    « Watch your bills »

If you are using any Best Western promotions make sure they are applied to bill. They can be lost overnight and then it's a hassle. The room was clean and he bed was comfortable. The shuttle service to the ports for $10 was great and easy to use.

    « Relaxing! »

I had this room booked to stay in the day before I went on my cruise. Everything was pleasant. The beds were nice and I always enjoy the Paya lotion and products. Glad there was a microwave and fridge.

    « Clean, good service »

I stayed here one night on way to a cruise. The free shuttle picked us up at the airport. Check-in was easy and friendly. The room was clean, updated and beds were comfortable. There was no noise heard from rooms, hallway or streets. The shuttle to the ship was very convenient. Experience was great and met expectations for an airport hotel.

« Not Going To Break The Bank »

I just got off a cruise and needed a place to spend a night before my flight home. I went online and found this room. Based on the photos I knew what the place would look like. Upon arrival they were very nice to me and have been the entire time. The room is very nice but the shower is not as fancy looking as the rest. (Not that it matter but you do expect more of a glass shower for this room). The hotel is very clean and their is a great energy in the air. Cucumber water among other refreshments are out daily for guests. The only negative I can say is the pool is next to a major road and in the shade. I had a great trip and I would recommend it to others for the overall great value.

« I have had better stays at this property »

I've been to this property multiple times and this go around wasn't one of the best times that I have had. When I tried to take care of my room prior to check-in at 3pm, I was told that there was a room ready for me to check into early. I walked to the room to find the housekeeping staff still cleaning the room. I wasn't to bothered by it being that I was going to head out anyway. So I dropped my bags off in the room and let the housekeeper continue to clean the room since I wanted to tour the town and didn't want the housekeeper to feel pressured. When I came back the trash hadn't been taken out of the room from the previous guest and there were hairs in the bathtub. One of the headboards had cracks in it. Besides those issues mentioned the staff was friendly and the location was great whether you were going to the airport or to the port of Miami.

« Good pre or post cruise hotel »

With shuttle to airport this is a nice pre or post cruise hotel. We had a Huge suite with microwave, coffee maker, two sink areas, and comfy bed. We felt safe walking around the neighborhood during the day. Several adequate (but not fancy) restaurants within walking distance. Not many activities near the hotel do we took a short Uber ride to the bayside area.

    « Great choice »

We are happy we chose this hotel for our two day stay in Miami before our cruise, the room is big, nice comfortable bed, very clean and great smell! As we got here Chris was at the reception and promptly checked us in, he was nice, fast, helpful and made us feel very welcome!

« Stay away if you want to make your flight!! »

Decent hotel for the money, dirty headboards but mostly clean room. Waited at airport for over an hour and a half for shuttle. Reserved a shuttle for return trip and it did not show on time. Front desk made no effort to fix. If you have a flight stay somewhere else!

« Where is the premier? »

Unfortunately I had missed my flight so American airlines was nice enough to give me a voucher to stay at this hotel for the night. After a long wait time I was finally able to catch the shuttle to the hotel and upon arriving the hotel seemed pretty bland If I say so myself. A decent airport hotel but nothing special, the front desk Denise was very nice to me at check-in however that was the end of the good, the A/C in my room didn't work, the dinner and breakfast the following morning was disgusting and when I asked for a later checkout due to a delay on my flight the following day the morning front desk Supervisor who I could barely understand and she spoke almost no English said I would have to be charged...I simply left to the airport and waited for my flight. Very disappointed never again.

« Both Yes and No. »

The hotel rooms are huge, clean and very spacious. There was a tv and I was impressed with the bathroom size. I am not too overly exuberant about the ladies at the frontdesk though. They aren't very friendly and they seem to be more on the impatient side which is soooo not cool for world class customer experience. The shuttle bus driver is also not that pleasant or professional as compared to other hotel shuttles that give free bottles of water. The breakfast tastes alright but way expensive for lack of variety (14.00 with taxes and tip) and sometimes the servers tend to act snobby. Overall prefer Embassy or Hilton. Cheaper, friendlier and tastier.

    4
    « Nice surprise »

I wasn't expecting much when I heard I was being put up at a best western. However the rooms were new, nicely decorated and very comfortable, and the bed was above average for this price point. All in all I was impressed and pleasantly surprised. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars was the slow service and miscommunication at the front desk.

« Spent a week there one day.... »

Only stayed there three nights. We were lucky to get an early check in at 10:30am on a Saturday Morning coming from a cruise ship. The room was adequate, large comfortable King size Bed, Large Screen TV, Desk, couch and chair, good mini fridge. Bathroom clean and spacious. Only thing is : the bathroom door opens to the inside and has clearance of 1/2 in from toilet bowl. Shower in Bath had plenty of hot water. we were on the top floor. I heard the Breakfast was terrible and expensive( $12.00) so I ate across the street at Burger King for under $5.00 The location of the hotel is in a Spanish Neighbourhood near the Airport 10 minutes away. The hotel offers a shuttle to and from the Airport. The only disappointment was the price $103.00 US/night plus taxes. The staff were pleasant and curtious.

« NOT a place to stay for a week »

Lets call this place what it is. A close to the airport, clean place to sleep (for a night or 2 at most) First, the traffic in this area is crazy and so is the entire area at times. It is on the "outskirts" of the NOT the best area . . . . but beside that it is what it is. Just be warned so not to make a mistake and stay a week here because it is on the lower priced side. Truths the truth

    4
« Very convenient for travel »

We stayed there before our cruise in February 2014. There was a transportation service set up in the lobby for transfers to the port and then from the port to the airport for a very reasonable fee. It was a great service and very organized!! I'm wondering if that service is still available? Could someone answer this for me as we'd like to stay there again for our next cruise.

    5
« Very nice modern hotel!! »

Stayed one night as was close to the airport. Very nice clean room. Huge bed and very comfy. Slept really well!! We ate there and were pleasantly surprised. We had the empanadas, the shrimp one was to die for and the mince one was lovely too. Friendly attentive staff. Nice pool area, bit small but to be expected due to its location. We didn't do the breakfast so can't comment on that. Struggled to find the hairdryer. Only noticed it when I was sat on the loo as it was under the bathroom sink. Couldn't get the coffee maker to work but that could just of been my husband, we got coffee downstairs so was fine. Only downside for us was when we got to the room the air con was on full blast and took us a while to work out how to switch it off. Us Brits don't like it that cold as it wasn't a particularly hot day. Only 10 mins to the airport, traffic permitting, and we took advantage of the free shuttle bus which runs every half hour.

« Great Hotel close to everything. »

I stayed one night before a cruise. The room was very clean and roomy. Linens were nice and bed was very comfortable. Nice big screen tv, mini fridge, and coffee maker. Hotel check was quick and easy and helpful staff. They had continental breakfast that I did not get to partake in because I over slept. There is business center and I was able to use it even after I checked out to print my boarding passes. The best part about this hotel is it's right around the corner from three Cuban restaurants.

    3
« The website is better than the real thing. »

I stayed at this hotel because of it's location near the Miami airport. The website spoke of free breakfast and wifi. However because I made the reservation through booking.com, I received neither. Not only that we went to the dining room for dinner and the service was awful and food overpriced. I paid $153 for the room, which considering what I received was overpriced.

    3
    « disappointing »

Hotel charges for everything from parking to breakfast. make sure you dont expect just to pay for the room taxes are high and the bill will be a lot bigger than you thought it would. Water is not hot and had to take a cool shower. i was actually chilled when i got out of the shower. I would think they would do better to make their customers at home. I booked months in advance and told them we had a handicaped person and they put us on the top floor all the way to the end of the Hall

    4
« Excellent place to stay »

We stayed here the night before we were due to travel back to the UK. Staff were lovely and friendly. We were allowed to keep our room until 5pm at no extra cost. Room was well equipped and very clean

    « Only Thing Premier/Price »

Ok I must admit, this is a very nice hotel, the staff seamed a little stuck-up, they tried to put up a good show. but the only thing I seen Premier was the price 132.00 foe a single and they couldn't through in a breakfast. I reporter that the bathroom exhaust fan wasn't working and they didn't seam to care

    2
    « Poor Experience »

No running water in bathroom sink, bad odor in room. Staff said they would have problem fixed but repairman never showed. Also during check in they try to ding you for another $12 to park in uncovered lot outside with no security, will never stay again.

    2
« Stay away from the Breakfast »

Hotel was ok for a layover, but whatever you do stay away from the breakfast. They not only charge you 12.00 dollars you are forced to pay 15% tip for a bad continental breakfast . EGGS WERE BLUE! At least they could have had real eggs instead of box eggs. Do not have bread knives but steak knives and the biggest surprise not a good selection of fruit. Especially surprising since it is South Florida. BLUE EGGS!

    « EXCELLENT HOTEL »

Best Western Hotel near Miami international airport is an excellent place , it is has a very good restaurant and breakfast is also offered at a good price, further it is convenient as it is near to the airport, super market also near to this hotel.

    4
« Good place to stay for layover in Miami »

It's fairly close to the airport...free shuttle service (confirm with hotel if you are arriving late). Rooms are small but comfortable. Nice bed. Nice amenities and bathroom. If you can get a good deal, this is a step above the other 2+ stars in the area....there is coffee, fruit and flavored water in the lobby...and the coffee is good! Friendly staff as well. On site restaurant...a little bit pricey for dinner. Breakfast bar (continental with waffles - 8.99) ok. Burger King across the street...Chinese food about 2 blocks away...doesn't seem like the best neighborhood but had no problems walking at night....

    4
    « Clean and Cozy »

We stayed at the Best Western over the weekend, the pool is nice however not heated. Lobby clean, housekeeping ladies were very efficient and nice. I would and will recommend this hotel. I plan to stay again in the future.

    3
    « Not a bad place »

Se stayed for a couple of nights. The room was ok and clean but had a small smoking smell even though it is not allowed to smoke. The breakfast included is not a big deal and is very simple. If you're looking for something not expensive and average, this is it.

    2
« Non existant customer service! »

The staff at this hotel was very curt, rude and generally not professional. I was refused room service with no explanation. We were stuck in Miami due to Matthew and when asked to extend our approximate $160 stay with them they told us it would now be $349. We went right down the street for $149.

« Was taken care of even though we had to cancel due to hurricane »

I've used Best Western in the past and have had no complaints and is reasonably priced. I booked two days ,one before and one after our cruise. We showed up and checked in with no events. We had dinned there and the food was great and drinks were great. The hotel has a 70's look that I like, "brings back fond memories when I was a kid". They have an outdoor pool and a workout room. I used the workout room the following morning, there are two TV's and plenty for cardio but limited for weight machines, over all though I was able to do my usual sets. The following morning we checked out and was informed that we were booked for that day as well. We showed our original email conformation, it was brought out back , "I assume to the manager" and was then apologized to and the correction made. On the return we ended up at sea for an extra day as all ports were closed in Miami due to the hurricane. I called BW and explained the situation and canceled the reservation. They understood and was not a problem. We docked the following day but could not get the fight changed for that day so we needed to spend the night in Miami. I called BW and explained what had happened but because it was the weekend the weekend rates applied. This was understandable and I could not fault them about the rates. When I was on the phone I spoke to Chris, when we arrived we spoke to Dan. We explained the situation and Dan looked up my previous reservation to verify I had indeed booked for the day before and then tried to see what he could do about the pricing. Chris was just finishing with another customer and then came over. They managed to get us the original price for the rooms. I was not expecting this and was very happy to see that there are still places where the customer is considered over the price. We thanked them and any time I come to Miami I will be booking my rooms with them.

    « Comfiest bed ever! »

We had to stay here due to a delayed flight and were very pleased with its proximity to the airport as well as Ocean Dr. in Miami Beach (only a $15 Uber drive). I liked the modern decor and cleanliness--reminded me of a Hard Rock Hotel I stayed at a few years ago. Would definitely stay again if needed.

    « not even breakfast for $150 a night »

because of hurricane matthew the price was realy high $150 a night ex tax. ok i can live with that. the rooms were ok a little noisy if you ask me. the next morning we went to the breakfast but it was NOT included!!!! for $150 a night!!! even in the best western plus were we where the night before it was included. i think that is just terrable.

« Good for a night but unreliable shuttle »

I've spent several one nighters at this hotel and its always clean, reasonably priced and nicely located relative to Miami International. Staff are polite but not really very helpful in resolving any issues. I've always had very bad experience with the frequency and reliability of its free shuttle from the airport which is most often late despite several unhelpful calls to the hotel and does not run on the times given. If you there for more than a day or two, rent a car.

