and attractions nearby on International Drive. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms have external access corridors, but we would've preferred a BW hotel with standard interior corridor access, so we were slightly disappointed in that we'd booked this site using our BW reward points. Our room was on the ground level, so our door was facing International Drive. It was great for easy accessibility to our vehicle, but not for security concerns. The night traffic and activity level in the neighbourhood was a little too noisy for our comfort as seniors seeking a restful vacation of solitude. The complimentary breakfast was served in a room near the poolside which got so busy that overflow seating was housed at poolside tables during the hours of 7am-10am. The menu was pretty similar each day with various types of fruit, cereal (hot & cold), toast, eggs, sausage, juices, coffee/tea. One popular choice was a wafflemaker that made Mickey-Mouse-shaped waffles that you could add a variety of topping choices to. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the room had both a comfortable steno chair and workstation as well as a comfy armchair. The bathroom was equipped with grab bars to assist older guests needing help. Our unit had a large shower area that was wheelchair accessible with a fold-down bench option that was positioned sideways f(not practical for our use. Whenever the shower was used, the water flowed out over the floor, so it had to be mopped up each time to prevent slipping.

    « Never stay again »

Experiencing some noise. My room next to night club blasted music until 3:00 am .The hotel listed is a soundproof room. The walls paper thin can hear people whisper next door.Party next room until 5:30 on the morning. Not an easy to get up 6:30 on morning and go to do bussiness.Hotel should have security company on site to keep noise down.Called desk several times for noise .The toilet seat is swivel, tub water pressure weak and the shower spray all over. The bed is really hard and pillows is really small for a king bed.The assistant manager is not really professional. She hesitating to help solving issues .When I mentioned to call the reservation company to get discount .She said don't take treat to well. And having noise is not there fault.I'm not return to that hotel ever again.20$ more can get a room in Marriott hotel everyone should considered next time.

« Loud music next door until 1 AM ,Mangos Restaurant & Dinner Show »

Booked sat/sun night, checked in sat.afternoon and was given room 125,which happens to be at the front of the hotel next to International drives traffic. That alone was loud enough, but after returning from dinner, noticed very loud banging music from the Mangos restaurant which has a dinner show or live band until 1 AM.There was no way to get to sleep until then ,especially given the hardness of the bed.I also have to mention that we paid $180 for the sat. night stay(most I have ever paid for a room!)and proceeded to check out a day earlier.Hotels .com helped me book the Comfort Suites downtown Orlando and it was heavenly quiet with a softer bed, more towels, cleaner, more curtious staff and we enjoyed our second day with a better night sleep.I did bring up my concern, but the hotel was sold out and they can't do much about the music next door apparently

    3
    « Nice but noisy...really noisy »

This hotel had a great location, nice room, clean place and great breakfast. My biggest complaint was the lack of sound proofing. And it wasn't between the rooms that was bad, it was the outside world that was awful. People would walk past the room sounded like they were in the room. We could hear the wheels on luggage, the footsteps on the stairs, the car horns, squeaky brakes and the awful club 2 doors down that blared music until 130-2 in the morning (and I stayed on a Sunday night). You could even see light through the door, that's how little it was sealed. So much so, that a restaurant called Little Italy could easily slip an advertisement into the room between the lock and door handle at 830pm. So, as nice as the people were and well-priced the hotel was, I won't go back because it was impossible to sleep and startling how well you can hear everything outside.

    « great location »

Walking distance to lots of restaurants and shopping. looked like there were lots of night life available in the local area as well as other attractions like Ripleys museum etc. Had a great holiday, will return to this hotel next time we are in Orlando.

« Not a fancy hotel, but clean and close to everything »

Good hotel, clean and with good beds. Breakfast was also OK, but the b-room is too small so when all the people come in it's really packed. Very convenient to reach conventions, studios and parks. Very close to many restaurants, some quite good.

« stayed before and after our cruise with my sister and husband »

great value for what you get, great location close to restaurants and the iride trolley which was very convenient for travelling, plus they have a shuttle to the parks, the only problem was the noisy fan, but I would definitely stay there again

« Good stay for business and fun. »

We had a 3 night stay that included business & pleasure. The pool was still open10/13 so we enjoy a swim & the sun. The breakfast was also enjoyable. This BW is located in a good spot if your going to the convention center.

« Good choice all round »

Third time staying at this hotel , offering transport to theme parks , good breakfast , friendly helpful staff and good location on I drive . Walking distance to variety of good restaurants , bars and entertainment. This year we had to extend our stay unexpectedly due to hurricane Matthew !!!! The hotel staff did their very best to keep us informed and fed during this worrying experience . Would definitely stay here again , good value for money .

    « Anniversary »

For those who booked this hotel online, I have a valuable tip for you- Make sure that good deal is not a handicap room. Our "special deal" was one that did not have counters in the bathroom. Though this would be fine for a disable person, it did not work for my wife. When we told the desk person, he told us that was the room that fit our online price. We stayed in the same hotel last year and had a lovely experience. Stay off the first floor and make sure your room is not fully dedicated as a handicap room

    5
    « Excellent »

The room was gorgeous, the bed was huge, and the staff was friendly. I stayed at the Titusville BW for 5 nights before I stayed at this one and didn't know what to expect. This one looks like it was recently remodeled. They offer a free shuttle to and from attractions, and are in a good location. I'll stay again if I'm in the area.

This is an excellent place to stay for the money and convenient to convention centers and restaurants. I came for a business trip and enjoyed the attractions in the area. This was my second time staying here and I would stay again.

« Best Western International Drive, a good option in Orlando-FL »

Best Western International Drive, is a good option in Orlando-FL. It is not a fency Hotel, but enough for a very nice stay in Orlando. Good room, good sleep and breakfast. Steps away from several restaurants and local stores. Easy to leve to the main Parks (close to Sand Lake Rd and I-4). Cost / benefit is worthy.

« Good, Clean, Cheap Stay. »

The hotel is in a great location, close to many restaurants and not far from the parks, they have a shuttle running daily to Disney. The rooms are a good size and clean. They only bad thing would be the lighting in the rooms, but apart from that it was a brilliant stay and i would stay at this resort again and would recommend it to others.

« Good location, nice room, lacking staff »

The location of the hotel was great. Close to parks/attractions/restaurants/shopping. The room was nice, fairly standard, comfortable bed. Though we didn't use the microwave it was nice to have one. The fridge was very nice and had adequate space. Our room didn't come with a standard safe and when it was reported to staff they made it seem like it wasn't a priority and was always someone else's problem. Eventually it got sorted out, but with a broken safe we didn't end up using.

    3
    « Very good service »

I recommend this hotel! Beds are very small and rooms a bit too but its OK. Breakfast was awesome! Internet great too. Location is very very good! I enjoyed walking to the shops in the area. Overall good!

« More like a Motel than Hotel »

My first impression of this hotel/motel was not good. Its not what I'm used to. This is more motel than hotel and for that reason I did not feel safe, especially since it was night time when we arrived. The front desk attendant assured me it was safe and it actually was. What was little off putting was they have a guard in the parking lot walking back and forth and its hard to tell he is a guard. Some how they should make that more obvious. Anyway the room was kind of plain and ordinary. Could use some sprucing up. The walls are made of stucco and looks horrible. The bed linens aren't much either. I've noticed that a few Best Westerns have the same type of linens on the beds and they are so lacking. However, the beds were comfortable and I did get a good nights sleep except for the occasional noise I could hear from outside at 4 am. Walls are thin and you could hear everything going on outside especially since I faced the pool. Another thing that was annoying is they have the ice machine right by our room and overtime someone got ice you could hear this. If you aren't in the room this wouldn't be an issue but if you are trying to sleep it is annoying. Breakfast wasn't much too talk about either. Usual stuff, they had Mickey waffles which was probably best thing they had. Location is good if you are planning on doing things on International drive but traffic seemed to be bad at the time I arrived. Didn't use the pool or anything else so can't say much but the pool did seem nice. What I noticed that the pictures on the website(Best Western) didn't match the decor. Those looked much more appealing. This hotel needs to revamp the rooms and choose linens that spruce up the room. Better lighting is also helpful. Overall it was ok but I probably wouldn't choose it again.

