    « Milan central »

This hotel was close to central station so had excellent links for airport buses and trains and the extensive metro system. The staff were very friendly and the rooms, we stayed in an economy double, were clean and comfortable. Breakfast, was included in our rate, was self service bit minimal but sufficient for our needs.

    « Excellent »

I stayed at the hotel for a single night. Its a Very nice hotel with very clean rooms and of good size. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was excellent next to central train station Only drawback only 2 very small lifts

« Small room but convenient location! »

The hotel itself was very easy to get to from the train station (2 minute walk). The staff was friendly and helpful, and you can even buy subway tickets from them to avoid purchasing them at the station. The room was rather small, but we were only there for two nights and that too, just to sleep so it did the job. It was a convenient location to stay in because it was so close to the train station and perfect for our day trip to Lake Como. Breakfast was also pretty good, and had a good selection of items.

    « Great Location »

We stayed here whilst attending the Italian GP in Monza. It is a stone's throw away from the train station and has a number of very nice restaurants within 1 minute walking distance. Central Milan is less than a half an hour's walk. Breakfast was good, the hotel was clean, but the room was absolutely tiny. We could barely open our suitcase! The price suddenly shot up to an extortionate amount from the Tuesday to the Thursday - Saturday i.e. very expensive during the grand prix weekend!

    « A Nice Best Western. »

Liked the nice, clean cozy hotel very close to Milano Centrale .Check in & check out was very prompt .Very helpful & hospitable staff who answered questions adequately. The morning breakfast had enough variety . Great place to stay if one needs to take the train to travel around or take a shuttle to the airport .

« Good location for station »

10 minute walk from central station. Spiral steps into reception might cause a problem for some people. Interesting breakfast choices, including cantonese rice dishes. Stayed in the economy room as we were only there for one night. Room small, most of which was taken up by a sizeable bed. Bathroom was top quality and very spacious.

    4
    « Good Hotel »

Good location front of Centrale. Breakfast was good Room size small. Clean rooms. Hotel Employees are good. First floor little noise. Internet OK. Entrance is not direct . Climb down to reach the Counter. The floor needs replacement as old type tiles. Lighting needs to be improved.

« The best western in Milan, Atlantic best western hotel. »

I find this best western at a very good location (near the main train station). Also this best western has a large breakfast selection (more of a selection then the other best western I was in in Venice).

« Great place to stay in Milan »

We flew out to Milan to meet my sister in law who was visiting the city. We needed a triple bedroom and theirs was perfect to accommodate our needs. The room had a good size, clean and looked exactly as they are in the pictures. The staff was nice and welcoming and the breakfast was very decent. The location is great as well as it is next to the Central Station connection you to both airports and trains to other areas of Italy. Major sites were at walking distance or we could choose to jump on the tube just outside the hotel.

    5
    « Very comfortable stay »

Great hotel. We had a lovely room and the hotel was spotlessly clean from top to bottom. Breakfast very good and staff very friendly and helpful. Would recommend for business or leisure. Conveniently located by Milano centrale too.

« 3minutw walk from Milano centrale train station »

This hotel is right by the Milano centrale train station, very convenient for access, which was important for me. The rooms are very nice, but quite small. I'm giving it 4 stars as the staff members who received me were not welcoming and made me feel I was bothering them, although there were no other people at the reception desk. Later again the same day, the same unfriendly feeling from both employees at the front desk. The next morning the staff had changed and was extremely friendly. Anybody can have a bad day, but both people having a bad day?, I don't know. This is a customer facing job. I would stay here again though, I'm just being transparent in my review so others know what to expect.

« Nice hotel near train station »

I didn't have any expectations from hotel near central station, i've booked it just because of its location, but I was pleasantly surprised- our room was spacious, stylish and very clean, stuff was really friendly, and breakfast was perfect.

    4
    « Great Location »

Pleasant staff, great location walking distance to milan centrale. The room double comfort was rather small and unappealing. It could be a lot better. The breakfast was at best average not really hot and not interesting considering your in Italy a food lovers paradise. For a 2 day stay it is convenient but i would not recommend for couples.

    « Great Stay »

Love the BW Atlantico, great location, great breakfast, great people, and always there for me! Just steps from the Milan Central train station, easy to find and a great stopping place for all of Italy.

    « Great location! »

Really nice hotel and the location is amazing! Took the train to Milan and the hotel was less then a 5 minute walk away. It's super close to the metro too! The room was a little small but very clean. Would stay here again if I would come back.

    5
« Good location, close to train, super nice staff »

Decent room which was perfect for a group of three friends. The location is walking distance to the central train station, also the bus stop from the airport. It's convenient as we wanted to visit Lake Como and Venice so no taxi needed just a short walk to the train. The staff were friendly and helpful! There are a few restaurants within a few blocks of this hotel. Breakfast was good with many choices. I would stay here again when I visit Milan! We stayed April 2015

« First time staying in this Hotel »

First time step into Milan, and first time staying in this Hotel. A nice simple Hotel with very friendly staffs, especially Robert. Vanessa was friendly too. Room is just enough for a couple, restroom is good, overall clean and tidy. Location is good and convenient, near train station from airport and going to airport.

    5
« Great hotel, wonderful service »

It feels like the hotel is new, super clean and the service is great for any question or request. The location is very good, the central station is 5 minutes walk from the hotel (there are buses from and to the airport for 8 Euro), few minutes walk from the center. The room we stayed in was very small but well designed and clean. I know there are bigger rooms in the hotel if small room is a problem. Nice breakfast to start the day. Enjoy :)

« "Stress free location for close proximity to Milan Centrale train station" »

We spent the night here on our way from Lake Como to Venice. When we asked a taxi driver to take us to this hotel, he smiled and pointed saying, "It is a short walk". And that is was. We were literally 5 minutes from the train station and metro. The hotel is very modern and beautiful. Loved it! We walked to metro and did some sightseeing at the Duomo. We were able to hop the metro and be back to the hotel that evening. IF you are a person who likes close proximity to transportation, then do yourself a favor and stay in this ultra modern hotel. You will appreciate the comfort and have a good night's sleep.

« Very good experience having stayed one night on return from a holiday at Lake Como. »

« EXCELLENT LOCATION - GOOD ROOM - LOVELY BREAKFAST »

Stayed just one night on our way to Como. Found everything about this Hotel excellent. Lift a good size with Valet Service - very polite and helpful Reception persons. Double bed an excellent size with good size TV and excellent Bathroom facility. Breakfast was bountiful with a choice of Continental or English or both to choose from. Also a good choice of pastries and fruit. More than adequate! No noise and the AC worked well. Thanks - Mike and Lori

« Great location, nice rooms and breakfast »

Great hotel especially if needing to be near the train station (5 minute walk) and/or the Metro (2 minute walk). Clean, quiet and contemporary rooms with huge, comfortable beds. Extensive and yummy breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff at the front desk and in the restaurant. Would stay here again.

