Best Western Plus Cairn Croft Hotel

Our plan was a one night stay on Sunday March 31. Beds were so comfortable and hotel staff so accommodating that we decided to stay an extra night. Chef Dan hands down makes the best breakfast. We had omelets and eggs Benedict, best homefries. Dinner was awesome. We had the curry chicken and steaks. Best Western PLUS says it all. Thanks again.

Nice hotel clean room. Check in was quick. We stayed on Easter weekend so the hotel was busy. Pool area was great although very busy with kids. Restaurants were close by. We got a room that opened onto the pool area which was great for going to and from the pool. Noise not an issue in the evening as pool was closed by 10. But kids were up and playing in the play area by 7am so it was very loud in the morning. Again it was a busy Easter weekend

Our basketball team stayed for a tournament. The hotel has a great pool and lounge area. Parking is a challenge and our room was situated above the bar so on the second night it was tough to sleep because they had a live band. But the staff was super friendly and we close enough to everything in this location but not right downtown.

The cabinets were dusty and the floors got pretty dirty it was a nice place though with the pool area and everything closed so early. I also needed to rush to leave because we couldn't get late checkout. Also they need to fix the drawers in room 460 the top drawer kept waking me up.

During our stay we used courtyard and swimming pool. Water in the swimming pool was more like a cold plunge and there was a kid that vomited number of time right into the water and kept swimming there with his parents. We advised the stuff working at the courtyard and there was no reaction. People who did not know about the accident kept swimmig in the water full of vomit

This is our go to spot when we need to escape winter but just have a few days to spare. Sitting in the hot tub or the pool surrounded by trees makes us feel like we are away somewhere! Always a great place to be!!

We enjoyed the room, pool ,and hot tub very much. The 2 Queen beds were so comfortable that we slept soundly like logs. The fun package is well worth it for the arcade card, restaurant voucher, generous breakfast and parking. Everything was clean and everyone was very friendly. We'll be back again in a few weeks!

Booked this hotel because the price was right and there was a pool and a nice looking courtyard! Unfortunately, the pool was closed and it is a paid breakfast. Still a decent stay and the staff are excellent.

Our group of 10 enjoyed staying here, the adjoining restraunt had a great band on the friday night and we enjoyed dinner at the restraunt on saturday night. The food was great the Chicken wing chowder was delicious i would highly recommend! The hotel staff were pleasant. We would visit again in the futre. The only issues we had were there was no mat on the inside to wipe your feet when entering with snowy boots, we did request one but never received one so we had to keep wiping the wet floor. Restraunt waitress was very slow resulting in waiting quite awhile for any drinks or clearing our table from dinner. Unsupervised children (under 12 years old) were in the hot tub which in my opinion was way too hot for that young of children seemed their skin was incredibly red when exiting the hot tub. However we would definately return and stay again in the future.

Erin L was super helpful and made our stay more enjoyable. We loved the pool and hot tub. The courtyard was a nice hang out spot. All staff were friendly. Everything is in walking distance. Only downfall, my first room had a microwave but my second room closer to the pool did not. However, they have a microwave on the pool deck so it wasn't a big deal

We spent two nights here as a Christmas gift to the kids as well as to celebrate my 40th birthday. Check-in was quick and easy. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. We were happy to have a room/balcony overlooking the courtyard. The pool area was clean and fun. The lounge looked awesome but I didn't have a chance to use. Lots of restaurants and shopping in the area however have to drive or Uber to the main areas of Niagara Falls. Our only complaints were that children as young as two were using the hot tubs and both were always filled with kids..also the pool area closes at 10pm, would be nice if open until 11.

We had a great stay in the tower! My son loved the pool and play structure. We will definitely be back! There was also a young children's hockey team, but noise was not an issue. The room was very clean.

Lovely playground and pool for small children. Hot tubs are both very warm. The bar is in the same area as the hot tubs. Rooms are clean basic style hotel rooms. Good value. Better for children under 10 I would say personally.

Pool area is amazing. Green house like setting with tropical plants. 2 hot tubs. New updated arcade as well as a play place for your kids. Very cool hotel to hang out in. Rooms are clean but bathrooms are very dated. Tub/toilet are yellow and tiles brown. Its exspensive for dated bathrooms and no breakfast. There are no freebies. Parking is extra too. Wifi is included but whoopty doo, it's free everywhere now a days.

Rooms, furniture, etc are very dated, carpet was very disgusting, and beds were very uncomfortable. Humid in room, hard to control temperature, noisy HVAC system. Bathrooms very dated, not very good layout and poor water pressure. Paying for parking was extremely disappointing especially considering the location, rates, extra charges/taxes and access to rooms. Website is very deceiving and does not reflect the actual place/area. Lots of rusty, dirty fans, and damaged looking skylights in the courtyard. This place definitely needs some love! But it's typical big franchises that ignore certain places and locations. We could say more but we know these things are a waste of time and usually fall on deaf ears. The staff are all very inviting and pleasant, it's just too bad the corporate leaves them to deal with disappointing customers. I am very confident that NO Best Western Executive would ever stay at this location.

Very clean, friendly and kind staff. Beds were very comfy. Pool and hot tubs were clean and enjoyable to use. Something for all ages. Bus stop right out front of hotel that takes you on a quick bus ride to all attractions in Niagara Falls.

Travelled with my 13 year old granddaughter, I asked her her rating for hotel ….. courtyard, pool and hot tubs a 9. Our hotel room a 6! Needs major updating… carpets were dirty and had to clean bathroom . But great value and great courtyard!

Loved this hotel for our little family summer trip! Our room (suite) , hotel, pool area was all emasculate! The pool area is adorable with an indoor playground, bar area and lots of convenient seating to eat around the pool . Very pretty with lots of indoor trees and foliage! My kids loved the pool and playground area. There was also an arcade that the kids loved ! Restaurant on site that was pretty good. Loved that they had water dispensers available for guests. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Loved staying here and would def stay again! Recommendation: stay in the tower , not around the pool as it can be noisier.

The first observation was that they had put us in a room by the pool and the whole area smelt like chlorine. The AC in our room failed to work. In the end they were sold out and had no other available rooms to switch to. They did waive the parking fee and refunded $100 but this hotel is overpriced and not worth it from the start. We won't be coming back.

We were really looking forward to staying here but unfortunately we did not have a good experience. The bed was very uncomfortable and so were the pillows We paid for breakfast and it was non existent.

great stay, people were really friendly , clean, nice pool and hot tub. I liked that it was next to a grocery store. even had live music and a small bar. I would recommend this hotel for anyone going on a budget or with families .

It was the perfect time to visit. The pillows in the room makes it hard to get out of bed. It was chilling I had the hot tub and pool to myself for the most part. Loved it. Will always return to this location

Overall very clean. Staff are friendly. The nespresso in the rooms was a nice touch. Pool and pool area are great. On-site restaurant is good food and great value. Lots of towels available pool side. Only issue was internet speed and the gym could use better equipment. If you are not there for work or a work out there are no issues. It's also a little further away from the main strip making it quieter if that is what you are looking for

This hotel is nice. Our room was clean and comfortable, with lots of fresh towels. The jacuzzi tub was clean and the jets felt luxurious. I'm very picky about the cleanliness of the hotels I stay at and this one was up to my standard.

Great for families. The rooms are small and dated. The location is close to attractions, but not right in the bubble. The restaurant, bar and pool more than make up for it though. The courtyard area is very nice, but if you are looking for quiet, request a tower room.

This is a fantastic place to get away from winter without leaving Ontario.You feel you are at a tropical resort, where it is safe to take the whole family.I took my wife here to celebrate her birthday.

Rented 3 rooms at this property. Grandparents and 2 families with 2 children each. Ages 1 to 6. They loved all the facilities. Pool, hot tubs, playground, arcade with games and prizes. Would recommend the Fun Package which gives you breakfast, dinner credit and arcade credits. Overall great time had by all. Nice winter get away.

A birthday celebration at the falls. It was lovely. Best western was very accommodating. I always love the menu at magilligans. And their team is so clientele focussed. The rooms are soo comfortable. I will be returning

Very fun environment. Tropical vacation feel. We enjoyed the pool and courtyard very much. We also ordered from the on site Irish pub for dinner and enjoyed it in the courtyard, the food was delicious. The courtyard rooms are awesome for easy accessibility to pool but can be noisy at night as the courtyard doesn't close to 11p.m. we brought our sins machine and weren't bothered much unless someone was directly outside or room. Water temp in pool/hut tub was good. Towels are available. Bring your own life jacket, water wings for kids. Will definitely return!

We just finished a weekend trip with our extended family and had a great time. We stayed in the courtyard which is noisy until about 11 pm and then was fairly quiet. It's not super private, but you have a fun atmosphere of people sitting in the courtyard and drinking and eating and playing games and using the pool etc. It was a blast with young kids (1-3 yrs) and they loved the pool and the jungle gym and just running around the hotel. The staff were very accommodating. The food was decent pub food. People did order in food and bring in outside drinks even though it was frowned on a bit. If you want something quieter get a tower room. The pool was busy during the days on the weekend, as was the restaurant. The rooms were clean and comfortable, nothing fancy. There were cots available for the kids.

Not a good trip. Loud guests. Chlorine smell every where. Dry, dusty, stuffy rooms. Terrible beds. Uncontrollable guests partying. This is not a relaxing destination. Exceptional staff though. Fine of you want a cheap place to stay and don't mind yahoos taking over the place.

Would absolutely stay again and everyone was so helpful and kind to make sure all our needs were taken care of.. we even received a courteous call to let us know there was construction above our room, and if we would like to relocate.

Everything that we experienced at this hotel was great. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful(Thankyou). The atmosphere was wonderful, making us feel that we were in a tropical setting. The trees were beautiful, the sound of birds in some trees was refreshing and the pool and hot tubs were very well used. Arcades for the kids and slides as well, were well used. There's a very nice Irish Pub on site and lots of restaurants and fast food places nearby. Grocery store right next door, as well as a drugstore and McDonalds. The rooms were very nice and there were several rooms that faced the tropical Courtyard. Lots of patio furniture, for sitting in front of your room to watch the relaxing setting. Rooms were comfortable, with a fridge and single coffee maker.(good puck coffees). Will surely return for a relaxing get away in the future. Thanks Cairn Croft Hotel.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, great amenities. Get the breakfast package, it's well worth it. I have already recommended to friends with children and we will be back again. Thanks to all the staff that went above and beyond!

We booked the Santa Suite and it was beautiful. The attention to detail was remarkable. We were blown away by the decorations . I was not expecting the bathroom to be decorated as well but it was. The bed was incredibly comfortable, as were the linens and towels. The hot cocoa bar and Santa letter station were so cute and my 5 year old son had a big kick out of the Christmas books and ornaments all ready for him. I wish this type of Suite were available everywhere, as it's a fantastic idea. Hopefully next year they will have the hardwood floors in all rooms, as they are currently upgrading apparently. We hope this Suite will be available next year as well so we can return again for 2 nights . Would recommend to families for sure. Parking was extra that was the only downfall, and it's a long walk to the falls.

Hotel was clean, staff was very nice and friendly and we felt very welcome. Our kids enjoyed the pool. Staff was quick to solve any problems,. This is probably the 8th time at this hotel and I am sure we will be back!

This is our third trip to the BW Cairn Croft. Again we took our grandsons over the Xmas break as part of their Xmas gift. They love it there and there is always plenty of families with young children there. The pool and hot tub are great with plenty of towels for everyone. All the kids love the rocket climber and are in it from morning till night. There is also an small arcade that the my grandsons love to play at. The hotel room is big with two queen beds,a frig and a nice size bathroom with sink on outside of bathroom. The room was very clean and you can adjust the heat or air yourself. There is a table and two chairs inside the room and a small patio table and two chairs on the deck if you are staying in the courtyard rooms. The staff were very friendly Especially our maid and the front desk girls. My grandsons had so much fun they can't wait to go back in March.

I stayed for 3 days over Christmas and booked a Queen room but when I arrived they upgraded me to a King suite with a fireplace. I paid $526.18 with taxes plus parking which I believe is $15 for the 3 nights. The room had the fireplace, king bed, sofa, arm chair, office desk and chair, Jacuzzi, sufficient size shower with adequate water pressure, 4 tables and sufficient lighting. I was able to figure out the heating. There is a large indoor pool but you wouldn't want a room beside it as it is noisy but you can get a room in the tower. It was an exercise room and a car charger for my Tesla which I used twice in the cold weather. There is an attached Irish theme restaurant but within easy walking distance to Pizza Hut, McDonalds, Burger King, Red Lobster and Swiss Chalet.

Have been returning for over 30 years to this Rain Forest Oasis. Suite 207 has the best view of the pool and two large hot tubs. Chlorine levels at 7.4 are safe in the pool with extra chlorine levels in both immense hot tubs. 82° pool temps with Hot tub at 101 ° for ten minute jet massage. There is Only Hotel tower elevator service. Walking up to the second floor in the courtyard is required. $17 parking fee has a numbered ticket though no date stamp. Place it on the dash close to your hotel outside door close to Jim's No Frills. Double Queen Suite was very comfortable and please avoid touching the preset Thermostat. Doc Macgilligan Pub is an excellent restaurant and is adjoined to the Hotel. Thanks so much for a quiet restful Monday and Tuesday in December 2022.

Accommodations exceeded our expectations. Pool and hot tub area is amazing, like a mini resort in the court yard. Staff were very friendly and courteous. Rooms very nice, attractive and clean. Attached to an Irish pub for good food, music and entertainment. Close to Niagara Falls, great location.

This hotel is a hangout for the local yahoos. It's treated like a trashy resort which is sooooo unfortunate. The parents sit in the courtyard getting drunk and the children run around unsupervised. The pools are so well used that they are cloudy not clear water, the spas have a thick layer of foam with brown sludge on the top. If the courtyard rules were a bit more strict this could be avoided. I will say that the staff here is amazing!!! We had major noise complaint…. 2am loudness and it was taken care of quickly! The rooms are clean and staff is present and easily found… it's just too bad that the courtyard and pools are so abused by the guests… the particular caliber of guest…

The pool was cold and is suppose to be a heated pool. We could only stay in it for at the most 30mins and then we had to get out. And we were shivering. The one hot tub was so hot it burned you getting into it. The other one was nice. The restaurant was terrible. Brought us 3 wrong meals and all 6 meals were cold. So disappointed

Smokers outside our room which was disturbing and Kids in the fitness center at least 5 kids. Loved the courtyard. Used the hot tub, was nice temperature, clean and led lights were cool. Room was comfortable and cozy.

For us, the set up around our room was perfect - door to the parking lot for easy loading and unloading, patio doors on the other side of the room led to a "Florida feel" pool area where we had a large table and chairs for lounging and snacking! The attached pub Doc Magilligan's is amazing. Live music, good food, and the staff are excellent. We felt very at home and welcomed!

I have never stayed in such a loud hotel. We booked a room on the courtyard and the noise was horrific! If sleep is important to you or your kids go to bed anytime before 11 pm, DO NOT book a courtyard room! The old sliding doors don't seem secure either and they use an old key to lock. The staff are wonderful, and the location is good. The pool area is awesome, albeit, VERY loud. The room had an old water bottle left in it too which made me question what else hadn't been cleaned. Would I return? Maybe, but I most definitely would not book a courtyard room as sleep is something I value.

Best Western was the best motel we have stayed at in a long time, very clean, very accommodating, people polite and friendly.would highly recommend everyone to stay here. The swimming pool and play area for children were fantastic, lots of parking.

Don't wait! This place is your one stop shop for the whole family. The front desk was quick, friendly and accommodating. The room and courtyard is very clean. The view from your room is breathtaking. The restaurant Irish pub is kid friendly and the food was 10/10. . The arcade is so much fun for any age including adults and the overall stay was so adorable on a weekday. We went from Sunday till Monday. I was very impressed that the tvs were set up with YouTube and Netflix. Great Wi-Fi and not stickler rules. Fun for the whole family and so many sitting areas for a relaxing experience. It is pet friendly too and each room has its on outdoor entrance for your car to be parked close to your door and an ashtray too. There is nothing not to love! We can't wait to go back , book a night at Cairn Croft. You won't regret it !

Friendly staff, although I did not use the amenities they hotel had a lot to offer. On site restaurant, pool, play area for children, courtyard lounge area with balcony off of room, arcade and golf room. Highly recommend this hotel for families.

My wife and I stay at the Cairn Croft at least twice a year when we visit her family in Niagara Falls. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and the amenities top notch. Internet Wi-Fi is always reliable and has a strong signal. The pool is clean and there is an arcade for the kids. There are many restaurants within walking distance and there is a supermarket right next door. A great place to stay and we will be returning.

We usually visit Niagara Falls once or twice a year (with a few year gap, thanks to Covid-19) We don't even bother checking other Hotels anymore, because this one has it all. Close to the Falls, but not too close, if you know what I mean. Beautiful indoor pool , fantastic restaurant from the lobby, great staff, spotless rooms and a comfortable bed. We had a King bed with whirlpool in the tower. The only thing we didn't like was having to leave.

