    « Nights stay »

We have only stayed at this hotel twice and were very satisfied both times. Room was very clean and inviting. The king sized bed was a lttle hard for spouse, but overall we had a good nights sleep. The staff at checkin were friendly and helpful. We would recommend this hotel as a great place to stay at when in Kingman, Arizona.

« Favorite Best Western so far »

We've stayed at four BW hotels in the last six months, this one was our favorite. It was a very nice respite on our road trip, nicer than what we needed, to be honest and the breakfast was the best we have had at BW so far.

    « Great overnight stop »

Western travelers on I-40 who find themselves in Kingman, AZ will find a welcome stay at this Best Western, one of two in close proximity just off the highway. Large, spotless rooms offer a settee, reading chair and table/desk with chair plus the requisite flat-screen TV, microwave and fridge with freezer. Staff is super friendly and helpful. And the highly-rated breakfast gives you a good start for the road: scrambled eggs, waffles, sausage and biscuits with sausage gravy, along with fresh fruit and cold cereal and pastries. You won't be disappointed if you stop here.

    « Loved it! »

I didn't think this Best Western would be anything but just so-so...but I was wrong! It was great! From the fabulous room with so much room and the BEST refrigerator ever for road traveling, tiny little kitchen area to deal with food, spacious living area and very, very comfy bed. Bathroom was well stocked with washclothes! I appreciate that! Breakfast was great and on REAL dishes! Everything was clean and the parking lot was well lit and spacious. Great dog area too. (And people seemingly even picked up their dog waste!). A very pleasant stay.

« Route 66 Best Western is worth the money! »

Easy access along Route 66. Amazing beds, refreshing decor, huge room, great shower and delicious breakfast were the highlights for us. It will be our new "go to" for our road trip's halfway stop. Next time we'll bring swimsuits for the hot tub & pool. Value for the money for us!

    « Mini vacation »

I have to say this hotel is amazing with Thier prices. They have super helpful staff. I called them and I booked couple of rooms for me and my mom. But couple weeks later I had to cancel one of my room since I didn't need to 2 rooms anymore since had some family issues. The staff was more than happy to cancel it and at the same time, I found the same room for sower price when I book it amd they match the rate. The room was very nice. I will Come back and stay with them again.

    5
    « Best Rest!!! »

This was our first stay at this motel and we will definitely return next year as we only travel west during the late fall. The personnel were great securing a specific room and it was nicely furnished and very quiet. We would definitely recommend this motel to friends traveling through the area.

« Great Place to Stay when Traveling »

Kingman is always a stop on the way to somewhere else for us. This Best Western is excellent. Very very clean. Nice big shower. Comfortable bed. Wi-Fi at no extra cost for our $89. which included tax. Breakfast was the usual fare, but seemed a cut above other places . Definitely would stay here again.

    3
    « Most satisfactory »

This Best Western is in a very convenient location, has lots of parking, is pet friendly and offers a great hot breakfast included in room fee. The beds are comfortable, the room has excellent temperature controls and the shower is most adequate. All the staff we encountered were courteous, friendly and helpful.

Bingo- A hot tub and king sized bed for a competitive rate! Just what we wanted and then the bathroom was beautiful, clean, comfortable. Staff was perky, friendly, helpful. Breakfast was more than we expected. would stay again if ever in the area.

« Nice covered hot tub »

Jenifer of the Reception staff was super friendly, helpful and hysterical. There was ample parking and an elevator. The room was very spacious and clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. We especially enjoyed the hot tub after a long day on the road. Breakfast was a nice hot and cold buffet. The only drawback is the outside corridors.

    5
    « Great location »

Friendly staff, Lovely room, very clean with a comfy bed. We were traveling for six weeks and this was the best breakfast during our trip! There was eggs, sausage, french toast, fruit, pastries plus breads and cereal, a feast and great way to start a day!

    « Great find »

Stopped over night at this fine establishment for the first time in early November '16. We will return as the staff was professional, welcoming and eager to please. Accommodations were at high end of the Best Western Plus category. Great bed and quiet room, topped off with an excellent breakfast. Looking forward to our next visit to Kingman and A Wayfarer's Inn and Suites stay.

    5
« Very nice hotel in good location »

This is truly an exceptional hotel in Kingman, Arizona. It's a great stopping place whether you are traveling north or south, east or west. The hotel has easy freeway access and there are plenty of local amenities nearby The hotel is clean and the staff are always professional. The free breakfast is excellent with multiple food items to choose from. I highly recommend this particular hotel for your next travel stop.

    « Best in Kingman !! »

Have stayed here many times on our trips from Durango, CO to Cenrtal and Southern California. The front desk staff has always been friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Very dog friendly place. Decent breakfast and Internet access.

« My stay in Kingman, AZ »

I was so surprised at how nice this hotel was. The room was really clean, the staff were very friendly, the beds very comfortable and the breakfast was good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Kingman was a cute little town. Hope you take time to go downtown and check it out.

« Nice motel, great staff and a great night's sleep in Kingman »

We've been to the Wayfarer's Inn and Suites in Kingman several times and enjoyed our stay every time. We had a restful and comfortable night's sleep each time in a nice room. Breakfast was good and the staff outstanding.

    « ALWAYS OUTSTANDING »

I'm always happy to write an updated review for our friends at the BW PLUS A Wayfarer's Inn and Suites. My wife and I always book our stay here whenever we pass through Kingman, AZ. The staff is always welcoming, caring, and very thorough in their efforts to make you feel at home. The rooms are always clean, fresh, and indeed feel at home. The morning breakfast room is spacious, clean, and the staff provide a wide array of selections of fresh and appealing breakfast items.

    5
« The perfect hotel for us »

This had everything I like in a hotel. It had plenty of parking right outside our room, had a better breakfast than most places, was very clean and comfortable, and the staff was helpful and friendly. It was an excellent value. And since we were driving a 1960s classic car I wanted it close by our room and we were able to park right outside our front door. Perfect.

    « Owner »

Staying at Wayfarer's Best Western in Kingman Az. Is by far the best place I have stayed at. The staff along with a wonderful clean room are second to none. I wish all hotels could take what this place offers and use it!! Thanks Cary and staff for a great job!!

« Kingman Best Western Plus »

These rooms have very comfortable beds. The Inn was pet friendly but very quiet - the rooms must be well insulated or the pets were all quiet. Overall we had a nice and welcome stop for the night. The hotel is on historic Route 66 and the I-40 so it is convenient for travelers but far enough away for a quiet restful night.

    4
« Excellent value and generally pretty nice »

Typical of many BW Plus hotel's this is an excellent value, with good sized rooms, comfy beds and overall very quiet. Our only problem was with the shower temperature which fluctuated a lot and often while showering. I told the front desk and they said they were aware of it. Otherwise it was in a good location, nice breakfast and very nice and knowledgeable staff.

« Exit off Andy Devine »

and get to this hotel. I am a business traveler and above all we seek comfort and cleanliness in those places we stay. Best Western Wayfarers offers both, completely. The FREE breakfast is not unlike something you'd be served at any nearby restaurant, served by ladies who strive to make the start of your day a pleasant one.

    5
    « Best value around »

We had a family room booked for the 5 of us (3 children) and had a proper 2 bedroom suite with ample room. The pool was popular and it was an easy drive to local diners. A highlight though was the full breakfast the next morning. Would not look to stay anywhere else.

    5
    « Never a disappointment »

Never a disappointment when staying at Best Western. Great staff always warm and welcoming. Rooms clean, up to date, and comfortable. Love the convenience of having breakfast every morning. Only thing I would suggest is getting a few different things on the breakfast menu. Thank you Best Western!

« Nice Place to Stay »

Check in was a little slow because they were very busy. Even though we made an online request for a top floor quiet room several months in advance it was not possible according to Front desk due to Harley Poker Run and County Fair Vendors booked. We were told " no one was going to get any sleep due to the hotel being full for those events". Our ground floor room was quiet and we did get a very good nights sleep. Breakfast was very good and kept well stocked and clean. Our room was clean and decor was nice. Check out was quick.

    5
    « GREAT STAY!! »

This facility was surprisingly clean and comfortable. Most people are there for one night and it takes a lot to keep the place up with that level of transience. The beds were very comfortable, quiet rooms and a great breakfast buffet. The ladies in the dining area keep everything hot and tables clean. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. We highly recommend this hotel if you are passing through Kingman.

    « Very good breakfast »

This is a very nice hotel. The room was very clean and spacious. Micro wave and refrigerator too. The provided hot breakfast was great and the breakfast room was clean, spacious and bright. There was an attendant constantly wiping tables. Great stop.

« Some good, some not good. »

The rating is an average of two separate stays on the same road trip- The first stay would have a 4 star rating, while the second stay a 2 star rating. My wife and I stayed here one nite heading out on a road trip, and one nite a week later coming back. Going out all was well and good- nice spacious clean room (#219), satisfactory breakfast in the morning. Coming back on the return trip we were in room 218- the shower head was so tight we couldn't move it at all to aim the spray. My 5' 5" wife had to move all around in the shower to rinse off. After a few minutes of use the shower water became cold for a half a minute- then warm- then cold and then warm again. This lasted a few minutes. The bathroom's mirror fogged up so I used the hair dryer to warm it up to dry it off. The hair dryer would overheat after about a minute's use and shut off, then taking several minutes to cool off enough to re-start. And then it ran less than a minute before shutting down again. Breakfast this day was a lost cause- the orange juice tasted like canned grapefruit juice colored orange- very bitter-tart. The coffee was totally undrinkable, having a strong chemical taste. Someone must have not rinsed out the cleanser after washing out the brewer. When opening the foil cover on a single-serve yogurt container, it sprayed the contents all over me, having built up a lot of pressure inside it- a sign of spoilage. Checking several other of the containers, many had the foil covers bulging out significantly. One of the containers had a perforated foil cover. Upon checking out I relayed all of this to the desk person who displayed the requisite dismay but didn't write anything down. I doubt that my complaints were passed on.

    « Normal Best Western »

This is a normal Best Western, with a good bed Room was clean, we stay on 1st level, elevator is present. Bedding is OK Breakfast normal Best Western style. Friendly and helpfull personel Diner to find, in a 5 minute ride

    « Lies and deceit »

First off it started with the wifi not working which oh well not a big deal. Then my rooms AC only worked on the lowest setting and would never turn off. I had the choice of freezing or sweating all night. The beds were deformed and lumpy. The Bathroom had unknown stains on the floor. It was so uncomfortable that my pregnant wife opted to try sleep in the car on the way home rather then stay in our room any further. When I complained to the front desk at check out around 5am they told me the computer system was down and that the manager would call me to adjust my bill due to the horrible stay. No call; I call the day after I get home another front desk person takes my information again because they find no record of my first complaint and tells me the Manager is on vacation! So first person completely lied to my face as the manager would and could never call me. She tells me to expect a call the next day. Well its been 5 day's now and still no call back. They had no problem billing my account the next day though.

« Great Place to Stay »

Very clean and comfortable staff is the greatest and will go beyond to make sure your stay is the best. Pool and hot tub extremely clean and well kept, the breakfast is one of the best we have ever had at a hotel buffet.

« Great Family Run Hotel »

We had requested a top floor and were on the 2nd of 2 floors overlooking the pool.It was very quiet and the room was clean. The bathroom had a small window which was nice to be able to open for extra air circulation. We tried to get to the pool and hot tub but were too tired and it was getting too cold as well. Breakfast was the best of the trip.Fresh home made French Toast with Berry syrup was an unexpected surprise. Wish we could have stayed longer, and will next time.

    « Route 66 trip »

Excellent hotel, staff, pool, hot tub and full breakfast. Traveling with my family and tried to book online to get special rate but ran into glitch. I asked staff if there was a room which had 3 queen beds and they reccomended. It is called the family suite. It is not offered online as there are only 4 of them. Excellent choice of night stay on our Route 66 trip. Highly recommend.

« Would Not Stay there Again »

We had reservations but checkin took awhile. They were busy. We were informed that there was a Harley Poker Run in town and that the County Fair was starting that night. The hotel was full and our request for an upper floor "quiet room" even though received several months ago could not be honored. Front desk staff said "probably no one would get a good nights sleep". The room was surprisingly quiet though. King bed was okay and room was clean. I was not impressed with the thin scratchy towels with holes. The bathroom ceiling had mold which I hate. Breakfast was good and kept well stocked.

    5
« Excellent in all areas »

This Best Western was the best hotel (of all Best Western Hotels) we have stayed in. Every area of service was excellent. It was close to a variety of sight seeing areas. The rooms and grounds were very, very clean. The breakfasts offered a wide variety of choices. Any staff we encountered were very helpful and appeared to enjoy their jobs.

    5
« Quiet, clean, good mattresses »

Comfortable room with access from the rear of the motel that had an elevator with carts available. The restaurants were available by a bit of walking, or you could drive if needed. The breakfast was great with a good variety. The check in staff was friendly and courteous. Would stay here again.

    5
    « Very nice »

In old town Kingman and is very accommodating. Close to stores and a steak house which was very good. Staff is efficient, friendly and knows customer service skills. Seems to be an older hotel that is well kept.

    4
    « Handy Location »

This hotel was very attractive on the outside and had a beautiful lobby and spacious breakfast area. It was quiet other than being able to hear the room above us using water which was rather annoying at 5:30 am. Other than that, it was great and we would stay there again when in that area.

    5
    « Clean, Comfortable »

Clean & Comfortable Rooms. Friendly & Courteous Staff. Breakfast was ready & stocked as stated. Could use more parking available for busy weekends when hotel is booked as parking lot can be cramped for larger vehicles.

    3
    « Comfortable Room »

Nothing extraordinary, but a clean and comfortable room in between Tucson and Las Vegas. As another reviewer stated, suites are not really suites but we had adequate room for the two of us. Friendly staff. The pool was a little chilly for our taste but we did enjoy the indoor hot tub. Breakfast buffet was ok and glad we arrived early as it got very busy.

    5
    « Wonderful visit »

The room was nice, clean, and had all the amenities. The staff was great, beyond nice, front desk attendees knew the area quite well, recommended many food and entertainment spots. Found a great room while driving home, breakfast was hot and home cooked! Highly recommend.

« Great stopover in Kingman! »

My wife and I stayed here 1 night en route from the Grand Canyon to Las Vegas which were side trips to our Route 66 trip (Chicago to LA). We arrived early (around 3pm) and had no problems chequing in. We had room 2020, on the 2nd of 2 floors hidden away from the main highway by the front of the hotel. Room was big, with a king sized double bed. Good wifi, though you have to keep logging on if you return to your iPad or phone after a period of non-use. Room had good quiet a/c, fridge with big freezer box, microwave, coffee maker and big TV. There was also a lounge area (double sofa and single armchair) and an office area. Very powerful shower. Everything you would want from your hotel room! Small but deep outside pool and lounge area, along with a hot tub! Breakfast was good. Nice scrambled eggs, sausage links, breaks and cakes, good juice and make your own waffles (a revelation!). I tried one and covered the four quarters with peanut butter, chocolate sauce, honey and maple syrup then sprinkled on cinnamon! Wow! A delight!

