« Very dog friendly hotel! »

We have stayed at many hotels with our dog. Most claim to be dog friendly but are essentially "dog tolerant" but still charge a lot for your dogs' stay. We found this hotel to factor many aspects dog owners appreciate when traveling. On check-in, we received treats and a ball for our dog, which he proudly carried to the room. We were put in a ground floor room with direct access to the outdoors, including trees and grass to do his business on. We were specifically given this room when they found out we were bringing our dog. The room was large and comfortable for humans, with bathrobes, multiple dressers, wide screen tv and several small tables/sitting areas but also had hard floors so dirty paws could easily be cleaned!

« Kelowna Best Western Plus »

I would recommend this hotel if you are staying in Kelowna. Very impressed with the amenities including electric car plug in areas. Very green and clean. I was impressed. It even had a spa and a pool.

« Well appointed room. Great breakfast included. »

Went to Kelowna for a family weekend shoping trip and overnighted here. Check in clerk was very friendly and bumped us up from standard room to larger suite at no extra cost. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub albeit hot tub was a tad busy as second one was closed. Our room was quiet even though it was close to lobby. Parking was a little chaotic as it was busy in hotel. Had to park around back as I have a full size pickup. Complimentary breakfast was best part of stay. Eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, mini omelets and waffles for hot fare. Cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit and such for cold options. It was also within couple minutes of some key shopping areas. For industrious individuals you could likely walk to Orchard Park mall within 10 minutes.

    « Hotel of choice »

I have stayed at many of the Kelowna hotels on business trips and family vacations, and the BW Plus is by far the best. It's my hotel of choice. The breakfast is excellent (so much better than other hotels!) and for the price, it's a great value. Great place for kids too. Lots of parking.

    « Hotel was fine »

I stayed here with my family during my dad's heart surgery in Kelowna for four nights. The hotel was clean overall and there was lots of room in the queen deluxe room we stayed in on the first floor that had two queen beds and then there we requested a cot at an additional cost. Breakfast was fine, but we did wait for about 15 minutes one morning for the hot items to be re-filled as there were sports teams that were cleaning out the trays - not a big issue as we weren't in a hurry. There was a tournament of some sort in town as there were numerous teens in the hotel however this was not a constant issue but did result in literal screaming in the hallway outside of our room and loud thumping from above between the hours of 9pm and 1030pm - we called the front desk which addressed it immediately. We never had any issues with parking or the front desk. There is a pool and hot tub that my daughter used - it was fine. There is also a small spa that offers massages, pedicures, etc but I did not have time to use it. It is attached to a pub and restaurant. Not sure if the restaurant is open anymore as we only ever noticed the pub open so had to order food in or go out as my daughter could not go into the pub. There was a strange smell in the room, not sure what it was from. Didn't complain about it as we only noticed it every once in awhile - almost musty - maybe the room also allowed pets? Not sure. Also, there was no microwave and the fridge was so cold it froze our fresh vegetables and fruit even after we turned it down which was a bit odd. If you upgrade to a better room then you get a microwave. Overall it was good for the time we were there.

« Best Western Suites in Kelowna is fabulous »

Great hotel, with great amenties and wonderful staff. Pet friendly too! Because we are regular customers, we were upgraded to a full suite for no extra charge! Thank you very much! We appreciated it as we had a small dog with us who loved the extra space too.

    « Great stay »

We stayed one night in the king bed-jacuzzi suite. It was a lovely room: spacious; extremely clean; soft bed; gas fireplace. The hotel itself was very quiet. Breakfast was included: waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, roast potato.

« One of my Favourite BW Hotels »

I've stayed at this hotel several times for work. The design is very interesting with a very large central eating area. The location is very central. The rooms are comfortable and the tower has a good view from the balcony. It's one of my favourite hotels and probably my favourite BW hotel that I've stayed at.

    « Great Stay! »

We have stayed at many Best Western properties in Canada and USA. They have good rates and are pet friendly. Our most recent stay was by far the best. The room was spotless, very welcoming with a comfortable bed and pillows. Our two toy poodles received a welcome package with tennis balls and cookies. Our room was on the main floor, which opened up to a patio on a well lit, large grass area, perfect for us to take the girls out for their "business". When I made the reservation, through the hotel, not the reservation call center, I was asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. We were celebrating our 32nd year Anniversary. About an hour after we checked in, we received a plate of chocolate covered strawberries. Such a wonderful surprise. Thanks to the staff at Best Western Plus for making our stay memorable.

    « Very nice »

Everything was pretty much perfect first night desk gave me bottled water without any concerns but on second night when I asked for a bottle water again, they said they do not supply it and were out till I insisted and they went and found a case. With the price of hotel, water should not be an issue. When I talked to the desk in morning they said we offer filtered water over there and he pointed but at no time was that offered except checking out when I complained.

    « Excellent »

Stayed here for three nights and enjoyed the hotel. My room was clean, large and well maintained. The staff were friendly, day or night. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever experienced. Would definitely stay here again

    5
    « Great Hotel »

Pleasantly surprised with this BW, the hotel is very modern and much different then other BW I've stated at. The room was both very clean and uptodate, we a room with a balcony with a room of the mountains and Kelowna. The breakfast was better then other BW's. Only drawback would be its on a busy street and could be noisy, that's it.

    5
« Clean, reasonable, well maintained hotel in a good location »

We stopped there for a night when we travelled to Vancourver in August, very impressed with the hotel, room was clean, grounds well maintained, office staff helpful. Self serve breakfast in the morning was excellent.

« The Place to Stay in Kelowna »

I stayed here because the Holiday Inn Express had no Government rate rooms left and I am glad they didn't. This is where me and my crew will be staying from now on when we have to go to the Okanagan Valley.

    « excellence in comfort »

One of the best hotel experiences I have had in years. Excellent front desk service. Restaurant was a little casual, but food was excellent. The room on the 5th floor was simply great. Bed comfort was a big 10.Road noise was not apparent, yet the room faced the main road. Lots of room in the bathroom with excellent amenities. Breakfast, included with the room was excellent in all facets. Recommend highly

    « Excellent Experience »

I stayed at this property during a conference at UBCO in October. We stayed for a total of 5 days and found it to be an excellent experience. The courtyard rooms are very large and spacious with view onto the grass courtyard through large sliding glass doors. This allowed for easy access to the pools and hot tub area. We were able to use our robes and slippers (which are provided with the room) to access the hot tubs directly from our room across the courtyard and not having to pass though the main lobby area of the hotel. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very comfortable and quiet. I had 5 nights of restful sleep. The large size of the rooms is notable. Very spacious with large closet and dressing area and cork floors throughout. Full morning hot breakfast with many options provided each day. On the day of checkout there were also a bag breakfast available to take with you on the way out the door which was an added bonus. I very much enjoyed my stay here and will stay again in the future.

    « Staff outstanding »

We visited for one night to pick up our new car -- they made everything as easy as possible, with a smile while they worked quickly and efficiently -- that's my kind of visit. The room was also outstanding -- although no microwave, had a kettle for a nice cup of tea.

    « BW plus Kelowna »

convenient location clean quite modern rooms. staff were very professional and friendly. buffet breakfast was included with stay and was of good quality for what it was. I would stay here again. didn't use the pool or hot tub but they looked pretty clean.

« Little Bit of Luxury »

Great location, well appointed rooms and over all hotel, good amenities. Close to shopping, and just a few minutes from the highway, it affords people easy access to the rest of the Okanagan. The extra cost for plus status is definitely worth it as the hotel seems to lack nothing. Staff are attentive, helpful, and appear to be well trained to ensure guest satisfaction. Breakfast is more than adequate. Back to location, check out the wineries throughout the area, interesting shops, galleries, and the likes. We will be back next time we go to the Okanagan. By the way, we were there in early summer, a couple of years ago.

    « Gorgeous Room »

Our room was well appointed with a small kitchenette area, separate bathroom and vanity area .....bathrobes, lovely toiletries and very comfortable beds. It was the nicest room that we had on our trip. The complimentary breakfast was exemplary as was the setting and décor of the dining room.

    « Best stay »

Amazing!!! From check in to check out. Breakfast was great. There was so many choices to eat, both mornings were different. The pool was great and the hot tubs were so relaxing. The room was beautiful, very quiet. The bed is very comfortable. I will go back again to this hotel. The staff was great. Friendly, smiles, and very knowledgeable about the town. They knew where to eat, and answered all our questions. Thank You!!

« Perfect stay in Kelowna »

We made our reservation about an hour before we arrived, the staff was great! They upgraded us to a tower room with a King sized bed. It was very spacious. This hotel is in a great location if you are traveling through to town to points north. It worked out perfectly for us and we would definitely stay here again. Oh and breakfast was great.

    4
    « Friendly Staff »

BW Plus in Kelowna was a good experience. The staff friendly and helpful from front desk to housekeeping. The free hot buffet breakfast was a step above the usual offerings at other places. We enjoyed our stay in comfortable, clean rooms. We would recommend it to others definitely

    « Does the job »

This hotel is about 2-3 miles from the centre of Kelowna, but is on the main road from the north in to Kelowna and is surrounded by malls and shops/restaurants of various kinds. Bus to the centre leaves from outside and takes about 15 mins. There are no views , but there is a garden area beside the indoor pool which has loungers and tables for sitting outside in nice weather. The pool is a good size. Breakfast was good with a wide choice of hot and cold items. There is a restaurant/bar attached to the hotel, but we did not use it. The suite rooms offer a good size bathroom, slightly small bedroom and a sitting area with sink, fridge, microwave etc. One downside - which applies to quite a few Best Western hotels in my experience - is that the suite did not have a safe - all valuables had to be deposited in a safety box at reception. This is a fiddle and in this day and age safes should be standard.

    3
« OK but could be better »

3 or 4th time here. Great location to shopping in Kelowna but needs a little upgrade. Thought it strange that fruit offered for Breakfast was from US when they are in the middle of fruit capital of Canada. The local lounge now under control of BW hotel is a real surprise and highly recommended. Friendly staff is also a plus.

    4
    « Nicely Renovated Hotel »

This hotel provides a good balance between location, price and quality - which can be hard to find in Kelowna. The resorts near the beach can be prohibitively expensive in peak and shoulder season, while many of other hotels along the main strip (Harvey Ave, aka HWY 97) are pretty old and get a lot of wear and tear. We were in the low-rise portion around back (away from the busy road) in a one-bedroom suite. Good price given the size. Fully renovated with new carpeting, appliances, bathroom counter & shower. Very comfortable bed! Free parking near the room and free breakfast (full hot meal with eggs, sausage/bacon, hash browns, waffles, etc.) are added bonuses. They also have a free shuttle service to downtown (technically operated by the Casino), otherwise a $15-$18 cab ride. I don't know what the unrenovated rooms might be like, or if perhaps they've all been renovated. We were very satisfied with ours!

    5
    « Best Western Plus »

The hotel provides a number of room type options. The regular rooms and suites and very roomy and nicely decorated. The lobby and adjoining pool have renovated recently. The free breakfast is better than average and the setting is very attractive. The rooms are quiet and face an interior garden area with a view of the pool and tower. The staff are friendly. No complaints after a two week stay for business.

    3
    « Good location »

The hotel is in a good location. Hit and miss on the rooms. Ask for the newer rooms and/or the tower. The old rooms do not cater to your your tech.. There is no where to plug in everything that we travel with these days.

