    « Thanksgiving Adventure »

I definitely enjoyed my stay as a Diamond Select Member. Ms. Tina was phenomenal at the front desk. I was able to get a late check out. The location is right on the strip across from the Mirage. Excellent Location near the 24 hour White Castle and Fat Tuesday. I definitely will be back especially since I didn't get in the heated pool.

« Very good, but not this time »

Third stay. I had put a request for a top floor room in my reservation. Was not honored, as the lady at the front desk let me know upon check-in, because I did not call to place my request. Actually, reservation details are visible for the hotel the moment a reservation is made. I know, I know, no guarantee for a request, but the explanation sounded more as a lame excuse. I told the lady, I?m a diamond member, and I make reservations months prior to arrival. Thank you for the loyalty with our brand, she said. One night we woke up because we heard guests drumming on the door of the opposite room. They yelled through the door. I called the front desk, and a security man showed up within minutes. He solved the matter quickly and professionally. The elevator next to our room was out of order (we were told because of reconstruction), and the elevator in the garage was out of order (front desk did not know about that). The room was decent in size, nice decor and very clean. Location is perfect for our needs. Quiet althogh close to strip (I think the windows are perfectly soundproof). Given a price of $80.00 plus tax a night great value. After our return I wanted to make a reservation for April 2017, but price is $160.00 per night. Maybe there is something going on in Vegas. Because of a price twice as much as the one I paid this year, and because I expect to be treated more like a valued customer, I chose another hotel for our next trip to Vegas.

« Good Stay at a Good price »

Good value for your money. Also no resort fees. That was Awesome. I will definitely stay Casino Royale again. It is located right in the middle of all the other casinos. Best bang for your buck and who dose not want want to save money.

« good location friendly staff »

spent 4 nights at this resort its not the biggest but it is in a great location on the strip the check in is a little difficult to locate, as its in the casino but check in was smooth there is only 4 storeys to the hotel so there is no high rise outlooks but the room was good and facilities excellent well recomended

    5
« This hotel was very great to stay at »

This hotel was very great to stay at and I would recommend to my family and friends. The hotel was clean and smell very good. The staff was very nice and helpful with all the questions asked. I will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

    « Stay royal »

Rooms were nice hotel the bar had best beer prices in Vegas great location right on the main strip a short walk to all other hotels and right off the tram for quick and easy access to the entire strip in minutes

    « Great Location!! »

Happily surprised by the cleanliness & quality & This location is the best!!! Close to everything on the strip & you don't walk a mile to get to your room & amenities. Great value for the price. Will definitely try again.

    « Vegas Baby »

Stayed between 9th - 13th November. After a long flight from the UK we found the hotel with ease and checked in immediately. Not long after I received a phone call from Michael (I think that's his name) to confirm the room was suffice and if we needed anything! The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the middle of the strip with lots around. Our room was a decent size and cleaned everyday without fail. Free WiFi was included along with many other facilities. The casino is fantastic, Michelob beers for $1.. and I would recommend The Outback Steak House upstairs. We had a meal here on our last night and it was one of the best. Overall amazing trip, go and do the Grand Canyon via Helicopter if you can... amazing! I'd stay at the BEST WESTERN PLUS Casino Royale again any day. Thank you to everyone.

    « 3 nights »

Awesome hotel. Staff were helpful. Rooms were nice and clean, comfy beds.A.C and fridge in room. Location was perfect on the strip neighbouring The Mirage, Harrah's and The Flamingo. Have the best hotdog restaurant inside the casino for $2.49. I will return to Las Vegas and I will come back here for my 1st 3 nights again!

« FREE PARKING, NO RESORT FEE, GREAT VALUE »

Not only was the room rate reasonable but there was FREE PARKING, NO RESORT FEE, the location is next to the Venitian and across the street from the Mariage (Beatles, LOVE show). The hotel room was clean -- no problems. 11/20/2016

« Perfect location and worth the value! »

This hotel is located next door to the venitian and harrah's hotel. The location is perfect and the room was clean and just what I needed without paying the steep cost of a luxury hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

    « Vegas 2016 »

We couldn't get in our Flamingo as Trump/Clinton roadshows had put prices up so as trip advisor rated this place we though we would give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised. Rooms were excellent, the beds really comfortable and had fridge and proper coffee maker in each room. Easy to get access to parking at rear and to main strip. There's the added bonus of not having to pay the usual $30 a day tax which the Casino hotels charge. Pool section a bit basic but if you just want a comfortable room perfect. Plus would add staff were very friendly and helpful.

    2
« Would not recommend for the price »

Very basic hotel with no real restaurants (fast food places only) or lobby and very plain and old rooms. Suite was a good size but had no heat and tub would not drain. Not at all what I would expect from a hotel on the Las Vegas Strip in comparison with others we stayed at for previous visits.

    4
    « Everything we needed »

Stayed for 2 nights at the start of our road trip. Wanted to stay on strip but without the hype and grandeur of some of the hotels there. This hotel ticked all the boxes and it was perfect for our needs. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Our room overlooked the Mcdonalds next door and I was amazed that we could not hear any noise from outside at all. Parking was great in a lot at the back of the hotel. You do have to walk through the casino to check in which was a bit daunting as I had never been in one before, but left our cases in the car and was able to use another entrance to bring them in. This hotel is not like some of the others on the strip, it is small, not pretentious and was perfect for our stay. There is no resort tax on this hotel either. I doubt we will return to Vegas again, but if we did would not hesitate to book here again.

    « Average »

Great location- but the casino and amenities were lacking. For a BW plus I had higher expectation. Think regular BW with the plus a the location. Fast good joints in the casino, older machines and small casino floor. Just walk next door to other casinos

    5
    « hotel updated »

I have stayed here numerous times in the past and it was just room to call home while in Vegas. It has been updated by Best western and they probably have the nicest rooms for the price on the strip. Not much from the outside but the rooms are very nice. Beds are very comfortable. Best of, it's not a long walk to the casino which has been totally renovated. Fun place to be.

    5
« Not a High Rise, But Has Everything You Need »

This hotel is not a high rise, but is centrally located on The Strip. The rooms are comfortable and and the staff are friendly and helpful. Certainly if you are only staying in Las Vegas for a short break you may wish to go to a more expensive hotel, but if you are cost conscious or on a long holiday, this hotel is ideal.

    5
    « Great time!! »

Very convenient in the middle of the strip. Not the high end but still very nice, older hotel with the right upgrades. Guest rooms were clean, neat, comfortable and quiet. Secure from wandering people no problems or issues through out the stay. Definitely would use again.

    4
« Nice Room, Great Location »

I've been reading some of the other TA reviews and it's hard to believe we were staying in the same hotel. Our room was clean and spacious. We were on the 2nd floor overlooking the parking lot. Not a fabulous view, but at least you could see out. The halls were also clean and nicely decorated. You have to go through the casino to register, but the front desk person took the time to show us the direct route to the parking lot. Great customer service. I found the casino to be small and dated, but since we don't really gamble, it wasn't a big deal. The hotel is in a great location on the Strip, with plenty of restaurants, the High Roller and other sights nearby.

    4
    « Great Location »

This might not be the flashest casino on the strip but it is a great location and excellent value for money, after all, if your in Vegas you only want to go to your room to sleep. The staff were great and the rooms are clean & comfortable.

  • 3
    « Affordable »

IF u want to stay At The Strip At a reasonable price this is IT. Small rooms with not to much space for luggage! Cleaning in rooms ok but in The halls.. Not So much. For 3 days The same cigarette butt was laying in The same place! Never Ever heard a vacum cleaner. Heard The big DRILL though..since The First floor was being remodelled or something? Nothing we were told.. Dust laying heavy in halls The whole time. No breakfast. Casino At premises. No resort fee!! Plus for that! Will probably not stay again sorry..

« We love Casino Royale »

Checked in this morning and were happy to find our room was ready! Sharon was great getting us checked in quickly. Later we had a problem using our key card. Tina graciously came to our room and showed us what the problem was. We always get top notch service her. The room is clean, plenty of room and additionally you get a fridge and a Keurig coffee maker. Now we get to spend our 50th anniversary in a place we love at a hotel we love.

    3
« Run down and cheap »

We stayed in a four person room too small for 4 people with 4 bags,we basically climbed on top of our luggage. Had to disconnect the fridge because it screamed loudly. The ac was mad,17celcius one night 27 the next:/ consistently 3 of everything in a 4 person room. Didn't restock the toilet paper. Didn't tell us there would be construction all day with jackhammers and thick dust. Bedding smelled old and dirty underneath the clean sheets. Very close to everything tho and affordable, complimentary coffee,,for three;)

    5
    « Happy Stay »

Very happy with hotel. Very clean. Easy to get to the hotel parking and to the strip. Will come back to hotel again :) First any one from the any hotel we stayed took the time to call our room to see if there was anything they could do for us and if we were pleased with the room. BEST STAFF EVER .

    2
« Only if you have to!!! »

We spent 8 nights in Las Vegas and the only down side was our accommodation. We new it wasn't world class but it did not live up to our expectations. The check in process was laborious to say the least even though it was prepaid. The AC in our room was noisy and when we complained about it they told us that it was normal. Friends of ours that also stayed there did not have the same issues. We used their laundry service and had clothes ruined. The staff could only tell us to take it up with the outside contractor directly, "it wasn't their problem". The only upside is its location, right in he middle of the strip. Next time we visit Las Vegas we won't be staying there.

    4
« great value, great location »

hotel is tucked neatly between The Venetian and Harrahs. Ticket box is located next door. close by are bus services. Staff were always friendly and helpful. King room was well appointed, but could be quite noisy as situated close to ice machine and side exit.

    4
« Judge this hotel by the room, not the entry »

Although going through a not-so-upscale casino to reach the hotel office and room entry is a bit disconcerting, the room is quiet, clean and comfortable. This is the second year I've stayed there for a conference at the Venetian. The room is less than half the cost and I'm pretty sure closer to the Venetian conference center than many rooms in the Venetian. I wasn't able to check in early, which I understand--but was, nevertheless, disappointing because I needed to change into business attire and it would have been nice to have felt settled.

    5
« Excellent Service and very conveniently located »

Service was exceptional, and I do a lot of travel; particularly the front desk... Very very clean, housekeeping was excellent. Well maintained hotel as well... Well worth the money. Very conveniently located on the strip as well. I will be sending my wife, daughter and her friends back to this hotel for bachelorette party soon. Thank you

    5
« The best place to stay on the strip »

This motel has adequate size rooms that are clean and comfortable. You are across from the mirage, making this motel very assessable to the strip. The fast food places are great with Mcdonalds, white castle, subway, Nathan's hot dogs and also Outback is located here. The casino is nice and has about any game you could ask for, except there is not a poker room. Parking is very convenient and free.

    3
    « DIsapointed! »

After reading good reviews on this hotel we were really disappointed when we arrived. The room was small, dark and very dismal. Whilst it wasn't actually dirty, it wasn't particular clean and being so dark you couldn't really tell. There was an awful drain smell in the bathroom and we had to keep the plugs down all the time. The casino was OK as casinos go and yes it was cheap but I wouldn't recommend it and I really wouldn't want to stay again! The one positive, is the location, right on the strip opposite the Mirage and next to the Venetian.

« Best Hotel on the strip!! »

We received customer service like no other hotel has ever offered us! We enjoyed everything about this hotel and will always stay here when we are in the area!! It's centrally located, safe, clean, the staff is friendly, it's priced perfectly and has great amenities!

    4
« Good Location and Price »

Friendly staff, good amenities nearby. Noisy location but it is worth it for the ease of commuting on the strip. Lots of 24 hour places if you need to run out for something in the middle of the night. The only issue I had was that everything around this (amenities) were rather expensive and busy

    4
    « Value for money. »

Perhaps best value-for-money hotel on the Strip (very centrally located). Entry off the street is through a maze of slot machines which hide the reception desk. Reception is very good; personally directed to room and on departure to the taxi at the back of the hotel. Clean room with good floor space; safe, fridge and coffee machine. About 200 metres from LuxBus drop-off at Hurrahs hotel. No included breakfast but good offerings at the Venetian Casino & Hotel next door or at Best Western's own buffet facilities.

    5
    « You won't get better value »

Best value ever for on-strip accommodation. Very clean room. No resort fee, in-room safe, comfy bed, cable tv, bathroom with tub and shower and complimentary toiletries, large refrigerator (great for storing bottles of water bought at Walgreen's next door), iron/ironing board. Parking garage monitored by CCTV and 24-security guard and was easy to get in and out--just follow signs for Harrah's valet parking, go past it 100yds and garage is on the right. Would stay there again!

    3
« Great location and good value »

As others have noted this hotel is right in the middle of the action with many of the well known Casinos within a few minutes walk. The room was more like that of a mid range but perfectly adequate motel, but it was well equipped with a good sized modern TV and the place was very clean. The best thing about the hotel is its very good value for money, it's not flash, but perfectly ok. We had a really early flight on the day of our departure and the front desk rang for a taxi which arrived promptly and had us at the airport within 10 minutes.

    4
« Cheap but well furnished and maintained rooms »

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location of the hotel is excellent. Rooms are very clean and furnished with basic necessities. Ideal for group stays. we enjoyed it.

    3
    « Vegas Get A Way »

Average hotel, Very overpriced due to events going on. (Book ahead) Check in was delayed from promised time and we had a water leak from room above, but we were quickly moved to another room. Located in the middle of the strip was the only nice thing about it.

    5
    « Excellent Value »

Desk Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Room clean and spacious. Bathroom small. Bed extremely comfortable. Located in the middle of the strip, close to all shows, attractions, and restaurants. Rooms securely separate from casino. Excellent value. Would definitely stay here again.

    4
« Good value and location »

This hotel is so centrally located and has parking, clean, comfortable rooms and reception staff who are efficient and knowledgeable about their town. Coffee in rooms is a plus. Plenty of good restaurants close by and you can walk to the shows - perfect!

    4
« Simple but sufficient hotel. Perfect location »

Stayed 4 nights in this hotel. Great location. No breakfast but enough opportunities in direct surroundings. Harrah's breakfast buffet is amazing! At first arrival the check in desk was hard to find. AC was sufficient, rooms clean but sometimes quite noisy due to several parties on the hotelrooms. Must see: Fremont Street exp, 20.00h vulcano eruption at the Mirage. Outback steakhouse is good restaurant for reasonable price.

  • 4
    « Excellent hotel »

I was surprised how nice the hotel was after reading some reviews. The hotel was clean, nice rooms and quiet. Check in desk was so helpful plenty of places to park your car and lots of nice places to eat. Ok so the hotel didn't have a view but thats not what i require from a Vegas Hotel

    3
    « Good »

Pros +Central location on the Strip +No resort fees, affordable rooms + Casino downstairs with $20 complimentary credit from the hotel when joining the players club + FatTuesdays downstairs (great though pricey drinks) + Gym (poorly equipped though) + Swimming pool + Ok WiFi Cons - Somewhat worn out general appearance - No breakfast - Pool area a bit bleak and just a few sun loungers Stayed for 3 nights in october '16. Would stay again, mainly for the fairly hood value.

    5
« Best Western Casino Royale Las Vegas »

Excellent value and location in an area of much higher priced Vegas hotels. Nice pool, clean room. Convenient, free guest parking and business center. Convenient to shopping and entertainment venues. Would stay again.

    4
    « Pleasantly surprised »

Really good hotel smack bang in the middle of the strip. Although this hotel is Center strip the rooms are quiet and clean. Staff very helpful, rooms nice and clean, I thought you may have had a smokey smell but no all was good. yes we would return. And free parking too boot.

    3
    « So-so property, won't return. »

We saw this hotel on our last trip to Las Vegas and wanted to try it. We stayed for 6 nights (October 5 - 11) and won't stay again. The front desk staff was great, quick check in and good service the few times we needed them. However, there was a horrible musty smell in the hallway (water leak?) which we saw in a review before booking, but it was the only mention we saw so we figured the reviewer was just being overly picky. Nope, they were right on the money and the odor bordered on over-powering, but that was just in the hallway. Our room smelled fine, though we did light some candles to be sure. By the 3rd day of our stay the smell in the hallway was gone (no, we weren't used to it, there were workers in the halls on day 2, finding the cause). Our room was fairly clean but you can see the age on the hotel even though they have made attempts to upgrade. The Kureig coffee machine in the room was a plus, tho I had to keep leaving notes to request coffee, sugar and towels. The hotel is only 4 stories, which is good because 1 of the 2 elevators was broke the entire week and on 1 day, both elevators wee broken.

    4
« Casino Royale, Las Vegas »

Great value hotel right in the middle of all the noise and hustle you can get to swim. sleep quietly ,and be surrounded by all the major street bars and quick bites. Rooms make up for the lack of cosmetic front view you would expect . Yes, I recommend.

    5
« Friendly Hotel in great location »

Had a great stay at Casino Royal right in the middle of the Strip, couldn't of asked for a better location. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and the tea / coffee machine a really nice touch. Would recommend as a good value way to stay on the strip.

    4
« Right on the strip »

This hotel is right on the Las Vegas Strip. We did not rent a car so this was the perfect location to walk to the Terry Fator show at the Mirage and Celine Dion at Caesar's Palace right across the street. This Best Western does not offer breakfast. The room had a small fridge but no microwave. The Outback restaurant is upstairs and there are a few restaurants nearby. There are a few fast food restaurants in the casino downstairs but beware the prices are much higher than the same restaurant in town. To find the front desk for the hotel you have to wind your way around the casino to get to it. Then wind around the casino to get to the rooms. Our room was small but clean. We had a problem with the sink not draining but maintenance came and fixed it while we were out. The only real problem we had were guests going to their rooms at all hours of the night and yelling and being very loud letting their room doors slam. I guess this is to be expected at a hotel with a casino. The price of the room was very reasonable and very convenient being right on the strip.

    4
    « Good »

Rooms are very nice and comfortable. Only one problem is noise from other guests from the corridor. But only if they go drunk to their rooms... very helpfull staff on the reception. Room are clean, no noise from the street, amazing location.

    4
    « Good Time »

For a small hotel in a great location surrounded by huge hotels this is a good choice. And the Outback, Denny's and Walgreens is a big plus. Easy access to the Venetian and the Mirage. The wifi was not great.

  • 5
« CP ratio good enough for Sand Expo period »

Room is clean, location is great, everything convenience with parking! Every year we spend time here and near by the main street to go everywhere. If you drive car, this will be the best with free parking and great access to everywhere.

    1
« centre of the strip so convenient in terms of location »

location perfect right in the centre of the strip so easy to walk to most venues, Buses nearby for destinations further afield.Rooms are dated and noisy due to the location, the cleanliness of the rooms left a lot to be desired.

    5
« Best Western plus Casino Royale »

The hotel is centrally located with easy access to the 'Strip'. The receptionist was most helpful in giving advice and directions. The rooms were spacious and lean with daily service. The facility to make coffee was most welcome. For those who wish to have reasonably priced stay in welcoming accommodation this is the hotel for you.

    3
« Lack of integrity concerning »

Overall stay was good. Hotel in general is showing it's age but the rooms have been updated and are comfortable. The staff we neither rude or welcoming, just blah. Unfortunately, I left my jacket hanging on a chair when I checked out. I called the hotel and they put me through to their lost and found, no jacket turned in. It's definitely on me for forgetting my jacket but the lack of integrity is concerning for future travel.

    4
« Best place to stay ON the strip for cheap »

My husband and I stayed at the best western casino royale from 9/7/16-9/11/16 This is our 2nd trip to Vegas I was so lucky to find this hotel! Literally it is the cheapest hotel on the main part of the strip by ceasars.its in a very central location rigbt in the middle of the main strip with the wynn and downtown to one end and bellagio ,planet Hollywood and mandaly bay at the other so everything was rather close starting out every day. We did not plan on spending any time in our room but for sleep so we didnt mind it being a regular place no bells no whistles..The hotel part itself is just like a best western anywhere else a regular plain CLEAN hotel it's great! No insane resort fee of 30-40$ per night on top of the rate like all the other hotels on the strip.they have a casino as well I loved it not too big and the machines payed very well!the one thing I didn't love was that you have to walk through the casino to get to the front desk for the hotel so it's a little confusing checking in, but not too bad after 16 hrs drive!they give you a free 20$ to play when u get a reward card and for every 50 or maybe 60$ you lose they pay you 20$! It is the only best western I have been to that didn't include breakfast but with the rates being so cheap and it being in vegas I wasn't too surprised or disappointed. I would definitely stay here again every time I go back to Vegas unless I just wanted to waste $ on a fancy room with extra fees that I won't even spend any time in!last but not least another but of my favorite part of this place is that you get free parking in a covered garage with really great security patrolling the grounds and the garage I felt safe myself and all the junk in my car too! Thank bestwesterncasino! Made my 5 yr anniversary trip very easy see you soon I hope!

    4
« Quiet place on the Strip »

The location is great, right next to the Venezian, and across the street from the Mirage. It is a small hotel, and it was really quite despite the fact there's always a lot of noice everywhere in Las Vegas. The room was large and clean, the bed ok. Good price too. I would rate it "five" if breakfast was included.

