Best Western Malmo Arena Hotel

Right next door to the Malmo Arena so great if attending here. Large shopping Mall and multiple restaurants supporting the Mall and Arena. Apart from that nothing and I would stay in the city centre as I usually do next time. Rooms okay and bed reasonable comfortable. Staff friendly FLT and all areas clean. Breakfast good but lacked yoghurt which was surprising

From arrival to check out this hotel has been a delight. The reception staff was very welcoming and informativ, the room was very spacious, comfy and clean and the breakfast was the best I ever hade. I can highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Malmö. I have stayed at other hotelser in Malmö before but this takes the lead. I will happily return when in the area next time.

The room was small but it has the necessary facilities. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was very good. It was near to the metro station and a big a commercial centre. It was perfect to stay during my business trip in Malmo.

Overall a big disappointment. The breakfast is located on the 2nd floor with a long walk through a corridor where you will see an endless queue of people waiting. The ceiling had hanging spider webs, pressure of water in shower low. The surrounding area around the hotel was dirty, full of cigarette butts and papers.

The location isn't that central so if you are back and forth to central Malmö then you may want to stay further in. The nearby train station connects directly (and regularly) to Copenhagen airport and Copenhagen Central station so would be great for an airport hotel. The rooms are very clean, modern and well maintained. The windows don't open but there is climate control in the room. The breakfast was excellent. There was a very large range of hot and cold options, breads, fruit, oatmeal, eggs, pancakes, salads etc. The staff were incredibly accommodating for people with allergies and dietary restrictions. The other highlight of breakfast is being able to sit back and enjoy the view of the titular arena because the breakfast is served in the arena restaurant.

Booked Premier King sized bedroom Checking in - was quick and easy. The receptionist was welcoming and nice! The rooms were very standard, The beds were two singles together but with two separate duvets on the top which kind of isolated you from your partner as you were either squeezing under the one, fighting the gap to try make it overlap over the both of you or you just slept separately... so may as well have booked twin beds. There wasn't a cupboard or drawers either, just a hanging rail which meant our clothes were not protected from any dust/sprays and they were just in the open. The breakfast was very bland. We stayed 4 nights and only ate breakfast the first two mornings. It was either cold or stale and despite it being a large breakfast room there wasn't a lot. We had dinner on our final night which was a Friday. Our reservation was made for 20:15. We were standing waiting for a while and no one acknowledged us all to the point we were worried we were not going to eat. However the girl apologised as they were busy (to which they were due to large groups, no staff member had even looked at us). We were taken to our table and we waited 30 minutes before our drinks order was taken. (Again we understand it was busy, we were just slightly worried the kitchen would close). We ordered food and drinks together and it came out quickly. I had the Swedish meatballs and I tell you it was the best dinner I ever had. The mashed potatoes was soo good also! We ended up waiting a further 20 minutes after finishing to order dessert while the large groups were clearing off and then finally ordered dessert. After we ate we were looking to settle the bill but again had to wait for a server to the point we stood at the bar for a while to settle. We understood it was busy and coming to the end of a tiring shift as we both work in the hospitality industry but we both felt like we were waiting more than we were eating etc. We didn't get much time in the sky bar either as it as closing by the time we had finished. The sky bar is beautiful and the staff there were 10/10 and made our stay! Overall, its a convenient location and the staff are very nice, helpful and a credit to the hotel! They are all friendly and I cant fault them one bit

Staff were friendly and helpful if we needed anything. our room had great views and was incredibly comfortable and clean. Breakfasts were exceptional throught our 4 day stay and we would definately stay here again

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and there was a great selection of gluten free food. The staff at breakfast were knowledgably and very helpful.

Highly recommended, I have stayed here many times for business and I have never had an unsatisfactory stay. The hotel is clean, food is good, staff are pleasant, facilities are to a high standard. All the rooms I've stayed in have been very clean and comfortable. Good gym and sauna too.

We showed up at 12pm inquiring about an early check in as we had flown overnight and you would have thought we asked for their first born. The girl snapped that it's a 3pm check in but at least you can store your luggage. The rooms are very small even by European standards especially for a newer hotel. Only reason we stayed was because we went to a Malmo hockey game. Next time we'll go back to Copenhagen.

Desk was super small, not enough hangers for suite and other clothes (no cupboard). The light near mirrors was totally NOT appropriate for make-up. You should book your breakfast time in advance - who knows what happen if you forget it or sleep too long. Want extra stress, try!

The room we got had a nice view of the bridge going to Copenhagen. It was also easily accessible and there is a parking space inside. There are few slots though so check with reception if there is space upon check-in. You need your hotel card to access the parking.

Classic example of a hotel spending all the money on the communal / public areas but not the rooms. Small and furnished a bit like a student bedroom. And only being able to book breakfast by scanning a QR code that requires you to accept newsletters and other marketing is appalling and shameful. Only reason it isn't 1 star is that the staff are very polite and friendly.

Incredible kindness and hospitality! The breakfast staff was especially wonderful and amazing, and they worked so hard to make everything perfect and to make people feel so welcomed (like royalty!) Special thanks to Madeleine, too.

The hotel location is ideal for people who want to visit the arena or Malmö mässa. It is 5 minutes from the Emporia mall. But I think that the room is overpriced. Its a small and basic room. The breakfast was good with all usual food that you would expect. For me this was a breakfast and bed experience that should have a much less price.

Hotel very nice. Rooms quite simple. Not many TV channels. Prices OK, both for room and in the small shop. Very difficult to find hotels garage. A lot of unfinnished construction nearby wich was quite annoying.

Grumpiest front desk blondes in town. Demonstrative and less then eager to provide service. Pristine «Your problem not mine» attitude when it comes to parking and garage keys. Trying their best to be invisible to avoid having to interact with paying customers.

As previously, I didn't get any information whatsoever about WiFi, breakfast, restaurant- nothing. Room with no fridge but coffee facilities. If you haven't any business in the arena, the location is boring. Huge shopping Center just steps away. Excellent breakfast!

You don't need to be a big business person to be equally serviced by the Best Westerns. This is comfort for the Travellers with small children. Especially when travellers are experiencing the stay in a hotel very first time in the life. The experience for life.

Decent rooms and friendly staff. But this place... Built by Malmö bigwig Percy Nilsson. He named one restaurant Percy and the other one Nilsson. He put a statue of himself at the reception. And what the actual _hell_ was this picture doing over my bed?

We were here with our travel company. We booked a 4 day trip to Copenhagen and we spend three nights in this hotel! And I loved it! It is clean (very important). It's the first hotelroom in a long time where the bathroom was clean. Breakfast was just fine! Enough of everything. The receptionists and staff were very friendly. The skyroom was excellent. And also very important: the hotel was nearby a train/busstation (so you could go anywhere you want). And there is a shoppingmall nearby.

Had a great deal for the hotel. The location is a little off from the city center which required the family to drive in for dinner. The area does not feel so safe in the evening especially where the Macdonald is down the street. Room was clean and we got enough towels for our family of 4. Breakfast was fine but nothing spectacular.

The room was a bit small but otherwise very good; clean and tidy with a comfortable bed! I would have liked a better view but the staff was fantastic and very professional and service minded. The breakfast was good but situated quite far from the entrance and had a very limited vegan assortment. A great place to stay though!

Stayed here on a work trip and found the hotel to be quite good. It's centrally locates with a lot of restaurants and a lovely mall for shopping nearby. Rooms are a good size, bathrooms are decent and the restaurant seemed busy. Highly recommend

Completely messed up the booking - zero rooms and now sending me to another hotel with no food service and it's so late nothing is open. Shocking. Be warned - CHECK YOUR BOOKING - they OVER BOOK! The receptionist did try her best to sort things out to good on here - but you really expect more as a business traveller.

Arrived late for just a nights stay. Easy to find, and place to park in front of the Hotel. Just to let you get the bags inside and check in. Then you have to park in the Emporia Shopping Center. It's just a cross the street and 2 minutes walk back. Nice receptionist. However, I didn't get any information in terms of WIFI, restaurant, breakfast etc. Room for improvement! The room turned out to be very nice and clean! Large tv with no Danish channels. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Coffee facilities. No fridge. Strong WiFi. Excellent breakfast with everything in cold and hot varieties.

Been at Arena hotel several times now and every time very serviceminded people and the breakfast buffet is awesome. The rooms are very good with big vindows and the view is awesome. The hotel is very close to the station and you can visit Denmark in 20 minuts....

The rooms are clean an crisp, the breakfast good and lunch and diner excellent. The hotel is within walking distance of a train station and a 7 minute train ride from the center of Malmö. It is also next to a big new shopping mall with food court.

Positive points: Unique location if you´re a fair exhibitor or visitor!! Cannot be beaten. The breakfast has an absolutely great view into the ice hockey arena, which really suprised me when entering the breakfast area! Liked the food at lunch & dinner really much! Negative points: I had a second booking via booking.com on the arrival day which was a flexible booking (free cancellation until 18.00pm) which I wanted to cancel through the front desk. They told me it is not possible and I gotta call booking.com. I know that there is a booking.com Extranet where they could do it through and that way they also avoid having the commission charged, but I wasn´t helped further and at the end had to pay for it. Breakfast food wasn´t too pleasing, eggs were ready from a pot, bacon was drizzling in fat and not crispy. But actually the view was so amazing that it was kinda OK then. I was alone in the room and received two beds instead of a Queen/King size bed. No room service or minibar.