« Good location, reasonable tariff, very good staff, good breakfast choices »

If travelling by train a fantastic location. Literally 5 mins walk from the main railway station (that's if you have to stop for traffic). Staff very good. Stayed here on two separate occasions within a week - first time had an economy room as only an overnight stay. For two people okay - clean, functional, room for our luggage without anything getting in the way. Second time we were in town for a couple of days so had a comfort room - better - larger bed, more space both in the room and bathroom and also had a separate area for luggage off the main room. Walking (ambling) to the Duomo and all the shopping in this area takes about 20 - 25 mins - unless you stop to look in shops with your other half, in which case it could take hours.

    4
    « Perfect location »

We were looking for a hotel near the Central Station and the Best Western was in easy walking distance with luggage. The staff was very pleasant and caring. When we were having problems with the printer, the person at the desk left to assist and didn't leave until things were working. The subway line to the Duomo is right on the corner. Free wifi and an extensive buffet breakfast.

    5
    « Great spot »

Hotel is really well placed, just across from Central Station. Metro entrance is even closer. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very nice breakfast with plenty of choice. Rooms kept spotlessly clean. Supermarket close by as were several restaurants. Would certainly recommend.

    4
    « Excellent Location »

It is a nice hotel. It is located opposite the Milan Central Train station. You come out of the station and walk straight & you have to take a second left. You can also see the M for the metro station. As you turn left you can see the hotel clearly. It has very good English speaking staff. The breakfast buffet is quite good. They have free Wifi with good speed and also two PC's in the lobby area. They have also got a very nice coffee/tea vending m/c in the lobby for 24 hours with biscuits supplements. Both are free. If you find the water expensive in hotel there is a Chinese shop across the road selling all kinds of things. There is also a mini carrefour about 10 mins walk and the Metro station is also about 3 mins walking. The bus station to the airport is to the left of the main train station so it is very convenient and also lots of restaurants very close by. It is better to take a bus to & from the airport as it is convenient & also much cheaper. We took a family room for four and it was quite a spacious room with a big washroom.

« Drama before arrival, but nonetheless a great stay »

Booked via another website that offered the cheapest double room option - 2 adults and 1 child (under 3). Thought I'd do my due diligence and called up the hotel anyway to confirm that's ok. Initially they said yes, but called back later to say it's not ok and I'd have to cancel the reservation from my side. Long story short, I had to change my reservation but the hotel balanced out my loss. Lesson here - don't call. Just turn up with your booking voucher and stick it to them haha. Anyway, the hotel is a stone's throw from Milano Centrale. As you exit the train station, you walk towards the 10 o'clock direction and you should find it relatively easy. Check in was smooth, and staff were helpful. Room was very clean and functional. Housekeeping were pretty good. The hotel also offers a 24 hour hot drinks station in the lobby that's a nice touch. There are also snacks served at happy hour with drinks. The only gripe I have with the hotel is the breakfast. It is a shame that there is very little of substance, apart from maybe the toast. They really need to up their game in that. There are lots of restaurants close by and also a supermarket in the street parallel to this. I'd book here again.

« Close to Milan Central Train Station »

Double size room - I think it's a king size bed. Hotel is 5 minute walk from train station. I printed out directions & it was very easy to find. Coffee and tea is available 24 hours a day. Very good wifi service. I needed to print our train ticket & there was an issue with the business center printer, they were very gracious & printed the tickets for me on the front desk printer. Excellent choice & I'd stay at the Best Western in the future.

« Basic hotel needs near train station »

Close to the central train station but room was VERY small. Barely fits a full size bed and a desk. They do offer breakfast. If you need a simple place to stay, this will do. Business center (2 desks with 2 monitors) - will need to connect printer cables before printing.

« Great location near Milan Central Station »

This hotel is clean, on point, professional, perfect for short stay. The room is not big but it has everything you need. Morning breakfast was very nice and surprisingly excellent. We needed a hotel for one night before heading to airport, it was perfect.

« Great location, great facilities, great hotel »

The hotel is within a 5 minute walk from the hotel as long as you leave the station from the correct exit! After asking staff and armed soldiers in the station to interpret our map, we set off in the right direction. We received a thoroughly friendly welcome and were amazed how our bags 'disappeared' from the lobby and were deposited in our room before we got there! Excellent service indeed. Our room was beautiful, well equipped, quiet and very comfortable. Breakfasts were very varied and served from 6.30am to 10.30am which should suit most peoples needs. We had an early start and were very glad to be able to eat before leaving for a long journey home. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Look out for 'happy hour' in the bar, I can recommend their Aperol Spritz!

    4
    « Good location »

The hotel is within a 5 mins walk to the main train station, which can become easily accessible to different tourists spots via bus and metro. The room is clean, quite spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is good. The staff are helpful. The only concern is that you have to walk down some stairs before reaching the reception and the lift to the room and so it is not that convenient for carrying big luggage.

« Handy Location, Professional Service are among the Highlights »

Based on our brief, one-night stay, there is much to like at the Milan Atlantic Hotel, a Best Western four-star property, located in the shadow of the business capital's central train station. Immediately upon entering, we were greeted in a courteous, highly professional manner by the hotel's staff. Indeed, this attitude was on display by the entire Atlantic Hotel staff, from the gentleman who worked at the hotel's attractive and welcoming bar, to the woman who covered the breakfast room, to the man who helped us with check-out. Kudos to hotel management for encouraging a positive, can-do attitude in its team of employees. We were treated to a fourth floor junior suite, and the room was large and very attractive. Our king size bed was quite comfortable, and we especially liked the many windows which provided much natural light and commanding street views of the seemingly endless line-up of hotels that populate this part of Milan. Noteworthy, too, was the efficient air conditioning system, 40-plus inch flat s teen TV (with BBC and CNN), his and her bathrobes, mini bar, and, perhaps best of all, a top notch Nespreso coffee machine. Our bathroom, while not overly large, was attractive and welcoming, featuring a Jacuzzi-brand tub, bidet, window, good quality linen, and a generous sampling of soaps, shampoos, and toothbrush and toothpaste kits. A minor quibble: one of the small hanging lights in the bathroom was not working. Breakfast at the Milan Atlantic Hotel was a fresh and tasty way to start our day. While the setting was unremarkable, the offerings were varied and most appealing. We enjoyed scrambled eggs, delicious croissants, fresh fruit and yogurt, mini weenies and, perhaps most surprising, fried rice, mini wedges of omelette, fried potatoes, and numerous kinds of cakes and muffins. Also significant, the breakfast included the efforts of a hard working and well functioning Nescafé Alegria coffee which makes an above average cappuccino. In short, breakfast at the hotel makes a super start to one's day. With a price point of about $150 U.S., the Milan Hotel Atlantic strikes us as solid value for money and, combined with its numerous strong points, well worth considering on your next trip to the underrated city of Milan.

