« Awesome hotel for families »

We stayed 4 nights over thanksgiving weekend with 2 adults and 3 kids. This hotel is an excellent place for kids and the property is well kept. Everything was always clean and the staff was very helpful. Location was also great, right in the middle of downtown Moab so we didn't have to drive to have multiple options for dining out.

    « Weekend away »

We always stay at the Canyonlands Best Western, they are in the middle of town and easy walk to restaurants and shops. They proved a safe parking for our trucks and trailers Rooms are clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful

    « Great location ! »

This hotel is in a perfect location in Moab. You can walk to plenty of shops, restaurants and other amenities in the town. The hotel is very comfortable and clean. The free breakfast was ok and did the job. They offer some treats in the lobby like cookies ,very tasty ! We did not use the pool but it looked inviting .This is a perfect place to stay when visiting Arches and Canyonlands National Park.

    « Location »

Mom, dad and two grown girls stayed in a two-queen room while on vacation. Room was recently updated and had all the amenities you need. Shower, toilet and sink behind a door. Another sink across from the closet right near the entrance to the restroom which helps with so many girls in the same room. Location is right in the middle of Main Street shops. Was perfect for us.

    « Great location »

We enjoyed our stay here--comfortable rooms, well-maintained facility. There is a lot of attention to detail. One of the hotel's best features is its location. You can walk to several good restaurants.

« Clean rooms in the perfect location in Moab! »

My daughter and I stayed here 7 nights while we visited Arches and Canyon Lands National Parks. Very clean rooms, friendly service and within walking distance to just about everything in Moab. Reasonably priced with a good free breakfast. We would definitely stay here next time we visit Moab.

« Great experience at Best Western Canyonlands »

My granddaughter and I arrived at the Best Western Plus Canyonlands in Moab after a harrowing experience (I hit a deer) and no transportation to Salt Lake City. The extremely courteous and helpful staff helped us get organized, arrange transportation, and get us and our considerable amount of luggage to the bus stop. The accommodations were clean and attractive. The best hotel breakfast on our trip!

    « Great stay! »

The Best Western Plus Canyonlands Inn in Moab will not disappoint. It is a great facility with amazing customer service. They will go out of their way to make your stay both comfortable and memorable. Will, at the front desk, went out of his way to help me when I noticed that I had forgot a needed item (my belt) and was running late for a meeting.

« Nice sized modern room. Great Hot tub. Nice lobby and vibe. »

Handy location in downtown Moab (which seemed very charming). Lobby very nice with lots of treats and beverages, excellent staff. Room was very pleasant and comfortable. Fantastic hot tub, really unique and super fun in the freezing cold. Typical but pleasant breakfast. Walking distance to lots of downtown amenities.

    « Outstanding Value »

Professional, helpful, friendly staff. This hotel has the best breakfast of any that I have ever experienced. We have traveled extensively throughout the world and have never had a more enjoyable experience, from check in through check out. I would recommend this facility to anyone visiting Arches and Canyon Lands National Parks.

« Clean, modern hotel in great location »

Very nice modern hotel right in the center of Moab perfect for walking to local shops and restaurants. Also a short drive to Arches Park entrance and other attractions. Clean spacious and quiet rooms with good amenities. Free Parking and wifi and pretty good breakfast. Highly recommend, would stay again.

    4
« Comfortable and convenient stay »

While the hotel is a bit dated, its location could not be better. From here you can walk to restaurants and shops in quaint Moab. Arches National Park is about 5 miles away and will require 2 or 3 days if you are in this area. Nothing here beyond normal expectations of a chain hotel in this category (e.g., free breakfast, free wifi, cookies in the evening in the lobby, etc.), but the place seems to be well maintained and the location very convenient.

    5
    « Great Place! »

Stayed 2 weeks and am thankful we booked here. CLEAN! HELPFUL Employees! Great location so we could hike all day, get cleaned up and walk to several places for dinner. The breakfast crew guys were quite nice. We give this 5 out of 5 and happy to do so.

    5
« Great Homebase for Moab Adventures »

Clean and spacious room with attentive housekeeping and front desk staff. The breakfast room would get busy and crowded during peak times, but the staff kept it clean and the tables accessible. The pool and hot tub were clean and wonderful to use after a day out in the national parks. The hotel is located in the middle of town and was easy walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Definitely recommend this hotel as a base of operations if you are visiting Moab and the surrounding national parks.

    « A comfortable night »

I would recommend this hotel for anyone that is in the Moab area. Very clean and comfortable. It had everything I needed to stay on top of business while I was there, and the location was in the middle of town, very convenient to everything.

« awesome moab stay, easy access to NPS »

typically, i'm not a big fan of hotels. i'm more of an airbnb person but i stayed here because my friends picked it for our weekend trip. i'm not sure what people are complaining about because it's clean, cookies every evening at 7pm, centrally located in moab with easy access to the nps', and free breakfast! we were right by the breakfast room and didn't even hear a peep so maybe we got lucky. the only "complaint" i have is the pull out was severely uncomfortable but when is a pull out every comfortable? the staff was awesome, friendly - they were attentive in giving us extra pillows, blankets and towels. A++++

« Fantastic location, super room and breakfast included! »

Loved it here, wish we had been staying longer. The hotel is on the main street in Moab but there is plenty of parking and more than one entrance depending on whereabouts in the hotel your room is. We were on the ground floor and whilst we didn't have a view to speak of, the room was one of the very best we had on our tour. We had loads of space, the room was well equipped and very clean and also lovely and quiet. We had been left vouchers for a nearby restaurant and trading post, both of which we took grateful advantage of and there was plenty of information in the room as to local attractions, places to eat etc. Breakfast was included and this was also excellent (they have a waffle maker - yay!) and the staff were continually checking the food was fresh and hot and plentiful. You can sit out on the balcony as well as inside. There is also a swimming pool here but I didn't get chance to use it, sure looked good though. Apart from the above, the location of this hotel is fantastic. You are just a few minutes away from Canyonlands Islands in the Sky District and Arches National Park, both of which are awesome. (Be aware that to visit the Needles District you need more time as it is quite a way south - we did this en route from Monument Valley). Moab itself is a lovely place with lots of restaurants, shops, gas stations etc. We will be back!

« Nice hotel but noisy room »

I booked this hotel because it seemed the nicest available in the area and with a good breakfast. While I thought that the rate was overpriced for the type of accommodation ($200 w/taxes for one night), it had a good breakfast, pool and location. I would have rated it higher but the location is not good if you have light sleep. I asked for a quiet room and they gave me one that faced a back road, parking lot, garbage cans and a self storage. Needless to say I didn't get much sleep...and they told me that this was the quietest room they had! So, make sure to bring some ear plugs if you stay here (as they don't have them at the front desk).

« Well placed and includes breakfast »

A good location fro both Arches and Canyonlands. Despite being in the centre of Moab it is quiet ( we had a ground floor room). Room is pretty standard motel fare but does have a bath as well as a shower. Real plus after all those hikes. Cookies and coffee available in reception - where a smile would go a long way! Breakfast yes is on paper plates and plastic cutlery but it is included which is great for early starts. And it is a pretty comprehensive affair including make it yourself waffles. Free parking

« nice place in town »

If you are looking for a comfortable, clean, central location in town, this is it. Within walking distance of everything in town. Most of the staff is helpful except for a few at the front desk. Everyone else was great. Wi FI worked really well. Never had a problem. The rooms are Quiet and very roomy. We had a double Queen and it was pefect.

    5
    « Nice hotel »

Despite being downtown we did not find the hotel noisy at all . It is very modern and comfortable . Very pleasant staff . Our room was very nice and we had all the things we needed for our overnight stay . Best of all it was a free night paid with our points ! Would recommend .

    4
« Probably the best hotel in Moab »

This hotel has a prime location as well as great facility. Ample parking, and great (included) breakfast. The hottub and pool are also fantastic. Will definitely stay here next time we're in Moab. Minor Complaints: The HVAC won't let you just run a fan for some whitenoise, and the lights won't stay on in the bathroom etc. Yes I know this is to save energy, but come on, I'm paying to stay the night and use these things, let me use them how I want to.

    2
« Dated hotel/ baffling that it has such high reviews! »

Our experience at this hotel has shaken by belief in the Trip Advisor community. We'd never been to the area before, so I spent quite some time reading all the various reviews, pricing out the various hotels, and hoping for the best. I agree with another reviewer- this is more like a Best Western minus than a standard or plus. We knew it as soon as we drove up. Yes, it's in the heart of Moab- so if that kind of location is what you're looking for then this is for you. However, we were first turned off by the less than desirable looking person checking in before us and spitting out his snuff in front of the hotel. We walked in and were amazed that after going to the 2nd floor for our hotel we had to go a few steps when we got down the hallway. We always check out the room before we bring our luggage up- so we couldn't figure out what kind of hotel designs their floors like that!!?? We didn't have to think for too long about how we were going to carry our luggage down those steps, because as soon as we got into the dark & dingy room, looked out the window to see what kind of view of the beautiful mountains, only to see more undesirables carousing the parking lot, we knew there was no way. The room was very spacious, and the bathroom seemed clean, but it was decorated all in black and dark colors, and there was no way we could even open our curtains to let some light in, that's how creepy the parking lot appeared. Well, I must say the front staff was very accommodating and agreed to refund our money. And because of that I really did hesitate to write this review, but then I remembered that if we had known what to expect in the first place, we would never have booked this hotel. We ended up staying at another hotel, which was 2 miles outside downtown Moab, right near the entrance to Arches, and was surrounded by the beautiful mountains- and for only $10 more than we were to pay at the Best Western. PROS: centrally located in the heart of downtown Moab CONS: dated & dark decor, WAY too expensive for the quality (it was a $75 hotel- NOT the $175 rate we were quoted to pay)

« Good value and comfortable stay »

Our stay in our suite was very enjoyable. The windows open, which allowed fresh air in without running the fan (which is loud even on low) and the refrigerator was quiet (a great relief and unusual in my experiences with hotel fridges). The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. The place is clean and convenient. Be aware that the luggage cart won't go directly to some rooms because of stairs in the second floor hallway.

    4
    « Great location »

Great hotel located in the heart of Moab, at walking distance of shops and restaurants. Friendly staff at the reception, quick check-in. Our room was large, had a couch and a lounge chair and fridge. There is a wonderful covered patio with a firepit on the second floor from where you have a nice view. The breakfast bar has a large variety of cold and warm items. Would definitely stay here again.

    « Recent visit. »

This lodging is located right in the middle of town, very convenient to all shopping (such as it is), restaurants, etc. It is very well maintained, is clean, the staff is helpful and alert to everything. The rooms are quite large, especially with two queen beds. Breakfast is excellent, well presented and coffee is available at all times. Our only issue is that one must not take a room over the pool, which doesn't close until 10PM when the entire pool area is locked. It can be quite noisy at times. Other than that this is an excellent choice for a visit to Moab. On busy weekends, however, it can be pricey, with rooms around $300.

    4
    « Visiting the parks »

I liked the fact it is the busy part of town surrounded by restaurants and stores. The room was lovely and a great free breakfast included plus $62 less than the Hampton Inn nearby. The view from the hotel are fantastic.

    4
    « Great Location »

Great Location. A step up from the Best Western across the street. Rooms are more modern and feel more open & spacious. Closer to the best restaurant in Moab: the Desert Bistro. My one complaint is that the AC is incredibly noisy!

    4
    « Can't Beat Location »

Lots of restaurants in this cozy town, all within easy walking distance to hotel. Our room was large and well-appointed. Wall art and appealing furniture reflected the western surroundings. Big plus for the bathroom, with automatic lights and two counters. Couldn't ask for a better beds and adjustable reading lights. A pretty good breakfast buffet rounded out an enjoyable two-day stay.

lovely facility, great location, professional and friendly staff, and numerous environmentally friendly products and practices. our stay was pleasant and comfortable. recommend this hotel very highly!

« Moab, Utah - Best Western Plus »

I was with a road bicycling group spending 5 days in Moab, Utah. The hotel was centrally located and easy to get on the road. The hotel also had a secure room to keep the bicycles. The breakfast was great. It was easy walking to most of the town, i.e. restaurants, stores.

    4
    « Brilliant »

We had a room on ground level with two nice queen beds. Big, good bathroom, nicely decorated. The staff is friendly in a non intrusive kind of way. The letdown here is the breakfast, we ended up buying our own bananas and fruit to escape the usual over cooked eggs, greasy bacon and poor bread, without speaking about the industrial jam. To top it all, all that is served on plastic bowls and plates together with plastic cutlery. Worse than camping ! I would suggest you negotiate a better rate without breakfast and you eat somewhere else. The resident restaurant Pasta Jay is also a let down. It looks Italian with the squares tablecloths but that is where it stops : come back la Mama !

    4
« Worn out bed, dark room, clean, good location »

I recommend this hotel, it was clean, renovated, ideal location, good breakfast. We found the beds to be worn out, and did not sleep very well during the 3 nights we were there. The rooms are very large, but feel dark. The hotel put super bright light bulbs, but I think the problem is that the room is long and narrow and not much natural light flows in (no big deal, you are only using it for sleep). If you can live with the price, you wont have any other concerns staying here.

    5
« A Very Fine location with wonderful service »

We had the pleasure of staying here for 3 consecutive days. I wish it could have been more. The Best Western is situated in the heart of Moab with proximity to retaurants and shops. There is a supermarket nearby but it was a little too far to walk. Your nice experience begins with the extremely helpful staff on the front desk. Every one was welcoming and was a pleasure to deal with. They have been trained very well. There were no safes in the room but the Front Desk will lock up your valuables in their safe. There was lots of parking perhaps because there were bus tours staying there. Several parking spots even had chargers available for electric cars. The pool area was cleaned regularly and the pool attendant was cheerful too, despite all the bright yellow Cottonwood leaves that fell from the surrounding very pretty trees. The hot tub spa was clean and inviting too. Rooms were excellent in every way. Cleaning staff were evident as they vacuumed carpets and so on. The place was always clean and inviting. The breakfast buffet was superb with lots of choice of everything you might want.I particularly enjoyed the fresh cut fruit bowl. It was also good to observe the cook behind a partial partition preparing the eggs in a very sanitary kitchen area. This is really a very fine place to stay. There was a very comfortable patio on the second floor. On the south side, it overlooked the pool. On the north side, a pretty gas fire pit was available to take the chill out of the night air.

    « Overall Greatness! »

As a party of 4 we all had a great time staying at the Best Western Canyonlands. The hotels location is perfect! Right in the heart of downtown Moab with easy access to all the restaurants and shops. The lobby is a good size, check in was fast. They have cookies at night and a lemon water cooler. The room was a large size with a nice bar/fridge area. The bathroom was spacy and the additional outside sink helps when there's a few people sharing a room. The breakfast was one of the best I've seen for a Best Western. Tons of options, there was an actual cook and you could smell the freshness of the food ( not powered eyes). Fruits, juices, cereal you name it. The pool area was super nice and the hot tub was a must after a day of hiking. The only thing I thought was odd is that on the floor of the rooms there's 4 stairs after the elevator and in the hallway which makes it interesting to get the luggage, etc. But it was so big deal.

