Best Western Plus Glendale

We had an overall good stay here. Room we had was clean and had wooden floors. Hate carpets in hotel rooms. Pleasantly surprised they cleaned our room after our first night. We enjoyed the hot breakfast. They had a variety to chose from like eggs, bacon, tater tots, bread, oatmeal etc. Taking one star off only because they pool wasn't clean. My daughter was disappointed she couldn't swim.

The table and floor near the table in the hotel room had some kind of sticky substance on them. The faucet in the tub was not properly installed and almost came off when I pulled the pin to turn on the shower head (which was very leaky). The elevator door would not shut properly, leaving the elevator unusable 4 of the 6 times I tried to use it. The downstairs vending machine was "offline by vendor." The hotel itself is located very close to the highway, and the sounds of traffic are extremely audible through the thin walls.

This Best Western Plus is in a great location!! It sits right off highway 2 & highway 134 making it easy to travel into downtown Los Angeles or too Universal Studios and the Burbank Airport!! This hotel is also located very close to the Americana and the Glendale Galleria!!!

My experience was so excellent at this hotel. The hotel was extremely clean and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and polite. I would stay here again when I come back to LA! Thank you!

We had no major issues. Staff was all very kind and room matched description. Food and stores all in proximity. Breakfast was delicious and my family enjoyed our stay. Universal was only 20min away. The price is great for what the rooms has and we would stay again when visiting.

I have stayed in the Best Western in Glendale several hundred times in the last three years. It is comfortable and freeway convenient for LA and both valleys. The staff is attentive and quick to check the folks in and provide local directions. I like the proximity to the restaurants and banking that make staying out of town a little more satisfying.

It's more a standard Best Western of the better kind. I don't see why they have the Plus label, but it's a decent place. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean. I'd come again. But it's nothing special. Breakfast was very basic

I stayed here just for the night since I wanted to be close enough to LAX. Most other hotels were too expensive for being last minute. I have stayed here before and I knew it would be a good stay. Everything was clean and we had no issues.

The Best Western Plus was rated high but after staying one night we will not go back. The mini refrigerator did not work, wife had medication and luckily, we had an ice chest. The shower worked, but was leaking very badly from the shower flange. Package was to include a warm breakfast, but due to staffing issues a grab and go brownbag was available, that included a bottle of water, a small apple, a breakfast bar, and a small wrapped muffin. Ended up having to drive out to get breakfast and then come back to check-out. Lastly, when checking in attendant mentioned something about pay parking that we were not aware of.

My 1st night killed a large spider and my son 13yrs was bitten in the face and I was bitten on the leg. Left a large purple mark and itch for the duration of our trip. Still have mark on leg and it's been a week later. Moldy smelling room and developed a cough check the bottom of the doors there is about a 3/4” gap that allows bugs to enter. Loud noises preventing a good nights rest.Staff is ok although key stopped working after night 3. Will consider other hotels next time.

Considering the area it's in (close to freeway), it's a nice hotel. Rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable and firm. Ask for extra pillows or bring your own because they are small. Parking not included it's $9.

While the facility itself was clean and adequate, the location of the property is awful and the noise from other guests running up and down three floors and yelling and fussing at 3:00 in the morning was incredible. The building is backed by razor wire and barred windows in the bathroom if that tells you anything AND you have to pay a nightly fee to park your car in their on site parking LOT!

The staff are excellent, the hotel clean and comfortable. It is right next to a freeway and major street but is pretty quiet and, most important, close to our family in Glendale. Close to lots of amenities, like Target, Popeyes, Pizza Hut. Great for families.

The floor above us sound like a tap dancing studio and a bowling alley all night. There was a man screaming all throughout the night. You could hear every loud motorcycle in the semi truck from the freeway. I'll spend the extra money next time.

Glendale Best Western is close to a variety of so. cal. locations and freeways for an quick beginning to your commute. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is decent for travelers. I enjoy the variety of restaurant within a few mile to have a meal or watch the game with associates.

Rooms were not ready upon arrival, staff was not welcoming or very kind. Room was very stuffy, bed was very uncomfortable and the guests above us were so loud through the night. Could have been better for what we paid.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful with suggestions for dinner. The parking lot was full, but the property was quiet and clean. I will definitely stay here every time I'm in the area.

This hotel is located in a convenient location nearby Eaglerock shopping center/mall good restaurants and shops. Love the area as it is a hidden jewel in the part of Glendale that meets Eaglerock. I always stay there when I'm in the area.

The best Western plus provided a pleasant stay where it's staff were very professional, informative, and friendly. The room was extremely clean and comfy. For sc-fi fans out there will be pleased that Best Western Plus's cable provider includes the Sc-Fi channel.

It was an overnight stay, short but service as expected. It was a great stay and all were excellent and commendable. Safe, clean and access to elevator, breakfast was easy and room was comfortable.Location just perfect to our venue.

Hotel room catered to our needs. Hot buffet breakfast was a plus. Request for a crib for an 8 month old baby was accommodated at no cost. Location was near restaurants and close to our Thanksgiving family gathering. Parking fee of $9 was fine considering it is LA area.

I expected a hotel, but this was more a motel. The room on the first night had a lot of cleanliness issues, though the shower seemed newly renovated. I complained to the staff the next day and they properly cleaned the room.

The hotel was nice, the rooms were very clean. Breakfast was good, they had many options from cold to hot foods. I felt like breakfast started a little late @7am, but that was fine. The location was good it was near the freeway and a lot of restaurants close by.

This hotel was convenient to the freeway, food and shopping and not far from downtown Glendale but was basically an old motor lodge that had been updated and didn't feel much like a BW "Plus." Minuses - parking is not free, it was fairly noisy, the free breakfast was only offered from 7-9 weekdays, the pool closed early and the parking spaces were tiny. On the plus side, the room was comfortable (albeit with odd lighting options and an AC unit that had all the buttons rubbed off so you couldn't read what they did), most of the amenities worked and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

I know when staying at a Best Western you cannot expect a whole lot but this place is bottom of the Best Western barrel. Dirty, run-down, small stinky rooms, and apathetic staff. I think I will never be able to stay in Best Western again after this experience. I booked my room ahead of time, a big mistake,.I ended up paying way more ( $163) than the people who booked the week ($115). As I was checking in and it was obvious my stay was 50% more than everyone else the response. That never feels good. On top of that, the first room they gave us was a storage room, literally, with boxes of coffee pots to the ceiling! Of course, I asked to speak to a manager but was told no managers would be on duty until after i check out the next day.

1. No internet available, complained twice to front desk. Was told it would be fixed Monday, on Monday morning I was told by front office lady if I did not like staying at the hotel, I could check out now. No empathy and no desired to fix problem with lack of internet. I asked for discount for lack of internet and was outright refused consideration in a very nasty way. 2. Pillows in bed were sofa throw pillows (small), not standard bed pillows, complained and told that is all they had. Bathroom sink & shower had extremely low water pressure, complained and was told that is normal. 3. Took 30 minutes to check into a reserved & confirmed room, desk clerk has to call supervisor, told us problem with their computer system reporting my reservation incorrectly. 4. Front desk attitude was horrible, no concern about the customer at all.

I LOVE this hotel is still standing! They're always planting new plants/gardens all around hotel its GORGEOUS the gardens in such a small space! :) from the beta fish to the landscape green garden rugs in lobby TO the cozzzzy bed to sleep sound in! i was even able to wash ALL my clothes in room with soap/hot water drying in cali fresh air outside railings! :) this location is perfect for commuters needing sleep on way home and also discounted on apps to find for souls in dire need of a affordable place to sleep safely unlike airbnb proving unsafe for clients with fraud hosts or abusive hosts who cancel reservations after check in for absolutely no good reason whatsoever (they've never met the client, dont konw the client. so any not liking them is still not a reason?) hotels like this NEVER violate a human beings rights that way. this place is SAFE from airbnb abuse hosts! :) :) :) thank you for saving me best western plus Glendale! sincerely missionaries/seers everywhere <3

Had the worse experience ever. My husband and I booked a room and had our friends book their room here as well, as we went on vacation together to Universal Studios. My husband and I stayed here in the past and had a good time, decided to stay again. Because of covid and monkey pox I wanted to be extra careful and brought my own blankets and pillow covers, and many cleaning products. I sanitized and cleaned the room, made the bed and all seemed fine. When sleeping I started feeling a burning sensation in my body and woke up. I went to the bathroom at 3am to find my left arm had 3 insect bites, and my leg as well. As I inspected the bite and realized it had to be bed bugs. I turned the lights on and inspected the bed and right away found a bed bug in my side of the bed. I grabbed it and killed it, woke up my husband and we went to the front reception right away. The lady in reception seemed to not be properly trained, and her solution was to move us to another room. I was in distress and just wanted to leave. We asked to have the rest of our stay canceled and this night refunded as we had no intention of returning to sleep in the room. She said she had to talk to her manager but could cancel the rest of the reservation. She checked us out and canceled the 2 remaining nights. We went to the pharmacy as I had an allergic reaction to the bites and my arm and leg was swollen and burning. We stayed in the car the rest of the time as there were no hotels available until later in the day. Our friends stayed in their room as they couldn't cancel and leave with us. We stayed at a different hotel. The manager was suppose to call us about our issue but only called once. We missed his call, called him back multiple times and never heard back. We have yet to hear anything. The entire vacation I spent sick with a swollen arm and leg. The next night as we were dropping off our friends who remained in this hotel, they were unable to open their room. The same lady who "helped" us freaked out and tried to move them to another room while all their things were in their room. My friend said no you need to call your manager and get me in my room. I have all my clothes and belongings in there. She was on the phone running back and forth, from lobby to my friend's room. My friend had to instruct her on what to do and help her find the emergency keys they have for these types of cases. We almost gave up, and my friend told her she would need to have a locksmith come open the door as her check out was tomorrow morning. Eventually the door was opened. One of the emergency keys worked after all. We were in shock with the lack of training or solutions the staff had. She was very upset and asked to speak with the manager. He never contacted her at all. We will never stay here again, both customer service and bed bugs are enough to keep us away forever.

Location was great. Near shopping areas, food stores, grocery and pharmacy. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The GM, Gary was amazing! Requests were all granted. The front desk staff, Kristine, was very friendly and helpful. Reasonable rates. We will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Bugs and noise are my biggest complaints here. Staff was nice. We found flying bugs in our room on two consecutive nights. They were on the ceiling and dropping onto our beds. Bathroom sink was draining very slowly. Slow internet, dropped off frequently.

A pretty straight forward Best Western, if you have stayed in one before. Not bad, not great…a good place to stay if you can get a good price. Parking is pretty tight, even for my Toyota, but some rooms, you can park right in front of your room. The room was quiet, we didn't hear much road or freeway noise. There was an elevator for the 2nd floor if needed. There is a pool, but we didn't use it. Breakfast was pretty much the normal stuff. The neighborhood appears sketchy…our room was on the park side, and the local police seemed to be there a lot. There is food and a small mall down the street on the other side of the freeway, which we walked over to, and had no issues.

Everything was very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The mattress even had a protective cover! The only problem I had was that the bed was a little too firm, but I still slept pretty well.

This location was good for going to Universal Studios. The cost was affordable compared to other locations closer to Universal Studios and fairly easy to get there. The hotel was very clean with an easy to use elevator. The staff was very helpful in helping us find our way around to freeways and Universal studios. The hot tub experience was a little disappointing as it was first too hot one night and then not hot enough the second night. We chose this location because it had a hot tub.

Do not stay here customer service is unprofessional they're rude and hate their job they charge $9 dollars for parking and don't tell you! And if you ever need toilet paper sent to your room you will have to go out of your hotel room and look for a cart in the three-story building and get one from there!

I booked a 2nd room for my friends coming from out of the country since we were flying in the morning to Europe. When I tried to check in at 1:45am into the 2nd room Hotel informed me that my reservation was cancelled and they had called my room 3 times to inform me. Management did not walk me to another hotel nor attempted to make it right. I had to sleep in the car with my wife and service dog since all hotels were sold out. What a terrible experience, no apologies given.. Awful Customer Service!!!

The hotel representatives were rude and eager to hang up the phone. Did not want to answer my questions and told me they were too busy to look up whether I had future reservations. The rooms are generally noisy and dusty. Hallways and corridors are rather unclean and the noise level is a problem. Will not be staying at this location nor do I recommend it.

We have stayed here in the past pre-remodel. The hotel is in a great location center to everywhere we needed to go. I would stay here again but I highly recommend to anyone that you ask what the parking fees are as the site only says "hotel may charge other fees such as parking" on the site and according to google reviews after staying here, I have seen different prices in the last few months. Also, if you are on the shorter side, the toilet is extremely high and I could barely touch the ground. Very bizarre design. Breakfast was very good as well.

Very clean property. Housekeeping and front desks are very friendly. No issue. I will come back. Breakfast is awesome and fresh. Thank you for wonderful stay. I like that the hotel has 24 hours coffee station.

The staff were all great, breakfast was good, and the room we stayed was clean. Parking fee of $9 per day is my only complain... $9 x 3 days = $27!!! We have stayed in other locations of BW and never had to pay for parking. If I could park on the streets, I would.

This best western has clean comfortable rooms with a pleasent staff and near by amenities. It continues to have good value and the daily maid service makes for a clean stay. All of the Glendale shooping is minutes away with a Target close by for quick supplies. Worth the stay.