Spending a weekend holiday here with the family, visiting a hockey game in the same building. Very good experience, great breakfast also! You have to take the train to the city, but you get to Copenhagen airport in 25 min.

Worst western in Malmø. Bad service at the reception . Information regarding breakfast area was totally poor. The reception ladies were snobby and not helpfull. The chain i work with will not use the hotel again next year. The only way for companys to understand bad service is not to use them again. Change the hotel and change your experience. Cant see this hotel doing anything soon.

Attending an exhibition and conference at new Exhibition Centre booked this hotel on line. Check in and room very pleasant and the amenities in the room all worked and functioned perfectly. Front desk staff helped out when I had a problem with cables for a computer. Warm, dry, comfortable and exactly what you want at a major exhibition. I would imagin that the place is packed when there is a hockey match or major exhibition on so book early aand its a bit of a hike through the hotel and facility to where breakfast was served but breakfast itself was very good with the right balance of Swedish and International dishes.

Anyone looking to stay in Copenhagen at a sensible price, look no further than Malmo in Sweden! This is a fantastic hotel and brilliant location. The room was not flashy (think Travel Lodge meets IKEA) but bed comfy; pillows comfy; clean; good shower and kettle and lovely staff. The two main plus points though are the location and breakfast. Location: One stop on train from Copenhagen Airport. The train is within the terminal. We bought our ticket (your looking for Hyllie, rather than Malmo itself) and it cost about £10. When we got off the train, the hotel is in essence facing you. You simply walk the length of the building to get to the entrance. Fab for late night arrival as we were. There's a shopping mall and McDonalds and Vapiano nearby for food. The next day then got the train to explore Copenhagen. That was about £25 return but if you're good with your timing its valid 24 hours. We therefore had all day Saturday exploring (just a few stops on the train to the centre which drops you right outside Tivoli Gardens) but then are also covered back in to Copenhagen to join our cruise ship the next day. We had a higher room in the hotel and you get a view of the bridge. However if you don't have that, head for the Skybar on the 16th floor and you'll get the view there. Lovely atmosphere and drinks. Breakfast buffet was absolutely amazing and one of the best I've had. The staff were attentive and plenty off them. Everything had a homely feel, all the lovely loaves of bread; the cheese cutter gadget but then on getting your orange juice you were using like a tablet so modern feel too. There was hot food and fresh fruit and cereals and a waffle maker which was popular. For the crazy price of £60 a night which was a double and included breakfast, it was such a find (after thinking we were going to have to spend about £200 a night and maybe share a bathroom in Copenhagen!) Will definitely be back! Thank you.

Situated just outside the exhibition hall and easy to take a train in to Malmö just a few minutes away. OK rooms with clean bathroom. The breakfast was superb. Al you could wish for. There were a nice bar on the roof, but the food you could have there were not good. The restaurant down below where closed when we stayed there.

I always like to start with the pluses. The location was perfect, walking distance from the train to Copenhagen, and the breakfast was okay. There is a mall across the street which was great. The sky bar on the 16th floor offers a fabulous view and great selections, even though the service was slow and not courteous. The room was extremely small and the shower leaked. The ladies at the front were not as nice as the gentlemen who worked at night. I paid $15 for one water and came back 10 minutes later to buy another one and she said it was $20.That's not okay! The AC barely worked even after someone came to look at it. I would only recommend because of the location, nothing else.

Really high prices for parking, and not always available! You will have to park a bit away (for even a higher price per night) when not available. Breakfast was ok and room standard was also good. Within good walking distans to Hylie trainstation.

I chose Malmö Arena hotel because it was a 4-star hotel with many rooms. It was close to the business venue I was attending. I had rather unexpected check-in experience at the Hotel: At the check in , the hotel female receptionist over charged me 20% room rate which booking.com had confirmed to me. When I went back to ask the receptionist, she told me something was wrong with booking.com. I told her that booking.com was the largest hotel booking site in the world. The chance for booking.com to make mistakes was slight. Then she told me that there had been other mistakes happened the same day with booking.com. After this uncomfortable conversation, I wanted to register my Best Western points. The other female front desk manager told me that I couldn't receive Best Western reward point, as I had booked through booking.com. I referred to other hotels reward programs like Hilton, Sheraton, Mandarin Oriental & Marriott that I could earn loyalty points nevertheless. The front desk manager informed me SERIOUSLY that the only way for anyone to receive Best Western reward points, was that one has to book directly with the hotel or directly at Best Western websites. I have never heard of such thing. When I went into the room, the Kingsize bed I booked was two single beds put together. Not a kingsize bed. There was no wardrobe in the room! Only some simple IKEA like black wooden hangers on the wall (nothing wrong with IKEA). To my surprise, the scarlet bedcover was not on the bed. The bed looked like someone had been lying on top of it. I asked the hotel to change the sheets. The male housekeeper was insisting that the bed was nothing wrong. I went into the bathroom. It was bare and dusty, had none of the hotel amenities, not even a shower cup. I went to front desk and told the receptionist that this was absurd. I asked friendly if I could have some basic 4-star hotel amenities. The front desk manager simply shook her head. Disregard all the hardwares, the single most important hotel experience for me has always been the software: the Human Experience. This was one of my worst 4-star hotel check in experience.

I booked through hotels.com for this stay and found it for about an average of $75 USD per night. If your opinion of Best Western's is based on what you see in the US, I encourage you to keep an open mind with this hotel as it is much nicer than most domestically. Standard European rooms with style and size. The first few nights I split a room with my brother and it had two small twin beds. The last night I moved into a twin single room. The bed was slightly bigger, but the room smaller. Higher level rooms have nice views of the city and surrounding area. Bathroom is small, but adequate. Showers nice and warm once you figure out the shower configuration here. Breakfast was probably the best thing about this hotel - adequate and full of just about anything you could want. Front desk staff is great, very helpful. Hotel offers bikes to rent at 50 SEK per day. Hotel is convenient to Emporia Mall, Arena, and Hyllie Station offering easy transportation access to Copenhagen and the rest of Sweden. The bar on the top floor is a nice spot!

This hotel was clean and comfortable! Perfect location for us since we was only passing Malmö. It was a long walk to the breakfest in Malmö Arena. But a very big and good selection :-) And since one of my boys are crazy in hockey the place was perfect. A downside for this hotel was the parking possibilities. We had to take a garage on the other side of the street and when asking for parking it didn´t get a nice answer as expected :-( But in general the staff was nice. +++ Room ++ Breakfest + Location - Answer when talking about parking possibilities -- Long walk to breakfest --- Parking possibility

Spent one night at this hotel on a business trip. Friendly and helpful staff. Had a clean, modern and comfortable room with a good bed. Good breakfast. Proximity to the Hyllie train station makes getting to Copenhagen airport easy.

The hotel is basically OK. Rooms are relatively small but good enough for a short stay. Had a small evening meal up in the bar which is quite nice and not too noisy. Nice view. Breakfast is adequate and good. Check in and checkout without problems. Parking is a bit distant.

We missed connection flight from Copenhagen and stayed at this hotel. Hotel has perfect location, super close to the train station, where you can take train to the Copenhagen airport. We were welcomed by 2 very sweet and helpful ladies. Breakfast was OMG! We travel a lot and I never ate breakfast like that in any of the hotels we stayed. So many choices of delicious foods and drinks. We had to leave at 4.30 am so hotel staff prepared breakfast especially for us, regular breakfast starts at 7am. They also gave us a map and told us what can we do and see in Malmo.

The standard room is compact but its got everything you would expect from a 4 star hotel! The location is very convenient (train station is 5 min walking distance), clean rooms, comfortable beds, great fitness with outdoor calisthenics area (!!) excellent continental breakfast and friendly & helpful staff!! Definitely will come back to this hotel again.

I've been staying here on business since February, practically living in the hotel Monday to Thursday each week. As of writing this review at the end of May my intention is to continue staying in this hotel for the remainder of the year, I say this because I do have a choice, I could change but I chose not to based on my positive experience. Location: Connected to Malmo Arena. 2 minutes walk from Malmo Hyllie station. 11 minutes on the train from Copenhagen Airport, 7 minutes on the train to Malmo Central. Emporium Shopping centre is over the road so there is access to shops, supermarkets and more restaurants. 10/10. Reception: The staff are excellent. Friendly, efficient and super helpful. 10/10. Lobby: Spacious, clean, soft seating available. 4 lifts and stairs available. 10/10. Rooms: admittedly not the biggest in the world. However, they are exceptionally clean and functional. Showers are powerful, all rooms are A/C, TV's are also a decent size. In the new building the rooms are better, they are brand new for a start! These rooms feel slightly bigger, the TV is bigger, they have an ironing facility, some soft seating and floor heating in the bathroom. 9/10. Gym: Has just been relocated and made bigger with more equipment. Selection of free weights, machine weights, 4 treadmills, 2 cross trainers and a cycle machine and rower. There is also a sauna just down the corridor. 10/10 Restaurant/Skybar: I've eaten in the restaurant downstairs many times. Every single meal has been exceptionally good. Great taste, quality, service, speed, friendliness. 10/10. I've used the Skybar on the 16th floor too, great views, friendly staff and great pizza which you can ask for boxed if you want to take it to your room. 10/10. Because of the extension, breakfast is now served off level 2 in the arena restaurant. This is because of the extra volume of people. Breakfast is pretty good but it's my least favourite part of the hotel as I personally am not a fan of the location and environment of the new breakfast room. 8/10.

