Best Western Plus High Country Inn

We just returned from the BW Ogden and our stay was fair. We originally had a room in the main hotel, which needs an update desperately. The rooms in the building where the pool is are SO much better. They're suites and more spacious . Felt like a completely different hotel back there. Front desk was extremely helpful and staff at breakfast very friendly.

I found this gem while researching Pet friendly hotels off I-15. I travel with my dog and he loves the doggie park and walking the grounds. I've stayed twice in the past 2 months and plan to return on my future road trips. The rooms are SO clean, the staff are friendly & hardworking. The breakfast is very good with many hot choices. The dog park is equipped with doggie bags and I wish other pet owners would be considerate enough to clean up after their dogs! We want to be able to travel with our dogs and stay in nice hotels so please do your part! So they do not reconsider “pet friendly”.

Everyone and everything was perfect ! Great location and staff ! Great restaurant across the parking lot and great pool and jacuzzi too. Nice and clean and happy staff too… A+ ! I will be staying here again and again …

over all ok , just my luck to get a bad room leaking ceiling looked about to cave in the shower head was broken and the plugs in the lamps would not hold a square and there were no usb ports , but the coffee was good

The room was clean and breakfast was good. However both days we stayed, there was no hot water in the shower. So if you like cold showers this is your place. Lots of benefits if you have pets. Just disappointed with the shower.

We were traveling across country with our dog and 2 children ages 4 and 6 the hotel staff were kind, the rooms were clean and it was a fabulous experience. The hotel provided breakfast during the holidays. They are centrally located to food, gas and all amenities you need when traveling.

This seemed like a very well-run operation. The people at reception were friendly and helpful. The room was very nice with microwave and a large refrigerator. It was possible to park in front of the room which is always convenient. The breakfast room and breakfast were excellent. They had a nice fitness center which I used. They also had a pleasant outside area with a dog park -- actually two -- one for large dogs and one for small dogs. We stayed on Best Western Rewards points which we had accumulated before the pandemic. I was impressed that our Best Western points did not expire as was the case with other chains. I will keep that in mind when choosing a hotel in the future.

The staff were very friendly. The bed was small but very comfortable, loved having a refrigerator & microwave in the room which was clean. The gardens with a waterfall and lake at the rear of the hotel was a beautiful place to spend time and unwind. We spent at least 30 minutes strolling around. We loved the tables, chairs and umbrellas and enjoyed our late lunch there across from the lake. It was a perfect spot to sit & unwind after a long drive The pool was good but needs a little TLC. The included breakfast was great, this place has everything cooked fresh every morning at the restaurant next door. We just loved Best Western Plus Country Inn and wished we'd planned to stay longer.

Nice room, good pool for doing laps. Nice hot tub. The outside grounds out back were really nice to walk through. Breakfast was good too. Good selection of TV shows too. Lots to do locally as well as places to eat.

After seeing the reviews on this hotel I didn't expect it to have so many perks. I'll start with the free breakfast. Everyday is something different and their quality of food is excellent, so many options. The quality of bed and pillows was amazing, slept with no problems. The restaurant Jeremiahs that's the hotel restaurant had delicious affordable food! Now for the main attraction… the back of the hotel has so many scenic views, the koi pond, beautiful architecture and walking paths. So many seating areas with waterfalls and fire pits. They also have an event hall that you can plan any kind of event, from a wedding to a retirement party. I highly recommend this hotel.

Stay at this location a lot, nice area. Never had anything broken into parking lot is well lit. Check in staff are nice restaurant next door is very good. Rooms could be cleaner, never terrible but never great. Shower usually has hair in it and the linen never smells like it's just been washed. And carpet in most rooms has stains. Not the cleanest hotel.

Overall a really nice hotel. The price was decent, the staff was very nice and overall room and amenities were nice and clean. The grounds are especially beautiful to walk. EV chargers didn't work, the breakfast was ok We would definitely stay again

Staff have great customer service and breakfast is good. Rooms are very clean. Beds are very comfortable and the garden they have in the back is very nice specially at night.I would definitely recommend and I will be staying there again.

This a great hotel which offers a variety of choices daily for a complimentary breakfast. On site restaurant, Jeremiahs with variety of choices for lunch and dinner. There is a well-equipped workout room and an indoor pool and hot tub. There is also a very serene walking trail with Koa ponds and waterfalls with a patio area for relaxation. I travel about 40 weeks a year and this property is one of my favorite places.

I was so impressedd with this Best Western Plus hotel. The staff was so friendly and the landscaping and grounds are immaculate. Rooms were clean and very comfortable and the restaurant on site is wonderful and prices great. Highly would recommend this hotel.

Surprised by the high quality of furnishings in the room. Totally astounded by the Dog Park and gorgeous Gardens behind the hotel. Loved being able to walk a few yards to the excellent Jeremiah Restaurant right on the property. And all of this for a very reasonable price!

Stayed here several times! Always a great experience ! Close to everything, outstanding service, rooms have been updated since last stay so even better! Beds were comfortable, pet area and grounds always maintained!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and nicely furnished. There is a microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker available to use in the room. A fitness center and pool are included in a different building. Free breakfast in the lobby.

The room smelled of cigarettes and the The hotel was full, so there were no other rooms available. The only offered us a $20 discount to make up for the stinky room. The head housekeeping confirmed the stink, and offered us some high power air freshener. It helped a little, but the room still smelled. Not what I'd expect from a non-smoking hotel

Maybe the best all around hotel I've stayed at. Only real gripe is they have trees on the grounds that attract these dang flying bugs. The bugs find there way into the rooms. My guess is mostly from house keeping proping doors open. Anyhow, they can freak you out if you let them.

What a wonderful place! The staff was wonderful and the grounds were beautiful! Loved walking around the ponds and seeing the waterfalls. We were traveling with cats and the room was wonderful for pets! We enjoyed the breakfast they offered.

Comfortable and quiet with attached restaurant. Rooms and beds are comfortable, facility seems to be well maintained. Included breakfast was better than average as far as hotel food goes. Would come back here again.

Old school & totally cool. Literally ~ the room was already nicely cooled off which meant a LOT after a long day on the road in July. Kudos for excellent customer service ~ Jessika (yes, with a "k") placed me in the perfect room & I was able to drive right up to my own door w/exterior entrance. Older property, very well maintained. Loved the rustic yet classic decor. Everything was spotlessly clean. I slept well on super comfortable bed with nice linens & 4 fat, fluffy pillows. Generous supply of bright white towels. Microwave/fridge w/freezer which enabled me to for refreeze Blue Ice packs. In-room coffee. Easily accessible bedside outlets for charging electronics. Free wifi w/strong signal. Being so close to the interstate there was a bit of highway noise from heavy traffic but easily solved with earbuds. Grounds were beautifully manicured & everything was lovely ~ truly a park setting out back. Restaurant across the parking lot looked inviting but I was too tired to eat. Still had a long ways to go so I left out early early early the next morning & can't comment on the continental that didn't start till 7am. When I dropped off my key next morning, it struck me as odd that the front desk clerk was wearing a face mask post Covid...but ok, whatever. Highly recommend & will definitely stay here again.

The room was spacious and clean, everything was well kept. It was nice to have the restaurant (Jeremiah's) in the same parking lot so we could walk over to eat without having to drive any further. The gardens in the back were beautifully designed, and very peaceful in the evening. My only regret is not being able to check in earlier and enjoy it more!

Rooms were very clean. Loved the seating around the hotel. It give you time to relax with a scenic view. Rooms were clean and comfortable. I would definitely return again with my family. Overall great experience

Hotel has comfortable, clean rooms and is particularly nice for people traveling with pets since there is lots of grass and a small dog park on the property. We always stay here when traveling through Utah.

Sad to say our experience at this Best Western was disappointing. The toilet ran sporadically all night long, the heater was noisy, there was no hair dryer and the traffic noise substantial. On the positive side the beds were comfortable, the staff was friendly and the breakfast decent. We've stayed at a number of Best Western hotels, usually with pretty good results, but this particular hotel needs to step up their game.

Great motel set-up with outdoor areas, very good breakfast and additional amenities for the price. Very nice dog area for responsible dog owners. Quite, clean and friendly employees. Good location with great access. Parking lots felt safe without questionable people lottering around.

This is an excellent location if you will be skiing Snowbasin. It's right on the street that turns into the road going up to the resort, just over a half hour drive away. The single queen room was spacious with a couch, desk, and a good-sized closet. The comfortably firm mattress provided a good night's sleep after a hard-charging day. The large breakfast room on the premises means you won't need to wait for a table to get well-fueled for a day on the slopes. Bring your hair dryer as there isn't one in the room. Also pack a bottle of your favorite moisturizing lotion as the tiny bottles provided won't go far.

The web site clearly stated a pet charge of $25 which I was willing to pay. It did not say per pet I have two dogs. I was also not told that when I checked in. I have stayed at several BW properties and it is not this way. After my card was charged for two pets I called the front desk and she was very rude. They need to state their policy clearly. I travel with pets all the time. The walls are thin and you could hear other people. For the price I would skip this place and. Go somewhere else.

Kicked out of pool area a few minutes prior to 10pm. Pool was not opened at the posted time. When called front desk was told only maintenance could open the pool and he had not come in yet after the pool should've already been opened. Not apologetic or respectful in response from front desk attendant. Dog poop scattered amongst the entire property, stepped in numerous piles outside of dog run area. Although it's great to have an EV charger, the cost to charge my vehicle 50% was more than it cost to charge my car 100% at a DC fast charger. If it took longer than 8 hours to charge my car I would've also been charged an additional $10 an hour for a parking fee. I can understand charging for the use of a charger but as a paying hotel guest I feel that some charging should be complementary or should note the cost of charging on their website prior to booking a room. Fell below my experience for the best western standards.

We ALWAYS RETURN to the BW High COuntry because the experience here is absolutely stellar. The beds are SUPER comfortable, the rooms are dead quiet, the restaurant on the property (Jeremiah's) is superb. CHeck-in is always a breeze, the lobby is beautiful. Many, many years of return stays and we'll keep coming.

We stayed here for one night and were thoroughly impressed by the quality of this property! The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The entire property was well maintained and, during December, had a ski lodge type of vibe. There are many places to lounge outside in better weather, including outdoor fireplaces and seating areas. There are numerous walking paths and koi ponds at the rear of the property. The facilities for pets are fantastic! They have two dog parks, one for large dogs, one for small, and they seem to be clean, even though it was covered with snow when we were there. As already stated, there are many paths for walks. The free breakfast was very tasty, and the eating area was kept very clean and neat. We ate dinner at Jeremiah's on our night of arrival, which was very good. It was nice to have a restaurant within walking distance after being stuck in the car all day! This hotel is definitely worth a repeat visit.

Excellent hotel, reasonable price with a breakfast and restaurant onsite. Rooms are spacious and pet friendly. Nice fenced dog park area and beautiful lighted walking path. Staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely will stay here again!

Meeting with client, check in was smooth and I received a warm welcome and was quite surprised at the quality of the facility compared to the price. Breakfast was high quality and the room was clean and neat. The dog park was clean and well maintained.

We stayed for a night on our way through and it was awesome. Beds were comfortable, rooms nicely appointed and very clean. We weren't traveling with pets but saw the park and excellent accommodations for those traveling with pets as well. We're staying again on our way back home. 1000% recommend.

After 10 hours traveling in the car, tired and hungry I arrived at the Best Western. I was upset when the Clerk told me that I was charged for someone else's room and that they clear it up, jokingly I said, I hope they aren't occupying the room you assigned to my wife and I. Well we loaded up are arms with luggage and went to the room, no joke, one of life's embarrassing, the room was occupied. I was irritated, went to the lobby, got another room and all I received was an apology.

The lodging was adequate for our needs, as we just needed a place to lay our heads for the night while traveling across the country. I was shocked, however to learn at check out, that their stated $25 pet fee was $25 PER pet (plus tax). I would have chosen a different motel if I had known I'd pay $85 for the animals to stay with us. Anyway, the room was dated but clean. We needed to head out before taking advantage of the breakfast. That might have offset the cost. So… Worth $209 for one night? No.

Very dog friendly. They have two fenced areas for your dog, large or small. Lots of poop sacks. Beautiful walking paths with fountains and ponds. Conveniently located right off the freeway. Our room was clean and comfortable. I was impressed with the breakfast room attendant. I didn't get his name but he was on top of everything. He helped people, kept the room and tables clean and the food well stocked. Greeted everyone when they came in and wished us a nice day upon leaving.

Great hotel and staff, really nice to have a restaurant on the grounds! Well kept hotel! Staff was extremely helpful in setting up my next night stay! Liked all of the extra amenities that the hotel provided!

Chose this hotel because of repeated good experiences staying in a Deluxe suite in the back building, as well as the proximity to a restaurant. Bit taken back by the high beds, nearly 36" high; I had to drop down to reach the floor, and I am 5'9"

My husband and I were in Ogden for the wedding of our grandson. We had not made prior arrangements for a hotel. We went to Best Western because we have a rewards account. The front desk was able to find us a room (busy weekend) within just a few minutes. When we went to the room, we were just blown away. Such a beautiful facility and the view out our window of the landscaped grounds was wonderful. We so enjoyed walking by the ponds, feeding the fish, admiring the plantings, etc. Very nice.

did not reserve the room we requested (on the first floor). My wife has difficulty climbing stairs. Even though we were assured that would not be a problem 9 days before we arrived. But at eleven pm at nite who is going to quibble?

This hotel gets top ratings from us. After travelling a 12 hour driving day, the ladies in the office got us checked into a room with a view of the mountains, tucked back away from the road. This was not just any room, they provided us with a Suite because they didn't have a queen room that was not near the road. They also signed me up for the Rewards program to get a nice discount off our room. Breakfast was incredible and the room was very clean and very well appointed.

This is a wonderful hotel. The new addition is terrific-can get a balcony room overlooking the beautiful grounds.We would suggest to ask for the new addition. Great location right off the freeway and close to many options for dinner.

This hotel is just off the freeway, but it's like walking into a mountain villa when staying there, the building looks very rustic outside, they have a beautiful walkway the is around a good size Koi pond where you can feed the Koi, also have a few outdoor fire places with seating. The rooms are a nice size, pretty clean with decent showers that are higher up than most so if your taller you do not have to bend down just to wash your head. The pool is fully indoors, but only goes to 5' deep, and has a nice hot tub next to it. Also have a nice workout room too. Have a large room for breakfast with a good variety of food and ability to make your own waffles, an on site restaurant for lunch and dinner.

We stopped in for the night. Friendly front desk employees. There's a nice restaurant next to the hotel. They have a dog run area and has an awesome back area. The back of the hotel has a walking trail, a big pond with Koi fish and an big area for hanging outside.

i STAYED HERE LAST YEAR 2021 AND BOY SO MANY PROBLEMS BUT IT WAS STAFF ISSUES AND ETC tHEY ARE BACK ON TRACK AND doing well. Very beuatiful setting with nice grounds and places to walk dogs. Located in same parking lot is a great restaurant Jeremiahs. helpful staff. Nice lg room breakfast room was lg enough to be pleasent. Eggs however were terribly dry with no moisture at all. tho all other food was fine.sausage was good fresh fruit and the usual affair breads cereals yogurt pancake maker. suggestions real oatmeal better eggs and we would be nearly perfect. all and all a good deal.

Has a very quaint, grassy, enclosed dog area. “Animal-friendly” rooms are nice solid surfaced floors. In our room, toilet was comfort height which is great for those with knee issues; rooms have great lighting (not dim) so one can see what they are doing.

Our room was clean. The beds were comfortable. Shower had hot water. So overall, stay was fine. There are a couple of things that need to be improved. The door slams shut every time you open it. It is quite dangerous for kids and elderly. Breakfast, which has a nice selection, is only open from 7-9. There is a big rush at 7:00. Breakfast needs to be offered earlier, as other hotels do— there are lots of travelers staying here trying to get going for the long drives from here!

Satyed one night before heading north to the Golden Spike National Monument next day. This hotel was very comfortable and staff very pleasant and helpful. I cnnot say nore so this sentence is to fill up to the required 200 spaces!

Loved the Best Western Plus High Country Inn! It looks and feels like a ski lodge at Jackson Hole but at a fraction of the cost. The rooms are large and well-appointed; the grounds are beautiful, as well. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are in the Ogden area.

