« Excellent value 4 star hotel close to Venice »

The Hotel is located is Mestre where is about 30minues bus ride to Venice Proper. We stayed 4 nights as a base visiting Venice. Bus and Water taxi pass can be purchased from the front desks 40 euros for 3 days. Hotel front desks are friendly, courteous and room is in excellent conditions for the price paid. Good breakfast for 4 euros a day is a bargain. Airport pickup and drop off need to be communicated 24 hrs beforehand or email and pickups are always on time at 6 euros per person. There is big shopping mall where McDonald Restaurant is located (20 minutes walking) have many eating places.

    « Clean and modern »

Loved this hotel. Stayed on three occasions in September. Rooms are spacious. beds very comfortable. Only problem is shower. It is impossible to shower without flooding floor of bathroom. Lovely buffet breakfast with courtyard if you prefer outdoor seating. Shuttle is well priced too/from airport. Its not on island but not too difficult to get there and saves lugging your luggage over bridges, canals if only in Venice for a couple of days.

« Excellent 4-star property, 30 mins away from Venice mainland »

Considering the steep prices of hotels in Venice, we decided to stay in Mestre which is about 30 minutes away from the mainland of Venice and had reasonably priced hotels. I chose this hotel as it had a good number of positive reviews and contemporary interiors for which I have a personal liking. The staff was courteous and helpful. The receptionists gave us a city map and patiently explained to us the route to reach Venice mainland via bus and tram. All in all, the service was worth the price paid. The hotel also offers a paid shuttle service from/to the airport. I would like to come and stay again at Quid if I visit Venice again in future.

    « Excellent Hotel! »

We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful newer hotel for a few nights before flying out of Marco Polo Airport. From the moment we went to check in, to the very comfortable, clean room we were made to feel welcome and at home. The customer service is second to none, you get the feeling that the employees genuinely enjoy serving you. From the housekeeping staff to the breakfast staff and the wonderful ladies at reception, they all had smiles and were more than happy to help their customers. We also enjoyed Movers, the reataurant. The food was delicious. Special thanks to our waiter Mattia, who made sure we were well taken care of. I highly recommend a stay here!

« Very good both for business and for free time »

I have spent 5 days in this hotel at the beginning of October during a business trip. My room (7th floor) was tidy and clean with a big desktop where it is possible to work (no troubles with wifi or internet connection). The bathroom was a bit small but with a big shower. No snacks in the mini-bar. Nicely furnished room. I enjoyed both the breakfast (italian and continental) and the restaurant inside the hotel. The hotel is at 10-15 minutes from the airport and 30 min from Venice parkings if you want to spend some time between the canals.

« Modern, clean with excellent breakfast, but far from Venice »

Make sure you call at least 24 hours in advance to book the free shuttle otherwise it will cost 50 euros to get there as it is NOT near the airport! (Name is deceiving). Also, it is far from Venice as you have to take a bus and a tram to get there which took me an hour and a half. Coming back at night you have to walk from the bus stop through a deserted commercial area, so make sure you are not alone!

    « Short but Great »

Stayed at the BW Plus Quid Hotel Venice Airport for 1 night as part of a group tour. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was decent with the usual European spread Staff were friendly and are particularly helpful. There is a pizzeria within walking distance from the hotel in case one is not interested in dining at the hotel. Overall, was very satisfied with my stay at BW Plus Quid, and might consider returning to the hotel if I were to visit Venice again

« Hotel stuck in the middle of nowhere »

Stayed here 3 nights after a tour of Croatia. Hotel is very disappointing. I can understand why people choose to stay here as it is relatively inexpensive compared to hotels in the heart of Venice. However, the hotel is in the middle of a semi-industrial area, and it takes a good 30 to 45 minutes by public transport to get to Venice proper. There is an excellent shopping centre about 10 minutes away by foot. Check out the supermarket and the locals going about their business. The rooms are very roomy and quiet. Breakfast buffet was not up to standard, very limited choices, hot food was cold and I was shocked at how badly the bacon was cooked, something the Italians usually do well. Dinner and drinks in the restaurant were very well priced and the pasta I had was cooked well. However, the dining room is not open for lunch, nor can one get a drink until the restaurant opens at night. Some of the reception staff were on the unfriendly side, but overall most of the staff were approachable and helpful.

« Good place to stay »

Rooms are a nice size. Bathrooms are modern and large with good showers. Rooms are clean. Beds are quite confortable. Tv had English Chanel's for a change. Parking was available and free. Breakfast was very good as well. We will definetly return again.

    « Great Stay »

Convenient to the Venice (VCE) Airport, with shuttle service, this modern hotel is a good base for sight seeing. Local bus / tram connections to Venice - Piazzale Roma €3.RT! Excellent bar/restaurant on-site. We really enjoyed our stay!

« very poor service and very unhelpful staff »

there are no glasses in the room, we called reception they said call bar, bar said if he has to sent empty glasses to room he will charge 5 Euros, also he said if i need glasses have to go down, only one small bottle of water for two people in the room, if one person stays he gets the same bottle, so it should be atleast two bottles if two people are staying.

« Solid hotel for access to venice »

Good price and rooms were clean and smart. Parking is free which was useful for our visit. There's a bus into Venice just nearby. We drove and parked at Marco Polo airport which was about 15 mins then took a water taxi into Venice. Breakfast was ok , for 4€ , can't complain too much. Rooms were a bit warm as aircon is a bit inadequate. Staff were helpful

    5
    « Very nice stay »

Chose this hotel due it's location near to the airport as well as Venice for the last 3 nights of my holiday. Stayed with 3 young children and had interconnecting rooms which was great. Rooms were very nice and cleaned daily. Very close to a mall which was a short 5 minute drive away which has a few food options and a supermarket where you can get reasonably priced precooked full chickens and potatoes to appease my English taste buds! Great to be able to park underground and get into the lift straight to your floor. Didn't manage to try the breakfast as we ate cereal in the room which is logistically easier with 3 kids, but it seemed to be fairly priced at 4 euro. Drove to Jesolo beach which the kids loved and was about 40 minutes drive away. We found getting into the Venice very easy using the train station at the rear of the mall which is Venezia Mestre Ospedale station. You can park your car at the mall or near the station if there's space and it's just a couple of stops to Venice, 18 minutes journey in total into Santa Lucia station on a great clean double decker train. Cost 10 euros return for my family and for me is a lot better option than using the buses. The staff were friendly enough and spoke English. The hotel caters for a lot of different kinds of guests and is probably more business orientated than family however we had a great stay and I would definitely stay again.

