« Some trouble but settled »

We stayed here for a wedding in the area. We were impressed with our room. it was bright and clean. Wifi is terrible but it is in many places in Southern France. Breakfast is not included which is too bad. nice pools (2) The only issues we had to deal with is we needed to extend our visit and we forced to change rooms. This was just bothersome and our next room was not as good as our first. Needed help with my wedding speech which I was saying in French (I don't speak french) and the young girl at the desk on Saturday September 24th was amazing and took the time to help me.

    « Ok »

Easy to find, 15mins walk from ISLS with large private parking. We stayed for 2 nights in a "superior" double room, which was on the ground floor in between the 2 pools. There was a small covered terrace with a small table/chairs. The room was very dark and seemed to part of the original hotel (as it felt old and dated) although the room was clean the brown decor and furnishings didn't not help and the covered terrace made it worse. Sleep quality good and the hotel quiet. Bathroom small and old. Our room safe was broken and although reported to reception it was never fixed. The pools were clean and not busy, there were also 2 sun loungers by the river. Breakfast was ok, decent range of continental items, tea/coffee plus eggs & bacon. We found the free wi-fi very poor as we could not connect from either of our devices the whole stay. The walk to town is easy with plenty of restaurants and antique shops, we chose not to eat in the hotel as the dinner menu was very small. The hotel could be fabulous but needs lighting up, dark dingy bedrooms (even if they are clean) are never what anyone wants.

« Do Not Stay Here »

This is a worn down and poorly maintained property. A lot of attention to the older building where our room was located is long over due. The stairwell light did not come on...hallway light was turned off when we arrived. Very spooky feeling. Bathtub has a disgusting rubber stopper. Too far from town to walk to see the great little town. We did not stay the second night we had booked...too disappointed after the first night. Certainly not the 4 star property it claims. In reviewing the photos published on the BW website, not a one appears to show where we sleep.

    « Fabulous Hotel »

Wonderful setting a twenty minute walk from the centre. The rooms are spacious and modern with plenty of storage space. Two pools and many sitting areas in the grounds . Peaceful location Breakfast is self service but plentiful

    « Great Restaurant »

This Best Western was also very nice. Must say the Best Westerns in Europe are totally different than those in the States. This hotel consisted of different buildings. The one we stayed in was recently renovated and the room was very clean. The restaurant on the property was very good, we really enjoyed our meal sitting outside and enjoying the atmosphere sitting outside. The service at the hotel was excellent

« Peaceful location close to town »

A typical chain hotel, large clean rooms with comfortable beds, water kettle, coffee and tea but other than that, nothing special. The price was reasonable considering we were in the middle of the busy summer season. We liked the location because it was very peaceful and not too far from the city center. Basically a 3 minute drive. However, finding a parking spot in town was a challenge. The staff was also very friendly and efficient. Breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of choices to choose from. We had dinner at their restaurant the night before as we didn't want to go out again after we've settled in. The food was tasty and beautifully presented.

« be sure to check your bill before leaving »

The place was close to the town centre, with a very peaceful ambience. The room and the hotel was ok, not much different from Best Western in the North America. The staff on site was very friendly and helpful. I gave it 2 stars because I was not impressed by the way they handle the overcharged bill. On the departure day, we were in a rush to leave, and didn't think much of the price we paid for 5 days until when we arrived in Paris and went through my receipt. I immediately phoned the hotel and told them they overcharged me by 3 day breakfasts and only gave me part of the receipts.( 2 pages in total, but I only got 1) The lady we talked to said they would refund to my credit card no problem, and asked me to mail her the credit card number just to be sure it matches their records. Done that, and then was told they couldn't refund to my credit card successfully for some reason, and asked me to give them my bank information so they could do the bank wire. I did that, and follows up with at least 3-4 mail. They returned my mail and said it's been passed to their Marseille location for it's where their accounting is, and made sure it will be quick processed. It's been a month since they received my bank info. , and I still see no refund in my bank account.

    « Fabulous ! »

Location is very rural . So peaceful , a beautiful setting next to a river .The staff were so helpful . Our room was spacious and immaculate. The restaurant was first class , the service fabulous . The most delicious menu and really good value for money . We ate on the terrace . You could easily walk into the most pretty village . We will definitely return.

« Ok but room needs improvement »

While the hotel has been renovated and his clean which is one of the most important criteria, the room needs improvement. Only 1 plug in the room located under the desk make it complicated if you have to charge phone, pc and others electronics. The TV could have been larger... and installed in a better position ...in the corner, it make it difficult to watch (and small size doesn't help)...