    5
    « Casino Royale - Wow »

We did not stay @ their hotel (Best Western), but spent a lot of time in their casino & restaurants! Next time in Las Vegas, we will definitely stay in their hotel based upon our experience w/ the casino. It was "old" Las Vegas. Personnel were happy and very helpful. Nothing asked couldn't be done and they had a smile on their face when doing it. The slots were very friendly and a lot of fun. I also met a lot of nice people playing the slots. People seemed very happy working there, especially the cashiers, Gregg (I hope that was his name) one of their casino managers, the front desk, hostess who brought me coffee & the nice person who personally brought cream for my coffee. The casino has four restaurants in their food court in addition to a White Castle & Walgreen's next door plus a ticket booth on the right. McDonald's is there as well as Outback, Panda Express & Denny's (very accessible). The casino offers $20 on their card after you lose $20 and then after $100 spent (easily done); they also comped us dinner for $60 @ Outback & $10 for Ben & Jerry's at the entrance to the casino. The casino was basically a "win-win" which was why we spent a lot of time there. We asked why so easy to enjoy the casino, and it was explained "they were privately owned!" Thanks so much Casino Royale for making our trip so enjoyable.

    « perfect location »

We stayed at this hotel for the second time. This hotel is perfectly located on the strip and it is cheaper that the resort hotels. The hotel is not so big which is what we like. The room was nice, not big but convenient and clean. The room-amenities are better than in the resort-hotels, there is a fridge and coffeemaker. There is also a small pool, not used by many people. We will stay again the next time in Vegas.

« Las Vegas on your own »

I spend 5 nights and then later 10nights at the Casino Royale The staff were pleasant and very helpful. The hotel was convenient to everything in the middle of the strip Shopping, eating and entertainment was available without going out very far for a senior visiting on my own Would recommend without hesitation

« I came to Vegas to go to a conference at the Las Vegas Convention Center. »

I liked that this hotel was a short walk away from the Convention center. I didn't come to Vegas to gamble or go to shows, but liked that the monorail station was a short walk away, too. As a speaker at a conference, I liked that I was able to prepare in my room before I spoke and had no difficulties getting to the venue on time.

    « very good value »

I would heartily recommend this hotel as it is right on Las Vegas Blvd. The room was clean and tidy and has a room safe. The staff are friendly and helpful. The pool area is clean but does not have enough sun loungers, can be no where to sit/lay when busy.

    « Nice little hôtel »

Nothing to say, nice stay, nice room and nice pool as well. Right on the strip, super spot and super bed. Not to many rooms, a little pool that is not crowded and kind staff. Would definitely come back again one day.

« Good hotel in good location »

Attached to one of the smaller casinos on the strip. Registration is in the middle of the casino which is less than ideal as you also share the queue with people requiring services in relation to the casino. This impacts heavily on the waiting time for registration and check out (when only one receptionist appeared to be on duty). Our room was tastefully decorated, quiet and comfortable. The hotel is also fairly central for all the amenities of the strip.

« Excellent location, highly recommend »

We would definitely recommend the Casino Royale to anybody that was planning on staying in Las Vegas. For the price we paid, the location of the hotel on the strip is perfect. It is very central to all other casinos, restaurants, etc. Added bonus was right next door was tix4tonight where you can book restaurants and shows at very reasonable rates. Also with this hotel is free parking with easy access. We stayed in room 322. The bed was comfortable. There was free wi-fi, also a coffee making machine and fridge in the room. The room was serviced daily and toiletries were supplied. The room was a reasonable size. We had no concerns with any noise from the casino. A perfect hotel for our 3 night stay.

« Perfect Hotel for Us »

I had deliberately selected Casino Royale as it is a smaller hotel on the Strip. It suited us perfectly. We were greeted on arrival by Felicia, who went above and beyond to walk us to our room, showing us the different entrances to the hotel and which one to use when bringing our luggage from our car. Our room overlooked the car park, but we hadn't come to Vegas to spend time in our room! Everything was very clean and the room was a decent size for the two of us. There was no smell of smoke from the casino, in fact, I didn't notice much of a smell of smoke in the casino either. We ate breakfast each morning in the Denny's next door and had a couple of meals in the Outback Steakhouse upstairs. We were more than happy with our choice of hotel for our stay in Vegas and would definitely stay at Casino Royale again.

« Great value in very good location. »

    Cons: - no breakfast option; Pros: - great value for very good location; - free parking included; - no additional fees besides the room cost; - good WiFi connection; - clean rooms; - non-stop casino in the hotel lobby;

« Loved it. Would absolutely stay again! »

This hotels location is excellent, very central on the strip. It is also a smaller hotel compared to most in Las Vegas so you can leave your room and be on the strip in a few minutes. The staff were very helpful, especially a security guard named Kevin who helped us with our cases all the way to our room. Check in and out was speedy, no time wasted. We had an issue with our safe, someone was at the door within 10 minutes to sort it. The rooms were clean with pleasant decoration. The rooms also had a refrigerator and coffee maker which are useful. We would definately stay here again.

    « Keep it up! »

My wife & I stayed here because the location can't be beat. Thomas @ the front desk found out it was our anniversary & went above & beyond to make the occasion unforgettable! Great customer service is hard to find these days, everyone should have to be trained by him! Bartenders are attentive, funny & helpful. You can never beat the $1 Michelob Light's @ all times! Rooms are nice, exactly what is needed & priced reasonable. Thanks for not changing into the rest of the fufu hotels in Vegas. The only thing that needs a facelift is the food court, but there are so many choices close by that it wasn't a big deal. Please don't go cheesy corporate, we would definitely stay here again!

« Motel type rooms but it was very clean. Also a coffee maker + supplies provided in room. »

Stayed for 1 night from a late flight into Las Vegas. Rooms are not plush top grade hotel rooms but more basic motel type but still had everything needed, clean towels, toiletries and very pleased to see a coffee maker and supplies. Room was on ground floor but was quiet and felt safe. It is very well situated and right across the road from The Mirage (where you can get a great buffet including drinks) If does have a small outdoor pool which is accessible only by hotel guests. If you just need a base and somewhere to lay your head after a busy day in Vegas this will suffice but it does not have the grandeur or any facilties of the larger hotels.

« Clean, comfortable budget hotel on the strip!! »

My five star rating is NOT based on a luxury Vegas hotel but based on a budget hotel in an almost perfect location on The Strip. Be warned that turning into the parking can be tricky due to the crowds, other than that it was a perfect location for a budget trip. The room was on the small side but updated, comfortable and super clean and fresh. The shower had great pressure, the towels were good quality for a budget hotel and the sheets and blankets were nice. The beds were on the firm side, I like it a little softer but they were still comfortable and got the job done. There is a Walgreens, White Castle, Subway, Nathan's Hot dogs, Cinnabon, Outback Stakehouse, Denny's and a pretzel place all located in the casino. The casino was clean, fun and they have $1 ice cold Michelobs. One person in my party won $200 and another $80 on the first $20 that they give you free with the players club card. It's in the perfect location for walking The Strip and a good location for those who like to just hangout at the casino. You honestly never have to leave. It's a very casual casino and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.

    « Back to the Best 2016 »

Did a return trip back to Best Western Plus Casino Royale in August 2016 , still the same hospitality thanx to Reggie / Allan , room had no view but no problem manager changed us to one with view of pool which is one of the cleanest we have been to anywhere . The rooms were well looked after staff always helpful , security is very safe . The lift was being serviced , waiting for parts [ us 14 days ] so was a bit of a hassle but understandable there was another lift not too far away so was ok . The Casino has had a few changes which make it much smaller in capacity but there are [ in Las Vegas ] sooooo many others if you want to visit . We liked Ellis Island / Eastside Cannery / Sam's Town / Orleans / Rio all off the strip but each with it's own personality and payouts are / seem to be better me no / wife yes which still made me happy . We enjoyed our stay again but hope our dollar rate is [ much better ] next time . Best Wishes to All Travellers

« Good location, simple but nice »

Centrally located in the middle of the strip. You will get what you want on surrounding area with RTS station just a minute away. Not the fancy and grand among others hotel in strip but is really comfortable. I spend 6 nights here and will be back to this hotel for my next visit to LV.

    4
« Centre of the strip »

Stayed here for 3 nights and was reasonably happy with the room except no one could show us how to use the air conditioner which was ridiculously loud. There didn't seem to be anyone on staff who had any housekeeping knowledge. The casino itself is small, and therefore claustrophobic compared to the larger ones and is smoky and smelly. It didnt help with ashtrays overflowing and no cleaning staff in sight. The location is perfect being in the centre of the strip and right across the road from the Mirage. Another advantage is there is no resort fee at this hotel.

    5
    « Great Location »

Great location. Next to the Venetian. Within walking distance of many casinos. Free parking garage that is attached. Rooms are nice. Casino is part of the hotel. Parking garage is well lit. They seem to be having problems with the elevators while I was there. Staff was very nice.

    5
    « Great location »

Not a fancy place but great value for the money. Staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Reggie at the front desk. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. Could use a better selection for food in the food court but oh well. Overall our group of 9 were very pleased with the hotel.

    « Great hotel »

This hotel was perfect for us. It's on the strip and right in the middle of everything. It was very reasonably priced and the room was nice. It had air con, a fridge and a safe. The staff were friendly.

« An average hotel. Value for the Strip »

Positives and negatives giving an average rating. It has the feel of an old and tired hotel. The carpets need updating, the decor needs updating and the hotel generally is a bit dark and dingy. It also has an overpowering smell of a lemon type cleaner which is not nice. This was on the corridors as well as in our bedroom. The bedroom itself is very nice the bed is really comfortable and the bathroom good. However, the shower was weak and the sink tap flow was weak. The casino in the hotel is also very tired.

    « Excellent »

Great location and on the strip! Prices are good and rooms are clean and roomy. Friendly staff everywhere. A bit of a challange (lol) to find the lobby. Enjoy great fun and shopping. We did have excellent shopping deals. 40-60% off in the malls!

    « Sad experience - not recommended »

We arrived in a taxi from the airport which dropped us at the hotel. We entered the hotel from what seemed like a back entrance and were shocked that we we walked into a dingy, poorly lit casino. The hotel front desk was no where in sight; we had to walk the entire length and breadth of the dingy casino asking people where it was! At the front desk we were greeted by an efficient but stern looking person. Check in process was just about OK. We were shown the way to our rooms (#138) - the passage to our room was carpeted with a very old carpet and the entire passage seemed dingy and poorly lighted. The room and toilet were good but the tap water was terrible - very hard, no lather and made our hair all flat and sticky. The safe provided in the room did not work. When we informed the lady at the front desk, she sent a security officer to have a look. He came, checked and informed us the there was a glitch and only the engineer could correct but he would come in only after 7:00 AM the next morning. We had a tour starting at 6:00 AM so could not use the safe and had to lug our laptops and all other valuables with us through the tour. On checking out we were greeted by the most uncourteous front office person. When we told him about the problem we faced and expected a proper explanation he gave us a very disgusted look and said only the manager could help us and he would not be in until 9:00 AM. We had to leave at 7:30 AM to catch a flight Strong Recommendation - there are many more better hotels at similar price points. Do not get fooled by the high rating it has (wonder why?)

    « Trip of a lifetime »

Stayed here for 5 nights from 26th August - 31st. Excellent experience, smooth check in and out, reception staff were great and arranged our departure transportation for us. Well worth the money, small compared to the other grand hotels on the Strip but suited our needs completely. Our room was lovely and located on the fourth floor, hotel was next to Harrah's and Venetian and directly opposite the Mirage. No resort fees! Yes I would stay there again. Had a great trip.

« Hotel placed conveniently on strip »

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. It is placed conveniently on the strip. Walk out the front door and Caesars is right across the street. Everything you need is within walking distance.

    « A pleasant surprise. Great value »

Booked this place because of the reviews, the location and the price. It proved to be a good choice. Located in low profile casino which you have to go through to get to the rooms, we arrived about noon but got into the room straight away which was a bonus. The room was on the ground floor which was a bonus - no lifts to contend with. We had a view of the pool area which is fairly small but ok. The room was a good size, comfortable and not noisy. It had a fridge and a coffee machine which apparently is not standard in other facilities in Vegas. It is in a great location - next to the Venetian and close to restaurants and bars and a cheap tix booth virtually outside its doors. The staff were friendly and helpful and the place was cheap - about four times cheaper than a similar room in New York. Very satisfied.

« Noise, slummy area, rude employees, no room for wheelchair in bathrooms and barely goes in the room period! »

Noise, banging, singing by employees from 7 a.m. until around 2 p.m. all 3 days of stay. Do Not Disturb posted... maids still knocking on doors, cable repair working in rooms loud, laughing trying to get in our rooms all day turning door handle. Knocking on door to specifically ask to gain admittance to work on TV with do not disturb on door on 2nd day.... no sleep for elderly parents for 3days. Dad's wheelchair (stroke victim) barely fit into room and would not fit in bathroom doorway so he never got a bath in handicap tub... we'd taken hush.potty chair or he's had to go in the floor! Elevator didn't work so Thank God we were on grid floor. Hotel is not reputation I've come to expect from a Best Western. Casino, girls never came around to ask us if we needed anything so was charged 4.00 dollars by bartender for ordering 2 lousy plain iced teas from him. Went next door to Harrah's for awhile and they gave all 3 of us free water while we played and served my parents with respect! Don't stay at this Best Western, it'll ruin your vacation in Vegas.

« Dollar beers in Vegas end of story!! »

Okay this is the best place to go In Vegas folks! Dollar beers!! Michelob Amber and light are one dollar and you gotta take advantage of that! Also 3 dollar foot long hot dogs it's save to say best place in Vegas because of the deals I definitely will be back

    « Experience the Strip »

With lights, the fabulous fire show, Bellagio Fountain and walk through the strip attractions, it was great fun. Stay at Best Western was so convenient with plenty options to Gamble and experiences all attractions walking.

    « 5 day visit »

excellent location in middle of strip, we travelled via Luxbus from Anaheim and the drop off point At Harrah's made the short walk with suitcases to the hotel a big bonus, check in was quick and efficient and the desk clerk showed us directly to the room. Rooms were very tidy and décor was modern rooms had a fridge and safe, No resort fees was a bonus..slots seemed very tight . A number of food options are in the hotel or close at hand including White Castle,Denneys, subway etc would rate hotel as very good budget option and will be looking to stay there again on next trip,

« Best Value for the Location »

If you're like us finding the best value for our dollar is important, We then have more to spend on fun things. This hotel is located in the center of the Vegas Strip with rooms for a small cost. The best price is during mid-week. How does $79 a night for a room across from the Mirage sound? The room and bathroom are smaller than some but very clean with a coat of fresh paint. It's not the Bellagio but you can not beat the value. No free breakfast but what hotel dose on the Strip. Sign up for their players card and the first $20 gambling is on the hotel.

    « good experience »

Good hotel. I was disappointed that there was no breakfast available. Or maybe there was but I was not informed when I checked in. I really liked that they are very open in doing late check outs. Even though there is a lot of commotion at the casino downstairs you couldn't hear anything in the guest room which was really good. I really enjoyed my stay!

    5
    « A great hotel »

I chose this hotel on price and location. I was very pleasantly surprised to see HOW central it was. In common with most Las Vegas hotels, you have to wend your way through a sometimes smoky casino to reach the hotel entrance, but the reception staff (Laurie in particular) were delightful to deal with. Once through the hotel entrance, you're in a world of calm. Interesting art works on the corridor walls. My room had a spacious bathroom, kitchenette, room safe, air con etc. It was great. I will definitely stay here again.

    3
    « OK Stay »

Not impressed with this hotel, but the location is perfect on the strip. Room was OK. Finishes in common areas are old and tired. You have to walk through a down-market casino to get to front desk or rooms. But the staff was very friendly and helpful. If you don't plan to spend a lot of time in your room, there are many fantastic casinos and restaurants/retail right next door. Also located next to Harrah's monorail stop.

« Good location and price »

This is a small basic hotel in a good location on the Strip. Guests have to search for the hotel desk in the midst of a small gaming floor. It is an older hotel that doesn't offer any of the glamour of its better-known neighbours. It is an easy walk from this hotel to most of the main attractions on the Strip. The staff were helpful, though we didn't ask much of them. It is noisy - as you expect on the Strip. The walls are thin and we had to endure a lot of unsavoury noise from a neighbouring room on one of the nights - lots of banging, etc. We only used this was somewhere to sleep on the way to and from the Grand Canyon. We would not have wanted to stay for more than a night or two.

    4
    « Comfortable Room »

This is an older place, the receptionist in the casino which I thought was different. Don't expect an opulent lobby, there isn't one. The room itself was really lovely and clean and the location is superb. There is a pool area which isn't glamorous, just a pool and lounge chairs, we enjoyed it though.

« Casino Royale still has low stake double field roulette and cheap eats »

My wife and I come in from Boston four times a year for many years now. We are in our mid-50s and like to gamble. Casino Royale is a small casino but we love to play roulette there. They used to have two double field roulette tables with low stakes -- generally a $4.00 minimum most times. Now there is only one left but it is always packed. They should bring that other double field roulette table back !!! We play here every trip. It is a different experience from the big chain casinos and we have won a lot of money here. On a quick stop on our way to the Venetian last Thursday night, we played roulette for about 30 minutes and I was up $800.00 and my wife was up over $200. It's not always that way but what a blast. There is always a fun, party atmosphere around the roulette play here. I really like. It's not as glitzy as other casinos but we always enjoy ourselves here. Also, when you don't want to go the expensive fine dining route or a big buffet, we hit the Subway shop in the back. It's not bad and a better food option than junky fast food. We also hit the White Castle there (yes. Junky fast food) but if you're going the fast food route, White Castle is a great option.

    4
    « Fantastic location »

Stayed here for two nights - right next to the Venetian. No resort fee, free wifi , free ample parking . Friendly staff. Clean rooms and free toiletries. Good air con . Free breakfast would have given it 5 stars . Can't fault the hotel for where it is - right on the strip. Parking is behind so be careful not to miss the turning.

    5
    « Outstanding Value!! »

We found this hidden gem through TripAdvisor and were really pleased with our choice. One down-side is having to walk through the gaming area from the rear of the hotel, which is a bit of a struggle with suitcases but a lot of the Vegas casino/hotels are the same in this regard, it's just a bit different. Not sure how many rooms they have but the hotel is only four floors high so extremely small compared to other HUGE Vegas casinos. We were pleasantly surprised with our room on the fourth floor overlooking the lovely outdoor swimming pool area - which was beautifully clean and well maintained. Our room was not big, but well laid out and very clean, the king bed was very comfortable and the room was extremely quiet, great bed linen and pillows. Free, fast wi-fi included in the tariff and no daily resort fee, which is unheard of in Vegas. Breakfast is not included but it's not a problem as there is any amount of places to eat all along the Strip, wasn't a problem for us. We loved this hotel because of the reasonable price and the great location - pretty much halfway along the Strip (next door to the Venetian,) so close to everything and you can catch buses to places too far to walk or catch a cab. Felicia checked us in and couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, and Reggie and Thomas were on the day we checked out and they also were gorgeous guys, extremely helpful, happy and friendly. Sure, there are a lot of much grander places to stay in Vegas, but at huge prices and this hotel is unbeatable as far as it's location, location, location!! Would highly recommend it, nothing I would fault!

« Value for money, Top location »

In all likelihood, you are going to be spending most parts of your day and night on the strip / on Fremont street / in a casino. There is no point in investing in an expensive place. For the price, felt that it gave the most value for money, recommended it - and not just if you are on a budget trip. Pros This hotel is a no-frills, clean place Awesome location - bang in the middle of the strip. Staff were friendly, and in fact, despite us landing up way ahead of schedule, the hotel let us have an early check in. Cons May not be the right place, if you are looking for a hotel with many amenities or some luxury. The rooms and casino within the hotel seem a bit old / non flashy

    4
« Budget hotel in amazing location »

Casino Royale is fairly underwhelming in comparison to the rest of the other grand, high-rise Vegas hotels on the LV Strip. That being said, despite its modest decor, size and budget (you'll pay almost a third of what you'd pay at any of the bigger hotels AND it's the only Strip hotel not charging a daily resort fee) this hotel is fantastic - it's located centrally on the Strip with many attractions, shows, eateries, bars, etc being within walking distance, or a short bus-ride on the Deuce away. (The Deuce is a bus which runs up and down the Strip, and down Fremont Street - I believe you can get a 24-hour pass for about $8USD). Not only is Casino Royale considerably cheaper than any other stays on the Strip, but from what I have read/heard it's one of the few places that actually provides a fridge at no extra cost. There's a Walgreen's right next door, so if you want extra milk for coffee/tea, or you feel like some non-restaurant food it opens up a few more options for you. This came in very handy for my fresh fruit stash and coffee dependency the week I stayed! As with a few of the hotels in Vegas, to get to hotel check-in you do need to walk through the casino itself which smells quite strongly of smoke and is pretty dark, but being such a small hotel it's relatively easy to find hotel reception and in my experience, the hotel was never so packed that it was awkward to move luggage through. You will be dropped off/picked up at the back end of the hotel, as cabs cannot stop on the Strip, so make sure keep this in mind! While there's no fancy dining experiences at CR, there is a Denny's next door, an Outback Steakhouse upstairs within the building itself and, if you're craving a little snack at 4am after all that bar-hopping there's also a White Castle, Subway and $1 hot dog place on site. Admittedly, these also came in pretty handy some nights. :P In summary, if on your trip to Vegas you're looking for a high-end fancy hotel stay with fine-dining, top notch in-room services or the high roller treatment then Casino Royale probably isn't the place for your, but if you're looking for a relatively cheap hotel that still boasts pretty excellent practical services (that some of the expensive hotels don't) and a top location then I would definitely recommend staying here! And honestly, who wants to spend $3k on a hotel when they could spend a third of that and go shopping at the nearby Grand Canal Shoppes instead. :D I stayed at Casino Royale on my first trip to Vegas and will be staying again when I go back later in the year.

« Excellent rapport qualité prix. Good bargain. »

Le bon compromis. Pas de luxe éblouissant mais par contre Check in rapide, parking derrière l'hôtel, bon WiFi gratuit. Literie confortable. The best bargain if you want to be in the middle of the strip, with free parking just back the hotel, free WiFi, quick check in at sensible price.