    3
« The "Suites" Are Not Suites »

This is a decent motel with a very pleasant staff and is a convenient place to stop between Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. That said, I felt misled by the hotel website's description of my room as a "King Suite." Typically, "suite" indicates a second room or at least some sort of divider. In actuality, it just had a couch with a coffee table.

  • 3
« fine for our 1 night stay »

Standard motel style lodgings, fine for our 1 night stay. A short drive to Kingman centre, restaurant over the road be we drove to an Italian. Breakfast was fine with cereals, toast etc. The room fridge was too noisy during the night for my wife and unfortunately was hard wired in so she could not turn off

    4
« Great place - even better breakfast! »

We had a good overnight staying here on our way home. They had an amazing breakfast! Lots of options including already made, hot oatmeal with toppings, french toast, yogurt with granola, biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs and more. We didn't use the pool, but it looked nice and there was an indoor hot tub. Our room was big and the bathroom was nice and clean. There was a fridge, microwave and little counter space where we could do limited food prep. All the stores and fast food places were a short drive away, so it's not right by those, but they were close by and it was fine. All in all a good place!

    3
    « A Bit Pricey »

The room was clean and comfortable, and spacious. The front desk staff was friendly and courteous. This is a motel type facility, where your front door opens directly to the parking lot, so expect a little extra noise. The AC unit is a little hard to control, and the room became extremely cold during the night; I would have preferred the standard individual unit beneath the window. Also, be aware that this facility is next to a train track, and if the AC unit is off, you will hear and feel the trains going by. Overall this is a nice place to stay, and I would have given it a higher rating, but I think it's overpriced for the location and the facility.

    4
« Nice place to eat while traveling »

The Service and food was good and waitress attentive. Can't figure out why it came up as a hotel instead of a restraint for I din't stay at the hotel. so tis is what this review is about. Denneys must be connected to the hotel

    5
    « One of the BEST ! »

We just love this hotel. This was our 2nd time staying there. This time we brought friends along and they were just as impressed. You can just tell and feel that the owners care for your comfort there. All the little extras (extra towels, extra blanket, etc) and the cleanliness make a huge difference. We usually wipe things down with sanitary wipes as soon as we enter a hotel room. Not necessary in this one. You can see and feel the crisp cleanliness. The beds and pillows are soooo comfortable. The decor and room/bathroom layout is absolutely wonderful. We will always stay at "A Wayfarer's Inn and Suites" even if it is somewhat out of the way as it was this time we stayed there. No one can go wrong staying at this hotel as this hotel has high standards; and that for many years now !!! Nice clean, comfortable, quiet rooms with refrigerator, coffee machine, etc,, amazing friendly and helpful staff at check in and checkout, breakfast is SUPER!!!! Clean pool too. Do not confuse this hotel with others across the street.

    5
« Comfort all the way! »

I use this motel on a monthly basis for business travel. I have never had a bad experience there. the staff are accommodating, pleasant and attentive. The breakfast buffet is wonderful with a lot of variety to offer.

    5
« The way a motor inn should be! »

This was the first time I stayed at this property. In fact I actually stayed here twice in the same week but my experiences were the same both times. The check in process was very smooth both times and I got the type of room requested. Both rooms were very quiet, well appointed, very clean, and very comfortable. Everything worked as intended including the internet. I have had many motel breakfasts but the breakfast served here, included in the price of you room, was probably the best I have ever had. Unlike many places this motor inn had a staff specifically for breakfast with the result being everything was fresh, hot, and tasted very good. When it came time to check out the process was very easy and organized. The rate quoted at my reservation was the rate I paid. As a note, the staff, everyone who I encountered, were extremely friendly and helpful. After, or even before, a long day of driving it's really nice to be greeted by a smiling face.

    4
« Very nice place to stay »

We had a nice king bed room that was pet friendly, and they charge an extra $10 for the pet, just once, not for every day that you are there. The room was large, had a nice big TV, microwave, small refrigerator, blow dryer, and comfortable bed. It was cool and comfortable. Breakfast in the mornings was busy, but they kept things well stocked, had a nice selection of hot food available as well as cereal and fruit, and had plenty of people helping. The staff was polite, the visitors were not quite as polite, but you can't control that. The pool was a nice size, clean and people loved it. There is a jacuzzi beside the pool in a building that opens to the pool. Very inviting. We enjoyed our stay here very much.

    4
    « Friendly, convenient »

We stayed here on our way to the Four Corners area, The front desk staff were very helpful when we were trying to find a convenient and good restaurant to our taste for dinner. The breakfast buffet was pretty good. Our rook was comfortable, clean and quiet,

    3
    « Only so so! »

To me this is a Motel with a nice reception area and pleasant staff at Reception. We have been on the road 7 weeks and this place is only average. Honestly the rooms are nothing special and ours had a musty odour that we couldn't eradicate with open window and door (as long as we could) I could report it on check out. Breakfast was adequate but just the normal for this type of accom. I think it's overpriced and just ok. I'd try somewhere else next time

    « never disappoints »

It has been a bit since we stayed at this facility, and it is nice to know that it still has the same high standards. The facility is clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good. The room and the bed are very comfortable.

« If only we had booked earlier! »

Crazy spontaneous people. We actually thought we could just tour around on Labor Day and find a hotel when we were ready to stop for the night! We were lucky to find an opening for a room arriving on Saturday night (early Sunday morning) at 1:30 am. Thank goodness we called here and found a room. A smoking room. The last room. Oh my goodness I had forgotten how bad the inside of an ashtray could smell. In defense of the desk person answering the phone she did warn us and ask if we were sure. NOTHING could have prepared us for how bad it was. The clerk offered to spray smoke neutralizer in the room and we ended up taking her up on that offer. Amazingly it did make a huge difference. Great place to stay while out on the road, spotless, and secure. They apparently had a great courtesy breakfast which we slept through! Next time. This will be stopping point for us in the future, although we will book ahead of time!

« The best choice of many »

I can imagine how people have experienced an unpleasant hotel stay simply because they did not know the area, or because "the outside looked nice." This hotel meets all needs for all travelers, and if through the area again, you wouldn't consider lodging anywhere else. Clean, comfortable, safe.

    5
« Great Hotel in Kingman »

I have stayed at this hotel twice now on my travles to Arizona. My last experience was a week ago. The hotel is very nice and convenient to the highway. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and the staff is great. They have a very nice breakfast that is included as well. I would certianly recommend this Best Western

    5

As usual when I come to AZ I stay at this particular Best Western and enjoy it thoroughly. I enjoy walking down Andy Devine (Route 66) to watch the trains go by. Many wonderful restaurants are nearby and I always feel at home here. The hotel is quiet and offers all that I need for my short stays.

One of the nicest places we have stayed in. The decor was beautiful, room was very comfortable and the Staff was extremely accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and laid back. We truly would have stayed an extra night if we didn't have some place we had to be. It is a great place to stay on Rte 66.

    « An excellent stay! »

A lovely, clean, well-appointed hotel with an exceptional staff. It was a plus that they had laundry facilities. The pool and hot tub area were small but very clean and refreshing. The breakfast included in the rate was plentiful and had a good variety. Excellent reception with the wifi.

« Good for an Overnight »

I'm not sure that I'd want to spend more than one night in Kingman, but it's an ideal place to break up a trip and conveniently located with proximity to a number of popular locales. Of all the places I've stayed in Kingman over the years, Wayfarer's Inn has been the best so far. Rooms were functional and clean. Wifi was fine, beds comfortable, room was pleasant, and AC worked well (so important in the desert!). The breakfast buffet was better than most I've encountered recently. Next time I'm traveling that way and have a need to stay in Kingman I'll definitely consider staying at this motel again.

« Great place to stay! »

This is a very nice place to stay. The room was great, comfortable bed and good shower. They have an exceptional breakfast. Several kinds of fresh fruit as well as eggs, sausage, etc. Very nice lady working the breakfast who kept things filled and very clean. We would definitely stay here again.

    « Kingman Best Western »

We prefer a motel where we can park at the door and a king room has a comfortable couch/lighting for reading. This BW fit both. We had some trouble with wifi but the motel offers an ethernet cable that worked fine. Quiet, even the AC was not too loud. Breakfast room was large, food good.

    « Highly recommended »

This hotel was great. We needed a hotel in the area since we were visiting the Grand Canyon West. I was a little doubtful of staying at a Best Western. I couldn't of been more wrong. The front desk was so friendly and made us feel very welcome. The room was extremely clean. I always check the beds and especially the bathroom. This place was amazing in cleanliness. The beds were so comfortable and had a fridge and a microwave which we loved. It also had a coffee maker but they offer free breakfast in the lobby. Great breakfast. If you are ever in the area and need a place to stay, look no further. Fantastic Stay.

    « For fun »

Nice place to stay. I wish I could have started longer. Only complaint we had was a slow drain in the tub. We slept to late for breakfast, and didn't bring suits for the pool. Although the pool area was pretty and looked nice. Thanks Best Western for always having nice places to stay in.

    « US Roadtrip 2016 »

We stayed at the Wayfarer's Inn for 1 night as a stop over following the long flight from the UK and on our way to see the Grand Canyon. The hotel is ideally situated as a half-way point between Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. There isn't much in Kingman and unfortunately the hotel doesn't serve dinner and most of the restaurants in the area closed early so we didn't eat until the following morning when we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast with fresh waffles. The check-in was efficient and the staff courteous. The room was clean and what we expected for a 'motel'. There is a very small pool and fitness room but we didn't get chance to try them because we just wanted to sleep and get away early the following morning. I'd recommend this hotel for the location if you're travelling to the Grand Canyon and for the excellent breakfast, free parking and free Wi-Fi (always a bonus with a teenager)!

    « Smelly stay »

All though the staff was excellent the rooms had a bad odor. We stayed here before with our pet and that room was great. This time however we didn't have our pet so we were given a regular room and we settled on the third one which still had an odor to it but wasn't as bad as the first or second room offered.

« Very Friendly, Helpful and HONEST staff »

I was in a hurry when I checked out and I left my I.D. in the hotel room. I thought I'd lost it. In this day and age, with identity theft such an issue, I was frantic. I received a call from the management stating that the staff had found it! They mailed it to me the same day. So relieved, and grateful to the staff at the BEST WESTERN PLUS A Wayfarer's Inn and Suites.

I recently stayed at this Best Western while on a motorcycle trip across the country. Cathy was quick to allow me a room on the bottom floor which is great for bikers. Everything about my stay here was great, from check in to check out. The one thing I was most pleased with was the AWESOME guest laundry, 4 washers and 4 dryers, immaculate condition. I'll choose this hotel in Kingman again! Thanks for a great stay!

    « Always a great hotel »

We have stayed here 3 times in the past year, once with our dog. We always have had excellent service, room, breakfast, everything! First class. We paid a little more to stay at a Holiday Inn when there was no Best Western in the town, and it was loud, not as good a breakfast, not nearly as nice a room.

    5
« The best in Kingman »

A budget hotel with excellent staff and clean rooms. Not sure about the pancake machine but I will bet the kids love it. Air conditioner was very quiet, a bonus! The breakfast had a good selection. They allow pets. We liked the place. Better than the Holiday Inn Express, which is newer.

Best Western Plus A Wayfarer's Inn and Suites, Kingman, ARIZONA was very comfortable. The bed was great, I slept like a baby. I used the pool and hot tub, very refreshing after a day of riding my Harley through the rain and hail on the Navajo Reservation. The breakfast was the best of my trip.

« Best Western Wayfarers Inn »

This Best Western is one of the most cleanest and well maintained that we have ever stayed in. The staff were friendly, very helpful in all aspects. The buffet breakfast was restaurant quality with good hot selections. The hotel has easy on/off access to I-40 and is a short drive to old town and Route 66 museums and attractions. Highly recommend the Wayfares Inn.

« Stayed just one night, but well worth the money! »

Front desk staff were courteous, gracious and helpful on check in and check out. The amenities were great, though we missed breakfast. The room was spotless and beds were comfortable. Who could ask for more- even a sanitized TV remote. Staff definitely display a sense of pride in where they work. Hopefully the owners appreciate those employees. We'll stay again, for sure!

« Great stay in Kingman »

Best Western Wayfarer's Inn is a very comfortable, clean and relaxing hotel. The rooms are large with comfortable beds and furniture and nice size refrigerator and freezer. Good internet and television. The pool was great to swim in especially on the warm day. The full breakfast was just perfect. The desk staff and breakfast staff were all helpful and friendly. The area is quiet. We will definitely stay here again.

Loved having 3 queen beds with 1 separate bedroom with plenty of space! I wish more hotels would offer a separate bedroom. With 2 older kids it is nice to have a separate bedroom since we all don't want to go to sleep at the same time.

« Just passing trough - but nice »

On a trip from L.A. to Gran Canyon we spent 1 night in Kingmann, AZ - on Best Western Pus Awayfarers Inn and Suites. Nice hotel, with good and clean rooms, 4 people shared 2 queen sized beds with no problems. Full AC, empty fridge for our own stuff. and plenty eating places close by. We would have had no problem staying more nights to explore surroundings on old route 66, but time did not permit.

    « Nice room »

Stayed here overnight for business. The room was spacious. It had a mini fridge and microwave. The bed was really comfortable. The air conditioner was noisy but fell asleep anyway. I had to wait at the front desk for about 10 minutes because the person was on the phone and didn't acknowledge me at all. A second staff came out and assisted me. Parking is right next to the room if you are on the first floor. The hotel was at capacity probably due to the storm so it was noisy but seemed to calm down around midnight. The only complaint I have is that when I first entered the room it smelled like stinky feet. Luckily I had a car freshener that I stuck in the air conditioner and solved the problem. I didn't eat at the breakfast buffet so cannot attest to it. Overall I would stay here again as I liked how spacious it was.

    5
    « Excellent hotel »

Clean. Close to the road, but not noisy. Friendly. Excellent breakfast. Spacious rooms and bathrooms. Didn't hear any other room noise (not sure if that's because it was empty or because it's well insulated, but the parking lot was full).

    5
    « What a surprise! »

We stayed here on our way from the Grand Canyon to Los Angeles. Wasn't expecting much, but relied on the Best Western name. Turned out to be quite a delight. Check-in was a delight and the room was clean, spacious and came with everything I'd need. Check-out was equally pleasant and we got a great tip for breakfast.

« Bustling but not overwhelmed - this place is well run and comfortable »

In another era this would have been Marco Polo's safe harbor. Busy throughout my stay, this motel is located at a gateway to the Grand Canyon?it had as many visitors from Europe, Australia, and Asia as it did visitors from the U.S. If you want to practice your French, Spanish, Mandarin, or Croation, this is the place to overnight. The facility and customer service are excellent, esp. given the number of people who flow through this rural high-desert location each day. Even the breakfast room hostess is fluent in French (maybe because she IS French). Everything just worked, the $ rate was reasonable, and the experience was uplifting. This motel delivers a restorative stay that will have you rested and ready to go back on the road towards your adventure.