« An excellent place, good location to visit the region »

The rooms were clean, accessible, and well-maintained with a small inviting patio to share a quiet breakfast with my best friend and husband. It's close enough to the town centre to cycle in for meals, but restaurant food and service were so-so. Lots of great restos in town but make sure you know if the one you want is open... The river running past the hotel was lovely and the grounds were well-maintained.

    « the little gem »

I stayed here for 5 days and was very pleased with the staff, the restaurant, and the room. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The bed was really comfortable and housekeeping was fantastic. It even has a towel warmer in the bathroom. The toiletries were natural products with a good quality. There is a court yard (parking lot) with trees and flowers and in the back of the hotel, there is river where you can take a stroll and enjoy the tranquility. I felt very safe staying in this hotel.

« Not your American Best Western »

In the States Best Western can be dodgy at best. From appearances all over France, it would seem that is not the case over there. We stayed one night at this lovely property and wish there had been more. The rooms were contemporary and very very comfy with great shower and amenities. All of the buildings out lie from a pretty canal with ducks and nice place to stroll before or after dinner in one of the finest hotel restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of eating. Superb kitchen and staff. The locals go there just for dinner. Breakfast was the best we had in a 2.5 week tour of Spain and France. Too cool for the pools but there we a couple and looked very inviting. Our BW points were eligible and collected more. Super value.

« Worth every penny - best hotel in the area »

Located on the banks of the Sorgue river, a few hundreds meters from the town itself. A great spot for star trips. The whole complex is planned in perfect harmony with the nature around and gives the feeling of a great vacation. The rooms quite comfortable without the splendor and elegance of 4 star hotels, but the rating is justified and reflects the comfort, the atmosphere, the scenery and everything else expected from a high class hotel.

« Superior service at a very nice motel »

I stayed at this hotel recently and left an expensive and sentimentally valuable necklace behind. I called the hotel when I realized I had left it; they found it and mailed it back to me in the US. I'm sorry to say that it would probably have just been gone if left in most US hotels. In addition to this nice service, the hotel itself was lovely. It's a bone fide motel - each room has outdoor access - but the rooms are very nice and seem recently renovated and most have balconies that face an open area with a view of the Sorgue. The restaurant was also very good! It's a little bit away from the center of Isle Sur la Sorgue, but if you have a car or bike, it's no problem. We were on bikes, so appreciated the bike parking out front and the security gate which kept bikes safe at night. I would definitely stay here again.

« Excellent place for family but... »

The hotel is excellent for a family with 2 swimming pool. The family room was big and with 2 separate rooms but only one bath room! Direct access in the garden. The breakfast is good but the personnel is not the most experienced one. Each day we has to ask for egg cups every day as well as for other easy things... The feedback from the personel was not very friendly and the feeling was we were anoying them with our request!

« Quiet spot on the river 2kms from Isle sur la Sorgue »

This hotel has different buildings in the grounds. The main hotel has older rooms, but still clean and very quiet. There are two swimming pools and gardens leading down to the river. Plenty of free parking, and only a short drive into the centre for the market and restaurants. The evening meal was unexpectedly good, but the service was rather casual. It is necessary to book, as we had to wait half an hour for a table. Good service at the reception.

« This was a great choice of hotel! »

Very little to fault, the hotel is peaceful, straightforward and well run. Rooms was large and all worked with occasional weak internet. Location is 15 mins walk from the charming town, close to good road links to the area and free of road noise. The ducks are noisy on the river! Hotel grounds are extensive, private and secure alongside the river. 10/10 stay.

« Such a pretty place by the river! »

Very nice hotel - great room with a terrace, two pools, very quiet spot and we even had our own cat! Excellent restaurant as well. I wish the people at the front desk were as nice as the people at the restaurant.

    « Superb Hotel »

Great location. Twenty minute walk to town where there is a wide choice of restaurants. Pleasant grounds. Lovely hotel excellent breakfast . Only complaint was that the internet connection was poor. Would highly recommend.

    « Many pluses »

A nice place to stay. Many good features. Hard to first find the entrance even though we GPS. The parking was not as convenient as we expected and the use of it and the discount for guests was not accurately explained. This deficiency was later corrected but did cause frustration. There is no entry from the main street my the ocean.

