    « Family Holiday November 2016 »

We came here from the UK. Rooms are very clean and airy. Stayed here as a family of 6 and the 3 bedroomed villa was surprisingly roomy. Friendly staff and excellent facilities on site. Villas were cleaned daily and to a high standard. The pool was crystal clear and well maintained, the hot tub was lovely too. All 6 of us would highly recommend this resort. Very close to all the big attractions and easy access to shops. Already looking at going back in 2018. Our children especially loved seeing the alligator, turtles and squirrels.

    « Family vacation »

First time visit to Orlando, this place was amazing, the villa was very spacious, clean, airy and a nice central place to restaurants bars and activities. We hired a car but there is a free bus that goes 9.15 and 11am to the Disney parks and picks you back up from the parks around 11pm. The grounds around the Saratoga were lovely, with a walkway bridge with a lake and some wildlife about, the highlight was seeing an alligator in the lake, a turtle and squirrels, staff were friendly and always of service.

    « Loved it here! »

Check in was easy. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and pretty big. Parking was a little difficult late at night. Although the resort was busy, it was quiet and grounds were very clean. One of the bedrooms had a problem with the ac and the internet access did not work at all while we were there. Overall we left very happy and definitely would stay again!

« Great for the whole Family Friendly including Fido »

I have stayed at this resort several times as it is one of the nicest and most affordable pet friendly spots in Kissimmee. My last visit was Veteran's weekend 2016. The staff has been both professional and accommodating on all of my visits. We usually get a 2 bedroom, 2 bathrooms with a fully Kitchen equipped, duplex (with a lake view) which can accommodate up to six people comfortably. The rooms are clean and the grounds are well cared for. The location is PREFECT it is walking distance to a Target and other stores. There is a Publix grocery store less than 5 minutes away as well as other shopping outlets.

« The reviews and reality do not match! »

After an extensive search, I decided to book a 3-bedroom unit based on the price and outstanding reviews. Check-in was a breeze and the staff was very courteous. When we opened the door, the HVAC was set at 61 degrees! We had to wear jackets and it was just ridiculous. I cannot even imagine the waste of energy to cool a unit to that temperature. As we walked through the unit, there is one bedroom with a VERY small bathroom (master), the kitchen had a strange layout (sink is facing the wall instead of facing the living room), and no dining area! There were two bar stools, which had huge tears in both of them. How to they expect everyone in a 3-bedroom unit to eat together when there are only two barstools and no dining area?! Literally, the unit is only 10-12 feet wide and felt VERY tight. The living room was also very small and there was room to seat 3, unless you want to squeeze another person on the couch. Upstairs had two other bedrooms and another very tiny bathroom. One bedroom had a closet, the other did not ? it was in the hallway. The next morning we realized the vent fan in the upstairs bathroom did not work and it was beyond humid after a shower. My wife had to keep the door open since it was so bad. Even after a long day at the park, the towels were still damp. Even the next morning the towels were not 100% dry. We also found 2 remotes did not work for the TVs. In the kitchen, there were no paper towels, so that posed a challenge to clean areas up after we were done washing dishes. The floor was also very dirty around the bar stools and we found old grapes under the dishwasher and couch (after the kids found them and were playing with them). The hairdryer in the downstairs bathroom would not run and smelled like it was going to catch on fire. We also had an issue with the HVAC again when we tried to set the temperature from 73 to 72, but it would not recognize it was 72 when it was 69 in the bedrooms. I turned the system off, but took a good 5 minutes for it to actually shut down. We all agreed we would never return to this location. During check-out, one staff member did not ask how our stay was, but another did and I mentioned all of the issues. They apologized and took off our resort fee charges. I must ask again how this place has 4.5 stars on here and has an 86/100 on another travel site. They post these numbers on the wall and seem to take pride in the reviews, but it just does not add up. It definitely feels like a Best Western attempted to build a resort with even smaller bathrooms. If you can avoid this place, please do!

    « Great space »

Stayed for a week beginning of November. Check in and out was a breeze. Front desk pleasant and professional. Location was walking distance to a Target with grocery store and a Publix grocery store. Close (5 minute drive) to outlet shopping and highways to Universal (25 minutes drive) , Disney (15 minutes drive) and airport (30 minutes drive). Plenty of free parking. Free WiFi that worked great. Room: Our room was a 2 story, 2 bedroom townhouse with 2 bathrooms and sofa bed in living room. Lots of space, clean and quiet. Kitchen fully equipped. We saved a lot by cooking at home everyday and packing a lunch while at the parks. (have to leave food and drinks in the car and eat in the parking lot, which suited us just fine) Comfy bed and great linen and towels. lotions and soaps in bathroom. TV in each room. Safe in master bedroom closet. Small patio overlooking pond. We only used the pool area once, it was clean and relaxing. Overall great value for money and ability to save by not eating out at restaurants for every meal. We traveled as a couple but this hotel would suit families very well. Would stay again for sure

« Shame this was my first impression of Florida and its residents »

On first arriving I was pleased with the outside appearance of the resort. The outside spaces were well maintained. The villa itself was tired looking and in need of a good deep clean. Often we would return from a day out to find that no housekeeping had been done at all. We often had to ring for clean towels and even toilet rolls. My sister even had toenail clippings in her bathroom, left by a previous occupant, which took several calls to reception and eventually after 4 days they were removed. The housekeeping staff had vaccum cleaners but seemed rarely used. Sometimes they would clean upstairs ,but not downstairs. The final straw came when after 10 days of hit and miss housekeeping and the head of housekeeping visiting and promising it woul be cleaned and inspected personally by herself, nothing was done! When my sister went to reception to speak to the manager she was told by another person of the cleaning staff that she was lying and that she had inspected it herself! We were asked if we had taken photos! Then as this woman left she was heard,by my niece sitting in our car outside, talking to the hotel relations manager, verbally abusing my sister. The only saving grace was Sherman on reception. We were given a free breakfast on the last morning which was really poor. Avoid avoid avoid. Dirty.

    « Disgusted »

Just come back from 12 nights at this resort, the outside is beautifully kept and clean and tidy . the inside of our 3 bedroom villa was a different matter. We had serious housekeeping issues and reported them repeatedly, previous occupants toe nail clippings in bathrooms, the carpet so dirty and stained you wouldn't dare to walk on it barefoot. The room was never cleaned properly took them 4 days to remove one of the toenails the others still remained, on returning home after long days out at the theme parks the rooms were left un made no clean towels etc. in 7 days out of 12, only on the last 2 days were the rooms cleaned properly and the sheets changed once, we had really lost our tempers and complained and this was after they promised to do the room only for us to come back late at night and find it still unmade with 2 days of dirty towels on the floor etc. we were accused of being liars by one member of staff when we went to reception the following morning to find out why they hadn't done the room , she told us she had inspected it and it was fine!! then proceeded to call me vile names that I cannot put in print. Now home and just been to the doctors and they have advised that the allergy I thought my daughter had from something is in fact scabies from the dirty bed linen, Virgin Holidays have been informed and I am now awaiting the replies am disgusted. We did encounter a very nice member of staff called Sherman who did his best for us , he was an asset to the company but if I were him I would get out now and find somewhere better to work!

« Great place to stay »

Just come back from a two week stay here Had a three bedroom villa with full kitchen two bathrooms and three bedrooms Found the place to be clean well equipped and serviced almost every day with replenishment of coffee, toiletries and towels Great location only ten minutes from Disney, next door to a fab mini golf course and Target and Walmart within a short drive Had a young alligator on the outside the balcony but did not ever feel threatened Pool and hot tub area clean and well kept, did not take advantage of the bar and restaurant but I have got to say I loved the place and will definitely consider returning in the future

« Poor Stay in Orlando »

This was our second visit to this hotel having had an enjoyable stay last year. We opted for this hotel because it could offer us 3 bedrooms in the one villa and the price was $100 per night. Unfortunately we were disappointed with this stay due to a number of issues; rooms are looking tired and need freshening up, on the second day our villa was only part serviced and the door was left open all day by the housekeeping team a big security issue! as also our safe was locked from a previous guest. Complained to reception who apologised but that was it! third day villa was serviced but no replenishment of coffee or toiletries and towels. I feel they have some issues here and perhaps resting on their laurels. You need to up your game and this place will quickly slide down hill !

    « Great value »

Stayed in a unit that Had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, full kitchen,. SO much better than just a hotel room. ONLY short drive to disney. BEAUTIFUL grounds, easy to get to. VERY clean. CLOSE to restaurants and next to super target

« Great Place to Stay »

The hotel was nice! The room was more of a condo than a hotel room with a great price. We were only 8 miles away from Disney World. The pool and hot tub were great. There was fresh cookies given to my kids everyday in the lobby. The beds were comfy and the room had 2 full bathrooms. There was a bar and restaurant also. We never made it to the restaurant and the drinks in the bar were a little over priced. Other than that wonderful experience.

« Excellent value for the money »

Me and some friends stayed here for 3 nights to attend EDC Orlando. We stayed in a 3 bedroom townhouse and only paid $287 for three nights through a special online deal. The townhouse had recently been completely renovated within the last few years and overall was very nice. The beds were comfortable and the housekeeping staff kept everything very clean. Downstairs the townhouse featured a queen master suite, full size kitchen, living room, and small patio. Upstairs was another room with two full beds, a room with a king size bed, and a shared hall bathroom. My only complaint was the patio. While the townhouse had been completely renovated the patio had not. The sliding door was old and stuck making it hard to open. The railings and patio furniture showed their age. Also, being Florida these patios should be and could easily be screened in. All of the patios faced a small pond and the bugs on the patio were crazy. Overall, the stay was great and I highly recommend this hotel as it offers the best accommodations in its price range.

« Rude Staff, Bugs and lack of cleaning »

This was our 1st trip to Florida, celebrating our grandchild 5th Birthday. We travel over 936 miles to encounter bugs and rude customer service staff(GM). Book the trip through RCI (another mistake) no one wanted to take responsibility for incompetence for customer service, or lack of cleanliness on contract. We saw bugs from the first day of arrival until the day of our departure, I was frighten to move at night. In addition BWPSR wanted us to pay to receive additional wash clothes and towels while still on our visit.

    « Condo Hotel »

I like the condominium, but a hotel. You have a kitchen and 2 bedrooms, your room is cleaned every day and you're treated like a guest. The complex is older, but it is nice and clean. Most of the rooms face the lake in the middle. The hotel is off the main road, secluded from the noise of the busy road. There is security. Very nice. There is a playground and a swimming pool for the kids.

« A great villa close to Disney »

We recently stayed here on a quick weekend visit to Disney. There were 6 of us in a 3 bedroom villa. Check in and out was quick. The villas are tucked away from the main road with security at the gate. But don't let the quiet fool you these villas are within a 5 minute walk to just about anything. The grounds are well kept. There's a playground and shooting court for the kiddos. All villas include lake views and there are boardwalks over the lakes connecting villas to the main check in area and pool. The villa was nice. Kitchen was well stocked. The unit we stayed in had 1 bedroom with a full bed and bathroom downstairs, and 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom upstairs with a king bed in one and 2 full beds in the other. The unit was clean and well kept. Flat screen tvs were in every bedroom and the living room. We had a small screened in back porch and the unit was stocked with plenty of coffee and towels. And there were plenty of pillows! The room service was reasonable. We didn't use it but saw a good variety and decent prices for the selections. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the pool and the condition of our porch furniture. We went for a night swim and the Jacuzzi was closed. There was a sign up for the main pool that said it was closed too but there were people in it so we went ahead and jumped in. The water was nice and it was salt water so no chlorine... and very refreshing. But the deck was in need of repairs as some tile was coming up and could cause someone to trip. Now to be fair our stay was 1 night after hurricane Matthew came through so perhaps the heater on the Jacuzzi went out when power went out and maybe the deck got hit by some falling limbs. Our porch furniture was stained and needed repair. But other than that everything was in great shape at our stay. We vacation in Orlando a lot. I have 8 kids 3 of them are adults so we've stayed in many many places. These villas are a good value. Most Orlando villas charge a 100.00 cleaning fee to stay. So when you search for a good villa read the fine print! There were no surprise charges at Best Western Saratoga Villas. I highly recommend them as a great value for a nice convenient and quiet Orlando stay.

    « Some good R & R »

Our daughter was performing in a show near this location and we searched and searched for a place to stay nearby. This may have been the first Best Western I ever stayed. It was by chance and reviews noted. For the value, we had no complaints what so ever. We felt we had more then expected even though it was for one night. I can assure you that we will come back knowing the proximity to Disney. Every aspect of the hotel was great- particularly for our expectations from this wonderful gem. Thanks for the hospitality! Our six year old gave it a thumbs up.

    « great place to stay......perfect »

This was our 4th trip to Florida and wish we had found it sooner. Would recommend to any family looking for somewhere quiet , spacious , clean and very close to all the park's. The entrance gate to the Disney area is only about 15 min away and universal and seaworld about 25 min away by car.The staff are all very helpful and polite and housekeeping were in everyday. The kitchen was well stocked , fridge freezer , dishwasher , hob and microwave. The small lake looks amazing and also has an alligator and a turtle ( don't worry about the gator all villas have a small patio area but all fenced off from the lake ) The pool was great on those very hot days. Didn't have many large meals at the hotel restaurant but what we did have was delicious and well priced. Your also walking distance from target ( supermarket ) and denny's restaurant is next door.your also only about a 10 min drive from lake Buena vista outlets. I know some reviews on here say about the noise from the pool as long as your not right next door its nothing to worry about we stayed in villa 2843 highly recommend

    « Lovely »

Surprised to read certain reviews, this is a lovely place to stay, Villas are large & well equipped, cleaned daily and spacious. Home away from home. The bus service to Disney was very prompt & usually the same driver on most days. We found waiting for the 10:30am bus was better as the 9:30am bus was a lot busier & also busier at the other hotels & really only saved 15mins over all & the bus was a lot quieter. Met the local Alligator & Turtle which I loved, my only down side would be the bar area, hardly anybody in it & closed early would be great to have a weekly BBQ or some kind of entertainment together to bring guests closer, maybe everybody was tired from the parks ????

    « Always a great stay »

Everyone at the property is so nice and helpful. We had a few issues in the room and maintenance showed up immediately to solve the problem. The property is very close to restaurants and stores and a very short drive to the attractions.

    « Worked out perfectly! »

I booked two villas for a family trip to Disney and we loved it. Prior to the booking I called the hotel and requested that both villas were close by and to my surprise they were right next door to each other. The villas were very spacious everyone had their own bed. The villas were very clean and modern. Not too many amenities that the hotel has to offer for example the game room for the kids had about 4 maybe to play with. The gym was okay. We did not get to enjoy the pool because of the long stay at the parks. The kitchen does not have an oven so I was a little bummed about that since breakfast was always made at the villa. The staff was really nice. We did have a problem with the fact that other pet owners did not pick up after their pet and so the outside smelled horrible at all times. We did inform the office of this problem since we brought our pet and we did not want to get the blame for any of the mess. Other than that I would definitely go back. It's a good location because of the target plaza that has a Denny's and Panda Express from walking distance.

    « Great! »

Just great! It's like being at home. Comfortable for the whole family and very affordable. Will go back every time we go to Orlando. No need to do hotel searches anymore when visiting the theme parks.

« Smile and you are a winner »

I don't know if some people on this site are reviewing the same accommodation as we had a fabulous time here and everyone we met - staff and guests were very friendly. Maybe it is just the fact that we say please and thank you a lot and SMILE - I only had to go to reception a couple of times in 2 weeks and there was never a problem at all. Our 2 bedroomed house (it was bigger than some the the homes I have owned!!) was serviced every day, which as it was an apartment really rather than a hotel room I wasn't expecting. It was great to come home from a hard day at the parks to find our beds made, the dishwasher on, air-con on and the whole place tidied. Loved our balcony for a drink of wine in the evening whilst watching the fountain in the little lagoon. The pool was great and for the most part we felt like we had sole use of it - though we avoided it in evenings over the weekends as the weekenders tended to come in then. The shuttle to Epcot was on time both during the day and in the evening and we used it 4 times without a hitch - it has limited times so don't expect to go to a park in the afternoon using this free shuttle service, it's 2 in the morning and that's your lot. We were really sad to leave and would definitely stay here again if we needed this kind of accommodation again.

    « All about Service! »

Staff was not very helpful at all. Only Tammy was great. Super friendly and welcoming! Never received towels when I asked for them. Waited an hour for them to come before I had to leave the hotel again. Had no towels for me at night once I got back to the hotel. Did not grant me the courtesy of a late checkout! Hotel room smelled of cigarettes from years of smoking. Other then that, the town home was okay as far as looks and had the convenience I was looking for. But i look for proper customer service first and foremost!

« Great place to stay »

As a family we have visited Orlando many times, we normally stay in hotels but wanted something different this time. We looked at villas. However, with only 3 in our party they were to large or to expensive for what we wanted we do not need a private pool or garage. So we decided to try an apartment resort, research highlighted the Best Western Saratoga as fitting all our requirements. We were not disappointed it has been excellent, the apartment is clean and comfortable. The decorations are a bit dated but pleasant and functional, is is great to have a quiet living space to relax in after a busy day, something a hotel just never seems to provide. The apartment is clean, comfortable and the staff are very helpful and polite. The beds are very comfortable, I have had great nights sleep with no back aches or niggles that normally occurs when sleeping in a different bed. I know that if I am visiting Orlando again this will be the first place I check for accommodation.

