    « Very good overall »

Very good stay. Good staff. Good breakfast. Good location for Grand Canyon - San Francisco bay trip. Door facing outside so a bit windy in winter when walk in hall way. If the hall way is indoor that will be better.

    « Found Gem »

Decided to stop a little short of destination and found a gem. Rooms very nice for price and near several good choices for meals. Staff very friendly. The very best "hotel breakfast" I had during a 4 week trip.

« Great Price great room »

Great room large clean room great quality service. I love breakfast bar. I really felt like I was home. For the price I got it's best room I have ever received. I believe it it a great place for traveling family.

We always enjoy staying at this hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and well-appointed. We make this trip often and the BW Plus King's Inn & Suites is a great oasis on the road.

« Nice room but heating cooling did not work. »

Room, appearance was exceptional but heating did not work and nothing, other than an additional blanket offered to keep warm. Room temperature fell to 64 degrees during the night while outside temperature fell to low 30's. No offer of another room or free nights due to the inconvenience, just an apology

    « A stay in Kingman, AZ »

Staying on Route 66 in Kingman, AZ is a pleasure. The rooms are all junior Suites, and are very comfortable. Their breakfast is super, it is like savings $15.00 by eating an excellent breakfast there then going to a near by restaurant.

    « Last night »

We often stay at Best Western Hotels and we have stayed at this one before. It was our last night on the road as we were traveling to Mesa for several months and we were not disappointed. I used the whirlpool spa in the evening and found it very relaxing. This hotel has one of the best breakfasts I have ever encountered while traveling. The room was very quiet even although it is on a fairly major traffic artery. Staff were excellent, service was great.

« Nice clean room, big shower with shampoo and rinse dispensers, friendly and accomodating staff, good breakfast »

Perfect for a short weekend trip. Very convenient to highway and an easy walk to a number of food choices. The room was clean and equipped with microwave and fridge. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was good selection for the free breakfast but got pretty crowded. I would stay again if I was in the area.

    5
    « Quick Family Trip »

Everyone was amazing and treated me and my daughter's like family even though we were only there for a few hours. We would definitely stay again if we find ourselves that way and will let any of my friends that travel know how great this place was.

  • 5
    « I'll be back »

Would definitely go there again. Only disappointment was an odor of cigarettes in my non-smoking room. The food, staff, comfort, and ease from major highways made my stay a joy. Couldn't have asked for a better variety for breakfast.

    « Outstanding value »

The city of Kingman didn't wow me, but this Best Western did. My room was large, immaculate, and very well-appointed, with thoughtful touches like quality toiletries, a mini fridge and a microwave. The bed was super comfy. The front desk staff were very nice, too. I'm deducting one point for the wi-fi: the signal (in my room, anyway) was so weak it was essentially worthless. Still, this place is a winner.

« Extremly obnoxious treatment by problem employee salvaged by Emily and Shirley on check out »

We spent the previous night at the BW Prescottonian and had the desk clerk check out folks make our reservation at BW King's Inn, Kingman, AZ for the night. Expressly asking for a lower floor of handicap room. Prescottonian did make the reservation but did not specify room preference. Upon arrival, my wife went it to confirm room and by the time I got in, the extremely unfriendly and obnoxious young man had told my wife "they had no bottom floor rooms left". I ask the same question and he never even looked to double check. (Found out in AM that there were several ground floor rooms available.) Well, it was abit past 5:00 pm and maybe 6 cars in the parking lot so that was total BS. "OH . . . we have an elevator" was the response from the other employee behind the desk. So, we loaded all our crap onto a cart, up the elevator we go and head to out room, approximately 200 yards away. Needless to say, pretty upset with attitude of what was revealed the following morning, the last few days of the becoming former employee who created this unnecessary scenario to begin with. Upon check out, the desk lady, Emily asked how our stay was so we told her what happened. She immediately got the manager on duty, Shirley and she was obviously quite upset about what happened. Long story short, problem was resolved with grace and appreciation to my wife and myself, Platinum Best Western members. If it wasn't for Emily and Shirley, we had no intention of ever staying at any Best Western ever again. WE are close to Diamond Status with BW this year and have spent about 5-6 nights at the BW Kings Inn, Kingman, AZ in 2016.Putting untrained people on any shift dealing with paying clients is so wrong in so many ways. You have Emily and Shirley to thank for salvaging this scenario which should have never happened in the first place. BW needs an "employee training program" to weed out the folks that have no idea how to treat clients. This type of recognition toward myself and / or my wife will only happen one more time!

« Nice clean pet friendly hotel »

Was heading out to Las Vegas, needed a place to sleep for the night, lucked out when we found this one. Clean, quiet, comfortable. The only issue is there is another Best Western across the street and we stopped there first (not realizing it was the wrong one) lady at front desk called and sent me in the right direction. Very pleased with this location.

    4
    « A typical motel but OK »

For a motel this features an outdoor swimming pool which unfortunately we did not have time to use. The rooms were very spacious with good facilities. Breakfast was included which wasn't expected and was very good.

    5
    « Great Place »

Very pleased with easy access for handicap person. Stayed both coming and going across country. Close to several eating places. Professional stafff very helpful and cheerful. Quick return to interstate.

« First class hotel, with very helpful staff »

We stayed at the Kingman Best Western Plus King's Inn and Suites for one night as part of our Route 66 adventure. The hotel was very easy to find, with a huge parking area, just off Andy Devine Avenue. The hotel is very well kept with manicured grassed areas. The room was very quiet. Our booking company made a slight error with our booking but the staff at Kingman resolved it quickly without any fuss. The room was huge, with two large double beds, modem facilities and a separate seating area. We walked next door to Oyster's Mexican and Seafood restaurant for our evening meal. It was a great Mexican food experience and the hotel provided a 10% coupon too. Breakfast was up to the usual high Best Western standards and the view across to Hackberry Canyon was great as we drank our morning juice.

    5
    « Ist. Class Ammenities »

This motel provides glasses in the rooms, real plates, real cups and silverware at breakfast in the morning and the best breakfast we had in 30 days of travel in 26 different motels and hotels. And they recycle everything.

    4
« Good value for a decent room »

This was our first stay at the BW in Kingman, Staff was excellent, the room was spacious and clean. The hotel is a bit dated but all amenity's were in excellent working order and the rooms appear to be kept up very well. A full hot breakfast made our stay a great value for our $$.

    3
    « Dated But Nice »

I was tempted to give the best Western a 4 star rating (it is a solid 3.5 star), but felt the place needed some up dating, Having said this, the morning breakfast was VERY GOOD. The staff was very pleasant and, truth be told, I would probably stay there again.

« Clean, comfortable, great free breakfast »

This hotel does not look like much on the outside, but the rooms are spacious, CLEAN and include many great amenities. The staff is friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. The breakfast selection was plentiful and tasty.

    5
« Top of the line hotel. Super clean and well run »

This was the cleanest, best run hotel I have been in in 45 years. I found nothing to clean. During my stay I was able to see housekeeping work on the rooms over several days, and the supervisory spot checks: outstanding. A guest had trashed the laundry room late in the day, the hotel had staff cleaning it up within minutes. The breakfast and morning crew were super. My only issue was: more tables for breakfast: it was never not full up with a wait. Price was reasonable and fair. Great place to stay!

    5
    « Great Value »

Newly renovated, good breakfast, clean, better than expected for the resonable price! Nice stop on the way to Grand Canyon, ask for the renovated side of hotel. Breakfast includes scrambled eggs, waffles, sausage and more.

    5
    « very comfortable stay »

I loved the dark towel in bathroom for make up removal, that save on bleaching the white towels. Having soap dispenser in shower was good idea. /the air conditioner was quiet and made it easy to sleep with low noise. The bed was very comfortable. Like being at home

    5
    « Wonderful Hotel »

We were traveling to relocate to another state for work and this hotel was wonderful. Great staff and great full breakfast. The beds were the most comfortable of any bed I've ever slept on in a hotel. Staff are superb in there service with any need you may have. It's close to the freeway and local stores and restaurants. It's a great place to stay overnight or short trips. The town is only 1 1/2 hours from Hoover Dam a must see attraction if you ever visit the area.

    4
« Better than average chain hotel »

We had a large room that was clean and perfect for our needs. Friendly efficient staff got us checked in very quickly. The breakfast was pretty good although it wasn't easy to get one of the limited seats. It was hot and well cooked so no real complaints. Recommend this hotel for its good location and price

    5
« Wonderful place to stay! »

We have always stayed at an another hotel while in Kingman. I chose this place because of the ADA room being available. I am so glad I did! The room was so big and spacious. My husband uses a walker and there was more than enough room for him to move around with it! Nice sitting area with a love seat and chair. There was a nice sized TV, fridge, microwave, nice shower with a seat available to put in it - just everything we needed. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast that we have ever had. The lobby and breakfast area were nicely decorated. All the employees we met always spoke and were very helpful. I absolutely recommend this place and it is now our choice while in Kingman!

    « Excellent stay for Route 66 »

Weekend trip for two couples on motorcycle route 66 trip stayed the first night in Kingman. Great hotel for the cost, breakfast was very good, lots of items. Rooms very clean, not outdated. Staff very accomodating.

    5
    « Perfect accommodation! »

My husband is wheelchair bound and it is challenging to find a room that allows for access to the bed with the wheelchair. Our room had a lovely chair and love seat but the placement of them prevented our access to the bed.......so the staff moved the furnature around in the room so that it would work! The roll-in shower was the best arrangement at a hotel we have found.....wonderful to have! The hotel is older but very well kept, inside and out, the room was very clean, smelled fresh, very comfy beds and for once....plenty of towels, and wash cloths. The staff was friendly, kind, very helpful and the guest is their focus. We used the guest laundry and it is clean, especially the machines and affordable too. Thanks for a lovely stay....we will come again when in the area!

    5
« Great Place to stay over »

We had a wonderful experience... the staff is very nice and they are so helpful. The night staff were very friendly and there was a nice breakfast...will stay here again!! Our Daughter and son in law stayed here recently with their small children. They were very happy with the room and told us about it.

    « Kingman Best Western - A good place »

Comfy beds and pillows. Outlets have easy access to use. Shower is a nice walk in shower with beautiful tile. Breakfast has something for everyone to chose from. Staff is great to work with and care about the guests who stay and what their needs may be. I would recommend and plan on staying myself again when in the area

    5
    « A wife's delight!! »

A wonderful place to stay, plenty of room. The room was fully equipped. Room had plenty of towels, even a special black one for removing makeup. The breakfast was SUPERB!!! Room had a flat screen tv, frig, & microwave.

    4
« Nice stop in your travels »

I was lucky enough to get the last room available that night. Staff was friendly and very accommodating to my needs. The rooms were clean and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was great, and the staff was very quick to replace anything getting low.