    « Nice stay »

I booked this property at kind of the last minute, since I needed to add a day onto our Orlando vacation and there was no availability at the other resort I had booked. Everything was very nice. The pool was pretty small but clean, and my kids really enjoyed it. We enjoyed the breakfast, and the location was quiet even though it's pretty much in the middle of everything. I would definitely stay here again.

« GREAT HOTEL LOCATION AND AGENTS »

Enjoyed my stay at the hotel on last night. The front desk guy name Dakoy K. was very professional and HELPFUL. He provided me a gift bag which included bottle of water, sour worms, and fruit bars. I also enjoyed the mickey mouse pancakes and the coffee. I will recommend all of my family members and friends to this hotel.

« Night stayed, Value for money with free breakfast »

We stayed overnight at this Hotel/Motel. Initially we tried to book it through them but was expensive so used third party app and booked the hotel. Everything was sorted within a hour time. Rooms were nice and tidy with morning breakfast included. Location was on prime and highly recommend if you are exploring international drive. Very close to Orlando eye and also bus shuttle from.orlando eye so stay and use shuttle service. Also there is bus service just outside the road but not sure about the frequency.

    « Good stay »

We had a large room with kingsize bed. There is TV, fridge, microwave and coffee making facilities in room. The free Wifi was good. The hotel reception was large and clean with a few food items on sale, 3 computers (which they had a bit of an issue with) and free coffee , which we took advantage of whenever we arrived home. There was a nice pool, which we didn't use. There was a free buffet style breakfast, I would advice arriving early as it starts to get crazy busy from 9am onwards, There was a free hotel shuttle to some of the parks which we took advantage of,some require reserving your space in advance. Unfortunately we got stranded at Seaworld because the shuttle didn't show up, we waited over an hour in blazing heat. In the end I managed to contact the hotel through a helpful local persons mobile phone and the hotel paid for a taxi for us to return... apart from this we had no problem.

The toilet had issues flushing, the guest room door would lock before I could close it all the way. Staff gave me plenty of towels when needed and were promo when I requested further service. I had a great view of the pool, checkout for me was at 5 am and there wasn't anyone at the desk. Not sure why but i left my room card and a sticky note saying I checked out.

« Lovely lobby, dated rooms »

Check in was a breeze and parking was free. When I got to my room I noticed the toilet running and had to open the lid to jiggle the chain after every flush. However, the bed was decent, kids were enjoying the pool, Internet was ok, and the lobby was fabulous. Looked brand new or recently remodeled. You access the elevators from the main lobby. I had a 5a check out and the guest services gentleman made sure I grabbed a complimentary bottled water and a snack bar on the way out. Minus the toilet issue (very minor), they hit the mark on this location.

Best thing on this hotel is the location. Near everything you need, and easy acess to main roads in Orlando. Breakfast included in my stay was okay, not many options but covered the basics. Rooms were always clean, bed was comfortable.

    « Very pleasent stay. »

This was the second time we chose this hotel and we have loads of positive comments. Staff is extremely kind and helpful, free shuttle bus to Disney and Universals. We checked out early in the morning (long before breakfast served) and we were given a hot coffee and breakfast package to take away. I recommend this hotel. And for sure I will return once again.

    « Great hotel »

Visited this hotel in July 16. Absolutely loved it. The rooms are immaculately clean but a little in need of brightening up. Loved the fact that it was like an apartment type room as opposed to a hotel room. From our check in to our check out the staff were amazing!! Jose was outstanding and superbly professional. They even provide a car for a small fee to the airport..

    « Would stay again »

I find the employees always helpful, and always with great dispositions. Our first room had a musty odor. When I asked to change it, I was accommodated immediately. Very appreciated. Breakfast choices were excellent. Coffee available 24/7.

Very pleasantly surprised. Our room was very clean with everything in working condition. Great breakfast consisting of sausage, ham, cheese, eggs, waffles pastries and fruit. Friendly and helpful staff. It's at a great location on I-Drive. We will definitely go back!

    « Could be better »

We got some problems since our arrival. We got a room under remodelation and we had to wait almost two hours to get a room, Te front manager try harder to solve this situation and the manager make a great effort to please us. The rooms are clean and neat, The breakfast is good. You can have everything you want. Anyway, Orlando is a wonderful city but all the wonders are outdoors, you need a room just to sleep. Maybe we could return to this hotel if we know that our paid room is available when we get there.

At good place to stay in central Orlando with free Wifi, breakfast and parking. Friendly staff and nice surroundings with free towels by the pool. Furthermore the hotel lays in waking distance to Orlando Eye, Ripleys and more fun stuff to do.

« Comfortable and we had fun »

I stayed at Best Western, International Drive, Orlando for the second time in July 2016. The hotel (since my first stay in December 2016) has been renovated. It looks really nice. The breakfast is still filling and tasty. You get eggs, meat, waffles, fruit, bread, cereal, yoghurt, juice and coffee/tea. The beds were comfortable and the staff from reception to maintenance were polite, friendly and cooperative. Three cheers for Jose and Munya, when you talk about friendly and cooperative these 2 individuals come to mind!!! Oh yh!! There is an ATM on the premises and this hotel is within walking distance to a lot of restaurants and fun. The pool was warm and nice and my boys and I enjoyed it immensely. When I see people giving a bad review, I am wondering where exactly they went or how was their attitude?!?! Or exactly what were they looking for?!?! Steups! Would I (my family and I) go back to Best Western, International Drive??? You bet ya!!! Welll done folks!!

    « Highly recommended!!!! »

We were lucky to get a room on the busiest 4th of july weekend. Had a few issues with it but the staff made it right by offering us half off for the next night. We took it. Best decision we ever did. It was a plus that a Shuttle bus to Universal & Disney was provided. Clean room, awesome pool, and great customer service made our vacation memorable. Thanks, Jose. We will be back again.

Jose who works behind the desk is a wonderful person. He saw my son choking by the pool and came from the front desk to make such he was ok. The staff is very nice. I would strongly recommend this hotel to friends and family.

    « Great Hotel »

The stay at this hotel was nice. The hotel itself looks plain, but the staff are nice, the service is quick, and the rooms are clean and pleasant to stay in. It is a nice hotel and a reasonable price and will consider it again whenever I am in Orlando.

    « Lovely stay »

Lovely stay overall, was peaceful and staff was very receptive. Breakfast was good, with a hot option provided also. Rooms were clean and well prepared, with fresh towels everyday. The only advice I would give is do not use the Taxis provided by the hotel they are a rip off.

    « Perfect »

Proper price, clean, all amenities you need without getting fancy, close to everything - able to drive or walk to many things. I will be staying here every time I travel to Orlando. You can all to probably 50 bars and restaurants - take a free shuttle bus on the street to another 50 bars and rests plus some amusements.

