Best Western Plus Los Mochis

I stayed there twice, either end of my Chepe Express train journey. Excellent central location and very friendly and helpful staff, especially in dealing with the tail end of Hurricane Norma and printing off my boarding pass for my flight back to CDMX. Highly recommended.

We checked in and all was fine. I paid for a suite which was big with two rooms in room 600. The beds are good to sleep and a little light comes in. The shower had a knob half missing and the extractor of the bathroom smoke would come out. The towel bar was broken. Then our stay became very terrible. They started construction on Friday morning at 8am and didn't finish till 7pm. We thought it was just a day but No till today when we checked out they were still working on the hallways. All we got was a sorry and that the front desk would tell the general manager about the situation which I really doubt. They didn't have the decency to tell us that they would be working on a weekend and less move us to a different floor. Horrible Administration

Room was nice and clean, over looked a park across the street. Neighbourhood seemed safe, park had a number of carts etc setup with people enjoying them selves in evening. Hotel was clean and nice. Good stay.

We always feel welcomed to this hotel. The staff are ALL amazing. It's great to have a restaurant onsite. They also have a great checkout time. The location is perfect. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Hi guys. I booked with Best western because I love them and my little brother was on his travels to meet his family. My brother was on a 4 day driving trip from Victoria Canada to Puerto Vallarta (son was born in Puerto Vallarta Mexico, wife is Columbian. I had booked him trips for 3 nights via hotels.com and when I booked the Best Western Plus Los Mochis, suddenly the booking dates were defaulted to 'one day advance'. I had been used to booking that day and the hotel was( ready, suddenly, when my brother arrived in Mexico, it defaulted to the next day (I did not notice). Anyhow, I thought it was an easy fix and when hotels.com called the Best Western Hotel in Los Mochis, the manager and front desk guy said "No" to changing the date from tomorrow to today. It was non refundable and they would not allow the change, even though they were the ones making an extra days rent from the room?? It was just pure ignorance. I would never in my life imagine doing this to someone! It was booked and their answer of "NO" given back in less than 20 Minutes!!! What can you say about the hotel if they can't make a simple "No problem, it was an honest mistake," So, I won't rag on them as the manager or person at the front desk, today, may have just been the 'Jerk' but I was totally taken back; I just booked less than 10 minutes ago and my brother called to say the hotel said it was for the next day! Yet, they would not let him change it? What does that say of their character? Or maybe it was just the character of the guy working on November 16th, 2021? Just disappointed and usually my votes for Best Western are a 5/5.

Spent 1 night and found the hotel to be of BW'Plus' standard. Very surprised to learn after booking that breakfast was NOT included. We paid over $109CAD for the night. We've stayed a several BW 'Plus' hotels in the U.S. for less money that included breakfast.

What more can you ask for when staying at this hotel. The location of the hotel is pretty good. The rooms very clean and the people at reception are very knowledgeable. Also the rooms were spacious. You cannot ask for more when staying in this hotel.

I always stayed at this hotel during my visit for the holidays. Last two times the rooms were not clean, the carpet had a really bad smell and black stains everywhere. Last visit between the really bad smell of the carpet and the food we had at the restaurant we all got very sick. We brought it to the front desk attention and they said they were sorry and management was aware of the issue. Next time we will stay at other hotel.

We have stayed here 3-4 times over the last year or so and always enjoy our stay. Friendly reception, very comfortable room, convenient to shops, services, and outside restaurants. We often eat in their restaurant because it's easy after a long day on the road and have never had a bad dinner or breakfast. Although I can manage in Spanish, most of the staff speaks better English than my Spanish and we have never had a problem with communication.

This was our first stop on our way to "Copper Canyon" The hotel is in a great location in Mochis, just around the corner is a grat seafodd restaurant "El Farallon" . The hotel is a modern building with a friendly staff. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Had breakfast on Sunday and the meal did not dissapoint. I would recommend this hotel for your next visit to Los Mochis.

We stayed at the BW Los Mochis during our attendance at a conference. The hotel is modern, clean a nicely appointed. The front desk staff could be a bit friendlier, but they were helpful and efficient. The bell staff were friendly and helpful. The bar was well stocked and the wait staff friendly, but there was smoking in the bar so we spent minimal time there. The restaurant was good and the service was very good. The rooms were roomy, clean and nicely furnished. The bed was comfortable. The free high speed internet worked well and the smart TV was a nice touch.

