Best Western Plus Greenwell Inn

This is not the Marriott, but is excellent for the price paid. The room was clean and daily service was excellent. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast is about as good as it gets for this type of hotel. They had some cereal options that weren't all sugar. They had in interesting automatic pancake maker that I had not seen before. Push the button and watch it make two pancakes delivered to your plate. Only complaint would be the lack of light in the room. The overhead was dim, but if I turned on all the lamps, then it was fine.

Wanted to visit the national parks nearby so Moab was a nice town to stay.. Hotel is walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops. Breakfast was nice, freshly cooked eggs and sausage and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

This hotel is very conveniently located in the middle of town with lots of surrounding restaurants and a local grocery store. The atmosphere and view were very nice and we felt very taken care of. The man in charge of the continental breakfast is a doll! Highly recommend this hotel!

We were very comfortable in this hotel. Staff greeted us warmly and were very attentive and friendly. The room was clean and it was quiet. Breakfast was included but the pancake machine was not working. Snacks and beverages available for purchase in the lobby, as well as free coffee and water. We were so tired after an 8.5 hour drive, we did not have the opportunity to explore the area, but the staff provided suggestions if we wished to do so. We had a 1st floor room and could park right outside the door to our room, something that is greatly important for us, as my husband has difficulty with stairs. Overall, we were very happy with this location and would stay again.

This hotel is in a perfect location close to shopping and dining, as well as easy access to trails. Staff are warm welcoming. The pool area is nice, and breakfast far exceeded our expectations. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

A bit expensive for my taste but Moab is expensive . Picked this because of location and totally worth it . You can walk main st easily. They're a Mexican restaurant Nx door literally a few yards away, so many other restaurants within walking distance . Arches national park is 8 min drive . Moab food trucks about 2-3 blocks away .Welcome to Moab sign also a few blocks . Breweries also within walking distance . Rooms are very clean no noise complaints . AC actually works ! No carpet a plus . Front desk during the day was super nice gave me some eateries to vísit and attraction, very inviting and nice. Continental breakfast available and lotsa choices .

Pleasant enough until: - AC very noisy at night. - Bathtub drains so slow, serval inches of water in tub - Worst - I was not told I needed to request room service for the next day when I checked in. I was unfamiliar with this policy. So I had no clean towels. To the office. That's when she apologized and offered towels. I asked about the dirty towels in our room. She said I could bring them to the office. FAIL!

Clean, tidy, friendly staff, great pool, gym, laundry, breakfast all of these items were well received and enjoyed. So great we stayed on to enjoy more of the offerings around Moab. Would most definitely return.

Friendly staff that was was accommodating in getting us a first floor room. The rooms were clean and had no smell and the beds were very comfortable! There was a nice variety for breakfast and the eating area was clean.

The best western GREENWELL inn was well located in town with easy acces to shops ,restaurants and National park, the main areas where nice and easy to find way around, guest rooms where clean and tidy, although you had to request room cleaning etc from front desk . Buffet breakfast was ok with basics In summary nice best western but in my view was pricy for what it was at over £200 per night

There are two BW across the street from each other. This is the older one. It has been totally updated yet still has the original Southwest charm look. It had free breakfast, super fast internet, a refrigerator, pool, laundry, and all you expect. We stayed an extra day (3 total) as there is a lot to see and do in Moab. It is right in the heart of downtown Moab with shops and restaurants all around.

Great area by all the shops. Room could use a good cleaning. Front desk was staff was friendly. Rooms need to be remodeled. Shower curtain made the entire room smell. Easy area to walk from to rent bikes, Jeeps hiking, side by sides and rafting.

Went to Moab for a river trip and stayed at the Greenwell Inn. The Good: Great location downtown for shopping, and nice pool and fitness area. The air conditioning was perfect for us, but no thermostat that we could see, probably due to people setting it too low. Room amenities were very nice with an larger fridge, lots of closet storage, double head shower, and desk with plenty of USB connections for charging phones, etc. The Average: Breakfast was adequate with some hot items (scrambled eggs & sausage) yogurts, and cereals/oatmeal. Traffic noise and exhaust from trucks on Main Street. The Bad: The mattresses in room 210 had collapsed coils and despite the pillowtop mattress pads were very uncomfortable so we didn't get much sleep.

The internet was not working in the bedroom, in the reception, in any are hotel area. I also did not like the quality of the products selected for breakfast. The refrigerator was not working properly. The bedroom was " Ok " . The receptionists were nice, but we left for another hotel which offered better room , newer, remodeled and for the same price that we were paying in Best Western.

Perfect position in moab city center, perfect to esplorare the countryside. Room was confortable and big, just a little to dark inside but not a big problem. Breakfast was various and good: Apolonio takes care of everyone with big smile every morning, great!

Hotel was very clean and staff was great. Breakfast was great. Would recommend this motel to others. Walking distance to various places to dine with several options of taste. Close proximity to Arches National Park.

Nice grounds, friendly, courteous staff, good location for walking to restaurants. Nice amenities. housekeeping was very good. All of our needs were met. We will stay there again when in Moab. Thanks to all of you!

I can't say enough good about our stay. Clean comfortable rooms with nice beds and fancy touches. Fireplace in the lobby. FANTASTIC hot breakfast with everything you could want and friendly staff there to serve you. Stay here. You won't be disappointed 10/5 stars. This place is a bargain.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was clean and comfortable and pretty quiet.The double shower head was really cool. It could be updated but for the price we paid that was not an issue. The hot tub was pretty good but probably needs some maintenance as there were not many bubbles but it was no big deal since it was warm and it was cold outside.

Friendly and helpful staff at the reservation desk. Comfortable bed, good working amenities and decent breakfast choice. Would return again. Conveniently located within walking distance of shops and restaurants.

This hotel had lots of amenities as well as great service. They offered an extensive breakfast with selections varying occasionally. Alex was in the kitchen, and he kept all the hot dishes fresh and refilled. And Apollo helped everyone find what they needed at the breakfast buffet and refilled supplies. Both of them made you feel comfortable and welcome. Everyone at the front desk was cheerful and helpful. Michele answered questions about the guest laundry and was a resource for getting change for the machines. The hotel had a working hot tub, but it had leaves floating in it. My husband asked Cheyenne at the front desk about the leaves and the next time we checked, it was clean and hot. The rooms were comfortable and clean. And the location was perfect for a short trip to the Arches National Park and a number of other local attractions. Also within walking distance of numerous great restaurants.

Good location near the middle of town. Short walks to the Moab Diner, the restaurant next door (El Tapatio this year) or Zaks across the street. Adequate internet for streaming. Good hot basic breakfasts with eggs, bisquits, sausage, pancakes, oatmeal, etc...

I am a Best Western Diamond rewards member and I stay at a lot of Best Westerns in Canada and the US and this is the best one. Very clean and everything worked. Michelle at the front desk was so pleasant and helpful. The hot breakfast is the best we've ever had at a Best Western. The eggs smelled and tasted like real fresh cooked eggs not frozen eggs. Alex the chef is an amazing cook. Apollo works hard to make sure everything is always topped up and clean. I think they should send Alex and Apollo to all the Best Westerns to teach all the breakfast staff how it should be done.

Nice hotel in downtown Moab. the breakfast was varied each day with the hot items. Coffee available 24 hours plus in the room. The fireplace in the lobby was inviting and the staff was friendly. I like that the pool and spa was still open in November. Great location to walk all around the town.

The hotel staff were so amazing. Informative and friendly. The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet was really great but the staff made it over the top. One of the staff were even able to get a smile out of my 17 year old son. So close to everything and just beautiful area

Very conveniently located in downtown Moab on Main Street within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The receptionist, Cheyenne, was very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast staff, Apolonio and Alex were efficient, letting us know table by table when a new batch of biscuits was ready. The rooms were adequate: clean but nothing exceptional.

This is a great stay in midtown Moab. Rooms were exceptional. Kim and Michele were very helpful and pleasant. Room was clean and had all the amenities. Wifi worked good. On-site breakfast was ample but no bananas! Easy walk to shopping and dining. Mexican restaurant next door was good but could only afford to eat there once! A half a block down the street was Moab Diner it comes highly recommended. Food was good and prices reasonable. I would stay here again!

We used this as a landing spot for arches and canyonlands and did not dissapoint. right in downtown moab so easy to walk to everything. Beds were comfortable, amenities fine and breakfast solid. Would stay here again

The room was less than what I would have expected for the price. The TV did not work properly. The font desk girl tried to help, however; the manager was unhelpful and seemed to be uncaring. We did receive a 10% discount at the time of checkout, but did not know that the discount was coming until that time. Too little too late

We stayed that for 5 nights and it was a very convenient location to downtown shops and restaurants. With in walking distance, you can do want ever you want, eat, shop, etc. The room was nice, but a little dated. The air conditioning was VERY noisy and I should have told someone about it. I also got no room service during the stay. I did ask for it. We did get new towels during the week. The staff and breakfast was really good and the staff in the breakfast are was super friendly! Would I stay there again, yes. The price for the room was a little high for what you get, in my opinion.

I stayed at the hotel recently with my family on a vacation tour to Arches and Canyonlands NP. The location of the hotel is on the main road of Moab and very convenient being near to shops, restaurents, park etc. The rooms are well appointed and all the fixtures and amenities needed are there. The front office attendants are very prompt and helpful. A comment about the complimentary breakfast however i.e., there was only one egg preparation (scrambled eggs) with no scope for alternative orders which is a bit problematic for people who do not like to go for meat at breakfast. Overall, a very pleasant stay at the place.

We stayed the night while visiting Arches National Park. The hotel was clean, the food was great with plenty of options, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There was a large dining area with seating inside and out, and plenty of free parking with no resort fees.

My family & I travelled to Moab to visit the National Parks. The BW-Greenwell is a great location in town. There are any dining options nearby. Our rooms were clean & very spacious. All in room amenities were in working order & they have a bottle opener attached to the wall! The pool & hot tub area was a nice place to relax after a long day of hiking. The front desk staff was very friendly & willing to help with questions & reccommendations.

Enjoyed the night we stayed here very much. Within walking distance to most things at the north end of town. Lots of secure parking. Big pool and fitness area. Breakfast was plentiful. Felt like a safe place for my family. I would stay here again without question. Very clean.

We rolled in at night hoping to find a hotel with an opening and we like Best Western, so we tried there first. They were super friendly and helpful and got us a room right away. The room was clean and beds were the most comfortable that we had on our trip. The guys that do the breakfast just make you smile with how genuine and kind they are. My son said the pool was warm and felt great. We would definitely stay here for a third time if we're back in Moab The picture is a note my daughter wrote for the staff. I had no idea she was writing it but it was super sweet

First of all, we thought all of the lodging in Moab was expensive. We ended up thinking this was likely the best value. We thought quite a lot about this property vs. the other Best Western in town (they are only a block or so apart). We chose the Greenwell, and while we cannot compare (except on price, the Greenwell significantly less expensive on an already expensive trip), we were very happy with our stay. For starters, the hotel itself communicated with us once we made the reservation. This allowed us to email back and forth a few times. They were able to answer, for example, that they had sufficient breakfast items for my wife who is gluten free. They provided enough information (including a good cancellation policy) we extended our stay by a day. (the breakfast was excellent by the way!) The property is very nicely located in Moab on the south end of their main shopping area. We ate in different excellent restaurants every night... all were within a 3 block or so walk. Staff were very helpful with recommendations and information. Do note that their post-pandemic housekeeping schedule is "on request", though they made it clear we could request it daily if we wanted. They willingly provided clean towels each day. If we return to Moab (and I suspect we will), we will not be researching hotels for days. We'll just book a reservation at the Greenwell and be assured of a great experience.

Right at the heart of the picture town of Moab. It was an easy drive into the Arches National Park. The pool was enjoyable for the hot summer night to make the evening even more comfortable. The Best Western check-in hosts were the best, evening and morning. Very friendly for making our stay at a BEST WESTERN HOTAL even better for the future visits.

The location of this property is great, but the facility is over 50 years old and definitely needs to be updated. The breakfast buffet was good and the 2 gentlemen in charge were great! Kim at the front desk was helpful and friendly. However our room was dirty, had stains on the sheets, smelled funny, and had an ant infestation. The outside of the property was littered with trash and trash cans were overflowing, I have contacted Best Western corporate with these concerns, but have yet to receive a response.

We booked here for our family trip and four of us had wonderful time and great rest. Staff greets us at check in and provide us information and things they offer for our stay. We would recommend this place to our family and friends

My husband and I stayed for three nights and thoroughly recommend the Greenwell. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet but could have used some updating, but everything else more than compensated and earned a 5 star rating, including the friendly staff and breakfast buffet. Breakfast couldn't have been better. Polo kept the buffet and tables immaculately clean and Alex the cook kept the food coming, fresh and plentiful. The veranda was a pleasant dining spot to watch busy Moab. Truly a great reason to stay at the Greenwell Best Western.

Great room, very comfortable bed, and a breakfast selection that was excellent. Front desk staff, and especially the breakfast buffet chef, we're all over the top accommodating and friendly. This is my place to stay when we are in Moab.

Enjoyed our 5 night stay in early April 2022. We had a room upstairs in the very back with microwave, etc. Our room was clean and comfortable and very quiet, we were set back from the street. Not too busy first few days, picked up when we were leaving on Saturday. Staff was very professional, friendly and attentive when we needed to restock a few items! The hotel is in a great location. Many restaurants in walking distance after a day of exploring, grocery store down a few blocks, gas close by, and the state liquor store is even across the street, if you'd like that cocktail or glass of wine after a day of hiking, then walk to dinner! Didn't get a chance to try breakfast, our entry tickets to Arches were at 7am so we used out microwave for our oatmeal, etc. We were very happy with our stay.

Really enjoyed our stay, wonderful location in the heart of town makes for great evening walks. Very friendly and helpful staff. Standard full breakfast fare, but above average attentiveness from the staff made sure everything was well stocked, plus indoor and outdoor seating options.

nice simple accommodations, good breakfast buffet very simple, eggs, cereal, meat, breads and pastries. Room was comfortable and good size, very basic (not a negative). Good location in center of Moab.

Overall a good stay. There are elements of the facility that are a little worn considering you are paying for a Plus. The cool white interrogation bulbs in the room were off-putting. You can hear the neighbor television but not really bad. The room has dark shades which was great, but the facility is not bright outside the room. I do appreciate that.. Mattress was just OK. Great staff at breakfast, they were welcoming to everyone who walked in. Pretty standard offerings but it set us up great for a day if hiking. Eggs, sausage, potatoes, pancake machine, etc. Great parking well off the street but a great location, right in the middle of town. There is a second floor veranda that is not well put together. The other BW right up the street is well set up and cozy looking, you can see it from the street. I just wish this facility put a little more attention into a fully rounded experience. That is the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. Kinda picky but it is supposed to be a Plus.

I was tired and sick from a long travel. The staff was extremely accomodating and helpful. They made the place feel like my home even after I checked out. The place is conveniently located clean and well managed.

The staff at this hotel were very accommodating and helped me out when I was in a dire situation and the hotel next door had put me in a very bad situation. We were a couple of minutes late for breakfast the next day, but the hotel staff went out of their way to help us and provide us with breakfast

This was a nice motel and Moab is a great place to visit especially if you like to bike ride. It had all the usual BW amenities and breakfast. We used their laundry facility and it was nice and clean and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, the pool area including the hot tub was being power washed and there was lots of debri in and around the hot tub. Michele at the front desk was very nice and efficient. I would recommend this motel and stay there again.

What we liked: 1. Great location right in town near restaurants and shopping. There's even a walking/biking trail by a stream next to the hotel. 2. Good hot breakfast with friendly employees who seemed to enjoy their work. 3. Elevator. Yes, it looks like an old-fashioned drive-up motel, but they do have an elevator for going to the second floor with your suitcases. 4. Friendly front desk personnel who asked me how everything was and how I was doing. 5. Room was modern and well functioning. There was plenty of lighting. We liked the double shower head in the shower. The sink is outside of the bathroom, a plus. 6. Hot tub. Pool was still closed for the winter season, but I would think they will open soon. 7. Fitness room. Just in case you didn't get enough exercise at Arches and Canyonlands. Haha Tip: The Moab Diner, a very popular and busy place with reasonable prices and good food is practically next door to the hotel.

The hotel was in the heart of downtown, walking-distance from many restaurants and shops. Our room was clean and pretty, and there was plenty of room for three of us (including a desk, and two arm chairs). The hot tub was clean, comfortable, and reasonably spacious. Having breakfast included was a great time saver and value. The breakfast crew was friendly and welcoming, and they clearly took pride in their work. My only criticism: the pillows on the bed are very small. I recommend you bring your own!

This Inn has the cleanest rooms that smell so nice when you walk in. Super comfy beds and pillows. Front desk staff was very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Great location to all the shops on Main street in Moab. We've stayed here twice and will continue to stay here when we're in town. Only complaint is the microwave didn't work at full power and it took 5 minutes to warm up my coffee. LOVE this place!!!