I work on a job near Pasadena, CA on a regular basis and a couple years ago I started booking my overnight work trips at the Best Western Plus Glendale. I've tried a couple other spots nearby but this is the best in my opinion - and I have to travel a lot for my job. The rates are fair and the rooms are always really clean. The beds are also really comfortable too. It's conveniently located next to a freeway (which makes it a bit louder than some other locations) with VONS and Starbucks within 3 blocks. The parking lot can get a bit crowded at times but there's typically enough spaces if you arrive before 9PM.

I booked this stay on Expedia, accidentally on the wrong date. When I arrived at the property, the woman at the front desk informed me of the error. I asked if she could help me rebook my stay, but she said no, that I would have to deal with it myself. I then asked if there were any rooms available, and she told me there was one: a queen suite with a jacuzzi for $300. This seemed very expensive, but I did not have many options given that my transportation had already left and it was late, so I took the room. When I entered the room, it was dingy and smelled like smoke. Regardless, since I had to pay so much money for a room with a jacuzzi, I decided to make use of it. After carefully reading the instructions for the jacuzzi that were posted on the wall and first filling the tub with water, as instructed, I turned on the jets. Water shot across the room, drenching the floor in front of the tub. I immediately turned off the jet and went to the front desk to report the issue. The same woman who did not assist me to rebook my room was similarly uninterested in the fact that the facilities I paid for were malfunctioning, but a man sitting next to her informed me that the plumbing had been repaired that day and that there was still air in the pipes. I asked for a partial refund on the room, and the woman told me I would have to wait until the next day to call the manager. When I called the manager, Gary Gutierrez, the next day and explained the issue, he was extremely rude, immediately accused me of not reading the instructions without trying to understand the issue, and implied that the malfunction was my fault because I am a woman and so do not know how to operate basic appliances. When I told him I had been informed of the plumbing issue, he assumed that the front desk woman had told me this information and seemed to insinuate that neither of us knew what we were talking about as women. When I told him it was a man who informed me of the issue, he told me the issue did not exist. This was possibly one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had at a hotel, ever, for an extremely high priced stay. I would not stay at another Best Western based on this experience.

We decided to stay in Glendale over night before leaving via LAX the next day. Friday evening traffic in LA is a mess and the choice safes us an hour of travel time to LAX international airport. In the morning, I was hoping for a nice warm breakfast as offered. I was shocked, people without masks, running around in the breakfast room, talking right and left thru the room. The front desk girl, instead of reminding the guests on COVID regulations, she was walking thru the breakfast area, getting a tea, also without masks. I just got me a plate and left the breakfasts area asap. After this experience, I will accept longer travel time for avoiding such experiences in future. This was the only hotel during my one week trip to California where I had this type of experience. Not again.

Convenient location. Close to Americana on Brand shopping center, and all dinning restaurants. A short drive to all Hollywood attractions. Clean, and quiet location. Express check in, and amenities offer.

We stayed here with a group of friend while visiting the Enchanted Forest in Descanso Gardens. This is a basic hotel next to the freeway although we didn't hear any road noise. Overall a decent stay except that our bathroom light didn't work. I was going to tell the front desk staff when we left, but there was no one on duty when we checked out.

My stay was pleasure in this hotel all services were good and satisfactory the best things I appreciate is the sleeping mattress was real good and bath room facilities such as soap and hot water for shower

As a Best Western Diamond Select Member, I have never been so disappointed with a property before. The rooms were tiny, my room had a broken ottoman, broken Iron, ironing board did not work, faulty shower head, tile in the bathroom falling off the wall, no bathroom ventilation, and when you open the bathroom window (which is in the shower), you see the open windows of the adjoining apartment building. The "kicker" was, I asked for another room the second morning, the clerk laughed at me, more of a "snicker", telling me "the other rooms will be the same" So I only add TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE to this review. Lastly, they charge parking at this location, which was not presented before my arrival.

Glendale has one of the better properties with the Best Western on Colorado. There is parking, as well as street parking for savings, with food and shopping within walking distance. A park next door and several good restaurants to visit and stay.

Over all, I was pleased with this hotel and my stay. The area is a little ify but the hotel was very well taken care of and clean. The parking is a little tight but we got there early so we didn't have an issue finding a spot. The rooms were recently updated. Wood floors throughout. Bathrooms are updated as well. Air conditioner worked great. The only complaint I had was the bathroom did have a very small amount of mold along the corners. Beds were super comfy. I have back problems and I always worry about sleeping in a hotel bed but these were very comfy. The breakfast was good. They offered eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels, muffins, toast, oatmeal, and a yogurt bar. I was happy with the selection.

Check in was great and speedy. We arrived at 4pm and room wasn't ready. Water pressure for bathroom sink was very low. everything else in room was clean and enjoyable. Modified breakfast was self serve. Hostess wasn't wearing hand protection majority of the time, but kept telling guests to wear.

great courteous staff, leaking shower and noisy room due to people racing with their cars on the nearby highway. Breakfast options were bad. The grab n go was not very healthy. They could have done a better job.

The facility is well kept. While there was much street traffic the room was quiet enough. Staff was helpful especially Claudia. The parking spots are too narrow for pick up trucks and full size SUVs. The pop machine was not easy to work with and only had Pepsi products for which I am not a fan except when there are no other choices.

For what I had planned, the location was great. The room was good and was set up well for the floor plan. The refrigerator and radar range micro wave all worked. Parking was tight, but we always found a space. Our stay didn't work well for wanting to dip our toes in the spa. Parents of at least 8 under 7 yr old kids were in the spa for hours on end without room for anyone else to use it. Parents even had someone bring buckets of food for a picnic buffet at the pool area expanding all the kids water time while they ate in the water. Very disrespectful to the 2 of us just waiting over 1.5 hours to dip our toes in the spa. We stayed 3 nights and it never got better so we stopped trying to use the spa / pool area.

A loose floorboard panel caused me to trip and fall within inches of the steps that led to the Jacuzzi. Had I hit my head, that would've been the end. I'm still sore and bruised. Extremely negligent! The room should not have been allowed to be rented in that condition. Manager was responsive after I reported the problem, but still… that could've ended horribly.

Overall, this hotel is extremely nice and I would recommend. The location is near the freeway but can't really hear the noise once inside the room. Parking lot is a bit on smaller side but didn't have a problem. Staff was extremely helpful and nice. Location was excellent, freeway got to all the major places I needed to go within a couple minutes for LA traffic.

Motel was very noisy at night due to excessive noise from cars/highway as well as from late-night guests being quite loud. Shower was not cleaned (hair from prior guests) and shampoo/conditioner dispenser did not work.

I've stayed at many hotels, and can honestly say this is by far the friendliest staff I've ever encountered. This is why we keep returning to this specific hotel when we visit LA. It's off the beaten path, it's smaller but always clean. Such a nice little place.

This is a quiet hotel, even with it's proximity to the freeway. Great Italian food and Chinese near by and a sudo-mall right around the corner. Short drive to downtown Glendale where the food and shopping is top notch.

Great service, great information, they were kind enough to allow a late checkout. Very close to target which is convenient, great food choices around , and the service is quite lovely. Overall 5 stars!

The hotel is rated 3 diamonds by AAA. It does not meet my experience of a 3 diamond hotel. Rooms small. Not clean. A/c old and musty. Microwave and refrigerator old. Lighting poor. Only has harsh ceiling lights. Best feature is quality beds. This is an old hotel which has tried and failed to be upgraded.

1. This definitely meets the criteria of a solid average motel; which is a good thing. Here are my basic impressions: A: Good value; you can't go wrong with the price. B: The actual property is probably... aged, however the rooms have been refurbished; Bottom line, it's clean. C: When I was there, it was relatively quiet. As folks have noted and just by looking at the map, you'll realize that the motel is literally adjacent to the 2 freeway. Nonetheless, close the windows and I didn't have any problems. D: With all BW properties, the check in time is at 1400; excellent. E: In this COVID era, this is one of the few decent motel properties that allows access to your room from the outside; ie no need to go inside / walk through the lobby etc... F: The primary potential for most people—> location. Really look at the map and see if it'll work out for you. It's just a motel in the middle of busy LA / Glendale.

Great Best Western plus Colorado Blvd Glendale California for easy commute to NASA Pasadena CA jet propulsion lab and local Michelin star restaurant Raffi s place on Broadway ave. Easy commute to LAX and metro via Lyft.

I've had friends stay here, so I thought it would be "okay". The motel is located on a busy street (Colorado Blvd) and near the 2 freeway (more noise). Well, earplugs should help there. The room is small. Wifi DOES NOT WORK!! This after multiple attempts. I had to use my "hotspot" and I've been unable to work on my laptop to complete projects. Stressed and very unhappy!

We decided to try out this hotel as it is not too far from the major attraction and away from the busy city. This hotel is located in the corner of highway, therefore expect highway noise if you stay here. Parking space could be a bit challenging and tight but we have no problem getting one even we come back after 10:00 P.M. The wall is thin, we can hear the noise from vending machine and ice machine because our room is next to it. On the good side, the room and bathroom are very spacious. Outdoor pool on the premises. They are tuck in the far corner of the building and covered with shade from trees. They only offer valet laundry. Staffs are very friendly. Small breakfast area but they office a variety of selection. The days we stay there, they offered hot breakfast like sausage and bacon, there are also fresh cut fruits, Greek yogurt, and wide selection of bread, and pastry. They even have organic soy milk to go with your coffee or tea.

The staff was very friendly and took the time to explain the amenities. Breakfast consisted of several options. Scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles, coffee, tea juice. As well as fruit and muffins and soft serve yogurt. The room was clean and comfortable. We were not able to here any noise from the adjoining rooms. I would stay here again

if you're gonna stay here longer than a day, expect that your room is never gonna be ready or cleaned when you get back from whatever you are doing, i have to remind the front desk everytime i stay there, after a long day of work, you expect that your room is all good and ready otherwise why even stay in a hotel, it doesn't even matter if you are a loyal customer (Diamond), front desk will say that housekeeping is busy and they will clean it when they are ready, why do we pay this much in a hotel then? mind you BW is not cheap. only BW( Glendale) where i have to remind them to clean my rooom, some of the front desk are so busy on their personal phone, SMH

The very kind staff could not make up for the shortcomings of this worn out property. In addition to the obvious deferred maintenance (our bathroom door was so badly broken it wouldn't close) our room was quite loud. The plumbing and HVAC (??) noises in our room were intermittent and loud enough to be truly startling.

This place I will definitely come back. Breakfast is great. Front desk and mangement are very helpful and courteous. Cleaning worker are very respectful. Room are clean. Affordable location is great too.

We chose this hotel as it was affordable and close to where our family party was. It worked out just fine and was all we needed even had a microwave and mini fridge. It was clean and the breakfast was good the next day we were very satisfied. Manny helped us with a few extra requests and was great, We will be back!

I paid for the hotel on-line through the Best Western website beforehand with my AAA discount. We also stayed in the hotel for Thanksgiving last year as well. After the front desk clerk confirmed my payment and added the $100 incidental fee, she THEN told us that they also going to charge a $9 parking fee that was just implemented on top of what I had already paid. I asked why and I fought it, and she said it was a brand new policy, which was not included on the website / fee I had paid and she didn't have an answer. I asked where the policy was stated. They didn't know. This is false advertising and unfair business practices. I need a refund of my $9.

Drove to CA to pack up my sister up and move her to AZ. I found that the rest I got in my room helped me stay relaxed and focused. I appreciated actually being able to eat something good for breakfast and not feeling like I immediately had to run and find the nearest restaurant. I stayed an extra night and quickly snatched up another room. Thank you for a great experience!

The hotel is located right on the freeway 5, which you can hear in the room. The hotel is in a clean condition. Our room had laminate flooring (no old dirty carpet). The bed was of good quality. AC / Heater worked. TV complies with the latest technical standard. Bathroom neat, with large shower instead of a bathtub. Breakfast to American standard. Bus stop for Hollywood Blvd (180 or 181) is a 5 minutes walk. If a slight background noise does not bother you, it has solid accommodation here.

The staff here are responsive and helpful, everyone works really hard to make sure that the place is clean and operational. I come here every time I'm in the area because of the value and comfort. It's centrally located in the LA metropolis which makes it a great place to stay on business.

Hotel was clean, very nice, staff was pleasant and helpful. Our only problem was the cable tv went down. But that wasnt an issue for us and it was back up the next morning. We were pleasantly surprised. Our room was very comfortable and we would stay again if in the area. Highly recommend.

The cleaner walked into our room and woke us from a nap after we checked in. She was bringing the missing pillows from one bed didn't even knock even though the privacy sign was on our door. The hot tub was not hot at all! Very disappointing. Plus the gate to pool was not unlocked at hours it said had to ask them to open and wait around for 10 min before they did and to find that the hot tub wasn't hot.

I always stay at a BW hotel if available. I like their price , locations, cleanliness and especially the "courtesy" breakfast! The Best Western breakfast offers you a choice of: fresh eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, hot cereal, cold cereal, waffles, Too many to list. And really good coffee and juices. Staff is terrific and helpful.

Location is of medium quality, breakfast is the same daily, hot food quality wasnt very food. Boiled scrambled eggs with too much salt and sides were plastic tasting. Stick to the cold cereal or packaged oatmeal.

Parking is very limited and to make things worse you get charged 9.00 per day. and you come back to find out theirs no spots available other vehicles double parked and worse come to worse the offer you to park blocking other vehicles and you cant enjoy a good night sleep because you are waking up constantly to make sure your vehicle is still out there.