    4
    « Great Location + Good price »

This hotel is within walking distance of every place we needed. Across from information center which was great for us. Good breakfast, friendly staff. Great hot tub/spa. I never use these because I'm a germ-a-phob but this one was clean and was inviting.

    5
    « just gorgeous »

Love this place and it is home from home. The staff are amazing and very helpful with any questions! And we had a few !!! it is perfectly located to see all of Moab. The breakfast is included and the coffee 24/7 you can park virtually outside your room to. A huge plus when you have a ton of bags to carry. Would def stay there again.

    « Scam »

I booked a a suite .I cancelled my reservation over a month in advance but the property refused to issue me a refund and charged me $350.00.I went to the hotel and and spoke to the manager and they were very rude and refused my request even though I had a phone record showing I placed the cancellation call. I would never ever book there again.Be careful

« One night stay with a clear conscience »

Very good experience with no problems. Extremely comfortable room and bed. Breakfast was one of the best I have seen and enjoyed for a complimentary service. Great location in the heart of Moab. Perfect choice for proximity to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks.

    5
« Very nice, excellent location »

My wife and I stayed here in early October on a hiking trip to Canyonlands, Arches and Dead Horse parks. The location is excellent, close to a number of good restaurants, Jeffreys if you want to spend a bit more and get an excellent steak and Miguels for outstanding Mexican food. The rooms were very nice, large and clean. The staff was excellent, providing some good advise about restaurants, etc. The breakfast buffet was fine, with a range of choices.

    5
    « Great Service »

We were really happy with all aspects of this hotel, especially the very helpful staff. The location was great and the pool facilities were wonderful. All in all, we thought this was a great place to stay in Moab.

    « Scenic parks tour!!! »

Had two mites hear @ best western canyonland very centrally located. Had a 2 bed room ,very roomy &a clean had a nice Electric outlet on nite stand . Had a free brakefast with was very good. Also had washer & dryers in basements.

    4
    « Good location »

Spacious well equipped rooms, very clean. Well located for the National Parks and easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Breakfast is however not great , self serve, with eggs and bacon ready cooked in hot buffet servers. Bread and croissants not particularly fresh but we found this everywhere. They use paper plates with plastic cutlery, which is not pleasant to use . These all go into waste as Moab apparently has no recycling.

    4
« Very Convenient to Arches National Park »

The hotel is in a great location, conveniently located within walking distance to numerous restaurants. It is only about 5 miles from Arches National Park. Our room was very nice, roomy, and modern. Unfortunately it was by the swimming pool on the ground floor so it was very noisy until about 10pm. The bathroom wasn't completely spotless, I found a few hairs presumably from a previous customer. Also, I neglected to ask about the fees so the final cost was a bit pricier than I had expected. Aside from the temporary noise and the unexpected price, though, it was a very pleasant stay.

    4
« perfect for arches and canyonlands parks »

We had a very nice room, clean and quiet. The breakfast at the Best Western was also good, you have everything from fruit and jougourt to American breakfast. The room was clean and nice with a confortable king bed. You can walk to all the restaurants and you can park your car at the hotel for free. I would recommend this hotel in Moab!!

    5
« Great place to stay »

I was extremely impressed with the Best Western in Moab, Utah. I would highly recommend that you contact them first for your future plans and travel. The staff and amenities were very good. Great location and great parking made my stay very good.

    4
« Excellent Rooms and Location »

We travel a lot, domestically and internationally. This is one of the best hotels in it's price range and for its location that we have seen. Great rooms - the family/double room suites are one of the best we've seen anywhere in the world in terms of value for money. Breakfast could be lots better though, in terms of selection and service.

    5
« Excellent Hotel and Location »

We were surprised at the quality of this hotel and location. Exceptionally decorated and very spacious rooms. Location is in the center of town ... Walk to everything. Free breakfast is above average. Oversized hot tub.

    « Arches/Canyonlands »

Excellent hot Breakfast. Warm greetings from staff. Very clean rooms. Easy travel to Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park. Also did Jet Boat ride on the Colorado River and visited the Anasazi cliff dwellings.

« Centrally Located in Moab, UT »

Consistency is the word that best describes Best Western and Canyonlands BW was just that. I enjoyed the central location in the heart of Moab, UT, close to parks and activities. Room was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. Good breakfast selections, but could use a little extra room for additional tables as there looks to be a lot of tour busses in town,

    5
« A bit pricey, but worth it! »

My boyfriend and I recently stayed here for three nights from 9/5-9/7. We were in Moab to visit Canyonlands & Arches National Park and selected this hotel due to its central location and reviews. This hotel provided the best housekeeping service of all the 7 hotels we stayed at during our 2 week vacation in Utah. They even ensured that our ice bucket was emptied with fresh plastic bags each day. The room was very spacious and clean. What I enjoyed best was having two bathroom sinks, as it gave us a lot of room. I also noticed that four individual reading lights were mounted on the backboard of of both beds. This was a nice touch and allowed both of us to get the lighting we each needed. The location of this hotel is also fantastic. It's right in the heart of Moab and next to several great restaurants, shops and bookstore. Third, the dining area on the second floor was very relaxing You could select from regular tables, family sized tables and cushioned chairs at the end of a busy day. And the complimentary breakfast was very tasty with convenient hours. The only thing I disliked was that the floors are split level and had 2-3 stairs to go down. This made it difficult when you have lots of luggage, as you can't go too far with the luggage cart. The staff even allowed us to keep our luggage there after we checked out. We wanted to get a few morning hikes in at Arches before we left Moab and were concerned about our car being broken into. They accommodated us and were so gracious about it. I recommend this hotel and hope to return back again one day!

    « Amazing Moab »

Great stay at the Best Western Plus Canyonlands. Friendly staff, good breakfast which you can enjoy outside on the patio. Great swimming pool too and right in town, just steps away from restaurants, bars and shops. Moab is a great destination to visit! National parks are awesome!

    « The Best best western !!! »

We stayed 4 nights while visiting Arches and Canyonlands Parks. We had the presidential suite and it was perfect. Large, Very clean, it looked like it has been renovated recently and the kitchenette was sparkling. The bed was comfortable, there was a huge bathtub in the bedroom and a shower in the bathroom. You could take your breakfast on the rooftop terrace with gorgeous views of the mountains. The breakfast itself was what you can expect in BW, no complaint there. The laudry room was clean, we hat no problem with the washer and dryer and there was even a couch with reviews. The pool was not very big but enough to unwind after a super hot day sightseeing. The staff was very nice. The town itself is very cute.

    5
« Large Comfortable rooms in a good location »

We enjoyed the comfort of the room after a day of hiking. We also enjoyed walking to the local restaurants in the evening from the hotel. The breakfast offered many choices. The pool and hot tub were a plus!

    4
« Great place to stop for a visit to the National Parks. »

The room was good, felt that the bead spread dated the location...need new ones. The bed was good though and everything worked well in the room. The floor is not carpeted and using a white hand towel on some water on the floor I found out it was not the cleanest. We used the laundry where they had two wash machines...one was broken. They need new equipment, really old. We used the hot tube...really hot and very clean. Pool looked good, but we did not go in. The breakfast was excellent, no reason to go to a regular restaurant, the food was very good. Great location too, shopping and other restaurants just across the street. And the entrance to Arches National Park was about 5 miles or less...very convenient. Overall a great four day stay exploring the local State and National parks.

    5
    « Best Western »

The Best Western was a very comfortable, centrally located, and clean hotel in downtown Moab. The "restaurant" was in an upstairs in an open area with access to the rooftop lounging and used only for this fabulous breakfast each day. The hot tube was very large! The staff were extremely helpful and always very friendly. We used the laundry room in the basement and had no issues (the dryers actually dried your clothes fast!)

« Best Western Plus Plus »

Nice job here. So impressed with how really clean our room is. Every single corner of the bathroom is as if it's brand new and no one else has ever been here. Pure white tub and sinks. Motion lights, reading lights, and good lighting in the bathroom. Large room and a really large and comfortable bed. To top it all off, the staff here could not be more friendly. I had a problem with the t.v. Remote and it was replaced in just Minutes. The only thing that could make this better is a vanity mirror and Glass glasses. I'd visit here again in a heart beat. Thanks??

« Choose your room carefully »

Good location in town. Nice staff. Clean. Understaffed for breakfast. We were there two nights and found the breakfast area very crowded and needing food replacement both times. Our room was pleasant but only if the shades were drawn as it was on the main route to the nearby swimming pool with large windows taking up most of the wall and we lacked any privacy with raised shades so please pick your room and avoid the pool floor and close view of the pool or you will be living in a dark cave. Having said that, It is probably the best place in town to stay with proximity to restaurants and places of interest. Moab rooms cost more than those in nearby towns, but there aren't any nearby towns, so don't expect bargains.

Very nice hotel...loved the location..loved the staff...however it was pricey but so were all the other hotels in the area. The hotel had many outdoor patios...one at pool side, one looking down at the pool, one looking to the main street looking also at the mountains, and the other one looked to the North, West, and East with a fire pit! Awesome way to watch the sun rise and set!

« Better best western in a way »

We stayed at the Greenwell BW as well so I can compare the two. This one is the nicer appointed of the two. Bigger rooms with nicer furniture. We did not use the pool at Greenwell. This pool was very nice. Hot tub was big and hot. Pool area had chaise lounges and plenty of towels. The breakfast area was up on the top level and had open area seating with a fire box area. It was really nice. The breakfast was average. Eggs, meat, yogurt, waffles, etc. Nothing too exciting but satisfying none the less. There was a little kids playground out back. Maybe 5 and under as it was small but it would give the kids something to do. The location is right in downtown so no driving to shops or dinner. Parking was included. Again compared to the Greenwell this is the nicer BW but the Greenwell is a fine hotel as well albeit without the extra features. Either hotel will provide a good nights rest so pick one and enjoy a Best Western in Moab.

We stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed the quality of the room and bath, sitting area, refrigerator and two sinks. Great central location, yet very quiet. Comfy beds. Large room. Nice breakfast.

    « great room &service »

We stayed in the large suite with private balcony overlooking the main street. It had a partial kitchenette with sink, microwave & refrigerator/freezer with ice maker. one room with king bed & second with two Queens, both very comfortable & nicely decorated. the only draw back was there were only stairs up to the room no elevator. Otherwise it was a great experience & Pasta Jays restaurant was great. The breakfast was delicious & you could eat on balcony outside for a great view.

    « Look no Further »

This hotel is of a decent quality and certainly the best in town. Pool area well kept and nice, breakfast is a bit of a bun fight and the plastic cutlery and paper plates match the quality of the breakfast but there are plenty of other places to eat nearby. Room spacious and bed comfortable. Wifi pretty good.

« Great location, great property »

The staff was extremely helpful and considerate. A guest complained about music from the business next door and the front desk called over and politely asked the business to turn down the volume, which they did! I was suffering from an injured leg and they were very accommodating by putting me in a room that didn't require a lot of steps. The property is well maintained and the pool area was immaculate. I would definitely return on any trip to Moab.

    « Location, location, location »

Moab is a RIP-OFF. Don't get me wrong, Arches National Park is awesome and very beautiful, we just stand in awe of what nature was able to create, but all options of lodging in Moab are soooo expensive that you end up with no choice of having your money's worth except for location. This best western in an average location would've cost at least 1/3 of what actually ended up costing. The staff was super nice, the pool area is great, breakfast also was pretty good but it was very expensive for what if offered after all.

    « A good experience »

This is a really good choice for Moab accommodation. It's so central that everything you need is close by, there are plenty of food options nearby and there is plenty of parking onsite. Our room (229) was clean and well set up and quiet. The buffet breakfasts were good, with quality eggs and ham etc that we haven't found in other Utah stops. The breakfast staff were helpful and were on top of a busy service. Nathan at the front desk was very helpful to us in sorting out some wifi problems we experienced. All in all a good 3 night stay and we'd recommend it to anyone wanting to be in that wonderful area.

    « Very Central - Great Base »

Definitely a step up from the standard Best Western hotels. The rooms are more spacious with better quality furnishings etc. We had a ground floor room which faced the car park. Not a problem as we were only in the room for a few hours. The hotel had a nice outdoor pool, a verandah wrapped around the main hotel building with loungers as well tables and chairs. Nice.

    « Loved this place »

Great location, very nice staff. Good breakfast, with an outstanding deck area upstairs/outside for eating. Decent pool area, fitness center. Walkable to pretty much everything, and an easy drive to the parks. Only issue was the noise of people above us one night -- and the hotel offered to move our packed luggage to a room upstairs while we were out! Worked out great.

« We will return again! »

Wonderful hotel and staff. Convenient location in downtown Moab allowed us to walk to shops and dining. Staff provided great tips/input on places to dine. We were able to extend our stay another night and keep the same room. Breakfast buffet was very nice.

    « Excellent »

We travel frequently throughout the year and always try to stay at a Best Western hotel. The rooms are always clean and breakfast is always great! The beds are the most comfortable we sleep in at chain hotels. I even take a bath instead of a shower because the tubs are clean and inviting.

    5
« Very Accomodating! Great choice if you are taking a tour with Navtec Expeditions! »

Cool, quiet easy to access. Actually, amazingly quiet when you consider the downtown location. VERY accomodating staff - we were able to check in at 3:00 pm in plenty of time for our Arches tour. Navtec Expeditions will pick up here so you don't have to fight the traffic or parking for their tours. We definitely got a very good nights sleep!

« Great Place to Explore Arches , Canyonland and so much more! »

This is a modern, clean, comfortable and busy hotel right off of the main street in Moab. We loved the location. It was very convenient to so many great sites in the area: Arches National Park is just several miles away. Canyonlands National Park and Dead Horse Point are a 30 minute drive. The main street of Moab is filled with great restaurants and interesting shops. We loved being able to walk to everything in the town. Our room (2 queen beds) was quite large and had a microwave and refrigerator and coffee pot. The beds were comfortable and , even though the hotel was completely booked, the rooms were quiet. I had a little trepidation when we were given a room on the ground floor overlooking the parking lot because I thought it might be very loud in the evening. But it was not. Moab is a quiet, peaceful town and also the walls seem very well insulated at this hotel. Breakfast is served upstairs on the balcony. There was plenty of space to accommodate everyone and lots of things to choose from on the buffet. They also have a nice pool area with a jacuzzi. This area does seem a little small for the hotel's customer capacity. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful . I would definitely return to the Best Western Plus Canyonlands Inn on future trips to Moab.

    « Comfortable, clean, perfect »

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and it was perfect to explore the Moab town and the surrounding parks. Its proximity to local restaurants and supermarkets was ideal after having spent a long day in the parks. The staff were all welcoming, the postal service was very helpful, and breakfast, although simple and perhaps lacking in some flavour was open early and had a good range of produce. The rooms themselves were large, very clean and quiet. We made use of the fitness suite and laundry services which were equally clean and very useful. Would highly recommend.

« Great Hotel in Moab »

I do a lot of research when I choose a hotel. This place was not my first choice. This Best Western was available and had decent Trip Advisor reviews so I kept checking it out. I chose it because it looked like a lodge of sorts and it had an outdoor pool right in the middle of downtown Moab. It ended up being a really fabulous choice. The only downfalls were that the lobby is really dated compared to the exterior which at first made me very nervous. It also had a funky system in which depending on where your room was you may have to go up and down a few steps and can't roll a cart to your room. BUT the room was wonderful. It was modern, super clean and had a decent sized window so you could get some natural light in the room. The breakfast buffet was really great and you could sit on the patio and enjoy breakfast. The pool was chilly, but in a pretty setting and the hot tub was honestly the largest hot tub in any hotel I've been to. The staff was very personable as well as had good knowledge of the area. I definitely recommend this place! Enjoy!