I arrived late to the hotel and we were really tired. I wish I would have complained about the odor of our room but it was too late at night. The next morning I woke up to take a shower. The bathroom had paint peeling from the walls and mold growing on the ceiling. The worst part was when I went to put the soap on the soap dish I noticed a pubic hair sitting in the soap dish. This was not acceptable to me. The breakfast was OK but not great. The best part of our state was the Koi ponds that were outside. Really cool.

Hotel grounds were beautiful. Events are held there. Unfortunately my room was little more than average. There was no insulation around the so light and noise came in. Room was on the very end lower floor. I could hear the smokers at the communal ashtray outside my door, and the people at the tables at the end of the building, and the garbage collection truck and the people in the room above. There appeared to be suites in the interior buildong that may have been better insulated. And they had patios. Customer service was very good.

Wonderful staff and very affordable. We brought our kitty for the stay and she was only an additional $25. She was able to walk freely around! The room was very spacious and great for the cost! Would definitely recommend

We were able to pre check in before our arrival so upon arrival it just took a minute. The room was spacious and clean and had refrigerator and microwave. The clerk was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was one of the best I have seen with a gteat variety of cold and hot items. There was a beautiful park area in the back with walking trails and ponds. It was easy off and on the freeway.

We stayed here for one night on our road trip west. The check in and check out process was fast and smooth, and the room was accessible from a close parking spot which made load in and out very easy. The air conditioning was mediocre, and the bed was a bit small for only one bed in the room, but otherwise everything was great!

The new "Garden" is spectacular. We came for just a night passing through and we actually wished we had stayed longer. The breakfast was fantastic and the room we received was clean and quiet, and the bed was super comfortable. We will always stay here when passing through!

The grounds of the place are stunning but there is a lot to be desired especially after driving 2500 miles. The room was 180$ so I was hoping to have a restful experience night but not the case. Next time

The grounds of this place were great for dogs. The rooms were in need of an update and a good cleaning. The bathroom was dark and small and dirty. Good for dogs and location is convenient as it's right off the highway.

We were making a trip to Montana, needed place for a stop for the night. This was a good choice, Quick and easy off the I-15. It was clean, quick, quite, plenty of parking. Breakfast was pretty good, a bonus for sure. What I really missed was walking around the grounds. They had a beautiful are in the back with a little pond and running water. I wish I would have arrived sooner, It would have been a great place to sit and unwind.

We requested to stay an additional night. I was charged and additional $40 for the second night. This was not disclosed when I placed the request to stay. This was during the week. I called and they attempted to explain it away by saying "the rates always change, even on the same day." I do not know how this would stop them from informing me. Only stay the days on your initial reservation. Go somewhere else if you need to stay longer. I could have stayed somewhere better, with more amenities for what they charged for the second night.

This place is beautiful and has everything to make your visit relaxing and fun. We had a very big selection for breakfast. The lighted falls in the back were beautiful. There was also a big outdoor fireplace you could see when you drove in

The bathroom floor and bottom of toilet were dirty. Shower curtain liner barely fits in shower so have to be careful to not get water on floor. Website says pet fee $25 but when you get there it's $25 per pet! Not worth it.

My wife and I needed a place to stay off the highway, found the BW High Country Inn by chance. The hotel was nice but the pond and garden were an unexpected treat! The grounds are lovely and provide a quiet respite from the noisy highway. You cannot see or hear it's, instead are treated to a beautiful view of the Wasatch front.

Its a very clean and nice hotel, its hands down great place to rest and relax. staffs are great and the hotel location and the yard, yes there is a walk place u can walk your pets. its a super nice family place.

The rooms are spacious the staff is friendly the AC is cold We are traveling with our large dog and we're delighted to find a separate dog park on premises just across the parking lot for large and small dogs which was adequately appointed with a dog drinking fountain as well as an adult and clean up facilities plus plenty of room for the dog to run what a delight after a 10 hour day of driving

Wow, I can't say enough. the location is great close to hwy but you can't hear it in the room. We didn't use it but has great indoor pool and gym area. Has a dog park on site too. And if you want to enjoy some time outdoors there is an area with koi ponds, waterfalls, and walking paths. Also has an event area great for weddings or other events. Room was spacious clean comfortable bed.

Easy check in. Knowledgeable staff. Clean pet room. Great gardens. Great vinyl flooring in the pet rooms so no smelling of dogs that pee in the rooms. There is a small park behind the motel with a waterfall and gardens. Nice place to stretch your legs.

We were on a 4 day road trip, staying in different towns and hotels. This one, which looked good from the photos, offered the least in terms of quality, cleanliness and good breakfasts. We cannot recommend.

We were on 2nd floor front. Traffic noise from street was horrible! Soft bed. Bed was made up weird. All 4 sides tucked in. Bottom sheet, scratchy light blanket, top sheet, comforter. I was told this was intentional. We removed the light blanket. Only electric plug was used by clock on one side. Tinny bathroom. Big fridge! Good breakfast! Nice furnature! So pluses and minuses. Jeremiah's restaurant next door was fine for dinner.

A little pricey compared to other Best Westerns . The breakfast selection was not complete due to me co ing in at 8:30 and they wanted everyone out before 9. The desk staff was very friendly and employees on the grounds were very helpful

Excellent stay! Beautiful place. We loved the Zen Gardens and Koi ponds. Had a nice walk through the gardens after Dinner. We wished we got there earlier to enjoy relaxing at one of the many seating areas with fireplaces. As this was early spring I imagine they would be more beautiful later. Check in and our was easy. REALLY Great people at the desk . Thanks Josh!

Very warm greeting at the front desk, in a lodge-like room with a lit fireplace. It's a beautiful facility. Our room was the quietest ever, despite being in a busy location in Ogden. There's a berm that keeps out traffic noise. I'm giving it a high rating despite the disappointingly cold breakfast (cold eggs, sausage and bacon.) In the future, I would appreciate it if Best Western (and all motels) installed safety bars in the shower stall.

This is the worst BW we have stayed in. Service was acceptable but the room we had was very outdated and probably pet friendly which wasn't disclosed at time of booking. Bed was uncomfortable. Carpets were tattered and furniture was chipped.

One of the prettiest hotels i've stayed in. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice restaurant on the property. Room was comfortable and well appointed (fridge and micro).I slept well and enjoyed staying here very much.

Best Western Is the best! The prices are very. The rewards are good! Service is good. Good Breakfast. Overall fun place to get away for a few days or just for a night out. Lots of locations If they could make the rewards more user-friendly that would all most make it perfect to stay.

The hotel staff was amazing, and our room was very clean. Our kids enjoyed the pool each night. The waterfalls and koi ponds in the back was wonderful also. The hot breakfast was great. The beds were very comfortable, not too hard but not too soft where you feel like you will roll into person that you are sleeping with.

Front desk employees are always very friendly and make you feel welcome. Great assortment of snacks, supplies and souvenirs available in the front lobby. Rooms are clean and spacious. Beautiful pond area in the back to walk around and feed Koi fish.

Clean room, comfy bed. Nice breakfast selections. The lobby decor reflects the "High Country" feel. Lobby fireplace massive. Older section has rooms opening to the outside. New section has all rooms inside. If stay in new section, you do not have to walk outside to get to the pool/hot tub area.

Staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast had a great selection, also fresh fruit. Restaurant next door, close to interstate without the noise, and ski slopes just 18 miles away.

What an excellent stay. All the staff we met during our stay where outstanding. When I think of Best Western “Plus” in the future this is the place I will be using to compare it to. Excellent lobby and reception, good sized rooms, room clean and stocked with plenty of towels, soap and coffee, excellent breakfast, separate dog park for large and small dogs, a garden with walking paths, waterfalls, ponds and fire pits, a restaurants you can walk over to, gas station across the street, plenty of parking and space even if you are towing or driving big rig, easy access to Interstate. We will be staying here again.

Great place to stay, we had an issue with a leaking toilet but it was fixed very promptly. We have dogs and this hotel had a great dog park that I've never seen at any other hotel that I've ever stayed at. In back of the hotel were beautiful ponds and waterfalls and a nice walking trail. Would definitely recommend this hotel!!

We enjoyed our stay here because it was quiet, and it was close to Powder Mountain and Snow Basin. Having a hot tub after skiing was a welcome amenity. Due to Covid there is no room service however we could restock our room by contacting the front desk. We also enjoyed the included breakfast.

We loved our stay here! There was a dog next to our room that wasn't adjusting well and kept barking. I went to the front desk to ask if we could move rooms since my toddler was struggling with falling asleep due to the noise. Jessika and the gentleman working the desk assured us that it was no problem at all and immediately assigned us to another room. The beds are also comfortable, the rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast is great, and all the employees we encountered were fabulous. I highly recommend this hotel!

Chose this because of good Pet reviews in #BringFido. Clean. Larger review on Yelp. Quick overnight stay. Clean comfy, extremely nice and accommodating staff. Micro and fridge in room. Good breakfast choices. Good night sleep. Property is huge! Snowy but lots to explore outside with 2 dog parks separated by size. Off leash park.

Our stay was excellent. The room is very nicely appointed, good space, very good condition. The dog park is absolutely best we've ever had at a hotel. Divided for large and small animals is brilliant. Our only disappointment was the shower was luke warm on the hottest setting. However we'd still stay again in a heart beat.

We really enjoyed being able to stretch our legs after a full day of driving by walking around the beautiful gardens out back. It was a nice treat! The ladies at the hotel desk were very nice and friendly.the dinner was good and cheesecake after was amazing! That said, the room needed quite a bit of TLC and we wouldn't take a shower in the hotel room's bathroom!

Because of the rewards program, we stay at Best Westerns whenever we can. This particular one ranks as one of the best that we have stayed at. The rooms were large, clean and well appointed. The breakfast room was nice and the breakfast was standard Best Western, nicely done and more than enough food, but nothing fancy. The nice part of this hotel is the landscaped walking path they have behind the hotel. Beautifully done. Also the restaurant that shares the parking lot was very convenient and the food was good. Will definitely stay here again.

Our stay at the BW High County Inn was among the best experiences that we've had at a BW. The room was very clean and beautifully decorated. The same can be said of the entire property. We were in a ground floor room, the inn was full, but we had no noise issues. The staff that checked us in, Josh and Jessica, did a great job checking us in fast, of making us feel welcome, and making the process fun. In the morning Tara checked us out quickly and was very helpful with local questions that we had. Someone knows how to hire employees with great customer service skills!

I booked this room as a road trip overnight stay. But I was so surprised that it was so much more with beautiful grounds, enclosed dog park, waterfalls and koi pond. The best part was Josh at the front desk! He bends over backwards in his service of others. I wish I could hire Josh!

The front desk was very friendly. We drove 11 hour and arrived at 11:30 pm, very tired. our first time staying at a Best Western. Upon entering our room it was not cleaned at all, bed unmade, trash laying around and towels on the floor. In all my husband and I travels around the world and in the US we have never entered any of our accommodation dirty and uncleaned. After returning to the front desk, Josh was very apologetic and accommodating us in the new building, king suite room. It was very clean. turning down the bedding there were stains on the sheets of which I took pictures and paint chipped off the wall by the night stand. and a gallon of water in the night stand below cupboard. It appears house keeping is not doing their job very well. Josh went the extra mile to make sure our kids room was cleaned as they drove 11 hour and were arriving an hour later. He also gave us two complementary Gatorade drinks. Thank you Josh! Continental Breakfast in the morning was nice.

We stranded in Ogden because our car broke down, and at very happy with the friendly and accommodating staff at the Best Western. We had issues with getting a rental car to continue our journey, and the prognosis of whether we would be able to check out in time changed a few times, but the staff were very accommodating and allowed us to check out late without any fees. Overall the staff was very friendly and helpful, so we would gladly return.

Easy check-in, had info on file. Gave us same room as before, overlooking the garden on the first floor in the new building. Knew to turn off noicy HVAC, Forgot about the extended bed frame below the mattress so bashed leg again!! No hair dryer, front desk brought one but it was inop!! Standard breakfast with make your own waffles.

I stayed here on 10/3 in room 163 and was looking forward to it, we've been here in the past and had a generally good time. This time not so much. The cable kept skipping and freezing... Ok, I'll blame that on the cable company and not the hotel. There was a wet, dirty towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door left by a previous guest. Gross, but mistakes happen... Though I've never seen that before. No hot water. Lukewarm at best. Now that's unacceptable. We may think twice about staying here again.

I had read all the great reviews so was expecting a special motel. However, I was disappointed. Maybe some of the rooms have been renovated, but ours was not. It was dated and dark. The room had a hole in the wall where the door had hit it numerous times. The sink was clogged. The grounds were extensive and would be enjoyable during warm weather. The staff was very pleasant. Full hot breakfast. So, a mixed experience which was probably not worth the price.

Beautiful inn near a mountain that reflects light and seemingly glows near sundown. The outdoor park/garden landscaping is nice. The dog park is is divided in 2 sideds one each for smaller and larger dogs. The inn is tastefully decorated in western motifs. You know you are in the American West! A good restaurant is on site. If you like burgers, Don't miss theirs. Various seating areas. A designated smokers area. Hypo allergenic rooms as well as dog friendly rooms available. Excellent breakfast

We enjoyed our stay here for one night as we passed through the area. It is an older hotel that has been completely renovated and added onto. Our check in with Josh was great. He was enthusiastic and very proud of the property. Our room was in the older section but had been completely remodeled and felt very up to date. It was comfortable and clean. Out back is a beautiful little park area with paths, a waterfall and ponds. They created this area with a raised berm for privacy to separate it from railroad tracks which was ingenious. The breakfast was above average, with several hot food items.

Thos motel has a beautiful setting and nice lobby. Tho we checked in and they were busy. Had to go back and get the key bc the front desk clerk didnt give it to us. Then we entered r room that had other peoples suitcases in it. They were sold out that night. so they eneded up giving us a handi capped room. Minor adjustments but not the room i was suppose to get. to be fair it was a covid issue with staff. hoping they get it worked out. the manager was fair and gave us some compensation i will say.

In Ogden for the night. This is the best Best Western hotel we've every staying at. Beautiful grounds behind the buildings and a good sized dog park. Breakfast was a complete buffet and very clean. Staff was exceptional.

Josh and his associate were wonderful in getting us settled. The main reason we picked this property was because of the ev charger on premises and because they take dogs. I had noted that in my reservation and they were all set for us. They gave us a room part way between the dog parks and the charger. When we got there a nonEV Jeep was in the charging spot. Josh and associate arranged to get it moved so we could charge. And the dog park was a nice amenity. Our dog loved it

This place had a beautiful wedding venue with ponds and water falls. There were 2 dog parks. The room was nice, clean and comfy. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast was a full breakfast and delicious. Everyone was super friendly

For a disabled accessible room, the hotel assigned a room in the back of the property with sidewalk ramp 30 yards from most parking spaces. The building had two entry doors which weighed about 75 lbs each neither of which had accessible door entry buttons. Poor design for those of us with physical limitations. Rooms are spacious, beds and pillows are comfortable.

We always stay here with our dogs when traveling. They have a very nice clean fenced dog park. Quiet and comfy. Very close to the freeway. Adjacent to a full service restaurant. Breakfast was very good.

I am traveling cross country and plan on staying at Best Westerns if they're all as nice as this one! Friendly staff, daily breakfasts with different options, and a dog park!! What a pleasure and relief to know they thought of our pets! I would gladly stay here again.

It's a bit dated outside and inside but it was clean, comfortable, and safe. staff were very helpful! Pool and hot tub areas were clean and they replenished towels as soon as we called. Tow suggestions: get refrigerators that get cold and set the hot tub temp higher.

Great hotel experience!! We are a family of 6 and got a 2 king room that had enough room to fit 2 more queen blow up mattresses! I was expecting a smaller room but was impressed with the size. Had a private balcony attached to it. With a beautiful view of the koi ponds. Which my kids loved! Everything was open even with COVID, so that was a plus. 1 of our favorite places to stay when we go visit family in Utah.

Front desk staff very friendly and excellent at their jobs. Room was wonderful, good beds, very clean and had a great view out the balcony. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. Easy on and off the interstate an added bonus.