We had no other reason to stop at this town. There is another BW property across the street. Really happy with this one for a night stay. Comfy beds and rooms. Good shower. Really clean. Excellent breakfast with a large cheery breakfast room. Clean pool and spa. Lots of parking for big vehicles. Very restful before we hit the road.

    « Solid Value »

Kingman is booming since I last stayed here a few decades back. It is now filled with decent quality chain motels such as this. Wayfarer's is a step up from most in the area it seems. The room was large, the bed was comfortable, the linens were nice, the smallish pool and enclosed 'Jacuzzi' were comfortable and well maintained. The breakfast buffet is definitely a step up from most such feeds. The rooms are made of solid concrete walls and ceilings and are quiet wherever one stays as best we could ascertain. If you need a place to shelter coming or going through this area you will be happy here.

« Quiet, Clean, Convenient, and Reasonably Priced »

Stopped here on our way to California. Motel-style with doors leading to outside. Was leery at first but, surprisingly, I really enjoyed this motel. Very clean and very, very quiet. Slept great. Staff was great and accommodating. Breakfast good and plentiful. Reminded me of the lovely motels back in the 1960s. I'll be sure to stay here again if I find myself in Kingman. Great rates, too!

Rooms were a good size, very clean and modern. The room was also very quiet. The hotel was pretty full but we got a good night's sleep because we couldn't hear an outside noise. The free breakfast was very good and a welcomed addition to our stay.

« Good Value on Tran's Mojave Trip »

We hiked out of the Grand Canyon and decided to stay in Kingman on our way home. We checked in early (11am) but our room was not ready yet so we had to wait. The manager came out and acknowledged our wait and assured us our rooms would be cleaned first. We appreciated his taking notice of us and assuring us. We got into our rooms within the hour and showed a week of dirt off and went to the pool to cool off. The breakfast was great the next morning and then we were off back home.

    « We'll stay here again! »

We needed to make reservations for 2 different stays and it was very easy to do that. The rooms were VERY clean and fresh, the noise was minimal with the exception of the gardener working in the area where our room was and we couldn't sleep after being awakened by the noise. Breakfast was very good and was replenished often for freshness. There were 5 of us in 3 different rooms and they were all convenient to the pool AND breakfast. Thank You!

This was the best experience I've had at a motel in a long time. Everything was in great shape and of great quality--good towels, sheets, linens. The refrig was small but high quality, including a separate freezer compartment for my blue ice for my travel bag. Furniture and electrical outlets for every purpose--very well thought out. Good breakfast, too.

    « Great Stay »

We picked this hotel based on previous reviews we found online and our stay didn't disappoint. Quick check in, extremely friendly staff, clean rooms, and a breakfast to die for helped us easily rate this hotel as 5 stars. We arrived after a long day's drive and after a extremely courteous and efficient check in, we arrived in our room.....Clean, cold, and easily accessible. Beds were comfortable and the room was easily accessible from where we parked our call. No sounds from the outside (highway/railroad) and overall we had a great night's sleep. Breakfast was great with staff continually working the buffet while cleaning up after less than aware guests. Extremely helpful at every turn.

We are usually HIE people for the value and the great breakfasts This hotel may have made us a convert to BW instead. The staff was SO nice and friendly... even when my 10 year old was being annoying asking questions. NEVER seen such a friendly check in staff. EVER. Room was CLEAN and comfortable. BREAKFAST OMG!!! Is this the standard for BW? Maybe BW Plus? I mean we were all in heaven. What a spread. Could not believe this was complimentary. Check out staff was just as friendly and wonderful. We were in such shock!! I think we will be looking at staying at BW in our future!!!

Just passing through Kingman this week looking for a quick overnight for a good price. Turned out when we got there, we realized we had stayed here before a few years ago (with same travel needs). The hotel is clean and the rooms are well appointed. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast is a good selection. And the price was decent for the area. We will (knowingly) stay here again.

« Very Good Choice in Kingman »

This place fit my needs well. I normally stay at Marriott chains, but this time I was traveling with my dog and needed a pet friendly room. Pet fee was very reasonable and had a small grassy area up front for the dogs to take care of business. Room was clean. I was able to park right outside my 1st floor room. Beds were comfortable. The only complaint I had with the room was the water pressure was a bit much. Breakfast had some decent choices. Kids liked the waffles and fruit and I was happy there were more choices than the standard carb fare. Location is good. It's not far from the highway and has a few places to eat and gas stations just down the road. Ladies at the front desk were nice and I had no issues checking in or out. Thanks for a good stay. We will be back.

Very friendly reception at checkin, we had booked for wrong day. The night front desk was friendly and helpful. (No Porblem!!). They gave us all the information about the room, wifi, breakfast, parking, ice machine, and whatever else we could need. In the morning we ate the free breakfast. Expecting a typical motel cereal, waffle etc. No, we were treated to eggs, french toast, waffles, sausage, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy (homemade and delicious) watermelon, muffins, Danish, bagels, English muffins, toast, and much more, The employees, two ladies, very friendly, were cooking (on stove not microwave) and so busy. Room was clean, very nice and the bed must have been wonderful because I slept very well. Good facility but The staff, the wonderful people, make this hotel/motel a wonderful, welcoming place to stay.

My high school days and my early military days were spent near or traveling on Route 66. We called this Best Western in Kingman, Arizona because it was on our route west. What we found was a excellent motel in a town that was filled with Route 66 memories. We visited a great Mexican restaurant for an evening meal, thanks to a suggestion by management at the Best Western. Just driving around the city that evening and seeing the sites was a fun adventure for us.

    « Surprisingly great! »

My husband and I stayed here for one night in June while driving this Arizona section of Route 66. Kingman isn't very big, so there wasn't much choice for hotels and we didn't expect anything special. But in fact it WAS special for a regular hotel, from the friendly women at the front desk to the very spacious and attractively decorated room. It was super clean (including the onsite laundry facility) with good AC control and better than average breakfast included. Would stay again.

We all picked something from the buffet that we liked so everybody had their own individual choice. overall super stay!

It's a the newest in town but it's kept in good condition. The staff takes pride of what they do. The hotel provides towels for guests who like to use the swimming pool which is a nice touch. The air-conditioning and refrigerator work well. We had to take off early morning so did not get to check out the breakfast. But they provided us with a grab and go bag with a bottle water, a breakfast bar (not good, blue berry flavor is nothing but chemical), a banana.

    « A good place to stay »

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel, which was better than expected. The staff couldn't have been friendlier, and the breakfasts were better than we experienced in another Best Western Plus hotel. It is quite a long way out of Kingman itself, so you need transport to get anywhere (we had a car). No restaurant in the hotel, but an excellent Mexican just across the road, with a discount for the hotel guests. Small but pleasant swimming pool. Although our room was comfortable, with coffee-maker, fridge and microwave, we found it rather dark, with only the glass door for external light.

« Top notch experience here ! BEST WESTERN PLUS A Wayfarer's Inn and Suites »

Here's a fine BW for the Rt.66 traveler - worn down from the road trip or not. Great facilities and great staff to boot. We had a pair of Kings in a very nicely appointed and well maintained, clean room - and for relatively small money to boot. In fact the entire property reflected considerable care and attentive maintenance - just the ticket to make one comfortable with their surroundings. The bonus though was the staff - they were the best ever. They got us registered in a flash, aided us in finding our way about town/locating attractions and finally getting us a tasty pizza delivered so we could languish in our room enjoying a Cubs game! (we shared the pie with the desk staff, they deserved it!) We lounged about just outside our room entrance chatting with neighbors (business travelers that reported staying there year over year over year) and being entertained by a batch of cheery wrens that have set-up housekeeping among the overhanging roof tiles around the courtyard - a treat! We interacted with staff on two different shifts (eve and morn) and experienced the same care and concern for our wants/needs. Great folks, their maturity contributing a good deal, I'd warrant. Breakfast was a bit above average for the type (I'm not a big fan but it kept me alive till lunch) and the dining facility was nicely presented and maintained. BTW; The staff recommended a visit to the tasting room at the Cella Winery and they were spot-on - a most enjoyable side trip and well worth the shortish drive. We ultimately opted for a follow-on shipment of Zulma's Moscato - excellent, don't miss it !! Don't pass up the downtown visitors center either - good, personable input available there! Here's a keeper folks - visit and tell your friends ! Cheers, - panamnut -

« Would always stay here in Kingman! »

We stayed at the Best Western Wayfarers Inn when we drove down Route 66 two years ago. We had such a good experience that when we found ourselves back in Kingman in May, we didn't even consider any place else. The rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable, and well equipped. I had hurt my foot, was hobbling around in a cast, and the clerk made sure to give us a room on the first floor, where we could drive right up to the door to park as well as not have to navigate the stairs. My husband helped me get to the laundry room so that I could wash up our clothes while he took the car to have the oil changed. When I had trouble with the dryer, I had to call to the front desk because I couldn't walk that far with my injury, and they sent someone right away to fix it. Somebody had put a nickel in the coin slot instead of a quarter and jammed it up. I had the laundry all done and folded by the time hubby got back with the car. He helped me get back to the room, where I heated some soup in the microwave for supper, and we spent a quiet evening. By morning I was feeling much better, and after an outstanding breakfast in the lobby breakfast room, we were back on our way. Another great stay!

    « Best of Best »

Wonderfully mature, efficient, outgoing and professional staff. Bed was excellent. Carpet needed cleaning or replacement but rest of room was quite clean. Breakfast was excellent and plenty of seating even though the facility was full. Location off the highway is good.

    « Great stay »

Overnight stay passing thru to California from touring Nevada, Utah and Arizona, Hotel was conveniently located near historic Rte 66 and Havasu city, Pool and hot tub were clean, wifi worked and the breakfast was good

    « OK Hotel »

Made a mistake in the date of our stay but Trish on reception managed to find us a room which was OK. The hotel is a standard Best Western, nothing special. Kingman is basically an enlarged truck stop in the desert and is closed on a Sunday night; Pizza Hut was our only option for dinner.

« clean and friendlyvstop when traveling »

We stay here often during our travels. It is easy off and on the interestate, which is a plus. Staff is friendly. Our rooms are always clean and comfortable. I must say, the hotel is older and the bathrooms are smaller than the usual BW bathrooms. The management takes pride in keeping up the property, the grounds are always kept up nice and the common areas are immaculate. We will stay again and again...

« Dark area of town poor lighting »

I was passing thru on business and got there late around midnight and it was very dark no lighting. Some updates to the room but chairs in the room need updating. Rooms small especially bathroom. Has to walk up to second floor and very dark. Breakfast ok.

    « Kingman Best WesternWayfarer »

Everything was perfect. No complaints at all. Only stayed one afternoon and that night and had breakfast, but it was a very nice pitstop. I had a pet rabbit and when I called and asked if that was ok they said SURE!!!

    « One night stay »

Great large room with great beautiful large bathroom. It may be because I'm from NYC n used to small hotel rooms but this room was huge. It was clean and bed was great Front desk lady could've been nicer. I was so tired and sleepy but I noticed a bit of an attitude, she seemed eager to tell me what's in the area and I just mentioned we were going to just shower n sleep and had already eaten. She slammed the paper down and said OK WELL I GUESS I WON'T WASTE TIME ON THE RESTAURANTS NEARBY. She used a map to show me my unit and just said goodbye. Maybe she had a bad day. I've always loved the warm welcome at Best Western hotels. This one just made me feel like I spit in her face. Aside from that I'd stay there again.

« Great Place to Stay »

We have stayed here three times with another couple when we are driving to Mexico from Northern California. Check-in is always a breeze, rooms are nice and clean, and breakfast offers everything you need to get you going in the morning. Easy access from freeway, too.

    « Best in Kingman »

We chose A Wayfarer's Inn & Suites, a Best Western Plus property, for our trip to Kingman, AZ because it was recommended by AAA as a ?3-diamond? motel and offered a great AAA rate. It is situated near I-40 and the historic Route 66. Our room had a king-size bed and was clean, comfortable and spacious. It featured a 37-inch flat screen TV, refrigerator & freezer, single-serve coffee maker and microwave among the usual amenities. The free breakfast was delicious and the free wifi worked well. The outdoor pool was a great place to escape the Arizona heat. As usual, AAA came through with their recommendation, and A Wayfarer Inn & Suites is the place to stay in Kingman, AZ.

    « Always a Favorite »

We travel frequently because of business and this Wayfarer's Inn BW is always on our list when traveling westward. The staff is very friendly and always makes us feel right at home. The property is well taken care of and shows pride of ownership (not all BWs are like that). We prefer the upper rooms, but that's a personal choice. As long as we'll be traveling west on I-40, this is the place we'll book.

    4
    « Great Hotel »

This was a great hotel! The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great! Very convenient that they had an elevator?none of the other Best Western hotels we stayed at had an elevator, and this helped a lot. I had only one complaint, I couldn't find a Bible in the room. I would love to stay here again!!

    5
« One of the best! »

This is a well managed Best Western Plus. The check-in into our king suite on the 2nd. floor was handled by two friendly ladies. The room was sparkling clean and and the bed was comfortable. All the usual amenities were present including an iron and ironing board. There is an elevator, swimming pool, laundry, conference room, exercise room, and two free computers. Our room was located in a quiet section and we did not hear the train (located located across the highway behind another Best Western) during our overnight stay. The free hot breakfast is absolutely outstanding and the best I have ever had at a Best Western! My compliments go to the kitchen manager for the service and the fabulous assortment of breakfast items. I highly recommend stopping here and will definitely return again.

    5
    « A pleasant surprise! »

Three couples stopped here on our first night of a trip to the national parks in Utah. It was a very pleasant stay. The room was large and it was very clean. The breakfast was superb! We would definitely stay again.

    5
    « Very Nice Accommodations »

The room was huge (and very clean), the breakfast was awesome, the staff were all friendly/helpful, and the whole property was well kept. Nice towels and sundries. I would highly recommend this hotel.

« Route 66 Kingman and the Wayfarers Inn »

Wayfarer is so lovely and comfortable. I can not brag enough about the front desk staff and their kindness in helping us get early check in when one of our party was sick. Amazing, caring people and every thing about the stay was warmth and kindness. The breakfast room clean and the food fresh. Great place to stay

    « WESTWARD TRIP RT 66 2016 DAY 4 »

Not knowing exactly where we would end up today we waited until we got to a destination and decided we would stay here tonight. I had researched last night and found that Best Western were #1 and #3 so we tried the Kings Inn but they did not have any ground floor so I thank them and told them we would check at the other one but the clerk said "I would be glad to call over and check for you so you won't drive around too much." That was so very nice and helpful since we were able to be a ground floor room and at the handicapped parking. This room is fantastic. So very very clean and spacious. The desk people were so nice and helpful and directed us to a nice place to eat. I took my grandson to the pool and it is an excellent. I went over to the laundry and it is clean and well kept. We were able to connect to the WiFi immediately and with all our devices. They told us where the green space for the pet was, which out here is a premium as green space is hard to find and our dog has to have grass. My husband checked out the exercise room and he said it was excellent even though he did not partake. Can't say enough about this excellent family oriented motel. I may switch from Choice Hotels to Best Western. I would give this hotel Excellent on all points and I don't hand out excellent ratings very often.

