Best Western Plus Milwaukee Airport Hotel & Conference Center

My cousin and I both booked rooms and asked to be put next to eachother and they gave us a conjoined room, was super happy with that. Could use some waffles or pancakes. The pool was awesome, kids enjoyed it very much and the room was so clean room, very happy! They let us also have a late check out at no charge! A great time for the kids to celebrate spring break.

Just Wow! I have stayed at this place over the years and these last 3 experiences were unfortunately my last. This morning topped it off. The last couple times I was here Everyone (locals) were taking huge plates of food, so by the time 8:00 hits, your waiting for them to put out more. Last two breakfast girls were doing more chatting than engaging with customers and making sure food was available. But this last time, I came to get breakfast at 9am, as I'm walking to the breakfast room I see people walking to there rooms with big amount of food on there plates. So by the time we go there, there was literally only potatoes and dry French toast, not even syrup! I took pictures, couldn't believe it. Also none of the lights were on in the breakfast area, it was freezing, my kids were putting there arms in their sleeves, the TVs were off. I knock on the kitchen door to ask for ketchup and to see if they were going to bring anymore food out and no one answered. 30 minutes later a tall young man walks out with iPods in his ear. (No wonder he didn't answer for the knock) then I ask if he was going to bring any other food out and he goes “oh yeah I think the bacon is done” brings out a n handful of bacon and that's it! I took pictures to show what was out there for “complimentary” breakfast. Also the pool area, the water is foggy and dirty, the jets do not work! The floors have rust spots everywhere. The couch was stained and felt dingy just like the bed, very very uncomfortable. They have these small non fluffy pillows, and sheets for covers with a very thin “blanket” on top. When I took a shower the floor felt dirty, literally like a thick slime. (I took a picture) because I wanted everyone to know… don't waste your money. Ten years ago it was a beautiful place, now… you have all these young kids running the show it seems like, that are there for a quick dollar. No communication, no hospitality and what seems like just laziness to me when it comes to the cleanliness of these rooms. Everything is old fashioned, and I don't think they care at all to do any updates. Such a beautiful place with much potential and not the right people to run it. It's sad.

Dirty hot tub, freezing pool, no towels. People partying in the pool lobby well after 10. Kids running though hallways and knocking on doors well past midnight. Called front desk to ask for more toilet paper and never received any. Was more people than there was food for breakfast. Worst stay ever !

Breakfast sucked, it used to be very good with many options available. room stunk. Toilet had skid marks, bed sunk in, bottom of bathtub had black stains. Coffee pot was placed on an end table with no outlet nearby. Would not go there again

Hotel front desk very polite, maintenance was helpful fixing hot water issue... Room had dirty towels inside upon checking in made me question if room was properly cleaned. Breakfast was served 6-10AM went down at 8:30-8:45, all that was there was scrambled eggs and 3 cartons of cereal... Was told 10min food was coming we waited and nothing. Went back to our room still hungry and backed up and left, went to a local dinner for breakfast. Last time we will be staying at this location, our past stays were never this bad.

We stayed here on Super Bowl Sunday. The bartender was the greatest! He was so friendly and went out of his way to serve us food and drinks. We stayed for the fly and park. The shuttle to take us to the airport was right on time. We have stayed here 3 years and always was an enjoyable stay.

By far the worst experience at any hotel I've stayed at. Ice machines nor elevator were in working order. Room smelled of cigarette smoke. They offer breakfast, but was little to none at 8:15a. Hallway smelled like marijuana! Gentlemen at check in counter was clueless to anything going on with the facility. Wouldn't recommend this hotel!!

Pool atrium temp was between 50-55 degrees. Water was chilly. Hot tub jets didn't work. Birthday party going on with kids that didn't stay at hotel. Eventually they overtook the pool and hot tub. We couldn't use hot tub, too many kids in it that weren't staying there. Internet wasn't the best, kept disconnecting. Nothing special about buffet breakfast. Got there around 8am, they were already out of items when it just opened. Been going here for years. Unfortunately, we won't be back!!

I stayed 4 nights for a convention that had been planned at the hotel. It was January in WI and it snowed. There was major water leakage into the hotel, disintegrating many ceiling tiles and causing fixtures to fall out of the ceiling and dangle from cords. There was just a visible level of neglected maintenance. One of the main sliding doors was broken. Juice and coffee machines for the breakfast were broken. The kitchen was understaffed and under provisioned to keep up with the demand for food. The temperature in the hotel was also chilly. The staff who were there were doing their best but it was an impossible situation and ownership and management clearly aren't investing enough into hotel maintenance and repairs to keep it functional. I felt unsafe walking the hallways and using the event space because of how the ceiling kept falling and the fact that there was water everywhere

We stayed one night during a snowstorm. The room was clean and as can be expected for the price, but the bugs, damaged, dated & extremely worn property, and a lack of supposedly included breakfast were show-stoppers. Never again!

where to even begin, the only good thing about the hotel was the jacuzzi in the room. the room was supposed to be in total $347 but upon arrival it was $100 more then what was stated online when reserving the room. the lady said it's a deposit that i should get back. getting into the room the key cards didn't work at all. walked to the front desk twice to get my cards to work. the 2nd room sofa bed had no sheets, blankets or enough pillows even for the king bed. the sofa bed had a huge stain on it. the floors had brown stains. we called for sheets and blankets and they said no but then when i called back and said look there's no sheets or blankets they brought up sheets. i requested a rollaway bed for an extra charge.they denied me for that. said they couldn't do it. the roof is leaking so bad everywhere. the hot tub jets are not working. the pool and hot tub area are filthy. never no towels the 2 days we were there. the poor lady who was there for a week had to buy toilet paper because they told her they didn't have any to give her. i'm incredibly disappointed. the complimentary breakfast was horrible. no juice, no creamer for coffee, no milk, the sausage was literally black and very hard. barely any food. definitely a waste a money and i hope i get that $100 back or i'll dispute the charge with my bank. We would've left the first day but the lady said i wouldn't get my money back.

Not a bad hotel but don't stay there if you're flying international. They won't pick you up at the international arrivals building and make you drag all your luggage through the cold a quarter mile which is basically as far as just walking to the hotel. I told the guy you can literally look it up on GPS and it's right where we are. Then we get picked up and they drive right to where we were!! And turn around and go back to hotel. Disappointed.

One night stay served it's purpose. Room and bed were clean. The breakfast was average (but I didn't come here to eat). Our room faced the inside pool, so the sound echoed. It is a pretty big pool, so on a 80 degree day it was a little steamy when you opened your door. But the AC worked fine in the room. Pool closes at 10pm. Room had a microwave and small refrigerator. Was it the best place I've ever stayed, "No". But, for the little time we spent in the room, it was fine. Showed it's age, but nothing gross. For the price, I would stay here again.

I tried to get into the fitness center, but my key would not work in the door. I called the front desk to make sure it was open, they said yes come and we will give you a new key. I did this twice, and neither of the two new keys would work in the fitness room door either. I think it was locked, and no one would take the time to figure it out. The room smelled like smoke, even though we ask for a non-smoking room. The air conditioner squealed all day and all night. The bed had some odd stains on it (gross), and was very worn. The hotel itself is very old and dated. It might have been a PLUS at some point in time, but at this point it should have the PLUS taken off. This is not the quality I expect when I see the word PLUS behind the words Best Western. Also, the eggs at breakfast were very pale looking, not sure from what they were made. The muffins were stale. This hotel is not close to the ball park, but it is right next to the airport.

This is the worst Best Western I've ever stayed in. As Diamond members we've stayed in BW's across North America and this was 100% the poorest. The hotel smells of stale cigarette smoke, as did our room which was supposed to be non smoking. Everything in the room was damp and musty. The bathroom was in desperate need of updates - the grout was full of mildew and the finish on the tub was coming off. The bathroom floor was dirty and the shower faucet barely worked. The tub was grungy with soap scum and the drain wouldn't hold water. The beds are old and squeaky. Lumpy mattresses and every time one of us rolled over the whole bed shook and squeaked. The lamp shades looked to be stained or had bugs inside them (we couldn't tell). Furniture is old and worn, definitely not the usual BW Plus standard. Halls were noisy, parking lot was noisy with people honking horns and yelling at each other. Someone tried to get into our room at one point, waking us all up. It was the kind of room that just made you feel icky by being in it. I would never ever stay here again and as a loyal BW customer that says a lot. Choose any other airport hotel besides this one. Had we not arrived late into the evening we would absolutely have gone to the front desk and checked out/got a refund to go elsewhere. BW does not live up to its brqnd promise at this location. The only good experience was front desk staff. The lady's name started with Z and she was lovely.

I would have had to leave my house at one in the morning to make my flight. Possibly hitting a deer. Instead I stayed in a nice room and slept in. Took a shuttle to the airport and got through security

I chose this Best Western because I was offered a Flash Sale deal. Before I made my reservation, I read the website info which stated "Be sure to ask our front desk about our free local shuttle so you can experience our city!" When I checked in I learned the website was wrong and the shuttle did not go downtown. Shared rides cost about $20 one way. The Front Desk had no information about public bus service. The personnel were friendly and professional, but not very helpful in this instance. According to the website, a remodel happened. Not sure when. The carpet is a brown pattern that is raised up in the conference suite hallway. This is a very spread out hotel. The one elevator is a long walk from the from desk and is so slow. I also had a problem with the shuttle being late to take me to the airport when I checked out. Overall, I did not have a positive experience and cannot recommend staying here.

Does not offer a 24hr shuttle like the website says! And parking is not free! The ONLY two reasons I booked this hotel. The staff during check in & check out were inconsiderate of my concerns stating at 10pm when I arrived that I could go find somewhere else to stay. I won't be returning and I'm extremely disappointed with my stay.

It def could have been better due to the sink not draining properly so we couldn't use it we requested for it to be fixed several times n was not throughout our 3 day stay , the room was nice n comfy as far as sleeping , breakfast was good

Booked this hotel the group paid a premium because the 120th anniversary part and was booked because it had breakfast, plus a bar and grill which were not open but yet we paid a premium because of it.

I was thoroughly unimpressed with this hotel. There are some upgrades to the decor, but it just looks like someone putting lipstick on a pig. I have serious doubts that they even change the linens in this hotel - we found boogers in one of the beds - gross! The bathroom had some horrific smell, like someone with really bad B.O. had been rubbing themselves on the walls and floor. And then there was the blood splatter on the wall in the bathroom. Was a crime committed in this bathroom? Do we need to call CSI? The beds were so lumpy and and not comfortable at all. Safe to say that I will never stay at this hotel again.

the hotel needs a whole overhaul when it comes to amenities. the hot tub is atrocious! should not allow kids in it and it should be working properly, along with ice machines and of course the tvs. breakfast was basic but need more staff. The only positive is the outstanding customer service provided by Heather at checkin and the pregnant girl at checkout was good also. Management.. get more people like Heather in your breakfast area and get a good mechanic to fix hot tub.

We were in a jam after a snafu with another hotel BW set us up at the Milwaukee Airport at last minute, getting us a room. The BW staff we encountered Catina and Adriana were courteous, friendly and professional and very helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable and specious despite the whole facility looking aged. They even accommodated a late checkout while BW customer services worked out the issue with our other hotel. Thank you BW Milwaukee Airport for helping us out!!!

This place is disgusting and so was the last BW I endured. Done with Best Western forever. Might as well just rest my head and eyes in my car. Dirty towels in bathroom from previous guests? Overwhelming odor from mustiness and then whatever they spray in the room. Bathroom sink drain is useless, must hold toilet handle down for long time for it to flush. Garbage piled in laundry bins sitting in hallway. It's just plain GROSS.

What it says in the title, room had a collapsed floor, moved to another. the ceiling over the pool dripped, the elevator was also terrifyingly busted. The event I was at was there and I would have stayed elsewhere if I had known it was like that. The one saving grace was staff, both front desk and bar/restaurant were great.

Our room was dirty, sheet had stains and hair on them, half gallon of milk left in the refrigerator and the shower had only a soft drizzle. We could not watch CNN without it buffering. It smells really bad in the elevator. Staff was very nice and helpful. I've stayed in other BWP that were amazing in quality but not this location.

I'm been coming to this location for a few years now with my family. We love it. Staff is friendly and helpful. Pool area is always very clean with fresh towels. Miss the hot buffet style breakfast. I wish they add that again.

This is by far the worst hotel experience that I've ever had. The whole hotel had a different smell around every corner. There was a marijuana smell on every floor and nothing was done but spraying some febreeze to try to mask it. It was pungent on every floor! Which is NOT fun to deal with as a pregnant gal. We had family that decided to leave before they even got stuff to their room because it was so bad. The rooms weren't cleaned well. There was makeup on the bathroom door. And crumbs in the corners. They didn't have their normal breakfast the first morning because of a “cook emergency” and couldn't keep up with the breakfast the second day. To the point we left and got breakfast elsewhere both days. The gal that was working breakfast the second day was extremely rude and complained about being there. Will never stay here again and would never recommend it to any others!

It was our last hotel before a 12h flight and it was the worst ! The hotel is old, some parts are dirty, the hotel is noisy and there is no breakfast on a Saturday morning !! They only give you a fruit to eat in your room. We should'nt have stay here if we've known. Really expensive for what they offer.

Guest service was amazing, very friendly and professional. Breakfast was simple yet satisfying. The whirlpool tub was fantastic, pool was clean and not very busy. Easy access to the airport and a great shuttle.

Hotel and room was extremely clean. Employees were very nice and seemed happy. The pool room was extremely nice and clean. I can't think of anything that wasn't good. Would recommend and would stay again.

Breakfast not much to choose from cold food the orange juice was like water. Not much healthy food to choose from. Room was by the staff service area of the hotel. At 4:00 am was woke up by blaring music from staff outside my hotel window. Called the front desk and nothing was done. Continued for about an hour. When we checked out brought it up to the front desk again was just told we will check into it. Was not offered anything or even an apology.

This hotel is very close to the airport and was quiet to stay. Not many toiletries available, so bring your own. The beds were comfortable and breakfast was provided, though there wasn't much choice. No fresh fruit.

We chose this hotel for our early flight time. and shuttle availability. The front desk staff when we checked in was great. We were checked in to the very back of the hotel. There was a bag of charcoal in the door. Had a guy grilling out in the parking lot. I was okay with that. What I became alarmed at was the the bugs in the room. Like I've stated, only an overnight visit. My attitude was just get through it. Until we found bugs. Silverfish, German cockroaches. Some kind of poop behind the refrigerator that was pink and blue. Obviously had been there awhile. A big nope for this property.

I would not recommend staying here. The hotel is out dated and smells of chlorine. The rooms are extremely small and walls are paper thin. We stayed next to a group of girls and I could hear their conversation so clearly. The bathroom was horrendous. We could not get the shower temperature set. The only temperature we could get was burning hot. I tried calling down and there was no answer. Went down to try to get someone and no one was there. The breakfast is a joke. Stay at the Holiday Inn not too far from here. This place was just gross.

Not very satisfied with this stay. Not worth the price they charged for what we received. Room was not clean, bathroom was not clean. Stains on sheets. Flies in bathroom. Hair in drain of bathtub and sink before we arrived. Could hear everything going on in the room next to us. Felt like for that price and quality we could have stayed at a motel for cheaper…

I have been staying in this place over the years when in MKE visiting family because of its location right across the street from the airport. It has really gone down over the years. But the worst of it came this month. I originally booked this stay for 7/29 and 7/30 on hotels.com and I changed the reservation to 8/6. When I checked into the hotel on 8/6, they told me that the hotel charged my card for the full 2 nights because hotels.com didn't let them know that I changed the reservation. I was informed by a rude manager at the front desk that my credit card was charged $432.66 on 8/1/22 for No Show charges. They told me that if I want to dispute this, I should do it with hotels.com because that is who I made the reservation with and it was hotels.com duty to inform the hotel of the reservation change. I was irritated, but I thought, "fine, I will deal with this later". I was also rudely told that I will not be getting a double room, but a king bedroom because they are all sold out. Again, fine. I can manage. But when I got to the hotel room, the pull out couch was tied shut with a random piece of fabric which made it unable to pull out. There was also a bedbug on the couch fabric. I immediately told the family to get their things and we were checking out. I asked the hotel for a full refund due to the bugs and weird pull out bed. They refunded me for that stay and asked me to email a copy of the pic to them. I did and never heard back regarding the other charges. After I left, I called hotels.com, per the front desk instructions, and was told to contact Best Western because they are the ones who charged my credit card. I called Best Western again and was again rudely told that I need to contact hotels.com for the refund. It's clear that both companies are passing the blame and I will never stay here again. I'll be taking it up with my credit card company for a charge back. Save yourself the hassle and avoid this place.

Extremely nice indoor pool. Wonderful jacuzzi in the pool area. Jacuzzi was amazing!!!! Nice indoor pool patio to relax on while taking a break from swimming. Very helpful and friendly staff. Hot breakfast. Excellent location. Huge parking lot. Nice size rooms.

Staff was very helpful, polite, and very efficient, could not have been more impressed! The room had amazing views and the bed was beyond comfortable, clean, and on point. The complimentary breakfast was better than most hotels my husband and I have absolutely no complaints.

My family and I rented five rooms at this hotel we rented this hotel because it was close to the airport but this was a bad idea it was not even a two-star hotel the rooms needed updated the door locks were broken had to change the keys because I could never get in or out of the room they had one elevator for this particular Hotel that was very old and because it was old it was never even to the floor so that means that my wheelchair will get caught in the wheelchair door flooring so people with me will have to help me get my wheelchair on and off that it elevator. I am a person with a walking disability so I use a mobilize wheelchair so they put me on the second floor which was no problem but on the second day there the will elevator was broken and and when I call downstairs to ask was there another way that I could get to the street level cuz we were leaving they told me that he could come and help me get my wheelchair downstairs now if you could explain to me how a person in a wheelchair can help get their wheelchair down the stairs. Because they only clean the rooms every 3 days we had to exchange our dirty towels for clean ones and that means walking to the front desk to get new ones the hallways were dirty the room had hair in the shower and I requested for someone to come and clean the shower again they did not so I went to the store bought cleaner and cleaned the shower myself Need total remodeling kinda old. They got the elevator working and then it broke again. If you can afford to stay somewhere else please do.

no answer when calling to get picked up at airport...took Lyft to hotel, walked past smokers next to front door next to numerous "no smoking" signs. AC not the best. Had to set the thermostat at 60 to get cool although temp was about 70

It's ok. You can stay here. I almost considered canceling the reservation after reading reviews saying the hotel was filthy, but it's fine. To give you a sense of how I think when I evaluate hotels on trip advisor, I have stayed in some really fancy hotels, such as the Sheraton Kauai resort; I was in the Rixos Astana at the same time the president of South Korea was staying there; I stayed in the ITC Maurya in New Delhi, where American presidents like to stay. I've also stayed in plenty of Quality Inns, Roadway Inns, and Econolodges. You have to judge a hotel by what you pay for it. This Best Western was very inexpensive, and it was a great place given that. I'm thinking some of the complaints about cleanliness comes from the fact that the floor by reception has chips (which can look like dirt) and the grout in the bathroom tile has become discolored in a few places. That happens to old grout, and the bathrooms should probably be re-grouted ( I had to do that to my floors at home). The room initially had a dusty smell, but that cleared up after running the a/c for like 3 minutes. Look, dusty smells are common in hotel rooms where the ventilation hasn't been turned on yet. This place has its positives. The staff is insanely friendly. I wish I knew the name of the lady who checked me in, she was so bubbling with friendliness I would like to compliment here to the management. The cleaning staff was still working when I was looking for the ice maker and simply saw I was looking and volunteered directions to the ice machine. And so forth, regarding friendliness. All in all, I was perfectly content here for the price. It's simply not fair to expect the same at a Best Western as a Sheraton, Hilton, or Rixos hotel. It is fair to compare it to other hotels in the price range, and it is a winner in that category.

Came to town for Man City soccer game so 2 night minimum even though I only needed 1 night. Very high event room rate for poor quality hotel. Stay was generally very pleasant. Wi-Fi was slooooooooow and/or nonexistent. Had a large dead in my bed. Shower was dirty and shower head was very low. AC was LOUD

Friendly staff and clean rooms. WE had two rooms and they were close together. Check in and out was quick and easy and parking was awesome. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. DO NOT eat at the Denny's up the street - not a good experience.

While the hotel served the purpose we needed, it's not a hotel I'd run right back to. The room was by the indoor pool, and while people with kids may have found it a dream location, we just found it way too hot. The room itself was pretty standard, just OK. Location was interesting in that you could theoretically walk to the airport. They do have a good shuttle to take you there however. There are some restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was pretty bad. They had a limited choice, and what they had was not topped off when it was gone. The floor of the breakfast room was very sticky and dirty.