    « Great hotel. »

We stayed at the hotel overnight. I cannot fault the hotel and the services they provide to travellers. The only downfall is its location situated in a semi-industrial area and far from city centre. Taxi's are pricey we paid 40 euro from the airport to hotel but on our return another taxi asked for 35 euro. Hotel and the staff were wonderful.

    5
    « Ready nice »

Good hotel, good location (direct Busses to Venice in the morning (ever 30 minutes between 7.17-9.17 am) and Tram +Bus in the evening) description and map of Venice and Mestre in written form explained by staff. Massimo (staff member) was really friendly and gave us lots of information ? big rooms, modern, german Tv, free minibar with water, free parking (also parking garage) and an absolute good breakfast buffet for 4€! Nothing to complain, we would definively recommend the hotel and would book it again!

« Great hotel near Venice »

Make sure to arrive before 9 PM at the airport in order to get the shuttle service, instead of getting overcharged by a taxi. I was pleasantly surprised how clean and plush the hotel is. Breakfast is very good value. Some of the staff are very friendly and professional, however the guy at reception was a bit too brash. Although it´s a bit far from the centre of Venice, the hotel is linked very well by bus and tram, which will allow you to get to Central Venice in 30 min. (buy the bus and tram tickets at reception) Try to explore Mestre, as it has an authentic vibe of italian life (few tourists). Avoid going to Murano (tourist trap) and explore Burano and the other islands instead.

« Not so close to Airport.. but good to stay at. »

We arrived at Venice and had hotel shuttle booked for 6 Euro each. Hotel is several km from the airport to Mestre. It is in the middle of commercial area off main freeway near car service centre. It is located near main bus route but not that easy to use so walked down road to main intersection and caught No2 bus to Venice from there. When returning have to get off and walk rest of way. There was another H2 bus going past but not sure how it worked?? The hotel is modern and very clean, WIFI works well as does AC. Some staff could do with happy pill at times but overall do their job. The breakfast is excellent is quality and value with a very good variety of food and good coffee (machine).

    « Excellent Hotel »

?We Stayed for 4 nights. The hotel was very clean The room was cleaned daily to a very good standard. The staff were very kind and friendly.Breakfast can be added for €4 per person. The breakfast was excellent. You could find everything you wish. For traveling to Venice, there was one small problem. We had to take bus to go to either city center or main train station to be able to take another tram or bus to Venice. The buses from hotel were not very frequent (every half an hour) and very rare at night, two times when we came back very late from Venice we took taxi to the hotel (15 Euro), but I think it is worth, because it is not possible to find a hotel with this quality in Venice. In addition, 10 min walk from the hotel there is a big shopping mall including a massive supermarket. There is also shuttle to the airport for 6 euro.

    « Excellent Hotel »

Stayed for two nights staff were very helpful with maps and bus tickets into Venice. Very clean and comfortable hotel and a great choice of breakfast. Thoroughly recommend this hotel for a few nights or more.

« Excellent hotel for trip to Venice »

We rebooked last minute to this hotel with 7 people (3 rooms) and were pleasantly surprised how easy it was to get to Venice. I took up to 20 minutes to get there either by bus or by bus and tram. Tickets were available at the reception desk (3 euro per person to Venice and back). Rooms were big, clean and breakfast was great. I stayed in Venice last year so can compare the stay in Venice or Mestre...true the experience is different but the price too. Mestre is a great alternative if you don't want to pay Venice prices. Staff was also very friendly although it was very busy when we arrived.

« As good as a best western can be »

Stayed here for two nights. The services were good, a great breakfast on each morning before we set off for the day. The room was clean and comfortable with a shower that worked a treat. Good nights sleep as no night noise.

    « Excellent hotel »

Excellent hotel: very clean. The staff were very kind and friendly. Very good spoken English of the staff which was very helpful. Room was cleaned daily to a very good standard. Very clean and modern hotel. Would highly recommend. Breakfast can be added for €4 per person. Travel to venice: very convenient, easy and cheap to reach main venice for €3 return ticket from hotel. This took us by suprise at how easy it really was. Well worth it if this hotel is working out cheaper than staying in the heart of Venice. We felt it was quite nice to come back to a quiet location after a long busy day in venice to unwind. Some areas became really smelly in the heart of Venice around the canals and at times the smell was strong and disgusting. Shopping: Not much directly outside the hotel although there is a nice shopping mall around 10 mins walk away called porte di mestre. Worth a visit as they have good bargain and sales on clothes. They also have a few places inside the mall to eat as well as a massive supermarket.

« Good hotel for short stay »

Best Western Venice is a good hotel to visit Venice for a short stay. Only downside (according to my wife) is you don't get the feel of being in Venice staying here as the hotel overlooks car dealerships and not the romantic canals. But at the end of the day the price, free parking on site, and quiet location (away from Venice) won us both over. For the hotel itself reception was very helpful, room good size, clean and modern. Bathroom is big with walk in shower. Breakfast not bad for 4 Euro. Free Wifi was excellent. Bus and tram ride from hotel into Venice was a little confusing at first but we figured it out.