    « Can't fault the hotel »

Room is comfortable. Good size with large bathroom. Great breakfast with many options of cereals, cakes / muffins / pastries, cold meats, and hot foods (eggs and sausages etc). Good location, right near central Milan train station. Just watch with Milan the city tax is ridiculously expensive, 5 euros per person per night.

    5
« Good location Great staff »

The hotel is within 5 minutes walk from train station. Every front staff was very helpful. Our luggages came at 1am from the airport, they were still available for helping us. Breakfast were excellent. There are some good restaurants and cafe near the hotel that you can walk for. Hope to stay there again next time in Milan.

    « first time Milano »

The hotel is located in a wonderful place... close to everything. The staff is fantastic. Next visit i shall be staying there. From the front desk to the bell by and the breakfast staff... all 5 stars.

    « Good for a short stay »

Great location near the central station, and good value. Rooms were clean and a good size, staff very friendly, and a good value room. Wouldn't recommend for a longer trip, but good for a couple of nights.

    4
« Great Location in Milan »

Arrived by train to Milan Centrale station from Malpensa airport, and walked the block to the Best Western Atlantic. Modern hotel, with clean spacious rooms, ours was a family room for 2 adults and older teen with a large cot. Rooms are clean, air conditioning worked fine and location is fantastic. Close to the train station and multiple Metro stops. Good value.

    5
    « Very nice stay »

Stayed in June on the last leg of my Italian trip and absolutely loved the hotel. The rooms were amazingly large and clean. The front desk staff were extremely professional and friendly. One female team member went above and beyond to help me find a gluten free meal on my first night. Breakfast was excellent with a very selection of gluten free items. The area of the hotel was quite good. I would absolutely stay here again.

    4
« Good hotel in close to Central Station »

We stayed here for 5 nights in a family room. It was not a bad size by European standards , with comfortable beds and good air conditioning. Breakfast is very varied with choices catering for different nationalities. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There are a quite a few good restaurants within a short walk of the hotel, we did our research on trip advisor and had great meals each night. Easy to hop on the metro into central Milan which is only 4 stops away. I would definitely stay here again.

    « Nice, clean a bit expensive. »

Nice, small, friendly. A bit over the price you would expect even for Milano. Maybe we booked a bit too late. Very clean, nice idea to offer free coffee at the lounge, as well as in the room with a kettle and tea, coffee. Breakfast not too special but decent. All in all, I'll stay again.

    4
    « Good hotel! »

Hotel was clean, quiet and nice. Staff very friendly and the breakfast was good enough. Good location near to main railway station which had pros and cons.. Pros; easy to travel, Cos; some suspicious people near to station. But anyway I recommend this hotel!

    5
    « Comfort and Kindness »

My husband and I, and our two friends, stayed at the Best Western Atlantic for two nights last month. We wanted a hotel that was close to the train station so that we could easily travel to Lake Iseo and the airport. The hotel felt like a small boutique hotel. There was a nice sitting area with a bar and tasteful artwork displayed. The room was small, nicely furnished, and had a comfortable bed. The hotel staff could not have been nicer, in particular Mohammad, at the front desk and Rishi, the breakfast chef. At breakfast, there was food for a person from any time zone! The vegetable quiche was exquisite. The food was laid out like a colorful work of art and Rishi's pride in his work was apparent. I would make a point of staying there again because it felt welcoming and comfortable.

    4
    « Good Train location »

The hotel is conveniently located close to the train station. The tourist area is a long walk or a fairly short metro ride away. The front desk attendant was very good about providing information of how to get to the tourist area. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very good. Staff was very friendly and efficient.

    4
    « pretty good »

Usually I try and avoid downmarket chains like best westerns which always seem to be rooms above a pub however this was a nice surprise location by the station is great despite the entrance the station swarming with migrants, its close to metro which is easy to use and fast to the centre (duomo) but if you want to increase your step count the walk is only about 20 minutes and easy enough also building is unimpressive outside but inside very good, we took a junior suite as it doesn't cost much more than a standard and the size was v good by European standards - room quality was good including espresso machine and no street noise noticeable, bed firm and comfortable there are steps only down into the reception so not good if you are old / not keen on heavy bags plenty of restaurants close by including one in the same building with a good range of food and adequate service and a mini market just around the corner, breakfast was ok, modest range, decent quality, (large cakes are super tasty) would prefer proper coffee bearing in mind its Italy to the nestle coffee machine they have but appreciate their limited resources wifi was very slow and annoying would stay again if I visit Milan

    3
    « Not very good »

The room: The room was ok, a bit expensive for that small room they have. The shower was broken, we had brown marks on the blanket and the a/c is also loud. Staff: The staff were very nice but i guess not all have fun to work there. We asked where we can go to have dinner, they send us to a street nobody was there, no people no restaurant. Maybe because we are young people but it was annoying for us because we had to ask an other hotel for information. The hotel is ok for people how knows milan because you do not get informations from the hotel staff. Breakfast: Is ok but not a lot of selection. They did not have lactose free milk.

« Nice Hotel near Milan Central Station »

Hotel is situated in an excellent location near Milan Central/metro (2 min. walk) and within walking distance of major attractions. Very modern hotel with very friendly staff, clean and decent sized suites with nice lobby and lounge. Breakfast was sumptuous with a very friendly and helpful chef (Rishi) who even had indian items alongside traditional buffet!

    4
    « Comfortable and convenient »

Nice hotel well placed for train and metro stations, so easy access into the city centre, or easily walkable. Very welcoming staff. Nice lounge area. Good sized room with modern bathroom, tea & coffee making facilities. Quiet area with plenty of restaurants near the hotel.

    4
« convenient accommodations near the Centrale train station »

tiny adequate recently designed room with plenty of outlets and a superb abundant breakfast (except for the machine cappuccino). quiet comfortable sleep. Rob at the reception desk was very friendly--and a little nosey. seemed to be all Americans in residence. the main virtue of this hotel was easy walk from the train station upon arrival and to the Malpensa airport bus on departure.