The hotel rating was grossly over stated from the rating that it was given online. Everything about the room was old. The moment you opened the door there was a horrible order, so much we made a quick trip to the grocery store to purchase air freshener plug-ins. The front door had a difficult time closing, the toilet kept running when the toilet was flushed, the toilet paper holder wouldn't hold the roll of toilet paper - the roll would fall to the ground when used, the A/C unit made a terrible noise when turned on making it difficult to sleep. the bed was worn out and the bedding was very scratchy, and if all this wasn't bad enough my wife had to kill a spider that was crawling towards her feet in the restroom. All in all just a horrible experience, we checked out after the first night of a three night stay.

This hotel was like staying at a mountain resort. The location, style, amenities, room, restaurant, all were exceptional. I will definitely be going back to this location again. They have several outdoor seating areas with fireplaces, a walking trail by water fallls, and to ponds stocked with koi carp you can feed.

This is a beautiful, inviting property with thoughtfully decorated common spaces and rooms with a great staff! that is a cut above the norm. I had what seemed to be an oversized NS King room with a balcony (table and chairs) overlooking the beautiful grounds (koi ponds, open spaces, walking paths, seating areas and waterfalls) that are magnificent. Parking is plentiful and safe. The proximity of Jeremiah's restaurant (breakfast, lunch and dinner) is wonderful (get there early as there is often a long wait at primary meal times on weekends). Only one drawback, and this is still a tough time for staff during the pandemic I know, but I marked "cleanliness" at "4" because my bathroom had some hair in the tub/shower (a little, but...), and the bedroom glass table surfaces were sticky. I asked housekeeping for some assistance and all was made perfect immediately with some extra attention and pleasant demeanor! Otherwise, my room seemed clean and tidy (including a disinfected TV remote). They have a nice indoor pool and well-appointed fitness center with views to the beautiful grounds. Yet, what really made my stay delightful was "Rachel" at the front desk for both my check-in and check-out. She accommodated my room requests and was incredibly welcoming and professional: a world class employee to be sure! I cannot say enough about her and her staff...everyone at the hotel was friendly and willing to help make my stay pleasant and comfortable, but "Rachel" certainly stood out. This is a great place to stay, and I cannot wait to go back!

Very nice dog park with separate sections for large and small dogs. Large, well appointed and clean room. Triple A discount honored which made a very good value. Very large indoor pool and hot tub. Beautiful water feature outside on the premises next to a conference center also on site.

Don't be fooled by the outside appearance of the place, nor the so called multi million dollar renovation. Apparently all the money was spent on the lobby area and a meeting/wedding facility, and NO money was used to renovate the decades old, and run down rooms. Filthy old carpet, extensive water damage on the bathroom door molding, and scuff marks/dents on the doors. The shower curtain rod was about to fall off, as the screws were only 1/2 inserted, and the chrome hardware was so old the chrome was actually peeling off. I asked several other people the next morning if their rooms were equally bad and they said yes! One room apparently also had large stains on the carpet that appeared to be from vomit or possibly a pet accident or two. The breakfast was equally appealing. This facility should not even be rated a standard Best Western, let alone have the “Plus” designation attached!!! When I complained to the woman at the front desk about the conditions of the room, showing her pictures as well, she replied that I got a great deal at $120 as the room normally went for $220… My advice, stay away. A month earlier we stayed at the Hampton Inn downtown, for less, & it was wonderful. Best Western Corporate… Do an on-site room to room inspection of this affiliate immediately, and please revoke their association status until they meet the standards your customers expect and deserve!

Beautiful grounds! Had a room in the new wing of the hotel-it was a very nice with a balcony, nice and roomy and a great bathroom arrangement. I would definitely stay here again (in the new wing). Not sure what the other rooms are like but from outside they definitely appeared much older.

My husband and I had taken a 6000+ mile road trip across the country. While wonderful, we were on our way home. The High Country Inn gave two road weary travelers a wonderful welcome, quiet room and excellent stay.

Very quiet hotel, comfortable mattress, Close to downtown Ogden but far enough away to avoid the noise and crowds. Beautiful grounds, comfortable outside sitting area to chat with family. We enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi and outside grounds with koi ponds.

We travel a lot and have stayed at many places, but this was probably the best Best Western we have visited, we had a king suite with balcony, and the room was huge with a living room-like seating area. We were on the first floor and had a nice walk out patio that overlooked their beautifully landscaped gardens with a small waterfall and pond. The bed was quite comfortable and clean and the breakfast was good. I would highly recommend it.

The exterior of this Best Western in truly unbelievable. The waterfall and koi pond were way beyond my expectations. Very nice accommodation. When most places are restricting or even eliminating a hot breakfast, this place goes the extra mile to provide a nice hot breakfast.

Our dog was very happy with his own play yard. Very nice room and clean. Beds were comfortable, so the humans in our party were pleased as well. Wish the breakfast hours were a little longer so we could have enjoyed.

I have stayed here many times. It is my go to place when I am in Ogden. The room is always clean and quiet. I have always felt safe even when I am by myself. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is as good as any hotel free breakfast. It is great that Jerimiahs restaurant shares the same parking lot.

I do not recommend this place. Turned down the bed and there were hairs on the sheets, you can hear the conversations from neighbors like you were sharing a room. Couldn't wait for the night to be over.

This was a great location. Easy on and off I-15. My room was extremely clean and had an amazing walk out porch overlooking a serene pond. Rooms have solid walls because I heard no one much at all. THEY HAVE FULL BREAKFAST AGAIN!!! They keep it super clean and inviting. Actually its one of the best hotel breakfast I've had in years. I got there late and coffee was gone, but that's on me. Front desk always has coffee on. Plenty of parking. 2 floors high so there isn't an elevator, FYI. I am a CLC member and when I checked in they said they had no more CLC rooms that night but did give me best rate available this night. Internet worked fine. I will definitely be staying again.

My husband is disabled and uses a cane. Our bathroom was so small and the toilet so low, he was in even more pain by the time we left the next morning. We will never stay at Best Western hotels again.

Great place to stay, roomy....clean. Would stay again for sure if ever in the area again ! So nice to go in and have a sit down breakfast, friendly service and no masks to have to wear. Would recommend !!

This hotel is very well located . They have rooms with a view on a waterfall and the mountains. Excellent restaurant, Jeremiah' s on site . Staff members are very friendly, professional and helpful. Great breakfast included.

While the facility is nice, our experience needs the attention of management.....we checked in on a Monday, got the 'keys' to our room and we were on our way. Tuesday at 1 pm we tried to get back into our room and we were locked out.......well, the person that checked us in was 'in training' we were told, and only programed the keys for one night....same trainee forgot to ask us if we wanted our room cleaned every day....well after we were able to get back into our room we found that it was not cleaned so we went back to the office, and asked to have our room cleaned, now it was about 1345, and they said now, but here are some things and we will clean, etc tomorrow....which they did...now comes Thursday, we get back to our room about 1600 hours, and our room was not cleaned again.....so much for having the bed made, new towels, restock the coffee and tea.........we were not impressed with the services provided.....ALSO....the rooms are 'old' and in need of a lot of refreshing, and updating.

Traveling with a pet and were assigned a pet friendly room. Very tired room to say the least. Carpet was frayed in spots, there was a chip in the ceramic sink, door frame going into the bathroom was rotten at the bottom, impossible to contain water in the tub when taking a shower which probably explains the rotten door frame, and one curtain on the window was half off the rod. Best Western can do better than this. Seems like if you are traveling with a pet, they give you the most rundown room in the hotel. Just saying....

Stopped for 3 nights, very happy with Paid a little extra for a private balcony room, which overlooked the new gardens in the back. Still underway, a tall berm blocks nearly all of the adjacent highway and train noise, and the pond and trails lend a nice touch to a highwayside hotel. Will be even better when the plants fill in. Indoor pool and hot tub were pleasant and clean, (and open!) loved the filtered water filler. Breakfast was, surprisingly and happily during these times of restrictions, hot and varied daily. Coffee good and plentiful. Recommend paying a little extra for the newer rear building.

This hotel was very nice. There's a big parking lot for oversized trucks or RV's. The decor of the rooms is very clean and simple but nice. Furnishings were fresh and comfy. Love the Adirondack chairs in every room and the mountain view is beautiful!

I have stayed here 6 times in the past year. Single & travel with a small dog. Chose this hotel because of the dog park. First couple times the dog park was clean & kept up. The old hotel was clean but needed updating.. felt safe. The restaurant is fabulous!!! Rooms I stayed in before on ground floor on the back side weren't available with pet. But they weren't occupied. You sign a $200 contract not to smoke in the room. It was clearly smoked in resently. The room smelled, I had to open the window & turn the fan on to help. Black mold growing on the door frame to bathroom. Fridge was never cleaned. Not sure why it has gotten so bad, perhaps their focus is on the new lodge (no pets allowed). Took my dog to dog park.... had not been cleaned in weeks!!! No one picked up after their dogs & hotel had not cleaned it. One of the front desk girls was not wearing a mask. Very sad they have let this place go. It felt dirty & run down. Needs better management!

This is a new hotel and is very clean and well kept. It is close to the main highway and the staff was very nice and speedy. The cafe across the parking lot needs a lot of help though, save yourself the disappointment and go anywhere else.

No hot water, terrible beds, thin walls, breakfast was cold/ or out. No coffee. Very disappointed. My child drank sour milk. Requested government rate, was not granted. Would not stay at this hotel again.

My family of six had plenty of room in this beautiful hotel. The pictures on the website don't do it justice. There's a pretty pond in the back of the property and charming bbq/picnic area. Great place to stay while traveling.

Stayed one night, No shower curtian in the tiny bathroom, toilet moved inches when you sat on it. Our door did not latch - push on it and your in the room. Not updated... everything felt old and used. Hot water ran out half way thru shower. Loved the dog park - was probably the best feature. Would rate lower except the dog park was a great feature! Neighbors were in and out of their room all night. Kids doing donuts in the snow in the parking lot next to room.

Great hotel. Auto upgrade. Amazing facility. We loved the pool, hot tub, and fitness center. It was a great way to start our day of travel. The deck was superb too. From the time you walk through the door until the time you leave, it feels like being at your aunts house. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice as well. It felt like we had the entire building to ourselves. We enjoyed our evening so much that we didn't have time for breakfast in the morning.

Excellent and convenient. Stay included pets - easy parking near room for loading and unloading. Right behind our building was a very clean, safe and well lit DOG PARK - so helpful! Great restaurant located in the hotel parking lot. Left an item in room upon checkout and the front office staff (Jennifer and Rachel) went ABOVE AND BEYOND to assist with return of the item left behind. Would highly recommend this Best Western and will always be my first choice when in the area.

Facilities are run down. A few co-workers were assigned to rooms that were torn apart for remodeling. Lots of oversight and lack of pride by personell. The complimentary breakfast is cold, dry and the lady whom works that area is very rude and acts like she hates her job, customers and life. This place could be a very welcoming and successful property if they had better staff and a positive leadership.

Our room was very clean and we felt safe from Covid (November 2020). There was a restaurant on site with delivery to our room by a mask wearing waitress. The bed was comfy and the TV was nice. Amazing dog park out back.

The hotel itself was ‘ok' but the receptionist gave no information or help during check in process. She told us our room number and how to get to our room. Nothing more. As a platinum member I generally received at least a pleasantry and usually an offer fir an upgrade, or extra points, or a little snack. There was no information regarding breakfast, check out, etc. I never received a receipt. I ended up calling the front desk twice to ask for different bits of information. Not very efficient on their part. They were not overwhelmed with customers when I checked in. There were a couple of other issues that I can't recall at this point. I just remember thinking I would stay elsewhere next time.

Everything was great except the mattress(too hard) We always stay here and all other times was very comfy. The dog park was so great. was able to play fetch with my pup and get some exercise after driving all day!

Our road trip to Utah's big national parks, and this was only an overnight. Due to the surge of coronavirus in Salt Lake City and Provo, we selected Ogden. Hotel was easy location right off the freeway. Covid-19 precautions were in place at hotel. Our room was basic, roomy and clean, had seen better days but well kept. Breakfast was in breakfast room, plated and served by staff. This hotel offered more for breakfast than other Best Western Plus hotel.

We wanted a little staycation with our kids and chose this hotel specifically because it said it had a pool and Nintendo listed as their amenities. We got there and had to wait over 20 min for check in even though there was just one person ahead of us. We asked about the Nintendo only to be told they never had it and one day management should take that off the website. No apology. We tried to swim but the pool was closed because they were tearing the chemicals and changing the water in the hot tub. Why did they have to do that during the busiest time when people want to swim? Do it when the pool should be closed! On top of that the shower had no hot water. We called and were told it was because there was so many guests checking out and it is what it is. Again no apology. You would think they would have enough hot water despite the number of guests checking out. Awful service, no amenities, and no hot water. Would never stay here again.

I reserved rooms for my mother and me and my son and his girlfriend 2 months in advance of our trip. We needed 1 petroom with 2 beds and 1 regular room with 1 bed. I made and paid for the reservation 2 months in advance and called 2 weeks before to double check everything was as planned. Got to the hotel tired after a long day of driving and was informed that all that was available was a room with 1 bed for the pet room. I asked about my reservation and was told that was all they had even tho the website listed multiple rooms available and I over heard people arriving after me getting a petroom for 3 people - clearly not a 1 bed room. I PAID in advance for the rooms I requested and I used Best Western's website but I STILL DID NOT GET THE ROOM I PAID FOR. The front desk clerk - Stephanie - told me that was what I get and she would not do anything to help me because I needed a pet room and this was the only pet room they had. So infuriated- please save yourself the aggravation and find another hotel.

We camped a lot of this trip but chose to stay in a hotel for the night we happened to be in this area. This hotel was great, the staff at the desk was friendly and helpful and got us checked in for a later arrival with no problem. Room was pristine, kept up to date, and very comfortable. The hotel was easy to access and easy to get back onto the highway. There was a wedding reception happening at the catering facility in the back which we had a view of from our room which was fun to watch out the window (as a person who works at a resort that hosts many weddings, maybe it was just the right kind of comfort to me). We ordered a take-out breakfast from the restaurant in the morning which was GREAT and I will post a review there separately too. Thank you for the great stay!

Beautiful grounds the ponds were amazing the short trails, the fire pits beautiful such a very relaxing evening stroll and morning short little walk ... Beau the restaurant... second to none great service and good menu

This is hands down the best Best Western we have ever stayed at! The room was very clean. The entire property was very nice and landscaped beautifully. The dog area was completely fenced and very well tended to, and large enough to play fetch! The restaurant was on property so we didn't have to travel, plus they have a full bar! Plus, there was a hot breakfast served! Traveling during COVID can be a bit scary, but they did a great job of allaying our concerns.

I can't tell you enough how impressed I was with my stay. I was on a long road trip & had done my research on the surrounding hotels, especially checking for cleanliness and precautions taken during this pandemic. Everything was wonderful. From the check-in, everyone was wearing a mask & were so friendly. I got the King room with a patio & it was perfect. You could open the door for fresh air & you could open the window. I was on the ground level & there were 2 chairs to sit on outside. Being overly cautious that I am, I had wiped everything down with Clorox wipes. Doing that, showed me that the room was impeccably clean, no dirt or dust on my wipes. I like to stay at 5-star hotels generally, but for this trip, I wanted safety, cleanliness, and health was my priority. This hotel checked off all the boxes. It was nice, super clean & safe. Highly recommend for your next road trip. P.S. This is so conveniently located off the 15 AND there is a gas station a block away!!

Very clean and with a bit of woodsy charm and so convenient. They are putting in a beautiful green space with waterfalls behind it. Great trout at their restaurant. Front desk was so helpful when we came in for a funeral. We never stay in motels, but this felt different because it was so clean and honestly more welcoming... partly because the lobby has a fireplace and nice little gift shop and place you would want to hang out if it were snowing outside.... Not modern and updated but that's not my preference so depends what you're looking for. Beds were very comfortable. Like the kind you don't even notice because they are just right...? Easily as comfortable to me as the ones at the more upscale Westins and Hyatts we usually stay in.

