« Clean and comfortable, would book again »

We had a room in the tower, it was very clean and beds very comfortable. Considering the room faced the street, it was still quiet at night. Hotel staff was friendly, and it made for a good stay. After spending time at the pool, I can imagine the courtyard rooms would be a little noisier, I'm glad we were in the tower. The pool itself was small but nice. It's not close enough to walk to the falls, but a bus stop right outside the hotel is convenient, and if driving its not far at all. Parking was extra, but we knew about that in advance.

« Good times at Best Western Cairn Croft inn »

My husband and I went with 4 of our friends, everyone had a great time. The hotel is clean and the staff friendly. The pool is a little small , the hot tubs were great , most of the games in the game area don't work very good. Location is great.

« Good location, clean rooms »

We decided to go to the falls for a night and booked here. The rooms were clean and the pool was smaller then i had thought it was going to be but that wasn't the end of the world. You have to pay $13 for parking and they didn't have anywhere for me to park. Security told me to park behind the Pizza Hut (a good 1.5 blocks away) that had signs that clearly stated Pizza Hut only customers. I did and my car was there in the morning but to have to pay and then go that far to the hotel is crazy, i mentioned it to front desk and they didn't seem to care. There was a bunch of hockey teams staying in the hotel on this sat night and that obviously means the kids can run around all hours of the night. I called front desk twice and they said they would do something about it and nothing was every done. For the rate, i can't complain but there are much nicer places to stay that would treat you better then this in the Niagara Falls area.

    « Clean & comfortable »

A fair way from town centre but buses regularly run. We were on an organised COSMOS Tour. Agree with other contributor, no smoking but could smell a hint of smoke as we entered the room. The room was nicely furnished, the stand out was the bed, it was super comfortable & the rooms were quiet. We had dinner at Magilligans, the Irish Pub attached to the Hotel. It was probably the best meal we had had on our trip, would HIGHLY RECOMMEND dining there.

    « Enjoyable stay »

After a long day travelling from New York we arrived at the Best Western Cairn Croat Hotel late in the evening so all I wanted was some thing to eat, a hot shower and a nice comfy bed. After checking in I found my room, unpacked a bit then popped out for something quick to eat and a drink. I wasn't really in the mood for a big dinner so I went to the no frills supermarket next door to the hotel which was fine then went back to my room for an early night. Woke up early so decided to have breakfast in the Irish pub/ restaurant called Doc Magilligans which is attached to the hotel then we left for a day at the falls. Overall a nice hotel. My room was clean and the bed very comfy. The staff were very feindky and helpful. I didn't use the swimming pool or any other facilities apart from the room but all looked clean and tidy. The hotel is not near the falls so transport is necessary but this didn't put me off. Would stay again.

    « Nice Hotel »

First time staying at this Best Western, was pleasantly surprised with the clean rooms, nice staff, good location to restaurants The only draw back was paying for parking. Considering you are a couple of miles from the falls. Just make sure you are not paying the TIFF. Pool area looked good. In summer would be a nice walk to the falls, and if colder, the bus stops outside the hotels doors. Would stay here again.

« Hotel was ok- Quite Dated »

Niagara Falls has its share of hotels, and we found this one through our AirMiles account. It's a bit outside the center of activity, so you'll require a car to get to and from the Falls and attractions. There is a bus system, though we didn't use it so cannot comment on it. The location is a good one in terms of convenience and safety. It was easy to find and it's a direct route to the attraction area of NF. Its in a highly commercial area, so lots of selection for restaurants, etc around. One drawback was the parking fee of $12. Being that far away from the attractions, it really should be included in the rate. It sucks when you pay there, and then have to pay even more to park down by the Falls again. This is NOT A CHEAP city. Be prepared to spend! The hotel seemed tired, and dated. It's no smoking, but I could always smell the hint of stale smoke it seems (from years gone by). The hotel room was fine, basic needs were met. The reception desk guys were very helpful. The beds were comfortable, and it was a good nights sleep after a long day at the Buffalo Bills game. The pool looked nice, but didn't get to enjoy it. There was no breakfast included but we found a McDs right next door. There is also an irish Pub attached to the hotel. All in all, it was ok. Nothing spectacular, but meets the needs.

    « Great Value »

Good value. Used gym and pool. Didn't think parking fee was necessary for a hotel so far from tourist area at Niagara Falls. Can't walk to falls from hotel. Restaurant looked nice, but did not have an opportunity to use it this trip.

« Fabulous hotel in wonderful location - Staff goes above and beyond »

Always a great experience when I stay at the Best Western Plus Cairn Croft Hotel. The staff are always welcoming and helpful. Room was lovely and clean. With confidence, I would have no problem referring family and friends here. The Irish pub located in the hotel was a lot of fun too!!!

« Best Western Minus (not Plus) »

Sandwiched between Value Village, Dollarama and a No Frills store lies the Best Western Cairn Cross on Lundy's Lane. Throw in a couple of adult shops across the street to set the scene. I guess I should have known. We walked through the open hotel area (where the swimming pool is) and noticed a wedding happening beside the open pool area (strange place for a wedding we thought). We were given a room on the second floor facing the pool. The wedding and screaming kids in the pool all sounded like they were in our room. The room itself was dated and was in need of an update. The beds were comfortable but the air circulation unit sounded like a jet engine every time it came on (every 10 minutes or so). There was a funny smell in the room that we couldn't quite identify (pesticide maybe). I called the front desk and asked when the loud music from the wedding was going to stop and was told "11pm". True to their word, we heard nothing after 11. The next morning, to complete the experience, "a lady of the evening" followed me out the front door after I checked out. The staff was friendly but I won't be back.

    « Very disappointed »

Whn I arrived @ the hotel there was a mix up the front desk staff were not friendly, unapproachable, were not willing to help me at all & didn't apologize for the situation. Regardless I expected way more from this "great hotel" I may say it was resolved but not until hours later & i had to go above and get the manager who was really great! The pool and hot tubs were the highlight but no tropical fish as stated in the ad, I wasn't asked about my stay when we checked out which surprised me in a negative way. I hope they get better staff I won't be returning.

    « Wonderful Relaxing Stay »

There were 4 of us and each time we stay here it's wonderful. Rooms right by the pool, lots of tables to play games on, water tested every day, hot tub lovely, staff amazing! - so accommodating, loungers by the pool, nice soft music, great food, great entertainment at the bar -- a perfect get-away to relax!

    3
« Nice place at a great price »

Pretty much what I expected. Room was a bit musty and smoky smelling, and we couldn't get rid of it the entire stay. Other than that I have no complaints. Indoor pool and hot tubs are awesome. Great location, too.

    4
    « Good clean hotel »

Stayed 2 nights, the pool area is the jewel in its crown. It is an indoor outside feel, with pool, hot tub and loungers, it was 40 degrees and pouring down outside but felt tropical with free towels. It is about a 20 minute walk to falls, with a bus costing around 7 c.dollars for the day. Staff were friendly, room was big, spacious and clean, free wifi, food was provided in the integrated irish bar. Mcdonalds next door, Nice little hotel.

    4
« Great place to stay and relax »

I was there only for one night but I enjoyed every minute of it. Their pool area is magnificent! Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only little thing that surprised me was parking charge: $12 per night. I didn't expect that. So, if you need to stay in Niagara Falls, you should look into Best Western.

    5
« Quiet, peaceful and comfortable »

Good location, with an excellent Irish Tavern next door for Dinner and Breakfast. Room clean and bed comfortable. Being on the main road it was still quiet but easy access to Buses to take you into town. The pool on the ground floor was certainly kid friendly.

    5
    « Fabulous! »

We loved this hotel. We will definitely stay there again. The beds were comfortable, the room was spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't have time to swim but the pool looked very clean and inviting!

    5
    « Always a pleasure! »

We have stayed here a few times and it is always a lovely little get away. We go during the winter, always get a courtyard room and its a nice little few days away from the grip of winter. Lounging in the hot tub under the tropical trees its like you slipped down south for a few days! Staff is always friendly and helpful!

« BEST WESTERN PLUS CAIRNCROFT »

Very nicely appointed hotel with a great Irish bar/lounge/restaurant. Professional, helpful staff. Very comfortable rooms and beds. Great food menu and drink selection in the lounge and restaurant. I stay at this hotel when I am in Niagara Falls overnight.

« Quiet, clean and helpful. »

Had a one night stay in BW Cairn Croft. Stayed on courtyard floor and so handy for grandchildren to have access to pool and playground. Staff was courteous and helpful. Breakfast delish! Bed was really comfortable and room was clean.

« Great Stay and close to everything. »

This was a nice quiet hotel with a restaurant attached to it. While I did not eat there I heard the food was very good. (I ate with friends at their home). The room was very comfortable, spacious and the fireplace made it feel more like home than a hotel. The mattress was firm and the pillows were fantastic. Close enough to everything and far enough away for quiet. The pool is definitely a place to swim. You won't be disappointed. Stay here for a nice relaxing time in The Falls.

« Renovated and very clean »

This is a top botch hotel. I booked a premium suite with an oversized room on the fourth floor overlooking the hill which leads to the falls. The balcony affords a great view of the Skylon Tower and the city, though not the falls. The room has been renovated and bathroom was sparkling clean and looks new actually. Far better than I would've expected for a Best Western. Parking was packed and they charge $20 but location is great. Walking distance to the falls and Tim Horton's just across the street. Would definitely stay at this place again. Recommended.

« A safe, comfortable place to stay, and they will remove the (optional) tourist tax if asked to »

A welcoming front lobby with friendly staff. Lots of parking. Right on Lundy's Lane beside McDonalds. Restaurant also on site. We were in the tower, 4th floor. Quiet, although we could hear some talking in the hallway. Clean rooms with TV and good shower and tub. No fridge or microwave. High quality towels and bedding. Comfortable beds. Didn't use the pool but it looked great. Short drive to the Falls and casinos. On the bus route (Wego), but we found it more convenient to drive. When booking we asked that the tourist tax be removed from the bill and we were told that it was. I confirmed when checking in and, yes, we were not charged the extra tax. Some hotels refuse to remove the tax so this is a good hotel! You do have to ask though.

« Basic Best Western Hotel but with a good pool. »

The night we stayed there they were very busy. We opted to go and use their in-door pool which was nice. It also had two jacuzzi's which were OK but had no power in their jets. We then went to get a meal in their Irish Bar restaurant attached to the hotel, but they had entertainment on and were full! It was pouring with rain so we decided to call it a day and get an early night. Our room was nice, but unfortunately overlooked air-conditioning units outside which made made an absolute racket, so we didn't get much sleep. We were very happy to take our leave the next morning.

    4
    « Dated »

We stopped here for two nights . The place looks alittle dated and there was no safe in the room .You could use the safe downstairs but unfortunately they had all gone when we asked for one .The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable .We had a good breakfast too. Because we had an excellent night sleep I would stop here again .

    2
« Only stay in the Tower »

I've stayed here in the tower previously and it is fine. Anywhere else and I would just not stay here. the old rooms are in desperate need of a reno. They didn't make up our room on the second day and did not give us fresh towels until we called about it.

    5
« Gem in the ruff »

This is a great hotel for kids though business. Fantastic restaurant/bar. If a view of the falls is not your priority then this is your hotel. Perfectly situated for a short ride to all the sites or conference centers.

    « Great hotel »

This great hotel comes with amazing, friendly staff, several useful and fun amenities, and clean rooms. Always a fun time every time we go. The staff calls us by name now and make every effort to make our stay fun and enjoyable.

« Nice pool and courtyard. »

We stayed at this property for 1 night. the staff were great and the pool and courtyard. The room we had overlooked the courtyard but unfortunatately the room smelled like mould and the internet was very slow and did not work in the room very well. our room was a good size with two queen's. When i booked the room i thought we were closer to downtown but the property is not within walking distance of downtown. It is on the WEGO bus route which is easy to use.

    4
« Very friendly and helpful staff. »

Nice welcome. Gave us lots of info. The young man we checked in with, was very helpful.Stayed one night. Room was very clean and spacious. Didn't get chance to use the pool. Good breakfast. Just outside Niagaga Falls. Just a 15 minute bus ride in. Bought a daily bus ticket from the hotel. Went in twice. Once in the day light and again to see the falls lite up. Very reasonable hotel. Would recommend for a one night stay. Unless you want to be right on the falls.

    « Romance »

The hotel was wonderful. The lounge was great and the exchange rate was in my favor so my dollar had a very good return. The food was very good and a great value. A great place for couples to relax and enjoy themselves. The drinks were standard price.

    4
« Good location for getting to Niagara falls on Wego bus. »

The hotel was a good find and very reasonable room rate compared with other hotels in the area. Good sized rooms and free wifi. Downside is that parking fees apply. The attached Irish bar serves an excellent breakfast and provides a good menu for the evening meal. The bar could be noisy when music is played and affect some of the rooms. A/C is noisy but controllable. The bus stop down to the Niagara falls is right outside the hotel and very convenient to connect with other Wego buses which travel up and down the attractions in Niagara and to connect to Niagara on the Lake.

« Nice Hotel but needs upgrading! »

We were working at a conference and stayed at Best Western because it was listed with CPSA and the rate was reasonable for Niagara Falls. We were disappointed to find at check in that we were over the pub and there was live music until 1.30 AM. To change it was $25 plus taxes. To the best of my knowledge no one told us about the pub when we made the reservation. Also we were charged parking which is strange for me. The rooms were spacious and clean but they need serious upgrading. One of our party stayed in a suite across the hall and it was very nice so they know what to do to upgrade the rooms. I think Niagara Falls is getting like Los Vegas in terms of gouging the traveller. Three of us had breakfast at IHOP and the bill was $75.00. The night before we had snacks at TGIF and the bill was over $200.00, The rooms down by the falls are over $350. Two of our conferences are in the Falls this year and I am not sure why they would select that city.

    « 2 nights stay »

Very nice hotel with friendly staff and big rooms . Very clean. Close to the town and bars and restaurants. The red bus take u up and down all day to and from the falls . The falls are lovely. I will say go on the made of the mist but put on water proof stuff as you will get wet . Good experience. Will come back to Canada and this hotel again.

« GREAT MALUE AND A GREAT STAY »

I have stayed at the Best Western Cairn Croft Plus several times and most recently in August 2016. The rooms have always been immaculate. The service has also been above expectations. The staff is helpful, friendly and professional. The adjoining restaurant is fantastic and quite a bargain compared to similar dining venues in Niagara Falls. Try the fish and chips. The portions are huge so come with a big appetite. Overall I highly recommend this Hotel for great value and a great stay.

    « Weekend away!!! »

Love this place. Have stayed twice now. Very clean. Great service. Located on Lundy's Lane. Lots around to do. We needed joining rooms, we were accommodated. Quick check in. Nice pool, which we didn't use this time around. New pub/ restaurant on the ground level. We did not get a chance to try out. Maybe next time!!!!!

    5
    « Great Everything »

We stayed with a group of 10 women September 23-25 2016. We are totally impressed with everything from the service which by far exceeded our standards in every area. Rooms we're perfect, clean and very comfortable. In fact we are going back next year and we will again stay here, no need to look elsewhere.

    « Rest Easy »

After a 12 hour coach trip from Washington DC which included a 90 minute wait at Canada border control my partner and I were in need of a rest for our weary bones The Best Western certainly didn't disappoint First impression was the immaculate overall decor. Our room was spacious & again immaculate. Two large comfortable beds, large LCD TV & coffee facilities. The hotel benefitted from close proximity to various food establishments & a basic supermarket. The hotel had a comprehensive food menu on offer at reasonable prices. The staff were extremely polite & assured a very welcoming atmosphere. A must for anyone visiting Niagara falls this hotel ticks all the boxes for quality. Brilliant.