« Short stay before cruise »

Our family of 4 adults & 2 children have booked for 1 night stay before our cruise holiday from Venice. We do not have high expectations but are presently surprised. The hotel offers transfer from Venice airport at 6 euros per person (child of 1 year old pays the same as an adult). The hotel rooms are spacious and clean. Staff very helpful in arranging our transfer from hotel to cruise ship terminal at a good price. I was particularly impressed with their restaurant that served excellent Italian cuisine at reasonable price. Their breakfast is good too. The only drawback of the hotel is lack of any attractions in the surrounding area - walking to the nearest shopping mall is at least 20 minutes! It is just good for a stay of a day or two.

    5
    « Excellent stau »

Stayed overnight before going on a cruise. Reception so helpful - they had very clear details to help us get to Venice Island - it was so easy to do too and all at the cost of only three euro return. Hotel clean, lovely rooms, great staff. We added breakfast at the cost of only 4 euro and it was well worth it. Would stay again.

« Three night stay for a family of three. »

Great breakfast for just 4 euro a person. Rooms are clean, wifi works most of the time. Great location to catch the bus to the tram in order to reach Venice. Tickets for that were 3 euro a person. My only complaint is that the room service disregarded my "do not disturb" sign on the door for both days I had it hanging on the door. I guess, in a sense, I am complaining about fresh sheets and towels. The staff have been very nice and helpful with any questions I have had.

« 5 days stay at Best Western Plus »

This is an excellent hotel, rooms are clean and very modern. Breakfast was available at the cost of 4 euro per person. The only drawback is its location, especially for one that intends to visit Venice Santa Lucia. From here, you can take the bus to Mestre downtown and the tram from there to Santa Lucia. The tram comes every 10 minutes or so but bus schedule is very bad. From 8:15 pm to 10:05 pm there is no bus so if you happen to miss the 8:15 bus you will have to walk to the hotel, about 30 to 40 minutes. That happened to us twice and after one day of walking in Venice the last thing you want to do is more walking to the hotel. The crew at the hotel was again excellent, helping me book on the phone a tour at the Doge's Palace and promptly responding to our needs, for instance one extra bed was brought to the room upon request.

    « Very good hotel »

Choose this hotel if you are traveling to Marco polo AirPort venice and want to go to venice - very good service - the hotel are Nice and clean - good aircondition and the Price is ok for what you Got - free wi-fi and only 3 euro for a trip to venice and back - bustransfer to the AirPort - 6 euro

    « OK FOR A SHORT STAY »

Apart from a receptionist who had locked the door at midnight, and who then fell asleep, leaving my girlfriend locked out side and banging the window for 20 minutes to get back in (she did call me too, but I think I was allowed to sleep as I wasn't working!!) the remaining staff were very helpful and polite. Best Western is situated about 10km away from Venice, you can buy tickets from the reception for the public buses, and the bus-stop is just outside on the left (DON'T FORGET TO PRESS TICKET AGAINST THE DIGITAL SCREEN IN THE BUS TO VALIDATE IT). The rooms were sufficient enough, cleaned every day,and the shower is great. I would recommend it to people who are staying outside of Venice, even after the little mishap of locking the doors!!

« Best Plus ..not only in the name.. in Service too »

We stayed one day in this best hotel. The "Best Plus" is not only in the name. Each and every places like rooms, dining, reception, hall and services like WIFI, cleanliness everything it reflects. The breakfast consists of many fruits, Juices highly suitable for vegetarian also. Enjoyed with pleasure during the stay and the opportunity for stay, if comes once again, it will be the golden chance for us.

    « Best Rooms »

This place was great to stay at as the rooms are quite spacious and you have everything you ever need. My fiance and I stayed here for a few nights as part of our Europe tour and we enjoyed it quite a lot as it is relatively close to 'Mestre' the main land of Venice. However the only downside was there was no shower door so the floor was always wet

« Another great stay this time with family »

This my second time staying at the Best Western Quid. Previously I was on my own and had a single room. This time we took the double room option for our family and everything was perfect. After flying 15 hours from Bali it was nice to go to the mall door for fresh fruits and vegetables and things that we forgot. It close proximity to Venice which makes for an easy venture into the city without paying the outrageous prices of Venice hotels.

« Nice comfortable hotel. Helpful & friendly staff. »

Best Western Plus Quid Hotel Venice Airport is a nice clean, modern hotel in a quiet area. It took us about 15-20 minutes and about €40.00 taxi fare to get there from the airport. Decent sized room. Beds were comfortable. Clean bathroom with all the up to date amenities. Wifi was working great. The bus stop to Venice was within walking distance. There was a mall about 15 minutes walk from the hotel. (However the direction was a little confusing. We asked several different people; they all pointed to a different direction). Our luggage was being delayed during transit. Luckily there was a big supermarket inside the mall so we could buy all the necessities. There was also a food court where we could grab a quick bite before rushing off by taxi to Venice. (Since we spent quite some time dealing with our lost luggage at the airport, we were left with very limited time to explore Venice). Just for info, the pizza in the food court was pretty good and reasonable priced. Taxi fare cost €40.00 from hotel to Venice. The buffet breakfast was adequate. The patio was a comfortable place to have breakfast with cool breeze and sunshine in the morning. All the staff from the front desk to breakfast room was super friendly and helpful. Making us feel welcome and comfortable.

    « A Modern Escape in Mestre »

When I looked for a hotel in Venice upon my return from a cruise, I wanted one close to the airport but stylish. I found one. The Best Western Plus Quid Hotel served the purpose by offering great customer service and modern, comfortable facilities. For example, a bathrobe and slippers await you. Also, complimentary snacks and drinks (Coke, water, fruit juice) await you in the refrigerator provided. Along with a comfortable bed, the best shower I've ever experienced awaited us. While there are satellite channels in Italian, push the English subtitles, if necessary. Also, there's a mall with a supermarket nearby (walking distance), if you choose to watch your food budget. We enjoyed our stay and, if we're ever in the area again, another stay will be granted. Recommended!

