Best Western On the Bay Inn & Marina

It was an OK stay for 2 nights before a cruise at this hotel, very nice view but the water pressure in the shower was not very good. The breakfast was an extra $13 per day per person. They do have a restaurant attached to the hotel and was pricey. The pool area was very nice and was enjoyed by the kids.

My car was towed! The check in person did not offer me a parking tag and my car was towed. There were no signs of a to away zone where i parked. Not a very clean room. Not a safe location. Poor staff. Will NEVER stay her again.

The lobby was packed when we arrived, we ended up having some coffee while we waited. Real nice complimentary coffee machine, they have a small convenient shop also. The hotel manager Chris was the only guy behind the desk, after he dealt with some rowdy spring breakers he quickly got us all setup. I was very impressed with the room and service.

The service is measuring stick slow, the room is clean but worn and out of date. We tried to order take out from the attached restaurant, but the phone in the room didn't work. We used our own phone, but the customer service at the restaurant hung up on us, so, being the positive people that we are, we went down in person. The main hostess didn't want to serve us, so another one stepped up and sat us. We waited for 10 minutes for a server to show up at our table, meanwhile, another party was seated beside us and not only weee they offered water and utensils, the server took their order first. Completely unprofessional. If you have a choice, go somewhere else

I booked this as we were staying in Orlando but wanted to experience something different. Hotels in Miami can be expensive. This was the cheapest one with the best reviews so we went with it. The lobby is clean and tidy and the front desk receptionist was helpful and polite. There was a minor error on checkin which was corrected straight away. The corridors to the rooms are a little worn but it wasn't awful. The view out the back was beautiful. We took the bus a few times however the bus didn't run back on a night so we used ‘Lyft'. I think with the money spent on this service we could have stayed in a more central hotel for roughly the same total cost, which I probably would opt to do if I returned. I don't think I would use the bus again at night. And I'd be more selective about where we changed busses. The room was really spacious which was great for a family of 5. We didn't eat at the restaurant so can't comment on that.

older hotel in good condition in a great location. excellent restaurant on site with live music when the weather permits. A favorite stay of mine. we had a balcony room overlooking the bay. a tranquil setting to enjoy the water.

We really liked this hotel. It had a cool seventies retro vibe, but was well maintained and comfortable. Every single person we came across from several front desk clerks, the breakfast server and the maid were all very friendly and helpful.

Hotel room wasn't anything special, but it was clean. Enjoyed having a Bar Restaurant on site. The music was really loud in the restaurant - we had to almost scream to the bartender and there was hardly anyone at the bar/restaurant. Service was good and friendly.

It was a great place and a beautiful view and great people they helped with everything we needed help with and was very good at giving information on what there was to do around the area. I will stay there again.

We had a 4th floor room with a balcony, overlooking the water and the patio seating of the restaurant on the 1st floor. We had fish tacos there for lunch and found them to be quite tasty. Our room was tidy but had a musty odor. The lighting as fairly dim and the shower inoperable. The night of our stay we had trouble getting to sleep, as the noise from the restaurant/sports bar was loud and constant. We recommend this property be avoided as it definitely does not come even close to what we expected from a Best Western property!

Pros: 1. great location-not directly on the beach, but a short drive. 2. Spectacular view of Biscayne Bay-balcony was an added bonus. 3. Comfortable beds. 4. The restaurant behind the hotel is great. 5. Friendly staff. Cons: 1. Very little coverage in the parking lot and the hotel in case of rain (which is a common occurrence in Miami). No overhang to drive under to check in, and the covered parking spots were taken (many by employees of the restaurant). 2. No directions were given at check-in on how to locate the room or even the elevators- a printed map of the hotel would be helpful. 3. Couldn't get the shower to work- the lever you pull up to turn the shower head on was jammed. 4. The provided shampoo and conditioner bottles were empty. 5. Couldn't get a cup of coffee with cream in the morning- the machine wasn't dispensing cream or milk and the front desk guy didn't know how to work it. 6. Not so much as a water fountain or pitcher of water for guests in the lobby. 7. We were there during a bad storm, so the restaurant and bar weren't too busy, but during good weather a room right above the restaurant would be very loud.

Though the hotel is a little dated, it was clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything in the room worked. My only complaint if you're trying to go to sleep early the bar music is quite loud.

I only stay at BW when traveling and this hotel stay was disappointing. Although the front desk staff was welcoming and the room was clean, I was dis appointed in the layout of the hotel. I was placed in a building that has a parking lit under it and a public bar restaurant in close proximity to the elevator. Being a single woman traveling alone, I did not feel safe parking my car and making my way to the elevator and up to my room at night. The other disappointment was that this particular hotel did not offer the traditional free breakfast that is available at every other BW hotel I have stayed at. Instead, I was referred to the bar/restaurant attached to the hotel for a $13 breakfast buffet. A nominal fee, but I did not like the way the restaurant looked or smelled so I did not feel compelled to eat there. The coffee in the room was horrible, but you could get coffee in the lobby. I understand the East wind of the hotel is being renovated. My suggestion would be to request a room in that wing when it is finished. This way you would enter through the main lobby and are away from the shady parking lot. I did not use the pool area, but it looked nice, clean and inviting. The location of this hotel is very good. It is close to the beach and downtown area and the view of the bay area is very nice. There is a $15 fee to parking in the hotel dismal parking lot.

The staff was so nice! Front desk service amazing and Carla at the Suckers roof top was awesome! Gloria the manager has the best customer service ever! Great stay, incredible view. Beds were very clean and the rooms very comfortable, island vibes.

The breakfast was the best ! Also the breakfast lady was very kind and helpful, I loved my experience, the rooms were nice and clean as well. What I do think is that they should put someone in the pool area because the first time I arrived I went to the pool with my family and there was a couple that were very drunk and smoking weed and the lady was naked showing her boobs and the other gentleman was in boxers and he was showing everything. I had my 2 kids with me and to be that was unacceptable but everything else was good

Great waterfront location with active restaurant and bar. Small pool with great view but worn out lounge chairs. Our room was clean but not detailed, filthy tv remote, hair in tub, dirty ashtray on balcony, lots of little things. Terrible communication concerning late check out. For a $100 room they have charged $40 for a 1.5 hour late departure. I do not recommend and I will not return.

We come to this Hotel, every summer since 2016 , except Covid time. This is THE place to stay in Miami , very calm environment, very close to the beach 10 minutes by car , 30 minutes from the Airport. The pool is cool, training center, coffee machine 24/ hours at the desk , fresh beverages, .The team of the Hotel is very pleasant, listening to the customers. For sure we will be back . The pictures look nice, however, this is very misleading. The rooms are OK in terms of beds and cleanliness, however, the aircon was so old and noisy that I could not sleep till 3 am. The hotel itself is very old, dirty and outdated. The view from the balcony was nice BUT please don't be misled by the pictures - it is not direct access to the Miami beach - the balcony is just overviewing the ocean bay, not the beach itself! The breakfast was horrible - the coffee is weak, the eggs are cold, the bacon is overfired and tasteless, potatoes looked like they were unfrozen and cooked again... It is not a cheap hotel - $200 per night, so if you want to enjoy your stay in Miami - stay away from this place.

This location is all about the Bay Views which are stunning! The only rooms worthwhile in my opinion is to select the ones with the balcony and bay view. There is nothing like relaxing on the balcony and seeing the spectacular bay view early in the morning and stunning sunsets and sparkling lights reflecting on the water in the evening. Some people complain about the noise from Shuckers restaurant just below however the noise level was not that bad and did not bother us at all perhaps because it was off season. Overall rooms were clean and staff friendly. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend. Only negative would be that the hotel could definitely use updating, if they did that, this location would be a goldmine.

We have stayed at this hotel several times, & loved it. However, this time the parking pass that we were given fell from the rear view mirror, but was still visible from the passenger side window. Our car was towed! A full morning lost, $15 Uber ride & $180 to retrieve the car! When we went to pick up the car we had to wait 30 minutes in a VERY undesirable area for the company to open ( they open at 8:00 AM, yet it was 9:45 before anyone got there). Good thing it wasn't a Sunday, because they are CLOSED! When we returned to the hotel, 2 ladies came into the office…same EXACT scenario! We both called the police! The 3 officers that came were very nice, & wrote a report. All we got from the management was “Sorry, but you should have your parking pass displayed on the dash or hanging from the rear view mirror!” The story we got from the towing company is that the HOTEL calls them to pick up cars. The story from the hotel is the towing company checks the area. However, with as many signs as we saw throughout the area with Overall Towing on the sign I don't see how they can check them all without someone at the different locations in their pockets! Although I don't normally write reviews, I feel compelled to warn you about this motel. In truth, the motel is incredibly dirty and is nothing like the photographs. There are bugs all throughout, a broken outlet, and loose fans. all throughout the motel have an odd smell. No place to even move in the extremely little bathroom. Kids everywhere go neglected and were roaming around in the hotel. Staffing shortages which leads to unclean bedsheets with stains .Poor lighting the staff were impolite when asked simple inquiries about our stay.

Every time I go to Miami I stay in the hotel (business/vacation. Quiet and nice, great staff and the convenience of the restaurant. I bring my family and they also enjoy the hotel and the amenities. The view of the bay is spectacular.

The staff had little to no training and was extremely rude even for small requests. It was clear they were unhappy, working there and would not appease customers no matter how much money we spent and how long we stayed. I've stayed at many hotels during my lifetime, and this was by far the worst. Save your funds and book elsewhere even if it's a couple bucks more.

Ah! Stella Marina, in case you didn't know Stella Marina is my favorite restaurant in Asbury Park. Please read on, and I guarantee you will know why. Lets get started OK? I have been vacationing in Asbury since 2019. I stay at the delightful, Empress Hotel across the street from Stella. The Empress like Stella is a jewel in the crown. I arrived on Friday last week at 1:00 pm. Was up really early so I thought that lunch would be just what the doctor ordered. It certainly was a fabulous crisp chardonnay with a Caesar salad with salmon. Out of this world good. Sat at the bar, and the ever amazing Kirsten was in attendance. Just too hot for outside. 90 degrees I made the proper decision. At about 3 I left and went to my room. Took a much deserved nap, and returned to the scene of the crime (Stella) actually I meant to say meal, but it was cute. Had a glass of chardonnay, and perused the menu. Marisa suggested the clams in butter, bacon and wine and garlic. Wow! Used that delicious bread to absorb all the liquid gold on my dinner plate. Started chatting with another patron and had a delightful conversation. Had a grand Marnier on the rocks, and called it a night at about 9. Unfortunately Saturday was a weather dud, but that's ok. Did some reading etc. At 6:30 left for Stella and the bar was packed. I actually had made a reservation for 7, but decide to give the table up. Why take a table when I can go to the bar. Well ,the dynamic duo was at the bar. In case you are wondering who they are. It would be Kirsten, and the ever capable Marisa. They both are a well oiled machine, and a force to be reckoned with. A seat at the bar finally opened up at the end of the bar where the servers give their drink orders for the dinner crowd. No surprise the place was packed. Well I have a new found respect for the dynamic duo, they truly can stand and deliver. Never upset, just polite, and self assured capable women. The pace that they are at and all the multitasking that they do. Dinner started with clams in wine, butter, and garlic. Caesar salad with grilled shrimp, and strawberries with zabaglione. Oh a grand marnier on the rocks please. Just superb and satisfying.

If you are there just to wait for a late flight or taking a cruise, ther are no stores,shops,or local attractions. You are on a bay, away from everything. Restaurant is pub style and crowded with locals.

My husband and I just stayed here for one night before heading out for a cruise. The outside looks inviting and the lobby is very nice. The front desk clerk welcomed us and got us our key quickly. He was a nice guy and I appreciate it. The room was adequate for a one night stay. We had a king bed and the room was clean. I was a little concerned about the door and safety. The area we drove through to get there was not great.

Wonderful staff, A special thank you to the girls at the front desk!! You girls were great, thank you for taking care of us and your friendliness!! Overall experience was great, room was clean, bed was comfortable and for people that are a bit older the comfort height toilet was also a nice touch compared to most hotels that have the short toilets that you almost have to fall down to! Great job Best Western. Great fridge and microwave in our room. Excellent TV and excellent WIFI!

Short story: Very dirty high-touch surfaces, baby spiders and ants all night, hotel doesn't seem to care Long story: Upon entering the room, we saw that the light switches were clearly very dirty, especially in the bathroom. I cleaned all the high-touch surfaces and table tops with Lysol wipes myself. Many hotels are making the effort to have improved cleaning practices (ex. posting notices to advise guests that high-touch surfaces have been cleaned, covering tv remote control with plastic bag) but this hotel doesn't seem to bother. We stayed in a room on the top floor. In the evening, we kept seeing little spiders crawling on the table. We finally noticed them coming out from underneath the coffee machine tray (which I had not cleaned nor lifted up, since we were not using). We also noticed the wall full of ants (not noticeable during the day). Perhaps, there would not be any spider problem if there was proper cleaning. The front desk staff told me there was no ant problem in the building and confirmed that they do have pest control. He offered another room but it was already past 2am, we were going to check-out the next morning, and I did not want to clean another room. The next morning's front desk staff told me that there were no notes left by the night staff about our problems. He was also not aware of the sink clogging when I reported it. No one ever asked us for details about the ants. Wouldn't pest control want some information? Wouldn't the hotel want to know where we saw the ants? There was even a staff member who came by to give me extra towels that night but didn't bother looking at the insects. Our friend who lives in Miami also advised us that the patio to the hotel restaurant has collapsed in the past. This is an old building and pests could be expected but I have stayed at other old hotels with no problems. Our hotel room looked to be in bad condition. Don't believe the photos you see online! This hotel doesn't seem to bother with good maintenance/cleaning.

We chose this hotel since it was only 1 mile from our family that lives in NBV. We stayed in room 561 which is above the on-site bar restaurant Shuckers. The stairwell & elevator to our floor is open to the outdoors so anyone visiting the restaurant or parking lot has access to the hotel & pool - no security in place. My child and and we're approached by a few drunk men while waiting for the elevator, the stairway was not an option since people were sitting in the stairwells smoking and partying. Also, the hallways were littered with trash. The police were called during our stay due to a huge fight in the restaurant, the police remained in the parking lot for more than an hour after the incident. The room was okay. The water pressure was low and would turn cold during a quick shower. We had to ask the front desk of trash can liners, clean towels & coffee pods for the hotel coffee maker in the room BUT we could not call the front desk since the room's phone did not work … yes we checked all the wires. Furthermore, the room is listed as nonsmoking but had ashtrays in it. The people in room 562 smoked weed during our whole stay which drifted into our room. My child kept asking about that bad smell. When I talked to the front desk about our safety concern waiting for the elevator in the evening, the person at the desk just shrugged his shoulders. For us, this is NOT a family friendly or safe hotel.

The key to the door never worked, I had to go down to the concierge every time. Would go back to the room key wouldn't work had to go back down. It was a hassle and an inconvenience. The plugs in the room were not functioning

Stayed for just one night and glad it was just that I am a Best Western employee and the customer service I received was terrible and not what is expected within the BW brand standards Rushed checked in no conversation just robotic and plain rude!! Also no eye contact or friendliness from any staff for that matter Wouldn't stay here again if it was free. You also have staff all over the complex smoking and just messing on phones very unprofessional. Rooms and hotel itself needs a facelift very tired and I felt depressed just staying the evening Only thing going for it is the views of the bay Didn't eat here didn't even know it had a restaurant wasn't even told about it on check in either just given keys and told where to go Top tip - avoid!!!

Okay place,but the money you pay it should be more offer...I seen other places with alot more and the cost was cheaper, but since I use Best Western other I have gone and had a great time , this was okay, but the buffet was bad!! Verse the other Best Western I been too... Save your money it not worth it

The only nice thing about this hotel is the view from the swimming pool. We checked into this hotel on the 20th thru the 23rd. The girl at the front desk was not at all friendly & told us that we would not be receiving any housekeeping service the next day but gave no explanation as to why. The front lobby smells very old & musky. The rooms are extremely outdate & in dire need of a facelift. Don't expect the usual free breakfast from Best Western at this hotel. It cost 16us dollars per person. The parking is also 10 per day. This is the first time I have ever had to pay for parking at a Best Western property which I think is crazy being that you are paying to stay at THEIR hotel. There is a restaurant next to the hotel called shuckers which has a nice patio & ok food. The drinks are expensive. There isn't many restaurants in walking distance from this hotel .We went into the gift shop at the hotel to buy some water for the room & the lady working there was talking on her phone the whole time we were there & did not put it down to serve us. Best Western needs to train their employees on customer service.(TOTALLY RUDE). I would not recommend this hotel!!!

The property is close to Pelican Bay Harbor where I was previewing a yacht for purchase. Upon arrival I checked in and proceeded through fallen palm fronds to my room which on opening the door had a heavy smell of a commercial air freshener. The room was very date and I proceeded to open the patio door to air the room out. While it was airing out I went to the waterside bar and restaurant which the front entrance passes the garbage bins and the service entrance. The restaurant and property have a very tired 1970's decor but the bar and restaurant were acceptable. After my dinner I returned to the room for the evening. I woke up in the middle of the night to the terrible smell of someone having thrown up and it was still under the bed, as it was missed in cleaning up. The next morning before my all day inspection of yachts I told the front desk clerk. When I returned my room had not been changed nor cleaned. It was 11 pm at night and I was told changing rooms was not possible. The next morning I notified the manager of my dissatisfaction and on check out was given a $50 credit against a $200 plus nightly room rate. Needless to say I won't return and would recommend others to seek different accommodations.

Unlike all my the other stays in a Best Western, in the United States and overseas, breakfast at Best Western on the Bay is an expensive option. The parking fee was not disclosed on my confirmation email, nor on the website. These extra costs should be disclosed as a good business practice. Nobody likes finding out there are extra costs after it is too late. If I had known that the normal, expected breakfast is not included, I would not have stayed there. I feel I was tricked into staying.

We selected this hotel because of its location. We wanted to explore South Beach and also go to the Miami open tennis tournament north on route 95. So we thought this would give us a location that would satisfy both of those experiences. It did. We did not expect such great views of the Bay, such excellent service or such an all-around positive experience. While indeed it is your basic hotel, appropriately retro in South Florida, with none of the bells and whistles of an upscale hotel, it was a very positive and enjoyable four days. The deck restaurant on the Bay is packed but the Hotel seems very attentive to the guests' needs and makes sure the music ends by 9 PM. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony listening to the music but we were grateful when the time came for it to end. Thank you to all who made our mini vacation delightful. Special shout out to service in reception and check out, breakfast greeter, and restaurant hostess .

Unfortunately most of the reviews here do not reflect the reality. This establishment is in dire need of some TLC. Overall, the location due to the closeness to the bay looks scenic, but it is also very noisy due to the proximity to the 6 lane road and partygoers from the nearby bar. The room we had is really in need of refurbishments, it was smelly and just shabby, see pics. There were people partying in the parking lot in the middle of the night, reception didnt care even though we called them. They advertise free coffee, but when i asked for it, the receptionist told me that they once had a coffee machine but it broke and that's it. The pool is only usable if you are deaf or dont mind the noise from the huge AC system they put up next to the pool.