Stayed in the hotel for business reasons. Location of the hotel is good, close to the airport, prices are cheaper then in Copenagen. Friendly personnel. Clean and cosy. Nice breakfast in the morning .

Great stay in Malmø, Hyllie Arena Hotel. A great experience for me and the kids. The staff arranged great rooms with a great view. Arena hotel is very central and the design is awesome. The skybar is a great idea for people and kids.

Twice a year I attend a property exhibition in the expo centre across the road from this hotel. After a busy day in the exhibition it is great that that the hotel is just a 1 minute walk away. The rooms are small, but clean and have everything you need. The staff is friendly and always have a smile on their face (in general I find Swedish people very welcoming and warm people anyway). The breakfast is very broad and fresh. I have never tried to inhouse restaurant, but from what i hear it is good. On the back of the hotel is the Emporia shopping centre with lots of good quality shops. The train station (from where you can take a direct 10 minute train into the airport) is just a 5 minute walk away.

During multiple business trips to Sweden I've stayed in several different hotels. For the hotel itself the Best Western is fairly average. The reason I keep coming back here is due to the two funny bartenders in the restaurant. After not seeing each other for about 3 months they still recognized me and knew what I had to drink last time. Golden guys with a great memory and always in for a small laugh or life lesson. I've specially have had a great time thanks to Luc. He really sold me those drinks with the flair of a real bartender. Kirk and Luc, if you are reading this, whenever I'll travel to Malmö I will stop by for a drink! We will meet again, we only don't know where or when...

A nice hotel situated within a few minutes walk of Hyllie railway station in Malmo. The check in process was friendly and swift. I was staying on the 12th floor and the room was very clean, bed was comfortable. In the room was a TV, hanging space, air conditioning and a kettle with some tea and coffee. There was no UHT milk or whitener for the drinks, I had to ask at reception for this and was provided whitener which was ok for coffee. The bathroom was good, powerful shower and hairdryer. The towels provided in Swedish hotels are quite small, if you're tall like me and have lots of body parts to dry then you might want to ask for an additional towel for the room. The bathroom doesn't have heated rails so if you shower in the evening then the towel will still feel damp in the morning, an extra towel would avoid this. Breakfast was good. Waffle makers were a great addition to the usual breakfast items. The hotel has a gym and sauna on the first floor. Getting to the hotel from Hyllie station is super easy. Just walk up out of the station and then look for the Emporia Shopping Center, head in this direction, don't cross the road to the shopping centre but walk down it for 2 minutes and you'll find the hotel at the bottom of the road.

I was only here for one night and didn't arrive until midnight due to late flight. My colleague and I had to wait a while to check in, I asked for a quiet non connecting room and got a connecting room opposite the lift! On checking my connecting door, I was surprised that it opened into the room next door where there was a man in bed! I called reception and she came up straight away and apologised. Lucky I checked! The bed was hard and the room was basic, breakfast was ok. It was good value for money however I would not stay here again for obvious reasons.

Styed 4 nights. Good location just in front of Malmo exhibition center and close to the train station. Rooms are clean. Small room and bathroom. Nice bar. Kitchen closes at 2130h. Few restaurants around this hotel but all closes by 2130. Nothing special, average hotel.

Here for the first time, we come here with a free reservation by train service (due delay of a train). We take a double room, modern style, bathroom is huge, all is clean and perfect. Bedroom is big and very comfortable. Buffet, during breakfast, is fantastic, international menù, big choice,p. All free for us. Thanks for the service.

The hotel was lovely and clean and the atmosphere of the restaurant and bar was lovely, however the food portion sizes are very small I was still hungry later on. The room was lovely and clean and had a nice view but the double bed was two single beds pushed together so I couldn't say I had the luxury of a double bed as I could only sleep on one side. Would recommended the staff are great and it's location is perfect.

We found this hotel to be well presented, the rooms were of a reasonable size, the staff were friendly and helpful. It is located next to a large mall which was easy for a quick bite. This hotel is appears to be disabled friendly. The breakfast was of a reasonable standard

The hotel is located just some metres away from the train station "Hyille" and just some metres from a big shopping center. The area is calm and pleasant. The hotel room was quite big and the bed was great as well. There is a big restaurant in the first floor where they offere a breakfast buffett that was quite good. Also, the service at checkin was great.

Great hotel, convenient location for overnight trip from Copenhagen. We stayed at a family room, which was clean, spacious and comfortable. Included breakfast was very good and the location from Hyllie train station was only 35 mins from CPH airport. If on budget and don't want to pay crazy CPH hotel prices, an alternative that can be considered. We had to come here for one night as AirBnB rental did not work out and it was fashion week in CPH. Instead of paying $900 for a hotel room in CPH, paid $125 in Malmo (plus train cost). Not much to do around the hotel at night, but we went there to sleep.

Stayed 2 nights with 2 kids and was offered upgrade to 2 rooms ensuite. New rooms, decent breakfast, but location only good for the shopping mall next door. Irritating renovation at main entrance ment lugging the suitcases around the corner to the car. Not really the hotels fault...

We stayed For Two nights at This best western hotel For the first part of our Scandinavia Tour And since We are in a Tour group with a Tour bus, going to To And from Copenhagen is a breeze sa the hotel rates are Cheaper in Malmo than in Copenhagen. The hotel is about a 15 minute Drive to the City Center And about 35 minutes to Copenhagen Via the Oresund Bridge. There are some shops in the arena just Across the Street And a Human fountain. The hotel is sleek And modern And has a free High Speedtest Wifi. The rooms are moderate in size And the bathroom is clean And modern. They have several plugs But bring a universal plug adaptor sa they only have the Standard Two pin European plug. The room has ironing board And a coffee maker but No complimentary water bottles, has a mini fridge And flat Screen TV. The breakfast is complimentary from 6:30 a.m to 10 a.m everyday And is a wonderful variety of swedish And continental European seafood And Cola cuts And assorted spreads.

Excellent hotel! Very clean, nice dining area and good food. It is located right next to the shopping mall, which is great as well. The only downside is that it is outside of the city. Overall, great service!

Good hotel a few minutes walk from the railway station. Hotel has a gym on the 1st floor. Reception was friendly and quick. There is a the Sky Bar in the 16th floor which has great views across Malmö and the Øresund bridge. The hotel is clean and comfortable, the rooms are pretty standard, 2 singles, decent shower. There is a shopping centre, restaurants nearby and a McDonalds next to the station.

Simple and good hotel. Room was clean well equipped. Good WiFi. Breakfast was good. Shame the restaurant wasn't opened but you have places to eat in the cajoling centre just beside the hotel. Location is not the most comfortable waiting but very convenient. Only 10' ride away from Copenhagen airport.

As a regular (weekly) visitor to Malmö, I have stayed at the Best Western Arena for more than 30 nights since August 2017. I have a pretty long list of complaints, and until recently I was only staying here if I was unable to get into the far superior Quality View hotel just down the road. After my last stay (which WILL be my LAST stay), I emailed a long complaint outlining all of this to Customer Services who after 2 weeks have not even had the courtesy to respond. In short: - Never once treated as a valued returning guest - Booking cancelled due to late arrival despite putting on the booking that I was on a late flight - Room not cleaned for three days - Staff response to room not being cleaned was "oh, do you want some towels then" - Cleaner walked in on me as I was getting out of the shower despite me having clicked the clearly useless electronic "do not disturb" button Furthermore, the WiFi is incredibly slow, especially compared to that at the Quality View. If you are unfortunate enough to have to stay here, then download anything you want to watch on Netflix somewhere else (maybe while sitting in the bar at the Quality View ;) From now on, if I'm unable to get into the Quality View I am not even going to waste my time with this truly below par hotel. I'd rather get a train into the city centre and try my luck elsewhere. Good riddance.

A normal standard hotel, nothing more nothing less!? I use this hotel frequently as it is close to our head office if I were in Malmo as a tourist I would probably go for a hotel in the town centre. But it does what a hotel is supposed to do.

Really nice hotel with good facilities. The service at the reception offer a completely unique service, as well as the staff behind the reservation. I can only recommend BW. Very nice breakfast. There is "room" for children at BW.

This hotel in connected to the Malmo Arena, so for concerts, conferences and ice hockey, it's the ideal location. From the second floor, you can walk through to the arena through the connecting corridor - straight into the bar! The hotel itself is comfortable and the staff are so willing to help their international visitors.

Lovely Hotel. Close to the arena and train station. Single room perfect space. Very clean. Shower was good bathroom too. Excellent rates. Great value for money. Would highly recommend staying here. Check out the Sky Bar.

Looked online for a last minute hotel after refusing to pay 400 EUR for the Hilton at CPH, took a 10 EUR train to Hyllie Malmo and a 3 mins walk to this hotel. I got in late, though the receptionist was very helpful, hotel was very clean but small, breakfast buffet was pretty awful though maybe that's because it was in the July holidays. Would stay again.

We went on a round trip in Scandinavia, spent only one night at this hotel, but it was nice. Staff was great, breakfast was good too. The only thing that we didn't like was the location, too far from the city and Central station, and the room was tiny.

