Best Western Plus Inn at the Vines

This hotel showed up online via Google maps as offering rooms for $128/night but when I got there, the front desk person told me the room would be just under $300/night. She said it might have been because I was looking at the app at just before midnight, but now that it was a bit after midnight the date change impacted the pricing. I didn't want to spend so much money and was considering driving south to motel 6, but didn't. In the end, the room itself was decent, the bed was comfortable, the shower was nice, but the doors that go to the exterior of the building were exceptionally loud and kept being used throughout the night so I really didn't get any sleep. I'd have been better off going to motel 6 and probably would have slept better in my car

Here for a family funeral so not near the wineries. However, it's nice to be near the highway and there are stores, restaurants and all conveniences here. Also close to downtown, 10 min drive. Easy access.

Friendly staff as well as knowledgeable of what's going on in the area. You are near a grocery store,target, IHOP,in &out movie theater all on walking distance. The Meratage for wine drinking is up the street.

Super clean and remodeled hotel.....Very friendly staff, nice little pool and hot tub, close to everything Napa. Great pricing for such a great property. Rooms first class, fresh ground coffee in lobby, comfy beds

My family and I have stayed here multiple times and have had a great experience each time. Rooms are always clean and comfortable. Front office staff are amazing and always helpful and polite. Location is great.

Beautifully renovated hotel.. Rooms are large, beds are made everyday. Heated outdoor pool and hot tub very clean. Restaurant attached to the hotel. Wonderful service. Laundry was being serviced and they went way beyond to help us.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite (2 king beds and a sofa bed). I love that each bedroom had it own bathroom and on top of that, the living room had half a bad downstairs! The room was so spacious. The beds were comfortable too! It would get noisy at time though. My room didn't have a closet oddly enough. Overall, I'd stay here again.

I stayed for 3 nights, nice hotel having been recently refurbished. Good access to the town 30 min walk and easy to reach Napa, Sonoma etc. The price for the room was high especially as there was no breakfast included. One night there was terrible roadworks right outside the hotel until 1am which was disapointing.

My stay at the Best Western Plus Inn At The Vine was nothing short of fantastic. The combination of a clean and comfortable room, excellent amenities, a beautiful pool area, and outstanding customer service made for a memorable experience. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Napa Valley, and I look forward to returning on my next trip to this wonderful region.

Stay in Napa close to everything! It is right across the street from shopping in case you forget something like I did. 20 minutes to the wineries - both on the 29 and Siverado Trail. Room was very clean and it was big (also had a big balcony to get some fresh evening air)! I'll be back!

It's close to shopping centers. If you have a car very easy to get around to down town Napa and all the great restaurants. If you don't mind walking it's maybe 30 minute walk from down town. Great location for all occasions.

The room was clean, relatively comfortable and the hotel was quiet. I would stay again but I definitely would turn on the thermostat to sleep next time. Our room was warm all night so I had the sliding glass door open and could hear a lot of traffic noise - not ideal.

This hotel is a great location for Napa. There is shopping (food & clothiing & resturants) right across the street. It's easy to find and has parking but not a lot of shade for your car. There is a pool, but we didn't use it because we were there for wine tasting.

When it comes to hotels, CLEAN is the most important characteristic to me. This hotel would get a 5 star for that. My room was apparently recently renovated. Everything was immaculate and in working order. It was roomy and comfortable. All of the amenities were in working order and I was comfortable walking barefoot around my room and bath (not always the case). I bring my own pillow when I travel, but even with that, I had a hard time sleeping--maybe not used to the bed. The reason I didn't give it a 5-star review was because of all the noise. The walls must be paper-thin and the lack of insulation between floors allowed hallway noise on the floor ABOVE mine to echo through my room as well. Also, although there was a rain-type showerhead, the water pressure was sorely lacking so the water dribbled out. Nevertheless, for the price and quality of the room, I'll bring earplugs to sleep and enjoy this BW again.

Room was a good value for the location it was in. Communication from hotel could have been better. We were not informed of the gym being closed or construction happening at 8am every morning until we were checking in. Additionally, the room was full of bugs and mosquitos. We killed several of them and had to put a towel under the door to prevent more from getting in.

It is a nice hotel. The room was modern and clean. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The hotel is located about 1/2 mile from downtown Napa and Ubers were plentiful and quick to take us to our dinner reservations.

One of the nicest coziest Best Westerns I've stayed at - recent room upgrades are really attractive, the room was nicely appointed, plenty of fluffy towels, loved the balcony table and chairs - the hot tub and pool were heated and fully functioning (so rare nowadays!) the exercise equipment I tried worked(!!), location was convenient and reasonably quiet, grounds were pleasantly landscaped, and a convenient restaurant next door though I didn't try it. And really great staff, best of all! Highly recommend this hotel!!

Rooms looks like they just got renovated. Nice design, comfy bed, great wifi and streaming option. Parking is quiet and looks safe at night. Huckleberry restaurant is just beside the hotel and walking distance to stores, fast food restaurant and starbucks!

We enjoyed a nice one night stay at the BWP Inn at the Vines. The hotel's conveniently located at the Southern end of the Napa Valley and is a great spot to explore Napa and Stag's Leap. The hotel's being renovated and there's quite a bit of construction activity but it wasn't overwhelming. We appreciated and took advantage of $10 vouchers for breakfast at Huckelberry's next door.

We stayed in a renovated room which was really nice. Check in was super easy, very nice and efficient staff. Only issues were the safe didn't work and the barn style door wouldn't stay closed—the rail was not level. This wasn't an issue for us since we never closed the door. Also, remodeling is ongoing until January but we didn't hear any noise. Breakfast at Huckleberry's was horrible!

We enjoyed our stay here, the room was a great size and set up. One thing missing was a mirror outside the bathroom (only one mirror in our room). This made it difficult to get ready if one of us was occupying the bathroom. We were on an upper floor which we wanted because of the balcony! It was nice and the location of our was relatively private. There was construction going on near our room but we were getting up early each day and it wasn't terribly loud so it was fine. The room could have been cooler though, we had the AC on as low as it goes and woke up hot a lot throughout the night so sleep wasn't ideal, but overall the room and hotel was a great stay for our trip and we would stay again!

We have stayed at Best Western hotels for many years. While the room was while the room was really nice, the low water pressure in the shower and no in house breakfast was a deal breaker for us. We paid too much for what we received.

The hotel was very expensive, nearly $400/night with taxes and fees, but had an average motel-like experience. It's not within walking distance of really anything in Napa, except McDonald's and Taco Bell. Maybe this is the going rate for staying in Napa, but I've stayed in hotels just as nice for less than 1/3 of the price. The bed was so-so for comfort, with lumpy pillows that made it hard to fall asleep. There was also construction going on at the hotel that was not mentioned in their listing that affected the hotel's ability to deliver customer service. Availability of rooms with two beds was extremely limited, and with the hotel not having roll-aways available, my friend had to sleep on the floor.

The room was spacious, the bathroom immaculate at check-in and the bed very comfortable. The only thing wrong with the room was that all night long the air conditioner would go on and off, so we would wake up to cover ourselves or kick off the covers. We were told upon checking in, that our room would not be cleaned for the duration of our stay. I didn't mind them not making the bed, but by the 4th day of using the same towels and the garbage piling up, I got annoyed. With the prices we paid, I resented having to ask for a roll of toilet paper. They knew we were staying for 5 days, so we should have received ample supplies. Less than an ounce of shampoo for 2 people for 5 days was totally inadequate.

After checking in at 1 am (they knew this would be the case because I notified them prior), I awakened a few hours later to construction. The walls are already thin. When I called the front desk to see what could be done, she did not care.

The hotel was in the middle of renovations, and we had a new room. The room was very nice; although the walls or door need reinforcement to block out outside noise. A very noisy room from just foot traffic in the hallway.

Hotel is undergoing major renovation. Extreme noise and vibration from construction interfered with rest, relaxation and ability to enjoy room and property. Complaints were not taken seriously and no compensation for our room via points or discounts was provided.

$5 coupon for the 2 of us rather than free breakfasts as advertised. Loud construction starting at 8 in the morning. The large screen TV was nice, but the bathroom sliding door would not close. Otherwise the room was okay.

The bathroom sink was clogged upon our arrival. The water pressure in the shower was almost non-existent. There was an uneven area in the floor (in front of the TV) in which I tripped over many times. There was construction going on from 8 am to 6 pm. (This was not mentioned when I originally made the reservations.)

Called site one week before visit. Told there was a vehicle charging station. Major construction work, very noisy not told about. Charging station not available, blocked with construction container. No concern regarding these problems upon check-in.

Comfortable beds and a little patio to enjoy some fresh air! The staff was very helpful, especially when recommending placing to eat around the hotel. There was plenty of parking which I thought might be an issue.

Beautiful remodel of the rooms at this hotel. Comfortable bed and pillows. Felt safe and secure. Great location. Near several restaurants, balloon rides and easy access to highway heading to Napa Valley or back Southwest to San Francisco!!

The location is great, easy to access restaurants, wineries, etc. The BW is spotless and while they do not clean the rooms daily you can access clean towels etc. We didn't care for the restaurant which was called Cajun but the servers were most willing to help but kind of over did the checking in on our order etc. I think they had just opened.

Was told we would not hear construction crew as they would end and begin at certain times. That was not true. Crew directly above our room worked until 8:30 pm and began at 6:30 am, despite being told otherwise. Every metal toe boot step was loud and clear at 6:30am Saturday and Sunday morning along with moving heavy objects and tools.

Breakfast was pitiful. Just wrapped snacks! This BW is expensive and amenities are minimal. The in room coffee maker was broken. The place is being renovated & rooms are clean but quite stark with minimal furniture. We didn't even have a table & only one chair. The swimming pool is no bigger than a large hot tub. Hot tub also small but it did work. Only fits 4 people. Won't stay here again.

No wow effect. It's an Inn, not a five star hotel, but we were surprisingly very comfortable. Spent four nights there. Inside and outside were very clean. Staff was especially friendly and accommodating. Exercise room was sufficient to get in a good workout. Laundry facilities on premises. Breakfast was grab and go continental and much appreciated. Room was very large. About a five minute car ride to downtown. Used the money saved on the room to treat ourselves to two really good shows at the Blue Note. Highly recommend. MANY food choices, from major chains to independents, and a Target across the street. Overall positive experience and great value Glad we didn't spend twice as much or more to be elsewhere.

When we got back to our hotel, our room key was not unlocking the door and was flashing red. The woman working at the front desk came up to help us but her master key would not open the door either. She said that with the recent renovations the normal locks were replaced with electronic locks and that the battery in the door lock had died and there was literally no way for us to get into our room (which also had all of our belongings). Additionally, the woman working at the front desk let us know that the hotel was completely sold out for the night so there would be no other rooms available for us to sleep in; not to mention we were given no explanation on how/when we would be able to get our belongings and had to drive & fly home the next morning. Luckily, one of our friends had gone back early because she was feeling ill and waiting for her boyfriend to come pick her up. She was sleeping when we got there but eventually she woke up and was able to let us in. But if she had not been there or had been picked up even 10 minutes prior, there would have been no way to get into our room. These rooms need to have a way for staff to bypass the locks if the battery dies (aka a working master key of some kind) to avoid issues like this in the future. Without a way for staff to get into the rooms, this can be extremely high-risk for hotel guests especially if there was an emergency of any kind, medical or otherwise. Besides this issue, the room was clean and the staff was kind. Location is convenient. Check out was simple. However unfortunately this major issue we encountered overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay and I hope Best Western is able to remedy this issue for future guests.

Hotel was clean and perfectly fine. The construction noise from the room below was not. Arrived in our room to heavy hammering noise , continued on until 5 pm. Saturday morning started back up at 9:30. The front desk should have mentioned the extremely loud construction noise would be going on and gave you the choice to be in a different room, or maybe not rent the rooms at all. The floor was literally shaking from the construction going on. The hotel should at least offer a discount or at least tell you about the noise.

locations very good in and out very easy 10 minutes to shopping outlet 8 minutes to downtown napa where most of the fine dinning restaurants located within 30 minutes to lots of winery we had a wonderful time in napa only problem we had was THERE IS NO HOUSE KEEPING SERVICES ------------hope they could changed that it has nothing to do with hotel.com this is the western hotels problems

Very nice location. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Clean room. Hotel has a pool and small spa. Only con is that the Denny's on-site is closed. But there is an IHOP directly across the street. Overall great place to stay.

This stay at the Inn at the Vines was average. The staff at the front desk was helpful and gave us some recommendations for a place to dine that evening. I suppose if you're just looking for a place to stay in Napa for a decent price this location works, but it leaves a little to be desired at the corner of a busy intersection. However, it's within walking distance to downtown which could be nice. They also included (2 x $ 10) breakfast coupons for the attached Denny's which was helpful. We were only passing through Napa for one night, so it did the job. If you're on a budget it would be a good place to stay, it just wasn't anything to write home about.

