    « Super 8, Natchez »

Great place to stay, very neat and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Close to the Mississippi and Louisiana state lines. Even though we were close to the highway, it was very quiet! No traffic noise!

    « Amazing!! »

This is a 4 star hotel with a 2 star price!! The staff was very friendly and the hotel was super clean and nice. It was definitely the best super 8 I've ever stayed at while traveling!!

    4
    « Amazed »

At first I was a bit nervous about booking here but the Trip Advisor rating was 4 and the recent reviews were excellent. We were not disappointed! My complaint was taken care of immediately and we had a great 3 night lodging experience.

« Decent hotel at a good price »

If you are looking for a basic, clean, comfortable, and inexpensive place to stay in Natchez, this hotel fills the bill.

    4
« Good Hotel for the price »

We stayed here for 1 night on a recent roadtrip of the South. We had problems finding a hotel room as there was a conference in town and then came across the Super 8 & were very happy. Our room had a view of the Mississipi. The room & hotel were very clean & adequate. The price was very reasonable. We had issues with some very loud guests in the next room very late at night, however a phone call to reception sorted this out for us, so we were grateful for that. The breakfast was adequate, we only require cereal & yoghurt, so it did the job. I would recommend this hotel.

    3
« Served our need just fine »

As others have noted the bathroom needs new showers but other than that the room was clean, spacious, quiet, and bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good and well presented. It is an older building but for an overnight stay it was fine.

    4
« Like the views and location »

Right by the river. Close to down town. Nice and clean room. Great breakfast. I will definitely be back.

    « Don't stay here! »

Started with check in....there were major issues with their internet being down. So they could not complete our paperwork. Then, in our room, the curtain was hanging off the window, we could not get the faucet in the tub to stop dripping, the ice machine on our floor was broken, so we went up to the 3rd floor, a smoking floor that reeked and there was a plastic cup with water in it full of cigarette butts on the radiator in the stairwell. Bathroom floor was filthy and tons of mildew, black stuff around shower. The Internet was pretty much non existent, if we connected, it was only for a very short period of time, 5-10 minutes, then got kicked off.

    3
« Not bad for the price »

We were on our way to Natchez and stayed here for the night. The room was clean and bed comfy. Tub was old. Bathroom needs a facelift and doors are pretty banged up. Breakfast was nothing special. We skipped it. For one night it's a good place to stay.

« Unexpected stay but worth the incovenience »

We were in Natchez for the weekend and actually had reservations at Natchez State Park. We spent one night there but unfortunately had sewer problems that could not be repaired and had to leave the morning of our second day. We were not ready to go back home so decided to look around town for a place to stay the second night. We picked Super8 and were completely happy with the decision. We got a nice room, free breakfast and even got to watch the LSU game! We will be going back again.

    « natchez nice »

the hotel was very comfortable ,clean, good value. The staff goes out of there way to be helpful and friendly. The 2nd shift woman behind the front desk was very helpful. She took time to make up and print out a copy of eateries and made on spot recommendations of the best ones. It was close to the river and town.It didn't have an indoor pool which was the only negative mark that I can say . Next time I go to Natchez I will book there. My friends stayed at the Hampton for almost twice the money and this was equal to it. The Hampton had an outside pool too.

    5
    « OKAY »

The overall stay was okay. The pillow case had stains and there was a lot of dust on each night stand & lamp. We had to wait 5 minutes at the front desk before someone came.

    4
    « A Day Early »

We had a business meeting to attend so we decided to head down a day early. So we could do some site seeing. We was out and about and seen the Super 8 had good reviews so we pick it to stay for the night over looking the mighty Mississippi. The hotel staff was really nice and helpful. The rooms was nice and clean the a/c worked great. The breakfast was good. The price was very reasonable yes I will stay there again. Hope to see you again soon.

« Beat the heat get away »

My wife and I took a one night trip just to get away. Too hot to work in yard so we just took off. Rooms are clean and well furnished. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was good quick and simple. Right on river. Only complaint is nowhere to sit outside and drink coffee and smoke a smoke. If you so desire

    5
    « Very Clean »

Great rooms kept in great shape by the owners. Breakfast meets standards. The work out facilities are ok, but plenty of places to run. Ask for a MS River view room. Beautiful look over the Bluffs! Internet is very sufficient for business needs.