This was our first stay at this hotel, chose it based on good reviews and nice photos of the pool area and the location which wasn't too far from my mom's house in Miami. So the good parts are the location which is in North Bay Village right by the water, very scenic. We got a balcony room which looked down onto the parking lot but still had a partial view of the water and I could see boats on the bay. It's located in a central location about 10 minutes drive from Miami Beach (a quieter northern part of Miami Beach so not so wild and crazy like South Beach) and a few minutes drive into the mainland. There is a Shuckers restaurant on site which we didn't use, there's also some more little restaurants nearby like a Mexican taco place and a pizza place, and a few minutes drive away there is a Presidente supermarket. So the location is good on the 79th Street Causeway you could go either way to the beach or to the mainland area. The pool area looked really nice in the pictures, but we didn't even use it when we were there so I can't give a review of the pool. When I looked at it sometimes there were a few people and sometimes it was empty, but never super crowded even though we traveled during March Break. The lobby is nice and clean, they have a well stocked gift shop with all kinds of snacks, drinks, and souvenirs and a friendly cashier lady. Now the room was nothing special and rather dated. There is a safe with a lock and key (instead of digital) but it was big enough to fit an iPad and lots of other stuff. There were some stains on the sheets and comforter. The pillows were old and rather flat. There was one wardrobe and plenty of drawer space, also had a microwave and a large mini fridge. We were disappointed that on our second day there (Sunday) we never got housekeeping even though the maids were walking around for some reason they never cleaned our room, but they did the next day. The Wi-Fi is very fast which was great. The walls were very thin and from the bathroom I could clearly hear the conversations of the people next door. Thankfully they left for the night because if they had been partying in their room all night that would have been a nightmare. I mentioned the balcony looked down on the parking lot and that parking lot is also used by people coming and going from party boats so it could get pretty noisy and busy but fortunately it eventually passed and didn't last all night so we were able to sleep alright. On the balcony you could smell weed from people smoking on balconies, and one night we came in and could smell it in our room near the balcony door even though it was closed, fortunately it passed. We did travel during March Break so it was probably a partying crowd and more busy than usual. The parking is $10 a day. Another thing is the elevator safety inspection certificate said it expired last year so that made us a little nervous lol as it's an older elevator but nothing ever happened thankfully and it worked fine.

Every year my husband and I return to celebrate our wedding anniversary where we stayed. and also my birthday is same day. we love staying at the Bestwestern on the Bay & Marina. Wehighly reccomend stay here.

Staff unfriendly. Not helpful. Rooms strange smell, bed is fine. View terrible. Location is good. Restaurant beware what you eat. Bad hygiene. Absolutely too expensive. For a 90 dollar per room hotel is oke. Spend no more than that we advice

This hotel is great. Location and rates are great for Miami prices. It is clean and the staff is really friendly. I have to travel to Miami often and have stayed in different places but this one beats them all. Great place.

Loud music from the club in back. We were near the front and it was still loud! It went on until midnight. I can't imagine being inside of the club. I don't know how anyone gave a positive review unless this is a recent change. We were only here because it is close to the airport and we had an early flight. Ironic. What a rediculous experience! I would not recommend it to anyone.

This was the best hotel I've stared at. The hotel exceeded all my expectations the room was fantastic very clean and quite. Had a mini fridge and microwave and coffee maker and if you don't feel like making coffee the have free coffee in the lobby.

So we booked a full bay view room with balcony, sounds great, but they dont tell you about the very loud bar inches below that plays loud music to the early hours and has lots and lots of shouty people that pretend to be drunk after sniffing a beer mat, and they only get louder as the night goes on. then there was no hot water, I managed to get a night knocked off my bill but i recon they should have paid me to stay there.

The location is nice for the price. It's on the bay but close enough to get to the beaches. The neighborhood is good here and east, west it's not as good but just driving through was ok. The hotel was great and the restaurant /bar next door was a great place to relax. We would stay here again.

Loved the hotel. The view from the bacony is the best. I would request it. My kids spent hours just chilling there! Staff was helpful. The live music was great from the restaurant. Food is great too. I will return

our room is full of dust and it creates breathing problem. i don't recommend this hotel to any one. the rooms are facing main road. you can neither open the wind screen. Too much noisy and police was always in the parking lot.

We were placed in the four story building above the restaurant and the room was clean and functional for a two night stay, but not for a longer stay. The low rise older building has balconies and better views of the bay. Walking distance to restaurants and supermarket and a short drive to beach and Biscayne Blvd. There is a grab and go breakfast. Helpful front desk clerk.

I booked for 3 nights but once I got there the hotel was not look alike as it is advertising. The lobby smelly, restaurant was closed , no beach assess, elevator was broken, it is a motel not a hotel. They will charge you no matter what. Do not stay here this place doesn't look as it advertising

Great location. The hotel and rooms are clean, and it has a beautiful view of the bay. The staff is friendly and helpful with everything you may need. The breakfast area is really nice (with view of the bay as well) and the food was great.

Old and dated property. Dirty green striped carpets, over whelming musky smell in room. No water for Diamond status, balcony room facing parking lot not worth the extra $$. Pool area nice, comfortable bed and super cold AC. Lobby area is very nice!

Nice hotel on the bay with a nice restaurant and bar with entertainment nightly. Food was good and hotel rooms were nice. Value was very good over all. Pool was very nice and refreshing too. Would stay here again.

Efficient though not entirely friendly staff, but they did their job. The lobby is nice and airy and spacious. We were working so we didn't use the pool area, but it seemed to come alive at night because of the waterfront restaurant next door. Lots of folks sitting outside to catch the midsummer breeze from the bay. Keep in mind there's live music at the restaurant which starts around dinner time, so this isn't the hotel to choose if you like peace and quiet. The A/C worked really well and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is WALKING distance to some fantastic restaurants on this island, so you don't need to go far at all. We were very pleased with that!

Horrible experience when I first checked in I go and view the room wasn't satisfied with the room go back to the front desk to ask the representative to switch my rooms the representative told me that they were sold out due to the rolling loud concert so I have had to stay in the room that I was in very disappointing when I went to the room it was rust around the door tub didn't drain properly the sliding door was stuck and the AC was not working

We were extremely pleased with our stay at this hotel on our way to the lower keys in Florida. The room was very nice and spacious, and we loved having the balcony to sit out on during the evening and morning. You can't beat the value for the price paid at this hotel!

I stayed at the Best Western on the bay during June. The location is amazing and there are busses you can take just right in front of the hotel. They take you to downtown or Miami Beach. The location is perfect and with a stunning view of the bay. You can spot iguanas too. It is like 7 minutes from the beach and the staff is friendly and really helpful. Each time I needed something they'd come right away to my room. They have a swimming pool, gym and on site restaurant. I definitely recommend this place and I'll be staying again when I'm in Miami

I thought the room would be a little more updated but over all it was clean, had central air, had view of the bay, a balcony, fridge and microwave which seem to be luxury amenities on south beach these days. So I consider all of that a good value for the price. And you're still about 2 miles from the beach. And the pool was very nice. Good restaurants in walking distance. I'd stay here again.

But other than not getting my room cleaned everything else was beautiful ... there was an older gentleman in the front desk that they had no more rooms available for the wk but that same day I got a room for 5 days from the evening staff I felt that I was Discriminated

Great location --- away from chaos of South Beach but close enough to drive. Also not a bad drive from/to the airport. Nice view overlooking the bay -- great sunsets. Property a bit dated but room was clean---my primary concern. Easy parking but not free. Good value for this area --- remember -- it's Miami Beach! Located on a busy road if traffic noise is a concern. Grab & go breakfast was sufficient but nothing special.

We booked a last minute, same day rate as our Air BNB was a disaster. Was provided a king room with a balcony. The room was closer to the road, so a bit loud with traffic noise, but honestly, we were so exhausted every night, it was nothing that kept us up. We tried the onsite restaurant, food was mediocre for what you pay and a rude/overwhelmed wait staff made the only negative experience for our entire stay. We kept busy exploring the city and the location of the hotel was a good 'mid point' for everything we wanted to do in the city and on the beach. The pool looked clean and many people were enjoying it during our stay, however we did not get any pool time ourselves due to our schedule. Staff was very friendly and fast for check in and check out. Breakfast bag was lacking a bit, but we just went down the street to the Columbian bakery for a good cup of coffee and a roll. Overall, would stay at this hotel again!

We booked this hotel literally minutes before checking in due to having an absolutely horrifying check in process at a neighboring hotel.. the front desk gentleman was very friendly and was able to check us in in minutes. The hotel could use an update on the outside but the inside was clean and very comfortable. We did smell marijuana throughout the parking lot and some of the halls, but I think that was just one specific inconsiderate guest. The bathroom space was very small but We loved the balcony feature and even had a partial view of the bay which was an unexpected surprise. This area of Miami was a bit far to all of the main areas but it was worth it because it was relatively quiet after 9 pm. However this means dining and other entertainment options at this time are limited. We were very thankful that this hotel was able to accommodate us after our terrible experience at a hotel across the street.

Horrible hotel, it is 3 in the morning and I'm writing this review because there is no way you can sleep with all the noise and the nasty bed sheets. Everything is dirty and old. We were going to stay 2 nights but canceled the second night because we knew it was bad. I can't wait lo leave this place, if you like clean and to be able to sleep in peace then keep looking. This hotel is a big NO!

Older hotel with smaller size room than more modern layouts. King size bed did not fit well with the amount of other furniture in the room. Large TV / bureau / refrigerator unit at end of the bed left very little room between the bed and the TV unit. Very small bathroom.

Cute Best Western with great rooms, amazing views, super nice staff, great lobby! 10/10 The room was great and spacious, neat bathroom, amazing views over the bay and the restaurant on site is great and has a good value (and view) as well. I woke up with hives all over my body. The staff was rude when I told them. The room was dirty. It gave me motel vibes. It was horrible. I'll never stay here again. I absolutely hated it. It did not look like the pictures what so ever.

Hotel was average when considering your paying approximately $250 a night. The hotel staff and lobby were nice. The hotel room was below average - clean and neat - but the room overlooked the parking lot. The room itself was dark relating to interior furnishings. No privacy on bathroom sink area - though the shower/toilet area had a door.

First of all it took 7 hours to get checked in and the staff totally over looked me when I got into my room for a shower the tube drained very slowly and the toilet ran all night and finally I was there for 4 days and they did not come and clean the room once or provide fresh towels

Ive been here multiple times recently and It's always a delightful experience staying and interacting with the staff here. Be kind and courteous and you will get more than that in return. I will be returning, chant wait.

The lobby is super nice, but they want you to fall in love with it and think that is a nice hotel, but the rooms are disgusting and old. No worth the money. Highly priced. Don't recommend it to anyone.

Where do I start? I paid almost $300 for 1 room 1 night new years eve at this property. Besides the property being a little out dated we couldn't settle in upon arrival due to the room being dirty.i took pictures of other peoples long hairs rolled up into the towels, the balcony glass sliding doors where sooo dirty with fingerprints & stains like they never wiped it down obstructing our beautiful view of the whole bay. So we had to patiently wait for housekeeping (which was a very nice lady) to come & fix it. However, after appearing NOT to have windex (she only had a YELLOW spray liquid & a towel) & 10 minutes later the windows to the balcony where still dirty looking & I don't know if we recieved "Fresh" towels because once I recieved the 2 replacement towels folded up, once opened, I still found someone else's long hairs in both towels. Almost felt like they just took the original hairy towels, unrolled them & just folded them back up to appear like they were different because how could so many towels have long women's hair on all of them. I highly doubt because of that the room was even disinfected/ sanitized (due to covid). I sprayed the whole room with alcohol & lysol just to be sure being they couldn't get it right when it comes to cleanliness. So basically the $300 for the 1 night really was just for the view from the 5th floor which was amazing to watch all the fireworks from what felt like a 360° view of the city & the beaches at the same time. The view from the balcony was what made it worth it. Speaking of the balcony, the railings were flimsy & moving when we leaned on it so we got nervous. & the balconies are soo close to each other that someone could stick their head out & see into your balcony & room! U could jump into someone else's room if you were brave enough to deal with the flimsy railing. Besides that the bed was comfy- no hairs there. Lol. & we still had fun. Beautiful view from the 5th floor!

Had to pay for parking everyday I stayed. I've never had to that before. Rooms where kind of small. Ice Machine was Broke had to walk to lobby which is not close to my building. The view was pretty and the pool was clean.

Do not stay here on a Wednesday night. They start power washing around midnight for one hour and I could hear it on the fifth floor. I could not sleep because of it. The front desk was no help at all.

We visited Miami for 5 days and were very happy with this hotel, very well located, clean rooms, nice view, nice staff. Also the restaurant had ok food and nice views. Would recommend and visit again next time!

Hotel was in a peaceful area. The environment was calm and the hotel staff were very courteous and friendly. The room was fantastic. All amenities were available. I enjoyed the fitness room which is located in the lobby area and the gift shop. Had an ocean view room the view was awesome.

I had booked a standard room with sea view. They gave me a nice room on the 3rd floor with a huge balcony and panoramic view of the bay! That view is one of the best memories of my whole life. Pool was big and clean. The receptionists very friendly. The Shuckers restaurant cocktail bar was a big plus. I definitely recommend both hotel and restaurant.

This hotel is awesome!!! You cannot beat the location and the staff is the finest you will find at any hotel in Miami. Krystal and the rest of her staff do a fine job in taking care of their guests. They are very attentive to your needs which makes your stay that much more enjoyable. I wouldn't look any further when booking a hotel in south Florida. This is THE place to stay!!!

This is a great little gem in a great location! incredible views, however the rooms need a good deep cleaning and updated to include fixing a lot of items in the rooms. The staff at the front desk are very friendly and professional. Parking is also great and easy to get in and out.

Well I couldn't take her to Paris or New Zealand or NY City so I picked the next Best place for Valentine's Day---the BEST WESTERN on the Bay in Miami Beach. My girlfriend really enjoys coming here and frankly so do I. There is a lot to offer on the property with the pool, the views, Shuckers restaurant and miscellaneous other amenities but really the BEST is the greeting we get at the front desk. Kristal, is the front desk manager, and her staff really helped make our stay relaxing and comfortable. Alexia helped me by setting up the roses in our room before my gf arrived so she was happily surprised when she walked in. Yes, we have stayed there a few times before but they were nice from the first time I was their guest and it keeps getting better with every visit. Thank you again, Kristal. You and your team are the BEST.

This BW is an older property but well maintained and managed.An attached restaurant and bar create the atmosphere and the buzz needed for being in Florida. We were taking a cruise the next day so only stayed the one night. I was a little surprised the breakfast was not included as it is with other BW's and the charge was $16. However, remember you are in Miami and not small town USA. I would recommend this property but be aware the room rate and breakfast are different from others. It helped that we are in BW loyalty program and had earned a free night so we used it for one of the two rooms we needed. Bonus!! !Gotta love the loyalty programs.

This place was excellent. It sit right on the Bay. Had a nice restaurant where you could sit and watch what ever you desire, whether it's the yachts sailing by, the sunset at night it's your choice. It's even had a large chess board painted on the 2nd floor landing for those who play chess, as well as a great sitting area. The service was also good. I had booked a room without a balcony but I was given an upgrade to a balcony room without asking and for the same price.

I stay here a few times a year and I love. Far from al the chaos of south beach yet so close. Awesome staff and really good food. Their gift shop has all the essentials you need and they help you set up tours. I'll definitely be back soon.

Very average hotel. Front desk staff, housekeeping, and maintenance hardly smile. There is obviously a different manager in the restaurants as they are all very friendly. The carpet in the room was twenty five years old. I walked in a saw a big gray electrical panel. Tiny bath. Low grade amenities.The pool and bay view are terrific, the food and bar good. Breakfast was the highlight, but I would not stay in the hotel again.

Best Western Bay Marina is a well run hotel with great amenities. Rooms are clean and well appointed. Bathroom is a little small and dated but pool area is awesome. Buffet breakfast area is reasonable and well worth the money with cheerful staff. Good food was very tasty and good variety. It is located right on the water with a great view. Shuckers Waterfront Grill is on the property with good food and service

For an water front hotel (pool looks north over the water) in Miami, this is the place. Clean, comfortable, and mid range amenities for sure. Not a destination resort, but excellent for a one night stay. An easy drive to North Beach and South Beach

Not bad from the outside or the lobby, but looks are deceiving. The room is old, dated, and worn out. The bathroom is tiny....tiny like a powder room! The carpet smells and doesn't even reach the bathroom door sill. The entire room is dark and depressing and the musty, detergent or whatever it is smell is awful. Housekeeping tries, but this property has seen better days. Also, it's very deceptive as to location. Sounds lovely, but it's on a busy road, and recommended restaurants, except for two....one might kill themself crossing the highway!

Great location of this hotel between Miami and Miami Beach. We had a room in the building with sea view and we did saw manatees from our balcony one morning and we had great views. The room was clean but dated. It was located above the restaurant which is noisy. The pool, reception, fitness room etc were newly renovated. The breakfast restaurant was fine with a fair price. You need a car to stay here but parking is free.

I arrived very early and Kristal at the front desk was able to accommodate my early arrival. Even though it was extremely early, she was able to locate a ready room for me, which was GREAT!! I appreciate her willingness to help me.

Rooms are dark and old. Bathrooms are outdated and remodeled poorly. The ceiling tiles are loose and the carpet is musty and doesn't reach the bathroom door. The desk person was half asleep when we checked out. I felt like this hotel was better suited for hourly rates !

Booked 2 days to visit nephew at the end of a stay in the keys upon arrival on Friday afternoon facility was nice and clean staff friendly and helpful had dinner and drinks that evening and retired for the night. Woken up by construction activity in the hallway around 8 am opened door to a scaffolding set up in front of door that had to be moved by workers in order to get out. They were very nice and accommodating.work finished up @ 5 then the cleaning crew came in and ran vacuum until 8 was in and out throughout the day and they were accommodating. Mentioned at the desk Sunday morning when checking out and clerk apologized but said there was nothing she could do.greed must be the motivation to book a room knowing that scaffolding will be set up in front of doorway for 9 hrs and then 2 hours of vacuuming in hallway after. Nice facility but disappointed with work going on in hallway of rented room

We stayed two days and found the hotel well maintained, the room clean, the furniture comfortable, and the staff very friendly. The pool area was as expected for a nice Miami Beach hotel. There was ample free parking. There wasn't a free breakfast but for $16 including tax and gratuity overlooking the bay, it was worth the price. Our only complaint was the satellite tv wasn't working well but we didn't report it. The price was a little higher than we would have liked but we would return.