When we arrived at our room we found a housekeeping cart directly blocking our room door. That should have been our first clue to leave. It was obvious walking in to the room that the housekeeper had not finished cleaning the room. And apparently had bailed & had no intention of coming back. Our first call was to the front desk to ask housekeeping to come back & finish cleaning. I was informed that they must have left because the clerk was the only person on the property. She did offer to move us to another room but it would have not accommodated our family of 5 with as many beds. Or, she said, if we wanted to stay in the current room she could give us a discount. After looking around a little more, we decided we could live with this room. On cursory glance it appeared that the basics of cleaning had been done so we opted to stay. But over the course of the evening more & more deficiencies became apparent. *Pillows in middle of 1 bed, pillowcases just laying next to them. *No bath towels in bathroom *No bath mat *Hairs on ledge in shower *Napkins & clutter behind night stand *Ick under toilet rim *Hair pile on coffee table *Kleenex on floor *Some sort of candy? Behind chair in corner *Cushions not seated correctly on one hide a bed *One hide a bed had fitted sheet, other did not. Not sure if one with was clean sheet *One hide a bed mattress was filthy. Huge stains *Cleaning rag left on desk *Cleaning cart left right in front of door. *Crumbs on surfaces & floor. *Dirty Soap dish not cleaned in sink. *Shower curtain not on rod right - had to fix in order to take shower. Fortunately the housekeeper had conveniently left the housekeeping cart right outside our door so we could just take the supplies we were missing throughout the evening. And it was still there the next morning by the way. I thought it laughably ironic that a sign on the the breakfast room door outlined their “enhanced” cleaning standards during the COVID pandemic. Fortunately the clerk gave us a decent discounted rate. But we will never stay here again.

I always return to this Best Western. It is clean, the stuff is great. I would highly recommend if needing a place to stay. There is a small walking or running path, with ponds. One can enjoy a quiet and peaceful moment.

I can't even say enough goodabout this hotel! Amazing,- rooms were beautiful, grounds were outstanding, staff was friendly and welcoming. The restaurant on site was the same and the food was delicious. Visit here and you will not be disappointed!

Were into a 12 day roadtrip and booked this room in transit off the freeway for a good price. Beautiful large lobby, good checkin service, clean very large room with mini fridge and microwave, coffee in the room thank you! Little tiny store next to lobby if you needed anything (no wine or beer), small grab n up breakfasr. Right off freeway. Convenient. We really liked it. We had some snack foods with us so we didnt go out and dont know what's close by if you need to. Would stay here again and recommend it.

Property under construction in back, yet not mentioned on website. WORSE though was the cigarette smoke coming into our room through bathroom and closet in the middle of the night. EVEN WORSE, we were charged full price, no manager available, and then manager never called us back when we left message the next day. ABSOLUTE WORST, we are BW platinum members that use their hotels as we cross the country 3x per year!!!! AVOID!!

This is a great property. The staff is friendly and helpful. They welcome pets and even have a dog park! The rooms are large, the beds are comfortable, and the scenery is exceptional. This is the Best Western Hotel by which all others should be judged.

great place if had a gift shop even breakfast in a bag was great during covid 19. very greetable workers. even the those taking care of the lawn were pleasant and wanting to help. had a restaurant that would deliver food.

Lovely landscaping with walking paths and koi ponds. Nice sitting areas and well cared for dog park. Lobby was beautiful. Room was just soso. Carpet needed cleaning. Toilet seat was repaired 2 spots instead of simply replaced. Friendly staff, nice little sack breakfast and good coffee.

This would have been a 5 Star rating except for one and only one reason. There was no non-slip bath mat and the shower bottom was very slick. I only had the shower head to hold onto getting in/out of the shower (at 73 it is a safety issue). ALL other aspects of my stay and this hotel were excellent (5 star).

Price was on point! Staff..... top Notch..... coffee, better then expected, food amazing! (Recommend the scones) clean, quiet, and super comfortable! We will be back! Close to attractions. One of the best Best Westerns we have been too.

Right off the freeway and on Canyon road leading to Snow Basin ski resort. This is a Best Western motel which is both clean and comfortable. The only concern I had was the fan noise. (I could not figure out how to put the fan on constantly). I ended up just turning it off at night, which worked out fine. Hot and cold breakfast was good.

We stayed in 9 Best Western hotels on a 14 day road trip and this was by far the nicest. The lobby, breakfast area and room were all beautifully furnished and maintained. The on-site restaurant had great service and good food at a reasonable price. Our room had a wonderful mountain view. The heater/air conditioner in our room was noisy which is reflected in the Sleep Quality and Rooms ratings below. We were too tired to complain but notified the hotel and I'm sure that they will address the issue.

I took a business trip for a few days and brought my family. It was perfect! Thee room was spacious and comfortable, and accomodated all of us very well. Very clean, but looked very nice and elegant. It felt more like a higher-end resort. Very quick responses from all the staff. Very nice. I'll be staying here every time I come to this city.

During a business trip, stayed here with colleagues. We really liked the well-kept area of the hotel and the clean, spacious rooms. The staff was courteous and polite. The only remark to the staff: I ask you to be attentive to the writing of surnames and names on the check. I did not pay attention at discharge, my fault, someone else's last name and first name was written there. Perhaps this is due to my complex surname :) In general, the staff is cool. Free hot drinks, snacks, a bottle of water and fresh fruit in the morning near the reception were a pleasant surprise.

What an amazing hotel. More like an Oasis off I40. This place had waterfalls, an amazing dog park, walking paths, incredible breakfast, cleanliness, and great Customer Service. To top it, the value was incredulous! What more would you want?

New area, great location off the freeway, really easy in and out, balcony, pool, breakfast. The best Best Western I have ever stayed. Very clean. I was upgraded due to a mix up and they were so easy to work with. Very cool.

The front desk girl that helped us was extremely rude and had a snotty attitude. To top it off at 9am the maid just open our door and THEN SAID HOUSEKEEPING!! me and my husband were in bed! Good thing we weren't EXPOSED! I WAS SO MAD! Who walks in and then says HOUSEKEEPING?????

Check in was good & helpful, ladies were kind. Room was clean. Room was quiet. Bed was Horribly Uncomfortable, it was a long night . Breakfast & help there was Excellent! I would stay here again if I had a decent bed.

The staff is very friendly & takes the extra steps to make an enjoyable stay. Pets are truly welcome here & the outdoor pet area is excellent. Hotel breakfast and Jeremiah's restaurant were both great. The location is quite convenient to the Business Depot Center. North ski resorts are readily accessible. We have stayed here several times over the past 18 years & will continue to do so.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very nice "dog friendly" motel. Very nice, paved walking trail behind the motel. The breakfast was improved from a "grab and go" bag to a continental breakfast with bacon, potatoes and eggs, and waffles along with the usual continental breakfast fare.

The room itself was quaint. The outside surroundings were noisy because of the closeness to the interstate. Don't understand why there were no towel bars. The fridge and microwave and coffee maker are always plus amenities. There was no weather strip on the door so cool air flowed freely. The heater fan was also noisy. Good staff and having a quality restaurant close was nice. Good to have free WiFi, even if not strong. Could be five star with small improvements.

While I typically refuse a motel with doors that open directly to the parking lot, glad we chose this one! The rooms are freshly cleaned, microwave & fridge included, nice mission style decor, and the complementary breakfast was out standing. The property is comprised of several buildings- pool in the farthest back, breakfast room in the middle building, etc. We did not use the pool as did not want to deal with getting back to our rooms with wet heads. Breakfast was down the sidewalk with the entrance facing the back of the property- know people have been upset that they couldn't find, however the front desk staff provided us a map and simple directions. The breakfast was outstanding with different choices each day - waffles and scrambled eggs as always there - French toast, bacon and sausages were added in on some days. The food was nicely presented and very high quality. We added a second day to our stay and would have added a 3 & 4th had we not needed to be well south of Ogden.

This hotel always has staff at the front desk, keeps the rooms clean, and has a very nice heated indoor pool. The rooms are average (nothing fluffy or fancy). Take coins if you have to do laundry because the laundry machine debit payment is periodically offline. If you are traveling for work, there is internet, a decent sized desk, and a consistent morning breakfast available.

We love this Best Western in Ogden Utah, we've been returning to this property for 10+ years, we've NEVER had a bad night here. Even during the renovation and construction this has been a great place to stay, recharge, have a swim, a nice walk, and a good dinner for us on our travels. We'll keep coming back...

Comfortable and clean. Toilet loose. The sofa was impossible to get comfortable on as the pillows offer no support. The walls are a bit thin. Skip the eggs at breakfast. They are awful. This place was over priced compared to other places I stayed on this trip south. It was very convenient for my dog with direct access outside. I like the convienient location.

One of my better Hotel experiences, staff is friendly and helpful, the front desk clerk treated us more like family than customer. I'll never stay at another hotel chain, Best Western has all my business

The room was newer and VERY comfortable....all staff were friendly/hospitable and helpful...very clean with indoor pool, hot tub and well-equipped excercise room. Breakfast was well stocked with a great variety of choices. Improvements made are stunning...I have stayed at this hotel many years in the past and was pleasantly surprised on this visit. I will return.

Overall this was a very enjoyable stay. Every staff member I came in contact with was friendly and positive. They have a nice breakfast or take alkng bags if upu dont have tome to sit down to eat. I felt the room was about 15% overpriced. The room decorating is a tad dated and the bathroom is teeny tiny. Not a huge issue.

I stay at this hotel when ever we travel to Grand Junction because it is convenient from I-15 and is a great hotel. We try to plan our timing when we travel through Ogden so that we can make this hotel our stop for the night,

This is a really beautiful Best Western. It had a lodge feel. Bathrooms were big, beds were comfortable. Ample parking and a gas station near bye. Staff were super friendly. Coin laundry. Cute gift shop in the lobby I believe it has complementary breakfast too.

My sister - and her dog - were driving from Oregon to Colorado and I wanted to find her somewhere welcoming and safe to break her drive and stay. *THIS* place was perfect. She felt welcomed and safe and her dog was comfortable too. She enjoyed her large, clean room and took advantage of the amenities. Her breakfast was also satisfying and she was happy. JESSICA at the desk was SUPER helpful and nice and dealt with all of my inquires and calls with patience and grace.

It is a motel style property with a nice courtyard. Close to the highway which was convenient. Breakfast was ok, nothing special, but adequate. The room was noisy, opening directly to outside. Jeremiah's restaurant is just across the parking lot and the food was good. Home style cooking. Internet was a little patchy.

Wen we arrived 15 minutes early for check-in the room was not ready. The attendant said she would call my cell when room was ready. We drove around town for a while, but never got a call. We returned to hotel and a different attendant was there. The room was ready, but one problem, the windows and door were covered with boxelder bugs. We called and they sent someone right away, but only could vacuum up the critters, so it was not a perminant soulution. Ok, the room was very nice, very clean and very nice to stay in. We have a small dog and the room was pet friendly for a $10 / day pet fee. There was plenty of space for her cage for sleeping. There was a microwave and refrigerater, coffee/hot water dispenser, all the amenities you would expect. Staff was responsive and friendly. The heater system worked, but fan was rather noisy. Television was good size and quality, but the remote was not as user friendly, took a while to figure out best way to get your channel selection. Wi-fi worfk flawlessly. Beds were good, but not great, bedding was crisp and clean.

The rooms were clean and the living space was extremely comfortable. They are renovating, however, it never interrupted my stay. The location was excellent with a restaurant right next to the hotel and with their new amenities building everything you would need was close at hand.

This room had two sofa beds and two normal beds. For the price I paid I have never seen such a large room. They property is a little large and without a map you would get lost. The hotel seems very nice and parts of it seem really new.

Ogden UT best western was not as roomy and clean. There was key cars issues, the breakfast was limited options and some days were cold, maid staff did not service the room regularly and had to.ask for.service.some.days.

Because we are both handicapped and can't walk far or climb stairs we asked for a room on the first floor near an entrance. We were given a "deluxe" suite in the new building. Yes it was right by the door, but as no carts available in the building, we had to make multiple trips to get our stuff inside. Nice little balcony overlooking the new garden, with table and chairs, but it was raining out so didn't enjoy. Tastefully decorated, lots of wood, felt cozy. Separate seating area for TV also comfortable. Bit of train noise, but not bad. Didn't go into breakfast, as it was pouring rain, and other patrons had just left their cars parked in the roadway, underneath the roofed area.

We did not enjoy our experience here, but the property is very beautiful. The lobby is very pretty, and there is a new event building and garden in back. The garden area is not quite finished, but looks to be very beautiful when it is done. The breakfast room is nice, and the offerings are the usual hot/cold choices. Our room was very nice, with plenty of space and seating. There was also a small patio with table and chairs. Our troubles stemmed from the ADA bathroom, and the unhelpful and rude attitudes of the staff. The ADA room was in the new building which had just opened. There were issues with opening this building before it was entirely ready, including not being able to use the main entrance due to a concrete pad not yet poured. The ADA parking spaces were, understandably, located around this entrance, but necessitated a trip to one of the side entrances around the building. There were not yet vending or ice machines available in the building. I booked the ADA room because my husband cannot raise either of his legs high enough to step over the side of a tub, and this room had a roll-in shower. Note: why can't more hotels offer shower-only rooms without having to book ADA? The first issue came when I checked in, informing the desk staff that we had a small dog with us. We were told that pets were not allowed in ADA rooms, other than service animals. What???? After long consultations with a manager and a call to the owner, we were told we could have a pet in the ADA room if we put him in a "service animal" vest (which we do not have). We agreed, but did not comply with the request to put our small dog in a vest, as we did not have time to order one from ebay. :-) The roll-in shower in the ADA bathroom was either plumbed incorrectly, or was designed poorly. A shower taken in the evening flooded the entire bathroom, and seeped out onto the carpet in the dressing area. My husband went to the desk to report it, and was told housekeeping would respond. The response was a housekeeper offering a stack of towels, but no offer to do the mopping up. Having to clean the flood up ourselves was, to say the least, and inconvenience. In order to prevent the flood from happening again, my husband toted his toiletries and clothes down to the shower in the pool area of the building. Another inconvenience. When we checked out, my husband related our issues to the desk staff, and was rudely told that we had gotten a "good deal" on the $250 rack rate for the room, and led him to believe that any complaints were unwarranted due to our "good deal", which, in fact, was only an AARP 10% discount. I would also add that the stated rate on the BW web site for the most expensive suite in the hotel is nearly $100 LESS that what she represented as the going rate for our ADA room. When my husband asked to speak to the manager, he was told (without her checking first) that "the manager is unavailable and his voice mail is full." When my husband returned to our car, she came out and took a picture of our license plate. Subsequently, he called Customer Care at Best Western HQ in Phoenix, and was given a complaint number, but no follow-up was ever made. This is a nice property, and we are very disappointed that our stay was spoiled in large part to the rude staff.

People forget that good hotels are hard to come by in the West. This Hotel is one of the good ones. It is a courtyard type hotel with a restaurant. They have a nice breakfast buffet area that is quite large. The grounds are ship shape at the hotel. It is a good looking hotel, the check in was quick and the attendant was very helpful. The room was very clean and appeared to be newly remodeled. The bathroom was spotless, we stayed three nights and the room service was great. The mattress is the only chink in the armor. They need to replace these. But all in all it is a great place.

1. Handicap Parking Stalls with no space for wheelchair/scooter/side ramp access 2. Wheelchair/scooter access ramps to short and steep 3. Room I was in had a loose commode, which also had the door blocking access to the safety bars around the commode, and unable to close the door which opened into the restroom, should open out. 4. No stool/chair/bench in handicap shower, so previous user used the room chair which retained the water and was wet to sit on 5. Several electrical outlet in the room were not working 6. There were other issues, reported to Management, I would not recommend this property, but over all I like Best Western and will continue to stay with them, just not here again.

We stayed at this location for 2 nights and were very pleased. We had 3 rooms, 2 were for couples and one was a family room. They were all very well appointed and very comfortable. We took advantage of the indoor pool and hot tub and the breakfasts. The pool was a good size and the hot tub accommodate 8 people very well. The breakfasts had a great variety of items and more than enough quantity to satisfy everyone's appetite. The staff in both the breakfast room as well as the lobby were very pleasant and helpful. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of the facility. This facility is conveniently located right off the interstate which makes it easy to get to and from the facility. I would highly recommend this facility if you are on the area.