    4
    « it's ok to spend a night »

Drove in from New York on my way to the keys. My wife was flying in later that night and we choose this location as it was close to the airport. First the good stuff. Hotel was easy to find and as I mentioned a good location. The place seems on the newer side and was check in was fast and the staff was friendly and helpful. Room was fine it was clean and updated and over all there was no issue with the hotel. They provided free pick up from the airport when my wife arrived and made sure she arrived safely. On the not so good side. The area around the hotel made me feel less then secure and I had concern for leaving my car parked in the parking lot over night. I'm happy to say there was no problem of any kind the next morning. On arrival I asked the staff if anyone in the area would deliver food to my room. I was provided with two menus that they had under the counter. One for an Asian takeout the other for a local pizza place. I decided to call for the pizza. I ordered a 14.95 pizza and two sodas. When I asked for the total I was told it would be $38.50. When I asked why so much I was rudely told what do you think we deliver for free. Well ok no problem keep your pizza and cancel the order as I am not going to pay a $20.00 delivery charge for a 15 dollar pizza. the reason I even bring this up is because if the hotel staff is going to refer it's guest to a local vender they should be 100% sure they are up to the same high standard of the hotel as this also reflects on the experience of staying the hotel as well as the hotel itself. We decided to forgo any food for the night and had the hotel breakfast in the morning which was what on would expect.

    « Ideal Overnighter »

Stayed here for one night after flying into Miami on a late landing. The hotel is, as I expected from a Best Western chain, well kept and well run. Check in was efficient, straightforward and quick. The rooms are nothing out of the ordinary but they are well cleaned and the linen was fresh and new. I had a feeling that the waiting staff had something on their minds as they were helpful but not friendly/chatty so it was a good job that we were a party, had I been on my own though it could have been a different matter. Breakfast was good and it was unusual to have cooked included as we expected an American Breakfast. The location in respect of the Airport is good at 4 miles and also the accessibility to join Highway 1 South. Because of this I can especially recommend this Hotel for those wishing to travel down to Key West..

    4
    « Functional »

The hotel is 10 to 15 minutes away from the airport. They offer free shuttle to and from the airport. There are some restaurants within walking distance. The room itself is comfortable and spacious. The breakfast is really limited in choice. The worst part is the check in. I checked in at around 9am and there is a US$50 early check in fee. Actually it's fine with me. I have prepaid the room rate with Expedia but the front desk still insisted on charging the amount to my card. She said that it would be taken care of at check out. When I checked out, she charged the room rate which I have prepaid plus the early check in fee to my card. In the end, the manager took care of it by voiding the charge the reception messed up and waived my early check in fee. Hope that works out for I need to check my credit card when I get home.

    4
« Close to Airport Fantastic staff »

This hotel offers a free shuttle to and from the Miami airport. We were staying before heading out on a trip within the center of the state. The room we had was very clean, staff was friendly. The shuttle bus driver scores the highest points as he went out of his way to help us get where we needed to go. They have in house dining as well. IHOP is also within walking distance as are a few other places. The price for what you get is great.

    3
« Not what you would expect for a Premier property »

The breakfast is not included even though they have it set up that way and you still have to serve yourself. Guest Staff are very nice and helpful but not very many amenities you would expect and the beds were not comfortable and some of the in room services like the safe were broken. Front desk is amazing but most of the staff in house keeping do not speak English.

    5
    « Exceptional Value ! »

This hotel has been renovated and it is a wonderful place to stay for the value. The facility and staff are very accommodating. It was extremely clean, both the room and public areas. Fast food is within walking distance but fine dining will require transport. The dining area at the hotel is clean but the menu is somewhat limited. However, the food was excellent and the price on par with most hotels. The exercise room was small but had modern equipment and the the rest of the hotel, was very clean. We did not use the pool but it appeared clean with sparkling water.

    4
    « Nice, clean »

Room was great, free shuttle from Miami airport. Very clean and comfy. Didn't love, there wasn't a free breakfast but otherwise great stay. The restaurant said close at 10 but actually closes at 915- beware. They made me a good drink however.

    2
« Do not stay here »

If you check in during the evening, the night staff is unprofessional. The quality of the room was also below par. There was sticky residue on the bathroom floor, and there were dirty plates outside the room.

  • 5
    « Clean and Convenient »

A very clean and convenient hotel 2 miles from Miami airport. We took advantage of the free airport shuttle to the hotel and again the next morning to get our rental car. Staff was helpful and friendly.

    2
    « Vomit on Bed Room 323 »

There was dried out vomit on bed, no one spoke very well English. unhappy with stay. when I ask front desk/housekeeping to change mattress pad they informed me they did not have the key to the closet. HSKP manager would have it in the morning. never offer to move us until the next morning, but it would not have been until the afternoon. I did not want to pack up all my things in move so i just asked for extra sheet and i stayed in the room.

    5
« Service Above and Beyond »

Chris (and Eddie) at the front desk were quite the ambassadors for Best Western. Clearly the position is his vocation and not just a job. Chris was polite, patient and helpful to guests. He helped direct us and solved a minor problem for us. It was an excellent stay and we will be coming back again prior to our next cruise. Excellent location too...a few minutes from the airport and about 10-15 minutes to the port.

    4
    « Nice Hotel »

Nice and clean Hotel, we stayed there a couple of nights in the end of our trip to the US. Not far from the city centre if you are driving and close to the outlets too. Room was nice, spacious and clean. Hotel is close to the airport which is very handy. Definitely would stay there again.

    4
    « Nice airport Hotel »

We lost our connection due to weather. Went outside the hotel shuttle was there in no time. The driver saw there was a traffic jam and took an alternate route we were at the hotel in no time. Nice stay. We will definitely be here again with a lost connection flight.

    5
« Taylors-Hotel Service was excellent-Transportation Personnel were very compationate »

I pre-registered When I checked in there was no line. I had my room key after a few minutes. The staff were very accommodating and polite. The cleanliness of the hotel was very satisfactory. The transportation staff Victorino Diaz President and Norberto Carreno Manager went above and beyond. My husband left his insulins in the hotel room after we were on our cruise ship. We were not able to leave and comeback due to time. We called Best Western Premier Miami front desk. The personnel immediately contacted transportation company. Mr. Diaz immediately brought my husband his insulins without hesitation. We will never forget these acts of kindness and compassion. Mr. Carreno picked us up right away from Port after our cruise. He assisted us with out luggage and was vary patient. We plan to visit Miami next year we will be staying at this hotel.

    3
« Adequate Hotel Convenient to Miami Intl Airport »

This Best Western Premier does not live up to the expectation of the title "Premier." Our room's closet door would not open/close and the in-room safe did not work. Unlike other Best Western hotels where we have stayed, breakfast was not included with our room. Also, the hotel manager did not credit me for a free night's stay, despite my having sufficient reward points. Don't know if I will ever use them given my experience with this hotel.

    3
    « 1 night stay with kids »

This hotel is kept nicely, the rooms are large and clean, the pool is decent. We stayed here one night prior to getting on a cruise ship. The rooms have a switch that controls whether or not the electricity is on to the entire room - this would have been good to know! If you plan to stay here, I suggest having at least 1 person in your party who is fluent (or close to it) in Spanish. I know my husband and children felt out of place, as Im the only one that speaks Spanish in the family. There is very little to do near the hotel. There is a burger king across the street, but nothing else of note nearby. The restaurant had decent food, but it was marketed and priced as an upscale gourmet experience (complete with tasting menu), which it is NOT. Breakfast was good. All in all, it was fine for a night, I would not want to stay there on a vacation to Miami.

    2
    « Unsafe »

I'd start pointing out that the hotel like others from the chain, offers spacious rooms, fast check in and is conveniently located a couple minutes off the airport. But that's something you'd just expect of a Best Western near an airport. Rooms are poorly lit making it easy to leave stuff if you decide to pack at night. But what really disappointed us during our short stay before a flight was that we had our luggage ready at around 9 am and at this time the cleaning staff was on our hallway. I told them we were not yet checkin out but they have not understood. We took the luggage to the car and came back to pickup the small things like a handbag with clothes we would change in the afternoon before heading to the airport. When we arrived at our room the door was closed but one of the housekeeping ladies was inside our room and everything we had left was spread over the bed, particularly my fiancée's clothes and purse. She left the room when we opened the door and just said: I thought the room was vacant, sorry. I won't go any further with assumptions but my understanding is that, if we had checked out and left stuff in our room, wouldn't it be expected that the housekeeper would just take everything to the lobby so they could contact us and arrange to return?

    3
    « Ok to Sleep »

If your are doing a quick trip to the U.S and you want to stay in a place where you want to sleep just for the night; this is your place... The staff is very friendly and customer service oriented, the rooms was average...

« Disappointing, Frustrating, and Noisy. Choose wisely. I do not recommend this hotel. »

After a grueling 24-hour delay of an international flight, a friend and I were forced to find accommodations in Miami for the night, then return to airport early the next morning. I used an app to find a nice hotel near the airport with a shuttle and a reasonable price. I PREPAID for a room with two queen-sized bed, free wifi, a shuttle, and room service. We arrived at the hotel within ten minutes of the pickup at the airport. Exhausted, I was angered to find that despite my reservation and pre-pay, they did not have a room with the two queen beds. The gentleman at the desk kept confusing us by telling us that they "have a room with two queen beds". He meant, I'm sure, that they had the reservation even if they weren't going to honor it. Instead, he explained, they would be "giving" me a king suite. A king suite is a king-sized bed and a sofa bed. Not even close to being an upgrade for two very tired travelers expecting to sleep in their own beds. A worse suggestion was to offer one bed and an uncomfortable sofa bed. We went in circles about why they accepted the reservation if they didn't have the room and why he was asking me if the change was "okay" if I didn't have any choice in the matter at all. I had already prepaid and it was after midnight. I have been awake for 20 hours straight. I was not in the mood to look for another hotel and I certainly didn't have the energy. My friend and I accepted the room, though in protest, and he suggested we talk to his manager in the morning about the room. As we headed to the elevator, he informed us that he would be sending someone to our room with linens to make up the sofa bed. Delaying our bedtime another 15 minutes. The housekeeper arrived and initially expected us to make the bed ourselves; but she read the room much better than the young man at the desk and did the best she could with the four-inch-thick mattress that could never be mistaken for a bed. In general, the room was clean. However, having seen the sofa bed mattress and the box spring of the King-sized bed, I'm not certain that this hotel would meet my standards of cleanliness under ordinary circumstances. The room had a small microwave and a refrigerator that churned loudly continuously. That and the uncomfortable sofa kept my friend from resting. She checked out before 5am, after only a couple of hours of sleep. I stayed until 7am, which is when I requested a copy of my receipt. I was told by the young woman at the desk that since I had pre-paid, the only receipt that I would get was the one I received in as a confirmation in a previous email. However, the gentleman from the desk the night before told me that I had only reserved the room, not pre-paid for it and took mine and my colleagues' credit cards to divide the charges between the two of us. When I recounted this story, the lady at the desk preceded to tell me that I had not been charged twice; she told me that my credit card had been denied at the time of the reservation. Now, by this time, I had slept some and wasn't as angry as the night before, so I informed her that under no terms was I accepting this explanation. My credit card had not been declined and I had prepaid before my arrival--which is why I had the only receipt she had said I could receive. Suddenly, her new explanation of why our credit cards were taken at the time of check-in was that the charge never went through. She didn't offer me the possibility to discuss any of this with the manager and that was better. He had already responded to my initial written complaint by email about the room not being the one I had reserved with the usual non-committal "Let us know what we can do ... to make your stay more enjoyable." I had let them know at moment I created the reservation. I had let them know when I checked in. When a hotel accepts a reservation for an advertised room that they know they cannot supply, for whose interests are they looking out? Certainly not mine, and I'm the customer. That's very bad customer service and even worse business.

« Nice hotel, big rooms »

This hotel was right where I needed to be so for me, it was conveniently located. Nice enough hotel, restaurant on premises. Breakfast was very good but a bit pricey for a breakfast. Rooms were nice and large. Beds were very comfortable. Reasonably priced. Major issue being that one of the elevators was out of service. I was there for 5 days in June/July and it was never fixed the whole time I was there. Doesn't it take like a day for someone to repair an elevator? This was a HUGE inconvenience since the only operating elevator was sooo slow. Also, I was willing to take the stairs but they didn't have any?

    « Accountant »

They need more honest housekeeper, I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights on a bussiness trip, i have bought a perfume for my fiance and couple other things. I left a shopping bag in the desk chair, i know i left it there because i do recall placing it there meanwhile i was packing my stuff and i forgot to take it. When i get to the airport i noticed i was missing that shopping bag so i decided once i will arrived to my destination was going to call them, I called them the next day at nite and they told me that i needed to call in the morning, when i called the next morning they said nothing was found.