    4
    « Consistently high standard »

Another example of consistency here with the usual high standard of the Best Western Plus establishments. Situated on the northern outskirts of the city and 15 mins to the airport, this hotel is well suited to the business traveler. It's very clean, quiet, the staff are friendly and the buffet breakfast (included) looked inviting (but I didn't indulge). Recommended.

    « Kelowna Best Western »

Excellent place to stay, close to shopping, 5 km to Casino (have a shuttle to Casino), restaurant on site, great free breakfast. Has pool and hot tubs. Rooms are great, large TV, in-room internet free. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Lots of other restaurants close by for variety. Nice comfortable beds. Room was very comfortable also

« Large hotel, good location »

Stop over on our way thru the Okanagan and we choose this hotel. Summer time in Kelowna can be hot and expensive. Room was large with 2 queen beds, large bathroom with a separate sink outside the bath as well as a bar area. Larger balcony, however the people below us where smoking on their balcony, so I didn't use ours. Pool was an indoor/outdoor feature with moving doors when the weather gets bad. Parking lot seems small for the number of rooms, but we managed to find spots. A/C in the room was incredibly noisy, but totally necessary in the hot August heat. Breakfast was really busy - and not great. Loads of people, not really following in order, line cutting and reaching in front of others. Staff in the area tried to keep on top of the messy tables, but it was almost too much. Restaurant and sports bar located in the hotel - good supper meal. Overall, a good choice in Kelowna, and would stay here again, however prices in the summer are a bit high.

« Birthday Trip to Kelowna »

A surprise birthday get-a-way from Spokane to Kelowna, BC was made all the more wonderful by the Best Western Plus! The hotel staff accommodated our friends with placing a welcome and birthday gift in our room as an extra surprise when we arrived. The breakfast on both mornings was one of the best we've ever had staying in a hotel, with hard working and sweet attendants. The room was amazing and clean And bed was so compfy, it was hard not to stay there all day! Just wish we had the time to try out the pool and hot tubs. Next time! Kelowna is a beautiful location and we will definitely stay at The Best Western again!

    4
    « Family trip »

Very nice room, excellent location, good restaurant, friendly staff. Was in town for 1 night. had a very nice room with a very scenic view of the area. Nice pool area. Access to parking lot via the lobby entrance was a little tight.

    4
« Roomy and clean hotel »

Very clean and roomy hotel with excellent breakfast/facilities for both business and pleasure visitations. Central location with easy access and close to shopping, restaurants and interest areas with plenty of parking.

    5
« Get away to the Okanagan »

Very comfortable, clean room. When we arrived there was only one person on the desk. Even though she was on the phone with a customer who had lots of questions, she took our reservation number and checked us in while keeping the other conversation going. Great staff. Great breakfast. Close to everything.

    5
    « Exceeded expectations »

Clean room, lobby, and pool area, VERY friendly staff who were attentive and helpful. There is a workout room, beautiful restaurant, and two hot tubs. Close to Kelowna's mall, bus stops, and university

    4
    « Much nicer than I expected! »

This hotel is lovely. There is a tub with jets and nice patio. The king sized bed is incredibly comfortable, nice linens! Check in was a little disorganized, but when we finally reached the front of the line, the gentleman who checked us in was very efficient and thoughtful. The hotel advertised a microwave in room and, unfortunately, there wasn't one in our room. When I called to discuss, the front desk was pretty offhand-disappointing. Overall, I do recommend, but I think their advertising should be checked.

    4
    « Good Hotel »

We arrived at 3 pm after a long journey and were told check in was 4. I know this was true but, there was no attempt to help us. After sitting in the bar, we went back at 4 pm to be told that the rooms probably still weren't ready. They had to check and eventually we were given the go ahead. The rooms & hotel were very nice and the breakfast was good. We ate in the hotel bar and the food was good. Shame there was no empathy from the staff.

    5
    « #1 hotel in Kelowna »

Can't say anything negative about this hotel. We stayed in the king executive suite in the tower. Very clean room, bed was amazing, very roomy. Free continental breakfast is great. Free WiFi and high speed Ethernet in the rooms. Will be returning again!

    5
« Excellent Hotel with small patio overlooking garden »

Title says it all. By far the best hotel we stayed at during our trip thru the Rockies. Lowest price and nicest room. I know Kelowna is not in the Rockies but it does underline the premium that Hotels can charge in Jasper and Banff for inferior rooms. This was the only hotel on our trip that included breakfast in the room price which makes it even better value. When we return to Kelowna this is where we will stay

  • 4
    « Nice hotel »

We were pleasantly surprised with this Best Western. We had a room with a king bed which we had asked for and it was a really comfortable bed. The room was large, with a couch and a good sized flat screen tv. There's lots of parking and its central to lots of shopping and restaurants. We'd stay there again!

    5
    « BEST hotel! »

Loved the hotel! The room had it's own doorbell with a 'do not disturb' option on it (so convenient). There were even Tesla stations for electric cars, which is great. Huge room with separate living space, full kitchen, and bedroom that opened up onto the communal green space with a patio door. The hot tubs and pool were fantastic! The beds were exceptionally comfortable as well. We look forward to staying here again!

    3
    « Suite-disappointing »

Booked a suite.....have a room overlooking a parking lot in the back of the building. Couch is old and very uncomfortable, cannot use it. OTher seating in living area is a stained chair. Seems in need of updating. Only plus is the room seems clean and the kitchenette area seems fine. WAs expecting more from a Plus BW.

    4
« Perfect For One Night Stopover »

We had had a long day travelling to get here and just needed somewhere comfortable to sleep. This hotel fitted the bill perfectly. Well appointed rooms and comfortable beds. The hotel is about 4km outside of the town, but is surrounded by places to eat (or shop if that is what you like).

    5
« Best Weston, best hotel! »

A recent visit to Kelowna, Canada, brought me to stay at the Best Weston. Not the prettiest of locations but if you can over-look that and use the hotel as a base then you will not be disappointed. The complimentary breakfast is superb, hot , freshly cooked and unlimited. Cheesy omelettes, scrambled egg, sausage or crispy bacon, hash browns, toast, bagels, muffins, cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt, I could go on...and on. Loads of great restaurants within easy walking distance and if you are in need of picnic supplies there are lots of major supermarkets close at hand. There is a useful bus service too. The staff at the Best Weston are courteous and helpful. Spa, computer room pool, hot tub. I will definitely be using them again.

    4
« Nice, clean and quiet »

Breakfast was pretty good - meets the BW Plus quality that one expects. Paid a tiny bit more for a deluxe room - it's worth it, liked the extra space. Room on the ground floor has a nice patio. Location is convenient. Salt water (& a bit of chlorine) swimming pool is nice.

    5
« MY favorite stay in in Kelowna »

I love staying at his property, its centrally located for me with my work and has restaurants and shopping for after hours in a 10 min walking distance. the breakfasts are terrific and a nice atmosphere is quite welcomed. pools and hot tubs are available and relaxing after a long day.

    4
    « Friendly and Convenient »

This hotel's front staff are friendly and the kitchen staff for the continental breakfast were courteous and attentive. The room was well cleaned everyday by the friendly ladies. Clean and up to date.

    5
« The best is not just in the name »

Really friendly helpful staff. Checked in very late and was greeted warmly and given lots of helpful information. Room was clean . Super breakfast buffet. Pool was nice. Hot tub jets seemed a little off. Signage in the parking lot could be better for exiting and entering.

    5
« Great for the price »

Lovely facility, nice garden, pool, hot tubs, rooms. We bought our food and had a great BBQ dinner that we cooked on the grills-tons of help and great service. Good for families lots of running space and great shallow pool.

  • 4
« Excellent for family stay »

Nice space. Neat acommodation and excellent staffs. Close to shopping mall and business centre. Has a hall for Christians interdenominational Church Service o Sundays. Wonderful complimentary breakfast. Excellent location.

    5
    « Another B.C. review »

We have enjoyed many Best Western hotels over the years, mainly in Canada, the U.S. & Great Britain, and would say this one in Kelowna is one on the nicest, the most attractive and the most selective with breakfast items which we have seen, in any of those places. We would most certainly recommend this location to any of our friends, relatives and acquaintences.

    4
    « Friendly »

Hotel had a friendly staff. Distance from downtown area is not in walking distance. Overall not a bad place to spend a few nights if you have a car or a rental. The pool and hot tubs were clean and we used them a couple times during our stay, they close them at 10:30pm. Free breakfast was pretty busy every morning.

    4
    « Clean nothing fancy »

The hotel staff were all extremely efficient and polite. The room was large, clean and as advertised. There are no rooms with a view, the setting isn't great but there is ample parking, the attached restaurant/pub are decent and it's a good place to lay your head.

    4
    « Nice family hotel. »

Great hotel for families. Clean, good staff. Many good choices for breakfast, which is included in your hotel room costs. They arranged a guided wine tour for us. We had a nice room looking out over the Two Eagles golf club.

    5
    « A great place to stay »

My first impression of BW Plus in Kelowna was - WOW! The room was a very nice size. I loved the balcony off of our room to sit and relax. The staff were great, I am new to the area, so I had some questions about Kelowna and they were very helpful. The continental breakfast was the best I have had at a hotel. I always complain about the coffee at a hotel, but their coffee was GREAT!

    3
    « Clean and comfortable »

Was good but average. Breakfast was good and included in the room rate. Only downside was that we could not check in until 4pm which is quite late. The staff were friendly and helpful and it was a good location, very central and close to the airport.

    4
    « Liked This Place A Lot! »

We had a king suite in the tower part of this hotel and it was just right. Clean, spacious, and had a balcony. Breakfast buffet was real good and the location is very good as well. Here you are close to everything you might need - shopping, Starbucks, restaurants. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Not a thing to complain about. We stayed for 7 nights and we are very glad we picked this hotel. We'll be back next year.

    3
    « Great Stay »

This one night stay was a free offering to make up for a previous broken bed experience. The staff was very attentive. The price was right because it was free. Overall I find chain hotels in the Kelowna area to be overpriced; however, the excellent hot buffet style breakfast offered by this hotel is consistently good. The $200.00 plus a night sticker is made slightly more palatable considering a family of four can spend well over $50.00 on a hot breakfast. So try this place out. You'll like it.

    4
« A very nice place to stay »

A nice clean and tidy room meets you when you enter with loads of space to move around.Restaurant food was of a high standard and the staff were very helpful,a very enjoyable stay at a well located hotel.

« Excellent Hotel in good location with breakfast included. »

Hotel in good location. Rooms very spacious and very clean. Refrigerator in room with tea/coffee making facility, ironing board & iron, desk, bathrobes and slippers. We stayed in a room with Courtyard view and balcony. There is an indoor swimming pool and gym on site. Breakfast was included in room rate. Food excellent, with a wide variety to choose from. All Staff were very helpful. We stayed for 4 nights. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby.