Hotel has a very nice lobby. Checkin was friendly and efficient. Room was ordinary, nothing unexpected, but with a welcome bonus of a balcony overlooking the bay. Always appreciated. Large outdoor pool area, spotlessly clean. Internet worked well and no issues to report.

After moving from a hotel that I had prepaid for but was uncomfortable at because it was not great for kids I decided to just book at a Best Western. I was so happy to find this one on the bay. Great views and very conveniently located to just about anything. Short Lyft ride to south beach and even and easy walk to North Beach (2 miles). When we checked in the staff was so friendly. And then we went to the bar/restaurant attached (Shuckers) for a couple of drinks and the staff there was amazing as well. Great food too which was nice to have close by. Also want to say how sweet the gift shop lady is. The pool was great and so great for relaxing. We really enjoyed the large chess game on the deck. The rooms are a little dated but the beds are comfortable and we finally slept great for the first time on our long vacation. I would definitely recommend this place for families!

We spent two nights at this hotel before taking our cruise; the location is great, close to everything without the craziness of South Beach, parking was easy but the hotel itself was disappointed. Our room was very old and dusty, elevators are small and slow and the corridors are dirty as they are open. The hotel needs a renovation badly ... price and location is good but the rooms are not. If you are not planning on spending lots of time in the hotel this might work, unless you have allergies or breathing problems.

Nice, friendly and accommodating. Bed was old and uncomfortable and breakfast buffett is crazy overpriced! If you're looking for a nice place to stay for a short time, this is a good one! Hopefully not all the beds are like the one we had. :)

Nice inexpensive option close to South Beach. We were upgraded to a lovely waterfront room, parking was easy, has coin laundry and lovely pool. Restaurant onsite has a great atmosphere and is on the waterfront. No free breakfast is a bit disappointing.

We stayed here for one night before our cruise. It's very acceptable for families. The front desk staff allowed us to check in early (7:30 am) at no additional cost so we were able to sleep after our red eye flight. The pool is nice and the central courtyard overlooks the inner harbour. Breakfast can be purchased from the rooftop cafe for $16 and it's a pleasant way to start the day. There's a gym that's decent. Coffee machine and fridge in room. The bathroom is pretty tight so don't expect to fit more than one in at a time. I don't think there's an elevator so only the ground floor could be considered accessible. IMPORTANT NOTE: I paid top Rate because I booked directly with Best Western. A guest standing next to me paid $219. When I questioned why I was paying $379 for one night, the desk attendant told me that it's cheaper to book through a discounter. She wouldn't budge on the price either. So, good accommodations but not a good feeling to find that booking directly with the hotel cost me an extra $160.

Checkin/out staff was excellent as was restaurant staff. Had a good sleep. Easy access in and out driving and safe parking. Breakfast was excellent, cook there for omelettes, eggs, etc. Nice pool area and also sitting level overlooking pool.

Booked for 2 days and both with a lot of noise from drinking, shouting people sitting just outside the room door in an area with tables and chairs. The security called and asked people to be quiet, but it only last 10 to 15 minutes in the night until 1.30 am

We always love staying at Best Western on the Bay Inn & Marina at North Bay Village, Miami! This time was particularly nice, we got an upgrade to a wonderful room with a beautiful view of the bay. All of the staff were super nice, even though they were working on Thanksgiving! We especially enjoyed having breakfast at Shuckers Restaurant in the mornings, the staff there is very friendly and welcoming!

The hotel itself is wonderful. We love it here. We ended up though on the opposite side of where we usually are. I say if you book stay on the bayside. I absolutely love the bayside better. A special thank you to this hotel for Accommodating my service dog.

Our stay here was quite nice. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Easy to get around, nice pool and restaurant on site. Nice view right out on to the bay. A little construction to deal with but not anything too inconvenient.

Great location! food was good breakfast tasty and very friendly. Although the elevator was broken we had no issues but house keeping could have done a better job... The lounges food was also good.....

Usually BW do offer free breakfast. At this location $16 per peson gets you breakfast. In and out of the hotel into traffic can be challenging. Great views, a pricy restaurant, nice swimming pool. There is also a $10 parking fee per night. There are lots of lodging options in the area for less, that include free parking and breakfast.

Location was ok, great view, good parking, but 10$/night is not ok. Should be standard included. Hotel is in pretty bad shape. Rooms should get renovated. Tv was ridiculous, bad quality. Bar next door is great. Breakfast deal was awesome. Very friendly service, great view.

The view from the hotel on Miami is really beautiful. The pool is huge. The hotel is easy to access (if driving in Miami is easy...) it's right between Miami and Miami Beach. You can visit all the highlights from there. The parking is an additional 10$ and breakfast is 16$. We did not have breakfast there, preferred to eat our own on the nice balcony.

As much as I enjoyed my BW stay last year, there was room for improvement. This year I saw the results of preventative maintenance (everything in our room was in perfect working order) and the initiation of updating the building. Thank you, BW, for listening to your guests. I am looking forward to our next visit!

This is clearly a renovated property but the details were overlooked. The bathroom door did not shut properly, the main door did not fit properly, the toilet tank would refill spontaneously. The fridge and microwave were great, the bed just ok, the tv had several channels but few were HD. The bathtub/shower/toilet room was VERY small so you have to maneuver around the toilet to shut the door. Finally, no issues with the parking or wifi, however, the windows are thin and there is quite a bit of noise from the road and bar/restaurant on the property.

Front desk lady Kristal was rude at check in and also when I ask her a question the next day so I won't be back at any Best Western Hotel at all the breakfast was not worth the $16 plus tax per person also parking is $10 a day so you really get ripped off

Beware of the bed bugs. Stayed here for one night layover on Sept 21. I received so many bed bug bites on my arms, shoulders, legs, back, etc. needless to say my Sandals vacation to the Bahamas was ruined because of the itching and red bites!

Super location on the water. Especially if you have a bay view. Noise doesn't bother us and we actually enjoyed hearing the music from the restuarant below our balcony. If you're noise sensitive, don't get a bay view room. Rooms are average, nothing special but nothing detrimental to having a good stay. Cleaning staff are very pleasant. Especially the lady grounds keeper who's always sharing a greeting when she sees you. The restuarant food isn't great but we went for the view on the water. We were disappointed to learn that the woman at the front desk overcharged us for the one night we added. How do they think it's okay to charge $40 more than I could have booked the same room online for? From their own website. My fault, lesson learned. I just think it's shady. And especially unfair for anyone not tech savvy who wouldn't think to book online. I did think of it but trusted her unfortunately. I guess everyone has a job to do. I just don't see why you'd do that to a customer if you'd like them to ever stay there again. I've already found another waterfront location to stay through Airbnb because of this experience, for next time we're there.

We just returned from 5 nights. The first night I booked online was one rate. The second night we added at the time of check in as we were still unsure where we would be spending the next few days in Florida. That second night was the highest by a lot. We decided we would end up staying in the area so the 3rd, 4th and 5th night I booked online. Those were weekend nights and still much cheaper than the one and only night I booked at the front desk. She tried to say it was because I asked for bay view but once I booked the 3 additional nights I learned that wasn't true because I booked bay view and the rate was way cheaper than what she charged me.

Our stay at Best Western On The Bay Marina was everything we could ask for! Kristal was great to deal with for our group booking. The entire staff was very helpful. We had no issues with check in/out. Perfect for family. Close to the beautiful beach. Rooms were well kept. Pool was perfect! Thank you for everything! I would stay there again!

It was ok. I have stayed here before had a previously had a good stay hence why I returned. I was told st reception I had been given an upgrade, well I would hate to have seen what the other room was like. The upgraded room was shabby and dated. Splashed across the hotels web site are notes about a refit. Well where it is. Yes the front doors are being redone (work is months over due!). The room I was in had not been refitted at all. It was impossible to run a bath the water didn't run fast enough. It was impossible to run a shower the water didn't run fast enough. The water was cold at 9pm and it was equally cold in the morning at 7am. Not good or very nice at all. There was no drinking water bottle in the room on the day when the temperature was in the 90f's. no duty of care. The person on reception told me that new owners had taken over recently. I can only say the new owners appear more interested in ripping money out of our pockets, rather than giving value for money and providing customer service. The upgraded room was above the bar/restaurant. The smell of smoke was awful when sitting out on the balcony. The noise from the people in the bar and outside on the decking was awful and very loud. It was also noticeable when the balcony door was shut in the room. At checkout it looked like the night porter was still on. What a miserable person he was. He didn't bother to make eye contact. He didn't care. He didn't say good morning, goodbye or thank you for staying or even ask how the stay was. If he had I would have told him there was a women going crazy in the room next to me and it sounded like she was throwing things st the other person in the room! He just wanted to get rid of me. I'm booked to return to this hotel next week. I am thinking I'll cancel because this stay was so awful. . I did cancel in the end. Why? Well the rooms are too dated and tired l, expensive car parking. A charge for no reason apart from making more money. Noise and smoke smell from the cafe below and also a building site in reception that as the said is months overdue. A shame. I know they won't miss me but I won't be back. There are so many hotels to choose from this place needs to remember this and step up their game.

If you book online on Best Western's website, it's cheaper than making a reservation on the phone because there are no refunds. That's okay with me because we definitely plan on going. But Trip Adviser offers a better rate with ZEN. So I went on ZEN's website, and it was $50 cheaper, with no refund. I filled everything out and had just hit the "purchase" button, when lo and behold, in very tiny print on the side of the page, nowhere near where it showed the total amount I was paying, it said I will be charged a $75 resort fee upon my arrival. That is unacceptable. And now they won't refund me. ZEN should not be allowed to do business that way. Be careful who you book with!

This hotel on Booking was a very good value. Nice pool. Nice restaurant Schucker's. Guest laundry. Nice view on the bay. Small and dark room though. Tiny bathroom. The location is worth the price. Staff keen to help you.

I came down here with friends to enjoy our vacation. We enjoyed our stay. They had great customer service, good food. The outside view was amazing. Definitely would come back here again. The atmosphere was great as well.

The view from the baloney was very beautiful. The hotel overlooks this really nice bay. The room really wasnt too high either we got 5 days 4 nights for 2 rooms under $800, which I feel like is a really good deal.

We stayed here for 3 nights in May. Hotel is in a good location when using a car. Check in was quick and staff very friendly. There is a small gift shop in reception where you can purchase tour tickets and hop on/off bus tickets. The lady was very helpful and informative as to where to park etc for easy access to pick up the bus tour. We were there for the memorial weekend which was busy, so it was nice to have a plan on where to visit. The pool area was very nice with good views of the marina, the restaurant was very busy but was a nice place to eat one evening overlooking the water. The rooms were clean but could do with a change of decor, it seemed a little dark , we had a room overlooking the car park but could see the marina too. Beds were comfy and didn't find it too noisy. All in all a good stay and therefore we would recommend.

Noisy room, had a clown security guy, who watches over parking lot, talking loudly on phone all night near our room . Staff were sympathetic but, spoiled our stay Great breakfast Restaurant good views, food expensive and basic

Really unexpectedly good spot with superb views across the Marina. There was an excellent [good sized] swimming pool and deck area. The staff were good and there was an excellent onsite restaurant. And it was great value for money.

If you just want to get away for a few nights this place is perfect! The Bar&Grill had good drinks!! Marina view was nice. The receptionist was extremely welcoming and helpful. Wouldn't mind going back

I expected more, when I booked my stay. I stayed for 15 days and I was surprised in what bad shape the rooms were. The bathroom was super small, two people would never fit. The furniture was in a bad shape, and the room was not clean. The staff did not vaccum the room regurlarly, which was also not very nice. Pool area was nice. The staff at the reception desk was not really helpful (when I searched for my adapter). Instead of supporting me, they just told me to ask the housekeeping staff directly. I was expecting more pro-active help. Very good was the fridge and the coffee maker in the room. However, for that price, I would not stay in this hotel again.

I spent 3 nights with my family in this BW on our 2 week Florida vacation trip and i am more than disapointed! In past years we stayed in let"s say 15 different Best Western hotels in Europe and USA, and this one is the worst.... The first disappointment is when we entered the room feels like cheap old motel, two double beds... terrible old furniture, dark, dusty, ground level with view on bush and parking, sound isolation ZERO (some girls checked in on 2:30am next door and played music) we heard every word they say, even on their tv... did not sleep half night. An old bathroom with a hollow tub full of ants, cleaners came every day to make a bed afternoon around 5pm???? They are remodeling "hotel" enterance so trucks and workers make noise from early morning... they charge 10$ a day for parking, on this trip we have been on much luxurious hotels and not one charged parking. Breakfast is also charged in restaurant near hotel. Good sides of this place are great pool and location,but because of everything else next time i will look for another place nearby.

Our rooms was located on the seaside view, you look out the window and there it is the beautiful sea. The front of house staff was very helpful on our arrival, recommending tons of activities for us, made sure we were comfortable during our stay. We had the continental breakfast, plenty of options and freshly prepared. The restaurant staff was very friendly, polite and very welcoming. We'll definitely coming back soon.

Room very comfortable, we were upgraded as we are B/W members, hotel is 1½ miles from Miami beach and only 5 miles from centre of Miami and freeway, has a large pool and an on-site restaurant (Shuckers) which is excellent

We are on a 2 week beach travel trip in Florida. We stayed 75% of the time in Best Western Hotels. We really liked the location and the service of the Hotel. Service was awesome from check in to check out. However, the room was small, the front door had an 1/2 inch gap and didn't look tight. Bathroom was very small, we're not the biggest people but we had a hard time to move around when we used the shower. In fairness, the price we paid for the 6 nights, plus the great location, it was a great place to stay.

Posted on July 12th 2019 Single working mother of 2 saving for vacation from California to Miami Florida. Left California July 5th,travels have been great. Now in Texas watching weather in Florida . The states ahead in my route says because of hurricanes and storms do not come. I call to cancel reservation due to we can not travel due to weather conditions. I am told by BEST WESTERN I will not get a refund I try to explain I am not able to drive through these weather conditions . I am told by higher management absolutely no refund ,no nothing sorry you unable to make it. I am single mother supporting 2 children on my own saving for this trip and cannot getting any kind of refund. Great customer service. The other hotels gave me a refund with $$$ small cancelation fee. Thank you

The hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating. Everyone was friendly, easy going, and happy! You feel welcomed because everyone greets you with a smile. Our room/bathroom was always clean, our balcony was spacious and everything was stocked daily. The best part, you get a pretty decent sized refrigerator and a microwave! There's a lot of closet space and hangers too. The resort was definitely relaxing especially earlier in the day before noon when the pool is still pretty empty or later at night. You can order drinks at Shuckers and have it poolside while taking in the nice view. The breakfast buffet overlooks the water and is pretty standard, simple and delicious. Go for omelet station. The whole experience was hassle free and we highly recommend Best Western if you're looking for a decent place to stay that provides everything you need with exceptional service.

Every time I come to stay here it always brings a smile to my face. The hotel staff really try's to make you feel like you're family and breakfast is always a plus for the price but shuckers is so yummy!!!

Excellent hotel a short drive from the action of South Beach. Easy access, lots of parking (not free), superb restaurant downstairs with affordable bay front dining. Breakfast fantastic and worth it. Great WiFi and everything that is nice about BW included.

Reasonably priced hotel on the water in Miami. Good breakfast, nice pool, Shuckers restaurant good and handy. Staff friendly, clean rooms. Parking very convenient. Convenient to Miami and within walk of supermarket which was handy as had a microwave in room.

Very nice staff. Clean friendly environment. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Due to a powerful storm the power went out briefly, the staff was attentive to restoring tv service after it went out. Food at adjoining restaurant was excellent. Hotel has EVERYTHING you need, including a bonus view of the harbor where you may be able to spot a Manatee.

We checked in and waited 2 hours for our room to cool down. We had maintenance check it twice. Chris, at the front desk, was such a great help. He was so patient and I felt so bad that we kept bothering him about the heat in the room. He was so good about refunding us the room and we left and went somewhere else. It was a great location and we would stay there again. (As long as the room is cooler)

This Is The Best hotel Ive ever Been Too. They show No disrespect everyone including the staff are kindly polite I wouldn't mind living here for the rest of the year lol But Chris And Claudia are honestly the best front desk workers I've ever encountered they deserve a raise and a bigger place in the hotel they are amazing

We enjoyed out stay at Bay Inn & Marina very much. It is in a beautiful location with many amenities for guest including restaurant, lounge. Tikki bar, pools, tennis boating ...you name it! If we are ever in the St. Pete area again We will definitely be staying!

The Hotel was in the process of renovations but the rooms had been recently finished. The rooms were in excellent condition and well done. For an older hotel they were great. The staff was way above great and could not do enough to assist you in every way possible. One employee was the BEST weI have ever encountered in all of our hundreds of stay in every level of Hotel in the world!!!

We booked thru AGODA but the rooms were in a very bad condition, so we didn't stayed in this hotel. It is not newly renovated. Front Desk employee Alexis was very professional and helpful. She understood our problem and did a very good job. At the moment there is still a issue with the refund by AGODA (confirmation by Best Western pending).

The people there were super super nice. The double beds are horribly hard. Staff was so nice. The view of water was great. The main restaurant is very good. I'd recommend this place. Do not get the double bed room if you don't like a hard bed.

We had a great time and an amazing experience. You can't beat the view of the pool overlooking the ocean, and if you aren't tired of the view, you can keep looking at it while you're sitting with a drink in your hand at the hotel's bar ! The hotel vibe was very Miami and we loved it! For the price that we paid for the hotel, you just can't beat it! Thank you to the entire staff!

We stayed here one night before leaving for our cruise. The staff is some of THE FRIENDLIEST staff I have ever encountered at a hotel. The rooms are clean and updated. We had a nice little balcony overlooking the marina. The pool was great for kids and couples. We did not eat at the restaurant, but my sister did and said it was amazing! If you're looking for a great deal and a clean room, then this is the hotel! We will definitely keep this hotel in mind for future trips.

Amazing view and happy hour, happy hour is great , pina colada was amazing and the tuna tar tar great location, in north bay village. Blended drinks are not that strong because they are pre made but amazing view and location

Had a good experience with my wife only issue i had was moving around the room in my wheelchair and having to roll ALL THE WAY to the otherside of the building to access the pool an back to get back to the room hotel needs a accessible ramp on the other side so it wouldn't be much of a strain for anyone that was on the side close to shuckers restaurant

Great view and pool area overlooking the sea. Cheap price but expensive in the bar and restaurant. They also hold a large deposit during your stay, thankfully this didn't impact on our spending money but would be useful to plan for. We also had to re-book over the phone as booking.com/the hotel tried to take the whole amount from my partners card prior to the stay despite it being pay on arrival. We only stayed a night so can't comment too much on the whereabouts but location wise it seemed a little far out from the main areas, however I loved this little hotel. Good size and clean room, would recommend.

The hotel is being remolded and looks very nice. The remolding did not affect guests stay except for the front entrance. The only down side was when I tried to take my daughters to the pool at 9:30, we were informed the pool closed at 9. Very disappointing.