Although it's a dated property, this hotel is centrally located to everything and really, if you just need to sleep, it serves its purpose. Sure, you can spend $500 a night and stay at a fancy place, but we were there just literally 24 hours and for what we needed (sleep and a shower), it was fine. Upon arrival, I checked in with a very kind gentleman (forgot his name) and the reservation had me checking into a room with two queens. My confirmation doesn't say what room I received at time of booking, but I remember specifically booking the suite bc it has a separate room upstairs with living area downstairs. He was kind enough to try to put me in the suite at no additional charge, however when he went to lunch there was one suite available, but when he came back, which is the same time I arrived, it had just been booked. Although it didn't happen, I appreciated his efforts. As mentioned, the hotel is dated but it has everything you need. The room was spacious (we had three to the room but can easily fit four), has a pool and hot tub which we did not use, and good size gym which has one bike, one elliptical and one treadmill. The gym must not be used much bc I used the elliptical and bike; both creaked like it was in pain. The noise went away after 10-12 min of use. It also has a big sorta fitness platform so you can do weights. Nothing spectacular but like I said, it does what it needs to. Sanitizing wipes can be found IN THE BUSINESS CENTER which is one of the three rooms within the gym. Prob better to leave out on the counter. I only found them bc the maintenance guy came in and I asked. There's plenty of parking and the area was very safe. It's close to a lot of low key late night dining (Taco Bell, Applebee's, Denny's next door in same complex). Speaking of which, the hotel will give you $10 vouchers for Denny's next door, which we actually used as we needed snack between the last winery and dinner. We were able to use all three vouchers in one seating, which covered almost the entire bill. We paid just $1.69 (but of course tipped on the full amount as everyone should). Be advised the Denny's located there does not open 24/7; they close at 10pm. Aside the lack of fancy décor, which I wasn't expecting anyway, I'd have to say the hotel met all our needs. The beds were comfy and establishment clean. FYI – the rooms have a microwave AND fridge, which was nice. They also have a coffee maker, makeup wipes (which I forgot) and a full body mirror. I would consider staying here again.

great stay. False fire alarm went off at 3 am, was some what of an inconvenience. Other than that the stay was pleasant and we would return and recommend to friends and family for any future stays. Close to restaurants of our choice

The team at Best Western Plus Napa is AWESOME!! They are a very professional and friendly staff. They made sure my stay was comfortable and well worth the trip. The rooms were very clean, and the beds.

We will not be visiting this best western ever again. staff seemed somewhat careless. Also, the Dennys next door didn't apply the 15% off our meals. What really killed the stay was the NO HOT water and, AC would NOT shut off. We woke that morning with a very bad cold, and still haven't fully recovered. We spent over $500 for no hot water and an uncomfortable 2 night stay. We were so upset that we didn't even check out at the front office, We just left because we were sick cold, and upset.

Inn at the Vines was helpful and engaging. During COVID, there's no onsite breakfast. They provide $10/person vouchers to Denny's which is mere steps away. This Denny's has exceptional service. Inn at the Vines Hot Tub was clean and works well. Internet is the absolute worst. Its completely undependable and up & down like a yoyo. The management is aware of this and is attempting to address the problem. It is the one really sore spot in an otherwise good job. Clean & comfortable.

had a speedy check in the front desk person very helpful, room was perfect, nice comfy bed an pillows, I recommend Best Western .if your in the Napa Valley area an are just looking for a great room, close to the freeway.

Plenty of free parking and location is everything. It's located at the corner next to Denny's. Across the street you have In n Out, McD, Taco Bell, Target, Raley's. It's about a 10-20 minute drive into town like to Helena and Yountville. The also give a $10 coupon for Denny's. The night before, the hotel sent an email and asked what time we're arriving so they could try to have the room ready. We said between 1-3. We showed up at 2 and it wasn't ready so we hung out at Target. They called us at 3 when it was ready. Our room was #103. First floor, a few doors down from the lobby. Clean room. There's a microwave, mini fridge, desk, king size bed. The restroom had a night light built in when the lights are off. Great feature so that it's not pitch dark at night. They don't provide shower gel for toiletries so pack some of you need it.

I had requested the upper floor away from main road. Well I got the first floor facing the main street. NOISY! Up both days around 5a. Right next to the ice machine. Heard people filling up ice buckets all times of day and night. In room WiFi internet did not work called front desk he told me to call the internet provider. Advised housekeeping vending machine not working she told me to report it to front office. No one here followed up on any issues. They did not provide any housekeeping. Luckily the gas station right in front of our room was not in business anymore or more noise. I will not go back. Plus that they gouged the price on Friday night to $400.00 what a rip!

Clean place but I wouldn't stay again. It was definitely not worth the money. Beds were hard and pillows weren't great. Very dated and located on the corner of a busy street, so there was a lot of road noise. Staff was nice and very helpful.

The design of the room made dressing and using the toilet area cramped for a petite sized woman. The pool and spa were much smaller than advertised. Due to the pandemic, breakfast was a $10 voucher at the nearby Denny's. Perhaps due to the PGA event, the price for the second night (a Friday) was 170% greater than the first night. The two night stay cost over $1000 for a modest king size room. My past experience with other BW Plus was much better.

We arrived mid-day. The room was already available and check in was a breeze. The attendant was quite knowledgable about everything near by and made us reservations for a fantastic wine tour the next day.

The walls and ceilings seem to lack insulation, so you will hear conversations next to you and footsteps above. If staying here, bring ear plugs. Beds are hard as slate. The hotel is close driving distance to downtown, but not walking. And there is nothing nearby. Not recommended.

The hotel was immaculate! Pool area was very neat and tidy. First class accommodations for the price. The staff was exceptionally awesome! I usually have a hard time sleeping in hotels, especially the first night. The room was quiet and the bed was great. Went right to sleep.

Even though the hotel was right next to the main street, we did not hear any loud traffic. The local restaurants were very close too and if the kids just wanted fast food, they were right across the street.

Reasonable rates for Napa Valley and the location is perfect. Getting downtown and access to wineries on the Silverado Trail is quick and easy. There is a Denny's restaurant attached if the BW breakfast doesn't fit your needs.

Shop around. The rates here go up on the weekends without notice. Find a place to lock in the quoted rate. Then check your bill. In the last 4 days my credit card has pending charges, then they are gone. The ending bill I got was for $748 and the bill came to $909. Tricky. We won't be back.

We stayed at room 306 for 2 nights visiting NAPA/ CALISTOGA area. The room had a view of the roof of the next building. It had a good size and an usual lay out. They sacrificed the bathroom space for the bedroom. So one is rather small and the other spacious. Everything is in working condition and the bed is comfortable. The location is very good, close to shopping/ restaurant area. I am sure the stay could have been much better when the following areas are taken care of: Front desk could be more friendly. They were not rude but I did not feel welcome. The drainage in the room was too slow, in both the sink and the bathtub. The anti-slip mat in the bath tub was worn out so some places were very slippery. I was scared getting in & out of the tub. The elevator was tiny and dirty. We could not fit the bell cart in order to carry the luggage to the 3rd floor. Modified breakfast had a lot of rooms for improvement. We stayed for 2 days but only took the grab and go breakfast once. We could not eat anything offered in the bag. We left them in our room at check out. We were disappointed with the quality.

Had six folks meeting at Best Western in Napa for a fun weekend of wine tasting. One of the other couple picked out hotel. Great location and great staff..Highly recommend! You can walk to downtown and after dinner it was a nice walk back.

This is my 2nd time staying here for this year <2021>. The property is located near numerous shopping centers and food places. The rooms are verrry clean and the decor and look of the entire room is inviting and comfy.

We planned a relatively short notice Napa trip and wanted to find a decent, yet affordable option than most. The Inn at the Vines definitely fit the bill. Very comfortable beds, nice to have in room coffee, fridge and microwave available. Very close to Downtown Napa, just not walkable like some other locations.

Stayed here for 2 nights (April 1-3, 2021). We arrived from Reno after 3pm and was out into room 225 overlooking the pool area. The room had 2 queen beds but in reality I believe was 2 double beds as 2 people on both beds were tight. But the 4 of us managed to make it work for the 2 nights we were there while visiting Napa & Sonoma Wineries. The only complaint we had was housekeeping, when we arrived back on April 2nd we had to call down to the front desk and ask for 4 wash cloths, 4 hand towels, 4 large towels & someone to empty our trash. The front desk agent never mention to us @ checkin on April 1 that housekeeping are not cleaning stay over rooms. But after an hour wait we finally got our towels placed outside our room in a large black dirty trash bag. Yes someone brought us towels in a dirty trash bag We had to call back down to request clean towels which took another hour till finally some clean towels were delivered that were not placed in a trash bag. Anyhow, we continue on throughout our stay. Would we stay here again? Probably not, the rooms were outdated and the hospitality service was poor. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed one night at the Best Western. It had everything we needed, a comfortable bed, a full length mirror, a dresser for your clothes, a coffee pot, a refrigerator and a microwave. It even had an exercise room and a computer room where we could print our boarding passes for the flight home. We had been staying at a resort. When the reservations were made, we thought that they were for one week, but they turned out to be for six nights. We needed a place to stay for the last night we were going to be in Napa. We found the Best Western, the price was reasonable, and it had a good location, near some stores and restaurants. It worked out well for us. We're glad we stayed there.

Napa is not a budget destination, and while there is a wide range of accommodations, most will make a serious dent in your wallet. Imagine my surprise then to find the Inn at the Vines offering a king-size room with balcony for less than $125/night + tax. Become a Best Western Rewards member and you might even snag additional special offers such as complimentary gift certificates or bonus night stays. The hotel itself is well-kept, the front desk staff courteous and helpful, and our room comfortable, clean, and spacious. I'm not sure if it was all the wine we drank or the cozy bed, but we slept like babies! I like this hotel's location – minutes from Silverado Trail, downtown Napa shopping and restaurants, and close to CA-29 if you are headed to Yountville, Oakville, Rutherford or St Helena wineries. Keep in mind that Soscol Ave is a busy thoroughfare, so request a room near the back of the property. We were in 307 and except for the occasional sound of the icemaker, we didn't hear any noise. Just a note that the balcony construction is somewhat odd in this room in that when seated you only see a wall. Not a problem since the weather was a bit chilly for sitting on the balcony but keep this in mind if you are planning a warm-weather visit (not all rooms have this style of balcony). Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we didn't receive any in-room housekeeping services during our 3-night stay. The front desk was extremely responsive to any requests for trash pickup, clean towels, or basic room supplies. This included delivering a new coffeepot when ours broke. Breakfast was a grab-and-go bag. Overall great value and a great stay!

Great location & super Cute &Comfy decor. We were able to get into the jacuzzi and reserve it just for ourselves for an hour. They also have grab & go breakfast. The balconies in the room were A Huge plus.

We stayed here on 09/11 Friday and checked out on 09/12 Saturday. When we checked in, the front desk lady was very nice and answered all our questions. I'm very disappointed at how the night time front desk person talked to us. We were celebrating a birthday and came back from our dinner at 9pm. Due to covid, there isn't much to do outdoors. Thus we were playing music and dancing inside our room. It was definitely our fault for not noticing that it was already 11pm and we were blasting music. However, we heard a knock on the door and he told us to open our door. Then he said that there were complaints from the rooms next door and downstairs and to keep it down. We apologized and said "of course". What he said next made me furious. He said that he will call the police if we don't keep it down in a very condescending tone. I don't think we need to be threatened for this kind of stuff. This is such a disrespectful way of reminding us to keep it down. I would expect some decent way of giving warnings to customers. We are not staying at your house, we paid for the room and we followed all the regulations. If we had to complain about their services we would not talk to them in that manner. I don't understand how a paying customer has to be threatened instead of some polite warning. There wasn't any room next to us, except a storage room. There was a room across us, that might have complained. Overall, the hotel was fairly empty due to covid and all the fires in CA. Very rude front desk man has definitely ruined our night and will not coming back to be treated like this. Also, I think it is rude to demand us to open the door like we were some sort of criminals hiding from the police. Very disrespectful!!! Absolutely disgusting behavior that I have never experienced at any hotel or resorts.

The inn at the vines is amazing. The staff are polite and helpful and the rooms are extremely clean. It is well located close to freeways for travelling. The front desk and managers are full of information about napa valley and the wineries and very excited to send you to their favorites. I truly hidden gem in Napa for sure

The room was very comfortable, tasteful, and in good condition. We noticed a number of features this Plus hotel had that were not in basic Best Westerns. The large and incredibly soft towels were particularly wonderful. During the Covid-19 restrictions, guests were provided with the choice of several nice, hefty "to go" breakfast bags which included yogurt, pastry, fruit, granola bar, fruit juice, etc. The location is great - close to both Napa and Sonoma Valleys, and directly across the street from a large shopping center with many fast food and family-style restaurants. The staff was very helpful and enjoyable to converse with, and knowledgeable regarding the history and features of the area, and served as a great source of recommendations for places in the area that met our interests and needs. Great visit, despite Covid-19!

If you want a great hotel while visiting Napa this is the place for you. Easy access and near lots of conveniences. Our king room was quite large and well appointed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great value for this area.

The check-in process took too long due to some computer problem. When I got to my room I found a half drank bottle of coke and a half drank bottle of water. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, ridiculous. Fortunately I had sanitizing supplies with me. I have stayed at this hotel approx. 50+ nights over the last 4 months. They use to offer breakfast (up to $10.00 at the Denny's), now a 15% off coupon at Denny's, embarrassing.

The rooms are very spacious, employees are very helpful and professional. The property is very clean and a good location with easy access to shopping, eating and wineries. I was unable to utilize the pool or full breakfast but was still pleased with this property.

a construction project in Napa brought me to Napa for several week at the beginning of 2020, Best western is my go to Hotel chain, and this one was not a disappointment. the rooms were clean, quiet, comfortable and well appointed. There were plenty of restaurants and shops close by. I still have a few more weeks here and look forward to my stay. I may plan a trip in the future with the wife for a getaway.

The room was very spacious, nicely decorated and very clean. Very comfortable bed and the pillows were above average and we had plenty of them. the refrigerator and microwave were great to have. Our friends had the 2 bed room and it was nice as well with lots of room.

My overall experience at this hotel was great. The staff was super friendly, the linens in my room smelled super clean, the atmosphere in the room was great. Vehicles seem to be pretty safe from someone breaking into them.