    5
« Good hotel but not near airport »

Clean hotel with lovely rooms of good size. Great staff on reception. Breakfast plentiful. Certainly not near airport - taxi fare was 50 euros, but hotel offers shuttle service for 6 euros per person. Bus journey to Venice was 30-45 mins.

    4
« Clean and tidy with great restaurant »

I stayed at this hotel a couple of night during a 3 week tour of Europe. The rooms are clean and good size for a few nights stay. The breakfast is very varied and the restaurant and bar is very nice. They also provide an airport shuttle for €6 which is great as a taxi will cost you €40. It is very easy to get into Venice island with a €3 return bus/tram ticket you buy at reception. I would recommend this place to stay in Venice.

« modern hotel in a quaint area. »

Beautiful hotel, Helpful reception(Masimo and his friend were very helpful,,especially masimo was good in giving directions in detail and more)....beautiful area,,,BIG supermarket "AUCHAN" 10 minutes walking time(will take 3-4 hours to cover the whole mall,,also stock up on ur alcohol and food.which is integral part of a vacation,,besides connectivity and location of ur hotel) At the mall check out ALICE pizzas which are very good and v.very comfortable rooms n cosy..as usual the shower spilles over and makes the bathroom floor wet,,good hotel to stay with good connecivity to venice via tram n bus. 20 MIN away.

    « Convenient »

The Quid hotel is a modern comfortable hotel ideal for travellers looking for a quiet hotel - free wifi - a restaurant and bar with easy access by bus to central Venice ( €6 round trip ) - staff are friendly and informative and the beds are comfortable

    5
« Stay here please nor Venice itself »

Stay here, relax in quiet area, catch easy and quick bus + tram into Venice, save hundreds of pounds, stay longer etc etc. It all makes sense. Breakfast great at 4 euros pp. Staff know how to treat tourists as well as businesspersons, rooms lovely and quiet and we'll air conditioned.Nearby there is an eating place as well as the hotel's restaurant. Parking free and easy. Ask hotel for sat navigation number before you drive there to make things easier. We could not think of anything to critisise about this hotel! Would have no hesitation about returning. Venice is beautiful, unique and should be on everyone's list of must see places and, if you want to pay 3 times the BW rate, then do stay near the Grand Canal or on the Lido etc etc. But if you want to treat yourself to an 80 euro gondoliers ride for 30 minutes then stay at the BW because you'll be spending plenty in Venice itself. Just have 3 days at the BW, spend heavily in Venice and return to an oasis of calm. That's far better than spending loads on a Venice hotel and depriving yourself of a snack in St Marks square where you can watch the multicultural world go by!

« Overnight stay before our cruise out of venice »

We arrived in venice via train and realized that Maestr station was the closest, so we got off there. We then took the bus to the hotel as described in the hotel details on how to get to the hotel. Unfortunately the hotel does not tell you when to get off the bus. it tells you which direction to go, but doesn't say which stop to get off. We tried to figure it out and realized one stop had the same street name, so we assumed we would get off there. the bus system in Venice is very different. Each stop listed does not indicate there is only one stop. there are multiple stops with the same name and you have to know which one to get off. We picked the wrong one since we weren't aware of this strange bus system. this left us walking for about an hour to the hotel which was EXTREMLY frustrating considering I had done the research to get the bus directions. You can imagine I was pissed when I got to the hotel, but to my surprise the hotel was beautiful and the staff was awesome. The room was great and the breakfast had a lot of options. The hotel also sell bus/tram/people mover tickets to get you to venice and also to the cruise port. Our stay was only one night but it was wonderful. The only change I would suggest is that the hotel give more specific directions on how to take the bus to their location

« Good place to say »

This hotel is part of the tour we are on, it is clean, very comfortable, and handy to the airport. It has a restaurant which is reasonably priced, room service is also available at €5 per person extra It is a €30-35 taxi trip into Venice, taxi service is available from the bus terminus at Venice

    5
    « Lovely 3 day break »

Hotel was great.10 mins from airport and 30 from venice. Rooms modern and spacious. Breakfast was plentiful with good range. Bar was relaxed. Staff helpful and friendly. Venice is beautiful - loved it

« Good value, good location, moldy bathroom »

This hotel in Mestre offers a good value compared to hotels within Venice. A bus/tram connection brings you to Piazzale Roma in 20-30 minutes (depending on the connection). Unfortunately, the bus runs every 30 minutes only, hence you need to plan your travel. The check in process was swift. We came around 5pm and our room was ready. The bed was clean but the bathroom was moldy, especially the sealants. Our family room was small for 2 adults and 2 kids. Breakfast was okay but getting boring after a few days. Tips: order your coffee/espresso/cappuccino from the waitress. It is much better compared to the coffee from the machine. If you arrive with car, the hotel offers free parking. Just a few block away, there is shopping mall for groceries (e.g. Auchan), clothing, food, etc. Overall, this is a good option to stay when you visit Venice.

    5
« Overnight stay before our Trip home »

The room was modern and spacious, the amenities were adequate and the shuttle service to the airport was reasonable. Overall the hotel was perfect for an overnight pre-flight stay as it was only 15 minutes to the airport. For an extended stay it is fairly isolated.

    5
« Overnight stay was excellent. »

Stopped overnight before my bike tour of the Dolomites. Staff were all brilliant. Very good room, well appointed. Breakfast was your typical hotel fare but with an Italian cheese selection as well. Check in, check out was a breeze. Do yourself a favour. Highly recommend.