    4
    « Surprisingly good! »

We stayed for a one night stop over before doing Route 66 & we very pleasantly surprised at how good the room was for a motel. The staff very very friendly & helpful. The room was very clean & modern, with a coffee machine, microwave & fridge, the fridge was quite noisy so we just turned if down as we didn't need it. The price included breakfast, which was really lovely. Good value for money.

    5
    « Great Room »

Enjoyed a one night stay on route to the Grand Canyon. Staff friendly and courteous. Location was great, rooms clean and bed very comfortable, breakfast was great lots to pick from, good waffles make your own. Overall I give this hotel a 10.

    4
    « Breakfast Champs »

The Breakfast crew was the best we have ever encountered in our travels. They were courteous, pleasant and always attentive to the food. It was a pleasure staying at this Best Western and would return there the next time we are in the area.

    5
« Nicely updated, nicely designed »

Priced lower than the local competition, this property is recently updated, spotlessly clean, and comfortable. The interior design is pleasingly sophisticated, and the rate includes a good full breakfast.

    4
    « Great Rooms »

Best Western Plus King's Inn & Suites Our king bedroom was all that we could look for and want in a hotel/motel room. The room was very spacious, tastefully appointed and decorated...a very nice room. Wifi was included and there was a fridge and microwave. The beds were very firm and comfortable with the room being pretty quiet. The shower was impressive - a spacious tiled area, with a window in the top area of the wall, great for shower ventilation as well as letting in the natural morning light. A full, hot-cold breakfast was provided. And even though we arrived in the later hours of the service, it was still well-stocked. As included breakfasts go, this was one of the better ones. For daytime /evening dining there are a number of restaurants nearby. This Best Western is on Route 66. This is great hotel/motel that was priced reasonably when we stayed. Definitely the Best Western Plus King's Inn & Suites is worthy of your consideration.

    5
    « The Best! »

Since 2005 we have stayed at the Kings Inn Best Western and it still proves to be the best! Upon arrival you are greeted by friendly hosts who go above and beyond to provide personalized service. Josh, the assistant manager, is friendly and more than happy to provide any accommodations necessary to make the stay pleasant. Rooms are clean, recycle cans are available in every room and the bathrooms are pristine. The continental breakfast is a full course meal with choices of hash browns, eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, fresh fruits, waffles with an assortment of fruit or sweet toppings. Every single staff member is smiling and pleasant. I cannot say enough good things about the Kings Inn. As far as I am concerned It is the only place to stay in Kingman.

    5
« King's Inn Best Western Always the BEST »

I travel thru Kingman every year and always stay at this Best Western Plus. Management is great and the rooms are super clean and very comfortable. What more do you need. Breakfast area could be bigger, but not a real problem.

    « Comfy Motel »

Altho this is an older property (rooms open to outside), it's pretty well updated. Our room was a two queen suite, and it was roomy, with separate sitting area of couch, stuffed chair & coffee table, as well as desk and swivel chair. Lots of counter space in sink area. Inviting decor featuring the town's history. Altho many Best Western motels have brick-hard beds, these beds were comfy and plush. Great shower with soap and shampoo dispensers. Cool electronic door keys, neat magnetic do-not-disturb signs. The breakfast buffet was outstanding - delicious, plentiful, varied. I would have loved to give this place 5 stars EXCEPT our "no smoking" room smelled like smoke covered up with Fabreeze - the ashtray and matches sitting on the table when we got in should have been a dead giveaway, and I should have complained, but we got in late at night, and I wanted to believe it was a fluke. But I couldn't breathe thru my nose all night, and in the morn, our clothes smelled like cigarette smoke. Yuch! Hopefully this was an unusual occurrence, so I hate to fault the whole motel for some jerk who took a smoke break in a no-smoking room, but honestly this is a deal breaker for me - I hope management pays better attention.

    5
« Excellent Staff & Lovely Large Suite »

The 2 bedroom suite was quite large and well appointed....4 beds, 2 lounge chairs, 2 tables, double sinks, fridge+micro, wifi. Few hotels still supply a pad of paper and pen to write with, a phone book, and a Guest Guide for the town and hotel in a book...all these were supplied and made the stay more convenient. Also room walls decorated with historical photos of WWII era US Army Air Corps pics from Kingman. A huge air base existed here once upon a time. Thankful to all who serve now and back then. Access from I-40 West easy -1 minute, but when departing, take the scenic route thru town on old Rte 66 (Andy Devine Blvd). It's worth it and only a few extra minutes. To Best Western staff who made our stay so easy Sept 2016, thank you.

    « Best breakfast ever »

we were traveling back home to CA from Santa Fe and stayed at this hotel. We found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. The room was a typical BW plus room comfortable and provided for a good night sleep. But the next morning when we went to breast fast the food was out of this world. it was the best breakfast I have had at a BW or one of their competitors. All prepared on site, fresh, tasty. It made the trip to the Grand Canyon and drive home worth the stop in Kingman.

    3
    « Good for a night »

The room with King bed was clean and well appointed, even had a small refrigerator and microwave in addition to a coffee maker. Very comfortable bed and bedding. The complimentary breakfast was excellent and included a huge variety of breakfast foods. It was very crowded when we were there but the staff worked hard to keep replenishing the food and drinks. Coffee was very good. The only reason for the "Average" rating is that their A/C unit was amazingly loud at all fan speeds including the Low setting. That made for a rough night of sleep as it was warm when we were there so had to run the air all night. Other than that, a great stay that would have deserved a Very Good rating. The man at the front desk when we checked in gave us restaurant tips (we asked) and also told us a couple of the nearby restaurants would give a discount if we mentioned we were staying at the hotel. There are several restaurants within walking distance, which is a big plus if you're tired of driving. Also the location of the hotel is very convenient to the I-40 yet it is far enough away to be quiet.

    4
    « Nice stay in Kingman BW - King's Inn & Suites »

The hotel looks very nice and the staff were very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, they are converting smoking rooms to non smoking rooms and we got one that they just converted. I am very sensitive to smells and could still smell some old smoke. They did spray and it helped some. Otherwise, it would have been a great stay. The breakfast is very good!!

    « Average »

Stopped here for the night between California and Arizona. Was able to book a room using iPhone and Best Western App. Neat. Only available room was a suite-- sweet. Clean but a bit shabby. Reasonable amenities and a frig and microwave. Bed comfortable and pillows full. No smoking but lots of smokers in parking lot . Breakfast was remarkably good but breakfast room was packed and TV loud. Easy on/off highway. No major complaints. Glad we stayed here.

« Great place to stay! »

We were going to stay at one of the lower cost motels in Kingman, but so glad we didn't! Some of them were in sketchy neighborhoods. The Best Western Plus King's Inn had a very nice room (we stayed on 2nd floor). It was very clean and even had Bath and Body Works toiletries. The bed was very comfortable. The pool was nice, but a bit chilly. I'm not sure it was heated. There were lots of restaurants nearby. Some were within walking distance. The free breakfast was wonderful and included eggs, sausage, bacon, hash browns, biscuits, gravy, pastries. Hubby was thrilled! We had never stayed at a Best Western Plus before, but because of this positive experience, we are booking another Best Western stay in a different location!

« Wonderful staff and breakfast! »

My husband and I stayed here on a recent trip driving around the Grand Canyon and I have to say the people who worked there made our stay wonderful. A sweet young lady named Rea checked us in. It was so nice to be greeted so kindly after a long day of flights and then driving. The room we stayed in was comfortable and pretty clean (I am a bit of clean freak so a place has to be spotless for me to be completely happy.). There was a motorcycle group there the night we stayed but I must say we never heard them at all. The hotel was quiet and we had a very restful night. The next morning we decided to try out the complementary breakfast. That breakfast was probably the best breakfast we had on our entire trip and that is including the ones we paid for!!!!! I couldn't believe it! Hot breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, pastries, fruit, juices and even more! Then when I didn't think I could be any more happy, I met Laurie. She was the nicest person. She took the time to come to our table and make sure everything was alright. She also went to the main desk for me to find out Rea's name since I had forgotten to ask her name the night before. I wish everyone had a personality like Laurie! Best Western should be proud to have employees like Laurie and Rea. They made my day and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

    « Don't judge a book by its cover »

We stayed here twice on an outbound and return trip - same room - 118. It was updated, clean, newer carpeting, rainshower, good mattress, lots of pillows, good towels and counter space. Excellent breakfast and great attendants. All the staff were outstanding. Easy to get off and on the interstate. We advised management about the lack of a fan in the bathroom, which has been taken under advisement.

    « convenient location »

This hotel is easy on and off the highway and is located right on Route 66. It is clean and the rooms are comfortable, not luxury but homey. The pool is well kept and the continental breakfast is very good and is constantly replenished. The staff were happy to give travel suggestions (those that knew their way around).

    « Exploring Arizona »

This is a great hotel!!!! It was extremely clean the staff was very very friendly and the breakfast buffet had everything you want even make your own waffles. The swimming pool and hot tub was very clean and perfect temperature. I was nervous visiting a place I had never been and it exceeded my expectations. I would definitely stay there again It is also located perfectly for day trips to grand canon and Hoover dam and much more. We stayed 3 nights on our journey across Arizona and the Rte 66 restaurants and shops are just down the street. The train was not a bother at all it was actually really cool to see go by. Definitely choose this hotel ??

    « Passing through »

We had reservations made but upon arrival the room had only 1 bed instead of 2 as requested. Both desk receptionist Rhi and Dana R. Were absolutely great and arranged a family suite room for the same price. Major kudos to Rhi and Dana, Thank you very much Tommy & Stan

    « King's Inn - Kingman, AZ »

My buddy and I just completed a 2,500 mile, 10 day Harley ride around the Southwest. The room, the amenities and the staff was the best of the entire ride and most of our hotels were Best Western but the King's Inn was the best of the lot.

    « Outstanding first experience »

This visit has insured that I will be Including Best Western in the future searches for Dog Friendly accommodations. The outstanding breakfast made certain I stayed here again during my return trip!!!

    « Best one yet »

This is the best, Best Western we've ever stayed at! The room had a great shower stall, instead of a tub. That's a plus. We had real plates & silverware instead of paper & plastic at breakfast. Everyone was so nice. The bed was very comfortable. Very quiet.

    5
« Wonderful culmination of trip »

This was the last night on our way home from a trip retracing our honeymoon and visiting family to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. This was a great way to finish it! The staff met us with a card and sparkling cider. The Staff was universally friendly. The room was great and we had a great night's sleep. We met great people both at the pool and at breakfast.

