Best Western The Inn of Los Gatos

We are long time Marriott Bonvoy members and would typically stay in a hotel that is part of the Bonvoy family using our Bonvoy points. However, on this trip we felt the $129/night rate at Best Western was a much better deal that using our points to stay within the Bonvoy system. This was a risk because our Bonvoy properties are usually very nice. It turned out it was no risk at all. The room was very nicely decorated, very clean, and had a great shower. Parking was directly in front of my room. We were both very impressed with Best Western. Also, the hidden benefit of the hotel is that it shared the parking lot with Asa Restaurant, a Michelin rated restaurant that is surprisingly affordable and a treat not to be missed. You can make your hotel and dinner reservations at the same time.

Great location, clean room, fabulous breakfast... The view out of our room was just OK, but most rooms have a much better view. I was pleasantly suprised by the location, close to downtown and right near the freeway. Good restaurants nearby.

Recommended Hotel in good location in Los Gatos town. Goo morning breakfest for all, great value for money, service is fast and accureate. any queestion is answered quickly with no problems at all, any time.

If one is looking for a great place to stay for very reasonable price. Best Western is it. Love the fresh breakfast! The rooms are clean with with great set of toiletries. parking is free, close to freeways. Great staff, polite and very helpful!

It is an excellent hotel with a perfect location, close to the road but at the same time quiet. They had an excellent breakfast buffet with eggs, sausages, and a great salsa. The customer service was friendly.

Clean, good accommodations, reasonably priced with self serve breakfast included. The decor was thoughtfully updated in the lobby. The rooms had a sense of updated attention, yet not a complete picture! As a group; 3 separate rooms the ability to gather in the lobby/breakfast area was a plus.

Very nice and clean, nice staff, you can't sleep from the noise from the parking and the rooms around you, specially if you book the first floor. AC unit is loud and the water pressure is low. Over all if you care about good sleep don't book it

Excellent breakfast. easy access all it off the freeway. The room in the refrigerator was wonderful. Would have been nice to have a little freezer inside the refrigerator. The beds were extremely comfortable.

The hotel is in the right place. New place since our stay in Los Gatos 47 years ago. Will try Los Gatos Inn next time. Restaurant on sight but not open and no signs as to when it is open. Other shops are built on sight and are empty.

After two flights and an Uber ride, we arrived at the Best Western at 2:34 PM, ready to check in and get something to eat. At this time, we are told that the room is ready, but they have a new police that if you check in before 3 PM, they have a $20 early check in fee. Not a problem we will drop the luggage and go eat at the restaurant and come back after three. NOPE: The restaurant is closed and open at 5 PM. OK. You got me. Hope you enjoyed it as I will not be back for more.

Very clean rooms, tasty and healthy breakfast is served between 7am - 10am. Friendly, efficient staff. 2 electric car chargers by lobby. My husband and I attended a concert at Mountain Winery and stayed here afterward. We would definitely stay here again. The parking lot was filled with cars . I saw plenty of business and trades people at breakfast, along with a few other concert goers.

Bed was comfortable. I had a cold shower tho as the hot water was on cold setting and vice versa, with no note to tell me that. Also there was s lot of light coming in the wooden blinds. I would have appreciated a dark out shade as well as the blinds. Noise from guests in the pool was VERY loud and as we had to get up at 4:00 a.m. we were not able to get sufficient rest. We also would have appreciated an in room microwave. All in all it was an OK stay, not a good stay.

Went for my sons wedding. The hotel accommodated us very well. Rooms were spacious enough. Fit 8 groomsmen, the groom and dad in one to get ready then let us all hang out in the lobby until time to go

Standard two double beds, a little small for 4 people but we made it work. Stayed 2 nights. Was quiet even though our room was on first floor near pool. Check in was easy. Reception area bright, clean, and breakfast was amazing for such a small space. Would say the rooms are nothing special but the breakfast was really nice, 5 stars. For a small breakfast counter space, they put out a nice fresh spread, waffles, french toasts, sausages, eggs, bacon, cereals, oatmeal packets, yogurt, fresh fruits (strawberries and blueberries!!) bananas, apples, melons, and more. Good coffee. Would highly recommend this place of you need an ok clean room but want a good breakfast.

I was very pleased with your clean, friendly Inn. The small fridge was useful, as was the magnifying mirror and coffee maker. The comfy beds, choice of pillows, fresh breakfast all added up to a pleasant stay for our family event in Los Gatos.

This is probably the nicest best western I have ever been to. The room was comfortable and clean and quiet. The breakfast was delicious with all kinds of fruit. I had a banana, strawberries, blueberries, pineapple and honeydew melon. The other standard breakfast items were there, also. They even had a J-1772 chargers for my EV and I was able to charge my car for free.

Everything was very clean and very well done. Your breakfast was wonderful. The room was very accommodating. So was the bathroom. Everyone was very helpful . We would recommend this place . We really enjoyed our stay there.

Regeena at the front desk was amazing, a total pro! The hotel was sold out yet she handled my check in, and many others, with ease and a friendly smile on her face. I was impressed! The hotel is clean, in a safe area, and offered a free basic breakfast all at a reasonable nightly price. I would definitely stay here again when passing through Los Gatos. 5 Stars for Regeena, and this hotel!

Clean room and good breakfast, good location. Quiet, close to Santa Cruz. The area is safe. Staff are nice and friendly. Reasonable price for the area. I ll come back here and recommend this place.

The staff is friendly and the rooms are good. However, we've gone to this particular hotel quite a bit, the staff don't seem to have a way recognize returning guests. On our last visit, we needed to check in early only to find out there would be a$20 charge to check in early. As a return guest, I find this offensive. It was not because there were no rooms ready yet, it was because of the new charge. We did not check in early and had to come back at 9pm to check in instead of being able to go to our room right away. This adding fees is becoming a standard in the industry and I find it offensive especially as a returning guest.

Very convenient location, great service, clean rooms and common areas, and excellent breakfast options (the eggs with salsa were top tier). Perla and Regeena were incredibly welcoming and hospitable, we will definitely stay here again!

The hotel is always clean, well appointed, with professional and friendly staff! We always stay here when we travel to the South Bay to visit family. The beds are very comfortable and super clean. Looking forward to our next visit in a few weeks!

Comfortable and spacious room, modern hotel, great location and proximity to local restaurants. I will stay there again during my next visit to the Bay Area. I went to the restaurant next door which was an amazing experience. I later learnt that the restaurant received a Michelin reward in 2021. Highly recommend.

This is a high recommend. One of the better Best Westerns I've stayed at. Great customer experience from the front office. Breakfast was above average with multiple fresh fruit options, scrambled eggs, fresh salsa, bacon, hashbrowns, and more! Location was nice with a great restaurant on the same lot as the hotel. I stayed once with my dog and once without. There's not a good dog run area but there's plenty of grass next door.

We had a wonderful stay at the Best Western Inn of Los Gatos. The hotel was clean, the room was comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very well done, we really enjoyed it and could tell a lot of love and care was put into it. The hotel was also nice stroll to downtown. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely return.

Had made reservations the night before check-in only to find out that most of Los Gatos and surrounding hotels had been without power for 3-days. Alternate solutions were limited as there was a conference in downtown San Jose and rooms were sold out. To top things off, the heavy rains had displaced many residents in the Santa Cruz mountains. Faced with limited options, Alice the property General Manager was extremely helpful in providing flexibility for us to find another hotel or stay at the BW Los Gatos. Luckily, power was restored about 7:30pm right as we drove back in. Needless to say, our stay was extremely pleasant and low stress. Many thanks to Alice and her team!

We arrived late in the evening and the staff were very welcoming and informative. Our room was clean but didn't smell the best and was very cold when we first entered. They always say that first impressions are very important so perhaps it would be a good idea to walk the guests to the room, especially if it is late and cold outside, to ensure that the room is presented as well as you would want it to be for your guests.

Nice room, comfortable bed,, clean. TV hard to operate. Needs written directions. Easy check in. Front desk noisy at night and in the morning. Noise travels upstairs. Convenient location to restaurants and hospitals.

This is a very nice place to stay. On of the best breakfasts that I have ever had. They use actual China and silverware, where at other places they use paperplates and plastic ware. The dining area is not that big, though.

We were in a bottom floor room. At 3:30 pm furniture was being moved, vacume running and walking noise from upstairs. There is no sound barrier between the floors. We were trying to rest. At 1 A.M. Firecrackers were launched into the center parking area and woke everyone up. Sounded like gunfire at first. Couldn't go back to sleep after that! The breakfast area remodel is very nice but very small, food is good. Front desk staff is friendly.

Nice room great customer service. The room was clean and the hotel overall is kept up nice. Felt a good value for my money. It's located in a nice location in Los Gatos near the downtown and the mini restaurants in Shopping. The breakfast in the morning is a typical hotel breakfast, but pass ed muster.

Had a wonderful stay at the best western in Los Gatos! Was a 25 min walk from town. Rooms were comfy and the view from the hotel makes it feel like a lodge. Excellent free breakfast. Guest services was also very helpful.

I love the way the entrance looks! Our room was so clean! The bed was so comfortable. The walls seem a little thin; we heard kitchen noise and the noises in the hall. We will definitely stay here again!

What a lovely place to stay. Very conveniently located just a few miles from Mountain Winery and all that area has to offer. Quiet hotel, pleasant staff, nice breakfast, plenty of parking, easy to get to. Best Western never disappoints; we will be back!

This is the place to stay in Los Gatos, CA. You can walk downtown to access a variety of restaurants and bars. Rooms were clean, breakfast was served in the AM and the staff is very helpful. Vehicle charging stations are available in the parking for a small fee.

This hotel ticked all my boxes for a recent trip. The rooms are spacious, they all have a mini-fridge, easy parking and a good breakfast. The icing on the cake is there is an excellent restaurant in the same parking lot. Win-Win.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Lobby staff was very friendly and helpful. Needed a fair amount of ice for ice chests and lobby staff didn't hesitate to provide as much as I needed. No lack of hot water and shower head had adjustable spray head. Breakfast area had plenty of choices.

I had the most amazing experience. The decor of the rooms are very nice. The beds are super comfortable. I slept all night. The hotel is right off the freeway but you can't tell because it's so quiet. Will definitely stay again and again.

nice staff just seemed to be unorganized about breakfast, they were having issue with the plugs and prepping food also no cream for the coffee. Once prepared the food was good, The 2nd day they seemed to be late even getting coffee out by 6:00

We had a nice stay at this best western. It was clean and quiet but not too quiet as to not be able to hang out a little later at the pool. The breakfast was awesome. I thought it would be just a dry grab and go breakfast but to my surprise they had omlets and waffles with fresh fruit and juice. It was great, we will stay again if in the area.

Three of my friends and I attended the Lost 80's concert at the Mountain Winery on 9/3, and wanted to stay someplace close. We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights, and had a blast. First, the property was clean and quiet. Our rooms were also clean, quiet and the A/C worked great - important since a heatwave had begun. The breakfast exceeded my expectations - very nice options, and my vegetarian friend asked if the kitchen could make a cheese omelet. They were so nice and accommodating. Every staff member we encountered was nice, professional, helpful, and smiled! We ate dinner at the restaurant the first night, next to the hotel, and it was surprisingly good and fun, another big plus to the experience. We spent most of Saturday at the pool, which was enjoyable. It was clean and comfortable and even had towels. Overall, I would definitely recommend this property to anyone, and I will stay again if I have a need when in the area!!!

This was by far the BEST Best Western we have ever stayed in! Wonderful, polite, professional front desk staff. Clean, stylish lobby and guest room. The rooms were nicely decorated and exceptionally clean. The hotel had a charming appearance and was situated in a quiet neighborhood although it was not far from main roads. It was within walking distance of Los Gatos, with its fun shops and excellent restaurants. I would definitely stay here again, and I have stayed in many hotels far more expensive.

This review follows my second stay. I love the location.. close to the amenities of Los Gatos and within an easy strike of San Jose and Santa Cruz. The new breakfast room is awesome. They had hand made breakfast burritos and french toast. I huge improvement over my last stay. The pool is small but clean and private with ample towels. Walking distance to several drinking establishments. Special shout out to the staff that went out of their way to return some things I accidentally left behind. One suggestion-the tub shower is extra slippery with no grab bar, management should consider installing non slip decals. My favorite Best Western will return often.

This place is nestled in a woodsy area off a busy highway. It's quiet and just a bit off the the main drag but the perfect launching point for Santa Cruz, Los Gatos or Palo Alto. Not sure if this is a new or remodeled hotel but the rooms are modern and tastefully decorated. I highly recommend this Best Western!

This Best Western Inn of Los Gatos was very clean - nothing fancy but solid with nice helpful people working there. I slept well and the location is ideal for events in Los Gatos and visiting family - Great location

Everything is clean, new and fresh. Beautifully done. Daily room service, which not Best Westerns seem to have yet. Great to have your bed made again and fresh towels when needed. We didn't hear noise from the highway. The restaurant, whch our room was close to, quieted down well in time for us to not be disturbed by it too. Staff was very frindly and professional. They've worked diligently to get this place back up and running despite covid and major remodel. One one accassion the hot water pressure can ran low but once we mentioned it to them it wasn't a problem again. Bed was a little too fir for us but the put comforters on top for us and it was fine afrt that. They really care aout their guests. It's a great hotel and much more reasonably priced that other hotel in town.

