« cozy hotel and lovely customer service »

Best Western is a lovely hotel with a great view of the city from the 7th floor lounge. The staff is very friendly and cooperative. Decent breakfast buffet as well as overall menu! The only issue is that it's located in a busy area with lots of traffic, so make sure you plan ahead! Free airport transport would be nice too!

    « Meeting venue »

I have come to love the hospitality accorded to guest's using the Meeting rooms. Yesterday I was very impressed by the organization of the staff. The IT staff especially Ruth and Shadravk were very helpful in setting up and connection to their internet. I admit their speeds are commendable.keep the good work. As for the restaurant staff. We loved the good just wish the turnaround time was much faster. All in all a good place to host a meeting over dinner or lunch

    « Best View Ever »

I love it all....the pool...the view ...the gym.....the food ...the accessibility....the customer service ....everytging is excellent. Couldnt have asked for a better place to reside after a looooooooonnnnnñngggggg week. Worth every penny. You should be here !!!

    « Very nice, but.... »

Awesome service and good quality room. Friendly and helpful staff. But this hotel is in a very busy area. There are always a traffic jam to and from the hotel... This is however the case for the most of Nairobi, so I guess, it is not that big a deal...... The chef baking omelets and eggs every morning, had a cough and did not wear a mask, nor turn away his head, or covered his mouth when coughing... No way I was gonna eat whatever he cooked! Very off-putting. Hotel Taxis are very expensive!!! Uber is available all over though.

    « Outstanding Hospitality »

I had a wonderful stay there although it was short but i enjoyed it, outstanding staff and very friendly, they were very helpful while asking for assistance, restaurant was great, food was very delicious, room was very clean, service was excellent there. Amazing hotel and staff.

    « Level 8 Rooftop Bar & Lounge »

The ambience is great, and so are the views of this Rooftop Bar. I tried one of their popular Ciroc cocktails - the Ciroc Blue. It was delicious. The bar eats were very good. The only dampener was when I tried the vegetarian biryani , as a biryani festival was going on. Apparently the chef had no idea what a biryani was; he could have learnt a good recipe even from the Internet! Aside from this, the place was great and it's the perfect place to have a relaxed evening.

    « Life inNairibi »

It was impressive during our short stay and visit in Nairobi. Food is various really love our breakfast at the hotel. The rasturant around there just a walking a bit. The shopping mall called"Junchtion"mall are meet with your required.

    « Decent hotel »

I stayed in this hotel twice (Oct & Nov.). The premises and the rooms are clean, security is really doing their job. The breakfast is good and the rooftop restaurant is elegant. Internet is good as well as the water pressure. The gym is small though. In my first stay everything was doing well, no hitches, the waiters are very attentive to me in breakfast. In my second stay, first the telephone in my room did not work, I went outside my room to use the common telephone to ask to fix the telephone. No response for one hour, I have to call again so that their maintenance personnel would attend to my request. Also in my second stay, in the breakfast I asked the waitress to give me a plain black tea. The tea did not arrive after 20 minutes, I monitored her she was supposed to bring me the tea but one of the guy asked for her the tea and she gave the tea that is supposed to be for me. Then she forgot about me until she remembers me. I think they don't like to serve some race, they prefer other race, I think that's what happened to me.

    « Very pleasant stay »

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting our niece who lives a short distance away. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were good with plenty of choice. I loved the gift shop and the very nice lady who manned it - she very kindly popped to a shop to get nail varnish remover for me. The roof top bar and pool were a real bonus and made a pleasant area for us to chill whilst waiting for our taxi to the airport. Can't find a thing to fault and despite it being on a busy road we weren't troubled by traffic noise even though our room over looked it. We would certainly choose this hotel again and hope to make a return visit at some point.

    3
« Solid Choice for Business Trips »

If you are looking for a good business hotel this is a solid choice. Fair internet, roof top swimming pool & bar, gym ... Good place to meet up with people as both roof top & ground floor restaurant are vibrant with non hotel guests. While the menu misses none of the classics (burger, wraps, salads ...) - some dishes are a more exciting read than taste. I have stayed here several time in the last 3 years - and nothing is changing. Hoping this rating will motivate as I love coming back ;-)

« Perfect service and hotel »

The staff are very attentive. For example, I requested an iron and ironing board delivered to my room. It arrived within 5 minutes and the iron was heated in advance. Good buffet breakfast. Really nice rooftop pool and bar/restaurant.

    4
    « Pretty Good »

This hotel does everything it needs to really. It's not outstanding but just satisfactory. The WiFi can be a little sketchy from time to time and the gym is well appointed but should really be in a bigger room as it's a bit crowded. Roof terrace is nice and staff attentive.

    4
    « Great ambience »

I had a welcome non-alcoholic cocktail when we arrived at the lounge on level 8, which was very tasty! Lounge is small and cosy. We then proceeded downstairs for dinner at Pablos restaurant, we had requestd for a buffet as it was a group dinner. The variety of food was great and each item had lots of flavour, I especially loved the meatballs! This was my second time at Pablos and they did not disappoint. The staff was also very helpful.

    « A beautiful respite »

I have stayed at this hotel three times and will definitely stay there again. I spend time in Kenya annually to do the work of a nonprofit organization and this hotel offers me a lovely respite from the hard work I do in the rest of the country. Everyone of the staff is professional, warm, friendly and helpful. The rooms are modern and comfortable. The food is great and both restaurants are beautiful. I want to express my gratitude to Samson for honoring a Best Western discount that had been sent to my email address, but was in my husband's name. His willingness to give me the discount meant this money could go to the children involved with the nonprofit I work for. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff and this charming place to stay.