Overall it was okay, but you could hear the highway from the room and it was a little loud at times. You also have to pay for parking on top of the room cost which they don't tell you until you arrive.

I had a terrible experience here, and I would advise others to avoid this motel! My wife and I were looking for a quiet place to get a good night's sleep, so we booked 2 nights here. Upon arriving, we realized that the location is right on a busy highway. Traffic noise is very loud at all times. When we arrived, we could tell that it was not going to be a peaceful stay, so we immediately went to the check-in desk and asked to cancel our reservation and for a refund. However, the employee at the check-in was unable to issue a refund or even check us out. I called the manager, Gary Gutierrez, the next day. He told me that we were "not responsible" because we didn't know ahead of time that it would be loud there. He said he would not refund us and refused to give me the number for the general manager, because it was his job to keep customers from bothering the general manager. Overall, bad customer service, bad location, and bad experience.

Had a great experience. Check in was easy as well as check out. Rooms very clean had all the essentials. When asked staff for something they where on top of it. Breakfast was delicious felt as if I was at a restaurant. Overall a nice place to stay.

PARKING FEE NOT FOR ME! You will be charged $9 each day you park there.The spots are so small that a Mini Cooper is too big! Kind of greedy if you ask me! Even Las Vegas comps parking if you stay there

The sink and toilet are very high in this hotel! I felt like a child when my feet didn't touch the floor while toileting. And, it was very hard to wash my face because the sink was so high. That said, both the staff and the food both were fabulous!

high rate, close to the motorway, bad reception service. Traveling with a group of seven people, two of us anticipated the arrival: with the excuse that we should all be together, the receptionist did not want to accept the check inn, giving the excuse of not being able to find the prepaid communication, which magically it is stuck out when everyone arrives. You must pay a fee of $ 9 for unattended parking, which after paying in cash was also charged to our credit card (twice paid). I often travel to Los Angeles, I think I never come back.

the motel is located away from "new" glendale. it sits at the intersection of residential, commercial and freeway. they did a real good job updating this hotel. the staff was friendly and the breakfast was tasty. beware that there is a park fee of $9 per night.

I stayed at the Best Western Plus for 7 nights on a family vacation.It is a nice hotel, but there is much room for improvement. I called multiple times in advance to request room location, as well as to confirm my reservation. Reservations were made through booking.com. I could not get ahold of anyone, the phone just rang continuously.I was finally able to get ahold of someone on the day of arrival. I was told they could not find my reservation, which was made months in advance. Connection was poor. I asked for a room that I usually get, and was told it was not available. The manager, Gary, however got us a nice room on the top floor which we loved. When we arrived at check in, the credit card machine would not read my credit card.. Additionally, we were charged $9.00 daily for parking. I understand that some hotels do this due to high occupancy, or limited parking spaces. The lines in the parking lot are very faded. A lot of people are parking in 2 spots instead of 1, so there is not even enough parking for the guests who are staying, and paying for this. If you come back to the hotel after 8pm, there is no parking at all. 2 nights, we had to park on the street, even though we paid for parking. When we checked into our room, the floor was very slippery. I almost slipped due to this. The floors were cold, and laminate. Carpet is better. The room was very crowded. There is way too much furniture in the room, or perhaps Best Western should invest in smaller desks, entertainment centers and nightstands. The entertainment center door was broken, the latch would not allow the door to close, and it would fall off, and we kept reattaching it. We reported this to the front desk twice, but it was not repaired. The Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash come out of a dispenser, and you have to push it multiple times just to get a tiny amount out of it. The breakfast was not great. The eggs are very dry, or overcooked. They tasted like cardboard. There is no veggie option or turkey option for those who do not eat pork. every morning, the juice machine had watered down juice. Pool was dirty each day, we cleaned it so we could swim. Jacuzzi was broken for first 2 days, and we had to ask desk to turn on heater because it was freezing! I will say that the staff, housekeeping, and management are wonderful here. I just feel that the hotel is trying to save $$ in the wrong areas, and it is coming at the expense of the guest experience.

Problems at check-in (computer and card processor not working). The elevator door wouldn't open; front desk said, "It sometimes gets stuck." Not an acceptable response. Despite the floor in the room being laminate, it was dirty. This hotel has installed refillable dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I get the economics and waste reduction, but their chosen dispensers and the products in them were horrible. You have to keep pumping the dispenser to get enough out of it, and even then the stuff doesn't work. The soap and shampoo didn't lather, and the conditioner left my hair feeling like straw. The topper: When I went to leave, I wanted to get some ice for my cooler. There wasn't any -- the ice machine made no noise when I pressed the button. When I reported it at the front desk, the guy said, "It's probably because it's hot. A lot of people use it, and it takes time to make more ice. You can go to the Ralph's down the street." I so loved having to make an unplanned trip and spend more than $4 on a third of a bag of ice. The place was quiet, and the bed was comfortable, but I kept waking up because the bathroom light kept turning itself on. I had to get up to shut it off three times. If the place cost $50 a night, I'd get it. But for $130/night, I expect things to work properly, and for the service to be decent. Do not waste your money here.

The rooms were well put together. In my personal opinion the hotel was better than a 1 star hotel that it claims to be. Just had one issue with extending my stay and being told different rates. Other than that I enjoyed my stay. We originally had a terrible hotel at LAX initially and this best Western was 10x better then that particular 3 star hotel. The rooms were clean and I did like the location it was safe !

The hotel was great! It's a great value and the staff are kind. It's a simple room but great pricing; there's breakfast each morning; easy access around LA and to freeways; the rooms are cool and clean; and overall it's a good value.

Last minute stay here for 2 nights. AC very loud had to plug out when trying to sleep. Bathroom very small and room very noisy from the freeway. Staff pleasant. Room spotless. Can get over the things I mentioned above as the price is right and good location to the Americana at Brand.

Parking spots half the size of normal just to make more, water pressure very poor, pool dirty, hot tub broken, high speed internet didnt even reach second floor rooms, extra charges hidden parking $9.00 a day. Very very noisy. Doors do not seal at bottom. This property is not worthy of the best western plus title. Quality and amenities are sub standard at best. The area of this property is extremely sketchy.

Was unpleasantly surprised to discover that guests are charged $9 per night to park. The location is extremely noisy from the freeway and street traffic; although it cannot be heard in the room, it makes outdoor phone conversations impossible. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the jacuzzi was actually hot with great jets.

Right next to freeway. Room lighting either full-power floods, or dimmed spotlights, but no bedside lamps, which are softer light. They charge for parking, which is minimal-width spaces. Breakfast sub-adequate.

The hotel met the accommodation needs for my family including a wonderful hot breakfast. The room was clean and beautiful. Staff are very helpful. Check in and out was fast and easy. The hotel is right next to 2 very busy highways, recommend use of earplugs or a sound machine for sleeping. Overall, a good experience for the price of a LA hotel.

This was a quality Best Western that met my expectations with a courteous staff, clean and spacious rooms, and a quality hot breakfast. Still, I thought it was too expensive for what we got. There was also a $9 charge for parking every night. We stayed for two nights, but spent little time at the hotel. The first night we went to a Dodgers game which was about 10-15 minutes away. The second day we went to Universal Studios, about a 20 minute drive. For us, we just needed a place to sleep. The hotel was definitely above average, but did not offer any special amenities, nor was it close to any restaurants or entertainment. Again, I just thought the price was a bit much, but I did shop around online and I didn't find anything for as good of quality at a better price. As for the room itself, it was comfortable and quiet. The hotel is near a freeway, but there wasn't sufficient noise to interrupt our stay. The room was cool with the A/C on. I do wish though the bathroom had an exhaust fan.

I think that this hotel is great but has a few flaws. It was a speedy check in and out. I think also that they are very kind and organized hotel. It also is a big spacious and clean room. I don't like how the water gets out of the shower even with the door closed. I also think the wifi can be slow sometimes. What shocked me was the parking. Parking can be scary at night because there is not a lot of spaces so you would want to get back at a decent time. Also you are paying $9 a night for parking. They do not say this on the website itself or any where else I had researched. But overall a great hotel to stay at and definitely worth the money!

The lady at the front desk is so sweet and nice. She was extremely helpful and kind with whatever I needed. The room is beautiful especially the shower I loved it. Breakfast was amazing I would definitely recommend and stay there again without a doubt. There is a target about 5 min away walking distance it is so convenient.

I made a reservation at this hotel during peak holiday time and for the price, it was a really poor experience. Ironically, the hotel didn't seem that busy and we were assigned a first floor room...which made it inconvenient because we couldn't open the curtains and got the most of the noise from the freeway and nearby traffic. Although the room was clean, the shower/bath did not function very well. In addition, the soaps weren't refilled so that was extremely frustrating too. Luckily we brought our own soaps and used ones from another hotel funnily enough. I will not be staying here again and I recommend people to look elsewhere.

Was the best valued hotel all around. Free parking and free breakfast, nice remodeled rooms and good location for universal studios. We were able to do all the things we wanted as everything was within a 15 minute drive. Alot of food options close by the hotel as well. They let us pick our room and we got one in the first floor. There is highway noise in the bathroom but didnt bother us in the room. Parking can be annoying when people don't know how to park and take up more than one space.

Loved the clean room, good WiFi, hearty and timely breakfast and the friendly service. The team was hospitable and the warm smiles and efficient service made it all the more worth the stay. Breakfast till 10am was convenient esp on the weekend. May gave us great service. Will be back when next in town.

Stayed here for a vacation trip. Location was convenient to Hollywood and Vasquez Rocks. Room was clean and well maintained. The staff was helpful and hardworking. Breakfast had nice selection of hot dishes.

Stayed here because it seemed like the best hotel for the best value. The property has a nice modern look despite being an older hotel. Rooms were nicely decorated, but there were No lamps only overhead lighting. I needed a lamp to read by, they luckily had 2 to put in my room. The staff were friendly and hepful and the housekeepers did a great job. Street noise is loud, but I had ear plugs at night. Breakfast was really good, lots of hot options. Overall I had a good stay and it is located so close to many attractions it is a good hotel for tourists.

We stayed for three days, parking at night was terrible if you did not stay out past 8 then you might have a chance to park somewhere. Also the WiFi did not work, I tried calling the main lobby where the lady had given me a phone number to call to fix that. And the maid service was terrible. We had left around breakfast time 9/10 am to do some errands and we came back around 2/4 pm to find that there was no fresh towels and bed spread hadn't been changed or made. As we were trying to relax and take a nap before our concert that night that we were going to they were knocking on our door and got a phone call from the main desk that woke us both up from deep sleep. The place was nice, photos are what has been expected. The experience was good, I definitely would recommend this hotel over an air b&b any day!

Numerous visits have made this a favorite spot to stay. Friendly courteous staff, clean well appointed rooms at reasonable and good hot breakfast make our stays very enjoyable. We'll definitely be returning!

This hotel is conveniently located - a short drive to downtown LA. The windows are a little thin, so there is some traffic noise into the hotel. Newly renovated, so a nice bathroom and modern decor. Breakfast is satisfactory to get you out on the road. Parking was easy, although the spaces are quite narrow. There is a pool about the size of a bathtub... not sure if anyone uses it. I needed the room just as a place to sleep - out all day long.

We spent one night at this hotel. I always try to stay in a BW hotel when in the USA as they are always great quality This hotel was not disappointing either. Good location, easy access from the freeway, easy check in and friendly staff. Rooms are OK, comfy bed, usual coffee and tea in the room. Breakfast was great as usual, plenty to choose from. I would use again and would recommend however I do not think this is a Plus. Definitely BW quality but more like the standard.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Great location, great friendly service from everyone, clean rooms, great prices, free internet and parking but sometimes full, and my son's favorite a hot free breakfast.

Room was nice and clean, great shower. The hot breakfast was very decent - hot eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, and waffle maker. The attendant, May, did an excellent job keeping the food stocked and the area clean. Great place for the price, and within walking distance to several restaurants.

My husband and I were in the area visiting my son who lives 10 mins away from this hotel. CONS: If you are a light sleeper, this is not the place for you, as I barely slept the entire night! I heard footsteps from outside corridor, door slamming as well as traffic noises from the freeway. The room is basic; however, the pillows are odd: they are REAL SMALL, which also did not aid in providing a good night rest. I have stayed at over a dozen of Best Western hotels throughout the year, and this is the only hotel (including non-Best Western hotels) that does not offer a regular size pillow! Parking spaces are real tight for even an economy sedan. Unavoidably, hotel guest vehicles tend to take up more than the space allotted. PROS: Bathroom is decent, I like the ability to slide open a small window located higher up at the end of the shower stall to let in some fresh air and rid the shower steam. Adequate continental breakfast spread to start the day. Overall, management kept the premise rather clean. We will look into trying another hotel within the vicinity when we next visit our son.

Unfortunately this hotel did not meet my expectations pool was dirty jacuzzi was dirty hot breakfast was cold. I spent a lot of money to stay there. But I won't do it again. But the housekeeping was amazing.

I really enjoyed the stay at Best Western Plus in Glendale. The staff was friendly and offered a good service. The room was clean and provided everything we need. Also the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was simple but good. The offered range of food meets our needs. I think there is something for everyone. Bread, scrambled eggs, waffles, fresh yoghurt and fruits to name just some. And don't forget to try the delicious coffe. I can only recommend this accommodation when you want to visit L.A.