4th time we've stayed at this hotel. It's excellent access to the highway, not too far from downtown Ogden (lovely lovely town) and the new indoor pool and gym are fantastic...We will definitely be back.

Had a nice stay. Staff very friendly and the breakfast was good. Beds are a little too soft for my liking,but clean. Pool was nice for our family to relax and have fun in. Clean hotel and well taken care of.

We stayed here two years ago and got no sleep. Said we'd not come back. Well this was the only place in town that had a room due to some big conference. We got checked in today. Everytime the people upstairs move our ceiling squeaks. Everytime someone around us runs water or flushes, it runs in the walls. We came back from dinner and a maintenance man was using a pressure washer on the upper walk way and spraying all the dirt on the cars below, including our less than a week old new car. If I could find a room somewhere, we'd be out of here. Best Western needs to do something about this place.

Room was exactly what we requested. Everything was in good working order, room clean and freshly stocked. Staff very friendly and professional. We have joined the Rewards Program and will stay at Best Western Plus again in the future.

Very nice hotel, wonderful front desk staff, and a comfortable room for the weary traveler. Chose this spot in Ogden, UT for it's close proximity to I-15 and ease of access to the interstate. On a long drive from San Diego, CA to Livingston, Montana and knew that I wanted to be well north of Salt Lake City to avoid Monday morning rush hour. I was quite pleased with this hotel and will make this a stopping point again in the future.

Pleasant stay with nice clean rooms and comfortable beds. Pool area was fantastic. Breakfast was good. Overall the place was neat and well kept. The lobby area was warm and welcoming with lots of tourist information on the area available.

Stayed here for one night and the hotel has a very efficient front desk staff, great automobile parking, very comfortable beds in large rooms, a copious supply of towels, and a great associated restaurant called Jeremiah's. Heartily recommend this hotel perfectly placed just off the I-15 Highway.

Room was large and clean with fridge & microwave. Beds were comfortable. Pool & spa are indoors which worked out great because we had a couple of summer storms roll thru. Front desk was helpful. Breakfast is a grab & go brown bag with a water bottle, piece of fruit, and granola bar. My only issue was that there were a ton of moth type insects that made it impossible to use the patio off the room. You had to swat at them just to get out to your car. Not sure if that was a temporary issue or if something more is going on with the insects.

We spent one night at this hotel. Was very disappointed in our stay. Did like the new pool but had to walk basically through 2 parking lots to get to the building that housed the pool. Because of the remodeling they said they only had grab and go bags for breakfast. We had picked this particular hotel because best western plus usually provide good breakfast. When our little girl opened the bagged breakfast the next morning she cried because all that was in the bag was bottled water, and apple and a granola bar. she said she never wanted to come to this hotel again. I have stayed at a lot of hotels and if I get a grab and go bag it usually has a juice, a fruit, a yogurt and a muffin. This particular grab and go did not even cost them $1 to make. They had told us they had discounted the rate by $20 because of the construction and that if we wanted we could purchase breakfast across the parking lot at a restaurant. The cheapest breakfast was $10 that would have cost us a minimum of $45 to eat there. I could have saved $ by staying at a Motel 6 and bought breakfast at their restaurant. We ended up eating at McDonald's because that was all we could afford after paying their "Discounted" rate.

Quick, accommodating, friendly. Welcoming, clean, and comfortable rooms with new decor. I arrived for a one night stay, but found myself suddenly ill. The staff was very accommodating and were able to extend my reservation an extra night, which made all the difference. Being a rewards member, I appreciate the extra effort. I will stay a loyal customer.

After escaping the hell hole called the Bigelow Hotel in Ogden's city center, we landed here and the contrast was remarkable! CLEAN room! CLEAN bed! WELL MANNERED staff! QUIET nights. Yes, it's a motel - not a hotel. But you will only spend $100/night and you'll have a safe and clean place to stay in Ogden. (This one came recommended.) Breakfast is a paper bag with an apple, a granola bar, and a water. You'll live. Stay here. Go the the Black Bear and get some breakfast. It's up the street.

We stayed with our two kids for a short overnight stay. Great beds and pillows. Comfortable and clean spaces. Front desk staff was helpful and even though it seemed they were busy, they were helpful and courteous.

If you are on vacation or just taken a road trip with family or friends if you are passing by Ogden Utah this is the hotel you need to stay at the price is reasonable and the amenities are perfect.....

Nice expansion and remodel with more to come. We stayed in the new two King bed hotel with interior access and porch. I don't know a hotel in Ogden, Layton or Salt Lake for that matter that has this kind of room or interior area. The indoor pool was beautiful, hallways and entry way decorative and very well lit. The rooms are new and spacious meaning a lot of room. You're going to pay a little more but worth it. It's nice to see a business that makes this kind of investment to make things nice.

I've stayed here several times and returned intentionally. I did not look at any other place in town. Right now the place is under major renovations. Until it's done I would look elsewhere. Its dusty, messy and some ammenities are lacking. Our room was nice (2 queens). The bed was comfy and things were clean. There was amble room in the room. The furnishings appeared newer. Everything worked except the tub did not drain properly. We also struggled with regulating the water temp. We also found the smoke detector still wrapped in its protective plastic shipping cover. I assume this may change but right now there is no breakfast at this location. There is a restaurant they direct you to in the parking lot where you can buy breakfast. The front desk provides a "grab & go" brown bag consisting of bottled water, fruit and a breakfast bar. It was rather pathetic compared to most other BW locations. There is coffee/tea in the lobby. On a personal note they no longer have the outdoor seasonal pool. It is now indoors. I booked here assuming they still had the outdoor pool (website still shows outdoor pool!). We really enjoy hanging out in/around the pool on a warm afternoon after a long day on the road. While I understand them changing to an indoor pool for seasonal reasons they did this one completely wrong. It's just a room with a pool. Why not install some roll up garage style doors that open to a nice fenced patio? Bring the outdoors in during the summer. This was just a muggy room with a pool and hot tub. They also used to have outdoor 2nd floor seating areas where you could enjoy the views of the mountains. Right now those areas were just big empty decks. New chairs are apparently on their way. Why not keep the old until they arrive so you could still use the space??? Based on the site plan/map this place should be quite nice when done. Until then, though, I'd go elsewhere in town due to the mess and lack of ammenities (and for me the lack of an outdoor pool). They should also discount the rates during construction.

The hotel put me in the new building and it was very nice. I did not know they were adding on as i have stayed at this property before. The new pool and fitness center were well planed out. When the landscaping in the back is done i'm coming back

Easy access off freeway, but just far enough away that didn't hear the traffic noise. Originally asked for King sized room, but that was on the second floor, and though there was an elevator; but it was too long of a walk for two disabled veterans. So switched to queen bed on first floor, could park in front. Appreciated on-site restaurant, so didn't have to do more driving [after 610 mile day]. Nice clean room w/ good lighting. Sofa very soft, pillows collapsed so DH watched TV from office chair, while I propped myself up on the bed. Woke up to church bells ringing - the alarm!!

My family and I were just passing through and needed a place for the night. Place was new, clean and people were so nice. The restaurant in the parking.lot is excellent. We decided to come back this way again just so we could stop at this hotel. Really worth it!

Stayed here last night and enjoyed it. Room# 254was big with a king comfortable bed and nice sized fridge. Room smelled nice and was very clean. Air conditioner was a bit noisy but we solved that in the morning. Someone had pulled one side of the filter out and didn't bother putting it back properly. Wish I would have checked that before we went to bed. Could use more restaurants or a sports bar that stays open past 9 pm. Close by. We would definitely stay here again.

We often stay at Best Western when we travel wit our dogs. Rooms are usually well maintained and many have good outdoor areas for dogs but not all. In general rooms and amenities are clean and in good working order. All in all you get your moneys worth.

We stayed in 116, check in was pleasant, helpful with area restaurants. Room was clean, comfortable bed. Right off I-15, not near downtown or decent restaurants. Pool was closed. Brown bag snack bag and coffee, no hot food.

overnight stay for long travel on the way through Utah. The location was easy to get to. one negative is this hotel did not have breakfast, unusual for a BW. Room was clean and staff were friendly / helpful.

No breakfast but nice clean property. Comfortable beds with lots of pillows. Couch is a vinyl so not comfy for sitting so don't waste money on suite style room. Parking right outside your room so easy to unload. Nice grass area to walk dogs with bags and garbage disposal

Well no breakfast is offered of any sort. The restaurant next door closes at 10, so your options for food are the 7-11 a block away. I was there while it was raining, guess they have never heard of rain gutters. Nice to try unloading to stay the night while the rain from the building comes off onto you. It sucks, go someplace else you will have a better experience. Oh yea, being a gold card member doesn't mean anything to them. I will not stay there ever again and will tell others to stay away!

It was our first visit to Ogden and decided to stay at Best Western+ . Its easy on/off from HW 84 and price was right for our budget. The front desk/lobby offered a warm fire place, plenty of coffee and snacks. Our first floor room had all the amenities for our short term visit; fridge, large screen t.v., a small couch w/table. Plus there is a small laundry room. Our only lament was the hot water was luke warm, so stuck to showers instead of a soaking bath. We had quiet upstairs neighbors (but we always travel with earplugs). We enjoyed the grab and go brown bag snacks we picked up in the morning at the lobby. We did a lot of hiking/walking around Ogden and it came in handy. Its 100% smoke free but folks still can stand outside their rooms and smoke. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We have stayed here before and not disappointed. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The only thing was the air conditioning unit in our room was noisy. Front desk was very nice (sorry, I can't remember her name). Would definitely recommend staying here.

Clean and comfortable room. We were very disappointed that they no longer have breakfast! Just a apple granola bar and a water bottle. Staff was friendly too. Would have given 5 stars if they had breakfast!!

Staff at front desk were friendly upon arrival. Got a room with 3 queens. The room was clean and fresh smelling. Appreciate that they had vegan and cruelty free products in the bathroom. The fridge and microwave were a nice plus as well. Family also enjoyed the breakfast options, especially with 2 of us being Celiac. The sausage was clearly labelled as gluten free. Thank you!

This is a super clean hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms are really nice and very clean, including the bathroom. Breakfast was very, very good. Their rates are terrific too. I would highly recommend it.

This hotel was a great find. It is tough to find individual entrances now in good hotels, and after driving 400 miles a day I hate making several trips to lug all my stuff and the dog down a hallway. The room had everything needed, and the free coffee in the lobby 24 hrs. The location is great with mt. views. Easy to walk to a nearby area for the dog. I would plan future cross country trips with this stop in mind.

We arrived at 6:00 PM after driving from Phoenix AZ . We were met by a polite and friendly desk clerk , who advised there was no hot water. She advised she thought it was minor and would be fixed soon . We checked in because we had booked this Non Refundable room through Hotel.com . Upon entering our room the temperature had been set to 82F so it was stifling warm . The heating and Air condition was noisy to say the least . At 9:15 Pm I noted the water was still lukewarm so I contacted the front desk who advised it would be likely another 1 1/2 hours before the water was sufficiently hot . The beds were comfortable , but we noted a lot of early morning traffic noise . No breakfast included which is unusual . Upon checking out , I ask what the cause of the hot water outage was. A male talking to the front desk clerk indicated the installation of a new washer . If this was the case I believe Best Western owes their patrons an apology! Certainly will not be my choice for my next trip through Ogden .

While the Pond, Park walk and dog trail are inaccessible right now the new wing that has more rooms and the new continental breakfast space and indoor pool looks to be a great addition. The plans call for a new and improved landscaped dog and event venue and the Koi are still there. The big earthen berm in back will help block some of the train noise. This is going to be even better than it was before!

The rooms have been upgraded since my last stay a couple years ago. Very comfortable bed. However with the outside doors and no breakfast room, it feels much more like a motel than a hotel. Pool was outside so unable to use.

Nice clean room. Comfortable bed and quiet. Convenient freeway access and good restaurant in same parking lot as hotel so didn't have to drive to get dinner after a long day of traveling. Friendly staff as well.

I am unclear about the difference between the various brands of Best Western. This one charges $4 extra if you want a king size bed, there is no indoor pool, and they DO NOT have a breakfast but they do charge a PLUS price. The staff was very friendly, the rooms clean and the bed (Yes we spung for the King) comfy! The tissues and TP were the roughest ever! Good thing I had my own box of Scotties for my runny nose! The near by restaurant was closed so it was a search to find somewhere for dinner!

The staff was friendly, the room was clean and quiet, we were even able to order breakfast to our room from a nearby restaurant. Everything was going well until we tried to shower. There was no hot water. We called the front desk and they were friendly and professional, and told us they'd look into it. However, after a half-hour of waiting, we tried again and still had no hot water, so we had to check-out without showering. That was disappointing.

If pool is under construction, post it somewhere. Disappointed kids. Stupid. I'm sure you can add it somewhere on the website. Also gross overflowing toilet in one room. Not happy with our stay already.

We recently visited the Best Western Plus High Country in Ogden in January 2019. The rooms were clean, the staff was nice, and it had most of amenities we were looking for. The one downside is that they do not serve a continental breakfast at this hotel, but one of the staff members informed me that they have or will be starting construction to have a kitchen and continental breakfast soon. In the meantime, everything was nice and updated. They had to-go bags of snacks prepared so you could take each day and coffee, hot cocoa, lemon water, and fruit available 24/7. Honestly, we stayed there at the same time a bunch of schools stayed there because they had a convention, but it wasn't bad at all. The lobby was a little crowded and they tripped the breaker, so the coffee/hot cocoa machine wasn't working one morning, but other than that, the walls must be insulated pretty well. One other slight complaint is that I got ready one morning a little later (around 9:00 a.m.) and it must've been after all of the school kids had to get ready to go. I haven't experienced this before, but I didn't have hot water for my entire shower. I'm not sure if this is usual for this hotel because I had hot water the previous two days before and I bet if it weren't my day to check-out, the front desk staff would've taken care to make sure I had hot water. I was just checking out, so I didn't say anything. Lastly, I had forgotten my toothbrush and they gave me a complimentary one at the front desk. I also had to come in super-late on the second night and asked the maids not to clean, but the front desk accommodated my request for extra towels and toiletries, so I just had them available. The heater worked great and there was plenty of light, plenty of outlets, and the mattress and pillows were comfy.

This was the first and only Best Western Plus we have stayed in that did NOT have an included breakfast. That came as an unwelcome surprise. The property is old fashioned and the shower as downright dangerous with no grab bar and no non-slip mat. Also the heat was noisy from the old style heater. On the plus side, the room was large and the bed was comfortable. We will not, however, be repeat customers.

I stay here every time I am in this area. It is a motel, not a hotel, but the rooms are clean and nice and it is fairly close to the freeway, but the noise isn't too noticeable. The beds are comfy and I always get a good nights sleep.

Room was updated, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was great. Staff very friendly and helpful. Located right off the freeway, making it convenient for Salt Lake visits. I was in town for a concert at Vivint Arena. Best of all, my doggie companion was not charged an extra rate as long as 'she promised' to keep the room clean.

No breakfast that Senior Citizens can eat. A apple and granola bar. They did say that they were sorry. The restaurant was closed that was close by. No discount tickets to eat at the restaurant and I did not want to wait until they open at 7 am. Breakfast at Best Westerns is normally at 6 AM.

This was an exceptionally clean hotel, the room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. Staff were pleasant and helpful. If you're northbound this hotel is also in a great location; it's convenient to I-15 and far enough outside Salt Lake City to avoid traffic on the way out.

A very good room similar to most Best Westerns. Good parking. Conveniently located for us and not far from our highway going north. An exceptional Thai restaurant was nearby within walking distance (Aroy-D).

We stayed here overnight on our way to Palm Springs in Feb 2017 and loved it. It was perfect for our dog. They had a beautiful park to walk our dog with a pond etc. I was so impressed that we came back in Dec 2017 on our way to Palm Springs but this time the park was gone and was the site of construction. It was the biggest disappointment of our trip. That set aside the hotel is located off the I15 and the rooms are decent so we will probably stop there again but this hotel used to exceed my expectations when they had that park.

Great place to spend a night. We stopped here on our way home to Washington. It's not far from interstate 15 easy to find. There are several restaurants in the area. The room is clean and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay. It is very convenient to the freeway and has all the amenities when traveling very nearby. We have stayed here a couple of times coming and going to Colorado and it has always been a good experience. A very well maintained facility. The restaurant has a good variety of food for all meals. This motel also has a good area to walk your pets I noticed.

