    « Not 'Quality Inn' »

As part of a tour, we stayed for 2 nights. Our room was spacious, the bed comfortable and everything was ok and basic. The biggest let downs for me were the staff nonchalance and lack of cleanliness and refilling at breakfast. Staff were unwilling to investigate who the owner was of a refrigeration truck that was really loud late at night outside rooms. The bin in the dining area was over flowing on the second morning. There was a dead cricket on the ground and crumbs under the table that were there since at least the previous morning. One room in our party entered their allocated room to find it hadn't been cleaned from the previous guests. Offered another room but turned it down because the locks had been damaged in an attempted break in.

    « Being renovated »

The staff here is VERY friendly. That's the best thing. The motel was untilrecently a Best Western, but is now a Quality Inn and is being gradually renovated. The room is very clean and comfortable, but some fixtures lack. The heat/airconditioner is of/on. No temperature control. The breakfast room is nice, but the breakfast is bare minimum. Fine for a no frills stay.STaff are very obliging.

    « Third Party Pricing. »

Overall the hotel was nice but not a $100.00 per night nice in Indianola, Ms. I would have understood that price in a little small town like that if they have an event or something like, but during the week with noting going on I don't think so.

« LEAKING TUB AND KNOBS TIGHTENED SO TIGHT COULDNT TURN TUB ON »

LEAKING TUB AND KNOBS TIGHTENED SO TIGHT COULDNT TURN TUB ON. Yes. Get hair color in your hair ladies because you won't be able to rinse it out if the hot and cold knobs are so tight in a poor attempt to make the tub stop running not dropping instead of fixing it the right way. Ladies paradise. NOT. oh and call the front desk to be put on hold until you get tired of waiting and hang up. It's ok. You can call back and be put on hold again. They have seen the LAST OF MY $ since I stay here all the time. New owner/manager. Try again !!!!!!!

« More than you can expect for a cheap price »

The hotel was perfect for our trip. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. The beds are comfortable. The area is safe. The customer service was awesome, the staff was very kind. It has free parking and you can find a lot of empty spots. The wi-fi is free and works perfect. The breakfast is good.

    « Quiet, clean, comfortable »

After 6 days of staying in other best westerns across the US this one was the best! Built so you can't hear neighbors or plumbing Could have had a few more breakfast options, missed having yogurt. Really nice and helpful owners.

« Great Place to Stay »

I needed a place for four nights on a business trip. The Best Western was the perfect place for my needs. Lonnie, in maintenance, Janet in Housekeeping and April at the front desk were caring and helpful. Breakfast was great. Everyone there made you feel important. Room was clean and towels were fresh. WiFi was great and no interruptions.

« Good Value and Comfort »

Just staying one night we opted for the Best Value we could find. This BW was that - great staff and overall nice property. Did have a room problem at checking but staff corrected promptly to my satisfaction. Breakfast was good with many choices and fresh foods both hot and cold - plus waffles - though I don't eat them - they are a nice item - Overall I'd rate this hotel very good - especially for the value.

« Wouldn't stay here again if it were free »

I have high standards when it comes to hotels. I expect Best Western to meet or exceed those standards. In no way did this hotel even come close. The staff were friendly enough and claimed that the property was due for an overhaul but they need to get that done before they put a Best Western name on it. One of the things I need when I stay somewhere is a comfortable bed. If that doesn't happen, it ruins me for the next day's travel. My back hurts all over from this supposed "pillow top" bed. A pillow top bed usually has at least three inches of padding, usually attached to the bed (manufactured). This one is a hard mattress with 1/2 inch of a mattress topper. No way. I went to bed extremely tired and could have gotten 8+ hours of much needed sleep but tossed and turned all night because of the bed. The bathroom area is the smallest I've ever seen in a Best Western. The toilet is jammed up next to the wall and the paper holder pushes up against your body while seated. The tub looks like it was made for a toddler. The internet is very slow but at least it worked. In all, I'm surprised that Best Western allowed this hotel to bear it's brand. I hope the overhaul comes soon and brings the standards up. For the price I paid, I would expect a much better stay. This reminded me of a Budget Inn. Maybe that's what it was in a previous life.

    « Best Experience Ever!!! »

Being a regular business traveler I have stayed at hotels in the entire United States. Many of my stays have been at the Best Western and I find great pleasure in writing this review regarding my recent stay at this Best Western in Indianola. The rooms here are completely remodeled and one of the cleanest rooms I have seen of any other Best Western. I challenge you to do the "white glove test" and you will see for yourself what I am talking about. The AC comes out a nice crisp cold air and everything in the room is just as crisp. During my last stay I had an unexpected emergency and the staff at the hotel came through for me and helped me out of a tight jam regarding a business project that I needed the following morning. The staff at the hotel are made up of the nicest people one can ever come across. The managers and staff were available to me around the clock and made my stay so very pleasant. The entire staff at this Best Western was very accommodating to my every whim and made me feel so appreciated. I will definitely return to this Best Western every time I pass through Indianola and next time plan on bringing my family to this beautiful part of town. Thank you Philip to you and your lovely wife for such an awesome experience.

« Overpriced and not up to standard; needs work. »

It was clean. Breakfast was decent. Samsung flat screen Ok, that's the best I can say. The non-smoking room smelled like cigarette smoke...old smoke...like the old smoke that's in the AC filter. The desk chair back was broken and leaning FAR back. Useless as anything but an upholstered stool. The lavatory drained very slowly. Washing your hands, and certainly shaving filled the bowl with the "drain" wide open. Turning the knobs on the tub plumbing pulled the whole ensemble in and out of the tub enclosure. Some rooms looked on an enclosed breezeway as the only "view." Tired at the end of a day and didn't try for another room as we got the distinct impression these two rooms may be the last available.

    « Not a bad stay »

I frequently stay at Best Westerns and have an idea of what to expect from them. Granted, each property is maintained differently but this one was fairly well maintained and felt clean, it just wasn't quite up to par with some of the bigger Best Western facilities. However, I would stay here again, especially over other choices in the area. Noted, this town is not the safest of towns and had some very rough areas. There aren't a whole lot of restaurants, mostly fast food and mom and pop joints in the area. I had no issues at this Best Western though and I am happy they were in the area.

    « Great Service-Great Place »

I have stayed at this Best Western for 5 days a week, for almost two months on business, the Owners made you feel like home, staff, Overly Friendly, Professional and Polite, I never had any problems with my room or any problems while I was there.
