The hotel is not as close to the central station as you are led to believe from the description. We paid to upgrade to a superior room on a higher level which was very hot and dark and looked nothing like the superior rooms shown on the website. We asked if they had any other rooms to be told very rudely by Alberto on reception that there were not. After unpacking and approximately an hour later, we had a call from a lady who said we could look at two other rooms!! Consequently we moved rooms but the room was only slightly better, one of the main issues was the heat, the hotel advertises air conditioning but it would not work so asked reception why only to be told they don't put it on until mid April which was not specified anywhere! On the third night asked for a fan which when arrived only blew out hot air! The choice on the breakfast buffet was good but then on the last day all the scrambled eggs were off so they removed it! Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful but others were very abrupt and rude, when we checked out we were not even asked if everything had been ok during our stay! All in all the hotel was disappointing and we ended up having to get cabs everywhere as too far to walk.

Great hotel in the city center. Staff is really great. Umbrellas and powerbanks available. Great breakfast, clean and confortable rooms. We stayed for 3 nights and were able to visit Milano and also Como by train (Milano Centrale). We really recomend this perfect hotel.

Lovely hotel in a great location, we walked into town every day through the park. The staff were very helpful, breakfast was excellent with a variety for everyone. I had a single room, very clean , lovely shower.

I always read the reviews before I book, but this time I didn't, which was a rookie mistake. I may have not read the reviews, but I was definitely not disappointed. The hotel is very clean, the staff were polite and attentive. Our room 330, which was looking out to the other rooms which was not so bad, no view but at least you had the sun shining when it did. The location is very good, close to restaurants and amenities, it is 20-30mins walk from Duomo Cathedral and all the shopping you can think of. Trams and metro is short walking distance, we walked everywhere and even went to the park. The hotel breakfast was ok, just normal breads, cold meats, cereal, yogurt etc. it was just good to have to start your day. Overall the hotel and Milan were lovely, I would recommend for a short weekend break. Thanks for a nice time.

3 day/2night city break to Milan. This hotel is perfect !! Spotlessly clean, lovely ambience, lighting, chic and the whole stay was faultless. Easy location to access Metro at Porta Venezia, tram stops and buses. Only a 15 minute walk from the central train station. Lovely restaurants close by. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Stayed in room 206 small twin ! Extremely comfortable beds with heavenly products in the bathroom including shower gel, hand wash, shampoo. Non smoking room. It was compact but perfectly adequate for our needs. Situated on inner courtyard so very quiet and cosy. Breakfast was superb.. plenty of selection including fresh fruit salad, granola, yogurt selection, continental meats, cheeses, very tasty scrambled egg, boiled eggs, bacon and sausage. Great selection of croissants, bread rolls, cake. All plentiful and a bright and pleasant breakfast room on ground floor and the staff were efficient and courteous. Would most definitely stay here again in our next trip to Milan

Very EASY walking to shopping and many excellent restaurants nearby. Also very near to Centrale station.Superior Room was very nice. Spaciuos and clean.Amenitties like robe and slippers appreciated, also a fridge-minibar.

This was one of the nicest hotels we stayed in all week in different locations around Italy. Rooms were very spacious and immaculately clean. The outside sitting area was very comfortable, We would definitely stay here again.

Nice service and the staff is very nice and helpful. Walking distance to the center and very close to Venezia metro station. Also 5 minutes walk to train station in case you want to visit Verona which can be done in a day.

Our travel agent booked this hotel on our behalf, stating it was 4 star plus facility and centrally located, the room to be whilst functional was dark and not welcoming with tired fixtures and fiitings, especially the bathroom. The location whilst central to the main rail station some 10-15mins, the side street leading from the major road to the this hotel is a narrow street, with construction sites,vacant shops and very poorly illuminated at night, the pavement surfaces are broken and not ideal especially with a suitcase on wheels, I would strongly suggest a taxi from the main station would be the best way given these circumstances.

I was in room 425 please check AC system. It is working continuously without shooting down, Room gets too cold, we had to turn it off complexly to regulate temperature in the room. Beside this everything else I was satisfied with. thank You

Provided all the facilitated as expected BUT could add USB sockets for extra convenience. It is walkable to the central train station. Close enough to the metro station but if you wish, you can walk to the Duomo square.

The Hotel has everything you need in a pleasant, safe location. Nice bar downstairs and yummy breakfast. The staff were really helpful with info about local places and directions. It is close to heaps of restaurants and bars and is only about 10 minutes to Central Station. Highly recommend.

The staff was very polite and more than happy to help us with information about restaurants and the transportation. Very clean room! There was a variety of foods at the breakfast and was at reasonable hours. Totally recommend this!

The hotel is really nice. The beds are outstanding!!! Air conditioning works really well. The service at the bar was on par and happy hour snacks were good. One of my young adult kids accidentally left his wallet inside a MacDonalds bag on the floor of his room. Upon arrival back to the hotel the cleaning crew had picked it up thinking that it was garbage during cleaning. My son panicked and immediately reported the incident to the front desk. They immediately contacted their cleaning crew and retrieved the MacDonalds bag with his wallet, along with 150 Euros and Credit Card within 20 minutes. WOW!!! We were so HAPPY say the least. They are a Magnificent hotel. We highly recommend it. They are within walking distance to the Train Station in Milan.

This room had all the amenities. All the furnishings were new and wood very well polished. Everything in the room operated as they should. Came with refrigerator and new TV. There was an iron and ironing board.

Just back from 3 nights here. Surrounding area of the hotel isnt great, felt a bit unsafe to be honest but its close to train etc. Staff were OK. Could have been a bit more helpful. Rooms were absolutely tiny and the walls are paper thin. Could hear everything that was going on in the rooms next door and in the hallway. The bins on the road were collected at 6am and I genuinely thought I was on the road with them, again bed squashed at window Could hear everything. Didn't eat herd so can't comment on that. We ate breakfast one morning as we were leaving and it was 10000% not worth 12 euro. Nice stay but won't be back here !!

Very good! Lots to like here: Generous size rooms for a city hotel. Nice hardwood floors in rooms. Comfortable beds in both our double superior room (2 singles made up as double) and also in our twin room. Nice complimentary toiletries in the bathrooms and shower was good/adequate for washing long hair. Rooms were very clean and well serviced each day. What we liked: rooms had a decent, fully opening window which is a rare treat, we faced into the central courtyard so very quiet stay. No disturbances from street noise or people, quiet neighbourhood. It's a very easy 30 min walk to the centre of Milan (Duomo etc) or easy to pick up the metro if you're not a walker. Breakfast - self service buffet was generous and had something for everyone. Very accommodating to let us check in early and staff were polite and helpful during our stay. Walking distance (15 mins) from Milan central train station. Manually adjustable air con was efficient and could be left on if you popped out of your room which, although more dated than some digital systems, was very much more efficient - we had to turn it off after a couple of hours! Nit-picking: no milk in rooms so we bought our own at local shop so we could have a cup of tea. How British! But this was the same in another hotels in Italy. I suppose a slightly more dated hotel that some others in terms of decor. But this in no way diminished our comfort. Everything was clean and comfortable and actually I liked the extra space, opening windows and dark harwood finishes. No usb ports for device charging but plenty of plugs if you bring adapters. Would stay here again!