    5
    « Comfortable!! »

The hotel is near to the train station. The staff is very nice. The room is big and comfortable and the hotel has free wifi. The breakfast is excellent, it has a variety of bread, juice, cakes and other food.

    « Nice stay »

Very nice staff and good size beautiful rooms , includes breakfast/ dinner with your stay! Of good quality, the only problem was small entrance of the parking garage so if you have a mid size car then you need to park on the street. Highly recommended.

    4
« Friendly staff, perfect location, very good breakfast »

The hotel is in a very convenient location, just walking distance from the central railway station. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was tidy and clean and the breakfast was very good.

« Reception Staff Need Training »

Very nice lobby and good rooms. Just 4 minutes walk from Milano Centrale. Metro / tram stops very close. Best Western properties are becoming my favourite! When I re-visited Milano, I went to the hotel to rent a room. The reception staff who told me the rooms were all booked was extremely rude and unprofessional. I checked on booking.com right there and rooms were available. Now I understand that there may be room quotas for websites but then the reception staff instead of rudely refusing could refer to the possibility or even check for themselves. I did not book the room at the hotel just because of the rudeness of the staff and went to another booked through booking.com standing inside this hotel's lobby. Now I have still given a nice rating, which means my review is not based on the incident but still for the hotel management, this is something to be looked into, especially considering the reputation of Best Western Hotels. For the record, this happened on 6th June 2016 around 6:30 pm.

    5
« Very Good and well managed »

Our family of 4 just spent 1 night here before catching a flight out of Linate airport. The hotel is clean, modern and well maintained. Rooms were spacious and bathroom modern. Beds were comfortable and the staff helpful in calling us taxis when needed. This is a barely 5 minute walk from Milan Centrale train station and when you walk out of the station, it is just opposite the main street and to your left. But we were glad we arrived in daylight hours as there were large groups of scary looking people just loitering about outside the train station. But in the hotel vicinity itself the location seemed fine. Good restaurants next door and a convenience store opposite so I think this would be a good location for business or sightseeing.

« Decent modern hotel in Milano Stazione Centrale area »

LOCATION: Ideal if you arrive or depart at Milano's Stazione Centrale, which is just accross the square, around the corner. If it is raining, you can take the Subway entry and walk underneath the Square to the railway station, while staying dry. The Subway next door provides good access to the other areas of Milan. Next to the Stazione Centrale, there are busses connecting to Bergamo's low cost airport. PREMISES: The overall look and feel is that of a modern hotel, without too many thrills considering you are in a 4-star hotel. WiFi is fast and reliable. ROOM: I was located in a room on the "first floor", which actually comes down to more or less street level. That implied the room was rather noisy, though it was spacious and clean. The bathroom was big enough and practially organized. BREAKFAST: is served at the ground floor. Nothing fancy but all the basics were there. STAFF: friendly and very efficient - not a given in Italy. Overall, it gives value for money in this area, but expect nothing romantic: it's decent and practical.

    4
« One of the best choice in Milan »

I spent there just one night but I felt very comfortable. The staff is very professional and warm and the ambiance it's really nice. Everything over my expectations. The hotel is very close to the Central Rail Station and Subway. If you like to walk you can reach the Duomo square in less than 30 minutes.

    4
    « Best western atlantic »

Room was small but clean. Room was quiet. Location was ideal for metro (less than 1/2 block) and train station (about 1 block). Staff was very pleasant and helpful. We would stay there again and would recommend it to others.

    4
« Decent hotel located near Milano Central Train Station »

If you are not too fussy about the room size and quality of finishes, it is a decent hotel near Milano Central train station. Then again, we also need to be reasonable with our expectations for the price of the hotel. The staff is friendly and breakfast a decent spread.

    5
« GREAT CHOICE for a STAY in MILAN »

We recently spent two nights in Milan and had a great experience at the BW Atlantic. It is so convenient - no need to take a taxi or public transportation from the train station (Milan Centrale). You can catch the Hop-On/Hop-Off bus just feet away. The staff are great - they actually smile. The hotel is spotless; the beds and pillows very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent - whether you like continental or full US style. High quality spread of so many items. You can ask for freshly made cappuccino if you don't like the machine. They have a small bar with a great, friendly bartender. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and plan to stay here the next time I am in Milan.

First day in Europe, and getting here was a grind. Slogged a lot of heavy luggage around Milano Centrale, looking for the hotel (my fault, couldn't access my maps on my iPad). We were dead tired, sweaty, and pretty up tight when we found it (within sight of Centrale, we just went down the wrong road at first). It was 10 am, well before check-in time, and Robert (with excellent English) was as engaging and helpful as can be. He got us a room with no wait at all, and had a guy handle our bags for us. The trip took a major turn for the better at that very moment. The room was clean and spacious, the bathroom was the same, and the hot water was unending. The bed was excellent, both my wife and I slept wonderfully. Robert helped with train tickets and other advice about walking around Milan. The next morning, we had only a few minutes at the complimentary breakfast, which I regret, as it was the best breakfast spread I have ever seen. It was excellent, freshly made, pastries, all sorts of other items I never would have expected at a breakfast, especially a complimentary hotel breakfast. If we return to Milan, we will certainly stay there again.

« Nice Cozy rooms, friendly staff and good location »

We spent only a night here but can say for sure that we can visit Milan again, I don't need to search for hotels again. Nice Cozy rooms, might be small if you have too much luggage. Friendly staff and quick check-in. Also, delicious breakfast, one of the best we had in Italy.

« Clean with super polite staff but definately not a 4* »

Located off the central train station near a big choise of mediocre restaurants, surely is not a 4* hotel... I was shoked that this was not reflected in the majority if reviews!!! The normal double room was super small only with a double bet. However clean though rather outdated.. Breakfast was good for the given standards The reception staff were super polite and helpful!!! It would be ok if I was expecting a 2-(at most) 3* hotel

    « Everything okay »

The hotel was really clean, nice and more or less quiet. Very close to central station. We enjoyed our stay. We had a spacious junior suite with a nice view and a coffee machine. Be aware that there is not so much going on in the neighbourhood, it is rather boring. And if you can't sleep with some noise, you will have to keep your windows closed. To improve: better choice of bread for breakfast, and we missed some bath gel.

