This place was great for our family of five. We enjoyed the stay. We all were able to enjoy the options at breakfast. The pool was good. The area around the hotel had plenty of options to eat. It was nice a quiet when it was time to sleep.

The bed is wasn't comfortable. A lot of stairs to walk up and down. The elevator is very small for this large of a hotel. Breakfast was a normal hotel breakfast. Our room had some issues and when my husband left a note at checkout with the front counter person they didn't seem concerned. Easy on/off I15 heading either direction. Avoid room 241 as the bathtub drips a lot, the door to the room doesn't fit and it lets a lot of light in around the door. The couch sags at both ends and is uncomfortable. The AC/Heating unit doesn't have a door on the control panel and lights up the room at night. It was a quiet hotel for being so close to I15.

Love this hotel. All the staff and managers are very accommodating and always smiling and friendly !!! I often have my elderly mother with me and the staff all goes out of there way to be kind and helpful to her. I really appreciate that !!! Very nice rooms - always very clean !!! This hotel is off of I-15 but the hotel is quiet and in a good safe location. I always enjoy my stay at this Best Western !

In Utah for my daughter's softball recruiting just one night and great stay. Not a fan of UT as a whole, but this BW was great! Haha Room was clean property was nice. Close to lots of food options! Overall great experience! Will stay again!

From start to finish our experience was top notch!!! Awesome breakfast as well. The front desk staff was super friendly and helpfully. This will be our go to destination when traveling throught the area.

Friendly staff, comfortable room, great shower and breakfast buffet with many options. There are restaurants, a Walgreens and supermarket at a walking distance. I even got the chance to buy a sim card at one of the two phone companies nearby. It's not near downtown but you won't have a problem with a car (plenty of parking spots) or calling an Uber.

Every time I'm traveling I book with them they allow pets, the wifi isn't bad, and they have free breakfast. My only complain would be the pool seemed green and rusted other than that I stay here every time.

Extremely clean rooms and grounds. Staff is very nice and helpful. Tons of food choices close by and easy access to the highway! Dog friendly rooms and grounds, everything maintained so well! Would stay again!

Had an issue checking in one hour early. Beds weren't made. The wall of the bathroom was gross! Don't clean around toilets, breakfast was bad quality. It was very loud, could hear upstairs and side neighbors. The location was great though. But if you want to feel welcome, this is not the place.

Great spot to relax after a full day of business meetings. The hot tub was especially nice. The morning staff was very friendly when I went in for breakfast. I was able to sleep great each night. There were also a few restaurants within walking distance from the hotel!

Overall a good stay spacious room. We got the suite for family of five. Breakfast was standard fare. Rooms were clean but dated. My son says pull out couch was bumpy. Friendly front desk staff. While breakfast was average, it was not crowded like so many free breakfasts. Ample parking.

We stayed here while some repairs were being made on our home after a flood. We'd already been dealing with insurance and contractors for nearly two months, and were at our whits end.This location was ideal for our family and the manager went above and beyonds to help us out. The the rooms were clean, beds were comfy, pool was fun, breakfast had a great options, and the staff was kind - even when my four kiddos were still eating breakfast at 10 ;). Since we had a longer stay, we really appreciated the variety of restaurants and grocery store across the street.

This was a great stay for my family!! All the staff I interacted with (on the phone and at the desk and the cleaning staff) were so friendly! I felt like they met any needs we had. It was clean and we thought this was a great pick for our visit to Lagoon Parks.

I accidentally left about $200 in clothing behind. When I returned home I realized my mistake. The lady I spoke with was helpful and returned my call saying they had my clothes and would ship them out in a few days. 2 weeks went by and I hadn't seen or heard anything. So I call again. This lady says she will look into it and call me back. Nothing. I try 3 more times with the same results “we will look into it”. “Don't worry, I got you”. Nothing. I've even written to best western corporate asking for help. Nothing. Zero response from anyone outside of my initial call where they confirmed they had my clothes. Management I am willing to delete or modify this if I receive my clothes. I checked out of room 411 on 11/19/2022. You already have my info.

Very nice location close to freeway and all kinds of food and things to do around us with in 15 miles. Hotel was very nice and clean staff was very professional and nice over all 10/10 hotel for us we would definitely recommend to other!!!

I've never had a better breakfast at a hotel! It was superb with many hot and cold options. My favorite was the bacon and eggs and hash browns. My children loved the pastries and hot cocoa and fruit. Thank you! Hope to come again.

Hotel was filthy, I looked behind the TV because it wasn't working and I almost threw up. Bottles, socks, about 2 inches of dust.... called the night before my checkout and asked if I could checkout 2 hours late, they said no problem just call in the morning so we can let our maid know, I went to my meeting and called when they told me and they told me they wild give me an extra 30 minutes. So i had to leave my meeting to go check out and they didn't even have the room booked after me. They need to fire everyone there and start over, the only helpful staff is the breakfast people.

Overall good location with easy access to the highway. A good example of the Best Western Plus brand. Would give an extra 1/2 star if possible due to it being a pet-friendly location. I travel through the western US for my work so I stay in hotels most of the year. Cleanliness, comfort and welcoming hotel personnel are very important to me. The Best Western in North Salt Lake Utah has always been one if my favorite hotels. Their managers Erik and Emily genuinely care about giving their guests a good experience. Their Head Housekeeper Terra has always been very accomodating when I've needed a late checkout or needed any service. Their front desk staff are great and often remwmber me by name. I stay at this Best Western when I visit family. I have stayed here for years and I have always had a wonderful experience.The rooms are always clean, nice and very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel!!!

The staff is friendly and helpful. Always willing to go the extra mile to accommodate you.. Breakfast is served earlier than anywhere else I've stayed.. The rooms are large and super clean.. By the way! Their coffee maker is off the chain! Different selections of coffee choices..

We were very happy with the room and the close location to the airport since we had a flight the next day. Most of the staff were very friendly except for the lady at the front desk on the morning of our check out yesterday. We asked if there is flexibility to check out a little later since we had a flight in the afternoon and she refused unless we paid an extra 50% of the room rate which never ever happened at the other BWs we stayed at. She gave us a BS excuse that the hotel was ‘understaffed' which the other hotels we stayed at were as well but were able to accommodate us. When we checked out, we noticed there were many rooms still waiting to be cleaned so don't understand why she couldn't give us a little more time to check out later since the cleaning staff had so many other rooms to clean and could have cleaned ours later. In the beginning of our trip we stayed at the Best Western Plus at Layton Park 798 W 1425 N, Layton, Utah 84041 which is 5 mins away from this BW which was $50 cheaper, close to the SLC airport, close to the Antelope Island state park, had clean rooms, good breakfast and the front desk was very friendly and accommodating. We should have stayed at that one again. We wouldn't come back to this one.

After a long day of driving I was so glad to check into my nice clean and comfortable room. I traveled with my dog and it was nice seeing the other pups staying also. The hotel lobby was clean and comfortable feeling. I felt safe walking my dog around the hotel in the evening time. I was thinking about staying an extra night.

I had the best trip and stay ever . The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was good. I really enjoyed the swimming pool and the hot tub as well. The location was centrally located, and close to my family members

Everyone was helpful from checking in through departure. Yes please, sir and Mam were commonplace. The condition of the property is equally top notch. No maintenance issues were seen nor encountered. Excellent.

I was recently in The Salt Lake City area. I flew there, rented a car and took a roadtrip in Utah, Idaho, Colorado and New Mexico. I stayed at this location on a Friday then a Sunday. I'm big on checking reviews and the reviews here were great. The price was higher than I'd like but the reviews were too good to pass it up. This hotel was great! It is well worth the price. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. The first night I was without a car so I had to walk around to find a nearby grocery store, gas station and restaurants. I felt very safe walking around the area even after dark. The rooms had a regular curtain and a blackout curtain in the window. The blackout curtain worked very well. The breakfast was amazing! I would have been happy if I had paid for it but it is free of charge. The first morning it was scrambled eggs with ham and cheese, sausage links and hash browns. The second morning I was there it was more of a breakfast burrito kind of scrambled eggs, bacon (very fatty which is a huge plus for me!), and hash browns. One thing to know in advance is they have discontinued their shuttle service. This did not hurt my review at all but it is important to know before you arrive. The area is a bit of a public transportation dead zone. Not really. They exist. I got the feeling that North Salt Lake is close enough to Salt Lake City that they don't feel the need to offer much public transportation to that area but further north does have more options. This is important because I brought a cab from the airport the first night, and this might all be on me for not exploring all my cab options, but I felt bamboozled by the rates. This might be every taxi company there but I was charged over $8 per mile for that ride. It was a 9 mile distance from the airport so I'll let you do the math. So the following day when I went to pick up my rental car I took public transportation. It took a bus and the train to get me to the airport. For the price you couldn't beat it but I found it to be a bit too much. Of course that isn't the hotel's fault but the shuttle would have been a way to avoid all that. If I ever come back to Salt Lake City I would absolutely stay at this hotel. I love it and the surrounding neighborhood.

We stayed here as we were passing through Utah. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were nice and clean. They have an indoor swimming pool was open real late, maybe even open 24 hours. The included breakfast was ok but there are plenty of fast food restaurants behind the back parking lot if you want something different.

We had to be out of our home during renovations for 5 1/2 days. We chose this nearby hotel because of the great reviews. We are very glad we did. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, noise from adjoining rooms was very minimal and the breakfast was good. The people who work there were all very helpful, friendly and professional. They also offer a nice fitness room and pool /hot tub.

My stay at the Cotton Tree Inn was very nice. It was clean and the room was spacious and comfortable. I slept well and enjoyed my time there. It was also quiet, though fairly close to the freeway. I would recommend it.

We've stayed here before when we visit family in the area. It's a clean, quiet, and comfortable hotel. I give it a 4 out of 5 because one of the handicap room's roll in shower needs a repair. I put this here in hopes that it will be fixed. Nice hotel.

This is my top pick to stay at when we come to Utah for volleyball tournaments. This location is close to the tournament venue, easy to get to and from hotel, they have a nice hot breakfast and are close to several other dining options. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My kids enjoyed the pool also.

Close to the city but on the outskirts so less noise and easy to find parking. There's just enough grass area for dogs to potty and our room was conveniently located right near the back/side entrance to the grass. The room was clean and the staff was super friendly! I will be staying at BW Plus hotels in the future where available.

Very clean, quiet, new and nicely decorated and above all comfortable, The hot tub was clean. There are plenty of restaurants in the area. Our room had a sofa bed and king size bed. We had our corgi along with us on this trip and we could not tell it was a pet room. In all the other hotels we have stayed in on our 7,000 mile trek this was the nicest by far.

I was there for maybe 8 hours before I got back on the road. I checked in at 1 in the morning and went to bed. Saw an extra charge on my credit card for $75, asked the front desk. She said it's a deposit for "incidentals". Well needless to say, they kept it. I got on the road after I woke up. Absolutely no reason for this charge. I wouldn't advise staying here either just because they have breakfast, it's horrible. The sausage is greasy, eggs are powdered, bread is hard. 1 star Review. Don't stay here!! I'm changing who I stay with!! These guys are thieves!!

I got this room for the amazing spa bathtub! But I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful and cozy fireplace. The room was very comfortable and perfect. The hot breakfast was delicious and filling.

This hotel offered what I expect, which is great. Clean room. Pleasant, helpful desk staff. Location is next to a shopping plaza so easy to walk there to get groceries or take-out food from many restaurants. Breakfast was what I expect: self serve fruit, cereal, toast, bagels, yogurt. They also had hot items which I didn't try.