« Relaxing clean with nature at back door »

We are two couples from Australia travelling around South France. We loved Domaine Petite Isle, the staff were professional and helpful, rooms clean with comfortable huge beds, modern bathrooms. Pity about some of the reviews, some people are never happy. Stop complaining about wifi...if you want good wifi stay at home Remember where you are, in a small country town and open your eyes to what the place has to offer. We loved it and will come back

« Could be Great but »

We are in this town Five times a year on business?. Usually like this hotel but the WIFI is HORRIBLE?.. So darn slow! Actually, slow is NOT the word?.Seems like it was down most of the time. ALSO-Friday nights they have live music that lasts until 11:00 so if you have children or have to work on Saturdays like we do and have to get up early you are in trouble. I called the front desk with no avail. LOUD LOUD music until such a late hour is not good in my book. Be careful not to call the hotel direct of the price will be much much higher. Use one of the travel sites. Trust me!

    « Great stay »

I stayed here for a weekend for a friend's wedding nearby. Lovely hotel, by the river, with 2 pools and near to isle sur le sorge which is definitely worth a visit. Great on a Sunday when the market is out.

    « A bit old »

a bit of distance from the central of the town but nice with a big garden area. Rooms and facilities are old. Room was dusty, seemed not to be used for some time. there were little choice in breakfast.

    2
« Low service, low quality, low value for money »

Room had no curtains to darken the room. Also we asked for 2 single beds, however got 1 double which we could separate but no sheets. Asked for sheets, but had to make our bed ourselves, although we went to reception to ask, also no blanket for the second bed. Would certainly not recommend it. Staff is indifferent and zero customer oriented.

    3
« Moderate hotel, too far from the town centre! »

The hotel is just outside L'Isle sur le Sorgue, about twenty minutes walk, however the walk is along a main road with sidewalks only in parts so I'd advise caution for safety. Comprised of several low level buildings its arranged around footpaths to the different units. Ample parking and pleasant staff make the stay better, however the hotel is "tired" and could do with some refurbishment. I'd cite the fact that in our three person room the toilet door would not shut. When I say, not shut I mean the door was physically to big for the frame. I mentioned it to reception and the lady blew out her lips in a way only the French can, I think it means "I hear you, you're fussy, I'll do nothing about it, calm down, no big deal, life's too short..." Our room was somewhat clean, I say this as we found dog biscuits on the floor which one would presume would be vacuumed up if cleaning was thorough. The back of the wardrobe was also very dusty and needed to be properly cleaned. Breakfast is a modest continental affair with outdoor seating near the pool or indoor as you wish. The place seemed popular with both tourists and coach parties as well as other travellers and although we didn't eat dinner here the local Rotary were having a big bash so the food must be reasonable I'd presume. The place is inexpensive as are most Best Westerns but I'd rather have paid more to be in town, trouble is, accommodation is sparse in the town itself and we booked late. Be prepared for a schlep into town in the summer heat and don't rely on being able to get taxis, there do to seem to be many!

    « An enjoyable visit »

This hotel is situated within easy walking distance of Isle sur Sorgue, a pleasant trail beside the river. The hotel is very pleasantly laid out with plenty of places to sit and two swimming pools. Every where is clean and staff are friendly and helpful, even when we wanted to sit in the garden with a beer when they were closing the bar. The staff were not always evident, but could easily be found when required. The best aspect was the restaurant, with lovely food and attentive helpful staff. Unfortunate that these days, sitting outside means sitting with smokers.

    « Highly recommended »

With one exception, this hotel was top-notch. It is in a gorgeous area bisected by rivers and streams, modern facilities and warm front desk personnel. The only exception was the breakfast, which seemed a bit disorganized and wanting. Regardless, this BW is VERY highly recommended. One other note is that it is a long walk from town, so on Market Days, it's best to get to L'Isle Sur La Sorgue early re: parking.

    « Lovely hotel »

spacious, quiet, lovely grounds bordering the river that runs through L'Isle sur la Sorgue France. Spacious modern rooms in the newer buildings; all rooms have either a balcony or patio. The hotel nicely matches and incorporates the pastorial ambience of Provence. Dining is available out doors or inside. The hotel is about 1 mile from the center of town- a bit too far to walk but driving and parking in town was never a problem. A nice alternative to in town hotels if you're driving a car.

    « Great Base »

First trip to Provence . We spent three nights and had a wonderful time. Close enough to Avigonon and other points of interests. The towns Sunday Market is fabulous. We did not know about it before we arrived. Staff was very helpful in telling us about it and how to walk to it. The hotel filled up Saturday night due to the Sunday Market .

    « Nice Place »

We made a last minute reservation here from a website while in the south of France and were happy to find a room. We were able to upgrade to a nicer room with no additional charge. The staff was friendly, the room clean with all necessary amenities and the grounds were pleasant. It was an easy walk to town. If we were staying in the area again we would go back.