    4
    « Great Stay »

This Hotel was chosen by Cosmos, for 2 nights, as part of our Tour. Our room was very large with all the amenities we required. Had an evening bar meal in the adjacent Irish Pub - Doc Magilligan's which was very nice. There was an issue with our breakfast on the first morning, something to do with the chef, or lack of. We did get our breakfast eventually but some had to take theirs away and others gave up waiting as we had a tour to continue.

  • 5
    « Great service! »

My husband and I had a night away from the kids!! Naomi provided us with the very best service... Also informed us about the hotel, and all of the wonderful features!! We'll be back soon with our children. Thanks again Naomi.

    3
    « Very good shower »

It has a very good shower! I liked it a lot. The bed is comfortable as well. There is a food store next to the hotel. Prices are very low, very cheap, like a wholesaler. There are also other restaurants around too. They have a shuttle buses to the falls area which require 24hours prior book, and it costs about $8.00. Takes about 15 minutes to town, depends on traffic or how many stops that the bus stops.

    3
« Beware the bus traffic »

This clean and pleasant hotel has a couple of glitches and I experienced an uncooperative front desk staff member. First of all, if you plan to leave first thing in the morning do not park at the front of the hotel. Every day we were there, there was at least one bus parked out front loading up with guests and all of their luggage blocking in several cars parked in the row at the front of the hotel. The driver, busily loading luggage and guests is totally uninterested in moving his bus to let you out, There is plenty of parking down the side and at the back of the hotel. In my room there was a table fully equipped for plugging in a laptop and phone charger along with the coffee maker. There was a large wing-back chair in another corner, but no chair at the table. On my way out that evening I stopped at reception and asked for a chair to be put in my room, only to be told that there were no chairs available. Just then a colleague came over to me and I asked him if he had a chair in his room. He told me that there were two, so I asked the reception clerk (I think duty manager) if he would get one of the chairs from my colleagues room and have it put in my room. He agreed to do this. When I got back later, there was a chair in my room but still two chairs in my colleague's room. I guess there were chairs available. The lever operating the plug in the bathroom sink wasn't functioning, so I reported this problem. It was reattached each day but never in a permanent manner resulting in it becoming detached three out of four days.

    « Honeymoon »

This was the 3rd hotel on our trip across America/Canada. We were not disappointed. The rooms were very clean, the beds very comfortable and the facilities were generally good. Would recommend for a short stay.

« The Croft Does it Right !! »

back at the Best Western Cairn Croft we always stay here when we are in Niagara Falls ..best food , rooms and staff...Coleen in the Bar kept us entertained between the Ceremony and the reception of the wedding we attended and the front desk helped out when we needed taxis to attend the wedding....as always a great stay...

    « Pet friendly room »

We needed a short get away with our little pet. Got reservation at short notice. The room however reeked of cigarette smoke. Housekeeping tried to mitigate the issue to no avail. The hotel chain should get such rooms taken off the market until they have been passed by health and safety. We Have us massive headaches this morning. Thanks to Best western. Manager tried to refund us the parking fee of $12 and pet fee of$25 However i did wind up pay $170 for the free cranial throb. I was expecting refund for the Tylenol we're taking till this evening! ! Here's a suggestion: enforce the Govt fine if $5000 for smoking in a hospitality establishment. Designate a smoking zone away from the building! Btw there was an ashtray right outside the room door! !!

    4
    « Good hotel »

Nice little hotel, near to the falls, nice Irish bar, with great staff, adjacent to hotel, room nice big thanks to the desk staff, who rescued me,when I locked myself out of the room, at 5.30am. Did not use the shuttle bus, but ideally placed, right outside the hotel

    3
    « Clean & Convenient Hotel »

Free parking, comfortable room made for a good family golf outing. Service was slow at Sunday breakfast, waited 45 minutes for our meal. More staff would have helped. Friday dinner in the restaurant was noisy in the packed facility. Food was inexpensive but the noise level detracted from the social atmosphere of a family meal. I would stay there again but perhaps avoid the busy weekend schedule. TV worked fine with a variety of channels, even PBS to watch! Pool and weight room appealed to younger family members. Laundry facility was clean and convenient.

    3
« A little out of the ordinary »

The place was nice and clean, with modern furnishings. The cleaning products were a little too fragrant. The establishment was nice and clean and the staff was extremely friendly. I would've enjoyed my stay 10x more if we were placed in a room on the inside of the building. I didn't like that my room was basically motel style, that lead directly to the outside. Upon my arrival back to go to sleep, a group of girls were smoking outside the door, waiting for a ride. It made things awkward. Had we been in the actual hotel building, I would've felt a lot safer, and had a much better experience.

    4
« WeGo bus stops in front of hotel »

We are a bit budget conscious and chose this hotel away from the main tourist area around the falls and was not disappointed with the friendly staff and clean facilities for the price of our stay. Another benefit was that the hotel in on a WeGo route with stop right in front of the building which we utilized to get to the falls area to save on parking since we were already paying for parking at the hotel. My only disappointment is that breakfast is not provided as with the hotels in the U.S. and no refrigerator/microwave available in the rooms. Otherwise the room was clean and quiet in spite of being located on the street side of the tower building. Originally, our room was reserved in the atrium/pool area, but the check-in staff suggested that we check out the location and could relocate us if we thought the noise from the pool area would disturb us, which we did and decided to move and glad that we did. There are lots of restaurants and shops around the hotel to satisfy your needs. We didn't have the opportunity to try the restaurant adjoining the hotel, but it came highly recommended and would try the next time we visit the falls.

« Wish we could have stayed longer! »

I just happened to stumble across this hotel on the groupon website and scored a great price. First let me start by saying if you stay here, you must have breakfast at their restaurant down on the first floor. Can't remember the name of it but it was very good. Plenty of coffee to start your morning, food was cooked perfectly and the waitress staff was the best. As far as the hotel, I wish we had a few extra days added to our 3 day stay in Niagra falls so we could have enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tubs. Once we got up in the morning we were gone till 8-10pm at night, never getting the chance to put on our swimsuits and enjoy the pool. The front desk staff was very helpful with directions and even suggestions for places to eat in the downtown area. The only downfall I had with this hotel is the parking and the room selection. The restaurant downstairs in really a pub that has live bands playing 2 or the 3 nights we were there. So the pub seems to have a large cliental that shows up for the local bands and they take over the parking lot making it hard to find a spot for your car. The room selection was probably my own fault. As I stated earlier in this review, I selected this hotel through the groupon website. I should have called ahead and tried to secure a king size bed versus 2 twin beds for myself and my wife. Being 6' 2" the two of us do not fit very well in a twin bed, like I said my own fault. If I was to vacation the Niagara area I would select this hotel again.

    « Best Stay »

Perfect spot to visit Niagara. Inexpensive, clean, and has a beautiful indoor garden and pool area complete with mini-arcade and play area for children. Whether you want a pool-side room for easy access or you take an ?east wing' room (which is where we stayed) separated from the pool area by a door to block sound, I highly recommend this hotel. The only thing which detracted was the chlorine smell in the pool area but it only was in that area. The business office was tidy and had free printing. The hotel was a stop on the local WeGo route which takes you everywhere you might want as a tourist in Niagara. And it also hosts a local ?hotspot': Doc Magilligan's Irish pub. Overall, if you want to visit Niagara (without shelling out $150+/night) and have all the amenities of a resort stay, choose Cairn Croft. It was perfect.

    « A comfortable stay »

A very comfortable hotel which was very clean and helpful with excellent food. The hotel was situated within easy reach of Niagara Falls and the entertainment area of Niagara which is well worth visiting.

    « It was ok. »

Check in was smooth. We had a problem with our first room on the ground floor. It was by the pool and it was so hard to breath from the chlorine smell, also the room was too small. Our 2nd room was also on the ground level. The room was larger and no calorie smell. The bathroom had a mildew smell. I think the shower curtain needs to be changed. Pillows could be firmer.

« Good base for the Falls experience »

Decent hotel, friendly & welcoming staff, spacious rooms. A little bit of investment in the pool area would be beneficial. Best asset being the link to McGilligans pub . Parade of shops, bank & McDonalds close by. Recommend the WeGo bus service to get to and from the Falls.

    « Well where do I start »

I could easy guess this is more of a family hotel. The pool which is in an air conditioned area was cold and at the deeper end was only 4 feet deep. The hot tub had lots of heat but the jets had no power. It certainly doesn't seem adult oriented. Good weekly prices but weekends get up there in price

    « Nice hotel »

Upon arrival, you are greeted by friendly staff. I was traveling with my husband & 2 kids, we requested a quiet room and got a room facing the streets rather their indoor pool. The kids got hold of the room before I was able to take pictures but everything was clean. The pool was a decent size for kids and a great way burn kid's energy. The bus stop is in front of the hotel and its only 15 minutes bus ride to the Falls. I would definitely stay here again. Very convenient and lots of fast food around for last minute craves.

    « Did not get a room I reserved 2 months back »

I reserved a room about 2 months before my stay. I got there 10:30 in the morning to see if the room is available to check in. I was told to come back at 3pm. This is already quiet irregular as I have never heard of not being able to check into a room at 11 or noon. Went back at 3:30 and was told that there is no room for me, they had to take room "out of service". No apology and was told in a very rude way that, that is it. Gave us another hotel several kms away, out of downtown which made my plans to walk around and walk to the falls and casino areas impossible. The other hotel was not even close in quality and did not include breakfast either as my original booking. Will get my money back through my credit card.

« Brought Grandson to see Niagara Falls »

We were very satisfied with our courtyard room, although pricey. The jets in one of the hot tubs were not working and that was disappointing. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool area is nice. I felt it was overpriced for just a room.

« Pool is amazing, courtyard rooms are loud but with a curfew »

Nice small lobby with a friendly staff. This is a great hotel for families and groups!!! The pool area/atrium is one of the best hotel pools I have ever been in. A few video games, Foosball, a young kids climbing tunnel/structure, two hot tubs for the parents and a nice sized pool for the kids. Pool Curfew is 10 and the games get turned off at 11 But it gets loud in the courtyard rooms before that. The Curfew made for a much quieter night. There are small tables in the courtyard in-between rooms to just chill and read or eat a snack while you watch the kids in the pool form above. We saw a lot of business type folks as well bu they stayed in the main hotel. I am sure that was a quieter experience. The echo in the atrium was a bit loud until curfew hit. Great exercise room and showers next to them. Ice machine vending etc. McDonald's next door for Breakfast. Downside and kept me from giving it a 5 is there is a parking fee of about $13 Can. per day. That added up for us. I did book online and I don't recall anyone telling me about it at the front desk. But I signed a card when I got there and I suppose they highlighted it, but i missed it. If you call directly they will tell you about parking at the time of booking.

    « Nice room »

Stayed in tower suite. Used to the marriott Fallsview so hard to compare to that. Room was clean and comfortable. Hottub was greatly enjoyed. Found the hotel itself hard to get through as every door needed you're key card to get through. Parking was hard but understand hotel was fully booked. Definitely worth what we payed. Second time staying there over the years. Didn't use the pool. Overall good stay.

    5
« Great for family with smaller kids »

Rooms that surround an indoor pool make excellent economy retreat for family with children. In the middle of winter it feels like you are vacationing somewhere south. The rooms are clean, pool and 2 hot tubs are in good condition. Kids had a very good time.

« Best Hotel in the Falls »

Absolutely love this hotel we stayed in July with our family and had an amazing time. My husband I returned for a little vacation for ourselves and again we were impressed. Staff is always very helpful. Thank you Paul for handling our reservation our room #274 was just beautiful also thank you Steve for the great conversation and laughs. We have found our favorite hotel that we will return to anytime we are in Niagra Fall

« BW Plus Cairn Croft Hotel, Niagara Falls »

Nice hotel with friendly, helpful staff and a nice restaurant /bar attached. A little far to walk to falls but bus right at door which only cost $7.50 for 24 hour multiple use. Would stay here again as nice big, clean rooms and a lovely pool are.

    3
« To far away from the falls. »

Clean and tidy but a bit dated. Free wifi but very slow . There is a restaurant attached that had a responsibly priced breakfast but can't comment on the dinner as we did not eat there. The falls are quite a we way away but there is local bus that you can catch but be wary that after 10 pm they only go every hour and as we were there on one of the nights they have fireworks at the falls, if didn't get on the but as soon as they were finished you had to wait another hour for the next bus.

    « Fantastic stay! »

Beautiful building inside and out. Great clean pool. Room was lovely and spacious. Bed was really cpmfy best nights sleep. The hotel was away from main strip but bus stopped right outside of it which was 24/7 bus.

« Just a place to lay your head »

We normally choose Best Western. We were surprised that breakfast was not included in our booking. We were also very surprised about the parking charges of $12 a day. Very unreasonable. We stayed in room 257 and the windows were filthy. We could not see out of the bottom 2/3rds. In addition the room had an odor, probably from the pub below. The internet access was non existent. I tried to call the front desk but couldn't get through and they said that there phone system was updating and the front desk button no longer works. When i did finally inquire about the internet I was told the hotel was fully booked and all the band width was being used. What was the most disappointing was the staffs nonchalant attitude to our concerns. We were very polite and I guess they didn't think we were that unhappy.

    4
« no bar by the pool bumber »

hotel staff was great had a blood stain on blanket witch freaked out my kids house keeping changed it out for us only really complaint was that the bar by the pool was never opened ask the front desk they said only open on special events didn't see that anywhere on there site and was one of the reasons we booked that hotel was for the bar by the pool oh well restaurant service was really bad but might of been that we just got stuck with the wrong waiter

    « A great place to stay! »

With just a short 5 minute drive to the falls, this hotel is a great place to stay. Has a wonderful courtyard and pool. The courtyard rooms have patio doors leading out to the courtyard which makes it easy when going swimming. The double queen rooms are a decent size and the beds are really comfortable. There's a restaurant attached to the hotel, so you don't even need to leave the hotel to get something to eat. We have stayed here a few times and it's great everytime.

    5
« I did my homework on TripAdvisor »

Looked at a lot of places before booking this one. The excellent reviews matched my own experience. Great value for the price. Nice room with a fridge. It's a good mile walk to the falls from this hotel. There is a shuttle available for $7.50 a day unlimited. We chose to walk. Good thing there are 2 working hot tubs, so we usually got our own after a full day of walking. $12 Canadian each day to park..... but everywhere else was the same. Leave the car & walk or other transportation.

    « Weekend getaway »

Our say was great. The hotel was located in a good location, close to lots of activities and things to do. The staff were all friendly and courteous. The pool and courtyards were beautiful. We will definitely return to this location.

    2
    « Will not return »

For the price of $300 a night, this hotel did not live up to expectations. Our room never cooled down under 80 degrees. With 5 people and two dogs, it made for a very restless night. The bathroom was clean but very small. The manager provided fans to help us cool down, but it was not enough. The pool area is entertaining for the children. The parking is difficult to man over with a small trailer. A very poor value for the price. Will not be returning!!!

    « Great Experience »

We spent a weekend here on a Family&Friend getaway. It was a pleasant stay. The rooms were very clean and the staff was kind, friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.