I would not recommend staying here, it is an old motel, smells moldy, rooms are dark and depressing. Needed an extra blanket, it arrived promptly but had a bug in it, so obviously did not use. Pay a little more and go somewhere else!

The beds here are brilliant and had it not been for the noise next door we would have slept well. The staff were helpful and when the noise started the next night we rang reception and they called the room and dealt with it. The staff were all really friendly from the cleaning staff, front desk and in the shop and breakfast area. The photos make it look more than it is but it is a nice place to stay. I would challenge the description of the views from the balconies as whilst they are nice, you cant really call them ‘exquisite' as per the description when you are looking over the car park. Also they CHARGE for PARKING about $10 per night which it does state but not that clearly...however it is very clean and comfortable.

It was a pleasure to stay! We really enjoyed 2 days. Ayram was very helpful and supportive. Special thanks to him! Location and view to Miami Marina are exceptional. I can't wish more. Drinking morning coffee and looking to water! :)

May 2nd thru 6th Cinco De Mayo week , It was Wife's birthday, after getting off the cruise ship, BW at North Bay, Great location , close to everything we need to be at , very nice views from the hotel/restaurant ..Night and Day ..outdoor like setting , reasonable prices, have music , sports bar, night life all is one, Parking cost average $10 a day ,Buffet breakfast at restaurant $16 average , We was offer free wine one time ..that was cool too , set the mood LOL ...Will be back to stay again

Staying next door. Second night coming here.bar staff great. Pity I can't say that for wait staff. Good pub food Service on 2 night back. First one bad but tonight so bad I didn't leave a tip and told her I didn't tip bad service or dad attitude. She just walked off.if she were my staff she wouldn't have a job.sadly this spoilt our night.even though view and venue were great

This hotel was excellent for the price. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay prior to cruising from the Port of Miami. The breakfast was excellent but I think a little overpriced.

The staff were really lovely and helpful, had a great stay and the price was really good for having access to internet, pool, restaurant, gym, free coffee and printing for documents I needed - would recommend If you are in the area

We decided to visit Vizcaya and found this hotel and were very happy with the location on the water and a fun restaurant on site, plus our room had a great view of the intercoastal waterway...Breakfast was also a good value.

Very fun place to stay. Always active and beautiful view! Would stay again when in the area! The food was very good and the staff was friendly. We were only there one night but would return if in the area.

This was a great bolt hole for us to explore the Miami area. The staff where excellent and the rooms where exactly what we needed with 2 small children, functional and well priced. We stay again and recommend to others. The staff even gave me a shot of their own personal cuban coffe to try, a really great team.

Spent two days at the hotel as a stopover before a trip to the Caribbean. The hotel radiated a casual and friendly atmosphere, with clean public areas and sufficient facilities. The accommodation clean ! I stayed on a ground floor room without a balcony and restricted view. The area like most Miami areas is quite secluded, but has a few supermarkets , stores, and eating places within a 1 mile walking distance ., and quite a nice Latin vibe to the lagoon bayside village. The on site bay view diner is reasonably priced and a great evening sunset and after hours spot. With exceptional front of house staff and outgoing house keeping and grounds staff. This hotel is the perfect stop over point for transiting through Miami.

This place is very clean. Rooms a bit small, but each one has an outside balcony. The pool area is really nice with great views of Biscayne Bay. Unfortunately breakfast is not included, but can be purchased for $16. Seemed like a lot, but food was really good and served in a room overlooking the bay with a stunning view. Considering how pricey the Miami area is, this place is pretty affordable. Would stay there again. Also, Shuckers, the attached restaurant, had really good food. Sit on the outside patio and watch the boat traffic. Highly recommend the wings!

Nice scenic location right on the water! Peaceful and quiet area. The staff was very friendly and exceptionally responsive to my needs and requests. This hotel was a great value for the Miami area. If you do not have a car, your restaurants options within walking distance are somewhat limited. However, there is cool bar & grill restaurant right next to the hotel with outdoor seating on the water!

Stayed here whilst travelling through florida, hotel is a good quality hotel with a pool. Parking is chargeable. Staff polite and friendly. Avoid shuckers next door the staff are rude Especially Shannon the blonde waitress

This is a typical american motel room. Do not stay here if you need to take taxis to and from south beach - as you will end up paying a lot of money! Its ok and does the job but the room doesnt feel safe and it is very basic.

I didn't get on with this hotel at all. The rooms are very small, the bathrooms even smaller. We were initially given a room with a balcony but it was claustrophobic and the paint was missing in many places. We changed to a bigger room but the bathroom was even smaller than the first. Although not mentioned anywhere they charge for parking, a little underhand I feel. The hotel flatters to deceive looks good on line but doesn't live up to the description.

The check in and check out process was super smooth. Room had ample space. Water pressure excellent. Breakfast amazing!!! Definitely recommend. Gorgeous views. Great for family or couples or even business.

Location is very convenient and hotel is very pleasant and cozy. The perfect getaway. We celebrated our 18 year anniversary. Shuckers Restaurant was lovely and right across from our room. Good sunset views from restaurant.

Best western does have best in their name for a reason, absolutely loved every minute i stayed in this hotel! My check in was very fast paced and alexis was very friendly and made sure to answer all my questions. I would definitely stay again.

While our room and the pool were lovely, smoking is allowed EVERYWHERE at the outdoor pool and EVERYWHERE at the onsite Shuckers Restaurant (which is trying to pretend it is a bar to sleaze by the no-smoking state laws. If you want to breathe without smoke, dont stay here. Also, Shuckers plays music so loud you can't hear others at your table.

We have stayed numerous times at this BW since 2016 and for good reason... The property is always clean, well-lit at night, and always has security guards covering ALL the grounds of the property, not just the parking lots. The on-site sports bar is always clean, has fantastic views of Biscayne Bay and cooling fans to keep things cool in the heat of summer. The rooms are recently remodeled and done quite tastefully. The pool is not only free-form, it is HUGE! Furthermore, I have never seen the quality of the water to be anything less than crystal clear and used by adults as well as tots.

My original reservation somewhere else had fell through. So, It's a Friday night in Miami I wasn't expecting any nice hotels to have open rooms. But I found this place online. The location was perfect. The front desk clerks were very nice and helpful. My room was clean and very comfortable. I will stay again.

Kristal and alexis made sure i got my room early. Ayram hooked up it with some drink coupons. Chris, gave me some great advice on the local hangouts. Overall an amazing stay! Will deff stay here again.

This is probably a 50 to 60 year old motel that was ungraded in the last decade, and is showing its age (water marks on ceiling, stale air), though none of these are problematic. (The liner in my bat tub had separated and there was a pool of water underneath that made standing in the shower akin to balancing on a water balloon - it wasnt an issue for me as i have good balance, but i can see it being problematic for others - I did report it to the front desk after the first day and they said they would look after it - that said, i will be curious if anyone stays in room 223 in the future if the problem was resolved). All that being said, this is a Best Western, and not the Ritz-Carleton after all. It has a great location, clean and comfortable rooms with a good size fridge, microwave oven, access to beach towels, morning paper and coffee, and a decent restaurant with an extremely popular happy hour. Dynamic pricing drives me nuts as room rates fluctuate constantly on various websites, including the Best Western's (sign of the times as everyone does this). All things considered, I would definitely stay here again if the price was right.

We spent 2 nights here. Front desk staff was friendly & enthusiastic & had great ideas about things to do. Able to check in early to very quiet comfy room so able to get over jet lag (from Australia).

Great, little hotel that looks out over the water. Clean and spacious with modern decor. We had room 563 with a small balcony looking out over the water. We arrived early (9am) but they were kind enough to hold our luggage until our room opened up. The front staff were great, spending a lot of time helping us find something to do for the day. We ended up taking the free trolley down to South Beach (the trolley stop is a 10 minute walk over the bridge). We had an issue with the AC but they fixed it right away. The pool area is nice with pool chairs, lounge chairs and a small pool. No separate pool towels so you have to use your room ones. If there's any suggestion I can make is that separate towels in the pool area would be great. We took advantage of the continental breakfast and were not disappointed. Great coffee, eggs made to order, hot sausages and bacon, waffle making station, fresh pastries, hot porridge, fresh fruit, etc.

Where to start... - Breakfast: Very rude service by Elida and her manager who overcharged me and only corrected it after I pointed out the price on the menu was way lower and clearly pointed out that tip and taxes were already covered (see picture attached). Needless to say my check was cut in half!!! Old pastries, over priced, tip is already included and there is nothing you can do about it. You must go elsewhere for breakfast. Anywhere else will be better. - Not walking distance from any attractions. Not the beach, not restaurants, not the zoo, nothing. -Coin laundry on site but front desk didn't have quarters. The story in the lobby didn't help either. Closest store is 5 blocks away. -Pool towels? Nope. I was told by the front desk to get the ones in my room. * I will absolutely not be staying here again and do not recommend it to anyone. Best Wester Plus down the road may be worth your while; not this one.

Stayed 2 nights pre-cruise with family of 5, suite was more spacious than expected and included 2 balconies and opened onto a large common terrace with perfect views of the bay. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Location felt safe although very little within walking distance. Hopping restaurant/bar right on the the water if you enjoy seafood - we would have used it but food choices were limited other than seafood. OK distance by Lyft to South Beach and cruise terminal. Breakfast was not included and was pricey - offered standard hot/cold options normally included in the room price. Would definitely stay again.

This property is 50-60 years old. The rooms are ok. They are clean and the property is very well maintained. The hotel is an old motel with outside hallways leading into many of the rooms. We were impressed with the pool area and how management does their best to keep this property as nice as they can. Found most of the staff friendly

Hotel has recently been refurbished and looks great. Located on the bay and next to a fine sports bar, the hotel is an ideal stop-over for business or vacation. Rooms are well presented and parking was is easy.

Stopped here last month as a touch down in Miami heading elsewhere. Chose it due to the location to the water and to the town (Winwood). The hotel staff were very helpful and polite. The room was as expected at this price point, large enough for 2 with luggage and the usual amenities. The room was clean and comfortable. On site they have a small pool and a sun deck overlooking the water. All was clean but the pool is not heated so be brave in January :) Small breakfast facilities are on the 2nd floor, nice staff and clean and tidy. Price for breakfast does not compare to an iHop though.

Following a family cruise, my siblings and I spent three nights in this facility using three rooms and the staff was great in making sure we were located near one another and generally well taken care of. The view is very very nice and only short Uber distances to sites we were interested in. No hesitation in recommending

The staff was very helpful during the stay (ayram, alexis, and Chris) I wish I could have stayed longer! The breakfast was definitely worth the price, the Parking charge of $10 a night can't complain.

This hotel has been renovated and is very nice if you are looking for a budget friendly no frills hotel. The restaurant is wonderful as is the view and staff. Only negative was the electric...could not charge any devices as the wattage was not high enough.

The renovations are very nicely done. The front desk clerk, Chris was the absolute nicest, friendliest, helpful and professional hotel employee I have ever dealt with !!! He is a true asset to the company. The bartenders were also extremely friendly and helpful! will definitely visit again!

We needed a one night stay before boarding our cruise ship. Luckily we picked a great place. It was clean, quiet and great amenitites. Wonderful seafood restaurant onsite right by the water. Perfect place to start our holiday.

A very affordable hotel with nice clean rooms, quiet and good location, lovely pool area with sun all day. But most important of all, a very friendly and accommodating staff that does its very best to make guests feel comfortable. Pretty nice place. We stayed here the night before our cruise out of port miami. We got the room on Priceline. When we checked in they upgraded our room to a balcony with a view of the bay which was a nice surprise. Room was clean. Bed was ok...kinda lumpy. Bathroom is small..but didnt bother us. No free breakfast. But free coffee in the lobby. It has an attached bar/restaurant that we went to last night. Got to sit outside right on the bay. Not to over priced, and food was good. Staff friendly.

Briefly stayed at BW Bay Inn before heading on a cruise. Nicely renovated room and lobby. Staff was helpful with dinner suggestions and directions. Even though I didn't use it, the pool area was nice, but a little small. Plenty of parking on site. There was even a free trolly operating two blocks away (North Beach Loop).

I had a great time this weekend!! The front desk staff is excellent! The room was great, very clean with a good view of the water! Some good restaurants around as well! Not that far from Miami Beach as well! We will be back!

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. I did think from the beginning that the hotel was a bit over priced but our choices were limited so we stayed here anyway. Upon arrival of our room we realized that a room with double beds was not going to work out for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Thankfully Ayram from the front desk was so nice and patient to move us to a “suite” which does offer more space and two queen beds but no view and same small bathroom. We were okay with no view since we spent most of our days out and about. I'm really grateful he made our room change stress free. The pool is clean but the water is cold. The laundry area is a plus. We had breakfast on the 2nd floor and in my opinion is it over priced but the waiters were really nice and everything was clean and fresh. We didn't try the restaurant but it did smell good. My only issue is that the walls were thin and the room next to our for 2 nights straight had loud and crying kids/babies. I didn't complain to front desk but I should have. Seriously it did get annoying at times.

Because of a credit card snafu, the hotel cancelled our reservation 2 hours before we arrived. Upon arrival, there was only 1 room available, the suite. Of course, it was significantly more expensive. There was no other options so we took it. Suite ? No. It was a big room and a nice view but the carpet was old and somewhat dirty, the room had a strong odor of disinfectant and it was something straight out of the 70's. In all fairness, upon returning home, we called the manager and expressed our disappointment. He refunded us the difference between the "suite" and the price of the room we originally booked.

We first arrived To check in at around 10:30 pm . We got to the check-in desk nobody was there to greet us . We stood there for 15 minutes waiting for somebody to show up to the front desk . We got our key went to room and found that our bathroom was infested with termites . It was late so we decided just to go to bed . We expressed our concerns at check out but it appeared that the front desk girls did not care

This is the perfect getaway spot! Restaurant and bar is on property overlooking the bay. We order wings for our room and they were delicious! Pool was beautifully maintained. Rooms were clean. What more can you ask for.

Amazing stay! very clean and great staff. restaurant is gorgeous and had great food. will definitely be coming back. i could not make it on time for check out, but they were great enough to grant me a late check out at no cost.

My son and I stayed here while visiting Miami for our Father/Son Trip to hang out & watch the Miami Hurricanes play. The hotels in a great location, the scenery is beautiful, the people were nice, and the room was more than adequate. We thought we'd had an excellent stay UNTIL I began itching over the next few days. I had several spots that I thought were mosquito bytes that just wouldn't go away. I finally went to the doctor and I was told I had bed bug bites! I immediately called the hotel and calmly explained the issue. The person I spoke to was nice and informed me that they had no manager on duty for the weekend but they would leave a communication in their book. She had NO sense of urgency which makes me wonder if this is a common occurrence. I called Hotels.com as well and they offered me a $50 credit for a room I paid $140 for. I guess I'll need to re-evaluate my hotel choices AND the companies I use to book them. Especially now that I'm incurring medical costs and taking steroids to reduce the burning, itching and pain I'm experiencing. My recommendation.... DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

As soon as i walked into this lobby and greeted by the lovely front desk staff especially alexis (she is outstanding) i already knew it was going to be a wonderful stay and it turned to be one! Shuckers was even amazing!

This is my second time staying at this hotel. The rooms are very well maintained and 100% clean and the staff is wonderful. There is also an on-site restaurant, Shucker's that has amazing food, service, and views. Check in and check out was a breeze. They treat their elite BW Rewards members extremely well, even giving a snack and water bag when you check in. The staff were very helpful in resolving a problem when I had to have emergency surgery the next day. I highly recommend this property if you are in Miami!

Our first visit at this Best Western led to a repeat visit because the staff is so friendly, efficient, accommodating, and helpful. The pool is spacious with a huge patio. The restaurant offers the best affordable buffet ever but the waitstaff really makes it enjoyable with their friendly demeaner and efficiency. I look forward to another return.

My last review for this hotel was so-so. We stayed overnight recently and this property has been upgraded and is nice! Walking into the lobby, the hotel looked fresh and cool. We got a wonderful deal on our stay compared to other places on the beach. Our room was quiet with a balcony. Good shower and decent vanity space. Still no body lotion but I was prepared this time. No fan in the bathroom was a minus. The A/C worked well. Nice big armoire. It was as if the whole room was re-done. Front desk was friendly. The pool looks beautiful at night, the bay view is lovely. At this location, you're close to South Beach, Aventura Mall, and there are lots of restaurants and shops nearby in North Miami. We didn't have breakfast but I don't think it's included here like at many BWs. Still a great value hotel.

If you are looking for a hotel away from the hustle and bustle of Miami Beach this is the hotel for you. The hotel is situated in North Miami Beach away from the main hotel strip. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating, the rooms were well maintained and very clean although the furniture has seen better days. There is a wonderful restaurant and sports bar overlooking the bay and the food is excellent and reasonably priced. My only complaint is if you do not have a vehicle, getting around Miami Beach can be a hassle but of course there is Uber and various taxi services available. Our preference was to take a 10 minute stroll over the bridge and get a ride on the free trolley. Would I stay at this hotel again? Absolutely, good value for the price.

Our room and view was AWESOME. We upgraded to a balcony facing the water for an extra $25 a night, it was so worth it. The hotel staff was great. We didn't enjoy the food at Shuckers but the staff was great. We definitely will be staying here again.

We've stayed here twice now before our cruises and loved it! Gorgeous views, dock to walk out and take sunset photos on, restaurant overlooks the water, great rooms and location! The only negative if I had one is the price. 4 years ago it was around $120, now it's double that. Maybe they realized how nice they are and raised their prices. It was a bit much for one night before our cruise but the location is nice for port access.

The TripAdvisor Reviews helped us pick this BW for a quick 10 day trip in October and I'm glad we did. The front desk people were polite and helpful. Although we had booked a room with the balcony over the parking lot, we were pleasantly surprised to find it also gave us a part view of the gorgeous waterfront causeway. ( I hope to add a photo of the baloney view from Room 321. Room 322 would also have the same view.) We really enjoyed sitting out on the balcony in the warm mornings eating breakfast and in the evenings with our cold glass of wine. The mini fridge was great to have in the room to facilitate these options. There is a Walgreen's walking distance away, but the open roofed Shucker's Grill Restaurant on site was a marvelous plus. Delicious food and great drinks, all with a beautiful water view. The pool was well maintained and we relaxed on the second storey lounge chairs as well. We found there was a parking fee at most Miami hotels, so we weren't surprised by this. And there appears to be 24 hour security of the parking lot, so that was a comfort. An affordable get-away in a great location. Look forward to returning for another stay .

Pros: Location, location and location. Also the bar in the hotel and the nice refurbish lobby. Cons: For being a BW is rare that they charge you for breakfast and for Parking, even when is a big parking lot and the hotel is kind of motel style ( door look either to the pool ( very nice by the way) or to the parking lot. Hotel is just refurbish and nice Has a nice big fridge the room. Is the BW style is very near everything, airport, beach, south beach, malls and restaurants. Is not super fancy but has a great price considering in the beach only 3 blocks away and is double or triple and they charge you the parking lot like a car rental!