« Good location, clean and well appointed »

This hotel on the edge of Kingman is handy to I-40 and to the historic downtown. The rooms are recently renovated and very clean. Service was friendly. Breakfast was very good, though the room was quite crowded at 7:00am on a weekday. Separated entrances to each room. Pool looked nice though we did not use it.

As this was the first stay in my trip, I was very content with the impression of my stay at the hotel. This first impression was the factor which persuaded me to continue to use Best Western as my place of stay throughtout my trip.

    « Super clean!! »

I have high expectations of a hotel rooms cleanliness, and this one is one off the cleanest I've ever stayed it! Front desk was super nice! Only compliant is the shower head isn't great for rinsing out long hair! A different shower head would work wonders!

As a return customer, I was appalled by the unprofessional treatment by your staff at the BEST WESTERN Plus King's Inn & Suites; specifically that of Aaron, your on sight night Manager/Auditor. We arrived as a late check in on Friday, August 19, 2016; exhausted from our long drive, we looked forward to a relaxed stay in a cool, clean, NON-smoking environment. Unfortunately, our room 110 was less than desirable; stale with a reminince of cigarette smoke. As an asthma sufferer and non-smoker, this was not only dissatisfying, but more importantly a health concern. We returned to the front desk, clearly explaining our dilemma to a female attendant and another gentleman, Aaron; at which point were given another room. Again, room 206 was also reeking of stale cigarette smoke. I expressed my concern to the front desk and was told, by the female attendant, ?my reservation would be cancelled and that we would receive a full refund?. Having made our reservations through Expedia, I clearly asked if there was anything I needed to do to ensure our refund. She stated ?Aaron, our manager on duty, is out and will ask as soon as he returns.? Instead of dealing with us directly, Aaron at first sat behind the counter eating his chips, then later was running from room 110 to room 206, in a clear attempt to disprove our complaints; all the way around unprofessional. In any event, we were given the all clear. In an attempt to make certain we receive a full refund, I requested a notation be made of our experience. The female attendant assured us of our refund by stating Expedia would call them, and they would confirm it. However, this was not the case; we were denied any refund by Expedia based on their contact with the BEST WESTERN Plus King's Inn & Suites, Aaron. I find his actions deplorable, and absolutely unethical!

    « Very nice stay »

This Best Western is one of the best overall hotels of this chain that we have stayed at. Very clean, friendly accommodating staff, great breakfast and comfortable bed. Will diffidently be looking for the "Plus" name on their signs in the future.

    « Stop-over enroute to Grand Canyon »

At first I thought, another American sleazy inn, but it was clean, comfortable and well worth it. Breakfast and wifi included. We have a huge Kingsize bed with decent mattresses, we were fairly tired from a long day of flights and driving, and appreciated the comforts of the hotel. Breakfast was standard, with scramble eggs, bacon, muffins, toast and waffles. No fresh milk for your coffee, but the coffee was good. Staff friendly and check-in took less than 5 minutes. On the down side, we found the wifi slower than the mobile network.

Reasonable room had a pet friendly room ground floor near pool. Breakfast is very much appreciated most every thing you would want. Has pool and spa is enclosed from cold or wind. Direct reservations taken at hotel not service outside that puts you on long hold. Been a guest several times here. Restaurants walk near by hotel too.

« what a surprise, perfect place to stay on a roadtrip »

Being on a roadtrip with a group of four we did not expect much during a one night stay. However we were very much surprised by the friendly staff, clean rooms and the service. Check in went very smoothly and we stayed in the left part of the hotel on the ground floor. It's near a railroad and occasionally you hear a locomotive passing by, however not that disturbing as someone mentioned in the reviews and actually it contributes a bit to the atmosphere of Route 66. Swimming pool is near the road however large gate around which only can be accessed with the room keys, so safe for the kids. Supermarkets are just a few miles away, in case you would like to buy some food and beverages (we didn't try any restaurants nearby). Hotel has a self-service laundry area as well with well maintained machines (perfect after a day of hiking). Staff was very friendly and helpful. The continetal breakfast was also good (I started to get addicted to the Waffles). We have enjoyed our stay.

    « Very clean motel »

My husband, 18 year old daughter, and I stayed one night in a junior suite with 2 queen beds and a sitting area. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and smelled good. I usually eat primarily fruit for breakfast. There were only apples and bananas for fruit. The outdoor pool and hot tub were clean with pool towels in the closet. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

« Great staff, clean rooms, excellent breakfast »

I have been staying at the Best Western Plus Kings Inn & Suites a lot the past few months because of reoccurring work I've needed to do in Kingman. The staff is consistently kind and attentive. And not just to me because I've been staying there more frequently. I see a high standard of service given to all the customers, whether at breakfast, servicing the rooms or at the front desk. On a busy summer travel day this month I watched an employee at the front desk named Emilie treat customers after customer with high quality service and a genuine smile. This means a lot to weary travelers. It's nice to feel welcomed and respected - something you don't always see at other affordable hotels. The property seems well maintained and clean. All the bathrooms I have had in my rooms were updated with roomy showers and a built in shower bench. They serve a great hot breakfast. Good location near the Interstate, shopping and restaurants. A fair price for good service, a clean room, tasty breakfast and a good night's sleep.

    « Never Disappointed »

The front desk staff always make me feel welcomed. The rooms are well appointed and the breakfast choices are good. This hotel is close to the interstate and a shopping district as well as the historical sites in Kingman. Hats off to Emily, Shirley and Dana!

    « Clean and updated »

This Best Western has roomy double queen rooms with a sofa seating area. The rooms were clean and airy, recently updated. Breakfast was a bit crowded, but very good, with bacon, sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, fruit, oatmeal, waffles, yogort and toast. The pool area was clean and well maintained. The outdoor pool was perfect for an evening swim.

« As good as they get! »

I almost always stay in Kingman when traveling through Arizona on I-40 and this place gets better every time. The rooms are great. The beds are great and the rooms are always clean. I think this is the first time I've had the chance to enjoy their breakfast but will make sure I do from now on. Huge selection and all of it great.

    « jan »

we stay at this Best Western every three months on our way to California because of the following reasons. All of the employees are very helpful and professional. The room is always clean and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is always hot and they have a good variety of food to choose from. The price of the room is reasonable

    « Personal »

Hotel met all our expectations. Front desk staff as well as breakfast personnel were great. Food on breakfast buffet was good. Certainly enjoyed the fresh donuts from Bashas. Will return to this hotel if we're in the area again.

« Good Route 66 motel but next to Amtrak! »

This is a good motel with lots of facilities such as outdoor swimming pool, guest laundry, free hot breakfast, two queen beds in every room, microwave, fridge and tv. It is very conveniently located If you're travelling Route 66 or as a stop off on the way to the Grand Canyon but bear in mind that Kingman lies on the main Amtrak line and huge mile long freight trains pass through all day and all night. I'd be surprised if you could find anywhere in Kingman that isn't near the railroad so if you intend to stop off in the town this motel is a good choice.

« Two Pet Friendly Best Westerns in Kingman. This one likes kitties »

Kingman AZ boasts two Best Westerns, and they are in sight of each other. Both places are Pet Friendly, but the other Best Western does not accept cats. They should call themselves Dog Friendly, and save folks like me the trouble of calling them. So you don't have a cat, why should you stay here? This place has real glass glasses, real china coffee mugs, a really fine breakfast, an honest-to-goodness shower (and not a bath tub with a shower head. The difference is, you can actually move around in a real shower.) We had a king room and it was well laid out, with a larger than usual flat screen TV. Coffee for you in the lobby, and kitty treats at the desk (I'm assuming they have doggie treats, too, but I didn't ask). If you are traveling West on I-40, Kingman, AX is a lot chaaper than either Needles, CA or Barstow, CA. I know I'll consider this next time I make my California Trip.

« BW stay in Kingman, AZ »

This BW was great! The breakfast and staff w ere the best I have ever experienced at a BW. The check-in process was smooth considering the long line. Apparently a bunch of people arrived at the same time. I would stay here again.

    « Good Stay »

The staff was customer oriented and very professional. They accommodated our needs in a courteous manner. I had a technology issue and the desk staff helped me solve it. Their patience got me through a time-sensitive issue that I desperately need to resolve because it effected the sale of our home. Thanks to the innovative way they addressed the problem, we were able to respond to the escort agent in a timely manner. Good experience at this motel.

    « A great place to relax »

We received a warm and friendly greeting from Tracy. She was also very patient and helpful to some guests that had traveled from Europe. The room was clean and the bed was pleasantly comfortable. The home cooked breakfast was a great way to start the day. There was a nice place for a meal right out the door of the hotel. This is a convenient place to stay for a Route 66 visit and to take in the three Kingman museums.

    3
« Fine for the price »

Check in was reasonably fast, room was clean, comfortable. Soap dispensers in shower were empty. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, hash browns were undercooked and we had to wait for eggs to go with the rest of the hot food.. Lots of people there for softball tournament which probably contributed, but we still had to wait 10 minutes for eggs. Average experience overall.

    « A Good Night's Sleep »

While on the way to Anaheim CA we stayed in the Best Western Plus King's Inn & Suites in Kingman AZ. The proximity to I 40 and reviews were factors in our choice of hotel. The king sized bed was very comfortable and the spaciousness of the room was great. The rooms have great bed linens, the mattress is great. The room appeared to be recently refurbished. The front desk staff was wonderful allowing us to check in a bit early. We didn't eat their breakfast as we left way too early. At check in the clerks ask if you like chocolate or other snacks and it is given to you as a welcome gift. This was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. The toilet area was a tiny bit cramped as the door practically opens onto the toilet, but still the tub/shower area next to it was adequate in size. The room had a microwave and a mini fridge. During the evening I kept hearing an interesting noise like engines revving. It wasn't very loud and completely stopped by 9 or 10 pm so our sleep was not impacted. I learned it was the regional airport. Would we stay here again? Yes!

    « Kingman gem... »

Great hotel in Kingman, AZ. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. (The bed was very comfortable.) The air conditioner was quiet (which was wonderful) and didn't interrupt our sleep. Check in was easy and the front desk staff was extremely friendly, helpful and polite. We didn't use the pool, but it looked clean and we saw many people in it the evening we checked in. The breakfast buffet was fresh. We will stay here again.

« Best Customer Service Ever! »

First, front desk staff were fantastic as soon as I arrived, ..I had traveled a long way with 4 dogs and arrived well before check in, they got me into a very nice room super fast. I Had an emergency later with one of my furbabies and Josh, Aaron and Joanna were there to help me. BEST HOTEL EVER! I would give them a 10 rating if possible! This team went far above and beyond customer service. I will be staying here again for sure. Highly recommend this gem.

    « A Good Interstate Hotel »

We have stayed at the other Best Western Hotel in Kingman and would rate that somewhat higher that King's Inn and Suites. However, This property is good and would recommend it. Easy access on and off Interstate 40. It is what it is; not great but good.