    « Very Good Stay »

Had a very good stay at this particular hotel. The staff are all very friendly, the rooms are very nice and inviting, the property is centrally located to satisfy most needs, and the restaurant offers a pretty good variety of breakfast buffet or a la carte, which appears to be at a good price. Lastly, parking runs $12.00 per day; and may I suggest the Latin Café, (which is located just down the street) as a plan B for alternative dining.

« Staff is amazing, they were helpful, courteous, effective »

We were stranded because of a plane malfunction and found ourselves staying overnight at this hotel, without our luggage. The staff was helpful, the service impeccable, rooms clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a couple of drinks that night, the staff helped us find a great traditional cuban restaurant. During breakfast Daylin and Ailyn treat us to a sampler of the best cuban coffee, prepared different ways, among the best we have tried. We happened to be having breakfast at the busiest time, but these girls were so efficient, everybody was served while they kept a very cheerful and friendly attitude toward all the guests. Good job hiring your staff Best Western!

I came into town for a baseball tournament and all I wanted to do was take a shower and get some rest, This wonderful young lady ( Denise ) was very professional and made my check in Fast and Easy. She was so nice and very helpful. 5 Stars for her. 3 for the Hotel.

« Professional greeting and check in. »

During your check in to this best western hotel, ask for Dolly during the morning hours and Joselyn or Yannis in the afternoon. They are professional and very helpful. The drivers are polite and safe. Freddie is always working the afternoons until midnight and will take great care of you.

    « BEST STAY EVER!! »

Last week was one of the hardest week in my entire life... I wasnt traveling for vacation but for a family tragedy.. I stayed in Best Western Premier Miami FL and I could not feel any more at home.. everyone was so kind and attentive the rooms were perfect and the General Manager made our stay as stress free as possible. He was extremley professional and made my family and myself feel at home. Thank you for making our stay that much amazing even in our hardest time in life.

    « Relaxing »

First thing I noticed when I walked in was how lovely the place was, it felt inviting right away. Check in was fast and hassle free with the help of a young man named angel. My room was exceptional and perfect for a mini getaway with my bf. Would defiantly come back again!!

I was so treated well a d i teally did appreciate the upgrade but 8.99 for breakfast was a rip off. Then i ordered a burgwr that cost 12.00 but the chsrged 19.00. Shuttle would hsve helped since there are no local restaurants Beautiful staff. Beautiful facility.

    « Comfortable »

Pros: 1. Staff was friendly and helpful 2. Clean 3. Comfortable bed 4. Free shuttle to the hotel, but it doesn't run regularly enough Cons: 1. The area it is in wasn't very picturesque 2. Not close to the shopping malls 3. Not close to the airport

    3
« Pleasant hotel near the Miami airport »

My room (308) was much better than expected for a Best Western. My king room included a chair with ottoman, work desk, and bar area with microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker and safe - but not a wet bar. It seemed somewhat renovated. My main complaint is about the extremely slow wifi. Also the front desk clerk wasn't very friendly upon check-in. The airport shuttle was convenient, and it's only five minutes from the airport.

    5
« Modern Hotel 5 minutes from Airport »

Recently updated, modern hotel 5 minutes from airport. Shuttle service every 30 minutes. Comfortable, nicely decorated rooms with microwave and refrigerator. Shopping/upscale restaurants 2 miles away. Hotel has restaurant/bar in lobby and business center, small pool and workout area. Perfect for overnight stay coming/going from Miami Airport.

    « Nice!! »

This hotel is spectacular!!!! their rooms was so clean and the sheets smell so good my family and I had a great night there ,the only thing I don't like whas the breakfast is not included in the room rate ,but you can always get a free coffee in the lobby, the breakfast cost 9 dollars per person, you can go to any Dennys or IHOP and get a better breakfast for that price... my opinion...

    « Wonderful People/Great Location »

We ended up going South Florida without having a hotel reservation. Never thought Best Western had available rooms and on top of that, a good service. Location was very strategic. I recommend this hotel as prices are very affordable. Room was clean and neat.

    « Great pit stop! »

Stayed here on both ends if a bugger trip. Nice, welcoming hotel. Free airport shuttle was perfect as we didn't have a car. Room was clean and spacious enough for 3. Restaurant offered 3 meals...kudos to the Chef!! Staff was very friendly and the GM Robert was beyond delightful! I would definitely go back!

« Great Location, Poor Hotel »

Paid from the night before as our flight landed early. Got there at 6.30am and went to go up to our room. Someone was sleeping in our bed! Then reception said they didn't know who it was. Got upgraded but then the key didn't work so had to change rooms again. Was told to pay for parking when website said it was free. Also found out you can stay on the strip for half the price! When we had our rooms cleaned the towels where not replenished. Called reception who said they would be up with more towels. after an hour just went down and got them. The staff where really friendly but worst hotel experience

    1
« Dingy rooms and dirty bed linen »

Please avoid! The floor was sticky, bathroom was dirty, bedsheets were stinky! And in spite of informing the motel of early check out by a day and them assuring us they wouldnt deduct money - they went and swiped our CC for the entire amount without our authorization (they said they are taking CC details only to block the room). WILL NEVER GO BACK TO ANY BEST WESTERN!

    « Weekend Holiday »

Agree with C6350LDcarolr's statement ?Tricky and not straight forward? regarding the $12 charge for parking -- while their webpage advertises 'Free Parking'.. Also, there was no free breakfast -- a departure from almost All Best Western properties that I have stayed at over the past 25 - 30 yrs.. Finally, there was No shower curtain in the tub but I requested a replacement in the morning & it was done. While the rooms are clean & nicely decorated, I'm not sure this makes up for the other things I mentioned.

« Fair rooms & good location, Front desk way behind in service quality »

Decent rooms and central location and fast breakfast (menu order) service. Room cleaning service did a great job. Front desk service left a lot to be desired. Visited in summer, Air conditioning was inadequate in the front lobby/corridors.

« The hotel was in a good location, the service was excellent. »

The service was excellent and Luis in the front desk was very helpful to us. The air condition in our room had some leaking and immediately we reported it was fixed. The rooms were very cleaned, the house keepers were very courteous. The facilities and amenities were very nice. This is the first time we used this hotel and from now on evry time we visit Miami we will stay here.We enjoyed our stay.

    2
« Tricky and not straight forward »

After checking in I accidentally found out there is a $12 charge for parking and there was no free breakfast that I had understood there was the night before. However the parking fee was eventually waived, and two meal vouchers were given to us. Much appreciated.

    « A Nice modern hotel »

We had a suite on THE 5th Floor. The room was so spacious with a fridge and a microwave, good beds and a nice shower. Most maills are close by and so is Miami Beach. Great staff; Denise (reception) was a graag help for us. She provider us alot of info we meedeed and also arranged a late check out for us. Breakfast was good and you can make your own waffles! This was my 4th visit and I will defenitely coke back to this hotel again.

    5
« Great Room, Bed and Staff »

Luis was outstanding, for our 4 day stay there. Thanks so much!! Our stay was split and on the last night we were unable to book a king bed, but Luis got us upgraded to a King Suite for that night and free breakfast too! The staff was very helpful and the rooms were super clean and quite.

    « Wonderful Staff »

Adriana and Angel were wonderful. Always professional and well dressed and ready to serve any needs. Pool was nice and the location was decent. My only complaint would have to be the elevator which was slow and majority of my stay only one was working other than that i had a great experience for my first time in Miami.

    2
    « Not a Premier »

Go to the BW Plus in Doral or pick a different hotel. Definitely resting on the laurels here. Staff was great, but the property is well below what a Premier BW should be. Stifliung hot hallways, thermostat did not work, poor hot water, stains on walls and curtains.

« Beware of booking through a third party site »

Our family flew into Miami to go on a cruise and booked a 2 Queen bed room. We arrived at the hotel at around 1 AM to be told that they had us booked into a one king bed and pull out sofa bed. After flight delays and the late hour and the fact we had no transportation, we took the room. We get into the room provided and the A/C was out. It was 90 outside and 82 in the room. I attempted to work with hotels.com to get relocated, but that was a joke. The young man working the front desk tried his best. Suddenly after walking floors he was able to find the room type we booked and was able to guarantee it for that one night. I gave up on hotels.com and worked with the property directly to secure the same room for the additional night. It is a nice, clean property with nice facilities. The only reason we stayed was due to the efforts of the young man working overnight. We had also booked this hotel for after our return from the cruise, but cancelled our booking and stayed at the Sheraton instead. For us to have booked a room and be given something else and be told that they could not honor the original request tells me that the management of the hotel has an integrity issue. My experience was 2-star but I'm giving a 3-star due to the efforts of the young man working all alone at night.

« Very clean, friendly and comfortable »

Stayed a night to recover from jet lag after our return to the States from Europe. Very clean, comfortable and excellent breakfast spread. Also within walking distance to a great Cuban restaurant called Latin cafe.

    « Fantastic Customer Service »

We only stayed for a night, but this hotel was great! The front desk worker, Angel, was very friendly and helped us out a lot. We were a large group and needed an area to put our luggage after checking out the next day as our flight wasn't until the evening. The hotel provided us with a storage room and Angel let us in multiple times as we needed. I was very pleased with the accommodations and overall enjoyed my stay.

    5
    « Friendly Management »

The management here is fantastic. They accommodated my group and me by allowing us to store our bags after we all checked out of our rooms and allowing us pool time while we waited for our late flight. They were very understanding and one of their front desk workers, Angel, continued to check on us and make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. I would most definitely come back here if I'm ever in Miami again.

« Quiet but close enpough to airport »

Receptionists were very friendly and helpful when arriving. Room very clean and comfortable. Restaurant small but okay. Nothing fancy. No problem with parking space on premises. Easy way to get out of Miami on car when going South to Keys. Business center with 2 computers, easy to print out few things.

    5
    « Great stay »

Angel and Luis were very professional and helpful when checking in to the hotel. They were friendly to my children and very welcoming. The room was very clean and pool was great. All staff was kind and courteous. I recommend this hotel. Quaint and quiet. Great customer service!

    « Amazing Stay »

Second time staying at this hotel and it was much better. Nice clean room, wonderful breakfast and excellent customer service. Good location very close to airport. Definitely I will recommend it to others.

« Better than the rate suggests »

I recently stayed at this hotel with my family and I must say it was a pleasant stay. They had a free shuttle service from the airport and the hotel was relatively close. In my room my AC wasn't working but the front desk staff called their technician and he immediately came upstairs to fix it. The following morning Denise and Angle were very warming when I checked out and they did recommend me the hotel breakfast which was much better than the free breakfast I've had at other hotels. My only complaint would be the pool wasn't working but all in all a great hotel!

    5
    « I WILL BE BACK! »

The staff was very kind especially Angel who helped me find a great restaurant in Miracle Mile. I wish the parking was still free but other than that everything else was fantastic! If i ever need a hotel I will be booking here again.

    3
    « Needed a little fresh up »

Hallways and carpets needed fleshing up and the A/C was a little slow, but other than that it was a good stay. There was a refrigerator, coffee or tea pot. No vending on our floor. Shuttle service was great. We ate at the restaurant, and service was great-although the steak sandwich was terrible. Stick with the hamburgers, there're fantastic.

    2
    « Horrible experience »

I made 5 trips to the front desk during the check in because we couldn't get in the room. When we were finally able to access a different room, the ac didn't work and we had to move again. Not much of an apology was offered for the inconvenience nor was there a discount offered. They didn't clean the room the next day and when I complained at check out, she couldn't have cared less.

    4
« Decent hotel, close to airport. »

The hotel itself was fine. Nicely appointed decently clean. The restaurant was not the breakfast Buffett is basically false advertising. They give a menu description of it with all of these hot items like, hash browns, eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, waffles, and comes with juices and cereals. However there were no sausages, no hash browns, no juice and you had to make your own waffle and toast, had to order juice separately at a cost, and you had to make oatmeal. If this were a free breakfast that would be fine but at 17.99 per person it is not. The dinner was ok, way over priced and lacking much flavor or presentation. The kids burger was served on a piece of flat quarry tile no place to put dipping sauces for fries or to even hold the burger. My chicken dish was spread over two plates with mismatched components. A chipotle cream sauce over the chicken breast on one plate, a ramekin shaped blob of white rice with black sesame seeds sprinkled on top, and an over dressed mixed green salad on a second plate. It was edible but nothing exciting. The window in room 406 didn't have a curtain to close so the lights from the building next door and the street below shone through all night, I personally prefer a dark room for sleeping. The hotel staff was nice and the complimentary shuttle to the airport was great. They allowed us to store our luggage before we checked in so that we could explore Miami. Very nice of them to do that.