« Conveniently located by the airport »

After spending some days in Venice with a hotel along the canals- we knew a much needed rest from the hustle and bustle was needed. We took a cruise out of the Venice port and after returning checked into the Quid hotel a little further out and closer to the airport. Flight the next morning would be departing at 7 AM so finding a water taxi and all the walking that early seemed a little inconvenient if we'd stay by the grand canal. Upon checking in that Friday morning, we took a bus to Venice to further explore (bus stop was like a 3 minute walk to the main road and 20 minutes from Venice) We also arranged for airport shuttle in the morning that would take us to the airport at 5 AM (10-15 minute ride) Overall, it was super convenient. Nice rooms- all renovated and free wifi. A few issues noted- bathroom floods a little when showering. Not a huge deal since I usually put a smaller towel down anyway to soak it up, but there's no way around it. My second gripe was the air- conditioning. The thermostat in the room would not work and it was hot. I tried calling the front desk but there was absolutely no way to communicate- and nothing indicating how to do so on the phone. I was already in pajamas and did not want to make my way all the way downstairs so I just opened the windows which helped but then again did not shelter us from the noise. The next day I brought it up to the front desk staff who told me the windows were open which is why the AC wouldn't work. My room key was plugged in and my windows were closed before I decided to open them because it was so hot but whatever. It was a great option nonetheless to stay there since it all turned out to be so convenient.

« Once you find it, its great! »

Google maps told me to turn right on Via Terraglio, coming off the motorway. Should have been left. I should have paid attention to the sign on the lampost! Very nice, clean and comfortable hotel. Bus stop to Venice mestre is 3 minutes walking. Wi-Fi Throughout the hotel. Great choice at the breakfast buffet, with at least 3 excellent coffee machines.

We stayed at this Hotel Twice ( Two Couples) in September and October, The rooms are very large, the staff are very helpful, all the Amenities are very good, Close to the Airport, shuttle bus is available,5 minute walk to the buses, breakfast and Food is very good. 10 minutes walk to a Fantastic Large Shopping Center, Fashion Designer Clothes,Good restaurants and takeaway, one of the best and largest Supermarkets, better shopping than Venice, The Hotel is situated in quite area. We would stay there again, when traveling to Venice

    « Great hotel »

The rooms are very well appropriated with great beds and plenty of space. It was very clean. The staff is the best. They gave us excellent direction for taking public transportation to get to all our sites. They also have a great breakfast in the morning. They have more than just a continental breakfast.

    « Close to VCE & a bus + tram to Venice »

Close to VCE and easy enough to get into Venice. The rooms and clean and modern, everything you need. Shuttle to the airport was less than 10 minutes. There's not all that much to eat within walking distance but if you spend the day in Venice you've probably filled up there

    « Valentine's »

We stayed here for 3 nights for Valentine's Day weekend. Hotel was close to the airport but along a busy motorway. Wasn't much on offer in the area however there is a bus top that takes you into town, with a pretty straight forward route into Venice (hotel reception sells bus tickets and provide a map which was really helpful). We had b&b board and was pleased with the breakfast Buffett. The one day we planned to eat in the hotel restaurant didn't go to plan as the kitchen was closed. They did however have a free buffet that we could help ourselves to. All an all a pleasant stay but not the best location if you plan to spend most of your time in Venice.

« Front desk staff very helpful.A bus into City is just a 5 minute walk away. »

Our travel agent set us up here and we had a great stay. A hotel employee picked us up at the airport and drove us to the hotel. Very nice clean and a short walk to a grocery store and bus stop. i would stay here again.

« Pleasent experience in Venice »

The hotel is conveniently located in Mestre and is easy to get to by car from Treviso Airport. There is free onsite parking. The internet in the rooms is very good. Although, not a perfect location to visit Venice because of the bus service, it is not difficult. The rooms are good and clean. The breakfast is same everyday and is fairly adequate.

    « Good cook »

Very convenient hotel for a Venice trip. Reasonable price, free parking, helpful staff. The breakfast was also good, with a generous cookies selection. Tasteless omelette tough, also coffee did not impress me in any way, altough at first glance there seemed to be plenty of options to chose for. What I found outstanding, however, was the dinner menu. The cook really knows his business, we had a portion of deep fried fresh seafood with vegetables tempura, pasta with shrimps and one portion with ragu for the child - all delicious. I never order deep fried seafood, as usually it tastes of no seafood at all, but this time I really regretted not having done it. I tasted from my husband's dish and it was the most tender and tasty deep fried seafood I have ever eaten. The freshness of the ingredients was really there, from the fish to the cooking oil. Really great! The tiramisu at the dessert was served in a cappucino cup and was also good. I would recommend eating dinner there, it is really worth every penny - for us it was around 90 eur for 2 adults + 1 child (kids menu is also available), one wine bottle included.

« Very Care Taking Experience »

I want to thank the many excellent staff persons at the Quid Hotel who helped us during a medical emergency. They are: Massimo, Ahmed, Martina, Irene, Mauro, and Adriano. If I missed anyone, my apologies. My husband broke his ankle on the flight to Venice. He had to have emergency surgery. My Venetian friend booked me into the Best Western Quid hotel because it was near the Mestre hospital. The staff at the hotel were fantastic. I explained my situation and they helped me get my luggage from left luggage at the airport, a wheelchair from a local medical supply company, and moved us to a handicap accessible room when my husband was discharged from the hospital with a very large, heavy cast on his leg. Both rooms were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was outstanding. I just cannot say enough positive things about the staff. At a time when my husband and I were feeling overwhelmed and confused, the staff helped us sort through many difficult situations. I highly recommend this hotel for individuals who want to stay in the Mestre area.

« Handy location, clean and tidy with parking »

We stayed at the hotel in March 2016 after arriving from a cruise. We received a friendly greeting and was given a brilliant room on the ninth floor. The hotel is situated on an industrial park but it is nice and quiet. There is a bus stop right outside which takes you into Venice and only takes about 20 minutes. The restaurant menu looked expensive so we found a great place just behind the hotel selling chicken and burgers.