    4
    « Spacious clean rooms »

Upon check in, you are welcomed by a spacious lobby and an inviting front desk. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfy. Each room, if you are in the tower, have a balcony. There is a separate area in front of the bathroom for your coffee maker, a fridge etc. The bathroom is "tight" but very clean and acceptable. The only negative factor was I was unimpressed with the "free breakfast".........It was a hot and cold offering, you could do either. I found the hot items very unappetizing, there looked to be breakfast sausages but I couldn't accept the way they were presented, it was ghastly. There are hotel staff but this is a self serve so they were there to clean up the tables. The morning I was there, I was horrified to see that there were ten year olds trying to use the waffle makers. Batter spilling everywhere and just a disrespectful conduct with no parents around. When I mentioned this to the front desk clerk upon checkout, I got a "that's too bad". There was no offer to rectify the situation as I told her both mornings we refused breakfast entirely. Plus on top of it there were kids running around like it was a school playground. I get that staff are limited to what they can say, but they can quietly say to these kids "We do not allow running" and for obvious reasons as tables were full of travellers who would also like to enjoy their breakfast. I found a distaste towards the hotel clerk who did the checkout, she dropped the ball entirely and totally missed the point I was trying to make. Listening a little closer might have been in her best interests as I am the one paying the hotel bill. My suggestion to her was that they have a hotel person operate the waffle makers and even so much as offering waffles on the buffet with other hot items. This would be a far sight better than having ten year olds go wild and really creating messes that make it unpleasant for others. Even with a reduced rate, the hotel was still pricey and I think they try to set this off by offering the free breakfast which was just like a cattle call, get them watered, fed and shipped out..........

    « Best Holiday Ever »

The free shuttle service was excellent, available at various times of the day downtown and back, as well as to and from the airport. Breakfast provided everything you could ask for and was very good. The room was great. We couldn't believe how lucky we were to have picked the Best Western Plus in Kelowna for our vacation.

    « Very nice »

We stayed here for two nights earlier this month while visiting friends in Kelowna. The room was clean and spacious and somewhat updated. The hotel is in a good location, in walking distance to some restaurants and a short drive to the lake. The pool was great for our little one after being out all day. The complementary breakfast was ok but there was a shortage of tables so we couldn't sit down in the seating area.

    « Great Location! »

This was the first time we have stayed in this location and found it to be centrally located but a distance from the lake. The hotel was clean and reception staff were pleasant and helpful. Good parking. We were in the Tower with a nice deck with a table and a couple of chairs. Our concern was going to be traffic noise but it was very quiet outside and inside the hotel. Breakfast was a hot with scrambled eggs, hash browns, danish, fruit salad, waffles. There were lots of tables and were cleaned promptly when someone left a table. Nice pool and hot tub and there seemed to be lots of people enjoying the area. Great bed and pillows with ample room.

    « Overnight Stay »

Front desk staff appeared to be overwhelmed at time of my Check-in, Clerk was very flustered and it showed in her dealings with me (rude and inconsiderate), The daily breakfast offered on this day was well below acceptable standards, the sausages on the hot tray were burnt and dried out, the omlettes were undercooked. The $50 "Hold Back" on my Credit Card was unannounced at time of Check-in, it wasn't until I checked my CC balance 2 days later to see this pending overcharge, DEVIOUS to say the least.

    « Really good !!! »

We stayed here for just a night. But all of us were impressed by the cleanliness, the decor , the room , breakfast ,amenities . My kids loved the swimming pool. I have noted in mind to stay here the next time we visit Kelowna.

    « Enjoyed Our Stay »

We stayed two nights in late August and were very pleased with this hotel. The room was large and the bed comfortable. All the little perks were there: lux linens, lots of towels, coffee and tea makings, HD-TV, Internet hook-up. The free breakfast buffet was outstanding. Our room was reasonably quiet after about eleven in the evening. Beautiful enclosed courtyard nicely landscaped and there is also a pool with two hot tubs. I can definitely recommend this hotel.

    « No Reservation Stay »

My wife and I were on a vacation driving from Eastern Ontario West to BC exploring the Rockies and South Central BC.. We arrived in Kelowna late afternoon with no reservation and not knowing the area had no idea what area to stay in. The receptionist told my wife that the walk in rate was better than CAA rate so she registered, even though it was above our budget. We were pleasantly surprised with our Room, the pool and hot tub and breakfast. The bed was very comfortable. We di have dinner at the restaurant. Nothing too exciting there for amount paid. Waiter was very helpful about area info.

Just had dinner there last week with out of town friend. Great menu and pleasant atmosphere. Attractive room. Enjoyed our meal. Definitely want to return and try some other menu items. Friendly, prompt service.

« Family weekend getaway in summer »

We loved this hotel and have found a new gem for Okanagan family getaways. We definitely would come back again. The hotel was well run and has high attention to every detail. We enjoyed our 1 bedroom queen bed suite with sofa bed and kitchenette in the courtyard on ground floor. We could just walk right across the courtyard grass to the pool or breakfast area. The room was comfortable, modern, clean and everything worked in it and nothing was old or terribly used. Our bed was very comfy but we would have liked a king size bed. The sofa bed was the best my kids have ever slept on. The living area was a good size and we liked the fact the A/C was awesome kept both the living room and bedroom cool in the hot weather. Housekeeping was excellent and did almost a full clean every day, not half rate like some other hotels. They also vacuumed and mopped the floor and washed some dishes. A lot of motels/hotels only clean the sink area, change towels, and make the bed. Our family really enjoyed the pool and liked the fact the side glass opened up so you could lie in the sun and watch the kids in the pool. The hot breakfast in the morning was good also. We also received prompt and helpful caring service from housekeeping/maintenance staff when we got locked out of our room by going out the sliding back door and leaving the deadbolt on the front door in the morning. I am a very discerning customer but could find no issues/concerns with this hotel. I really like the Best Western brand as I always seem to leave satisfied and feel I received good value for money. Our kitchenette did not have a dishwasher or stove and this is the only issue I had. I noticed a larger suite had a stove, not sure about a dishwasher though. Again, very well run with high attention to detail and excellent customer service.

« Quiet, clean and conveniently located »

Good choice for a traveller not spending more than a couple of days in Kelowna. Offers standard BW experience with additional super friendly local service. Also: pet friendly, for whom it may concern. Good breakfast buffet is a welcome bonus. Very convenient parking lot, right in front of the building.

« Great hotel and great beeakfast »

We stayed at this hotel for three nights and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms are renovated and very clean. Beds were comfortable and each room has a patio. Maid service was excellent and the enclosed courtyard area is great for kids to play and run around. Pool is great for the kids and they have two outdoor hot tubs. We were impressed at the selection for the complimentary breakfast. Every day there were eggs, muffins, fruit, hash browns, cereal, yogurt, bacon or sausage, bagels, bread, English muffins and a station to make waffles. Overall we had a great stay and would stay here again.

« My kids enjoyed it »

Very nice beds. Nice view from 6th floor in the tower section of the hotel. Very quiet. I did not hear anyone on my floor. The breakfast is good; they had bacon one day and sausages the other day I was there. Good scrambled eggs and another egg based dish, they also had boiled eggs. I would return. I just wish the pool was a little bigger. The staff were very helpful and polite. They were eager to answer questions and did their best to help us. Convenient location as there are several restaurants across the road such as Boston Pizza, Grand 88 buffet, to name a couple and also a bar and a restaurant right outside main entrance.

« Nice clean hotel to stay in Kelowna »

My family is going for winery tour in the area and booked this hotel instead of staying those B&B places. It was a 4 1/2 hour drive from Fairmont hot spring to centre of city Kelowna, Highway is great with scenic view on different lakes. This Hotel is located right on highway 97 which is the main artery road for the city and all the shops , restaurants are located along this highwway. The hotel is fairly new with all the modern facilities including electrical plug-in charging station for electric cars but many those spots are occupied by non electric cars and trucks. We stayed for 3 nites. The room we have with two queen size beds approx 300 sq.ft. High ceiling with central Air. cleanliness is fine, bedding is fine but still find the beds are too soft. The hotel has indoor swimming pool but we did not have the time to try it. the morning breakfast is included and choices are decent, make your own waffle, self serve juice bars etc. overall very decent breakfast and the service is fine as so many customers coming in the same time in the morning. I recommended this hotel and will come back.

    « Comfort, comfort, comfort »

Touring BC and for the Kelowna leg of our trip we chose the Best Western. Manager and his team were fantastic, offering great tips and recommendations. Hotel was busy but never felt crowded. Great location for touring, very comfortable rooms, just what you need on vacation, comfort and spoiled with great service. We will be back - great job.

    « Staff are great! »

Every summer we stay at the Best Western and love how great everything is. We bring our dog every time and he gets a little gift bag with treats and a ball and is very welcomed. The pet rooms we have gotten are nice clean and have slidding glass doors to access the grass easily. Breakfast is good there's lots of options and we've always enjoyed it. The pool is salt water and the windows open to the outside which is a great option. Thanks best western for the hospitality we will be back!!

« Cool despite the heat »

What a wonderful hotel. Cool inside despite the heat - it was 38C outside. The staff was terrific - friendly, helpful, smiles all round. The pool - WOW. The room - neat, tidy and super comfortable. Breakfast next day was lovely. A lot of choice and the wonderful smell of waffles in the air - even if you don't eat those. A hotel with the true meaning of friendly.

    « Excellent 3 night stay »

A lovely hotel with friendly, happy, helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Lots of free parking. Pool was good and I liked the way it opened up to allow room for sunbathing (although Kelowna was very hot!). Breakfast was good and always being topped up so never ran out. Good location too with a wide variety of eating places within walking distance. My only complaint ... a golf shop directly behind hotel that hubby insisted spending a lot of time in!!

    4
« Enjoyable and a great breakfast bonus »

Check in and out was efficient and friendly. Room was very large and clean, beds are comfortable. Breakfast included in the price had a nice place to sit outside, the food selection was good and tasty too. We would definitely stay again.

« The Best Service You Could Ask For! »

This place is a gem. The service is outstanding. I didn't want to leave. I honestly could have spent all day in the hotel. The staff are super friendly and the rooms are clean and spacious. The breakfast was delicious and and very filling which helps when you've got a long day of sightseeing ahead of you. You've gotta stay here!

« A bit far from the lake but good breakfast »

We had 2 nights booked here and enjoyed it enough to extend an extra night. The free breakfast was a nice addition, we had it each morning. The breakfast area was very busy each morning as it's Kelowna is at it's peak in the summer. The food offering was very good for an included meal. Parking is free and ample. We had a jacuzzi room with a bit of a lake view and were very happy with the room and the bed was very comfy. We would happily stay at the hotel again but it would be nice if it was slightly closer to the lake.

    5
    « It's All True! »

There is a good reason why this hotel is rated so well! The staff truly care about you and your stay and work hard to make it happen! When I checked in, it was quick, don't get me wrong, but they also asked questions and made sure that all was well. I felt like they just didn't throw me into a room - but rather they wanted to know that my stay would be trouble free, relaxing, and memorable (in a good way) which it was! It's a nice hotel, parking was close and they are pet friendly! No need to look any further, you'll be glad you stayed here!

    « A Great Place to Stay »

This is our second trip to Kelowna, and our second stay in this hotel. Our first visit was 10 years ago, the hotel left a good impression back then so we came back, and were not disappointed. Our room was both spacious and clean and we enjoyed a view from our balcony of the gardens. Only one minor gripe with the room - no safe - although they do have them at reception. The hotel staff are very courteous and helpful, and the complimentary hot buffet style breakfast is fantastic! I can totally understand why this hotel gets consistently great reviews.