New, but basic hotel near Emporia shopping centre in Hyllie. Because hotels on Sweden is generally really good quality (I'd say a 4* in NY is a 3* in Sweden) you sometimes forget you can't have expectations as if you were staying at 4* and above hotels where you get toiletries etc. because I was defo looking for toothpaste >.< but of course there was none of that. I missed that, and a fridge, other than that it was a nice hotel, friendly staff and a breakfast to die for! Swedish breakfast is the best, and always fresh and they didn't disappoint, the restaurant is lovely. TIP! Copenhagen/and airport or Malmoe is only 15min away from the hotel either way and train station literally two minutes down the road. It makes this a great choice if you want to keep cost down, as it can be expensive in both Malmoe and Copenhagen. Plus the shopping centre across the road is well worth a trip!

I stayed in BW Malmö Arena Hotel three nights when attending a conference in Malmö. My room was in third floor facing the mushroom shaped water tower. Not a bad view. I had two beds which were really narrow (80 cm?). It was also a bit weird to pay the stay when checking in. Nevertheless I enjoyed the stay. The Skaj Bar in 16th floor had nice views and the breakfast was quite tasty and enjoyable.

It's an ok hotel in a practical location. But we had a conference and that was not a success, in the morning all was locked and the conf room was more or less corridor. We had to ask for all things, cables, coffee.....etc. And they "forgot" to mention that they were refurbishing the conference floor......noice etc.

This was my second time staying at the hotel and I was not disappointed. It's hard to beat the location if you're attending the arena as they're basically the same building. If you like shopping you have a huge mall across the road. Trains stop a few minutes walk away. The rooms themselves are a lovely size with a nice and bright decor. Lovely and helpful staff. Large and tasty breakfast buffet in the morning rounds off the stay in a perfect way.

Getting here from CPH was simple using the train. Get off at the first stop (Hyllie) and the hotel is less than 5 minutes away. A little confusing at first because I didn't see any signs. I went inside the hotel thinking it was another hotel and asking where Best Western was. Kalle at the front desk told me that I was in the right hotel. Very friendly and helpful with my check in. Room was ok. Nothing stood out but the room had everything i needed for my stay there. I forgot my toothbrush and they were able to provide me with one at the lobby. Wifi worked at all times. Nothing nearby and it is away from the Center of Malmo but Public transportation close by and easily accessible. Also there are some convenience stores nearby to grab some snacks and drinks. I liked how you could rent bikes (It was 50SEK for a day when i was there). Overall, my stay at Best Western was not bad. A little far from attractions though.

Nice, large (16 floors) and modern hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. On top, there's a sky bar offering nice views on clear days/nights. Price is unbeatable for what you get in Sweden/scandinavia. Close to Denmark/the bridge öresundsbron and Malmö arena. Popular among business guests and families. Free coffee/tea in the room. Breakfast was ok, large Scandinavian choice. Staff was professional and friendly. No free parking space around but there is a garage house nearby and if You buy a ticket at the reception before parking you get a small discount: sek 150 instead of 200. Last advice: don't look for big "best western" sign in the building but "Malmö arena hotel".

This was a really nice hotel. The room was really modern, with fantastic views of the Malmo area. The staff at reception and the Sky bar were really friendly (and spoke English thankfully!). Breakfast was a little chaotic, I think it must have been an almost fully booked hotel as there were so many people in the restaurant in the morning. Despite the people, there were still tables to sit at and plenty of food to choose from. The Sky bar on the 16th floor is WELL worth visiting. The view is amazing and the atmosphere up there was really nice. The only downside was the parking. We arrived around 10pm and it was not clear where the parking for the hotel was so we ended up parking in the arena car park, which was a good 5 minute walk from the hotel. Other than that, definitely worth staying here, and I will return if nearby again!

After our trip in Stockholm, we were driving to Malmö. We booked standard room for 1 nights. The room was ok, the toilet was ok, no amenities, breakfast was ok, extra cost for car park, the hotel close to a shopping mall. I'm glad I was staying there for 1 nights only.

Stayed at the hotel one night, tarvelig through Malmø. The room rates are mid-range, affordable. Rooms are very small and with small windows, so no real view. Good breakfast. Nothing else to do in the area (unless there is an arrangement at the arena).

I stayed for one week at the hotel. There was no possibility to pay at the end of the visit and to just block the fee (as generally done in all other hotels). Since I was supposed to be invited by a company, the post meeting payment arrangements with the "inviting" company were made quite embarrassing. The rooms are small with no special luxury and no complimentary drinks, etc. Despite a gym, there is no bathrobe or slippers available. The gym is small but nice though. Breakfast was great and is the only reason why this hotel gets 2 stars from me. The skybar has a fantastic view and mostly nice staff. However, in contrast to the surrounding hotels, after 23 o clock, they are not even willing to serve the hotel guests a drink in their rooms. They were closing at 22:50 sharp and were not open to even a single beer after all. Since there are no free parking slots in the periphery, I booked a place at the local garage of the hotel. I think it's used by hotel guests exclusively. I parked my car in the belief that is was safe. Well, it kinda was. There was a construction side (for an elevator since you cannot access the garage directly from the hotel yet) which by the way covered my complete car in 1mm dust. Someone must have been very interested of what is inside the car and while observing the inside, they put an eye on my fishing gear. Since my rod bag must have looked like a gun case to someone (it doesn't!), the hotel manager went completely crazy. There were only 12 cars parked out of which only 2 had a German license plate. Figuring out whose car it was would have taken approximately 5 minutes. Instead of doing so, they called the police which opened my car and searched it (finding nothing of course). I complained at the hotel manager who didn't even understand the point why I felt unhappy about someone randomly cracking my car open and searching it just because of a fishing rod on the back seat. No apologies, neither a refund or even a serious offer to have the car cleaned from the dust. After all, the restaurant is really good, the location and the rooms are ok, but the service is pretty much as bad as somehow possible.

This hotel does not offer anything special by any means. I had asked for a room with a view and the view I got was a concrete wall from the opposite building. In my room there was no carpet, no bureau, no wardrobe, almost no nothing. My bed was OK though. During check-in only one lonely staff personal was available. Simply a terrible place to stay. Just avoid. There are many much better hotels in Malmö. If You necessarily need to stay in Hyllie (just concrete and booring) for a conference try the other nearby hotel instead.

Friendly personnel, modern and fresh hotel and area around it with shopping and Malmo Arena. Inside parking just opposite the hotel. The room was just big enough, with high ceilings and big windows. The bathroom was on the small side but fresh and functional. The (single) beds were very comfortable. The view from the room was spectacular - the bridge between Sweden and Denmark. The breakfast was very good, the lobby there was big and spacious. The hotel's SkyBar on the 16th floor was great as well. Close to the motorway but still quiet and relaxing. Overall we were happy with our stay, recommending this hotel for sure :)

By many means a nice hotel, in a good spot fine breakfast etc. However I want to share some peculiarities On morning I worked out in the gym and by returning to the room put the do not disturb sign on the door. After about 15 min someone knocked on the door- I ignored it, but it continued so I got up and opened the door. The maid was outside. She pointed at the sign - you put that? Yes, I did. So can i clean the room now? No, i want some peace. I tried to explain to her to come back in an hour, but I presume she didn't understand for the room was never cleaned. The bathroom was tiny and you had to squeeze to enter the shower cabin While in bed I found silver fish in the sheets However as I said breakfast and restaurant were fine, as well as the receptionist

Great food and many alternatives on the menu with very detailed information on what food contains etc. The personnel were great with fantastic service and always smiling. I will definitely come back and have more business lunches here!

On a road trip with a friend, and we needed a hotel close to the highway. This was well placed and easy to locate. Parking was close by and reasonably priced (150SEK per night if bought at the hotel reception). The room was clean and nicely furbished, although not very large. There were two separate beds and a bathroom with shower only. No refrigerator or tea/coffee in the room. In the evening we visited the bar on the top floor, SKAJ. Great view and good for a drink or two, would recommend a visit. Breakfast was ok; good quality but not a very large variety. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Even though the hotel is not in the heart of Malmö, is just besides the commuter trains. Hence, it can take only 7 min to reach the centre. The facilities of the hotel are very nice. The breakfast was a bit lacking of options in my personal opinion. The rest was very ok. Don't miss the SKAJ rooftop bar!

The hotel is nice. The staff is great and helpful. The rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast has a lot of choices. A mall close by and some restaurants, like Vapianos . Close from the train station. I would stay again.

Spent a night here while on a business trip, the room was clean comfortable and especially quiet....breakfast was continental and the coffee freshly brewed. the staff although slightly english hampered were professional and helpful.

We stayed here at two occasions. We were satisfied both time with our rooms. Not that big - but big enough. The hotel is situated just across the street from a big shopping mall with a lot of restaurants to choose among. The hotel restaurant were closed in the summer period. The breakfast was served in the Malmö Arena. Lot af space and a lot of choices to start your day. The only negative was when they opened for serving at 6.30 there were to many guests that wanted an early breakfast so it became long queues to the food table. The sky bar worth a visit at the 16th floor.

In one word to sum it up : average. The room was very small with no room to storage anything. The breakfast, again, was average, with limited choice and no croissants for example. The Skaj bar had very expensive cocktails. Next time in Malmö I'd look for a different hotel.

I visited in May, the rooms were nice enough, quite stylish really, but smaller than you want, especially as we were in a twin room. The shower was lovely though, really powerful and hot (which I think is vital for a good stay!). There was quite a good selection for breakfast (European).