« Nice, new hotel, great rooftop porch »

This was a great Best Western Plus. It was roomy, new, had every amenity imaginable. The rooftop porch is amazing with a fire pit, cushioned chairs and pillows and a gorgeous view of the sunset. The air conditioner was slow to respond and noisy during the night but otherwise it was an excellent experience.

« Great resting place for Arches National Park »

This hotel is perfect for those wanting to visit Arches national park. I was pleasantly surprised by the large rooms, strong wifi and comfortable beds. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a restful nights sleep and conveniently placed hotel whilst in Moab.

« Best hotel to stay in at Moab and so close to Arches National Park »

We stayed here for 4 nights and had a lovely experience. It's right in the heart of Moab so you can walk to shops and try different restaurants without driving. It has a swimming pool and a big hot tub with lounge chairs. Our hotel room was spacious with 2 queen beds and a couch and a breakfast buffet was included. Staying in Moab is so convenient to the entrance to Arches National Park which was our main reason for staying there.

    « Great Little Hotel »

This is a great little hotel. Rooms are clean spacious, bathroom wasn't cramped. Served all our need and is conveniently located in Moab. At the center of main dining and shopping area, it's perfect for walking and enjoying this fun little town. Also a shot drive to Arches.

    « Road Tripping »

Great hotel, staff very helpful! Clean large room. In down town area. Close to nice restaurants, next door to 2 different ones. Would stay here again! Bed very comfortable! Very quiet as well. Recommend highly. Nice outside sitting area too!

« Rooms and location are excellent. Front desk staff not very friendly »

The hotel was very clean, has great sunset views from the balcony and the location within town is wonderful! Lots of restaurants and pubs within easy walking distance. A bit pricey and our room didn't offer a view of anything but the parking lot. Unfortunately, we found the staff to be unfriendly and not overly helpful when asked a question. We will be back to Moab next year but are thinking that we will stay elsewhere.

    4
« Nice location, nice pool »

The location of this hotel is perfect when staying in Moab. Walking to all of the restaurants and shops after a long day of hiking was the highlight of our stay here. Our first floor room was large and comfortable. Our room wasn't fancy, but it was clean. Looks like the hotel common areas may have been updated or upgraded fairly recently. The pool area is well done. We used the pool a couple of times during our stay and enjoyed the oatmeal at breakfast each morning. Good to know that if I ever get a Tesla they have charging stations :)

    3
« Staff not very friendly or helpful »

We stay more than 2 months a year at hotels and the way we are treated by staff is very important to us. The hotel is clean, and they have an awesome upper patio that you can enjoy the Moab sunset from. The rooms are nicely decorated and the fitness center is your 'usual hotel fitness center'. Lots of dining options available within walking distance. I love Moab and we will be back but will check out other hotels for my next stay.

« Central location + close to Arches »

Very good location. Close to restaurants and shops. 10 minutes by car to Arches NP. Rooms were ok, but do not expect too much. We did not like breakfast. There is no restaurant in the building of the hotel, but you will find several restaurants very close.

« Very Friendly, Great Place to Stay »

This Best Western was a very friendly and comfortable place to stay. Inside and out, this hotel was very nice and updated. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. Wonderful breakfast. Situated in the heart of town so very nice to walk around to shop and eat. Keep up the good work Best Western Plus Canyonlands in Moab. Loved the town also and Arches and Canyonlands National Parks are amazing.

    « Good central location »

Good location and nice hotel with upstairs restaurant with balcony. Central to Moab, easy to get to Arches, Canyonlands and Dead Horse State Park (this was a great place to go and only $10 entry). The area is fantastic - we stayed here two nights can got to see sunsets and do lots of walking. Staff were helpful - we arrived early so wandered around the town to get our bearings until the room was ready. Rooms were large, well equipped and comfortable. Breakfast was a buffet - fairly standard choices but enough to enjoy including cooking your own fresh waffles.

    4
« Good location, updated chain hotel, reasonable value for money »

Located in center of town, close to cafes, restaurants and shops. Clean, updated decor, good bed and linens, good wifi throughout. Front desk staff warm and respectful. Breakfast OK, pool mediocre. I'd go there again - after checking for other, less expensive alternatives.

    5
« In the center of town »

Hotel was clean, pool was great and the beds were super comfortable. The breakfast room was roomy clean and had everything a person could want. There were even cookies in the lobby every evening. The location was close to just about everything.

« Large rooms, clean, nice outside pool with comfy sunbeds. »

This 2 story hotel has a pleasant holiday atmosphere. The rooms are large with, in our case, 2 queens, tv , fridge, desk and seperate sitting area. Bathroom is 2 parts: shower/bath with toilet and sink ; extra sink with mirror, hairdryer and cupboard with ironingboard. Rooms are very clean, they have a lot of lamps, nice deco and of course airco. They really convey a warm atmosphere. Try to get upper floor rooms so you dont hear the upstairs neighbours walk /run/jump! The beds are very very comfortable with super matrasses and lovely cosy comforters. It was the best sleep sofar. Breakfast is complementary and good, with fresh fruit and the usual food. The breakfast room is on the 2nd floor. You can have your breakfast indoor, but also on the terrace overlooking the parking or, around the corner, the swimmingpool. The pool also has a hot tub. There are some 10 sunbeds and they are very comfortable. The hotel offers fresh chocolate chip cookies every evening. The restaurants on main street are accessable on foot. We really liked this hotel, it gave us the possibility to relax after 2 weeks of heavy travelling.

« Beautiful Moab, Fantastic Hotel »

We came to Utah to visit all the National Monuments...this hotel was completely suited for us! The room was just lovely and the staff was amazing especially when we checked in late, you would think they would be tired...we were for sure but we were greeted by a very very happy person! Breakfast was Best Western delicious and the kitchen staff were so warm and friendly, of course it is always a hoot to see the kids go for the waffle machine. Thank you for always having clean rooms and being accommodating!

« Homebase to explore the region »

My daughter and I stayed here two nights mid summer. It's location was great, right in the middle of town. We walked to restaurants and tourist shopping. My daughter enjoyed the pool in between other adventures. It was close to both Canyonlands and Arches. The room and breakfast was as to be expected from a Best Western. The price was a bit steep but we were paying for location as much as services.

    « Not very kid-friendly »

I traveled far, and with great anticipation, to see this magnificent part of the world. The hotel was average - at most average/plus, but nothing special. What was most disconcerting was the intolerance, in general, to a woman traveling alone with three young kids. The pool was mediocre, and the hotel had little more to offer. Staff were cold and I had the feeling they were always a bit put-out when it came to the kids - not what I was expecting from the family-loving image Utah presented.

    « Very good Hotel »

My daughter and I stayed here on a quick 2 day trip to Moab. I never expect too much in a chain hotel - just clean and safe and decent location. This hotel exceeded expectations. The location was great - no need to drive for dinner. Lots of restaurants and shops close by. Room was great. Breakfast area was good. My favorite part was you can grab breakfast and take it outside to a nice patio - love that. Even in the extreme heat of summer in Moab, it's pleasant in the morning and evening. We bought some beer after a hot day hiking and it was really nice to sit outside and have a cold beverage. The pool looked very inviting - didn't make it there but would have liked to. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

    « Excellent value »

We used this hotel as our base for three days in national parks country. Our room was immaculate, the staff friendly and helpful, the beds really comfortable and the breakfasts adequate. The hotel is located in the center of Moab for easy walking to Main Street shops and restaurants. Fresh lemon water and apples are always On offer with coffee in the lobby. A plus.

« Great Hotel, Great Location »

This hotel is located right in the heart of all the action in Moab. Great restaurants surround it and there is easy access to all the fun things to do. The hotel is clean, staff are friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and nicely furnished. It was a little pricey, but I expected that in the middle of the summer vacation rush and I was aware of the cost before I booked the room. I would definitely stay at this hotel again on any future trips through Moab.

« Could have been nice »

Room was great--2 sinks. Nice touches such as cookies at night. Wonderful pool. The women at the desk can't even be bothered to answer the phones. Internet is from the 1990's. Breakfast clean and the same every day. Not a lot of healthy options. When we went to the bathroom at night, the overhead light came in and woke us up. When we asked if it could be fixed, we heard, "Well that's the way it is." This could have been a great hotel--too bad they don't know what their staff is doing.

    4
« Great hotel but A/C needs to be fixed »

We really enjoyed this hotel. It's in a great location right downtown but still quiet. The breakfast buffet was standard but the outside seating area is fantastic! The pool is great and the hot tubs are big enough for lots of people. The rooms are big with an additional sitting area with a pull out bed. We did, though, have a bad experience with the air conditioner..... It's really, really, really loud!! We had to choose to have it on and be woken up by it or turn it off and not sleep because it was too hot in the room.

    « Great beds »

We went to the Best Western Canyonlands Inn in Moab. It was so good. The breakfast on the roof was great with a good view. The rooms were good and the beds were soft. In the front there was lemon water which tasted good and they had good recommendations for the restaurants.

    « A wonderful place to stay »

Summary: We are very glad we stayed here. Room: We were very pleased. The room was clean and seemed to be recently updated. Staff: Great. Overall value: Very good. They charged the market rate, and I felt like I was getting my money's worth. Location: Convenient location to Arches / Canyonlands and the center of Moab. Would I stay here again: Yes. No question.

There were six adults (mom, dad, 3 teenagers and Gma) who stayed in the family suite located above the Peach Tree restaurant. The room was spacious, very clean and included a well-appointed kitchenette. There was nothing lacking for breakfast choices and the hot items were always fresh and hot. The bonus was enjoying breakfast outside on the pergola covered porch. We were happy to enjoy the pool and it was always sparkling clean. We found the desk staff to be friendly and very helpful. If the chance, we'd return.

« Amazing staff and beautiful rooms »

Even though this is a chain hotel, the staff in Moab truly step up the establishment for a lovely experience. Staff are caring and attentive and really go the extra mile to make your stay great. I have been here twice within the past 6 years and never once has the service wavered. The rooms are clean and functional with enough room for everyone to stay comfortably.

« Great hotel in heart of downtown »

Met by friendly front desk help. We stayed in one of the family suites and it was spectacularly appointed. Perfect for our traveling party of six. Much nicer than I anticipated. Breakfast had your typical hot offerings but they were all fresh. Pool area is very nice and kept neat.

« Great base for Arches »

Our family of four used this hotel as a base for Arches. It is in great location in Moab, close to shops and restaurants. Request a top floor room to minimize noise. We found all the employees to be pleasant and helpful. The cucumber water, apples and nightly cookies were a very nice touch. Our kids loved the beautiful pool and hot tub area which was so welcome after the heat at Arches. Our room was huge and I love the layout which included two sinks, with one located outside the toilet area. The colors and decor are slightly dated but not a big deal. Complimentary breakfast each day offered extensive choices, was well staffed and tasty. All in all, a good stay.

    5
« Nice, clean, well appointed hotel »

This hotel was easy to find, right off of the Main Street in the middle of town. We weren't bothered by any noise. We parked our car in the free car park outside without a problem. We were quickly checked in after our long drive down from SLC. I noticed they had some cold water, coffee & fruit for you to help yourself to in reception. The pool looked inviting, but we never got there. The room was large with everything we needed, including 2 sinks. There was a refrigerator with a small freezer compartment, coffee making facilities, free wifi which I managed to use to FaceTime family both in the morning, and the evening. The beds were comfortable & the air conditioning wasn't overly noisey. We had the complimentary breakfast on the 2nd floor, which ran 6-10. There was a choice of 4 hot options, ham, scrambled eggs, bacon & potatoes, as well as make your own small waffles. Coffee, hot chocolate, a range of 4 juices, cereal, some fruit, bread items & pastries, & yoghurt were also available. We used the safety deposit boxes at the front desk, as there were no in room safes. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you are in the area.

    « Nice place »

Don't let the Best Western logo fool you. This hotel is lovely. Western decor from horses to saddles, it is conveniently located in the center of downtown Moab, walking distance to restaurants and shops. The room was clean and very spacious with the obligatory flat screen TV and a big overstuffed easy chair with Ottoman. For Moab, it is pricey but Colorado and now Utah is jam packed with tourists and rooms are hard to come by. The staff seems very nice .

« Very nice touches for the guests »

In downtown Moab, this motel is close to a lot of restaurants and Wells Fargo Bank is kitty corner to the Inn. It was a very busy place when we were there, with a lot of guests using the pool in 107 degrees Fahrenheit heat. We liked the arrangement of our room. It has 2 sinks, 1 in the bathroom and another outside of the bathroom so if there are 2 or more guests they have 2 places to get ready. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of items, and the staff checked often to make sure items were refilled and the counters clean. They use paper plates and plastic utensils. We liked having the full sized containers of Greek yogurt and the fresh fruit. The buffet is upstairs on the second floor where guests can enjoy the morning sunlight shining on the red cliffs. Planters of blooming plants help to make it very pleasant. Another nice touch are complementary fresh baked cookies, still warm, as an after dinner treat, and when we visited there was a bowl of apples and icy lemon water in a dispenser in the lobby. Coffee and tea are also available. There is bike storage and bike repair areas in the basement as well as a place to fill water containers. All in all we had a very nice stay while we visited The Arches and Canyonlands National Parks.

    « Nice Hotel »

Typical Best Western. Room was nice and well equipped with comfortable beds Good location in inner city. A vast number of restaurants nearby Complementary breakfast was fine (much better than some breakfasts you have to pay for) Only parking might be improved. You have a large number of slots dedicated to Tesla which is fine but you should not arrive late or you may have difficulties to get an available slots Otherwise highly recommended for families Will come back again

Well located and comfortable in the middle of town. Nicely decorated rooms with split bathrooms and very comfortable beds. Breakfast is included and is typical. Nice pool area. Close to all restaurants and activities. Good choice!

« Pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel! »

I have been pleasantly surprised by this hotel from the moment I walked in the door. Lemon water and apples in the lobby, everything has been clean and in excellent order. The rooms are nice, with some lovely artwork throughout the hotel. The pool is inviting and the hot tub is a double-decker with a waterfall in it! The complimentary buffet breakfast is very good, with a nice variety and really beautiful outdoor seating. The staff is friendly and courteous and it is right in the exact center of town with a whole bunch of restaurants and shops just outside, plus the Moab Information Center right across the street. I don't know what I was expecting, but whatever it was, they have exceeded it!

    « Organic APPLES! »

they had organic apples in the lobby and good quality tea, eco friendly soaps, and breakfast that had almond milk option. I like the consideration of people who try to eat and have non toxic items. the location is right in the middle of town, and the decor was very cool.

This place is totally modern, clean and upscale. It has everything! It is in a perfect location in Moab. The pool and the free breakfast were terrific. The staff was helpful and professional. I would recommend this hotel without reservation!