« My Season in Kelowna »

almost 200 days. Thats how long my stay lasted in this Hotel. It was for work. From the General manager all the way down to the person replacing the towels pool side,I can not praise the staff enough.A few highlights. When a problem arose in my room ,The front desk immediately dealt with it. They apologized and upgraded my room. I wasnt expecting that level of reaction. Sanae at the front desk was always very helpful, whether it was helping find a restaurant,an activity or an address. The Maintenence staff were remarkable.Clint,Scott, thanks for your assistance. When I recieved bad news, I was just lost.I had to return home. Everybody checked in on me and made sure that there wasnt something they could do for me. Its the People who work in a hotel that makes or breaks it.These people will continue to make The Best Western Plus hotel and suites a success. As to the accomodations, this hotel can brag that they have the most comfortable beds. If dining out stops being fun, barbeque yourself a meal on the court yard BBQ. The swimming pool is amazing. And the Hot tubs, awesome. I cant speak for anyone else, but after staying for such a long time you get to know the staff pretty good.I will tell you something, they maintained the highest standards throughout my entire stay. So in closing ,if you find yourself in Kelowna or going to Kelowna,The Best Western Plus Kelowna Hotel and Suites really should be your first choice. And on a personal note, Thank you Sanae ,Mahleta, Alison ,Sarah, Jessica,Owen(spelled wrong) My man Patrick,Hank,The staff in the pub and restaurant Scott and Clint for all their help with the Kayak. Natasha for always making me laugh. And for the rest of the staff. I will always remember you. Bruce McKeever

    « Excellent breakfast & overall service »

Best Western Plus Kelowna hotel & suites is a great place to stay due to several reasons: proximity to amenities; excellent breakfasts; great service; and a complementing restaurant adjacent to the hotel.

    4
    « Kelowna Area »

This short visit to the Kelowna area was easy to arrange through Best Western's website and then working out details over the phone to take advantage of incentives. Great start to travel the Okanagan.

    « Helpful Staff »

Wonderful staff at front desk and breakfast. Breakfast offers lots of options unfortunately little for gluten-free or dairy free. Some of the rooms are a bit tired but amenities are all present. Check to see if there are large groups booking as there was a baseball tournament when we were there and the tweens were not supervised well so breakfast and the pool were overrun. Also note that the noise level between rooms and floors is easily audible.

    « Great hotel. »

We spent three days here. The suite was wonderful, it had everything we needed. We overlooked the courtyard and the pool was opposite so we wondered about the noise but the double glazing in the window was brilliant. We were very impressed with everything in the room, very clean. Our one complaint was that it was only a queen bed, however, we booked late and missed out on the Kings! Not the hotels problem! The hotel was pretty central, straight off the main highway. The breakfast was great, plenty of choice and the waffle maker was. Hit with the kids who stayed in the hotel!

    « Fantastic Sta »

My mom and I stayed here for 6 nights and we had a fabulous time. Check in was a breeze. We had Maleata check us in and she checked us out too. She was fantastic. She always had a smiling face and she remembered us when we walked by the front desk. The food was out of this world from the hot buffet breakfast to the restaurant food at the Cornerstone. Housekeeping staff were always saying hello and always gave us the amenities that we needed. Will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend. Keep us the fantastic work.

« Wonderful last minute stay! »

My husband and I decided last minute to go Kelowna the week of the BC Day long weekend July 29 - Aug 1 and everything was booked online! We took our chances and called the morning of July 29th and the front desk lady (wish i could remember her name) was so wonderful she told us 2 rooms were available and we got a better rate for being a BW Member! We got the standard room and it was spacious. The beds were comfortable, shower was clean (shampoo, lotion, etc.), Coffee/Tea maker, but no microwave. The pool was kid friendly, and after a long day of exploring Kelowna the 2 hot tubs was relaxing. My husband loved the breakfast so many options his fav was the waffle, so much better than those pancake maker! I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kelowna!

« Bestwestern Needs better Breakfast and Coffee »

I stay with BW quite often after the renos the chain has seen. Always friendly staff, clean rooms and ok locations (usually beside a highway...) But I'm really thinking of staying someplace else all due to the awful breakfasts and coffee. For the prices of the rooms maybe spend some on the food and coffee. I've stayed at cheaper places with better coffee and food. It's really not that hard to source good coffee. And breakfast is just rental food, after you eat it's a good thing you don't have to check out right away. BW have come a long way these past few years and they are excellent places for an overnight or two. But be sure you have a local eatery around.

« My goto Kelowna Place »

I was working in Oliver last minute and when it came time to find a hotel everything was booked solid due to the summer vacation crowds and several festivals.Online nothing either at my usual places. I called the hotel directly and they had a room in there back pocket which I was fortunate enough to get into, I've stayed here many times which probably helped me get the room. Great service from all staff in the hotel and a great location with lots of parking. The rooms and beds are comfortable and I really like the central air conditioning. Very clean place. The included breakfast is 1st rate with lots of variety. It was busy but they had extra staff on keeping things stocked. Nice courtyard area if you just want to sit outside. Great place to stay.

« Makes Travelling With Dogs Easy! »

On check-in they give a little bag for your pooch, it contains a treat, poop bags and a ball. The pet room was spacious with a patio door that backs out into an enclosed green area. This made it super easy to let out our dogs to do their business, instead of having to walk towards the parking lot to find the closest green space like we've had to do with other hotels. The room was set away from the lobby and the pool, so there was not a lot of foot traffic past the room - which can be distracting for dogs. The room was nice & quiet, surprising since it is next to one of the major roads in Kelowna. The hotel asks if the dogs will be on the bed, that you lay down an extra flat sheet ontop for them to lay on - no problem! Nice change from places that request dogs not go on the beds at all. You can also borrow dog food bowls if you've forgotten to bring them. So glad the room was clean and not a second rate room just because its used for pets. The only downside was when you order room service, you have to go yourself to the pub/restaurant to pick up the food. I would return in a heartbeat!

    3
    « Sink Hole »

The broken bed had a sink hole in it. My wife had to bail and sleep with my son in the other bed. We were told at check in that there were no other rooms in the hotel during the BC Day long weekend. We grinned and bared it. Luckily our other son didn't come along to attend or we may have never recovered my wife. The sink hole was that noticeable. Everything else was what you'd expect from a three star hotel. However I go to Best Western because they promise quality in their advertisements. We normally sleep well under this corporate banner. Unfortunately, not this time.

    5
    « Amazing experience »

The hotel staff were excellent, the rooms more than comfortable, and while the location is a bit of a distance from downtown, the free hotel shuttle made getting downtown easy! The front desk staff were very accommodating, and managed to find us two beautiful rooms eve though we had accidentally booked the wrong night. the buffet breakfast was excellent!

    4
« Out of the downtown core but lacking for nothing, an oasis »

Kelowna traffic is not good any time so when you are leaving Hwy 97 and taking Hwy 33 this is just 2 blocks from the junction and a quick getaway. The room was an apartment complete with a little kitchen and table, parking was generous, the staff was engaged. Breakfast was absolutely huge and varied, hot and cold, and included, buffet style. The inner courtyard is quiet and safe and has a pool. Security is modern. The pub/restaurant had a varied menu and cold beer, big screen TV for sports fans, and lovely staff. Downtown Kelowna is expensive and really rather dysfunctional for tourists, this oasis has everything a traveller needs.

« Best Western Plus - Kelowna, BC »

We were very impressed with our kitchenette suite, spacious, clean, quiet, comfortable, lovely deck to sit on, very private. They hotel has a beautiful pool, two hot tubs and loungers to sit on, giving you the feeling that you are at an all inclusive resort! The breakfast that is included is fantastic!!!! Lots of selection for everyone. The staff go above and beyond for you, and are so friendly. We stayed four nights and have not one complaint at all. We would definitely stay here again! There are restaurants on site, one pub and the Cornerstone Grill, both fantastic and terrific service! There is shopping within minutes of walking, and restaurants close by to walk to! Great location!

    « Wine Trip »

I found the Best Western Plus Kelowna a little ways from downtown Kelowna. But there were some very excellent restaurants within walking distance. The hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful. The complementary breakfast buffet had a good selection. The breakfast room was very busy but we could a;ways find a table.

    5
    « Great Hotel - Excellent Service »

Great welcome , excellent room - little homely extras , little disappointed in size of pool - but I like to swim long lengths. Hot Tubs great. Breakfast - plenty of choice but not always bacon which we love. . Couple of eating place walkable distance and 7 mins from downtown. Overall would definitely recommend and would be my first choice place to stay in Kelowna

« Great room, great location »

We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was spacious (we got the bigger 2 double room) and opened up on the ground floor to a courtyard. The pool was decent and had a couple outdoor hot tubs. The gym was good as well. The complimentary buffet breakfast included all the typical stuff and was great. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and plan to be back.

    « Great Hotel! »

This was the best Best Western hotel we have ever stayed at. Great room decor, clean, very comfortable beds, and buffet breakfast included. Amazing staff, especially the morning breakfast crew, they do a great job and go over and above to make sure everyone's comfortable. Rooms are very clean with white linens, beds are comfy, pillows are too soft. Grounds are beautifully landscaped and very clean.

« Ruined by noisy garbage trucks early in the morning »

The hotel has good facilities and nice sized rooms but after asking for a quite room we found the garbage truck reverses at 5 a.m. In the morning and clangs the chains to lift the garbage noisily and returns at 6 a.m to awake you again and noisily returns the bins. Why o why do the Management not sort this out for the benefit of their customers sleep.

    4
« Good for overnight stay »

We checked into the hotel late in the evening, and the receptionist was very friendly and the hotel rooms were very clean. Would recommend this place for an overnight stay and you get free breakfast in the morning which is lovely, but for more than a night or two here, it would get boring as there isn't much to do.

    « No carpets...who would've thought. »

Our room was very spacious with high ceilings and no carpet, modern and clean. Great courtyard area to mingle, beautiful dining area to enjoy your delicious breakfast. Service was excellent. Central location with lots of amenities in walking distance.

« Disappointed for the first time... »

A previous visit to this hotel was totally enchanting... it resulted in our recommending it to family and friends. A second one, not so! While we realize hotels cannot predict misconduct among reserved guests, it should be safe to assume that bookings by people wanting to squeeze 3, 4 and 5 children into ONE room will be highly noisy and disruptive for other guests. They should not impose chaos on guests seeking only serenity, peace and quiet.

    5
    « Don't stay anywhere else »

« Excellent stay in wine country »

Fantastic place to stay in Kelowna. . Rooms are a decent size we had 3 adults in our room and we were very comfortable. Spacious balconies with outdoor seating were great for taking in the views and enjoying wine from the local wineries. . Included breakfast buffet was amazing and selections had a slight variation each day. It's a short drive to get to the waterfront but all worth it with the service & quality of the accommodation here. I'm heading back for another stay this August and have to say I'm extremely pleased we were able to get a room here. Exceptional service & quality will make this hotel my first choice while in Kelowna!

    5
« Good hotel for family or electric car owners »

Service was excellent and breakfast is provided. The hotel looks like an older-style motel with a new tower built in the middle of it. We stayed in a larger 2-queen suite in the motel-style section and the rooms are maintained to Best Western standards. The room was clean and in good condition, beds were very comfortable and linen felt like a higher quality (thread count) than other Best Western's. If you have an electric car, you'll want to stay here - there are 5 or 6 Tesla and 2 Nissan Leaf ones here. The only downside which any hotel can't help is smokers - our room was beside an entrance and smokers loved to hover around it. Overall, a good hotel to stay at.