Our room on the tenth floor overlooked the Baltic Sea and Öresund Bridge, with large floor to ceiling windows. There had been some water damage to the roof/restaurant, so we had breakfast in the Malmö Arena, which is attached to the hotel. Housekeeping was fine, and the front desk was very helpful. I did my own laundry, only paying 57 cents to purchase detergent, but it would have been easier to do if I could have read the hi-tech washer and drier instructions, which were written in Swedish. Located in Hyllie which is the first stop over the bridge from Copenhagen Airport, and two stops from downtown Malmö, one block from the transportation center and shopping mall.

This was a short, 4 day, busines trip. The room was clean, and about the same as a Travelodge room in the UK. The restaurant and main bar was closed after some flood damage, and breakfast was a long walk into the adjoining Malmo Arena complex. Fair enough, these things happen, but then someone decided it was a good idea to close the top floor bar as well for a Nordea business meeting, leaving the place bereft of any type of food or beverage service at all. At least the hotel is readily accessible from the train station.

Only negative thing is that the restaurant is closed on Sundays. Other than that, an over all great hotel. Fair pricing and good quality rooms. They do lack charging options for electric vehicules at the parking lot, wich does not feel very 2017 imo. I recommend this hotel.

We stayed in the hotel for 5 nights, location wise it is nice but cleaning in the rooms is terrible, I wonder what room service does in the mornings. Our room was filled with lint all over. Pls notice the amount of lint on the telephone in the pic.

I recently stay at the Best Western Malmo Arena Hotel for 1 night. On arrival, I was greeted by a friendly staff member, during check in she explained to me where breakfast would be served and the other amenities that the hotel has to offer. The room/bathroom were of adequate size, clean and tidy. The bed was very comfy and I got a great night's sleep. I used the Sky Bar on the 14th floor and you get a nice view of the surrounding area from there. The location of the hotel was good for me as I was catching a flight back home from Copenhagen Airport and the train station is within an easy 5 min walk. There is a shopping centre and an Arena next door. Breakfast was good, there was a good selection of (bread, cheese, meats) some hot food (sausage, rasher, scrambled egg) and the usual cereal and juices. Even though the breakfast area was very full because of an event going on nearby they seemed to be able to handle the volume of people and never ran out of anything. Overall I enjoyed my short stay at this hotel, good staff, good breakfast, good Wi-Fi, and transport within a short walk. I would have no hesitation staying here if I am in the area again.

Terrible place to stay. Hotel staff are extremely unaccommodating. Different levels of management are saying different things. the hotel general manager is happy for diamond guests to leave entirely unsatisfied. Save your money and stay at another hotel entirely.

Late arrival and early departure. The hotel is nice and the location might be good if you are visiting the close by arena or have som business in the neighborhood, but for other purposes I do not recommend walking outside after 6 pm. I took the short walk from the train station to the hotel and it was a really unpleasent experience, like walking in an atomic winter, except for some drug dealers cruising around. It felt really unsafe.If you are going to/from Copenhagen Airport with train, I recommend another three minutes with the train to Malmö city instead.

Stayed here the previous year and more than happy to return..good sized clean rooms and helpful staff throughout the hotel. Excelent little gym and also an outside workout area too. A bonus of free coffee and tea downstairs when the restaurant is open which is rare with most hotels. Just a quick stroll to the shopping mall where we were working so ideal and just a quick stroll to the train station also

Best Western Malmo Arena Hotel is an almost new high rise hotel in Hyllie - an almost new suburb to Malmö. The rooms a very nice and comfortable. Everything works - from the free WIFI to the TV and elevators. You can make coffee and tea in the room. The breakfast is great. I think many of the hotel guests are people who go to a concert or a sport match in Hyllie. But Malmö City is only one or two train stops away. So it is also worth while to consider staying in Hyllie as an alternative to Malmö city if you are visiting Malmö or if you are coming from Copenhagen Airport. It is a highly recommendable hotel.

Overnighted two nights. Good sleep, good bed. Crampy small room, no clothes cabinet (= Swedish peculiarity?), barely fitted the chair to the kind of writing deks. Room would be suitable for just single bed. Average breakfast.

This is the first time my sister and I stayed at this hotel and we were very impressed. It is very centrally located, right next to plenty of great restaurants, a big mall and the railway station for a 12minute travel across the bridge to Copenhagen. It is a very modern hotel, attentive staff and the breakfast was great. I would definitely stay there again.

Stayed at this hotel recently in connection with an icehockey game at the Malmö Arena. Hotel is conveniently located if you have business in Hyllie, want to visit Emporia shopping mall or the Malmö Arena. Rooms are pretty small, but adequate and clean. Our room was on the 11th floor and the view was spectacular. Breakfast ok, nothing special, but we asked for, and got, freshly brewn espresso and cappuccino.

We wanted to attend a show at the Malmö Arena and it was absolutely convenient to stay here as we could leave everything in the hotel for the show with this 2 minute walk. It was easy to reach from Copenhagen airport as it lies close to the Hyllie station, a direct 13 minute ride to the airport station, trains leaving every 20 minutes. The hotel itself was functional and we had a great view from the 8th floor towards the Öresund bridge. The bed was really good and the breakfast as well. I would totally come back here.

From the less than charming and unhelpful receptionist to a small hotel room.i was not impressed at all. The bathroom is tiny and no space in the shower, leaving a very wet bathroom floor. The elevators, Skaj bar and breakfast area were not able to cope with the volume of guests - making it hard to get to our room, and we had to wait 30 minutes for breakfast due to queues and lack of tables. The only thing that I would recommend about this hotel is the location next to the Malmö Arena.

This as a modern hotel, fresh and stylish rooms. Soft beds. I used the treadmill at the gym as well with a view over Malmömässan. You can also go outside to a couple of bars and logs, an outdoor gym. The hotel is literally just across the street from Malmömässan. I've stayed here twice and had a lovely stay. The breakfast is nice, but not so cosy ambiance.

New built modern comfy hotel. Stayed on the 10th floor and room was clean and new. Easy checkout. Location right across the shopping mall and 5 min from Hyllie station. Would book this hotel again next time I need a place in Malmö.

If I am lucky I am able to book here at a good rate when I visit Malmö ...this last weekend I was. The hotel in not in the city itself but 20 min by bus 8 or 10 minutes with the train at 20SKR gets you there and the stations are a short walk as is the Emporia mall The rooms are clean beds comfortable , coffe and tea in the room nice breakfast between 0630 and 1000 It took awhile to understand the thermostat albeit the instructions. Leave one key where you turn on the lights when you leave the room to keep your room warm

If you don't expect something luxurious but you still want to get comfort and easy transportation this is the choice. I stayed in the hotel for 2 days and I really enjoyed waiting my relatives coming to pick me for Stockholm, shopping centres around ;)

Good, clean room with comfortable bed. The room is a bit small, but there is all you need for a night or two. The bathroom is also a bit small, but there is all you need. And the hotel is quite new, so the rooms look very fine.

The location of this hotel is very good. It is just 5 minutes walk from the Hyllie train station that takes you to the airport in about 10 minutes and the Malmö Mässan exhibition centre is across the road so less than a minute walk. Opposite the hotel is the Emporia shopping centre which offers loads of restaurants and shops. The hotel is very modern and well equipped. The reception works quick and efficient and even though I was early for my check in, they still already gave me access to my room. The room was not very big but had everything you need. The bathroom has a spacious shower and is very bright. The beds are not very wide and long so especially if you are used to a wider bed you get the sensation that you will fall out of the bed easily. The WIFI is good for sending emails but downloading a video my wife sent from my kids took ages, and this was only a 1 minute video. The whole hotel is ¨cash free¨ so be sure to bring a credit card. In Sweden it is very normal that every amount, even the smallest, is paid by credit card. The breakfast is very good and offers a wide selection. Overall I had a very good stay and really the negatives I mentioned like the small bed and the slow WIFI are not the end of the world. I stayed here for business but this would also be a good hotel for families.

This is a recently constructed hotel, however the rooms are pretty small, specially the shower, if you have big waist could be problematic for you. Nice breakfast, and in a walking distance from the train station and one of the biggest malls in town

This was my first stay at Best Western Malmø Arena, and I believe that the hotel is quite new, no more than 1 or 2 years old so everything is quite modern. Room's, at least mine was quite small, but beds comfortable, and if you're a single traveller and only staying the night it's absolutely OK. The Gym has some basic equipment, and you can do a morning or evening workout, if you can do with the basics. Breakfast standard is certainly better than what you get at most best western hotel. The Hotel has a limited number of parking options of their own, but just 100 meters away you have a large shopping mall with some 4.000 spots so don't worry, you will find a place to park.

It is in walking distance from the train station(Hyllie)and opposite a shopping mall. The rooms are small(single) but clean and quite. Good selection at breakfast with plenty place to sit. Don't like the idea of having to pay for parking.

great location just down the street from the train station, 30 minute train ride from downtown Copenhagen (and the airport is closer). Clean and comfortable, very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast very good.

We stayed here for one night on our way to Stockholm. Modern hotel in a quiet area, very good condition and spacious room. Breakfast was ok. I recommend this for a short stay if you're planning to visit the large shopping mall (Emporia) and don't mind it is quite far away from the city center.