Clean room friendly staff! Incredible view of bay we're right over the restaurant yet once the sliding doors are closed you get no noise from restaurant. Definitely coming here again...close to everything

bar is great ...enjoyed eating on the water and watching boat come up to the dock... close to the beach via car....easy parking the entrance has a traffic light ...great with busy traffic...next time Ill stay longer

We spent two nights here as we were taking a cruise from Miami Port and wanted to say somewhere within easy reach of the port. This hotel is about a 25 minute drive from the port so was an ideal location to us. We arrived early for check in, but that was no problem for the staff who let us check in early. The staff at reception were amazingly helpful and friendly. We were allocated a King Room with a balcony, with a side view of the bay. There was also a terrace right outside our room door where you could take a drink and relax, whilst watching people enjoying themselves at the nearby Shuckers Waterfront Bar and also watch the boats on the bay. Our room was spotlessly clean with all the amenities you need. The room was a good size, although the bathroom was rather small. The swimming pool was well maintained and not too busy. Although restaurants and shops are sparse in this immediate area, I would recommend this hotel for a short stay, especially if intending to sail from the cruise port.

Great localization and staff. (Oscar, Giuliana and Chris) All of them very helpful. We spend about 5/6 days at BW. Our first time at Miami Area. No complaints at all. Nice view of the bay. Great breakfast.

Good location on the bay if you choose to pay for a view. Could be better equipped, a bottle of water in the fridge would help. Since last time breakfast is not included and is in the restaurant. Staff are friendly and helpful.

I've stayed here several times over the past few years, and it keeps improving every time. I feel the value received for the unbeatable location, extremely attentive staff, and very clean rooms: pretty darned great. It's an older hotel that's been refurbished, and they've done an excellent job. You're right on Biscayne Bay, 1/2 way between the beach and Miami. It's a great spot. The staff is what makes it as lovely a stay as it is. I felt cared for, and that's uncommon even at much more expensive hotels in the area. Give it a try, I have a feeling you may be back. Cannot beat the price. Thanks!!

It is in a lovely location and the views beautiful by the pool. Room is large enough with microwave as well. Plenty of parking and very reasonable for Miami Beach at $10 per night. Within 10 minutes of anything we wanted to visit in South Beach and only 20 minutes to downtown Miami. However, there seems to be some unsavoury characters checking in as well and they hung out on the corridors, and talked loudly till late in our adjoining rooms. Thank goodness this time I was not alone, as I do travel solo quite often.

We've never visited the Miami Beach area and wasn't sure where to stay. We did some research and decided to stay at the Best Western On the Bay. We had many stay it was great and a few that gave it low reviews. But we decided let's do it and so glad we did. We had a great experience all around. Making the reservations was just perfect. Getting there and checking in was smooth and the front desk staff were very sweet and helpful. The room was nice. We had seen comments that it was in need of upgrading but the room we had was just nice. We had the bay view and was just so relaxing. Bathroom was nice and had new fixtures. Only issue we had was the TV reception was a bit fuzzy as it was a Satellite Dish but it was taken care of within the hour I brought it to their attention. Most likely was the Satellite company issue as the TVs around the bar were out too. They have a very nice pool, well maintained and if you're lucky you can get covered parking. The restaurant on site was awesome. Great food, staff very friendly and they have a happy hour from 5pm - 7pm. So worth it, especially if you decide to go down to the South Beach area as it's so over priced. Only recommendation I would offer is if you're going to South Beach and want to experience the nightlife, shopping and abundance of restaurants than stay at a unreasonably priced hotel there. To me not worth it. Our hotel was nice. South Beach traffic is horrific! They have a trolly that goes around but has way too many stops before getting to your destination. Would we stay at this hotel again if in that area....you bet.

I am surprised over how bad a restaurant can be when it is situated so well. I was meet with a nice smile and comfortable arrangements to wait in the bar for a single party dinner. After less than 20 minutes I got my table at a great view of the bay and the sunset was great over the bay. Quite rapidly I got my drinks and the possible to order my entree. The first surprise was the long wait I had to get my food. I finished half a bottle of wine before it came on a cold plate and the food itself was more or less cold when it arrived. After 10 -15 minutes the waitress came along to ask about my food. I told I had ordered medium rare and got it well done, no butter, not Parmesan over the vegetables as promised. She took it out and 20 minutes later I got a new plate. The steak was at this time rather medium than rare. Well I accepted it and realized the the chef took it's revenge by using black pepper. I was hungry and that was good. After another 30-40 minutes I could order coffee and pie. The waitress got my new freshly brewed coffee and a nice piece of pie. After another long wait I asked for the check and a refill. She had make new coffee and again it happens. It was so bad coffee. Instant and cold water!!! I paid and left with a weird feeling of discomfort. The waitress tried to do the best and she worked hard to get the job done but they seemed to be understaffed at the tables and overstaffed in the bar. The have spectacular view but the organisation of the restaurant is bad. What I bad a manager of the restaurant. Next morning I went to the breakfast room to test the breakfast. Here I was meet with a great continental or buffet. The service was more than good. I guess the Restaurant Manger was home sleeping........ I am surprised over how bad a restaurant can be when it is situated so well.

You are quite far from the crowed centre but enought close to reach what you want easily. We enjoyed here in special as it was cleaned. Beautiful view on the bay and goog breakfast . Right price and Free wifi

Looking through the pictures online, we were excited to stay in a nice hotel on the bay. What we got was the backdrop for a 70s cheap porno. For almost $250 I would expect the room to be at least one of the nice updated ones that the website offered

Beautiful rooms with a view of the bay. Very nice pool. Located between the ocean and Route I-95. Wonderful on-site restaurant. Shuckers restaurant offers pub style food. You sit on the patio, sip your drink, and watch the boats pull in and dock just feet away.

Chose this hotel due to location and price. Am from the UK and this is not a hotel more of a motel. This was the 3rd hotel we stayed in and was the worst. Reception was not helpful, said there was no public transport from hotel and had to drive. Though there is a bus stop outside the hotel. Reception area is modern and clean. Dirty smelly carpet on the landings, rooms smelt due to carpet. No main light in room, just loads of lamps. Room seemed to be quite noisy with the fridge in. This hotel is simply for showering and sleeping that's it. Rooms are very old fashioned. Pros- views are amazing.

De hotel with beautiful view from the swimming pool to the bay.. friendly reception .. the room was big, nice with very cold AC .. microwave and more bigger than mini bar in the room... parking place is very big for $10 a day.. very close to miami beach.. beautiful sunset behind the swimming pool and the restaurant with nice food. For sure we will come but to another room view to the bay or with balcony..We stayed for 8 days there and at 24 July was my Birthday to celebrate

As previously mentioned in reviews the reception area is lovely and modern, the staff so polite and friendly. The views from the pool (rather small) are spectacular I just wish you could get direct access to the bar. Some of the boats that turned up to stop there are ridiculously big so our son loved that. Unfortunately once you went to the room the signs of an old style hotel in need of some tlc became apparent. 1. The lift is slow and very hot, our son took great delight in reminding us of the 20 seconds the lift took to open once it reached the 5th floor. 2. The rooms are compact which is fine but the air con was not up to the job and so the bed by the window was freezing but the rest of the room had no air and was very warm. 3. The fan in the bathroom didn't work so when added to the air con not working well meant that you couldn't stay in there long. Overall we loved the location and a 5 mom walk across the bridge allowed us to catch the free trolley bus into Miami Beach. $10 parking per night!

I made reservations at another smaller hotel in the area. When we arrived the hotel said they did not have our reservation, even though I had a confirmation number and they had billed me for the first night's stay in advance. Since they did not have any more rooms available, my child and I were left without a hotel room! I called and talked to Alexis at this hotel, and she was amazing! She didn't charge me a high amount for last minute arrival, and booked us in a room with a beautiful view. When we arrived both Alexis and Chris went out of their way to make our horrible afternoon a better experience! You don't see this type of customer service anymore!!

Entrance of the hotel is nice and modern and i had high hopes for the rooms also. Unfortunately it did not live up to expectation- room was clean, but very tired. Balcony door was a nightmare to open and close, and very little day light (opposite a high rise building). Staff were very warm and friendly on arrival, however they did not want to answer any further questions beyond that first interaction. A deposit was taken from the card i held the room on AND my card i presented at check in. At no point was i advised of the double charge, or else i would have remained with the original. When i asked reception why they requested the money twice, i got very vague answers and a stroppy attitude. Needless to say calling my bank to release the funds back to me was the last thing i wanted to be doing on holiday, and after a 10 hour flight. Location is OK- basically thank god for uber pool. This saved us substantially on taxi costs to the 'touristy' areas of the city. Time to places like bayside is roughly 20-30 mins. Thankfully we only stayed here for 3 nights and it was a stop en route to another location. I wouldn't personally recommend this hotel for tourists looking to visit and experience Miami. I have been lucky enough to visit Miami a number of times and there are definitely better hotels/ locations to choose from!

I recently stayed here in a suite with a group of friends. The room was clean and about what you would expect from a three-star hotel. The staff was friendly and able to answer most of the questions I had about the area. Overall, this is a good option. It is cheaper than a lot of the hotels in the area and it's close enough to South Beach that you can access with a fairly cheap Uber ride.

We stayed 1 night here on our way to Key West, we arrived before the check in time but that wasn't a problem as the room ready. It was big room and the bed large was very comfy. We were in the block above the restaurant which had a great view over looking the bay. We used the pool which was a good size and not busy. Plenty of sun beds for relaxing. There is a $10 per night parking charge which I thought was reasonable for the location.

I find this hotel to be great value for the Miami area. We had a great view of the bay when dining or in the pool area. The food was nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. My family of 5 had a comfortable stay.

A nice place to stay. Good views of the bay from the room. Good check in and check out with a pleasant stay. Staff all good apart from one miserable older gentleman with glasses and gray hair. He really needs to cheer up. I am normally harsh with my feedback and receive horrible return comments from the management of the establishments reviewed who read them and they don't read the content and use it to fix the issues noted. This time no need, the stay was good value for money. Just fix the miserable old man with gray (he's the one smoking all the time!!!) working there and you have a really good place which is well worth a stay.

Have stayed at this hotel twice over the last couple of months while traveling on personal business. Ayram and Alexis at the front desk were both very nice and did their best to accomodate me. I am a Diamond member, so the only real upgrade is a Bayview room, but I had to request the upgrade as one was not offered. The only problem with the bayview rooms is that they overlook the back deck of the hotel restaurant Shuckers. if you plan on keeping the sliding doors open, there is a lot of noise from the restaurant music and patrons until the bar closes at 2am. Parking in the main hotel lot is almost impossible after 5pm. The restaurant draws a daily happy hour and dinner crowd from outside the hotel and unless you get lucky, you have to park in the adjacent lot next door, which can be inconvenient if you have bags or luggage you want to bring up to your room. Rooms are clean and nice size, but coffee machines in the room use pods and the coffee is not very good. They should upgrade to Kcup machines. Free coffee in the lobby is worse as it comes from a machine that appears to make instant coffee on-demand. Very few stores and restaurants in the near vicinity, so you are limited to Shuckers.

We stayed overnight here after arriving back from a cruise. We arrived early before check in, but the staff was super nice and accomodating and allowed us to store our luggage and spend the day by the pool hours before our room was ready. We enjoyed a nice lunch at Shuckers as well and enjoyed the views. The area around the hotel is just ok and not overly great, but for an overnight stay it worked well. We did get a Lyft to North Miami beach and enjoyed going there. We also got one to the airport. There are tons of Lyft rides available in Miami. We had a rental car reserved but ended up cancelling and did the Lyft rides for everything and they worked out great and was less than the rental car. The room in the hotel is accessed from the outside. The room itself was clean and comfortable with modern touches. While the area makes me take off one star (it's not bad, it's just not the most beautiful area of Miami) we liked that is was clean, quiet, friendly and non-partying place. The pool was nice and quiet too which was a very welcome thing after the loud music at the hotel in South Miami Beach and from the cruise. We could finally sit and read by the pool! I would recommend staying here if you want a stop after a cruise before you head to the airport.

I was there June 4-7. The room was nice and clear and house keeping was very consistent. The restaurant sever SARAH was great and the food was great. Upon check out I received a receipt I don't owe any money then today 06/10 I wake up and my card is being charged again from them . I called to in form hotel and the front desk couldn't figure out why my card was being charged and was not whiling to ask for assistance when I asked her to look into it . I ask to speak to the manager and she was still saying she didn't know why.... unprofessional . If you're big on customer service DONT STAY HERE , if it's just for the pool , view of the bay & friendly servers from a restaurant that's not apart of the hotel then stay.... hotels should have great customer service to make the stay better for PAYING customers

Avoid staying here if possible. Lacks cleanliness, parking fees, Terrible Food, and NO WIFI. At first sight it didn't seem too bad. Although the room could use a good cleaning and common areas as well… It was ok. …….It got worse as the day progressed. Onsite Restaurant prepares food in a separate building across parking lot and carries the food over to the restaurant. Grouper and Mahi were super dry! Fries were hard as a rock. Unable to eat them. Food Over cooked. Upon checkin, stressed the need for WIFI, Staff assured us WIFI available and provided log on info. After a long day, terrible meal, dip in the pool (needs attention). Bathed and ready to use wifi to finish some work. NO WIFI, checked for connection issues in room, noticed the box behind the bed was not on at all. Behind the bed was absolutely filthy with a multi outlet power strip with dust all over it and in the outlets! Called the front desk only to be told the WIFI was out and only available in the lobby. I discovered the WIFI has been out for DAYS not just that Day! The staff told a lie at checkin. Terrible experience. Only thing the front desk offered to do was move us closer to Lobby. Really???? Who wants to move late in the evening and who knows the condition of the next room??? DO not stay here! Take my advice.

Decent price/performance...rooms are spacious and in good condition, breakfast (Russian style buffet) is nice! Shuckers (bar) is great for afternoon drinks and provides sufficient screens for all sport lovers...the best thing and biggest asset of BW is definitely personnel, kind and willing to assist in every way. Would recommend!

I selected the Best Western on the Bay for its location. I was traveling with 2 exchange students that wanted to see Miami for a couple of days. The hotel is centrally located to see S. Beach, Wynwood walls area, Hollywood beach and more. The onsite restaurant is quite nice. Lovely waterfront dining with good food and service. It rooms have been nicely renovated. The bathroom is small but clean. Staff was polite and friendly. I had a car so transportation was not an issue. I felt safe in this area as a single women traveling with teenagers. That is a big concern for me when I travel. I would stay here again without question.

This trip was awesome! Best Western on the Bay Inn and Marina was very clean and smelled really good every day, all day. Chris and Oscar were the best and made sure they took car of us despite some minor issues. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

ok i was visiting in march.....unfortunately i fell ill. i was lucky enough to have Kim as my housekeeping supervisor.....She went above and beyond to make me fell better, there should be more people in the hospitalities business like Kim!!!!

The room was immaculate, the front desk staff couldn't have been more helpful and the pool was really nice. The hotel is right on the bay/marina where you can take a stroll to look at the moored boats. Pleasant and relaxing place to stay. Shucker's Restaurant is on site.

Reasonable Price with good accommodation. Please ask for 3 rd Floor for sea view. Easy to explore many attraction areas in Miami. GasStation, Supermarket, Subway.......within 5-10 min by foot. Highly recommended

The hotel was fantastically located on a beautiful bay. Great swimming pool and loved shuckers next door, ideal if you're with kids and just want take out one night (we ate there a few times). Supermarkets a short walk away and if you fancy an Italian meal, I couldn't recommend the Oggi ristorante- we had an excellent meal there! South Beach is a short drive away but buses do also stop outside the hotel. If I were to return to Miami, I'd definitely book this hotel again.

We have stayed here now for I believe 4/5 plus years and have had an great experience every time we go. Clean, Friendly, always someone to help you. Krystal and Oscar at the counter to help with your room check in you can't ask for anyone better these two are the best!! They have a breakfast buffet that is soo very good! Shuckers resturant right on the sight that has outstanding food! Patio seating so you can be right on the water if you wish or under the canopy and watcy what ever TV you wish. D'Bella resturant across the street is by far one of the best pizza and pasta places around!!

I was obviously wearing rose colored glasses when I looked at the photo and glanced at reviews for this hotel. Waterside location aside, it is one of the most depressing buildings I have entered in the last 10 years and was even a bit concerned for my safety in regards to the open air quality and easy access to the hallways from which the rooms are entered. Good points - very friendly staff at front desk and adjacent bar overlooking the bay. And very large rooms. Bad point - extremely dark unless you open the sliding glass door curtains overlooking the parking lot. Drabby furnishing. Very small bathrooms and so so water pressure. Lumpy pillows though an overabundance of them. Worst of all, none of the electric sockets in the room would hold the plug tight enough to charge a device. The only operable plug was in the bathroom. Beds were comfortable and as far as I could tell, linens clean.

The hotel is far from any restaurants or shops. The pool is not heated enough so cold in March and for the price I would expect more. Very strong smell in the room, likely some cleaning product and air conditioner didn't work, couldn't actually turn it down, so had to turn it off. Had the maintenance guy come and he couldn't figure it out. I think you can find a much better place for the price.

This hotel is a bit north of Miami though very easy accessible! It has a beautiful, incredible views of the bay. The rooms are spacious and up-to-date. Free parking but they discontinued the complimentary breakfast that Best Western is known for. All in all, you can't go wrong with this hotel!

Had everything we needed. Scenic location. Dining and lounge on site. Great professional staff. We highly recommend the cruise package. Every thing went smoothly once we were there. If we ever go out of the Port of Miami again, We hope this place is available. No need to look anywhere else.

Our room was on the third floor with bay views. I watched the sun set with a cocktail in my hand the night we stayed. Went to shuckers for food and drink great area. room was clean and all the amenities were present

For my first time in Miami this was a great place to stay and the price range was fair. My room was a king size single room and it was beautiful and clean. Only thing the bathrooms can be a bit small other than that everything in this hotel won't disappoint. To top it off it's only about a 15 minute walk from the trolley stop which is free transportation to south beach. If your coming with family or for business it's a friendly hotel for everyone.

I checked in at 11am and the front desk was extremely welcoming and showed me to my room, which not only had an outstanding view of the bay and city, but was luxurious in its own right. Cleanest sheets I've ever seen in a hotel; if your scared of bad hotel experiences, the Best Western On The Bay Inn is the one for you. Best hotel in Miami by far.

Lovely hotel with great water views. Great stopover on our way passing through Miami area. Enjoyed waterfront dining. Pale blue and white decor in main lobby was especially tasteful. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Our room had a beautiful view, and the hotel was in an excellent location.The restaurant, Shuckers, located on the premises was AWESOME . The hotel's staff was very attentive and quick to remedy any questions or issues we had.