« Good Effort, but lacking... »

My husband and I stayed here for one night before we left out for our cruise. The location is good enough for that. We got a suite for a very good price, and it was very spacious. I must say the room was well appointed and I was surprised at how nice it was for a Best Western brand. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating, and check-in did not take long at all. Here's where we had a few problems: The pool was empty. I mean no-water-in-it empty, and it was 90° outside! The main door to the parking area was a sliding automatic glass door and it was out of order, so they put a sign on there telling you to open it manually. Then the a/c in the room NEVER got cool enough. We set the temperature on 71° when we arrived and it never dropped below 75° during our whole stay, so it was uncomfortable for us to sleep (we like it cold while we sleep). Overall, the experience was good enough, but I wouldn't stay here again. I gave it a try because it was a good price on Expedia and had good reviews on Trip Advisor, but I'll stick with the brands I know for the consistent quality I'm used to experiencing when I travel.

    4
    « A good night's sleep. »

The hotel staff were smiling professionals, and the room was very nice. Clean and save area. Great van service to and from the airport. Will definitely stay again. Found out later though, about Miami's free trolley service that I could have taken to visit the Coconut Grove/Coral Gables area.

    3
« Nice hotel but poor customer service »

Our flight out of Miami got delayed so we had to book a hotel for a night. We chose this one due to its close location to the Airport and its shuttle service. The hotel itself was nice and clean however the customer service was subpar, the people at the front desk seemed inconvenienced if you asked them simple questions. In addition to that there isn't much to do around the hotel within walking distance. If you need a place to stay before catching a flight it's a great option but other than that it doesn't offer much (they do have breakfast from 6:00-10:00 but we left before that opened so I can't give any input on that).

    5
« Very happy we chose this hotel »

We stayed here after coming back from a cruise, kind of a wind down before going home. We were quite pleased with our room, it was clean and very comfortable. We ate at the hotel restaurant a few times and the staff there were great. Simon made sure we were satisfied with our meals and couldn't do more to accommodate us. The food was very good! Because we didn't have anything planned while we were there, we asked Simon what we could do and he recommended Jungle Island. We had a blast there and wouldn't have known to go there if he didn't tell us about it. Thank you Simon for your hospitality and hope to see you again when we come back!

    5
    « Great Stay »

The Best Best Western I've ever stayed in. The room was huge, and breakfast was awesome, and the location was perfect for what I came to town for. When I come back, I'll for sure be staying here again.

    3
« Good hotel but shuttle service bus poor »

I was a "distressed passenger" and kindly put up here by the airline for one night. I waited 20 minutes for the shuttle bus and then called the hotel. After being told it would arrive in 5 minutes, I waited another 20 minutes before finding a taxi. When I arrived at the hotel, I was told 45 minutes was normal. In whose dream is this acceptable? The hotel is nice and the food and service in the lobby restaurant was good but way beyond the values of the $12 voucher offered by the airline. I paid the difference as I was not going out this late in the evening. Leg of lamb cost $28. I would not hesitate to stay here again if I had my own transportation. The location is essentially in the middle of a semi office/industrial area with no shopping or restuarants close by. This hotel is probably good enough for a short stay if you don't need to move around much.

    5
« Very nice hotel near airport »

This is a very nice hotel to stay near the Miami airport. It is very clean, comfortable and the breakfast is somewhat above some of the other hotels we have experienced with free breakfast. Nice that they have free parking and shuttle to and from airport.

    4
    « Convenient pre-cruise night »

Free transfer from airport 30 minutes interval. Convenient room with comfortable beds. Breakfast not included and was a bit expensive. The hotel had three scheduled transfers to to the cruise terminals at a rate of 10 USD p.p.

    3
« Good value for money in expensive Miami »

The hotel is about a 10 minute drive from the airport and about 15 minutes to Bayside marketplace. There isn't much to do in the area, the only decent one is a Burger King on the other side of the road. The front lobby is large with some seating area and a vending area with some basic food and amenities. You can get free coffee in the lobby however the staff does not check regularly enough to see if it is not empty (as it was the case with us). You can also get some fruit water but these are on the side of the restaurant/bar, so those are harder to find. The room was clean and large enough. It comes with a fridge and coffee making facilities. The airco is a manual one but you can also opt to open the window which is good. The bathroom is equipped with all amenities and make up mirror, there is a second sink right next door which is very convenient. Breakfast is not free. I've stayed in other Best Western hotels and this one is advertised as Premier however to me it did not feel that way. It felt as a regular hotel, nothing fancy. However when staying in Miami this is a good choice considering the other more expensive hotels in downtown or Miami Beach.

    5
    « Back to the U! »

Each trip to the BW Premier (about 4 or 5) has been very comfortable & a great value. However, on our last trip in March 2016, our initial room had not been cleaned very well at all. Left over food in the frig, questionable sheets, etc. But the staff went out of their way to move us to a cleaner upgrade at no additional cost. Kudos to the staff!

    « Good Hotel »

Hotel has an excellent location, close to many places to visit. Nice service, and nice room. Confortable bed. Good breakfast. The restaurant´s personal are very nice too. Thanks yo Simon, Aeleen, y Dailyn has a great service.

    3
    « Bad shuttle service »

We arrived at Miami international airport at around mid day - we waited for almost an hour at airport and finally got a cab ride. The girl at the reception desk informed me that there were supposed to be rides every 30 mins and that when leaving tomorrow I have to be there 15 ahead of the appointed time since the shuttle has limited capacity. We were staying in Miami only over night, and one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel was their offer of shuttle service. I am disappointed. The rooms itself are ok for and overnight stay.

    4
    « Family Trip »

Hotel is in good location lots of places to visit with in the 10 to 45 min drive Outlets, malls, gardens and the beach. The hotel crew is really nice yet they lack training, when i checked out the lady at the service desk was not able to explain to me what was charge on my receipt and what is still pending to be charge.

    3
    « Hotel before cruise »

We stayed one night at this hotel which is located relatively close to the airport and a short shuttle to Port of Miami. It was fine for the short time we were there but next time would pick a location in a safer neighborhood. The bars on the windows surrounding the hotel lead us to believe venturing out after dark may not be a good idea. We in turn ate at the overpriced restaurant in the hotel. Food was fair at best. Shuttle to port was fine but the cost was much higher than a cab for our family of 4. Live and learn!

    3
« Needs major revival of staff »

the personnel are very pleasant but they are poorly trained, no bell staff, very poor phone service both when calling to the hotel, and once in the hotel difficult to get room service. Room service very poor in evening. This was my third and my last time to stay at this property. There was a problem getting into my assigned room and a maintenance man finally just cut off the dead bolt. itt was not repaired. He was helpful but it was his first day on the job. room was tired compared to Dec 2014 stay.

« Perfect after long flight. »

This was just an overnite for us, between flights. We had come from Europe, which was a long flight so wanted food and bed! Their restaurant leaves much to be desired, but it's there! Staff was great in both hotel and restaurant, but restaurant is overpriced and just all round lacking. If you are not too tired to move, then get out and find something else. The room, however, was amazing! So spacious and quiet. Perfect for our needs. The bed couldn't have been more comfortable and came with more pillows than we needed. And.......even better.......the bath had enough towels (4)! When was the last time you saw that? It was so nice not having to chase down more linens and pillows. Would definitely stay here again, and again and recommend it to friends!

    4
    « Close to airport-spacious, clean rooms! »

We chose this place mainly because it was close to the airport. When we arrived we were surprised to find the rooms very spacious, the beds very comfortable and able to get a reasonable rate on Expedia. The hotel was very clean and the rooms all had couches and chairs plus a king size bed. Very nice! The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a wonderful Latin Cafe within 8 easy walking blocks. The shuttle runs every hour to the airport and starts at 0500 with every 1/2 hour at 0600. The shuttle was very prompt for us going and returning from the airport. They have computers to get your boarding passes and print them. The room was very quiet-no planes or noisy people bothered us while sleeping. The last morning we arose at 0400 to catch our early flight and they already had coffee made for us! The area is not ideal but we felt totally safe.

    « Okay for a stop off »

Stayed at this hotel for one night. It was clean and tidy.. Although marketed as a premier I have to say the rooms looked a little dated. I have stayed at best western plus before which was better and cheaper. Breakfast was good, but coffee weak (like tasty water). I was probably just unlucky here. Good value for a stop off/ one night but wouldn't want to stay longer.

    « Mediocre...and crazy wiring »

Stayed here because I got an airline voucher for it. The a/c would not cool the room down compelling... Kept shutting off after a couple of minutes. But the really bizarre thing is that the bedside alarm clock shuts off if you throw the light switch by the door.... So the clock is wrong, the alarm is turned off, and they are a pain to reset. . Might be a blessing though, because the clock display was so bright that I feared a sunburn. The room was clean and well serviced.

« The last time I stay at a Best Western »

I love to write positive reviews, also sharing any negatives alongside it, however my experience at this hotel had more negatives than positives. I booked this hotel due to them having a "free shuttle" due to a planned 13 hour layover between flights. Unfortunately American Airlines delayed the flight by over 6 hours, which resulted in me arriving at the hotel after 3am (for a 4 our stay). I called from LAX to advise I will be there in the morning due to the delay and asked what i needed to do in order to get the shuttle. I was told that the last shuttle would be midnight, which as a result meant I needed to use supershuttle to get there (money out of my pocket, and me thinking why a large chain would not run shuttles to meet delayed flights for customers) When I got there, checkin was quick and friendly, I was given my room key and off I went. The room was nice, bed was nice, view not so nice, but was fine for the short stay, I did find that there was no alarm clock (which their site advised rooms had) which was a little annoying, however I was able to organise a wake up via reception. After a little sleep, I checked out, again friendly staff, quick checkout and met the shuttle to return this tired soul to the airport. A few days later I went to pay for a scuba diving course I had planned to attend at the resort I was staying, to find the transaction was declined. I checked my bank and found that BW had 2 amounts pending, 1 around $98 and another just over $50. As everything was prepaid (and this was confirmed at checkin) I did not know what they would pre-authorise either (let alone both) amounts for incidentals. This left me in a bind when it came to enjoying the rest of my holiday (as I needed that money) .. I was hoping they would just disappear off the pending transactions and all would be good .. but not the $98 amount became a transaction. I wrote to BW and advised them of the hardship this cause, including the fact that it cost me even more with the pathetic AUD exchange rate, bank fees and so on. They replied and said they will contact the hotel, and a week later apologised for the mistake and stated they would refund the amount. The amount was refunded (although the $50 amount remains a pending transaction) and as suspected the refunded amount became less value to me once back in the account. There was no reason given by them for the transactions, nothing (apart from the refund) offered. And unfortunately this is the 2nd time a best western hotel has taken money from my card of a large amount for no reason (and again with no explanation after the fact) As a result I will never stay at this chain again, even if they are the cheapest or most convenient for me. I wish I was there longer to review the restaurant and other amenities for you, however can only write about my experience and the headache it caused. Personally I would recommend looking elsewhere.

    « Very comfortable. »

Very clean rooms and atmosphere. stayed 1 night and it was great. The service was friendly, but everyone seemed very busy when asking them questions. Overall we enjoyed our visit and location. Parking included, not breakfast.

    « Beautiful Miami »

The room was great! Clean and well equipped. The restaurant was fantastic. The food was fairly priced and tasted great. Our server, Simon, was the best we ever had. Attentive, friendly and very personable. We would definitely stay here again!

    « Would not return »

I booked the hotel on Expedia for a good price. It was near the airport and check in went smoothly. That's about the only good thing I can say besides parking was free. There were no parking spaces on a weekday. I can't imagine a weekend. The room was semi clean but there were stains on the chair and sheets. We called guest services to extend our stay one, they told us to call back in 10 minutes but never answered when we did. I had to go down to the front desk to ask. I thought they were just too busy to answer but upon arriving at the front desk, they were chit-chatting and standing around. Very disappointing. Then they called us at 1 am to let us know the lights were on in my car but after walking to the car, they were not on. The security officer only spoke Spanish so he was not able to let us know what the problem was. All in all it was not a great stay and we decided to check out early and go to another hotel.

    « Great stay »

Our family of 4 had a great stay at the BW Premier Miami. Room was very big, very clean and quiet. Made for an excellent night sleep. Our kids enjoyed the pool and the breakfast was incredible. Kids under 7 eat free!! We checked in early and they were able to accommodate us. We also got to know the staff in short order and had a terrific time speaking with Simon who works in the restaurant and his wife who works at the front desk. We managed to get some great advice on things to do in Miami! Thanks to all the staff and management at BW Premier Miami.

    « Updated, clean rooms. »

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Miami. It is conveniently located for an early flight. The rooms were very clean and well appointed. The beds were comfy and we loved the pillow assortment. They have a 2 for 1 happy hour in the bar which is nice. My only complaint was the pool needed more screening from the road noise.