Let me start with the positives, as there were a few. Hotel is spotlessly clean, beds were made everyday and towels were changed daily. Reception staff helpful and always courteous. Decor nice and hotel is only an 8 minute walk to Milan Central Station and only a few minutes walk to the metro. Only 3 stops away from the Duomo. Plenty of high street shops near the metro. Now for the not so positive, the surrounding area is neglected and very few nice bars. There are a handful of restaurants, however mainly sushi, which is not my favourite cuisine. Standard room small, I enquired about an upgrade, however was quoted 60euros exta a day. Breakfast was the same everyday and the atmosphere was subdued, staff did not speak to you apart from ask your room number. Corridors on each floor very narrow and you can hear people talking in the facing room. Mini bar expensive, so was the hotel bar, I. E. 23 euros for 2 drinks. Plug sockets are very different to the European plugs we took with us.

Very friendly and helpfull staff, all of them. Clean, stylish concept, neutral interior. A breakfast with plenty of variation. Only a disappointing small bathroom/shower. Quiet location, walking distance from central station and city centre.

The room and facilities are good, bathroom working well, cleanliness and organization excellent. The staff are very receptive and attentive. We enjoyed the breakfast very much, with a wide variety of first class foods. Wifi answered.

The staff at the front desk were wonderful and helpful. Great location in an upscale neighborhood of Milan. The hotel is well maintined, the rooms were confortable and clean. We would go there again when visiting our family in Milan.

The hotel was very clean and modern and our room was nicely furnished with all of the expected facilities you would expect (the kettle in room 308 needs replacing, however). The hotel is well placed for the centre of the city with good links to the metro, trams and busses. Highly recommended!

Very nice and clean hotel with friendly staff. The breakfast couldn't be faulted, plenty of choice and everything looked nice and fresh. The room was fine, comfortable bed and clean bathroom, only one small complaint is that the air con wasn't that good. The location is ideal with plenty of restaurants close by and it's only about a slow 30 minute stroll from the Cathedral. would definitely stay here again if i ever returned to Milan

We recently spent three nights at this hotel while on a city break.The location was great, close to the central station ( for day trips to the lakes etc)and metro line. The staff were very kind and friendly and the public areas were immaculate . Our room was a great size with a high ceiling and windows which fully opened ( for better ventilation) Our room had everything we needed including a well stocked mini bar, tea and coffee, fluffy towels and toiletries . The bed was large and very comfortable. Housekeeping came daily . Breakfast was a highlight for us . A fab choice of meats, cheeses, pastries, cakes , juices and fruit salads. There was a hot option too . All served in a well maintained breakfast room . If you fancied a drink at the bar there was a very nice lounge area to relax in . It was quiet while we stayed there, mainly business travel I suspect and the area around the hotel was quiet as it was located away from the busy roads but close to some lovely little restaurants. All in all a great experience .

We only stay for a night, but everything was clean, spacey and fancy. The staff was very welcoming, the lobby design was lovely. The room was warm in a very cold weather and had everything we needed. Hair dryer, shower, hygene bags and energy power outlets.

The hotel is located very close to corso Buenos Aires and the metro, in a very interesting area. The staff was really helpful. The hotel was very clean and quiet. Loved to go back again. They definitely won a customer.

Good location, nice and cosy hotel, especially the lobby, breakfast area and the small conference room. Depending on the category of the room, it might be quite small but still ok. We loved our stay at your hotel: the most eye-catching point of excellence was the kind treatment of guests at the reception desk. My deep appreciation and words of congrats on this particular point of success. The only snag in our experience was the trouble-some noise infiltrating our room space every time the bathroom nextdoor was being used. If we were staying at your hotel for a longer period, I would have surely notified the management.

Excellent hotel, very clean and well presented. When we arrived our room wasn't quite ready and the receptionist (Martina I think) was most helpful. She recommended a local restaurant for lunch and when we returned our bags had been taken to our room. The only tiny criticism I could make is the coffee in the room. Being in Italy it would have been nice to have had some Italian coffee in the room. I would definitely recommend the hotel.

The room was spotless, amenities on point, great breakfast was included. The staff are incredibly nice and helpful. I forgot my Apple Pencil in the room, contacted them about it, and they kept it and gave it back to me a week after my check out. Location is also really good, within a 1 metro station top the Duomo. Everything was perfect.

The hotel it's very nice, clean, the position closer to the center. We came in november and in the room it was very cold. I think you should find a solution for this problem becsuse it's not confortable.

Terrific staff. Very efficient. Arranged for private transfer from Malpensa to hotel at below market rate. Breakfast was more than ample. Location is good between Milano Centrale and the city center. Good restaurants within mere yards/meters. Would stay again.

The hotel doesn't seem like a 4 star hotel. Very thin walls could hear other guests and our room was beside a service room so the staff were really loud in the morning which woke me up. Tired outdated interiors in the room which was too hot. The beds were comfortable, the staff nice and the location is good but it's a 2-3 star hotel and a good one at that level.

I can't recommend this hotel enough. I have staid there already 3 times. Price is great, room is clean and specially the staff is amazing. I don't know the names of everyone, but everyone and specially Gaia was very very kind to me! They tried to help me in everything I needed. I go to Milan for work and they really do my stay more comfortable and happy :) it is a very cozy hotel, the front desk team knows almost all the guests by name so you really feel yourself at home. thank you guys!!!

Spacious double room for 2 for the weekend recently. Location was only a 10 minute walk from Milan Central station and has plenty of restaurants, café bars near by. Staff very friendly and excellently knowledgeable of the City for advice to give to tourists with things to do. Highly recommend

I'll start by saying the staff were lovely. Friendly, welcoming and accomodating. Thank you. But the reviews say the hotel is “renovated”... and 4 stars.. I'm sure ours was in the 2 , or at a push, a 3 star. The walkways (with very tired carpet) wind around past cleaning carts. Smells of cleaning spray. Our room was only just a double.. small and very tired. Coffee making on top of fridge was tiny. Couldn't fit the cups. Safe was where freezer of bat fridge should be. Seriously. We were told the reverse cycle air con can only be used in summer for cooling, so only the wall radiator for any hint of heating. Bathroom very small, can hardly mice in quarter round shower, and we could hear neighbours having their showers. Strong smell of (not nice) cleaning products waft through vents. At least we had a balcony.. but some other rooms have Windows barred up. Sad view from room and not so close to the metro.. Glad we only stayed 1 night. Best Western Plus.... we are still wondering what is the “plus”?

200 Euro for the kind of room alloted to me was on a very high side. On the booking platform the room size mentioned was 200+ sqft. but in actual it would have barely crossed 100 sq ft including toilet. The queen bed is just good for 1 person while toilet was too small for 4 fixture. In adequte exhaust in toilet was another disappointment.

Great staff providing assistance with arrangements, transport and more! While some rooms are small, (we stayed there twice during our two-week trip), there is a lovely lobby for relaxing with a bar and snacks. Email contact to answer questions prior to arrivial, a Fitness Center, free Wi-Fi were a bonus and the location was good- Close to Centrale train station, and reasonable walking distances or cab rides from other attractions. Can definitely recommend for the price point.