    5
    « Great stay »

The staff at this hotel go out of their way to help. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Wifi connection was excellent. Great pool deck and restaurant on the roof top, lovely views. A bit pricey though.

    5
« best one of experience »

Did not sleep at the hotel but the the night experience i had was totally worth my while. the Customer handling standard by the staff is high...the meals are great but notably the chicken wings daamn i would go back again for them. rooftop view of the city at night is a great setting too...anyone wishing to have a unique family night out at the city of nairobi then my no brainer recommendation would be...best western premier

    « Birthday party »

Look no further amazing staff made the it all happen ...had everything I wanted dinned at the rooftop where there was a chilly breeze but warmers equalized the cold then good music downstairs.recommend it anytime

    5
    « Best best best »

Where to start. Top quality food. Very comfortable rooms. Good room service and the best staff around. The rooftop bar is a must. The pool on the roof is heated and a pleasure to swim in. You cannot fault this hotel.

    5
« Best Western Premier Nairobi »

Excellent Stay at an Excellent Hotel. If there was one complaint, it would be found in the beds and pillows. They were both hard. That being said, the overall experience was nothing short of great. One must at this hotel. Ask to go to the Ethiopian restaurant near the hotel. It was spectacular

    5
« Perfect place for business »

I stayed here Everytime I was in Nairobi and I like it because it is great to host casual business gatherings at the restaurant or the rooftop. The prices are reasonable, security really good, and the gym is well equipped. It's a good value whilst in Nairobi!

  • 4
    « Workshop »

Despite the heavy traffic flowing in and out of the hotel, the service is good and ambience even better. Staff were friendly and very supportive during my stay. I would definitely recommend it to other people passing through or visiting Nairobi.

    5
    « Beautiful hotel »

This hotel is great with really friendly staff, they were very helpful. I was supposed to stay there for three nights but for some unfortunate news I had to go back to my country Sudan. I did not experience much there but I think it could have been a very nice stay there in Nairobi from the looks of it.

    4
« A very pleasant couple of stay »

We used this hotel for a base while in Kenya. Quite well located to get around Nairobi. The rooftop bar is good, enjoyable views. Bit pricey on drinks. They stored our luggage while we went up Mount Kenya. Breakfast is good.

    5
« Very clean with good security »

We held a meeting here in August and requested to be changed to another room with queen size bed. The staff were very supportive. What i loved most in the hotel are the security features. People cannot move freely from one floor to another. This helps in controlling how people move around on the floors.

    4
    « Nice modern hotel »

Stayed here many times when travelling to Kenya. Very modern, clean hotel with good staff. Both restaurants nice to dine in. Small gym and small rooftop pool but again, not much more you could ask for. a little expensive compared to other quality comparable hotels!!

    2
    « Noisy environment »

Slept one night. Paid U$ 198 having booked online. The door stopper broken. B/fast choice very poor. Hotel located on a busy road. At 5 am morning buses hooting and noisy. Unfortunately very disappointed for the price paid.

    5
    « True Kenyan hospitality »

Quiet, comfortable spacious rooms, excellent food and service. Dinner by the poolside on the rooftop restaurant -Mezze on the deck is a must do and breakfast at Pablo's is just the perfect way to start your morning

    5
« New hotel in great location »

Stayed here for just a couple of days, but well worth it for the price. Nice breakfast options in the buffet, and an amazing rooftop bar. Probably one of the nicest views in the city. Within walking distance to two malls with cafes and restaurants. Rooms were well-appointed and tastefully decorated. I would certainly stay here again.

    3
    « Kenya Best Western »

After complaining about a couple of items the service turned around. Geoff, Irene and Evelyn provide very good service. Front desk needs more training on process of the hotel and the reason for them. Breakfast was never set up by 6 am in the morning and running after staff for a cup of coffee. Turn down of the rooms should happen on a schedule as having somebody knocking on you door at 20:20 pm for turn down is unacceptable. the general staff friendliness was good.

    5
« Great hotel in a good location »

I stayed here for 4 nights. Excellent hotel with very comfortable and modern rooms. Internet / Wifi was great and this was important for me for work. The only downside was that the room windows arent very well insulated so you can hear the cars from the road sometimes. Would definitely stay here again. Good value for money.

« Has lots of potential »

Popped in for quick fix for lunch as I was starving in last Saturday's midday heat while stuck in a huge traffic jam in Hurlingham. I decided to go to the resturant upstairs inoder to have a peak of the beautiful view of Urban Nairobi, so I had heard. Indeed, the view is great. The hotel itself is great and modern. The only and major downside was when my boyfriend and I had to place our orders to wind down that crazy afternoon. It took almost 2 hrs for our food to arrive. The waitress was not even apologetic but pinned the blame on the chef. I was quick to start with my food despite my "food lateness" concerns, as I was dying of hunger. Baah!!! The prawns were stale !!!!!!!!! And my boyfriend ditched his falafel which was quite unusual given that he always has a great appetite. What a shame! Best Western has the potential to attract quite a deal of winers and dinners to complement the other services offered by the hotel, no doubt. But my experience was totally disappointing and even further ruined my rest of that day. Btw, the lime/pineapple/mint juice served to me gave me a terrible sugar crash, perhaps you should go easy on the sugar? Asante.

« Great place and people! »

I've been staying here over the last five years during my visits to Nairobi. I've found the staff extremely helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The amenities are great, food is good with several dining options, and rooms are clean and roomy.