« Over night trip with my daughter »

It is in a great location in Orlando. 10 minutes away from sea world, maybe 15 minutes from what used to be downtown Disney. Lots of food choices around the hotel in walking distance, McDonald's, Burger King, rally's, and other more upscale restaurants. Room was clean, I'm usually very picky about hotels I stay in but will definitely use this hotel again. Staff was pretty nice, the night shift worker let me borrow his phone charger, checkin was simple, and they tried to help me print my sea world tickets on their own computers. It's 30-45 minutes away from the airport but so is most of the tourist attractions in Orlando.

« Great location for a visit to Disney or Universal »

The rooms were simple and comfortable. The location is perfect for a visit to Disney Word or Universal Studios. Breakfast consists out of pancakes (mickey), fruits, cereals, bread, muffins. At the restaurant across the street (Uno) you can get some great flatbread. The nachos are really great as well. There is a Walgreen and Whole Foods not to far from accommodation for your groceries.

    « nothing special »

Correct, but without a good atention of the crew, they were technically correct, I had a problem with the reservation through Booking, and they could not help, invited me to pay directly. I telephoned Booking, and the reservation was okey. Nobody, manager and attendant solved the problem.

    « Ok I guess »

I and a friend decided to stay here for our visit to universal Orlando. We thought we could walk there but it ended up being to far to really be prepared for a day of walking in a theme park. We tried the shuttle but it was packed and dirty, so we ended up using a taxi to get to and from Universal Orlando. It was between $10 And $14 each way including tip. We did not know that there was construction until we got there, but it did not bother us since we got up before they started and went to bed after they had ended. The club across the parking lot is loud but with the louder air conditioning, the club did not bother us with noise and neither did the traffic. The air conditioning was cold and that is what mattered to us. The first room we got was under construction, but the service man easily got us moved with no problem and no going down to the front desk. He brought us our new keys and everything. The second room was clean but old. Had a musty smell until we turned on the air conditioning. The door to the room did not fit properly, so light was coming in through the door. In the end, I was not impressed with the hotel or the rooms. The location was good for food and shopping, but not for walking to theme parks. The service was better than expected. Would I stay here again? Only if I got a really good rate.

    « A Good Stay in a Family-Friendly Hotel »

Noise - due to kids (it's in Orlando, after all). Breakfast room which needs more space. It fills up fast when hordes of guests suddenly realize they overslept and rush down before the food is put away. A tempermental tv remote device (ours anyway). Tempermental front desk employee (bad day et tu?) AND not being able to sleep in due to landscape guys starting up the lawn mowers and weed wackers(REALLY loud) before 9am. Sheesh! Other than that, a good room, very clean, very comfy and reasonable price. Would I stay again? Most likely. My husband and I have always liked staying at Best Western hotels and this experience (not the greatest but far from worse) is not going to change that. And after all, this IS in Orlando. Lots of families, kids, etc. I would say that overall, our stay was the exception - not the 'rule' of the Best Western experience. By the way, although we didn't use it, the outside pool looked great! :)

    « Family Reunion »

I booked Best Western due to the fact that there were no available rooms at the hotel my family booked for our reunion. The hotel is currently under renovation, so it wasn't five star quality when my daughter and I walked in the lobby. As a rewards member I was given the usual goodie bag of two bottled waters and two granola bars. The staff was very welcoming. They informed us of breakfast (6AM-9:30AM) which is in the breakfast room by the pool. The selection is sausage patties, eggs with cheese, Mickey Mouse waffles, fruit, juice, milk, yougurt, bagels and toast. The breakfast room is small so it can.....no..it DOES get crowded. My daughter and I ate breakfast outside by the pool. The pool is 6 feet deep at its deepest point, and there is a swimming chair for individuals that are wheelchair bound. Now for the room, we stayed in room 308. It was clean, the carpet could use some cleaning but it wasn't sticky black type dirty. Just normal wear and tear dirty. The fridge has a bit of rust on iit and is outdated, as is the microwave. The third dresser drawer is broken and put together with scotch tape. The door has a two inch space under it, so bugs were able to crawl into our room. One night a roach (not a palmetto) crawled into the room while we were relaxing watching TV. The bath area is nice and clean. Loved the massaging shower head after a long day at Disney. Granite counter top on the sink which houses the coffee pot, the blow dryer, soap, and towels. The hotel is near plenty of restaurants and gift shops, and less that. Five minutes from Highway 4. Would we stay here again? Of course. During renovations, there is one way in and one way out. You will be issued a parking pass, keep it on your dashboard so that your vehicle is not towed. If you leave during the day and return at night, the security guard will ask you for your room number and will check for your parking pass. However, if you're walking to any of the nearby restaurants, then the parking pass of course is not needed. LOL.

« Great value for your money »

We stayed at another hotel in the area, but their rates were steep and not only they did not offer parking or breakfast, their resort fee was double was Best Western charged us. As soon as I entered the lobby was greeted by a a smiling clerk who allowed me to have a cup of coffee even though I was not even a guest there yet. After considering other hotels in the area we returned to Best Western at Jamaican Court in International Dr. Great location, clean rooms, fantastic breakfast and friendly and courteous staff sure made our stay pleasant

I liked so much the breakfast and the variety of food, the shuttle service to Disney is also great, in general we feel we made the best choice regarding this hotel. The staff were always willing to help.

« Great location, great staff »

We stayed 4 nights with the purpose of visiting Universal Studios. Very close to the park. The shuttle service was prompt. It's also very inexpensive to use taxi/Uber to the park. Great location for walking around during the day on International Drive. The price was just phenomenal for the convenience and presentation of this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Walk to bar(s), restaurants, and bus lines. Decent location, close to trolly stop. First room was musty smelling, they happily chanced my room. Good Beds, and hot water. PART of lobby was under construction, but not a problem. The closest place to buy park or bus tickets was across the street. Breakfast was fair

« Great place to stay if you're visiting Universal Studios !! »

We ended up in the International Drive Best Western because the hotel we had chosen before this decided that they didn't have available rooms at the last minute. To give a quick insight the staff was really friendly, good clean rooms, excellent quality sleep and very good variety to have for breakfast. If I ever go back to Orlando I wouldn't hesitate to chose this location again.

    « Excellent Stay »

We had an excellent stay at this quaint and relatively inexpensive hotel very close to International Drive, Orlando. Rooms were adequate as we were not planning to stay for the hotel facilities. The breakfast was also inclusive. The twin beds were a good size with comfortable mattress and pillows. Wifi was free and it also had a good selection of cable TV. Except the channels on TV were not labeled. The location was excellent with it being around the centre of International Drive and you can travel north or south on I-Drive. The trollwy stop were easy as it was 5 minutes away with easy access to a pedestrian crossing if you would like to corss the streets. It was also within easy distance of a Wallgreen supermarket and restaurants. Only thing with teh Best Western was the self laundry facilities were being renovated when we were there but they did make arrangements of guests to use the self laundry facilities of the next door hotel Hilton Suites. nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay. Checking and checking was a breeze and they had free shuttles to Universal and Seaworld. Note that the Seaworld shuttle requires a day before request prior to 9pm whilst the Universal shuttles were twice a day. It is for a to and fro services.