Very nice hotel that is very clean. Services up to date and very friendly staff that is very helpful. My only issue was breakfast. Powdered eggs don't cut it. Use real eggs for scrambled eggs. Use of public transportation pretty easy but parking a real issue in Milan. Parking garages available within a couple block for about 20 euro day. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a nice hotel surrounded by a few restaurants and cafes etc. It is about a 25 minute walk to the Cathedral and the covered market shopping area. Rooms are modern and well kept. Breakfast reasonable by European standards but not a great selection

Came over for Monza GP, wanted somewhere close to Central station and city centre. This hotel was perfect, nice location in beautiful city. It is a well maintained hotel, decorated in a traditional style. Loved the free home made biscuits in reception (and fruit) breakfast was great. Excellent local restaurants. In the end never went to Central station, but used Garibaldi station to get to Lesmo entrance at the track. A pleasant stroll away.

It may not be in the most convenient location, but this is a gem of a hotel. All the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast provided a good selection of eats to set you up for the day. Although the location isn't brilliant, it is only a very short walk to local tram stops to take you into the centre. The metro is also accessible. For us this turned out to be a good base for a few days in Milan. I would certainly come here again.

Perfect stay for three nights in Milan. The room was clean and had a fresh smell all the time. Breakfast was including everything in a very large buffet. Tram stations were just outside hotel in order to drive you in Piazza Duomo or Central Train Station. Subway station is about three minutes on foot.

The hotel is very nicely decorated, the room and bathroom were a little bit too small, even for european standards, but had everything. The bed and pillows were grreat and soft, had an excellent night. The lobby is quite nice and offers complimentary tea and coffee and cookies all day long. The metro station is located like 4 blocks away and you are 3,stations away from Piazza Duomo.

We are not spoild when it comes to selection of gluten-free breads/cakes for breakfast in hotels so it pleases us to see a hotel taking this seriously. The rooms are very nice,big and clean. Around the corner you can find a Grom Icecream shop - All gluten-free!

My wife and I stayed at Felice Casati in May 2019. A lovely hotel doing things well. I am prompted to write as I had excellent friendly service at Reception, in particular from Stefano. He gave me excellent advice and guidance on local wines and expected pricing prior to us visiting a local restaurant one evening. When ordering a wine I felt like a pro and my companions approved of "my" choice. In all, a hotel I would commend as one doing all that is expected, and doing it very well. In a good location. Thank you!

It is all about the location when staying in Milano. It is a great positioned hotel, walking distance from the main train station, just around the corner form Buenos Aires street (great for shopping), plenty of options for drinks and food around the hotel. Hotel is clean, staff very pleasant and helpful. I recommend it.

Location is ok, 10 min walking from the central station and 15-20 min to Duomo di Milano. Lots of restaurants around the area. The hotel staff are great. Breakfast is ok. The major issue I face was the sound, u can hear what's happening in the next room. They have evening tea with free cookies and pastries in the lobby

We only had one night in Milano so wanted to make the best use of our limited time. Thanks to the staff they guided us very accurately so that we could see as much as possible. We had reserved parking and it was awaiting us. Very nice that the company took our car and parked it for us as driving in Milano is challenging!!

This hotel is lovely and offers furnishings that will appeal to American travelers. Our room was very small but the bed and pillows were great. The public areas were plentiful and well done. The staff was professional but friendly. The breakfast was good. The location was not close to the city center but there were restaurants nearby. The only issue we had was trying to use the restaurant for dinner; the bartender should not be also be expected to operate the restaurant.

I stayed here for four days in January. I chose this hotel largely because of price and location and, indeed, it was within 15-20 min utes walking distance of Central Station and closer again to one of th e city's major shopping areas, Corso Buenos Aires/Porto Venezia. There are many good and moderately priced restaurants in the surrounding area. The hotel looks quite plush and is warm and comfortable. My first impressions were somewhat unfavourable, however, as the hotel corridors smell quite unfresh (like the smell of a well-used vacuum cleaner bag) and the twin room I booked was smaller than I could ever have imagined, despite having read others' comments to this effect. Nevertheless, I soon found that, although small, the layout was well thought-out and the room did contain all we needed to make for a comfortable stay. After a day or two I stopped noticing the smell of the carpets. Breakfast was variable - always a good selection with lots of bread and pastries (including delicious chocolate and pear flan on one occasion) and also cooked food - scrambled egg, bacon, sausage, although staff seemed to have trouble keeping this warm. One of the hotel's best assets is undoubtedly the friendly and obliging reception staff, particularly Stefano who was always willing to advise us of places of interest to visit and who took the effort to find us an English-speaking cinema. Another member of reception staff, whose name I do not know, loaned me some hair straighteners which she advised I could hold on to until I was leaving. In conclusion, my stay at the BW Felice Casati was a positive one and, if I ever visit Milan again, I would most likely stay here.

This hotel is in a pretty good location for access to Milano Centrale but I found it very old fashioned with small rooms, a tiny bathroom and overbearingly warm. I was thankful that I was travelling alone as the room would have been too small for a couple to stay comfortably. The staff were very charming however I would choose to stay somewhere else on my next trip to Milan.

The hotel is clean and inviting with good amenities but the budget rooms are too small for two people to comfortably stay there for a long period. The breakfast is basic and overall a bit disappointing. The location is more suitable for business travel.

I stay here every time I am in Milan (3-4 times per year - each trip for 2-3 nights) Always a positive experience. Very nice staff. Rooms are small. But always clean and comfortable. Internet speed has improved recently.

Clean, good breakfast, at near walking distance from the Central train station. Good for a business staying, maybe less for families due to the surroundings which might not be the best for a leisure trip

This hotel is tucked away on a small side street filled with great little cafes and restaurants. One block away from two historic churches. Friendly staff that is helpful with any requests. Good breakfast buffet style with table service. 20 minutes walk to central train station built by Mussolini. That in itself is a must see.

Having just spent a weekend in Milan with some friends we had a fantastic time. This hotel is great for the centre of Milan and the rooms while smallish have everything you need. The breakfast is good and the staff are very helpful. Stephano was brilliant when we arrived and gave us lots of useful info on what to do in the city. His recommendations were all spot on! The hotel bar wasn't really used much except by us but the drinks were inexpensive and the area comfortable. I would return if I were in Milan again.

We stayed just one night and while the public areas and the staff were very good, the room was a bit on the basic side with a shower which kept slipping. The furnishings were good just let down by cost cutting on the plumbing!

We visited Milan for a 2 night break. The hotel is less than 10 minutes walk from Central train station, where you can get a train or bus to the airport. The reception area and staff on arrival were very helpful. The room itself was small but had everything you needed for a short break away (however the bin in the bathroom was not emptied and had sanitary products in it, we got moved to another room). This did not spoil our stay. The breakfast in the morning had a small selection of hot food and a good variety of continental, gluten free option was also available. I would like to thank Emmanuel the night staff member, he went over and beyond to be helpful and assist us with our queries. He truly is an asset to your hotel and I hope he can be rewarded in some way. The 5* review is for his outstanding customer service and professionalism.

We enjoyed this location in an area that feels a lot like NYC with a neighborhood park, small shops, and good restaurants. It's within walking distance to major shopping, again, similar to NYC. The Duomo is bit of a hike, but doable. The staff was great and the room was excellent. We will definitely stay there again!

Lovely hotel in good location, only 5 mins from nearest Metro & 15/20 mins walk to the Duomo area. We were very lucky to be upgraded to a superior room with large bathroom & bedroom area. Staff are very efficient, breakfast selections extremely good and indoor & outdoor lounges very pleasant. My wife & I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay and visit all the main sights in Milan.