« One of the best hotels in the valley »

This is a excellent hotel and first class from the time you check in to when you check out. Room and breakfast could not be better. « Always a wonderful stay. »

We have been coming to Kelowna for the past 20 years and have stayed at the Best Western and watch its transformation over the years to a wonderful place to stay. Centrally located and close to everything. Very comfortable and nice large rooms. A major plus in the hotel industry, Very comfortable beds and facilities. Always upgraded.

    « More Than Expected! »

This is a very, very clean and well managed Best Western. The staff was on the ball and made sure you were not left unattended. The carpets were so clean throughout that we think the hotel must have just been remodeled, but not sure. The pool and pool area were clean and a good place to relax. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise as well and offered nice choices, Although not an issue for us, there is no elevator, so if getting your suitcase up one flight of stairs is difficult, request the first floor. All in all, this is an excellent choice and compares to some of the more expensive chain hotels on the same street.

The room was bright and cheery and welcoming, with no odd odours or noise at night. The two dressing areas were a welcome surprise. Lots of table space for computers and sufficient outlets and plugs. Fair-trade Tea was available in the room,an electrical kettle for hot water, did not have to use the coffee machine for tea. Never felt hemmed in.Altogether a very nice experience, looking forward to returning. All this for a reasonable cost, thank-you

This was one of the cleanest hotels we've ever stayed at. The room was bright, good lighting and spotless. All the staff was friendly and helpful. They actually seemed happy to be working there, even the cleaning staff. Breakfast was mediocre.

    « More than what I expected »

I read a review once and saw pictures of Best Western hotel. I didn't like what I saw and read so I usually stay cleared of BW. But that changed this year. Not all of them are as bad as I thought. This is my 2nd time I stayed with them and it's perfect. Everything is clean. The washroom is lovely, from the tiles, the heated towel rack to the soaps. The pillows and blankets are perfect! It's just right and soft to the skin. I had to check what brand it is. The best part is their complimentary breakfast. Prior to this one we came from BW from Canmore and loved that there's good breakfast included. On our way back to Vancouver we thought about staying in Kelowna. First thing I looked was BW! It will always be our first choice now. Keep it up!

« Excellent hotel, excellent service »

I stayed here for two nights and was very happy with the size of the room, the cleanliness and the amenities. This hotel is a great setting and is in a great area of Kelowna. Good wifi, good breakfast, nice pool and hot tub, air conditioning, and great staff.

    « Great Place »

On here for one night on our way to Vancouver. Really impressed with the lobby and staff service. The hotel looks modernized and newly renovated maybe. Pool is nice, though only has one depth (1m) but functions well and is able to be airs out by opening the large door. Hotel is definitely eco friendly, having electric car chargers, Tesla Superchargers. Rooms are decently sized, but may be a little smaller compared to places like Marriott. Breakfast is well stocked and with lots of variety. Would definitely recommend this hotel, especially if you own an electric car.

« Best property on our trip »

Clean, bright and well thought out. We really liked this place. Our room looked like it had been remodeled that day. Not a thing needed a repair. We were very impressed. The staff was friendly/helpful and the complimentary breakfast was awesome. The charging station with two outlets and two USB's on the night tables was a nice touch. We stayed at 4 Best Westerns on this trip and this one was the best.

« It is rated a PLUS for good reason »

Although more expensive than a regular B W it is well wort the extra cost just for the appearance and brightness of the surroundings and the superb attitude and service of the staff. The lobby is attractive and clean. The room was bright and clean with robes and slippers for our use. Bedding was clean and the mattress most comfortable. The one thing they could have improved on would be the coffee service in the room. A more expensive machine and standard of coffee was disappointing in this PLUS setting.

    « Overnight Stay »

This was a convenient hotel for us while travelling, easily accessible and in a quiet location. The facilities were to a good standard and the staff professional. I think one would need a car to maximise value due to location off the highway and out of the central city.

« There is a lot to like about this hotel »

I wanted to like this hotel, and it isn't hard to find nice tings to say about it. It has a central location and is easy to access. The adjacent restaurant and pub were excellent. The bed was comfortable and the room spacious. However it had three serious flaws. Because we spent very little time at the hotel I didn't pursue another room, but I would have if I had spent more time there. First, the room had a distinctly unpleasant odor. It gave me a headache and made my sinuses run. I notified the management, so I hope they do something about it in the future. Second, don't go for room 131. Open the curtains and you see a blank wall. You can go outside and walk around it to be in the garden, but while in the room? Concrete. It's about the most unattractive view I've ever seen from a hotel room. Finally the fan on the HVAC was very loud so we had to turn it off at night. It came on again each morning about 6:15 so I had to get up, turn on the light and figure out how to shut it off again. The next night we stayed in a hotel where the HVAC was barely audible, so I know it is possible to have a quiet room.

    « excellent hotel »

During past 15 years, averaging 4 stays/year, from 2 star to 4 star, the best is the Best West Plus Kelowna. The restaurant keeps changing hands and the in lobby breakfast is iffy, but the cleanliness, comfortable beds and service cannot be beat,

« Perfect Hotel for Groups »

This hotel is designed around a grass courtyard with the first floor units having a walk out patio. This made it easy for our party of 12 rooms to meet which greatly enhanced our vacation experience. I definitely would stay there again and would recommend this hotel for sport teams and family reunions.

« feels like home with servents »

The staff at this hotel made it feel like i was at home, and had servants working for me, It was so nice to be spoiled. The restaurant had closed at 9 PM I had been working late out of town and got in at 9:25 PM, They said i could order room service. Well I had a Salmon fillet cooked on a chard cedar plank. It was out of this world. I felt like it had been cooked by a very good Restaurant in Vancouver. They scored a 10 out of 10 from me.

« Great Best Western kelowna Hotel experience »

Great hotel, nice and clean. Fair rate. Parking lot is wide. Receptionist is enthusiastic and nice. Super market and restaurant are nearby, great location. If anyone come and visit Kelowna, I would recommend Best Western Plus Kelowna Hotel to them.

    « Unreliiable »

This hotel failed to execute wake up call and didn't call my cab at the right time. Otherwise a decent bed and friendly restaurant staff. The location is ok. Hotel was being upgraded. Room was clean Decent bed. That's it. That's all I have to say

Great hotel for families. Amenities are super and staff are friendly and very hard working. The breakfast is top notch and the kitchenette has everything you need. Close to everything you need. If you wish to be separate from the family areas book a room in the tower. Our kitchenette suite was very suitable for a family of four. Staff at front desk were terrific.

« Nothing to complain about, and I usually can! »

Travelling solo with a dog is not only a delight, but at times, a challenge. No challenge here. Just delight. We stayed one night. The room was spacious, clean and nicely laid out. Our room was on the ground floor near the back door, so we didn't have to go through the lobby to find a fire hydrant! (For my dog, not me!) Seemed to be a safe area for night time walks. Obviously a busy front desk, but no big waits. Gracious welcome and helpful comments about dog parks, etc. Lots of choices for breakfast in a nice room. Had great takeout from the Thai restaurant across the parking lot. Thanks for making my stay easy for me and my dog. Overall, great stay and would definitely come back!

    « Pet-friendly, quiet, comfortable »

My small dog and I stayed for two nights, and it was fabulous. The pet rooms are on the ground floor facing a large courtyard -- two steps out of your patio door and your dog can do his business. Each little patio has a couple of chairs so you can also relax while your pooch plays on the grass. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and exceptionally quiet -- each room also has a little fridge, which is handy. If your dog sleeps on the bed with you, the hotel will give you an extra sheet so you can put it over the white duvet -- ask at the front desk when you're checking in. The breakfast buffet that is included in the price of the room is large and varied, and of excellent quality. Would definitely stay here again.

« One night in Kelowna was good »

We arrived at the Best Western in Kelowna on May 30. The hotel entrance was a little bit of a search. Checkin was good and the room was also more than comfortable. Room was big and was on the 7th floor. To be exact room 722 and was overlooking the road and a store area. The only thing that we mist in the room was a safe. In the neighborhood you had some restaurants like the cactus, montana's etc. and also wallmart. It's a view minutes drive to the wineries. We visited the mission hill winery on our way to the best western and that was well worth. The hotel has a small gym, that has some treadmilles and some other equipment. We could do with it. The breakfast was okay. They had off course coffee, thee, bagels, brown bread and waffels, egg etc. Overal experience of this hotel was good.

    « Highly Recommend »

We had a wonderful stay at the Best Western Kelowna. The hotel was clean, and we had a wonderful view from our room. The breakfast was amazing, and there were a number of options provided to suit everyone in our group. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub at the end of our day of wine tours. We highly recommend this hotel for your next stay in Kelowna.

« One night stay on the way to the Rockies »

A convenient, clean and comfortable hotel, with complimentary continental breakfast. Very suitable for families and /or groups. Don't get a room near the ice machine - it gets used all night! Did not use a suite - so can't comment.

« Close to the vineyards Kelowna »

Stayed at the Best Western plus for 2 nights in a suite with full kitchen over looking the garden with our own terrace which was a delight. Was slightly worried on arrival with its close proximity to the highway but was really surprised as all rooms face in, in a horseshoe so very little noise. Rooms lovely and comfortable and staff were really helpful in their knowledge of the vineyards.

    « Great stay! »

We stayed one night, and had a great time! Very nice up to date decor, well maintained, and very clean. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Comfortable beds, and pillows. We stayed in a standred 2 queen bed room with 2 adults and 2 children and there was more then enough space for all of our gear and for the kidos to move around,

« Always a Reliable Place to rest your head »

Kelowna is the regional health centre for southern BC so not all trips are for business or pleasure. Some are for health. Those are stressful times and it is nice that one of the stresses does not have to be the type of accommodation you use while away from home. The Best Western in Kelowna has a decent restaurant and pub on site, serves a hot buffet breakfast until 10 am and has a wonderful flower garden that you can enjoy from the courtyard. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. We regularly use the Best Western in Kelowna because we can count on consistent good service.

    « Friendliest Staff »

Friendliest Staff ever!!! Not one or two but every single staff member at this hotel was friendly, happy and helpful. Breakfast staff, cleaning staff and check in and out staff were all amazingly pleasing to deal with. This makes a trip so much nicer and am still in shock over just how nice they all were. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who cares about being treated as more than a customer.

« Very good for an overnight stay when travelling... excellent comp brekky! »

Stayed at this hotel while travelling through the Okanagan. Just one night and it was over a long weekend so the hotel was pretty full but we enjoyed it just the same. The pool and spa looked lovely although we didn't try them... they were chock full all the time! There's a wellness spa here too which looked nice but it wasn't open over the weekend of our visit. Staff were very friendly and helpful, checkin was fast and easy, and our room was very clean and well appointed as well as spacious. The floor to ceiling windows/doors on one end mean the room was lovely and light. The comp breakfast here is worthwhile too with fresh fruits, toasts, bagels, pastries, sausages, eggs, omelettes, oatmeal, waffles, juices etc., a very decent spread for a free breakfast. We both slept well in a comfortable bed until the fire alarm woke us around 6am, but hey, at least we know it works. (It was a false alarm with some dope burning toast or something in their room.) Overall, I'd definitely stay here again, and would recommend this hotel to anyone passing through the delightful town of Kelowna.