This hotel was one of three chosen to accommodate several hundred athletes competing in the Tug of War World Championships. A major plus was it's proximity to the train station (easy 3 minute walk), which connects to the Copenhagen airport. No shuttle needed. Malmo's bus system makes it easy to see the sights, and you need go no further than across the street to find a large mall that includes three major food stores. Desk staff was very helpful and informative, and even loaned an adapter to me so that I could charge my electronics. Beautiful view from the 16th floor bar, and our breakfast every day was typical of the region, and delicious. Very secure, as you needed your room card for the elevator, and to operate your room lights. Kettle in each room, flat screen TV and you can use washing machines in the building. I wish there had been a small fridge, and there are only two ice machines; one was out of order, but the desk staff offered to get ice from the downstairs bar if needed. Room size was fine for me, two people might have been a bit cramped, but it has typical Swedish design and practicality (might want to bring your own hair products though). Overall, I thought it was a great place to stay - and quiet, despite the large number of people there.

Just as easy to reach for a quick CPH layover as any hotel in Copenhagen, but at a fraction of the price. Hotel staff friendly and helpful beyond imagination. Upon checking out I forgot my entire wallet and phone in the lobby, discovered it just as I was back at Copenhagen airport. The staff did not only find it and left it will all contents intact, they also went to extreme mesasures to make sure the wallet was sent to me by UPS to my final destination. Deeply impressed by the honesty and committment to going "that extra mile" Fresh, clean, no-frills but nothing-missing rooms in typical Scandinavian style. Perfect for a layover or business trip. Location is ideal if you come from Copenhagen Airport (just one train stop, first stop on the Swedish side) but obviously should you be wanting to spend more time downtown Malmö there are certainly more convenient locations.

The hotel is located a short walking distance from the Hyllie train station south of Malmö and is an alternative to the hotels at Kastrup Airport if you have an outbound flight the next day from Kastrup. Certainly it can't be too early as it takes at least 15 minutes to go there and I am not sure how early the train starts in the morning. The hotel itself is fairly good and is located at the Malmö Arena as well and the Hyllie centre with some shops and restaurants, e.g. Vapiano, Jensens Boefhouse, Mc Donalds etc. The room I had was ok with an ok size and the interior looked all fine. The bathroom had the feeling of a hospital due to the big white tiles but it was clean and functioned well. No minbar but a coffemaker was available in the room but there is a sky-bar at the top floor (floor 16) with a nice view over Malmo South. A few english speaking TV channels like FOX, Sky News, CCTV and DW in german.

We expected a hotel that matched all other Best Western Hotels but this was a brand new, high-rise hotel run like a hostel with dozens of youths skateboarding in the car park and running through the foyer. Our mistake, this is possibly a perfect place for backpackers but not for a family holiday. Room services minimal, torn and faded sheets and staff run off their feet unable to cope, disappointed

I stayed BW Arena hotel for a two nights on my business trip. Location is really good if you arrive on Kastrup. It takes only less than ten minutes to get from airport to hotel by train. Check in was easy and staff was really friendly. Hotel room was small, but still enough for one person. Room and bathroom were really clean. There was no minibar but air condition there was. Sleeping quality was good, and I did not got bothered with noises from other rooms. There is a nice gym on hotel, couple of crosstrainers, jogging mat and bench. Also free Sauna. Hotel has really nice restaurant downstairs. Breakfast was continental and very tasty. Recommend for a business trip.

Hotel room is super small. No closet, simple shower, very noisy. Will not book here again. You can hear other guest go to the toilet or showering. The room is tidy but it is really small and has no balcony. You really feel trapped in this hotel. It's better to stay in malmo centrum. Better hotels and better prices.

This hotel could have been really special had they made the rooms bigger. I was banging of the walls at the side of the bed trying to get dressed as there is just not enough space. There is no wardrobe. Just 2 pegs sticking out a wooden panel on the wall with 2 wired coat hangers which would have bent had I put a coat on them. Even the shower screen moved to make some space when sitting on the toilet. The air con in the room was tricky to operate despite instructions underneath. The room was boiling hot and the windows don't open. Was very uncomfortable and hot. On the plus side, the location is good, the newness of the hotel was good and the price was good. Breakfast was OK. The parking at the hotel is expensive.

This is a good looking modern hotel with a good breakfast in an excellent location. Next to Hyllie station 44 sek return to Malmö 440 sek return to Copenhagen. If you like shopping Emporio Centre next door has everything too Good wifi. Downsides no free parking , small rooms with no wardrobes or drawers, air con controller that didn't work and the worst key system in the lifts that I have ever seen . It did cause a lot of good comedy moments tho.

New hotel in a new business area close to Copenhagen and Malmö. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Good gym. Just a bit small. Have a drink in their Skaj bar at the 16th floor. The view is great. Conveniently close to the train station. Cheaper than staying in Copenhagen.

Great value for money for a short stay on business. Clean, decent breakfast, close to infrastructure and trains to Copenhagen. Friendly staff. One drawback. The TV for some odd reason turned on at 3:45! Woke me up! But in general a good stay.

This hotel has nearby parking but could not accomodate our large minibus. We ended up getting a ticket for parking in the grounds of the hotel. It was managed by a private company. The rooms were adequate. The bar was on the top floor which allowed great panoramic views. The breakfast was not very good it was self service and not a lot of choice.

Terrible. My room was dirty and lights were not working. The had no same room available and i got downgraded. NO compensation was offered. They say they PROMISE service, but this is all a marketing joke. I mentioned this and they looked at me in unbelieve.

We really enjoyed this hotel. The breakfast was included and beautiful every morning. We had dinner in the restaurant as well and it was very good. The location, was not awesome for us, as we wanted to spend time in Copenhagen...crossing the bridge to Denmark was about $60 each way...pricey. Otherwise, we enjoyed our time. Parking was about $20 per day as well at the shopping mall across the street. What we saved, staying here, we made up for in parking and the bridge.

This hotel has an excellent location close to the exhibition area and about 20 minutes from the bridge. The rooms are great and the prices surprisingly good. Some odd things that pull down the score however (1) very limited car parking. Arriving late at night I was informed that they have very little parking and that i should go find something on the other side of the exhibition area. Very odd (2) Very short staffed on reception even during peak times so long time to check out etc. If they could sort out these two really annoying things I would give them top marks.

When we arrived the check-in staff kept leaving us waiting- taking phone calls, finding luggage trollies etc. So we didn't feel looked after. At first glance the room and bathroom is fresh and modern. The beds has no mattress covers or covers for the bed it self. This causes the mattress to slide around and you keep touching the mattress witch other people slept in. The bed sheets barely reached around the bed maximum 1 cm overlap to fold under so the sheet after one nights sleep is all scrunched up and you are touching the mattress (with out cover). I think this needs to be sorted especially as Best Western now owns Duxiania. Breakfast was good. But the man tending the bar and breakfast kept biting on his fingers, knuckles deep!- a bit off putting.

Stayed overnight for one night at this reasonably new hotel. Every aspect of this hotel was enjoyable and first class! Whether discussing the staff, the facility, the dining rooms (for both dinner and breakfast), the sleeping room, the bathrooms! Everything was super!

I have spent there several night during my business trip. Hotel is nice, located on Hylie, Malmo ( 1st train stop in Sweden) , close to Emporia shopping mall. Rooms was not very big but clean with all needed amenities. Breakfest was standard quality. Goody price/quality ration.

We needed a hotel to break up the trip to Sweden. This hotel outside Malmo is clean and efficient. Close to the trainstation and malmo arena. Rooms are clean and nice. The hotel has 16 floors and a sky bar.

Good located close to trainstation and the fair (mässan) just by the big shopping mall, Emporia. Nice and bright rooms and service minded staff. Like the Skybar, don't miss it. They also offer a gym, restaurant with a quit good food and a nice launch.

This hotel has potential for a perfect overnight choice for a car traveller driving to or from Europe. The reason why it was not quite yet there was that at 6 pm when we arrived we were informed that the hotel garage was already full. We had to park at a public garage which is always a bit inconvenient and insecure. There is a magnificient view of the Öresundsbron from the hotel bar. Also, a big shopping mall is very near. Service at the front desk was friendly whereas at the bar my language skills were clearly not up to the standards of the bartender, not to mention her frustration of having to open a new bottle of Cava!

Have stayed in this hotel twice now. 5 minutes to walk from Hyllie train and bus station, next to Emporia. Check in and check out swift. You can checkout automatically. Don't expect much service. DIY. Excellent and above par breakfast spread. There is a nice bar lounge on the 16th floor with an excellent view over the sea. I also saw families staying here. Popular with business meetings and stay.

Me and my friends went to Malmö for one night to see a concert and just needed a bed to sleep in for a cheap price. We were amazed when we say that such a beautiful hotel offered a room for 4 people for a reasonable price. And when we came there it was just as in the pictures. Sure, it was simple but simple is good and it had everything we needed. We were very pleased with the stay, and it may be also because on the other side of the street it was a enormous shopping center that had a lot of great shops. We will definitely come back.

Great location and nice clean rooms, however, poor customer service at the front desk. Hotel 'policy' not to hold luggage for more than 1 day. Since I was on a 3 week trip I had 2 bags and was returning 4 days later and wanted to leave a bag, such a shame they wouldn't hold the bag They will not get my business again as their are many other hotels in the area.