The hotel was centrally located and right on the bay. Krystle at the front desk was amazing. We had a pool view but ask for a room overlooking the water, better views and more light in the room. Schukers resturant was amazing, good food, great people and outside with nice breezes and wonderful scenery. Would return again

Visiting from Scotland had just been to NYC (left them in their first snow) after a long day travelling we were more than delighted to have been booked in this hotel. Rooms excellent clean tidy and more than enough room for 2 girls. Staff all friendly and helpful breakfast amazing and set us up for the day, easy to get to main Miami by bus - fallen in love with Miami will defo be back. Food, drinks and helpfulness of staff in separate restauant was first class even after a long day and getting something to eat at 11 pm. Wish it hadn't been December and we would have tried the pool too!

This hotel has beautiful view to the bay and marina. The front desk staff was very accommodating. Pros: awesome views, great restaurants within its property and rooms are a decent size. Con: Rooms don't offer waters and there isn't breakfast. Parking fee of $10 per day.

My family of 3 stayed here the night before out Disney Cruise. The staff were all very friendly and so helpful!! We arrived about Noon and our room was not yet ready. But eh front desk staff took or luggage and locked it away while we enjoyed lunch on the patio at Shuckers.The food was good but a bit pricey. Our room was ready by 1 and we were glad to sit down as we had been up since 5am. The room was small but was clean & quiet. The outdoor pool area was lovely with lots of chairs and umbrellas. We booked this location in hopes the pool would keep our 7 year old happy for this one day lay-over but unfortunately the pool was freezing! I guess this is normal in January in Miami. The front desk staff was so helpful providing us with extra towels and pillows. They even helped me set up an Uber account to order our ride to the ship on Sunday morning!! This hotel was a good value and the staff meke it worthwhile!

the hotel was clean. the staff that checked us in were very polite. the rooms were good size. the beds were awesome. they were so comfortable. pillows were good also. the pool area was very nice. I would recommend this place. there were only 2 things that I found strange for a best western hotel(first we had a 100.00 hold put on our account until we left, I have never had that before and we even prepaid for the stay. second was breakfast, this is the only place that I have been to that did not offer a free breakfast. we had to pay for it.) they were very helpful with getting us a ride to the port.the pictures on the website are true

We stayed here for two nights in January. We arrived in the evening and on check in there was confusion that there card machine was broke. I advised them they had already charged for one night... they held another night and didn't get released from my card for over a week and a half. The room was tiny and asked for a travel crib/cot and they didn't have one either. We went down to the restaurant as we were tired and hungry and it was freezing, and also had a baby with us. The restaurant was freezing and I asked the girl if there was anywhere warmer to sit and there was a wind blowing where she was sitting us. She responded very rude and bluntly and said no, put the menus on the table and walked away. We left as it was just top cold to sit there with a baby and the waitress threw her hands up in the air. Would definitely not return to this hotel again!!!!

I came to this hotel for a few days. I brought two bracelets and they were stolen from my room. I told the hotel supervisor and they didn't do anything. Don't stay in this hotel. The thief went through all of my suitcase.

I stayed at The Best Western in Miami to Escape the Cold New York winter for my bday. We really enjoyed our stay, rooms and grounds were very clean. Our bed was comfy. Loved that management honored my request for a room with a view and a late check out for no additional charge, because I am a Genius member. Restaurants in walking distance, also Shuckers Oyster bar restaurant right on the premises.There is a bus across the street that will take you to SOBE, SHORT ride. Our Overall stay was great. Front desk staff Alexis was very helpful and kind. We are booking here again in May for our upcoming Cruise leaving from the Port of Miami.

Our Company stayed here for one night. After we left we were charged $150. My wife called and they told us someone stole a radio out of one of the rooms. Well, no one in our group stole a radio:). Do people still use radios? $150 radio really??? Anyway we told them we didn't steal the radio. Long story short she has called over and over, and emailed. Took the manager a week to respond by email, no phone call. Anyway they are not going to take the charge off. I just can't understand an International hotel chain that would treat a costumer like this! We stay in hotels 100s of days a year. Never seen anything so crazy! Over a radio? You are going to do this to a customer. My wife has tried to contact many people to resolve the problem. So now we are wondering is it this hotel only or the whole chain. We will never stay with best western again and will make sure to let all of our other friends who travel full time to stay away from best western.

We visited Miami for couple days we wanted to stay in an area not too busy so we chose this hotel. The location is very convenient a short drive to Miami Beach and Art Deco area. The staff were extremely nice and helpful, from the reception staff to the cleaning team, we've been always greeted with a smile which make a different especially when you have small children. when we arrived my son was a bit tiered and cranky, without even asking the reception lady went out of her way to make the kid happy she gave him a bottle of bubbles to play with my kids were so happy about the gift and I was impressed how kind and attentive the reception staff was. I would highly recommend this place for family with kids, nice warm pool, good location and above all great and friendly staff.

I have stayed at a number of hotels in the past but this location best Western on the bay marina is by far a five-star resort rooms are very large accommodating cozy bed was clean well organized the entire staff were welcoming with smile‘s accommodating on early reservations. I did say that I was going to mention something for them that they are still waiting for their plaque from TripAdvisor so they Can advertise their five star achievements their trip advisor Thank you very much for a wonderful experience Thank you Oscar and all the staff at the front desk 100% completely satisfied

Great value for the money. The rooms were spacious, clean and updated. The staff very nice and friendly and the cleaners came and cleaned our room every day and gave us new towels and schampo etc. The breakfast was fresh and the staff were working hard for their money, but it was a little too expensive, $16 for adults and $10 for children and the parking wasn't included in the price. Al thought we had the best experience at Best Western!

North Bay Village is a great Miami location. Best Western on the Bay is right on the water, offering outstanding views. Shuckers Restaurant / Bar offers a variety of well prepared local favorites along with the usual fare. Nothing beats dining or imbibing on the deck at Shuckers. The hotel has a very nicely updated ala carte breakfast selection, featuring made to order omelettes. Staff is professional and courteous. Facility is clean and modern.

This is a beautiful place yo stay and enjoy. Near of the sea and with an amazing team. Breakfast was delicious and super nice stuff. The parking is secure and the bar is the best ever to eat fish. An small hotel but their employees do it great!!!!

My family consisting of 2 adult children and myself have been staying at this hotel for over 2 months now. Unfortunately the stay was required due to my wife being hospitalized close by. We originally chose this hotel due to their very reasonable rates. We're we lucky! The entire staff, especially Krystal at the front desk have been friendly, helpful, and professional. The room is always spotless clean, and any requests we have had were attended to immediately. I can not say enough good things about this hotel. The pool is wonderful, the breakfast delicious, the view of the bay and skyline very nice- what more could you ask for?

The girls on the front desk were amazing. All of them were fabulous to deal with - Alexis, Claudia, Eva and Kristal. They were extremely helpful and went out of their way to be of assistance. Hotel is beautifully located right on the causeway. It is an older property but we had a renovated room with a balcony which was wonderful. They do their best to keep everything clean and tidy. The facilities were excellent. Would love to stay again when we are in the area!

Nice hotel near the beach, and it's by the ocean with nice view. There is a pool inside, which is nice too. One con is there is no complimentary breakfast as other best western hotels, and the buffet breakfast there costs $16 per person. There is a $10 parking.

Great location on the JFK Causeway. Rooms adequate size for business travel. Place was clean with friendly staff. An attached restaurant, Shuckers, served an excellent lunch and had had a great view of the bay.

When just came back from a 5 night stay in this hotsl. First, I want to start by saying that the staff is absolutely wonderful. Very friendly and always willing to help. Management should be proud of their team. The hotel itself is "ok". Let me explain... Because of the price point (lower than what you find on the beach), it seems to attract a different crowd (or maybe we were unlucky). The pool area always seemed to be full of kids (12 to 15 kids). Kids being kids, it was loud and we are a couple who tend to go for more quiet hotels. When we arrived, the room was freezing cold. They had to relocate us as the ac was malfunctioning. When they relocated us, we lost our balcony. With this being said, they did compensate with free parking and breakfast for one day, so that was appreciated. The location is a 10 minute drive from the beach. If you plan on staying here, you NEED to have a car as there is nothing surrounding the hotel (unless you plan on taking the bus). With this being said, there is one of the best restaurant in miami located on the premises called Shuckera. Great food, the best view and the prices are reasonable.The rooms also have a mini fridge and micriwave, which was nice. All in all, we were thrown off by having to be relocated as well as the crowd gathered at the pool. If you can, try to have a room with a balcony overlooking the view in the new section, which is fantastic.

The hotel was excellent. The views of the water was beautiful. Nice place and we will stay again. Easy check in and check out. Overall a very nice facility and great location to Miami. I would recommend.

Our stay at Best Western was absolutely worth the money. We're a family of 4 that stayed here and found a pretty amazing deal on Expedia for the price as compared to some of the other similar properties in the vicinity. The hotel is situated at a peaceful spot almost equidistant from the happening spots of the South Beach as well as Downtown Bayside area. It takes about half an hour to reach either of these places by car or by the buses. The hotel has a decent pool and an amazing restaurant by the name of Shuckers on the property. The rooms are decent sized and the hotel area is pretty open with scenic views of the bay. The hotel staff was really friendly, especially Eva and Oscar, who went out of their ways to give us an upgrade when we found the size of the room initially alloted to us pretty small. Really appreciate the hospitality and the fact that they were accommodating even when they didn't have to. Overall, a great experience and would to love to recommend this place to everyone.

Good location, nice view poolside. No problem parking. Friendly, cooperative staff. Small room, bathroom problematic small (really not OK). Smoking allowed poolside and in front of rooms which is very unfriendly to other guests

I have stayed here several times and always a good experience. The last visit, I asked in the morning to cancel that days stay as my wife was feeling sick, and the woman at the desk said "no, problem, I sure hope your wife feels better".

We stayed at this hotel for one night before leaving on a cruise. We arrived early and our room wasn't ready, so we walked around the beautiful grounds while we waited on our room, which was ready fairly quickly. We had a waterfront room, which was awesome! The room was big, with a refrigerator and microwave. Had a nice size balcony, with beautiful water views. There is a shuckers restaurant on site, which suited our needs as we had drinks, good food, and plenty of football to watch on numerous tv's. The hotel was clean and in a safe area, and the price was much cheaper then all the others we checked. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel location is good. The views over the water and the pool are good. Especially good to have a car park. The reception foyer is bright and clean and welcoming. Computers for guest use, coffee machine, a shop and lots of chairs and information about the area. Staff were pleasant on booking in. The hotel itself is dated concrete which is hard to make look attractive. Some of the rooms are being redecorated. Wasn't sure if ours had been done. Our room was spacious and clean with a small balcony. Comfortable bed. Large attractive pool with plenty of seating around. The onsite restaurant bar is a plus. This was lively, with a happy hour on drinks and appetizers. Good crowd, attentive servers and good variety of food and cocktails. Breakfast at $16 including tax and tip was very good value. All you can eat - and some ate huge portions!! Kati our server was a real plus. She looked after everyone exceptionally well. Would return to this hotel. Would stay here again.

Check in late, forgot items, needed menus, didn't know area. Front desk personnel were so accommodating and friendly. Beautiful setting on the Marina. Room was clean and polished. great amenities too.

Stayed one night before cruise. Close to parking. Staff great. No breakfast included but buffet for $16. Restaurant pricey but very busy as it,s on the beach. Old hotel could use some modernizing but was clean.

I stayed in a water-view room, so I can say that it is the most wonderful thing to wake up in the morning to that view. Sit on the balcony and watch the boats go by and be at peace. The rooms are clean and the staff very professional.

Hotel is adequate. Much appreciated having a room with a balcony. I wouldn't have enjoyed my stay had I not had that. The food at the restaurant was very good. Service was a little slow. Front desk staff was a little short and not very accommodating or at least didn't take the time to explain why they couldn't help us out with a late room cleaning or a late check out.

Don't plan on staying in the bar til close because they'll start kicking you out early! The staff is extremely vocal (right outstanding de the door). The lobby doesn't match the accommodations. Rooms weren't ugly by any means but the property needs some upkeep. Decent value for the price

The food service including management chef and servers was extremely good. As head of dining Crystal definitely knows her work and does it with extreme kindness and professionalism. Cody, too, is a wonderful for Food Service employee. Eat here if you stay at the hotel. A little noisy due to the bar staying open until 1:30 a.m.

I was tasked by my company to travel to Miami for Hurricane Irma relief work. I knew right away that I would be staying at the Best Western. On my travel there they called doing for me they were still having power outages problems with the internet and problems with the elevator but I was okay with that and wanting to stay with them. My one-week trip ended up staying an entire month, as I then had to also start working in Hurricane Maria relief. The staff was very patient with my constant packages being delivered. They're situated right on the bay between Florida and Miami Beach with beautiful scenery and views the restaurant was great to eat at I just wish the menu had more options. I was very pleased with my stay especially considering the circumstances and the fact that they had just came through a hurricane.

The place was clean. Room is small. Nice view of the bay but has a remodeled motel feeling. Shuchers restaurant is really nice and probably the best thing about the hotel. It's a little pricey but worth it. Best mango margarita I've ever had! It's a must try.

First off, I was upgraded from a regular room to a bay front room with a balcony. That was awesome. It made the time I spent relaxing in the room much more enjoyable. The room was clean and looked like it was recently renovated. Didn't try to breakfast or restaurant. Wifi worked really well. They charge $10/night for parking, but it was still cheaper overall than almost any other hotel.

This was our 18th anniversary and we chose to come back to Miami for our 3rd visit. We stayed at the Best Western again because we love the location. It has a great sportsbar / indoor/outdoors restaurant (Shuckers). It satisfies my husband and myself being right off the bay and prices aren't bad and food is great. I want to say thank you to the staff for the wonderful handwritten note and complimentary breakfast!!! The new breakfast buffet kitchen was a sweet surprise.

I stayed there a couple weeks ago for three nights, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised at the accommodations and friendly staff! At first I was skeptical, as I emailed about using two gift cards for my stay with no response. When I arrived I was happily greeted. However was told that I would have to speak with Crystal to apply the cards the following day, that she was the only one able to do that. I was thinking that it was going to be a big hassle and possible only able to use one etc. So the following morning, I made my way to the front desk to see Crystal and all I said was "I checked in yesterday and I wanted to use these two cards", she responded right away with no problem whatsoever and asked what room I was in. Transaction took less than a minute! The hotel is nicely situated on a causeway away from the tourists and Ocean Drive area. The hotel lobby was decent size, clean, has a coffee station, tvs and small gift shop (which I needed a bottle/wine opener and usb cable, which they had both)! Taking an Uber was only about $10-15 one way to some of the big hotels and areas in Miami, such as Fontainbleau, Collins Ave, Lincoln Ave, which I spent alot of time. They have a pool area which was clean and a restaurant/bar with great views of the bay and alot of locals hanging out. The restaurant has a friendly staff, food was reasonably priced with drink and food specials every night with great views of the bay! The rooms were nice and updated, as well as very clean. You do enter from the outside, as opposed to a lobby/indoor hallways, etc. Included small one cup coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave as well, tv, wardrobe closet, and safe. If you are looking for somewhere away from the tourists, but easy to travel to and from the happening places, this is a great place to stay! ALL the staff I interacted with were friendly, professional! Thank you and see you soon!

Back in May I booked a 5 day Carnival Cruise leaving Miami on Sept 18 for the week. I had also booked my airfare with a partial vacation staying at an oceanfront hotel in Miami. While there is a lot I could say about Carnival posting misleading cancellations on facebook and a Wyndham hotel not knowing if their hotel is still standing or not, Best Western on the Bay assured me that their hotel was up and running and that if I needed to cancel my reservation all the way up to my arrival, I could do it. That is why they are getting 5 stars from me. So many people let me down on this vacation. Best Western came to the rescue and kept me from sleeping on the floor at the airport for 2 days! Forever grateful!

The view from the pool and the pool area are the only reason for the 3 stars. The room was awful, not refurbished as per all the photographs on every website. The carpet was all frayed, the room was very shabby.

Eva and Claudia has assisted me with the most amazing Professionalism that I have ever received from any hotel here in Miami. The service, professionalism, and the discipline that carry here is amazing. They have served me as a client with not only a smile but you can tell they actually care on how my visit was for the night. I called several times and they were really nice every time I got either or on the phone and their patience with me was amazing being that I called more then a handful of times. They made sure I felt comfortable staying here and assisted me by making sure I know where things are around the hotel. I really appreciated being taken care of by these two women as a visitor. Whenever I come to Miami I'm making sure this is the place I will stay. Thank you Eva and Claudia !

good place to spend time in Miami. clean and good rooms, fun pool, nice view of the bay. rooms have been renovated. South Beach only 20 minutes away, haul over beach likewise. Paid parking ($10/night) was a surprise, breakfast rather expensive ($16 pp), but otherwise very satisfied.

For me and my wife this hotel had just been great both times we stayed here. Rember to add breakfast. This one has been great and a good start on the day. The gym is small, but still very good. The equipment in the gym work very well. The people working here have been very kind to us. The Chucker bar and grill is also a great place with 12 different draft beers and lots of people. This is located by the sea under the hotel. Swimmingpool is nice and quite big. Sunbeds are good and the staff is great. So for the short version, this is just a great hotel that give you value for your money.

We enjoy our stay. Friendly staff all the time; seems they are well trained to make your stay real pleasant. Location is really good Breakfast with plenty of sea view was nice. Quiet room We will come back .

Absoutely loved this hotel! right on the waters edge and our room was fantastic with a balcony and views. The staff are excellent, the lady in the breakfast room was gorgeous, every bit worth the money to pay for the range of foodavialable and made to order eggs right in front of you! Front desk were also excellent! fantastic customer service and very impressed with the rates - great value!! OH! and onsite parking!!!! will stay again - Thankyou!

Hotel is in reform, thus some uncomfortable. A/C in the room did not work properly (temperature was set on 60` F when we arrived and felt like 78` F) Mattress with hole in the middle and pillows too higth. No enough towels for the pool, thus I did not receive towel. Beautiful marina and Restaurant view

My daughter and I stayed here for a night, and it was a really nice stay. The view from the pool was beautiful. The rooms and lobby was clean and modern looking. All the staff members were very friendly.

Stay for 2 nights and was pleased with the stay!!! The location and the clean area was perfect!! One incident happened where my daughter burned her hand with coffee at the lobby and Claudia and the housekeeping reacted immediately. Specially, Claudia's excellent customer service was beyond greatness... thank you so much for making me feel you care for my daughter's health. We are coming back!!

Overall we had a great time in Miami. The hotel was a great value and a great location. We enjoyed the weather, beach and restaurants. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. We enjoyed the view and the pool was clean. I would go back to this location.

Close to both beach and city, the personal was excellent. Eva and gloria helped us with everything even A good morning mood! Helped us were to go and How to go there and IF anything was wrong they corrected IT in minutes

The overall experience at this hotel was very pleasant: Our family room was upgraded to a suite with magnificent view of the bay/waterway. Everything was very clean and the hotel has a small but nice pool with palm trees and view of the bay. The hotel staff (reception) was exceptionally friendly. The hotel's location is great to explore Miami and South Beach.