We visited friends in Los Gatos last week and stayed in the Best Western Hotel for three days. The hotel presents as a mid size road house conveniently located right off highway 17 within near walking distance to town. The public areas of the hotel were clean and there were workmen around indicating that the place is undergoing some updating. Breakfast was called meal in a bag and consisted of of a choice between packaged snacks and coffee or other beverage. The room was basic and clean although the air conditioning thundered when it cycled on to cool the room. We had just flown in from east coast and I clearly conveyed to the receptionist that we needed a quiet room. The receptionist said that Best Western is a quiet hotel but unfortunately gave us a room that was on the second level almost abutting a popular yet noisy restaurant at street level. The hotel and restaurant share a parking lot and the restaurant completely dominated the hotel. The restaurant turned loud and raucous every night becoming more so the later it got. We observed a fist fight between three seemingly intoxicated guys in the parking lot around 9:30 pm We observed other instances of loud animated conversations of restaurant patrons and some also seemed intoxicated. Some patrons drifted out of the restaurant long after closing time and then staff ramped up the music as they cleaned up the place. The management of the hotel offered to move us to another room but it is an inconvenient to switch rooms after unpacking and management promised to help keep the noise down on their property. I spoke with both the manager of the hotel and the restaurant and both claimed that they never had a complaint like the one I was making. It was a short stay and by the end we were just happy to leave and get some sleep

My wife and I enjoyed 3 nights here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was simple and clean. There is free convenient parking, a pool and a wonderful restaurant on the premises. A bagged breakfast was included. I would stay here again and highly recommend it.

We had a very positive stay at the Best Western at Los Gatos. We made some mistakes at booking and check in but the staff was as kind and helpful as I could imagine, assisting us to fully and quickly resolve our situation. Their kindness was a highlight of our trip. Next time I come back to Los Gatos, I will definitely stay at the Best Western.

We loved it. We rented 41 of the 50 rooms for my sons wedding! Everyone loved it! Great times were had and the breakfast was great. I loved sitting by the pool and enjoying the quiet, peaceful setting.

The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating on and around our wedding day and let us select rooms to be near us and such. Also, their booking policy is as flexible and risk free as one could ask for. Overall, great experience - couldn't ask for any more from the team. This is also probably the nicest best western I've ever seen. Nothing too crazy nice but great bang for your buck and extremely pleasant!

I was pleasantly surprised when the General Manager, Alice Southwell upgraded my room to a full Suite without me asking. All I mentioned in talking was that I'd been a Best Western Member for many years and before Covid hit I was a Diamond Elite Member. Alice was wonderful! The suite was very spacious, clean and remodeled with all the comfort amenities you could possibly need. The Hotel is located within 1 mile of down town Los Gatos close to everything.

Room was cozy and clean. Perfect for what I needed. Location was quiet during the times I was there. There was a restaurant on site that seemed to be popular as there were quite a few people there. I will have to try it next time. I will definitely stay here again.

The little hotel is at a great spot, my room was remodeled and very clean. I liked the mattress and pillows as well. The breakfast was not anything impressive, maybe because their lobby was under construction? But the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, and a convenient location make this hotel a gem. The lobby was being remodeled during my stay, so the usual breakfast buffet wasn't available. They did have a limited breakfast menu with some nice healthy choices. We will definitely come back!

One reason we enjoy this BW is how convenient it is to the on/off access to the freeway. We find it to be centrally located to the businesses and restaurants we frequent. It is always clean and quiet, as well.

Very clean, updated bathroom fixtures, lovely shower, quiet, comfortable bed. The room attendants kept our room tidy and neat. Fresh towels when we requested them. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. The breakfast options were not good at all. Grab and go frozen breakfast sandwiches, instant oatmeal, some cold cereal and whole fruit. That was the biggest disappointment of our 8-day stay and after a few days we resorted to breakfast out.

This is a little gem of a hotel, located in the heart of Los Gatos and adjacent to a restaurant. There are two electric charging stations in the parking lot. I stayed only one night and did not try the complimentary take-out breakfast because of my limited schedule. I will definitely come back on future trips. My room was impeccable, bed comfortable, and the staff was excellent.

Extremely helpful and kind service! We intended to stay 2 nights for my Moms surgery but they allowed us to notify them by noon the next day to check out early. We will definitely stay here again if need be!

Can highly recommend the Inn of Los Gatos for the professional, courteous staff and comfortable, clean rooms. It's getting harder to find gracious, clean accommodations for those with pet allergies. It's always a relief to find hotels that designate and hold within room inventory 100% pet-free rooms. like Dog dander can trigger life-threatening breathing problems. There is no such thing as an allergy-friendly dog in a small room with fabrics that trap small particles for severe asthmatics. (All dogs have skin/dander; it's more than fur and fleas.) Thank you Best Western Inn of Los Gatos for prioritizing the health & safety of your guests. Much appreciated!

Surprisingly large and very clean room. Personnel were helpful. Facility was clean and location is good for the price.Location close to fine restaurant and to Santa Cruz and other coastal sites. Thanks for the chance to comment.

Even though the lobby was being renovated the hotel rooms were quite comfortable and updated. They still offered breakfast options in one of the hotel rooms. All of the staff was courteous and helpful.

As our house was actively being shown for sale, we could not have our out of town guests stay at our home. We put them up at one of the very comfortable and spacious suites at the Best Western Inn of Los Gatos. The staff was amazing, and our guests were extremely comfortable.

Front desk was very accommodating. Room was clean. Shower had good water pressure. Breakfast was a grab and go. Hotel is going through renovations so a tad inconvenient having to carry everything upstairs..

This hotel is extremely well maintained and well managed - in fact they should give lessons. It is not classified as a BW PLUS but is MUCH cleaner and better decorated ( very classy décor …. Color scheme and art are equal to an extremely high end boutique hotel!) than many PLUS best westerns. We have been traveling around for several weeks, and the cleanliness here is outstanding! I could go on and on about all the room features than made this stay so comfortable… the lighting, linens, toiletries etc etc. They are currently remodeling the lobby and I look forward to returning months from now when it is finished as well as when Covid is a thing of the past and breakfasts are as they once were. Bravo on your high standards to the entire staff!

This property is beautifully maintained. The room was pristine and tastefully decorated. The bed was soft and luxurious. It was the quality of what you'd find in a 5-star luxury hotel. Definitely the nicest hotel I've stayed in while on a road trip from southern to northern California. Very cordial and professional staff too. Kudos to the property owner who obviously cares about making it a quality stay for their guests.

I am disabled with MS and stayed alone in a handicap room. I had family assistance traveling with me, but they had their own rooms. The room was roomy enough for my wheels walker and the bath and shower were set up perfectly for my safety.

The property was clean, very comfortable and easy in and out. The Grab & Go when you check out is nice since there are no other options for breakfast. They did have a limited selection but the staff was very accommodating and helpful. I will definitely stay there again.

Great location, easy freeway access and so close to all the shops and restaurants in Los Gatos. Newly renovated, clean and comfortable. Front desk staff very friendly. Great price to what you get. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a small family gathering which was very nice. The rooms are clean and the staff was pleasant. Only short coming was the lack of a gathering room, but no-one seemed concerned when we just met in the parking lot.

Convenient and recently redecorated which helped the rating. Still has some older fittings which need to be upgraded soon. No breakfast to speak of. The front desk presents a menu including a breakfast sandwich that can be microwaved. I chose to go to a diner in Los Gatos for a better experience.

I enjoyed my visit to Los Gatos. Maybe a pair of sandals with a buckle will be located. Leather across top of the foot, maybe by TEVA, misplaced at my hotel room 105 most likely. Hope to hear from you if found. Thank you, El

Everything was great until the room cleaning staff started wheeling their noisy carts around! We were woken up way too early, we stayed out late and the loud carts started making noise about 8:30 AM! They could easily have quiet wheels on these carts, but we had to listen to them all morning while trying to sleep

I flew to San Jose, CA to visit my cousins. The hotel was only 4 miles from their location. It was clean, nice and centrally located for me. The room was quiet and had all amenities one would require. I would stay there again anytime.

Great place to stay. Near great businesses. Place was clean. Stayed at this location as an alternative to the expensive hotels in Santa Cruz for UCSC move-in day. I would recommend staying here for other families. Thank you.

I spent two nights at the BW Inn of LG while in the area to attend a wedding. The rooms are updated and comfortable - water pressure in the shower was amazing, ironing board/iron in the room, ceiling fan so I didn't have to run a/c all night, and, while the bed was on the softer side, I had no trouble getting to sleep and staying that way. The location was perfect for me - easy and affordable Lyft rides to and from the airport, as well as to and from the party I attended near the top of the summit on 17, and just across the freeway from downtown Los Gatos with tons of shopping and restaurants. Overall, you can't go wrong with this hotel.

The staff was friendly, attentive & accommodating. The hotel was clean and quiet. The room was clean and comfortable. Although I did not use the amenities, they were nice. There is a Restaurant in the same parking lot, and although a bit expensive, the food was delicious.

Finding the right place at the last minute for a crew of three isn't always the easiest, Best western has done a good job to help us. The facility isn't far from other convenience stores and restaurants and it's kind of a hidden place but was easy to find with the smart phone. Parking can be a little tight around dinner time with outside guest at the restaurant on the facility.

Went to a concert at the Beautiful Mountain Winery, and only had a 15 minute drive to BW , usually a 2 hour drive home.....nice clean and easy. Will definitely do it again,for the next concert we go to at the Mountain Winery.

In a quiet location next to local shops and restaurants. Only 30 minutes from the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. This location also has a free EV charging station that can be used upon request at the front desk.

The executive suite was comfy, super quiet, and had lots of natural light. The bed was very roomy since it was for just me and I'm petite, but even larger people would have been pleased, I'm sure. The ONLY negative was that there were half a dozen or so ever-present teeny ants in the bathroom. Not a big deal at all. Being a returning local, I LOVE the choices for artwork. Made me want to move back into town.

Room very comfortable, shower small but hot water was immediate. Beds super comfortable. You could here noise from outside windows should be more soundproof. Restaurant attached to hotel excellent but the patrons use parking lot of hotel. They were quite noisy. I would stay here again. Really liked the location , cleanliness, and staff.

All of the staff were incredibly nice and helpful. The room itself was clean and has lots of vanity space, great for my family of four. Would definitely stay again. The doubles were a touch small for the adults but we managed just fine for two nights.

My nonstop from JFK into Mineda Airport was delayed. So my reservation was light at the end of a travel tunnel. All staff offered hospitality, I slept soundly, and the bathroom was up-to-date. Plus the Diner of Los Gatos is less than a mile away!

We got 2 king rooms and 1 suite, and our rooms were all nice, clean, and the beds and pillows were VERY comfortable.!!!! We were very pleased! The staff was very nice, and very helpful. It was an all-around great experience from calling to make our reservation, to check-in and checkout! I highly recommend staying here, and we will definitely be coming back!

Great location near downtown Los Gatos and trip to Santa Cruz for wedding. Rooms were clean and grab and go bags offered instead of breakfast. Hotel was clean and staff responded to requests when they were needed.

We were here for hiking in the nearby mountains. Hotel was close to many restaurants. We had the king suite, the rooms were clean and comfortable. Really liked the shutters at the windows instead of drapes. Front desk staff was friendly and informative. Quiet even next to a main road.

This is one of the best hotels we've stayed at in a long time. the hotel was very quiet with no riff-raff hanging around. The hotel is situated away from noisy traffic making it very peaceful. The guest room was very clean. The room smelled very clean. The bed was comfortable also making it for a restful experience. The high pressure shower head was just fabulous! There was carpet on the floor instead of noisy laminate. The carpet was clean. The pictures on the walls are not run of the mill pictures. The pictures clearly depict Los Gatos as a friendly, charming small city. The outside was very well maintained and the garbage containers were clean and seem to be emptied each day. Kudos to the staff under the management of General Manager, Alice.

The room was nice and well cleaned. I would like to see a microwave in the room, especially in these times. Our room was located near an outdoor seating restaurant, but we couldn't hear them in our room.

They do a great job from check-in until check-out. Very friendly staff ! The staff called me by name, helpful and friendly. I would choose this hotel over some of the higher price hotels in Silicon Valley for just these reasons.

Beautiful place to stay.rooms are really clean. Very quiet and everyone is really nice. The pool is very nice. There are a lot of stuff to see around the area. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. I would love to come back again.

We slept well in comfortable beds, enjoyed a clean room, and were given great customer service, with really good food just across the parking lot. i hope to enjoy the pool in post covid times which are hopefully aoon.

It was a good visit. Room super clean. Loud if your staying on bottom floor because of the patio at the restaurant being super loud. That being said the beds are super soft. Showers are super. Great customer service.

I was relocating from Los Gatos, and needed a night in a hotel since my home had already been sent along to my new location. When I arrived at 10PM. The room was ready and the staff was ready to get me to where I needed to go. I very much appreciated their willingness to not hold me up and to help me get checked in and settled. They had my breakfast waiting for me in the morning, and sent me along my way. The only improvement in the room I would mention is the outlets next to the bed are not low enough for a three prong plug in, I had to use the plug in the bathroom vanity (not a big deal). I would suggest raising the wall lamp to allow clearance for the plug in. Other then that, it was a nice room and a good experience.