Loved the hotel, especially the bed! after coming back from a hot day of walking in the city, that cool comfortable bed was everything you needed. (i feel like it was the best sleep i had all summer). The hotel is close to city center attractions: 15 minutes walk. The people are great, always ready to help and give you tips and tricks for what to do in Milan. Loved the small garden. It was perfect for a short stay in Milan.

My grandson and I chose Milan for our annual trip this year and stayed at the Best Western Felice Casati. The staff are all friendly and helpful, the rooms are spotless and the breakfast is great. The hotel is convenient for shopping and about a half hour walk to the centre of Milan or the Metro station is very close by. Hopefully we'll be back!

Elegant hotel, clean and peaceful. Also it is well positioned between central station, historical city center and shopping area, very easy to find and reach. Breakfast is fantastic, the lounge is very confortable and the entire property is spotless. My room was perfect dimensioned for one person. The staff is very efficient and helpful.

If you had the chance to prove your lugging skills and stamina bringing your backpack or luggage from the train station you'll be welcomed by a friendly staff (who doesn't care about your efforts and, if you ask for it, will give you and iron and a ironing table instead of bringing it to you room) and a tiny tiny (NY sized) room. It's an ok place, in a "convenient" part of the city (meaning not that far from stuff). If you like African cuisine you can enjoy some of the best restaurants in town.

Stayed here for 3 nights with family, we had two rooms. Nice friendly welcome from Stefano at reception on arrival. After going thru check in he then showed us on a map all the areas worth visiting. Rooms clean and tidy and decent size along with bathroom. Found all staff to be friendly during our stay here. Buffet breakfast had some hot food available as well as usual continental stuff. Quite close to underground system, Duomo only a few stops away, and also hop on hop off tour bus as well and Milan Central station only a 15 minute walk. Buenos Aires shopping area at end of road as well along within a few bars and restaurants very close to hotel. If we come back to Milan then we will definitely stay here again.

It s a nice cozy hotel with very friendly staff. Standard rooms were ok. Would check in again. It s a little bit long walk from Milan central station so put that in mind if you are carrying heavy luggage.

This was my first trip to Europe and selected Best Western Plus Hotel Felice Casati based on reviews for a four night trip to Milan. We took the Malpensa Express from the airport for 13 euros per person to Cadorna FN station ( about 40 minutes), and then the metro to Porta Venezia station (6 stops). It was about a 5 minute walk from the nearest station exit. The hotel staff was very nice, spoke English and the check-in process was very quick. Our room was on the 4th floor with a vaulted ceiling. Room size is what I expected with two single beds. Everything in the room was clean and bathroom had a shower. Room was very quiet since it was block from any busy road and we never heard sounds from other rooms. The room had a mini fridge. The breakfast was included, and was much nicer than I expected with everything from croissants to mozzarella cheese. Hotel wifi speeds were always very fast with no issues. The TV had CNN in English. We did not use the workout room nor bar but the hotel had both. It is about a ten minute walk to Milano Centrale and very easy to get to. There are many restaurants, cafes and shops in the area within a few blocks. Repubblica and Lima station are also about 10 minutes away.

My Partner has had to travel on business several times to Milan and each time he has stayed at Hotel Felice Casati as he likes the pleasant staff, clean rooms and good location. I was lucky enough to travel with him there recently and was very pleased with the hotel In every way. I could not really fault it. It is more of a traditional type of hotel, staff really helpful and friendly and within walking distance to the Central train station and the buffet breakfast was lovely, .If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Milan for a long weekend at a reasonable price and not expecting luxury then I would recommend this hotel and I would definitely stay again.

Hotel is quite nice, , small rooms but tiny and well prepared and cleaned. Air condition individual controlled room by room. Unfortunately only small safe, not big enough for tablet or Notebook. Coffee machine in the room as well as a refridgerator. Breafast very good , everything you need. Very good coffee.

This hotel is located just about 10 minutes of walking distance away from the Milan Central Railway Station in Via Felice Casati. This happens to be a reasonably good hotel & one of the few exceptions in European hotels which still offers options of few smoking rooms for the guests. Breakfast spread is elaborate & tasty. The front office staffs are very friendly & extremely helpful. Even the restaurant staffs are also very helpful

Just back from a weekend trip away and chose this hotel. The location was good for us, 10 minute walk to Milan Central Station (Bergamo to Milan central was only 5 Euros!). The room had all the necessities, were a fair size and we kept extremely clean. They have a locked storage room that you can keep luggage in if you arrive before check-in or don't want to lug bags/suitcases around after check out. All in all, highly recommended. Took us about 20-30 minutes to reach the Duomo on foot from the hotel, lovely walk through a large park.

Everybody here knew what to do to make you comfortable and the room was week appointed. Breakfast good and the location was fine, but a little out of the city centre. Some traffic noise in the evening but it calmed down during the night.

We got an amazing deal from a website and I was suspicious at first. But when we arrived I was amazed. The staff was really helpful and the rooms were so big. Even though we only were two persons. We even got a “better” room than we had booked. I'm so happy with this stay. Really comfortable beds too!

It is a beautiful hotel. I loved the spacious and clean room, the friendly customer service, very nice breakfast. And what I liked the most was the nice atmosphere. The location is great as well. Very nice for families.

I have stayed here twice now and I must say both time the service and staff have been impeccable. The front office are very helpful and recommend fantastic restaurants.It is in a great location not far from the metro (4 stops) to the centre of Milan for shops and cathedral.

Even if the exterior of the hotel is not in the worst condition, the interior welcomes you to a warm, welcoming environment with clean rooms, rich breakfast, very friendly staff. The hotel is relatively close to the Milan dome (25-30 minutes on foot).

Like the place. Just right. Don't really like the decorating - kind of old fashioned - but it is however neat and tidy And well maintained. Beds are a bit hard for my taste but good. The room is very Clean! The Cleaning lady used way too much room perfume - so i opened the Windows for the rest of the day (fourth floor!) And asked if they would not do that anymore. No problem at all! I like the service! Breakfast is not that great. Pretty plain if you ask me. It is not that expensive though (5€ pp) so No Harm in trying. I prefer the coffeebars in town!

Location, about 25 min walk to cathedral through nice park. Room, standard room, quiet, decent amount of channels on tv and good sized bathroom. Service, excellent. Breakfast, worth the 5 euros easily. Won't get anything near that in Milan for the price.

This hotel is close to Porta Venezia, not as busy as the Duomo area, some tranquility and quite at night. Good amenities and the front desk is very friendly and helpful, offered a few restaurants suggestions, pleasant stay.

We were in a triple room and I was worried it would be uncomfortable. I was happy to see the room was spacious ( by Italian standards), the bathroom was amazingly big , the hotel is beautiful with paintings all over, 24 hours snack , tea, coffee, apple. Room service very polite. The breakfast was just right, not a lot of choices but it has what you need. 5 minutes walk from the main shopping street, and from the tube station and only 15-20 minutes walk from central stations. Also there are too many excellent Italian restaurants 10 minutes walking.

The hotel is very elegant, clean and peaceful. Also it is well positioned between central station, historical city center and shopping area, very easy to find. Breakfast is fantastic, the lounge is very confortable and the entire property is spotless.