« Rundown, Noisy, Poor customer service, »

Asked for quiet room away from noise when checking in- told no problem, placed right by swimming pool. WHAT??? How many pools are quiet, especially with kids, WOW, what a way to listen to customers. I was assured by front desk that I would not have noise issues as they have a "one noise complaint strike and your out policy" I still insisted on being moved and was told "you may have to pay more" Eventually after some discussion moved to new room and wasn't charged more. But why should I have been in the first place? I guess it is extra to expect a quiet stay!! Even though we were moved to a different bldg We experienced loud music LOUD neighbors, running up downstairs. I don't think I should have to call every time there is noise. security should be making rounds. Had they done so they could simply stand outside in the parking lot and hear the loud music and the partying going on. Cars coming in to lot at 1am with music blaring, you have to drive right by security gate and be buzzed in after validating one is a guest, obviously security didn't address even at that point. Also other neighbors were screaming at each other and I didn't want to be involved, afraid of retaliation by them due to nature and behavior of these people. I,m sure if management responds to this review it will be "did you call the front desk", Really???? The front desk assured me this would not be a problem, so why would I believe anything they say, they were less than responsive to other concerns. Dishwasher arm broke, didn't work, dishes in the dishwasher, when housekeeping came next day they ran dishwasher again even though we placed the whole dishwashing arm in the sink and advised when checked in the dishwasher was broke. I would have thought they would have noticed the arm in the sink but didn't. WOW, that is really poor cleaning. This also tells me the dishes in the cabinets were not clean to begin with. We had to hand wash all the dishes and only had one hand towel and no washcloths to do so. They should have paid us to stay here as much cleaning as we had to do upon arrival. Dirty kleenex on the stairs upon arrival. Toilet filthy and mold growing in the shower. Dead bugs in the hallway, along with dirt where one walks, so tells me not vacuumed well. The dead bugs I can understand due to pest control, but the dirt no that is not okay. Dirty around the nightstand, food wrappers found. No batteries in the TV remote. Extremely hot upstairs and freezing downstairs. Walls damaged, chipped, needs to be painted. Ice maker didn't work in the room. Front desk didn't answer phone in timely manner, rang 25 times before picked up. Called and asked to speak with manager never received a phone call back, even though promised to receive a phone call within the hour. wasn't asked "how was stay", or even really acknowledged when coming to desk. When checking in another lady that worked there asked me if I needed something I said no this person (who was on the phone) was getting me new keys, another guest came up and said "yeah you can help me" She barks "well your going to have to wait I don't have my eyeglasses" Then disappeared behind a door and gone for at least a minute or two. So why did she ask me if I needed help if she wasn't prepared to do so????? Called and told staff internet not working, said "look into it" 2 days later still no internet, had to use my own cellular phone internet to use my computer. The had to pay 12.00 for resort fees each night. REALLY???? I was charged for things I couldn't use, cleaning a room, and dealing with subpar customer service. What is sad this used to be a great place to stay and ranked very high on trip advisor. we come to Kissimmee every sept for 10-12 days. Stayed here 4 years ago, was noisy then, but nice. Have been staying at the Polynesian Isles which is amazing, thought we give this place a second chance as found great rate on the internet. Now I understand why. Front desk advised me under new management, they have a lot of work to do with customer service, cleaning and maintaining of this property. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

    « Great Disney Hotel »

Could not beat the rate I got at this hotel. $86/night with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths with the bedrooms and bath up stairs. The living room, kitchen and bathroom are down stairs. Very clean and great location for Disney World resorts and parks. Will stay again and we are Disney pass holders that go to Orlando a lot.

    « A Lucky Find »

We found this hotel at midnight, after driving away from another hotel in disgust. The front desk was courteous and efficient. We drove around to our room (the property is arranged like a condo complex), and were stunned when we walked inside. Everything was spotless and new and after our earlier experience at the other hotel, was like manna from heaven. We had a two bedroom two bath villa with a small kitchen and a nice sized living room. I would absolutely come again.

« Good for families or groups »

We chose this hotel because we were a group of friends (5) and wanted much more space than a standard hotel room, needed a kitchen and wanted to split the cost. I have stayed at other Best Westerns and been very happy. I think this villa complex used to be apartments just by the layout of the property and the layout of the villas. We got a 3 bedroom, 2 bath villa which is two stories with 2 bedrooms and a bath upstairs and the other bedroom with its own bath downstairs. These can sleep up to 8 or 10 if two are children. The kitchen was small but adequate and was stocked with dishes, glasses, some pans, utensils and a few other things. There was a coffee maker and a toaster which is great in addition to a full-sized fridge. The living room area was really small, but had 2 end tables, a queen sleeper sofa and a large chair. We had to pull in the chairs from the patio just so we could play cards. Each bedroom was large and the beds were all very comfy. Each room had a nice flatscreen TV with cable. The grounds were beautiful with ponds, lots of trees and flowers and boardwalks with benches. The pool was nice and large and there was a hot tub. There were not enough chairs and tables and you had to wait until someone left to get a spot even though there might have been about 20 people out there at most during the day. There was plenty of room for more chairs. A few were broken. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. There is an on-site restaurant and bar, but we didn't try it. There are so many other places to eat within a short distance. There were a few things that we had to request help with from the front desk. The air filter in the AC unit in our villa looked like it had not been changed in months and the pull cord on a ceiling fan in an upstairs bedroom was missing. These things were quickly fixed by a maintenance man. In the upstairs bathroom, the end panel from the side of the vanity was completely missing. Maintenance didn't know what to make of that. Oddly, there is NO AC VENT in the upstairs bathroom so it got really hot in there after a shower. The upstairs bedrooms are 8 degrees warmer than the temp you set downstairs on the AC so snag the downstairs bedroom for yourself and toss the kiddies upstairs. Overall, this property fit our needs and was conveniently located near everything. It was about $265 a night in May of 2016 which is a bit steep (to me) when I could have booked through Magical Memories and gotten a large 3-4 bedroom condo for under $180 per night, but our group organizer found this. I would recommend it for groups or families for the convenience, location near theme parks and proximity to a mini golf course (next door).

« could have been so much better »

We visited Florida as a family of 17 in August 2016. Each family had a two bedroom apartment. The apartments are very spacious definitely plenty of room and good value for money HOWEVER We had a series of issues with the Carbon Monoxide alarm going off, the maintenance guys visited 2-3 times and at the point I saw one of the maintenance guys cutting a wire I asked to be moved. Thankfully this was no problem. But that might have because I threatened legal action if we were poisoned by carbon monoxide. The cleaning was inconsistent but it became apparent that this was based on which cleaner you had. The pool has far too much chlorine in it and on returning to the UK one of the kids had impetigo...related??? who knows??? Would I recommend it...No

we were upgraded so we could be next to our 2 daughters so we had 3 villas. All the villas were clean and well equipped. The staff were helpful especially when out air conditioning broke late one night we were immediately assigned the villa next door as it could not be fixed. There are ample signs warning about the wildlife, we did see an alligator going for a stroll so they are not there just for fun, although he was reallocated quickly and not seen again. There is a shuttle service although it is very limited.

Recently stayed (9/2-9/5/16) in a three bedroom room (2977). I was able to get a great rate of $80/night. I have seen these rooms go for $200+/night. At $80 it was a great deal. The rooms were spacious, the the kitchen was nice and the A/C worked great. However, all of this negated my stay by how incredibly disgusting the carpets were. In all honesty about 80% of the carpets had some kind of stains on them. Let's just say I did not even walk around the room without wearing sandals or shoes. Management should look into replacing the carpets because cleaning them will not be sufficient. This resort would have easily received 4-5 stars if it wasn't for the gross carpets.

    « Excellent place »

Have just returned from staying here and it was absolutely brilliant. Villas were spacious and had everything we needed for our 2 week stay. Very spacious with big beds and two bathrooms. Maid service was good they came every day to make and change beds and replace towels, toiletries etc. Probably could do with having a vacuum or dustpan and brush in the villa so we could do some tidying up of the floors as maids did not really do this very often. Pool was great and reception and bar staff were very helpful and pleasant. On site laundrette too so did all of our washing before we went home which was great! Very close to Disney which is what we went for and easy accessible to universal which is still only about 20 minute drive. Excellent location close to lots of restaurants, shops and the crazy golf. Easy to find and great service at check in/out. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone. Local alligator and turtles made my little boy very happy to watch swimming around!

    « Disney Vacation »

My family recently stayed at this resort through our timeshare. The villas were spacious and very clean. The atmosphere was very peaceful and serene, although sometimes you can hear yelling and screaming from the pool area. But there are other families on vacation so that's expected. The villas we stayed in were a townhouse style 2 bedroom with a full kitchen which was plus. With going to disney and the million things to do in the Orlando area being able to come back and have a home cooked meal is a plus. The location is also perfect, there is a super target next door with a Dennys and panda express within walking diatance. Overall my family had a great stay with them and would definitely use them again. Oh and there is an alligator, snakes, and a turtle in the pond, but with good judgment you'll be fine (dont go playing near or around the water). The alligators are harmless if you're not enticing or even bothering them.

    « ORLANDO FAMILY HOLIDAY »

Great location close to many restaurants and road link. The room 2967 was a good sized 3 bedroom townhouse with all the latest house hold items. The only thing stopping the suite hotel from receiving five stars was the small items like empty bins cleaning the out of reach places like behind curtains and patio areas. Great staff from reception to pool area.

    « Dirty hotel »

You really get what you pay for. A nice place with full kitchen and 2br with reasonable price? Sounds too good to be true! We arrived with dirty flooring right when we walked in. There's no door mat so you bring everything outside to the room. Both bathrooms were not cleaned properly. I can see the toilet has a running stretch of *brown stuff* from the side to the floor. This is disgusting! The microwave in the kitchen is filled with dirty spot and the rack is covered in food stain. I would never come back here. They need to do a better job at cleaning

It was very clean. We were also close to all the attractions such as disney world, which made it very easy and fun. Also very kind staff and very helpful. I would just like them to change the mattresses in the sofa bed because they were not as nice as the beds.

Lovely property situated close to Disney. Rooms were nicely laid out. The property is very nice and walking distance to local shops. Well priced and very close to all of the attractions as this resort I would stay again.

    « WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE »

We checked into the hotel and the lady was very kind and patient. She took her time and explained where the pool, discount tickets were, and the eating area. Upon entering the villa, we were impressed. The spaciousness of the rooms, the well stocked kitchen and cleaning products. We were so happy to see the upstairs of the villa. We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa. There was a bedroom on the ground floor, with a cozy en suite. The villa was spacious and very clean, the staff was very accommodating and friendly. The price was terrific.

« Reasonable and spacious place to stay »

This was a good place to stay if you are staying off site. The rooms were a good size and with the townhome layout there is sufficient space for a family. Admittedly, we didn't spend much time in the room because we were at Universal and/or Disney but the time there was plasurable. The drive to Universal and Disney was approximately 20 minutes with traffic. The workout room had dumbbell weights, treadmill, mats, and an elliptical that were all in working condition. The pool is large and active. Cleanliness and general hospitality was 7-8 on a scale of 10. It could have been better at times but the staff responded quickly and professionally. There are stores and a miniature golf place in walking distance. Depending on which direction you are traveling from you may be required to complete a u-turn. There is also only one drive into the property that can be overlooked if you are not familiar with the area.

    « Good somewhat »

The room was immaculate, but me and my husband had to buy cleaning products. There was hair on the shower tile and the hair dryer. There was no porch light. Me and my kids was coming in late so we needed that. I called the front office starting day one no one came. Was told to call a Mrs Bryant, when I did and left a message she never returned my call. They never accommodated me and my family for these things as if they did not care. Idk if I would stay there again. I would have done whatever it took to accommodate my customers but they got my money so "who cares, I guess they feel. But the room was nice!

« Perfect vacation in Kissimmee »

we are two parents and three children and we arrived in August 2016 for 8 nights. The place is located relatively close to the parks of Universal and Disney about 15 kilometers. We ordered the large apartment with three bedrooms. Excellent place master bedroom with a king size bed very large children's room with two beds is very spacious and an extra room with a king size bed and en suite shower. I should mention that illuminates the interior attitude of the resort staff. Housekeeping every morning including washing dirty dishes in the sink Every request was responded to quickly excellent service

« Very Happy with our Stay »

We stayed in a 3 bedroom Villa from August 9-18 and had a lovely time. The main purpose of out trip was to visit the parks - Disney and Universal, this location was perfect for this - no more than 20 min and you were at your destination. The pool was perfect for unwinding after a long day at the parks and many afternoons we came back tot he villa, had dinner and headed back to the parks for more fun. When we first arrived our room was not ready - not a problem we went to the Target next door and got our grocery shopping done. I had called ahead and requested a Villa with an oven as I had read that not all Villa's had one. When we got back from shopping we were told that there were no 2 bedrooms units available with an oven so they upgraded us to a 3 bedroom unit! The unit was perfect for us. 3 rooms 2 full bathrooms and close to the pool. Everything was clean and neat upon arrival. We did not ask for housekeeping the first few days as we just tidied up after ourselves but then it got to the point where we needed fresh towels and supplies need to be refreshed - this was the only BAD part of our visit. - we had to call 3 times to get sheets changed, fresh towels and dishwasher soap replenished. It seemed like our room had been forgotten. The first few days we left the do not disturb on the door but then when we took it off we were still NOT DISTURBED! It really was the only blip in an otherwise great place to stay and I would not hesitate to stay again and recommend to others.

« Convenient location, nice apartments »

These apartments are good for a family holiday; have a kitchen and lounge area with the second bedroom having 2 double beds. Apartment was kept clean although cleaners tended to arrive at various times during each day; one day they arrived at around 6pm, not a convenient time. A smoke alarm kicked off at 4am on our second morning for no reason, however, this was sorted quickly by maintenance. The apartments are situated on the US192 which is quite a busy road, however, we were set far enough back so that it was very quiet. There was tea, coffee and water on tap in reception. Reception staff were very helpful and polite; thanks go to Dasia along with Margaret who helped me with the washing machine in the laundry room, and the lady in the ticket office (didn't get her name). Apartments are around 25-30 minutes from the main parks, off the I4, which was very easy to get to. All in all we had a pleasant stay and would recommend these apartments to others.

    « This place rocks! »

This place is amazing! They have 2 bedroom villas. We had a loft villa-which means climbing steps, but for us, no problem!(They also have 1 floor villas I believe) So spacious! We were in Building A overlooking the pool (open 7a-11p, currently). We had the windows shut (very hot outside last weekend, a/c handled just fine)and we could barely hear people at the pool which was full on Saturday and barely anyone on Sunday. 2 bathrooms-1 downstairs with standup shower and the other was a bathtub/shower upstairs). There is a dishwasher, full fridge, and stove in the kitchen. You need to bring things like paper towels, salt, pepper, etc. There is a Dollar General and Target right next door. Walmart about 1 mile away. Dennys in the front of the property. Congo River mini-golf also next door. There is a kids playground. Very clean, both inside and out! Staff very friendly! Parking almost in front of building. Felt very safe. Prices on Hotels.com were also amazing!

« Great family base for Disney »

The villas here a very spacious in a good setting with surrounding gardens and easy parking. The front desk staff were very helpful and always on hand to answer questions. There is a free shuttle service from the resort which at the time of our stay took you to Epcot and picked up on return from Magic Kingdom, but times were very limited so far better to drive yourself if you can. Overall it was a great base for our family for our stay. When we weren't busy doing the "Disney" thing, the pool, gardens and walkways provided enough entertainment for us and the kids, including some "turtle spotting". There is also a really good Target supermarket just next door, which was really handy.

« not great, there must be better places to stay »

Stayed with my family and three other family groups to enjoy the various parks in the area. An absolute positive about this place is the location, it's within an easy drive of all of the key attractions. A further positive is the size of the villa/apartment we stayed in. The three bedroom villa easily accommodated two adults and four children. This place has the opportunity to be brilliant but misses the mark on so many levels. 1. The aircon is effective but so loud it's intrusive - the unit was filthy and the vents I one of the upstairs rooms didn't work at all so one room was boiling hot. 2. The accommodation is seriously dated and very grubby 3. The standard of housekeeping was a complete joke - I complained three times in 2 days when there were no towels left and they stripped one bed and left it with no sheet! After complaining about the awful standard of housekeeping I was apparently noted as a VIP and the standard of housekeeping improved but quite why I had to be noted as a VIP is a mystery. I just wanted to have clean towels and beds made! 4. The walls in the villa are paper thin and as they are attached both sides, if you have neighbours, be prepared to hear everything! People talking at the top of their voices outside the villa past midnight was a regular occurance and there's not much you can do about it! 5. The pool is tiny and there are few loungers, the pool towels are often not available and it looks dirty 6. The restaurant was ok for breakfast but we had an evening meal there and they served frozen fish to my 5 year old, after a 55 minute wait. Of course I sent it back and they served a second meal frozen! When I complained I was apologised to and told ' yes, the chef said he thought it might be frozen!' - WHAT?! Honestly, I couldn't believe it. We got 50% off the entire bill but then charged 20% gratuity on top which I refused to pay but was told by the only staff member left that he couldn't authorise my underpayment on the gratuity?! Needless to say, I didn't pay it! One of my other family groups in another villa had to move room after their co2/Fire alarm kept going off - maintenance's solution was, after replacing batteries, to cut a wire!!!!! She has an 18 month old and a 5 year old - I question anyone's sanity cutting a wire in an alarm let alone with small children in the room, Would I return - NO Would I recommend - NO

    « Amazing holiday »

The night didn't start well, as the satnav didn't recognise the address for the resort so several hours driving around lost. But the wait was worth it! Friendly and helpful front of desk staff and much needed free coffee! The villa was spacious and clean! The kitchen lacked some cooking equipment (baking trays etc) and no kettle for a quick cupa but we just used a saucepan and there is free tea and coffee in the reception so not a big problem. Rooms were cleaned daily and coffee and dish washer cleaner replaced (they even loaded or unloaded the dish washer!). Staff always happy to help. Location worried me at first as just off a busy highway but heard no noise. Easy walking distance to supermarket and restaurants. Delighted with our stay so booking again for next year!

    « Theme park vacations »

This hotel has some opportunities. But overall I would stay here again. My concern the follow-through from the staff. To complete any issues/campaigns within a timely manner. Unfortunately had to return to the front desk several times. To get issues completed. Whether it was a room service. Answers from the general manager. And several other issues.

    2
    « Unclean »

The room was very unclean. There was an unknown substance on the walls, mascara on the towels, cockroaches in the rooms, poor air filtration covered in lint and dirt was last maintained in November 2015. The pool had a layer of film and dead skin. Was told by staff the cockroaches in the rooms were our fault by leaving the doors open to which we did not. Cracks in the baseboards and walls made the room look old and unkempt.

    « Another great trip! »

Lovely semi-detached villas in Kissimmee. Good air on- not too noisy but very effective. Lovely surroundings that are great for nature watching. Unfortunately the stray cats all seem to have disappeared- we enjoyed feeding them the last time! Handy for all the parks with a great Denny's next door.