One of the worst hotels I've stayed in. First off, it's a motel not hotel and in a very sketchy part of town. The only positive is the inner court with pool and spas. That is unique and kind of cool. Check in was not friendly, but not rude. The rooms are old and run down. One bed was dirty. Not stained, dirty. I don't even want to describe what it looked like. It's cheap, but I wouldn't pay $10 a night to stay again. I have found Best Westerns clean and comfortable, if without frills. I can't believe they would put their name on this place!

The customer service here was excellent! We had problems with our tub and they went out of their way to help us and get it fixed asap. It is a bit of a walk to the falls but has an excellent restaurant on site and an arcade, tropical swimming area and other good food in the area. Highly recommended for the service alone.

Hotel was very nice for a great cost and id defintley go back and stay there again. the food was excellent at the hotels resturant , very nice Irish Pub , has everything you need for a couples outing or family outing. close to clifton hill at the falls cheap cab ride an nice staff that works at hotel , they greet you with a smile and are therefor anything you need. the rooms are very nice

Our group of 26 people really enjoyed our stay at Best Western Cairn Croft. They are very accommodating to groups such as ours. There are many restaurants within walking distance if you decide not to ear at their own excellent Doc Magilligans.

My son had a huge sign fall on him in the play structure. We did an incident report, but no manager contacted me as requested. He has cuts and scratches down his back from this. We were there 2 nights and no one came to fix the sign.

Best experience in this hotel and view, good place with family, and children, very clean and comfort.also close to Niagara falls, just 10 min by car, you can relax in pool and jacuzzi, looks like resort

A warm room in peak summertime. Even if you set the temperature at 50 degrees, there is no impact. A very old thermostat, a noisy vent. It's horrible. These guys are not bothered about customers, perhaps they take the advantage of Niagra.

Not our favorite hotel stay. The location is further from Clifton Hill and away from the noise and crowds (although the area is a bit sketchy a couple of blocks from the hotel). The rooms are showing signs of age and are very basic as far as comfort and necessities go. I figured this would be a family-based hotel due to the pool area, but it was full of very loud adults. Also, the rooms all surround an indoor pool which actually makes the room very humid. We did enjoy the on-site restaurant, but this hotel does not provide a complimentary continental breakfast. In all, this hotel met our very basic needs of needing a place to sleep and shower, but I would not return to this hotel nor recommend it to anyone.

Very noisy air conditioner and when you turned it off everything in the room got damp quickly. Only one small bar of soap provided even though sink was in separate room to the shower. Very low toilet seat Hotel is located in a poor part of town. Better to stay elsewhere.

Dated hotel - clean but unfortunately our room had an overpowering musty/damp smell. Our friends who were in the room above us complained of a particularly nasty smell. We checked out a day early. Housekeeping seemed to do a good job but there is obviously a problem in that section of the hotel.

Had an amazing time. Staff was extremely friendly and very quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Hotel in itself including the rooms and the pool area were very clean. We really enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. Can't wait for our next visit!

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel, the atrium and pool area was incredible. Staff went absolve and beyond. Rooms were large, airy, clean. Beds sooooo comfortable. Would highly recommend and we will stay here again.

I requested 2 baby cribs for my infant twins. We got there around 10pm, and staff just give us the bassinet without setting it up.. they just handed us the bassinet along the bedsheets; i requested the bassinet 2 days and also the morning we checked in. I was expecting it was already set up prior to arrival. Also it was 2 bassinet for 2 babies, but they only give us 1 set of bedsheets. It was almost midnight and we have to struggle setting up the bassinet with crying babies. I requested another set of bedsheets, but arrived n our room after an hour. The room was dirty and we found condoms under the bed. The bathroom was grouchy and everything just look disgusting. it was nicr location bit other than that it was dissapointing. oh and my friends room had proble. with their locks

The hotel when entering is welcoming. The entrance is large and spacious and going to check in, your met with friendly helpful staff. The hotel is clean and many upgrades are there. They have a pool, an arcade for the kids or kids at heart, and nice comfortable outdoor area, a interactive golf area, a great bar lounge and restaurant. The rooms are excellent. They are clean and fresh and the staff make sure all areas are clean.

The room is a bit outdated. The carpet smelled and the patio door and windows are not soundproof. You can hear people's conversation from the pool area. The front desk staff seemed like in a rush to check us in. There was no acknowledgement for being a BW Rewards member nor any mention of the amenities (pool, restaurant etc.) and their hours of operation. She was going to charge us for parking until I told her we didn't have a car to park. The lobby is modern and clean.

The location is very good, close to supermarkets, public transportation, chain fast food restaurants, and museum. People like me if don't want to bother paying high price for hotels and parking near Niagara Fall, I prefer taking public transport ($3 per trip or $10 a day pass). Room is okay (good at that price level).

I´ve been going to this hotel every year for over ten years. It has the best swimming pool and hot tubs -- inside a solarium environment with tropical plants, and this area is never crowded. Very friendly staff.

Excellent customer service. Check-in and check-out was fast and friendly. Location was near shopping and restaurants. Bar and restaurant located in the hotel. There is swimming pool and hot tub. Their rooms is large and clean. Food was great. Also there is a gym. Kids play area. Everything is very clean..Staff was friendly and kind..

The staff and (restaurant staff next door) were great. Always looking to help, appreciated the service industry is sometimes a difficult place to work - the staff always had a smile and we felt they were genuinely looking to make sure our stay was great. Hotel / rooms and Pool area neat and clean (but are in need updating). Special call out to Myriah - golf coordinator, for making sure the golf courses reservations were what we requested.

Absolutely love this hotel, the staff are so friendly and the amenities incredible. Best hotel in Niagara for me and I always recommend it to anyone visiting the Niagara area. Very close to the falls with so much more to offer than the hotels that are right downtown. I love it.

Always friendly and close to everything you want, pub next store is great with bands on the weekend. A golf facility is on the grounds (virtual) with fun for all! Clean rooms, older building but they make it work.

Always love coming here. We are repeat visitors as they have the golf simulator in the lobby. Food is fresh & Delish. Drink prices are very reasonable. Can't wait to come back. I've told many friends about this property.

Exceptional! Staff were friendly and courteous. Amenities were clean, and fun for kids! Price was fair, courtyard is convinent and close for little ones to slip back to the room if need be. Fun little getaway!

This hotel has everything you need to have an amazing family vacation! The staff are very friendly and willing to help with anything. They also work hard to keep the place very clean. The pool and play structure were big hits with our family.

My wife and I stay at this hotel 2-3 times per year when we visit her daughters who live in the city, and also for a week as we travel down to Texas for the winter. The staff are always very friendly and personable, the rooms clean and the beds extremely comfortable. Doc Magilligan's pub which is onsite has very good food at decent prices. Their pool and hot tub are very nice. Can't say enough about this establishment. It is one of the two best hotels that we stay at, (the other also a Best Western Plus located in North Little Rock AR.). We definitely recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for 2 nights. We took advantage of the restaurant credit, breakfast and game vouchers, included in our rate. Our patio room off the pool was so comfortable and convenient, We went in to the pool and hot tubs several times-so relaxing. The restaurant has amazing irish food- try the irish sampler. The breakfast was hearty and delicious. The staff in both the restaurant and the hotel was very friendly and helpful. We did not find it necessary to leave the hotel the second day we were there. Food, pool, relaxation. perfect.

This was our 2nd visit in 12 years, but there were certian things we remembered and avoided if possible.. When in the courtyard the rooms get HOT! I mean - can't sleep, sticky sweat to your pillow hot. So, we were down at the end, and asked for a fan, and that made it great! I would not suggest the 2nd floor if you can avoid it though, we did that th 1st time around and had to open the door to the hallway for airflow - we literally propped it open all night. This time, the fan made a huge difference, but we also were not directly IN the courtyard but off down one side so keep that in mind. If you like to sleep cold - choose the tower not the courtyard would be my suggestion.

We had a great time at this hotel. We have already been recommending it to friends since we left. The service was over the top and rooms were amazing. Next trip we would book the tower. The atrium was a huge booking point as we took my sister and her family.

I have been to this property numerous times . This weekend did not disappoint check in was quick. This property boast a great pool in a atrium with two hot tubs and a courtyard. There was live music on Saturday. I have gone on the weekdays before I would recommend that as this place was packed On the weekend

Very well kept and maintained older hotel with very friendly, caring and helpful staff. We've spent most of our time in the courtyard (pool, playground, seating areas and the arcade). Our room was perfect for what we needed. Since we've left our kids (2.5 & 5) have not stopped asking us when we are going back.

Very good experience. We stay and have a blast of fun while being on Canada. It's affordable and for the price everything was good and nothing was a problem. Can't complaint at all and I will definitely return soon. Close to lot of attractions and stuff.

Stayed for two nights on our first stay with CairnCroft BW. Kids had a blast and want to visit again. Lots of food options around the place if you don't want to venture out. Thick towels provided for the pool

Steve made this experience far better than we could of expected. The pool temperature was also amazing. The entire area was kept clean and tidy, Steve ensured all guests had what they needed, helped people with luggage on stairs if they needed, and made sure we had a great experience. Customer service in this industry seemed to have been lacking over the last few years, but not here. The servers and waitresses at the restaurant and golf lounge were also incredible, front desk staff were very friendly too. Great rooms, clean, quiet, updated. We will be back!

We traveled with a hockey team to this hotel to play in a tournament in the Falls. Family with kids of all ages had an amazing time. Rooms were clean, food was great, pool/ hot tubs were fantastic. overall great place to stay.

If I could give the Cairn Croft a minus star rating it would be -50 stars. Worst hotel experience of my life and I will never go back. I will likely change my preferred hotel due to this experience!!!

Rooms were very clean. Bathrooms had all amenties. Pool was nice as was the hot tub. Location is a little far away from the typical amenities found near Clifton Hill area. You will have to drive as it is too far for walking.

Such a great experience staying here. Was good for the kids and parents. Hotel is close to everything. We enjoyed taking the shuttle just outside down to the falls. Will definitely be staying here again.

Travelled with family and had a good time. Enjoyed the restaurant, atrium, and pool. Many members of our group walked to the falls and thought it was a great adventure (they were younger AND walking enthusiast, it took them 20 minutes). Many families so they do become concerned if there is too much noise after 11. Hotel staff were extremely nice, helpful, and really seemed to enjoy working there. It really brightened up our trip to see their smiles and joyful attitude. Rooms are a bit dated but the rest of the experience made up for it.

We took our grandsons here for a little vacation. The hotel is surrounded by alot of fast food restaurants and a No Frills next door. We were met by a friendly voice at the reception desk who checked us in and explained how to get to our room and any information we needed. If you have mobility issues do not get a second floor room in the courtyard as there are no elevators. Our room was a nice size with a large mini refrigerator and coffee maker, no microwave. The room was spotless and had plenty of towels for everyone. Our room overlooked the courtyard and the spaceship climber and pool. It was a Good location as we could see the boys going back and forth to the courtyard and the climber when we sat at the table and chairs outside our room. This hotel is definitely kid friendly. We had dinner in our room one night from the Irish pub on site. The food was delicious and worth the money paid. I definitely recommend this hotel for a family vacation. We will be back again.

BW Cairn Croft is clean every time we go, the staff has always been friendly and accommodating, and there is lots of fun activities for kids with the pool and hot tubs, playground, and the new arcade.

We had an awesome stay, all the staff member were nice, and happy to answer my 5 year olds questions about hotels and how they work. Checking in was easily and simple using the pre check in option. Pool and court yard were great way to escape the cold weather.

Over all the night time could not sleep pool lounge area closes at 11 pm but staff does not monitor this area it seems cause people drinking to 4 am loud voices and laughing . wasn't aware of the $15 parking fee

We come every year to stay a night with our family. Great place for the kids to be entertained with swimming and arcade while the adults can socialize! The hotel is very clean and the rooms are the perfect size even when adding in an extra cot for a child to sleep on.

From friendly welcoming staff to a clean comfy room. Pool is well maintained and clean courtyard is awesome. Our room (106)had entrance from parking which is convenient for bringing in luggage. And patio doors to access pool. Close to all amenities and attractions. Met a lot of locals that go there just because it's a great budget friendly place. We went in March just before March break for kids ( prices may vary)

This was our second time at the best western cairn Croft and we had an amazing time again. The atmosphere in the courtyard makes you feel like you're on a Caribbean vacation. Lots of stuff for families and kids to do without even leaving the hotel.

Great value for the money, amazing staff (especially Steve). Clean rooms, area, pool and hot tubs well maintained. We stay here often, its away from the main strip, but so many things available in the area. ie. restaurants, shops, grocery etc. it is only approx. 10 minute drive to the falls

Book well in advance because you want the rooms in the Courtyard for easy access. It can become noisy in the AM but usually not until around 8am. Overall we had a great weekend and will definitely be back!

Friendly people, clean hotel and lots for the family to do. The pool, Hot tub and kids play area were spectacular, was nice to have a pool side lounge and Doc's (Hotel restaurant) is excellent and had a great band Saturday evening. All in all really enjoyed the experience.

Stayed in room 127 not sure why they would let any customer stay in this room. The shower didn't work and room was old and dated. The chlorine is so strong needs better ventilation. It's a real shame as the amenities are great!

Staff we interacted with were great. Room was clean and fixtures were all in working order. Shower had good water pressure. It's definitely worth paying an extra $100 for their 'Fun Pass'. I didn't see it advertised anywhere but read about it on another trip adviser review. For the extra $100 you get parking included ($15 each night) $25 arcade pass for each child, made to order breakfast each moring, and a $25 per night dining credit. Lows: Atrium lounge area was not cleaned during our visit( some people are slobs unfortuneatly, and leave their garbage lying around) The carpetting should have been vacuumed and the lounge couches should have been brushed free of food particles etc Our room 216 had the worst mattresses we've ever had the displeasure of trying to sleep on. They had no give and we could feel the springs in them. Our friends had a similar room on the same floor but we learned at check out time after the second night that their room was equipped with upgraded pillow-top mattresses. The beds were definitely a deal breaker for us, and we would not stay again as we were both very sore after 2 nights- backs and shoulders The pool area was kept very clean and the the temps of the pool and hot tubs were ideal. I liked the location with grocery stores etc a 3 minute walk away.

Stayed for a while here. Staff are not friendly nor are the supervisors. Seems like a Very poor work environment. Owner seemed obnoxious and did not have any time to talk. Our business is now staying with a more positive and friendly environment oriented hotel down the street.

This is a great hotel. It's a bit off the main drag so you would want to be ready to walk to the attractions (or drive) but the hotel itself offers great entertainment. Golf simulator (expensive), arcade (expensive as well), great pool with 2 hot tubs and a kids play area. The pool area is THE BEST with all the trees. It's definitely an older hotel, but they have updated it a bit and is worth it. we stayed in the atrium and loved it! Highly recommend for families. Sound carries though, so if there are partiers, it can get loud before midnight.

Extremely satisfied with the room. Great fire place. Easy check in. Staff was friendly. Restaurant was open late and had live music and great drinks. Location was close to where we needed to be and close to drug store and restaurants.

I enjoyed the two weeks spent in this hotel. The rooms are great and the service is fantastic; I liked the customer service. The cleanliness is commendable, the meals are tasty and the environment wonderful. It is a place I recommend to visitors of Niagara.

Used to visit here many times when our kids were smaller. This was just a get away for us. All in all had a great and relaxing get away. Pros: * Pool area improvements and seems more cleaned up * New hot tubs add a more modern feel * Atrium was always clean and being cleaned, with everyone friendly * Very relaxing atmosphere in the atrium. Was able to have a drink and now one bothering you about it. * Location.... 2 minutes by car to Cilffton Hill and beside you are a drug store, no frills, dollar stores, fast food, etc. * Lots of towels available in pool area Cons: * Poolside rooms need upgrade -- unchanged in about 15 years...went back to old pictures and almost identical. * found old mask in closet... * TV is horrible with poor channel selection and some channels almost unviewable * Charge you destination/tourism tax... had to ask to have it removed, was told they couldn't until I told them they couldn't and could only charge me the $2.00 per night as approved by Niagara council/by-law. Then they removed...however charged my card twice...waiting for one to removed... I think they are starting to renovate rooms..saw someone gutting one while there. You will pay for parking at $15 per night...as hotel was slow...we were able to park just outside our room. Parking charges are becoming the norm in Niagara falls. We always enjoy going here even with the small negatives, but you will find that in any hotel. All in all, had a great time and will visit again in the future.

Our stay was awesome, we went there for my husband's birthday. Everything was perfect except that they had a hockey team on the property so it was a little bit loud at night plus the pool area was a mess with all these kids with their families.