The hotel is in a decent location although quite close to Milan's city centre. Our experience was far from satisfying. It started with the reception staff being less than helpful. The moment we reached the room, it literally had enough room for two cabin bags and 1 and a half people on a queen bed. The walls needed maintenance and the whole hotel (apart from the reception) needs refurbishment. Some parts of the hotel were smelly and the lift was so small that even five kids would feel cramped inside. And yes, there was one gentleman from reception staff who did help us call for a taxi later but could not help us with another room despite it being our honeymoon. The only silver lining was the breakfast as the food was alright and the restaurant staff was polite and warm. Extremely disappointed by everything except the breakfast. I should have checked out more reviews before booking the hotel.

Hotel is located 15 min walk from train station and close to the shopping street Corso Buenos Aires. City center is 30 min walk away. There are few restaurants around. Staff is professional, very helpful. Free wi fi, fast. Room was a little small, but had very comfortable bed. Plenty of tv channels. Breakfast was great, big choice.

This hotel was in a gorgeous part of town and the employees were wonderful. I left my camera in a gelato shop and didn't realize it until that night. The front desk woman helped me locate the shop using Google Earth (I couldn't remember the name of the shop) and called them first thing in the morning to see if they had found it. And they had!!!! I was so appreciative of their help. The hotel is very nice too!

The hotel is conveniently located close to major subway stations that give access to the whole of Milan. The neighborhood is safe with many restaurants and bars in walking distance. The hotel is neat, clean, and staff is helpful (and they speak English) and friendly. Room is small, but has everything you need. Bed is good. Everything is very clean. The hotel offers valet parking with a third party, the car is taken to an to me undisclosed location. I opted for taking the car to one of the many underground parking garages in Via Aldo Manuzio. The hotel was not open about that option, therefore I choose to give a four star experience.

This hotel offers a very good alternative to any hotel in the old town, for a fraction of the price. Very nice staff and an all-day free snack bar made this a very welcoming place to be. The location is still very central, conveniently located between Milan's main station and the old town. We were pleasantly surprised by the wealth of local eateries around the hotel, including one of the best breakfast places in the city. The rooms were on the small side, but cozy and clean.

The Hotel overall is fairly good. The interior is nice and clean. The room was always very well cleaned, confortable and with a reasonable size. The toilet also had a good size. We had a good free wifi internet connection on the room and across the hotel which was a good asset. The breakfast is not very fancy, rather simple but good. The staff were always caring and nice. I really like the surrounding area, you have several nice restaurants and coffee places. The metro Porta Venezia is very close and takes you directly to the City Center - Duomo Plaza. It is also within walking distance from the Main station, like 10-12 minutes. we had minor incident with some left over money we had in our room, which was confused with tips but the hotel staff took care of the issue quite fast.

We stayed here for two nights on our trip to Milan. The hotel was convenient to walk to and the front desk was helpful. Our room was small but nice with the necessities we needed…a bed and bath with room for our bags. It also came with a small refrigerator and safe and had a water kettle in our room. Breakfast was included and had the nice standard spread of meats, cheeses, breads and coffee. It was not bad overall but we had small issues like the sink didn't drain properly and the shower head sprayed everywhere (e.g. over the top of the glass and down the wall outside the shower). The hotel repaired both once reported.

We (my wife, actually) picked this hotel among other candidates for our summer stay in Milan. We finished our long-haul flight from Jakarta in the morning and recognized that having an early check-in need much more luck amid the busy and peak summer holiday -especially in Milan. We arrived at the hotel in late morning, when the front desk lady politely told us that many guests had not checked them out yet. She also promised that our room will be ready not later than 02.00 PM. So, we left our bagagge hotel locked locker room, and we took off looking for lunch. Got back at the hotel just couple minutes after 01.00 PM when we tols that our room is ready. The check in was smooth. Our luggage was brought already to our room. The room as we expect, not so spacious but efficiently designed, moreover it is sufficient for us. The hotel -in our opinion- was run effectively and efficiently. It has all necessity room amenities, some of them are just need to be requested via frontdesk...but it was not a big deal. Locationwise, only within throwing stobe distance to a tram stop (No.1 and No.5) that can seamlessly bring you to Milano Centrale train/metro station. The nearest metro station is only 5 minutes walking distance. On second day -which is Sunday- we decided to back to the hotel early (around 05.00 PM, as we couldn't take the heatwave any longer that day). We found out that our room was not made up. We felt a bit dissapointed, before 10 minutes later the room service lady knocked our door to made our room. She was shocked finding us in the room, she apologized that she was very busy that day (and we were thinking that she was doing some overtime). We told her that she can be back the day after, when she thanked us while handing over sone fresh towels and new bathroom amenities. Great location. Polite staff Professional staff Breakfast is available with only small charge cost!!! - cheaper than having breakfast at the sourounding cafe. Recommended and worth to try and stay at this hotel.

We were on a tour and stayed two nights here. It was quite a small room, but adequate for two nights. Hotel staff were very helpful and breakfast to a high standard. The hotel didn't provide dinner so we ate at local restaurant. It was central so easy to walk to the various sights.

Very warm welcome from the Reception Staff. I'd spoken to Deborah before we arrived to check the location and she was particularly welcoming so, thank you Deborah. Her colleague, Martina I think was also very helpful in fact nothing adverse to say about the Front Desk. They both helped with directions and Tram numbers that helped us travel and tour round Milan. The room was clean, tidy and plenty of space, even though it seemed small, the shower was something else, so powerful! Breakfast was excellent and it''s a Buffet style service where you can help yourself to as much as you want to start the day. When touring round, we sued Trams all the time, they're cheap and very regular to allow getting to all the tourist places. We used the main train services to travel to Varrena on Lake Como. Great spot, The boats that take you to many of the destinations are cheap, 15 Euros for a day ticket and a load of fun. All in all a great 3 day weekend in a beautiful city and meeting very kind and warm people. We will go back.

Slightly out of town, but good city hotel. Rooms very good with lovely bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Fantastic reception staff - nothing too much trouble. We lost some Ted Baker sunglasses whilst out touring - we knew they were in one of 2 places. Not expecting someone to hand them in, the hotel tracked them to the restaurant we had eaten in, have collected them and have arranged for them to be sent back to us (at our cost).

Short walk from main train station. Also short walk to main Duomo piazza area. Good surrounding restaurants and attractions. Room was comfortable, clean and quaint. Staff was accommodating given the fact that my family and I didn't have a place booked until we arrived in Milan. I would definitely stay again.

Hotel is easy to find, in a walking distance from the central train station, shopping street ist not far away. Staff polite and helpful, room clean, bed comfortable, breakfast delicious, price reasonable. Many different restaurants around. Metro station not far away.

Rooms are OK, a bit small, but that's how most of the big city hotels are anyway. Staff was very helpful, restaurant tips, tickets to football games etc etc. Breakfast buffet is very reasonably priced, but the selection is not all that great. It's OK if you just want a quick meal in the morning, but if you want something exciting you can just as well eat somewhere else. There are a few very good restaurants and bars just around the corner of the hotel, so you need not go far if you are hungry or thirsty. But the distance to any district in Milano is short with taxi, tram or metro which are all available near the hotel.