    « Hotel Opinion »

Everything went great at check in the gentleman was extremely helpful regarding showing us where and how to go thru casino to get to rooms, he upgraded us as well because we are priority members and was very nice and genuinely concerned that we would have a good stay

« Excellent value for money »

Have stayed in Las Vegas before but this time decided to try the Best Western as it appeared to have a great location but was reasonably priced. Central on the Strip opposite the Mirage and next to Harrahs and The Venetian. Reception staff were excellent, very helpful. Rooms had good facilities including safe and iron/ironing board. Good pillows and mattress. Housekeeping staff very efficient. Ticket booth right outside for cheaper same day tickets for shows (recommend Cirque de Soleil "Love" The Beatles) and discounts for dinner buffets including The Mirage. Harrah's does a pretty good breakfast Buffet next door for us$20. If we return to Vegas we would definitely stay here again.

« Right on the strip »

Casino Royale is in a great location. It feels a bit overwhelming walkng through the casino to get to check in, especially after a long days travel, but the check in staff were efficient and really friendly. The room was a good size, bed was huge and very comfortable. Coffee and tea maker in the room was great. Also, having a fridge was a bonus, a friend was staying at another casino and if they wanted to have use of the fridge in their room it was an extra $25 a day. The room was serviced every day. Wifi was fast and reliable. The casino itself is quite small so we didnt spend much time there - the beers were $1.00 tho, so pretty cheap. The pool was small but still a good place to cool off after a hot day. Overalll would recommend and would stay there again.

« Nice, Clean Room with Fridge »

I love that this hotel isn't trying to be the best on the strip, they are just trying to be the best that they can be. The rooms are nice, clean and efficient. I loved that each room had a small fridge in it. The staff was always very helpful too. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

    5
« The Front Desk Is Amazing! »

This is an older small hotel nestled next to Vegas giants. The decor is 1970's. The hallways and rooms are immaculate. There is a fridge in the room ( yeah) NO resort fees ( yeah). The nicest most pleasant front desk people ever. No waiting 20 minutes to check in ( Vegas norm). Helpful helpful helpful nice nice nice

    5
    « Nice stay »

It was an unexpected two day stay when my flight was canceled at midnight. I had a comfortable and clean room with good internet service. The room was quiet despite ground floor location. Generally, the personnel were courteous and very helpful. A microwave in the room would have been nice. Hotels need to realize that you cannot make tea in a machine used for coffee; the coffee oils permeate the plastic and taint the tea.

    4
« Good budget option for the strip »

If you want to stay on the strip then this hotel gives you a good budget option. The room was not large but not too small either and was pretty quiet considering our proximity to the strip. The check in process was seamless and the lady who served is was bubbly and very helpful (she even called to see if everything was ok soon after we went to our room). I'd definitely stay again if I returned to Vegas given its convenience and price

« A cool little spot on the Vegas Strip »

My wife and I had a quick fun getaway to las Vegas. Having been to vegas before I wanted to find a hotel that didn't have an outrageous resort fee. I remember seeing casino Royale before so I decided to check it out and boy was I glad we did. Come to find out Casino Royale is the only spot on the strip that does not charge a resort fee. The hotel and casino was average at best but it in a great location as it right at the center of it all. The bed was pretty hard but the room was clean and manageable for a few nights. One of the cool features of the hotel were the free water bottles at the gym which I found to be helpful before stepping out in the hot Nevada sun. Would I stay here again? Maybe. It was really just a cool little spot on the Vegas strip. Nothing less, nothing more.

    « 50th Birthday Getaway »

Hotel rooms and beds were comfortable, pool was nice (not hot bath water like some other locations!), drinks were free while gambling, location was great and near everything you could possibly want/need, and the staff was very friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

« Great spot and fantastic staff »

Fantastic location, it is right next to MacDonald's. Its also next door to the venation and across the road from casers palace and the mirage. This was a great place as it was in the middle of the strip but had a very relaxed feel ( which after a few days on the strip is amazing). The staff were joking around and very playful they made our stay quite enjoyable. The best part is the coffee machines and a fridge in the room. In Vegas these are very rare but much appreciated when its hot and you want a cold bottle of water.

    5
« Central, comfortable and affordable »

We arrived at midnight and check in was easy and quick, our room was comfortable and spacious. It is right next to everything on the strip and easy to get shuttle buses via harrods (next door) to anywhere slightly further out. Everything was easy to access and a pool on the first floor was very clean.

Stayed for 3 nights with kids and had no problems. Staff very helpful and the location was really good. The room sizes were good but there wasn't much room to move if you had 3 suit cases but it was OK as its only 3 nights.

    « Great Location »

We stayed here two nights and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a great location, just opposite Caesars Palace and the Mirage, with the Venetian and the High Roller right behind. The rooms were quiet and cool during the night even though it's right on the busy strip and there were plenty of places to eat both inside and nearby. There was plenty of fun to be had in the casino as well if you're looking to gamble!

« Clean, quiet and great location »

I was pleasantly surprised when checking in. The hotel is right on the strip, yet the rooms are very quiet. Easy access for guests with a key card, clean, spacious rooms, and a nice quiet pool area. I have stayed at a couple big name places on the strip before, and these rooms were just as nice, if not nicer, than those big name places. The staff was extremely nice, and the rooms was spacious, clean, and comfortable.

« Nice rooms and great location »

The best thing about this hotel is its location: right in the middle of the Strip among all the famous casinos and resorts. The second best thing is its price! If you're not interested in all the resort facilities that other hotels offer in Las Vegas this is your choice. Sure, to get to your room you'll have to go through a smoky casino and reception are, but you're in Vegas: you'll be walking through smoky casinos all the time! All in all we would definitely choose this hotel if we were to come to Las Vegas again.

    « Location location location! »

Stayed here for two night. The room was clean, but the view on the parking lot wasnt the best and the noise from the garbage men in the early morning was rather annoying. (we like to keep a window open for fresh air but closed it the second night) The beds were confy as was the shower. Really good coffee maker in the room. And, best of all, the location, right across the mirage so right on the Strip. A bus stop nearby to go to Freemont so that was great as well. A Denny's and a Walgreen's almost onsite. Would stay here again.

« gambling trip to Vegas »

Perfectly located in the center of the strip. OK rooms with decent internet. Big + is the fridge in the room. Likely to return to this hotel or hotel close by. Located very close to Venetian and Caesars Palace

« Great cheap stay on the strip »

We were very satisfied with our stay at this hotel. If you're wanting a cheaper place to stay that still has great access to the strip, this is your place. There is not a good view, so If you're wanting a view of the strip you may want to go elsewhere. Our view was the dumpsters. The water also smelled really awful, but I'm sure it's just the city water. The Casino is also great as well. We were satisfied!

    « Vacation »

It was a perfect location in the center of the strip. The rooms were very clean you had a coffee maker a refrigerator and a safe. The staff was very friendly. You have many choices of different restaurants to eat at, we will be back next year. It's a great place to stay at a very reasonable price.

« Great location and great value for money! »

As this was a trip I was paying for due to it being my partners 30th birthday, I needed to find something that was good value for money. Not having heard of this hotel as it's not one of the more popular ones, I did feel I was taking a bit of a risk! It definitely was no risk, it was great value for money and the most amazing location, right in the middle of everything. The pool was quiet and chilled which for us was great as when we want to relax by the pool, we want it to be a chilled affair and to be honest, if you want a pool party, then it's not hard to find one! Cheap beer at the bar in the hotel, god sized room, good shower and a coffee/tea machine in the room. This place can't be faulted at all in our eyes.

    4
    « Good location & Service »

This hotel is definitely recommended. The check-in was fast and smooth. Very satisfied by the service from Felicia (Receptionist). Room was good, shower was a bit dull due to slow water pouring. TV was great, a lot of channels to offer (e.g. HBO). Hotel has a clean pool which is necessary for a hotel in a 40° celsius Las Vegas. Hotel located in middle of the strip. Definitely coming back for another visit in the future.

« Slightly tired hotel right in th emiddle of the strip »

We stayed here for four nights over the July 4 weekend. The plan was to have a cheap few days in Vegas. The reality was a bit different, but that was nothing to do with the hotel. The hotel is a bit cramped, and the rooms are slightly tired, but the price reflects that, so overall it is pretty good value for money. Especially as the Best Western is surrounded by higher-class hotels and gambling halls. Personally, I don't gamble. It's not a moral thing - I have no objection to others losing their money that way. I just don't like the odds, as the whole place is designed to transfer money from the visitor's pocket to that of the banker. Vegas seems to be the ultimate theme park for adults, in a remorselessly artificial environment. This hotel has (if you want it) plenty of gaming tables and gaming machines. It is a bit cramped compared to some of the others in the immediate neighborhood. it is set over 4 floors and has a private garage. Even over the busy holiday weekend, we found no difficulty finding a good parking slot.

    « Affordable, hidden gem »

I took advantage of a "special" when browsing through Booking.com as this hotel was also central to many experiences on the main boulevard. We received friendly, personal attention and help from the main desk and were very happy with our room as it was quiet, quite adequate, and had a fridge plus air conditioning (to compensate for the very hot weather outside).

    5
« Most reasonable price on the strip! »

Very nice location, very nice hotel...quiet, slept well. Only complaint id that elevator in the garage evidently has not worked in quite some time and staff doubts there are any plans to fix it. I have a bad knee so we walked down the ramps that you drive up. Staff was great...enjoyed our stay and will be back! We hit a flash sale which made it even better!

    4
« Excellent just as last time »

I have no negative contact. You do not have a view from the hotel but I think that you do not need this either. Check in and check out was fast and very accurate. Free parking in the back, easy to find from the strip. The room was very clean and there is a Keurig coffee machine. Free fast internet. Price is very OK.

    4
    « Great Location/Great Staff »

Check-in was a breeze. The staff was very friendly and actually take the time to show you how to get to the elevator bay thru the casino. The elevators are on the older and smaller side, but they get the job done. The rooms are well appointed and have a Keurig for your morning coffee. Housekeeping cleaned our room daily and were always pleasant. The hotel does not offer free breakfast, but there are some options onsite for food as well as a Denny's/McDonalds next door. They offer a parking garage and the casino is large enough to enjoy a variety of gambling. Check out was also easy and encountered no problems. The entire staff was always happy and friendly. We will be returning, can't beat the location of being on the strip without the outrageous resort fees and resort prices.

    3
« Good enough for short stay »

The location was perfect - right on the strip and the entrance to the hotel can be either through casino or directly to the rooms' building as you prefer. Free parking with enough lots, good value for money. The rooms were clean and had all needed. The parking entrance was easy to spot from the main road (strip) - look at the sign of the hotel and the turn under it is where you need to go, though can be challenging to enter if the stream of people passing on the strip does not stop, but we never had any issue. The staff seemed to be too busy as the reception for check-in is in the main lobby of the casino (where people also smoke) and did not look much welcoming. Need to go thorough all the casino from the parking lot to reach the reception. Parking lot looked creepy as it is behind the building with all technical entrances, garbage bins, etc. The pool was on the ground in the shadow and did not look clean. The building with the rooms is small, short and the corridors looked worn.

    « EXCEEDED EXPECTIONS »

I was looking for a reasonably priced 3-4 star hotel on the Las Vegas strip and did not want to pay excess taxes. I wanted something central and easily accessible to all I wanted to do in Las Vegas. This hotel''s location was perfect. I was pleasantly surprised by the well appointed spacious ensuite room. There was great room internet, a fridge, coffee machine flat screen TV well appointed furnishings a comfortable bed and a safe.As a solo female traveller I would recommend this hotel for location, comfort, safety and room appointments. Thank you to the staff.

    4
    « Very Pleasant Surprise »

This will probably be my hotel of choice from now on when I go to Vegas. Rooms were huge, and bed was very comfortable. Excellent location on the Strip; it was very convenient leaving my room and being on the Strip in less than two minutes. Be wary, though, because the elevator is very small and the fan in the bathrooms come on with the light in the bathroom which got a bit annoying, but beyond those minute issues, I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

    4
« Las Vegas Casino Hotel »

In las Vegas was expensive and not as good as other Western Hotels in other states. The hotel is in a good location and the outside looks excellent. Has casinos, and people seems to enjoy it. The only think we didn't like is that the reception is inside the casino and the hotel didn't offer any breakfast.

    5
    « Awesome »

From the moment we walked into the front desk, the vibes were perfect. Awesome front desk staff. 2 stood out to me (don't remember their names) but, they were very helpful. The room was great. Super clean and comfortable beds. Ok view, and great pool. Pretty secured since you're right on the strip. You need your key for everything. Housekeeping was great too. Very helpful and everyone was so nice. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who goes to Vegas.

    4
    « Great staff »

This property is right on the strip and convenient to just about everything. If you don't notice, the bar has $1 dollar bottles of beer and the bar staff are exceptionally friendly and efficient. There are some restaurants right there at the property and I highly recommend the Outback Steak House. The front desk staff were very helpful and Thomas Martinez needs special recognition for effort above and beyond what might be expected. THANK YOU.

    « June 24 Weekend »

Room is decent size with Keurig coffee maker and a larger small sized refrigerator. There is only one elevator with staircase to access the floors from the outside. TV channels not great. Pool is great, there weren't that many people in it. Fitness center next to the pool.

    5
    « Hidden in sight »

Fantastic small hotel right in the middle of all the action the hotel is right beside the Venetian and across the road from the mirage the room are clean and spacious there is no resort fee which is a big plus the casino covers you first $20 loss and there are $1 beers would definitely come back

    « convenient position »

I travelled from UK with my wife and her friend (all pensioners). Shuttle from the airport would only drop off at Harrah's next door saying they couldn't get into the Best Western back yard / car park. Not a big issue, however, the real reason was they have difficulty getting out of the BW car park to the strip at the fromt, trying to get through all the crowds on the pavement / sidewalk, and Harrah's yard entrance is accessed from the rear. The BW rear yard was the most pleasant of the pick up areas we saw, benches, lots of space and in the fresh air. Harrah's is an underground car park as were some other top end hotels... It was unusual pushing the auitcases through a very dark and busy casino to find the registration desk at the rear, but we got used to it. Door to guest rooms was from a different bit of the casino, again, we got used to it. Our room was a good size, clean with free wifi which worked well. We had a small kitchen next to the good bathroom, wardrobe with safe, iron and dryer. Decor in room was good, but a bit tired in the entrance corridor. Lift was a bit tired. Reception staff were excellent, hi to Katrina and a special big hello to Felicia who helped us loads, always with a confident smile. There is a business room at the ground floor, access with your room key - computers and printer. An outdoor pool at ground level looked inviting but we didn't get that far. A small hotel (compard to others) with great staff.

    5
    « Good experience »

We enjoyed our stay at this BW. It was clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful and courteous! They were nice enough to give us directions and help us decide which sights were avialable and how they were rated by guests.

« Good location, good price... adequate in every way »

Good location, good price... adequate in every way. I was in Las Wages for a conference trip. The Best Western was right across from the Mirage so I stayed there instead of at the Mirage. Its a decent, no frill place to stay... they do have a gym and pool, but I never had time for it anyway... If I had stayed at most other hotels. I would have to pay a resort fees... no time for resorting... the refrigerator in the room was a nice bonus. the wIfi was very clear and strong and easy to connect with

    5
« Excellent clean and comfortable hotel on the strip »

This is a small hotel on the strip next to Harrahs on the strip with no resort fees and all the necessary amenities near by. The room was clean with a very comfortable beds. Would consider a room on the third floor as we were on the second floor and people above must have had an early flight and made a racket at 5.30 am.

    5
    « 3-Day Vegas Trip »

The hotel is right in the center of the actions. Although our two rooms were not as large as other major casino hotels, we only used them for resting after long days having fun and exploring Las Vegas. The beds were comfortable and clean. For the money, it's a good value: no surcharge like other major hotels. The staff were friendly and helpful as well. We would recommend this hotel for family who do not wish to break a bank for accommodation.

« Loved it especially with young kids. »

We were traveling with our 3 young children & I don't think I could have found a better location with kids. This hotel was cheap but clean & comfortable in the best location. The pool was a hit with the kids in that Las Vegas heat. We had the pool to ourselves mostly. Never seen more than 2-3 people at it. It has everything you need and provides parking at the rear of the hotel which was free. For the price & no resort fees I don't think you could beat this hotel. It's not huge and fancy like the rest in Las Vegas but I liked this, it's big enough. I would stay here again it's perfect for people with kids also or people on a budget. It has food places to eat in the casino area. McDonald's and a small food court right next door and Harrahs ( which have an awesome buffet ) it's wasn't over crowded which I liked. It's clean and comfortable and is in the best location. most of all it's cheap without all the extra resort fees :)

    « Poor »

The in-room air conditioners are the loudest that I have ever heard. Made it somewhat difficult to sleep during the night. When you walk from the rooms building, by going outside, to the casino the smell of garbage is overwhelming. The internet access is also very slow. Don't make the mistake of staying here.

« Great Location, Great Room! »

We stayed here for 3 nights, parking was free and easy. Check In was nice. The casino allows smoking so it does smell like cigs in there. Our room was fantastic, very quiet and clean. We did eventually use the casino and had a blast. Way too hot to enjoy the outdoor pool, but it looked nice. Ice Machines on our floor did not work but we used the 2nd floor instead. Very nice place!

    4
« Great location, excellent price! »

The hotel is right on the strip, but rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable. Nice sized rooms and the price was excellent, which include parking! There is a McDonald's right next door and Starbucks in Harrods, another 2 minute walk. The elevators did go out while we were there, but staff were stationed on each floor to assist with baggage and they were eager to help!

    4
« Comfortable hotel in a fantastic location »

Enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Best Western Plus Casino Royale, as part of a longer 2 week touring break. The rooms were comfortable and of decent proportion, and everything was very clean. The rooms were also very well soundproofed, which was good considering it was on the Strip. The staff were pleasant and when we had an issue with our safety deposit box, a member of staff was up within 5 minutes to put this right. The car park is included, just as a hint, follow the signs for Harrah's hotel/casino to access the carpark. All in all, a decent hotel in a fantastic location.

    4
    « Fantastic location »

Good 3 star accommodation on the vegas strip half the price of other nearby hotels, cheapest drinks in vegas, rooms a good size with fridge coffee machine and safety deposit box, room cleaned daily and staff all very friendly, pool area small but nice and quiet, would highly recommend.

« It was not what I expected »

After being in others Best Western we thought this will be a good option, but I think you can go to the others famous hotels for less money or just pay a little difference and you will be better. Pros:The location is great! you are in the famous Strip! WiFi, Microwave, fridge, safe, staff nice and friendly. Cons: to go to the front desk you need to go first into the casino (hold your breath if you dont like smoking), the ceilings are low and the aisles a little dark. NO breakfast included. No big deal, and if you are in las Vegas you can get better options.

    3
    « Great location, noisy air-con »

Staff relocated us after our room had and excessively eggy odor (I suspect an air-con issue). New room was fine, but air-con is noisy and disrupted our sleep. Staff were good. Location is great, right in the middle of the strip.

« Great Las Vegas Strip Location »

Very nice hotel. The rooms are a little small, guess this is ok when you see all the nice things to do around you. lot of wonderful site to take in, great places to eat, great shopping, and gaming if you are in to that type of stuff.

    « Room Review »

This was the fourth time staying here (March 2016) and we were really disappointed. We usually stay on the bottom floor due to the fact that we have an electric scooter. Most of the time the elevator is broken (there are only 2) and it is old and really small. The rooms are newly remodeled and very nice, never a problem with cleanliness or any discomfort. Can't beat the location and easy access to the street from the casino. However, this last time we were towards the end of the hallway on the bottom floor and our room and hallway smelled like a really dirty nursing home. That is the only analogy I can think of at the moment. I don't know if it is because it is so old and the carpet in the hallways are moldy underneath or whatever, but, we wont stay there again for that reason. It is a shame because the rooms are really nice, but, the smell is a big turn off.

    3
« Terrific location, great price »

Rooms very clean and well set-up. On the bus line and across from Caesar's Forum. The hallways are a bit tired. Staff helpful. Gym small but adequate. Business centre very good. Best part and the reason I would definitely stay again...no resort fee!

    « Dollar beers were a bonus! »

My wife and I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus Casino Royale for 3 nights, and we had a great time, the Central location on Las Vegas Boulevard was an ideal starting point for us to explore the attractions and Casino's Vegas has to offer, starting with The High Roller (Pretty much next door at The Linq). The Beds were comfortable and we both had mostly undisturbed sleep during our stay, clearly we were in a 24hr City, so the odd door closing and people returning to their rooms at all hours were heard, but we would expect this in any hotel in Vegas. The Casino itself was good, we are not 'serious' Gamblers, but found they had every kind of machine/Table we could want and the staff are extremely professional and polite, obviously we explored other Casino's during our stay, which were a lot of fun, but have to say the 'down to Earth' nature of The Casino Royale suited our needs, and we spent a lot of time there, especially with the Dollar beers available from the bar (Michelob) and plenty of food options available! Keep up the good work!! We will return on our next trip :)

« Good location, good price »

Right across the street from Mirage, just up from the Venetian. I wouldn't class it as a hidden gem, but it is a decent, clean hotel, decent facilities without the "resort charges" that the bigger hotels put on you. Room was spacious, not a great view (it'll be a car park), clean, nicely decorated. Appreciated the fridge, iron and coffee maker. There is a limited gym and a business area. Would consider staying there again. Nothing outstanding, but good value.