Rooms were clean and really enjoyed the fireplace in the room. Close to other restaurants and stores too. Falls not too far. Loved that they have a pool and games rooms. Would be good for a family or couple.(It was just the two of us)

Me and my spouse had an amazing time at the hotel. The staff is so helpful. My truck was broken into, but the security guard caught the person in the act and nothing was missing thanks to the staff fast acting. The Best Western Carin Croft is our hotel of choice each time we travel to Niagara. It is five star in our opinion and we have bee using it three or four times a year for the past four or five years. The staff is simply great and the facilities are fantastic with two hot tubs, an indoor pool, play structure for young visiters, a great restaurant and a new lounge.

We stayed at this property for two nights this week and it was hands down our favourite hotel in Niagara Falls. We had the FUN package and it was a great deal. We stayed in the Tower in a King Suite with jacuzzi and fireplace. The room and grounds were SPOTLESS. Staff were around everywhere cleaning and tidying. Our room was spacious and bed was comfy. Our only complaint would be that it was a very TINY shower and TINY toilet. Led to quite a few laughs between hubby and I. The pool area and hot tubs were in great condition...and again, the areas were spotless. We ate breakfast at the onsite pub and it was fabulous. The arcade was small, but fun. They also have a cool virtual golfing area in another bar area that was very busy and looked like a lot of fun. Two staff that stood out were Kristin in Housekeeping. She was always moving, smiling and happy. You could tell she genuinely liked her job and enjoyed working there. Steve the porter was very helpful from bringing drinks to the room to finding us an HDMI cord when we realized we left ours at home. We will stay here again as it was such a gem!

We stayed for two nights for a weekend getaway. The hotel's lobby is very nice, and the front desk staff are so very friendly and efficient. We were easily accomodated to change our original room when I complained about the nearby noise from the hall's HVAC. Our experience was relaxing and we really enjoyed swimming in the indoor pool and soaking in the hot tubs. The hotel room was also very clean, a must for us.

We love the pool area with the big hot tubs but the pool was cold. We had a courtyard room first floor which is beside the pool area which we loved! The restaurant is awesome for the food,ambience and friendly service!

Planned a mid-week getaway for myself. I was very well received at reception, which was fast and pleasant. Upgraded to a room with a fireplace and jacuzzi - being a rewards member has dividends. The room on the fifth floor was quite spacious, with multiple windows, however no view to speak of. Everything worked as it should, was clean, and quiet. There is a charge for parking, however fees to park in Niagara Falls in general are quite onerous. No breakfast is offered. The on-site restaurant and bar is highly recommended. Only one flaw on my trip - at exit, I asked for my bill to be sent by email. It was never received.

The hotel is a 5 minute drive to clifton hill. Lots of restaraunts close by within walking distance. Pool and hot tubs open to double vaxxed people. A bit noisy at night but overall great. No microwaves in courtyard rooms but there is a shared one in the courtyard Arcade is for entertainment purposes only and the machine was not working the night we went to use it. Courtyard room washrooms are very small. All in all it is a decent hotel

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel previously when visiting her children and have always been very satified. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the rooms are nice and clean. The beds have always been very comfortable. If you can, get a jacuzzi suite as they are great. Excellent restaurants are close by.

The hotel is conveniently located with groceries, pharmacy and restaurants nearby. While the building and rooms seem old, and the entry doors are still manually opened and closed, the staff made it a pleasant stay. Room was nice with jacuzzi. Special thanks to Sarah Roy and Carling!!

The 350.00/night room fidnt even come with breakfast or parking, not even for elite members, thinking of joining other chain loyalty programs…. Bottled water doesn't cut it upon arrival anymore to these $350 a night places

This was our first time here ans we loved the courtyard pool and hot tubs. The only downfall is the distance from the hotel to the falls. We had small children so it we had to drive and pay parking. We will definitely come back again!

I'm a member of Best Western rewards, I have used this hotel chain oftentimes in the United States for our family vacation, because of the friendly accommodations. However, I was disappointed in the Best Western Plus-Cairn Croft Hotel in Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada about my reservation. By the time we arrived all the way from the U.S, driving more than 12 hours and dealing with the first day of the Canada border opening. I booked 2 weeks ahead and talked to the customer service extensively about the details I wanted filled. So, the room was supposed to have 2 double beds, first floor, courtyard-view, near the swimming pool, and include breakfast. There was NO ROOM RESERVED for us. Then the two receptionists did not greet us, were unfriendly, not helpful giving an optional room that should fit us. My suggestion, train the people on front desk in hospitality no matter the situation , not just taking reservations and money with moody faces. They gave us the room no. 111 first floor room, corner by the hallway back door, and window facing the parking spaces. I really disapproved of the room. Then, we back to the receptionist, we ended up staying 7days there, our room was on the second-floor room 209, not including the breakfast, the microwave was shared by everyone. It was dirty and stinky during the pandemic. I have a toddler, that needs to warm up his milk every morning and evening, so my husband needs to go down and walk far from our room. I didn't know that the little microwave was shared with all the entire guests there. This is not a good idea especially if you have a toddler and during pandemic sharing the microwave! Another concern, the internet is too slow and can't connect right away, my husband was upset the internet disconnected and didn't work. The TV remote didn't work very well, and what channels there were, had nothing interesting. No PBS, Disney, or news channels. However, on the good side, the housekeeper, the pool staff, and helper were very friendly and helpful. The room and pool are clean and sanitized well.

We have been to this hotel in the past several times and will continue to go back every time we are in Niagara Falls. The place always seems well kept and the staff are super friendly! Can't wait to go back!

Clean hotel. We were in a Whirlpool King which was huge as clean. The bed was comfortable and the bedding smelled awesome. Pillows were too soft although there were six of them which made it better. The Whirlpool wasn't strong so not as enjoyable. The bathroom was clean and spacious. WIFI worked great. Such a perfect location for nice restaurant, quick eats and shopping. Nice size mini fridge. Was a little noisy with parents allowing their kids to run and scream in the hallway as they were coming and going.

My kids loved this hotel and we had a lot of fun, but if you are going be prepared for the worst sleep of your life. The rooms are old and run down, the TV doesn't work, the wifi is inconsistent, and the beds are hard as a rock. It was brutal, even my kids had trouble sleeping. I'd love to stay here again with my family but we'll have to pass.

Facility was adequate but no frills. Fee for parking amount should be disclosed on reservation as well as all the taxes and fees. Breakfast was not free - saying it was available is misleading. Exercise room is not air conditioned which makes room almost unbearable to use for serious athletes. No maid service for the five days we were there due to COVID but also should have been noted on reservation.

We had a fantastic stay here. The bed was so comfortable and the staff was awesome. The pool area was very nice and inviting. Perfect location for a couple or for a family with kids. Will definitely be taking my kids there soon !!!

Check in was fast & efficient, staff were friendly. We had booked a double queen room but on check in were offered an upgrade to a king suite. The room was clean, the bed comfy and the linen fresh. The bathroom is room but could do with some renovation as it was dated i.e. shower stall is small. We didn't use the jacuzzi tub but it looked clean. We had to turn the air conditioner off during the night as it was loud and keeping us awake.

Great customer service. Made the process easy. (trying to herd 8 guys is hard enough) Hotel clean **** (my first criteria) and staff friendly and helpful. Package was great - got all the courses that we wanted and tee-times. Restaurant next door was a bonus - good food and professional service staff.

Was a great time to get away during covid. Safety protocol at hotel was top notch. Will be back soon. Rooms were clean as was the lobby. Service was great. We will definetly visit again once everythingopens up.

We loved this hotel. We had an early closing on our house and needed a place to stay for 2 months (63 days, but who;s counting) until our new house was ready for move in. We were made to feel like family. The staff are outstanding and will do anything they can to ensure guests are taken care of. The rooms are spacious, lobby and public areas spotless, and they manage to keep the outdoor areas tidy, not an easy task. We were so excited to get our new house, but was surprised how sad we were to leave the hotel.

Staff is great, rooms are clean and Docs McGilligans features great food and drink. Looking forward to the news golf simulator too. I recommend BWP in the falls as it won't break the bank and it will serve you well on your next visit.

I love Best Western for the comfy beds and pillows. It was quiet and the customer service from (most) of the staff was incredible. (Andrew needs to tune up his hospitality and people skills). Sheets and floors and desk clean. (mirror needed a scrub and so did the bath). But once those were cleaned, it became a second home (for two days). Service was SO good from all the women I interacted with. Like over the top good. It's just Andrew bringing down their average.

This place is clean, the staff is extremely friendly. Parking is very cheap compared to most hotels. The pool area is amazing! We stayed on the second floor of the courtyard and it was so convenient. Like a little village.

We went to this hotel for a weekend away with family and friends. The hotel put us all together in the same area by the gardens and pool .The food, { at the bar was very reasonably priced.] We had our dinner and breakfast there. The people. and our whole experience was fantastic. The guy named Steve working by the pool was so helpful for everything. He was helping everyone get there stuff in and to there rooms. Because we had some small children with us. It was just what we all needed. Very family friendly. We will all be back there again for sure.

We just returned from a weekend at the Best Western Cairn Croft in Niagara. It used to be our favourite family hotel in Niagara but we were left disappointed this trip and would not have booked if we had known it would be this chaotic. This was our second stay there during the pandemic and we felt very comfortable the first time; however, they had a great promotion this past weekend (we were booked even before the promo existed) and I think they just booked way too many guests. When we booked, we were told the pool was being restricted to 10 people only, plus hot tub and we were comfortable with that. CONS: -Inconsistent pool rules: The rules changed every day and we couldn't keep up with the constant changes. Our main reason for choosing this hotel was the pool and reserving took way too much energy. -Not enough staff: We booked a swim spot for day 1 and then arrived to discover that 20 people were actually booked at the same time. It looked like someone had crossed out our reservation on the clipboard (that was left poolside) so that 10 different people could swim. Staff could have easily contacted us if there were questions because we booked with our room number. The hotel should know how many people they are expecting and should have known how busy it would be. Maybe have 1 staff designed to the pool area to manage the reservation, rules, and safety? Your other staff are too busy and were working tirelessly trying to manage the constant barrage of people. Another example: We were swimming during our reserved slot when a random guest entered the pool with kids. I mentioned to the guest that there were already 10 people in the pool and today's attendant was firm on that rule. The guest responded, “Why do I care, I'm checking out today anyway. ”. Off the kids went for a swim. Yes, I advised the attendant so they were aware of the general problem ( but it's not my job to be pointing fingers). -Too many hotel guests with current pool restrictions: Guests who arrived at 1pm were told there were no more swim times available for the rest of the day (we were told we couldn't reserve until arrival). PROS: -The courtyard, pool, hot tub: this will keep us coming. The pool was warm, courtyard was tropical, and hot tub was ON and we were able to keep it to one family at a time. -Staff was friendly and extremely hardworking, specifically Lynda and Jay. Thanks for trying to save our weekend. We will be trying this hotel again but only because it's been our favourite in the past and they previously did a good job with COVID precautions.

Went for a quick visit in the Pandemic. We could not have felt safer. There cleaning protocol is state of the art. It's like being at a southern resort by the pool. I can't say enough about how professional and friendly the staff is. Great job

Beds are comfortable, hotel staff is awesome, rooms are very clean. Highly recommend staying here when visiting the falls. Hotel is very close to restaurants, bars and shopping. The only thing you will regret is leaving.

We stayed for two nights. The room, hallways and the stairways were clean. The Irish restaurant/pub was open for take out and delivery. Since we had not experienced Irish food before, we ordered Tase of Ireland. Have to write it: simply the best!!!

We were so pleasantly surprised by how great our stay was. Carling, at the front desk, went above and beyond the call of duty. She was such a joy to deal with. The room was very nice, clean and modern. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds we've ever used. From check in to check out, it was a great experience!

The hotel has been going through some renovations and it is now truly updated. Everything is clean and tidy, the rooms are terrific and an excellent restaurant is right on the property. Even with all that is going on with Covid-19, I felt secure and safe

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night for a quick get away to Niagara Falls. Our entire experience was excellent! From check-in to the room, using the pool, the restaurant and then the surprise of getting complimentary full hot breakfast vouchers was the icing on the cake. We will definitely be coming back here again.

The on-site restaurant Doc Magilligan's (Irish pub) is exceptional. The food, service and atmosphere are all enjoyable, and a great location to meet up with friends from the area! the staff at the hotel were all friendly and offered their assistance!

My boyfriend and both of our kids ages 7 and 8 stayed here in stead of a bday party because of covid. They had the BEST TIME. We had a room Courtside so it was like being away on vacation because its so tropical and my boyfriend smokes so he could just walk out our back entrance right to outside. The kids were in and out of the pool about five times that evening and 2 more times in the morning. The front desk lady offered the idea of a late checkout so they could swim more. Also we received 2 adult and 2 child breakfast coupons for the restaurant...... wow what a great breakfast!!!!! All in all it was great times only issue was the climate control for the room at night' it was super warm but I never asked for help of reported it. We will be going back next month for the other little man's bday.....We are all pretty excited :):):):)

Feel safe with all the safety measures put in place. Great service for check in/out. We booked courtyard room but it was a bit noisy although we did not mind. Next time will try tower room . Glad we stayed here instead of right in the Falls area. 30 minutes walk to the Fall without worrying about parking there . We enjoyed our stay!

Stayed at this hotel with a group and everyone was pleased with the accommodations and service received. Second time at this hotel and plan to be back in the future. There is a pub/restaurant located beside the hotel which offers a wide range of drinks and menu items. Very convenient.

Stayed in this hotel a year ago for 30th anniversary, enjoyed it so much we came back CHERYL and CRYSTAL as well as every other member of the staff I interacted acted with , but didn't get names, went above and beyond to make sure we were happy And the hotel itself Awesome

I recently stayed at the Cairn Croft in Niagara Falls. I was very impressed with how well they implemented the safety protocols during this pandemic. The staff were friendly and helpful. My room was clean and very comfy. Check in/out was quick and smooth Overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again!

I rarely do any reviews but this hotel is worth my time. I cant explain how happy I was with my stay. The staff was so amazing even for the room service to the man at the pool. I travel a lot and rarely have I seen good service like this. Also the receptionist upgraded us to a junior suite which we were more than happy. I also liked the fact that the pool was still open and that the man who would supervise the pool kept it clean at all times and disinfected after everyone came out of the hot tubs to let everyone have their turns. I would only have liked over the week for the pool to stay open until 10 pm like the week-ends rather than 8 pm but still very pleased. The location for us was perfect! Around 30 mins walk to the falls but worth the walk since you don't hear all the main busy streets late at night. I come to Niagara falls often and I will always come to this hotel now. Thanks to all the staff and your service. Keep your smiles its contagious :)

My daughter and grand daughter stayed here over night, this is an older Best Western Plus, I have stayed in many Best Western Plus and was disappointed in this one. Room was dark and not the cleanest room, on the bathroom vanity there were 3 shampoo 3 conditioners and 3 body wash,1 bar of soap, just thrown on the counter. No big deal I guess as there was dispensers in the shower. But when I took a shower before dinner there was no body wash the container wasn't even in the dispenser. Anyway reported it at the desk as we only had 1 BAR of soap and was told they removed the dispensers due to covid, I said really why only 1 BAR of soap for 3 guess and I said but the shampoo and conditioner is full, he seem lost for words and said really, and said how many soap do you want. No I'm sorry no explanation, nothing. I guess when you use points to book a room they give you the worst room in the hotel, seriously disappointed in this hotel would not recommend it at all.

The hotel is afordable and bang for your buck. The rooms nice but could use an update. The swimming pool area was great for family specially the kids. Will be going back soon. This hotel is a 5-10min drive to cliffton hill or the small outlet mall

Just stayed here and amazing hotel! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We spent most of the time swimming and had pool to ourselves the first night and the second only one other family. Rooms and hotel itself super clean ! Had a great mini vacation.

We were looking for a pet friendly hotel and we found one in Best Western Plus Cairn Croft Hotel. It is centrally located with a Pharmacy and a grocery store in walking distance. We would definitely go back.

I would absolutely stay at the cairn croft hotel again, it had everything we were looking for in a place to stay. It was also very nice that it was not downtown but close enough to walk. The restaurant had really good food and the staff was nice. Pool was also very relaxing and yet fun as well, next time we will bring the kids to enjoy it as well.

Room are very nice with beautiful decors .bathroom very modern .reception people always their to help you .we had a nice time and a drink on the restaurant patio .location is good if you like to do some walking.

We are a couple who values a good night sleep. Unfortunately we were beside a “family suite”. The noise kept us awake until 3 am. To make our visit enjoyable please do not put a “couple “ anywhere near a family suite. We did not know we were beside a family suite until the morning. I was very disappointed because the hotel was not fully booked being that its covid and should of been kept far away from family suits. We reported our dissatisfaction to front desk and got a simple “we apologize”. As soon as I gave room number they knew we were beside the family suite. I'm a Diamond Reward customer and would expect the highest customer service in terms of our complaint. It's unfortunate we had this experience because we love Best Western hotel. On a positive note the hotel is exceptionally clean with sanitize stations throughout the hotel. Floors are marked for social distancing. Felt very safe

The BW Cairn Croft is a clean, safe, well managed hotel. I would highly recommend staying here while in Niagara. Great location. Wonderful pool and the rooms at top notch. The bar and restaurant are really cool.