    « Golf Package »

We booked this hotel as they have golf packages available. Included in the package are breakfasts at the restaurant at Doc Magilligans pub. The hotel is well located only a 15-20 minute walk downtown or take the WEGO bus just outside. It has a swimming pool and two hot tubs and a play area for young children. We did not use the pool as we were gone most of the day golfing and touring. We had a suite which was very comfortable. The staff were great . Very friendly . It is nice to walk into busy hotel and greeted with a smile and welcome to our home. Well done

« Very nice hotel with excellent staff and customer service »

My children and I stayed here for 4 nights last week and were very pleased overall. The room was clean, newer, and roomy enough for the three of us. (2 queens) Wego is right outside the hotel so that was very convenient. Every question was answered with great detail and kindness. All staff were extremely friendly and great at their job. Had supper at the attached rest. one night, food was ok, unfortunately the service was terrible. 2.5 hrs for dinner service and we all ordered the special. my children left to go to bed and I still had to wait .5 hr for the bill then another 15 min. to pay it. But restaurant is separate and would not stop me from staying at this wonderful hotel again, just go somewhere else to eat.

    4
« Bucket List to see the falls »

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western.. It was very convenient and the staff were able to help us get tickets to the Wego and it also had a convenient stop right in front. It really is too far to walk to the falls.. Take the Wego! The Irish Pub next door is one of my favorite parts of my stay.. Really great food and very comfy and cozy atmosphere. Would stay here again.

« Nice hotel but a bit of drive from the Falls »

We stayed here for a few nights when visiting Niagara and were happy with it. It was about a 35 minute walk to down town Niagara so we walked down early in the morning and would cab it back at night. There is a bus that you can take but it is $7 per person for 24 hours. With 4 of us, it was better to cab as it was about $15. We were right over the pool area so our windows were all fogged up and you couldn't see out of them. Pool area is nice though and the restaurant is good. You have to pay for parking though when you check out. Outlet mall isn't too far away and McDonald's is right beside it.

« Nice Stay for the Cost »

We stayed at Best Western at 6400 Lundy's Ln in August 2016. I chose this hotel because of the value and the pool/kid area. Having a 6 and 9 year old, have an area for the kids to enjoy is key to some relaxation on a family trip. The hotel staff were kind and friendly right away. Laurie at the front desk immediately provided me with two kids eat free coupons at the attached restaurant, Doc Magilligan's, when she found out I had kids. Said if I needed more, to just ask. The food was good too. The room was clean upon arrival. The showers have a shampoo and body wash dispenser. I like that! The pool area consisted of an indoor patio area with plenty of tables and chairs, two hot tubs, video games and a kids jungle gym area. They do charge a $12 a day parking fee and they also charge the Tourism Tax. Cost $11 for 2 days. Not really worth the time spent arguing to have it taken off. Saturday night cost us $188, Sunday cost $131, for a two day total of $399 with taxes and parking. One of the cheaper stays. The rooms were good size and came with a frig and microwave. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel and for $7.50 per adult and $4.50 for children 6-12 you can have a 24 hour pass to the bus system. For $12 per adult and $8.50 per child the pass is for 48 hours. This is a great way to get around. Enjoy!

« Appreciative but be aware parking added to you total »

After looking for hotels most of the day ended up here on a Thursday evening, stayed 2 nights. Was greeted by friendly staff who were willing to let us know of the different spots/attractions near to the hotel and we were very appreciative as we had never stayed at this end of Niagara Falls before. Furniture could be updated, not contemporary but room was neat, clean and a nice size. We forgot our toothbrushes, called front desk and had complimentary toothpaste too. Allowed husband to use microwave to reheat his food so we appreciated as there was no microwave in room. On drawback was we were next to an adjoining room and could hear the guests next door playing games, entertaining until 12/1am. We did not complain as we know most were/are on vacation this time of year but walls are thin. Overall good location, 5/10 minutes away from attractions. Would stay here again though, book in advance to get the lower rate as parking is $12 a night

« A tropical pool oasis for families »

The pool area is the star of the hotel. Even though it is indoors, the skylight above, the tropical plants and the koi pond makes you feel like you are outdoors minus the excessive sun. Perfect for young kids. In fact, Our kids spent most of the 4 days at the pool - they didn't even want to go to the water slides! Too bad the bar area was always closed. :( With lots of tables around the pool, we often brought in our own lunch and drinks. Very nice family atmosphere. The rooms are clean - somewhat dated (carpet is old) but very comfortable beds and pillows. We barely were in the room - always at the pool. We got a family package that included parking and a full breakfast (choice of 3 breakfast meals) at the restaurant next door. the price was the best value considering how much more we would have to pay for parking and breakfast for 4. Well worth it. The bus is right in front of the hotel so it was easy access to the Falls and attractions. 10 minutes at the most to get to most places. It was the best way to get to everything - highly recommend getting a bus pass for your stay. The location is quiet with lots of fast food places within walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel to families visiting the Falls! Oh and if you have comic book lovers in the family, there is an excellent store across the street that has a huge selection of books and collectables.

    « Loved our stay »

We loved the stay at this hotel. Our anniversary is in January so we were not able to use the outdoor area but we did enjoy every night here. We came so tired and booked thought a third party. We had previously came from another hotel that had told us were sold out. I was so glad to have landed here. They have a restaurant next to the hotel that you can access form the inside. Very nice and food great. I recommend it 100%. Thank you for a great stay.

    « Niagara Falls 2016 »

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very clean and staff was very friendly and always ready to help. Our room was located in the courtyard facing the indoor pool which was great since we had children with us. We rated this hotel as average due to the overall look of the hotel which had its usual " wear and tear " but also because of its location. Although we had a great experience, it was located further from where we wanted to be. There was alot of driving and walking involved during this trip. Another plus however was having a McDonalds right across the hotel... another great thing when travelling with children!

    4
« A decent choice for good family accommodations »

I stayed here with my wife and two children on a family vacation. The area surrounding this hotel is about a 5-10 minute drive (depending on traffic) to the Falls area and related attractions. The Wego bus is a convenient way around if you don't have a car or prefer not to drive. There is not really much on Lundy's Lane itself apart from a couple of sites of interest to history buffs... it is your basic generic North American strip of big box stores, chain restaurants and stripmalls. The hotel itself is nice, a bit older but in serviceable shape. Our room was in the tower which had indoor hallway access and two elevators. The room was quiet and comfortable, a bit tight for the four of us but not too cramped. Furnishings were a bit worn but the room was generally clean and well kept. One of the nice benefits of the hotel was an indoor pool and recreation area which my preschool age son really loved. We tried to visit during quieter hours of the day and there was plenty of room for us. There is onsite parking although you get dinged $12 a day which is annoying given that you're nowhere near a downtown area where parking is at a premium. Service throughout the stay was impressively professional and courteous. Staff there are obviously well-trained and equipped to handle whatever comes their way. All in all this is a good hotel whose appeal lies mainly in the fact that it's a good, economical alternative to pricier hotels closer to the Falls.

    4
    « value and comfort »

A good hotel to stay where it is economical and comfortable. Restaurant on site serves good value meals. A bit of a distance to the actual falls. The bus is at the door and the taxi is not overly expensive

« Good place for the family. »

Love the indoor pool right in front of our courtyard room. Very neat and tidy rooms. We have bee returning here for years. One problem is they pipe this awful 80's music into the courtroom nonstop. It's not the good 80's music either. Sometimes I complain and they shut it down..

    « Relaxing Hotel »

I spent there for 2 days with my family. Lots of restaurants around the hotel. I really like the pool and the hot tub. It was right beside my bedroom. Very professional and courteous. For the price and quality, I am planning to go there again.

Clean comfortable. Good pool area for kids & friendly staff. Enjoyed the Irish pub downstairs however Niagara Falls prices never cease to shock. Would never pay this much for mid-range hotel in another market.

    « Anniversary celebration »

This hotel (actually, motel) was a big disappointment. Although the front desk staff were courteous, the whole hotel smelled of air fresheners and carpet deodorizers. Our room also had a very unpleasant smell and it was very moist despite the air conditioner running when we first arrived. If this had been a discounted hotel price, I wouldn't be so harsh, but we paid a high price for our room and it was really, sub-par. The location is good, and it's close to a grocery store but I would not return there, even at a discounted rate. There was also a charge for parking where most Best Westerns include it in the price.

    5
    « Good value »

Staff was very helpful in explaining about the bus system. This hotel is a little off the beaten path, which is awesome. You can park your car and for a nominal fee of $12/day/adult you can take the buses - off and on as many times as you want. The one that stops in front of the hotel (red) takes you right to the Falls; the other two (green and blue) take you to other parts of the Falls area. Great bargain considering parking is limited and costs $20/per day. The hotels is clean and comfortable. The pool is warm and sparkling clean. The staff is friendly and helpful.

    « Had a great stay! »

The staff in general were awesome and helpful. Had a minor issue with the conversion rate and bar bill and things were resolved quite easily. See the Porter, John, and he will make sure your stay is perfect. The restaurant staff, Laura and Joshua, were THE BEST!

« Great stay, very helpful staff »

We stayed for 3 nights at the end of July. We were in a corner room off the courtyard. We had a great time! Catherine (I think) at the front desk had some great recommendations for things to do with the kids. I wish the pool bar were open, but it wasn't at all. Thanks for a great stay!

    « Great Stay »

Hotel is dated but clean! customer service is great! Everybody from Front desk to Housekeeping services were friendly and helpful! Our housekeeper did an excellent job with our room- Location is great- too far to walk to the Falls but WeGo bus stops in front of hotel! There are a lot of restaurants within walking distance ( Arbys,McD, Wendys) Our fav was the restaurant in hotel! (not a fast food) excellent!! Complimentary coffee in the lobby would be great!

    3
    « Served it's purpose »

An average hotel in a busy area. The east wing of the property is surrounded by two fast food restaurant parking lots so watch out for cars! The restaurant dumpsters were in close proximity of the hotel so when the temperatures rose, so did the offensive odor from them. The room did not have a safe for valuables and the beds were hard. The room at night was quiet. Still can't see how it rated #2 on Tripadvisor, as this is why chose this hotel.

« Trip to Niagara Falls »

We stayed here on our trip to Niagara Falls and we were grateful that the hotel is pet friendly:) we enjoyed our stay the bathroom was a little out dated and had an odor but it was clean we had trouble finding our room due to the layout but we were happy be to close to the pool which was clean and enjoyable:)

    2
    « Best Western Minus »

This hotel is way too pricey for the condition of the rooms. First thing we were greeted with was a damp musty smell. The bathroom was in poor condition and we had a few unexpected visits in the bathroom the next morning. Definitely not worth the money.

« the best hotel in niagra falls »

we came to the hotel and the receptionist said we have two separate rooms one in the courtyard and one in the tower and she said they were sold out but then she managed to get us rooms beside each other in the tower all the staff we met were friendly and it was a clean hotel we checked the mattress and all the sheets thoroughly and it was clean so that is good the WiFi was good and the parking was not too expensive compared to other hotels and the pool looked very nice except we could not find the change rooms and we were thinking about staying another night and the manager Paul wanted too give us a better price the only downside of this hotel is that breakfast is not included but it is in a convenient location because it had Wendy's, McDonald's, burger king and tim hortons in the gas station only a minute walk away and a restaurant & Irish pub inside the hotel that has a family friendly breakfast for $7.95 per plate and you pay separately for a drink and we are 100% sure we will stay their again.

    « Fair »

After booking online with Best Western a month prior to our visit, we arrived to being asked, "The band is here today. You may hear them playing til about 0100. Is this okay?" I quickly stated no and the staff switched our room. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The WEGO has a stop right out in front of the hotel. We (family of six) did walk the trek a few times for exercise . To get to the falls or Table Rock is longer than 15 min stroll.

    5
    « Perfect for families »

A little outside the main hustle and bustle of Niagra but there is a bus that stops right outside and goes regularly making access easy. Nice pool, nice bar and restaurant attached. Very family friendly, clean, nice staff. If we were to return we would stay here and happily recommend it.

« Average, a little far from Clifton Hill and the falls »

Clean and relatively quiet hotel, staff were friendly. Probably a good place to stay if you are driving however it is a fair distance from Clifton Hill and the Falls which are the main attractions that bring people to Niagara so consider the location.

    4
    « Friendly Family Place »

All and all this is a great place to stay. The rooms were clean but a little dated. The atrium/pool area was great. Pool, hot tubs, cildrens play area, games, and seating area with bar and food services. All tied into the centre of the hotel. I also enjoyed the restaurant / pub attached to this hotel. As I said, this was a great package type of hotel to stay at.

    « Great accommodations »

Rooms could use some updating, wi-fi is a bit slow, parking should be free and would be nice to have coffee at the front lobby. But aside from that, the hotel was very clean, comfortable and the staff was great. Would visit again.

« Average but clean hotel »

Niagara Falls on a summer weekend can be busy and expensive. A last minute decision to visit the Niagara region left us with few options for a hotel under $250.00. I think we booked the last room available at the BW, The room had a queen bed and was furnished basic - a bed, a chair, two night tables, clock, and a table for the TV. The view from our window was a Wendy's restaurant. You dispensed shampoo and conditioner from a small machine on the wall in the shower (like a hand sanitizer machine). The room was functional, very clean and quite, but not a good choice for a romantic honeymoon suite. In summary the BW is ok for a one night stay. Parking like most hotel in NF is extra. Front desk staff very friendly.

« Great place to stay »

My mom and I stayed here for 3 days and 2 night while we were in Niagara Falls. We loved the hotel because it was very clean, the staff was really helpful, and the location was great for the price. Even though it is not located within walking distance of the Falls the WEGO shuttle system is super convenient and a much better option than driving to the Falls. We liked that the hotel was located in an area where there are dining options. Doc Mulligan's, the restaurant attached to the hotel, is a great place for breakfast and lunch. I recommend their breakfast special. Our room was a great size for two adults and very clean. We did not use the pool but it seemed that it is a hit for both adults and children. Paying for overnight parking is totally worth it. They even let us leave the car for a few hours after check out until we were ready to drive back home.

    5
« Not handy to the falls, but lovely hotel. »

The quality of this hotel is magnificent-very spacious rooms and excellent facilities. It is a car-ride back to the falls, but also away from the seedy side of the Niagara Falls touristy area. I would stay there again.

    « 3 stars »

This was an interesting hotel. $12 a night for parking and no complimentary amenities. They did have a soap dispensary in the shower for soaps, but I was glad I brought my own. The air conditioner keep rumbling on and off and there would be no airflow so I ended up turning the fan on so it wasn't so dang hot. The bed and pillows were comfy and the staff was nice.

    3
« Average hotel too far from Niagara Falls »

The pool area is great for kids and would be wonderful in the winter. The hotel charges more for parking than the lots near the Falls. It is possible to walk to the Falls area from the hotel but it is a very long walk - close to an hour - through a sketchy area including stores I did not want the children seeing. The walk back is all up hill. The breakfast is expensive if not included with the room. There is a code attached to your reservation indicating if you get breakfast. We were told our code did not qualify contrary to what was said on the web when we made the reservation. The rooms are adequate, no big complaints, no big compliments. Would not stay here again mainly because of the location and parking fee. Also felt rooms were more expensive than they should have been given the location.

We have enjoyed our over night stay, comfy bed, nice facilities, express check in with a warm welcome from customer service representative Joe, and explained the fast or express check out. Location is very near to Fallsview too, just couple of minutes drive, we had our breakfast at the nearby MacDonald for their coffee and egg muffin, just walking distance. there is breakfast too at the restaurant at ground floor but were not able to try it, maybe on our next stay.

I've traveled many places and whenever there is a fee the staff point out on the paper you sign on during check-in process. But this hotel, they charge a parking fee, which the staff didn't reveal when check in.

    « Great Stay »

The hotel location is located a little far away from the center and the falls, but over all was a truly accommodating stay. The hotel is relatively cheaper than the ones located near the falls and is a walk to the falls. The fair pricing and excellent staff and service made the stay comfortable and worth it!