Clean, friendly, enjoyable stay. Exceeded our expectations. We were on the road, decided to spend the night in Moab. They were quick to help us, made our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was much better than most we have experienced.

If offered any of the rooms with 800# run to any other lodging. These rooms are on the street and super noisy. Even with my ear plugs I still heard the truck and cars all night. It felt like I was sleeping on the stree. Also room 822 is not really a handicap assessible room. If you need this type of room DO NOT choose this hotel. The ice machine is clear across the parking lot. The staff and everything else was great and I suspect that any room off the main drag would be fine.

Stayed here in November as i was on my way to Denver from Monument Valley. I was automatically transferred from the Hotel Moab Downtown as they are closing for renovations. Checkin was seamless, efficient, they were expecting me and Kim at the desk was was helpful in smoothing the whole process. I asked for a corner room bottom floor which is what se put me in. Facilities were all top notch. The rooms look a little dated but not by much. The only gripe I would have is, like the Moab Downtown they have an ancient TV cable system. Analogue and not digital. Every station was snow and the stations available a waste of time. There is no point upgrading the TV's if the feed into the TV is 20 years old :) I used the TV for background noise only. Would stay there again. Great location. I did not take the free breakfast on offer and $89 for the night could not have been better.

We spent two nights here and really enjoyed our stay. The room was a bit dark and dated but it was very clean. There was no hot water at night so get up early to take a shower while it's still warm. The breakfast was terrible. At the first morning and the eggs had no flavor. The biscuits were hockey pucks and the gravy was barely edible. The second day we went to the Moab Diner next door. I recommend spending the extra and getting a decent meal. Overall though, I would stay there again as the bed was comfortable and we slept well and it was clean. I just wouldn't eat there or shower at night.

The hotel was very nice, perfect for a bunch of hikers on a National Park holiday. The rooms were clean. The complementary breakfast was very good, a wide variety to pick from and varied a bit from day to day. The shining star in our visit was Michele Garcia at the front desk. We had several last minute changes to our reservations that could have been frustrating. She was pleasant throughout the process and even followed up with a phone call to confirm the changes since her computers were down when we stopped by.

Great location for visiting Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. Superb service from desk to breakfast. Alex and Polo are amazing breakfast staff. Lovely walking path along stream next to property, and lots of restaurants within walking distance. Website doesn't mention it, but room had microwave.

The location of this hotel was perfect because it is in the middle of downtown. It was easy to walk to local restaurants and shops in the area. The Moab information center was less than a five-minute walk, which is helpful if you need extra information about the area. My room was clean and had a coffee maker in it. My favorite part of my experience at this hotel was the people. Everyone greeted me with a smile, whether it was the front desk, cleaning staff, or the chef at breakfast. I got a genuine vibe from everyone, and I felt as though I was family and welcomed. Michelle, who works during the day at the front desk, was my favorite. She was helpful when I asked about local shops and took the time to get more supplies for my room. Overall, I had a lovely experience and if you want to be surrounded by great people during your stay in Moab, stay at the Best Western Plus Greenwell Inn!

Second town on our tour of Utah's Mighty 5 national parks where there were two Best Western Plusses within a couple blocks of each other. Inevitably, I always wonder if the one we couldn't get a booking in was better than the one that had a room for us! BWP Greenwell Inn is perfectly fine: nice room, good breakfast buffet, close to restaurants, etc. (Best Western Plus Canyonlands Inn is just up the street.) But there was a glitch: the door to our room didn't lock, which we discovered on Day 2 of a three-day stay! Well, it WOULD lock -- if you were very persistent and kept opening and closing the door until the lock finally caught. Mentioned the problem, but of course these things take time to fix and we were heading home before that happened.

We stayed here two nights while we went to the national parks. The place is a little expensive, but since this is Moab, all of the places are expensive. The rooms were nice size, clean and in good repair. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was informative, friendly and helpful. They served a "standard" Best Western breakfast. No grab and go. The breakfast was nice and the breakfast room was very nice. They also had an overflow area for eating that was actually nicer than the breakfast room. This is more of an old style hotel with outside access to each room. They have done a good job in the modernization and upgrades. We would definitely stay here again.

Booked last minute using a third party app. I was pleasantly surprised to find this gem in the heart of Moab. I highly recommend this location. I've been in the hospitality and travel industry for 15 yrs working in AAA 5 Star 4 Diamond properties in Scottsdale Arizona as well as a travel agent for a major cc issuer prior. The key to a great experience is customer service and "wowing" the guest by going above and beyond, treating them like family, not like a corporate robot and I believe this property gets that. I'm a strong believer in management offering perks for positive TA comments and hopefully this is the case. Guests can tell the difference between fake vs genuine kindness. The service was above and beyond for this property. The service was true 5 star in a 4 star environment. Names for GM to praise: Michelle, Front Desk Agent (check-in) Michelle used my name twice during check-in. She went above and beyond by offer suggestions for dining and was able to assign a room near elevator as she noticed mother is recovering from knee surgery. Aslo adjusted room location above handicap parking as we didn't want first floor due to noise above, but wanted to be close to vehicle as well. Michelle explained all amenities and hours. One suggestion would be to have a second name tag, one for jacket and one for blouse. Name tag was on jacket, but if taken off I wouldn't have known her name for review. Polo, Dining Room Attendant Polo was very is courteous and attentive to all guests needs. He kept the buffet area well stocked and was bussing tables promptly while greeting guests and pointing out location of items in a fast paced environment. He was moving around and cleaning the whole time we were there greeting all guests coming and going. Yulma, Housekeeping Yulma greeted me at departure as she was cleaning the room next door. I asked her a few questions and had at first thought it was Michelle from a distance. She laughed and had said she gets that alot and that they were friends. Room at check-in was clean and towels folded and beds made to military like perfection. Bathroom area and vanity area was clean and well stocked. Items were placed to geometric perfection. Kim, Front Desk Agent (check-out) Kim was genuinely friendly and used my name. We were in a rush and she was multitasking while taking in coming calls and dealing with other guest in the lobby.

What a great stay! This was one of the few hotels that still had the pool open at the end of October. All the staff was exceptionally friendly from Kim, the office manager, Alex and Polo with the breakfast service, Freddy who worked tirelessly to keep the falling leaves at bay, and all the room service staff. Everyone was quick with a smile and worked hard to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. Rooms were clean and large. Coffee was always hot and available. The location was perfect! We stayed for 3 nights and after another week of camping, returned for 3 more.

This was night 30 of a 35 night 10,000 mile road trip, Staying at the Greenwell Inn was the 17th night at a Best Western. The room was one of the smallest and the 2nd most expensive. The staff were polite and helpful.

Very nice hotel stay. Breakfast staff was to notch. We were a little disappointed that we received no room service while we went out visiting the parks, not that it mattered much to us but at the least our beds could have been made. To be fair the hotel was booked solid and they are probably dealing with a staffing shortage like so many businesses these days. Other than that, our rooms were clean and the grounds are well kept.

I usually don't write reviews on social media. But after my recent stay at this property I felt obliged to share my experience with anyone that might be even thinking of staying here. We are BW Diamond members and appreciate the recognition and the upgrades that come with the membership. This place is just an old, old motel that has had the lobby spruced up, a fountain placed in the entrance, and associated with the BW PLUS category of hotel. After this stay I wonder if the only reason it was in the PLUS category is that it ticked all the necessary boxes to get in to that category... ironing board and iron, refrigerator, coffee maker (which was filthy), breakfast offered, and nice reception area. The hotel rooms are laid out in the old style of an exterior walkway with the doors to the rooms off it. This resulted in one tiny window offering no privacy and most importantly NO light in the room. The lights were cheap Home Depot lights. The tub shower had a cheap double shower head and there was mold in the corners. The tub was discolored and there were dirty yellow drip stains on the ceiling (maybe from people smoking in the bathrooms because it was a non-smoking facility). Because it's an old motel the walls were rice-paper thin. Then to make the situation even more terrible, we didn't have hot water in our room for the first 2 days of our stay. We reported it each day and they said "it was fixed" but no hot water flowed in our taps. Finally on the 3rd day (after yet another call to the front desk) we had hot water and could shower. To add insult to injury they gave us a 25% discount for ONE night of our stay! I'd say that if it was cheap I got what I paid for but it wasn't priced that way. Since it was Moab and hotel rooms are always at a premium -- especially with COVID, there wasn't the option of checking out and in to a more acceptable option. This made us feel even more trapped. Our only solution was that we accelerated our park visits and left 2 days earlier than originally planned.

We stayed for two nights and rested well in the comfy beds. It was so nice to relax after spending full days in the parks. Everything was clean and furnishings were nice. We had trouble with the WiFi not working at first but we told the front desk and they noticed tech support who quickly got it working for us. It was mostly quiet but we did hear the guests in the room above us. The breakfast areas was a bit congested but the food was good and well attended by the staff. We would recommend this hotel to others.

This hotel was just perfect for us. Close to the parks. Beds slept well. Clean rooms. Most outstanding were the two gentlemen helping with breakfast. Helpful, friendly, keeping the place spotless. Would recommend

This is a nice motel. The breakfast personnel are stellar. Most things are nice. My feedback is that the floor and bathroom tiles and tub floor could use a serious cleaning. Overall, I was happy with the room, just noticed a need for better attention to detail on cleaning.

We had the deluxe cabin which meant we had a master bedroom with mini fridge and microwave with attached bathroom. Connected with a separate entrance were two bedrooms, a full kitchen and bathroom. It was the biggest bargain of our 7 night vacation! and the best set up of beds and bathrooms for our adult children traveling with us!

Great location. Close to the National Parks, shopping, and great restaurants. Very clean, with wonderful decor inside the public areas as well as the room. Great WiFi connection Definitely would return.

This was the nicest Best Western I stayed in while in Utah- both from accommodations to the amazing hospitality of the hotel staff. We needed an early check in 1 day for a work call and the completely accommodated us and made sure when we arrived we would have wifi and access to a room. 100% staying here again!

I had a great & comfortable stay, even if it was only for 1 night. We were greeted by a friendly employee who got us checked in & provided good info on the area and the facilities. Close to restaurants & shopping. My mom grabbed a good breakfast that was offered. Want to give a shout out to the dual shower head in our room as it felt like I got a scalp massage after a long hot day of driving and lots of traveling. I know it was Speakman brand but can't find it online to buy one for my own shower :( . Next, the bed felt like I was engulfed in a personal cloud pillow and had the best night sleep of my whole trip. Will definitely stay here again for a longer trip to Moab.

The hotel staff greeted us with very kind greetings. The breakfast was very good. It is close to town so it is a nice location for walking the town of Moab. We stayed 2 nights and then moved onto monument valley. We decided to return and stay once again at this lovely clean hotel.

The rooms were recently upgraded when COVID hit, and we were impressed with how they looked. The pool is great. The staff was on the ball and super friendly. Definitely a place to spend a day or two when in Moab.

We checked in to hotel to discover bugs were crawling in through the door. We told the front desk clerk and she shrugged it off. Then we went to the front desk and were told we could possibly get a discount but that was it. No offer for a new room. We went to a late dinner and gotback to the hotel late and the room was infestedwithbugs. They covered the bed, the walls, the bathroom and the floor. It was too late to contact anyone and we were not able to sleep because ofthe bugs. The next morning we went to thefront desk and cancelled the next night and requested a full refund. They had to contact the manager and would get back to me. I did not recieve a call so I had to call them several times before I finally talked to the manager who denied my refund. I would not recommend staying there. The linens ere stained and a build up of trash outside the rooms, that looked like the trash had been there several days.

Location of the hotel is great, but the hotel is old and feels old. Someone previous had dropped food that was still there, and we found bugs on one of the beds after we'd slept in it. The front desk clerk was nice and extremely helpful, but the hotel itself is not one I'd ever stay in again.

There was a great selection of food and drinks. The hotel made it very convenient to take food back to the room by providing to go bags. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The gym had a good selection. Laundry was affordable compared to other hotels we've stayed at. The pool had good towels for pool use, plenty of shaded seating, nice scenery and was enjoyable for the entire family.

We stayed here on our road trip through the Mighty 5 National Parks. The rooms were clean and the staff helpful and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and activities. The Best Western Plus Greenwell Inn is conveniently located close to downtown shopping and many wonderful restaurants. We were not able to enjoy their typical breakfast due to Covid-19 restrictions, but they did offer breakfast to go. We spent some time at the pool which was extremely inviting after spending the mornings hiking in Arches National Park. The outside of the facility and the pool area could use some updating, but the rooms were wonderful and we were pleased with our stay.

Great location. On the Main Street, close to everything you need. Nice, clean and spacious room. We stayed 5 nights. Everything was perfect. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was good. I really recommend this hotel!

Great little hotel. Quick check in . Right in the heart of Moab but it's not the closest motel to the national parks. Easy walk to restaurants and shops except when it's 104 outside then you don't want to leave your room at all until the sun goes down. Breakfast is to go as they're having a tough time finding staff . This is the most expensive motel we stayed at out of the 5 places we chose but the bed was really comfortable and made it easier for us to sleep, rest and recover from all the hiking we did. The room felt much classier too. We chose a first floor room and yes you can hear the people above you. Nice pool but too hot to consider using. Nice laundry facilities and definitely ample parking and you do feel quite safe. Other than the bed being awesome the best part we're the trees that helped shade your vehicle as Moab really is boiling hot in the Summer. Nice cold fridge and microwave - we ate microwave food one night due to the ridiculous heat.

Great place to stay and is close to downtown to walk to the shops and restaurants. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious and the front desk staff was kind and helpful, answering our questions. The beds were comfy and it was safe to stay there. Breakfast was good as well. Would stay here again.

We have stayed here before it's not awful, but not fab either. There are several newer places in town. The rooms on the main floor can be noisy from guests above. Breakfast this time is very minimal. The good part about it's centrally located and you can walk to the middle of town in a minute . Moderately priced.

It was an amazing experience staying at this Hotel . Although I arrived late almost midnight, Angela went above and beyond in making sure I settled in properly and get all the help I needed. The nicest most helpful young woman checked us in on Tuesday. There was a mix up in our reservation and we needed an extra day and were told we might have to move. We were told later that we did not have to move but Friday morning a young woman called us and told us we had to move. We agreed. The cleaning staff was to clean our room first. Then the nasty young woman at the desk told me by noon and to leave our things by the door if we were not in. I had said we were not going to waste a vacation day waiting to move and had no intention of leaving our several thousand dollars worth of computers in our room for staff to move. She said she did not like my attitude, got ugly with me, and refused to give me her name. Otherwise, we love this place. I know it is hard to get help right now but I heard the young woman talking to a customer on the phone and she was not particularly polite to them!

Excellent location, right in the middle of town. The pool and hot tub were nice to enjoy. Parking was easy. The rooms were super dark, dated & run down. But, they were clean. Helpful staff. If you just need a place to crash, this works. If you want to enjoy your room, I can't recommend it.

Our stay here started off with a bang. We hit a deer in our rental car and it caused major damage as we passed Dead Horse Point on the way in to Moab. After more drama and delay than usual, our party of three was transported to Best Western Plus Greenwell Inn by a very kind BLM Ranger, and an equally kind Utah State Patrol Officer. The following day we found ourselves without a car in Moab. The Greenwell Inn provided a wonderful respite to our frayed nerves. The room was unexpectedly spacious and the staff members were very kind. I think this was the largest room we had on our Utah trip. The updates here had to be fairly recent, and I didn't mind the outdoor corridor entrance at all. Ice was down the long corridor, but not really a big deal. Landscaping was mature. Here are the things I really loved about Best Western Plus Green well Inn: • Common spaces were delightful. Big nice lobby with common rooms done to a nice standard, dining room with outside tables, gorgeous pool with red rock views, and a second floor outside patio with Red Rock views. Nice workout room adjacent to pool. • The City Park next door with a paved path along a lovely creek that really gives you the sense of being in an oasis in the middle of the desert. • Smokers have a very segregated place behind the pool house with a bench to sit on. Non-smokers would have to go way out of their way to be offended. • Breakfast was continental in COVID times, but way better than most. You can get decent coffee in the room, and very good coffee in the lobby most any time of the day. That packaged toasted cinnamon crusted Belgian waffle is better than any that I have had from a waffle iron. Boiled eggs, yogurt, energy bars, muffins, pastries, and many fruit choices should satisfy all but the pickiest. • The wonderfully clean pool was a common place where we met interesting people. The hot tub was warm and the pool was just warm enough to be cooling. • The location was great. We could walk to anywhere in downtown Moab from here. When I hopefully return to Moab, staying here is a no-brainer for me.

Nice sized room was clean and well stocked. The hotel grounds were nice and the pool area was OK. The location right downtown was very well situated. The breakfast bar area had a nice variety of pre-packaged breakfast options and was orderly and clean. The lobby area was very pleasant.