    « Worst nights sleep »

This is a review of my first night of five and I don't think I'm going to make it too the fifth night. First up the room is noisy, its next to some sort of air con unit outside that goes on all night long. Then the mattress! Wow this thing is like a torture device, its like sleeping on a granite counter. Checking in I had to wait for the staff to finish their conversations between themselves. It was a quick and friendly check in though. The room is nice enough, good bathroom and a nice size. Walls are very thin though so you can hear noise from down the hall. Seeing what other hotels are available as the thought of sleeping on that mattress again scares the life out of me.

    4
    « Nice and central »

A very central hotel right across the street. We didn't get the best feeling when we got to the hotel and had to walk through the smoky casino to check in. But altough the older standard the room was nice and spacey with a big bed and big refrigerator. Pretty small bathroom but it came with a good shower. Our room was facing a loading area were they threw glass in a container, even at night. So if you are a light sleeper, bring plugs. The hotel had a small unhetaed pool. The best thing was the wifi (among the best I ever had in a hotel) and the free newspaper under the door every morning was a plus. I recommend this hotel

    2
    « Don't waste your time »

The only thing good about this hotel/casino was the greeters, the security guards are very rude and half the staff is very depressed I will NEVER return there -I would rather stay anywhere else. I visited several other hotel and casinos in the area and love them all

    5
« Great hotel, great location!!! »

Just go for it. Right across the street from Mirage, this place is a hidden gem. We've had a spacious and clean and nicely decorated room located away from the street. No resort fees and reasonable price. We will definitely stay here again when in Vegas...

« Great Hotel in a Great Location!! »

I have always stayed at the Four Corners Location in either the MGM, Excalibur or New York New York. This time I decided to try somewhere else because my 80 year old mom was coming and I didn't want her to have to make the long walk thru the casino to the room, or to the strip. It's crazy how long it can take you to get out of those big hotel/casinos and it can be exhausting if you forget something in your room and have to run back. Location is so convenient to restaurants and larger Casinos such as the Venetian and Caesars Palace. Outback Restaurant is right up stairs and there is a little food court on the main floor with a Subway, Cinnabon, etc. McDonald's and other places to eat are right close by. Walgreens is also just a few steps away. Harrah's is a short walk away and has a great outside bar and band stage. The Best Western was perfect. Our room (208) was about 15 seconds (no kidding) from the Strip and less than 2 minutes from the parking lot located behind the hotel. The room was nice!! It had a Kuerig Coffee Maker, refrigerator and extra counter space. It was cleaned daily and the beds were great. We paid $460 for 3 nights There was a pool but we did not use it. The WiFi was fast. Don't miss Freemont Street. It is worth the trip. I will absolutely stay at the Best Western Royal on my next visit!!

« Very tired, only stay for convenience... »

We stayed one night, over Memorial weekend, before flying home. This was one night too many - BUT - the cost of everything, even for one night over this particular weekend made this one of the only options. I would not stay here again and would not actively recommend to anyone. The staff were friendly enough, but that was it.

    2
    « Don't expect a comfortable stay »

Convenient location. Ok room, bed. Our sleep was interrupted by person banging on our door (and others) in middle of night. After being escorted out of hotel (according to front desk), he got back in and start banging on our door. We did not sleep rest of night due to insecurity. Also, upon arrival, made one arrangement for assistance with room access on a subsequent day. On that day, staff member refused to help, and eventually relented after being extremely rude to us. Although hotel is non-smoking, only access is through smoke-filled casino.

    3
    « Noise was a problem »

We were happy with our room - the comfort of the bed and pillows - room 104 - however the noise of a nighttime from guests passing and slamming doors was over the top - and there were no security or staff around to keep things quiet. The room sides onto a sidestreet - and again it is very noisy.

    5
    « Better than expected »

Avoid the resort tax! We visited as a family of 4 adults and this was perfect. So much cheaper than other hotels and in an excellent mid strip location. We are not the sort to sit around a pool or stay in our hotel so this really was perfect for us to explore everywhere. Rooms a very high standard; large, modern, quiet and clean. So many places to eat nearby including places inside the hotel. Staff were very friendly. Casino traditional but popular. Unless you have too much money to throw away and want a very busy, posh rooftop pool to spend your days around this is the place to say.

The room was nicely decorated and clean. Also, it was roomy and comfortable. It was centrally located and convenient to local transportation and restaurants. The Keurig Coffee Maker and coffee was very nice touch. The staff was very helpful and offered helpful suggestions.

    « Great Stay »

The entire staff was great, They all went out of their way to make sure our stay was excellent. recommended places to eat and go. The layout of the hotel was easy to get around the pool was great. They had a great deal for the slot machines, the staff in the casino were really nice.

« Nice hotel well located with an easy parking »

A very nice hotel located in the middle of the strip. The parking is right behind the hotel, with a possibiliy to park close to the door for 15 minutes just to unload the car. Hotel was quiet (which is good as the strip is really close) and clean. In the room we had all the basics for a quick breakfast (even a small fridge). No additionnal charge to be paid, erything was included in the initial price. Also quick check out was really appreciated (we just left the cards in the room).

« We Loved Vegas and this hotel »

We arrived at the Casino Royal around 5pm and were immediately shown to the Reception through what seamed the whole casino. The hotel got a porter to bring the large trolley for all the bags (4 Adults, 5 1/2 week trip) and up to our rooms we went. The lift close to the rooms was out of order so we had to walk a little further, but these things happen. After getting to our rooms and settling in I went and explored the casino. The reception staff were so helpful and pointed out some great places to eat. We only stayed 2 nights but they were peaceful and comfortable which is amazing considering the hotel is in the middle of the strip. The vehicle entrance was a bit tricky but the parking was so easy and free with hotel booking.

    5
    « Well worth considering »

Good position, short walk to rooms, quick check-in. No view but you can't have everything. Fridge, coffee maker a bonus. No resort fee, but the overall cost the same as many hotels with separate resort fee so not much to choose price-wise. Very nice room service lady who left me extra tea capsules.

    « well located hotel »

you'll find everything you want to see nearby,a nice place for a short visit of the town, the free park place is a plus, there are restaurants all around the place, ask for a room on tha parking place and you'll have a quiet night

    « Great »

It was very good! Surprisingly cheap in the middle of the action. Very nice room, good service Only thing is that when you have a room looking out on the parking place the noise from the waste dispenser in the middle of the night is very loud. You can't sleep with the window open. When it's closed it's okay

    4
    « Fantastic location »

Great little hotel in a fantastic position on the strip. Husband loved the $1 beers. Only negative was the location of check in which is difficult to find.( You have to drag your luggage through the busy casino) Staff were happy to point you in the right direction.

    4
    « Location--Location--Location »

This BW Plus is an excellent value for its location on The Strip in Las Vegas. Free parking was included, and we found that very helpful. The casino offered a $20 buy-in if we lost $20. One member of our party won a nice little jackpot on that $20! We count on the BW chain to be clean and efficient. I like the ease of online booking, and I have never had a problem with that service.

    4
« Good location; good price »

If you are not looking for anything fancy, this place is great; on the middle of the strip, clean, room of good size, free parking, at price hard to beat on that location. No breakfast included and no restaurant on spot, but Starbuck is near. One negative is that only one elevator was working during our stay, and it was at one end of the building, so the walk with the luggages was killing us.

This was my first trip to Vegas and this hotel was great. However it is not the glamorous hotel that people like to stay at when visiting Vegas, but it was more than satisfactory for me. They were the ONLY hotel I could find without any resort fees, which was great. There is Denny's about 40 feet down from the hotel for breakfast. There is also many other restaurants very close to this hotel for any meal. Inside there is an ice cream shop for those hot days. It is centrally located on the strip which is awesome and a Deuce Bus pickup right next door. Our room was small but very clean !! The pool was very nice and very private. There are key only entries into the hotel part of this casino so there arent people walking around in your hotel. I will stay here again !!!!!

« Great Location on Strip, close to everything. »

Stayed there while attending a Convention at the Sands Expo Center. The walk was shorter for us then some people staying at the Venetian or Palazzo itself. Rooms have been recently updated, they have a mini fridge and nice counter space separate from bathroom for food. It was quiet enough for me, although one side of building faces towards the service docks and recycling area for Harrah's next door (I could see why this would be an irritant to some). Check in was a little slow, but they were nice and friendly. Once your checked in you don't even have to step foot into smoke filled Casino at all, you can come around the back side of the Casino from the Entrance on Las Vegas Blvd or from a Service Access rode/ally behind the property. There is a Walgreens, Denny's, White Castle on property as well as a smaller food court in the back of the Casino. Panda Express, Chipotle and McDonalds are right next too the other direction.

« Convenient location with direct access to the strip »

Very well located no frills accomodation. Check-in was a breeze. Complimentary parking, wifi and no resort fees. The one bedroom suite was spacious and clean. The only issue may be the lift. There was only one working. Overall will recommend for its proximity to the strip and amenities nearby.

    « Excellent Location »

If you want to save on accommodations and still want to be amongst all the hustle and bustle, this hotel will more than fit your needs. We checked in on a Monday evening without hassle. We entered the hotel area within this casino and was amazed that once the sliding glass door closed it immediately blocked all the noise. The king size room included a refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, safe box, hair dryer, iron and board, desk, tv hutch with 3 dresser drawers, club chair with ottoman and night stands on both sides of the bed with easy access plug ins. Room had updated features, bed was medium firm and comfortable and included 4 down pillows. We did not get to enjoy the pool area but is seemed nice, included lounge chairs. Within the same hotel/casino building was Nathans, Subway, Ben and Jerry's, White Castle, Denny's and a Walgreens. To the south and within a few steps was Harrah's and to the north was the Venetian. We were amazed how close we were to everything. I suggest this place for those who want to be in the middle of it all, that are okay with a budget hotel and don't like paying big resort fees.

    « Good once you're checked in! »

Excellent rooms and service - just took too long to check in. It is located centrally on the strip and lots to do and see in either direction. A little far from municipal bus stop if you need to take the bus.

    « Location, Location, Location »

We booked this hotel as part of our road trip in the USA for an average £60 per night. Reading TA reviews, we were unsure what to expect, but on arrival we realised that the location sums this hotel up perfectly.......... Check-In, On arrival we parked the car around the back of the hotel. There are plenty of spaces to accommodate guests at this 4storey gaming hotel. Finding the actual check-in was a bit of a challenge for a first timer in Vegas as it is right in the middle of the Casino! Once checked in we were shown to the rooms by the friendly receptionist. (Tip, If arriving by car, leave your cases and get checked in then go back to the car and bring your luggage through the back door instead of dragging them through the casino (damn sight easier)). Room, We were allocated room 329! The room was found to be spotlessly clean, all set for a 5 day stay in the madness that is Sin City. The bathroom was a little on the small side, but had no effect on our stay. Staff, The only person we had contact with was the receptionist on checking in and she was friendly and helpful. Overall, This hotels location is its jewel in the crown. It has it's own casino and plenty to do and eat within walking distance. The hotel rooms are very quiet and a welcome relief from the madness. If you are looking for a reasonable priced stay in Vegas and no stupid resort tax and a prime location, Best Western Casino Royale will be hard to beat.

« Reasonable accommodation with great location and parking »

In Vegas you can spend a lot of money on accommodation. If you want a good bed, good shower, and great location then Best Western plus Casino Royale, though fancifully named, is some pretty good accommodation that normal people can afford. It's not noisy, and there was no breakfast, and though we stayed for a couple of days the room wasn't serviced, but it was a nice place to escape the insanity of Las Vegas. They also had free parking and the location, centrel to the most popular part of the Strip, was ideal.

« Great Place To Stay on the Vegas Strip »

I came to Vegas for a conference and didn't want to pay the high prices that the conference hotel was charging. The location was perfect, as was the hotel and the hotel staff. I'm definitely returning!

    « Perfect location! »

This hotel has everything you could want from a budget trip to Las Vegas. I flew in to attend a wedding and although I would have ideally wanted to stay in one of the major resort hotels, I was put off by the resort fees in excess of $100 for 3 nights, which didn't apply at this hotel. The location of this hotel was absolutely perfect for me. Right on the strip opposite the Mirage and next to the Venetian. My friends were staying at the Bellagio which was about a 10 minute walk away so no need for cab rides. There are so many food outlets within and next door including McDonalds, Subway and Denny's. There's also a Walgreens nearby too. Don't expect any nice scenic views here. All you'll likely get is a view of the car park outside. Also my air conditioning unit seemed to have a mind of its own. I could turn it on and set the temperate but it liked to start and stop randomly, and if it was on, it was on loud! It kept things cool though. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, what more do you need? Overall if you just want a nice place to sleep and more money to spend on enjoying the sights and surrounds of Vegas, this is your hotel. I'd definitely consider staying here again for a similar trip.

« Wonderful Las vegas strip hotel »

Excellent location and very friendly staff. A friendly voice even wakes you up with a wake up call. Excellent value for the price. Quiet clean room with Kerig coffee maker. Very close to the action of the strip and close to major hotels such as Mirage across the street and the Caesar's hotel within 1 to 2 blocks. I attended a meeting at Caesar's, but stayed at this hotel for 1/3 the price. Very economic restaurants right on site. I will definitely stay at this hotel when I come to Las Vegas again. Thank you Best Western Plus Las Vegas staff!!

    « Rooms & Service Great »

Ignore the corridors cos the rooms are great. It's a low rise building. Big comfy bed and good shower. Great, helpful front desk service. Super fast wifi. It's on the strip. Good car parking. If you want to pay more, you can but we can't see the point.

    « A good place to sleep »

Right in the middle of the Strip between the Venetian and Harrahs.Very nice, clean room. It's not a resort but there are no resort fees and free parking.Quiet room. One elevator was broken all weekend.Fairly close to monorail.A place to come back too after a night on the town.

« Best Hotel for the price »

You won't find a better deal than the Casino Royal, fantastic service(ask for Reggie) clean rooms comfortable beds and in room coffee. The location is the best as you are right in the middle of the strip, just steps away from shopping and the bus

    « Fantastic Hotel »

Very clean!! It is located right in the middle of The Strip. Very Nice bathroom and room. You get your own thermostat right on the wall in the room. We stayed here for 5 nights and would stay here again. It has it's own Casino and little Food Court in the back of the Casino.

    « Four Night Stay »

Excellent Front Desk Staff. All were very helpful. Tina was exceptional. We had a midnight arrival and check-in was speedy, including signing me up for Best Western Rewards, and she even helped us to to the elevator. The two doubles beds room was quite large. With room for our four bags without obstructing our movement. Double Beds and Pillows were excellent. So comfortable. Maid Service was excellent. Room was super clean.

    5
« Best Western Casino Royale »

This was the BEST value on the strip! It was clean and cozy (not 1,000's of rooms) and centrally located on the strip. The best part was there were NO resort fees which the major hotels charge per day which average $30/night in addition to your room rate. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends, especially those on a budget. Myself personally , I would rather spend money on my Vegas experience instead of on a Hotel room. So you make the choice and if you are astute it will be Casino Royale Best Western. Staff were amazing.

    « Just right »

Stayed for a few days in April 2016, hotel is perfectly situated, next to all the upmarket hotels, reasonable price yet no loss of quality. All the free attractions on offer at various hotels are just minutes away without the upmarket prices. Stay here again? Yes definitely!

    « Las vegas holiday »

Two good points are the location. It is beside the Venetian and Harrahs opposite the Mirage and Caesars palace and Treasure island. Staff are good and rooms are good. There are no condiments nor china cups, kettle or cutlery. There was a septic smell in the middle of the night and the toilet was hard to stop running . Vegas smells of smoke all the time. Old vegas is the best to see

    4
« Great location on the strip »

Location was great, right in the middle of the strip opposite Caesars Palace. There is a Walgreen's right next door to get your goodies if needed. The rooms have a fridge and coffee machine. We dined at the Outback Steakhouse on the first floor, steaks were the best we had in our 21 days in California and Vegas. This is a smaller Casino which was not so daunting to find your way.

    4
« Not one with all the glitz! Great location and affordable »

Great location and affordable. Just a regular room with the amenities you need. 4 of us stayed in the room for a week. A little crapped. The elevator close to our room didn't work and didn't look like they were planning on fixing it. The fan in the bathroom didn't come on so we used the hair dryer. The room was clean, the desk staff were great and we enjoyed our stay very much. We used the parking garage for a few days and always had a place to park for free.

« A Quiet nights sleep in Vegas - Yep! »

Excellent location on the strip. You couldn't fault that. Rooms very comfy (4 floors only) but really quiet with no external noise at all. A bit confusing to find the hotel check in as its buried amongst the slot machines as is the entrance to the accommodation (room key operated). Taxi drops you off at the rear (no real stopping on the strip) and you walk through to the check in. The check in, the check out and the helpfulness of the reception was really excellent. Perhaps the best we have ever had. It isn't the poshest of Vegas hotels and certainly not the grandest but the price was good, location was great and the rooms more than adequate. And only a max of 4 floors to negotiate via the antiquated lift. There is a room with computers and printer for boarding passes which is an added bonus. Downside no kettle, only the ever present coffee machine which, for a Brit, isn't the same.

« Best little secret on the Vegas Strip! »

My husband and I were in Vegas at the last minute for super bowl weekend! That is a fun time to be in Vegas. Yes, I won, which made it more fun. But the Best Western Plus Casino Royale was a winning find of its own. Odd taxi pick up and drop off at the back of the hotel, so you walk thru the back of the casino to go to the small hotel check in which I admit had me thinking what did I book? But once you get past that, it's good. The hotel rooms are surprisingly quiet. Had a mini-fridge and coffee maker. The room is adequate, good bed and hot shower, and frankly we don't spend that much time in our room when in Vegas. The casino has a free $20 offer to gamble and they have low table buy-In's for black jack and poker, unlike other places. They even have a single deck table for blackjack! There are fast food choices all around and just two minutes to lots of great sit town choices too. There is a Walgreens next door that sells food, alcohol, and all the normal stuff. A half price Vegas ticket booth is just outside the door. The price was low, great location, good service, and has a nice little Casino and steakhouse, we will be back!

    « Nice »

just a nice room, no frills, convenient to other fancier joints. no expensive restaurants.. compare Cinnabon & Subway to $36 buffets and celebrity chef eateries. convenient free self parking and free internet, close to central Strip attractions, casinos and shops.

« Over All a Very Nice Stay »

This is a budget hotel so keep this in mind if you stay here. GREAT location hands down! Rooms are all refurbished with modern amenities. However, the elevator is a death trap. It's older and has no sensor to detect someone is in the way of the doors. They will close regardless; an accident waiting to happen. A child would get crushed to death! It took two men to hold them open for me as I was getting in to a full elevator. It's also very small. The Pool in back is basic, but serves the purpose. After all this isn't a resort so therefore no resort fees!!! Has a fitness center. And all doors into the hotel are key access. Denny's is next door, Outback is upstairs, and the casino is right there. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

    5
« Great place to stay on the strip »

Best Western is located right on the strip (next to Harrah's) The room was basic with a big bed, safe, TV and nice bathroom which was all that I wanted. Compared to the other hotels Best Western is a lot cheaper but I still had a fantastic stay and will be returning again!

    4
    « Cheap and cheerful »

Right on the Strip opposite the Mirage with lots of eating, shopping and entertainment close by. Decor is older style but the room is a good size, bed comfortable and top cleanliness. Ideal for business as it's affordable and very quiet. Small but nice pool open long hours which is rare in Vegas. Would definitely stay there again. Say "Hi" to Reggie on the desk for me he's great.

    5
« Gem on the strip »

This hotel is a little gem on the strip. It's located in between Harrah's and the Venetian, and across from the Mirage. And this hotel is a real bargain; much cheaper than the hotels around it and has no resort fees. My room was well equipped with 2 double beds, a mini fridge, a coffee machine and free wi-fi. The room was comfortable and clean. There are various food places and stores close by - McDonald's at the southern end; Denny's and Walgreens at the northern end. I have read some reviews where people complain about accessing the rooms behind the clothing stands. I'm not sure why this is seen as a bad thing; the access is only via your room key, and it also means that you don't have to walk for miles to get to your room. I never felt unsafe in this hotel or casino. This is not the flashest hotel around, but it is probably the best value; and considering how little time you're actually in your room whilst in Vegas, why would you bother paying loads more? I'll be back again and recommend this to others.

    « Great location but.... »

Having had a very good experience in Casino Royale in August 2015 I didn't hesitate to book again but this time I had my dad in tow. Upon entering the lift we were welcomed by that same funky smell that was there months ago (has no one figured out where it comes from yet?). I didn't let that put me off though as I knew from my experience last time that the smell didn't waft into the rooms or so I thought! Unfortunately that same funky smell, whilst milder, could definitely be smelt in the room. Maybe it was due to which side of the hotel we were on; this time we were on the Harrah's side of the hotel. That being said the hotel is still in a great location and for the price paid I'm not going to complain but I think on my next trip to Vegas I'll be spending a bit more and getting somewhere a step up.

    5
« Very nice place to stay! »

First time on the strip and the hotel is in a great location! The staff were great and room very nice. The bathroom was small but everything else was great! No complaints about much of anything. Played a bunch of slots around Las Vegas and the only place we won was here so that was nice too!

