Best Western Mission Inn

We had a lovely stay at this charming hotel. While this is a Vintage hotel it has been updated. The staff was efficient, friendly and welcoming. The lobby is beautiful and warm and comfortable, as is the breakfast room for morning dining. The food was warm, well prepared and presented. The room was spacious and comfortable. The beds were obviously pretty new and restful. Everything was very clean and fresh. This is obviously a vintage hotel that was updated, and we loved it. It was so nice being in a warm and comfortable hotel with character, rather than the sterile cookie cutters that are constructed today. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we were in the area.

Staff is super nice. Bus about one block away, Rooms are large and remodeled. The breakfast is really good. I stayed about five days around Christmas. Twice or three times during my stay, I went to wash my hands or take a shower, and there was no hot water. I really noticed this on X-mas Eve (in the afternoon) Ended up not going out, due to the fact I couldn't shower. I would stay here again, but I'm not sure why a large motel like this would have a hot water problem like I described.

I would like to give the front desk receptionist “Natalie” a HUGE Thank You! She was very friendly and extremely helpful! We arrived late that evening and she recommended a wonderful authentic Mexican Restaurant in the area! She made sure we had everything we needed and was very pleasant! Our room was very spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a nice overnight stay while on the road. The breakfast had lots to choose from and was very clean and well kept. The woman taking care of the area was very helpful and friendly and always making sure we had everything we needed.

I stayed at the Best Western in Las Cruces for two nights and had a wonderful stay. The room was clean and I felt very safe during my entire stay. The front desk staff was beyond friendly and the breakfast staff provided great service and the food was delicious, especially the warm biscuits.

Our planned two-night stay (booked just a day ahead) had to be extended to five nights due to car problems we had right when we arrived at the hotel. We were SO happy we didn't have to change rooms after our originally reserved two nights were up. The room on the upper floor that we had was so nice, spacious, quiet, and functional that we weren't even frustrated that we were delayed, and that we had to pay for three more nights. The only thing that didn't work in the room was the clock - it kept resetting to some weirdly random time which confused us until we just turned it away so we couldn't see it! We had a cat with us and had no problems with respect to that either. The room was large enough that we weren't tripping over his litter box or feeding area.

Was on my motorcycle and needed a clean convenient place to stay. This hotel fit all requirements and more. Good location to go out and see things, sleep was very restful, clean accommodations, reasonable price and good breakfast to start the day. If in Birmingham this is definitely the place to be.

The grounds are lovely, tree-covered with a nice swimming pool. The rooms are well shaded and very private. Everything was very clean and the extra blanket was much appreciated. The mattress was kind of mushy, not the most comfortable for my old, tired back. Upgrading the mattresses and using less fragrant cleaning products would bump this review to a five.

This Best Western is a bit dated - older items in rooms, etc. However, I would stay here before I would stay anywhere else in Las Cruces. Why? 1) The staff is 10/10 friendly and helpful; 2) the facilities are very clean and well kept; 3) the price is very fair; and 4) the parking is excellent and easy to navigate. I am very happy we found this hotel - it is our new "go to" in Las Cruces.

This is my favorite hotel in the country. It is charming. The rooms are spacious, very clean, comfortable. I like the decor - and everything works! This trip was no different. I had a good first-floor room with a nice TV, plenty of hot water, a comfy bed. I am vegan, so did not participate in the breakfast, but it looked good.

Not a destination place but good for an overnight stay while traveling. The staff was friendly and the breakfast selection was very good. The location was a ways off the freeway but worked out for us just fine.

Great customer service! Clean rooms and very decent complimentary breakfast. Person who helped us at check in was very courteous and friendly. She was able to accommodate all rooms in the same area. Also, hotel being Pet Friendly, that was a big plus.

This lovely property goes out of their way to ensure a great stay for both people and pets. Best (included) hotel breakfast I have enjoyed in quite some time. Clean rooms. Great staff at all levels. Easy to get our dog out for a walk in a safe, central area; waste bags provided; most other pet owners were also being respectful about picking up.

Beautifully remodeled and maintained older rooms that are spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful and the breakfast room attendant is very welcoming and helpful. The location is convenient to the interstate. This is a true gem!

A very pleasant surprise after two prior days travel at good hotels. The room was very well maintained with a classic southwestern theme. Thick adobe walls eliminated the noises we've experienced at most modern hotels. The breakfeast was outstanding as well as the dining room. Front desk staff (Rita) was very helpful and friendly. It is now on our must stay locations when traveling to Arizona.

The Mission Inn has an old world ambiance, centrally located in the Las Cruces area. This location is very convenient to both I-25 and I-10, as well as Hwy 70 which provides access to the Organ Mountains and White Sands.

Entering into the lobby gave us a welcoming feeling. Rita and Natalie at the front desk were AMAZING!! They answered any questions we had plus suggested place too see in and around the area. Breakfast was great Thank you Tracy, she walked around with a coffee pot incase you wanted to a top of coffee. GREAT EXPERIENCE all in all and would stay here again and again. Thank you!!

If I could give higher than 5 stars I would. I made a mistake when booking through a third party site and both owners supported me in changing to the correct date by advocating for me to not be penalized on the phone with that other company. They were patient, caring and warm through the process and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Thank you to Cynthia and Sam for being so welcoming! The rooms were clean and comfortable as well. If I pass through again I'll surely stay here!

The room was very clean and very comfortable, and the courtyard is beautiful. The parking is pretty small so parking can be a little difficult but my overall stay was great. Front desk staff was warm and welcoming.

Friendly, professional staff. Beautifully decorated, large breakfast area--like a small cafe. Outside of property was very well maintained. Room was spacious with furniture and decor that reflected the "Mission" style of the Inn. Exceptional attention to detail in cleaning and maintenance of the room. Couldn't have asked for a better experience,

Our stay at the Best Western Inn was very nice except for the fire alarm that kept going off in my mother's room as we returned from dinner out. We called the front desk and Junette was quick to come assess the situation. She got the alarm to go off, but after she'd left it went off again. Junette returned back to us and decided that she would not be able to rectify the situation and called a maintenance man who arrived within 20 minutes. While we were waiting for the gentleman to arrive Junette brought us waters and snack bags as a token of goodwill, which was very thoughtful of her, and appreciated. Once the maintenance man arrived, he replaced the battery in the fire alarm. That finally did the trick, and we enjoyed the remainder of the night in peace. We would definitely stay here again, as it was in a convenient location, and we were treated so well by Junette.

Clean, nice room. Well kept pool and grounds. No complaints Friendly, helpful staff. From the time we called we were treated with friendly helpful service. We had a trailer in tow and we're shown where we could park it. Beds were comfortable.

The hotel and staff were terrific. A very welcome respite after a much less than terrific experience the night before. The front desk staff gave excellent suggestions for a dinner and drinks. We will be stopping here again on our way back through.

Old folks doing home repairs needing local place to stay. Just finishing online res and called the Inn for info. Informed no “local” res are accepted. Owner policy. No exception. No explanation. I'm a BW rewards member to boot. Good to know.

If you're looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay with friendly, helpful staff, this is your place. The rates are excellent, breakfast is good, and everything is clean and comfortable. We've stayed here multiple times and have always had great experiences.

This hotel is great. Beautiful room and very helpful staff. But if you're hoping to use your streaming service, I hope you brought a computer because the TVs are locked to not allow USB or HDMI use. But aside from the lack of user friendliness it's a great place.

This was a great stay! We were able to book a suite for the same reasonable price as a regular room and wished we could have stayed to enjoy all the space longer. The front desk staff was helpful in directing us to good restaurants that were likely still open. Internet connection was good. Breakfast had lots of options - eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt, etc and good coffee. Location is ranked 4/5 because it's on the end of town that seemed to be away from where most of the restaurants were. It worked for us since we were just passing through, and the town isn't that big so I think it would still be a good place even if you were staying to visit.

Typical hotel not much to say. Did find 2 spiders in the bathroom as well as a Gecko!! Love the gecko but not spiders! Staff was friendly and accommodating. Very busy hotel. On a okay area close to a lot of stuff like gas stations and restaurants.

This is what I really like about a hotel. It had everything a quite room, great breakfast, friendly staff, everything that met my expectations. I just can't say enough about this motel. I will recommend this to my family and friends. I definitely will come again

This is a wonderful BW in Las Cruces the Mission Inn, with a very friendly staff, and charming SW decor and dining area. Great hot breakfast, and staff very friendly and willing to go the extra mile. Highly recommended if you are traveling through Las Cruces, and also super affordable at least in July!

Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was the best I have had in the last year at a hotel. Front desk staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Great green area for doggies complete with trash can and extra bags. Hotel was clean and grounds are well maintained.

Warmly welcomed, nice room, clean, overall good experience. Breakfast was ok, but a bit odd. You have to check in at the front desk, get a piece of paper legitimizing your meal, & then hand it over to the staffer who is 15' away. I understand that they are trying to control who eats there, but there should be another way. With everyone trying to check out at the same time as getting those slips of paper it's a bit awkward. It's hard to get to from I-25, easy from I-10 if that makes a difference.

This property is far above average in every way. Excellent staff. Really neat property with unique decor and southwestern atmosphere. Great hot breakfast in a nice dining area. Clean pool. Really just an excellent value and experience. We will return here whenever we are in the area.

This hotel was perfectly located as we explored Las Cruces and surrounding area. The rooms were spacious and the entire facility was very clean and well cared for. We especially enjoyed the breakfast room and front desk staff, they were friendly and helpful.

The common space is so relaxing. Shady cool grassy retreat near pool and handy to all rooms (great place to meet others). Also, the breakfast was SO much better than just “continental” with two kinds of meat (one was always turkey, which was appreciated) and eggs every morning. Fresh fruit too!

I was surprised by the size of the room. It was very easy to check in and check out. It was easy to find. It is dog friendly. I was somewhat disappointed with the parking. I will plan on staying here again.

This is a wonderfully maintained and exceptionally clean facility. It was apparent that this level of cleanliness was the norm. The room was spacious with a unique layout. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was attended by a long time employee.

This is the 3rd time I have stayed here. Good freeway access, large rooms as this is an older property. I was on the second floor and I bet on the first floor you could hear people in the room above you. The room heater didn't work properly. It was either on, or off, the temperature didn't work properly. There is a nice outdoor pool, and a great breakfast room that was once upon a time a restaurant. Breakfast was just o.k. I didn't think there selections were anything great, and the waffles came out really chewy, I threw it out. No usb plugs, limited electrical plugs

This facility offers an old southwestern, large log decor which is most difficult to dust; and is located just across the street from active train tracks offering much noise and vibration even in the rooms furthest away from the tracks. The bed duvet had multiple body fluid stains and very wrinkled sheets underneath. Management was quick to offer a 2 queen room but we were completely unloaded. She offered that the duvet was spot cleaned and the residue was cleaning solvent. She removed the duvet and returned with a clean set of sheets and an unused light weight blanket. Hubby remade the bed and with the sheets pulled taut there was a total opposite appearance from the unchanged linen from a previous guest. Breakfast reception was very militant and seemed guest safety was in question. Maybe locals had been walking in to buffet so the coupon method was started when really just ask to see the room key to enter the entitled meal. It was very unwelcoming. Worst Best Western experience and requested to talk with the manager. 36 hours later without response from him. will not be recommending this site.

Always a wonderful stay at BW Mission Inn. Clean, comfortable and friendly! The staff is amazing and breakfast is always delicious. We travel often to Las Cruces and this is our home away from home. Thank you!

A unique southwest style motel with spacious, clean rooms. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was decent with hot and cold selections. A nice lady working the room topping up coffee and helping guests. We relied on the positive reviews and they were all spot on. Would definitely recommend this oasis but if you have trouble with stairs make sure you ask for a room on ground level.

Our second time staying here in a year. It's a nice, quiet place with many of the rooms far off from the street. It's very clean. The rooms seem much bigger than standard. I'm particularly impressed with the staff. Everyone is incredibly nice. Of particular note Aaron, at front desk, is very welcoming and genuinely seems to be enjoying his job. I met him last year on our stay and was happy to see him again because he provides a smile and pleasant interaction after a long day in the road.

Check in was great. Super easy, fast and the attendant was SUPER friendly and helpful. I wish I recalled his name. I was a bit concerned about the area when we arrived but ended up feeling comfortable. We had a king suite which was located in the corner and very quiet.

Stayed one night on business. Was very pleased with the stay. Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. Hotel employees were very helpful and nice, they recommended places to eat. Check in and out was very easy.

Finally quality service and cleanliness at an affordable rate including a 5 star Hotel type breakfast. Quite and safe location tucked away from the busy part of town. Cleanliness of room.was amzing..typically my socks and shoes always remain on during motel stays, it was nice to be able to kick my shoes off and relax without fear of what I may be walking on.

They did a good job remodeling the place. (Used to be a well known drug user spot). But they are lacking in customer service. Right off the bat they hit u with a 250$ deposit as if I'm renting a new apartment. I don't like hotels that do this because they normally try to keep it anyway they can. When I went to the front desk to ask about it the manager had alrdy gone home for the day. Also don't stop here if u expect a laundry machine (I know, such a basic thing to be missing) cause they don't have any. Maybe they should focus less on stealing deposits from people and more on giving them things they need. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone and I won't be staying here again.

We were pleasantly surprised at how old and how well kept this Hotel was. Room was big,furnished with that southwest feel and clean. Front desk staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Great Hotel for a one night stay.

The rooms are large and beautifully decorated in a southwest mission style. It felt like we were staying in a Palm Springs resort, but we were paying a lot less! Even the large dining room for breakfast was superior to most other motels, and was staffed by friendly folks. Would definitely recommend this Best Western to anyone visiting Las Cruces!

I travelled solo and stayed here two different weekends. The first weekend the hotel was completely booked and I arrived at 10:30pm but there was still parking available (barely) and the check in process was smooth. I had a 2 Queen pet friendly room on the first (of 2) floors. Outside entrance to room, off a large courtyard with a grass center that had a pool and tables and chairs and lighting! I felt safe taking my dog out in the middle of the night. Room was basic, carpet in bed area, tile in bathroom area. A wall of windows meant I kept the curtains closed 99% of the time so the room was a bit dark. They did have lamps but it's a big room. Had a desk, chair, full dresser, mini fridge with freezer area, TV, iron, hair dryer, and basic toiletries. One bed was a bit soft, the other was firmer but both were comfortable. 4 pillows per bed meant I had 8 to choose from. I stayed again the following weekend in a King room, 1st floor, just down the row from my first room. Same size room, same amenities. This bed was very comfortable. 4 pillows. Free breakfast included - stop at the front desk to get a slip of paper to hand to the server. Breakfast was a very reasonable spread - same each of the 4 mornings. Hot food in buffet style was Scrambled Eggs, Sausages, biscuits, & gravy. They also had cereals, waffles, bagels, etc. and a fridge with juices. The only negative of note was that it is across the tracks from the train and it would go by about midnight. One night they honked their horn the whole time through town. But I only heard it once per stay so I don't know if it goes through more often than once a night. I would stay here again for sure.