    « Lovely 2 night stay »

We stayed at the Canyonlands Inn as part of an escorted coach tour. There were some lovely touches here. Cool lemon water you could help yourself to in reception, cookies likewise. The room was spacious with two large beds. Immaculately clean. There were coin operated washer and dryers in the basement for a very low cost. Our room was quietly located and we slept well. Very central to shops and restaurants. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that we were surprised at the use of plastic cutlery and paper type plates at breakfast.

« Excellent service and clean Hotel »

it was wonderful experience during two weeks travel around 5 national park in western USA. I was surprised by nice and clean atmosphere and staff's kindness. Also it was quite new and better quality of modernized hotel like four star hotel. Food was excellent and variety of free breakfast I ever had. I like this hotel and I would definitely recommend this hotel to tired travellers who are looking for good hotel.

« one of the BEST best westerns »

Thanks Wendy, for your help, kindness ---and upgrade! :) Appreciated it all. This is an exceptional Best Western & the best place to stay in Moab. The attention to detail in every area makes it an excellent place to stay & enjoy. Centrally located to all restaurants and shoppes, it also has a nice pool & spa and the pool towels were always refreshed. Breakfast was a cut above most BWs also, and we loved sitting on the roof top lounge to enjoy it. I have to stay in Marriott's for work & this BW reminded me of some of them. While the rate is higher, the quality reflects it. We love Moab & stop here on most summer out west road trips. So we've stayed in other places in Moab when this one was sold out, and there's no comparison. For next year's road trip, I will definitely make this reservation first to assure we're able to stay here again. Bravo, BW Canyonlands!!

« Good choice for Moab townsite »

We stayed at this hotel as a family and used it as a base for our exploration of Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. It has a great location, with many restaurants and shops around and the amenities (free breakfast, wireless access, and laundry facilities) were good to have after being in more remote areas prior to this part of our trip.

« so nice and restful »

This place was fantastic. desk was courteous and helpful. cookies were in the lobby. Full breakfast buffet was awesome. rooms were so clean, cool, and the beds were great. after canceling two motels we stayed at on our way to Albuquerque it was nice to finally get a good motel and a good nights rest. So glad we found this one

« Great place and great location »

This is one of my two favorite hotels in the Colorado Plateau area. The hotel is extremely well maintained, the rooms are large and the breakfast buffet is excellent. Cold water, apples and cookies in the lobby...the staff are wonderfully accommodating. This hotel is ideally situated for shopping and restaurants in downtown Moab.

    4
    « Very nice location »

The hotel is fine and is the perfect location for exploring Moab. We had booked mountain biking tours, National Park tours and rafting. This location was close to everything and many restaurant and shops were close by.

« Wish all hotels had the same room set-up »

I really liked this place (the only complaint was I wish the refrigerator was colder). The layout was great and very functional. There was a couch, a chair and ottoman, two sinks/vanities, a desk, and a bench with shelfing below. I was very happy with our choice. It's centrally located, the breakfast was fine (only wished they had some bagels) and parking was easy also. The only thing that didn't make sense to me in such a well laid out hotel was the four steps in the middle of the 2nd floor which made using a luggage cart impractical. However, this was not a big deal, but if it is to you a 1st floor request may be best. This hotel along with another choice we made in Springdale were my favorites during our 4 hotel stays during our vacation.

« Will Return on all Future Visits »

We loved this hotel! We had one of the three Family Suites (aka Apartments) and it truly was the icing on the cake to an amazing visit to Moab. The facility is spotless, the location is perfectly central to everything, the breakfast is hearty and has plenty of options, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the parking was always available. I cannot imagine a visit to Moab without staying here in the future!

« Very good hotel except for the breakfast »

Right in the centre of Moab with good restaurants right outside, this is a generally excellent hotel. We booked the presidential suite (and had forgotten we had, so it was a nice surprise when we arrived!) and it was fantastic: huge living area, proper kitchen area, vast bed with a stand-alone tub and a separate shower/toilet, with excellent air con. Public areas were good, the pool area was nice, and the breakfast area, including an upstairs deck, was large and very pleasant - the deck was nice for the evening in particular. The downside was the awful breakfast arrangement. Plastic cutlery and paper plates are a massive misjudgement in a hotel charging over $200 a night. It smacks of working down to a cost rather than meeting the standards of the rest of the hotel. It didn't help that they were flimsy either, with a knives barely capable of cutting a rock hard muffin. Unfortunately, whilst the food choice was wide, the quality of some it dived to the level of the cutlery; the bread product - never a strength of US hotels in fairness, unless you can get a decent bagel - was dire, They really need to do better - it nearly made this a three star review. Other than that, great in every respect. Moab is a nice little town, full of decent eateries: Spoke and The Peace Tree Café stood out for us. Pasta Jays was good by the standards of American Italian restaurants (they are not the same as Italian eateries in Italy - overdone portions, less subtle flavours etc), and we had great coffee from Moab Coffee Roasters. The town is as hot as hell in June - 106 when we arrived - but is a perfect base for all kinds of exploring.

« Excellent location, big rooms »

My family stayed here for 2 nights in June 2016 while visiting Canyonlands, Dead Horse SP and Arches. We were pleased with the hotel as it is right on the main street in Moab so can walk to many restaurants and stores. Parking was ample as well. The hotel seems to be quite new and everything was clean. Rooms were large and having 2 adults and 2 children in the room wasn't nearly as tight as some other hotels. We did laundry there and had no issues at all with the washers and dryers. We used the pool/hot tub areas both evenings. Although quite nice, they aren't quite what you'd expect based on the pics on the website. The pool is very small but that's due to the limited space they have to work with in town (no complaints there). My only complaint is that we were at the very end of the hall on the first floor and there is a bar/club just across from the parking lot with live music. On Saturday night it was quite loud when we were trying to get sleep before an early day the next day. I had to turn the A/C down low so it would stay on to drown out the noise. Lucky for us they didn't seem to have any live music on Sunday night so it wasn't an issue. Complaining would have done no good as we certainly weren't going to move rooms at 11pm. It would have been nice to know that in advance so I could have asked for a room on the opposite side of the building or closer to the front. Anyway, great hotel and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again! I LOVE Moab!

    « very nice stay »

what a wonderful hotel right in the middle of Moab. The decor was very pleasing and the bed very comfortable. i like that many of the attractions in Moab were within walking distance. I would recommend staying here while visiting the area.

« Excellent Choice When Visiting Moab »

We stayed in a 2 Queen room which had a mini-refrigerator and couch for 6 nights during early May 2016. We found the location of the property very convenient - Easy walk to many restaurants in Moab. The room was comfortable, and cleaned every day. The free breakfast was convenient because many of the activities we scheduled started between 6:30 and 7 AM. The room was quiet at night, and we went to sleep early and exhausted from all of the hiking, biking and other activities we did. Our favorite part of the hotel was the roof top from which you can see mountains on all sides. It was a lovely place to relax at the end of the day with an iced coffee (Moab Coffee Roasters) and quesadilla (Quesadilla Mobilla). The rooms have free wifi, and the wifi also reaches most of the sections of the roof top. The front desk staff, the housekeeping staff and the breakfast staff are all very friendly. There is a self pay laundry in the basement and it was clean. If we return to Moab in the future, and I hope we do, we will definitely stay here again.

« Great Place to Stay in Moab, Utah »

Visiting the National Parks near Moab--Canyonlands, Arches--can be a very hot business, but the Best Western Plus Canyonlands takes the heat away not only with the air-conditioning, but also the 24/7 water in the lobby, fresh-baked cookies in the afternoon, and even 24/7 coffee in the lobby. The location is great since it is on the main street of Moab and has a wonderful restaurant--Pasta Jay's--right in front of the hotel. The information center for the National Parks is across the street from the hotel. This was our second visit to Moab and we never considered any other hotel but this one. I have to add that the breakfast included in the stay is the most generous we have seen--hot and cold cereals, eggs, waffles, breakfast meats, potatoes, all kinds of juices, hot chocolate, coffee, yogurt. All included.

« Decent place right in the heart of Moab »

Stayed here for three nights in a 2 Queen suite on recent trip around several National Parks. Hotel is right in the centre of Moab with plenty of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Arches is a 10 minute drive away, Canyonlands Islands in the Sky starts about 30 mins away. Room was fine and pool/hot tub were good. It's not exactly a place full of character but I'd rather have a decent room and good facilities anyday. Nice that reception had free coffee available all the time with fruit/cookies during the day/evening. The included breakfast was OK - avoid the coach trips - but the plastic plates and cutlery were a bit naff for what is otherwise a really rather good hotel. We'd stay here again.

    5
« Great Stay at Best Western Plus Canyonlands »

We really enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Plus Canyonlands. The hotel location is within walking distance of several restaurants, shopping, etc. Continental breakfast was good, too. We would definitely stay at this hotel in the future.

    5
« Wonderful place to stay in Moab »

Picking a hotel in Moab is hard - there are like 9 Best Westerns or something like that plus a bunch of locally owned hotels, plus a new Fairfield Inn by Arches, plus a new Hilton going in right in town. Well, with all that - I think the B/W Canyonlands is your best bet - this hotel is clean, modern, friendly, and overall just great. The rooms are modern, the pool area is great, and the included breakfast was very, very nice. I'd compare this hotel favorably to most others in Moab and think it's a great option for travelers. Bonus is that Pasta Jay's is right in the parking lot! Go there if you want a good meal.

    5
    « Lovely Lodging »

My husband and I loved this hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The outdoor pool and hot tub are situated just off the lobby; was a beautiful spot to relax in the sun. The proximity to Peach Tree Cafe makes this hotel even more inviting!

    4
« Great location, Great staff, Bad Breakfast »

This hotel has the best location a hotel could have in Moab. Totally centrally located with all the shops, restaurants and galleries around it. In general Moab is a beautiful small town and the Best Western Plus is a small jewel in this small town. The staff at the reception are all very effective and friendly and the make everything possible to make your stay nicer and with less troubles. The rooms are spacious but nothing really too extravacant. The room 111 faces just the back parking lot which is not good to awful. The worst experience with this hotel was the breakfast. Guys whould you please get some more quality stuff for your breakfast buffee???

« Not Your Typical Best Western »

This hotel is very pretty, located in the heart of town and you can walk to everything. The staff and everyone we encountered in Moab were so pleasant to talk to. Only downside is it is a pricey place (this may discourage some travellers), we would stay again next time we visit.

« Pricey, but worth it! »

We decided to stay here to visit Arches National Park. The location is in a prime spot with free parking. Numerous shops, restaurants and bars are within a walk out of the front door. The pool and hot tubs are extremely nice. Staff was extremely friendly. The laundry room even had a couch for you to sit on!!!

    5
« great place to stay »

In the middle of downtown Moab located near all the shops and restaurants and a short drive to Arches National Park. One of the nicest laundry facilities we have come across almost halfway into out trip.

    4
« Very Nice Hotel but On the Expensive Side »

This is a very nice hotel located centrally in the city. Easy walking to shops and restaurants and the visitors center. Property is clean, rooms clean and comfortable. Beds are also comfortable. The cost of the room was pretty pricey but probably paying for the location.

« Superb Service, Pool, Breakfast »

I was very impressed with the staff at this hotel. They let us all (a group of 19) store our luggage there for five days while we were on a river trip and were very gracious in accomodating us when we had to store it early in the morning, and all pick it up at once. I enjoyed the pool. The breakfast was very good, with eggs, breads, breakfast meats, etc. The view is great from the breakfast patio. I don't think any of the rooms have a view, and we stayed on the first floor for the first part of our trip and on the second later, and both seemed comparable. I was particularly impressed with the front desk, which was very solicitous. For example, there was an elderly man who was organizing his travel due to a medical emergency, and the woman at the front desk offered to drive him to the airiport herself. I found that quite incredible.

    4
« Quite Good and a bit overpriced. »

Nothing really wrong and much right here. Breakfast was quite good, the bed and room excellent. The staff was pleasant and effective, though not overly friendly. Overall,it just felt about $20 per night overpriced.

« A great value in the heart of beauty!! »

Prices in Moab are noticeably high all year round and this best Western location is a great value. The rooms are spacious with free Wi-Fi, fitness center and a beautiful pool. It's only a 15 minute drive from Arches national Park which is probably one of the most beautiful places on earth. If you're using best Western rewards make sure that you use the free tablets that they have on the side of the checking counter to make sure that you get your $50 off coupon.

    5
    « Very nice hotel »

Located right downtown, check in was fast and clerks very friendly. Our room was on the first floor looking over the pool. the room was above average for Best Western. The bed was comfortable and the bath clean and well stocked. Breakfast was very good and you could sit inside or on the porch looking at the view which was great.

    4
    « Quality Hotel »

Quality Hotel, comfortable and quiet. Excellent location, in the heart of the town. Spoke on Central, Pasta Jays and Peacetree restaurants, all within a minutes walk and all excellent food. Moab is a lovely town well worth a visit on any Canyon tour. Brilliant for Arches National Park

« Great room, nice pool area, good hotel »

It's a little pricey, but it's a good hotel in this area and a great base for exploring the recreational areas and the National Parks. The room was enormous, well appointed, and had excellent lighting. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. We had some noise during the night, and in the hallways, you could hear what everyone had on their televisions. But within the rooms, things were fairly quiet. The laundry area is down stairs and tucked away, which felt a little odd, but it's a bright space with lots of large machines. We used it and found it to be a great amenity. The pool area is very nice with a large hot tub area and a very refreshing pool. Towel service is right near by and it was a nice feature. The front desk staff at check in, during the stay, and at check out was great. They called us after we left to report we'd left something in the room. They were all delightful folks. Very helpful with restaurant selection and local attractions. The breakfast was nice but crowded. The space seemed too small. They have wonderful outdoor seating and we thought the balcony areas were lovely. It's a nice place to stay in this area. We found the hotel to be a bit on the high side, price wise, so the value isn't great, but we enjoyed our stay.

« Stay at this hotel!! »

This hotel is awesome! Matt, the front desk agent, arranged an early check-in for us. He was very friendly and had fantastic customer service skills! The breakfast was tasty! There was a nice variety of foods. The 2 gentlemen in the breakfast area went out of their way to keep the food fully stocked and tables cleaned. They were very nice, too! The breakfast space is large and has plenty of seating to accommodate everyone. There was seating available outside as well. The sleeping room was very clean and spacious. I highly recommend this hotel!

« Moab in the Fall »

Been to Moab twice & stayed here both times, once in early November & once at Thanksgiving. Convenient & clean, great breakfast spread, helpful staff. Good outdoor area up top to enjoy an after dinner beverage. Can't comment on noise described by other reviewers, as the hotel was not quite full. Downtown location is a plus, as most everything seemed to be within easy walking distance. We would definitely go back.

    « Perfect »

We stayed here for one night as we were visiting Arches National Park and we loved this hotel, it was clean, spacious and friendly, just what we need at the end of a long drive from Bryce Canyon. There were cookies and coffee in the lobby, a nice pool area and a basic buffet breakfast. It is right on the main street of Moab near restaurants, shops etc. I would definitely recommend this hotel

« More like Best Western Minus »

Over priced, noisy hotel with thin walls & the noisiest A/C we have ever heard, cycling on & off all night long. Thin walls & the worst eggs EVER at breakfast just added to the experience. Staff marginally friendly. Do yourself a favor & choose another place.