    « What a great find »

Great little hotel, right in the middle of the strip, with no resort fees. A real bargain in the midst of everything. Our room had 2 double beds a fridge and coffee machine. If you are looking for a flashy costly hotel this is not for you. If you are looking for a clean room to sleep in at a good price I recommend this hotel. Breakfast can be taken at any other hotel, we choose Denny's most days which is a joining and good value, always a queue for breakfast but they get you seated quickly. Walgreens also nest door, wind and water really cheap in here as well as sweets to take home, nearly half price compared to the airport. The casino is also ok at the Royale as if you register for their card if you loose 20 dollars they give you 20 dollars to play with, very good gesture, had a few hours of fun on the 1 cent machines. Drinks also come free and if you keep tipping 1 dollar they keep coming. Recommend this hotel and would definately revisit if in Vegas again,

« Perfect Spot in So Many Ways »

You can't beat the location and price with this place. It sits between The Venetian and Harrah's directly on the strip, which is our reason for choosing this location to begin with. No, it is not a luxurious hotel, so if you are looking for that this is not the place for you. However, if you want a nice room on the strip near the heart of all the cool spots, then this is your hotel. The first floor has a pretty good-size casino with a White Castle, Subway, Nathan's Hot Dogs ( selling foot-long hot-dogs for $2.50) & Cinnabon. The bar in the casino sells $1 beer. I guarantee this will be the cheapest beer you will find on the strip. Above this hotel there is a Denny's, Outback, and a Walgreens next door. Plus a tix4tonight Booth where you get all of your shows for half off. What more convenience can you find than that? The only downside is that the elevator was not working so we had to use the only service elevator they have. Each room is equipped with a refrigerator and Keurig machine. Of course like any other hotel on the strip there are no microwaves available (unless you book a suite). But once again you are here on vacation so most likely you will not need a microwave. My family and I definitely plan on staying here again in the future.

« Best bet against Greed »

Nestled next to the Venetian on the Las Vegas strip, Casino Royale does not tack on the ridiculous "resort fee" common to the more famous hotels. The room we had (410) was clean, quiet and the service was very good. Our TV didn't work, we called and a repair person was at our door in five minutes to fix it. The casino downstairs was more laid back than the YUGE money pits we found elsewhere. I docked a star because of the annoying loudspeaker on the building that added to the incessant noise on the strip. Inexpensive eating is on the premises so one can save the money for a big splurge (i.e. a buffet at the Aria or Caesar's Palace).

« Great location and value for money »

Booked this hotel for three nights at the end of a three week holiday to California. Well you can't visit California and not see Vegas. Hotel is located on the strip and transfer from the airport was smooth and quick and we were the first to be dropped off which was even better. Check in was efficient and staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean and provided everything we could need. As others say not great views but we weren't planning to spend much time in it anyway. House keeping was very good, room was cleaned to a high standard every day and fresh towels. Ate at the in house Outback steak house and food and service was excellent. Not gamblers so can't comment on casino elements of hotel but we did try our luck on a few machines. Location on the strip was ideal for us as we had booked to see Rod Stewart at Caesars Palace which was located just across the strip. Check out was smooth and we stored our luggage in the reception facilities until we transferred to airport. Our pre booked and paid shuttle didn't arrive to pick us up and the reception staff were excellent in their response to our problem. Telephoned the company, who denied having the booking! and then arranged a taxi for us as we couldn't delay our transfer any longer. If your looking for a good place to stay, right on the strip, at a fair price, this hotel fits the bill.

« Clean, Quiet and right on the strip! »

Stayed for 5 days in April. Found the hotel to be extremely quiet. The hotel is a little dated and the rooms are small. You do get a Kurig coffee maker in the room though and a fridge. Nice location as it is right on the strip. There is a Walgreens right next door and a Mcdonalds on the other side! An outback steak house in also located in the hotel as well as a Ben and Jerrys. The only drawback is the way you have to drive into the hotel from the strip. Depending on what time of day it is, you will have to battle crowds of people walking on the sidewalk and pray that somebody stops to let you go through to the back of the building where the parking is. We found that if we left in the morning and came back before 4 or 5 it wasn't as crazy to get back in, but if you come later at night you will have a bit of trouble. Most times we didn't even use our car since everything was within walking distance for us. The casino is great but smoky. You have to pass through the casino to get to the subway, White Castle or cinnabon in the hotel. You also have to pass through the casino to hit the strip. Right across the road is the Mirage and you can watch the volcano go off at night. Beside walgreens is Madame Tussauds and the Venetian hotel. Location of the hotel is great! Loved that the hotel had a casino special. If you register at the hotel desk for the casino club, you get a free 20 dollars after you have spent your own first 20 dollars. This was great since we only spent 20 bucks of our own money but gambled 40 away. You get a card that keeps track of your loss and after it tracks that you have spent 20 dollars it credits you 20 dollars more. You don't feel so guilty losing on the slots :) All in all we would stay here again.

    5
« Sacrifice atmosphere for odds/good dealers at this casino »

There's no way around it: there's no atmosphere here. The casino is small too. That said, if you're looking for cheap tables, double deck blackjack and friendly dealers, this is your spot. The pit boss both nights I was here was very nice as well. I think they understand this is a "cheap" spot, but there's potential to make away with a few hundred here any given night on the tables.

    4
    « A casino IN the hotel? »

Well, only in Vegas, of course! The hotel is inside a casino!! At the back of the casino is a Nathan's Hot Dogs, a Cinnabon, a Subway and a pizza place. The pizza was awesome!! At the front was a Ben and Jerry's ice cream shop. Food and drink right there; didn't have to go far!! The hotel is on the strip, across from Tresure Island. There are SO many different shops and stores within walking distance, and getting a cab was incredibly awesome. The desk clerk calls to order it; by the time you get to the taxi stand, he's there waiting! This is a town that caters to tourists, and does it extremely well. We'll definitely be back, and will stay at the Casino Royale Best Western!

    4
    « over all »

my trip was great your staff was great your rooms where clean your elevators sucked cause they where broke your casino music sucked an I heard that from a lot of people in the casino but overall it was a very good time I would recommend staying we are planning another trip to Las Vegas next year an we will be coming back to Casino Royale an the Best Western

« Excellent location - in need of elevator replacement and casino clean up »

Great location in the middle of the strip with easy access to Caesar's Palace and easy walking to the Bellagio fountains. Check in was quick and efficient with good parking facilities in a multi storey at the back of the hotel (which is free). Hotel is small with helpful polite staff - and no resort fees. Casino has the cheapest beer on the strip - bottles of Michelob for $1 - so it was always busy at nights and weekends. Carpets in the Casino are in need of cleaning and the whole area looks a little shabby but but you cannot beat the price. We stayed in a suite on the 4th floor which was really clean. Nice suite with lovely spacious rooms - Super king bed was really comfortable and ensuite bathroom had whirlpool bath/ separate walk in shower with glass door and marble floors. Towels plentiful, of various sizes, and were white and fluffy with good absorbency. Toiletries plentiful and of nice quality. Lounge area has sofa bed which our son used - easy action to put up and put down. Mattress very thin so could do with a topper. Lounge has all facilities including a large screen tv and wet bar - access to ice machine and large fridge in room. Only issue with this place was the poor elevators - only 2 for the hotel and 1 was out of service all the time we stayed. Remaining elevator was also broken on 2 days.

    4
    « Convenient »

Nice place to stay on the strip, in the middle of everything. No need to walk through a large casino to get to your room. It is not the glamorous resort style, and there is no resort fees :) It also has a mini fridge in room .

    3
    « OK Strip Hotel »

Not even a map of Las Vegas, room not cleaned at 4:00 PM second day, key system poor, may need a rebuild getting old. Staff pleasant and helpful. Check in area needs a redesign job to move people a little better.

« hotel on the strip »

good location but small comfortable hotel. clean and housekeeping was clean. Lift is very small so to go up or down with baggage is a little hassle. otherwise good place to stay with access to shops and food outlets nearby

« Clean and Friendly, although a bit noisey »

Pretty good value for money. The best two things about the hotel were the cleanliness of the room and the location. The was quite a bit of late night, after 1am noise with drunken people arguing in the hallway. Car park is useful but make sure you drive just past the hotel and then into the small slipway that leads to it. Blink and you will miss it. Staff were kind and friendly, but the checkout process could have been much quicker as both checkin and checkout are at the same counter, which was frustrating. We would use the hotel again unless there was a better or similar offer on the strip.

    « Bucket List Experience: Check ++ »

From beginning to end, Thomas was extremely helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. Upon check in, Allen then took over. We got into Vegas earlier than expected, and he worked to get us into a room as soon as possible. He even checked up on us to make that sure we were comfortable. The hotel was nice and extremely convenient to the area attractions. The bed was awesome. Hadn't slept that well in a long time. Casino Royale is located between the Venetian and Harrah's. Our view was great, especially at night. Thank you for such a memorable experience.

    « Second stay....great again »

This was the second time I've stayed at this hotel and it definitely lived up to my expectations again. The front desk was great, although, I think they could have another clerk working during peak check-in times. If you've ever stayed in a large casino hotel resort, you know the hotel elevators are hundreds of feet from the front door...plus snaking through the maze of the casino floor. The hotel rooms here are literally steps away from the front door with a secure entry to the hotel area and surprisingly quiet. Yes, this hotel doesn't have all the amenities you may get from a giant casino resort, but it more than makes up for it being a quiet, safe, easily accessible strip hotel with free WiFi. I recommend this hotel for all types of vacationers who want the strip experience without the high casino resort costs or stupid resort fees.

    4
    « Economical »

Stayed 5 days and can't beat location in the middle of the strip between Harrahs and the Venetian. The Deuce is a few minutes walk away and the SDX a bit further. Others have talked about Denny's, Walgreens etc. The rooms are small but quite adequate. They were clean and the fridge was good and not filled up with expensive mini bar so you can fill up yourself from Walgreens next door. If you are a light sleeper ask for a room away from the service areas. There is a fair bit of noise from guests coming in late at night as the soundproofing could be improved. A small business centre with 3 workstations and a printer so you can print your boarding passes. Free wi fi was a good speed. Not many shuttles stop here so the trick is to get dropped off At Harrah's next door. If you are taking a taxi, it would b cheaper to be dropped off here.

    4
« Good value for the location »

Price was very reasonable considering the location - you are right in the middle of the strip so you can walk up and down to other hotels and shops very easily. Great food and drink options were just outside - my favourite was the ben and jerrys right outside the exit hehe! The room was clean and the walls seemed sound proofed as we couldnt hear the hustle and bustle of the casinos and parties on the strip. The only issues with the room were in the bathroom, the plug kept dropping in the bathtub/shower so it wouldnt drain fast enough and you would end up standing in a pool of water. Also it sounded like there was a fan but it didnt seem to work well as it would get a bit stuffy inside. I would stay here again!

    4
« Great if you know what you're getting »

This is the cheapest place to gamble on the strip. The rooms are just like any other Best Western. I was pleased with how easy it was to get between your room and the casino, plus it's right in the middle of the action on the strip. There are fast food options in the casino and they do serve free drinks at a decent speed to gamblers. The $20 free slots is actually just $20 free credit to the slots so they take your money no matter what.

« Reasonable value in a very good location »

The location is excellent. The rooms are OK. Clean with TV, small friedge and coffee/tea machine. Coffee and Tea capsules are provided every day. I would have liked wider double beds. They're not big enough compared to other double beds offered in other hotels I usually stay in.

    « Great location »

Not a glamorous casino, but a pretty good hotel for the price. Great location on the strip, comfy beds, modern rooms. We had a blocked drain which was fixed the following day. Staff at concierge were pretty grumpy. The most disappointing thing was that we realised about an hour after we checked out that we left an item in our room, we didnt have a phone with roaming but there was no email address on the website so we bought a phone specifically to call, stayed on hold for like 10 minutes and they finally told us our rooms hadnt been cleaned yet so they would get our stuff when it is, i asked them to email me, which never happened. The next day i called again and repeated the story and asked them to email me again. Once again, i never heard back. I assume our stuff has been disposed of as it's been 2 weeks now. The staff really lack customer service skills and the hotel is really impersonal (espescially compared to other hotels we stayed in during our 1 month holiday in usa). It's strong points are price, comfort and location, but if you want to feel like your staying in a good hotel it needs quality customer service.

« Average hotel with great location »

My friend and I stayed in the Best Western Plus Casino Royale in order to avoid spending the amount of money that some of the fancier hotels cost. The room was clean the service was good and the hotel's proximity to shopping and fancier casinos/hotels was excellent. I was concerned about finding a hotel that was close to where my friends were staying without spending the same amount of money that they did. In the future I would not be adverse to booking a room at this hotel again, however, it was expensive enough that I would probably look a little harder to find a discount at one of the higher tiered hotels first.

« Clean, economical place to stay on the strip »

Located between the Venetian and Harrah's resorts this hotel was quiet, easy to get to, no resort fee issues. Internet was fast and reliable. Rooms are clean, well equipped and in generally working order. Rooms towards the rear of the hotel will suffer early morning delivery truck noise. Elevator is slow and not ideal for ADA guests. Check-in/out can be slow at peak times

    « Location, Location, Location »

This is an old school casino nestled between two giant corporations: the Venetian/Palazzo complex directly to the north and Harrah's to the south. The Best Western's Casino Royale has a lot to offer the frugal visitor, particularly if you don't to spend much time in your room that is relatively small; nevertheless it has a prime location, free parking, clean rooms, inexpensive food nearby ? e.g. Denny's. Its location in the mid portion of The Strip provides easy access for a variety of activities along with convenient public transportation. Unlike a growing number of Strip casinos, there are no hidden ?resort fees'. The gambling ambience isn't the greatest - it is a bit dingy with their in-house gambling policy (like many other casinos) of reducing blackjack payouts from 3 ? 2 to 6 ? 5. Nor could I find a video poker machine with minimal house advantage, such as 9/6 payouts for Jacks or Better. Nevertheless Sam's Town along with other casinos that have a smaller house advantage are a convenient, free bus trip away. I recommend staying there and wandering nearby or further for your gambling, shopping and culinary needs.

« THE BEST DEAL ON THE STRIP! »

Snuggled right in between Harrah's and the Venetian, and across the street from the Mirage, the Best Western Plus Casino Royale has a location that just cannot be beat, at a price that also cannot be beat! I stayed there for a four-day trip in March on a fairly tight budget, and was thrilled that I could stay in such a nice hotel for half of what the people in surrounding hotels were paying. Everyone from the front desk person to the casino staff were polite, friendly, and super helpful, the rooms were neat, clean, and quiet, and the shower was always hot. The addition of a sink and mini-fridge in the room was very handy. Best of all was that I could walk out the door to my room, down a fairly short hallway, out a door and I was on the Strip in the center of everything! The Casino Royale is not a resort hotel, nor does it pretend to be. On the up side, that doesn't mean you got socked with rip-off resort fees for things that every other hotel (including the Casino Royale) offers for free, like wi-fi and use of the pool. On the down side (for some), that also means no valet service or taxi stands or the like. Also, because of the orientation of the hotel, the rooms will either look out on the walls of the adjacent buildings, the parking garage, or the pool, so those who demand spectacular scenery out of their windows may be disappointed. There is an Outback Steakhouse, a Denny's, and a Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream on site, plus a food court with a Subway, a hot dog place, a White Castle, and a Cinnabon. Next door is a McDonald's, a Panda Express, and a Chipotle. There is also a smallish casino on site, however, I never had a problem with cigarette smoke filtering up to my room. If you are looking for a fancy-pants hotel that will cater to your every need and whim, the Casino Royale is probably not for you. If however, you are looking for safe, clean, comfortable, reasonably priced accommodations in the center of all the action, the Best Western Plus Casino Royale cannot be beat! I would most definitely stay there again!

    « great location »

The hotel is in the heart of Strip. They do not charge for packeges being delivered to them. As it is a smal hotel compared to the famous ones, we had problems with Limo services to pick us up for tours. The main entrance is in the back of the building. Good cost benefit

« Best casino on the strip! »

Although sadly they don't have $1 margaritas anymore it was a pain for the bartenders that never got tipped properly. But if you want to gamble without the high table minimums this is my favorite place. Several Wheel or Fortune slots also!

Spent 12 nights here in Feb2016 its fab. The casino and bar area have been remodelled now very bright and spacious with great aircon. The pool was open abd was very clean with comgortable sunbeds and free towels. The room was large with a very vomfy bed, fridge and coffee maker. Location is fantastic. We have booked again for 0ctober2016

    « VERY NICE HOTEL »

We enjoyed our stay here very much. We had a room with two double beds on the third floor facing the parking lot and it was very quiet. The room was adequate in size and had a refrigerator, but no microwave.Parking is free. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially James, the Maintenance Supervisor, who, among other things, tried to help us with the thermostat. That was the only issue we had with the hotel. The heat cannot be adjusted in each individual room, and the last night we were there we were too warm because the heat could not be adjusted. We had to open a window for awhile but even that did not solve the problem. Even so, we would stay here again.

« Nice Hotel for the price »

The hotel is very nice for the price. Clean and the staff is great. The pool area was clean and very nice. Location is great on the strip. The only issue are the rooms up front you can hear music & noise in your room.

    « Saved our Vacation »

We arrived here late in the morning after leaving a large neighboring hotel (Flamingo) who jacked us on our non-smoking reservation. We arrived here and the staff were great. This is a hidden hotel right on the strip next to everything. Right next door is a McDonalds, Chipotle, and Panda Express. Numerous top dollar dining also available nearby. There is also a CVS right next door for the last minute needs. The rooms were clean as were the hotel hallways. This hotel is quiet and fair priced. The hotel hallways are secured and only access is available if you have a key. There are no view rooms; but who needs a view when you are in Vegas. Parking is close and easy. Added plus is no resort fee! Will stay here again for sure.

« Not luxurious, but convenient and reasonable »

Stayed here only one night, but found it quite convenient and reasonably priced. Yes it is dated and not as luxurious as the mega-hotels on the strip, but our room was clean and the parking situation was probably the best on the Strip. BW has their own parking garage (free & security patrolled) right behind the hotel. You can easily carry your luggage to your room or they offer bellman assistance to cart your luggage to the room. We were given a room on the first floor which faced a service alley - good thing we are early risers as the maintenance trucks began arriving at 4:30 am. Dining options at this hotel are just okay, nothing special. We were tired from the road and didn't feel like hassling fine dining at one of the mega-casinos, so opted to stay here and eat at Outback. Food was just as good, but somewhat higher priced than your local Outback. The casino at BW Casino Royale is definitely "old Vegas", not glitzy or sparkling clean. And drinks are expensive, $7 for a beer is ridiculous.

    4
« Fairly priced and pretty nice »

By Vegas standards, this place is dated, yet, still nice for the money. If you can get a room this price at say, the Mirage, do it, for sure. When I booked, this place was 1/2 everywhere else. Clean, large comfortable rooms with granite counter tops, free internet, friendly service, safes and I think, free parking. I liked it here, but it's a BW, not a fancy hotel.

« Great location on the strip »

We stayed here for a week at the end of February and found it to be in an excellent location for exploring the strip. The casino is small and I found rather cramped and depressing, it wasn't the best first impression of the hotel when entering from the carpark. Our room was on the second floor and overlooked the pool. We had no noise from the strip here, though there were some loud groups staying at the same time as us I expect you would find that at any hotel in Vegas. The room was spacious and clean, and free in room WiFi. The bathroom was a little tired however also very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

    4

    « Very Surprise »

Newly Remodel Rooms, Clean and very helpful staff. Front Desk gave us a quiet room away from the strip in Las Vegas knowing that we had to get up early each morning. Casino Royale is located on the monorail side which made it easy for us to travel the "Strip" in the evening. Thank You,

« Quick Weekend LV Visit »

Great location of this hotel located on the Vegas strip, with multiple casinos close by. Quiet comfortable rooms with plenty of parking. Wifi was adequate along with a refrigerator located in the room. Plenty of food locations within walking distance.

« Best Western Casino Royale Las Vegas »

The hotel has small rooms but they are very clean. The staff was friendly. Free newspaper every morning was nice. Coffee and 'Fridge in room was useful. Located in the middle of the Vegas strip so easy to get anywhere.

    3
    « Smelly Rooms »

The location of the Casino Royale is good and the size isn't intimidating, unfortunately, the rooms on the first floor have such a bad odor (smells like sewage backup) that I had to go to Walgreens and buy room freshener spray and solid for the three nights I was there. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable - just the smell was bad. Could be this is only on the first floor. Good price, friendly staff - stay but make sure you ask for a room on a different floor.

    « Great spot! »

We stumbled on this hotel while searching for a place to stay in Las Vegas. It is centre strip exactly where I wanted to stay and very affordable. It is very clean and only has four floors so you aren't 15 mins getting to your room after walking all day. You litterly walk off the sidewalk and the stairs to the second floor are right the through a key access door. We watched the volcano erupt across the road at the Mirage from the sidewalk out side our entrance. Denny's and macdonalds are right next door and there is subway, and a pizza takeout place in the casino. We didn't have any issues with the heat control during our stay as some of the other review did. I will be staying there when I return to Vegas.

    5
« Good value for money! »

I was very pleased with this hotel stay experience. The location is great - its on the strip (las vegas blvd.) and right next to some very popular attractions! There were no resort fees unlike some nearby hotels which is a big plus. I would highly recommend this hotel. Book early (like 2-3 months in advance) and you can get some very good deals!

    « Great Vacation »

It was our first trip to Las Vegas and we were unsure of what to expect. If you are going to Las Vegas for a quiet vacation you are in the wrong place. Las Vegas is the noisiest city i have ever been in although that is what should be expected for a city built for fun. Be sure to experience the High Roller attraction and shows available. The Hoover Dam tour is so- so but the South Rim Grand Canyon tour is a must do.

« A GEM IN THE MIDDLE OF EVERYTHING! »

The hotel is located directly in the middle of the action! In front of the Venetian, and across the street from The Mirage Hotel, and free parking, no resort fees! Very comfortable beds, new carpeting in the Hallways, and the rooms are being upgraded. Staff was wonderful!! Next door to Denny's and Walgreens, and public transport stops a short distance down the street if you want to use it. A real "nugget"!