This is one of our favorite places to stay in Las Cruces. The rooms are big and the service is great. Their breakfast is always hot and tasty. I also like the picnic area in the middle of the property and the pool. We will most likely continue to stay at this Best Western when in Las cruces.

Clean. Updated. Well-maintained. Safe. Comfortable. Quiet. Comfy beds. What more could you want? After a string of crummy motels on this trip, we were so happy to find this lovely motel. So happy to have found this property.

Rooms were more spacious than expected, and decor was well maintained vintage Southwest furnishings, in both the lobby and rooms. The dining area was spacious, warmly lit, and monitored by a young lady who was sweetly attentive to how food items were presented. Staff was very helpful. A ‘throwback surprise' was the sound, every few hours, of a passing train.. I slept through it at night, but perhaps some might not. Memories of my childhood. There was a pool, but its use was not part of our experience. This hotel was a nice place to relax after hiking at White Sands.

Great place a little hard to get to was close to restaurants and freeway staff was very pleasant and the breakfast was great . There was a lovely lady one the breakfast room really enjoyed how she engaged with the people and lagged a lot with us

Large rooms, friendly staff, and clean rooms. Enjoyed the pool for a brief, cold dip and a full breakfast in the morning. The room was quiet and we didn't hear anything beyond the train going through the middle of town.

Clean, comfortable room that is very well cared for. New mattress gave us a wonderful nights sleep. Great view of the mountains. Beautiful lawn and pool. There is a pet area, tables on the lawn for lounging or meals. Breakfast is served and the dining room with a nice variety to choose from.

This by far is the WORST experience I have ever had with BW!!! As a matter of fact I believe the management is possibly committing fraud. I booked the room online, having stayed at this property before since my son is attending college in Las Cruces. I booked this room using points (16,000) which I felt high because of the rooms as I remember them (not very clean and poorly maintained), but booked anyway. Upon arrival the desk person informed me I did not have a reservation for that night, that it was the night before and that I would have to call BW directly, which I did. The BW representative on the phone was very understanding and explained that the property management had the option of adjusting their system. She felt it was an online system error but that it could be fixed and offered to call the hotel management for me while I waited, which she did. When she came back on the phone she informed me that the management was unwilling to make the correction and that I was without a room and my points since they would refused to make the adjustment. While I was talking to her my wife who was sitting in the lobby close to the desk overheard the desk person informing another guest of the same scenario! Which leads me to believe there is possible fraud being done. She didn't hear the end of that interaction because we left the hotel and stayed at a Marriott property down the road. Even though he had told me earlier for another 16,000 points I could have a room, there was NO way I will ever stay there again!!! I remember seeing a sign on the wall behind the counter showing Krishna Enterprises as the management company. I hope that karma brings that company to justice.

Big roomy room, nice swimming pool that was cleaned daily. Great hot breakfast. Very reasonable room rate (except for the daily $20.00 pet fee). Friendly staff. Good location. Stayed for 6 nights. Grounds were kept nice. Went to visit family and school reunion.

From the style of the rooms, to the cleanliness, to the friendliness & courtesy of the staff, I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The breakfast was nice as well. I have stayed at many Best Western hotels, but this by far, was the absolute best one.

The hotel is very clean, friendly staff, extremely comfortable bed, delicious breakfast. Lots of selection. The parking is a bit of a challenge so you might have to unload and then move your vehicle elsewhere. We always like the pull up to your room option. We would definitely stay here again!!

We always enjoy staying at this hotel, because the quality is what you would expect for a Best Western, yet it feels like a unique local place. The rooms have a bit of southwestern flair, and the lobby/breakfast room are lovely. The staff is great, and the beds are comfortable. There is a train that goes by, but it has never bothered us, nor has it kept us from getting a good night's sleep. Highly recommend!

I just drove from San Francisco to the east coast, moving my son. This was by far the coolest hotel we stayed at. Positives: --great value --cool rooms --pet friendly --decent breakfast --clean --convenient access to major roads Cons --the bathroom could use a little maintenance (the shower head wobbled) and updating (an old toilet)

Once again, BW Mission Inn came through. We can always find a comfortable bed and pleasant experience when we stay here. The staff is friendly and always eager to help. We don't stay anywhere else when we're in New Mexico!

We always stay at Mission Inn during our roadtrips. Don't let the appearance of an older property fool you. The staff at Mission Inn work very hard to make sure the property is upkept, clean, and comfortable for their guests. It's a very good value. The staff is always friendly, rooms always clean, and the overall experience is quiet and tranquil. We love this hotel. The only thing I could bring up that "could" be a con would be that the beds are on the firmer side, so if you're someone that likes a softer bed keep that in mind. We will always stay here when in Las Cruces!

Our room was neat and clean, the pool was clean, the grounds were well kept. Staff in the office were very helpful and provided local information to us regarding dog friendly resturants. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

very sensible solution for overnight stay after visit to white sands national park before going north to alboquerque and santa fe. the food of breakfast is fine. the room is very large and cozy. also the location is great.

This is a very nice Hotel with clean rooms and a good breakfast, but it is way too close to an active train. The train tracks are about 300 feet from the hotel and the train goes by every hour all day and night and it blows the horn while it's passing. We were unable to get a good night's sleep because of being jarred awake by the train horn several times each night. We won't be staying here again

Based on previous reviews and mention of a train, a room towards the back of the complex was requested. The room was about halfway back. A nice location near the pool and courtyard. Extremely spacious. The only thing I would have liked would be a shelf in the closet area. Not necessary, just for more convenience. My daughter and I were in town for orientation at NMSU. The location is easy to get in and out of and navigate to the university. Breakfast was standard hotel fare of scrambled eggs, sausage and bread varieties and fruit. The staff (we encountered 5 over two days) were all very friendly and helpful. If you are a light sleeper, pack earplugs as even with a room towards the back you can hear the train. Didn't bother me, I had earplugs. :-)

Coming back from visiting people can be exhausting as fun as it was ! We left later than planned from CA, and having a full car, stops needed to be made. The first great experience was when I realized we wouldn't be there till much later. I called, and MIRA was so helpful and made sure all details were covered so there would be minimal to do when we did get there. Luckily, I got to meet her when we did arrive. We had the quickest check in, and she made it so we had a bottom floor double queen accessibility for our dog too, so we wouldn't have to climb the stairs. At first glance when you pull up its rustic/themed and older than your standard hotel (like the ones next to the freeway) but when you walk into your room you are greeted with a clean spacious room, updated with lifted comfy beds plenty of lighting and all the amenities (tv fridge, microwave and coffee pot) everything is really put together down to the towels around the sink! We only stayed for just under 12 hrs but slept so well, and when we drive out to see family again, we will definitely stay there!

It was clean, ok pricing. Check in person was super friendly and nice and since a room was available allowed us to check in a little early which was great since we had just been driving 11 hours straight and he gave us a list of restaurants nearby. We did go during a heat wave and the dated air conditioning couldn't really keep up. There was a sign in the room that pool towels were available pool side, but if you need towels, you'll need to actually go to the front desk and sign for them, they are very small towels (just an update to the sign in the room would be nice, we ended up going into the pool and not noticing towels so had to walk dripping wet into the cold front lobby). Breakfast was a normal continental breakfast. I was happy to see biscuits and gravy but be aware, the gravy is so salty it is inedible, we were there for 3 breakfasts and it was salty each time, hopefully they adjust their seasonings.

The rooms are big and comfortable and very quiet,I would recommend this hotel because of its overall appearence and close proximity to the interstate.The breakfast is about average for a best western sponsered hotel.It is certinatly much better than Shurestay brand.

My room was extremely clean, comfortably furnished and everyone was well-mannered and efficient. The breakfast was really good too and the attendant kept items restocked and everything clean. All of the staff was polite and professional.

Overnight stay after a long day driving across AZ & NM. An older location, but the room was big, clean & cozy. Loved the wood beams on the ceiling and the spacious bathroom area. Convenient to alot of dining options. I'd stay there again.

Great customer service and super clean room made for a great stay. My spot in Durango,CO from now on !! We were treated really well,the room was spotless and breakfast was excellent. Food was at separate stations around the room and it made it easy to get the items you wanted without being crowded. EXCELLENT !!

This hotel will be our future choice in Las Cruces. The room was spotless and smelled fresh. Though fixtures like the toilets were older, they were in perfect working order and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was tasty. If you want a value room, this is the place.

A pet friendly motel that was clean and had no smells. Great mission feeling in the room and well maintained. Breakfast was hit and well stocked. Staff worked hard to maintain health cleaning protocols.

We stayed 2 nights. The room was huge because it's an old fashioned Route 66 type hotel with parking in front. The rooms are so large they used to have back doors for the downstairs rooms with parking in the back, but for security reasons the back doors have been sealed. Very nice and clean. Quiet for the most part. There is a train but it didn't disturb us. Staff is friendly and kind. Free hot breakfast was delicious with a variety. Very happy with the service. We would stay there again. Thank you for the hospitality!

Very big rooms that were clean, quiet and had comfortable beds. Dog friendly and large common area for the dogs to enjoy some outside time. The staff was super friendly, quick check in and a nice breakfast as well. Very inviting dining and lobby area. Near enough to I-10 but not too close, quick trip to the Mesilla area We really enjoyed our stay.

Large rooms and high ceilings on the original ground floor rooms. They added the second story in the 60s. Stay here, you won't be disappointed. The bathroom door in my ground floor room had the original 1948 hinges and still working properly. The breakfast area is very nice and the staff are the best.

Beautiful hotel. Great (huge) clean dog area, well lit, close to I-10 for travel. Wonderfully decorated rooms, great Cafe, super beds, CLEAN and secure. Professional staff: very friendly, knowlegable of area, well groomed and helpful. Great room for price.

We really liked this place even though it's in a commercial area and right across from tracks with night trains. It's an old classic roadside motel from an earlier era, but is super clean with spacious rooms and a great breakfast. The lack of USB ports, walkable neighborhood and train whistles during the night were a downside. Give this place a try, though.

My family and I stayed here for a few days during spring break. This place has good ratings and was one of the most economical for staying multiple nights. Front desk service was exceptional. Both individuals I spoke with were pleasant and helpful. The location was fine for us, but if you are a light sleeper you will definitely hear the the train passing through.

We stood in the suite which was very spacious for 2 adults and 2 children. It was very clean for being an old hotel, but it had its charm. The only thing I didn't like was that it had 1 TV and it was in the livingroom. I would have liked a TV on the bedroom so I can lay down while the kids are in the livingroom. The room had an open floor plan that I didn't like. Because it didn't give too much privacy.

We stayed here one night (March 1, 2022). We must have arrived at peak check-in, the young lady was very nice. We were third in line to check-in, everyone was patient. It was clean, good bed, nice breakfast. The breakfast attendant was awesome. They are close to LaPosta which was nice for us, as we planned to have dinner there. We would stay again.

We stayed here two different times. We traveled with our dog and wanted an outside entry. The staff is responsive and friendly. The furnishings simple yet inviting. The lobby is welcoming. Finally - the breakfast was well organized, staff attentive to cleanliness and the dining area relaxing.

Great prices, yes, but the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff is what makes it home-like. Mira, the night clerk, went out of her way to ensure a gift card was applied correctly, and Aaron, the morning front desk clerk, was so pleasant and helpful I almost regretted having to leave! We wanted to visit the Carlsbad Caverns and chose Best Western for their consistent good serviceand comfortable lodging. This Mission Inn was convenient to enjoying local sites and was terrific value for price of the rooms. Covid restructions are in place with masking, sanitizer; we felt very comfortable.

The internet never worked and they don't clean your room. The management doesn't communicate with their customers and are not helpful. The bathroom don't have fans and the shower steams up the room unless you open the small bathroom window.

Find another place to stay. The rooms are smelling and gross. The bed is lumpy. The shower goes hot and cold and there is so much mineral build up that the water sprays all over. Ants in the room. Motel is the worst Best Western we have stayed at.

We've stayed at many different hotel properties over the past year, and really appreciate the unique, roomy layout and decor of this property - very homey! We enjoy an exterior entrance to our room, which makes it easier to load and unload our belongings and our dog, and this one felt safe. There was also a more doggie-friendly outdoor space here than we find at most hotels, in a courtyard-like setting. The free breakfast was more substantial than most we've encountered recently, which we appreciated. Most important was the friendliness of all the staff we encountered- So important! Thanks, Best Western Mission Inn, for a great stay!

The Best Western Mission at Las Cruces reminded me of an old style wonderfully decorated hotel. Time had been spent in lovely details - beams in the ceiling, pool in a courtyard, comfortable beds and a list of retaurants nearby sort by time of food - mexcian, chain, italian, thai etc. They had a cipy of USA Today on hand. The waitress at breakfast went the extra mile in consideration as did the clerk at the desk. All just lovely.

The Best Western Mission Inn in Las Cruces is an older motel in that our parents and grandparents stayed there throughout the years. Given that, it is extremely clean, which to us, is of paramount importance. The rates are great and you'll note when you go out to your car every morning that the large parking lot is always full, a sure sign of a nice motel. The free breakfast is the standard fare for a motel in this price range. During this pandemic, you have to request room service for those on an extensive stay, but that is totally understandable. if you want to have your room serviced, all you have to do is call the front desk, the day before, and they cheerfully service the room. You can always go to the front desk for fresh towels and other room items that you may need. The entire staff are welcoming and truly want you to feel at home. We go to Las Cruces often and would not stay at another motel.

Traveling from AZ to FL we decided that we need a break from the road. So, my wife and our 2 furry babies were welcomed and were able to get a nice night's rest. Additionally, the southwestern feel of the property made it an even better experience.

This is a great hotel! We loved the decor in the rooms and lobby. Comfortable beds, large rooms and a great hot breakfast! The staff and owner were very courteous and everything was clean and well kept.

I was driving from San Diego to Austin and needed a night to break the journey after driving 600+ miles! This place was very conveniently located. Room was very clean/new and I had an excellent sleep. Breakfast was very expansive with several hot and cold items. Will stay again!

We were traveling at Christmas time to Houston and back to CA. Houston our stay at different hotel was horrid ! Got to Las Cruses and stayed at Mission Inn Best Western. Has Best staff dog friendly best rooms cleanliness best service best breakfast best price! Have already decided to use only Best Westerns for traveling thanks!

The room was far better than some of the more highly rated Best Western "Plus" properties. We loved the large retro window overlooking the courtyard. The breakfast service had numerous options and was served in a lovely room.

Stayed two nights and enjoyed our stop. Aaron at front desk was welcoming and friendly. Room was big, clean and quiet. We lived the decor and courtyard. Breakfast was in a big room that didn't feel crowded. The food was standard BW fare and too be honest after a week on road (staying at BWs) gets a bit unappealing. But if you don't mind it there was plenty of it. Staff at breakfast station and house keeping were great too. We easily drove to White Sands and nearby Alamogordo for a nice day trip.

I will be there to stay again in a couple days I love the fact I was able to take my pet with me very pretty rooms and clean .. I will be doing my last review in a couple days , I recommend this stay for family with pets or not

What an awesome jewel!!! The staff was very genuine & caring. I loved the room. Very clean, comfortable, variety of different types of pillows on each bed to meet the comfort needs of their guests. This Best Western is an older property with well maintained spacious rooms. We found it to be a good value compared to newer hotels in the Las Cruces area. The rooms are nothing fancy, but we appreciated the southwestern touches, and everything was clean and in good shape.

