    « Very comfortable »

We really enjoyed our stay. Despite the staff being busy with a function, they bought our room service meal in very good time. The pool area is clean, but the pool is very cold! but after swimming a bit you warm up. The reception staff were very helpful. The room was clean and cleaned every day. We did not use the restaurant so cannot review. The hotel, during our stay, was very busy with various functions. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the staff were very helpful. If we were to visit Krakow again, would definately return to this hotel. This hotel was very quiet of a night time.

    « Perfektly 4 stars hozel »

This hotel has 4 stars, it was very good. The beleakadt was so ornate, there were so many salami, chese, musli , cookies and so on... The hotel it wasn't in The center, bit The taxi is cheap. The wellness has bad opening time, The sauna was poor. Auswitz is near fotók 50-60 km, Wirth car isn't probleme. I recommend it you

    « Nice hotel »

Nice and clean rooms, very helpful staff speaking English, good price. The hotel has really nice pool and sauna. In fairness it is more like a 3.7 points but I rounded it up to 4. I do recommend this hotel...

    « Welcoming and comfortable »

We were the leaders of a large group that stayed at the Best Western Premier during the recent World Youth Day held in Kraków. The hotel staff were very patient, helpful and accommodating when considering the many varied and diverse requests from our pilgrimage group. The hotel was very clean and the rooms spacious. The hotel has a bar and restaurant that served a wide variety of beverages and food. The staff had a good grasp of English and appreciated it when clients attempted to communicate in Polish - even when it was very bad Polish. The staff were extremely helpful when some of our group required a Doctor. While the hotel is located away from restaurants and facilities these were located only a few stops away by bus. The hotel is centrally located to all of Krakow's major tourist attractions. We have no hesitation in recommending the Best Western Premier to travellers wanting a very good quality hotel at a good price. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

« Nice hotel, Friendly and Helpful staff »

I felt that this hotel was nicely appointed for what I expected in Poland. We were there for a conference which was held at the hotel. It was nice to be at a hotel in Europe with air conditioning! It has a nice restaurant (we ate there twice). The hotel also provided breakfast as part of the room rate. What was exceptional about the hotel was the staff. Several conference attendees arrived very late one evening. The hotel staff help arranged for food as the hotel's kitchen was working on a banquet (600 people). Further, when a local tour company was unable/unwilling to fulfill their obligation, the front desk staff worked to resolve the issue. In particular, the front desk duty office, Mikal Wator, when above and beyond to make things happen!! Thank you Mikal and Best Western Premier!!

« Not good for summer »

This hotel is not good for staying in the summer season. The air conditioning was very bad, all room was not cool enough. We move to another room but same condition. The hot topic in the breakfast room is the Air conditioning. This maybe the best hotel for the winter but not for the summer

    « Sixth birthday »

Miles from everywhere hotel informed us the restaurant would be closed on the 17th of June went out returned at eleven o'clock to be told that the bar was all closed to the hotel guests I asked if a member of staff could get us a drink told no they had a private party going on there was no room service told to go too bed kept awake till 0520 tired to phone reception several times to know avail witch I find shocking it could I've been a emergency complained to reception next day told he inform manager received no feedback

    « Nice but.............. »

This is a nice hotel, however do not personally feel it deserves it's 4 star rating Its clean and staff are friendly, although some of the staff speak English its very poor and when asking for a face cloth for example at reception I was handed a tampon (it did make me giggle and the young man was a bit confused with my giggle) The bathrooms although functioning and clean in our one it did need a few repairs. The bedroom was clean as was the bedding etc but sockets were hanging off the walls which would be high concern if you have children, Would I stay here again ? YES (but would take my own face cloth) would I recommend to others? possibly not overall the Hotel could do with a bit of TLC

    « Clean but remote. »

The rooms were clean and comfortable but the location is distant from the main city square and attractions necessitating a twenty minute taxi ride. The bar staff were usually nowhere to be seen and on one occasion when a lady did arrive, we were totally ignored while she stacked coffee cups eventually, with reluctance, she acknowledged us but proved unable to operate a corkscrew. Staff in general did not seem happy and we felt we were seen as an inconvenience to many of them.

    « For a single night stopover »

One of many such hotels one can find on outskirts. The room was standard, nothing special. Hotel seems to be popular among bus tours groups. There was quite loud and lengthy discussion either in corridor or in the room next to mine. It was quite a challenge to find the place where the breakfast was served . The floor in that meeting room where the breakfast was served for "individual " guests was screaming for good wacuumcleaning. Would be nice if they would have somewhere complimentary cup of coffee for the guests leaving earlier then breakfast starts. The parking was free, WiFi was working .