The room was very comfortable and I felt that Best Western was reassuring in their cleaning measures and social distancing. The room was spotless and there were no extraneous bed and sofa pillows or coverings. Jaime was very helpful and cordial.

Felt that it was very clean and nice. Great location! We had the suite which was very roomy, clean and comfortable. My only critique is that the rooms should have microwaves. It's not convenient to have to go to the lobby to heat up water for tea, etc.

Everything was wonderful. I came to town on a business trip and wish that I could stay longer. Even with the Covid Pandemic, service, hospitality and accommodations were just great. I'm looking forward to my next trip to this area and I will certainly stay here.

This was the 6th time I have stayed here ad I must say they can't do enough for you. They let me check in early for I had a appointment at Stanford I needed to rest before my 1;15 appointment. Great people

Warning! Always lock your door here! I travel for work and stay here a lot. Always felt safe until this week. In short I was nodding off in a comfortable bed and had turned off the lights and tv. Suddenly I woke from a noise at the door. When it opened I shouted out someone is her. The woman made a shocked noise and shut the door. Poking my head out the door she waved a key card with my room number on it. Her comment was, “I'm not staying here.” Could you blame her? Before I went back to bed I tried my key card. It was dead. The clerk had cleared my access and given the room away. This time I locked up from inside learning my lesson. In the morning checking out the clerk of course could not find me. No wonder why. I showed him my platinum rewards I'd and suddenly he found me. He of course was apologizing and told me he would invest. Do not trust the night clerk here. Lock up be safe this is my last use of this property of course

We have stayed here before a few years ago and this Inn is just as wonderful as it was before. The Front Desk personnel are attentive, polite, and so willing to help in any way. This is a Gem in Los Gatos. We will stay again when we come back.

The room was very nice, stayed in one of the suites. Very spacious and quiet. The hotel is being renovated so there are some things that are not part of the regular Holiday Inn expectations but still nice.

Hotel is in a good location was clean and staff was professional and did a good job. The room was clean and quiet. Internet seemed adequate fast enough for my needs. The only real inconvience was the restaurant is not affiliated with the hotel and closed early on Sunday and Monday night. Therefore when I worked late and got to the hotel I needed to find somewhere else to go

This hotel is actually more of a motel as most of the rooms open to the outside.It's in a very nice area and close to highway access. Fairly convenient to restaurants (within walking distance). There is an on-site coin operated laundry. My only complaint is the hotel apparently has a water softening system which makes showering a little unpleasant as it is hard to tell when the soap or shampoo has been rinsed off. It also must drive up their water consumption as people stay under the shower longer to make sure the soap is gone. Also I usually will drink water from the faucet but not here. They also still list free breakfast on their website but they don't have a hot breakfast anymore. They do offer a "grab-and-go" bag with fruit, yogurt, breakfast bars and water if you ask at the front desk.

Easy on/off freeway access. Quiet. Room was nice with a large vanity & mirror outside. Would have been nice if there was a sink- lots of room to have placed one. Bathroom nice w roomy glass enclosed shower. Nice water pressure but the water was not hot. I like a nice warm shower and even I could have had be a bit warm. The sink, however, had really hot water. They advertised the standard free breakfast on the website, but we were told they were remodeling (and they made no provisions for a temporary place to get a quick bite).

The rooms are very comfortable. Simple adequate bathroom. They usually provide a nice breakfast but for some reason this Christmas Day they had a private event. It was a bit inconvenient since restaurants tend to be closed in that area on Christmas Day. The wing of the hotel farthest away from Los Gatos Saratoga Rd are the quieter rooms. The staff were very friendly.

We stayed a week at the BW Los Gatos Inn -- we are former South Bay residents, now living in Hawaii and were in town for my high school reunion. The room was clean and nicely decorated, staff was friendly, and the on-site laundry was convenient. And a very good location, near 17 and 85. And within walking distance of many restaurants and shops in Los Gatos. We would definitely stay again. The only negatives were that the parking was a bit tight due to the adjacent restaurant, and that the full complimentary breakfast was discontinued without any notice between the time we booked and when we arrived. This seems to be a trend -- it's best if BW can let us know in advance about changes like this. We travel quite a bit, nearly always staying at Best Western.

I would recommend this hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. I will definitely stay here again. I arrived at around 11am and they were able to let me check in and go in the room early without a charge.

This hotel does not offer breakfast at all! Not happy to learn after we were already there as it had a great breakfast in the past. Price should be adjusted accordingly or website should disclose the change.

I enjoyed my stay but I won't ever stay there again. There is a restaurant also in the same small parking lot and if you leave after 5pm and come back before 10pm you can't find a parking space. We had to park in another hotels parking lot which guessing was 100 yards away and across a very busy road. When I pay for 3 nights I expect to be able to park my car at the hotel I'm staying at.

The location is great for Los Gatos - walking distance to both downtown (Santa Cruz Ave) & Los Gatos Blvd/Main Street + a short hop to the great Los Gatos Creek Trail (paved walkway & bike path) that leads to Vasona Park. Staff are fantastic in every way, room is super comfy & quiet, amenities great. Pool is tiny, but well-maintained. Although near Hwy 17 & the hotel was nearly fully booked, it was VERY quiet & I heard no traffic or noise whatsoever. Great little hotel & great value!

The pillows are hard as rocks. That feather stuff is not gonna work for me. The place is nice but for the money it is not worth it. No microwaves because the staff said they will be opening a restaurant in the near future. Kind of greedy in my view. As of this date no restaurant no microwaves. They have tons of channels but more than 1/2 are not subscribed. They want you to pay for regular channels. This is the most expensive BW that is not worth the nearly 300 a night. It's ok but not the best

Comfy bed, great breakfast in the am. Quiet, view of the hills.We needed a clean, nice place to stay while on our way to a family party the next day as it was too far to drive . We wanted to be relaxed and ready to go on to get together.

Sofia any the reception was very friendly, professional and helpful. This was my second time in this hotel and again as always this hotel immaculately clean at every corner. Nice, comfortable decor all around. Breakfast was a little weak but adequate and not a deal breaker either... Great value for the area.

Clean hotel and comfortable bed. Would have preferred to have an interior room but not an issue overall. The breakfast could start a little earlier for business travelers who want to beat traffic. The grab and go wasn't healthy option.

Had a great stay, Breakfast was terrific. There was a variety of hot food as well as pick up food. Food was fresh. Best Western is centrally located . I would highly recommend staying at the Best Western.

One of the better Best Westerns for hospitality. The place is pretty, clean and spacious. There's a nice pool if you want to take a refreshing dip. The hotel is well decorated and you KNOW this is Los Gatos and you get the history of the area from the wall hangings. What is so, so, is the free breakfast. I've been here a lot and there's no variation and other properties have a better breakfast. They do have a grab and go and what's super important to me is Good coffee! Been here on business and with family. We will keep coming back!

Really nice place to stay. Very clean and great pool area. Breakfast was a surprise, waffles just made that morning and beautiful fresh berries. Very convenient location with close proximity to Campbell, Los Gatos and Santa Cruz as well.

The Hotel is lovely, and even though I arrived a little b4 noon they were able to accommodate me and my husband. There are no microwaves in any of the rooms. And the restaurant is under construction, so the breakfast is smaller....but made fresh daily. I enjoyed out stay. Love the Kuric Coffee Maker in every room and the Lobby. Staff is very friendly

Stayed for 2 nights for wedding and everything was breeze! Clean room and lobby, helpful staff and the breakfast was delicious! Great location across from another property I stayed at for business a year ago, don't stay there!! Stay here at the BW!! Great hotel!

We stayed 1 night to make it to a work event, the property is very tidy and the rooms are spacious. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. We didn't take advantage of the pool or breakfast, but If we come back I'll be sure to hop in.

Nice location off the highway and close to Los Gatos ' downtown. Beds were comfortable . Breakfast was the exact same every morning. W(/breads/fruit/yogurt/ cereal. ) Our shower had one tiny soap holder with no other shelf for shampoo/conditioner etc.

Hotel was very clean and has spacious rooms that are well maintained. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. Great location. Lots of parking with a restaurant opening soon. It is nice to deal with a staff that' knows what their doing unlike the national booking for best western Will not use them again unless it's the only option.

I saw this BW online yet never stayed as the images did not do it justice. Had to stay one weekend due to every BW in the Santa Cruz area was full. I was so glad to not only find a room but discover what a wonderful attractive hotel this is for a fair price. The staff are friendly, our room was fresh and quiet. The Breakfast was better than many of the hotels further in towards the ocean. This BW is in a quiet little town that has a special charm of it's own. The bed was perfect and they had a nice TV with HBO so we didn't have to miss our series. We had a shower only but the water came out at just the right temp. anytime of the day. All of the staff were on top of their game and helpful to let us know about places to eat or look at around town. We will stay there again and often since I visit the ocean at least twice a month to whale watch.

We stayed one night here, and wished we had stayed our entire time at this Best Western. The property is excellent, the location is very convenient for travel and for walking around the town of Los Gatos. I am a former LG resident and my husband and I now live in Hawaii, and we were visiting family and friends here in the area. The room was very nice, the staff was courteous and professional, and the full complimentary breakfast was very good. We will book in advance for our next trip, since this hotel fills up quickly!

Great Location and High Standard Accommodation. I have stayed here on many occasions and have never been disappointed. The renovations and standard of the rooms is hard to beat in the Bay Area. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The onsite restaurant is changing owner and being upgraded, so only breakfast is available on site.

This Hotel is a gem among the Best Western hotels! - Located very conveniently to the highway but very quiet, we did not hear any traffic at all. - The room had a very nice modern touch, 2 large mirrors and even a cosmetics mirror. - The breakfast was excellent, there was an unusual variety of fresh fruit and also home made waffels. - I really appreciated that there were no single-use plates and cutlery. This adds a lot to the overall impression and quality of the meal (and avoids a lot of plastic waste).

I had a bit of trouble finding Best Western but once I put the address in MapQuest I was led directly to it. The address is Los Gatos/Saratoga which is misleading because it is on a side street - Alberto. I would definitely stay again especially because I felt very safe. I had driven from Sacramento that morning and didn't want to drive home that night which would have been too long of a day. It had a clean, orderly room and everything worked except it was a little chilly. The breakfast was quite good with a variety of choices including HEALTHY options!

All other aspects of the hotel lived up to this part of the experience. I wish more motels and hotels would offer plug-ins for their overnight guests. As long as this one does, we will definitely be back.

Very nice and modern best western in a nicely green wooded area. Clean and the breakfast was decent. A few comments: my laptop could never connect to the WiFi even though my phone did; the overhead lights were not working properly; and the shower head was pointing the wrong way and I couldn't redirect it without potentially breaking it. Fitness room did the job. Has one onsite EV charging spot.

I love this place they are very accommodating and staff is very friendly. Rooms are nice and kept clean and updated. Nice area and next to many shops and restaurants just down the way. They closed down the restaurant down stairs so the breakfast options are very limited now no hot food was disappointing, but other than that a great stay!

Pretty nice, some of the little details need attention like the lack of a toilet paper holder, the shower curtain rod falling off the wall and noticing my white socks looked dirty after walking on the floors.

We had a great stay here. Our only complaint was that the person in the room above us was walking/banging around at very later and early hours (after midnight and 4AM!). Not sure if it was a customer or some kind of repair activity. It woke us up several times.

Staff were fantastic! The restroom in our room however had a shower head that was too low. Had to duck and I am average height of 5'8". The remainder of our room was nice and clean. We were informed they had been remodeled. Overall, it was a very good experience. Would I stay there again? Only out of necessity, not want.

I've stayed at The Inn of Los Gatos (TIOLG) once or twice a year for the past six years, mostly, to meet and work with the editor of the book(s) I'm working on. He lives in San Jose and TIOLG has been a convenient, comfortable place to stay. It's quite convenient but gives the feeling of being in its own little world. Although part of a chain it feels like it own independent hotel. The staff has been accommodating for both my stay and my work. I will continue to return on my annual+ visits.

Room was clean but I was put in handicap room and found the bathroom sink and lack of shelving a disadvantage. Ground floor can be noisy if guest upstairs walks around all night. Have been there several times and rooms towards the front have more light.

This always is my choice for a visit to Los Gatos. The rooms, price point, amenities, and the staff are first rate. The inn is located in a quiet and convenient location and the property is very well managed.

We were attending a birthday party with guests/family coming from out of town. We were welcomed and made comfortable with out any issues. More than polite and professional. Made our trip easy for visiting and commuting around town.

Enjoyed my 3rd stay at this hotel on Los Gatos. Large clean room, everything worked well, free water for guests (nice touch), coffe, fridge & very good hot breakfast. Very friendly & capable staff. Will look forward to staying here again!