Arrived at hotel a bit early but the room was ready.Excellant staff and the room was beautifully furnished.Moab was a great town to stroll through with lots of interesting shops.Very handily placed for Arches National park.Only problem was we are tea drinkers and there were no tea bags in the room refreshmants.

    « Look no further! »

We booked 3 nights during our stay in Moab. The hotel is fantastic both inside and out. It's located about 12min from Arches NP and is in the heart of Moab restaurants and shops. There are many other hotels closer to Arches, but this one is worth a few extra minutes. The rooms are very well appointed with plenty of outlets, USB chargers, and even has individual reading lights over each bed. There is a nice size fridge in each room. Just off the lobby, you can find a microwave and utensils for late night snacks. We found the complimentary breakfast to be perfect: eggs, bacon, potatoes, breads, cereals, fresh fruit, etc. There is a wrap around deck and balcony which has ample seating (some with outlets) for eating breakfast, or just enjoying a nice evening around the fire pit. You have a view of the red rocks and nearby mountain peaks from all angles. The pool area is really lovely with a nice pool, dual hot tubs, and plenty of shaded seating. The hotel has a few split levels, so you have to walk up/down 3-4 stairs in the middle of the hallway on each level. If you have a problem with stairs or don't want to drag your luggage up/down, then you should ask for a room that is located on the same level as the main elevator.

« Nice hotel for downtown Moab »

This hotel is a bit picey but our rooom was large and roomy. As mentioned before in other reviews, I would not recommendation a room over looking the pool! Breakfast pretty standard. Close to many restaurants and gift shops.

    « Beyond expectations »

We stayed here for 2 nights and could have stayed longer. The hotel and pool were lovely. Room was comfortable and clean. Great location, within walking distance of a choice of restaurants and cafes. We rented some bikes and did the slick rock mountain bike trail from here and also visited Arches National park. Would return here for sure as there was plenty to see and do in Moab

« Great value, EXCELLENT room, FANTASTIC STAFF! »

The best hotel to stay at in Moab, hands-down. If you are a mountain biker, this is the place for you. Most secure storage facility for your bike and a repair room with stand to boot. Central location is great for visiting your favorite bike shop or brewery.

« Nice Town, Great Hotel »

My husband and I planned a trip to Moab to hike and mountain bike. We stayed three nights at this hotel. It is the perfect location for visiting Arches, Canyonlands and Dead Horse State Park. It's at the beginning of town and just off Main Street. It is within easy walking distance of many little shops and restaurants. Our room was very nice with plenty of space and a good size in-room refrigerator....good for keeping cold beverages and snacks. We used the pool area our first day....not too many lounge chairs, but it is a well taken care of area. The free breakfast provided every morning was very good......they had many choices. I would recommend staying here.

I stayed in a suite with my family for a week. Great hotel, great location and fantastic staff. This is THE hotel is your going to Moab. The Peace Tree and Pasta Jay's are very good places to eat. We rented RZR's for the week and used them as our transportation and hit every off road trail.

« Good Stay Nice Hotel »

Spent a night in Moab, and this hotel is in a perfect spot. Very nice facility, no complaints. Little pricey, but I expected that. Did not get the chance to use the pool, but looked well maintained. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the area. Walking distance to just about everything.

    « Nice hotel »

We stayed just one night here, passing through on our journey between Phoenix and Vegas. Our rooms were clean spacious and very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The only thing I would say is that breakfast was a bit chaotic! It was raining and cold so eating outside wasn't an option but there was not enough room in the dining room for all the guests so our party of 4 had to be split and grab a seat when we could. That said there was a good selection to choose from and the hot choclate was very good!

    4
    « Pricey »

The staff was welcoming and attentive to our needs. The room was very clean, and smelled fresh. The bed was comfy and we had plenty of nice pillows. Breakfast was hot and fresh, and quite tasty. We actually ate on the upstairs balcony. It was a lovely experience overall, however it was a bit pricey. Perhaps given the touristiness of the area, it wasn't out of line with the rest, but more than I expected just to sleep. Overall, a good experience and I would definitely stay again.

« hotel okay, booking.com/hotel relationship not okay »

Review is about booking.com more than BW. The picture looks pretty good but it's still a Best Western. We had a last minute change in plans to move our one night stay one date forward. Called the hotel, they said there were full. Found only a $450/night multi room suite available for this place on booking.com and desperately took it. When got to the hotel, they showed vacancy. Asked for a normal room and refund but told since booked thru booking.com they could not adjust our room or rate. So, don't possibly think I will used booking.com again.

This was a great hotel! Their breakfast bar was great, and they have an awesome outdoor patio with tables and lounge chairs under the shade. The indoor area was cute too, and clean. The lobby area was cute and the staff was friendly and helpful. They offer coffee, fruit, and lemon water for their guests. You could not find a better location! You can walk to everything in Moab. All the parks are less than 20 minutes away. This place is perfect for a family.

« Nice, but don't get a room anywhere near the pool »

Very good breakfast and dining area. Staff was pleasant, especially the ones working in the breakfast area. Room large and clean. Great location. Would stay again, BUT never in a room by the pool. The noise was absolutely ridiculous! We were on the second floor and it seemed like there was nothing between us and the screaming kids. I've never experienced anything like this noise in all our travels. Thank goodness the staff was very prompt at closing it down right at 10:00. To be honest, we did not take the time and effort to ask for another room, since we had already unpacked, but we know better for our next trip.

    « Excellent Experience »

We arrived tired, a bit cold & wet. All that evaporated as the desk person was warm, welcoming & enthusiastic. As on our 1 previous visit, check in was quick & easy. Our room was larger than what we find at other hotels. We had a desk & chair, a soft chair with foot rest & a 2 person sofa in addition to the 2 queen beds. The room was made up perfectly, and made up perfectly again each day of our 4 day stay. Clean, quiet & comfortable. Really Nice thick, soft, fluffy towels. Mini fridge has a freezer section which was important for us. Breakfast was also very good. Attendants kept the serving area well stocked. Seating area is large enough that we did not feel crowed. Nice views from the second floor location. Tables were wiped quickly after each guest left. Attendants greeted us & made us feel welcome. The weather monitor in the lobby gave daily forecasts, which were valuable for planning activities is this area. Lobby computer terminals were also handy & valuable for weather & news. Our 4 day visit qualified as perfect, nothing we could have wanted to change.

« Best western a great Moab secret »

All though this hotel is a bit on the pricey side the amenities far outweigh the cost. With a wonderful pool and hot tub area full hot breakfast bar your family we will be well taken care of. The rooms are spacious and clean and the staff is very friendly. I would direct you to stay away from the other best Western in town due to a single front desk staff member, I won't give his name, but the first time you talk to him you will realize why I would never stay at that best Western. The canyonlands in my opinion is one of the best hotels in the town. It is right downtown where all the action is, including bars and the best restaurants are.

« Great location in the heart of Moab, nice terrace for a glass of wine (bring your own), rooms standard. »

Moab is crazy right now! Crowded, expensive but amazing mountain biking! I stayed at the Fairfield Inn a couple of weekends ago right outside of Moab. The rooms at the Fairfield are nicer but you can't beat the location of the Best Western in the heart of Moab. You can walk everywhere for food, shopping, restaurants and bike stores. The rooms kind of have that stinky, cheap hotel smell but the staff is very nice. I asked for a quiet room but Moab is not quiet. The road through the town is filled with trucks, RV's and tons of cars all day long. Moab is crazy right now! Crowded, expensive but amazing mountain biking! The terrace where breakfast is served is quite nice after a long mountain bike ride. Bring your own drinks and relax in the shade overlooking Moab. You are looking out at the busy road, but it is still nice. The breakfast is not my style of overly yellow, slimy scrambled eggs and bacon but I am a picky, healthy eater. I recommend this hotel if you want a place to stay in Moab with an excellent location.

« Clean, good location, noisy »

It was nice to be able to walk to whatever you wanted to do here in Moab, and we got a decent price, which is important in really expensive Moab, but it was noisy, mostly due to annoying, drunk folks next door. At 1:30am my husband got up and asked them to quiet down, which thankfully they did. Not really the hotels fault, just ironic as we had asked for a quiet room. So if you want one, ask for one away from main street and not by the ice machines, as you can easily here through the walls and doors. Hot tub was wonderful after a day of hiking. Breakfast what you expect. Clean.

    « Nice Hotel »

Great location, nice and quiet. Great size room. Nice grounds. Great for a mid-range $150-$200 motel. Moab is a no sale liquor state, so its nice to have the mini frig. Breakfast is typical. Nice pool area. Internet and TV is ok.

    « Nice Hotel »

I stayed at this hotel while I toured Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. The hotel is centrally located in downtown Moab with a short drive to the parks. It is within walking distance of several restaurants. Other restaurants are a short drive away. I had a good night's sleep every night I was there. The free breakfast every morning was excellent. Also, the hotel serves fresh baked cookies every night.

« Lovely Hotel, Great Location »

We really liked this hotel. The rooms are large and well equipped, there is ample parking and a lovely pool. Some nice touches took like the cookies, water and coffee in the reception area. Its in a fabulous location too, right in the middle of town so you can walk around really easily. I would highly recommend it. Breakfast was ample and of good quality but very crowded. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is that one day our room wasn't cleaned and when I asked receptionist why, she was very unhelpful, gave no explanation and said there was nothing she could do about it. Made me feel in the wrong for even asking!

« Good hotel, large rooms »

Picked this hotel for its location in the heart of town and also for the pool but we didn't have the time to use it in the end as we were only in Moab for 1 night and spent all our free time at Arches National Park. The room was very spacious and the hotel is indeed in a great location. The sheets felt very much like plastic. Breakfast however was chaos and of poor quality. As in most other similar chain hotels, breakfast offerings are super unhealthy. Juices, cooked breakfast, porridge, waffles...everything has added sugar and more! The hotel has recycling bins downstairs yet NO recycling is done in the breakfast area.

    « Good Hotel »

Stayed in Moab for 4 nights and were more than happy with our choice of hotel. The room was immaculate and very spacious for a family. Great outdoor pool and hot tub with ample seating. We loved the balcony and fire pit in the evening. Good breakfast with lots of choices. The kids loved the lemon water and chocolate chip cookies in the evening. The hotel is right in the heart of downtown so you could easily walk everywhere.

« Solid Best Western experience »

We visited Moab for 2 nights and were very happy with our stay at the Best Western Canyonlands. We felt that it was exactly as advertised - a clean, comfortable, centrally located, affordable hotel with welcoming staff. It's a Best Western so obviously not overly luxurious or unique, but that's not what we were expecting or paying for. No complaints whatsoever and would recommend it to anyone visiting Moab.

    « Fine for a short stay »

The hotel was fine and clean but staff were not friendly and the breakfast experience was a real nightmare - too many people not enough place to sit - people were fighting over food and space not at all relaxing.

« Great location, clean, comfrtable »

Had a great experience. Stayed 4 nights total and enjoyed it. The location is excellent- within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. The pool and hot tub were very welcome after long days of hiking each day, for us and our kids. Breakfast was great - many kudos to the guys working the breakfast area each morning. They kept up with the busy guests (and lots of kids) every morning and were very pleasant.

« Your Search is over for a top knotch hotel stay »

I typically do not go out of my way to comment or rate my experiences on the many platforms out there, but I will tell you, this Best Western went above and beyond with every level of service. Great location, great pool area, great lounge area, quality breakfast (something for everyone!), clean, well equipped rooms... we stay at so many hotels throughout the year for our kids traveling sports teams but this hotel was a nice change! So, here is my review! Support their effort of great service, they deserve it!

    « 50th Aniversary Easter Jeep Safari »

I don't usually stay in hotels as we are RV'ers, but our RV is out of commission so I chose this hotel. It was very expensive but overall it was one of the best stays in a hotel I've ever had. The mattress was so comfortable & since I don't sleep well in hotels usually, I slept very well in this one. The soundproofing in the walls was very good & couldn't hear any noise from adjoining rooms except if someone let their door slam. People are just rude as it was very easy to just close the door normally instead of letting it slam. Internet was worst of any hotel I have stayed in but I lived with it. Because of the event I thought it would be much busier & louder, but it was very nice & quiet!

« One of the best hotel experiences we have had »

The Best Western PLUS Canyonlands Inn in Moab far exceeded our expectations, although we love Best Western in general. The staff, from front desk to housekeepers, maintenance personnel, and breakfast staff, were unfailingly professional, friendly, and helpful. Our room was more spacious than most hotel rooms, and the bed was very comfortable. The Internet was fast. We were a bit concerned at first about leaving our bicycles in their bike storage area, but the security was excellent with a desk staff member with us whenever we checked our bikes in or out of the area. They also have a great bike repair room. We loved the outdoor upstairs deck with fireplace. Nice touches like cookies in the lobby after dinner, which seems like a small thing but makes a guest feel like the hotel enjoys having us there. The Inn is ideally situated in town close to a wide range of restaurants and the trail Hub. We look forward to returning to the Best Western PLUS Canyonlands Inn in Moab.

    « Spring break »

Very nice, helpful staff. My three kids enjoyed the breakfast everyday. Staff went out of their way to be accommodating and kind. Would stay here again. Well run hotel and nice sized rooms for a family of 5. We were pleasantly surprised. Great location in town.

« Excellent hotel and facilities »

We had a suite, totally recommend it as so spacious. Reception provides free tea and coffe, water and cookies each day, which was lovely. Right in the middle of town so great for shopping and eating out. Breakfast room was quite small for size of hotel so sometimes struggled to get a seat, but wide selection of hot and cold foods and very helpful staff on hand. We did our laundry and whilst here, they have a lovely laundry room and only costs a couple of dollars to wash and dry a huge load. Lots of parking and cannot fault this hotel, we all loved it and we're sad to leave

« Good location and good hotel for families worh kids »

Better than most Best Western hotels. They have a hot breakfast, more than adequate before a day of hiking or visiting the park. This hotel is good for families, potentially may not be when traveling alone or as a couple. Pool can get noisy, at least there is a time limit. We stayed in a ground floor room and we could hear kids running in the room above us and the pool activities outside. Location is central in downtown Moab, walking distance to restaurants and shops. Overall was a good stay.

« Beautiful March Trip in Utah Parks »

Our hiking club selected this hotel for a three night stay in early March. The people at the hotel were great, rooms were spacious and clean and the rates were very reasonable. The beds were very comfortable, which is important after 10 mile hikes. Centrally located, we could easily walk to several good restaurants. We'll be back.

    « Canyonlands »

heated year round pool, comfortable beds, they could switch up the breakfast it was the same thing every morning. good location, close to restaurants and retail stores. Not far from the canyonlands, dead horse point and delicate arches. overall a good hotel to stay at

« A really good well located hotel with nice touches »

We were here at the week they were holding in the town the 50th anniversary of the jeep week. which was also the 75th anniversary of the manufacture of the jeep. the town was alive with 1000's of jeeps. the hotel was great nice rooms quite despite the celebrations going on in the town. the hotel was full as I would think were most of the others. the service from the front desk was helpful and efficient. There were some really nice touches like cookies and coffee plus chilled water. The breakfast was good plenty to eat and a good amount of room, breakfast staff were efficient at keeping the tables clean and the food well stocked. I would recommend this hotel anytime. its well located in the town with plenty of eating places to choose from.