This hotel is at a great location. Right in the heart of Moab! Everything in walking distance. It's been slightly renovated with updated bed linings, furniture, etc., but not bad. We had a room in the back and it was quiet. This place had OK breakfast ( not the greatest) but looked like it could have potential for better soon? The staff was friendly and rooms clean. Really not a bad place to stay at!

This place is at a great location. Right on main street and you can easily walk to most shops and places to eat. Moab even has a free outdoor (backyard) music events, which are only a block away. This place is older with outside doors but has been updated and is clean. Breakfast was a "grab and go" due to COVID and room service was only upon request. Price was on par with others but location was great.

Staff were welcoming. Rooms were clean, beds were nice. No room service due to COVID. Be aware that the rooms have outside doors more like a motel if that makes a difference. Within walking distance to restaurants which is nice after a long day in the park. Rooms are pricey, but I think they are consistent with other places.

Although this hotel is convenient, and the room was comfortable, I thought it overpriced (over $200 a night). We were told when checking in, in a brusque manner, that if we wanted our room cleaned we had to tell them before 9 a.m. (Other hotels said they were not allowed to clean the room during our stay - what really IS the truth?). The "grab and go" breakfast was pathetic - prepackaged muffins, no bread, no hot food - they are using Covid as an excuse for reducing amenities but not the price.

We stayed here two nights. It is about 8 minutes from Arches entrance. The hot tub and pool were warm. The room was updated with comfortable beds, fluffy towels, and a wonderful shower. Our room was clean and quiet. The included breakfast is a COVID type of grab and go. What makes breakfast is Alex - a very friendly and energetic young man who greats each guest and makes you feel like the most important guests. Made me smile both mornings. The hotel is very conveniently located by many restaurants - all an easy stroll down main street. My wife and I would stay here again next time we are in the area.

The staff here was very friendly and helpful which always makes a huge difference in my experience of a place. The rooms were simple but clean, with plenty of towels and pillows. It's located perfectly in the middle of town so once we were at the hotel we never didn't need the car. Parking is right outside the rooms, so very easy. Breakfast was grab and go which worked out great for us since we like to get out early and hit the trails. They have yogurt and dry cereal and bars, among other items. Coffee is available in the lobby and it's actually good. I'd definitely stay here again.

The hotel was clean, and the staff was very friendly. Perfect location for downtown Moab, puts you right in the middle of everything. I would come to this place again, and I would recommend this hotel to friends.

If you are the type of person who likes to stroll around small town streets, browse around shops, and find local restaurants, this is a great place for you. This is one of the things I like about this hotel. Other things we liked: 1. Comfy bed 2. Thick towels 3. Double shower spray 4. Decor 5. Hot tub and heated pool 6. Breakfast, although not a hot breakfast (protein source is cold, hard-boiled eggs). Although this place looks like a motor inn, it does have an elevator for getting your heavy bags upstairs.

This location was high quality from the staff's service, the exterior, the town to the room itself my husband & i were extremely pleased! Our other family members chose to stay at another hotel down the road, La Quinta & it was fine but they wished they booked our hotel. The staff there wasn't as above & beyond, the rooms were subpar. We will only be staying at this hotel when we return!

Very nice place. Very well located. Fast check in and the receptionist was helpful with a gift card issue. Plenty of parking and was able to park close to the room which is always nice. Covid-19 breakfasts are only going to be so good.

Very clean and a nice place to stay. Only complaint was there was not hot water in the bathroom. It was luke warm at best, and not even enough to completely fill the tub or take a shower. The front staff was cordial, not over-friendly. Great location -within walking distance to downtown shopping.

We usually prefer VRBO so we were not sure about this choice but everything about our stay was excellent. The room was clean and had great storage so we could feel organized for the week. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked with safe, nutritious items. We even had a mountain view from our room. I would definitely recommend this Best Western!

This motel is very nice in most ways, staff is nice, and it's in a very nice town. The price was quite reasonable for the quality level. They were pretty busy which meant the hot water and wi-fi weren't quite ideal, but the overall experience was good.

Kim, the front desk manager, was very patient with me and got me a wonderful rate, being a BW Rewards member, and the room I requested. My mistake was I asked for a room opening onto Main Street. The room was clean, large, well-appointed, but noisy. So, if you don't care about traffic noise, no problem. Would recommend a room further back. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. Will stay again, but in a room in the back of the property....not facing the street.

Great view for top balcony, right in town, quiet rooms, a touch of luxury. Cheerful service above and beyond. Housekeeping goes to the extreme: the varnish is being rubbed off the wood desk. They actually took my bags from me and carried them up the outdoor stair case. Note: Stairs are safely outdoor, and so are the entrances. I like BW 24 hr cancellation policy because I can be sure other guests are there because the want to be not because they couldn't cancel....

We stayed here for couple of nights, and we were happy with our stay. The breakfast choices were pretty good (better to other chains), the only issue was the room itself - it was clean but showing the age (could use a bit of a renovation). Overall, it's a great choice in Moab!

We stayed here at the Best Western Plus due to ratings and well, cost. Pros are friendly, hard working staff, location, and if you can say price, the price. For a Best Western, the price does not match most BW's. Where the ratings drop, come from the cleanliness. We saw how hard this older Hispanic man was seen cleaning rooms the day we arrived. It seemed as if he was the only one. We ran around Arches National Park and came back to see the parking lot full. Great sign. When we walked into our room, we were met with stains on the bed spreads, peeling paint, and a wet floor. For the price we are paying, almost $200... we've stayed in other hotels with higher ratings for less. Where we think the staff was exceptional, especially the blonde at the front desk who checked us in, the room expectations were very subpar. This room happened to be #106. Side note, if you're looking for amazing Indian food, Indo Grill right next door was EXCEPTIONAL. Beautifully decorated and delicious food!!!

Clean rooms, good location in town. Really can't complain about too much except the price. Grab and go breakfast in the morning due to Covid. Very close to the Arches. The parking lot seems to fill up by about 8 o'clock. Easy to just leave your car there, and walk up and down main street.

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western in Moab. I loved the central location and could easily walk to many restaurants and shops. We trailered a UTV and there was ample parking for our trailer. The hotel was super clean. The heated pool was very nice.

Very Central. You could walk to shops and dinning. Room had a fridge and microwave. The beds were comfortable and the room was big. The Grab and go breakfast was greatly appreciated. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The Greenwell Inn was a perfect location in the middle of town for walking distance to dining and area attractions. The hotel staff were friendly and tried their best to serve guest with respect. Hope the hotel owner puts some money in replacing the hot water boilers!!

We stayed at Best Western Plus Greenwell Inn after a visit to Colorado. The room was exceptional. They were spacious with comfortable beds and easy access. We loved the convenience of walking to the shops and restaurants on Main Street in Moab. We would definitely stay here again. Clean and Comfortable.

We only stayed one night but the staff and our room were nice. The room was large and had a refrigerator and microwave. We had a first floor room and even though the hotel was completely booked, our room was quiet. Easy walk to many restaurants and shops. The upstairs patio was nice to sit down and people watch. Breakfast had a lot of variety given Covid--much more variety than the regular "grab-n-go" bags provided by other hotels. We had a choice of muffins, cereal, fruit, cereal bars, yogurt, juice, milk, coffee and teas.

When we entered, we saw an attractive and elegant lobby. We were checked in quickly. After we checked in, we walked past the pool and hot tub. It was a fairly large pool. My husband used it and said the pool was a comfortable temperature. I would not go in because there was no shade. There is a shady spot where you can sit beside the pool. We did not use the hot tub. Our room was located in the corner of the building next to a small, shady patio. The room itself had beautiful decor. We enjoyed eating at the Moab Diner next to the hotel. We had a delicious fried chicken salad there. The location was quite walkable, with great sidewalks bordered by souvenir shops. We were impressed with breakfast. We've done a lot of traveling this month and have given this particular inn a high mark for the variety of foods. Some places we've been to have only given us a bottle of water, a muffin, and a granola bar in a “grab and go” bag. We were quite happy we stayed at this Best Western and would return while in the area.

My wife and I stayed here 2 nights in June while visitng Arches NP. Very clean and comfortable room. Staff was friendly and helpful. Miss the hot breakfast because of CV19 but bag breakfast was OK. Would definitely stay here again when in Moab.

Even by Covid-19 standards, the breakfast here is horrible. The worst of any hotel I've seen so far (and I've stayed at a lot of recently!). Even worse, the manager of this location is borderline unstable. I reported that my fridge was so cold it had frozen all my food and expected a simple apology and a maintenance person, and instead the manager went nuts and started yelling at me! It was bizarre. I was totally taken aback. Anyways, she's a little unstable. But the hotel itself is okay - nothing special but good location.

I started staying at Best Western Hotels about a year ago. I have stayed easily over 10 nights in the past 12 months and so far I have not been disappointed. they're clean, comfortable, and great valued.

I am a Diamond Select rewards member, so I stay at a lot of Best Western properties. The Best Western Plus Greenwell Inn is located on Main Street with some of the best restaurants in town within walking distance. The facility was very nice, lots of parking, and a nice outdoor pool and hottub area set back on the property. I will stay there again, the next time I come to Moab.

I love to stay at Best Western hotels because of their friendly service, clean rooms and comfortable beds and this hotel didn't disappoint. Everything was perfect. I have one small complaint, the towels were a bit scratchy, other than that it was the great quality experience you come to expect from Best Western.

This motel is within walking distance to places to eat, shop and book some great tours. Moab Cowboy is a must do. The motel room was clean and comfortable. AC worked great! Pool is small but fun. Good size fridge in room.

Rooms comfortable, clean, good wifi, tv ok, friendly desk staff. Easy access , lots of restaurant nearby, reasonable drive to arches park, breakfast staff outstanding and super friendly, and food was great for free. Value great in off season, i was there in February.

Our double queen room was spacious and well appointed and the location was great. There were TWO luggage racks -thank you! - for two travellers. A desk plus a seating area was very comfortable. But we started our days with a big smile because of the awesome breakfast room team. Good staff makes all the difference in a competitive market and these two gentlemen were very efficient, very approachable and very friendly. The entire inn displayed pride in workmanship from all of the staff members we encountered but the breakfast guys were outstanding! A rare 5 from me. Thank you!!!!

We were in Moab for a weekend to attend a funeral. When we arrived I was surprised to see the rooms all entered from the outside. But once we got to our room,(which she was very happy to put us on the bottom ground), the room was very nice. The beds were comfortable. The free breakfast was very nice, with a nice variety. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay again.

The rooms where nice but the breakfast was the bets..!! Very Good service, the cooker was super nice., everything was very clean, is feel good to find a good service and clean you feels comfortable and happy to eat and stay there.!!

You can't stay in a more central location in Moab. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. We were sad to see that the pool was closed for the season, though the hot tub was still available.

Moab is the gateway to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, and this is reflected in the hotels which are very expensive and don't have to try very hard. Rooms and breakfast are adequate but poor value.

The view from the hotel balcony at sunset is the best of Moab, and Moab is the place to be. The rooms are cozy while efficient, as in clean floors with no questionable carpets. Beds are sleep inducing and refreshing after a days hiking the arches. The lobby is elegant and welcoming, cozy and home like. Breakfast, yes, they have it early and plenty.

This place is pretty much your typical motel. Slightly dated, the outside is yellow and there is a vast amount of rooms. I had a bottom floor and I could hear the creaks and stomps of the elephants above me. The breakfast was hell for anyone trying to avoid sugar or carbohydrates. But to its credit there were two showerheads and the room was clean and tidy. Quite comfortable.

This hotel is in a great location. Close to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. Breakfast is included and there was a great selection of breakfast items. Room was a good size. Laundromat is in the hotel. Exercise room is great. The hotel was quiet at night. Lots of parking.

This Best Western is very convenient to Arches National Park with grocery stores and lots of restaurants nearby. Very clean, large rooms. Jacuzzi was nice after a long hike. It's an excellent value for couples or families.

Stayed at BW Moab on 11/5/2019. One of the best hotels in the area, centrally located, the price was excellent and the breakfast was tops. The staff was excellent and the facilities clean. The rooms were very clean, modern.

Great downtown location in Moab And a nice breakfast. The rooms were extremely large and the beds were comfortable. The front desk was cheerful and helpful. I have stayed at this hotel before and I will certainly stay at this hotel again in the future

Had problems with room light, that the stuff from reception could not solve (later I found that the power cord was not connected! Simple problem.) For your breakfast you have to eat from cardboard plates, use plastic "cuttlery" and plastic cups. Having finished you have a heap of trash which you throw away in a big thrash bin. For a European this is a rather disgusting way to eat. No hotel in Europe would dare to offer a breakfast on this stuff and burden our environment!

Very good hotel on the main street, in the heart of Moab. Ample parking. Shopping, dining, and drinking all within a few blocks. Rooms are spacious and clean. The location is perfect, rooms are away from the busy Main Street. Pool area is nice, all amenities are too. Staff is super friendly. Standard breakfast - always kept immaculate by staff member Polo who was a joy to see every morning. All staff members were super-friendly. Front desk was helpful. Can't ask for anything more. If I go back to Moab, this will be my place to stay.

Travelled through Moab on a busy weekend (maybe all weekends are busy?). Could only get one night at this hotel but a comfortable stay. Quiet rooms with windows that will open. Who wants to run a/c all night.

This rating is not indicative of the quality of the staff or location of this Moab motel. The staff was wonderful and the location was perfectly suited for walks to great restaurants and proximity to Arches National Park! My issue is with the independent owner of this property that has allowed this motel to to grow old and and worn. Not sure when it was last updated, but it is due for an upgrade, especially considering the rates the charge. There are many of new hotels and motels on the Main Street that are much more competitive in rates.

Great Rooms and very nice presentation. Nice looking property, extremely helpful front desk. Everyone We came in contact with from the Inn seamed happy as if they really liked their jobs. Comfortable clean and up to date rooms and with a great staff. Moab Ut. is a fairly expensive area for rooms. Greenwell Inn prices are competitive with area. My favorite part is, you can park your car within 10 foot of your room door. Thanks for a good time.

Staying at this Best Western was wonderful. It put us in walking distance of the downtown shopping and eating area. It was clean, courteous , and down home friendly. Really enjoyed our stay there. There are two Best Westerns in town. I feel we made the right pick.

Very centrally located for walking downtown to shops and restaurants. Plentiful, free parking. Great pool area, gym and laundry facility. Beautiful, roomy lobby, great breakfast options and clean, spacious rooms with sink separate from tub/toilet area.

The greenwell in has always been a go to place for me when traveling in the moab area. Friendly staff, comfortable amenities, and a killer location, i will be sure to stay there again in the future, and you should consider it too

I stayed here two nights and felt obligated to write a review because aside from a great location and generally good quality, the room I was in was noisy. I was on the first floor away from the road. I could hear people walking upstairs, people talking outside my door, when the water turned on someone else's room (through the pipes), and other people's alarm clocks. The air conditioning fan is also a bit loud, and the cycling on and off can be disturbing. I turned it off the second night and slept a little better. If noise is not an issue for you, the room was clean and well-designed. The exterior is attractive. They have tea, coffee, and hot chocolate available all the time in the office, and the breakfast has several hot and cold options, including eggs, make-your-own pancakes, oatmeal, muffins, yogurt, and basic fruit.

We picked this hotel even though it is pricey (seems they are all pricey in the Moab area) because of its central location in downtdown Moab. It is very conveniently located so that you can walk to many restaurants and shops. The hotel has a large, attractive fountain out front. You enter a large, nicely decorated lobby with several comfortable sitting chairs. Another room off from the lobby has several tables and chairs for guests to use. The staff was very responsive and friendly. Our room was large, clean and comfortable with two queen beds. There were hardwood floors with wood trim around the room both at the top and bottom. We had a nice desk with a banker's lamp and two comfortable chairs. The refrigerator, microwave and two large drawers were concealed in a nice looking wooden cabinet. The bathroom area was small but clean. The room with the tub/shower and toilet was especially small. I did like the large ornate mirror over the sink. Sink area had good lighting. More counter space at the sink would have been nice. We had large, fluffy towels and washcloths. The hotel has a large breakfast room with a number of tables and chairs. You also have the option to sit on the patio that is right off the breakfast area. They offer a good selection of hot and cold items. Their breakfast ends at 9:30 A.M. where many hotels go to 10:00 A.M. We very much enjoyed our two night stay.

This hotel had a great exterior when we arrived and when we entered the room it was beautiful. The hotel front desk checked us in quick. The breakfast was outstanding especially the breakfast sandwich making section.

The room we were assigned was located over the lobby on the main street. It sounded as if a window was left open and with tractor trailers passing by all night it was nearly impossible to sleep. Even the a/c didn't drown out the noise. When I complained at check out the clerk said I should have seen that is would be noisy based on the web site. She also stated that "the bathroom was larger than normal" which doesn't help if you can't sleep. Breakfast was mediocre with rubbery eggs and pancakes. Can't judge other rooms own the site but I was extremely disappointed based on the overall cost even after a slight adjustment for the noise.,

The staff at this Best Western is amazingly helpful and friendly. When we wanted to remove our bike rack so we could do a 4x drive, they let us store it in the office. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast had a lot of variety. The breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a laundry facility right next to the pool which came in very handy. Would definitely stay here again.

