    « Nice apartment »

Firstly it took us a long time finding this hotel, no one had heard of it. The apartment was nice, had everything in the kitchenette. The sofa bed was horrible, very springy mattress... me and my friends got ill...as it was very cold also we had to take very cold showers as the shower was not running hot water. We called for someone to take a look but got told it is what it is and that the maintenance guy will come next week! Well we won't be here next week! I asked to speak to a manager, but got told there was no manager as he had been promoted and isn't here . Well, ok ...so we suffered for three days and got ill! Personally I wouldn't go and stay in this apartment again...it was noisy and the cold water situation has put me off. Plus the location...we had to walk a fair bit to get to the tube station and it was abit of trek to get to central.

    « Comfortable & Spacious »

Stayed for 4 days and was very pleasant. Staff are friendly and was clean. Breakfast croissant was not good though, and only continental. These are self catering apartments and so there is no restaurant facility. The London Underground is a fair distance away but West Ealing overground station is walkable (5 minutes).

« We felt like Royalty! »

We arrived before the check in time, but we were given the opportunity to leave our luggage in storage until the room was available. We went for lunch, then returned to put our luggage in our room -- and we were stunned. Our room "one night in Paris" room 101 was a beautifully appointed room with a full kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living area. It even had laundry facilities! It was on a busy road, but that road got quite for the evening. We were treated well, we'd highly recommend a stay at the Maitrise. The neighbourhood was really highly ethnically diverse, with an amazing amount of restaurants.

« WE WERE TREATED SO WELL! »

We arrived a little early for our check in but the front desk clerk let us store our luggage until our room was available. So we went for lunch and then came back to put our luggage into our room. We were not sure what to expect, but we didn't think we'd get a room quite like this! IT WAS AMAZING!

This hotel lobby was quite small and it's easily missed. It is located in a area surrounded by Persian supermarkets and restaurants. For the rate we paid breakfast included, I have no complain except for the ridiculously slow internet, lol! The apartment is clean and service is good.

« Great location, staff and hotel »

Stayed there for one night was great ..coffee shop on ground floor which was great.. staff were really good and rooms were small but well done and clean ..would definitely stay again and would recommend ..only thing would say was that they could have put shampoo etc in bathroom but that's a minor

    « Not comfortable for 4 people »

We booked a room for 4 people with one bed and one sofa bed.The sofa bed was too uncomfortable and we didn't sleep well. The hotel staff was nice and helpful but they were already aware of this problem apparently.

    « Nice apartmenthotel »

Stayed here for one week with my family. The apartment we had was very nice and it was taken care of all our needs. There was one master bedroom, kitchen, livingroom where the was a sofa bed and there did my two Children sleep. In the bathroom ther was a bathtube. The location is great, 15 minutes away from Ealing Brodway tube station if you walk to it. The bus stop only 4 minutes walk away. From Ealing Brodway to central London ( Zone 1 ) with the tube take about 30 minutes depending of where you want to go. The staff is very serviceminded and helpful.

    « Perfect! »

Clean, well appointed, stylish accommodation. Friendly, courteous and helpful staff. Great, central location, easy for transport, and car park also available for guest (chargeable), and plenty of public parking. Will definitely use again, and would recommend!

« Perfect room for family »

We are two adults with two children and stayed for 3 days. Little bit far from city, but the room was nice and perfect. Every staff was nice and helpful and specially Mr Moin. Walking distance to tube station, but recommend bus (3-4 stations).

    « Good Value »

We stayed for two nights , there were three of us plus baby and toddler. It suited our needs very well. Staff on the desk were very helpful and friendly. I didn't think the area was too bad, people in general were very kind and chatty. A few things definitely need addressing, such as the mattress on the pull out bed which was horrendously uncomfortably and the duvet was very lumpy. The cupboard door on the washing machine was hanging off which could have hurt our toddler, and the bath was extremely slippery ( needed a bath mat). A few more additions to the kitchen i.e. a sharper knife, wouldn't have gone amiss, plus wine glasses. Lovely fruit and veg shop close by and Tesco express within easy reach. West Ealing underground station closer than Ealing Broadway.

    « Good place for a family »

We stayed for 2 nights in June 2016. Had no problems getting there from Gatwick (about an hours travel on train/tube/cab). On arrival, staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room we had was excellent with plenty of space. Ideal as we are with a 9 and 7 year old. They and we were able to relax without being crowded into a single room. Ealing is a nice enough area with shops easily available. We bought our own food so can't comment on the breakfast. Wifi was good. The rooms were clean. We would definitely stay here again when visiting London.