« Best Western Canyonlands Inn, Moab »

Facility was attractive, clean, and comfortable. Staff were pleasant, efficient, and knowledgeable. Bed was comfortable. Great central location in downtown area. Room was a bit pricey, but it was peak season; however, I would stay there again as my first choice in Moab.

    3
« Went during Jeep week »

Overall, not a bad hotel. Friendly staff at front desk. Staff during breakfast were pleasant but overbearing, watching over your shoulder and trolling to finish service. Beds were uncomfortable and had hair and dirt on covers. Pool was nice. I guess about as good as can be expected in Utah based on our month of travel around the areas.

    3
    « Good central place! »

It was a comfortable room, with free breakfast included and a decent pool - but... Moab has a lot of "Box elder bugs", harmless really and this place was no exception. It seemed these bugs were attracted to the heat coming off the a/c on the balcony and would crawl in the room. Once we informed the front desk, they were more than helpful and gave us a discount for the inconvenience.

    5
    « Great stay »

The room was clean, spacious, like new, and I loved having the two sinks. Location is excellent, being right in the middle of town. The staff was friendly, bike lockup room was convenient, and the hot breakfast (eggs, ham, bacon, potatoes, waffles, plus the rest of the standard continental breakfast items were great. Can't wait to stay here again.

    « Friendly Stay »

My friend and I stayed here to run the Canyonlands Half marathon and the staff were very friendly and accommodating from the get go. They allowed us a late checkout without any additional charge so that we could shower after the race and were very professional. Express checkout was a piece of cake and we loved the free wifi and how central it was in town. We just walked everywhere to eat. Breakfast was yummy and the staff serving the food were helpful and kind. I would definitely go back again. It might not be the very cheapest place to stay in Moab, but honestly, I don't want to stay in the cheapest place. It was worth a few extra bucks to get a clean, nice room with breakfast and free wifi that was central to everything. I'll be coming back here with my family for sure and next time I'll stay more than one night!

    « Great location - comfortable room »

Very comfortable room. We especially loved the flexible reading lights that were over the beds and sofa. When you walk into the vanity area the lights automatically come on, same when you enter the separate lavatory. Great breakfast but was quite crowded in the breakfast room since no one could sit outside due to rain.

    « Relaxation in Moab »

From early checkin to the breakfasts in the morning, the huge jacuzzi in the afternoon, and chocolate chip cookies in the evening, everything was great! Rooms were clean, comfortable, beds were....well lets just say I slept great!

« Nice Abode in Center of Town »

Nice hotel with great Hot Tub and Upper Deck to enjoy the view in the morning at breakfast and for sunset in the evening. The room was comfy although the bathroom was a bit tight in space. Bed was super comfortable. $86.00 per night for a basic room was a bit overpriced for the time of year and the town being virtually empty.

« One of the most convinient locations in Moab! »

We have stayed in several hotels/motels in Moab (higher and lower costs) and this one is by far our favorite. Great location, very attractive and efficient staff and attractive facility. A full breakfast is offered which is served in their 2nd floor breakfast room and patio area. HD TV is provided with on screen TV guide. For summer fun they have an outdoor pool in an attractive enclosed patio area. The Moab Visitor center is located just across the street; it is worth a visited prior to starting your adventure in the area.

    « what a room »

Stayed in Moab overnight while traveling. While checking in my husband asked if they had a nicer room than the king bed I had booked and we were placed in the Presidential Suite. It was fantastic and the breakfast room was one of the cleanest and well managed BW we have ever been in.

    5
    « Huge rooms! »

When we entered our room I was amazed at how big the room was. Yes we had two queen beds but other hotels make it so you can hardly walk around. This was very comfortable. The hotel was very nice and located in the middle of downtown....easy walking distance to many shops and restaurants. They have an outside deck on the second floor with a gas fire pit that they will turn on for you (February is still a little cold to sit outside!). The breakfast room is also located on the second floor with amazing views of the red rocks all around. They have a video playing about all the places to visit while you're in the area....very interesting history also. The breakfast food was much better than most that serve a free breakfast. Hot oatmeal, eggs, real potatoes, bacon, and the usual breads and pastries. A juice machine with a selection of juices and their coffee was very good. Super friendly and helpful staff to top it all off!! I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Moab!

    5
« Conveniently located, clean and well maintained! »

I would stay here again! This hotel located on the Main Street near restaurants and shops, and the price was good. Rooms were clean and the hotel staff nice! With it being in Moab near Arches National Park it was only a short drive to the park in the morning!

« Best place to stay in Moab »

The rooms are comfortable, the hot tub is awesome! The breakfast is the best! The people working there are very friendly and willing to help any way they can. The only thing that would make this place better would be to have the pool heated and open all year.

    « Very Happy Surprise!! »

We went off season and were traveling with 4 adults that are all single. I took a chance and booked the two bedroom, two bathroom suite... it as pretty cheap for the amazing room we got. Everything was newly furnished. The living room area had a fireplace. A pretty good sized deck with patio furniture. An outdoor heater would have been the only thing that could have made it better. Nice modern kitchenette. The staff was amazing. I had lost my ID and it was supposed to have been shipped there, but it had not come in. On my way out I asked about it and the lady (Tess?) said "I think the maintenance man's sister works at the post office. She not only called, she went and picked it up, since we were leaving. Give this place your money.

    « Nice location »

They sure have a good cookies....I like their rooms they have double sinks. The only problem you can hear the noise next room. And the cleaning ladies are loud just outside our door. The compliment breakfast just typical choices. Twice in a row they only served bacon which I noticed hardly touch by guests. The breakfast server very strict watch out! But I guess, he make sure the room are in order and food not empty. Quincy, the nice lady I communicated during our two night stay. She recommended good place to eat. I would say this place should clear their icy parking.

    « Excellent hotel! »

We stayed overnight in Moab at the Best Western, and had a great experience. The room was large and very clean, the beds were comfortable, and we even had a good view. The staff people were helpful and knowledgeable -- kept my bag before we checked into the room and recommended good eateries, even giving out discount cards for some. The location is in the middle of town, within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, and galleries. All in all, it was a great experience.

« Typical Best Western, Best Location »

We visit Moab at least every other year, this was the first time staying at this property. Microtel (if still there) was HORRIBLE (loud, rude front desk, bad location), Gonzo Inn has always been fantastic but rarely available and not the best location to downtown. So tried this property this time. The accommodations were typical, nice, clean Best Western. An above average pool and breakfast areas (great view and outdoor seating for breakfast area). Can't beat the location for town activities ... It is RIGHT THERE in the middle of it all. Easy walking everywhere. The not so good were the front desk folks. Clearly not very motivated as we had some problems with the TV and they were less than helpful. Heard other customers complaining about them too, so seems to be a general problem. Weren't rude or anything, just not helpful or outwardly pleasant. Also, breakfast was just okay. Typical fare, but VERY slow. Granted it was quite busy when we were there, and it wasn't like the breakfast people weren't working hard, they were. But there was long waits for food that would constantly run out every morning we were there. Not sure we'd stay here again, maybe.

    5
    « Great stay! »

We had a great stay at this hotel! The room was bigger and nicer than I anticipated and the amenities were really great! We had a great time and loved the location and everything about his hotel, we will definitely stay here again!

« LOTS GOING FOR THIS HOTEL »

I think that this hotel in Moab has everything "clicking". First, the location is perfect...located in Moab's downtown area, it is walking distance for excellent dining. Next, the rooms are spacious. Added to that, the hotel amenities are really well suited to the busy active tourists that Moab attracts. They have a fantastic breakfast served in a very pleasant second story bright and airy room. They have a convenient hot tub (several actually). They offer a bicycle lock area as well as a large well organize laundry room. Last and certainly not least, chocolate chip cookies every evening! So, if you're travels take you to Moab, this is a very good hotel to select for your stay.

« New hotel in great central Moab location »

The hotel looks great from the outside, and is just as good inside. Well appointed, clean, functional. Great pool area and the best hot tub I have seen. Bike storage area, bike workshop room, water bottle filling area. Good breakfast, competent & friendly staff. And right in the center of Moab.

    5
    « A pleasant night stay »

The Inn is located conveniently off the main Hi-way in Moab. Many eating selections are within a mile or two of the Inn. A spacious King room with soft silky bedding provided a very enjoyable night. However, the only negative was the Inn's selection of bar soap (not very scent worthy but it did do the job). The continental breakfast was very good and typical for Best Western quality. The staff was very helpful in suggesting eating establishments. We very much enjoyed the selections of cookies and refreshments on a cold winter night in the lobby.

« Quiet, clean hotel, friendly staff »

We stayed in early February in the Main Street Suite which is located above the Peace Tree restaurant. This is a two bedroom, two bath suite with a living area and small kitchen space. There is a stairwell to the unit, so not handicap accessible if that is what you are looking for. Unit was very clean, lots of towels and toiletries, tv in all 3 living areas. One bedroom was a king bed with a jetted tub/shower in the bathroom. The other bedroom was two queens and an extra vanity in the room for someone to use if the bathroom was occupied. Super nice balcony space with two tables and plenty of seats, we didn't use it because it was still chilly at night, but this unit would work great for families or couples traveling together. Breakfast was good, but after 3 days of the same eggs and bacon and potatoes we went elsewhere for breakfast our last day. The restaurant downstairs was not open, but that would be a nice change. The only issue I had was with the workout room. I went about 8am our first day, and the maintenance people were in and out several times going into a boiler room that is located in the workout room. It was distracting and annoying, although the staff was not intrusive, just a poor design is all. I skipped it the rest of our time there and walked around town for exercise. Front desk check in and out was very convenient. This hotel is right downtown, and the welcome center is directly across the street. Very nice to walk to restaurants after a day in the surrounding parks. I highly recommend this hotel!

« Nice hotel! Excellent location! »

This hotel was conveniently located in downtown Moab. We had a king suite which was very spacious and clean. The front desk employees were extremely friendly and gave us coupons to use for supper. There were several restaurants within walking distance. There was a nice selection of breakfast items on the buffet. This was also an excellent place to stay if visiting Arches, Dead Horse Point & Canyonlands. Very convenient and would definitely stay again.

    « Service at it's finest »

This is a great choice if you're looking for a place to stay in Moab. Nathaniel greeted us at the front desk then went above and beyond in taking care of my friends and me. He is welcoming, more than accommodating, and clearly takes pride in his job. Driving cross country in a U-Haul, we arrived late, exhausted and cranky and he made a big impact on our being able to relax. My friend's pick-up was full of vulnerable bicycles with locks that could maybe be cut in the night. After personally checking out parts of the property with us to decide the safest place to park, he had us park where he could watch them over the night. We were able to sleep because of that. The rest of the staff really was very friendly, too. Excellent breakfast, and we've had many in hotels. I definitely would recommend this hotel, and I'll stay there again myself the next time I'm in Moab.

« Great rooms, great budget accommodation »

This hotel is a great mid-range place. Rooms were totally big enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. Love the hot tub. Easy access to local restaurants. Very helpful staff. Would definitely stay again. My preference would have been to have more healthy breakfast - sugar filled cereals, sugar filled yoghurts, waffles, carton mix scrambled eggs, fried potates. There was some oatmeal/porridge but it was so runny. There was some tinned peaches in sugary syrup. mmmm. Ideally I would have loved a gluten free piece of toast and an orange or apple. I accept you can't cater to everyone and would still stay here again but not do breakfast.

    5
« Clean, centrally located, great amenities »

Stayed in a small suite and really enjoyed the couches. Breakfast area is beautiful, especially outdoor area and buffet had plenty of options. Walking to restaurants and shops. I have stayed in many motels in Moab and this is one of my favorites. This hotel had the best recycle system in any hotel I've stayed in - loved it. Recycle in hallway so convenient to keep room picked up.

    « winter in Moab »

We mostly stay in Best Westerns, we feel its a great deal with lots of variety. Here, the breakfast was excellent, I'm sure we would have paid top dollar for the same quality of breakfast items. It was off season, but the staff was attentive, the snow removed, "ice" warning signs were in place. This location is a great 3 diamond. We will stay here again.

    4
« Geat location for exploring Arches and other parks... »

Easy to find, great location for exploring Arches and Canyonlands areas. Good quality and clean accommodation, although the room temperature balance was hard to find. Good amenity of the hot tub/spa area in winter, it's a shame though that the pool is no longer open in winter months. Good location for evening food and drinks as opposite Eddie McStiff's bar and eatery. Inclusive breakfast could be improved a little but has enough hot and cold options to be as good as, if not better than, any which would incur an additional expense. All in all recommended for a trip if you're exploring the area.

    4
« Probably the best place to stay in Moab »

A very nice place to stay in Moab. Excellent location with restaurants and stores you can walk to. Hot breakfast of eggs, waffles and other items. Not a five star place, but I doubt one exists in Moab. We have stayed in this hotel on three or four times and it will continue to be our first choice.

    5
« Great location and staff »

Stayed here in mid-December. Rooms were comfortable and clean. I really liked the fitness center which had plenty of space and a multi-exercise machine. Quincy at the front desk was really helpful in suggesting places to eat. Within walking distance to multiple good restaurants.

« Good comfortable place in Moab »

Good hotel, centrally located in Moab. Next door to an excellent ice cream parlour! Hotel was comfortable and clean. Staff were helpful. Parking is limited so be aware of this. Breakfast was standard motel fare (and spaces for breakfast were pretty limited). Outdoor pool was excellent after a hard day's walking in Arches or Canyonlands!

    4
    « Comfy & quiet »

A very nice, quiet, clean place to stay. Our room was on the second level and we only stayed here one night. There were all of the usual amenities plus complimentary candies and hot cider, tea and green apples in the lobby. A nice touch. The Italian restaurant in front of the hotel is excellent!

    « Overnight Stay »

This was a beautiful place to spend the evening with its great downtown location. We were able to walk to shopping and restaurants, etc. The staff was friendly and accommodating. My friend and I thought about leaving and getting breakfast somewhere else, but after taking a look at all the options offered, we decided to stay and eat. The breakfast was exceptionally good with anything you could ever want for breakfast. The best complimentary breakfast I've ever had in a motel.

    5
« Excellent place to stop »

My family and I loved this Best Western. The hotel is clean and has great ambiance. We were greeted with excellent customer service and loved the coffee, hot chocolate, hot cider, tea, and cookies in the lobby. Although the pool was closed for the season, the hot tub combo is huge...like a kiddie pool which my daughters enjoyed thoroughly. The rooms were clean and a good size. The complementary breakfast was very good. We would stay here again in a heart-beat.

« Great Hotel, Good Location and spacious rooms! »

We stayed here during our brief stay in Moab. After a rather chilly day on a jeep tour, we were greeted with hot cider, tea or coffee! Boy, did that hit the spot. Our check in went smoothly and our room was a pleasant surprise. Wonderful King bed and great pillows with a desk and a sofa! The hotel was within walking distance to the downtown area and the breakfast was VERY good!! Great place to stay!

« Fantastic place for the money »

Wonderful roof top terrace, breakfast with loads of choice hot and cold. Staff friendly and helpful. Just set back from main street so v central. No on site restaurant but encourage you to bring in your own food and use their facilities ( microwave in reception)

    « Good Hotel »

Overall a very good hotel at a very prime downtown Moab location. Minutes from The Arches and Canyonlands. Many local dining options close by. Good breakfast and breakfast room. I'd definitely stay again. Only negative was the construction during my stay, but I'm sure that will be done by the time someone reads this.