The architecture and room decor were quite nice. The room was very clean, and the staff was friendly. The only breakfast offered was a "grab and go" bag for the road. The restaurant breakfast was quite good. The dinner was so-so.

Stayed at this Best Western a few years ago and felt comfortable returning. There is some construction going on the back where we wanted to stay but we changed our room and did not effect our stay. Breakfast is not included but restaurant on premises has excellent food I understand after the remodeling and addition of new rooms will include an indoor pool and breakfast so we will come back next time in area i

Yet another wonderful stay at the Best Western High Country INN in Ogden Utah. We stay here multiple times a year and NEVER have a bad stay. We've never had a complaint or an issue or anything negative. It's a well run, clean, wonderful property to stay at, we always look forward to a night here. The staff is friendly, attentive, and they seem efficient. Thanks again, for a very pleasant evening...

Staff was great. Hotel lobby was very nice. Room was clean so that's all good. BIT it's supposed to be a "BW Plus". For sure the price is Plus. But no free breakfast is a deal breaker for me. You aren't a Plus if you don't have that.

Very nice motel that is close to freeway. Room was clean and comfortable. They take pets and my dog also found it very nice. Good area to walk the dog. Wonderful breakfast with lots of choices. Check in and check out very fast and courteous. Would stay here again on another trip.

We typically stay with a Hilton or Marriot chain, but this hotel was available and convenient for our route. Rooms are very nice, super clean, and the shower worked better than most hotels. The towels seemed plush and new, and overall the room was very clean, spacious and very comfortable. No for breakfast, but there is a restaurant across the parking lot. Not a a great location for walking or running outside for exercise, but there is a lot of construction happening working on a beautiful park like area. The pool was fun, wasn't freezing cold like most.

This hotel is a Best Western Plus, but the only Plus is the price. No free breakfast here. There is an OK restaurant next door, but not worth the price. The front of the room (outside) was full of dust and cigarette butts, a regular wash down would help. The room had a fly problem due to a large gap around the door.

Quiet area, friendly staff, great price. And what matters most - Clean room. I checked out before breakfast was served, but they always have fruit, water, and other drinks available. They gave us a grab bag to go, since we left before breakfast.

Beautiful lobby and helpful staff including maintenance and housekeeping. Appreciated the coffee and cocoa as well as newspaper. Fitness room great although limited number of machines, even a weight machine which I didn't find at the other three BW+; very large room, mirrors, mats, fitness balls, and very large selection of weights and ice water. Bed ok with good selection of pillows. One chair (office) for multiple people; however, maintenance did bring in another chair from the pool or somewhere, which helped with seating. We were on the construction side, but we didn't notice the workman or noise. Price seemed pretty high especially for what we received. Cons included bagged breakfast with a small bar, orange and water (appreciated the water) - I'm surprised as the other BW+ sites on our trip had huge breakfast options, even the ubiquitous basic waffle, fruit, cereal and yogurt would have been appreciated. Pet peeve - no recycling available, staff didn't even seem to know what recycling was. I did feel unsecure and unsafe as keyed doors were either outright open, at the minimum unlocked (it wasn't I said something to the 3rd clerk that anything was mentioned about a rekeying project); our door seemed to stick or catch on the floor when opening so I felt sorry for our neighbors as there was a huge clunk and crunch every time we opened the door. TV remote didn't work; reception gave us their remote as they couldn't get it to work either, TV would cut out too. Very tiny fridge with broken handle things inside as well as lopsided so food fell out when we opened the door. Entrance and exit from street very scary as cars going highway speed although a city street.

We have stayed at many Best Western's because we like the rooms, the price, and the breakfast offered. This place was more expensive that what we are used too. This place has the room but it needed some serious fumigation. Huge spiders and ants everywhere. Also, the pool area was decent except for the chairs which if you looked at the backs and underneath, spiders and some that looked like juvenile black widows. And the breakfast they offered was a bag with a water, orange and apple. Really? They said it was because of Jeremiah's restaurant that was next door but there was no discount offered for being a guest of the inn and Jeremiah's has good food but again, on the pricey side. So if you dont mind the high price, creepy crawlers and paying for a breakfast that most other Best Western's offer with the room, this place is for you....We will not be staying here again.

Pulled on here late after 11 hr motorcycle day, 100+ degree weather. All rooms filled except for honeymoon suite. Offered it to me for ridiculous price which I declined as I was only going to be staying for 8 hrs or so. Declined to rent me room for price of regular single. Told me they'd rather have it empty than give it to me for that price even though I am acar, BW Platinum member & belong to Harley Owner Group (special program w/ BW). Mgr threw paper on counter w/ phone numbers of other hotels & told me I could go somewhere else. I thanked her for making feel like a valued Platinum member, then road up the hwy a bit & pulled onto another popular chain where they gladly gave me a comparable room for 100 bucks less, telling me they appreciated the biz.

My grandsons have a bowling tournament in Dallas Texas. We left Beaverton Oregon. The bestwestern was in a great location and very reasonable. The staff was very friendly. The room was very quiet and clean. I try to stay only at bestwestern hotels.

Pulled into get a room, paid cash but wouldn't give me a receipt until morning??? Doing construction back part where they put us and when we tried to leave in the morning (after we were told construction doesn't start until after 7 am they were starting after 6 am and had to get out of my vehicle and move my mirrors in just to get my car out of the parking spot and to let the passenger in the passenger door, never again. Room was ok and clean.

Well, When we walked through the door to the main lobby...OMG! This is one of the most beautiful lobbies I've ever seen. I wanted to stay and hang out there, except we were dog tired. The room was very clean. nice & comfortable. There isn't a full breakfast offered because there is a restaurant in the same parking lot. Only negative I can say about our stay, which is not reflective of the hotel: At the restaurant, while the food was fairly good, the service was TERRIBLE. There were plenty of guests, but not a packed house and yet it took FOREVER to be served. Maybe eat at another location & YOUR EXPERIENCE WILL BE AWESOME FROM A-Z. P.S. The hotel staff were very friendly & welcoming :-)

Really liked this motel. It is a completely revamped, remodeled older motel. Outsideparkimg and stairs. The room was fresh, spotless and totally remodeled there is a restaurant attatched that had good food. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I am picky about beds and this was a comfortable one.

We like Best Westerns but this one disappointed us by not having a breakfast. The price was about the same as other places that have a great breakfast. We just got the little snack bag in the mornings and always ate a early lunch somewhere else. The staff was excellent and the rooms were very nice.

This property is located just off the I-15 outside of Salt Lake City! Great place to stay away from the big city! The room is basic with comfortable beds! The outdoor pool is seasonal and was not opened yet on May 11th! No breakfast included with stay but there is an awesome restaurant located across the parking lot!

I have stay at Best Western Hotel lots of times and they always make sure that my service dog has everything she needs, and lets me know, she is all was welcome.The room is always bright and fresh smelling.. lots of fresh clean towels. Beds are nice and comfortable.

I did not enjoy my stay here and will not be coming back. Although the staff was friendly, I did not feel entirely safe here. Two very loud were in the next room, and I felt uncomfortable asking them to lower their voices. Also, this hotel does not offer breakfast nor coffe/tea, cookies on arrival as I have become accustomed to during other stays at Best Western. My bed was uncomfortable, the room loud (besides the loud men next door, there was a lot of foot traffic and noise from the street. The restaurant across the parking lot was excellent, however.

This hotel is absolutely one of the best. Hotel has a great staff. It is very clean. Comfortable beds. Jeremiah's is a great place to eat. It is very easy to get to off of the interstate. And the views are amazing

If you are in Ogden Utah, you need to stay at the Best Western Plus High Country Inn. The views are spectacular, the service is great and the restaurant (Jeremiah's) has been ranked the best in Ogden Utah 10 consecutive years.

its convenient to the freeway and not far from shopping. Has a good restaurant on sight. I did miss the pond and fish. I did have another couple traveling with us that found parafinala under their bed, that surprised us.

With tax and various tourist fees, our nearly new room was $115 per night. Well built and attractive rooms. Easy off ramp heading north. BUT! If you are pulling a trailer or Uhaul moving, you will have parking issues. High points were lobby coffee/drinks 24/7, a grab and go sack in the morning(water, orange and a pop tart) there is a nice restaurant in the same building lot, and the breakfast was large and filling. Anyway, for me, Bestwestern Plus was well worth the price.

I was very happy with our room. It was clean and comfortable. I had a great night's sleep. We had a wonderful dinner at the onsite restaurant. Check in and check out was quick and easy. We will definitely stay there again.

this is a good hotel when you are travelling. The rooms are comfortable as was the bed. We had a room in the back where there was construction but it was not due to start till 8 am and we were gone before that so it did not matter. They could not offer breakfast because they were under renovation- a takeaway bag with granola bar, water and fruit was offered. Staff was friendly. there was a restaurant across the parking lot that we had our evening meal at and it was a good home cooked meal. I would recommend this hotel for travellers looking for a hotel for a night stop.

The room was clean, yet dated. No microwave or fridge. The on site restaurant is very good, no free breakfast is included in the stay. I'm not sure I will pick this motel again. When they complete yt?their new building I might. The staff is very friendly though.

Awesome that they are still pet friendly! The room was much nicer than our last stay here. A little disappointed that the park was off limits for the construction, but new amenities were needed. As for Jeremiah's, don't expect much. The food has never been great.

Silverfish bugs on floor in bathroom in night time. Construction started 8:00 am near our room. Liked pet friendly policy and nearby restaurant. Other than nocturnal bugs, room was fine, beds comfortable.

I have stayed here 3 times so far! It is the perfect stop over on the way from Missoula, MT and Salt Lake City. The town of Ogden is so cute and we really enjoyed this quiet, clean and comfortable hotel. The front desk staff is very helpful. I'll be back!

This motel is just off I 15 and easy to get to. The staff was friendly and checkin was easy. Our room was clean, neat and the bed was comfortable. I would have rated it one star higher but the bathroom was the smallest I ever remember having in a motel.

we took our first ever road trip with our two large dogs. We were provided with a first floor room that opened to the park area. It was perfect. The room, and the entire hotel, was very nicely decorated, clean, and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful.

On our recent trip to Ogden, we once again stayed at the High Country Inn, which is just off Interstate 15/84 and on 12th Street, which ultimately becomes State Highway 39 leading to the Upper Ogden Valley and the ski areas there. To our pleasant surprise, this Best Western Plus had just been remodeled to an "Arts & Craft" decor, both inside and out. Our room was a standard size and well furnished with new A&C furniture and decoration. At 6 AM on our first morning there, I was a awakened by a noise like a distant jack hammer, so I thought it might be due to the expansion that was underway at the east end of the motel. Fortunately,it ended soon. I subsequently learned that it was a "water hammer" vibration caused by the flow restrictors in the shower heads, which I reported to the desk clerk when we checked out. This BW+ does not currently have a complimentary breakfast, but upon request will provide a $6 off coupon to use at Jeremiah's Restaurant across the parking lot, which also has been remodeled to an A&C decor. The food there was good and we had two meals there. The expansion will include a new breakfast room, which unusually will be at the back of the BW+. The High Country Inn is a newly-refurbished older BW+ with the issues mentioned above, but with a few tweaks should prove to be a very good place to stay while visiting Ogden.

I always stay at this best western plus when I am in the area. Nice location and good staff. On site restaurant is good especially breakfast.i am looking forward to the completion of the new addition that is currently under construsction.

A superb, clean, comfortable, quiet motel conveniently located about 2 blocks off the Interstate. Cheerful late night reception, after 9:00 PM, with NO reservation. A reasonably priced double Queen-bedded room was offered with easy access and quality amenities. The only problem: I don't know when I'll next be in Ogden to enjoy another stay in the High Country Inn. But if you're anywhere in the area, do book a room in this excellent facility. You'll have a great stay and you will NOT be disappointed.

B/W Burley is always a pleasure to stay. Good rooms, staff, breakfast. Several eateries in close proximity. Well maintained with Great parking for my semi truck. Always a pleasure to visit this establishment !!!

Very clean and updated with a wonderful park. BUT, not for me. Midnight train sounds its horn though the other 5 just the bells.. ugh. Bed too firm for me, plumbing really really loud! Beware the neighbors late night and 5am showers/toilet. Lastly the in room climate control goes on and off every hour no matter the setting. And its hard to enjoy any beverage but especially a nightcap in a paper cup! Does not seem like a 2.5 star plus to me. Yes there is just an apple and granola bar to go.

For a Plus Hotel & the price you pay, the amenities were not up to par..it was the complimentary breakfast that turned us off for the most part. It consisted of apples or oranges & coffee & that was it..yogurt, a toaster, bread, bagels or muffins would be an easy addition for more choices. Also we were not offered Bonus points in lieu of the free bottled water & bars we were given because we were Elite members. We did not realize we could have had bonus points until the next Best Western Plus we stayed at. We probably won't stay there again nor recommend it for these reasons mostly for the lack of complimentary breakfast items.

I enjoyed every aspect of this BW-Plus property except for the fact a hot breakfast buffet wasn't offered (I got a bag with an apple and sugary granola bar instead). I was recently in a much smaller and older BW property elsewhere in Utah and even they had a breakfast buffet. It's the most important meal of the day!

Travelling with pets is always a struggle so when I found that this Bestwestern had pet friendly rooms I was very pleased. It was only $10 extra for the night and the room was very clean and very spacious for our two border collies. Booking in and out was a breeze the only thing that was missing was a continental breakfast!

Very friendly and walking distance to one of the most popular restaurants in town, Jeremiah's! Nice welcome from the front desk and treats to take to your room! Yummy cookies at the front desk too! Ogden is a breath of fresh air!

Convenient, cute little hotel. Just what we needed on our cross country road trip. The staff was super friendly, it was affordable, and easy to stay with our 60 lb dog. Bed was comfortable and parking convenient.

We had a very rough trip with visibility from blowing snow and icy roads to the feeling of relief once arriving at the Inn. We were greeted by friendly staff that made the check in a no hassle. We were off to a very warm and comfortable room. Rest and relaxation was a high priority for us and we were able to regenerate and go over to the restaurant and have a wonderful meal. The night sleep was relaxing with a very comfy bed and pillows to enjoy. The room was very clean and all amenities were at our fingertips. Check out was a breeze as usual and we were on our way. Thank you Best Western Inn.

The hotel was very nice, its pet friendly, and the staff were awesome! the restaurant was very busy, but it was worth the wait the food and service were excellent! its a must stay we had a great weekend there is a lot todo in Ogden Utah !!!

Driving through on my way to Colorado, and looking for a place off the highway, I found this Best Western. The room was nice and large, a bit of old hotel - you can park in front of your room. No free breakfast, but coffee and nice lemon water in the lobby. Also, little to go bags. There's a Starbucks down the street and a restaurant across the parking lot. Not necessarily a destination hotel, but definitely somewhere I'd stay again. Best part: customer service. I dealt with two different people, who were more than kind and helpful. First alerted me to the fact that I had BW Rewards points and there was a deal where I could get a free room; second gave me great directions to Starbucks.

Very clean and comfortable. Restaurant right there that delivers food to your room. Friendly, helpful staff. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was big, plenty of room to spread out.

Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff. I've stayed here on business several times in the last few years and will return! Nice green belt in the back of the property and a restaurant on site. It's a comfortable and easy stay.

Pulled in late for one night - rooms around back were large and beds ok, an older hotel it seems. Would like to be in that room in the summer as it opens onto a huge second floor deck overlooking the grounds. Patio furniture all there for summer enjoyment. But, for a BW plus what was up with the breakfast? Apples or oranges and coffee?? And a brown bag ‘to go' breakfast consisting of a granola bar, water and an apple. This is not nearly what BW Plus offers and kind of disappointing.

BW High Country had gorgeous views of the mountains from our room. There was an extensive grassy area and walking path with a pond containing koi fish! Nice to go for a walk after being in the car all day! Was able to toss the frisbee for our dog as well, and it was welcomed exercise for all. The hotel is aging. The bathroom was SOOO tiny! We were definitely in the off season, so it was not very busy, so our room was quiet. We could not park our 16ft moving truck close by, which was worrisome but ok. Great restaurant next door, Jeremiah's, that had wonderful soups and a fantastic breakfast. More food than we could eat! I really dislike most hotel breakfasts, as they are carb and sugar loaded. The eggs usually taste awful.