« City trip to Kraków »

We made this trip to visit the auschwitz-birkenau kamp, wat was impressive ,we also visited the wielicka salt mine.Krakow it self was a nice beautiful city with shops, modern and old polish shops, also verry nice bars and restaurants .The hotel was outside the centre but with a taxi (cheap price) we had a 10 min. drive, near the hotel there was a big shopping mall.in the centrum you also can visit the OSCAR SCHINDLER factory .and kazimierz the jewish part of the city

    « A decent hotel »

This hotel is very nice. Rooms are nice, spacious and comfortable and one feels very good being a guest here. The biggest problem with this hotel is its distance from the city center which makes it a good place for business conferences and all kinds of retreats but one being a turist and wanting to explore Krakow would not want to be stationed here. Food is very nice and tasty and the staff is extremly helpful and nice.

    « Very nice hotel ! »

Room was okay, breakfast was more than okay ! Servicers very friendly. A little bit too far from the center of krakau. They help you with everything you need, outstanding good service the whole day ! Super !

    « A huge mistake »

We booked the room for one night when we travelled to Kraków to watch the Final Four in Volleyball Champions League. The check-in time was for 2.00 p.m., we arrived at 13.30. The first shock was when entering the hotel's lobby that was messy, filled in with all types of stationery, board games and books for kids placed all around the lobby on the metal stands. It resulted in an impression that we came to the wrong place. Nevertheless, we headed to the reception to see if (when lobby and restaurant were unavailable to us) we can sit in there to get some rest. Our room was not ready, too! Moreover, a nice young receptionist told us to come back in half-an-hour, or "even better, in an hour, or later" as she said. We protested, because we were planning to get to the arena, where the volleyball games were taking place, and I said we'll be back at 2.00 p.m. As I mentioned, the restaurant was also closed, no chairs or anything to sit down. When I got someone from the hotel service, she found us a table in the corner not taken by the companies crowding up the lobby. The only positive part was that the room was really clean. But its furniture, carpets, arm-chairs looked like they had their best days something like 15 years ago. Mini-bar was empty and the fridge not working at all. I expected from Best Western hotels chain at least two things quality of service and quality of room. They failed in both. Considering the fact there are plenty hotels in Kraków, I would suggest finding another one, maybe more expensive (not necessarily), where value for money is a standard.

« Good hotel with great breakfast! »

Stayed here for a mixture of business and Leisure, having stayed at the hotel next door when it was a Holiday Inn Express a few years ago. The Hotel next door no longer is a HI Express, and is now a Best Western like this hotel, but both hotels continue to be operated by the same company, but the Premier was a little cheaper so I stayed here. Reception welcome was friendly and receptionist offered to make invoice out to my business if required and said they were always avaliable for any assistance throughout my stay should I need it. Staff in general were very friendly and welcoming as you would expect from a four star hotel. My room was good, but suffered from one chair that was a little bit creaky and the leg was not steady on, but other chairs were fine. I booked the room as a double room for one person use and ended up with two single beds stuck together with two headboards seperated by a 5cm or so gap. Not ideal but no big issue. I requested a room with shower, since most rooms I read have combi bath/shower, and my request was honoured. Bathroom was good and no complaints there. Wifi worked well and was very simple to use. Breakfast was a strength of this hotel. I have never seen since a wide selection. Hot options included sasuages, mushrooms, tomatos, scrambled egg, pancakes, waffles, soft-boild eggs, hard boiled eggs. Every different type of salad imaginable was on offered, many types of cheese, ham, cold sausage, cereal and bread, juice, hot drinks and fruit (try the bananas in sauce) and sweet cakes and beads and a lot more I probably cannot remember. Honestly the only problem was choosing what to eat and not to eat! The only other issue I encountered was that I left my room at 11:20 one morning and left sign on door asking to clean my room and came back to my room not have being serviced. In the hotel guidebook it stated it would not be cleaned if the sign to clean the room was not hung out before 12pm but I believe the hotel had a conference this day so this may have contributed. All in all a good experience, I'd certainly come back and can recommend this Hotel, but due to the bed issue and the housekeeping issue I can only give it a 4 out of 5 rather than full marks.

« Very smart and clean »

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while we were visiting Kraków. It is a bit out of the centre but there is a very regular bus that passes close by every 10mins in the daytime, and costs around zl2.50 per person (cheap as chips) if you ask at reception they give you a map with the bus route on. Room was very clean and warm, we requested double bed but got a twin room, as stated on the booking it may not be possible for double. There is a full range for breakfast both hot and cold, and it was beautiful, they have a fab chef! Altogether we had a lovely stay in this hotel and couldn't fault anything including staff, but if you are looking to be close to the city centre then this probably isn't the right one.

« Very nice and comfortable rooms. »

Hotel is a bit away from the center of city but it's really nice place, good food, nice rooms, free wi-fi in rooms. very friendly staff.... Beds are very comfortable, bed linen is changed every day also and towels too.