This hotel was better than think it will be it was very quiet and have a Denny's and they give us some coupons to used to purchase our breakfast it was open 24 hours. The hotel was amazing and staff over rich the expectations.

We stayed at the Best Western Plus for a weekend trip to Napa. It was peak season so all the rooms in town were really expensive, and this was the most reasonable choice. The staff was really friendly and helpful at check-in, and the room was clean. Parking was easy in the nearby lot and the $10 credit for breakfast at Denny's was convenient and a great value. The location is good with quick access to downtown Napa, lots of shopping and not far from the wineries. On the downside, our room was dark and dreary and could use some updating. The walls were really thin - we were right next to the pool and when people were there we could hear everything, like they were in our room. The pool closed at 10 and it got quiet after that. This place could be four or five stars if they updated the noise proofing, probably replacing the old windows would help.

My husband and I came to Napa for three days of wine tasting and stayed at the Best Western at the Vines. Great location for downtown restaurants and right by all the roads that you need to access the vineyards. Our room was clean and the staff were friendly. We were in room 304 which was right next to the access door to enter the third floor from the elevator. Whenever the door opened or closed, it slammed shut and was loud in our room. We thought about asking for a new room, but we never did. It would be great if they added something to this door to make it close slowly as it always slammed shut. Besides that though, our room was great. We went out for breakfast our first two days and then the third day as we were checking out, we noticed they had a light breakfast in the lobby. Wish we would of known the other two days! Oh well! I do recommended this hotel and when we return to Napa, we plan to stay here again as it is a great location for the right price!

We enjoyed a three day wine tasting trip and the room was great. Breakfast at the attached Denny's was a bonus. Large, clean room, fluffy towels, nice amenities. Very quiet considering the location near the highway.

I stayed here on a Thursday night this past week. I upgraded to a room with a balcony. It was very clean, spacious and homey. I appreciate that the halls are key accessible only. The grounds were very kept and maintenance personnel were walking the grounds and cleaning the pool etc. The lady who checked me in at the front desk was very polite and informative. Target and Safeway as well as McDonalds, Taco Bell and other restaurants are right across the street. Down the street is Home Goods, Marshalls and Michaels & Chipotle to name a few. The "breakfast on the go" available in the mornings is simply coffee, yogurts, granola bars and a few bottled juices to choose from. They do however give a 15% coupon for the Dennys attached to the Inn. I was in a hurry so I didn't take advantage of the Dennys coupon. I would have liked a better selection for breakfast - even muffins or bagels for the pricey amount that I paid for the hotel stay (close to $200 for the weekday night); although I never received a receipt in my email for my reservation or for my check out so I am still not sure exactly what I paid when all was said and done. I am hoping that I will receive by tomorrow. Other than that I had a good comfortable stay and would definety stay again. I would for sure stay over night here again.

During our recent visit to NAPA Vally we spent 4 nights at the Best Western Inn at the Vines. It is a very comfortable and friendly Inn centrally located in southern NAPA convenient to just about everything. We got especially lucky when PG&E decided to cut off electricity to 800K customers in the the area, but The BWIATP did not lose electricity - so we stayed cool & comfortable. We would highly recommend this property to anyone planning a visit to wine country ion NAPA, CA.

Being At The Vines is always a great experience. It is easy access and has many places near by to eat. Vineyards are also easy to get to. Traveling for business, I can always count on a clean and safe room!

If visiting the Napa and simply want to stay in a really good hotel that offers great value then don't go past this one. Large spacious rooms with a private balcony to relax on. Has a spa pool , swimming pool and free parking. Great location.

This whole Napa Valley area is pretty high priced. This facility is also high in price, but not as bad as the other places I checked on in this area. It's very clean and a nice location. The rooms are nice and comfortable. Good bed. Thye give you a voucher to use in the restaurant for breakfast and the breakfast was good except that the waffles were not hot - butter wouldn't melt.

We found this inn to be very clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Although this particular inn does not have a breakfast, they do provide some grab and go items, which was very helpful to us. And the coffee was actually pretty good. We would recommend this Best Western as a relatively well-priced place to stay in the Napa area.

Amanda greeted us at the desk when we arrived early for our 7/29/19 stay. She was very polite and helpful and gave us tips on visiting Napa wineries. She also helped us get into one of the two rooms I reserved early. She was a great host and it was appreciated. The rooms were clean and had everything that was needed. The pool was not large but I was there to cool off rather than swimming laps so it hit the spot after a day in the hot sun. I would stay there again.

We had a full power outage in our home due to a circuit breaker issue and it was going to take several days to get it repaired. It was especially hot so I booked a room at the Best Western Inn at the Vines in Napa for two nights for my husband and me. "Toni" was very understanding about what we were going through and couldn't have been sweeter. Her little extra steps to make us feel special were really appreciated during this stressful time.

This is the perfect location in the Napa and Sonoma area, almost right in the middle. It is Clean, easy to get to and friendly staff. The value was very good as well. We were very happy with our stay - the staff, especially Deena and Nicole, went out of their way to assist us. It's the little details that can often make or break a trip and Best Western has it altogether. Big, clean rooms and spotless bathroom. Towels and sheets in perfect condition. Great hotels and atmosphere. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Sonoma Krug check in was a little bit of a hassle due to staffing issues but the Ladies were quick to accommodate and get me settled in. Napa was great! I got the room I needed and they were able to accommodate my arrival timeline as expected.

Back up in Wine Country, and even with all the new hotels that have been built since last time I was here, I still decided to stay at the Best Western Inn at the Vines. The rooms are always superbly clean!!! Staff are you kidding me??? This isn't your normal staff I would call them family not staff! Everyone goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is enjoyable! We usually stay in downtown Napa, either at the Andaz or Embassy Suites. Because we had a rental car, we tried this place. Very pleasantly surprised with the comfort and locale. Close to In and Out Burger !! We do realize that the cost was lower, 750 for three nights, due to it being early May, a bit off season. Probably too far of a walk into downtown in the evenings after a day of wine tastings, but there's always Uber. Would stay there again.Nice place for the money !!

Perfect location at the intersection of the 112 and 29 for quick access to Sonoma and St. Helen. Also, very close to the downtown Riverwalk shopping and great eats! The hotel is modest in surroundings and amenities and the 80 degree pool and 104 degree jacuz was a plus AND quite ideally situated for day trips that are all within 20-30 minutes away. P.S. the bed was super soft! Very nice!

Got invited to Napa at the last minute and needed an affordable place to stay. It was Clean, comfortable & but still a 9.50 uber ride to shops. Room 101 was noisy but would stay again & try diff room.

The location is great. It is next to casual dinning,a Target, Rite Aid and a grocery store if you forgot something or need to grab a snack or quick meal. Room was roomy and clean. It looked very up to date. Staff was friendly and helpful. Easy to get on either 29 or Silverado. I would definitely recommend and stay here again

Everything you could want in a place to stay for a great price. The rooms are clean and roomy. The staff is always fantastic and you can't beat the price for what you get - especially for Napa! We've stayed here twice with our teenagers and have been very happy with our stay.

Stay here whenever visiting wine country. Among the lowest cost with 5 star cleanliness, service, hospitality and free breakfast for BW membership (free). Desk staff great with 2 for 1 tastings, bottled water and a sincere desire to make your stay trouble-free. Downtown area has great food and close to all major arteries to visit each of the wine regions.

Checkin was great, check out was good, the lady on the left register at checkout could care less. Denny's has good ood selections. Area was nice and amenities were plenty. 1.5 miles from the Napa wine train!

Room was clean and decent condition. Close to downtown Napa. However, a little far from Yountville and north, Not to bad for Silverado Trail. Staff was very nice. The included breakfast wa sat the next door Denny's.

This was one of the best hotels we have visited for sometime. Clean, great service, right price which included breakfast at Dennys. All the rooms were conveniently located around the hot tub and pool area. The location was great because we were surrounded by stories and places to eat. All walking distance to our room. We will be back.

We stayed here for 4 days with a large group celebrating a friends 50th birthday and they could not have been more accommodating. Shopping and food were within walking distance and the city of Napa was a few short miles away. The front desk staff even called a car service to take our large group to dinner and karaoke. Breakfast at the attached Denny's was included with the stay and was very good as well. Would recommend this place.

We booked 2 nights here and had nothing to complain about. The rooms were warm and comfy with a spacious carpark. There was a coin operated laundry which certainly helped. The complimentary breakfast at Denny's was substantial with many choices. This hotel is a close driving distance from the town centre. The Napa Valley town centre has lots to offer with great dining options. The Wine Train and Castle tour we booked was great too. Overall, a nice pleasant experience indeed.

Pro's: Great Denny's Breakfast included! Location is good, walk to fast food, supermarket, close to everything. Con's: Hotel is getting OLD. They are updating it, (construction noise), but near 1/3 of the rooms face the pool (noise), and 2/3rds face parking lots and busy streets (noise). Rooms are ok, but beds are hard, and old. TV's were limited to 35% max volume, (almost hard to hear) yet we could hear our neighbors TV through the wall. Bathroom fan is a joke - spins bad air around in bathroom, does not vent to outside - poof your whole room eventually smells like a bathroom! (Open a window - quick!). You can hear your neighbors bathroom fan - also! They have the most stupid "modern art" on the walls - hello, your in the beautiful Napa Valley - put valley photos on the walls - duh!!! Elevator was out of order "due to construction". They need to drop the room price - to make this worth a repeat visit for us.

Everyone at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The decor was pleasant. Breakfast was served at Denny's next door and the food was good and plentiful. The only problem was that the Internet was inconsistent.

Best Western Inn at the Vines is near all amenities Napa offers and central to all the country roads where wineries are located. The rooms are lovely, and comfortable, the bathrooms are kept spotless.

The property is very convenient in regards to the areas attractions. No frills, quality room. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place to sleep after visiting the local fare. Lobby is quite small with only one table, so if you need a group setting to close out the evening you'll have to get real cozy.

We stayed a couple of nights at this hotel in a business area of southern Napa. It is located on the busy Imola street. Our room was quiet, large and comfortable. It is on the street that becomes Silverado Trail a few miles north with access to wineries. It isn't within easy walking distance to wineries, pubs or other restaurants. Really enjoyed the complimentary vouchers to Denny's next door for breakfast.

Well, I guess that no oyster is without it's grain of sand. My advice is, for all of you ladies who are married, yet chose to retain your maiden name on your ID, you had better change it to your husband's, if it does not match your credit cards. I had booked and paid for 2 nights at the Best Western Plus, a couple of months before, in the happy anticipation of going to the Safeway Open, with my long time friends. Upon arrival, I presented my credit card, and ID, and I almost thought that the young woman who was the concierge, was not going to give me a room !!! 3 very tense minutes passed, as I explained to her, that I am married, and thus, I had two last names ! I almost thought that I should have called the credit card company, to verify my address. After the uncomfortable silence, She rather imperiously informed me that she would grant me a room, which made me feel like she was some queen, --- talking down, - to me,--- the lowly subject. Some of my happiness of arrival was taken away, and I felt a bit unwelcome. Well, I got my key, (hard earned), and went up to my room. Security to get into the hallway, and then, to the room. I did like that. Once in the room, It was better than I had expected ! Well-appointed, large, nice colors, very clean, and up-dated. Quiet, and everything that I could want. It was worth the fight, to get past the concierge. I have stayed at 10 hotels in the the past year, and this is the first time that I have encountered such a upsetting happening. But, I calmed down, and had a marvelous 2 days with my friends, and resting, at the Best Western Plus, at the Vines. I would return, but next time, armed with a permission note, from my husband !

Our room was large and clean. The staff were so friendly. They helped us decide on which wine tastings to do in Downtown Napa and even provided some 2 for 1 vouchers. We joined the rewards program (free) and received free breakfasts at Denny's next door. Its about a 30 minute walk to Downtown, we caught an Uber there and walked home. It wasn't far to drive to Calistoga where we went to some great wineries.

Stayed 09/11/2018-09/18/2018. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool and spa area was kept up nicely. Housekeeping staff was prompt and efficient. The evening crowds at the pool can get rather loud at times, but always seemed to quiet down when the pool closed at 10PM. Also having the restaurant next door with free breakfast was definitely a plus. Overall, My wife and I would make it a point to stay here again on our next trip to the Napa area. Nice "budget" hotel for Napa Valley. Check in was friendly.. Rooms are nice, fast wifi. Clean and comfortable, if your a rewards member free breakfast at Dennys next door. We have stayed at this hotel many times about 10 years ago. This was our first stay in a long time. They have totally updated and remodeled. What an improvement. Great value and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Napa.

The rooms here are very nice, good views, good location. The true highlight was the staff. Upon check in they welcomed us warmly, were able to move us to higher floor with no complaints and really made us feel like they wanted us to be there. Thank you and we will return!

the hotel is a bit outside the town we arrived at 4pm ask the lady at reception to recommend a winery to visit ( they close st 5pm and we knew. We would only get to one), she recommend artesa , I would like to say a big thank you but back to the hotel, . the room was big and spacious bed comfortable .. outside there is a small pool and a hot tub , what a great surprise , relaxing in a hot tub after all the days traveling .. wonderful .

I was attending a meeting in Napa over Labor Day weekend. This hotel was in my budget after the entire region was totally booked out or charging $500-600 per night for regular hotel rooms. This was a little bit out of town but it was a quick Uber ride to anywhere we needed to go. The room was spacious and comfortable. The towels were fluffy and nice too. We got some certificates for breakfast at the Denny's next door, but the hotel lobby also provided coffee and snacks which were just fine. I would stay here again if budget required me to find less expensive accommodations in Napa.

stayed here on a weekend layover. the hotel is more then fine, the rooms clean and quiet. this a very reasonable place to be and sleep. the location (nearly) on Silverado Trail is perfect. you are quick near many wineries. also nice, after a day of activity, in the evening you can go by foot to a Sports Bar or great Pizza restaurant (the Forge) so evening drinking is perfect without driving !!