Decor, service, and restaurant were unbelievably Beautiful with great food and service. Easy access off of I 15 as the hotel was just around the corner. This will be a must stop for my family from now on.

Awesome place to stay. The hotel has been around for decades and keeps their promise to stay updated. Don't look any further, this place will have you thinking "why haven't we always stayed here" My new home away from home.

Well we certainly expected more from this plus. It wasn't until i had paid for the room that I was told there is no full breakfast. They offer a grab and go bag with coffee a fruit and a granola bar! Woopee! The best rate even at this time(12.02.17) with military discount was 104.00. (tax included) I was tired and we just decided to go with the flow. The first sign of trouble was the door which for a senior was very hard to open Bye the way if there are typos, it is because i required 2 pillows to sit on so i could see my keyboard ! Second was the washroom. Sitting on the miniature was easy...getting back up not so easy! After 3 flushes....success! The exterior decor is lovely and the wood in the rooms is nice, but this place needs a complete make over. The best part of the stay was the dinner we had at a restaurant achoo the parking lot.

We were quoted a price which they said included our dog. They later added an additional charge for the dog. We called and got no satisfaction. Facility was nice and conveniently located. No breakfast at the hotel. Nice place to walk dog in the back.

An excellent Best Western, the staff, the room and the property in general are great. The only thing the I feel they should change is to have a breakfast in the mornings . There is a 24 hour coffee bar in the spacious lobby that is nice. The welcome package and the grab and go package at departure is a nice touch.

Was a very nice hotel and great staff. Would be nice if it had a free breakfast instead of some breakfast bag to go. Staff was great and location was close to interstate.Pet friendly which was nice. Thank you.

stayed here in the past we took the room without looking at it first, will do that next time we if we pass this way gave us a king size bed, in a very small room, even the bathroom was too small and we are both shorter than most people the restaurant is not part of the hotel so patrons get no priority over the walk up trade, the wait for breakfast was estimated to be 45 minutes so we went elsewhere

So, this is a little more difficult to write this review. We had a good stay but there were a few issues. The highway and train tracks are fairly close. That means a little more noise than we were expecting. It wasn't bad but it was noticeable. A good thing was the park like setting at the rear of the property. It was a pleasant sight and gave an area for those with dogs and such to walk. Our room was on the second story and getting to it was a slightly challenging adventure getting our stuff up there. The restaurant on the property was good for breakfast and we got on the road quickly after our stay. The room was clean although when we checked in the first room they wanted to put us in was not ready... it was a first floor room and would have been a good deal easier to deal with if it had been ready. Our evening meal was take out from a restaurant further from the highway than the on-property one.

We were lost & the desk agent took the time to guide us in. It took three calls & a lot of patients but She did the job very well . A great place to stay , but we did miss having the morning breakfast, because it is not offered..

We stayed here on our way to Texas, and again on the return trip. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The adjacent restaurant, Jeremiahs, was a pleasant surprise. They had good food at a reasonable price. The hotel doesn't have a continental breakfast, but they do have juice and coffee and offer a travel bag that has water, granola bar, and fruit to go. Nice place to stay.

This is a very good hotel for business travel. Over the years I have experienced some minor issues but I keep returning. It's convenient to get to from I-15 but tough to get back on in the morning rush.

You can park right outside your room but there is no free breakfast. They give you a grab and go bag - it has a piece of fruit, a bottle of water and a granola bar. They do have coffee available. It was rather a noisy location. Staff was very pleasant.

The noise from people showering in other rooms kept us awake from 4 AM . We had been on the road for 12.5 hours and needed our rest, which we didn't get. Needless to say, we did not stay in a Best Western on the way home.

We stayed in 3 Best Western's during our travels from Puyallup WA, Ogden UT & Salt Lake City UT. All 3 were very clean with helpful, friendly staff. We plan on a road trip next summer and will stay at Best Western when ever we can.

Things missing like extra blanket/ pillow. When reported to front desk in person, I was questioned like "what do you want me to do about it." Informed them that I just didn't want to be charged for them and clerk acted as if I was really putting them out. Unfriendly. Onsite restaurant was loud, expensive and the food very marginal. Waiter was extremely slow and forgot side dishes and I had to track him down to remind him. Actually cancelled some ordered items because they didn't come until rest of meal was complete. Do not stay here!!!

Average facility. Disappointed that it does not have a complimentary Breakfast as many other BW have. Appreciate the size and convenience of the large Dog Walk area as well as the convenience from the Freeway.

Very clean hotel but rather expensive for what you get. This is a WELL KEPT "motor-lodge" type of property where you park in front of your door if on the first floor. The rooms are spacious, bed was ok - Nothing special. With tax you are at $120 or higher. Pets are $10 additional/pet and they have limited pet-friendly rooms so book early in the day. There is a restaurant right on the grounds so you don't have to get back in your car to go eat dinner or breakfast. Their "grab and go" bag in the morning (which substitutes for continental breakfast) is an apple, a bottle of water and a very small granola bar. Reservationists are friendly and there is coffee, hot chocolate and juice 24/7.

I've stayed here once before on my way to Colorado and it was my first choice to stay again on my way to Idaho. Excellent experiences both times!!! The rooms are roomy, the beds are very comfortable and my favorite is the restaurant, Jeremiah's, they have room service and are quick and polite. I travel with my little Jack Russell and the dog park is a treat for her but is also very cool with the Koi pond there too. Thanks for the continued excellence. It is a treat to stay there.

I stay at alot of motels throughout the year, and, have never stayed anywhere that did not at least offer a free breakfast to the guests of the motel. Also, this place has the noisiest water pipes that will wake you up in the morning when other rooms use the shower.

The military and Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints have undo influence, but other than that it is indeed a beautiful place. The historic Catholic Monastery offers a bit of respite from the hustle and bustle of the moment.

This hotel is easy to get to, just off the interstate, The appearance of the lobby is very nice. The room was very clean. The staff were very polite and accommodating. The internet is very fast and the TV channels were good.

The place is outdated and need a lot of updated items to be considered a quality place to stay. Poor heating and cooling system and the bathroom is to small for the average travelers. The toilet had no pressure and was unusable while we stayed here. The room needs a décor makeover and had a very bad smell to the room.

Front desk personnel (Stephanie) secured and forwarded personal documents left on premises when I checked out. All employees from front desk, landscapers, cleaning staff, etc. were all very friendly and helpful.

Our room was comfortable and a great size. However, we were on the backside and did hear some train blowing/noise. Mentioned to staff and they said they were in a quiet zone so should be noise free but it was not. Breakfast was a to go bag of a bottle of water, apple and granola bar. Very disappointing since all the other BWs we had stayed at had nice hot/cold breakfast buffets.

It's always phenomenal. Perhaps this isn't helpful to a reader of this review. Stay there and you will understand why I go back whenever I am passing through Ogden. I highly recommend this motel and always suggest it to my friends and family if I know they will be anywhere near SLC. Try the restaurant, too. The menu is wonderful and the prices are refreshing.

Comfortable and trouble free stay. Staff was very nice and always asked if they could do anything more. Breakfast was not very exciting but it was what we were expecting. Always difficult to tell if eggs are or artificial

It was late at night and I had no reservations after pressing on in a rain storm throughout Idaho and northern Utah. With a friendly smile from the desk receptionist, I got the last room. This motel is relatively new and the room was very comfortable and clean. No odd odors were present. I need a firm mattress and give the motel high marks for this. My only negative comment is the lack of a USB charging port on the bedside lamp table. The buffet breakfast is nice and hot with everything one would expect in a Hampton, Holiday Express or Comfort Inn. This motel has a relatively convenient location from the interstate, though the entry is easy to miss, as it comes up immediately to the right after leaving the south bound off ramp.

first off, they don't offer the typical breakfast that you find with Best Westerns - they claim the restaurant on site is an "award winning" place that they don't want to compete. so they give you an apple and a granola bar -- room was clean, bed was fine, just not up to the quality of many other Best Westerns I've stayed at

This place is amazing!!! Great staff and the grounds are the best we have ever been to the lawn is immaculate and the fish pond and waterfall is so peaceful. The rooms are superb and the bed is so comfy.

The hotel is in a good location. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable. The price was very good. The front desk agent was friendly and professional. I would stay at this property again.

We really appreciated all her help and she even went above and beyond and sent me Charlie to help with all of our stuff. He also went above and beyond for us as well. We were towing a large flat bed trailer and this hotel has a great location in their lot for parking easily. The rooms are clean and the staff very helpful. We have stayed here several times and plan to stay again in the future. There is a Jeremiah's restaurant in the same parking lot with decent food, what could be more convenient when towing a large trailer? No need to go out looking for food. :)

Trains blew their horns LOUDLY every hour. We couldn't sleep. The garden was nice and the hotel was nice but the point of the hotel was to SLEEP. Would never stay there again. And there wasn't breakfast.

Not the standard quality that one usually finds at BW in reference to service. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Although advertised as a " Plus" property, there is nothing plus about it. There is no breakfast offered, other than a a stale piece of fruit, tiny granola bar and a small bottle of water, which one would find at other BW Plus properties, the front desk person (Stephanie) was rude to not only me but to others in our group. There is a restaurant across the parking lot but be prepared for a long wait and an inept wait staff. Typical truck stop food, edible but of poor quality. Jerimiah's) When I return to Ogden with my youth sports teams, we will be staying at a different property.

Spent 2 nights at this hotel recently. Check-in went good with fresh chocolate chip cookies. We were assigned a ground floor room that we had requested as we have a service dog in training. The room we were assigned had a stripped door handle. Once we were able to get into the room, we called the front desk and reported the problem. Maintenance immediately came by and informed us that a replacement part would take several days to get and suggested pulling up on the handle for the duration of our stay. The room was clean with a large grassy park across the parking lot. The area was great for walking leashed dogs with paths and a koi pond. There is a very busy restaurant on the premises. Good breakfast with lots of food and reasonably priced (we waited until about 10 am to go there as the place is very popular with the locals). The hotel itself only offers coffee and various drinks for breakfast as they encourage you to use the restaurant. We were offered a grab and go bag when we were checking out, but would have appreciated having some muffins available as we're light breakfast eaters early in the morning. Had a small issue during checkout. They had added a pet fee to our bill. I questioned the charge and informed the young lady that having spent numerous nights at Best Western's across the country the pet fee was always waived since the pup was a service dog in training. She let me know that each BW was independently owned and each had there own policies and she had never heard of a service dog in training (guess she figured service dogs were borned fully trained and mature). After explaining to her our mission and showing her our identification card from Canine Companions for Independence she reluctantly waived the fees, which we appreciated. We chose this location because of it's close proximity to the puppy training classes we were attending, but might look more closely next time we're passing through.

Could not sleep due to terrible noises from upstairs plumbing. Sounded like a jet above your head at 3 AM Plus children running and screaming Paid $ 130 for headache Make sure before you go to bed it's a quiet one

I usually do a lot of research before I select a hotel, so my reviews are almost always positive when my expectations of a property are met. My expectations here were not met. We selected this hotel SPECIFICALLY because it had a hot tub and we were weary hikers at the tail end of a road trip. Well, the hot tub is now a fitness center (wahp-wahp). Truth in advertising would be fantastic - Best Western, take "hot tub" off of your amenities list! I immediately asked what could be done - upgrade to a room with a jetted tub, discount on the bill... to not avail. "Well, we have a pool..." - great. (We stayed anyway, given that it was 9PM and we'd paid online already). The room itself was fine - clean, stocked, spacious. The only really weird thing was the little entry area was ridiculously Pledged (the furniture polish) and so we both fell (yes, two young, able-bodied athletic-types fell over because we didn't expect the entry to be like an ice skating rink). So that was weird. The desk and coffee table were also reeeally Pledged and my DSLR camera nearly fell off. Oh my! I mean, I guess the room was super clean?!? *insert laughing-crying emoji* We laughed about it. The beds were not fantastic nor were they bad - they were budget quality. I like mine softer, but that's ok. There's no breakfast here - they have little to-go snack bags instead. However, their selection of 24/7 coffee offerings was quite impressive... flavored cappuccinos and such, and all kinds of extras. The "lobby" of the hotel is really cute, with wood beams and a fireplace I think. There's a gift shop and areas to hang out and drink said coffee. I'm just really annoyed about the hot tub situation, so, I'm sorry BW High Country, but you get only 3 stars.

After a long day on the road, we had a comfortable night in this clean establishment. The staff was friendly, but didn't quite get the restaurant hours correct when we checked in so we were too early for breakfast the next day. Our room was great and amazingly quiet for being so close to the parking lot. We would stay here again if in the area.

This Best Western Plus has a giant sized park for your pets. The Hotel is situated so close to the freeway and there are restaurants galore. I will gladly recommend this specific Hotel to anyone traveling thru Utah.

Upgraded to a Suite and it turned out it didn't have a fridge or microwave and the "jetted" tub was broke so it's basically just a large bathtub. If you have to stay somewhere in Ogden and this is the last place you can find, get a standard room and keep your expectations low

Hotel was nice. Staff very nice. Room comfortable. Restaurant across the parking lot was/is amazing. Rooms open to parking lot. Seems to be in a very busy area so rooms may fill up.Did not use the hot tub/pool. Only negative is that the hotel is a little older so you can hear the upstairs folks walking around and when the fans in the bathroom are on it can get a bit loud.

Over the past 20 days now we've been traveling/touring the Wild West, we have stayed in numerous hotels(other than BWs) and the service, quality of the rooms have varied so much, but what we have found is that for the price from the other hotels to those of the BWs, it's been hard to beat. BUT ONE THING THEY HAVE IN COMMON, WHEN AROUND A NATIONAL PARK OR SPECICAL EVENTS GOING ON IN THAT AREA - "THEY ALL JACK UP THE PRICE".

Friendly and competent staff;nice pool; clean room, comfortable bed. A gorgeous oriental type park behind the property--lovely for recuperating after a long drive. Pet friendly. This Best Western does not offer breakfast. There is a restaurant across the parking lot that serves pretty good food but is a little pricey

Excellent service. Great room and great for pets. Only thing missing is the onsite breakfast but they have to go snack bags. Will plan to stop again in our travels. Night manager was phenomenal and very helpful

Staffs are very friendly and professional. Room is Clean and spacious with rustic decor. With membership, price is affordable. Free coffee, tea, Internet and breakfast. Definitely recommend this place.

Great hotel to stay at with dogs. Beautiful grounds and convenient location. The restaurant on site was ideal after spending a long day on the road. Very friendly staff. There is a train nearby, but that didn't bother us.

It was a pleasure to stay at this hotel. As my trip was a transit from Denver to Seattle I only stayed for one night; however, if I were to have to stay longer term I would certainly pick this hotel.It was a very pleasant experience and I look forward to the opportunity to stay there again.

Basic hotel. The beds were firm and the room was clean. I was disappointed I was told there was breakfast but what it was, was more of a snack bag to go. I didn't really stay long here only over night as I was passing through. The breakfast in the restaurant in parking lot was affordable and lots of food.

I brought various family members from California and rented four rooms at this motel. We were all different ages and backgrounds. Everyone loved their accommodations and the restaurant. What was surprising was to discover a very large private park directly behind the motel. It is beautifully landscaped and includes a very, very large Koi pond and paved path ways. Dogs belonging to motel guests were welcome.

Very nice room, very comfortable.Disappointed that there is no restaurant, but happy that a restaurant was in walking distance. Enjoyed the coffee bar, free newspapers and the Grab and Go bags. The staff was very helpful, eager to please. Also the room was very quiet, didn't hear the other guests moving about. Entries to the rooms might be better, though. My handicapped husband had difficulties walking through the stones to get to the room.

Good hotel and location for quick over night stop on the way up to Yellowstone. Don't expect breakfast, but the restaurant next door is excellent for breakfast. Very easy on/off for the highway and a good quality BW. Hotel lobby is nicely decorated. Price is good. Grab and go breakfast snacks offered by hotel but ask for it. Near highway but quiet.