« Pretty good all round, but with just a couple of small issues »

We stayed here in July 2016. We wanted somewhere which had 2 separate bedrooms and a kitchen so this fitted the bill. Overall it's a pretty good place. The location is good if you want to be slightly away from the noise of International Drive, but close enough to Disney and all the other stuff to be only 15 minutes in the car. The facilities are good - free tea and coffee in reception, the pool is fine (could do with a few more sunbeds as only about 6 there), we didn't use the bar or restaurant so can't comment on those. The free shuttle isn't much use as it only goes from the hotel twice in the morning to and twice at night (and I think it collects from a different park?) The apartments are clean. There are a couple of bits that could do with a lick of paint but nothing to worry about. The kitchen is good enough but you need to ask for a kettle (and you get one that boils on the hob) and also have to ask for any pots and pans as they say they keep getting stolen. To be fair, once we asked for stuff, it was there in less than 5 minutes. Our biggest gripe (and fairly minor in the whole scheme of things) was the maid service - when they changed the beds, they didn't then put a sheet on one of them under the duvet (there had been one before and also there was one on our bed) meaning the kids had to sleep under one of the thicker sheets (it was nearly 100 degrees at night!). Also, a couple of days before we left, the tea towel disappeared so we had to use a bathroom hand towel. Overall a pretty good place and decent value for money. Would recommend it.

    « Awesome Resort »

This resort exceeded my expectations. The pictures on the website doesn't compare to what you see in person. From the lobby to the room, it was breathtaking. My room was like a spa. Everything from the way the beds were situated in the rooms to the TV's on the wall. Best Western really outdid themselves with this resort. I loved it.

« Best Western Premiere Saratoga »

We have stayed at this hotel before in one of the "then" newly renovated villas and absolutely loved it then. This year I had my granddaughter with us as well, and she would ask to leave the theme parks to go back to the hotel for dinner and to swim in the pool. We are already making plans for next year!

    « Stay here!!! »

The 2 bedroom/ bathroom villa was very clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated! The guest laundry, exercise room & front desk coffee were nice amenities! The pool was large, clean and stocked with clean towels for convenience. The cleaning staff were very good, friendly and helpful! Peter S and Daisy at the front desk made check in and check out a breeze & are an asset to Best Western company. I would highly recommend everyone who will be going to the local theme parks &/or staying in the Kissimmee area to stay here at the Best Western Saratoga, because it was clean, beautiful, spacious and the best value for the dollar. We stayed 8 nights while attending Disney and if we were to come to the area again this is where we would stay, without a doubt!

« Best Western 1st time reserving this location »

My wife and I have visited and rented out condos in Kissimmee every May since 2011 with our kids. We save money staying off of Disney/Universal resorts and have all the luxuries of home. The place we usually rent from was sold out b/c July is their busiest month. We decided to give this hotel a try b/c of AAA ratings etc. We stayed 5 days in a villa, and the villa was ok but for $1,000 for (5) days it wasn't quite what we expected. For example the beds were kinda hard/stiff, people were outside talking loudly after 1:00am on several occasions, and since the villas are connected we heard pounding that woke a couple of us up a couple of days. Other than that it was clean, nice staff, good location (Walmart,Target,Denny's, etc) all very close 3-5 minutes away, and we also felt safe. My biggest issue was the loud occupants that talk all hours of night in rear of villas on patios & the banging around on one of the two sides of villa on our last 2 days. I would recommend, but hope that management would review some villa expectations with occupants that check in such as being mindful/considerate of families who may be resting. Keep loud talk on patios down after 10:00pm. We never had any loud talking after hours or banging around in our usual condo rental and our usual condo is in a gated community which is a plus, but if our other condo/s were unavailable we would probably stay again.

« Great place and convenient to everything »

We stayed in a 3 bedroom 2 bath for a week and was very impressed the rooms were nice loved having a kitchen so we didn't have to eat out all the time. We had a 2 year old and was so thankful that you had baby gates for us to block off the stairs that was an added bonus. I will highly recommend anyone going to Disney and don't want to stay at the parks to stay here it was very convenient to everything. We used the pool daily and enjoyed it. would have like to had an oven in the kitchen and the Laundry facilities needs to be bigger we were there for a week and needed to wash clothes and every time we went down it was in use so we ended up going to a nearby laundry mat....

« Family holiday First time in Florida »

Lovely place to stay for a family with two children (aged 6 and 8). The swimming pool was great, the staff was excellent. The villa offered ample of space. We stayed for 13 nights and we really enjoyed the facilities and it really felt like being at home. The gym room was also a bonus. Yes there is a small alligator on site, we called him Tony the Gator, but you just have to stay away from it and look at it from the distance. Target is just round the corner. We did most of our shopping there and cooked back at home which helped us save a lot of money compared to other Disney hotels where you must buy food onsite. We did not have any frying pan or kettle when we arrived, but the hotel staff brought them in within 10 minutes following our request. The beds were extremely confortable and the cleaner ladies were super sweet and laid all our children's teddies nicely on their beds, which they loved to see coming back after a long day out. All good quality shampoo, gel, soap etc where replenished every day for free. I would certainly recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to come back again.

« Villas on the main Bronson hyw (192) »

It was great to find Villa accomodation on the main hyw near Kissimmee we don't have a car so it was great the hotel have Disney buses but outside you can catch the Lynx bus 56 which takes you strait to Disney running every 30 mins. There is a Target supermarket within walking distance and plenty of eating places. The villas are great we had a three bedroom villa plenty of room only down side was utensils were scarce only one pot we had to request a cereal bowl there within the hour we ate out most of the time but nothing was a problem. The staff were all very helpful came up the road with shopping one night and the maintainance staff in the carts asked if I needed a lift to my villa. The pool was great it was like a nice warm bath open early morning till late we looked onto pool from our balcony (no problems)with a small river between where if your lucky you could see small crocodile and turtles (all fenced off of course) plenty of place for the kids to play there is a play park and plenty of picnic tables and chairs .would definitely stay again.

    « It's average in most ways »

The good price Location Desk staff was ok The bad Couches and chairs are uncomfortable. The layout with the smaller bed downstairs is not ideal for families. The sliding door was unlocked when we got there. Warning signs for snakes and alligators is right next to the playground...and chain link doesn't stop snakes, unless they are absolutely huge. Playground is too close to the street. It's not bad, but not great.

« Not bad for the price »

We stayed here while visiting at Disney. It's a great location for getting to and from the parks. The villas aren't quite as nice as they look on the website, it certainly needs some upgrading and maintenance but it's really not bad and they've tried hard to make it as comfortable as possible. The apartment we had was 2 bedrooms, one right at the front door and the other at the top of the stairs. We have 2 young children and struggled to figure the best place to put them to sleep (we don't want to start the habit of sleeping with mummy and daddy!). We decided on the downstairs room for them, as it seemed better than risking them falling down the stairs in the middle of the night ) no stair gate!) it's not ideal by any means and if you have young children and don't want to bed share, I'd consider a different hotel...... A little noisy at times, but I guess you expect that in hotels / apartments...... We didn't eat here, but there is room service at what seemed a reasonable price. We'd stay again but maybe when the girls are a little older!

« Ideal accommodation for a Disney holiday »

We rented a three bedroom villa for 5 people. Could have easily slept 6-8. Lovely bedrooms and bathrooms, very comfy beds. TV in every bedroom. Living space was small but clean and comfortable. Huge fridge freezer, decent oven and hobs. Kitchen was well equipped. We cooked in the villa most of the time. Air conditioning was great. Staff were very friendly. We ate breakfast and dinner a couple of times in the restaurant and the food was excellent and good value. Small swimming pool but we only went in for a couple of hours each day as we were there for the Disney parks. Good gym. 20 mins drive from Disney parks. Near to Publix and Walmart (supermarkets) and the fantastic shopping outlet Lake Buena Vista

    « Great BUT ... »

Let's start by the positive. The location is great and when you are on site, you are away from all the excitation of the parks ! We had a villa with 2 rooms (3 beds), # 2851. The villa was clean and a good space, perfect for a family. I was a bit disappointed because there was no oven in the kitchen and we stayed 8 nights... The swimming pool has a good size and is perfect for the kids. The lady at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful offering a real service which was not the case of her male counterpart (the one with the beard). I asked him once if he has a lighter in order to celebrate for my daughter's birthday with a nice cake and candles and his answer was "candle is not allowed n the villas !". No smile, no nothing ! And did not even try to convince him and I found another way. It found that completely absurd ! On the other hand during 3 nights in a row, there were a large group of people partying every night at the swimming pool until 1 or 2 am and the front desk employee has done nothing to stop that. Our villa was quiet far and still it was very loud. I cannot imagine someone with a room closer. The real down size of this hotel is the service. The house keeping did not do our villa 3 times, which is almost 50% of the time. And when they did, it was never done the same way. Sometimes they replaced the towels, sometimes not. The small mouth refreshing bottle was replaced occasionally etc. It was not really a big deal for us during the first couple of days because we had a very good price for the first week. However, the 8th night was booked after that and we paid the full price (60$ more) and at that price you expect to have a good service. The towels at the swimming pool were missing on a regular basis and I had to go and ask at the front desk twice. In resume, if you want a quiet place at a nice location, and have a comfortable villa WITHOUT service, then it is just perfect.

« Amenities needs to be upgraded »

This is not a resort. Amenities needed to be upgraded. There were no activities scheduled for kids or teens. I had to request a condo with an oven. Ice makers in fridge have been disconnected in all the units. I had to purchase ice and floor fans.

    « Not as advertised »

First, let me start with the positive. The room was clean, and if we were just there with our family, it would have been decent compared to a regular hotel room. There was free wifi, but our phones' 4G was faster. Now for the rest. I am looking at the resort's website as I write this. We went to Orlando with another family, so we were 4 adults and 4 kids, which is why we wanted a 3 bedroom. According to the website ?One King bedroom, One Queen bedroom and One Queen double bedroom are well- furnished and enhanced by the Pillowtop and Heavenly bedding package.? There was a King bed in one bedroom, although not the bedroom with a bathroom inside it, like we expected. There was a second bedroom downstairs with a bathroom inside, which we will call the master, but we are pretty sure the one bed in there was a full, not a queen. The third ?bedroom? also had one full (or ?Queen?) bed. So the first thing we noticed upon entering the room was that we were missing a bed. We had actually called 2 hours before we checked in to make sure we would have 4 beds, and they said yes, but when we got there, they had given all of the rooms with 4 beds away. So our two boys had to sleep on the floor, even though we were 8 people in a room for 8. It should also be noted that the bedroom that was not the master and did not have a king in it had an open window looking onto the downstairs, so the adults could not have a conversation in the living room while the kids were going to sleep. (The shape of the ceiling funneled the sound right into the room.) And we have serious trouble believing those beds were pillowtops. The ad also states that the ?villa is equipped with a full kitchen, bar and living area.? I will admit that we only assumed this included a table and chairs at which to eat, rather than 3 bar stools at the counter for the 6-8 people that are supposed to fit in the room. (By the way, the ?bar? was the kitchen counter.) However, I have never heard of a ?full kitchen? without an oven. There was a stove, but no oven. There was not even a toaster. We bought food before arriving, and had to bring much of it back to the store, because we could not cook it. So much for getting a suite with a kitchen to save money at restaurants. I should also point out that, while the room was clean in general, our towels were not changed during our stay. There was a sign that said we should put it on the door if we did not want our towels changed. We did not put it on the door. In fact, many of our towels were on the floor of the shower (which was about the size of a shower in a small cruise cabin). When the room was cleaned, the towels were left on the floor of the shower, rather than being changed. Full disclosure, they did offer to ?try? to find us a room with 4 beds for the second and third night if we packed up all our stuff, including groceries, then brought them all to the front desk for the day while we went to theme parks, and when we got back we would find out if our new room had 3 or 4 beds. We declined to gamble. After telling us 2 hours before we checked in that we would have 4 beds, we did not consider this to be a sufficient solution to our problem that should never have happened.

« Would not go again! »

This is by far the worst Best Western experience I have ever had, and I have stayed in quite a few of them across the world. I stayed 6 nights in July with my family of wife and 3 kids. On arrival we were told that despite having booked back in October, they hadn't prepared the extra bed because "the apartments are for 4 people" - though advertised as housing 4-6 people. The wifi in room did not connect either and when confronting front desk manager, he stated that "it is working fine" - and still I could only connect in the lobby. As we are 5, we were also a chair, towels and bed linen short, which we were initially told the service staff would bring to us, but when asking again as it didn't show up, the front desk manager told we couldn't get, though asking for it multiple times. And yes, I did say please! And finally, after 3 days of not refilling, I had to go and ask for more toilet paper - apparently 5 people need more than 3 rolls... So my conclusion is that next time I find an equally "cheap" hotel, where service is included. Can't recommend this to anyone!!!

« Item stolen during visit! »

The villa is nice, but had a bad experience with item being taken from the room by housekeeping. My daughter's wallet was stolen out of the room while my family and I were visiting a theme park. Front desk manager did not seem concerned. He promised to call housekeeping up so I could speak with them, but did not. Only asked me to write a statement. I had to ask him to call the authorities to file a report. Lack of concern and compassion for what happened.

Horrible gross rooms, rude threatening staff, NEVER coming back. Cut my foot on broken glass outside our room door and they blamed me for the glass. I couldn't believe it, worst hotel stay I've ever had

Overall the hotel is very nice it looks like the pictures. Nice front desk staff. Fitness center was awesome. Very close to Disney if you want to go there. The only issue was that housekeeping did not come to our room.

    « Nice place »

My family stayed 7/2 overnight in 3 bedroom. It was nice and roomy. The living room was kinda small in comparison to rest of space. There was 2 bedrooms upstairs and the master is downstairs. We ordered from the hotel restaurant, it too was ok and reasonably priced.

« Great stay visiting Universal »

Spent a 4 day weekend at this resort with my college-age daughter, and loved our stay. We got a great deal through Travelzoo that included free breakfast which started our daily park treks off right. The two level suite gave us each plenty of privacy and I loved having a kitchen since going out for EVERY meal can get pricey, not to mention I have food sensitivities so I prefer cooking my own meals. Would stay again!

« Best Western Permier Saratoga Resort Villa »

Overall we had an excellent experience staying at this property. The condo was roomy, clean and well equipped. We had a problem with the downstairs shower not draining and also one of the upstairs bathroom sinks not draining. They dispatched a repairman as soon as we reported it and it was fixed to our satisfaction. The pool was great! The location was perfect, close to the attractions and shopping. We ordered pizza from the restaurant, but was not able to eat it. It looked as though it was cooked in the microwave, and was not tasty at all. But this was the only complaint we had.

    « DISNEY 2016 »

three bedroom Villa really close to Disney. clean, clean pool and can fit a family comfortably. The beds were very comfortable and well warranted after being in the parks all day. The staff were all pleasant and would go out of their way to please. Very Satisfied and would go back to visit again next time in that area.

« I wish I would have went somewhere else... »

Our reservations were for 7 nights at this resort. We cancelled our original reservations with another resort not to far away because this one was a little cheaper. I wish I would not have gone cheaper... Mind you all of these issue were told to the general manager so there are aware, but not helpful. The customer service was rude. We called several times to check one different things and not one front counter customer service employee was happy to take our call. You could here the consistent "sighs" in the background at our small questions and we only had about 3 questions. After one of our call to simply ask what time the pool was open till they hung up on us after telling the time! How hard is it to simply say "Goodbye"? The phones in our room did not, work by the way, so we had to call using our cellphones. We didn't bother calling them to fix the issue after how rude they were in the first place. Upon checking in all looked well until we REALLY started looking at things. Granted we stayed for a week and were gone a majority of it, but its not hard to clean properly. The bottom floor was hard tile. It was nice and kept cool, but very dirty upon arrival. Throughout the week we let it get cleaned numerous times and they never cleaned the bottom floor's floor and never cleaned the bathrooms. There was a lot of dust build-up in the corners and along the base boards (top and bottom) of every room. We the maids came in and cleaned they locked the deadbolt to get in and out instead of using their master key. This poses a huge security risk with me. Even after I asked the maid prior to departure of the room for the day if she had a master key to use to get in instead of using the deadbolt she said "Yes, no worries". So after we left I unlocked the deadbolt and closed the door. Before leaving the parking space I watched her put the deadbolt back on and leave the door unsecured to clean - unacceptable. A few more things I will just list: -HBO channels kept going in and out (just the HBO channels) -The outdoor pool was small. The kiddie pool and whirlpool were even smaller. -All of the beds were hard, but the master bedroom bed was hard as a rock. I eventually slept on the coach it was so bad. -There was only 3 dishes to use in the whole villa if you wanted to cook something and they were old/abused. -The view from the patio was of trees... You could barely see the pond with the water fountain and deck. It was simply to hot and humid to was to the deck to see it. -The ice maker machine on the outside of the building was broken the entire week. -The water in the villa had the common "Florida rotten egg smell" from the taps. Again, the "general manager" was informed of all of these issues upon check out, but she was not very helpful. There was a lot of "Yeah I'm sorry, but theres nothing we can do about that" answers to my question. She also would not provide me a receipt for the stay since it was booked on a third party site and a discounted rate. This is very usual and a policy Best Western needs to change (if its actually a policy). Either way there are a ton a things that need to get changed at this resort before I would ever let my family stay here again.

    « check the beds »

All of the rooms were very clean and nice except for the king-size bedroom which had a dirty and pee-stained bed pad.( I checked the beds for bedbugs before retiring for the evening late at night when I found the dirty bed pad.) I shared a bed with my daughter since we were staying only one night and I wanted to conserve the number of linens to be washed after our stay.

I've stayed here several times and always enjoy it. The spacious layouts, amenities and friendly staff make it one of my top picks. This resort is perfect for families and those in town for business. The location is excellent and the full villa makes it versatile for having meals in house instead of out all the time. There is a nice gym, laundry, pool and arcade also for a variety of needs.

« Fine alternative to visit the parks. »

My son and I needed a place to stay to visit the parks. A house was too big, a hotel room for a week, not so convenient, as my son prefers his own room. So we had a common living room with view on the lake. internet was very fast (although 2 times it broke down for a short period) so we were able to see the European Championship matches. Very good and big quality flatscreen tv. As we have not the same taste as the restaurants served in the area, everything was there to cook. Coffee pads were also delivered every day, and room cleaned.. In general more then satisfying, but we saw it also depended who was in charge. Although the place was perfect, the living room was a bit on the dark side, so we had to put the lights on, more then we cared for. About people reporting theft. There several shifts and many different people working as every person is assigned a nr of villas. I legt my tablet a few times, small money, and some other stuff, but did leave my computer and money INSIDE the safe, where it should be any time you travel. There were more villas then I thought, looking at the brochure, not an issue, but it also explains why some found location better then others. And as I cannot complain about the state of my villa, it is of course possible that some houses had less respectful customers, and that they worn down faster.