« Very good hotel for the money. »

This is my second stay at this hotel. I chose it for my 2-day stop at Venice for the reason that it's away from the crowds and it's a modern, clean hotel. I'm not a fan of the old-school hotels in Venice. We were greeted at the desk by very kind receptionist. Room was given to us quickly. It was clean and nice, not very luxurious, but minimalist designed and spacious. My only complain is that the elevators are quite noisy, so it's better to choose a room away from them. The breakfast was surprisingly good, containing the most important meals with a very good quality. There is free parking in front of the hotel. Whenever I'm going back near Venice, this will always be my first hotel to consider.

    « A good modern hotel »

Stayed two nights. Good hotel with well furnished rooms, small but functional bathrooms. Comfy beds. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast buffet. Free wifi with good speed. Location is on suburbs but have good shopping areas nearby. Direct bus links to venice city in 30 min else bus/tram link to venice city.

    « Excellent hotel »

Stayed for two nights after a cruise so we could visit venice. Excellent room and the receptionist were very helpful. Breakfast was included and was continental style. Free wifi and checkout at 12. We paid a further 30 euro to keep the room til 6pm as we had a late flight. To get there take the T1 tram towards favuro and get off at mestre central, then get 8E bus towards prezogli. Quid Hotel can be seen on the left get off at the stop opposite the car showrooms after going under a bridge. Takes in total about 45 min from Venice pizzale roma. Bus/tram station

« Modern affordable hotel - good location for a visit to Venice »

We stayed 2 nights at the Best Western Plus Quid Hotel Venice Airport - prior and after our cruise to the Greek Isles. The hotel is outside Venice but well connected by bus - there is a bus stop outside the hotel that takes you to Venice in about 25 minutes for 3 Euros return. We even took the bus with our luggage as it arrives very close to the cruise terminal in Venice. The rate of the hotel is half of what you would pay in Venice, also there is a shuttle that can pick you up from the airport at a nominal fee (you can reserve the day before your flight by emailing the hotel). There is a HUGE shopping center 10 minutes from the hotel, where you can find restaurants, groceries and plenty of stores.. The hotel itself is clean, modern and comfortable. The rooms are a lot larger than standard rooms in the city. Overall, it is a good option for someone who wants a good accommodation, and does not want to pay the steep price of Venice hotels.

    « Overnight stopover »

Arrived late into Venice Marco Polo Airport and picked this hotel as a stopover before heading up to the Dolomites to ski. Really good hotel. Rooms spacious, modern, very clean with an excellent shower room. The whole hotel looks recently refurbished with high quality furnishings both in the bedroom and lobby. Staff were both efficient and friendly. The breakfast offered a wide and excellent choice. Would definitely recommend and would stay again in this hotel if in the area.

    « Super »

The hotel is located in the outskirts of Venice, but it is well connected with public transport. For 3 euros you can buy a return ticket and travel to the heart of Venice takes 30 minutes (bus and tram) has free parking, the staff is friendly and the food is good and varied. The hotel rooms are modern and new and very pleasant and have all. hotel price for 2 persons in February amounted to 68 euros inclusive of tax. A good choice for those who come by car and a beautiful home after a long walk Venice. A much better choice than in Venice, because you have no where to park the car and parking costs about 35 euros and then still have to drag suitcases through the streets of Venice where you'll pay too expensive old damp hotel.

« Great property with free WIFI & Free parking »

Very modern hotel that offers free parking & free WiFi, staff at the front desk helpful & polite, they even helped us by selling us public transportation tickets to Venice for only 3 Euro per person The rooms are large & modern however the bathroom getting wet while taking shower due to wrong decoration

« Feels just like home »

Been staying at this hotel a couple of times for work and I have to say that it feels just like home. The attention at the reception is great as well as the rooms and all the services. Maybe missing some healthier options for breakfast but it's not too relevant. The offer a lovely buffet at the bar so you can relax with a tasty spritz while eating something. By the way I would like to highlight the service from Luca at the bar who has always treated us perfectly anytime we go there.

    « Met all expectations »

We spent one night here in Dec 2014. Room: The room was clean and comfortable, but not very spacious. And with rather scary paintings on the walls. Location: The hotel is located in business zone of Mestre ? nothing interesting around. The best way to get to Venice is a taxi. Breakfast: The breakfast was rather good but lacked the variety. Parking: The hotel offers free underground parking! Check-in / Check-out: We didn't experience any problems here. Internet: It was free and fast. Overall: This hotel is a very good option to stay in Mestre for business or for visiting Venice (if you can afford a taxi). It is also a perfect place to stay if you are travelling by car.

« Best Western Quid in Mestre, Italy »

The Best Western Quid is in a good location if traveling by car in Italy. The bus schedule has changed recently so that you must take either two buses or one bus and the tram into Piazza Roma. The hotel is clean and provides a complimentary breakfast, which is good. If staying for just one night and need to go to the airport or cruise terminal this is a fair choice since the hotel is located in a commerce area (few eateries near the hotel).

« Modern, quiet and great value for money. »

This hotel, 15 minutes in a taxi or by shuttle from Venice (Marco Polo) Airport is a real find. Modern, quiet, and breakfast is included. It's a decent breakfast too with everything you'd want. The room had both tea / coffee making and a Nespresso maker! Very helpful staff. The hotel has their own airport shuttle van.