We initially spent one night at the best western since then we would have moved for a few days to Orlando, and what to say ??? ... fantastic ... a view of the bay north bay ... clean room. .. and very friendly staff ... very welcoming girls at the reception especially EVA, CLAUDIA and KIM ... after our short stay in Orlando we could only return to this wonderful hotel, to continue our honeymoon, and Despite the view of the room at the back of the bay, it was all the best ... fantastic pool overlooking the bay, where you can admire a scary scenario ... what else? ... everyone, as always gentle .. The rooms are clean and well-stocked ... the hotel is smelly and cared for in detail ... the staff is courteous as never before seen ... EVA, CLAUDIA and KIM are still grateful for our second stay ... you are really the top .. Thanks thanks thanks ... cristina and emanuele

Stayed for One night. They were remodeling so there was plastic hanging around public spaces. The rooms were very clean and we loved the balcony. The Free WIFI was great. Beds were very comfortable. Updating of the rooms is overdue for the the price paid. The big advantage here is Location Location Location. You are very close to South Beach, Miami, and Bal Harbour which were our destinations. Loved the views of the bay and downtown Miami from the hotel. The pool was nice and there was a restaurant with bayside seating on the premises which was very convenient.

The view of the ocean at this location was picture perfect from the pool and the restaurant. It was definitely worth the price, even though the rooms and curb appeal are a 3 star rating. It was only a 15-20 minute drive to South Beach from the hotel, but the restaurant was very lively throughout the day. NO FREE BREAKFAST for families at this location, but free coffee in the lobby. The STAFF is wonderful.

In seeking inexpensive lodging for a kid-free trip to Miami, we decided on the Best Western in North Bay Village. It is a newly renovated property, with all the amenities one expects from a newer hotel. The refreshing fragrance in the gorgeous lobby made me smile!!!..Every staff member was kind, courteous and attentive to our needs. The servers in the Buena Vista breakfast buffet are among the the BEST in the U.S.!!!..The food was also great!!..At this price point, my greatest concerns are often cleanliness, odors and poor service...This Best Western dispelled those thoughts, demonstrating that excellence can be achieved on a budget....While it is a distance from most of the sights we visited, our daily Uber rides were most reasonable. My only issue was that the television randomly switched channels a few times, and the volume would turn up or down inadvertently. Odd, but who comes to Miami to watch T.V.? We will be back..likely with the kids!!!

My family and I were very impressed with the location, lobby, rooms and staff. Staff was exceptional (Kristal, Ayram & Eva) whatever minor issues we confronted; they rectified ASAP!!! And for that I would recommend this hotel!!!

The staff at this hotel makes the difference. Many went out of their way to make our 2 night stay special. How can you tell the difference between one hotel and any other? The staff. The hotel is on the Bay, offering a water front view & breeze without "beach front" prices. A great value if you are looking for a quiet place to enjoy the view, yet close enough to get to any activity you may want.

We spent one night here before a Bahama cruise. Great value for bay and city view. Free wifi and only $10 to park. Restaurant on site was a plus! Good food and great location in an open air type bar/tropical flare feel restaurant. We didn't stay long enough to enjoy the pool, but the pool looked nice overlooking the bay as well.

My room was large and comfortable. I liked that there was restaurant on the property and that I didn't have to go far for meals. This is my first time staying at a Best Western and I was not disappointed. I will definitely return.

Overall great time and service at check in and out and in between. They gave us free stuff just because it was my bf's birthday. We had a great time, nothing negative to say. Staff goes above and beyond for you with anything you may need.

I have stayed at several BW's since 2009 and this property by FAR is the shining star. BW hotels and staffs have never disappointed me but the staff at this hotel goes WAY beyond expectations in making sure you have the very best experience possible. The grounds are immaculate, the rooms are spacious, the pool is a large free-form with not only plenty of deck-area around the pool itself, but an "upper, second-story deck" which is perfect for adults who don't want to be around little kids when trying to maximize tanning -time in the sun. There is a gym and business-center which sports a bank of work-stations w/printer and even a sundries shop so you don't have to leave the grounds if you forgot your tanning oil or desire a snack. They have an excellent breakfast-restaurant which is located above the open-air sports restaurant The sports restaurant is family-friendly, yet has fantastic seating out on the bay for couples who want to be away from the crowds and noise usually associated with such restaurants. Even the kids-area of the restaurant is strategically located so as to avoid having a quiet lunch or romantic dinner out on the water ruined. The restaurant has invested in misting fans out on the open deck so as to keep dining guests cool even in the heat of Miami's summer months! Lastly, if you brought your boat, they have PLENTY of dock-space and boat slips to tie your yacht or dinghy up to! This is a can't miss property we enjoyed so much on our working-weekend in Miami, that we already booked for our return business-trip later this month! One thing I am certain of, any traveler; be it for business or pleasure will love staying here!

Spent lots of time reading reviews and agonizing over where to stay as a first timer in Miami. Didn't want the craziness of SoBe and needed parking for our rental car. We wanted to be within walking distance to Collins and Lincoln, or so we thought. After realizing that we'd have to pay a fortune to park our rental car and pay high room fees, we decided to look further out and found the Best Western. Good rates and $10 parking. The hotel is trying to update and they've done a good job in the lobby. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was sort of updated - carpet, tile, fixtures, etc. The beds were only full size and semi comfortable. AC blasted loudly all night. Which probably kept us from hearing any outside noise so that was actually ok. There's a restaurant in the hotel on the water side. It's called Shuckers. I'll review it separately but I can tell you not to waste your time and money. Use the free drink coupons from the hotel (you get two for each day) and GTFOOT. The hotel is on the bay which is really cool and makes it centrally located. Uber was $15 down to SoBe. We drove to Mid-Beach one morning. It's around 36th street and scored on street parking. Just have to get there early, which in Miami is anytime before 10:30am lol. We used the pool overlooking the bay. It was great. Just turned the sun chairs around and enjoyed the view of the bay. Facing the other direction wasn't as pleasant. That's all I'm gonna say about that ;) Would we stay there again? Yes. Will we go to Miami again? No.

Great staff, location, rooms, view and everything else you can imagine. Could not have been more satisfied with my stay. I would recommend this place to anyone whether traveling alone or with family and friends. Will definatly be coming back!

Loved the view from the grounds. Outside could still use some sprucing up but they are working on it. The front desk staff was very nice but didn't too much like the $100 refundable incidentals fee. I really wanted to give this place high marks because I love the way the room was set up. But what spoiled the entire stay and the ability to give a good review was the HUGE ROACH that was crawling across the nightstand that I'd just retrieved my phone and other personal items. Uuuggghhh!!! When we checked out the manager asked how our stay was. In response I showed her the picture of what I'd just seen in our room. I'm paying $100 incidentals charge for roaches!!! After paying a lesser charge in more expensive hotels and had very clean environments to rest in (including a pet friendly hotel) they need to make sure they are offering the cleanliness and comfort of the more expensive hotels.

Good location. Just in the border of Miami Beach. Free trolley closed by, Bus stop and Uber everywhere. Nice view from the swimming pool and rooms. Good staff. Good food in the restaurant. The beds are very comfortables.

I booked the bayview balkony rooms and these are very nice and the view is really great. The pool area is also good. Had a great stay. The little Island is a good way to stay in Miami near the Beach. Thank you.

Room was clean. Staff was nice. Had no issues checking in or out. Had a great view of the nearby water from the balcony of the room. Beautiful scenery around the hotel. Only stayed here one night to get some rest before a carnival cruise.

It was a pleasure to stay at this Best Western during our vacation. Enjoyed the restaurant and lounge very much. The view was awesome! The staff was great, very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

This is a budget hotel and it definitely lives up to that. The rooms are small and the bathrooms are TINY. The rooms themselves are clean enough and the housecleaning staff was accommodating. The air conditioning couldn't keep up with the heat, even though it was set at 68° it wouldn't get lower than 74° according to the thermostat. The private balcony is a nice touch and we had great views of a parking lot with the bay in the far distance - but the sliding door leading outside barely opened and involved some muscles to move. The construction is where this hotel really needs to figure things out. They're renovating all the rooms which will be great, however they're doing it at the expense of the guests that are currently staying with them. We were woken up by pounding, loud shouting, and excessive drilling around 8am everyday. I'm sorry but when I'm on vacation I enjoy sleeping in... not so much an option when the ceiling above your head sounds like it's going to cave in any moment. The only redeeming qualities of this hotel are the lobby and pool area as they're nice and well maintained and a large deck on the second floor to hang out. Being next door to Shuckers to grab lunch or dinner is an added perk. I suppose this is what to expect for around $110 per night in this area, where most hotels charge resort fees and have higher rates. Overall, after staying here multiple times over the past few years, they seem to be trying to improve the aesthetic quality but that can't quite fix the numerous underlying issues.

not at the heart of Mami, but within a very short car trip to Miami Beach and the city. The buildings are nothing fancy. we stayed twice in the building overlooking the parking lot which the entrance to it is either through the restaurant smell or through the other side with some other stinky odor. The hotel is just going under renovation (which I'm not sure mentioned during the reservation process) which adds to the unpleasant entrance. we reserved twice two rooms well ahead, but for some reason weren't given rooms with a connecting room. Although our room (359) has a connecting door to 358, and the other room we got was 360. They charge 10$ per night for parking. The restaurant is very expensive, around 20$ (16 for buffet +4$ for coffee + taxes). The rooms are on the smaller side of the standard we got used to in the US. The staff is very polite and cheerful and very happy to help and provide information. However, two problems reported but were not fixed. All in all, next time to Miami this BW will not be the 1st on our list.

I recently was scheduled to stay for one week at the Best Western - currently under construction in one of their two buildings. I arrived later in the day on my first day so basically checked in and went to bed. When I woke up on the second day, I walked into the bathroom, turned on the light and the movement on the counter was just incredible!! Cockroaches racing around!! I immediately called the front desk and was told someone would be up after 7 am (this was about 6:30 am) and also the manager would be in at 7 am. I walked over to the dresser and opened a drawer and again roaches - they were crawling in my clothes. So I packed up and went downstairs, talking to the very nice man at the front desk. He was totally understanding, offered me another room, which I declined, and I checked out. It was a real disappointment as I was looking forward to being on the beach and at the pool (which had been remodeled).

This hotel is a very good value with a great location. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. There is an onsite restaurant, Shucker's, with a beautiful waterfront view. We've have stayed here several times, as it's very close to family, and as a home base to downtown Miami.

the gym was present but it was closed due to renovation (when you write your offer you should have written the gym is closed!!). This is a problem for me. I wanted hotel, pool and a gym. Rooms are very clean and tidy, the next door restaurant is very good, the breakfast is very good (you have to pay extra).

First and last time we will stay at a Best Western! First the good, there is a restaurant onsite for breakfast which would be convenient for most but we didn't visit because we decided to drive to Denny's as we didn't want to encounter anymore disappointments. Now the issues, these rooms are not clean by any means! Dusty lampshades and lightning fixtures, awful worn furniture and inadequate towels that are so hard from wash I wouldn't even use them on a puppy. The beds were decent (for max 2 nights) but pillows are awful. We were on the first floor facing the parking lot and I really didn't feel safe there. Bathroom was so small, only 1 person can be in there at a time, and the door is so close to the bed, you could literally fall of the bed and hit your head or feet on something in the bathroom. Don't be fool by being on the marina almost all rooms face the street or parking lot. I am also perplexed as to why there is a charge for parking when the parking lot is right behind the building of the hotel and limited so it should be an added value for guest considering there is no other selling point to this hotel. We stayed out all day and could not wait to get on our cruise to get away from this hotel. Please look elsewhere, consider a Hampton Inn, Courtyard or Homewood and pay the extra per night even though you may be on a budget the way we were for this trip, you will not get any value for your money.

Stoped over in Miami and decided to stay here, the hotel was under renovation which did not help to up the image. Rooms are pretty old and certainly need an update. Not much else going for this hotel apart from the restaurant next door.

HORRIBLE- DO NOT STAY HERE. Dated decor- popcorn ceiling. Water pressure is awful in shower. You pay for parking but there wasn't any parking available. Had to get 3 keys before one of them worked. Speaking of keys, it's so outdated that the safe in the room is not electronic- it uses an actual key. Also, my room was above Shuckers bar and there was music blasting from the bar into my room until 2 AM. And the air conditioner/ heater smelled when turned on. There was also construction so the lobby consisted of a closet turned into an office. Disappointed. Would NEVER stay here again even for 1 night.

This was affordable. I was happy to see the updating and renovations. My room was clean and had a great view of the Bay. Miami is not my favorite place to stay because of the density of the area. However, I felt the hotel is a good price and updated.

Great location right on the bay. Unfortunately they were renovating the swimming pool and the building with the bay view rooms during my stay. At check-in they gave us free parking during our stay for the inconvenience. Very friendly & helpful stuff. Room was dated, but clean and comfortable. Refrigerator & microwave both in working order, free wifi with good signal. Room had a great sitting area great for relaxing & reading or doing a little work. Free breakfast had a nice selection; scrambled eggs, sausage, make your own waffles, assorted fresh fruits & yogurts. There were also cold cereals, muffins and bagels. Coffee and fruit infused water were available 24/7. Ample seating or you could take back to the room. Great bar/restaurant onsite, Italian restaurant with a piano bar across the street. Nice place to relax & enjoy South Florida!

The Hotel is fantastic there are educated customers and very polite. Also there are a beautiful view to river. The room there are good beds, tv and assistance when necessary. The parking and coffee break is amazing.

Really a beautiful location. The bay view is to die for. It is fairly expensive for a Best Western. The staff is great. If you stay in the building with no view, the rooms serm older and less well maintained. You can't get the room with the bay view with your best Western rewards points. That really pissed me off.

While on vacation recently in Key West, my wife had a very serious medical issue which required her to be taken to Mt Sanai Hospital. After staying in a over priced place by the airport that gouged the daylights out of me I found this property. Initially the receptionist was able to get me booked for just one night, but after explaining my situation the next morning they made accommodations for me. I had to move once or twice, but I was able to stay closer to the hospital. Every evening when I came in the staff always asked about my wife. Every morning as I was going out they inquired. The property is older but well maintained , they were actually in the middle of a renovation to one of the buildings while I was there. The pool is nice and clean. The onsite restaurant serves decent food and is priced right. Over all I would recommend this hotel and hope to go back under more favorable

This is the first time I have stayed on 79th street causeway and was glad that I did. This is a centrally located hotel and it sits right on the bay. A great convenience is that it has a bar and grill on site that sits right on the water. This is an older hotel and Best Western is remodeling , but the staff is very friendly and helpful and my stay was very pleasant.

Stayed here a lot over the years. It was always nice but now they have bugs in the rooms, specifically mosquitos. I stayed from September 17-20, 2016 and the room had mosquitos and a leak in the ceiling by the door. I am here again now, October 5th and THIS room also has mosquitos. I was bitten several times on the face and legs. They need to clear up the bug problem immediately.

Everything was excellent, in particular the Manager, Cristal. She runs a good team: Cynthia, Eva, Claudia, were also always very helpful (I'm sorry I didn't get the names of the gentlemen). For example, when we told them there was a mosquito in our room, they sent someone to spray the room. When I needed a letter from Cynthia, she wrote a very professional one. And Vivian, during breakfast, was an absolute darling; made sure we started the day on a positive note. It was such that after a first stay in August, we went back for other days in September. It was like our home away from home. Just one note: we found that the elevators and the area around the vending machines weren't always clean, perhaps guests had spilled drinks. I'm sure if I'd reported it to Cristal she would have immediately done something about it, but it would help for a staff member to check the situation around the property from time to time.

We always stay here when we visit family in Miami. Great property, well maintained, great staff. They are starting to charge $10 per night for parking and $15 per person for breakfast. That reduces the value, but it is still better than any other option that we have been able to find in the area. Shucker's has great food, drinks, and TV's.

It's about a 10-15 min drive to the port. We had a balcony water view room. It was beautiful. It is right above Shuckers bar and grill but inside we heard no noise. We were hesitant reading the reviews but we had no issues. It's not a 5 star hotel but it is Clean and has friendly staff. We will stay there again for our next cruise. My brother had a regular inside room it was very roomy with a bonus sitting area. Also As a bonus if your a Pokémon Go fan, they are a pokestop and a gym. We got some great Pokémon just walking around the hotel and parking lot that we didn't have! My niece was ecstatic over it and got a Pikachu for the first time!

Spent a few days in Miami to finish out Florida trip. We went with Best Western because our experience with that chain has always been positive. Positive until this stay in North Bay Village. The moment we walked in the room, we immediately knew it was not going to be good. The room smelt very moldy and uninviting. We checked out another room to see if it would be better. To no surprise, it was the same moldy smell. So we hung fabric softener to the air vent to try to kill the smell. It...didn't help. Then we decided to have a look at the air filter. Now that was a real shocker. The air filter was completely covered in dust. So thick that nothing was getting through there. Dead cockroaches were between the air filter and grill. Once the filter was out, you could see a huge area that was blackened with mold. It was absolutely disgusting. We stayed the night. Hardly had any sleep because of the smell. The next day we thought that the smell did dissipate a tiny bit and thought we could stand the next 3 nights. Spent the day in Miami South and came back at the hotel. Now we started to see live cockroaches. One, ok... freaked me out but then more kept coming out. I'm not afraid of bugs... I camp in the wild but this was not the same. After killing a few, we decided to check with the front desk. To our surprise we were given a can of bug spray to take care of the situation (obviously nothing new to them). So here we are spraying all over the room, behind the beds (which btw have probably not been vacuumed in a decade) and room furniture and still the buggers were coming out. We cancelled our stay and the next day moved to another hotel. Worst stay in a hotel ever. I give it a rating of one star because the lady at breakfast was the best customer service I had received in my trip to Florida. Guest service were nice as well. Otherwise, if it were possible this rating would be in the negative. I'm disgusted just thinking of the place.

Stopped here for a night after a long flight from the UK. It looks a bit basic from the outside, but once in the rooms are nice and it is friendly. The restaurant and bar were buzzing and very popular. The view over the bay is quite spectacular. I would use this hotel again.

With all the money they want you would think that a best Western would be a great choice...Cant recommend it's old and tire breakfast line was too long and the staff just isn't well trained especially the manager Crystal will rip you off

The hotel is under going remodeling as of 09/12/16 but the rooms were clean and well maintained.The staff was very helpful and friendly the Free breakfast was good and the breakfast attendants very helpful and friendly

This hotel has great views. That's honestly the only great thing about it. My room which was on the 2nd floor of the main building and smelled of mold I don't know the cause but the fact that there was a slow leak in the ceiling by the door did not help. The room itself was clean. The furniture was much too big for the room causing movement to be awkward. The front desk staff acted as though they were being held there against their will. I stayed for one day and I am glad it was for a short period of time inhaling mold is very bad for your overall health. I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend it. Also, the payment of $10 for parking is more than excessive.