When we arrived, the staff were very friendly. We had a tiny room on the ground floor with a small bed. We decided to take an upgrade to a lovely and large room on a higher floor with a terrace. It took us some time to get this, but we were very happy with our new big room. We could have breakfast at the Denny's next door. The hotel also had a small swimming pool and a hot tub but when we were there it was too cold to use it. We took the car to Napa and from the hotel we also took a tour around the wineries.

We stayed at Inn at the Vines for one night prior to our flight out of San Francisco the next morning. It's about 1 1/2 hours from SFO and it's worth getting up a little earlier to avoid San Francisco's overpriced lodging. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are clean and nicely decorated. They provide a free breakfast at the Denny's attached to the hotel. The corridors can only be accessed if you are a guest with a key. We felt safe. It is also very convenient as there are several restaurants and a Target across the street. Vineyards are close by, which is a plus if you're visiting Napa for the wineries. We'll definitely return!

Great place to stay! The location is nice and quiet and the suite we stayed in was very spacious. Probably the best room we had on our whole week traveling the coast of CA. Staff was very pleasant and there is also a pool and hot tub!

I was impressed by the size of the room as there was ample space for 3 of us to share. The balcony was great for when our infant had gone to bed so we could enjoy a drink outside. The complimentary breakfast was fine to keep us going until we went into town for something more substantial. We had yoghurts, granola bars, juice, coffee and fruit. Check in and out was quick and easy. We walked into town from the hotel - it is doable but not overly pleasant along the main road. Shops and chain restaurants all across the road if that's what you want. Location was convenient and hotel room was good. Happy to have stayed here.

My friends and I stayed at this Best Western for Bottlerock weekend in Napa. They did require the full 4 night minimum stay, which was fine for us. Because it was Bottlerock weekend, prices for rooms were completely inflated. The hotel was very conveniently located across the street from an In-n-out, Taco Bell, McDonalds, and a Target. Also, it was less than 2 miles and a quick uber ride over to the Bottlerock venue. A nice surprise was they offered free breakfast for us at the Denny's, which was attached to the hotel. The staff was super nice and helpful and the rooms/property are in good condition. The hotel is located at a busy intersection so I could hear a lot of traffic.

A basic hotel in the area. A bit remote from some of the wineries but definitely one to consider for a quick stay. Rooms clean and fairly large (except bathrooms which have sink outside of shower area). Very basic breakfast of juices, snack bar and fruit. Denny's next door and iHOP a 5 minute walk. Lots of fast food options and shopping nearby.

Close to the river with shops and restaurants. Uber/taxi over and enjoy yourself for the night. They used to have a great full breakfast included but now it costs $16-bummer. Staff is helpful and polite. You are 10 minutes to downtown Napa.

Dining table for cards or meals and you have your own space upstairs with a TV on both floors. Well located but not walking distance to downtown.I dont get the reviews about car noise. But it is near a busy intersection. Slept fine. If you are here for a place in the evening after wine tasing its great!! We were here for BottleRock and it was perfect. Take Lyft for a quick ride downtown. Only down side was a slightly uncomfortable sofa pull out bed. Kids did not even notice. Lots of pillows. Great staff.

We stayed at the Best Western Plus during our long weekend trip to Napa. It was perfectly fine for what we needed, a place to sleep after touring wineries! The room was very clean. We were on the second floor by the pool (not sure if all rooms face the pool) and it was good. Only had one instance where a group of loud girls were in the pool area and it was definitely loud in our room, but thankfully it didn't last long. Overall a quiet place. Got vouchers for Denny's next door, easy and fast breakfast before our days. I saw some reviews mentioning traffic due to the location, but it was always an easy in/out for us. Would definitely stay again if in the area, since it's a great place to rest after a busy day!

Our stay was perfect. The room was immaculate and location was great.The people at the front desk were so accommodating and helpful.We arrived early and they got us a room before check in time.They gave helpful restaurant choices as well!!

Inn at the Vines is always a great stay in Napa Vallley. Good rooms and nice, friendly employees make this a wonderful stay. Great price/value! We don't use the free breakfast at Denny's but still nice that is included. Good location for visiting wine country.

I was expecting it to be a little nicer, it is an older property for sure. It got the job done and wasn't too expensive. The road it is off of, Imola, was always very busy, so when would try to enter or exit the parking lot, there was a long line of cars we had to wait in on that street. Our room also had a weird smell to it every time we came back. No breakfast, just light snacks. Overall, it was fine, but if I went back to Napa I would look somewhere else.

We went to Napa Valley for a couples weekend and booked here because of the price, location and the fact we're BW members. It was everything we wanted and included a breakfast at Denny's (next door) which is much better than the typical breakfast served by hotels. We all agreed the hotel met all our expectations as it had large clean rooms, well appointed, free wi-fi, comfortable bed and chairs. Overall, a great value.

A huge thank you to Nicole, who was super efficient in finding a group of badly prepared friends, Wineries that stay open after 4pm at 15h50!!!! She was not phased at all, went online and found some AMAZING options within 10 minutes drive from the hotel. This is the hotel you want to stay in if you want to visit wineries that are still open after 4pm. The hotel rooms were huge with loads of space and big beds. More importantly there is a hot tub and pool that closes at 10pm. So after a day in the sun, it is a fantastic option. The hotel has a Denny's attached but also an iHOP within 2 minutes walk across the road. However, the hotel offers a substantial breakfast 'snack' of yogurt, cereal bars, fruit, tea, coffee and juice. Again, thank you Nicole for your professionalism, beautiful smile and calm approach!

Very nice little hotel with all you will need. I just don't quite get the shape of it from the outside. Awesome staff, very clean and quiet for being right on an intersection. The pool is tiny but you probably don't need anything bigger and the the kids who were in it seemed to be having a great time.

OK I'm a bit of a hotel snob, we ended up here more out of availability than choice. BUT, I would come back! Very good service, very nice room, convenient setup, snacks in the lobby, Denny's attached, very nice workout room, on and on. The assistant manager went out of her way to help us shipping wine back despite having missed the time to confirm it before we had to leave. Really like the location. The exterior doesn't look wonderful, but it's a first class stay, we really enjoyed it!

Hotel is a nice place to stay but the past few times I've stayed here there's some kind of construction going on. Rates should be lowered during this, but aren't. Parking gets limited with all the construction equipment and vehicles.

My wife and I stayed at the BW Inn at the Vines in Room 315, February 9-11, 2018. We spent the weekend wine tasting throughout the Napa Valley. Overall, we were pleased with our stay and would return. PROS: 1) Our room was both well furnished and very clean. It had a king-sized bed, which was comfortable. There was an easy chair and ottoman for watching TV or reading. The room also came equipped with a mini-refrigerator and a microwave oven. 2) The BW Inn at the Vines is also conveniently located on a major North/South artery through the city of Napa (Soscol Ave.) which makes the property close to the restaurants and bars of Downtown Napa and also makes for quick access to the wineries along the eastern side of the Napa Valley, by way of the Silverado Trail. 3) We had booked this property through the Best Western web site using the AAA discount. This property was a better value than most of the other available properties in the Napa Valley for the weekend that we stayed. By no means is this property a resort, however, when I come to the Napa Valley, I want to spend my time drinking great wine and eating great food and am not interested in spending time much time where I stay. 4) Free breakfast is provided at the adjacent Denny's restaurant. When you check into the hotel, you will receive breakfast coupons. When you go to Denny's, ask for the Best Western menu and you can pick three items off the menu (for example, 2 eggs cooked to order, pork sausage and pancakes) and then also receive your choice of bread (toast or English muffin) and your choice of a drink all for free. If you prefer, you can instead order from Denny's own menu and get $8 off your order per person. 5) Friendly staff. CONS: 1) The pool and hot tub are undergoing remodeling and so they are closed. If you are planning a visit in the Spring or Summer of 2018, I would contact the hotel to find out if they will be open. Also, the lobby is currently closed for remodeling, however there is a well-marked temporary check in facility next to the parking lot. TIPS: 1) Obviously, there are many great wineries to tour in the Napa Valley and we visited about 12 on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday we visited. We especially loved the facility tour and wine tasting at the William Hill Winery in Napa and the wine tasting on the outdoor patio at the Elizabeth Spencer Winery in Rutherford. 2) Great restaurants also abound in Napa Valley. We enjoyed our dinners at Ristorante Allegria (Italian food served in a renovated 100 year old bank building) and La Taberna (Spanish tapas). Both are in Downtown Napa and an easy drive from the BW Inn at the Vines. 3) The Oxbow Public Market is also an easy drive from the hotel. This is a great spot for lunch with many different restaurants and shops located under the same roof.

Good looking hotel,nice location and helpful Reception staff. Rooms are little small. Breakfasts are very tasty,freshly made food and excellent choice of range I made a mistake with location,too far out to walk to the downtown A good sleep,but views limited.

The room was comfortable and modern. The hotel was located on a busy corner but we never heard traffic noise, even sirens. But we could hear the guests above us talking at normal volume and walking around. Luckily they did not stay up late and we slept well.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Napa, CA. I had a wonderful experience staying for one night at this hotel. The only thing that I wished was that it would be cheaper. It was a little pricey for me.

This hotel overall is a great place to stay. It is located with in a 10 mile radius of other competing hotels charging almost twice as much for comparable amenities. It has a Denny's located next to it for convenience. There is a separate pool and spa area, and there are a variety of rooms and suites available. I travel every week for work, and out of the 40plus Best Westerns I have stayed at, this location is one of the top 10 on my personal list. This is based on its Location, amenities, customer service, value, and overall cleanliness.

Clean, convenient, friendly staff, very affordable for the area. Good wi fi, next to a Denny's for breakfast (they used to include a coupon, but don't anymore.) Adequate parking. Good location for moving quickly either into town or along Silverado Trail. You don't have to get stuck in rush hour traffic. Right next to a shopping center if you need anything.

Kind staff, very accomidating. Rooms very basic, but nice and clean. Pretty close to wineries, which was nice. Fitness center was a little lacking, but there is a great running trail nearby! Would stay here again.

This hotel in the heart of Napa is the best. The grounds & gardens are well cared for & the pool & spa is a great area to relax in. There is gym & laundry facilities available. The rooms are very spacious & very comfortable beds. The staff are kind & helpful & were always available to support in any way they could. We booked to stay for a week during the month of October at the time of the Napa fires. Our stay was cut short & we had evacuate to a safer area close to San Francisco Bay. Bridgette & her team of staff displayed wonderful qualities of human kindness during such extraordinary circumstances relating to the fires in the surrounding Napa areas. This hotel was average, the rooms were well appointed, beds comfortable. However, it was further away from downtown Napa than we realized and in an area with a lot of businesses. Would stay closer to downtown next time.

Our room was clean and available early which was nice. All of the employees were friendly and helpful. This is our go to hotel when staying in Napa. This hotel is not far from down town and other shopping areas. It's a short car ride or a nice walk.

Trip to see Napa, go to the Model Bakery for their famous English Muffins which were sold out when we got there, and ride the Wine Train. Best Western Hotels are clean with comfortable beds. This Hotel offered a Cheese and wine gathering the night we stayed, however we don't drink and therefore opted out.

This hotel is significantly overpriced in my opinion. It is poorly located with a loud air conditioner in the room that woke me up several times during the night and the hotel has few amenities. Very Very Poor in my opinion and I would never ever stay there again.

Check in was a nightmare despite having confirmations. It took my coworker almost two hours of pleading with them to get a room despite having a confirmation for that night. Some Best Westerns try to find an excuse to not give me reward points. It took a few conversations with the staff but I'm still not sure I got any points for my stay. Internet was much slower than I have experienced in other hotels.

Good size room very clean and everything worked. TV, Internet, mini-fridge. The bed was very comfortable and had lots of pillows. The towels were soft (a big plus). Noise level was next to none, very quiet and pleasant. Location of the hotel to downtown Napa is just a few miles (non-highway). Based on location, price and accommodations i would stay here again and recommend to others.

My 93 year old mother and caregiver were evacuated due to the fires. This Best Western made every accommodation to make them welcome and comfortable. They did NOT jack the rates up knowing there would be hundreds of people looking for a place to stay. They did NOT charge extra for leaving sooner than expected. They behaved as compassionately as possible.

Good location in Napa right next to a Denny's where you get a free voucher for breakfast. The breakfast was more than enough and the rooms are clean and large. The staff members were very helpful when the fires in Napa broke out. They gave us a refund and info as to what was going on and how to evacuate. They were professional.

The room was so noisy we could hear every footstep from the people above, every toilet flush and every shower that they took. Winetasting in the courtyard was very loud and folks stayed after the winetasting drinking until the wee hours of the night . Staff was not willing to quiet them nor even leave the front desk to talk to them. Breakfast items in the morning we're not replenished hot water was out replaced with warm water not useful at all . Rumors of free vouchers to Denny's never appeared .This was not a cheap property I do not feel I got my moneys worth I could've stayed at a motel eight or six for equivalent value

We came for the Safeway Open concert series (Gavin Degraw). The hotel was clean, accommodating, and great location. Uber friendly. It comes with breakfast vouchers for denny's. Hiking trails (Skyline Park) close by. Great hotel.

I require a handicap accessible room because I am a paraplegic. Usually I find ADA rooms scary because they fit the letter of the ADA laws, but not usually accessible to someone who cannot stand or walk. I had a wonderful experience. Although I was only there for 2 nights, the room was fully functional for me and even taking a shower was almost as easy as home. I definitely will stay here again when I return to the beautiful Napa Valley.