    « 2 Nights in Hotel »

Spent 2 nites in Best Western. Enjoyed our stay. Stayed at another hotel down the road. As we wanted to extend our stay in milan but the hotel we stayed in was full..so we decided to move to Best Western just 2 mins walk dwn the road. As reviews were not as good as last hotel..we did not expect much. But to our pleasant surprise..Best Western did not disappoint. In fact..i feel the front office staff..like Vanessa..Mohammed..Robert..were very helpful..friendly..also the two bellhops who helped us with our heavy luggage. Breakfast spread was good...service can be better. The rooms were clean and deco contempory which i prefer. Location is fantastic..near to milano centrale..cafes...Only setback is hotel has many steps..so if for people who has difficulty climbing steps..pls take note.. Other than that..this is a very nice hotel..rates reasonable ..Enjoyed our 2 nites!

    « Great Breakfast . »

Very close to Metro,Very small room, very close to great supermarket /Grocery store .Lift needs upgrade or a complete overhaul.Great Internet .they will let you check in early if room is available .Happy hour is so so ..Night shift is not as informed as day shift .

« Superior location, great stay »

Location should be rated a 6 on 5 point scale. Metro entrance literally steps away. Metro station connects directly with Milano Centrale, the main train station. Tram stops are across the street. Décor is modern and a bit stark, but it harmonizes. Baths are large by Italian hotel standards, modern fixtures. Front desk staff works hard to give helpful advice. No attempts whatsoever to peddle local tours or packages. Breakfast buffet was the best I experienced in my stays in Italy. Only con. My room was small in area. Not cramped though.

« Very good hotel with excellent location »

The hotel is situated in 5 minutes on foot from central station & in 3 minutes from subway. It's in 5 subway stations from the Duomo and historic center or it takes 30 minutes on foot. We had standard twin room. It was big enough, clean and comfortable. Beds were really nice and there were two different pillows for each bed. There were flat-screen TV, air conditioning, tea-kettle and tea. Wi-fi was free and fast. Bathroom was medium-sized but equipment wasn't very comfortable and looked a bit outdated. The problem of the hotel is soundproofing. When people speak quite loud in neighboring rooms, it seems like they are in your room. Sounds from bathroom are also heard very well. Breakfast was really good as there was variety of different dishes (sausages, omelette, potato, vegetables, different hams, cheese, mozzarella, different cookies, fruits, etc.). There are 24-hours free self-service of tea and coffee near reception. There are also nice bar there and lovely sitting zone. There is no other food except breakfast in the hotel but there are some nice restaurants and bars near the hotel. Although the hotel is near the central station, the area is quiet enough and nice for walking. Stuff was really friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out were fast. The prices are reasonable, especially comparing with other 4-stars hotel in the center. If I come to Milan once more, I wouldn't mind to stay in Best Western Atlantic again!

« Love Family Room with Valuable Price »

We love location which is closed to train station and metro. Breakfast seemed so so but taste was so good. We did book Family room for 2 adults and 2 kids which size of room was larger than our expectation. We did stay for 3 nites with reasonable paid. People at reception were very kind and made good advice for our trip in Milan.

Some staff great, others awful Soundproof needed in bathrooms, never experienced anything like it. I woke up thinking someone was using my bathroom?????? Outside noise not a problem even with the window open

I stayed ther for 3 days, all dependes of hotel are very nice, the wifi has a excelent signal, central location, nearby Central rail station. Clean, staff is friendly and help us in our necessities. There is a man in staff, Rene, who speaks portuguese and this help me very much with local language and orientations about business local and restaurants. Breakfast is very good with a lot of kinds of things to choose. I recomended the best Western Atlantic

    « Super hotel! »

I chose this hotel as it appeared to be very close to Milan central train station....and it definitely is close. Tired, with luggage, as I exited train station to taxi stand, the driver refused to take me...instead he lead me a block and said to just turn a particular corner...and there it was! Simple. Since it's so close to the train station I thought it might be a sketchy neighborhood but it's just fine. No problems. And it's awfully quiet on this street which was unexpected. Staff speaks perfect English! Vanessa greeted me and made me feel welcome to this hotel. My room is large with a lovely large en suite. Clean, clean, clean. There's a mini fridge and kettle in the room. The main lobby has coffee/tea service 24/7 anyway. I went to the breakfast the first morning and it was delightful. Wide array of food from hard boiled egg to yogurt to sweet pastries....grilled zucchini at 7 am? Yep, and it was good too. Unfortunately the breakfast room is down a steep flight of stairs and I'm have agility issues so I only went the one morning. No worries, within a block is a Penny market express with cheap groceries! I even picked up pasta and olive oil to take back to the US...less than 1/2 of what I'd pay at home! I was just sorry that I had no way to cook those baby artichokes.....€.29 each! That's like 3/$1.00. Impossible to get even in Monterey CA area at that price! There are great restaurants within the block....and everywhere close even. All good. Hotel is very close to the blue line Hop On-Hop Off outside the train station and front desk gave clear instructions about when and where to catch it! Nice.

« Great Stay, Great Location, Great People »

Located a few blocks from Centrale rail station this hotel was a perfect spot for our night in Milan. It was clean, recently modernized and easy to get anywhere in the city from. The room as clean and had two large windows we opened at night for the fresh, cool air. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom amenities were more than adequate. We have stayed at other Best Westerns in Italy, usually on our first or last day due to their convenient locations and they outshine their American counterparts significantly. Plus the complimentary breakfast was wonderful as well.

« Visit during Isaloni in Milano »

Stayed here 3 nights during the 2016 Isaloni Milano fair. Very central location with excellent logistical location regarding train, tram and metro. Interesting neighbourhood with good restaurants and a couple of good bars. Staff is friendly and help some, the hotel interiors looks reasonable newly renovated, cleanliness is ok. Stayed in a single room which was a bit small but ok for Milan standards. There is no in house dining except from breakfast, however there are plenty of good restaurants within a 500 meter radius. There is a small bar next to receipts on with a friendly bartender serving a well earned cold drink or beer after a day on the fair.

    « Good location »

It's very near Centrale station. Only elevator is too small. Very nice staff. They will help you a lot.Near hotel has a very nice restaurant. It's good food and good wine. Walk only 1 minute. And go to Metro is very close, walk only 5 minutes.

« Don't understand other high ratings. Rude staff, Ruining my trip. Worst Memory in Milan »

I don't understand the ratings of this hotel. First of all, this is 2.5 star hotel at best. To be honest, I admit that this is not the worst equipped hotel in Milan. But if you are willing to use the same budget, I recommend you to find some other hotels in this town. There are real 4 star or 3 star hotels with better equipment. Biggest issue of this hotel is a guest service. I guess people will not like to be treated as a guilty person. This hotel has less-than-one star service. I want to be objective, so I would mention a staff I personally experienced. He was a mid-aged Italian man, who was standing alone at the front desk. He just made my people upset by rude behavior and pushy manners. I had a very good image of Milan, but after staying this hotel, I doubted if this is the real Milan way of treating visitors. I saw other customers arguing with this guy on the booking issues. I'm not a good writer, but think twice before you make a decision. And if Best western Atlantic is about to write some comments on this review, please explain about this specific staff. Otherwise, I will not change my mind just hearing general excuses.