    4
« Decent stay, good price »

Reasonable price for a room, everything was clean and the air conditioning was on when we arrived. The hut tub is outdoors but enclosed and kind of an odd setup. The outdoor pool is decent for a small hotel. They had a nice hot breakfast buffet included with the stay.

    5
« Oasis before the desert »

This is our east to west stop on I-40. Immaculate and a higher quality breakfast than one generally gets at chain hotels. They keep bringing out freshly made French toast, for goodness sakes. Hot tub great for a soak after the drive. Desk clerks are professional, mature and gracious. Fridge has largest separate freezer to referee your blue ice. We stay with out doggie, who loves the grass patches. And we love being able to walk right across the street to a genuine Mexican seafood restaurant where there is ice cold tap beer. Wish there were one further down the road when we head back east.

« Favorite hotel in Kingman »

We have stayed at the Best Western Plus A Wayfarer's Inn and Suites in Kingman several times over the past few years. We always have a positive experience at this hotel. It is well maintained and clean. The staff is courteous and professional. We think they serve one of the best free breakfasts of any hotel we've visited in recent years. It is very centrally located in Kingman. Access to Route 66 and Highways 40 and 93 is very good.

    « great place to stay/affordable »

staying in the suite at best western was great for our family. it was relatively inexpensive and came with a hot breakfast. we found the suite clean although a little older, but we had 3 beds adn 2 tvs with a refrigerator and microwave. it was exceptional for the price and the people working were great.

    5
« We stayed here on 6/4/16 based on reviews - Excellent is an understatement »

This is one of the best hotels ever. Immaculately clean, the room was roomy and very comfortable. The pool was spotless and they provide separate towels so you don't have to use pool towels for shower towels. The ladies at the front were wonderful. The breakfast was good for a quick start of the day. The room was a comfortable temperature when we walked in, not the usual frigid arctic blast. I have no words for the mattress. I woke up for the first time in perhaps years, without a back ache. There is some kind of magical mojo going on there!

    4
    « Very Pleasant »

Had a very good stay. Second time we've stayed here and was as good as the first time over 2 years ago. The breakfast was by far the best of the 4 BWs we stayed in during the past week The room was great...very roomy and well laid out.

    5
    « Great stay!! »

This is my third time staying at this hotel. I have enjoyed my stay every time. The staff are great, the rooms are worth the price. If you are a military member, as I am, (active or retired) they offer a discount for your service. They also have a limited number of smoking rooms, Being a smoker myself I appreciate this.

    5
« Great stay in the desert »

We were delighted to find this motel in Kingman. The hosts are welcoming, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was great! Would heartily recommend it to anyone. Pool and spa were clean and a wonderful way to finish off a long day of driving.

    « Mrs. »

This is our annual stop when we travel east. Nice rooms, great staff and wonderful breakfast. Highly recommend. We love the area and the food around the hotel is really good. Try the Mexican food, best refried beans I've had. If you don't feel like going out, order from Vito's, they deliver and the food is good.

    5
« great place at a great price for families »

Thanks again for the nice stay. Breakfast was of good variety (but needs soda for those who do not drink coffee) nice clean pool area for the kids (like this family friendly place). Our check in and out was fast and easy. Our room appeared clean beds and pillows ok. Frig and a/c was a little noisy. Other than that great stay. We were in town for only one day visiting with family, so this was centrally located for what we needed to do while we were here. We got several suggestions of where to eat. Our fault we picked the most expensive place in town : (

    4
« Very Very good, but not perfect »

Easy to love this place. Handout at check-in showing all local places (banks restaurants, etc;). AC worked well at night but did not work well in AM. Otherwise prefect place with easy access to car. A little higher rate than some.

    4
« Long road trip stop »

Room was nice, clean and beds in grate shape. Fair rates, friendly staff and good breakfast. The motel was full but was very quiet. The pool is located in a place slightly away from the rooms but was nice.

    5
« The best of many »

I would imagine there are dozens of motel/hotel facilities in or near the Kingman area, but I offer a sincere guarantee that you will not be disappointed in the least with this facility. Others, perhaps, but cleanliness and superior amenities make this BW a great place to stay.

  • 3
    « Just standard »

A typical motel, nothing special, parking in front of the door, standard room, pool close to the parking lots and the street. This is definitely not a place for vacation. It's just for one night on the way. Unfortunately we found no acceptable restaurants in walking distance.

    5
« Great stop midway to Utah »

Fairly good price for the value. There are cheaper hotels, however we wanted a place that was clean, comfortable and quiet. Also, we needed to park in front of our room, away from the road as we had rafting gear in the back of the truck that we wanted to keep an eye on. Free full breakfast is a nice touch as it is saved time so that we could continue on our journey.

    5
« Nice hotel with pool, jacuzzi, hot breakfast »

This is an excellent option for a night halt from or to Grand Canyon if the accommodation is not available inside the park. Beautiful location within a valley. The hotel itself is nice, very clean and chic rooms, with a lot of light through the large windows. Breakfast selection was average hot breakfast, but loved the waffle iron in particular.

    4
« Very pet friendly and great service »

Came in about 9pm tired from driving all day and everyone was friendly both to us and our pet. they have a big assortment of food at the continental breakfast only one request please upgrade the coffee. Im a coffee drinker and it was very weak almost like water. The bed was the firmest we had encountered on our trip and was the saving grace since we had been sleeping on poor mattresses up until you. Thank you!

    5
    « Excellent value and dog-friendly too! »

We were passing through on our way from the Grand Canyon to Las Vegas, and this was a very convenient location. Staff was courteous and knowledgeable, and gave us a first-floor room near the lawn area. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable, and the (free) wifi worked reliably. The bathroom had a translucent window so had lots of natural light in the morning, which was a nice bonus. The breakfast was one of the better buffets we have had at a Best Western, with (we think) real scrambled eggs, biscuits, tasty sausages, fresh fruits, and more. Plus real cutlery and plates! Details matter, and this is a very well managed property that pays attention to details.

    4
« great stay for the price »

We checked in for one night after a long day of canyon hiking and driving. Bed was so comfy! Pillows so fluffy ! And air conditioning worked great and unit was quiet. A very peaceful nights sleep. Breakfast buffet was great, love the waffles and eggs. Lots if fresh fruit and yogurt. And thank you for the delicious decaf coffee. Only small issue was check in, we had about 20 senior Harley riders checking in just before us and we had to wait on line about 30 minutes yo get room key. Perhaps they could add a third person at registration. We went to Mr Z Route 66 diner fir dinner. Was fabulous.

« Very Clean and nice hotel »

Very nice hotel Clean and great breakfast. Stay here often for work and would recommend this hotel for quite peaceful night of rest. The staff is always very friendly and courteous from the front desk to the ones that keep up on all the breakfast idem's. Plenty of food to choose from and great coffee.

    4
    « Clean and comfortable »

We have stayed at this hotel twice and both times were satisfied with the accommodations. The hotel has been updated and improved since our first visit. The outdoor pool and hot tub are an added benefit, as well as the exercise room. The full breakfast is good.

    3
« Ok for one night »

If you need to sleep after a long drive the bed was comfortable. The room itself is just ok, not really clean but not gross either. The shower was fine, the towels were like scratchy paper towels. Don't depend on the breakfast unless you get to it at 6:30 when it opens.

    4
« Great place for weary travelers to rest! »

Front desk staff were pleasant and efficient. Our room was very clean and spacious. Spent time in the spa to refresh weary muscles. Breakfast before we get back on the road . I recommend this Best Western.

    « Pets okay »

While traveling with our daughter that has a small support dog, it was very nice to be able to book a room that allows pets. The area for the dogs to walk and go potty was very close to our room which was a nice safety feature.Breakfast here was very good unlike most free meals.

    5
    « Excellent hotel! »

Beautifully clean rooms, friendly and efficient reception staff, plenty of car parking spaces, free wifi, coffe machine and fridge in each room, AND breakfast is included in the price! This is NOT always the case and the buffet breakfast is first class - hot dishes (eggs, sausage etc), cereal, yoghurt, pastries and muffins, toast, waffles, coffe etc and the BEST fresh orange juice ever! The pool is a bonus, although not large but is just what you need for a dip after a long hot day in a car.

    4
    « Everything it's meant to be »

Good location for Grand canyon West or just somewhere on I40, pleasant staff, good beds. Internet ok. Some extraordinary white stuff at breakfast which Americans seem to like. Whole town infested with route 66 memorabilia; good fun.

    5
    « Would return »

Nice room, friendly staff. The breakfast was good with lots of variety. I especially appreciated the whirlpool after a long day of driving. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if iI happen to be in the area.

    5
    « Great Hotel »

The hotel has been remodeled and has beautiful rooms. The counter tops are granite and the toilet seat covers close slowly on their own when started. The wired internet is very fast. The breakfast room is large and the food selection is wide and very good and with fresh fruits

    5
« Great Digs in the middle of nowhere »

We had just come from Mesa, AZ heading to our home in Idaho, upon arrival in Kingman we were tired and just wanted to CRASH, well, we saw this Best Western Plus and pulled in. We first wanted to know if they were a pet friendly motel and they said they were. We unloaded for the night and CRASHED. In the morning we got up and went out to walk our dog when I met a Sheriffs Deputy loading up his car. I worked on this department 40 years ago so wwe had something in common and talked some time. The breakfast was just great and the decor was as comfortable and spacious as we have ever experienced, I almost wanted to stay longer but we needed to hit the road.

    5
    « Never Disappointed »

Have stayed here many times and never had any problems with hotel facilities or staff. Consistently good value. Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast room is spacious and sunny; nice variety of food. Pet friendly.

    5
« Very clean, quiet, comfortable hotel »

We have stayed here 4 nights during two trips and everything has been very nice. Clean, comfortable rooms, beds (I NEED a very comfortable bed due to health problems). Quiet with good food for the continental breakfast. Nice to eat and hit the road and not have to go order at a cafe and wait. We will be staying there regularly and recommending it to family. I like the rewards program where we can build up points for a free night.

    4
« Nice room, good breakfast, solid stay »

We stayed one night at this hotel. Check-in was smooth and we were able to park right outside of the room. We had a lot of stuff in our car as we were traveling across the country and the front desk assured us it was safe. In other hotels, we unloaded everything completely, but we left it in the vehicle as we were able to park right outside our room and it felt really safe with how the lot was configured. The room was clean and had a newer TV. You could hear some outside noise from within the room, but it didn't bother us. The breakfast was very good. The staff was friendly.

« So Much Nicer Than B.Western at Mesquite. Strange .... »

If we had stayed at Best Western Mesquite first, we never would have tried Best Western, Kingman, Arizona but, as it was, we had a lovely time here; in fact, we so liked Kingman and felt so at home at this branch of B.W., we stayed an extra night. Recently refurbished, clean, smart and pleasant staff, beds fresh and very comfortable, busyish location but noise not noticeable, air con easy to use and quiet running. We stayed in a twin room which in American speak means 2 x queen size beds. Lovely. Congratulations to Best Western, Kingman, Arizona. I have given a rating of "charming hotel." Not sure I'd say very much so, as it is not in the first league of hotels but, for what it is, it is...well...charming. Off to write a less than pleasant review of B.W., Mesquite.

    « Super clean »

We stayed here on the way to a graduation in Flagstaff.it was very clean and comfortable with a full hot free breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I will stay here again. The rooms came with a refrigerator and microwave which is always nice.

« Nicest Motel in Kingman »

    « Wedding in Arizona »

Stopped here on our way back to California. The rooms are accessible to the parking lot (Motel), but was fine as I got to park just outside our room. The rooms are large and very quiet. AC worked great (which you need in Kingman). The buffet breakfast was one of the best that I have had at a hotel. The staff was also very friendly.

    5
    « Almost perfect »

We stayed here twice as a half way point on our vacation to Four Corners. Staff is outstanding. Rooms are large, clean, comfortable and quiet. Wi-fi is easy to connect to and has great coverage. The choices at breakfast were many and to our liking. Enjoyed our stay.

Overall, this hotel was clean, quiet, well maintained and the entire staff was A plus. A must stay in Kingman.

    « My favorite Stay »

I've traveled across the country with my 2 dogs several times in recent years, and have stayed in many different types of places including even high end spas and hotels. Hands down, A Wayfarer's Inn is my favorite stay and ranks superior in all the criteria I value. The staffing is professional, very helpful, courteous, and personable. The rooms are spacious, and well appointed with noticeable and consistent attention to quality yet affordability, and I love that the fridge has a freezer unit for my blue ice. There is no ambient noise from other customers like door slamming, heavy walking, loud talking, etc. The grounds are very clean and appointed in a way that allows me to walk my dogs near shrubbery and multiple grassy areas. A great little park which includes a doggie park is very nearby, and there are also great restaurants very nearby which allow dogs in the patio areas. It is very easy to park my car right by my room and unload my and the dogs' gear into my room for the evening. The breakfast is well staffed and delicious. It is an easy on/off from the I-40 and easy to find, too. All these things, small and large, create a consistent synergy of relief after several days of long driving, when I finally arrive at the Wayfarer's Inn and know I am in the easy and comfortable cocoon that this particular Best Western Plus consistently provides!

    « :0) »

Second stay here. Great service, clean facilities, decent breakfast. Beds were comfy. Nice size room. Pool was warm. All in all a very nice place. The only problem was there internet connection was very slow. Was trying to work on the computer but finally had to give up. They need more bandwidth.

    « "A Pleasant Stay" »

The staff was courteous and pleasant. The room was clean and well furnished. The was very comfortable and provided for a good nights rest. The breakfast was provided numerous options and was very good. I would recommend this hotel!

« An excellent place to spend the night »

My wife and I typically stay at Best Western establishments on our road trips as we have found we can depend on having a decent place to stay. The Best Western Wayfarer's Inn in Kingman, AZ was above and beyond. The ladies who checked me in were cheerful, helpful, and professional. The room was large and well appointed. Everything was clean and neat in the room and over the whole property. The hotel is a very short distance from Interstate 40 and easy to locate. The free breakfast was better than most with hot food provided.

« Very pleased with stay »

I arrived here after an 11 hour flight and about 3 hours of driving. The hotel was very easy to find on the main route through Kingman. The lady on reception was very efficient, friendly and also had good knowledge of the area. My check-in was done in minutes. I had room 203, a double on the top floor. It was extremely spacious, well kept, clean and even had a sofa and chair. The breakfast (free) in the morning was a great selection of hot and cold items and was a great start to a long day's drive. Would certainly stay here again in the future. I didn't use the pool so can't comment on that.

    5
    « Great experience. »

The location was very good and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable and quiet. When asked for a place to eat they recommended a place across the street which was very good. Breakfast was one of the best of our trip. If we went that way again we would stop there.