« Long Weekend in Kelowna »

This hotel had everything we needed. Comfy rooms, great breakfast and close to a variety of places to go. We used the pool as well as the hot tub. Breakfast has an assortment of everything and they tried their best to keep it full at all times even though large groups were staying at the hotel.I would definitely stay again.

    « Best Western Stay - Kelowna »

The BW was clean and more than basic. We were only on the second floor, but we had a view of the courtyard which is beautifully manicured. The breakfast is awesome, with a good selection of eggs/bacon/sausage/breads,etc. The room provided a hair dryer, magnified mirror (yay), robes and even had slippers. Our delayed 4:00 check in was compensated, which was appreciated. I would stay again. Assistance with wine tours and taxi's etc., were all good.

    5
« Comfortable in every way »

This is a very nice Best Western. We arrived on a busy weekend when the hotel was fully booked. Nonetheless we had no trouble finding free parking in the lot, checking in with the friendly, efficient front desk, or locating the many amenities, which include a pool and jacuzzi, a spa,and a fitness room on the first floor. There is free breakfast in a largish area near the front desk and a grill restaurant across from the front door. The room key card allows access to guest floors, which are quiet and clean. Our room included two comfortable queen size beds, robes, a mini refrigerator, an excellent TV, good desk space, a balcony, and a view of the internal green garden space within the hot property. There are ice machines on the floors too. It was a very pleasant one night stay.

    « Successful Tournament Weekend! »

We stayed at The Best Western Plus in April for a ball tournament after having stayed at the Holiday Inn Express across the street last Summer. During that stay, we often found ourselves in the Best Western Pub in the evenings, so we knew that the Best Western was where we would like to stay as a team next time we had a tournament in Kelowna. We found out that many other teams/groups had the same idea. The hotel was smokin' busy. If you're offended by boys playing hockey in the hallways some noise due to a bunch of people being in the same place at the same time, this hotel might not be for you. However, if you can handle a little mayhem, and you like a decent quality breakfast, clean, comfortable rooms and excellent service at a decent price, then I think you'll like the Best Western Plus.

    « Excellent all round »

We had a great stay here! The facility is up to date, well cared for and a pleasure to stay in. The Business Center was very much appreciated as was the staff's help in doing some urgent business. A great map of Kelowna was available as was all the help getting around Kelowna we needed. The breakfast bar was very good with a great variety of food. The Cornerstone Grill across the entranceway was very welcoming, had good food and we enjoyed our meal very much. A good job considering it had just opened.

We stayed @ this hotel over the Mother's Day weekend. It was very clean, nicely furnished and updated. We had a ground level room with a patio in the courtyard wich was very nice since we had family come to visit us. I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

    « Average »

Room: The shower is in the bath and a shower curtain is used. Two things which I personally don't like. Our family members room was not cleaned properly when they arrived. Our room was also not cleaned properly on the second day of our stay. Breakfast: is free / average selection. There is free WiFi and there are 2 restaurants opposite the hotel which is convenient. There wasn't any noise at night, so we could sleep well. There is also a nice basic gym on the premises.

    « keep off 2nd floor »

Our group had a choice of two hotels and most chose this Best Western. They have a great breakfast included and the hotel is clean, conveniently located and has ample parking available, which was key as our group was on a car tour. The only negative was being placed on the second floor. The only way to access your room is either by a handicapped elevator which is so small that the luggage trolley filled it and which is unbelievably slow. In fact, an employee had to go upstairs and bring the elevator down to the lobby as it was stuck when we arrived. You can also, I discovered, take the main elevators to the convention floor and then take 14 steps back down to get to the 2nd floor. Leaving the second floor involves either climbing those 14 stairs and taking the elevator from the convention floor, or walking down 21 steps or, the handicapped elevator experience. Not good for elderly with mobility issues. Staff should ask guests before placing them on that floor.

« they asked me what I wanted! »

I was very impressed withhow quiet the rooms are - and the street noise was barely perceptible from our room! The garden area is lovely with tables outside and we took advantage each morning of this great spot to have the second cup of coffee and peruse the paper. they have a wonderful hot breakfast and great staff that keep up with the people coming through the lineup, of course the waffle maker is a big hit! \\One of the very friendly staff came over to check on us and asked what else we would like to see on their already extensive buffet. \\My suggestion is to have diabetic friendly items, like whole wheat english muffins and plain yogurt with a side of nuts and raisins to mix in. How nicce to even be asked! I have enjoyed this hotel a few years ago and with the room reno's it;s even better!

    « Clean, Updated, Central »

This may be the best Best Western I've stayed at. It's updated and very clean. It's kind of all I really need out of a BW. But the located was awesome - right in the middle of Kelowna. Location: Central Kelowna Close to: Shopping mall, Movie theaters, Restaurants, Entertainment. Rooms: Very nice, clean, and modern. The beds were very comfortable. Comes with almost everything you might need. My room didn't have a safe though but it wasn't a big deal. Pluses: Free Wifi Free Buffet Breakfast Free Parking Hot Tub/Pool Fitness Center - was pretty decent. Cardio machines, cable machines, and free weights to 50lbs. Value: It's near the cheapest in town. It really has all you need so I wouldn't pay more money for something else. Would stay here again.

    « Okanagan Gold »

For a 'smaller' sized city, Kelowna has 'big' city traffic on its main highway through town. Relief from the pressures of the traffic was provided by the Best Western Hotel which is just off that busy highway. We did not hear any traffic noise, instead it was the pleasant noise of children enjoying the pool and it water slide. As elderly people, we enjoyed the enthusiasm of children. We recommend this place for those who enjoy ' life '.

« great hotel, good location »

the staff were great, it was our 50th anniversary when we checked in (had reserved in advance) and the staff had chocolates and card for us. We did not like the first room offered and had to wait a few hours to get in next room (not a problem we only live a mile away and were staying because of floor being replaced at home) when we got to room later there was a beautiful tray with chocolate covered strawberries. The toaster did not work properly and someone brought us another one right away. the only problem was the toilets are TOO LOW, The breakfast is great with lots of variety. We stay at Best Western often when we travel and this is the nicest one we have stayed in.

« Great Value for Money »

We stayed here with two kids for 3 nights. For the price of this hotel I really cant complain. The rooms were very large and very clean. I see that best Best Western has really upped their game with these Plus hotels. I will be back when I visit Kelowna again. The free breakfast is average but more than adequate. The kids loved the waffle machine. This hotel is great if you are travelling with kids, they also have pool.

    « OK stay -- clean, comfortable »

We came for two nights. Wanted to stay closer to town but nothing was available, Settled for this hotel because it boasted of a full hot breakfast -- which it did have. The first morning it was PACKED couldn't find a seat, hot line was out of both kinds of eggs for a good 10 minutes.....but with some patience we ate a full, hot breakfast. Second morning (Sun) we went down at 7:30 still crowded, still out of 1 kind of eggs -- they brought some out within about 5 minutes, but I heard someone report the bacon had run out. Staff was all friendly and working hard. Could hear neighbors showers loud and clear both mornings. For the $$ we spent we will either stay downtown or find something less expensive in this part of town next time.

    « One Night Stay »

Stayed during the Canada Day long weekend heading back from Banff. This was one of the only places available, and was reasonably priced. Breakfast was included, big basic room, and easy to get to. For families or travellers on a budget this is a good hotel chain to use. BCAA members get better rates and I think they have a points program too. This was my first stay with hotel brand.

« Great Stay At this Best Western »

This was my first time at this BW and it did not disappoint. It was right across the street from where I had to work. Very convenient. There is a Starbucks in the Safeway as well so morning coffee done. The breakfast here was very good. Fresh and hot and for hotel coffee, very good. My room was spacious, up to date and clean. The best part it was very quiet. I stayed in the tower on the 3rd floor. I did not get to use the pool or hot tub, but I will next time for sure.

    « Pleasantly surprised »

We stayed at the Best Western for 3 nights in a two double bed deluxe room. Beds were super comfortable and the room and all the amenities you would need for a short stay. Bar fridge, jug, coffee maker, and large bathroom and storage room. The room was very spacious and clean. Free wifi is also available in this hotel. Staff and room service were very friendly and efficient. Free buffet breakfast is included and there is a wide variety for all tastes. Great coffee too! The outdoor spa was nice to sit in at the end of busy day and unwind. There are also vending machines located around the hotel that supply bits and pieces (drinks, panadol etc) that you may need.

Everything at this hotel is at or near first class. Our only disappointments were old uncomfortable in-room chairs and the lack of chopped fruit at the breakfast. The high quality staff, comfortable bed, and quiet room make the rating of our stay: excellent.

« What a great place to stay while in Kelowna »

This squeaky clean hotel is close to great eateries and shopping. The rooms are absolutely lovely with really well thought out floor plans....very nice surprise when you open the door and step into your room. The linens are gorgeous, crisp and beds super comfy. The nice surprise was a delicious breakfast free of charge.....you don't see something like that very often in this day and age of over pricing and gouging. A really super place to rest your head at the end of the day while visiting Kelowna.

« Great hotel with some quirks »

Stayed here twice recently due to very early, and very late flight, when going on vacation. Our choice of this hotel was partially due to their park and fly package, which allowed us to leave our car for several days. This is a large, well kept and clean hotel. The lobby is large, as are the two different rooms we stayed in. The tower room we ware given on our first stay was exceptional. Large, comfortable, with all the amenities you would expect. Our return visit was however slightly less than optimal, being given a room in the "conference" section, with 2nd floor access only be stair or very old freight elevator. Both rooms were however more than expected. One other quirk was that the hot tubs were outside, although the rather small pool was under cover. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, although there was a problem with scheduling a shuttle pick up at the airport on our return which was eventually resolved. One final note, the breakfast was very good, with a more than sufficient selection of hot and cold items. If not for the "quirks" we would have rated the hotel as excellent, but will definitely stay there again.

« Bow WOW! Great dog friendly hotel »

We were very impressed with both the room and staff at this hotel. Upon checking in we were given a treat bag for our dog with a tennis ball and nummy treats. The housekeeper stopped to say hello to our dog as we were opening the room door. The room had the perfect finishes for cleaning after pets and didn't have that overly air freshened smell so many pet hotels have. Our room opened onto a patio and courtyard so Sam could play on the grass. The hot breakfast was good, overall a great value and welcoming place.

    « Loved our stay »

Traveled to Kelowna for Easter weekend. Upon arrival we discovered that the hotel was full of kids at a sports tournament in town. Hesitant, we checked in. What a surprise to find that the hotel did not feel full at all. Even at breakfast, the food was promptly refilled, there were lots of chairs and space. Other than one evening when the teams had a group barbeque in the breakfast area, we never heard or experienced any rush, noise or confusion. Highly recommend this hotel and staff!

    « So Relaxing! »

My boyfriend and I had taken a trip out to Abbotsford for a cousins wedding this past fall and on our way back decided to swing by Kelowna for a few days and spend some quality, relaxing time together. We were new to the Kelowna area and were unsure of where to stay but after some digging online, decided that the Best Western Plus was a good fit for us price-wise, location-wise, and for the type of room we were looking for. I have to say that we were definitely not disappointed! The room was absolutely stunning! We had a king bed, small kitchenette and balcony (granted the balcony overlooked a parking lot but it wasn't an issue for us). Because we were staying for several days, the kitchenette was extremely beneficial for us and we got great use out of it. It even included some dishes, utensils, glassware, etc! The bathroom was beautiful and the vanity was perfect for me to do my makeup and hair every morning. We used the hot tub every night we were there and enjoyed every second of it. Most nights we ended up having one of the two hot tubs completely to ourselves which was extremely nice. The hot, complimentary breakfast was to die for! We skipped the first morning we were there because we were not aware of how big of a spread there was. However the next morning we were very hungry and decided to try it and we did not hesitate to go back every remaining morning on our stay. The hotel was very quiet, clean, and extremely comfortable and relaxing. Would definitely stay here again if we should find ourselves back in Kelowna!!