    « Could be cleaner! »

Stayed for four nights. Staff friendly and helpful. Very near Kilburn Park tube so you can get anywhere in Central London very easily. Continental breakfast was good. Shower pressure excellent. Fridge in the room...nice touch. Cleanliness is its downfall. Leftovers from previous guest. Carpets in the room looked like they needed an "industrial" clean and the throw over the bed was stained and marked and should go straight to the bin. 4 star hotel....nope. Average 3 star.

« Fitted the bill just fine. »

The Maitrise Suites are hidden in Ealing, but what a little find. There is a car park around the back (over-looking magistrate's court and fully covered by CCTV so felt pretty secure) which they charge £20 for, for the duration of your stay - good value I thought. The apartments themselves are lovely. Very spacious. The two bed apartment has a single bed in one room, a double bed in another and a double pull out bed settee in the lounge. Kitchen is really well-equipped with microwave, cooker, utensils, even a washing machine. Downside to the apartment - the lounge had a little balcony off to the side, and double windows over-looking the car park; neither door could be opened as they needed a key and the staff would not let us have one - this is a real shame as it would have been lovely to sit on the balcony and also to let some air into the lounge area. One of our group slept in the lounge and had the smell of food in there all night with her (not nice). Only a very tiny window in there, so it's not great. When we got there, the cleaners were still in the room at 2.45 pm, which was a bit of a pain, having been told we could be in from 2.00 pm. The bathroom was lovely, big bath, shower, even a wet room area. Staff were mixed - some were lovely, others a bit grumpy and one was none-existent. I waited 10 minutes for him to come back to his desk on leaving as I wanted to add my points to my card - but he was nowhere to be found. We stayed and went into Twickenham (£22 by cab) - the next morning we had a lovely walk around the small park opposite; and into town. Overall, I'd stay there again. It's reasonably priced for 4 of you and a little out of town. It was comfortable and clean and if they'd let you open the windows it would be even nicer (especially since they advertise it as having a balcony!).

« Decent place to stay but no frills »

Staff are friendly and helpful. The apartment was spacious and clean with comfortable seating and TV etc. I chose self catering deliberately and the kitchen has an oven and microwave. However only very tiny dishes so you can only microwave a ready meal in its own packet. The real issue was the bedding which was a very old feather quilt. The feathers were just in lumps leaving you sleeping under just the cover. To be fair when I complained a better quilt was produced the next day but not before I had had very bad nights sleep. It is a long walk to Broadway Ealing tube especially with a suitcase but you can take the bus. Overall I would only recommend if you are in this neighborhood or have plenty of time for travel

« CANCELLING BOOKING WITHOUT INFORMING!!! »

Last Friday my friend and I, wanted to spend the night in The Mairrise Suites Broadway54, 51 West Ealing, and as any person in 2016 would do, we went online booked online, paid online, through YOUR OWN WEBSITE. and got the below confirmation of payment, and confirmation of booking, we took the train all the way from east london, to get to west Ealing, ONLY to find out that, IT WAS CANCELLED! we have NOT cancelled anything. we couldn't even if we wanted to. your staff FAILED To help nor come up with any solution, more over they were borderline rude, though it was YOUR FAULT. not ours, that we have a booking we got there after a night out to find no place for us and not a decency to find us a solution!!!!! we went out roaming for a hotel in the area. your staff said the transaction didnt happen, but your confirmation is otherwise. you need to find a solution and re-pays for this.!

    « Good value »

We stayed as a family of 4.The apartment was spacious, clean and well maintained .The sofa bed was a bit uncomfortable. The partment was a very good value for money. Moin, manager very helpful.I will go back again during my future visits to London.