    5
    « Great stay »

One of the best places we have stayed in. It has central air conditioning so it is very quiet. The bathroom amenities are great. Instead of travel size soap and shampoo, they dispense in the shower. The best part of the stay was Stacy and Shirley at the front desk. Stacy was extremely helpful. She shared her knowledge of the area, where to eat, shop and even where you could live if so inclined. They were very personable, really cared about your stay.

    4
    « Clean and Comfortable! »

Our room was very clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable we have slept on at a hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful and check in. The only negative to our stay was breakfast. A full, hot breakfast is advertised at this hotel and Best Western is usually right on in the breakfast department. At this hotel, Saturday morning breakfast was chaotic. There was not silverware, plates, food, or hot water and a long line of people were waiting. The physical arrangement of the breakfast area is not efficient and the staff wasn't ready for the Saturday morning crowd. We ended up leaving to eat somewhere else.

    « Decent »

Pros: Front desk staff friendly and efficient. Breakfast combo of both hot and cold items very tasty. Even though the fridge in the room was considered a mini, it had a separate freezer which came in handy. Room was clean with a sofa and ( rather stiff ) sitting chair....a recliner would have been welcomed. Bed was comfy and clean and I slept like a baby. TV had Direct TV with over 50 channels and HBO. Cons: Rooms had outside entrances and only one ( outside ) elevator to the second floor. Only one ice machine available and it was overused on a very hot day. No Wi-Fi available on the day I stayed, but at least I was warned upon check-in.

« moved from San Dimas Ca to Bradenton Florida. Drove cross country. Stayed here the first night. »

The two bedroom two bathroom suite was perfect for us traveling with our daughter and her 16 month old son. We got in late, but so worth the wait. Our daughter uses a sound machine for her son to sleep by, this was perfect because we didn't have to listen to it. Also each of us having our own bathroom helped in not waking him up in the middle of the night.

« A hidden surprise in Kingman, AZ »

We were very satisfied with our stay at Best Western Plus King's Inn & Suites in Kingman, AZ. where the staff made us feel very welcome. The room was huge, comfortable, and fully equipped with all the necessities needed for our stay, and the best part was 'affordability' for all amenities. We will be planning another road trip and when we do we will make it a point to pass through Kingman and stay at the Best Western!

« Spacious room and clean »

We had a 2 Queen bed room and it is very spacious. There is even a seating area for you to just relax or gather together. They do provide a laundry area which is convenient especially for those who have been traveling long. The room is clean and no smell of any bad odor. It is very well maintained. The breakfast is as expected from other Best Western, it is buffet style. The server is very nice so don't forget to give her your morning smile.

    « OK for a night »

Location is very close to I-40. There is a Mexican restaurant next door on one side and a JB's on the other. It is an older property with outside morel type room entrances. The king room was refurbished and a good size. Pets are allowed in some rooms. Pool is outside detached from the hotel. The hot breakfast was good. The staff was efficient

    « 40th Wedding Anniversary Trip »

We arrived after a 459 mile drive so we were really pleased to find a really nice room and a big comfy bed waiting for us. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. A bonus was the swimming pool with sun loungers placed all around it and an indoor jacuzzi. We have stayed in Best Western hotels before and they have always been really nice and good value for money. This one was no exception and we really enjoyed our overnight stay. The free breakfast the next morning was very nice too with a self service buffet style cooked breakfast and also fruit, cereals and yogurts for those who prefer the healthy option.

« Ideal stop off to take in historic Route 66 »

We stopped in Kingman on-route to Palm Desert from the Grand Canyon and found a truly fascinating place, full of historic significance. Soft bed which I love and is hard to find in a hotel. Great air conditioning. Quiet room. Modern shower - very clean. The breakfast buffet looked very good but we didn't eat there. We were too full from the night before at Cracker Barrel! I am a sucker for biscuits and gravy which they had at the hotel.

If you do not get miss frowny at the front desk when you check in then you will dig this hotel. Nice big rooms with very comfortable beds. HBO on the tve channels. MWave and Fridge in each room. Coffee maker Nice pool to cool off in. Restaurant in walking distance.

« Stay at Best Western Kings Plus »

Such a nice surprise! The rooms are HUGE and extremely clean (which I am a fanatic about). The rooms appear to be recently remodeled and they are very tastefully done. No weird colors, no weird smells. Again, did I mention the rooms are huge!? And they automatically give you a microwave and refrigerator which is a treat compared to some very high end hotels that make you pay or at least ask for one to be brought to your room. The breakfast was phenomenal with delicious eggs and hashbrowns, all the cereal and pastries you could want. All of the staff was extremely friendly including the cleaning staff who always smiled and said hi when we would run into them. The pool was also extremely clean and lovely. All and all a really nice stay and would definitely stay here again!!

« A good stay away from home »

The room was very clean. The shower excellent, Clean working shower head drain worked excellent adequate amount of towels. Comfortable bed. I felt as If I was the first one in the room. The black out curtains are great the room stayed cool and comfortable.

    « Outdoor entries »

This is more of a motel than a hotel with exterior entrances to the rooms. We were not expecting this with a Best Western. Breakfast was good, nice variety, with good coffee. We accidentally left a jacket in the room and were glad that the staff called us to let us know so we could return for it before leaving the state.

    5
    « GREAT PLACE! »

You can't go wrong staying here. EXCELLENT staff! Excellent breakfast buffet and eating area. Would stay here again. Good location. I don't know what else to say, this auto survey won't let me post with less than 200 characters. I don't need that much to say great job!

« So glad we stayed here »

Excellent, from the front desk to the room to breakfast. Clean, neat, and will stay again if I am in the area. SAFE place to be. Our vehicle had broken down and we were "forced" to find a room.... Best Western has not let us down yet and this is one of the nicest we have stayed in.

« What a great job they did at this Best Western! »

I would like to say that my wife and I always prefer to stay at the Best Western motels when we travel. Why? We like this motel chain for several reasons. Let me explain... They always afford us great value for our money. Secondly, they always provide a nice delicious buffet breakfast with helpful staff if we need them(nice HOT breakfast I might add). And last BUT NOT LEAST, they provide us with a friendly staff(office), comfortable and clean rooms, WIFI, and attentive service if need be. This Best Western Plus King's Inn and Suites in KIngman, Arizona has everybody beat hands down!! Let me explain again. I requested an upstairs room which they provided (as is ALWAYS the case when we stay with the Best Western). The room was Awesome! Two queen beds; a love seat and padded lounger with a cocktail table; mini fridge and microwave; two queen beds,; big screen t.v., air conditioning(of course); a phone in the bathroom(very clean bathroom, I might add...) and a superlative shower and soaps. We were sooooo comfortable staying here! Next time we stay in Kingman, Arizona, we will most definitely stay here again, Thank you Best Western Plus King's Inn & Suites for making our stay a memorable one.

« Great Front Desk Staff »

Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by Shirley at the Front Desk. Because I needed to make a change, Emilie stepped in to assist. Both Front Desk personnel were warm, friendly, and efficient. I was given my keys in no time. Emilie even met me and my fellow travelers at the room with chocolates! Check out with Shirley was just as pleasant.

« On the Road to California »

Room was clean staff at check in was very knowledgeable of the area and gave outstanding directions on how to get to Oatman the next morning and a 50's 60's diner for supper the evening of check in. This is a great location for touring Arizona from. Close to Oatman and Laughlin. Excellent trailer parking and there was an outlet to plug our motorcycles into so we could make sure they would start in the morning so we could do some touring.

« Nice place but pricey for the area »

Little touches like real mugs and glasses in the rooms, and real dishes in the breakfast area, and a well-appointed sitting area in the lobby, are intended to distinguish this property from standard Best Westerns. However, it is still basically a travel motel which is what it was before the "upgrade" and as such, the price is not justified by the amenities.

    « Kingman AZ »

Nice updated property, very quite air conditioner only one desk lamp had an outlet, suggest both have an outlet. as for breakfast area it wasn't laid out for a good flow and not enough tables for just two people. Note very good waffle mix.

    « Super Clean Room »

Did not know when I booked a room for three that it would be 2 rooms with 4 bedroom only 1 bathroom. Although it was a smoking room that I did not know when I booked on line. They went out of their way to make sure it did ot smell of smoke.

« Good value, clean comfortable room »

Hotel staff very pleasant. Room was spacious and clean, though not fancy. The bed was comfortable, in room coffee was well equipped, and the free breakfast was quite tasty with a nice variety of items offered. I was travelling with pet birds (in travel cages) and appreciated being able to have them with me without an exorbitant extra charge in a "pet friendly" room. My only complaint was the mini frig did not work well at all.

« Good value for money ideally located for Route 66 »

Stayed two nights in the Best Western in Kingman and was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The hot breakfast in the morning was good and the hotel location for visiting this part of Arizona and travelling Route 66. (the hotel is actually on Route66). There is a swimming pool, although we did not use it but I would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to others.

« Has a nicely sized "Family Room" »

I was recently traveling with my parents and three children. Instead of having to get two separate rooms to accomodate all of us, I was able to book their larger "family room" that has two queen sized beds and two double sized beds. It was a fantastic space and we all slept very comfortably. The only down side is that I had wished the restroom was accessible to both sides. As the setup currently is, you have to walk thru the main area to reach the bathroom from the side where the double beds are located. Very clean, friendly staff and a decent breakfast. Highly recommend.

    5
    « Excellent Service »

Gave excellent recommendation for dinner. Most of all, they had us registered for a "smoking" designated room and we'd requested "non-smoking" designation. No "non-smoking" rooms were available so they gave us a ground floor "handicapped" designated room which was more than adequate -- much roomier -- much more counter space. It worked out beautifully and better than a standard room. We were very pleased.

The room was large and clean. Our room had two queen beds, sofa, chair, coffee table, desk, fridge, and microwave. Everything was in working order. The hotel staff were very nice (thanks, Emilie!). The breakfast was very good; the hot food was actually hot (we stayed at some hotels where the hot food was not hot). We would definitely stay there again.

We were pleasantly surprised regarding the comfort and quality of the hotel. We would definitely recommend it and plan on returning to this hotel. The staff members were very helpful and friendly. We must compliment the hotel on the breakfast as well. They had multiple choices for a hot breakfast...from sausage/bacon and eggs, biscuits and gravy or make it yourself Belgium waffles. They also offered fresh fruit choices, 3 cereals, yogurt and !multiple Danish choices...very well thought out and prepared along with warm, inviting and friendly staff

« Best Pet Friendly Hotel Ever! »

We traveled from Florida to Nevada and stayed at several pet friendly hotels. By far, this Best Western Plus King's Inn & Suites was superior in every way. The rooms were beautiful and clean, the staff is fantastic (they even gave my dog and cat treats), they have a nice lawn in front where you can take your dog to do their "business" and it is reasonably priced. Plus the location is very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel. Thanks, Best Western!