    « Just Brilliant November. »

This hotel was really first class. excellent full breakfast The menu in the restaurant was stunning must have a brilliant Chef. All staff spoke English. The most perfect location and happy staff. . The only thing is we had to go home,

    « Big tour groups »

Was a taxi distance from city center. However we were given instructions to a nice mall.We were able to walk there after our tour was cancelled. How ever because of large group there we were disturbed a lot.Once when Kids were sitting outside in corridor in order to get reception on poor Wifi which was not good inside room.Woken early morning with knocks on door when they were rounding up group.Think the worst for me, was when we decided to eat at restaurant after a tour but were not able to be accommodated. We there fore ordered room service. When food came soups were Luke warm.Entree was served 2 minutes later.None off the plates were covered with domes. So we ended up with cold food severed under unhygienic service.

« Good choice but a bit remote »

This is one of those chain hotels, when you always know what you will receive without any surprises. Modern and spacious room with Wi-Fi and flat TV, etc. Two things that you should consider when choosing this hotel: 1. If a fitness room is something that you are looking for in hotels, you will miss it in this hotel (however they it has a swimming pool); 2. The location is a bit far from the center. All together it's a good choice.

    « Cold in October »

We stayed in Best Western Premier Krakow Hotel for two nights in the beginning of October. We stayed as a family with my wife and our son. The room and the hotel itself was so cold that room temperature was about 17 ? 18 degrees celcius at most. The breakfast and the meals were good and delicious but because of the coldness of hotel we were afraid to go to the SPA and pool floor. There was an inside pool in the hotel but we couldn't swim. Hotel was settled in a convention area that there was another hotel and some sales shops. There was a big park with two nice playgrounds for children and walking area about ten minutes away from the hotel. There was also a big shopping center with IKEA, Saturn and other big and small shops about 1 km away from the hotel.

    « Modern comfort »

Rooms are OK, and comfortable. Lobby's style looks cold and with sovietic style... The restaurant is however just average. Service is very often not very professional. The hotel hosts a lot of large seminars and conventions, and in such case don't expect a lot of attention from the staff, totally focused on this only, and almost don't care about you. Far away from the center, hotel is good for business, but not for tourism.

    3
    « Clogged »

Just an average best western hotel, my tiny bathroom was clogged for 2 days, they said it was unclogged the morning I reported but the same, I requested for another room but not granted, the third day they unclogged the bathroom. Rooms are tiny, breakfast is average.

    « Touring Krakow »

Stayed here as part of a group touring Poland. Thus the fact that the hotel was far from the city centre didn't matter. Nondescript service. Only had breakfast which was just above average. Standard rooms with the usual amenities.

    « Hearty Breakfast!! »

I was there on the New Year's Eve 2015 with my boyfriend. We were in a double room, we had some problems with heating, but they got us another room in a heart beat. The room was clean, so was the toilette, you have everything you need basically. (including complimentary coffee and tea, which is always plus from me :) )) The best was the breakfast!! So much vegetables!! And the waiters are super quick and the buffet is always full. Bad sides: It's a little far away from the center and there is now restaurants and shops nearby. But you have buses very frequently and Taxi is pretty cheap. TV program :( everything on polish.

    « Go for it!!! »

This hotel is excellent. The rooms are comfortable, big and clean. The breakfast is unique and very tasty. The reception staf are welcoming, nice, helpful in each problems we had. They are so willing to help and make you satisfy, that you fill like home. Always with a smile. The hotel is not located in city center, but there is a bus stop about 5 minutes walk from the hotel, and the bus takes you to krakowska shopping center, which is 10 minutes walking to old city center. Near the hotel, about 1 kilometer walking there is a big shopping center.waiting to come back!!!

    « Good value hotel »

Ul Opolska 14a is located outside the city centre in a quiet location with a good car park. Being out of the city does not create a problem and in fact is a plus if you are visiting further afield. There is a regular, cheap and reliable bus service only 10 minutes walk away and the hotel staff will point you in the right direction. The 130 bus runs every 15 minutes and can cost as little as 3.80 zolte for a single fare. Just make sure you have change! In 20 minutes you will be in town. The buses run until around 11pm so this hotel location is not an issue. The hotel staff are very helpful and speak excellent english. The rooms are spacious and clean. As this is outside town don't expect an exotic view but that was not a problem for us. There are safes in the room which are useful. Plenty of space in the bathrooms and the showers are hot and reliable. The air conditioning at the time of our visit was a little tempermental but it was extremely hot and everyone was using it at full pelt. Where there was a problem the manager quickly sent the maintainance man and they managed to get it working. Breakfast is buffet style and there was plenty of choice. Do expect to be moved from the restaurant if there are a large amout of coach parties there but you will be directed to another function room. A word about coach parties. We were there at the height of the season and this hotel is used extensively by large coach parties. Most of which behaved respectfully to other guests. However at the time of our stay there was a disruptive party there who were extremely noisy and rude and spent the night shouting in the corridors. The hotel manager did deal with this but they had to speak with the tour manager who was difficult to locate. This did cause a restless night for my group. If you don't like large groups of coach parties in your hotel than this may be not the Hotel for you in the height of the season. It is probably a lot quieter out of season.