The room we had (room 111) was set up for one person so we asked for extra towels, she brought out a bath mat. Maybe more training of staff is needed. The hotel clerk called it a "single king room". There were two of us. The bed was comfortable, nice HDTV. We were there over New Year's and it was pretty quiet. The mold on the inside and outside of the shower was quite disgusting. The location of the room was not convenient for loading and unloading the car. The "free breakfast" ran out of food and had to make more. Instead of potatoes, they brought out tater tots. Really? Walls are too thin too. I expect better from a Best Western motel.

This is a nice Best Western, although older. Restaurant on property has quite good food. Watch the prices, though. Can be $150 one night and $450 another. Tends to fill up and be higher mid week. Very few inside hall rooms, but property is safe and located in a primarily residential neighborhood.

The Inn of Los Gatos is located near the highway exit Los Gatos. Nice spacious room with a clean separate bathroom (shower only). Bed is good. Furthermore a big TV screen, coffeemaker, (free)WiFi, Airco, safe are available. Rooms are a little noisy. Breakfast room (in the 57 Restaurant) was very cold as the heater was not working well. Overall breakfast is ok (typical US style). Spaces are clean, friendly staff and location is fine (10 min walk from downtown Los Gatos).

I was delighted with the room and the restaurant for this hotel. It was better than some 3 and 4 star locations I have stayed at. Although showing a little wear and tear, in general, an excellent location.

We had a king size bed at this hotel. It was a very nice room. Our only complaint about our visit here was the breakfast. The food that was supposed to have been hot was at best warm. The hotel staff was very friendly! Really appreciated Brad's help!

Even though our reason for staying in Los Gatos was medical, the stay at this hotel made it very comfortable. We have a return visit in 2 days and look forward to staying there. The attached restaurant was excellent.

this property is average. I was really expecting more based on the reviews. I would pay $135-150 here, not $240. I called in advance to request a quiet room away from road noise. When I arrived that note was nowhere on my account and the only room available to me could not have been CLOSER to the road. Front desk is not well trained, I asked for directions to downtown, which is 5 minutes away and was told "I am not good with maps, you can come back later and talk to someone else". Shower has a shower curtain. I called around 11:30 to let the front desk know we were leaving and would like our room cleaned. We came back at 5 and housekeepers were in the room. The Kuerig coffee maker is nice, but no liquid creamer, I asked for it however and they brought some. Two pros: comfortable beds and nice breakfast, many options.

This place is simple, clean and serves it's purpose. The front desk service was excellent. Rooms are updated and comfy. We had dinner onsite at Grille 57 and it was delicious. The pool is small but heated which was nice in October. We will be back. O

I haven't stayed at a Best Western for years. It used to not be a very highly regarded hotel chain. Perhaps the location of this one makes it so good but it did exceed my expectations by far. Clean, quiet, attached "57" restaurant was very good. Only negative was the scrambled eggs at breakfast had hard crunchy edges on them. Could be from the low customer count at the time so they had been sitting a while. Could be better maybe on busier days when they refill more often. Otherwise I was pleasantly surprised with my stay and would recommend again. Great location to get to Downtown Los Gatos, hit 17 to Santa Cruz.

Needed a place to stay for a wedding that wouldn't break the bank for 2 rooms but still be conveniently located. This place was very nice and quiet. Bed was comfy and feee breakfast pretty good. Close to downtown Los Gatos. Would definitely stay again.

First, I am sorry to read of the reviewer before me, "The B", and what happened to the wedding couple. So very sad, and we are sorry. As for our stay, a couple of weeks ago, my husband and I had a very nice stay. This hotel is only a 20 minute drive from the San Jose' airport, and is located very close to the freeway (without all of it's noise.). This convenience made it very easy for us "out-of-towners" to find. We had a very quick check-in, and had a suite, Room 201. This room was immaculate when we entered, and each day when we returned to our daily activities. The bathroom was huge! Plenty of counter space for our travel bathroom bags. The towels were so soft, and they were plenty of places to hang them up after their use. (Not always the case in other hotels.). Loved the strong shower too! The king bed was comfy, and we appreciated the extra pillows. Our room, 201, was located on the upper floor, at the far left side of the property. We were right next to the restaurant/bar's outside area. We were a bit concerned about late-evening noise we would hear. But, were assured by the bar's wait staff that it is closed by 10pm. (Except for Tuesday's.). Yep, he was right! Our room's windows were right next to the cement stairs that headed down to the restaurant and bar. You will hear foot traffic going up and down! We appreciated the staff replacing the sitting room's tv remote on our first call. Neither us or the staff, could get the channel selection or volume to work at all. The 2nd one worked just fine. Thank you. This hotel was perfect for our visit's needs. They had a delicious breakfast buffet, and we enjoyed a great dinner at the bar--Grill 57. (We will review it if TA has it listed.). Conveniently located to the Los Gatos venues for the wedding we attended. Many thanks to the staff for our welcoming and relaxing stay here.

We booked a large block of rooms for my son's wedding and stayed there 6 nights. Everything went well until the wedding day. We asked the day prior if the bridal couple could check in early as the wedding was at 2:30 PM. The front desk said no but, don't worry as the room was paid for so you could check in anytime. The bride and groom showed up at 0130 after a great wedding ready for their wedding night. "Sorry, we are fully booked." "But, we have a room reserved, here is the confirmation number." Sorry, we rented that room to someone else. So, the front desk fellow called around and made a reservation at another hotel and promised to pay for it as Best Western had given their room away. An hour later they got to bed and the next day left on their honeymoon. Three days later...they get a bill for the room that they NEVER stayed in .......and even worse, an additional bill for the room that they were told would be paid for. What an excellent example of corporate greed. Needless to say, NONE of our large and extended family will EVER use a Best Western hotel again,

Providing two electric charging ports free of charge for hotel guests made this place a big plus. Very nice decor. Stayed in room 123 near pool. Quiet corner of hotel grounds (unless kids are using pool but didn't bother us). Cozy rooms. Loved the shutters & decor. Another plus was having a restaurant on site. It was great to go grab two beers after a long day on the road. The third plus was its proximity to Almond Hill shopping district. Last but not least, the hotel staff was very friendly both at check in and also at breakfast, where Laura greeted us warmly especially when I was so impressed & excited that they had chilaquiles as part of the breakfast buffet!! (A first for us in all our travels!)??

We stayed here for a total of four (4) nights and found this BW to be very comfortable. Yes it is an older building but it has been updated really well. The rooms while not all that big are clean and comfortable. The beds in our double room were a tad soft for my liking but that's just me. The location was terrific and a quick in and out to get just about anywhere we needed to go in the area. There is a restaurant basically attached to this hotel where they offer guests a free hot breakfast. It is an usually better breakfast than one gets at other hotels. There is a guest laundry (costs money) and a swimming pool which we did not make use of. It was a little bit too chilly. The service by the front desk person, Brad was impeccable. I just recently started adding Best Western to my list of hotel choices. After staying here, Best Western will definitely be a top choice! Excellent customer service! Very modern and new accommodations! Of course the usual, hot shower, comfortable bed, and stable WiFi. I recommend and would stay again!

We wanted to say near the Stanford Health complex in the area, and near the charming downtown of Los Gatos...and in lodging that was reasonably priced. The Best Western Inn of Los Gatos met all of our objectives and many more. The room was clean and well equipped, breakfast was included, and ALL of the staff we encountered were friendly, professional, and helpful. A very pleasant experience.

Very convenient location in Los Gatos. Large clean room, comfortable bed. Large walk in shower with good water pressure and hot water. Air conditioner cooled the room quickly. Greeted and welcomed when we arrived. Breakfast was included. The town is great if you have time to stroll. I was too tired to go over to the bar/restaurant after we arrived, but my husband did and he said it was quite lively.

We stayed for 1 night attending a wedding in Nestldown. The location is perfect, right off Hwy 17. We arrived at 1 pm, and we were told that a room can be made available to us at 1:30 pm. The interesting thing was, of the 2 staff who were there, the newbie was friendly and helpful, while the one who was doing the training (or more senior) was definitely not, borderline rude. The room is nice, furniture is new, bed is comfortable, AC is strong. Wall is a little thin. So, that maybe a problem if you have noisy neighbors. It has a restaurant on premise, Grill 57. Breakfast is free and it's more than adequate, a buffet with egg, sausage, waffles, bagels, muffins, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt and fresh fruit. Another thing that was a big plus for us is the EV charger. There are 2! Charging is complementary to the hotel guests. If we ever come to this part of town, we will definitely stay in this Best Western again.

It was a bit hard to find, but it was a very nice place to stay. The town is very cute, so we saw a little of it while we were looking for the place. Finally used my phone to find it.....duh. The bed was super comfortable and the restaurant attached was very good. The breakfast, served in the restaurant, was good. We sat by the pool for a while. It was very pleasant. I would recommend.

Very nice area, friendly people , easy access to the freeway and clean rooms. Had the morning paper, coffee and the restaurant is very good. Great rate for this area and close to Santa Cruz and San Jose.

Spent from May to end of July, quiet, walking distance to old town, Staff was EXCELLENT! big shout out to Jaime, Brad, Who always found a way to greet me, Katlynne and Marcus who helped me with computer problems.. Breakfast is served in an attached Restraunt (Cafe 57) where every Tuesday night they have a live Band. Laura who is the hostess at breakfast time, is exceptionally great, and always tried to make sure everything was right. I have one negative and that is the Ice machine is down in the laundry room, by the pool.. if you want a glass of ice it's down stairs to the back of the property.

We chose this hotel for price and location, we were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful accommodations. We actually enjoyed our leisure time spent at the pool and bar and grill most of all. The location put us close to top notch restaurants and shopping. We are looking forward to staying again

We enjoyed are two day stay here having travelled up to attend a wedding nearby. The location is very convenient to downtown and a lot of shopping areas. The front desk staff was very friendly and efficient and made sure we didn't have any questions before w went to our room. We booked a suite which was very spacious and comfortable for the 4 of us. The room provided many needed amenities and there was a lot of couches and chairs for everyone to sit and be comfortable. Two large air cons were located in either room and worked very well in cooling the rooms quickly. Included breakfast was simple but provided a decent selection of offerings in a clean and comfortable environment. There were always staff around to clean up tables and stock the food items when they got low. Overall a very nice experience and a reasonable place to stay. The pool area was smaller but comfortable. My son wanted to swim one of the days and there was a lot of pine needles and tree debris floating on the service which I cleaned myself using a net provided. Not sure if it is surfaced cleaned every day or not or maybe it just accumulates debris quickly as there are very large trees nearby but just a minor thing. I would recommend staying here because it's in a quiet area but close enough to the major freeway making it very convenient to get in and out of town.

Maybe I just wasn't in a good mood, but I feel like Josh pretending to be Prince William was the highlight of the trip. Basically not cool. All the features of the hotel seemed just bland and not very attractive, but I couldn't really find anything truely negative to put my finger on.

I really wanted to like this hotel because I am a local resident and was staying here for 2 nights while my house was fumigated. The pluses are that it was recently renovated and the rooms are clean and well equipped. It is next to Highway 17 but is very quiet and almost secluded. There is plenty of parking and the management was forgiving of my 3 cars on the property. We booked a suite (bedroom in separate room) to provide enough privacy for 2 people in the bedroom and one on the sofa bed. Although the suite was quite spacious, it didn't provide as much privacy as Embassy Suites where I've stayed at often. Two reasons: 1) the bathroom is off the bedroom, not the common area 2) the double doors to the bedroom had frosted glass insets, allowing light to filter through. These two things didn't conveniently allow for people to go to bed at different times and keep the lights on. The other thing which terribly annoyed me and is the reason for my relatively low rating is the wifi was next to non-existent. The front desk told me that they have been having trouble with Samsung and HP devices (exactly what my tablet and laptop are) connecting to the wifi for several days and had not been able to resolve it. The only device that would connect was my iPhone, so I could not get any work done for 2 days. No alternatives provided other than using the computer at the business center. Breakfast was good and had plenty of choices, no issues there. I did kill 4 spiders in my room. Front desk said they had recently sprayed for them.

The following people keep this great hotel a excellent place to go Caitlyn, Mikayla, Marcus, Jaime, Jeremy, Brad and the housekeeping. These people go away out of making your stay here great no.... Fantastic!!! Come you will find this place just what you need

We stayed 1 night at this hotel during Memorial Weekend, on a Sunday to celebrate our Wedding Anniversay. It's located right off of Highway 17 going into Los Gatos. Our hotel room was nice and the decor was lovely, dark wood furniture throughout. Huge vanity area as well as the bathroom. The greatest thing of all, it was very clean. We got a great deal via Trip Advisor and I'm glad we made this decision, so worth the value. The customer service was great. I forgot the young lady that assisted us when we arrived but she was great. She also oversees the breakfast, making sure that areas are clean and very prompt to do so. Before we departed, I asked the manager if I could put a tip in an envelope for both her and the cleaning lady. Please don't forget to tip, we all like to be acknowledged and hopefully appreciated of how we are doing, regardless of the type of job we all do. If I can say anything negative, it would be that our room was upstairs, on the right side, outside of the building and there are no stairs that we were able to access from downstairs in the parking lot, to our room upstairs. We had to enter through the front lobby, lug our belongings and either use the stairs or take the elevator to the second floor, and go through the door that gives you access to our room outside of the hotel. We found this odd, being that the left side of the hotel has stairs to where patrons can use to go upstairs from parking lot. Other than that, it was a very nice stay.