Room was clean and felt safe. Bathroom had modern fixtures with shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel provided. Close to the Galleria shopping center, lots of restaurants, and also close to the LA Zoo.

I had roaches in my bathroom and then I left food on the table roaches crawled into the food into my medication box the room was full of mosquitoes and it was just really loud in the area I told the manager they didn't really do much about it

1st stop after visiting las vegas. Was disappointed with this Best western plus. Disinterested receptionist who was more interested applying her makeup at the desk than noticing you walk in. Room was ok but small and clean. Was looking forward to a dip in the pool. Which was filthy dirty. Chairs full of cobwebs and the pool it self was full of debris. My partner tried to clean out most of the leaves and wood bark but useless using a net all torn. Breakfast was a no no. Arrived at 09.00 on a Sunday morning for all the hit food to be already gone. No hot water for a drink. Asked the staff to be told there is another machine you can use, but had to inform her it is not working. Bad service from staff and would not stay here again. It's a distance to walk into the town and very noisy as literally just off the highway. For the money we paid we felt we stayed in a hostel. Stay somewhere else.

It was a very clean and tidy hotel stay with a great price considering where you were. I'd definitely stay here again only wish they could have larger pillows. These were quite small compared to other best westerns. However the staff was very helpful and courteous.

Great location and easy access to the freeway. The rooms are nice for a Best Western. The staff was very helpful and always pleasant. While my room was hot upon arrival and took awhile to cool down due to the gap between the floor and the door allowing hot air to seep in.

We stay quite a lot at this particular location (Eagle Rock/Glendale) and everyone is always extremely pleasant and professional. It is not fancy, but is always clean and quiet. Breakfast is included with your stay and has improved greatly in the last few months. Would definitely recommend this hotel for your next stay in Eagle Rock or Glendale.

we stayed at this hotel last weeks (5 of us) and we truly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very clean and tidy. Beds were very comfortable. The breakfast (prepared by May) has many fresh options as well as hot food. The fruit salad and yogurt was specially delicious. Thank you May, you are doing an amazing job by keeping us well fed and happy. The hotel location is perfect as is located across the street from an entrance to a major north/south freeway which makes it easier to get around, specially for visitors like us. The staff are very friendly, the breakfast had good options, and the queen sized bed was very comfortable. Next time I pass by Glendale, this hotel will be my first choice to look up as my place to stay.

While not a Hyatt or Westin property, this facility was more than adequate during our four night stay. The rooms were clean, quiet and spacious enough. The pool was clean, but unheated so it went unused. I did, however, utilize the hot tub. The front desk staff was pleasant and very helpful . . . especially Ashley! Unless you're looking for all of the "whistles and bells" afforded by the "high end" hotel chains, you'll be delighted with this Best Western.

After searching and reviewing many hotels and having had positive experiences at other Best Westerns we settled on this one. Having booked through Travelocity we were assured payment was due upon check-in as is customary with every hotel I've ever stayed at. Such was not the case here. En route through the mountain pass we received a voicemail message from a hotel staff person informing us paymemt was due or our reservation would be canceled. When I called the person to get clarity about this “policy” (which Travelocity did not inform us of) I was lectured at every question or point of clarification I asserted. The person was argumentative, rude, and absolutely discurteous. I was shocked. Needless to day this set the tone for our check-in. Upon arrival we were informed of breakfast times, where to sign on the paperwork, and our room number. The man at the desk said absolutely nothing else to us regarding our stay. The room was mediocre and on more than one day of our stay our path to and from the elevator was blocked by construction equipment being used to update a room directly next to ours. The tile cutting machine was loud and we were not informed of the renovations occurring right next door. Thankfully the workers were magically quiet and quite pleasant. The room was a bit stuffy smelling and though updating attempts were evident they were very “patch job” looking with dings, plaster cover-ups, and repaint jobs all over. The shower stall was covered with either bad caulking and/or mold. The bathroom didnt even have a fan and in order to release shower steam one had to slide open a small window located inside the shower which then exposed one's naked self to the freeway exit ramp outside the window. The tv worked fine, however the remote left much to be desired and many functions on it - including closed captioning for people like myself with hearing loss - were not operable. A particular pet-peeve of mine are polyester or non-natural fiber bedding and even though this hotel made an attempt to update their bedding they still used gross (and probably unwashed) polyester coverlettes and synthetic fleece blankets instead of down blankets. Bed was okay and pillows were oddly 1/2 the size of normal pillows. Breakfast was the pretty standard, over processed fare. The kiddo liked the waffle maker and we appreciated the fresh fruit. Never used the pool or other amenities. Location was decent for access to Hollywood attractions. Very much appreciated the Whole Foods market just blocks away. The hotel surroundings were pretty distressed and if your a light sleeper you might want to consider staying elsewhere as this hotel is scissored by very loud freeways. But then that's pretty much the norm for LA. Thankfully our check-out person was not the rude man from check-in and we had a pleasant leaving experience.

The people were very nice and friendly . We were not thrilled with the quality of the breakfast. Both days that we ate there, the skim milk was sour but it was cheerfully replaced. We felt that the room was very small for the amount that we paid.

Stayed here for a quick weekend trip for my wife and myself. We arrived early and found the place very clean and the service was great. We wanted to upgrade our room but they were all booked. My wife had mentioned she wanted it for the jacuzzi tub, so the checking agent got us a first floor room closest to the larger outdoor one. He even found my wife's bestwestern membership in the system and took the time to update it. I forget his name but he went above and beyond to help. Pool and jacuzzi were great and the area was well maintained. The switch for the jets is on the far left by the electoral box just and fyi. Room was clean and comfortable. Shower stall looked new and shampoo bodywash are in the soap cubbie. Bed was comfortable and TV was a good size. Room has small frigde and microwave. Noise wasn't an issue and you couldn't hear the street or the freeway at all. Morning breakfast spread was good. Enjoyed making my waffles with plenty of coffee and juice for all. Yes the parking spots are tight. I drive a big old Silverado and I parked on the far side of the lot. SUPER helpful and friendly staff. Overall great place to stay. If your looking for the Ritz this isn't it, but if you want a great stay for your money and with Free breakfast and parking, this is the place as. I'll be staying here for future visits to the area later next month.

Took an old Super 8 and TRIED to make it into a Best Western Plus. Was not even a Best Western quality let alone a PLUS. They did not offer me the bonus points, etc as I am a Gold card holder. For the location and quality of hotel they charge way to much for stay. Booked 3 nights and canceled second 2 nites when I checked in.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room clean and spacious. Our room faced the street and was still quiet. Bed comfortable, and breakfast had a nice variety. The scrambled eggs were actual eggs! Close to freeways. Only negative was parking. We returned late at night and barely found a spot. Spaces small and people dont park correctly, taking 2 spots. I think this should be monitored better.

For almost $150, I expected a lot more than I got. Rooms are small and smell like a cleanser factory, breakfast is okay (nothing special), the whole place is very noisy due to the freeway next to the premises, the elevator doesn't exactly inspire confidence and the shower pressure was lousy. Also, I discovered some mold there which is definitely a turn-off. As a Diamond member I often get upgrades at Best Western hotels but not here. The young lady at the front desk told me I could have one if I paid extra. Hello?! That's just a room that's more expensive, not an UPGRADE!!! She said her manager gets angry when she gives customers free upgrades - that's outrageous!

The hotel had a great location. The housekeeping staff did a great job. Breakfast was nice. Booking agent was not familiar with what the rooms had to offer and promises were not followed thru which resulted in a disappointing experience.

Stayed here as part of a group of four girls on a hen do to LA. Staff were friendly, quick and easy check in, ample parking and clean hotel. Basic room which was modern, clean and nicely decorated. Hairdryer, towels, toiletries and fridge provided. Nice big flat screen TV and comfy beds. Breakfast was very basic but enough there to start the day. Pool looked clean, did not use as not enough time and a little nippy. The pool is outside. Drove no more than 30 minutes to the furthest tourist attractions. Would definitely come back and stay again.

I mean, it's in downtown Glendale so it's noisy. The rooms were fine. The breakfast was a disaster on Sunday. They had one person working who was completely overwhelmed while the front desk person played on her phone. It seemed fine the other days we were there but we went out for breakfast after that. I think some things are beyond the hotel's control, i.e. traffic noise. Others are not.

Situated on the the outskirts of Los Angeles,a 50 minute bus ride to Hollywood Boulevard the hotel was clean,had a swimming pool,adequate breakfast and opposite was a Popeyes to eat a snack at.5 mins walk away was a lovely Thai restaurant which we had to get a doggy bag because the portions were quite large.Go in the other direction for another 5 mins and you had an Italian restaurant which also did good food. Overall a good stay

Close to the freeway and not too far from Los Angeles or Pasadena. Very friendly check in. Room was just ok. It was clean. Some features we did not like were no lamps, only ceiling lighting which was not good if one of us was awake and wanted to read in the chair. The lighting really made the stay unpleasant. Bathroom was nice with large shower, there was a coffeemaker, fridge and microwave. Pool and spa, but too cold to use now. Breakfast was good, nice breakfast room. Parking was tight but we got in late and still were able to find a spot.

Hotel is good for my family. Pros: 15 to 20 minute drive to Universal Plenty of restaurants and stores near hotel free continental breakfast friendly staff Cons: No laundry facility on site, but a few laundromats within a mile of the hotel. tight parking spots

We stayed two nights on 22-23 Sept. 2017 in Rm 311 accessed by a convenient elevator. This nice, quiet room had a comfortable queen bed, two night stands, 2-3 drawer storage, arm chair w/hassock, desk & chair and a large shower stall, see photos. The complimentary breakfast included waffle maker, four cereals, breads, mini-muffins, English muffins, oatmeal, very good scrambled eggs, sausage patties & links, yogurt, toppings, coffee, tea & juices. The nice breakfast room was run smoothly by a helpful, smiling attendant. Motel staff were also helpful. You can do laundry at the Spinster Laundromat at 519 ½ Verdugo a half mile away. We ordered a very good carryout pizza from Verdugo Pizza next to the laundromat.

We had a great stay last weekend and received some great customer service from Claudia at the front desk during a short power outage and also received a partial refund for the inconvenience. The rooms were clean, shower was nice, and location was great for accessing China Town.

It was very nice hotel close to restaurant and malls my only concern is I reserve king size room but when we got there the only available is queen. They should have refund me back of the difference but overall it's was amazing I would definitely coming back

Just aweful, dreadful room interior, badly insulated so you can comfort yourself with the sound of the motorway and the Airco of the adjacent room. Quality of beds was short of mediocre and if the only thing one has to pride oneself by having clean remote controls for the tv you know what time it is. Stay away from this shoddy motel

Claudia was great and the whole time I was there she was consistently going out of her way and doing all she could do to make my stay comfortable :) very nice hotel and room too can't wait to come back and stay again soon

Claudia took great care of me at the front desk. She helped solve some booking issues. Very friendly. May runs the free breakfast and keeps the area clean and stocked. The breakfast is really good, better than most in the same price range. I give them a 4-star because parking is very challenging. Lot too small for the property. And, construction crews stay here long term taking up spots with big trucks and trailers

This was a okay best western little far from where we wanted to be but it worked for a visit it's just off the freeway. It seem to have enough parking . Isn't in best of neighborhoods it's by small park. Lots of homeless in area. Asking for money. Didn't want to go out at night because of it.Daytime was alright . They have a heated pool and hot tub ,three floors ,light breakfast. Staff were nice enough. Rooms bit to small for large families.

We were here only one night, but very happy. Rooms are small, but have been renovated with contemporary decor--nice. Everything was clean, although the exterior of the building is a little tired-looking and in need of an upgrade. The parking is a problem if the hotel is full. Fortunately, it wasn't quite full the night we were there and we were able to get a spot, even though we were returning very late from Christmas Eve midnight service. The staff is wonderful--very nice, professional, helpful. We'll go here again.

Clean, comfortable, helpful staff and convenient to nearby restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Claudia at the front desk was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Elevator gave quick access to 3rd floor and parking was ample. Enjoyed our stay and the Dawgs won the Rose Bowl. What more could we ask for?

Decent motel for the price. Decent breakfast for hotel guests. Fridge in room did not work but was replaced the next day. They have a ridiculous rule about picking up bottled water at 5 am for the room. Better not to offer it to anyone. Other than that the room was clean and good for the price I paid.

Check in lady was courteous and helpful; gave me top floor room as requested. rooms get lot of freeway noise though mine was well oriented to minimize that per my request when making reservation; breakfast is average; space in breakfast area is limited; good location near freeway; easy to find; POPEYE CHICKEN and PIZZA HUT right across road; small room but adequate; good value for 10k BW points promotion. Good selection in TV channels. less than eighty dollars is a bargain; less than 120 dollars per night is good value; above that is too much for the value provided

Any time I'm in the LA area, this is my go to hotel. They have always provided great service & hospitality. Clean rooms and great value for a hotel. Even when I bring my family, this is a really good place to stay.

I usually stay at a Best Western because they are always very nice for the price. This hotel was by far the absolute worst Best Western I have ever stayed at. Unhelpful staff, not enough parking, and a non flushing toilet make this a place to avoid.

Bathroom is too small and all dirty carpets need to be change. Need elevator for the second and third floor. Upgrade WiFi connections. Requires security staffs on 24 hours duty. Helpful and friendly hotel staff.