    « A OK stay »

Hotel undergoing a refurbishment so a little give and take needed. Pros: Good location on I Drive Close to various eateries - Italian, steak, Mexican, Indian, Chinese etc etc. all within walking distance. Front of house staff very helpful and obliging (abet housekeeping need more English and less Spanish). Free transport at various times of the day to Epcot for Disney, Universal and Seaworld. Driver very informative and always on time. Free wifi in all areas of the hotel. Rooms a little dated but all are under refurbishment. Cons: Breakfast - continental OK but repetitive. - hot breakfast of eggs and bacon very good but several days of what appeared burgers NOT acceptable. Fortunately there is a Denny's within walking distance and they supply first class food 24/7. Hotel prone to noise up to 3 am due to its location near a Dinner and Show location. This hotel does not have an bar on site which is a pity as a cold beer after several hours in a theme park would have been appreciated. The management is loosing revenue with not having this facility but Uno's across the road have a good selection of beer and wines. Conclusion: An OK hotel for the price, especially for families as it has nearly all that you could require, free breakfast, pool, transport to theme parks. For the more mature guests like us, maybe you would investigate alternative Best Western venues.

    « What a zoo! »

I would not recommend this hotel. They ran out of food for breakfast. The hotel staff needs to speak and learn English. We were surrounded by foreigners who come to this country and could not speak English. I learned their language when I was overseas. The room was okay. The lobby was being renovated and looked barren. I would not stay there again!

    « Good Service »

The staff were very friendly and gave good costumer service. Great location, The room were very clean. The breakfast was ok, do the job. Is under remodeling, but we did not had problem with that. The hotel made the vacation a good experience. Is closer to Universal parks but wasn't bad if you are going to Disney. Good price. Definitively we will come back soon.

    « Surprised. »

Wanted a hotel room for a 3 night stay that was in the south of I Drive, and a free shuttle service to the theme parks, got exactly what I wanted and surprisingly more, read previous reviews, some very good and a few bad,but hey beauty is in the eye of the beholder, the exterior has been painted, and good landscaping to the front, the lobby although undergoing refurbishment, was almost completed, there are very modern and comfortable sofas and chairs,3 computer terminals, with printers, free coffee on offer in the lobby to. room,116, had been completely refurbished, not any dirt to be found and believe me I am a stickler for a clean bathroom l even checked the mattress and pillows !,the bed was comfortable although the pillows a weird shape they were ok,maid cleaned each day, fresh towels, were provided too.out side the new patio area is very pleasant, the new pool area is excellent, towels are provided laid out at the side of every sunlounger, the disabled guest wether in a wheelchair or with mobility issues is well catered for here, rooms with disabled access also have accessible bathrooms, the swimming pool has a fixed hoist to lower a disabled guest into the pool a nice touch I thought, the only niggle I have would be the complimentary breakfast, who wants to eat every kind of cake or pastry for breakfast, and egg and turkey patties?!!!!,also it would have been much easier to have installed an automatic door very difficult to open when you have a plate in one hand and a cup of coffee in another unfortunately the majority of guests do not hold open a door for you.Overall the hotel is clean considering the total refurbishment it is undertaking, free wi fi in all rooms and public areas, the staff are polite and answer any questions you might have and the Manager was most helpful, and by the way the shuttle service was excellent on time and in a private car.would I stop here again..yes would l recommend..yes,was it good value ..yes.

    « Surprise on I Drive »

This hotel is far from a new installation but we found it to be a very nice place. The rooms were adequate and clean. The staff did their jobs and with a smile. The pool was large and refreshing. The breakfast was a real surprise with plenty of fruit cereal and warm dishes that were different and a delight. Best of all the price of the room was reasonable for the area. If we had a complaint it would be that Orlando is making out very well on room taxes.

    « Best Western, Orlando »

Let me start by giving the hotel the benefit of being in a large remodeling project. That said, we should never have been placed in a room near the construction with a roll-away outside our door. Construction should never have been throwing large heavy objects in roll-away before 8am. Carpet was so filthy, lights were not working. As I said, we were not in one of the remodeled rooms.

    « Don't waste your money »

This is deff not a 3.9 rated hotel. Very very outdated. Breakfast was disgusting and cost $9! I asked for a refund for our second day of breakfast. The pictures are very deceiving. If we had been staying longer or had our kids with us we would have changed hotels. Pay the $10 to stay up the Rd. They ask for a $50 deposit for incidentals but I bet you could replace the co tents of the room for $20. VERY DISSAPOINTED

    3
    « In a pinch stay »

When all else fails (or technically booked), this place works. Price is excellent. Rooms are definitely outdated. The pool appeared very clean, but did not go in to test. Will always keep in mind for last resort backup, but definitely well ahead of crashing in the car.

    « OK Stay »

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The breakfast was disappointing. The eggs were like rubber. The hotels lobby was being remodeled during my stay. The free shuttle to the area parks were on time and made getting around a lot easier. The driver was friendly. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Location was very good with many restaurants in walking distance. The breakfast is the only bad thing I can say about the hotel. All in all a good stay.

    « not a fan »

the hotel was under reconstruction/remodeling but the way it's advertise it seemed like all upgrades were completed. A male employee walked in with no short talking loud, to the point I had to cover one ear to hear my phone call. Then I guess he went into beak room and came out with a wrinkled shirt he threw on. Just very unprofessional. The room was run down, old but it was clean and smelled fresh, Flat screen tv 32", microwave, coffee, little fridge.... location is good.

    3
« Quiet Clean affordable yet close enough to attractions »

Nice quiet clean place if you're going to explore Orlando and not spend all your time at hotel. I just mean no activities except the pool. Will need a car to get to anywhere good to eat besides fast food.

    « Pretty Good Hotel »

I came down here to visit family with my boyfriend. Our room plans fell through at the last minute so unbeknownst to me, my guy handled everything and booked a room here. When you first walk in the lobby is in kind of disarray due to remodeling. Although there are floor boards missing etc. the potential and end results can definitely be seen. It's going to look really nice. There is an elevator here (Thank God!) don't think I would make it up 4 flights w luggage being 6 mths pregnant and all. Lol. Our room ended up being 419 right by the elevators. Although there is a potential for it to be one of the noisiest rooms it really wasn't too bad. The room had no weird smells as well as had a view over the pool. The carpet looks nice although I did not walk around on it. They have mattress protectors under the sheet over the mattress. The pillows look weird but are sooo comfy!! The bed was so amazing it makes me wish I had it at home. So sad to leave! Bathroom clean!! I have a complex where I'm not comfortable using bathrooms outside of my own. Air conditioner worked okay. Had a sanitize remote (never seen before) Overall I would say they offer a very comfortable stay. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!!!! Great location where there are plenty of things to do nearby within walking distance. If you come do NOT forget to eat at Uno right across the street from the hotel

    « Great deal »

I first chose another hotel, but once I arrived at the hotel, I knew right away I wasn't staying there. So I went onto Expedia to locate another hotel, an came across this hotel for 3 nights (Wednesday-Friday nights) for less than $60 per night. We drove to the hotel and was impressed right away. A housekeeper was cleaning one of the rooms, so I took a look and was even more impressed. Since I was on my cell phone and was kind of tired, I went to the front desk and asked if they were able to match Expedia because I was just ready to check in and did not want to go through calling Expedia. The front desk matched the price right away. I asked for the room on the front that I viewed and they accommodated me with no problems. The room was spacious and clean. Hot water with great water pressure. Perfect location across the street and close to restaurants, FunSpot entertainment, SeaWorld, Wal-Mart etc. The continental breakfast was what we expected.....Danish, beverages, cereals (cold and instant oatmeal), cheese omelette, and sausage, fruit, and waffles. The room was cleaned every evening once we returned. The lobby was under major renovations. Overall, I have no complaints. The room was great and spacious for a family of four and the price was perfect.

    « Average stay »

Overall this hotel was average there was good and bad points- Pros- Shuttle to the theme parks ( doesn't go very often ) Spacious rooms with what you expect in them Cons- The coffee machine was not cleaned once during our stay. The bath had hair in it from a previous guest. The air con was so noisy you can't sleep with it on. Breakfast was a free for all, showcasing discussing pigs of people with a limited stele toon of healthy options. Do not buy your Disney tickets here they charge an extra $25us and this is not explained until you have paid. Overall for the amount of options in this area I would recommend shopping around.