What a welcoming inn this is! From the warm greeting at the front desk to the large, clean room with classic SW accents and art, combined with the new tile and bathroom this is a very nice place to stay. Only issue was the height of the beds - they were up there! Outside is a lovely tree-shaded courtyard with a couple of tables for the nice weather, and a fenced-in pool, now closed for the season. A full breakfast is offered in the warm beautiful dining room cafe, everything is clean and tidy and a very pleasant woman on the staff came around to refill our coffee cups and chat awhile. We certainly will be back! Just under an hour north is the White Sands National Park, a visit is not to be missed, they even have sleds to slide down the dunes. Check that there will be no Missle Testing happening, they close the Park then.

We loved this classic, well maintained hotel. Beamed ceiling, newer carpet, pine furniture, spacious room with a great bed. Wished we were able to spend more than one night. Personnel were friendly and helpful.

We stopped here on our trip from Texas, to see the kids in California. Re ally enjoyed the "feel of the motel", and when we take the trip again ( and the RETURN trip) this will be our go to spot. Only problem.......we slept in and missed breakfast

From the outside it looks like a 60's throwback but don't let that fool you, the rooms were very clean and the dining area was very nice. Enjoyable. Highly recommend if traveling on IH10 passing through.

Overall the property is not bad, but it is in a semi-remote area along railroad tracks. I have stayed here twice now, and will stay again due to the rooms being clean, the great staff and the great value.

This motel is a regular stop for us when traveling along I-10. It is an easy off and on to the interstate. We have always found the facility to be wonderfully maintained and the staff has been very pleasant and informative.

Nice, comfortable and quiet. Rooms were very stylish, with the rustic decor. We really enjoyed our stay here! We had our pet with us and were conveniently located on first floor, near exit doors, for dog duties and leaving.

Hotel was OK for price range but could not come close to comparing with the La Quinta Inn we stayed at the night before. Room had strong odder when we opened the door. Seems the older Best Western hotels have this problem. Beds were OK. TV picture was a let down.

Beautiful room with southwestern look snd feel. Clean, comfortable bed. Park-like grounds with grassy area for grill and pool. Breakfast more than expected. Desk attendant knowledgeable and helpful. Wish we could have extended our stay. We will return!

The beautiful Mission Inn is tucked away in a quiet part of the city. The rooms are very large and clean with a SW flair, with is a larger than normal refrigerator There is ample parking for RVs and the grounds are nicely manicured with picnic tables and a courtyard. The hot buffet breakfast has the typical items and the server kept everything well stocked. Although there are train tracks nearby, it did not prevent us from a good nights sleep. We would definitely stay again.

Classic western themed hotel with nice grounds, all outdoor entrances, and a lovely room for breakfast. Such a plesant night's stay for a great price in a good stopping location. Quiet, clean, comfort.

This is an older property that is good only for nostalgic reasons. Beds are uncomfortable and this place "offers", free of charge!!, extremely noisy trains at various times of the night. It doesn't matter which room you get; IT IS FREAKING NOISY AND WILL WAKE YOU UP. I will never stay here again.

Although the INN is older, it has been maintained beautifully. It has a charm many newer hotels do not have. The staff is both friendly and competent. The rooms are very clean, quiet, large and have everything you need. The breakfast is delicious with many different offerings and the lady who was in charge the day we were there was nothing short of amazing.

Hotel is very nice with some NM flare! Downside is the internet is very poor, TV wasn't great either. Breakfast was good with a very nice dining area. Great pool area in a well maintained courtyard area. Rooms are very clean though the mattress was older and somewhat stiff. Not an expensive stay though so overall it was a decent value.

We were driving Houston to Phoenix and back for a business conference and I reserved Mission Inn BW because of the great reviews, and we stayed in Las Cruces many years ago on a trip. The first floor room was very large and comfortable. On the return trip we hoped to make it farther but weather and nightfall had us stop again and I used the app to reserve it. We called prior but the app gave a much better price. We got the last room they had. The 2nd floor room design was okay but we preferred 1st floor.

We stayed here for two nights while visiting White Sands and Organ Mountains Desert Peaks National Monument. It is a two-story motel that is beautifully kept up. We thought it might be loud because of the doors opening to the outside and the large lawn space where people could gather, but it was quiet. The only noise we heard was the freight train blowing its horn at night, but once I heard it once, I was able to go back to sleep because I wasn't in danger of the train running through the room. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated with a comfortable chair, a desk, coffee maker, and refrigerator and microwave hidden in a decorative cabinet, and a dresser with plenty of storage. Attractive art was displayed on the walls. A half wall divides the sink area and a larger space to hang your clothes. The toilet and bathtub and shower are in a separate area. The bed was exceptionally comfortable as were the linens. We were not able to park in front of our room because we left for dinner, but we were able to park a few spaces away. Breakfast is run with Covid protocols. You report to the small restaurant, and a woman marks off your name and gives you a ticket to take to your table. You are then free to visit the breakfast area, which had the usual powdered eggs disguised as scrambled eggs and biscuits that clearly were thawed instead of being recently made. A variety of other options were available including cereal, hard boiled eggs and waffles. It wasn't crowded while we ate so we were not uncomfortable with a lot of people dining indoors. Every employee we encountered was friendly and professional. We would definitely stay here again.

Check in was ok. didn't thank us for being a member as all other ones have. After unpacking and realizing the refrigerator didn't work we were moved to another room. The next day the smoke alarm starting beeping. We went to the front desk who informed us they would be there within the hour. Three hours later they showed up. The beeping was so bad we went out after 2 hours and bought a battery ourselves. Everything was fine. At midnight the alarm failed and we didn't sleep well. It didn't make any sense to report it because no one was going to able to replace a failed smoke detector at midnight. Pool was not very clean. The only good part of this stay was the breakfast.

Exceeding expectations, very large room, excellent breakfast, clean hotel, great pool area, loved Las Cruces! The bathtub stopper didn't work but the incredible shower-head/water pressure made up for it

This is a very nice motel, with a good location near I-10. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was served and was typical, but good. Check-in was easy, and the staff was friendly. The only problem we had was the brown water that came out of the tub. It eventually turned clear. When I told the front desk about it at check-out he said it was because they had been working on the water main. That would have been useful information when we checked in.

The whole place needs a make over and brought up to date. My wife is still giving a very hard time. And wont let me make it up to her. It was our Anniversary 34years. This place needs a real Best Western remodeling.

Very clean, spacious room. Nicely decorated; we wished we could take the furniture home…lol. Large bathroom with separate dressing area. Beds were firm, but comfortable. Was really quiet; we heard no traffic noise, no slamming doors, no sound from other guests all night. Could definitely use a larger parking area with more spaces; it's a little tricky to maneuver through the parking lot, especially if you have a large vehicle. But, overall, a nice place. We would stay here again.

Except for the train that came by once. Nice facility, great breakfast, away from a lot of traffic and close to the freeway. The staff were exceptionally helpful with directions, recommendations for where to eat. We will stay here again.

This motel is close to Mesilla. It is close to a railroad track but we heard only one train. It is older but clean and big room and big bathroom. There is a pool but we did not use it. We found it comfortable and beds were good. They have a hot breakfast that was good.

This is a nicely located motel/hotel. Nothing fancy but the lobby was cute and the breakfast was very good. The eating area was spacious. As always the bed was very comfortable. It's location to Mesilla is great.

I had a 2 queen suite. It was the strangest motel room I have ever been in. To the right of the door was the living room, and then you went down a long hall to bathroom #1. To the left of the door was the bedroom area with two queens. Then you went down a hall to bathroom #2. There was a tv in the living room but none in the bedroom area (and the tv was not viewable from the bed). As I was staying by myself it was wasted space, but if you have teenagers who spend a year in the shower and like to primp in front of the mirror, this is YOUR room. Bathroom #1 has a space outside the toilet/shower area for just such activities. It would have been nice to have been able to watch TV in bed though. There is a couch and loveseat (room for 5) plus a work desk area in the living room. A large family would love it.

I travel across the country: a lot! And I have stayed in many different BWs along the way. Mission is one of my favorites, and it's not just the mountain view at sunset, it's the employees: they are kind and respectful and always willing to find a solution. This hotel has a cabin feel, it's homey. The rooms are large, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean, and there are plenty of places to get food or go out for a day trip (white sands, organ mountain, volcanos, rock hunting.) Now I don't really go out at night, but being a professional woman who travels both alone and with my family. I find the hotel safe and far enough from El Paso area that I don't worry. Word of advice: stay in the back building on the second floor, open the window (your welcome.)

Bring your own bug spray for all the little black flies in the room . When I reported it to the clerk , he said they were probably gnats and they have them all the time . The air conditioner sounded like a 747 taking off all night . The pool was a mess , cloudy and full of leaves . After having driven over 600 miles that day and with the same coming up the next day , we were in no mood to repack and move to another room . Went to bed and left early the next morning .

The check in was great. Very friendly and efficient staff. The rooms are excellent. They are clean and comfortable with room to move around. The beds are outstanding including the pillows. Great hot breakfast with good choices. The outdoor pool was very satisfying after 30 hours on the road. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone, single or family.

The beds were so uncomfortable. After 10 hours of driving I just wanted decent sleep before having to drive 10 more. Thankfully breakfast had plenty of options which was the best part. I wouldn't recommend or return to this hotel.

was charged $250 (Two Hundred Fifty Dollars) for smoking in a non-smoking room..I DON'T SMOKE AND NEITHER DOES MY WIFE!! my reservation was for a NON-Smoking room and that's what we got.. The manager AARON did not send a receipt for the hotel bill or the additional FRAUDULENT charge and will not remove the charge. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

Have been on the road for close to 4 months; this is one of the top 3 hotels I have stayed; very clean, nice spacious room, for COVID a great breakfast and very fair price. I will make it a point to stay here again when in the area.

The hotel was clean and appropriately designed for the decor of the area. The front desk manager made the stay memorable. He had excellent orientation to customer experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

We've stayed at the Best Western Mission Inn twice this year and were impressed both times. During the pandemic last spring we were impressed by how careful they were. They are pet friendly, have an attractive setting, and decor that reflects New Mexico's heritage - all at a reasonable cost!

Almost never have I stayed at a place and had it be better than advertised but that's what I experienced with Best Western Mission Inn/Las Cruces. It's certainly an older place but it was spotlessly clean and obviously well cared for. The grounds are immaculate and the pool area was nicer than the photo I saw - very comfortable. The room have been renovated and although not fancy by any means, very well done. I usually see paint splatters, poorly done tile work and carpeting that was not laid well - not the case here. We got a "queen suite" which was actually 2 standard rooms that they connected. Very spacious, well laid out and, bonus!, 2 bathrooms. We also witnessed the hotel host help an elderly couple up with their bags - very polite person and over the top service. We did not have their breakfast but people we spoke with said it was very good and I believe it. Not an expensive place and definitely not high end but a very good price, clean and well maintained.

After the worst day of travel I checked in and was upset because someone parked in front of my room. When I opened my door I was soo happy! This room was so comfortable and clean. The bed and pillows were beyond comfortable. I had the best sleep ever. I like that it was quiet and I felt very safe. There was a nice grassy area for my pup to use. There were toiletries and everything to make coffee. I will always stay here as I travel between AZ an NM.

If you don't mind dusty, aging decor that looks like it's from the '70s and hideously uncomfortable mattresses, this is the place for you. I was worried Javier Bardem was going to break in and slaughter me like a cow. So we left. This property is across the street from the train tracks, so if you stay here, stay in a rear unit.

The room was clean and spacious. There was no drain stop for the bathtub and nothing available from the front desk either, but the front desk person did make an effort to find something that could be used. It was nice that they were offering a hot breakfast even though a room I paid $20 more for the night before in another town was still just giving a bagged breakfast.

We stay at this hotel because it's about halfway between our family in Texas and our home in California. We've never been disappointed! Spacious, clean rooms, comfy beds, and wonderful service makes it a joy to stay here.

We have stayed several times at this motel. It is convenient to the interstate and although, it has been here for many years, it is maintained well and quite reasonable with its rates. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

My hotel room was very comfortable, clean, and decorated in New Mexico style. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved the courtyard with tables and chairs to sit outside in the shade. Every hotel on this road trip gave me a "to go" breakfast with granola bars, bananas, etc. because of the pandemic. This hotel had a full hot breakfast, and and nice dining area to enjoy it.

Staff at check-in was friendly and helpful, especially concerning the morning traffic. Of course the beautiful, clean room was so welcoming and comfortable; just what we've come to expect and get from Best Western. The next morning, Aaron gave me the Rewards phone number so I can check on my account while traveling. Mira, at the breakfast area, was so wonderful accommodating my milk allergy: she told me which hot items already had milk in them and got almond milk for my cereal. She did all this with the most beautiful smile on her face. We will remember THIS hotel on our yearly cross country trek! A big thank you to all at this site!

This hotel is clean and was fine to stay in. The night staff was great. Friendly and helpful after a long day in the car. The bed was super firm, I did not sleep well, when I told the day manager he didn't seem to care. That was not cool! He should have better customer service skills. Food was average. The train was loud but did not bug us during the night.

The front desk staff very friendly and professional. As for the room very unique and very clean. Also A+ because they have truck parking available for those who travel like me and need the space to park. Overall great service and experience.

It's a small Best Western from an older time but the beds and bathrooms are updated and nice. The room was very clean. The rest of the furniture is older rustic and pretty old but it still works. This keeps the price affordable though since everything isn't brand new. The grounds though small is restful, shady and park like. The location is a little off the beaten track but it's not far off the highway and it's on Main Street so one way is downtown and the other is the freeway, not too hard to figure out. It is true it's across from the train tracks but I only heard the trains a couple times, it is not a major railroad line and it's not nonstop or relentless noise. I personally like the nostalgia of a train a couple times preferred to constant freeway noise. The pool looked nice, they kept it clean, but didn't have time to try it or the breakfast.

Bottom line first here: I would not stay at this hotel again. On the plus side, the room was clean and generally comfortable. That's the end of the good news about this particular Best Western. On the minus side: 1. Check-in was slow. S-L-O-W. Really, really slow. After a day of traveling, about the last thing that anyone wants to deal with is a check-in process that takes close to half an hour. 2. This hotel is located directly on a busy railroad line. There was an extremely loud (as in room-shaking loud) train that passed by right around midnight. 3. The wifi at this hotel works very poorly. My 1996 dial-up service was faster than this hotel's wifi. 4. The television service interrupted twice during the evening--just completely stopped working. When we reported this to the front desk, the answer we got was "Well, that happens around here. Just wait and eventually it will come back." That was true, mind you, but who wants to wait for 10-20 minutes for the TV to come back on?! 5. Much of the clientele of this hotel, at least on the night was REALLY trashy. People were sitting on fold-out chairs in the middle of the parking lot, actually drinking beer, just to pass time. Management seems to think that this is acceptable. As a guest of this property, I do not.