I stayed here for 9 nights and was super pleased with all of the services and ammenities that they affer. They do not have a shuttle which was a disappointment but I used AAA Latino to get to and from the airport, $35.00. The area around the hotel has lotsd of choices to shop and to eat plus a grocery store within walking distance. I never felt threatened during my walks. Dogs are allowed which is a plus. There are fast speed internet computors with printers available. Breakfast is served every morning and there is a great choice to choose from. Staff in all departments were helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean. Nice lobby to meet others. I would definitely stay here again

Outside grounds looked great, lobby was clean and fresh, front desk help was excellent, quick and easy. Went around the back of the place to my room, the entry way looked great. Easy stairs to go up. Room was big with a king, sofa sleeper, desk. AC worked excellent. Room super clean and quiet. Bathroom immaculate. Had a super nights sleep. Didnt grab the breakfast. First place I'll look to stay in the area again.

We recently spent one night at this lovely Best Western in North Salt Lake. This is a very large hotel in a good location, with lots of restaurants nearby. The property is very well maintained inside and out. The customer service was excellent and they served a full hot breakfast which was great. We had a room with a king bed, sofa, desk, microwave and refrigerator. The room was nicely furnished, very clean, and the bed was comfortable. I would highly recommend this Best Western when visiting the Salt Lake area.

This is a great place to stay if you're in town to go to Lagoon. It's a quick 10 minute drive there, all freeway. Buy your Lagoon tickets at the hotel for a discounted rate. The continental breakfast is so good! It definitely exceeded our expectations. Your kids will love their pancake maker! The staff is so nice, rooms are clean, and there's an indoor pool/hot tub. Lots of restaurants nearby, and there is a Bahama Bucks snow cone place within walking distance. Definitely recommend!

We love the location, the service, and the amenities at this hotel. It's perfect for us! The staff was able to find us a room to accommodate our needs after my husband's ankle surgery. We are so impressed!

Stayed here for one night prior to flying out. Clean room friendly staff. No problems. They are able to Provide discounted tickets to the lagoon amusement park which we purchased. The kids loved it making it a nice way to cap off our 7 day trip.

A very good dog-friendly Best Western with some modern updates and rustic features still present from the original building. Great green grass around the property for a more natural pet relief area and good walkability around the neighborhood. Yes, they are actually serving a hot breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits with gravy, and pancakes. Of course you will still find the traditional cold breakfast foods as well. There are several restaurants within walking distance, a large food store across the street, and easy access to and from the highway.

This was a great place to stay. It is clean, quiet and convenient. ....When you don't have a car you have several walking distance places to go. Whether your hungry or just wanna go for a walk. Even outside the building felt safe and quiet....

The hotel was absolutely wonderful. This was the first time we stayed in a Best Western & we were blown away. The hotel was so nice & the staff at the front desk were incredibly polite. Definitely a hotel wroth staying at.

We came into town because my spouses father was dying and we came in to say goodbye. It was so nice to have such a clean and relaxing space to come back to every night after spending the day with family. During this emotionally hard time it was great to know we didn't have to worry about our things being safe in the room or going out to breakfast every morning. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was substantial with meat and egg choices every day along with fresh pancakes and other bread choices.

Unfortunately I cannot recall her name but she was tall slender with brown hair about mid length. She was very customer oriented while sticking to BW protocols. She was quick knowledgeable quick and didn't miss a thing. Kudos for making our stay possible and enjoyable. She is a Rock Star

Best stay we've ever had at this price point. The room was so comfortable and clean. The pillows and comforter made for a great nights sleep. Plenty of space. The breakfast had a good variety and was freshly made. We would highly recommend staying at this site.

Don't get me wrong. We stay at this hotel everytime we come into town. But I made my reservation 2months in advance asking for a 1st floor room w/ a kingsize bed w/ adjoining room for my daughter. What I got was a queensize w/o adjoining room. I believe that someone would have made sure what I wanted was given to me. When I got here, my room was down the hall from my daughter. Then they moved us to adjoining rooms w/ queen size bed that smelled so bad that we all got headaches. Then they moved us to rooms that were next door to eachother, but not adjoining.

Roomy, clean, quiet (except for one noisey family). Pillows were wonderful. Breakfast good, front desk efficient. All the things just passing through should be. Travelocity always wants more than I can write.

I have stayed at the Best Western Cottontree Inn many times over the years. The staff and managers are always great - friendly and very professional. They go above and beyond to accommodate their guests. The hotel is always clean and nice and very nice rooms too. I travel for work and stay in hotels the majority of the year. This motel is one of my favorites. I would highly recommend this hotel !

My husband had to have surgery at the University of Utah hospital. I spent the entire week here. The hotel, its employees, the room, internet, and breakfast were above and beyond amazing. We will definitely be staying here again!

Beds were comfy. Room was roomy. Wheelchair fit good in there. My cousin travels with us and it nice that he can come hang in our room with us and play games. Love that there is a microwave and mini fridge.

My husband and I stayed at Best Western Plus Cottontree Inn in North Salt Lake for a little getaway at the recommendation of a friend. The room was a good size and thankfully the bed was comfortable, the jacuzzi was ok, and the breakfast was good. Staff was also nice. Unfortunately however, the room was not the suite we were expecting. It felt very business like inside the room, not at all romantic in decor, furniture, or carpet, with the exception of the fireplace. The location of our room was not very quiet, and didn't feel very private (which was the reason for our stay) It was at the end of the hallway, next to the room with the ice and vending machines, plus we were not far from the stairwell. It would have been fine to be next to that room and stairwells, as long as we didn't have to hear all the commotion going on from other guests, but unfortunately, we did. While our stay at this hotel wasn't terrible, some of it was good, it was just disappointing because we have had nicer rooms from other places and paid less money for it.

I am a Best Western Diamond Select level member of the Best Western frequent stayer program and this hotel is without a doubt the absolute best, Best Western Plus, I have ever had the pleasure of staying. I enjoyed my stay here so much I wish I could have stayed longer. The property is clean, well cared for, and obviously well managed. The staff are all very friendly and go out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. I will definitely stay here again should the opportunity present itself. Also of note during this pandemic the property is obviously taking the situation very seriously and is taking all recommended precautions. I like that they are still serving a hot breakfast but it is not buffet style but cafeteria style where you are served and can easily take the hot food back to your room.

They still serve breakfast. A real breakfast to be exact. The breakfast attendants would personally serve the items to keep everything clean and safe. I was really impressed by the attention to detail the staff had to every cleaning standard. It was a relief after we had to anxiously make an emergency family visit during the COVID crisis. The rooms were impressive like the photos on their website. I've stayed at a lot of Best Westerns and this was one of the "Best" ones. I personally think this is a lot better than the average Plus rated location. This could be considered as good as the Premium Best Westerns.

I loved this Hotel. The staff is very well trained. They are so nice & efficient. AJ at the front desk was so nice & helpful. They still have a hot breakfast. Ashley was there most morning & she had scrambled eggs, hash-browns, and bacon or sausage. She will give you a plate to eat in the dining area or one to go to take to your room. There were a lot of us & we were there 8 nights for work. Ashley was so patient & nice. We all really liked her. They also have cold cereal muffins, juice, milk and oatmeal. The rooms are very clean. The whole place is very clean. The housekeeping staff is awesome. My first day I got lost toting all my luggage. I asked a housekeeper where my room was & she stopped what she was doing & walked me there! She could tell I was frustrated & was so nice. She even offered to carry my luggage. If I hadn't been so tired I would've remember to get her name because she was awesome. Our entire time there was excellent. I highly recommend this Hotel.

We had an exceptional stay at the BW+ Cottonree Inn, Salt Lake City. The hotel was clean (sterile) and safe. The staff go out of their way to make guests safe and comfortable. Even breakfast was served in a unique way to allow guests to enjoy the hot breakfast and stay safe. I say a huge "thanks and way to go" to the staff there!

Over all we were pleased with the service and accommodations of our stay. The location suited our needs. All we needed was not to far away. It made our stay very pleasant. We would recommend the Cotton Wood Best Western to all that are traveling to the Salt Lake City, Utah area. They offer shuttle service to the airport which makes it very covenant to those traveling by air. The city of Salt Lake is not to far away if you have business in the city. For leisure there are many sites that are accessible from this location.

my room was clean beds were comfy restaurants located all over Covid19 screwed up my free breakfast but they gave us a brown bag breakfast granola bar orange banana apple and a muffin they did what they could with the covid19 rules and regulations the staff i mean everyone did a great job

Staff friendly, and very helpful in meeting my needs. Clean rooms and very clean property overall. Very conveniently located with easy Freeway access, yet no freeway noise (at least in the rooms I have stayed in). Highly recommend to anyone needing to stay in the Salt Lake City area.

We were upgraded to the honeymoon suite. The room was oddly configured with a king bed and sofa bed. The sofa bed had to be moved too close to the kind bed in order to open the sofa bed. It didn't leave much walking room for the bed. There was also a fireplace and a wet bar. The bathroom had a whirlpool, toilet and sink in one room and a separate area for the shower with another sink. There were good television channels. Check in was okay but not as friendly and helpful as other Best Westerns where we have stayed. Breakfast was not good as the scrambled eggs were hard and the bagel toppers were dried out.

I checked in and the service was outstanding. The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. The fitness center was very nice and way above average. The breakfast was really good with bacon and I think they were real eggs.

We booked this hotel because we had an early flight out of SLC. This hotel has an airport shuttle. We checked in the evening before our flight and Becca and Ryan were very personable and knowledgable. Matt was our early morning shuttle driver. Awesome guy! The rooms are large and clean. Nothing fancy, but perfect for an evening before a flight. The beds are very comfortable!

The towns we travel have Best Western Hotels, so we can expect consistency without problems. The rooms are always super clean, and the fitness centers also clean and safe. The breakfasts are fresh and catered with great care.

We were put in this hotel by our airline because of delays but it's not close to the airport. Well appointed rooms with a TV & good bathroom. Clean & tidy. They have some breakfast available but it's not a huge variety but still good for getting a quick feed. There is a few takeaway restaurants nearby.

We stayed at this location over the Thanksgiving holiday while we were in town with extended family. From the moment we checked in until we left everything was pleasant, comfortable and inviting. The employees were top notch. Our room was clean and well maintained. The beds, pillows, linens and towels are all great quality. Since this is not a "new" hotel, there are the typical advantages of the older hotels; i.e. larger and more spacious rooms. We weren't in a suite, either. We were in one of the rooms with one king size bed. The rooms are quiet, too. The location is far enough away from the freeway that we weren't bothered at all by traffic noise. The breakfast was very good, with a nice variety of both "hot" and "cold" items. And there's plenty of seating in 2 different locations. We will definitely be back!

This was a staycation with a dual purpose, celebrating our anniversary, without missing some important events that were happening that weekend, so we couldn't leave town. We stayed in the suite with the hot tub and the fireplace. The staff didn't know how to work the fireplace, that was disappointing. It was unseasonably warm so it didn't matter, but the ambiance would have been nice since it was our anniversary. The suite was beautiful, clean, the staff was friendly and helpful! The location was convenient, but for such a nice suite, there was absolutely no view! Also, the access to this hotel is complicated, if you are handicapped it would be really difficult!

i stayed here several months ago to go to new roller coaster at lagoon and nice clean hotel which has a free breakfast and different menu on most days of the week.quiet, clean and walking distance to many eateries and park shuttle-everything you need here including business centerr and pool. it is nice clean and safe and attentive staff

Nice room that was quite pleasant. Typical breakfast options. Good internet. Check-in was slow and the person was not very knowledgeable. Parking was sometimes difficult and the hotel is quite a maze.

Alerted us to an issue with a room feature and made things right without incident. We appreciated the honesty of the staff and their efforts to repair the problem prior to our check-in but were unable to make the repair complete in time. It didn't cause any issue with our stay and we appreciated the manner that they accomodated us.

Awesome hotel very close to the freeway and conveniently located next to several places to eat. The rooms are really nice and everything has recently been remodeled. From the back of the hotel there is an excellent view of the mountains.

This location is right off the highway, pet friendly and has nice rooms and bedding. The rooms have fridges and are very quiet. The breakfast is decent and the staff very friendly, I would recommend staying here.