A place in Glendale is safe and near to some attractions nd u cannot avoid traffic and highways. It is noisy but cost is reasonable. Popeyes and pizza hut across the street. Breakfast good but very cramped. Unlike many best westerns it does have an elevator. We had some issues but the manager was very receptive and helped us out. It was a first to find a toilet seat that has the hydraulic type closure. Parking spaces are impossibly close. Experienced many guests taking 2 spots. Glass walk in shower was nice. Be sure to request side of building away from pool. Didn't care for the reusable stainless steel cup for waffle batter touched by every guest opposed to disposable cups at most properties.business center cramped with coffee area.

Supposed to be a Best Western Plus. My business partner and I rate it a minus mainly because of a non-caring clerk. First the good points: check in went well. Rooms, while small, are clean and well maintained. Breakfast was about what one would expect. Bad points: we had a horrible experience with a morning clerk whose name I gave to BW but need not state here. We came to Glendale on business and needed to be at the Glendale Civic Auditorium by 7 a.m. on Saturday. Regular breakfast hour starts at 7 a.m. but the breakfast preparer had everything ready to go early. All we wanted at about 6:45 a.m. was some juice and a roll to get us by. Even though breakfast lady indicated this would be fine with her, the rather cold, non-caring desk clerk adamantly refused to let us enter the breakfast area. We did not want to make a giant scene and left, bought breakfast and were late to our destination all because of a non-caring, rather immature clerk with little or no common sense. Minor point but can be crucial: this facility does not have enough parking spots to accommodate all guests' cars. We had to park out on the street, leaving our cargo really unprotected. While I usually love BW's, this one is off my list.

This very budget conscious hotel leaves a lot to be desired. Like a fresh smelling room with clean carpets. Never mind the amazingly loud freeway that, thankfully, was drowned out by the very inefficient wall unit A/C unist. If you want to feel comfortable, just don't stay here. If you want to save money on a room with questionable cleanliness, this is your spot.

Room was a little small but very comfortable. The air conditioner was a little loud so we couldn't keep it on while sleeping...it was very hot on our visit. Nice little pool area but we didn't swim. The room was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast each day. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the bathroom layout....shower was great but the height of the sink and toilet were set too high and I had to stretch up to sit on the toilet!...not a big deal but a little uncomfortable. Other than than a very nice stay.

Very small rooms, but bathroom has obviously been remodeled. They do the best they can with small amount of space, but question whether the price matches the accommodations. They are a Best Western "Plus" hotel which does not match previous stays at "Plus" hotels. Very small parking area not large enough for all cars, very small rooms, not in the greatest area of town. Staff were amazingly helpful.

Horrible place to stay ! Filthy carpet ! Sewer smell coming up in the shower ! All the office would say is sorry about that ! Very much in need of an update ! I don't know how they call this best western plus !

Excellent value! Pleasant helpful staff, clean room, and convenient location. I will definitely come back! They upgraded me to a better room and that was so nice! The bathtub was a very appreciated extra perk! And the jets, wow!

Friendly staff, nice hotel, clean room. The down side to the hotel was crappy continental breakfast and small parking lot, but during the week parking was better than the weekend. Beds were comfortable and the elevator was a plus since stairs are difficult for me.

Very small rooms, newly modeled bathrooms but their toilets are a weird design and their showers were a bit slippery. Nice to have a new bathroom though. Beds are amazingly comfortable. Fridge is tiny if you need one - won't fit much more than yogurt and string cheese. Cable and internet good. Closet holds real hangers if you have lots of clothes. Really clean. Hotel is on a busy street. Staff is amazing. Breakfast is good but limited. Coffee 24 hours - big thumbs up.

After traveling across the country from New York we found ourselves in Glendale CA where we chanced upon this Best Western. Now we have been sleeping in the car for the latter of the trip but figured why not grab a hotel in LA and see what the city has to offer. I will tell you that amidst all the narrow minded and singular focused pedestrians the seem to exist within their own inflated egos we found a gem in the desert sands. This Best Western was an oasis in a cultural apocalypse. The rooms were cleaner than any we have come across, and the service was impeccable. The concierge servicing the front desk was named Erum. She was a gracious and very excepting of our weary and dreary semi-delusional and definitely sleep exhausted states. She seemed like she genuinely cared about our story and travels and shared many laughs with us. Many people in this town I imagine look past the simple elegance behind a peer to peer connection but when you have a truly normal person assisting you in getting the best deal and best experience it makes the whole thing worth while. So heres to you Best Western of Glendale for excelling in getting the best people to work with you, and heres to you Erum for providing the best in hospitality.

This is a decent place to stop for a short stay. Right near freeway (with some freeway noise), but clean rooms, continental breakfast in the morning, free wifi and parking. The staff was friendly, and there is always hot coffee. One note, though... the sign on the street says "Best Western Eagle Rock", so bear that in mind. I drove right past it and around the block before I realized it was the right address.

We stayed at Best Western due to mother in law in hospital so we needed to be near verdugo hills hospital and her home in Glendale. My only complaint was very loud guest above us & could hear housekeeping cleaning other rooms

This lovely best western met and exceeded my needs for a location close to Universal Studios Hollywood at a reasonable price. The rooms had plenty of space, the staff was superb, and the value matched what I've come to expect from the Best Western brand. All staff deserve commendation, particularly Erum at check in / check out, who made sure I had my requested room at a distance from the freeway (My only concern was the noise but none could be heard in the room. )

Easy access to the Hotel from the freeways. Easy access to all points of interest in LA. Clean modern décor rooms and good pool breakfast that does the job. Plenty of coffee good restaurants close by within walking distance. We felt very safe in the area .

Comfortable beds, we got in late due to the Dodger Game. There was still parking available. I reserved our room and check-in was easy. Breakfast was got and coffee was ready in the morning. Our room was clean and staff was very helpful

This is a easy access from the freeway ( CA-2 ) and easy to get back on freeway to various directions. The exterior of the hotel is older and needs some UPDATING, the parking lot isn't really designed for larger pickups or SUV's. The rooms are very nice & the beds are GREAT !

The staff are excellent and really care about the guests. The only 2 complaints are: lack of adequate parking, and rude guests who insist on slamming room doors in the middle of the night (NOT the fault of the hotel). As a business traveler, I am always pleased when I'm comfortable in a hotel.

This is a nice renovated hotel. Rooms are nice and cleaned, Claudia a customer service with sincere care for all guests. I like the hotel, I think is a bit pricey. I would give it a higher rate but one of our bed's sheets was dirty/stained. I mentioned it to the person at checkout time which unfortunately didn't get her name, anyhow her response was not what I expected. I hope they correct this going forward as like I sai is a nice renovated hotel, close to the Dodgers stadium and we most likely stay there again and double check the bed sheets which I do at any hotel either way.

Going to concert it was a good location to get to the Greek theater. Took a Lyft and got us right there so easy. Not used to LA traffic but was good. Fast food right across street made it easy to get food

Hotel is good, rooms are quite spacious, clean and bed is super comfy. Only downside, a little noisy (aircon, fridge) but on the whole real good value for money. (i didn't use the pool but it did look small.)

My sister-in-law booked us into BW. We were very surprised by the cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel. Teh housekeeping staff does an amazing job and the front desk personnel are friendly and very helpful. Beds are so comfortable I wish I had one like that at home. Breakfast is included and is the standard as at other BW, Plenty of parking, but the spaces are a bit tight for larger vehicles such as a Durango. Near major highways.

The first room was occupied by a service man. I was then offered another room which was OK but very warm inside. Took a long time to cool down. the overall hotel look was not very nice and the rooms were quite small for a Best Western Plus.

Room was very tight not enough room for four people to move about with easy. This made it hard to relax. Staff was willing to help with most all our needs that they could. No place to really put our clothes which made it even harder. No phone book or bible or area eating carried in or out. Found this helpful at three other best western we have stayed at in Hollywood,Ga.,Tx. Pool area was very unkept dirty towel always around tables and chairs not clean from day one ,and dirty pool and hot tub that was from trees so we understand that but hot tub needs to be hot so we could relax from our day. House keeping was very good ,did need more coffee in room four people and they did not always have four coffees mix. We had some we got down the street when we went out to do our wash . No wash area at this location, that was something we always use when traveling. Was upset the breakfast area was way, way to small couldn't move about with any easy we were always on top each other . Some the family didn't like it at all as the other people using the area seem like you were in their way when you went up to get something you forgot. Food was good the lady cook was great and that was nice touch. Don't understand why they kept taken the brown sugar away few of us needed it for our oatmeal. It by far wasn't out best visit to best western plus. Space is what this place lacks the most. Every area seems so very small . Needs real cleanup outside. It's doable if for short stay and not often. We were in hopes that it was going to be the one that we use every time we come to the area during the year. We all four said we might have to think this over maybe the one in Hollywood might not have hot tub but it's a larger room and breakfast area place to put our clothes so on. Business area was very small it was in with small coffee area. But they had one so that helped. The staff were very nice people just might not be best fit for us.

I stayed here 4 nights in August for work. I ended up in a disabled room for some reason, though I am not disabled. The location is convenient, right off the highway and close to many attractions. In the evenings I would go down to the big outdoor mall a few blocks down the street for meals and other attractions. It's also on the cheaper end for hotels in Los Angeles. It has a standard hotel breakfast, though the breakfast room is rather small. The staff at the front desk and the woman who ran the breakfast room in the morning (she gave me her card but I forgot her name. Rosita?) were all very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this hotel for a traveller who needed to overnight for 1-2 nights near LA. If you are staying longer, I would suggest a different hotel. The reasons: parking is very tight. The walls of the hotel are very thin and traffic in that area is really loud, all through the night. The hotel itself is old and not recently renovated. The carpet is worn. There were spiders in my room. Some of the other guests were very unpleasant and made me feel unwelcome and unsafe (spitting, playing loud music on their phones in common areas and singing loudly, etc.) It was not the best place for a work trip as I was woken up several times during the night because of loud neighbours or loud cars racing down the street. I would not stay here again unless I was in need of an inexpensive hotel in this area for one overnight stay maximum.

We had a very nice stay. The room was nicely done. We wish the fridge was a little bigger for our needs. The staff was very friendly and helped us with things that we needed. The location fit our needs.

I don't do reviews. But this just pissed me off. I went on their website to see if they had rooms available before driving down here they had a king-bed room available for a $109 advertised and two double Queens for 139 advertised on their site screenshot attached still to this moment available. Why walk into the lobby there's a big sign saying sold out I asked the lady why does the website show available rooms her response is go ahead and book it if you can. I thought maybe if I booked it through their website rooms would become available who knows even though she's told me she's got no rooms. So I complete my reservation and just before I was going to put my credit card information in I asked her are you sure you have rooms I'm about to pay for this the response is no I'll just call the corporate and cancel your reservation. Luckily I was able to find the comparable room across the street for less money now I'm sitting in my room typing this and their website is still showing$109 rooms available.

Staff at this facility are quite friendly and helpful, Clean rooms and comfortable bed. Easy access to and from the highway yet, quite area. Close to restaurants and if you enjoy shopping, it's about 5 minutes drive to the nearest mall. Parking is tight but otherwise, everything is fine.

Once you get over the fact that hotels in LA are expensive (and they are!) this place ticks all the boxes. It's location is perfect for those visiting Walk of Fame, Hollywood Boulevard, Dodgers Stadium, Universal, Warner Brothers etc. It's also immaculately clean, miserably decorated and super comfortable with all the amenities you could ask for. Rooms have fridges, air con, parking, breakfast (which is delicious and plentiful - hot and cold serve yourself options). Would definitely stay again and you recommend to others.

very satisfying stay for our family,ages one year old to seventy six and accommodating for my husband who uses a wheelchair. great breakfast, clean pool area easy access and very courteous employees! we will definitely keep coming back to best western hotels.

Had business in Glendale, CA, and this location was the nearest one to where I had to go. Arrived about 1:00 PM and a very helpful desk person was able to get me checked in without problem. Hotel is an older location and not in the best part of town, but the hotel is well maintained and clean. I have stayed at this hotel of couple of times in the past and would do so again.

Clean rooms and bathrooms. The staff cleaned the room well every day. Caring, professional staff A bit noisy-very close to the freeway Saturday night rates double the week day rates. I did not get a satisfactory response as to why.

We came in late at night and the woman cheerfully greeted us by name. That never happened before. All the staff were pleasant and welcoming. The hotel was very quiet even though next to two freeways. Rooms were well maintained. I would return there in a heartbeat.

Found this Best Western in Glendale thru my AAA app on my phone. Had great rating and booked it. When I got there after my 6 hour drive I needed a good rest. I was so impressed on how modern and clean my room was. I felt safe and enjoyed my visit in LA knowing I had a very nice place to stay the night. Will stay again next time I drive to LA.

Stay here while visiting Univerisal Studios Hollywood and California Beaches. Free wifi and delicious hot breakfast with option of free parking. Didn't like how we had to tidy up the pool to use it, how TV turns on with full volume, how the corner closet was useless to hang things, or how the room shake for unknown reason (downstairs neighbors maybe?)...but would stay here again since so close to to highways and budget wise.

Very clean, comfortable room with cooked eggs and protein to start the morning with a fresh hot cup of coffee. The hotel is right off the freeway and easy to find. Lots of food choices in the area to select from and places to visit nearby. Hot eggs were fresh and had onions and peppers.

This hotel is in a reasonable location if you want to be close enough to Hollywood and not end up costing a fortune. Rooms are fine. It's right beside a freeway, nearly under it so ask for a room on the side away from the freeway. Breakfast arrangements are ok. It's not a hotel that you would look forward to visiting but it's a decent base for some local sightseeing. Staff were helpful .