Great stay. Front desk help was excellent. Room was nice and comfortable. Hotel staff was very helpful. The hotel was very clean. Hand sanitizer was available. Rules and regulations were posted everywhere.

This is a great Best Western and I have stayed in several, including an extended stay at this location. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Everything is clean. The pool area is the nicest I have seen so far. It is great to have it open again, even with limited hours. I would recommend it to anyone.

We are still here but have to leave soon as PEI is opening up to travelers. This hotel is just a block from the Luddy Lane area. We love this place and are on our 4th day here. It is during Covid 19 and the pool, hot tubs and exercise room are closed but the hotel is open. The staff here are very nice and helpful to all your needs. The court yard area is very pretty and opens from the rooms which makes the living area big as you can expand into the court yard iff you have company coming to visit. I would stay here again anytime. It was very competitively priced during Covid 19 and I see a staff member spraying down the whole court yard area everyday, so you know they care about the customers.

Everyone was so friendly, the place was kept clean. Our room was clean, and homey. I'd definitely stay here again. TV content was a little bit of a bummer and the grab and go breakfast was OK, but for the price, it was well worth it. Parking was free because I'm a rewards member, otherwise it was $12/night. Definitely look forward to coming back here again.

We went to Niagara falls to bring our Frenchie to a veterinarian they told us they had one room we could stay in and a staff member brought us a fan it's only may and my dog was panting and uncomfortable so we're me and my husband Also u see the bed was so sorry only noticed because the dogs ball went under there

The room is nice, the price is fair, but the taxes are outrageous, more tha 50%...2 nights at $75=$150 plus tax magically came to $238...$88 in tax ridiculous...I'm only here due to my mother passing, absolutely disgusted.

We booked a 2 nite package including breakfast, a dinner reduction and parking. We were dissapointed to find on the second nite of our stay our actual anniversary the onsite restaurant was not available to guests it was all booked out for a Telus event. Only by accident did we find out at breakfast as it would be very dissapointing indeed to find out as you headed down to dinner on your anniversary. We immediately went to the front desk to sort our options, we heard there was porter service that night, could they deliver poolside? We were told no. There was a bad snowstorm and we had to pile into a taxi head out for dinner. we actually enjoy the restaurant here and had booked specifically so we could laze around and just walk up to the room no weather. Dissapointing. The hotel did pay for our taxi, but a heads up from the hotel not just accidentally finding out would have been better. The restaurant is large enough they could have saved a few tables for guests, glad I am writing this now as restaurants like this hurting from closures should be more considerate of guests. I would certainly think twice before booking. We also lost our free nites stay which is a head office promotion if you stay in Best Westerns for 2 nights, we were planning to. We did contact head office to see if they could extend the free night voucher, but never heard anything back just their team was looking at it and that was months ago. They were also painting the interior of the hotel the whole time we were there would have been nice to be forwarned due to smell sensitivity. The painters also started setting up scaffolding too early in the morning while we were still sleeping. More specifically dropping clanging pieces of metal scaffolding and having loud conversations with staff. I do love the new whirlpool set up that was much upgraded. Wasnt quite the experience we hoped.

I stay in Niagara Falls usually once a week at hotels year round just to get away. We just Live in Hamilton I have never stayed here before, just because I never really looked into it. But last week I called around and pool was open so we came here for 4 nights . Was very very pleased with decission,super awsome staff and manager even guy who was looking after pool which we lived in our stay was awsome. Housekeepers nice.They opened restaurant for take out with smaller menu we have not tried before either. We ordered one of everything food was really good so we will definitely now frequent when they reopen. Came back yest and same great accommodating staff. Got an awsome room for great price due to everything. Had a free room voucher and let me stay in same room. That was awsome of them. My husband works out here right now his job is necessity so as long as they stay open and we are corona free we may come weekly. And the day pool and hot tubs open back we will be here and stay for awhile. I am glad we got to see different room types during our stay as well so we can decide in future what we feel like I had courtyard room 204 and 104 both awsome to walk out for families. And whirpool room also awsome separate shower for husband while I soak. If have any dought about booking here don't. They have awsome facilities awsome staff and food from Restaurant.

Excellent ground floor court yard room with my daughter and family in adjoining room. Staff could not have been more helpful. Five stars for front desk staff and everyone I saw running around sanitizing. Had lovely small bday party for granddaughter and then cake out by the pool.

We have stayed in this hotel with our hockey team for several tournaments. The pool and hot tub area is awesome, the staff are friendly, the english pub ( Doc MacGilligans) has excellent food and the prices are very reasonable. This is our favourite hotel to stay in when we come to Niagara as a hockey team!

We come yearly to Niagara Falls for a Ringette Tournament and we choose this hotel because it is clean but we mostly come to be able to walk to the bar and stumble back to our room after. Doc's has the best Live entertainment I have ever seen in a bar and never disappoints. Some of our teammates bring their family and love the beautiful pool area as well. I enjoyed a drink in the Hot tub after our last game. This hotel has never disappointed us that is why we keep coming back.

This hotel has very basic rooms, but the indoor courtyard makes it a wonderful place to stay. The bar/restaurant has great ambiance and good food and service. Staff go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. A nice pool and two hot tubs are a nice added feature.

This hotel has a lot of potential but it dropped a big surprise on me, and I hate surprises. I booked our room online and was told that the $82.50 was non-refundable. I provided a credit card number and was led to believe the room was pre-paid and the total included all fees and taxes. After checking in, I was notified by my credit card that the hotel had just charged my account for $144.50. When I went to the front desk to ask why, I was told the room was not pre-paid, that they had added a $12.00 parking fee (despite the fact that the property is surrounded by free parking) and another refundable $50 deposit in case I smoked in the room. The hotel may well be within its rights to charge those fees, but I don't think it's fair not to tell me first. As I said, I hate surprises and that was a big one. Also, if, like me, you have mobility issues, the entrance has a significant incline and when it's wet or snow covered, it looks treacherous. It didn't help that there were cars (staff?) parked under the entry canopy overnight, even blocking the handicapped parking spot. I had to drag my luggage out between the cars and down the incline to my car. Shame!

Four of us on a 2 night mini-getaway to wine country. This is the only Hotel we stay at on our yearly trip to the area because it's always excellent. It's located close to everything, but not in the middle of the hustle and bustle. The superb restaurant located through the lobby is an added bonus.

We try to do a mini-staycation here once a year. Always enjoy the experience, and Doc MacGilligan's is Excellent! The room was clean and comfortable, and was right on the enclosed courtyard. It's like a southern vacation without having to travel!

We were there for two nights with out hockey team, was a great experience - kids had a blast - swimming pool area is great. Staff was very friendly too. Rooms were clean. Restaurant on site was good. Hotel is within walking distance to some restaurants, and 5 minute drive to Niagara Falls and Clifton Hill.

This is a perfect mini-resort at a hotel, that lets you make it what you need it to be. For us it was about getting away and spending time with our 5 year old in a pool. That's all she needed for this to be a success. The building is older, but rooms are clean and the staff are 5+star quality. This used to be an outdoor courtyard, that has been enclosed, which gives it a very unique layout with real trees beside your pool. Water was very warm! Awesome trip, we will be back!!

Great little place for a young family. Kids loved the rooms overlooking the pool. Pool is warm!! Hot tubs great! Play area fun!! There is a height restriction for the play area so I would say it's only for kids age 6 and under--but many kids used it anyway without a problem. Would definitely return. It would be perfect for a family reunion if you reserved the rooms on bottom floor right at the pool - rooms in the area of 103.

First and foremost, the staff is fantastic. 5-star service for 3 star motel/hotel, They made this a 4 star as oppose to just a 3 star. They went out of their way to ensure you enjoyed your stay. All areas' including rooms and pool area was always well kept. This would be probably the number one reason I would stay again at this location. Challenges. Everyone will have their own option so please read this for information purposes and not against the hotel. - Room: Our 2nd floor room had a patio exit to the pool area. The heater in our room was somewhat noisy but functioned. Our shower drain could never match the flow of water thus always built up during use. Since the bathroom had an exterior wall, the room had its own separate baseboard heater. The problem was it was located right next to the toilet. If you were not careful, you ended up with a toasty leg. We kept ours off all the time to ensure the kids didn't get burned. - Parking: You are going to pay $12CAD for your vehicle simply because there is no free parking in Niagara Falls. The problem, this location is over a mile away from the center of the tourist area and yet you are still being charged for parking that shares space with an on-premise restaurant whom patrons will share the same parking. If you intend on staying, just assume you are adding another $12CAD to your bill per day. - If you purchase a room with breakfast, take note, they are ‘vouchers' (not a buffet or full menu) with only four meal options. To credit, every meal was well prepared and proportioned but still limited fixed options. Unlimited coffee and tea but only one small glass of milk for the kids included???? Meals are served in the attached restaurant (Magilligan's). - Depending on what type of room you get will impact your stay at this location. Certain areas are ‘walk-ups' only as was our room was with exterior entrances. Some rooms front door faced the enclosed pool area while other rooms (like ours), had the patio door facing inward while our main door was exterior. If you have a room with a patio exit to the inside area, you are ‘sharing' your patio space with your other guests on the same floor. Some parents of small children used this area as their own person playpen for their kids, causing uninvited guest to peer into our room at all hours. Because of this we always kept our blinds closed. This was the only natural light these rooms could have since the front of the room faced exterior and only had the bathroom on this side. - Sound: If your room faces the enclosed pool area, be mindful sound travels extensively. We heard every conversation in the pool area as well as every child's enjoyment in the play area, patio and pool. We even heard conversations between maintenance workers as they prepared the area every morning. - Convenience: The WEGO bus (red line) stops right out in front of the hotel and can take you to anywhere around the falls. There are plenty of (inexpensive) food establishments on Lundy's Lane and the surrounding area. If you have small children and not plan on heading downtown every day, this is an ideal option, but if you don't have kids and are looking for a quiet setting, you may want to reconsider.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Pool is nice and warm and hot tubs were very relaxing . The pool is in a Courtyard and has a resort like feel. Staff are very friendly. There are courtyard rooms that are great for families. There is also tower rooms in a quieter section. We will definitely return to this hotel.

We went for Valentine's weekend.We got a package deal for Oh Eh Dinner Theatre as well as a night stay.Beautiful hotel.Great Irish bar and made to order breakfast was included.Loved the beds.Would not hesitate to book it again!

This a great hotel for families or couples this hotel has a great pool that is in a indoor courtyard with some rooms facing pool. We always ask for a ground floor court yard room if you have kids this is a great idea as they can sleep while mom and dad can relax Just outside in courtyard all staff is amazing one staff member Steve said hello when i was at pool and was even entertaining families playing ball with them he loves his job and it shows also not there is a bar at pool where you can order finger foods or the odd drink

Upon arrival the staff was very welcoming and helpful. Was offered help with our luggage but we declined. The room we stayed in had a king size bed and a lovely fireplace. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. There is a restaurant on site if you don't feel like going out. We enjoyed our stay and will book there again.

Met some friends for drinks and dinner. Perfect spot ss you can sit by the indoor pool at tables outside your room,and enjoy beverages and snacks. Take a dip in the hot tub or pool, and back to the beverages. The attached pub had really good food and lots of beer and drink options. Very convenient Rooms were clean and well appointed. Price was lower than expected. Walking distance to the falls and most attractions.

Enjoyed a recent stay at the hotel and whist the hotel experience was 5 star the staff were the real stars! We had a minor repair required in the bathroom that was fixed in minutes upon our arrival which set the tone! Steve and Devon were a great help as we had a large amount of luggage and a display to set up, thanks guys! We had a number of special requests for the front desk and the Ladies on duty were fantastic! Loved the pool and hot tub and the tropical feel even though it's February. The poolside bar was a nice touch and again the staff were first rate, Stevie you were a Wonder, my partner loved the “Keto” friendly cocktail you made for her! If staying in the Falls for business or personal pleasure there's only one place to be the BW Cairn Croft! Comfortable rooms, plenty of parking, Doc's Irish pub right next door and of course the Oscar goes to the staff for all they did for us and a few friends that were staying there with us! Have stayed here several times with youth hockey teams. Courtyard rooms are great for this kind of event. Hotel offers everything required for both adult and youth, including a restaurant and pub with live bands, so no need to leave in the evenings. Great service.

This is a pretty good hotel for our Childs hockey team weekend...pool and hot tubs with poolside bar was a nice place to hang out with team families. Staff is extra nice, friendly and most of all, competent. Next door to McDonalds was handy for breakfast, however, the Irish Pub was onsite and great for food and Live music in the evening.

The hotel and room were clean and tidy, we actually commented on the amount if staff constantly cleaning and taking care of guest areas. The pool and hot tub area were awesome, (courtyard), and we enjoyed it very much. It was a very nice 3 day weekend getaway. Originally planned a 2 night stay and added a third.

The hotel was great, but the best thing about the stay was the hotel staff. Quite simply, they were awesome ...friendly, courteous, always with a smile and focused on providing a great customer experience! You won't be disappointed!

Everything was as we asked for and expected. We had had problems in the past with location of our Courtyard room and with unexpected cockroaches which the management would not accept were actually cockroaches and would not accept responsibility for to the point of almost calling us liars. We found no evidence of ANY bugs. I checked carefully...

Our family has returned to this hotel every year now for 3 years. They have a wonderful pool, 2 great hot tubs, a play area for my grandchildren all under 9. The bar/food service at poolside means the kids and the parents/grandparents can relax together. The front desk/restaurant/bar staff are friendly and accommodating. We'll be back next year too!

The reason we went to this hotel was for the pool and it was totally worth it. The courtyard and pool area were super fun and tidy. Great for young kids. It was especially nice at night with all the lights. We liked the restaurant a lot too. I will say the rooms were good, but nothing super fancy. But the prices were reasonable. be mindful of the $12/parking that will get tacked on to your bill all in all a very fun, unique place to stay without braking the bank.

This is a complete hotel in Niagara Falls. They have the basic things you need for an enjoyable vacation. One outstanding feature is the pool. In the freezing cold outside the hotel, family and friends can enjoy the bonding moments in the pool. This might be the cheapest hotel in Niagara Falls. Their restaurant has an Irish concept and serves a fantastic menu and drinks at affordable prices. You can't walk from the hotel to the falls - a little bit far. You might use the red line of WEGO Bus to reach this place. They have laundry, gym, pool, mini bar, restaurant, and business center. Next time you need a cheap but high end service and facilities in Niagara Falls, you must consider this. Definitely, highly recommended to all!

Was charged the full rate even though we couldn't use the actual facilities we paid for. Pool was closed down, and hot tub someone puked in. But we were told that it would all be back open in a hour, but the water wasn't drained so how did they clean it. I was told that was the procedure for that situation, not sure but doesn't sound right. Wouldn't recommend

Really nice Best Western! Doc MacGilligans bar and grill was great, food and atmosphere. A little too far to walk to the falls which was our main plan. Only complaint was the charge for parking! I'm all our travels this was a first.

This was our second time visiting in the last few months. My one daughter liked it so the whole family came this time. We had some issues such as out heater was not working, our remote was not working and our cable went out. I mentioned this to the front desk while checking out and she offered me free parking (12 bucks) and breakfast for the four of us. I said thanks and went to eat. We never even sat down. I will not get into the whole thing but when someone gets in your face who is visibly angry and tells you in front of your family that he knows hospitality because he owns the whole place that is frightening as doing that would be number one on the list of things not to do. We left right after he did that. No way my wife or I were comfortable to stay after that. The hotel was fine for what it is but we cannot go back considering.

I was here for a hockey tournament which dictated alot of rules of what you can & cannot do. I was placed in room 354. This room was not on the block of rooms booked by my team. I was there from Saturday to Monday. I called the front desk at approx 10:15pm Sat night to complain about loud music coming from below. I was told that most likely, I was hearing the band playing in the bar that would continue until 1PM!!! We had an early morning game & I pushed to have something resolved as I wanted to go to bed now (10:15pm ) not 1pm! I was then transferred to a " night manager" who said he would have to come check to see if it was noise from the band!! EXCUSE ME! Like I call to complain for no reason! Because I was so mad, he arranged to have me moved to a different room! Not happy because we were disrupted & had to leave our stuff in the original room! Although the 2nd room was better, it still had its noise issues. Although the daytime manager was receptive to my concern, I did not receive full compensation for a sleepless night! The level of noise I was subjected to & expected to tolerate was over and above any noise tolerated by tournament attendees. Hypocrisy at its finest. This hotel is not hockey tournament friendly & do not stay in any rooms that end in 54!!

When I am in Niagara I always stay here. The employees are helpful and friendly. Beds are very comfortable and the room is very clean. The on site irish pub is amazing and well worth the stop in! In my opinion there is no better place to stay!