    4
    « AZ Route 66 Fun Run »

Friendly and efficient staff, great hot buffet breakfast, and comfortable rooms. The bathroom was a little small and no exhaust vent so after a shower it's stinky and steamy but there is a small window so that resolved the issue. The buffet breakfast included waffles, fresh fruit, muffins, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, biscuits, etc. I also liked the fact that there were paper plates and cups in case you needed to grab breakfast on the go.

    4
    « Nice Hotel »

It was a nice hotel, a bit pricy. Our king room was very spacious and spotless. My only disappointment was the wifi. It was sporadic, therefore very frustrating to use. We ended up running the wifi from our car. We have a small business and have to do the books every night so wifi is very important to us. Other than that the room was comfortable as was the bed.

    5
    « Returning for business »

Its always great to arrive at Wayfarer's Inn, whether for business or pleasure. We have been there for both. Service and accommodations are always consistently great. Each time we are greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Love the large clean rooms with all the amenities. We will return again soon!

    4
    « Cleanest room I have seen! »

I booked this for our family just passing through kingman. I booked it because it was the number one hotel on trip advisor. Now I know why. It was immaculate. From the toilets, corners, everything was spotless! It was a pretty large room. My kids were hyper from being cooped up in a car all day and loved running around the room. Check in was easy. I didn't like that I had to pay 10$ extra for a crib in the bed. That seems pretty standard to be included in a room charge. I would definitely stay here again.

    5
« only place to stay in Kingman »

We have stayed at this facility about 20 times over the years for the River Run each year. Clean place, friendly staff, good food, good location. Excellent Mexican restaurant across the street. Easy access to-from freeway I-40. Gas stations near and market. Even a drug store across the street.

    5
    « Terrific »

First class facility with the staff going above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The updated rooms are big and comfortable. You just can't beat the buffet breakfast anywhere!!! We would stay there again in a heart beat.

    5
    « Quick trip »

We made a quick trip to Kingman and stayed at the Wayfarer's Inn. It was a refreshing experience. The staff were very positive and professional. They made sure our needs were met and went the extra mile. The breakfast was very well done and rivaled any cafe in town. It was a great experience and we recommend it to anyone traveling through Kingman.

The Best Western was located right on route 66 which was a great tourist stop. The staff was very friendly and happy. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts i ever had. The one problem was there was only one elevator and our room was at the opposite end of the elevator which was a lot of walking after our busy day. Over all fantastic hotel

    « Elevator not working »

We choice this location because of previous excellent performance. This time we needed an elevator. When checking in we were told they now have an elevator. We unloaded and used the elevator. Next morning when checking out we had to wrestle with our luggage to get them down STAIRS, elevator was NOT working. This was very important to us. Verify before checking in.

Friendly staff. Great Mecxican Restaurant directly across the street. Close to Oatman, fun old mining town, go see the wild burrows that wonder through town. Nice pool and hot tub area. Very good breakfast selection.

    « Blah »

Lipstick on a pig is all I can muster up. Old, dated. Worn. Cheap, and one gets what one pays for. Just passing through ... meant that I was willing to compromise that particular night's desire for "luxury" to say $$.

    « Kingman-Route 66 »

Glad we chose this Best Western. Rooms are a good distance from the street and no train noise. Hotels on the opposite side of the street backed up to the train tracks. Room was clean nd pleasant, plenty of space. Best breakfast buffet I have had at a Best Western. Extremely friendly & helpful staff.

« Decent hotel with family suite! »

We were excited to find there was a family suite - a room with 3 queen beds - and were happy with our stay. The hotel is older but does the job when passing through Kingman. Breakfast was included and was good - typical hotel fare.

« wayfarer best western kingman az. »

The hotel staff obviously cared about the facility and made every attempt to make us feel welcome. The breakfast was excellent. The food unlike many chain hotels whose breakfasts are pre-preaared wash prepared fresh in the kitchen.

    4
« Convenient place to stay in Kingman »

The facilities were good and the staff were friendly. The free breakfast was quite extensive. The hotel was located close to the interstate, so ideal for onward travel. There is a good selection of places to eat out in Kingman.

    « fleas »

The breakfast was good, and the bed good. However, the room was very noisy and there were fleas in the room. Since we travel with two small flea free dogs this was disconcerting. Having stayed in at least 20 different hotels, several best westerns, in the past year we were surprised to find fleas.

    « Elevator...Nice! »

This appears to be an older hotel but the updates are nice. The elevator was a plus! The room was clean as was the breakfast area. Friendly staff at the front desk and the breakfast area. I would recommend this hotel.

« Great place to relax after a long day of driving »

My husband and I travel a lot and were very impressed by this motel. The staff were friendly but professional. The accommodations were luxurious and especially clean. We relaxed in the hot tub and had a great night's sleep. The breakfast buffet was great. The atmosphere was like a family inn with excellent food. The staff once again were friendly but professional and competent. The coffee was fabulous which is a huge plus for me. I think any traveler would enjoy a stay here.

    « great hotel »

We are moving to kingman and needed a central place to stay and this was a great hotel for the money. Staff was nice and knowledgeable. The breakfast was ok, I can make better at home but for a hotel it was good. overall a very good experience

    « Always a pleasure »

Coming to Kingman on personal business that is not always pleasant so having a good place to relax at the end of the day is like a slice of heaven. The rooms are always clean, the shower is excellent, the hair dryer is the best and the breakfast is plentiful for my needs.

« We had a great experience at the Wayfarer Inn. »

We had a great experience at the Wayfarer Inn. The staff were friendly, check-in and check-out a breeze, and breakfast was great. We took the front desk staff's recommendation to have dinner across the street at Oysters, which was very helpful.

    5
« Clean and spacious rooms »

Good location, clean spacious rooms, friendly staff. This was my first time staying in Kingman and it was a pleasant experience. Great continental breakfast in a clean area. The check in and check out process was painless.

« Great breakfast, super clean/updated and friendly »

Great hotel, with a decent rate. We obtained a 10% Harley Davidson discount and were upgraded to a King suite upon arrival. They allowed us to park our motos under the covered parking to avoid the rain. Very, very friendly front reception to check in (except the early morning lady at 5am was not very friendly, it seemed like I was bothering her to obtain the internet code). The breakfast is great! There was a tour bus of french tourists and the chef was speaking french with them, so I'm guessing they have acquired the french chef in this little town. Eggs, sausage, biscuit & gravy, waffles, yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit. All was presented well, appetizing and yummy. The room is spacious with a sitting area in the suites. Microwave and mini-fridge, flat screen tv with cable. Comfortable bed. Very clean, updated bathroom.

« Great spot to stay when your in Kingman »

Good, but quiet location, newer decor, nice people, excellent location. This Best Western starts tall among the rest. For some reason, the breakfast although pretty standard menu, the food was restaurant quality, the scrambled eggs has a great taste and texture, how did they do that?

    5
« Great place to stay in Kingman »

We have stayed at the BW Wayfarer's Inn every time we are in the Kingman area or passing thru....rooms are always clean and comfortable and breakfast is delicious. On one visit our grandchildren left their bathing suits hanging in the closet and the Inn mailed them to our home. Will continue to stay there when our travels take us thru Kingman.

    5
    « So friendly »

The ladies at the front desk were so kind, friendly and accommodating. Both were very helpful. Room was very clean and spacious with a fridge, and microwave. We were on the ground floor and it was nice to park in front of the room. Breakfast was amazing home made biscuits and gravy and they home make their oatmeal as well.

    5
    « A lovely stay »

This hotel was clean and a welcome rest bite from our travels on route 66. The staff were excellent and we found the facilities to be more than adequate including a clean pool and excellent breakfast along with comfy beds and a beautiful view. We would stay again and recommend to anyone.

« Nice Stop Over Point »

Rooms were tidy, staff was courteous, beds comfortable and breakfast was quite good. Was directed to this hotel by the Best Western Hotel call centre when I was Eastbound on I40 in Ludlow, since my first preference in Needles was sold out for the night. Was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at this hotel and will stay here again.

    « Pleasant stay »

All-in-all this was a very pleasant overnight stay. Though I was tired and just wanted to get my room, the check-in staff had a few challenging folks in front of me but they dealt with them with patience and a smile, and then quickly got me my room. Room was very clean and just had a hint of the "hotel freshener" smell, but no smoking odor from this non-smoking room which was greatly appreciated. The bed was very nice and the TV with HBO and included WiFi was excellent. We had a restful night which speaks to the property location and room/pipe insulation, Lastly, the included hot breakfast was excellent - scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits/gravy, bagels, u-make-em waffles, fruit, yogurt, juice, milk, coffee... something for everyone. All-in-all, I think this was a good value and I would stay again.

    5
    « Wonderful Experience »

Have not stayed at a better place for the price. Wonderful Staff, Building and rooms were very clean and neat, breakfast was hot with many choices. Overall a great stay. I will stay again! On a Side note the breakfast room is big but not quite big enough for a large amount of people but it very manageable.

« Best Western Plus in Kingman »

This facility was THE very best we have experienced in several years of road travel between Washington and Arizona. The cleanliness was absolutely superb, none better. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful and courteous. The brunch was exceptional and eating area very comfortable. Check in and check out was efficient and quick. The rate was very reasonable. We definitely will be making this a rest spot on future trips south from Washington. We highly recommend this facility for all who wish a unusually clean, safe, and most comfortable place to rest for the night on the road. Leroy C

« Great place In The Desert »

This nice Inn is just great and located in the nice part of Kingman. Rooms are clean and nice. Staff Great and Breakfast was very good. nice layout. Pool area looked good but did not go in. Lobby clean and persons at desk where great.

    « Clean and neat »

We've stayed here twice and have been very pleased with the facility's appearance and hospitality. Very nice breakfast offered with non-disposable utensils, plates and mugs. Pleasant staff! And reasonably priced. We definitely will stay here again when we need lodging in western Arizona.

« Business Travel to Kingman »

Great value and very nice place to stay. Clean, comfortable, and conveniently located close to town. Good breakfast, great staff, and a beautiful lobby to relax in after a busy day. I have stayed here twice now and plan to stay again when work takes me back to the Kingman area.

    « A Lovely Place to Stay »

I had a very nice stay at this BW. The building was very pretty and the elevator to the second floor was greatly appreciated. It is lovely hotel and the staff was friendly. The location was convenient and there were food options around. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay.

« Very nice place to stay in Kingman »

Since I have family in the area I usually stay in Kingman about 4 weekends a year. I always come back to this hotel and recommend it to all. It is clean, quiet with excellent service and one of the best free hotel breakfast I have had. This is my first choice in hotels in the area.

« A Great Place to lay your head »

Very nice hotel.. large clean rooms. The staff were extremely accommodating . The hotel is just off the highway, simple to find. Buffet breakfast was included and fabulous. Lots of other people agreed as the buffet staff were so busy they opened a second room for overflow, Beds were great . Not enough blankets. The heating was a bit weird, set point of 72 F was comfortable when we went to bed, but we got cold as the night went on and kept turning the temperature up, got to 78 F before we were comfortable

    5
    « Wonderful »

We booked this room with the Best Western app in the morning before we headed north from Phoenix. Due to the Canadian dollar it was a good opportunity to redeem some points. We arrived in Kingman about dark and checked in. The front desk staff were awesome. Tricia is the grandma everyone wants to have, she was so nice and helpful explaining where the restaurants were. The room was nice and quiet, the bed was great and the shower (which is often overlooked) was great with good water pressure. Although being from Canada, I would have no problem recommending this hotel to anyone. Wonderful a 10 out of 10!

« Too Expensive for What You Get »

The women at the front desk were VERY nice when I went to check in. When I got to my room I was a little disappointed with what I found. The room was very dated and somewhat dirty. The bed was comfortable. For some good news...the breakfast was out of this world! They have a local women come to cook breakfast every morning and it was great! Not your typical "free" breakfast from other hotels.

    5
« One of the best »

I stay at this hotel every year and go out of my way to reach it. It is like a magnet to me because I LIKE IT HERE. The staff are always pleasant, happy, and well presented. They are not flippant young girls, the are pleasant mature ladies.

    5
    « Nice, Clean Hotel »

We need hotel rooms that fit six so are limited in our choices. The room we stayed in at this hotel was spacious, had a bed by itself in a bedroom with two more beds in the main area. It's rare to find a hotel with three actual beds versus two beds and a sofa bed. The room was clean, the breakfast was excellent. We experienced no problems while staying here. We would definitely stay again if we are in Kingman.

    3
    « Not handicapped friendly »

I walked in limping and using a cane to check into the motel. I was assigned a room on the second floor. I asked for a first floor room but was told that none were available. There is an elevator but the room I was assigned was on the far side of the elevator, not near it. So much for customer service. Room was acceptable as was the breakfast.

« Fantastic place to stay in Kingman!! »

My husband and I have stayed at the Best Western A Wayfarer's Inn many times over the past thirty years, as we travel between AZ and CA often. We have always found rooms to be clean, well-stocked, and beautifully appointed. Everything works well, and it is very comfortable. Staff is always friendly and professional. The lobby is beautiful, and all exterior areas look great, too. It is always near full or full, as apparently the word has gotten around that you get a great experience for a reasonable price - we highly recommend it!!

    5
« Very Comfortable and Clean »

I was surprised at how clean it was. Not one problem from check in to check out here. Liked the easy access of driving right up to my hotel room door for loading and unloading. Pool was in great shape, pool towels, ironing board, blow dryer, coffee maker, micro and mini-fridge in room. Will stay there again.

    5
« Clean, up to date »

Pleasantly surprised how updated this motel is. Linens and décor current. Room very clean, beds and pillows comfortable, linens clean. Convenient to have refrigerator and coffee pot in room. Parking outside room. Area felt safe. Didn't use pool. Breakfast usual fare but generous and very tasty. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Good price.

    5
« boring city, great hotel »

Everything worked as it should; and breakfast was decent. Why is this so difficult for hotels? I'd gladly stay again if I travel through Kingman, Az. Spoke with the manager and got the feeling that he was concerned about his guests comfort and satisfaction.

    5
    « Oklahoma »

This was the best motel I stayed at on the trip....and my dog could stay. This is one reason I have chosen you as often as I could. Since I travel mostly on interstates, I try to chose a destination where I can find a Best Western. There was only one I found and I think it was in Wyoming that would not take the dog.

« Good hotel, but Kingman itself is a bit overpriced »

We stayed in hotels/motels all over Utah, Arizona and Nevada this trip. This one was good, did some things above average..but expect to pay 30% more in Kingman than in other locations in Utah, specifically.. The rooms were clean, Wi-Fi worked, and breakfast was pretty standard. Didn't use the pool, but thought it was nice that they put pool towels in the room. Overall, it was a good start, but the strip the hotel is on is populated with over a dozen others. So, the area itself is pretty transient-based. Was an easy drive in to Vegas from Kingman, and the rooms seemed to be a better value than staying in Flagstaff. It's a motel, so know that up front.