We are from LG and have stayed here various times, and have always been pleased. It isn't fancy, but its clean, everything works, not too noisy, and the Grill 57 down below has good drinks and food. Breakfast was fine. Laundry is efficient. Pool is very small but fine for kids (or bored teens). About 1/4 mile easy walk from the quaint downtown area. We prefer this over the Los Gatos Lodge (dingier) and the Los Gatos Hotel (too pricey for what you get).

Very nice hotel, so far is the only hotel in the best western chain that offer the points and the gift and check in for their diamond reward members. At first you may think that is not going to be a good hotel since is the same building complex with some offices and restaurants but once you get into the lobby and your rooms your expectation change. Room is big and clean like the fact that they have a ceiling fan, the only down part is that the only stairs and elevator is in the lobby area other than that I will stay in these hotel when I close to these area.

Stayed at this location twice and both have been great visits. I will most likely go back any time I a in the San Jose area! Comfortable bed, delicious breakfast, and friendly staff! Especially Jose, Mikayla, and Mark or Mike?

Clean,easy parking pool tucked away in quiet corner. Nothing fancy, but functional. Easy quick freeway access to hwy 17 (Santa Cruz to SW, San Jose to east). Hwy 17/680 is major artery in South Bay- primarily east-west with n/s 280/101 ramps. Resonable breakfast buffet.

The best offers a good, reasonably priced accommodation in Los Gatos. Not walking distance, but not too far, and the on-site restaurant is good. The structure clearly shows the motel origin, but the rooms are fairly new and look nice.

We stayed here for three nights while visiting family. Our room was spacious and looked like it had been renovated recently. Very clean, comfortable king size bed. Options for air included a window that opened, a ceiling fan and air conditioning/heating. We only needed the fan and open windows. Breakfast included a variety of choices, both hot and cold. Nice fluffy thick towels that were changed daily.

Nice property but I can't get past the noise from the people walking upstairs and hearing people talking through the walls! Paper thin walls and ceilings. I guess I should have brought industrial strength ear plugs.

Great central location near all major towns. On site restaurant and other amazing options nearby. Quiet area although the inside rooms are preferable. Breakfast could be improved but in line with other of its kind.

Great place to stay, right off the highway. Very quiet for being next to the highway. Comfortable bed and very clean, also have a great breakfast in the morning in there restaurant Grill 57 next to them. We were there for a company function at Campo de Bocce, a fun place to go for food and game.

I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel was recently renovated and the room was nicely decorated. The breakfast was great with four hot items that changed daily. My favorite was the Chilequiles. I was also quite thankful that the restaurant was able to accommodate my food order on Valentine's day, when they were so busy. They had a live band which was lovely. I didn't have a reservation and they were quite full and weren't taking outside orders but when I explained that I was staying at the hotel they were quite helpful. I ordered chicken wings and the mac n cheese and I have to say the mac n cheese was extremely delicious. I would definitely recommend the hotel. I stayed in room 208.

The hotel is an older property, but nicely renovated. It is very conveniently located to downtown Los Gatos. The restaurant on the property, Grill 57, has very good food at fairly reasonable prices. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The housekeepers do a great job cleaning and maintaining the rooms. This was the second time we have stayed at this property and would definitely return.

This hotel was awesome. The staff are super friendly and the room was clean and well appointed. Pillows were super floofy and the bed was comfortable. I really appreciated the in room Keurig and delicious coffee provided as well as the bottled water. The hotel is conveniently located with an excellent restaurant on site.

We found the front desk staffed by Mikayla very welcoming. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. Location is excellent to downtown and Los Gatos Blvd. to Good Sam Hospital. I would definitely choose this hotel again, although it is more of a motel style with outdoor entrance to rooms. The bonus is having the great Grill 57 restaurant onsite. Very good food there all day.

Clean comfy rooms. The beds were wonderful. I was going to look and see who made the mattress, but I forgot. The breakfast was delicious! The staff was very helpful, professional, and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

Everything was clean and fresh. The front desk was friendly and helpful. Though I worked in the service industry, I don't like cleaning service tip envelope suggestions. While I really appreciate a hotel's cleaning service in general, I feel pressured to leave a tip, which I did, when there wasn't anything extra that was done for me to warrant this. if a service goes out of their way to help beyond the job description, then yes, I will be more than happy to leave something for that specific person.

The Best Western Los Gatos is a great place to stay. Lovely hotel with an excellent staff. The hotel is nicely located out of the way but easy access to the SJC airport and the town of Los Gatos is charming. Lots of great places to eat and a lovely farmers market in town on Sunday morning.

We stayed in a King Suite and I was beautiful the living room was spacious and the photographs of old Los Gatos were such a nice touch ! The room was clean and well insulated , it was a great place to rest after a busy day of Holiday celebrating ! The staff was friendly and informative, the fitness center was great for my morning work out! The price was fantastic breakfast included in the cost of the room was awesome! We come to Los Gatose often to visit family and we will definitely stay here again!

Very friendly staff and very clean.. highly recommended!! Beds were comfortable and perfect for me. The breakfast wasn't the same everyday which is good and you must try the pico de gallo... it is amazing!!

No issues. Room was clean, comfortable and reasonably. This is an upgraded inn within walking distance to Los Gatos. Restaurant is very good with a full bar that includes tap IPA. Would stay here again.

The location was ideal for our business purposes. Easy access to fwy, close to downtown from dining, shopping. The restaurant was nice (yummy mushroom pizza for dinner!). The beds were really comfortable. The bathroom was a bit cramped - but clean and functional. It would have been nice to have sink outside the bathroom (where coffee pot and big counter/bar was). The staff in lobby were super friendly and helpful as were other staff. Will definitely stay here again if business brings us back.

I am a regular guest, visiting our Los Gatos head office about four times a year. Over the last 18 months I have noticed a big improvement in facilities and, especially, in service. My latest visit showed that the BW Inn of Los Gatos is not resting on its laurels, and the service has continued to improve.

So it's kind of funny that this hotel appears to share space with a plaza for a medical facility. It was kind of confusing when we pulled into the lot. It was a great location as we had to attend a friend's child's birthday party in the area. It's very conveniently located near downtown Los Gatos (just a quick drive over the overpass and you are near all the shops and restaurants). The room was modern and very clean. We had a room near the swimming pool, but never got to use it as we had a busy schedule. The best part of the stay?? The free hot breakfast at the on site restaurant attached to the hotel (it is on the other end from the lobby). The choices were awesome. There was something for everyone (eggs, bacon, sausages, rolls, fruit, yogurt, cereal, etc). The only downside was that they only had one area of the restaurant open for breakfast so we did have to wait for a few minutes for a table to clear to sit down. Overall a wonderful weekend stay.

Lovely clean room. Shower was wonderful. The bed was a little hard for me. However, I still got a good nights rest. Counter staff was extremely nice. Not the "this is my job to act friendly". I try to stay at a Best Western when ever possible!

Great location, well presented, lovely staff and reasonable pricing for the area. Easy access to Silicon Valley without too many traffic jams. Noise insulation is not the best but not a major issue as it is only while people are moving around.

This hotel is clean, updated, and serves a nice hot breakfast - including a few Vegan friendly items. But this trip we were placed next door to noisy neighbors who kept us awake for hours. The next morning we realized there were 3 empty rooms in a row on the other side of us that we could have been placed in. We have stayed here multiple times but this was the last time due to the noise and how thin the walls are.

This is a great hotel. I didn't like the hotel where I was originally booked and I was able to get a room here for the next 4 nights of my vacation. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I like Best Westerns as a whole because they treat you well for a reasonable price. You are not charged for every little thing like other hotels. Check out was a breeze.

Unbelievable caring staff will set the tone for this superly clean and well maintained property. The staff went above and beyond for me. And the restaurant attatched to the hotel is unreal good. I recommend the gnocchi. Or the steak. I had a steak salad and my steak was cooked to perfection. Nothing about this stay could have been any better.

The hotel has been renovated and the room I stayed in lovely, Rm 202. The front lobby and check in areas seasonally decorated. Staff attentive and courteous. One gets free breakfast at the Grill 57 a few steps away from hotel

Cons: - walls are paper thin and you could hear anything next door - Inn-style, so rooms don't have windows - Small, poorly equipped gym Pros: - a strong AC unit to keep that room cold for a comfortable night - clean room - helpful staff both at the Inn and the associated restaurant - complimentary continental breakfast is very tasty

Promised a room with a parking space immediately outside and a shower with grab bars and a shower seat. After checking, in found the room with the handicapped shower was at the end of a row of rooms without any parking whatsoever as they were all blocked by a small swimming pool. I don't know how they expected someone using a walker to drag even a wheeled suitcase that far. There is also no place to leave a vehicle for even a few minutes during check in. A mobility impaired person must park at the end of the parking lot and struggle with a walker to the lobby. Now that I know the person at the Best Western 800 number who claims to have verified the availability of the kind of room I requested either gets bad information or doesn't care as long as he gets the person to make the reservation, I will never reserve a room at another Best Western. I just retired and hoped to travel quite a bit. But I will find a hotel chain that cares about mobility problems and gives valid information when called for a reservation.

The room was very nice and clean..I must admit one of the nice best western hotels I've stayed and I've stayed at over 9 locations.. staff was very friendly.. accommodation for late check out was not an issue.

This is a lovely hotel and we have stayed here several times for different occasions. When my nephew was planning his Saratoga Springs wedding we suggested he research The Inn at Los Gatos. They were so pleased with the location, rooms and service that they booked the hotel for wedding guests and family. The breakfast room was a perfect gathering place to catch up with family and relax before the big day. I would highly suggest this hotel if you are looking for rooms for out of town guests but I could see where it would also be perfect for the business traveler.

Highly recommend. Adorable Los Gatos is a nice stroll away for meals, shopping, etc. Hotel is a nice manageable size with good service. I don't like the huge hotels, and this is perfect. Some rooms open to the outside, some are interior. Ours was a large King room interior entrance. We got 15$ per night reduction with AARP (my husband is over 50 but I'm not....but they still give the spouse a card. Worth it!) We are actually returning to this hotel soon for another family event.

The people at Inn of Los Gatos bent over backwards to help make the stay of a bunch of out of town family happy while there for a wedding. Group rates extended to everyone. Gathering at breakfast at group tables put together for that purpose. Coffee in room, frig, hair dryers, adequate space considering it is California with premiums on adequate space, flowers in the planters. My only negative was eggs and pancakes seemed like they had been pre-fab and shipped to restaurant. Would like to see these made fresh on site.

Very nice and clean hotel. Good location and better then average free breakfast. Breakfast was better here then many other Best Westerns I have stayed in. Pool was nice and the kids had lots of fun swimming on the hot days we were there

Wonderful visit to LOs Gatos with family. Weather warm but we had a lovely time nevertheless. The hotel is centrally located and close to family & restaurants. Will return again in November for Thanksgiving.

As opposed to higher end options in Los Gatos (all of which I have stayed at) this "motel" has few amenities and a far inferior breakfast and pool area. However the softest beds and cleanliness is a plus.

The best "Best Western" property we've stayed at. Modern and updated. Keycard touch entry. Plantation shutter windows. Large Samsung flatscreen. Comfortable bed. Keurig in room. Enclosed shower. Great free breakfast. Close to Mountain Winery and that was a plus.

Items left in room after a stay by accident. Called withing 5 hours of checking out and surprise. Items just disappeared out of the room. No one on housekeeping staff placed any of it in lost and found. Must have just put it in their pockets. DON'T STAY HERE IF YOU CARE FOR YOUR BELONGINGS BECAUSE THE HOTEL STAFF DOESN'T CARE ABOUT YOU.

Came to town to visit family. The room was clean and pretty. I loved having plantation shutters for window coverings...nice looking and created a nice black out in the morning. Loved the restaurant, Grill 57...great food and good wine.

This hotel is in the perfect location. Easy on and off the highway. It is quiet and clean. Staff are friendly and professional. The price is fair. I would stay here again. It is also close to great shopping and restaurants.

Request a room away from the restaurant if you crash before 10pm. We had to turn on the air conditioning as whitenoise for the kids. We were on the 1st floor and could hear the water pipes run from room above. Request a 2nd floor room.

The restaurant attached to the hotel was delicious (albeit expensive) and the staff were extremely sweet to our young 3 year old son. The free breakfast went above and beyond expectations (eggs, meat, yogurt, multiple types of milk for lactose free people, etc). The pool was well maintained and our son loved it. Downside: the fitness room is very small and limited. Overall, great place to stay!

Overall the staff were ALL EXCEPTIONAL. The manager handled our noise problem ( running & jumping children, in the room above us) very quickly and apologize immediately for the inconvenience. He even adjusted our bill. The breakfast was in the restaurant next door which was acceptable. Room was clean, laundry room with vending machines were very close by our room. Was treated with friendliness and were there to help us with anything we needed. Would probably stay here again.

Terrific stay would recommend it absolutely the rooms were very clean and the service was very accommodating and we really loved our stay we will tell all our friends and family. It was well worth the money!