The so-called queen beds we paid for are really full/double beds. I asked about this at the front desk and was told that there's such a thing as a "hotel queen", but this doesn't seem right. A queen should be 60 inches wide, and these were 4 1/2 feet.

I have been coming to this location for over 20 years . It is the best bang for the buck when it comes to great family time together. My 4 grandbabies husband son and daughter in law all had the best time .

This hotel has the most fabulous indoor courtyard with pool and newly installed hot tubs in Niagara. The restaurant is outstanding and staff are absolutely wonderful. It may not have the biggest rooms or be within walking distance to attractions, but it has so much going for it. I've been here numerous times and hope to continue to return.

Hotel posts beautiful images of a newly renovated hotel, this is not the case. Stayed on the 5th floor and room was old but clean. Hotel staff was very polite, however when we arrived we were told there was a fee to park, which would have been fine, if there was parking in the lot. Had to park in the No Frills lot next door and risk being towed. Would not recommend for anyone looking for things to do close by, neighborhood is a little seedy. Not what I thought I was getting. Very disappointed.

This place is amazing and the fireplace tower rooms are beautiful. The rate was far below what I would have exected...The location is great and the WEGO bus line stops at the front door. The RED Line takes you all around the falls are with ease...

We had a room which we could come out and sit by the pool it was very enjoyable. We will be bringing the grandkids next time to play in the play area and have a swim. The staff is very nice,rooms clean.

This hotel and their amazing friendly staff created a resort experience right in main Niagara Falls. We have been to falls many times so had no interest in doings the tourist activity. We booked for a relaxing get away and that is exactly what we had. Our poolside room gave us the option to sit relax in the pool, hot tub and enjoy the poolside bar. Great experience.

Stayed in room 212, very quiet comfortable room. The only negative is that there was a really strong chemical smell in room some kind of carpet cleaner or something. It was pretty bad. Other than that the room was pretty good.

Pervert masturbsting in courtyard exposing himself to children. Crackhead physically hurt my son and threatened a group of children. Hotel handled situations horribly. Never even offered an apology to anyone.

The hotel is located in a nice area with grocery shopping and restaurants nearby. Staff was very pleasant, especially CJ, Cara, and Myriah. Price was reasonable for the hotel and getting points a nice bonus.

Stayed here for one night and was very impressed. Service was quick and efficient. The gentleman that greeted us was very thorough and polite. The room looked recently updated and beds and pillows were super comfy. The shower had amazing water pressure and I liked how the shampoo and conditioner had dispensers on the wall in the shower. The pool area/courtyard is one of the nicest I've seen at a BW for sure...only downfall was my elderly parents rooms heating/cooling system did not work and they were not offered a room change even, just a plug in heater. Manager following day offered discount though on future room.

We stayed in a Courtyard room. It was fine for us, but if you are looking for quiet the Tower rooms might better suit you. We liked that our car was outside our door, on one one side, for easy unpacking and packing, and the Pool etc was on the other side which is assessible thru a patio door. Friday night was awesome, we sat by the pool, had a hot tub, went to the attached lounge. There was a band. It was a good evening. Saturday there was a wedding, and they took over the courtyard, so it was very loud, and we couldn't use the pool or hottubs as they were full of kids etc. I guess we could if we wanted to be splashed by kids which we didn't. The noise finally stopped around 11pm which was good at least. I would return, but I think I might come during the week when I hope it would be quieter.

Perfect Weekend... We took a break from Toronto for a few days to recharge from the hustle and bustle of city life. And BWP was perfect. The service outstanding and the pool and jacuzzi even better. We traveled with our child and she enjoy it very much. The room around the pool was super convenient to supervise the kids.

Great hotel in a easy to get to location away from the strip. The Restaurant experience was not so great... slow cold breakfast. Room clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Pool area is good and clean. Would stay here again.

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the years with my kid's ringette teams, staying both in the courtyard section and in the tower. Courtyard is good for younger kids...its louder (staff shuts it down at 11pm) but you can sit at a table, enjoy a beverage, and watch your kid in the pool.....the large screen is nice to watch a sports event. Grocery store is right next door. Lots of fast food choices very close.

We had a great stay! All staff were very friendly and the hotel was very clean. The pool area is very cool! Nice pool setting and even had a pool bar. Loved that they had a craft show in the hotel the weekend we stayed!

This location was awesome as we were travelling across the border into Niagara Falls New York the next early morning for a World Karate Championship. Unfortunately, they did not offer a complimentary breakfast for our early morning departure.

The rooms are very clean and updated.. Some located with stairs only and some access with an elevator.. Sometimes there is a smell of chlorine that permeates the nostrils upon entering... Good location and lots of parking... Handicap accessible.. The restaurant is absolutely stunning in its Irish decor.. The meals are incredible and reasonably priced..love this place and will and have gone back many times..

Always enjoy our stay at this hotel. Have stayed several times and it has always been a pleasant positive experience and we are looking forward to our future stays...we already have 2 more dates coming up

This hotel seems to be centred around the pool area, as rooms seem to be all over the place. Room 210 out the back. Comfy beds and a great hairdryer.Clean but dated. Coffee machine, fridge and air con., Microwave in general area by the pool. Wifi not the best. Good food at the adjourning restaurant although a little pricey.

We had an amazing stay here at the Best Western Plus Cairn Croft hotel. We had a room adjacent to the pool and courtyard area, the pool is very family friendly and the 2 whirlpool spas were extremely relaxing.. The court yard area has plentiful seating and tables, there is an game arcade area for all ages and a Play structure for the kids also... Our room was well appointed and very clean... A suggestion for couples who are looking forward to some quiet time together, book your room in the tower section of the hotel. The in house restaurant is an AWESOME place for breakfast, dinner and late night...

Comfortable rooms, nice indoor pool and courtyard, helpful front desk staff, but expensive restaurant (compared to others nearby) and very slow service. Stay here, but eat elsewhere. Breakfast is not included with the room rate and you have to pay for parking too.

Our stay was great, nice comfortable suite and friendly staff. Location is great as it sits in the centre of may restaurants and grocery stores. About 3 min drive from the falls. I would recommend this

I am not certain if the room we ORIGINALLY received was due to the booking from Third party ( Travelocity, Expedia... etc.) or hotel decided to dump the room on us. This was in the swim area ! AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS. I traveled a lot and even stayed in Old Vegas hotels with smoking room and smells but this was WORSE. This was room 216 and I am not sure if other rooms are in the same state. Warning ! MOLD MOLD MOLD. While we entered without inspecting, i spent 15 minutes in hopes of maybe it was just me; However, things got worse in 15 minutes, roof of my mouth and throat dried up and my sin begun coughing. There were no windows to open and if you had it would have been the chlorine smell from pool right in Your room. I stepped outside to breathe and I felt suffocated. I looked at their air vent and it was black all around. They had no heat or air control in this damp room either. We immediately packed and started to look at other hotels to escape. The front desk accommodated a room in main building for us, and saved our vacation to Niagara. The 1 stars I am giving it is for their staff effort to help us, otherwise they get Zero. The swim pool area rooms need to be shut down and inspected for mold by health department. This room and maybe many others in that area should have never been allowed. I hope we dont have long term issues from 15 minutes breathing in that room. You may want to pay 80 Canadian dollars more and book a different hotel, closer to the falls. This was and first time in my life I had to leave a room.

Loved this Best Western hotel located in the historic district of Lundy's Lane in Niagara Falls. We stayed here in May 2019 in a large room/suite with king size bed, sofa, two TVs, log effect fire and great size fridge. Bathroom was large with a good size shower and toiletries and towels provided. The hotel is located on Lundy's Lane and it is about a 20 minute walk to the Falls but there is a local bus stop right at the door and this takes you on a circular route around the town and you can hop on and off. The hotel has a great indoor swimming pool located in the covered courtyard of the hotel with access to restaurant and bar and to some rooms (free pool towels). The Irish restaurant/bar attached to the hotel serves great food all day and there is a McDonalds next door. Parking available. We went with my aunt and uncle who live in Canada and they are Best Western members so we got a fantastic rate. Worth visiting nearby is the Lundy's Lane Battlefield and Cemetery. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Very pleasant staff, extremely professional and efficient. Room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Pool and sunken garden area provided very pleasant surroundings. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

The hotel was nothing special. The room was fairly clean but small. The pool area was decent, none of the vending machines worked. The staff was very welcoming. The temperature control in the room was difficult to read. The wifi was horrible, it kept going out and switching to my data. The tv channels kept freezing.

This is one of the best hotels I've been in. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. The courtyard was nice and and our view from our room was amazing. The next time I go to Canada I definitely am staying here.

Over priced. Poor parking. $12/day and I still had to park at Pizza Hut which was allowed because it is "on their property." They allowed tour buses to park across about 6 prime guest parking spaces instead of further back. As a lone female guest it was not a good walk. Front desk staff was useless.

The rooms were clean, comfortable and attractive. Quiet, fantastic and helpful staff, no amenity overlooked and very pleasurable property very near the tourist area. I will definitely stay here on future trips.

Positives first … staff was great, friendly and professional. Security did his best to resolve our issue. Hotel has nice indoor pool and play area for kids. Rooms were comfortable and up to date. Quick to respond to questions/concerns. Negatives - not totally a reflection on the hotel, but group of grown men (golfers) acting like children were making way too much noise that carried throughout the hallway and into our room. Hotel should have kept them to one area and realized a family with young children in their vicinity would be a bad idea. The hotel would have been good to see the potential troubles and situate us far from their rooms. Bar/restaurant inside hotel would have been a nice extra, except many of these same people were being far too loud for a restaurant setting. Fortunately, plenty of places to eat within walking distance - and we left the restaurant for this reason and ate elsewhere.

As many others have said a clean and friendly hotel next to restaurants and shops and if like us you do not have a car, a great , quick and cheap regular bus service into the Falls area. Difficult to fault this hotel on any account.

Everything was clean and well taken care of. We were very surprised how busy this location was during the week in the early fall. I think the price was a bit high, but comfort was more than what we expected.

Great room...in a wonderful area..May have missed it...but a Parking Fee (not in the busiest area) or NEAR the Falls - I wasn't aware of the FEE till we checked out..and restaurant was attached (fee) so the NORMAL excellent breakfast that is included with most Best Western stays was not available... so, overall...the stay was excellent....was just MORE expensive than we expected....the POOL was beautiful and we did have a wonderful "patio/pool" view and that was a great bonus...

A well situated, clean, friendly, convenient hotel with all the amenities you need for adult or family stays. We've been coming here regularly once a year for several years now and book way ahead to make sure we get our rooms.

I love this hotel! You can tell the pride poured into this location by just observing. Everything is immaculate and if it isn't , this funny ,little guy comes around in a Hawaiian shirt and fixes everything, he's so diligent. I can tell this is a family owned business just from all the great details and care. The restaurant attached is fantastic, great service, excellent food and some of the best damn bands I've ever heard playing in the evening. Kudos to Andrew at the front desk, great service! Totally recommend a stay here! Oh and the pool and play area are amazing!

The staff is awesome,the pool oasis is really nice with a cabana bar on weekends and kids play area,the facilities are very well looked after and rooms are nice the Irish pub in the hotel is great and great food great bang for your buck

We were at Best Western Plus Cairn Croft Hotel for 2 nights getaway. The best western team was excellent.We were lucky to get an upgrade .The grounds are very nice, the gym is clean and all the equipment in good order . Room was clean and very comfortable .You have to visit the Irish pub on the premises. It was a great experience for us .Keep up the good work ,we will be back soon .Thank you .

This hotel is ideally located and the price per night is reasonable. Our room was very clean. Unfortunately, the room has no natural light and the decor is so dark, that even with all the lights turned on, it's still very dark. Our biggest complaint is related to how noisy both the housekeeping staff and guests are....nobody seems to get the notion of talking quietly and not slamming doors. Definitely would not consider this hotel in future.

My wife and I stayed here as part of our road trip across America. The property was good, the room was good and has just about everything you need, close to other restaurants, local shopping and supermarkets. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and also very helpful with ideas of what to do in the area. Highly recommended and I would return when I'm next visiting Niagara Falls.

The entire staff is amazing, everyone from the front desk to the cleaning staff makes you feel at home and quickly take care of any questions or concerns you have. I have stayed in many hotels for work and this one is by far the one where I felt the most comfortable.

Enjoyed my stay. Room is small but fine. Clean everywhere. pool was checked twice for cleanliness (at 4 and at 9:30) by an employee and the hot tubs were checked as well. Great to see that. Would recommend. I paid $215 on a long weekend which is a little high but comparable for niagara falls, so I lowered the value a little

CJ checked us in ~ wonderful. The manager on duty was very accommodating. A great find! Affordable for a large family. The rooms were clean and quiet. We were located by an exit door. Very convenient. Pool was a plus. Not to hot for being August. Yes, paid for parking but $12 is better than $70-90 a night that the downtown hotels were charging!!! Next time we are in Niagara Fall we will stay again.

We Love Niagara Falls. My daughter wanted to treat her 2 children before going back to school. So we all went. Best Western Carin Croft. have wanted to stay here for awhile it was great!! We had adjoin rooms to make it more roomy for the kids also to spend time together. The rooms were great. We are hoping to go back next year as well. It is located by a Mac Donald's restaurant, also the Flying Saucer Restaurant which we all enjoy their restaurant is also great. reasonable rates as well. Parking not as great but once you learn the area for it it's ok.

the indoor pool/playground was a hit with the kids and the pub was fantastic with great food, service and beverage selection. the staff were very friendly and helpful and we were able to book an additional night in the same room with no problems at all.

This hotel was very clean and had two hot tubs and a large pool in the center of the court yard. It was located within 25 minutes walking distance to the falls and a grocery store along with a beer store was very close to the hotel. Rooms were very quiet and very clean.

This place was a little further from the Falls than I expected but that did not make this a disappointing stay! We loved the pool, the room was nice and clean. The staff where amazing. And it's in an area of Niagara where you can find anything you need. My only con to this place would be that they charge you for parking.

Very clean and up to date property. The only issue was the TV was difficult to use. Not a big deal but annoying. Restaurant connected to the property was very nice. Good breakfast options. Doc Magillans was a nice surprise. Buy your maple syrup at the No-Frills store next door. Very much cheaper!!

We have been staying at Best Western Plus Cairn Croft Hotel frequently for the last 3.5 years. Great value. Very CLEAN! Beautiful restaurant/pub that we have been at various times. Rooms are ALWAYS to our satisfaction. Staff are ALWAYS polite and helpful! Ideal place to relax in at the pool/spa at the courtyard area. This hotel is consistently a 'well run' facility and because of that .. is our 'go to' hotel when in Niagara Falls, On.

the staff , are great, the hotel was spotless, the indoor pool area and hot tubs, are wonderful. we were here for our 30th anniversary and they treated use like royalty, next time in the falls , ill be here

There are so many nice little finishing touches around this hotel. You can tell they don't cut corners here. There's the obvious nice pool with two great hot tubs, and the kids play area, and the small pub right in the pool area. But, even the little things like light fixtures, paint on walls, window coverings, and the architectural mouldings are all examples of that extra something that usually goes unnoticed but makes you feel somewhere special.

We use Niagara Falls as our "get away" destination and have stayed at most of the 4 & 5 star hotels in Niagara Falls over the years. We usually book late, so when we can reserve a room here at the last minute we do. My wife loves the Jacuzzi in the room. Always clean and quiet. Decent Exercise room and pool area. NOT whining about paying for parking ( all hotels do that ) not whining about a free breakfast. Flying Saucer restaurant is right down the road. Relax enjoy > appreciate the well kept hotel. Bed is super comfy with lots of plush pillows.

This hotel did not have complimentary Continental breakfast like all the Best Westerns I have stayed at in the past. It was the only Best Western hotel that I've stayed at that charged for parking, $12! They also charged a 4% tourism fee ON TOP of a city mandated tourism fee charged when the location of the hotel is not even in the prime tourist district. Very disappointing with all the extra fees added.

very nice pool area.....very clean....staff working diligently cleaning....watering many plants ....painting... clearly cared for hotel...breakfast very good in adjoining restaurant which we paid for but very reasonable.....also had to pay for parking....location good ...short walking distance to many restaurants I like....beside a box grocery store in case you need to run over for something ....CAA discount...we have stayed here before....WE GO bus stops right out in front. Rooms small and beds very comfortable....but only sleeping there....we leave room and have fun....good especially if you have kids and want to use the pool:)

We had the opportunity to visit Niagara Falls in Ontario, Canada last weekend. Check in process was taken care of quickly. Staff were very helpful and professional. Our room was clean and nicely decorated with a king size bed. Bathroom clean and updated. Had soap and shampoo dispensers on shower walls. Very convenient. They had a real nice courtyard with indoor pool.and play yard for kids. There was a bar area in courtyard that opens in the evening. There were a few disappointed things on the hotel. Breakfast not included and parking fees. There is a separate restaurant on site which offers great meals. You can charge to your room or pay out right. Prices are reasonable. The WEGO bus stop is in front of the hotel which was a plus.Overall we had a great stay. My husband John still missed his Best Western waffle with BW in the waffle as reward members that was his favorite perk. Despite the all that Definitely would recommend.