« Would definitely stay again »

We stayed for 2 nights and I have to say the customer service was fantastic . Probably the best we experienced on our whole trip. We did have a pet friendly room which smelled very odd upon entering but we were willing to look past that as the other 2 rooms I booked were great . They were right on the courtyard which was great for the 6 children we had with us . The staff were very friendly and very helpful . They helped with luggage , brought us towels while we were in the hot tub and checked often to make sure everything was ok . We enjoyed a great breakfast at the restaurant with a lovely waitress . The only negative thing that happened was that while we were out housekeeping cleaned our room and somehow my daughters stuffed animal went missing . The staff did a through search of the hotel but couldn't find it . On the day we left my daughter cried here eyes out ( it was very special to her). Upon arriving back in AB I called to seeing it had shown up , no luck . However the lost and found manager felt very bad about this and said she'd see what they could do . Well today a brand new stuffed animal ( the same as the lost one ) arrived in the mail . The smile on my daughters face was awesome . Thank you all so much , it was a great experience

    « It's good but I was disappointed »

This was my second time visiting this hotel. I had visited a few years back as a couples getaway and liked it so much I wanted to bring my son. I booked a courtyard accessible room for two nights a Wednesday and a Thursday. My first disappointment was that our room was not courtyard facing. It was tucked way back in the farthest corner of the hotel next to the outside stairwell leading to the rear parking lot. When I inquired about this I was told with a shrug that the hotel was at full capacity and basically too bad. I paid over $400 Canadian for these two nights and in my opinion that was way too much especially for a mid week visit. The room was clean but the fridge didn't work and to get a working ice machine we had to go up to the 5th floor everytime because the first floor machine is broken and the third floor machine took five mins to spit out 2 cups of ice. The pool area is very nice however the pools deepest part is only about 4 feet deep. Great for little kids but maybe not so great for my teen boys. Very good location lots of restaurants and close to the outlets. Staff upon checkout were friendly. All in all it was just not the right choice for my family and we won't stay there again. For a family with small kids or pets this is a good clean hotel for a short stay.

« Great place to stay »

We booked the Carin Croft based on our previous experience with Best Western hotels. This is a great place to stay! We'd definitely stay here again. Room was very clean and service was very friendly. Good rates because you're a bit off the main tourist area. We only had time to enjoy the pool once, but it was a great place to relax before dinner. The pub next door has fantastic food. Not your average pub food either. Live music Thursday to Saturday. There's a McDonald's half a block away if you want something quick. There's even a grocery store across the next parking lot. You're about a half hour walk to the Niagara "strip" if you don't have a car. Or for $7 a day, the WeGo tourist bus line stops in front of the hotel. The walk to the Falls is nice, but I'd only do it once. Unfortunately the WeGo bus service didn't start their faster summer run until July 24, so we waited an hour sometimes to get back to the hotel. Thanks to the Carin Croft, we always had a welcoming place to call "home" during our vacation. Niagara Falls is a must-see!

    « Clean and Comfortable »

We were looking for a place to stay for one night in Niagara Falls, Ontario. I thought that this hotel was a little closer to the falls than it turned out. It was a fair distance from the falls. Nonetheless, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay here again when I visit Niagara Falls again. We drove to the falls and parked and we needed directions and advice as to where we should park. Jane was very willing to help out and cheerfully gave us directions and the cheap spots to find a place to put our auto, and not too far from the falls. On the down side, we showed up a little early to check in (2 pm, check-in is 3 pm) I have never had a problem checking in as little as one hour prior to check in time. Not only was is not ready at 2, when we came back at 3, it was still not ready. Once again it was Jane that navigated the issue for the check-in clerk. I'm sure it was a busy weekend but Jane was adept at navigating the issues. I thank her for her assistance and extra care.

    « Disappointed »

If you spend a few minutes browsing my reviews, you'll see I'm pretty loyal to the Best Western brand and have stayed in their hotels all over the place. Because of that loyalty, and because of my trust of Trip Advisor reviewers, I didn't hesitate to book this one (#5 of however many in Niagara Falls), even though it seemed pricey to me. It is Niagara Falls, after all. When we checked in, we were told that we had been upgraded. Because of my loyalty to the brand, I occasionally get upgraded to some pretty nice rooms. So it was with excitement that we took our keys and headed for the room. We were met with crushing disappointment. We were on the second floor of the motel wing, which is accessed from the outside. We passed a smoker on that balcony on our way to the room. We opened the room, which was a basic hotel room, smelling strongly of moth balls. If this was an upgrade, we wondered what the basic rooms looked like. We opened the curtains to look out on the pool, to find a person on the balcony walking past. When he gave us our separate (actual) keys for the balcony, I assumed he meant a private balcony. We had a lovely one of those at a Best Western in LA last summer. This balcony, though was a thoroughfare for people on the second floor. Since I was uncomfortable with the moth ball smell, and my wife and daughter didn't like the motel feel, we went back to the desk and asked if we could be downgraded to a regular room in the main building. We were told that the only thing available was a suite, for $25 more per night. We took it. It was great. It was clean, had a separate bedroom, and a pull out sofa. It was a little dated. The front desk staff was great in helping us make the transition to another room, which is something I have never asked for before. As we came and went for three nights, I came to feel a little like I was back in a college dorm. There were always people smoking on the balcony of the motel part when we went to our car. When we passed the pool, people were drinking in the hot tub. Heading for the elevator to go out for dinner one night, we encountered a fellow in his underwear, filling a garbage can with ice. As far as the other things go, there is no breakfast provided. We walked to the Flying Saucer one day, and Tim Hortons the next day. The WiFi is painfully slow. You can walk to the falls and other attractions from here, but it's a bit of a hike. It took us about 20-25 minutes. Uber is up and running in Niagara Falls, so we got in the habit of walking to the falls and Ubering back. I'm not sure this is a Best Western Plus level hotel. It's priced like their Premier hotels, but feels more like their regular ones. I'd have been perfectly content here at half the price. If you're traveling to Niagara Falls, it's probably worth the extra $100 per night to stay right at the falls in one of the big hotels there.

« Great for families or large groups, close to everything »

I recently stayed at this hotel as part of a group since we were in town for a tournament. The hotel itself was very clean and inviting and we were greeted immediately when we arrived. The room was "okay" and had plenty of storage, a fridge, coffee/coffee maker and a separate sink/prep area with blowdryer provided. It was great for the girls who all made good use of the indoor pool area and the proximity to restaurants and shops was excellent. The grounds were kept in great condition and small outdoor tables with umbrellas were well used throughout the trip. I really liked how the main floor rooms around the courtyard had a separate door which opened to the parking lot allowing us to easily unload our gear right into the room. The pool was a good size and towels were provided right on the deck, so you didn't have to drag your room towels around with you. The parents made use of the courtyard area at night as we gathered around the lovely tables that were poolside. The hotel was great about shutting down all of the common areas by 10pm and then by closing the courtyard at 11pm so that guests wouldn't be disturbed. I found the level of noise to be very good once we were in the room with the a/c on. The only downside for me was the cost - this was the most expensive hotel that the team booked for the season, so I think my expectations were a bit higher based on this alone. I was also surprised to be charged for parking on top of our hotel room, especially given that the distance from our vehicle to the room was substantial (this charge may be perhaps warranted if the hotel could provide a unique parking # spot close to your room). I have stayed in much cheaper hotels which included amazing free breakfasts but I realize this is a tourist area and a good value for being so close to all of the attractions.

    « Failrly okay hotel »

Pros: Nice pool with hot tubs. Rooms were clean. Very close to falls. Cons: $12/day for parking No complimentary breakfast. Usually all best western provide that. wifi was lousy. No microwave in the room.

« Perfect for parents with children, very pet friendly , great room and staff! »

After having traveled across the continent our final stop was Niagara Falls on the Canadian side. The best Western had the last pet friendly room and were very very accommodating. It had an outside door, a grass patio with a dining area. It has a palm court with swimming pool and only 10 minutes drive from the falls. One could also walk. Highly recommend

    « Niagra Falls »

The overall hotel was very nice. The restaurant/pub on the property was very good. As far as location it was of the main area. The mass transit (WEGO) stops right in front of the hotel and that took the sting out of the location.. On the negative side I feel it stinks to charge there guest to pay $12.00 a day for parking when you are staying there.

    « Fun Hotel! »

We stayed here for a couple of nights to explore Niagara Falls. We loved it because of the nice swimming pool in the courtyard. In the courtyard, there were a bunch of different games and a play area for little kids. They even made a towel elephant on our bed after cleaning, which the kids loved! It is one of the stops on the red line WEGO bus public transportation which made it easy to go to Niagara Falls without having to drive and look for parking. Front desk was knowledgable and helpful. There are restaurants within walking distance (McDonald's, burritos, and pizza). It's far from hustle of downtown Niagara, but easy to get down there on WEGO. Tip: Request courtyard rooms for easy access to pool area. Tip: Get an Adventure Pass!

« Nice hotel Nr. Falls. »

You can walk to the falls, or take a taxi for about 10 dollars. Buses also run from outside the hotel. Our room was inside looking onto the pool and kids play area. They shut this area at about 10 o'clock and then it's quiet. The room had 2 large double beds a fridge ,iron + board, hairdryer , free wifi in room. No safe in the room. Nice decor and comfortable beds. We used the Irish pub attached to the hotel ,Magilligans. Nice meals but watch the bill as they add gratuity but don't tell you.

« Clean, comfortable stay-good value for the money »

This property is located close enough to the falls to make it convenient, but just far enough away that you're not right in the center of all the noise/foot traffic. Rooms are well equipped, clean and very comfortable. WIFI didn't work one evening, but they were quickly trying to resolve the situation. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay at this property again.

    « Loved this hotel »

This is a quirky hotel with a great indoor pool. To get to our room you had to go through a number of swipe through/ key card doors. The room had 2 big double beds and nice bathroom. There was a bar next door called Mulligans which served great food and the staff were really friendly. This hotel isn't too far from Niagara Falls about a 30 minute walk or you can grab a taxi or even jump the bus. Lots to do around Niagara Falls. Would definitely stay here again.

    « Enjoyed our stay »

This was our first time at Cairn Croft Hotel and it was to our liking. The staff was very helpful. The main thing that disappointed us was the fact that the TV failed to show some important channels. Channel 9 was not available and Vision TV was not included on the menu. One morning we were awakened very early by the fire alarm. These were the only complaints that we had.

    « good spot »

stayed just one night and the hotel was a little too far away from the falls and town centre to walk, bus service is available and a cab would not cost too much. it would be an uphill walk home; all sorts of eateries abound near hotel including usual culprits,\\there is an irish pub serving meals within the hotel which is fairly priced. my complaint would be no room safe.the room was clean quiet and comfortable,

« Great little friendly place! »

The hotel is situated just outside the main strip of Niagara. Its just 2 stories with an Irish bar attached. Our room was set within a courtyard which housed a swimming pool and play area. The courtyard was a little tired - could do with a little modernisation, but you could argue a little old fashion charm doesn't go a miss. Outside the room, there is a table and chairs, though strangely, there is only one chair provided outside most of the rooms. The room itself has 2 double beds in, a slightly odd layout but not in anyway detrimental to the practicality of our stay. The rooms are equipped with a hairdryer, iron and coffee machine. The bathroom was a little old fashioned but functioned just as well as any modern bathroom - the shower was nice and powerful. If I had one (very minor) complaint, it would be the towels were quite rough on my skin. The porter was extremely friendly and helpful, that guy works hard! All in all a pleasant stay and would revisit if in Niagara again.

« Excellent staff, genuinely caring »

My best friends had their wedding reception at the Best Western Cairn Croft banquet hall. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. Management went above expectations to make sure make sure everything was perfect for my friends!!! We did not stay the night, but the hotel looked very clean. It looks like my fiancé and I will be having our wedding reception here too now :) Thank you for taking care of my friends. We had such a great time.

    3
« Fair price for average hotel »

Comfortable enough. The room opened onto a poolside atrium, which made it echoing and noisy whilst children used it. It was a car ride to the falls, but that made it a much quieter area. The pub next door is the easiest choice of where to have breakfast. A fire alarm went off at about five in the morning, and went on for some time. There was no visible response to this, beyond a few hotel guests peering outside their doors. The air conditioning is very noisy and the wifi was poor to non-existent.

« Best Stay at Best Western »

This hotel surpassed our expectations. The manager's office is located centrally in the lobby and customer service excellence is guaranteed - Excellent! This hotel knows how to pleasantly surprise customers. The hotel is located conveniently near many of my favourite stores e.g. Value Village, McDonalds, Dollarama (+: and within a short drive of the falls.

« Centrally Located and at a very good Price »

If you are looking at a Niagara hotel in a central location and at reasonable rates then you need look no further than here!. The pool is good, and the onsite facilities such as the Irish Pub on are handy if you do not want to stray far after a busy day in the resort. It is within easy walking distance of the falls/ Nightlife but just far enough away for you to get a good nights sleep!.

I they also have great hot tubs as well as a play area right beside with games and a playland type activity with slides etc. The rooms are nice and the staff is amazing and very friendly! We will definitely keep coming to Cairn Croft! The Irish pub is so great! And has a great atmosphere!

    « Perfect stay »

We had a perfect stay here. The staff were friendly and the location is close enough to the Falls but not too close that you feel overwhelmed by tourists and the hustle and bustle. Having Doc Magilligans onsite was really nice. We had entertainment on Friday evening (without a cover) and great food. (I will make a separate review for them.)

    « Some good ... some meh »

Stayed here one night in June 2016. Got in late so I requested a late check out for 1pm not a problem. The rooms r clean but carpet looks like it needs to be changed. It's also a 30 min walk to the US falls side. The room also smelt like some strong weird cleaning agent. Couldn't put my finger on what it was but my allergies were messed up later ... couldn't smelt it afterwards. I didn't say nothing cause it was pretty late and I was too tired. Oh and the Wifi was also unreliable (intermittent). You also have to pay for over night parking ($13) I do believe is what I paid. Last but not least - this BW doesn't have a free hot breakfast like most BW do...Hmmmmm? isn't Best Western known for their breakfast's? Other than that ... their staff r wonderful ... very friendly and they help you out as much as they can. Good job guys.

    « Comfortable Family Weekend Get-Away »

Our family of four, two adults and two boys, ages 9 and 6 had a wonderful time staying for one night! We woke up and tried to get a second night but was unfortunately booked on the long weekend. Desk service was very friendly and helpful. The two complimentary Niagara Falls rulers just made our boys stay! I love little details like this one! Our room, in the tower, was very clean and seemed newly furnished. Linens were very soft and comfortable. The pool area is tons of fun for kids and had a great atmosphere. The partially sky-lit ceiling gives it a spacious feeling. We want to come back again soon, hopefully this summer to stay for at least 2-3 nights. Definitely recommend this hotel. Great location, away from the crowded downtown but main attractions easily accessible by car in less than 10 minutes.

« 2nd Time Back Court Yard Stay »

So I went back and this time stayed in a courtyard suite instead of the tower. This time my unit had a refrigerator which was great compared to my last stay. We stayed on the 2nd floor and was surprised to find out it had no elevator. So if mobility is an issue go for the first floor or stay on the tower. The fitness center was nice and updated with newer equipment but on the smaller side. It was not a problem as no one there which was great. The pool was awesome as usual. Can be a bit noisy come morning as pool opens up at 8am. Overall another great stay. Only issue this time was the towels were new in appearance but a little abrasive to the skin.