This Best Western offers a comfortable, clean hotel in a very convenient location. The room was extremely clean with a very comfortable bed. The front desk staff was wonderful offering us excellent advice on choices of wineries to visit. There is a Denny's on site which was great for a quick lunch. Downtown Napa was less than a mile away offering a wide variety of restaurants.

Other than no wake up call on departure date as requested...had a good stay. The breakfasts and service at on site restaurant Denny's was very good. Hotel offered 3rd party service to ship wines home, although there was mixed information between desk attendants.

Couldn't say enough great things about the folks who run this place! Best Best Western I've ever stayed at! This has become my hotel of choice in Napa. I'll be back every year.and have recommended it to all of my colleagues. They have excellent connections with tour guides and specialty wineries. Our visit to MadoroM was better than the best known places in the valley..Thank you for treating us like family. It made the business trip feel like a vacation!

Rooms were nice, but expensive!! Staff was friendlu]y, and gave good directions for dinner. Location was good for passing thru for the night. Nice grocery store across Street. If you need a rental car, Do not use the Avis car rental in NAPA, very bad experience, poor service.

We were surprised at the good size of the room and everything was very clean and in good working condition. The staff here go out of their way to help. I forgot to get the name of the lady who checked us in - she was the most charming person ever!! Breakfast at the adjoining Denny's is always a hit!!

My husband and I enjoyed this property with the exception of middle of the night noise on our hallway. Not the hotel's fault, but disturbing nonetheless; walls must be thin. Breakfast at the adjoining Denny's very good.

The hotel might look pricy compared to how it looks outside but it is totally worth its price. Service is great, close to a few domain so you can get a cheap uber course and enjoy your glass of wine. The facility also has a swimming pool which is very enjoyable to "recover" from the day. the facility.

This Best Western on Soscol Avenue in Napa was beautiful, clean, and close to all attractions. The pool is an added touch! An all around good stay! I'm glad I traveled far to have this experience. It's a relaxing neighborhood and a great place to enjoy a weekend.

Very nice updated motel with a very small pool and hot tub. Location is good - close to stores and restaurants. I imagine the price reflects the area as we found it a little pricey but the room was clean and the beds were comfy

My friend and I were traveling to Napa for the first time and wanted a hotel that wouldn't break the bank. This Best Western ended up being perfect - not too expensive, spacious rooms, about 7 minutes from downtown Napa, free wine tastings and free parking! We stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days, had great service from the employees and would happily return again!

I was impressed by the value of the hotel. It was very clean and towels were new and fluffy. There was a small breakfast snack bar and coffee/tea in the mornings. The hotel was conveniently located next to a lot of restaurants and not too far from the vineyards.

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western. The room was fine, not spectacular, but the staff was really great. We had arrived early and they were very helpful, concerned, and accommodating, even though we had to wait a little. (But there's a Target across the street, so we walked over to pick up some stuff.) They had a nice little pre-dinner wine tasting, and the free breakfast at the adjacent Denny's provided plenty of choices. The hotel is about a mile from downtown Napa. We walked into town for dinner, then Ubered back (about a $7-8 fare for a Friday night.)

Paid close to $300 for a room on Saturday for which they get $140 during the week for a very average room. When I contacted manager about price he said that was comparable with others in the area, which is not true.

This is consistency a good hotel to stay while in Napa. But you generally have to book almost a month in advance. The two day I stayed was very good, no noise, breakfast is a perk if you like Denny's,. The staff at the hotel as always been top notch. I would recommend this hotel to any one going to Napa.

We had a wine dinner at a local winery so we knew we didn't want to drive - we checked into this hotel and took an Uber. The staff at this hotel were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. We've stayed her before and will definitely do so again!!!

The staff are incredible here. Sue and Miranda are AMAZING!!! They were our special Angels. From the moment we arrived they were happy and excited for our first trip to Napa. They were so beautiful in their professional uniforms. They were so helpful and kind. When we came back from tours they set up for us they would run out and greet us after to see how it went. When we had an issue with our room they made it better for us and treated us to a little gift bag of goodies. Never have I had such over and above customer service in my life. Wonderful stay! We would not be back for the hotel. Although the rooms were not our style they were very clean and I would recommend people stay. Out dated and slightly overpriced rooms and sketchy clientele that were loud and partiers made it less than enjoyable for our taste. (we have been called snobs before). We wanted a relaxing Napa resort type place to visit. But the staff were so amazing we might consider staying again!

If you want a place very close to downtown Napa, that is clean, and has helpful staff, stay here! My best friend and I went to Napa to of course taste the wines and eat our way through town. This hotel is a 5 min drive into downtown Napa and the Oxbow market (which is a must to go!). This hotel is also close the major wineries only being 20-30 minute max of a drive if you have a rental car! If you are not driving, the hotel offers a town car service with a discount. Further the staff (especially Miranda), can reserve dinner reservations and offer you discounts at some of the top restaurants. Amazing food recommendations! The room was also very clean, and was cleaned every day (at your choice). There is a Denny's on site (did not use), pool/hot tub, and exercise. Free in-room wifi!

Great location for us with family. There is a really nice exercise room, laundry, pool and business office. Coffee and tea are in the room with a fridge. The staff are friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a prepared breakfast which I prefer rather than the carb load at some Best Westerns.

BW Inn at the Vines is a good choice if you are visiting Napa/Sonoma area. Both are easily accessible from this location. The free breakfast at Denny's next door was better than anticipated. The hotel staff were very cheerful, friendly and helpful. Everyone went out of their way to ensure a pleasant experience. The only downside is that the first floor rooms are a bit noisy - you can hear the footsteps from the second floor rooms. Overall a great experience and I would stay here again.

This hotel is perfectly located for a stay in the Napa Valley. The rooms are large and comfortable. There is a very nice pool for relaxing, fitness center and laundry room. The staff went out of their way to ascertain that we knew of good restaurants and nice taxis to enjoy our stay.

I have to admit I was hesitant to book the Best Western, but I'm glad I did. The room was very comfortable and large. The location to downtown Napa was excellent, just a short 5 minute drive (if that). The breakfast vouchers for the Denny's next door was a great value, as well. I also appreciated the information provided by the front desk staff upon check in, giving us maps and recommendations for the best places to visit.

This was a nice Best Western. We were allowed to check in early. The free breakfast was the best of any hotel I have ever visited because we could choose items of the Denny's menu. There was ample parking with shopping and dining across the street

We are frequent travelers to Napa -- not for the wine, but to see children and grandchildren. We have stayed here many times. The hotel is always clean. The staff are professional and go above and beyond my expectations, including trying to help me find another place to stay when they are sold out. The prices are at the low-to-moderate end for Napa hotels. This is one of our two go-to hotels when we travel to Napa. This hotel is perfect for those who want to visit the area and want a hotel to provide a good place to sleep.

The rooms were good, believe a little high price compared to other parts of the country. However, a good price for Napa Valley. Location, Location, Location!! Once you found the location it wasn't that bad to travel around the area. Good place to lay your head down for the night.

Stayed in Napa for 3 days in June. Weather was amazing which meant we could make full use of the pool after days out visiting vineyards. The hotel staff were extremely helpful in recommending places to eat and the hotel was conveniently located for everything that we had planned and the rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast at Denny's was exactly what we needed. A great stay all round.

Located on a corner, the hotel has a back entrance on one street as well as the front entrance on the lobby side of the facility. Front desk staff were very eager to share information about restaurants, shopping, and other attractions. The room was thoroughly cleaned every day. The a/c was left at the temperature we had set it on. Other than the Denny's next door, there are no restaurants within easy walking distance. Some fast food places are a couple blocks away.

The hotel stay was okay nothing special really. I think since I've stayed at other best western plus I expected a little more then what I received. I personally wouldn't want to be tied to a Denny's restaurant that's clearly in need of some major help. Also my room was placed next to it so if I wanted to open window I was forced to smell the food being right below. Last little incident was the toilet paper holder falling apart lol. I just left it alone. See pics. Overall wouldn't come back. But in the end was an ok stay. P.s. I did appreciate the birthday gesture.

We stayed at this hotel for four nights. It's easy to find, at the intersection of two good roads for going downtown or on winery tours and has nice clear rooms. A Denny's is attached. I highly recommend it for stay on winery tours. Also has washing machines and dryers.

The maids were very helpful & room was excellent! Melinda at the front desk was terrific too! As I had stated I needed to check in earlier than 4pm mu room wasn't ready & I had to wait an hour and a half.

This hotel is a great value for this area and close to most restaurants and stores. Also close to many wineries and to the Napa Valley Wine Train. Rooms were comfortable and quiet and the staff was very friendly and excellent.

We've stayed at this hotel for the last 4 years to attend the Napa Valley Jazz Getaway. Always a good experience. Great stay, attentive staff and nice treat to have free breakfast at Denny's! Will stay there again.

The main reason we paid the high dollar price was because we were part of a wedding party. I have stayed in much newer/ modern type places for much less $! I feel like the service was ok- it's just an older hotel with a modern rate!

This is a good location near downtown Napa and Silverado Trail. The Denny's is right there so we had a nice breakfast. Overall pretty quiet considering it's near a busy intersection, but did hear someone upstairs from us stomping around.

we choose this Best Western every time we come to Napa. It is located perfectly for us and the rooms are clean, spacious, and easy to stay and sleep in. We recommend it to friends as well. This is a great value in Napa.

Even though we were told that all rooms had been renovated in the past year, this hotel has a very dated look and feel inside and out. Noise level was also an issue even though I had expressed that I am "noise sensitve" when making the reservation. They did rectify this by "comping" us for one night but we lost almost a full nights sleep because we could hear loud snoring through the walls and car and motorcycle noise from the street. Also, we chose this because we were told it was a walk into town of 1.5 miles, however, the walk is primarily on a main road and not at all pleasant. It was clean and staff is pleasant, but did not meet our expectation.

Hotel is well situated with restaurant options and a shopping area across the street. We were welcomed at check-in. Room was quite spacious and overlooked the pool and very comfortable. They have an interesting arrangement with the Denny's that is attached for a free breakfast, which was nice. Used the guest laundry which was good. Good experience.

The hotel is located in the center downtown of Napa. It is facing the appies restaurant and the shopping quater. Front desk staff are very helpful. Room are spaciuos and clean. The bed is soft and very comfort. Breakfast is very good. All hotel staff are helpful and friendly.

This hotel is in a great location, near shopping and downtown. The employees were friendly and helpful. The rooms are ok, there is an attached Dennys. Be sure to ask for the third floor for a quieter stay.

We did enjoy our stay here, front desk staff are super! Very knowledgeable of surrounding area and great recommendations. Only down side was hotel is quite a distance from 1st street which seems to be where a lot of entertainment is.

Inn at the Vines started out with an outstanding woman Darby. C she greeted us after thirteen hours on the road with a smile, fast checking and bottles of cold juice. The beds were excellent,the room clean.

Best Western did not disappoint me this time (unlike my stay with them in Palawan). Everything was up to par. The service efficient, common areas odor-free, the rooms clean and spacious, and the location convenient.

The suite was wonderful for a family of 4 . The pool was disgustingly gross and dirty . It wasn't heated. There were bugs and mosquitoes hanging out in the pool. I wouldn't even let my kids swim in it. The hot tub wasn't turned on and was dirty as well.

Hotel is located in southern Napa valley with easy access to Silverado Trail or Highway 29 to Wineries. It has spacious rooms with added bonus of breakfast available next door at the Denny's restaurant.

We stayed in Napa in easterweekend and had a lovely time there. The hotel is very nice, big rooms close to the center. The best of all was that the hotel offer winetasting and it was amazing to join this experience. Great time. Napa is a wonderful place to visit, and this hotel was perfect for our stay.

The staff here knew it was our 1 year anniversary so upon check in to our room they had made swans out of towels on the bed and had chocolates surrounding it with a nice card! So thoughtful! In a good location also, multiple restaraunts and shopping close by. Definitely recommend staying here.

This hotel on the outskirts of Napa Valley provided an excellent base to tour this area. The staff were excellent and provided us with a lot of local information and recommendations for our specific requests. They provided us with a lot of options for our stay and were so friendly and informative. We would recommend this hotel purely on the standard of the reception staff.

Nice Hotel. Clean and quiet. Staff is very nice and helpful. The hotel sits at the gateway to wine country so you have a lot of choices in the morning when you set out to the vineyards. I have stayed here before and will stay again.

Amazing Dtaff. Super clean room. Awesome mattress!! We were originally going to stay 1 night only, but we made it late to Napa so we decided to add another night. The lady at the front desk (I'm horrible with names) was amazing and even got us the 2nd night for the same price as pur 1st. The hotel was close to downtown Napa, and we got some pointers and ideas from the front desk as well as to where to go. The room was really nice and clean, the mattress was just amazing. Bet 2 nights we've slept in a while so much so we're looking to buy a new mattress, same brand as this one. Definitely worth it. Not too expensive.

Good value for money to visit Napa, convenience to highway, restaurants and shopping. 5 minutes to Napa town for a short drive to great restaurants there and the highway 29 to start the vineyards visits.

It was comfortable and quiet and clean. Only stayed one night. Just a few things had to be adjusted light the in the bathroom didnt work but they came and changed it out and a little hard time getting connected to the internet at first. But overall nice hotel.

This hotel is close to downtown Napa and the Wine train. Parking is free and plentiful and the hotel is clean and comfortable. The free breakfast is served made to order at the Denny's next door attached to the hotel by a short sidewalk. I am the type of person who has high expectations when I'm an a paying guest. I will adjust my expectations based on the price of the venue. This hotel exceeded my expectations.