« Great Location to enjoy Natchez »

The Best Western River Inn was ideally situated for a visit to explore Natchez and its numerous historical places. Our room overlooked the Mississippe River bridge and was just minutes away from fine dining and the historical mansions and sites of ante bellum and Civil War Era Natchez. The facility was clean, quiet and comfortable.

« historic vicksburg and Natchez »

Loved the Natchez Inn and enjoyed the drive on on the Natchez Trace ,coming from Vicksburg. Got a room with a wonderful of the Mississippi River. Natchez is a great place to see Antibellum houses, stately, and spring green this time of year. Good places to eat and great places to view the great river. Be sure to to see the Mississippi museum

    5
« One of the more affordable places to stay during Natchez Pilgrimage »

This was still a Best Western when we stayed here a few weeks ago. It is a newer property and is quiet, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Natchez accomodations tend to be either worn out budget hotels or pricey downtown hotels and bed and breakfast homes--with little in between. Thanksfully this hotel was an alternative to the two extremes.

    4
    « Good hotel »

We had 1 night at this hotel. It's situation by the Mississippi river near a main road. The hotel is clean and very comfortable real good value for money. The staff were very good and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was a good start to the day.

« End of Riding the Trace »

This hotel was really great after riding the Natchez Trace by bicycle. Clean comfortable beds and a great breakfast. Staff were courteous and understanding when we arrived. Close enough to downtown so we could do a walking tour of Natchez

    4
« Good Value and good stay »

The hotel is great value and the rooms were clean and comfy and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location you can drive into Natchez in 2mins or as we did walk in 10mins, there is a busy road to cross, but does have a grass verge in the middle which makes it easier and it does go quiet in the evening.

    5
    « Great value »

Hotel is very nice, good value for the price. Other hotels in the area are way overpriced and Best Western should be full each evening. The rooms were clean and well furnished. Will stay here again when in the area.

    4
    « Nice Stay »

Enjoyed the river view room. Our room was comfortable, quiet, and we really enjoyed the view of the river. I will definitely be staying at this hotel during my next trip to Natchez, Mississippi. Great location and nice staff at this property.

    3
« Tripadvisor Big Boo Boo »

When we arrived at the hotel we found we could not stay there because that hotel was not pet friendly. When I was booking our rooms I looked specifically at listed pet friendly hotels. The woman at the desk of Best Western was very nice and helpful in finding us hotel that is pet friendly. She told me that the hotel has tried to have the "pet friendly" removed from their hotel listing but it hasn't. So...very nice person at the front desk but not a good experience w/TripAdvisor for steering us in the wrong direction.

    4
    « Good and clean »

The hotel was clean; the room was clean with adequate towels; the breakfast was good, but I would have liked bacon offered with, or instead of, sausage and better eggs; most of the time, the tables in the breakfast area were clean; I would have loved if they had an indoor pool, since we went for the Spring Pilgrimage Tours and the outside pool wasn't opened yet; and the price was reasonable.

« Great Best Western in Natchez, MS »

Located virtually on the banks of the Mississippi, this Best Western is convenient to the great historic antebellum homes of Natchez. This Best Western is exceptional in the quality of its service and accommodations. The staff are friendly, helpful and hospitable. This is a great place for a sty in this wonderful historic city.

    « Very Disappointed »

Arrive around midnight after a long drive from Texas. Check-in was quick, easy & friendly. Unloaded luggage and we got ready for bed. However, all night long we kept hearing and "thunk thunk thunk" over and over ALL NIGHT LONG. We were in room 214 and it's apparently over the hotels commercial laundry room area and they like to do laundry all hours of the night. Informed the clerk in the morning about the constant noise and lack of sleep we received due to the noise. She told me I should have said something last night about it and their is nothing she can do about it now. -not very friendly The next morning at 8am we went down for breakfast and the coffee was out and the eggs and sausage was out. Apparently the breakfast tenant was on a break so we had to wait for about 15mins before we could have our breakfast. The waffle maker did not have the waffle spray so the waffles would stick very badly to the maker almost impossible to get try waffle to come out. Went back to room after crappy breakfast to try and nap for about 20 mins before We needed to get ready to leave and the clerk called telling me they didn't do laundry that night and I informed her that she woke me up... She said we could have a late checkout that day, but that wouldn't help us because we were going to a funeral. Saddened by the lack for care taken at this best western. The bathroom has wallpaper falling off and major water leakage above shower!!! Plus the closet has metal hanging that could easily cut your hand. Apparently the cleaning people do not relay problems to management and/or management does note care about it. I have been a rewards member for many years and this is very disappointing.