    « They saved my trip 3/25 - 3/27 »

I had a terrible experience with the Metropolitan resort on international Dr. After calling several hotels and them being sold out I reached Christina she was so sweet and made sure that I was able to see the room first before unpacking my car. After getting settled in a king size room which was all they had at the time. I asked Dakoy if I could exchange for a double the next day. My daughter, niece and I were about to go to dinner. Dakoy outside on a break stated that a double had come available and if we wanted he could assist us in moving to another room. I declined bc the girls were hungry and agreed to change rooms the next day. The rooms were absolutely beautiful, clean,it smelled clean from the time you opened the door, the shower was amazing and I slept like a baby after a very stressful night. Day 2 was topped off with Mounya we went swimming by the time we were done .She was waiting for me with new key cards for our new room and the breakfast was great. I will book with Best Western every time I'm in Orlando because of the Superior service the staff provided and the extra mile they went to make sure my Princess had a great birthday weekend. Thanks Best Western you Rock !!!!Christina,Dakoy and Mounya need a raise

Great hotel, across from I-Drive. Lot's of restaurants in walking distance, free parking (big plus!) If you are just looking for a clean room on International Drive, this is a great choice. Hot breakfast was nice...waffles, sausage patties/links...you can make a decent egg sandwich and keep on going with your day. Coffee was great!! Very helpful staff, they were able to check me in early so I could head to my conference. Overall great bang for my buck.

    « best west »

There were nearly a million hotels listed in Disney (I mean Orlando), so most people struggle with price and/or comfort and trying to find a balance of both. When I started searching and reading recent reviews, I found that the really cheap hotels were cheap for a reason. Bugs, mold, riff-raff , noise, poor service etc.. I am a Best Western rewards member and decided to check the area for them. I found this one and pulled the trigger, not the cheapest but not $179 a night like what the hotel at my conference was charging (at a group rate). I am very glad I did, the location was great close to I-4 and everything we needed within walking distance from the hotel. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the room was fine, bed was comfortable and enjoyed the breakfast. You cant help but have a great day after a fresh, hot Mickey Belgian waffle. I would stay here again

« A good hotel for the business traveler »

This is not a hotel with "flunkies" running around everywhere. It is a hotel that is ideal for the average business traveler who does not wish to blow his budget during the first day of his stay. The rooms are spacious and all amenities worked without calling maintenance. I will have to visit Orlando every three months and this is the hotel that I will be staying at.

    « Business trip »

This was my second visit here, again it was clean and tidy. The room I had was huge and comfortable, a little dated but was a very good price, in a good location close to restaurants and bars, very quick check in, I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. This is not a high end hotel but I felt it was good value for the price. WiFi was free and quick.

« Great location, breakfast and service »

The location of the hotel is excellent. We got an earlier check in, which I am really grateful about. The staff are super nice and helpful. Although the beds, floor and the bathrooms were clean, the room had a lot of cobwebs on the ceiling that was grey because of the dirt. The door did not shut fully; we could hear what was going on on the parking lot and the room was a bit cold because of it as well. The breakfast was excellent with great variety to choose from. I would stay there again, but in a different room.

« If you are a clean freak dont stay here. »

Best Western is normally one of the best hotels we normally stay at. It left much to be desired. I hope once they complete their remodel things turn around because it was pretty bad. It was from a dirty room to the phone not working. You could see the day light through the door. The curtains were torn it really felt like we were at a Motel instead of a Hotel.

An excellent bargain and great overnight visit. (I travel through Orlando frequently and this will be my new choice of hotels!) Whenever I have a rental car, this is the most centrally located and convenient location. Fresh exterior paint helped make this hotel even more attractive. Staff was excellent.

    « Great for a short stay! »

Our family needed a bargain hotel for a 1 night stay before heading to our Disney resort, since we were going to be arriving into town very late. After some research, we ended up booking the Best Western on International Drive. We were very pleased with our decision! It was easy enough to find, and smack in the middle of anything you could need. Our room was basic but clean, A/C worked very well, and had free WiFi. The pool was outside of our room, and our boys enjoyed a swim before bedtime. We were too exhausted to go anywhere out to eat, so we opted to order from the restaurant right next to the hotel-Uno Pizzeria & Grill. We were able to order online and my husband picked it up about 25 minutes later. So convenient, and it was delicious! Don't hesitate to book if you need something for a short stay in the middle of I-Drive.

Good value for money, room are large and are clean and comfortable.location is central on international drive, and the staff are friendly.the hotel itself is a little dated, but it's not a problem.great value for money.breakfast is a buffet and is sufficient, but the same every morning, however the hotel have informed me that they intend to change this in the next few months.overall,no problems, value for money

    « Good staff »

I am staying is 11 days at this hotel and I like it. Everything that has been contracted is being fulfilled till date. The staff are attentive, especially Cristina receptionist who works the afternoon and evening period. Cristina speaks Spanish, which helps me, always very helpful, friendly and efficient.

    « Short Stay »

Needed two nights in Orlando after returning from a cruise and the Best Western was our choice. It was located on International Drive and was near the things that we wanted to do. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. Good value for the money. Soon time to do away with yellow stucco interior walls though.

« Fantastic staff, bad rooms, decent breakfast »

I would definitely consider this to be more of a motel than hotel. But it is priced similarly as other much better options such as the hyatt place and courtyard. The place advertised renovated rooms, but As a best western diamond member, I don't know if my room was a renovated one or not. It was perfectly clean, but gave an old worn out feeling to it, especially the carpet. Also, since all the rooms face the outside and the location of the property is on I-drive, you will hear loud music into the wee hours of the morning. The staff though was fantastic in the few interactions I had with them.

    2
    « moldy rooms »

The room smelled from mold. We all were sneezing, coughing and had itchy eyes every time we were in the room, which immediately cleared up when we left the room. The AC was very noisy and the bath tub was old and rusty.

    « I like best western, but... »

Best western is a category - not all hotels are the same. This one is at the lower end of the BW category. Adequate. Staff very friendly though. For instance, there was coffee (not high quality) in the room, but no tea. Also, there was a period high-pitched whistling sound that was rather disturbing.

    « Best Western »

Very nice staff and helpful. Room was clean and price was great. I would stay here again as it was a last minute trip and we were able to find a place that allowed us to check in early so we were able to go to the parks with our kids.

« Think Twice Before Booking A Room »

Pick this Best Western because it is in the middle of things to do in Orlando. Bad mistake. The room had a real Funky Smell, needed to go to Walgreens down the block and purchase air freshers. The smell is coming from the A/C and it needs to be cleaned. I FOUND THIS SKID MARK ON MY SHEETS, HAD CLEANING CHANGE THEM. The good points the water is hot, with good pressure. The Breakfast is hot and good and is like most hotels the offer breakfast with the stay.

« A Good Hotel In A Good Location On International Drive »

The hotel was in a convenient location on International Drive, with shops and restaurants within walking distance and the trolley stop outside to take you further a field. It is a bit dated but clean and comfortable with all the facilities you need in a hotel including free parking and serves a very good breakfast. The hard working staff were all very pleasant and helpful.