My husband and I both liked this Best Western Plus very much. The room was very clean and the breakfast was great and not the same every morning. All of the people at the front desk were very nice and in particular, Claudia was just a delight! I would say however, that we could not swim in the pool because it was not heated and it felt like ice water. Other than that it was a great stay and we would stay again if we should return. Beautiful hotel and very clean and spacious room. We loved the bed linens and the amenities in the room. The breakfast was not the best - the eggs tasted artificial and had bell peppers in them - yuck. The breakfast room was hot and too uncomfortable to eat in so we had to go outside. The outside area was very nice - nice seating and décor.

This hotel is on the corner of a very busy street and the freeway. It is more like a Motel than a Hotel, so if you don't mind paying Hotel prices for a Motel, and you like traffic noise 24 hrs go for it. The pool area is also extremely small and appeared to not be well cared for. When we inquired about being moved to a room further from the street, the Front Desk said they were sold out and she could do nothing. Both my husband and I got the impression that she was not being honest and just didn't want to bother to make a change for us.

We had a great stay at BWP Glendale. Location is great, the rooms are big, clean, and very comfortable. The Reception is warm and hospitable. Claudia and Rocio are very helpful and they are very reliable. I would definitely return and book at BWP Glendale.

Staff was super. Room was newly decorated. Breakfast staff was very helpful and friendly. Location isl right next to freeway, but our 2nd floor room was very quiet. Only a slight issue >> parking spots are VERY narrow. I will have to lose weight or get a smaller car!

This is an ok motel. The room was fine, there were nice shower amenities too and a good selection of TV channels. I was disappointed in the pool though as it is very small, in a shady area and not very warm. The hot tub was out of order. The weather was hoe and I had been looking forward to using the pool but it just was not very inviting. Also, there were no ice buckets, although there was an ice machine.

Reasonable price, fast checkin, helpful staff, good size room, great bed, extremely clean room, solid breakfast (thanks Maria!) parking spaces are a little tight for large autos, but that is the only downside I can come up with...

This hotel is comfortable. Rooms are clean. Parking available. Nearby Griffith observatory which is closed on monday, so plan your trip accordingly. It is near many tourists places. Nice place to stay.

I've stayed here a couple times. It's a no-thrill hotel, comfortable enough, for a reasonable price in this expensive county. I like the fact that each room has a microwave and refrigerator. They serve great purpose. Also, the fact that coffee is available all day in the lobby is awesome! I like a cup in a morning and a cup in the evening. Breakfast is decent. It's a good meal that can keep you filled well. Overall, it's a good hotel. Employees are nice to guests also.

We checked in on Thursday checked out Sunday.. It's a very professional, homie feel kind of place. Extremely pleasant to look at not to mention that all of the amenities were there. 20 mins drive to any local night bars and clubs. Continental breakfast was good breakfast but what made it the best was a staff worker by the name of Rocio. She was very welcoming and attentive. Showed me how to use 'the waffle making machine', asked her tables if they needed anything, if they needed something she will get it for them. She also cleared peoples plate as they were done. Pleasant, pleasant stay.

Easy to talk to staff, pleasant people, pleasant atmosphere, pleasant food qualities, sexy decor, cleanly, artsy, accessories accessible, friendly staff, fairly close to the city, and parking available.

This property was excellent! Due to it being on the edge of Eagle Rock, I was worried. Trust me, nothing to worry about. The staff was outstanding, friendly, and well versed. Breakfast was super, location was outstanding.

The girl upon check out would not contact manager. We were told we had to wait until Monday to speak to him in regards to a cancellation. She stated "well you work for a hotel you should know the rules" Extremely disappointed

Clean hotel, well-situated for access to downtown, Occidental College, Pasadena and Glendale. But location on Colorado Blvd at Glendale Fwy (2) on-ramp can be a bit noisy. I eventually got use to it but if you are a light sleeper could be an issue. Convenience and cleanliness, along with free parking, Internet, and breakfast would outweigh noise factor and I would return.

This Best Western looks like it has been renovated. Rooms are nice inside, outside has been painted and looks good. It is still a motel (outside access doors to the rooms) and is not in the best area (but not really bad either). Beds are fine. Standard hotel hot breakfast with eggs and bacon/sausage. Not a bad choice if you are looking to save money.

The bed is super hard I woke up like 4 times. The bathroom light is automatic an it's creepy. I'd rather turn on the light myself than motion sense. There's a window in the bathroom an I woke up in the morning an I thought the bathroom light was on. also the blow dryer only worked on low not on high. I'll throw in that we asked if they had any jacuzzi suites available an they had one left but the jets were broken it was 180$ they offered it to us for 160$ lol but we declined for a regular room cause their would be no point. Overall it's alright but not the best the bed isn't comfortable at all. Hard as a rock.

We could not have been more happy with this lovely motel. We chose it as a base for a five-night stay in LA after reading other reviews and did not regret it. After stepping off a 13-hr flight and negotiating the freeway, this little oasis was amazing. Our room was modern and clean, clearly they've had a renovation recently. The shower was huge and had constant hot water (always a good thing). We had a hot breakfast every day, and it was pretty darn good - always waffles and eggs, with a rotation of bacon and sausages. The only thing to watch out for is the small car parks (a minor inconvenience) and the freeway noise, though we barely noticed the latter after the first day. The location is great too, just hopping on and off the I-5 was very convenient. The staff were lovely too, the security latch on our door broke one morning and they fixed it by the afternoon.

The location is excellent and easily accessible by car, with several fast food places within walking distance. The room was nice and spacious. It was a bit noisy due to the busy roads nearby. The breakfast even included omelette and bacon, as well as porridge, in addition to the usual sweet stuff (including the possibility to make waffles), so it was quite pleasant.

First of all, the name is deceiving: it's NOT in Glendale, it's in EAGLE ROCK, which is a much worse area. Secondly, it's RIGHT by the freeway, and on a very busy boulevard, so the traffic noise is incredibly loud ALL NIGHT. Even with earplugs in, I could still hear it. The hotel is old, and the rooms are very small, the TV is mounted on the wall to save space, there is a tiny refrigerator, which was nice. Thankfully, we only spent a night there, but it was completely overpriced at 164/night!

Great hotel! Front staff is wonderful! Kristine was very friendly and extremely professional. Ended up staying a second night due to chance of plans and Kristinne was able to handle the change smoothly. The hotel was very quiet and the room was very clean and in wonderful condition. Breakfast had a great selection. Will definitely be back!

Very nice room and great bathroom. Stayed on top (3rd) floor but they do have an elevator. But they must have parking spaces (and narrow ones at that) for only HALF the amount of Rooms. Had to park 5 blocks away and walk back to hotel after being out late.

The room was ridiculously small and horrible location, horribly over priced...the iron didn't work contacted the front desk in person and they did nothing about it. the restrooms were extremly small, and will never return to this location again.

This motel had been recently updated and the room was very clean and attractive with a modern bathroom, comfortable beds and all the extras (refrigerator and microwave). Also for the Los Angeles area, the parking lot was spacious which was a plus!

Overall, it was quite a pleasant stay at the hotel. Staff is pretty friendly, and they have really comfortable beds here! Lots of place to put your stuff, and the breakfast is pretty good. However, the breakfast cut off time is at 9:00am, which I think is a bit early. The wifi is free, but sometimes got connected/ disconnected which was a bit annoying. Overall, it was a pretty great stay here.

Sirene was very helpful in helping me book a room for three nights. The king spa room is a joy to relax in ! The room is beautiful the staff is very polite. Maria the breakfast cook is a very polite and courteous asset to the company as well. She was sure to keep the area stocked and clean. Great job ! I will be back ! Many thanks !

I have been staying here for over 10 days now and it is a good place to stay, especially the Staff is very helpful. Maria is incharge of breakfast and enquires each person and very helpful. It is near to Supermarkets, Glendale galleria

We spent three days here and everything was excellent! Love the Japanese Modern look of the interiors. Classy. Claudia at the front desk allowed us to check in early; Maria rocked breakfast. We love staying at Best Western.

Comfortable room, staff is very friendly and accommodating, Maria has a nice breakfast, always hot and ready every morning, breakfast area is very clean and it is always stocked. We booked through Booking.com and I screwed up the room type, although the staff could not change my room because I booked through a 3rd party she was still helpful and asked us if we were okay with the room the next time she worked. The rooms are clean and always cleaned very nicely everyday.

My wife wasn't fond of the exterior look of this hotel, but once we were in our room she quickly changed her perception of this place. the room was very clean (we had our two young children with us) & comfortable. Friendly front desk & breakfast room staff. We will surely return to this hotel when we're back in the area.

Hotel staff are friendly and go above and beyond to assist guests, operating in a concierge-type fashion, assisting with cab service etc... The breakfast staff kept the food well-stocked and assisted elderly guests and families with small children with obtaining their food. The room is clean and the bed extremely comfortable. Excellent value for Los Angeles.

In my experience, When you pull into a Best Western, you never quite know what you are going to get. This one doesn't look exceptional from the outside -- older, tucked in next to the freeway. But the rooms a really nice, clean, well appointed, and smart in the way they are laid out, from the shower to the chairs. Good place.

I had a good stay at the Best Western Glendale, mostly due to the excellent staff and friendly service. The rooms are very comfortable and I had a pleasant stay overall. The location is very functional, too close to the highway for my taste but convenient in terms of getting around.

This is a great deal for couples. Not too expensive for LA area, close to Hollywood, Griffith Park observatory, and Santa Monica beach area. Provides a nice breakfast, Rocia did a fine job of replenishing eggs, sausage, etc. Desk clerk Claudia very helpful with directions, even gave us a couple of lamps for bedside table. Modern decor in rooms have recessed overhead lighting, some adjustable. Best of all, every evening after sightseeing, we walked thru the gate into the pool area (very small) and slipped into the hot tub. Relaxing . No real restaurants close by, but we didn't want to go out again anyway. Across the street was Popeyes and Pizza Hut, with Raplhs grocery about 3 blocks away. Since the rooms all have mini fridge and microwave, we heated some entrees from store, ate on the umbrella tables around pool. Spent 4 nice days here.

Nice and clean hotel. A little small, but that wasn't a problem. All the staff we encountered were nice. The frontdesk staff were always smiley. This was one of the few hotels that I came across while searching for hotels in the L.A. area that included free wi-fi, free parking, and free breakfast...which was great. The swimming pool, hot tub, and outdoor eating patio were all really tiny though. Parking was also limited. The spaces are so tight, a lot of cars took up 2 spots, limiting the parking lot even more...which was annoying. Also, the bathroom always had a sewage smell that I think was coming through the shower drain. If the parking and sewage smell wasn't a problem, I would've given this hotel a 5 star. Hotel was right across the freeway entrance too, which was very convenient.

This Best Western is situated half way between downtown Glendale and downtown Pasadena. (about 10 minutes away) . Downtown Los Angeles is 30 minutes away, with traffic. Just down the block from there's a charming Italian Restaurant. Also, nearby there's a Super Market, a pharmacy, Starbucks and even a nice city park. All-in-all a great location for this traveler.

Was in LA to attend a bridal shower and needed a hotel in close proxy to venue for myself and 2 daughters. Advertised rate increased during online reservation process and both hotel and B agents would not honor lower rate. Although the hotel had been remodeled since my last stay several years prior, it was over priced for the location and value received. Also, after authorizing and pre-arranging payment, the wrong credit card was charged! Hotel staff was pleasant and corrected the error.

A bit out of the way from Los Angeles but a great location if you have a car and don't mind a bit of driving. Only around 15 minutes to Universal and the studios which makes it worth the stay here if that is where you are headed. A selection of eateries nearby – mainly fast food however the Galleria Glendale about 5 minutes drive away has a wide selection of restaurants and shops. There is a Target and Macy's about 5 minutes walk from the hotel at the Glendale mall. Rooms are pleasant and clean. Coffee, fridge and microwave in each room and wifi is decent. Breakfast has a good selection of breads, waffles, cereals, eggs, sausage and pastries. Staff are really pleasant and helpful. Parking available at the hotel. If you don't mind being that bit further out then this is a great place to stay.

Upon arrival everything seemed very nice from the outside. Check in process was very smoothly handled. Good job GSA! :) HSKP was also very kind, and took care of stay over service nicely! Very pleasant stay! If we come down again to the area we will stay here again! :)

This hotel is located at a very convenient spot which enables the visitors to access the highway in a minute. It is in a fairly good location. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The dining space is too small, but the food variety is OK.

Parking is limited and spaces small not good for full size vehicles. Breakfast was good. Room was clean. Property was clean. Sleep great on mattress. Room size small but fine for two people. Front desk very friendly and helpful. Stayed a couple of days while visiting family.

Arrived in the evening and was quickly checked-in by a friendly guy at the reception. The room was pretty good for a motel and everything looked fairly new and clean. The room was on the upper floor which was more quiet than expected since the highway is close. Breakfast was okay but could have a better quality of foods, would have given top rating if breakfast was better. All in all i would stay there again.