« Nice updated hotel near the airport »

We stayed here when our plane arrived late due to mechanical failures. The hotel was close to the airport and has a shuttle that runs every 30 minutes to the airport. The hotel must have been recently updated because the rooms were fresh with new everything. The bathroom had new tile and tops, with a hairdryer and all the soaps and shampoos that one wood need. The room was complete with a fridge and microwave and a nice flat screen TV. The TV did not have a guide on the remote, so plan on doing a lot of surfing. HBO is also part of the TV. The king bed was great with plenty of pillows and bedding. It was one of the nicest airport hotels we have been put up in do to plane issues.

« Great pre cruise hotel! »

We're headed on out on a cruise from the port of Miami. This hotel has free pick up from the airport and a $10 shuttle to the port making it very convenient. It's clean and quiet. And on the morning of the cruise Simon, Aurdy, and Daniel at the restaurant provided really excellent service that made our travel day to the port so much more pleasant and stress free!

« very nice airport hotel »

The room is furnished nicely and has a very good amount of space. The room was desiged with travelling in mind (easy access to lots of outlets). The fridge and microwave with the wetbar ensure you can get some snacks warmed up or even a meal if you wanted to. The bed was very comfortable. The TV swivels so you have a good view from both couch and bed. The "seperation" between living and sleeping space is really more a design aspect but the roomw orled great for us. The attached restaurant however was a disappointment for breakfeast. The food was okay but the service was awful (made us wait 15min to place the order and then told us stuff clearly on the menu was not availalbe). Had to ask for things over and over and then they added at 15% mandatory gratuity.

    « Out of towners »

Check in was smooth and easy. The room was very nice. The bed had great support, plenty of pillows in different firmness, and the a/C was working well. Dinner was expensive for what we ordered, but the taste was great. The morning breakfast crew were right on target. We were served by Sam and "Barbie" and Daylien, who made the best coffee, which made my morning. Great location for an overnight stay, I wish we were staying longer.

    « Cuba layover »

Clean, great price. Easy to find, near nice places . One night on a return trip from Cuba-relaxing. Flagged street busy at rush hour but hotel was quiet. This is new. Restaurant and bar area was nice.

« Very good for the price »

On this trip to Miami this hotel was the best deal considering price and reviews. It could be perfect but there are some reasons I won't give 5 stars Rooms are modern and very clean all hotel areas are in perfect shape. Service is not Check in was a pain, had to return 3 times to the front desk because my key did not open and the staff was not friendly at all, they say it was me putting the keys near my cel phone, but after the 4th time the changed the keys for new ones and finally open. Elevators are slow and had to do lines to get into the elevator many times. They are slow , so be patient Besides this 2 issues it was OK

    4
« Great Location at a good price »

It was our second stay at this Best Western, we like the location for shopping, a day trip to the beach (its not close to the beach, about 20 mins by car) or the airport. We had a little problem at check in, because the safe box at our room did not work, however we were changed to another room very quickly. The beds are very comfortable and it has a parking available next to the building.

« Best Western PREMIER Miami International Airport Hotel & Suites, Miami, FLORIDA »

This hotel was good but there were a few things that need improvement to uphold the standard for a Best Western Premier hotel. The rooms could be cleaner including the bedding. The electrical outlets in each room should be working at all times (They weren't during my stay.). I went to another Best Western Premier in a different city and I felt like I was in the most peaceful environment. The stay in Miami was totally different.

    4
« This is Right Near the Airport »

One of the most friendly and Nicest Best Westerns. Everything you want from a hotel, close, quiet, friendly staff, clean and all amenities right there. The free breakfast is typical of a best western but the sitting area is right in the lobby. You don't miss anything. The best part of this hotel is the staff so very accommodating. Bravo Zulu to you all.

« Great option for stay near the airport. »

Needed a hotel for early flight to Caribbean. The price was great, airport pick up and return worked perfect. The restaurant was very good, offered a happy hour with awesome mojitos and appetizers. Complimentary coffee in the lobby while waiting to check out and head to airport.

    3
    « A convenient location, but... »

As a Best Western rewards customer, my default choice when it comes to hotels will usually be BW location. I needed a place to stay overnight before embarking on a cruise the next day, and this hotel was ideal: it's close to Miami International Airport, offers a free shuttle from the airport, and has a restaurant/bar on the premises. And for cruise ship passengers, they also offer a $10 shuttle to the cruise ship terminal pier. All in all, it fit the bill. The Best Western Premiere Miami International Airport is a clean, comfortable facility. The restaurant is slightly on the pricey side, but offers good food, and the bar staff can make an excellent mojito. Having said all that, there is a significant design flaw in this hotel which manifested itself the next morning when it came time to check out and depart en route to my cruise. This is a six story hotel with more than 140 rooms, all serviced by two elevators. Understand that the vast majority of cruise ship lines plan their embarkations to happen on either a Saturday or a Sunday, which means a high percentage of the guests of this hotel seek to leave during a relatively short window of time on those days. During my stay, one of the elevators broke down, which left hundreds of guests, and all their luggage, to use only one elevator. The waits just to get an elevator so that you could check out and catch your shuttle were excessive. Add to this that the stairwells don't exit to the lobby at the ground floor- they go outside, meaning you have to walk around the building to get to the main entrance. While I can point to the loss of an elevator as an inconvenience, in fairness, you can't hold the staff entirely responsible for the mechanical fidelity of something like an elevator if it chooses to break down on a Sunday. What I can hold the staff responsible for is the wait to check out. If you're running a hotel specifically catering to people who are checking in for an overnight stay before heading to a cruise, and you know cruise ship schedules are heavy with weekend (morning) embarkations, why would you not anticipate this and have multiple employees staffing the desk to facilitate check outs? Bottom line: this hotel is conveniently located, comfortable, clean and features a nice restaurant, but if you know you're going to be in a hurry on your check out day to make it to a cruise, you will want to pad your estimate on how long it will take to get through by close to an hour or face some potential inconvenience- especially if one of the elevators goes down.

« Overnight stay before cruise »

Free transfer from airport, didn't have to wait too long for this. Room was comfortable for 1 night. Bed comfy but didn't think the room was that clean. Found hair in the bathroom and on the carpet which put me off. Was ok for 1 night but not sure would stay again. We booked the transfer from hotel to Miami Port for $10 each and also paid for them to pick us up after the cruise. This was a big mistake as we waited from 10am for 2 hours and ended up having to get a taxi to the airport!! Lesson learnt in paying up front for a service! It was actually only $27 from port to Airport so wish we had just done this in the first place.

« St John Trip home »

THIs hotel was a nice upgrade from the traditional Best Westerns I typically stay at on the Pacific Coast. It was just as nice as any Hilton or others. The rooms were very clean and the hotel was new with a nice bar/lounge.

« The food was not great »

We stayed here not out of choice but because our airline put us here. We had a nice spacious room. The staff were friendly. Really helpful when your stressed after being messed around. When we arrived it was quite late but we all needed to eat so headed to the restaurant.. The food was meant to be a la carte which to me isn't suitable for kids. We ordered two kids burgers and two lots of scampi.. The kids burgers looked ok but the kids wouldn't eat them as they were rare.. The scampi was bits left in the bottom of bag it was over cooked and awful. So bad in fact I couldn't eat mine and my husband only ate a small amount of his. We decided for the rest of the stay we wouldn't eat in the hotel again and used the local restaurants around it. The hotel was quiet. It had a great shuttle bus to and from the airport. It was a little bit away from anything really considering we had to stay for two days. You really need a car. The hotel was clean, tidy and warm.

    « Okay Hotel »

We came to Miami for the Miami Tennis Open in Key Biscayne. We chose this hotel because of availability and the better than average price during the Spring break. The price of the room was 50% higher than normal. There is nothing exceptional around the hotel but good Cuban restaurants within a 2 miles radius. Downtown Miami was a 12-15 minutes drive and the tennis center 20 minutes away. We spent 7 days at this hotel. The hotel had free parking and free Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi strength was okay. We had a King Room(#721) which came with a microwave and refrigerator. The room was very good size with typical amenities of a 3.5 star hotel. The staffs at the hotel were pretty friendly. The hotel offers only free shuttle service to the Miami Airport.

« Only Stay There If You Have To »

We blew our connection due to failures at passport control and American Airlines. We received a voucher for the hotel. The room was fine with good A/C. The store inside had no basics like tooth brushes or tooth paste. The food prices were outrageous for lackluster meals. The main desk attendants were lackluster and offered little in any way. Hope you never get stuck there.

« Adequate Hotel Close to Coral Gables and Little Havana »

I was pleased with the free parking and free internet. They were the only two free things on this trip. Miami is very expensive, from outrageous parking fees literally everywhere (in Coral Gables you're charged 24 hours a day) to charges for toll roads to expensive restaurants, except in Little Havana which is close to the hotel. I'm not sure I'll ever go back. But this hotel was a good value at $159/night considering what all the other hotels cost. In any other normal city (not New York, Boston, San Francisco), I wouldn't pay more than $89/night. One other downside: the housekeeper left an envelope on the desk each night labelled "TIPS". My tip: You're lucky I don't complain about this and have you fired! I mean, seriously, tips?

    5
    « Excellent customer service »

In particular, Jocelyn went far out of her way to correct a mistake that was not even on her or Best Western's part. The staff in general provides excellent customer service, but I have to commend Jocelyn. I will definitely stay here when I am in the area.

    « Miami Family Vacation »

Very clean and comfortable hotel. Nice little restaurant on site and their Sunday brunch was a hit! All of the furnishings appeared to be new which was great! Location was good because we were approximately 15-20 minutes from most attractions and malls. I would definitely stay here again.

« Clean hotel and convenient location »

The were friendly and the hotel was a good location. Free shuttle from the airport ( a bit confusing actually finding it ) and an inexpensive shuttle to the cruise port. We didn't use the on site restaurant but there were places local, that we ate at. Would return again.

« Solid option near Miami International Airport »

Only there briefly but enjoyed the breakfast and the service from Simon, Ailyn, and Dailyn. Rooms are solid and amenities were all good for a hotel so close to the airport. Well reviewed restaurant located in the lobby serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

« Good Location Near the Airport »

This is about what you should expect in a motel close to a major airport. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with good soundproofing. The TV and WiFi work well. There is a guest laundry, albeit inconveniently located to all who are not on the 7th floor. The best aspect of the place is a first class bar and tapas restaurant just off the lobby. Tired from traveling, and planning on an early morning the next day, we opted to try the place and were glad we did. We made a meal from some excellent guacamole and ceviche samplers...and a couple of mojitos. That's what you get when you don't have to worry about driving home. Our room wasn't available when we arrived well ahead of the specified check in time. "Just a few minutes," we were told. That proved to be optimistic. It would be nice if hotels planned on this happening occasionally and had a better place to wait than the lobby. Even a luggage storage room would be an improvement.

« Nice place to stay if overnighting at MIA »

Nice room and friendly staff. The breakfast at the hotel was very good. Simon (?), Ailny and Daniel all work very hard to make it a pleasurable dining experience. The room was nice and it was clean. The view wasn't too great but that can't be helped. Van driver in the morning was a bit rude to people, especially the lady that showed up exactly at the departure time, he really needs an attitude adjustment, but everyone just ignored his behavior. We'll most likely stay here again next time too.

    « Good Business Hotel »

Nice hotel located quite close to Miami International Airport. Rooms have a good size, a bery confortable bed, good Internet Connection, flat tv and everything works as it should. Delivers what it promises. Attention just to the traffic around the hotel that gets ugly in rush hours.

    3
    « Meh, I guess it's okay »

The hotel was clean and decent. The restaurant was a little overpriced but the staff were friendly. The front desk staff were not entirely knowledgeable. They informed me that the shuttle to the port of Miami would be announced prior to departure. Ten minutes later I was told the shuttle left without me. I had been waiting in the lobby fifteen minutes before the scheduled departure and there was no announcement made. I had to wait another hour before the shuttle returned. I understand there's traffic, but that can't explain the lack of communication. Someone did apologize, but when people are relying on you for correct information so they can get to their destination on time, you need to step up your game. Would I stay here again? Maybe, but I wouldn't rely on their transportation.