    « Great family accommodations »

The staff was helpful and the rates were fantastic. Everyone was friendly... in fact, I walked over to the ice machine and saw that it was down. As I turned to walk away, as member of the maintenance staff happened to be going past in a golf cart and saw my failed attempt to get ice. Workout hesitation, he gave me a ride to and back from the next closest ice machine. The rooms were clean and the two bedroom unit was perfect for our family of 5. The pool was clean and the area was beautiful. They also have a nice playground for small children and a little basketball court. The fitness center is small but efficient. Also, we were basically next door to a Target but we couldn't hear the traffic. They did a great job with the landscaping to reduce noise. Our kids enjoyed the living room off of the kitchen. We had a great time and grew closer as a family all while a 15 minute drive from either magic kingdom or sea world. Thanks for a great stay.

« Very Nice for the price »

6 of us stayed in a 3 bedroom and had plenty of room. we even had 5 family members come over and visit for a few hours. it was tight but doable. Our issues were no Hairdryer, clogged toilet and a back door to the patio that would not open. Also no book in the room about things to do in the area. One call to the front desk quickly took care of maintence issues. A new lock for the back door, snaked toilet by an engineer and a binder book with attractions and restaurants in the area was delivered. A short 5 minute walk to Target and $12 took care of the hairdryer issue. The grounds are very nice, the pool area and pool was clean. They do have a concierge service that sells tickets to local attractions and offers a shuttle to Epcot and Magic Kingdom. We will definitely stay at this location on our next visit.

« Not the best room for person with Special needs. No place to store clothes! »

Not sure all the townhouses are the same but my 2 story "Handicap accessible" townhouse had a bedroom with a bathroom for handicap downstairs and 2 other bedrooms upstairs. It seemed ot me the handicap accessibility was an afterthought since there was a permanently locked door to the outside going into this bedroom and the Main entrance was right out side the bedroom...bizarre....One MAJOR problem. The bedroom had no closet or even a rod to hang clothes or a dresser. No drawer, nothing in the whole first floor!!! Seems to me they got rid of all storage area to expand the bathroom to make it handicap accessible....Not even a folding table to place a suitcase, NOTHING! How is anyone supposed to spend any length of time in a room like this? Obviously cannot store the clothes and suitcase UPSTAIRS! We only spent a night, thank God! The pool and whirlpool however had lifts for the Handicap. That was nice. Only one small place to eat inside.

    « Good on a budget »

We enjoyed our stay at this Best Western. The villas were bright and clean, the grounds were nice, the beds were comfortable, and the bedrooms were spacious. The kitchen was small but adequate. There was only one pan and one small pot for cooking. The WIFI signal was great throughout our space. Housekeeping was inconsistent-- not always replenishing empty supplies, leaving a clogged toilet-- and maintenance visited multiple times as well (broken hair dryer, dead batteries in smoke alarms). We always received quick service when calling the front desk, which we greatly appreciated, though we would have preferred not having to call in the first place for things that should have been part of routine maintenance or housekeeping.

    « Fantastic Stay! »

We had a large family vacation planned (6 kids and 2 girlfriends of our oldest sons) and looked at other options, but chose the Villa's to give us room to "spread out". This was an awesome place to stay: large villas, kitchen, laundry services, pool, etc - everything our family needed while vacationing at Disney World. I would definitely recommend the Saratoga Resort Villas - we will be returning!!

« Great Vacation Get-Away, Close To Everything! »

My family of five stayed here for one week in May/June of 2016, and had an absolute blast! When we arrived, the things that stood out the most to us included the well-manicured landscaping, clean rooms, nice staff, beautiful pool, nice bridges/walkways over the pond, playground, and more! Unfortunately, there was some sort of mix-up when we arrived. We were given our room key, and when walking to our condo, other guests were walking out of that same room, heading to the swimming pool. We went back to the office and they corrected this mistake, giving us another 2-bedroom/ 2-bathroom condo, however, this one had a smoke detector that kept beeping. The staff was quick to replace it. leaving us to enjoy the rest of our week! This arrival experience is what is preventing the 5-star rating, otherwise, it would have been 5-stars all the way! About the condo... I'm not sure if all of the condos are alike or not, but I'll describe ours. When walking into our condo, we were greeted by stairs on the left leading up to two bedrooms divided by a large bathroom with two sinks and a separated toilet and bathtub/shower. One bedroom had a king-size bed, the other had a queen. Both bedrooms had a closet with plenty of storage space and wall mounted flat-screen televisions. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were clean, with no evidence of insects or rodents. On the first floor, to the right of the stairs, was a 3/4 bath with a shower. Just past that was a fully furnished kitchen, followed by an open living area with a dining room, pullout sofa, chair, a couple end tables, and a wall mounted flat-screen television. On the far end of the living area was a sliding glass door leading out to a small, covered patio with a small table and two chairs. Our room had a view of the beautiful resort-style swimming pool and two hot-tubs. In front of our condo was a small parking lot, just past the yard, but close enough to the door to not be exhausted from carrying luggage. The resort was in a good location, close to a ton of restaurants and shopping and within 20 minutes drive to all of the parks! Unfortunately, it's quite a walk to some of the closest attractions and shopping, except for a mini-golf course which sits in front of the resort. We've stayed at several properties in this area, and wouldn't mind staying here again! We were impressed!

« decent but wont stay again »

This place wasn't all that bad if you didn't have high expectations but I have to just say I left a very nice hotel, so this was a sure downgrade. For one it is very small. A bedroom right when you come in and a very small bathroom in it. Upstairs were two more bedrooms which were a nice size and a nice size bathroom to share. The living area and kitchen were combined so you pretty much had to sit on the couch and eat. The kitchen had one pan and one pot. They did bring us one more but it was smaller than the original pot. The living room couch just didn't look clean to me so we were definitely not sleeping on it. We actually got upgraded to a three bedroom which was very nice of them because my kids were not sleeping on that couch. It just didn't look clean to me. The entire room just didn't have that clean feel to it. They surely need to update the rooms. We saw an alligator the night before the poor kid was snatched by and alligator so after that I think they need more shielding from the ponds and the room. An alligator could easily get under that rail on the patio. Anyways we just didn't go out there. The grounds were neat I guess but it wasn't all that great. I thought this was more of a resort type room but it seems more like a two story motel. We had a dead roach but I wasn't moving rooms for one roach. We didn't see any more bugs so we were fine. The dishwasher was a joke and I wouldn't eat anything out of it. The laundry room was a joke as well and it cost $2 to wash and $2 to dry. I was so upset I left the previous room for this hotel because it wasn't worth the reason I switched. Check in was quick but the guy, although nice to me, was not so nice to another lady standing there. He must be the only worker because I swear every time I called them, he answered, even weeks ago. They were really quick at bringing what you ask for expect they didn't have enough face towels for six people. How do you bring 4 face cloths for a three-bedroom suite? None of the maintenance folks speaks English but that did stop them from being really nice. There was no dish towel, just a sponge so it was hard to wash dishes. We never used the pool, didn't need another disappointment. WIFI was a joke, don't even waste your time. I didn't like I couldn't hear my kids upstairs because the air conditioner was so loud so I slept on pins and needles. Again this may be because I left such a beautiful resort but I can say I will never stay at this hotel again and unfortunately I don't recommend it.

« Perfect Room for our Needs, but Poor Experience »

We were very excited to stay at this property while bringing our children and extended family to the area to enjoy the attractions. We were very pleased with the set up of our 3 bedroom villa. It fit our needs perfectly. Things were going extraordinarily well, and we were willing to deal with some of the under staffing issues that we saw in the restaurant and front desk at times (1 person working dinner, bar, and room service. 1 person working busy check out times Saturday morning with a line to check out that almost made us late for our flight). That was until we discovered that we had a $200 pair of sunglasses stolen from one of our rooms. The glasses were first reported stolen to a housekeeping supervisor of some sort, who asked permission to go in the room and look for the glasses, but then reported the incident to no one. We again reported the glasses stolen to the front desk, and waited, and waited and waited with no contact returned. After the 4th or 5th time in checking on the status of the glasses we were told that we could accept a complimentary night (with our discount was about 1/2 the value of the glasses) or we would have to file a police report and the resort would submit the report to their insurance company. So ultimately, our options were to sacrifice our time on our final day of vacation to file a police report, or to accept half the value of the glasses. If that wasn't enough, as my sister conveyed the police report to a manager at the property, he was less than understanding of the situation. My sister went as far as to say it seemed as though we were inconveniencing him by passing on the information. Needless to say, we had a very disappointing end to what was a promising vacation. We had read reports on Trip Advisor that there were issues with theft on the property. Because of that we had avoided taking housekeeping service for the majority of our stay. When we did allow housekeeping in our room to replace towels and coffee/shampo, we ended up with an expensive item missing, zero compassion from the staff, and now we are almost a week since the item was reported missing and have not heard anything from the property. Our next step will be to follow up through Best Western.

    « Convenient, Spacious, Clean »

We got a great price on a 3 bedroom 2 bath condo for our family of 4 (2 teens,) and we loved having plenty of space. The rooms were clean, and housekeeping did a great job in a timely manner every day. The location was very convenient for going to Disney World, and having the Super Target and restaurants nearby was also appreciated. The street the hotel is on was even a straight shot to Melbourne beach about 90 minutes away. We had a little trouble finding the entrance in the dark, but it was not a big deal. I also thought there could have been a kitchen table or at least more bar stools (only 2,) but it was not a great inconvenience. We would stay again if we are ever in the Orlando area again.

Met friends there for a golf weekend. 4 of us in a 3 BR villa and it was awesome!!! Great rooms, bathrooms, and they were super responsive when we called about a smoke detector battery chirp in the empty villa next door. « Great base for exploring. »

Stayed for 12 nights. Very clean with friendly staff. This is self catering in villas sleeping up to 8. We were a party of 7 (2 young children) and found the villa adequate for our needs. Air conditioned, a Fridge freezer, dishwasher, hob and microwave but no oven/grill. Odd numbers of plates and crockery and not 8 of each, but we managed ok. Well tended grounds with resident alligator (don't let young kids roam on their own!!!). Pool is adequate and clean with towels provided for sun beds. Small fitness suite (just in case you don't get enough activity at the theme parks!!). Plenty of parking and good links to theme parks. There is a bar and restaurant on site but many places to eat on your door step plus supermarket (Target) just next door.

    « Restful Vacation »

Stayed here for 5 nights. Just wanted a quiet and restful vacation and had one. We were fortunate to stay from Tuesday to Sunday so had a number of quiet days. Families started arriving on Saturday so it was not quite as quiet and I imagine during the season if you are close to the pool it could get rather loud. We had a 3 bedroom villa. One bedroom downstairs and two up. Technically this villa would sleep six, maybe 8 if it's a sleeper sofa in the living room (didn't check). We were only two, one of us upstairs and one down and it was perfect space wise. It would be uncomfotably crowded for six as the living and kitchen area was very small. We were In the E section and had a nice view of the pond area and regular sightings of the local alligator and ducks. Only room for two to sit out on the porch. We had a full kitchen with an oven. Half have an oven so if you want one you need to ask. The oven only had one rack, which was fine, but is also in need of a good cleaning. Very smoky. The kitchen was not very well stocked. The basic dishes and glasses were there (no wine glasses) and three place settings of silverware, one frying pan but no pots. There was one spatula and two large spoons and a can opener (no cork screw). Having read reviews before leaving we planned our meals and brought cooking pans we needed. There was a 4 cup coffee pot with the pods of coffee but I brought my own coffee and filters. The location is good to be able to access the sights and restaurants if eating out. We only ate out for lunch and one of those times was at the resort. The food and service was good. It is also very close to a Target that has a huge grocery section and also a Publix grocery. We went to the Congo putt putt golf that is right outside the resort and it was fun. Can also feed baby alligators there. The villa was fairly clean but not super clean. A floor vent upstairs was very nasty and the tile floors downstairs could really use a mop. Also half a large bottle of coke in the fridge so obviously they don't check it. They seem to keep up the outside grounds more than the inside as one day there was a worker cleaning the covers on all the porch lights. The staff was very nice but not always responsive. I called to the desk one night asking to borrow a pair of pliers (long story) and was told she'd check with maintenance and call me back and she never did. Called another time to find out where to take garbage and get more bags and was told someone would come pick it up and bring new bags. 1-1/2 hours later they had not showed. Found a worker outside and he was surprised no one had been by yet and took care of it. And as I said it was not busy at all. The negatives won't keep me from going back there but they do keep me from giving them a five star rating. Also, from this villa wifi will not connect and it is not that far from the lobby. We were able to connect the first day for about five minutes and then never again. Asked about it the second day and was told yes there's a problem and they are working on it. I'm wondering if that's a standard response as I read about wifi issues in other reviews. Don't count on having wifi if that is important to you. Overall it was a very nice stay. I just see a lot of potential for improvement.

« A Great Hotel Close to Disney »

My husband, two kids, and I stayed at the Saratoga Villas in April 2016 in a 2 bedroom/2 bath villa. We were very pleased with the appearance of the resort, inside and outside. Our villa had a small kitchen and dining area, living room, a full bath downstairs, two bedrooms (king in one bedroom and 2 double beds in the other) and a full bath upstairs. Our room rate also included free breakfast each morning of our stay. I would recommend getting the breakfast option if the price difference is negligible (it was in our case). The breakfast is a la carte at the hotel's bar and grill (not a buffet) and it was very good. The pool area is very nice and well maintained. There are several ponds around the resort, so look out for gators. There is also a small playground and a basketball court. We were very pleased with the property for the price that we paid. The resort is only 15 minutes from Disney and very conveniently located close to many dining options and there is also a Target right next door. We would definitely stay here again on future trips to Orlando.

« Good base but watch your belongings »

Because I'm a reasonable guy I'll start with the positives, read on for the significant negatives though... The interior of the two story villa we got in block A was excellent and typically American in that it was very well appointed, comfortable, clean and flash looking. To be honest I was amazed at how nice it all looked, certainly on par with the best we have stayed at. Great soft furnishings and as good a kitchen as we have at home. The two bedrooms were fabulous with big comfy beds, lamps all over the place and each room had a large flat screen tv - very good. The only niggle was that we had no view, car park at front looking onto a shopping mall and at the rear where we had lovely patio doors we were slap bang into the back of a maintenance block so not very inspiring - didn't really matter but I had hoped that we'd have a view of the splendid gardens and pond. On the plus side being so close to the reception we did have excellent Wi-Fi and this came in handy when all TV was lost due to a problem with the cable company. There is a good sized pool and Jacuzzi, although the latter was out of action for the last few days of our stay. No biggie but a shame all the same. The real fly in the ointment was that during our stay we lost a large sum of money from our room. I'd been sorting the day's cash out and accidentally left a purse on the bed. First time in 30 years of travel and the last. Needless to say it vanished. Being a typical Englishman my first reaction was to take complete responsibility, I'd been an idiot to have left several hundred dollars lying around and I even found myself apologising to the reception team for causing a problem. What a prat. Later in the day of course I realised that although I'd been careless that should not have meant that anyone else had the right to take our property, and although it was not in our portable safe neither were our clothes, mobiles and tablet - together worth much more than we had lost. Got me thinking that surely we have a right to feel that our property should be safe when the front door is locked. The staff said that our money had probably been bundled up n the laundry as the sheets had been changed that day (they hadn't) and they checked that the door had not been opened by anyone other than our room attendant. I asked for some measure of compensation - room credit for food etc and the director of housekeeping assured me that they would certainly be able to sort something out for us. They strung us along for three days like this until finally the General manager (Tammy) sent me an email to say that as we had not used their room safe we wouldn't be getting any sort of compensation but they would be delighted to call the police in if we would cancel our park plans and stay home till they arrived (or words to that effect). Knowing that there was no way we would ever see the money again and being reluctant to waste yet another day I told them not to bother. The moral of our story? Don't stay here unless you are prepared to lose anything you can't fit into the safe. Either they employ thieves or people who are very efficient at making valuables disappear - makes no difference which but I know what my money is on, quite literally. Have a nice day!

I had a problem with the room, which they did sort out. The villas where ok, a little out dated. The swimming pool area is small so never got the chance to use it. Set in a good area felt safe the hotel did have a good security, but they did not have safe in the room.

« Quiet, clean and close to Disney »

We checked in last Sunday (5/15/16) and stayed through Friday. We had rented the space for a week, but our schedule did not permit staying the entire time. We have been staying in time shares for approximately 5 years when we travel and this was one of the best experiences that we have had. If you have traveled to Orlando/Kissimmee very much at all, you are aware that MANY of the lodging locations are well worn and in need of repair/updating. I always try to gather as much information from other reviewers before I book a place. I found the reviews for this location to be "all over the grid" but do to time restraints and need, I booked anyway. I am very glad I took a chance. We found the grounds to be well kept, clean and maintained properly. The unit was updated and also very clean upon check in. We experienced no issues with our unit, water temperature was acceptable, the kitchen appliances worked fine and the a/c was fully functional. So to sum up our stay- Things that surprised me in a negative way- -The front gate was not operational nor was there an attendant at any time during our stay. (Basically, the gate was just left open) -really this is not negative... just weird... There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms in the unit we stayed in. The bedrooms are both upstairs, one bath is up stairs and one is downstairs. We are accustomed to the "master bedroom" having its own private bathroom. You can assign bathrooms with your party but it just doesn't make sense to send someone downstairs to the bathroom when there is one adjacent to their bedroom. Things that surprised me in a positive way- -The maid service came and cleaned our room mid way through our stay. We have never experienced that at a time share before. -SuperTarget, Denny's and Panda Express are walking distance to the resort- very convenient! -The place was very nice, quiet and well maintained. (This shouldn't be a surprise as this is what I look for in a condo- but the reviews on here had me wondering what I would experience.

    « Very good weekend stay ! »

We went to this hotel for the first time and I was glad everything went well. We stayed at a two bedroom villa. The hotel is located behind a plaza where there is a super Target and there is a Dennys right at the entrance of the hotel both are at a walking distance. The place was clean, my cousin had dinner at their restaurant and she was happy with the service and food, so we went for breakfast next morning. Everyone was very nice and friendly. When we go back to Orlando we are planning on booking the same hotel.