    2
« Over priced for poor service »

This hotel is over priced for what you get other then the beutiful pool area and if you don't mind getting woken up multiple times a night by drunken people yelling and doors slaming all night and when we came back to the hotel one day the house keeper had left our door wide open with no employees in sight with lots of expensive things out and for the 60 dollars you think your savings you would save that easily in parking if you get a hotel closer to the falls

    4
    « Excellent hot pools »

As part of a "ATI Great Eastern Cities tour" we stayed at this hotel and found it great for one night. Room was large and pool was hot. The attached pub had excellent food for dinner and breakfast. The only negative was the location was really to far to walk to the falls, due to snow conditions and coldness in early April 2016

    4
    « One Night Getaway »

Great place!.....Room and hotel itself very Clean and really has a lot to offer. On site restaurant/bar (Doc McGilligans) which is awesome. Great pool with lots of greenery around it. Walking distance or short cab ride to most of Falls attractions. Prices reasonable and a lot less than staying directly on the Falls itself.

    5
« Perfect location and great staff »

To be honest, I was leery about staying at a Best Western but took the chance on this one mostly based upon value. I was not disappointed. The staff was so helpful as this was my first time to Niagara and wanted to make sure that I experienced it the right way. Right at check-in the clerk suggested the best, most cost-effective ways to get around and get the most out of my stay. The tourist shuttle fit our needs perfectly and the stop was right out the front door. It took us right down to the falls. This hotel is a distance from the falls, but the transportation options available makes the lower cost well worth it. I was there in the fall of 2015 so I don't think that was a prime tourist time, but from the looks of the area, the strip where the hotel was on is itself a popular destination. The hotel has a restaurant that was fine, but found that it was just as good to go right across the street to the Wendy's there.

    « Excellent Stay »

On a Qantas holiday tour and some hotels have been fairly average, but not this one. Really great staff couldn't do enough for you. Great size rooms with room to move, clean & tidy. « The Hotel Near a Comic Book Store »

Liked the Pool with light and warmer water. Quiet area to relax. Friendly Staff Caring About Our Experience. Comfy King-Size Bed but if inconsiderate loud cars and motorcycles go by, keep your windows closed. Near Shopping at Regular Prices. Beside Bus Stop to the Falls.

« Great Location and Friendly Staff »

Have stayed here multiple times as we book a golf trip every year and end up in this location for our two nights stay. Check in could be faster, but they are pleasant and try their best at the counter. The rooms are standard. Nothing special but the location so close to everything in the Falls is perfect. It's just a quick $13 cab ride to the action. The restaurant/bar attached to the hotel was remodeled/named a few years back and continues to offer good food and a wide variety of just about anything you could want to drink.

    « Do not ignore Lundy's Lane »

The Lunday's Lane area of Niagara Falls has some enjoyable restaurants and well priced hotels. One of these is the Best Western Cairn Croft. I stayed here twice in the last month; once by the courtyard and once in the tower. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The Irish restaurant has some excellent food ... try the filled Irish pancakes (boxies?) for breakfast. You may not want much for lunch.

    5
    « Great hotel & amenities »

There on business, staff went above and beyond in making the stay comfortable. Located close to all the attractions and several restaurant and eateries nearby. But, you must try Doc MaGilligans, the Irish pub located within hotel premises, food is fabulous and so is the atmosphere.

    « Such a nice vacation! »

I can not say enough good about this hotel! From check-in to check-out they were wonderful. We brought two children with us, ages 5 & 2, and they were nothing but accommodating. We all sleep with fans, and we forgot to pack one, they brought us the housekeeping one. The room was clean, just as pictured on the website and beyond affordable. Yes they charge for parking, but so does everywhere else within the fall district. The attached pub had fantastic breakfast, service and prices. The pool area was clean, well maintained and so warm and tropical feeling. I unfortunately did not get a lot of names from many of the workers, but Steve was fantastic. Checked in with us daily and thanked us the last night of our stay. Gave the kids whistles and tattoos. I think he is some sort of upper management, and I have to say, I worked at a best western in NY and never ever did our manager change garbage. Steve was seen covering the pool, taking care of the fish, changing garbage. Anything that was needed he did. Checkout was a breeze and the price was just as stated online. This was our favorite part of vacation, just relaxing at the hotel. We will be back!

    « Disappointed »

Website suggested a country-style resort, but hotel is right on a busy downtown street. Staff cheerful, friendly and efficient. Long walk from room to amenities. Room layout dated. Lighting could be better. Bathroom extremely hazardous - not a grab bar in sight! Hotel had the nerve to charge for parking. Onsite restaurant very good. No newspapers available. Heating/cooling very good. Usual hotel mattress-slopes toward centre.

Would definitely stay here again. We received pleasant and courteous service, Doc Magilligans was great and the service was fantastic there as well. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Too bad it wasn't closer to the falls but the walk isn't too bad.

« Away from the 'touristy' area! »

I was working at our annual Tech/Education conference in Niagara Falls and had stayed closer to the falls in previous years. This time I wanted to be away from all that for my personal lodging so I could concentrate on getting caught up after the day, relax and enjoy a good meal without all the people and touristy bustle of the facilities downtown. This fit the bill perfectly with a nicely appointed, quiet room and a cool pub for dinner where I could work on my laptop while enjoying a locally brewed ale and some good food.

    « Cairn Croft - Hockey Tournament »

Great place to stay. We would definitely stay at this location again either as a family or as part of a hockey team. This trip was participating in a hockey tournament in Niagara Falls. The kids all enjoyed the amenities and the parent group enjoyed the courtyard to relax and socialize when the kids when to bed. 100 % satisfied.

    « Extra fees »

very good venue for families; staff very accommodating. Not pleased at all with the 'Tourism promotion fee'. For future reference will remember that have the option to refuse to pay this fee! Also note that the parking fee has an HST fee added to it.

    « Best hotel staff! »

Let me begin by stating the I booked the hotel through groupon for a family getaway and paid a little over 250 for three nights. The hotel was average and a little dated, but very clean and comfortable. My kids (3 and 6) loved the pool area and playground, they have requested we come back to this hotel. All the staff we encountered were happy and helpful, and I have never, even at Disney, had my room cleaned with such attention. The location was in a questionable part of town ( a lot of adult toy shops) but it was a stop on the wego bus line which was convenient.

« Great experience at this Hotel »

Having stayed the night before at a different hotel, which cost a bit more, we were very pleased with our experience at the Cairn Croft Hotel and Doc MacGilligans Irish Pub and Restaurant. Hotel room was just what we needed, and it was very quiet for a good night's rest. I can't say enough good things about the restaurant. We ate dinner there, and it was a great value, and excellent traditional Irish food. No matter where we stay, we'll definitely visit the pub again. But next time, it will be Wednesday, through Sunday, when they have live music!

    « Great place. »

We go here every Easter with 23 family members. We always have a great time. We reserve courtyard balcony rooms that overlook a tropical courtyard with a regular sized pool, 2 large hot tubs, and a McDonald's style playground area. (There are also 7or 8 children's arcade games.) It's clean, it smells like the warm countries we like to visit in February, and the kids have a great time. The courtyard is very warm and humid. We always bring summer clothes to wear. If that's not your thing, consider getting a room a bit further away from the pool. Courtyard rooms have a small fridge in them which helps with snacks for the kids. It's nice to put the kids to bed and then sit outside our door with other family members :)

    « Vacation/Birthday Getaway »

Had the best experience here. They made my Grandson's birthday very special. Everyone seemed like they truly cared. Everything here was awesome. Rooms were clean. Pool was perfect. Relaxing hot tub. Kids had a great time in the arcade and the play area.

    « Great family fun! »

Loved the easy access to the pool from our room, and the games are for the kids. Although hotel looks dated, the rooms are very clean and great showers! Noisy with the late pool and gazeb section but that it is to be expected when you are mere feet from the pool area with sliding doors. Very safe.

« Nice hotel at a luxury price. »

Not a bad hotel especially considering the crappy ones located in the area. We might even stay here again if it weren't for the price. All included, we paid $204 per night which most of our group felt was over priced.

    « Interesting Hotel »

After seeing this hotel offered in numerous travelzoo deals, I finally decided to give it a try. I have never stayed on Lundy's Lane while visiting Niagara Falls and began regretting my choice as we got closer to the hotel. I was actually a bit horrified by the appearance of the rooms that had parking lot access (classic motel style/park in front of room). I felt much better when I walked into the lobby and even more reassured when I was given a tower room (opposed to the motel style ones previously mentioned). The room was very standard, but was nice and clean. My kids loved the pool area, and so did I. Pool itself was your normal hotel pool, but the tropical courtyard was really nice. My kids also enjoyed the indoor play structure/park and mini arcade. It was really neat to see large families and groups of friends gathered by the pool watching their children and having a drink/breakfast/dinner (depending on time of day). There are plenty of tables and private gazebos for groups to gather. There is also a bar/snack bar that wasn't open. Anyone who has been to the old Wheels Inn in Chatham or traveled with sports teams in the 1980's/1990's can appreciate the nostalgic charm of this place. There are 2 hot tubs overlooking the pool. I would definitely go back with a group of friends and our children. There is an Irish pub attached to the restaurant that was nice. We ordered breakfast which was good and reasonably priced. The only negative in my opinion was the appearance of the rooms from the outside, which is disappointing, as these are the only ones that overlook the pool (my tower room did not); and the location. Definitely not a fancy place, but lots of fun for families.

wonderful hotel, customer service fantastic! very clean, pool and hot tubs clean and kept well, restaurant great service, my son only likes staying there he says they have the best pool.... love the fact there is coffee shops and mcdonalds next door and other restaurants walking distance, its away from the niagara fun life but not far of a drive 5-10mins

« Good, but could be better »

The staff at the hotel were excellent. I over all enjoyed my stay and would most likely stay again. However, I was not impressed that I had no access to a microwave or a fridge. I personally don't like the soap dispensers in the bathroom and generally speaking the soap, shampoo and conditioner did not work very well. Also, I had a man walk into my room without knocking at 9:30 am to clean my carpets. I am a female and was standing in my towel as I had just gotten out of the shower. Having this happen is a very unpleasant experience, complete violation of my privacy.

« Good but not great! »

The reason you come to this hotel is for the pool area and hot tubs. So much fun for a winter get away to kick back and have some drinks and relax like you are away. Other then that not sure it's worth $175 per night during the weekends. I stay at other hotels in the region and they offer dinners and breakfast plus other perks if you are paying $400 for a weekend get away. The rooms need updating, and my room stunk like smoke. The carpets are at least 20 years old. Staff are friendly, Steve the bellman was very helpful and made sure we got to our room and had everything we needed. No blow-dryer unless you ask for one, as well as soap and shampoo which I find really strange. Over all experience was fun. I personally think other hotels in the area have much more to offer for the price you pay for a Niagara get away.

    « Struck Gold »

When we chose to stay at the Best Western Cairn Croft for a second year in a row, we struck gold! We pride ourselves on trying out different places around the world. But once you've been in a car with a 10 and 14 year old for 13 hours, you want peace of mind with your accommodations. After a long drive from the States, we were welcomed with a speedy, friendly check-in. We opened our room door and was greeted with an immaculate, spacious room. We unloaded our snacks in the fridge, and we prepared the kids for the wonderful pool. They always enjoy making friends from literally all over the world at Cairn Croft. For all of my fellow foodies, PLEASE do yourself a favor and get your meals at Doc Magilligans. In particular, the Taste of Ireland entree is infused with delicious varying flavors that will blow your mind!!! #flavortown Thank you Cairn Croft for yet again allowing us to have a Wonderful Canadian Spring Break vacation. Even though the bulk of our activities were in Toronto this time, we had to return to you and we don't regret it!

« Expecting more for "Plus" »

The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, there was not enough disability parking and it was a long walk to the room.It would be ideal for young families due to the pool area. There was no free breakfast as received at other locations. The "plus" from my last Best Western stay was, I had to pay for parking, breakfast and a tourism fee.I will be rethinking my next bookings.

« Nice place to stay »

Very nice hotel. Rooms are big, clean and will maintained. Had a nice pool area and kid play area. Right on the red Wego bus line, which was the only Wego line that ran late at night. This allowed me to go to the Falls at night to see the light show. I assume in the touristy season the green Wego bus line runs later than 5 pm. The Irish pub attached to the hotel has great dinner choices. Breakfast quality is good, but I experienced very slow service. Lundy's Lane to too far away from the falls to walk, but the bus service makes for this.

« Good location, friendly staff »

We often venture back to our hometown of Niagara Falls to visit family. We choose the Cairn Croft because it is in the hub of the city for a good price compared to any hotels closer to the Falls. Also the added feature of the new restaurant and lounge Docs, makes it a perfect meeting place for us to hook up with old friends during our stay. Love this place for excellent value, convenient location and fun times.

« Good place for family with kids »

The hotel is good; clean friendly personal, good for family with kids. Nice swimming pool For me without car, it was a bit far from the areas I needed to visit. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, but for this location a car is needed

    « A nice family hotel »

This is a great place for families to stay. The pool area is beautiful. It's a short drive to the falls and other attractions, but only takes a few minutes. The only problem is parking. You have to pay to park everywhere down near the falls and attractions in that area. There is a bus, and it maybe a good idea to research how the bus system works before you make decision.

    « Book a tower room. »

This is a well run clean hotel a little out of the tourist district. The hotel offers a great indoor pool area for the kids. I found the room to be clean and comfy. Wish they would get rid of the soap and shampoo dispensers. Kinda tacky. Parking is $10. plus HST. I will stay here again.

    « a night away »

I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Niagara Falls. Sure its not right in the Falls area however it was easy to find and a two minute drive to the falls. No breakfast offered however there is a restaurant adjacent to the hotel..Doc Magilligan's and they are opened for breakfast ,lunch. and dinner .Nice faamily place. The pool area is quite nice and has an area where kids can play.

    « Love this place »

We brought our son here for a few nights and had a great stay. Much more comfortable than a more expensive hotel with him, he could walk around the court yard and we could walk him into the restaurant without going outside. He liked the arcade and slide area and we all got to swim (warm water which is good because he's still young.). Very family friendly, this is my top choice when staying at the falls.

    « Awesome time!! »

We did a little March break getaway to this hotel and we loved everything about it.We had adjoining rooms with my 2 daughters and children on second floor courtyard view. The whole pool area was amazing like a tropical getaway. The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. Beds were so comfortable and had the best sleep. It was so nice to step outside your patio door and have lushious trees and palm trees all around the pool area and sit on a little bistro table right outside your room and have coffee. Loved everything about this hotel. One of the best!!!!

    « What a lovely treat! »

My two girlfriends and I went on a girls weekend and had a great time! The room is standard with 2 queen beds and we got a cot which cost $10 per night. Along with that cost we had to pay $10 per night for parking which is cheaper than other hotels. The room does not have any fridge or microwave so we tried to keep things cool with ice but I would suggest you bring a cooler if you can to keep things cold. The pool area is lovely with sky lights, 2 hot tubs, lots of tables and chairs, some loungers as well as lush trees and bushes to make you feel like you are on a tropical vacation. They also have a change room close by with showers and a washroom. I would suggest if you are an adult with no kids that you take a tower room as the rooms around the pool are very noisy. I was surprised that the TV channels were very limited at this hotel as well as another Niagara Falls hotel I visited and there is no channel to show what is currently playing so you just have to flip through each channel. One thing I like to do after a long day walking around is to veg out to a good movie or show but there was absolutely nothing available besides so non English channels, one kids channel, sports and shopping. Very limited. The beds were comfortable (and the cot too!) and the place was clean although it did seem older. We had a No Frills, McDonalds, and Rexall right beside the hotel which was very handy. I didn't notice any noise even though we were on the street side which was great. The highlight for me was Doc Magilligan's Pub which was to the left of the lobby. Their chicken wing chowder is unbelievable!!! and we enjoyed several meals there as well as a live band on Sunday night. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend this hotel for a getaway.