« Nice hotel, staff could use some work on friendliness »

The hotel is nice and a great value, close to airport, but very thin walls, we could hear cars all night. The staff is not informative or friendly at all. We checked in and got all our bags, as they watched us get in the elevator and it didn't work and we sat there and wondered what we were doing wrong. We got out and asked them what we needed to do, again as they watched us, and they said, "oh that elevator can only take two people up at a time." Well that would have been helpful information to have before five of us with luggage piled in. Thanks, for letting us entertain you. Next we got up to the room to rest up a bit from our travels and tried to turn on the to. Not working. We looked all around for some sort of switch or sign of energy saver. Nothing. I have been in energy saving hotels before. They have a little sign by a switch by the door that says how they safe the environment by providing this switch for people to turn off e dry thing before leaving the room and turning on everything when checking in, but there is always a sign, always. My husband went down sat airs to let them know about the to, that's when they tell us about the switch, not when we check in? Oh by the way... Really? Thanks for the helpful info. I'll just forget to recommend this hotel, like they forgot to inform us of all the tricks to their tricky hotel.

« Good choice for airport hotel »

We have stayed at more than a dozen different hotels close to MIA and this is our one of choice as it is very convenient to both the airport and the city, is clean and good value and the bed is great. We were very disappointed with the restaurant and won't go back but this was our second visit to the hotel and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality.

« Nice hotel close to airport and cruise port »

Stayed for one night pre-cruise. This hotel is very nice and close to the airport. The bed was the most comfortable bed I think I have ever slept in. The room was very spacious and was clean. The lobby was pleasant but nothing special. There is a small sundries area where you can purchase junk food, drinks and amenities like Tylenol or toothpaste if you need to. There is a small restaurant with a breakfast buffet but it is not included in the price. We ordered breakfast off of the menu and it was good, hot food. I found the sausage and bacon to be a little strange compared to what I am used to in Canada (the sausage were actually hot dogs) but other than that the food was tasty. The coffee machine in the room made good tasting coffee. There was free wifi in the rooms and public areas. We didn't explore the area very much but there was a Burger King, a convenience store and gas station right across the street, and an iHop a couple of blocks away. The hotel offered a free airport shuttle but we didn't want to wait around for it to drive by at the airport so we took a taxi which cost $17. Leaving for the port there was also a shared shuttle bus for $10 per person that left the hotel at 11, 12 or 1pm. We wanted to get there earlier so we took a taxi to the prt which cost $27 (metered fare).

« Very nice place to stay, good restaurant, nice staff, free shuttle from the airport »

It was a nice place to stay. The room was very nice, the bed very comfortable and the restaurant in the hotel had very good food. The free shuttle from the airport was nice and the offer a shuttle service to the port of Miami. The staff were very nice, courteous and helpful as well.

    3
    « Good stop over »

We used this as a stop over between a cruise and flight. We arrived around 9pm the shuttle took about 20min to pick us up so the timing was average. When we arrived at the hotel check in was fast and the room was clean and well appointed. We tried to eat that the restaurant in the hotel but service was slow (15 min and still no menus or water). The Hotel was close to a market and a few fast food restaurants. All in all it really lived up to my needs.

« A restful night berfore our flight out »

Very close to Miami International ... yet quiet. A very restful evening before an early morning flight. The bar is good - great atmosphere. Close to quite a few restaurants of any price range and cuisine.

    3
    « Skip the restaurant »

Convenient to the airport and an adequate modern motor inn but pricey. We arrived on Valentines Day and the restaurant was offering only an expensive set Valentine's meal. The steak offered was easily the worst we have been served in 30 years. Not since a $1.50 steak at a cheap pension in Managua (1980) have I been served a piece of beef this awful, tough and tasteless.

    4
« A suggestion for people going to the cruise port »

Yes there is a shuttle to the cruise port for a fee. I have a suggestion for the brave at heart! This is what we did. We came in the day before our cruise, which most people do just in case there are flight delays. I did some research and discovered that if I rented a car overnight some had free shuttles to the cruise port when you return the car the next day. Here are the reasons for this decision and I was VERY happy with my decision. 1. Rather than packing liquids like sunscreen, motion-sickness/stomach and headache pills you can drive to a pharmacy and get them there all for low prices. This also meant we just brought carry-ons which usually fits everything you need for a cruise. 2. When you arrive you can get to a restaurant for a decent meal-I would suggest something Cuban:) 3. If you are adventurous drive to South Beach for the experience and perhaps a bite to eat and walk on the beach 4. Parking is free at the hotel. 5. Cruise shuttles leave every few minutes from the car return site at the airport. We got on the shuttle back from the port too and no one asked for any reservation (shhhh...) 6. Dollar car rental was the company I used and I paid $29.00!!! total. Be sure to chose Miami-Cruise Ship as your pick up and return. Enjoy your holiday!

« GREAT SERVICE IN THE RESTAURANT »

We were extremely impressed with the pleasant and helpful demeanor of Simon (the manager) and Ailyn (our waitress). They were friendly (lots of smiles). They actually seemed happy that we were there and anxious to serve us! The food was great. We ordered bagels and they came with cream cheese, jam, and fresh fruit. We recommend you stay at the Best Western Premier. It is close to the airport and convenient to drive to. Diane and Tom Mudano and Sue Lemelin

« Nice place to stay »

2nd time staying at this hotel during our winter vacation. We like the fact that the hotel is close to airport and has a free shuttle to and from the airport; and like that there is a shuttle service for a reasonable fee to the Port. Not a lot of restaurants around. Burger King across the street is handy. Short walk to a Publix. Rooms are very nice and bed is extremely comfortable! Staff is very friendly. Only thing is location is not great if you plan to stay more than a couple of nights - would have to use a taxi or have a vehicle. We would definitely stay here again!

    « Awful experience »

upon arrival, the girl at the front desk was very nice and let us check in early (1pm vs 3pm) so that was very nice. everything was going well until the second day. waitstaff for breakfast was SO RUDE! there was this young guy there who was absolute miserable and not friendly at all. did not offer us juice, gave us coffee no milk. SO RUDE, it made me feel so sad and didnt want to stay there at all. everyone else around us was being waited on nicely. whats the deal? they also barley speak English so heads up on that. 3rd day got worst. they threw away important documents i had in my room. WHY IN THE EARTH would house keeping throw away something that LOOKED IMPORTANT COME ON! i called front desk and basically they didnt care at all. said i needed to speak to housekeeping manager. SO DISAPPOINTED. ordered room service for dinner, same miserable kid, forgot my utensil and drink. the final day the waiter was very nice, what a turn around but the food SUCKS and is SO MUCH MONEY. I would never stay here again.

Stayed here for business training, ok if you just want a place to lay your head for the night. Most things in the disabled room did not work. Clock radio could not be set to the correct time, let alone set the alarm. Refrigerator was not cold even at highest setting. Bathroom need a shelf between the sink and toilet. Horrible for those of us who are disabled but not in wheelchair. Hotel advertises best happy hour in Miami but I doubt it. Three things I ordered in wine not available unless you bought a bottle (Riesling?) and discount on appetizers. Picture shows shower seat, none available. TV reception did not get most common stations. Frustrating experience to say the least. Lastly, go to the burger king across the street if you want a decent cup of coffee. What they serve is more like tea.

« Good airport hotel with free shuttle bus »

Nothing to fault here, other reviewers have covered it pretty well. Just thought I'd flesh out some details on the free shuttle bus for this arriving at the airport. All hotel shuttle buses come to the concourse outside of the 2nd level departures area. As there is a lot of traffic going through here they tend to cruise along slowly looking to see if anyone hails them when they see the logo on the bus. So, just follow the airport lobby signs to hotel transfer buses and when you finally get to the outside noisy bit just pick a spot where you can see the passing traffic and keep you eyes for the white bus logos. Remember this is Best Western Premier, don't get the Best Western Plus bus by mistake!

« Friendly and helpful staff! »

We needed one night stay prior to an early morning departure from MIA. The Best Western Premier offered free airport shuttle, and the desk staff gave us an excellent dinner recommendation. The room was quiet, comfortable, and the decor lovely. Would stay again.

« Hotel stay before cruise »

This hotel has a shuttle from the airport and quick check in. Once you get to your room you're greeted with large and comfortable beds. I had dinner and drinks last night and breakfast this morning in the restaurant downstairs. The staff was friendly and courteous and the food was wonderful... if I am ever back in Miami I would definitely stay here again.

    « Miami Cruise »

Stayed at the Best Western Premier for one night prior to boarding our cruise ship at the Miami port. Enjoyed Happy Hour and an excellent dinner at Sabores. Picked up breakfast at the Burger King across the street the next morning since the hotel menu seemed pricey. Room was clean and comfortable. A shuttle service to the port was provided for $10.00 per person. Would stay here again and would recommend this hotel to anyone needing a place to stay prior to leaving for their cruise.

    « Almost gave it 5 stars »

We stayed at this hotel with a group of 5 so we had 2 room total. I was very happy with this hotel when we arrived, the room was nice, comfy and clean. They even gave us rooms on the same floor which was very nice. Another plus was on one of the nights we ordered take out and front desk called to tell us the delivery guy arrived, this gave us a safe feeling because they wont let just anybody walk through the hotel. But now comes the problem. We encountered a problem with house keeping. Just to be clear this was one particular person because we stayed for five nights and all the other days everything was fine. On the day of check out house keeping came knocking at 7:30 am asking if and when we were checking out, that was way to early and not the end of it. At the second room she did the same thing but because nobody answered she opened the door so everybody would wake up. And to me this was unacceptable.

    « Stay before Cruise »

This location offers the cruise package which is great no need to call for a cab and wait. The location was close to the airport and the staff were great, one in particular exceeded my expectations Roberto Zaldivar. Would stay here again.

    « Comfortable and accommodating »

I had a reservation for one night and check in isn't till 3, but I arrived early and they let me do an early check-in so I could freshen up for my meeting. the room was comfortable and quiet, even though the hotel is on a busy street and I was on the 3rd floor. It's a bit out of the way from the airport and downtown, but worth it.

« GREAT HOTEL IF YOU NEED TO GO TO THE AIRPORT »

We stayed here one night to catch a flight in the morning. Hotel was clean, room was big and quiet. Room had a fridge and a microwave. We had dinner and drinks. Drinks were amazing, loved their mojitos. Food was on the expensive side. Airport shuttle runs every 30 minutes and made the trip to and from the airport very convenient.

    « Bad experience »

We went here overnight after a late night flight. For $300 a night I expected more. Room smelled like urine, staff very unfriendly. Really you want a tip for cleaning my room? I walked past you in the hall 3x and said good morning only to be ignored. Thank goodness there is a bell at the front desk because nobody is ever there. The in hotel restaurant Sabores (see attached pic). Saturday brunch? NOT, couldn't even get a bloody mary. Ordered off the menu "the southerner" not available said the server (just like the bloody Mary's). Why would you have a fully stocked bar and no tomato juice? The breakfast buffet $8.99 is what you call continental free breakfast in any other hotel. Husband had that 8.99 cont. breakfast I ordered off menu. Service was so lousy we went to hotel lobby to get our own water. Server forgot my oj included with my breakfast when I went to buffet to get my own oj I was scolded for taking from buffet, really? I'm doing your job. Went to pay for breakfast and was only charged for one meal until we pointed it out to her then she added other breakfast. I rarely write reviews but did this one so others don't waste their hard earned $

    « For this price??? »

While the room is nicely appointed, the bathroom is very dark and certainly not accommodating to the application of make up. The breakfast room was so cold you could have hung meat quite safely there. In addition they charged nine bucks for a very basic cold breakfast with a waffle iron available. At the price of the rooms, I would have expected a complementary, nicer breakfast. The rooms are quite nice, large, with adequate workspace and outlets. The only complaint was traffic noise, even on the fourth floor.

« Not too bad near MIA but .... »

Overall, a nice hotel, with a pretty nice room. Near MIA. But a few things that were a problem. Upon check in I was asked for my AAA card to verify the rate. So I whipped out my iPhone Wallet to show my digital AAA card. "We don't take that, we need a real card." I was like it's midnight and it's 2016. Here's my card. So I had to do a screen grab and email it to someone's personal Gmail account. In the morning, went to get complimentary coffee and it was out. (At 730 am no less). Had to buy my own cup of coffee at the hotel restaurant. Same coffee and all. So not a PREMIER experience. More like what I expected from a Best Western. Still a nice comfy room.

    « Overall a nice place »

We stayed here because we like Best Western. It offered a shuttle to the Miami Port and that worked out great. Check in was fast and friendly. Our room was nice and the bed and pillows were really comfortable. The not so great part was the location of the room being a few doors from the main lobby. A loud rolling cart went by earlier than I was ready to get up. It was also confusing for not only myself, but other guests as to whether they offered free breakfast or not. I didn't pursue it, I just paid for breakfast.