    « Friendly, comfortable hotel »

I stayed here for 2 nights in February whilst visiting Milan for work. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and I felt at home staying here. My room although on the small side had everything I needed and was clean and comfortable. It was good value for money and the breakfast which was included was excellent with a wide variety of both hot & cold food. An added bonus was the free coffee & tea which was always available in the lounge just off the reception area. There were also a couple of computers which guests could use with free internet access which came in handy for me during my stay. The hotel is also very centrally situated being within walking distance of where the Airport shuttle buses drop off near Central Station. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay & will definately book again if visiting Milan in the future.

    « Nice and clean »

Spent two days at this hotel a Stone throw away from Milan's Central rail station. Very convenience to all public transportation. Small but clean hotel. The staff is extra nice and helpful. The free breakfast is a plus. Will stay here again next time we visit Milano again.

« Perfect for business trip »

In my work life i get booked last minute and this was one of the hotels left available during my business trip. Excellent location, brilliant breakfast which included soya milk and gluten free aspects of food. My only negative comment would be that the room was allocated directly opposite the lift so it was noisy with constant travellers coming and going. However i Would stay there again for work.

« Great hotel for transit with comfortable rooms and exceptional service. »

Centrally located within 5 minutes walk to Milano Centrale. The staff are very accomodating, attentive and professional. The rooms were comfortable, clean and up to date compares to some of the vintage hotels around the vincinity. The breakfast buffet has a variety to offer. Easy check-in and out process, will definitely stay here again on my next transit or lean over in Milan. Thank you for the great hospitality.

    « OK »

Location is perfect. the room is clean but very small (it's a 3 star size), breakfast is ok. there are around 10 stairs at entrance, at day time their waiter will help to carry your luggage, but at night you need to take care of yourself.

pretty good, we only spent 1 nigh, while we were returning home from Sky in Livigno and we spent 1 night in Milano. hotel very close to Milano Central Station. « Business weekend »

The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the railway station. I arrived late on the Friday night. The reception staff were really very friendly and helpful. The reception area is small, there is a little bar and a comfortable seating area with couches and a big screen TV. There is free self service coffee available 24 hours. The bedroom was small but clean. The bed was very comfortable and the on-suite was adequate. Would definitely return.

« Nice hall reception, cleaned and good breakfast »

We booked a superior room, spacious, cleaned. Comfortable mattress. Unfortunately it was not well soundproofed so we waked up in the middle of the night because of a man was speaking aloud by phone (rude man I understand but it seemed stay in our room!). Close to Centrale's stop underground. Optimal compromise between position and price. The area all around is full of restaurants. A very good continental breakfast with also sweeties home made. Staff is ok. There is a coffe/tea corner, free, good idea when you come back hotel tired and need something hot! There is a bar too. Not indicated for wheelchair (some barriers). I ca suggest it!

« Beautiful Rooms and Convenient »

Located close to Central Train Station which was basis for staying. The Hotel Room was 5 Star.. beautiful decor and comfortable beds... Bathroom a little small in King Room. Had a safe and coffeemaker in room. Continental Breakfast included. Business Center is a computer area in the open. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Did not like that there was not a ramp or elevator down to the lobby from outside had to carry suitcase down numerous stairs. Would recommend especially if you want to travel by train to other cities.

    « A practical and pleasant choice »

Best Western Atlantic Hotel in Milan is super close to the central train station, so it's very convenient. The rooms are clean and pleasant. No, it is not a top end luxury hotel but it is a practical choice.

« 4 minutes walk straight to Centrale Station »

This is not a big hotel and overall is great. My wife and I stayed there 2 nights last week. We chose this hotel because it is very near to the train station where we could taking airport express to Malpensa airport. Our flight was leaving at 12:00, so we need to take 8:25 am train at Centrale. This hotel`s location was perfect fit to our needs. Hotel room is clean and spacious. Staff are friendly and helpful. The only imperfect is the breakfast, taste not bad but lack of choice. There are few restaurants near the hotel and open late. We`ve tried one right behind us. Its food and enironmemt are good and price is very reasonable. In all, this hotel is perfect for short stay or the night before leaving by flight.

« Nothing to report. Pure perfection! »

Honestly, nothing was off; everything was as it's supposed to be, standardised and perfect. Let me explain! 1. The staff: they were all incredibly polite, SO professional, and so attending. It was as if they were all programmed to help you. They knew their business and they knew it well. Pure professionalism, great manners, incredible staff. 2. The hotel was marvellous. Its design, the cleanliness, the decor, the facilities - everything was modern and so carefully placed. Also, it was really quiet. It gave you the idea that it's really a boutique hotel. And the location is perfect. It is right in front of the central station (where the airport shuttle drops you). From there you can catch the tube and in just 3 stops you're in the Duomo square. Oh, and within walking distance (about 4-5 minutes away) you can find a Carrefour super market, which was so convenient, too. 3. The room was really a relief. We had booked the cheapest and smallest room possible, and yet it was perfect. Either newly-built or recently renovated, it had such an incredible decor (modern and relaxed), it was so clean, and everything was strategically planned and placed, so that it was a functional space. The bathroom was also very spacious. Oh, one really important detail: the wi-fi worked and it was THE best! Great, great service. Free and so fast - and working 24/7. That was a huge relief, also. 4. In the lobby, there was a spacious lounge where there was an amazing coffee machine (with capsules - I think it was Lavazza), where you could prepare your coffee. And that was available to you 24/7. You could also have filter coffee or tea. Oh, and cookies. All at your disposal. 5. The breakfast: again, you have the standardised breakfast of a big chain-hotel, which is a good thing, because everything is as it should be, nothing is off, nothing is left to chance. There was a variety of food to choose from (both healthy and more luscious stuff). AND again, a coffee machine with all kinds of coffee. Perfect! Also, because we traveled on business, it was important that the breakfast was served from 6.30. And indeed, they were up and running, so it was very convenient. Good food, a variety of it, too. So, in a nutshell, yes: we are definitely coming back. They were that good!