Outside of city limits. It's an older hotel with a Dennys next door. We had a queen room & it was spacious.Nice TV with a desk. Sink separate from the bathroom. The room was approx 16ft × 24ft. Front desk was friendly. Our door faced the outside...which I don't care for & slot of "slamming" of doors. Really just a place to lay out head we were busy for 2 days.

We stay at this hotel several times during the year while visiting family. Always have a peaceful and comfortable sleep. The bed is very comfortable and the breakfast items are a nice touch for a quick grab and go if you don't have time to go to the restaurant next door. There are many different restaurants nearby also. Usually the road noise is very minimal. Great choice for travelers, close to everything in the Napa Valley.

This was a clean and comfortable hotel in Napa. The staff was friendly and the property well maintained. We were able to get to everything in Napa pretty easily from the hotel. It was about a mile from downtown. I would definitely stay here again!

I was near Napa to see my Dad in the hospital. Drove down from Washington with my 3 girls. He passed away the last night we were there. The staff was warm and friendly, and housekeeping took care of us like they were preparing a room for their own family's stay. It was a hard few days for my family, but our stay at the BW The Vines, made it simpler to get through. We'll stay again on a better occasion.

This hotel was perfect we only went there to sleep after wine tasting they suggested platypus tours that we loved taco truck next door was excellent all of this made our honeymoon a memorable one very reasonable priced

Napa hotels and Bnb places all seem ridiculously overpriced and this one at $190 per night for a king room is no different. The bed was nice, the room was clean and everything you'd expect was there. But the room was dark and gloomily decorated and not welcoming. I had two occasions to ask for something at front desk and both times the staff were excellent. But I wouldn't like to stay for more than the two nights we did.

We had great customer service from check in to check out. Breakfast is a light snack or, if you are a Best Western Rewards member, breakfast at Denny's next door. The room was VERY spacious and clean. I would stay here again.

I did a lot of research on Napa hotels on TripAdvisor before choosing this one mainly because it got a decent rating and the price wasn't outrageous like most hotels in Napa and north in the small vineyard towns. Yes, the hotel is on the southern edge of Napa, but on the nearby main roads you can be on the northern edge of town and on your way to the heart of wine country in 10 - 15 minutes. We were pleasantly surprised by the nicely sized, and very clean, room. Our room appeared to have been remodeled in the past couple of years. No complaints about anything, hence my 5 rating. I also used their laundry facility - 1 washer, 2 dryers, commercial grade and pretty fast. The front desk has a supply of quarters for the $4.75, with detergent, it will cost you to complete one large load. The young staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. And there's a Denny's next door and an In-N-Out across the street, as well as several other mid-range restaurants nearby if you don't want to spend a fortune for meals. I would stay here again.

A fine hotel that found a misplaced cell phone and gave it to another member of our party to return it. Another bonus was a wine tasting when we checked in. The hotel should consider putting in more king-size beds; we were the only two in our party who received that preference.

We come to Napa every Fall after the Harvest. This is the 4th hotel we've tried and it is a nice find. Room is clean and comfortable, property is well kept, and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Its location is great and parking is pretty good. Service and amenities are also good and staff is very accommodating Suggest to get a room inside or back. Room in front, near highway gets noisy during the day. The rooms' walls are thin and you can hear foot movements above the ground floor.

We stayed at the Best Western on an overnight visit to Napa. The hotel is fine, although it is constructed out of wood so u can hear guests walking above if you are not on the top floor. Room was clean with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Would visit again. Has a nice exercise room, laundry and business center. The advertise free breakfast and it is but you are responsible for the tip at the Denny's on the corner of the property. It's a $6 allowance on the menu or three items form the "Bert Western" menu. You get enough food off the Best Western menu for a regular breakfast but if I was the hold I would include the tip in the voucher and then advise that you can tip more if u want.

We stayed here for 2 nights while we explored the Napa Valley. The room was a good size and on the first floor as requested. No view from the room whatsoever. Fence really close to the windows and outside area brightly lit at night, I presume for security. Wasn't really a bother as blackout curtains worked well. No breakfast included in room price but a Denny's on site. BW Rewards members get coupon for free breakfast in Denny's which was not mentioned on BW website but useful to know. Although a bit outside town in a good position for getting around and good value for the area

Need to get rid of the 6 chicklet sized pillows on the king size bed and get 4 king size pillows. Need more water pressure in the shower. No freezer in the refrigerator. Internet connection was intermittent. Housekeeping missed a "dorito" by the door when they vacuumed before we checked in.Everything else was fine.

this is an older hotel remodeled very nicely good value for the price especially around napa valley. clean and comfortable rooms good resturaunt attached. very accessable to downtown napa resturaunts and shopping

This was my 2nd stay at this property in Napa, CA. It is a little bit on the edge of town but that is actually a plus. Still close to other activities in town particularly the downtown area where there are great restaurants (check out the Oxbow Bend area where there are great places to eat and cool stores featuring california wares.) It was a little on the expensive side but breakfast at the Denny's next door is included (food was surprisingly great). This is, after all, Napa California. There is a nice work-out room and each nicely appointed room has a fridge to chill your newly purchased wine! Would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel conveniently located south of downtown Napa with easy access to highways to get to wineries in Napa Valley and the Sonoma area. Location, along with price was the primary reason for selecting this hotel. The hotel is a Best Western PLUS -- seemingly a more upscale BW. Our room was nicely decorated (albeit it a little dated), clean, and well maintained. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast at Denny's was included in our rate and 20 steps from our room. Lobby was nice and I had the opportunity to read the paper and have coffee there first thing before heading to breakfast. We enjoyed our stay -- no issues. Staff was pleasant. Check it out-- if you're looking for a nice place, a reasonable rate, and easy access to the wineries, this is a good place to stay.

Had a great visit with my mom to Napa. We stayed here. Impressed with the lobby and the staff. This was a great jumping off place for our visit. Took the platypus tour at the recommendation of the staff and had a great time. Loved that you could get a free breakfast at the Denny's to start the day.

Though the décor is a little dated the room was great, the staff where excellent and (if you are a Best Western Rewards member) you can't beat a free breakfast at Denny's. You are walking distance to Shopping, restaurants and even a movie theater. As driving, it's located close to downtown with easy access to Sonoma, the Silverado Trail, and St Helena Hwy. I'll for sure be staying here again.

Great location and the property is very well maintained. There were no problems with anything. We enjoyed our stay and the staff were friendly and efficient. This is the way ALL hotels should be managed. We will be back for sure. The free breakfast at the attached Denny's was amazingly really great.

We stayed here for 3 nights in September. We arrived early and in a bit of a rush to get ready for a wedding. The hotel staff was very helpful in getting our room ready early for us. It's always nice when a hotel goes a little extra to help out, great customer service! We stayed in a standard king size room, which was spacious with a couch/sitting area.The room was quiet, we never really heard any noise from outside or from neighbors. There isn't a breakfast option, but there is a Denny's attached to the hotel and they give you $6 off per person coupons to use each day. We went to wineries in St. Helena and Oakville, the travel times varied between 20-30 mins. We ate dinner in Napa and it was just a few minutes drive to plenty of places. Overall, based on the location, price and customer service, I would recommend this hotel.

A fam8ioly wedding the following day and due to amount attending from out of town I didn't have a place to stay. The girl at the front desk was very gracious and sympathetic towards me due to me being emotional due to the stress. At the time I really needed that extra little touch.

Was hoping to stay at a nice Bed and Breakfast but they were all full so this hotel in Napa filled in. Reasonably priced for the holiday weekend, especially when the breakfast at Denny's for members is factored in. Rooms were spacious and clean. No views and on a busy corner but I didn't notice a lot of road noise that night. Staff friendly and helpful. Pool was small but we didn't use it.

Nice hotel, good location, near many of the area's attractions. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The hotel grounds include an outdoor pool and a Denny's restaurant adjacent to the property. An outdoor mall with a Target and supermarket is right across the street. Take note that the city streets light are not pedestrian friendly.

Another couple, my husband and I stayed here for 3 nights recently. Our room was clean and comfortable... I'd searched a lot for a reasonably priced place to stay in Napa proper and decided on this Best Western. We had a nice sized balcony room that faced the pool. Staff was pleasant, location good - I'd choose this location again.

it's too bad -- rooms are nice, staff is attentive -- but flimsy construction means you'll hear every footstep the person in the room above you takes. If you must stay here, ask for the top floor. On the plus side, the complimentary breakfasts at the attached Denny's were surprisingly good.

Travelled with grown adult children and their families (grandchildren / spouses). Couldn't ask for anything more. The amenities were excellent and the hotel centralized within walking distance to restaurants, shopping. Free breakfast in the mornings were very good; especially for our family of 12 which included 4 children under the ages of six. Will definitely stay there again.

We booked based on reviews and the recent reward but were a little disappointing on what was our first of a seven hotel stay in California. Our room was very large indeed and to be fair was nicely furnished. However the bathroom was very dated and we think could do with a refurb. Our reviews was not helped by funding various gels and prescriptions of a sexual nature which had clearly been left by a previous occupant but not cleared by the housekeeping team. There is a pool but if you go out for the day the sun moves around so that it is in total shade come 4pm so we didn't get to use it. The other issue for us is that for breakfast you use Denny's next door. You can have the Best Western menu which is included in the prices or take $6 off the main menu. Not particularly good food and slow service.

This hotel made a reasonable base for a day in Napa before a balloon adventure in Yountville. It was clean and the hotel staff were very helpful. A little 2 am noise disturbance marred our sleep but otherwise it was a good stay.

We came in mid-week when the price was more reasonable. The room was large, nicely decorated and clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful in recommending good places to go and eat. Breakfast was perfect for us offering juice, coffee, snack bars, fruit and yogurt. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here during a visit to wine country. The room was clean and quiet. I find that I sleep very well at Best Western properties. This Best Western was no exception. The balconies didn't have good views but are excellent places to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

Not bad place to stay plenty of food options within walking distance. Had a Denny's restaurant on site. Close to freeway and Home Depot for you constructions guys. Front office staff is great with check in and quick to get you to your room.

Conveniently located at one end of the Napa Valley this was perfect for a day trip thru the valley. We had one last day before flying out at SFO which was a comfortable 2 hour drive. It would be 1 hour according to the GPS but add a hour for traffic.

This motel is in an excellent location at a reasonable price for the area. The room was very clean and had a refrigerator and microwave. It is about a five minute drive from the downtown area. If you are a Best Western Rewards member, the room charge includes a breakfast at Denny's, which is located on the same property. It is not the regular breakfast menu; however, it has a variety of selections and we were happy with the amount of food provided.

Professional and courteous staff. Housekeeping kept our room clean and stocked with towels. The cleanliness of the property overall was nice. The room smelled a little moldy, it just seemed too dark where we were at (first floor away from the sun). We could hear guests upstairs walking around so the floors don't seem to have much of a sound buffer. Very pricey such is Napa - I definitely would not have made a reservation if there were other comparable options - despite having paid the pre-paid rate which is supposed to be the cheaper option. Location-wise, it's easily walkable to Target, standard chain restaurants, and gas station. So forgetting toiletries or other travel items is not a problem when all of it is so close by. Not hard to find at all. Probably wouldn't stay there again though if I could help it - unless it was a cheaper. But if I'm going to the pay that rate again, I may as well go for a hotel within the central part of Napa.

The hotel is very well located in Napa, with easy access to the wineries and restaurants. The rooms are comfortable. We had a busy schedule visiting Napa, and came back mainly to sleep. We were very satisfied with the quality of the hotel.

This is a very fine and tastefully decorated hotel. The rooms are large, the price is reasonable the accommodations way above average. The staff and desk clerk were very sweet, helpful and good-natured. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant but they give you a discount to eat at a Denny's next door. While I'm not a big fan of Denny's, this one had excellent food.

Start off with I'm not a regular traveler with Best Western, I made reservations using the 800 number listed on Trip Advisor. The Reservation Center operator conveniences me to sign up for Best Western Rewards program (it's free to sign up) to receive a better rate. Ok that sounds great, 30 minutes later, I'm annoyed at how long it takes to get my reservation. I ask for a King bed room for 2 adults. You can probably guess where this is going. When we arrive in Napa during the peak of the season in August, we have a queen bed......and yes just one queen size bed. I went to the office to ask for a king bed, oops the hotel is full and this is the only room. The staff is nice and tells me that Best Western hotels are independently owned and I should always make reservations directly with the property! Wow good to know. We'll survive a night in Napa in a queen size bed, but for $237 a night I'll look for a different and possibly better accommodations on our next trip.

The hotel was clean and the staff pleasant. The location was great, close to all of our family events and to many wineries. Compared to other hotels this was a more reasonable priced place but in this area they are all very expensive.

Strangely enough i have been to the area hundereds of times but never in down town Napa - which surprises even me. I guess I spent most of my time on the wine road so to speak. There were several hotels in the area to choose from - this one is on a main thoroughfare but set back a little from the street. Be sure to get a room on the back side of this hotel to minimize noise. We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the rooms, and for once i didn't have a major gripe about the cleanliness of the place.. The room we got faced the pool which was nice. When you make a reservation they tell you hat they do not have breakfast in the hotel- however they do provide a voucher for certain room rates to the Denny;s next door- which is good enough to get started on. This is a main busy street so getting up to wander around the Napa countryside is not in the cards for this location- but you can easily drive in any direction for 10 minutes and find pleasant venus for outings, hiking and the like. Everything in Napa is pricey and this is no exception- but it's tolerable. I am keeping this one in my short list of places to stay again, but will continue to explore other venus in Napa when I go back again.