« Love this Chain of Hotels »

This is a very nice hotel to stay at when you are out of town. It's very clean and smells fresh, maybe because it's a no smoking hotel. However the staff is very friendly, and kind and always available when you need them. I have stayed at other best westerns, but never this one I'm always staying at one of the big name one's in Vegas. But now I will definitely be returning since I am a rewards member. And it's better than two of the other rooms I stayed at, I won't name the Hotel, But best western was way better than them. I will say this the walls seemed paper thin, meaning you can hear whats going on in other rooms, maybe they were just too loud. But who is in their room anyway. NOT IN VEGAS!!! I love the Hotel we will be returning next year sametime same place.

    5
    « Cheap »

We loved the place they have the free gaming deal! Great shops when we were here before we lived at Denny's here! Ate at White Castle this time! Had a nice lunch no one was in there, I guess everyone was in the casino!!Lol

    4
    « Great location »

Centre of nightlife activity, bus system outside front door, wherever you go you are surrounded by poker machines takes a bit of adjusting. Make sure you wear a watch as the use of clocks is a 'non-event', seems they don't want you to know what the time is so you stay out longer.

    4
    « Value »

You cannot get better value on the strip. No resort fees and right next to EVERYTHING! Would definitely recommend this hotel if making a trip to Vegas. Denny's for breakfast is clutch for those heavy nights of drinking, and Walgreens right down stairs if you want to have a few affordable drinks before you go out.

    5
« Great place to play n stay! »

Good food, great prices, fun times! The location is excellent. I thoroughly enjoyed being there. I have walked by many times and never stopped. I was impressed by their pool and renovations! Nice looking rooms! Friendly staff! Rico the cashier was excellent! The casino staff was the best ever!!!

« Fun place to stay right in the middle of the action »

Rooms were clean service was very good and you always have a lot of cheaper less expensive options for food. You are in the middle of the strip across the street from the Mirage. This place is small and quaint and it reminds me of the old Vegas. Love the machines, and there is a White Castle right next door which is adjacent to the casino. I would definitely stay here again and recommend friends!

« Good budgeted accomodation and location?? »

Good budget accomodation, rooms are spacious enough but dont have view all facing the parking lot.But location is goid centre of the vegas strip, and infront if mirage famous fountains.Rooms were cleaned and maintained but no room service available, but do have 24 hrs food courts just next door

  • 4
    « Surprising »

Saw the pricing then saw the location. Rooms were larger than expected, clean and up to date. Bathrooms were rather small but functional. Stayed on the bottom floor away from the strip and their casino (doing some renovations). If you are looking for a clean room this is the place. CANNOT beat the price. Shop and you can find below $60 per night. Friendly staff and front desk personnel.

    5
« Freindly, Convenient and good price »

Got free parking in a parking house in a small hotel at the strip. The place was very convenient, because all the big attractions were to the left and right of the hotel. Convenient was the tour pick up at Harrah's next door.

Great location in the middle of everything, Easy access to other casino's. In walking distance to eateries and shopping. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and courteous staff. Our room was facing the pool and was very quiet.

    2
    « Bare Bones Hotel »

Beware - this is not a typical Best Western: no breakfast, no airport shuttle, no microwave. The lobby is overwhelmingly crowded and full of smoke and noise. Once you get to the room, it's mostly okay.

    3
« Great location, no service »

I arrived exhausted from travelling for 20 hours. My room wasn't ready so i was told to go away and come back in 1/2 hour. I came back in 15 min as i could hardly walk, sat down in a char 2 m from the check-in. After 30 min i noticed that other people were being checked in so i lined up. I nearly passed out but really required a room! When i checked in the woman said she wondered what i was doing there. Later on i found their help n tourism matters non-existent .

    4
« Good bang for the buck »

Rooms were clean and basic. The staff were nice. This is a no frills property but i was OK with that since I was out and about. This is in the middle of the strip and there are plenty of options to eat and drink nearby. The bus stop is next door at Harrahs which was a plus for us.

    4
« Good location for the price »

This is a very conveniently located hotel right on the strip. It is not a glamorous hotel like some of the bigger ones, but if you are just going to sleep there its fine. Because the parking lot and parking garage are in the back of the property, we used the Mirage's (which is across the street) Uber and Lyft stations to catch rides up and down the strip. The beds were comfortable, the hallway was a little loud and the water was hot. I wasn't looking for much more than that. The casino is dated but it is also being updated at the time of this review. I had a great vacation and did just about everything you could do in Vegas and this hotel met my requirements.

    3
    « Central position »

This hotel is right in the middle of the strip, so convenient to everything. It is now quite old and dated, but clean and comfortable. We had a junior suite, so lounge area, separate bedroom and large bathroom. Our large bed was very comfortable, I believe the sofa would make into pull out bed if required. It was a pleasure to have a bit more space after some of the rooms we had been in. Having to pass through all the pokies to get in and out was a bit of a shock at first, but hey, this was Las Vegas! Hotel is right on the roadside, so no space for a taxi to pull in, although they could drive around to the back. We were close enough to walk to major casinos, which are spectacular, we also caught the free tram between casinos. We did not have a great deal of contact with staff, but they seem competent enough.

    3
    « Small but adequate »

I have been to Vegas a number of times and had only stayed at the larger hotels on the strip. When my friend booked us at the Casino Royale I was apprehensive. To my surprise the rooms have been updated and included a refrigerator and coffee. Usually you have to go into the casino or coffee shops to get coffee. The staff was friendly and quickly took care of a plumbing problem. I especially like the location and you can access Walgreen's , Dennie's, Outback Steak, Subwy and pizza without ever going outside. The casino is small, but had some fun games. It is located right in the midst of all the major casinos. If you are looking at a budget friendly place and don't care about "glitz" you would like this.

    4
« Good value on "The Strip" »

A small convenient hotel tucked away between Casino Royale and Hannah's. A bus ride away from Downtown and the "Fremont Experience" but near The Venetian, Caesar's Palace and the Mirage. Good value basic accommodation with free parking.

    « A great time in Vegas »

I spent 4 nights in Vegas here at the end of January. The rooms were fantastic. There are many different restaurants close by and you can choose sit down or fast food....The Casino is being remodeled so there are walls put up here and there... but it did not stop the action from going on... There are Craps and Blackjack tables as well as slots and other card games... the minimums are lower here..... You don't pay a resort fee at this hotel and the rooms have all been upgraded..... some of the other areas are still in need of remodeling but it is going on already..... You can't go wrong by staying here... and being right on the strip....

    5
« Great place in the middle of The Strip »

We chose this hotel mainly because of the location and the price and we couldn't be happier about it. The location is absolutely perfect, in the middle of The Strip, with everything you want to see nearby, restaurants, shows, it's just amazing. The room was good also, very comfortable, with all basic amenities. The staff is very friendly also. We didn't go to the casino but you will get credit to use on it and it seemed to be good. We'd definitely come back.

    4
« Loved this unusual choice! »

I usually prefer a little more glam when it comes to hotels in Vegas, but our visit this time coincided with the CES and the prices at most places were just outrageous. We decided to give this place a try and now I don't know if I'd ever go back to the Bellagio! First of all, it has been said a thousand times. It is right in the middle of the strip, probably equal distance to the Stratosphere and to Mandalay Bay. At the price point the location is absolutely amazing. What's even better was how accessible the rooms are. You don't have to walk through the casino floor, you step out the room and you are on the strip! You walk the other way and you are right at the garage! You cut 10 minutes out wherever you are going this way and it is great for a girl in heels. The room is a little small and doesn't have anything fancy, but it is quite comfortable and I actually didn't think it was shabbier than Caesars Palace. Lastly, I appreciated having some of the normal dining options right there. I really enjoy the high end dining scene in Vegas but between those fancy 5 course meals, I really like the option of having a White Castle slider with a Diet Coke!

    4
    « Good value »

We spent a day and night in Las Vegas in this hotel and found it decently priced for the value we got. Included the parking, the price was right or even low. Probably it is assumed they'll get the $ in a different way. So be aware this is a casino based hotel. There's also a subway in it in case you just want to grab a bite. The room was large and very nice indeed, recommendable.

« Best Price, Location and Value »

I was very impressed with this hotel. NO RESORT FEE!!! You cannot beat that no matter how good of a rate you get somewhere else there is always a resort fee. Not sure how they get away with not having a breakfast for a PLUS property but kudos to you all. There were no issues during my stay. Room was clean, small (but who cares you are in Vegas - no time to stay in the room), and staff was nice. It fit my needs perfectly. Center strip, clean, updated...I experienced NO NOISE during my stay on the 4th floor. Literally, no noise at all. I do not think Vegas memories are made in the rooms or at the hotels so it's important to keep that in mind. Housekeeping staff has some work to do as far as attitude and service are concerned (as I encountered them quite frequently) but room was spotless. I asked for extra blankets and pillows (because my husbands ankle was swollen) and the guard who brought the blanket (no pillows) to my room checked to see if there were any additional guests (which there was not). I like that staff was paying attention. It let me know that they were mindful and did not want any issues with loud rooms. This will be the only hotel I stay at while I am in Vegas. Thank you!!!

« Good value for your dollar »

While the casino and hallways are a bit tired, our room was very clean and comfortable. Crisp white fresh linens on the bed and in the bathroom. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Good location, right across from The Mirage, between Harrahs and The Venetion. The new Linq Hotel and Casino, High Roller within easy walking distance. The only distasteful part is the smell of stale smoke/cigarettes in the casino itself.

    « Vegas Vacation »

The best deal in town. Great room at a great price. The room was clean, updated and comfortable. The bed was heavenly. Fun casino right on the Vegas strip surrounded by Harrahs and Venetian and directly across Las Vega Blvd. from Mirage. If you're a beer drinker like me then you'll love the $1.00 Michelob beer special (Michelob Lager, Lite and Ultra $1 a bottle) at the lobby bar and casino 24/7. The two main hotel restaurants are Denny's and Outback. Value and quality..

    « Birthday Trip »

You could not ask for a better location. This hotel is right on the strip. Between Harrah's and the Venetian. The casino is not as large as others on the strip which was great as I am not a gambler. I joined their club and received $25 to play.I played many slot machines and lost. I more than made up for it at the roulette table. The low table minimums are great. The $1 Michelob are also great. My Suite was beautiful and spacious. The staff was very friendly. This was a great way to spend my birthday. The only downside was that my trip was not long enough.

    4
« Good value, great location! »

This is not a huge casino with thousands of rooms. But if you want comfortable accommodation right on the Strip, this is the place. Only a 4 storey building behind the casino (looks like a remodelled motel) but the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Wel renovated without all the faux marble of the big expensive casinos. Free parking and only steps from the Strip.

« Not a bad little hotel in the heart of the Strip »

Clean, well-located, very reasonably-priced hotel. If you need to be right on the Strip in Las Vegas and have limited funds, this place is great! No resort fee, high-speed internet, nearby Walgreens and fast food. The casino has a newish slot club that is very good -- when I started playing slots I was doing poorly and it reimbursed me $60 for my losses. Later on I actually won! Try to say that at one of the larger casino conglomerates.

« great stay and great location »

great stay, nice rooms, friendly staff. he called me when my room was ready to check in. perfect location on the strip. Right next to a Denny's and Walgreens. They also have a lot of places to eat right inside of the hotel. I will be staying there again and in the near future.

« FREEZING IN THE ROOM... NO HEATING CONTROLS IN ANY ROOM! :-( »

I travel for a living...sometimes I stay in 4 and 5 star hotels, when work pays for it.... sometimes I stay cheaper, when I have to foot the bill. Staff at this place is extremely nice and very helpful. My room was clean and newly updated. Great location. Great price. BUT I FROZE THE ENTIRE TIME!!!! The wall thermostat control only lets you put on the air conditioner... NO HEAT!!!! This is how their system is set up. Apparently the entire building has to get down to a certain temperature before the "powers that be" will put any kind of heat on in the building. It was 40 degrees outside!!! All they were able to do for me was send up another blanket... they do not offer pace heaters. I've only ever seen this type of system once in my life... in France. BUT THIS IS AMERICA!!!! Who creates a system like this??? Will never stay here again, unless it's during the summer. So bring your electric blankets and long underwear.

    « Stay Away »

The room was small and the bathroom was even smaller. Considering the cost of the room, it was definitely not worth the money. We were put in a room across the side parking lot from Harrah's. Loud music blasted from Harrah's until 1:00 am. Complaining to the BW manager netted a small refund and a lecture on noise and how she couldn't control what Harrah's did, even though there was a noise ordinance.

    « Comfortable and Convenient »

My wife and I stayed at the Best Western Plus Casino Royale in January 2016 and couldn't be happier with our experience. Check in and check out was easy. The staff was friendly. Our room was clean. For a comfortable, easy going stay on the strip I couldn't recommend the BW Plus Casino Royale enough. I would say the BW is probably a different experience than the gigantic mega hotels. Instead of roped off lines and waiting 20 deep to check in, or waiting for an elevator and going 20 floors down and winding your way through a massive lobby and casino and then side walk and drive way. At the Best Western Plus you are out of your room and ON the strip in less than a few minutes. Down 2-4 flights of stairs or (a short elevator ride) and out the door and you are on the thick of the strip. You have the Mirage right across the street, Harrahs next door and your on your way walking south or the Venetian and all that lays north. Several of my party also were first time Vegas visitors and we took full advantage of the central location and explored all of the casinos, shops and restaurants all with in easy walking distance.

Strip location, but noisy, smoky and small rooms. I wound up moving to another hotel for modern room. Hotel staff is friendly, kind and make the best of their work environment. Be aware of prostitutes soliciting in parking lot and garage, definitely not a family destination.

« Ideal Spot on the Strip »

We stayed at the BW Plus Casino Royale the third week in January. The room, on the 3rd floor, was a decent size with TV, refrigerator and Keurig coffee maker. The room was clean and had a king bed, writing desk with ergomatic chair and another lounge chair and foot stool. Check-in and check-out were quick and the desk personnel were friendly, but not overly so. As others have said, the carpet in the hallway really needs to be replaced. The hotel can't monitor all its guests. but there people in the hallway who were inconsiderate by hollering to each other in the hall. The hotel has 4 floors but the main elevator, located in the center of the hotel, has not worked for at least a couple months. One would expect more from a hotel with a Plus rating by Best Western. Another reviewer had complained about housekeeping being late or MIA. That was not the case with us, as housekeeping was not only timely but did an excellent job tidying our room. Parking is free and the hotel has a few fast food places plus Outback Steak House available without the need to go outside. Denny's and Walgreen are next door. Another positive is no resort fee, which is abused by all the major hotel/casinos. The hotel is in a great location, easy access to Harrah's and the Linq; walking to other casinos is easy enough while fighting the crowds along the Strip. Negatives include: 1) the bathroom is rather small, but workable, 2) the heat cannot be regulated in each room. This caused quite a change in the room temperature during our 3-night stay. We plan to stay here again but will request aroom facing the pool, as suggested by other reviewers I hope the hotel can find time to repair the dysfunctional elevator.

« Great location, clean and friendly would definitely stay again »

We stayed here for five nights in September 2015. The hotel is centrally located on the strip, next door to Harrah's and virtually opposite Caesars palace. McDonalds and other eateries were on hand as was the bust stop which takes you to Freemont Street one way and the iconic Vegas sign the other way. Hotel house keeping was very good and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We didn't have chance to gamble or use the swimming pool so I can't comment on them but we did have the foot long hot dog which was delicious. We too struggled like other reviewers with taking our cases through the casino But!!! a word of advice book in first and leave your bags in the car. Once booked in your swipe card will allow you access (from the car park by the pool) to the lower floor and lift area it will be easier to take your cases in this way and is exactly what we will do next time as we will not consider staying anywhere else in the future. We spoke to other travellers who had paid much more than us for higher end accommodation who were left disappointed with their location and thefts from their rooms. The room we stayed in was room 302. The location was quiet and the facilities good. We were travelling and booked transport from and too the airport so we did not bother having a car until the morning we left Vegas which saved a considerable amount of money.

« Better Options Available at Better Prices »

Had a one-night stay at this hotel as was attending CES 2016. The best part is the hotel has an excellent location just next to The Venetian that hosts a lot of conferences. But at 380 USD for a night at exhibition times, there are many more super luxurious options available in the same vicinity. The reception area is too small and is like a ask to be found among the casino area. They have a huge parking space behind the place and is a good advantage if you are driving to Vegas. No visible front facia of the hotel.

    3
« Too hot for Vegas »

Winter heating system does not permit guest to control room temp, Default is 74F/23C. Too hot for us. Only alternative was to open a window but being near the strip, that turned out to be noisy at night. Microwave promised online but not available. We checked out after one night.

« Overall it was good. »

I like how downstairs there is a Pizza Hut, Subway, Walgreens and even a Casino. The room was clean and perfect for its purpose. The only bad thing I really experienced was the lack of heating. There was only one unit for the floor. The room was cold and hard to sleep.

« Best budget hotel on the strip »

This place is a hidden gem in the middle of Las Vegas Strip. It's right across the street from Mirage and just beside Harrah's, so the location couldn't be any better. Although it's a small hotel, the rooms are big enough, very well maintained and clean. Most importantly, there is no resort fee and wifi is free. All the other hotels on the strip have a resort fee. If you are in Vegas and looking for a value deal, this is the best one you can get. Don't bother booking at TI, Stratosphere or Luxor. Casino Royale is a lot better in terms of room service and maintenance, and also location.

    3
    « Good location - but noisy »

Avoid the "backyard" rooms; there was a bottle trash container which was emptied every hour by a by truck. People for check-in and check-out were very professional, fast and friendly. The location is very one minute walk of major hotels.

    3
« Great place to lay your head »

If you're looking for a true Vegas experience.. this isn't your hotel. Yes, it has a casino, but it's not one of the big casinos you see in the movies. But this little gem IS in every shot of the strip, because it's located perfectly to get to everything. I booked here because I had 5 night worth of Reward points, and it was well worth it. The rooms are small, but they are newly renovated, and are quite. I was surprised how quite it was. so if you're looking for a good hotel to sleep, and use it as a room to unwinde away form the casinos and crowd, it does the trick.

« The rooms were pretty good but hotel was always noisy and so sleep quality was poor. »

This is an old hotel / casino but the rooms have recently been refurbished I think as my room was in good order and pleasant. (Room # 119 on ground floor). The casino is rather dated and tired but I did not use it anyway so that did not matter to me really. The check-in was very good thanks to front desk supervisor Katrina Doone who was very helpful and understanding of my requirements. I only stayed here two nights and both nights I was constantly woken up throughout the night by guests being noisy outside my room but also hotel staff who seemed to be doing noisy maintenance work or cleaning at like 6a.m.!?! A colleague of mine stayed here all week (Room 115) and he also said it was noisy every night in the hallway and he had poor sleep quality as a result. Also on one of my nights the fire alarm went off at 4a.m. which woke the whole hotel up but it was a false alarm!!! Not great at all. Car Parking is free and access to the hotel from the car park is easy. The hotel is good value and is located right on The Strip opposite The Mirage and the Caesar Palace Forum Shops. For my two nights in January 2016 I paid US$196.54 including all Taxes.

    « This place is a gem »

Terrific value in a perfect central location. Comfortable, clean well maintained rooms. Easy access to everything on the strip from clubs, and fine dining to terrific fast food and Walgreens drugstore. Always my first choice where visiting Las Vegas,

    « Great Strip Location »

This hotel is conveniently located on the strip, without the hassle of the large casino/hotel check in procedures. We stay here when just passing through town. It is very accessible for my husband who is handicapped and he can easily find his way to the food court and back to the room.

    5
« An absolute jewel, location location location »

Nestled in between the venetian and Harrahs and opposite the mirage this little gem is a steal in the heart of the strip. Cheap cheap cheap room prices which were lovely and clean. The only casino with $1 beers! Also great to have $5 blackjack tables. Next door to Dennys and walking distance to everything. Would never stay anywhere else. All the pros of the major high priced places as its right there amoung them!

« not good enough for Vegas.(you can do better) »

Booked for five night stay, left after first night. Bath not clean, toilet dirty, room small you would not want to spend much time in .We are not snobs but like a good standard.whent to the Venetian booked both thru booking.com on line, not much price difference, but world's apart if you are going to make memories it has to be right. Will write review for Venetian

    « Great hotel! »

Location, location, location! This Best Western is located right in the heart of the Strip. It offers great value for the money. It's not one of the giant casinos in Vegas, but it offers everything you would need. Rooms are big, clean, wifi is working well and you can just step out and enjoy the Vegas atmosphere! I would recommend it to everyone!

    « Enjoy »

Very good location and room rates was ok. staff was very helpful. Lots of restaurants in walking distance also next to hotel. My family enjoyed at BEST WESTERN because walking distance all we needed. We will stay again here .

    3
« Decent Hotel but poor ventilation and service »

The ventilation still seems to be a problem, as I did read this on a review from 2 years ago. Also, the way the staff seemed to deal with a lost and found claim was extremely disappointing. Unlike other hotels, please dont expect to find anything you may leave behind accidentally. Other than that, location and price were good, but the above experience has marred my experience.

    3
« Christmas in LAs Vegas »

Very good location. Hall and room carpets are filthy. Continual noise form water pipes. Coffee machine did not work. One (1) elevator our of service for the entire three (3) das we were there. Street bums wee roaming through the casino almost all the time. Dealers on the table usually obese and slovenly dressed. Foot long hot dogs are great. Business center equipment worked perfectly. No sports book. A/C and Heat did not work. Water smell was God awful !