We stayed here a couple nights last weekend. The desk clerk was helpful and check in was a breeze. Our room was large and comfortable. The bed was comfy and it was relatively quiet. This hotel has an outdoor picnic area that is shaded and a nice outdoor pool. Microwave and fridge in the room.

We have been traveling across country and this is by far the best experience we had with a hotel!. Everyone does everything they can to ensure you love your visit to their hotel. Best Western should be proud to have this hotel in their group. 100% quality

The design, the upkeep, the hospitality, the location, all make for a pleasing place to stay. Very much a blend of past and present. It is not often we want to simply stay and relax on the property. We hope to be back!

I stayed in a king room and it was incredibly spacious! Room was clean and I liked the decor - exposed beams, tile framed mirror, tall windows. And I believe the tile floor in the bathroom was heated! I was initially concerned the hotel would be too far from the interstate, but it was not far and access was easy. Would def stay here again!

Stayed on a Tuesday night with most of the rooms booked. Had a wonderful stay with a comfortable bed and clean room. Breakfast was a treat with real eggs and delicious sausages. The only drawbacks were the pool was closed due to to COVID and the driveway needed resurfacing. Service personnel were very helpful.

Rooms are spacious. The place is dated but towels and sheets are new and not worn. Staff are friendly and take pride in their jobs. Excellent value and service. A big plus in this post Covid world is the hot food breakfast sitting down in the dining room instead of a grab and go cold Jimmy Dean sandwich. The food is served by a staff on to your plate so the food is kept safe from guests. The tables are spaced out. A year ago, I would never have imagined raving about a hotel breakfast. Kudos to BW Mission Inn for this treat.

Courtyard closed but open space in middle of grounds with tables/chairs/benches. Decent hot breakfast with attendant serving. Many takeaway pre packaged cold items available. Reasonable night pricing. Rating of 3 based on fact this is a 2 star facility.

The Mission Inn is one of the finest motels of the hundreds I've stayed at. The staff is very friendly and efficient, the grounds are very nice with a landscaped area near a fountain and pool for sitting or picnicking, the rooms are large and well appointed, we found it quite quiet, and the breakfast during the COVD rules excellent with hot eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy as well as cereal and bakery..

This nice and clean “old style” motor inn is so tidy and clean. The decor is charming. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable. I loved being able to walk my little dog out in the courtyard. The grounds were very well maintained. The lobby and desk personnel were friendly and helpful. My only complaint was the breakfast. I know it's all about Covid restrictions, but one little carafe of coffee 3/4 empty for the whole hotel?? That was very disappointing!!

We were pleasantly surprised with the room. Very clean and the bed was super comfy. I'd like to know where they bought their pillows because it was soft but didn't flatten at all throughout the night. Jack at the front counter was very nice and personable. Breakfast was fine, just some things to take with you like pastries or a fruit cup. With covid, a lot of places don't even try to serve breakfast so we were happy with what we got. For the price, the few things wrong were worth it. If I'm knit picking, the shower temperature was very finicky but the pressure was great and we got the temp right after a few minutes of trying. The channel up button on the remote didn't work, who cares I just scrolled down instead. That's really it, and it wasn't even worth mentioning. The air conditioning worked great and was pretty quiet. I would definitely stay here again if I'm back in the area!

Great friendly service . The western look was nice. The grass courtyard was also nice There were a bit of small ants near the vanity sink. There was no vent in the bathroom . The Grab and go breakfast was good, there was a variety

What a preserved gem. Huge room with SW flavor. The room was quiet, clean, comfortable, friendly staff, and does offer a nice COVID breakfast. Not in a busy part of town. Nice pool. Would stay here again.

Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. They were welcoming as well. First I will say the room was clean and in working order. The issue was as soon as you open the door your hit with the “old dingy” smell. Something to be aware of, but not really something the property can fix, at 2 in the morning I got headlights right in my eyes as hard as I tried to make sure there wasn't a crack in the blinds...

This property vastly exceeded my expectations. The room have been remodeled; exterior is carefully maintained. Very clean. OK, this is an older property with some classic touches like the knotty pine furniture. But the rooms have a warm feel. Staff is genial and accommodating. Very approachable general manager mans the front on many mornings. It was a 2 night stay; I truly wish I could have stayed a bunch longer.

Best Western Mission Inn is a great place to stay while in the Las Cruces area. Beds are comfy, rooms are large and amenities are offered. We like stopping here when driving home between Central Texas and Riverside.

The Best Western Mission Inn is our favorite stop while on a road trip along the I-10. It's always clean -- especially during COVID -- and an easy in and out with direct access to the outdoors from your room.

This hotel is cheap, and quality. The grab and go breakfast was the best I've seen in COVID, and the staff was helpful. The only bad thing is the toilets are too close to the wall. Nothing that can be done about it, but just kind of inconvenient.

This property is older however it does not feel or look old. This is a very clean and well run establishment. We will absolutely stay here in the future. The grounds are very clean. The room was very clean and comfortable.

We stayed at Best Western while returning to Arizona for the winter. We like a two story building and like ground floors for convenience. We also like a well lit parking area so we can keep watch of our vehicle. When we first drove up to the office, the parking lot was not well lit and we weren't going to stay. But we drive around the building and saw that indeed most areas had a light close to the parked vehicles. I went in to register for a room and ask if we could have a room and park our vehicle in front of the window that had a lit area. The receptionist was so friendly and helpful. She gave us a room on the first floor with a parking space. When we walked into the room, we were pleasantly surprised with the beautiful pine furniture and the size of the double room. The bathroom area was as big as some rooms we have stayed in. We liked the idea of the shower and toilet in a separate room from the sink. The closet was huge. The room was very clean, the beds were very comfortable and the shower had lots of hot water. Too bad about the breakfast which was a sack breakfast, fruit and yogurt was available too. The before COVID breakfast sounded awesome. The other concern was the train track across the street. I only heard two but my family heard three. But it was not highway traffic all night. We will stay again if we need to stay in Las Cruces.

Clean, out of the way of heavy traffic, lots of parking for cars and tractor trailers and other vehicles. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They keep it very clean everywhere. Restaurant's are 3-5 minutes away.

This is a diamond in the rough. This place was suggested while have a vehicle repaired. We had some large vehicles/trailers and there was ample parking for them all. It has a wonderful pet area. The rooms are very clean and plenty space for the crew (family & pets) we had. The 1st time we were able to enjoy the breakfast. The 2nd time was during a holiday, which they had grab & go bags. All in all, this is definitely our go to place during our travels. The staff gave us a warm greetings for being weary travelers, They were very helpful & knowledgeable to get from the interstate (which was not far off the beaten path). Can't wait to stay again & get to do some touring in Las Cruces, NM.

This is a Best Western gem. We stayed 1 night on either end of a driving trip and found it quiet and very clean. Hot water was plentiful and the heat worked well on 20 degree nights. We always count on a good bed and a good night's sleep and we weren't disappointed. The grab and go breakfast worked well for us to stay covid-free and start the day early. The rooms were spacious and the grounds are well-kept and attractive.

The first thing I noticed was how quiet it was, even though the hotel was full of guests the first few days. Bed was comfortable, room was immaculate. We were grateful for the fridge and microwave in the room. I can say I felt well rested and extremely comfortable. Side note: Remember to tip housekeeping.

The shower faucet didn't work. My sister took a shower with super hot water could not control the hot or cold water at all. I took a shower with super cold water. I called the front desk 5 time to no response. In the morning I informed the front desk about our experience. His remarks I will let maintenance know. Breakfast supper cold including the eggs as they were hard like a rock.

This motel-style hotel is nicely decorated with large rooms and easy access to old Mesilla. Our room was very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again. Breakfast was simple due to COVID restrictions and was luke warm. That is probably not the norm under different circumstances.

We were on our way from Albuquerque to Carlsbad but decided that driving in the snow on I 40 was not a good idea. Turned out to be a good decision. We cancelled the room and got this one in Las Cruces. We stayed 2 nights. That was sight unseen so we didn't know what to expect. Turned out to be a good choice. It is a dated property but the place was clean and kept up pretty well. Our only problem was the gap in the door that the weather stripping didn't seal. The staff was great and they were helpful in finding a place to eat supper. The place was nice a quiet another plus. The price was great too. All in all a wonderful surprise when you take a shot in the dark. Wake up to snow and got the grab and go breakfast. It was good and we couldn't complain. We headed off to White Sands NP and that is only an hour away from here.

This is a charming motel with a retro feel, but a very high quality southwestern decor. The lobby was really comfortable, full of large hacienda style furnishings. The breakfast room was like a nice restaurant, with the same spanish colonial furniture. The breakfast was a nicely laid out buffet of warm eggs and meats, biscuits and gravy. it was served by friendly staff. My room was of the same standard, with tasteful southwestern furnishings, thick towels, big TV, and everything I needed for my stay. I will stay here again. I highly recommend it!

I cancelled another hotel because it was filthy and had dead bugs and stains. Came here, and Aaron at the desk not only gave me the cleanest room I have been in on the entire trip, but he also made a very stressful night a good one. The next day, I extended my stay for the week. The manager Surya (and his son Rohit) and I had a wholesome conversation about music and the arts, as well as he told me all about what to do in town and where to go. This was a proper welcome to Las Cruces, and I was very thankful to find this place. Also, the rooms themselves were very clean, cozy, and comfortable. My cat ran under the bed and I had to lift the mattress, and even under the mattress was SPOTLESS. Bravo! I love this place! If I ever need a place in Las Cruces, I won't even think to go elsewhere.

Not your idea of a good time? Mine, neither. But so clean you could do so, if you wished. We were impressed especially with the immaculate dining room and generous spread of both hot and cold entrees at the breakfast buffet. Everyone friendly and efficient. The property has a great midcentury, classic American, Leave It to Beaver motel feel.

A Lovely place to stay. A very clean motel, with firm beds that don't sink down. The outdoor pool looked very refreshing. I was pleasantly surprised to see remodeled rooms too! I will stay here again the next time we are in Las Cruces.

Upon arrival, I saw that this property presented itself in a unique Southwestern motif, both outside and in the rooms. Check in was easy , and the staff very friendly. Throughout my stay everyone there was very helpful.The surrounding area was safe and quiet, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. Based on this experience, I wild always come back here whenever I'm in Las Cruces.

Found the staff was professional, helpful and friendly. The facility needs renovations to convert toilets to comfort height and tubs into full walk in showers. Liked the full service breakfast that started at 6 am. for our early start.

I have been traveling through Las Cruses for the last 13 years every summer. The staff is always friendly and flexible. The rooms are always clean and I love how big the rooms are. It is always quiet and I feel safe at this property. I love the grounds, especially the pool as well as the roads that hop around in the summertime.

First, the good: family-friendly feel, beautifully-decorated rooms, and well-located. The bad: Despite the State Order to wear masks, the late-night front desk worker wore NO mask and refused to don one when I brought it to his attention. Upon asking him why he did not wear one, he answered: "The day staff wear masks." By that logic, Covid-19 is a is only diurnal... The housekeeping staff also didn't wear masks at any time I was there. The excuse I received from the daytime front desk worker was that the housekeeping staff "did not speak English" so they could not understand directives to wear masks. Inexplicably, however, the housekeeping staff understood--perfectly--that I was checking out the following day, as told to them by the front desk manager over the phone AS I STOOD IN FRONT OF HIM. Anyway, these are difficult times and I don't expect anyone to be perfect. However, please don't advertise your hotel as "sanitized" in conformance with Best Western's supposed "We Care Clean" directive and then not comply. I relied on this advertising to book a stay in route to see my elderly parents. Moreover, it's slightly embarrassing--and inexcusable--for a hotel employee to refuse to put on a facemask and then tell you that night staff don't don masks...during a global pandemic. You can tell the owners and their two children are good, caring people; that's why I hesitated to even write this. However, I think people should know what they're getting themselves into, especially if they're being cautious.

More than 15 years ago while my daughter lived in L.A. and me in Houston, we decided to meet half way for a weekend of food, sun and thrifting. We settled on this place because of the outdoor pool and they allowed dogs. When my husband and I decided to visit White Sands National Park we looked for a place with an outdoor pool. I asked my husband to find "that" hotel. As we pulled in he asked me if this was the place-- It was indeed! Success. Our first night there, a strong wind knocked out the electricity to one wing of the hotel. The staff put us in another room, not an easy thing with the storm going on around us. After it passed, I was able to chat with the new owners for several minutes in courtyard. The hotel is family owned, dogs welcome with a nice patch of grass, complete with disposal bags. There is a lovely pool on the property with grown trees and lounge chairs conducive to families and groups. I'm a huge fan of the personal touch and this place has to the personal touch. The new owners took over two weeks before the corona virus shutdown. They still put together a great "grab & go" breakfast with coffee, tea and juices. A great value with high marks for original touches. The entire staff was great from Aaron to housekeeping, front desk, and especially the owners. We had a most enjoyable stay and will gladly stay again.

It was a hot day, and we had a comfy king size room with good A/C. It was quiet and clean, had a fridge, microwave, comfy bed, and great hot water pressure! Internet worked great! Front desk staff, Jewel, was very caring and helpful! Grab and Go breakfast options were 3 choices, already bagged and labeled at a table indicating options -- very helpful!

The BW Mission Inn is very unique. Not your typical cookie-cutter place. The lobby and the suite we stayed in were very south west. The grounds were well kept and there were cherry trees scattered around. The rates were amazing.

We needed an Inn close to the Nissan dealership and picked the BW Mission Inn solely on location - and SO GLAD we did! The best customer service - and wish we can remember the afternoon front desk clerk who helped my husband with all of his questions... and Susana in the morning who gave us her name but I can't remember for the life of me!! The rooms were beautiful and clean with exposed beams and rustic Mexican wood furniture and nicely appointed. It felt more like a cozy Mom and Pop Inn. We'd happily stay again!

Stopped over night here and cold have stayed longer. I will return, The Hotel is just around the corner you have shops, Restaurants, Bars and malls The area as well is surrounded by Nature Reserves, Not far at all from the border, and a please to stop if on a long roadtrip Rooms are big, clean and comfy, large bath in mine, Outdoor swimming pool if needed. Breakfast in main lobby.

This was another stop on way home. The room decor was dated but clean, Parking was good and location off the highway made it easy to get to. Breakfast was grab and go due to COVID-19 pandemic but they did have ready coffee available with all the stuff to make a good cup.

Perfect place for our needs. Rooms are very spacious and clean. There is a train across the road but did not interfere with our rest. Staff was amazing to accommodate our requests, very knowledgeable, and friendly. During the time of sequestering due to covid-19 a grab and go breakfast was provided to allow for social distancing.

An older property, but clean and well kept. Good Wifi. Though some said noisy, we had no noise problems. About equidistant from downtown Las Cruces and Mesilla. Free breakfast buffet would have been fine, but we were there at the beginning of the Coronavirus scare, so breakfast was abbreviated, though adequate.