We did a quick booking on hotels.com and rolled into town. Room had a king bed and a double fold out couch. Mattress was amazing! Updated decor and bathrooms very nice with an amazing hot shower. Included Breakfast was legit with maybe the best scrambled cheesy eggs I've ever had. We will stop here again.

Best Western Cottontree Inn is within walking distance to multiple restarants and near the airport and downtown area. This was handy on our vaction! It was also very clean and staff are friendly, as well as a really good breakfast with multiple options.

Our room was clean and comfy. The bed/bedding was almost nicer than our one at home. Breakfast was hot, plentiful, and delicious. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We love Best Western Motels!

Easy parking for a semi truck, quiet night sleep. Breakfast in the morning was good and the amount of places to eat with in five minutes of walking. Makes this hotel a great place to say and always clean and I look forward to staying again.

Perfect location! Right off the freeway and surround by several restaurants ! From the time we were picked up from the airport by Matt and our return ride to the airport by Dallas, we have had nothing but praise for this hotel and its staff. The front desk people were friendly and helpful and efficient. Our room was clean and comfortable and I even slept the first night! When I booked the hotel, I wasn't sure how we were going to get to and from our meetings. We were informed if the address was within 5 miles of the hotel, we could scheduled a ride to & from. Breakfast was hot and had a good variety of choices. I will definitely use this hotel again when in the area!!

This is Best hotel in the region, there are other best westerns nearby, but I will always choose this one even if it is slightly farther, because how much better it is. They do a free shuttle, free parking if your staying at the hotel, free dogs, and the employees treat you like royalty.

This hotel is just off Interstate 15 in North Salt Lake. It is convenient to the highway and the room we had was comfortable a very clean. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient. Great value for this hotel.

Had to make a quick trip to the Bountiful area and this BW was in the area we needed to be. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the price was right for such a nice location. The room was very clean, great indoor pool and everything you need close by. Will stay here again next time I am in the area.

Had a bad experience at another hotel and found this Best Western and called for a reservation. Front Desk agent, Dario, was most helpful, didnt ask for a credit card to hold and wished me a safe drive to the hotel. Got there and Dario was very willing to let me see the room before booking me in, due to my experience at the other hotel. Was pleased. Had a good nights sleep, bed and room were comfortable and quiet. Good variety of restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast offered in the morning. Not too pricey but well worth the cost. Will mark this hotel on my map for a revisit for sure. Oh, there's a pool. Bring your swimsuit! 5 star.

I am a Best Western premium member. We are at the end of our 2 week trip. This hotel was very nice. The staff was great. The breakfast was good and the beds and decor were good S well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

My 89 year old father, brother, and myself were driving from Phoenix AZ, back to Edmonton AB. We decided to stay at the north end of Salt Lake City at the Best Western Plus Cottontree Inn. The only available room on the first floor, necessary due to my Dad using a walker, was the honeymoon suite with a king size bed, and pull out sofa bed. We arrived late, about 10 pm, so we hoped to sleep right away. Unfortunately this was not possible. Right beside the honeymoon suite was the laundry facilities for the guests. A guest was doing laundry, we tried to sleep but all we heard was the constant clanging possibly due to clothes with a metal belt, or jeans with rivets from the dryer. The guest did laundry until midnight. I stood outside the laundry room, videotaped, and then played it for the front desk attendant, to highlight how noisy it was. The front desk attendant said there was nothing they could do since there were no posted hours of use for the laundry room, and also no attached door to enforce hours of usage if there were any. When a hotel guest has trouble sleeping due to noise; noisy guests, noisy air conditioner, noisy room rental users, etc, most hotels do their best to reduce the noise by dealing with the cause. Best Western Plus Cottontree Inn on the North side of Salt Lake Utah at 1030 N 400 E, did nothing.

We arrived very late at the SLC airport. All the hotels near the airport were full. We drove north towards our home in Idaho and stopped here for the night. Everyone at the hotel was very nice and helpful. In the morning when we checked out they offered us water for the road. The staff was especially attentive to our 10-year-old son. The breakfast was nice and the staff there was very friendly. I feel that I cannot say enough good. We were treated very well!

We were very pleased with our stay. We stayed on a stopover during a 3 week road trip. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the rooms were large. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the indoor pool and the location was great, just a short ride from downtown.

I called to confirm my stay and they were so nice and accommodating of my limitations. Check out was so reasonable there was no reason to rush. Bed was comfortable and lots of pillows, room had already been cooled down to a comfortable temp and never had to be adjusted. Shower towels were soft which was a nice change for the usually hotel fare of scratchy and rough. Pool was clean and fresh towels were out at all times. The Breakfast ran from 6-11 (not the usual 6-8). It had everything and it was all fresh! The eggs had real cheese and chunks of ham. All this for the same price or only a few bucks more than all the other hotels. I will be staying here many more times to come.

This property is in a good location just north of Salt Lake City. It is very clean, with friendly staff, a great breakfast included in the room rate, good internet,and several restaurant options nearby.

I recommend this hotel. The hotel was easily located. It was clean, very quiet, and comfortable. The staff we interacted with was very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good and the area was kept clean. Several eating places within walking distance and close to Temple Square which is where we spent time.

We often travel with our dogs and this hotel made the trip very easy. Our room was right near and exit, first floor, and there was a nice dog area with potty bags. There no question that the hotel and staff were comfortable having dogs on site. Oh, our dogs are polite and experienced travelers!

Very nice rooms with pool open 24/7. We were in pool until 10:30 pm with grandkids. Includes breakfast and the price was great. very easy area to get to right off the highway. They are also pet friendly even though we didn't end up bringing a dog.

We were passing through Salt Lake during a family vacation and stayed here. Very clean, good breakfast, nice pool and convenient (right off the highway). We liked our stay so much that we stayed here again on our return trip. Would definitely recommend!

This is s very nice hotel- updated and with good amenities but do know the 3rd and 4th floor can only be reached by stairsin case you have trouble climbing them, The front desk do not tell you -you find out by yourself when you go to your room

We stayed at this hotel the other night at the end of a three day trip across the western United States and had a great experience! We booked this hotel last minute since we ended up having to stay the night in Salt Lake City, Utah, it appeared to be nice from the pictures and the price was good so we decided to give it a try. We ended up being very happy. Upon driving up to the property we were immediately impressed with the way it looked from the outside and how clean it looked. This continued into the lobby which was very nice! We were greeted by a very friendly front desk employee who checked us in quickly and explained the amenities of the hotel. They offer a free breakfast that looked like it was a good one and there is an indoor pool that is open 24 hours! We didn't get to use either of those things since we had gotten in late and were very tired and then we had a very early flight out of Salt Lake City International Airport in the morning. We got to our room and were very happy with it, it was one of the nicest best Western hotel rooms I have stayed in. The room had your typical hotel amenities and was spotlessly clean! I was very impressed with how clean both the bathroom and room were, because that is something I am kinda picky with but this location place was great! The beds were comfortable and we had a good night sleep. Overall this hotel was very nice and I would definitely stay there again next time I am spending the night in Salt Lake City, as i do frequently since Utah is my favorite state to go explore!

The staff is always friendly. The room is always clean. The let my dogs stay. What else do I need to say? It is central to our family and I think they are remodeling. Last time we were there we went to Smiths across the street and bought snacks to have.

My room was in the newly renovated portion of the hotel and it was excellent! Very clean and it had everything that I needed. The only negative for me was that the vending machines only accept cash. Small potatoes in the grand scheme of things for sure. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay. Very affordable rate for such a nice room. Will definitely be staying here again!

It was a really nice place especially for the price but try and use the pool at 11 PM a bunch of kids under the age of 14 got to play around with their music super loud. There were kids there until 3am. There really should be a curfew for those trying to have an adult getaway and not having kids jump in and out of a hot tub seems only respectful. A 24 hour pool should not have kids screaming and running around until 3am. The staff was too scared to do anything about it it seemed.

The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable And the staff was very helpful. Breakfast was a typical motel breakfast but was good. The location was good there is several restaurants in the vicinity. I would not hesitate to stay again.

Will never stay at this Best Western again even though it is close to our where we visit frequently. Due to weather conditions we changed the date we were going to stay there and they doubled the rate. Neither the manager of BW Corp. would credit or adjust the rate. Very disappointed as we had stayed at 4 other Best Westerns in the 2 weeks prior to this and they were all great.

We landed very late, (actually, very early) at the airport and were grateful for the easy, quick check in. We were exhausted from a long flight, and really enjoyed the tastefully decorated room and the comfy bed. It's in a great location, easy off and on the freeway. Lots of good places to eat nearby. Reasonable rates, we'll be back!

Found our stay here to be easy. Great location, just off of the I-15 and located by a ramp. The rooms were clean and quiet. Breakfast was a little better than the average buffet offerings. Only negative I found was that everyone has to pass thru the dining area to get to the front desk, making it very busy as people were checking out and eating. We would stay here again.

I visit this hotel about 3-5 times a year for work. I like that there is a low turnover with the staff, I enjoy seeing the same friendly faces, the staff is very helpful and resourceful, and their fresh baked cookies rock! The only negative I have for this trip is that they changed their furniture and decor. It used to be rustic and high quality, like a lodge or cabin (very cozy and comfy). Now the furniture feels cheap and is more modern. Besides that breakfast is killer, pool and work out areas are nice.

The BW Cotton Tree was easy to find off the main highway, had plenty of free parking, and overall was in excellent condition, looking to be recently remodeled. The rooms were nicely arranged, very clean, with pleasant decor. The fitness room had treadmill, elliptical, and other aerobic equipment as well as a weight machine for both legs and upper body. The room is also a decent size -very nice. The free breakfast in the morning had eggs, sausage, bagels, toast and very good coffee. The hotel itself was very quiet which made for a good nights sleep. Overall we recommend this hotel and would stay here again when in the area.

Staff was friendly. Room was not clean,had hair in bathroom tub drain,broken window screen,breakfast was just ok.offered no fruits,milk warm.Tried do laundry but staff had no change was told had go to a store get it.

Hotel is being remodeled and painted, with new carpet. It looks really nice love the color palette. I appreciate the owners caring enough to update the hotel. It is nice to walk into a newly renovated room that is clean and fresh.

We aren't picky with hotels or leave bad reviews. I feel the need to warn anyone with a family who is considering this hotel. The first night we were there, we got a phone call that another guest reported us for being too loud. We were talking at a normal tone getting the kids in bed. I was very surprised! We were not being loud. The next night, a bit after 7pm after spending 10 hours at Temple Square we got another noise complaint. This time I started crying because we couldn't even unwind and talk. I had to keep my kids from talking. As my husband and I were laying in bed speaking about how terrible it was there and how sad and unwelcome we felt, (slightly above a whisper volume) we got a 3rd noise complaint. We were being next to silent! I cried more. The next morning we checked out 2 days early, which was a huge hassle. Also, the website did not mention that the indoor pool would be closed. The pull-out sofa had no bedding or pillows in the room and when we went down to get more there was no way for them to give us pillows. The rooms in the 300's and 400's have no elevator, which really sucked. But most of all, we felt incredibly humiliating and unwelcome. We are regular travelers and this was hands down the worst hotel experience of both my husband and my own lives. Devestatingly horrible. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean, but in the end it didn't matter.

We travel with 2 medium breed dogs. This is our favorite hotel to stay when traveling with the pups. The 'dog' rooms have always been placed conveniently to accommodate getting pups in and our of the building safely for them and other guests. The pet friendly rooms have been better on average than most of the hotels we frequent. The staff is always polite, helpful and efficient. Every stay with this property has been a good experience.

Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff was courteous and friendly. The only issue we had was the internet wasn't working in our room. We will be sure to stay again when in town.It snowed while we were there and they kept the sidewalks and parking lot free of snow and ice.

This an excellent facility to stay. It is undergoing remodeling at this time but the management is handling it exceptionally well and they must have excellent contractors. The interference is none and I do not know how it could be handled better.