    « Pleasant Surprise! »

Really a very nice stay at this Best Western. Updated nicely with spacious rooms. Very nice surroundings for singles couples or families. Super pool. The only surprise was an extra 12$ resort fee. We really didn't have time to use the amenities it required to pay daily anyway. Other than this fee I would recommend.

This place surpassed our expectations.Never would've thought from the pix it was that nice. Was able to cook and had all essentials needed.Rooms were very big as there were 4 adults and a small child.Having two full baths was awesome.Close to all restaurants and activities was nice.Security wasn't an issue,Grounds were maintained. Next time we go to Disney, this is where we are staying.

« OUR SECOND HOME in ORLANDO »

It has been a while since my first visit in Orlando and I was looking forward to staying at the same resort that I had the privilege of staying in the very first time I ever visited but the larger rooms were all booked and there was no way that two families would be able to fit in one of the smaller rooms that were available without someone using a blow up mattress. This particular trip was really special because both my sister and I and our families decided to take our kids to Walt Disney World together and even though I am a Florida native this would be my first time EVER visiting the ?Happiest Place on Earth.? My sister and I searched online for weeks before our trip because we needed somewhere close to Walt Disney and wherever we stayed we had to have a kitchen because we could hardly agree on where to eat that would be able to satisfy all of our special food requests for a decent price. As the weeks dwindled to days my sister and I were thinking about changing our plans and visiting Walt Disney another time if we were unable to find a place to stay by February 11, 2016 and right before our deadline we discovered Best Western Premier Saratoga Resort. Our families were blessed to book a three bedroom villa with a kitchen in an area that was no more than 15 minutes or less away from Walt Disney World. There are plenty of places to shop and when we arrived Mr. Dee quickly welcomed us and signed us in and gave us the keys to our room. The outside area of the Resort in my opinion was very nice and even though we were too late to order from the Resort's restaurant on the very first night we checked in whatever they were cooking smelled really great. As we entered the room there was a bedroom with a flat screen TV on the wall, bathroom with a shower and it was fully stocked with towels and a very comfortable bed, closet space and a safe and the other two rooms were upstairs and had to share a bathroom which was fine with our families and the only problem my sister had with the upstairs bathroom was the dryer was loose and too close to the tub so she just removed it from the stand it was attached to completely whenever one of us used the bathroom other than that it too was fully stocked and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals. EVERYTHING was very clean and bug free and if we needed anything there was room service up until a certain time of the day. The Person who took care of cleaning our room while we were out did a fantastic job and even though we cleaned up after ourselves we still hope that we did not leave too big of a mess for her when we left because we were trying to leave before it was time to officially check out. Even though I did not have the pleasure of meeting everyone I talked to over the phone before I arrived I just wanted to say that the entire Best Western Premier Saratoga Resort Staff were AWESOME and I look forward to visiting again soon. God Bless.

    « An excellent stay »

Spent two week at the resort it was clean and tidy and in good condition.it far exceeded our expectations as to the quality of the place. The reception staff were pleasant and catered for our needs. The area is quiet considering its just off the main road. there are plenty of other amenities around for grocery and clothes shopping. It is a short drive from the Disney Parks. As for cost you get what you pay for ad its worth it

« Badly Let Down by Housekeeping »

We stayed here for two weeks over April and May, 2016. Our initial impressions and experience of the place were very good but over time this started to be negatively affected by the very poor standard of housekeeping. I'll talk about the positives first and then explain what let it down - people can make their own minds up. The check in experience was very good. The front desk staff were great the whole time we were there, friendly and professional. When we first got into our villa we noted that there was no safe in it. This was an issue for us as we wanted the peace of mind of knowing that we could securely leave valuables and travel documents in the villa while we were out during the day. I reported this to the front desk and a safe was delivered to the villa within 24 hours, which we were very happy with. I had arranged with the car hire company to have a car delivered to the resort the day after we arrived and the front desk staff were very helpful in making sure I was connected with the car delivery guys as soon as they arrived. The resort itself is well situated with a Super Target right next door which was great as we could walk there to stock up on essentials before the car arrived. There were a number of restaurants within easy walking distance including Dennys, Panda Express, Applebees and a Waffle House. The theme parks and major malls are all within a 15-25 minute drive of the location which was ideal for our requirements. The resort grounds were nice, with a decent selection of visiting wildlife (including red headed cranes, a small bird of prey and one small alligator in the water feature within the resort). The pool was ideal for cooling off in and we made use of the laundry facilities - along with many other guests. So the downside, we had two specific complaints with housekeeping. The first was that it became clear to us over the course of the two week (14 night) stay that the towels and bedding in the villa were not being changed. Even though we left towels in the bath (usually a good indicator that a guest wants them changed), when we returned in the evening we found them loosely folded and placed back on the shelf in the bathroom. The beds were usually remade but we don't believe that the bedding itself was replaced at any time over the course of the two weeks. We would have complained about this, but realised after the next issue (see below) that complaints would have no effect. The second, more serious, issue was that we returned to the villa after a day out to find that the room to the villa was open. Not just unlocked, but actually wedged open. We reported this to the front desk who advised that they would speak to management about it the following morning. When we confirmed to them that nothing was missing, they made the assumption that there had been a "misunderstanding" (their words) by housekeeping. I'm the first to accept that accidents can happen, but this was still a serious breach of security. There was no follow up on this by management - no contact from them, no confirmation that they had investigated the issue and no apology. I raised the issue again on check out and queried why there had been no follow up and why the towels and bedding hadn't been changed. I was told that there was "new staff" in housekeeping who were "still being trained". Really not a good enough explanation. Overall this has the potential to be a really good resort. Until the problems with housekeeping arose I was planning on giving them a 5/5 review but they have badly let themselves down. Management need to respond to these issues when they are raised by guests, they shouldn't be hiding behind excuses about poorly trained staff. One final point - if despite this review you still decide to stay there, please note that the kitchen facilities in the villa aren't complete. The kitchens don't have an oven or a grill (broiler) so if you're planning on feeding yourselves or your family by cooking anything that needs those cooking methods you'll need to re plan.

« Small, not that comfortable »

I had booked this resort based on the majority of positive reviews; to be honest, I was disappointed overall. I stayed in a two-bedroom, two bathroom condo and was shocked at how tiny it really was! The living area was very narrow (one couch and one chair available), the kitchen was very sparse. Very little provided with regards to actually cooking in the kitchen (no cooking utensils to speak of, not even a spatula!). The loft bedroom area was spacious enough, but the bathroom was very small (especially the sink area). The downstairs bedroom (queen sized bed) had a bathroom in-suite that was the size of a small closet. I will say that the place was VERY clean and you do pay for daily housekeeping; which was nice. However, I was bummed that the condo did not have laundry facilities within the unit. Traveling with multiple people, that's a deal breaker for me in future bookings. The staff was super friendly and very helpful during our stay and the location is right next door to a Super Target; convenient. It is a bit further from the parks than other resorts I've stayed at - that can be considered either a pro or a con depending on the person. Overall, if you are doing a short stay, this could fit your needs. I don't think it would be a good fit for a stay lasting a week....

What a great stay , this hotel was ideal . Only 15 mins for Disney by car and a Target right outside which is great for getting those supplies . Panda Express (Chinese) and a Denny's also on the doorstep . Pool area was always clean and complimentary towels placed on all the sun loungers . There is an onsite Gym also . Rooms were very clean and serviced regularly . We had a 2 bedroom villa which had a kingsize bed upstairs and and a queen downstairs , 2 full sized bathrooms and kitchen with full size oven and fridge freezer . Also was a microwave , toaster and coffee machine ( takes sachet coffee which was replenished everyday) staff were always very friendly and accommodating . We will be booking again for next year . Brilliant resort . Highly recommend

    « Smell »

I'm overall very upset about this stay. We've stayed here 4 other times and haven't had any issues like this. We stayed here for 4 days 3 nights. We checked in and it smelled a bit odd but the smell was ignored. After the first night, the first floor smelled disgusting every time you entered the room. There was a box of baking soda in the first floor bathroom (which is an obvious sign the smell was an ongoing problem). After the second night, it got worse. We asked housekeeping about it and they mentioned mold, which was very clear considering how awful the smell was. I called someone at the front desk and I told them to please put a notation about it in our folio so I could talk to whoever I was checking out with the next day. When we checked out, we spoke to Tammy, who didn't even offer any sort of apology or concern. They didn't say anything about what they could have done to help. I myself work at a best western and don't understand how you wouldn't even acknowledge someone's issue (like the terrible smell of mold). They atleast should not rent that room out to anyone until the smell is gone. It's an ongoing problem (hence the housekeeping knowing about it, the rings of whatever it was on the rood and the box of baking soda) and it's sad that they didn't even acknowledge (to us) that there was a problem. I don't know if I'll be back. If it wasn't for the way that they handled the situation, I would've rated higher because i've never had issues with this hotel before until this stay.

Looking for a good deal in the off season in Orlando, I found this place. 2 bedrooms, spacious living quarters and decent size kitchen. Didn't check out amenities outside of the room but the grounds seemed nice and location safe and convenient to parks!

Loved the location and room had plenty of space. I would stay again. The only complaint I have is housekeeping is lacking. They didn't replace empty toilet paper or change sheets in the 10 nights we stayed.

    « Amazing view »

Honestly for the price this villa is amazing. Amazing view, baby crocs, ducks, squirrels outside your porch, fountain, walking paths, fitness room, game room, pool, kids pool, hot tub. Room for everyone to spread out. Only issue for us was key card didn't work 4 out of 9 nights was fixed 3rd time had someone change battery in lock but then card expired. Honestly even with little hiccups would stay here in a heart beat if not for the small little inconvenience would be a 5 star currently is 4.5 star in my book. Waitstaff and desk staff became like family after 9days/8 nights.

« Great stay for a great price!! »

I booked this hotel through Expedia, since I had booked my flight through them it was offered at a significant discount. I was a little nervous because I wasn't sure where it was located, but we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. We went to the parks that day so we didn't arrive to the hotel until after 10 pm, the front desk clerk was very friendly and told me he was waiting on me! We were given a room with no problems and we loved it. It was a three bedroom, two bath. They advertise that it sleeps eight I think, but I wouldn't put eight adults in there at most six, but with kids it would be fine. One bedroom has a King, one downstairs has a queen and another has two full size beds. Everything was clean, there were TV's in every room and we had no issues the entire stay. They have house keeping everyday, the pool area was very nice, there is a small playground and basketball court and the lawns were very well maintained and the parking lot was well lit at night. We returned late each day and always found parking near our villa. I have already told my extended family that when we go back we will rent a few of these instead of a full house, that way everyone has their own space, you still have a kitchen and you get housekeeping every day. I would definitely recommend these to anyone! I was very pleased!

Overall a nice place to stay if you have a group. The bathrooms could use some updating. The bedrooms are spacious and we had enough room to spread out. the kitchen/LR area is small with no real dining space except the counter but we never cooked any meals. Having a full kitchen is a great benefit though. Located close to everything, with a Target superstore and places to eat within walking distance.

    « Disney get away »

If you are going to Disney parks I recommend a rental car. The shuttle bus runs twice in the morning and twice at night. Which also picks up 4 other hotels. So you are not going to be at the parks before they open. Also they need to do something different with the restaurant onsite. We never ate at the restaurant and someone charged a meal or drinks to are room. So keep an eye on when you check out and have extra stuff added to your bill.

« Fab for the money »

4th time in Florida as a family and we have always stayed in private villas but as my son was at uni we thought we would stay somewhere smaller. The place was only 6 minutes form the Disney gates and next door to Congo river golf ( family fave) and Denny's and Panda Express, we tried all 3 which were great! Just down the road is a Nike store and converse which we enjoyed looking round plus it's next door to target. So there is definitely a lot around. Unfortunately we didn't have chance to try the pool but it looked nice. The ice cold lemon water was a nice extra too. We used the bus to Epcot which was great as it was free and quiet but as the Best Western was the first hotel it stopped at it took a very long time so we got a taxi back which was only $22. The actual accommodation were quite small living room and not the comfiest sofas but the beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms upstairs spacious. The kitchen could have a few more utensils in but a full oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer were supplied. The villa complex felt very safe and clean. We also used the laundry place which was vey easy and useful! Overall 5/5 and would definitely stay again!!

« It was very clean when I stayed last year but, something happened within the 11 months »

I recommended this resort hotel for the last family outing we had because it was so clean when I stayed here in May of 2015 but, something happened in the 11 months, the first room had an issue so the front desk moved us to another room the second room appeared to be clean but, no it was not. I did not ask front desk to move us again because I didn't want to seem picky. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but, we could only handle 1 no good sleep night. Beds were horrible!

« Good place to Stay »

Stayed here for 1 night after a flight from England, before setting off to Key West. The facilities were good, the only thing missing was a kettle to boil water in for Tea. We asked at the front desk and a saucepan was provided. Easy to find with places to eat and a supermarket all close by. Would have been ideal for a few nights if we had be staying in the area.

    « Xmas Disney vacation »

Nice location close to Disney and quiet on an evening, the villas are very nice although the living area and kitchen is very small but the bedrooms are ample and beds clean and comfy! The only thing I can moan about is the lack of a vacuum cleaner and having to walk to the laundry on site as the villas don't have washing machines etc! Other than that it's nice the staff from management to cleaners are very polite and helpful, there is a target within 5 minutes walk and a Denny's which had lovely staff! Well kept grounds around the complex and all in all good value for money!

« Great Place to Stay »

We have stayed in this wonderful resort before and we're excited to stay here again. The check-in process was smooth and quick. We did the express check-out which was convenient. Our three bedroom villa was very comfortable and had everything you could possibly need for either a short or extended stay. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, but the carpet upstairs was dirty and had a musty smell. Our family enjoyed the lovely views from the balcony in the room, and the walks on the boardwalk to the pool. The pool area is nothing special, but it's nice to relax and have fun with the family. The restaurant is also ok, very limited and takes forever to complete an order. Would definitely recommend for travelers who want a good rate with MORE space to relax and sleep. Can't wait to stay again!

« Sunny Vacation in Kissimmee »

Chose this place as we needed space as my son was flying out from the UK to stay with us for a week. We Drove from Fort Lauderdale and arrived at this hotel at 2.30pm to check in, told sorry can't check in until 4pm. Ok no big deal. we had a car and went for a drive. Came back at 4.15pm and guess what there was a queue of about 8 people, and the reason there was a queue, because there was only one person on front desk for check in!!. The person on the desk was called Mr Dee, he did an outstanding job, trying to check two lots in at a time. If you have a check in time and your not flexible, please put more staff on front desk??. The first property they gave us, we took one look inside and you could tell this property had not been cleaned recently and had a musty smell. We went back to the front desk and said we want a different property, again Mr Dee rose to the challenge and found us a nice clean property, after making some re-arrangements on the computer system. We stayed at this location for 11 nights. The housekeeping staff, need either more training or the hotel needs to get more house keeping staff. On the fourth day we noticed the bedding had not been changed, I went to the front desk and asked what the arrangement was for changing the bedding. I was told it should be done every 3 days. At the end of the fourth day, when we got bat to our villa the sheets had been changed but not the sheet covering the mattress. I went to front desk to point this out, and the next day, all the sheets got changed. The day we checked out we found out, housekeeping should have been vacuuming the carpets and mopping the tiled floors everyday, but they didn't, This seemed to be the theme throughout the stay. If you mention it at front desk it then gets done, but your on vacation and you are supposed to be relaxing. We went to the bar and ordered to Pino colada's, sorry we don't have any coconut mix, ok we will have a couple of banana and strawberry cocktails, sorry we don't have any banana. Ok we will just have strawberry!! My daughter ordered a cheese and tomato pizza with some mushrooms on top, sorry we don't have any mushrooms, ok we will just have cheese and tomato!!. As I've said before in reviews for different hotels, they are all good at doing the big stuff. keeping the pool nice and clean and the landscaping looking fantastic, but it's the little stuff that makes the difference on whether you would return, unfortunately this place lets itself down. it could be so much better. All the staff are super friendly and helpful, but there was just to many small things that would make me look for a different place to stay.

    « uncomfortable bed »

I've stayed at this hotel several times and never had a problem, but this time we stayed in unit 3005 and the bed in the downstairs bedroom was hard as a rock also our sleep was interrupted at about 6:00am as the fire alarms went off in all the bedrooms (only our unit had the issue). The staff was prompt in fixing the fire alarm. They tried to make the bed comfortable by putting on extra padding (it really did not help). Yes I would recommend this place as long as they upgrade the bed for better comfort.

« Spring break get away »

This is our second stay here. We stayed the week in Orlando to go to Disney and drive to nearby Clearwater for the day. This place is so convenient to Disney, lots of restaurants, the main highways and Target is right next door. Laundry facility so we could do laundry mid week. We stayed in the 2 bedroom unit. Very clean, comfortable and love that the kids can have their own bedroom right next to ours. Nice to have a kitchen to keep snacks, drinks and breakfast food before heading out to the parks for the day. Also pet friendly is a big perk for us so we don't have to leave our dog behind.

    « Excellent location »

Stayed at this for 17 days. Superb location for Walt Disney World. Only 10-15 mins away from these parks and close to I4 for Universal Park and Seaworld attractions. Room cleanliness was good with housekeeping everyday. Room layout was good however more comfortable sofas needed as it was like sitting on a rock! Whilst we didn't go there to sit on the sofa all day it would have been nice after a long day in the parks to come back to a comfy sofa to relax on. Also, the walls of the villas are paper thin and you can practically hear everything from the villas next door even at a normal noise level. The kitchen was well equipt except for a kettle. When I requested a kettle I was told "we have no call for them so we don't have any"!!!! The complimentary wifi was also an issue. On days that it worked you had to keep logging into it every few minutes sometimes it would even drop out as soon as we had logged in. The best thing about this resort has to be the location. It's on highway 192 which has plenty of restaurants and shops and access to all the major attractions.