« Good enjoyment of a long weekend getaway »

This hotel features very nice indoor swimming pool and a pool bar. It is a good choice for families with kids who would want to explore Niagara Falls and at the same time relax in a hotel with resort-like settings. The hotel features nice spacious rooms, Wi-fi is free, and internet access readily available. Parking is for a modest fee. There is an option to charge electric vehicle too. For Irish beer lovers, there is a Doc Magilligan's Pub right at the doorstep of the hotel. There is lots of shopping nearby: No Frills for groceries, Rexall PharmaPlus, RBC etc.

    « Good family hotel »

Definitely a good pick when staying with a family. Decent size pool and good play areas. Courtyard rooms are convenient to the pool, however much louder than other areas of the hotel, not recommended if you go to bed early or like to sleep in. We stayed over March Break and felt the hotel had good value and was enjoyable for my kids. Comfortable beds

« Worst Hotel of our 14 day tour »

I rarely give a rating less than 4, but I could not honestly rate this Hotel above a 2. Being an Aussie, I'm used to fresh air, and the fact that this was an atrium hotel with an overwhelming chlorine taste and smell throughout from the central pool area, was not impressive. This permeated the room and mixed with the musty smell therein. The room was small, dark and old. The noise from loud patrons in the pool area kept us awake until curfew at 10pm. I asked for an electric kettle so that I could make a cup of tea, but was told that patrons only steal them, so they didn't supply them any more. Doesn't say much about their clientele! I would certainly find a different hotel if I were to visit the area again.

    « Great Family Spot »

We have been coming to this hotel for years, Our children have grown up coming here. The centre courtyard is the perfect play/meeting spot as we sometime come with other families. It is resonably priced and we often have a meal at the hotel and play games and have snacks in the courtyard. We do stay at other hotels but for a great value and family fun you cant get much better. The staff is always helpful and friendly. Thanks for the great times and we look forward to many more.

We stayed for two nights. They have really nice rooms and there lobby is beautiful. They have an indoor pool with arcade games for kids and kids alike. They serve free breakfast. The food is pretty good. The hotel maids kept the room neat. We enjoyed our stay and will most likely be coming back.

« Courtyard room on the pool »

We loved the room on the courtyard and used the pool, hot tub and patio a lot. It was lovely to sit on the patio in the morning getting ready for the day and wonderfully refreshing after a day of sightseeing. A bit noisy but to be expected as there were a lot of children. Take note that parking is extra.

    « Business Winter Paradise »

Location! Location ! Location ! I am a business traveler and try to keep my room rate to less than $ 100 while still enjoying a few amenities. I had been using Holiday Inn Express and Best Western as a bit of a change from Choice Hotels. This on Lundy's Lane was a nice surprise. Niagara Falls - in the off season - is competitive and I had a room on the interior pool for under my goal of $ 100. Now to be fair I asked about summer rates and they COULD be as high as $ 200 - not my problem. Hotel clean - room clean - staff WANTS your business and it shows. Best Western is up there in price but the attention to details makes them great and this hotel was no exception.

What an amazing place and stay!!! We made a weekend trip last minute just to say we went somewhere because our Caribbean vacation was canceled due to weather conditions. We live very close and I just wanted my young son to be able to swim. Naomi found me a fantastic room!! The feel of the pool allowed me to feel as if I was on a warm holiday, even though it was snowing outside! The staff it great, the food at the hotel restaurant is delicious and the place is well kept. Planning my next trip now!!

    « Get a Courtyard Room »

Good place if you have kids, just make sure there are no hockey tournaments when you stay lol, anyways it's a nice room, especially if you can get a "courtyard" room, very cool to open your patio door and the pool, hotubs, bar and arcade are right there, you can pretty much stay in your bathing suit the entire time you are there if you get one of these room, we have even stayed in an 2nd floor room in the courtyard, a bit cheaper, and you are still near all the things I've mentioned> But remember you are not really within walking distance to the falls, probably a good 35-40 min walk if you did, maybe a bit longer, but you do have a min fridge in your room and there is a No Frills next door for snacks, nice place, we always like it here.

« Great and comfortable stay »

We stayed here for two nights in August 2015 after driving from NYC. We found the place no trouble, and were given the key to our room by friendly, helpful and efficient staff. When we showed ourselves to our room there was someone's luggage already in it which... was a bit odd, but when I went back to the concierge desk they couldn't have been more apologetic (there was a mix up with a large group booking and rooms had been changed). It wasn't a problem at all, but the staff insisted on giving us some breakfast vouchers by way of apology! Very welcome but unnecessary. The guy behind the counter also very kindly leant me some tools so I could perform some minor repairs to our hire-car which had been slightly damaged in NYC. The room itself was large, quiet, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We ate that night in the next-door irish pub which gave good value, hearty meals. And again, breakfast next morning in the pub's breakfast was filling and very reasonably priced (even if we had't have had free vouchers!). From there we spent a whole, unforgettable day admiring the Falls (from both sides) which are about a 30 minute walk away. We wish we could have stayed longer at the Cairn Croft as this was the nicest, friendliest hotel on our road trip. Thank you!

« We love this place!! »

If you are looking for a very nice place to stay and relax and/or to enjoy Niagara Falls for a very reasonable price, this is your hotel!! Everything is so comfortable and convenient and believe it or not FUN!!! The newly renovated Irish pub is really great!! There are live bands every weekend and we haven't seen a bad one. The pool and courtyard is terrific!! I've stayed here for years and wiill continue to do so.

    « No security »

My husband and I visited once again last weekend. ...for the last time. Adult hooligans and their offspring who have no consideration for other guests, both in the courtyard (pool and hot tub both had garbage, beer bottles, etc around them, as well as the courtyard being left a mess), and the very young children running and screaming down the halls in the uber early hours of the morning.....and nothing was done about it. Disappointed to say the least, but we've seen this hotel (and no the attached pub) rapidly decline in the last 12-18 months, so we should have known better.

« No place but this place! »

I have been going to this hotel for the last 14 years. I started going when my kids were young and I go at least 3 times a year . I like this hotel because it offers so much for the family or just a quick quiet getaway. With the two hot tubs and indoor swimming pool - your stay will be unforgettable. Just outside the hotel you have a No Frill to pick up snacks, a drug store a couple minutes walk and one of my most favourate discount stores all next to the hotel. For food, you have Pizza hut, Mc Donalds , Red Lobster and even 4 different pizza/ Sub places a short walk away. This hotel is just a 10 min. drive to the falls and the sites around the hotel are endless. The best rooms are in the court yard , but if you want I bit of quiet time just order a drink from the court yard bar and stay in the tower or the coach house. Just give them a call and you'll have a great time. Pat

    « Pleasantly surprised »

Well we usually stay at a Best Western. When we come to the Falls we also got a deal with other brands because of a Fallsview. Moving forward that will change. This Best Western was clean, nicely decorated, courtyard pool and restaurant attached which also offers gluten free food. I heard that they make the best chocolate peanut butter cream pie. My son is staying here for his Honeymoon in May and we intend on returning in June for our 35th wedding anniversary. Only 5-8 minutes from the Falls. Perfect........

    « Good experience »

We were very pleased with our room and free wifi and reasonable $10 parking fee. I hate when resorts stick you with insane parking fees and resort fees!!! The location was good for us as well. Close to the U.S. Border. They matched the online promotion because I was having problems booking online. The room was very clean and it had a good size closet which I always appreciate. The mattresses were also comfortable. The girls at the front desk were pleasant and helpful. No complaints here. We would probably stay there again.

    « Nice Courtyard »

We stayed at the Best Western for the indoor courtyard/pool area. My children loved playing on the playground and swimming in above average size pool. The hot tubs were an added bonus. The rooms are average in style and size. But what really makes this hotel stand above similar level hotels in the area are the rooms in the courtyard. They have a nice table outside each room where you can sit and relax after a long day at the falls. We even played games and watched other families have dinner outside their room. The one thing that was a surprise is each room in the courtyard has an outside door enterance. I had no issues with this but when there is inclimate weather it is hard not to track snow/mud into the room as the carpet starts right at the door. Overall it was a nice place to stay for a reasonable rate with an excellent courtyard for families.

    5
    « Amazing Hotel, Staff & Restaurant »

Definitely our a new favourite place in Niagara Falls. The courtyard is great for the kids, they love it. There are plenty of tables / chairs for family to gather around. There is a convenient lounge close by if you want a Pina Colada or some popcorn for the kids. The Irish restaurant beside has some of the best food I have had in Niagara Falls. Finding good food in the falls has always been an issue and this place totally changed my perspective. Never tried it before as I didn't think of a Pub as a place to go and eat - I was sadly mistaken. This is not your average pub. This is clearly a $2million dollar restaurant / pub with imported decor and beautiful bar that must be imported from Ireland. The rooms are clean and tidy. If you are older and are not good with stairs you may want to try and reserve a ground floor room as there is one flight to climb on the 2nd level if you plan on being within the courtyard.

« Very nice stay! Clean and comforting »

We booked the hotel just before Valentine's day on Groupon. I have called the hotel and got upgrade for extra $25/day to a King size bed/Jacuzzi Executive Suit, which is excellent price! We stayed two nights, the room was impeccably clean, with refrigerator and microwave with complimentary Caffè and Tea. The Jacuzzi situated within the bathroom. Extra blanket for cold nights was available as well. It is a quiet sizeable room, for two people it's perfect! Downstairs was the poolside area; beautifully made gazebo and play park for kids, swimming pool and two hot tubs to relax. No complimentary breakfast, however the Hotel has an authentic Irish Pub: Doc Magillighan where hunger can be extinguished at any time of the day. Excellent food, nice spot for a night out as well. The staff at the desk was pleasant and very helpful. They handled the crowd with ease, professionalism and with excellent customer service skills! Thanks for all the help! All together we were very pleased with our choice to stay at this Best Western this time... and surely, we will be back!

    « Great Place »

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, staff were friendly and very attentive to our needs. The pool and hot tubs were great and I think the rooms pool side were awesome even though I did not stay in them. We had food from the pub attached to the hotel and it was great. My only negative was there were no safes in the room nor did the have refrigerators. Other than that all was great. It's also in a prime location on lundy's lane just outside of the busiest area but still very close.

    5
    « It's all right here! »

« Great location and a beautiful view! »

When visiting Niagara Falls this past December with my boyfriend, we decided to use a groupon deal and stay at the Best Western Plus Cairn Croft Hotel. You have to pay about $10 a night for parking, and there is no breakfast served for guests. This place was very lovely but also very vacant. I did not see any other travelers staying within the hotel, besides the few that were in and out of the connected Irish Pub. The Pub was AMAZING. Great staff, and great prices. Most attractions around this are tourist priced so it was a nice feeling that we could come back to our hotel and drink for a normal price. Plus...we could just walk upstairs to our room instead of driving around. The hotel was very clean, although there was a throw blanket that was found in the closet that smelled terrible. Otherwise, the hotel appeared very clean. The pictures fit true to the view, there is a large garden area/bar/pool in the back and a very "summery" feel to the hotel. We did not use the pool so this did not affect us and I cannot comment on the cleanliness, although there was a sign to shower before getting in. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone! Wonderful experience!

    « Don't overlook this hotel »

We just checked out today after staying here for two nights. We wanted to get away for some R&R, and this property delivered. The Courtyard area was fantastic and felt like you could be 1000 miles away. The hotel is very clean. We've stayed at much more expensive hotels (Delta, Marriott, Sheraton) and this hotel was immaculate and well kept. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Nice that it is a family run hotel. We ate two nights in a row at Doc Magilligan's (the pub attached to the hotel) and the food and atmosphere was excellent. We'll be back for sure. A well run hotel with staff who care.

    « A treasure »

When travelling to Niagara Falls we usually stay at a hotel right by the falls, but decided to stay at the Cairn Croft this time mainly because of the great deal being offered. And are we ever glad we did. The staff were exceptional, very helpful, friendly and always with a nice word and a smile on their face. Although we didn't use the pool, we thought the tropical feel was nice and were sorry we left our suits at home. The room was very nice and the bed was more comfortable that usually found in hotels and the pillows as well. Attached to the hotel is Magilligan's Irish Pub. The food and staff there were exceptional as well. Deifintely will visit the Cairn Croft again.

    « Great family place! »

We have been going there for years... taking our young son and my husband and I. Great pool. Always stay on second floor (little quieter) with pool view out front. Clean rooms. Weather is always perfect! (take shorts, flip flops even in winter months). We enjoy the restaurant and have stayed for entertainment. You can take our own cereal, drinks and snacks and keep in room, or eat on our "patio". All three of us always enjoy our stay, the pool and pretending for a bit that we have gone "south!"

    « Nicest courtyard/pool in the city...Superb central location »

The Best Western Carin Croft hotel is located right in the middle of the city of Niagara Falls Ontario on the busiest street in the city, Lundy's Lane. The hotel does not have a view of the falls although it is right on the main bus lines that can bring you there in minutes and it is just about a 30 minute walk from the Falls or a few minutes drive. Trust me, it is more economical to take the "we go" bus than it is to drive and park your vehicle closer to the Falls attraction itself. Conveniently located near many many fast food restaurants and some souvenir tourist places and not far from the Factory Outlet Mall, this hotel is worth your while. I think that it's best feature is the pool area. So many hotels have an indoor pool... but almost all of them are small and enclosed places that aren't very exciting. This pool is surrounded with a beautiful indoor courtyard and if you visit during the winter months especially - it feels like a little tropical getaway. Aside from the pool, there are two hot tubs and a children's play area and arcade. The pool is just down the hallway from the fitness center as well. One of the best rooms in the hotel - in my opinion - is A second floor courtyard facing room. Granted, it is accessible only buy a small flight of stairs so if mobility is a problem you would be better off on the ground floor. For her birthday, I brought a good friend of mine to the hotel for a girls night out. We loved the view from the room which was of the entire indoor courtyard. Lots of trees and ferns and live plants. Nice and warm, and surprisingly - the air was not stifling with chlorine as so many pool areas are. It was very enjoyable. We really enjoyed the balcony that was outside of our room because we could pull up a small chair and table set and just sit outside and talk or eat or enjoy a coffee and just relax. Our room was fine as well with two very very comfortable queen beds. The room was clean and more than functional for us. We were happy that it not only had a coffee maker but also a small fridge. That is always appreciated. Parking for hotel guests is $10 a night - which is not a bad price, but I still do think it's not nice to charge for parking when you are staying at the hotel - and we found all of the staff... & I mean everybody! From the front desk, to customer service on the phone when I was booking, to people who are cleaning the pool and cleaning the rooms, every single person who worked there was friendly and said hello to us. Everything was very clean and very welcoming and very nice. One of the two hot tubs wasn't working perfectly - the Jacuzzi jets did not function but it was still nice and warm - and that was the only thing that I can say was not working perfectly. I would definitely come back again and I would love to stay in the same room and enjoy this experience all over again.

    « Fabulous Winter Get-Away »

This Hotel is a bargain retreat in the midst of the winter. The pool area has a relaxing, tropical feel. There are palm trees all around the inside pool area. A lovely gazebo is located at one end of the pool. It is lit up in the evening, so it is a great place to play cards or a game or sit and talk. If you are in need of a little Rest and Relaxation it is a great choice in Niagara Falls. It is especially nice to stay in a room with direct entrance to the pool area. There are patio tables outside those rooms where you can relax and enjoy the pool view. The pool isn't too deep, so it is a great place to take children. I liked the room we had on the main level. We were able to park right outside our room and had direct entrance to our room from the outside, but we also had direct entrance to the inside courtyard/pool area. The rooms aren't fancy, but they have the basic amenities. The hotel is located close to many eateries and is even beside a grocery store. It is a great place to take a family!