Doesn't matter what Best Western I go to they always seem to be spot on. From the service to the condition of the facility they know what they are doing. The breakfast is worth it by itself. Keep up the good work

The front desk staff was very helpful in offering dining options which were very good. Also, the front desk staff was kind enough to offer to freeze my water bottles for my cooler since the room refrigerator did not have a freezer section.The hotel was conveniently located within walking distance to various restaurants & shops.

Not the Ritz, but a nice clean room with all the amenities you need. Located right off the main drag in Moab, restaurants and shopping are all pretty close. Ample parking. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast with an outdoor seating area. Highlight: watching a mother antelope and her yearling cross the street as I ate breakfast the second morning I was there. My room in the back of the parking area was nice and quiet. Although I didn't use the pool/spa area, plenty of people were which was no doubt prompted by temperatures of 100+ degrees. I will say however that the pool area is a bit small, especially for the size of the motel. All in all though, this was a nice place to stay during my visit to the area.

We stayed here for 2 nights in August. For the price we paid I expect housekeeping, especially as the weather was so hot , so showering more. I was told that housekeeping had gone home, and sometimes this happens when you are short staffed! The reception staff were not interested in the slightest! The room was dingy, and more like a motel. My Name is Earl springs to mind!!!! If you are staying in Moab, give this one a miss.

This is our second time at this hotel. Really clean. Comfy beds and a great hot cooked breakfast in the morning. Staff very friendly and helpful. Plenty of places to eat nearby and easy to get to the national parks.

This was a disappointing 2 night stay. The air conditioner did not seem to work properly as the room always smelled like mildew and felt humid. The sheets did not look like they had been changed when we arrived and had hair and dirt on them. The road noise is unusually loud inside the rooms. Hotel was very expensive for a Best Western. We had stayed in another Best Western Plus immediately before this stay in Springfield UT by Zion National Park. That hotel was immaculate and cost less per day than this hotel. Overall this is a poor value.

Great place to stay, close to everything. Walking distance to shops and places to eat. Excellent breakfast every morning! Nice pool exercise equipment to work out if you want! Overall just a really nice place to stay!

This is a nice Best Western Plus hotel in the heart of Moab. Really appreciated the fact that we could walk to the shops and restaurants from the hotel and not have to mess with the hassle of finding parking in town. Room was comfortable with good AC after long hot days in the parks. Included breakfast is awesome and both gentlemen attending to the breakfast buffet did an excellent job. Would definitely recommend this location for best bang for the buck in Moab.

This hotel is well situated in the middle of downtown Moab, close to everything. Clean rooms and very attentive staff. Easy in, easy out. We will stay here again if / when we visit Moab. I am continuing here because the system tells me my review has to be 200 characters. I do not count characters when I submit a review so I hope this becomes enough for this to find a way to the system. Silly requirement. Kind of a disappointing, unexpected end to a request for my opinion. Seem I should not have to be verbose to tell someone what I think.

I like that you can park near your room door! Room was ok but was pricer than I we usually stay at because the taxes in town are NUTS! Many places to eat but I'm not fond of paying $12-$15.00 for a burger. The ice machine is all the way at one of the end of the hotel. The breakfast is awesome. The man that helps clean up and refresh is really nice! A big variety. They have a pancake machine that I have never seen before. Great coffee and juice too!

Hey, maybe not the prettiest, but it isn't ugly. Well kept, clean, great rooms, beautiful art in the rooms, refrigerator, microwave, and great A/C. Front desk staff was courteous and efficient. Check in process easy and quick, they recognized me as an awards-club member. Fitness Center and pool clean. Laundry on premise. Helpful Hints: parking is plentiful. Downtown is right out the door. Many restaurants in short-walking distance. Biking/walking path nearby. I highly recommend this motel if you are staying in Moab, or just passing through.

The Greenwell Inn location was very nice. The rooms were updated and clean. The best part of the updated look was NO CARPET! It is a pet peeve of mine. I do not walk on hotel carpets without slippers. This was the vinyl flooring that looks like wood. Even the "rug" between the beds was indoor outdoor flat mat. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were pretty quiet. My only issue was the tub was very worn and looked like it was dirty even though it wasn't. The rest of the bathroom was in much better shape.

Moab is a trendy place whose location next to several stunningly beautiful national parks marks it as a place where one can expect to pay for available lodging. The Greenwell is not cheap but it provides a comfortable room and the breakfast is about the best around.

Hotels are costly in Moab. The BWP Greenwell has a nice outdoor pool & hot tub with the washers & dryers close by. Handy for enjoying the pool and doing laundry. The room (upstairs) was quiet but needs to be remodeled. I appreciated having the sink outside of the bathroom. We enjoyed the pancakes for breakfast and eating on the patio. Great service by Kim at the front desk and Polo in the breakfast area.

Very nice motel, we extended our stay as it was comfortable and a great location. the pool was small, but that seemed to be the way most of the pools were out West. We enjoyed it but the people that were in it with us may not have enjoyed it as much (9 & 12 year olds). Nice staff, good breakfast, we would stay there again.

Spent three nights at this hotel. Room was ok and big enough for two of us. Air condition machine was very noisy and disturbed our sleep. Breakfast was moderate, but I can not stop wondering why it is offered with plastic cutlery and cardboard plates. How much waste this is generating and how much mother earth resources is used. There was also a washing machine and it was a great help for us on our three week US National Park trip. Access to Arches and Canyonlands was good.

Guess all the hotels in Moab are now pretty pricey (IMO). Another BW that is like the old motels with doors opening up to the outside. Our room (#124) was just a basic room with 2 queens, and cost $217 (incl tax). When I had done a search for a room, that was pretty much most of what I found ($200 and higher). Didn't like the layout much either as it had the sink area opening into the bedroom, so if you are like us, one of us gets up lots earlier than the other, so it was tough to get ready in the morning without waking up the other. All they would need to do is add something like bi-fold doors between the sink and the BR. It is in a good location only a few miles from the entrances to Arches National Park. But it's on the busy main road through Moab.

We joined the Best Western reward program in 2018 and have tried to stay on these properties exclusively. They are always clean, well equipped and include breakfast. The rates are very reasonable also and they are usually in convenient locations.

our stay was very enjoyable. Although the property from the front and lobby are very updated compared to the rooms. We had a great problem with the gray moths flying in our room at all times. Not sure where they came from! The breakfast was over the top!

We stayed here two nights and it was very pleasant. The rooms were large and clean and comfortable. The breakfast was better than most "motel" breakfasts and the staff was very friendly. Close to many places to eat and drink.

We stayed here for 4 nights in June. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the lack of a convent elevator if you are given a room on the second level and it is far away from the only elevator in the lobby. There are convent stairs for the middle and far end of the building, but very difficult and time consuming if you have luggage to contend with. That said, all other aspects are great. Spacious, clean, very nicely updated rooms. Quiet, as the rooms are not facing busy Main St. The complimentary breakfast has choices for all tastes, and the selection of hot foods like potatoes, bacon, sausages rotates daily, along with typical hotel eggs, etc. Very nice and helpful staff, convenient parking, pool and spa. Will definitely return if in Moab.

Nice hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff, and what they call a continental breakfast. Best C Breakfast, with more choices, than I have partaken of. Spacious rooms, parking lot for travelers with trailers, located within a block of the center of town. Local pub within 500 feet. Patio both levels with an outdoor fireplace on the second level. Like I said this is our second stay, both for business, and am sure we will keep booking with the Greenwell as long as it is available for dates needed.

The floors are parque so you hear everything upstairs if you are on the bottom floor. They are dark inside. The breakfast help is over zealous; wont leave you alone. The lobby is nice and the location is excellent. The mattress was saggy and needs replaced.

The Greenwell is conveniently located on Main Street in Moab, within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. We followed previous reviewers advice and got a second floor room away from the street, which worked out very well. The staff were very friendly and offered good advice on restaurants in the area. They even let us keep our car parked there a couple of hours after we checked out, which we really appreciated. We'd definitely stay here again.

Great Service and wonderful accommodations. Check in was quick with plenty of room to park. Breakfast was very good with a variety of dishes to choose from. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about the Moab area.

The hotel is conveniently located in Moeb, Utah, with an easy drive to Arches National Park. The room was adequate, nothing fancy. Breakfast was also ordinary. For the price they charge, I'd expect more choices of breakfast items.

We arrived with being told our 4 night reservation, 2 rooms, had been cancelled which we had not done. The staff worked hard to find us accommodations there on a very busy weekend. First we were told we'd have to move several times to stay there. The manager and another desk clerk then stepped in and found us 2 rooms we could be in all 4 nights, one being an 'upgrade' because it had a balcony. The 'balcony' was a 5 inch extension from the window which faced the noisy main street of Moab over which the windows did not fully close. Needless to say, no sleep was had! Again the manager stepped in and found a different, quieter room which helped save our stay there. While the complimentary breakfast was included, it never varied, the scrambled eggs were hard and wasn't a plus for our rating. Still, the staff tried to be helpful, the location was awesome, the rooms clean, and the pool a lovely bonus!

We stayed in Moab for one night and would not choose this accommodation again. Our room was located on the ground floor and had only a small window. The worst part is that one can hear every sound from the room upstairs and, thus, we woke up at 4.30. Also, the breakfast did not convince us. For us, the price was too high for the rather low quality.

I have stayed in both Moab Best Western hotels on various mountain biking trips. I had the bad luck that this stay was during the very busy Easter Jeep week, which resulted in extremely high hotel prices compared to normal. Unfortunately I had already booked flights I could not change, so I recommend checking for events like this beforehand! The Best Western Greenwell is not quite as nice as the more modern Best Western Canyonlands on the opposite side of the street, however this is reflected in the price difference. I like the laminate floors instead of traditional carpet as I have a strong dust allergy. Note that sound insulation is marginal, so it is best to take a second level room as far back from the main road as possible.

The room was clean, if at all possible ask for a 2nd floor room because you can hear the footsteps from the rooms upstairs. There is plenty of parking but the room entrances are a little funky because there's a border wall that you have to walk around to get to your room even though it's motel style. The room was a good size, included a refrigerator and microwave! The bathroom was a little cramped but the sink is outside of the bathroom so you're not waiting on it. The breakfast was great! The usual warm food eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy was available then cold cereal, breads, coffee etc. Restaurant style with comfortable seating. I loved the pancake machine! At walking distance from everything in Moab!

This hotel was very clean and within walking distance to restaurants and shops. But it was at a ridiculous rate. Just because there was a lot going on in town they jacked the rates up! It was NOT worth the rate we paid for it!! Would only stay here again if they had a better price. AND that is why I'm not giving it a high rating.

The location was centeralized to resturants and shopping. This hotel had a great heated pool and fitness room. The breakfast was exceptional. Lots of option in food and sure to satisfy everyone. Would definately stay here again.

This is our second visit to this hotel. I choose BW because of the loyalty program and my rating is reflective of the 13 different BW hotels I've used in the last years. The location of this hotel within walking distance of shops and restaurants is its best feature. The room is clean, with a new double shower head. No bedside plugs for electronics. The price is higher than many BW but the Moab area parks are stunning and therefore popular. Yes we will return.

It was a bit of an awkward morning. We asked for a to go breakfast so we could see the sunrise at Arches. The breakfast to go is a fruit cup and water. Insufficient for a long morning at the park, so we came back for the real breakfast one it opened. Im glad we did. The two men running breakfast was great. Kind, hospitable, and the food was great. The room was fine, but you can hear every step in the room above. I recommend asking for the second floor.

This is one of those hotels that is just alright, nothing special about it. Rooms are ok, they look better in the pictures, but since we didn't spend much time in them, except to sleep, they are passable. The lightning was poor, most bulbs were the white LEDs which work fine in the bathroom area, but I think suck in the bedroom itself. The shower area was pretty dark and the toilet unbelievably small. The shower was split into 2 heads, so that made the shower enjoyable. The beds, I would say, are mediocre, not really comfortable. The included breakfast was poor, we thought including breakfast would be a plus for the convenience, but right next to the hotel there is a very cheap dinner with delicious food, and the whole Moab area has great places to eat, so it may be better to not have breakfast included with the room. The location of the hotel is a plus, it is in the middle of town, so you could walk to many places, at night this is great. We used the jaccuzzi once, it was very nice, but it was difficult to find a time where no one else would be using it. The pool looked fine, and it was usually empty by the time we got back to the hotel. The purchasing experience was subpar. When looking for hotels, we initially had the Hyat Place in mind, but when clicking on any of the first 3 offers that appeared in TripAdvisor, all returned that the hotel was completely booked. We then decided to go for the BestWestern Greenwell which was cheaper on a per-night basis, and were redirected to Priceline.com, their offer however was non-refundable and included over $120 of taxes and fees. We completed the purchase from them, but right after we tried the 4th offer for the Hyat Place, and it worked, we could not buy it anymore, since the Priceline offer was non-refundable, and even though the Hyat Place was more expensive on a per-night basis, it would have ended up cheaper due to lower taxes and fees. That is a knock to Priceline more than to the hotel itself, but it did not help the case of this BestWestern at all. All considered, we will not stay again in this hotel for several reasons; there are better hotels at similar prices, this hotel should not be charging more than $130 a night, we learned that the included breakfast is not a benefit in Moab.

My wife and I stayed here so we could visit nearby national parks. The breakfast choices were varied and made in house; breakfast staff were present at all times to offer suggestions and bus table.Front desk were friendly and answered all questions well. The room was well kept, clean and comfortable.

Have stayed here many times over the years, but this was definitely the worst. We had made our reservations well in advance, and asked for an upstairs room, but were then told none were available when we arrived. We got no sleep; it sounded like a herd of elephants were above us. There are plenty of choices now in Moab- pick another.

We stayed at this motel in February. When I first walked in the room I was disappointed that there was no carpet, although the tile flooring is beautiful. I soon realized that this was actually a great idea! Much easier to clean thoroughly in between guests and now I'm wondering why all motels don't do so. We didn't use the pool but the jacuzzi could have been very nice if it hadn't been full of obnoxious, local fence-jumping teenagers. The beds were comfy. The front desk clerk, Ashly, handled the teenager problem amazingly which made us feel like this establishment cares about it's guests. Breakfast was delicious!

Old hotel in need of minor maintenance overall a nice place to stay and a great value at $59 a night the hotel is in the center of town easy walking distance to everything and I highly recommend the moab cafe great service and good food

Great place in perfect location, friendly staff. The rooms were quiet and clean. Would have liked the option of having smart TV's in the room. The showers were pleasant with the two headed shower nozzles. The staff was super friendly and both checking in and out was a breeze. The breakfast setup is one of the better places I have ever seen with both indoor and outdoor options. The food was fresh with a great variety. Definitely would stay there again and would recommend it to others.

sleep quality was good the rooms were quiet and peaceful set back from the road. the breakfast was good with a choice of various hot foods and pancakes etc there was complimentary coffee the staff were friendly and helpful we stayed 6 nights and found the hotel was really well placed for retaurants and bars short drive to arches was a plus

Staff was very friendly, helping us join the rewards program for Best Western. Room was clean and adequately furnished. Close to eating and drinking places that are a short walk. Breakfast was provided and was tasty. Would go there again.

Very centrally located;you can walk everywhere from this location.Go to Rio Lounge if you are up for karaoke on a Thursday nite.The beds are super comfy and room is well stocked with anything you may need.

I returned to the Greenwell Inn for the first time in many years and found the renovations to the guest rooms appealing. I also loved being able to walk across the street with my wife to the ZAX restaurant from the hotel to have dinner. I will definitely stay here again.

Drinking cups were dipped in mud and hair dryer was sticky. There is no room service, so the guest has to take the items to the front office for replacement. Worst part of the room is the extremely noisy ceiling. Ask for a 2nd floor room or bring some ear plugs. Shower drains also were very slow draining, you'll be standing in 5 inches of water by the time you're done showering.

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Arches and Canyonlands NP. We were given a room on the first floor (my choice) way in the back. I didn't feel like carrying everything to the second floor so we decided to go with a first floor room. Big mistake! We could hear people walking above us for what seemed like most of the night. It continually woke us up. The room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable. This hotel is located in a very busy area of Moab. The street is crazy busy with traffic and a lot of trucks come through here, as I suspect it's also a truck route. It was busier than I would have preferred. The complimentary breakfast was excellent and everyone we came in contact with was very friendly. You can walk to shops and restaurants from here. I would probably stay here again should I be in the area.

We stayed here while visiting Arches and Canyonlands. Our room was in the back, second floor. Nice room, good breakfast included. Great recommendations for restaurants, too. We also used the pool for relaxing after hiking. Would stay here again!