« Fantastic stay with kids »

great accommodations, loved the pool. Had fantastic service and the breakfast was good too. We had a bit of a problem with the noise level above us and in the hallway when the kids were going to sleep, but we made it work. Our room was on the first level of the courtyard and it was a perfect place to let the kids run around and let off some steam. We also highly recommend the visit to the kangaroo farm in winfield and the H2O centre.

    « Loved it! »

We were 3 couples participating in a sporting event. We chose a suite so we could host the other 2 couples for meals and socializing. Perfect set-up: living area with round table and plenty of seating next to small but efficient kitchen and washroom. The bedroom had sliding doors opening to a balcony overlooking a courtyard that included two outdoor whirlpools (which we used liberally to soothe our aching muscles). It was quiet and comfortable. Our recently renovated and modestly-priced accommodation included full breakfast and use of pool and other amenities. Bathrobes and slippers provided. Just right for our needs.

    « Awesome pet place »

I have to say that this is the best pet friendly hotel I have ever stayed at. It is well thought out. The pet rooms are on ground floor with patio doors which lead off to a grassy area. Just the best layout ever. No carpet to get smelly. Beds are comfortable. Everything is clean. Good size. Just wish I could take it with me for the rest of my trip!

    « CAUTION - BREAKFAST CUTLERY DOESN'T MATCH »

Which is about the worst thing I can say about this place. This is a wonderful hotel with kind courteous staff, clean rooms and a nice layout. It is a quadrangle design with a nice, large grassy courtyard with bbq in the middle of the 4 sides. This is an old building with recent upgrades. Its evident to me that there is some pride in the ownership of this place. The pool and dining area looks like a very recent multi-million$ upgrade. The pool is large with two outdoor hot tubs. Best part of this hotel is the price includes a really nice, full breakfast with DIY waffles. That alone saves our family $30-40 a day. Tips: you can park all around the building and enter with your key card. So you can park right near your room. If you get ONE new key, it seems to disable the rest of the keys. Also, there is a family of ground hogs that live under the white metal storage bin at the corner of the property.

    « Family emergency 6 night stay. »

Good basic accommodations, clean pleasant room, friendly staff, ample parking, close to entrances, descent coffee and coffeemaker in room, wifi sufficient. Breakfast included, nice touch, although it's always the same, some variety on the hot buffet items would be really nice.

« Quick trip, Best Western didn't disappoint! »

I arrived late and was greeted by two staff members behind the front desk. I was quickly checked in. My room was spacious, stylish and very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable! I had a great sleep, and I'm a light and picky sleeper. The free breakfast was excellent with lots of room to sit. Best hotel coffee I've ever had!

    « Great Stay »

Was only here for one night. First time here. The front desk staff were friendly and polite. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The location is easy to get to. I was in a 2 queen bed room, the room was huge, all furniture was modern, tv was flat screen, wifi was good, plus they do have a wired internet connection which I prefer. The hotel from the outside has a weird look, you would never know it was a decent hotel from looking at it. They do have electric car plug in stations - so kudos on this point, yet the problem is the day I was there, most of the stalls that had the plugins were filled by trucks. It would be nice to make these stalls reserved only for electric cars. Otherwise the hotel is worth the money, would recommend the hotel to others.

« Their name says it all: Best Western Plus! »

My latest family gathering in Kelowna was last week and I am sure glad I stayed at this property. I find it hard to complain about anything. The staff were great, the check-in was quick and efficient and the room given was in a quiet area, the complementary breakfast was more than statifying to my morning needs. One of the best experiences of my two day stay was the swimming pool, the hot tub and having a relaxing massage at the Wellness Spa. My room had a very comfortable bed, but it's not the most comfortable bed. That can only be said for the beds at the Calgary delta airport hotel. But their beds are in the top three in my books. We ate and drank at the attached pub, socialized in our rooms, used the free wifi, TV, fridge and free local phone calls. If I can find just one complaint it would the repeated banging noise - not sure from where - that woke me up Friday morning much too early. Otherwise, my stay there with relatives, and made some new friends, was very relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you for the beautiful memories!

« Great hotel for everyone + those in hospital »

I had to go to the hospital for surgery and of all the things that I had to worry about for that trip my hotel needs were not one of them. Everything went super smoothly. plus, if you're lucky, there's a front desk employee with an Australian accent and it's pretty snazzy.

« welcome when it mattered most »

Many thanks to each member of the staff at the Kelowna Best Western Hotel and Suites for accommodating with extra care and consideration our party needing 3 rooms for 3 nights, for after-surgery support for a newcomer to the country just learning English. We appreciated the helpful attention, friendliness, cleanliness, safety and comfort of the hotel, and the great view.

« Excellent hotel, great value of money. »

Stayed there for couple of nights in Feb 2016, while family vacation in the city. We found excellent locations, services, the building is just beside the main highway 97, but the whole building is sound proof, the guest rooms furniture, bed, mattresses were excellent. We really enjoyed our stay in there.

« Great bang for our buck »

We had a great stay at this hotel. Our room was really comfortable. We stayed here for three nights while we skied at Big White. Got a ski and stay package which was a really good deal! We enjoyed the outdoor hot tubs apres ski, and also enjoyed the hot breakfast that was included. I would highly recommend staying here on your next trip to the area. Everything was great!

Nice clean modern hotel, pleasant helpful staff, and gorgeous pool and hot tub ammenities. Bed was comfortable, and room was spacious. Full hot breakfast was excellent and the breakfast area was beautiful. The value of the breakfast provided was the decision factor in our staying at this hotel.

« Friendly staff and nice rooms »

We rented two rooms for my family of four. The rooms had a recent modern upgrade tastefully done. Beds were very comfortable, wifi was very good. All the staff went out of their way to say hello. Breakfast was ok, bacon, sometimes sausage, pastries, scrabbled eggs, etc. A couple times they ran out of coffee and once the eggs were cold but I would stay here again.

« Best BW property yet! »

We stayed here instead of with family and we were instantly impressed. Friendly service at the counter; clean, contemporary lobby. Nice, large comfortable room with our own balcony and they are definitely making an effort to recycle and cut wasted energy. They also have one of the biggest breakfast rooms I've ever experienced. Great food, of course. Bonus points for having TESLA charging stations. I can see why the Best Western Plus Kelowna Hotel and Suites has won so many awards!

    « Kelowna February 2015 »

While the hotel might look at bit tired on the outside, don't let that stop you from staying here. The interior renos are really nice, and the room was clean, quiet, comfortable and secure. The free breakfast had a large variety including hot items and waffles. The hot tubs are outside and really small so we didn't use them. Great value and very friendly.

    5
« excellent staff and great comfort »

Nothing to complain about. The staff helped me get the perfect room for my needs and fulfilled any small requests I had. The rooms are clean and comfortable with all the amenities needed. The free bre.akfast was also a nice bonus and was definitely adequate.

    « Affordable and Friendly »

Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. The hotels staff are friendly, and the hotel is an easy drive from all areas of interest in the area. Breakfast was great, with good choices. Internet worked great, and the television worked good. I used the exercise room, and it was adequate for a good cardio workout.

    « Great team hotel »

Our team of Ringette players was attending the Sweetheart tournament in Kelowna and stayed at the Best Western. Right from the start the staff was friendly and accommodating. They gave us a call shortly after arrival to ensure everything was okay. The breakfast was included in the price and had a lot of options. We were allowed to use the breakfast area for team lunches and suppers which was greatly appreciated. The hotel also allowed us a late checkout which fit our schedule and made our last day their much more enjoyable. I received many compliments for picking this hotel from the team. Great place, highly recommended.

    « Consistent »

I have stayed here a few times and have consistently received great service. Close to shopping and the airport is a bonus and they have now taken over ownership of the adjacent restaurant and expect great changes over the next while. Fitness and pool are great with outdoor hot tubs are a bonus.

« nice and clean hotel »

Hotel is clean and in a great location, first i was a little annoyed with the staff, as the receptionist took a phone call right in the middle of my check in and interrupted my check in, but the staff step it up as I had some trouble with my room and within seconds we had a new room. Very good. The lobby turned in to a YMCA hall on Saturday night, and the Lobby was littered with pizza boxes and other food items, also the breakfast buffet was a little chaotic in the morning, but the food was decent and gluten and dairy free options are available upon request. The Spa located at the Hotel was closed Sunday which was a big disappointment.

    4
« clean, reasonably quiet, breakfast included »

A good travel hotel with decent amenities well situated for people heading northeast toward Lake Country, Vernon, the airport or Predator Ridge/Crystal Lodge. Decent breakfast included in price. Rooms are well appointed, staff is efficient and friendly

Full hot breakfast buffet included which has many options to keep the whole family happy.

This place is locally owned and operated. It is clean and the people working there are very nice. They gave me a breakfast bag in the morning and made sure my experience was good. I will be staying here again next time in town. It is close to some really great restaurants. Prices are also great.

    « Perfect for transit »

We stayed here before flying out the next morning and it was perfect for our family of four. The free shuttle service to the airport was very helpful, but just know that you need to book in advance!

« The Best in Town »

I have reviewed this hotel before but it continues to be a great place to stay, top rate customer service, extremely clean and comfortable rooms, indoor pools, good quality free wi-fi and free breakfast. I always enjoy my stay at this hotel it is totally predictable in a very good way. They are currently doing some renos in the tower but it had no effect ob my stay what so every. Be careful of the lounge food but that's another review.

    « For 2 nights »

Recently stayed at Best Western for 2 nights while visiting my brother at UBC. Not much to write about. Check in was quick. Room service the first night was great they took my order and delivered very fast-happy. The bed was not the most comfortable - maybe it was jet lag! Was surprised at the "self clean-up" during breakfast that was a first for me.

    « Cornerstone Grill »

Thompson Okanagan Wine and Dine 2016 experience. Had occasion to dine at the Cornerstone Stone Grill as part of this annual event. Reserved a table for eight sophisticated senior adults. The table that was assigned was cover with brown paper and had coloring crayons on it. This should have been the first clue. Nevertheless, we joked about it. The food presentation was very nice and most entrees were liked. On two servings the potatoes were cold even after re-ordering. The deserts came with huge soup spoons, we kind of chuckled about it, and later found out that the dishwasher person got up set and threw out all the small spoons and forks. Kinda funny. The overall experience wasn't worth the money (slow Service), although we did leave an appropriate tip because the girl from the bar next door that came to help had great personality.

    5
    « nice location »

it is in the centre of town so everything is almost in a close 5 minute walking distance. the breakfast was the best I've had at a hotel. it seems like its an actual restaurant. there is rooms that are expensive and really nice but others are cheap and affordable and still pretty nice

    5
    « Very nice hotel »

We were very pleasantly surprised. Best Western isn't a chain that we usually consider (Hampton Inns are our preferred hotel). We stayed for two nights on each end of a ski vacation. After we left the first day, I told the front desk how much I enjoyed our room. When we returned, they had arranged for us to be in same room in the tower!