    3
« Not as great as usual »

Usually a great choice for quick visits in Nairobi but this time round it was not as great . Receptionist was cold ( not just from the weather ) the room curtains were not drawn ( we arrived at 1030pm ish ) .. Breakfast though was fantastic as usual great variety , great presentation and okay service . Am a sucker for service so the "cold" reception will definitely make me think twice next time ??

    5
    « outstanding »

This was a surprise to find a first class hotel in Nairobi. The staff was friendly, the hotel safe (guarded), the rooftop bar was nice, the rooms were beautiful and clean, bottled water provided, great fitness center. The breakfast buffet was delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The only drawback is that it is about an hour from the airport.

    4
    « Great place ! »

Well done and comfortable rooms , nice restaurant at the roof top with great view of Nairobi especially at night . Very friendly staff , coffee shop on the ground floor is a good place to eat , drink coffee and work . Wifi is good , hotel also has a gym and a pool . Breakfasts are pretty good too with medium selection , overall highly recommended if one wants to stay in Hurlingham.

    4
    « Good small hotel »

Nice hotel just outside the CBD in Nairobi. Rooftop terrace is nice as is the ciroc bar with great views of the city. Food is nice and staff are friendly. Only small issue is that Kodhek road gets very busy so extra time needs to be allowed if travelling to meetings etc.

    5
« Great to relax after a long day »

We stayed here for 1 night during our Nairobi stopover. During the day we went on a game drive in Nairobi National Park. Checking in to the hotel was easy and the staff were very welcoming. We had a lovely snack on the rooftop terrace and a great dinner in the restaurant.

« Bad attitude from the restaurant manager »

I always visit the hotel every time am around for business meetings. I bring in people to dine with you because so far this had proven to be the best hotel until I really got disappointed recently. I came in for dinner with my business partners and as usual flow of service was excellent until we asked for our usual favourite wine tilia malbec but the kind waitress said the wine was out of stock.Being disappointed for the second time after marketing it to my friends and how good it was.I insisted on talking to the manager because for sure I needed an explanation as to why I never get to enjoy my favourite drink worst still disappointed in front of my friends. The manager came and introduced herself as Caroline the restaurant manager and I asked her why my favourite wine was missing. She said it was out of stock ,I insisted to know why being the second time I was given the same excuse but she first rolled her eyes and Said that wasn't upon her to know why it was missing and I should take something else .I felt that was very rude. Our food had already delayed even getting her attention and inquiring about the wine had taken us a century. When I tried bringing up the food issue she said we should be patient because they are busy and the kitchen is small so the food always takes time at the roof top restaurant. She again rolled her eyes for the second and walked out on us.My friends didn't take it politely and asked us to leave immediately. This was humiliating I will never come back to best western nairobi not even my friends that was the worst experience please train your staff.

    4
    « Rooftop Restaurant »

Went in alone and sat down. No one greeted me and no one came to take my order for 30 mins. All the waiters just passing and looking at me without saying a thing. Finally when i was leaving without having taken anything, then one approached me to inquire whether I had been served

    5
« Nice Surprise in the Middle of Nairobi »

We stay in a lot of Best Western's while travelling and was pleasantly surprised with the Best Western Nairobi. It is more like a nice hotel than the usual Best Western. It is a little different when you arrive because of the security, although we soon realized, this was normal in Kenya. They stop the Van at the gate and actually search under the van with a mirror. You also have to go through a metal detector when you enter the lobby. But they are very nice about it. Checking in was very quick and simple and the rooms are very nice. Probably the nicest we've stayed in at a Best Western. Although the size of the room was pretty standard, the indirect lighting made it more "hotel" like. The bathroom/ shower was also a step above the usual. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The only negative was the restaurant. The food was good, but it was the slowest service I have ever encounter. We were warned about this before we came, but couldn't imagine how slow it could be for just a couple of hamburgers. It wasn't just us as we noticed it did not differ no matter what you orders. Friends order just a salad at on table and nachos at another table and the wait was interminable. They also received their appetizers after their main course. But the hotel was very nice and we would recommend it to others.

    « Clean and Great »

The rooms are clean, though are a bit cold. The heating system didn't seem to work in my room. There is high speed internet in the room and a number of DSTV channels on TV. Shower is great with great shower power. There is an in-built safe in the room. The hotel upgraded me upon arrival (very grateful for this). Though next to a busy road, the rooms are not noisy and its quiet once inside. Breakfast is fantastic with so much to choose from. They have secure parking. Would stay here again.

    4
« Decent hotel, not wow and not bad »

If price is decent then opt for it. All amenities in place, food is good, food pricing is good. TV has very limited channels. Funda of swipe as a must to move in a lift is irritating even though it is good for security. Room has rectangular socket where Indian adapter pins dont work and hotel has no extension cord or adapters/ plugs which take circular pin. At checkout time, printers went faulty and it took 40 min to checkout but probably that was a one off tech glitch though 40min is a big deal.

    5
    « great stay! »

I chose the hotel mainly because it was near the offices where I needed to go and I ended up having a very good experience. The room was comfortable and quiet, breakfast had a varied buffet. Tried the Pablo's restaurant one evening and I did not get disappointed. Gym equipment is new and gym has very long working hours. I would definitely stay here again

    3
    « Basic/Regular Business Hotel »

Do not expect anything special here except Indian Food at Ground floor Restaurant. Indian Chef is great and he can customize the food as per your need on most occasions. The Hotel Location is on a congested street and there is no other way to commute but to pass thru the street. I would suggest to select this Hotel only if you want to visit a place near to it else look for other options.