My friends and I did a road trip to the National Parks in Utah. This was our first stop on our trip to the arches park. First off, this city was very interesting and quaint. Reminded me of Key West with all the quiche shops and things to explore with walking around and dining. The hotel is in a great place and the breakfasts which are included are a great way to fuel up before your day of hiking and exploring the parks. Service and very friendly staff make this a stop on any trip to the parks. Rooms were a little dated but brought me to a place of when people used to pack up the station wagon and explore America in the 50"s and 60"s. Very charming! Also to get there, turn of us70 and drive highway 128 to Moab. Very scenic!

we had i good clean room with a good view. we used the pool and hot tub. they are nice after a long day hiking. good breakfast also. I have stayed there 3 other time and am looking forward to going back.

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Arches and Canyonlands. We had a king bedroom on the first floor which was very spacious and comfortable. There were two luggage racks in the room (this is rare but actually quite nice), two cushioned chairs and even two shower heads for a super strong shower! The lobby area was very nice, and the breakfast area provided seating outside for street views of Moab, upstairs deck outside for mountain views or seating indoors with three TVs and plenty of window seating. For breakfast, they had lemonade and POG (passion orange guava juice) in addition to the traditional orange juice. They also had a variety of hot items and cold items (including cold ham and cheese) and an automatic pancake maker that was fun to use. The pool and hot tub area was also very enjoyable and relaxing. Location of the hotel was convenient to both national parks and within short walking and driving distances to restaurants. The front desk attendant was helpful in resolving a printer issue. Overall a very nice stay.

This BW is next to everything downtown. Most everything is withing walking distance. The staff is wonderful and the breakfast can be consumed in an outdoor area which is great for people and vehicle watching.

Good location in central Moab. Near to restaurants, shops, garages etc. Breakfast had the basic items and was sufficient. Cutlery and plates were plastic which I didn't like but this seemed to be the norm in the Motel places we stayed at in Utah.

Stayed here for 3 nights. After a hiccup on the first night room was changed without any problem or question, staff couldn't be more helpful. Room a good size with good sized fridge which was actually cold. Lovely double headed shower and nice towels (always a plus) albeit the bathroom a tad on the small side, but the sink and dressing area was large and separate. Two large beds which were very comfortable. Good location for visiting Canyonlands, Dead Horse Point and Arches. Busy town with lots of places to eat. Breakfast was buffet, do it yourself. Enough choice, down side was eating off paper plates with plastic knives and forks, I know this is for water saving purposes and all recyclable but just not right. It is just off the main road but quite honestly we were so tired at the end of the day we had no trouble traffics noise or falling asleep. Would recommend and would stay here again.

We stayed for 2 nights on a road trip in May 2018. The hotel was easy to find, check in was quick with lots of useful information shared with us. The room was nice, did what it needed to do. Was clean, had all the usual facilities... toiletries, hairdryer, tv, coffee maker, etc. In addition, The hotel provided free coffee, tea & water in reception area 24 hours a day. It is located on the Main Street of Moab, close to shops, bars and restaurants, and it is only a short drive to Arches National Park, which was truly stunning! Overall, would recommend staying here if you're visiting the area.

We arrived here without reservations and managed to snag 1 of 2 rooms left. Check in was great. Room was very good, except the air conditioner was not working. It was 110 F outside. Upon calling the desk, a maintenance man appeared and proceeded to find the problem. He had it fixed within 1/2 hr. A very nice person. Breakfast was very good the next morning. Recommend this establishment.

Some Best Westerns are just OK. Tbis ain't one of em.. I was on a trip to Arches National Park and this place was perfect. Beautiful grounds, really nice and very comfortable rooms.. a really nice pool and laundry and the place is kept up like new. It's right on the main strip. Right in town near all the restaurants, stores and only 7 minutes from Arches.. perfect when you want to get up and be there at sunrise. I'll be going to the park again in a couple of years and definitely planning on staying there again...

The Good: location is great, swimming pool is nice and the breakfast (+ space) is well. Rooms are a bit outdated but suffice. The Bad: Somehow they are not able to handle their finances. After paying for my room in full, the managed to charge my credit card twice more for the full amount (reservation). A small mistake, they admit. They aren't able to unlock the reservation, while the reception outright lies to you that they did. This was more than two weeks ago and it hasn't been solved yet. Disappointing.

This is a great place to stay. Prices are little high, but this is due to it being the market conditions in Moab. The town has a fun main street with lots of restaurants and the BW is directly across from one of the most popular eateries.

Check in was fine. Room was dirty and litteraly had bread crumbs and crust along side of my bed. Toilet seat was extremely loose and a lamp was broken. Bed was springy and uncomfortable and the pillows were less than ideal. Check in/out and breakfast were good but the room was overall terrible. Stay somewhere else.

First off, I want to say that the facility itself is nicely kept up and clean. The front reservation area is nice and inviting. The rooms were spacious and clean. Based on other reviews, we requested a room towards the back of the hotel, on the second floor. We had no issues with noise. My kids utilized the pool and that area was nice as well. The location in downtown Moab was great...we easily walk to dinner and shops. Staff welcoming and nice.... The two areas that caused me to really want to give this place 3 1/2*'s.....the breakfast and the pillows. The breakfast-. It was not good. The scrambled eggs were hard and tasteless and I have never experienced such bland and unappealing roasted breakfast potatoes in my entire life. I tried one and turned to my child and asked - who can mess up a potato? We all ended up just having cereal and yogurt. The hot breakfast was dissapointing. The self serve area needs a layout adjustment as well. It was hard to get around. I will say the outside seating area was lovely and a nice way to start the day. The pillows - thinking this may be a Best Western thing...the last two BW's I have stayed at have smallish square pillows. For anyone who is used to a rectangular one, it can be very uncomfortable and awkward to sleep with. Aside those two things, I would recommend staying here based on its cleanliness and the generous size of the rooms. The accomodations were nice.

Well located hotel. Good sized room and bed but the bed creaked so woke my wife when I got up during the night. Decor a bit drab with a patch repair to the ceiling. Inadequate power sockets so difficult to charge phones and iPads. Most annoying was hearing guests above us stomping around early in the morning. Surprised to see cardboard plates and plastic cutlery at breakfast. Overall adequate but uninspiring.

Spacious clean room. Comfy King bed with lots of pillows. Close to all restaurants. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was perfect, many options to choose. Easy in, easy out. Overall great. Would stay again. hotel.

Washer & dryer experience expensive and still didn't work well. Breakfast not kept stocked, get there early or you are limited. Staff not trained how to handle guest complaints. I overheard another guest complaining and the agent was telling the guest it must've been her fault and that housekeeping was gone and she was busy due to it being peak check-in period so can't go clean her room.

My wife and I were visiting Arches National Park. We found this place on Trip Advisor. It is a great find. I asked for an ADA room. It did not have a roll in shower but the tub shower had plenty of hand rails and a drop down shower bench. The beds were comfortable. My wife was pleased with the fridge and dressing room amenities. The lobby is decorated in a Victorian style very tastefully. The staff is very courteous and friendly. It is next to old town within walking distance of shops and restaurants.

I'm the latest on review of this hotel from our stay in June of last year. Everything I wrote about them is the same. EXCEPT we liked it so much we stayed 2 nights! We met up with friends here from home, together, we visited the Arches Park, enjoyed a picnic lunch in our room with them before they head out of town. Then my family went on a drive on some of the back roads. We then enjoyed the pool. Zax is a great place to eat AND received 10% off our meal ticket, from a coupon I got at the hotel. We walked and shopped and enjoyed some ice cream. OH breakfast was good, plenty of food to go around and enjoyed the new pancake machine they had! The shower head is double so that was nice. We slept great! We will definitely return!

We stayed here for two nights. The hotel was nice and the rooms were a nice size. My only complaint was how dark the rooms were. Better lighting is needed. The pool was very nice for the kids and not crowded at all. Loved the laundry facility. Breakfast was very good with lots of options.

We stayed here for one night as we were passing through the area to complete the Mighty 5. The hotel was great – it is fairly large with all rooms having an exterior door to the outside parking lot or balcony. The room was a bit on the small side for 4 people, but it did get the job done. I think the AC in our room was broken as it would kick on from low to high, and then just shut off. It did keep the room at an okay temperature, but without AC, we would have been sweltering. The breakfast in the morning was the standard hotel breakfast with pancakes, eggs, etc. Overall, we had a nice stay at this hotel.

We stayed at this Best Western when visiting Arches. Check-in was very easy and fast, and express check-out was given to us as an option. Our room was tucked away in a corner, so we didn't have much of a view. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The bathroom was a little small, but it was functional. Location was wonderful, and we were able to walk to some shops and restaurants. Breakfast was great with the standard hot and cold items.

Hotel has good sized rooms, nicely decorated, no view from room, very friendly staff, free breakfast, coffee, water etc available at reception at all times. Easy to walk to all local shops and diners and easy drive to Arches.

We just spent three nights at this property in Moab Utah. The rooms are updated and the lobby and breakfast area are first class. The staff were all so helpful and friendly. The pool area and fitness center were in a separate building and were clean and perfect for cooling off after a long hot day of hiking. Our room was very clean, up to date and perfect for our family of four. The property is centrally located on Moab's main street so you can easily walk for shopping and dining out. Great job.

As the title hints, I'm not sure where the plus comes in this pleasant but fairly standard BW. It does have a small pool and a water feature so perhaps that's it. Not BW's fault, but when we arrived the electricity had been turned off as there was a nearby building development going on - mercifully it was resolved in a couple of hours. The rooms are a good size. Ours was double queen with wooden floors and the usual, rather dreary, corporate décor. But the bathroom was way too small and in desperate need of some tlc so it was good that there was also separate sink area. The complementary breakfast was a nice touch.

Rooms were very nice and clean. They included a regular chair, ottoman and leisure chair which were very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel included a second level patio and interior sitting rooms. The hotel had a nice outdoor pool and hot tub. The hotel also had laundry facilities. The hotel was very quiet for being on the main street. The hotel was within walking distance of restaurants. The hotel had easy access to the parks. We enjoyed our stay.

All the beautiful scenery and we get to look at a wall. Questioning if I want to continue with the rewards program with this hotel chain. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. We used the pool which was very clean and very warm.

I booked this hotel fairly last minute since I hadn't had any luck finding anything in Moab proper when planning my trip for the past few months and this miraculously popped up with availability (I booked and then cancelled another hotel in Monticello). I haven't stayed in a Best Western in a very long time, and I have to say how pleasantly surprised I was by the chain's improvements! Every interaction with the staff prior to my stay was top notch, so I was hoping the actual room would be great...and it certainly was! The lobby and entry area was warm and inviting and the check in process was quick and friendly. Our room was upstairs (and the stairs were easy to maneuver - even with a bad knee and hauling luggage). To my delight, the room was HUGE! Super comfy bed, hardwood floors, fridge and microwave...what more could you ask for? They also provide complimentary breakfast, but we slept in and missed it (but also a nice amenity to provide). Loved this hotel and will stay again the next time I'm in Moab!

This is an affordable hotel right in downtown Moab. It is a comfortable, motel style property, in easy walking distance to restaurants. Great location to visit Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. The complimentary breakfast is basic, but served early enough to get out to the parks before the crowds and heat.

All I can say about Moab is WOW! This place is spectacular. The hotel itself is very good. The location to all things to do after a day of visiting the parks can't be beat. It is right across the road from everything you need. The staff are excellent. Each time we visited the front desk, we were greated with a smile. No exceptions. The hotel is an older hotel as mentioned in other reviews. We enjoyed that the rooms could be accessed from the outside which was easy for getting your luggage in and out of the car. The hotel is clean, the rooms are a good size and the linens are crisp. The bathroom and shower was a good size as well. The view from the pool area is excellent and the sun shines on the pool into the early evening which is great to relax there after a long day of sightseeing. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel as a budget-friendly alternative while visiting Moab.

Older building but adequate for visiting nearby national parks. I liked the fact that you could opt out of having your towels and sheets changed; that is a ridiculous waste of water. The next Best Western Plus at Bryce Canyon DID change our towels which upset me. Why the inconsistency? Breakfast was good. Had a great dinner at SingHa Thai restaurant a couple of blocks away. Much better than Szechuan next door to hotel.

We enjoyed our short stay at the Greenwell Inn. The staff was very helpful in suggesting places to eat and things to do. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast had a variety of items for everyone. The staff also suggested to plan to be in Arches Park before 9AM and we were glad we did as they suggested, as the park got really busy after 9AM.

This hotel like all hotels in Moab is expensive. It is an older hotel with outside corridors, this was a disappointment and our only negative. Hotel is showing its age but is in OK condition. Lobby is very nice and all the hotel staff were exceptional is there treatment of the guest, extremely helpful and friendly. Large parking lot and close to restaurant.

We stayed 3 nights here. We loved the location with shops and restaurants right next door. Our room was clean and comfortable. Shower was hot and powerful. The fridge was noisy at night so we had to unplug it. The breakfast was ok but I'd like to have seen more fruit on offer. They only had oranges. Also the buffet area wasn't big enough for how many people were staying. The reception staff were always polite and smiling. We did use the pool which was very clean and the spa pool was lovely and hot. This is a really nice hotel which I would recommend

The hotel is right in the middle of town within walking distance of everything. Our room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. The staff went out of their way to see if you needed any assistance.

We found this BW to be welcoming and helpful. The ladies at the front desk were friendly, helpful with our choice of room, the attractions in the area, dining in the area. We were only going to stay one night, but there was so much to see and do, so we ask on the day we were to check out if they could get us in for one more night. They said they could and we could stay in the room we were in, we did not have to move! The BW is downtown and easy walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Even though downtown, there was plenty of parking on site and getting in and out was not too bad. We have had some bad experiences with other hotel chains, so I only stay at Best Western hotels. We stayed at BW plus greenwell inn at Moab from 5/1/18 to 5/4/18 and from the time we walked felt welcome . I want to complement Jill, the front office receptionist who was outstanding and exemplary in offering us every help imaginable to make our stay enjoyable; she made reservations for us including boat trip which we were unaware of and offered dinner suggestions. We checked in with Kia and Loni who were very personable, funny and helpful. We received some coupons for local restaurants. The room was perfectly nice -- clean, spacious, comfy bed. The breakfast was more than standard Best Western fare and acceptable. The front desk lady who works during the week (can't remember her name) was very friendly. We had a couple of questions for her during our stay and she was quite helpful. The hot tub was not hot so we brought that to the attention of the front desk and Loni went out and addressed the problem immediately. Overall, we had a great experience and highly recommend this hotel.

Booked this hotel because of location and also that it was a Best Western. I was greeted with a Welcome and a smile by Lori. Check in was real easy. Room was nicely decorated and clean. When I asked front desk about places to eat, they were helpful in telling about different kinds of food that were best in which restuarant. I totally enjoyed my stay will stay there again if I go to see Arches again.

The WELCOME given, felt like, "Coming Home." Our room was sparkling clean and very roomy. Glorious two-headed shower; seperate from sink area. Beds, SUPERB. Our needs were abundantly met. Perfect location; walking distance to ZAX, which had the BEST "All you can eat" pizza buffet & Fetticini Alfredo with EXCELLENT Service. We so enjoyed our first night, we booked another night! Great breakfast choices, different from morning to the next. The staff are very Gracious. We highly recommend BW Plus Greenwell Inn!

Can't say enough about this hotel's location. Heart of the downtown area surrounded by all the restaurants and gift shops. Close enough for a quick drive to the parks and a comfortable bed at the day's end.

You couldn't get a more perfect location. Arches, Canyonlands, Dead Horse are all right there. You can easily walk to restaurants, shops, coffee, etc. The staff here is wonderful. Lonnie and Jill at the desk are so friendly and helpful. (If you book any kind of tour, reservation, etc, go through them. They can probably snag you a discount!) We had 2 queen sized beds which take up most of the floor space. ( Practicing yoga together took a little ingenuity ??.) But the beds are very, very, very comfortable. The rooms are very clean. Don't get me started on how great the double headed shower feels after a day of hiking. The place is easy to find, has a big parking lot, and did I mention the great staff? The included breakfast is standard stuff, but very hot and fresh. Good coffee too, all day. I would absolutely stay here again, and recommend it to anyone visiting Moab. Two suggestions: add a safe and recycling bins to the rooms. ( But I can't really preach about recycling when I was loving the double headed shower, can I?)

Friendly staff offered discounts for nearby restaurants. The hotel was in a good location (walking distance to restaurants and shops). Hot tub jets were weak and I got a rash from the hot tub but my husband did not. Late night hours (11 pm) for the pool and hot tub were nice. Breakfast was very good with lots of options.