This hotel is over priced. No breakfast is included (PLUS?) and they charge extra to park in their lot! It is convenient to catch a bus to the falls. The room and bath are small and outdated. We belong to the Gold Crown Club and this is the most disappointing Best Western we've ever stayed in.

Stayed just the one night whilst on a tour. Well situated for exploring the area, falls in particular. Rooms are of a good size, and beds comfortable. Somewhat strange that the wash basin is in the main room, and not in the same room as the loo and shower, but not a real issue. Shower hot and powerful. Rooms on two floors surrounding a roofed swimming pool and tubs, great for relaxation and with slides for children. Attached to a great Irish pub restaurant. Well recommended

We stayed at the BW Niagara as part of a group for a baseball tournament. We were given a group rate with price guarantee. When checking out, my bill did not match the group rate price, plus there was an additional $12 per night for parking and a tourist tax that they would not remove from the bill. Be prepared for the extra $20+ per night.

The BW Cairn Croft Hotel was excellent, great staff, very clean, nice pool to enjoy, and Best Western is always clean which causes us to book all of our hotel stays at Best Western no matter where we go, including Cornwall, Onterio. The Cairn Croft Hotel is in a location that also allowed us access to all the needed attractions and resturants. The staff called us a taxi which made things much easier. The taxi no kidding arives in less than 2 minutes. Thank you BW for the continual satisfaction!!!

Nice and clean room. Easily accessible pool for kids. Good for family stay in that area. Use the WEGO bus station for transportation to the falls. Good restaurants close by including Tim Horton. Recommended.

Great location. Hotel was very nice and great onsite restaurant. Breakfast NOT included unless in room package. Also charges for parking. Went on Over the Falls tour which picks up and drops off in front of hotel. Very convenient.

Although this hotel is a little away from the bulk of the sights it is well worth it. We stayed on third floor parking side and it was blissfully quiet.Although not shiny and new it offers great standard of care with nicely appointed rooms and bathroom. No safe which surprised me a bit. Staff were prompt, courteous and accommodating. The beds here are quality just replaced a year ago by Simmons beauty rest!! Not soft not hard in fact I asked as we plan on purchasing in near future! Yes they were that nice! There is an atrium in back housing a four foot deep pool which had refreshingly tepid water. Two hot tubs, playground kids and a bar for adults. I would stay here again for sure.

The hotel is a bit further back from the main area of Niagara, and getting to our rooms was a bit confusing as it all based around a central courtyard to houses the pool. Very pleasant hotel if you are staying on a budget. Friendly staff.

The Carin Croft is a great hotel, but the staff, the food/bar and the golf package make it truly exceptional. It starts off with a professional and friendly welcome at the front desk. We then got into our comfortable and clean room that was convenient to the indoor pool and then we headed to the Irish Pub. The pub has a huge variety of beers on tap, lots of bourbon choices and a wide range of Irish/English food. Our party had fish and chips, bangers and mash and Indian Curry, all prepared perfectly and served with a smile. We then walked over the the casino (which was like a 30 min hike and we took a cab home) but the hotel is fairly convenient to all the sights and tourist attractions but just far enough away to stay out of the crazy fray around the falls. The next day we headed over to the Thundering Waters golf course, which was arranged by the Carin Croft staff and we were treated like VIP's when we arrived because of that. Cool course with every hole different. Not long, but lots of trouble and just a fantastic suggestion by the hotel staff. Everything went well during our visit and we will be back for another stay at the Carin Croft.

Covered swimming pool and smaller spas make up the central area with rooms surrounding it. There were some complaints about the pool closing at 10, but frankly - I'm grateful (not traveling with children). Centrally located for easy access to Wego (shuttle round Niagara and down to the falls - $9 ticket that lasts 24 hours can be purchased at front desk in lobby) with McDs, Red Lobster and other restaurants within easy walking distance. Rooms are clean, a little dated and beds are very comfortable. If you want to walk to the falls expect a 40 minute walk down and a little longer back (because it's up hill)

Our stay started out fantastic with the hotel taking the original cost off the room and applied a lower rate I found online. Now who wouldn't like a lower rate for their hotel room? Thank you so much best western for accommodating us. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by 3 smiling female staff people behind the desk, waiting to check us in. It was refreshing to see the smiles thank you. It was my first time being at this particular BW and it was a great setup with the pool being in the middle of the hotel with a tropical look and feel to it. We were disappointed that the pool closed at 10 pm. Maybe you could have adult swims from 10 pm to 11 am? We tried to get into the restaurant there "Mulligans", but none of the staff acknowledge us standing waiting to be seated. Only one side of the restaurant was being served as they shut down the one side for the night, so needless to say they weren't full to be that busy not to tend to us. This kind of behaviour from the staff at the restaurant was extremely rude and uncalled for. The security at the hotel was amazing and did their job well. Thank you to the staff person who helped us find our room and helped us with our luggage.

For this trip to Niagara, I was a bit hesitant about choosing Best Western because it wasn't within a 3 minute walk from the Falls. I was happy to discover that there is a WEGO pick up area direcrly outside the hotel - the ride to Clifton Hill and the Falls was under 10 minutes. Huge plus! The hotel is also next to a reasonably priced supermarket and restaurants are within walking distance. A great buffet is even about 3 minutes away by car. What I liked most about the hotel was the cleanliness, quick and easy check-in, strong Wi-Fi (my friends who visit Niagara have complained about this at other properties), and the willingness/flexibility of the team to accommodate my request for a microwave in the room. They paid attention to the little details - like having bags at the pool for wet clothing. The check in staff was friendly and professional. I was sold before my arrival because of how quickly they responded to my messages; that set my expectation and I was not disappointed. I would choose Best Western again.

I stay at a lot of hotels,mostly higher rating than this because I'm always cautious of budget rooms. This was for business so no choice. It definitely was better than I was expecting. One of the cleaner and nicer places I've stayed in as far as budget rooms go. Hotel itself may be a bit dated but they did a great job with it. Really nice Irish bar with friendly staff and good food. Room was immaculate. I would definitely come back.

Nice location close to lots of restaurants but a 40 minute walk to falls. It's an older hotel that has been nicely updated. Some of the bathroom fixtures show their old design but everything was very clean. It looks like it once was a motel that they covered the center area and it now a large pool and gathering place with a big projection screen. The rooms were humid because of the pool but will dry out after you activate the hvac for a while. Hvac fan cam be noisy. Bathroom sink is located outside the bathroom. Front desk was friendly. Parking for $12 per day. Recommended.

The positives are the friendliness and efficiency of the staff and the pool, hot tubs and kids play area. It is also a good value for the area which is generally high-priced. Unfortunately, if you are hoping for a good night's sleep I would go elsewhere. The room doors and walkways almost all face the pool area where people were loud and partying until the early a.m. hours. Also the beds were squeaky and not the best.

Wonderful place to stay! Room was very clean, and lots of towels. Had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and the food was great! Lots of parking! Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful! Will definitely stay here next time I'm in town. Thank you!

I opted for a Niagara getaway a bit further away from the tourist stuff and I was not disappointed. Seconds away from a No Frills, a McDonald's and a Subway, my parent-feeding-kids-job was extremely no-fuss and easy. Worth it!!! Great (indoor) swimming too - gorgeous shrubbery and trees surround the 2 hot-tubs and the sun-drenched pool.

We've stayed here before and had a good time with friends, however, after our last stay we will never visit here again. The hotel staff did their best and the facilities were ok. The pool area was often over crowded but it was ok as it was a busy time, however, the manager Chris needs people skills.

This hotel was a great place to stay. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were spotless. It had the amenities a traveller would need or want.We stayed one night on this trip but have stayed here in the past. Have never been disappointed. Highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place that is well maintained and reasonably priced.

The only reason I am giving 3* is the location (far from Clifton Hills and even further from the Falls) and the $12 parking/day as it should be included considering is not prime location in Niagara Falls. But the hotel is very clean, rooms are basic, a bit small, average bathrooms with standard amenties: fridge, TV, 2 queen beds, well I would say everything that you would need, nice beds and very, very clean. The highlight of the hotel is like everyone said the courtyard with the heated pool, 2 jacuzzi, many seating areas, bar, TV, even a great playground for kids. The courtyard is very inviting, great time to spend for kids and adults as well, we just loved it. It was very clean, modern, green space, just beautiful, great idea. It would definitely help against the location far from attractions if parking will be included in the rate and maybe breakfast included. The only positive side of the location is close to McDonalds, Pizza Hut, No Frills, Shoppers. Overall we had amazing May long weekend at a reasonable price, staff was helpful and friendly.

Good location and friendly staff. Room was spacious but it felt a little tired. Hotel is a bit quirky with many rooms opening out onto an indoor pool so you need to make sure your curtains are closed. Was a bit noisy with room next to pool and constant smell of chlorine. The restaurant in hotel was brilliant. Oversll not a bad place to stay for one night.

Stayed with family and my young children for the weekend. Perfect for kids. Pool area was clean and well kept. Loved the courtyard room as once kids in bed you had a place to relax and have some adult time without disturbing them. Chlorine smell is strong in these rooms. If sensitive to this be aware. Check in and out was great.

When I travel to Niagara, I always stay at the Best Western Plus Cairn Croft Hotel. I take advantage of their many offers including a voucher for the pub, breakfast and parking. I have been staying her for many years and have never been disappointed. I have stayed here for both work and leisure.

Off season, quiet, nice, clean visit. Paid a few dollars for fireplace and jacuzzi. Nice room, great views. Bed comfortable. No complaints. Staff friendly. Did enjoy the pool. Nice setup, lots of trees and plants. Tropical feeling. Great getaway.

The Irish pub attached to the hotel was the best thing about it. Service was exceptional and food was fast and consistently delicious. Most of the staff in hotel I encountered were rude and unhelpful. Bad mix ups with parking bills and room reservations. Bed was lumpy too. Did not enjoy my stay here.

Seemed like a clean hotel. The rooms are dark and dingy and very dated. The carpets look like they have been around awhile. Rooms that are beside the courtyard are loud all day until 11 ish. Would stay again if we wanted a cheaper option than most hotels in the area.

Up until a couple years ago when my cousin and I had graduated, our families would spend our march breaks here. The staff was always friendly, warm and welcoming. House keeping is great, rooms are clean and fresh. It's a great place if you've got kids because of the indoor court-yard pool and play center, you relax by the pool side or patio while the kids play. Doc Magillagan's is the on-site restaurant/bar that really feels like an Irish pub and has live music often.

The hotel is quite good for its type. The McDonald's near by is a bonus as there is nothing on the street of closed down businesses. You are a good 30 minutes walk to the main part of town. Niagara is a cheap broken down town who's idea of entertainment is Vampire shows, gambling dens and the like. Niagara is cheap and tacky with the only redeeming features being the falls. So the Best Western is a reasonable motel in a poor neighborhood and I am not going to rate it lower because of the area it is in. Its a reasonable place with clean rooms if rather old fashioned. You go there to see the falls, stay a night then head off to somewhere that has better prospects.

I randomly came into the hotel to see if there was a room available for the night. There was, so I booked a 2 queen room as this was in our price range. Upon finding out we were celebrating our Anniversary they gave us a free upgrade and complementary bottle of wine. Wonderful room with great amenities.

Our family decided to go to Niagara Falls for a few days. There were 6 adults 2 toddlers and a young baby. The weather on the Saturday was cold and windy. Our rooms were located around the pool of which we took full advantage. This hotel is very family friendly. The staff was friendly and accommodating and our rooms were immaculate. We had a fun few days in spite of the weather.

Have stayed at the BW Carin Croft a number of times during our golf trips in the spring and fall. Accommodation is great, close to restaurants and the Outlet Mall. Hotel is very clean and accommodating.

My family stayed 2 nights for a dance competition. We asked for a microwave and fridge in our room as we have severe food allergies. They upgraded us to a family suite at no extra charge to ensure we did. The room was so big and had 3 queen bed, microwave, 2 fridges and a bar sink. The room was very clean. I think the pool area was just renoed. It was clean and very nice. The glass enclosure let in lots of sunlight. I highly recommend this property.

This hotel suited the needs of our group as we were looking to celebrate my mom‘s 60th birthday and retirement with pool adjacent rooms that we could sit outside of once our babies had gone to sleep at night. The lobby was gorgeous and it was such a perk to have the Irish restaurant located right in the hotel for us to go to dinner at. My only complaint is that our rooms were well worn looking and very loud to stay in! Right up until 11 PM at night there were kids running fast (I'm talking chasing and sprinting) past our room screaming and large adult parties playing music and drinking and laughing loudly. I'm not against people having a great time on their vacation but there was literally no way we could sleep with the noise travelling through the window and door to our room. Perhaps next time we would try a room nowhere near the pool area.

We were here for 2 nights this Easter. We were there with a big group. The hotel is very quite. The rooms are very clean with a fridge and coffee machine. There is no microwave in room but one there in common area. The fitness centre is good along with a indoor pool. The hotel has super market, bar and other things nearby. The hotel is around 25-30 min walk from niagara falls. Major attractive Clifton hill walk is 15-20 min. We did not have breakfast included so not sure about that.

The hotel is a good bet for families as the pool area is lovely and a great place for kids to spend time. Overall we found the hotel to be fine. Our bathroom was odd with an extremely small shower but otherwise it was comfortable. Our only complaint is the attached restaurant, Doc Milligan's. We were a party of six, two of whom were small children. We waited well over an hour for extremely mediocre cold food. A request to speak to a manager resulted in a brief and dismissive “I'll look into it” and never to be seen again. During our long wait, we requested water for the table and didn't even receive that. An extraordinarily disappointing dining experience start to finish. Some of our party are locals in Niagara and were embarrassed by the poor service and subsequent disappointing meal. There is absolutely no reason to visit this establishment.

The value and convenience of the BW Cairn Croft cannot be over-stated. You are right on Lundy's Lane which takes you EVERYWHERE in Niagara, plus once you park your car, there is a McDonald's on one side, and a 'No Frills' grocery store on the other side (plus a FANTASTIC restaurant onsite). Parents traveling with children...this place is for you. Young couples...this place is for you. Anyone & Everyone...this place is for you. The LARGE atrium/botanical garden had a large pool with 2 Jacuzzi's, a pool side bar for drinks & snacks (part of the tasty & well-priced / attractive-looking Irish Pub...family friendly restaurant) and an indoor play area for the children. Think how helpful that will be winding down at the end of a day, or if there is bad weather...your meals and entertainment are taken care of. They also have a secured WPA2 WiFi connection for safer internet use, and a well-equipped exercise room + a laundry room. Everything you need is here. Mostly. I am in a wheelchair, and there can be more wheelchair (not just 'handicap', because most 'handicap' people I see can all walk) accessible parking places by the 4 entrance doors. Although there are 2 large, accessible bathrooms (1 in the Main Lobby by the restaurant, and 1 by the gym), my actual hotel room did not have an accessible bathroom (no problem -- the one by the gym was just a few doors down, so no biggie). I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS CENTRALLY-LOCATED, GREAT-VALUE hotel for travelers to rest, relax, and enjoy in {*with a cautious reminder to anyone actually wheel-chair bound, but then again, I don't think I've very staying in a actual wheel-chair accessible room in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada...still, I recommend it for everyone else}. Well-situated, great amenities, super staff, awesome bargain...a very comfortable stay where you can truly relax on vacation and not have to worry about anything. I travel often to Niagara Falls, and I would certainly come back (especially if they outfit a few rooms with wheel-chair accessible bathrooms & more wheelchair accessible parking spaces -- other than those 2 minor hiccups...a PERFECT stay, truly, really was...100%. Thanks BWCC!). Enjoy your visit at the BWCC, it will be worth it.

Good not great location. 1 mile or 2km away from the falls and/or entertainment area. PARKING IS NOT FREE. No breakfast. Pool area is an attraction itself. Pub is attached to the hotel. Buffet close by.

Stayed here this past weekend April 13th - the place was chaotic. While the rooms were clean and comfortable and what one would expect for a three star hotel (e.g. there is a sign in the room telling you how much they charge if you take a towel and that they will count them - I have never seen that before - and there are shampoo dispensers rather than bottles etc) , the main pool area and play area were chaotic and crowded with what felt like a frat party. There were several men drinking beer in the hot tub itself, grown men diving into the shallow end, unattended children running and doing cannon balls into the pool, and in the area surrounding the pool there was a large family reunion going on where everyone was drinking and they were playing loud music. Many people left their children unattended and the kids were poorly behaved in the pool and were running on the play structure in wet boots and wet bathing suits and there were preteens running in the play structure even though they were too tall. The arcade games were largely not working and so in the end there was very little enjoyment here with the chaotic pool and men drinking in the hot tubs and unattended children running everywhere. It was so crowded and chaotic and completely unenjoyable. I realize the pool is not supervised but honestly there should be some oversight from the management. I will not stay here again unless it is midweek and I can be assured there are no family reunions or large group events taking place. FYI Parking is $12//d which is fine - but it surprised me as I had assumed given the off the main strip location that it would be included, Also, I had picked a tower room because the reviews had warned me the courtyard could be noisy - however we heard people running around late into the night above us even in the tower and the walls are thin - we could hear feet running above us quite late into the night!