    3
« Good but there's a lot of room for improvement »

Location is quite good. Staff were warm and helpful. The food was OK but at a time, the breakfast became monotonous. Muffins, bread and danishes were hard. Good ambiance and security. General inconsistencies with the housekeeping and room supplies.

    4
« Great place to visit »

The setting is very good, we popped in for lunch on the roof. The management does a great job of keeping the place heated and warm. The staff is generally friendly and approachable as far as I could see, and they didn't rush anyone to place an order. The cleanliness of the place is also very good and the food was well done. However, the elevator was a bit of a challenge, the sensor was unresponsive so trying to hold it by standing at the doorway is not advisable. If management can look at that it'd be great

    4
    « DELIGHTFUL EXPERIENCE »

We spent a wonderful evening of dinner and relaxation at the Mezze rooftop restaurant... several floors above ground with breathtaking views of the Nairobi skyline, and overlooking a delicious little pool...but only to look at...it was unfortunately much too chilly to contemplate a swim. Our spirits were lit up by the friendly reception from the staff who greeted us as soon as we arrived, and who continued to be available and attentive throughout the evening. The cool evening air was cast away by the ambient glow of the tall, magnificent gas heaters ...thus our enchanting evening began... delightful mojitos (I recommend the crisp apple & mint mocktail mojito, and the most deliciously warm and tasty cream of tomato soup which was the perfect starter to the chilly evening.. perfectly grilled red snapper..) We were taken effortlessly from one course to the next..and in the end couldn't resist a taste of heaven... tiramisu and freshly brewed coffee to cap off the evening. Great ambience and excellent service! And of course 5 stars for Level 8 bar & lounge... a true hidden gem! Definitely planning to visit again.

    5
    « Very Very Good »

I had a night stay here and the place is amazing. The staff are very helpful. Eujay and Absolom were top class while i had a price issue. Downside was i got a room with twin beds instead of just the normal bed. Overall rating is splendid.

    4
« Way back from Mbaida's graduation in Moshi »

Very comfortable room, nice bathrobe and slippers to enjoy in the room, and a fantastic breakfast included in the rate. But most of all very fast free internet access, and coffee and tea facilities in room. My only problem was with the telephone as there was not guide as to how to use it so I could not call the reception when I wanted to but could receive all their calls. I was also allowed two extra hours after official check out time at no extra charge.

    5
    « a great stay with friends »

Stayed at the Best Western for my first trip to Narobi. Traveled with two friends and although hotels.com failed to update my room for a triple when I requested it, the front desk took are of it with no problem!lol I experienced great customer service from the concierge you helped us find our way around the city. We ate at both restaurants, Ben at Pablos hosted us for a lovely dinner al fresco. All in all it was a great stay and we felt very safe and comfortable.

  • 5
« Stunning Roof Top Restaurant »

I don't know about the hotel much but ive come a couple of times to the roof top for lunch. The 360 view of nairobi and the turquoise blue pool sets the perfect atmosphere from the busy nairobi. The food was always great.

    4
    « Nice stay!! »

Enjoyed my stay at hotel. Room always kept clean and neat. Service and staff are great. Had issue on 2nd last day with breakfast but otherwise an overall great experience. Would recommend this hotel as a home away from home.

    2
    « Disappointing Service »

I'm normally very difficult to disappoint however, we had a dinner for about 30 guests at Pablo's and I must say the service was hugely disappointing. We had one waiter for most of the evening who kept getting our orders mixed up. Poor guy was likely overwhelmed. There was an offer for #BurgerFest that was so difficult to claim and process that we gave up. Which is just as well because our waiter had put in an order while we were still discussing whether to go for the burgers. One of the diners had their order changed in the kitchen without their knowledge because an item had run out. This is an absolute faux pas in my opinion. When we moved up to the Ciroc bar, the service was equally slow and we ended up sitting for ages without drinks and eventually all just went to the bar. I've previously enjoyed an evening on the rooftop at Level 8 but this one just wasn't all in.

    4
    « Nice place »

I have used Best Western twice now for conferences, and its club for team bonding. The facilities are very good, staff are friendly, the food of high standards. There is quite a lot of flexibility in delivering customer requests, making it a favourite for my team. I haven't tried staying overnight at Best Western, but feel encouraged to.

    5
    « Conference »

I Had a superb experience at the best western hotel. The conferencing facility is great. Thanks to one Mr. Michael mutisya who is very polite and professional with great customer care skills. The food is great cooked to the taste.

    5
    « Great conference facility »

Best western premier has lovely conference facilities complete with high speed connectivity even for live streaming. They have great ambience. The food is fantastic and customer sevice unrivaled amongst its peers. I would recommend the use of their facility any day.

« Great place to stay in Nairobi »

This hotel was awesome. I led a group of 9 people. And the hotel helped arrange transportation from the airport. It has an incredible breakfast buffet for an African hotel. A very helpful staff too. I would recommend this hotel. It had all the extra nice touches and was the best deal I found. It is about 30 minutes to an hour from the airport depending on the traffic.

    4
    « very good »

very pleasant stay in best westrn! the rooms were clean. only some problem with the ricycle of the room's air the hospitality was great and the availability constant. friendly staff, enjoyed talking with them. especially at night on the terrace I had many chat with Eric and the others of the night shift.

    4
« My home in Nairobi »

I stay at this hotel 4 times a year. Facilities are up to date but especially the staff is helpful, smiling and accomodating so I feel at home here. Be it on the roof top terrace Mezze on the Deck, in the fitness center, the breakfast room or the reception.

