Best Western Hotel Cristallo

I stayed at this hotel in July 2023. I enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast buffet was tasty. The only disappointments were the fact that the shower in the room was not the best and the TV was very small, smaller than other hotel room TVs. However, apart from those things, I quite enjoyed my stay at the Best Western Hotel Cristallo and I would certainly go there again!

Wonderful efficient and professional staff at the reception and breakfast room, everywhere. Perfect cleaning service and excellent restaurant food and service. The room are spacious the beds are super comfortable.

Room on third floor was noisy, due to small room and loud neighbors. Room on first floor was much more nice. Wi-fi was not the best all the time. But in general, a good place to stay for business trips. Especially, because their restaurant is inside the building and they have a nice menu (updated every 4-5th day).

Good hotel, in the suburbs, overlooking big rotary and large roads. Use ear plugs if you want to keep the windows even cracked open. However, to connect to internet, they demand that you supply your email address... so that they and the business partners may, of course, send you tons of unwanted junk mail in the future (they swear they won't, but we all know better from past experience). This is unacceptable from a Best Western hotel.

Yes, all my needs were fulfilled satisfactory. I don' t recommend this hotel for touristic purpose. The facilities are very good, but the position of this hotel is not in the picturesque surroundings.

Honestly, the hotel is not so bad, but it's bloody hot and they control the air conditioning from reception. When we call to ask them to turn it on, they just tell us they are turning the heating off. And then they lie and say they will speak to their manager about turning it on. It's ridiculous & very uncomfortable. They clearly don't care about their guests.

Very good hotel with large room and extra comfy bed. Clean and nice bathroom and shower. Parking and WiFi are good. Mantua city center is only at 6-7 km. Very kind and professional staff is the cherry on the cake!!!

Hotel very clean, room very clean and spacious,service good and staff very friendly and helpful. Would recommend for a stay when visiting the area. Restaurant food is well cooked and well presented, breakfast is a typical continental style.

Plenty of parking. Not much to do in the area considering, but I was travelling on business and it was within 20 minutes of my destination. Several really good restaurants in the area within a few minutes walk. The on-site restaurant has good food but splitting the check is problematic and defaults to the front desk. Rooms were ok, bed was hard, but all in all it was nice. Breakfast at the hotel was very good. Overall 4 stars.

Hotel is clean and comfortable. Dinner delicious and a very good breakfast. Also staff is very friendly. I was here a few times, on a cycling tour and each time all of our guests were super happy with the chosen Hotel. I recommend it warmly.

We chose this hotel because is close to Mantova city center, only a few minutes drive. Comfortable bed, nice clean room. Average breakfast. Pool is nice, but the bar at the pool was closed, it woukd be good to have some coffee or drinks available.

Myself and my wife have just returned from your Best Western Hotel Cristallo in Mantova where we stayed for 1 night between the 8th - 9th August instant. We found the Hotel had all the facilities we are accustomed to expect from your hotels, but found one particular detail that seems to be recurring - the unavailability of Coffee/Tea making facilities in the room as advertised. We only found a Kettle, 1 Teabag and several Sugar sachets!? Otherwise, it is excellent value and good for stop-overs in long journeys by car and 10 miutes drive from city centre in Mantova.

This hotel was perfect for us. The a/c was great(it was very hot when we visited).The breakfast was very nice. The room was large and clean.And there was a nice pizzeria very near ..by as well as a smallish supermsrket.I did not use the pool..but those who did seemed to enjoy it. Our room had a bare cement floor..I assume this will be fixed up one day.personally I was not bothered.

I appreciated the initiate services provided by your front desk staffs namely "Nana M" . I spoke no Italian language at all and at her initiation, she assisted me in making a booking with an Italian restaurant and penned down the menu for me. She was so nice that she made computer record so that "Anna F" in the next morning knew everything and took immediate follow-up action according . Their services released me much of my stress as a visitor in Italy. I also appreciated the warm smiling face of "Victoria" too. Their service were impressive. I enjoyed much in my stay with the hotel.

The hotel was welcoming and clean however the air conditioning units in the room did not work and the heat in the room was overwhelming and made it uncomfortable to sleep as with the windows open the main road which is busy and noisy is right outside. The bathrooms was ok everything worked but could do with a update as was very old but still worked and the lighting was dull and made it difficult to shave. To finish a positive the breakfast hade a good variety form cooked breakfast to fresh fruits and yogurt. And lots of fresh juices and coffee. I personally would not choose to return unless the bathrooms was updated and air conditioning fixed.

It was easy to book this ahead of time and pay ahead of time through Best Western in the US. A great location for visiting Mantova (Mantua) with ample parking. Nice restaurant with good service. Tasty breakfast buffet and comfortable room. Mantova is a wonderful small city with lots to see. We had a rental car, which made this a great spot out of the city center.

Basically the hotel wasn't at all bad. The room was clean and comfortable with double glazing and air conditioning.Be warned,the restaurant shuts at 9 pm, ridiculously early for Italy. However there is an excellent restaurant a short walk from the hotel. The young receptionist, who appeared to be running the place single-handed, apologised for the defective plug and said she couldn't find anyone to repair it but we could change our room. We said no, too much trouble for one night. But this is a big modern hotel and they should have a handyperson available, even at weekends. Breakfast appeared to be good but the milk tasted is if had come out of a tin. Italian fresh milk is good; why not serve it? And in "the land where the citron blooms" (Goethe), why have sugared orange concentrate with lots of additives(orange squash) instead of pure orange juice? Luckily there was yoghourt as an alternative to milk on one's cereal. The coffee is ok, out of a machine which adds milk.