    « Can't get much better! »

Everything was exactly as expected. Room was clean. Staff was kind. Breakfast was good. This Best Western upheld the consistent quality that I expect in a BW hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

    3
« Best Western in Natchez, MS »

This hotel is very average. The service was fine, but the beds were uncomfortably hard. The room seemed a bit dirty. The furnishings were cheap. We also had an unpleasant experience with the people in the next room who were engaged in adult activity throughout the night. They were extremely loud and we could hear everything that was going on through the walls. Fortunately they were gone the next day and our second night was peaceful. The breakfast was average. Overall, we were not pleased with this hotel and would stay away if we returned to Natchez.

« Stay fo American Legion Conference. »

There was a group of 6 that attended the Mid-Winter Conference for the American Legion. Checked in on Thursday and out on Saturday. Really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very pleasant and informative. We attended a conference in this same area and stayed at a neighboring hotel and walked on wet carpet for 3 days, needless to say we were very dissatisfied with that. Best Western was so much nicer and cleaner. We give this hotel 5 stars.

    3
« Best price on the river »

A little old and dingy but very friendly and helpful employees. Right on the river with several rooms with nice views. If you can get a good room and don't need a new, shiny place, stay here. The employees make up for the deficits

    5
« Great stay at Best Western Natchez »

Room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Great location minutes to everything. Staff was helpful and breakfast was very good. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel is quiet. I highly recommend this hotel and I plan to return.

    3
    « average hotel »

I spent more on this hotel for its location and river view. The view consisted of a smallish window off to the side of the room that you had to go around the desk to get full benefit of. Basically, you couldn't comfortably enjoy the view, you kind of had to work for it. The curtains were hard to open, and opened opposite of what would have provided the best view, so it was disappointing, and not worth the price of the view. The room was clean and comfortable, but somewhat cramped with furniture. The breakfast was okay. This was our 3rd night in a BW and we were ready for a "real" breakfast.

    3
« Worn and old, but clean »

This hotel is located on the MS side of the Natchez-Vidalia Bridge. It is an older hotel, but very clean. While it is in close proximity to the river walk and casino, it is not within walking distance. We had a room on the second floor on the river side, which doesn't really give you a "view" of the river. The bridge, however, is beautiful at night. The walls are thin. We could here our next-door neighbors talking. I was concerned about the traffic noise from the bridge, but it wasn't bad. Breakfast was the usual - nothing exceptional, but adequate. The front desk clerks were friendly and informative. If you are only staying one night, this hotel will do.

    3
« Nice view of the bridge over the Mississippi River »

The service was good. The woman at the front desk recommended the Under the Hill area and we went there. Thanks. The rooms were clean and there was a nice view from the window. I'm not generally a Hotel person but this was OK.

    4
« Great location, good value »

Hotel is accross from Visitor center and close to downtown attractions. The staff was pleasant and gave good recommendations in regard to dining. Hotel looks out onto the Mississipi River. Breakfast was average but Ok for quick bite before sight seeing.

    4
« Great hotel except for Front Desk »

Really enjoyed our stay in Natchez. Our Best Western hotel was very clean and nice. The hotel had great amenities. The lady at the Front Desk was rather negative, I gave her space and tried to be friendly with her. I hope can be more positive. Anyway the hotel is very good.

    « Overall Stay Comments »

Even though our stay was short it was sweet the stay was great, the attendant was so cordial and very informative of places to eat and that had really good deals. I will be staying at more Best Western if possible in the future.

    5
    « Great stay! »

I highly recommend this Best Western. The room was great and staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a room with a view of the bridge. It's beautiful at night! The location was just minutes from downtown.

  • 5
    « Great Hospitality »

This hotel is overlooked mainly for its name brand. Best Western has upgraded all of their properties recently. This property is very clean, and the people at the front desk are like coming home to mom or grandma. They welcome you back, and ask if there is anything you may need. Great place to stay for Pilgrimage or with a big group. If you want a river view, ask for 3rd floor and above on the riverside.

    3
« Good Location On Mississippi River »

The hotel is located overlooking the Mississippi River. The room had plenty of space. But there is an odor of trying to mask cigarette smoke. We were doing laundry as we've been on the road for 2+ weeks, and it was time to wash again. The availability of a coin-operated laundry was what drew us to the hotel. Whenever we needed the desk clerk for quarters, she as outside smoking.