    « Good »

Nice hotel and everything, nothing extra special as the location isn't very good but the value for money when stopping and just going somewhere else makes the hotel fantastic in itself, plus it's next door to a subway

    3
    « Disappointing »

Stayed at the apartments while on business, the apartment itself is lovely in terms of presentation and space, it was also clean however its let down by some simple basics, unable to get wifi to work in the apartment, zip lock beds with a significant gap down the middle means you sleep perched on the edge preventing a goods night sleep, sofa in lounge looks lovely but has a big dip when you sit on it so its very uncomfortable, kitchen is poorly equipped 4 small bowls and plates a couple of pans, not a single wine glass etc if you were staying only to use as a base socially its fine but for a business trip the facilities are problematic

    « Overnight stay »

Myself and the 2 lads booked this hotel for one night on the 29th of February for a night over from Ireland. The price per night was great considering it was London and not too far away from the tube station. Room was perfect for the 3 of us and the added extra of the kitchen which was dead handy. Staff were all helpful especially Alex on reception who pointed us in the right direction for us to get a few drinks late on a Sunday night. Highly recomended

    « (Almost) Perfect »

So 3 of us stayed her for 3 nights mid January and couldn't really fault it. Lovely staff, tasteful decor and good value for money. The only down sides are if you're staying for a central London break its a 15-20 min walk to the tube (Northfields), it's on a busy high street, and, as has been mentioned smells slightly of fast food due to its location. There are definitely more pros than cons though and I would stay here again. Particular mention should be to Moin on the front desk who couldn't be more helpful and even allowed us to print off our attraction tickets. Overall a lovely, well equipped apart hotel!

« Hotel too good for the area »

I spent 2 nights at the hotel at the end of last year. The 2 bed apartment allocated to me, had a kitchenette, and a lounge area. It was tastefully decorated with a large TV. There was a washing machine, microwave, fridge, kettle etc. The staff were all fantastic, and couldn't do enough for us. The only issue was the cost of parking £20, but you can park behind the hotel at the council parking lot for £10/24hrs. On the whole an excellent choice.

    « Amazing staff!! »

Stayed here for NYE - last night! Couldn't thank the staff enough! Me and my partner have never been to London before so we didn't know how to get around- the staff went above and beyond printing out maps and directions for us to use. When we arrived we were asked for a security deposit of £50 which we got back when we checked out - just in case you aren't expecting it. The suite was gorgeous and very modern and not too far from the centre of London! Air conditioning was fab! I would definitely stay here again, brilliant staff, beautiful sweet and lovely fry up in the morning!!

    « Amazing hotel »

amazing big rooms with kitchen and bathroom, and amazing staff. I was really surprised as it from the street doesn't look like nothing special. So was very pleased with everything, every day new towels etc. which surprised me positively (we were 4 people in the same room for a very cheap price booked through some of those internet pages). Busses, shops and restaurants just outside the door, underground is 20 min. by foot to Ealing. I was all in all really amazed by the whole thing :) (only minus is that the wifi is pretty slow, and many times throw you of the network, but that is at least something to survive when adding up all the positive things) Will surely come back :)

« Best stay in Ealing »

First of all the bad news - the £20 charge for car parking imposed at this hotel is far too high a charge and seems to be more of a profit making activity rather than a fair charge that reflects the benefits of the car park which after all is just a pull in area at the rear of the apartments. Yes I know that cars are parked under CCTV but the car park opposite is also covered by CCTV, is free between 6pm and 8am and only £10 for a whole day. And now the good news - the apartment I was given was fabulous, spotlessly clean and had all of the equipment I needed for my stay including fridge, oven and microwave. Mind you, I didn't use the washing machine as I didn't have my wife with me but at least it was there! The outside of the hotel just doesn't do credit to the apartments so don't be put off by that. Hopefully the other apartments are just as good as I would certainly stay here again.

    « Short break »

Stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was clean and had everything you needed, the bed was single beds pushed together, comfy enough but didn't like the duvet ! Had continental breakfast one morning which is brought to your room it was ok, the other mornings we got a voucher and went to cafe for cooked breakfast. A 20 min walk to the tube station, but bus stop close by with frequent buses that stop near station. The staff were always very polite and helpful. .

    « Tiny room »

The location of the hotel is just perfect as it is just two minutes walk from the station. The room is a tad small though. Breakfast is simple but good enough. My room is a basement room and there is a flight of stairs to manage. Will need help if you have a huge luggage.

Stayed here for 2 nights this week and we had an amazing time! Apartment was great. Nice and big with everything you need as well as very clean. Location is brilliant not far from 2 underground stations which you can either walk too or hop on any bus. Would definitely go back and stay again!