- Check in easy, friendly front desk clerk. - One of the oldest motels in Moab. The front desk clerk told us when she arrived in Moab, at age 11, this was one of two motels in town. I suspect it was not always a Best Western Plus. - Rooms are accessed from the outside. A little inconvenient in that one had to go outside to reach the lobby. - Unusual feature was the hardwood floors (probably laminate or luxury vinyl). We were on the second floor and I imagine those on the first floor would hear our footsteps. - The floor transition molding from living room to bathroom was insecure and was a tripping hazard. Was fixed the next morning. Housekeeping should have noted this to management. - Breakfast was what one would expect at a chain motel. - Location could not be better. About seven miles south of Arches. Main drag within walking distance. - The second Best Western is two blocks north. It appears to be a lot newer and would reserve next time in Moab.

Having two rooms together made it more fun for all. The breakfast area was pleasant but a little more variety would be welcome. Staff here is very helpful and the location can't be beat-close to shops and restaurants. Pool area looked nice but the weather was not conducive.

The hotel is well placed for both the town of Moab and for visiting the Arches Park. The rooms are clean and spacious and contain both a microwave and a fridge but strangely not a safe. The staff are exceedingly friendly and helpful. Coffee, tea, water etc are freely available in the reception area. There is a spacious parking area. The only criticism I have really is that breakfast ( included in the room cost) is not particularly good . Nevertheless we enjoyed a very pleasant stay here.

There is nothing remarkable about this Best Western. All the amenities are as expected. My double queen room was clean and roomy with hard surface floor that makes it easier to deal with the famous Moab red dirt. There is nothing fancy but it works well. I would recommend this hotel mainly due to the price, the location, and the customer service. I was there during spring break and the city was packed, but I was able to get a room for under $200 a night, which was more expensive than some but lower in cost than the newer hotels. We were notified that I had left my laptop in my room after our check out. The front desk held it until I arrived, and I think that just judges an establishment's morals right there! Any other hotel it may have been lost forever. The staff was extremely kind and the rooms have hardwood flooring. It's so much nicer than gross, old carpet. We were impressed with the size of the room and the soft chairs were awesome. We are college students, so even on vacation we had to study. The desk in the room was great to have for that and wifi was very quick! Thanks!

We stayed a single night and wish we had stayed more, The hotel staff were very nice and answered all of our questions. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, updated with wood floors and nice bathroom areas. The breakfast was tasty. The location of the hotel was ideal because it was right by many of the businesses in Moab, and only a short drive to the entrance of Arches National Park. Would definitely stay again.

The experience at this hotel was excellent. Front desk staff are exceptionally friendly and professional. Room was very clean and well presented for a reasonable prices for a tourist area. The full breakfast was excellent.

My room was fine and it was quiet which is my number one thing when traveling. The people at the front desk at check-in and checkout were great. But, one annoyance was that the hot tubs jets weren't working. No major issue, but my surprise was how bad the breakfast was. They did not even have a waffle maker which pretty much every hotel chain has. The eggs and sausage were on a par with Motel 6. Biscuits were ok but gravy was way too runny. Not much of a variety of pastries. Also, the layout of the breakfast area leads to traffic jams. I can't imagine what this would be like on a busy day.

I highly recommend Best Western Plus Greenwell Inn for your stay - brief or long term - in Moab! The accommodations were very comfortable, the room quiet and the breakfast delicious. But the real secret at Greenwell Inn that makes it a truly outstanding property is the amazing customer service! The employees go out of their way to ensure that your stay is pleasant and problem-free. They set a new bar for quality and professionalism in my book! This property is well-managed and I highly recommend it for your needs while traveling through, or staying in Moab for awhile!

Great place to stay in Moab , centrally located, nice room, cordial staff and a very nice continental breakfast included. Get your reservations early, Moab is seeming to come out of it's shell and starting to become busier year round. Moderate priced, Ask for a room on the second floor (it's a little less noisy than down below).

We have stayed here many times and liked it. They are redecorating the rooms which is nice. It is located right downtown so you don't have to drive anywhere. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. The price was reasonable for Feb. It is an older place but maintained well.

We stayed at the best western plus Greenwell on an impromptu visit to Moab... we booked last minute... great rate. Very clean warm and comfortable. Breakfast was a good mix of continental and hot. We ended up staying an extra night. No problem. Really nice stay

My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights between Christmas and New Years, and found it to be a very good hotel for the cost. It's in the middle of town, so it's easy to to walk to several restaurants and a short drive everywhere else. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and there was room to spread out. The property was well maintained, with the snow from a recent storm cleared away for walking/driving areas, unlike the city sidewalks. Breakfast wasn't gourmet, but there was a good selection of hot and cold foods, and it was better than average for this category of motel. I would have no qualms about staying there when I'm back in the area. Do note that this motel is on the east side of the street. There's another Best Western down the street on the west side.

Kim Carter, hotel receptionist, was extremely helpful, funny and actually encouraged booking and extra day! What a keeper! My best friend and I are planning a getaway in Moab and Kim helped us with our reservations. My friend lives in Alaska and with getting here from there - her grandchildren springing a surprise visit on her - we needed several calls to Moab. Kim helped me each and every time and was exceedingly kind with the changes when I actually expected any other hotel clerk to get frustrated. She didn't. She understood our circumstances and was delightful to work with.

Visiting Moab and Arches in the winter is the best! Snowy conditions made photographing Arches awesome. Red Rocks, Arches and snow created nice contrast. Going off-season was nice as the restaurants and the Greenwell weren't so busy! And a main level room was there as requested.

Room was nice and clean. However, the best part of our stay was the included breakfast buffet. They had a pancake machine that only needed the push of a button (no adding batter or turning a waffle iron needed). Included biscuits and gravy, patty sausage and scrambled eggs.

Clean rooms, friendly and efficient staff, beautiful lobby area, good location, reasonable rates, comfortable beds, big television, many amenities, and best continental breakfast. Will stay here again.

This was a very good stay. The staff was friendly and professional. A full breakfast was available and was very well stocked and the lady who serviced the breakfast was exceptional. I recommend this place to anyone needign to stay in a place around Richfield UT.

We loved our stay for 3 nights at BW Greenwell Inn in 2 queen beds room. The room was very spacious and has Microwave, Refrigerator and internet. The breakfast was very good with several hot items including oatmeal (with toppings),fresh pancakes,pastries,bread, egg items,cereal,yogurt,etc. Loved the caring staff too!

This motel is very clean and comfortable. Rooms are very clean. Staff was excellent. Breakfast was fantastic. If you are on a bottom floor, it is very noisy if someone is above you. Sleep disturbed both nights.

Nice place to stay, pretty setting, everything you need and more. Restaurant on site, breakfast in guest services area. Pool, hot tub, fitness center. Smack in the center of town on the strip where you want to be.

We have stayed at both BW Plusses in Moab and liked them both. Greenwell is obviously an older motel building. but it has been tastefully remodelled. The staff is helpful and friendly and the breakfast good. The other BW is newer and therefore somewhat nicer, but this one is the better deal.

This a nicely appearing motel that looks well-maintained from the outside appearance but on staying here found the motel surely didn't warrant a "BW Plus" designation. I question that it meets BW standards. It is over rated and overpriced for the value received. Beyond this, after going to breakfast, came back to find my room door ajar. Housekeeping had entered and completely made up the room. Didn't seem of much concern when reporting the situation. This is an older property that seems to have remodeled but the original structure constricted what could be done to modernize it. The breakfast is in a cramped area and definitely of poor quality. The business center was wanting.

Good rates, good motel. Bathrooms need new moisture resistant drywall. Refinish those bathrooms and this place is solid. Breakfast was decent. Employees were very friendly and accommodating. I will return if prices stay decent.

Very pleasing for a hotel from this chain. I guess that is what the "Plus" means. Room very clean. Pool and hot tub very nice temperature for October. Many attractions and dining options nearby, although I'd avoid the oriental one next door.

Stayed here only one night, but we were impressed with the staff and a breakfast that was a cut above the average hotel fare. The room was clean, the Wi-Fi strong, and everything we needed was in walking distance. There is a nice stream next to the hotel with a walking path.

Better than average. It is located in the middle of the main street, convenient to everything. Breakfast is excellent, better than a lot of other hotels. Roomy and one thing we like the hand wash sink was outside the shower and toilet, very helpful.

I wish the motel would go Green on cleaning supplies. The cleaning staff sprayed a strong spray and it lasted for days. NAUSEATING. The staff did not return the shoes I left during checkout. Personnel could be lot friendlier nd aware.

The front desk sent a microwave up because I asked for one. and then they delivered an extra blanket, just for me. standard Hotel Buffet Breakfast. 24 hr coffee bar. Cozy fire in lobby and welcoming sitting rooms. Yes, elevator but only two stories. One hall way, okay as long as other guests walking the hall remember people sleep behind those closed doors. Best Westerns each have individual decor. This one reminded me of Spanish Decor of by gone days. Plenty of Parking right in town yet very close to Arches and Colorado River Drive up to Fisher Towers (a must).

Excellent value. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location in the centre of the town. Spacious rooms. Great breakfasts. We spent six days going into the national parks and travelling around the wonderful Moab area.

We stayed three nights at this hotel in September. The location and proximity to parks is good, however, the hotel rooms are in need of some TLC. Our unit was on the first floor towards the back of the building. This allowed for peace and quiet but it also made the room very dark. If you are a person who likes to sleep in this will be a perk. The only noise we heard was someone upstairs walking around in boots. The bedding appeared to be old and our sheets had small tears in the fitted sheets. The mattress was extremely firm. Both floor lamps were broken (one shade fell off every time you turned the light on and the other actually sparked when we tried to turn it on!) Management was notified. The bathroom was very tiny, hardly enough room to dry yourself unless you were standing in the tub (and we aren't big people). Sink is outside of the bathroom so once one person is up, everyone is awake. We have stayed in Best Westerns two other times and were extremely happy with the accommodations. If this had been our first experience with BW, it would have been our last. For the $$$ I would have expected nicer. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We came into Moab from the west, which allowed us to enjoy the scenery of Arches N.P. We were welcomed to the Greenwell Best Western and given information about the area regarding where to buy gas, groceries, and pharmaceuticals. All employees expressed their gratitude for us staying with them.

We stayed at the BW Greenwell for 2 nights. We had an unusual circumstance and the desk staff handled it above and beyond. The hotel is in a great location for both Arches and Canyonlands. Moab is a great little town and the hotel is located on the main drag for an easy walk to shopping and places to eat. Great place to stay and the laundry area is an added bonus.

We spent the night here before going to Arches in the morning. Easy walk to dinner choices. Nice shops in which to browse. Everyone we met was very friendly and gave us recommendations on the variety of National Parks in UT. Got a comfortable night sleep and a nice breakfast in the morning. Good start to the day. The room was comfortable and spacious. Highly recommend.

Our room was very nice. The bed was extremely comfortable. Their breakfast was very tasty, but the syrup for the pancakes should be near the pancake maker. The location of the motel is great...within walking distance of several restaurants and shops. We were only about 15 minutes from Arches National Park.

Pillows were exceptionally comfortable! I only stayed there for one night, but everything was clean, comfortable, plenty of breakfast items to choose from, and in a great location in town. Walkable to restaurants, shops, etc. Only thing that could be improved is the breakfast set up. Navigating between other guests and chairs/tables in the way wasn't the easiest. Overall I'd recommend staying here!

We stayed at this hotel for the last two nights of our weeklong road trip between several national parks. We were greeted by a kind staff member who suggested a nearby restaurant and provided us with a 10% off coupon for our meal (definitely recommend Zax!). The room was very comfortable, but the wifi was a bit spotty. Conveniently located near Arches NP, the whole town is cute, walkable, and friendly. I'd stay here again.

Nice hotel with a good staff. Stayed here before and enjoyed our recent stay. Rooms are dated and could use a make over. The breakfast was good and had a variety of good things to choose from. Parking was good and the lot had some longer spots if you have a trailer. Hotel is right in the mix of places to eat and shopping.

What we missed in our room was not having carpeting on the floor and not a clock that we could see the time during the night. The breakfast could also have a better selection for the price of stay.The Fitness room was great actually the best of all the BW Hotels we stayed in.

The beds weren't the most comfortable but they were okay. The hvac gave us fits trying to change temp. The breakfast was quite good. FYI: If you are allergic to artificial scents, warn them in advance. They use an air freshener that killed my allergies. The management was wonderful about it though. Kia at the front desk went above and beyond. Have I stayed in more modern best westerns? Yes, I've also stayed in some that are much worse. What makes this one special is the people.

We chose this hotel for a visit to two national parks, Arches and Canyonlands, near Moab. It worked out very well. It is centrally located so we could walk to all restaurants and shops. It was also an easy drive to both parks and various other activities. It exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed the free coffee in the lobby, and the pool and spa were great.

Besides being a very clean hotel with very professional employees, this hotel is in the PERFECT location on main street. All the best places to eat are within minutes to walk to. Great pool and hot tub on location. Thanks!

We stayed here because it was right in the middle of Moab and walking distance to many restaurants. It is a little older but well kept up. It seemed pretty quiet and that is important since it is right on Main St. Only about 5 miles to Arches NP which was nice. One tip: the driveway opens onto Main St which is a very busy road. If you are coming from the north (like from Arches) it is almost impossible to make a left turn into the place. If you can turn left on 100 South and go around the block so you can access the driveway from the right. This is not the hotel's fault of course (the traffic) but is a fact of life in Moab during busy times.

Wonderful place to stay in the heart of town. Many restaurants nearby to choose from. Our room was farthest away from the lobby buy that made it quieter also. The room and beds were comfortable. Counter staff were very helpful on local sites to see. Breakfast was ample with eggs and sausage as well as pastries, breads, cereals. The area was a little crowded but manageable.

This is a very clean, comfortable hotel centrally located in Moab with plenty of shops and places to eat within walking distance. We especially appreciated the hot, filling breakfast each morning. Day one they served eggs, sausage, and potatoes. Day two they served bacon, eggs, and biscuits and gravy. Both days ham and cheese were available for making sandwiches plus the usual breads, pancakes, yogurts, and fruit. The dining area was also spacious with plenty of tables to accommodate guests. We visited in October and did not try the pool or hot tub. The internet worked well and we appreciated having every TV channel we wanted. The hotel was also very quiet.

Great Staff, Clean Rooms, Good location. Enjoyed our stay close to parks centrally located in town close to many good restaurants and shops. Plenty of seating at breakfast with a good selection of fresh foods.

We enjoyed our stay at the Greenwell Inn. The room was very clean and looked to have been recently refurbished. The hotel is an old style building, with rooms opening to an outside walkway, rather than an inside corridor. The room was very dark. But since we were only in our room during the evening hours, it didn't bother us. One of the best things about the hotel is that it is downtown, right in the middle of the action. The breakfast was good and the public areas were bright and inviting. I would stay here again.

This is a very nice hotel on the main street of Moab. Close distance to walk to restaurants and shops. Breakfast was delicious. Hot tub was nice and there was a nice laundry area. Request a 2nd floor room since you can hear footsteps from 2nd floor but I would stay here again.

Very helpful and friendly staff at check in. Pool was cold and hot tub was heated well but the jets had very little action at all, kind of like sitting in a bathtub instead of a therapy pool. Did not participate in the breakfast but it appeared to be the basic generic bagged frozen eggs and rubber sausage that everyone serves lately. Good news is that the Ranchhouse Restaurant is only a couple of blocks away and they have the best breakfast and servic you can find in Page,AZ or Phoenix AZ

This was a wonderful hotel. They were very accommodating to a few special needs we requested. Room was clean, smelled great, close to parking and breakfast area. Our only complaint is that we did find the it on the pricey side, but not by much.

Motel style with parking outside door. Spacious room with all facilities but it was very dark and lighting was dim. The pool area was lovely and a good place to sit and relax as the room environment was depressing. Complimentary breakfast was excellent and not something we were expecting as part of the cost of the room. Easy walk to all the shops and restaurants.

Shower could have been better; more water pressure would've helped. . Breakfast setup needed tweeking; had to leave resturant to get coffee. Also had to go through loby with our food to eat in overflow room as area by food too small. Nice exercise room & pool. Location great-enjoyed walking to resturants.

Located right downtown in Moab. Location is great and can walk along main street. From the outside .... its Motel (car parked outside and your entrance to your room is from the outside) but your in a small town anyways. The rooms have been updated ... laminated floors and with newer furnishings. Bathroom updated with double shower heads. The Air condition is loud .... I never liked the airconditioners that attached to the underside of the windows. Lots of parking

The hotel is right on Main street, near shops, restaurants, tour groups, etc. Very convenient. The room was clean and well appointed. Refrigerate, microwave, and plenty of storage. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The breakfast room also had plenty of seating available. All of the staff that we interacted with was friendly and helpful. The star was Apollo, the gentleman that kept the breakfast room in perfect order. He was so friendly, helpful, and took his work very seriously.

The booking of this hotel was a long shot, there were two a plus & a premier. Well the plus was amazingly beautiful. It sat at the edge of town over looking a water fall at the entrance and a great view of the mountains in the foreground. The outside entrances to the rooms was different as well, very handy for unloading your luggage but more so to be able to look out your door as through you were home. Highly Recommend this location.

