    « Lovely afternoon tea »

We were taken to this hotel while on tour from the Queen Mary 2 for afternoon tea . The staff were waiting for us and we're terrific, really well organised and the tea that they presented us with was beautifull, lovely cakes and you could have as much as you liked. I am sure it would be a good place to stay after experiencing how well they looked after us.

    « Good Hotel »

Stayed in this hotel one night on a business trip. It was a good size room with a comfy bed, a little couch and a desk for work. Everything was clean and the standard was good. Free wifi witch worked perfectly. Had dinner at the resturant this was just ok.

    « Unexpectedly noisy »

One side of the hotel is right on what looks like a small local road that actually carries a fair amount of traffic, including some large trucks which woke us up despite the double-glazed windows. It could also use better light blocking curtains for non-scandanavians who aren't used to having sunlight at 11:30 at night. Other than that, the rooms were clean, the restaurant was good, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were friendly

    « Wonderful Service »

We've just stayed in this hotel and we had an amazing time! The rooms were great, the food was absolutely wonderful and the service spectacular. Despite a busy day, the employees still managed to smile sincerely and made us feel welcome! We liked the waitress, Laura, she seem very sincere when asking about our trip and made sure everything was as it should be! All in all, would recommend this hotel to everyone

    « hey okey »

the room is old, has a institusionaliazed bathroom, its dirty in the linings. the rest of the room is clean but very old fashioned- extremely expensive! ok breakfast, always empty for something. almost never people at the front desk to assist you.

« We didn't even stay at this hotel »

We wandered in for an evening meal but received so much more from the host. The Food was excellent and the host was extremely friendly and genuinely interested in our trip, giving advice on which bakery to find picnic lunch for the next day as well as many places of interest to find on our forward journey to Bergen. Really do wish we had booked in here for the night

« Good stay for one night »

This hotel has a good location (well I think they all have because we are taking about a small town), the breakfast was good and the personnel was helpful (they gave us directions and some coffee for the road). The room was kind of small though. I really liked

    « No Food »

No food/dinner on sundays , other days Cafeteria with pizza/taco or other snacks, happely there is nearby a very good chinees restaurant. The breakfast was very ok , no fried eggs. Nice and clever modern room. Very good reception service, newspapers and internet.

    « Excellent Stay »

Visited for one night in mid November. Had a fantastic traditional Norwegian Christmas dinner in the restaurant. The room was of a very high standard with very nice bathroom and sleeping area. The hotel has a lot of personal touches with old photos of the area Highly recommended

    « Best food ever! »

This hotel has rooms of good standard, and the rooms are clean and relatively new, but the real treat here is the food and the service, wich are both excellent! Made with fresh ingredients and skill, it was a superb meal in the hotel's restaurant. Highly recommended. Maria S.

    « Great value »

We stayed here as a family, with two teenagers, in a family room. Room was great and plenty big enough, bathroom was best we have come across this trip with in floor heating which kept it dry and breakfast was fine. Our room was within 20m of the water so it is close by. Only down side was no hair dryer and no power point in the bathroom.