    « A hidden gem! »

This is my first time staying in this part of London and also a first best western hotel for me, i wasn't sure what to expect especially with the price i paid for a one room apartment but i was pleasantly surprised. First off it is excellent value for money, its location is superb, really with all the shops and Broadway mall nearby you would hardly need to go into central London for shopping. Getting into central London is also easy with Ealing broadway station just a 15 minute walk away or you can take the bus if the walk is too much. There is an indian/Pakistani restaurant opposite that serves some of the best curries i have ever tasted and a salon also opposite that does perfect african hair styles. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen well equipped, the ladies who do the cleaning are always very nice and cheerful. Mr Moin is a very good front desk manager and made our stay worthwhile with all his helpfull tips. I enjoyed my stay there and would certainly book this hotel again. its great, great value for money!

« Excellent, value-for-money hotel, but needs updating »

I'm writing my second review of this hotel, where we stayed for six nights in August 2015. Our first stay here was for a week back in October 2012. Then, we stayed in the James Bond suite (with the outdoor hot tub), but this time, we stayed in room3 305, the Diva Suite, which had pictures of female singers hanging on the wall. Aside from the long hallway, the suite comprises of a living room (with a sofa bed), a separate kitchen (excellent), the main bedroom, a bathroom (a bit on the small side for a family), and an airing cupboard. We found this a much preferable arrangement than the James Bond suite where the kitchen was part of the sitting area, although it did have a larger bathroom. We very much enjoyed our stay here (6 nights). In addition: - Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The cleaning staff also do a very good job. - It has excellent transport facilities right outside the hotel, with buses going to Ealing Broadway (10 minutes by bus, or 20 minutes by foot), trains to Paddington from West Ealing (10 minutes by foot). - There are plenty of shops and supermarkets to purchase food if you prefer to cook, otherwise you are spoilt for choice if you prefer to eat or to buy a takeaway, especially if you like Lebanese/Middle Eastern food. I do have some quibbles: - neither of the TV remotes worked in the living room or main bedroom, even after changing the batteries - as previously stated, the bathroom was a bit small for a family, but fine for a couple - if you sleep in the living room, where the sofa bed is located, the outside noise especially at night will either keep you awake or the police sirens will wake you up. The room faces the main street. and each night, there must have been 3 or 4 police sirens. I thought that one of the room windows had been left open, but the two vellum windows were shut, but the one single-glazed window was probably allowing all the noise in. bring some ear plugs, which is what I resorted to. The hotel should soundproof this window really. - The decor is starting to look a little tired, and would do with a bit of brightening up, or tidying. Despite my negatives above, we really enjoyed our stay. It is excellent value for money, great links into Central London, and a vibrant are for shopping, eating out, etc.

« Clean Hotel with fair prices »

Stayed in that hotel fo 4 nights with my family, nice and clean small appart. Friendly staff, conciergerie free of charge, near all amenities, an approx. 10 mns walk to tube station, WIFI available Free of charge, the only problem the noise , could have a better insulated windows. As we were 4 poeple we had only 2 chairs available, but not a big deal could use the sofa bed. Well I could stay again in this hotel.

    « Don't waste your money! »

Apartments were nice but the stay in all was let down by many things. Firstly, I rang the reception at approximately 11:00pm to enquire about food and drink being brought to the room when we returned around 30 minutes later. I was told that this service was not in place at the hotel and nothing would be available to us when back at the apartment. We returned (after spending half an hour looking for food and drink) to discover a menu in the apartment, stating the provision of the required service until 1am. Although this service (I was later told) was not provided directly by the apartment company themselves, I was still mislead and angry after needlessly walking around to find a source of food and drink at this time of night. Secondly, early Saturday morning around 3am, a mouse ran into the apartment and into the bathroom when I was in there!!!! It was a shock and also made me question where it had come from/how it entered the room. I certainly would not expect this from somewhere I was staying and it made us feel uncomfortable from then on. Certainly NOT what you would expect from such an establishment. Lastly, the quilt we were provided with on our apartment bed had a stain on the bottom of what looked like blood. It was not on the cover, but the quilt itself. The mark was most definitely not from us ourselves and as I went to reception to tell staff, I received a new quilt from a very unhelpful staff member who was probably just upset I had interrupted his late night video watching and having his feet up on the lobby front desk! Also, to top it off, the wifi we were assured to be provided with did not work, causing further problems. I left the apartment feeling very dissatisfied with my experience and feeling we had wasted money. When I returned home I emailed the hotel 5 times and have been IGNORED completely. This has angered me as I feel the hotel can just ignore me and I will go away. I am so upset that I cannot even get a response, leading to me writing this review.