« Stayed here and drove to Grand Canyon West. »

Easy to find. Very clean and nice. Friendly staff. Awesome breakfast with French toast, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, etc. Nice pool and jacuzzi although we arrived too late in the evening to swim. Dipped our toes in and it was heated.

    « Quality remains high »

It is one year later since we last stayed, and the staff is a efficient and helpful and competent as ever - excellent. My wife has particular allergies and the staff allowed us to check out different rooms just in case! The location is great. The breakfast is wonderful, that staff does a great job. The rooms are laid out well and cleaned very well also.

    4
    « great value »

This is a very good value, clean, comfortable, and the breakfast one of the best I had at any hotel. Even the scrambled eggs were scrambled to perfection, not overcooked at all. The only issue I had was the noise , which one probably should expect since it is a motel. There was some sort of an alarm going on in the room next door, and I called the front desk at probably 1am, and they took care of it very promptly. I recommend it very highly.

    5
    « Referrals »

I referred three individuals to this hotel and they were satisfied. This was a business trip. Breakfast is very good with ample choices. The motel has upgraded and remodeled its rooms. I stay at this hotel every time I am in Kingman. The parking lot each morning is usually full showing that others must like it also.

« Great stay in Kingman »

After a long day's drive, this hotel was just what the doctor ordered! Smooth, quick check-in, clean, updated room and a recommendation for great food across the street! Couldn't have been better! We will make this our go-to place in Kingman from now on!

    5
    « Very comfortable stay »

We spent our last vacation night here before flying home via Las Vegas the next day. What a pleasant hotel, very clean and quiet. I really liked that the window in the bathroom was still operational too. Breakfast was good and plentiful, lots of choices. Overall a great stay, highly recommended!

    5
    « Best motel ever! »

This was the cleanest motel we have ever had the pleasure to experience, even better than the most expensive hotels we have tried. I wish we could always find such value and quality in lodging when we travel.

Have stayed at several hotels in the past, and this one was outstanding in all areas. Beautiful room and amenities. Very quiet and joyful. Has friendly staff and are very interested in making your stay splended.

    « Definitely a good choice »

We don't normally stay in Kingman, but our trip home took us there. Picked this location due to reviews. We had a very nice king suite on 2nd floor. I could not believe how sparkling clean the bathroom was. We very seldom find a hotel, motel, or even a timeshare that was this clean!! Barbara at front desk was very nice when we checked in. She had doubled back and checked us out the next morning. I would highly recommend this property!!

« Lovely :) defiantly a good place to stay. »

A lovely hotel, with lovely staff. We did not have a reservation so turned up on the off chance, Vera checked me in and she was incredibly helpful. The room was lovely, comfortable bed, clean and a good size. We didn't have the breakfast as not breakfast eaters, but popped in to make a a cup of tea before our trip to the Grand Canyon and it looked good. This hotel has a laundry room which we used, the machines we're good and the laundry room was clean. I would defiantly stay here again.

« One of the Best. »

From check in to check out just a nice place to stay. Clean and great food.Good bang for you buck. Pushed hard and arrived real late but still received top notch service. I would recommend staying here and will stay here every time I pass through.

    « Very nice! »

This was the nicest hotel that we stayed in traveling in Arizona. The ladies at the check-in were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was wonderful, with a lot of people helping to clean and take care of your every need. The room was clean and comfortable and all our needs were met. I was very impressed at how hard they worked to make things very nice.

    5
« An excellent place to stop »

We have been stopping at Best Western Wayfarer for a number of years. We travel at least 4 times annually between Oregon and our Phoenix area rental property. This motel is conveniently located just off Interstate 40 with clean well appointed rooms, free wi-fi and pool. They offer an excellent free breakfast daily with numerous choices that eliminate the need to stop at a restaurant before continuing our trip. This makes the cost for the night's quiet stay very reasonable. The staff are very accommodating and pleasant to deal with in person and when making reservations by phone. It is one of our favorite stops.

    5
« Really good breakfast and nice rooms. »

We stayed two nights here. Location is central and convenient to restaurants, freeway, etc. It was very quiet (not even any train noise). Pool is not heated, so couldn't enjoy it, but that's normal in AZ. Hot tub was available. Enjoyed the stay and would definitely return.

    3
    « Roomy rooms but.... »

I have stayed here many nights in the last year. Rooms are nice. Breakfast is very good. But, I have had serious vehicle damage in the parking lot. Very close quarters for travel rigs. Also, the wifi is poor. If I were on business, I would say "unacceptable". When you make a reservation, be sure to check the Best Western website. I called the property directly to ask about a AAA discount since the BW website didn't show one. I was treated to a snarky representative who quoted me a price $10 more than the website and proceeded to argue that that was their rate and she didn't know what site I was looking at. So, I booked this one night trip on the website but will look for other options going forward. For the traveler just passing through, this is a nice place.

    « Clean and comfortable ! »

Great location on Route 66. Clean, comfortable, great wifi, and a nice complimentary breakfast, all at a very fair price. Nice, professional employees, as well. I love the "back in time" feel of the Route 66 experience and this Best Western made us feel right at home. What more could you ask for!

    « Overnight stay. »

We have stayed overnight at the Wayfarer's Inn on our trips out west for the last 3 years. We have always been met with a very cheerful staff who are always willing to help in any way they can. The rooms are spacious and clean and the wi-fi is fast. Breakfast is a wonderful buffet of eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fruits, waffles, cereal and more!

    5
« Good place to stay »

Staff members were friendly and helpful in reception. They showed great teamwork whoever was on duty. Breakfast was excellent lots of choices and a huge seating area. Rooms were clean and tidy. Pool was an added bonus.

    5
« Quiet, Clean, and Dogs are Allowed »

This is the 2nd time we stayed- mainly because we were impressed the first time. On our trip to Florida, we mad a point of staying here because the room was clean, the breakfast good. I like places that have windows that open because otherwise you have a very stuffy room by morning. I like this Best Western because the bathroom has a little window that can be left slightly open all night. The room was very clean. I am so fussy that I usually use my own sheets- no worries in this motel. It is one of the older two story Best Westerns that has had all of the rooms redone. I'm really beginning to like the older motels that do regular maintenance better than the multi-story monoliths.

    5
    « Great overnight stop »

This hotel is near the freeway exit, with several restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are pleasantly furnished and very clean. Desk staff was most helpful and breakfast was excellent. There was a pool but I didn't use it so can't really comment on that.

  • 5
    « Family Visit »

This hotel is one that we have used to visit family in Kingman and will continue to do so. The rooms are in top shape, the breakfast is always all you can ask for, The housekeeping is always top shape with any request taken care of immediately.

    4
    « Economical and clean »

This was just a one night stop for us between Pheonix and Death Valley. What we wanted was something economical and clean and with this hotel that is what you get. For the price this is a good place to stop for an overnight stay but not much more than that. The free breakfast was actually very good indeed, the sausages were very tasty! Not much more to say really other than if you need to stop overnight in Kingman you probably will not find anywere better than this.

    4
« Nice size room, enjoyed our stay. »

Our single king room was very large and in good condition. For light sleepers the train noise might be an issue, but we ran the fan on low all night and slept through the rumbling. Breakfast was good for what we like. A nice place, and we would stay here again.

    5
    « Outstanding hotel »

This was one of the best hotels for under $100 that we have stayed in in a long time. The hot breakfast was excellent with many options. The front desk personnel were very friendly - both on the phone for reservations and when we arrived. The room was spacious, bed comfortable, and the shower had plenty of hot water and water pressure.

    5
    « Excellent Hotel »

Everything was top notch but I was extremely impressed with the staff everyone I had contact with were friendly and helpful. I have recommended this hotel to my friends and I will diffidently stay here again when in Kingman.

    « Wow I love this place. »

I usually stay somewhere else when traveling South to Mexico but they were booked up. After reading some scary reviews about inexpensive places (I am cheap) I booked a slightly more expensive place based on good reviews. I am now a believer and will gladly forgo a few days of Starbucks to stay here. The Jr. king suite was huge, gorgeous, clean, new, wonderful bed, micro and new mini fridge. The whole place is super class. There is an elevator to 2nd floor rooms. It was extremely quiet and I turned on the ocean sound feature on the clock radio and slept to waves crashing and seagulls. I will always stay here in Kingman. Lovely place oh and a full breakfast is included: scrambled eggs, sausages, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, toast, etc. etc. The breakfast actually made the cost equal with my usual place. One of the nicest hotels ever.

    5
« I am stingy with 5 * ratings, but this one is worth it! »

This is a very lovely hotel. The public areas are very nice. The lobby is very beautifully decorated with a business area and a large breakfast area. A nice fireplace with couches is very inviting for just visiting with other tourists. The pool is large and seems to continually have people in it, even in the cool weather of March. The rooms are arranged on two stories with outside entrances, but since the hotel has an elevator to access the upper floor, the second floor doesn't present a barrier for getting luggage in. However, the best part is the rooms. The rooms are large and beautifully decorated. Everything looks like it was planned to go together rather than the usual hodgepodge which looks like they put in whatever they had left over. We had a King room. The bed was extremely comfortable and there were a number of pillows of different firmnesses to select from. There is a sitting area with a comfortable love seat and a comfortable chair and a desk. The tops of all surfaces are granite which gives it an upscale feeling. There is a small kitchenette area with coffee pot (no faucet), microwave, and the refrigerator has separate sections for the freezer and refrigerator which is great for making ice for the road. The bathroom is spacious and has a heat lamp. The shower has instant hot water and a good shower head. The flat screen TV is good and has lots of available channels. The internet connection is strong. I highly recommend

    « 3rd best western in 3 days »

good clean hotel. Excellent breakfast. Had a good clean pet friendly room with the parking right outside our door. Glad I picked this Best Western as the other Best Western is down the street a little and on the other side of the street, closer to the railway tracks. Could barely hear the many trains going through Kingman in this hotel. I am sure the other hotel would be a lot noisier. Front desk people were very helpful.

    5
    « There's a reason why this is #1! »

Friendly customer service is SO important, especially when there are lots of hotels to choose from. The people at the front desk were cheerful and helpful. The room was clean and comfy. The breakfast was exceptionally good, and it was nice to use real china and silverware instead of plastic!

    « Great stay!! »

We were so happy with our stay at this motel. We don't really like a motel verses a hotel, but the rooms were really clean and quiet. We had a family suite which was great. My mom and brother traveled with us and this suite had a private bedroom with one bed and another bedroom with 2 beds with a shared bathroom. It saved us money and yet we had everything we needed. We would recommend this to anyone.

    « A good choice in Kingman »

We spent one night at this hotel while on a road trip west. The two women at check-in were friendly and provided helpful travel advice. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The included breakfast was above-average and served in a pleasant room off the lobby.

« Nice old fashioned "motel" layout »

This is a clean motel with outside hallways. For being a BW Plus I was surprised that this was such an antiquated layout. Has been remodeled but has the tiny bathroom of an old motel. Not complaining, just sayin' Breakfast was good, average. Would stay here again.

    « Surprisingly nice motel/hotel »

Visiting relatives whose house is very small, we elected to stay in a hotel rather than crowd everyone. I relied heavily on Tripadvisor and other sites to get as much information as possible, and selected this hotel/motel both for the good rating & photos as well as for the lower-than-most cost for similar hotels. We were delighted to find that our room was spotless, and came complete with a microwave, refrigerator, and small coffee maker. The beds were comfortable, it was roomy, and the bathroom was clean and had plenty of hot water. This is one of those places where all of the doors of the rooms lead directly outside; we were pleased to have an upstairs room, as it seems a bit quieter. There is a pool available, though when we were there it was too cool to use it. The room comes with a free breakfast each morning, in a very nice room just past the main lobby. The decor is very pretty and there is plenty of seating. Free newspapers are available, and there is a FULL breakfast, rather than just snacks: scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, oatmeal, yogurt, dry cereals, sweet rolls, bagels, fruit, muffins, toast, as well as waffle irons and batter to make your own waffles. Coffee, tea, orange juice, and some other juice are available, and you can have your meal there or take it to your room. The staff were all efficient and very friendly. All in all, we were pleased to find this place and will probably stay there again when in Kingman

It was one of our better best western hotels that we stayed at while holidaying in AZ. We liked everything: the room, the beds, the service, the staff. Clean and affordable. They served up the best breakfast. Very satisfied with everything.

« Great place, sweet staff »

We stay at this Best Western whenever we need a hotel in Kingman, a few times a year. The staff is all incredibly helpful, the breakfast is amazing, and the rooms are clean with good, comfortable beds and pillows. Very happy with our stay. Thank you.

    « EXCELLENT »

This is a very nice hotel. We have stayed here a few times. Very clean rooms. The bed pillows leave something to be desired. Several good breakfast choices. Good location, quiet, near the town. The suite was really just a room with a couch and a chair. There was no divider between the bed and couch area. That was disappointing.

« Our oasis during a difficult time. »

My husband and I stayed here several nights last week due to the death of my father-in-law. We had to make arrangements to get him & his personal effects sent back to Oklahoma. From our initial check-in throughout our stay the staff was phenomenal. The room was extremely clean & comfortable. It came equipped with a coffee maker, frig & microwave. During our stay we had encounters with everyone from the hotel manager to the housekeeping staff and even the maintenance man. Each staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, polite, and helpful. The breakfast was terrific! It was like a mini-buffet. There were a variety of food options available. My husband & I especially liked the sausage links. They were really tasty. We also used the on site laundry and it was very clean and economical. The desk staff had small detergent/fabric sheets, etc. for purchase. There was also a really great Mexican restaurant across the street. On our flight home I was thinking that I really can't say enough nice things about this hotel & the staff. We appreciate them so much for caring for us during a very sad and stressful time.

    « Surprisingly great »

We ended up here due to a break down that required a weeks repair. and stay here since they allow dogs, and were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and quality of the rooms. Once we got inside we were shocked they allow dogs here. We got a king non smoking room, and had ample space and counter space. They have a pool and a hot tub which was clean, and were pleased with the breakfast provided. Sign up for the rewards card for free and you'll get a discount;) granite countertops on all of this furniture and a microwave and fridge included in the room! Even of a fitness area.

We were very satisfied with our stay here. Hotel was very clean and modern. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great breakfast included too. The woman that checked us in recommended a good place to eat dinner.

« Top flight Best Western »

I'm in hotels for work constantly and I am very picky. This Best Western gets top marks in comfort, cleanliness and convenience. But it also has the most consistently amazing staff. I've stayed here several times over the past decade. Every time, check-in is a breeze and is handled by real friendly professionals. Breakfast is great! OK, there are trains. But you can hear them in any Kingman hotel. Here, not so much.

    « Would Recommend »

We did not expect to find such a treasure in Kingman AZ, but we certainly did in this property. The staff at the front desk could not have been more welcoming and helpful. They also directed us to a delightful place to eat dinner and have an excellent bottle of wine. We will be returning to this Best Western on our trip home and are really looking forward to seeing Barbara and her partner at the front desk.