Stayed for just one night so impossible to make a full review…..in a general perspective, a nice propriety, with small rooms but well managed. Comfortable beds and nice bathrooms, although shower space, as usual in many Italian hotels, is ridiculous small. Only problem with the room was the smoke smell in it (in Italy it's still somewhat common to find “Smoking Rooms” – be sure when booking your stay)…..great breakfast and expedite check out.

Nice breakfast,(if you avoid the sugarbombs). Terrible music during breakfast though. The room was not big, but big and nice enough to sleep in. And clean. Friendly staff and it was nice with afternoon snacks available. We used the bikes for free. Had a room towards the street but still not too noisy. Good location and not far from metro.

Out of a quite large number of 4 star hotels in the area, it was rather difficult to decide which hotel to choose. But finally we made the right choice. The staff was very helpful and friendly, the room was clean and well kept, the buffet breakfast with a large variety of tastes. Central railway station and Metro line 1 stop within walking distance. We really enjoyed our 5 day stay.

Great location within walking distance of main attractions. Close to main fashion stores so great for fashionistas. Stayed in a single room, small and compact, but fit for purpose. Free wifi and comfy bed, quiet location. Helpful staff.

Stayed for 3 nights at the hotel. The rooms are very good quality, even if they are quite small. We stayed in two rooms on the inner patio side, so very quiet in the night. Breakfast is typical italian style and good quality. Even if the hotel is not in the inner city circle, acces to main attractions is very easy by tramway, 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel has also bicycles at your disposal, ideal to explore the city and the close Montanelli park. The hotel is also easily reachable by tram from the central railway station (Milano Centrale) in approx. 10 Minutes. Some nice restaurants around the hotel.

We stayed one Saturday night in Milan at this very good hotel. Very friendly and service minded staff at the reception. Room towards the yard was very comfortable, quiet and clean. The room was too warm but we could leave the window open during the night for cold fresh air.

Was on a flight from Zurich to Milan that almost crashed because of a bad storm. Called the airport as soon as plane was turned around and grounded in Zurich. Was supposed to pay on arrival- was told reservation was cancelled and would not be charged... Had only made the reservation a few hours before the plane left and the hotel was close to empty so they definitely weren't losing the income of renting to another client from me almost being in a plane crash however despite being told I would not be charged, I was charged anyway. Have contacted Hotel Casati on 3 separate occasions and no one has ever bothered to respond. Finally requested to a Chargeback from my bank-they responded to that claiming the charges were valid. Clearly they do not care at all about their guest experience and their customer service is beyond lacking. They legally cannot charge me because Force Majeure which nullifies all contracts because I could not reasonably hold up my end of it- same as if they had an earthquake and the hotel was destroyed- they would not be liable for their end of providing accommodation in such an instance- because it is out of the realm of reason. I will absolutely never stay there in the future and will warn everyone I know of not to stay there because of the horrible customer service. Disgraceful.

I was in Milan with my boyfriend to see an AC Milan match. The hotel is close to the Milano Centrale train station and Via Buenos Aires (10 min walk). I booked a standard room and not only the room was ready 2 hours before check in time, but they upgraded our bedroom to a Superior one with a massive King size bed, a shower and bathtub bathroom. A plus, free biscuits and pastries in the hall, a really nice touch. Staff helpful and polite.

We stayed here mid October 2016, finishing off a cruise in the med and stay at Lake Garda before flying home. We arrived at the hotel before check in, however the receptionist was very welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately, but understandably, our room wasn't ready, so our bags were put in the secure luggage room which enabled us to go and see some of the sites of Milan. After visiting the museum we went back to the hotel to complete the check in. We were duly given our room keys and then advised that our bags had been taken to the room by the porter - a very nice surprise and saved us struggling with the bags. We reached the room and were blown away by the beauty and charm of the hotel. It didn't cost us much money to stay here. The hotel is very nicely styled, almost Parisien with the dramatic drapes and classic furniture. As we had an early flight we weren't able to have breakfast, but it certainly looked very tempting. The number 1 tram stop is just round the corner, which is the rickety old trams that are so iconic - a fun way to explore the city.

We had a nice stay there over a prolonged weekend. The staff was very friendly and professional. Our room was small but clean and comfortable. The breakfast offered at the hotel was decent. Many good restaurants in the area and the center of the city was in reachable distance. Would book this hotel again.

Excellent location in the center of Milano, one block from Corso Buenos Aires and 3 blocks from Porta Venezia (where you can find the closest underground station). Wide choice of good restaurants in the neighborhood. Friendly staff. Classic decoration but confortable stay and bed. Despite the central location the area is very quiet. The hallway (at least on the second floor) were a bit smelly, I guess due to a poor air ventilation and, for the price asked, some details should be improved (no complimentary water in the room). The breakfast starts a bit late (7:00 a.m.) and it is complete although the choice is just then minimum you can expect. The overall evaluation is: "quite good"; missing a: "definitely good" just for a few (but important) details.

I am staying at this hotel for the first time. Good location and staff at reception was welcoming and polite. The room it's one of the smallest I have been on a long time while travelling on business. The bed is a small single and it will certainly serve the purpose but not one you'd like to be when traveling for work. I made the reception know I was not impressed with the room given I am paying full price but unfortunately the hotel is full so no option to change. My suggestion, when you are booking and travel single ask not to be in the small single rooms unless you get a discount if you care of the price. Alternatively look for something else or be prepared to be disappointed.

Great location central to the sites of Milan. Nice quiet neighborhood- good selection of restaurants, near to the train station. Rooms are clean, very nicely decorated. One issue was with A/C - only goes to a certain level- were there when it was warm- high 70s low80s- reported to reception- told us it was not working but could not help us- no offer of anything- I'm sure it's a bit of us being spoiled Americans who expect a cool room, lol- but the response was unimpressive from the staff. Just plan ahead if you're there during summer- other than poor A/C it was great.

I'm sorry to give just 2 on 5. Because the room, actually small, was very nice and clean, staff was pleasant, breakfast tasty, and the hotel is surely nice and quite comfortable (some 500/600 metres from 2 differenti subway station and very close to the wonderful old "tram" stop). But what was unbearable was the noise of near room shower and bathroom, it woke me up both the mornings i slept there. So i advice everyboby, just in case was only that room problem, avoid room 122!!!

This is a small hotel, with a good breakfast, central location, very comfortable beds and staff that are exceedingly helpful. Those are the plus points. The lobby was full of people trying to get a good spot for wifi and the reception staff might as well work in the IT department. On the last night, the man next door was skyping until 4 am when I called reception to ask him lower his voice. I had 4 hours sleep. Point here being the walls are obviously too thin. My colleague's shower unit fell on him and it had to be removed before each bath. Take your own conditioner as there isn't any in the bathroom. I am afraid the negatives in this instance outweighed the positives.

We arrived weary after delayed flight but the service and facilities at this hotel smoothed out any wrinkles. We were upgraded to a superior room at no extra charge by efficient and helpful reception staff. There were nibbles available in the bar which was great as it was too late for us to eat dinner. This hotel is well situated for downtown Milan and Milan Centrale Stazione is a 10 minute walk. Good choice for breakfast, a clean comfortable hotel. Would recommend for a night or two in Milan.

This Hotel is centrally located for access to most of the cities places of interest and in particular the Cathedral Square and the colonnade of high end shopping near the Cathedral. Closer to the hotel is the Corso Buenos Aires, a long street of excellent shopping opportunities. The hotel is very comfortable, and reasonably priced.