Thanks to airline delays I was nine hours late getting to Milwaukee and had no idea where to stay. I found the best Western Plus online and gambled, based on reviews and price. I quite enjoyed my stay. Although not in the greatest neighbourhood, the hotel itself is safe and friendly. I would recommend it.

We make trips to Milwaukee for our daughter who is in College. We stayed at the Best Western Plus Airport. Very Rude morning front desk staff and manager. Room was not clean. Air Conditioner was rattling all night. Bathroom was dirty around the tub. Breakfast closed early. Breakfast person did not put out Fresh food. We arrived at 945a and she was already shutting everything down. Very bad experience.

There were 4 of us and were supplied linen for 2 people for 2 nights. We repeatedly asked for additional towels and linen and were told there was none. There were no towels in the pool area. We asked for an extra blanket and there was none. Four of us had to share 2 bath towels for 2 nights plus use them for swimming. I would not stay here again. Worst Best Western experience ever.

When I 1st entered the room 1st thing I noticed was the garbage can was full then went to the bathroom that was full too also there was a sock in my bed an the pool water there was dirty hair floating everywhere

Hot tub was filled with "yellow and murky" water. Trash containers were overflowing. Hotel staff was uncaring and unresponsive to guest needs. Due to the unsanitary conditions of the hotel, I was deprived of the full amenities that I was entitled.

We were very disappointed with this hotel. The shuttle was dirty and gross. The front desk help was not very informative. The air conditioning did not work and the room was stuffy. The shower did not work. There were so many things that went wrong that when we saw a soggy ceiling tile on the floor in the hall we joked about taking pictures of everything that was wrong with this place.

Stayed here for one night for a gymnastics competition. Should've been $153 with taxes. After being charged over $700 on my debit card and numerous overdrafts, I was finally refunded 5 days later. By my bank. Not to mention, there was a group of loud and obnoxious kids running through the halls until 2 am yelling and screaming with no word from any management or staff. Horrible experience. I will tell anyone and everyone to RUN away fast from this establishment.

This hotel was the worst experience. While checking in, the staff was using profanity in front of my 7 year old. Then we got to our room. The bathroom floor was sticky, the carpet was dirty and the ceiling was dirty, stained and appeared moldy. The pool deck was filthy.

We booked a park sleep fly here and first the parking lot was full of trash. We checked in and the room was absolutely disgusting. The window wouldn't shut, the room was dated and dingy and looked like someone had sat on the bed. The washing machine down the hall was so loud. We immediately got our money back and moved to a better hotel. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

Enjoyed our stay all three nights were absolutely fabulous pool was great hot tub is hot very friendly and helpful staff When we needed anything someone was always there to help even though my children were a little loud no one complained

Since my phone calls are not being returned, I would like to thank the above hotel for not answering the phone Monday night when returned from Mexico. I even called the Best Western 800# and they could not get through. I was traveling alone, and certainly appreciated having to stand outside Milwaukee International Airport in the dark expecting a shuttle. I paid to stay the night at your hotel the night before my departure, and paid your establishment for parking as well. Thank God for Uber. I gave your hotel a chance.

This was a terrible experience and I would not recommend this hotel to others. It started out with having my rooms switched before we even got there (was told I would be first floor poolside, ended up upstairs poolside, not the worst thing). I was told it would be no problem to have ajoining rooms, when I checked in, was told that was not possible. (The woman who checked us in was also pretty rude about it but was clearly overwhelmed, so that's probably why.) I had a group of 9 year olds with me, so that wasn't going to work. As I went to one of my rooms, I noticed the one next to it empty and they were finally able to switch things around and give us that one, instead of the room at the other end of the hall. When we checked in, there was also a sign that said the pool was closed for a private event from 4-6, annoying, but I can get over it. After the very anxious group of girls waited to go in the pool, we were then told at 6pm that the sign up front had been wrong and the pool was now closing until 7:15 for said private event. THEN when we FINALLY were able to swim, the adults couldn't even all sit because we were not allowed to move any chairs. A worker physically came and took chairs away from all of these people who had been waiting HOURS for their kids to be able to swim. All of this and then to deal with the terrible breakfast experience the next day?!

Loud noise from a dryer plus an obnoxious family near me ruined everything. Tried to call front desk to complain, no one answered. Check out clerk was friendly but the people working when I checked in were very rude.

After reading other reviews of guests like myself that have been staying here for years when we fly out for vacation, we'll have to say goodbye and take our business elsewhere. This hotel used to be a great place to stay, had a fabulous restaurant for a hotel, was great to park your car here and be shuttled to and from the airport when you went on a vacation. Not sure what happened to your really cool hotel, but the new excuse of... "we're short staffed" isn't going to cut it anymore. People are sick of hearing it. Covid has been going on for 2 years now. Pony up and pay your staff better, figure out what the problem is, or you're going to keep losing faithful customers like myself. There used to be a great restaurant here with awesome food. Now, it's reduced to a bar that serves a crappy hamburger and fries. You used to be able to charge it to your room bill, as I have the Best Western credit card and get points. Not anymore, the bar is a separate thing now. There used to be a grab and go bag of food for you when your flight left earlier than before the breakfast started. Not anymore, you don't get anything. Your website advertises a shuttle service that starts at 4 am. What they don't tell you is that the shuttle runs not only from the Best Western, but they have to service the 4 points Hotel also. So, the shuttle starts at the 4 points at 4 am and the Best Western at 415. The day we wanted to fly out, all of the shuttles were out of service but one, sooo... the shuttle had to go back and forth between both hotels. We were almost late for our flight, because our shuttle was 35 minutes late. Again.. more apologies and excuses... our shuttles are broken and we are short staffed... buy more shuttles.. hire more people... or tell us that fact ahead of time so we could get an Uber... Your staff also forgot our wake up call and again.. sorry.. we're short staffed. When we checked in, there was a homeless person in the lobby that the staff chased off. It wasn't a concern until we went to go into the side entrance and realized that the doors don't unlock with a key.. they are just open to anyone that wants to come in. Also, the shuttle was absolutely filthy. There was a spilled milkshake on the floor with goo everywhere. It was totally gross. With so many other hotels around the airport that offer a park and fly and free shuttle, we're going to take our business elsewhere.

Both queen beds were broken, the room and bathroom were incredibly dirty. There were even belongings left in the room by assumingly the previous guest. The employee were very kind and apologetic. They said they were very low staffed and having a problem getting supplies.

In town for bucks game. They had nice pool and great breakfast. Rooms were clean and so was hotel. Good area no real noise. They also had a bar and restaurant attached qhich was nice as well. We will stay again

I have been using this location for the past 15 years. Always a clean and friendly place to stay. And the program of park and stay is awesome. Shuttle service to and from the airport is fantastic. Always helpful with bags and safe driving to and from. Fantastic place to stay❤️❤️❤️

My domestic partner and I have stayed here several times in the past six years (six plus for her). It had been a couple years (due to COVID) since the last time we did, and we noticed a degradation in the hotel's condition. This time we stayed here the night before our flight and the night after returning. Room-wise, both rooms door latches have seen better days and don't close as securely as they should, and the ac/heater cover in the first night stay room was partially pulled off the unit. The second night stay room the water for the tub/shower didn't hold a consistent temperature, fluctuating from a bit too hot to a bit too cool despite the control handle position not being changed (thinking the mixing valve is worn out), and I could feel cold air intrusion from around the base of the window frame. Looking at the rest of the hotel, the elevator was broken both nights we stayed (four day gap between both nights), which though inconvenient wasn't major for (both able bodied). Looking closely much of the wall paper is starting to peel, has been marred and/or scratched, and in the pool area you can see where there's increasing water vapor and expansion/contraction damage and rusting around the tops of the support columns and beams along the walkways. Some has been roughly patched and painted over, but a lot not. Similar damage (and missing paneling) can be noticed along the base of the overhead greenhouse dome. The night of the second stay the pool area temp dropped quite noticeably between the time of our check in (after 5pm) and about three hours later. Not sure if that's the cycle the heating system is running on, or it's having issues. Was still quite chilly the next morning as we walked through the area for breakfast. Though there used to be a full hot breakfast at the restaurant (buffet was free with night stay), it's now a free continental due to COVID. Asked the desk staff and they don't know if the hot breakfast will ever come back. The sleep and park ease with the airport nearly and free shuttle service is a real positive. Some renovation work has been done to the facility; the lobby area itself looks quite nice and they've done some work on the room bathrooms to make them look more upscale/modern, as well as more modern room decorations too. When looked at as a whole though, it seems half-hearted, like they're trying for maybe good enough to get by. As my domestic partner stated earlier this morning on our way to breakfast, the hotel has good bones and it's been nice in the past, but really needs some work get it back to where it once was. With other hotels also offering shuttle service, the next time we take a trip and fly out of Milwaukee, we'll check out the other options and give them a try before coming back to this particular Best Western.

Contrary to some of the previous posts, we found our room to be extremely clean and quiet. We were by the pool and, yes, we could smell chlorine, but pools have chlorine in them and it was not unpleasant. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast is more than adequate.

This hotel is really highly inaccessible. One janky elevator that's at the opposite end of hotel from lobby (which is where the carts are located) although I'm sure they have handicap rooms closer, we had to walk a long ways just to get to an elevator. Wasn't able to check in at posted time.

Just opened bar and grill. Awesome service from bartender Fidel. He re-arranged things during the Covid shutdown. Great place for football and some food. Took some popcorn for our flight tomorrow. Lots of lounging areas to socialize. We love this place for early or late MKE flights.

This hotel needs remodeling in the worse way to be viable. There are parts that are nice (pool, though the hot tub was broken, and they did fix it), but we stayed in the pool area rooms. The noise was worse than expected. The room smelled like chlorine. The sink did not drain, the tub had paint peeling off and the soap dispenser mildew. The fridge froze everything we brought and needed to be defrosted. The attached sports bar has been closed for 2 years. Staff is great, and none of this was their fault. Hotel needs TLC badly, we would never stay here again, and definitely the worst Best Western for cleanliness I have stayed in.

The location was great for the areas we planned to visit. There are some fast food places and gas stations nearby open 24 hours, which was nice. The room itself was OK. The carpeting could use a better cleaning, and there was a large patch in the ceiling that was repaired poorly. The bed and the bathroom area were clean which was what was most important to me. While the price for the room was decent, I will probably look for a little nicer place if we travel to Milwaukee in the future.

The hotel stuff was exceedingly helpful, polite, and professional. The breakfast lounge was clean and beet. Under the ongoing Covid situation, the staff went out of their way to provide services and be accommodating. The front desk/check-in staff was always pleasant, helpful, and fast. When faced with a conflict, hotel management was very gracious, Professional, and helpful. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

This Hotel has the BEST customer service I have ever had! From Candace at check in to Jason at breakfast! The complimentary breakfast is continually stocked and good! The staff literally delivered a microwave (just in case we didn't have one) to our room so my boyfriend could sleep in and still eat free breakfast. There are microwaves in the rooms for future reference. The front desk gave us Uber coupons and helped us explore their city! The rooms are clean, the fridge is cold! But honestly the friendly, willing to go above and beyond staff made this trip!

Hotel offered an airport shuttle which was great. What wasn't great was having to walk a mile and needing a map to get to my room. It was very humid walking past the pool. Not good for someone with asthma.

It looks like they are working on improving the hotel and I hope they continue. The pool looks nice. Bar was closed, which was a bummer. There's only one elevator and it's towards the far end of the hotel - so if you have trouble with stairs you will want to be sure you are on the first floor or near that elevator. We also had some trouble with the hotel room doors. But through the issues the staff worked to make things right. Very much appreciated their dedication.

Great location for the airport and getting into town. Unforunately, this hotel does not give out gift cards like the Best Western website suggests. Also could not use my "free" night at this place. The hotel is a little dated. Also you might no want to get a room near the pool as it is very humid and may have parties going on until 10 PM

I like Best Western hotels and we'll always stay in one if one is available close to where I am. This however was very disappointing there was hair all over the shower wall the baseboards in the bathroom were filthy not just dirty filthy. They offered only grab and go items like orange juice honey buns Little peach cups and granola bars now I have been in a hotel during the covid crisis and they were able to offer a safe alternative hot breakfast not quite sure why this Best Western couldn't. I was given one room went to that room opened the door and the beds were not even made went back to the desk she was very gracious but really come on

Internet was shotty even when we were given a password. Front desk staff thought highly of herself but in fact was the main issue for us. 3 kids excited for a pool and she saw that. And even when we asked for an update, was not given one. I had 3 bummed little guys.

Saw this: Complimentary full breakfast, American breakfast buffet....only to find out once there it's a Bag Grab-and-go. Covid has not made things easy, but failing to remove a quality service from online advertising ruined this experience.

The rooms have a sheer blind on them with no blinds. People can see into the room when the lights are on and there is no way to black out the lights of the hallway. You can see out into the hallway through the blind. Not safe for a single woman traveler. The room was supposedly non-smoking, but smells like a smoking room that has tried to cover up the smell of smoke. Since the rooms boarder the pool area there is a lot of noise in the rooms. Not great when you're staying for an early flight. The bathroom was dirty. Hair all over the floor and stuff smeared on the walls. Pillows are terrible. There was an advertised 24-hour shuttle. It's not. It starts at 4 am. Additionally, I booked knowing I was getting park and fly. Once I got here that was an additional charge. Front desk staff was lovely. The room is a total disappointment, especially for the price. It seems incredibly over priced for the quality. I will definitely pay more to stay further away.

It is good to see the hotel returning to its full services. The pool was open and wonderful. The rooms were very clean and the staff as friendly as ever! I was able to use the internet without interruption and get my work done. Love this hotel! I will be back for sure.

I stayed one night at this hotel during a business trip. It is across the street from the airport but I didn't notice any exterior noise during the night. The restaurant that is attached to the hotel is closed, however, the front desk staff suggested a close by restaurant (within walking distance) that was EXCELLENT! The room was quiet and secure. This is an older hotel with rather dark hallways but it still seemed safe.

Older place. Room clean. Staff friendly. No hair dryer in room. We came from airport at midnight and stayed just that night. Very close to airport. Not a great hotel but fit the bill for laying our heads for one night. Room quiet. Fan in bathroom lame. We were told about “grab and go” breakfast. Didn't see any food out in the morning. We skipped it and proceeded on.

Our room felt like it was in Egypt from everything! Check-in in late. Pleasant and quick process. I mean its nothing to write home about but it was decent and super closer to the airport! The holidome looked pretty cool. Smaller than most tho.

Pool closed. Jacuzzi closed. Fitness center closed. Bar closed. Restaurant closed. Supposedly due to staff shortage supposedly due covid. Pay your on the ground working staff a better salary and they'll be back as well as new staff. Raise salaries instead of blaming the government. Decor dated. Hallways dirty. Atrium area dirty and full of dead leaves. Get it together! Other hotels/motels have including other Best Western hotels. Been there. Know firsthand.

Definitely recommend best western! After a long day at work and not being able to go home because of a water problem Donovon was so much help! Very nice, professional and accommodating. My stay was awesome! Front desk staff went above and beyond for my family and I!

Come to stay for the night with my family and have a good birthday weekend. Check in was easy and friendly. Breakfast was explained. Went to swim. Closed. Every other hotel we have visited has been open and accurate on the website. This would have nice to know prior to check in or reservation made. We have stayed here prior with no issues but this one left a bad mark.

Don't stay at this property. It is unsafe. The front desk staff is unprofessional. The doors to the room and inside are jammed, they put you in the back of the hotel. The hotel is filthy and scary. If you are looking for somewhere close to the airport don't choose this one. You will regret it.

I got the whirlpool suite. The main doors bolt didn't work. There was broken towel hooks. The pool was closed due to covid, understandable, but there were leaves in the pool area and in the general walkways. There was so much bagged garbage outside of the rooms. The front desk staff didn't give us directions how to get to our room. There was no breakfast of any sort. Other than that, it was clean and quiet. But not worth the $200+ we paid for one night.

Upon arrival we were asked to check in late because our room was not ready upon getting to our room we discovered that the toilet was broken the blind was broken and there were no lightbulbs in the lamps the breakfast was false advertise as modified it was cheaply put together warm orange juice and a muffin not offering any type of main course very cheaply put together for a brand in Hotel

Staff was extremely hospitable, hotel was clean, it felt almost like home. Very quiet, comfortable bed and pillows. Beautiful interior and looking forward to returning when the pool and jacuzzi is available.

I am extremely dissatisfied with this stay. Considering the hotel was about 5% occupied there is no excuse for not having toilet paper, dirty blankets, no extra blankets when asked, a previous guests coffee pod left in machine, garbage in can and a shower faucet that doesn't work. No lids for coffee and when I poured the cream it was chunky. I tried to ask questions and address my concerns with the morning gentleman at check out. He could not be bothered to even stand up to talk to me or get off his phone. Completely unacceptable all around.

I was trying to think of something that would make this a two-star review, but there really wasn't a thing good about staying here. Had I read the reviews, I wouldn't have booked here, but when I booked it I thought we might need to take a shuttle or walk to the airport. There is at least one hotel just south of here that would have been much nicer. It truly felt like they took one of those abandoned hotels you see people film on YouTube and opened it up without approval. First, we get to the front door, and it is locked (we were there at about 7pm, not like we were there in the middle of the night). I had a moment of wondering what to do, but the front desk clerk came over and opened it without explanation. The same thing happened in the morning, and a different employee mumbled something about hopefully this wouldn't last much longer. I don't know if it was for the protests, which made no sense, or if the door was broken, but a sign would have been nice and made it so I didn't feel like I was staying in the bad part of town. After check-in, we walked through the center pool area/atrium, and this is where I felt like we were in an abandoned place. Leaves were all over the floor, the pool was green, and it just looked old and unmaintained. Yes, the pool was closed for coronavirus, but you still should be maintaining it. Then the room. A number of things were broken, it smelled, and it wasn't clean. I'm attaching a picture, which I'm not sure I've ever done for a review, because it amazed me they would rent out a room like this. The floor was also wet throughout the bathroom and back side of the room near the bathroom. The walls were thin, and with what was going on outside, we didn't feel safe inside the room. I have stayed at hotels like this in the past, but never with the Best Western name. I don't expect excellence from Best Western, but I do expect acceptable. It's not like we even got a good price on it. It's time to fire management or sell the hotel, gut it, and remodel. This hotel is in a good location, has decent structure, and could be a good hotel if someone cared about it.

I booked three rooms for my crew. The rooms that were confirmed in my reservation were rooms with two beds. When we showed up our rooms were switched to one bed kings. They had a few extra king rooms left but no queen rooms. I was told that i would get a good price on the extra rooms that i now had to get. It worked out to be significantly more than the original reservation. As a platinum Best Western member i wouldn't have thought that this would have happened.

Just a brief overnight stay and did the park and fly. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet. We did not use the pool but the pool area looked really nice and well kept. There is no bar or restaurant on site but I believe they have a free shuttle to the Four Points Sheraton down the block. We took the 4 a.m. free airport shuttle and the bagged grab and go breakfast was just right. I have to mention our shuttle driver on that morning. She drove us to the terminal and as we were leaving the van I realized that I had forgotten an expensive custom made tumbler in their lobby. I asked her to please set set my cup aside till we returned and she said oh I'll get it, I'll be right back. She was back in under 5 minutes with it. Totally appreciate her graciousness! Many thanks!! That's how you earn return customers. Thank you!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Very quiet rooms. Great beds. Clean rooms. Nice pool and fitness center. Was here for business. Conferance room nice. Gave me choices of restaurants that delivered. Thank you for a relaxing stay.

We stay at this hotel every year because they offer a stay and park deal for those leaving on vacation. We would always have our evening meal and some adult beverages in the Aviator bar/restaurant. The bar/restaurant is now permanently closed. That means no food or beverages are offered at this location. The other glaring issue we had was we requested a wake-up call so we could board our airport shuttle bus at the selected time. We never received our wake-up call! Thankfully, I set the alarm on my phone as a fail safe measure! We will avoid staying the this hotel for any future travels in the future.

Close to the airport, newly renovated hotel with a fantastic friendly staff and great breakfast! The pool was amazing - I felt like vacation started a day early! Parking on site and complimentary as the shuttle to the airport was effortless!

Beds too soft, food cold and over cooked, not worth the money, poor customer service, mildew in the shower area. We stayed 2 nights and the garbage/room was not taken care of after first night. Most employees looked like they couldn't wait for their shift to be over. No one smiled. Not friendly.

my husband and I stayed here for Valentine's day weekend. let me say the bed was old and uncomfortable. it was noisy because its my the airport. water had too much chlorine and too many people there. I should have stayed at the residence inn..that's one of my favorites. I didn't take any pictures because it reminds me of a motel. not a hotel

The hotel environment was clean and the employees were friendly. The only thing they were not willing to add additional transfers from the hotel to the airport for our departure. We had to leave for the airport an hour before we wanted.