« Clean, Friendly, Ideal Location in Downtown Moab »

The Best Western Plus was the ideal location for our stay in Moab. We appreciated the cleanliness of the facility and friendliness of the staff. This was our 2nd stay in Moab, and this location was much better than our previous stay since we were "in the action" of downtown Moab. It was very convenient to walk to shops and dining.

    5
« Perfect Location, Very, Very comfortable Stay »

Set right in the center of Moab, this hotel offers very comfortable rooms and common areas and all areas seemed to be very recently upgraded. Warm, cozy, with a solid staff. Hot tub is open all year round. Free breakfast starts at 6am...even on Sundays in the winter. Perfect place to use as a home base for visiting Canyonlands and Arches NP.

    5
    « Wonderful Place »

We stayed at the Canyonlands Best Western in Moab in December for about 10 days. What a wonderful place to stay, especially for the price. All of the staff from check in at the front desk to housekeepers were very pleasant and friendly. The type of people that are happy and make you feel good. Hot eggs, bacon, ham, potatoes, fruits and all of the other breakfast layout was much more than what I had anticipated. The newly renovated rooms are also very nice and beds were super comfortable! If I book in Moab again, this is where I will stay.

Excellent, excellent, excellent! Staff and facilities were impressive and refreshing. They helped us with a few options for dinner that turned out to be within walking distance and the front desk personnel were particularly professional and knowledgeable. Beautiful room, and extremely comfortable bed and pillows!

The staff was very friendly, the rooms were great and breakfast was excellent. The location of the hotel was very convenient and the hotel decor was beautiful. The front desk was knowledgeable of services, restaurants, and activities near by.

    « Wonderful! »

They took excellent care of us! The suites above the restaurant are spacious enough for more than one family unit and includes a fireplace. The staff are friendly and helpful, but unobtrusive. The breakfast is hearty and delicious. It snowed the last night, and they had already cleared the parking lot and scraped our cars. I highly recommend this hotel!

« First time staying at a Best Western »

My husband, son, and I stayed for three nights in a 2-queen suite. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, the room was clean, TV and internet reception was good. The bathroom was on the small side, but the second sink near the closet was a nice touch. The free breakfast was tasty.

    « Fantastic value - Fantastic hotel »

Great hotel which ticked all the boxes. Family of 4 nicely accommodated in a queen suite (2 x queen beds plus fold out couch). Sounds silly but loved that we booked for occupancy of four and actually got 4 towels! I liked that there were 2 vanity sinks too. Nice and spacious for the $. Breakfast was great. Simple and easy. Kids loved the waffle maker. Kids also loved the spa. Staff all fantastic and so helpful. Loved the little touches - cookies, tea, hot choc in the lobby. Very clean room. Thank you!

« Comfortable and Convenient Hotel »

This was just an overnight stop on our journey in November, but was clean, comfortable and very convenient to good dining. The beds were comfy, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was festive and beautifully decorated for Thanksgiving. The breakfast room was crowded and busy the whole morning, but staff was very helpful to get us seated quickly. The breakfast was fine, the usual choices, hot and cold. Nice to have that included when you want to hit the road. I would stay here again.

Very pleased stay with this hotel! Spent 4 nights here at first floor. The room is very spacious. Very nice and friendly staffs! The best is the location near the arches national park! Great hot breakfast as well! Overall, very pleasant stay! Highly recommended!

    « Excellent hotel! »

We stayed here during our trip to Canyonlands and Arches National Park. Everything about this hotel was great - the front desk, the rooms, the location, and especially the breakfast! What really struck me was the large size of the rooms, the cleanliness, and the comfortable beds. Not much else to say, I just wished we had stayed here longer and spent a couple extra days!

Our king room was unbelievably spacious, the bed was huge and comfy and all furnishings and amenities were nicely done and well thought out. We had only planned to stay 2 nights but cancelled our plans to travel to Zion so we could stay right where we were for 5!

This hotel is right on the main street, surrounded by restaurants, shops. Free hot breakfast - egg, bacon, ham, bread, waffle, yogurt, etc. Room is spacious & clean. Staff was friendly. Short driving distance to Arch National Park.

    « Great Hotel »

Decided to pick this place over the other Best Western a few blocks away because of the positive reviews. I have to admit, I pretty much crossed all Best Westerns off of my places to stay for a few decades now due to my negative experience and the fact that they felt more like motels. Well, this location was fully renovated and very classy at that. No longer do they resemble the old days of motels. Reminds me of a luxury hotel and that's really pushing it either. There's plenty of parking available so I don't think that will be a problem. However, there are 2 restaurants that share the same parking lot. I didn't get a chance to try either of them because one was closed for the season and the other was closed by the time I came back from Monument Valley. The lobby was very nice and spacious. There are a few couches for you to sit and just relax with the free cookies, hot chocolate, tea and coffee that is available for guests. There's also a microwave just in case you have left overs you want to heat up. The pool/spa area is just right outside of the lobby, so there's easy access. The pool area has tables available in case you want to bring some food and drinks while swimming or relaxing in the jacuzzi. They provide a free breakfast that runs until 9:30am during the weekdays and 10am on the weekends. There's also a waffle maker that makes 4 mini waffles that's not bad at all. With eggs, bacon, toast and cereal, I don't think anyone will be hungry. This will save you a few bucks for sure. Ok, now on to the rooms. We were placed on the second floor, which is the same floor as the breakfast area. The room was very spacious for a King size. There's a separate living and bed area. A couch to stretch out while watching tv. A fridge and coffee maker is also included. However, there is no safe to store your valuables. The outside sink is a great touch. However, this is where I took away a star. The bathroom is tiny. When you open the door, it brushes the toilet and blocks the tub and can get very crowded if someone is in there with you. I wished they would have had a sliding door instead of one that opens in towards the bathroom. I don't like to be touching or even falling onto the toilet when getting out of the shower. And plus, I don't want to be sitting on the bowl with the floor all wet. But still, I would definitely stay here in the future.

    « Great family place »

Great place for my family. The kids (10, 12,15) all raved over how spacious and comfortable the place was. We hated to leave! Everyone had a bed and my son loved not having to sleep on the floor! Kudos to a wonderful family hotel experience.

    « Central location »

Everything said so far I agree :- location, breakfast, free hot drinks, cookies, candies.. Only minus are the indifferent staff esp at front desk. But if prices are low enough, I can bypass this aspect n get my keys and be on my way!

« Great location, solid value, friendly staff »

This hotel is right on the main drag, near the restaurants, shops and Moab Adventure. Free cookies at night. Good selection for breakfast- step above most Best Westerns. The pool was COLD, but felt good after being out on the trail.

« Great hotel and location »

Was here with my girlfriend visiting the area and going wheeling (offroad). The hotel is in a good location in the middle of moab, near lots of restaurants and shops. Room was clean and large, staff friendly and a decent free breakfast. Pool area was great also. Will stay here again on our next visit!

« Another great pick from TA »

We typically stay at Best Westerns when we travel...there are two Best Westerns in Moab, actually they are across the street from each other. The reviews on TA helped us make our choice to stay at this one and we were very happy. Nice staff and a great room made our short stay very enjoyable. The best bonus was the location - literally in the center of town and within walking distance of shopping and eating. Although we discovered several of the shops and restaurants apparently close for the winter after the Thanksgiving weekend.

    « Excellent stay! »

We loved the Canyonlands Inn (just across the street from another Best Western). As Best Western Rewards members (but with no elite status!), we were upgraded to a Deluxe King, and enjoyed the spacious room with a couch. The place was very clean and had new furnishings, a comfortable bed, and a well-equipped bathroom with nice amenities. The free breakfast was well-stocked and had some healthy options (not the norm for free breakfasts in the US!). Hot beverages and homemade cookies down in the lobby each evening were really a nice touch. The front desk service was very friendly as well. My only complaint is about the pillows that Best Western uses--I find them over-large and quite uncomfortable--but when we asked for replacements on our second night, we got excellent substitutes right away.

    « Love this Hotel! »

This is a great hotel for the money. No resort fee or paying for parking! HA. They have hot apple cider, hot chocolate and cookies when you check in. FREE Wifi. It is clean and updated. Love the shampoo, conditioner and lotion that smell like fresh cucumbers! Very comfortable. Staff was super friendly and hard working! Great location and easy to walk to all the shops and restaurants. They do NOT just throw a bagel at you and call it breakfast either....there are eggs, bacon, ham, fresh fruit, waffles, muffins, etc. I will definitely stay here again!

    « Great hotel »

We stayed here for several days and it was perfect. It actually exceeded our expectations. Great location, extremely clean, comfortable beds, friendly staff, free breakfast... what more do you need? We would absolutely stay here again.

    « Nice Hot tub »

This is a nice property. The hot tub area is outdoors and the hot tub itself is very nice; large, two levels, and clean. Plenty of towels. The breakfast is 'fast food' ish, but they have protein; eggs, ham and bacon. I find the Best Western brand to be the sweet spot of price and cleanliness - and this Best Western met my standard.

« Best hotel in Moab »

This hotel exceeded my expectations, and then some. First, the location. It has the best location in all of Moab, right in the very center of town. Walking distance to all the best restaurants and shops. The hotel has obviously gone through some major renovations recently. Everything was beautiful and pristine. I encountered at least 7 staff members during my stay. Each person was friendly, pleasant, and very helpful. The hot tub was one of the best I have ever experienced. It was very large, clean, and most of all hot. I can't stand a luke warm hot tub. After a long day of hiking in the national parks, it was so nice to take a soak before going out to dinner. My room was very large and recently remodeled, with the most comfortable bed. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic. A large selection of fresh items, fruit, eggs, yogurt, Belgian waffles, and oatmeal. The room was staffed by a very friendly man who kept the place humming along. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a hotel stay so much. The parks surrounding Moab are well worth visiting again. I hope I have the chance to stay here again.

With kids in Nov. Cold. Stayed at the amazing suite that's a separate building with 3-4 others. 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, full kitchen, desk, table, very clean and wonderful interiors. Don't let the outside fool you. The interiors are amazing. Will stay here again and will ask for this or similar room. The kids and wife loved the stay here. Attached some sample pics in the "used state".

We had a family vacation in Moab and had a great stay at Best Western Canyonlands. Five of us were very comfortable in the two Queen Bed and pullout couch. The breakfast was awesome, and the Jacuzzi was great.

    « Good suprise »

This place is well managed and maintained. We stayed 2 nights with our 2 children in a double queen bedroom. Large room, very convenient for 4 persons. This is a great idea to offer a separated place next to the bathroom to store luggages, also with an additional washing basin which is very convenient for families. Large choice breakfast of good quality. Was nice to have real orange juice. We also liked the heated pool and the hot tub. Great for children as well. Overall, very good stay at a decent price for Moab.

« Great for one night or a week »

Visitors can choose between a typical hotel room or a family style suite. We stayed in a suite which was located one the premises, but not attached to the hotel itself. Their three room Main St. suite has two private balconies, 42-inch and 47-inch flat screen televisions, jetted tub, three euro top beds - a king and two queens, two bathrooms, eco-friendly amenities, fireplace, sectional sofa, kitchenette, dining table, work desk, free Wi-Fi, free hot breakfast buffet with eggs, bacon, waffles, yogurt, fresh fruit and much more. This hotel is centrally located in Moab and is an easy launching point for trips out to Arches National Park, Dead Horse Pointe State Park, Canyonlands National Park or a jog south to Hole 'n the Rock. There are lost of restaurants that surround the hotel that you can either take a short drive too, or walk. The room was very clean and the hotel staff was very friendly/helpful!

    « Great Hotel »

Excellent location in the heart of Moab close to the main road. Nice pool and laaaaarge outdoor jacuzzi surrounded by plenty of seats and sunbeds. They may consider cleaning or renewing the mattrasses of those beds because they had large stains on them. We stayed with six ppl in the family room with streetview. These rooms are recently build or renewed and were very luxurious and had a very large balcony/patio with streetview, (the poolview familyroom has no private balcony/patio). Really, these rooms are very, VERY nice !! The breakfast is above average and can be taken outside so one can enjoy the great view while having breakfast.

I enjoyed my stay and relaxed in the great hot tub. Friendly staff and plenty of breakfast options. Clean rooms and easy check in and checkout. Very nice central location leaving you with the whole town within walking distance. Great dining options very close and even though it is down town it feels quite and personal.

« Great place to stay, you can't go wrong... »

Super clean hotel in the center of town, walking distance to many restaurants and shops. A great value especially when one considers the free breakfast which went beyond cereal and included fresh cooked eggs, waffles etc.

« Fabulous property in the heart of Moab »

Actually I can't say enough praises for this hotel. The rooms were nicely appointed with comfortable seating as well as wonderful bedding. The front desk was very helpful in recommending dining options. This property employs modern technology from the proximity door locks to the electric car charging stations. Included in the room rate is a full breakfast on the terrace level. Eggs, hash brown potatoes, bacon, waffles, cereals, you name it, are provided in a comfortable setting. Their coffee is the best I have had at a restaurant, let alone a motel, in years. This will be my destination of choice when traveling through the area from now on.

    « Lots to Like! »

Breakfast staff was very attentive and friendly; a great way to start the morning. A chance to unwind in the evening is happiness in the hot tubs! Convenient location in the center of Moab and the recommendation for Zak's led us to more attentive and fun wait staff for dinners!

Loved the hot tub! Service was great all around. Beds were comfortable. Hotel located in central area to restaurants. Didn't hear sound from above, but did hear some noise in the hall outside out door. Couldn't find a plug that charged our phones at night when lights went out.

    « Excellent experience! »

As other reviewers have noted, spacious, clean, contemporary rooms; central location; generous breakfast; clean guest laundry facility; friendly staff. I will add: BEST HOTEL MATTRESS I'VE EVER SLEPT ON! (though firmer pillows would be great too). Only criticism (not just of this hotel): If hotels want guests to reuse towels on multi-night stays, please provide more towel bars. Wet towels can't dry on a hook. Will definitely choose again. Thank you for excellent 4-night stay!

    5
« Friendly staff; great location »

Extremely friendly staff. Clean and comfortable rooms, Great touches in the lobby: 2 computers with printers, delicious chocolate chip cookies, yummy chocolate mints, and newspapers. Breakfast was good enough, but my son complained a lot about the bacon--we went to the Moab Diner for breakfast on 2 of our 6 mornings. Perfect location at the center of town. Enormous hot tub was very relaxing after long hikes. The wireless internet was a bit flaky; we lost signal several times in the room.

    5
« Spacious rooms, great location »

The hotel is in the center of town. Easy to walk to many restaurants. The rooms are large with very comfortable beds. Breakfast buffet in the lobby was fresh and had a good variety. Staff was friendly and helpful

« Great location, large clean rooms. »

I stayed at the Canyonlands Inn for 3 nights. The hotel is right in the center of town, walking distance from practically everything. The rooms are large, clean, and comfortable. The rooms are well appointed and everything worked as it should. Having a good internet connection is important to me, and the internet was fast here. The staff at the front desk was professional and friendly and offered tips and coupons for dining. Overall a pleasant experience.