This was a great hotel. We checked in and Ethan offered us an upgrade (as we are Platinum Best Western Reward Members). The upgrade was fantastic as it had a king size bed, fireplace, jacuzzi, and walk in shower with two shower heads. They also had fresh cookies and a water dispenser in the lobby. Breakfast was good with the usual eggs, sausage, biscuits, waffles, pastries and cereal.

This is a perfect hotel from the beginning to the end back in June was my 1st time in Salt Lake City even tho I wanna as going to Woods Cross, beautiful rooms very clean hotel staff is great they go over and beyond the shuttle drivers are good breakfast was great if I ever do come back to Salt Lake City I will always stay at this hotel, December 31 was my last trip there I am sad because they are phenomenal.

We stopped for one night and were checked in very efficiently, with a pleasant greeting. This is a very well maintained property. Our room was very clean and comfortable. It was on the south side of the property, with easy access to the car park. We did not use the pool, but it looked very nice--just didn't have time to enjoy it. The breakfast area is adequate, and included some hot items. This was a pleasant place, easy to access from I-15, right off the freeway. It is now on my list of preferred places to stay when passing through.

My brother had booked at another brand and was not impressed upon arrival. I convinced him to try Best Western, as I've had good look in the past. This hotel made him see the virtues of a reputable brand. The woman who checked us in was an absolute delight. Everything was clean and comfortable with a super friendly staff!

The Best Western Plus Cottontree Inn is an easy on/off freeway location. The area was clean and quite, even though the freeway was very close. We didn't hear any traffic noise. The employees were all very friendly and seemed well trained. They have a very cool coffee machine near the lobby which had whipped coffee that was delicious. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We liked that the pillows were not all so firm as to give you a stiff neck, some soft & fluffy others abit more stiff.

Room was clean, and comfortable, although a long walk to the lobby. We had a nice evening. I got up to use the bathroom and banged my foot on the bed frame at the end of bed, they were poorly designed for a hotel. My husband did it too, so between us 4 times, leaving a very tender toe for me for days. Breakfast was good, all good eats, clean and other wise this hotel needs some upgrades.

Laundry was convenient as was parking. Breakfast had good choices including fresh fruit and skim milk. The room where the food was located was small so we had to go to another nearby area. Check in and out was easy.

My husband and i decided to start our vacation in Salt lake City before driving up to the Grand Tetons and Idaho. This Best Western had two specific qualities we looked for: an airport shuttle and complete breakfast. A traveler is thus saving money right there!! For the money, it offers excellent value. Clean rooms, very helpful staff; in particular AJ and Lexi who assisted us with various requests. Cody and Mike were good shuttle drivers. The location is good for restaurants, drug stores, etc. Also, lots of tourist info in vending machine areas.

Nice hotel but very confusing late check out policy. Make sure to ask for specific details if you wish to request this. The 800 reservations person nor night staff knew all of the required information. Otherwise nice property.

Although the hotel is on the highway, you would not know it. We enjoyed a late night check in, great hospitality and quite sleep. We were towing a car and driving a big truck. They gentlemen at the desk were very helpful with respect to easy parking and easy access into the hotel. We felt secure in North Salt Lake.

My dad has been an avid member of Best Western for over 5 years. We've never had a problem with them until three weeks ago. Our family went on a trip to Utah for a national competition for taekwondo. We booked a room at Best Western Plus Cottontree Inn in Salt Lake City, Utah. We were happy with our stay the first night but the happiness didn't last very long. On the day of the competition, we left very early in the morning and arrived to our hotel room at about 2 pm. When we went inside, the whole room was not cleaned all the towels were on the floor, and most horrifying of all, some of our belongings were stolen. The things that were stolen were a whole box of cup noodles, a whole water crate, and food and other beverages from our fridge. They also took the tip that we left for the housekeeper. I know that the things that were stolen aren't that valuable, but the fact that someone came into our room nonetheless is extremely disturbing. We called the front desk and the person that picked up the phone came and didn't really try to help. We told her that we were a little suspicious of the housekeeper because she is the only one with access to our room, and before we left, I made sure that our door was locked, shaking the handle several times. The housekeeper came to our room and told us that there was a "do not disturb" sign on our door. The night we checked in, my dad threw the "do not disturb" sign in the trash can because we never use it. At this point, we were even more suspicious of the housekeeper. We told all of this to the lady who came down and she asked me for my contact information so the "head" or "manager" could give us a call THE NEXT DAY. We immediately cancelled our room reservation for that night and left. It has already been three weeks and we are still waiting for that call. This was the most ridiculous hotel experience I've ever had to deal with.

I had a late check-in and the young ladies at the counter were very kind and helpful. The hotel and room were clean and attractive. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. There was a wide variety of food options and there were two waffle machines!

We loved our stay here! Service was great, breakfast was delicious, the staff was caring! One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at! There was nothing lacking. We were offered our rewards member services, and more! Everyone was so helpful! We will be back!!!

We had a very clean and large room. The hide a bed sofa was actually comfortable and was already made up with clean sheets and blankets when we arrived.! The breakfast was well stocked and the kids had a great selection of yummy foods that they liked.

We stayed here while we waited to deliver our load the next day. We got the king suite with a jacuzzi tub. It was a great big room with sofa bed n fireplace. Nice size fridge the only thing I could gripe about is the microwave oven was missing out of the room. When the room claimed to have both fridge n microwave oven. The breakfast was basic food items. The bed was comfy n the shower had two shower heads n was a good size shower. It was a nice relaxing stay. Thanks!

I didn't encounter any issues during my stay. Everything was as expected. If there were one thing that I could suggest for improvement I would say that the breakfast area could be expanded to minimize the somewhat awkward line that forms in between the serving counter and the dining tables. This space was a little tight.

I stayed here last week. Nice hotel, not too fancy. The rooms are nice and comfortable. Easy access to the hotel and surrounding areas. The staff was nice. The hotel has good internet. I only wish the refrigerators had freezers in them.

Stayed here while meeting family in SLC for some medical followup. Nice clean hotel with an indoor pool (we didn't use it but it was popular). The room was large and comfortable. The only issue is the water in North Salt Lake is not good. You should bring some bottled water to drink. Breakfast was good.

I stayed here for a conference and the hotel met my needs. Only 15 min. to downtown Salt Lake City Salt Palace. The air conditioner was making a noise and I told them about it and they replaced it. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was good. They had gluten free bread available.

My wife and I decided to stay here on our first trip to Salt Lake City and this hotel was phenomenal. All of the staff members were friendly and helpful. Our room was big and spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and cozy. The water from the shower was actually clean and refreshing. And the sink water actually tasted fresh. What a big difference from most hotels. The hotel is easily accessible from I-15 at Exit 315. And there are a lot of stores and restaurants nearby for added convenience. We will definitely stay here again.

The Hotel was very nice. It looks great and my kids has a blast playing at the pool. Breakfast was nice and there was something that everyone liked. The rooms were nice and clean and we really enjoyed our stay. Our kids didn't want to leave.

The hallway smells horrible! And the room too, needs remodeling bad. Breakfast is ok and the staff is nice.. but the bad smells ruined my stay. The hotel is in a good location close to the Highway but there is some other hotels close by and probably better choices.

I travel a lot for work and spend a lot of time in hotels, Best Western when possible because of my rewards. This was a personal trip and the king suite was big, and as cheap as any room I normally get. I really enjoyed my stay.

I have frequent business in the Salt Lake City area about every 3 months and decided to try the closest BW Plus in the area. The Cotton Tree Inn was just the ticket. Super clean and an excellent breakfast with lots of choices. The room was fantastic with a fireplace and soaker tub and the rate offered to me was great too. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Salt Lake for business or pleasure (indoor pool).

When planning our journey west from Denver, we decided to stay 2 nights in SLC. On arrival we were talking to a local lady and asked for her thoughts on the best sights to see. She considered long and hard before saying..."well, there's the mountains and Temple Square". We saw both from our base at the Best Western Plus, which is a modern chain hotel on the north side of the city, next to a car dealership. The room was comfortable and well fitted. The (included) breakast included choices for everyone. Everything met our needs.

We have been in America for three weeks now and have stayed in a number of Best Western hotels - all better than this one.. The attitude of the receptionist was not particularly friendly and welcoming - the hotel itself somewhat impersonal and sterile. The room was quite comfortable and the bathroom adequate. Breakfast was pretty poor in both content and presentation. The coffee machine had a mind of its own and was certainly not up to the standard of service expected in a Best Western Hotel. The whole breakfast experience was grubby to me and most disappointing - unlike the Driftwood at Idaho Falls where the service was exceptional.

I loved my stay here. I was worried that I wouldn't get the rest I need before a big day. I slept so sound and the bed made it easy to fall asleep. My next day went off with a bang and I thank you for a great nights rest. 2nd the room was so nice and clean. I had no worries except waking up on time. Thank you again for a fabulous stay! We stay at many best western and since each is owner end seperately. They all have some what of a standard , so when there is something different , you remember. This place has the coolest coffee maker in the lobby and eating area. You can have decaf or reg espresso, coffee or whipped coffee. The evening staff when we checked in was great. The room was clean and bed very comfortable. The soap was great.. That spa feel. The breakfast was standard..yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, bagels, fruit , eggs make your own waffles etc..I would stay here again.

There is a reason why I book over 120 room nights at this property every season! Because Jessica DeVore and the entire staff go out of their way to make sure that our teams are taken care of every single time that we visit! The place is always clean, the food is good and the staff never fails to amaze me with how friendly and accommodating they are. They truly do go out of their way to make sure that we're taken care of!

Although the staff were very good they neglected to tell me that there was a large group of young people staying at this hotel for some sort of competition. After over 700 miles of driving I was just looking forward to a good night's sleep as I had another 900 to go the next day. But that was not to be, running and yelling up and down the halls could they not have given me a room in another part of the hotel?? Or at least warned me before I took the room??? Next was the room with a unique stale odor and carpet that needed a shampooing. Plus here was hair from the last guest in the bathtub and on the taps. Nope not up to par and no value for the money, I should have driven on by.

Great location for a Utah ski trip. Area mountains < an hour away and the airport and downtown Salt Lake 10 minutes away. The hotel was clean and organized with a nice pool and hot tube. The included breakfast and coffee was a nice start to the day.

Great prices for what you get. I do wish the room would have been cleaner. I found a half eaten Oreo under the bed as well as a rose petal and some other crumbs and dust. I also found someone else's chapstick under the rolling chair by the desk. Other than that. It was great!

This is a very good Best Western property. Conveniently located just off the freeway with lots of restaurants nearby. They offer clean comfortable rooms with very pleasant public areas. The breakfast offered many great options. The whipped coffee was excellent. Reasonable and offers value for a good rest while traveling.

The Best Western Plus in Bountiful is a convenient, clean and reasonably priced hotel for this area. It is close to SLC and there is plenty of eating and shopping available in Bountiful and northward up to Layton...all within 5-15 minutes. The rooms are fine and the property is in good shape. The breakfast isn't great but it is comparable to any other chain hotel and a bit better than IHG.

I love this hotel. It has reliable, free airport shuttle service and a free breakfast with many options. At most hotels, it's hard finding pillows that don't cramp my neck. This one offers several options, so you're bound to find one that does the trick.

This Best Western Hotel has very nice rooms. Everything was very clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. There was a full breakfast, including hot items. Easy access right off I15. No pet fee. Highly recommend.

There was an electrical fire at our apartment, so we had to stay here a few nights. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and attentive to our needs. They were prompt to assist with any request we had.

Simply could not have asked for better stay and experience. Would highly recommend. Booked last minute, but everything was perfect. One of the most comfortable beds I have ever had at a hotel. Should not have been surprised, because I have often been impressed by BW, but this one was exceptional.