Receptionist was very helpful in finding a ground level room. The room was clean, well decorated, warm (important on a cold night), the bed comfortable and parking easy. Express checkout was good as was the food. The price represented great value.

« one night stay on our way to Munds Park, AZ. to visit my daughter »

We had a very clean room and it was non-smoking. They do allow dogs which is a plus for me since I take my dogs with me. There was a small fee for the dog which was fine! Great choices for hot breakfast. And the service people were very friendly

Great rooms, friendly staff. Will stay again when in the Kingman area. On the opposite side of the train tracks which makes it quite. Dog friendly rooms with dog area for walking. Many stays in other hotels and this is my pick .

« Nice place to stay with better than average breakfast »

We stayed here on our way to Disneyland from New Mexico. The price was reasonable for what you get. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was typical for a hotel, but a bit better than most. The location is ideal for stopping on the way to California.

« I'm not really a motel kind of gal »

You're more likely to find me at a 5 star hotel than a motel during my travels. However, we stayed here during a road trip in Arizona and couldnt have been happier. The rooms were clean, the staff was SO nice, and the breakfast was awesome. I highly recommend this hotel.

The staff was extremely helpful. Rooms and property were clean and well kept. Room was spacious and gave us plenty of room to set up the pack 'n play that we brought with us. The shower was AWESOME! Perfect water pressure! Hot breakfast, microwaves & refrigerators in the room. The beds were comfortable with decent pillows. Sheets and covers were of decent quality. Easy to find off a main road and close to the freeway. Parking was abundant and easy to navigate.

    « A one-night stay with a high school group. »

The clerks at the front desk were very accommodating, very pleasant, and very helpful. The room was spacious, clean and pleasant. We had a high school group and they were very good to put us all close together. Though they have free wifi, I was not able to log into it. However, because we have "hot spots" on our phones, we didn't need the Wifi, so it wasn't a problem for us and I didn't follow up with that problem.

    « Two night stay »

We booked into this hotel so we could visit the Grand Canyon Skywalk. Initially we booked in for one night but then decided to stay for two. Even though we hadn't booked the second night online, the lady at the reception desk gave us the same price and spent some time configuring things so we could stay in the same room both nights. She also recommended a nearby Mexican restaurant which was just across the road, which we loved. The hotel wasn't that busy, so it was fairly quiet with the exception of some rude people talking loudly outside late into the second night. I understand this isn't the fault of the hotel, but it was annoying. The rooms are quite nice, maybe a little dated in decor. They were clean, which is the main thing I look for. The bed was reasonably comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was very nice, the scrambled eggs were great and you had the option of 'real' cutlery and crockery over plastic and paper. Check out was quick and easy. I'd stay in this hotel again if I ever returned to Kingman.

    « Recommended motel »

A good motel with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Windows a bit small. Nice warm indoor jacuzzi next to pool. Generous breakfast in a sunny room. Clean and well maintained. Good value. Useful shop selling alcohol and milk next door. Good Mexican restaurant across the road.

    « Stop over »

Great hotel room, with exception of outside noise, from occasional traffic going by. Would recommend staying on North or South side of property. We had the suite which had 3 queen beds. Clean room, and bathroom was clean and stocked with towels. Was cold at night, so they should add a heavier comforter for winter time. Had to turn the heater up in the early morning. We will gladly stay again.

I have stayed at this hotel before on a road trip for business before, and stayed here again on this road trip for business, and if I am in the area again being business or pleasure I will definatly stay here again. Clean comfy rooms, quiet location, comfy bed, great staff.

    « Great Spot »

Highly recommend this great little hotel -- it was a bit of a feel of days gone by only with a clean and very modern, updated feel. This place was spotless with great staff. You could tell the people really cared about their motel. This was fun --- the first time our kids stayed in a motel with an outside entrance straight to the car (no hall way) and they thought that was so much fun!

Best place to stay between LA and NM, regardless of price, I have stayed in dozens of hotels between LA and NM. This place is superior to them all even more expensive places. I think this says it all, no need to say anything else.

« Friendly and accomodating front desk »

I booked this room for my son and his friend on their cross country trip. Only thing is I booked it for the wrong night. Not only did they provide them accommodations, they also transferred my booking details to the correct night and cancelled the incorrect reservation for me. When I called them the morning after my SHAFU, Sue at the desk was completely polite and professional. If we are ever traveling that way again we will be sure to book a room here.

« Clean, comfortable, great breakfast, but I wish... »

Almost at the end of our rope from a difficult drive on the I40 Westbound, I googled the Best Western Plus/A Wayfarer's Inn in Kingman, AZ. There was a tangle of places to stay on the map of Andy Divine Ave., but this one promised a certain charm. The receiving voice at the other end was welcoming, efficient and generous with information. She was especially proud of the Inn's "very good buffet breakfast" included with the price of the room. I made the reservation on the spot too tired to inquire further. As we approached the highway exit, I found a lower price quoted in an internet ad for the same type room at the same establishment. Unfortunately, upon registration, the reservationist informed us that she couldn't meet that lower price, or even discount the price already quoted. It wasn't late, but we were exhausted and hungry so we got the room anyway. The room turned out to be as described and the employees very helpful. In the morning we saw that the parking lot was indeed full and that the breakfast was great. It had the best elements of all previous breakfasts on our trip. Freshly scrambled eggs, DIY waffles, bacon, sausage, and gravy, biscuits, fresh fruit, oatmeal, cold cereals, coffees, teas, juices, breads, rolls, etc. Very clean and pleasant. I only wished they could have honored the internet price. It was a difference of $29.00.

    « A Great Hotel »

My husband and I had a long travel day when we arrived at the hotel. The clerks working the front desk were very friendly and helpful while checking us in. They explained everything to us and recommended a restaurant for dinner. The hotel was very clean and inviting as was our room. The free breakfast was better than most that we have had. They even had two attendants to keep it all clean and stocked. I would recommend this Best Western to all.

« Great place to stay when traveling with pets. »

Stayed twice, once going from L.A. to Albuquerque, once coming back. Both rooms were squeaky clean, linens were fine and beds were quite comfortable. Rooms had both a refrigerator and a microwave which made it easy to prepare our dogs' food. And the water pressure in the showers was unusually good. The buffet breakfast was perfect. If you didn't see what you wanted, all you had to do was ask for it. Couldn't have picked a nicer motel. There is even a nice dog park within walking distance!

    « Great Choice »

I get through Kingman 1-2 times per year. I make a point to stay at this property or the sister property across the street. This hotel is well kept. Rooms are very clean and bathrooms are spotless. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the big TV was a bonus. Breakfast was tasty as well. Highly recommended.

    « Fine for a 1 night stay »

This Best Western is average for a hotel. I wouldn't choose to stay here for more than a night. They do have a double room which is nice for a family of 6. The beds are average, and the breakfast is good, but the coffee was pretty bad.

« L.A. to Ski country night one stop! »

On a recent cross country trip from L.A. to Denver and a slow start i made it to Kingman and ended up staying at the Best Western Plus for one night. I looked at reviews of the various hotels in this place where it seems a lot of truckers stop. This looked like the nicest for a under $100 a night. I picked it because I wanted to be able to swim or at least have a Jacuzzi later before bed. The staff was nice, the place was clean and and the decor OK. Easy chair, desk/table with 2 chairs, little fridge Iron and board etc. The bed was only so so, not the most comfortable I've slept on while traveling for the price, and only 1 blanket which wasn't particularly warm. The towels were thin and small and the facilities closed down too early in my opinion for a traveler who might want to come off the road, clean up and have dinner then relax in a jacuzzi. There was nothing hugely wrong with the place but perhaps a bit over priced for this mostly middle of the road facility.

« Amazing-Top Rating 5++++ plus it is pet friendly for $10 extra »

I hate taking the time to write reviews, but I must for this motel. What a treat. By far the best we have stayed in on our cross country trip (now on the way back to the East coast after spending time with our Military sons on the West Coast). The lobby is beautiful, the breakfast is unbelievable, the rooms are large, roomy, very clean and stylish. The staff very accommodating. I can't praise this place enough. Stay here! We were going to try to make it to Flagstaff yesterday after visiting the Hoover Dam, but after checking prices I started looking at pet-Friendly places in Kingman and found this place. Don't spend the big bucks for a room in Flagstaff. Also when driving in on E Andy Devine there is another Best Western Plus on the Left. Go just a few feet farther and you will see this place-Same name but Best Western Wayfarer's Inn. Hope we get this lucky with lodging as we treck to NC. Happy travels! This is a motel-doors to the outside but easy access, probably better then hotel-getting all your stuff in the room. Just a little chilly going to breakfast this morning, but know big deal.

    « Traveling across country »

While driving from Florida to California I stayed at this Best Western. At this point of my trip, I had stayed in many hotels. This was one of my top stops. It was reasonable, had very clean rooms, and a safe location. The grounds were well maintained and the breakfast was all freshly cooked.

I have stayed at several hotels in Kingman, but when I stayed at the Best Western Plus Wayfarer Inn, I appreciated their consistent quality, quiet, and care. From the moment you walk in the door, road weary and ready to rest, to checkout with a full satisfied tummy from a great breakfast, BW Wayfarer takes great care of you.

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed. Upon arriving the staff was extremely helpful and accomadating providing us with an a large king sized room that made us feel right at home. It started with a late check in. The two ladies that checked me in were very nice, very pleasant. The next morning the breakfast was great. Every staff member I came in contact with said Good Morning and were very sincere. The next night in Vegas at a $290 a night hotel, the bed was not near as good as the Best Western's for a fraction of the cost. Thumbs up, great job!

    « Kingman AZ Hotel »

Great hotel, pet friendly, nice rooms, very helpful staff, good buffet breakfast included. Nice TV. Only charged me $10 for my little dog. Also - when I departed it turns out that I left an item behind in the room, but the housekeeper found it and turned it in to the front desk, who mailed it to my home the next day. I called them an offered a reward but they refused to take it!

    « Excellent Stay »

« Nice and considerate staff accept my late cancellation »

I booked two rooms for thanksgivings night when driving from Grand Canyon to Southern Californian. Unfortunately we were stuck at Grand Canyon and it's very difficult to get Kingman. It's almost 6:30pm. Normally it's too late to cancel. I thought I would lost my money, but bet on a try. So I gave a call. The office staff was really polite, nice and considerate. She immediately cancel my reservation without any fee. Really appreciate ! Thus I'd like to give its service an excellent review. But I didn't stay in this hotel, how can I rate others such as room and cleanness? Trying to be objective, I read though all poor and terrible review, non of them are my concern. Plus,at this time of writing my reviews, majority review are 915 excellent and 409 very good. So I temporary give excellent review overall this time. I'll come back to stay if possible and then give a more objective review.

    « Business or Pleasure »

Great place to stay in Kingman, Arizona for any reason, business, vacation, travel. All the rooms, the lobby, the grounds, were all clean, well maintained through out. The motel is easy to get to. And close to whatever you need in town. Great people to work with on site.

    « Wouldn't stay there again... »

The outside of the bathroom windows were filthy. The internet access provider had malware that showed up on my PC, and I couldn't connect with an iPad. Neither of these things happened at any other Best Western property on this 3 week road trip. The bed was confortable, and the check-in person was very nice. The check-out people just gave me a blank stare, and said they'd never hear of the internet complaint before but that they were in the process of changing their ISP. That sounds weird.

    « WOW! »

So happy we found this motel in Kingman! Super clean inside and out, our room was very large with a sofa and overstuffed chair and beautifully appointed with lots of granite table tops (1 point off perfect score for popcorn ceilings). Ground floor rooms are the most convenient (drive-up). However, they do have an elevator for second story. The pool is nice size and clean. Their complimentary breakfast? As good as it gets...with biscuits & gravy, sausage, eggs, ect. In a very nice lobby...WOW!

« Kingman Arizna at Best Western »

The front dest was very friendly and helpful. This is a city were most people stay the night and drive away. I wanted to stay longer and enjoy the amenities and the comfort of my room. The breakfast was excellent and I felt I received great value for my one night stay. Bring a bathing suit for the enclosed jacuzzi.

« Convenient motel, good self serve breakfast in pleasant eating area »

There is some variation in Best Westerns, and this one is in the upper echelon. It's a classic "motel" style layout but with a courtyard so there is no street noise. All buildings are 2 stories, the 2nd floor was quiet for us. The room was very clean. The breakfast was one of the best, well set up, with more options than some. The eating area was sunlit and comfortable. Newspapers were available. The hotel is a short drive from downtown. There isn't that much nearby, but I did take a walk along the sidewalk and felt safe at 6am.

    5
    « Passing thru »

Nice stop in a dusty backstreet area of America. Pet friendly, clean, nice rooms and the best free breakfast I've ever seen. Forget finding a nice restaurant in town, however. My suggestion would be either to eat dinner in Flagstaff on the way thru or bail out and go to In 'N Out Burger.

    4
    « Nice clean place »

I was on a return trip home from California and was tired from driving. This Best Western was very nice. I loved that they had the elevator which made it so much easier to carry things up. Nice bed and clean and quiet. Loved the breakfast the next morning.

« Clean, Comfortable and Quiet »

Everything about this Inn was a step above what we expected. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, the room was immaculately clean and well appointed, the elevator to the second floor was kind to my wife's bad knees, the building's solid construction ensured a quiet night, and the hot breakfast was very well done. We liked it so much that we returned a week after our first visit, even though we normally use Flagstaff as a waypoint for our return home. To adjust our itinerary just for a hotel is something we don't normally do, but this place is worth it!

    4
    « Good for a family »

We had a family room which was fine for one night. The room was clean and had everything needed for a brief stay. The decor was nice. Unfortunately our room had a musty smell but we didnt ask to change. Breakfast was good and the staff were very pleasant.

« Nice clean place to stay! Really enjoyed the free breakfast that was available. »

I was on a bucket list trip with my dad who turns 83 in two days, we have tried to stay at BW for our trip. This one was especially clean and the front desk staff was very nice. We were a little late for breakfast, but there was plenty available!

    « A Place to Stay »

The room was above average. The staff was, too. But, the hotel is on Route 66 near the railroad, so we heard the trains during the night. It is not near Interstate 40, so we did not hear that traffic, but we could hear the traffic of the street out front - Route 66. A good stay, but not worth the price of the room. Stay 35 miles away in Laughlin (if you can take the smoke).

    5
« Clean Room and Quiet Location »

The railroad tracks run throughout Kingman, so it is hard to find a quiet motel room when the trains travel through, but the Wayfarer's Inn is well insulated and I did not hear a train all night. Conveniently located off I-40 on Andy Devine Avenue. A short drive to the downtown area for interesting restaurants. Very clean, pleasant staff and lots of parking spaces.

    5
    « Excellent »

Excellent staff and good value hotel. The rooms were very clean and well appointed for this price point. Same for the breakfast buffet. Above and beyond everything else, the staff was over the top. You could tell they enjoyed their jobs and went above and beyond to make sure their guests were accommodated. Very professional and courteous. I would definitely stay here again.