I was a bit surprised that this hotel is now charging for parking. This wasn't mentioned when I booked or when I filled out the Express Check-In questionnaire. Other than that everything was very good. Great shuttle drivers *****.

We chose this hotel because it is close to the airport and they offered park-and-fly. Check-in and check-out was super easy. The front desk team was friendly and helpful. The shuttle was probably a two-minute ride. Since we left early in the morning before the continental breakfast, they still had fruit, juice, and bars out for us to take with us. We will definitely stay again next time we travel.

Friendly staff. The hotel is large with a swimming pool and jacuzzi area. Breakfast is quite nice, there is a waffle machine. Worked out quite well for a quick overnight stay. Parking can be a bit tight.

Everything was great. The only "negatives" were that the wifi was spotty sometimes and the decor of the place just seemed kind of dark and old at times. It was fine, but it just seemed to generic looking. Food was good, pool was nice (not that I used it), but good experience.

We stayed here from 12/28 to 1/1. Although the hotel looks kept up pretty well, they miss a lot of other things. For instance, crumbs in the hallways for days not cleaned, a can of Squirt on the rail in front of our room from 12/28 until after we left. Room was not cleaned one day, window shade chain broke and never fixed even though reported, noisy doors slamming during the night, smell of cannabis burning in hallway, internet down most of our stay and bad breakfast two out of four mornings.

The best employees I've come across in a long time. Airport pick up was under 5 minutes and so friendly and helpful. Front desk speedy and efficient. All at 1am. Changing channels on the old remote was difficult, but was my only issue. Great stay.

We had a bad experience last time we stayed here. We thought we would give it another try. This time was a wonderful experience. The shuttle to and from the airport was fast. This experience will have us coming back.

My experience at Best Western was excellent. The front desk employees treated me like I knew them for years. They were so friendly, professional. The pool and hot tub was really nice,the bed was comfortable. The only downfall was no animals at the location I stayed at. I will be staying at Best Western eveytime I travel.

We have stayed here on occasion, sometimes as a Park & Fly, and most recently Christmas Eve when visiting family. We were disappointed that the attached bar and restaurant had been closed down! I realize it had light traffic, but was nice to settle in to the room and not have to drive somewhere for a drink/dinner. It has a fireplace and nice ambiance, and complimentary buffet breakfast was served here. The pool/hot tub atrium area is very spacious with live trees enhancing the area. The rooms are comfortable, but need refurbishing/refreshing. The pillows were literally BALLS of fluff, which could not be flattened enough to sleep on comfortably for me. The front desk staff were friendly, and called about an hour after we had settled in to be sure we didn't require anything. I WOULD stay here again because of the swimming pool, which my husband enjoys but not happy about the bar/restaurant closing.

Had a bachelorette party with a bunch of girls . Worked out perfectly . Very clean and front desk was very helpful on certain destinations we were going out to. Stayed here before and will always return to this one.

This Bs=est Western is very convienent due to its location being near the airport and the freeway. It's a great 'jumping off' place to anywhere in the area. The room was fine, as were the amenities. the service was good, however, the place needs new carpeting.

Stayed here when in town for a birthday party, dont think I would stay again. good morning breakfast buffet with a fireplace which made it cozy. room nothing fancy, pretty generic hotel. plenty of parking and right across from airport

Great all the way around with the exception of the room sour smell. I would definitely stay again. I have nothing but high regard for the hotel, staff, and service. Not to mention the ease of price matching.

5 min to airport, reasonably priced for park and fly, bar on premise. Good restaraunts close by. Shuttle driver was nice. We visited the Packing House just down the road for dinner and that outstanding! Pool area great as well. Only thing I did not enjoy eas their giant pillows that were like sleeping on logs!

Our stay was wonderful the staff were very friendly and helpful, the young woman who was checking me in was polite and did exactly as I asked and placed my family away from other guests as my son is 6 months old and can cry quite loudly when he is upset. We enjoyed our stay, the only thing we weren't totally satisfied with was the temperature of the hot tub wasn't actually hot, it was closer to Luke warm.

When we arrived in our room, we pulled the bedding down and the sheets were disgusting. Fresh stains everywhere. We called to get our bedding changed and we're told they could not enter our room and made us change the sheets ourselves. I have never been so disgusted in my life. Complete sh**hole

The hotel is right next to the airport, and has several dining options within walking distance. Close to long-term parking facilities, too. Ample parking onsite. Those were the main reasons I chose this hotel, along with price, of course.

Great customer service from the front desk they were very helpful!! Room was very large plenty of room to move around. Convenient to the airport the shuttle was right on time at 3:30 AM. Pool very nice and warm. Only problem I had was the door slammed coming into the hotel and woke me up so don't be by an entrance door if you have a 5:30 am flight. I will definitely stay again when I am in the area.

Front desk employees not very knowledgeable. Check in took about an hour. The room was ok but could hear the guest above me walk around. The location was perfect for me. Check out at 2:30 am was very good.

My favorite BW. Atrium and Pool area a super plus. Breakfast and Breakfast lounge with Padded Table and Chairs or Booths and Fireplace very spacious and relaxing. Anytime during breakfast hours is a perfect time for breakfast. Very well organized and accommodating staff. Only issue - Hot Tub needs to be resurfaced.

Checked me into a dirty room, so I went to have dinner while they cleaned it. Came back An hour later to find room still not cleaned. Took forever to switch me to a new room. Restaurant and bar closed on Sunday, so dining options meant a long walk across busy roads. I'll make other arrangements next time

The hotel went out of their way to make my daughter's wedding weekend so special. From the front reception desk to the catering event coordinator. They made everything so special for my daughter's post rehearsal party and post wedding party. The lounge was a great place for family and friends to gather.

Right across the street from the airport. Our room was second floor, remodeled, very clean and very quiet being so close to the airport.! The beds were 2 full size, wish they were queen. Safe, frig and microwave in room. Windows with blackout blinds. The king suites looked awesome-next time! Loved the tropical feel pool area! Pool is huge! Hot tub was drained and being cleaned, which was a bit disappointing but needs to be done. The front desk was very professional and friendly. The breakfast was a warm breakfast with choices. Will stay here again when we fly.

I contacted the Front Desk via phone within 2 hrs of my early morning departure. He confirmed to me he would have housekeeping retrieve the luggage immediately and he asked me if he could use my BW charge card on file to pay for the return shipping. He stated that my room would not have been cleaned or rented out at the time of my call. He told me he would call me back later in the day to confirm all had been done. I never heard back from him, and I had to contact the hotel daily for a status. Every time, same story -- we'll check and have Housekeeping call me. This did not happen for each of 4 days when I called for status. Finally after 5 days and a call to the GM, I got a call back from someone in housekeeping I guess stating they did not find my luggage. Totally unacceptable in every facet and behavior.

Great place to stay. Went on a trip for 7 days and was able to leave my car parked at the hotel. We had to leave prior to breakfast but were given a bag breakfast which was very thoughtful because we didn't have time to eat for the next 4 hours. The staff was very helpful and we also were shuttled to and from the airport back to our car, only waited for the shuttle 5 minutes after our call. Great place and I'll stay here for any future trips.

Apparently condoms come with the executive king suite rooms here (FOUND BY OUR YOUNG CHILDREN)! Nothing but an apology from front desk staff. We travel a lot and were really disappointed. It spoke to the general cleanliness of the room and hotel. This hotel looks nice in pictures. Don't be deceived. It's actually an old hotel that was not renovated well. Doors hardly open and close, gaps in the trim, etc. Generally an old appearance with some newer updates. Pool bottom was also really dirty. The breakfast was good and wait staff was nice.

We stay at this hotel whenever we are getting away for vacations. Park and fly is great. Breakfast before the flight is really nice. Grandkids love the pool. Resturant has good food at good prices. Staff is what brings us back. Service and friendliness.

The front desk staff and housekeeping were great! The first room I was given had a hole in the ceiling and come to find out was supposed to be unoccupied. The front desk brought me my new keys and helped me move rooms. The second room had a dirty washcloth in the shower but at that point I figured I'd just deal with it. I was there on business and wasn't able to change hotels since it was booked through my company. I had a family emergency and when my family couldn't get in touch they called the front desk to relay the message to me and I'm so grateful they did!

Let me just start by saying I liked the place the first night. The next day we left early and came back around 2pm. Our room had not been serviced and we wanted to sleep so we put the do not disturb up. No big deal... that night as we came back from a late dinner we saw a group of 7-8 people going into the room next door. 10pm came and went we called the front desk and I guess others had complained because they sent a very assertive woman to talk to them. I heard everything through the door. They finally turned off the music and were quiet for about a half hour then started talking loudly and at midnight I called back down and the same woman came back and got rid of two of the party goers. The room had quieted down but I was already out of a good nights sleep. They should of all been thrown out the 2nd time. I talked to the front desk the next day and told them what happened and that they were told they would be thrown out the next time as promised by the assertive lady. Also I asked that my room be a priority because it didn't get cleaned the day before. They assured me all of this would happen. I came back a little before 4pm and they had just started the room. That night the party goers were back loud enough to ruin my sleep but not loud enough to call the front desk. We were not given any kind of compensation for this misery because they said we booked it through a third party. It is your business you can do what you want. Also upon arrival my wife told them we needed a quiet room and we were told this was a quiet area. Just a disappointment overall.

I do not recommend this hotel, location ok but set up of hotel terrible, rooms old, odor, carpet dirty, bathroom door needs replaced, walking distance for coffee and breakfast very far, noise from other guess through walls and ceiling.

The minute we entered the property I could tell they had a musty/mildew problem. When we entered our room the mold smell smacked you in the face. I had an asthma attack and spent the entire night with a sore throat and an extremely runny nose. (I have been medically diagnosed as being very allergic to mold.) It was miserable and I will NEVER be staying there again.

Nice pool area and complimentary breakfast, very close to airport. Staff was helpful and accomodating. Close to nice Mexican restaurant. Breakfast was very nice and the staff that morning was so polite and seemed like they really liked their job.

This hotel is in the process of undergoing a much needed remodeling. Our room was clean and acceptable, but not special. The breakfast buffet was a little more extensive than most and the food good but not great. There is an on property bar which we did not check out. This a a very large, rambling building and it is very confusing to get around in it. I think it is set up to hold conferences/conventions. We did not use the pool or hot tub. Walking by I thought this area could have been cleaner. The decor in the hallways which I assume is going, is a bit Twilight Zone. I found the front desk staff a bit brusque, but not rude. If I were to go back to Milwaukee I would probably look for a different hotel.

This hotel is not customer oriented, but oriented around convenience of staff and management. Large sprawling building difficult for the mobility challenged. During a several night stay, the key cards failed every day, necessitating long hikes to front desk. The room hotel book describes location of vending machines, but after long hikes, found none where they were supposed to be. We drove to store to get water. The hallways are not air-conditioned, so those long hikes very unpleasant. Polite complaints result in rude responses. The room itself was just ok. Very noisy AC. Dirty corners and torn carpet. We prepaid with no refunds, otherwise would have gone elsewhere after the first night. The pool area was nice.But you have to wear uncomfortable wrist bands to enter, and you are told sternly upon check-in that if you lose them, they WILL NOT be replaced! Sorry, to leave negative review, but be warned. Will never stay here again.

Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Breakfast buffet had a wide variety of choices. Bar area was unique in a good way. As we were traveling to a family funeral, we didn't have time to take in any other amenities

The Staff is friendly and the property is convenient to the airport, but hotel is a disappointment. In need of updates and renovation. If you are on a budget it is can be an option. The property overall is old and outdated.

We stayed here for three nights during the summer. The air conditioning worked great, the breakfast is very good, and the beds are comfortable. We were not in the hotel during the day, so we wanted someplace near the ballpark and near the freeway. We did not use the pool, but the pool area was nice with live trees in the atrium area. What really impressed me was the wide variety of food served for breakfast, and the area is kept very clean by two people who kept the food refilled and bused dishes, They were friendly and very efficient. We would stay here again.

This is a very large and older property. Overall maintained and freshly painted, bot the doors are old and there was little decorative pieces in our suite. The pool and breakfast areas were nice, the parking lot needs some attention. We enjoyed the friendly and professional staff.

My wife and stayed overnight this past Wednesday. We were in town to attend the State Fair. The room itself was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was very spacious and well decorated. Very good water pressure in the shower(pet peeve of mine)!! Loved the indoor pool and jacuzzi! The buffet breakfast was very good. The staff at a hotel can make a huge difference when it comes to the overall experience of your stay and I must say your staff is excellent. I must compliment Juan in the breakfast buffet, very polite and watched him bend over backwards to accommodate a difficult patron at the table next to ours. Istefany was pleasant and did a good job. Jack the bartender in your lounge was very nice and a great personality. Overall this is an older hotel and does show its wear in areas ie. hallway carpets, but this will be pur go to when we are in Milwaukee to attend events!

Our stay was very nice with clean rooms and good breakfast. The pool and hot tub are amazing. (Although it's so nice several women were live streaming from the area which was awkward.) Everything seemed like a long walk, which we didn't expect.

For $84 you get what you pay for. It was fine for our business trip. The room was clean, beds comfortable. The hallways are very hot and humid, even the ones not near the pool. Breakfast was better than most places and Margarita and Leslie who ran the buffet were extremely pleasant and kept it clean. Disappointed that the restaurant isn't opened on Sundays. Dominos pizza close by with fast delivery we learned. The hotel is confusing to navigate. Met many people walking with suitcases that couldn't find their room or their way back to their room after breakfast. Maybe they could give a hotel map upon check in? Just an idea. Again, it's only $84 per night including breakfast. Was certainly worth the price. Staff were all pleasant.

Shower had severe mildew and hair clumps on floor. Only option (since they were allegedly booked) was to have a porter come clean the shower for less than 10 minutes. Bed sheets had tiny holes and strands of hair! They refused to change the sheets for me and instead gave me a set of queen size sheets (I had a king size bed) for me to change the sheets on the bed myself. Never stay here!!!

This was my 3rd stay here over the past few years. It's not a fancy place, or a super clean one, but the breakfast is good and the staff on my first two visits were beyond friendly and accommodating. This time was my last time staying here. There were random hairs throughout our room, we saw a French toast stick on the stairs in the morning on our way out for the day, and it was still there when we returned that evening. It's in the main stairwell off the lobby, I can't imagine how many of their staff members have walked past it during the day. I'm guessing it will be there in the morning when we go down stairs. This evening we pulled the bedding down, ready for a good night's rest and found a crunchy looking black bug scurrying about in the bed. I caught the critter and took him to the front desk. Found out it's "just a beetle". None of the three employees seemed to care or think it a big deal that we found a bug in our bed. They offered us new bedding, which seemed to take forever to get, then we got a thick winter blanket, it's July. I clarified that we need an entire set of fresh bedding. Finally have replacement linens and we're ready to settle down. I can't imagine we'll get much sleep wondering what else might be sharing our room. You might save a couple dollars staying here, not much though, so I recommend looking elsewhere. Oh, they are giving me 7,000 points on my best western rewards card...

Very nice hotel overall. Needs some tweaking. Room by the pool was like walking out into a sauna and very loud from the kids yelling. Room was OK but I will say the free breakfast was outstanding! Felt like being in a restaurant! Ladies brought silverware and condiments, cleaned your plates away, and were very accommodating. Would probably stay again.

This hotel is fine for getting you near the airport. The pool is decent and the staff is nice and responsive. Our bathroom was super gross upon arrival, but they did get it cleaned up for us (sort of off-putting though). The restaurant is not worth the cost so might suggest getting your meals elsewhere. All that being said it is an average, to be expected stay and gets the job done if you want to be near the airport.

Overall the room was nice with good decor. The functionality of both the bathroom and entry door were questionable. Entry door did not always close tight and could be opened. Conversely, bathroom door could close completely.

Stayed here to attend a local concert the room was very clean and the hotel is excellent. However, we came back late from our concert and the parking lot was not the safest, people were hanging out drinking and even got propositioned so be careful didn't see any security whatsoever

This is by far the worst place I've ever started. It rained last night... Water poured in through or window. Mattress had a permanent indention in it because it's probably 10 years old or more. Extremely dated decor on the inside. If you're paying less $100 a night maybe but for what I paid?? $149 per... really? You got me once but never again. I should have paid a buck or two more and stayed elsewhere.

So far ... poor service and fear I will not be sitting in a hot tub. Not sure if it's coincidence (2 best western hot tubs) or it's just best western but the hot tub does not work. A tub filled with him luke warm water with a tiny jet pressure is just a tub. Best western Davenport, IA was the same way and they did not fix it after they said they would. They even really didnt acknowledge it didn't work. It was like they almost had to stop from laughing because they knew it didn't and they knew it could t be fixed. The 8 eight other people, not associated with us checking out the hot tub here in Milwaukee last night and us were all talking about it next to the hot tub after getting out from feeling cold. No one called it in ! Everyone said they would report it. I just informed front desk here in Milwaukee now and they also act as though they've never heard of it before. We will see do they fix it, can it be fixed ? I will repost another review if the service here changed for the better or worse. For a tired mother's sake whose back hurts and all I want us 10 min in a hot tub, it brings the hotel in my mind down from 9 or 10 to a 1 or 2. In Davenport they said they were working on it. No one worked on it and it never changed. It's was a joke. Why not just shut it down? Because you like people getting in and then realizing to their dismay it's cold? Messed up. Hopefully Milwaukee best western is not running the same hot tub scam. Not to mention we have a certificate for here from here for the hot tub not working and the pool being out 2 yrs ago. This will be my last stay at a best western if this is truly going to be the extent of my experience. Hopefully that won't be the case. I've asked they call when it's “fixed”

Super close to Milwaukee Airport, with fast dependable Shuttle! Would work well for family reunions with fly-ins. Nice pool area, breakfast etc. Also has a nice little bar and restaurant right in the building! which is wonderful! Large conference rooms, workout area, free newspapers etc.

A very dated hotel! Needs updating, lots of updating. Breakfast is passable. We had requested another night due to a conflict with our travel, it was approved, only to be told the following day that they were at full occupancy and we had to leave. Needless to say, the hotel manager was unapologetic. We had to return to the room, pack our belongings and find another location. Our entire day was ruined. Unless you are in dire straits like we were, find another hotel.

There are a bunch of pros and cons for this hotel, but in spite of the cons, I actually did like staying here. It is obviously popular with the conference and wedding groups, for the place was "rocking!" It was great people-watching! Pros: Great for children with its pool and a movie theater which plays children's movies on Friday and Saturday night Outstanding breakfast, but be sure to look for your coupons in the key folder they give you. The meal costs $12.95 if you don't turn over a coupon. You're supposed to turn the coupons in as you enter the breakfast area. (Because we had two keys and only used one, I didn't see the coupons until after breakfast. I explained it as I was getting ready to check out, and the front desk did not charge us. I gave the coupons to her.) Fantastic location near the airport. It is literally a hop-skip-and jump away! Friendly staff. We were welcomed warmly and checked in quickly. I was told where to park to make entering and exiting the hotel easier. I left my computer cable behind, and Denise in housekeeping was very helpful. Nice, large room with the air conditioner across the room instead of the usual next to the bed (and blowing air on you all night.) The bed was comfortable and the pillows great. Adequate parking. Cons: The room had not been well cleaned. There were two Q-tips in one trash can and a person's hair left by the tub. The hotel itself is showing its age, especially with the carpeting. Having said that, there is a design board posted off the lobby which indicates that renovations are being planned. The layout is confusing, and getting to our room took a bit of navigating. Once we got the lay of the land, it became easier.

If you are persistent with your stay, it's an awsome hotel. Dirty towels left in room, lack of pool towels, cleaning pool with no signs about it, 2 hour wait to have toilet fixed, etc. Fixed with persistence.