Great staff and very clean. The FREE shuttle service was perfect for those not renting a car as the hotel is about 12 miles away. Great breakfast, 24 hour coffee a real plus and the staff was beyond friendly and helpful. Will stay again.

The service, rooms and general atmosphere of this motel is great. Definitely will be back. The breakfast could include more healthy options but I was looking for a great motel room not a restaurant. Great location near all kinds of options for whatever you need.

Hotel is clean, great location with nice rooms. Have stayed at this hotel a number of times with 2 dogs and always a great experience. Have stayed at several hotels in the Salt Lake area and will only stay at this hotel now. The only thing that would make rooms better would be a microwave in the room.

I travel at least 20 days out of the month, and try to stay at a location/hotel I'm familiar with. Its been about 3 months since I've stayed at this hotel, because I've been trying to stay a little closer inland towards the Orem Utah area. So I decided to stay here once again, because I like to change things around from time to time. The hotel itself and the continental breakfast are still great, but it appears the check-in and check-out personal is new and are having problems knowing what to do. I don't think I'll be back.

I love using my best western rewards, better rooms at better rates. Why not use best western rewards? I use the Best Western Brand hotels constantly throughout my business endeavors from California to Utah to Nevada. I am never disappointed in the presentation and staff commitment to customer satisfaction.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for five days in October of 2017. The General Manager runs a tight ship. Every where was immaculately clean; all the facilities were well maintained; the reception staff were happy and helpful; as were the rest of the staff. We had a small problem that was immediately resolved. Excellent place to stay.

Everything was perfect. The rate. The room. The shower. The Tv. Nice sitting area. Lots of towels. Just great. Staff extremely helpful. Van to take you to nearby restaurants so you didn't have to drink and drive. Could not ask for anything better. Best value on a two week trip.

We enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable and clean. All the staff was friendly and helpful. We did not use the gym but we did use the spa. Water chemistry was off. It was extremely chlorinated..

Stayed here for two separate nights for a RV trip to Grand Teton & Yellowstone. Although the location is a few miles from SLC centre there is no shortage of resturants etc right next door and is only a 10mins bus ride to Temple Square. Very helpful staff. I lost my phone from the hotel to the airport. I called the hotel from the airport and asked them to email me if it was found. It was found it the shuttle bus and was returned to me via UPS. Hotel was busy but clean and tidy, pool and gym looked nice but did not use. Breakfast was great as usual with BW and coffee/tea on tap all day. Great base for driving to the parks up north!

I was so pleased with staff they went out of their way to help us with directions and things to do, the breakfast was delicious and different items each day eggs, bacon, and waffles also yogurt and cereals, pastries etc. The rooms decor was up to date and very beautiful, the comfort of the beds and most of all the location was great. I was able to get to Temple Square within 15 minutes. in downtown, Salt Lake, Utah

We loved the easy-off, easy-on the highway. There was a decent restaurant next door, so we didn't have to drive any more once we checked in. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Considering we were right beside the highway, our room was quiet.

We have stayed at this hotel many times and have always found it clean and comfortable. The hotel is a little dated but well maintained. Our room was clean and comfortable and had a good night sleep. They had a good breakfast. Front desk person at check-out was somewhat robotic.

The Best Western Plus Cotton Tree Inn was clean and quiet, even with two youth soccer teams staying the night. The hotel is average, not a plush BW Plus like I've stayed in before. The breakfast was the typical BW Plus which is just fine with me. I'd stay again.

Stay was nice. Rooms and motel it's self is clean and well kept. Staff is great. Breakfast probably best free motel breakfast I have had. Only complaint, bed was old and way to soft. So soft you sink into bed like it is trying to swallow you!

Very bad experience at a hotel I've stayed at many times before. Did not receive the type of room requested, terrible smell in room, no ironing board or hair dryer. This hotel used to be one of the few choices in the area and was fairly nice, but I don't plan on ever staying there again. Many better options in the Bountiful area now and at similar prices.

I don't really think that Best Western as a cooperation is aware of the state this hotel is in. I think they would remove the plus as well as their name from this business. I have booked rooms before in other hotels but can honestly say that I and my family were appalled to say the least.

This hotel was a great place to stay, the staff always seemed to have a smile on their faces, they were helpful with directions and onsite amenities. This hotel was, distance wise, in the middle between all of the places we wanted to visit so it worked out great for us. There are restaurants, coffee, ice cream and gas stations all within walking distance if you get sick of riding. I definitely plan to stay there on my next visit.

Clean comfortable friendly!!!!! Would recommend a stay here. The area is so beautiful and has a lot of interesting things to see. Try the area as well as the accommodations. The food in the area is also very tasty. Try it you'll like it!!!!!

We stayed here for a soccer tournament with our team. The area is just ok and the outside isn't much but the inside has been remodeled and is nice and clean with spacious rooms. The beds were just ok comfortable. A little too firm for my liking. Service was great. Breakfast was ok. Pool was clean.

A very clean hotel, with helpful staff and nice selection for a tasty breakfast. The lighting in the guest room's bathroom was very poor . The hotel has an easy off and on to the interstate and only about 6 miles from the SLC airport.

We were going to passing through Salt Lake City and saw they had a Best Western Plus, anytime we have a chance to stay at a Best Western Plus we choose them first. Love the Best Western Plus at Kansas City Speedway.

I was very pleased with an overnight stay at this inn located just off Interstate in North SLC. Room was well equipped. Bed comfortable. Quiet (we had requested quiet room because some rooms may face highway). Breakfast exceptionally good.

Overall nice hotel, cleaning service just terrible, my room didn't got clean for all my stay 6 days, when I came to the hotel ask to change linen because found someone's hair on the clean linen. Breakfast are good, location 15 min from downtown. Parking ok. Internet just terrible in the hotel, can't work at all.

We were very pleased with this motel. We will definitely stay Here again when using SLC airport. Helpful checking staff. No problems here. We were not able to eat breakfast because of a 5 am departure. Clean. Easy access. Secure. Very nice facility.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Pool and spa open 24/7 which is nice - you can take advantage of the spa to unwind after driving all day, even with late arrival. Village Inn restaurant within walking distance.

Best Western's CottonTree Inn is ideal for the those traveling into or through Salt Lake City. Very nice and convenient location. Food services less than a 5 minute walk. Plenty of parking and all the amenities agh the hotel you would expect for your money. Close to SLC Intl'. Not a cheap $75 hotel, but reasonably priced for those that are budget-minded like myself.

Great location. Plenty of choices to eat at in the area. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean and everyone enjoyed the breakfast. We will stay here again next time we're in the area. Easy trip to the University.

Stayed here with my son on way to see the Big Eclispse. Friendly staff who did not waste time and make traveling with a 5-year old even more stressful. Place a little dated and needs an update. Bed was not great and sheets and towels real rough.

The staff was very courteous. Make sure you have a shower curtain before you get in the tub! It was not as close to the airport as I had hoped. It was basically in Bountiful more than Salt Lake. It took me about 20 minutes to get to the airport in light traffic. So plan accordingly.

The hotel was clean and very comfortable. What really makes this hotel stand out is a competent friendly staff. From the front desk to the housekeeping, and everywhere in between, they were friendly and helpful. I will certainly stay here again.

Expected more from a BW plus. Breakfast quality poor. Not very appetizing. Cereal dispenser too slow. Room a bit dull. No reasonable restaurants in walking distance. Staff friendly. General interior design dull. More like a regular BW.

Met a dear friend here who moved to another state. We decided to meet in SLC as that was half way for each of us. We wanted to go to Park City and Lagoon; and have a nice place to shop. I can't say enough good things about this Inn. The beds were amazingly comfortable and everything was very clean. Four pillows on each bed! A night light in the bathroom. Opened window in the early morning for fresh air. Breakfast was great, different every morning (we were there five nights and over a weekend). Computers in the lobby with free printing. The staff were polite and willing to go the extra to make us comfortable. I just cannot say enough good things. Oh, and quiet! I could not believe how quiet! *********

A little difficult to get around for handicap - only certain entrances are handicap friendly and that does not include the main entrance. They were very kind in trying to find us a room close to parking and handicap accessible. Beds were very comfortable and room had ample room to maneauver a walker even without being a handicap room.

Such a welcome change from motels I'd been staying at! Even tho friends kept saying "Best Western", I delayed my choice to stay at one. This one in particular was excellent! So glad check in person also suggested joining for perks. The only drawback...no freezer in the oversize mini fridge. Which for those of us who travel with our own food is essential.

We stayed here 7/31/17. Room was clean. Hotel was easy to find. No issues but watch out for the corners of the beds. Several of us in the room had a tendency to smack the bed posts due to the wood bed frames kind of stick out. Breakfast had an excellent selection. Would stay here again if in the area.

While returning from Yellowstone, we booked a night in this hotel by calling the hotel direct the night prior to the needed reservation. Upon arrival, we had no rooms as the person taking the reservation had booked for the night prior. We had a confirmation number and the name of the person who took the reservation, but they were not able to provide the needed two rooms. They did very kindly tell us they would credit our card for the no show they had charged us. Thank you for that! They helped us find rooms for the night elsewhere, bit this was a major fail on Best Western's part.

Very pleasant stay! We were traveling with friends and they were next door. We didn't arrive on time and the rooms were held for us. They were clean and fresh. My husband used the exercise room and was happy with the machines that he used. The personnel were happy and friendly and helpful! Enjoyed our time here very much!

Arrived apx 8 30 PM after long day of driving, windows in hotel hallways were open, window in room was open, no a/c on in room. Took till apx midnight with fan on high and a/c going full blast to cool down room. Also, vending machines on two different floors would not accept $1. Front desk lady said they were 3rd party and sometimes only took quarters. She did give me two bottles of cold water. Never been to a hotel where room window was wide open in 90 degree weather. Very uncomfortable evening. Would never stay here again.

Stopped overnight on our trip. Convenient location, very clean room and friendly staff. Bed frames a bit of a hazard. 3 people in my family stubbed their toe walking past the bed. The frame extends beyond the bed.

Easy access off freeway and close to many restaurants. Salt Lake was booked for the Outdoor Retailers Convention and this was a great option/choice for our associates to stay and not be too far away for our corporate offices in Salt Lake.

Not what I expected. Disappointed and dissatisfied. The entire hotel smells musty. The room felt humid. I was saddened that my 12 year old son had to sleep on the sofa bed which had a horrible mattress. The springs are almost coming through.

A family of 4 all stayed in one room. There was plenty of room and we all hooked in to high speed internet. The staff was amazingly kind and the breakfast was amazing! Love it! The breakfast area was comfortable and the selection of breakfast was so great. I arrived with a back injury and Kelsey (the staff) offered Ibuprofen and went out of her way to help me. I can't say enough about how great our stay was.

Comfortable bed, nice bathroom, good free hotel breakfast, nice staff. Good internet and tv cable provider. Gym is small but good. Hotel shuttle that takes you within 5 miles, useful service. Right off the highway, conveniently located.

My family and I loved our stay. Everything we did was very close and enjoyable. The hotel is large, and has a wonderful atmosphere. There was a little concern about a few items that we weren't sure had been cleaned but nothing worth complaining about. Enjoyable all around!

We stayed in the older section of the hotel. You walk into your room and you can just smell and feel the air change, musty!. The AC blows forever and is loud. The halls don't have AC. The breakfast area was not built for a hotel of this size, very small and crowded. The bathrooms had outdated round and low toilets with old style tubs. The rooms were clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. Next time I would ask for the new section and the check out the room before staying.

Everything about the Cotton Tree Inn was EXCELLENT! From the reception, the room, everything was so clean. The morning breakfast made this visit a wonderful experience and having a washer and dryer on the ground floor was perfect.

We were disappointed with our room and the service. We have stayed here in the past and this time the motel was not as clean as in the past. The carpets were stained, our room had an unusual odor and the air conditioner was very noisy. When reported to the front desk, they did not seem troubled or interested in our displeasure. We will definitely find another place to stay when we visit our family in North Salt Lake.