Yes, this is an older motel but that's a good thing! It has tons of character and charm and heartens back to days when each hotel was local and had its own personality and wasn't built off of then same blueprint as the last 500 hotels some corporation has built. The rooms are huge and have cool vintage southwestern details like beamed ceilings and tile work, Furniture was nicely updated but still had vintage charm. My room was immaculately clean. Staff was awesome both at the front desk and at breakfast. Yes, the train tracks are across the road, but for me the sound of train whistles only added to the place feeling authentic, much more then the sound of 18 wheelers when you're at some sterile motel next to interstate. (HINT: if you are going to complain about noise, it's easy enough to check out the location of a hotel BEFORE you book).

This hotel would be fine except that the train runs directly behind it and the horn blows several times at 3 am! Not a restful night! Maybe if the trains were banned from blowing their horns late at night, it would help.

This is one of the Chain's older hotels, and it cries out for renovation. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, but the room lacks the convenience of logical light switch placement as well as bedside phone charging facilities. That is a 21st Century amenity that is needed. Everybody has a cell phone nowadays. The location is unfortunate too, although not BW's fault. The hotel is only a stone's throw away from the UP line that runs east-west through town. We were wakened by the freight's blaring horn as it passed through. It sounded like a cannon had gone off.

This hotel is a little bit away from the main highways but is a gem. It is quiet and the rooms are clean and big. The beds are comfortable with a small refrigerator and microwave. The bathroom floors are warm on the bare feet.

Train tracks across the street and noise all night long with 5 trains during our stay. whistle warnings for 2 crossings near the motel. Not the place to stay if you want a good night sleep! Breakfast was lower quality as far as selection compared to equal cost of stay at other Best Western facilities.

Arrived early and Aaron at the front desk couldn't have been more welcoming. Checked to see if a room was ready and it was. Then he provided me with recommendations for hiking and for pet friendly restaurants in the area. Room was exceedingly clean, well appointed and well laid out. Breakfast is at the attached restaurant which appears only to be open now for hotel patrons. All in all, a very nice spot.

Comfortable stay. Friendly, helpful front desk employees. Room a bit musty when we entered but turning on the AC helped dissipate the odor. Huge and very comfortable king bed with great pillow choices. Except where the AC was blowing, the large tile floor in vanity area was warm to bare feet. Sink vanity area is separate from toilet and tub. I prefer that. Breakfast had eggs, ham, gravy and biscuits as well as the usual waffles, small yogurt and cold cereal choices. I had to ask for a regular oatmeal packet but enjoyed the slivered almonds, raisins and honey as add-ins. Would have liked English muffins as a bread choice. Internet worked fine and seemed secure. A nice, rustic hotel with good value. We would stay here again.

Built in a real old mission. Rooms decorated in mission style with beamed ceilings and rustic mission ceilings. Very large room. Very clean. Staff was excellent, very helpful and friendly. Great location and great value.

Traveled alone with my pet from Az to IL for the first time. This is an older motel that has been very nicely remodeled. It is very convenient to load/unload your car as parking is right outside your door. Also very convenient courtyard pet area that is well lit. The front desk personnel are very knowledgeable and helpful. The breakfast was hot, fresh and very nice. A very pleasant stay, and would definitely stay again when in the area.

We stayed here over 5 years ago, and this is still an outstanding establishment! Jules at the front desk was extremely pleasant, helpful and professional. She addressed our concerns and looked after us like a first class BW employee. Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed. This is our place to stay in the Las Cruces/El Paso area.

Enjoyed a weekend getaway from the cold. Convenient location. Close to train tracks so heard the train at night and early morning but didn't ruining our getaway. Still slept great Restaurants aren't too far away but not walking distance

We had a large comfortable room nicely decorated in southwestern fashion. The king bed was very comfortable. As most Best Westerns, there is a good hot breakfast but this one has a waitress that checks on you and fills up your coffee cup. There are railroad tracks across the road so be forewarned about the trains blasting their horns at any hour of the night. Being on the ground floor there was noise from the people above us. Sounds like they wore cowboy boots. Thankfully I wear ear plugs when I travel.

We liked the size of the room and the appliances. Beds were firm. We booked a king and found that the only ones were on the second floor. No elevator and luggage carts are available on the property. We had to change to a room with two queens. Their windows are not thermal paned glass and have a need to be cleaned. The property is next to a main rail line, you will find the train may wake you up with either vibration , noise and or the train whistle at every crossing. The free breakfasts are decent with ample tables available for their guests to eat at.

Our stay was very comfortable. Breakfast started early, even though it was the weekend making it easy to get to our trade show where we were set up in a timely manner. Check in and out was easy and efficient.

It was spacious with large dresser, desk and chair, fridge with freezer shelf, microwave, a comfy chair with ottoman. Large clean bath, everything with contemporary/southwestern design. Freight trains are moving along close by and are tooting their horns. A nice, full breakfast was displayed on a buffet in the cafe/restaurant with nice southwestern decor. A friendly waitress served coffee. I'll be back!

We booked this hotel way before we left home so we would be sure to have a room we like! This place was no exception from the Best Western Brand. The room was spacious, clean, plenty of towels and wash cloths. All the amenities for a short overnight stay or a long vacation stay. The amazing welcoming prior to our visit with early check in and questions answered. You will not find that in other hotel chains! We felt important. Our room was very clean and odor free. We asked for a pet friendly room. The center court yard was close enough to every room for dog exercise area. The parking is a little tight but not a big distraction. There are two levels and we requested a lower level without stairs and we were very happy with the room. The bed a king, was really comfortable. This trip proved a little bit different because one of our pups developed an allergy but we found a very friendly vet service that saw us right away. The problem we ran into was not the Best Western, it was the city of Law Cruces! The one way streets, the construction everywhere, for a 4 mile drive to the vet's office took us 30 minutes! We sure enjoyed the hot breakfast, sausage, scrambled eggs with veggies, sausage gravy and hot biscuits, really good orange juice and coffee served in a real dining room with a wonderful hostess! You know, the friendly, professional staff is what makes the biggest difference! We have decided to stay at Best Western exclusively just because of our experience from the last two stays!

while moving father in law to texas (has dementia) from san diego decided to stay at this location. hotel is clean with good parking. during breakfast father in law had a spill at coffee station before i could get there. Tracy jumped in and cleaned mess. never a cross word or foul look. we felt like family.

This was the second time for us at this motel. It's our choice for comfort and value. It is a very well maintained older property with features you don't find in more modern motels. The breakfast room is especially nice although the breakfast is just fair. There is train noise at night so being as far from the tracks as possible is essential. Desk staff and management are very helpful. The rooms are large and well equipped.

This was a late night stop for us...Called to make reservations and the desk clerk was super friendly and helpful. We got there late and she was so warm and bubbly. The room was the cleanest I've ever seen and the bed was really comfortable. It looked like they may have recently renovated. We have a small dog and they have a nice grassy area to walk dogs. The next morning the day desk clerk was also really friendly! We had a really delicious breakfast...Lots of hot and cold things to choose from. They had a lady working the breakfast room, talking to people, keeping the buffet tables really clean. She took such good care of everything that we did something we've never done before in a hotel breakfast grab n go area...We tipped her! I mean, she just treated it like it was her hotel and that we were all coming to her dining room. I did see train tracks and got concerned, but it was really quiet..Not sure if a train went by, but we didn't hear anything! This hotel was just exceptional in so many ways and so unexpected. Thank you for a refreshing stop!

Looked like it had been recently upgraded/remodeled and an excellent job was done. Staff were extremely friendly & professional. Room was really clean! I can usually find imperfections....not here! Above and beyond! Well done Best Western!

Had everything I look for in a good motel when on a long road trip. Easy to get to location from I-10, safe, clean location, clean room, comfortable bed, refrig in room. Mission style decor was a plus too. Great staff. Great breakfast. Fast check-in and out ! I will be back.

If you want a hotel that feels new, while retaining a historic feel, offers great prices, free, extensive breakfast and great rooms, this place is for you! :) The staff is wonderful, the room was incredibly clean and felt newly renovated and the pricepoint (especially for us since my dad and I stayed over a week) was impossible to beat!

I understand there used to be a mission on this site and the buildings certainly look like it. The lobby was nice and bright and the motel style rooms were very spacious and tastefully furnished. The hotel is across the street from the railway lines but noise was not an issue. The Mesilla is just over a mile away so we headed over there to Double Eagle for a nice dinner. Has a comfortable night's sleep then headed over to the reception area for breakfast. A god selection but some healthier options would have been welcome. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

My daughter & I stayed as I helped her move from Texas to Arizona. It was a great price for a room that was clean & comfortable! We loved getting breakfast in without an extra stop! Super friendly & helpful staff!

Recently remodeled motel. Grounds were nice with large cactus, pool, tables and chairs for sitting outside. The room had wood beams across the ceiling, nice southwest artwork, tiled mirror. Bathroom had been updated with nice wall and floor tile. Breakfast was served in a large southwest decorated room. Buffet had eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, yogurt with various toppings,waffle maker.

I try to book Best Western properties as they are usually consistent. This property is no different. Clean, charming decor and architecture which is typical mission style. Like stepping back in time. Large rooms, comfortable beds, nice linens and modern, appearing to have been refreshed in the last year. The front desk staff showed good hospitality skills. The breakfast attendant Tracy went above and beyond, she was amazing. The location has a bit to be desired as there is no type of service adjacent and anything you want you have to drive to; albeit not far. Overall you can't go wrong with this motel and considering the price it's a phenomenal deal.

Not corporate sterile. Room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was a treat with biscuits, gravy, sausages and real eggs with chorizo (Yay!) in addition to the usual Best Western fare. Front desk very helpful to two tired travelers.

Room had dog food on floor and is out dated. Breakfast was poor needs more options and better tasting food. Not enough parking. Pool open but not heated not hot tub. In morning you can hear everyone's bags rolling by. Rooms are dark.

We were skeptical to stay here because we had stayed at Best Western in Blythe. The one in Blythe was filthy. Not dirty, FILTHY. I read the reviews for this one and we gave it a shot. Boy, was that the right thing to do. It started with the man who took our reservation on the 6th of Jan. Very nice and informative. The room. Let's get to the room. I am a cootiephob. This room? I almost didn't wipe it down with my antibacterial wipes. But like I said, I'm a cootiephob. I tried to find dirt because of the night before but I found nothing. NOTHING!!! Not so much as a dog hair. We have dogs. I leave the rooms cleaner than when we enter them. Well, really not sure this time. Huge thank you to those wonderful housekeepers. I left them a tip and I wish I had left more. Also, thank you to the lady this morning Jan. 7th. Super sweet. We have found our new stopping point when we travel home. p.s. you'll notice the green blanket on the bed. We do that to help keep the hair and dirt from the beds. I'm sure the housekeepers appreciate it.

the staff are remarkably courteous.the rooms are clean.the motel is centrally located from the highway.we have stayed in this location many times on are way to arizona to be snowbirds for the winter. we really enjoy stopping here.

We have been booking all our stays with Best Western. The rooms are clean and updated. Prices are very reasonable. The free breakfast is always a great addition. We will definitely keep staying with BW.

Stayed here one night during our road trip through New Mexico. We had a lovely room with a king bed, large screen tv, internet, fridge and microwave. The room was large and went front to back. We watched the sun go down during the evening and rise over the mountains in the morning. It's an older hotel, remodeled with lots of character. The breakfast room was very large and the service was attentive. Would definitely recommend it.

Front desk was amazing offering to swtich us to a room on the bottom floor, since we had kids. Breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful. Room smelled and looked clean as soon as we walked in. All of the staff the we encountered were friendly!

While this is an older Best Western, it is very well taken care of and the service was excellent! Rooms were clean and well cared for. We asked for a room at the back since it was on a fairly busy street. We didn't realize that there was a train track across from the motel, but the rooms were so well insulated we could not hear it at all. The waitress in the breakfast room was excellent! We would definitely stay here in the future when we pass thru Las Cruces.

The Best Western Mission Inn Las Cruces was an excellent property that provided excellent service, delicious breakfast and large, clean and comfortable rooms. Enjoyed the stay and look forward to staying there again.

Decor Santa Fe. Very clean spacious rooms. Whole Inn was airy, clean, and welcoming. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Breakfast room staffer Edith offered coffee refills. Susana, Front Desk, was great on directions, sightseeing tips and cheerful.

I'm still in shock that I paid $60 a night for one of the largest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in! The Best Western Mission Inn is a lovely property with beautiful mission-style rooms. I loved the decor and the "expose beam" look of the ceiling. The free breakfast was your typical Best Western selection, but it is served in a similarly lovely southwest mission-style dining area. There is also very convenient, free parking right in front of all the rooms. For this price and the quality of the rooms, I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Las Cruces!

Room and grounds were well taken cared of and the room was spacious and clean. TV was a little small for the room. The staff was friendly, especially the breakfast personnel. Breakfast was good and had decent choices.

The staff and hotel were amazing. We received the utmost respect from check-in to checkout. The breakfast was as good as any restaurant. The mission style decor was beautiful. The only issue is their mattresses are too firm.

5 weeks on the road and the BW Mission Inn offers us the most spacious room yet. Clean, no sign of pets being here, and with our poodle we were given this room. The decor, the tiled mirror, the rustico furniture, the over-sized bathroom, the ceiling beams, even the door is rustico. Most of the rooms are set back from the street and behind a large row of trees/shrubs, making it quite quiet. The pool blends in with the shrubbery. Most motels have already closed down the pool for the season, but not here. At this very moment, two men are cleaning it The rooms surround a large grassy area in the center, which offers tables and chairs for enjoying the good weather and a clean, very clean grassy area for the pets. Even supplies are provided and a receptacle for our pet clean-up. The closet area includes an iron and ironing board. With the friendly staff's help, we have changed our one-night stay to three. It's very easy to to get to the motel, whichever direction you're coming from. And, it's a short, easy drive to all the restaurants in Mesilla. Everything about the Mission Inn invites one to stay or come back. We'll do both!

The hotel is well kept in a nice southwest theme. Clean room, microwave, fridge, coffee pot, hot breakfast with big dining room. Like the decor of the whole property, great price too. Front desk lady Jules is super sweet, very thoughtful. Take good care of our needs. We couldn't be happier. On a trip to ballon fiesta, Carlsbad and white Sands. So far best service among other hotels. Super cozy. 10 stars!!!!

This is a great little historic hotel that has kept up with the times. Probably the best place in Las Cruces. Clean and quiet even though it is near the tracks with a train occasionally, but not often, heard. Good breakfast included.

We asked for a dog friendly place to stay and this was a good choice. Clean rooms and a friendly staff willing to point us in the direction of a perfect restaurant. Easy to find location. We would stay here again.

The beds were very comfortable and spacious rooms. Pet area was clean and close to all rooms. The breakfast was good, fresh and continually monitored for needs. Right off the freeway, so it was easy to access.

Overall we had a great stay at this BW hotel. We came into town with out reservations. The front desk was very helpful getting us checked in and answered our questions. Only thing I found irritating was the room AC unit. It was loud and probably undersized for the space it had to cool. I would stay here again.

This is a happy, quiet, safe place to stay. The staff are friendly and helpful and the other guests are really nice in my experience. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the outside area is truly pleasant. I've stayed here a lot and I've always had a good experience.

Decent Night Stay, very large hotel rooms. This is our second stay here passing through. Great price for a safe place to spend the night. Quick driving distance to anywhere you need to go while visiting.