This hotel is clean & friendly Our room was quite small (though the boys twin room was much larger.) Good air conditioning, shower is a very small corner cubicle with varying water pressure though plenty of hot water. No bath ?? There is no option to eat lunch or dinner here, not even a sandwich - I hadn't realised & found it slightly frustrating. The bar was closed the first evening as apparently the barman felt poorly & had gone home! The receptionist kindly directed us to a bar close by -which was shut ?? It says 4* plus but no hair conditioner, no slippers or dressing gowns provided- not a problem if I'd known. The photos online show pillow spray to help you sleep (one I've had before & really liked it) but it was never left in the room for us. Breakfast has a good choice, no issues there. There are often snacks - mini pastries/ biscuits available free in reception through the day which is nice. We didn't try the free bike hire or the fitness room but saw them & they looked fine. Overall a pleasant stay but nothing special.

I stayed here for 2 nights on a business trip, it was a good choice. The reception was professional and service driven. I arrived at aperitivo time so enjoyed sitting out in the outside lobby terrace having a glass of wine and some Italian bites. The room i was in, was small but perfectly fine for the purpose of my visit. It had everything I needed and bathroom was also nice. Location is fantastic and walking distance from many interesting places and shopping street

The hotel was ideally placed for us, just a 10 minute walk or so from the old centre of Milan. We were only in Milan (for leisure) for a long weekend and wanted to be able to see the sights and have a few nice meals without needing to take a long journey two/three times a day. The rooms were clean and well sized for a several day stay. The bathrooms (with baths and powerful showers) were excellent. We choose the hotel (based on location and price), but also because it had a small gym. There was a running machine, bike and cross trainer. Not brilliant, but sufficient. Friendly staff plus free apples and biscuits in the lobby!

We have really nice superior room whit two shower and good space. Room is clean and aircondition is working good. Staff was nice. Breakfast was awesome, simple but tasty. I can't ask anything more! In lobby is some apples, cookies and coffee/tea, make me happy!

A very good experience overall. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is also good as it is easy to access the city. Good breakfast presentation although i was expecting more choices than available. Clean room and bathroom, good ambiance overall. I was however disappointed by the size of the twin beds, they were much smaller than appeared to be online. I would advise the hotel to either wash the corridor carpets or change them if possible as there seems to be a strong stale smell from them which may discourage first timers at the hotel. That said, I would still recommend this hotel to others and keep it in mind for next time.

I really like the hotel's breakfast, good variety and the freshness. The staffs are very nice and friendly and polite. The room is cozy and comfortable and clean. The bathroom is also very clean and its supplies are a plus. Wifi connection is quite weak and that's the only minus point I may give.

Must admit that for the price the hotel was a deal. Super clean and classy with courtyard, a great breakfast setup for just 5 euros, bicycle rental free and excellent customer service by Monica who bent over backwards to please the guests. I would come back for sure. Biked past the other best westerns in the area and the area was kind of cheesy yet the best western plus was in a great neighborhood 2 blocks from subway for only 1,50 € and great shopping at buenos Aires street.

I've been here now for the 3th time. The rooms are mostly tiny, but very clean and perfectly furnished, the bathroom is functional and offers all service you need. Service at the reception needs time, but always smart. Breakfast ist more than continental, good coffee. I'll be back soon.

Booked two rooms for long weekend away with our grown up children. Also booked weeks in advance private driver transfer at an additional cost of €260. Driver failed to meet us at airport we had to call hotel 4 times to resolve and was spoken to very badly by incredibly rude reception staff woman. Advised when we arrived we had been upgraded to superior room utter nonsense to be honest. Standard room which was less than impressive and a bit in the dusty side. Worse of all appalling air conditioning and when we reported this we were advised it was working fine. Incredibly hot nights left us feeling rather unwell and not rested. Bar service barely visible and nothing at all in Sunday no bar no options to purchase any drinks at all drove us away from Hotel. Found the staff to be unhelpful and not welcoming and no I would not recommend this to anyone at all. We enjoyed our trip in spite of the awful service but not thanks to the hotel. Please consider before staying here. Construction also underway building across street so incredibly noisy too.

Realy nice feel to this hotel,reasonable size room comfy bed,Modern bathroom,Tea and coffee making facilities, Top notch breakfast i am not easily pleased but here you could not wish for more, Nice touch Fruit and biscotti in reception for guests, Quiet location, in side street, great little Tabacchi and coffee shop opposite so friendly and helpful , 20 minute walk to Duomo and city centre, Awesome Hotel

We had a very comfortable stay at this hotel. We were decently charged but were given facilities that were worth paying for. The rooms were very clean, though small. The bathrooms were neat and spacious with all the amenities required including a hair-dryer. The breakfast had enough varieties as compared to other hotels of the same segment. Would definitely recommend for family stays. The hotel is accessible to all the main tourist attractions like Duomo, Forts and railway stations through tram, which is essentially is free.

Stayed at the Felice Casati during a weekend visit to Milan following a local's recommendation. The hotel is either new or newly renovated and that's a good thing. One can also tell that they made an effort to apply some style and design, the common areas as well as the rooms are quite nice. The rooms are a tad small but I basically stayed there for a few hours of sleep only. The clear advantage is the train station in 10min walking distance and also the stroll to the dome in the city centre only takes a very pleasant 25-30min through a large park and a nice neighborhood- you won't even notice that you've walked this long. Breakfast was okay, typically Italian with lots of sweet stuff but also everything else that you'd typically find at a continental buffet. I have to deduct points for a) a really noisy A/C in the room and b) paper-thin walls. Staff is very friendly. There were some issues with the two reservations and credit card confirmations but amicably resolved. Other than that, good value for money and I'll return for my next visit.

The hotel is reasonably situated, under a 10 minute taxi ride from Milan Central station and about a 20 minute walk to La Scala, the Duomo (Cathedral) and shopping arcade. The hotel was clean and adequate for our short stay. Room size was generous with en suite shower. Reception was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a continental style buffet with a reasonable selection of pastries, cheeses etc. Whilst there is a bar at the hotel they do not serve an evening meal but less than a five minute walk from the hotel is a nice Italian restaurant - Mamma Rosa Osteria Grill - serving a good selection of Italian food.

We booked the hotel for just one night & could have easily stayed the week! Upon arrival we received a warm & friendly welcome from the reception staff, the room was clean & had everything we needed, including tea & coffee making facilities. We both slept well as the bed was comfy and the we had no external noise to keep us awake. The following morning we had a very good breakfast from a varied selection. The hotel is within easy walking distance from both stations.

Reception was very helpfull with giving all the information we asked. I expect from a hotel with four stars bigger room and bathroom. The room were very small and bathroom is small that yo cann"t put your stuff in

I stayed for 2 nights. I'm impressed by the following 1) Room layout at 3rd floor with view from the room window (long drape) 2) Comfy Bed 3) Power sockets are well situated; 4) Bathroom is really clean with basic toiletries 5) Kettle Boiler with complimentary tea/coffee packs. Most of the other local Milan hotels do not provide these. 6) Breakfast spread was really good. 7) Staff is professional and and approachable. Need improvement is the wifi coz my room 322 seems connected but at slow speed.