This place is really nice. Had a king room and it was spacious, bed was comfortable. Combination tub/shower, the shower was dual headed. The breakfast was nice, scrambled eggs, bacon, oatmeal, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, cold cereals, danishes, muffins, English muffins, toast, coffee, tea and juices. Very friendly staff at check in/check out and breakfast.

Hotel was very average. Room was pretty clean. There was some overhead noise being on the first floor. Breakfast was decent but nothing extraordinary. Location was convenient to a few good restaurant options within walking distance.

Room smelled of strong cleaning agents upon arrival. Desk chair missing wheel. Pool has no shade... Given Moab's popularity, it's hard to find a reasonably price accommodations. This property is not cheap but is also not great.

This was the fourth stop on our tour of Western USA.All of them had been 3 nights.This was by far the most expensive.Why! It had more or less the same facilities as the others,one previous even had our own balcony and jacuzzi,yet was half the price of the green well.$700 plus dollars for an average hotel is a total rip off.The hot water machine was Luke warm.On checkout the printer would not work.The noise from adjoining rooms was annoying.My advice is find somewhere else.

My wife and I, on our previous visits to Moab, stayed at the other Best Western property in town but, when we checked the rates for our three-day stay in Moab in August 2017, we discovered that staying at the Best Western Greenwell Inn would save us over one hundred dollars. So, this time, we reserved rooms at the Best Western Greenwell Inn. It is true to say that the Greenwell Inn is not so modern as the other BW property in Moab and, from our secind floor room at the far end of the hotel to reception was a walk of over five hundred feet (I know because I paced it out several times). With the exception of quite enough power points (to charge iPhones, iPads, camera batteries, etc.) the allocated room was adequate for our needs. We did, however, discover sand in two drawers and, in the bathroom, the lavatory basin had peculiar markings (it looked as if the glaze had been removed in places by chemicals). We reported these faults to Kim in reception and both problems were corrected immediately. In fact, the complete lavatory unit (basin and water reservoir) was replaced! One could not fault the Greenwell Inn's very quick response. The hotel breakfast was excellent and the breakfast staff were all very helpful and attentive. Being in the very centre of town, it is only a short walk from the hotel to the Moab Information Centre (staffed by vety helpful people), shops and restaurants. It was very hot when we were in Moab (over 100F) and our air-conditioning unit worked well. My wife also enjoyed a couple of hours in the hotel's outdoor swimming pool. We both enjoyed our three-day stay at the Best Western Greenwell Inn and, as always, we were very sorry to have to say goodbye to Moab. We would certainly stay in the Best Western Greenwell Inn again.

At least half of the rooms have outside entrances. The rooms are all very old and outdated. There are very few plug ins so it makes it difficult for four people to be able to plug in electronic devices such as cell phone chargers, etc The bathroom and particularly the tub and shower room are very small. This should not have a BW Plus rating. Needs to be torn down or have a major overhaul.

My wife and I stayed here 4 years ago and had a wonderful experience. The breakfast at that time was one of the best we've ever experienced in a Best Western. The hotel was clean and we had a great time exploring all the parks in the area. I'm not sure if the place changed owners but now things are not quite as good as they were. Do not walk on the hardwood floors in your room...the bottoms of your feet will turn black very quickly. The breakfast, while still adequate, has lost some of the appeal of the past. The home made waffles have been replaced by automated pancakes...not sure why. The staff was very friendly and helpful which made the stay OK. This used to be our go to motel in Moab but I think next time we may have to look around.

Enjoyed our stay at Best Western Plus Greenwell Inn, Moab, UTAH. Loved the outdoor pool, it was very refreshing in the heat of the day. The breakfast was great! We've never had such a good buffet before.

This was a great place to stay in Moab. It was within walking distance to nice restaurants in the evening. The first evening we arrived, we went to the visitor center 1 block away and got a lot of information about the National Parks and the state parks nearby. the room itself was nice, clean and well organized. We enjoyed our stay there.

Good clean comfortable hotel. 1st floor rooms open to parking lot which is a plus for me. Right in the middle of Moab Walking distance to all shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this place if you want convenient

The location of the BW is lovely, The staff were very nice and presented themselves well. The only problem we encountered was there was not enough water pressure in the shower. The pool area was nice.

My son and i have stayed in BWs in many cities over the years as he plays baseball. Greenwell ranks as one of the better BWs. The cleaning staff were very helpful in particular as we "lost" a set of rather expensive earphones of our teen. The staff were able to locate the earphones after we checked out..If you are in Moab consider this BW. It is also VERY central which made it all the more better. We will certainly stay here when we return.

We have a wonderful stay @ Best Western in Moab. The breakfasts were very good, altho sometimes ran out of some food. But all in all we enjoyed our stay. We used the laundry which was very nice. Used the pool some but it was very clean & warm.The location was perfect to walk to all the various shops and restaurants. Thank you for upholding the great qualities of a Best Western hotel.

We were in Moab to go through the Arches National Park. This hotel was conveniently located in the center of Moab. Very close to restaurants and shopping. Very clean and quiet. The price was very reasonable.

I spent 4 nights at the Greenwell this July and was really happy yet again with the experience. The location and amenities were splendid. The room was clean and comfortable and right downtown and next to the best bar in town (Woody's). I stayed here last year and hoped that it would be consistent and it surely was. I'll be back again next summer for more fun in Moab, and I'll be thrilled to know that I can come back after a long day and crash at this awesome hotel!

The room was a good size, clean and well equipped. The shower was particularly good, plenty of pressure and hot. The coffee machine was quick and made great coffee. Breakfast was fine if lacking bacon, american breakfast sausage is an acquired taste. They are keen to close down breakfast at 9.30 so dont be late!! The pool was nice the evening we arrived but the following morning at 10.15am it has a nasty scum of i assume suntan cream floating on it which took over an hour to disperse and the pool cleaner was happier cleaning the concrete concourse as opposed to cleaning the water. well located for eateries and free coffee at reception all day but the pool was real shame.

Great hotel in a great location. Moab is a very popular tourist area and the hotel was very nice. We hiked the day of our checkin and were very tired. We slept in and missed the breakfast which promptly stopped at 9am. It would have been nice to be able to go a little later.

For the price the services in general were average. Receptionist on arrival was unpleasant. Breakfast okay except for two gluten free visitors food was inadequate and scrambled eggs powdered. We enjoyed the pool and gym.

Nice big room. Clean. Helpful staff. Perfect location in town- you can walk to whatever restaurant you want. It is great that they have laundry available. The pool is nice but has no shade. I will again.

The hotel is right in the heart of Moab and there are many restaurants and places to walk to. We had a good time while we were there and to come back to the hotel where we were comfortable was really nice. I am not crazy about the wood floors in the rooms but that is just my opinion. Breakfast was one of the best ones I have ever been too. Manah (I am sorry if I am not spelling your name right) did a great job checking us in and letting us know where the best places to eat were! Thank you!

Visually it is nice, amenities were nice and were all working. Upon a long day on a construction jobsite in the hot sun I returned to shower. Only to find someone else's "hair" (and more than 1) fall off the shower curtain as I opened it. For me, I was totally turned off. At that point I was not sure how clean the bedding was so I slept on top, fully clothed with a blanket from my trunk. For the positive, the location is fantastic, walking distance to shops & eating establishments and staff was friendly.

Great Location to down town. Rooms were large and very clean. Front desk was pleasant and helpful. Pool area was clean and pleasant to use. Breakfast was ok, sitting on the front porch with coffee in the morning was nice.

Quaint little hotel right at the major intersection in this cute tourist town. Stayed here one night and went to Arches National Park the next day. Used the pool it was very big and warm, only issue was there was a little bit of debris floating around in it. Next morning we had the free continental breakfast and it was by far the best free breakfast I've had at a hotel in quite awhile, it was big and very tasty.

This hotel was expensive, but based on the location and demand it was expected. Access to the room was from the outside and the hotel provided plenty of parking. Our room was comfortable and quiet, however, it felt like the hotel owners had reinvested in the front of the hotel, but not in modernizing the rooms. The hotel was in a good location being within walking distance of many downtown establishments. It was also close to one of the Utah State Liquor stores. The best part of the stay was the included breakfast which offered more choices than the normal hotel breakfast. The hotel staff was also friendly and provided us with rags to wipe down our motorcycles in the morning. I did need to cancel one of our rooms at the last minute due to a bike breakdown. The staff was very accommodating.

I have lived at so many hotels before. This is the only hotel I experienced a racist front desk. When we checked in, a young white front desk lady assigned both two of my reservations next to noisy vending machine. The first one was next to vending machine on first floor, and second one was next to vending machine on second floor. After we found out, I went to see her to change room, she said all were occupied. Right after our conversation, a white lady showed up asked to changed her room, she immediately apologized for something and give her a new room. We paid more than $200 for each motel like room, still got treatment like this. I think best western needs a good employment training on racism.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The motel is in downtown Moab, and an easy walk to many great restaurants and shops. The lobby and facade are new and very nice. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. The pool is nice. The problem is the room itself. The rooms are dark with no view, which isn't horrible because you probably spent most of your day outside in the bright sun. The rooms were recently renovated, but cheaply. Few drawers, no room safe (which forces you to hike with all your money and credit cards in your pockets), and no clothes line over the tub. I only mention that because many guests hang their clothes outside to dry, giving the motel a downmarket look. They also include a large ironing board, which makes you wonder if the person that designed the room knew what people did in Moab.

Room wasn't clean, sheets were torn and some hair was found on them. Front desk experience wasn't pleasant. Laundry room was useful and pool was nice. Location was great. Breakfast was not good, food wasn't fresh and not enough healthy options.

The breakfast was phenomenal & the rooms had just been upgraded to laminate floors. We had a lil issue with a light but we'd certainly choose to stay in this centrally located hotel again. You can walk to all the restaurants in town & a few bakeries.

Two night stay. Family vacation. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The last night the AC went out in one room, but the management compensated for the malfunction. Breakfast was standard fare with clean area. Worth the stay.

This is a tourist town, so they do not expect you to be back ever. Even then, this place is bad. We were out on a 2 week trip in UT and WY, and stayed in about 8 different hotels, including other Best Western - and this place was the worst. First, if you are given a room at the furthest end, be prepared to walk a mile and push our luggage - the elevator is only at one end. When we checked in, the staff were courteous - but just like robots, no smile, not friendly. Once we reach our room, we found food left over in the fridge by the previous occupants. The shower tub did not drain and coffee maker did not work. We stayed for 2 nights and I politely complained about tub and coffee maker to the front desk, the lady took down the details and assured it will be fixed. On returning back that night we found the tub was taken care -but the coffee maker still did not work. Spend your money on other, possibly better hotels.

The room was clean, comfortable and everything worked. The motel was also in a good location, Moab is small but it is close to the center. The front desk staff was efficient and helpful with recommending a local restaurant for dinner.

Service rather poor. Associates were pleasant but inattentive. Refrigerator did no keep things cold. Bedding looked dingy and wrinkled. I would say this was an average stay but with a few glitches. I was not impressed and thought four stars would give me more. I do appreciate the partial refund given to me after a family member complained a second time. I complained the first time and got dismissed.

Hotel has lots of old motel charm in a charming town. Very well maintained, clean, comfortable beds, fluffy towels and a great staff. Cleaning staff attended to the inside and outside spaces, power washing walkways, and weeding gardens in 100 degree heat. The Rooms are spacious and offer great space for families to spread out and relax. A complete breakfast is offered and coffee available all day. The front desk staff can offer day trip suggestions and lots of places to eat. A great place to call home while exploring Moab and the parks.

Specifically the one named Mariah. Stayed here for a couple of nights while in Moab to visit the Arches, Mariah was the person at the front desk after check-in she handed my husband the keys and said go now, she was rude but we were tired so we let it pass. The following day, after hiking the whole day we went back to the room to rest a bit before going to dinner and the cleaning crew at the room above ours were making loud noises. They were walking back & forth, dragging stuff on the floor for almost an hour so my hubby went to the front desk to ask Mariah if she can advise the cleaning crew to tone down the noise a lil bit coz we're trying to rest and Mariah said "we have a lot of check outs so rooms need to be cleaned do you want me to go to the store to pick up ear plugs for you?" Very rude! I don't know what's going on with her but she shouldn't be in the front desk coz her attitude is giving your hotel a very bad impression. I hope management will do something about this because nobody should be treated like especially if you're a paying customer!

Updated motel with good free breakfast, perfect location to walk downtown , good pool area and excellent staff. Price was a little high, but room was very clean with laminate floors and good wi-fi, and laundry room. Overall a great location great staff,and a nicely updated older hotel.

Overall we liked our stay. The staff is pleasant and the place was clean. The breakfast staff is the most pleasant and friendly that we have seen in a long time. We stayed for a week and would have liked to stay longer but the prices are a little high. It has a good location. The Quesadilla food truck was amazing and the Moab Café next door are great places to eat.

The rooms were very clean. A little heavy on the bleach scent for the sheets but at least it was a sign that they were freshly laundered! The toiletries were a little sparse, we were missing a lotion. I'd go a little more natural based on the toiletries also, smelled very pungently soapy. Maybe I'm just sensitive to odors. I like the outdoor room access, gives it a vacation vibe. Don't feel like your trapped in some big hotel. Breakfast was good. The meats weren't very warm, could have been kept warmer but good variation of meats and breads. It might be nice to have some lemon water in the lobby. The biggest surprise was that there was no shade in the swimming area and on the upper deck veranda. That is a huge deal in a sunny climate. The jets in the hot tub could use a reburf too; a little weak.

This place needs some management. Our room was not clean. The cleaning person said we had a no disturb on the door, which was not true. After complaining we waited for hours for them to come clean it and when he did--he did a half job. Forgot our washcloths and coffee. The location was GREAT---breakfast average.

The room itself was very clean, the staff were friendly, & breakfasts was great. Kids enjoyed swimming at the pool. The walls were thin & heard someone stomping or jumping during the night. I also didn't realize the doors are to the outside & I don't like that. I very much prefer internal hallways.

The hotel was EXCELLENT! Close to restaurant and local grocery stores. Close to the Arches National Park. The room had everything we needed for us to rest. Rooms were very clean with hard wood floor. Plenty of space.

This is a very cute hotel with nice decorations. The staff was nice and professional. The breakfast was delicious. The pool and fitness area were both great. The only complaint was that in our room, we found several long black hairs even though the females with us were both blonde. Other than that, everything was great.

Hotel at good location in Moab centre. Plenty of parking, rooms could do with a bit of an upgrade but ok for a few nights. Good breakfast, although wife felt eggs over cooked. Small pool area outside with laundry machines. Overall hotel was quiet but reasonably busy. We visited both parks over two days, could be done in one day if you had the energy and it was a little cooler but I wouldn't recommend it. Good food at local restaurants no chains around.

Quaint town. Lots to do and see. Lots of restaurants. Very close to Arches. Would definitely consider staying there again. Basic buffet breakfast but had a variety to chose from. Very accommodating to your requests.

Our family stayed at this hotel for a night while in Moab, Utah. Our daughter brought to our attention that there was a mouse in the room. When we went to the front desk the person said she was the only person on duty. She said the hotel was full and she couldn't move us to another room. She proceeded to hand to us a mouse trap and told us to set up the trap ourselves. We had to pack our suit cases up and put it back in the car and put all our food items back into the car for fear the mouse might get into our things. We set up the trap and early in the morning we heard the trap go off. The next morning at check out, the manager at the front desk, Kim refused to give my husband her last name and was not very apologetic. When he asked why they didn't have a maintenance person available she replied what would a maintenance person had done. My husband asked do you always have your guest set up their own mouse trap? He asked if she wanted to see the mouse and she replied no. So after spending a night with this problem we were given a measly 30% discount for our troubles.

Upon walking into the hotel room (after a hot day-long hike, mind you), the smell of raw sewage hit my nose and I immediately checked the toilet to see if a gross surprise had been left behind. I then proceeded to call the front desk to let them know that quite frankly, the room smelled like feces! I invited the front desk staff to come and smell the room and they agreed that it smelled like sewage. They offered to bring an iononizer, which they did, but let me know I had to leave the room for at least an hour so the machine could cycle the air and smell out. And here all I wanted to do was take a shower to cool off and take a nap and rest, but I could not stay in the room. The front desk staff did offer their last room, which was street facing and very loud. I declined as I wanted a quiet room. I was very disappointed about this whole smelly room and wished I could have had a much better stay and better review of this hotel.

The Best Western Plus is our go-to hotel when we are in Moab. It's consistent with other Best Westerns in service, quality, and value. The Moab one is close to shopping and restaurants, has a good breakfast buffet, and is clean and well-staffed. Just a few miles away from Arches National Park and Canyonlands.

This hotel was beautiful! I love the 2 shower heads, that was something I was totally impressed with! The Keurig in the room was a nice touch though we didn't use it. The pool was awesome. I got to breakfast right before it closed, so the pickings were slim. But the the area was big and I was able to sit on the terrace! It was beautiful. OH I loved the gift at check in AND the extra points if you are a reward member that is! I'll be back if ever in the area!