An otherwise good hotel - BUT- my problem was the bed. After all, why do you pay for a hotel? A good night's sleep, right? Well after the first two hours, my back was in pain and discomfort all night. And the next day. Just can't go further with that / a very bad experience - hard bed - no rest.

Best Western Los Mochis Five stars accommodation at this maedium size city. For us it was a place to rest after the Chepe train ride. It is well located a the Center of the city beside the botanical garden. Perfectly clean and spacious room. The restaurant was also very good and not too expensive.

Very family friendly, location is great friendly staff. Great experience overall. Breakfast high in price with limited option I would look around for other options. One dislike is parking is open to the public and may cause trouble to the guests when looking for an open space.

The shower knobs are reversed-you will wait forever for hot water if you follow the standard, They knew in reception so the question is whether BW inspects its franchisees. Other than that glitch BW is as predictable as a Holiday Inn.Like it or don't

Spent the night after getting off the ferry from La Paz. Super hotel with attentive staff. Breakfast was not included but was to die for. Parking lot was well lite and secure. Very limited English speaking TV channels.

Lovely hotel with higher than expected standards, Staff are professional, friendly and courteous. It offers a small pool, gym, bar and restaurant. We enjoyed our lunch in the restaurant; service was prompt and attentive. The hotel is well located in centre of Los Mochis. We stayed overnight before catching the Chepe Train, a short taxi ride from the hotel

Cost, room and location was great. Food was average in taste and variety. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Would stay there again. Cleanliness of facility was excellent and service in restaurant was excellent.

Generally good, but as usual at this hotel, there is always something... This time the TV did not work. The TV would turn on but it was set to the AV1 input. The buttons on the remote were so worn that it was impossible to find the "input" button. No buttons on the TV itself. In any event, I didn't need it and had zero faith the staff would do anything, so I did not mention it to the front desk.

This is a great hotel and the service is great, I will stay again and I will recommend to everyone to stay here.great service, great food, spacious rooms and bathrooms, and shower is wonderful, great price too!!!

I was checking in and there was two girls and a guy working the front desk. All were talking amongs themselves until 20 seconds later a third girl came out and acknowledged me. I couldn't believe it probably because I looked like a local but that was not it. They gave me the keys and never told me what the hotel had to offer. The bellboy was the only nice person I came across through my whole trip. We would pass through the lobby and NEVER got a Hola or anything. That didn't really make me feel welcome at all. The rooms and amenities is why I gave it 3 stars. I have stayed at a couple of hoteles in Mochis and this by far the worst Customer service.

Excellent service and very clean hotel. Excellent location . The breakfast buffet was very good! The service was superb! very friendly staff. I really like the location. It was very close to downtown and all shops including the theater.

We stayed at the Best Western which was wonderful and the best place we have stayed in Los Mochis. It was modern, and extrememly clean. The bedrooms were very large and well appointed. The bed was a little firm but the sheets and bedding were very good. The room did not have a refrig but the hotel had a small one sent to our room. Be sure to ask in advance for this as I know there are a limited # available. With the number of people who were staying at the BW for weddings, we still did not hear noise. The staff was very professional and helpful. I certainly will try this again; however not sure that they will permit pets as my dog will be traveling with me next time. Need to check this out in advance. Though breakfast did not come with the room, the one buffet offered was very good.

We totally enjoyed the hotel and the amenities that were provided. However we were very surprized that the breakfast only included a voucher for 1 person. We were not told this prior to completing and asking for the cheque.

Good value but the place stank of smoke. Despite booking a non smoking room and the hotel being non smoking the whole place smelled like an old casino with the smell of cigarettes emanating from everywhere, including our room. Woke up stinking of cigarettes! Not nice - really need to improve things...

It is a good and clean hotel, good location, the rooms are big and comfortable. The mattress needs to be changed in a few months but otherwise it is good. The buffet is very good. I feel this hotel is more of a business type hotel. Might be a bit more expensive then other hotels but sometimes it is better to pay a bit more.

Rooms are ok...a litttle bit out dated, but are ok. The restaurant is very good and you have access to nice restaurants around the hotel. Staff is very nice and helpful. Buffet is very good for breakfeast.

I really like the location of the hotel and i will comeback but i think its a little bit expensive The room its very clean and the staff friendly! i dont have the chance of try the restaurant but it looks very good

Great stop over city on our way to Puerto Vallarta. Found this place on Trip Advisor and decided to try. Great hotel in great location. Hotel is modern and clean with very helpful staff. Several speak English. Across from city park/plaza where a lot happen. This evening teenage singer we're in competition and the plaza was full of vendors and local people. Very pleasant evening. Highly recommend this location.