    5
« Home away from home »

One of the most comfortable hotels I have ever visited! That doesn't mean its a luxury hotel, but still it has everything you need. The food is good, gym with nice view, roof top pool and the location is good but what makes the difference is the staff, really welcoming and very helpful. My hotel in Nairobi, I have stayed there again and again and would highly recommend it.

« Restaurant food and service »

Had hosted my family and friends for lunch at the roof top, I ordered my usual rib eye steak, my wife had a chicken sharwama my sons enjoyed a chef's special recommended to us by Mandela (the supervisor) . He was a very friendly gentleman with an always smiley face ,my friends (Sally and Rueben Woods) were new to Kenya so had to ask for what to have so Mandela recommended for them the Kenyan special beef stew and the all time famous maize meal (ugali) from the pablos restaurant, that was a good choice I must say.My friends said it was heavy but enjoyable ,delicious I must say but heavy and filling.I would recommend the kenyan delicacy to any other guest visiting the hotel, for honestly it superseded my order by far. big up Mandela and your team for the good job you are for continuously checking up on us. we winded up our visit with a swim at their roof top pool, the warm heated pool was wow,Michelle you were awesome with your friendly assuring smile,I will surely bring any friend to best western .you guys rock.

« Dinner at Best Western Premier »

A lot to write home about here! Great food. Took less than 15 mins after ordering. Excellent service. Great ambience and yes amazing view from the rooftop. It was a bit cold, fortunately, there was adequate heat..

    « Super Service »

Visited the restaurant on the lobby level , menu had decent variety and mix of cuisines . Burnt Tomato Soup & salad was very good. Service was super. I could see the staff were attentive and perfect. interaction by the staff with customers would make a lot of difference . Highly Recommended

    « Lunch »

Was such a great experience having lunch at Best western premier, the fish well served tasted nice and besides that the view is one to make you feel like on a holiday. The prices are worth it as the service is also perfect! I recommend Best Western any day any time! Mwaaaaah!

« Average value for money »

The hotel is well located for business meetings near Yaya mall, however is not close to the central city, nor the major UN hub. It is priced in the luxury bracket, though not on par with alternative offerings. The restaurant is average, with slow service and disappointing food.

    « Lemonade gone sour. »

My first visit at the Pablo's outlet was around October 2015. The ambience was exactly what you expect, the background music will make you question your own existence on earth. I was served with a glass of lemonade, the taste still tingles my tongue when I think about it. That was the best lemonade I have ever taken, you could tell all the flavours apart but we'll blended, nothing over powering. Every sip was a new burst of sparkle in my mouth. So I gave Pablo's a visit a week or so when Nairobi was sunny again, consumed in my excitement I ordered a lemonade with all anxiety and craving I had. But alas! The glass was different, I was after what's inside anyway maybe they changed how they serve it, but no worries. First sip and I could feel the hatred the chef had towards me. So I called back the waitress and asked her to take it back and make it more tantalizing. As she walked towards me the second time I was so sure I was going to enjoy this one. If heaven wasn't punishing me well enough, the second sip was even worse. It's like someone was treating me for a cold I had three weeks prior only that this concoction was cold. If only the same chef who served me my first lemonade at Pablo's in October did this one too, I would be a happy woman. Or it could be he/she had a high after listening to Beyonce's new album, lemonade, and decided to give it a practical try, who knows? #bringbackmylemonade.

    « Good Business Hotel »

The hotel is quite central. The rooms are quite big and are very nicely decorated and practical. The only issue was the WiFi that didn't work in the room (actually in the entire floor) and although I asked a few times to fix this issue nothing was done. The breakfast was quite good and so is the Bar/Restaurant in the roof. The service staff was very friendly in general although the quality of the service wasn't great and I needed to ask for certain things a few times until they were brought up

    « Nice Hotel »

I had the good fortune to stay at this hotel during a recent business trip to Nairobi. This is a very nice facility with nice furnishings. Security is tight these days in Nairobi, but is also much appreciated. The staff is very attentive. I will not hesitate to stay here in the future.

    « Terrible...hotel accommodating hooligans »

My friend is currently staying at Best western but after today, he is leaving to move to my hotel (Intercontinental Nairobi) which is much better as per what we experienced. I was visiting him today and we decided to go to the pool area. At first, we were shocked because we were made to pay 1,000 Shillings ($10) to access the pool area which is ridiculous seeing as my friend was already staying at the hotel. The people at the registration desk even had the nerve of joking that we should pay more since we are white. We should have left then but since we wanted to have a drink, we paid and went inside. As soon as we were seated and instead of being served, we had to be moved to another table as the one we were seated on was "reserved" for what we were told was a VIP. We were hurriedly moved to another table which we did not get service for what seemed like hours. So, the VIP members came and needless to say, they looked and acted more like hooligans than the VIP we expected as they chanted and shouted while others were indecently exposing their bodies. If you are looking for somewhere to take your family, avoid Best Western hotel. We were actually scared as some of them looked at us while talking in their native language while laughing. The worst part is when I found a GIRL in the mens washrooms and after informing a waiter, I was told that she is part of the hotel's VIP guests who a pool party was organized in their honor. People have parties all the time but Best Western needs a lesson in planning private parties. Rule one is closing off the area to other members of public or hotel guests who might not be in the party "mood". Needless to say, I shall not be going back to this hotel and can advise all who are travelling to avoid this hotel if you don't have personal security guards. Worst hotel experience.