This was the most terrible service EVER! Paying about $300 for a room and then being denied hospitality from the staff member that was working during the time. I booked this hotel the night before and was aware of the "no cancellation/non-refundable" policy and the "24-hour front desk: You can arrive anytime you want – your room will be ready at 3:00 PM." What I don't understand is that once I arrived to check in for my room at 3AM, I was told that my room was cancelled... I did not receive any cancellation notice or phone call at all to notify me any of this information. Hence the "you can arrive anytime you want- your room will be ready at 3:00PM." Why was my room canceled I had asked, and the staff member just simply said, "check-in was at 3PM and now it is 3AM." I paid for the hotel room and they still canceled my room without any notification. After that, I asked if there were any rooms available and the staff member goes on asking for my ID and address. I stated my "temporary" address in Milwaukee and she went on saying that they don't book hotels for any customers who's within a 30 miles radius. Well, that would be good information to know, especially if customers are booking your hotels through third-parties websites including Booking.com. They have ZERO information on that on Booking.com and only on their personal website. Being told this information at the time, I went on to tell the staff member that I'm not from Milwaukee but am only here temporarily for work. However, my permanent address, as shown on my Driver's License and acts as an OFFICIAL ID, states that I live and my address is in Sheboygan, WI well beyond the 30 miles radius. The staff member goes on and denies my stay at the hotel. I then ask if my significant other can come in and book it through his name because he's from Sheboygan as well, and the staff member still denied my friends and I saying that it's not allowed. Why isn't it allowed? This was the most pathetic service ever and I have never felt so discriminated!!!! I will definitely be disputing the charge on my credit card as I was DENIED SERVICE and not because I cancelled or didn't show up.

We stayed with a large group for a baseball tournament. Our biggest issue was that several of our rooms were not cleaned due to a large wedding that staff was preparing for. We had to beg for towels at the desk at 9 p.m. in order to get the boys showered for baseball. The shower temperature was awful, running from hot to cold and back again. Our toilet didn't flush well, and wasn't secure to the floor. The hallways past the main lobby were not air conditioned. However, the breakfast was above average, and the maintenance guy was helpful. I requested a call from the manager after our room still wasn't cleaned with two requests. Got a letter of apology the following morning, no phone call.

Upon unpacking for a week long business trip, I realized the bathroom floor was wet. I cleaned the puddle with two bath towels and went to the front desk. The clerk assured me the repairs would be made while I was at work. I cleaned the floor daily. Housekeeping did not clean my room daily. There were hairs in the bathroom and toenails on the floor in main room. The walls and doors are thin. The hotel is noisy. The restaurant served adequate food, quite good really. The breakfast buffet is above average. The parking lot has many potholes. The hotel has many entrances, which is convenient. After years of not staying in Best Westerns, I thought I would try the rebranded efforts. I am not impressed.

This was a really nice hotel. Excellent pool. Generous rooms, clean. There are a lot of entrances so you never had to park to far away from your room. Breakfast was great, very clean, a lot of hot choices, fresh fruit and very attentive staff

Hands down the dirtiest hotel I have ever experienced I found clear evidence of bed bugs I'm mad that I was exposed to this I left and found the nearest laundry to wash my belongings on the hottest setting No one cares at this hotel Take some pride in what you do !

Never would have picked this for myself but came to a conference and was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are roomy, clean, nicely appointed, large pool and separate whirlpool. Conference accommodations and staff were also very comfortable and accommodating. Would definitely come back if I wanted to stay near the airport. Having the Aviator Sports Bar was a real plus! The Bartended, Jack, was so personable and accommodating, also! See my separate rave about the food!

Accommodations were very good; some noise around pool area & children were sometimes annoying (parents too busy partying!). Need better directions to & from hotel (this may be a non-issue once road construction is completed). Staff EXCELLENT!

Me my boyfriend and a couple friends arrived at this hotel at about 3. We checked in and headed to our room, no problem. I took a shower and noticed a couple hairs in the shower. No big deal, they missed one spot, whatever. Afterwards I moved the pillow on the bed and sure enough found 2 stains AND a hair that was underneath the top sheet. This is alarming to me as I had already found hair in the shower as well. We were just grossed out. At about 4 I wandered down to talk to the front desk and either get a refund or a new room or even the room cleaned over again. When I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager, not one was at the at the actual location of the hotel. I told the girl at her front desk our problem and asked about a refund and we would just leave and stay elsewhere. She called her manager who told her that we were only able to receive half of our money back since we had been there AN HOUR. I was not going to be paying 100 dollars for an hour in a hotel room. After some conversation and the girl at the front desk calling her manager a second time, we were able to get our money back fully. They never offered to clean our room over again and said that all other rooms were taken for the night. Not impressed with the cleanliness of the supervisor for giving us a hard time about the situation.

The hotel is a very good place to stay in Milwaukee. Close to the airport plus close to shopping. i will say that the elevators are small and the out side of hotel is in need of a makeover such as new paint and re-paving of the parking lot. However overall it fulfilled my needs.

This hotel is super conveniently close to the airport. Our room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was large, well lit and sparkling clean. It was a very pleasant and restful stop before an early flight the next day. The shuttle driver was polite and pleasant at 4 AM! I would stay at this hotel again without hesitation and hopefully next time would be able to enjoy breakfast. The hotel graciously provided coffee and "to go" bags for the super early travelers.

Clean rooms and pool. Good selection of complimentary breakfast foods. Kids thought the breakfast buffet and pizza was delicious. Margarita gave friendly and helpful service at our breakfast. Her service exceeded expectations.

I stayed at this location due to a morning flight. I arrived quite late, after the usual check-in time, and the front desk agent on the phone when I called the day before my arrival was courteous and made sure I could still check in at 1am. The hotel was easy to find and convenient to airport parking. However, when I went to find my room, I had trouble navigating the hotel. Specifically, I walked past the elevator three times before I saw it. It was one of the smallest and most hidden hotel elevators I've ever seen. I have issues with mobility that make stairs a hassle for me, but I nearly gave up and risked some serious pain to just take the stairs before I finally found the elevator. The room was spacious and impressive! I wish I had more time to spend or had come with a group, because it was an excellent space. Unfortunately, it seems like the upkeep of these rooms is somewhat lacking. The mattress I slept on was extremely uncomfortable and needs to be replaced. It sagged in the middle so severely I could feel the springs and had to sleep all the way on the outer edge to get any comfort at all. I was in a bit of a rush in the morning (after partaking in the hotel's excellent breakfast--although I couldn't find the cream cheese) and my check out took longer than it should have. I paid for my stay with rewards points, which seemed to confuse the individual trying to check me out. I had to wait for the manager on duty to finish a phone call before she could check on the reservation and assure me I would have no incorrect charges. Overall, some individual elements of my stay could have been better, but I'm grateful for the hotel's proximity to the airport and the service I experienced.

Stayed here the weekend and enjoyed our time. Only disappointment we experienced was the fact that you need a wristband to use the pool area. Yet, we weren't able to use it due to The HUGE amount of ‘friends' that had been in the pool area with a guest. There were approximately 25 people in the pool area without wristbands and were rather rude. Towels everywhere leaving us to have to go back to our room to get the towels from there to use. When we returned to the pool area, it didn't even pay. Another large group of people had joined without their wristbands. I intentionally booked this hotel because of the large and deep pool. Was disappointed that we weren't able to enjoy it. Not sure if we'll come back again. 90% sure we won't.

The reason we booked this hotel was for the atrium pool and we were never told beforehand or at check-in that it would be closed. In fact, when I inquired at the front desk I was told it would open at 8 am the next morning. Again it was "closed for maintenance". Terribly disappointing since I would have booked a hotel closer to our destination had I known.

We are 10U baseball family that stayed in this hotel this past weekend. Two words come to mind unprofessional and unethical. Our boys had chemical burns on their bodies from thier pool and they could not urinate without it being extremely painful and one of our boys had to be hospitalized. This is all due to this hotel's lack of responsibility. That afternoon when they were notified of this horrible situation they did not even close the pool until the next day! But continued to harass our group that was not bothering anyone....because we were eating in thier atrium. Food that we purchased from thier restaurant inside thier hotel. There response was, "only sometimes people can eat in here." We literally felt like we were in the Twilight Zone. And for them to respond saying that we were not supervising our children?? Unacceptable!! We were all in the same area, it is all open they can not go anywhere else. And how dare them to try and blame shift that our kids were being too roudy. They are 9 & 10 year old boys. Maybe they shouldn't be one of the participating hotels that host baseball tournaments?? When we checked out...they had told us that people were complaining at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday night. The pool is open until 10:00pm maybe they should inform thier guests not to book a room near the pool area where there will be noise. This whole thing was unreal. I believe some extra training needs to go into thier staff & management. This is soo unfortunate. Not to mention all the nasty long hairs that were found all over in our bathroom when we 1st walked in our room, and a used band-aid sitting was next to the hot tub when we first got there.....when we checked out it was still there. I wish I can give 0 stars.

I saw a review stating this property was renovated. Don't belive it, this place is a hell hole. We had kids in our group going to the ER after using the pool with rashes and bacteria infections and all we got from the staff was rudeness, unbelievable condeasending rudeness. They did not even close the pool until this morning and did not notify the health department about the issue. That must be our job and i will do so Monday. The place smells and the carpet looks like it hasn't been changed in 10 years. Stay here at your own risk

I was not thrilled with the customer service/lack of proper communication from Joshua. I asked Joshua to confirm three times: The cost of the one night stay would be $82.79 including taxes and then a $50 hold. THREE TIMES I asked him to confirm this. The day I checked out he handed me a bill for $95.30 saying this is the cost with taxes. I explained to Joshua that that price should have been made clear when I checked in. He just stared at me blankly and didn't respond. He gave me the subtotal when I arrived and presented it as the grand total. The paper work doesn't even have the grand total when you check in. Best Western, please clearly display the grand total on all paperwork and educate your staff on the prices so your customers aren't surprised like this in the future.

My favorite Best Western in every way, Building Condition, Decor, Best Breakfast, Convenient Location to Restaurants, Shopping and Entertainment. But of all the Best Westerns I've stayed at, their Hot Tub is really overdue for resurfacing.

My grandma was in the hospital and I did some calling around and settled on this hotel honestly for the free parking..best decision I made the staff was awesome at helping with any questions. And being able to get something to eat delivered to the room so late at night.. when I found out I had to stay another night cause of what my grandma was going through I didn't hesitate to call this hotel...

Wow all I can say is how helpful, nice and caring jocelynne, Josh and Salli were to me and my kids and my elderly Mom. I love how they treated us and offered acomadations. They are the best. They helped us when we had a problem and went above and beyond for us.

My husband and I brought the kids for an overnight getaway at the end of March. The hotel was perfect for our needs and we had a great time. We booked a basic room at a great rate as we wanted to stay somewhere nearby that had a pool and hot tub. The pool area has the dome overhead that lets the sunlight in which is nice. Customer service was fine, but nothing of note. I had mentioned prior to arriving that we were coming to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and that we had our reception at this hotel 9 years prior. Not a big deal, but I had thought they would note it and at least wish us a happy anniversary when we arrived. Breakfast was included with our stay which was a very nice perk. There was a great selection of food and everything tasted good. May favorite was the make your own waffle iron. Compared to other free hotel breakfasts this was one of the best! Overall a really nice stay, and we would stay here again.

Best place to stay when traveling with family to get to the airport. Loved the pool area. Best Breakfast! Safe park and fly and great rates. Lower rating due to the hotel needs updating in areas. It has a movie theater with a movie playing.

Front desk service, rood room service, breakfast service and SHUTTLE SERVICE were all fast, friendly, and efficient. For being an airport hotel, it was quiet (except for Friday night when there was a lot of commotion in the hallways). We thought that a lot of the front desk employees were new as they couldn't answer a lot of our questions. The pool area was HUGE with lots of natural light.

Park and Ride to airport was awesome. Very convenient. Can park your vehicle at the hotel for up to 14 days. Nice !!!Free Shuttle - no issues. Pool and Hot Tub area is beautiful. Staff are all very friendly and helpful.

I had to stay here because my hotel of choice was overbooked. Not pleased at all. Rudest staff I have ever seen at a hotel and I mean every person I came in contact with. The only soda machine they had only had like 3 varieties of old flat soda. Dirty and loud. Oh don't forget couldn't get a 20 minute late check out because they were just so packed on a Monday. I would never pay to stay here.

The Pool was unkempt. Hair and Skin found in multiple places within the pool and Jacuzzi. Breakfast was better than more hotels that offer, and proximity to the airport was good. Cleaning staff was vacuuming at 9:30PM while trying to sleep. Refrigerator was noisy, I had to unplug it.

Great value in a newly renovated hotel. Rooms are fresh, large and comfortable. Service was excellent...very friendly. Lounge was an unexpected treat. Internet was quick and easy. The hotel is across from the airport and the free shuttle was available on demand. I will be back!

This is our second time for our family to stay at this motel. The first was a park & fly about two years ago. This time was for a flight delay and we were very happy to be back. The motel has undergone a total remodel. We stayed by the pool area again. That area looked very clean and freshly tiled, a huge upgrade from two years ago. The room was clean, beds were soft, not firm. The bathrooms were upgraded and were very clean. The breakfast room was redone as well. The buffet attendants were very friendly and attentive to all the guests. The quality of food was above average for a motel. The sausages were very good and not some cheap meat served warmed up. The rest of the choices were plentiful for our family. This motel is very busy and was harder to find a spot for the car closer to our door due to the construction, but I hope next time we return this won't be an issue. So glad to see the road construction has finished at the intersection of the motel. It was a breeze to get in and out of now! We will gladly return for our next park & fly.

I did not give this an excellent rating only because we had a room in the original wing of the hotel, which is undergoing a huge renevation. We had a discounted rate for being there but it was clean and worth what we paid. The breakfast buffet is very nice with the nicest environment I have had at most places where I have stayed. Beds were very comfortable. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Close to airport and long-term parking establishments. The hotel itself has ample parking. I will surely stay here again.

We always stay here when we travel out of Milwaukee. Reasonable and park and fly package. Excellent pool, clean and pretty greenery area. First floor rooms are a little chilly in the winter... we think there's air coming in by the air/heat wall unit.... 2nd floor doesn't seem to have that problem. 2nd floor was remodeled recently

Great hotel, looks like there making upgrades, we stayed here for one night in Feb 2019 as we were flying out the next morning, location is great only 5 min from the airport, rooms were clean, restaurant had good food, free hot breakfast in the morning, along with free shuttle to & from the airport, WARNING We booked our room through Expedia.com, I DONT recommend doing that because the hotel will charge you additional $8 per day to leave your car parked there, in our case it ended up being around $60 for the 7 days we were gone, book directly through the hotel, this has nothing to do with the hotel, other than that we look forward to coming back to this hotel the next time we fly out of Milwaukee

We stayed 2 nights & the staff was great in solving a problem we had. The beds were comfortable & checking in & out was easy & fast. Fish dinner on Friday night in the restaurant was delicious & the complimentary breakfast was wonderful!

We have been staying with you for several years when leaving on vacation and will continue because we are always pleased with service and value. Pool is nice, location is great, shuttle is convenient but the service is what brings us back. Thanks

I stay at Best Western Milwaukee Airport and always have a great stay. I'm always welcomed at checkin with polite service. Rooms are always clean and bed very comfortable. Bathrooms are a little small but useable. The bar lounge has great dinner and drink specials and is very good. The bar staff is very outgoing and treats you very well. Prices aren't too bad like I said specials are very good. Check out is always so easy they keep me up on my future reservations and email all my receipts. This is a very well run hotel.

This hotel demonstrated amazing guest service. We had a group of 31 ppl, and check in was quick, and the bar was a perfect gathering spot. The hotel called in advance to set up our airport shuttle service for the following morning, which was at 4:30AM for 31 ppl. They were right on time, and provided grab and go breakfast. Airport transfers always seem to be one of the stress points for a group and they nailed it by anticipating the need and setting it up in advance, and then delivered on the plan!

Great place to stay for your flight out of Milwaukee. Hotel offers Park and Fly and shuttle to Airport. Room was comfortable and quiet. (Suggest to ask for room away from pool area). Breakfast was fabulous with variety of Hot foods to choose from. REAL DISHES AND SILVERWARE! (Not disposable dishes). Only bad thing was that they had a snow storm 2 DAYS before our arrival and parking lot was NOT plowed yet! All stalls had at least 6 inches of snow to drive over in order to park! I did not use Park and Fly for that reason (another storm was coming in, probably wouldn't be able to find my car!) Over all good hotel, would stay again if not Winter.

While parking was a disaster (recent snow had not been cleared), the room itself was clean and warm. Staff was nice and only 2 minutes to the airport. I did not use any of the amenities (just there to sleep before flying out), but the pool and fitness areas looked clean and taken care of.

Great experience and price. Everything from the room, the restaurant, staff, were better then expected. My kids also loved the pool. Even tho they are in the middle of updating this location, everything was clean, and the areas they were working on, were well marked. We will definitely be back.

The staff was very courteous and professional and ensured our stay was great and we had all we needed. The building was also very nice, they are completing a remodel. They went above and beyond in asking us what we need and then following thru to make our stay truly a wonderful one.

The hotel offers shuttle service to and from the hotel in a very timely manner. Easy access to downtown by car or public transportation. The staff is very attentive to their guest request and needs during their stay.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel Dec 5 and 6 and thourouly enjoyed our stay. The remodeling seemed complete and tastefully done. We would like to cite Stephanie K. and Carrie W. In the lounge and restaurant area for their friendly natures and their efficiency in doing their jobs. Our meals were great and they made the overall atmosphere fun. We will be back !

Great staff with convenient park and fly shuttle service. We travel from Milwaukee area frequently and have always stayed at Best Western. Easy to get to and on-site bar and restaurant. Breakfast is the best!

There for a Christmas party and staff decorated our party room very nicely. Food was great, but more that most of us could eat. I think portions could be cut a little and cost made more acceptable. $30 for a turkey dinner was a little high.

always stay here a few days before leaving Wisc. It's super close to the Mitchell & I-94. It's the perfect place to be to end your vaca. very relaxing. They have a great breakfast, awesome bar/lounge & restaurant. You wont miss a work out with their fitness room & it's nice to have an indoor pool & spa.

there we children running in the halls after 11PM ,you couldn't get the heat to be steading so we finally turned it off because at 61 it was 75. Went to take a shower and the shower pull didn't stay up.

I would rate this hotel EXCELLENT! Everything about it was great! Quiet, clean, friendly. The restaurant, Aviator was exceptional. We walked in at 10:30 PM and they stop serving at 11:00 and were so hospitable and the food was delicious! Never thought a Best Western could be this good!

I stayed here earlier this year and they were under renovation so the stay was not very good. Renovation is done and the place is much better rooms are clean and comfortable. I will stay here again when I fly out of Milwaukee.

Alyssa and Jocelyn went way out of their way to make our stay the best it could be. They made us feel at home:) We were cancelled for our return trip to Dallas, and had to stay unexpectedly in mke. They made a bad situation into a nice one! Thank you ladies!! We would stay again if in the area again.

This hotel is literally a bird's flight away from the airport. They offer a hotel shuttle (if needed) and getting to and from the airport takes at most 8 minutes. I can say that over the last 4 years of staying here, they have really improved the hotel overall. Updates when needed, the breakfast is now free (and delicious), and the front desk staff is super friendly and will do whatever is needed to make sure your stay is enjoyable. If you were to ask me to rate this hotel 3 years ago, I would give it a mere 2 (maybe 3) out of 5 review. The shower heads used to be at chest level (I'm 6'2") but during the renovation they added "flamingo-style" shower heads to each room and I can now stand comfortably under without ducking. The A/C units have all been replaced as has the refrigerators. And, once again, I cannot thank the staff enough for being more than helpful and accommodating. Sometimes I need to check in before 11 am and they do their best to assist me with that, other times they can see its been a long day and offer me their snack items at check-in even though I asked to receive the points. The best part about staying at Best Westerns (other than the rewards) is the beds are BY FAR the most comfortable beds out of any hotel chain. I always get a good nights sleep when staying at a BW.

I've stayed here several times, and always been impressed. The room was clean; the bed comfortable. They sent the free shuttle to pick me up immediately when I called. The staff were very professional and friendly. A great Mexican restaurant is right next door.

This is one of my go to places when we visit Milwaukee. Unfortunately it is becoming in need of much repair for the rooms and elevator. I wouldn't stay in any poolside rooms, wore out, smelly and noisy. The only elevator is hit or miss operations and the exterior doors to the hotel may or may not lock when they close. The lobby and dining areas are clean and maintained, the bar is in need of a serious update. The rooms away for the pool area were clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. If things don't improve we will be removing this hotel from our Milwaukee stay list. We will be back soon and see.

We booked a stay at this hotel so we could keep our car there during a trip out of state. First, be aware that most rooms are poolside. If you're not going to use the pool, be prepared for a loud evening and high humidity in the room. Second, our bathroom tub faucet was very loose and required a long wait to run and heat the water - several minutes. Finally, our wait for the driver to pick us up at the airport was longer than promised. We had drivers from two other hotels ask how long we were waiting, who we were waiting for and then look dumbfounded because the hotel is just across the street. Both offered to take us to our car if we were still waiting when they came back. All in all, not worth any money saved.