Hi travelers, we have come to a nice and extra small reception with two only tables for guests. Nice Lean experience, we have been expected so waiting time under 3 minutes per person. Room 414, small however what do you need on a business trip a bed, shower (this one was a little narrow for my taste) toilet and WiFi, that is not the slowest one. Also gym and dry sauna quite good, in the gym as a courtesy bottles with water, that was very good. Now to my story. I am a health and vegetarian food fan; eating lots of good stuff. I brought my chlorella, spirulina and Green Barley with lemons and Chia Seeds and own herbal tea mixture. And my own small little spoon.. Every morning I done my water with barley, water with spiruluna mixed with chlorella and water with lemon and Chia Seeds... At the partner days day I rushed out of the room not to be late and that was the last time I have seen my spoon. It was from a set we got as a wedding gift, that what pissed me of. A call to the reception and another the next day plus two emails back and forth between the front desk and me did generate only a polite reply they are searching and that noone from the staff does remember to take it from the hotel.. So this thing ruined my stay and 3 stars only, sorry for that guys, the principle should be, You never remove something from the room, that You are not authorized to.

I only spent one night here as an alternative to paying the ridiculous prices charged by hotels in Copenhagen, but I was very glad that I did. I arrived from the Danish island of Bornholm via a ferry to Ystad (Sweden) and a train from there, which arrived at the convenient Hyllie station just down the road from the hotel, with the intention of heading into Copenhagen the next day after a night at this hotel. The whole process couldn't have been easier or more convenient - as I said, Malmo hotels offer a cheaper alternative to hotels in Copenhagen. My room was small, but with a very comfortable large single bed in which I slept VERY well, and all the conveniences I needed. The staff were also all very friendly. There's a Sky Bar on the top floor (16th I think) which offers great views over the surrounding area. But the breakfast buffet was amazing, with countless choices, great for setting you up for a hard day of sightseeing! Even including the cost of the train across to Copenhagen, I saved so much money by getting a great rate at this comfortable hotel rather than choosing a Copenhagen hotel. Highly recommended.

Good hotel for visiting Malmo, Emporia shopping mall, sportscenter and....Copenhagen. Convinient location near railwaystation to go to Copenhagen airport and Copenhagen city Friendly staff, nice breakfast. And...............bikes to rent. Dont forget to visit the roof of Emporia and the waterpark of watertower.

Stayed here for one night in a ordinary double room. The rooms are nice and clean and with a great view if you get a room high in the building. If you don't you can go up to the skybar in the 16th floor which have a very nice view and some nice beverages. The breakfast was good, different sorts of bread, eggs and bacon (boiled and scrambled) and some different toppings. Could have been a bit more selection but it definately does the job. All in all a nice stay at a reasonable price.

Good location 5 mins from train station which serves copenhagen airport crossing over oresund bridge. rooms clean, well furnished, if alittle small. Food good for breakfast and lunch. Skytop bar on 16th floor has great views of oresund bridge. Is just across the strteet from emporia, a huge shopping mall. All staff friendly and helpful

Good business hotel situated a few meters from Malmo Hyllie train station and the Emporia Shopping center. Clean, comfortable hotel with good facilities and an amazing decor. The skybar which is situated on the last floor has an amazing panoramic view of Hyllie. The conference rooms are well equipped with good free wifi recep0tion throughout the hotel. The Breakfast Buffet offers a large variety of food.

Standard business hotel, clean and design. Nice view from the rooms looking west towards the Oresund bridge. Good breakfast. 3 minutes walk from the Hyllie train station. Small gym and sauna. Bike rental (not free). Very nice sky bar on 16th floor.

Arrived in the Hotel late at night but had a perfect service and affordable room to the opposite of searching 3h for a room in Kopenhagen! Took the train from Kopenhagen to Malmö it was a great impression by night and awaken in the morning and did the tour back was even nicer. The Art in front of the Hotel Face with spewing water is a must see in the night and in the morning because of the different colors. The Hotel itself had a great room a amazing breakfast and friendly guys at the reception and at Breakfast. I will come again, just to see more of Malmö!

Spotless, modern, very comfy. Breakfast lovely. Communal areas are lovely. The location is extremely convenient as Hyllie Train station five mins walk away. Top tip is to stay here if visiting Copenhagen as we did. Short train journey away and so much cheaper. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you to all the staff!

A good hotel, nice and comfortable for business. Perhaps not so much for vacation. Only 5 minute walk from Hyllie station. Long lines for check in, fast check in only works if booked directly with the hotel. The room has tea and coffee making facilities although no room service. The sky bar on the top floor offers nice views of the area including the Öresund bridge.

A nice, clean hotel with very comfortable beds and good breakfast with a lot of variety. Also good options for for persons with special diets (gluten-free, dairy-free). The gym was small but new, and the sauna was great. Would highly recommend.

A group of four stayed in single rooms for one night and we all thought this was absolutely great and very good value for the price. Nice with a roof top bar and gym and sauna to use for guests. The breakfast was stunning with so much to choose from and all was very fresh and felt as good quality. The room was small but bed felt really good and bathroom nice and all very clean. Nice with kettle in the room and possibility to make Tea or coffee. Will stay there again when in Malmö next time. Note though that if you want to be down town Malmö and don't have a car it might be better to stay closer to down town.

Nicely located by the Hyllie station at the swedish border, very convenient for thsoe having businees around. Rooms small but well equipped, clean and fully soundproofed with only inconvenient that you cannot ventilate the room. Breakfast presented as expceptional..was quite basic to me compared to offer in other hotels in Helsingborg, but all availbale products very fresh. Coffee not very tatsty. Friendly staff both at receptioin and Skaj bar with a nice veiw.

The place has no character, the seating area near reception was unused...dirty and so cold from the revolving door. The rooms are tiny, very cold then too hot with a non opening window, no wardrobe or drawers just wire hangers on wall pegs. No English TV channels. Menu very limited and evening staff more interested in talking to each other than their customers. No room service available. Sky bar would not allow drinks to be taken to your room. Breakfast better, great selection but no table space unless you shared. My advise is try somewhere else.

The Arena is a good hotel for business in the Hyllie area of Malmo. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the WiFi good and the breakfasts are also good. One notable feature is the Sky Bar which has great views and good beer. A good if slightly anonymous hotel.

Close walk to station easy to get to the center and close to the shopping centre across the road. You can hire bikes for 50kr for the day. The breakfast is good and they always refill. Breakfast is cleared at 9:30am but you can stay to finish breakfast and get coffee or drinks. they also have ice and water in the hall so you can fill up before you leave.

Very convenient for the arena, Shopping mall and a short walk from Hyllie Station with direct service to Malmo and CPH airport. Sky bar makes a nice location for a beer or to watch sport. Adequate breakfast. Quiet rooms. Fast WiFi. One point, don't expect food if you arrive on a Sunday. During weekdays the shopping mall opposite has a food hall with plenty of choices and a couple of supermarkets.

First stop off of our Scandi driving holiday. Easy to reach from the airport, and really reasonable rates, unless you buy a drink in the bar! Breakfast a little different from what I'm used to, but there was plenty to choose from.

The location is great if you travel from Copenhagen Airport or will visit for some event at the fair or Malmö Arena. You will also find the big shopping mall Emporia in the area. The hotel is pretty new so it's still nice and clean and the sky bar at the hotel has a nice view where you enjoy a drink and maybe watch some some sport event on the screens. The rooms i have been in have all been clean and the quality is pretty ok, nothing special but for sleeping 1-2 nights it's more then ok. The breakfast is more then ok, everything is fresh and there is plenty to choose from! The hotel has a restaurant also and you will also find some fast food places at Hyllie station (3-4min walk) inside the mall Emporia you will find some more choices and 2 of them are located at the entrance and longer opening times. This is a good choice if you are traveling from Copenhagen since it's just 1 train station from the Airport, it's also just 1 or 2 stations into central Malmö. A taxi ride to the other airport on the swedish side (Sturup/Malmö Airport) is roughly 25-30 minutes.

Found this hotel by accident. Malmoe arena is a bit further out from Malmoe than desired however communications are good. Friendly and efficient staff, new hotel with new rooms that are extremely clean and comfortable. Easy to park your car (although a bit expensive). Very good breakfast buffet and a nice dinning area. The Skybar is a plus although a bit small. For the price you won't find anything better in Malmoe if you can cope with its location.

This hotel is a very good hotel, clean, friendly staff and comfy beds. Free WIFI is also included. I was there on a business trip and for me the hotel was brilliant, also have a very nice skybar on level 12. Breakfast buffet was amazing, it was so fresh and you could find whatever you needed, gluten free, lactose free, LCHF etc etc.

I was in Malmö in January, and needed a room for the night. Via a fast search on hotels.com I found this hotel, and I was all the money worth. The hotel is still smelling like its new build, and the interior is very modern and stylish. I got a room at the 12'th floor, and could also enjoy a lovely view over Malmö. The room had everything I needed for a night, and i was satisfied. The breakfast at the restaurant was also good. My recommendations: Visit the "skajbar" at the 16'th floor - good service, view and place to enjoy a cold local beer. Things they can do better: The Parking is to expensive, and I was sent to park at the nearby parking house for the Emporia mall. This is the only reason why I not give this hotel 5 stars.