We arrived very late on April 14th. The front desk staff were amazing in getting us checked in quickly. Because we arrived so late we were offered a late check out at 1pm and not 11am. This was amazing of the hotel to do for us. The room was amazing. It was clean and all amenities were in working order.. I will be staying there from now on when I come to Niagara.

We stayed at this Hotel when touring with Cosmos and were allocated a room with pool view. The room was a little dated but very clean. It was a little humid when exiting the room into the undercover pool area. We toured in June 2018. We walked into town to view Niagra falls and it was an easy walk for us, however you can easily take the bus service for very little money. We did not have breakfast at this Hotel but Pub next door is really good and serviced thru entry from the Hotel. The staff were over accommodating when I found upon leaving I had lost an item of jewellery and fortunately the room staff had found it and with only a couple of emails to and fro the staff had mailed the item home to Australia. I cannot thank them enough for this.

My kids absolutely love this hotel! The Staff were all great and very helpful. We loved that our room overlooked the pool! It was also great to have an indoor playground as well! The rooms were clean and well taken care of. We will definitely be going back!

This hotel is nice, the king room with fireplace was very spacious and bed was very comfortable. The pool was nice and there is a a play place for younger kids. The restaurant food is good price but quality was only OK. Internet was inconsistent the second night when the hotel was super busy so ended up having to use my data.

Cheap knock off of a great Wolfe lodge. More expensive then it should be. But I have been twice and will be back for an easy weekend away with the kids. Staff are okay, rooms are okay, everything was clean

When we arrived the people were very friendly n helpful. The room we stayed in was clean n cozy. I booked last min so i was thankful that they had room for us. We were there for 2 nights n the kids loved it.

This is a great hotel to getaway to if you can not go south. It has a pool and 2 hot tubs with tree lined courtyard under a glass roof. The Irish Pub has good food and beer, of course. There is a gym, computers and free wifi. The bus service which is 8.00 for 24 hours or 12.00 for 48 hours takes you to many attractions including the theater, casinos and the Falls or just site-see. There are banks and shops within walking distance, too. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful.

We spent the night with our son's hockey team! Great service. The hotel was small enough that you could keep track of the kids easily the pool and hot tub area and courtyard was excellent. Great playground for younger kids too!

The courtyard rooms are very nice for adults traveling with children. They offer direct access to the pool, hot tubs, playground and arcade. We were able to allow our granddaughter to play in the courtyard area while we were sitting at the table outside of our room relaxing. The onsite restaurant/bar had a nice selection of food and beers at a reasonable price. However, the menu was not geared toward children.

WE LOVE THIS SPOT! We have continued over the years to stay at only THIS spot in Niagara! From the staff to the restaurant! The rooms to the pool, everything about this hotel is great! We've stayed as a couple and came with our kids The staff always go above and beyond to help you with everything you may need! The restaurant in the hotel never disappoints and has amazing nightlife as well! The pool and hot tub is our favourite part of this place! The room is always warm and so is the pool! There is a bar outside pool with TVs to watch the games from the pool and hot tub!! The play area/jungle gym and arcade are my kids fave part too! The location of the hotel is perfect for all attractions and the price is always great! It's honeslty our favourite hotel for all these reasons and we have traveled all over! Can't wait to be back!

I've stayed here many times over the years, first with my own children and now with two of my grandchildren (ages 5 & 9). The thing I love most about the Cairn Croft Hotel is that there is plenty to entertain the kids after a day's outing to Clifton Hill or other local attractions. I rented a Courtyard room for March Break for myself and two of my granddaughters. If you are looking for a quiet room, a Courtyard room will not be to your liking. However, if you are looking for something accessible to the pool, hot tubs, play area, and mini arcade - the Courtyard rooms are for you. Each Courtyard room has a patio table and chairs directly outside the room in the Courtyard area. It's a great place to sit first thing in the morning to have a coffee and watch the kids do laps around the Courtyard as they burn off early morning energy waiting for the pool and play area to open at nine. (Note, there is no shallow splash pool for young toddlers and babies so swimmies or life jackets are definitely needed as the shallow end of this pool is approximately two and a half to three feet deep.) The Courtyard area itself is very attractive with a growth of lush greenery, poolside and room-side seating, an abundance of seating options ranging from deck chairs, to patio sets, to sofa sets. In addition to the pool and play areas there is a huge TV screen, and bar counter where you can order meals as well as beverages. The hotel restaurant serves great food but could get costly with kids in tow. In that regard, the hotel is conveniently located close to additional food places (Flying Saucer Restaurant for example) and has a grocery store on one side of it and a McDonald's on the other. Our room was comfortable but dated and the pillows leave a little to be desired, but truly, I'd trade tiny pillows for the wonderfully energizing atmosphere and friendly responsive staff at the Cairn Croft Hotel any day. The small in-room fridge came in handy for snacks and drinks. There were two doors in and out of our room - the patio door that exited into the Courtyard and the single exterior door that exited into the parking lot. The parking lot door is in serious need of weather-stripping or perhaps, even a new door. It was cold and extremely windy a couple of the nights we stayed and the cold draft through that door was intense. The room was warm as we kept the heat higher but when walking to the bathroom you were assailed by the cold seeping through the door. Had we not been able to maintain a good temperature in the room otherwise, I would have been talking to the front desk about the cold wind blowing through the door. The only trying part of our stay here, was parents - parents who don't adequately supervise their kids, and parents who drink too much and then fight about it in the Courtyard at 1:00 AM. Some of the older kids in the pool and play areas engaged in behaviours that physically endangered other children, with no parent stepping forward to tell them to knock it off so it was left to other parents, grandparents or adults. This isn't isolated to this hotel of course, but given that the hotel is very attractive to families, it is worth noting and being prepared for. Not only will you be looking after the children in your care - you will by default, likely be looking after a few others as well. There are other hotels with swimming pools, with often cheaper rates, and closer to Clifton Hill - many of which I have stayed in and really didn't mind at all. They are great for a night or two but for an extended stay beyond that - Cairn Croft Hotel is my first choice when travelling with my grandchildren. What keeps me coming back to this place is the family and kid friendly atmosphere. This is a hotel where you could stay for an extended period and keep children fully entertained without even having to venture out. The price is right. The employees are outstanding. The location is convenient to many local amenities and there is parking right outside the door for those who drive and a WEGO stop out front for those who prefer to bus it.

I stay at the Best Western Cairn Croft at least 5 times a year. On my last visit i was there with my wife, my daughter and grandchild. They were so nice at the front desk and found us a room next to the pool. There are games and an activity center for everyone. The food at the restaurant is like eating a home cooked meal. I would recommend a stay there.

We stayed here 3 nights for a hockey tournament. Our kids enjoyed the pool and courtyard area very much. Overall it was an okay hotel but it could use some improvements. We stayed in room 112 off the courtyard. The room has some updates but has not been fully renovated like those in the tower. The carpet was gross. Also, the room is next to an exit with a vey loud fan. Lastly, the air quality in the courtyard is poor. The smell of chlorine is quite intense.

Stayed here twice now - 3 mid-week days each visit. First was great, centre piece is an indoor pool area with surrounding patios, and pool side rooms. Quiet, bright and peaceful - second stay was March Break - lots of happy kids, pool area a wild place in the afternoons - but still a great stay. Staff friendly and helpful. If you have kids book a pool area room, If you don't or if you hate noisy kids - stay on a higher floor. Two stays - both great.

First ever family vacation. It was amazing. Clean friendly service. You had our room ready for early check in. The courtyard is absolutely beautiful. The restaurant food and service was amazing. I have nothing bad to say. Just wish you had a local special rates.

Had a courtyard room. Expected a little noise, but this was ridiculous. Need to re-evaluate "quiet time". I understand you make your money off hockey teams...but there are other people at the hotel. Not totally the hotels responsibility..parents responsibility too.

This was a great place for my girls (ages 4 and 2). The pool is fairly warm and a decent size for small kids - its not huge but perfect for kids, even with floaties and pool toys. The playground right beside the pool is great - It's for slightly older children (my 2yr old couldnt use it) but there was lots of space in the courtyard for her to run around. The staff are amazingly friendly (especially Steve who offered us bedrails and checked in on how our stay was going every time we saw him!!). I found the front desk staff very helpful and friendly. They even have bedrails for the beds if you need! I was advised when I called that the courtyard rooms can be noisy on the weekends so we booked in the tower and it was very quiet. They also advised me on which weekends to avoid given the large number of teams staying there - so your best bet is to call and chat to them about what else is going on the weekend you plan to stay. The food at the restaurant was good and service was quick - not many healthy options. We were so happy with our stay that we are already booking again!

We stayed here for 4 nights for the family day weekend and enjoyed it quite a bit. We made sure to book a room in the courtyard where the pool and hot tub is and where the temperature is a constant 25 Celsius. That was quite relaxing; it was all the more relaxing because you can take your own beverage into the courtyard area and even your own snacks. The room was not great because the heater would turn on in the middle of the night and the bathroom door was sticking. The Irish bar attached to the hotel is absolutely beautiful. The food is good for breakfast and the service is great. Location wise it's a very quick 5 minute drive to the falls area - in the winter of course parking was plentiful. So while the area is very commercial it is actually quite convenient if you're looking for pizza (5 places), other fast food or other restaurants (Red Lobster, Swiss Chalet, etc.) There's even a tiny gym in the hotel, a comic book store across the street a No Frills right next door. Also a large children's jungle gym that we didn't really need because my kids were too old for it. Overall a good experience.

Mattresses were brand new and super comfortable. Lobby/Reception area nicely renovated. Room was clean. The courtyard was a nice touch , but we forgot our bathing suits so I couldn't tell you how the pool/hot tub was. We had breakfast at the restaurant (not included) and it was good.

Never had a bad experience with this hotel! Clean rooms and quick to help if their is an issue with anything great experience as soon as I entered the establishment! Take in everything the hotel offers and the pool area makes you feel like you are on a tropical adventure!

If you love sitting in front of a fireplace, this hotel is a must. The beds are comfortable and its not far to the major attractions. The onsite restuarant has alot of character. Don't forget the hotel does charge for parking.

This was a" family day" stay. I have stayed here many times over the years and will continue to do so except for family day weekend. The hotel was very busy and very noisy. What can you expect on such a day? Anyway, brand new hot tubs in the courtyard were pretty fancy!! The hotel is always clean and the staff were great as usual.

We had a very good stay at this hotel. If you have children it's a gem. Very good pool and two hot tubs located on the main floor in tropical setting. It was very crowded in the pool area and WAY too many people in each hot tub for it to be safe. Didn't seem to be any life guareds so watch your kids carefully. Found the hallways noisy and a big gap under the door didn't help with the noise. The room was spotless, the bed comfortable and clean. The TV was in good working order too. The bathroom was very clean with clean towels. Appears they've had a lot of issues with theft as they ask you to verify the number of towels, washcloths etc when you arrive if after checkout that amount of items in not there they say they will add it to your bill(Nice try but i think my credit card company may have something to say about you adding charges after i've signed for certain amount for my stay) No bottles of amenities just two huge refillable shower dispensers with shampoo and shower soap,so no taking the shampoo home. Hahaha.The price was good so no complaints there. An onsite restaurant/pub was nice too and the prices at the restaurant was affordable. Having a coffee maker, fridge and microwave was nice too. No Frills is right beside the hotel. Like i said if you are older and going for a quiet weekend this is not the place for you. Great for kids and grandkids.

This is a well run operation , with great beds and friendly staff . The pool area is under construction ,to put in better hot tubs and the onsite restaurant is great . We are always treated great here , year after year .

First room had dried urine on toilet seat, moved to another room which had long black hairs in shower and on the towels in the bathroom. The towel in the sink area had something crunchy and pink like a stain on it....very unacceptable!!!

It was New Years and pretty much all the hotels in Niagara Falls were about 4 times the regular price. This hotel room I got was in the Courtyard right in the pool area. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. My second New Years there and I think it's the best bang for the buck.

We visit the Niagara region once or twice a year, usually in the 'off ' season when tourist crowds and Hotel rates are at a minimum. The Cairn Croft has become our favorite place to stay. It's close to everything, but not in the centre of the hustle and bustle. Friendly staff, super clean and modern rooms, and an excellent restaurant connected to the lobby. It really is the perfect place to stay while visiting the area. Got kids that like to swim ? Get a courtyard or poolside room. Adults that want peace and quiet should ask for a tower room.

Front desk was extremely friendly, helpful and professional. Housekeeping did a great job at maintaining the room. Many restaurants grocery stores near rhe hotel. Great restaurant and pub on property.

Hot tubs being replaced very good news BUT when we got there they where not ready to be used very disappointed BUT the staff made up for the disappointment in many ways more then happy with everything in the end Have been coming to this hotel for about 5 years and will be back again for sure Thank you

We were looking at a map in the foyer and a member of staff from the hotel came up to us and offered advice on what's the best way to get to the falls - later on find out that the hotel charged us $10 as an out-of-the-blue 'tourism promotion fee' for the conversation! Even when it was unwanted advice because we had a car! Given wrong room to start off with as well (2 single beds rather than 1 double bed for a couple). Won't be recommending or staying at Best Western again.

hotel is not being maintained as it used to be very nice here. shower squeals, vending machines not working no change machine and broken games in the arcade. heater in room broken and way to much heat that cannot be turned down only off. Our bad was very hard also.

Excellent hotel, not in the center of all that is Niagara Falls but great location to everything without all the traffic. Definitely would recommend this hotel. Staff are very helpful, the hotel is very clean. Lovely room. Only bad thing water pressure not really strong.Definitely going back.

Super clean and comfy stay and the kids had a blast in the pool. Was not able to enjoy the hot tubs as was under Construction but the pool was super warm. Rooms clean and front desk staff very accommodating. The food the the adjoined restaurant was tasty too. Hubby liked that we never had to wait for an elevator. Would stay here again for sure

very clean rooms, lobby area and overall appearance. microwave use available in common area. great pool and kids area. if worried about noise level...rooms in the courtyard would not be for you. heater in rooms are a bit loud when they come on. it is a ways from the tourist area but then you should expect that when booking here. it's a nice walk tho. very close to stores (ie: no frills, shoppers, dollarama and various eateries)

Went with family and stayed at the BW Plus Cairn Croft Hotel over the December Holidays. The hotel is on Lundys Lans and is close to food options and supermarket. The hotel staff were ok and nice. The room was decene and was recently painted and had newer furniture. The reason we choose this hotel over others was the belief that the swimming pool was good and had a great area for kids to play. Reality was that the pool was small, should hold 5--8 people realistically, but when I was there, 15 kids in the pool with half of them unsupervised. the pool was all shallow water (no deep end) and had 6 plastic deck chairs. As the pool/hotel area is in a square courtyard shape, people from the first floor and those from the 2nd floor can stand in the front of the their rooms and look at the pool. When I was there, 6 adults or so were all standing on the 2nd floor with their beers looking down at the pool. Whether those were their kids, could not tell you. If not their kids, it would be creepy. First floor courtyard was not really useful/comfortable as it was covered with trees/plants and odd furniture. The kids play yard was a disappointment due to its small size. Probably would not stay here again if you think this would be a great place for the pool and the kids park as it is described by other rave reviews. The parking for overnight is $12 + tax and there is no free breakfast which I was not accustomed to having stayed at other Best Westerns in the past.

Very nice hotel with indoor pool and garden. The courtyard is great with activities for children. Perfect for families with children. We came from another city and had our Niagara family visit us at the hotel for Christmas. Wonderful!

Months before my family was planning their Christmas dinner we reserved a large table in the restaurant. It was messed up, they treated us poorly, and although the hotel staff offered compensation with drink coupons we were not able to get a table the next night to use these coupons!

I've reviewed the Cairn in the past where I shared some constructive criticisms, management here has been listening and the changes are exceptional. Hopefully you'll get a chance to talk to Terri or perhaps Cheryl, these ladies are professionals with a smile that reaches their eyes that you can't resist reciprocating. The renovations brought out positive comments from our entire group of 22 - the Koi pond has been filled with lush plants and we may have heard the pool is about to get an upgrade...we are sooo looking forward to our 10th anniversary at the Cairn Croft...see you all next year!

Great staff at this hotel - made my reservation with Lauren, who went out of her way to find the exact accommodation that we needed. We were lucky enough to meet her again at check-in where she was able to even better serve our specific needs. Reasonable prices and a good location for our needs. This is our new favourite hotel in Niagara Falls.