« Nothing really memorable here except for the Mississippi River... »

I was kind of disappointed with this location. It really was just rather bland, nothing really stood out to me. I would also say that the little details one who travels alot for business were overlooked. The view was okay. One can mostly see the bridge between Natchez, MS and Vidalia, LA. The traffic on the bridge was also a bit more noticeable than I would of thought. I've certainly stayed at worse hotels, but I've also stayed at ones (even just this week) that made me feel at home while on the road. They've got a great location and view, now they need to really make the rest as memorable as that. Recommended with some reservations...

    4
« a great location overlooking the mississippi river »

a comfortable place near the natchez visitor center with spacious rooms and fine beds. would like to see more fresh fruit such as bananas at the breakfast. More promotional rates during quiet periods of the year and week would enhance occupancy rate

    2
« Would be great for smokers... »

The stench of cigarette smoke greats you as the mechanical doors part allowing entrance into the Best Western River Inn, Natchez Mississippi. Clean is accompanied by a smell. Although I did not notice clutter or obvious filth during my stay at the Best Western River Inn, I did notice the absence of the "smell of clean." I would not recommend staying here if you take issue with inhaling second hand smoke.

    4
    « Visiting Natchez »

This was a nice hotel but, the mattress and pillows seemed worn which is the purpose of a hotel. A good nights sleep is needed. Over all the hotel was nice and clean and was in a great location to old town Natchez.

    3
    « Tired hotel »

This hotel is showing its age. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was ok but needs more seating room, the staff was good. The cleanliness of the carpets left much, much, much to be desired. The carpet in the lobby and hallway needs to be replaced or at least cleaned. There was only one waffle maker for all the guests at breakfast and one four slice toaster, which one side did not work. This could be a nice place but it needs some help

    3
    « Others are available »

I like Best Western as a brand as you know what to expect. The hotel looked fine from the outside as it layback from the road before crossing the bridge. The staff were very friendly and helpful but the hotel could do with a refresh, the carpet in the communal areas especially. There was a balloon event on while we were there so one day the hotel was very busy at breakfast time, meaning that there was nowhere to sit as even the easy chairs were occupied. Should the size of the dining area be as a ratio of the rooms available? The breakfast (it was included so I suppose I shouldn't complain) was not great and only luke warm on most mornings. There were no facilities for an evening meal so we went out to one of the other hotels and that was lovely. The views from our location certainly made up for any short comings of the accommodation.

    5
    « My Regular »

Great staff and perfect location when visiting the city. Located across from the visitor center and close to the bridge for a quick trip into LA.. Great view and a very clean pool area. Security is good.

    4
    « NICE HOTEL »

Hotel was quiet and well kept. Over looks the Mississippi River but if you want a view you need a room on the back of the hotel on an upper floor. Not in walking distance to the historic part of town.

    « Quick Vacation »

Clean, comfortable and quiet room. Older in style but kept up. Breakfast is no rave. The staff was helpful and no problems with our stay. Would recommend for short term stay while enjoying Natchez! Thanks for the memories

    3
    « smile »

The hotel was great. New looking. clean and @ a good location. The person @ the front desk never smiled or was pleasant in the slightest way. When I came back down to ask about the pool a different person had the same attitude. I guess they did not like what they did for a living. Too bad for you

    5
    « Quiet and clean »

Stayed on our way to Natchez and was surprised at how quiet the room was and clean, very clean. If you are looking for a great place to stay this is it. I'm not a fan of the little pillows but the comfortable bed more than made up for it.

Very comfortable clean and the staff was exceptionally cordial. Will be coming back to stay and looking forward to staying elsewhere with Best Western. Looking forward to the points reward they are offering as well.

    « Lodging in Natchez »

The Best Western in Natchez was a great value for the money. Our room had a scenic view. The bed was comfortable, and our room was kept clean daily by housekeeping, It was a quiet place to stay as well. We did not encounter any problems during our stay. The breakfast is just average with nothing special, yet it was basic and met our needs. We liked the extra security of just one road in and out to this hotel.

    5
    « Excellent Hotel »

What a lovely BW. We had a lovely room, the pool was lovely and the breakfast was good. The hotel is well placed for visiting the town. You can either walk which takes about 15-20 mins or take the car which takes 5 mins. Plenty of parking available in the lovely little town.