« Great Hotel and wonderful People working hard there. »

We chose the Hotel for a staying place for our family reunion this year. The Hotel is very well kept and real clean. Rooms are attended very well and friendly employees . They have a complete hot Breakfast each morning with a very good choice. Breakfast room is a very clean and comfortable eating area looking out. We came from Kentucky, California and Nevada to meet here where we have family living for the reunion.

« Clean,Friendly, all around great place to stay. »

Very friendly staff, clean rooms. I stayed here 3 nights while working in Kingman and I can't be more pleased with my experience. Rooms are spacious and clean. The bathroom was a little small but clean. Staff went out of there way to make sure everything was to my liking. I travel 40 weeks out of the year and this is one hotel I will return to. They take pride in there hotel. I left to early for breakfast but just ask and they give grab bags. Banana, yogurt, nature bar, orange, and a water. Place seemed safe and quiet for it to be booked up every night. I had no trouble with noise. You could somewhat hear the trains but nothing that would ruin your sleep. Beds were comfortable and tv were flat screens. They have an elevator if needed to get to second floor or stairs. Check in and out were a breeze. I really think that if your looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay this place is great. it is also within 10 minute drive from all the good food.

My wife and I selected Best Western Plus Kings Inn & Suites in Kingman, AZ, for convenience, price and past experience with Best Western Plus. The accommodations were adequate with nice sitting area and comfortable bed. Our breakfast was outstanding and had two hostesses. The selection went beyond the normal with a nice selection of pastries.

    « Great customer service »

This is a strange review as I did not actually stay here. Hotel.com managed to mess up my booking by booking a smoking room and they had no non smoking rooms left. Aaron who was in reception was a star he helped me cancel the booking using their telephone, and found me a room in another hotel. So if that they way they help non guests I can only imagine how good they are if you actually stay. Thanks Aaron you were a star.

« Food value and very clean »

We were a bit sceptical as the rooms access was from the outside but the staff member we dealt with let us see the room before even asking to see the credit card used to book the room. It was not a luxurious room but it was spacious, neat and very clean. The bathroom was spotless and the shower one of the best we've come across on our Route 66 journey. Breakfast was basic but served on a proper crockery and real stainless steel cutlery - we felt valued customers while we were there.

    « Great stay! »

The staff was great, the room was perfect for my needs, and the maps and info in the room helped me find good places to eat and see. They offered rags to clean my m/c and picked them up the next morning.

« Good place to stay in Kingman »

The room was very comfortable with two double beds. Huge flat TV. Great breakfast and the staff was excellent, great front desk. We were very lucky because Laughlin was helding a Harley Davidson meeting and lots of motorcycle (huge!) were also in Kingman. And a Corvete meeting nearby. Lots of Corvete in the parking lot.

« Great place to stay on the way to the Canyon »

The staff here was super friendly and the breakfast was above and beyond. I cannot say enough good things about the stay here and as a bonus there are restaurants within walking distance so you after a long day of driving you are able to stretch your legs with a little walk...also pet friendly :)

« consistently top of the line »

the staff, service, food are top notch every time I've stayed. which is several times over the last few years. large rooms that open to the outside so you don't feel cramped in. 1/4 mile off I-40. truck parking.

    « Kingman King's Inn »

Overall the hotel was convenient to Interstate-40, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was satisfactory and similar to other hotel chains. The facilities were in excellent shape. My only issue was with one counter person(Night) was a bit of a problem. Basically, he did not know if he had stuff or not, seem a bit frustrated to be at work or even dealing with folks. Everyone else was fine, the cleaning folks were very polite and nice.

« Motel style with Hotel upgrades! »

This property is a motel style- doors open to the outdoors rather than a Hotel. You have to walk outside to go to breakfast or get ice, and there is no elevator. But the room had some great upgrades! The big walk in shower is newly tiled with a rainshower head and a slider window that lets in a lot of light- if you are sleeping in, be sure to close the bathroom door when going to bed! There is a big wooden armoire for clothing/luggage storage, as well as a TV cabinet with microwave and frig and coffee maker. The granite sink and countertop were well lit. As with most hotels, there is no overhead lighting, and the lamps were dim. It has a larger flat screen Samsung TV, with good channel choices. The room itself was not very quiet- it's on a busy street, and near an airport, so planes, sirens, traffic, and lots of running up and down the metal stairways from a large group of children, but it wasn't so bad, we could sleep. The king bed was very comfy, lots of pillows, nice linens, and a Beauty rest mattress. Emilie at the front desk was very helpful, but I was surprised that as a tax-exempt government traveller, on government business, I was going to be charged room taxes anyway- my company made the reservations, and those taxes put me over per diem rates, which required extra paperwork/approval upon my return to the office. That policy should be disclosed. I was told there was a form I could google and have my supervisor sign, but I was not travelling with my computer, printer, or my supervisor, so that didn't help. They didn't have the form, and wouldn't honor my tax-exempt status. There was a full breakfast buffet, which was pretty good, although it had been picked over pretty well by 8 am. Check-in, check out, except for the tax exempt issue, was easy. I would stay somewhere else, just to avoid going over per diem rates with the AZ taxes.

    « A gem for wheelchair users »

Wonderful place to stay especially those requiring wheelchair accessibility. Room had a great layout and furnishings. Well designed including low reach clothes hanging space and hair drier. Only hiccup was the lack of a raised toilet, but we always carry a bolster seat when traveling by car. Front Desk acted concerned and was going to notify manager. Nice substantial breakfast included with long enough hours to satisfy late sleepers like myself. Impressive and friendly Front Desk personnel -- came around desk so I didn't need to reach up over raised desk counter. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

    « Arizona Route 66 Fun Run May 2016 »

Accidentally booked a smoking room. Called the front desk and Emilie made a note to see if a room switch could be done to accommodate us, but the hotel was fully booked for the annual Arizona route 66 fun run. We arrived about an hour later and she was all smiles. She said that a room and just been cancelled minutes before and she was able to put us into a non-smoking room. We experienced a warm friendly staff and enjoyed our stay immensely. Great hot breakfast. Emily was super and I think the manager should give her a raise.

    « Great Visit »

Everything from the check-in to the buffet breakfast before I left, was great. When checking in, I had asked about a gym and the lady was nice to find me room a few doors down. Even when returning to my room the next morning with my breakfast in hand, one of the ladies that crossed my path had offered to open my hotel room door. Very thoughtful! I will definitely be back.

« Good Hotel for this area »

The room itself was pretty simple, amenities are dated, but it did have a nice size seating area, and they serve free breakfast daily. They also provide a coffee maker/coffee in room, which some hotels now charge for. Can be noisy in the morning, as the parking lot is right outside the rooms, and housekeeping carts are loud.

« Really nice hotel with large rooms and reasonable pricing »

We were three people and made a stop in Kingman on our way from Pismo Beach to Grand Canyon. The hotel is easy to find and has a lot of free parking spaces. The service at the front desk was good and the staff was friendly. Our room (bottom floor in the left wing if you stand outside facing the reception desk) was very large with two comfortable beds (Queen size+) and we had plenty of room for all of our belongings. Internet worked very well and was quite fast and the bathroom was separated from the basin which is a good idea when you are three people in the room. The only thing that were not so good is that there were a slight odor of mold in the room. The breakfast were OK considering it was included in the price but if you want a larger range/variety there is a diner close by that serves breakfast as well.

    5
« Nice place to stay »

Stayed 1 night. Room was clean, bed was comfy, breakfast was good. No complaints. The hotel is right next to the train tracks but the trains did not blow its horn, so it really wasn't an issue. I'd stay here again, if I found myself in the Kingman area again.

    « Exceptional Customer Focus! »

This Best Western was a pretty standard Best Western, but we were quite impressed by the exceptional customer service we received here. The staff was very friendly, and while we lounged at the nice outdoor pool, the manager came by with waters for us. Comfortable room and good breakfast. We had dinner at the Oyster restaurant right next door, combination Italian and Mexican. We had Mexican, which was very good. No noise issues, everything was quiet.

    « Great Hotel »

Had a one night stop over on our way to L.A. Located with in walking distance to several restaurants and a liquor store. The room we had was a suite with two queen beds and a pull out sofa bed. Room was very big and very clean. As was the lobby, the grounds and the parking lot. This hotel is on the older side but has been updated and well maintained. The breakfast was better then most hotels, ie Hampton Inn and Holiday Inn Express. More choices and they actually had real plates, glasses and silverware. The cost of the room was very good...$72.00 a night !

    « Great Stay! »

We were looking for a place to stay about half-way between Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. Nice, clean rooms and a full breakfast make this an ideal choice, especially for the price. What really impressed was the responsive service. The hair dryer broke, basically disintegrated, when I turn it on in the morning. So, we went to breakfast. When we returned, the staff had already installed a new dryer. Now that's service you won't find, even at many higher-end motels. This is a well-run establishment.

    « Decent motel »

Decent place - pet friendly - good facilities - good internet -rooms moderate size but ok -single sink bathroom. Strikes me as an older motel but upgraded recently. It is on a fairly busy street but still quiet. Great Mexican restaurant next door that gives 10% discount to King's Inn & Suites patrons.

    « Great Weekend Getaway »

This was one of the best motel rooms we have ever had! It was so spacious and clean! We would love to go back there and spend more than a weekend! The beds are so comfortable. After sleeping on most motel beds, I wake up with a back ache, but not on this one! The furniture and décor are so beautiful.

    4
    « Very Clean »

It looks better in their pictures than it does in person. The room I had is very small, but for one person it is plenty. The color scheme is a bit dated, but they are very particular about cleanliness. Everything was sanitized to the highest level. It is not often that an older place like this takes that much attention to detail and hygiene. That might be why it is a little more expensive than other hotels that are the same size and level of quality, but it is worth the price to stay healthy. The Wi-Fi is also fast and free! The staff was very friendly and accommodating as well.

    3
« Kind of old decor »

The ladies at the front desk were really awesome very helpful. The rooms on the other hand were pretty old needs a little updating... Its not really a BW Plus. It was ok for a one night stop.... There was no real place to walk your pet except along the busy street, a very small patch of grass near the stairs that every dog uses.... The breakfast was good we only had oatmeal and toast I guess from what I read someone actually comes in and cooks.... I looked good but very heavy... Did not hear any train noise and we did sleep very good.

« Train Runs All Night »

We stayed here twice. Very clean hotel. However, the second time we were in back....no sleep due to the train. I also was disappointed that the desk clerk didn't realize that we had stayed here two and half weeks before. He was the same person who checked me in the first time. Breakfast needs more healthy alternatives.