Our room was so full of mold, the tiles in the bathroom were broke, the tv remote and air did not work. When we walked up the stairs there was a large area of construction that was not roped off and could result in an injury also. The one electrical outlet in the room did not work either. For $119 a night, this seemed more like a $49 a night hotel. Staff was rude also, but it is close to the airport.

Not too thrilled with this place. Not enough handicap parking for the size of facility. Good is barely ok. Pool is way outdated. Staff isn't the friendliest. There are nicer hotels on Howell , I'm staying there next time!

I want to say of all the Best Westerns I have stayed at this one has been one of the best and by that I mean the employees made it so.We were on a weeks long motorcycle vacation and upon arriving I asked it there was a safe place to park our motorcycles and was taken out front by the staff and showed a place right outside the front door where to park.The next morning after checking out there was a Best Western chamois on each bike. Very nice and thank you

First off I'd like to thank the front desk staff Alyssa for the great customer service as well as Erica for stopping her cleaning to asisting us with our luggage to our room( I was very tired). My favorite part of my visit was the hot tub although I delt like it never tomed out on me and I was in there a while. The breakfast was delicious! The house keeping staff was very friendly as well.

Room was fine, but breakfast was not as advertised. Oatmeal was good one day, but soupy the next day. Cereals were all sugar loaded. Eggs were not hot and there was no wheat bread. Location worked for us even though we had to do more driving. Price was good for the city.

The place is being remodeled, we stayed in their new rooms, and it was great. The new beds are really comfortable, new TV, larger size refrigerator, microwave, comfortable side chair with ottoman, sturdy desk to work on, and 4 pillows per bed! Their pool and hot tub area is really nice. Their full glass ceiling, and real trees and greenery gives the feel of being out doors. The water was clean, and not extremely chlorinated.

First of all Best Western sent me a link to review my stay in June, 2018 soon after I stayed there. I spent the time to write my review and submitted it to Best Western. I guess they never received it because they sent it to me again. Unfortunately I was on the road and was unable to do it again :( So on to TripAdvisor with my review. I was again reminded why I don't like to stay at a Best Western again. Despite on the road construction going on around the hotel (hot their fault) the hotel itself was in need of some serious help. Not just in updating but the housekeeping staff. The front desk staff were helpful but their housekeeping didn't want to work. We had to make several phone calls for our room to be cleaned and items to be replenished. The carpet was nasty and bunching up. Linens were old and if you were physically challenged the closest elevator was not in walking distance and further to walk to it then to your room. The atrium where the pool was is sweltering HOT and of course the atrium opens up to all the outside of the rooms. It is just a poorly set up hotel. I've been an avid Best Western customer but honestly after this one and the one in Hannibal I will never go back to a Best Western. They are so nasty and just not taken care of anymore. Very sad to see to be honest with you. So I would not recommend this hotel and I'd certainly tell them to hire a better housekeeping staff. Also the rate was way too high for what was received. More like a 1 star hotel with a 4 star price.

This hotel is perfect if you need a night or two near the airport, that said it's only a 10-15 minute drive to downtown. It's fair to say it is looking very tired in places but I understand a multi million $ renovation is planned, check before you book. I had some issues, not with the hotel but with the agency I booked through, the staff at the hotel were brilliant and sorted a problem not of their making to my total satisfaction.

Spacious room, comfy bed, nice breakfast bar & friendly staff. It would be of been nice to have been provided more than 2 bath towels in the room. The elevator was out of service one day and so we got an extra work out climbing to the third floor a few times. The room was quiet and dark once the blinds were figured out. The hotel only has one ice machine on the first floor and so carrying our cooler to the opposite side of the hotel to fill it up and then taking it back to the room to place all of our leftover drinks in was not going to happen. Please consider placing an ice machine on each level of your three story hotel.

We just stayed overnight because we flew in at 11:30 pm. I would never stay there again! There was a layer of dust on everything and the hot water in the shower did not work! We considered sleeping in our clothes! On the flip side, all of the employees were amazingly helpful and kind!!!

I've been a travel agent for 33 years and a Diamond BW rewards member. We've been staying at this hotel for decades, and have witnessed a very nice transformation of their lobby, rooms and facilities. It's an older hotel, but they've done a nice job of updating the rooms and common spaces. The rates include a hot breakfast and 24-hour airport shuttle. We often stay the night before our MKE flight and the cost of the hotel room is much less than what we'd pay just for parking at the terminal. We enjoy unwinding in their bar lounge in the evening when we arrive, and their restaurant is reasonable with good food. On this most recent visit, we had a problem with our room configuration and Rebecca at the front desk, immediately resolved the issue. She is a real asset to the hotel staff. The shuttle is fast and they sent the van right over when we returned from our trip and called them. (Driver Alyssa was outstanding! Very professional and helped lift our bags right into our car for us!) This is our go-to hotel for our Milwaukee stays near the airport. It's clean, charming, comfortable, and very convenient. A good value. I highly recommend!

Suppose to be a 3-star property but perhaps is more like 2-star. The shower lever was hot for cold and cold for hot. Room was just OK. Breakfast was good though. Some Harley Davidson event was on and we had many for company.

If you want to be near the Milwaukee Airport for an o'dark thirty flight, this is the place to be. My expectations were low, and actually it turned out better than expected. Check-in was friendly and quick, in spite of the hotel being packed with Harley Davidson attendees. The beds were comfortable, remarkably it was quiet (no slamming doors and no airplanes??) The complimentary breakfast was meh - it filled a need - but it was convenient and plentiful. If you're staying here, I recommend you check out Jalapeno Loco next door for dinner. It warrants the Trip Advisor 4.5 star rating. But back to the hotel. If you're looking for luxury and a wow-factor, move along. If all you need is a comfortable bed, a quick breakfast, proximity to the airport, all at a low price, then this is your place. (Oh, our "view" was a long-term parking lot for the airport.)

Uncomfortable beds, no temp leveling in the shower, drafty windows let in smoking from outside. Food was good but staff was hit and missing the bar, breakfast was good, I was there 5 days and didnt get alot of sleep if this is a sub $100 hotel it would have been ok but not at these prices.

This was given mostly 4 stars and we are certainly trying to figure out why. Was very crowded during check in and there seemed to be a lot of confusion with the staff. There was only 1 elevator getting to our floor and it was dirty. When we first got into our room, everything appeared to be okay but then we started noticing things. The bathroom had mold in the shower. The carpets were filthy to the point that one walk across the floor in white ankle socks turned them black. Went to the lounge and there was trash on the floor. The breakfast buffet the next day at first blush should have been great with much variety but the scrambled eggs were dry and tasted like cardboard and were basically inedible. The corned beef hash was cold and full of grease. On the bright side they had a fresh yogurt machine which did produce a very good product. Though breakfast was included in our rate, we chose to find another place for breakfast. On the bright side the hotel has a very nice indoor pool and hot tub which should be very nice for families. If the owners spend some money to clean it up, renovate a bit, it could be a very good property and it would be hard to beat the convenience. But for now, just an old, tired property in much need of cleaning and TLC,

We travel a lot to and from Texas and this hotel is conveniently located near the airport - just a five minute shuttle ride away. The place is well kept and the staff is friendly. We are return customers.

Overall, about what you'd expect at an airport hotel in need of updating. Bed was comfortable, room was reasonably clean, and A/C was quiet, but maintenance didn't respond when we had a plumbing 'issue' during our stay. Called guest services about 9:20PM, waited an hour, gave up and went to sleep. Called again in the morning, waited 45 mijnutes, gave up again, showered and checked out. Desk clerk asked about our stay, and when I told her about the issue, she said "Sorry to hear that. Do you need a copy of your receipt?"Next time we stay in Milwaukee we'll look elsewhere.

I had a horrible experience due to be profiled and bullied by one of your 3rd party vendors. I stayed at the MKE AIRPORT BEST WESTERN for (2)....all.my previous experiences were AMAZING. This particular trip on Aug 14th I was in the back of the hotel sitting down and smoking a cigarette....a 3rd party vendor (Gina) came over me to and asked "can I help you"?I replied "no" She then indicated I couldn't be in that particular area because she's working back there. I then she then told me I have 2 options Either go inside the hotel right away or leave the premises in a very aggressive tone. I said "ok" and went inside. The following day after work I went to the front desk and asked am I allowed to be in the back area to smoke. Front desk personel said "yes of course". I was told the Gm would be informed and would speak to me.....I have not been contacted which given I'm a diamond member and been loyal to BW is very disappointing. The fact your hotel allows people to be bullied and harassed is beyond appalling. Went for a couples weekend getaway to Milwaukee. Looks like the are finishing renovations and looks all fresh and updated. Had a movie theater which we didn't use but would have been great had the family been with us. Definitely would go back if in the area

This is one of those hotels I wish reviewers would be more consistent in warning about. Nothing was clearly wrong. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was quiet and bed was OK. But it's pretty run down. Carpets in hallways are really old. They look terrible. In the room they also look bad. The bathroom was probably clean? Shower has some green marks that are likely age, but.... The hotel simply is not 4 of 5 stars for > $100 a night. If you're a family with children, you'll like the pool area. Otherwise the hotel is less expensive than similar rated hotels, but most of those others will be in much better condition. I'll pay a bit more to not have to worry about cleanliness. I'll not return to this hotel.

My kids love their pool, and I am always satisfied with the consistent cleanliness of the pool and atrium area. Location is great in relation to the airport area. Many additional restaurant choices within a 3 mile radius.

The reviews on Trip Advisor led me to believe this hotel would be a good selection for our family trip to Milwaukee. We wanted a nice pool, breakfast and clean room. The pool was great. The water was really warm, which was good for us. The visibility of the occasional plane flyover was pretty cool too. The pool area was rather hot and humid, but our family didn't mind that at all. There were plenty of clean towels and seating. Breakfast was good. It was a standard hot breakfast fare. Quality and quantity were good. Staff was friendly. The room is really where this location lost me: 1. There was about a two inch gap under our main door. Between that and the really thin walls, it felt more like a nice hostel than a Best Western Plus. We could easily hear guests next door, above us and in the hallway. No privacy at all. 2. There was visible dirt and crumbs in the bathroom upon arrival that remained there our entire 3-day stay. 3. The temp of the shower water randomly alternated between cold-warm-scalding. I assume it was due to other guests using their bathrooms/showers. 4. The shower curtain had a decent amount of mold. 5. The sink did not drain properly for the duration of our stay. 6. Linens were stained. 7. Spider in the bathroom. The hotel is undergoing a major remodel, which I hope will resolve these issues. We made an effort to stay in the room as little as possible, so I can't comment on the construction noise. The contractors were friendly and seemed to be doing everything possible to avoid interrupting guests' stay.

Nothing to complain about :) Probably only thing was not being able to take breakfest to our room but honestly not even a big deal. Everything was excellent staff, cleanliness, rooms felt like home was so peaceful and quiet so many rooms and people but never heard anyone around us.

Had to stay over at the Best Western when our plane was canceled . There is a large indoor pool in the center of the main floor. It is very humid in the area and our room was right by the pool. Our room was small and some of the shower tiles were chipped. There was a decorator board showing the complete renovation of the entire hotel. It looked old and run down. It is very close to the airport and there is a free shuttle bus.

everything should be very nice once the renovation project is complete, Diane R. is doing a great job with the bar/lounge and Esteph does a nice job with breakfast. overall this is a nice place to stay.

Hotel in need of remodel but still OK for now, much better than the Super 8 down the street! Stayed at Super 8 last year and there was mold growing on the carpet, open electrical box in our room, spa was broke and we felt unsafe there. Best Western was a couple steps up from them, not bad for the price and close to airport.

In short, the manager of this hotel has yet to respond and resolve a case I have open with Best Western's customer service line. It is now almost a week past the alloted time management has to respond to a case, which only speaks to the terrible service received at the hotel. I had reported an issue, shortly after checking in,regarding a broken mattress- a mattress that sunk to a v formation upon laying in it. The manager did not offer a room change but stated that maintenance would attend to the issue. Hours later, our issue was not resolved. I had gone down to the front desk to follow up but waited there for 15-20 mins waiting for an attendant. No one was managing or attending the front desk in this timeframe. No one was responding to knocks on staff doors, and the door to the back desk was left unlocked and opened. After waiting for 15-20 minutes the attendant came inside from outside, with phone in hand. From there, I was told that the manager would be in the next day to address my follow-up further. The next morning, however, I was told that the manager was off foe the day. And then to mirror this terrible service, I have yet to have my case responded to by the manager. In addition, I thought it a safety hazard to have construction tools laying near outlets right as you step out of the elevator to the third floor. There's an accident waiting to happen. Construction was in no way closed off from the public- I couldn't believe that the hotel would let the public walk into this to get to their room.

I really struggle to find one good thing about this hotel. I booked a room block for my wedding and from the beginning, dealing with them has been a nightmare: reaching the person in charge of our block before the wedding was almost impossible, they didn't respect our written contract at all, my guests had to wait 45m after the check-in time to be able to access their rooms, the staff was rude, some of my guests were woken up by a jack hammer, the champagne that was supposed to be in our bridal suite was obviously not there, the breakfast area that should have been reserved for us was not set up the morning after our wedding so my guests had to eat around trying to find some seats in the general area. As if it was not enough, I held a lot of rooms for my guests on my credit card as it was supposed to be just a security and each guest was supposed to pay upon check in but the day before the wedding, the hotel debited my account for all the rooms I held which resulted in me having $0 on my account the day of my wedding until we got refunded (5 days later). If you think it's some kind of comedy show, trust me, I wish. This hotel is a complete disaster! All my guests complained about something and you can only imagine the level of stress they put on me, bride to be, the day before my wedding.

The hotel was not what it used to be. it was so dirty we wiped stuff down on the room before touching it and floors were super sticky we kept out shoes on the entire time. then while we were gone our window was busted out of our car and staff told us it was 3rd time that week.

Second stay in two years. First time was excellent. This time stayed in Room 220. It smelled of mold and urine. The bathtub curtain appeared to be the source. It has moldy stains as in picture below. The BedSpread and bedsheets appeared to be hastily made and unchanged from previous occupants. On plus side, front desk and wait staff are friendly. Free breakfast with typical fare is still available and one of the strong points.Kids enjoyed the warm pool. Hopefully better next time after ongoing renovation.

This place was a little bit of a mess when we were there. They are in the process of renovating. That having been said, our room was clean and nice. The pool area was way too hot. It was like being in a sauna. It was also not in the greatest shape. The breakfast was really good. Better than most hotel breakfasts. I would stay here again.

I stayed during the weekend of June 22-24, 2018 for the motorcycle Bessie Stringfield ride. The event was hosted here at the Best Western Plus. I never been to a Best Western Plus hotel and it was phoenmal! They provided a wash port for the motorcycles which was really cool. From the front desk to the restaurant employees was simply wonderful. The employees were down to earth people. The Aviator restaurant had good food and the lady bartender I forgot her name was wonderful. She made some mad Margaritas and I mean that in a good way. I was telling other people you gotta get a Margarita! I ate there both nights Friday and Saturday. Our remember our server Marcus and what a wonderful gentlemen. This place also has an indoor pool and work out room. I did't do that activity because I didn't bring my swim wear and work out clothes. The banquet rooms were huge and very nice. I was also surprised to see that they had an auditorium. I'm looking to go back just to chill out and enjoy the amenities that this hotel has to offer. I've never been so over joyed about staying at a hotel.

Quick check in from over friendly staff. Excellent shuttle service to and from airport. Several amenities, free breakfast and fresh cookies at night. Indoor pool and hot tub along with good business center and work out area.

Nick the manager was so accommodating. He cancelled my reservation last minute due to illness. I would book her again with no problem. Quick response and he actually picked up when I called and confirmed the cancellation

Arrived extremely late and hotel staff was more than accommodating. Picked us up via shuttle Well after midnight in a thunderstorm took us straight to the front door. Room was ready upon arrival. Staff very courteous and friendly. Hotel is a little old but has done very good upgrades to make it feel newer. Thank you.

Unfortunately, I had to cancel my visit but I just want you to know that I had the most pleasant experience cancelling my reservation with Alysa. I can tell you that I have called and spoke with, dealt with several individuals in the last six months or so but Alysa is by far the best! Not only did she quickly and effectively cancel my reservation but she noticed I was not a rewards member and signed me up for that as well. Not only that, I told her that I had not received the cancellation confirmation letter from the other room I cancelled and she sent that one today as well. No doubt when I finally make that trip, I will make it my business to seek Alysa out and give her a big hug. Thanks Alysa for making the start of my day fantastic. BW - Alysa is a keeper for sure!

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the past 10 years. It had been awhile since my last visit and I was concerned when I read some of the recent reviews. While I agree with some of the reviews saying that the hotel could use some updating, overall I found the rooms to be comfortable and clean. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating. The shuttle to the airport was timely and convenient. We did not use the pool area and I don't know if it had just been recently serviced, but there did seem to be a strong chlorine smell in the air. However, some people were using it and they didn't seem to be bothered. The restaurant doesn't have much atmosphere, but the food and the service was good. The hotel is not that close to downtown Milwaukee, but the proximity to the airport makes it a good place to stay if you are flying out early in the morning. Overall, this is a good value and we enjoyed our stay.

So I decided to take my 2 kids and a friend here over Memorial Day weekend just for a quick one night getaway. I got a really good deal that I didn't want to pass up. It so happened to be super hot this weekend and my youngest really wanted to swim. This was probably the best thing about this hotel....the pool is huge and reminded us of the indoor pool at the wilderness with the see through roof. There were however plenty of not so great things about this hotel and I'm going to say they are going through renovations which is most likely going to take care of 90% of these issues. Elevators are super small Room had a really weird smell when we walked in Small fridge was not closing all the way due to seal coming apart/ being loose Air unit was not doing a very good job, barely blowing any cool air out Cobwebs above the bed In one of the beds there were all these black hairs and fuzzies like they didn't bother to swap out for a clean set. Comforter had brown stuff all over it. Called front desk and said they would send someone up, after an hour no one had come so we went down to the lobby and spoke to a very nice man in a blue shirt who apologized and sent someone up right away. He was there within 10 min. That was great customer service. the bathroom only had a half roll of toilet paper when we got in the room. The showerhead has barely any water pressure and was leaking water up toward the ceiling. The beds were very comfortable but the pillows could be bigger. With the room came a free breakfast buffet. The food was actually good. They have scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage links, patties, breakfast burritos, yogurt , make your own waffles and pancakes,fruit, juices, coffee. Great selection for a free buffet. The staff was very friendly overall in welcoming us and explaining everything about the hotel. Once the remodel is done I would definitely consider returning to this hotel.

I have stayed here several times and never had an issue I have always have had a nice clean and comfortable stay. They are doing a remodel and I think that they are maybe using rooms they normally do not use, the room was clean but I had issues. I will go back and try again I am hoping that is it just a fluke and the next stay will be great again.

The hotel was very nice with great amenities. The in-room wifi worked great and the complimentary breakfast buffet had so many choices and everything was delicious! The staff was wonderful, so friendly and welcoming, especially Alysa at the front desk! She made us feel so at home! Also all of the staff at breakfast was great! Very accommodating and took pride in servicing the customers, especially Juan! We'll definitely stay again when we come to Milwaukee!

Flew in for my birthday weekend and had a horrible experience. Thankfully after checking in Alysa and Sabrina made sure I had a wonderful stay. Absolutely wonderful women with great and caring personalities!!! If I ever come back to Wisconsin I will DEFINITELY stay here again just to experience their amazing hospitality. Thank you so much ladies, you were AMAZING!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Stayed here for two nights in May 2018. The hotel is undergoing a major renovation. Room that I stayed has very old furniture and the carpet is dirty. Overall service at front desk is good. Food at the only restaurant here is mediocre.

Needs updating the outside and inside of hotel Elevator was broken so you needed to walk a mile No bell hop to help with luggage The Staff GREAT I did not have HOT WATER and when you needed to leave at 4am not fun

On short notice I had to transfer to this hotel (had bad experience with other Best Western in Milwaukee). I had traveled to town for my Mother's funeral and was expecting about 30 people for luncheon after the funeral. On short notice the hotel staff got us settled in the room and the restaurant put together a lovely pizza party. Everyone at the hotel was so nice and courteous and helpful

This place was awesome. Rooms were clean, updated, and stocked with everything you may need. The pool area was fun and the water was not cold at all! 24/7 fitness center was clean and enjoyable also. I loved the complimentary breakfast. Yummm!

Keep looking for a hotel, not this one....you will appreciate going the extra mile....no pun intended. 3 years of construction....really? Nasty smell, poor quality of rooms and the staff didn't seem to care.

I stay a night a this hotel and one of the first things I noticed was outdated decor and worn carpeting. The layout is a little weird and the signs are not the best for directions.My room was at 72 degrees and I could not get it to go lower. The TV made funny background sounds for HBO. The Bar area was big, but the TV's were small. When we were there, all of the ice machines were out of order and people were coming to the bar for ice. Staff was friendly and check in and out was easy.