    « Perfect ... »

The hotel is strategically located with access to a thw Yaya mall, three major hospitals the CBD. The rooms are neat & clean and with all the necessary amenities. A well stocked fridge with variety of snacks n drinks (alcoholic, non alcoholic & energy drinks). Wifi is great I could stream my favorite program online without a hitch. The rooftop has an amazing view of the city both during the day and night. They have a pool at the rooftop and a well equipped gym

« Excellent property in a good location »

Stayed at the Best Western in Nairobi for three nights during a business visit. The rooms are great, clean and well furnished. The wifi works great, was a key thing especially when I travel on work. The bathroom is also good and clean. The staff is also fantastic. It's a short walk to a number of eating joints and shopping mall. Definitely visit the roof top restaurant. It has a great view of Nairobi city and the cafe on the ground floor also serves good food.

    « Home away »

Short business trips are always hectic especially if you're from an entirely different continent. It's important that one feels secure & the comforts closest to being home are met. The staff at the hotel are extremely polite, helpful and make an effort to remember your name. The service is efficient & prompt. I only wish the breakfast buffet had more options but this really isn't a complaint. Thank you for making my visit a memorable, safe one. And i shall be back!

    « Disssappointment/Beware »

I was charged for breakfast when I checked into the hotel and wasn't told this until afterwards. I might have done opted for something else if I'd known that I'd be charged for breakfast. The breakfast buffet for two people was almost $50 so I probably wouldn't have done that if I'd known that. This wasn't explained at check in at all. As a matter of fact, the gentleman at check in told us that breakfast was still being served which led me to believe that when he said breakfast was included, it applied to the check in day as well. My overall experience was very good however this was disappointing...

    5
« Excellent Rooms and Food »

The hotel would be great quality in areas of europe or the US. Carpeted floors, comfortable linens, and lots of space. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and I had great meals at dinner time as well. Also decent gym. Would love to say here again on a return visit to Nairobi.

« hovering waiter and ''blah'' food. »

we were a group of 14. twas my moms birthday. sat downstairs, the outside area, where there's the camera with the red light facing the table (we weren't gonna steal your cutlery).... then we got a young lady waiter, who hovered...and hovered..... and made us all VERY uncomfortable. she then proceeded to rush us with the cheque. the food was blaah.... the portions completely NOT worth the price. and she asked us to pay Ks.2000 to cut the cake at the table. lmao. so we made our way to the parking lot and cut it there. i mean, wow. we will NOT be returning. NO.

    « Perfect roof top »

I settled for the roof top bar ,for a friends birthday surprise dinner, and it was amazing , the food was yummy , and served in large portions as well, the view of the city from the rooftop great!!!Tuvei kudos to you and the food and beverage team

    3
« Club in the hotel »

The first thing we noticed when we arrived was that the top floor was in fact a night club, which was awesome. We put our stuff down and went upstairs for some drinks and snacks. The vibe was insane but a really cool experience and you couldn't hear a thing from the rooms so I still slept like a baby. I'm sure this is just a Saturday thing because the next morning everything was orderly and tranquil. The breakfast was fine and the staff is exceptionally friendly. It was a pretty surreal experience and would definitely go back.

« One of my very favorite hotels! »

After my fifteenth visit to Africa, and my third visit to Nairobi and to the Best Western Premier Hotel, I can say without hesitation that this hotel is one of my very favorite hotels in Africa or anywhere. Everything about it works well--the rooms are lovely, spacious, and comfortable. The beds and bedding are delightful. The internet is highly reliable. Both restaurants, Pablo and Mezze are very good with an excellent range of options and a very serviceable wine list. Breakfasts, which come with the price of the room, offer a great range of options and are excellent. The work-out room looks out over the city and is excellent. I love the roof top bar and restaurant with its busy cosmopolitan clientele and the evening jazz performances. I was on the 3rd floor and was not at all bothered by noise from the music. And, the best of all--each and every employee I encountered, from wait staff to cleaners to concierge, were warm, courteous, and prompt. The price is excellent for a major city. I feel very welcome and very safe in this hotel. Heartily recommend. Thanks to manager Geoffrey for making my two week stay such a pleasure. JH

    « good but it's not 5 stars »

Rather good hotel. The swimming pool is on the roof, but only for four people (4 beach beds only and the pool is small either). The other inconvenient that by lift you can only reach your own floor, so if you arrive in team, ask for the room in the same floor. The rest it's OK.

    5
    « Absolutely fantastic customer service! ! »

Shared dinner with family and friends at Pablo's. Food was great, and Joy, our waitress made the experience even better! She's polite, patient, and great at her job! She deserves a promotion for sure. I'll definitely be back whenever in Nairobi, Kenya.

    2
    « Don't stay here on Thursday - Saturday »

Good rooms, nice food, nice bar. What you'd expect for the price you pay. But - roof top bar/lounge plays music so loud Thursday-Saturday it can be heard 4 floors below. After complaints it still wasn't turned down. Also, swimming pool awkwardly placed next to the bar where meetings are ongoing, so it's rarely used. Sunday-Wednesday it's OK, but at the weekend: avoid staying here if you want a good night's sleep.

    4
« Perfect Roof Top Bar! »

I only came for a drink at the roof top bar and could have stayed for so many more. Great DJ (mix of rock and classic), amazing drinks (try the ones with passion juice) and hookah with a wonderful view over the city. A very special flair of Nairobi.

    5
    « Excellent hotel! »

Nairobi is not known for the quality and choice of hotels - and if you go for higher end, you'd probably end up at the Serena hotel ( which is very good). This hotel is contemporary, with beautiful and large rooms, excellent service , and an amazing "mezze terraces" on the roof to enjoy drinks and tapas with a beautiful view over Nairobi. I really recommend it for business travelers although I am sure families will appreciate the place as well !