« Best Breakfast in recent memory »

Three juice flavors. Fresh fruit including cut melons and pineapple. Scrambled eggs, ham, bacon and potatoes. individual waffles with variety of syrups. Plus pastries, English muffins, toast, cereal and coffee! It was a real breakfast feast! Large spacious room, full bath with extra sink/countertop outside the door. Comfy bed and pillows. Plus micro and refrigerator and Keurig Coffee maker. Very nice amenities and close to a variety of good restaurants. I don't often give tens but Canyonlands earned it.

    « No hot water »

I would have rated this hotel as pretty good upon the updating and location of the hotel, BUT, after a power outage there was NO hot water. I didn't have time to wait for the hot water heaters to heat up because of a tight schedule. Not being able to shower and wash my hair ruined the rest of my day. I understand the power outage was not the hotels fault, but how management handled it afterwards was. I asked for a discount on my room and was only given $20 off. (This was a pretty pricey hotel also). And they were't very nice about it. The only other time I had an issue like this at a hotel (no air conditioning due to power outage in the summer) the staff bent over backwards to apologize and did not charge me for the room. The location is excellent and the rooms are large and have been nicely updated, but for the price you pay, I would recommend staying somewhere else.

    5
« Large rooms and great location »

We stayed here for two nights and we had a large room with two queen sized beds. The rooms are very spacious and there is also a sitting area with a couch. It is very convenient to stay here because there are lots of great restaurants within walking distance. We found the room to be very clean and well maintained. We usually come to Moab once a year and we have tried other motels but have found the location and rooms to be the best here.

    5
« Excellent value, nice hotel »

I was very happy to see how nice the hotel and the rooms were. Everything was very clean and orderly. There were other guests close by but the rooms are well soundproofed and we didn't hear a thing. My only complaint is that the beds are way too soft. I have back issues and was glad we only stayed the one night. The breakfast which is included was outstanding. Very nicely presented and tasty. I would come back here anytime but perhaps ask for a firmer mattress.

This was our first visit to Moab and we were pleasantly surprised by what a pleasant town it is, nestled by the Colorado River and Arches Nat'l Park. We chose the Best Western Plus Canyonlands Inn because of its excellent location in the heart of the pretty downtown area, and because we generally are pleased with Best Western properties. The room was spacious and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

    « THE WORSE NIGHTMARE »

I was in Moab for a work trip with my husband and chose to visit GREAT Arches National Park on a day off. But got stuck with our car, also not having a connection to search for a hotel with my mob., and made it hard to get to the city at night. I am usually very careful when writing a review for I try to valuate and balance all aspects, amenities etc... I am used to travel the world and work and worked in the hospitality business for more than 22 years now. But this place couldn't have not been worse of all places. The personnel at the front-desk reception were unfriendly, detached, nor helpful nor nice. The room was okay except for the bathroom that didn't have the curtesy you expect from a 3 starts hotel and paying 200 dollars per night (SO NOT WORTHED!). There were no shower gel (thing that I found everywhere in Utah even in the smallest INN). The in-room coffee provided, was terrible. It was cold that night, and was very tired from the loooong day and needed a HOT shower, which it was not hot! We then went out for a bite in town and when back to the hotel it was still cold that we had to turn on the heating. Better if we didn't! at 12:00 at night the room filled with a horrible smell that couldn't made me nor my husband sleep all night. I got a terrible headache and when turned on the light close to the bed I realized the sheets were not clean!!!! of course on a side we didn't touched. Too bad ! there were another queen bed, which we inspection before and then used. we finally could fall asleep around 4:30 in the morning. But woke up still with a terrible headache. Couldn't eat anything from the breakfast but I accompanied my husband to the breakfast room, the visual aspect of it all wasn't promising anyway. But this was probably because of my head spinning...So I went down to the front desk to kindly ask to PLEASE give me an advil in case they had some (ALL HOTELS HAVE!) and I have been answered, "there is a pharmacy, or a market just around the corner, you can go there and buy some there, madame". I paid the check and left right away.

    « Great location »

We were in Moab for 3 nights in October 2015. The Best Western Canyonlands was in the perfect place for walking around town. We loved the rooftop terrace. We took advantage of it for eating lunch everyday. One night we sat up there by the fire pit overlooking the passersby. So relaxing. The rooms were clean. Everyone was kind and helpful when we had questions. We were not happy that they did not offer in-room safes. We were told we could put anything valuable in the bike storage that is located in the basement level. It was under surveillance. The breakfast was pretty good. The room had a refrigerator and microwave. The in-room coffee could be improved upon. Overall we were happy with this stay and would not hesitate to go there again!

« Nice but vastly overpriced. »

Nice, clean, up to date room and facility. $180. for one room, one night, in October is excessive and not worth it. Air conditioner was very loud and cheap for a room this expensive. Walls are thin and we could hear the people in the next room talking and laughing.

    5
    « Superb! »

While visiting the Arches National Park, I chose to stay here overnight. I highly recommend making reservations before arriving as it fills up fast. Everything about this place is above standard. The rooms are spacious, luxurious and meet high quality cleanliness. Breakfast was also good. The exceptional quality of the atmosphere, easy access for shopping and eating, made for an impressive stay. The beauty of the surrounding mountains, added to the ambiance. I personally recommend room 202 if one likes convenience to the front lobby and the impressive breakfast patio. The money spent for the room, was well worth the price.

Pool, fitness room & other amenities made this a perfect stay for our vacation.

    « A Great Stay. »

This BW. has got to be the BEST of the BW's we ever stayed at. Snuggled in downtown Moab, it is in the heartland of National Parks. From the huge variety of breakfast choices, to the freshly scrambled eggs, this hotel has it all. And the adjacent restaurants right outside served a varied of menu items with reasonable prices. If back in this area again, will arrange for a longer stay.

    5
« Great Location, Excellent Rooms »

This hotel is right in the middle of Moab's main street and so you are perfectly located for a short walk to any of the nearby restaurants. Arches National park is just a five minute drive away and Canyonlands National park less than thirty minutes drive. The hotel itself is very well equipped, staff are friendly and our room was excellent with a nice lounge area at the window end. Also to note - free WiFi, complementary breakfast including hot stuff like bacon and eggs and plenty of parking space. The rooms to the front may pick up some noise from the pool and associated restaurant on the main street, but this all stops promptly at 10:00 pm and we had very peaceful nights. Altogether really good.

    4
« Great location and experience »

This was one of the best places we stayed at on our trip. The staff was very friendly, and the hotel was great. The room was very clean and roomy. Very easy to get to the pool and spa. Sadly we got there late and were only able to enjoy them for a short time. The bed was comfortable, and the food was very good for breakfast. Some good shopping right down the street within walking distance for souvenirs. Only downside was their parking was very full.

    5
    « Centrally located, well-managed, comfortable »

If you are going to Moab, I think the best advice is to stay right in the middle of town so you can walk to a lot of places and have that extra glass of wine and not have to worry with driving. This hotel fits the bill. It is reasonably priced by Moab standards and very close to numerous restaurants. My only complaint was that our room faced the pool and it could get very noisy out there, but it stopped promptly at 10 pm when the pool closed. One night people out in the pool area were playing loud, amplified music. So we called management, who quickly put a stop to at least that part. So if you have small kids or some reason you need quiet before 10, advise to ask for a room that does not face the pool. Also I would note that we were there during "Utah Education Weekend" a 4-day weekend when kids get off because of some teacher conference, and it is the biggest travel weekend in Utah. So everything was packed, all the campgrounds, RV sites, and hotels were completely booked. Management at this hotel managed all this with no trouble and were responsive to every detail. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was great. Really added to our enjoyment of national parks near Moab.

« Comfort and convenience in Moab »

On our trip to Utah's national parks, we spent two nights here. Our room was large, very clean and comfortable. After hiking during the day, it was lovely to relax in the hot tub and then stretch out on the comfy beds. The desk clerks were helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet area was clean and opened on to a covered terrace. They even provided heavy duty paper towel so we could clean the mud from our hiking boots. A special storage room is available for mountain bikes. A great lace to relax and recharge before getting back to the parks

« A great place to stay in Moab »

The Best Western Plus Moab is an excellent value for the money. The rooms and bathrooms are large enough for a family of 4. The location is close to a wide variety of restaurants and shops. It is a short drive to access the Arches, and Canyon Lands National park. If you have a pet, leave it at home because they only allow service animals.

    « 3rd Year at this hotel »

Negatives: Soiled hallway carpet just west of lobby....damaged/ scarred door leading to pool. New steel door on south side of pool needs paint ! Driveway required more power-wash cleanup after major sewage overflow at adjacent Italian cafe.....driveway stained from sewage. Hotel management should have been on top of this....health issue also for guests tracking in sewage !

We stayed here because almost ALL other rooms were booked for the weekend we were coming and it was pricey! But I will say that it is a very nice property. It was a warm weekend and we ate breakfast out on the deck looking at the scenery. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would stay here again in "off" season when the rates are at a more decent price but not at the price we paid.

« Best of the Best Western! »

We often choose Best Western when travelling. This property in Moab, Utah is the best ever we have found, including other national hotel companies. The attention to every detail, from staff personality to hot breakfast quality (and outdoor seating on the patio!), seasonal decorations, complimentary cookies at night, pool and spa area landscaped to the nines. And location!!!! Right near the heart of main street Moab, yet quiet and cozy inside the property. Walked to all the favorite dining spots. This is a treasure that we intend to book early on every trip to the National Parks in the area! Thank you, owners and staff!

    « Avoid room 125!!!!! »

Here we are a retired couple and we get the very room an earlier reviewer said to avoid. He is so right. Try resting in late afternoon while listening to kids doing cannonballs in the pool. And if you open your curtains you've sacrificed all privacy!! What a pity!! And cooling system is very noisy plus strong cooking odors waft into the pool area. Otherwise a great spot with spacious rooms, decent full breakfast and nice fire pit area on roof.

« Decent for Moab but not worth the price. »

This is one of the nicer places to stay in Moab. That said, it is not really worth the price. It is very, very loud. The traffic (it's right on the very busy main drag), people outside the window and even people in the hallway are all very noticeable. Otherwise, it's fine. It has an average breakfast and a cute little pool and hot tub. It is centrally located so that's nice for dining and shopping. Overall, not bad but won't be staying here again.

    « a perfect hub for moab »

There is many little things that make your stay in the hotel worth while. Free breakfast including fruits, free wifi, a self-loundry, free parking, and everything in moab is within walking distance. Our room was spacious and had a rather loud fridge that we turned off at night. Else everything was perfect for a trip to Moab,

    « Resort feel »

The location is located downtown in walking distance to shops, restaurants, rentals and stores. The spa and pool area give you a resort feel and is relaxing. The spa has a waterfall into a smaller spa area. The breakfast offers a variety of items to please. The rooms are large and have a generous living room area. The hotel layout has 5-6 steps up and down on each level making it so that you have to carry your luggage to your room vs rolling the luggage cart directly to your door. Noise seems to travel more than usual at this hotel.

« Good location but pricey »

The hotel location is in the center of town and very convenient to restaurants. It has a nice outdoor space on the second floor. The hotel offered a full hot breakfast which was good. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The only negative is the price. It was a little high and was not a great value.

« Great place to stay »

The Best Western Plus on South Main St in Moab is located in the middle of town near good restaurants and shops and an easy drive to both Arches and Canyon Lands National Parks. We spent two nights here on our trip to the area. The hotel is very comfortable, the staff is excellent and with breakfast included it offers a very good value. The breakfast area is in a separate large room with outdoor seating available. The choices on the buffet are wide. Rooms are large and clean. There is also an outdoor pool.

« Nice hotel in the center of Moab »

First of all we have to mention the great staff at the reception. It was very difficult to get a room in Moab the last week of September 2015. We liked Moab so much that we wanted to extend our stay by three nights. The staff did their best so we stayed in the hotel for three days. Only based on their service we want to stay in this hotel next time we come to Moab. The hotel is just in the center of Moab so you can walk to all the restaurants and shops. We asked for a quiet room and we got a room on second floor. It was a big and quiet room. The hotel had also an outside swimmingpool but we did not use it. The hotel has free wifi, free parking and a nice breakfast buffet. We will recommend this hotel in Moab.

« Great location, great hotel »

This hotel is right in the middle of it all in Moab. Stores and restaurants all around so really convenient. Not loud though, it's still nice and quiet at night. The hotel itself is high quality, nice big rooms, double sinks, clean and very well maintained. The breakfast is a great buffet with everything you might need and very friendly and helpful staff (extra compliments to them, haven't seen that many so friendly and helpful staff, really great). It's not cheap, but for the location and what you get, it's definitely worth it. Would definitely stay here again.

    « Very enjoyable stay »

We enjoyed this hotel as much as any on our travels. All arrangements went smoothly and the provided buffet breakfast was good. The hotel facilities, pool and spa were excellent. On advice from the reception staff we ate out successfully at two local restaurants getting 10% discount as guests of the hotel.

    « Room 301 »

The last BW I stayed in was Ormond Beach Fla. and it was a dump. So I was a little leery of staying in another BW. But this one was over the top. I stayed in room 301. It is over the Restaurant but it closes at 9:30.Romm 301 has two bedrooms and two baths. One room with a king sized bed private bath and Balcony. The other room has two queens a private bath and a separate vanity. There is a gas fireplace kitchen with dishes, utensils, sink, microwave, frig, freezer, private balcony and couches and chairs everywhere.

    « Great Hotel »

The Friendly hotel staff members go out of their way to ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible. The hotel is very comfortable and the hot breakfast is very good. The hotel s every bit as beautiful as the surrounding beauty of Arches NP, Canyonlands NP and Dead Horse SP. Great hotel and we would stay here again.

    « Disappointed »

Stayed here for two nights during our recent 3,000 mile road trip through the south-west states. Asked for a quiet 2-Queen Room on the upper floor (served by lift) but we overlooked the outdoor pool and faced both the main road and a cafe which provided evening entertainment, all of which proved to be more than the soundproofing could cope with. We were also surprised to find that the breakfast balcony looked directly into our room requiring the curtains to remain closed for privacy. On the plus side the reception team were very welcoming and efficient, the beds were very comfortable, and the room came with a selection of pillows, desk, chairs, air con (quite noisy), fridge, microwave, hairdryer, iron, tea/coffee facilities, large free car park, and free wi-fi (but need to log in every time). We had a minor issue with the 32-channel flat screen TV when the programme guide refused to move on from the previous midnight making it difficult for non-locals like us to work out what might be available to view. There was a good choice at breakfast and plenty of seating but the serving area was poorly laid out and quite cramped. Invoice delivered under door overnight allowed quick check-out. At over $230/night this was the most expensive stop on our trip and didn't compare well with other brands in terms of value for money.

« Low-key Comfort at the Base of the Canyon Cliffs »

Being a chain hotel, I typically don't expect much in the way of a unique experience. But this Best Western Plus hotel somehow seemed more than just a chain hotel. We had a ground-floor suite, with a fridge and separate seating area. The pool was a much needed break from the go-go-go of the road trip, and the jacuzzi felt amazing. I read that the pool is year-round; in winter, there's a dome that covers it. The best thing about this stay was its ideal location. Moab is a cute city, and Canyonlands Inn is within walking distance of so much. The nearby restaurants were good, and the breakfast included in the stay made it almost unnecessary to stop next door at Peace Tree Juice Bar - almost.