    4
    « Met our Needs! »

We booked this hotel as part of our Getaway package with Jetblue. It was very clean...the staff was knowledgeable and always helpful...the lobby had a computer for easy access to print boarding passes and such. The included breakfast was very good, clean and a decent selection of items....the ladies that ran it were on top of everything. Nothing was empty for more than a minute or two. The location was great. Walking distance to several good restaurants and fast food places. Also it was across the street from Ripleys Believe or not! The beds were very comfortable. They are in the middle of remodel, but that did not hinder our stay. The only "real" problems were the elevators....one rarely moved when you got in it ( we staired the 4 floors several times) and the other one was missing buttons or the kept falling out.

    2
« Best Western International Drive »

The noise from International Drive (people screaming, tires squealing, sirens, horns blowing, etc.) and the noise from the nearby Nightclub (a consistent bass sound until around 2 am, along with the patrons in the parking lot whooping and hollering all night long) make sleeping here impossible. The hotel is going thru some renovations so in the day when we thought we could get a nap, that was also impossible due to the workmen outside making a lot of noise. We asked about being moved to another room and were told there was nothing available.

    3
    « Too much noise »

Everything about the room was fine although the bed wasn't the most c0omfortable and it would be nice if they gave you a real blanket as opposed to one that's barely as thick as the sheet. But the worst thing was the bar next door called Mango's....they stayed open till 2a.m. and they were very loud, so don't expect much sleep...if you don't mo ind that kind of noise then by all means book a room.

    « Most sensible choice »

This hotel was great for what we needed: somewhere to rest and shower after a long day at Disney. It was a bonus to have such a filling breakfast here too, especially when eating out gets so expensive! We had lots of questions and the staff was able to accommodate anything we needed. They even called their shuttle for us last minute when there were no Lyfts or Ubers available on a stormy morning when we needed to get to the airport quickly. Also they double washers and driers and they provided quarters for us to use them and they got our clothes clean in no time. Only problem was if you are a light sleeper the noise from the night club might be too much, but you will be too tired to care. Also if other guests are smoking it will go through the vents and you will smell it. Also did have to keep the air conditioning on at all times otherwise the room got stuffy had a wet smell to it. With air on you don't smell it at all. Also I wish there were more options for the shuttle times for disney and universal. universal is only one pick up in morning and one pick up in evening, so if you want to stay late or come earlier you have to call a left or uber.

    3
    « Excellent Location »

Room ok. Nothing fantastic. Breakfast ok. good place if you are on a budget. Housekeeping was good. Close to supermarkets etc. you can use the I trolley to anyplace on International Drive. Front desk pleasant enough.

    1
« Ignorant Front Desk Staff »

When checking in the man on the front desk never listened to my requests and gave me a room so far away from where I asked for, and with it being pre-paid I had no choice. Girls in the breakfast room were amazing and very helpful.

    5
    « Excellent Customer Serivice »

I stayed there for about a week to take my family and daughter in Disney. In terms of price it is great value. I found the very good breakfast with sufficient varieties of food. Although the building is old and I had some issues but I received an excellent customer care from management. General manager and his delegated staffs are really excellent. They have given the priority to take my concern and resolve it. This is really important for any business. I have plan to stay there again. I strongly recommend.

    2
« Great House Keeping, but skip this place »

My family stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. We are pretty laid back, but we will not be staying here again. First of all, the rooms were clean and the housekeeping staff did a fantastic job. There were no bugs that we saw in the rooms. The location is also great and very close to a lot of things. Now for the bad. The bathroom door had a section cut out so that the door would pass the toilet when closing. It still would not shut tight. There are lots of outlets for a hotel, but several of them were so old that everything we plugged in just fell out. The beds were both very old, but one was older than the other and was unbearable to sleep on. The pillows were worn out and provided no support. The bedding was thin and when you ask for an extra blanket, the night manager says they're out. Amazingly the blanket you wanted at 11 p.m. will suddenly be available at 8 a.m. when house keeping just gets there (also known as, manager is too lazy to go get the blanket because you can't convince me you had time to get that blanket back, wash, and dry it in the middle of the night when you have told us the staff is working minimal for the holiday and won't be back until the next day). Also there is NO PARKING. They have 135 rooms and 75 parking spots. They tell you to go park next door at the restaurant. We had specifically requested a handicap accessible room and were told we'd need to park across the street, but we could drop off those who couldn't walk. They do not care if people are double parked, and we were positive that they were renting out their parking spots to the club next door. Suddenly there were cones in the parking sports reserving a variety of spots for people. The morning we left a vehicle and trailer had managed to take up 4 spots when they were still short on parking. One day our room keys were completely shut down, but every time we wanted into the room it took several attempts for the doors to unlock despite them showing "green" when sliding the cards to open the door. The reviews claim that they have remodeled. They either haven't, or its a horrible job. The shower tile had a horrible patch job, handicap handles in the shower were pulling out of the wall, there were visible patches on the bedroom walls that were unpainted, and when my aunt walked passed, scratched her hard enough to cause her to bleed and need three band-aids. There is a washer and dryer, it is $3.25 to wash and $3.25 to dry, expect to run the dryer twice to dry the clothes. The breakfast provided is minimal and not worth the stop, try one of the IHOP's or Denny's down the street.

« Pleasant and comfortable stay »

Firstly I must say, in my opinion, most of the pics of this place must've been when the place was just built. It's not a pretty as I thought it would be. Apart from that, the place is comfortable. Decent room - fridge, microwave and coffee maker - along with flat screen tv and dressing table and cupboard. The air condition worked well and my sons and I were satisified. This hotel comes with a complimentary breakfast. My family and I stayed at Heart of I-drive in November who also said they had complimentary breakfast, haha, a joke of bread, cereal, juice and butter, everything else you had to pay for. At BEST WESTERN we had waffles, bread, jam, peanut butter, pastries, juice, coffee, tea, eggs, sausage, yoghurt (granola and raisin) all FREE to choose from. It was delicious. Let me give a big shout out to these people who work at BEST WESTERN... Lisbeth V. and Lisbeth from the breakfast area. So friendly, kind, helpful and warm, may God bless you and your families. Yolany and Daniela the housekeeping staff. Friendly, kind and pleasant. God bless you both and your families. The groundsman, sir you were so kind and friendly. God bless you and yours. Would I recommend Best Western... yes!!! It is in a great location, comfortable and who could beat a great free breakfast!!

« Good Bang for your Buck! »

I stayed at BW from the 24 - 26 of December. The hotel had all that I needed. Microwave, fridge, free breakfast and parking, perfect location and no bed bugs. I was so worried about them. If you want to nit pick at the details, the hotel was a bit run down and minor repairs were desperately needed, such as plaster on some walls, taps fitting in the proper place and light sockets flush with the wall not just placed in there. And the smell....damp mold smell but your nose was desensitized after awhile. ( I am interested to know about health and safety departments job) Overall, it had what I needed. I wasn't in the room for very long anyways. All the amenities that you needed. I love that the employees were able to eat the food at breakfast time. To me that meant, the manager cared about their workers. However, I did feel it was inappropriate to be in line with us. I would suggest that perhaps having their own trays in the back room would be more... ethical and comply to health and safety. (seeing as they are eating, are they washing their hands? are they putting food back on the floor? )

    « COMFORT, QUALITY, & CONVENIENT »

I love this BW property. It is in a very convenient location on International Drive in Orlando. The hotel is a bit dated but it is clean, (very clean) and comfortable, and the staff are extremly curteous and helpful. One issue, while not a problem for me, but something to be aware of, is English is not widely spoken with the housekeeping department. Check-in and out was easy and front desk staff always asked if I enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was well organized, and offered a nice variety of items. This is not a 5 Star motel but if you are looking for a clean room, quality breakfast, and safety this Best Western more than suffices.