    « Dissapointing »

My wife and I booked this hotel from the positive reviews and details about the property on a Virgin package holiday. We arrived late at night and went to allocated apartment, tired and only wanted to get some sleep. On morning when now revitalised looked out of lounge window to see solid brick wall some 5 metre away, not a good sight, OK we are in Disney area will not be in that much, however on returning from the park late at night pulled up outside apartment door to see all curtains open, lights on and the door open, natural reaction, what's going on. checked, found nothing missing, complained to manager who did offer us another apartment but who wants to pack up and change apartment's at 23.00.after a long day at the Disney park. After that just went downhill, something was obviously said and staff started getting their own back, small items went missing, like the adapter UK/USA sockets so unable to charge tablet and phones, had to replace, small bottle travel perfume and so on, Sometimes room serviced, sometimes not, or would just do half of it. The king size b ed was past its use by date and had ridges, poor quality linen for a 4 start hotel. Complained further on leaving and was given the impression that this sort of service was normal, Very disappointed, would I go there again, not a hope in h--l chance

« very nice accommodation, shame about the rest. »

Just stayed for 12 nights with my wife and daughter whilst visiting Disney. The plus points are the accommodations. For the money the size and layout is excellent. We had a 2 bed house and it was a bargain compared to the high price Disney hotels. It was great having enough space to relax and not feel like we were in each others pockets. The property was clean (not perfect but good) and well kitted out. We did have a couple of problems with the safe and back doors which I reported a couple of times but no one came to sort out. The big disappointment was the bar and restaurant. This was more like Faulty Towers. It could be a real gold mine but more often than not was mostly empty. Evertime we went near it, it was very disorganised and there was always a steady stream of complaints from people waiting for food. However the biggest issue was the scam the bar staff have with tipping. I sat at the bar to have a drink on a few occasions and watched the bar staff add 18% to every drink order then NOT present the receipt or inform the customers service was already added so people were leaving additional cash tips assuming service had not been added. This meant on 95% of all drink orders people wew paying up to 30 to 40% service without realising it. I feel the bar staff are relying on people being in holiday mode and not really questioning the cost of things and handing over cash in good faith. The bar and restaurant really let this place down. Would we stay again.....probably because the rooms and pool area was good but we would stay away from the on site bar and restaurant and suggest others do as well unless the management team do something about it. Go to Dennys or Panda Express instead!

Amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel. We went to Disney world but spent some time hanging at hotel too. Only 15 minutes to Disney world! Also only an hour from the beach. Right next to putt putt. Spacious rooms. Great for a bigger family of 6. Nice pool. Would come back!

    « Great hotel! »

This hotel is beautiful, clean and really roomy for my family of 5. The kids really enjoyed the pool and hot tub and all the lights at night! The only downfall is how far of a drive it was to go to Universal Studios. With traffic it took us 35 minutes.

« Awesome stay at the busiest time of year! »

I booked this hotel for a spring break Disney trip last year. As I got closer, I got nervous after reading some of the recent negative reviews- but we couldn't have been happier with our choice! Pros: less than 15 minute drive to Disney Magic Kingdom Plenty of room for our two small children and my husband and I the pool was a cute little walk away- some complained that it is too small, but at a very busy time of year, we always found chairs and the kids loved it! There were always warm, clean towels provided- and when they were out they quickly got on refilling the shelf. Very friendly and quick at the front desk! We asked for a playpen for our smallest and it was delivered to our door within 15 minutes The room had most of what we needed to spend a week! Right next door to a Super Target- stock up on your groceries and even alcohol for the week!! The cleaning service came every single day! I was surprised after reading from others that they only come once, but they made the beds and stocked up on towels daily. They even took care of the dishes I left in the sink one day!! I don't have any cons- but I will just say what others have warned about: The rooms are not meticulous- but they are clean. The walls and floors have some scuffs- but still clean. We didn't use the playpen because it had too much wear for me to feel comfortable about putting my son in it. The walls are thin- this wasn't ever a problem because I knew we were in a hotel and we would occasionally hear other people who were staying there. All in all, we would absolutely recommend this place and we are sure to visit again!

« Great stay for Families!! »

Stayed here to be close to Disney and SeaWorld... Place was great for our Family.. My daughter and Son-in-law stayed upstairs with the grand kids. and we were in our room on the mail floor. Perfect!! Kitchen was well equipped, there could have been a little more seating in the living area, but we all managed.

« Good location and great value »

We have been there with two kids visiting theme parks. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Staff was really helpful. We will be back for sure. Location is great, just took 192 to Disney World parks. It was about 10-15 minutes drive.

    « Spring Break Vacation »

Loved the Resort. Great location, beautiful grounds, clean rooms but house keeping needs improvement. We had wash cloths two days out of the five we were there.By the time they got to our room in the afternoon late we were told they had none.We then called house keeping and requested bath cloths but never received any.My tip is hide your bath cloths on day one so they want be taken or bring your own.If the Resort does not have enough they need to invest in buying more.We would definitely stay here again. The price was also great.Couldn't be beat.

« Best place I've stayed in a long time. »

Very clean and quite. Had a 2 bedroom suite and loved it. The person behind the desk was very slow but still got the job done. I will definitely stay here again. Could use a few more chairs in the pool area but the pool area was very nice.

« Our Spring Break 2016 at Best Western Saratoga Resort »

The Rooms are clean, but outdated. All Tile floors in kitchen, dining and front room. Ok, except when it rains. Floors get dirty quick. The Pool area is very small and good luck getting a lounge chair. Not many. I would not recommend going into the hot tub. Not sure what is floating in there but it definitely doesn't look healthy. The Internet is a disaster. For the whole week and while I was writing the review it continuously drops out and you have to log in just about every 2-3 minutes. However, the staff are friendly, and they work hard to keep the grounds and room cleans. (Except for the pool area). Try to find the nearest beach if you are looking to swim or layout. This resort is located in a less busy area not too far from the Disney properties so the traffic is manageable and there are stores and restaurants in the area to meet most of your needs. I need to be truthful. We probably would not come back to this resort again unless you are looking to sight see everyday.

« All good things must come to an end!!!! »

In my last review of this hotel it was an excellent and comfortable place to stay at, however we were here this time for six nights and it was not so pleasant. Numerous phone calls to the front desk throughout the morning noon and night, apparently our next door neighbors thought that this was an amusement park with all of their children, from six am till two am noise, thumping, screaming, slamming doors, and their was even a whistle, after all of my complaints not once did a manager call me or apologize, they never even helped the situation. They're stingy with the toilet paper twice I had to call the front desk for toilet paper, sure room service had no problem collecting our five and eight dollar tips that we left every day. Now the fun part was that no one told us that you would not be able to sleep at night after a heavy rain because of the frogs and insect noise which was LOUD! Never lakeside!!!!!!They even charged me a security deposit of ten dollars a night, which was never done before. FOUR TIMES I HAVE STAYED WITH BEST WESTERN!!!! ......And by the way they got cheap on their beds, hard as a rock, last time they were pillow top and plush to sleep on. Very disappointing for the 1500 dollars I spent, but like I said all good things must come to an end. No internet reception, they lied!!!!!!!

    « Enjoyable, no-issues stay. »

Cutting to the chase, I would rate this resort as "good" to "good-+". (It is silly to have a rating system that jumps from average to "Very Good". There is nothing wrong with "Good". We made a 4-day visit to Kissimmee in mid-March to see our son play several spring-break tennis matches with his college team (staying near by). I booked 2 nights at the BW villas several months in advance for the location, price, and availability, not so much for the amenities as we spent most of our time elsewhere. However, the small bar and restaurant were pleasant and had decent, reasonably priced food, and all the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The 2-story villas (2 & 3 bdr) are townhome-style, semi detached buildings. The rooms and resort are really geared for family/friends groups of 4-6, not couples. It is not fancy, but in good clean condition - on par with the better BW properties we've experienced, which have been quite good. Still, it was nice having a spacious place with separate sitting area and kitchen for a few days. Elderly guests may not be so keen on constantly going up and down the stairs to the bedrooms, however. A few dings and scuffs here and there, but otherwise everything was in fairly nice condition. Beds were very good, which was appreciated. Another plus is that it is very close to a supermarket, and several good restaurants. Our door had no weather stripping - about a 1/4" open gap all around the door, and we did get a few mosquitos in the room the first day (luckily this was still mid-March). There is not daily room service here (which their paperwork states), but is a little hard to understand the actual service - we received one cleaning in a 3-night Th-Sat stay. Basically, it seems to be limited to 1 cleaning/week or stay, which may pose an inconvienience for a family or group. A couple of less-than-stellar observations: 1) There was never more than 1 front desk clerk available, even at some times when people were waiting for service, and there was clearly another clerk or employee back in the office behind the desk. Each of the several times I went to the desk, the clerk had to take 1-2 phone calls while trying to assist me, which was a bit of a strain. Bad job, BW management! Put a 2nd desk clerk on duty, and everyone wins. 2) I prepaid 3 nights at ~$100/night through Trip Advisor - so a really good deal. But there was/is a huge price discrepancy between the hotel's nightly rate, and the prepaid advance rate I paid. We wished to book an extra, 4th night on Sunday, but both online and at the hotel we were quoted ~$250 for the same room. We all know that there isn't a BW room on the planet worth $250. However, it was the first night of major spring break and they were sold out except at that price. 3) At check-in I was hit up for an additional $12/night "resort fee", which I questioned, and was not finally charged. Listen, prepaid is prepaid. The clerk was clearly embarrassed about it and apologized for the policy. Overall, this worked out just fine for us - more room than we needed and comfortable. I would have enjoyed hanging out and relaxing more, though our schedule kept us elsewhere. I would say this would be a fun and economical place for a family of 4 who wants a roomy, adequate-but-not-cushy vacation space, quieter and without the non-stop canned music and activity of a Star Island (which I detest). It hinges on whether you can book a time period, or well in advance, and receive the nice nightly rate..

« Okay if you need a cheap place to stay »

Started off loving this hotel. It was really cheap compared to many hotels in this area and had plenty of room and appeared to be clean. When we first arrived, our 2 bedroom villa was not ready so they upgraded us to the 3 bedroom, which was nice. We got the breakfast included in our nightly rate. First morning the food was awesome, every morning after that they screwed up or order AND there was over an hour wait for food. One morning they brought us half of our order and we never even got the other half (and the first half was incorrect). Also, after the first day, we noticed mold on the ceiling in the upstairs bathroom. The internet also comes in and out, you have to sign in repeatedly because it kicks you out at random times. Staff was nice enough. Pool crowd was rowdy.

« Good place to stay for families when visiting Orlando - as long as you don't need wifi »

Stayed here during a Universal Studios trip 3/20/16-3/23/16 in building O (toward the back of property)Our villa was a two-floor villa: first floor: full bathroom, kitchenette, living room with a fold out couch/bed. The second floor is two bedrooms and a full bath. The property was well kept, quiet and had a nice layout. It was set back pretty far off the main road, which gave it the feeling of being in a more remote area, but it was near everything you could need - grocery stores, restaurants, etc. And, the front desk staff were very nice. Only issues we ran into was that the wifi was not working, called 3 separate times about it and they said that they were working on it and ordering parts. Hopefully they can figure out the problem because spending 4 days on vacation using up all the data on your cell phone plan is no fun. Also, whoever cleaned the Villa must have left the door open the whole time because there were a lot of mosquitoes we had to kill the first night of our stay - no fun especially when you are in the shower or trying to sleep.

« Only thing very nice was the staff »

Cleaning staff not good, did not clean our room two days although we were gone all day. Had to call for two days to get extra towels, commotion two nights in a row in another villa and had to call the police. One person workingbreakfast was a sweetheart, but poor thing was always getting slammed. There is no sign by buildings J and across the pond saying that it is against The law to feed gators and people were out there 4 mornings with their little kids feeding the gators. Accommodations are ok, but will never stay here again. My husband kids and I live in Florida and decided to extend our three day weekend and stay here. I think it is great for three days especially coming in for softball and volleyball tournaments but would not of otherwise picked this place, unless I was on a budget traveling to Disney.

    « NICE*** »

I loved how every room was like a town-house and the staff was very nice. A nice place to take family and relax or enjoy things around the town, and close to Disney! Very nice place to stay and would stay again!

« Very nice GM- Staff needs lessons from her »

Great looking property. Excellent GM. Needs work with staff. When presented with a maintenance problem it was never addressed. Front desk clerks seemed overwhelmed. The rooms look good and we slept good until another guest thought they should rev up their motor at 7 in the morning. Seemed like the walls were shaking until they left. Nice pool area, a little small for such a large property but nice.

    « Great visit »

I stayed here last week for three nights with my wife and four children, ages 15 to 4. The accommodations were very clean. The bed linens were clean and the beds were quite comfortable. The TVs were all HD and there was one in each of the three bedrooms and living room. The AC was as cold as we wanted it to be. This was a perfect place to stay for a large family. Great to have the fridge, microwave and stove. We went to Disney one day, all came back for a rest and dinner and then went back out at night. It is not the newest place, but it was well-maintained and our villa was perfect for us considering the price that we paid for the three days.

    « Great place »

Stayed here for our disney vacation. We had a 2 bedroom villa. It was wonderful for the kids to have a separate room. The room was clean and it was very convenient to have 2 bathrooms. I was worried from a few other reviews that said they had problems with bugs or fleas. We had no problems at all. The kitchen was stocked with some dishes. We loved the fact that we could have breakfast in our room each morning. Target is next door if you need groceries to stock the full size fridge. Disney parks are only 15 minutes away. The pool is heated and nice.

    « PLEASANTLY SUPRISED »

I want to thank orlandovactions.com for this booking the price was wonderful and the accommodations great. Let me just say this is not inside the disney walls so you do see local people -- The location was close to everywhere you want to go in disney. The pictures you see are what you get. Clean -friendly staff yummy breakfast.

« Wonderful place to stay! »

We were celebrating a birthday at Medieval Times in Kissimmee so wanted a place in close proximity. The Best Western Premier Saratoga Resort Villas was perfect! Everything was very clean and spacious. The beds were big and comfy-black out curtains for sleeping in. There were 3 females and 2 children so the two full very clean bathrooms were ideal! The view outside our sliding glass doors was pretty of the pond and fountain. The pool was wonderful and few steps from our villa. The lobby and restaurant were right there and breakfast delicious! Great place to stay for few days with the full kitchen and lots of things to do in Kissimmee. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay there again!

    « Very Nice »

We stayed here for 7 nights for our Disney Vacation. The hotel is nice, the grounds are pretty. The rooms are a little dated and the beds were not the best. We did have a couple of issues with housekeeping, but not anything to ruin our vacation. This is a Disney Good Neighbor hotel, which is one of the main reasons why we stayed here, only thing is it's not convenient at all. Animal Kingdom closes at 5:30, but they won't pick you up til 8pm? The other parks sometimes close after 10, but the last pick up from the hotel is at 8? I think they should take the parks closing hours into consideration. We ended up driving ourselves to all the parks, which was no biggie, but one of the main reasons we stayed there was because we did not want to drive and pay $20 a day for parking at Disney. Don't get me wrong, we did enjoy our stay here, we loved the bar area , the front desk were always very friendly and the hotel grounds are nice. we loved that this hotel is conveniently located close to many stores and restaurants and all the main roads to all the major theme parks. We will be definitely staying here again, especially since it is a pet friendly hotel, and will be bringing a few more family members next time. Thank you Best Western for your hospitality and look forward to staying with you again in the future!

    « saratoga resort villas »

we enjoyed our stay here but must admit we were a bit disappointed, after reading all the reviews i expected it to be better, the neighbouring property was really noisy and sounded as if a herd of elephants were running up and down the stairs, the resort only has one pool which was really not big enough for the resort, also not much to walk to at night time, but saying this the staff were all really lovely, but dont think i would stay again.

« As good as any we have stayed at »

Pleasantly surprised, all these type places are the same to me, overall condition of the accommodation was pretty good. Pool area was nice, never crowded, helpful staff, no complaints and would use again. We particularly enjoyed seeing the alligator in the lake right outside our room not what you expect but quite exciting. The only thing I would say about the general Kissimmee area is that this is our 6th visit and it appears to be getting rougher every time we visit. Over the years we have seen more and more shops and Motels closing down and getting boarded up which is quite disappointing. We stopped wandering around at night because we started to feel unsafe. We have enjoyed Kissimmee over the years but now feel that it has had its day and won't be returning to the area.

« Great Hideaway for a Disney Trip! »

We found this property after lots of searching online, and we loved it! We will definitely return, and next time bring family with us! The price for our villa was fantastic, compared to what we're used to in the Disney area. We had a 2 bedroom loft villa that our kids just loved! There were 4 huge tvs, so everyone was able to enjoy their own alone time, two complete bedrooms (one on each floor) with it's own bathroom. We had a stove, fridge microwave and dishwasher. This room had everything we needed, we were able to go to the Super Target (right next door) to get groceries for the week and save on food. The resort itself had some small amenities to kill time, but that wasn't a big concern for us. The internet worked great, and allowed us to stream Netflix when we couldn't find anything on tv. They did add a resort fee, which added a bit to our cost, but it wasn't terrible. I wouldn't say there was a ton of value in that fee, but the internet did help. The housekeeping was very nice and helpful, as was the front desk staff. It was a quick drive to Disney, but had lots to do right around the hotel as well!

    « Fantastic stay! »

We booked for the weekend here with a group of 5 adults and two children. We were very pleasantly surprised at all of the accommodations. Everyone had more than enough room and privacy to make the stay comfortable for everyone. My only complaints are that there was no toilet paper in either bathroom when we arrived (not that big of a deal- the office sent some right over), and our neighbors were very noisy. I assume this is a popular spot for guests visiting the local parks (Disney, Universal, etc.), but we were all here for a competition and had an early start to our first day. Our neighbors running the halls and slamming the doors until 1:00AM was a little rude. I get it- your kids are excited. I would be too. For the courtesy of other guests, maybe you could wrap up the loud festivities by 11:00PM. We would all appreciate it. We got to check out the pool on our last day there. Clean and beautiful. We would definitely stay here again. Worth every penny!

« Quiet an Pet Friendly »

Very nice facility and pet friendly. The villa we had slept 6. There were only the 2 of us and our 2 dogs but a friend dropped by and there was no add'l charge for her to stay a couple nights. The villa had a full kitchen. Make sure to bring a frying pan and a saucepan to use if you want to cook. The kitchen has the basics supplied for you ie: silverware, plates, glasses. There is a Super Target right next door making it easy to grab a few groceries or anything you may have forgotten. Close to Universal and Disney! Love this place, we will be back.