« Excellent location near train station and subway station »

Stayed one night, between arriving from Venice and flying off the next day. As I was a solo lady travelling and arriving after dark, I was extremely thankful that the hotel was very easy to find. I was able to check in very quickly and head out to look for dinner. I didn't actually see many eateries or restaurants around the hotel but I also didn't walk too far as it was late and I was hungry. I had only a few hours next morning to go to the Duomo, and was again very happy to find that the subway station was only a stone's throw away. The room was very very comfortable. I really enjoyed my room. The only negative I found was that the shower screen was indeed very small and it was very difficult to keep the bathroom dry. The breakfast was very sumptuous for a small hotel. The croissants were really good. I thought this a great place for my short stay in Milan. I would recommend this to anyone who's visiting Milan.

« Still a very good hotel with a major fault »

I had stayed in this hotel before and gave it a very good review, but this time I was lightly shocked. The room still looked nice and comfortable, but with some serious maintenance problems, which must be avoided at the hotel that boasts 4 stars. I came quite late in the evening and had to leave very early in the morning, so my only requirement was a good shower and getting a good sleep as soon as possible. When I took the shower I had some suspicion that water was shooting out (leaking), so I had it very quickly. Just to see that the bathroom was full of water afterwards (not only shower tube was leaking, but also protecting glass was not very well isolated), also the mirror was covered by water (apparently it was spraying towards the ceiling, not only to the sides) and just at the moment I thought "good that it didn't reach the light", the electricity went out (apparently the water did reach the mirror lights). So I had to dry and dress in the darkness before calling the reception (thanks god for iPhone's torchlight!). They sent someone immediately, he turned back the light, but wasn't too impressed of the explanation that it's due to the problem with the shower, so he put also the bathroom light on. I switched it off immediately when he left and of course was afraid to use the hairdryer afterwards... the next morning I still didn't switch the light in the bathroom (and had no shower to avoid the flooding), just the one in the room and quickly prepared to leave. Only after I gathered all my stuff in one place I dared the bathroom light and off course - short circuit again - and no light again. That's the story. I totally understand that things happen, but I think it's a serious maintenance fault if, for example, the cleaning lady who is supposed to notice all that is not working properly and inform the management (in this case the shower that is shooting water in all the directions). And the management should fix the problem first and sell the room only after. Apparently someone didn't do their job. And for me a "comfortable night in a 4 star hotel" ended in "I have no light, I am afraid to use the hairdryer, I have no light again". Not too comfortable after all. By the way, Wi-Fi was not working well enough - it was nearly strong enough for Facebook, but not for gmail.

« Perfect stay for business, close to Milan main station »

Very comfortable room. It was clean and quiet. Breakfast was OK (not the best I ever had but OK). Very close to main station - that was my main requirement. I definitely recommend it for business trip - and also week-end actually.

    « Great Location »

I visited a few hotels in this area and for the price and comfort this hotel was really one of the best deals in the area. Walk to the train station and Italy is at your fingertips. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are spacious, the staff was attentive. The only only draw back which is common in Italy was none of the hotels I visited that reported airconditioning had it. Most tuen them off in Octoner and this fall the weather was 10 degrees above the norm. Windows did open which was great at this hotel. Otheres in the area were noisy when windows were opened. I would stay here again and recommend this hotel to travelers.

    5
    « I'm coming back »

I've been to a lot of mid range - budget hotels. This is one of the best I've been to. I have to admit I was kinda sceptical because I was thinking this might be an old hotel that Best Western bought. I was pleasantly suprised how new and modern everything was. Also the room size was bigger than what I expected for a European hotel. The breakfast ws very satisfying with hot and cold dishes, fruit, yogurt, an assortment of bread and pastries. I'm definitely coming back.

« Great location near Centrale Station »

If you're looking for a good hotel near Centrale Station, then this is a good choice. much better than some others in the area. Some colleagues stayed in other nearby hotels and were disappointed. Room was quite small but comfortable and there is a reasonable choice for breakfast, typical for this type of hotel. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient.

« we will stay there again »

The hotel is around the corner from the train station. The staff are very friendly and helpful. (We discovered our mobile phone loader was not working and they directed us to a place where we could easily get a replacement.) The room was small but we got a cheaper room and we only slept there which is when the size of the room doesn't matter. One does not go to Milan and stay in the hotel room. The bath was nicely decorated. It was nice to walk 5 minutes and one is at the station. The breakfast is an italian one which means sweet such as cake, sweet rolls, and even soup. But it is a buffet and we found what we like that is not sweet. If one goes to Italy one cannot expect an American breakfast of waffles and pancakes. We were on our way to a cruise starting in Savona and so will come back when we again need a stopover. THe downtown (catherdral is there) is a short subway ride which is very cheap where a romantic italian dinner awaits the weary traveler. So on your way and stopping over in Milan? This hotel is perfect!

« A Pleasant Stay close to Milan Centrale Statsione »

We stayed two nights at this Best Western, which is quite close to the central train station in Milan. Staff were pleasant and accommodating. The room was clean and well presented, though our first night was two small for 2 travelers. We changed rooms (for 30 euros) and it was much better, plus being away from traffic noise. No air condition is normal this time of year in Italy, so an open window is nice.

    « Yoruk's review »

Perfect location and very good cleanup and breakfast. If we were accomodate in Milano, we would be stay there again. Metro and train station and also other possibilities such as market shopping are so close. Wifi quality is nice and it has no quota. Strongly recommended if transportaion is your chief concern.

« Excellent in all areas besides sleep quality »

The front desk and bell hop staff are superbly helpful and friendly. They let me store my bags after I had checked out early in the morning so that I didn't have to interrupt my exploring to check out before noon. The bell hop helped press elevator buttons and even volunteered to carry my luggage up the stairs for me. Also, they offer a 5-star free breakfast. The potatoes were a bit oily, but I liked the rosemary infusion enough to eat two servings! I was also impressed they had lunch-type food like pasta pomodoro and grilled eggplant, in addition to a huge selection for breakfast: croissants with chocolate, beignets, cereal, rolls with jam, and various other pastries. The wait staff are incredibly friendly too. When the guest book was missing the instructions about wi-fi, the staff sent a copy up to my room within minutes. My room was very nice inside. Not every room has the fancy toiletries mentioned on their website (I suppose it depends on what level of room you get), and the coffee machine is available on-request. The biggest let-down and reason I was glad I only stayed one night was that my 1st floor room must have been adjacent to the bar. It was loud throughout the night. Due to the hardwood floors, I could hear furniture being shifted (wood on wood) every few minutes, feet pounding, and voices talking. The furniture shifting sound was the loudest until I finally fell asleep. Then I was awakened early in the morning by feet pounding and voices talking- perhaps my upstairs neighbor? The location is so very convenient- just a couple blocks to the left side of the train station as you exit the main entrance of the station. Thus I'd recommend this place for a quick stop-over and to try to avoid rooms near the bar.