Being our 4th time to stay here at Mission Inn, we knew what to except. Every area is superbly clean. All staff are extremely helpful & friendly. Beds are comfy and rooms are big & roomy. Great breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage & gravy/biscuits plus all the usual fare. Pool is clean & inviting. Outdoor tables to relax & eat plus charcoal grill. It is an older hotel but do not let that deceive you. Truly beautiful & comfortable rooms.

Stayed two nights with son and his family. Both days the breakfast staff were very good and courteous. We actually inspected the hotel (along with other prospects) the week prior to our stay. The Front Desk clerks were extremely helpful in this regard. Pool was great for a 3 yr old and there is a shady, grassy picnic area. Rooms are spacious and well furnished. Mattresses are firm. And be prepared for nightly trains going by.

Went for a tournament. The lobby and worth smelt “a little old” - musty. Everything felt really clean though. Staff was supper kind and proactive. I would stay again without hesitation! The bed was a little hard for my liking!

After a bit of difficulty finding this hotel, upon arrival I found a wonderful mission style hotel with a big room, helpful staff, good breakfast, cute lobby and a very welcoming swimming pool on a hot summer night.

After a 12 hour drive from California, this was a fantastic place to stop. The front personnel were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating! The room was a bit dated but well maintained. The cost was very reasonable.

Place is super clean, inviting, and comfortable. I am glad I stayed and will be back soon. It has a pool, trees, nice secured pavers parking lot. I was up and gone before breakfast but they have a nice looking breakfast area.

This is a very nice hotel, it is very peaceful & quiet, it is very easy to find being on the main street. There is plenty of parking, for Cars, RV's and Trucks. We received a really nice welcome from the 2 Ladies on the front desk, they wanted to know where we were from and if we were planning to explore the area, in which case, did we need any maps printed out or information about what to see and where to go and how to get there, the ladies were really helpful. The Best Western Welcome is always good, these ladies are a good example of how good it can be, the welcomes we receive from Best Western Hotels seem to get better every year. The room was very clean, the bed and the pillows were very comfortable. The A/C was running when we got to our room, so that was nice and cool. The large TV had a good selection of channels, HBO, ESPN, FOX, CNN Etc. After a good night's sleep, we enjoyed a first-class breakfast, there was plenty of choice:- Various types of Bread & Cereals, Freshly Cooked Sausage, Hot Eggs (Omelet style and hard boiled), Yoghurts, Fruit Juice, Coffee, Muffins, and a good selection of fresh fruit. All the hot items were freshly cooked and there was a good supply of all of the food items available. This hotel would make a good base for exploring the area, there is a lot to see and do, not only in Las Cruces but also in the surrounding area. Approximately 70% of the historic part of Las Cruces was destroyed in the 1970's by the Urban Renewal Movement, but in 2002 the people of Las Cruces came together to reverse the process & restore Las Cruces to its former glory. There are several Art Galleries & the Farmers & Craft Market is well worth a visit. The Organ Mountains have a lot of interesting and historic sites. There is over 22 Miles of the Original Butterfield Stage Trail, Billy The Kid used these mountains to hide away, and you can visit “Billy The Kids, Lookout Rock”, Geronimo the Chiricahua Apache Leader hid here, look for his cave. The US Air Force used part of these mountains for target practice in WWII, The Apollo Astronauts trained here and there are over 240 Archeological & Petroglyph sites. Spaceport America is only 45 miles North of Las Cruces. The New Mexico Museum of Space History, The Museum of Nature and Science & The White Sands Missile Range are all within easy reach. The Rio Grande, Old Messila Village, Hiking, Horseback Riding & Birding Watching are all activities that can easily be done using this hotel as a base. My Wife & I had a great stay here, we definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to the next visit.

Obviously an old hotel that has been very tastefully updated with rustic furniture. Large clean rooms. A little tricky to find from the Interstate but worth it. Very reasonable rates. Staff was ultra-courteous. Wonderful full breakfast with service. AAA

July 13,2019 We called an hour ahead and booked 2 rooms before we got there.. The night receptionist was so friendly and welcoming. She was training and had a positive attitude in teaching her new things. She was smart and funny, We felt right at home, she gave us pool towels and extra bath towels. We got to the rooms and they smelled clean and looked great! We swam for a bit what a refreshing end to our night, considering we had a hot travel day. The next morning the day receptionist people were happy and invited us to breakfast, which by the way was FANTASTIC!!!! The Server lady was so friendly and tended to us very well! :-) Overall, we were so impressed that we hope to stay here every year we travel this way. Thank you with all our hearts, The Garcia family

Super clean, great rooms, and with a staff that truly cares about their guests and their hotel. It has old-school Route 66 charm, and is obvious that the owners have done their best to make it feel like you are in a special place...and you really are. My family and I LOVED it. Also, the breakfast was wonderful too!

Beds were really hard . It was very difficult to sleep in that room. I didn't have any breakfast. I checked in late and checked out real early. The light switch in room as soon you walk in didn't work.

The layout of the property reminded me of 1960's era motels with great updates. The entire property has been redone although you may find reminders of its previous self. The grounds were well maintained and I felt safe staying there alone as a single woman. The parking was well lit and in the morning, you see a beautiful shine to the place. I was impressed to see various workmen maintaining the pool, the ice machines, etc. The staff were very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the area. The breakfast buffet was well staffed and the eggs and meat selections were freshly made. A server was highly present to make sure all offerings were available and kept up and the tables were cleaned and ready for more guests. As many reviewers mentioned, there are railroad tracks directly across the street and a couple of trains came by in the evening but they weren't a bother to my light sleeping ways. If i'm in the area again, I will definitely stay here again.

We got there late Friday and we were tired of our road trip. We walked into a nice and cool room. Rooms were nice and clean. The nest morning we went to have their free breakfast and we were greeted by a nice lady taking care of the breakfast bar. Everything was nicely stocked and clean.

Very clean and spacious rooms. Older hotel from the 1960's but everything is up to date. Was a mission converted to a hotel. Great staff and breakfast. Internet was spotty in our room, but not a big concern. Recommended.

Perfectly lovely facility with a friendly staff. The pool was great! Plus the grounds had a park like enclosure with fountain, bbq pit, and picnic tables. The rooms were very large and well appointed. We requested a roll away bed & it was set up and waiting for us when we arrived. The ac was struggling a bit to keep the big room cool in the 100+ temperatures, but it didn't take away from our stay. The only reason we would not stay here again, is the train track across the street. We were jarred awake twice by the very very loud train whistle at midnight and again at 4:30am. We managed to get the kids back to sleep after the midnight whistle. But after the 4:30am toot, they were wide awake......not very restful for the adults. If you can ignore the train, you'll love this place.

Great facilities and very spacious rooms. The staff was freindly and breakfast was hot. All accommodations were great and up to par relative to the price. I would reccomend this place and stay here again.

A very clean and updated retro motor motel. Clean and large rooms, updated furnishings and decor. And everything worked. The large grassy and shaded outdoor space was inviting in the evenings, and the grounds are immaculate. No trash and perfect landscaping care. The breakfast room is far better than most school cafeteria style areas that most hotels feature: more like restaurant dining. The location is across the street from the railroad, but there aren't that many trains. We will stay here again for sure.

Enjoyable stay in a very spacious room with rustic decor! Very clean and all amenities were functioning. Pleasant and professional staff - from Cynthia who checked me in and Aaron who checked me out. I appreciated that when I inquired about local restaurants that delivered, Cynthia had a print out with names and phone numbers for me to choose from. Aaron was very accommodating when I departed before the official breakfast hours, in getting me set up with a snack for the road and hot coffee. I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at the Mission Inn on our way to Red River. It was a nice, clean property, not too far from local eating establishments, and the young lady that greeted us was very friendly and knowledgeable. Great value, too!

This has become "our place to stay" when we are in Las Cruces. The rooms are extremely affordable, they are spacious, nicely decorated and courtyard and pool are immaculate. The free breakfast is yummy and the staff is wonderful.

Staff was very friendly at night and for breakfast and it was a very relaxing stay. We love to stay there when we visit family in Las Cruces. I love the decor of the rooms and the lobby and breakfast area is very spacious. Next time we stay we plan on using the pool. Thanks again for a nice stay.

This is our go to hotel when we travel from Houston to LA. This just past the half-way point amd a nice property. Breakfast is always included at Best Western properties which is good for our large family. Value is a 10.

Exceptionally clean grounds and room. Very friendly staff. Very please with the size of the room. The furniture is a little outdated BUT the dresser was huge and offered more drawer space than a luxury hotel with newer furniture. We will stay at this Best Western again if in the area and now will try other BW locations

I understand this is not a luxury hotel and is for budget conscious travelers for whatever the reason. However, when you have items in the room that don't function properly or work, it is best not to have them (i.e., accessory plugs, television, air conditioning, etc.). One item at this hotel was particularly atrocious, and that was the food, which literally made me ill later in the day.

I Had all my children and grandchildren home for a reunion and needed extra room so I booked rooms at the Best Western Mission. We utilized one of the handicap assesible rooms for my aunt and then 4 other rooms for family. It was a very nice experience and will be utilized for future reunions. The breakfast provided is very adequate and seemed to be enjoyed by all the families which allowed me to enjoy family and not have to cook and clean up breakfast! the rooms were very clean and the towels are very soft. The staff I dealt with was very friendly and did not seem to be bothered when we asked for extra towels and such.

Very quiet, clean and comfortable. This is an older hotel, which means the walls are not like wall paper! The rooms are updated nicely. Great for travelling with a dog. The staff was great, they were ready with a list of dog friendly restaurants, with notes if the restaurant had a patio and if they had vegetarian options!

I thought this place would be great based on the reviews. But I am looking at a tiny TV sitting high on a very unattractive cabinet that is in poor condition. The shampoo bottle is so tiny I'm not sure there is enough shampoo for one use by my husband and myself. The toilet paper holder can accommodate two rolls, but there is only one and it isn't even a full roll. There is no extra roll (wrapped) in the room. The air conditioner works, but not sure it would be adequate on a really hot night. The parking lot is being repaired.

I stayed here in April. I left my laptop computer in the room. Aaron called promptly and shipped it to me the next day. It arrived intact with everything in it. This could have been a disaster, but thank to their honesty and customer service it turned out just fine! I would totally stay there again!

We were driving through Las Cruces on a move from Dallas to Los Angeles. All we wanted was a clean hotel that had HBO for the Game of Thrones premiere and that allowed cats. We called many different hotels and were very pleased that we found this Best Western. Everyone was incredibly friendly, the rooms and lobby were clean, and the free breakfast was very nice. I highly recommend this hotel!

This was the most comfortable room of our 8 day trip. Everything from staff to room layout to overall property was wonderful. We were particularly impressed with the staff. cheerful and helpful. We felt most welcome.

Booked direct, and our reservation was not in the system. Our friends used Expedia and no problems....they even got a free upgrade to a suite! The room was dated and a bit dirty. No amenities at all near by.

We stopped here for a couple of nights on our way from Louisiana to Arizona. Our room was spacious, very clean, and nicely decorated. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful. Restaurants recommended by the staff were great!

From check-in to check-out this was a great stay. Cynthia at the desk during check in was an absolute hoot! She had an extremely bubbly personality and she truly seemed to enjoy her work. When showing a guest in front of me restaurants in the area, she took a couple of extra minutes to point out to him which ones would actually be open as it was a Sunday evening. She even mentioned she loved directing people to restaurants... especially her favorites. Our room was beautiful and with a most unusual layout with a t 3/4 height wall separating the main room from the dressing / sink area. The breakfast was very good with the usual flare of a good hot breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

This was my second stay at this motel. I have established a yearly visit to family in Arizona and this is my second trip. The motel is a little older but it is well maintained and comfortable. If my plans hold, I will visit this hotel on my trip next year.

We decided to stay the night in Las Cruses for sons Baseball Game in Anthony, TX. It was a pet friendly hotel and very nice away from interstate very quit and peaceful. Bed was a good a little firm for me, but it's because It is getting harder for me to rest away from own bed. We did have a suite but we had family in another room and I should have just book a regular room. Overall it was a great stay, they do serve a breakfast as well.

Excellent hotel, close to Mesilla. Large, clean rooms with comfy beds and pillows. Updated recently. Breakfast was great with hot items (eggs, sausage, gravy, biscuits and waffles) and cold items (cereals, yougurt etc). The wait staff was very thoughtful to come and refill our coffee several times. check in/out was a breeze. All the staff have excellent customer service skills. There are active train tracks across the street. I heard the train blow it's horn once - then I fell asleep. If another came through during the night, I never heard it. The horn was not excessive when I did hear it. I would still highly recommend it and would stay again.

Upon arrival our check in was quick. We were pleasantly surprised y how clean and large the room was. While unloading our vehicle we heard the train pass by. Concerned we would have trouble sleeping, once we closed the door, couldn't hear a thing. Convenient location.

We were pleasantly surprised with this property! Enormous room nicely furnished, comfortable bed, and an updated bathroom. The decor was markedly Western and the entire property was well kept. Highly recommend!

We were visiting family and staying south in the warmer weather before heading home up north. The hotel is very clean and the room was big. We really liked the warm floors in the bathroom and sink area. I was concerned about noise from trains since the tracks were across the street but we were not bothered by them at all. We liked the courtyard in the middle.

All staff was wonderful. 1 lady even told us about pokemon go stop on property. Front desk was able to extend our stay with no trouble. Rustic decor but it fit Texas motif. Wonderful lawn for my dog to walk and was well maintained. Will be back

A Pet friendly Hotel. Easy access to I-10 with an extremely helpful staff obviously intent on fulfilling each patrons needs. Many good restaurants close. Perfect for the "road trip" traveler passing through Las Cruces.

Nice and clean. Located across a railroad track but after going to bed did not hear anything. The parking is kind of crowded and the spaces were not marked to reserve for each room so we had quite a walk back and forth with baggage from our car to our room. We were given a handicapped room and the bathroom was very nice. Carpet kind of worn.

We were just passing through Las Cruces and we had great experience very dog friendly and had many places to take the dog out! The coffee was also extremely delicious in the morning and the staff was very friendly

My second visit to this property, the first in winter months. The design and layout is visually appealing. Rooms are spacious and decorated in the southwest style, but the interiors are becoming dated. The HVAC system is a wall mounted unit that loudly cycles on and off, all night long. It cannot be set to keep the fan running. The TVs are small, not high def, and anchored on top of a unit that is set back from the bed and seating area. Desk staff pleasant and knowledgeable. Check in and out was efficient. Breakfast offerings average, but in a better than average seating area. Reasonably priced for Las Cruces.

This motel was just ok. It is very old but well kept. The room was large and well kept but the carpet could have smelled better. The breakfast room was nice but the breakfast itself was pretty minimal. There is significant train noise. It is not really possible to walk anywhere from the motel due to traffic and a lack of sidewalks. Staff were friendly. Towels were very warm.

Great room, comfortable bed, caring staff, decent location, and awesome breakfast. It was a full hot buffet and the eating area was especially large and comfortable. The front desk lady, Nancy I believe, offered us lots of options for dinner as there were no restaurants close by (pretty much need a car).