« Good Location, Bad Communication »

Good central location and a nice resort, attractive, well maintained etc. But just thoughtlessly designed. It was a 2 bedroom villa. 2 bathrooms but neither one was en suite. One downstairs, the other upstairs between the 2 bedrooms. Smaller bedroom had a large dresser with plenty of drawer space. Larger bedroom did not, even though there was space. So they had put a tall, narrow chest of drawers (like a plastic filing cabinet) right in the middle of the very small closet, thereby taking up most of the hanging space. So a suggestion to the management. Turn it sideways and push it up against the side wall, so the drawers pull out towards the other side wall. This will free up a lot of hanging space and also space on the floor for shoes etc. An even better suggestion, get rid of it altogether and replace it with a proper dresser like the other bedroom has. There's space on the wall near the window, if you get rid of the ridiculous easy chair. I guarantee nobody sits in that chair (for what?!?) when there's a living room downstairs. Another thoughtless design - the only a/c control is downstairs. So if you're in bed and want to adjust the temperature, you have to go downstairs. Although the kitchen had cooker and large fridge/freezer, there was very little in terms of utensils, plates, cookware. So not sure how you're supposed to cook or eat without the tools to do so. Also there was no coffee maker. And the WiFi signal was really weak upstairs. As for communication ..., it seems to be non existent. Due to flight delays, I didn't arrive until the early hours of the morning. When the delays were announced, I called the resort to explain and confirmed that I would definitely be checking in, but it would be very late. Whoever answered the phone said they would pass this information along to the night auditor. While driving from the airport, I called the Resort to ask for a landmark to look for. Although their website says their phone number is 24/7, it just rang and rang and rang. In the end I hung up. Upon checking out, I noticed that my statement said "no show", so apparently my phone call regarding late arrival had been pointless. Also pointless was my request for a wake up call, as that never came. I'm glad I wasn't depending on it or I would have missed my business meeting that morning. On a positive note, my villa was clean and the bed/pillows were very comfy. But the service was lacking. I would not stay there again.

    « Clean Comfort »

Great stay for the second time now. Big, fresh townhome unit was great for family of four. They were nice to give us a king with two doubles room at check in upon request, so each of the kids had their own bed. Clean, quiet, and nice pool. Comfy beds and tv's in every room can't be beat.

    « Lovely and convenient »

We made reservations for a six night stay for a 2-BR suite, without any difficulty. This hotel is well located, near lots of dining and activities, close to the parks (4 miles from WDW) and has an attached restaurant and bar. We arrived early, went for a cocktail in the bar, where we chatted with the very friendly and fun staff. When ready to check in, we were upgraded to a 3 BR suite. Our suite was located in the back, overlooking a wetlands area in the back, and the pond in the front, but it was very quiet. The kitchen is full, but there were few cooking utensils I noted (not that I planned to cook). LR area was adequate with a TV, and one BR and bath was downstairs. Upstairs were 2 BR and another bath, all nice with closets and TVs. Off the LR was a slider with a small balcony. We watched otters and ducks. The grounds are clean. There is a laundry room and a gym. Since these are suites, there is no free breakfast like most Best Westerns, but the restaurant serves meals all day long. A pool is off the hotel's lobby. Overall, a very nice place. Two annoyances... in the lobby is a counter where people try to convince you to buy discounted park and event tickets. They were different people each day, so even if you told them you weren't interested, when you showed up in the morning for coffee...they tagged you again. The other issue was that the in-room coffeemaker sucked. So we got coffee in the hotel lobby. Minor. This is not the best area of Kissimmee, but the hotel is set back and we felt very safe. Denny's next door and a Publix make this convenient. Lots of mini golf and some flea markets. We would stay here again.

« Great place for the money for a family to stay »

This resort was incredible! Even for a Best Western! The rooms are like townhouses, and very spacious on the inside. Very clean! The bedrooms were very nice and relaxing with the beds being extremely comfortable and could fall asleep in a matter of minutes! The yard out front was very well kept and trimmed. I can't say enough good things about the staff as they were very prompt and helpful in assisting me with my needs. The restaurant has some very top quality food, from breakfast to dinner. The location is excellent and you're a matter of minutes away from almost everything, from Disney to Universal, or for shopping and dining. Plenty of restaurants to choose from, some within walking distance. If you're looking for a true gem of a hotel/resort and wanna save some money, this is truly the place to go and stay. I will come back to this resort again in my future trips to Orlando/Kissimmee area! I definitely recommend this place for anyone that is on a family vacation!

« Just what we were looking for! »

This resort was perfect for our 3 day trip to the Orlando/Kissimmee area. Loved the condo feel but at a hotel price!!! It is not as "fancy" as some other resorts, but it is perfect for your average family who wants to have a nice vacation. The location is great if you have a vehicle- Disney and Universal are only 10-15min away and a lot of shopping right next door! Had a great stay and will return again!

« If you are a clean person this is not the place for you. »

I traveled to Disney with my husband and daughter, we stayed at Saratoga Villas for eight nights. Upon check-in, the person at the front desk, Mr. Dee, asked for my credit card and didn't say why. I gave it to him and asked exactly what was being charged to the card, he said, "gimme a minute", like I was annoying. He did not make eye contact with me once during the entire check-in process. We stayed in room 2997. When entering the room, I noticed right away it smelled musty. I noticed the carpet was worn and dirty. The kitchen was very clean and everything seemed fine, so we unpacked. My daughter went to take a shower and found a huge, nasty silver fish on the shower curtain. My husband took care of it. at least it wasn't roach. My daughter noticed mold in the shower in numerous places, both bathrooms. I was pretty bad, There was mold on the bathroom floors, dirt in the corners of the bathroom walls, dust a debris on the light fixtures. There were scuff marks all over the walls in the living room and guest bedroom. The combination of all of these things made us scornful and grossed out. We had to wear shoes at all times and definitely were disgusted everytime we touched a light switch or door knob or anything. The maid skipped our room on the first day, so I went to target and purchased can of Lysol to try to disinfect things a little. I picked up a towel off the floor to wipe off the bathroom countertop and there was a roach in the towel. This was quite upsetting, I hate roaches. Our sheets were not changed the entire time we were there. I was putting on some blush one morning and put a little dab on the bed sheet and pillowcase just to see if the sheets were being changed. That blush is probably still there. The room was not cleaned the entire time. The trash was taken out, towels were replaced and that's it. By the time we left, the floors were horrible. This hotel has the right idea and real potential, it's just down right dirty. The rooms are decorated nicely, the countertops are nice, there's lots of space, the grounds are lovely. I would say the rack rate is way too high. If you paid full price cancel your reservation now! If you got a discounted rate, like 60 percent off, I'd say it's a go, just bring some bleach.

« Looks like the pictures »

I am always hesitant to pick a hotel based on pictures. After reading many recent reviews through different websites and looking at traveler pictures, I picked this hotel over the Embassy Suites nearby. I was very happy with our 3 bedroom and although the kitchen and living area was a little bit tight for space, it was great having the amenities and a place to lounge besides on our bed. And it was nice not having someone above us as in a normal hotel room. It was like our own little town house.

« What an amazing place for a family getaway!!! »

We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of our trip to Florida, and instantly we wished we had stayed there for the entire trip. To start the staff was very friendly. We travelled with our 8 month old, and we got there hours early, so we were extremely happy when they were able to do an early check in for us. When we got to our villa we were again pleasantly surprised. The place was huge. The facilities were very clean. We had a full kitchen as promised when we booked (there was enough cooking ware etc for our needs). The resort area is beautiful with views of the pond area and fountains. The pool was great. Heated to the perfect temperature. The entire resort was clean. The location is unbeatable. Close to everything. We definitely plan to stay here again in the future!

    « Underwhelmed »

Was disappointed upon arrival as we had been told that accommodation would have a full kitchen. We had specifically asked for this when booking. The apartment we were allocated had only a hob but no oven. We also found out quite quickly that there were fleas in the apartment. When these problems were highlighted to management we were moved quickly to alternative accommodation with full cooker (and no fleas). This was handled competently and efficiently by management. Although facilities in the apartment were good there was insufficient crockery, cutlery and cookware. No baking pans, no kettle, no skillet (frying pan), no bowls in which to make a salad or serve vegetables etc. We asked management for additional items and were provided with them quite quickly. Housekeeping was o.k.but they seemed to overlook need for replacement toilet rolls. Again, these were delivered when requested. The accommodation itself was dated and dull and had mould in the shower over bath and window frames were mildewed. Vents in the floor of bedrooms for heating were full of dirt, dust and debris. Unfortunately the walls were paper thin and one lot of neighbours had dogs which barked at anything that moved and the second lot had very noisy and uncontrolled children who disturbed us very late at night, I.e. Midnight and also early in the mornings (6.30). Facilities in site were good and the swimming pool felt warm and looked inviting. It's a shame that, due to lack of attention to detail this resort fell short. A bit more care and these problems would not have arisen. It could be a really good resort with a little more input.

Very nice people working, we got in late but were well greeted. For the price we were paying we weren't expecting anything super nice, we didn't realize that these are basically 2 bedroom/2 bathroom town homes. We could have had a second couple, or kids there and it would have been no problem. Very happy!

    « Loved this hotel! »

I loved staying at this property. I especially love the 2 story floor plan with a major room down stairs and up stairs (separate my kids from us). There was a nice kitchen, 4 flat screen tv's, & an office area with a desk. Very enjoyable experience!

« Great place for family stay »

We stayed at the resort from Jan. 9 to 16th. It was fabulous time. The pool was great, the hot tub was perfect, the food was great at the restaurant and they offer room service, the grounds are kept beautiful. Shopping with in walking distance and a miniature golf course with live alligators at the end of the drive way. They even helped us with our passes to Universal Studios. Our stay at the resort as as PERFECT AS PERFECT can get. We will see you next year !!

« Great place to stay! »

There were seven men in my group going to the Mecum Auto Auction. Our stay at this hotel was perfect! We had plenty of room, everything was clean and worked well. I would not hesitate to stay there again and neither would any of the other six in the group!

« Spacious, updated Villas Near Disney with great value »

I stayed here the week of January 4, 2016 on business for 4 nights in unit 3063. The unit was a town house style 2 bedroom 2 bath with full kitchen. The finishings were nicely updated, counter tops, kitchen appliances, linens, bedding etc. We had a nice view of a small lake with water fountain which I believe all units have a similar view. The lobby was very nice and updated. Nice swimming pool and hot tub behind the lobby and adjoining restaurant. I like that you can order breakfast into your villa, that is not usually common with Best Westerns or Villas. The beds were very comfortable and linens were updated and soft. There was also Neutrogena toiletries provided. The property is less than a 10 minute drive to Downtown Disney with lots of shops and restaurants near by. My only complaint is they were paving parts of the parking lot causing it to be blocked off. This was not communicated to us when we checked in at 10:30 pm from a late flight. We weren't able to even get to our villa bc the road was blocked so we had to go all the way back to get moved to a villa where the road was open. The next night even more of the road was blocked and we had to park on the opposite side of the property and walk through on the boardwalks. This wouldn't have been that big of an issue except the sprinklers were on and no way around them. I understand it's just something that had to be done but no notice from the property was disappointing. I would definitely stay here again, tho, despite the parking lot situation.

« Fantastic place to stay »

I approached this place after discovering my booked hotel being dirty and grimy, I was shown a villa and decided immediately this was the place for us to continue our holiday. Our stay with best western would rate as one of the best places I have stayed, the villa we stayed in was a different one to the one shown initially, but it was as clean and beautiful, Well stocked with all required toiletries and a note stating if anything was needed to contact reception. Ideally situated to visit all the attractions along with the outlets and other shopping. Just one question would be what mattress topper is used as I had the best night sleeps I have had in a long time. Thank you best western.

« An OK place to stay »

My friends and I stayed here from 28/12/2015 to 4/1/2016. At the first sight, it looked like a lovely living area. We are 6 adults and 1 child. We booked a condo with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 kitchen, 1 living room and 1 balcony. Toiletries are provided but not always the same products. Bath towels sometimes have hair in them. However there are bugs in the property. We mentioned it to the reception, but was told that this is normal. I just cannot believe it! The complimentary shuttle bus only operates twice a day. The bus also has to pick up people in other hotels. It is crowded and took like an hour to get to EPCOT. When we drive to EPCOT, it only takes 15 minutes. In conclusion, I would say that it is ok, but maybe try to look for some other better options if possible.

« Wow !!!! A must if your going to Disney and other parks »

Amazing hotel!!!! The suites are like little apartments. I loved that my 2 boys were in their separate room and we had a kitchen. This helped my wife and I rest while my boys watched TV and made their own snacks. Very clean and modern rooms. I recommend this hotel 100%. Easy access to Restaurants, Grocery stores and Theme parks.

    « Dusty and stuffy »

I got this villa at a great rate..well it was too good to be true! It was so dusty and stuffy. There was hair and piles of dust all behind the beds, tables, and on the bathroom floors. The carpet is was old and had an odor. The beds were comfortable, and the linens were clean, but we could hardly breathe because of the obvious lack of cleaning over a long period of time.

    « Needs new managment »

This was a nice place to stay for families. It was clean and comfortable large showers and comfortable beds. Our only complaint was the day we checked in we arrived from Amtrak at around noon. We went by the hotel to see if they possibly had our rooms ready. We had purchased 2 rooms at the same time but for some reason the hotel did not pick up on that. The rooms were not ready yet but we were told that check in time was 4pm and we should return then for our rooms. We arrived back at the hotel just before 4pm and inquired about our rooms and we were told that they were still not ready but to check back in 20 mins. The hotel desk manager radioed housekeeping to verify the rooms that we were to be assigned were being cleaned. After 20 minutes we returned to check in and the front desk manager checked and our rooms were still not ready but assured me in 15-20min they would be ready this went on and on until we were finally able to check into 2 different rooms than the originals that we were assigned because of a cancellation. I am not sure how much longer we would have had to wait had there not have been a cancelation. Just after 5pm I also contacted Best Western customer service who could not help other than to call the hotel to find out what was going on. I requested to speak with the general manager. I was told that she,Tammy, was on vacation and they had been trying to call and text her to no avail. We stayed at the hotel for 5 days. Nobody from managment ever contacted us to offer any apologies etc. I also never heard back from Best Western customer service, who supposedly filed a "ticket" for the manager to follow up on. So just beware that Managment at this facility is lacking and if you have any issues they will be at your own risk. I will think twice before I use Best Western again.

    « Only Average »

Upon arrival, the house allocated to us looked nice and very clean. There were two bedrooms and bathroom upstairs, lounge, kitchen and shower room downstairs. The daily cleaning and change of towels was excellent. Being located on the 192, convenient for the theme parks and shopping malls. The negatives were lack of comfort in the lounge. The sofa was so hard, with no scatter cushions, we were unable to sit and relax in the evenings. Unfortunately, you could hear the neighbours very clearly from each side. Not only talking, but children running around and the beds squeaking. The porch had no screen, if sitting outside to eat, squirrels appeared and would not leave us alone. Hence, retreating into the house. Some maintenance was needed, some lights were out and a ring on the hob didn't work. Overall, the staff were very helpful though. We are regular travellers to Orlando, but compared to other accommodations we have stayed at, this one can only be classed as just average.

« Excellent stay for a nice price »

We had an enjoyable stay at these Villas! There was more than adequate space for our family of 4 - the villa was clean, the beds and pillows were comfortable, there was ample, close parking, and staff were responsive and friendly. The location is convenient to the major area attractions and there are many dining options nearby. This resort will be on our short list of places to return to when we're in the Kissimmee area! One item to make note of - at check-out, I was surprised that there is a daily resort fee of $12...we booked our stay through TripAdvisor, and I don't remember that fee being clearly disclosed. I went back to my reservation e-mail from TripAdvisor and it's not mentioned there, either. Just be aware of this fee when adding up your total cost.

    « Perfect »

We had a lovely 5 day stay here with our two small kids. Clean, very spacious, quiet and all amenities we needed; perfect for our family. Conveniently located, walking distance to Target and close to pretty much everything. The resort seems very well maintained. The pool was a bit cold but the kids absolutely loved it anyway. The free wifi worked well and so did the laundry room. We will definitely stay here again if we ever visit Orlando again and we warmly recommend it to everyone.

    « Absolutely wonderful »

This is my favorite place to stay while vacationing in the Orlando area. The property is absolutely gorgeous and it is conveniently located close to shops and restaurants such as Target and cracker barrel. The staff is professional and friendly and the villas are spacious and as close to home as one could ask for. I am so impressed with this property that I am now an annual customer. Great job Best Western.

« What would have been an excellent review was tarnished by a lapse to clean the room »

This is one of the best hotels for families that need to have a bit more space to spread out and have privacy. This is a like a 2 level condo. 1st floor, bathroom (with shower stall, sink, toilet), living room (with sofa bed, that we used), dinning room, galley kitchen. 2nd floor, 2 double bed bedroom, 1 queen bed bedroom, bathroom with door separation between toilet and bathtub and double sink room. Very nicely done. The hotel is wonderfully located on highway 192. If you're going to Disney world this is the best highway to be on. You just travel east and west on 192. Also you are near lots of easy to get to restaurants. Target is right next door to the hotel. You can walk there easily. There is a shuttle to/from Disney world parks. I took the shuttle one time from Epcot, and if you want to get a tour of many of the other hotels, do the shuttle, it will take a good 45 mins before you get back to the Saratoga. Get a rental car instead. This would have been an excellent rating, but on our last night, the room had been missed completely on its cleaning. Very very unfortunate. The last night we wanted to come back to a clean room, relax, pack and get ready for the grind at the Orlando airport. Instead we came back to un-made beds, towels still on the floor, etc. The phone also did not work, and I had to drive all the way back to the front of the resort to get towels. I reported the problem to the front desk again at checkout, they took off the $12 resort fee.

    « Loved It! »

Clean and quality rooms. They were close to pretty much everything, only 15 minutes max from most amenities that anyone can do kids, adults, elderly fun for the whole family. The beds were super comfortable and the showers were exceptional. They also have a game room, pool, nice work out center for those who do that on vacation. Overall, I really can't wait to go back there was so much to do I didn't get to enjoy it all!