Only the poor breakfast... You better ask 10-12 euro for the breakfast and offer fress fried eggs, more fresh meats, cheeses and bread... The hotel will make a profit on the breakfast, and get more satisfied guests...

My client booked me in here, after collecting me from the airport. He was in a great rush due to family and said he would pick me up on the Monday morning. Checked in OK and a very nice receptionist informed me that on Sunday their resteraunt is closed. By the time I reached my room on an upper floor, the very spartan decore and carpets put me in mind of a well known French chain of hotels! The room was large, very clean but as before very spartan. The air-con heating system worked OK, but the bathroom was a bit aged, and there was a bad smell coming from the shower drain. When asking reception if there was a restaurant near by, she said that she and her colleague lived out of town and didn't know, particularly as it was Sunday. Fortunately the taxi I summond and driver Alex, took me to a great restaurant called Contadinostrano, and he picked me up an hour later and returned me to the hotel. Breakfast was very extensive, but I found the bread and rolls a bit stale, but the cold meat and cheese was OK. The hot food by 8am was getting quite dried up so I didn't bother with that. All in all, I would have prefered the French chain !

This Hotel permit you to have a position near the autoroutes and near the city of Mantova. Here you have no problem to park the car . Rooms are big and clean with all the comforts, water is free and also coffe and tea in each rooms.

Appalling experience. Overall Hotel doesn't deserve 4* rating, breakfast is poor, food is stale and interiors falling apart Specific example: i sat on one of their beds which completely collapsed under my weight (I'm not particularly heavy). as a result i violently hit my head against windowsill. When asking for a refund the manager said i should be the one refunding them for having broken the bed Lack of basic dignity/courtesy. Please avoid

Good hotel, good service, decent rooms and good breakfast. The hotel is located closed to Padova and Mantua and is convenient if you are using a car to travel. They have free parking and the area is a quiet one.

A very nice hotel, I would recommend it to my f&f, we booked it just 2 hours before our check-in. located just 10 min driving with a car from Mantova's city center, got a parking area. Staff - very kind & try to do their best when the air con didn't work (some people felt cold on the warmest day of April!!!) so they couldn't turn it on. As a result of that we slept with an open window (room is towards the road so it was hard to fall a sleep, they couldn't change our room because the hotel was fully booked). Cleaning - very very clean & tidy, I was so surprised! Food - free water from the mini bar, a huge plus from our side! Coffee kit - had only tea, no coffee at the moment, but you can buy coffee from the bar on ground floor. Breakfast - young waitress were nice, it looked like the older one was annoyed when I was asking her for cold soya milk (answered as if I'm disturbing her & walked away while was still talking to me!). cappuccino with soya milk was very good, also a fresh baguette, all the rest was average, from the cold frittata to the croissant (not the best quality...), the pie were not fresh & crunchy. Fruit salad was better to prepare it with fresh fruits only. Restaurant - wow! Food was delicious & stuff was super! We were with our baby, they gave us her pasta very quickly, one good sitting chair was taken by a family that was there before us, so the waiter got us another chair (looks like Ikea's), my 10 months baby succeeded to get out of the seat belt! Watch out for your baby.

Very friendly hotel with huge comfy beds. I stopped here for a few nights on business and nothing was to much trouble. Not a great deal in the local area but as we was visiting a local business it was ideal.

It was a stop on our way home from Elba island. Hotel was nice, very well equipped room, just a little far to walk to. You have to be fast to enter the room after you put the card. Private parking place was one of our must when we booked and we found enough place in the back parking. Good breakfast, lot to choose from.

this hotel is an average hotel,no more.the rooms are ok,clean but the breakfast is poor,some of the products were not fresh,the bread was dry and that is enough to spoil your mood for the rest of the day.

Good location very close to Mantova. Clean rooms and good sanitary and running hot water. Free WiFi good working. Staff polite and helpful. Value for money. I stayed here also last year and a long time ago in the past. Always happy an will come back. Breakfast is also very good. Good for business people!

Located near Mantova, only 5 minutes drive. Many parking space for guests. Staff are friendly. Price is good. Breakfast is good. Room is not big but cozy. Lighting is a bit dark! Very close to main road, better book a room facing swimming pool.

Easy to be reached from motorway, very close to city centre, siutable for business, families...good parking facilities...clean and spaceful room...free wifi connection offered...the pool was out of order, although it was august

Set just two miles south of historic Mantova, the hotel is set on a roundabout near to the main regional autostrada. Fantastic staff, helpful in all ways this hotel has excellent evening meals and great breakfasts. Free parking, good lifts and a range of nearby and walkable eating places in the village add to its pull. The rooms are big and clean but the bathrooms have no shelving, poor mirrors and the toilets are set almost in the very poor showers. Good news for those concerned on reviews about the swimming pool - is that it is being renovated but the low quality a/c is still in need of am upgrade In all a very good value hotel and worth a visit . Honesty four star hotels with an interessant restaurant. Clean rooms. 3 kilometers by center of Mantua and bus service stops at 8 pm. Good service. Attention for the pool, generally closed. In the restraurant ask for typical dishes, are better than the ther one