Frankly, I'm surprised that this motel has gotten any positive reviews. I guess there's no accounting for personal taste (or tolerance). I'm even more surprised that the Best Western organization has not sanctioned them. The only positives (this is the 1-Star rating): - Location is adjacent to the Glendale Freeway (Highway 2); also close to Highway 134 and a city park. - An enthusiastic, customer-oriented hostess in the breakfast room. The problems: - Indifferent, inefficient service from all front desk clerks, no matter what time of day (aka employee shift). The staff's driving concern is not customers, but the managerial hierarchy (the owner or manager on duty). They present themselves as dis-empowered and rote. Turnover seems to be high. The customer service jeopardizes BW brand loyalty. - The indifferent (intimidated?) culture also is exhibited by the maintenance staff. - Shoddy cleanliness and maintenance of the facility. Examples: the ice machine has disgusting (and unsanitary?) stains and cracks, the elevator is rickety, the luggage carts are greasy, the stairs and walkways are dirty and stained, there are beds and linens stashed under the stairways. Really, this place needs a mother to make it clean its room! - Although there are a supermarket and a few restaurants within a few blocks away, if you walk to them you will encounter people who are so mentally ill or impoverished that there's reason to feel you're risking your safety. I couldn't get out of this place fast enough.

I hadn't stayed in this area of Los Angeles for many years so I was using a recommendation from a friend as far as staying here. While it's a little pricey everything in that area is so I guess it was well worth it. It was pretty easy to find, as easy as anything is in the Los Angeles area. It was clean, neat and was very brightly colored on the exterior. The room was clean, neat, spacious and everything worked very well. The staff was very friendly and accommodating both while checking in and checking out. If you're looking for a place in the West Pasadena/Glendale/North Los Angeles area give this one a try.

I stayed in this hotel as my husband was having surgery. Its not in the best part of town but its close to the freeway. The parking spots are tiny, the ice machine has mold and the rooms are average but the breakfast they serve in the morning is fantastic. I would suggest staying during the week as they price gouge on the weekends.

We are a family of three with a toddler and we stayed at this hotel because it was the cheapest room available for last minute booking. We paid $200+ for a queen size bed for the three of us. Even though our son is small, not having a King size bed meant we did not sleep well. A night without rest should not cost $200! The hotel is located across from some fast food restaurants, which could be convenient. There is not a coin operated washing machine at this location. Overall, we felt robbed after paying so much to stay here!

The hotel was very comfortable and affordable for the area. Nice outdoor swimming area - small but clean. Room was quiet and bed was good. Good shower. The location is right off of highway 2, and easy to get to.

The rooms need desk lamps. A homeless person -- unfortunately dirty -- was allowed to wander around the food and take whatever she wanted. The sinks need stoppers so I could shave properly. The staff was friendly. The room was clean.

We stayed just one night at this Best Western and had to leave in the morning to make our flight before breakfast was served. However, the staff offered us food to take with us. Since we were in town for a wedding in the Eagle Rock area, we checked in early and when we returned that evening our bags were ready for us in our room. Even though the location is right off the freeway, we did not hear any traffic noise in our 3rd floor room. We always appreciate that the Best Western Plus properties are clean and well maintained.

Hotel location was good but the towels in the room were not so clean. Nearby to Los Angeles and other attractions. Breakfast items were okay. They had hot waffles but no other varieties. very near to freeway

The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very helpful and pleasant especially Rocio at breakfast and Dee at the reception desk. The included breakfast had a lot of options and was good. There are food options around and it's easy to get onto the highway to get around LA. We would definitely recommend it.

My daughter and I were in town for her state board licensing exam. We arrived late, but the hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location is good; close to shopping and restaurants and there was a city park next door. Our room was tastefully decorated and very clean. We were also very close to the exam location. Our stay was brief but I would recommend this hotel because of the good location, close proximity to two large malls (Glendale Galleria is also about 5 minutes away.)

This hotel is a great value for the price point. It is a small hotel but they have everything you need and the breakfast is worth getting up for. The worker are extremely friendly and helpful. We also liked that is close to a great mall about 8 mins. west of the main street.

Our stays at BW Plus have always been a pleasant experience. This particular property in Glendale California was exceptional. It is located on a busy street near a highway off ramp. The room was so well insulated we were sheltered from the traffic noise. Big plus!

Unless you have a very small automobile or are arriving by taxi, you will want to choose a different location. Otherwise, the hotel is great. The pool is clean, and the rooms are adequate. The freeway is very close. There are fast food restaurants that will deliver if you need room service.

Hotel and room was clean. Looked newly updated and modern. Had good breakfast. Served Starbucks coffee and had fruit infused water. Nice touch. TV had two HBO channels to watch which was nice. Overall nice place to stay.

Staff are very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast is good as most of the BW hotels. Decent drive to most of the LA attractions. The rooms have been remodeled as the last time we were here. The only complains my wife has are too high on the lavatory design and no fans in the bathroom. Overall good stay in this place.

I have stayed at this hotel several times because it has a very convenient location near some major freeway intersections yet is in a pleasant neighborhood with shopping nearby. It has been remodeled recently - super modern upgrades, a bit too 21st century for this old lady, but I'll still stay there the next time I'm in the area. Staff is fabulous!

My wife and I like to read in bed before we go to sleep. The only light in the room was the ceiling light with a switch by the door. I have spent thousands of nights in hotels ,and I have always had a lamp by the bed. We will not stay here again.

We drove from San Francisco to Orange county to visit some relatives and we wanted to visit Universal Studio as well. for saving time we stayed one night (May 19th) in this hotel which is close to Universal Studios. I can say I wish I could stay more days in this hotel. Everything was perfect. very nice place for relaxing after a busy day. you never get bored. view to street, a plaza in front of hotel, a big mall couple of blocks away, small outdoor pool, high speed internet, flat screen TV. - Location is perfect. close to universal studios and a mall, in front of pizza hut. easy access to highway - Very friendly Staff . I only remember Rocio's name, a nice lady taking care of everything in the kitchen, all others at reception are very great and friendly, both day and night shifts. - 24 hour Starbucks coffee, and also tea in kitchen area. It was very pleasant to grab a coffee after a long walk and busy day. - very delightful breakfast breakfast including egg, bacon, oatmeal, waffle, cheese, butter, jam, bagel, Starbucks coffee and fruit juice. For sure this hotel will be my first choice next time.

I had to stay in town for 3 months on business. I love the rooms very clean and the staff is so friendly. The staff members were able to make it so that I did not have to move from room to room. I recommend this hotel to all my friends.

Room was a bit small but the bathroom was nice and bed was comfortable. Room offered all the amenities which was great. I stayed in what was supposed to have a king bed but it looked more like a queen. It said full breakfast was offered but it was more like complimentary breakfast. That was disappointing. I thought the price was a little high for the room but overall they stay was good. I would stay there again.

When I booked this hotel, I specially requested that we do not want the first floor, but they ignore our notes. After checked in, the room 's carpet was clean, all our socks got very dirty after several minutes. Also, the breakfast was not very good also. We have booked 10 nights through different hotels, this is the worst one. We will not stay here next time.

The coolest Best Western hotel I have ever stayed in so far. Valerie from front desk and Roci from the breakfast area were super nice with professional attitude and did excellent job assisting me. The room was clean and the TV huge. The service was excellent. The lobby was very clean and the employees were very nice. The breakfast was also very good and the service area very clean. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to people traveling for business or pleasure. There are restaurants, fast food, and shopping in close proximity to the hotel. The parking is very tight but that was the only downside of the hotel.

Loved the cleaniness and modern lobby. Love the new renovated rooms. Nice appliances. Big LED tv. Nice walk in shower and toilet. Breakfast is good with chicken sausages and scrambled eggs with build your own waffles,parfait etc. Only problem was leaves falling into pool which made it unattractive to swim in. Friendly staff!

This is a very nice hotel which has updated decor and completely modern facilities including comfy beds and good internet service. It's located in a convenient place near the intersection of a few freeways. But the best part is the staff who are very helpful, warm and professional, more like you'd expect at a fancy hotel.

So this Best Western was completely renovated 6 months ago. The color scheme, bathroom fixtures, carpets and lighting choices were clearly chosen by an interior design professional which was amazing considering Best Western is generally considered a budget chain. Comfortable beds, good quality linens and towels, everything well maintained and in working order. And the free Wifi was great. The woman who staffs the breakfast room was constantly in motion, cleaning and refilling. She really works hard and is so pleasant. Actually all of the staff here were pleasant, Erum, our check out clerk was especially nice. The reason i couldn't rate it Excellent was that they were fully booked and we got one of the 3 rooms facing the freeway so got the constant HUMMMMM of the people accelerating on the on ramp. I immediately asked for a room change but they were unable to accommodate me so we had to just bear with it. Also, the parking lot is very, very tight. If you have a large vehicle like a truck or a minivan, it is a bit of a challenge getting in. But I would definitely stay here again, accomodations in LA are getting more and more expensive and this hotel was a good value.

Last minute decision to travel to event at LA Coliseum. Booked this Best Western from website for convenience to venue. Wonderful experience - friendly, efficient staff; nicely appointed room, delicious breakfast; close to restaurants; easy freeway access; quiet and comfortable.

We recently rented two adjoining rooms and stayed one night at the Best Western Plus on Colorado Blvd in Glendale, very near the intersection of the 134 and 2 freeways. But NO freeway noise and FREE parking!!! It looks like the facility was recently renovated and they did an EXCELLENT JOB! While the rooms were a bit on the small side, the beds, flat screens, bathrooms, showers, tile, carpet, AC, parking lot, office, breakfast area, outdoor breakfast patio, and a second patio with tables, chairs and umbrellas surrounded by hedges, an outdoor pool and hot tub, etc, etc, etc were ALL very smartly done. NOT one of those slap on a coat of cheap gloss paint. NO! I mean NICELY DONE. And ALL of the staff were super super friendly and very helpful. And breakfast was great. Fresh scrambled eggs (with onions and cheese), sausage patties, Starbucks coffee, bagels, english muffins, lots of fruit choices, donuts, mini muffins, cereal, juices, yogurt, and on and on. I think I saw a make-your-own waffles/pancakes (?) but was smitten with the other stuff and never explored that option. If you want a sure thing, this is the place. We would stay there again anytime.

This hotel by far surprised me. Often when you book reservations sight unseen you can only go by the reviews from pervious patrons, thus is why I would like to share my experience. Erum and Rasario by far went above and beyond to make our stay one that was most pleasurable. The rooms and grounds are kept clean, the rooms are spacious and the complimentary breakfast more than exceeded my expectation. If I am every on the LA area again I will be booking a room with Best Western Glendale. Thank you to the management for providing your staff with the tools to demonstrate excellent customer service it goes a long way.

This hotel is convenient to find near the freeway yet quiet. Friendly and efficient reception staff made the stay quite pleasant and the standard American breakfast was better than most. An excellent upgraded room with great lighting, new plumbing, and easy access.

Over all clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the doors and walls are quit thin so its really easy to hear other people talking etc. One of the best parts of the stay is Ms Rocio during breakfast. She always goes out of her way to ensure that the customers have what they need for breakfast. I have stayed here multiple times and she is always the same. The breakfast is included but she behaves as if we are at a regular restaurant. She is extremely hard working and obviously cares about the quality of her work.

The rooms are really nice and clean. Staff here are really friendly and helpful. I recommend staying here. Breakfast was good as well and Rocio assisted us. Overall it's a great place to stay. Only thing is the parking, get here early.

This place is very well located, easy to find. The hotel in general looks good, clean. Parking a bit small, but free. They announce pool, but it is really quite small . A little small but very clean and nice rooms. The bed was the smoothest, most comfortable I've felt in my life. The cleanliness of the hotel is very good. Breakfast good, but a bit repetitive. I would stay here every time I travel to Los Angeles.

Stayed here March 14, 2016, for a night. Wished we could have stayed longer. Location was right off Hwy.2, didn't have any issues with noise from vehicles on the highway. Renovated rooms from the washrooms to the beds. This place is more like the setting in the original Melrose place circa 80's. Customer service was excellent, from check in to check out. Shout out to Dolores who made sure we were fine and with our late check out request. Told us where restaurants and laundry facilities were. Breakfast was good too, nice coffee, yogurt and fruits. With hot plates to go with them. Definitely a plus on the Best Western brand.

Location is why we chose this hotel. Professional and friendly staff. Room was very clean and the bed was unusually comfortable. Staff went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Breakfast was very good and so convenient. A plus for us, Tommy's Burgers was right down the street.

We traveled around Los Angeles to Las Vegas and stayed here one night it was clean the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was nice the internet was terrible but anywhere in Los Angeles it is terrible.

The hotel is very clean, rooms look recently renovated. Extremely helpful and pleasant staff. The location is very central to the Los Angeles area, Burbank/Glendale and Pasadena. Easy freeway access. There are good restaurants in the Glendale area. The little park next door is a big bonus.

It is clean & relatively quiet despite the fact it is right below the freeway! Its a basic hotel and it does the trick. I was here for business and the bed was comfy. The girls at check in & check out were great. The parking is pretty tight in the lot, be careful if you have a large SUV.

It's a nice hotel and the rooms are furnished very well, but nothing super special. It does not have any nice restaurants or bars adjacent to the hotel (unless you think Popeye Chicken is living large) so plan on driving everywhere. It is very close to hwy #134 and A very busy Colorado street... So you definitely have traffic noise 24/7. The breakfast was not bad. It's an good choice for a quick overnighter but not a two three day stay. Enjoy West-Morry

I really liked this hotel as it was clean, comfortable and convenient. Ordinarily I stay at the Westin or Marriott in Pasadena but wanted to save some money plus see a little more of normal life than you would in those places. The room was very smartly decorated, the bathroom was particularly good. The breakfast was really good, freshly made waffles, cereal, fruit juice and pastries - what more could you ask for. The service was also a real high point - Erum on reception was very welcoming and made sure my room was a quiet one rather than next to the freeway. I would have given this a 5 star rating but for the location. It is a bit of a challenge, on one hand it is next to the freeway so a little noisy (not too much by any stretch of the imagination) while at the same time there is nothing particularly good nearby in terms of bars and restaurants. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here and plan to stay again next time.