« Used lotion in our room »

I was very happy with this hotel when we arrived, we booked through Expedia and got complimentary water & chocolate; the room looked great, clean and comfy. The pizza guy got in and there were menus under the door, toilet roll made to look like a flower. Then the fiasco over lotion started. We get into the room about midnight/12.30ish and upon going to the bathroom find that the lotion in our room had been 3/4 used. I looked at the phone, there's several buttons for things like front desk, housekeeping, reservations etc. So I call the front desk - no answer and no room on the machine to leave a message, so I try housekeeping, same thing. I waited a little between calls and get nothing, by 1am (about 6 tries later) I decide to try again when I get up after some sleep. We got up about 6.30am, we had a big day ahead, still no answer on both lines so I called the reservations number and spoke to a girl in a call centre telling her that I'm just trying to get hold of reception. She puts me in hold, calls them and is pretty much the middle man for a while, tells me someone will be right up with the lotion then asks why I didn't report it when we arrived...are you f-ing kidding me? 10 minutes later no one has come and we needed to leave, dry legs and all. At reception upon check-out we try to tell the lady the story and she didn't want to hear it, it was clear no one was even on the way to our room because she acted like it was the first she'd heard of it, she just gets 2 bottles of lotion out of the drawer and gives them to me. Then tells me that I should have called 0 because those buttons on the phone DO NOTHING! Well what the F are they there for then? If someone had of just changed the lotion in the first place, this would have been 5 stars.

« The worst customer service ever »

My family and I booked this hotel for a one night stay from orbits through travel rewards. We were on our way to a cruise and had to stay for one night. We were looking for a hotel with breakfast included and ultimately chose this one as the site indicated it does. When we did go for breakfast in the morning, the server mumbled something and walked away but we saw the usual buffet of cereal, coffee and fruit and figured that must be it. The food was less than mediocre and as it turns out they told us we have to pay. While sitting down we watched other people come in, also disoriented and also not being informed until after the fact. We spoke with front desk, who in a rude tone of voice would not even let us get a word in while she was trying to tell us that their website says no breakfast and it's not their fault that a third party site said includes breakfast. This individual was rude and unhelpful and frankly, the worst customer service I've ever had. I did ask to speak with a manager and she advised they were not there. Again, not helpful at all. So we were forced to pay the 8.99$ plus tax each for 4 people for a breakfast made of toast and cereal on top of experiencing the worst customer service. Needless to say, we will not be staying here again and will think twice before considering booking with any Best Western.

    « Fine for a short stay »

This hotel was comfortable, staff were helpful. There is a shuttle from Miami International Airport. We thought breakfast was included in our room rate, but it wasn't. Wasn't an issue though as IHOP is a short walk away. There's also a CVS nearby. We didn't use the restaurant or gym, so can't comment on those. Had a good sleep. I don't think the location is especially great, although it appears to be in a nice neighbourhood. I would stay again if I needed an airport hotel near MIA again. Free wifi worked well.

    « Don't believe the brochure. »

First of all, the hotel is attractive, the rooms are nice, but there are a couple of things that really bugged me. We've stayed at a lot of Best Western Pluses, and really enjoy the complementary breakfasts. So when we booked at the Best Western Premier, which is supposed to be a step above, we expected an even nicer complementary meal. Forget about it. Not only was there no complementary breakfast, but the "restaurant" on location was just a noisey bar with a few tables to eat at (noisey for dinner. Didn't go there for breakfast). The in-room information book states "free coffee in the lobby 24 hours a day". Forget about it. No coffee before 6:45 A.M. I was told by the front desk that " I'm the only one here. You'll have to wait until housekeeping gets here." When I told her the booklet said free coffee 24 hrs. a day, she said she didn' t know what the booklet said, but I'll have to wait. The information said that a coin operated laundry was available on the 7th floor, and that soap and a change machine was available. Forget about it. There were 2 soap dispensers, but both were either broken or empty. Change machine? Forget about it. None available. When I went all the way back to the front desk, she said there's never been one available. Then she had to dig through 3 drawers to find me 8 quarters. The rates at this Beat Western are twice as much as we have ever paid, but you receive less amenities. We'll look elsewhere next time.

« Nice surprise for an airport hotel »

We were recently stranded in Miami due to a blizzard. Luckily, we were able to get a booking here. I cannot compliment the staff behind the desk enough. They are the most pleasant accommodating young people I have met in a long time. Nothing was too much for them, from taking our bags to a check room to calling taxis to rebooking us nightly because we did not know when we could leave. We had a wonderful suite. So tasteful and large. There was an entire sitting area with a couch tables and a brand new tv, comfortable arm chars. I have been in higher priced places that did not have enough chairs for 2 people to sit comfortably. Also, quiet with 4 rooms on this floor. Suite couch opens so 3 or 4 could occupy the room. Great if you are traveling with kids.

« Good accommodation and restaurant; albeit a little haphazard »

Spacious, quiet and clean rooms, decent breakfast choice including fresh fruit any yogurts. Enjoyable and nicely presented dinner choice but for some reason, the menus don't remotely correspond with what they have available. Although hardly any dinners, they offered us menus that they knew to be completely out of date; they only had a few that were correct which made the experience unnecessarily challenging!

« Flight delayed; we were put up in this hotel »

Well, after a nightmare of a trip, flight wise, and 3 overnights paid for by the airline in 3 different cities, we stayed in this hotel. Very nice. Clean, attractive, comfortable bed, great pillows. Only complaint was Miami tap water tastes terrible (not the hotel's fault); also the in-house restaurant seemed to be out of many of the items on the menu. Otherwise, a fine stay

    « Don't stay long its okay »

We got in late, as we had a 14 hour drive, when they sent us to our room, we opened the door and someone else already had the room, clothes where thrown everywhere and suit case was on the bed, when we went down the guy i don't think believed us, he went up and said well the room had been cleaned ... really!! think not. They gave us another room a few doors down, the room smelled like mold, stunk bad, we went to a store and had to buy air freshener it smelled so bad to us, we were tired and in no mood to fuss with them. The breakfast was so so, definately had better, but if you need to just stay a few hours you will do fine, a little pricey i thought, but it was a place to lay our heads.

    « Quick stay »

We staid in this hotel just one night. It was clean, the staff was friendly and the room/ suite was adequate for 4 people. It's not too far from the airport but definitely not the kind of location you want if you are on vacation in Miami.

    5
    « Pre-cruise stay »

The hotel itself was perfect. Good staff, nice room and amenities. The only disappointment is that the room does not include breakfast. It is available on site (as is dinner) for an extra charge. It was noted on the webpage so the fault was mine, but if it is important to you you might want to take it into consideration. We chose it because they offer shuttle to the cruise on day of departure (you make arrangements with the shuttle driver for pickup at your own expense- we were told $10 per person) and parking was free for the nights that we stayed and $10 for each night on the cruise. In the end we opted to not use the shuttle but drove to the Port as the drive was easy and it gave us an easier departure at the end of the cruise to have our car parked at the port. The property was extremely nice but there were limited opportunities for dinner nearby (we ate downtown before returning to our room). Downtown hotels are undeniably more convenient, but also much more expensive. We found this property to be a great compromise.

    « good airport hotel »

We spent one night at this hotel prior to making an early morning flight at MIA. We arrived after dinner and left before breakfast. I wanted a hotel with free parking, and free wifi. A free breakfast would have been nice, but not essential. The Best Western Premier met my requirements. The room was clean and quiet. Staff helped me print my boarding passes and gave me very simple directions to the car return center at MIA. We had a good experience here.

    « Better choice for a 1 night stopover »

A much better experience on the return from Havana. comfortable room with plenty of space, friendly staff free wifi though I could not get it to work but did not really try very hard. An onsite restaurant that was better than I expected but breakfast is not free.

« Clean room and nice lobby. »

    « NOT BAD 1 complaint »

Was in town a day early for a cruise the week of Christmas. It took an hr before shuttle bus showed. Other than that we enjoyed staying there. Also if you ask the fro front desk to call a cab make sure its a real cab company not just a person they know giving rides. Charged us 20 bucks to get to a restaurant that wasn't far. The restaurant called us a cab from a real cab company and it was 9 bucks to get back to hotel. The shuttle company to the port was legit you pay once and he comes back the day you come back from your cruise,

    « Slow and deceptive »

Very comfortable bed, but ... Check in was SLOOOOOOOW. We had a reservation, but had to stand in line for about 20 minutes while the two clerks slowly went about their business. One group of three women took all that time, and more, talking with the clerk. I don't know if they were asking directions, had problems, or were just trading recipes, but if it was anything other than checking in or out the clerk should have asked them to wait while she took care of other customers. We made the reservation several months ago. At that time breakfast was listed on their website as a free buffet. Fairly standard for the industry. However, that policy has apparently changed, as now it's listed as "Charges may apply". And at the restaurant itself, charges definitely DO apply. I told them it was free when I made the reservation, they said they didn't know about that, but that it's not free now. That type of bait and switch policy isn't acceptable, and we will not stay there again.

    « hotel room »

the hotel lobby was very nice. paid $300 for a room with ocean view since it was my birthday. toilet did not flush, carpet wet, they also charge $30. per day for parking in a small gargage that only holds maybe 25 cars. hard to park in small spaces. you must pay for chairs on the beach as well. not worth the money for being on a beach.

« Great Hotel Close to MIA »

We stayed at Best Western Premier for the one night. This part of a Florida package put together by AAA travel agent. We enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly. Hotel is close to the Miami International Airport and some excellent restaurants. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of accommodations at this hotel.

« No towels, management didn't make it right. »

After checking in, we went to the pool. We noticed that there were no pool towels so we dripped our way back to our room. In the room, we were surprised that there were no bath towels, only a few hand towels. I called the front desk and they told me they didn't have any dry towels, but would send some up soon. We bathed our kids and used the hand towels to dry them. I called again an hour later, still no towels. Tired of being cold and wet, I went to the exercise room and took the last towel, also the size of a hand towel. My wife and I showered and used the wet, nasty hand towels. We got our kids to bed and called the desk once more, hours after the first call, to express our displeasure and to tell them NOT to send towels at this point because it would wake up our kids. There was a very weak apology and that was it. What kind of hotel doesn't have adequate towels in the room we paid for, nor at the pool? The wreaks of poor management. I never write reviews, but I am super steamed about this. Terrible service. I won't stay here again.

« Restaurant service and experience a disaster »

After we missed our connecting flight due to a delay on the part of the airline, we were offered a room in the best western. What can I say about the best western premier in Miami. The room was great and the check in staff were welcoming. However it went very much downhill from there. For starters the restaurant service was the worst I have ever experienced. The waitress continually walked passed oblivious to our existence. After an approx 45 mins wait, our meal was served to us in a plastic bag. This was the complementary dinner provided on behalf of our airline. To add insult to injury we were asked did we want our plates removed so we ate from plastic containers. Bearing in mind we were tired and stressed after a long day of travelling. When we started eating we were presented with a receipt and asked to sign it straight away. This was questioned which received a mute answer. The following morning we were delayed once more as an unnecessary amount of time elapsed before we were given our deposits back and subsequently missed the shuttle bus. I would avoid this hotel at all costs.

« Awesome location with great staff »

Everything went just great and smooth. Staff was on top of every details. I did not know what to expect with this stay but it turn out to be a great experience. Starting with the front desk, housekeeping, restaurant, etc they were all into his role helping guests in any way they could . Highly recommended

    « FREE PARKING!!! »

Friends getaway weekend. 5 rooms 10 people.... All 5 rooms were clean! All rooms good size. Bed was comfortable, Decent decor Strong A/C unit When you turn off the a/c the room will have a humid smell (same for all rooms) we recommend leaving the a/c running on the lowest setting to get rid of the smell. Good Location as long as you've rented a car! Easy access to all major roads and highway. One of the only hotels to offer free parking. For $7.99 a Continental buffet breakfast. We rate it at 3 starts. Price is right just not enough options at the buffet. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

    4
    « Very satisfactory »

For our purpose it was well situated near the airport with goog parking space for cars. We did not eat at the hotel so we have no commet there, but it was good with access to internet for airline checkin etc. To summarise " we will be back". Best regards Gunnar and Tanja

« Beautiful Room! Great location! »

We flew to Miami on Halloween night because we were boarding a cruise the following morning. The airport had a free shuttle to the hotel which was super convenient and really just 5 minutes down the road. The lobby is updated and very nicely decorated. They have a restaurant which we didn't have time to check out and a small shopping area with convenience items. The room was beautiful. Very spacious and comfortable. Beautiful bathroom with an oversized tub. The view was decent. You could see the airport as well as what I think is the end of South beach however the next lot over is doing construction so that part we looked over. Overall a great experience! This hotel didn't get a 5 for 3 reasons 1. The woman who checked us in...I think Rosalyn...I could be wrong was very rude. No smile whatsoever. Bad attitude. We asked if there was a complimentary breakfast in the morning and she said in a very condescending tone "Yes, but that doesn't come with your package." I'm not sure what "package" we got but we found that odd. Luckily we didn't want breakfast. 2. I'm a makeup artist on the side so lighting is very important. The bathroom while very beautiful was very dimly lit even with all 3 lights on. I had to sit in front of the window and use natural light. 3. This is a weird one...lol. If you're sitting on the toilet with the bathroom door open fully you can't close the door. The door will literally slightly rub the edge of the toilet when you open it all the way.