The hotel has excellent links to trams and walkable from the central station. The staff was very friendly from beginning to end. I was given room 303. The room was clean, bed very hard, and a kettle with tea making supplies. I didn't sleep the first night until 5am due to extremely loud noise coming up from a bar that's below. It was awful!!! By 7am the clanking of doors and other guests talking meant NO sleep. I went and spoke to the front desk to see if I could be moved. The kind man at reception gave me room 326. It was a bit larger in the bedroom area, though smaller bathroom. The bed was just as rock hard. There were only three other rooms in my area of the hotel and faced the courtyard. I slept that night. The breakfast offers a good variety and is well stocked. The hotel is kept quite warm and you are able to turn off the heating in your room, though it remains quite warm even doing that.

Short walk to central station & metro. Surrounded by some good places to eat so need to venture far after a long day (<2mins walk). A comfortable and friendly hotel and my regular & preferred hotel when on business in Milan.

When we arrived and were told that they did not have our CONFIRMED room. They wanted to move us to a another hotel - in SEPARATE rooms. Once we said that we did not want to go to another hotel, they found a room for us. The lobby area is nice. The room we were given for THREE nights was very small, good for one person - no room for a chair, so small that only one bed table could fit. We barely fit in the room. The floors were not clean. The bathroom and the linens were very clean. The breakfast was mostly breads, cereals, brioche - low priced items. Inexpensive cuts of cold cuts - mortadella, boiled ham - no proscuitto or nice cheeses which are standard at most hotels. The neighborhood is funky - spray painted walls, not the best - but neighborhood restaurants were frequented by locals - which was fun. I would not recommend this hotel based on the value for the price - about $300 per night - when we booked.

I am quite fussy when it comes to hotels so after reading some negative reviews on here I was worried and even contemplated cancelling but I actually found this hotel quaint and cute. I normally go for modern hotels but I thought the rooms were a bit different with their heavy drapes, lined wallpaper and old heavy wooden furniture. The rooms as other people have said are tiny - although I did have room for my case. The bathroom was narrow and had a step up which resulted in many a stubbed toe. It was clean though and tiled throughout. It was unbearably hot and the temperature gauge couldn't be adjusted but we did have a window. The bed wasn't overly comfortable and as others have mentioned, the walls are paper thin. There was a man next door to us yelling into his telephone at 11pm at night...we had to be up at 4:30 for a flight. I could even hear the person at the other end of his telephone. We also had no safe which was a bit annoying and no water provided either. However, the hotel provides free bicycles and biscuits and coffee throughout the day. We didn't have breakfast included so can't comment on that as we ate down the road fro a fraction of the price. The location is great - 10 mins from Milano Centrale station, fifteen to the Cathedral, plenty of shops close by and a metro station a couple of minutes away. We stayed in several places in Italy and this hotel was the most expensive and our least favourite. All the others were modern and you got more for your money but all of the hotels were expensive in Milan and this was the best for us regarding price, location etc. We only slept in the room as we spent our time exploring so it was pretty sufficient for what we needed.

The location of the hotel is not bad: about 10 minutes away by car from city center. Service was friendly and efficient. Unfortunately the rooms are quite old and therefore not really comfortable. It is ok to stay there a couple of nights for business but I would not recommend to use it for a nice WE in Milan.

The bed and the pillows where quite good, the room was very quiet and the temperature fine, theefore I could sleep well. The only issue is that in other period of the years (November and December) when the outer temperature was higher, in order to be able to sleep, I had to do it with an open window because it was not possible to switch off the heating. The room was very clean and the fornitures were fine. The breakfast was nice.

Lovely buiding in a quiet street. I went with my fiancée and we´ve joined a friend from another country. But we were disappointed with the size of the room (tiny for a double). Staff not friendly at all. Dont think we will come back to this hotel.

Hotels in Milan can be quite expensive. This Best Western is a reasonable price and still within walking distance to the city centre. The rooms and amenities are basic but clean and comfortable. The room/bathroom is small but adequate. The staff is generally helpful. All in all decent for roughly a 3 star stay in Milan.

Booked in on a trip. The rooms were a bit disappointing and the area, whilst well tram connected, was run-down big-city. A few nice restaurants nearby. The staff were very helpful and it was kept well clean. Breakfast was OK

The Hotel does not exactly meet luxury categories. Then again, it does not claim to. Its conveniently located in a good area and offers value for money and a decent infrastructure. Staff is very friendly and service-driven. Rooms are small, but tidy and in good shape.

My wife and I stayed in this Milan "hotel" for a couple if nights but wished we hadn't. It is not really a hotel more of a sad b&b. The staff were unfriendly (especially in the breakfast room), the bar never open, it has no restaurent and very poor, small bedrooms (we were on the third floor) with uncimfortable beds. Additionally it had very poor sound insulation both between bedrooms and to the outside world. It is also tucked away not near the major sites or shops. Steer well clear.

We had a comfortable room with ensuite. The staff on the front desk and in the bar were great and were able to give us clear directions to central Milan and for a nice local restaurant. Good location, it took us a slow walk of about 20 minutes to get into the central shopping streets.

The Venice could be a little hard to find, and the directions are a bit misleading, so BEWARE. However, it is Venice, so you should expect to be turned around. The staff were very helpful and will offer to give you suggestions for restaurants (they will book your reservation) and sightseeing options. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The Wifi was also quite reliable.

Was very pleased with the hotel. it was in a good area of town, the staff was very friendly and the rooms were quite comfortable. Breakfast was average for Italy but good. The outdoor patio was a great place to hang out in the evening.

This was a very tiny room. And there's only one nightstand. I had to cram a chair on the other side of the bed (in the corner of the room) so I could have a "nightstand", too. Pretty annoying. There's also a step up to get into the bathroom, so that's a fall hazard for sure. There's a serious lack of shelving in the bedroom and especially the bathroom. Not much space to put your things. The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from the train station. Breakfast was good. The lady who prepared it was very rude though. I was filling up my water bottle with the water provided near the food and my table (because I'm not going to pay for water at restaurants later in the day, and hey, I paid for the water and breakfast at the hotel anyways). And then the lady came to me and said "MADAME" and snatched the water right out of my hands and put it back at the bar. I was stunned as to what just happened. And someone else actually had the provided water at their table... Some people are incredibly stingy with water in Italy, and it's really hard to understand why. At least at the hotel I stayed at in Venice (Pesaro Palace), the lady was friendly and filled my water bottle FOR me. The only person that was nice at this hotel was the concierge. I don't recommend this place.

I found - as I thought - an excellent offer at hotels.com. More or less 1/3 in discount. The normal price was about 260 euros but I could book it for about 170 euros. So I booked a room for one night. The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. I got the question if I would like a smoking or non-smoking room! I thought all modern hotels today only had non-smoking rooms. I'm travelling a lot around the world and I think I haven't seen a four star hotel with smoking rooms during the last decade. However, I got the (non-smoking) room early in the day. But what a room! It was so small so I couldn't have my suitcase open (and it's a medium sized suitcase) and the bathroom was also so small that it wasn't enough space for my toilet bag! The room had a very small table. When I put my computer there to work, I found that I couldn't put anything else there so I had to work at the ground floor or in my bed! The room wasn't soundproof. I could hear the neighbors speaking as well as, what I believe (but I'm not sure), was the metro trains running beneath the hotel. The Internet connection was fast at the ground floor, but in my room it was very difficult to remain connected. The breakfast was quite good. I'm sorry to say, but 170 euros is not a low price for this room