    « Clean »

This hotel has changed in the last 8 years lots of upgrades, enjoyed the clean and spacious room, my daughter and husband enjoyed the pool and the hot tub which was located outside, it was snowing, it was a new adventure for my daughter, the breakfast was great with a lot of fresh fruit

    « Clean and spacious »

The hotel is located near plenty of restaurants and shopping. Parking is free and no issues finding a spot. Check in was easy and the staff very knowledgeable and friendly. Hotel room was clean, spacious and has everything you would expect. However, the fan was a bit noisy at times but not a major issue. The free breakfast was very good and has a great selection of hot and cold option's. I would return again but would request a room with a quiet fan/heating system.

Front desk staff pleasant. Room heating system too noisy. There should be some staff supervision over children who have training pants or otherwise not toilet trained using hot tubs. Food at included breakfast should be kept hotter.

« Clean Rooms, frees airport shuttle and complimentary warm breakfast »

Rooms were spacious and clean. Comfortable beds. Staff friendly and eager to make our stay comfortable. Our flight was rerouted to Kelowna and needed a place to stay for the night. I wanted a place close to the Greyhound Station. At the airport there is a shuttle booth. Ask for shuttle to Best Western Plus, waited 20 minutes. Shuttle was complimentary . When we arrived we were told complementary hot breakfast served for each of us (2). Cost of room was $130.00 a night, saved at least $20.00 for cab. $30.00 for breakfasts and the Greyhound station was next door, which would have cost $20.00 if we stayed downtown. Great restaurant attached called the Italian Table. Definitely stay there again.

    « Very Comfortable »

Nice room in the tower. Great comfortable beds. Great staff from the front desk to cleaning. I used the fitness center and there was a small issue which maintenance was on top of within minutes. Just great service. An included breakfast was OK, not great and could be improved upon. A good start for the day regardless. Very good place to stay.

    « Room was clean »

Stayed at the Best Western this weekend while in Kelowna for shopping. I am a bit of a germophobe and finding even a hair in the bathtub of a hotel is enough to turn me off. Our hotel room was spotless. Everything was very clean and quiet. I have no complaints. A little disappointed that no one told us about their free breakfast. We ended up checking out early to go to Denny's. At least now we know for next time

I have had the pleasure of staying at a number of hotels in the last few years but this one was most supportive and best rate along with wonderful staff. « Absolutely Excellent »

We stayed two nights this past weekend in this great hotel. We were warmly greeted and made to feel welcomed and valued by the front desk fellow with an Irish accent I believe. So pleasant. In fact any staff at the front desk were warm and acknowledged us whenever we went by. Our room was spotless and well laid out. Everything you'd need is there. Lovely bathroom, great shower head, good TV and channels, and a comfortable bed. The tower room we were in had a balcony too. We did not use the spa or pool facilities but it looks inviting and modern. The breakfast both days was great - all you need and a ton of space to sit and enjoy it. We appreciate the GREEN initiatives the owner and management of this place has implemented. We also rarely have housekeeping service as we don't require it and feel that saves on environmental waste as well! Thank you for a great stay - we will be back.

    « Comfortable & Convenient »

We stayed here on a Friday & Saturday night, after booking ahead to save some money. The rates were reasonable for our King mini-suite in the tower. The room was clean and spacious, as was the bathroom. A balcony with patio chairs looked over the city. There is an indoor pool, plus 2 hot-tubs in the courtyard. Breakfast was good, and it went until 10 - which is nice if you want to sleep in. The hotel is within walking distance of the big stores near the junction, and only a short drive to downtown. We really enjoyed our stay, and would stay here again.

    « Great Stay »

My family was very satisfied with our stay at Best Western. I had to pay a bit more than I would have liked, but it was well worth it! The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the hotel itself was clean and welcoming. The room was clean, and we had a very nice view (even a bit of the lake!) The pool was fun to use, as it was nice, warm mineral water, but it would have been nice to use the hot tub, which was outdoors. The breakfast buffet displayed a great variety of hot and cold options; however, we didn't quite like the scrambled eggs as they were a bit cold. Overall, the experience was great with Best Western Kelowna, and the location is perfect if you just want to do some shopping. Right close to Walmart, Superstore, Staples, etc. We would stay here again, and would recommend the hotel to anyone who is looking for a special stay in Kelowna!

    « Modern and Comfortable »

Our stay here was part of a Titan escorted tour. Kelowna is a convenient stopover location when travelling from the Rockies to the coast. The hotel provides a very comfortable bed and breakfast. There is a variety of good eating places nearby. There is plenty of glass and steel but the hotel is pleasant and the staff friendly and helpful.

    « Another wonderful stay »

We stayed here for four nights while attending a family function. We had a family suite and an executive room. The family suite was well set up with 2 queen beds in the bedroom that had an additional vanity that comes in very handy when travelling with a large family. The main living area has a hida bed, table and chairs, a wet bar tv and addition closet. The bathroom is well equipped with all the regular amenities although the bathtub is very low. There was a balcony that can be accessed from both the living area and the bedroom but this particular room looked onto Golfworld. The second room the executive suite was spacious with a king bed and a sitting area. The view from the balcony on the higher floor in the tower was amazing. The large bathroom has a shower stall as well as a large soaker tub. The staff were wonderful making arrangements for the second room at the last minute. A young man from housekeeping even went out of his way to find a larger bath robe for me and brought it out to the hot tub. The complimentary breakfast is always a lovely touch and the breakfast staff are so very pleasant going out of there way to say hello and clearing plates from the tables.

Location is very convenient, close to shopping and restaurants. The staff very professional. Overall the hotel is immaculate. Breakfast staff friendly and taking care of everyone. The attached pub is a bonus.

    « Nice Stop-Over »

Spent 2 nights here on the way from Vancouver to Jasper. The hotel was very nicely laid out and very clean. We were located on the ground floor in a courtyard room which was very pleasant. The on-site pub was a good location for a casual dinner. The included breakfast was fine if you kept to a continental one as the cooked items were very poor and only lukewarm. The hotel was easy to find being located just of the highway in a commercial area - not pretty but the grounds of the hotel were well kept and created a peaceful oasis.

    « Outstanding! »

We stayed in the tower with an amazing view that overlooked the beautiful courtyard, the city and it even had a view of the lake! All the staff were friendly, from reception at check-in, to the housekeeping and breakfast staff... we were always greeted with friendly smiles and hellos. The breakfast... I thought we could expect a continental, but we were really surprised to see a breakfast buffet with waffles, eggs, omelettes, sausages, and more! We had a few business meetings while we were there, and were happy to have plenty of areas to have a seated meeting in the atrium and outside in the courtyard. The pub and restaurant next door was nice to have great food, service... all within steps from our room. There was no highway noise from our room, it was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. They go the distance with many 'little' touches that make staying here special. Just one of them is seeing huge murals of outdoor locations in the elevators that made me want to explore! Another was having "non-resin" patio chairs/table... it felt upscale and was a nice experience to sit on the patio. They care about your experience at this hotel, and it shows. We'll be staying here again and again!

Room was large and well laid out, very clean. Cute little patio with chairs and table to enjoy the view. The hot breakfast buffet is fabulous with a great selection. They let us check in 7 hours early. The glass enclosed pool is very nice and 2 hot tubs available. They seem to be very eco friendly with solar heated water and recycle box in the room. Would definitely stay there again!

We got a king suite in the tower. For all the hotels I have stayed at, this one is at the top of my list. Everything was great. The room was very clean, the suite was large, the staff was great (Especially Patrick M. when I booked the room on the phone). The bed was incredibly comfortable and the pillows the same. I am one of those people who go away and always find something just not right about my bed and pillows but nope, not here as they where great! Complementary breakfast was great and fresh. Grounds where quite clean. All in all, when traveling back to Kelowna, I will be staying there for sure! Also if you are smoker, the rooms with balconies, if you keep your door closed, you are allowed to smoke on it which is a bonus!

« Two night stay during Okanagan valley visit. »

This is a large hotel located along a roadside strip development east of the downtown. The hotels facilities are excellent, as they should be given the high price. The breakfast was excellent. The room was excellent. The hotel is located in a commercial strip development, so one needs to drive to get to amenities. Kelowna has only one east west road, which was plugged with traffic the entire time we were there. It often took quite a while to get downtown from this hotel, due to the traffic.

    « A fantastic Best Western »

Best Western PLUS Kelowna Hotel & Suites, Kelowna, BRITISH COLUMBIA is a fantastic place to stay. Beautiful, clean, quiet rooms; a really good hot breakfast with real dishes ie not all paper and plastic. The restaurant is top notch, and the pool and hot-tubs lovely and clean too. Even a spa in house.

« Not as good as claimed »

We chose this place based on the reviews here. It is way too pricey for the service we had received. We wondered who owns this place as we have experienced extreme greed here. We wished this place improved so we could stay here again during our next vacation and/or recommend this place to our business partners, family members and friends. After talking to their staff and seeing their employment application we were disquisted. They would ask you on their employment application for your work related injuries in the past 10 years. We will not support this kind of business! Why would you?

    « Excellent Anniversary Night »

We decided to get a suite at the Best Western for our Anniversary. We booked ahead and my husband told them it was our anniversary. Upon our arrival the front counter staff were pleasant and one even sang a song to wish us Happy Anniversary. They told us we had a little something in our fridge in our room as well. They were chocolate covered strawberries(6) and Rocher chocolates and a card from the staff. WOW. We went to the Italian Table for antipasto at 2pm in the afternoon and Wednesday Wine day which wine is on for a great rate all day. Service was very good with Kyle and told us all about the wine. Then for supper we had the awesome Caesar Salad with fried anchovies. It was absolutely delicious. Our main course was their spaghetti and meatball which had incredible taste to it. Everything was perfect! Our wine bottle was discounted once again. The outside hottubs(2) at the Best Western are incredible looking out to the sky and the room and bed was comfy. The free buffet breakfast in the morning has everything! Newspapers are free.

« Great facility, clean and convenient »

We stayed here one night during our road trip out to Kelowna from visiting Vancouver to visit the wineries here in the region. After researching and reading some reviews, decided to go with this hotel here and it did not disappoint. We stayed on a weeknight here and it was still pretty busy, they get quite a bit of traffic here. The hallways and even exterior room doors are beautiful and sleek in its decor. The bathrooms are also very nice, we all enjoyed it very much and the beds were pretty specious and comfy, couldn't hear any noise from the halls or neighbouring rooms. They also had complimentary breakfast which had a good selection, it can get fairly busy though so get down early! The breakfast area faces the pool, which we saw a lot of kids and families took advantage of, so I presume this is a pretty good hotel for families with kids as well. We didn't explore much of Kelowna but the hotel itself is situated in a pretty central location. We got picked up at the hotel to the wineries and the driver told us the Italian restaurant next door (which I believe is part of the hotel) is suppose to be pretty good as well! I would definitely come back and stay here the next time I visit the wineries of Kelowna.

« Great hotel in a great location »

We were staying in the Best Western, Kelowna so we could explore the wineries in the area. This hotel is in a perfect spot to travel from to do the winery tours and is also in a great location for shopping and eating out. Although, the restaurant on site is excellent with great food and a very pleasant staff.