We had a combination of leisure and medical appointments as reasons for our stay. The medical appts. required that we stay two extra nights. The front desk staff, Aaron, and Cynthia couldn't have been more helpful. We used points for one of those nights, and the BestWestern Rewards agent was very nice and efficient.. The room was quiet and comfortable. It was a restful stay.

The room was fantastic, the service most excellent and professional. The breakfast was pretty standard. If I had one recommendation, it would be: more vegan options at the breakfast. Coffee and bananas aren't bad, per se, but I would like a little more variety. Pleasantly surprise to have Silk brand chocolate soy milk, was able to have creamer in my coffee, which is rare at hotels

I made a mistake last year. My teenage daughter talked me into staying at Motel 6 because they have a heated pool. Not only was that closed upon our check in, but the third floor room's air conditioning was turned OFF, mid summer, in the desert. What was this penny-pinching management thinking!!?? After an hour of the sad wall unit's inability to bring the room under 92° I decided we, both being adthmatic, needed to leave. Best Western Mission had a room, it was clean, cool, and welcomong. The Motel 6 managenent refused to refund my money and treated me, a retired teacher, AS IF I WAS A STREET WALKER WHO HAD USED THE ROOM FOR AN HOUR AND WAS TRYING TO SCAM THE HOTEL. What a blessing is BEST BEST BEST WESTERN MISSION. I'LL NEVER STAY ANYWHERE ELSE IN LAS CRUCES!

This was our first time to stay at this Best Western chain hotel in Las Cruces NM on Dec. 28, 2018. It was easy to check-in with the friendly hotel staff at the Best Western Mission Inn. It is a dog-friendly hotel at a reasonable cost for our furry family member. We didn't get a lst floor room which was requested through a hotel booking website. There were no 1st floor rooms available when we checked in. Still the 2nd floor room was very nice and spacious with a Southwest theme and was different from other places we've stayed with dark exposed wood beams in the high ceiling. The bed was comfortable for us and the bathroom was smaller in comparison to the spacious bedroom but clean...as was the room. The only thing I was curious about was having to "get a ticket" to eat breakfast. They must have a reason, but I didn't ask. I'm accustomed to just going into the hotel breakfast area and having the ala carte breakfast provided. As for breakfast choices, it was minimal (nothing to rave about) but their breakfast area did look very nice and had "restaurant-like" seating for guests. We were very satisfied with our accommodations because we liked the uniqueness of the wood beams as well as it being clean, spacious, dog-friendly and the hotel presented itself as a lovely property with its outside "Mission Style" architecture. It wasn't walking distance to any restaurant or convenience store but we would stay at the Best Western Mission again if we were in Las Cruces NM again.

Stayed at this BW on a trip from Fresno, Ca to Dallas Tx. I usually stay at BW on all of my trips, c.lean rooms, comfy beds and usually good breakfast (free) . Stayed at the BW in downtown Las Cruces on the way back to Calif. Great!

Stayed one night in this during our road trip. It is at a convenient location. Check-in and check-out was very fast. Front desk staff was kind and welcoming. When we enter our room we really like that there are cultural elements like wooden furnitures, tiled mirror frame and nice cactus pictures on the wall. It was a large room but was not very clean. Carpets and refrigerator was dirty. There were huge dust blocks next to refrigerator and large furnitures. Sleep quality was very low, I had to turn off refrigerator because it was so noisy that woke up us two times at night. Breakfast in the morning was very nice. If management shows some attention to cleaning, this can be a very nice hotel.

Hotel is in Mexico style that looks wonderful. Beds and pillow are great. Room and bathroom are clean and neat. Staff are very polite and friendly. The hotel is special from other that Breakfast staff provided service to each customers. It is so warm.

We always stay here on our way to Ft. Worth. You won't be disappointed at all. The breakfast is good, coffee good, the staff always super freindly.Rooms clean, bed comfy, plenty of hot water. The value is fantastic.

This is an older style Best Western Motel. That is not a detraction as it has charm that is missing on most newer ones. Everything was clean and worked well. The staff was quite good and helpful. The rates are quite reasonable and access to local restraunts and shops good. We have stayed here several times and it is always as good.

Very clean and quiet hotel. Happy staff! Best bed I've slept in (other than mine) in a hotel. I made reservation on line and requested extra pillows, and they were there when we checked in. Breakfast was hot and good.

This is an older two story hotel ( no elevator ) with an outside entrance to each room. The king was very spacious, large bathroom and extremely clean. The breakfast room is spacious with an excellent selection of items. Each staff member that we encountered, ( Night Auditor , Morning Receptionist and The Young Lady in The Breakfast Room were all charming, polite, friendly and very professional. We enjoyed our stay and when we return to Las Cruces, we will certainly stay here. On a note of information for future guests, The train tracks are next door, The trains come through, They sound their horn, This is in no way connected to the hotel.

We enjoyed a most comfortable and pleasant stay at the Best Western Mission Inn in Las Cruces, NM. The Staff was most welcoming and accommodating. Our room was spacious, well appointed and quiet! Exceptional property. True Southwestern New Mexico ambiance. Clean well maintained. Some of the nicest people working here. I travel for work so I get to see many people who work in the hotel industry. The employees here treat you like family, no better than that. They treat you like a best friend. This BW brought back memories of travel through NM when I was a child. Very pleasant.

This was probably my second worst hotel check-in ever. One of the front desk employees asked for some information that, until today, I have never been asked (77 nights spent at BW properties alone this year; this does not include nights spent at other chains). When I questioned why it was "required", the individual became overly emotional. Strike one. The standard practice during check-in is to 1) be thanked for being a Diamond Select member and 2) asked if I would like bonus points or a thank you gift. Neither of which happened at this location. Strike two and three. The one positive for this location is their cleaning staff. Whoever cleaned the room I stayed in did a wonderful job.

I have stayed in this hotel many times and have never been disappointed. Beautiful Southwest decor throughout and great service. It is only a ten minutes drive to the historical centre of Santa Fe and is surrounded by many good dining and shopping choices.

Stayed two nights in Sep 2018. The room is big, but there's a couple odd things. The A/C unit is on the back wall under a window. It would be nice if the window had black out curtains, as it let in too much light in the morning. If you open the bathroom door, it blocks the A/C unit; however, when you close the bathroom door, there is no vent in there so it never gets any air circulation. The vanity is not in the bathroom, just the tub/shower and toilet. It was well stocked with towels. The bed was comfortable; however, hard to get the temperature regulated and comfortable. With the cool night temp, we did not need A/C, but the comforter was thick and made sleeping hot, so it was hard to get comfortable to fall asleep. The A/C did not want to run much as it was cool outside. I guess we could have set the temp very low and opened the bathroom door to blocked some of the air. We like to be able to get out of bed without the air in the room freezing us out. Aside from the A/C noise when it was blowing, it was a quiet night. I've been in a couple hotels recently that used upper wall mounted A/C units that are very quiet. I hope more places will start using these. The breakfast area was large and stocked with the usual breakfast fare. They had biscuits and gravy, eggs, and a meat. Waffle maker, cereals, milks, juices, teas, coffee, and a little fresh fruit. There is a cabinet with a small fridge and microwave in it. The room also has a coffee maker. WiFi worked well.

Everyone at this location is very friendly and helpful. We got lost & called to get directions which we promptly received from the Lady at the desk. At checkout the Lady made sure we received double points for our stay.

This inn provided us a nicer stay than any other place so far on our trip, even the other Best Western hotels, which is saying quite a bit. The room was spacious and comfortable, including cross-ventilation and a bathroom window. It was quiet at night, even though it wasn't far from railroad tracks - there were only a few trains and they didn't need to blow their horns at night. Front desk staff were very polite and very helpful. When we asked for a room located farthest from the railroad tracks (instead of fairly near), they immediately gave us a room at the back of the property without any problems. Also, when there was a minor problem with bathtub draining slowly, they got on it quickly. I felt like they cared to provide a good experience, even more so than more expensive places in other parts of the Southwest US.

Booked this as an overnighter driving through on the interstate. Pleasantly surprised by how great this place was as the rate was super cheap. Huge room. Renovated nicely. We booked a King room. Staff were all super amazing! Free ample breakfast included sauage and eggs, toast. Easy parking. Quiet. Short drive 5 minutes to supermarket where we saw lots of drugged out people. Hotel was safe. Nice pool and areas to sit outside.

Nice big rooms, pleasant staff. The pool and green area are very nice. There is a grill and picnic table for guest use. Towels, linens, and mattress were great. Good breakfast. The only thing I would improve on is cleaning the carpet in the room more frequently.

This is a very comfortable, affordable, and clean hotel. They are very pet friendly and they have a wonderful staff. They directed us to an authentic Mexican restaurant just minutes away in Melissa NM, called La Posta, and the food and service there was super. They have a small but well cared for central grassy area that is perfect for walking a dog or to sit and relax. We did hear a train at night but it was not noisy. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling with a pet.

We are on vacation from the UK, we found this little gem on our way to Texas. The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The whole property is kept meticulous, the pool is really nice, the breakfast was good and the rates are reasonable. Bed comfortable, linen very crisp and clean, there are plenty of towels I recommend people travelling on the I-10 corridor stop at this property instead of booking in at El Paso. We will definitely stay here again.

Our stay is usually just one night 'cause we don't drive straight through any more (age). We try to find a hotel that is half way to our destination. Las Cruces fit the bill for this trip. The check in was quick and easy - our request for the type of room met with no problem and the staff was accommodating. Breakfast plentiful, well prepared and well stocked. We will stay here again.

Stopped here on our last night before we got home, I needed a comfortable restful bed for my back. This hotel was more than comfortable. It had been recently remodeled, and was very clean, quiet, and comfortable.

Stayed at the Best Western Mission Inn in Las Cruces (note, there is am active train track out front, so don't say I didn't warn you). The staff were just amazing, handling issues I may have before I even knew they were things I could worry about, or situations I might like a solution for. They gave us a place to park our trailer, put us in the further back rooms to reduce train noise, and offered to give us snack bags because we were leaving too early to enjoy the breakfast each morning. GREAT Staff!

Excellent hotel. Great location, Extremely clean. Very good breakfast. Bed was comfortable. Had a good nights sleep. Internet service was very good. There is not much more to say when one has an excellent stay at this hotel.

We have stayed at this property a number of times and have always been satisfied. The rooms are clean and the decor is awesome, a homey, southwest feel. They used to do a "order your own" breakfast and was really great. Seems they've gotten away from that and went to a buffet style. Personally prefer the order but the buffet is adequate. Great people, friendly and helpful. We plan on staying there our next visit.

The beds were comfortable and the rooms were nice. The staff was very friendly. The stay included free breakfast but it wasn't very good. The problem I had was with the AC, no matter how low it was set, it stayed around 80 degrees in the room. So even though the beds were comfortable, I couldn't sleep because it was too hot.

We stayed here one night before heading to White Sands. We arrived late afternoon and enjoyed eating a meal we brought in the open space with tables that is near pool. Then we used pool, it was clean and refreshing. Room was nice size and AC worked well which was a blessing as it was 103 degrees out! Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Had nice complimentary breakfast buffet with eggs and bacon and a nice variety of cereals and beverages. My brother had the biscuits and gravy and sausage it was good. We would stay here again if in the area.

Such a comfortable and pleasing experience. After a long drive it was wonderful to have a clean comfortable and cool room waiting for us. My husband mentioned how he loved the water pressure in the shower. Our breakfast was fulfilling. The staff was quite nice. We all slept so comfortable and didn't want to leave our room.

I have to stay at the lowest-price hotels as a policy of the company I work for. I can't tell you how relieved I was when I walked in the door at the Mission Inn. Wood furniture (not steel and plastic) firm mattress, plenty of room to change clothes, clean bathroom. QUIET at night. The front desk people couldn't have been kinder. I was very happy. If you're seeing a bunch of places at a similar price on a booking site, this is the place you want.

We only stayed for about 6 hours, but it was well worth it. The grounds were very well done and the room exceptionally well appointed and very well kept. The beds were very comfortable. Though we were late arrivals and without reservations, the staff was very accommodating. We were even able to get breakfast a little early, enabling us to get on our way in good time. The biggest little nicety, though, was the shower massage head. After a 12 hour drive, and with many more to go, the intent was to dispense with the shower, but it was too good to resist and was well worth the time. If only more motels would include this feature.

This was one of the best rooms we stayed in on our vacation. It has so much character and personality. The lobby and check in were great. After a brief conversation, the lady at the front desk was able to point us to a place to eat that was wonderful. I would recommend this Best Western Hotel to anyone.

We stayed here for two nights in July 2018 and really enjoyed it. The room was clean, comfortable, and furnished to our satisfaction. This appears to be a recent renovation of a much older property and that was part of the appeal. Many of the old building details in the rooms were still there and we found that interesting and homey. It is across the street from a railroad track, but we did not find this to be a problem as few trains were heard and those were during the day.

Needed a nice place to stay that was in a good location to doctor's office. Best Western was a good location to everything. It was quite, clean and staff was very helpful. Breakfast was wonderful as is at all Best Westerns.

I was really disappointed with this Best Western considering that my little boy looks forward to the pool more than anything when we travel. There wasn't mention on the website that their pool was closed for maintenance and when we checked in the clerk didn't bother to mention it either. When we realized it we complained to the 1-800 number and were able to get a refund and go find another hotel. I just think it's important for hotels to be up front about things like this.

Stayed here overnight. Loved the room decor, kept very well with the location (very southwestern). room was very clean and different from most best westerns I've stayed in, in that the sink area was separate from the toilet and tub/shower (these were in a separate room). the sink was divided from the main room by a wall housing the closet area. this hotel has an outside entry. towels were clean as well as linens. I thot my bed was a bit hard however my son said his was great. I heard the train across the street only once. there are other hotels built pretty much the same distance from the tracks. The lady that evening at the front desk was Cynthia. she was very professional and friendly. she helped us with a place to eat. Breakfast was served in an extremely nice restaurant (I have been in lots of best westerns and so far this is my favorite breakfast place). It was a very welcoming atmosphere, with southwestern decor and a raised eating area that was a bit more private from the other tables. the food was good with a bit more variety than other hotels. The two attendants were Dennise and Eunice. they were very attentive to remove clutter from out table and ask if we needed anything. As we left we gave out key to the man on duty named Alan. a very pleasant gentleman who was very friendly. all in all I liked this best western and would recommend it. and although we didn't go in the pool, it looked as though that area was well attended.

Great check in friendly clerk, room was large, fast wifi, good TV, clean bathroom and shower. Excellent free breakfast that starts early (6 AM). Stayed there previously and will continue when near Las Cruces.

We stopped in for one night along our NC to CA road trip. The place was beautiful, room was HUGE, awesome beds, top-notch breakfast, and the pool was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It's off the beaten path s but but is WELL worth it!