    2
    « Best Western Minus »

In Vegas you have many choices, so choose some where else. There are many hotels that are less expensive, and much nicer than Casino Royale. We had a room with a view of the roof next door. A Best Western Plus with no microwave in the room, ridiculous. Staff at check out was very rude, so that is the last time I will be checking out from there.

    5
    « Can't beat it »

Check in was fantastic great staff clean rooms you can pay more but why. Right on the strip. Better then expected. Casino was packed but plenty of room to move around even has numerous places to eat right in the building.

    3
    « Bad Housekeeping »

Pro: 1. Hotel location is great. The attractions are often located within walking distance. Except for visiting the Stratosphere by bus, we walked to all other attractions. Con : 1. Housekeeping schedule. The housekeeping service is either late (3pm or 5-6pm) or not at all. One day, we left early and arrived at the hotel around early evening, room was not cleaned. No housekeeping came to clean the room for the rest of the evening. Next day, we left at 9am and came back at 5pm. Room was not cleaned yet. We had to call housekeeping to clean the room after 2 days of not being cleaned. We had to wait about 1 hour before housekeeping came to clean. Con 2 : We were staying in a non-smoking room but often smelled cigarette smoke in the room.

    3
« Nice value option on the strip »

This hotel worked fine for us. It was half the price of any other hotels on the strip given that there is no associated resort fee. The room was relatively clean and comfortable, staff friendly, and everything worked well (tv, internet, shower, refrig, coffee). Don't expect any frills as with the larger surrounding resorts but hard to beat the price given the location. I would stay again. Be aware though that given the low price and location, the hotel might attract party-goers as it did on the weekend we stayed. Wasn't major issue for us, but might reconsider if taking kids or you are a light sleeper.

« Road trip during xmas »

We choose here because we felt it was in the center of activities and it was. Next to all kinds of restaurants, shops, casino's, and white castles, the folks here were friendly, my husband legs hurt, we rented a scooter for him from a recomendatation from the hotel, the only problem we had we did not fully charged it correctly on the second day. Made sure you asked how and avoid our mistake. The room was clean, and the mattress was comfortable, Other than that we are coming back.

    4
    « Pleasantly surprised! »

We revisited this hotel to stay after being here a few weeks earlier to use the casino. The rooms are far more pleasant than the hotel lobby and casino reflect. The rooms were comfortable, very clean, and well equipped. Access to the hotel was through a keyed door which gave excellent security and kept the rooms very quite, you would not believe we were over a very busy casino. Our room had complimentary, coffee, tea, iron, safe, and wifi. The location was ideal, right on the strip and in the thick of it. Please be aware that drinks at the tables are also complementary. All together a very pleasant stay and will use again when returning to Vegas.

    3
« Nice location, no resort fee »

We stayed here for four nights and enjoyed being in the middle of the strip. There is a tix4 booth right outside and a Denny's next door that we enjoyed for breakfast. The hotel is fine and small, we followed suggestions for a quieter room facing the pool and we're happy. The air conditioning units on the roof next door were a little noisy but we could not hear the strip, so it was a good trade off. Really quick access to the street down a flight of stairs and out one door and we are on the street. The rooms were clean, the hall carpet worn but would recommend as we just wanted a room to stay in:)

    « Great location »

The main selling point of this hotel (other than price) has to be the location. It is located in the middle of the strip which makes it very easy to get to nearby attractions. The room itself itself is a good size and the krueger coffee machine and fridge were welcome additions. The room oversaw the pool and rear entrance to Casino Royale but having read other reviews I wasn't expecting a great view. There was a slightly funky smell in the lift but it wasn't a big deal. Overall the room was very clean and good value for money.

    4
    « I loved it. »

It was on the strip in the middle of it all. Very clean. Staff when checking in was extremely friendly, as with all staff we encountered. The front of building open to the street, which I thought was nice.

    5
« Smaller than other hotels in the area »

I stayed here with my 13 year old daughter. It was smaller than the other hotels around like Mirage, Caesars etc so I am glad we stayed here. The room was clean. It had 2 double beds, small kitchenette and a bathroom. The room was quiet also as you need your room key to swipe into the room area. You could get to your room without walking right through the casino which I also liked. It was very well priced and is situated right across the road from the Mirage and only about a 5 minute walk to The Bellagio.

    « A hidden surprise »

We've stayed @ various hotels while @ trade shows over the years. When looking for an affordable lodging option on the north end of the strip, we ran across the Best Western Plus. We've walked by it many times & didn't realize there was a Best Western hotel. It's nice you can walk in a door & take a few steps to get right to the rooms w/o going through the whole casino. The halls have older carpeting, but the rooms were pleasantly remodeled & a decent size. We like the refrigerator & the Keurig coffee maker in our room. Our room was clean, & we appreciated the free Wifi. What we didn't like was that the room's thermostat couldn't control the heat. We were told that all rooms' thermostats only controls the AC. We could turn our heat off, but then we could not even have a fan circulating. Since we had cooler than normal December temperatures, our room was hot. The window opened, but it was too noisy to leave the window open. I'd suggest not staying on the Harrah's side of the Best Western due to the alley with many dumpsters. We'd stay here again, but make sure we have a room on the pool side of the hotel. Staff was very friendly, too.

    3
    « Central Heating/Cooling not Cool »

We could not adjust the A/C into cool mode it was 80 in our room and the only option was heat, Front desk said "Open the Windows" -- yeah on the strip that sounded great and didn't smell all that good either.

    « Perfect Loction,Clean Hotel, Great Service »

This hotel is located right in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip. The hotel is only 4 stories tall, so there is no 1 mile walk to your room. We stayed in a Junior suite and the separate living room with dining table was great to hang out without having to be on your bed. Great updated decor, very clean. Definitely would stay here a again.

    « On the Strip »

What a great value on the strip! Nice, clean room. friendly, efficient staff. Good free Wi-Fi. Don't expect the Bolagio, but everything is A-One - even a Keurig in room coffee maker. Location is terrif- right across the road from the Mirage and next to the Venetian.

    3
    « Not bad enough »

Good location in the Strips. Rooms are clean and big. A bit noisy in the hall. I can hear other guests voices walking in the hall. I wish 1 free bottle of water will be provided. Clean bathroom and toiletries are complete.

« First Stay in Vegas »

Our first stay in Vegas was great. This hotel is in the perfect spot. It's a hidden treasure on the Strip. No resort fees, just the nightly stay fee. The pool is never crowded. The rooms are easily accessible.

    2
    « Not good »

Left remarks earlier, But this is not quality standard of Best western plus Found black hairs on bed linen and drop of blood on pillow case and makeup on pillowcase. The room was so hot we had to leave the window open all day and all night. So hot could not sleep, the noise from the street echoed down the alley beside of our open window was so loud. Was not enjoyable. The room was not what we had expected. Other BW Plus are awesome. But not this one

  • 3
« Good spoilt by lack of attention to detail »

Great position on the strip with clean rooms, good prices and satisfactory amenities. However central heating and air is controlled by the hotel itself and not within the room. This made for uncomfortably high night temperatures and opening the windows only led to very loud background noise. Also pillows were small and uncomfortable.

« Vegas as it is! »

Please note some recognition for employees During my stay within the BEST WESTERN PLUS CR on 12/6 at 230. These employees assisted me At CS and Security and went above and beyond service with assisting me in some Vegas ideas when all others failed. Bright, Energetic, and Fresh are ideal words to describe LinqConcierge. Thank youJeans and Rodeo week 12/2015. I had a hoot n nanny time with gaming and comps for 1 using the Match20 promo.

    « solid 4 star »

This is the 19th year we've gone to Vegas the week of thanksgiving. We have stayed in high end, low end, medium end. There are things we demand, things we could care less about. We never use: gym, pool, high end restaurants, spas, taxis. We must have: a clean 1 bedroom suite with separate bedroom, fridge, good wi-fi, customer service. The Casino Royale was a super deal, less than 100 dollars a night all in. NO RESORT FEE, has fridge, Keurig, separate bedroom, super friendly staff. We had a room on the 4th floor, semi view of the mirage volcano. Loved the fact we could open the windows and hear the water form the Mirage volcano and have fresh air. A few steps from our room to the elevator, a few steps from the elevator to the strip. Sandwiched between the Venetian and Harrahs, across the street from the Mirage and TI. Walgreen's, Fat Tuesday, White castle in house along with Outback, Denny's, Subway and Cinnabon. Easy walk to the Linq. No valet parking, but walk from ramp is less than usual walk from valet though casino to elevators in most hotels. Security guards were observed frequently in the garage. Casino is more like a Fremont street joint, small and smokey. That being said, we had really good luck. Nothing fancy, but if you like no frills, this is an excellent choice, Will never be a 5 star, does not pretend to be.

    « Oh Yeah! »

A full force location on the Strip! One of the most adorable places i've ever been, everything just clicked perfectly. Huge room and an incredible breakfast. Hope i'll come back here soon, that's worth of every dollar you put in it.

    « Excellent »

Clean, good bed, quiet and helpful staff. Good value for money. Located right in the heart of the Strip and next to the Venetian with a lot of stores. Outback Steakhouse on second floor of hotel structure.

« Lives up to its name »

I really enjoyed this trip and more so the hotel location. We were located right in the middle of the strip hotels which made walking possible and minimal cab rides. Enjoyed the convenience of the various eateries in the vicinity and 24 hour dining for those late night munchies. Having Walgreens right downstairs was also great for those items we forgot or isnacks for in between meals. This hotel is really under rated. You get quality for a reasonable price. The only this this location (Las Vegas) was lacking was their delicious Continental Breakfast Room with those yummy Belgian Waffles! We also appreciated that the hotel was not a major hotel with too many people and distances too far to walk. Looking forward to visiting Best Western Plus again for our next trip!

« Enjoyed our two night stay at the Best Western Plus.....located right on the Strip »

Stayed two nights here (we wanted a place on the Strip that was economical, and if possible no resort fee....and this met the mark). Parking in parkade at the back (got to this from Koval street, and then turning up towards the Venetian and Harrah's valet parking). Short distance to carry our bags....via back door of casino, and then through casino (one of staff members near back door saw us and led us to the check in desk...which is near front of the small casino). Our room was on first floor and faced an alley.....likely about 100 metres back from Las Vegas Boulevard so quiet and we had a good sleep. Room was very comfortable - nice bed, shower, TV with lots of channels, safe, fridge, in-room coffee, desk with chair, and upholstered chair to sit in. We loved the location - right across from the Mirage, and between Harrah's and the Venetian. The hotel has an outdoor pool (too cool for us to use during our stay), and exercise room). Would stay here again (reasonable price, great location).

    3
« May find better choices »

Thought this would be a nice inexpensive gem. The room was very clean, and not run down. Room worth the value (~$80 plus tax). When guests would close their doors, extremely loud. Late maid service related to key card (we think). Front desk staff rude after an issue with our room key, and had to go down 3 times - Security came - wasn't rude, had to re-key door, took some time, we were tired from walking the strip. Casino smoke filters poor. Overall Average rating - may be better choices and/or deals.

    4
    « Great Location »

Stayed here as the price was really good compared to others. They didn't have the flash gear as the others do, but for the location and not having to pay the resort fees and free parking for the car was pertect for us. We spent most of our time out sight seeing, If your with your family and you want all the bells and whistles I suggest you pay for it and stay somewhere else.

    « Bucket List - Checked Off »

A trip to Las Vegas had been on my Bucket List for many years BUT staying at a huge hotel kept me away. The Casino Royale was exactly what I needed. The location was excellent because I had several things to do at The Mirage which is across the street. I need quiet and a clean room. This hotel gave me both. The room with a king size bed was very good. Even though I was on the second floor noise was not an issue. There is no view unless you do like looking at a parking lot - can't have everything. The staff was wonderful - very attentive and considerate. I was traveling alone and did not feel unsafe at all. The room key card opens the door to the hotel from the lobby. The parking garage was easy to access once you knew where to turn in off the main road. With about 150 rooms this was the size hotel that I knew I would be comfortable staying at.

« The Ups but mostly Downs of Staying at this Best Western »

I was in Las Vegas for a conference and I stayed six nights at the Best Western Casino Royale. I have stayed at a few other Best Westerns (Long Beach, CA) (Niagara Falls, NY) and had been pretty decently satisfied with the quality for the price I was paying. I will address some points below and I hope this helps everyone: Location: Wonderful, could not be in a better spot. Right on the strip and within walking distance of many big venues (Venetian, Mirage, etc.) Rooms: Not bad, not great in overall quality. I was not a fan of not being able to control the temperature in my room. Apparently the main office controls the cool and heat settings so you are pretty much at the mercy of the staff's view of what is hot or cold. Also, try opening your window and you are met with a delightful aroma of Las Vegas stench outside your window. Smelled like a garbage. But the room itself was not bad, beds were nice, shower was decent as well. Actual hotel: Gym - bare, not much at all which was a shame for me. Elevators - pretty bad, most were out of service and not really technically advanced. Hallway - always smelled bad, never could tell which aroma was going to greet me. Pool - not too bad, enjoyable. Casino - Grimy, dark, not a fan. I highly recommend if you want a legit casino experience go next door to the Venetian. There are games, sure, but does not capture the best of Vegas. Overall - I won't stay there again when I return to Vegas. Additionally, I was paying 100$ a night which compared to other Best Westerns I was thoroughly disappointed. If you don't care about the things I reviewed, then you should definitely stay there. If you do care though, I would suggest upgrading. Hope this helps, happy traveling and may the odds ever be in your favor.

    « Great location »

I have been in Vegas many times and have stayed all over the strip and never knew this place was a hotel. The rooms where nice and they even had a fridge in them, because of the location most rooms don't have views. May and Elmer where wonderful during my check in and check out process. What I didn't like was they don't have valet or carts to assist with luggage or that we left at 9am for breakfast and didn't come back until 3pm and our room had not been serviced, we had to call down to get someone to change our sheets and do our bathroom which they responded to with in 10 minutes. Also on our last night the fire alarm when off in our room at 330am and someone had to come in to change the batteries. Other then those few issues, it was a great stay.

    3
« Some good and not so good points »

The hotel was pleasant enough, the reception was a bit odd in that it was in the middle of the casino. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed the main drawback was that we were near the rubbish compactor which appeared to be in use 24/7. As a result we did not have a particularly good night. I am sure our overall thoughts of the hotel would have been more positive if we had a room away from the compactor. Although the hotel is on the strip it is easy to miss if you are driving. Luckily we drove past in the opposite direction and spotted the entrance to the hotel car park before we saw the hotel itself. A reasonable stay especially if you are away from the compactor. As for Las Vegas itself we were glad to leave.

« Best Kept Secret in Las Vegas »

We have never been to Vegas and had no idea what to expect. When planning our trip with friends, they decided to stay at the Venetian (they have been to Vegas several times). When I looked on google to see where the Venetian was, I noticed the Best Western symbol on the map. I thought this would be a perfect time to use some of my Best Western Points. I investigated the hotel some more and decided to do just that, use some points. When we landed in Vegas and got into our taxi, the driver asked us if the Casino Royale had rooms because he had never taken anybody to that hotel in the 20 years he was driving. Our response was we sure hope so! Sure enough, they did. The hotel lobby is tucked away in the casino but the staff were helpful and checked us into our room very quickly. Our room was on the third floor, it was clean and it even had a fridge. Our first thought was how quiet it was being that close to the action on the strip. We spent three restful nights in our room. The moral to my story is the Best Western Plus Casino Royale is an affordable and clean location to stay in Vegas. The best part is we were on the strip in 30 seconds from our room. Most of the resorts take 15 minutes or more just to walk from your room to the strip. If you want the luxury, then stay in the resorts. If you want convenience and economy, then stay at the Best Western. Lets face it, your room is just a place to get some rest and get back out to all of the action. The BW Casino Royale is centrally located to all of this action on the strip.

    « Good stay »

I stayed at this hotel because I wanted to be in this specific area of Vegas. The staff were extremely helpful in getting me settled into a room I would like. The hotel is centrally located for sightseeing. The room was excellent with a Keurig!

« Small but wonderful hotel on the Vegas strip »

I was feeling a little overwhelmed by the large themed hotels on the strip so the Casino Royale was perfect for my husband and I. Reasonably priced and a smaller hotel so it really suited us. Staff were friendly, beer was $1.00 per bottle and there were many machines to play. Close to a Deuce pick up location and right beside Harrah's and the Venetian. Great location!

    4
    « Descent and affordable »

We staid here for one night with a child and a baby. The hotel is located right on the strip with lots of parking space at the back of the building. The hotel is not as fancy as the main picture shows but it's clean and neat. The rooms are big enough and the beds are ok. It's a good hotel for low-budget or backpackers, not for families and/or longer stays, although for us it was a good experience for one night. Staff at the reception is rather cool then friendly.

One of the few places that serves bottle beer at $1.00 - local vodka & red bull $4.50 free drinks if yr playing the casino tables or doing the slot machines. Casino rules are better then some casion were rules change from one table to the other.

    « Quick 2 night stay. »

We were in Vegas for a conference as well as a little bit of fun. The Best western Casino Royale was in a great location. We got a taxi from the airport(they have Uber and Lyft also but wasnt that much difference in price and we didnt have the app anyway). Taxi cost about dollars including tip( Traffic wasnt too heavy). It's virtually right next to the Venetian and behind Harrahs, Great location. We were on a groud floor room with guest only entrance from the casino floor. It was a little noisy in the hallways at times but nothing that stopped us sleeping. Rooms were a great size and had a small kitchenette type area with coffee machine and fridge. They had vending machines in the hall and a business area where you could get online on their pc's and print boarding passes etc. There was a Dennys about yards walk away and a Walgreens that did drinks and snack and you could take it back to your room no problem. Getting a taxi you will be dropped in the pack parking lote. go through the doors to the casino and head left it take you to the guest services which is where you check in.

Website indicated no vacancies for dates requested. Called hotel & I was told the same thing after I asked if anything could be done to accommodate my wife & I. Called the "800" number & I was advised that there was a vacancy but that I would have to stay in same room the first 2 nights but need to move to a different room the 3rd night. I accepted this accommodation as the hotel was close to location of medical conference my wife was attending.

« Quiet and friendly in a central location. »

This is a great find for anyone looking for clean, comfortable and friendly accommodation right in the middle of The Strip. Situated between The Venetian and Harrahs, you have the convenience of the bus stop out the front and of being a very short walk to anywhere. The rooms are very quiet considering the location. ..a big bonus... no resort fees :)

    « Value »

We booked this motel because the price was right and there was no resort fee, which is huge if you're staying in LV. You get what you pay for, the hall way and casino was run down and smelled old. The rooms appeared to be newly furnished so that was nice to see. It wasn't a bad motel but we did switch to a four star across the street for the same price on Sunday night.

    « GREAT LOCATION & STAFF »

Great location but the hotel had flaws. The pipes were stinky in the bathroom. Smelt like gas. Would stay again if it was cheap, but wouldn't pay more than $900 AUS for a week. Was huge TV and a fridge inc. which was really good.

« Squeezed between the giants. »

This was a nice experience, much better that we thought. The location cannot be better if you want to stay on the strip. It is a really small hotel, only 4 floors, so it is not crowded. The pool area is very small but there were only a few guest, if any, in the area so you can probably have the pool almost by your self. The room was nice and of normal size, nice housekeeping staff doing a good job. Free WiFi is a plus, that is not common in Vegas. The garage was okay and easy accessible if you enter it from Harra's entrance, if you try to enter or exit from the Strip you have to cross the sidewalk of the Strip and that is not easy. Overall a great stay and we will probably stay there again.

This is not the Crown Jewel of Best Westerns but it is a very nice hotel and Casino. Room was clean and also had a fridge and coffee pot in it. Very little noise for having a Casino in it. If I were to go back to Las Vegas I would look at staying in this Hotel again. I would give it a four star rating. Nice and close to everything.

    « Great Price & Great Location! »

This was my first time to Vegas and I did my homework of where I wanted to stay on the Strip. I felt the BEST WESTERN PLUS Casino Royale was the right price and location for me and my husband. First of all it's located in the center of the strip (across from the Mirage). Second there is no resort fee; I have an issue with being charged for a newspaper and wifi and the use of other things that other hotels (like this one ) consider an amenity. BONUS they also have a coffee maker and fridge in the room. If you are looking for a very clean room, good staff, and great location then this is your hotel. I will warn you the casino is rough but lively. I really enjoyed my stay here.

    3
« Cost effective alternative for convention »

Simple motel on the strip with easy access to restaurants & larger hotels. No resort fee is a plus with free, easily accessible parking. Very friendly staff. Free breakfast would be a plus to add for this motel.

« Best Western in a corner of Vegas »

Across the street from Mirage is a tiny Best Western hotel that gives the expected Best Western quality value and is in a great location. If you want a place to sleep that's cheaper than the fancy casinos, choose this one.

« Perfect room, perfect location, just perfect. »

This hotel is an absolute gem, anyone who leaves a bad review clearly isn't well off enough to stay in the bigger hotels and is bitter about it. Location is ideal, 2 mins from the Venetian and 10 mins from all the bigger, flasher hotels. You do not have to walk for miles to find reception, unlike some of the larger hotels on the strip. The casino itself is exactly what you would expect and the staff were very helpful. Yes, the carpets are a little musty smelling in the hallways but unless you plan on sleeping here then the rooms are perfect. Nice big beds, fridge, safe and an ice machine located on each floor too. I will be travelling back to Vegas again and would not hesitate to stay here. Thank you Best Western :)

« Over priced Room on Las Vegas Strip »

This room was way over priced as compared to other rooms we have stayed at on the Las Vegas Strip. We stayed 3 nights and were looking to save a few dollars, but next time we will definitely spend the extra few a night to get a better room. The room was clean and the bed good, but our window faced the garbage bins of McDonalds next door and every time the A/C turned on we got a nice smell of the garbage. Would not recommend unless you are really desperate to stay on the strip and there is no other room. We ended up staying another two nights at Harrahs which was less per night with the same quality of room but a nice strip view and no garbage smell.