This BW Plus is a very nice property, well maintained and kept-up. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable, towels were super soft! Pool area is the perfect size to catch some sun and/or take a quick dip in the heated outdoor pool or soak your sore muscle in the hot tub. Conveniently located to get to the downtown area or any of the roads to the wineries.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Let us check in a couple of hours early. Only has one elevator, sometimes we had to wait about 10 minutes for it. Too hot to take the stairs. Great location, easy to get to downtown or freeway.

Great hotel. Very clean. Friendly staff. The outdoor pool was at a comfortable temperature, even in the evening. Rooms are very spacious and modern. Very nice, safe environment. It is on a busy thoroughfare though.

This Best Western was a real surprise for me as I did not expect anything high end and Napa hotels are quite expensive. My room was immaculate. Spotless. The decor was pleasing and looked very new. Nice cold a/c, private patio and great room coffee and boutique personal care products in bathroom. There is a Denny's on property and several other restaurants not too far away. Front desk was very courteous and efficient and even slipped a breakfast coupon under my door.

I have a hard time paying over $100 for a Best Western, but this one is nice. The location is great, and the rooms are very well taken care of. Some rooms have patio/balconies. Elevator for 2nd and 3rd floor. Quiet on Sunday and Monday night. I would recommend this property, if the price was right.

We wanted a hotel we could use as a home base as we traveled around the Napa area. This place was reasonably priced and very nice. Since it was summer, we used the pool and hot tub. We met some very nice people. Tom, who worked the desk, was very nice. There was also a nice complimentary breakfast next door at Denny's.

went on a visit and vacation trip to NAPA valley to see our niece who is attending CIA school and relatives in Sacramento. the hotel was in a great location to go in many directions. the NAPA valley yineyards were beautiful. we visited quite a few. we also spent a entire day in San Francisco, Alcatraz, Chinatown, Lombard street and Fishersman's Wharf, also went down to the beaches of Santa Cruz. Also went to areas recommended by hotel staff. When we go back to the NAPA area, we would stay at the Best Western at the Vines again.

We stayed here in July, which must be peak season, but I expected something a little special for over $300 a night. Instead I got...acceptable.The room was perfectly comfortable. The location was vaguely suburban: busy street across from a mall. The pool was tiny, but well-maintained; parking, ample. But "free" breakfast in the adjoining Denny's left something to be desired. We waited politely with a group of other guests, but there was no hostess in sight. Finally, we entered the dining area and attracted attention. But here's the kicker, unlike the generous buffet we enjoy in other Best Westerns, this Denny's offers the choice of a barely adequate meal OR $6 off on a Denny's breakfast. If you're hungry, they've got you where they want you. The food was fine, but it took too long, and spending $30 for a free breakfast leaves a sour taste .

Good size, clean, current room. If you're just looking for a place to crash in Napa this was a great for the price in the area. About 15-30 minutes from wineries. Locate on a very main road and across from a big shopping center (Target, movies, Starbucks, Denny's, In&Out).

The location was perfect -- easy to find and suited our needs for our activities while in town. Check-in was easy, people were nice, the room was clean. It's not fancy, but given the alternatives in Napa (very pricey), it suited our needs. (We had two rooms, and our relatives had a third.) There's no getting around that this is a Best Western, with Denny's as the anchor restaurant. Clean, no frills, convenient. No more, no less.

The room was pleasant, the beds very comfortable. No view from the window...but we were there to sleep! "Breakfast" was minimal: bottled juice, coffee, and granola bars. The desk advised us we might want to get a full breakfast elsewhere. Desk staff was helpful the day we explored Napa Valley, suggesting an alternate route which paralleled CA-120 and had much less traffic. This hotel had available rooms on-line after many others had filled. Location was near the Wine Train station, making for easy access. A gas station and a grocery store were also convenient, and Denny's, for those who wanted a convenient restaurant. Free on-site parking was available, and there is an elevator to the second floor.

We spent 3 nights here in June of 2016. The check-in was smooth with Natalie and she even offered some 2 for 1 wine tastings at some wineries. We were in room 300 and the room was good size and the bed was super-comfortable. We had a fridge and microwave and a balcony to sit on and enjoy some late night wine. Our stay also included a breakfast next door at Denny's as Best Western Members. On Friday late afternoon, they even had a wine tasting event in the lobby with Castello Di Amorosa and the gentleman from there was a lot of fun. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Perfect location to begin your exploration of Napa wine country. Tom at the registration desk was wonderful, he could not have been nicer and more helpful. Our room was large and clean and had a refrigerator and microwave. Would absolute stay here again!!!

Everything worked fine, the room was very large and very clean. There is a nice swimming pool tho I didn't use it. Hotel is convenient to Denny's and to a large shopping mall with a supermarket and restaurants as well as much else. Not such a good neighborhood for walking: safe, it seemed, but Soscol is a big highway-like road.

I was in Napa Valley for the Jazz Getaway with Brian Culberson,It was close to both venues and several wineries.....The hotel was very clean and the staff was great...! and if you are a reward member you get free breakfast at Denny's which is adjacent to the hotel.

This place is great if you just want a place to sleep and store your stuff which is what my husband and I used it for. It is a little dingy and our hallway smelled a little but other than that it was fine. Room was clean, check in was easy. Checkout I was hoping for some express option but there wasnt any, we had to go to the front desk to do it. Overall for the price is was what we expected. Tere is a Denny's behind it which we found made it a little loud at night. We noticed this bc the air conditioner in the room could not keep up at night so we had to open the door to keep it cool.

We spent 3 nights at the Best Western. It is fairly close to Downtown Napa if you are driving. And is close to all the wineries. Check in was easy. Our room was close to the lobby so we had more noise than I think you'd have with a room in the next building. Our room was clean and up to date. They do have washer and dryer facility along with a nice pool area and hot tub. We did feel the wall a/c heater unit was loud but that seems to be the nature of those units. There is a Denny's attached but I'd highly recommend NOT going to this restaurant at ALL. Service and food was terrible. Not up to even a Denny's standard. Poorly managed. Go across the street and down a couple of block to Black Bear Diner. Our stay at Best Western was very nice and I'd certainly recommend this hotel for those watching your pennies in the Napa area

I've stayed at Inn at the Vines at least 5 or 6 times for 3 to 4 nights each time. I've always been happy with my choice to stay there. The staff is warm, friendly and helpful. The rooms (and the hotel) are not fancy but they are clean and well-maintained. All-in-all it is a great value for the money.

It is always the staff experience that provides to customers that's why I like staying at Best Western in Napa. They always do an extra mile and never forget to smile, even the housekeeping they are very polite and always with a smile when they greet you.

I stayed here recently, checked in Saturday night, out on Thursday morning. The front desk personnel were all friendly and efficient. My room was on the third floor in a quiet area (I don't recall the building name) with a nearby but separate elevator (so no elevator noise). I had reserved a room with two queen beds. It was spacious, attractive, and comfortable. There was a coffee maker in the room along with a mini fridge and microwave. The TV service is DirecTV with a flat screen TV. There was an exercise facility, a business center with two computers and a printer, and a self-service laundry facility. All were well-appointed and functional. The front desk cheerfully exchanged my dollar bills for quarters for the laundry. The Denny's next door was great for breakfast. I received a 15% discount with my room card, but Denny's offers AARP members a 15% discount as well. The hotel offered coffee, fruit, cereal and granola bars as an alternative to breakfast at Denny's. The shopping across the street was handy (Target, Raley's supermarket, etc.) The Oxbow Market is about a mile and a half away, and a taxi from the Oxbow area to the hotel is about $9. The room rate was reasonable for Napa, and for me it was great value for the money. I would recommend it and would stay again if I were ever in the area.

Spent 3 nights at the BW Pluss Inn at the Vines, located just outside of downtown Napa. Perfect location for what we needed. Recommend using Uber for transportation, so easy and fast. It appeared that there was plenty of parking available in the downtown area, but we preferred to walk and enjoy.

Amazing place to stay!! This was my first time out in the area and the staff was amazing!!! They went out of their way to ensure my first trip to Napa Valley wouldn't be my last. I highly recommend staying here. I will continue to return to this hotel as they treated me like family and made my experience that much more enjoyable!!! Thank you again to the Staff!!!

We stayed here for two nights in April. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Staff here arranged our excellent winery tour through Platypus Tours. The rooms and property were clean and all facilities are in excellent condition. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is a great place for after a wine tour. Within walking distance you have all the greasy food options! It is a cab drive to the downtown core so I would recommend staying here for just a night. If you're planning more than 1 night, I would suggest staying in downtown Napa! You get 15% off at the Denny's attached to the hotel which is nice!

$256/ night is more than the room was worth but it was in Napa CA, so I guess there is a premium for that. Otherwise, it was a basic room with a lousy view since our window was in an alcove. The best part of the hotel was location with regard to getting to and from other parts of the region.

This my favorite hotel in Napa. I don't stay anywhere else. I highly recommend it. I visit it 2 or 3 times per year and stay about a week each trip. The staff are very helpful and some even remember me from previous stays.

The hotel is located outside of town and on a main road, so there isn't anywhere to walk around. on the otherhand, it was quiet and pleasant. there is a small shopping center across the road, which can be useful. the staff was freindly. even though they serve breakfast, I didn't go there, so I do not know how it was

5 stars for the service and 3 stars for the room! Almost had a true disaster since I booked third party and arrived at the hotel to find that my homegirl and I were assigned a single queen bed room. we were staying for 5 nights and both had colds and that simply would not do. Kylie at the front desk really went to bat for us and spoke to her manager about getting us double beds. It really made all the difference and completely changed our outlook on the trip. Thanks so much to Kylie for enduring our whines and helping us out a million!!! Rooms and Hotel are a little dated but very clean. Good size with decent mattress and decent bathroom. Definitely clean though and no issues during the stay.

We always stay here when we are in Napa. Clean, convenient location, nice breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff. This time we forgot a personal item in the room when we checked out. The staff immediately notified us and arranged to have our item mailed to our home. Excellent service and much appreciated!

My husband, grown son and I stayed at this hotel while visiting Napa Valley for the first time. We chose it for its location and it far exceeded our expectations in other ways as well. It was clean, room was easily accessible, breakfast at Denny's was a real bonus, downtown Napa was close as well as the wineries, pool was small but nice as was the hot tub. Room was very roomy and the bathroom was great with a nice working fan!

Employees provided great customer service. The room was a good size and clean. The wifi worked well. The A/C is quick to cool down the room. At the time of our visit, signing up for the Best Western Rewards program gave you a voucher for breakfast at the Denny's on the hotel's property. No issues to really mention. There are quite a few mosquito eaters on the hotel's property, so don't leave your door open.

This was an ok hotel. Nothing fancy no frills. Bring your own soap and shampoo. The products here are horrible. The hotel is very clean. If you join their free rewards program you will get free lunch with the Dennys connected to the hotel. Entire staff was very friendly,

When in the area, this is where I stay. I'm a weekly traveler and always try to stay at Best Westerns. The staff, room and amenities are a bang for the buck. The staff are courteous and willing to answer any and all questions. The rooms are above par and you would expect to pay much higher, considering the location (Napa). Eateries are plentiful and in walking distance. The restaurant is Denny and you are comped with a voucher for a discount or a free breakfast with limited menu, but it is enough to begin a good day... This hotel comes highly recommended. Enjoy your stay...

A well priced hotel in Napa. Room was modest, aged and for the most part clean. The bathroom had older fixtures, and kept fairly well maintained but obvious wear and tear noted in and around tub. Beds were comfortable. We received welcome goodie baskets through our best western points, and the receptionist was very helpful on giving tips of the area. Breakfast vouchers to Denny's were a nice touch. We stayed in the off season so didn't use pool facilities. Overall it is a clean, well priced hotel.

Husband and I visited Napa and decided to stay overnight. We really enjoyed our brief stay at the BW Inn At The Vines. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. They had a wine pour the evening we were there and instead of a continental breakfast we usually see at Best Westerns, we were able to enjoy a complimentary breakfast at the Denny's next door. The hotel was convenient to the downtown area, our room was clean and pleasant. We would return.

I was warmly received by Melody at the reception desk. She was quite Pleasant and helpful and gave me instructions on everything in the area. From the moment I walked in through the front doors she made me feel welcomed and like I belong there. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean and the surrounding area was quiet. Really glad we decided to stay at the Best Western Plus. I thought the location of the hotel was excellent as it's right across the street from a target and a lot of food options. The hotel is located about 5 minutes away from downtown Napa Valley area which is really easy to get to by car. There is also a Denny's located directly next door to the hotel. If you book your hotel room through BestWestern.com and you sign up to be a Best Western rewards member you will be able to get breakfast vouchers to eat breakfast for free at Denny's. We were able to do this and it was very convenient to walk over the Denny's each morning and eat. The rooms are nothing fancy but they are the perfect size and clean. I would absolute stay here again in the future or recommend to other people.

This hotel is very conveniently located, 20 to 40 minutes from all the great wineries in St. Helena's, Yountville and Calistoga and across the street from a great mall. The rooms are large with updated furnishing similar to a full service Hilton or Sheraton hotel and are exceptionally clean. If you are planning on a stay of over 3 nights, I'd recommend using the breakfast coupon at the Denny's for a discount off the regular menu not the "special Best Western menu".

I have used this particular Best Western in Napa for the last three years and was extremely happy with the entire experience. Since I was going up and down the Valley, it was the best spot for us to stay.