    4
    « Nicely located »

This was a nice hotel that was in a good location. The hotel has a cafe area with a cofee maker and little snacks which is nice. I stayed in a standard room and it was very small. It was probably the size of a walk in closet back where i live but it was manageable. We didn't really mind because we were spent most of the day exploring the city. Overall it was a nice hotel and it was nicely located

« Great hotel within walking distance of central train station. »

The Best Western Atlantic offers quick access to the metro as well as the central train station. The room was spacious, and the breakfast offered a nice variety. There is a happy hour every day with inexpensive drinks and a nice selection of snacks. Front desk, breakfast and bar staff were all very pleasant. This is a good place to stay at the end of your Italian vacation because it offers all of the amenities of an American hotel which you are probably missing at this point and it is close to the train station where you can get the Malpensa Express to the airport.

    5
    « Central and comfortable »

The room was comfortable and the bed and pillows good, There was nothing more I could ask for at the hotel. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast buffet was very well stocked and should meet the needs of all guests. Check out was quick.

    « Met my expectations »

There is nothing particularly special about this hotel. It is conveniently located close to Centrale Station, the rooms are neatly presented (if a little cramped) and the facilities are sufficient. The hotel boasts a pleasant bar and decent spread for breakfast but aside from this it doesn't have a quality that I would shout from the rooftops. All in all a well rounded and practical hotel. I would suggest to anyone staying they investigate the staffs knowledge of the surroundings. I asked for a restaurant recommendation on my first night and was directed to a fantastic (fine dinning) restaurant called Mamma Rosa. I would be keen to know what gems they may know of lurking just around the corner.

    « Great Hotel for Efficient Travelling/Sightseeing »

We chose this hotel based on its close proximity to the train and metro stations, which made it so convenient for sightseeing in Milan and for out-of-town day trips. Our room, #520, was clean, surprisingly large, and had all the usual amenities/creature comforts one would expect from a Best Western. High marks for the friendly staff, comfortable bed, pleasing contemporary décor, excellent breakfast buffet and delicious cappuccino. Next time we are in Milan we will happily stay here again.

« Comfortable and convenient if you are travelling by train »

I was looking for a good quality hotel in the proximity of Milan Central Station, and the Atlantic was exactly what I wanted. Not too many frills, but very pleasant, friendly staff, 24 hour reception, and located a 5 minute walk from the station. If you are in Milan to sight-see in the centre, the location may not be ideal, but for passing through by train, it is perfect for an overnight stop. Be aware that there is no lift to the basement breakfast room, just a rather awkward flight of stairs. I would be happy to stay again next time I am passing through Milan.

« Good location, close walking distance to train station »

Modern hotel in a central location & close walking distance to the train station. Rooms were quite small but very clean and well appointed. Breakfast was included and was well presented with a good variety to choose from.

« Great Location and Price, Small Clean Modern Rooms »

We picked this hotel for the Location and the Price, it was a 2 minute walk from the main train station which was important to us with baggage etc (we was doing a lot of train travelling). We stayed here for 2 nights, check in was quick and easy, staff were very friendly and the hotel was modern and clean. The room itself was quite small, we wasn't in the room very often so it really didnt matter to us. The Wifi was really fast and good connection. Bathroom a very good size, modern with a shower over a bath. The standard of Best Westerns in Italy seem a lot better than in the UK (Generally I wouldnt consider staying in a BW in the UK!). The breakfast each morning had a very good selection of both hot and cold as well as sweet and savoury, the dining area was lovely and air conditioned, and modern. We always found a table easy. My only critic would be the room service food, I rarely order room service but was very hungry and tired when I arrived. I ordered risotto and my Boyfriend Chicken and potatoes. We waited over an hour for our food - we had to call 3 or 4 times to check they hadnt forgotten, the last call we actually cancelled our food for it to only turn up 2 minutes later (it was well outside of the timeframe they had given). This may not be the hotels fault - I think they use an ordered in service, however it really let them down if you cant do room service good should they be offering it at all, or at least giving honest time frames. The food was actually really poor too but we were so hungry we ate it anyway! Overall it was a good base for our Milan stay we were able to travel where we needed to get to easily by the Train station underground. There is not much around the actual hotel if you want to be in the centre of things this probably is not for you, but transport is very good in Milan, underground is very easy to use from this hotel. If I went back to Milan I would probably go with a more luxury hotel because there are so many! (we did a day spa at the Armani hotel and it was amazing - I will review this also, please check my reviews). However for a good value hotel this really is great! 10/10 on value!

    « Great breakfast »

We stayed one night arriving from London via the bus from the airport. It was only a short walk from Milan Central Station where we were dropped by the bus late in the evening. The standard room was very small indeed. However it had everything you needed, it was well appointed and quite modern. It was very clean, with a very comfortable bed and nice linen. The bathroom even boasted a magnifying mirror. The window was acoustically sealed and cut out all noise from the busy roads below. There were a few minor maintenance issues but nothing to worry about and which were to be addressed by management. Breakfast was great. It was a pleasant room with very efficient and accommodating staff. My soy milk request was no problem. There was a good choice of food including cereals, fruit, cakes, pastries, sausages, potatoes, scrambled eggs, juice, toast, cheeses and meats etc. Check in and check out were efficient and wifi excellent. Overall a good hotel for a short overnight stay for us.

« Nice hotel, great location »

The Best Western Atlantic Hotel was very nice. It was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. The hotel is close to the train and subway stations in Milan. The area around the hotel was safe. There are fancier hotels, but this hotel was exactly what we were looking for. We will stay there again next time we travel to Milan.

    « Lovely Hotel »

We were concerned about being on the outskirts of the historic area but it turned out to be a good decision. The walk from the subway was only a few hundred feet. We arrived by train and it was an easy walk from the train station to the hotel. The rooms (we had the smallest room) were very well appointed and everything looked new. We were celebrating our anniversary and the hotel manager sent a bottle of chilled prosecco up to our room along with appetizers and a lovely note to congratulate us. Although I got sick in Milan which put a damper on our stay, we were very pleased with the hotel and would stay there again. The reception desk personnel were very friendly and helpful.

« Convenient and Comfortable Stay »

Stayed one night at this hotel. Very conveniently located to the train station, metro stop, ATM and various restaurants. We had a junior suite which was nice size as was the bathroom. Nice decor. Would recommend highly.