    « Awesome hotel »

Truly one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. All of the staff were so nice and the tropical courtyard was so nice. We had a room on the second floor in the courtyard and the room was very nice with comfortable beds and an awesome view of the pool area. We've decided to make coming to this hotel a yearly tradition. Also, the attached bar Doc Magilligans was excellent and had good live bands every night. Decent priced food and drinks as well. Definitely would recommend going to the bar on Friday and Saturday nights to listen to the music.

« Best Western Cairn Croft Niagara Falls »

Fantastic court yard with a heated pool and two hot tubs. (one was working during our stay). The room itself was ok. The exception was the beds which were very hard and uncomfortable. Not a very good sleep... which is primarily why you have a room. :/

    « Adjoining Rooms »

This was our third visit to this hotel. We stayed here previously for a honeymoon this time we were back with our three children (all teenagers) as such we asked for two rooms and we were very happy that we were able to be accommodated in adjoining rooms (4 queen beds). The rooms were perfectly clean and the temperature control worked well. The hotel staff were nice, the pool area (busy) clean and well light. My husband and I soaked in the hot tub and enjoyed some conversation with another couple staying however the hot tub was not hot, it was barely even warm. A complaint I had this visit is that there was a live band playing in the pub downstairs but the band was LOUD; we were on the 4th floor we could hear the music as well as the loud bass bombing throughout the hotel. I called down asking when the band was expected to be finished as we were trying to sleep and told that they would be playing until 2 AM and that they staff could do nothing to lower the noise level. This I found unacceptable as they are entertaining only a small number of the guests and unfair to the majority of guests whom may be having difficulty sleeping with this racket. As stated in my previous review this is a poor location for falls accessibility, however that is not the hotel's fault. It is close to the outlet stores and the Lundy's Lane historical attractions (graveyard/battlefield and museum). The complimentary computers to use near the pool are slow.

« Friendly staff from start to finish »

Amazing staff and friendly service. Staff made the experience wonderful from start to finish. The room was spotless. Restaurant was great. Pool area was beautiful and very relaxing. Only quick drive to everything to see. Will definitely be back!!!!

    « Realxing Enjoyable Stay »

Our stay here was very enjoyable and relaxing. The room was very clean and comfortable. The pool area was great along with the included hot tub. The pub on site, Doc Magilligans had great food and atmosphere. The entertainment was excellent as well. The manager as well as the staff were very accommodating as well. I would highly recommend staying here. We have been here 3 times and will be going back.

    « Winter Oasis »

We have been to Niagara Falls a fair amount. For our recent stay, we wanted a place to relax and get in out of the cold. The BW Cairn Croft completely filled the need. We hadn't stayed here before and had a few questions prior to booking. I called and talked to Innis who was extremely pleasant and addressed all matters. Three things make the Cairn Croft an exceptional location: Reception staff, the Courtyard and Doc Magilligans (separately reviewed). On arrival, we were warmly greeted by Paul who checked us in both quickly and courteously. All Reception Staff we chatted with during our stay were cheerful and happy. The Courtyard was the oasis for our stay after having driven through heavy snow squalls. It was greatly appreciated that the area was closed down at night and things were quiet for sleeping. On one evening, we had a pleasant conversation with Paul who stopped by while making a round of the premises. Our room, which was adjacent to the Courtyard was well maintained, but showing some evidence of needing some TLC. We also prefer soap bars rather than the liquid, but this was minor. On the first night, we had quite a cold draft coming in through the outside door. Fortunately, there were enough bath towels that we could use one to block the breeze. We will be back.

We enjoyed the hotel very much - The service is excellent - They had great live music on two nights in there bar - The bar/restaurant is an authentic Irish pub - very clean and the food was great - had an exercise room which came in handy

« Great hotel with large and clean rooms. The pool is great and two hot tubs! »

This place has very clean rooms and lots of space as well. The beds were comfortable and we heard no noise except for some in the hallway. The receptionist was very nice and helpful as well. Nice hot tubs we found very relaxing. Our room had a spotlight shinning right into it and the blinds wouldn't close all the way but overall great experience. Great breakfast for 8$ in the pub below. Worth a visit.

    « Run Down...getting worse »

I wouldn't recommend this hotel anymore. Hallways upon entry filthy dirty. Elevators are small and long waits. Noisy. Parking is difficult. You can't leave in the afternoon because when you come back you won't get a parking spot. Beds are lumpy. Matresses need to be replaced. I would suggest you pay a bit more and stay somewhere nicer.

Set away from the hustle of the busy tourist areas, Best Western Cairn Croft is a nice hotel/motel perfect for families with small children. The pool area is clean. The water was nice and warm. The arcade is perfect for those young gamers. The rooms are small but clean. A nice place for a quick trip for a young family.

« Great Hotel and clean room! »

I was very impressed with the Best Western "Cairn Croft" hotel overall. I travel on business and prefer to stay in Best Western's when I can. So I decided to give this hotel a chance rather than stay in the other hotels closer to Niagara Falls. I was impressed with how clean the hotel was and the cleanliness of my room. The housekeeping team were amazing. Good job to all of you! My only small complaint was that a button on the dryer was broken which forced me to have to use a "less heat" option. But otherwise I would definitely stay at this hotel again!!

« Great Stay with the Family »

Stayed there this weekend for my sons bday. The hotel was very clean and the staff super friendly and courteous. The pool area and general maintenance of the grounds was very well kept. I would definitely recommend eating at the Irish pub there. The food was good and reasonably priced...lots of entertainment and a live band....the kids enjoyed it. The pool area is open til 10 so the kids (10 & 8) were able to enjoy some swimming in the evening and mom and dad relaxed with some wine :)....all and all a great place, I will definitely go back.

    « New Years weekend »

Nice room in the tower, clean and comfy, although a frige would have been nice. The pool and courtyard area was beautiful but very loud, lots and lots of kids. I really wish there would have been "quiet" adult pool hours! We didn't get to use the pool because of it and getting joined by 5, 8-12 year old when relaxing in the hotub is uncomfortsble to say the least. If there were adult hour, I'd definetly go back! The Irish pub attached was Awesome and completely made our stay worth it!

« Good Value for our Winter Getaway !!! »

We were quite pleased with the facilities. The reception, check-in and check-out were very quick and efficient. We took advantage of their Winter Escape Package by booking directly with the hotel. This package didn't appear on any of the online booking sites so you might be better calling the hotel. The package included the room, breakfast for 2 for both days and a $50 dinner voucher at the attached restaurant. We asked for and received a "tower" room which didn't give us a view of the indoor pool. Frankly I think this was a good decision as the odor of chlorine was noticeable in the hotel lobby, but not at all in the tower. We ended up with the room connected to the elevators, but we absolutely never heard them at all which is a good thing. The attached restaurant is quite nice. The breakfasts come complete with several choices available and they include your beverage as well. The dinner we

« Good time with kids »

We had a good time at Cairn Croft Best Western. Having been there 3 previous times, we decided to stay in building part of hotel with joining rooms as there were 3 couples. We ended up not realizing that building rooms didn't have fridge and microwave in those rooms.. Not the end of the world as a small cooler and ice and going downstairs to use microwave solved any issues with making kids cereal. Pool and garden area is always fun especially during winter times so kids had a blast and overall trip was fun. Restaurant was not ideal as we had breakfast there and waited almost 1-1/2 hours to eat while seated.. Other then that, it was nice.

« Nice stay and a hop, skip and a jump from the the Falls »

A great alternative to staying right in the core of the Falls. We stayed in the tower section of the Hotel on the top floor (5th FL). The Hotel and King room was very nicely updated, clean and quiet. I would recommend the Tower section to lodge as there is an older motel style section to the premise as well. The bed was extremely comfortable and the Hotel within minutes of a variety of eateries and attractions. There is an Irish Pub on site which we did not take advantage of. There is a $10 parking fee per night. We were a 7min drive from Clifton Hill, Niagara Falls Parkway and FallsView Casino. Overall an excellent experience and would recommend and book this Hotel again in the future.....

« Winter Escape Package - Good value »

Our Winter Escape package included breakfast for two and a $25 dining voucher. Good location, pleasant restaurant, friendly stuff, free parking on site. Shuttle to the Falls right in front of the building. We did not use the pool/hot tub. A bit too strong of a smell of chlorine. We consider returning.

    « Noisy pool area »

We got this hotel stay as a gift. The pool area is beautifully landscaped with tropical foliage. We had a courtyard room with the door of our room right off of the courtyard area. We could hear EVERYTHING going on in the courtyard ALL NIGHT LONG. Noise constantly..

« Very Clean and Friendly »

My boyfriend and I spent two nights here this past weekend. We were going to be late checking in and called to let them know. Lillian, the woman at the front desk was very nice! The next day the Maid service called our room to ask if we required room service. Even though we said no, she still triple confirmed only for our comfort. Food in the pub was great and your coffee is always topped up without asking :)

« Favorite hotel in Niagara Falls »

This was our second stay at the Cairn Croft at Christmas and will be our only stay from now on. From the moment we checked in to check out the staff at the front desk are amazing. So nice to see employees who actually care about their guests, I give credit to management for this too. I am originally from Niagara and have stayed at a handful of hotels on the Lane, Best Western is the best overall for quality and price. My husband and I enjoy Doc Mulligans, a good meeting place for our friends for a holiday get together. The bartenders and staff were very good to us, we enjoyed watching the US/Canada Jr hockey game on the big screen. Our room was on the 5th floor it was so quiet we thought we were the only ones there..lol There is a courtyard with an indoor pool and if my now adult kids were still young those rooms would be perfect. Our room was spotless and only thing missing was body lotion, but did like the shower conditioner/shampoo soap dispensers. Thank you to everyone for a wonderful 4 nights!!!

    « Pampered »

After a hectic holiday season we decide to stay at the Best Western for a well deserved Christmas break. We had booked the queen / fireplace room which also included a mini fridge and microwave, something not mentioned but greatly appreciated. The room is a good size, both the bed and love seat very comfortable. Besides the central location of this hotel the heated pool brings us back time and time again.

    « Last minute getaway »

At the last minute I decided to book a little getaway 2 days before Christmas. We chose the Cairn Croft because it looked nice with the indoor pool and good location on Lundy's Lane. Everything was great! Nice warm pool (kids loved it!) Very friendly staff. The pub was a bonus for daddy! :-) We will definitely be back for another winter weekend!thanks again, Patrick Coleman, Syracuse, NY

    « Top reccomendation! »

We treated some friends to a night in the Falls. It was their first night away alone without kids in five years. I booked through Best Western Rewards (dead easy), and called the hotel to get a feel for the rooms. Staff were great! "Lilian" ensured we got quiet rooms away from the pool. Check in was a breezer. All the staff were attentive and friendly and helpful. I got my Diamond Member upgrades and the rooms were fantastic and clean. Would definitely book again!

« Good hotel for good price »

I stayed at this hotel with 2 of my friends on December 19, 2015. We travelled from Sarnia to celebrate my friend's birthday. We arrived early and were offered a room in the courtyard. We accepted the room because we were eager to check in. However, what the lady failed to tell us was that the courtyard is right in the centre of the pool and the play equipment for the children. The lady was super friendly, we just wish she had notified us of this, especially when we told her what our plans for the night were. We had to listen to children screaming until 9 at night, at it started up again around 8 in the morning. The hotel staff was wonderful, the rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. This hotel is more geared for families, in my opinion. If you're looking for something with less children, look into a different hotel. I will stay there again, only it would be with my husband and 4 children. I won't book for a girls night out again.

« Management no respect for hotel guests »

We arrived at this hotel on a Friday to find out that the floor we wanted on was not available , No big deal we got over it , but it was booked in advance . So to accommodate us they stuck us around back with a couple of young loud hockey teams and parents . The kids were playing floor hockey in the hallway and it was tough to get through to our room . No help from the parents . Did I mention we are seniors one with a walker . The layout of the hotel is horrible from were are room was to the front desk . I proceeded to venture out to the front desk . When I got to the front desk to discuss our problem with the hockey kids and parents , the reply was . Sir we have a lot of hockey families here and we can't do anything about it . Thanks for all the help .. I must say though if it wasn't for Doc Magilligans Irish Pub the Worst Western Plus would be a big flop .To the front desk attendants your customer service was pathetic .Some day you will get the same crappy service and see how you feel .I will forward the dates to your management team . Cheers

My wife (2 kids,7 & 9) and I stayed here on Saturday the 12th.This was our first time to this hotel. We do an annual stay over at the falls, but had always stayed at one of the high rise hotels by the falls. This hotel is a short drive to the falls. We went and viewed the Christmas lights by the falls.Well worth it.The hotel is near lots of restaurants and some shops. We booked the winter package which is a good deal,it includes parking(which otherwise is $10.extra) free breakfast and $25 credit for food and/or drink at the attached Irish pub.Doc Magilligan`s pub which is part of the hotel has great food for dinner and breakfast. The service was very prompt and courteous. The pub had a band play that evening also which was nice.We have no complaint`s about our stay. The courtyard with pool was great for the kids and we enjoyed the hot tub.Nice and relaxing atmosphere with the tree surrounding. The room was on the ground floor east wing.No chlorine smell there and 30 second walk to pool.It was very clean and a reasonable size. Lots of parking out back which is very close to our room.Convenient to have your car there, not like the high rise hotels where you have to wait for someone to get your car.My kids prefer this hotel over the other one.I would recommend this hotel, and we will return again,Very enjoyable stay.Thank you to all the staff for making us feel very welcome there.(special thanks to Jane who took our phone reservation and to Amber at reception..

    « Comfortable, Convenient, Friendly »

This was a great overnight stay. I slept very well and enjoyed the hotel's amenities. This location has a very welcoming environment and crew. The check-in process was speedy and easy. There was a parking fee that caught me off guard though when I arrived. The room had modern amenities such as a flatscreen TV, very clean bathroom with plenty of towels, and a coffee maker. The bed was comfortable. I fell asleep within minutes. I also tried out the restaurant next door for breakfast and that was very delicious. This location isn't too far from the falls. Just about 5 minutes of a drive. The wi-fi was in and out, but worked very well.

« We are SO going back ! »

It was a trip my kids will always remember. My 7 year old son woke up and with his eyes hardly open he was asking about swimming:) The pool is the perfect depth. The shallow end is 3 foot and deep end is 4. He's not a strong swimmer so he was comfortable on his own and was pretty proud of his sweet front flips and cannon balls into the pool :) The temperature was perrrrfect! Nice and relaxing atmosphere, where we could have some cool canned beverages by the pool....we didn't get to stay long because there was so much to do in the city itself, but it was nice to kill off the last of their energy before bed and the best way to end our trip! Only dissapointment is that we were too busy having fun that we didn't take any pictures :)

« Oh, Canada and specifically this BW, HOW DELIGHTFUL YOU ARE! »

What a remarkable stay! Popped over for a peek at the falls and found this paradise! Perfect for my young children with the pool hot tub and gaming area. This property deserves all the accolades because they are doing everything right! The bar has been set and it is sky high!!!