    « MY 19TH BIRTHDAY DINNER! »

I decided to host my 19th birthday here at the Pablo's restaurant which is in Best Western ground floor...IT WAS SO LAST MINUTE but the staff, they pulled it off so well....Thank you to one of your main staff at the restaurant GEOFFREY he made sure everyone was satisfied and comfortable..food was pre prepared and we did not have to wait for more the ten minutes for good. They cater for all foods, asian, italian, classic etc name them! I will share just a few photos

    5
« The obvious choice for business or pleasure travelers »

The rooms are clean and pleasant and the breakfast buffet provides abundant choices. There is excellent wifi everywhere in the hotel and printing is available in the lobby. The staff, at every level, are efficient and friendly. Geoffrey, the general manager, was both vigilant and gracious and was obviously committed to providing whatever was necessary for the comfort and convenience of his guests. We had reserved for the first 3 nights of our trip and were so pleased with our stay that before we left for another destination we reserved a room for our return to Nairobi ten days later.

« Great value for money and service »

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The presentation of food is good and it is tasteful. I felt welcome from being greeted at the main gate till the day of departure. Concierge service is impeccable, I would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in the old city

    « Birthday »

Hosted close friends for my birthday on 27th afternoon at the roof top restaurant. The view of the city was epic and the breeze was very cool considering Nairobi is very hot at the moment. Service was excellent from booking of the venue to the serving of the food and drinks by the one and only David....cool guy indeed and follow up by the Restaurant manager Peter and Geoffrey, thumbs up. Highlight of the day....when you guys sang for me Happy Birthday.....you should form a band!!!! Will be glad to come again n again n again.

« Good service, But noisy! »

I was here for lunch...I liked the continental menu they provided, the staff were great and supportive (at least we had our phones charge while we ate). Nice parking, close to the main road. The area is so noisy though; owing to the main roads so close. It's worse during lunchtime when everybody seems to be rushing within and about!

    5
« Best Western is best »

Stayed at Best Western Nairobi on a few occasions and really enjoyed it. Nice rooms, good breakfast and two restaurants to choose from of which one is on the roof of the hotel. Security very strict. Car searches when entering the premises and baggage search when entering the hotel as well as metal detector. Well equiped gym also available on top floor. Will definitely visit again.

    4
« good value for Nirobi »

We are experienced African travelers from the USA and found the BW Premier to be very modern, newer, and comfortable. It has very nice beds, bathrooms, elevators, and air conditioning. Located just outside of the downtown area it is fairly quiet and safe, but there is not much within walking distance. The breakfast and restaurant meals were good quality and fair price by western standard; but not outstanding. Pool on the roof is small, but the deck has a great view. The staff was attentive and helpful; security was adequate. It is a reasonably priced option where most will feel clean and comfortable, an escape from the dirt and chaos of every day life in Kenya.

    3
    « It's okay »

Food is good nothing out of the ordinary though..I feel like I expected better ..a bit too expensive considering it's not Gourmet..wine was good though..could be better especially with service staff....

« Spectacular view of Nairobi »

« a nice way to stop over in NBO »

I stayed only one night, but I won't mind to prolong my permanence there. The hotel is comfortable, the service good, the staff friendly and caring. I enjoyed the facilities, gym and pool and mostly the great top roof lounge with an incredible view of NBO. Strongly suggested.

« Nice Stay, Central Location »

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. It was a very comfortable stay - clean, quiet, and good food in the restaurant (just watch some of the prices). We took day trips each day, and it was a great place to come back to unwind and relax (not sure if there's too much to do here if you don't book daily excursions for yourself). All in all, good sleeps and never felt unsafe.

    « Bitter pill »

It's unfortunate that after a referral from a business associate had to struggle on traffic from gigiri to come and host a business Forum at your facility. It all started very well at the entrance normal security procedures were done.proper identification was done .the terrible part your head of security kept me at the foyer /lobby for 15min which ate into our timings. Despite proper identification your head of security adamantly denied my/our patronage and a business opportunity was lost for your facility.

« Running a workshop at Best Western Nairobi »

This is a great hotel for business meetings. However, the proximity to Argwings Kodhek Road makes it difficult to hear your delegates if you are booked into Tana Room. If you have a training session, avoid the Tana Room. Otherwise, a great place to hold business discussions

Came for a night out with my friends at The ciroc bar and liked it. The view from there is breathtaking. The decor is splendid. Staff are friendly and helpful. Best place around that area. Referred several people and they were not disappointed. Keep it up.

« Good restaurant, Slick Rooftop Bar, Friendly Staff, One of the better choices in the area; »

I had a quick two night stay at this hotel. It offers everything you'd expect, friendly staff, good restaurant on premises, nice rooftop bar and pool area. A good choice when traveling on business, and one of the better choices of hotels in the upper Nairobi area.

    « Second home »

with the good service of friendly staff, quick positive response to any demands I love the momentum of the hotel always seeing new ppl coming / leaving the restaurant is very good its one of the restaurants which you would dine in even if u werent staying at the hotel rooms are new, clean and well maintained

    « Value for money! »

I stayed 6 nights at the hotel on a business trip and was very pleased with Service, Standard, and Location. I also used the hotel on several occasions for meetings incl. the restaurant/bar at the top terrace; worked well.

« Good food, good accommodation! »

This is my choice for Nairobi now, because is closer to my office. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with all amenities, and good internet. I always enjoy the restaurant on the top, with the ethnic food available, and the restaurant staff. The gym is also great, open and empty early in the morning! This is the perfect business hotel in Nairobi. However, the staff at the reception seems not very motivated. For several times now, I was not offered the best service when check in and checking out. I wonder why?