I had a 2 night stay for business and the BW met all my needs. The sheets and bedding were clean and the bathroom was a decent size and well maintained. I had a package that included the excellent breakfast buffet - made to order omelets, fresh fruit, baked goods, and more- the one drawback is that the breakfast doesn't start until 7am, but overall a good choice.

Comfortable hotel/unhelpful front desk. Hotel is average. Beds are a little stiff Hotel host did not even try to get sell more water bottles, just a plain no. We did not used the restaurant, so I cannot comment on that.

Conveniently located in Los Mochis city, with a beatiful park where you can go out jogging all day long, this hotel has been a real surprise. Rooms are clean and very spacious, quiet and equipped with aircon. Bed quality is excellent too. Breakfast in the morning served in the main restaurant room and it offers a variety of foods from both the mexican tradition as well as the continental typical brekfast. I would definitely go back should I have the chance to return to Ls mochis

The hotel is clean within central Los Mochis location, not the best service but average, finishings in the rooms hallways are not so good you can feel the hallway carpet floor bad levelled has a park in front the hotel, parking is free! also wifi

This hotel is across the street from the Town Square and Church, which is the heart of any Mexican Town. Very alive and full of Mexican culture! There are several restaurants in the area and a grocery store which is handy. The hotel is clean with free wifi and parking, both amenities are greatly appreciated. They have a lovely outdoor pool area and the restaurant staff was efficient and very tolerant of our late arrival, gracias! Food was standard hotel fair, good, not fancy. Overall, this is a great find, clean, great location, and very good helpful staff.

When I arrived with a the large group to the hotel I was confident my reservation would be ready. It wasn't. That was not the biggest problem, it got solved the next morning. The ATTITUDE of the front desk was deplorable. Although I showed them my expedia confirmation, the staff couldn't find it and blamed me for using expedia. The staff finally offered me two suites, at a higher price. It was late and there are no other family friendly hotels nearby, so we took the rooms. Next morning the morning shift admitted they had made a mistake and respected my previous reservation. We got a pair of suites for the price of two average rooms. I expected no less after their original attitude and their mistake. Moral of the story, confirm with the hotel, not only with expedia, that everything is OK. The rooms, like last time, were clean, and ample. This time extra ample, as the suites have a living room and kitchenette. Air conditioning worked well, a must at Los Mochis most of the year.

I was in room 314 which is dressed with 2 queen-size beds. The room has a large window that offers a view of the front garden. Quite and clean room. Elevators cannot be heard and front garden secures enough room between room and the street so that cars cannot be heard either. Hotel is at walking distance from the El Farallon restaurant. It's a visit that must be paid!

Great location, nice rooms, and food good. But the front desk staff when I checked in were not very welcoming and were far from friendly. For $1600 pesos I expected more in customer service. I was disappointed.

We were extremely happy to find this beautiful hotel after a hard day of driving ! The room was large, the bed very comfortable, and the restaurant had excellent food. The staff was very considerate and helpful ! We would highly recommend this hotel !

This is a good venue for the visitor wanting to be in the center of the city. However, if just passing through to the border, it is a distance from the highway and not easy to find, at least for us. The rooms are spacious, modern, clean and pleasant. No refrigerators, but ice is available. Restaurant is good. We thought it to be somewhat pricey, but you are in the city. The best is the staff who were more than generous and willing to assist. We especially appreciated Vilma and Melissa and their assistance in helping us as we left Los Mochis.

I stayed for 4 days at this hotel and it was well-located in the city of Los Mochis. Rooms are spacious and modern, the A/C was nice and cool, big TV, nice bathrooms with big showers and very nice bath products. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food in the restaurant and I had breakfast daily and I also had dinner one night here due to the convenience. Portions were generous and very nicely presented. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and they were very efficient at both check-in and check-out. This hotel is geared to buisness travelers and their needs, but just an overall good hotel for those looking for a comfortable clean room to spend the night!

Very good location close to all major shopping and commercial areas. Los Mochis is a fairly small city so everything is kind of close except for the industrial zones that are out of the city limits. The hotel feels kind of new and is very well maintained staff is helpful in general though a little narrow minded when it comes to special requests (i.e. Changing items on the included breakfast, turning the volume down on the tv of the bar since I was the only one there) other than that great place to stay while in Mochis, beds are confortable food is good location is excelent and the prices are reasonable.