    5
    « Charming Casino »

We did not stay at the hotel, although I told my husband we would have to do so in the future. Loved the casino we played for several hours and still had money. The workers are so friendly and helpful. If you want to experience the feel of what a Las Vegas casino used to be (before the mega giant beasts appeared), this is the place for you.

    3
« Great Location, not much else »

The hotel has a fabulous location, in the middle of the strip. That is probably the best thing about the hotel. The room was clean, quite and comfortable but the carpet in the corridors had a very musty smell The elevator was rickety. The hotel has surely seen better days. Another irritating thing is that the reception is in the middle of the hotel casino. The good thing was the price for the location, so I guess its a trade off.

    4
« Its damn good for the money »

Location is awesome, towards the northern end of the strip, everything in easy walking distance. Price is really good for that location, sure it's not the fanciest casino but rooms were a decent size, well equipped for the money and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful, getting in & out of the car park can be bit of a pain, probably best to leave the car there and walk. Would stay again.

    5
    « Great location »

The hotel was in a great location in the center of the strip. Room was excellent and very quiet, despite being so close to the strip. Excellent value for money, room facilities were great and internet connection very good and free.

« Great Hotel due to location and price point »

I had some trepidation going to this hotel; but since, we are "Best Western" members ( the previous Las Vegas property was a total "DIVE"), and this was a newer property, we decided to give it a try. We like to accumulate points and like the Best Western family in general. We were pleasantly surprised! The hotel could not have a better location, you are within easy walking distance to great eats, shows and shopping! The casino has "easy" slots... I actually came home without loosing money! Once you figure out how yo get in and out... Nothing could be easier. This hotel is nestled between Harrah's and the Venetian... Can you get any better than that? We walked to Mirage, Caesars, TI and I am in my 60's and don't walk much... I loved the "Outback" that was on site... Would go for snacks/drinks and was wonderful! Look for the sign at Walgreens. Turn in there, park in the temporary parking spots and enter the casino. Stay to the LEFT until you find the service desk. It WILL be a challenge! Once you get registered and have a key, park in the garage and look for the blue canopy to your left. That is your room access! This is a GREAT hotel, staff is great, I discount it 1 star for elevator condition, dirty carpet in hallways and not having a microwave (there is a fridge) in the rooms.

« A Hidden Gem on the Strip »

I was in Las Vegas 9/20-9/26, I did not stay at Casino Royale, but did do a lot of gambling there. I had more fun and won more money there, than at any other casino that I went to. The staff was very nice, the cocktail waitresses were very accommodating and always had my drink for me every morning as I sat at the same caveman keno machine each day. I had asked to see the rooms as I would like to see where I could possibly be staying next time I go to vegas, and they had no problem showing me a room that was unoccupied as a future choice. I was so very glad that I found this hidden gem and would definitely consider this as a choice when I return to las vegas in the future. If you want a fun environment and a place right on the strip, don't pass Casino Royale by..

« You Get What You Pay For »

If you need a bargain, here it is...if you don't mind being greeted by cockroaches and you actually enjoy the loud whine of a motor when you're trying to relax by the pool. Other than that, the room was okay and the bed was pretty comfy. No breakfast within, but there are a few places that are easily accessible (Denny's, McDonalds, Cinnabon).

This reletively small hotel is ideally positioned in the centre of the strip. Not being a large resort hotel it has a nice friendly feel, no unexpected resort fee add on, and no monster queues to reception.

« Good location on the Strip »

Good location; for the strip it s a more than fair price. We had a top floor room (only 4 floors) but it was so hot outside the air-conditioning struggled to keep the room cool during the day, so maybe go for a lower level room. Only fast food eating options so eat elsewhere

« Not as Trip Advisor reviewed »

This hotel was a disappointment. The room was fine. The casino left a Iot to be desired. I sat at my broken machine for 20 min but no help arrived. The front desk did nothing to help set up shuttle to airport. You have to use room key to get through sliding glass door to get to room. This is a great plan, but the door stays open so long that anyone could get into room area. This did not make me feel safe. The glass door was also behind the Tshrit sale area so there were many people who could go through doors. I guess the end result is you get what you pay for, but this is not the hidden gem that was advertised.

« Great hotel and good position. »

Service was great. Lots of lobby desk staff but all friendly and helpful. The room was great and we liked the small colorful view from our window.Location fantastic.Out our door to lift and on the Boulevard well under 5 minutes from room 400.Air con noisy,no big deal, noisy when volcano music on but hey, no big deal when you have a good location.Very nice clean pool which we used.Would stay here again for sure.

    5
« Why stay anywhere else? »

If you are looking for a clean room with fresh linens, a refrigerator, coffee maker, friendly staff, then Casino Royale will not disappoint. This hotel is located in the center of the strip, nestled in the middle of the larger hotels. There is no resort fee and there is a decent size pool and a fitness room. The casino staff were very friendly and helpful...Miranda gave us tips on where to shop for bargains and where to dine. I will definitely be staying here again.

Beers are super cheap here as are shots of tequila. I won more money at this casino than others and the divey feel of a Best Western suits me well. Also well located to everything else on the strip!!!

    « Excellent location »

Right in the middle of of Las Vegas Strip. We were able to walk to several casinos. Some blackjack tables have Free Bets for double downs, etc. Convenient fast food restaurants nearby. Would stay here again.

    3
    « Adequate room »

Stayed here 3 nights, room was quite small and bathroom even smaller. Beds were comfy though. We were on the 4th floor in the end room, quite noisy as near the garbage cans and the door was quite loose so would move and bang with other guests coming and going. Strong smell of eggs outside near the pool which put me off using it. Great onsite free parking in a garage which was a bonus although getting in and out could be tricky at busy times as the pedestrians are just constant and do not want to stop to let you drive through. Check in and out was easy and pleasant, great staff. Would stay again but in a different room.

    « Best Kept Hidden »

We went to Las Vegas with friends who researched hotels using Trip Advisor and feel they were mislead. This hotel was a little less money than the luxury hotels but if you want an attractive, quiet, functioning room spend the extra. We were on the first floor and the hall smelled, the rooms had an odor, and we were across from the laundry room which was noisy during the day. This is not the staff's fault as they were doing their job. The tub in our room did not drain during a shower, our friends' safe had to be repaired, and the pool had worn out chairs and a humming noise from some machine that drove us all inside. The casino was dark and we felt rather odd going through a rack of clothes on sale to get to our rooms. We were busy enjoying Las Vegas so did not have to stay in our rooms but we would have liked to relax in a pretty room. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. I just think they need some major renovations on this Best Western so people can enjoy their visit.

VERY CHEEZY....Room Was Clean. Beds Needed replacing. NO BREAKFAST. There Was A Band Playing Right Next Door TILL 4AM. BOOM BOOM BOOM. THE CASINO, Needs A Total Over Haul. I Used This Hotel For One Night, I Arrived Late And Only Stayed Here 6 Or 7 Hours. GO Next Door To The VENETIAN Or PALAZZO.

« Extremely convenient, clean, comfortable. »

Best Western Casino Royale is centrally located on the strip - shows, other casinos, restaurants all within walking distance or short bus ride using the "Deuce" bus. Excellent dinner at Outback and Denny's is next door. The hallways were quiet - no noise from the casino. Rooms were up to date, free wifi, good AC and plenty of hot water. Good value at the price. Check in and out very helpful and professional.

    « Convenient and Clean »

This hotel is a basic stay at a convenient location on the Vegas strip. The staff was friendly and graciously accommodated my request for an early check-in. While non-smoking, my room on the first floor did have some residual smoke smells from the casino, but I'm sure that's typical in Vegas. There is a coffee maker, fridge and small bar area in the room. If you are looking for a comfortable bed, good location and don't plan on spending a lot of time in your room, I recommend this hotel, especially if you find a good rate!

    4
« Great little gem of a hotel amongst the mega resorts »

It's hard to truly rate a Vegas hotel as the hotels there are not arguably normal hotels. How can a mega resort which is a tourist attraction itself be compared to a regular chain hotel? So that needs to be taken into consideration when reading reviews about Vegas hotels. That aside, it is in a fab spot, the rooms were large and clean, helpful friendly staff, good priced drinks in the bar, and its soooo much cheaper than other hotels. If you want a good base that saves you money for the fun Vegas stuff this is perfect. If you want more luxury and want to chill around a gorgeous pool, with drinks brought by a waiter all day, this is perhaps lacking.....but who wants to do that all day every day in Vegas :-)

    4
« Good location and great price »

This hotel is in the middle of the Strip, check in was easy, rooms very good with a fridge and pod coffee machine, yes the casino could so with a little TLC but the $1 Michelob best price on the strip. Morning paper, free wi fi, local calls, helpful staff and no resort fees, try it out

    4
    « Great value »

Perfect location, good price. Good maid service. Excellent wifi. The bed is good, but may be too firm for some. The casino royal is much smaller than the sprawling properties nearby, good because you can get in and out without getting lost. The room is small by American expectations but really no problem. Much has been written on the internet about parking. It's very easy, turn right after Walgreens. Park in temporary parking spots. Follow signs thru casino to front desk. Go back, park in garage, take luggage thru door with blue awning using room key. Pedestrian access from the strip also easy. not far into casino there's a door to the hotel rooms via key access. The lobby and food court are hectic, and the ticket booth outside draws crowds, but really where in Vegas is not crowded and hectic. If not looking for luxury, thus is a good choice.

« Best Value for the money »

After pricing rooms at the Venetian I looked for a Best Western on line & found the Casino Royale. Very reasonable rates. Great location right across from the Mirage. Great selection of restaurants , including an Outback Steak House, yummy. The check in was very fast and the staff were very friendly. Our room was on the 4th floor and was very clean & quiet. The bed was very comfortable and my wife & I slept very well. They have a WalGreen's , a Denny's, a Subway, a White Castle, and I'm sure they have things that my wife & I missed. My wife enjoyed hanging out at the pool and if we go to Las Vegas again we will stay at the same hotel. t was great.

My wife and I have been to Las Vegas before & stayed at the Mirage. We looked at rates for the Venetian & went into shock. I looked for a Best Western & found this one.The rates were fantastic & the pictures looked good so my wife & I booked it. Great room for the money. Bed was very comfortable & the room was very clean. The staff was very friendly also. We loved it.We will stay there again.

« Great value and location »

This is a relatively small hotel between the Venetian and Harrah's, hidden behind their casino. It is not a fancy place. However, we used this as our base for a week and were very satisfied. Pros: Central location on the strip across the street from Mirage. No resort fees. Although the hotel did not seem to be new, the room was in very good shape. The room included a small fridge and Keurig coffee maker. We did not hear a lot of noise on the 3rd floor. Cons: No valet parking (not an issue for us.) Pool area was not very fancy. If you are driving, you can enter the hotel lot from the strip (at small Best Western sign) or from Koval Lane behind hotel. (This is a bit tricky the first time as you have to drive between the Venetian and Harrah's, past Harrah's, before reaching their 4 storey parking garage and lot.)

« amazing FIND in Las Vegas »

Last time my wife & I were in Vegas was 15 + years ago; stop off & return from Grand Canyon, etc hops! I booked the Celine Dion show as surprise birthday trip for her We also saw Cirque du Soleil "O" . When I was looking at hotels...I was turned off by the RESORT fees. We just did not have time to use it. Last time we had kids with us; MGM & Bally was good for a family stay. We had to FIND our way out (too big a place) and take a tram for Bally. Going over the review & list of hotels, I did remember Casino Royale we stood in front of it to watch the Mirage light show. Anyway I got a great deal for 4 night (Oct 2015) average $ 99 no resort fee; from other reviews i requested a room on 3rd or 4th floor facing the pool (quieter) but was not available. We took first floor room facing the pool. It was bright & refreshing in the morning we open the shades. The pool & exercise room was short walk behind. We were out every day, DID NOT get to use it !!! ( good thing NO FEE ) The room was re modeled...had a refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, in-room safe, (no Microwave). The place was clean, option for daily linen service, less than 3 min. walk out to the Main strip :) through the end of the Casino gift shop or the parking lot exit. Added bonus...inside in the back of the Casino is Subway, White Castle, and a couple of other eateries. CVS was next door. We got water, beer & snacks for our room. THIS IS THE MIDDLE OF THE STRIP....we walked toward each opposit direction each day to shop & stop in at other Casinos. M&M place is cute, we got a lot of gifts to bring home. Wynn's atrium colorful same as Bellagio Conservatory. We were disappointed that Treasure Island ended their free outdoor show 2013. The two shows were EXCELLENT !!! We agreed next time we would STAY HERE AGAIN !

« Good value for Vegas »

This hotel is older but the rooms have been remodeled and updated. I found the rooms to be very clean, comfortable, and quiet. It had a refrigerator and a Krueig coffee maker. The staff was very friendly and helpful. it is in a great location across from the Mirage. It is close to the monorail station and walking distance to the Venetian, Caesars Palace, and The Mirage. The drawback is the casino. It is very old , dirty, and smoky especially compared with the newly remodeled rooms in the hotel. I would definitely stay here again if coming back to Vegas.

« Excellent value for money and location! »

Me and my friend stayed here for 10 nights and couldn't really complain about a thing. Excellent location, directly opposite Mirage, ideal for exploring the strip! Rooms are very clean and bigger than expected. Pool is small but we just used neighbouring hotels pools, didn't spend much time in the hotel but who does in Vegas! Cosy casino with cheap drinks, also found the onsite Fat Tuesdays become a daily ritual! Would definitely stay here again for the value and location alone, although the lack of resort fees also helps!

Even though it was a small hotel, it served its purpose. Centrally located on the strip, it's close to everything. Friendly staff, free parking and wifi. I would suggest to clean the carpet in the hallway, but other than that, a nice and affordable place to stay.

« This Place is a Real Gem »

Thank you Tripadvisor. I don't know how many great finds that we have discovered through this site but there have been many. This is our latest find. We have stayed in Vegas many times. All of our stays have been in the big name hotels on the strip: Paris, Excaliber, MGM Grand and the Luxor. Some are better than others but they all have their annoyances: Having to walk what seems like miles through their casinos just to get to the front desks, long lineups for the priviledge of checking in, no coffee makers in the rooms (a huge pet peve with us), parking that is so complicated and difficult that you end up just shelling out tips for the valet parking. Their special deals look great but once you factor in having to pay a fortune for a cup of coffee every morning as well as the cash grab "resort fee", the deals are not always so great. Well, if you share our frustrations, this hotel is right up your alley. We stayed here for 2 nights solely based upon the reviews here in Tripadvisor. Through the reviews, we were able to determine that the rooms were clean and mostly quiet. That rooms were equipped with Keurig coffee makers and small fridge. That parking was a breeze and that check-in/out was also so easy. AND NO RESORT FEE. Ok, we paid 84.99 per night but did not have to shell out for all the other stuff. The staff were great. I would particularly like to praise Walter who checked us in and went out of his way to show me how to get in from the parking area. I also would like to praise the lady who handled our check-out...Sadly, I can't remember her name but it started with a K. The hotel is not the Taj Mahal but, in our case, our stay was better than any of the other places that we have stayed on the strip. We will be back next year and we highly recommend this hotel to any of those who have been annoyed at other hotels in Vegas

« You get what you pay for »

This was one of the less expensive hotels on the strip but you get what you pay for. The hallways had an odor, noise carries in the rooms. We had things come up missing which we reported but nothing was done.

    « Horrible experience »

I reserved a room at this hotel through hotels.com. When I tried to check in late, after pre-paying for the room, I was told there was no room available. I had a confirmation number and email confirming my reservation. The woman at the desk was extremely unhelpful. Did not try to be helpful until hotels.com got involved and faxed the reservation details. Even then, she said she didn't know how "they" got into their system, but somehow a room magically appeared and was available. Will never go back again. Worst experience ever! If "zero" stars was available, that's what I would give it.

« Good standard in Great location »

Rooms were nice & clean, Staff very friendly. Check in was very quick - much quicker then the BIG hotels. No resort fee to pay so EXCELLENT value for rmoney.Ideal central location om the strip so very easy to get around from here.

    « Location! Location! Location! »

I stayed at this location to attend a concert at a venue on the strip. I was able to check in early. I called before arrival, and the front desk informed me that if a room was not available for my early arrival that I could store my luggage and use the onsite amenities. Check-in was easy. Locating the front desk is not "convenient", but if you follow the signs you will be able to find it behind a row of slot machines. Breakfast is not offered onsite, but there are several food options onsite and right next door (ie. Subway, McDonalds, Panda Express, etc.). Free parking onsite is also available. My room was comfortable, clean, and the housekeeping staff maintained the appearance of my room. I was very pleased with the cozy mattress on my bed, and the lack of outside noise despite the fact I was on the first floor. The front desk happily answered any questions about navigating the streets of Las Vegas. Check out was a breeze!

« Great find this hotel »

Arrived and was not disappointed , great location on the strip next to where it's all happening . The hotel is clean and the staff helpful. No resort fees, nice pool, 1 dollar lagers ,cheap food on site with a good casino. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable. Don't book into one of the big hotels just stop here.

« Quiet hotel on the Strip »

The hotel room was nice and big and everything we needed was there. It was quiet despite being right in the middle of the Strip. Excellent location, within walking distance of most major hotels. There was no restaurant in the hotel, but with so much to choose in the area, it was not an problem. The pool area was quiet and secluded and a lovely place to get away from the crowds.

    « Excellent setting »

Right in the centre of the strip close to all the attractions. Great rooms with all the trimmings. Good staff willing to help, free WiFi. This is not the Bellagio or Caesars Palace, if you want those go pay their prices, but it's a good value for money place.

    « Great location! »

Lots of positives: Modern clean room, bath, FRIDGE!!! has a lift Next to walgreens store and McDonald's Not far from bellagio fountains (fave place) I would definitely stay here again Only minor negative was casino part was a bit too smoky for my liking as my toddler was with me. I avoided it of course though unavoidable when checking in/out.

    « Great stay »

It was a great place to stay if you didn't want or couldn't afford the bigger properties on the strip. It was still on the strip, and located right in the middle of everything so we never felt like anything was out of the way.

« Nice Little Gem in the Middle of the Strip but... »

My business partner booked these rooms for a conference well in advance and got a great rate on our rooms. I don't know how recently the rooms have been refurbished but they were very nice. I like that they had a Keurig coffee maker in the room and a safe. All the lamp fixtures had 2 extra plugins so pluggin in or charging your electronic devices was extremely convenient. Also made use of their full size ironing board and steamer iron. It also has eateries in and attached to the hotel as well as a Walgreens which was again very convenient. The staff were all very friendly and the craps and blackjack tables had low minimums for being on the strip. $5 min on craps but you can backup the bet 100x if you wanted to. The only thing that may prevent me from coming here with my wife or family is the elevator. That thing is old and scary. It shakes, groans, stutters and if the door is closing, don't try to put your arm in the way to get it to reopen because it is going to do what it wants. That thing is dangerous. By the end of the visit I was opting to use the stairs to my 4th floor room. Aside from that 1 point, I would certainly stay here again.

« Great Stay in Vegas »

« A reasonably priced place to stay on the Strip »

[+] Casino Royale is not the flashiest casino on the Strip but its hotel offers a lot of value for the money. Very spacious and clean rooms appear to be recently renovated. With its location next to The Venetian and opposite Mirage there is enough to experience, see, eat and drink; transport is available directly opposite hotel for trips to other places on the Strip and downtown Las Vegas.

This is a small hotel right in the centre where all the big, posh hotels are. As with all the hotels, the casino was the important thing and so we had to walk a long way from the car part to reception, through the casino. We then needed to walk through the other half of the casino to get to the hotel rooms entrance. Once in, the hotel is fairly standard and quite cheap. We had a large room with a comfortable bed and all the amenities, including free coffee and newspaper. The staff we spoke to were always helpful and there was not the pressure to get into the gaming side if you did not want to

If you want a flash hotel that costs the world with facilities you'll never use stay in the Bellagio or Ceasars Palace or one of the big ones. If you want to cut costs and stay somewhere with great bedrooms and bathrooms that's handy (right on the strip) then stay here. This hotel is fantastic. It cost way way less than the big ones (which you can still wonder around for free). You don't have to walk through a casino to get to your room, The hotel entrance is 6ft from the strip...none of the other have this. But does have a casino to downstairs. Its right next door to the Venetian and across the road from Ceasars. The strip is right on you door. Save money stay here and enjoy the Vegas. This hotel was great!

My mother-in-law and I go to Vegas twice a year. On one of our first visits we thought we had entered Harrah's, and sat down to play at a slot machine. We had some good luck, so then we decided to play Roulette. Neither of us are table games people, but we had an absolute blast with no pressure to behave or play in a certain way. Since that first trip (we later figured out we hadn't made it to Harrah's just yet), we always make it a point to visit Casino Royale. It is unpretentious, super fun, laid back, and a cheap alternative to have some gambling fun. The waitresses are quick, the people at the tables are a blast, and it is just a really good time. I have never stayed at the hotel (not even sure where it is at), but we always stay at TI and make it a point to visit Casino Royale. Plus, if you have a few too many, there are quite a food good, cheap food places in back. A $1.99 footlong after 10 beers tastes better than it sounds!!! The only cons are that it is super duper smokey and their gimmick to get you to sign up for a rewards card is a complete scam and waste of time. Other than that, I think you should stop by!