    « Peaceful and relaxing »

While a little way away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Niagara Falls, this hotel is clean and has an excellent Irish pub attached to it. I found the staff caring and friendly and as a business traveller so much more enjoyable than the bigger chains in the area, where you are nothing more than a number. I would recommend it highly

    « Excellent short stay »

Hotel is very clean , quiet and accessible. Rooms are large and up to date. Chairs need to be replaced as they were old and saggy. The pop machine ( only one in the building ) was out of bottled water and hadn't been replaced before We left. The front desk personnel were quite pleasant and helpful. The toilets in the rooms should be replaced with low flow models and the one we had , had a periodic water run. Also too low , feels like you're going to sit on the floor. The shower needed a new nozzle or a good CLR cleaning as it had a high whining sound when in use. Mentioned this to the desk on checkout. I thought the extra Charge of 10 dollars for parking was excessive and was not mentioned on the website when placing the reservation. Overall pretty nice place for an overnight stay.

« Excellent Place for Families »

We've been staying at BWCC for two years now, as a stop off between family in Ontario & Michigan. Wonderful staff, delivers food from restaurant to rooms. Rooms with courtyard of pool area are great for young families, beware the sliding glass doors are not soundproof so you can hear pool noises. In general the hotel quiets down after 10pm when the pool/spas close. The courtyard rooms are looking a little tired, especially the bathrooms. Shower heads are great with 3 types of choices. They have really improved internet services in all rooms. And the location on Lundy Lane is close to The Falls and highways while being off the heavy tourist crowd area. The restaurant and bar are awesome if you like Irish Pub food - has a children's menu which is a little pricey. Close to grocery and fast food places to help out.

« Friendly staff, good stay great value. »

We stayed on Halloween so that we could dress up for Halloween, enjoy the live band at the pub and do a lot of dancing with the convenience of just going upstairs when the night was over. We accomplished this all, including a fantastic dinner at Doc Magilligan's Pub. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We used the pool and hot tub. No complaints! The value was excellent with the cost of the room including a full breakfast the next morning. We will come back.

    4
« Beautiful Atrium, Accommodations OK »

I'll start off with the positives: - The atrium is beautiful and the pool area was clean and comfortable. Some members of our family made use of the hot tub and pool while others just relaxed and read. It was nice to have this downtime after a long day of touring. We just wished it was open a bit longer. - The hotel is located close to a WayGo station and they sell passes to make getting around easy - The staff were very friendly and accommodating - The queen beds were comfortable and clean The negatives: - The hotel room smelt, but this is to be expected with the pool just outside. We sprayed some perfume that helped a bit and just got used to the smell. The smell was not bad enough to induce a headache, however the initial impression was skewed because of this. - The room setup is odd, the sink and mirror are outside the bathroom, with the toilet and bathtub being in one room. I always feel as though the doors are not clean when this is the set up. - The beds did seem close to the wall, but nothing unmanageable. Overall, if you don't mind taking public transit I would suggest staying here. The price is alright and it was definitely relaxing.

    « I love this place!! »

I have been staying here for many years. I have stayed at other places in Niagara Falls and the Cairn Croft is my favourite for value and comfort by far. The tropically set pool area is terrific. The pool water is clean and quite warm and the two hot tubs are even warmer!! The restaurant/lounge /bar area has been redone in the last two years into an Irish pub and it is fantastic!! I have stayed here over the years for both business and pleasure and will gladly continue to do so. The staff are very accommodating and efficient and above all very friendly and helpful. Bring your family or just the two of you and give it a go, you won't regret it!!

    « Visit on Nov 7 2015 »

We stayed with another couple on Saturday November 7th in the courtyard. We found the hotel to be nice although a little pricey for what you get. The pub out front was good. We were a little disappointed in the fact that only one hot tub had working Jets and that the courtyard bar was not open. (Reason we ended up at the pub) We also did not realize that there was a kids hockey tournament going on so we were over run by children with no supervision. While sitting in hot tub the kids were jumping in and out of the other hot tub and throwing a ball from up in the hot tub to other kids in pool. Not very relaxing when you have to watch for flying objects and made the pool unusable. Overall would return but would ask if there was any tournaments in town.

    4
    « Hockey Tournament Stay »

Although this location is not directly on the falls, we found it to be convenient to everything. Our stay was with a team of 8 year old hockey players and their families and the staff was very accommodating (tolerant?) all things considered. The rooms were clean and the pool area was fun for the kids. The decor is a little drab but not that big of a deal and the beds were comfortable. Somehow our booking (arranged months ago) was switched last minute from Courtyard rooms - which we were looking forward to - to another floor. This is probably the only disappointment. Note that there is a nightly parking fee which should be included in the room rate in my opinion. Rate was better than other options, however, and value mattered on this particular trip.

    5
« Our 'Go To' Place in Niagara Falls »

We usually go to Niagara Falls once or twice a year because we enjoy the atmosphere.(Not the Casino and Not the shopping. Apparently there's a significant spectacular waterfalls nearby) We stayed at the BW+ Cairn Croft last year, and decided that it was pointless to find a better Hotel at such reasonable rates. They didn't disappoint.

    3
« Decent Hotel but DONT stay on the Courtyard Side, Unreasonably noisy till late at night »

Stayed here for a conference and pretty standard for a best western. I recommend you ask when you are booking if there is a hockey tournament group or anything involving large amounts of children. Stayed here 3 nights and had a room in the courtyard next to the pool. At any other time you might think this is a good spot. Try hundreds of children in the 5-10 year old age SHRIEKING in the courtyard next to your room from 10 am till 11 pm at night. They have to be out of the pool by 10 but can still run around, and play hockey all around the courtyard. Also, many times children ran through the conference rooms during presentations...with nary an adult to be seen behind them. I don't think I'd stay here again, of if I did I'd ask for a room on an upper floor on the outside of the building. Three nights now with little sleep. Unaccepable :(

    5
« Excellent room and service »

The rooms are a good size, with great swimming pool and two hot tubs and an area for children to play inside. The Irish pub attached to the hotel has the best Celtic food without being in Ireland! The area attached to the pool makes enjoying your stay easier so you don't need to use the elevator.

    « Excellent Hotel But »

Good people at the motel but the bar took off most of the domestic beers off menu so u have to pay more cause its mostly their premier beers so domestic beer is only Canadian --bud --bud lite not impressed

    « The Best »

Cairn Croft is the Canadian Garden of Eden. Spending time poolside under the canopy of their exquisite tropical garden is better than a vacation in Florida. It is our home-away-from-home in the winter and makes winter bearable.

    « Good Value and location ... »

I've stayed here several times while in Niagara Falls for a Conference booked at the hotel. It is slightly dated however the rooms have always been clean and beds are comfortable. The staff have always been very pleasant. It is still a very reasonable price for a hotel and well worth the value.

    « Love this hotel »

We stayed at this hotel while on tour and loved it. The hotel itself is lovely with nice comfortable beds. It is a little far to walk to the falls but there is public transport outside the hotel. The staff at reception were just lovely, so friendly and helpful. The restaurant on site has delicious food at a good price.

    « Family Hotel - Nice setup »

Stayed for 3 nights with family of 4. Including 11 and 10 year old. We stayed in the atrium with the pool. The room is small, but clean and had a fridge. The setup was great for our family as the kids could enjoy the pool and play area and we could sit right outside our room and watch them. Very crowded on Saturday evening. The hotel does a nice job closing the pool so the noise level drops at 10pm. The hotel is within walking distance to plenty of food and grocery. Had breakfast at the hotel once and was not impressed. Quick cab ride or WEGO trip to the Falls. Good family value hotel.

Had stayed at this hotel several years ago and loved it. Though the property is getting dated, the facilities were clean and check in was easy. When we entered our room though, the air was thick with chemical odour. Either the carpet had recently been shampooed or something had been sprayed. Our room had a back door that led to outside/open air and i figured leaving that open a while would clear the smell. Nope! As i have asthma, i had to (try to) sleep with the outside door propped open the whole night. Got up early and left immediately in order to feel better. Too bad as the set up with the pool and hot tubs in the courtyard is convenient and different than other places and enjoyed using that area. There is a ridiculous policy now of not bringing 'outside' food and drink to pool area as they have a restaurant and bar available to purchase their food in hotel. We, and many others ignored this rule and had snacks in the courtyard. This is a family hotel and they need to expect that patrons will want to bring drinks and snacks rather than purchasing everything. There is a 10 dollar parking fee which i see no reason for--especially since the lot was full when we arrived and we had to park at the rear of hotel and walk with luggage all the way around to main entrance as back doors are locked. Will not stay again which is unfortunate as location is good and pool area is fun. Also, the jets did not work in one of the hot tubs.

« BW Plus Cairn Croft is one of rare excellence. »

From arrival to departure, registration staff, cleaning and restaurant staff, and the food; were all of professional caliber. The only problem was that the Blue Jays were making signs of future failure; but the tv reception was very good. 60 years of hotel comparisons - this is one of the best.

    « Great overall »

We had a courtyard room, sliding glass doors to a courtyard with luscious trees and pool/hottub. Beds were comfortable, quiet night. One downfall was the distance away from the falls, needed to drive everywhere. Would stay closer to the falls next time, great for sports teams or families

i have stayed at this hotel before. room wa clean. check in and check out was fast. i just do not like i have to pay for parking and there is no breakfast included as in other best western hotels. i think this is due to they have a restuarant on site. 5 minute drive to main area and casino. they do offer a shuttle/bus you can take for a nominal fee if needed.

    « Great place »

We stayed here for one night as part of a tour, visiting Niagara Falls. The hotel is a little way out of town, but this is a good thing in our opinion as Niagara is best described as a poor mans Vegas! Facilities were as expected and this was the first hotel of our stay that actually had an illuminated vanity area! We walked into town at night which took around 25 minutes, but got a cab back which was around $12. There is an Irish bar on site, but we didn't visit it. A comfortable place to stay.

I booked this hotel through groupon, 2 queen beds. The room was spacious and clean, it had a TV but no fridge. It had a nice pool and hot tub that looked clean, staff was super helpful. The hotel is like 10 minutes by car to the falls. There is no breakfast and you have to pay $10 per car for parking that it's not included when you make the reservation.

« Nice place / Great Irish Pub »

A little out of tourist town aka Falls central but a very nice hotel with helpful staff, plush, spacious rooms and a great Irish pub with an array of locsl ales! Well connected to centre by WeGo red line buses right out the front! Plenty of eateries close by too.

visit was ruined by a cheesy 10 dollar fee for parking.employees couldnt care less about your complaints.there was no mention of this fee during booking process online.I am handicapped and parked in a handicapped spot and was very disappointed to learn after it was too late to cancel I was being hit with a 10 dollar fee.

« Trip to the Falls »

the hotel was a good base away from the bright lights and the brash in your face nature of those closer to the falls. The hotel was a good base for touring in the area. The breakfasts in the 'Irish Pub' bar had no fresh fruit option, a breakfast buffet would improve the meal.

« Kids loved the "Courtyard" Indoor Pool, Nice Staff »

This hotel was clean and the staff was welcoming, attentive and helpful. It is a bit old but well-maintained with very comfortable beds and lots of outlets to charge everything up. Bathroom is a little tight but not terrible. No breakfast here and it looks like they promote the attached restaurant too much, suggesting a "kickback" or relative ownership. The indoor pool is in a courtyard. All rooms can access the courtyard via a lockable sliding glass door, which also has tables, chairs and arcade games. No elevators here so book ground floor if you prefer/need to avoid stairs. Walls are a bit thin and we had to call the front desk at around 1:00 AM since our next-door neighbor was very loud and after 20 minutes we gave up and called. 5 minutes after our call all fell silent and we slept well through the rest of the night. This location is not walking distance to the falls but the "red line" bus rides this street frequently by day, not so much by night. It is close to a "Zehrs" supermarket where we bought the breakfast that the hotel won't provide. I would highly recommend Zehr's bakery for breakfast. It's healthier and better than Tim Hortons which is EVERYWHERE you look! I would stay here again if in the area though not wait as long if a neighbor is not courteous.

    « Great place near the falls ! ! »

It has a wonderful tropical pool area with a 25 ft. enclosed glass type ceiling with tropical gardens throughout. the rooms are slightly dated but very well kept and very clean. The front desk staff are great and to us were very helpful. Even housekeeping was helpful and polite. Half of the hotel surrounds this beautiful pool area so if you don't want that I'm sure you can ask. We had some issues with HVAC system in our room but only because they were switching from cooling to heating because of the seasonal changes. When I called the desk for help they sent the on duty Manager to our room and he brought 2 space heaters in case we needed them plus free breakfast vouchers for the onsite restaurant. Wow that was a nice gesture on their part. And we thanked them. The pool has 2 big hot tubs. They have a Irish Pub restaurant attached to the hotel with a great bar area. Breakfast was very good so I can't speak about the rest of the menu. There's a Mexican restaurant across the street along with a Pizza hut and Mcdonalds flanked on either side of the hotel. Also there's a grocery store in a plaza right next door also. Bus service is right out front of the hotel also. It takes you to the falls etc. We stayed on Sun. & Mon. and rates were half the weekend rates. So enjoy this great hotel ! !

« a place my family always come back to »

This is an extended family house for us, we always come back to Best Western, for it's comfort, clean bedrooms, awesome pool, and the way they make us feel at home. The kids love been there and we are at peace with them running around the place.

« Great Place to Stay »

I can't say anything bad about this hotel, the room was great and so was the staff. The recommended excursions and help with what we needed. I would stay here again and I would also recommend this to anyone visiting Niagara Falls Canada.

    « Excellent staff »

We have stayed at over 8+ Best Westerns over the past 3 months. The Staff here was excellent. At the time of booking via Best Western Central, however, we were not told that we would have to pay for parking which was a surprise and very , very disappointing as this was not budgeted for. Not sure where we would park anyway, if were are booked to stay at hotel to begin with. It only stands to reason that we park at the hotel. Most of the time we were out and about anyway and only parked at night.

    « Very Accomodating Hotel! »

It is the people that make a difference, and I have had an excellent experience at this location on numerous occasions. Great Irish Pub, is also a beautifully decorated restaurant with great food and conveniently on site. Hotel is also located seconds to anything you could possibly need, including many fast food chains and grocery, walking distance to attractions and bus at the front door.

    « Great service »

Rooms very comfortable. Staff very friendly. Great pub (McGuigans) forms part of the hotel serving good food and with great entertainment. Exceptional customer services. I had left my glasses at the heliport after flying over the falls earlier in the day. I rang reception to ask them to order a taxi for me and Paul insisted he takes me. I was pleasantly surprised, thank you Paul.

    « A Jaded Hotel »

Stayed for 2 nights for visiting Niagara. Hotel is approx 30 mins walk away from the falls although there is a bus stop right outside the hotel. Room was adequate but air conditioner/ heating was very noisy. Good Irish pub on site, good food and drink.

« Nice comfortable place to stay when at Niagara »

This hotel is in a good location near Niagara Falls, close to many restaurants & other hotels. The rooms are comfortable & spacious too. The shuttle bus to the falls stops regularly outside the hotel, so you don't have to walk far if you don't want to.

« Comfortable but needs refreshing »

The room was comfortable and had sufficient amenities. It could do with a sprucing up. Free wifi but no laundry. About 20 minutes to the Falls walking. Plenty of eating options close by. Nice and quiet. Plenty of parking. Staff friendly.

Perfect hotel for a Niagara Falls golf trip. Centrally located, large comfortable room, great pool and hot tub and an outstanding Irish pub and restaurant attached to the hotel. What more can a golfer ask for All golf courses are located within 20 minutes of the hotel.

    « It'll Do »

We stayed here one night. It was ok, but hidden costs of 100 Canadian (which we still haven't been credited for) for security deposit (at a hotel??), and a 10 dollar parking fee. rooms were fine, but cost was definitely higher than the quality. Pool looked fun and big, but we did not use it as there was too much to see the day we were at the falls.