The motel was nice, the breakfast very nice with many choices for low carb. Our room AC was very noisy, making sleeping difficult when we had to get up at 3 a.m. for a 6 a.m. flight from SLC. Front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful.

Nice priced hotel in a great central location! We loved the 24 hour pool with attached outdoor patio that was great for adults to visit while watching the kids. Breakfast has a nice variety with hot choices that change every morning. We were glad to have a fridge in the room.

Building seems new and is clean. The architect had fun with the layout, so it takes a little while to get your bearings. There's an elevator. The building is built on a slope, and at the front entrance there are stairs; you have to use the back door if you want to utilize the luggage cart. Location is good, parking is ample. Desk clerks were efficient and professional. My room (239) was spacious, well laid out, clean. Sheets were clean. Internet was good. Walls seem thick and the building and rooms seem well insulated, which also keeps noise down. In fact, the parking lot was full but the place was so quiet it seemed deserted. No microwave in the room, but you can use the one in the breakfast area. The water was hot enough, though not piping hot. The thermostat on my AC unit seemed like it might be failing. Overall 4.5/5. Internet 5/5. Value 5/5.

Room was nice, sofa bed was very uncomfortable, We could here everyone around us inside the room.Made for a noisy night. Didn't get the room that was reserved. Didn't have time to correct and move to the correct room.

This a nice place to sleep for the night. The kids had fun in the pool. My husband and I enjoyed the hot tub. The kids loved the French toast sticks for breakfast. Despite finding underwear in our room. We would still stay the night again

With Booking, check-in and out we had no issue - flowed smoothly. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. condition of the hotel was nice and clean, same for our room. we really enjoyed the comfort of the beds. The hotel was in a nice area. we were very happy with how quite it was and that it is a non-smoking facility. we did not use any of the other facilities other then our room.

The front desk personnel is terrible. Niky had the worst attitude. One of our parents was checking in and the gal (Niky) went over the paper to sign and the mom said I don't have my glasses and Niky very rudely let out a big sigh and started saying - you initial here to agree to my paycheck, initial here you aren't smoking etc...

Clean, comfortable, nice variety of complimentary breakfast items including gluten free if you ask, and pet friendly. Tip - book online for the discount. At the front desk as a walk in, I was offered a discount but only if I booked online which I was told I could do from the hotel lobby computer. After driving for 10 hours I only wanted to get to a room. I wish she just could have given me the discount without the hassle of booking myself from the hotel lobby. Seemed a little ridiculous, especially as I'm a Best Western rewards member.

We stayed here after a very long day rafting a few hours away. We were tired and ready for bed. You could hear the wind blowing hard outside, but I don't think there is really anything a hotel can do about that. The hotel was clean and adequate for our needs. Our room door had trouble closing and we reported it upon checkout. They said they would have given us a discount but we booked with Hotels.com, not through them directly. We were not looking for a discount, just letting them know. The breakfast was good and had many options. It was a pleasant lobby.

This was my second visit to this hotel as it is very convenient for an overnight stay on our return from our winter home to Montana. Very welcoming staff with high degree of efficiency and professionalism. Heather Wyatt, Assistant General Manager, was an excellent representative of not only this facility but of the lodging industry as well. My room was convenient, clean and comfortable. This facilities recognition of Best Western Platinum Rewards Members was excellent and much appreciated. Despite being located near major thoroughfares the room was quiet.

We stayed for the night after a long day of driving. Staff was very friendly and quick with our check in. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast was probably the best breakfast we have ever had in a hotel, they actually used real eggs (not powder!)! Would be 5 stars but felt that the room was over priced by about $15 but I would purchase again knowing they this is a quality place to stay.

I am so thankful for the wonderful attitude and willingness of the staff here. We had a situation arise at another hotel and had to check out immediately. We called the Cottontree Inn while leaving the bad hotel and was so thankful that they had a room available and were willing to give a great rate even though it was a last minute stay. We got a great nights sleep and had a good breakfast in the morning. I am so glad we stayed here instead of the other place.

Nice quiet place to spend the night. Clean, with friendly people. Room was nice and roomy. Didn't stay for free breakfast because there was a Kneaders next door. Will stay here again in the future. Well lit parking lot.

We stayed here for 5 days and had a good experience. It was quite at night even though it is close to the freeway. Employees were cordial and helpful. The self serve breakfast was good. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. Clean and quite.

We have stayed at this hotel several times when traveling north and not wanting to get trapped in the SLC rush hour. It has a very accommodating cheerful staff. Mattresses are very good. Only annoying thing is that the hair dryer is in the closet (instead of being in the bathroom) and I have to remember to look there. It's the ONLY BW we've stayed in that stores them there.

I was put up here due to my flight canceling. The staff was great, but my rooms ac/heat wasn't working and had already unpacked. They did bring in a fan to help, but was still warm in the room. Was a clean hotel as well.

We were in SLC for car shopping and this BW provided a really central location for the city proper and dealers to the North, as well as some right next door. The front desk staff are really welcoming, the rooms are large and clean, it's quiet and has a 24-pool which is good because many families apparently stay there too. The breakfast offers a number of choices including hot food which is critical for a good rating. They are also pet friendly - remember to let the front desk know and please use the clean up bags they have near the various entrances. There is a parkway 1-block up the hill and 1-block to the south that provides a good area for exercising (me and my beagle).

Quick stop it was perfect. Girls loved to pool and hot tub. Roll out bed was HORRIBLE. Must try BBQ restaurant for dinner. Breakfast was ok not the best. Room was good size. We would stay here again if in SLC.

I stayed here about 20 years ago. It was a decent place then and nothing has changed. I was coming home from Arizona & decided to give them a try. As you can see from the pictures, it's a pretty good looking room, the place has been well kept up and wifi worked very well. You are North of downtown, but not far from attractions. It's a full service area meaning everything you should need is there. You can walk to several restaurants, I tried and reviewed the Chinese buffet next door. Even Slim's Chevron is still across the street just like it was then.

Check in was a little rough but other than that beds are great even sofa beds, breakfast is awesome, coffee machine is working at all hours, pool is good fitness center is good and breakfast city area is great. great location off freeway and close to Lagoon.

Friendly and helpful.We always stay here.Pool is perfect and breakfast is excellent. The breskfast goes the ectra mile. The shuttle service is a bug plus and the drivers are safe and friendly. Vehicles are clean and roomy.

Great hotel, among the best in its class. The beds remind me of the Westin Hotel "Heavenly Bed" with high quality bedding and four pillows on both beds. The wifi was excellent, Relatively large refrigerator with pocket freezer big enough to refreeze ice packs. Friendly staff. Clean. Our room did not have a microwave, but when I called to ask for one, they brought it right away. I highly recommend this hotel.

We prefer this hotel out of all in the area because of the outstanding service we receive from the employees and the extraordinary attention given to their breakfast presentations. The beds and rooms are always top quality.

Very nice Best Western plus. Staff was friendly, rooms clean enough and my black lab Kispa was welcome. The breakfast was typical, but fueled me up. Love those automatic waffle irons! Tons of parking and easy to pull up to the lobby. The layout was slightly confusing but it was 1 am when I checked in. Would stay again.

This hotel was comfortable the only complaints we had were that the elevator didn't go down to the lobby. We were told to go around the back of the hotel to park. We went in the back door, had to climb a set of stairs with all our luggage and then we could get the elevator to the next floor where our room was. In the morning there was a nice continental breakfast, but the eggs tasted funny like they were from a powdered mix.

A nice BW Plus property, spacious room, good bed, everything as expected. Cheers to them for getting rid of styrofoam in the dining area. The TV was a bit loud, but otherwise okay. The pool and hot tub looked great - wish we would have had time to use them. The layout for lobby and breakfast was slightly different than other hotels, so that was kind of refreshing. Friendly staff.

My biggest complaint with the hotel was it's location. Part of the problem was the way the Salt Lake area does their addresses, which is not their fault, but I found it pretty hard to find. The address listed at some point was 400 N. and coming in from the north we passed a number of 400 N. streets. Then when we got to right area there was road construction and other obstacles to finding it. Thankfully, it was still light or we would have had even more problems. The hotel itself was nice but seemed to be alone in an industrial type area. We were tired from driving all day and wanted somewhere close for dinner but the choices seemed pretty limited. It was quiet and the breakfast was good but I'm really not too sure I would stay here again.

Hotels-Rates.com did not turn over my reservation to Best Western so i was without a room if not for the night manager at Best Western. he fought on my behalf, taking great care of me until we could force Hotels-Rates.com to do the right thing. Hotels-Rates.com refused to give me a refund so if it wasn't for James at Best Western i would have been sleeping in my car after a 13 1/2 hour drive.

This was a nice place to stay. We had a king room as no suites were available but it was nice with Windows that open and a fresh breeze that came through. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

This is a nice hotel ...it is very roomy & had a door separating living area from bedroom... Beds were very comfortable ... The water was not hot for shower,this is my only complaint .. Breakfast was good, have had better at some of the other BW but it wasn't bad!

Great hotel, in a good location if you need to head north from Salt Lake City the next day. Room was really nice, service personnel and front desk were friendly and efficient - breakfast was above average

Was attending a conference in SLC. This hotel was only 10 min or so away. Great location right off the freeway and right next to a Kneaders restaurant. Free breakfast with lots of options. Free internet. Comfy beds and great shower heads in the bathroom. The staff was so kind and great. We forgot dish soap to wash out our babies bottles and they found us some to use. Overall a great experience.

We stayed here for one night during our road trip USA ! And what a Great place to stay!! A Nice big room ,clean ,a big good king size bed clean and silent room and a Great breakfast !! An absolute go if you are staying in the surroudings of salt lake city, city center is 10 minute drive away!!

This is without a doubt one of the best properties I have stayed in. Clean, comfortable, friendly and efficient. It is obvious of the care of the entire staff to keep this property in the shape it is in.

Even though we only stayed here for one night -we were on our way from Jackson, WY to Bryce, UT-, we really enjoyed our stay: excellent rooms, very clean and a comfortable, huge bed. There is a very busy highway nearby, but the hotel seems to be sound proof: we didn't hear any traffic noise at all. Our only minor issue was the faint smell of sewage coming from the bathroom, not sure if this was the case in other rooms as well. Overall, highly recommended.

Great price, perfectly located just minutes from major airport, State Capital, Historical sites, the convention center & downtown shops. Facilities are great! Staff is extremely knowledgeable & friendly. Definately should be considered in the top 5 places to stay that is clean, out of the way & quiet, yet close to everything I want or need and all at a fantastic price. The next time you visit Salt Lake City, consider Best Western Plus CottonTree Inn. You won't regret it. We loved it!

We have stayed here several times and they just seem to keep getting more expensive! I would rate them higher but for the price. They have updated the rooms. What we did not like about the room was the wood frame around the bed! It protrudes out from the mattress and we kept bumping into it every time!!! They would be smart to remove that! Another complaint was the parking lot entrance door where we had to go into to get to our room there were four or five guys at all times standing right at the door smoking!!! NOT NICE!!! They need to designate a smoking area away from the entrance doors!!! The room was very clean. Breakfast was good. Wifi was good.

Going home from a business trip. Very glad we stayed at this hotel. If we wanted to return our car to the rental agency a day early, they would come to get us and bring us back to the hotel and then shuttle us to the airport the next morning. I was full of complaints when we arrived but the young man who checked us in was very understanding and gave us the best discount he could. we also needed directions in the morning and morning staff was very helpful too. the room was great and so was breakfast. I would stay here again.

Hotel was good for the price. It is a basic hotel that seemed clean & decent location from downtown (about a 10 minute drive south). It came with typical breakfast options many mid level hotels offer (cereals, boiled eggs, donuts, waffle machine & coffee).

Have stayed there at this Cotton Tree Inn in North Salt Lake City a number of times and have never yet been disappointed. The hot had a nice hot fresh breakfast and was glad to get a nice stay. The hotel staff was courteous and well groomed.