This hotel is classy and modern, until you get to the rooms. Honestly, stay at the brand new (just opened January 2016) Quality Hotel down the street for a more spacious room at about the same price. This was a clean, sophisticated place, but tiny. PROS of Best Western: The staff and bartenders are wonderful--very helpful and friendly. Location is great if you want to be close to the Arena or commuting to Copenhagen (the train station is down the street). The hotel is newer, so it's very clean and the lobby is modern and sleek. The biggest mall in Scandinavia is down the street, and there are buses that also pass out in front. Breakfast is great. The rooms are spotless. Water pressure is excellent, and the hot water always worked well. Plenty of outlets in the room. CONS of Best Western: The whole design is bizarre. I don't understand why a room that is TINY would also neglect to have any shelves or anything where our items could be placed. For example, in the bathroom, the shower is a 2' x 2' area in the corner where you struggle to wash off without flooding the whole hotel room, but there are no shelves to put any toiletries...so all your bath products are on the floor which is already so small you barely have room to stand. The shower "doors" are push open glass "doors" that don't have a solid seal, so the whole bathroom floor is flooded when you turn on the water. This makes things tricky because the toilet and sink are literally on top of the shower area, so you are bound to have wet feet if anyone just showered. There is no fridge. Two people cannot stand between the end of the bed and the wall of the room (not the side of the bed, I mean the end of the bed). Every room was this small. The internet was slow and didn't always work. The beds were terrible--two full size mattresses pushed together to make a king bed, and the mattresses always moved away from each other during the night (I fell through the crack). There is no room service available. Not enough room for your luggage (if you travel frequently for long amounts of time and have more than one suitcase).

This hotel is fairly new build, it's handy for Malmö and the Arena plus the surrounding Hyllie Station. The bar and restaurant are good and the Sky Bar is great too with views, sports and beer! Rooms are comfy but do not have any drinks making facilities plus they are functional and sparse but modern and comfy.

The hotel is located opposite to the Malmo Massan which is very convenient. It is easy to reach from Copenhagen Airport (Kastrup), both by car or by train. The train station is 200 meters away and will take you within 15 minutes to the airport. The breakfast buffet was good and the staff was friendly. The thing I didn't like was the bed; very hard and my joints ached next morning, which started way too early as the TV automatically and unplanned switched on at 6AM, waking me up with the message: Welcome Mr S.

Good hotel with nice view over the city of Malmö and the sea/bridge over Oresund. Breakfast buffet is quite good. Hotel is next door to the arena, well known for Hockey , Ice show, Concerts and misc. events

Stayed here one night to catch a bus just out front at hyllie station which is a 2 min walk, also only two stops from city centre. WiFi in the room as well as a nice TV and good channels. The morning breakfast was delicious and lots to choose from!

The hotel is just 21 minutes by rental car from copenhagen airport and this is just a short drive. You will have to pass the crossing toll bridge but the pass is including in the car rental if you rent with Hertz Copenhagen. Localized in the center of Malmo this hotel offers a quick check in service and the rooms so well positioned that you have a balcony overlooking the city. It depends on which floor you are. For the floor i was on number 10 this was nice. There is a shopping mall just a few minutes walk and a parking area which is 24/7 open. The downside is that it is paid parking. The hotel also have parking but these are usually full because of a lot of business people on travel.

New 16 story hotel with tiny rooms. Awful beds, very hard and narrow, 80 cm, with a top mattress that just wants to slide of the bottom mattress. Also there is no queen size or king size beds just rooms with two of the forementioned awful 80cm beds. The beds are just pushed togheter with nothing holding them together. No minibar, no coffe or tea, in the room. I have roughley 100 hotelnights in a year and usually have no problem sleeping in different beds but this bed was soooo horrible

This hotel is out of central Malmo. Best suited if going to the Arena or the shopping centre. We understood there was parking but it was full up - it seems you can't book in advance so we were sent to a large external carpark which was a nightmare to get out of and find the hotel again. Rooms average. Reasonable choice at breakfast. Not really up to the same standards as other Best Western's I have stayed in which is a pity as it is a new hotel so should be high standard.

Quite new and good hotel with cosy rooms. The rooms are very clean and well equipped. The hotel is located in 5min walk from railway station (20min from Copenhagen) and the biggest shopping center. Breakfast is served from 7:30 till 10:30 and it's quite good. So strongly recommend this hotel. They also have a rooftop bar with the incredible view!

This hotel is conveniently close to the airport in Copenhagen (just one station away) and in easy walking distance from the train station. The room are modern and meet the needs of a business traveler, clean sheets, hot shower and a good wifi. The selection of restaurants is great due to the proximity to the Emporia shopping center.

This is a new hotel next to the Malmo Arena. Great location, adjacent to the shopping mall and 50 meters from the Hyllie train station. Easy access to and from Copenhagen as well - 15 min train from Copenhagen airport. Great breakfast, nice sky bar on the 16th floor and a functional gym. Restaurant also offers lunch and dinner and also a walking distance to other restaurants in the area. Room could be a bit larger with a real closet rather than the current two hooks on the wall with hangers... Shower could have more counter space. It would have been nice to have coffee in the room and a fridge. Overall though convenient and comfortable.

Regularly stay here on business as its convenient to get to/from CPH. Hotel is difficult to find, but once there check in is normally quick. Clean and basic rooms, but comfy beds. would be nice to have instructions in English too i.e how to work the aircon, but small issues solved with the help of Google. Would stay again

This hotel is terrible! Brand new contstructuon generally means that you will expect something clean, comfortable and exciting. This hotel was none of this. The rooms were extremely tiny, poorly finished and not well equipped. No coffee machine, but then again there would be no room for one. There was barely enough space for our suitcases. Windows that were small as well with no view. A hot tub that is not heated. NOT RECOMMENDED

My Husband and I visited Malmo for a family wedding. We spent 5 nights here and each one was fantastic! The staff were very helpful and very easy to get along with! The hotel is very close to public transport - about 150 metres. Across the road from the hotel is a big shopping mall with loads of good clothing stores and plenty of options for coffee and food. The rooms in the hotel were very clean and comfortable! All in all - we will definitely return if we ever head back to Malmo :)

Great hotel from a price/cleanliness/design perspective - actually kind of cool Easily accessible within walking distance from train station just one stop from CPH airport Rooms small but very clean and comfortable, somewhat recognizable home furnishing competence, I liked it! Staff not mentionable or just for the wrong reasons: 1) Front Desk agent promised to call me back to let me know if she was able to find a cable I searched for - she never did call me back. At least call me and tell me "Sorry soir, no cable for you..." 2) Restaurant wait staff (EXCELLENT meatballs by the way - EXCELLENT) didn't allow me to sit in the Bar area for dinner on 2nd night as "we don't serve dinner here", while I ate there the night before and people were sitting/eating all around me and tables were available...wanted me to sit in some dark corner next to a huge dinner party, I walked out, I guess hotel restaurants make money these days??? 3) Front Desk agent at check-out argued with me that I already had a copy of my invoice (he was right, I got some small credit card slip upon check-in, didn't realize that this was the invoice), but why argue with a guest, just re-print the paper and don't let a guest leave with a bad impression - stupid behavior...

This is a very nice hotel, ideal for business trips in the area. I stayed for 3 nights and was very pleased. The hotel is quite new, modern in its design and very clean and tidy. It's located in Hyllie, a quite industrial Malmø suburb close to the bridge of Øresund and Copenhagen. The railway station is close by, and the train to Malmø City takes 7 minutes. With Emporia, Malmø's biggest shopping center, as the next door neighbor, shopping is excellent. My room was quite small, but nice with a very good bed and well insulated window, hence not a sound from outside. There is no water boiler or coffee in the room, but coffee and tea is available at all times in the restaurant on the ground floor. The breakfast buffet is good but not extravagant, with typical Swedish high quality ingredients to choose from. The staff is very competent, friendly and helpful. I have visited many BW hotels around the world, and I rank this as one of the best. It was built in 2015, so yes it's very clean and kept clean. Please continue to maintain it this way, as I plan to re-visit soon.

The hotel is new and clean and delivers good basics. The location is in the middle of no-where, but its easy to get to Malmo. Just be aware that at check-in your credit card is being charged - you pay, and you're not just given an authorisation to reserve the payment at check-out. If you leave earlier than planned, its a big fuss to get your money back for the nights you cancel, even when you respect the cancelation rules. The whole experience just leaves you as a customer with a feeling of being cheated, and disappointment.

From Copenhagen Denmark, we got on the wrong freeway, a long, long bridge from Denmark to Sweden. After paying the $85 in Kroon, we ended up on the main street in central Malmo, and inquired about a room. The manager was so very friendly and gave us a very nice room on the second floor, breakfast included. We spent the day walking around and looking over the city, castle and churches. Had a great dinner, and went back over the bridge (another $85) and went back to Denmark.

Stayed at this hotel for 6 days 5 nights. I enjoyed my stay there. Room was small, cosy and clean. Bed was very comfortable. I had good night sleep and woke up feeling refreshed everyday. Hotel staff were friendly and polite. I also love the breakfast buffet. Even the simple food served at the buffet such as bread and muesli tasted good. Apparently the food were carefully selected by a celebrity chef in Sweden. The hotel is also conveniently located near the Hyllie train station, Presbyrån convenient store and Emporia shopping mall (about 5 minutes walk from the hotel).

hotel is located across from the Malmö shopping mall. Next to a supermarket and right outside the train station (Hyllie). Really convenient and comfortable! Good breakfast and good service Comfortable room too!

The Hotel is a bit hard to find. Normally one would look for the Best Western sign, an in this case the sign is very tiny, an located at the very rear end of big "building". Now the Parking. A bit of the expensive side and is located in the middle of the Building, through a very small anonymous entrance. You can check in by a machine in the lobby, but in my case my booking number didn't work. The room on the 9th had a great view! Large bathroom comfortable bed and flatscreen. No Frige No Coffee facilities. Great food and service in restaurant for dinner. Breakfast average. Okay Hotel, but would probably look for something less "cold"