« 20 min taxi from airport. Bus, tram, water taxi to st marks sq about 1half hrs! »

This is not an easy or convenient hotel to stay in if visiting central venice ! We stayed as an excellent pre cruise deal with iglu! Hotel is modern business type on an industrial estate. Room was boiling hot! Awful. But immaculate, soft towels and bedding ! Shower was doorless so water spilled out everywhere. Nice nespresso machine. Typical italian breakfast, really good. Nice cappucino to order but machine ones were ok too. To get to st marks square the very helpful reception will sell bus/tram tickets. Very cheap few euros ea. Bus is 5 min walk. Then 20 min on bus, change at mestre centro 2min walk, to a tram which is about 30min. Then purchase water taxi tkts from office of newspaper booth €7.50 ea one way. Which is 2min from tram. This takes about 40 mins due to numerous stops! We missed our bascilica and doges meet time but a quick phone call and they rearranged time. Great trip ! We ate in hotel restaurant very nice, very small portions. Wine 25 eu house red. Lovely food esp tiramisu! 90euros for 2 a light dinner! Would prefer to stay in centre though

« Modern business hotel with comfortable accomodation »

Quid Hotel Venice Airport is very modern and comfortable business hotel. Everything you would expect is in place - very freindly staff, clean rooms, nice flat screen TV, delicious breakfast, and enjoying an Apero Spritz cocktail pre-dinner with bar snacks are a must. The only negative is less about the hotel, and just the location if you intending to be a tourist in Venice. It takes about 90 minutes to catch the bus and tram to get to the city centre. Secondly, there are not many restaurants in the vecinity of the hotel. Avoid the Galloway restaurant behind the hotel. The hotel has no gym, but you can use the Virgin fitness centre nearby at a reduced entrance fee.

« Excellent accommodation at a reasonable price. Will stay again. »

Having stayed here before on business, I thought this time I would treat my wife to a few days in Venice, staying at the Quid Hotel. It was just as good as I remembered and well placed for visiting the tourist areas. Reception speak excellent English and were very polite and welcoming. The booking in process was quick and easy and our quiet room on the 7th floor was spacious and immaculately clean. The FREE Wifi worked well, air con was good and parking is free just outside the hotel. Breakfast is not quite up to the standard of the rest of the place with what appears a chaotic level of service. When tables needed clearing, all the staff were putting out more food. When food needed putting out, all the staff were clearing tables! There didn't seem to be any organisation of staff at all, with them all doing their "own thing". Also, the noise levels in the canteen style breakfast area can get quite loud, not really a calm pleasant eating experience at all. However, when the food was available, it was of reasonable quality and with plenty of choice, so not a total disaster and certainly not something to put you off staying here. The restaurant in the evening was quite empty, and a look at the choices and prices were most probably the reason, although the ambience looked pleasant enough. There is a cheap option restaurant nearby, where you can get "fast food" as in chicken & chips or pizza if you are on a budget. Big portions and cheap, but not for the person looking for a gourmet extravaganza. Lastly, beware if you have a Best Western rewards card. If you book this hotel through Booking.com, etc then you will NOT get the full Best Western Rewards points. Not a lot of people know that. All in all, we would definitely stay here again especially if you can get a good price.

Stayed here on our last visit to Venice, hotel and all of its facilities are excellent, modern and spotless. It is quiet a bit to Mestre, but there is a very good bus service which passes every 15 mins or so.behind the hotel is a great american style restaurant with wide variety of foods to suit all tastes and prices to suit all purses. massive shopping mall walking distance away with all the usual stores and eating centers.

The best western quid hotel delighted us in every way possible.. The staff was amazing. The breakfast was great with a lot of variety.. The restaurant was expensive though but the staff was very helpful in telling us about the near by pizzeria.. We ate at Galloway a cool hip place nearby.. The room..the bathroom and the complimentary snacks in the room.. All left us smiling.. Will recommend this hotel to all if you do not mind a short ride on the bus to Venice :)

    « Top marks »

Well priced and convenient for Venice by public transport (plenty of parking at hotel) with clear instructions for travel given by friendly and remarkably helpful reception staff. Room spacious, beds comfortable, bathroom splendid, Internet connection good, only downside was the room was rather too warm (winter and air conditioning switched off). Breakfast included in the price excellent. The hotel was very clean, spacious and light. Restaurant rather expensive and on the night I ate there service not efficient although waitress was charming - they seemed understaffed. However, within 10 minutes walk there is a superb, modern shopping centre, although didn't notice any restaurants the range of take away food was mouthwatering and tables to sit at to enjoy it plentyful. Near to the hotel was a 'restaurant' called Galloway - would not recommend that. Would book this hotel out of choice and have already been back once.

« Venice without breaking the bank »

This hotel is not far from the airport. The rooms are nice and clean. Hotel looks new. Its a small hotel, but only 1 block to the bus into Venice. The ride is about 20 minutes. The staff was very friendly. The food at the restaurant was very good. Breakfast was a buffet and included in the price with a large selection of foods to choose from. I would go back.

« Comfortable But Only Good for a 1-2 night stopover no Red Carpet here. »

We booked 2 nights here, because its in Mestre Area, and out of Venice, because we collected a car at Venice Marco Polo, be careful with the route to this hotel, its simple on the map, but without your own Satellite Navigation in the car, it would have been awkward to find (we had a mishap, our Nav packed up, it took us 1 hour 30 minutes to keep stopping and asking people, how to get there) the Hotel is fine, its in an industrial area sort of (retail park complex), there is a supermarket and retail area about 5 minutes drive away, the room was fine, good quality beds, adequate towels in shower room, generally a nice room, but thats where it ended, there was coffee and tea making facilities in the room, but no milk or creamer, on the 1st night, we were tired and couldn't be bothered to go and ask, the next day when we cam back from our trip into Venice, I went down to reception and told them there was no Milk or creamer in the room for the tea and coffee, and they shrugged their shoulders, and said, ok I will give you 2 ??? Not impressed !, The hotel breakfast room is like a Canteen, and nothing more, we could not sit down on the Sunday morning, as the hotel was over crowded with people going down at around 8 to 8.30am for breakfast, and it opens at 7am, with no where to sit, we had to wait until someone vacated a table, then the tables were filthy and the staff there were overwhelmed with cleaning the tables for new guests, the breakfast consisted of hot and cold items typical Italian offering, Scrambled egg, streaky bacon, boiled eggs, sausages, and cold items, cheeses hams and breads, etc, what you would expect, and pastries, coffees, nice cappuccinos, etc, the breakfast itself is ok, the waiting for a table, and hanging around, looks like a bus station cafe at best. The Lifts were irritating, for one thing, they are slow, very slow, and always full at peak times, and it took a long time to call down the lift to ground floor, its only a minor irritation but at peak times, it will appear a bigger irritation on your stay, they could be better, and other hotels, have far faster lifts, I am sure. I would say, use this hotel if you have a 1 to 2 night stopover, don't use it for any longer, it isn't going to roll out the red carpet for you, and only use it if you are coming by rental car, the hotel shuttle is available to VMP airport, but only at certain times, and costs I think E6.00 per person per journey, there is on site parking and its free, WIFI is also free, and worked very well, we chose it because of price, and price is the key, you get what you pay for, the staff issue was a mixed bag, first night very friendly and helpful, 2nd night, indifferent and not helpful, overall, I would say, its ok to use at weekend, but anytime other than that...look for somewhere else.