    « Place is a dive »

This was by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Right off International Drive I thought it would be OK . I don't know who was writing the reviews but this place is a total dive. DO NOT STAY HERE. Plugs came out of walls, bathroom door was broken, tub was disgusting. Rooms were old and severely outdated. Smelled of mildew. Pool area looked like a crime scene.

    « A pleasant place to stay. »

We have stayed at this location several times and have found the location to be excellent for ease of travel, restaurants and attractions. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that the room key had a discount for the restaurant we previously had decided on, Uno's Pizza, adjacent to the hotel. It was honored without question by the restaurant. The room was clean and neat and a ground floor room request was honored upon arrival. We neglected to report the malfunctioning coffee maker when we checked out. This was due to the availability of the free breakfast (with hot coffee) served until 9:00 a.m. Staff refilled the serving dishes up until the cutoff, a service most appreciated. We will stay here again as we can depend upon the quality and services available. Mounya, at the front desk at check out, made sure to advise us of the "Welcome Back" discount which we will use if competitive the next time we visit.

    « Great Location »

Recently stayed one night here and was very pleased with the pleasantness of the staff, clean rooms and the great location. Great spots to eat and not a noisy atmosphere. Breakfast was served the next morning and was adequate and filling. Would recommend this to travelers in Orlando.

« Central, clean safe and friendly »

We stayed a couple of times at this location. It is very central to getting the bus/trolley. Near restaurants and shopping and great access to Internation Drive with the Trolley which is very reasonable. Standard breakfast. Pool was good. Room was a good size and we had a fridge and microwave. Nice clean bathroom. Very friendlly efficient front desk and cleaning staff. Would recommend.

    « Nicely located hotel »

The hotel is located at International, close to Universal Studios and Seaworld. Also a lot of restaurants are close by. The hotel itself was fine, room was clean. Too bad you hear a lot of noises from outside of the room. Staff was friendly and breakfast was alright.

« evertyhing is very good here »

I liked everything: position, parking, nice clean rooms, kind staff, swimming pool. The price was reasonable. We were offered complimentary storage room to lock our things while we were going for a trip to another city. The breakfast was American, with a lot of sweets but still you could find something to eat. The restaurant area was well maintained. Only the coffee could be much better...

« Really is pretty average, but the staff are helpful and smile and can talk »

Stayed here twice on my recent trip to Orlando and the Reception Team remembered me when I returned and welcomed me back - really impressive for a standard hotel in a busy location The rooms and hotel facilities are pretty standard, but not sure at the price I was paying I could expect more The hotel is motel style in layout with open corridors and this can make the rooms that face International Drive quite noisy - especially as the location is at the busier side of the Drive - this is a good thing, if you want to get out and about The rooms are a good size and really have everything you could need and want - two really good sized double beds and plenty of room. Annoyingly, as appears to be the standard in Orlando, the handbasin is outside the bathroom - which makes having your toilet a more shared experience than it needs to be The standard of housekeeping was really good and the standard of reception very good too The hotel offers a "free" breakfast, which is good if your expectations are low, but as it's free you can't complain - we didnt return after the first day, but plenty of people did The pool is small, but warm and the landscaping around the pool is far from engaging and relaxing, but it was a good place to cool down on a warm night I would certainly recommend The Best Western - its a pleasant enough place and as you spend so little time in the room it more than meets the tourists' needs Well Done Best Western - and well done to the Front Desk Team - excellent service

    « Beautiful and reasonable »

We stayed at this hotel twice in 2015 March and September each time for 10 days and will definitely be returning on march 2016 for another enjoyable stay. This hotel is excellent for the weary traveller or the family on vacation. Situated at the top end of International Drive it is close to all attractions and all the staff are very helpful from Abe at the front desk to the staff who clean the rooms. Breakfast is on a self-service with a host of different foods on the menu, the rooms are quite spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The pool area was cleaned daily, and all this at a very affordable price. I would highly recommend this hotel. The only bad thing I can say is that our holiday was too short.

« Perfect for the Convention Center »

I was in town for the NAEYC conference and stayed at Best Western Plus. My stay was very pleasant and comfortable. The staff was extremely warm and friendly. The proximity to the Convention Center was very close and is within walking distance ,though the conference provided a shuttle. The breakfast was very good and perfect to start the day. The rooms were neat and clean! There is also a really good family diner next door to the hotel.....Highly recommend!

« Should have been warned about the garbage truck! »

My husband and I flew in late and just wanted a clean quiet room to spend the night before completing our travels the next morning. The room was clean and the staff pleasant, however, at 3:00AM a very noisy garbage truck arrived and it felt like it was right outside our room. It immediately woke us and I'm sure every other guest trying to sleep on that side of the hotel! Totally inexcusable! Would never return and encourage any future guests to inquire about this noisy stirring in the night before selecting their room or deciding to stay at this property!

« Wonderful Staff, Great Breakfast »

This was my boyfriend and I's first trip together and I just have to say that our stay here was amazing. We stayed in room 125. From the moment we walked in to check in tired from a long drive we were greeted by a cheerful gentleman with a smile on his face. Our room was clean and very spacious. My only concern was that I had accidentally booked an accessible room so it had no bath tub. The shower was flat so the water would track all the way by the sink, My second concern was that house keeping came around at 8:15 am and you can hear the cart. Other than that Breakfast was amazing. House keeping does an excellent job cleaning the room and they're all so nice, especially Yami I don't remember her full name but I do remember that she is from Honduras. She was very kind and helpful when she saw me struggling trying to throw away a pizza box. I would recommend this hotel to everybody due to it's location, friendly staff, and amazing breakfast. Hopefully next time I get to try that swimming pool.

« Very small rooms and could do with some renovations »

I spent 3 nights in October 2015.The rooms are quite small. The breakfast buffet could do with variety and better quality options. The location is great. The pool is not very clean and so are the rooms for the price. The reception however was great.

    « Tourist trap »

I am not sure if it is a common practice in US, but when I arrived at the hotel they charged me a lot more than when I booked, which included something called resort fee. I had no choice but to pay as it was impossible to look for accomodations at that moment as we arrived in the evening and with our luggages. As a foreigner I prefer they put the FINAL price on their website when people make their booking. If I had known the resort fee stuffs I would have chosen airbnb.

« Great Deal, Great Location on International Drive »

We've been staying at this property for getaway weekends for years. It's the best deal we've been able to find on International Drive. The rooms are very nice, beds amazingly comfortable, service always good, nice pool, everything maintained in working order.

« Pleasantly surprised by the value »

When planning our first trip to Disney as a family of 4 on an extremely tight budget I chose Best Western for the price. I figured that after a long day at the parks a clean quite place to sleep was all we really needed. At Best Western on International Drive we got SO MUCH more. We started with a late arrival (after Midnight) and were greeted by a very pleasant man who made our check in experience quick and easy, which was greatly appreciated after a long day of travel. We got to the room to find it clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay including flat screen tv, in room internet, and the every important coffee maker. The breakfast provided was more than we expected and far better than the free muffins and weak coffee we expected. For my 11 year old daughter, making herself a Mickey Mouse waffle to start her first visit to Disney was amazing. There were also fresh hot eggs, bacon, toast, juice, yogurt, cereal, fruit, milk, tea, and quality coffee. The selection was very impressive. The last day of our stay we decided to spend relaxing in the pool, which was clean, comfortable, and heated so it felt like bath water. I have to say though, that the best part of our stay was the staff. Every employee we encountered, whether it was front desk staff, people serving breakfast, or just passing housekeepers in the hallway, everyone had a smile and pleasant "good morning". While using the pool a gentleman (I believe he was the manager, but I'm not sure) came and asked if we were enjoying ourselves and if there was anything he could do to make our stay better. But no, our stay couldn't have been better. Even checking out was a breeze. Our flight was super early so we had to leave at 4 am. I just handed over our keys and we were on our way. We now plan to make Disney a yearly trip and will definitely return to Best Western. We chose this place for the price, but will return for the service and value.