« Should not be a BW Plus! »

This motel is not nearly nice enough to have the Best Western Plus designation! We have stayed at a lot of the Plus properties and they were all really nice! This motel was alright and the price is fine, but it is pretty run down. We only stayed one night, but I don't think we will stay here again.

« Great place to stay with family »

I am so glad we chose this hotel to stay at during our visit with family. It was clean, comfortable and conveniently located only one exit away (1 mile down the highway) from my Aunt & Uncle's home. I felt safe being there with just myself and my two kids. Would definitely stay there again. Just wish the beds were a little softer and that the tv remote was easier to use. Other than that great hotel!

« Don't let the exterior fool you »

The exterior looked a bit shabby, but the room was clean, staff was professional and efficient, and the beds were extremely comfortable. There was some noise from the upstairs room around 4:00 am, but otherwise it was a nice place to stay.

« One night on route to NM. »

We arrived late due to road closures, person at front desk was nice checked us in quickly. Are room was clean and bed was comfy, shower is very nice. Breakfast was ok but the area was crowded and the coffee was not very good. Coffee in room was very good. Check out was easy and quick, I just think it is over priced for a motel with out door corridors however, this makes loading and unloading bags much easer. very easy

    « Won't stay here again »

Hotel is at best average. I've stayed in this hotel many times over the last 20+ years however, I will not do so again. Front desk was clerk was rude, I'm a Platinum Member with Best Western and this is by far the worst service I've ever received.

    « Wouldn't stay again »

After a very long day, I arrived in Kingman with a reservation for this property. It was dark and I was initially concerned to see 2 police vehicles sitting in front of the hotel. I did not see the officers & do not know why there were there. We walked into the lobby to check in & the desk clerk was on the phone. Initially, I thought it was a personal call but it became clear after a few minutes that he was making a reservation. We continued to wait, the line behind us continued to grow. One man actually gave up & left. Although the reservation was completed, the clerk did not end the conversation but continued to listen to the customer on the other end. Finally, a woman behind us in line asked if he had even helped us yet. I responded that he had not. She told him he needed to get off the phone & he snapped at her that he was making a reservation. Yet he had already made the reservation a while back. She told him he should call someone else to help us & he replied that the other clerk was on break. We waited at least 25 minutes before he got off the phone & helped us. When we got to our room, it seemed to look ok. After getting ready for bed, we realized the train track was running just behind the rooms so we got to hear the trains going by which was not great. There was also a lot of noise on the roof even though we were on the top floor of the 2. It sounded like someone was walking around up there & there were loud popping noises. The next day when we were checking out, the clerk did ask how our stay was & I explained all of the above information. She did apologize & said we should have called the desk & could have been moved to another room. However, after the long day & waiting in line for approx 30 minutes to check in, I was too tired to deal with the guy at the front desk. There was also hair in the shower. Yuk! Honestly, I would not stay there again if only because of the proximity of the train tracks.

    « Enjoyed our stay »

During our recent road trip we stayed here based on the ratings and prices we saw on Trip advisor. We had no reservation and rooms were available. The front desk staff were very friendly and took good care of us. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast next morning was included and was really good. They had a wide variety of food and the staff taking care of the breakfast area were really nice. The location was nice - not in a real busy area but close restaurants and things to do and see. Very enjoyable stay.

« Great place to stay »

We'd stayed at another hotel across the street as we thought since this was near the train tracks it would be noisy. We only heard one train and no whistles. The room was so nicely furnished and clean. Every one of the staff we talked to were so friendly and asked if we needed anything. The breakfast was so nice and servers were so friendly and kept foods hot and restocked well. We'll definitely stay next time we're in town.

    « Nice surprise »

We were on our way to Phoenix and made this our first stop on our trip. Everyone of the staff we encountered at this hotel were all respectful and helpful. What really surprised me about the hotel was the recycling that it was doing, I have not seen this at any other hotel that we have stayed at. I would recommend this hotel to all.

« Parking lot like glass »

Nice stop over, hotel rooms open to outside so neat way to socialize w other guests, can tell they have car cruisers in summer, parking lot was spotless for classic cars, VERY slippery though if you walk w wet feet from pool. Lots of route 66 items. Geocaching right around. Breakfast used real tableware, nice touch. Crowded seating area. Busy and hopping. Liked the hashbrowns. Bed was great, son really thought shower w bench seat was cool. It was neat. And they recycle.

« Great Staff and Rooms »

Staff genuinely friendly and very efficient. Room was impeccable, well appointed, updated and everything worked. A great Mexican restaurant next door in a connecting building. There are trains that pass a few hundred yard behind that may be a bother for some but we did not find it a problem with the window shut. Would be a great base for exploring the area or just for a quick stop passing through.

    « Fantastic »

Listed are the things I liked best: *Large counter for multiple persons to use at the same time *beautiful wood framed mirror *Hairdryer with a lot of wattage to dry hair quicker than most hotels *ceramic coffee mugs in the room rather than styrofoam *very clean coffee maker - most have water residue etc *Shower (humid) area separated by a door to counter/ prep area *New or very clean carpet and upholstery chair *Exceptionally white, fresh smelling bed linens *Great mattress on our King bed *Hot water instantly in the sink n shower even early in the morning *Lobby n Breakfast area very clean *Breakfast was very nice. Eggs n potatoes were HOT! It is obvious that the management works hard to make this facility upscale. It appears that it was an older building that was renovated. Good job Best Western management and staff!! A+

This is one of our favorites! It is Pet Friendly, clean, and it is very comfortable. Bed was great. Slept like a baby! The room was clean and they offer glass cups and glasses, which is a plus in my book. There is a large sitting area with couch and large chair along with a desk and desk chair. They have coffee maker, hair dryer, refrigerator and a microwave. They have a large screen television and offer a great channel lineup!

« A poor night's sleep at an excellent establishment »

Please see my previous review for detailed information. It has not changed since my last visit. This place is an excellent value. When I arrived at the hotel at 11PM, I was exhausted. The drapes were open; I collapsed in bed and promptly fell asleep despite the bright lights in the parking lot shining through the window. At 3AM, I awoke from the bright lights. I looked for the draw strings for the curtains that would filter out the light. Despite my best efforts, I could not find the curtains, which were hidden behind the Valence. I tried to get back to sleep, but could not. I imagined that the room did not have heavy curtains since I did not see them. Finally, at 4AM, I went to the front desk. The clerk immediately came to the room. After looking for about 30 seconds, he found the plastic pull device for the heavy curtain. There was no drawstring. The clerk told me that the problem I had is not new. Other previous customers had the same problem I experienced. What I would like to know is if management is aware that a customer could have a problem, why not take steps that will prevent the situation from recurring? In this instance, all the maid has to do is close the heavy curtains when the room is made up. It was my own fault that I had a poor night's sleep.

By far, this is the best breakfast I have had at a Best Western. Full line of main course items. Nice stop for a family with a pet. Near the freeway and restaurants. Pet friendly & good spot to take dog on his "walk." Near restaurants. Good available parking.

« This Best Western is the BEST! »

We had reserved a pet room as we were traveling with our dogs. When we opened the door to our room we were so surprised how clean and well furnished it was. The beds were comfortable, there were real glasses instead of paper cups, real coffee mugs instead of styrofoam cups, and the toiletries were better than most hotels I've stayed at. If you are looking for a great place to stay in Kingman, I highly recommend the Best Western PLUS King's Inn & Suites. The staff is amazing. They made us feel right at home from the moment we checked in.

« On our way to NC »

The Jr 2 queen suite was very pretty and spacious. Nice decor. The only 3 problems was that the A.C . too loud, the showerhead must have been a low flow because it wasn't a strong flow and even though I rinsed off after soaping, felt like I still had sopa and shampoo on and couldn't park in front of our room bcuz of having the handicap parking even though the guy at the front desk said we could park in front of our room. Suggestions: Overhead lighting on each bed. Ceiling fan would be very helpful because since the ac is too loud the fan will circulate the air so the ac doesn't kick in so much drowning out conversation or tv. Very good neighborhood.

    5
« Great place to stay even for a few nights! »

We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are much larger than most. (thus BW Plus) The beds, for us, were very comfortable. The morning breakfast was beyond what we had expected. Fresh fruit, yogurt, donuts, eggs, bacon & sausage, waffles, biscuits and gravy, etc. All employees were extremely helpful. There are two floors in this hotel with an elevator.

We chose this hotel from the exterior appearance and reputation from experience in other states. This is an excellent facility - excellent recommendation for a restaurant nearby that was truly excellent. Staff responsive and very helpful.

    « Very good hotel »

Stayed here en route from Death Valley to Phoenix and Sedona. Didn't realise it was on Route 66. Excellent rooms and very good laundry with drying which was nice after lots of travelling. Average breakfast but enough. Good restaurants nearby.

« Great Hotel - train and truck noise a BIG problem »

The hotel room was amazing, really large room with 2 queen beds, and a lounge area with a settee we were thrilled, until we came to go bed. There is a railway line that runs at the rear of the hotel and just for good measure there was a 24 hour truck park just at the side of our room. We were constantly awake during the night with the noise and vibrations from the vehicles. We complained to the staff at check out but all they did was apologize. The breakfast was really nice, with a lovely dining room, great food and staff. It is such a shame that the noise levels were so bad we will not be returning

    « Overnight »

It was a place to stop half way on our way home. Nice, clean hotel the room had plenty of room. Breakfast was hot and good. No complaints. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends. It was centrally located. right off the freeway. Walking distance to a resturant

« Nicest hotel during our whole trip. »

This stay was by far the best of all the hotels we stayed in on our long trip. From the friendly staff to the spacious family suite, comfortable beds, and the nicest bathroom of all. The layout of the family suite was perfect, with a refrigerator, microwave, and excellent table top space. My favorite was the bathroom with the rainfall shower head and beautiful ceramic tile work along with lots of counter top space for toiletries. It reminded me of a high dollar Spa experience for a fraction of the price. I will make sure we stay here again on future trips!

    « Everything worked well »

Pretty straight forward property. Not a lot of frills but everything worked well. New TV and laundry center were highlights. The shower is an attractive modern walk in style (no tub). The water in Kingman (or maybe the water treatment) makes rinsing difficult and the shower had very little water pressure but probably appropriate for the desert.

    « A Super Bowl treat »

After 5 hours on the road on Super Bowl Sunday, we arrived just after that game had started. The check-in was quick and we were set up with all the requirements to watch either in our room or the office reception area. The facilities were fully operational, clean and easy to use. Breakfast, the following morning was a pleasant and fulfilling send off.