I stayed here twice in two weeks recently and was impressed both times. When I made my reservation Allan at the front desk assisted me and told me "our rooms are the largest in Las Cruces". The room I had was indeed huge and had been recently renovated. Joseph helped me in with my luggage and when I commented how tastefully the room was furnished and how remarkable the mosaic tile around the mirror ways he said he had done much of the work. The wood furniture was sturdy and practical. Wood beams were overhead and the microwave and refrigerator were in a cabinet. The room was well lit, had two beds with four pillows, lots of places to charge electronic devices and TV had great selection of channels. Towels and bedding were upgraded. I slept well and the room was very quiet as the rooms are set back from the street. Outside was a landscaped courtyard with an inviting outdoor pool, benches, and table and chairs. In the morning a delicious hot breakfast was served in a cheery dining room with tablecloths and huge windows. An attendant brought beverages and kept the food items replenished and stocked. Although the property is older it is well maintained. A one way circular drive leads to the rooms and you can park directly in front of your room. The motel is two stories (no elevator). Restaurants and historic Old Mesilla and Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park are nearby. I thought this property was a great value and look forward to staying here again as my stay was perfect.

I had a water leak in y home and needed to be removed for a couple days. My family and I stayed at the Best Western Mission Inn. It was very nice with clean rooms. The people were very accommodating and friendly. It has a very nice court tucked away behind the pool that is very well shaded with tables and a barbeque grill. The price was right and the service was excellent.

I reserved one night at this hotel for my daughter who was traveling. She checked in, went to her room, and immediately checked out because her room was crawling with cockroaches. She sent me video and I was appalled. No refund on the room either. Stay here only if you don't care what crawls all over you while you sleep.

The Mission Inn in Las Cruces is one of my favorite motels period. It is not a new property, but all the facilities are well maintained and work perfectly. The staff is very friendly and professional - I received an excellent restaurant recommendation. The room is large, comfortable, and attractive with the beamed ceiling. It is just a great experience to stay at the Mission Inn.

Room was updated and very clean and had a great lawn right by our room to walk our two dogs. The only problem was with the air conditioner. With 90 degree weather in Las Cruces, NM, our room was rather warm. It did cool down some during the night. We would probably stay there again.

The King Suite is HUGE!!! There were 2 rooms that were equal in size. One room had the king bed, large end tables, Dresser as well as 2 chairs (one with an ottoman) and an air conditioner. The other room had the bathroom sink/dressing area as well as the living room that had a large dresser, refrigerator, TV, huge coffee table, desk, couch and loveseat. The only negative was that the WiFi was spotty at best during late day/evening and only slightly better during the day. However, the room more than made up for the WiFi.

Nice large & clean room! There is a small hallway and then your bed (no hotel hallway shines into the room), there is a small refrigerator & freezer along with a microwave and counter outside the bathroom & a large area to put your luggage along with a place to hang clothes. The air conditioner unit is locate at the far end of the room - blowing on to the bed (no fighting over who gets the cold air.) Our room had a desk & office chair, couch & another large chair. For breakfast you can make your own pancakes or oatmeal, scrambled eggs & gravy, there is cold cereal & milk or you can choice yogurt, coffee & juice, english muffins, biscuits & bread for toast. Butter, cream cheese, peanut butter & jelly, syrup are also available. I would stay there again - the price was great too especially for the size of the room.

Stayed 5-13-18. Check in/out was easy with very pleasant staff on both occasions. The breakfast buffet was hot and good. There were ample choices. The room was nice in appearance with South Western style furniture. The bed was comfortable. Except for the 5 AM train whistle and passing train the place was quiet. The room was not clean to my expectations. The previous occupants trash remained upon our arrival. I could tell that an effort had been made to clean, but a small effort only. The bathroom exhibited the same cleaning results. The sink had lots of tiny ants walking all over the top and in the sink. In the morning I reported this to the front desk and the reply was they would pass this on to maintenance. Even though I stay mainly in BW Plus hotels I probably would pass on this one in the future. We would have asked for a different room except for having already brought in all our crap and we were extremely tired from the days events and just needed sleep

We've stayed many places in Las Cruces, but this motel is the best value. It's very clean and tidy. The location on Main St. is convenient. Most of the chain hotels in Las Cruces are right on either I-10 or I-25, a noisy location. While not too far from the highways, this motel is in a quieter location. The decor is southwestern, so there is some character. All the rooms have been tastefully redecorated recently. There is a nice grassy, shady area in the center of the motel with picnic tables. The staff was polite and competent. Maybe because it is an older hotel, the rooms are a little bigger. There is good attention to details in the room. The stopper in the sink even works which is not the case in many more expensive hotels. The beds are fine. There is a train that came (across the street) twice while we were there, but it was brief and didn't really bother us. The day we stayed, May 10th, there was no water in the pool, but they probably have fixed that by now. At $80 per night, we will make this hotel our regular stop when in Las Cruces.

If you're looking for excellent service, comfortable, homey rooms with decor that really reflects the area then this is your place. It is my favorite ever place to stay. If I ever get the chance to return to LLas Cruces I will stay here again.

Las Cruces was just a stop in the road on our journey but we were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. We ended up getting an upgrade to a double Queen suite. This room was fabulous with 2 bathrooms (yes 2 bathrooms) which made getting ready in the morning so much faster. Also a nice living room area, fridge, etc. This room was top floor in a corner so it was quiet. The dining area for their free breakfast was so nice! It's more of a nice restaurant feel rather than the usual cafeteria style room that you see in 99% of hotels that serve a free breakfast. Lots of options here including eggs, biscuits and gravy, and breakfast meat which I think was sausage if my memory serves correctly. When I saw the online photos before booking this hotel, I assumed the restaurant pictures were for a paying restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this is the dining area for the free breakfast. They didn't have to make it so nice but they did. This is why we'll be back when our travels bring us back this way. Tip: don't park under a tree. The birds here need immodium. I don't know what these local birds are eating, but whatever it is, it doesn't agree with them and we found out the hard way. We didn't get one or two droppings. We got the front half of our car painted in bird droppings. I've never seen anything like it. It was like bird diarrhea times 10 birds. Ended up having to spend $10 at the car wash before being able to hit the road again.

I continually return to this hotel because of the location, value, cleanliness, friendliness, and amenities. It is convenient to the interstate (I-10, a bit of a drive through town from I-25) and the University where most of my business takes place.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. The room was very spacious and decorated with a southwestern flair. It was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This is one of the nicest Best Westerns we've stayed at.

My wife and I visited Las Cruces for a weekend birthday celebration. Had no intention of staying at a Best Western, but the price was right and location was convenient for our visit. It has been decades since we have chosen a Best Western, and the experience far exceeded our expectations. Great staff, updated room, good hot breakfast. I vowed to return. We were a little concerned about the railroad tracks across the street, but that was no disruption to sleep. I was aware of two trains passing in two nights, so it wasn't a problem.

Hotel looks a bit dated but the stay was terrific, The Staff was attentive and personal. The room was large and comfortable. The Hotel is located next to the Railroad tracks so you will hear an occasional Train pass by in the evening.

Every thing was good could use firmer pillows. Lobby, room and the outside of the buildings was clean. Could use more snacks .Need some king rooms on the ground floor because my wife had trouble climbing the stairs.

My husband and I stayed here on our way from our NJ home to our AZ home March 31. We usually stay at BW and found this hotel in AAA book. It was everything we like. Nice big room comfortable bed SW décor decent breakfast and Great price. First time to Las Cruces but we will definetly be back. Staff friendly pool nice (but is was closed when we were there) We stayed in 5 difference motels coming from NJ and this was the BEST

A well maintained, clean and comfortable older style motel - but fully updated. Close to Interstates and Mesilla. Very friendly staff and good breakfast. Will definitely recommend. We will stay here again.

I was very impressed with the desk staff upon arrival and the morning staff on departure. The lobby was beautifully appointed with many items of historic worth accenting the Mission theme. I was quite impressed. Overall, the stay here was exceptional, the room comfortable and clean, internet fast, and breakfast was very good. We would plan to stay here again if we come this way.

The rooms were clean and all the expected amenities were available. The rooms are very quiet. We never heard noise from other guests. We did hear the sound of one train passing by each evening but it was not disruptive. The tracks are across the street.

Great location, easy 5min access to downtown, Mesilla and university district. Staff were very professional and courteous. Rooms are clean and accommodating. I will definitely be staying here again!!!

Great value, with spacious rooms. Comfy bed. Safe, secure feeling. Near RR tracks. Train passed by both nights about 1a, but was not much of a disruption. I'll stay here again, over other hotels in the area.

A family of 5 (4 adults 1 child) has plenty of room to spread out. The price per night is great. The hot breakfast has a lot of variety and the attendant does a great job of keeping everything filled.

We recently brought a large tour group to visit the area and we stayed at the Best Western Mission Inn. Everyone was pleased with their stay there. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfasts were great, and all the staff were very friendly. We will definitely book our next stay at the Best Western Mission Inn!

Great motel with outside door access. Nice decor in lobby. Nancy at front desk very accommodating by lending us her cell when our card was declined. The room is big and nicely decorated, separate counter and sink from bathroom. 3 nice big windows in front. The breakfast lady was very helpful always picking up and supplied me with a few gluten free options.

Mission Inn is the only place we stay at when we go to Las Cruces!! The rooms are great and vey clean. Breakfast is good for buffet style--could have something besides link sausage though!! Front Desk clerk was friendly and fast!! Will stay again if the need arises.

The hotel is beautiful, but the staff was horrible. My GMC Daniel 3500 was stolen from the parking lot and was, spoken to and looked down on by hotel staff. The manager was the only kind one. This is a great hotel but no one should ever be treated the way, why make someone feel worse in an already bad situation.

We spent two nights here and were extremely pleased. The room was very spacious , clean, and quiet. I liked that you could park by your room... plus it made it extra easy for taking the dogs over to the grassy area just beyond the row of cars. The staff were all very friendly and they had a hot buffet breakfast, including scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, plus all the regular things. Great flat screen TV and HBO channels. No problem with internet. I wouldn't hesitate a minute to return here.

The room is spacious with toilet & tub/shower separated from the sink & mirror. The bed was comfortable although the TV was small & at a rather high & far position to be easily seen from the bed. The biggest problem with this place is the location across from the tracks for the freight trains. It feels like they're coming through the room. Most of the newer properties are only 1/2-1 mile away and in overall nicer settings. Take a look at a detailed map before booking here if you are a light sleeper.

This was my second stay at this property, and it was good enough to make this my choice for future stays in Las Cruces. The breakfast was very good with a great selection of hot and cold items aplenty. The room was well-furnished and very nice. Service from employees was exceptional start to finish. Wi-fi connection was consistent and strong. I like the vibe and decor of this motel and its location, too. It's easy to get to most places in Las Cruces from here without being located right next to the freeway. The only issue with my stay was a shower head that seemed somewhat clogged by hard water. The water sprayed all over the shower (and beyond the curtain) and I was unable to adjust the shower head to any discernible spray pattern. This motel is a great value, and it will continue to be my motel of choice.

I'm genuinely surprised by all these positive reviews and I'm wondering why our experience was so different. We were under the impression that the rooms were recently renovated, but it sure didn't look that way. The staff was really lovely, but the room was stinky, poorly lit, and cold. The toilet clogged, the tub didn't drain, the tv was tiny and old, the furniture was broken. I woke up in the middle of the night unable to breathe, I assume due to the mold and the window unit heater that cranked loudly all night. As we were leaving the next morning we realized that one of our thin front windows was actually open the whole freezing night (it had been hidden by the curtain)- the catch didn't work, so we couldn't have closed it if we wanted to. Tidy grounds, friendly employees, but otherwise - just awful. I'm not that picky when it comes to inexpensive road trip motels, but our room was such a bummer!

The rooms are large, well appointed & nice. It is nice to be able to pull up & park in front of your room, easy unloading your luggage. A little noisy due to the train across the hwy. Nice reception, above average included free breakfast. I would stay here again.

I really enjoyed my recent stay at this hotel. The staff was great and the room was clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was served in this lovely restaurant-style setting (The Blue Agave Room) and was plentiful and delicious. Fortunately the hotel is located a few blocks away from some major road construction going on downtown, so I was able to get around town and avoid that. Also, the motel is located not far from Mesilla, which I enjoyed visiting as well. Although it did not bother me, it should be noted that the location is near the railroad tracks, so you will hear trains from time to time. They have some pet-friendly rooms and a seasonal outdoor pool as well.

Great room and great employees. Clean, breakfast was good, reasonably quiet too. The streets of Las Cruces are not the best lit so finding this place in the dark was a little more of a task but well worth it.

Absolutely the cleanest hotel room I've ever stayed in and that includes some high end hotels. The bathroom had no stray hairs, the towels were soft and new and the beds were amazing. I won't leave out the great front desk staff either. I recommend staying here.

The Best Western Mission Inn has the kind of outstanding decor you expect in a boutique hotel or bed and breakfast. The beautiful chosen decorative items and colors and woods in the lobby continue into the rooms as well. We were blown away by the beautfy of this motel. Obviously an older one-story roadside property, it has been brought up to date and decorated with care. We appreciated that it is a dog-friendly property, and particularly that there is a large grassy area with picnic table and large shade trees beside the central swimming pool. The free breakfasts at Best Western are way above the quality of free breakfasts served at other motels, and this one upped the game by having a two-level dining room that afforded people a bit of privacy. The food area was constantly cleaned and stocked. Beds were comfy, electrical outlets plentiful, a small fridge and a microwave were handy, the room was spotlessly clean and the bathroom fixtures looked brand new. The location away from the freeway, but just a few blocks from the intersection of I-10 and I-40 meant the motel is quiet as well as convenient. We did have one concern. We were there in colder weather, and the room a/c-heating unit did not have a control to turn off the fan, so we had a blast of warm air for a while, followed by a blast of cold air. The heating/cooling units obviously are the last thing to be upgraded in this beautiful motel. I hope the owners will take care of them before we return. I think on our next road trip we will go out of our way to have a stop in Las Cruces just so we can stay at the Mission Inn.

This is a nice, well maintained hotel. It is an older hotel, but they have it in very good condition. Fairly easy to get to, and wasn't right next to the interstate, which I liked, so it was quieter. The breakfast was better than at most hotels I have stayed at. Hot breakfast (scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffle maker), with other good choices for cold foods. I thought is was a very good value. We would stay here again.

This Best Western -Mission Inn is the best. The night staff, Teddy, was very accommodating. He even tried to save us money. The room was very clean, always spacious, newly painted, and an updated bathroom. I love this hotel/motel. It's always quiet, and we feel safe. The breakfast is unbelievably good and well maintained. We will be back!

I have not stayed in a Best Western for 17 years because of a bad experience and swore I wouldn't again. This was my best choice in Las Cruces with my two dogs so I had to. Great property, room was nice and large, I loved that they had a grass area for pets, and the staff was really friendly. I would go back to this property but no other Best Western.

We were impressed with the welcome we received and the effort given to solve a problem with the TV. The décor was Southwestern but above average. Good breakfast in restaurant environment. A relaxing stay!

We stop in Las Cruces on some of our cross-country jaunts, as it is about half way between our home in San Diego and our next stops in Austin or San Antonio. This hotel is close to the I-10 highway, and is a very good value. They include a good buffet breakfast with the stay. The room is pretty basic, but it is clean and well-maintained. Overall, this hotel represents a convenient, good value stay.