    3
« Business visitor base but prepare for poor wifi »

Best Western seems popular with business visitors. Not really a choice for leisure. Rooms are comfortable and clean with a stocked fridge and fluffy robes. WiFi is very poor, a week of unsuccessful connection for myself and colleagues despite the assigned IT support. Can be frustrating for business visitors. Breakfast offered a choice of options and I recommend the Masala chai. Dinner in the restaurant down stairs was mediocr, with my colleague put in a position to argue the principles of trade description. There is a gym and a rooftop pool but if you are on business, the opening timeslot does limit opportunity to use the facilities. Taxis can be easily summoned nearby to reach better restaurants.

    5
    « Excellent Experience »

The hotel was good with well equipped facilities, wonderful service in a quiet environment. I was impressed with the type of service I was given. Staffs speaking good English and always ready to be of assistance.

    « Very professional reception »

Our event was for a small group of people for a wedding reception. Michael, the general restaurant manager if I'm not mistaken, really made an excellent effort to host our small group of 12 from midday until 8 pm. Very pleased with his performance. Another highlight was Lucky, whose exact role I regret I've forgotten, was very professional. Anyway the room was perfect. Last but not least was the waitress whose name I can't recall... The 5th of November 2015. Very professional and friendly. You know who you are... The night's sleep was perfect and so was the breakfast. The only small regret is that we couldn't have the club for our little group to pump up the African beats but well... maybe next time.

    5
    « Fantastic starters at Pablo's »

Having been to the rooftop deck at the beginning of the year and disliking their food, we opted to try out the main restaurant, Pablo's, located on the ground floor. My friend and I visited on the evening of Sunday 1st November. Since we weren't too hungry, we ordered bitings consisting of the barbeque chicken wings and vegetable spring rolls. The wings were fingerlicking good and were served with a tasty garlic mayonnaise. The spring rolls could use more stuffing but they were delicious all the same. Their tree tomato juice was very fresh too. Pablo's is fairly priced and portions are generous. We were served by Irene who was very friendly and professional. I will definitely be coming back soon.

    4
    « Good comfortable hotel »

I like this hotel, the staff are efficient and very friendly, clearly well trained. The food is quiet good. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Perfect for a business trip. The hotel is located just outside of the city centre so you don't have deal with the city traffic, this however does not mean it's quiet. The one complaint that I had was that there was noise coming through from the rooms around, this should be checked out

    4
« Nice hotel and great staff »

I stayed here 3 times in September 2015 and I really liked it. Although it is not perfect, it it still a nice hotel and worth considering if you are in Nairobi. The room was nice and well appointed. the bathroom was nice size and overall a very nice hotel. It is a bit far from the Nairobi city center, but in a way that is nice if you are looking for a nice quiet relaxing hotel stay. The in hotel restaurant was very good and there are some other restaurants within walking distance, but if you want to go to the city center you would have to take a taxi. Would I stay here again? Definitely YES

    5
    « Guest service »

The staff are amazing, very cooperative, very mindful of guest needs. It is stylish, the roof top restaurant is definitely the highlight of the hotel. The lit night fire is an ingenious idea for those of us who love to enjoy the night and not freeze in it... And the food is plenty. :) Value for money

    3
« Beds are not for tall people »

The hotel design is stylish and staff friendly but there are issues: Wi-Fi was slow and erratic. The queen bed was too short at just over 190 cm. The roof-top 'restaurant' was closed at 10.15 pm on a Saturday. A missed opportunity, for the view is great. The ground floor restaurant is quite good. No bacon for breakfast but there is nice coffee and decent cheese selection.

    4
    « Very good »

very good hotel with thrust on guest security, cleanliness and comfort. Need to upgrade room furniture with two guest sharing the room There needs to be clear marking and demarcation for the veg and non veg cuisines served in the breakfast

    4
« Great place to stay »

I have stayed several times at this hotel, the rooms are modern and clean. The TV channels are limited thou, breakfast is ok but I found the hot selection limited for western tastes...you can get into town from the hotel by cab in about 15 mins (traffic permitting) and the airport about 40 mins...roof pool has great view of the city (particularly at night)

    3
    « I expected more »

The hotel is ok, the rooms are big enough though my bathroom was a bit small and needed renovation. The Internet was not great, the bathroom has also a bad odour of cigarette smoke, the TV turned on by itself at 6 am, breakfast was fine, nothing special, also because they bring you a fancy Bodum press-down coffee brewer but they must put very little coffee in it because it turns out very weak all the time.

    5
« An amazing Sunday Brunch in Nairobi, fabulous ambience »

Though its been a week since my travel and back from Nairobi to Singapore, I felt this had to be placed on records, about an amazing discovery on my last Sunday in Nairobi- the Sunday Brunch at Pablo's Restaurant ( hope I got that name right) with my hosts/business mates in Nairobi. The food was just great, and perfect timing, if I could mention - just right to wake up and walk up to a session of a great spread. You guys know how to pamper a Sunday tummy :) Loved your wine. Be back surely for my next trip mid-November. Great Service too.

« Excellent for what it is. »

This was never meant to be a reminder of colonial Nairobi with beautiful gardens and staff dressed in tuxedos. It is a basic, western-grade business hotel, and as such, it is great! The rooms are quiet, clean , comfortable, but the biggest thing is, after about 10 stays, that everything works all the time. There is always power, internet, satellite TV, reasonable food, and good service. The location is good for the places I need to go to. They pay attention to security. I wish that that the traffic to the airport was not so scarring, but that is not the hotel's fault. I have stayed here many times and hope to many times again in future.