« Good bargin... quiet and very clean »

While the motel is a little older it is kept in tip top condition. There are no train noises to wake you and all the bed linins and towels are up to date. A nice quite place that is reasonable priced. Excellent free breakfast

« Royal Treatment at King's Best Western »

We truly felt welcomed by the friendly personal staff when we arrived and again at breakfast before we left. Our room was perfect with a comfortable sitting area for sharing a pizza and TV that was separate from the beds. Best, though, was the kindness of the staff in finding my toiletries bag just after we left, calling me, and agreeing to ship overnight to my next destination. Over and above the call of duty, and much appreciated!

« Friendliest Best Western ever »

What a great experience! Not only was our room clean, quiet and comfortable (bed, furnishings, etc.) but the free breakfast was outstanding. And I don't mean just the plethora of hot food options, which were legion and very good quality. What really made it stand out for us was one exceptional person on the staff. Yolanda. She is probably the friendliest breakfast staff I have ever encountered, anywhere. She made it a point to personally greet each guest because, in her (approximate) words, she wanted to "send everyone off for a great day". We frequently drive through Kingman on our way to and from Southern California and will from this time on make it a point to stay here at the BW King's Inn and Suites. Although Yolanda stood out I have to say that every single employee that we encountered (even the man emptying the trash in the parking lot) was unfailingly friendly and helpful. I am sure that the management of this hotel property is excellent as well; employees like this are obviously highly valued and trained for excellent service. This outstanding service does not happen by accident. Please commend Yolanda for us.

    « Excellent Stay.. »

After traveling all day, this motel was a great reprieve. I really enjoyed the peppiness of the front desk staff and the ability for him to check me in, in a timely matter. The room was very nice, clean and the bed was super comfortable. It was quiet and the room actually has curtains that close and make the room extremely dark, until you decide to see light.. As much as I travel, I find that a rarity. Breakfast was fresh and hot with very good taste. Would definitely stay here again, if ever passing through. There is an excellent Mexican/Seafood restaurant next door which serves amazing Margaritas and fantastic food. My only concern about this motel is the parking lot. As the property is very neatly kept, the parking lot appears it has an epoxy finish on it, without the sand being added. Therefore, when it is wet, it is super slick and will allow you to slide and fall. Just be careful if there is any moisture when entering or exiting your car or just plain walking on it.

« Clean, good value hotel »

We got this by bidding on Priceline ($67. plus tax) which was considerably below the publish rate. Large room, 2 queen beds with microwave and refrig. Breakfast was eggs, bacon, biscuits, gravy, and hash browns. Also you could make your own waffles. The orange juice was a little on the "thin" side but all in all it was a very fine breakfast.

    4
« Clean rooms and friendly staff »

It was great to have a large room with 2 beds and a couch. Room was clean. After we turned the t.v off at night we heard an annoying tapping in the ceiling. It would stop then start again. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered a lot of choices. We preferred the bacon over the sausage.

    4
« spacious rooms, clean, basic, just what you would expect »

no thrills with this motel but you get what you pay for, the room is clean, shower was a decent size. staff were friendly, there is a pool that looks okay but it was raining so we didnt venture out after going for a meal at jbs

    « Clean, convenient »

We stayed one night in Kingman. This motel was a couple of blocks off of the freeway in a district with a lot of other motels. In fact, the other Best Western we were considering was right across the street. So it is convenient for people looking for a stop-over on a long drive on 40. It is also next door to a Sonic. So we took advantage of the location and grabbed a late-night dessert. The room was clean and had a small sitting area with a couch, coffee table and chair. So it was a comfortable spot for visiting or playing cards for our family. It also had a small refrigerator and microwave. The beds were very comfortable. The motel was not full. But if we did have neighbors, we didn't hear them. The breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, hash browns, biscuits, gravy, fruit, waffles, oatmeal, cold cereal, pastries, toast, yogurt, juice, tea, and coffee. The quality of the food was fine for a free, serve-yourself breakfast.

    4
    « Kingman AZ »

It was a good location, clean room. Fridge is on the small side. You can hear trains, but it bothered my husband more than myself. We would stay here again if in Kingman. It is getting very hard to find smoking rooms anywhere and this was one of the best we stayed in.

    5
    « Good Value & Pleasant Accomodations »

I travel the I-40 route frequently, when laying over in the Kingman area I always choose the Kings Inn. For the value the accommodations are delightful, updated years ago though maintained very well. Overall facility is kept clean, reservation details have always been correct. No long hallways, doors open to the outside for ease of access to your vehicle. I enjoy their breakfast offering, decent food, china tableware, newspaper and good coffee. I recommend the Best Western Kings Inns in Kingman, AZ

    5
« If you're in Kingman or need a stop heading to the Grand Canyon this is a good spot to do so. »

The hotel is ideally located near the main hwy and located on historic route 66 which is awesome! The hotel has great customer service and the rooms are clean & nice looking considering it's a hotel in a small town. The free breakfast is one of the best i've seen! Enjoy Arizona!

    « passing through »

good value for money , large rooms with sofa ,had a great bed , set back from road so nice and quiet and with a number of food outlets within walking distance and liquor store right across the road.Had three rooms for the family and would definitely stay there again.

« a great stopover en route to LA »

stayed in the family suite and really appreciated all the space - plenty of towels and mugs and individual coffee packets - they are ready for a large family to actually stay in the family suite. Exterior entry wasn't what I expected but it was fine - just a little drafty around the doorway.

    5
    « Excellent Visit »

If you find yourself traveling Hwy 40 through Kingman, this is a great place to stay. Great Room, great staff, wonderful on site Resturant, and good onsite breakfast since they served bacon instead of sausage as the others we stayed in on this trip, great beds and very comfortable all around. A repeat visit will be in our future.

    « Lovely room/suite. Dog friendly!! »

We love this place - nice big clean rooms with a couch, chair, frig, and micro. Very dog friendly, easy check in - and very comfortable beds. External entry but still felt safe. The complimentary breakfast was definitely a cut above other typical ones. Whenever we are in Kingman - we will stay here!!

    2
    « Don't stay here!! Must read* »

Employees aren't trained to give information before reservation are made.... I called to ask for a non-smoking room because this was the only room popping up on their mobile siye and i also wanted use my reward points from staying with Best Western so many times. (I stay at Best Western in Cottonwood Az every week and love the service there... kudos Cottonwood BW Team!!) I was assured that I could book the room and they/Best Western employees would make the adjustments after the reservation for non-smoking room and points. So I booked the room and got the shaft on the smoking room and paid $145 and can't use my points!! (Again I called before making the reservation to make sure my request was ok) I would never stay at the Kingman King Inn Suite again after talking to Timothy the general manager with no resolution. I personally feel that the lack of training comes from the leader Timothy and now understand that to fix anything the location it needs to start there with the leadership!! Good luck if you take your changes staying here and getting the shaft like I did... hope you learn from my dealing with them. Happy travels!! :))

« Great place to get away »

Centrally located from many great attractions, right off of HWY 40 on the infamous Route 66 breakfast is served every morning! Great place to visit with family for leisure time. The Grand Canyon is about an hour away and well worth the drive. Oatman is another city less than an hour away that offers lots of Route 66 history. You will not be disappointed while visiting this city and staying in this hotel!!!

    « Awesome! »

After traveling for 10 days this hotel was a welcome experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and roomy. Everything worked well and was on a very clean property. Everyone at the hotel was very nice and friendly. The hotel was in a great location on Route 66 and near food sources.

    4
« Excellent staff and service »

Our family stopped here for an overnight on a long trip over the holidays. The staff was GREAT! Very helpful, professional, and kind -- from the desk staff at night to the friendly breakfast room staff. And the breakfast was great!

« I stay here everytime I have to drive through Kingman. »

Clean and pet-friendly location. The only problem was the water pressure the last time I was there. I don't know if it was just the room or maybe too many people were showering in the hotel but it was a trickle. I'm pretty good at quick showers but it took me about 15 minutes just to wash and rinse my hair. I've stayed here a few times before and don't remember having the same problem. I will stay here again as it's one of the best pet-friendly spots in Kingman and I drive through about twice a year.

    4
    « Route 66 and friendly »

Not planned, but needed a room. Check in staff very professional, great rate. Building dated, but room was clean, bed linen and towels good. Standard breakfast buffet above average, staff kept it fresh and hot. Desk staff helpful with suggestions and direction at check out. Stop in Oatman over the pass is a must do. Seligman if going the other way.

    4
    « Comfortable beds »

The room was very spacious. The beds were comfortable, I had a great night's sleep. If only the bathroom was a bit bigger, it was a tight squeeze and I am a slender person. In order to keep the door open I had to wedge the trash can between the door and the toilet. Check-in was a delight, the desk clerks were delightful.

    4
« Quiet enough for our dogs to sleep great!! »

Christmas Day was busy and noisy until we got here and checked in. Check-in was quick and very friendly. Parking was right next to our room. The room was quiet, until the neighbors showered, but no car doors or voices. Our room was average sized and it is obvious that it has been recently remodeled, it smelled good, and the bed was great!! Wi-Fi was easy and quick. We loved the optional seating, there were 2 different chairs. Breakfast was amazing for a hotel buffet, a lot of fresh choices. Our dogs loved the big grassy area, and the room was quiet enough that there was no barking :) We would definitely stay here again!!

    « Vegas bound »

Very clean, very nice hotel/motel. Large room with separate area for relaxing including a cozy chair and sofa bed great as I HATE to watch tv in bed. Price a little high but then everything in Kingman is high.

    « Great nights sleep »

Spent a week and found it very quiet - but best of all - It usually takes me a day or so to get use to a new mattress - slept like a baby every night. Staff was super nice and never had a problem finding someplace eat. would recommend it sure.

« It's alright but high cost for the value »

Good things: really nice breakfast and good breakfast staff. Mediocre things: High price compared to other places. We had a pet with us when we booked the online system failed to say it had to be a "handicap room." Okay fine, I booked because it said "pet friendly." In contrast, there are no pets allowed in the lobby and the front desk rep said pets are only allowed in the handicap rooms. Also, the front desk guy wasn't welcoming or interested. Can't blame it on his youth, he was younger but we stayed at a comparable hotel in ABQ during the trip staffed by younger front desk guys who were the complete opposite and really nice. The handicap room had basic, older furnishings. Overall, seemed clean but I removed one towel because it was pretty obvious someone had used it to dry his/her hands. That was the only really negative thing besides the pet attitude. Felt like the nice breakfast didn't make up for the higher price.

    5
« Great Stay in Kingman, AZ »

If you're in Kingman this is the best place to stay. They hotel is neat and clean and the staff are marvelous. There are a lot of other choices because of Route 66, but this is where you want to be for a good night's sleep and a hearty breakfast in the morning.