Formerly a motel, The BW Inn of Los Gatos now offers a level of comfort of accommodation that can only bettered locally by a far more expensive luxury hotel. Large and recently refurbished rooms provide comfortable accommodation. A recently opened restaurant adjoining the hotel - the 57 Grill - provides a tasty breakfast, and a quality dinner menu to match anything in town. The biggest improvement has been in the quality of staff. Having complained about the attitude of staff staff on my first stay here several years ago, I now have to say that the welcoming and helpful attitude of all staff i encountered on this trip was of the highest level. Highly recommended!

What a lovely gentleman! Jeremy checked us in and assured me that the room was absolutely clean as requested. It was a welcome relief after an exhausting day that started at 3 a.m. on the east coast in order to pick up an early morning flight for the west coast. We got "lost" in the vast king suite! It was beautiful, spotless, and spacious. Another couple or a few kids can fit in easily. It was total relaxation for us after a day of running around in unfamiliar surroundings with more to do the following few days. It was absolutely paradise to sink into the king-sized bed or enjoy the adjacent living room or get under the hot shower in the pristine bathroom. What luxury! We were able to decompress. Breakfast was very good. Eggs, bacon, assorted pastries, and breads were much too much to eat. Coffee, tea, and juices were unlimited. We were spoilt by the room and breakfast. I did not want to leave this particular Best Western where I felt so pampered. It was as good as a Hampton Inn or Residence Inn or Homewood Suites.

This hotel is a first class establishment. The rooms are spacious and nicely appointed. The hotel is clean and the staff is efficient and friendly. The 57 Grill on the premises serves a good breakfast, lunch and dinner. I highly recommend the Best Western Los Gatos Inn.

I love this hotel and the location. The rooms are beautifully appointed and love the bathroom, vanity area. There are beautiful wood blinds which are so much better than those stupid curtains. The pillows are great and love the bed although I'm so short I do have problems getting on it. However, this is a problem as most hotels are moving to these types of bed. Stay here whenever I can.

Overall nice - friendly staff. BUT the shower stall is an accident waiting to happen - one grab bar might change my opinion. the door into the shower swings in and out - no mom slip strips or mat on the floor make a very slippery surface with nowhere to hold on. surrounded by glass panels - it's just a lawsuit waiting to happen

The Inn of Los Gatos is my home away from home when I come to Silicon Valley. The rooms are recently redecorated, up to date, and very welcoming. The Inn is a perfect fit, aesthetically, with the area; it's nestled into the hillside with instant access to SR 17, which heads north to Campbell and San Jose, and south to Santa Cruz and Monterrey Bay. The surroundings are beautiful, with a lovely view of the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Nearby downtown Los Gatos is charming and walkable. The breakfast has me starting the day feeling like a king. The hotel staff is pleasant and snappy, and the room is flawlessly cleaned and ready when I get back from a long day at work. The service is good every single day - not a single hitch. For the money, you just can't beat the Inn of Los Gatos.

Staying at the Inn of Los Gatos was a very positive experience. The Inn was upgraded about a year ago and it had a very Euro feel. The room was well designed and appointed and also very clean. Great experience overall. Very reasonably priced as well.

I can guarantee that you won't find a better option in Los Gatos. The place is perfect! Nice, clean, organized and plenty of parking spaces. The room is the perfect size with all the amenities that you need. The best part is the attention they spend with their guests... A co-worker was staying in the next room and the house keeper noticed that he had long hair and - without him asking - she provided a hair dryer! If it's not a perfect attention to details I don't know what is it. I spent 5 nights here and I'm looking forward to my next time! Congratulations!

The property is very clean with professional and friendly staff. The breakfast service is excellent with many choices and an onsite kitchen with cooks. Would suggest that the landscape company not start power equipment until after 9am but other than that it was a very restful and relaxing stay.

Great location for business or pleasure in the Los Gatos area. It is a nice and clean motel. Not exceptional, but well run. Staff are competent, but the overall experience is one of a good motel, not a full hotel. The breakfast experience was so-so, and we therefore skipped it. They've done the best they could with the physical facility they have.

Beds are hard and made noise! Walls are paper thin you can hear your neighbor talking never met my request to change rooms no more going here to this little hick town. Maids where ok but only wanted tips for not doing anything

We stayed here for one night after flying in to San Jose. All the hotels around the airport were insanely priced (likely because of March Madness). This was a very easy drive from SJC and very reasonably priced. The breakfast was great. The fresh pico de gallo was a highlight. My only complaint is temperature control in the room. It seemed humid if the A/C wasn't on.

This was a nice surprise. The price was just right for a night stay while picking up guest from out of town. Rooms where clean, pleasantly decorated, and comfortable. Everything you needed was provided. The room was quiet, no freeway or city noise. Would recommend this hotel.

My boyfriend and I stayed two nights for a nearby wedding and had a good, comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious and it was convenient having a fridge and stocked Keurig. We went to the onsite restaurant for lunch, which was delicious but the free breakfast was lacking...wouldn't recommend it, unfortunately. This was a good location, we were able to walk to some destinations and loved Los Gatos. The only issue (other than a boring breakfast) was that it was a bit loud in the mornings with kids running around outside our door. The Front Desk was very accommodating but the scent of air freshener was seriously intense! Overall this place worked out well for our visit and was relatively reasonably priced.

We were Le aving Los Gatos after 38 years for a new long haul CA destination, and needed to vacate for movers. Exhausted mentally and physically, we wanted (on very short notice), a peaceful and calm location in the heart of town and near the freeway. We had a blast and enjoyed Grill 57 for a late dinner upon arrival, and played "tourist" the following day. It was efficient, fun and a lovely experience!

We were here for 4 nights over the Thanksgiving holiday and every year we try another hotel in the area. I give this hotel 3 stars because of the decent amenities. They do try their best by having a nice Keurig coffee machine, lighted makeup mirror, decent hair dryer and comfortable bed and pillows, but the noise from outside and through the walls was crazy. The trash truck at 6:00am, right outside our door as well as anybody upstair from us walking around. It is an older remodeled hotel and they do try to make it best as they can. The breakfast buffet was pitiful with plastic silverware and barely edible food. All the staff everywhere was very friendly and helpful but 3 stars is all I can give it.

We stayed for a Wednesday night. Pd $305 for two double beds Hotel has been renovated . You could see outside around the door frame. Noisy. Our friends stayed the next night for $150 and they felt that was too much. We were there for a wedding and that was a hotel on the list for guests. Big mistake. One star is for the front desk. He was fine. I understand supply and demand but really felt this hotel is a two star at best Beware of best western!

Front desk personnel were very friendly and professional. The reception area smelled great. They had mints and free pens available to the customers at the reception desk. The room is small however it's very clean and cozy. It came with 2 very comfortable queen beds and 6 soft pillows in each beds. The room also had a refrigerator and kreurig for coffee and tea. 2 reasons why I didn't rate this hotel with 5 stars: 1) The walls are thin and I can hear the footsteps and doors opening and closing outside which were keeping me up at night. 2) The breakfast buffet was not good considering that it was served in a restaurant next to the hotel. Overall it was a decent hotel for a business trip. The area was very quiet.

I only have positive things to say about my stay here. The front desk was amazing and very helpful, the breakfast was great and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I very much look forward to the next time I get to stay here again. Just need another reason to head up to Los Gatos, and hopefully for a vacation and more than one night next time!

This is a very nice hotel , staff is warm and welcoming, very comfortable room and bed. Great breakfast. Quiet hotel with good restaurant next door, I would stay here again. Room was very clean and pleasing.

I stayed here while on business in the area. The property is an older inn with exterior entrance that has been recently renovated (though there is a section in the center with rooms inside). The room was nicely updated with modern decor, clean and comfortable. The bathroom and vanity area were well done and the room was well equipped. The service was very good - from easy and cheerful check-in to assistance with my bags upon departure. It is an an excellent location, very easy access to and from Hwy and major arteries, also close to town center. We enjoyed a good complimentary breakfast in the restaurant attached to the inn, with good service there, as well. The grounds are nicely landscaped and well kept.

Just on out last day here after spending a total of 9 days here. Great room, fab shower, my lad loved the pool. Great service and the cleaner did a great job. Location is very good. Would certainly stay here again. A very good price for what you get.

This Best Western is very nice. It has all outdoor entrances but is an upper scale room. The bedroom, bath room and extra areas make this a great place to relax and have fun. If you are traveling to the area this Best Western has a pool and is centrally located. The breakfast is provided free at a cafe that is located in the same parking lot. It is a small breakfast buffet but has scrambled eggs, juices, meats and potatoes as well as cereals and yogurts.

Very nice and clean. We stayed here for a family event and needed several rooms, and the staff was very accommodating. The rooms are modern and clean with updated amenities. The hotel is close to everything--fine dining, shopping and more!

My husband and I stayed at the BW inn at Los Gatos recently. It was very clean, well decorated, comfortable and high quality beds and bedding, and excellent staff! A 10 minute walk (though on a busy road) to the old town with shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Management - poor and not interested to solve client requests Where not able to pull a proper bill out of their systems. Rooms are old and dirty. Fridge was loud. Beds are uncomfortable. Free breakfast is cheap Not to recommend at all.

We arrived on a weekend at 2:35 PM on a Sunday. It is OK to deny checking in before official 3 PM, although we were never denied a room upon arrival 25 minutes before official check in time, on a non holiday weekend day. I begged several times to check if there was an available room, so they finally called by the wireless radio the cleaning team and see if there was a clean room available. The cleaning ladies ignored the calls. Then a cleaning lady P' descended the stairs, passed close to the front desk but ignored the front desk calling her. So I raised my voice and P' came to the front desk, unwillingly reporting that she prepared 6 clean rooms. It became clear that there were several rooms available, but the front desk staff had no knowledge about it. It also became clear that the novice front desk staff and the cleaning staff are not getting along. It seemed that the front desk staff was just waiting to end their shift and go home. Trying to charge 25% more - We reserved our room 4 months in advance, requested a room in the upper floor, near the elevator at a certain rate. Finally the guy went forward to check us in, requesting me to sign for a rate higher by 25%. I pointed out to him that our rate was different. At that moment, M' a more experienced lady showed up and the other staff members were gone. M' interrogated me about the rate and instead of honoring it, requested me to introduce her a printout of our four months old reservation. I went back to the car and provided her a copy. Nor M' neither anybody else ever apologized for trying to charge us 25% more. The king size bed room was newly refreshed and everything looked new. Although quite compact, it was comfortable. It was also equipped a capsule coffee maker. It never worked, so at 8 AM I contacted the front desk. They sent over a maintenance guy. In similar cases, the only immediate solution is to replace the machine. The maintenance guy came upstairs only to apologize that he had no knowledge how to handle the coffee maker and he recommended us to go and have coffee at the lobby. Wifi was free and OK. Parking was free. A limited hot breakfast buffet was served (at no charge) at the coffee shop, a lot better than a continental cold breakfast. With a more careful selection of front desk staff and training them to go out of their way, this facility could earn a 4.5 instead of 3.

Hotel has an excellent location; just out of town but not too far. Room was very pleasant as well as very clean. Great shower. Breakfast was a voucher for a fairly lousy buffet at a restaurant off premises, just at the other end of the parking lot. Not worth the 45 second walk. Hotel could be a 5, but for the breakfast and the price being a tad on the high side. It is, however, worth a repeat.

As a hotelier for nearly 25 years, I know how difficult it can be to operate a successful Inn and to win the coveted Trip Advisor Excellence Award. The rooms were very well appointed with everything you would need except a microwave but available in the lobby. The chairs & bedding were so very comfortable! Wifi worked great, the pool was small but wonderful. The décor was quite tasteful and the touches of art that focused on the city of Los Gatos was a nice touch. The property was extremely well maintained and I enjoyed its close proximity to the downtown and the neighboring attractions you will probably be coming to see. Although, several of the Front Office Agents I encountered were average, Myra was exceptional. I know this Inn would be happy to have her...I know I would! She was pleasant, engaging and extremely helpful. She took the time to print out directions and information to 5 points of interest she thought we may desire and had them ready for us when we check in. This was not requested by us at all but shows the length she went through to really go the extra mile. Upon arrival, I could tell they were very, very busy with phones and Guests so, it shows she didn't have to and probably didn't even have time to but still did. Above and beyond the call of Guest Service.

The Best Western Inn of Los Gatos was hard for us to find, but turned out to be a top notch hotel. The room seemed newly remodeled and very comfortable and quiet. The staff we met were extremely helpful and pleasant. The restaurant on site has excellent quality food. I highly recommend this hotel.

I needed a comfortable place to stay near Boulder Creek, CA for a wedding, and this place fit the bill. Check-In was easy and I was settling into my room shortly after. The bed was comfortable, and I was able to park right in front of my room. That's a real plus! Breakfast is your standard buffet fare, but served in a very nice restaurant attached to the hotel.

We loved this place. Beautiful rooms, fantastic bed (had fabulous sleep). State of the art lighting controls (somewhat of a challenge to figure out at first). Our room had one small window - so there wasn't a view, which wouldn't have been so great anyway given the location) because it is literally a 'road house'. It's situated below Highway 9 and the junction with Rt 17 so that all the highway noise passes well above the structure. Very calm and quiet. It's a quick drive to mid-town Los Gatos (University and Santa Cruz Streets). Reception Staff is young, energetic and friendly - and still learning its systems. The hidden treasure, though, is the attached restaurant -- Grill 57 (reviewed separately) that opens especially and only for the hotel's complementary breakfast - the kind of breakfast one would expect from a restaurant instead of one of those faux continental thingy-bobs one typically finds being offered out of a converted linen closet. So, this place is much better than, average and nearly Very Good: 3.75 stars.

This hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. They offer vouchers for a free breakfast which consisted of eggs, sausage, tater tots, cereal, oatmeal, muffins, danishes, toast, juice, coffee, water, and milk. The breakfast was good.

There are only a few places to stay in Los Gatos, and this Best Western is a reasonably priced choice. A two-story motel, it is definitely a step (or two or three) above a typical motel. It is also well situated for getting around Los Gatos and the environs. The rooms are large, with plenty of horizontal surfaces to put your “stuff,” and well maintained. The bed is comfortable, with plenty of pillows to discard when you actually go to sleep (and plenty of floor space to put them on). The rooms are very well soundproofed. One morning, we heard a baby's parents apologize to the guest in the next room that their baby had cried all night long. The guest had not heard any of the crying. The rooms also have a refrigerator, safe, and Keurig with high-end coffee choices. The only negative was the breakfast. It's free and it's varied, but the quality was definitely lacking. Stick to cold cereal or yogurt and you should be fine.

We were looking for an inexpensive hotel to stay at following a show at the Montalvo Event Center within 10 miles. We found the Best Western Inn of Los Gatos. Place was great! Newly renovated and very comfortable. Room was clean and people were friendly. The price for a 1 bedroom suite was very affordable for the area where the Inn was located and, despite its proximity to the Highway, it was exceptionally quiet with no traffic noise. Had a great fitness room with brand new Matrix equipment. Only minor complaints were 1.) the complimentary full breakfast at the Grill57, a restaurant next door, should have had enough food to accommodate guests ( I arrived 20 minutes before it ended and when I inquired about more eggs, I was told the kitchen would not make more. Scrambled eggs are cheap to prepare so I thought that request could have been accommodated) 2.). Maids were talking far louder than they neede to be on the balcony outside of our room at 7:45 in the morning. Despite these minor issues, I would stay here again and will certainly refer friends and family.

From booking through check-out, our stay at the Inn of Los Gatos was great! The second night of a 5-day road trip; our first impression upon entering the driveway was "wow" - and upon entering our room (upgraded to the suite), the "wow" continued. Our updated and well appointed room was extremely clean and welcoming, and the morning breakfast was better than most! Truly a great value, and we will surely stay here again if and when we return to Los Gatos!

We were so exhausted from traveling when we stayed here that we just put up with the smell so that we didn't have to move all of our luggage to another room. It smelled like mildew/musty and we even put essential oil on rags over the air conditioner to help clean up the smell. The staff was nice, as they let us check in at 11am so that we can rest before going to a wedding. If we complained, I'm sure that they would have moved us to another room.

Convenient location, attentive staff, clean comfortable accommodations that appear to be renovated recently, excellent restaurant on the property, excellent value compared to other properties in the area.Can't wait to return.

Hotel is Good. Well located, very close to highway access. It feel more like a motel than a hotel. Complementary continental breakfast was not impressive. Staff was nice and helpfull. Tv in my room did not work as espected.

The hotel as such is nice. Room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. Staff at check-in and check-out was very helpful. However, in the evening we asked for an extra towel, but had to ask twice and eventually picked it up ourselves from the reception. It seemed the request had been forgotten. We wanted to have a cup of tea in the evening, and as there was no tea of our taste available in the room, we went to get it from the business corner in the lobby. However, the water for the tea came through the coffee maker, so the tea tasted of coffee. Upon arrival, we had lunch at the 57 Grill which was nice, so we had quite high expectations to the quality of the breakfast buffet the following morning. However, we were quite disappointed to see that the breakfast was served using plastic and cardboard plates and plastic cutlery. Cereals were in a box which had just been opened and tipped over so that you could see what was in it. We had the choice of white bagel and white toast. The choice of tea available was several fruit flavoured teas and green teas and just one type of black tea - less than what is available at the business corner in the lobby. No other teas available from the staff. If you're on the upper floor, the movements from people in the corridor is felt in the room.

We stayed on a Saturday because we had an event nearby to attend. We were assigned room 217, which was right above the lobby, across from the elevator. Because the room faced the back, it was cave-like, with only a small, shuttered window to look out of. Even with the door closed, we could hear the elevator ding loudly every time someone used it. Discovered later that one side of the bed made a very loud sprong! sound (like opening a sofabed) when getting in or out. Also, the room next door turned their television on loudly at 6:30 am--think the walls must be kind of thin because it was pretty loud. Upon seeing the location and room, I should have asked for another room right away, but because we would be spending little time there, I thought it would be OK. I regretted it. I could tell the management was trying--they had nice amenities--comfy bed, shower cap, local art (love the pictures of the cat statures), in-room ironing board and iron. It's possible that the experience in a different room would be much better. So if you get assigned this room, my advice is ask for a different one.

A weekend getaway from the Carmel fog. Our kids jumped in the pool immediately and had a great time! The location is beautiful and clean. We ate lunch at the restaurant on site and were impressed with the quality of food. The hotel staff are gracious and accommodating. We will definitely return in the future.

Nice stay except the breakfasts don't change and very limited choice. Over 4 days it got boring. Also staff slow to refill breakfast items and they end up dried out and burnt. All 4 days there was no hot water in the container to make tea. Ran out of breakfast tea 1 day. Having stayed at over 30 nights in hotels this past year this was a very poor performance, shame as the hotel is nice.

We stayed in the King suite, which is great for a family. Nice decor, big bathroom, comfy bed. The staff was very friendly. This hotel is in a great location, close to downtown. Will definitely stay here again when in Los Gatos.

This hotel is just minutes from downtown, and offers all the amenities we needed- laundry, breakfast, and even a small outdoor pool. Los Gatos is fairly pricey but I knew Best Western would be a good value for us. We also enjoyed hiking at the Montalvo Arts Center on the way out of town.

We selected this hotel based upon location and price. The value was good for the region. I'm happy to say the room was large and very clean. It seemed recently renovated - no beige walls and the art was locally themed. The space was very comfortable for two adults. Our only disappointment was that it is arranged motel style with all room doors opening directly outside. The large window needed to remained covered, with nicely Louvered shutters, because you were fully exposed to every passerby. I'm not comfortable with this style from a safety standpoint. I'll ask more questions in the future. We were there on a Friday and Saturday. Noise was not an issue. The complimentary breakfast buffet was fine. You could see the chef in the kitchen with real eggs - no wondering if you were eating some sort of mix. We'll visit again.

The Inn of Los Gatos has been nicely updated. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The hotel's proximity to a new restaurant, Grill 57, is a plus. The complimentary breakfast was good. We had dinner there one evening and had a great experience. The hotel is very convenient to both the freeway and to downtown Los Gatos.

We stayed here for a quick getaway for the 4th of July weekend. The prices were cheaper than staying 30 miles away in Santa Cruz. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and the room was nice w/ a comfortable bed. The shower was a little odd, a glass cube and you can see yourself shower in the mirror. The only negative (small one) was breakfast. It's in a restaurant that shares a parking lot w/ them. It had all the usual yumminess like eggs, sausage, potatoes, toast and whatnot. The only issues were they had one worker who was making the food so if you wanted hot food only one thing was available at a time. I had eggs, waited and had potatoes. The hubby had potatoes, waited and had sausage. It wasn't a nice relaxing breakfast together. The other issue was the buffet had a weird set up. People were making a line to get food and the plates were in the middle of the table and the food was on the right and left sides and then coffee was on the end of one side and the utensils were on the other end so everyone had to keep cutting others off and a lot of excuse mes. I would stay here again in a heartbeat if I was in the area. Only a 30 minute drive to the beach and lots of stores near by to load up on snacks and drinks

Absolutely wonderful service and room. Tanisha is fantastic..so welcoming and efficient. A very comfortable and relaxing room that was quiet and clean with perfect decor. Restaurant WONDERFUL (and quiet) at same location. The dinner was quite gourmet and yet good value. The breakfast included eggs, sausage, potatoes, juice, pastries, and hot/cold cereals. Breakfast was included in my overnight stay.

Nice room. Not large, but enough for 1 night passing through. Good breakfast. Easy to find on way from Airport. The front desk staff was very helpful giving directions to locations downtown for lunch and shopping. Very close to Big Basin State Redwoods state park, our destination. This site is a good location for business trip stop. Rooms are good for 1 to 2 people and it is easy to get to major roadways, but set in a more residential area which is very quiet. Has a fitness center and neighborhood looks good for walking and jogging.

My children & I just love staying at your hotel!!! The beds & numerous pillows are so extremely comfortable we sleep all night long. we got to enjoy the pool this time and I was happily surprised that it didn't go deeper than 4.5feet!!! My kids were able to safely swim and play while I enjoyed the warm sunshine. The other benefit is not only is your facility 3mins away from Grandma/Grandpa in Los Gatos... but it is so centrally located, we were able to visit stores & parties in Sunnyvale, Cupertino & Willow Glen with only a <10 drive in any direction!!! we will ALWAYS stay at the Inn of Los Gatos. :) Improvement Suggestions: small fridges in every room, extra towels for 3+ guests

The inn is just fine but the staff are the real heroes- the front desk Sarah was amazing- so friendly and welcoming. Got to my room and needed some ice so followed signs to find ice- led me back to Sarah. She kindly accompanied me as I had neglected my key which is needed for pool and ice access. The pool is inviting. Rooms are ok - not super fancy but all updated and very clean. Location is easy- close to both downtown and highway. But Sarah is the real STAR!

This is definitely a Plus location. Very clean, bedding was comfortable, and property location ideal with beautiful view of hills. We definitely recommend this location. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The cherry on top was the breakfast voucher. Doesn't get any better than this.

My niece was getting married in the Santa Cruz area so we stayed here for the wedding. The room itself was very nice. But, it was bit pricey for a Best Western. The decor was beautiful and the bed was comfortable. A big bonus was Xfinity cable with an HD television which was great. The one problem was the toilet that made noise intermittently during our entire stay. And, housekeeping started early so we could hearing their carts rolling along before 7am on a Sunday morning.

Stayed at the Inn at Los Gatos because of its close proximity to Mountain Winery (approx. 8miles). Service was impeccable (big shout out to the very sweet Tanisha at front reception and GM Gavin for making us feel so welcome). And a special thanks for going the extra mile when my girlfriend left her purse behind and didn't realize until we were already in Carmel! You guys rock!! Oh yah, one of the fellows who worked there even helped us with a ride to the store for supplies! Customer service went above and beyond. Fresh renos. Clean premises. Onsite restaurant was handy and served great lunch. Continental breakfast was inclusive and was a bonus to our Canadian budget.

Clean, quiet comfortable, good WiFi, what more could you ask. Been here several times. The new restaurant Club57 was great. The tenderloin was perfect. Beer selection could be greater but I like a variety.

I found my experience at the Inn of Los Gatos to be !00% satisfied!!! The staff and ambiance of this hotel was beautiful. The added bonus of my stay was dining at the restaurant next to the hotel, Grill 57. The food and service was incredibly fantastic! When booking this hotel one should also book a fine lunch or dinner at Grill 57. You will not be disappointed and it saves you from having to go into Los Gatos where parking is a great problem!!

The staff was so friendly and accomodating. They were so helpful as I used the K-Cup machine in the lobby. That peppermint tea before bedtime really hit the spot. This is my new number one spot, for sure!

The hotel has totally been remodeled. It's centrally located, quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff Jen & Tanisha were great. Very helpful, friendly and provided over the top customer service. We plan to stay again on our next visit.

This was a very clean place to stay. The staff is very friendly and helped with anything we needed. The towels were nice and fluffy and smelled great. We were on a lower level and it was usually quiet. However someone with a few boys stayed above us a few nights so it sounded like we were below a bowling alley while they were there. Breakfast was available but not anything great. I would like it if there was a curtain over the bathroom window. Even though it's the kind of glass you can't see through too well, because we were on the ground level, I felt like someone could look in. I would recommend this to anyone and I would stay here again.

I came out here on a fluke with my family and so glad I found this face and los Gatos. The best Best Western. Super clean, modern and staff was crazy helpful plus their continental breakfast was more like a Mexican deliciousness grub! They 57 was awesome too. Also the pool is kinda heated and super chill. I already told a couple of people to come here. I can't wait to come back.

The remodeled Best Western is really lovely. The rooms are new and clean. For the area, it is a reasonably priced accommodation with all the basic amenities. When we were staying there, there was an issue with our reservation (we booked one night online then added a second night via phone). Only our first night was in the system, but Isiah at the front desk worked with us tirelessly to make sure we had a room and were taken care of. I think we were both a bit overwhelmed by the situation, but he continued to reassure me he would figure it out and he did. He called up to our room to give us updates as he had them, so we could continue getting ready for the wedding we were in town for - really appreciate that! He kept a positive attitude and did all he could to ensure our stay was great. Thank you!