If I could give negative stars I would! My wife and I have been traveling for work over 5 years and this is by far the worst and most disgusting place we've ever stayed! The front desk screwed up the charges and argued with us upon arrival. The room was never cleaned the four days we stayed. After trying to call the front desk from our room and discovering the phone didn't work we had up use our cell. Called front desk to complain about the housekeeping and they assured us they would take care of it and never did. All they did was leave clean towels on the end of our bed they never made the bed. The room was so dirty it had feces on the light switch in the bathroom, the tub didn't drain when showering, our feet stuck to the carpet, looked like bloody hand prints on the door, the smell was terrible not to mention the mildew from the pool that was located in the center of the building. They were painting all around us and again terrible smell, there was loud construction going on and sounded like something was breaking through the wall, the vending machines were either completely empty or out of order. We had drunks trying to get in our room at 2am thinking it was their room. WE BOTH ENDED UP WITH E. COLI!!! We were so sick for almost a week! Look at the pictures! Yuck! Yuck! Yuck! How is this place still open????!!!??? Enter with hazmat suit only!

I will say when we got there on saturday at 3pm. The rooms given were not the ones I put in for and called on to clarify that I was getting the right rooms. The gentleman at the counter apologised and got me the right room. Signed me up for rewards and got me a half off app which we didn't use. We wanted to but time got away from us. The rules at the pool were inforced which I was very happy to see and the ones abusing this was dealt with by staff quickly. The B reakfest staff you had Sunday morning with the 2 young men were awesome......cleaning filling and asking if we needed anything else.... 3 times.... wow... now to the bill... my hotels.com price was differant then the bill given to me. I talked to the front desk and their was 2 ladies there and before I could finish the older one interrupted me and said that was 50 for incidentals. I said I didn't finish and it was 30 something. She told me if I do the math right it's 50. I pulled out my phone to show the hotels.com email what was quoted and the younger one started pulling my information up on the screen and the older one told her she knows what it is. I was told that I have to go through expedia to get my money back. I didn't pay through the website and I explained this as I paid the hotel in full the bill. She said you always pay us but you want that deal you need to get through expedia. I walked away as I was not getting anywhere with that lady as I believe that is the same one I talked to a week prior to verify I got the two rooms together and she said we plan those that far back. I have stayed here before and we like the B reakfest n the big pool but service like that hurt the overall.all I wanted was to get reimbursed for the d ifferance or I was ok with a credit as we did plan on staying in a few months but not sure at this point depending how this is resolved.

Unexpected night in Milwaukee after flight cancelled and re-booked on an early flight. Picked this hotel due to proximity to airport, price and complimentary airport shuttle. Older hotel but you can tell that maintenance and cleanliness are a high priority. Better than that, touches of an emphasis on customer service were readily apparent. All of the staff were friendly and cordial including the maintenance gentlemen who helped us find our room when we took a wrong turn. Room was not fancy but well appointed with coffee maker, fridge and microwave. The on site restaurant was your basic bar with pub food but food was well prepared and served hot. We left early (430 am) but there was a selection of grab and go food and drinks ready and the front desk kept a list of all the guests scheduled for the 430 am shuttle. Driver could not have been more pleasant. Overall good experience. They have a renovation planned so hopefully the physical plant will match the customer service experience.

The hotel staff booked my family into a room right next to one that they were painting. UGH!!! I couldn't believe it, the smell was terrible. The beds were awful, when you sat on them you were practically sitting on the floor. I had absolutely no sleep because of the bed and also because the vent on the wall was in desperate need of repair, rattled all night long. Bartenders were rude. Sat down and the lady ignored me but immediately after me a couple walked in and she served them. I had to physically get up and waive her over so I could get served. Then when we sat down to eat I went up to get a drink with cash in hand and another bartender (different lady) said to I had to tell my server?! Really, I have cash in hand and you don't want to take my order? WTH??? The only positive was the front desk staff was great and our waiter in the restaurant (gentleman with an accent) was super!! He served 14 of us like there were 14 of him, he was awesome!

Our stay at the Best Western Airport Hotel is the best we have ever had. From arriving to leaving we couldn't of asked for better service, friendlier staff or better shuttle service. The place is beautiful, the food is great both restaurant and bar/lounge with the most friendly atmosphere of any other place we have stayed. Everyone was helpful and our needs were meet.

This hotel is in serious need of a renovation. The airport shuttle pickup took 45 minutes and the hotel is a mile from the airport. The mattresses in the room were ancient and uncomfortable. Just a general dirty feel from the pool area and throughout.

We loved the pool atrium -it was so nice and warm, though a bit chlorine-y. (See pic of my formerly dark gray shirt after a 45 minute swim). The chlorine burned one of my kid's skin enough that she had trouble sleeping, but hey- price you pay for a good road trip. The breakfast was excellent, and the rooms were comfy. They even brought us squishy pillows when my husband mentioned they were too hard. Parking was really tough, but we found a spot. I have no idea what's going on in this area, but we were woken up on our last day by what we can only describe as several gunshots. They occurred randomly from 5-10 at a time between the hours of 7-11:30 am. Maybe it's near a shooting range? Overall a nice place.

We stayed at this Best Western the night before our flight out of Mitchell Field. We live in Milwaukee but a snowstorm was coming about the time that we were leaving in the morning so we wanted to be close to the airport. Choosing this hotel was a good decision and we would stay here again even if there wasn't a snowstorm. It was very close to the airport and the shuttle that runs every half hour was convenient. We made an arrangement for a 5 a.m. trip to the airport and the shuttle was on time. An added convenience was the coffee, oatmeal, granola bars, etc offered in the lobby area from 3 AM. It was just enough to get us going for our flight. The room looked updated and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. We were right across from a really nice pool on the first floor but didn't hear any sounds. We didn't use the pool or the whirlpool because we didn't have time but it looked good. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel the night before which was convenient with good food. We left our car in the parking lot for 10 days and it was safe. We would recommend this hotel.

My husband & I stayed at this hotel both at the start and end of a trip. The rooms were clean, the breakfast very good, and the shuttle great both heading to and returning from the airport. We will definitely be using this hotel for future flights out of Milwaukee.

I stayed here on February 24th and 25th. Mainly because it had a pool and Jacuzzi. Also it was near the places I wanted to visit on my trip in Milwaukee. I was very disappointed with more then I thought I would be. Upon arriving after a long drive I had to go to through both parts of the parking lot looking for a place to park. Not knowing until I got in because I never stayed here before that they buy out there parking places to make it convenient for airport passengers to find parking with a free shuttle to the airport but not the guests staying at there hotel. I had to park on the street a mile away then walk to come back to check in. Finally after I finally checked in and went to my room I was in packing for my stay. I know they are doing renovations but there was a whole in the wall. I felt like I was being watched.They put a new heater/air conditioner unit in the room but didn't finish taking the old one out. We had left for dinner and came back and we asked the young millennials at the front desk what time the pool closed and he snapped and said "we are kicking anyone out who causes problems. I was offended and upset. I am an adult and I asked a simple question. He didn't have any reason to reply with attitude. We went up to our room and sat on the outside of the pool because it was closed to just relax and enjoy our time there. The same worker was patrolling the halls and rooms. The next morning we woke up and went down for breakfast. We filled our plate and started eating. Yes you get a lot of food but I had to warm up my own food because there was no way for them to keep it hot. Then we went back to our room to pack. On the way we stopped by the Jacuzzi so we could go in it. It was under maintenance so we could not go in. Who does maintenance before the guests check out. As we were packing to leave we called the front desk to ask for 2 bags to put our dirty clothes in that they give you when you arrive. After 10 minutes of waiting and us needing to get on with our day I went and got them myself. Really another thing. So we checked out and headed home. We will not stay here again. They only thing good was the bed.

We chose Best Western Plus MKE Airport for it's pool and extended parking options (we were flying south for vacation). Problems and frustrations started from the moment we arrived. Our room, #344, was on the third floor. During check-in, the front desk staff said few words and none of them described where the elevator or stairwell was, nor where our room was located. The tiny, dilapidated elevator is hidden at the far reach of the hotel and there were few, if any, signs directing to where the elevator was from the front desk, nor did we get a map of the facility showing where our room was. The hallway carpets were stained and deteriorated; the laminate flooring in front of the elevator was cracked and worn through to the cardboard underneath. Upon entering our room, we were greeted with the unrelenting orange light of a sodium vapor lamp immediately outside our window. We tried closing the "blackout" drapes, but even they could not stop the piercing light. Further inspection of the room revealed more shortcomings. The bed felt 10 years past its prime - like sleeping on a pile of rocks on top of a trampoline. The furnishings and finishes looked like they came from Grandma's house and showed many years of wear. There was water damage on the bottom of the doors. The bathroom sink would barely drain. The heater/air conditioner unit rattled and droned. As we were staying for less than a total of 7 hours, we were willing to cope with all of this solely with the hope of being able to relax in the hot tub and take a dip in the pool. The hot tub was ice cold. We reported our complaints to the front desk, but the only preposition we received was "we can have maintenance look into this for you." The pool was closing soon and there was no hope of the hot tub being operational any time during our stay. Maintenance wasn't going to renovate our room, replace our mattress, or relocate a sodium vapor security lamp. Maintenance was not a solution to any of these issues. While waiting for the shuttle to the airport, we were reading reviews of the Best Western Plus MKE Airport online, wondering where we went wrong. Some of them mentioning vehicle break-ins; then we heard it first hand - a guest boarding the shuttle was lamenting how their pickup had been broken into the night before. Great, now we're going on vacation with the looming concern in the back of our minds that our vehicle would be burglarized. The Best Western Plus Milwaukee failed in every aspect of the hospitality it promises to provide and we won't be patronizing this hotel again.

This is a very pleasant hotel to stay in when catching flights out of Milwaukee. Great parking discount while you are traveling. My only complaint was the shower. It was cold for about 10 minutes before it was bearable to use. Not a deal breaker, but not pleasant either.

We live nearby and have visited this hotel multiple times in the past just to utilize the pool and have a ‘quick' getaway. We decided to take/treat my in-laws here in addition to my immediate family as a birthday treat for my mother in law. From parking to check-in to check-out, we had a poor experience. Parking: the entire lot was full since they allow people who stay there that fly out from Mitchell to continue to utilize their parking lots. We have a handicapped son and had to park our vehicle in the street as a result of this. Check-in: Were were told our rooms were adjoining, which was not the case when we located our rooms. I called down to the front desk and and was told by a female worker they were very busy and she would call me right back. 15 minutes came and passed so my husband personally went downstairs and was told by this employee that the hotel is full and there are no adjoining rooms available. As for my return call: Well right back turned into longer than 15minutes and still no call so I had to call them again, only to have a male employee answer. I wanted to speak directly with an employee about the misinformation we were told at check in about adjoining rooms. He was incredibly helpful and in fact they DID have rooms available that adjoined which we relocated to, only to have our new room key not be activated. We had to go back to the lobby and get this activated. Room: phone did not work in room, we were only given about 1/4 roll of toilet paper, and the Kleenex had the fanned decoration, but no Kleenex! The air also did not work and the room was incredibly hot. The beds however were decent and pretty comfortable. Pool: The pool is scheduled to be open at 8am. Our family got our suits on and went downstairs, excited to swim-only to find that the pool and hot tub was closed due to maintenance and would take severe hours until it would open! Mind you, check out is 11am! The roof in the pool area was also constantly leaking water. Front desk: my mother in law went to the front desk to inquire about the pool. An employee named Becky was extremely rude to her and unapologetic. This maintenance work should have been scheduled at a time when the pool was not scheduled to be open. The pool was the main reason we stayed and booked 2 rooms there. Pool eventually opened about 9:45am yet hot tub was still closed. Breakfast: Was good for the most part. The breakfast staff appeared very hard working and were trying to constantly keep up with the demand of the food. Unless improvements occur in quality control and customer service, we will never be back here again

The beds were uncomfortable and my room smelled of rotting cheese. I asked the front desk to take care of the smell while I went out to the Wisconsin Center for a business conference. I returned approximately 8 hours later and the smell somehow got worse. I called again, asking for air fresheners and the clerk responded in snotty tone and claimed not to have any more left.

Stayed in room 149 and it is a dump. 1) mattress is thin and sinking in the middle 2) shower faucet is broke and won't turn off, dripping all night 3) walls are beat up For $120 a night I expect a decent, comfortable room and bed. This is a pathetic. Can't sleep and have to catch an early flight. Don't waste your time. Four Points has better mattresses and secured parking. Best Western is a horrible.

Check in was smooth and quick. The man didn't have much to say...didn't point out or give directions to the elevator, which took a bit to find. The elevator is on the other side of the hotel and is the smallest, creepiest one we've used in all our travels. It is not wheelchair friendly either. If you are not able to get up from your wheelchair and step out, request first floor! As such, some entrances have rather large bumps from cement shifting, so be prepared to maybe have to get up and make your way in, before using your wheelchair again. The room: Spacious and clean. 2 beds with 4 pillows each. Linens and bedding were clean with no stains or holes. Beds were comfy. Not enough outlets. The clock wasn't plugged in and would not fit in the outlet behind the bed because the outlet was too old and loose. Fridge/micro. Nice sized TV. Channel line up was just okay. Wi-Fi worked very well! They had a bed side phone, didn't work. We removed it and placed it in a drawer. With the really big lamps they use, the phone took up even more room. The HVAC unit was terrible! The noise it made was so bad you had to talk over it and don't bother with the TV. No way you could sleep with it running...it wasn't the white noise people so often use them for at night. If it ran too long, it started to squeak like 20 hamsters on little metal wheels.....UGH! We slept with the window open at night and surprisingly it was very quiet until about 6am. Our last night we kept it closed, too cold out. The heat kicked on...woke us both up. Sounded like a semi hauling butt into our room! Bathroom was a good size. Not enough towel bars, but plenty of towels. Fluffy, no stains or holes. In need of a grab rail in the shower as it does get a bit slick in there. Everything was clean. Things to know: *housekeeping was loud and rude *elevator available (see above) *advertises truck/trailer parking, but lot is full with guests who fly out and leave their vehicle. *due to all the vehicles, there was a lot of snow and ice between cars and at entrances. Again, making wheelchair use difficult. *bring a surge protector so you have more outlets. Overall, it was an okay stay. We would consider staying again, but might consider another hotel for the reasons above. For us, it was a little more difficult then it may be for other able body people.

I recently stayed at hotel and did the park and fly. The parking lot is NOT secure. my car had 2 busted out windows when i returned. The shuttle driver that picked me up from airport smelled heavily of marijuana. i have stayed at this hotel many times in the past ten years but will never again because of the lack of security in the parking lot. IT IS NOT SAFE to leave your car there anymore.

Chose this hotel because of the pool and it was great. It was hard to overlook the leaking spots in the adjoining hallways and in the pool area though but with the glass roof above the pool it had to be difficult to prevent the drips. The pool water was too cold for me to get used to but my son got all the way in. The room was pretty good but we couldn't turn the heat down—it was tolerable though. The bathroom was outstanding—it was huge and the shower & water pressure was great. The closet gave a good place to get luggage out of the way. The bed was super comfortable. The hallways had pictures of Milwaukee throughout—loved it. The breakfast buffet was pretty good. Very roomy seating area. The food was above average and was replenished right away. The staff was super friendly throughout our entire stay. Definitely will stay here again!!

This our go to hotel for when we fly out Milwaukee. We like the convenience, the shuttle and the restaurant next door. However, when we flew out in December we had a bad front desk encounter and then no follow-up. We checked in and I had to give my driver's license to check in. I did not get it back. I got my credit card. There was so much paperwork. I did not realize it. We were flying with passports so I did not need it. They had it and could have come to my room and given it to me. We checked in at 3. But they did not. I did not realize I did not have it until I got home 2 weeks later. I looked through everything and finally called the hotel. I was told it was in the drawer. I was looking for it because I have a flight coming up I need it for. I asked for it to be sent out priority mail to secure it not to be stolen in the mail. I even gave a credit card for it to be sent that way. I did not get a call from management. They sent it out regular mail, with a $20 off your next visit Sunday through Friday. Also a card on how was my visit? No explanation. I have to now worry about my identity being stolen because of their mistake. I do realize I did not account for it being not given back to me. However, I was a registered guest. Call me to come to the front desk and pick it up. Also, call m about the incident and explain what happened. Do not hide behind your mistake. I am a Diamond member.

Clean comfortable, safe place to stay. I stayed 2 nights while visiting the city. I would stay here again. Breakfast was really good for being free! Pool is nice. Staff are friendly. The only issue I had was parking. The parking lot was full even after typical check out time. I had a hard time finding a place to park the three days and two nights I was staying here.

My husband and I had a great stay in Milwaukee this week. Despite the cold temperature, the hotel pool was warm and inviting, the staff was warm and friendly and the breakfast was warm and tasty. We had a great overnight and plan to come back again!

Otilia, our housekeeper was amazing! She made sure our room was clean and that we had everything we needed. Beds were nice and made, bathroom impeccable. If you stay here request Otilia as your housekeeper. She did an awesome job!

The pre-check in, staff and shuttle were all great. The hotel is remodeling but the place looked great. Comfortable and clean room and the sports bar/restaurant had good food! The hotel is minutes to Milwaukee airport and that worked great for our very early AM flight out!

Always clean, staff friendly and helpful, beautiful pool and good location to navigate through the city. I have stayed here many times and have never had a bad experience. I come to Milwaukee on business yearly and will always stay here based on the above mentioned.

Everything was great - the staff, check in, online reservations, breakfast, the pool, hot tub. Except when it came time to spend in the room itself. The room heating system was so incredibly drying that I woke up with chapped lips and sore throat. Won't go back unless I bring a humidifier.

We checked in in the evening to catch a flight the next morning. All the staff was great and friendly. Bed was comfy! Breakfast was great. I would highly recommend this hotel. The location was great for access to the airport.

I knew that the rooms were nice, however, this time I was able to visit the bar/lounge and I was so impressed, the prices and the staff we so amazing. I will return soon! I will also refer this place to all my associates. The pool is huge, the hot tub is great!

I've stayed at this hotel for over 6 years the last 3 times have been so bad I won't be back. I used to love this hotel. The hotel has been going down hill quickly . Bad service, not getting my email confirmations, and most of all waiting up to 45 minutes to get a ride back from the airport after I called fo a ride. There Park N Ride program is terrible. No food at the express breakfast. The hotel is only 5 minutes away and they are constantly running late all the time. I left a message for the manager to call me prior to this review and of course no call. I don't usually write a review but It's not worth the price for the issues you will deal with.

Good place, good price and also there is some room for improvement. The nice pool need some hours for adults only. Fridge in the room needs to get defrost from time to time. Location is great specially for airport customers. Very friendly staff working around.

The stay here is always great. They have a 24 hour airport shuttle that I use Every time I stay. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The staff are always nice and helpful. It has a pretty good restaurant and bar.

The breakfast was nasty food was cold and the bed was not soft enough and they hounded my kids about wearing a waistband to swim in pool and they only allow 4 waistbands per room also i didn't know about the deposit policy until i arrived

I've stayed at this motel 2-3 times a year for the last 19 years and recommended it to family and friends. It has gone downhill the last 3+ years. The room I checked into had not been cleaned. Food on table, dirty sock in bathroom, trash cans full. I was moved to another room. There was only 3 Kleenex left and no additional box available. Corners were not cleaned. They forgot to move my wakeup call to new room. Negative experience.

We arrived at the hotel and were given a room near the pool - the hotel has a very odd configuration. The first room had a very strong cigarette smell so we went back to the desk and asked for a different room. We were given a different room in the same area and had the same problem. At this point, we specifically asked for a room in the newer section of the hotel and were accommodated. At first the room seemed fine but upon closer inspection, the room had not been thoroughly cleaned in a while. There was food spilled between the bed and chair that was obviously very old. Not sure why this is considered a "Plus" property but it shouldn't.

I never do these reviews, however, I want to give big props to the staff at the restaurant section at the hotel. Kenya in particular. Food ordered was fast, drinks were on point - they even had my personal favorite bourbon Woodford Reserve... All in all, it was a great experience and I will be staying here from now on just for Aviator...

Friendly staff, pleasant, lots of smiles. Wake-up call was received on time, addressed my call to front desk promptly. Check-out easy. Need to change type of bed pillows used!! Very uncomfortable to sleep on. Room was clean and quiet

Always great service and quality here. Shuttles are always clean, polite drivers and helpful. The bar/restaurant always has a great selection of good food and wonderful help staff. Pool area was clean.