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night post cruise. Having read the reviews we were not expecting the Ritz however we were a little disappointed with the overall upkeep, security and cleanliness of this hotel. Room review - Our room was not renovated and you could tell. It was very old in appearance and did not feel secure. There was daylight coming in from the door when locked. The area the room looked out on was beautiful however at night there is not much to look at apart from a very noisy road and a large carpark. On returning to our room we saw armed police officers in the car park which coupled with the noise and gap in the door left us feeling very on edge. Cleanliness of the room could be questioned with multiple black hairs found in common areas that could be avoided. Wifi was free and actually very good speed / coverage. Breakfast - Nothing to shout about and in comparison to other chains that offer this type of breakfast very poor offering Parking - Considering the area, the parking should be free but a nominal $10 per night is charged on check out. Staff - Mostly friendly, however not willing to engage in conversation. I would have expected to be asked about my stay on my departure. Area - If you have a car and you do not want to stay on the main beach area it is very accessible. The area is free from queuing traffic and allows you to explore both lower Hollywood and downtown Miami / Miami Beach within 20 mins. This is the best thing we found about this hotel. I would not stop in the same style of room again, however if I could guarantee a renovated room and within the main block (not overlooking road) I may consider this hotel again.

The Best Western on the Bay is fantastic. Great location on the bay, clean rooms, very nice pool, great parking, and a great price. The breakfast is good and complimentary. Shuckers restaurant and bar has a great view of the bay and so many TVs to watch every possible game on TV.

This hotel was basic but very satisfactory for our purposes. I like when breakfast is included because it makes it easier to get going on your travel plans each day. The facility was well kept and our room was nothing special but it was clean and tidy. The only negative is that it is not within walking distance of the beaches, but for the price it was not an issue for us since we had a rental car.

NOT ONE COMPLAINT! Great rooms, good parking, cameras on the property, friendly help, clean rooms, good breakfast, close to downtown and close to the beach, Great restaurant with a beautiful view and good food.

Basic place to stay. Room 452 overlooked the pool. Deep blue lights at night. Gets busy some nights due to Shuckers. Bathroom door hard to close. Air conditioning unit blew into your face if you were in the bed next to it. tub drain needed cleaning. shower handle hard to turn on.

I was here for only one night in a spacious room with two queen size beds, a smallish bathroom with a hair drier and a coffee maker in the room. My room looked on to the parking lot, where you can leave your car for $10 (not expensive for Miami, I found). Next to the hotel is Shucker´s Bar and Grill with a nice view of the bay.

We were staying for 1 night in Miami and was looking for a place close to the airport and close to our dinner in Bal Harbour (Makoto). This Best Western was located right in-between our 2 places so it was convenient. The price was very affordable compared to other hotels and overall, the environment was clean and great! The STAFF was what made this stay incredible as we were only there to check in, rest, and have breakfast. This was a very friendly atmosphere, extremely helpful, and kind staff! The place was also much nicer than we anticipated, with a beautiful pool, restaurant and docks for us to walk out and take some nice photos! Parking was fair and was good. All in all, great place for a good price, but again, wonderful smiling staff made it extra sweet!

This was my first time in Miami with my girlfriends and we had a disastrous experience with Airbnb with a nasty room so we had to make last minute reservations at this location. I think the ONLY highlight of this place is the rep at the front desk around midnight on August 5th - I believe his name is Steven. He found us ladies a room last minute and answered all of our questions; he was super helpful. Parking is $10 a night and The location of the place is ok - not within walking distance to the beach but was advised we can take a bus that runs every 15 mins. We were on the bottom floor and the walkway to our room was narrow, and dirty. The room was small and ok - could've used a vacuum to the floor though. now what really put a damper on this place was waking up to find roaches in the room! I wasn't really crazy about the place to begin with but this solidified that we did not want to stay all 3 nights as planned. I checked out at the front desk with 2 people, male and female didn't know their names, and advise them both about the little critters and the female just nonchalantly said, "oh im sorry" and the man didn't say anything but he did cancel the reservations for the other nights and provided me with a receipt. I believe they could've atleast been a little more sympathetic about the roaches but the way she said it was as if they were used to it. I wouldn't recommend booking here unless you are desperate, as we were at midnight due to issues with our initial reservation.

We had a one night lay over and stayed here. We checked in and went to our room. I was a little concerned after leaving the lobby. The hall going to our 3rd floor room looked a little old but once I unlocked our door everything was fine. The A/C already had our room nice and cool. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. No problems.

Stayed at Best Western on the Bay North Village. Great location for a stay over to go to Port of Miami. Clean , great pool area, wonderful restaurant. Great views. Highly recommend Staff helpful and breakfast good

The Best Western on the Bay Inn & Marina is located in North Bay Village, but when you have a car it's no problem to reach Miami beach. The breakfast was nice and the room was big. The walls are pretty thin and we had one cockroach in the room. The outside area is nice (when you like bar music by the pool). There is a little harbour right next to the hotel which looks great in the sunshine. Parking costs 10 Dollars per night which is a bit much for this location.

The Hotel was OK. We were there for two nights when we visited Miami Beach. The room was clean but not nice. The room was very dark and old. The staff was professional and the breakfast was OK. It's possible to go to Miami Beach by public transportation, it's a twenty minute ride. We had the option to park our car for 10$ per night. There is a restaurant right at the hotel wich is all right.

The pool was big, clean and with a wonderful view of the ocean. There is pool bar that sells good food, including veggie burgers, at a reasonable price. My only critic is that they automatically add 18% tips to your bill, even if you buy a couple of meals only. A bird stole a piece of my bun as soon as the plate was set on the table and the brought me another burger without any charge. The breakfast is very complete, it has cereal, yogurt, pancakes, eggs, fruits, etc. The rooms were big and very clean. We stayed only two nights, but we rented three rooms and were a total of 11 people. None of us had anything bad to say about this hotel, and I have to say that there is picky people in my family.

Booked a room with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed and was assigned room 103. The sofa bed was broken with tape all over it and metal wires poking out, bottom layer was torn and hanging on the floor. When checking in, the TV remote was missing and few minutes later, a maintenance staff came with another remote. After asking the front desk staff about the broken bed and if it is safe to sleep on it, a maintenance staff was sent to the room to take a look but there was nothing he could do to fix this since it was basically broken and need to replace. He did put more layers of tape to cover areas where the metal wires was poking out so that we would not poke ourselves ( I wish that I could post pictures of the broken sofa bed which I took up here). The bed sheets was so old and appeared milky yellowish. 3 out of 5 family members got bug bites after one night sleeping on the beds and sofa bed. The facial tissue box was empty and have to go ask for another one. The only thing I like about this hotel was that the staffs were friendly, especially the lady name Vivian who served the breakfast.

Clean and comfortable, but the bathroom is a very small closet! Breakfast was very good and the service was excellent. They were very helpful as we needed to store luggage after checking out. There was some remodeling construction in the hallway/rooms on the route to the lobby, but no noise and an alternative route was easy to access. The small sitting area was a step down from the room--unexpected! They should have used some of this space in the bathroom as it was so small--no counter space and could barely turn around in it!

Its comfortable, the staff was extremely friendly and the breakfast was great. The bay view is amazing and the pool was real nice too (which my kids enjoyed alot). Its a great location because, although its not too close to the beach, its close enough and still be out of traffic jam zone. For the money, I was extremely satisfied.

After our early morning cruise embarkment, we drove to Best Western Plus. We were greeted by the receptionist and told our room was ready. We went directly to our first floor room in the main building. Our handicap room had a large walk in shower. The room seems to have been changed from a drive up room. There was a drop in the floor to the seating area and the patio door opened directly to a hedge. The room is adjacent to the pool area so if you want to nap in the day, it is very noisy because of the children enjoying the pool experience. But it was good to hear they were happy. The positive aspect was the room was close to the pool when we wanted to swim.

Great find with an incredible marina view for the price and reasonable attached restaurant. Breakfast, although good did not have sufficient seating, which caused queuing problems for seating. Issue with a very noisy neighbour, but staff worked seriously to resolve problem. Very happy with find and staff.

Offers all you expect from Best Western - clean rooms, good showers, appropriate breakfast. Excellent atmosphere at the bar downstairs, the outside part is fun in the evenings. Extra money for parking. 4 stars is for false advertising on Expedia. I booked a room which explicitly stated "with bay views" (picture attached). Don't believe it. You going to see the bay only if you go out of your room and walk towards the part of the corridor facing the bay. The real view from your window is a corridor where people walk back and forth to enter/exit their rooms, which makes you keeping your windows always curtained. Otherwise, it's good value for Miami, just have the right expectation.

Large, clean, comfortable rooms with excellent view over the bay. Coffee machine, fridge, safe, iron and ironing board all in room. Excellent rates. Good food and drinks in the bar. Some interesting cocktails too! Hotel breakfast was surprisingly good with many options. Had parking costs included in room rate by booking in advance.

I couldn't have asked for a better room for the price we paid. The staff was awesome. They upgraded our room. It was ready when we got there. The view from our room was amazing. And the location was perfect.

My dad booked two rooms with two double beds for a great price. The location is great and has a beautiful view of the ocean. The pool looked nice (we didn't use it only because we were always out!) The front desk clerks were friendly and provided us with everything we needed, including local attractions. The complimentary breakfast was good and the employees were the friendliest I've ever met.

We were traveling to Miami for a baseball game and needed overnight accommodations. The front desk and entry are very nice and welcoming along with the people working. The room was clean, nicely decorated which was recently remodeled including the bathroom. The room was a little crowded but included a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The bed was very comfortable and there was a good sized balcony with a small table and 2 chairs. We did have a water view. The restaurant on site has amazing fish tacos and key lime pie. The water view from the restaurant at sunset was beautiful. There is a good sized pool also. This is a great place for a short stay.

We really loved this hotel. It is close enough to drive to South Beach Miami beaches and yet not too close. It has a great restaurant with delicious food and drinks, the staff is very pleasant and they offer a very nice continental breakfast. We only reserved one night but stayed a second night because we liked it so much. We also loved that there was a breakfast room attendant who kept the food fresh and tables clean. She made the waffles and brought them to your table. Nice clean pool and lots of deck area. Beautiful view of the bay, we watched the boats come and go. There is a $10 parking fee per night.

Great location and views, room was nice, we paid for a bay view with balcony, it was only extra few dollars. The staff were very friendly, but the bar attached made this place great for us...... Met many friendly locals over beers and had nice dinner looking over the water. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Sorry to say other than the views I wouldn't go back, the room wasn't serviced while we were at Miami Beach for nine hours, the door card was temperamental to say the least and the carpet in our room was wet (presumably from it being cleaned) we stayed 2 nights and it was still damp when we left. When I told the front desk about the room not being serviced it felt like he was calling me a liar, being told I shouldn't leave the do not disturb sign on the door, it wasn't!!!!

Not a an exceptional place . Ventilation system was poor but ok for one night. Breakfast was ok too . If you are looking to crash for one night its ok . Dont expect royal breakfast . There back entrance to rooms was so dirty , they had open garbage cans and it was smelly every where. location was good , beautiful view of ocean and downtown

It's a great place!, everybody is friendly!, great breakfast, clean rooms, wonderful location it's close to the beach and downtown, restaurant on the bay, beautiful view, nice pool, quiet and very relaxing!

Would stay there for the pool, great location overlooking the bay. Clean rooms. Hot and cold breakfast. -Loud music playing at the pool starting at 10 pm. -Breakfast room is freezing so take a sweater when having breakfast. -parking charge is 10 dollars a day.

I would recommend staying here. Everything was close by. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good. Ms. Vivian was very nice and extremely helpful. Parking was ok. We didn't get to get in the pool because it rained most of the time we were there, but it is nice. The only thing is that the restaurant was a little expensive.

We spend 2 nights in this hotel (6/7-6/8). The hotel has two buildings and they gave us one room in the annex which is well located as it is on the water front. Unfortunately this annex is old and surrounded by a huge open garbage container in the parking as well as a garbage collector which smells bad as the door is always open and dirty liquid continuously leaking from the inside. Also the way to the elevator is narrow and dirty. I looks like the way to underground. The room is acceptable except that it smell humidity and the ac very noisy. The bar is OK, waiters are motivated. The breakfast service is good. The lady in charge was very helpful. The free wifi in room did not work.

Great location, great hotel chain and quality on services offered. This hotel is very well located and let us on an easy spot to go where we want in Miami area. I had a pleasure time there and I will return next time. Great parking area, pool area, restaurant and bar located on site wih great prices.

It's a bit far from South Beach but it is located in a calm neighbourhood so you get good sleep! Our room was spacious and clean. Our bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had enough towels. The breakfast is simple but good. The staff are friendly and nice. You can easily go to the beach with the trolley which is free and has a station nearby.

Visited twice in June, staff could not have been more helpful or accommodating. Room was clean and roomy, the softest towels I have experienced in a long time. Breakfast tasty and plentiful. And 24hr coffee in the lobby

The Best Western on the Bay was a good spot for my friends and I to celebrate a long Memorial Day weekend. It was located centrally to most spots we wanted to visit, and seemed like a lot of others took advantage of it's location (also right on the bay, which provided for great views). I was disappointed to find out that it was wrongly advertised on the third party website that they provided rollaway beds...we were told this upon check in (rudely, I might add) that "they have never offered rollaway beds in the history of the hotel". Regardless, we did not let this ruin our trip, and simply squeezed ourselves in the room. The bathroom was spacious, which was helpful in the double room. We also enjoyed the restaurant downstairs and being able to relax at the pool. For the price, it was very reasonable, and pretty much exactly what you would expect for what you paid. Staff was friendly and helpful when needed. Be aware that there is a $10.00 parking fee per night per car when you arrive. Overall, it was a good stay and I would book again if needing a last minute hotel away from all the hustle and bustle of Miami.

Although this hotel is somewhat outdated I found it to be very clean and the employees were pleasant and professional. My room was located on the fourth floor overlooking the bay with the restaurant located just below our room, which made people watching and the boating activity on the bay entertaining. The only gripe I had with the hotel is that on the last day the elevator broke and it made carrying all of our luggage down four flights of stairs very exhausting. The hotel offered a continental breakfast and the food was great but the breakfast bar was located in another building from where our room was located.

Average hotel. Reasonable price. A bit far off from South Beach but still ok as you can take the public transit. Staff not too genuine and I believe we were misled on a few things. Appreciated the free shuttle to the airport. Breakfast was decent and the kitchen staff were very helpful and kind.

The staff was very courteous and attentive. Checking in and out was quick and the lady in the breakfast room was simply awesome. However; the big disappointment was the hotel lobby and our room had a terrible smell. We had to go to the store to get Febreze to help eliminate the odor. It was horrible and we will not return to this hotel.

We stayed here for one night and loved our rooms and the position on the hotel overlooking the water, room was in the separate block and was clean and the beds comfortable, our fridge wasn't working initially but was soon fixed after a call to reception. Great pool area with pool towels from reception and good breakfast.

We´ve stayed at this hotel 2 nights before our flight back home from MIA. The hotel was nice, but a bit outdated and the smell in the room was not the best but ok for the price in this area. The breakfast was very good, everything you could think about and a very nice woman was looking after it all the time so that nothing runs out. The pool was great, you had a great view over the ocean and in the sky!

My husband and I stayed at this hotel during our visit to Miami. When I booked the hotel I didn't know we'd have a balcony room. The view was absolutely amazing, however the advertisement pictures are deceiving. If we looked straight we looked on to the parking lot but to our left was a view of the ocean which was beautiful. The service was great! We were always greeted with a smile no matter what time we came back to the hotel. The staff was just wonderful and always made us feel welcome. The rooms were a bit out dated but I would definitely consider staying at the hotel again.

The hotel is an older one but has been remodeled nicely and rooms are clean and comfortable. The real treat comes with the staff that go above and beyond to make your stay a nice one. I have been making several business trips to Miami & stay at this hotel every time because of the way I was treated from the very first stay. RJ & Eva at the front desk are exceptional & know me by name as well as Vivian who warmly greets me by name every morning and makes me a waffle. I do not know all the names of the rest of the staff but all greet you with a smile and do what ever they can to make you feel welcome.

the hotel was nice, kind of a motel style, the room was quite big with balcony but it was very humid, felt like the bedlinen was wet… all essentials available in the room like coffeemaker, fridge… breakfast was ok, standard. pool area nice and clean, heated pool. parking is charged 10$ per day but next to the hotel parking there is public parking and restaurant parking for free so use that instead.

Location is close to beach. Our room overlooked the bay. Beautiful. Great pool. Shuckers restaurant right there with good food and service. Hotel staff are great. Breakfast manager, Vivian, is a darling person. Loved her. WiFi was not the greatest tho.

Rooms and service were impecable, clean, spacious, well furnished, good beds and tv, great balcony. On the water--all rooms had a great view of the bay, and the restaurant bar was large, right on the water, and well served. Food was very good, although not stellar.

I stayed at this hotel from April 9th to April 12th. The room was very clean and comfortable. Fresh bed sheets, the mini fridge worked fine as did the microwave and coffee machine. Oh..., and free breakfast included every morning! The staff was very nice and willing to help if any issues arose. Check in & Check out was flawless. The location of this hotel makes it perfect to reach the main attractions, South Beach, Miami Beach and whatever other destination South Florida you might have in mind. Thumbs up on this booking and experience!

On our booking we mentioned we had 80 year old's that needed easy room access. We were then given rooms on the third floor, the furthest rooms away from the elevator and the closest to the Road which was extremely noisy. The hotel was only half booked so they could have been a lot more accommodating The carpets in the room were very dirty, we always remove our shoes at home and in any other accommodation and all of our feet were black with dirt There are no lights on the balconies so not easy to use in the evenings and they have the audacity to charge you $10 to park in their own car park, disgusting! Free wifi connected but did not work The only good thing about this hotel was the two ladies at breakfast, who were fantastic. Helpful, friendly, accommodating and the only good thing about our stay there

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. Walter picked us up at the airport and gave us some useful information that helped us organize our days in Miami. Every day Vivian was a delight. She was caring and she took very good care of us. The hotel is clean and comfortable. It took us about 40 minutes to get to Miami beach as we had to ride the L bus. There are some stores and restaurants around. We had a very good time.

I had picked this particular hotel because it offered transportation from the airport to the hotel, and from the hotel to the port to catch a cruise. When I called them to arrange for a shuttle from the airport, I was told they were under new management and they didn't offer that service any longer. When we checked in, it was well after 1am The room was OK but it just didn't seem very clean. In fact, my hubby felt more comfortable in his jeans and t-shirt on top of the covers rather than getting all tucked in under the sheets The next morning when the sun was shining, we could see gaps in the door (not that it makes any difference, but it just didn't seem very secure) The breakfast in the morning was alright The last nugget of information was when I returned home from my cruise a week later, I found my credit card had been hacked. I know it was from this location because I don't use it very often and had given it to the front desk upon check in for incidentals.