This is not our first stay at this hotel. We have family in the area and this has become our favorite hotel to stay at in Kingman. The rooms are very clean and quiet. It's always a pleasure to stay here and I highly recommend it if you are in the area and need a good place to stay.

« middle of the road »

Been on a long road trip, my final motel/hotel stop on a three week journey. Hotel was okay, stayed in many better, and a few worse. Southwest as I've learned after recently moving here from NH does have an issue w/ cockroaches. One, at least, did share my room as I noticed the day I checked out. I let it live another day.

    « Best Breakfast »

All the times we've driven coast to coast and this was first time to stay at a Best Western. Clean, quiet, comfortable. But what wade it stand out was the large choice breakfast buffet. In expected, fresh and one of the best we've had on road in years. Beat out much more expensive hotels and was FREE!

    « Excellent Accommodations plus.... »

Our room was oversized and featured a nice decor with comforting lounging and sleeping areas. Highly recommend if you are visiting family or friends in the Kingman, Arizona area. Plan to book again on our next trip to the area. A wonderful staff that is extremely service oriented with a kitchen staff that prepares the "Best" breakfast of any hotel we've ever stayed at. You will not be disappointed. Property features an added heated pool and spa to relax.

« Best hotel in the area »

We have stayed at several hotels in the Kingman area, and this has been the best. We now stay here every time we come through. The staff is friendly and efficient. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and we've never had a problem with anything not working properly. The included breakfast is excellent, with everything clean and well managed. It's a pleasure to stay here!

    « Still The ONE! »

My third visit and the quality is consistent and admirable. Friendly locals working the desk and breakfast add to the quality and the charm. Even though this place is a chain, it operates and feels like a top-notch Mom & Pop local motor court from years ago. This place can't be beat in Kingman!

    « solid hotel. »

we stayed here after we drove from OKC on our way back to LAX. The lady at the front desk was very friendly. The room we stayed in was clean, big, and queit. The bathroom was free of any sort of mold or shower scum. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was really good. Did not spend a bunch of time in town but defenitly worth the stay!

« Great place to stop on your way to Grand Canyon »

We landed in Las Vegas at 6:00 PM and needed a place on the way to the Grand Canyon. Between Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon there are really only two places to stay, Kingman and Williams. Kingman is 1:45 and Williams over 3 hours from Las Vegas. The hotel was right off the highway. It was clean, neat, and the staff friendly. The included breakfast was one of the better ones I have had at a motel. Gas was super cheap, 50 cents a gallon cheaper than Las Vegas. All in all it was a great place to stop.

Stayed overnight to break up a long drive. Very pleased with the experience. Charming desk staff, immaculate room and easy checkout; what's not to like? Particularly impressed by the lack of road noise despite the location close to a busy road.

Tried this place out based on several reviews and found it was better than even the most positive reviews. Totally professional staff, great beds, large walk in shower, nice linens and towels, very clean, big room, good location.

« Clean and attractive room, friendly front desk staff, but....... »

Husband and I stayed one night, but there were a few inconveniences that would make me go elsewhere on a return trip through Kingman; pool and hot tub out of order, and had to call their IT team to get wifi working.

    « A Great Place to Stay »

We have stayed at this hotel several times in the last 17 months and have always had a great experience. The rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the free breakfast offers many food items to choose from. The staff are always friendly and personable and do their best to accommodate their guests. It's a great place for a good night's sleep from your travels.

We stayed here for one night. Quiet, Clean and large rooms. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great! Good food! I don't know what the difference is between the different Best Western levels, but I would stay at this one again! Great hotel

This is not the newest hotel in Kingman but we were so pleased with how this hotel is well kept and updated. The breakfast offerings were quite abundant and well maintained. The recommendations offered for dinner were also very good. The staff could not have been nicer.

The room I stayed in was very spacious. The desk/table that I used for my laptop was perfect, with an outlet for the cord in the lamp. The free hot breakfast just hit the spot to get me on the road that day.

We stayed one night on our way to Cottonwood, AZ from California. This was our first stay in a Best Western in many years and we were extremely pleased with everything. The staff was professional and welcoming. Breakfast was above our expectations.

« A great location to rest during a long trip. »

This hotel provides the perfect location for a break when we're traveling. We live in California and we also have a vacation home in New Mexico. We make 4 trips per year to our vacation home. This hotel allows us to have a relaxing stay between our two homes when we travel. The staff is very friendly and professional and their breakfasts are amazing. You even get real plates, coffee cups and silverware! The location is perfect as well since they're just a very short distance from I-40. We look forward to our next stay at this hotel.

    « Staff great...room clean...noisy pipes/thin walls »

I am a Diamond Club member. Property was nice. Water pipe noise and thin walls an issue (Rm 105) As with most BW's....bathrooms in dire need of upgrading...windows, walls, tubs, etc. The exterior nice, lobby dated. Staff were excellent. Would stay again in a quieter room.

    « great hotel »

We were very pleased with our stay. We were tired after a long day on the road. The hotel was close to the freeway and easy to find. Check in was easy, and staff was helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. There were several restaurants in walking distance. Breakfast in the hotel was outstanding, far better than most other hotels.

« The place to stop when traveling »

This has become our favorite place to stop on our way between our homes in Oregon and Arizona. We have been coming here approximately four times per year for the past 6 to 8 years and have been extremely satisfied on every occasion.

« Nice hotel for nowhere- »

Stayed here due to its proximity to the Canyon. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Refrigerator a plus. Gas station across the street and great Mexican restaurant 2 doors down- don't let the name confuse you. "Oysters". Wonderful authentic Mexican and great margaritas.

« Great Place to Stay in Kingman »

The hotel was our choice based on other reviews on TripAdvisor and we were very happy with our choice. Since we were spending our whole trip using Kingman as a base we wanted a hotel that would live up to the great reviews. With several calls to the women who run the front desk I was able to reserve the VIP suite which you cannot book online. It is a one bedroom, with living room/dining area as well as dish washer, microwave, two burner stove and full size fridge with ice maker. It is more money than the regular rooms but since it was going to be our "home" for 8 nights I wanted something more than a regular hotel room. Even with the higher cost it was still less that what some of the other large chain hotels were charging. All staff pleasant, friendly. The breakfast is very good, lots of variety and the grounds and rooms are very spotless and clean. It is on the other side of Route 66 so the trains that run are not bothersome at all. It is always busy and they have room for large RV's and cube vans beside the main parking lot. The lot always seems full at night which is a good indication that it is a popular location to stay. Kingman is not large so in general there is a good restaurant selection within 3 miles. Beds are very comfortable as people have already noted and an elevator is installed to help people renting on the second floor.

    « Fantastic »

The rooms are large and spacious, well appointed and clean. Very nice staff, fantastic pool and lobby area. Easy to get on and off the freeway. Just a fantastic place to stay. The breakfast is unbeatable. This is a must stop when traveling thru Kingman Az.

Fantastic free breakfast. Parking lot is cramped as heck. Room decor is horrible, and what's with the Clean Remote and the germicidals everywhere? It's tacky and it makes them look like germophobes. Would a nice hotel do that? No. Only a tacky one.

« Very good choice for travelers »

All the other reviewers are correct...this is a very nice hotel. Easy access to handicap accessible room, lovely roll in shower, lots of counter space, fridge and micro, comfortable bed, quick check in and lots of recommendations for food. What more could we need? I was so impressed, I signed up for the rewards program.

« Excellent hotel: clean, comfortable, and great staff »

We have been on a long road trip, and this was one of the nicest hotels we stayed in all vacation. The friendly and helpful staff made us so welcome, despite my mistake over dates....sorted out with a smile. Our room had every possible comfort, the swimming pool was lovely, and the breakfast was outstanding. It was very, very clean -I witnessed one of the staff polishing the upright railings on the balustrades on the upper floor, and another in the car park picking up tiny bits of litter! All in all, great value for money, ideal for an overnight stop, or a base for a longer stay. I thoroughly recommend this hotel.

« First Time Traveling With Our Dogs »

My wife was very concerned about a 2500 mile round trip with our dogs. A friend had recently traveled with her dog and highly recommended Best Western. My wife and I were very happy with Best Western in Kingman AZ. Great staff, convenient and well kept pet area, couldn't have asked for more.

    « Dog Friendly »

This was our first trip with our two dogs. We were concerned about our first stay in a motel. This was a very good experience. The staff was great and the convenient pet area is very well kept. We will definitely stay here again and on the way home we stayed in another Best Western with a similar experience.

« Best Western always a good choice »

Best Western has never disappointed us but staying at the Kingman Best Western Wayfarer's Inn was particularly pleasant. Great room, comfortable beds, modern bathroom, everything neat and clean. I especially would like to mention the two ladies at the reception desk who welcomed us on late afternoon Oct. 4. They were so helpful and friendly that they made us feel right at home.

    « Great hotel »

We really enjoyed our stay. Room was large enough. Bathroom was adequate and very clean. Terrific housekeeping. We stayed for 3 nights. There is an elevator in one area of hotel. You may have to walk a little distance, but better than carrying heavy luggage up a flight of stairs. Plenty of parking. Helpful and friendly reception. Easy check in and check out. Coffee etc in the lobby all day. Nice to have a cup in the afternoon after a long ride in the rain. We used this hotel as a base to tour south rim and Grand Canyon west, the skywalk. A little bit of a drive to each, but not too bad. Breakfast was sufficient. Wish they had hard boiled eggs. I can not have dairy and I am diabetic. So not too many choices for me. The coffee was good and the sausages and wheat toast. My husband enjoyed the waffles and Danish. We would stay again if in the area and recommend. Also very good wifi.

    « Good value stay »

In a convenient place for us as a stop-over after visiting the Grand Canyon and travelling to the Hoover Dam. We had a very spacious comfortable room with a large sitting area. Very friendly staff who were very welcoming. There is a Laundrette on site which was useful for us as we were on a touring holiday. Several restaurants close by.

    « BW Kingman »

Excellent accommodation and breakfast. Room was spacious with a very good sized bathroom. The 'mature' ladies on the front desk were extremely friendly, polite, helpful and professional; a definite asset to this establishment. We appreciated the elevator and luggage trolley as we were on the 2nd floor.

    « Nearly perfect »

The room was quite nice with good WiFi. Nice desk to work from. Bathroom sink was around in the corner behind a door--very important for not disturbing spouse. Breakfast ended at 09:30 (we prefer 10:00) but the breakfast itself was fine, if a bit standard. Only a couple luggage carriers available (they said one was stolen) and that's not a lot--they're not that expensive.

« Breakfast is the only good thing »

The hot breakfast and variety of items to choose from are the only good things about this place. The staff are old and so slow to check people in that I had to wait 20-25 to check in and had six people in front of me. In addition to the staff being slow to get anything done, they socialized too much about personal business with every guest they were checking in despite the growing line of people. And the manager did nothing to help with check in and get the line reduced.

« Well appointed two storey hotel perfectly situated on Route 66 »

This hotel is very well placed on Andy Devine Avenue (Route 66) close to I-40. The rooms are sufficiently far from the road to be quiet. The air conditioning was also reasonably quiet and the seating comfortable. There are only two floors but there is a roomy lift. The views are fine but not spectacular. The car park is only just big enough for the hotel but we were always able to find a space somewhere - though sometimes a little way from our room. The rooms are spacious and ours was always spotlessly clean. Wifi is reliable and reasonably fast despite our room being some distance from the router. Staff at check in and check out were friendly and efficient. My only minor gripe was that one evening I asked for something to be printed at the business centre which is clearly offered as part of the hotel's facilities. I was told in a most off-hand way that the printer wasn't working and the apology was equally off-hand and formulaic. The receptionist couldn't help the technical failure but her customer-service skills were decidedly lacking! By contrast the receptionist the next morning couldn't have been more helpful - and though the printer still did not cooperate I was very impressed by her attempts to assist and her genuine concern. There is an outdoor pool in the middle of the parking lot which was used a little (though not by ourselves) during our stay. Though there are other hotels a little closer to the centre of town overall we would recommend this hotel as the ideal centre to explore Kingman and Route 66

    « Great value »

We stayed one night in this hotel. Very friendly staff, nice rooms with all the amenities and a good breakfast buffet with something for everyone. Location is along a busy street with many other hotels, but that makes sense as it's more over a stopover hotel. Rooms are quiet though. Value for money is very good compared to other hotels we've stayed in (although those were in more touristy areas) All in all, very happy with our stay here.

    « nice stay »

Lighting and bed were great. The best shower out of the four hotel chains I stayed in on my trip. Room was clean and roomie with the desk as easy chair. It was nice that they offered smoking rooms. My room was next to the ice and vending machine and I never heard a thing. Only stayed one night so did not use the frig. The internet connection was very quick but not what I would conceder fast.

    « Immaculate Accommodations »

In these days of 'it's good enough', Wayfarer's takes pride in the cleanliness of their guestrooms, grounds, lobby, and even ice machine areas that is seldom seen anymore. It is no wonder that they are usually full, so book ahead! It is always immaculate, constantly updated, roomy, and comfortable. Wayfarers, you rock it!

Very good Hotel Highly recommended .Easy to find.No problems at all. I would stay there again. Booking in easy. Breakfast off site in a next door restaurant but only a short walk away. Very friendly staff . The only thing to criticise would be that perhaps the hotel is a little bit out of the way.

« Great Place to Stay in Kingman »

The room was much larger than expected. Bed was comfortable. Lobby was bigger and better than most and very comfortable. The staff at check-in was wonderful and very pleasant. Coffee was perfect! Breakfast was good.

    « Very good accommodation »

We stayed in two separate Best Western Plus motels on a recent trip that included stays in Gallup, NM (910 East Aztec Ave), and Kingman, Arizona (2815 E Andy Devine Ave). Breakfast was very good in each instance. Both motels had very comfortable rooms, each was well decorated and clean. The staff was friendly. In Kingman, the Oysters is a restaurant recommended by BW and offers a 10% reduction in the price of a meal upon showing your BW room card. Oysters serves very tasty and spicy Mexican and seafood. The restaurant is just a short distance across the street from BW; it's good.

    « Bad weather »

As bad weather was moving thru the Kingman area, I drove route 66 to find a place to stay the night. I past hotels till I saw this Best Western, having a very nice exterior I knew this hotel would be clean and I was not disappointed. Thanks Best Western!

    « Always a Pleasure »

I have stayed at this particular Best Western on several occasions. Most of the time my visits are for business; however, we have used them for other reasons also. The rooms are always clean, they try their best to accommodate me even when they know I have a particular room(s) that I prefer. A little "rocky" checking in with the wrong information but it was taken care of promptly!

Easy check in, Clean rooms, comfortable bed, good breakfast but limited choices, friendly staff, did not hear trains rolling through Kingman in my room as I did at other hotels in Kingman. I did not use the pool, or other activities offered. the T.V. channels provided good news and entertainment. the front desk staff were knowledgeable and helped with directions to varies locations for business and dinning needs. the parking lot was clean and in good repair with well marked spaces.