This was the 4th and last night of our road trip with grandsons ages 9 & 11. Three of the four nights we stayed at a Best Western. The room, a Deluxe Queen, was spacious and comfortable. We were able to get a rollaway cot for one of our grandsons since he had difficulty sleeping with his brother. The room was clean except for the carpeting which was extremely dirty. We discovered this when we used a white towel to wipe up a spilled glass of water. After checking out, I took the dirty towel to the manager and explained to him what happened. I told him that I had NOT cleaned my shoes with it! He was very gracious. He said the carpeting in the rooms is cleaned on a rotating basis, and he would schedule that section of the hotel to have the carpeting cleaned. Regarding the bed linens, we had a duvet with blanket insert which was extremely heavy and hot! It would be nice to have a lightweight blanket available. It was nice to have a pool and fitness center. Also, the breakfast was very nice, including fresh scrambled eggs. So many hotel restaurants serve dried eggs. We also enjoyed the high quality doughnuts and pastries. Thanks to everyone who made our stay enjoyable!

We tend to stay in Best Westerns when possible as they are all a similar quality. We stayed for 2 nights here recently during a stopover on a long road trip. The rooms were clean, spacious and well equipped. Breakfast was included in the cost of the rooms. Although there wasn't a huge choice there was plenty to Eat and it was pleasant. The breakfast was eaten on tables in the lobby which felt strange! Staff was friendly and helpful.

My husband and I were visiting family in Utah and decided to stay the night in SLC to avoid a 3-hour drive to the airport in the early AM. We chose this hotel based on proximity to the airport and the reviews here on Tripadvisor. Checkin was painless with a friendly gentlemen. The rooms were great! The BED WAS AMAZING!! Housekeeping could have paid more attention to the bathroom, but otherwise, we enjoyed the room a lot. The HUGE downside was the group of teenagers and small children, dripping wet, constantly running up and down the halls. No parents seemed to be found and though I understand the hotel can not control all guests, it was so distracting. I actually opened up our door when there was loud banging on the door next to us. The guest answered and these kids realized they were on the wrong floor. I made eyes with the neighboring guest who rolled his eyes and shut the door. It was not just us annoyed by all the traffic. My suggestion would be to stay as far away from the pool as possible. The hotel had a free shuttle to the airport, which was great, other than the painfully awkward silence from the driver and the constant hard braking that made me so grateful for seat belts! All things considered, we would probably stay here again, but definitely away from the noise.

This was a super Best Western in all ways. The staff was great, rooms super clean,exterior and lobby very appealing no smoky smell a great place to stay in Salt Lake City. We highly recommend it as a great place to stay when traveling. It exceeded Best Western Standards.

Best hotel for money spent! Very nice, very clean, beautiful rooms, very quiet, and staff are tremendous helping you with your every need! Pool is awesome and open 24 hours. The hot breakfast is great with all the Breakfast items you would want or like and there were two wonderful staff to help or to get you whatever you needed for breakfast. There is plenty of room for parking and many entrances so you can park right next to a door to make your stay even more enjoyable.

Spent a week at this Best Western. The staff was friendly and helpful and they have a nice breakfast that changed every day. Even though I-15 is right out the front door, road noise was not a problem. I would stay here again when visiting the Salt Lake City area. Rates were less expensive than in SLC.

To get to the front entrance you must climb up steps and there is no handicap access. There is a handicap entrance in the back of the building, but you must have a room card to open the door. The room was clean and spacious and the breakfast was good. Suggestions: This hotel needs to reorganize their breakfast serving line to be more user friendly. Please turn up the AC in the common areas.

I work for Marriott and chose Best Western because on the website they offered a package that included Lagoon tickets. It was my daughters 17th birthday we are not well off by any means so this trip took a couple months planning and saving. The front desk associates were very friendly and helpful , the hotel itself was very clean and nice by my standards. The only problem we had was that they told us the lagoon tickets were not included in the price as the website had said. What was I to do I had already traveled 3 hours so I purchased ( at a discounted price) the tickets for Lagoon. I mentioned the package deal and they said it was for last year but offered no other solution. Had I known the tickets were not included I would have stayed at a Marriott. Again the staff was wonderful and being a front desk clerk myself I did not want to belittle theirs. All in all a great stay but disappointed that there was false advertising on their site.

We found the price to be excellent...the people very nice...good laundry...and centrally located so my brother found us easily. The bed was great and the freebies in the room to be tops. The breakfast selection was also very good and was hot and fresh.

We had a power outage in our neighborhood that wasn't going to be restored until nearly midnight. With the temperatures above 90 degrees during the day my wife and I decided to check in to a local hotel for the night. These guys were very helpful with getting my wife, daughter, and I set up with a comfortable room for the night. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing to stay in the SLC area.

We actually liked this hotel. Clean, large room. Good breakfast (much better than most hotels). Friendly staff. But man did we ever pay through the nose!! Well over $200 for 2 queen beds is just ridiculous for this area. We couldn't find anything else with room so maybe they jacked up the price, but unless you can get a much, much better discount than we did you'll be better off in any of the many other hotels in this area.

24 hour pool & hot tub, large breakfast that changes each day, helpful staff, clean and quiet rooms, great working AC, very central location to food and fun, and a great price! We love this hotel and will be staying here again!

When entering the city, we were skeptical of the location, however the hotel was located near some good restaurants. If we were staying longer than one night, I would have preferred a better location. The staff was excellent.

I made two room reservations before I arrived with no problem. While I was staying at the hotel I called and added one more room for my sister. I was assisted by the night attendant. During my conversation I told him that I needed the reservation for Friday and Saturday. He replied back that he booked the reservation for tonight and tomorrow. I corrected him and said today in Thursday and not Friday. He responded that he had been thinking it was Friday all day. I told him that my sisters family would not be in town until Friday and that they were leaving Thursday evening. I confirmed with him when we were done with the call that the reservation was for Friday and Sat. He confirmed yes and we ended the call. Friday morning the MGR Erik called our room and my wife answered. He stated that no one showed Thursday evening to check into the room she stated that the room was booked for Friday not Thursday. She also stated that I was the one that booked it for my sister and he would need to talk to me. My wife called be over at my moms and told me the situation and I told her that I would call him back later. A half an hour later, Erik called her back and said we are going to charge for the room if he does not hear back from me soon. So here is the ringer, my wife told him that I was at my mom's and she was ready to pass away and that she would have me call him when I could. He stated again that if he did not hear anything soon that he would go ahead and charge for the room and remove the reservation for Friday and Saturday. She called me immediately and told me what he said. I called Erik and told him what happened. Now remember he knew that my mother was ready to pass. He stated that the story did not make since and that he was there at the hotel when I made the reservation. So I asked him if he heard the conversation about what was said about his person thinking it was Friday and not Thursday. He responded no. I asked if he spoke to that person. Again he said no. He stated that is doesn't matter that he would not charge for the room. I then told him that I don't have time to deal with this and that mom is close to passing. I told him that I did not like being accused of making the mistake. He said again that it no longer maters that he would not charge for the night stay. I told him that I had to go and again did not have time to deal with it. My mom past away 20 min later. So I have to tell you that a very stressful situation was amplified by this Manager that could not wait for me to call back. He knew from day one when I booked my reservation that we were there for my mom's passing and Funeral. We drove home from Utah back to Washington. I have to tell you every time I saw a Best Western it reminded me of this scenario and there was many on the way home. This was the worst customer service of my life in any situation. I know that this location is franchised and BW only has so much control over the people that represent Best Western. But I would afraid to have my name associated with this location and this MGR. I sorry to say, I am stuck with remembering this situation and at a horrible time in my life every time I see Best Westerns name or sign. When I tell people this story they are shocked and appalled that someone can be so heartless. This is something that I will never forget. By the way I paid 159.00 a night and this should be a 99.00 hotel. There better hotels with cheaper rates but they were all booked. So i think that's why the price was even higher.

This was the end of our two week vacation. The hotel had all the amenities we were looking for. Breakfast, pool, internet and fitness room. The rooms were quiet and the beds comfortable. Everything was up to par. If I am ever back this way I will certainly stay in this hotel.

The corridors of this property were a maze. The room seemed clean. WiFi was spotty. Breakfast was just ok. Weird egg patties but biscuits and gravy were good. Lots wrong with room: noisy fridge and a.c. unit. Dripping water inside walls when water used (yes we told front desk), closet doors off hinges. On the plus side, we saw no insects. :-)

The rooms were very clean, breakfast was wonderful. There was infused water and cookies in the evening. The pool was very nice and not over chlorinated. The Village Inn next door had good food. The desk clerks at the hotel were very helpful with suggestions and questions. No issues with noise!

The hotel was very clean and presentable. The staff went out of there way to help us with our hotel mixup and the breakfast was pretty good. There was plenty of parking available and lots of baggage carts to use. We stayed on the fourth floor and didn't have any problems getting the elevator it was always available.

As a business traveler I stayed 120 nights last year at Best Western properties. This property has the worse internet conductivity make doing business from your room impossible. Also I was provided breakfast syrup that was far past the expiration date. Could have been a real bad experience should I have not noticed-food poisoning.

We stayed at this hotel on the 1st and last nights of a 2 week out west trip in one of the suites both nights. This hotel is only about a 10 minutes drive from the airport (we flew into SLC). The suite was very nice with all of the amenities, and had been recently remodeled. The only reason for not assigning 5 stars here is that on our last night in the suite, the room was not as clean as during our 1st nights stay (which we had no problems). On the second stay the surfaces/counters had not been wiped down (several sticky spots on dresser and counters). I think they only have a few suites though, so we didn't ask for a new room, we just wiped the surfaces ourselves. That said, everything else was nice, staff was super helpful and friendly, and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good, and location is quiet. I would stay here again, and recommend to others.

Love the location which is near everything, including the airport, Lagoon and downtown and Hill AFB. This hotel is centered in the middle of shopping and good restaurants including the Village Inn Restaurant which is next door to the hotel. But their fantastic customer service is why we will return.

Very nice Best Western. It was my wife's birthday and we were going to the City for the evening and found the Cotton Tree Best Western so quiet, cozy, clean and extremely nice. One of the nicer properties I've stayed on. I've noticed that the Best Westerns are elevating their quality everywhere I travel. I enjoy them and feel they are one of the best bargains for the price. This best western is exceptional and I would stay here again.

The hotel despite being renovated have pleasant staffs, comfortable bed, clean, spacious, and allows u to sleep well, and relax. we were able to recoup after 15 hours of drive.this will be our favorite stop over from now on. i have been to several 4 stars and stars not necessary, its the experience.

Thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay. The room was a good size with a very comfy bed. Decent sized bathroom and the shower had great water pressure which is a huge bonus after a long car ride. Lots of variety for breakfast. Would stay again.

This BW Hotel was in a good location in North Salt Lake City, close to our vacation activities in Salt Lake City, Utah. BW Hotel and their staff provided excellent service and a comfortable place to stay while on our vacation. My wife and I are well pleased with this BW Hotel.

Rooms were very comfortable, in room refrigerator and coffee maker. Loved that the room had lots of lights, a sitting area, desk and a bench for sitting. Beds very comfortable with plenty of pillows. The room did not feel cramped. Breakfast was served at 6 am every day. Lots of variety for breakfast. Employees not only were friendly, but even when working as some task appeared to happy :)

Great service close to highway. Will only stay at Best Western. Rooms very clean and updated. Great breakfast lots of food. Staff was very helpful. I have always stayed at Best Western Hotels and many time at this one in North Salt Lake.