Friendly staff and helpful to the end. The lobby was welcoming and coffee was always available. Easy check in and check out. The location was ideal in the center of town. Walking to shops and restaurants. Overall, just right for our vacation through the National Forests.

The location is very convenient. It is right in the heart of town within walking distances to restaurant and shops. The view is great. The pool, fitness center and laundry were also convenient. Breakfast and lobby area were spacious and well decorated. Food was good and plenty (although it is powdered eggs) The only negative I have was that my room was not clean when we checked in. There was urine residue on the underside of the toilet and dirt streaks and dried paint chips in the bathtub. I should not have to bring this to anybody's attention. It is a given that the room should be clean when you come in without having to inspect it and nag someone to come and clean it. I was so disgusted that I had to go buy cleaning supplies and clean it myself so my children can use it. I didn't want them to come back and just spray bleach on it as there was a strong odor when we walked in. Bleach does not equate to clean. I was very disappointed especially at 175/night. When I told front desk that the bathtub also is not draining I watched the staff write down the wrong room number which makes me think that they just make it like they care but they really don't. BTW, the light in the bathroom is very dim which might be purposeful so you could not see dirt.

We had three rooms in our group. One room had food in the bed between the sheets. Clearly they were not changed. My room had no remote. After arguing with the front desk I was given one that had blood on it. After cleaning it myself I found it did not work. Our other friends needed a hairdryer but there room did not have one (ours did). They were told the hotel was out of them.

Great stay in Moab, Utah while visiting the Arches and Canyonlands. Very convenient location on Main St. near all of the shops and restaurants. Easy parking-lots of spaces. Comfortable, clean room and bath. Courteous staff and great breakfast buffet.

Taking the positives first...the hotel is in the heart of 'downtown' Moab so there are plenty of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. It is also very well situated for accessing Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. The rooms are relatively well equipped and comfortably furnished. It provides very reliable wifi and plenty of parking. So far so good. Unfortunately...when we pay £310 ($390) for a two night stay we do not expect grubby pillow cases, unlaundered bedding and a sheet with a rip in the middle of it. (This was reported at the reception desk and the torn sheet was replaced in the morning.) Although the sound insulation seemed quite good this did not extend as far as the A/C noise from adjacent rooms which was a little intrusive and although there is a wide choice of hot and cold food at breakfast the same cannot be said of the tepid and flavourless coffee which left us having to drive to the City Market Supermarket two blocks south of the hotel where Starbucks were thankfully able to provide coffee as it should be. So, all in all, this is actually not a bad hotel but a little attention to detail would make it so much better and raise it from just average to very good.

A nice hotel with pool and small gym. Located in the center of town. Easy drive to Arches National Park north of town. Well kept and clean. Easy walking distance to restaurants. Breakfast is included. And most important the air conditioning works. The only negative is low water pressure, which is partially compensated by two shower heads instead of the standard single. Pricing is around $200 per night.

We had a great stay at the Best Western Greenwell Inn. There was plenty of parking -- even with bike racks. They also had pull through spots for cars with trailers!!! The breakfast was great and we ate on the patio which had fabulous views of the Red Cliffs Moab is known for. You can also access a bike trail right from their parking lot!!!! This hotel is in the middle of downtown which means we didn't have to worry about parking. In the evening we ate out at great restaurants within 2 blocks of the hotel. In Moab it doesn't get any better than this hotel!!!! I'm coming back!!!!!

This is one of two Best Western motels in Moab. Both are located in the heart of the tourist area with many dinning & shopping options. The Greenwell was super clean and most of the rooms were tucked back away from traffic. The lobby was very upscale, as well as the breakfast facilities. Breakfast food options include meat, eggs, potatoes, fruit, cereal, a pancake machine, etc. The workout room was well equipped and had room for yoga or dance, Pool was gated, pretty & well maintained. Highly recommend!

Very good hotel. Located in the downtown area of Moab. Made it easy for walking to stores and dinning. Easy in and out of the parking lot. The staff has been very helpful and willing to get things done.

Nice hotel in very good location. Big rooms and very comfortable beds. We had room far from road, so it was very quiet. Nice pool and good laundry. Very friendly people at reception and breakfast. Would stay again.

Took Pictures of Mold on bathroom wall and lots of dusty bunnies under bed. Staff was otherwise great and especial the Gentlemen who monitored the breakfast nook. Breakfast was fine, good location in Moab. Not what I expect from a Best Western

This is a real nice motel in downtown Moab. Easy walks to shops, restaurants and other activities. They have a decent pool, hot tub and workout room. It's in the middle courtyard/parking lot area. The rooms are pretty comfortable and quiet. They have hard wood floors, which is a little unusual. Glad we were on the second floor! The water pressure in the shower was a little weak, but it did have a double shower head. Their breakfast was pretty good. Eggs, sausage, oatmeal, pastries, coffee and juice. They even had a pancake machine. Push a button...receive pancakes. Magic!

The room was dark and dank with very low ceilings. Don't get a first floor location if you actually end up booking this venue - your upstairs neighbors will keep you annoyed and awake. Moab is the only place around to get a room when you visit Arches and other surrounding parks. For this reason I assume they have jacked up the prices. The towels were ratty, the beds were very squeaky and uncomfortable. The cleanliness was pretty non-existent. This was the most expensive place we stayed on a month long trip, and by far the worst. Don't book it. Do airbnb or something less expensive...can't be much worse. Yuck. One redeeming thing - the little guy who worked the breakfast area in the morning was hard-working and kind. Not worth $250/night though.

This hotel met all of our expectations. Centrally located in town! Walked to shopping and dining. The staff was always willing to help us make reservations and get fishing information. Also told about local events in the area.

This hotel is situated in a great spot in downtown Moab. It offers easy walking access to all the restaurants and shops. The room was good size with "hardwood" floors...great for after a day of hiking in the sand. That is about all the great things I can say. There were dirty towels and dirty pillow cases...we threw them all in a pile for housekeeping. The fridge only worked if you left the cabinet it was sitting in open...otherwise nothing would get cold. The A/C was loud and brought in all the pollen and allergy inducing dust while it was on. The included breakfast was average with the typical hotel free buffet selections. I would not choose this hotel again.

This hotel is awful. They charge $200 per day. The rooms are old and the furnishings need to be updated. We were on the bottom floor and could hear the people above us. There are better hotels in the area We cancelled 2nd night due to poor accommodations, noise all night long from above and the exorbitant price.

Hot water was Luke warm at best. Air conditioner very loud, stayed on ground floor and could hear people walking all night. Location is good but price paid for room was double other best western rooms we stayed at on trip. Gouging customer for staying in Moab.

Stayed in Moab two nights to see Arches National Park. This Best Western in Moab was less than 15 minutes from Arches. Located on the main drag with plenty of restaurants, shops, amenities within walking distance. The breakfast is average but enough to get you started for the day. Pool with a jacuzzi, laundry facilities, and a gym across the parking lot. A little pricey for a Best Western but seems to been in par with the hotels in downtown Moab. Very friendly hotel staff and clean, large rooms.

Hotel is right downtown so it's in within walking distance of shopping and loads of restaurants. Short drive to Arches and about 25 minutes to Canyonlands' Island in the Sky. Nice hotel balcony area to relax by the fire. Sat by the pool while doing a load of laundry that is right there at the pool area. Breakfast was free, but not a lot of choice of foods.

Disappointed with our room and the rate was high. The room had a smell to it and the room have exterior doors. I checked in at 4:00 and I was told our room wasn't ready. Needless to say, I was not pleased. The reception clerk offered to contact me when my room was ready and did text me not long after, but again when hotel checking is 4:00, guests expect their room to be ready. When the guests arrived at the room above ours, it was very loud and we heard all their walking and wheeling their suitcases in. The lobby is beautiful and the breakfast was definitely above average.

Very clean and friendly service. Reasonably priced. Would go back. Complete hot breakfast comes with price of the room. Handicap friendly. Hotel is centrally located within walking distance of everything. The Arches National Park is within 5 miles.

The staff was rude and the room was hardly made. Both beds seemed to have been thrown together seconds before entering. Would be surprised if the sheets were actually changed. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

This is a very good hotel, what I expect from BW: excellent location, friendly staff, typical continental breakfast, very nice lobby, excellent 24/7 coffee, very quiet and clean room, but dollar for dollar it's about $30-40 over priced (granted this is a very subjective call). I understand one pays for the downtown location and convenience, but the room amenities do not justify the high retail price in my opinion. If the price was ~$35 less, I would give this hotel 5 stars.

We stayed there the end of April for two nights while hiking in Arches and this is the best place to stay. It is a very clean hotel and the service is excellent! The toilet stopped working at night and someone immediately came down to fix it. We slept very well and it is so comfortable to stay. The breakfasts at Best Westerns are the best you could ask for. The best food to start your day. Hot full breakfasts with eggs, sausage, bacon, oatmeal and fruit. The people behind the front desk offer excellent service. They are very friendly and you could not find a better place to stay.

Haven't been to Moab in years and was astonished to discover how busy it is. Make reservations early at this time of year. This hotel was a great bargain for an expensive town. They have a lovely deck area with a fireplace which we enjoyed. The motel is also right next to the walking path along the river.

The hotel was clean and quiet. Breakfast was good, typical of a BW hotel. I had a pleasant two day stay. Thought the rate was high but Moab is a very popular and expensive place to stay. Couldn't access vending machines later in evening.

Nice place to stay at reasonable price. Good location in Moab-close to shops and variety of restaurants. Staff gave excellent service. Quiet. Updates to original building are well done. Pool and exercise facility modern and clean. Grounds well kept.

We spent 4 nights in Moab at the Best Western Plus Greenwell Inn and we loved the atmosphere and location. The outdoor pool and hot tub were in a quiet area in a separate building and it was so nice to relax while our laundry was being done steps away. We loved sitting on the front patio in the evening and watching all the activity on the main street. Moab is a mecca for sports of any kind. Thanks Best Western for a great and memorable stay.

We had a great experience as always, this hotel is right in the center of the action if you are attending the April action car show. It is close in walking distance to all sorts of fun things to do and the hotel staff was very accommodating.

This hotel gets nearly 5 stars. I'm giving is a one star as a warning to anyone checking into the rooms above the lobby on the second floor numbered 800-822. These are top of the line $200 a night handicap accessible recently remodeled rooms. Unfortunately the main through fare highway 191 runs outside the front door of this hotel. To add insult to injury it is located on a corner with a stop light. So the semi trucks brake with their engine and squeaky brakes approaching the light. Then with their exhaust stack 10 ft. from your window, they throttle up with a deep raspy roar hauling a full load. This went on all night even at 3 AM. Even with noise cancellation head phones, the noise kept us awake. Not acceptable. The louvre blinds failed to keep out light. Pool was an open walk across parking lot. All other amenities were 5 star. Now we know why this was their last room. It should only be rented to deaf people. Perhaps a room further from the office, but this should have been remodeled into a street side patio or conference room. Perhaps too noisy for a conference room. Heads up on rooms 822 and surrounding ones above office. Breakfast excellent. Shower bath all excellent. Just a super noisy room location.

Thank you Best Western for providing a very convenient and pleasant motel for us in Moab Utah for our attending the car show. The breakfast was a nice bonus. Loved the pool and hot tub as well as the exercise gym. All of our needs were met by helpful staff.

This is a great location and predictably nice room. Very good staff. But pretty expensive and the breakfast was terrible. We stayed four days. For the first three we went back to the buffet trying to find something real or tasty and it was not possible. By the last mornin we were resigned to just having an English muffin and coffee.

Easy to find although traffic outside busy. Welcoming reception area and helpful staff. Room spacious and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast very good. Motel like accommodation and we stayed on second floor. All rooms seemed to lookout at car park. A little noisy as there was a car show when we stayed.

My husband, teenage son and I stayed here for 10 nights and it was just what we needed. Clean rooms, nice pool area, laundry, gym, close to all Moab attractions, trailer parking and friendly staff. Everyone at the hotel made our stay lovely and we felt at home. The top deck with fire place is fantastic as well.

Well, I Paid a HIGH PRICE (WAY HIGH...$250 for just a one night stay!!) THINKING...that this was going to be the Best Place to stay in town and THANK GOODNESS I did not book this for more than one night ! The Lobby is very impressive, Nice furniture and all, but the rooms was nothing more than a Motel 6 or 8 type of room with maybe a nice bedspread and a somewhat decorative Mirror in the dressing area. Now here were go with even more..I took Photos of the small area in the toilet, shower tub area of how DIRTY the floor was because I took one of their washcloths and was going to wipe up a small spot that I saw that looked dusty or ? anyhow I ended up using the washcloth on the entire floor in the small area of maybe 3 X 4 Ft and you will see the Photo at the end of my review to show just how dirty it was. Obviously not cleaned in quite some time. Also their Continental style breakfast was less than desirable. Eggs were COLD, and just about anything else that should be warm. They had run out of several things before we even finished our Skimpy meal. We had to go elsewhere and buy something to eat after paying for breakfast at this hotel. I would NEVER RECOMMEND The Best Western Greenwell Inn to ANYONE. Oh and I just was going to add a photo and remembered that when I threw the sheet back to get in bed...the sheets were TOTALLY wrinkled and I am not even sure that maybe they might have been slept in prior to be as wrinkled as they were? We experienced a quick checking. We also liked the way the hostess was eager to help us find a nice dining place. She was very helpful in giving us directions to where we needed to go. Checking out was a breeze.

To begin, we came to Moab for the hiking so did not expect 5 star accommodations. However, the Best Western Plus Greenwell was average if not below average for a hotel. Check-in was smooth and lobby has been updated. Then you leave the lobby and see the rooms. It's motel style so all rooms face the parking lot. The rooms were extremely dated and had a general unclean feel to them. Bathroom was well past it's prime and again just felt dirty. Bedding was thin (I was freezing at night) and the pillows were old and used. The breakfast was fine and typical for this type of hotel. Eating area was clean and well maintained. The property did have a pool and hot tub that was nice and in good condition. Best part of the hotel was the location. It is right in downtown Moab and very easy to walk to restaurants or shops. However, even the things that were "good" about this property were overshadowed by the run-down, drab, unclean rooms. Also, the price of the room was $200+/night so far from a bargain.

The hotel was great! Located in the center of Moab, the hotel looks as though it was recently remodeled. New bath rooms with tile and granite counter tops. The rooms had new furniture and beds with those new Sheet and comforter systems. The staff was professional and friendly. They had a great breakfast with a sufficient number of choices.

We asked for a ground floor which was great. This is a 3 star plus hotel. Rooms a little on small size but two double beds quite comfortable. Easy walk to the only hotel bar and food for dinner. The Jeep 4x4 convention was in town for the week what a great street view of passing Jeeps doing their evening street show. This hotel has safe parking for SUVs as all the bays are painted for the big pickups. I am a best Western member and did expect a more up to date facilities. It is below standards of many other Best Westerns. We are two Aussies from Australia and have used Best Westerns in Europe and many other countries and this hotel does not meet the standard we are accustomed to elsewhere, and the nightly rate should be less maybe they raised the rates for Easter and the Jeep convention, which I don't appreciate when on 5 weeks touring the US.

Ok. The squatting position is the best way to eliminate BUT if you have any mobility issues, the toilets are far from comfort height. The walls are thin and corridor is exterior so everybody walks in front of your window forcing you to keep the curtains drawn anytime you are in the room. Bed was not particularly comfortable. Breakfast had good choices and front desk folks were nice. Pool was across parking lot but the water was too chilly for swimming. On the main drag so you can walk most anywhere in town. The wifi was SPOTTY and I kept on losing internet connection.

My daughter and I stayed here on our way through Moab on our way to Monticello for a funeral. This is an older hotel, but has been nicely updated. It is a two-story outdoor-access hotel, but there is an elevator for access to the second floor; so room accessibility is not an issue. The front desk and reception area is warm and inviting. Our room was well-appointed and our beds were very comfortable. I especially liked the updated flooring in the room which was a wood-look laminate. It seemed nice and clean and was so much better than the crunchy carpet in so many chain hotels. I had forgotten my toothbrush, but was given one by the front-desk clerk upon asking for one. As comfortable as we were, our favorite part of our stay was the breakfast in the morning. The breakfast room was spacious, more like a restaurant, and there were plenty of options. The breakfast room attendant was attentive and made sure that everything was well-stocked. There is a hot food counter where a short-order cook will prepare several items to your liking. There's also hot oatmeal with a variety of add-ins including fruit toppings. They also offer fresh fruit and a variety of pastries and yogurts. It was a great start to our day after a refreshing sleep. We would definitely stay here again.

Centrally located, comfortable rooms, well maintained facility. Basic amenities- TV, pool, wifi. Breakfast area is very nice with fruit, eggs. "Chefs" on hand to manage the omelette and pancake/waffle bar.