I would never stay here again. I was called and basically accused of stealing a pillow. Also, the power went out on my last night and there was no concession on the price. The lady in the breakfast area was very helpful.

This hotel room was adequate for our needs we chose a king room, we stayed 3 nights in total. The staff were really helpful and the rooms have a contemporary feel to them, having been recently refurbished. The complimentary breakfast was fine, with hot scrambled eggs and sausages as well as toast, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, tea and coffee. Great stay.

after extensive research in Glendale CA. this was the most up to date and cleanest hotel. The price was a little steep considering the competition and location. The property sits between Glendale freeway and the 134. lots of road noise. Parking lot was small and spaces were very narrow even for a Prius. staying a few miles away like Burbank or Pasadena the options are more plentiful. Overall it is a good. the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel staff are nice, the breakfast selection was nice. Our room (105) is located directly next to the ice machine. While the bed itself was extremely comfortable the ice machine made ice throughout the night and I was unable to sleep. If I were to stay here or recommend this hotel I would ask for a room on the north side of the property (108,109 etc.).

Stayed here for three nights while visiting friends in Glendale. Friendly and efficient staff - Dolores was especially welcoming when we arrived. Beautiful, spotlessly clean room and bathroom, both of which had clearly been refurbished recently to a high standard. Decent breakfast and no difficulties securing parking. The hotel is very close to an entrance ramp on Freeway 2. This was very convenient for getting about but we feared that noise would be an issue - it wasn't! We slept very well in the super comfortable beds.

This Best Western is tucked away near 3 major freeways in Glendale, which makes it very convenient to get to where you are going. Even with the motel close to the freeway the noise level is not objectionable. My room was clean and everything was in good working order. The staff were helpful. Alas, parking is always a challenge in the Los Angeles area, and this motel's parking spaces are tight.

My sisters and friend were coming down to celebrate my daughters wedding and wanted to stay near the reception, they LOVE Best Westerns and chose this for the location. It was less than a mile from the venue, and I decided to book a few rooms as well. The beds are SOO comfortable!! The staff was wonderful. I do recommend it if you will be in the Glendale area

For some reason, we got an upgrade to a jacuzzi room, so we just had to try it out. The bed was also very comfortable, so that helped to compensate for the road noise of the nearby highway. We had a 3rd floor room, but the elevator was nearby and quick to respond.

We arrived at hotel and were greeted by Dolores who was very friendly and helpful. She had upgraded our room to a jacuzzi room. The room was beautiful and the bed was comfortable. The hotel was convenient to the attractions in Hollywood and it had free parking. Breakfast was better than the usual Continental breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel has been refurbished, redecorated and is a nice modern great place to stay with great value for your money. Close to many restaurants and shopping centers. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great wireless internet as well. We'll be back to this one in the future.

This hotel is a great value! Great location in Glendale, close to stores, newly remodeled, clean rooms, great internet and a nice comfortable bed. The staff is very friendly & helpful making you feel right at home. We'll be back for sure.

I have been to the Best Western plus Glendale for 2 days and I was happy that I had chosen that hotel. The room has good design, comfortable furniture. There is fast wifi. nice and clean bathroom. There wasn't serious choice for the breakfast, however, it was correlative with a price. Moreover, the hotel locates in a quite area, so, nothing disturbed me while sleeping.

Renewed rooms close to highway exit and friendly staff. Good breakfast with many options. The only problem I saw was the parking spaces as they are narrow and many customers seems not to know how to park properly.

We stayed here two nights for the Rose Parade. Our only complaint was we arrived around 4pm and our room wasn't ready. That put a small damper on getting ready for new years eve since we didn't have a room. So needless to say our new years eve plans of dressing up went out the window. The outside is clean, we didn't use the pool or hot tub. The room when we checked in 218, had a heavy perfume smell, so we had to keep the door and window opened for a bit, but that is where the complaints end. The room was spotless, there were two large comfy queen beds with lots of pillows and crisp white linens. We had a rollaway bed also and it was made up with lots of pillows, crisp linens and was comfy! There was a huge flat screen tv, and the remote is antimicrobial which I luv. The bathroom was tiny in the sense there was no counterspace but it was modern, nice big shower and more than enough towels. There was a small office desk connected to the entertainment center that had a refridge, microwave, coffee maker. There was a separate table with two chairs and a large closet. The parking lot could be a tight fit for suvs, however we had no problems. The room wasn't near the freeway so it was nice and quiet. The morning breakfast was great with fresh fruit, yogurt, muffins, juices and I think waffles. Dolores..I hope I got her name correct, was great help in answering questions and never seemed put out because she was very busy. WiFi was free, In reading the information book in the room itself about amenities it mentioned something about a room safe, but we didn't located one in the room. We didn't need one, but thought we'd put that out there. If we had to stay in this area, we'd stay here again

too small spots for cars that will not yet you get the door open. Therefore you must for some at end to move their car. Breakfast was always cold. shower was ok but soap was not available. It was only in body wash form

The exterior belies the remodeled interior. The interior spaces and the rooms have been renovated and are very nice. The staff was awesome, knowledgeable and friendly. The location was great for my business trip to downtown L.A.,

Great hotel, just across the street there are Popeye's, Pizza Hut, and Mcdonald is only metres away. It is also very close to Americana Mall and Glendale Galleria and easy access to the freeway Thanks for the assistance to Mr. Dee who always been helpful.

I was here one night for a high school class reunion. The room was fine--comfortable, clean and quiet. I especially enjoyed the updated, contemporary decor. However, this place (as all places in Glendale) doesn't have enough parking. As I was headed out to my party, I stopped in at the office to ask the front desk clerk what I should do if I returned late and couldn't find any place to park. She looked sheepish and suggested across the street or somewhere down the street. I left for the reunion not feeling good about the neighborhood or the parking situation. I'm a very small woman and my athletic days are behind me. I didn't relish the prospect of having to park several blocks away and hike alone on the street at 1 AM in cocktail dress and heels. When I arrived back at the hotel, indeed all the parking spots were full. I double parked and went into the office, hoping the new desk clerk would have better ideas than the previous clerk. Sure enough. He said, “The last clerk told me you were coming. I parked my own car right here outside the office to save you a place. Give me just a minute to move my car across the street. Then you can pull in right here.” My car was in full view of his desk for the rest of the night. Wow. That's service. I still can't recommend the hotel with 5 stars, because when the hotel is full, there simply isn't enough parking. Any way you slice it, that is inconvenient. However, these folks surely did take care of me the best way they could. I'm grateful.

Highly recommend this place. Great pleasant stay. The staff was friendly and service with a smile. Easy access to and from the freeway. Great restaurant and fast food places right accross the street. Comfortable bed and super clean bathroom.

We were at this hotel for several nights. It was a decent room, surprisingly quiet considering it's near a freeway, on a busy street. It was comfortable, clean, basic accommodations. The breakfast is okay (except for the oatmeal, which is a gluey mess). There was sausage or bacon, juice, yogurt, waffles and... that oatmeal. Several days they had hard-boiled eggs and one day I had them and it was scary, a leathery, shruken thing that smelled odd. So breakfast... either just okay or ewww. The staff we interacted with was professional and efficient.

My husband stayed here 1 night for business in the area. I got a great rate and paid $105 total. He said the room was clean but the noise from the freeway was unbearable. If you are hearing impaired- this hotel is for you.

This is a very nice hotel it looks like it has been recently remolded. The staff displays an inviting welcome as you are well received. I recommend this hotel to those that are looking for a well rested night.

On Colorado Blvd, there are many unsavory looking motels. The Best Western is an unexpected jewel. The room is beautiful, bed very comfy, bathroom is elegant. I LOVE the multi-function outlet at both nightstands and the desk area - and at a level that you can reach and not have to go digging behind furniture to find! Breakfast is your standard fare of continental breakfast offerings. Everyone that works there that I encountered was very friendly. I would stay here again if I was in the area.

I've stayed at this Best Western 6 times and I really thought it was something special. The staff is good, the beds were comfy, and breakfast staff was extremely helpful. But, the huge drawback is the daytime noise. My wife and I travel frequently on business, and right now we are on a night time schedule. She has had to sleep with earplugs just to filter out the highway sounds, but even they cannot keep the voices of the maids and vacuum truck from coming through. My advise is it might be worth a stay, but don't take a 3rd floor room, it might have ants, wear earplugs, and definitely take advantage of the breakfast.

the employees at this hotel were the best we have ever encountered. breakfast was great, location was convenient , very safe area and room was large and clean. The only disappointing thing was that the parking spaces were smaller than usual, but space is a precious commodity in big cities. close to freeway to L.A. and 20 mins. to Hollywood and 10 mins. to Griffith park and zoo. Pool and hot tub were very clean.

Great location with easy freeway access. Small room, but did not feel cramped and had modern decor. Staff, from front desk to breakfast server, were very professional, friendly and polite. Would definitely stay here again.

I can't push this hotel enough. After searching around for hotels comfortable enough and within a moderate range, I found this one. For the price and how the staff treat you, this will always be my top choice for easy north LA access (business and/or pleasure). Dolores and Degan (spelling?) are part of the excellent staff that will go above and beyond to make your stay incredible.

I was impressed by the location of this hotel. All around there are plenty of places to eat. The room we stayed in was totally remodeled. The outside looked OK too since it had a new paint. Lobby and breakfast was amiable. The only detriment was the walls, wasn't noise deterrent. All in all, we enjoyed our stay at this location of the Best Western Eagle Rock Inn, California.

Hotel was very nice. Price was a little higher than I normally pay but that was my fault for waiting till the last minute. The staff was wonderful. The room was clean. Bed was comfortable. The only trouble I ran into was the A/C did not work properly. I did not contact the staff. I just dealt with it.

I was visiting some nearby sights (Descanso Gardens and Huntington Library). The hotel was a good location for that (short drive from the Rosebowl). The hotel was clean. Just below a freeway (the 2) but quiet enough. Room was clean and well maintained. The bed comfortable. Room had microwave, fridge, coffee maker, and a huge tv. Free breakfast was nice. Many restaurants close by. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great for an overnight stay.

Stayed one night October 7th, in room 209. Very small complex and even tinier parking lot. I'm not sure where they tell people to park if all their rooms are booked. I was lucky enough to find a space when we came back from Universal and dinner. (Free parking) The surrounding area is safe. The check in and check out was a breeze. The lady was so nice and helped us recommended restaurants close by. The rooms looked remodeled and are clean. For a family of 4, the room we had was too small, 2 QNS. You will be on top of each other for sure. The beds were comfortable. The sink/vanity area is inside the bathroom. So it is the toilet, shower, very tiny sink and no shelf/vanity. The space in this bathroom if you are a bigger man or woman would be very uncomfortable. There is no room to place your toiletries. No room to move around when blow drying your hair. No circulation if you just took a hot shower, you would have to open the door to get circulation to blow dry your hair. You are just squeezed into this teeny tiny space. I'm 4'11" and 112 pounds and I just thought this was ridiculously small even for me. We didn't hear any outside noise so sleep quality is good. The free continental breakfast does have eggs and meats along with the usual cereals, pastries, fruit, and yogurt. If you are going to Universal Studios and didn't want to be in traffic for hours or pay a lot for a room, this is a good place. It was not a long drive at all to Universal. The little town of Glendale has lots of shops and restaurants. It was a cool place to walk around. Park in the galleria for free and longer parking. I would stay in this room again if it was just me or 2 people. Definitely not with family just because the room is small and the bathroom was too crowded. No room to put anything any where. But overall it was an ok stay.

It had a European style to me as it reminded me of a Munich, Germany Hotel. It was a wonderful reminder of just how much I like to travel and without all the lavish and expensive appointments! I like the efficiency of the unit. The only concern and this had nothing to do with the hotel itself. The neighborhood smelled bad and probably because of the street drains. I know you can't do much about that. Also, the parking spaces were very narrow. Kind of a tight squeeze to get in and out of my Jeep Patriot. Thank goodness I'm of slight build.

The staff is very couteous helpful and patient. The room was very clean and looked like it was recently renovated. The only problem was the parking was a little tight. I would definitly recomend fhis motel.

Staff was very pleasant and accomidating. Rooms appeared to be recently remodeled with a very modern theme. Bathroom was especially well done. Location was perfect for getting to Dodger stadium for the ACDC concert.

Very clean and quiet, great staff and very much everything you need is provided. Small property easy in and out, great location. nice pool area with rack of towels next to it witch makes it convenient, the welcome you with a nice cup of lemonade.

We stayed two nights while visiting friends in LA. The room was a 2nd floor room, but there is an elevator for luggage if needed. The spa & pool were nice and clean. Towels were readily avaiable. The staff was cheerful and very accomodating. The complementary breakfast was good. Eggs, bacon, wafflea, bagels, cereal, juice & coffee. Dont sleep too late or youll miss it as it is closed promptly ar 9:00. The location is excellent for Hollywood, Downtown, & most tourist activities.