We stayed here due to the airport shuttle. Shuttle was good getting us to the airport in the early a.m. However, terrible on pick up. We had the last flight into airport. Landed at 10:20 p.m. It took several calls to get someone to answer. When we finally reached the desk, she said someone would be there in 10 min. We waited approx 20 min. & called back. We were told he should be there any minute. Waited another 10 min. Called back & this time told that they had no one to shuttle so will call the sister hotel. She hung up before telling what shuttle to look for. Called back again. This time a man answered & told us someone from the Clarion would be picking us up. We were the last people left at airport shuttle. Clarion driver was very nice. He couldn't believe no one could pick us up from Best Western. We ended up waiting for 40 min. for three min. a shuttle ride back to the hotel to pick up our car. Hotel itself was fine but the shuttle service and front desk in answering phone calls was terrible.

Nice lobby and large well done rooms with in hotel lounge and restaurant. Tried this du to a Hotels com pricing special and it was a nice deal and place although a bit out of my normal lodging zone. Roomy and great internet but the TV channel arrangement is a bit hard to figure... but lots of HD channels.

We stayed here the night before out flight out of MKE. The rooms are old/rundown, and truly the sleep and fly rate doesn't do a good job of reflecting that. We had a water leak in our room, we were moved, but I wish the staff would've been a little nicer about the ordeal. BUT - they are saying it'll go through an upgrade, so once that's done this will be a place to stay. It's just so close to MKE. Our shuttle to the airport was on time both ways and the drivers were very nice and helpful.

Close to airport. Friendly staff. Room was good and spacious. Breakfast was good with a lot to choose from. They have a separate dining area for breakfast. Some rooms overlook pool area and was nicely set up.

Hotel is dingy and outdated. The rooms were not ready when we checked in and did not experience any sense of urgency from staff to mitigate the situation. There were two robberies at the hotel during the course of our stay. Hotel is located in an unsafe neighborhood.

We stayed at this hotel as part of a baseball tournament. The entrance and lobby are nice. Gives you a good feeling walking in. Employees are nice and very personable. They handed me the keys and walked to my room. That is when I started to get a bad feeling. It is a very old hotel they are trying to update. It has a smell about it that did not sit well with me and had me worried as a got to my room. I was on the first floor by the pool. I opened the door and that is when it hit me. There was a smell from the room that was not good. I immediately went back to the front desk to ask for another room. They accommodated me. Got to my new room a few doors down. SAME SMELL. I noticed a window and hoped it could open. It could. I opened it and propped the door open to get some air through. The floor was dirty, walls grimy, bathroom hasn't been updated in 40 years. The toilet was 12 inches off the ground. Great for my 2 year old, impossible for a tall person. I travel for a living. Stay at all the brands. Best Western needs to yank this places franchise. I haven't even mentioned the location. Close to the airport, yes, but during our visit, there was a robbery from one of the rooms. I got lucky, the robbers punched out a first floor window in back and got in. Robbed the room while people were away. If you do find yourself staying at this hotel for some un-Godly reason, do not stay on the first floor. I will finish with how I started. The employees are very nice. What I have come to expect in the Midwest.

excellent location to fly out great shuttle service. Room needed some tender loving care. Bed a little soft for me. Staff was wonderful. Pool looked inviting but was too tired to use it. Very quiet where we were located in the hotel Yeah!

Hotel is close to the airport - but very outdated. Rooms need a makeover - lots of noises. Breakfast buffet is included and good. Dining is available and food is ok - sports bar is good. Rooms are clean - but need a facelift

Plan left early morning but the hotel offers a grab and go breakfast which I haven't experienced before. It was nice to be able to grab some food and drink. Nice shuttle drivers. Liked that a restaurant was attached to hotel.

Hotel was alright, not one of the best, Best Western's I have stayed at. It definitely needs updated, cleaned better, and friendlier staff that explain things to you. Especially since they are by the airport.

Pros: convenient to airport, shuttle to and from airport, good hot breakfast. Big pool. Cons: can hear the airplanes overhead, especially in early AM. The facilities are dated, and pricing reflects this.

I have been in the food and beverage industry for 15 years now, so when someone goes above and beyond it's something I take notice of and make sure they are recognized for it. Ricco met us at the front desk, extremely welcoming and new his job well. When he found out we were beginning our honeymoon, he went above and beyond to make sure our stay, even though only about 8 hours , was a perfect start. In an industry where good help is sometimes very hard to find and making sure people keep the standard, he is one of those rare individual's that surpass the expectation. Thanks Ricco!

No coffee maker in room but had supplies to make coffee. Asked the front desk for a coffee maker but they did not follow through. Cleaning crew did not clean room after first night and people had attitude at first when asked to do so. No cold water in bathroom sink. Ceiling above shower leaking water. Carpet in room had holes. 2 queen beds in room...one was obviously in poor condition. Appeared to not have been renovated in over 20 years. Indoor pool was fantastic!

I would rate the facilities as average and the service as excellent Hence the "very good" rating. The hotel is showing its age, but is embarking on a multi-million dollar renovation. Its outstanding feature is the excellent service it offers. One server at the restaurant in particular, Carrie Wilson, went out of her way to be helpful to our family group.

No single MAJOR problem but 15 small problems equals a worn out hotel. Courtyard and pool are very nice but the rooms are beat. Tub, shower, are rough (peeling), plumbing leaked all over bathroom floor, spiders (not a big deal, but why are they here?), mattresses were the single biggest problem. They were terrible - just terrible. Time for new ones. Curtains - may sound petty but why are they just small enough to let MOST of the city lights into the room? And why do they "puff up" everytime the A/C kicks on? Can't we get curtains that fit? Close to the airport. Apparently they know this so they dont care about the other stuff.

The hotel is nice, but it really needs updates. The gym is awful. The equipment does not work and is extremely outdated. The staff was friendly. Make sure you use the safety locks because the deadbolt was not working properly.

This hotel is very close to the airport and close to highways!!! The breakfast buffet is wonderful!! The pool area is lovely!!! Overall a great location and nice hotel!!! I would stay there again!! Thanks!!!

Excellent service from Jessica (bartender)!! Never had to wait. Recommended (Aviator) for a stop if you are near the Airport. Sports theme and happily not too loud. Good selections for a local bar. I will return.

at check-in the computer was down, receptionist took my i.d. on a piece of paper, didn't like that. gave me a room with no chair, table, or sofa. had a desk and computer chair. not very comfortable. room was changed in the morning.the sink and tub drain plugs didn't work. some of the electrical outlets didn't work. great bed. room was very clean. very nice facility. very good complimentary breakfast. Quiet! overall a good place to stay.overall the room was spacious and pleasant. need to pay more attention to the maintenance of their rooms. I would stay there again.

The worst stay I have ever had at a hotel. Noise was awful, front desk did nothing. We have little kids trying to sleep and the room next to us was having a party and after a dozen calls to the front desk we had to finally call the local police ourselves. They were teenagers and were very rude. Finally at 3am we were able to get some quiet.

We stayed as a hotel guest at this location and also attended a wedding rehearsal dinner and a wedding reception that was catered by the hotel. The hotel is nice and clean. The rooms are very nice. The pool and hot tub area is very well laid out. The conference area and the restaurant areas are very nice. The food that was catered was very well prepared and tasted excellent. I would recommend this facility for anyone looking for a nice facility to have a reception, party, conference, business meeting, etc.

We stayed here one night because it is very close to the airport and the price was reasonable. The staff is very friendly and there is a free shuttle to the airport. However, our room was dark, musty and the furniture was old. The motel overall is tired and in need of updating. I am shocked that this has the "plus" designation by BW.

This hotel has an excellent indoor terrace by the pool. This hotel is always so accommodating that I have stayed at it numerous times before for getaway weekends and recovering from medical procedures. A wonderfully relaxing and social place. This hotel has everything for entertainment and I'm a bad sleeper and I sleep excellent at this Hotel.

I belong to a local Harley Davidson HOG group in Iowa in which we planned a stay in Milwaukee to attend the National HOG rally in August 2017. Via email from our local HOG Chapter chairman, I was provided a link to book a stay at BW Milwaukee Airport Hotel. The link in the email did not work, it would just spin and not connect to a site. So, I called the BW Milwaukee Airport Hotel to make a reservation for one of the rooms blocked for our HOG chapter. The person I spoke with knew nothing about this block of rooms or the rate of $98.00 per night that we were to receive. Frustrated, I didn't know what to do. I searched other places to reserve a room at this hotel as that was where our friends were going to stay. On Booking.com, I was able to book a reservation for 3 days starting August 30th 2017. A couple weeks later we found our group was not going to leave until August 31st 2017. My friend and I did not want to travel alone on our motorcycles so I looked on my receipt from Booking.com and there was a link to “change dates” on the reservation. I clicked the link and it would not allow me to change my arrival date on line - it said I was not allowed! However, on this same receipt, it stated “Need help with your reservation? Contact the property at 14147692100.” This is exactly what I did. I explained that I needed to change my arrival date but the Booking.com site is not allowing me to do this – can you help me?” The girl on the phone was very polite and booked me for arrival on 08/31 instead of 08/30. I specifically asked if there was anything else I needed to do and made sure I was not going to be charged for the prior booking. She said no and verbally gave me my new confirmation number, and emailed me a hard copy of this. My guest and I only stayed two nights at this facility and returned home on 09/02. When I got home, I looked at my online checking account and found that they did indeed charge me for the room on 08/30 (a total of $106.81)! To rectify this, I called this BW Hotel and talked with their bookkeeper Patty Flynn (who was very rude to me) and stated that since I did not cancel my guest in the room on 08/30, I was changed for a no show! I argued that when I cancelled myself for 08/30, why would they think my guest would still want the room? Only to be asked if I received a cancellation number – which I did not have – and told there was nothing they could do and to contact Booking.com. I have been trying to find contact information for Booking.com and cannot find any. But it was BW that took the money out of my checking account, not Booking.com and therefore I want my money returned to me. Obviously, this is nothing but a bunch of misunderstandings on both parties. But the thing of it is, I did call them to cancel the 08/30 reservation and told it was. I thought I did everything that I was supposed to do. Long story short, I am still trying to get my money returned to me. In the meantime, I advise that you do not use Booking.com or stay at the BW Milwaukee Airport Hotel. Once they have your card information, it is no telling what they will take out of your account!

The staff was friendly, hospitable and caring. They took care of the needs we brought to their attention in a professional manner and in a reasonable time. On the flip side, the hotel was in very poor shape. A few examples are: 1) The first room we had was not cleaned properly. There were sunflower seeds all over the carpet and hair in the bathroom. The front desk attendant was apologetic and gave us another room. That room was better, but the AC unit's coils were dirty and had a slight leak with mold growing on it. 2) I went to use the exercise facility, but the all-in-one machine was out of order, as well as the room was filthy. The machine was in bad shape apart from it not working and the exercise room did not appear to get much attention. 3) The breakfast items were nice and there was a great variety. The uncleanness of the rest of the hotel, the dinginess of the restaurant, the older carpet, etc. made me wonder what kind of condition the kitchen was in, so I didn't eat much. I would not stay there again unless they do some major remodeling/upgrades.

I am retired Army and a disabled veteran with a son with severe special needs who is in a wheelchair and I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel!!! However, breakfast was very good and the staff in the kitchen was nice. Stephanie was very nice to me! Thank you! Summary of my stay: 1. Given a room with a dirty bathroom with other ethnic hair all over shower walls, curtain and floor. 2. Could not easily open room door. It was extremely heavy and stuck to the frame, It also never closed to a lock. I had to pull it hard in order for it to lock and not just close. Even the maintenance man said the door was heavy and sticks. This caused more pain to my severely injured arm and dominant arm. 3. Unable to print in business center and tried to work without bothering hotel staff. I literally had to stand for more than 30 minutes in the front lobby working on personal documents containing sensitive information. (The night manager kept coming out looking at me making me feel uncomfortable! It was like I was taking too long but I tried to work on this business stuff in the business center.) 4. Young man I think Joe, kept trying to send my faxes from the front printer and could never provide a confirmation page. When a confirmation page finally printed it said NG. I told him that it did not go through and that's not where the other guy sent the fax from. He kept saying that's where to send faxes and that the machine was not providing confirmation pages. I asked him a few times, "How will I know if my payroll went through? I have to have a confirmation page. He said there was nothing that he could do. Onya faxed them from the office the next day for me and provided confirmation pages. What if I missed my fax deadline though? 5. Your staff acted as if I was getting on their nerves and I was simply asking for the things your hotel says it offers!) 6. I understand that the hotels have to make repairs and/or renovations but I was jarred out of my sleep before 9 am because your staff was making repairs to the pool area. 7. The orange juice machine was broken at least 2 days while I was there. 8. I was charged more than what I was supposed to pay. 9. Housekeeping refuse to take trash from room because her trash bag was almost full and I had to carry it around the hotel to find another housekeeper to help. 10. Was promised late check out and that didn't happen. 11. Could not get into the handicap door exit 3, can only get out. 12. Front desk kept putting me on hold and then transferring me to different voice mails when I tried to discuss the bill. 13. Left a message for Millard Ellis to return my call from over a week ago. Plus I emailed him over a week ago and he has not responded to either so I could discuss the charges. BEWARE! DON'T STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!! I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

We stay here every time we fly out of the Milwaukee airport as it is across the street. We always use the Stay and Fly package - very good value if your trip is over 1 week. Great pub/lounge to eat dinner and relax. Reliable shuttle service and clean room. Awesome complementary breakfast buffet!!

We booked at a great rate, pool side room, full (free) breakfast, friendly staff, close to airport and clean king room all combined for a good stay. This is not a fancy place but is a great value and well worth a look for an impromptu stay live we had over Labor Day weekend.

We stayed at the Best Western Plus the night before we flew out for vacation. We were looking for a place to sleep close to the airport where the car could be parked and we could get a ride. We got so much more. Room was nice and clean. Comfy beds. The pool area clean. The pool water was nice and warm. Staff was friendly. Morning breakfast was tasty. The shuttle got us to the airport and back the hotel timely.

Stayed two nights here. This motel appears to have been here for many years, but still a very nice motel. Nice pool and better than average breakfast buffet. Our room was clean and comfortable beds. Best of all, we booked at a reasonable rate. We will stay again on our way back in our travel.

The good: Anthony would check the bed to see if the linens were clean (they were) and if the bed was comfortable. It was. Breakfast buffet was quite decent. The bad: Anthony would ream these folks for not having enough plug ins for charging electronics! This is 2017, people! I shouldn't have to craw under the bed to find that one outlet behind the headboard. (Yeah, there was that lamp with a plug-in that didn't "hold" the cord - it kept falling out.) The ugly: Anthony would fire half the staff (the ones who have no idea of the HOSPITALITY industry.) We asked for a block of rooms, for over 20 people coming in for a funeral. I'm not sure what a "block" is, but we were scattered hither and yon. All ends of the halls, on 3 different floors. That's ok, just give us a meeting room so we can have pizza together, and laugh and cry together. No. The meeting room is set up for a conference on Thursday. What? It was Monday. And they wouldn't let us use a room. So we met in the hallway. Because, hello, we all came from 7 or 8 states & wanted to catch up with each other. And laugh and cry together. And then security came & dispersed the crowd. We were not allowed to talk in the hallway. Un-freaking-believable. And the conference room they wouldn't let us use stayed empty. No compassion for the grieving? Wow. Just wow. I've stayed in Best Westerns before. They'd be embarrassed to have their name on this one. Did not feel welcome at all. I would not recommend this hotel. Sorry.

I stayed here after a trip because the hotel was close to the airport. Good value overall: free parking, wi-fi and buffet breakfast, which included eggs & sides, toast, English muffins, pancakes, waffles, cereal, fruit, granola, nuts, dried fruits, yogurt, different kinds of coffee and milk (incl. soy), etc. The room was spacious and comfortable. The door, carpets and bathroom were a bit old but the room was clean overall and the beds were comfortable. The hotel has a pretty large indoor pool and jacuzzi surrounded by lounge chairs and a sitting area, which I didn't use. There is also a restaurant on site and the front desk staff were nice and helpful. I would probably stay here again for comfort, convenience and value.

The shabbiest Best Western I have ever stayed at and I've stayed at many over the past 40 years. I have no idea why Best Western allows its brand name to be displayed on this property. The room looked disheveled upon entry. Every lampshade crooked, drapes bunched up. I went to straighten the drapes and discovered that the carpet had not been vacuumed behind the chair for months. Thick dust, debris, a part of a candy bar wrapper. A door was missing on the bedside table. All the furniture looked 20 years old. The shower flashed from very hot to very cold several times during showers. We didn't bother with breakfast. We just wanted out as soon as possible. We will never stay at this Best Western again.

Alarm clock was set to the wrong time so the alarm didn't go off and we missed our flight. Didn't receive a courtesy call when we missed our airport shuttle either. Pool is closed for retiling, couldn't get the treadmill to work (tried to reset it by unplugging and found the outlet and cord plug had been tampered with-huge NoNo!), elliptical also couldn't be adjusted, breakfast was okay except for the bad cantaloupe.

Stayed one night here before flying to Seattle. Having already stayed in multiple Best Western's on this tour, this was a drop in standard. It is very tired looking and in need of upgrade. Beds were best part of the rooms but carpets, bathroom and doors all very worn/aged. Fitness room is not fit for purpose with broken equipment and no room to have a proper work out. Upgrade required to meet standard of other Best Western Hotels

The room was dirty, Hair in the sink, Old beds that didn't even match. Carpet lifting and bunched up in room. Just over all dirty and smells of mildew. Both rooms that I stayed in were in about the same condition. Only reason I stayed there the second time was because It is very close to the airport and I had a very early flight. Would have expected a room like this for $39.99 but definatley not for $140.00

I booked a weekend a month in advance and tried to use Diamond Member points. I was told only one night would count and the other I would have to pay for because the Hotel didn't have free nights on that Saturday. I said fine and paid for the second night. This led to two reservations, both made and paid in full at the same time a month early. Despite this, I was told at check-in that I needed to check out the next morning and then back in again for the second night. Oh and also change rooms because they were overbooked. When asking what I could have possibly done any differently to avoid this situation, the following conversation took place. Me: I had to book on-line because to use the points for a free night, you have to do it that way so the proper points value ratio to a specific hotel can be calculated. Front Desk Guy: Yes Sir Me: So I had to do it that way? Front Desk Guy: Yes Sir So i followed the rules, booked the nights, and paid for the one I couldn't get free because you guys here overbooked the night correct? Front Desk Guy: Yes Sir Me: so then I did everything I was supposed to. Booked a month up front. Paid up front, and you are STILL telling me I need to run around checking in and out AND change rooms? Is that what you're telling me? Front Desk Guy: Yes Sir Me: Are you JUST going to stand there saying Yes Sir until I give up and not even try to fix this? Front Desk Guy: When it's time, we will help you move rooms Sir. At this point I am so frustrated I am considering walking away and saying just refund me except it is within 24 hours and the Hotel by rule doesn't have to refund me, so... if I do that I would have been out the free night and the money I paid due to their overbooking the place. The term "over a barrel with your pants down" is about how I felt here. So I signed where they told me to sign and went to my less than 24 hour room. The room had a light burned out in it, and no HBO despite a clear indication that they did have it available. After what I had just endured, I wasn't feeling too confident in getting either of these things fixed so we didn't even try calling anyone...especially the front desk. The next morning when we went to check out, and back in and explained the whole situation to a new front desk staff, the new staff member, a lovely woman named "ONYE" apologized profusely and said that was not acceptable treatment of a guest. Within 3-minutes, she had fixed it and told us "You do NOT have to move rooms. She then offered us coupons for the lounge area food and drinks, apologized again and left us feeling appreciated and valued. So how do I even begin to recommend this place? Well, in the last three years of staying there, I have had some problems like room issues but NEVER anything like the issue of that first night. Generally Hotels have people like ONYE who save the day for them and in this situation that is exactly the case. I still don't know if we will ever stay in THAT particular Best Western again, and that is unfortunate because one guy ruined three years worth of time with one seemingly uncaring encounter. It shows why Hotels preach EVERY time is an important time. In conclusion, this two day situation should have been a training video for all new Hotel people on the very right and very wrong way to handle a situation. I did NOT get the first gentlemen's name or I would have quoted that in the story as well but one final time Best Western Milwaukee Airport staff member "ONYE" saved the day big time in my opinion.

Front desk clerk, less than friendly - very impatient. When asked about senior discount, she got impatient. Ultimately, she misunderstood and reserved a handicapped room for us - so when are 63 year-old people automatically handicapped! Shower went hot and cold constantly. Floor was sticky along tables and dresser - one spot looked like gum. HBO did not show up via the remote, even though a schedule was on the table - when I called the front, they paused, then said, oh, sorry we don't have HBO - a family member stayed there a week before and watched movies on HBO - go figure. The Aviator restaurant was great! Very friendly service and great food. Breakfast was good. And for pillows they have small square sofa pillows - not good.