« Get it together Florida »

We stayed at this property after our initial vacation rental was not up to par by any means. We were very impressed with property upon first glance. The townhome that we were located in was very beautiful and up to date. Once again, a company employees can ruin a vacation. Our vacation planner made alternate arrangements with this property's general manager after the initial property was full of bugs, old and out of date furniture and in a terrible location. When we got there we were told that we would have a place available immediately since the first day and 1/2 of our vacation was ruined. As soon as I tried to explain this to the front desk person he immediately attempted to shut me down and explain how the property had been sold out and we would not get in before the normal check in time of 4. I tried to explain to him again and he became annoyed and repeated himself. Then I read his name tag and he was a front desk supervisor...sad...So I decided to make a call and within 20 minutes we were in our townhome. From this point the restaurant on site took 30-40 minutes to "cook" breakfast and over an hour and 15 minutes to receive dinner...that's with 3 tables in the restaurant including ours. We only received housekeeping service the 5th day out of our 6 days. Trash and towels piled up. The telephones completely stopped working by day 2. All of this was reported and it continued the entire stay. The beauty of the property and the cost does not add up to the service!!

    « A pleasant surprise »

When you think of Best Western, sadly, the first thing that comes to your mind usually isn't "quality." However, this hotel was a pleasant surprise that refuted that image. The only complaint I have is that there was an unpleasant, chemical-like smell that stayed in our three-bedroom villa for our entire stay. Also, the villas do need a bit of upkeep regarding the carpet, paint, and decor. Otherwise, our stay was great. The location of the hotel was convenient to everything. We heard no noise from the neighbors. Parking was sufficient. The villas were spacious, and the beds were very comfortable.

« Smart Friendly quiet and Comfortable »

Spent two weeks in this villas resort. The Villa, a two bedroom was clean (cleaned daily) comfortable and spacious with a full kitchen and staff were happy to help if you needed anything just to ask. Free Wifi appreciated. Flat screen TVs in both bedrooms and sitting room. This villa had a downstairs toilet and shower room with an upstairs bathroom with shower with a door between the bath/toilet and double sink area, handy if a few people in the property. The kitchen had most things needed but note, no kettle, but a coffee maker provided with sachets of coffee. There was always coffee tea etc in reception area The beds comfortable with additional pillows in the cupboard. Patio area with table and chairs with fountain view. Car parking at the front of the villa quite near to the door. Resort seemed very well maintained, the pool clean and pleasant. There is a games room and a childs play area which we didn't use. Did use the laundry and change is needed for the washers and driers. Takes quite a large wash. There is a pleasant restaurant and bar on site, only used once as out a lot or self catering, but it was fine and its handy. There is also a computer room for internet and a printer is provided. There is a free bus to one of the Disney resorts and to a shopping mall, didn't use this though. Had a little difficulty finding the entrance lane to the hotel despite having Sat Nav. There is a large illuminated sign, still missed the entrance. Look for the illuminated trees along the drive for a sharp right turn.

    « Christmas in Orlando »

My family and friends (of 11) stayed at the Best Western Saratoga Premerie Resort and we had a wonderful vacation. We secured two bedroom units with full kitchens and right next door to another which was very convenient for the kids. Great amenities on the property (pool, game room, playground) unfortunately due to the all the theme parks we didn't spend a lot of time using them. The units were nicely decorated, updated with flat screen TVs in each room, free Wifi and comfortable beds. 2 full baths which made it very easy for everyone to get prepared in the morning. Modern appliances as well as. Property was very well maintained and the resort staff were very nice and professional.

    « BUGGGGS DIRTY »

Problems we had: No greeting when we got there, Room had funny smell, Carpet looks dirty and the color hides it good. Telephone doesn't work using the shortcut, I had to go and drive to the from desk to ask for pillows. Then they told me to press 0 not to press the shortcut on the phone..lol..Neighbors at midnight decided to get it on and have sex you can hear every moan and I had 2 kids in the room. Pillows we saw this small centipede bugs which were on the walls also. Leaving there was no ice. Horrible place.

My daughter and I chose this for a short Florida vacation we got at the last minute. Glad we paid the few extra bucks and stayed here. Quiet night sleep upstairs with our own bedrooms made it all worth it! Nice fountain view from the private patio.

« Best choice of stay we made in Kissimmee »

From the moment we entered the private driveway our days in Kissimmee got better. The desk-staff was extraordinary, the service is 5 stars from every member we encountered during our stay. The apartments are amazing, and great quality/price. No dull moments. With friends or family this is the quiet place to stay. Great security, amazing green areas. WiFi in the apartments. Lost of parking space. Minutes from recreation areas. Fun miniGolf just outside the Villas area. When we go back, this is a Hotel to go again. Loved every minute. Best Western is a name we trust.

« Long Business Work Week »

I needed a place to stay for a week long business trip.I had a kitchen which was full and apartment type style.I wish both rooms wasn't on the second floor and I had bad experience with customer service there.

    « Nice, but lackluster »

This hotel was very cute being villas instead of a traditional hotel room. The living area is quite small and can only seat about 4 people, but it does have a kitchen and a balcony. The lakes are very nice and there is a playground for the kids. The only reason for the 3 star rating is that the villa felt a bit dirty and smelt as though it used to be a smoking room.

    5
« Fabulous place to stay! »

This is a great place to stay, the rooms are villa type rooms and very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for a great place to stay. We had a overall great experience.

« Great place in a serene environment »

Spent a week in a villa belonging to Saratoga Resort villas. Great location accessible to all major attractions. Friendly staff always ready to help. Nice restaurant staffed by great person to get your day started the right way. Calm and serene even though the resort entrance is on a highway. Good eateries nearby while groceries also available at walking distance for those who want to cook because of dietary restrictions. No timeshare sales pressure at all :) Kitchen just furnished enough but it can be better equipped. Great experience specially when traveling with family and kids with dietary restrictions.

    « Don't stay here »

The sheets are nice the mattresses are terrible. Some staff are friendly but most are rude. The rooms are very clean but the cleaning staff took dirty towels off of the floor and hung them back on the rack to reuse. I did NOT hang up the I will reuse sign for the towels and even if I had they should not have been removed from the floor and hung up. The pool is not heated (at least when we were there in Nov.). The rooms were very clean when we arrived but that is not enough to ever get me back there.

    « Great stay! »

Reason for traveling was a hospital appointment, so we needed a calm, quiet setting for the night. We found it at Sarasota Villas even though it is located near busy Kissimmee shopping and Disney World. Plenty of space in a condo for all the family, and lovely grounds to walk and play in. Almost like having your own personal vacation home without the maintenance hassles. A pleasant surprise was the presence of cows in a nearby field making the location seem less urban and more relaxing. We will be back.

    « Nice Hotel »

I liked the hotel and the staff was great. They contract with a bus service to transport to and from Disney. This company(driver) was 30 minutes late for pick up and not professional. I would stay here again and most likely drive myself to the parks if the bus was late. The hotel had ice water and coffee in the lobby and it was a nice place to relax as well.

    « Best holiday »

Just returned home today after a 2 week stay here and it's been our best holiday in a long time, villas clean and maids came in every day to make beds (even though I done it) always took rubbish away and restocked toilet rolls, and what ever else you needed! Absolutely loved sitting on the porch area in the morning watching the baby aligators swim up and down, these villas are situatated right by market 12 on the 192, just look for the Congo river golf and they are next door. Only landed this morning and am already looking to book these villas for our next Florida holiday

« Tons of clean, comfortable space »

Stayed at the last minute on business and was amazed by the amount of space in the 2 bedroom/2 bath villa. Sitting areas upstairs and down plus full kitchen. Clean and well maintained. Would be great for families or groups.

« Rooms were big, great condition, quiet location 15 minutes from Disney world »

The villa room are spacious, the kitchenette was bigger and more stocked than some apartments I've been in. Everything was clean and we'll maintained....a true sign of great housekeeping and maintenance staff. The one thing that was weird was the window in the main floor bathroom. A person 6 foot tall could easily peep right in to see you shower. they wouldn't need to replace the windows, just cover them with a film or frosted laminate that would allow light in but not peeping eyeballs. We went to the bar for happy hour one day, sat there for 15 minutes with no greeting or service. There was two staff members at the front desk within eyeshot who could have helped us or at least told us that the bartender was delivering room service but they were busy talking to each other. We left and took our money elsewhere. One of the front desk staff was a manager. Unacceptable. One of them could have at least staffed the bar until the bartender returned.

    « July 2015 stay , it was hot , hot , hot !! »

Initial impression was good , nice landscaping and pretty villas. We had a 3 bed , 2 bath daily maid service. Booked a full kitchen villa through virgin holidays but this villa only had a hob and microwave, no oven ? we did have a dishwasher though :-) The villa was a little tired in places and the air con was noisy but effective There was a nice pool area and a restaurant which we ate breakfast at one morning. The lake views were good with plenty of wildlife including a baby alligator. Parking was right outside so no humping heavy bags after a trip to Walmart for supplies. The location was good with easy access to Disney or universal , Disney is closest. There is even crazy golf at the bottom of the drive. Laundry facilities available and an extra charge. Kids play area and basketball court. Staff were friendly and happy to help.

    « Was impressed! »

First room we had upon check in the air did not work. Called the front desk and they switched us yo an upgraded room. Hotel was clean and was impressed with how big it was. Screen door would not work, kept falling down. I did as gor something to bake with in the oven and they looked at me Like I was crazy. If it comes with a stove there should be at least a pan for the oven. All in all the place was nice, laundry room only had 1 washer that worked.

    « Fantastic resort »

We stayed here Oct 10th until 26th Oct and really loved the Saratoga. Lovely accomodation with a patio backed onto a lake, which we saw a small alligator and turtles in. The 2 bed 2 bath house we had was perfect, very clean and spacious. I cannot stand one hotel bedroom to share with everyone for a long period and this was exactly what we needed. The restaurant serves lovely food and they also provide room service, which is very handy after a long day at the parks. The pool, I found perfectly big enough for the amount of guests using it. Some have said in other reviews it is small, considering most people go out almost every day I found it was never overcrowded and was a good size. The hot tub was a good treat also. The staff are very friendly aswell as helpful. Thanks to you all for making us feel welcome. They also provide ticket sales to themeparks and attractions on site at great prices. The location on the 192 was great, close to disneyworld which is abt 10 minutes drive, also close to universal and premium outlets. They have a target, Dennys, Applebee and mini golf within walking distance. In all I would highly recommended this place and for the price I think it was definitely 5 out of 5 for us.

    « All good things... »

So I will start off saying, we are Disney World season pass holders and we stay in the Orlando area 5 - 6 times a year usually for 4 - 5 days at a time. This was probably our 10th + time staying at this hotel we usually get the 3 bedroom. I have always given it 4-5 Star ratings in the past, but I can not this time. Our issues started at check in. When we went to check in there was a single employee manning the front desk and two other customers waiting before me. Ok not a huge deal, but took almost 15 minutes to even get helped. So then we finally get checked in, and we go to our room. We get there get everything unloaded from the car, and realize the room we were put in was missing some of the amenities that we had reserved. So I called the front desk, and told them. The first response I received was that they didn't have any of the rooms of the type I reserved. Once I explained that was not acceptable, I was told they would "See what they could do, and call me back". So we waited. About 10 minutes later I get called back and told, "We don't see those amenities listed on your reservation". I explained I had printed it out and would bring it to show them. So the guy at the front desk said, "Yeah please do that". I went to the office showed them my reservation, they then assigned me another room. So I go back get the family and check the new room. Guess what, missing the same things. So I call again. The guy at the office asks me if I am sure it doesn't have the amenities. I tell him yes I am sure I am standing in the room and they are not here. He tells me he will call me back. He calls back almost instantly, and tells me to check again because the computer says the unit I am in has them. I repeat to him I am I the unit and it does not have the correct amenities. He tells me to come back to the office. So I go back to the office again. They tell me they have found a unit by moving someone else's reservation and the front office manager goes to check it out to make sure it has the right stuff. After another 10 minutes he calls back to the Front desk and tells him it does. They make us new keys and the front desk guy gives me the unit number and it is the same unit number we started with. He then says, oops I transposed a number and remakes the keys for the new unit. He tells me it is in building G. Then goes to help another customer. I didn't leave yet as I was looking for the unit he said on the map. It wasn't there. So after he finishes helping the customer he was with, he asks me what I need. I tell him it is not on the map, he looks and can't find it either. At this point the front office manager showed back up and explains the map has an error and where the unit is. So we load up the car again head to the opposite side of the property and go in to check the unit. At first we couldn't even get the door open because the door handle was broken and would only open if the handle was pulled a specific way. But then we got in, the unit seemed a little warm, but it had the correct amenities. We arrive at the property at 4:30pm we were not in our final unit until just after 5:45pm. We were never told sorry, never offered help moving everything, and we're not offered anything for the hassle. Our second night there we decided to opt for pizza delivery. The driver called us from the front gate and said he could not get in. I called the front desk and was told there was a guard there. I had the driver on the phone who confirmed there was not a guard there. The front desk person then told me "Ok they are headed out there now. It took several more minutes for the pizza guy to get through, and he told me someone else was waiting behind him. Well we had other issues during our stay but I didn't even bother calling front desk because it was extremely obvious they do not care. The WiFi here is unusable anymore, and as someone who works in IT and is on call even when on vacation, that is a bad thing. This has been a problem the last several stays, you can see this in one of my older reviews and many others reviews as well. The AC struggled to keep up, the entire time. I didn't call that in cause the family didn't want to have to move again. We also had neighbors outside at 4am having a party. Screaming at the top of their lungs, banging around in their unit, etc. Tried calling the front desk but got no response. This went on for about 2 hours. All in all the most disturbing part of the stay though, was the attitude I got when asking for the correct type of room I reserved. It was an attitude of them feeling I was being extremely unreasonable by asking for something I had reserved and paid for a month ahead of time. It is not all bad though. The house keeping here does an amazing job. The place is quiet. But all said and done this will be our last stay here. The sub par WiFi and seemingly down hill turn in the attitude of the staff, make it so we will move on to another property. Like others have said. It is easy to see how this is not a top 3 property anymore.

    « Great Stay! »

Spacious rooms, close to Orlando theme parks, clean and efficient hotel. Works great for extended families on vacation together and on-site amenities fit the bill for a week's stay or even a quick weekend. Nice, comfortable beds and on-premise grounds are pleasant and well maintained. Will stay again soon.

    « Worst hotel ever!!! »

It was my first time in Florida and my first trip to Disney World and I decided to stay here because I've always had good experiences with Best Western, but not this one. First off, they took out all of my money at check in and I was broke the whole time I was there. Nobody told me that's how it was done there. And then Joe, the front desk manager, is a total idiot. He said I'd get my money back the next day and I didn't. He lied to me and was annoyed because I was upset. And then the general manager, Tamara, didn't care at all that I was upset. She didn't apologize or offer to do something for us after everything. And 2 out of 5 nights we were there, the stupid maids didn't clean our room. I feel like we were being spotted for nothing and it's not fair. This place is an absolute hellhole and I would never stay there again. We got scammed, rude service, an unclean room, and I felt like we were being punished for no reason. Everybody at this hotel is awful and they don't make you feel welcome and they don't care if you're upset. Even if I didn't like someone, I wouldn't recommend this place. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Even if you sleep in your car, you'd be better off than this terrible place.

Great Hotel ! From the moment we drove into the front of this hotel, we knew we were home. Ms. De Jesus , at the front desk was GREAT, huge smile, pleasant and knowledgeable. Gave us info about the hotel and area and handed us the keys to our townhome. The room was great, super clean and smelled really good. We were 6 adults and we had plenty of space to move around. The hotel has a restaurant on site and also a bar with happy hour. The reason why this hotel did not score a 5 with me was 1) they advertise the main pool is heated , and I found the water to be very cold, not heated at all. 2) the hotel ran out of pillows and blankets for the sofa bed. Luckily, my son was driving from Miami that night and brought some with him. For a non local guest, that might be a huge problem. The housekeeping staff is super friendly as well. As a travel agent, I like to stay at different hotels that way I can sell them better, but this hotel made me feel so at home that I will definitely return soon and I will not doubt about selling it to families. Thanks for a lovely stay.

    « Definitely will return »

I was very impressed with this hotel. Our room was great and everything was clean and well maintained. It was a great value for the price paid. Our family loved the pool and grounds. We ate at the onsite restaurant and the food and service were both excellent. This will be my go to resort for visiting Disneyworld.

    « Nice facility »

Very nice facilities with many amenities. Close to all the attractions we planned on seeing. The only bad experience was at the restaurant. You will be more comfortable and have a better experience if you walk to the Denny's restaurant next door. The service was very good throughout the hotel except at the restaurant, thats the only reason I scored service as terrible.

    « Great Choice »

This property is everything it's cracked up to be. Both outside and inside the villas are very nice. Plenty to do for everyone. We had the 2 bedroom villa and it's like vacationing in a town home. There was plenty of towels and dishes to use. There is daily house keeping, although we kept it pretty clean so there wasn't much to clean. There is a resident gator on the premises in the pond up front. The bad part about that is that the play ground is next to it. Be careful. There is free Wi-Fi but the strength is very weak so don't count on using it. This location is close to everything. I'm so happy we choose this property and will definitely return.

    « Awesome Place »

We really enjoyed our stay. Our two room villa was awesome clean neat and plenty of towels. The pool was clean yes there were some what is called blind mosquitoes they hatch this time of year here in Florida and are a pain in the butt. The staff was also very nice Mr. Dee you run a good front office staff. We will be back for sure this was our first visit here and really enjoyed the stay.

« Overall nice hotel, but falls short on a number of things »

*Everything below is my opinion, not fact* Driving into the resort I was very impressed by the landscaping and cleanliness of the property. Everything is nicely painted. The rooms was clean and free of any smell. The unit was remodeled but used cheap finishes like laminated cabinets (no door hardware, so laminate was peeling away from cabinet from repeated use), laminate counters that look like granite, and laminate 6 panel doors (laminate is peeling away at bottom). The complaints... patio floor was dirty from cigarette ash and dirt that was cleaned off. Paper towels and toilet paper weren't replenished when unit was turned over mid week. The pool appears clean at first glance, but it was filled with dead mosquitos floating on the surface (never removed during my stay)

« Absolutely more than expected »

We stayed here one night while visiting Disney World. For what we paid, you generally get a normal hotel room. Staying a little further from the major attractions, we basically got a new construction townhome for the night. It was two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. There was also a living room, kitchen, and a loft. If you plan on spending any amount of time, seriously consider this resort. You won't be disappointed.