We stayed four nights for US Thanksgiving! This hotel is well located on Lundy lane main drag to the falls. We had 2 rooms on the third floor tower side. Everything was great...until the Saturday night. Students from London Ontario had many rooms on our floor and it was bad! Security was overwhelmed. We were compensated for that night and understand that it can happen but on the other hand unruly behaviour after many warnings should be dealt with expulsion period. Many hotels here charge nightly parking fees and so does this one. Great Irish pub accessible from the hotel....a plus!

This is our second time stauing at this hotel and it was just as good as the first. We love the courtyard rooms and the pool area at this hitel, theres really no other like ut that we've been able to find. It has the feeling of being on a vacation somewhere tropical. Our only regret was that we didn't book a longer stay. The customer service is top notch, we left my daughters blanket and a book behind, were able to quickly track it down and come back and pick it up on our way home. The only minor issue is the noise you can hear with a courtyard room, we were right by one of the main entry doors so heard a lot of traffic, but because they shut down the pool at 11, it wasn't a big deal, all was quiet by 11. For the price and because of the distance of the hotel from the Niagara attractions it qoukd also be nice if a continental breakfast and free parking was included. But these 2 things wont prevent us from staying again.

We recently stayed at the Best Western Cairn Croft in niagara falls and had a wonderful stay. The hotel was reasonably priced and away from the craziness of Clifton hill. We had a beautiful spacious room which was clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The hotel has a beautiful courtyard with a pool and hot tubs and play area for kids. Wonderful stay and we will be back again.

I stayed here for one night and had a great experience. All of the staff were very nice and helpful and I didn't run into any problems during my stay. It is also nice that there is a bar/restaurant with live music and really good food attached to the hotel.

What a nice little Oasis in the middle of the falls. The pool area provides a tropical getaway. Truly enjoyed the live entertainment at Docs the onsite restaurant. Service was amazing from start to finish. If you are looking for an affordable getaway and great value totally worth it !!

We always have a wonderful time at the Best Western Cairns Croft Hotel. The staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. We come to this hotel every year but this year was special as we were celebrating our tenth anniversary. Looking forward to returning next year as the celebrations will continue. Special mention to the girls at the front desk, and Chris who got us a bucket of ice, helped with our bags and checked to see if we needed anything else to make our visit more comfortable, and Chris the night manager who set us up with a room so we could party without disturbing our neighbours. Clean and spacious room, very comfy bedding, and a fireplace that heated the room in less than 30 minutes! Short walk to the falls and most of the activities with a decent amount of restaurants on Lundy's Lane, too.Also, thanks to the front desk staff (especially Tim!) for all of the great food and activity suggestions!

This property was a fun novelty get-away the first time we stayed. We chose it because it offers electric car charging and our son loved it the first time we went. We went back in November 2018 because we had a sporting event to attend in a nearby town. We shouldn't have. Only go here if you like noise. The courtyard is nice, the pool is shallow and very clean, as are the two hot tubs. Kids love the arcade and climbing tubes. The room we booked on 2nd floor smelled like diesel fumes when we arrived so we asked for a new room. The front desk said the 2nd floor rooms sometimes smell like this due to diesel trucks idling in the parking lot near the McDonalds below. They moved us to a first floor courtyard room with sliding door right across from the pool. The noise was over the top on both nights. We expected noise, but thought it would just be from delighted kids. Instead, there were large groups of Dads drinking at the bar and in the gazebos. They spend hours out there getting louder and their profanity laced conversation made it impossible for us to keep our child out there among them. In the evening of our 2nd night, a large group of senior ladies decided to hold their annual Christmas apron decorating contest 2 feet from our door. Nice ladies, but it got old real quick listening to their uproarious laughter for hours. We called the front desk at 10 pm because even with ear buds in we couldn't relax. Security moved them off to their own rooms and the place settled down around 11pm. This is definitely a VERY noisy place to stay. The breakfast at the restaurant was sub-par. Pancakes were huge, even for the kids menu and breakfast is expensive. The pub dinner was below mediocre.

We stayed here this past Sunday, I called to request an early check in and they were able to do it for us. Location is ok, not near the falls but after a short drive you can get get there. Lobby was nice and clean, reception staff were great We were there for the cascades of fire but they cancelled the Canada finale, front desk clerk advised there would still be a 10 min fireworks display which we saw and enjoyed. The rooms was your average hotel room, nice and clean, comfortable beds. Our son really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Had a couple drinks at the on site restaurant Doc Mulligans, they were very good! Also had breakfast there in the am fairly priced only complaint is I ordered the cinnamon focaccia french toast and got plain french toast, the waitress didn't come back until we were done eating and there was no other staff in sight, so I wasn't able to ask her about it. If I had known it was plain french toast I would have ordered the breakfast special. Food was still enjoyable just not what I expected. One thing I hate is paying for parking especially when you're on Lundy's Lane, Why are you charging for parking at this location? We had a good stay! Would recommend to families for sure.

Hotel is OK, rooms are big, clean enough, and quiet too, but somehow there was a smell all over that didn't suit us. Don't know why. Staff in the reception was nice and helpful. Bus stop just outside the hotel takes you easy downtown.

An impressive, very well-kept property and attached restaurant. Staff were friendly, helpful and professional. We would definitely stay in this hotel on future visits to Niagara Falls and would have no hesitation in recommending it to friends .

We just returned from a few days in Niagara Falls shopping and a few trips to the Casino. This Hotel was the cleanest I have ever been in. The staff were friendly and always helpful.We watched them cleaning rooms on the way out a were surprised to see what they do for deep cleaning,they move ever piece of furniture and deep clean.The restaurant next to the Hotel is excellent great meals are served at all meal times.If you are looking for a great place to stay I recommend The Cairn Croft to anyone.

We stayed at the Best Western Cairn Croft Hotel last night Tuesday just a cheeky little getaway. When you have adult children living with you sometimes its necessary to relax and get away for a day. We ate at the Pub onsite really great as you dont even have to go outside to get there, a great dinner and breakfast. The hot tub was busy for a while but after dinner we managed to get one of them to ourselves. There were only 2 children in the whole hotel but the screaming and yelling they did like banshees with no parental supervision made it sound like a whole schoolyard full, not the fault of the hotel its a parent lack of consideration for others. The rest of the hotel was rather busy and full with retirees chatting and playing cards. Fortunately the children stopped after a few hours. Front desk couldnt have been nicer or more accomodating on checkin or checkout. Bed comfortable and the lights out in the central courtyard at 11pm is great, a good idea and well enforced. I need to go back again maybe next month it is just enough time to relax, enjoy the hot tub and destress.

Celebrating our 41st anniversary, we returned to the place and hotel of our honeymoon. Niagara Falls and the Cairncroft Hotel. The hotel had changed for the better but the staff and atmosphere was still exceptional. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool area also clean. The restaurant, Magilligans, was terrific! Great food, great staff. Cannot wait for a return visit!

We stayed here recently and really enjoyed our stay. When I was booking my room the hotel staff recommended that we stay in the "Tower" rooms instead of near the pool. I am really glad that they made this recommendation. The pool side rooms would be great if you had kids who can not wait to try out the pool, playground, videogames or the hottubs but without them it really isn't worth putting up with the noise and chlorine smell. My one complaint would be that the hotel room TV was very dated with a limited selection of channels and now hotel movies. Also our remote was falling apart - management said they would fix it but it is probably just time for new tvs and a bar fridge with a freezer. The breakfast at the attached pub was also very inexpensive and tasted great!

Had a second floor room overlooking the pool. Room was clean and spacious. Of course with the indoor pool being right outside the door you could smell some chlorine, but that was expected and didn't really have any effect on our stay. Beds were comfortable. The pool itself is not very deep, which is probably a good thing for people with younger kids and was still very enjoyable for us adults too. The pool decking could use a makeover, it hurts to walk upon since it's beginning to degrade. Hot tubs were perfect. Pool area was closed promptly at 10pm and everything was quiet until morning at that point. Yes, there were kids in the early morning excited for a dip in the pool, yes, you could hear them. If you're going to take issue with that, then you shouldn't get a room in the pool area. I quite enjoyed waking to the sounds of the kids playing. As for location. I liked the fact we were not in the busy tourist area. We had normal options for food and grocery items. We were about a 20 minute walk from the attractions, and there is the WEGO bus stopping right outside the hotel that was great for getting around during our stay.

Don't be misled by low rates. Read all hotel amenities not just page one but also page two. Hotel charges $12.00 per day for parking. Their claim is that this charge is transparent. I am a seasoned traveller but have never before seen such charges buried so deep in hotel amenities. Will never stay here again. I am a BW diamond member and will think long and hard before staying at a BW again.

We are local to the area and never knew this existed. What a lovely little hidden gem. We had a room which had access to the outside and doors to the pool as well. We had a mini vacation with our toddlers who were pleased with the kids section. We loved the pool area. Room was clean, service was fast and friendly.Conveniently situated beside a grocery store with a bus stop. I would bring my own blanket next time.

Very nice location, loved the room and the fire place - TV selection could be improved - MaGilligan's restaurant is noisy but very good food - bed was big and comfy - hotel staff very friendly and knowledgeable - would stay again as week day rates very reasonable

In the area of the Niagara falls , not far from the falls we were happy to find a very good hotel , a Best Western Hotel Plus The Cairn croft Hotel When we came in the room we were very surprised by its beauty , a large and bright room with two queen side beds a nice bathroom and a little kitchen spot good for a coffee or a little breakfast . We loved the TV in the room When we opened the back door we discovered an awesome indoor courtyard , a tropical garden with in its center a swimming pool we loved at once before to take a bath we needed to find a restaurant and we wre lucky to find out the Doc Magilligan 's Restaurant and Irish pub in the same building and where we had a very good meal A quiet and a brigth room , a swimming pool in a tropical garden a good restaurant and the kindness of the staff , i am sure you'll love this place

This is the second time we have stayed here. Our room was ready and was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and showed us how to use the bus system to go down to the Falls. It was a breeze and beat driving and parking by the falls. The restaurant attached to the hotel was great for breakfast and dinner.

We had stayed here many years ago and thought it would be nice to go back. The pool area was nice. We had a second floor balcony room that overlooked the pool area. Our room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The shower worked well and the water was hot. The only real issue we encountered was that we had an end room that must have been above the bar. The pool area closes at 10 so it is to be quiet then. We were there on a Friday night and the bar had a band. I could understand every word the rock band played/sang until well after 1AM. It made sleeping a little difficult. I would have liked to have been told that there was a band and that our room was in an area that it could be heard. Check in and check out went well

Came here for the weekend and loved this hotel from the start. Paul, the GM gave us a tour of the place, the pools, hot tubs etc, gave us details of the upcoming renovations they are doing in January. Excited to come back. Great place for the family.

Doc magilligans is by far the best pub I've been in with the best fish and chips and staff .the atmosphere is amazing and every summer when I go this is my go to place . I had breakfast lunch and dinner and is hands down the best

Thanks to Andrew at the front desk for dealing with my requests on check in. There are a lot fancier more modern and closer to the tourist action locations in the Falls. This is good if you need to get in and out of the area without the hassle of downtown. Outdoor Parking is an extra 12.00 per night, dashboard pass given on check in. In the hotel has an indoor pool, play area with arcade, hot tubs, and patio tables. Rooms in this area slide open directly into pool area. You will have to keep your curtains closed.There is also a bar in this area open weekends only. Fitness room is small. The TV remotes are on the walls under each TV. There is coin laundry beside the fitness area for a toonie. The tower part of the hotel may be quieter. Pool access from there is through the lobby. Pool closes at 10 pm. Next door Irish pub accessed through lobby. Typical Brit/Irish pub fare: bangers n mash, fish n chips, Irish nachos, Guiness. Also a big breakfast. Lots of options: fast food & restos in walking distance. Beside hotel: Mickey D. Dollarama Grocery store and drug store. Very convenient.

While visiting the Canadian side of Niagara falls we stayed at the Best Western Plus Cairn Croft Hotel. It was great, has a beer & grocery & drug store nearby and don't forget the jacuzzi and the indoor pool, even an Irish pub that serves cold beer and hot fish & chips, being the history nut I am, I've got to mention the Historic battlefield and cemetery a few blocks walk from the hotel. You will need a cab or Uber if you want to see the falls at night, too far to walk. Saw and did a lot on our 2 night stay.

There was an error made in our online booking using our Airmiles points (our fault ). We were on our way to the hotel, I called to confirm our booking. I didn't have any paper trail with us unfortunately, anyway, they didn't have our room booking on file for the night we "thought" we booked! Since it was Thanksgiving Sunday, no follow up could be done at that time. As a comp, desk manager upgraded us to a suite in the tower, for the inconvenience, and charged us regular room rate. Now THAT'S customer service!! The suite; king bed comfy, very clean room. We were very satisfied. The pool was busy, we didn't utilize. I would highly recommend the Best Western Cairn Crofts in The Falls.

Honestly, I really wanted to love this hotel, but it fell short. I was surprised at checkin when I mentioned that the price seemed slightly higher than my confirmation email stated and the employee said I was probably wrong (it was off by a small amount, so I didn't go back after confirming due to the rude response I initially received). We booked a courtyard room for the convienece to the pool and playground area. Unfortunately, the rooms weren't insulated very well, so it stayed very moist and cold in our room. Plus, our room (220) was located right near some type of machine that was making a high pitched sound, possibly a pool pump, the entire time. The front desk staff nicely moved us to a tower room for the next night. I believe the room was a slightly cheaper room rate, but we were never offered a reimbursement for the difference. Then, that night the fire alarm went off at 12:07am. I know it wasn't the hotel's fault, but it was very scary and disruptive waking our two little kids up to evacuate. There was absolutely no mention or apology about the situation the next morning. I would highly recommend (and I mentioned this at checkout) that the hotel, next time, slide a short apology note for the inconvenience under the doors or post a short apology at checkout. Something to acknowledge the stressful situation would be really appreciated! All-in-all, most of the staff was very pleasant and the courtyard area was fun to hang out at. The pool was very nice, but definitely don't select a courtyard room if you are a light sleeper and go to bed before 10pm. There was a lot of noise from kids (which didn't really bother us), but the staff did a great job at clearing the pool at exactly 10pm.

Rooms are spacious, the ambience around the indoor pool affords you the opportunity to gather as a family or a couple. The hotel crew goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The only down side is missing an elevator for people with walking limitations.

Highly recommend this hotel. Clean, quite, close to so meany things. The best staff. So friendly and helpful. The pool is so nice. You feel like your at a resort. We had a mix up on our booking ( not there fault) and the girl felt bad and said let me see if i can work this out for you. Long story short, we only wanted a single but when we got to our room we where blown away. King bed,private balcony,separate den with a fireplace and 2 tvs and huge bathroom. No extra charge. Awesome service. Thank you so much,,,,

This was our 2nd visit to Plus Cairn Croft Hotel. We returned to get Courtyard room. It is a resort feel walking out room to pool with a tropical feel. The staff front desk, bar, housekeeping - all are so helpful. The adjoining restaurant is also the same, friendly and food was very good.The grocery store is right beside - so that was perfect for our type of get-away. Then we did Uber to Falls activities !! It was perfect.

Staff went above and beyond to help a group of 10 women have a great mystery girls weekend. Joe, Marissa, Chris,Andrew and Lauren were patient and helpful from check in to check out. Docs great for food, drinks and music.

Excellent package. We chose the Grand Niagara golf course . What a great course ! The hotel was also very nice with an outstanding staff. We enjoyed several meals at Doc Magilligan's, food and atmosphere were very nice.

We have stayed at the best western cairn Croft twice and this time we stayed for 3 nights, everyone was so nice and helpful. The Cairn is very clean and comfortable. We locked ourself out of our room at both doors and Jim at the front desk couldn't of been kinder and nicer . Made me feel like no problem this happens all the time, not only did we do this once but twice. We were so embarrassed but he made me feel like no big deal. Chris helped me with our room when I was not happy and took care of it the best he could and with the same kindness. The cleaning crew were very efficient and nice. Everyone said hello and all were very eager to help us out and made to feel comfortable. The restaurant Doc Magillian's , has outstanding food . We ate breakfast and supper there three nights and two mornings. The staff were experienced and the bartenders were amazing. You can see how they all (bartenders and managers al waiters, waitresses work together that they enjoy their job. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Nice clean hotel. Great pool and bar. Excellent breakfast. A short shuttle ride to the casino with plenty of shopping and nightly entertainment within walking distance. I come here every year for a short golf trip with thirty plus other firnds and always have a great time,

Stayed in the poolside suites with 3 families. Kids had a great time in the pool and spa. Inside suite amenities are great with coffee maker, fridge and freezer. Bathroom and sink outside a little odd but worked well on the end.

This hotel is one of the most convenient hotels in the area. We have been coming back for many years. Great rooms, pool and hot tubs and a great social area for large groups. Just so relaxing and inviting. The most friendliest of staff. Can't wait to go back in the future.