« Great place to say »

All over very satisfied, all the staff very nice and respectful, and helpful. Breakfast, very good. Room clean, beds comfortable. and pet friendly. Nice area for the dogs. Easy acess back on the interstate, When we are traveling that way again, we will most definitely stay there again.

« One of the best. »

I travel through Kingman a lot and have stayed in most of the hotels offered. This property is the one I always come back to stay. Great value for the price. Friendly staff and great attitudes make all the different. There are only stairs to the second level which is the only con. The are very clean, the bed id very comfortable, and I love the shower. In all a great place. .

    « Comfortable for a Night »

Our room was clean and comfortable for a night. Breakfast a bit better than average, and the motel staff were helpful. If internet is was poor but free. There is an active train track behind the hotel but it didn't keep us up.

    5
    « Excellent Lodgings »

My husband and I were very happy with our room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was great. Not at at all like the other Best Western's that we stayed at. We even notice that they saw that some of the guest had arrived late for breakfast and they stayed open to accommodate them.

    5
    « Good night's sleep »

We planned this trip to go Jeep in in the mountains south of Kingman and this was our home base for the three nights. The rooms are huge, the beds are very comfortable, the staff is great, the parking we were worried about but they have plenty and it works for trucks and trailers. The rooms are very well maintained and clean. I only wish they had warm comfortors on the beds. It was wet and cold outside during our stay.

    5
« Great stopover - clean and good facilities »

Used this as a stopover location between Las Vegas and Grand Canyon and was really impressed. Very pleasant staff and very clean and modern throughout. Our room was very big with a comfortable bed and good bathroom facilities. Provided breakfast was very good as well. Generally I'd say that if you need a functional and pleasant hotel this is definitely one to go for.

    4
« Good place to stay »

I like this Best Western. The staff was very nice. Check in was fast. Breakfast was very good (except the hash browns). Had a two bed suite and I appreciated the extra room after a long day on the road. Nice decor. I would have given this hotel 5 stars if the bed had been comfortable but they both were so hard we woke up with sore backs. If you like hard beds this is the place. Glad that they allow pets.

    « Very Nice Hotel »

Hotel and room were very clean and bed was very cumfortable with lots of nice pillows. The staff was professional and helpful. Breakfast was not fancy, but very good. The King Bed room was a little small, but nicely furnished.

« Nice Hotel with good location »

We enjoyed our stay: The price was reasonable, the room was clean, bed was comfortable, the breakfast was very good, location was convenient, and staff was friendly. We were traveling from the Grand Canyon to Las Vegas and decided to check out the Route 66 town of Kingsman. The room was just what we were looking for.

    « Kingman Best Western - A good place »

As a traveler I look for comfy beds and pillows -although I do travel with my own pillow as well. I look for outlets that I don't have to move furniture or fight with to get my electronics plugged in. This property has provided open, usable outlets in many places. Breakfast - something for everyone and all yummy. plenty of room to sit and enjoy as well. Clean rooms, clean ice machines, professional staff, helpful as well. All the reasons i would recommend this property for a stay. Great job!

« Between and three and a four »

Our room at BW King's Inn in Kingman was very clean, had a microwave and mini fridge. The hotel offered a hot breakfast, but it was only so-so in the taste department. The staff was friendly and helpful. My disappointment was that instead of getting the king room we requested, we were given an ADA room with two queens, but that may have been because we wanted a ground floor room. The shower and toilet were in the same room with no separation between the two so the floor was always damp. I would probably stay here again but definitely not in an ADA room (unless I need it by then!).

« Back From Colorado Springs »

Great refuge after hell week- that is, a tax audit on one of my tax clients in Colorado. After a 900 mile drive it was really nice to check in, kick back and relax. The people at the front desk were friendly and courteous, the room was "spick and span," and I got a chance to watch some movies on the TV. Great stay!

    5
« Good location and ideal stopover »

Clean and large room with comfy bed plus settee and chair. Room could do with improved lighting has it was quite dark but that was our only complaint. Adequate free breakfast included and pool with jacuzzi. Plenty of parking and friendly staff, made this an ideal stopover on way to grand canyon.

« Blast to the 60s Style Motel on Route 66 »

Large older motel - the kind where you park in front of your room. Roomy and nice decor. Microwave and refrigerator in the room. Coin laundry on premises. Excellent breakfast room with nice selection for a great meal in the morning. All for $65.00 on Priceline! Wow!

    4
    « Huge room »

There is only one upper floor so not too far to carry your case. Our room was massive with a separate lounge area. A big plus was real cups and glasses! Two huge comfy beds and plumpy pillows. There is no bar or restaurant, so our group had pizza and beer by the pool. There is a small off licence over the way. The only real beef about The room is that the air con was noisy. Breakfast let this hotel down. It is taken in a very small area off the reception, and we had to clear our own tables. There were only a few proper mugs and fresh fruit was a bit scarce. The cooked breakfast looked decidedly overlooked. So in short lovely rooms but don't bother with the breakfast!

    « great motel »

great rooms and suites -----stayed in both on several occasions and you get quite a bit for your money----however on its busy days its best to eat breakfast early or wait for the food to be replenish with always by a short number of staff.

« Great Showers. Good Hotel. Could use some improvements. »

I would give this a 3 1/2 circles if i could but i could not choose a 1/2 circle. The hotel is good. The rooms are decent a bit on the small side though. The shower was great! I love showers better than tubs and was very happy with the walk in (no tub) shower. The bathroom however is very small. Just shower and toilet. the Sink/Vanity is outside. The first room we were given smelled a little bit like smoke so we asked for a different room and was given another room right away. the 2nd room was much better. the employees were really nice. where this hotel could use improvement is in the breakfast area. It would be easier and faster for guests if the hotel would provide paper plates and plastic forks instead of silverware and plates. There were a couple of times where there were no plates or silverware b/c we needed to wait for the plates to be cleaned. it really would save time for not only the hotel guests but also for the employees. Overall the hotel was decent.

« It was fine, but just fine »

There are two Best Westerns in KIngman, one across the road and down a block or so from one another. We picked this one and would probably pick the other next time. The room was clean but probably needed a facelift. The shower was good. Breakfast was good. Railroad tracks run behind the motel so that precluded us from leaving the bathroom window open. Our room did not look near as good as the one in the photo. I wonder if they give older rooms to people traveling with pets?

« Best Rest in Kingman AZ »

Wife and I spent 4 nights here and it was the best rest in a long time. We will be using King's Inn anytime we stop in Kingman, AZ. Really have to try the breakfast, top notch. Centrally located, easy to get around. Close to Oatman and Laughlin.

    « Our Stay »

When we arrived we noticed a lot of motorcycles. After checking in, we could not park anywhere near our room and had to haul our luggage quite a ways to the room. When we came back 6 days later, it was completely different and we had no problem.

« Home away from home »

I stayed here for a week while working at the Grand Canyon. It is a pleasant place to stay. The rooms are large and comfortable. The pool is beautiful and clean. The staff is very friendly. Everything works like it should, including the onsite laundry for guests. My room was quite clean. My only recommendation to management is to clean the carpets - my feet were black from walking in my room barefoot.

« stay in Kingman AZ »

nice hotel in a remote location, good stop on the way . it's close to the railway so can be a bit noisy. Laundry convenient, it's a motel with access to the rooms from an outside corridor. No restaurant on site but a few options nearby

    « Loved it !!! »

One of the best rooms I've stayed in. Beautiful decor, clean and new. Room amenities are great, having a microwave in the room is so nice heating leftovers from dinner. Internet was easy to connect to and worked well. I can't say enough, just loved it !!!

    « Good Choice »

Our second hotel as part of a three week tour of the Western USA. Followed Route 66 out of LA as much as possible and into Kingman which is a good overnight stop. Motel style accommodation on two levels, very spacious but very dark room. There is an outdoor pool but sadly we didn't have enough time to take advantage. It's located in central Kingman with free wifi and the only hotel in our whole trip to offer free breakfast which was really welcome. A good enroute hotel, certainly served it's purpose.

    « Nice stop »

Nice Best Western. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff great. Pet friendly with nice area to walk my dog. Not sure about breakfast as it was very busy and no where to sit so we opted to eat elsewhere. Close to I-40.

    « An unexpected pleasure »

We drove from San Fran where we attended a conference at a Hyatt Regency. There we felt taken advantage of in an extremely expensive hotel with minimum service, phone booth sized room, broken shower and had to pay $8 for coffee and juice if we wanted to enjoy breakfast in their bragged upon atrium. Then we arrived in Kingman ' s Best Western King Suites where we experienced the exact opposite! Great night sleep in clean, roomy, comfort followed by a hot breakfast served on porcelain plates, not Styrofoam ! All for a fraction of the cost. Service is service and BW King Suites gets it. We were so pleased.

    « Nice stop on Route 66 »

We were trying to make it to Las Vegas from the Grand Canyon, via Route 66. But we hit awful rain, so we stopped in Kingman. The hotel was great. Pool was really nice. We got to park our bikes right outside our door, which was REALLY nice. Price was fair, and less than competitors.

« Convenient, Comfortable and Updated »

Although this is a frequent stop off for us on our way to Las Vegas, Bullhead City, Laughlin or further on to ID, we haven't reviewed it for several years. Wanted to review again as they've made some changes including an elevator to the 2nd floor (nice). Also, they've expanded the lobby/café area which makes for more seating at the complimentary breakfast. Stay was nice and quiet and our room with two queens was comfortable and toward the center of the hall upstairs so we didn't hear much walking traffic past our window to and from rooms. Staff are friendly and check in is quick. Very convenient for those who don't want to make the extra hour and one half into Vegas after a long drive from Tucson or Phoenix. There's a restaurant across the parking lob (JB's) in case you want to grab a bite but don't want to get back in the car later on. There's not too much to do in this town but they do have craft fairs, bar-b-q's and gatherings in a small park on the way to NV. Check it out before you leave for a nice start out if you're traveling on a weekend.

« Harley Ride thru Arizona »

We stayed here two nights - one coming and one going. The staff was friendly and very helpful. One suggestion though - we liked the non-smoking rooms better. Both were clean and neat but felt the non-smoking were much nicer. Liked the fact that it was close to walking to restaurants.

« poor for handicaped people »

I love best western, but this one is not that great. The breakfast was very good, the hotel clerks were all very nice. but they do not have enough handicap rooms, and ther is a huge step into the hotel room from your car to the room. So I had to walk the ramp at the front of the hotel and walk around the building to get to my room. Also there were a lot of bugs in our room, I hate bugs. other then those two things its a nice hotel.

« Nice room, but too many night trains »

Great room in a hotel with a bad location near the railroad tracks. Slept very little in our "quiet" room. Trains ran about every 20 minutes throughout the night. Most hotels in Kingman are along the track. I'd suggest trying the other side of the road at a minumum. Very nice room, though.