Honestly when compared to my other stays or visits to other BWs, this one was a bit of a disappointment. Unsupervised minors/children in parking lot after 10 pm, custodians speaking of customers when they think we don't understand their language.

The Best Western at the Milwaukee airport was relaxing and clean. the staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. they told us places to eat and sights to see in Milwaukee. They told us things that were happening in town while we were there. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Stay here every time I'm in town. Never had a bad experience. Tried other hotels near the airport in the past and none compared. Entire staff from front desk to restaurant and lounge have been excellent. Can't wait to come back.

If you're in town for a day or two, this is ok. Breakfast buffet was the best thing about my visit. Second best was the adult grilled cheese in the bar/restaurant attached to hotel. Otherwise this hotel is in need of updates, carpeting, paint, etc. Loud on the weekends. If you are in town for a ball game or overnight business trip this might be ok. Would not be my first choice if/when I come back.

The only good thing was the breakfast in the morning other then that I would pass, plenty of other options in the area to stay at. Very noisy, room service forgot things, front desk did not do what they promised

The staff was great! Helpful, curtious, friendly. Shuttle service to the airport was great. The hotel interior felt dated. The blankets on the bed were dirty. Sheets were clean. No bed bugs. Good enough for an overnight stay but expected a little more for the price.

Stayed to catch a flight out the next morning! Had a great experience, beds were very comfortable, room very clean! Would highly recommend to others! Would stay for sure again! I do have the rewards program!

After a week long 'vacation' attending a wedding in Michigan, it was nice to just relax by the pool, order some room service, and sit down for an evening cocktail. The staff was excellent. Highly recommend to anyone travelling through the area.

Was pleasantly surprised by this one after reading so many negative reviews. Pool is nice and whirlpool is viciously bubbly. May be a little dirty in the halls and on floors but the pros outweigh the cons overwhelmingly.

The hotel was in serious disrepair. The elevator was the creepiest ever! We got in and you felt you were trapped in a coffin, we picked our floor and the elevator seemed to move, made a ton of creaking noises and a drop. However, the door didn't open until we hit the open door button and we had gone nowhere. Check in person was friendly but that is all they had going for them. We had 3 registered guests but only received 2 breakfast coupons. Pool looked nice but we couldn't get over the dingy appearance of everything else so we took off asap the next morning.

Room was dirty, shower couldn't make up its mind if it wanted to be hot or cold. Used band aid on floor in room human poop in hallway near pool . This hotel was quite disappointing. If you have any other options use them

Cleanliness was poor rooms cleaner than hallways. Room vent had cigarette smell. Location was easy to get to. Lobby and bar were professional looking. Pool was a good temp. Chairs in pool area were old and torn

I've stayed at this hotel alot in my years, but this time was horrible! The shower was great until I had it on the cool side then out of nowhere, it got boiling hot and burned my foot! Then the van that picks people up from the airport, speeded out of the parking lot with one of the drivers friends and almost hit my wife! Told the front desk and they didn't seem to care, then I told the general public about all this and other issues, and he didn't seem to care either!!! I seriously wish I could get a refund and take that money else where!!!

Requests not honored received room way in back of hotel. Possibly renovation not done yet?? Bedding wore out torn, lumpy. Shower inop switched temp cold to scalding on its own. Breakfast staff not attentive allowed dishes to pile up on table. Staff drained orange juice for another event in hotel. One server tactfully placed a five dollar bill in tip jar!

I booked two roooms for 6 family members through the AAA website for 7 nights. Although the cost was quite high for two rooms for one week, the setting and most amenities were just fine. The only problem I had while visiting them at the pool was: no working vending machine, no working games in the kids game area, no lobby coffee and no working laundry for my family members to use!!!! Everything was broken, alll at once. The rooms were nice sized and looked recently remodeled. My family thought the beds were very comfortable. The pool area was very nice, too. My only complaint was I feel I should have been offered a bit of a discount for booking two rooms for seven nights.....

I feel that this motel was misrepresented as a Best Western Plus property. It was substandard in many areas: - dirty/well worn public areas and room bathroom - Pool closed early on arrival and closed in the morning on next day - Rude behavior from desk & room service stafft aggravated my bad knee - Beds were worn out/too soft - Did not receive Rewards Member Express Checkout (bill under door) - Room phones did not work - AC Power outlets inop in room

Service was excellent. The staff at the desk, in the bar, and on the shuttle were wonderful. This is an older hotel that could use some attention. Water collected on the window ledge from the AC hitting the hot window, the room had a bit of a musty smell, the tiny elevator was very slow, the shower had hot and cold faucets mixed up, and the bed was not very comfortable. Despite those short comings, I wouldn't hesitate to come back. It was perfect for us since; we didn't need anything fancy, only stayed the night until our flight the next day, and needed a place to leave our car. Because we got our room directly from Best Western, rather than a 3rd party, we were not charged extra for the car to stay there for 5 days. Pick up at the airport after our return was fast and easy; we got a ride to our waiting car. If you need a clean room and a place to keep your car while you are gone, I recommend the Milwaukee Best Western Plus.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean with a nice pool and hot tub. There is an attached bar/restaurant with another across the street. It is "biker" friendly (they gave us a towel (to keep) to wipe off the bike in the morning and allowed us to pull the motorcycle under the canopy to protect it from the weather and to help ensure safety). Overall I would recommend this hotel to everyone and would stay again.

To start, the elevator is a good long walk, through the pool area, from the front desk. When I got to the room, neither of the room keys worked - I was later told there had been a problem for the past few days with the key maker.....I waited 10 minutes for someone to come and let me in. Once in, the light switch immediately on the inside did not work so I bumbled around in the dark until I found one that did work. The sink tap was on back ward, so the hot water was on the right and cold on the left.....the shower did not work at all until I literally punched the tap to get it turn on. The TV was likely satellite of some sort and only ran retro shows. Bathroom door was cracked, the furniture was scratched - on and on. Most definitely not a hotel I would chose again nor recommend.

Property is poorly maintained billing is inaccurate and breakfast is mediocre hospitality is also poor it was equivalent to a motel 6 would not stay again not a good value for the price and main areas were very dirty

We had 4 rooms for a conference in Milwaukee. This property is older and it shows, Little things like split door frames and access doors that did not work properly. However the hotel desk staff were excellent and the rooms quiet and very comfortable. Internet was good, as was the breakfast, although the breakfast wait staff were not very motivated or helpful. The hotel is very close to the airport, and has excellent access to same. I would stay there again, but the hotel badly needs renovation and a second elevator much closer to the lobby would be nice.

Close to airport, nice place, staff was very good and the shuttle was on time and fast. Did not hear any take offs overnight being close to the airport this was a big plus. Would stay again if and when I return to Milwaukee.

We LOVE this hotel. Great bar!! Best breakfast included that we have seen so far. Food is awesome & quite the variety for breakrast. Also, the shuttle is service to airport is extremely great. Great service!!! We ALWAYS stay here when travelling!!

This property has gone downhill to the point that I will check out nearby hotels in the future. Very worn. Restaurant was closed upon our arrival. Airport shuttle is great. Staff is great. This property badly needs renovating.

My stay at the best western was exactly what I expected. The service was great and the room was very clean. I did not enjoy the breakfast. It was not a lot to chose from and it upset my stomach. All in all I'll give the stay an 8/10. The lobby could have been cleaned better.

The Breakfast buffet has everything most hotels have but it includes chorizo sandwiches too!! The pool area is top tier and you want be disappointed! The have a lounge and bar area that is open after the buffet closes. Don't misa out....

Great service and accommodations. Restaurant and staff there was wonderful. We chose this motel as it has the "stay and park" feature and we were traveling on vacation for 2 weeks. It also allowed us to relax before going to the airport the next day, as well as unwinding on our trip home.

Clean hotel. Loved the poolside room and video games. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Loved having a fridge and microwave in room. Easy to get to and from our baseball field destination. Love when breakfast is included with our room stay!

Big contrast to the last Best Western I stayed in. The staff was great (Rico in particular) and had an airport shuttle (sign was a piece of paper taped on the outside door of the van) but the hotel is in much need of renovations. I didn't see an elevator to the second floor and the main hallway stairs were sketchy as the boards felt like they were weak and shifting as I walked on them. The room was OK, the floors were dirty where the vacuum couldn't get and the bathroom is really outdated. The bathroom door showed a lot of water damage that likely has occurred slowly over the years. Wasn't the worst airport hotel I have stayed in but it left a lot to be desired.

We had a wonderful stay. The pool was very nice, great to relax in. They have an outstanding breakfast with many healthy choices. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Great location to stay at and take the shuttle to get to the airport easily. We will definitely stay here again!!!

The room was ok. The bathroom looked like they chose the cheapest company to remodel. Bad paint job. Ugly counters. But the as everybody has stated, definitely a huge selection at breakfast. Maybe the best free breakfast around. The pool was bathwater warm.. 80°. Great tropical room with huge glass ceiling. But they definitely need to do something about the hair in the pool. Does the filter not work right? We had no issues with the airport noise. The whole part of town is either nostalgic or run-down, depending on your taste. I found it charming. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. 10 minute drive to the beach.

We had 2 rooms booked. Check in was a breeze - the young lady was very friendly and helpful. My room was poolside which meant it was a little noisy for a while until the activity there slowed down. The room was a good size and very clean and inviting. There was a good sized work area. Bed was super comfortable - slept really well. The internet was strong and fast. Plenty of hot water in the shower with okay pressure. Lots of parking and the airport is right across the street. The hotel has it's own restaurant. There is a shuttle but I didn't use it this time. I will stay here again for sure next time I'm in town. Good value!

Hubs & I stayed here two days ago and were pleased overall. When you enter the lobby, it is lovely; this part of the hotel has been updated recently. The pool is really nice and covered----with a tropical vibe. Proximity to the airport is a plus as well, but we did hear several people grumbling about it's dependability. It's the rooms part of the hotel we now review: entrances at doors 3 & 4 were smelly & musty. The floors in those entries were dirty with some red substance smeared in blobs----even on the second & third days they were still there. The washing machine was broken & the desk offered no directions to a nearby laundry. Then came our room---there was no safety latch on our door. Were put on hold for over 15 minutes twice when reporting it. We finally just hung up and went by the front desk. The desk staff was always polite, but told us three times someone would show up to put one on, it didn't happen for 4 hours, but they did install a door safety latch. Best Western is switching to some small, square pillows---don't care for them, but would suggest they purchase cases to fit them & not just fold regular cases inward to fit them. Breakfast buffet was nice. I would stay here again, but hopefully these things are improved.

I do travel a lot. this Best Western does a great job on making the customer happy. the rooms are clean and they have a handy bar and restaurant. the staff is very helpful. and the rates are competitive.

We stayed at the Best Western Milwaukee Airport Hotel for two nights in early June. We chose that hotel because it was across the street from the Gen. Mitchell Airport where our son was flying in to join us in a family gathering. The price was also good compared to similar hotels in the Milwaukee area. The 2 queen beds were comfortable, and the room was clean and was fine for the 4 of us. The breakfast was a step up from usual hotel/motel breakfasts as they provide a breakfast buffet in the Aviator Bar attached to the hotel, which does not open as a bar until later in the day. The best thing about our stay was the indoor pool, which was wonderful. It is quite large, the water was just the right temp to be comfortable, it is in a sunlit room with lots of tropical plants which almost made us feel like we were in Hawaii! My hubby, son and I spent 2 or 3 hours there one morning. The only thing missing was bar service to bring us our mai tais! We left Milwaukee to head north for a family wedding and a few hundred miles later I realized I had left our bag with all our swimsuits, and my Kindle, somewhere in the hotel. Over the next few days I made several phone calls to the BW to report my missing articles. Front desk found nothing, but I had trouble getting anyone from housekeeping to call me back. I was just about to buy a new swimsuit and Kindle, when yesterday I got a call back from Natania in housekeeping who said she had found all my items which I must have left by the ice machine! She apologized for not responding sooner but she had been gone for a few days. Good news is they will be shipping all my lost items back to me ASAP! Good customer service which is much appreciated!

My airport shuttle I reserved was 40 minutes late and nearly caused me to miss my flight. The beds were lumpy and uneven and lead to a pretty poor night's sleep as well. Spending so much time in the lobby waiting for the shuttle allowed us to really note some cleanliness issues - wires were hanging all over the ATM and it was very off-putting. The saving grace was the lounge, which was in-house and convenient since I did not have access to transportation.

Although the hotel seems to be huge, it still is a good place to nod at the end of the day. There are three floors and it can take some time to get the configuration of the place. There is a huge pool area right in the midst of the property and it is IN the hotel, not outside of it. What is nice for children is the hotel's theater near the lobby that shows kid's movies. It's all included in the price. Rooms have good ventilation and nicely appointed with the usual things that one would expect. A very decent deal for your dollar. Surprisingly we did have any airport noise at all and this is from the top floor!

Fit what I needed as a convenient overnight at the airport with restaurant, bar/lounge, free Wi-fi and shuttle service. Staff was friendly and to-go breakfast in the lobby was available beginning very early in the morning. Buffet breakfast was later.

Outside and lobby areas are nice. Rooms are outdated and dirty. They have not been updated since it was built is the impression I got. Pool area was. It cleaned but could be a nice area. Stay and fly was a nice option.

We stayed here so that we could catch the shuttle to the airport at 3:30 am. The room was clean and adequate. Beds were ok. We didn't use the shower or eat the breakfast. There are no nearby restaurants so we ate at the Aviator, the restaurant onsite. It was literally the worst meal I have ever had in my life. There was one overwhelmed server. I ordered iced tea. She came back and said they were out. So I ordered club soda. She brought me Tonic Water! When I asked for a new drink, she got really defensive. Then a manager brought me iced tea, which I guess they had. It tasted like it had been brewed with toxic waste. So then I asked for a glass of water. It was brown and tasted terrible, so I finally went upstairs to our room and got a bottle of Smart water I had with me to drink. I ordered a burger and my husband ordered pasta. We got spaghetti for our 3 year old. All the good was too salty to eat much of and loaded with grease. We all felt terrible for two days after eating there. As far as rooms go, it was fine. My husband and I did not sleep well because we both had terrible stomach cramps after eating the restaurant food. If we had felt better, I think the beds would've been comfortable, and they had down comforters wrapped in sheets- no creepy bedspreads. The pool is nice but is the temp of hot bath water, so don't expect a refreshing swim. They had grab and go breakfast available for our early departure- we did not trust it if it came from the same kitchen as the restaurant, so we did not eat it. For the price, I would expect better.

We had a very nice time a time at the convention ,but when it came to our banquet food, it was way over priced for stir fry and the meat was tough that we couldn't cut or chew it. $26.00 for enough rice for three people and very little meat. This s needs to be addressed for future conventions. I heard a lot of complaints about the food. Also very short staffed for the dinner. Two people for 50 plus members.

I'm sure if you're aware the type of employees you have but you definitely have a precious one I believe Darnell is his name. Darnell instrumentally helped me in every possible way he provided a wheelchair for me to take me to breakfast then to my room then to my vehicle I also had an accident where I cut myself and boy Darnell was right there to the rescue I realize that he had a lot on his plate but when he personally took the time out for me it meant more than anything in the world so thank you best western for having such a hidden gem working at your hotel he's one who won't let you down

Me and my family came to milwaukee to go to the discovery center. It was a last minute trip so we made a last minute reservation called the number very easy to reserve the room we booked a 2 queen bed room that was handicap accessible. I also asked if I could pay in cash TWICE and reservation agent said that was fine. Arrived at hotel was greeted by RICO he asked me for a credit card and I told him I was going to pay cash and I would give him a card for incidentals. He then told me that this was not a "cash hotel" ( he made the air quotes) and then told me that my family would be more comfortable at a Super 8 or motel 6. All while he's smiling with lots of other guests in the lobby I was so embarrassed. I left and had to come back because we could not find an accessible room when I came back they had canceled my reservation or couldn't find it anymore so had to make me a new one. RICO then said to me "wow your back great" I told him that he had OFFENDED me and handled the situation very poorly and he stated " I don't understand what I did wrong... I'm the training manager" I did not say anything more... Then we got to our second floor room where was not a roll in shower, the a.c. did not work all night , the whole hotel was super hot they had all the windows open in the hallways, and we found food wrappers under our beds. Just can't believe this place can stay in business I WILL NEVER STAY AT A BEST WESTERN AGAIN.

I have stayed at this location before. The service overall is HORRIBLE !! front desk doesn't have a clue what they are doing, and very rude as well. The room itself was disgusting. Hair all over the bathroom. Hair on the sheets!!! I was shocked to find rotten food UNDER MY BED! I do not recommend this hotel to stay at. I've had the worst experience.

The good: front desk service was excellent. The okay: beds were comfy, room was nice, good pool, but avoid pool-level room (slightly musty carpet) The bad: almost nothing in vending machines The ugly: the attached restaurant -- bad, overpriced food, poor service, rude manager.

Basic hotel no problems - other guests were a little noisy but not enough to complain about. Nice pool though I didn't get to use it. A good choice for airport convenience. Might be a good place to bring the kiddos to splash around in a pool during the winter. Restaurant/bar on site was sufficient, kind of a sports bar so not super family friendly but OK for adults.

This was a Mother's Day weekend getaway and enjoyed myself very much! Clean room, clean pool and clean hot tub. The food service was very good and the bartender was great! The food was very good as well. I would visit again!

the person that helped me the most was this outstanding women name jazmine that was at the front desk, she helped me with everything and was a pleasure to look at, wonderful smile and personaility. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful

We stayed at this hotel because it was very convenient to the airport and we had a very late arrival at the airport. The hotel was nice with a lot of amenities but the staff was very pleasant and took care of all our needs.

Love the Best Western brand overall, and this was a perfect location for our recent flight out of MKE...clean, friendly staff, lovely pool area, very good breakfast and reasonable cost for our "stay and fly" experience!

While the decor is a bit dated, the hotel and it's staff are amazing. Very accommodating to their guests. I would stay there again. From the front counter folks to the shuttle drivers, they were all top knotch!

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at this property. They are very close to the airport. The rooms are clean and the staff is very accommodating. Having a free breakfast (with a good variety of hot and cold items) is definitely a plus!

Nice way to relax before getting on a plane. Nice bar/restaurant. Sweet hot tub. Very nice breakfast. Shuttle service to the airport was super fast. Can leave your car there while traveling. I would highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel the night of March 31, 2017 before flying out of Mitchell International for our anniversary trip to Mexico. The gentleman at the front desk checked us in quickly and efficiently -- he was very friendly (sorry I do not remember his name). He directed us to where our room was located and where we could park our vehicle for the week. Our room was large, clean and comfortable with a generous bathroom and shower; also a microwave, fridge and coffeemaker. Our room was also surprisingly quiet considering it's nearly across the street from the airport. Check out was simple in the morning and my husband grabbed a piece of fruit from the "grab and go" area as we were leaving too early to catch our plane to partake in the free breakfast. Shuttle was fast and efficient to and from the airport. Would highly recommend and stay here again.

Based on my research of this hotel I thought I picked the right place. I had to make 4 calls for repair of thermostat. when it was done it still did not work. Vending machines did not work and I did not get my wake up call therefore was late for a flight and it cost me $250 to make other flight arrangements.

Arrived at 2:50 PM was told by girl to come back in 10 minutes as guaranteed to be ready at 3:00. Not was told need another 20 minutes. Came back at 3:20 now long check in line waited was told still not ready come back in another 20 minutes. Came back at 3:40 waited in long line again as everyone else checking in now. Finally got to counter still not ready guy went on office and never came back. Then another guy came out and switched something around on computer and finally got into room at 4:00! Offers late check out to 1:00 then cleaning people walk into room at 11:45 with Do not Disturb on knob!

Booked two rooms to save me from having to get up at 3:30 AM and making the drive from Madison to Mitchell Int'l in Milwaukee to catch a 7 AM departure. This hotel has a great location, helpful front desk staff, and good wifi. In addition to the apparently clean linens, that was about it. This place is a bit rough on the inside, looks, feels, and smells, like a 1980's hotel. Outside had to of been remodeled somewhat recently. Good luck parking close to your room, upon entering door #8 the smell of old cigarette smoke was overpowering. Room was superficially clean, in simpler terms, don't walk on the carpet with white socks. Door has a interior swing style security lock and a deadbolt in addition to the regular keycard. I felt the need to use both and I rarely use the extra locks. Saw a used Q-tip on the carpet next to the trash can. With all this said it was cheap and I was very happy to wake up across the street from the airport the next morning.