    5
« Great hotel in every way! »

This hotel is modern, clean, comfortable and close to the bus route to take you right into old Venice. It also offers a very good free breakfast, and the staff are so helpful I was really amazed. There is not much around this hotel except for a shopping mall a few blocks away, and the restaurant in the hotel is pricey, so don't stay here for it's location, besides being convenient to the airport and bus and train.

« Nice property, but terrible staff »

I stayed here about a month ago with a friend for one night because we were leaving on a cruise from Venice, and arriving late at night so we wanted to stay close to the airport. I emailed the hotel a few weeks before to see if they could arrange a car for us from the hotel to the cruise terminal. They were very nice, and said that we could set it up when we arrive. Our flight ended up getting delayed 12 hours in Istanbul on our way to Venice, which as you can imagine was very stressful. I had my father call the hotel to let them know that we would be arriving in the morning because of our delay so that they keep the room for us. We arrived at 7AM, the hotel itself is very nice. The lobby, the rooms, the outside, it's esthetically gorgeous. The gentleman that checked us in on September 13th at around 7AM was not so nice. He was very rude for no reason, and when I asked him about booking the shuttle to the cruise terminal he told us we would have to take a taxi, and that the price was going to be 5 times what they told me weeks prior via email. When I told him that I had been communicating with someone via email at the hotel and received different info, he told us that there was a shared van leaving for the cruise terminal at 1PM if we wanted to take it. We said that would be fine, and then I asked if they accepted credit cards for the shuttle. He just gave me a hard no. I came to Italy with a little bit of Euros, becasue we planned to have time on Sunday to exchange money or withdraw (which was not the best decision, I know). I asked him if there was an ATM anywhere, to which I received another hard no. No offer to help problem solve, he just didn't care. He said you can probably figure something out. We were so tired after traveling for 36 hours (from NYC to Italy) that we just went to our room to go to sleep. When we woke up for breakfast 2 hours later, which was pretty descent, and we stopped at the front desk and spoke with a woman who was also very cold and rude for no reason. I asked her if there was an ATM near by, and right away she gave me directions to one that was in a mall down the street. So all of the sudden there IS an ATM??? Interesting... This hotel is full of employees that hate their jobs, and it really shows. I would never stay here again. It's not even anywhere near the heart of Venice, which honestly is the whole point of visiting Venice. When we came back from our cruise, we stayed at Hotel Serenissima and it was an absolutely amazing experience. It is in the heart of Venice, the staff is unbelievably amazing, and it's not that much more expensive than staying all the way in Mestre. Also, a cab ride from the airport to the Best Western Quid is 40 Euro, so don't think that it's a super inexpensive hop, skip, and a jump away. I highly recommend that you look into Hotel Serenissima, and that you shell out a little more cash for a much better experience.

« Great value for money - Excellent service. »

Read reviews of this hotel on line, liked it and booked for three nights during our visit to Italy from USA. Excellent experience, room was very clean and breakfast was the best, lot of choices in breakfast, loved it every morning. The hotel is visible from main road, opposite to bus stand, you can even see from the bus stand, made it very convenient for local travelling. The hotel has a beautiful shuttle service, dropped us to our cruise dock in their shuttle and also dropped us to the airport. How much better you can ask for. Lot of convenience. The entire front desk staff was very helpful, specially Mr. Massimo who was of great help in guiding us for local travelling, giving us all the tips and made sure that we get our shuttle service in time. There was little issue with the breakfast as they charge extra for breakfast for the 2nd member. Only one member gets it free. It was fixed to our satisfaction by Mr. Massimo. Over all great experience. If Massimo is not available, Mr. Mario is another great person to deal with. We bought bus tickets and day pass for local travelling from front desk of this hotel, they were very helpful in day to day guidance as you need a good reliable source of advise in a foreign land. Over all very happy with this hotel and will certainly recommend it. Its all because of the friendly and helping attitude of employees who work there.

    « Airport convenient, nicely-priced hotel »

I was pleasantly surprised at what a nice hotel this was for the price. The room was very clean, recently decorated and had tons of room for our 6 pieces of luggage. The breakfast included in the price was very nice and convenient for a morning flight. The hotel owns its own airport shuttle that made it super easy and inexpensive to get to the airport. It is not very easy to get into Venice if you plan on spending time there the day before your flight. I'd suggest taking the hotel airport shuttle to the airport and taking a water taxi or shuttle into the city from there. All in all, though, for what we needed, this was a very nice hotel.

    1
« Misleading - not close to the airport at all! »

We needed a hotel close to the airport to spend the night, as we were arriving late in the evening and had to leave again early morning. We were completely mislead by the hotel name, as it is not close to the airport at all. It's a 15km ride, 36 euros by taxi. Another misleading point is the fact that the hotel says it has a shuttle to and from the airport, but in fact, the service is restricted to certain hours of the day. Do not stay there if you need a hotel located close to the airport!