This is my third time staying at this Best Western and I really enjoy it. It was very close to the cruise terminal, close to restaurants, as well as very close to south beach. The rooms are very clean and spacious. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

    « Nice Hotel »

    - The staff was friendly - The room was clean - The airport shuttle service was much better than other hotels I have visited - Microwave, refrigerator, and safe are always a plus at a hotel - Cable doesn't have many good stations - View isn't the best, but it is close to the airport - iHop, Pizza Hut, and Burger King nearby - Not close to shopping malls

« Good for overnight stay near Miami airport »

Thanks to American immigration and American Airlines, arrived shattered. Had a coffee and some nuts and went to bed. Early start in the morning meant no time for breakfast. So cannot comment on anything apart from check in, bed, the room and pick up service. Apart from the pick up service it was excellent. The drivers of the pick service could do with a customer care course. The drop of driver did not want to take us to departure 9 gate. So we just sat there till he drove a couple of hundred yards to our asked for gate. It is not a cheap hotel, but the rooms and comfort are just what you want after a tiring journey.

« Nice hotel close to airport »

The hotel lobby and guest room was very clean and comfortable. I have to point out so that we had a suite. The bed was very nice and we got a good nights sleep. The room was rather large and very spacious with a separate sitting area. Restroom was clean. The hotel offers free parking for their guests but no free breakfast as you would expect at a best western property. You can get to the airport either with the free shuttle but allow for enough time as it does not leave that frequently. Especially if you have an early morning flight to catch. By rental car you can reach the airport in about 10 minutes.

    3
    « Expensive and Noisy »

Very expensive hotel, costly late check out still locked us out of room. Maids were noisy, yelling in hallway. Food was fantastic in lobby. I'd even say WOW! Also very confusing on the multiple Best Westerns in area. Be sure to know exactly which one when you get on the shuttle at the airport. Beds were wonderful.

    « Winter 2015 »

Great hotel. Staff was very friendly with fast check in. Shuttle bus service is not the best. it sez every 30 minutes for pickup but I waited over an hour at the airport. It did seem to leave every 30 minutes from the Hotel. The cruise shuttle was great $10 straight to the port and also returning to the hotel. The room was great and we enjoyed our stay.

    « Wonderful service! »

I am so impressed by the service here: the receptionists were all incredibly helpful, responding immediately to absolutely anything I asked and being so graciously helpful. The fitness centre has a great variety of equipment that allows a great workout, which you don't normally find in hotels. The room was beautiful & I love the free coffee! Fantastic! Finally, of course, the free shuttle to / from the airport is very convenient.

« The Shuttle That Never Came »

Nice room, good restaurant, good location close to the airport. However, I arrived at the airport a little after noon on a Saturday and the shuttle to the hotel never came. I called the hotel 5 times, and they kept saying he had just been there or was on his way or was about to leave in a few minutes blah blah blah. . . . On the last call they said I should take a cab, and they'd pay for it, which they did. Meanwhile, why the incompetence and lies?

    « Ok for A Night »

Property is ok, disagree with the $10 per day parking charge for Diamond members to leave their car when fly out of town. Saw bags of trash in each stairwell landing. English NOT primary language at this hotel, so hard to understand employees. But property was comfortable....for a one night stay, on the way out of town. And beware of your room rate. Was quoted one rate, but charged a higher rate. Pointed out to lady at the desk, she said she would correct, but didn't. Having a hard time getting the quoted rate.

« Great Hotel for overnight in Miami »

This is a great hotel for an overnight stay in Miami. The staff is professional, the condition of the rooms and beds are outstanding and the transportation to and from the airport is excellent. The location of the hotel is not convenient for walking to area restaurants. We decided to eat at the hotel restaurant since we were tired from a cross country flight. The food is very good but a bit pricey. A word of caution! The waiter doesn't tell you that a 15% gratuity is included on your bill. True, the 15% gratuity is listed, but one hardly ever looks over the bill in dimly lit restaurants after a long day of travel. A professional waiter would mention to the guest that a 15% gratuity is included so that you do not over tip! We typically tip 15 to 20%, not 30 to 35% and since the bill was presented with the "TIP Area" blank, we almost over tipped. We will definitely stay here again when traveling through Miami but will most likely take a cab to an area restaurant where perceived deception to garner extra tips is not practiced.

    « Miami visit »

We stayed in this hotel before taking a cruise from the Port oef Miami. Other than the fact we were not informed that there was a cost for the breakfast buffet, the hotel was very nice. It was beautifully appointed and the beds were extremely comfortable. Pick up from the airport was speedy.

« Ok for short stay »

The best part of the hotel is it's proximity to both air and cruise ports. If you only need to stay overnight to get to either port, this is ideal. If you are looking for an extended stay, consider other hotels.

    « Very welcoming! »

The room was clean and had a lot of extras including a magnifying mirror in the bathroom. I needed a bottle opener and the front desk clerk found one for me. I was really grateful! The next morning the check out was fast and efficient.

« Great stay close to Miami Airport... »

Stayed for business for almost a week at this BW Premier property. Front desk was very friendly and efficient. Parking was for free and was upgraded to a huge room that was very well appointed, big plasma tv with many cable channels and bed was comfy together with a powerfull A/C made my stay very satisfactory. Internet connection was free and fast. Congratulations to the management.

    « Good location »

We requested the room to be facing east to avoid the noisy traffic when booked online 3 months ago but got the room facing west on the noisy side. We stayed 3 days and staff did not care less. Room was modern, spacious with two queen beds, clean, free shuttle to and from airport. The beds were comfortable but did not sleep well because of the noise generated from the air condition noise, if a/c is off, you will get the annoying street noise. East on W Flagler, there are two supermarkets including big Publix supermarket at 36th Ct and free trolley to Coral Gables, west on W Flagler, good bakery store La Rosa.

« Great deal close to the airport »

This premier hotel is about one of the best deals closer to the airport, with a pool and a very good latin fusion restaurant is just 8 minutes away from MIA. The rooms are large with seating are, microwave and fridge.

    « Convenient after a long flight »

This is our second stay at this hotel. Having flown into Miami from London the hotel is a short drive away from the airport which was ideal for an over night stay. Our first visit we drove down to the Florida Keys, this visit was to drive on to Fort Myers Beach. The décor is modern, the place is clean and the enormous bedroom was very comfortable - queen bed included. There is a restaurant open in the evening which we didn't use but we did pay for breakfast which offered cold or hot buffet breakfast foods. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. Check in and out was no problem. Plenty of car parking for us both stays, however I don't know if this is the same when the snow birds hit the area. Would definitely stay again if we flew into Miami again

« Not sure about "Premier" perhaps a "Plus" instead. »

Nothing "Premier" about it (perhaps a "Plus" instead). Overall, It was nice decent stay. Modern, quiet, convenient, and comfortable, equipped with small fridge and microwave. Cleanliness could be spruced up a notch. Heavy bathroom door swings/brushes right into toilet. Nice elephant showerhead & good water pressure. Enjoyed lots of pillows! Free Wi-Fi. Breakfast is not free ($8.99) but starts at 6:00 a.m. Parking is tight spaced. Near airport. Will stay again if in the area and if priced right.

    « Nice hotel »

Check in went smoothly. Had a nice 2 bed room on a higher floor. Did not have much interaction with staff. Hotel had a pretty restaurant with helpful kitchen staff. Unfortunately we did not get to use their beautiful pool. I would definitely stay there again.

« do not stay here after surgery »

Front desk rude, not interested in the business that the surgery center sends, no provisions for people needing extra time after surgery. Very rude and abrupt when i asked for late checkout, I would have paid rather than stay at the airport for 6 hours after surgery. They treated me like some sort of undesirable. i am a hilton gold member, although best westerns are often more convenient for travel, i find the service so laughably bad so often I just do not want to deal.

    « Friendly exoerience »

This hotel was a stop over from a cruise before flying, but the hotel staff made the stay most enjoyable. Front desk lady helped us check in early and even help us with luggage to room. Rooms were spacious and modern. There was free wifi, and a beautiful restaurant inside the hotel. We were a short distance from miracle Mile mall and airport was 10 minutes away. We decided to order in and they gave us a list of the best delivery restaurants. The Chinese we chose was amazing and delivered right to the door in jig time. The main lobby had free coffee all the time and a beautiful modern lobby.

« Good for Overnight Connections »

This hotel was clean and well appointed, and our stay was good and uneventful--which is a lot to say given some other reviews. The onsite restaurant was a great surprise--very upscale for a hotel restaurant, with luscious food. I still remember the bacon-wrapped dates on a blue cheese "cloud". Had to wait 15-20 minutes for the shuttle from the airport, but we timed the return just right--no waiting. Walked down to the IHOP for breakfast rather than pay for the hotel breakfast.

    « Airport related stay »

Missed my connection so was first given a voucher for the Clarion, read review and asked for another option. The American Airline rep recommended this property , reviews were not great but I followed her advice. Shuttle took a while, he came around to me then asked could he drop off others and come back. I was tired and ready to get to my room but as promised he returned about 15 mins later. He was very professional and had no issues. Front desk was professional as well. Room was modern, bed comfortable and everything was spotless. On site restaurant was good and breakfast outstanding. No issues with the return shuttle the next morning. Overall a pleasant stay.

« Look for other options »

We booked this hotel because we had a late flight in and an early flight out and we wanted the free shuttle service. When we arrived we called and were told that there was ?no shuttle?. After a longer discussion I was able to determine what she meant was the shuttle stops running at Midnight. So we grabbed a cab ($20) and went over to the hotel. When we got to the room, neither the desk lamp or the floor lamped worked. When I went into the bathroom, you could still see the whiskers in the sink from the previous guest. Ok, so none of this stuff is very serious, but for the price they are charging I don't think it is too much to ask for a clean fully functioning room and the free shuttle they advertise. Next time I will look for other options and suggest you do the same.

« Great location and room »

Stayed one night after long vacation of S Florida. Hotel staff very friendly and actually asked what my room preferences were...such as location of room, noise level, etc. Room was clean, nicely decorated and larger than expected. Beds very comfortable. Being near airport, we rarely heard planes. Located right on Flagler..Very easy to find.

« Good for one night. Comfortable beds, on site restaurant. »

We stayed here for one night after arriving by plane and getting ready to explore the Everglades. The hotel is outside the airport grounds and so is a short drive through city streets. There was on site parking and free Wifi which worked well (receptionist advised wifi works better on lower floors). We ate at the onsite restaurant which suited us as we arrived after 9 pm. Restaurant was very busy for late on a Thursday nigh. We found the staff friendly and efficient. We were offered a choice of upper or lower floors, and simply requested a quiet room. Our room was very quiet so we can't complain.

    « Unexpected Missed Connection/Airport-Related Stay »

I was put in hotel room by American Airlines when I missed my connecting flight to Tallahassee. I had to take a cab because the shuttle stops running midnight (not the Best Western's problem, just a communication issue with American). All things considered, I was pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel, the wifi, and a shuttle driver to take me back to the airport at 7 a.m. I don't know that I would seek it out if I needed to stay at the Miami Airport (I am partial to a different chain nearby) but this situation had a happier ending than I would have originally anticipated and I am decently satisfied.

    « Bad experience »

terrible customer service, rip off, be careful using this hotel or don't use at all. the restaurant is too expensive, they do not provide receipts, they include gratuity in the total but do not itemize it, therefore possible doubling up on the gratuity.

« Don't expect the shuttle to pick you up! »

After picking up our luggage we called for the hotel shuttle and were told the shuttle would pick us up in 15 minutes. 30 minutes later waiting in 90 degree heat we gave up and took a cab. Upon arrival at the hotel I complained to the desk clerk and asked for the manager. There was no manager on duty. I asked for compensation for the cab fare and was told that would not happenand and no apology at all. The next morning at check out I spoke to another desk clerk and she asked for the cab receipt. I had not kept it because of the answer from the first person I spoke to. This clerk asked for my email address so that the manager could contact me. Here we are 10 days later no contact from the hotel.

    « staff uncaring »

We wer 20 women with five rooms. We were not told about additional fees before we arrived. Staff acted like we should know all these things, but our email confirmation was not specific. the hotel juste dwanted someones name so they could put blame. that was not what we wanted we wanted better service. hotel is in a very poor area as well. We chose it because we could get transfers from the airport and to the cruise port.