« Good for family stays »

Good local, easy walk to many restaurants in all price ranges. Close to universal and about 1.25mi from the Orange county convention center. Pool over looks the side / back of restaurant next door. For motorcycle riders there is no cleaning station nor was one offered when asked, for a hose and towals. There is also no covered or motorcycle parking. I would say this local is best for family stays, who will be spending there days at the parks.

We booked our room through our airline because we were arriving late and wanted a place close to the airport to get a good night's sleep before starting our car journey the next morning. Pretty standard mid range hotel with good breakfast bar and free Wi-Fi. Room was very clean and staff was very helpful and friendly. Great beds. I would recommend it for the purpose we needed.

« Average, if not for the saff »

When my girlfriend and I came to Florida, our travel agent had booked us into a hotel that was unbelievably disgusting, and made us feel unsafe. I have traveled through central america with a backpack, and the hotel we were in was the most unsafe and unclean place I have ever (almost) stayed ("Anice Inn by the way, avoid at all costs). Needless to say, we could not stay at that hotel so I was forced to scramble and find a new hotel. Luckily for me, when I phoned this hotel (the best western that this review is for) I was treated by one of the friendliest staff members that I've had the pleasure to deal with. His name is Abe, and he went above and beyond for me. He found me great rates and gave me a bit off of our first night which helped us a ton. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a nice hotel for the price, there was a great breakfast every morning, nice facilities, and convenient shuttles to the parks. Overall, I would say that this is a nice hotel for a cheap price. Obviously there are much nicer hotels out there, but the staff, rooms, and overall quality would be hard to beat at the price. Also, great location. Directly across from "Ripley's believe it or not" which was hilariously fascinating.

« gute Lage, trotzdem angenehm ruhig »

We enjoyed our stay, breakfast perfect, possibility to sit outdoors for breakfast, nice pool, spaceous room, easy check in, shuttle service to Disney World included, WIFI all over the place... HINT 1: We had a room wheelchair accessible (Nr 124) although we travelled without one. It was on the ground floor, the doors were wide enough but the shower doesn't meet the requirements of disabled persons - it was a bathtub! HINT 2: you can book tickets for Disney at a counter in the lobby for a fair price. Since there was nobody there, one of the receptionists (Jose) suggested bying the tickets in a shop just across the street if we didn't want to use the internet. "Prices are everywhere the same". He gave us a slip of paper on which he wrote his name and a number, we should give to the staff in this ticket shop and tell them that we got this hint from him.So we did and the following morning we had to find out that we got overpriced tickets (nearly $12 more per person that we would have paid at the ticket counter at Disney's). This made us angry and we felt cheated. Talking to him later in the eveing he said he had believed the prices were the same although he hadn't known for sure and he admitted that he get gratuity in form of a gift from this ticket shop. CONCLUSION: Buy your tickets at the counter in the hotel or directly at the ticket counter in Disney World!

    « CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE »

We stayed here to go to Halloween Horror Nights at Universals and the stay was very comfortable. I don't think that you can find anyone more scared and anal when it comes to hotel stays, bed bugs, insects, or cleanliness than me. We came here and was pleasantly surprised. I was looking online for an inexpensive hotel and after going through over 20 different hotels in my budget price range, and all the reviews, I realize that some reviews are good but some make you want to run. So I decided to stop by this hotel on my way to the theme park so we can check it out before we book it. I asked the gentleman named Dakoy at the front and they took me to one of the rooms so I can take a look before I booked it. I have to say, the beds are clean and comfortable, the bathroom counter was outside of the actual bathroom and was nice and clean as well as presentable. The bathroom itself was clean but not very updated. The breakfast in the morning was really good and they had a variety of things. The best part of my stay was my breakfast. Mounya at the front desk and the manager was very pleasant and friendly when we were checking out. The hotel grounds can use a makeover/paint, but the room was nice. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay while on a budget.

    « Very good hotel »

The hotel room was very clean and the customer service was very professional. Dakoy really helped me out and he also booked a reservation for me to go to the airport. Dakoy was so hands on and very respectful. I wish all of the front desk agents and other best westerns were like him.

« Great location - Poor customer service »

My family stayed at this hotel because of the location and affordability. The room was average; bonuses included a microwave, mini-fridge, coffee machine and free hot breakfast. For the price this hotel lived up to its expectations until there was a little problem. I noticed there was a leak coming from the ceiling in the bathroom just above the shower. It seemed there was a crack between the ceiling and wall that was dripping from the floor above. The bathtub was beginning to fill with water. I called the front desk to make them aware of the problem. I was told that the manager would be contacted. A bit later, the front desk clerk called back to inform me that she was unable to get ahold of the manager, the general manger, nor maintenance. When asked if the room would be suitable for the night, I answered no because the room was unsafe. The front desk clerk stated she would attempt to re-contact the manager. After another unsuccessful attempt, the desk clerk called back to provide my options. Either my family would stay in the room or go find another hotel (at this point it was well into the night). I was shocked to say the least. The ceiling was leaking and the desk clerk could not move to me a different room and suggested I change hotels!

We were in the "same" Best Western Hotel few years ago, I believed that it was then in the other location (somewhere further on International drive) The room was clean, staff was very friendly & helpful and the breakfast was decent. The last 2 days of our stay, the cleaner woke up us very early in the morning and then didn't clean our room at all! Towels were gone & I asked for support. Later on that day, the cleaner showed up again in the late afternoon & they wanted to clean our room (?!) I had no clue what they did. After our event, I spoke to the manager, he gave us some lame excuses and felt "offended" by our remarks. Hey dude, when we didn't give your feedback, how would you correct!! The service & your management was not Okay.

« Our stay at Orlando »

We liked so much our visit in Orlando. Best Western is so good, with a good staff,in special Mounya,an gentle and efficient receptionist. It´s located at International with Jamaican. At the corner we´ve restaurants, stores and so near,a super market.

« Decent for the price »

No real issue with the room. I had to change the initial room that was booked. When I walked in, it smelled "stale". New room given without fuss or incident. Staff is beyond helpful which made things better. Breakfast was actually really good. I would stay here again.

« good enough to stay for a few nights! »

the hotel is good enough to stay for a few nights, but the rooms are really not so nice. a very old and, this is what disturbed us the most, smelly room. it was impossible to open the window and unfortunately we had a moldy cellar smell all the time. on the other hand it was very close to the universal studios!

    « Nice staff BUT!! »

Initial booking made through "booking.com" was not found on reception so charged us at a higher rate for 3 nights even though we had showed booking confirmation from booking .com.and had to contact them to sort out with hotel...we have already been debited on visa higher room rate and still waiting for the promised refunded difference. To to it all off "BED BUGS"..never experienced before but know now.first couple off days wondered why had small bites on upper legs following the last night we stayed iwoke to find lots of itchy small bites..on complainng to the lady on reception..all she said was sorry must be little ants i will advise house keeping.

« Why Pay More Elsewhere? »

Got everything you need except a snack vending machine but when you can walk one minute to walgreens or the local supermarket, it's a small omission. Comfy and clean bedrooms, friendly staff, free parking, conveniently located between the convention center and universal. Access via bus and IRide Trolley to everywhere.