Very clean and many good restaurants nearby. 24 hr pool was nice. Fresh waffles for breakfast yum. I slept nicely but the bed made my BFs back hurt..too soft for him :) I liked the price would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay and everyone was very courteous and friendly. The breakfasts were very good and the servers were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean, and we enjoyed having free WI - FI, which we used quite a bit. I used your exercise room one morning on the treadmill for 30 minutes. We went to the pool and check the spa out. we didn't use it this time, but would on our next visits. I was very impressed with your accommodations and would be interesting in using them again. I heard that there is a rewards program an I would be interested in hearing more about the program.

This hotel did an outstanding job accommodating our group. I travel with school groups and plan tours for school groups several times each year and this hotel is easily in my top 5 for best experiences. The hotel gets how groups work and does everything they can to make sure that everyone has a great experience and gets plenty of rest. The Front Desk staff was the best we've ever had!

What a great place to stay, right off the freeway. Access to stores and dining places all around with in a few short minutes. The pool is always open and the hot tub is amazing. The beds have to be some of the best that I have ever slept on. We were in the room with the deluxe king and it was pretty awesome.

Stayed here on our way to Vegas from Alberta, Canada to celebrate our 20th anniversary. Stayed in the "The honeymoon suite" "Huge suite with a fireplace and jet tub.This hotel is older but they obviously spared no expense to update it. Beautiful, clean and comfortable room. Staff were excellent!

Jessica was very helpful, and she made my stay a pleasure! the pool is open 24 hours, and it is very quiet. I love this area! The breakfast was delicious and very well presented! the drinks were cold!

Very clean and well maintained. Great continental breakfast. My husband and I came here on a whim and arrived in the middle of the night. The staff was very friendly and check in was quick. The exterior of the hotel may not look like much, but the old saying "don't judge a book by it's cover" certainly is true. The interior was nice and clean. The lobby has a cute almost ski lodge feel to it. The bed in the rooms were very comfortable, and the rooms were well maintained. The internet was a tad slow.

Internet was barely usable during peak hours. Rooms were clean but really outdated. Breakfast service was good, well stocked but little variety. Hotel staff was friendly and professional. Location is convenient.

Don't judge this hotel from the exterior. It is a great hotel with a friendly staff. I felt the price to be fair and enjoyed the hot breakfast. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I came on business and stayed at this particular location due to the location of my clients. I would stay here again.

I stayed here so I could take my handicapped son to several medical appointments in Salt Lake City all in one week. There was some kind of convention in downtown SLC, so I chose an area north of Salt Lake as I am very familiar with this area as I lived there for many years a few years back. The hotel has been remodeled beautifully. With all of my fears and anxiety over my sons appointments and the thought of another possible surgery, I needed to rest at the end of a busy appointment day. I felt the room was welcoming, the staff was always vey nice, gave me water when I was asking for change to buy one. We just felt very welcome, it was clean always, and and it was in a very good place near everything I needed. Good breakfast and coffee while I was hurrying each day. I would love to stay there for something that is not as stressful as my sons appointments. Anyone who choses to stay here will NOT be disappointed.

Stayed overnite on trip to purchase car for son. Needed room for 3 adults and 2 pets. Due to your pets policy we only stay at Best Western Motels. We have never been disappointed by the quality of your hotels.

The rooms are comfortable with a nice big bed. Rooms smell fresh and clean. Nothing too elaborate, but everything worked great and very modern and upscale and convenient off the freeway for easy access to my clients. Nice stonework in the lobby.

We were a group of cheerleaders, parents & coaches staying for a cheer competition. The staff was wonderful making our accommodations and working with us when we got there. We did a scavenger hunt in the hotel and front desk staff was wonderful about the girls asking for things and letting them take pictures with him! Rooms are very clean and very nice!!!

This newly renovated motel was beautiful, comfortable, quiet even though it was next to an interstate freeway. It was the best value for the money we've seen in some time and we were surprised and pleased when we first saw the room.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel and found it to be clean, comfortable and well maintained. The service was excellent and the breakfast was delicious with an excellent array of food items. We felt our stay was a great value, particularly since many area hotels did not accept pets.

This location is very convenient for Salt Lake stays, and is especially accessible to the airport and downtown areas while being a ways out of the traffic, etc. The pool is excellent and their continental breakfast is much better than most.

This is an updated BW, clean, comfortable mattresses. Big swimming pool and workout room. Good price. The regular BW breakfast fare with the addition of a coffee maker using instant coffee. It had several choices, but you could still tell it was instant coffee. I've had better coffee at other BW facilities. The eggs were dry and uninteresting. Everything else was ok in the breakfast room. This is a two story facility, but there is an elevator.

I was headed into Salt Lake City, but did not want to stay in the City that night so I stopped short and booked a room here with my points. I was not disappointed with my choice and it worked out great. Coming from the North it was a little hard to figure out just how to get to the hotel. I could see it and knew I needed to make a right on Onion St, but somehow missed it. It would be much easier coming off the Fwy from the South. Everything was as I expected. Well appointed rooms and very quiet. I would certainly recommend this property if you are in the area.

We stay here for every volleyball tournament our daughter's play in. The staff is great to work with, the facilities are comfortable and clean, and the breakfast is great. Very easy to get to and accessible from the freeway.

I have stayed here many times over the past 3 years and have never been disappointed. Always great and helpful staff. The rooms are large and well appointed, and always very clean. The breakfast is good, but could be a little more varied from day to day. It is free, however, so I'm not complaining.

Very nice hotel, clean, comfortable beds, decent hot breakfast. This was our third visit for sports tournaments and they handled the crowd very well. Rooms are bigger than normal, nice bathroom, newer beds with regular size pillows.

Cotton Tree is very nice, clean and comfortable room. I travel a lot and found this close to work and the airport so it made my time in SLC enjoyable. It is only 15 minutes from downtown which is a plus too!

The stay was nice, the hotel was clean and comfortable and conveniently located in a part of town that was easy to arrive near my corporation clients, and the parking was close by the room. The breakfast was good and cleanly presented.

I really like staying at the Cottontree Best Western because the hotel is nice, clean, and rooms are big. Plenty of room and the check out is at 12 so you can sleep in a little. The breakfast is a full breakfast and is great.

We stumbled on to this hotel on our way back to Idaho from Ca. My wife found a very good review of it so we thought we would try it. We are very happy we found it. It is a very well maintained facility with very nice rooms. It is freeway close ( Interstate 15) as well close to a few restaurants. There is a very good breakfast included in the $99 cost as well as very good wi-fi and a large well-equipped room.

The way the staff assists you quickly with any need is amazing. Accommodations are clean and comfortable. Shuttle is excellent and so helpful. Especially if you are not used to heavy traffic like me. Breakfast is great for all ages.

The pool was actually heated and the right temp for a cold February night. Getting to our rooms however was a little odd, the hotel is set up in a bunch of different building and unless you know how they connect, getting around on the inside is a little difficult. If you want to just run around the outside of the building it is a little easier.

Room was clean and comfortable, complimentary breakfast was reasonably good (I liked the eggs/sausage/sheese scramble with tortilla), pool and jacuzzi was clean and open 24 hours. I thought the pool was a couple of degrees too cool and the jacuzzi was a couple of degrees too warm.

Rooms are clean, very presentable and comfortable. Very friendly staff, good internet and really good breakfast, I'm kind of picky with breakfast, I don't like fake stuff or just microwave breakfast but they make sure it's warm and fresh and have different options.

My wife and I were very pleased with the courteous staff and very nice accommodations. The breakfast had all the selections you would desire. The room was very spacious. We were very pleased with everything we experienced at the hotel.

My stay at this hotel was excellent. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was the best I've had at any Best Western. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. I used the shuttle several times to take me to conference classes and the airport. The drivers were courteous and efficient. I would stay here again.

We use Best Western hotels on our travels and once again were not disappointed with our stay. Our stay was really relaxed and our rooms very spacious, with extremely comfortable beds and good quality bedding. There was a complimentary breakfast included which overall was good with quite a good range of hot and cold things on offer. The hotel also had a good sized pool. Laundry facilities were available for hotel guests. Another great asset was the free mini bus available to drive you to local restaurants and come and pick you up.

Location - easy access from the interstate, some restaurants around General Facility - semi modern and clean Room - average, fridge, no microwave, comfortable bed, clean, ac worked fine, windows can be opened for fresh air Bathroom - been recently remodelled, but smallest toilet I have seen. Low quality fixtures but clean and modern. Staff - average, cordial

This hotel is 15 minutes from downtown Salt Lake. Comfortable fair size rooms. Breakfast really average. Very helpful staff offering good recommendation on dining places with a limo option to drive you there and pick you up. Very reasonable priced. Would stay there again.

After almost 400 miles driving, we arrived this hotel, our first feeling is comfortable and relax. The receptionist greeted us with big smile and finished the registration in an efficient way. The room is very clean, bed is comfortable like home. My daughter super like the breakfast, she can try different mixtures by putting tea, milk, honey and others together. Funtime for her.

My 2 night stay at this property was very quiet. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. It has been updated very nicely. As a single female I felt safe in the location. The staff was very nice and helpful. I thought the breakfast was outstanding! My only negative is the pillows were too soft for me and the AC was loud when it came on. I would have to turn the tv sound up and it woke me at night.

This hotel is perfctly placed for all the surrounding attractions, but far enough away from the city centre so as to be not overly busy. The only drawback is finding the entrance because of the road layout. The two gentlemen on reception were friendly, efficient and extremely helpful with very good local knowledge. We had a room on the top floor, which was spacious, clean , well decorated and the bed was very comfortable. As well as the usual amenities, it also had fire, not that you needed it.The breakfast was as you would now expect it to be, hot ,plentiful and well laid out in a good size dining area with plenty of seating, with very helpful and polite staff. The hotel also provides a shuttle service within a five mile area of the hotel, we used this to get us to the rail station, which saved driving into central Salt Lake City and on our return a phone call meant that we were picked up from the station after only a ten minute wait, that is what we call service. With several small restaurants close at hand, it does not come much better than this

I was coming in for an audition at the dance studio in Bountiful. The hotel was exactly as described. I slept well, the bed was comfortable and the staff were great. Breakfast is a plus. The best conveniences was the complimentary shuttle to and from the airport as well as to the dance studio.

Great place for a weekend getaway! Rooms are huge, relaxing, quiet, hot tub was nice oversize room for 2! We live close, but this hotel offers a place to get away and enjoy some time alone to relax. Fireplace in the room, all the romance you need for a great couples retreat...close the the LDS temple in Bountiful too and I would also recommend this for families.

This hotel would have got 5 stars, but having a constant queue of non-guests milling around the halls was uncomfortable. Some of them were sleeping in the hall at 11 at night while their kids were swimming in tbe 24 hour pool in their clothes. More than that, I actually needed to use the laundry and it took much longer than it has at most of the many other hotels and motels I've stayed at this year. The dryer was also very slow, probably due to overuse. A member of staff said these people might be the cleaning staff of the day and night shift. This hotel really needs to get this under control. Having people hanging out on the first floor out of rooms all the time is not fitting of a nice hotel. This place should stop it or charge much less.

I would have given this hotel a 4 or 5 star, except the breakfast experience wasn't good at all. When I first checked in, the guys there were awesome at checking me in quickly and efficiently. Aj was the one who checked me in. The room was excellent, except there was no microwave in the room. I stayed one night, went down in the morning for breakfast. They use fake eggs and don't have much to choose from. There were two breakfast attendants and neither one of them said a single word to any of the guests. I went back down about an hour later to get some milk. I thought I had to turn the lid on the container, and the older attendant said in a rude tone, "You don't have to turn that." and then walked off. Not a single word all morning, and that was the only thing said? No good morning or anything. Breakfast attendants are just as important as front desk and housekeepers. You need to talk to guests.

We were in town for 3 days for my husbands VA appointments. We were given the military discount. The staff was friendly including the breakfast lady. The rooms were clean and the pictures on the website are accurate. The bed was comfortable there were plenty of pillows which were also comfy. The hot tub was actually hot. The breakfast is a full hot breakfast and had different items available each morning, Overall our stay was very satisfactory and I will stay here again.