Compared to the other hotels in the area we found this one to be a bargain. The rooms were very nice and the staff polite and helpful. We had never been to the area before and they helped us with where to visit and where to eat. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a clean affordable hotel with a great staff. My girlfriend and I made a last minute trip to napa valley. We were flying standby and made the reservations at the last minute. We arrived at the motel around 11 pm and was greeted by a very friendly receptionist. By the time we finished checking in she had arranged for us to have a hot air balloon ride the next morning and a wine tasting the following day. This was after I had tried to make reservations myself on the Internet and both showed fully booked. The next morning the van was sent to the wrong motel to pick us up and the receptionist (different one) immediately recognized the situation and had another van pick us up and deliver us to the launch site. I could go on, but the reality was that every contact we had with the staff was enjoyable. The rooms were clean and the location was very convienent. By the time we left the third morning we felt like old friends with the staff and we really felt like we were coming " home" in the evenings. Highly recommend for the overall experience!

I have stayed at the Best Western Plus Inn at the Vines several times. Each time I have found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and so are the grounds. I have stayed in a room with a queen bed on the ground floor that was quiet, comfortable and perfect for an overnight business trip. I have also stayed in the King Suite which is 2 stories (the bedroom is kind of a loft which is really neat). I loved the king suite because of the space. It had a full size dining table. I feel like the hotel is a cut above the rest of the chains nearby due to the comfortable beds, excellent staff, and pretty grounds. I will definitely stay here again.

My husband and I made our first trip to Napa recently and stayed at the Inn at the Vines hotel. We were greeted with a smile and the staff was very friendly. Genafer asked if this was our first visit to Napa and offered to gave us a few places they suggest we visit during our stay. Our room was quite and cozy and the beds were super comfortable for a hotel! Genafer and the other woman in the office were both very friendly and I plan on staying there again when I go back in October!

Best Western Plus Inn at the Vines is located perfectly in Napa Valley. Short distance to shops, downtown nightlife, and my favorite winery. They offered breakfast at Denny's which is a short walk from the hotel. The hotel landscape is eye catching, sort of romantic every time you drive into the parking lot. The amenities they offer are very nice, excellent fitness room, wiifi, and pool area.

The Best Western Inn at the Vines is conveniently located to the main entrance of the Napa Valley right near across the street walking distance to multiple places for shopping, entertainment, gas and dining. I had an easy relaxing time at this Hotel. The hotel staff were friendly informative and always helpful with my questions. The room was modern, clean and quiet. There was also a restaurant on site with a discount for hotel guests. I really enjoyed my stay and plan to return on my next trip to the Napa Valley.

I paid over $190. The pictures looked nice but they were deceptive. The outside looks like a Motel 6. The rooms were nice on the inside with modern decor but the staff was extremely rude. I travel a lot, domestically and internationally. This was a very unique experience in the way I was treated upon arrival. I would not recommend this hotel. I should have either stayed at a bargain hotel or went for it and spent the $400 to stay at a nice place downtown.

This is a great hotel for traveling to napa on a budget! Everything is nice, the traditional average American hotel. Free coffee in the morning with vanilla creamer and everything seemed clean. Big rooms that look okay. We will totally come back!! And definitely recommend it

The hotel's location feels unsafe. My room smelled like disinfectant, and I was woken up at 2:00 am by a very loud group outside of my room, car alarms going off in the parking lot, and a lot of banging noises in adjacent rooms. The very loud noise lasted about 10 minutes. I did not feel safe leaving the room by myself after dark.

When I arrived initially it was for 3 days, then decided twice to extend my stay. With some playing on the computer Bertha was able to keep me in the same room each time. Super customer service. The location on the edge of Napa is ideal as one can easily get to the newly reconstructed downtown Napa, up the Napa valley or over to Sonoma. Even Lodi was only an hour away. The free breakfasts were in Denny's, located on the property. The property was well maintained.

I stayed there last January while attending a wine seminar, I was confused with the other Best Western in downtown Napa, so if you intend to go to downtown you will need to call a cab; however it is within walking distance from grocery stores, gas stations, banks, and chain restaurants.

We have always depended on Best Western hotel. The Inn at the Vines is a big disappointment. I would not give it a Premier rating. Our first room had a broken toilet flusher. That was odd, given that it was just cleaned. We we moved to another room. It smelled like old skunk. The toilet flusher is almost broken in this room. The breakfast was very poor quality. In general, the facility is in need of an upgrade.

Very nice property... large beautiful rooms with extremely comfy beds! Conveniently located from across from upscale eating establishments as well as better grocery stores, service stations & Starbucks!

This hotel is not within walking distance of the downtown Napa restuarants and shops, but it is within walking distance of several chain restuarants, stores and a movie theater. It served us well since we had a car and spent most of the day exploring the vineyards. They offer cereal bars, juice and coffee in the morning and you receive a discount at the Denny´s next door. We would stay here again, mainly because of the cost benefit.

Located away from downtown Napa in a much older and more industrial part of Napa, this hotel offers very friendly service. Although the buildings are older, they are well maintained and the rooms are immaculate. Not a luxurious place but it has very comfortable beds and with a small coffee maker (with coffee, tea, and hot chocolate packages provided), a small fridge, and a microwave in every room it provides for a good stay. If you are a Best Western Rewards member you even get a free breakfast coupon for the Denny's restaurant next door.

We were here one night in Dec. for overnight for son's wedding. Very good motel; one of the best BW we've stayed in across the country! It's a little further out from "central" Napa town, but it's very easy to hop on the hiway and be where you need to in just a few minutes. Room was spacious, large bathroom/vanity area..and always a plus for me..a small fridge and microwave! Very friendly and helpful person checking us in, and though they did have another plus-coffeemakers in the room- I did notice in the small lobby at checkout they have coffee with apples/bananas/granola bars for the guests. A great touch! And being a rewards member, we were able to walk on over to Dennys (adjacent-no need to drive) for the free BW breakfast! Not too shabby! There is every kind of shopping center/restaurant/fast-ffod places within easy driving/walking to the motel. And FREE parking! We will definetly stay here again! In the spring or fall months to take advantage of the pool/spa.

We made a reservation here due to proximity to the Uptown Theatre in Napa (less than 5 minutes away). Our room was not only very spacious and quiet, but the layout was well thought out and it was possible to make the room dark even on a sunny morning. They thought of everything, and the pool and spa were the perfect temperature and very clean. Movie theaters and excellent shopping nearby as well made the visit perfect and we will be back!

We were in Napa for two wine parties - one at Hess and one at Round Pond on a Saturday and Sunday - so we opted to stay overnight at the Best Western in Napa. We had the very nice large king size room with couch, nice desk, table and chairs. We slept comfortably. The bathroom had double sinks which is nice. We also had a patio area with two chairs. We watched the Grinch on the TV. We enjoyed our complementary breakfast at Denny's - eggs, biscuits and bacon for us. There is a gated entrance to Denny's area from the hotel so the walk there is very easy to do in the morning. There is a longer list of things one can order complementary if one wants to order something different. One can order three items and a beverage. Or they can get a discount if they want to get something different from the full Denny's breakfast menu. Time for complementary breakfast was 7 - 10 a.m. when we stayed. There is a hot tub and small pool also on the premises. Staff is very nice and check-in and check-out was very good. The price we paid was very reasonable. Parking is free.

We stayed here for one night as part of a 3 week tour around California. The hotel itself was Clean, the room spacious and had everything we required. There is also a spa and outside heated pool, which although it was cold we had a dip and thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were exceptional, providing us with vouchers and information for wine tasting. Due to Napa being so vast we drove to various places to sample some wine, which was not ideal as we had to take it in turns, however i do believe there is a train which you can book to take you various wineries. We did not research this very well prior to going, but would suggest it so you can make the most of the area. We went to Mumms sparkling wine and V.Sutti both well worth a visit. Beautiful scenery and very friendly people. Denny's is next door to the hotel which is great for breakfast. Overall i wish we had more time to explore this beautiful area as it is a must see, but the time we spent here was well spent, and i would definitely recommend this hotel.

We got the King room with pull out couch. Room was huge! Nice amenities and the pool was really warm as well as the hotub. Excellent location for wine tasting. Breakfast is at the adjacent Denny's cant go wrong. Our new go to for Napa CA!

This is our go to hotel when we visit family in Napa. It is affordable and clean. It is close to downtown Napa and the Silverado Trail. The Staff is very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast is great!

Great location, close to many options for eating/shopping and just minutes away from Napa or Sonoma wine tasting! Went with a few Gal Pals and they reserved rooms close to each other over the phoine! Double Rooms were amazingly large and roomy! Very comfy beds, good sized fridge and microwave. Nice continental breakfast and they arranged to have our wines shipped from the hotel at very comparable prices. Would stay again in a heart beat!

This is a good mid-level hotel with the general amenities you'd want - internet, tv, pool, for a reasonable price in comparison to other properties (Napa has gone way up in the last few years). Clean, comfortable, decent service. A rather industrial / business area, it is a good choice if you are doing other things and not expecting to spend a lot of time actually in the hotel.

The hotel is not located in downtown Napa which in my opinion is a good thing. I was not that impressed by the city of Napa and I would think that it would be more expensive to be in the heart of the city. However this hotel is a great starting point to visit the vineyards and is an easy drive to downtown. It is clean and well run. Denny's is next door and you get a voucher for breakfast. No hesitation in going back there again one day..

I made a mistake and booked a room for 2 nights and really needed 3 nights. The third night they were booked solid. Kylie at the front desk found me another room at a nearby hotel pending a cancellation. Bertha, also at the front desk was able to get me in without changing hotels. Excellent customer service. Also the hotel is spotless and in a great location.

The room and outside area were particularly clean. The furnishings were new and nice, even on the patio and around the pool. This place is well located. 'A little noisy with the night traffic, but every hotel on the Hwy likely gets the same. The folks at the front desk could not have been more helpful.

While not directly downtown Napa, this Best Western Plus was a good location for driving to the various wineries and vineyards in the Napa and Sonoma regions. We had a nice king room with a balcony at the end of a hallway close to the outdoor elevator....easy in and out from there. Breakfast next door at Denny's is included from a special menu or you are allowed a $6 discount off any of their regular breakfast menu items. We chose the eggs, hash browns, toast and coffee which was more than ample and tasty from their special menu. We would return to this particular Best Western Plus if ever in the Napa area again.

Great location at the start of Napa Valley. No complaints. Staff and facilities were most agreeable. Pool and whirlpool were in the middle of the complex with easy access. Exercise room has lots of options and free use of business center.

We came with some friends and they were in a different room than us. We had a great experience, they had an okay experience. The staff was great, room was cleaned well, the bed was very comfortable, the location was perfectly what we wanted in relation to everything in Napa. We got a balcony to use if we wanted it, and the room came with free wifi. We even got discount tickets if we wanted to use the Denny's for breakfast, which is attached to the hotel. The issue was the temperature of the water for the shower. Ours was fine, could be controlled with no problem. Theirs was either really hot or really cold, nothing in between. By the end of the 5 day trip, they were afraid to take a shower and washed themselves in the sink. Our room was on the end of the hallway on the third floor, theirs was in the middle on the third floor. I would definitely stay there again as everything for us was perfect.

Booked our room via expedia.two nights for over 500.00 . Harvest time. Arrived Saturday evening. .gentleman checking us in must of had a bad day .. Our room however, is very nice. .clean. .comfy. .needs a keurig tho! Called regarding time breakfast served.but were ..told because we reserved our room via third party we are not eligible for breakfast...just a snack. Did not want to go to DENNYS next door. Our room is over 200.00 a nite!!! How cheap ridiculous and inconvenient! And disappointing. Never had this problem with other BwPLUS.

Nice hotel in a good location. Very reasonably priced. Quality fitness center. We had a minor issue on one night during our stay with a slow drain in the bathroom sink. The response of maintenance and the front desk was excellent. The front desk sent up a gift basket that included a bottle of wine for our troubles. In addition, they discounted the rate for that nights stay. I would recommend this hotel very highly.

The hotel staff was very pleasant, room was very clean, comfy bed..a bit high in price for only one night stay.My only complaint , we had difficulty finding it, it's hidden behind the Denny's Restaurant..There should be a sign above the building where it will be visible

Stayed here while celebrating my sisters birthday. Let me tell you Napa in general is super expensive. We stayed her $350 a night on Friday and Saturday night. I was appalled, but compared to everything else this was the best. Very comfortable accommodations and a central location. Took uber for breakfast to oxbow market which was pretty cool place for $7. Large Room has frig and microwave. I would stay here again.

You cannot beat the price for all you get at this wonderful facilty. I recommend it to all my friends I was here on business to complete an install of a job in Napa but if I were on vacation I would use this place for sure. Thanks again for making my visit so nice..

One of the less expensive hotels in Napa. Perfectly located, clean, safe and comfortable. We weren't planning on being at the hotel many hours because we had visits to wineries and visits to downtown planned. It met all our expectations, would stay there again.

This was our 4th stay in Napa and this hotel was by far the best! It is a beautiful property close to both Napa and Sonoma, across the street from a Raly's food store and a Target as well as many restaurants. It is very close to the town of Napa, which we loved. The rooms were nice, the breakfast at Denny's was delicious and my husband enjoyed the workout room and business center. There is also plenty of parking.

The room was much nicer than I expected, the exterior is not bad, but the interior was nicer. The room was well appointed and spacious. I actually sat on the upholstered chairs (usually I avoid them). I did hear my neighbors talking even though I think they were trying to be respectful... so the walls might be thin, but it was the room with the adjoining door... so that may have been a factor. I don't know if I had neighbors on the other side. (no pets... :( means I probably wont get to stay again since I usually travel with my little old pup)

We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is located a short drive from downtown Napa, where there are restaurants and wine tasting rooms. There are lots of fast food places located across the road from the hotel and a Denny's next door. The pool was tiny and needed a clean! Definitely wouldn't stay again but would spend more money and stay somewhere fancy!

The location of this place was very centrally located to everywhere we wanted to go. We went to Napa to view the wineries and take a bike ride through the vinyards and then to San Francisco and off to Sonoma. Great location.