This is a sweet place nestled in the hills of Los Gatos - nothing fancy, but ample sized room (we had a king bed) in a motel like setting. They just opened a new restaurant, Grill 57, on the premises which makes all the difference as they offer (with breakfast vouchers) the free hotel breakfast (which was "fake" cheese omelets with pork and chicken sausages at the original hotel) that includes three yummy choices - we got the breakfast burrito, fruit, toast, coffee, juice...Unfortunately the water for the whole place was turned off by some ne'er do well person one morning, (scary that it was easy for a stranger to do) but they discovered the problem in a reasonable amount of time and gave us a $50 refund for our trouble which was most appreciated. We asked the front desk for extra towels and hangers - they were very accommodating. Lovely atmosphere and pleasant staff added to our stay. I would for sure recommend!

I liked the look and over all feel of the room. The bed was super comfortable, and the internet worked grate. The shower was not so good only because I am 6'-4" tall and it was set for a 5' tall person. Only real problem I had was they painted the parking lot lines the day I was checking out. So when I returned to get my things together there was no place to park.

I haven't stayed at a Best Western Hotel for many, many years. What a nice surprise to find that this hotel brand has upgraded their aesthetics and attention to detail. I only needed a room for one night on a business trip. Though I was in the room room for less than 12 hours, I felt comfortable and unbothered by anything at all. Recommendation without hesitation.

Place is an excellent stay if your in the area looking for a hotel. The staff are great and the rooms are very nice and clean. Linens are nicer than your average place. Hotel is conveniently located as well.

Your downfall for this property is that you have no area in your room or near the food prep. room to eat. Poor planning on your part. Is it expected that all those eating use the front lobby tables????

Overpriced and cramped. Paper thin walls & floors leading to noise. Staff attempts to compensate for the overpriced poor property. Prices for rooms continue to rise without any improvement in quality. Go elsewhere

This is our go to hotel when we are in Los Gatos seeing mom. Convenient and inexpensive for a south bay hotel. Though its little lite on towels and amenities. Its a quiet and comfortable stay. Very close to downtown with its restaurants and shopping. This is a gem of a place in an overpriced under serviced area. You can't go wrong here.

The room was very nice and clean but the plumbing from the neighboring rooms was loud. When the shower came on it sounded like a freight train. Breakfast area is inadequate with no tables to eat at. They did provide trays to take food to rooms. Food selection was good.

The room was exceptional and updated. The hotel will be finished with the dining area within the next 30 days and I would definitely go back. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I am there working and I need quiet, and this filled my needs and I could sleep well.

I enjoyed my stay at this motel. It was tucked away against a hillside and very quiet even though the freeway on-ramp was a couple of blocks away. It was within walking distance to area restaurants and shops.

I'm a local who needed to stay close to my mother who was dying. The inn was the closest hotel. It has recently been refurbished and show it. However, I left after 3 nights and moved to another property a mile further away because of rude, uncaring, staff. I will never recommend this place to out of town visitors who ask where they should stay. New rugs don't make up for bad service. And it's NOT a bed and breakfast. It's a bed and do it yourself largely prepackaged, unhealthy affair.

I booked this hotel from out-of-state, based solely on all the glowing reviews. It was a bit of surprise (though it should not have been) to show up to the hotel and see that, oh yeah, it's a Best Western with room doors facing out to the open. I was traveling alone with my young daughter, so I was nervous at first that we weren't going to be/feel safe. But, honestly, this hotel was really nice. The guy at the counter was super friendly and helpful when we first arrived. The rooms are really nice, really clean. The location is right by the freeway, but still kind of tucked away. You don't hear any traffic or noise once you close your door. You also can't hear other guests or their TVs while you are in your room. My only complaint--and it's more of a warning, really--is that there is only a shower in the room (no tub), so be aware of that before booking this hotel if you have kids who want or prefer baths. Also, the shower head isn't very high up. It was fine for me (I'm 5'6"), but anyone over 5'10" or so is going to have to seriously shrink themselves to fit underneath the shower head. Still, despite my initial reservations, my daughter and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

The Best Western Los Gatos is a very nice simple hotel. The rooms are very well appointed, the breakfast is sufficient and the location is very convenient. The staff is very nice and the coffee was terrific.

Attractive, functional motel with helpful staff, a little hard to find by GPS. Skip the breakfast and take advantage of nearby great restaurants. Good access to CA17, north and south, proximity to San Jose, Campbell, Cupertino, Mountain View, Saratoga. Wish there were closer tennis courts.

I enjoy staying at this hotel when working in San Jose area. It's clean quiet and convenient. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Can't wait for the restaurant to be completed. The rooms have been renovated and have a nice layout for working. It's a Motel but I like parking close to my room.

Doing work up in Dos Palos California was Kinda quirky? There really was not much to eat in the small farm town. There were cows in the front Yards of Houses! and we had to stay in the near by town of Los gatos 20 miles away or so.The cleanest looking Hotel was the Best Western Clean rooms and a very hospitable young Indian couple ran the place. which is very common in the hotel business.

Stayed here while visiting family in the area. The hotel has been recently renovated, so recent that our room still smelled like paint. The fumes gave me a headache. The decor is pleasant, the pool heat does not get turned on until easter - despite the advertisement of a year-round outdoor pool. The showers are cold between 6 and 8 am. What i really like about the hotel is the swift management response to inconsiderately loud, drunken guests. Your sleep here will not be disturbed by people partying.

Recently remodeled hotel. Nicely appointed rooms. Easy parking. Close to many great restaurants and shopping. Very quiet location. Small pool. A bit expensive for a Best Western, but close to Silicon Valley drives all hotel prices higher.

This hotel provides free parking, free wifi and free breakfast. I love what they offer for breakfast. Variety of food, however with limited seats. Breakfast was served at the lobby. The bed was so comfortable and the room is spacious. We had a very good sleep here. The front desk staff is very very helpful giving us information about where to go in Los Gatos and Santa Cruz.

This was not where we wanted to stay! But it is where we ended up because we could not get a room in Santa Cruz. But after the stay, we were quite satisfied with the Best Western Los Gatos! So much so that we will likely book here for our next visit to the area!

We are currently staying at this hotel and the rooms are fine. However we've stayed at Best Westerns all over the country and this is the worst breakfast experience of them all. The choice of food is poor and worst of all there is no place to sit down and eat. You may get lucky and get one of the few seats in the lobby. If not you have to take the food back to your room. Not sure how the Best Western brand lets them get away with this!

We visit our children several times a year and have always, over the last couple of years, stayed here. This time we were disappointed on two fronts. They always have had a free breakfast, which they still hav, but it has been moved to the lobby where there is no sitting area and it has been down scaled a lot. Then on top of this the service in the room seems to have deteriorated. Three towels when we arrived but after the first nights stay we were down to two. I guess they expect a one shower a day. Then they furnish the room with a coffee maker and have always furnished you with a bottle of water to make it or just drink. A bottle was waiting when we arrived but they did not replace it. Either management is making some cost saving changes or their staff is doing a poor job or both in this case. We will have to consider if we will continue staying here on our future trips.

I worked for a Fortune 500 security software vendor and had to make business trips to the valley often. When all the decent hotels in Sunnyvale, Mt. View and San Jose booked up, this was a go-to property. While a bit out of the way, I could be at my office in 30 minutes, which I found reasonable. This Best Western had full makeover recently and the room and grounds are all modernized. Rooms are somewhat small, but modern very comfortable with good quality bedding, towels, LCD TV, air conditioning, etc. Pool area small but does the job. Great free breakfast in the morning with good assortment of food, including hot choices like egg omelet and sausage patties that can be made into a breakfast sandwich; fresh fruit, juice, yogurt, good coffee etc. also. Staff is very courteous and professional and helpful. Los Gatos is a nice little town with lively strip of restaurants, bars etc. so plenty of eating choices nearby. A restaurant was being built at the end of the hotel during my several visits to this property in 2014 and 2015, but that may be done by now. Ask to be sure you won't be put in a room next door if it's still under construction.

Great upgraded BW facility. Very comfortable rooms, extra clean and great staff. Reasonable price for the location. Easy access on/off freeway. On site restaurant was being renovated but lots a good local restaurants nearby.

The room was clean & new. Quiet, comfortable. The breakfast was good. Everything worked properly. The location was great. Right off the freeway. Close to town & some great eating places. Most of the staff were nice & helpful. But there were a few bad eggs that were just trying to pull their paycheck & do the least that they needed to do to stay employed. There were a couple of women at the front desk that were very curt. One of them made you feel guilty for even asking her do something. There were workers that were just playing video games &/or social media on their phone when they should have been working. So though there were good workers the bad ones were bad enough for us to rate the service poor. And for the price that we were charged, $200.00/night, this is not acceptable. That's why we would have a hard time recommending this hotel.

Only stayed one night on our way back to the San Jose airport from visiting our daughter in the Santa Cruz area over the holidays. Very Convenient to Highway 17. Easy to make reservation online. Little bit of a chore finding the hotel in the midst of temporary construction work on neighboring buildings. Hotel Front Desk (very professional) told us the hotel had gone through major renovations within the past two years. Our room looked brand new. Very comfortable and quiet second story room overlooking our parked car. Strong Internet. Reasonably priced for silicon valley area. Breakfast room very convenient immediately below our room. Would recommend it to anyone visiting the silicon valley area.

The hotel was very nice. Modern inside. We had a one day event to go to in Campbell and they were very nice about a very late check in. On a diamond member with Best Western and this one I will stay at again if in the area.

Room is clean and comfy. centrally located....about 1 mile from downtown. Shower head is low so it could be a problem if you are super tall. Was disappointed the pool was always in the shade. They offer free wifi but I was never able to connect to it.

Los Gatos is a charming town. The Inn is a 10 minute walk across HWY 17 from downtown. We arrived a little early, 11AM, and the front desk receptionist was very concerned because she wasn't allowed to check us in until 12PM. It was evident the Inn was not fully booked however, we waited in the lobby and were given a room on the second floor. IT was a very comfortable and clean room. The furnishings were modern and spacious. The only odd thing we noticed was the proximity of the toilet to the sink, it was odd. I was grateful for the iron in the closet and the bed was extremely comfortable. I also liked the Kurig coffee maker in the room and lobby, as well as the fresh baked cookies in the lobby. I would have appreciated an early check-in accommodation, but we got the feeling it was lack of experience, not rudeness, that made us have to wait the hour. Breakfast was fine, nothing fancy. We've stayed at the Lodge across the street and definitely enjoyed The Inn a great deal more. We will stay here again in the future.

Had several concerts back to back at the Mountain Winery and this place offered a location near by without breaking the bank. I love how best western has revamped their rooms. They have certainly kicked it up a notch... Don't hesitate to stay overnight.

My daughter lives in Los Gatos and was getting married. Family and friends rented 7 rooms at this BW. We all had a good experience at the motel. My husband enjoyed the pool and the touch screen map in the lobby. I enjoyed the iced lemon water in the lobby. It was great that we could all eat breakfast together in the mornings. Everything was clean and in working order. Only complaint was a noisy trash truck picking up a dumpster at 3:30 AM one morning.

The renovation here is a model for Best Western. The furniture and fixtures are more in line with higher level properties. Especially impressive is the room artwork paying homage to the town history. Breakfast quality is currently an issue until the new breakfast room gets built. They get a pass for that for now.

Have stayed here every time I come to the Bay area. It's a nice hotel with very friendly staff. The location is great. They are walking distance to downtown Los Gatos which has a nice mix of restaurants and shops.

We read the reviews of this place, which is why we stopped. But holy cow! They weren't kidding. Clean, comfortable, and upscale, it really surprised us. The bed was fabulous, the sheets were divine, the room was large, the quality of the fixtures impressive. These folks obviously take pride in what they're doing. Good for them!

We came from Texas for a brief family reunion and tried the Inn at Los Gatos. I usually only write good reviews, but I feel others need to know the issues we had that the staff didn't seem at all concerned with, such as: -Our room had a constantly running, noisy toilet (during a major California drought). I told the front desk who said she knew, but said maintenance was out that day. (We turned off/on the shut off valve ourselves whenever we had to use the toilet....gross.) -There was NO HOT WATER - we took tepid showers--it was miserable. The front desk did nothing and didn't offer a room change, discount, or apology. -The desk clerk charged me an mysterious 'incidental fee' right at check in and I only found out when I got a credit card alert on my phone that I noticed didn't match the room charge. She denied it and I had to make a 20 minute phone call to get it removed. I never found out why exactly I was overcharged. The good things were: -Decent location and cute, clean little room -Very nice, separate sink/basin area for getting ready with a big make up mirror -In room Keurig and fridge -Nice continental breakfast with waffles and mini omelettes. If you stay there, avoid room 109.

This is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. We were welcomed warmly by a man at the front desk. Check-in was easy and quick. Our rooms were clean and modern with all the amenities we could ask for—hair dryer, iron, shower cap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, even individually wrapped makeup remover. There was a coffee machine in the room and free coffee and biscotti in the lobby. The free breakfast was good. I especially appreciated that they offered almond milk in addition to skim and 2%. The bed was comfortable. The only negative was that the young woman at the front desk throughout the rest of our stay had very little knowledge about the area and could not answer questions. She seemed uncomfortable with customer service.