It's an older but cozy property. I drove the 35 miles from Salt Lake City because it was $60 cheaper on a Friday night. I would give it 3 stars, everything worked with a new tv, room was on the small side but ok with a mini refrigerator and comfortable bed in a clean room.

This was a lucky break for me since all hotels were booked along Interstate 15 for the great eclipse. A clerk at a nearby Holiday Inn checked Hotels.com and told me of an opening at the Best Western, just at the next off ramp. The room was ok. It was clean and comfortable. Internet was fine. Mattresses, towels, carpet, et al did not show wear patterns. The breakfast could be greatly improved, since it was a grab and go consisting of only a fruit, water and granola bar. A hot item and juices would be better. A sit down area would be better also. Overall, the hotel was very good.

I stayed at at Best Western In Ogden, 200 miles from the eclipse, because the rates were so much better. I was impressed beyond my expectations by the beauty of the grounds and the amenities. My room faced a spacious lawn and garden, with a beautiful pond and waterfall. A freight train would amble by from time to time. From LA to this was like night and day! The fitness room had more machines than you usually see in a hotel, and the restaurant, Jeremiah's, was a stopping ground for locals...not just at "hotel" restaurant. I have only good things to say.

We stayed here on the way to the eclipse and on the way back. The rooms aren't large, but big enough, and everything worked as it should. The attraction for us was the gigantic on-leash dog-walking area adjacent to the hotel. At least a couple of acres of grass and a koi pond kept the dog entertained. Take a few quarters for fish food to feed the koi. Food at Jeremiah's was just okay.

room was not cleaned after first night...requested wake up call due to difficulty adjusting clock--did not get one...twelve sharp edges on various furniture in room--received injury...both room keys inoperable after first night--both of which were kept separately from each other...not breakfast other than an orange & granola bar--formerly guests were given a food voucher for nearby restaurant.

My wife and I were here for one night on our eclipse trip. Friendly staff. Room was fine. No breakfast, but they had grab and go bags (fruit, water, granola bar). Nice looking pool (but didn't use). The door knob didn't work well... Was sticking. Had to do several (like 6) very very hard pulls. . Went to the office and told them it needed attention. She explained to me that I needed to pull the handle 'up'. Okay... I suggested that they should tell guests about this on check in. She responded that various of the doors are different - some up and some down. I was going to suggest that it was still worth mentioning it, but it was pretty clear the desk clerk wasn't really interested... They also made a big deal about the hotel restaurant - Jeremiah's. Maybe it has awesome breakfasts, but dinner was really marginal. I don't understand the strong ratings.

Booked double room with sofa bed. Even with the (double sized) sofa bed extended this room is huge & spacious. Very comfortable and clean room. No continental breakfast, but hot drinks & a 'grab & go' bag (water/fruit/granola bar) provided. On site restaurant (Jeremiah's) offers great range of good food at good prices ($70 for meal & drinks for 4). Would fully recommend staying here- I'm very pleased to have chosen this hotel & it's a shame to have stayed only 1 night on our road trip.

I actually booked this hotel through priceline.com as a three star option. The room was nice, had a cute little couch and a bench. The fixtures were updated. We didn't take advantage of the free breakfast or the pool but I did get a complimentary newspaper. I would stay here again.

Stayed for a couple of nights with my family including two dogs. Room was nice and clean. Bed could be a little more comfortable. Best part of the stay was the dog park directly across our room. Hands down the best dog park at any Best Western we've stayed in. Ladies at the front desk could be friendlier, after all, they're the first impression a guest encounters.

I really enjoyed my stay at this place. The back area is fantastic, and the room was clean and bed was comfy. I'll be back if I ever come back to this area. Great breakfast. Staff was friendly and front desk very helpful.

Quick and easy check in. Nice clean place to stay. Perfect location for basic needs for travel. Nice pool and quiet place with good ample parking for everyone's needs. No problem with check out and great grab and go breakfast for everyone in your party. Plus options of hot coffee, cocoa or tea and water to go.

Check your bed sheets!!!!!! Ours had body hair all over them meaning they were clearly not changed. This is one of the most unacceptable things you can do.... makes you wonder what else they don't clean.

The hotel overall was okay, nice area. The service for check-in was not great. Not very friendly. We were first told there were no rooms available, but when we asked where there was another hotel, they suddenly had a room. Over priced compared other Best Westerns.

We loved the mountain lodge theme and the huge park-like grounds and pond behind the hotel. Good rates, comfy beds and Jeremiah's restaurant next door delivered a hot and delicious dinner. Wish I could go back.

I traveled to Ogden July 21-July 23 to visit my son and his family. I had made reservations so check in was smooth and fast. My room was a suite with separate sitting and bedroom located on the back of the property on the second floor. I believe it is the only room of this size on the property. there was both stairway and elevator access. Everything was clean and fresh smelling. the carpet and furniture seemed to be relatively new. they had taken 2 regular size rooms and turned them into one nice sized suite. I had a small refrigerator and a microwave and free Wi-Fi. the 2 below window a/c units were efficient. the temp that weekend was in the mid 90's each day. the back of the property overlooked a small park with walking trail and a pond. I was able to park at the base of the stairway directly in front of my room. The housekeeping staff was very friendly and did a good job. DOWNSIDE: the computer in the lobby for guest usage was ridiculously slow. if you want to check in for your flight and print your boarding pass using this computer, allow about 45 minutes time to do so. the front desk staff could act a little more personable. both interactions I had with the front desk was pretty dry. they were very efficient and professional, but maybe a little weak making people feel welcome and appreciated. my only complaint about the room...the toilet...for the type room it was, I think they could have spent just a very few dollars more and upgraded the toilet. it was slow to flush, although it did flush, you had to hold the handle down for a few seconds. also, the toilet seat was as cheap as you can buy and was not a good fit. when you sat down, it wiggled. just not something I expected from the room. I will stay here again on my next visit and will request the same room. overall a good experience, but...with a little improvement could have been better.

The hotel was fine. The fact that we couldn't park by our room because a phantom group was to arrive before we left and needed the spaces (which didn't occur) really burned me. It was a Monday evening and very few travelers were there, so the issue was a non issue if somebody had some common sense!

Overall we enjoyed visiting with family, but the motel itself was not what we hope when we stay at Best Western. I had stayed here a few years ago, for a night and had no issues, but with a 3 night 4 day stay, I was a bit disappointed.

It was ok. I honestly don't think it deserves a plus rating considering it met the bare minimum requirements for being a hotel room. The evening staff could have been better--the old woman was rude and the younger blond working with her was picking her teeth while talking with me--who does that?? Overall, not terrible, but I'd mark it as overpriced considering it simply meets the bar and goes not further than that.

Beautiful place, but employees do not care about your visit. The front desk clerk was rude from the beginning when I asked for a place to get a cold drink and something to eat at check in. We found someplace on our own, 2 miles from motel which she should have known, not Pilot truck stop or 7-11 as she suggested .There was water running either upstairs or in room next door, listened to it all night, front desk lady did not want to fix, or look into. Neither of us got any sleep and I mean none. We didn't know if ceiling was going to drip water on us, or we would wake up to a flood. All night the water could be heard, her response was "are you sure it is not coming from upstairs", which I am now thinking is a recycle water service and she knew about it, for the 2nd time I called at 12:40 she didn't answer the phone. The maid knocked 5 times after being informed when we would be leaving. It was rude, for we couldn't get dressed for her. The front desk service was the same person at night and in the am. She had no desire to wait on anyone. When we were checking in, another guest came and told her the unit she gave them had someone in there and her response was "are you sure". The lady said yes their items, suitcases etc are in there. Rather than finish waiting on us, she started helping the other customer with the response, "well I guess I can move you". When we checked out, she made no attempt to ask how how stay was or nothing, even with the phone call I had made first thing in the am to state the water was still running. She had nothing to say about the issue, she totally ignored what I called about. I will never stay here again, nor will I suggest staying here to anyone.

Very nice motel style place to stay. Rooms are relaxing, clean, comfy beds. Air conditioning worked very well and not overly noisy. Entire hotel including laundry room is nice and clean. Best part is beautiful small park like area beside hotel. Well maintained, walking path, bridge over fish pond. We loved feeding the fish, and sitting on the large public walkway/balcony overlooking the green space. Jeremiahs restaurant in the same parking lot is excellent!! Didn't hear the train at all from room 230 (on the north side of the hotel). Very reasonable rate too. Definitely will stay here again.

Except for the overbooking and resulting less than expected sleeping arrangement and too few towels - and the dinutive breakfast service, all was well. Appearance of exterior and interior and professionalism of the staff were excellent

The hotel was very nice, staff extremely friendly and helpful. The toilet paper needs to be upgraded. This BW did not offer breakfast but gave us "To go bags" which contained a very usefull bottled water.

Beautiful surroundings and peaceful place to stay. They always had fresh baked chocolate chip cookies in the lobby. They do not offer breakfast. They do have coffee and lattes and in the morning they give you a "snack-go" bag which contains a granola bar and orange. In the same parking lot they have a very nice family Restaurant/bar opened for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is very good!

Western stayed at the BW Plus High Country Inn after driving 10+ hours from Lewiston, ID, where we were visiting my wife's family. The appearance of the Inn is like a ski chalet. The extra park in the back with a paved walk, and a pOnda with Koi fish swimming around, was very peaceful and much needed after a long haul!

Enjoyed our trip To Utah and Best Western was a great hotel. A clean facility with a friendly helpful staff. Nice outdoor pool for the kiddos to burn energy in! All in all a great experience! And my bed was on believably comfortable!!!!

Definitely a cheap MOTEL feel without continental breakfast. The room rate was offered for the same price as a nicer Hotel. The rooms were small, beds really small, and it difficult to sleep . The environment was a poor try of remodeling a Motel 6. Disappointed that this location had the Best Western name associated with the Inn.

The staff was so caring and helpful. The room was nice and clean and a comfortable bed and everything that we have come to expect from BW. I will definitely stay there again. We were road weary and this BW property was just what we needed.

The best parklike grounds to stroll on, even has a large koi fish pond. No hot breakfast, restaurant with room service next door. Rooms are so so. Expensive compared to comparable room elsewhere. We traveled over 4000 miles staying in motels, so think we know about prices. They are pet friendly and we appreciated that Clean. Tiniest commode and tub ever. They must be for a camper. A large person might want to check their rooms bathroom before staying. Ours was awful.

We stayed one night traveling through Ogden. It was easy to find and was very surprised at the back pond and waterfall. It was a pleasant surprise after a hot motorcycle ride. The covered patio overlooks the back park and the rooms were very clean, roomy and nicely decorated. I will definitely come back.

Great location for my purpose. The front desk personnel went out of their way to allow me a very late check out so I had a place to finalize getting ready for my son's wedding! The beds were very high quality. Great night sleep before the wedding the next day!

Too High Priced for the quality of room Air conditioner was very noisy and the hot water was Luke warm at best. This is the most I ever paid for a Best western hotel and probably was not worth the money,

The rooms are very nice. There's a big fridge and microwave. The staff is pleasant. The only problems we had- the toilet would rock every time it was sat on, needs to be fixed. Also, the first day- the room was nice and clean. But we stayed 4 days and after the first day, they didn't really clean the room or add to the toiletries we had used. The bed was made, that was about it. The floor was never vacuumed. But overall, it was a nice place to stay.

The hotel is more couple and dog friendly than family friendly. Pool is outdoors and very small and no hot tub. We liked it because it was close by several restaurants and the Salomon center which has lots of activities.

This hotel is a little older and needed some minor touch up but it was still a good place to stay. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. No breakfast to speak of but we were leaving early as we had a long day ahead of us and their is a restaurant on the property.

The Staff was extremely nice & friendly. The lobby & room were very nice.. However, the shower needs a lot of help. I was either getting scalded or frozen. There was no in between. When I informed the front desk, they were very apologetic, but the issue was not fixed. nor was there an offer to change rooms. . I ended up showering at a friends house. I will stay at this hotel again, but only if they fix the water heater issue. I will definitely be confirming prior to making reservations.

We spent the night in Ogden on our move to Seattle in May. We ended up at the Best Western since it was one of only a couple hotels in the Ogden/Layton area that was cat friendly. The hotel is right near the freeway and close to nearby gas stations. In addition, there was a restaurant on site that sold typical comfort foods. We actually ended up arriving well before check-in time but were able to get a room right away. The staff we encountered were friendly when we checked in and out. In the morning, the hotel provides a breakfast bag to go (fruit, water, granola bar). The hotel has all outside entrances, which was super convenient when unpacking and repacking the car. We were incredibly surprised by the room, and truthfully this is one of the nicest Best Western Hotels I've stayed in. The room has a mission style vibe and looks to be recently remodeled. Truthfully the rooms had a similar feel to the Grand Californian Hotel (one of my top favorite hotels). All the furniture was in top condition and the room was extremely clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable as well. We did have an incident during our stay, which unfortunately is why I can't give 5-Stars for my review. After a few hours in our room someone was at our hotel room door trying to get in. All of a sudden, they open the door and start to walk right in. Once they realize their mistake they quickly exit. We then call the front desk to find out they mistakenly gave our room number and a set of keys to someone checking in. About 20-minutes later the front desk sent someone over with a new set of keys. We did receive an apology over the phone and from the person who delivered the keys. Mistakes do happen but this definitely was concerning.

What a wonderful Best Western Hotel. Yes, It has this delightful park like setting in the back of the property. You can walk along a paved trail by a large fish pond. After driving all day what a wonderful way to relay and unwind. I'm pleased to say that it is pet friendly. I didn't care for the train sound at night but that would not deter me from staying there again. The hotel is well cared for and decorated with mission furniture and a comfortable western style decorations. Very nice place to stay!

This BW is better than most we encountered in our 3 week trip across country. Very engaging front desk staff. Pleasant, friendly, welcoming with the warm cookies, helpful dinner recommendations, quick check-in, appropriately priced accommodations. Although on a busy street, the facility is set back from the road. We had a room in the rear of the building which had a magnificent view of the pond, grassy areas, and snow-capped mountains.

Clean, comfortable room. Even though the rooms all open to the outside, I had a quiet night with no disruptions at all. Lady at the front desk was great with my late check in. She was busy working alone and it seemed like a big party had just checked in before me, but she was friendly, courteous and fast. Jeremiah's is great for breakfast just across the parking lot. There's a well kept park next to the hotel - wasn't sure if it was part of the hotel or not, but it felt like a private park. My mini fridge wasn't working, but that was the only issue. I look forward to staying here again.

We often travel with our dog, so we appreciate this dog friendly motel. The grounds are beautiful. The rooms are comfortable. The restaurant is convenient and offers good comfort food. The staff is friendly; the desk personnel at check in and check out were positive, professional, personable, and proud to work at this Best Western.

The rooms all have doors that open outside . There was noise even with a room in the back . So I did not slept well., which I normally do not have a problem . But I am not big on hotels with the door to the room opening to the outside.There is no breakfast which is not a standard for best western. They will give you a grab bag in the morning that has a bottle of water , bar and piece of fruit. They do have apples, coffee , water, tea and a hot choc etc in the lobby 24 hours a day. The front desk was fine. The room have a coffee maker, fridge and microwave . I would not put this hotel on my list of places to return to, if I am in the area.

This hotel is located right off the highway but is quiet and clean. The rooms are good sized with two queens plus a little more space. A big plus is that it is pet friendly and there is a large grassy park with a good sized koi pond with a waterfall and small walking trail located behind the hotel. Relaxing and pretty! Coffee is available in the morning and a grab and go breakfast with a piece of fruit, granola bar and bottle of water to take on the road. Not bad for the price!

The Hotel, Employee's, Rooms and the Grounds were really nice. Very Clean and Staff was very Professional. I was disappointed for the Price that there was no Breakfast, Most Best Western's offer A great Continental Breakfast.

Clean room, very comfortable. Best Western is almost always reliable with cleanliness and larger than average, comfortable spaces. This hotel has an amazing park behind it, just for guests. Lovely, large koi pond with waterfall, bridge, glider benches, and paved walkway around pond and very large grass areas. Such a wonderful surprise to find that private bit of wilderness. Just off the interstate but only 5 minutes from downtown Ogden. After a miserable stay at the historic but badly-remodeled Ben Lomond hotel downtown, I was grateful to find this hotel.
